Picturesque to walk and hang out

By ManoloPY79 |

Bayside is a special place in Miami since it is located near the Miami Dade Arena and after a basketball game you can go for a walk and stay for dinner. Be careful that if you go very late at night the places are usually packed with people. For purchases, we find here very good Miami Heat hats at a good price and in different sizes. You can also buy souvenirs from the city, sit down to have a snack with a good coffee or simply enjoy a good ice cream on a hot day. Brand clothing stores have very high prices, it is not advisable to buy here since you can get better prices in the outlets. Important note here is the Hard Rock Café, which is highly recommended.

Not your typical shopping mall

By Taylor B |

Bayside Marketplace is a two-story open air shopping mall in downtown Miami, Florida, that is recognized by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitor's Bureau as the No. 1 most visited attraction in Miami. Located at 401 Biscayne Boulevard, adjacent to Bayfront Park, on the banks of Biscayne Bay, it is different from typical shopping malls. It offers an entertainment experience with live music daily, features more than 120 restaurants, bars and shops, has an open-container policy and hosts many family events. The setting, which includes a marina that is a base for many tour boats, was frequently featured on the popular crime drama TV series, Miami Vice. Opened in 1987, the complex added another popular feature in 2020 with the construction of a Ferris Wheel. Shoppers can browse and buy in such shops as Victoria's Secret, Crocs, Skechers, Foot Locker, Bath & Body Works, Champs Sports, Claire's Jewelry, Le Bowtique, Sunglass Hut, Comics, Bayside Cigars and D'Nature cosmetics, hair and nail salon. Fishing excursions and boat trips can be arranged at Miami Aqua Tours, Boat Rental Miami, Thomas Flyer Fishing and Island Queen Cruises. Ready for a lunch break or snack or refreshing drink, stop at Chili's, Five Guys, Haagen-Dazs, Hard Rock Cafe, 305 Daiquiri Bar, Mambo Cafe, Lola Bar, Lombardi's Ristorante, Rolly's Ice Cream, Sugar Factory, Pucci's Pizza, Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls or Landshark Bar & Grill.

Amazing gem in the perfect location

By LukeLawrence |

Amazing shopping during the day and great nightlife after the sun goes down. With the iconic Hard Rock Cafe at the end of the marketplace marking this location visible from all over Miami Downtown and the port.

Worth a visit

By Dennis W |

Nice shopping and restaurants in a great location. Something for every budget. We enjoyed people watching and had a great meal.Picked up some nice souvenirs

Just shopping

By Alexandra T |

There are great views of the marina and the Observation Wheel. There are lots of shops selling almost anything you could think of. If you're in Miami to shop you need to stop here.

Landscapes+gastronomy

By Luis M |

AI app for online maps and complement it with a gastronomy app/AI and that's it. Friendly city for a walk. A good co-pilot analyzing the online map and supporting the milestones and that's it

Bayside Marketplace in Miami, Florida

By Marcia H |

During our two day visit to Miami pre cruise we enjoyed riding the metromover to Bayside Marketplace. It took about fifteen minutes to get to the entrance of the marketplace from our hotel. We were amazed at all the shops and restaurants. Prices were good and there were so many items available. The second day we went we ate at the Hard Rock restaurant and enjoyed that also. Great area to check out.

wonderful city

By Theary K |

We love this city with clean and wonderful views. There are plenty of places to relax and shopping in this place.

very interesting

By anthonyjames1000 |

great location full of life excellent place to visit bars shops great views should recommend to anyone

Interesting area

By Daniel A |

It's a really nice part of Miami. There's kind of an open-air mall on the pier with the Ferris wheel and next to it is Miami Heat Stadium. Parking lots of all kinds nearby. Several clubs with aperitif music. If you are in the area I recommend it for a carefree evening.

Cute.

By Fabiov20 |

Cute to take a walk through shops and stalls, before hiking to see the skyline of miami. Not unmissable, but it fits.

Resort near the Port of Miami

By Julio L |

It is a good resort to drink or eat something casual, buy souvenirs or get on the wheel with 360 degree view

Snag a Lawn Chair

By SJS |

Good place to grab a quick bite/drink or kill some time walking around, but very touristy. Oddly, men’s restrooms are all on first floor, but women’s restrooms are on second floor. Huge trees at entrance are most impressive thing there, and the lawn chairs under the trees are perfect for relaxing!

Worth a visit

By Robyn S |

Good shops and places to drink. It is lacking places to eat in my opinion. I might have given it another star if the bathrooms were clean and for the amount of people it lacks restroom facilities the lines are outrageous to just get into one. If I were renting space there I would complain!

Good experience

By Jeanette S |

A nice place to walk around feeling the beach vibe. Perfect for acquiring souvenirs. Without planning it we ended up doing the boat trip around the small islands and view of some famous houses.

Great getaway day for the family.

By Juan Delgado |

There is so much to see...There is a wide variety of foods. You have to come here. I suggest getting the Go City Miami pass you will save some money.

Very good place to eat and drink.

By Cecibel S |

Only the Security is no to much safe, and we see a lot homeless people and no security around in the day!!!

varied shops and restaurants spread around the Harbour

By mike f |

Very varied shopping area all around the bay. Plenty of places to eat and shop.
Several excursions available around the waterside.
Some little quirky stalls as well as medium and bigger size shops.
Interesting at night time as all the bars compete with each other using DJ's.
There was also a pimped car group who arrived on the evening of Halloween with some amazing vehicles.

Quite morning.

By Mark T |

I walked around the shopping mall in the early morning. I enjoyed the very quiet atmosphere. I saw a lot of luxury boats. I completely went to a zen moment in Miami. If you are looking for a walking course in Miami, please walk around here.

Great port area with restaurants and shops.

By kidsandtravel4fun |

A fun area to walk in, shop, stop for food and listen to live music. Boat cruises from here as well. Had the best reflexology foot massage there too!!

Bayside marketplace, total entertainment

By Juan Carlos |

Entertaining Miami place, to enjoy, walk, eat, go out by boat, good restaurants, hardrock, the wheel, and much more

Nice

By tr8v2l3r |

Loud, lively, busy and a little bit dirty. We enjoyed it enough but probably wouldn't rush to return.

It was nice to see the architecture and the boats.

Don’t miss it !!!

By AndyE224 |

A must stop while in Miami. Love the fun vibe, the shops and the food in Bayside. Even though I arrived close to when it closed I was still able to enjoy every second spend there.

Bayside Marketplace Has It All

By Heather N |

Visiting Miami for a week, visited Bayside Marketplace a few times and we love it. Great food, fun boat rides, the ferris wheel, shopping, and the park are all in one place so there’s something for everyone. Definitely a “must do” item to have on your Miami itinerary.

good

By yusuf a |

Great vibe and lot of options for good food and boating including speed boat. You can enjoy a walk around watching the beautiful marine coast and also beautiful sunset. I had a speed boat experience during sunset and enjoyed the beautiful views of Miami from the waterside. Would love to come back again

To wander

By paolo0586 |

Interesting to wander around the shops, take a look at the bay and maybe go on a boat trip. There is no shortage of opportunities.

Fun quick pit stop

By Nicole H |

Fun thing to do if you are new to Miami! We went for my sister's birthday and enjoyed this pit stop!

Fun place

By Marcia T |

Touristy but fun place to walk around. Lots of shops, restaurants, boat excursions, live music etc....very close to even more locations, cruise ship dock, Kaseya Arena, & more restaurants & shopping

Shopping strip for tourists

By WaiPRUSA |

Limited shopping strip in a great location. Mostly meant for tourists. It has some dining options and stores. They also have boat ride and Dino attractions in the area.

Really nice walk and boats tours.

By Lucas M |

This is a great option if you're staying nearby, but sometimes can be very crowded.
The atmosphere where great and really family friendly.
They offer food choices and fun activities to do. I took one of their boat tours, as a tip, always ask the people selling the activities for a discount; some of them might give you a better deal. We had a really enjoyable time with my kids, and they loved spending time there. There are plenty of shops with different souvenirs and an amazing candy store.

Fun for the family

By Rodney R |

Great selection of restaurants. We ate at the Hard Rock and both the food and service was good. Also, we enjoyed a ride on the giant ferris wheel, which provided good views of the area.

Extortionate parking charges

By Walshy Travels 🇬🇧 |

It’s amazing places like this can extort you $10 an hour to park when you are literally there to give business to all the various shops and restaurants there but that’s how it is.

I’m just sadly old enough now to have visited here 20 years ago and remember how quiet the area was and how you can park for free. The development has turned it into a tourist trap and it is nice to have an entertainment district which is well maintained and looked after. Odd combination of a shopping mall type vibe with lots of young families mixed in with groups scantily clad ladies walking around in their beach wear twerking in and around the various bars that are playing load music.

Great place to see in Miami!

By Wanda K |

Lots of shopping and restaurants here. I went here with a friend to pick up a millionaire's row water tour. They had live music, too! There is a huge ferris wheel type thing you can ride.

Walking distance to the hotel

By LIonel B |

We went several times a day. It's only a 5 minute walk from the hotel and it offered great dining, shopping and has great views of the bay

Trashy

By Vince B |

Prices of everything way out of line. After people watching for an hour or two I have come to the conclusion that we, as a society, are doomed.

Great place to meet up and/or shop!!!

By Carmen D |

Great place to eat, drink and shop. Varieties of all!!! Local and American favorites. Kiosks are awesome! Major brands also retail here. Met up here for boat ride around Miami. Many tours meet here and are available. Hang out and eat and drink before and/or after your tour. Then, don't forget to take ride on ferris wheel!!!

Great spot

By Jaymaxx |

Love it..... Great place with many food options and beautiful views.
Great for people and boat watching.

Soak up the excitement

By wlonika |

Very busy but exciting. Lots of places to eat and a large variety of food. Uber there less hassle with parking. Go later in the evening. Lots of music playing and people didn't need a dance floor to dance. Make reservations to eat in advance for the popular restaurants or go straight to the bar and eat there. Get on the ferris wheel at night because all of the city lights are on, it's more magical. You can do all of your souvenir shopping there. It's a safe place for the whole family to enjoy. You can buy tickets and board any one of the harbor cruises there. It is a great place to end your vacation on a good note.

Great Experience!

By Brianne T |

We had a great time at Bayside Marketplace! There are tons of little shops, big-name stores, and lots of places to eat. The waterfront views and lively atmosphere make it a fun place to explore, and the kids loved it.

