It usually takes 3-4 days to visit Xishuangbanna. Olive Dam, Wild Elephant Valley, Parashorea chinensis, and Botanical Garden are must-see attractions in Xishuangbanna.
D1: Jingzhen Octagonal Pavilion → Daluo Scenery → Single Tree Forest
D2: Lancang River Scenic Spot → Olive Dam (Dai Nationality Garden) → Tropical Botanical Garden → Manting Park
D3: Jinuo Mountain → Wild Elephant Valley → Jinghong
Day 1: Depart Jinghong in the morning and take the shuttle bus from Jinghong to Daluo. Get off at Menghai County and visit the Jingzhen Octagonal Pavilion and the Bodhi tree beside it, so tall that it takes three people to hug it. Continue by bus to the border town of Daluo. Have lunch there and explore the unique landscape of a single tree forest. Return to Jinghong by minibus in the evening.
Day 2: In the morning, depart Jinghong for Menglun. Along the way, explore the Lancang River, visit the famous Olive Dam, known as the "Peacock's Tail Feather," and enjoy the tropical scenery and Dai villages. Sample and purchase a variety of tropical fruits. After lunch, enjoy lunch in Menglun Town. After lunch, walk across the Luosuo River Suspension Bridge (approximately 10 minutes) to the Menglun Tropical Botanical Garden, where you can admire a variety of tropical plants and the Luosuo River. Return to Jinghong in the afternoon. In the evening, enjoy a bonfire party at Manting Park, where you can enjoy ethnic songs, dances, and performances.
Day 3: In the morning, travel by bus from Jinghong to Jinuo Mountain. Besides enjoying the natural scenery, you'll also learn about the Jinuo people, China's last recognized ethnic minority. Then, travel to Wild Elephant Valley for an elephant show and visit the Elephant Museum. Return to Jinghong. If you have time, explore Jinghong City. Return in the evening, concluding your trip.
D1: Various places → Kunming → Jinghong, after settling in, you can visit Lancang River Night Market
D2: Manting Park → Zhongke Botanical Garden (Su Botanical Garden or Mengla)
Day 3: Botanical Garden or Mengla → Parashorea chinensis → Mengyuan Wonderland (optional) → Jinghong
Day 4: Ganlanba Dai Nationality Garden → Bonfire Party at Mengbala Naxi or Manting Park
D5: Wild Elephant Valley → Jinuo Village
Day 6: Return (If you do not go to Jinuo Village, you can return in the afternoon of the 5th day)
D1: Jinghong South Station → Mengla → Mohan Port → Parashorea chinensis
D2: Mengla → Menglun Botanical Garden → Jinghong City → Lancang River → Night Market
D3: Jinghong Tire Retreading Factory → Jinuo Village → Olive Dam → Return Home
