The view is great. No doubt about that. If you buy the tickets online, they are cheaper. Don’t bother with adding a drink or the tilt experience – as far as I could see, not worth it. Just do the general admission and take in the breathtaking views. Well worth it.

Visiting 360° Chicago was an unforgettable experience! Located in the iconic John Hancock Building, this observation deck offers stunning panoramic views of the Chicago skyline, Lake Michigan, and beyond. Whether you’re visiting during the day to see the city in full detail or at night when the lights create a magical atmosphere, the views are absolutely breathtaking.
One of the highlights of my visit was TILT, the thrilling attraction that leans you out over the edge of the building for a one-of-a-kind perspective of the city. It’s an exhilarating experience that I highly recommend for those seeking a little adventure!
The staff was friendly, and the entire space was well-maintained, making for a smooth and enjoyable visit. There’s also a bar where you can sip on a cocktail while taking in the views—perfect for a relaxing moment above the city.
If you’re in Chicago, 360° Chicago is a must-visit attraction that offers an unmatched perspective of the city. Whether you’re a tourist or a local, this experience is worth every penny!

Is Not worth it.
Is so hot over there. 90x2
You can not take pictures nono, I'm not coming back ever again

Views were as expected. It was lunch time on a Sunday in September so, no lines and plenty of space to see all the views. Did not try the tilt. Unimpressed with the souvenir cup which is a plastic beaker. In the photo advertising the different ticket prices when a drink from the Cloud Bar is included it shows a nice glass. That’s what we thought we were getting to commemorate our trip. The bar staff are obviously used to this as they have the patter down- “ sorry, we get that a lot. The plastic one is easier for travel” not their fault the company uses false advertising. $147 for 3 people for an overpriced elevator ride with a commemorative plastic cup! Would have tried the Skydeck had we known, but both are expensive so couldn’t do both.

We were deciding between the 360 Chicago and the Skydeck during our visit to Chicago. We decided on the 360 Chicago because of the skyline views, including the Willis/Sears Tower, from that vantage point.
Admission is about $30 per person...but we did it as part of the CityPass bundle. Both CityPass and GoCity include this attraction if desired.
We arrived at around 2pm for our 2:30 timed admission. (You can arrive within 30 minutes of your admission time) At that time, 2:30pm on a Wednesday, the place was pretty empty. After our tickets were scanned, we walked through a brief scanning area and proceeded to the walkway leading to the elevator to go up. The walkway had some interesting facts about Chicago along the way.
The elevator ride was surprisingly quick up to the 94th floor. On the 94th Floor, there are beautiful views of the city, a snack and drink (including alcoholic drinks) area and a souvenir shop. There is also the TILT area...where, for $10, you can tilt over the side of the building...the angle wasn't very steep...should be okay for most people.
While the views were nice, I think the SkyDeck offers a bit more for the price. Now, the 360 Chicago does allow tripods...so that may come in handy for those photographers who are interested in sunset, night or other long exposure photos.
All staff we encountered were welcoming, friendly and efficient.
Lots of parking lots in the immediate area but they are pricey. We were able to find street parking in the area and pay via the ParkChicago app....the rate in that immediate area was $4.50 per hour with a maximum of 2 hours...which was perfect for our visit.
There is a lot to do and see in the immediate area, particularly along Michigan Avenue, so it may be a good idea to plan this attraction into some others in the area.

Amazing view of the city, lake and pier! The weather was a little cloudy, but that still did not take away from the view. The bar also makes a great mimosa! The Tilt ride wasn't bad, just be cautious if you're afraid of heights!

The views were stunning, we were lucky to be there on a clear sunny afternoon. The ride up is quite interesting with a number of facts about the building. Great to do for a first trip and those who like urban sights.

No problem with queuing, having booked time slot. Not very busy. Very expensive - $45 each (including $9 for TILT) The tilt was ok but not really worth the extra. Even my wife, who doesn't do thrill rides, was very calm throughout. We were lucky as weather was fine and sunny. However, I'd check forecast before booking. You may see little on a cloudy day.

Fabulous views of the city & Lake. We paid to do TILT, scary at first - glad it tilted about 3 times as this gave us chance to relax & enjoy it. Not many staff around monitoring the lift on the way down.

I debated on doing 360 Chicago or the Sky Deck. I ended up choosing 360 Chicago and I am glad with my choice. This sits closer to lake Michigan so the views are unmatched. There are also views of Willis Tower and Lincoln Park. It is also less crowded so you don’t feel rushed or cramped. We did also purchase the Tilt ride. It was okay, but I wouldn’t do it again.

We chose to do this at night having seen Chicago by day from the Skydeck.
It was included in our Go City Pass so apart from the original calculations as to the viability of the pass based upon what we wanted to see n Chicago the cost didn’t come into the equation.
I felt that having unlimited time once you were up there was a great advantage. No one was rushing you. There is also a bar if you want to sit and socialise.
The views are stunning particularly as you have the lake, beach and promontory with the Planetarium to see rather than just endless buildings

Been able to see the entire city, the bay while enjoying a drink at the cloud bar was amazing! It felt like it was my own penthouse. I love it! I will want to do it again. My spouse enjoyed so much that she didn’t want to leave. I will strongly recommend it.

Amazing view! We went during the night and it was incredible. We did the tilt too and it was surreal. The only negative is how expensive the drinks are but everything else was very good.

The views from the tower are good but it is extremely overpriced, the tilt is very expensive and lasts about 10 seconds, not worth the extra $20 each

An awesome place to be at. Take the elevator up to the 94th floor and you will be greeted to great views of Downtown Chicago and the surrounding neighbourhoods. Go especially at night, the view is much prettier then.
My only complaint would be that it can get a bit boring here while you wait to go up to the top. I didn't think too much about this until I also went up the Sears Tower a few days later. The Sears Tower has gone under a complete makeover where there are many photo op stations and interactive exhibits featuring the history of Chicago. If the John Hancock Center did this as well, then my review would be 5 stars.
Otherwise this place is well worth the admission price to go up to the 94th floor, even though it is a bit pricey. You won't regret it.

It pays to book in advance, as there are always a lot of people.
We entered with the evening entrance and seeing the city from that height in the evening is just fantastic.
Unfortunately when we arrived it started to rain and therefore, the Attraction of the protruding windows, for safety reasons, we could not do it

The view from up here is incredible, but we were very poorly attended to. We tried to buy a collectible coin, the machine didn't work, they had four coin options but only one came out,
We asked a store employee and he simply said there was nothing to do. Other customers complained before but the machine was still there! And yet another machine right here, which we went to before, swallowed one of our dollars and no coins. Same answer.

Definitely worth going for the views! Get a drink at the Cloud bar but skip Tilt, that part was not really worth it in my opinion but I'm so glad I went.

We went there in the morning. Very nice view of the city. There's no point paying "tilt." It is simply a glass that tilts forward and it does not contribute anything to the open landscape.
Do not forget to go see the sculpture hanging from the ceiling that is in the lobby of the other main entrance: Lucent that shines with its 3115 lights

Amazing breathtaking views of Chicago and Lake Michigan. I could probably sit there for hours and enjoy the view. Love that you have the option to add the Tilt experience after your purchase because it is very scary to look down and it would be a waste of money to pay for something you’re too scared to do. Like that you also have the option to go back and retake your pictures (not on Tilt). Only negative to the Sip and View is that the drinks are premade in a bottle and they don’t remind you that the glasses are souvenirs.

The view from the top is amazing. You must know that in order for you to participate in the tilt, there is another $10 fee p/p. And if it is busy, you might have to wait additional time.

We had done the skydeck as well a couple of days before. The 360 has great views, just from a different point in the sky. The advantage here was being able to see in all directions.
And then you can have a go on the tilt, great fun

Super cool experience with young kids (7 & 10)! Absolutely pay the extra money for the Tilt experience! It was an absolute thrill!

We were staying a few blocks away for a concert and decided to have brunch and then check this out the afternoon before the show. The views are spectacular, though I think it's a bit overpriced. I will go back to see if at night though, because I think that would be worth it. Overall, it was a good experience, I took a star away for the price gouging. Bonus: there's a Starbucks in the lobby 🙃

There is nothing like the John Hancock building view, next to the lake. We like it much better than the Wilis Tower. The view is great but way too many drunken people up in the bar to watch the sunset. Pretty pricey for what it is.

Amazing to view Chicago site. Make reservation early can be crowded.
The lilt best to get ticket early since its a new experience. Wish we did, day we went it was raining.

What a ripoff
Tickets are nonrefundable!!!
Literally all it is you go up in an elevator and look out the windows.
you could do that in any building .
The Tilt is extra of course ,
you don’t know that till you get there.
Total tourist trap, not worth the money at all!!!
Don’t bother!!!!
We were with a group of other people that couldn’t believe what a ripoff it was.😞

Back in the day, this was simply called the John Hancock Tower and the 94th floor. I was up here a LONG time ago (like decades) and must say the new '360 Chicago; branded experience is pretty cool. We purchased the sip/view tickets which gets you up there and you get a complimentary cocktail. The views were really spectacular from all vantage points and because they only let so many folks up at a time it was not so crowded you could not get good photos. Your complimentary cocktail is from a list of decent adult beverages, easy to walk up and get served then sit and enjoy the view. We probably spent about 45 minutes up there I would guess?
It is a tourist thing -- so I suppose for roughly $47 each it was not too bad considering the drink thrown in. We really enjoyed ourselves and did the Willis Tower as well and found this one to be far superior for price/view if you only have time/can afford one.

What a wonderful way to see the city of Chicago lit up at night! Get the sip & see package- it is worth it. Thanks, Trip Advisor, for the recommendation.

We paid $108 for the two of us to go to the observation floor and have one drink each. Yes you get good views but it just wasn’t worth the time or money. It was just one floor which contained a gift store, a bar, cafe area, a couple of viewing areas with a few neighborhood names listed on the windows. There was an area “The Tilt” which would appeal to some more adventurous but you had to pay extra for that. And the drinks we had, small plastic “souvenir glasses” and I think they forgot to put the alcohol in there. We have been to The View in Boston which was an excellent experience over three floors! 360 Chicago - don’t bother going!

This offers stunning panoramic views of the city and Lake Michigan from the 94th floor. The experience is smooth and well-organized, with optional thrills like TILT for the adventurous. A must visit for the first timers and skyline lovers!

The views were amazing! We took so many pictures and videos. It’s worth the trip and the price. The drinks were delicious too

The views were great. We went just before sunset so got a view with the sun, the sunset, and the evening lights. However, the tilt isn’t worth the cost. It was maybe 15-20 seconds in duration and you aren’t allowed to take your own photos.
Overall, while the view was great it was incredibly overpriced for the tilt add on.