The only downside is how busy it gets, especially in the evening. I felt a bit nervous with my two young kids after dinner—it would be easy to get lost in the crowd. Overall, it’s a great spot to visit, just best to go earlier if you have little ones!

Great Atmosphere/Vibe

By Mark G |

In a day early for a cruise so what better way than walk across the street from the Holiday Inn and spend the afternoon/evening walking the complex and taking in all the beautiful scenery. It was extra festive being St. Patrick's Day, with festivities on the water, bars buzzing with March Madness and the 82 degrees and sunshine. We spent a nice long afternoon at the Landshark Bar & Grill that we loved with their basketball specials. In the evening the place lights up and the Miami skyline around Bayside was fantastic and cruise ships are visible a short distance away at the port. Overall, there were hundreds of shops and restaurants, but the only negative was the limited breakfast options there the next morning. The only real sit down breakfast place wanted $28 for pancakes and $7 for juice. Not going to happen. They need to put something realistic for breakfast in here and if not please put a Wendy's in here for a good fast food breakfast under $10.

Lively place to visit and take a tour

By Josie C |

Great place to pick up water cruise around the luxury homes. Commentary was good. Drinks available to purchase. Worth 90 minutes of your holiday. Bayside has a good variety of shops, eateries and craft stalls. Definitely worth a visit.

My son lives in Miami and I wanted to stay downtown for a few days

By Leslie T |

I love this place ❤️ plenty to do and see the boat tour was awesome for shopping 🛍 I would recommend this to anyone who visits

Bayside fun

By V Sood |

Open-air shopping and entertainment destination. You can find everything from clothing and accessories to jewellery and souvenirs. There is a variety of dining options, mostly casual eateries. Several excursions available around the waterside.

Skip it!

By Jill |

Don't waste your time or money! This place is a tourist trap, with only terrible chain restaurants and kiosks that sell crap! There are a million better places to visit in South Florida.

Back to Bayside

By Zee |

Back again. After Covid and during super high inflation and the Russian - Ukraine war ... we made it back to Florida. The last day of our visit was Bayside ... again! However, this time we even had more time ... maybe a little too much. The feeling, the music and the shops were great. The prices too! :(
We still had fun time!

Take the skoops ice cream and forget the shops

By Janaina Abrão |

As a shopping mall not worth it. Most shops are of little relevance, unless you want to buy those travel souvenirs.. We passed there only for the boat ride. Not to say it was all bad, we had a very good ice cream at Skoops!

It has lost its attractiveness over the years

By Kerry0483 |

The first time I came here was in 2013 when there were many brands there that I liked (Gap, Clarks, Us Polo Assn.). I came back in 2017, 2018 and 2023 and realised that the shops more tend to the low-quality side while prices for food (cup of fruits for 10$) remains high. I really only come back for the US Polo Assn Shop, for browsing and of enjoy the views on the bay.

Perfect for some shopping and a meal if time is short in Miami

By Caroline S |

We had one night in Miami on the way home from Costa Rica to the UK so chose to spend it near Bayside so we could have a morning shopping and some lunch before heading to the airport.
It’s a lovely environment for a chilled few hours with a good range of restaurants and we particularly wanted to visit Ralph Lauren and Bath & Bodyworks! If we’d had time we would have taken a boat trip too.

Touri - Nepp

By rennekoester2014 |

It gets worse and worse with the rip-off. For years, the Bayside has been going downhill. This used to be a nice place where you could sit comfortably and eat. And at slightly inflated prices. But it was worth it. Meanwhile, it's just louder and louder. Each store tries to be louder than the other. This makes it just bad edge and very loud. In the meantime, prices are called up there that are outrageous. Even the Hard Rock Cafe is way above the usual prices. All in all, this is just a really bad tourist rip-off.

The music festival was disappointing

By Steve H |

The patrons where too drunk to hear that the music was tarrable and it seemd as if it were trying to get people to act up instead of just enjoying the septic tank of what people call music maybe that is why miami chose to allow such an mastrosity to play in its downtown area I can have a boul movement that doesn't stink so bad......

Great small shops and unique gifts

By renewjoy2 |

First time my husband and I visited the Bayside Marketplace. Great small shops and unique items and gifts everywhere. We didn't get a chance to visit all of the places, but we will definitely be back to explore more then next time in Miami. Looks like a fun place to shop and eat.

Worth a visit

By jammydodger24 |

Really nice place. Plenty to see, and plenty of places to eat. Vendors are all really friendly, and not overpriced we found too, when compared with the rest of Miami/Miami Beach. Definitely head to see the Jack Daniels Christmas Tree at the main entrance.

Birthday boat ride

By dsmith911738 |

We had an amazing boat ride and a tour of the celebrity homes. The drinks were amazing I wish they kept hooters at this location.

Very interesting place!

By IngridLummy |

Nice place to visit.
It looks like a marina, and I think there are tours, because on one of the sidewalks there are several stalls selling tours.
There are several stores, with famous brands and souvenirs, as well as many restaurants of different types.
It is well located, in a central region, and you can get there not only by car, but it is close to a metro station and bus.

Beautiful…

By Errol M |

Beautiful mall, and layout of stores. Friendly owners and great stores. Beware of the high prices! Great venders and food!

Terrible parking experience

By Michael B |

Get rid of scammers like park mobile. I used the park mobile app to prepay for a parking zone that my airbnb host told me of. When I arrived, the zone was coned off, an adjacent zone with one number off was open. They would not let me park there. I could not get ahold of anyone by phone but tried the chat, they basically said we can't refund your money and so you need to buy again. I said I had already bought under this #, they refused to refund me. So me and my wife spent 2 hours driving around, parking fees that could never be used, and never able to shop there like we wanted. Absolutely horrible experience here.

BUSY BUSY BUSY

By Colin O |

Lots of places to eat and drink, and shops - right next to all the boats. Full on with a real party atmosphere.

Variety Of Things To Do

By blessedandforgiven |

While on vacation, my husband chose this for us to go to. This was the 1st time for both of us and I must say we enjoyed it. There's an array of things to do. We took a hour and a half boat tour on The Island Queen boat. We loved it! There are other tour boats to choose from as well. There are several places to shop, eat and just spend 💰. Of course, there's a ferris wheel, if that's your thing. It's a lot of walking, wear comfortable shoes. They also have areas to sit where you can just relax and look at the water. There's a parking deck (you pay base on time there). I give this 10 out of 10.

Great selection of stores and restaurants

By Corina G |

Lovely shopping and variety of restaurants, however prices are pretty high. We will continue to visit, but will limit our spending here.

Sunday

By Malcom |

Lovely Sunday with loved ones we went shopping And afterwards we took a cruise ship they were promoting. What a day!

Do not put this place high on your list of things to see

By Emily H |

This place is filthy and crowded. The shops are all tourist traps and your average mall stores like Claires. There were intoxicated people walking around and I really have no idea why this place is so highly rated. Do not bring your kids here. This place just was not for me I suppose. It was like a poorly executed version of Pike Place Market in Seattle. Yikes.

Accommodation deposit retained

By Jose Miguel D |

I stayed at the hotel for five nights three days ago and was asked to pay a deposit of USD 506.00. When I left the hotel , the deposit had not yet been returned and I have not been able to withdraw that money. I need the $506.00 back into my account. That’s not good. My booking number was #72059102854344

Forrest Gump trivia

By Brad D |

Great 5⭐️experience!!!
Alex, our waiter, was fantastic and hilarious👍🏻The music was good, the atmosphere couldn’t be beat!

A tourist tat trap

By Rodney P |

Join the throngs who go only to find lots of over-priced tourist tat and people encouraging you to take their Boat Ride. Also I have never seen such a queue to get onto the Open Top hop-on / hop-off bus trips

Just okay

By Alex H |

Nice shopping center but only have one very busy bathroom for the whole complex. And lots of people trying to sell you stuff. Nice location though

Unfortunately not as original anymore, but still worth a visit

By holly_night |

Every time you visit Miami, you have to go to Bayside: nice atmosphere, nice shops and music. Always a touch of cruise ship romance. But above all, the small cocktail stand, right in Bayside, where music groups perform and people dance on the weekend, was always a must. Delicious strawberry daiquiries or piñacoladas or whatever your heart desires, mixed by a nice crew at reasonable prices. Now we have discovered that the cocktail stand no longer exists. Unfortunately, everything has become more expensive and superficial. The cocktails are OK and because a lot of things were renovated and brought up to scratch last year, you can definitely spend some nice hours here. Even if not as nice as before Corona.
We will save ourselves this visit in the future. What a pity.

We will be back again.

By Jennyfer C |

My parents and I, recently came back from our Miami trip. May I say this was the best place for people who want to go shopping, enjoy a meal with great vibes and views. We loved the atmosphere and the views. Highly recommend.

"Want to go on a boat ride? A tour? Need a taxi? Let me show you what we have..."

By tomrudz |

Went here on a recommendation looking for a decent restaurant. We were tired from traveling all day, and Uber dropped us off here. We were immediately "attacked" by people wanting to sell us tours, boat rides, car rides, trips, and God know what else. We walked fast to get away from the initial onslaught, but they were everywhere. Skipped all of the shops because of it and went straight to a restaurant whose name we recognized. Overall, the market seems rundown and dreary and beyond its heyday. Definitely not a place we will return to.

Seedy , Tacky and just horrid

By AJtripper |

This was awful . $20 for and hour and 15 min parking . The outlets a are horrid . Cheap and tacky souvieners . No quality clothing boutiques . The eateries are overpriced and scruffy with the exception of 🦞 Rolls that looked ok . It’s heaving with people with suitcases straight off the Cruise liners . It really is dreadful . Possibly fallen foul of covid . 1 st visited 30 yrs ago when it was glamourous and stylish . No longer !
If you want a nice mall experience head up the coast to Aventura .
Lots of boats from here, but sadly not for me and to be avoided .

Visit Bayside Marketplace Miami

By Serena O |

I honestly expected more. Outdoor shopping center but nothing special. The Ferris wheel is nice but the prices are crazy!

