What a wonderful place! You are able to drive through the wildlife park and look at all of the amazing animals they have, and once on the property you can drive back through as many times as you want (just in case you missed something on the first go round) The zoo is located in the same complex as well. It's a bit smaller than most, but still a great place to visit. They have a nice gift shop, and dining as well. They do an educational program for the kids, bringing out a variety of different animals to show and talk about. Great for all ages!

This was a bit pricey for our experience. The drive thru took us about 40 minutes, even driving 10 miles per hour. We did see some animals, but it's far from how it's explained. Once you drive thru, you can park and walk around the 'zoo' part, again, a little disappointing. Kids will like it though. They do have several places to sit with food, drinks and snacks available. They have a good gift shop and the restaurant was fun. Even though we went on Saturday, it wasn't too crowded. The staff are great, just a little slow.

Loved it! A great way to spend time with family ! Kids loved it. The 3 pm show was awesome with the birds, porcupine and racoon. Absolutely will recommend.

Very nice park set in the Ponderosa pines of Northern Arizona. Restaurant is amazing and great selection at the bar including hot drinks like a Fire Chai tea.

Nice park, drive-tru safari is a bit disappointing, thought to see more animals. Park that you do on foot, is very nicely decorated. The grizlies were fantastic. Not cheap: $165 for 5, no daytime activity, more like a couple of hours.

If I could leave 0 stars. I would.
They ruined my honeymoon/family vacation. We were in town one day and I bought tickets online. There was a car accident that made us have to take a detour so we were later arriving than expected, we got to the gate at 3:59, one car ahead of us blocked the gate and they wouldn't move out of the way until 4:00 &the gates started closing. We called the help desk and they said oh well you're late we can't let you in. I was there before 4 o clock! Your gates cut me off before I could get the truck through the gate and I was essentially told f you. They said we can't let you in it's after 4. And even better customer service yet, they refused a refund at all.
We're from out of town, and will never be back here to use the tickets. So I just was taken for $60 they won't refund. my honeymoon is ruined, and by 3year old is crying not understanding why we can't go in after we promised him we would. That was beyond messed up and you can't imagine the pain im feeling right now dealing with a heartbroken child and mourning that my only honeymoon will forever be tainted by this experience. Absolutely disgusting how that woman answering your phone handled this.

This was awesome- I drove through twice! I should’ve done this when I lived in Arizona. I loved the experience- immersive 💜

Driving thru the enclosures ,actually with these wild animals, is rare experience ,for sure.
The walking (self guided) "tour" is good as well. Many of the animals are not common in
average City zoos. We (our group of 4 couples) have visited Bearizona 4 times in recent,
annual trips to Route 66 and the Grand Canyon. A "must see" for all animal and nature
lovers. And everyone else..

Bearizona finished second only to the Grand Canyon on our recent Arizona vacation. The entire family enjoyed themselves. The drive through wildlife viewing is interesting and it’s a great way to see the animals up close. However, I would argue that the walk-thru park is more fun. No expense was spared in constructing this habitat. They offer various animal encounters and have thoughtfully planned the layout. Recommended.

I would highly recommend this place was unsure because we don't have kids but even great for adults well worth the money and don't miss out if your in Arizona not overly packed in April entered park at 12 noon

My family and I spent a week in Arizona seeing so many wonderful, beautiful places. Bearizona was by far the highlight of our trip.
We are huge animal lovers, bears in particular, and the other destinations could not compete with what Bearizona has to offer in this regard. My family and I had been anticipating the drive through bear exhibit for over a year, so much so that we were worried it would be a disappointment. It ended up being everything we hoped for and more!
Our first drive through, almost every type of animal was awake and walking around. Upon entering the bear exhibit, we noticed one swimming around in a small pond. Then we started seeing bears everywhere! Some were in trees, others deeper in the woods, some started crossing the roadways and investigating the cars. On several occasions, an attendant who was parked nearby had to drive closer to chase the bears away from tourists’ vehicles when they lingered too long.
After our first drive through, we explored the walking portion of the park. Several wonderful exhibits, including more bears! We arrived just in time for a special feeding of the bears, and had the chance to toss them apples and oranges. My first time feeding a bear!
All the animals appeared to have spacious and clean enclosures and they all appeared to be well cared for and healthy.
After walking for a while, the rain set in, so we hopped back in the car and did two more rounds on the drive through (there is no limit once you pay). The bears were even more active the second and third time around, with several young ones chasing each other up, down, and around trees! We had so much fun watching the play, and they mostly ignored the line of cars (with the exception of a couple curious bears who couldn’t help but touch a few cars as they moved across the roadway).
I could go on and on, but suffice to say that this is most definitely a worthwhile attraction if you love animals and are anywhere near the area. 100% recommend!

What a hidden gem! This place is not just doing some amazing work with their existing rescue animals but has amazing plans to continue growing. They are all about safety and following rules but the natural beauty of these animals and how close we came to being in their world was unbelievable. Truly this place needs more publicity cause their mission is worth every bit.

Great wildlife park! We live in Flagstaff and like to take visiting relatives here anytime we can. Animals are well cared for, park is super clean, all staff is very friendly and informative. We will continue to support Bearizona!

Very nice moment with all the family. If you have missed to see bears in Yosemite Park, stop here ! But there is a lot of variety of animals including a great black panther, bisons,…
The park is very well organised and offers good accommodations.

Don’t go on a hot summer day, the animals will be laying under the trees sleeping in the shade. $90 for a 15 minute drive through. When it’s hot, it’s uncomfortable and not as enjoyable to do the waking portion.

Incredibly fun place. Can’t imagine anyone not enjoying this. Bears at wolves walking up to your car!
Take the drive a couple times during the day. Walk around the village, have lunch and enjoy the shopping. Lots of animals there too. Never had so much fun and we live near one of the worlds greatest zoos. Bearizona was one of the top highlights of our vacation!

Go early in the morning when the bears are walking around and animated. Take your time driving, they are really a sight to see.

You can see some native animals. Since the enclosures are not very big, you can find the animals easily. Especially because they are fed near the road

Drive-through enclosure and separate walk-through zoo. Thankfully, not commercial, like a lot of other parks.

because of the snow, we have not seen that many animals which is obvious,,the gift shop was very good we did not stay that long has we had back to driving

Unique experience if you love animals. This is not like a typical zoo for the most part. You drive through and see animals in their natural habitats. After that, you park and walk through a more traditional outdoor zoo-style environment. Overall, worth the visit. Plan around 2-3 hours to check it all out. Some people whizzed through in less time but missed seeing animals doing cool stuff. Conveniently accessed from Williams, AZ. If you are a Jack Hannah's "Into the Wild" show fan, check out Episode 903 Bearizona. This is how I became aware of this place and so glad I was able to visit.

Bearizona is an absolute hidden gem of an experience. Nestled in the forests between Flagstaff and Williams is a safari park like no other I’ve been to before.
We booked the VIP Bus Tour, and I can’t recommend it enough. We started off with welcome cocktails before going backstage to meet a porcupine, sloth and armadillo up close. Then hopping onto the penitentiary bus with our tour guide Norm, for an amazingly comedic and informative tour of the safari park, getting up close with the bears and wolves, feeding the wild bison and much more.
Then afterwards we went round the walking sections meeting Bears, raccoons, bobcats, jaguars and many more - even getting to feed the bears and otters!! And then on to eating fab food and sipping on cocktails at the bar/restaurant, indulging in delicious ice creams, watching the live bands playing on stage and exploring the huge gift shop.
An amazing day out for all and well worth the trip out.

This was a fun excursion, something different to do when visiting Williams / Flagstaff.
We started with the drive through portion, then finished with a casual walking tour. It's smaller than a typical zoo in terms of animals, but they do have lots of bears to see.
It was fun and nice to be outdoors awhile in cold weather with snow flurries. They are adding new things too, so another visit in future.

Bearizona is one of my favorite attractions during my Arizona trip! The park is divided into a self-driving road area and a walking park, designed cleverly and safely so that visitors can enjoy wildlife at close proximity without disturbing their lives. In the roadway area, you can see the crying of the wolf, the sunshine of the bulls, the black bears playing water bathing, both exciting and interesting; the hiking area has a parent-child interaction area, waterfall, leopard, fox and other small animals. The souvenir shops in the park are also refined, especially the BigBer Gift Shop, a variety of unique little items worth collecting. What impressed me most was the animal show, the flight performance of eagles and special birds, both wonderful and educational. Overall, Bearizona is more than just an ordinary zoo, but a perfect trip that combines education, interaction and close proximity to nature and is worth a visit, whether it’s family, couples or self-driving travel!

On our way to the Grand Canyon and did this, was so much fun. We got to feed the otters :) and walk around/drive through tour

The park is wonderful, most of the animals are abandon as babies unable to return to the wild. I was able to see the staff feed many different animals. They have bears, wolfs, deer, one moose, donkey and bobcats.

This wildlife park is divided into two sections. Both are must see. The first is a drive-through with plenty of land for animals to Rome. The second is a walk-through wildlife park. There was plenty of food and drink available for refreshment and all staff people we spoke with were very friendly. The highlight for us were the grizzly bear cubs

We had an amazing time visiting Bearizona. My Kids and Grandkids loved it. Lots of animals, lots of information about the animals. They loved the bears and the otters were so fun to watch. I highly recommend taking the family. We did a quick weekend trip and wished we had more time there.

I'm not a fan of people making money off of captive wildlife. Wildlife is not for our entertainment or financial gain....

We checked this zoo out on the way back from the Grand Canyon. It’s nice, but a little expensive for what you get. We didn’t see any animals in the first three enclosures, but the wolves and bears made up for it. The bird show was informative and entertaining. Overall a decent experience.

What a gem! This was such a great little park, the unlimited drive around to see the different animals and then the park itself with all the habitats and animals. We were able to catch a excellent bird show and even feed the sea otters. All the staff we encountered could not have been more helpful, knowledgeable, & friendly. The park itself is clean and very-well maintained. The dining room is gorgeous & no expense has been spared, the food was good to boot. The gift shop is awesome, we picked up- quality sweatshirts and souvenirs. Met a lovely cashier at the gift shop we spoke at length- she he has worked at Bearizona since the beginning and now works part time, not because she has to, but because she loves it and appreciates and respects the owner so much. Just the way she spoke about the ower, it was so good to hear how he respects and treats his employees. Loved Bearizona even more after hearing about him. This was a great day.- and I know we will be back as our daughter is in her last year at NAU.

Always wanted to stop and visit. Overpriced and not a lot of animals. Lots of food and huge gift shops. Most animals were in their dens

The drive through shows you up close and personal views of animals you may not see active in a zoo. They roam around, seem relaxed and not caged in. It's nice to see even the wolves walking around. The three new wolf pups were playful and running around like we weren't even there. To see the buffalo so close, less than 2 feet from your car, is amazing. When you're done driving through, there's a walk through. They let you drive through as much as you want on one admission. Staff is always sweet and patient, prices are family friendly. A lot of photo opportunities!!

I was pleasantly surprised with Bearizona. There's a drive around area where we saw all kinds of animals: goats, big horn sheep, deer, reindeer, wolves, bison, of course bears, and more. There's also an area to walk into like a zoo and see more animals including porcupines, badgers, foxes, racoons, skunks, jaguars, elk, and more. After we left the walk in area we drove around the drive thru area again. I would highly recommend it if you're visiting the Williams area.

Bearizona is lucky to have Norm in their employment. Norm created a memory for us and our daughter at the otter exhibit.
My daughter wanted to feed the otters, but she wasn't brave enough to ask for the fish. So Norm came over and gave her the fish to feed the otter, and she's been glued to that exhibit ever since.
Norm, you are awesome!

It was great to be able to see and enjoy the animals within the comfort of our car. The walk thru area was also great with all the added information about the animals posted.

Ok this place is so cool. Plenty of wildlife freely roaming around. Plenty of time and opportunity to take pictures and videos! You can go around more than once if you think you missed something. Staff is friendly

I went in with preconceived ideas that it would be hokey and cheesy. It was wonderful. If you have kids, you should take them there. The animals have a lot of room to roam and be animals. The premises were well maintained. I would recommend it to anyone that has a few hours to spare.