4 out of 5... tickets did not include a free drink at the 360 Bar, wording is confusing and bartender confirmed there is often confusion about this. Need to please clarify

This is a tourist-only attraction that must be booked in advance. Admission costs about $35 per person and you have to pay “extra” for the sloping platform. I consider tourists to be overexploited, it is very saturated, and although it is a very high viewpoint the day has to be very clear and cloudless. There are really other more attractive and economical activities.

Third time up. Always amazing views. Would suggest that the floor display panels in the elevators are fixed so guests can see the floors wizzing by as they travel up and then down. Highly recommend to get up there an hour before sunset so you can see the transition.

This is a must when Chicago...I know, if you ask me pretty much all the tourist attractions are a must but I just love Chicago, so sue me.
Take the speedy elevator up, and get ready to have your breath taken away by the views. We were so in awe that we forgot a picture. We were there to enjoy the views, after all.
Crowds are well managed and staff is ready to answer questions and provide tips.

Amazing way to see the whole of the city. Incredible views! On the advice of the staff we opted to go up later than planned and we were glad we did. We got the whole experience and saw the Lakeshore, the gold Coast as well as all the well- known and iconic architectural sights!

View was great, not too busy. Seamless entry and exit. The lookout glasses need to be cleaner, especially, the spiders need to be disposed.

The 360 Chicago Observation deck is one of the tall building in Chicago, which was completed in 1970 at that time it was the tallest building in the city of Chicago but Skydeck is the tallest building in Chicago at this time. It has superior views over the lake Michigan and the city. It is on the 94th floor with tilting glass view. There is a rooftop restaurant, signature room, offering dining with panoramic views. I highly recommend you not to forget to visit at 360 Chicago building.

First time in Chicago! Enjoyed the view and the best cocktails on town! Recommend this place is you are in town. You won't regret it.

Bad experience using TILT. Employees who don't respect customers and have a laugh. Do not allow filming or taking pictures to charge dearly for photos and videos. Over $65! Influencers take pictures and film. Normal people who paid for the ticket cannot. I do not recommend.

visited 360 Chicago years ago as a tourist and had a wonderful experience. Since becoming a proud resident of the Windy City two years ago, I’d been eager to revisit. When I learned about their free admission week for Chicago residents (March 1–7), I was excited to finally return and familiarize myself with the attraction ahead of my friends’ summer visit.
Unfortunately, Chicago’s harsh weather made weekday visits impractical. On Friday evening (March 7), I decided to brave the cold and arrived at the Hancock Tower around 8 PM—three hours before closing. To my surprise, there were few visitors, and staff informed us that free tickets had run out by 6:30 PM. While I understand the need for capacity limits, this was the first time I’d encountered a free admission event with such a strict, unadvertised quota. Disappointed, my group left without even reaching the ticket counter.
Afterward, I revisited 360 Chicago’s website, social media, and local news outlets but found no mention of daily ticket limits. The promotion emphasized only that residents needed a valid ID and zip code, implying guaranteed access during the event dates. While a small note in the FAQ section mentioned “first come, first served” tickets, this critical detail was buried and easily overlooked.
Had I known about the cap, I would have adjusted my plans to avoid wasting a Friday evening in freezing weather. While I appreciate the gesture of free admission, the lack of transparency turned what should have been a nostalgic return into a frustrating experience. Clear communication about ticket limits would have spared many residents time and effort.
360 Chicago remains an iconic destination, but this oversight in managing expectations was a letdown. I hope future events prioritize clarity to ensure all visitors leave with positive memories.

Fantastic place. Excellent view. It's worth a visit. The view of the city is exceptional. There's a North Face store on the ground floor of the building and a restaurant right below.

Great views from 94 Floor of Chicago & Lake Michigan. Pre-booked & when we arrived the ground floor staff were great & advised limited visibility & we could rebook another time - we decided to just try our luck & the viability was good once we got up there.
TILT was included in our ticket wasn't what we expected - should have booked without - staff at the TILT & up the top were not the best just unhelpful & we felt we were interrupting there day!
The views & no Lines made it a good activity to do.

This was a fun (and terrifying) experience. The staff were so friendly and information was readily available. We paid for the sip and tilt experience and the cocktails were beautiful! The views were unreal. The only thing I felt wasn’t great was the waiting time to do the tilt experience. It felt really long even with the pre booked time slots. The tilt was amazing and so much better than I expected. Would highly recommend this experience.

A great experience from start to finish. It was easy to purchase tickets on my TripAdvisor Plus app. All of the employees were friendly and helpful. The Tilt experience was awesome. The views were amazing. If you are planning to visit Chicago, put this on your to-do list!

took out town friends to 360 Chicago at the Hancock. Enjoy place to watch atop one of the Chicago's tallest bldg and sit, have a drink and simply relax. the AC on this hot day was working well that was cool!

I went to this on a Sunday around noon and it was not crowded at all, but I did not do the Tilt experience. I only paid to take the elevator ride and looked around for about 20 minutes. While I was in Chicago I went here and also to the Willis Tower. The view and the pictures were better from the John Hancock Building -- 360 Chicago.

the description makes it sound as if the Tilt 360 is part of the purchase, but it is not, you have to pay an additional $9 to get around a minute maybe two with Tilt360.
So, the total is $39 I don't think it is worth it. I would highly suggest including the tilt within the offer, so $30 would be reasonable for both.
This is the description of the activity at the moment of writing this review: "It’s the only place you can enjoy Chicago’s highest thrill ride, TILT – a giant moving platform that literally TILTs visitors over the edge of the building."
A note at the end of the description that the other activities are not included would make it clear for people.

Have been here before in 2017 during the day, and came this time at night. The night view with the city lights was stunning and in my opinion less crowded. We did come in a Thursday night at 6:30 pm. Was very peaceful to see the city at night and we didn’t have a long line for the 360 tilt either.

Really enjoyed this viewing platform. Was spacious and views were phenomenal as it was a clear, sunny evening. Recommend going up 30 mims before sunset to get the view before, during and after.
Tilt is ok, a bit of fun and worth doing if there.

Wonderful views of Chicago from every angle and looking out over the lake was spectacular. The city has an incredible variety of architectural styles.

Great views near of the lake to the north and east along with a Willis tower view to capture the relative location and cloud height.
Was disappointed in the Tilt additional charge and didn’t pay after watching how it operated from the side glass. It looked safe but should be included with the larger fees to the top for the 4 minute lean onto the glass aka tilt.
Seemed like more people were arriving later for a nighttime lights viewing. I recommend both as our first look was at 2pm and not very crowded.
Leave time for reading and reviewing much historical pictures and descriptions before the elevator ride. Recommend the 360 viewing from this building as it is significantly different than the Willis twr views. Bring your camera and make sure it’s charged- good family pictures location at several windows 360 degrees.

Excellent place and attention 🤩, except that the place is not bilingual and apart from the price you have to buy an extension to move to the TILT. But 100% recommended I give you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very nice view of Chicago, late evening, friendly, no crowds, stunning views of the Mississippi, different views at strategic locations

Did this and the Willis Tower in the same day, both are a must if visiting Chicago. Did this one at night really cool and be sure you do the lean out deck.

Loved that this was not a timed event. Was able to grab a drink at the top and observe fireworks while observing a 360 view of Chicago.

First off I must say that I’m super impressed by the elevator - you rise from the ground to the 94th floor in 40 seconds. 😂
Was this a cool experience? Yes. You can see everything around Chicago, which is cool. The view is immaculate and breathtaking. I just feel like $40 per person is a bit steep just to ride to the top of a skyscraper. If you have a party larger than two, the money adds up.
We did not purchase the drink package that was included, but did buy two drinks at the bar (strawberry daiquiri and coke with bourbon). Those two drinks were $38 before tip. The bar has loud, club-esque music playing which added to the atmosphere, but you have to snag a seat quick because this place stays busy.
Was I glad I visited? Yes. Was the cost worth the visit? Eh. I don’t know that I would go out of my way to do it again.

The views of Lake Michigan were awesome. Restaurants and food was great. Architectural tour of the Chicago River was very good! North Chicago is very nice and clean!

The weather was not great on the day of our visit so visibility was not so good. However, we were still able to see most of Chicago.
When you get to the Skydeck you have only 90 seconds to spend on the glass. This includes the time it takes for the official photo.
This is very short and doesn't allow for you to take your own photo's with different views.

Horrible experience. Greedy and incompetent operators forced hundreds of patrons to wait hours in line to go upstairs where there was zero visibility. Elevators were out of order and there was no view. Operators did not explain, apologize, or notify patrons.

Beautiful views from every angle. The wait to get to the elevator was about 30 minutes, but other than that I enjoyed the view.

Went to Willis tour a couple days before and this was way better. Great views up the lake and over the loop and miracle mile and river north.
The Tilt experience is completely worth trying once. Highly recommend

We did the tilt experience which was fun, lasts about 90 seconds and not as scary as I thought it would be. As others have said they don’t allow you to take photos and yes it is because they take them for you to purchase, which we did. You get a great view of Chicago and we had a cocktail whilst taking in the view.

The experience is one you remember, especially if done at sunset or in the evening. Frankly, $40 just to go up seems like a steal

This place has good night views of the city. TILT experience was too short but good. I dont think this place will be as good as night during the day. Tickets get sold out fast so ensure to pick up. Also note that in Chicago there is something else called as sky observation deck as well. So be aware as to which building you have booked for.

Beautiful view, especially at 6 pm when night falls over Chicago and the lights start to come on.
We paid for the tilt, it really wasn't the great experience we were hoping for, go prepared to stand in a 30-45 minute line. Then everything is summarized in 3 minutes:
- 1 minute to enter and get comfortable, leave the bags on a table
- 1 minute on tilt, which hardly tilts
- 1 minute to pick up your bag and leave
Go prepared to experience an outstanding sunset over a beautiful city.

The views really are incredible - well organised with plenty of staff - shop and bar at the top so we could have a drink and wait for the sunset.
Can buy the Tilt when there if you fancy it - my husband decided he wanted a go when he saw it (paid an extra $18).
Photos are taken for you to buy when in there… they sell you packages but if you scan the QR code on the ticket you are given I got all the photos digitally from the website for €40 (Top Tip… if you have more than one ticket like we did (pics as we enter and pics from my hubbys Tilt experience) then use one of their machines to scan both at once to ‘view’ everything together - then you only have to scan one of the tickets on the website and buy one package as they are already all linked together)

Another must-see place in Chicago. The views from the observation floor are fantastic. I took out the general entrance, but once there I wanted to enjoy a "beer with a view", which turned out to be $12, but it tasted like glory. Keep this in mind, as there is a ticket that includes a drink in the price. The TILT experience, the wall that slopes 30o above the street, is unique.

Interesting playground with stunning views of Chicago and Lake Michigan. It's breathtaking to be so beautiful.