Absolutely worth visiting

By Giulia |

My partner and I returned several times to this semi-closed shopping center, very well organized and well maintained. There are countless shops and kiosks, as well as pub bars and restaurants (in America you definitely can't starve). It is on several levels, and you really find everything. Whether for Shopping or a simple walk, Recommendation to go absolutely

Very nice

By Alessandra M |

Full of things to see and do, you can buy lots of gifts for family and friends. You can walk very well and there's music

Fun Shops and Dining!

By Pat R |

We had an overnight in Miami so took a Lyft to Bayside Marketplace. Super fun area to shop with lots of dining options. It’s an open air marketplace on the waterfront so has stunning views and offers lots of water activities. The sunset was beautiful and the Ferris wheel looked amazing in the evening! Everyone was very friendly, and we never felt unsafe the whole time we were there.

Great area to shop and eat

By Jade Simpson |

There is so many different places to choose from shopping to eating to just enjoying the amazing view. If you have some time to kill or want to hit a lot of shopping in a close space this is your location!

Shopping with a Large Parking FEE Attached

By Choate |

We enjoyed this location, however with you stay for 3hr or more the Parking Fee is $30 an is outrageous. We also were looking for Handicap parking and they block off the Handicap parking due to the Basketball games and therefore handicap people don't have a close place to park as Florida Statue requires. I will be notifying the State with a Complaint about blocking or selling spaces to others who are not handicap. Not the right thing to do.

Nice little place

By Monica B |

I loved the shops and Cuban food and drinks. The price was very reasonable. I really recommend a visit. We had to get a taxi from the port of Miami and it takes only 5 minutes by taxi.

Worth a visit

By debac |

Saw some nice stuff here. If you are traveling further south from port, leave room in your suitcase; you will surely find plenty you will want to bring along. One type of store missing, tho, was a good shoe or sandal store. A flip-flop store, and some sandals, but not a good variety of good walking shoes.
Also, many restaurants along the waterfront with outdoor seating so you can bask in the warmth and sway to the music.

Touristy

By crushertim |

It's near the cruise terminal and very toursity, it all felt a bit tacky but is clearly aimed at that market. Walked through it several times whilst going to various places but wouldn't make a special journey.

I recommend

By celine11 |

A super nice place with lots of shops and restaurants.
A nice Cuban Mood like everywhere in Miami by the way.

Great Shopping

By Kathleen C |

Great place to shop! It also has live music! Love it! You can also catch the big bus tour right outside. It's very convenient!

Great hangout space for friends

By Jimea J |

We were in town for a Virgin Voyage cruise and needed a place to grab a bite to eat before retiring to our hotel and this was the perfect location! There is more to do here than just eat! You can go on short boat cruises, have a cocktail or 3, lol, meet up and catch up with friends! That's exactly what I did! I met up with some friends, had good food, cocktails, and enjoyed the view from the restaurant. Prime location for Miami! Can't go wrong here but pack some patience for the parking garage! My suggestion...UBER!

Simple steps can make your experience a lot better

By Help |

Definitely nice setup with super expensive shops. The boat rides are reasonable but hard to negotiate. They make the simplest way to catch a boat amazingly difficult to figure out?

Very Touristy

By lcattau |

We stayed at the Intercontinental right near the marketplace. I just wanted to grab a quick bite to eat. I was amazed at the lack of fast food or grab and go. Almost everything was sit-down. I walked around for 20 minutes, and found only an ice cream shop. There were no maps to direct you. The shops were also tacky. I'm used to marketplaces having more character. This was very touristy.

BELOW Average!! - Miami Bayside Marketplace

By Loyalff |

The Bayside Marketplace is good for food and just OK for shopping. The mall itself is dirty and weathered. There is boarding for the bay cruise and other boating activities at tĥe waterfront. There are not very many restrooms for such a huge number of people. There are long lines to the restrooms and are poorly located on two leveĺs. The restrooms are under repair and outside porta potties were being used for the men. There are only 5 porta potties that were full and needed pumping. Pretty disgusting conditions. At best I would give it a 3 star rating as average but marked it down because of the condition and lack of overall cleanliness.

Nice for a walk

By Xristos A |

Nice market place....too expensive gift shops and too touristic but it s good for relaxing and for a cocktail...there were a lot choices for eating we try two and was ok

Fun place to visit.

By Camper43131055681 |

Fun to walk around and look at all of the shops. Lots of things happening.
There was live music. And options for tours.

Great destination

By Rhjones69 |

I wish I had more time to shop the different stores. What a wonderful, lively, destination. Lots of things to see and do. The employees are super friendly at the establishments. Lots of foods to choose from. Clean and safe. Easy parking. Be sure to ride Thriller and the Sky Wheel.

Pointless. Just eating, horrible shops and vendors for trips

By Loek C |

Pointless. Just eating, horrible shops and vendors for trips, boatrides and events. Nothing to see here and you could just skip this.

Fun Time - Good Drinks & Views

By Traveler11207 |

After a morning of traveling, lunch was at Bubba Gump. Disappointingly, Bubba Gump food is not good. It was all very overcooked. The fish, calamari, & shrimp were all dry & hard. Also, I don’t believe the potatoes are real, despite them having red skins in them. Go elsewhere, Bubba Gump is not the place you want to eat at. It’s shameful.

However, Fat Tuesday drinks were delicious. All adults in my group were delighted by their liquor choice & souvenir cups. Pricey, but worth every dime. Those floaters…yessss.

The small empanada stand was delicious. The service was with a smile, despite the heat outdoors. Good treats. Give the empanadas a try.

People watching & the view at Bayside was very entertaining.

Hard Rock Cafe for dinner was good; typical Hard Rock eatery. Their burgers are always good.

Pleasant Morning at the Market

By Thomas V |

We did some casual shopping here and that was OK. But what we really appreciated was the lovely location on the Bay. Nice to look at the water and we found a good place to sit and drink coffee. Pleasant morning.

Fun and excitement

By Simone S |

Lively place, high spirits, with ambient sound, many shops, bars and restaurants, as well as a very beautiful view of the bay with moored boats and snacks.
It also has a Ferris wheel and Hard Rock café.
Public parking only in front.
Also take advantage and visit the Ross store across the street.

Tired and crowded

By Viki C |

Nothing interesting here as far as shops go but you can catch several different boat tours here. Needs a refresh.

Shopping in the open sky!

By Ricardo C |

A must-see place in Miami to visit, close to the Kaseya Center and close to access to the southern part of Miami Beach where we were staying.
We went on a Saturday night and initially had trouble parking, but then we managed to stop at the main car park covered for $30.
It's a place that has several shops and restaurants, and it's pretty crowded.
On the day we visited, we focused on eating and shopping at Hard Rock, and we liked Sky Views Miami, which is the giant wheel located in the complex.
A very cool place to see the sea, enjoy the view of the bay, see the boats, shop and enjoy an afternoon end.
I recommend the visit! It's an open-air shopping!

whistle stop shopping

By Andy M |

Lovely quaint shopping mall with all types of interesting shops. Always good fun to visit. Lots of clothes shops and some nice snack shacks too.

Nice Dinner

By Felix V |

Bayside is always good. You can shopping and dinner as well. Excellente food at Knife. Try the churrasco. Bayside is a good option for Dinner

Relaxed atmosphere

By Philippe C |

Lots of trade. Clean and several restaurants. Superb atmosphere. The only negative point is during basketball matches... Difficult to get around in the evening at this time and there are a lot of people there.

Skip it

By Colleen B |

Very touristy, shops are mid, not great food options. Traffic is horrible, as it's right next to the arena. I would recommend going to a more authentic area in the city to see Miami

nice to see while u return/go form boat tour

By hmm |

tons of shops to do some shopping specially some souvenir and have benches to relax incase you are tired of walking.

Nice place to have lunch & shop

By ShoeConnoisseur |

We went to have lunch there before we boarded our cruise. The atmosphere is lively, exciting, and has a variety of shops. We had a photo taken and the quality of the pictures were really nice. We had to kill some time before we boarded and this is a great place to do it. Bring your wallet though.

Wonderful mall

Great stores and restaurants. Excellent energy. Plenty of places to buy Miami merchandise. Great variety of food places but my fave is Margaritaville.

Meh

By BuceriasBoy |

Open air shopping and dining mall on the water. Nothing special. Could be anywhere. Attracts local teens at night.

Beautiful.

By Pamela L |

Beautiful experience , Mexican food , Italian oriental fusion, Argentine, are the typical dishes you can taste in this beautiful shopping center. The experience is very good, you can sit down for a drink overlooking the bay and see the yachts and boats, you can also take a boat ride. Tropical music, it's just beautiful

Great place to visit...

By Tarn M |

Absolutely Fabulous...great shopping area with lots of smaller, tourist type shops as well as a few larger designer outlets. The whole area is under shade so makes for a nice retreat from the Miami sun. Loads of restaurants and bars, very relaxed Great place to visit would definitely go there again.

shopping/eating in downtown

By Patrick P |

good open mall setting, lots of stores except for some of workers outside hawking.........Landshark Rest is was, great service and scenery by the dock

Essential visit

By sofia p |

Must visit-los and spend the morning or afternoon, I will return day by ka night, live music, many shops and restaurants there are different kinds of food. It's nice to walk it and walk it.

Walk that fits

By Simo.R. |

Tour between shops and restaurants that you have to do. The shops are very nice. We also stopped in some bars .. nice everything but objectively a little expensive.

Lots of fun and a lot to do. Very picturisqe

By bobkat111 |

We did the Millionair's row Yaht tour. It was so informative about 90 minutes. The water was an amazing deep sapphire to then turquoise blue. Lots of good restaurants and local artisan merchants and entertainers. A fun place to be for a few hours.

Quiet and pleasant place

By Catherine G |

We walked around and rested for a while on a bench. This place is calm and sheltered from the hustle and bustle of the city although just behind it. Plus we are at the water's edge and it is very pleasant to watch the boats.

Terrible tourist trap

By Reggy_71 |

Place without character, full of anonymous overpriced shops. The whole impression pretty crappy. We paid $10 for an hour parking. Do not waste your time on this.

Not worth it

By candice |

It was just ok. Lots of people bothering you as you walk by to try and sell you stuff you don’t need. Plenty of places to eat, but WAY overpriced.

Very touristy but has a cool vibe.

By Travelandexplore |

In my opinion, I think Bayside Marketplace is made for tourists. A lot of the tours and sightseeing cruises depart from here. There are not that many shops. A good place to buy souvenirs. There are a wide variety of dining options. Lovely view overlooking Biscayne Bay. Loud, fun and busy.