Stopped here on the way to a Grand Canyon, and really enjoyed seeing the deer, bears and wolves. Drive round in your car and see the animals up close to your car.
Children will love the experience as well as adults.

I was expecting to see more animals for the price we paid. It was nice that we got to walk through after our drive through. The kids wanted to see more animals. I was kind of disappointed.

We were just driving by on the way to Winslow when we saw the sign and decided to check it out. We really enjoy wildlife and visited both Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks this year. While we were fortunate to see bears in both NPs, they were a bit far off. so we thought maybe see them closer in Bearizona. And sure enough! They have around 40 very cute healthy appearing black bears that are easy to see and photograph along the drive through road. In addition, there were other animals that one can see far away in Glacier and Yellowstone: mountain goats and big horn sheep again right along the road. We also saw a couple wolves (but maybe a different race than the ones at Yellowstone); these were labeled "tundra wolves". Some unusual white (cream color) bison and mule deer stag walking along the road, again great photo ops.
There is also a walking part that we did not have time to see so we'll have to go back!

It was a fun place. I'll never forget the black bear that ambled in front of our vehicle, allowing me and hubby to capture that moment on video. You won't get lost here and while there's lots of walking involved (where the smaller animals are), there are spots in the park for you to rest. I enjoyed the souvenir shop but not the prices (but hey, that's to be expected).

I wish I listened to the reviews It sounds cool and marketed well but really a waste of money. Many closed exhibits and napping animals hiding Maybe if it was priced per vehicle more reasonably and you happen to hit it at just the right time of animal activity it would be ok..but not worth leaving Sedona for. (Kids ages 9 and 15- 9 year old liked and wanted to go but got bored fast) $90 for and hour or so was a waste

The conditions and behavior of The two jaguar brothers – Nacho and Libre is very sad. People tapping the window making disturbing sounds and faces at the jaguars
There were cubs and and three orphaned grizzly bears saddens me to learn the devastating effect of humans on wildlife. But you can help by raised awareness and don’t buy a ticket.
Please don’t support animal abuse. Look at the following link for more information.
Seams that the owners are animal abusers “PETA Alerts Park to Recipients’ Illegal Bear Hunts, Failure to Provide Animals With Adequate Veterinary Care, Incident of Bear Cub Beating, and More..”

Absolutely love this place! Husband has bought me a year pass the last 3 years for my birthday because I love going so much. The most incredible staff works here and so much to learn. It is so obvious everyone including the owners love the animals and want the best for them.

Took a trip to the Grand Canyon, on our way out heading to Sedona we stopped. Was a great quick drive through. We saw a lot of bears and many other animals. I highly recommended stopping in if you in the area.

We were doing a road trip through Arizona and came across this place by accident. It ended up being the highlight of our vacation! The price is $30 but it is totally worth it. For the first part you drive through and see bears, wolves, reindeer, and other animals up close and personal. Just keep your windows rolled up for some of them and DON'T feed them! The second half is a walk through section where you see fox, jaguars, and other animals. And of course they have a huge gift shop. We had such a blast here that I would consider driving all the way back to Arizona to see this again!

Bearizona, WONDERFUL place. We were there at opening and was WOWED at the gate. It's worth the money!! If I lived anywhere in Arizona I would have an annual pass. We were able to see the bears eat, listen to a wolf howl even my son at 21 said, we should go back in the winter and watch the bears. We are planning another trip back that way again this year. Worth a long weekend and 6 hour drive a few times a year!

Cool drive-thru zoom style attraction with lots of cute animals to see. Bears, wolves, Bison, raindeer, mules and other animals in their Fort Bearizona area.

Don't listen to the other reviews this place was Amazing. The animals are well kept and the owner goes all out for his animals. Yes it is like a zoo, but its not one that is sad where the animals look like they want to be anywhere but there. When I drove around, I saw that the animals were having a great time. There were several bears in the water (yes they have a pool) and they were splashing around and eating their food. They didn't seem bothered by the cars. There are two parts a driving portion and a walking portion both are well maintained and clean.
The bears/ bear cubs, sea otters, and jaguars were my favorite part!!!!
Yes it is a little pricey to get in, but they need the money in order to maintain the park and be able to maintain the lifestyle of their animals needs.
I think this is a fun thing to do when you have nothing else planned or when the weather is too hot to be walking around outside.

We drove through twice and each time saw something new. All of the animals are well cared for by a very committed staff. We also walked through and saw many other animals and learned about porcupines in the live demonstration. In the walk through area you must visit Rosco, a black bear that was rescued. Very handsome and adorable!! Highly recommended for couples, families and solo trips.

One of the coolest places on earthhhhhhhh!! I’m gonna visit Bearizona for the rest of my life. The driving tour is one of the coolest experiences ever, and the zoo itself is absolutely amazing. A bit of a warning though, if you enter the petting zoo you won’t be able to bring yourself to leave for hours and hours cus you’ll love the goats so much!

I was disappointed didn’t think
For the cost it was worth it. Yes we saw the bears, wolfs etc. but driving through slowly only took 30 minutes. $90 for 3 people. I would recommend it for younger kids.

Way to expensive (108.00 for 4 in one car)
Not sure if the animals are drugged or what but they all looked pretty lethargic

We were able to see all of the animals in the park while driving through, aside from one section. We drove through when we got there, then we drove through again before we left. They were much more active when we were leaving, and the bears were an arms length away from our vehicle! Also saw the animals that were inside the park, and went to feed the otters. That was awesome! Highly recommend it if you are into bears!

We had longed to visit here for many years and finally got a chance to go. We heard that going early is recommended but we arrived mid-morning. I recommend driving through multiple times as you can catch the animals being fed, napping, playing, etc.
Your ticket let's you continue to drive through as long as you don't leave the park.
We also enjoyed the zoo despite its small size. Unfortunately, due to COVID the shows were not running. However, the keepers did bring out some of the animals for some up close views. The kids really enjoyed it, especially the Jaguars snapping at them (next to the glass enclosure)

This park was so nice with the drive thru seeing the animals and also being able to get of you car and explore other animals around the park. Nice scenery and very well maintained with a very nice gift shop and restaurant. A must to do if you are in the area!!!

We have been through some drive through zoos before but never have we been able to be so up close and personal with wolves and bears- very cool.

We love visiting Bearazona. It's such a unique and fun experience! You drive through many animal habitats to see the animals up close. Most of the habitats you can drive through with your windows down and you can stop and take pictures from your vehicle. The exceptions are the bear habitats and the wolf habitats, for obvious reasons. You're able to drive the path through as many times as you like. When you're finished, you can park and enter the walking portion. There you can see more animals like otters, foxes, porcupine, raccoons and more! There is a petting zoo inside where you can get up close and personal with the goats, turkeys and the like. There's also a restaurant, some food and beverage carts, as well as a large gift shop full of awesome souvenirs. I highly recommend this for all ages!

My grandkids** {& their parents!} & I enjoyed BeArizona immensily. . . it was an especially fun adventure in the late-year snow. **ages 3-9, perfect! It was a highlight of our trip [including the Polar Express experience!]. Highly recommend, & happy to be able to support such an awesome place.

We stopped by on a whim as we drove by on our way to the Grand Canyon. We saw lots of animals and were able to drive through it in a decent amount of time. The kids in the vehicle behind us were standing up and looking out their sun roof. They were so fun to see because they were having such a great time.

Bearizona is absolutely amazing. Workers friendly and helpful. Drive through and walk through areas both a must. You will get close to animals that you never imagined. Clean and cute. Extra exhibits and shows done all day long. Worth every penny you pay.

WOW! Animals here are clearly loved and cared for--we watched large numbers of bears playfully swim and climb trees. Exceeded our expectations for a wildlife park. We live in Northern Arizona and will definitely return here with out of town visitors. Well done Bearizona!

Excellent side trip! Lots of animals we hadn’t seen before. Admission price is fair. We went when they first opened on a Monday morning so the place wasn’t crowded and we were able to take our time looking at the animals.

Fantastic place to go, all the animals up close and friendly, especially with the grizzly Bears also had a walk-through zoo along way with the drive-through very affordable could go around as many times as you wanted to go would greatly recommend will go back

Great way to enjoy the animals habitat close up, from the comfort of your car.
We would definitely do it again.

We’ve visited here before in 2016 but for some reason I thought many improvements have been made and fell in love with Bearizona again. There’s so much to see and do and so peaceful and relaxing.
My sister, visiting from Guam was the reason we took this trip this time. She just retired from Teaching after 30 years.
She and I in Arizona! Amazing place to take her during covid. No contact as you remain in your car.
Approximately $25 per person.
There are a lot of bears. I would suggest waiting til about 1:30 to see the animals awake. We started through here at 10 am and some animals were out. We went to the walk about zoo and came back through the drive thru at about 1:30-2:30. You are ok to drive through 2 times as long as you don’t leave the park. It was a full day of exploring! There is a restaurant and coffee house as well as a huge gift shop. Best place is Williams for the whole family. The BEARS are spectacular. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend this place. Military discount was given so thank you!

Doesn't disappoint. Go early in the morning. We did the drive thru twice and got the best experience on the 1st loop before the animals retreated a little more. Bears were walking the streets and napping in trees so don't forget to look up too.

I have a 13 and 14 year old. They loved it. The drive through was just the right length. We were not bored and the animals were really close. The walk through was even better. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The staff bring out several small animals, porcupine and skunks, and several birds and introduce them to guests. The birds literally fly right by you. The bears in the walk through were youngsters and very active- we could have watched them for hours.

Best drive view for bears I’ve been through. Buffalo, elk & others also great. But walk through part was amazing. The architecture of the animals habitats was amazing! Our favorites were the 3 18 mth old cubs playing in their ‘swimming hole’. Could have watched them all day. Equal time went to watching the Otters. And the big cats....oh my gosh! Gift shop & restaurant beautiful. Worth every penny of admission. Will do this again when we have more time.

An experience like no other! Lots of animal interactions and definitely worth the visit. This was a hidden gem we ran into on the way to the Grand Canyon and we are so glad we didn’t pass it. Guaranteed animal sightings in every spot and the bears get really close to your vehicle. Also some cool walking interactions with careful attention to social distancing.

The Drive Thru was smaller than I expected but I guess for the price it was ok. The Walk Thru part was again a bit limited but plenty of animals to see.
I was a little upset to see one of the badgers pacing up and down in his/her enclosure, usually a sign of unhappiness or stress in an animal
But all in all it was a good day out.
The Grizzly bear climbing a tree being the highlight.
Staff in food vendors could do with learning the service with a smile adage too

Bearizona was such a unique experience! We've never been to s drive through zoo. It had safari animals, bears, as well as other American animals. The walk through area was cute and the gift shop was huge. The staff were friendly and they were walking around with an animal & answering questions. The animals looked happy and they looked as they were making improvements when we were there to some of the exhibits.

I’d recommend spending a few hours here. Interesting concept where you drive through the 3-mile loop to view animals in their environment. You will see a lot of bears. The animals all seem oblivious to the vehicles. You are allowed to drive through the loop as many times as you would like. It’s recommended to at least drive through twice because sometimes the animals may not always be close to the road. In addition to the drive-through experience, there’s a small zoo that you walk through to see additional animals.

I loved going to Bearizona! Very special drive through to see the bears, wolves and much more! Our friends loved it!!

My wife is a bearaholic so our visit here was a must.
Cannot tell you how enjoyable this place is other than if you love bears then it should be on your bucket list.
After driving around and seeing many animals close up we were fortunate that a few black bears decided to walk right next to our car. My wife filmed everything and it was a great experience
After this you get to visit the animals in their enclosures and the highlight of the visit was being very close to three grizzly bears and watching them play and frolic in the snow and their pond.
The temperature was approx 27/28 Fahrenheit and it started to snow but nothing deterred my wife from filming the bears standing in the snow storm
This place is well priced and allows you to get up close to many animals (mainly bears) and I would put it on my must do list if travelling in Arizona or planning a Grand Canyon visit

If you have kids, this is an absolute must-see. If you enjoy seeing animals roaming right in front of you, then this is a absolute must - see at any age. The drive, for us, took about 45 minutes. If it was a busy day, I am guessing that it would take much longer. We did not do the walk through area as it was starting to rain.