This is such an awesome experience! The building is gorgeous and the views are amazing! We did an evening visit to see everything in daylight and night, both views were breathtaking. Great vibe and good drinks! A must see if you visit Chicago!! (If you drink, get the option that comes with a drink).

Visited with friends and family. We enjoyed our time and the music was an amazing vibe addition to fit the views. We ended up staying longer than expected because the vibes were there. I wish that they offered some type of appetizers. The snacks were cute but could've been better. We asked a staff member if they had a dj and he told us that their manager Gaby controlled the music. We ended up meeting Gaby at the elevator before leaving and she was amazing! My brother even stopped to ask her to send him her playlist. Keep her and her music around!! Also the bartender Shaday served us well and made the best drinks. Next time we are in town we will be back to enjoy the experience.

If your in the area and want a unique opportunity to see a nice view of the city this place is kinda cool. It's a bit pricey but what activity in Chicago isn't. The drinks are very expensive.

Nice view. Recommend to go. The glass thing was nothing and not worth the extra in my opinion. But the view overall is nice

What a view over the city and lake. Even though i hate heights, it was such an experience. The temperatures outside was freezing due to visiting in january, the area was inside and so cosy. Staff excellent, couldn't do enough to welcome us. I recommended visiting.

Amazing city and lake views. I also did the Tilt experience which felt really scary ar first but fun in the end.
I was here in February and it was pretty quiet, no lines to get in the elevator nor for the Tilt.

I was lucky to get a good position to see the sunset and took some good pictures. I think watching sunset from this location is the best thing of this attraction. I suggest to enter at least 1 hour before sunset to get best position to watch it because there will be a lot of people want to watch the sunses as well. I also took some city landscape pictures. I also tried the tilting glass. It’s a must here.

The view was just as promised, breathtaking! We went on a Wednesday, our tour time was 11:30. The observation floor was not crowded at all. It was perfect.

Loved everything about it except the dirty windows did make my phone spaz out when I was trying to take pictures. Everybody was so friendly.

I only recommend this place if you have plenty of money to spend. Nice view however your are paying almost $50 for it and you can take a look of the view in less than 5 minutes. Now if you want to enjoy it a little more be ready to spend another $30 more.

A fantastic building with a very nice exhibition about Chicago before you take the ultra-fast elevators up to the top.

I have a natural born fear of heights do I didn’t think I would enjoy this at all. I was travelling alone and booked an earlier morning slot midweek to avoid too many crowds. I had the tilt zone to myself. They have a photographer on site who takes pics of you during the Chicago 360 Tilt from start to finish. The photos came out great and I loved the tilt experience. I was blessed with great weather so had very good clear views across Chicago.

Best way to see all of the city. No pressure to move along. Take your time and take all the pictures you want. Elevator ride straight to the top.

Having seen Chicago by boat and bicycle we wanted to see how it all fitted together from the air. 94 floors up and still buildings taller than us. The views are spectacular.

Was an unbelievable view, very exciting, staff was helpful & friendly. The accommodations were so nice, great seating & bar. Will be back!

There were four ticket options to choose from; we went with the basic general admission. The cost was $35/adult, but with the senior discount, we paid $63 for two tickets. One of the options included TILT (where you tilt over the edge 1,000+ feet above Chicago). Knew I wasn’t picking that option! The elevator takes you to the 94th floor, where there's a bar, a gift shop, and amazing photo opportunities! The views were incredible from everywhere on the observation deck!

This was such a cool experience. This was the first place we went to when we arrived in Chicago. We got there an hour before sunset. Loved the brief history lesson and video before going up the 94 floors to the observation deck. The views were amazing. You can see an amazing view of the city and Lake Michigan. We also caught an amazing picture of the sunset. I liked the cloud room. They also had a bar where you could get drinks and snack food. Highly recommend checking this place out especially if it's your first time in Chicago.

Easy and fast to get in to the atracción, great views of Chicago and amazing sunset. The bar and drinks were very good. It always good to come back.

We went to 360Chicago an hour before sunset. That was a great decision! We enjoyed the view in brightness, at dusk and finally also in darkness! Because we were able to choose a cocktail in the Cloud Bar, we did not get bored and watched the sunset comfortably. Luckily it wasn't so crowded and we had the best weather. Recommended!

Received tickets to this as a freebie from our Hotel (though I am sure we were paying for them somehow) so kinda felt obligated to use them. Booked in the day before when it was hosing down with rain, and we therefore felt a little sceptical.
But we woke to blazing October sunshine and the views were just spectacular. This is the point, but because it is that bit higher than the nearby scrapers you get just amazing perspectives on all four sides. Chicago's hinterland is vast and kinda flat, which does bring into question why exactly they need to keep on building such ludicrously high buildings, but having made the decision, they have been doing it to a very high degree of excellence for well over a hundred years, and this is a great place to see it from. You also get a sense of how green Chicago is despite the intensity of building.
The Skydeck does exactly what you would have thought and the views are every bit as good as you would expect, especially on a lovely clear day. Beautiful
Issues - none of these interfere materially with the basic point of the dramatic views but....the electric green vibe in the lobby is a bit weird; they were working on the south side "open air" gallery (it's heavily screened to protect the accident prone) which reduced the floor area and was pretty noisy; in keeping with 90% of American food outlets the "coffee" in the cafe was made some time in the previous century and is undrinkable; there are some very weird bits of machinery into which you place small coins and receive a strange meccanoesque sort of keepsakes - why were these ever a thing and surely their day is now long past - bar presence in a museum of weird stuff which the Skydeck is not. Please take them away, one or two of them obstruct otherwise excellent viewing points.

Such a great attraction, lots of beaty to observe. The cloud bar was awesome, the tilt was a great experience.

Great views of the city! It is worth the visit. Go early. It does get crowded. I didn't do the tilt or check out the bar. Gift shop at the entrance and at the top. Definitely make time to check it out. Enjoy!

Terrible experience to leave! The rude and unPro manager, total chaos to get out, better go to the skydeck, better organization. Only one elevator out of the three worked to get out, in an emergency case I don’t understand how so many people can get running only one elevator, I felt at risk! Awful service!

Awesome views.. Friendly staff. Great experience for family, friends, couples, coworkers or yourself. Thanks again for a great experience.

What a view! Great if the weather is nice to see the sunset. But still worth visiting and seeing the panorama of Chicago. Very high , but everything was smooth, booking tickets, entrance and they you can stay up there was as long as you want so young have to rush back down.

Very disappointing experience... and very expensive. The windows from which to look at the view were dirty and outside full of spiders ..

Poor experience. Okay views but not worth the time. Just go to Willis Tower instead. 45 minutes to get in, 30 minutes to get into Tilt, and 20 minutes just to get in the elevator to leave. Tilt is a complete waste of time and money. You can see the same thing by just leaning over the glass in the regular observatory area. Everything is managed very poorly and is disorganized. I gave feedback via email and they couldn’t care less. Avoid the Hancock tower.

Cool set up and design through out. Lots of awesome Chicago facts. Sunset was insane. We enjoyed it and would definitely go again.

They should offer a refund or an option to come back jn different day in case the weather was bad. It was all cloudy and we could not see anything. Waited for 2 hours but nothing.

We visited at 3 pm, it was nice to see from the top all the skyscrapers and the room with 3D floor if you buy the ticket there you spend 5 dollars more, each. Nothing at the entrance, directly to the top.

What view we could see was amazing. I felt it was too crowded up there and very little area to actually relax and enjoy the sip and view. It was chaotic and super loud. The bar area was filled with children and families. No place to sit and relax. We paid $100 for two people to see very little and have a cocktail that was miniscule and well-drink level. We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and came from a great dinner. The entire experience was a little disappointing actually. The bar tenders were miserable too.

The overall experience was nice. The staff was friendly. But this is an observation deck. You go for the view. When the windows are covered in dirt, spiders and spider webs, and dead bugs it really kills the vibe... and affects any photos you try and take. That was a huge bummer.

The view is amazing. You can see the entire city and it’s specially nice around sunset time. The tilt option is also nice if you do not get scared easily

It's always a thrill to sip a drink and look at the view from the 96th floor of the skyscraper, especially when the city lights start to come on.

This should have been a couples adventure on July 4th, but my better half chickened out (afraid of elevators), so it was just me. I did not have a reservation, but as it was a weekday, it wasn't overly crowded down below. I was able to walk through the wall murals and info without stopping unless I wanted to take a photo or spend more time. Elevator took me and a few others straight up to the top.
I do think it is overpriced. I just did the general admission which was a steep $30. I didn't bother with Tilt nor was I going to drink up there solo in the middle of the day. I just wanted to see the view from up there. I read earlier reviews that the admission is comparable to other top of a very tall building view. Maybe it is, maybe its not, but its still not worth $30.
At the top things got crowded. It was hard to get a photo or video without people in front of you at times. When I finally did - it was a great view on all sides. I got lucky it was a few days after the smoke cleared out from the Canadian fires and the rain was gone from the 2nd and 3rd July. Some of the interactive kiosks were not turned on...or they were broken.
The smaller gift shop upstairs was nice with good employees. I killed time in it shopping while I waited for the line to take the elevator get smaller. Bought a couple more items down below in the main giftshop before meeting up with my better half outside.
Would I do it again. Naw - just not worth the hefty price tag imho. I may have tried the Skydeck instead in the Sears tower except the 360 was a block and a half from my hotel, so it won out. They both cost around the same. Honestly, the only way the price will become reasonable is if people stop paying the $30. I'm guilty of it, but I was expecting something more.

Was a great experience to see all angles of Chicago. Once you’re up there, there is no time limit so you can relax, enjoy a drink, and just take in the views. We decided to try the Tilt and it was around $12 a person. The anticipation was more daunting than the experience. We heard a few people scream while we were waiting in line, but the experience was pretty average. It doesn’t tilt very far and the view below is just off the top of another building. No regrets tho!

We bought the CityPass expecting THE TILT to be included. No. That’s another $39. Jeez. They were sold out! We didn’t have an opportunity to do it; that was the entire reason we went up there. That being said the views are spectacular. The line to get out was thirty minutes long. We spent more time getting out than we spent seeing the views.

The view is spectacular. I chose 360 over Willis Tower for the Tilt, which was closed for repairs when we arrived. Had I known the Tilt was closed, I would’ve gone to the Willis Tower for the glass box experience instead. Such a bummer.

The most amazing views! The tilt experience was great and I thought, reasonably priced! Staff were nice and queues moved fast. Only thing that stopped it being a 5 was the cost of the photos. You expect to pay a bit more at these things but I felt $30 for one print was excessive.
Would definitely recommend when in Chicago!

Info on app is wrong tip is 15 extra and no souvenir glass with your drink drink run around 20 pic package available we enjoyed it

We visited early morning to avoid the queues and it worked! The views from each side of the viewing area were spectacular and gave us a great sense of where everything was in the city. You can also see out over Navy Pier. We did the TILT experience which was incredible. Defo recommend!