Expensive tourist trap

By Petra V |

Amazing views from the fairies wheel, the rest is ok. Overpriced food and drinks. Didn't do much shopping for souvenirs. Everything seemed too expensive. Better off to go shopping some place else in Miami

A Pitfall...and a Thorough Waste of Time

By Mel C |

There is nothing to recommend it. It is the very definition of a trap for tourists: folks are lured here by the vague promise of an exotic tropical experience, and then they realize that they have been baited as their money disappears just as if devoured by a bear whose diet is cash and credit.

Bayside Marketplace

By Laura |

Spontaneously I went to Bayside Marketplace. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming – perfect for strolling and lingering. However, you are constantly approached in many places, as retailers everywhere want to sell their goods. This can be a bit exhausting over time, especially if you just want to stroll in peace. Overall, however, a nice place with some shopping and a lively atmosphere.

Must see in Miami

By Wayne C. |

Great shopping, reasonable prices, and open air dining. Tour boats and Margaritaville. Cheap covered parking, but the automated system was challenging.

Great place to hang pre-post cruise!

By Taraks Travels |

In Miami a day prior to our Virgin Voyages cruise and spend the afternoon and evening at Bayside. Staying at Holiday Inn right across the street, this was ideal spot to grab food after our flight arrived and we got to the hotel. Plenty of food options, shopping and things to do here during the day and evening.

Finish building

By Doris R |

They still haven't finished building the central part, a year ago I was in the same place and it continues in the same way, it gives a bad look to the business

Dreamlike place

By N-+-wichtig |

The location and the view are amazing. The shops are for everyone........I just find this place a feel-good place .....you should have just seen it

Not my cup of tea

By Carlie H |

It felt dirty to me. Very underwhelming. I agree with the other reviews. Tourist trap. There are nicer places in Miami to visit. The parking garage appears to be problematic in the evening. The Victoria Secret glass doors of the entrance was dirty. It just didn't seem clean to me. I felt like I needed to wash my hands immediately after leaving that environment.

We visited once but don't intend on returning. The 90 min cruise tour of celebrity homes was nice. But just not my kind of area. I heard it used to be a classy place years ago, not so much now.

Fun place with lots of shops

By Papiomary |

We did a sunset cruise off one of the piers and got there early. Had some lunch and a drink prior - which was a set up of a QR code and then delivered to your table. We had the quesadilla (chicken and beef) and the plantains. They were really good.

Miami Views & Vibes Galore!

By Jodie E |

OMG I loveeee Bayside! I grew up in Miami and I haven't been back for about 20 years- I missed the vibe! It's such a beautiful place full of shops, bars, and every kind of food you can imagine. We had stuffed arepas for lunch, followed by a (really strong) happy hour drink at Lola Bar, and then boarded a replica pirate ship to tour Millionaire's Row. It was such a great day- I wish we didn't have to get back on our cruise ship! If you're in town, def check this place out at night. You will love the lights, music, Ferris wheel, and people watching. It's a fun time for couples, friends, and families!

adorable

By MariaY4045YO |

It is a very pleasant place, next to Biscayne Bay, where the water tours leave. It has shops, restaurants and bars for all tastes. It is also the meeting point for the other tours.

It's worth knowing

By PatriciaPessoa |

Beautiful place to take photos during the day. Shops with reasonable prices to buy souvenirs. I only found that the restaurants could close later, mainly on day of games in the Kaseya Arena.

Must visit and popular. Hang out.

By Luis T |

Fun somewhat noisy experience. Popular, products and food for large groups. Careful attention from a staff overwhelmed by the public. To go from time to time.

nice vendors

By Julie |

great vendors with nice products. nice afternoon walk
great restaurants and treats as well. right on the water

Tourist Hellscape

By Maggie |

My dad and I drove down from West Palm Beach to explore for Father's Day and thought that Bayside would be a cool place to explore and get a bite to eat. WRONG. This is a huge tourist trap with chain retail stores and low quality chain restaurants. I felt like a walked into a scam.

Bayside

By João M |

Excellent surprise, very pleasant.
I did not expect such a variety of shops, bars and restaurants. Local
Very pleasant to dine and celebrate the arrival of 2025.

Absolutely LOVE this place! Great shopping! Great drinks! Great food!

By Tammy O |

We absolutely LOVE this place! So fun! Live music! Drinks, dancing, shopping, views, this place has it all!!!

great shoping and...

By Nicola C |

Great shoping and restaurants as well as the boat tour we took around the bay with Island Queen Cuises and Xcursions USA.

Not the Number 1 shopping experience we were looking for

By Alistair P |

Disappointed in the place. It came up as the Number 1 place for shopping on Trip Advisor, but it is mostly T-Shirt and Sweatshirts stalls. There are a few decent bars plus the Hard Rock Cafe and Margarita Ville.

Yes, but

By superserge |

Only if you plan to take a boat trip, then it is interesting. To group the 2 leisure activities. See lunches or dinner in the process.
Attention, count 40 dollars for parking.

Very touristic

By Dr_Iris_B |

The bayside marketplace is a very touristic place by the Bay Area.
It offers numerous little shops, restaurants and boat rides
It can get quite busy especially during the weekends

Not the place I remember…

By James A |

I remember my first trip to Miami over twenty years ago and it was a different world compared to today. A lot has changed and the “smart” phones are a big part of that. Service is lacking here if people “working” are on their phones. I guess this problem is everywhere. The phones are a large part of it. But when you’re on duty… come on. Phone should be put away. Nicer in the past.

Bayside Miami

By Too Poor 2 |

A nice slice of tourism right by the Sports arena and next to the cruise port in downtown Miami. Very typical tourist destination with lots of small gift shops selling typical tees, magnets, key chains, cups, etc, along with some bars and restaurants on the water. A good way to kill several hours just hanging around the area.

Chili’s 🌶️

By Chrishiera J |

We checked out Bayside’s Chili’s restaurant. It was inviting, clean, and comfortable. There is also a Torch of Friendship not to far.

Ok if you are close by

By Bill |

As others have mentioned this is a tourist attraction. You can arrange for a boat or city tour from one of the many vendors at this location. It is compromised of many tourist type store and a number of warehouse clearance stores. In addition there are a number of restaurants to choose from with different types of food. If you are in the area you can stop by but not worth a long distance trip to see it unless you are going on a bus or boat tour. Most of them seem to leave from this location. There is a ferris wheel as part of the things to do there. The ferris wheel provides a nice view of the area is not a bad option to try if you are already there.

Yes, but not in rainy weather

By Strathacona |

Yes, it was raining, so the atmosphere wasn't that bombastic and I almost felt sorry for the ship tour providers.
Small, fine shops and many bars. Certainly cool when the weather is nice, not recommended when the weather is rainy

Not for Me

By FabulousTL |

Could be fun for a quick visit to check out the shops. We ate here but it was not a good experience. There is a variety of stores, restaurants and attractions but unfortunately it all seemed a bit dirty and run down. I would not return.

Lots of music

By Laveeta M |

There is all kinds of music playing, Bubba Gumps restaurant is good eating, and if you would like to take a short cruise on the party boat you can do it before or after some shoppinh.

Go if you’re bored

By Jay |

It’s a huge marketplace with lots of different shops, but not great shops. It’s over crowded and so many people trying to sell you a ride on something. The views behind it are great.

Nice shopping area and tourist attraction.

By ELO |

This is A lot of shops and restaurants, and A lot of tourists. The shops Are for tourists. You Also find sightseeings here.

beautiful and huge

By Court |

This place is one big tourist trap designed to get you to spend money. It is on the waterfront and absolutely beautiful. Lots of boat tours and stores to shop. Stores range from expensive to affordable, like Rainbow. Plenty food places too, although food court upstairs is one store. Nice place to spend the day and drink (lots of places for that).

Bayside Marketplace Miami

By Faboarg |

It is a nice place in a strategic location in Miami and we had specially scheduled it for our Tourist Bus ride.
It's not bad, it's a nice walk with several shops and dining options like the Hard Rock and several water rides start from there, but perhaps we went with very high expectations and it didn't seem as dazzling as they had recommended.

Worth a visit!

By Jason D |

Great Miami vibes down there. The marina where Crockett kept his boat on Miami Vice! Lots of shops and restaurants to choose from!

Cool spot to grab a drink, or shop

By Ktskicks215 |

Bayside Marketplace was walking distance from our hotel. It was like an outdoor mall but with plenty of places to eat or get a drink. It was definitely high energy with lots of music, there were plenty of options for tours nearby, it was worth checking out.

Underwhelming

By Rachel H |

It was fair at best if I’m honest. Lots of people selling cruise / boat ride tickets and lots of cheap souvenir shops. I love finding local markets and supporting local artists or even just good shopping in generalS for me, this wasn’t any of the above. The Ferris wheel and palm trees made for great pictures but I’d much rather walk along Lincoln Road or Ocean Drive than here. It would be towards the bottom of my to do list in Miami - so many better options.

A Street Market- average vendor stuff and cigars..

By RiverbendTX |

A cigar smoky environment- very humid. Loud music more of a Carnival atmosphere- young families- girls dressed in club clothes.. we had a light supper.. walked through vendors selling average merchandise.. I would not come back at night - has to be more in other areas..

Fun Place to Visit

By AndresAk |

This is a fun place to visit. Open air shopping to find Tshirts, hats, Miami gear - just about anything you want. You can sip on a drink from the Mojito Bar while waiting for you cruise or have gelato (yummy!). Hard Rock Cafe is here also. Lots to eat and drink and shop for here!

Great Place to Spend a day especially before a cruise

By bigwawao |

Was here the day before our cruise. We stayed at the nearby Holiday Inn.
This is a 2 story open air market complex much like a strip mall located by the water.

A lively place with lots of inexpensive shops and eateries. Very good vibes!
In the complex you could purchase bus and water tours of Miami city.

There is parking nearby.

A great place to spend the day especially before a cruise.

So adorable!

By Stephanie S |

Great spot to walk around and see the water and gorgeous boats. Lots of shops and little souvenir shops. Lots of places to eat and drink as well. Awesome Ferris wheel too! we came here twice to walk around and loved it both times

Lovely views

By Zoie Thompson |

Lovely to return back here. Plenty of shops and a market on the water front. Beautiful views. Plenty to do.