You can’t leave Williams until you go to Bearizona! The wildlife are amazing, you drive through but you have to keep your windows up because the bears walk up to your car sometimes. There is another side of the park where you can park your car and walk in a zoo area.

Fantastic experience for young and old. Animals are well cared for, active and entertaining. Would highly recommend.

We have watched Bearizona grow over the last 11 years, from the animals to the structures to the remarkably attraction that it is. If you are in the Flagstaff, Williams or Grand Canyon area this is a must do and see attraction.
We enjoy going late fall to mid spring due to the cooler temperatures we have seen more activity of the animals. In the warmer months we try to get here early for the drive through. They offer a Grizzly Bear talk in the morning which is very interesting as they have a brother and two sisters that were orphaned and rescued to their care.
In addition to the drive through exhibits there is a smaller walk through zoo area where you can get up close to smaller animals, it’s fun to she them scampering around.
Food, drinks and bathroom facilities are clean and have plenty available.
Bearizona and the staff that oversee it are great, you will not regret going.

We stopped here on our way from the Grand Canyon to Hoover Dam and Las Vegas and had a great time! When we saw the billboard, my husband was convinced it would be a sad roadside attraction (tourist trap), but it was the complete opposite! The drive part was neat - so fun to see the animals! And the park was amazing! The park had wide walkways shaded by trees and nice enclosures. The restaurant in the back of the gift shop was a little pricey, but the ambiance was nice (we sat upstairs where we could see the Jaguar enclosure) and the food was actually fantastic and big portions - it was one of the best meals we had on our entire trip! It's worth the stop and the price if you are in the area.

I have been here every year since the park opened and it is a must stop on my vacation! I tell everyone to stop here if they are traveling through the Flagstaff / Williams Az area. I was fortunate enough to get to the bear park in SD at Mt. Rushmore this trip and was told it is owned by the same people.
KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! LOVE YOUR PARKS!!!

Our visit to Bearizona was a fantastic experience for my family. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the animals. It's worth mentioning that some sections feature two lanes. What made the visit even better is that you can go through as many times as you like.

***I would strongly recommend getting a car wash before you come so that your windshield and side windows are spotless to take clear photos/videos.
If you’re in Flagstaff/Williams area, you must stop by Bearizona! It’s like being in the African safari but in your own car with the windows up.
Admission cost $35 per person during the weekday. Senior or military discounts takes off $5. Their hours vary. Check their IG for real time data. I had planned for over a month and when I arrived at 4pm, they were closed yet their website was not updated. I checked their IG and turns out, they changed their hours for the season that went into effect that day.
The drive thru course is 3 miles and you go super slow. We saw reindeers blocking our path and coming up right beside the driver’s side. I’m praying that their antlers doesn’t hit and scrap the car. Heard wolves howling and running beside our car. Saw bears in their caves. So much wilderness that you’ll need to experience yourself.
Follow the path and pay attention to the side paths that will see “Enter” or “Do not Enter”.
When you get to the end, you can go back again as many times as you like. Or there’s a walking pathway once you park your car. More animals to see and restroom facilities.
There are a few eateries like the cafe, food truck or sit down. This place is incredible. The gift shop is enormous. Walk area is paved, handicap accessible.

From the entrance to the exit gate - amazing! Very clean and well kept. Very visitor friendly. You will not be disappointed!!! 5 star!

We came specifically to this entity. It was clean, neat and well run. The bear stood exactly what they were supposed to do. They came out they ate. They smiled for the camera. The park is very clean. It was not crowded. It was a cool cloudy day in Arizona.

Super fun. Norm let us feed the grizzly bears. We saw bears, bison, dears, goats, jaguars. The jaguars jumped up real close on the class to try and eat some kids.

Bearizona Wildlife Park had some special moments. The Keeper chats were the most enjoyable part of the park. Various animals are on view and interact with the Keeper. The show is both entertaining and informative. Some audience participation occurs.
The drive through the park is okay. We found a lot of the animals were too far off to really see.
All in all since the money collected helps the animals at the park, of which a good percentage of are rescues, it is well worth the visit. Be sure to make time to walk through the park and attend one of the Keeper Chats!

Entry fee is very high, not like other parks that charge by the vehicle, very few animals around, we were so excited and left extremely disappointed….save your money, go to a zoo, less expensive and more to see 😉

All the depressing animal confinement of a zoo, combined with the fun of bumper-to-bumper traffic...

Wasn't sure if this was going to be any good, been to many of the drive through animal parks. This place was amazing! In all fairness it was hot and the animals were sleeping mostly, but we got there around noon. The bears were everywhere! playing, sleeping, rolling around. The wolves were out, the big horn sheep, buffalo were aplenty!
The surprise was the beautiful animal sanctuary that was at the end of the trail, did not expect that. 3 baby grizzly orphans were absolutely mesmerizing, Huge porcupines were snacking on corn on the cob.
So clean, friendly and truly a great pit stop. No its not a "per car" deal because of the quality of the place. So be prepared for 30 bucks a head per adult, its so worth it!!!!
Bring your camera, never will you see this kind of animal beauty so close.

Very nice park, you drive through and see the animals up close. You also can park your car and walk the rest of it like a zoo. Lots of fun your kids will love it

We came in on our way back to Flagstaff from the Grand Canyon. I think I was more excited than the kids, lol. They did enjoy it once we were in the park and saw the wild animals. We got the chance to see all of the animals on display and then some. What I liked is that they have loops that you can take to go back and experience an area once again. I think that's pretty cool. We got to the bear area and there was a bear that was asleep. As we drove by him, he was waking up and moving about. By taking the loop, we got to come back around and see him walking around. The bison gave us a show when a few of them started fighting. Next, they drove really close to the car, giving my kids an up close look at them. After you finish the drive tour, you can park and enjoy their little village looking place. They have a few other animals on display for you to see. I believe the main attraction was the three cubs. They are adorable. I think every kid would definitely enjoy this place. Its a must if the kids will enjoy.

Despite a strong snow storm, we drove the 30 miles from Flagstaff to Williams to check this out. It's a drive thru experience, and we did see all advertised animals. Did the walking tour also, and enjoyed it.

It was fun to see all the different types of bears and wolves they had. They have a place were you can drive through and the animals will come right up to the car and also a section were you can walk around and see them in a type of zoo environment. Really fun to watch the three young grizzlies play with a ball together in a pool

Bearizona was an amazing experience. I came on a Tuesday right at opening time(9am). Most of the animals in the drive thru part of the park were very active at that time. You are allowed to drive thru as many times as you want to. I drove thru again about 10:45am and a lot of the animals were not around then so go at opening time. I highly recommend anyone near and/or visiting near Williams to visit. I consider it a must see attraction(and I'm not an animal person).

We were driving home from Las Vegas with plans to go to the Grand Canyon. We saw a billboard for Bearizona. It was meant to be. When we pulled up to get our ticket we told the person selling the tickets that we had been to Bear Country in South Dakota. She proceeded to tell us that Bearizona is owned by brothers of the owner of Bear Country. We were happy to hear this. We enjoyed our drive through and seeing all the animals. We were excited that we were able to see bears. Definitely worth the time.

It was amazing, but keep inside your car cause they are running loose in the drive through park we had one walk in front of the car

Fun Drive thru Wildlife Park. We saw several different animals. I like the fact you can drive thru as many times as you'd like . Some of the animals were hiding so we didn't get a good view at first but, when we came back through they were getting motivated. I would definitely visit again !

This park was immaculate! Absolutely loved reading all of the rescue stories. Snack bar food was good. Don’t miss going here!

I did love the fact they have a drive thru and a walk thru version. I would have much rather have signed a waiver saying I could have my windows down for the whole thing, but also understand why they needed to be up. Just sucks with my dark tint, so we couldn’t really see the bears and wolves as well.
The restaurant inside the park was absolutely fantastic and actually worth it.
The walk thru portion was honestly kinda sad in comparison to me. Especially for how little there is to see for how much we spent. But we did it once and are good with that.

We found about this while driving to the Grand Canyon and were glad we did. Driving through the safari part was very interesting. Got very good close up views of the black bears, bison, wolves, elk and pictures. Not crowded at all - we went early in the morning + bought our tickets while on the road. Walked through zoo park area which was also very good with several exhibits where you could see the animals close up. Brown bears were especially interesting - Park guide gave a very good talk, too. Even enjoyed the store/tourist shop - nice selection and not bad prices. Plenty of restrooms and parking. Surprised we did not hear about this before? Definitely worth a visit.

Bearizona lived up to it's name with plenty of bears roaming around in their area. The other animals were out and it was a great experience seeing them at the road. The walk around area have some nice animals also and three grizzly cubs. My niece loved the experience.

The best zoo experience we have ever had! We saw every animal in every exhibit. The drive and the walk through portions were equally awesome. The park was very clean, the staff friendly and informative and best of all the animals appeared happy in large, nature like settings. The show was very interactive and fun. The gift shop is huge and they carry quality items. I really can't speak more highly about the experience (2-4 hours). You can drive around multiple times as the animals are doing different things each time.

Bearizona is great To see bears in the wild so close is outstanding I’ve been to Alaska in the hopes of seeing a bear Here there are so many they’re next to the road and even cross the road right in front of you A Reindeer that actually touched our car The drive thru is slow giving you the chance to see these wonderful animals up close

Better than expected - really did see Bears, Wolves and other animals upclose. The park was clean and traffic moved rpretty well. We did not go inside for the walking portion.

It was nice to see the animals in somewhat of their own element. They had room to roam, and not restricted to a small cage. The drive thru portion took a while, but I was fine with that because in some cases the animals were in the roads. They did have rangers everywhere watching and protecting the animals. Would love to go again, had to cut our trip short as it was snowing

This is a must-do for all ages. We can't wait to bring our little grands back here. We went early and saw animals in every area. We went back for a free second drive-through and found all the animals really active, waiting for their lunch. The restaurants are a little pricey but the food is great - lots of options for all appetites. Some construction is going on, so a few habitats were closed, but the baby grizzlies were absolutely the best! What a treat.

The granddaughters loved it. Cool place to drive thru and see the animals and you can also walk thru a section also. Enjoyable day for me and the kids.

The drive through part of the wildlife park is very good. You need to keep doors and windows closed and locked while you go through the bears and wolves exhibits. The walk through part of the park was decent. Some of the animals seemed stressed though, they were pacing back and forth. It's sad that the enclosures are so small.

This place was amazing! It was so worth the admission price!! The drive thru section allowed you to see many animals….most were asleep in this heat. The walking portion allowed you to see animals up close. The bar by the jaguars was a great spot for lunch!

I was unsure about the price, but it was worth it. My 4 year old really enjoyed it. We got to see numerous bears and bison on the drive through portion. The walking park in the center was surprisingly good. We got to see Grizzly bears and bobcats.

Group of adults, all had a great time. Upgrade experience expensive but worth it! Dress warm - behind the scenes bus is open air. One of the vacation highlights!

This wildlife park /rescue is amazing! It begins with a drive through area where the animals are in the open, in different sections based on type. There are bears, wolves, mountain sheep, bison, etc., so you obviously have to stay inside your vehicle with windows rolled up. There are reminders posted everywhere.
Then there's a walk through area with additional types of animals. The habitats are really nice and appropriate for the animals. We love to visits zoos, and we thought this area was great! They have nice restaurants and a large gift store.
If you like animals, and appreciate good rescue facilities, this is a wonderful place to visit!

Great Covid activity to get out of house. Drove up for the day and saw all the animals. Some attractions were shutdown due to the pandemic but nothing stops seeing reindeer, wolves, bears get close to you as you drive through. They continue to expand the lodge-like area and arent finished yet; but it did not take away drom the experience.