This was my first time visiting 360 Observatory. I highly recommend going there. I would do this again.Great experience! Thank you.

Great experience. We had chosen an entrance around 5:30 p.m. just before sunset. Not too crowded, pretty cool atmosphere and bar accessible with normal ticket. To do!

Pretty good views and no long queues. Felt $30 was a bit step but most things st the moment seem expensive! Disappointed that you get another $10 charge if you want to do the tilt.

I loved it! Absolutely stunning! The views are awesome! Bring your camera! We had a great time! Very peaceful as well!

My wife and I visited 360 observation deck and had a great time, brilliant views of the city and had a drink after the tilt experience to calm our nerves 😁 . Good price for the trip definitely recommend it.

We didn’t want to book in advance because we wanted to show up and see if there was a wait, and we were hoping to pay in cash because we had US currency to use up.
It ended up being FORTY dollars each for just the basic ticket, which is apparently only $30 in advance. I expected it to be a couple dollars more, but not $10 per person to process a sale. This is completely insane. It was also deceptive because I couldn’t find the drop-in admission price disclosed anywhere online.
To make matters worse they don’t accept payment in cash. If you’re taking advantage of people like this, you should let them pay in cash if they want to.
The views at the top were excellent, but the experience was ruined by their shady business practices.

Great views but old building and elevators. You can see and smell that in part. Especially nice is looking north, where a lot of coastline can be seen.
We booked without cloud cash and then consumed something, because if you have the chance to have a drink here with such a view, you should not miss it, unless it is proppe full.
I recommend going in the morning, but not without booking in advance! Our 10 o'clock ticket, because there was not so much going on, we were even allowed to use it at half past ten, which was great!

Easy entrance, nice staff and most important: stunning views over Chicago and Lake Michigan. You can walk around and have a view from all sides. There is a restaurant for a coffee or a beer. Enough space to walk around, even when there are a larger number of people

Beautiful views. The line for the tilt was too long so we didn't get to do it. The city is absolutely stunning! Elevator ride was quick. The mall next the tower is also nice.

Worth the $. You're way up there and I was expecting something like the Empire State Building but all views inside. Went early in the morn, not a lot of people so try to go then. Regular elevator ride up but cool 5 minute video before you get on. You'll probably spend 1 hour-ish up there. Cool bar/snack place to grab a $5 water is you're super thirsty. Would go again!

We loved seeing the city from above, it was amazing! Even coming to the city multiple times, seeing it from so high made it even more incredible!

We did the admission plus Tilt. Tilt was an extra $9 per ticket and I am not sure it’s worth it. It was cool and we can say we did it but where it’s located you are just looking down onto some other buildings and nothing that’s special. It’s probably a 15 degree tilt and there are bars to hold onto which I admit I didn’t lean on the glass so you do feel that you are up 94 floors. I probably enjoyed the room with the screens open air more than tilt. Now walking around that floor looking out the glass of Chicago downtown, the suburbs, navy pier and Lake Michigan was so worth it and absolutely beautiful. You can see as far as the eye can see. Lake Michigan is impressive because it’s fresh water for miles until it and the horizon become one. It needs to be experienced just once since most can not afford to stay in a top floor apartment.

The views of the city and lake are breathtaking, especially at sunset. The Sip and View Ticket made it even better, enjoying a drink while soaking in the sights. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff is friendly. It’s a great way to experience Chicago from above. Highly recommend!

We had the city pass so got expedited entry which saved a lot of time. We booked our slot in advance but got in a little earlier. We spent about half hour up there but wasn’t rushed and could spend as long as we wanted. The views were great and we are glad we went.

360 attraction is overrated. The view from up there is not. I am terrified of heights and had zero trouble with this attraction.

The 360 Chicago Observation is another must stop in Chicago.
The view up there from Chicago is magnificent!
A very good place to contemplate the city, taking a coffee, a beer or even a drink.

Beautiful view. A little pricey but it's the cost of a tourist attraction in a major city. Half of our party did Tilt and they said it was not as exciting as they'd hoped because it didn't tilt very far. I was too chicken to even attempt it!

I have been to the top of the W-I-L-L-I-S tower. pronounced SEARS, but I have never been to the observation deck at the Hancock Building...known here as 360 Chicago.
So, in Chicago for my birthday, August 25, 2025, this was on my list. I don't recommend buying the package deals, the tilt, drink, or their expensive photos. Just get the general admission, it gets you to the top fast and you have as much time as you want, take your own photos of the experience.
I digress, starting with approaching the building. It is difficult to know where to enter. Later found a small sign to enter at the sub level. From there, finding where to buy your ticket is not straightforward. After buying your ticket, the signage is lacking and you really don't know which way to go as it makes you follow a maze of turns through hallways. Then annoying bright dot lights all over. Then you have to stand and get your photo taken twice and get blinded by the bright flash. Finally, you get to be on the elevator. At the top, there is a full bar (if you want to get drunk 94 stories up. The views are great... as they say 360 degrees, N, E, W, S. It is a fun experience.

Excellent view well worth the trip and nice bar to relax in at the top. I don't recommend spending the extra for 'tilt'. You have to queue. It tilts slightly. You can see into a backstreet below and they offer you an expensive photo.

Went over there to celebrate my birthday and had a wonderful time with the family! The views are amazing! Wished we wouldve gone at night for an even more magical view of the city. While the Tilt ride was short, it was still worth it!

Very nice, too. With City Pass, we were in fast. Great view. We had booked time Slot. Such a beautiful city therefore also worthwhile here

My wife took a trip up here after visiting the small church opposite for a concert. I went out reading at the time. She explained that there is lift that takes you to the top and her ears popped near the top. She took some pictures of the great views and explained that Lake Michigan is enormous. At the top there was somewhere to eat and for those wanting an extra thrill, there is a glass attraction where you hold onto a bar which then leans out over the city. She didn't pay for it though. She enjoyed the experience and can say she has been to one of the highest viewpoints in America

Overall it was a great experience, and the views were amazing. We got lucky that it wasn't so busy, even though we got there around 10:30 am. We didn't do the Tilt ride, but I don't think I missed much. Now, there was a negative experience with buying, or at least the attempt to buy gifts, in which we ended up returning the items. The cashier failed to mention that we had to buy a bag in order to carry our purchase. But it was her way of she went about it. Instead of saying from the get go that they didn't have free bags for whatever people purchased, she just said oh we have bags for $5. We said no thank you, and then after we paid, she just slid the merchandise over to us, and it wasn't until we asked if they had bags, is when she said oh no we don't, you have to buy the bag. We promptly returned the items. Someone should teach her how to let customers know at the beginning that they don't have free bags. Which to begin with is something that I don't understand, how a place like this can't even afford plastics bags for customers.

Bad service.
I bought tickets for 18.30
We arrived at 18:00 and asked if we could anticipate. They said yes and let us in . When we got up there, we were in the queue and the manager came to take us out of the queue, saying that we could not stay here; for our time was different. We would have to wait until 7.45 . An hour and 45 minutes later. And called security to get us out.
I said we only bought to go to the Tilt
He said we had to get out. We then demanded the money back. He said he would only return the tilt money.
I explained that I only bought for the tilt
So he started calling security to get us out .
A lack of respect.
Don't come to that observatory.
Personal care.
Disrespectful Processing

Very nice view over Chicago. You can spend some time here and admire the beautiful city.

Great experience. Fantastic views from all sides. And the tilt is cool. Fun and family friendly. If you come in the evening you can get daylight photos and night time photos.

My wife took two of my teenage sons up to this observation deck. My oldest is a keen photographer and wanted to catch the sunset and also see the city in day and night. It did everything it said on the tin.

Staff completely disengaged with service.
Lady at front only printed 2 tickets when we were clearly family of 2 adults 2 children.
When it came to entering further, the male staff made us go back to get 2 more tickets. No apology for their error, and arrogant towards us.
Not worth the cost of TILT. It is over in a minute. They will make you buy more things you don’t need with minimal hospitality.

Viewpoint from the 95th floor of the building, with views of the city in its entirety, 360 degrees. Additional I recommend the experience of the TILT , glass with a 45 degree inclination towards the city floor, not suitable for those with vertigo.
They should improve the cleaning of the glass of the plant from where the city is seen since everyone wants to take pictures and the glass was pretty dirty.

We went at sunset. The views were nice but it was overcrowded. I purchased the Sip and View ticket which was not worth the extra money for a watered down drink.

What a great experience! The 360 view of the city is wonderful: Chicago's skyscrapers, the Seaview, the Navy Pier view, the green city view, what a wonderful, breathtaking panoramic view. I loved it! Did not try the TILT, too scary for me!

The lines were long and the ride did not impress me. Of course, it seems like something you have to do once you are up there.

This observation deck is located on the 94th floor of Eight Seventy-Five North Michigan Avenue (building), which can be seen on the north side of the Magnificent Mile.
This observation deck is lined up with the Sky Deck of Willis Tower near Union Station, but because this one is closer to Lake Michigan, you can see Lake Michigan in addition to the Chicago city skyline.
The entrance to the observation deck is along Michigan Avenue, and you go down from the plaza in front of the building to the basement and enter by the side of the Starbucks.
The view is good, but there are a lot of spiders flying out the window (they live at such a height. It's like Spider-Man only for spiders.) It's disgusting.

More like 4.5, our view was hampered by the wildfire smoke. Otherwise great experience. Do til while your yo there # good stuff

A real waste of money and time. We got tickets for 4pm, got there at 3:45pm and had to wait in line until 5:20 to get to the top. Very unorganized and honestly not impressive at all.

Excellent view, very hospitable staff …. It’s a must do in Chicago. Enjoyed the view with our mocktails. Perfect place to chill out .

It has been a tradition for us to take visitors new to Chicago to the Signature Room for the ambiance and lunch or dinner. It had been the highlight of their experience. This was not. Today I took my 9 year old granddaughter. She and I were both unimpressed and disappointed. I missed having the food and service match the view. Without it, the experience is not worth the time or the price.

Actually, it was a little disappointing.
It's overrated.
Good views but you really have the same from other buildings without paying such a high price.
I wouldn't repeat.

Excellent restaurant at the Hancock Center. Had a great snack and cocktails.
The views are incredible.

We wanted to have an observation deck experience and ended up closer to Hancock than the other options. I always appreciated the open air experience that is offered at this observation deck. We also did the Tilt experience. I could have done without that. It is a 30-second experience where you are tilted out over the street and can look down, seeing how far up you are. I did enjoy the bar and being able to have a drink while sitting and looking out. I also appreciated that we enjoyed this experience while the location was not crowded.
Overall, it is a great observation experience 94 floors up with some awesome views of the lake, navy pier, and the north side of town.