The ladies toilet was broken, so everyone had to queue for the one men's.

Lotta shopping lotta food

By Larry M |

Definitely I must see if you stop in Miami. There’s plenty of shops things to do plenty of food.A lot of pictures to take it has a beautiful view

Good location

By Carla |

With privileged views over the Marina is an excellent place for any of the meals. It also has great bars for a late afternoon drink.

Touristy

By Jessicad M |

Crowded! And pretty expensive! Very much a touristy thing to do, but my daughter really enjoyed the Ferris wheel.

Good Miami vibe

By Chris |

Good Miami vibe. Was what I expected from Miami and think my teenage kids really liked it. Went over 4th of July and liked the family events.

Not worth visiting

By Nokko |

We didn’t enjoy the area too much. A lot of noise, lots of people and mostly touristy shops. The view was nice but the atmosphere was not great.
The Ferris wheel could be fun for people who like it.

Over Priced

By 426greg |

Kinda neat to do but just a bunch of touristy shops and high priced restaurants. Parking is high. Good place to find excursions.

Kindness in Florida

By Torgny B |

Like the shores around the coast but today the east is best as long the hurricane have disturb the Gulfstream, so I go now to Miami Beach and Delray Beach and Orlando/Kissimmee area during 15 days

Not what it once was !

By JoeCAtlanticCity |

What happened to this place? We hadn't been back in years. The place used to afford quality shopping and dining in a relaxed atmosphere. NOW it's cheap junk stores, terrible food court style dining and full of young meandering juveniles. Not a place for families.

Stayed at Citizen M Enjoyed walking eating at bayside market and it’s convenient boat and bus tours

By Salwa B |

Vibrant area with shops food ocean views and many attractions. Big bus tours and boat tours stop there. Not far from airport or beaches

Nice bayside area, lots to do!

By Jon P |

I really enjoyed my visit to Bayside. There was a nice buzz about the place, it was clean and tidy and there was lots to do.

The Pier 5 bar was a nice place to enjoy a drink and people watch, and you can scan a QR code at your table to order food from several of the outlets there to be brought to you. We got some pizzas which consisted of two huge slices of decent (but average) pizza.

We took a boat tour while we were there, which we booked via one of the kiosks. The people hawking boat tours are annoying so we deliberately approached one that wasn’t chasing people around. The tour was a well-spent hour and a half.

We then had a go on the big wheel, which is apparently quite new. It was $20 for adults and $15 for kids, which is pricey but to be fair there was a good ride time.

We visited during the day, I imagine it will have a really nice buzz at night too. Worth a visit!

Vale una visita...

By Claudio M |

Simple shopping center but reserves unexpected surprises both as a refreshment point and for some "big brand" that sells clothing at very affordable prices for us Europeans.

Poor Customer service

By Miguel C |

Very large place yet there is no one there to answer the phones and provide information. Poor customer service to tourists.

Nothing Interesting

By ace |

There was nothing interesting in the entire place. Paying 10 dolars per hour when you have a car for literally nothing. When you get inside all you see is tourist traps and average shops. A couple of places slightly might be worth seeing but only if you don't have a car. Don't have any expectations

Great bayside shopping

By Seghers P |

Enjoyed strolling through this shopping venue for souvenirs, eats, and getting the flavor of Miami. Beautiful bay views, and Ferris wheel made it a fun place to spend some of my short visit time in Miami.

ok for a couple of hours

By Tim D |

was ok, but a lot of building work going on so very noisy will be good when finished. Shops were ok, some good but expensive eateries

Howard’s Visit

By Howard Llewellyn |

Went during the daytime, very busy with lots of families visiting. Low quality shops selling cheap tourist junk. And equally low quality restaurants/food stalls , the only half decent one was the Hard Rock Cafe if you are into burgers.

Low quality food and entertainment. Waste of time. We were recommended to visit this place by locals but never again.

By kasia |

Cheap and loud. If we knew what kind of fun was offered there, we would definitely never visit the place. I don’t know what people see there as worthy.

Great place to visit

By jadeP-D |

A must visit when in Miami !

So much to see , eat and do. It was point A for us when we visited every time we would go out we would come back to the bayside for drinks, food or just a stroll.

Worth Visiting

By dstrickl29 |

Really enjoyed the market place. Demilo Papi is highly recommended! The line might be long but it's definitely worth the wait. LA Canita was just ok but we gave it 2 stars because the service was horrible. We also enjoyed the Millionaire tour on the Queen Island Tour.

Good view

By Gabriel Sodré |

It is a very nice place where you can hang out with you family and/or friends. There's some good food and a very beautiful view

Used to be great

By Joseph A |

I used to love visiting this spot when I was in Miami. Now it's just become an over commercialized dump.

Nice to spend some time. Always plenty going on

By migpadi |

Had heard good things about Bayside. Nice place for taking pictures and walking around. Will have a lot of tourist movement. Area where cruise ship passengers go to shop. Can get pretty crowded, depends how you feel about being in crowded areas

If you’re in your own transportation, own car or a rental be prepared to pay $20-40 for parking depending on how long you want to be there

American Style...

By Andrea438 |

A pleasant place: as the name suggests, it is a bay equipped as a tourist port and shopping area in Miami, close to the Cruise Terminal. The dock offers all kinds of places for snacks, pizza, cocktails, ice creams and sweets as well as items for tourists, t-shirts, tattoos... in short, everything a bit rigorously in American style.

Don’t waste your time

By Around the World |

Don’t waste your time. Nothing to explore. Just cheap product market. Nothing authentic. We thought it’s a food market as well.

Bayside Marketplace Miami Florida USA

By Karen L |

Bayside market place is perfect for all to enjoy.

Lots of places to eat, drink and shop till your hearts content.

Perfectly situated within walking distance from many accommodations and close to Miami Heat basketball stadium, Frost Science Centre and the dog and cat park

Very touristy

By DanieLuca |

Super tourist place with stalls for every taste. High prices (two daiquiris standing in plastic cup $40)

So much to do

By tomtI7923NS |

You could walk though the market every day of the week and there will always be something new to see and do

Holidays in Miami

By May |

It was spectacular, Miami is extraordinary, both for shopping and walking. I recommend it to everyone, a place like multiple food options, shopping and visits.

Good place to spend a day

By SeaPotatoUprising |

Bayside is the standard outdoor mall with plenty of places to eat. Overall it's good for about a 1/2 of a day of activity that you can stretch in to a whole day with the attractions surrounding it. There are all of the normal touristy things to do right around the mall like the ferris wheel, ride the jet boats, tiki-bar, sunset cruises and so on. Overall, you'll have a good time if you do it right.

Worth a visit also for the non shoppers

By Charreke1992 |

Nice area consisting of shopping mall, Ferris wheel, skyscrapers and nice vieuw over the bay. Definitely visit, nice during the evening with lights on the water.

Nice tourist spot

By Myra P |

Very touristy but enjoyable. Lots of nice little shops and lots of food variety. Nice setting on the bay.

Enjoy a walk along the pier and a non-alcohol fruit drink

By Pat G |

A good place to kill a couple hours. Plenty of little souvenir stores and all are over priced. All have the same thing. Plenty of places to eat and if you like to booze, then you'll enjoy this place. Bring your credit card. They prefer CC rather than cash. We had a Lobster Roll - $30 for that. We split it. It was the size of 2 pc of Texas Toast if you know what that is. Other than booze, expensive food, venders in your face trying to get you in their store or sell you their boat rides... It was OK to kill off a couple hours. We got there at 11 and left at 1 on a Thursday so it was quiet and not very crowded.

Bayside Marketplace

By dlepag160951 |

Nice variety of shops and food venues available at the Bayside Marketplace. Within walking distance from many local hotels in the Biscayne Blvd area. But just beware of the extreme heat and humidity of Miami (especially during the day). So be cautious if you don't do well in the heat.

Lively but noisy

By L. |

On holiday in Florida and a few days in Miami we tested Bayside in the evening: a lot of people, very lively. Multiple catering offers. I deplore the deafening music of every restaurant.

Excellent location, must visit in Miami

By Sad P |

Brilliant area in Miami, nice little shopping area with various restaurants and bars. This is where the boat tours depart from, buy your tickets here, cheaper than online websites. You could easily spend an evening here.

Must visit

By Pam sawden |

We spent a day at Bayside on Valentines day. It was lovely. Plenty restaurants, bars and of course boat trips to pick from. Take advantage of happy hour, some places 3-6pm and other 4-7pm.
Even went on Skyview at sunset which was lovely.

It's worth stopping for a few hours

By Paolo Carboni |

Located in front of the park of the same name, Bayfront Park is a shopping center made up of many shops, a sort of very beautiful and enjoyable outdoor mall. You can get some really good deals: for example, the US Polo Assn. store. he sold the polo shirts for just over 20 dollars, prices that were unacceptable in Italy. Parking in the area, unfortunately, is not cheap at all, but it is worth stopping here for a few hours.

Nice and quiet

By Andrea-Brugalero78 |

The best tourist shopping center I've ever seen so far where I found, in my opinion, the best cocktails

Hermoso Paseo

By lucianacordoba |

Beautiful walk for the family, there are several shops and restaurants in the area. You can take a boat ride, or walk along the bay. Nearby there is paid parking and there is also the Hard Rock Cafe. We enjoyed it!

Wonderful location

By Rich W |

A wonderful bay side development. Lots of stores and restaurants and a great view of the bay. You will love it

The place to be

By D Drew |

Nice shopping experience with plenty of department store brands and many different restaurants serving worldwide cuisines and bars to choose from. The main meeting point and ticket booths for various tours in and around Miami. A must visit!

First visit to Miami

By Nicole M |

Great atmosphere for drinks and views on the water. First visit to Miami and the Marketplace Bayside was beautiful....

Go for afternoon drinks

By Claire and Luke |

We walked here from Brickell, to get breakfast and shop around. We were a bit disappointed at the lack of unique shops and dinning, but we ended up at Bacon Bitch, which was very fun, and had great food.

This would be a great spot to grab drinks later in the afternoon, but I wouldn't come here with the intent to find unique shopping.

Must visit in Miami. Loads to stores and resturants. Nice pace, friendly staff

By Suresh M |

A bit of shopping good places to eat great views. Must see place in Miami.Great place to start your boat trips. Also great veiws of Miami

Ferris wheel, boat ride and food - what’s not To like?