Don't miss it!!! This was recommended by the host of our rental and I am so glad we went. We arrived late afternoon in hopes the animals would be more active (last entry is at 6 pm) and we saw plenty of animals. We all LOVED it (5 adults and 4 grand girls). First you drive through the bear, wolf, and buffalo enclosures. We saw lots and lots of bears and buffalo but only one wolf...a beautiful white wolf laying by the 'den' area of the enclosure. Then we parked and walked the rest of the park. The park is clean and spacious with a nice variety of animals. The water in the otter enclosure needed to be cleaned but the otters swam over to see us as soon as they noticed us across the water and were adorable. The panther and tiger enclosure was cool; they were very active! Also enjoyed seeing the smaller animals and the girls enjoyed the barn animal petting area with goats, donkeys, chickens, etc. Highly recommend going late afternoon as we practically had the park to ourselves and it was cooler with lots of the animals out and about.

We were impressed by Bearizona. It was clean and well maintained and you get really close to the wildlife even when staying in your vehicle because there are so few fences. You drive in among the bears and Bison and other wildlife.

Best drive thru park I've been to, the animals were so much fun to see. Some were in no hurry to move from in front of our vehicle. Nice and well maintained.

Stopped by on our way from Sedona to Tusayan not expecting much. We were blown away at how great the park is. Our visit coincided with a 3pm feeding so we got to see all the bear only feet from the car. Bears snuggling; clinging trees; eating; fighting for space; it was amazing! The gift shop has a great ambiance to it and the walk-through zoo is lovely. Our kids want to come back ASAP!

Impressive gift shop!
We stopped here along the way of our 14 day vacay. It was very well kept, friendly staff and impressive bear and wolf encounters. The coffee was a warm welcome. Full bar as well.

Amazing place. 3 mile drive thru and then walk around. Go in the morning when they just open to beat the crowds. All of us adults and teenagers really enjoyed our time there!

I think the people leaving reviews on tripadviser give 5 stars too easily- the whole point is to be honest so that it’s actually useful for others planning their vacations…. I don’t know how any rational person could give bearizona anything more than 2 stars. It’s over priced, the animals look unhealthy, quite a few exhibits weren’t even open, the driving part is horrible- you have idiots that stop to take pics and hold up the line, if you want to see reptiles, jaguars, or bobcats those exhibits are closed. Why pay sea world prices for a wannabe zoo- the animals would be better off if they were given to a zoo and this place just closed down

I read a review to arrive at 9a as the animals are more prevalent at this time for breaky. This is totally true. We arrived as soon as the park opened and we got to see soooo many bears out eating and many animals just chilling. There were also less visitors so we didn't feel rushed to move the car along. We did the drive through again around noon and it was a completely different experience with very little going on with a lot more cars. We spent 3 hours and would have spent more but had other plans that day. It was definitely a highlight of our entire trip. There were also plenty of places for snacks/eat/rest. Loved the walk around enclosures too!

My kids loved this place. The first part is a drive-thru park which you can go through multiple times. We went through at the beginning and also again at the end. The park is nice also. The animals are spaced out. It was fun to see the jaguars being fed. The people who worked there knew the animals by name there. You never get to see Bears so close up. When we drove through the park later, the bears were more active. It was enjoyable to see. The gift shop was also nice. We bought a few things there.

Over priced and disappointing, very much over rated. Too many people at one time. Only found one nice employee.

We arrived at 3pm on a Saturday. $25 per person. All attractions closed due to Covid except drive through and walk around after drive through experience. There were a lot of bears and bison, but others than that, extremely disappointed. Most areas only had one animal. Animals were eating so not really an organic type experience. Would not recommend.

Even with some reduced service in the covid era, this is worth the trip. Super driving trip through the animals and then a fine walking view. They are very, very clean and everything looks spruced up. Lots of food and seating areas. Employees located all over to give you guidance. We enjoyed it as much as the grand kids.

We had an excellent time at Bearizona! We stopped in Williams on our way to the Grand Canyon. Our son loved all the animals - especially the otters! They also had some gorgeous peacocks walking around that were stunning! Highly recommend!

Very disappointed in the number of animals seen on the drive through. When there was an animal to see they were usually seen in the distance. The types of animals were those that were native to Arizona I believe. Not much to see here.

Definitely stop here for a fun afternoon, The driving portion alone is worth it, but the close up walking tour is the cherry on the sundae.

Disappointed that a little snow kept the park from opening. Closed for the next two days due to inclement weather. Seriously? You're at the top of a damn mountain.

We were afraid this would be cheesy. But, it was quite fun and nice to see animals in a natural, safe environment. Kids would love this!

It a great place to take teenagers they get to enjoy the driving to see all the animals. My daughter favorite animal were the jaguars and leopard. We came in at 4:00 and they close at 5:30 . We were able to cover everything. The enter fee is $30.00 a person I think it’s a little high .

Amazing experience!! We booked the VIP tour and I highly recommend it, worth every penny!! The animals are gorgeous and roam freely, I killed my phone battery taking so many pictures. The kids loved it. Restaurant in the park has good food! Must see, we will be back!

This is a good experience if you are in the general Flagstaff area. This is especially the case if you have children under the age of 10. An adult ticket costs $25 and children between four and 12 cost $15. Therefore, a family of four will pay $80. But it is worthwhile. Younger children will enjoy the various animals including wolves, bears, bobcats, badgers and other North American wildlife. There is a 3 mile drive through and there after you can walk through an area and see animals up close. lunch here is very pricey so I recommend bringing a picnic. There is usually plenty of available parking. You’ll probably spend most three or four hours here.

We stopped to spend a couple of hours waiting for the weather to leave again.... Very sad place. If I had known I would never have gone. The ticket includes the tour with your own car and the one on foot. With your car you take a short route and you see bears, wolves, bison in a fairly decent contest but inside......if you love animals, forget this place. It's true, there are no cages but the animals are confined in narrow spaces and are nervous......the jaguar caused me enormous pain. I understand that it can be an experience for children.....but explain to them that animals must be free and not confined in limited spaces and put on a show!
I would never go back!

Bearazona has a lot of different attractions to offer for one price. The main attraction is the drive-through animal exhibits. The animal's habits look very spacious and fit for their species, and the animals have tons of food out in the open. The wildlife is extremely friendly and will sometimes come up to your car. The variety of animals is very extensive, including animals such as wolves, bears, bison, etc. You are also given the chance to go through the attraction multiple times with one ticket per person. The other attractions include a miniature zoo, a petting zoo, and different shows, such as bird shows. Overall, very unique, a must do activity in Arizona.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but we had the best time! Our son, 3, especially loved sitting on my lap in the front seat driving through the zoo. We heard the wolves howling and saw lots of bears. Came during the Thanksgiving holiday week, and while busy, didn’t feel overly crowded. Cars moved at a good pace through the drive through zoo and we loved the walking area of the zoo, especially the jaguars, bear cubs and sea otters. Everything was clean and nice and the gift shop was huge (complete with a pressed penny machine). We were surprised and impressed with this place - definitely check it out!

Only a few animals in drive-through. Good for an hour visit, if you are staying in Williams. But not worth detour.

Totally enjoyed our visit...all the animals were active making the visit even more exciting...weather was perfect for January

What a fantastic place! It is a must if nearby with children. Get up close and personal with animals in the drive through area. After driving by some animals, there is also a walking zoo. Incredibly friendly staff.

What a great stop for our family on the drive between Vegas and Sedona. The animals were very active and had lots of room to roam around.

Really was impressed with this place. Around 160 acres provides these animals an ample parallel to their genuine habitat.
We had a wonderful day!

Loved the drive through, we got there right before they opened and we managed to see most of the animals because they put food out for them. We went again through the drive through 2 hours later and there weren’t a lot of animals out so I suggest going through it during their breakfast time. The walkthrough was awesome as well. Lots of cool animals to see. The jaguar exhibit was awesome. My kids 5 and 3 enjoyed it so much!

This was an unplanned stop on our 4000 mile roadtrip but when our kids thought of the opportunity to see REAL bears in REAL life...we couldn't pass it by!! We've done many drive thru zoos and parks and this one was one of the better ones. The bears and wolves were our favorite!! They were so active and it's not something you see in real life very often when you live in south Texas.
This place was very clean, the lay-out was set up very nicely, the signs were visible and provided great information. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place!!

Arrived when it opened @ 8AM to beat the Memorial Day weekend crowd. We enjoyed it very much, we actually loved it! The animals were out & you can drive-thru as much as you want, which I highly suggest because sometimes you will not see the animals. My recommendation also is to go through the drive-thru first because it will get busy & you will get stuck behind cars. You can go @ your own pace but please follow their rules! Vehicles are not suppose to stop but do anyway & it causes traffic. Stay on the right side of the road so others can pass. Drive slow & keep windows up (even to take pics) for everyone’s safety, specially if you have a dog in your vehicle (the animals can smell their scent). If you break the rules, staff are watching & are everywhere to remind you, they are very organized. It was awesome to see the animals, they look very well taken care of, the property is beautiful & clean. Open year round, 7 days a week. Go when they first open, the animals tend to be more active early in the morning. There’s plenty of places to choose from to eat. Entry price is $30 per person weekdays (covers drive-thru, walk-thru & shows). There’s also a beautiful & huge gift shop. The walk-thru was great too to see the animals up close (jaguars, otters, beavers, porcupines, raccoons, badgers, foxes, bobcats, javelinas, etc..). This wonderful place is still a work in progress, there was a little bit of construction but no big deal. Visit this amazing & magical place. I read negative reviews for being expensive, etc.. but go! It’s worth it! Support these rescued animals!

Bearizona is a unique wildlife park where you drive thru and the animals are all around your car. We saw bears and bison up close. It was a slow fun drive thru the park. Kids would love this trip.

Sadly, we seemed to be driving through after lunch (siesta time for animals?) so few animals were up close. We were pulling a small trailer, and had to remove the spare wheel cover, the ends of the trailer bumper, and the tank drain tube stored in the bumper. The walk through area was nice, and the visitor center was amazing (diaramas and displays). The show put on with skunk, vulture, and other animals was informative and fascinating.

Bearizona was such a unique experience! I’ve only ever been to one other drive through zoo, but it had safari animals. This one obviously had bears as well as other American animals. The walk through area was cute and the gift shop was huge. My husband and I easily spent $100. The staff were friendly and let us use the bathroom at the front since we got there close to closing. The animals looked happy and they were making improvements for them.

While not inexpensive, I found this place to be worth the investment. There are two sections - the driving section and the walking section. In the driving section you move slowly in your vehicle from animal area to animal area seeing on the way bears, wolves, bison, elk, burrows and more in an open environment which means you may find yourself with a bear coming towards you vehicle. I got some great pictures. Then you can stop to do the walking section which is much like a normal zoo with areas for creatures like otters, more bears (including grizzly), bobcats, racoons and more. The facility seems well maintained and during that walking part you can stop at several snack bars or the restaurant. And the gift shop is large and packed with things to buy.

This is an amazing hidden Gem of a park. It’s a can not miss if you’re going to the Grand Canyon for a visit. The animals are amazing and there are many animal encounters and feedings. The VIP TOUR was worth every penny!

I've been to Bearizonia a few times & it's always fun. This was the first time I've been there in Aug. It was a really good time to go not crowded. I was also suprised that the gift shop wasn't crowded either. The last few times before this the gift shop was so crowded you can barely get around. They did seem to have added new buildings fronts in the wolves section that I haven't seen before.

Marvelous, well-kept/maintained facility with professional, knowledgable, caring staff. We liked that we could drive through as many times as we wanted if some of the animals weren't out or far off as we went through the first time. The walk-through area (a newer portion if you've not been there for some years) is well designed and has several animals to view. We liked that they are a rescue facility for breeds that need homes (like bears). The bird show they had not only shared information about the creatures but also highlighted some of their natural behaviors. The sound systems they used were top-notch and made hearing what was said easy for everyone.

This was an amazing experience and I hope we get a chance to do it again if we're ever back in that part of the country. The drive through portion of the park was great. We saw quite a few animals and were so impressed we went through twice. The walk through portion was probably our biggest pleasant surprise. It was much larger than I thought and there were so many animals. We were able to get quite close to them and the staff was great about answering questions. Our whole family was impressed by how clean everything was, and it is evident that the animals are well cared for. I highly recommend this to anyone in the area.