Great views! Very well set!!
The entrance is quiet and the place far exceeds similar places in NYC.
It is lower than Willis Tower; but with better views

Not for the fear of heights but fantastic views and if you dare 360, you get an extra experience. A little expensive maybe but vacation is vacation.

It can be found in a section of the city referred to as the “Magnificent Mile,” sometimes called the “Mag Mile” as well. it was the second-tallest building in the world upon completion in the year 1969.
it is home to some of the fastest elevators in the United States and allows visitors to reach the 95th floor from the ground level in just 38 seconds!
One of Chicago's most notable attractions is its skyline, and one of the best places to experience it is at the 360 CHICAGO Observation Deck. “360 Chicago Observation Deck.” It’s located on the 94th floor and at a height of 1,030 feet. it offers some of the most amazing views over the city of Chicago and Lake Michigan, allowing visitors to see a distance of over 80 miles (130 kilometers) and into 4 states in all directions!
Formerly known as the John Hancock Observatory, 360 CHICAGO towers 1,000 feet over The Magnificent Mile from its location on the 94th floor of the John Hancock Center (or 875 North Michigan Avenue as it is more formally known) - John Hancock
for an adrenaline rush, test out 360 CHICAGO's TILT. which gives visitors a unique view from more than 1,000 feet above the Magnificent Mile as they are tipped outward at an angle to look straight down from the glass enclosure.
Grab a cup of coffee, a glass of wine, or a snack at the Sky Cloud Cafe and bar, or look for souvenirs in the gift shop.
Facts:
The project was financed by John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company which was one of the initial tenants of the building as well.
As the company financed the project, it also acquired the naming rights but it expired in 2013, but hey we still call it by old name. Its official name is ' 875 North Michigan Avenue. The tower is occupied by some of the biggest companies like Best Buy, Starbucks, and Etihad Airways.

It was absolutely terrible.we waited 2 hours in line. The AC was not working and it was overall a terrible experience.

Beautiful view of Lake Michigan among others, we waited for the sunset but with a crazy world and a slightly cloudy sky it was in the end not an exceptional experience.
The prices charged by the bar are indecent.

The tilt makes no sense. I fail to understand why it's worth a paid experience.
The staff is great, the views are brilliant too. However the deck just doesn't have anything unique to elevate the experience

It is a great attraction but be prepared to wait about 2 hours in line and half of that time in hot black stuffy basement. Stock up on water....
Staff look like they are fed up with the visitors so no real help..... Fast pass provides about 30 min advantage only.

The view is great, as you might expect. But the "adult sip and see" tickets are absolutely not worth it. Cheap drinks served in a plastic glass, and no seats in an overheated lounged filled with kids. And the wait to get up and down the elevators was like waiting for a ride at Disney. It just wasn't at all like it was advertised. Next time I would just go to the 96th floor Signature lounge to have a cocktail and admire the views. We learned of this from some other travelers we met there. Travel and learn.

I visited this on a nice sunny day and saw some stunning views of the city and lake.
The views from all angles were stunning with the ability to sit and relax also.
The facts about Chicago within the waiting area were great to read and I really enjoyed this experience.
Quick and easy to book online and easy to access.
Definitely worth the visit.

I had the most magical proposal a girl could ever dream of. Mackenzie and her team coordinated everything flawlessly and made the entire experience unforgettable. Thank you once again!

We went on a day with low visibility and when we got there we were bluntly informed that we had no other option but to change day or to use the ticket. Now, I didn’t have another day to use the ticket bc I was only in Chicago for a day so we went up and honestly, we should’ve just went home. There was NO visibility. To try and salvage the experience, we went to the bar and realised you may as well remortgage your home with some of those prices. $22 for a cocktail out of a pre-made bottle, $7 for a small can of red bull. Honestly, the prices were insanity. And that’s before tax. The customer service was mid at best.

We went at 10:30 AM. There were almost no lines and the staff was very friendly and laid back. The Tilt operators worked with us to make sure that we were comfortable. Views were amazing! The Bar had great drink options. We bought one of the digital photo packages. The photographer took extra photos with great backgrounds views! Overall a great experience!

Went here with a friend for their "Sky Yoga" experience. It was SO much fun to be allowed in before everyone else. The teacher was very sweet and the yogaflow was very well put together. I managed to build up a little sweat, which was nice. Complimentary drink after the class was either mimosa, coffee or mocktails. I reallt liked that they had a non-alcoholic option.

Went at night. Spectacular views. Mesmerizing. Favorite part of my trip to Chicago. Didn't do cloud bar or tilt. Spent 1.5 hours. Staff was nice.

The place itself is beautiful, but unfortunately, the management experience left much to be desired. The manager's customer service skills were disappointing, and they seemed unwilling to listen to visitors' concerns. Their attitude made the experience less enjoyable than it should have been.
A helpful tip for future visitors: If you're mainly interested in the tilt attraction, I recommend purchasing tickets in person. The online booking system can be confusing and the management's handling of it tends to create unnecessary complications.
Save yourself the headache - avoid dealing with their online system. The management's incompetence knows no bounds. While the venue has great potential, the current management approach needs significant improvement to match the quality of the attraction itself.

Crowded, with not-too-clean windows and with additional charges for almost everything it offers.
You have to reserve your place ahead of time. The staff is kind. The price is high, though it is included in the City Pass.
I think it’s nice overall but not otherworldly.
I did like the line at the beginning though, because it had sort of a small museum to make the wait more pleasant and informative.

Compared to the Willis/Sears Tower, the Hancock has two advantages. Firstly, I think the view is a bit nicer, you can see a lot of the beach and the coast, which creates a nice contrast to the city. Secondly, there is a bar here that invites you to linger! We didn't book the TILT, it's a bit of a thrill, but you're limited to holding on, so you can't even take photos yourself. But I would recommend enjoying both views if possible, for example with the CityPass. It worked out wonderfully.

The view is great, but the price is high. $40 for adults. The day we were there it was only 10 minutes to wait from when we bought the ticket until we were up. There is a big minus to the experience that the windows are dirty and there is nowhere you get to take nice photos.

The views were nice. Very good spot for sunset. It is extra to purchase tickets to the TILT. You are not allowed to take pictures or video of the TILT for "safety reasons." Really, they just want to be able to charge 30+ dollars for a picture they took. Someone was recording as I was standing there watching. So I also went to take a video, and the women working came over and told me it wasn't allowed. Yet she let the person standing right next to her take a video? Didn't make sense to me. We did skydeck also, I would say that's better because you can take your own videos and pictures when you walk out on the ledge. But if you're not going for the tilt, the view from the top is nice.

The reality is that it is similar in the subject of sky deck, just a little more austere... I like the Sky better, the father is the view of the lake.
You can live day and night like we did and so they become different experiences and compensate.

The staff were not very friendly. They seemed to just hold a post for their position and pass you along to the next section.
The tilt experience was fun and we were glad we tried it. But I feel had the staff been more excited/friendlier, it would have made us have more fun too.
The drink that came with our tickets , along with the bar staff was disappointing. You are limited to your drink choice and seem to be less desirable as a customer because of it.
I would say try it for the view, but buy your own drink and make it fun without expecting them to make it fun for you

rating 5
It was the second experience in this place and there is no error, service within the schedule, all staff were kind and attentive, clean and organized place.

While we were both very excited, this experience was a mixed bag. When we first arrived, we walk in and followed the arrow to an end wall, with nowhere to go, noone who worked there around and with a large group of people all wondering if we were in the right place for about 10 minutes until a movie on the wall started. Then we took the elevator up. The first "wow" was that it was absolutely packed everywhere with too many people. We tried walking around the entire perimeter several times, and found limited visibility over the thick crowd at every window. Why make a reservation with a time if they allow unlimited amounts of people up there?? We found that each person by the window would take up to 10 minutes to take pictures ( understandable) but it was 5 people thick to all the windows. Then when you finally get to the window, they have bright flood lights, and bright blue lights all along all the windows, so there was a mirror glare and reflection of us and all the other people in the pictures. Who designed this?! Yes the views are beautiful, but the cattle call of unlimited people, limited visibility, and the ridiculous mirror glare for photos made us just want to leave our pricy elevator ride, which appears to be the whole point, sell tickets, turn over. We were happier and most of the free sky bars in the city.

Top sightseeing tour. Must have in Chicago!! Great view! Make sure you use the tilting windows. It's absolutely cool!

Good hotel to stay . Very neat room and good bath room . Near to all places to visit . Good view ! Parking and extra costs are something to look before you look

View was cool but nothing special. Tilt wad boring. You hold.on to a railing, so there isn't any adrenaline rush. Better ways to spend your time.

In large American cities, climbing to the top of skyscrapers is common, and Chicago is no exception. From here the panorama extends from the city center to the lake, proving to be quite beautiful.
The "Tilt" experience for which another 9 dollars must be paid, in my opinion is not at all unmissable. As far as I'm concerned, I feel more dizzy when looking out from a terrace than leaning on this glass that tilts about 45 degrees towards the void.
In summary I definitely recommend going up to the observatory, while I would recommend the tilt with reservations.

Great chance to get a 360 view of Chicago! We did this first thing upon arrival and so we had a good overview of how the city was laid out and could even see some of the places we were planning to visit. They have a short information video when you first got in, and along the way there is a lot of information about the Chicago neighborhoods on the wall. The elevator is a super quick ride to the top. You can stay as long as you like - sit at relax with drinks and snacks. I'm sure it is spectacular at nigh with all the lights, but we went during the day and it was beautiful. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing views but overpriced for what it offers. The tilt last about 15 seconds. It’s just an observation floor to see the skyline of Chicago.

We visited on a Saturday midday and really enjoyed the views. There were many others there, but it did not feel crowded. There was ample space to walk around and enjoy the scenery. I definitely think this is an overpriced attraction - although the view is stellar. However, I 100% regret paying the extra fee for The Tilt, it was not worth the price. I also think it is absurd to charge $35 for one picture afterwards (or more for all the pictures).
We visited the Cloud Bar and I had a delicious drink (the Wild and Personable). While $23 seems expensive, the whole experience was very memorable.

The line took a little while but the experience was great! Super fun and a great view of the city. You can also look around the observation deck in all directions.

Loved it! I rate it 5 out of 5!! First time in Chicago, my husband and I both loved it very much! We will be back soon for sure 🩷

I know that this might sell out but if you are able to buy last minute you might want to wait to buy tickets since they are non refundable. I bought tickets and then when we went, we were told due to the weather, there was 0% visibility. They showed us a picture and it was just grey, you could see nothing. They said to come back another day. However, we could not come back another day as we only had 1 that day and were leaving the next day. We live in MN so it wasn't like we could just come back easily. We went later on in the day and the visibility did improve but unless you are doing the TILT ticket, it is just an okay view. It is not an actual 360 view. Half of the Tower is a bar which they wont let you go in and the other half is TILT tickes so really you get a corner of the top of the building. I would recommend Skydeck over this unless you are doing TILT. I cannot comment on TILT since we did not do that as the line was incredibly long. This is an add on cost and does not come included with admission. For a family of 5, regular tickets was $165 and we were up there for 5 minutes so too pricey and would never do again.

