Since Xitang is not large in area, it is mostly used as a serial tour. The most popular route is Xitang-Shanghai. For ancient town tours, you can consider Zhouzhuang-Xitang-Nanxun-Wuzhen. If you have enough time, a Jiangsu-Zhejiang serial tour such as: Nanjing-Suzhou-Zhouzhuang-Xitang-Hangzhou is also possible.

In the morning, visit Zhang Zheng Root Carving Museum, Jiangnan Tile Museum, Shao Hong Kong, Ni Tianzeng Ancestral Home Exhibition Hall, Shengtang, Tangdong Street, and China Wine Culture Museum, and taste the specialties of the water town. In the afternoon, stroll along the Misty Rain Corridor, visit the Seven Lords Temple, Zuiyuan, Shipi Lane, Zhongfu Hall, Xiyuan, and China Button Museum, and return.
Day 1: Arrive in the town around 4 p.m., visit West Street, Shao Hong Kong, Ni Tianzeng's Ancestral Residence Exhibition Hall, the Holy Church, Tangdong Street, and the China Wine Culture Museum. Sample local specialties, cruise along the Xutang River, enjoy the night view of the ancient town as the lights come on, and check in to the hotel.

Following the scene where Tom Cruise ran in the American Hollywood blockbuster "Mission Impossible III", we will go from Ming and Qing Food Dynasty to Anjing Bridge, Yongning Bridge, Misty Rain Corridor, Songzi Laifeng Bridge, Huanxiu Bridge, Zhongfu Hall (stills from all the films and TV series shot in Xitang), Xiyuan (Miss Tourism World Photography Exhibition), Button Hall, and then cross Yongning Bridge to Wan'an Bridge (the last shot in the film).