Conveniently located off of Interstate 40 near Williams, AZ, Bearizona is worth a detour. This attraction offers a two part excursion. The first is a 3 mile drive thru wilderness park. You can stay in the comfort of your car as you see wolves, bison, bears and much more. The path is easy to drive on and takes about an hour or so. You can drive slow enough to take photos. The second is more of a traditional zoo like walk through park with more animals (otters, jaguar, panther and others). It is very accessible. The walk-through park has nearby off-street free parking fairly close to the entrance and restrooms. It also has concessions, a restaurant and a huge gift shop. Adult admission was $35. Seniors was discounted to $32. Kids under four were free.

Great place to visit, this is our second time! We visited in 2020 as well and loved it then, too. Drove through twice this time as they allow you to drive through as many times as you want.

We went to know the canyonland restaurant, which is inside bearizona, very nice ❤️ you have to pay your entrance to the zoo to enter the restaurant

Fantastic place! The animals are well cared for and the park is not a bit sleazy or seedy. It is a well run small zoo. The drive thru part is a few miles long and animals just walk around. The walk thru area has well done exhibits and again, the animals are well cared for. We got to town before our hotel was ready and Bearizona was a great way to spend a couple hours.

Impromptu trip to Bearizona! Who knew we would come across this fairly new gem... They have been open for about 5 years now. Heading towards Grand Canyon we saw a long line of cars and we decided to see what all the fuss was about.
Enter at your own risk. There are many signs up saying they are not responsible for damage to your vehicle because animals will and have come very close.
What a fuss it was. Who wouldn't want to drive through a wildlife park in the comfort of your very own vehicle?? About 20 bucks an adult and we were able to drive through the gates of cute little (well not so little but hey) furry animals. The animals are able to roam freely in their natural habitat - minus the cars. Turn off your music and be amongst the cutie patooties. We saw sheep, wolves, bison, bears and many more! My absolute favorite was seeing the beautiful wolf come so close to my car and grazing it. Felt so surreal! Also, seeing the bears climb trees and splashing around in the water was amazing.
Once you are done with the 3 mile stretch you come to a parking lot and you can either choose to leave or walk through the park where they have food, a beautiful newly renovated gift shop and more animals!

I’m not fond of captive animal zoos but this place is so natural for the animals that they don’t appear as captives. Bearizona also takes in injured and abandoned animals. Nice experience for people and animals.

We headed to the Grand canyon for memorial day weekend. The day we drove up, we stopped at Bearizona, and im so glad we did. It was really cool.
It wasn't busy there at all, we got there about 2pm friday. The have a military discount so it was like 50$ and they let you drive around as many times as you want to. We drove around twice and then walked around the park. We also ate at the little place as soon as you walk in. We just got some chicken and cheese fries. The animals were pretty active for it being mid day. I would go again in the future.

This place was amazing! All of the animals were so active and visible! Wolves, reindeer, bears, elk, jaguars, etc. This was way better than anticipated! We loved it!

This is a very well done attraction! Kids will have a great time. Lots of bears , wolves, bison and deer. Plenty of other North American animals that are not often seen in zoos. A drive in thru safari and a small zoo that you walk around. This is a perfect way to spend 2 or three hours. They also have a restaurant that is surprisingly very good. Try the Navajo Taco, it was excellent!

I've been here before but it had been several years. I really enjoy the live animal show which included birds and animals. The rest of the park is like a small zoo. Great place for little kids. Probably should not go in the heat of the day because most of the animals are hiding somewhere in the shade and not "on display". The drive through zoo is pretty cool.

Being up close and safe near the animals was fun. Felt very safe with all the Covid rules followed. Not too crowded.

This was a great trip for the family. The drive thru park was filled with animals they were fun to spot and watch. The bear exhibit was exciting and full of laughter as we watched the bears snore, scratch their backs etc. Everyone loved it. The walking zoo was also great. The otter was exhibit was so cute that we visited it three times before we left. Overall, this park is great and worth the money. Enjoy!

Stop here on our way from Lake Powell to Williams. What a great find. Grandkids were in awe. Animals were plentiful and very active. Both drive-through and walking around the park kept the kids very interested and very very happy!!

A great stop if you have children. the drive through was not overly impressive, we were expecting to see more activity. We arrived at 10 am and the summer temperature was climbing , and animals were probably taking cover. We saw a handful of Bison, bear and wolves. Walking through the zoo area, the heat may have caused the animals to retreat. I would recommend for family with kids as a must see. I wouldn’t return.

The first part - driving part - is so good!!
So we’ll done and unique and see lots of animals
The walk through part is CHEESY
The enclosures are terrible especially the one for the jaguar - heart breaking!!! Shame on Bearizona
This was supposed to be animals in natural surroundings or I thought that was idea. Original idea was great!!

We had a great time at Bearizona. The walk through part was a bit sleepy, but the drive through was great. Appreciated the gift shop and the hot dogs. A fun thing to do on a slightly rainy day.

The venue was overpriced. The road through the drive-thru area was not very well maintained. The animal exhibits, particularly the bears were hard to see.

Very well done. It’s obvious the animals are very well taken care of. Most of the animals are rescued. I was a little hesitant about viewing animals in captivity, but they have excellent enclosures and they seem content. I am happy I stopped to see them.

Second time in Bearizona, First time was during Summer time. Second time we ended up going in this cool rainy day in June. Was not sure if we should go since weather was a bit miserable however we did. Was in fact an even better experience than in the Summer when most Animals were hiding somewhere in the shade. This time is seem all Animals were very happy to be out and about and enjoy the wet cool weather. We had Wolves , bears and deer coming close to the car, One White Wolf stopped to peek inside the passenger window , Bison were out next to the road eating and in the walk around area the Bears were all out going also in and out of their pool.
Overall a much better experience than in the summer. (We suggest that Bearizona management give all animals a pay raise for entertaining everyone in the rain:):) )
Naturally, was not as nice to walk a lot in the restaurant area however if you have an umbrella its not an issue.

One of the saddest places I have ever been. Grown bears are not herd animals. They try there best to stay as far away from each other as possible. The cubs are separated from their moms and housed in zoo like confinement. This place should be shut down. This is the next Blackfish. Be kind to animals and skip this joint. It's awful

You can drive through in your car as many times as you want during the day. There's also a walk-through area.

Seeing the 3 grizzly cubs and feeding the otters .... everything there was well cared for and enjoyable to see! Both drive through and walk through. We spent about 3 hours there

Very well done. Not just for kids. Nice experience, did the drive thru, walking tour, and had lunch. The otters were a delight, and the jaguars were unreal up close through the glass.

Mainly drive thru wild animal park with large animals in open areas and additional walk thru area for smaller animals in enclosures.
Not as many animals as would be expected for admission price. Some animals were rescued near Williams as abandoned when young. Highlights are bears and buffaloes. No elephants or other African animals.

This was so much better than I thought it would be. We recently visited the Deer Farm and were very disappointed in that. But I can't wait to take my grandkids to Bearazona. Wish we would have gotten there early, ate at the park and spent more time there.

Amazing experience! We ( 4 adults 50+) drove up from Phoenix for a day trip. We arrived around 10:30 am and saw plenty of bears! We purchased tickets online, but easily could purchase when arrived- there was no wait. Only advice would be to find a restroom prior as the only restroom is after the 30-40 minute drive through.

The animals are all rescued (or born there from the rescues) so how can you complain. It is not a zoo. I wouldn't go expecting a full zoo. You will see many bears, bison, wolves, deer, mountain goats, etc. In the walk-through you will likely see the other animals, nothing is too tucked away. Including lunch, we spent about 3 hours total and did the drive-thru part twice. It is worth doing more than once if you didn't get close to anything the first time and your kids want more.

Part safari, part zoo, Bearizona is wonderful for all ages. I suggest driving through, then walk the zoo and have lunch in their restaurant which is really good (and has gluten-free options), then drive through again as you may see different animals.

We went thru Bearizona with my 3 year old grandson and he loved it!! We saw bears, deer, donkeys, big horned sheep, and even white bison (a first for all of us). We did the drive thru right when they opened, and I'd recommend that as the animals were out, and we could take our time. The walk thru zoo was fun and he loved the petting zoo with the VERY large turkey! A definitely "don't miss" if you have little kids : )

Generally worth the asking price of 35$ per adult, considering entry is both for the driving and walking parts, with some rare animals to see in both. Naturally, some didn't exactly present themselves for viewing, but that is to be expected. One ought to come rather early - the amount of cars detracted some from the experience, as did the general noise level in the park. However, this is very much a family destination, and it does a good job of that.

Man I'm really torn on this one. The effort to have a nice wildlife exhibit is obviously there but it was incredibly expensive for what it was. It was a hot day as well, which kept many of the animals seeking cover, which I can't blame them for that. The drive thru bear exhibit was really cool because they were moving a lot. they have a drive thru area and a walk thru area....you need to get both to get your monies worth.
If you have no limits on funds and have the time to go on a cool morning when the animals are all moving about, it may be worth the visit, other wise I'd probly save it for another time.

We spent a morning at Bearizona and absolutely loved it. We enjoyed reading about how the animals were rescued and we also appreciated that it wasn’t so big that it was overwhelming. We did go first thing in the morning and the animals were up and moving. We also watched the animal talk and enjoyed learning about various birds and mammals. We had a 5 year old with us and she loved every minute of it! We ate lunch at the restaurant and all of our food was delicious!

A fun day out. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. There was a bird display but the bird flew out of the area and the handlers had to go and find it. The drive through was amazing. Most of the animals were so close that pic were easy to take. Although there were several places to get food, most of them had no bottled water left so I would recommend taking your own supply. Other than that, it was a lovely day out.

Great time! I would definitely recommend if you like seeing animals and large habitats. So much nicer than a zoo. We drove through twice and saw all the different species. I learned bears sleep in trees after see one snooze about 25-30 ft off the ground!!! Animals looked healthy and well taken care of. It was really a fun experience and one I would definitely do again.

This place made me really sad. The drive through portion is not monitored and many people stopped their cars in the wolf and bear area which is against the rules. The animals are exposed to toxic emissions of idling cars. The wolves were running between the cars and sniffing at doors. I saw one person roll their window down which is also not allowed. I have been to many AZA accredited zoos and aquariums and this is by far the lowest standard of animal care I have ever seen. The birds enclosures were very small. Some of the animals did not look happy or comfortable. There is an old west scene with a sign for fur traders which I find incredibly distasteful. I was horrified by everything I saw. I tried to ask one of the staff people some questions and was brushed off. These animals deserve a better habitat.

We were prepared to be potentially underwhelmed but that was not the case! We did the drive thru first and saw all of the animals, they were laying in the shade for the most part, except for the bison, which walked right by my window. We also take enjoyed the walk thru, feeding the otters and seeing everything else. It was July 4, and it was hot but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and thought it was worth the high admission. Our kids are 15 and 19 and shared our enthusiasm.

This is a great park near the Grand Canyon Yeah historic Williams Arizona. The price is well worth admission, and if you want to see bears there are many many. It would be best to arrive around noon where the bears are more active and not sleeping off their breakfast. But even so there were bears around the vehicle. There are also wolves deer and elk that wander around your vehicle as Detroit you drive-through. Something amazing was the white Buffalo.. Another nice touch is the small walking zoo area at the end. Take time to explore the whole park. It must see when visiting the Grand Canyon.

It's a nice place to take the kids to spend a few hours. Suggest going to the park first then do the drive on the way out. Animals seem well kept and the place is clean. Good family road-trip destination.

We had a wonderful time here! The first part is drive thru, each group of animals is separated by cattle guards. The girl at the gate said we could drive thru as many times as we wanted. The first drive thru they were all napping! We had lunch, went through the walk through part, and when we drove thru again all the animals were very active! Just amazing to see wolves playing by your car window! The bears were great. My granddaughter really loved the bison. The walk through part is just beautiful. We got to see both jaguars up close. Nice restaurants, and you can even get a cocktail! They have happy hour! Pricy, but unique. What do you expect on vacation? Don't miss!.

Scam. Repeat scam.
A few depressed bears and you can't walk 20 paces without being shaken down for money.
Clearly the high ratings are from 'bots they hired to sucker unsuspecting families in to loot them. Shame on you.