The tour had history, kind of tiny museum. And the view was from 94th floor. But parking was tuff and expensive!! Not bad with kids!!

We're a family of 4 with 2 teenage kids and we all really enjoyed this experience! Looking out over Chicago is amazing alone then if you add the Tilt thrill ride, it just adds to the experience!

Worst and expensive experience ever. Even when having the benefit of the City Pass to take the express line, they make you wait in line because they combine both normal and express line to take the elevator.
There are not enough elevators for the quantity of people they admit so you will wait for a long time to go up. For us (in express line) it was a 30 minutes wait.
One you are up the deck is very crowded with people from other reserved times and despite reservations, the place continues to receive people even when they are sold out.
The staff lack of customer service and problems solving.
But that is not the worst thing, after spending there less than 30 minutes, we took more than 45 minutes to make a line to go downs and exit from the place.
After making a 45 minutes line that was hell, the staff let a couple of girls that where not making a line to take the elevator just because they liked them and when we pointed out that, they just said it was not under their control, even when they are restricting the entrance to the elevator and controlling the line.
A 20 minutes poor experience does not worth the price you have to pay and the time to go out of that place.
NY observation decks do it much better regarding order, control, capacity and service.

Tickets were an issue. The sunset was spectacular! The view was awesome. Worth doing once. The souvenirs were overpriced. The photo is fun but not worth the price

The Views are Fantastic and the tilt experience was Good.
However the upgraded ticket to Sip and View is in my view a Con
You can only have a drink from a very small selected Menu and it was not clear that you can not select from the main menu.
The Drinks from this select menu come in A Cheap Plastic Cup
Drinks from main Menu come from a Nice Glass
I ordered 2 Cocktails and then was told they were not part of of the sip and view deal I therefore told them I thought it was a Con and to keep the Drinks and 10 minutes later was ordering from there so called sip and view Menu When They were serving another Customer they gave them one of the Cocktails they had made for me about 10 mins ago
I would have preferred to pay for just the tilt experience and then paid for a decent Cocktail After.

The people were nice. I enjoyed visitiving there. Good service. I wish they have more things to visit and see. Overall good place. It was little cloudy

Great view of the city. You go up and take pictures and come down to the gift shop. That’s it. No talking, not much historical stuff. If you are not fuzz about paying extra to do the Tilt thrill ride, then skip this and go to the Skydeck (Sears/Willis Tower) and you have a better experience.

Awesome activity to do while in Chicago! Although not for the faint hearted. I went with a fam trip Brand USA and although I am petrified of heights I still went up and they really look after you. I did not have a go on the tilt but the rest of the group did and they loved it. Highly recommend this when in ORD

Well worth going up at sunset just to see the sun setting over this spectacular city. Not worth paying extra for the Tilt as waiting in the queue takes from time to enjoy the view. Not as tall as Sears and closer to the lake which means more limited view but worth it

My advice is to check the weather. Maybe don't buy I'm advance. The place itself was fine. Just mother nature. We still took great pictures using the reflective ceiling

It’s not worth the $35. Waste of money. So boring. Charge extra for leaning activity. Rip off. You ride 45 seconds to go look out the window. Yes the view is amazing but super boring.

Nice overall experience, the views as you can imagine ate good, the drinks are ok.
I purchased the city pass to be able to skip the line, but actually nobody asked me for my pass, so I had to wait on the line for 20 minutes

Having visited the Empire State Building and World One Tower the 360 Tower is uninspiring. The entrance and lower floor smell of dirty cooking oil which is presumably from nearby restaurant. The corridors with information about tower and local area are bland and boring. The deck itself just isn’t very clean. Good views of the city but not worth the price, time or effort.

Great opportunity to view the city below and Lake Michigan. Lucky to visit on a sunny day. Shame the cafe has signage on the windows. Glad I didn't partake in a ridiculously expensive addition: the bar and cafe. Didn't fancy being tilted forwards. Silly to call it a ride!!

Horrible. Had a ticket for 3:30. Got up there at 3:37 to be pushed out in 7 minutes because they were closing for a private event. Nobody told us when we scanned our ticket downstairs, customer service didn’t offer us any refund or another ticket for another day, she was rude and condescending to everyone and didn’t give a damn of peoples experiences. Would never waste my money on this establishment again. Hire more competent people.

The views were amazing. We went on a weekday in the middle of the day. No linea at all. Plenty of space to move around and take pictures. Don't waste your money on the tilt thrill. Not that great.
Gift shops on the ground floor as well as up top. Food and drinks available to purchase.

This was worth doing but the cost was pretty high. The prices vary during the day due to time and patronage. They do do a seniors discount. The views were great. Unfortunately didn't have the nerve at 74 to do the Tilt. It helped to put the map into some form of understanding

It was all wonderful! Excellent location
The privileged place, close to everything and is in Lake Michigan. We really liked the kitchen that provided everything you need to make our macarrão with shrimp and red sauce and taste a beautiful wine!
We felt at home with our three teenage boys.

We had combined 360 view and tilt. Well, it's mostly to take your picture and sell them to you. Beautiful view but the tilt is not terrible, 3 minutes a little leaning, nothing sensational: glass with the fat of the nose of the previous Beurk!!!

Horrible customers service. we bought ticket online and we could not go because viator did not put correct description. so we thought initially that buying tickets for skydeck. called right away they said that we do not exchange. I do not recommend it. in order to reschedule for other day u have to pay $8. do not go there . too many people . they tell tilt u can buy upstairs turns out tilt is sold for at her 3 hours. This is not how treat customer. I’m very disappointed.

I am a 62 year old long time traveler who is in the midst of trying to see a baseball game at every stadium with my wife after having done so with my daughter. Whenever we go to a game we are always able to experience one or two other sites in that city, so we decided to try the 360 Chicago Observation Deck when we went to see the White Sox play. I can't say enough about how truly awful this experience was for my wife and I.
The cost was approximately $100 for the two of us, which is not budget breaking for two former professionals but I always wonder what families do when they want to take everybody to an event. I always say that I will gladly pay for a good experience but I don't like being cheated and this was one giant cheat.
You go up in an elevator to an observation deck that is inside and very small compared with many skyscrapers I have visited. There really wasn't much to do up there except do the 360 part of the experience, something that cost us more than it would have cost to just venture up. Neither experience was worth the cost, not even close.
They put you and a group of approximately 8 against a glass window with metal bars that you hold on to. You can't use your cell phone as they previously made you pose for pictures that they would then superimpose into a background representing what you see. What do you see? Pretty much what you would see if you went to the top of a better skyscraper and simply looked down. The whole experience takes a matter of seconds and you are left wondering what you paid $100 for. They then send you to a series of machines that display the superimposed photos for a ton of money. It's simply not worth it, nothing in this experience is worth the cost.
My advice to anyone who wants to experience this is DON'T! It's not worth it even if you are a millionaire who burns his money in a fireplace for heat in the winter. I felt duped and cheated and my wife and I agree that 360 Chicago gets you once and that's it but if they get enough people they will make a ton of dough on this ridiculous experience.

Basically, it's very cloudy. We only saw clouds and am very disappointed because we r leaving back home tomorrow. We did get it rescheduled for today and waited a couple of hours, but nothing.

Prebooked the sip, tilt and view tickets for 6pm. 7pm comes along and we’re still queuing as it’s packed with people and the place is so hot. Felt dizzy queuing because they don’t allow drinks about 5 mins past the front door and it was so hot with nowhere to sit. We got to do the tilt at 7:30pm, went to view our photos but saw the price of them from the people in front of us and were so shocked. The bar was so so busy we had to just leave in the end without getting anything our tickets promised apart from the tilt. Feel like I’ve wasted so much money as it’s not cheap either. They should stop letting so many people book at once especially since they have allocated time slots. Missed out on everything our ticket promised apart from the tilt due to this.

Fantastic views of coast and lake Michigan. Cloud bar had specialty cocktails and wine and beer. Lots of room to roam and shop and linger.

Very nice experience discovering Chicago from the sky.
We had the chance to enjoy the airshow which was held above the beaches below and at eye level.
A real treat accompanied by a small glass of wine.
To do

Bought the Tilt, Sip and View ticket. Personally found the whole experience much better than Willis Tower. Didn't feel forced just to purchase photos and thought the actual views were better. It also wasn't as busy (went at 11.30am on a Tuesday)
The Tilt was a brilliant idea, lasting about 1 minute and again, better than 'the Ledge' at Willis.
Enjoyed the cocktail from the Cloudbar.

Time your visit with sunset and you won't be disappointed. Allow time to have a cocktail in the Cloudbar and visit all the views of the city before taking a seat on the bleachers facing the sunset. A spectacular evening, with beautiful views!

Extremely overpriced
Get to the top cocktail 22$ before tip take out the ice cube you get a sip :)
The day we arrived we got told sorry we have a private party so you need to re schedule.

If you visit Chicago, you should not miss the 360 Chicago Observation Deck!
The views from the 94th Floor are amazing.
Prices vary per day - check their website to determine the cheapest time.

Once you make it to the 94th floor it's great, however, THE LINE is disgustingly long and there wasn't enough ac. I think the historical facts on the walls were meant to distract you from amount of time that your standing in line but it didn't. I think if you purchased your tickets through city pass you could skip the line but we purchased ours through go city.

Poor viewing experience due to weather. Should have gave a raincheck day. It was like you were in a cloud and couldn't see anything. I bought my tickets in advance of weather reports so was not expecting it to rain.

We loved watching the sun set over the city. Although the drinks were a little pricy, we had two each. The water that was available for all was a perfect treat!

Definitely among the things to do while visiting Chicago. Tickets purchased online (beware that tickets for times to see the sunset end soon!)
We went up at 4:00. The view is wonderful!
After the experience of TILT, and being on this window leaning towards the void from the 94th floor, is a bit impressive.
In the ticket we bought there was also a drink at the bar.
We sipped it waiting for the sun to set.

Really nice views, made a good video of it, food and drinks available, elevator is fast and the tilt is amazing. Also there nice clean restrooms.

We got this attraction as part of a city pass which is a great way to get it at a better cost. We when early morning so there was not lines to get in. Staff was great and respectful. In comparison to the Willis Tower this one gives you a better view of the east side of the lake. They recently added a restaurant so not sure if that will take away part of the view.