By Aksharam |

If you have a half day, this is a good place to visit to get the essence of Miami. Sky ride Miami Ferris wheel was good. We booked a thrill boat ride that took us in a fast boat for 45 mins. Was good to cool off after a lazy lunch at Lombardis by the boats. Gelato and the line of shops for souvenirs was a good way to spend an otherwise hot day outside.

Nice place

By Bea |

It is a nice place situated at a haven with many shops, cafes and restaurants. Sonny main character of Miami Vice had his boat there so if you are a fan of Miami Vice you must go there.

Walk relaxation

By magali c |

Nice place, unmissable and very lively. Ideal for finding small memories and having a pleasant time.

Touristy But Fun

By pfefmeister |

You have to visit this vibrant area of downtown Miami set along the bay front. Yes, it’s super touristy, but that’s part of the attraction. Many restaurants and bars to choose from, as well as a Ferris wheel. Be careful when paying up, they automatically add 18% as a tip, so don’t get caught adding more on the gratuity line!

One time is ok

By Robak2018p |

It is nice overlooking the water and walking around. It has restaurants, bars, clothing shops, sightseeing cruises and fishing charters. Everything is very overpriced! But for a stroll around once in the day and evening when it's lit up is nice.

Pre Miami Heat Game!

By Pat |

Good place to stop and eat or drink before a Miami Heat game. The place is well covered so good shade from the sun and there's an ice cream shop in it that although expensive, sold awesome lemon biscuit ice cream that was awesome.

If you like to drink and hang out perhaps this is the place for you, but not suitable for children and families

By Suki VDB |

We visited based on reviews and honestly not impressed. Not a place for families with children as there are bars and eateries and pretty much the only thing going for it. Ben's pizza was the BEST thing about Bayside as their slices were the size of 1/3 of a whole pizza.

There are better places to visit for sure

Loved the atmosphere and views!

By Travelandexplore |

The atmosphere. Loved this place. A bit of a strange layout and a mixed bag in terms of shops but I enjoyed browsing, walking along the bay and taking in the atmosphere. Busy. Lot's of eateries as well. If your doing a day tour or boat cruise your likely to leave from here. Highly recommend.

great way to spend a day

By Special K |

we arrived in Miami from the airport at 9 am too early to check-in at the hotel. There was 4 of us. So we went to bayside marketplace. they had shops street vendors sightseeing water activities it's a great way to spend free time we walked the shops stopped for lunch at landshark restaurant we had peel and eat shrimp i would say they were the large size and they were chilled with cocktail sauce and fried pickles they were the bomb. we had fish tacos it was 3 to a order the seafood combo that wasn't a large serving for the money, bbq burger was ok, and the crispy chicken sandwich and key lime pie for dessert we spent $102. for the 4 of us excluding the tip. then we went for a boat ride to south beach and the cost was $35. per person it was about a 20-30 minute ride the boat lets you off and comes back in a hour but the thing is where the drop you off its more of a boat dock no sandy beach all in all the day was over at 4:30 and we had a good day.

not great

By olivias33 |

This area has some stores but not a whole lot like I was expecting. They have little carts that look like booths you can shop at. There are some restaurants to choose from and it's on the water. A cool part about this is they have a skyline that you can ride and see the whole area.

Here’s the best pizza.🍕

By Marli S. |

Ben’s Pizza in Miami (Bayside) is very special. Situated directly on the water, with a relaxed breeze and views of the sea, an atmosphere is created here that is not found everywhere. Loose, lively and simply different from the usual pizza shops.

The pizza is fresh, really well made and just the thing to enjoy the moment. But the real highlight is the ambience – a place where you like to stay longer and feel the real Miami feeling.

Absolutely recommended for those who want to combine good food with a great atmosphere by the water. 🍕🌊

Disappointment

By Max-Leek |

Perhaps it is prettier in the evening, with the lights creating a more evocative atmosphere on the Miami pier. But in the morning it's very little. Tourist shops with nothing beautiful worth visiting.

Nice lively place.

By Nathalie R. |

We had a great time at Bayside Marketplace. Very exotic with the small port at the foot of the buildings.

Lively shopping area

By Celeste E |

There was something for everyone at the Bayside Marketplace! It was bustling with life and shopper's energy. The marketplace was a few blocks, short walk, from the hotel.

Bayside

By Rory James DOYLE |

Upmarket marina filled full of restaurants, Hard Rock Cafe, and bars and a marina full of boats. Good tours of Miami harbour from here.

Touristy and fun

By Momto3boyz |

Lively and fun. Right near the Port where all the cruise ships park. Plenty of shopping and restaurants to choose. Theresa Ferris wheel and boat cruises. Do thesp have d boar cruise for some adventure. $45 per person is expensive but if you want adventure pick it. There are lots of restaurant choose from. I've been
Here several times and have not had a bad meal. A nice touristy spot if that's your desire. Great for the whole family.

Nothing Worthwhile - Just AWFUl

By Patty B |

Maybe because I know what this place use to be many years ago that it was so off-putting!

I have never seen so much junk stores anywhere. What’s with all the cheap luggage places.?
Are they hoping for an unfortunate cruise ship passenger whose luggage was lost ??
Vendors trying to offer free cheap cosmetic samples to try and lure you in to their stores, don’t go, you’ll never get out.

All the restaurants did not look good. Just so disappointing on all levels. Levels the shops are on and level of quality.

What a waste of time just going there. The only thing this place is good for is getting some exercise walking.
That was almost a problem as a pretty large iguana was in the grass and I didn’t see it.
My husband did and steered me away.

If this is the #1 place in Miami out of 657 no less !! Then Miami is in serious trouble !!

Needs a remodel, bathrooms & less hustlers

By JunkBoxStuff |

½ ☆
I first came here to this marina location in the 1990s. Over the years I have come here about every 4 to 5 years or whenever we are passing this way for business or pleasure. Unfortunately over the past 10 years, even with some improvements with the observation wheel, some bay cruises, etc. this entire Bayside Marketplace has continued to decline.
There used to be a better quality of shops. Now there are flea market quality shops, overly inflated tourist priced trinkets, and honestly, it is more like going to Granada or the D.R. from a shore excursion with all the street hustlers trying to sell you stuff. Now add in the rude aggressive sales attempts for rides, trips, ... and it will make you do a U-turn. ... But, if it doesn't, just try to use the restroom. If there isn't a long line for the busted bathroom facilities, you can always use the dirty well-used hot & stinky port-a-potty boxes, IF the homeless people aren't using it for a wardrobe change.
Now the worn out mall is nothing exciting and desperately needs updating, but head to get an over-priced meal on the waterside.
When you're done, make sure to figure in the excessive parking garage fees you will have to pay for the time you just wasted here.
If you come in the evening you will get the extra un-treat to groups of local teens that don't appear to be able to buy a snack here, but do suspiciously lurk around like they are waiting for an opportunity to do something and run.

We don't go here anymore. Stay south of the Intercontinental or Hyatt Hotels and in the Brickell & City Center areas for a much better quality and fun time.

Noisy, crowded, expensive

By Lisa222567890 |

Noisy tourist trap. Expensive drinks. The kiosk sellers even rip you off when selling you a bottle of water. Went there to get a boat cruise. South beach is a much nicer area than this

A mixture of touristy stuff but also some great restaurants and shops

By psudino |

Ignoring all the tours and the chain stores, this place does have some charm. The main reason to go here IMO is to eat at Bacon Bitch. But there are also some shops here that are not chain that have some nice items. This is not a must visit place, but if nearby may be worth checking out.

Visit every time we are in Miami

By ggTXgal |

We always walk to Bayside Marketplace for dinner at Bubba Gump... a tradition for us! On this trip it was busier/more crowded than we remember it being in the past. Spring Break was probably part of the reason.

Pretty Place

By gesmpatt |

First time visiting Miami and I like it. It’s nice to just walk around or do some little shopping. It’s an open space area with pretty view of boats and ships so many things to see. I took sky views for $20+ / person and it’s worth it.

Bayside offers a lot - worth a couple of hours

By Marshall B |

Quite enjoyable for both the adults and teens. We had drinks at Pier 5, primarily because of the view of the musical events that take place right in front. One of the teens also had a (virgin) pina colada (in a real coconut) at Scoops Juice Bar. Both of these experiences were rather pricey but thoroughly enjoyed, and a great memory of Miami. Parking was not as bad as I had expected: it is done through an app, so be ready to deal with that using your iPhone. Area (daytime) seems pretty safe.

Bayside Funside

By Ramiro C |

Always as good as I remember. You have to go en the big Ferris wheel. It takes 15 minutes the ride. It’s 20 dollars the ticket. The you can enjoy a very good pizza at Lombardi’s restaurant. And if you want more party, try Fat Tuesday’s and Margarita Ville

Very cute! To see

By Gand |

It's already the second time we come back to this great outdoor mall, the first 10 years ago and I must say it's always very pleasant. Lots of shops, kiosks, restaurants and the iconic Hard Rock Café absolutely unmissable like the others around the world. Very impressive structure overlooking the sea with the Skyline behind. There is a Ferris wheel. Always very nice, to see, it is also the starting and arrival point of countless excursions both by sea and by land.

Very clean

By Grumpymichele |

The place was big but not too big and very well-kept; lots of choices of shopping but nothing too expensive, plenty of choices to eat. We took a ride on the Miami thriller which was fun but there are more choices if you want a water tour.

Lots to do.

By Wright |

If in Miami I would highly recommend. There is plenty to do, eat, drink, many places to shop, music, and plenty of tours..

Beautiful Shopping Experience

By tsol75 |

Great shopping experience.
Could use a food court with good options.
Was able to purchase some great gifts.

Good choice of shops

By jop694 |

Excellent shopping area. With market stalls. Doesn't open until 10.30am. Good choice of restaurants.

Lots of stalls selling tours, boat and bus trips.

There's so much here!

By phil-the-badger |

I was surprised how big this place was and how much there is here.
Plenty of tourist souvenir shops, clothes outlets, restaurants, bars, the skyview wheel and boat tours.
The only reason for not giving 5 stars is following the signs for the gents I ended up walking out the back of the mall, through clouds of weed to a portable toilet with no light in and no wash facilities. Actually, there might have been wash facilities but it was so dark in there that I couldn't see anything but by the time I walked through the clouds of weed to get there I didn't care anyway!