If you're staying in the Flagstaff area, especially if you're visiting the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, take a day break and visit this fantastic fun animal park. It starts with a drive through the park to see animals up close like bears, deer and wolves. Then park and go see the rest of the animals and eat some lunch. Its not too pricey, the service was good and the rest rooms were clean.

So much fun. Many of the animals on the driving side were hiding or so far away that it was hard to see them. But, a curious baby deer came onto the road to check out the RV ahead of us. There are a variety of wildlife, but the best are the bears. Two were swimming in a pond and actually stood up and started swatting each other, and then they went back to just floating. Haha! The walking part of the park was really nice. Also a nice variety of animals, shows throughout the day with animal training sessions, a live duet playing tunes and food and beverage kiosks scattered around. There’s a huge gift shop…on the pricey side for many of the items.

What an amazing place to come visit. Unbelievably easy for families, especially if you like seeing animals from the comfort of your own vehicle.

We visited this attraction on our way to sedona after a 3 night stay in williams. It had just snowed for 2 days and was absolutely gorgeous. The animals were all very active and made it for a very enjoyable drive through. The walk through was also cute and many animals also very active. Gift shop was well stocked and decently priced. Highly recommend giving this place a visit if you're in the area. Plan for 2-4 hours depending on how engaging and active the animals are. I could've watched them for hours.

This park was fantastic. The animals were all active and super fun to watch. The drive through part was great as it allows you to see the animals in their natural state. The walking area had some wonderful animals, all who were easy to see and pretty active. The park is small enough that it doesn’t take your entire day to go through, but large enough to keep you interested around every corner. I highly recommend a stop at this wonderful, clean, and well maintained park when driving through or staying near Williams!

It was well worth the trip. Lots of bears and other animals. A very clean environment. The trees made it nice and cool. I can’t wait to go again.

Super cool place to go. It was really neat to drive through free roaming wildlife. Don't worry it's safe. We say so many black bear, I was amazed. They were just chilling. It was so cool. The wolfs are beautiful. All the other animals were a sight to see as well. Go check it out, you'll love it.

A little pricey, but a nice way to spend the afternoon. The park was well kept, you could see all the animals and plenty of food options plug your hungry. Enjoyed the visit.

It’s a great wildlife and park for wildlife. I like that the animals roam free and you can remain in your vehicle as you drive through the place. The fee may be bit pricey but it also include a walk through experience of other animals.

Brilliant visit to Bearizona. We saw so many animals and they all seemed so well cared for. Staff, restaurant and gift shop were all excellent too. Really can’t fault it as somewhere to spend a few hours. We all loved it - family trip with 3 children aged 12, 12 and 14.

We attended a wedding reception after hours from the park. It was awesome. The food was good and the service was too.

We were a bit disappointed in the drive through because several of the animals were holed up or asleep due to the heat. However, the walk through made up for that and the grizzley feeding was great to witness. Staff took plenty of time to feed the bears and provide information to all of us. Bearizona is wonderful for all ages and not to be missed.

Not normally the type of place we’d visit as adults on our own but we were swayed by the grizzly bears and the lack of anything to do in Williams!
Well, apart from being expensive, it was a good way to spend a morning. We timed our trip round the grizzly bear experience and learned a lot from Norm, the keeper. They were delightful to watch. The park is divided into two, one part walking and the other driving through. We walked round first, seeing all the animals. I think that because we did that in the early ish morning, the animals were all quite active. After that we did the drive through part. That’s always going to be chancy as you can’t predict wild animals’ movements but we were lucky enough to at least catch a glimpse.
I did feel confident that the animals had enough room to roam freely and they seemed happy and healthy.
We had lunch in the restaurant which was just fine, plenty of choice and seating.
So, yes, I would recommend!

Bearizona is an amazing experience for me and my family! The bears were so fun to watch! Loved all animals, and the scenery. I will say it was a bit pricey, but definitely a must of you have kids!

Our hotel recommended this so we thought we would give it a try. It was amazing! The animals are not trapped in little cages - they are right in the same space as you and you can have windows down for all except the bears and wolves. However even the bears were so close and it was fun to spot some sleeping in the caves as well. You can also drive through multiple times. It was less cars when we first got there but drove again in the afternoon on our way out and animals seemed more active and social. A deer even came to say hello! We watched a cute animal show inside the park as well- who knew a vulture could have such a personality?

Bearizona was an excellent family destination. They offer both a drive-through safari and walk-through experience. The animals enclosures were designed well and the animals were lively. The park was clean and the staff was very friendly. It is within driving distance to Flagstaff.

My husband and I had a free day on our trip to just do something relaxing and take a break from hiking- we had the best time here! The place is very clean, the staff was wonderful- and the animals were amazing! We could have watched the bears all day. Definitely drive around more than once in that section because you see different animals each time as they move around! Worth every penny!

We spent about 2 1/2 hours visiting the animals at Bearizona. We did the drive through park and then the walking areas. The animals were active, even on a January morning. They have a gift shop, a restaurant and drink carts throughout the park. The animals appear well cared for and they offer demonstrations from time to time.

I recently had a business group tour Bearizona and the experience was fantastic! The staff is knowledgeable and very accommodating. Kari the Manager had everything arranged and our guides Norm and Nancy were excellent.
We had a luncheon arranged at the Canyonlands restaurant at Bearizona and the food and service was very good. Eduardo and Shane at Canyonlands took good care of us. Sean, the owner of Bearizona stopped by our luncheon to welcome our group and give us some background snd history of Bearizona.
If your travels take you to Northern Arizona, DO NOT miss the opportunity to visit Bearizona. Arizona is lucky to have an attraction like this!

The building and animal habitats were very esthetically pleasing but they did not seem to care enough for the animals genuine needs over the tourists desire - especially the bears. There were easily over 20 black bears in the drive around area and they were all compacted into a space capable of comfortably containing 2-3 bears. The grizzly’s were fed by the visitors by hand (the visitors were invited to throw food into the habitation). This style of feeding is extremely dangerous. It teaches the people that are visiting Bearizona that it may be okay to feed a bear in a National Park, if they were ever to see one in the wild. National Parks (such as Banff National Park) have ever growing issues with tourists feeding the wildlife, despite signs and bylaw action to prevent measures. The people probably get the confidence to go against bylaw because of places like Bearizona. Humans feeding wildlife in leads to an increase in wildlife encounters in the community’s near the parks, and an increase in animal aggression and animal attacks. Please stop this brutal feeding ritual!
The Jaguars looked bored. The space provided for the both of them was capable of comfortably holding one. If they want to have two Jaguars they need to have a second exhibit that is nearby or semi connected to the first in order to give the two cats their own personal space.
These animals spend their entire lives in these exhibits and I had much higher expectations. I would not come back unless massive changes were to be implemented, for the animals’ sake.

Had many people tell us to go, but still I was a little leery at the concept of the drive thru zoo. If my family hadn't said they wanted to go I probably would have let it pass. I am so glad we didn't!
Really nicely done, the setting is lovely, the animals appear peaceful and well cared for, decent driving length and appreciated the turn offs at the more popular spots where you could loop around again. Then at the end the opportunity to walk thru another more traditional zoo.
Again, really nicely done and great to learn about how the animals came to them.
We spent 2+ hours for the entire visit and very well worth it.

You can't miss this place when you're with kids and family. The drive-through experience is absolutely amazing, and the wildlife is so close that it's a blast for both kids and adults. The walk-through is just as fantastic, and the restaurant with a view of the jaguars is truly spectacular!

We almost didn't do this, since often the animals are not active, or it is cheezy, but this was actually quite good. The drive-through part was OK, but the walk-through zoo made up for the $35-person entrance fee

Totally blown away! Went in thinking we might see a few animals but we saw an incredible number of animals. You can drive around as many times as you want. I especially loved the white wolves running right beside the car and bears meandering along the roads. We saw more than 30 bears. Lots of bison, sheep, goats, reindeer, deer, elk, wolves and bears. The majority of the animals were rescued and are living the good life. It doesn’t feel like a zoo because the animals are roaming and people are confined to their cars with windows up. We will be coming back

Such a cool place to happen in a cross on a road trip to Flagstaff. We saw a sign on the side of the freeway and decided to turn off, we were pleasantly surprised, and it was a wonderful few hours. You can drive through and see all of the wildlife in their habitats, some of them are very close up! Then you can park and walk through their mini zoo with lots of animals up close. The Bears were cuddled up in their den, which you can see them close up behind the glass, no more than 2 feet away! Such a cool place to spend a few hours with the family. All ages and abilities would enjoy this park! Stroller, friendly, big impressive, gift store, and a restaurant on site.

The kids (7 & 10) were a bit bored at the Grand Canyon and I had seen the billboard for this place driving in, so we decided to stop on the way back to Sedona. What a great visit! The drive through part was great! Got to see animals in a mostly natural habitat behaving like wild animals (as opposed to confined ones in zoos). Then we did the walk through part which was also cool. Neat to see native animals. We didn’t arrive till 3 and the drive through closed at 4, but the walk through part closed at 5:30, so we got to see feeding time for many animals and were even included in feeding the bears. The park was pretty empty this late and some food options had already closed. Would definitely recommend and it totally made the kids day!

Our visit to Bearizona was beyond expectations. Sean Casey & his entire staff, especially Norm, are extremely courteous, professional, and more than helpful.
The entire campus is most impressive. The viewing & interaction with the animals is unforgettable. You cannot miss this trip!

Stopped here on the way back to Flagstaff from Grand Canyon. Bearizona kept true to its name, saw many bears among other animals. Really interesting ride through natural habitats. Took about an hour to do the drive through, did not do the walk through portion due to time but is included in your admission. Easy to access at the entrance to the town of Williams, which also is very walkable with good restaurants.

This was a hoot! So fun to drive among the wolves and bears and bison! There is even a nice little zoo to stop and get out and walk around in. Clean and Fun!

We just happened to drive by this place on our way back from the Grand Canyon. We thought we would give it a shot. We LOVED it. The deer were hilarious. There must have been 8 of them licking, yes licking the car in front of us. We were worried we wouldn't see many wolf or bear (those are the animals we were most excited about), but we saw about 5 wolves and we saw so many bear that we lost count. We saw them sleeping, drinking, walking, sitting, etc. I wish my younger kids had been with us. They would have loved it too!!

We had relatives flying in from Virginia. I decided that would be a great experience for our 4 1/2 year-old niece. We live in Sedona and have visited Bearazona previously. We got VIP TICKETS which is well worth the money. Damian was our tour guide through the park giving us an in-depth experience. All of the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. We would do it again in every season.

Excellent for all ages! Allows up close look at animals that many would never see. AS well they are a rescue facility for animals orphaned or injured in the wild.

Well I'm a rational person and I believe the experience was well worth the time and it must be even better if you have kids who have never seen a bear let alone be so close to so many. The drive through is only a part of the experience and although it wasn't very crowded when we went, (April 19, 2022) I actually had a good time. As the animals are wild and in enclosed areas, patience is always something needed during the drive as many families were excited to see so many bears at one time. There is also an area with bathrooms, concessions and restaurants with some exhibits also available. If you're a grumpy Gus then this isn't the place for you. Wife and I enjoyed the experience. Would definitely take my great grandkids given the chance.

Wow this place was absolutely amazing even for 2 adults! The animals lots of outdoor space and seemed to be well cared for. Definitely worth a visit.

Bearizona was way overpriced and there weren’t many animals to view on the drive around the park. No instructions on how to get to the walking area. We were very disappointed!

Being a very hot day, fully expected to not see many animals as they slept in shaded areas. Ok it helped to get there early cos when we did a 2nd driving loop some animals were starting to disappear. However was amazed to see most of the animals on the 1st loop active and close to the roadside. We then did a short visit to the zoo element. The 3 grizzly bear brothers were the star of the show but there were other interesting animals. We spent around 3 hours here. Could easily have spent more time

This place is amazing, the animals have a very good and happy home here, and plenty of space to roam around. The animals are friendly loving. There is a drive-thru zoo and an exhibit where you can walk around. There are multiple stands where you can buy beer, cider, and hot cocoa.

we love all the animals you have in your park. You had made their homes a perfect place4. It really shows that you care about all the animals. Every employee was very pleasant and made out visit very special. We come every year and always enjoy our visit. Keep up the great work.