This was a very cool experience. My ticket was for a Thursday at 1 pm. There was no line and I walked right up to the front desk. The worker informed me that today was not a good day to see the attraction because it was clouded and overcast. He also showed me a picture, which you were unable to see anything out of the windows. He went on to say that tomorrow would be a better day because it would be sunny and for no extra cost he printed me out a new ticket for the next day. I showed up the next day when the attraction opened and was immediately let upstairs to see a 360 degree view of Chicago from above. My ticket also included a drink. For an extra $10 I was able to dod the tilt.

Cool to look out on the city. You need a clear day to make the most of it. We were able to see pretty far the day we visited and get a Birds Eye view of all the places we had been walking, etc.

Very exciting and thrilling. If scared of heights just close your eyes and lean up against the glass to be relieved. I would recommend visiting the cloud bar as its drinks were pretty and good

It's worth it for the few seconds of oh wow when you're brain processes the height you are from the moving cars beneath & other skyscrapers .....not cheap but $30 isn't too bad when a kit kat is $3

Amazing views over the lake, on a sunny morning it’s stunning. Went first thing in the morning so not too busy

Loved the view from the top. Amazing experience. I didn’t realize that you can look all the way around. 360 duh. Brilliant.

All about the experience and worth it to see Chicago from that view. I highly recommend to everyone. Accessible for everyone

Was a better place to view dirty windows covered in cobwebs with tons of spiders (on the outside of the windows, amazong they are up on t he 94th floor). Looked like they hadn't cleaned the windows in a 4 years. Would recommend going to a different observation deck. Would never go back, was horrible.

No visibility and when attempted to get date changed within our travel days could not get refund or change of date as there is no customer service readily available to speak with. You have to wait more than a week for response. Ended up buying tickets at the location for another date, losing $90. That bites! Never buying from trip advisor again, only 1st party.

Great view, worth looking at. People were very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful weather was playing along.

Do this at night time for fantastic views of the city. Wouldn't waste my money on the tilt or the drinks option in my opinion.

Awesome views and really cool observation area, sets you up brilliantly to tour the City !! It’s amazing to see Lake Michigan looking like the sea as well 🇺🇸🇺🇸

I purchased a tour time that would allow us to enjoy the beautiful sunset with a yummy cocktail in hand! Be prepared to wait for access to the windows as everyone wants a selfie. People will literally camp out against the glass for over an hour so they can watch the sunset. Be prepared!

It was a beautiful view but it was not worth the wait. If you don’t mind staying in the line for 2 hours going up and one hour getting down, then you will be alright.

Complete waste of money, 3 attempts where we had to reschedule due to zero visibility (absolutely understand that isn’t their fault!) however no refund if you’re unable to do it due to weather - $200 completely wasted, and they don’t care at all..
Do not prebook, better to wait and see if there is any visibility otherwise they’ll happily take your money for absolutely nothing.
Dreadful experience

Arrived before sunset. Stayed after sunset. Viewed city, shore, pier, and lake before and after. Viewed sunset (sunset that night was NOT spectacular). Enjoyed drinks and nice seating. Reasonable seats for sunset. Don't buy THEIR photo. Take your own. We chose 360 Chicago over Sears/Willis Tower because seating at 360 facilitated a longer, more comfortable stay.

We arrived in Chicago from the UK and headed straight there, we had pre booked tickets for the afternoon on a Friday, we headed straight up with no queue at all. The tilt was fun, only lasted a couple of minutes but you wouldn’t need anymore.

Visited on the weekend of the air & water show. Was able to take in the sights of the city and the show too. Enjoyed our cocktails in the process. Lifts were limited so queues to descend were larger would be only comment.

Buy your tickets in advance online. You risk spots being unavailable if you show up to purchase tickets on arrival. Bring your credit/debit card. Cash is not accepted as a form of payment at 360 Chicago.

The views were stunning. We did this on our first day in the city and it was great for giving us an idea of where everything was from up on high! We did the TILT experience which felt very safe and such a fabulous activity!

Very fun and good view/. It’s worth your time and effort! They do have a bar as well. Take your family! You will have fun…..

Excellent views of Chicago City and Lake.and beautiful photo opportunities!!
And don't miss out on the bar drinks with a view 🙂

Great views! Could see for miles. Lake Michigan looks like an ocean! Tilt ride was disappointing though- only 30 degree tilt.

Fantastic views of the city. We got some great pics and videos. You get to see the massive size of the city and Lake Michigan. It was a little eerie to look out and not be able to distinguish where water and sky meet. The two seemed to blend into each other. You won't be disappointed!

This was a great package to do as it just added an extra touch to the evening. I would recommend arriving one hour before sunset so that you have time to absorb fuse from all angles as well as get a good spot as soon as sunset hits the swarms of people congregate towards the windows. I also did the tilt at nightfall which was beautiful to capture the City skyline at night- As well to add that as an extra. The cloud bar Gets very busy around six 7 pm however as soon as it’s completely dark, I noticed that the crowd started calm down and he was able to get a seat by the window for city views.

My boyfriend and I bought the package deal with everything included (observation, drinks, TILT). First the like to get up was long. Then the line to the bar was VERY long … like 40 people long. We were told that the line to get into TILT (that we already paid for) is an additional 45 min wait in a line. This is ridiculous. The whole time is spent waiting in lines. We didn’t get to do TILT and I’m asking my credit card for a refund because this is false advertising. Get a better system or don’t let this many people up. Super Disappointed.

Went to Willis tower, did architecture boat tour, millennium Park, Cindy's bar also went to Cubs baseball game highly recommend all

Went up the elevator pretty quickly, and the view was breathtaking. The view of Lake Michigan and the Navy Pier was amazing. It's definitely a must do in the city.

The views were high, as was the price of admission. It is not understandable that you have to pay an additional 10 dollars to lean a little.

First tip. if you buy the ticket before 2p, the prices are cheaper (ie. the prices they advertise is if you buy the ticket before 2p). Prices go up (online and in person) after 2pm.
The views are great and you really get to see the entire city. They did not seem to limit the amount of time we could stay once we got up to the top. There is a bar where you can buy snacks and drinks, and limited seating for you to enjoy the view. Tilt was so-so and just angles you out from the side of the building. Not sure it was worth it.

The Tilt is a waste of money in my opinion. Go up 360 for the view, have a cocktail, sit and enjoy. That is enough without spending extra money on the Tilt as the view up there is incredible! The Tilt itself is pretty underwhelming, no where near the thrill I was expecting and the view below from the Tilt is horrible old rooftops of the buildings below. Just buy the GA ticket or if you think you may fancy a cocktail at the top, buy the Sip & View ticket and you will save yourself $5 on your cocktail.

We went last week and I regret spending the money. This is a major tourist trap unless you want the tilt experience. You do get a great view of the city from the 94th floor; however, it was not worth $30 per person. Drinks are around $20 for a cocktail. Unless you are doing the tilt experience, I would go to the Willis Tower SkyDeck so you can get good views and take iconic pictures on the ledge.
I liked the labels on each side telling you what neighborhoods you would be seeing.
The windows are dirty with a ton of dead spiders as people mentioned but I'm not sure that can be helped very much. It does not take away from the view.

An awesome experience. I’m not a fan of heights but this was a must-see while in Chicago. This experience was a lot like the Willis Tower SkyView except there’s a “ride” that allows you to stand in an enclosed window and it tilts you 30 degrees over the edge of the building. Of course there are the obligatory pictures they take, and we bought, there’s a gift shop and the thing that makes it really special is the bar area on the observation level. So if you’re not interested in tilting, you can purchase the Sip and View ticket and lounge around, drink and enjoy the views. The prices range from about 35-50 depending on what you want to do. The lines weren’t as long as the SkyView at Willis Tower but I think I enjoyed the experience more because it wasn’t as crowded and there wasn’t the sense of urgency to get us in and get us out as the SkyView was. Overall it was a great experience, recommend it especially for a couple who might want to do something different than just sit in a regular bar and chat.

Amazing views! We pre booked tickets as was advised it would skip the line but to be honest there was no queue to book tickets anyway.
Enjoyed reading the facts on the wall as you queued for the elevators. The views are amazing! The tilt experience was ok but doesn’t last for long and in my opinion was not worthy extra money. We had a drink included too. I chose the wine and was given a large measure, do not expect the cocktails or wines to be in fancy cups. They are in a plastic cup, this did not bother us though. It was lovely to sit have a drink and soak in the lovely views of the city.

We went here as it had been recommended over Skydeck but we wouldn’t recommend it. We did the observation deck and Tilt package. Tilt is a complete waste of time and money and as for the observation deck, part of it was closed off, only one of the information screens seemed to be working and many of the windows were filthy making it really difficult to take photos!

5 out 5. It exceeded our expectations. The view was beautiful. It's overwhelming when you first get off the elevator, but worth it. Everyone was friendly, the drinks were great.

There wasn’t a line the morning of Tuesday, December 30 so we were able to walk right up to the desk and purchase tickets. I don’t recommend that you wait to do this in person but it worked for us. The young female employee greeted us and was friendly. Cash was not an option, just fyi. Be sure to watch the short video with details and trivia. The elevator was quick and I still can’t believe we traveled up 90 plus stories in 40 seconds. Amazing! It wasn’t super busy so we were able to spend plenty of time up against the windows and took a slew of photos. The Cloudbar area is popular. Pay extra for the Tilt experience and be prepared for using some arm strength to keep yourself supported. Awesome to be dipped toward the buildings and ground below with only glass protecting you. The views are spectacular so take your time and soak up the experience. Highly recommend this as a must do activity in Chicago.

We went to the 360 at 10:00 am which was perfect. No wait and could walk around to all the windows for amazing views of the city, shore line and Lake Michigan. It was a great way to start our trip. I highly recommend this tour.

The Skydeck was filled with awesome views with birds flying overhead and the sun shining. You could see businesses, such as restaurants you didn't realize were there.

The view itself is not to be missed . They have done a great job at making it very informative and fun for any age !!! Its a must see !!!

The views were amazing! Line to enter and leave was a bit long.
Would definitely recommend to friend and family to experience.
Get the fast path if you can to save time.

The windows had glare and they were dirty. Need to have anti reflective windows installed. SF Salesforce Tower is even much more better.

This was a good visit for the family. We paid for the bundle so we did the observation deck, the tilt, and the drink. It was a good experience but the lines for the tilt were very long. The kids were very impatient and I am not sure I would wait in line that long again.

The panoramic view of the city is very beautiful. The Tilt attraction supplement is friendly.
The staff is not more friendly and smiling than that... if not at all. At least the day we went there. Luckily we don’t go for that!!! But we don't need information because we're still waiting for them...