Bayside is a tourist trap

By TravisFarrell |

Wat too crowded. Very hot in the summer unless you are outside. Poor to no good food choices. Too many places blasting loud music for my taste. The Hard Rock Cafe is the best thing there, that says a lot about Bayside.

Stay away from Beyond the Soap Salon

By NaisyD |

I love visiting Bayside Marketplace when I come to Miami. Yes it’s a tourist attraction/trap but still lots to see and do.
This review is for Beyond the Soap which is located at the marketplace. I knew to keep walking when I was offered a free sample of lotion…knowing that is how they lure you in!
I agreed to allow the sales lady to apply the D’OR 24K Prestige eye cream to my puffy under eye area. The product worked in the store!!! I purchased a syringe of the eye serum and the product I purchased does not work like the product she demonstrated. Results supposedly last for a week (the product she applied did).
I applied the eye serum at home and it did absolutely nothing! I reapplied the next morning thinking I did something wrong and still nothing.
The product they sell you DOES NOT WORK like the product that was demonstrated.
The sales lady also offered to demonstrate “red light” therapy and I agreed to try it. Her colleague who was supposedly the salon owner demonstrated the red light products and tried to get me to purchase the hand wand red light therapy device for $15000. I refused and he kept dropping the price. He finally said I could have it for free if I would purchase 2 jars of the cream that he applied to the red light wand before he used it on my face. The cost for 2 jars of cream $5000. I again refused. I could tell he was getting frustrated with me but he continued to try to sell me products at discounted prices if I would agree to send before and after pictures and promote his products. I finally had to walk out of the salon because he was pressuring me to buy the products.
I met up with my friends after leaving the salon. My friend said while I was receiving the red light therapy she would go by the salon every 10 minutes or so to check to make sure I was okay (that I hadn’t been drugged or trafficked) at first the sales lady would say oh she’s fine and was nice. Towards the end when she realized that I wasn’t going to be making a high dollar purchase she was rude to her.

TOURIST CORNER TO SEE 1 X AND SEARCH 1 PLACE OUTSIDE

By deejayone |

I knew baysiide a few years back, it was our very friendly meeting point, today it became bullshit!! And the dingo is the Parking Award

ATTENTION BIG SCAM!!!
$40 FOR 1 HOURS OF PARKING!!!
AND IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PAY YOU GIVE THEM $20 IN BLACK..
REALLY DISAPPOINTED.

A place full of joy, restaurants and breathtaking views. Close to the Perez Art Museum. You can do everything on foot.

By Seaside515527 |

A perfect place to watch boats, listen to music and have fun with friends. There are always Happy Hours and boat trips. Nearby there are two museums, the Perez Art and the Science Museum. You do everything on foot.

To take a walk by the sea

By Andrea S |

I had last gone in Nov 2019 before the pandemic. The quality and variety of businesses decreased greatly. Anyway, it's worth taking a walk and eating by the sea. We ate at the Hard Rock Café which is not what it was either.

Bayside

Absolutely love visiting Bayside great restaurants and bars good shopping outlets nice views of the boats and water.Highly recommend

Sightseeing before Cruise

Hanging out before our cruise on Icon of the Sea !! Stayed close to port Miami. Close by place to visit. Get some Ice cream . Ride the skyview .

A place for tourists

By Max T |

This is the central point in downtown Miami for tourists. You can book different tours there with a selection of providers. The area is well maintained and clean. There are several souvenir shops, bars, restaurants and a huge observation wheel. The whole place is designed for the nearby cruise ship terminals and you will see a lot of passengers planning day tours to the everglades or key west. If you are visiting Miami for the first time like I did, this might be a place to start exploring the city. For more experienced travelers it might be a little too touristy. At sundown the place is more suited for party folks with loud music. Some boats with bars on board start here as well.
Be aware that because it is a place for tourists, the prices can be a little higher.

Not our cup of tea

By Marilee H |

Was busy and chaotic on a Sunday afternoon. Dropped off here during our Miami bus tour and it was our least favorite location. So glad we didn't stay at a hotel down in this area pre cruise. Hard to find a bathroom. Tourist trap and not very fun.

Short visit. Somewhat unremarkable

By SeosamhOC |

A popular open-air shopping and entertainment destination. You can find everything from clothing and accessories to jewellery and souvenirs. There is a variety of dining options, mostly casual eateries. There are a few bars.

Seems to be a popular destination for both tourists and locals (mostly tourists before / after cruising) with lively evening and night-time atmosphere.

If you happened to be nearby then it is convenience. I would not travel any distance to come here though.

A great stop for visitors

By Miranda T |

Great mix of stores from souvenir shops to well-known brand. I bought Miami-themed items for my family. Also watched street performance and live music. It was great!

STAY AWAY FROM BEYOND THE SOAP STORE! RUN!!!

By Joanna9851 |

STAY AWAY FROM BEYOND THE SOAP STORE! RUN!!!

Their products are basic items sold at excessively high prices, with prices inflated in-store. Their sales approach involves drawing you in, applying a cream that shows immediate effects, and then trying to sell you a $500 cream. The product you leave with is not the same one they applied during the demonstration. If you decline, they may reduce the price by half, but these products are realistically worth no more than $20. Don’t become their next target. The sales associates are trained to pressure customers into purchases and often move between stores. All sales are final, and they do not accept returns—once you pay, your money is gone for good.

This is their strategy:

High-pressure sales: Salespeople aggressively pushing customers to make an immediate purchase.

Misleading promises: Sales representatives claiming that products will provide dramatic, instant results or that they are being used by celebrities like Oprah.

"No-refund" policy: Failure to clearly disclose a strict "no-refund" policy, which makes it nearly impossible to return the product if it doesn't work or causes an adverse reaction.

Bogus discounts: Offering large discounts to make a highly inflated price seem like a good deal.

In-store manipulation: Using specialized mirrors or lighting to make it appear that the products are having a dramatic, immediate effect during a demonstration.

PLEASE STAY AWAY AND DONT RUIN YOUR TRIP TO MIAMI.

Lunch before boarding cruise ship

By Janet |

Shopping, excursion area near cruise Port. Most restaurants/shops don't open till 10 or 11. Good place to hang out before cruise boarding. About 6 places to eat, nice beach clothing shops. Boating excursions also leave from this dock. Nice view of bridges, ships, Key Biscayne from here.
Too far to walk to ship from here. Take a $10 uber or free shuttle.

Alien experience

By SEAHORSESURFER |

Perhaps one of the greatest tourist traps I’ve been in while traveling the states.
It’s fairly close to the cruise ships, so perhaps why it gets visited a lot, but it was extraordinarily loud, crowded, unoriginal, and really devalued the waterfront location.

Boring and tourist trap

By Sumit K |

Pretty boring and subpar shops. Ferris wheel is alright and then there are some tourist trap bars. Not worth it if u have a young baby

MANIC

By David S |

Completely manic with so much going on and people rushing off in every possible direction. My wife and I stopped off as part of a larger tour of the amazing city of Miami.

Good for a short visit

By Leo N |

The Marketplace is under construction and there are no restrooms for males. I have always loved going there but right now it is crowded as they work on the construction. The boat rides are still there. There is also some nice shops and places to eat.

Excellent for walking

By Nairo |

The Bayside Marketplace is a small open-air shopping mall located by the bay, with shops, restaurants and several souvenir joints ideal for visitors to Miami. In addition, it has a large observation wheel (Skyviews Miami Observation Wheel) from which you can enjoy a spectacular view of the city and the port.

Although it is a very touristy place, it is really worth touring. The atmosphere is very pleasant, with live music at certain times, sea views and a great gastronomic offer to enjoy both day and night.

It is a perfect place to walk calmly, eat something, take pictures or just enjoy the oceanfront atmosphere, definitely a must stop if you are visiting downtown Miami.

Great place to eat by the Biscayne Bay or buy souvenirs

By ElsaRosaLopes |

Great place to buy souvenirs or eat near the Biscayne Bay. Also you can take a boat tour to the Famous Mansions or take the Hip on Hip Off Bus to go around Miami and Miami Beach. You also have the metro mover very close. The only con is the parking which is very expensive.

Close everything very early

By Milvita |

It's nice, but everything closes very early. We arrived at 8:30 pm and many businesses were already closed. We went to eat at Bubba's at 9 pm and after a while they started to close. We left at 10. The place was completely closed and empty and they were waiting for us. And parking is very expensive: 2 hours of parking costs 20 USD.

Great way to spend a day.

By Allen B |

This place is loaded with shops, kiosks, food vendors, and restaurants. Do a little browsing, some shopping, grab some snacks and drinks, and enjoy the view of the beautiful marina and city skyline.

Marketplace for tourists

By Timothy R |

Shopping place for tourists. Waterfront shops with a variety of souvenirs. Paid parking garage. The Skyviews observation wheel is at the end of the building.

In the center of Miami, an unmissable place to be visited.

By Cláudio D |

Full of shops, stalls, restaurants, including the Hard Rock Cafe. Nice place to stroll and shop.

Worth a short visit

By mb5678 |

We stayed in Brickell and were able to take the MetroMover here. This is a major tourist place, crowded and LOUD, catered to the cruise ship crowd. There are a few restaurants and bars, tons of little shops, and of course great views of the waterfront. We took the Thriller Speedboat tour and loved it!

The biggest let-down was the difficulty in finding working restrooms. We struggled to find them because the signs were not accurate, and then we did find some they were those separate little "comfort stations" that were filthy with no lights. ICK.

I may go back in maybe 5 or 6 years

By hectorfrommiami |

I have not been at Bayside maybe for 4 or 5 years or more. The place is just fine, it is going through a renovation, and some stores are closed, as it is part of the top floor on one area. It is still a nice place to go for a couple of hours. I was not aware that the big Ferris Wheel there does not open until 1 or 2 PM. In general it is a place to relax and have a nice time until you have to pay for parking, because most of the scanners are not reading the bar code for the parking ticket, and not having an actual person handling this creates a big delay for some drivers, like it happened to me yesterday because my ticket was not read and I had a line of cars after mine honking until at last I was able to pay. By the way, I think it is cheaper taking Uber to go to Bayside. I paid $30 for about 3 hours or less that I was there

Unfortunately not was it used to be, has deteriorated

By Henrik L |

Bayside marketplace and the marina has been one of our favorite places every time we have visited Miami. Unfortunately this last time it has deteriorated.
Several of the stores and restaurants we liked has closed, such as the Disney Store and Hooters. The entire second floor is now some kind of dinosaur exhibit.
I can't put my finger on it, but the cozy feeling and the place where we could stroll and browse stores for hours seems to be gone. The new stores that has opened didn't appeal as much to us.
That the central area was closed for refurbishment was also a factor of course.