Went to park for a day. Park has two parts. A drive threw where you can see the animals from your car. Second is like a zoo. Very nice clean an great for take a young children. Various wild animals Bears buffalo raccoons etc etc. Not cheap Not real large either but very clean. Good for a few hours. Drive threw part better early morning believe most animals sleeping during day.

Recently my wife and I enjoyed a long but scenic drive to beautiful Williams Arizona to visit Bearizona Wildlife Park. While we had heard often of the par; the nearly 3.5 hours drive each way made it a bit tricky as usually, we are only in that part of the state when we are driving back from a convention in Las Vegas or doing a drive tour or coverage in Sedona or Flagstaff.
Thankfully we were able to block out a full day and had a very enjoyable drive that was punctuated with a roughly 25-degree drop in the weather which was a welcome change from the growing heat in the Phoenix area.
We knew we had arrived thanks to helpful signage near the exit and a very attractive archway and video board and the entrance to the park. A short wait to reach the drive-up ticket booth followed a greeting from a very happy and helpful staff member who informed us of the rules regarding the drive portion of the trek. The main rules were to keep the windows up, do not feed the animals, and keep moving around the bears.
The first part entailed a scenic drive with Mountain Goats, Wolves, and Donkeys. Each animal set was in its own sections and had plenty of room to roam, rest, eat and play. We saw multiple hideaways with animals resting the day away.
The Junior Bears were up next and they did indeed have an interest in the cars and would often come up close to the cars which made for some amazing photo and video opportunities. The next segment involved White Bison and it was amazing to see the herd eat, roam, and interact with one another.
The final segment of the drive involved the Adult Bears and they were abundant in dens, by the water, resting on rocks, or roaming about.
The next segment of the park featured a walking section which was in keeping with a traditional zoo as there were great exhibits with Porcupines, Raccoons, Otters, and multiple other animals including a Jaguar. While it is not as large an area as some places it featured amazing scenery as well as food stands, shops, and other amenities.
Dining options include the Bearizona Grill for quick service items and snacks and Canyonlands which offered more traditional dining options.
Bearizona also allows guests to take as many drives around the driving portion as they wish during their visit and that is exactly what we did after doing the walking portion so we could enjoy more of the up-close viewings of the animals.
Bearizona is a very enjoyable and affordable destination for the entire family. For those who plan to attend with four or more people; an Annual Pass may be an option to consider as the park offers three different options so guests can find the one that works best for them.
Our visit was more than worth the almost seven-hour drive for us and we thought frequently of how much our Granddaughter would enjoy the park and are already looking forward to our next visit.

We decided to visit here while we were waiting for our motel room to be ready. Its only about a 15 minute drive from Williams.Well all I can say is Wow,what an amazing place. As an animal lover I was in heaven.Animals roam freely in this large, natural parkland. You can drive through the circuit as many times as you like.I was hoping to catch a "glimpse" of a bear.I was not prepared to be literally inundated by them. They were everywhere.Up trees, under rocks, wandering along the road, along side your car.Just incredible. There was also tons of deer, white wolves and bison. All the animals looked healthy.Lovely to see them out in the open like that. There is also a really nice walk through enclosure which had panthers, grizzly bears, snakes etc. There is a bird show in the open arena and there was a super cute raccoon who performed as well. The very large gift shop is excellent too. This was one of the best things we did on our holiday. We absolutely loved it.Thank you

We had such a great time at Bearizona! We traveled with our two young children (ages 2 and 5) and they both loved it!
Drive through - the drive through portion is by far the highlight of this park. We got there at about 9 am and the animals were all pretty active and visible. There were bison blocking cars, and bears walking on the roadway. It was so cool! We did drive through a second time closer to 1pm and the animals were not as active, most of them were sleeping and there were a lot more cars.
Walk through - The walk through is similar to a small local zoo. My young kids loved it, but it was definitely not as entertaining as the drive through portion.
Food - we ate at the Canyonlands restaurant for lunch and it was tasty!
We spent a ton of time in the souvenir shop too!
Overall, we were there about 4 1/2 hours, including time to eat lunch and drive through the drive through portion a second time.

Local families in AZ told us to stop here. Definitely worth it. We have done many Zoo's but this was much better. Reminds us of Animal Kingdom at Disney World but with Bears and no rides but the animals were a site to see. We caught a show too. Stop here if you have children and plan on at least 2 hours to see it all. Being from the mid-west, we don't get to AZ that often but if you visit the Canyon, it is definitely worth the stop.

This was such a spectacular find and I’m surprised more people don’t know about this place. We were originally planning on swinging down to the Phoenix Zoo and I am SO glad we decided to stop here instead. The animals are in beautiful naturalistic exhibits and are obviously well cared for. Our favorites were obviously the Bears and Elk. So many beautiful animals. The drive through portion was peaceful and enjoyable the entire time - we loved the white Bison! The walk through part was just as enjoyable - nestled into beautiful land with mature trees. The layout was very easy to navigate, and frankly larger zoos should take note. Gift shop was amazing - beautiful wooden carvings throughout. They truly pay attention to detail from start to finish. We had my dad with me who requires a wheel chair- they had them right at the front of the walk through portion- FOR FREE!

Avoid this waste of money! It costs $35/person to get in and it is very much not worth it! Anybody who has been to a zoo has seen more animals, and in better habitats. Only positive was that the bears were out and about close to your car, but completely not worth it. Walk through portion has more animals, but not many. Don't fall for this.

The animals were so cool! If had a Jurassic Park feel. My only issue was the cost. For our family of five it was $90. This was with a military discount. The gift shop had a lot of nice stuff in there too.

Awesome day trip for the family. We were able to see all the animals up close driving through. There was also ample parking to walk the park and see more animals. We loved seeing all the bears!

This was a great drive thru on the way to the Grand Canyon. We really only wanted to do the drive thru as we had limited time, your purchase price includes the drive thru and walking tour. It was like $25 per person.

Nice family outing, unfortunately the bears were hibernating and the raptor show was not available. You have to catch a "feeding" to get a good look at some of the animals. The restaurant, while expensive, was quite good and a very interesting venue.

This place was awesome! We drove through and then visited the zoo to walk around, got drinks and food. After a few hours walking around, we got back in the car and drove through again. The animals were great! And the employees were so great as well. I am so happy we made this part of our visit. If you are on the fence - GO!

We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed getting so close to these beautiful creatures. Their habitats were well maintained and the animals all looked healthy. Please t was with the money for sure and we will definitely go back the next time we are in the area. We could've used a little more time as we only had 2 1/2 hours. We arrived right around 5pm and it was not crowded at all. It felt like we had the park to ourselves. All of the animals were out except for the bobcats. I recommend getting there either first thing in the morning or late afternoon in the summer. The restaurant looked really food with lots of great options, but we didn't have time to eat there. It was a little pricey, but so is every other restaurant in the area.

A wonderful family excursion to see wild North American native animals up close and personal! One of the only way to experience a bear just feet away from your car. It was so cool to be this close to animals vs a zoo experience. Very family friendly and the staff and park employees were all very helpful and courteous.

We decided to take the Grandkids to Bearizona and we had a Blast! We got to Bearizona and as soon as you enter the archway you see bears roaming freely. Your told to stay in your car and lock the doors (bears may try and open the door if unlocked. We have an SUV and all the grandkids were able to move around in the back and look out the windows pointing out the bears, searching for the bears napping on the rocks, etc. Very Exciting! They have a many different types of wildlife so its not just bears. They also have a wildlife sanctuary for cubs it was fun to watch the cubs frolic and wrestle. Not expensive for a fun day trip with something for everyone.

We made a trip to Bearizona while we were in Williams. Our 6 year old grandson was so excited and couldn’t wait! Considering the admission price, we thought the drive through section was underwhelming, but were pleasantly surprised by the walkthrough area. The building and grounds were clean and well maintained. The show we saw was entertaining and informative. All in all a good experience.

I'll be real, and I hope I don't offend the (really, really friendly) people working there, but we went in thinking it would be a joke. Like some dude who has a bear that occasionally wanders through his back yard and was charging admission to see it. A hokey roadside attraction, you know? Nope. Turns out it's one of the best zoos I've ever been to, and by FAR the cleanest. Everyone working there was very knowledgeable about the animals, and the animals are very well cared-for. Of all the things we did on our Vegas/Grand Canyon vacation, extending that particular part of our trip and spending a day in Williams and Bearizona ended up, unexpectedly, being our favorite part.

Great drive thru alongside the highway. Make sure you do not have holiday ornaments on your vehicle, as some people did. Got to see a few wolves, bears and so on. At the outdoor park, don't hog the picture opportunities with the Jaguar.

This has evolved to be a great animal park, with the highlight actually being the walking area, not the trip through the bear and wolf area. The cubs in bear kindergarten are much more of a treat than seeing the lazy bears via car. The Sunday fried chicken lunch was extraordinary. It was worth the admission.

I really liked it! The car driving routes between live animals was incredible. The zoo itself is fun!

It’s very good idea to visit this small but interesting nature park on the road to Grand Canyon. You’ll spent there approx 2,5 hours but this time really worth it! There are 2 zones: drive thru and walking. In drive thru zone you may see bears, wolfs, bisons and other wild animals very close to you. It’s fantastic! Walking zone isn’t big but there you can see other animals: grizzly, fox, elks and even leopards!

All ages will enjoy this opportunity to see the animals up close with both the driving safari (your vehicle) & walk-through (zoo-like) options included in your admission. It is not cheap but we felt it was worth the cost as you can circle the park as many times as you wish. We got lucky to see a bear-feeding time the second trip around so they were very active. Bring the kids but leave your personal pets at home. Great gift shop but we did not eat at the restaurant so I can’t comment on that. Note: No live animal shows in March but they are available later in the year I was told.

Had not visited for a few years, went back to see the new features. Drove around the park twice and saw many of the animals. Prices are too high even with discounts for senior citizens. Should not have to pay park admission to eat at the Canyonlands restaurant.

Both, the drive-thru and the walk-through were excellent. We didn't have any of our grand or great grandchildren with us; however, the pet barn section was closed and some of the animal displays were not available.

This place was recommended from a friend. I saw some videos on you tube, but were not impressed. Glad we went. We saw lots of bears (and other animals) and they were right outside our car. We went around 2pm. Most of the animals were out and about and not too busy, we didn't feel rushed through.

Excellent drive through portion and walk through portion. Even with 2 feet of snow on the ground was excellent. The animals have quite a bit of room to roam, but the feeding stations are set up such that the animals were all within view, except the bears who were hibernating (but slightly visible in their dens). The restaurant is actually a work of art. Food was pretty good; the setting made it great. Very reasonable price for entry. They do a lot of rehab and rescue. A very worthy way to spend your money and your day. Highly recommend.

This was an amazing stop in our visit to the Grand Canyon. So cool to see bears, wolves, and bison. It took us 40 min. to drive through the park and then another 45 min. to visit the walking animal enclosures. It is also a great place to spend the day eating and relaxing with children. Highly recommended.

We loved every minute! We drove up from Phoenix. Took the Verde Canyon railroad (also worth the money!), spent the nite at the Iron Horse Inn (a very nice room for a very reasonable price). The next morning we drove to Bearizona. Drove the park twice, walked the walking path and had lunch. We were there 3 hours. We would defiantly do it again!

I loved Bearizona. I was worried in the beginning that we were not going to see any bears and then bears started appearing everywhere. Would definitely recommend to anyone with children. My only downfall is that that the bears are unable to roam free in the wild. They are such incredible creatures.