The experience was messy. Having set time slots really doesn't matter because it was too crowded with people definitely overstaying their time. My slot was at 330 and traffic had me showing up at 4 and it didn't matter, they just let anyone up. The drink included with the ticket was very messy and sticky; bartenders poured everything quick to keep up with crowded line. Clearly people overstaying their time slot when it came to sitting around the area to enjoy the view, spent most of my time staring at peoples back rather then enjoying my drink with the view. The view itself was worth looking at, especially since I picked an exact sunset time. Also the tilt was not worth the extra $$. The line inside for tilt was over an hour and it literally tilts 30 degrees forward, I can do that leaning over into glass myself. All in all, maybe the Skydeck was a better option.

Wonderful views, friendly staff. We went on Saturday at 11:30 and no long lines. Lots of open spaces was lovely. We decided to try the tilt and it was fun experience. Glad that we read the reviews decided to park on site. Glad we left SUV at home need sedan or smaller SUVs in the city.

The view was beautiful however it was crowded. I paid extra for the drink experience but did not get that experience. Overpriced for just an okay experience.

Stunning views of the city entry process was seamless and quick from start to finish plenty of time to wander round and take amazing photos , do the tilt for the added extra you won’t be disappointed

The views were cool, but I personally don't think it was worth the $. It costs even more $ to do the tilt experience. We were done within 10-15 minutes and a majority of that was spent counting the number of pools that were on top of buildings.

We went at sunset and at night. The view is impressive! However, about the Tilt experience: I didn't necessarily find it crazy: it's a lot of waiting for nothing. In real life, you stick close to the windowz and you see the same thing! It's crowded, but it's okay.

The view is pretty good in all directions. If that’s all you care about you won’t be disappointed. However I did find the space a bit too crowded for my liking. Of course my presence is part of the problem as well, everyone would prefer to have all of the space for themselves. It was a bit difficult to get to the actual windows though, because of how many people were around and tried gettting pictures of everything.
It’s a great view, but I probably won’t come back. If you have the money, I’d rather invest in a nice hotel room on a high floor with a city view. There’s a good selection of hotels around in different price categories and you’ll have the view all to yourself.

the view is spectacular day and night! they also have a pictorial history of Chicago to walk through before entering the elevator.

We went over there with a family of four and we were very disappointed. The view is amazing, but for $35 a person, I was expecting a lot more! There is a bar on top, but nothing interactive to do... you just walk around and ( If you won't download the app) seesbthebtowees and skyscrapers not knowing what you see...
If you compare it to Wilson... Go to Wilson!
In my opinion, it is a waste of money.

Amazing views!!!! We went early morning, and the picture with the sun was so beautiful. I could see where this would be awesome at night too!

View...oh the view . It's just beautiful. Chicago is a beautiful city and you can see it even better from up there. I can only recommend it. You see the whole city , there weren't very many people there, so you could enjoy it. Waiting times were very short. All in all, nice experience.

We went to the bar. They have several specialty drinks. Bartender was amazing. View's incredible. Lovely way to spend the afternoon.

In addition to this John Hancock Center, there is a high-rise building in Chicago called Willis Tower, but I climbed the John Hancock Center because of the beautiful view of Lake Michigan. Unlike the tourist spots where you can walk around, you can only look at the idyllic scenery, so it is recommended for everyone from old people to children. Of course, the view is amazing and I can't get enough of it. It's a bit expensive, but there's also a café where you can enjoy a drink at the observatory and an attraction called Tilt, which looks down through the glass from the window.

A great experience to take the lift 93 floors up, in only 38 seconds! The view that meets you on top is amazing. It was quite spectacular to “hang in the windows,” with the ground right under it.
The rooms were neat and nice, and the serving met expectations.
Recommended!
Remember to ask for veterans discount, if you are entitled to it.

Crowd of vendors blocks every access to the windows of the observation deck. It was rather a bazaar. The views are as usual - wonderful. Service - atrocious. Rude cashier and completely out of the woods "operations manager" Jasmine, though the name is likely fake, she seems to lie without reservations. Pushed to sell the adult ticket on a tall preteen. The restaurant is nothing like advertised unless you like a watery drink

Beautiful view of the city of Chicago. 1 hr was good enough to see all round the city and the Lake Michigan. The warm clear weather allowed us to 360 view to the horizon.

A lot of waiting to go up/do the chosen options and come back down and no explanation when purchasing tickets despite our questions Apart from it's just an incredible life to do!!!!

It was super fun and everything was organized and they also gave us complementary champagne for Mother’s Day. Super friendly everyone their

It was a beautiful and very reasonably priced attraction. Loved watching the sunset there. Grabbed a drink and celebrated while enjoying the Chicago skyline

We have done this a few times. We always enjoy the Breathtaking Views. It is definetly a Must Do for Chicago Visitors. We will visit it again, next Chicago Vacation.

Be warned if you want photos from the tilt, they’re going to charge you an extra $50. They will not let you take pictures on your own. They take them for you and you must buy a package which is a minimum cost of $50. The view was nice, however, the cost of everything up there was too much in addition to what you already paid to go up to the 94th floor. I wish I’d gone to Willis instead. At least you could take your own photos in their glass room. The drinks were overpriced and too sweet. Everything cost extra and at an extreme amount.

We hesitated between the 2 rounds, but based on the feedback from travelers, we finally priced tickets for the 360. I recommend. Even just the cheapest fare, which does not allow to "lean" on the windows , in my opinion is enough.(people queue and stay very little time. Just a good shot of adrenaline, if you really need it!) Possibility to drink something at the bar, and the glass (or is it a cup?) souvenir frankly is not worth the price difference, from what I saw.The view is exceptional and allows a nice look at Navy Pier and the skyscrapers around.

Decided to go up and check out the view seeing I was in town for the Chicago Marathon. Turns out it’s a really great spot for your medal Monday pics.

My cousin purchased tickets ahead of time. The day were to visit there was a snow storm and visibility was zero... So they warned us... My cousin was like...Let's go anyways... We went and they took pictures of us tilting. When it was over and you leave and you have to walk through the gift shop to get out... I saw our pics and they were pretty cute. So I spent $50+ and ordered copies of the pic... They didn't print them out... Instead you download them. The clerk said they would be available for download within 24 hours... Lies... I followed the direction on the receipt and they said they couldn't find the photos...I even had the sample photo that I screen shot.... There is no customer service to talk to about your pics.... Instead they will send you directions on how to upload your receipt and any other documentation to retrieve your pics... I did that and I GOT NOTHING! NO RESPONSE! NO PICTURES!!!!! NOTHING....THIS WAS A $##@! RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT MY MONEY BACK I GOT NO PICTURES.... DO THE TILT BUT DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR PICTURES!!!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S A RIPOFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The 360 views are impressive. The Tilt attraction is extra and allows for extra ordinary sensations. Handles on the sides allow you to stand. Just don't get dizzy. You only have to get the closest to the windows to know if you are dizzy or not from the 94th floor. This remains very expensive as an activity. If you've been near your plane window, and taken pictures of Chicago from the sky, don't bother going.

This was a fun experience. Great views all around. We paid extra to do the tilt experience. It was pretty cool and scary. Bought tickets through Chicago City Pass, which qualified for expedited entry. It was worth it.

From the observation deck high up you have a great view of New York and the surrounding area.
You can also feel the building's vibrations.
You can order a drink in the integrated coffee shop and enjoy the view.
TIP: There is the possibility of a very special experience. For an additional charge of around $10 you can stand at special windows that then move forward. This gives you a clear view down. A truly breathtaking, if also crazy, experience.
In summary, it is a great experience, but it is not cheap. The entrance fee is unfortunately not appropriate and far too expensive!

Amazing views and amazing team. Natalia efficiently helped us to solve a problem with our booking.
Don´t miss Tilt experience. Unforgettable!!

A last minute decision to go up the 360 - at about 5.30pm!
We were at the entrance and compared tickets online with walk up prices - they were cheaper so we booked a visit plus the Tilt plus a drink.
The visit starts with a walk through to the lift, there's plenty to read and look at...and of course have the obligatory photo taken. Some interesting facts here. We then waited for our lift to the top of the observation deck, which didn't take long. It was nice to go up with a member of staff as they told us some more fun facts while travelling up - yes our ears did pop! Once at the observation deck, it was nice to take time walking around the outside, taking photos & sitting on the glass benches. There was no time restrictions here which was good as it was quite busy. Being a lovely clear day, we saw lots and pinpointed places we had previously visited in the city. Would have been good for some key landmarks/points of interest to have been identified - especially for first time visitors.
After walking round we headed to The Tilt entrance. Again no lengthy wait - 5 mins max and yet another photo op. The staff members in the tilt were very chilled & friendly, reassuring the more nervous among us. As it wasn't busy there was free space between each group, which was good. Leaning in (holding tight!) with the wall/window moving was a totally new experience - hubby loved it, I was a little more nervous & didn't really look down. The 'tilt' happened about 2-3 times in total, which was more than enough for me!
We then headed to the bar for our included drinks - be aware its not every drink, there's a separate menu for the included ones. Again absolutely no rush to move you on, we took a window seat (facing the beach) and watched the world below us. It was lovely and quiet until a group of schoolchildren appeared to shatter the peace by shouting, running & posing for photos.
All in all a once-in-a-lifetime experience, well worth a visit.

Not worth the price and the TILT was overrated. Photo printing prices are insane (35 dollars for a not very nice photo).
Nice view tho.

Purchased Sip and View as the website portrayed an intimate and relaxed experience.
Unfortunately it’s the opposite, very busy and impersonal. Overcrowded and a lack of tables to provide the experience that’s been sold and portrayed
The souvenir “glass” is actually a plastic beaker.
Not worth paying for sip and view, just pay for general entry.

It is a must in Chicago, in my opinion it is better than Willis Tower for its 360 degrees and for its position near the lake that leads to offer unique views. It's worth relaxing upstairs in the café with a beer watching the views

While the view is amazing, over $100 for 2 people is rather steep. It was impressive how quickly the elevator gets you up and down. There is no time limit on the top, so that is plus. Staff was friendly. Drinks were delicious, but again, extremely expensive.

I highly recommend it for the night hours. It really enhances the experience. I really enjoyed the environment and cloud bar.

We bought tickets 1.5 hours in advance on 12/27/25. It was a cloudy day, but we didn't know how high up and figured we would get a text or email if weather was a concern for viewing. Upon arriving for our 4:30 time, we were told it was too cloudy to go up and they wouldn't refund the cost. Online the no refund policy is in the FAQ area-I only learned this from the online staff after my inquiry, Upon arrival, the no refund policy was on a bold sign at the desk. Poor transparency that their policy is not as obvious on-line. I would highly suggest NOT buying tickets in advance. Airlines refund tickets or reschedule due to weather-I expected more transparency, integrity and common sense from this company.
In our opinion it is not worth it. Okay, you have an infinite view of the horizon, but you won't be impressed like with similar subjects, for example, in New York. The tilt is also not special, you just go to the edge and it tilts the window a few degrees. On the downside on tilt you can't take pictures yourself, you have to leave them and pay extra.