Perhaps covid hit it and caused the changes. Hopefully it will regain it strength.

Out absolut favorites are still here though, Bubba Gump, Hard Rock Café and the US Polo Association store.

Very nice walk

By Alejandro0203 |

It is a very nice place to visit both day and night. At night it is most striking for all the lights of the place and the view of Miami.
Many restaurants with live music and all kinds of businesses to hang out.

Great stop for tours, shopping, gifts, food and entertainment

By SmallTownBuckeye |

Loved the variety of tours, shops, gifts, and food.
Live entertainment was very good.
Highly recommend.

Avoid unless you like anonymous places

By Isobel W |

Just an enormous shopping and retail place. No real character. Very noisy with competing music systems
We only went there to get on cruise boat

Its EYE catching!

By whoknewsogood |

You must go to the IRIS Photo shop/booth. They take a photo of the Iris of your eye and blow it up into art. We loved this. My husband, daughter, and I got this done it is so neat to see. They even have different patterns to change it a little.

Fun place to people watch.

By chrissnelson |

Caught the boat for Millionaire Row and then had a mango and coconut drink at the kiosk, super yummy. Make sure to have a mask to board the boat.

Waste of time

By JDJackson |

This place has seen better days. It's a tourist trap with lousy options for shopping and food. We wanted to enjoy our time here but it just wasn't to be. The entire place needs a reno. And those restaurants need a makeover too.

Best empanada

By Nsreen A |

Beautiful place to shop and have fun. Yummy foods the empanada was sooo good 10/10. a lot of fun activities to enjoy. Their is a lot to do

So many fun things to see and do

By Angie S |

There is so much to see and do in this area. The restaurants are good, the atmosphere is fun and there are plenty of excursion activities to book right at the Bayside Marketplace.

cool market place

By jastine r |

Cool Marketplace in downtown Miami which has a lot of stores and opportunities to shop. You just have to be aware of the touristic prices so Always double check the prices of the products in different stores. Chances are high that you will get it cheaper if you take more time. It is good for chilling and also for trying new restaurants- the staff is sometimes not the fastest but other than that a real cool spot and worth spending half a day.

I expected more

By APSS |

I expected much more from everything I read on the internet.
Miami is expensive.
Honestly, we have much better shopping centers in our country.

Fun Times

By Ken C |

What a fun place to spend a few hours. Lots to see and do. It was close to our Holiday Inn. Lots of restaurants, bars and shops. We were there on a Sunday and a small market selling food was operating.

Pleasant stop

By Rokenya |

After visiting Miami this is a place to relax and rest. In continuity with Bayside Park, here you will find the Ferris wheel and a whole series of places to drink or eat something, perhaps enjoying the view of the bay and the marina. Obviously, there is no shortage of tourist shops and corners where you can book all types of excursions.
Pleasant.

Many things to do and places to eat

By MV |

There were many restaurants places to see this is where you can catch to do your boat outings without English many restaurants to eat at and I loved the opportunities to shop at the Mini shops that were at this area also a plus very close to the train station

Holiday top

By veneruso |

A place to spend a holiday and recover some energy with the family , average prices nearby and there are also some very good restaurants.

Use to be a nice place

By tron38us |

Have been traveling to MIA since many years ago and Bayside use to be a very pleasant spot to spend the evening... lots of shops, good restaurants and bars, live music and nice people enjoying everything. This last time, after COVID blackout, something happened and Bayside went down in quality and acceptance in general terms.

Worth more than one visit

By Mostafa A |

It is a very nice place lot of fun and entertainment Also a lot of restaurants and cafes with variable cuisines we visited every time we are in Miami

Bayside

By Andrea R |

Place that definitely if you go to Miami, you have to know. It's outdoors. He has a very cute secret win and with the same promotions as others. Slipper premises. I bought Nike. An Argentine grill where I had dinner, well, but it's a free fork which I'm not interested in. They charge you 45 dol all inclusive(wine too)
Giant wheel to go up for 20 bucks. My daughters loved it. And bars for drinks watching the boats.

Bayside Marketplace is Special !

By DannyWasserman |

We stopped by the marketplace for the afternoon and were pleasantly surprised. Lots of culture, lots of local cuisine, and loads of shops to peruse your shopping needs. Its an amazing place to shop, take in the locals, see the beautiful oceanfront and large cruise ships that are bountiful.

Relaxing atmosphere!

By Ingeborg56 |

It is easy and it feels very safe to walk around here with shops and stalls selling mostly artifacts with Miami written on them and restaurants, bars and icecream parlors etc. around. There are also lots of opportunities to buy tickets for Hop on and Hop Off bustours and short boattrips, and they have their starting point from here so that is convenient. There are lots of benches to sit down inside "mall" and there are restrooms, The reason I am not too happy with the place is that I found the shops were boring, - they were mostly selling the same stuff. The big thing is the big wheel where one can get a very nice view of Miami from the air.

Fun

By Kevin |

Bayside was spectacular so many different things to do around the area I would recommend to go as family

Awesome little shopping center with yummy food and activities to enjoy!

By Lisa A |

We stopped there on the city tour to take the boat ride which tours around Star Island. Both of those were fun. We ate at a wonderful Cuban restaurant. Lots of stores and shops also! The Ferris Wheel is also a neat attraction.

Great place

Lovely place

By Englishpc |

A definite must for your stay in Miami lovely to wander around, catch a light lunch, and a book about ride

Lots of Restaurants and Shops Pre-Cruise

By gefilte63 |

Having to check out of a hotel by 11 and not get to the boat earlier than 2:30 left us with some time to kill near the Port of Miami. This mall is literally at the entrance to the port. There are plenty of chain stores, but also some local boutiques and souvenir shops. Lots of restaurants to choose from as well.
I'm not sure that this is the #1 thing to do in Miami, but on a nice day it is good to pass a few hours, do some shopping, and grab lunch.

Shopping and food on the bay

By Pyramidion |

Good shopping; clothing, jewelry etc. Great variety of food offerings. Highly recommend Cuban and seafood platters. Super coffee. A day on the water with ample on site parking.

Not good

By Wombling_Free_7548 |

I am bemused why this has such a high rating. It’s an outdoor shopping mall (so no air con) with some very tacky shops. And the restrooms are portaloos.

Not worth the trip

By Marybeth S |

I would not recommend this place. Shopping was limited food choices not great. We headed to Collins Ave and Ocean blvd and had a much nicer experience.

Loud touristy and best avoided

By Michael L |

We went because the bay tour boats all leave from Pier 5 behind the marketplace.

Loud is not saying enought.
Filled with "schlock"

You can do better

Tourist shopping centre

By ab Moi |

A tourist mall with its share of noisy junk and non-typical shops. Only if you are looking for a souvenir anything but artisanal.

Baysiade

By jonathan b |

Really nice atmosphere, music and shops.
Lively bar with a good time facing the boats.
We can also eat.
For a visit to Miami I recommend

BAYSIDE MARKETPLACE

By Silvia S |

The tour through Bayside Marketplace was nice, it is a place with shops and restaurants near the bay where there is a pier and you can take excursions, I found it quieter than other times we passed by there, perhaps because we went in the morning and stayed until 2 pm approximately, it has paid parking, on site. And also in front there is a public parking lot that pays 5 dollars an hour and is done by phone.

Cool place to visit

By Dabulz |

Nice place to visit if you’re looking for something to do, plenty of little shops and tons of food choices. Not a lot of parking close by.

Fun open air tourist trap.

By BigMerk |

A 2 storey open-air complex comprising many tourist-oriented shops and restaurants, the Marketplace is located on the waterfront. It seems to be a popular place for city tours to start as well as many water-based tours. It’s clean throughout and well worth a look as a tourist.

Fun for a quick visit

By joannala |

I went to Bayside Marketplace to catch a boat tour. Since I was there, I wandered around the marketplace. It is a nice place to wander. One side is the typical shops you'll find in any mall. The other side is little stalls of touristy knick knacks. The restaurants there are all chain type restaurants, I left there to find something more original and I found a great place so was very happy I didn't stick around there to eat.

Nice place to spend a couple of hours

By Deryck G |

After being bitterly disappointed with the Hop On Bus we decide to kill some time at the Bayside Marketplace.
It was lively and interesting with lots of good places to eat.
Well worth a visit.

overhyped mall

By paula s |

This was an overhyped outdoor mall with nothing uniquely "Miami" about it. It could have been anywhere in the world.

Amazing place absolutely beautiful views

By Keshia E |

We came to Miami a day early before our cruise and looked for something to do for the evening and we found Bayside. This place is amazingly beautiful. Shops, food, minor attractions and just a pretty view of the water. Check this place out!!

Very nice.

By Belkis F |

Fantastic , very cute to walk with a couple, there is also a family atmosphere, live Latin music, the tour or divine yacht ride.

Tourist trap with a Ferris Wheel

By MissyPA71 |

Don’t get me wrong, you can park, walk, eat, drink and do a boat tour. But the overall vibe is touristy and some of the independent vendors are pushy all while the food is overpriced, the drinks are watered down and the stores are mediocre fair (crocs/Silver jewelry stores/gelato) so feels definitely catered to the cruise crowd. You can hang out at the public park along the water which is actually nice, but, you have to get through all the stores and pass the Ferris Wheel to actually get to it. Doubt that’s an architectural coincidence, lol.

There is an old, a little bit dirty place for feeling the local street flavor. Short trip at day is more then enough. Hope, nighttime is more attractive for fun.

Even bustling on Wednesday

Lotta options for food and buying stuff. Lotta different languages in the halls and shops. A festive, family filled afternoon.

Such a fun stop!

By Heather T |

Was in Miami for one night prior to a cruise and was looking forward to exploring this destination near my hotel. It exceeded my expectations and I even watched an outdoor concert. Such a fun stop you have to check out!

Cool shopping mole which I suggest to remain open also after dinner for evening shopping.

By marytheglobetrotter |

Cool shopping mole which I suggest to remain open also after dinner for evening shopping. There are also cool places where to eat or have a snack.