Alright, Bearizona IS cool. It's neat to drive around and see wild animals wandering the woods around you. It's a fun place to walk around and see other animals in enclosures that are similar-ish to their native habitats. They have interesting gift shops. Kind of zoo-ish for the walk-around part but maybe with less written info about the animals. They have some animal trainers that will bring out birds of prey or porcupines to do some smaller training activities in the green grassy circle near the entrance in lieu of their normal "animal shows" during covid.
All that said, it IS during COVID and I'd say about 3/4 of the staff I saw there couldn't be bothered to wear a mask, even the ones indoors behind the registers. I know AZ has no mask mandate but most private businesses still ask guests and staff to wear them. Not Bearizona! You may find that to be a benefit. I did not.
We went as guests of my parents who wanted to do something cool with their visiting grandkids (their first visit with them since before COVID) and I nearly dragged us all out of there because Bearizona has seemingly no mask policy of any kind for guests or staff. I can sort of understand it for the outside stuff, but to have people selling concessions, sitting behind the counters in the tiny gift shop at the entrance of the walk-through section, or in the indoor restaurant or bar? No thanks. We didn't patronize those areas once we saw no masks. And of course, that also meant that visitors to all of those indoor areas were maskless too.
Had I been visiting with just my kids, we would not have stayed. Out of respect for my parents, we did and tried to make the best of it. Kids had fun in the outside and drive-thru areas but we didn't go into the gift shops, restaurant/bar areas (aside from one quick walk to the restrooms) due to the many, MANY staff people and customers not wearing masks. Feels irresponsible to the health and safety of guests to have no policy at all.
We may return when COVID numbers someday drop significantly, but I am disappointed with Bearizona's lack of policy for their private company.
Also, the foxes in their small enclosure looked very restless and anxious. I hope they will expand its size.

Been planning a visit for 4 years and due to a virus our 2020 plans had to wait, but it was worth it. The drive through is very good, saw a bear up a tree. And the actual zoo bit is brilliant, they have some Grizzly bears that were on top form. Overall this is a great place to go, the wife loved it so much. And alot of the animals (not just bears) are rescued so a good thing too. Do not hesitate, check out Bearizona, it's roarsome!

We got a worker on a power trip the kept using her megaphone to tell us not to linger. You are allowed to linger. So our experience was not 100% , but would recommend if power tripping girl was not working. We did not do the walk though part of the park, because we were just over it at that point. Yes we did speak to someone about the experience.

Of course, the bears were awesome. Nice park. In addition to my grandchildren loving the place the adults were enthralled also. The food at the restaurant was very good, too.

My wife and I hit the road early in the morning and headed north. We used trip advisor to suggest a place to visit in state. We were not disappointed. Most of the animals were out and about and were very active with regards to playing and rough housing with each other. We were able to get some great photos from our vehicle inside the park. As well as some nice pictures of animals in the walking enclosure. Our favorites were the Bison and the Otters.

Glad to visit and support the wildlife. However, the family and I felt the prices were a little high, but again glad to support.

Great place! Very impressed with the entire place. Started with an enjoyable ride through the park with many animals up close and personal! Large, clean habitats. Ended the day with a walking tour and enjoyed many other exhibits. Included with the entrance fee. Beautiful large restaurant and many outdoor food and snack vendors. Lots of shade and seating. They even have events going on live for the young kids to enjoy!

We had a great time at Bearizona. Our youngest (10 years) was getting a little worn out from the hiking we'd been doing earlier. He is also not used to the heat. Driving through Bearizona was something we could do from our air-conditioned van! We drove through 3 times! So while it may be pricey, we felt the experience was worth it. Our teenager enjoyed it as well.
We saw bears playing with each other in the water and climbing trees. All of the animals were amazing. We also enjoyed the white bison and the mountain goats.
We also enjoyed the part of the zoo that is a more traditional zoo.

Incredible driving and walking experience. My kids were in awe of the up close encounters with the wildlife. This is truly a must-see! Everyone was so friendly, and we got an impromptu personal tour from the manager. We loved every minute of it!

Another nice visit! We sort of have visiting figured out now. First we drive thru, earlier the better since the animals seem to be more active earlier. Then we do the walking portion of the park. Then we do the drive thru again and finish with a visit to the restaurant and gift shop. While we’re were visiting they had a 10% discount for the sit down restaurant for down loading the Bearizona App. The app notified us of an animal show at the main stage park plaza which we were able to see. Very interesting.
The weather right after 4th of July was very nice making our visit extra nice.

Very nice wildlife facility. The animals all look very well cared for and content in their surroundings. We really enjoyed watching all the bears, some playing, some sleeping, some splashing in their pools. If you're in the area, I'd highly recommend a few hours are Bearizona!

We heard so many great things about Beraizona that we had to see for ourselves. We were not disappointed it was wonderful and great for all ages. They even had complimentary strollers and wheelchairs so everyone can enjoy their visit.

Great experience. You can drive around, spending as much time as you want. There is a fenced trail that ensures you get all the photos up close and personal.

Wasn’t worth the $120 admission price. The drive through park itself wasn’t super interesting but the kids liked it. Way overpriced. I think half the price would be reasonable. I wouldn’t recommend. So many natural wonders to see for way less money.

For years I have noticed the signs for Bearizona whenever traveling on I 40 across Arizona, but it was only on my recent visit to the area that I finally decided to put a visit here on my "to do" list. I was not disappointed! Both the drive through as well as the walk through experiences were terrific and enjoyable. Although I was there by myself, I highly recommend it as a great stop for families and groups. It was a fascinating to see all the bears up close, and there are a wide variety of other wild animals to see and experience here as well. The park is very well cared for and there is a large gift store as well as lots of food options. The stop made my day, and I would definitely be up to going there again on future trips to Arizona.

I spent the night in Williams, Az. and the next morning I was there just before 8 a.m. just as they were opening the gates. Only one car in front of me. What a neat place to go see one of natures best drive though to see all these magnificent creatures. Bears, wolves, Bison etc, etc. So nice I drove through a second time. Afterwards, I parked and walked though the other exhibits on foot. Well worth the visit!! Would highly recommended going though this Bearizona.

Loved the drive through! We were able to see most of the animals...some were a little shy, apparently. The three bear cubs playing was adorable! I wish we could have stopped to take a video (that's not allowed). We thoroughly enjoyed the walk through as well. We had out of state relatives visiting and they were very happy about the experience.

Nice drive through area. We didn't have time to go through the "regular' zoo area, but were happy with what we did. So many animals and most of all, they looked healthy! Easy to see most of them.

One of the best places we visited during our trip was an incredible drive-through wildlife habitat. We loved the breathtaking views and the unique opportunity to see the animals up close, which allowed us to take many amazing pictures. Bringing our dogs along made the experience even more enjoyable, as they could join us for the entire drive.
The convenience of staying in our vehicle while observing the wildlife made the visit comfortable and stress-free. The variety of animals we encountered was impressive, and we are already looking forward to returning at a different time of year to see even more species.
Overall, this destination is perfect for anyone who loves nature and wants a unique and memorable experience. We highly recommend it and can't wait to go back!

This place is great! A neat trip through nature. There are two paths: driving and walking , they are included in the entry fee! Plan on a slow drive as there was numerous animals to see. The bear cooling off in the pond was hilarious, among other things!
The walking tour was set up a comfortable stroll.a lot of the animals were out! The gift shops, restaurants were very good . I recommend the pulled pork nacho!, a meal all to its self!
Worth the stop!

We came today and there wasn’t any animals it was such a disapointment ! I came here 3 years ago during winter and it was such a different experience there was animals walking around and this time I didnt even see any asleep idont know where they went

We were skeptical about visiting the Bearizona Zoo, as $30 per person (Nov. 2023) is not a small price. We did not regret the visit, as we saw a lot of animals. Driving through a zoo in a car is something different. You can drive through the park as many times as you want. That makes sense, especially if you haven't seen that many animals on the first round.
The part you do on foot was also interesting, even if it is similar to the "normal" zoos. I liked that you only see animals from North America. I liked the herd of bison and the bears in their cave the most. Of course you need luck to see a lot of animals. I found the zoo interesting, but in my opinion it is not an absolute must. It is not exactly cheap and you can see many of these animals in the usual zoos too.

We stopped here on our final day in Williams. The drive through portion was neat but be sure to also stop by and check out the walk through area. It’s a must for families or animal lovers.

A combination drive through and walk through zoo, we got the best of both worlds. The wildlife was not as exotic as the North Carolina Zoo we went to in January, but the bears, bison, mountain goats, reindeer, donkeys, arctic wolves, red fox, badger, bobcat, leopards, elk and other wildlife (that we have on or next to our 80 acres back home) deserved our admission fees. It was a Friday so not crowded, but well attended. Many of the concessions were not open.

I highly recommend coming here! It was so fun and exciting my kids didn’t want to leave. Also the animals look so happy and healthy way better than any zoo I’ve ever been to. It is a little spendy what worth it as the animals seems so happy & well fed. The bears playing were our favorite part.

This is a drive through zoo/safari park which also has traditional zoo type exhibits for a few animals. I think where Bearizona shines the most though is the communal spaces with the food shacks, food trucks/beer trucks and live music. The atmosphere was very relaxing. The gift shop is great too.

This is a nice little wildlife park. You drive through part of it and walk through part of it. I originally thought this was a little pricey but it’s very well done. Very clean. Easy to walk around. Plenty of places to sit, eat and drink or relax. After 3 days in the park it was nice to do something different.

We went not expecting much, maybe that it would be cheesy but boy were we surprised. You get to drive through the forest where the animals are free to roam without cage restrictions. This was an amazing way to see the animals. BTW, take the little loops when they present themselves because it will sometimes get you much closer to the animals. After you drive though the park, you get to walk through additional animal exhibit more like a zoo area. This park is so well done and beautifully kept. This is a definite to do if you're in the area.

A hidden gem. We had a wonderful time and those bears are so cute and crafty! Was not sure what to expect but was extremely glad we visited, wouldn't have missed it for anything.

Decided to stop here on our way out of Williams and we were happy we did. We got the park right at 9 AM when they opened. Lots of the animals were up and moving and TONS of bears to be seen. We did the drive-through twice, but you can do it as many times as you can. There’s a lot of animals inside that you can see as well. A little pricey, but then again, so, so is everything now. My kids loved it and we all had fun. Spent about 3 hours there.

This is my favorite place! Whenever I have a chance, I travel to Bearizona to see the animals. They have a drive-through and a walk-through area. They are constantly upgrading the animal habitats and even adding new ones. The grizzlies will entertain you for hours! The animals are obviously loved, and it doesn’t feel like a zoo at all! This is my #1 vacation destination’

We went here to kill a few hours before our hotel check in after leaving the Grand Canyon early to avoid a winter storm. I have to say I usually hate zoos but I was really impressed by this place. 100% worth the admission for 3. The snow was coming down like crazy when we were there but the animals were active and it was perfect snowball weather. We had concessions of hot chocolate and soft pretzels. They also serve beer and wine. So much fun and the perfect snowball weather!

When our grandkids are in town, we make every effort we can to take them to Bearizona.
This place is special and is in a beautiful setting. The drive through the park is about 30 - 45 minutes, depending on the crowd and how fast you want to see it. The animals are in their natural habitat and appear very well taken care of. If you're lucky, you'll get to see the bears doing something hilarious, like taking a bath, wrestling, or just being lazy.
The variety of animals is also great. From bears to bighorn sheep, they're all great.
Once the drive through the park has been completed, you can park and go into the exhibit area where they have different wildlife shows and exhibits.
The park is very clean and well kept. The snack bar is great. Try the 'funnel cake fries'! Delicious! The snack bar personnel were also amazing and friendly.
Well done, Bearizona! We'll be back!

We just took our nine year old grandson to Bearizona for his first time. Each time we go we see improvements to the facilities. We drove through first and the again at the end of the day. In the latter drive the animals were being fed and were very active. In between we watched the shows , ate in the restaurant and visited all the exhibits. Well worth a visit, folks!

This was a great spur of the moment activity. It was great to see the animals in their environment! We only did the drive through portion. Wish they offered different prices based on what you wanted to do.

Bearizona was amazing! We decided on a whim to stop here on our drive from the Grand Canyon to Death Valley and we are so glad we did! The Animals were active and close to the drive. The walk through part was nice as well. Very clean and the people were very friendly!

We arrived early afternoon and the animals were active all day! Bears, otters, wolves, and more. It was a bit pricey to enter but my very young grandchildren were engaged by all the animal sightings. It was great.
Fun drive
Took a nice 90 minute drive through with a stop on the site as well to navigate the gift shop and restaurant. Super fun.
