We didn't know what to expect when we visited with friends, but we enjoyed it. This free "Library" is similar to a Presidential library in that it provides information about Billy Graham's various aspects of his ministry. It's interesting how the flow takes a guest from room to room to learn Mr. Graham's history. All in all, it was well laid out and enjoyed the 2-1/2 hours we spent there.

Glad I went. However, my beliefs are different. I don't care for institutions that seem to worship preachers.

I have passed thru Charlotte on I-85 for years and have seen the signs about the Billy Graham Library. Praise God the Lord directed me to stop this time. Experiencing the videos, photographs, memorabilia, and exhibits of this great man and his family was enlightening! The gift shop is filled with all types of souvenirs including books, CDs, jewelry, wall plaques, etc. There is a snack bar for visitors who get hungry. The restrooms are clean. The volunteers/staff are friendly and helpful. You can visit Rev. Graham's childhood home on the grounds of the library. Also, Rev. Graham and his wife Ruth are buried on the grounds as well in a beautiful, peaceful garden area. I cannot say enough about this beautiful Library!

A must see. You learn about Mr. Grahams upbringing and see this heart for the LORD. His message is always the same, even today. Visit to find out.

The experience was simply amazing from start to finish! It moved me to tears several times. I feel so blessed to have visited Billy Graham’s childhood home and library .
It was a once in a lifetime experience!

Such a beautiful legacy to the premier evangelist in the world, Billy Graham. Exhibits are first rate, and really tells a wonderful story of Christ's love touching the whole world. I was blessed being there.

My Answer... To a Call?
During my recent visit to the Billy Graham Library, I was quite impressed by what I saw. And while that may not mean much to you who are reading this because I am a common man, my reaction is a culmination from how I grew up observing my mother and grandmother hanging out in front of their radio to hear Billy Graham's messages while I was a child living in the Caribbean.
In my childlike view I had no idea or understanding of the scope of this man's reach. However, that is the beauty of this evangelist's call isn't it?
As I walked through the library I saw where this man was able to reach so many people for The LORD, not simply because of a doctrinal message but ultimately because this ministry was accomplished through obedience to the Biblical principle of Evangelism. An evangelist in a true sense of the word is one who tells the GOOD NEWS that Christ died for us and He provided Salvation for us ALL. This man was always purposed to tell everyone who would listen that God loves and wants to forgive humanity.
This library illustrates how Mr. Graham used a vast network to implement that Call as he broke through barriers around the world: Physical barriers, emotional barriers and spiritual barriers!

A destination not to be missed in Charlotte, this place surpassed all expectations. It effectively communicates a profound message about faith and illustrates a life devoted to spiritual teachings.

We didn't understand the purpose of this place and how it became the number one attraction in Charlotte... If someone enjoys this place and the experience they are either super evangelical, brainwashed, high, or simply naive. I wouldn't recommend to any person with a healthy state of mind. The only nice thing about the experience was the attitude of the staff. They were very respectful.

We visited on our anniversary and so happy we did. We always had the utmost respect for Rev. Graham. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The tour in the library takes up to 2 hours as you go through the Journey of Faith walking you through the Graham's life and work for the Lord. There are workers available to have prayer with anyone who desires it. Ruth's Attic bookstore has wide selection at reasonable prices. There is a small restaurant also in the library. We walked the grounds and went through his old home place. We spent approximately 3 hours. I highly recommend you visit the Library. To see the far reaching effect of one person who was willing to accept the call on his life and affect literally the world for Christ is inspiring.

Like most places thats become tourist attractions. This location is no different. Very nicely put together and they offer things for kids with the talking cow and the place is set up with the original desk from Billy Graham which gives you a nice prospective of the way of his life.

Well worth the trip. I will go again and again. There is something for the entire family. I especially enjoyed walking through the old homestead.

First I will say if you are not interested in Billy Graham's life and how he became who he was; then this may not be for you. It is the story of his life plain and simple. But if your heart is open and you want to learn more about this amazing ambassador for God then this is your place. This is a spiritual journey. It is a structured tour, so if that's not your thing either then be prepared. If you were allowed to just wander through you might miss the point of the entire thing- to learn about God's love for you and how he died for you. This place is amazing and the message is there if you want to receive it. I learned so many things about him that I did not know. He was truly called of God and served God well through his life- his impact on people from all avenues of life is very evident throughout the entire place. We take our freedom to believe for granted and that becomes so evident as you watch and look at photos of people climbing on top of buildings just to be able to hear the gospel. May we never take this freedom for granted. One of the most moving features is walking through the cross to the gorgeous painting on the other side. I never felt pressured; but prayer and counsel is available if you need or want at anytime. I loved my journey and will be returning with friends soon.

We've visited several times, with our most recent visit being a few weeks ago. The grounds are beautiful. The grave sites are beautiful as well as inspiring. Rev. Graham's boyhood home is there. Very well preserved and interesting. The Center itself is attractive and inspiring too. My wife gave her heart to the Lord at one of Rev. Graham's crusades in Boston in 1982, so he has a special place in her life. Each exhibit is choronicaled very well, is extremely interesting, and really well done. There is an exhibit honoring his wife, Ruth, that was really good. Great book store and cafe. The only thing I was a bit uneasy about is the almost insistence of the workers to go through every exhibit and not leave the order of exhibits at all. Though nice, the pressure to stay that they gave to one mother whos child was getting a bit restless created a bit of an uneasy feeling to all of us in the room at one of the visits. It was like the air got sucked out of the room. I've been a Christian for 38 years and I try to put myself in the shoes of an unbeliever in situations like this. If I was an unbeliever, the insistence/pressure part wouldn't have set well with me at all. I totally understand their wanting everyone to get the whole experience. Trust me, I understand. But it should be balanced with respect to others as to their personal needs/desires to leave early if they wish, not have to provide a "reason" as to their early departure, and not push someone to stay. Just ease up a little, that's all. I wanted to give 5 stars, but felt I couldn't after the uneasiness of the situation of pressuring. Aside from that, a non-believer who doesn't have religious prejudices would enjoy the Center. Everyone is friendly. Would highly recommend.

We recently spent the day at the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte. It is a beautiful museum and tribute to Billy Graham, his life and mission. It is the story of his amazing life and love of God and people. There is a bookstore and cafeteria at the end of the tour/exhibit. I highly recommend.

I was not disappointed in this exhibit. I learned a great deal about Billy Graham’s evangelical mission.

We enjoyed learning about the life of Billy Graham and all the life events and people he influenced. Talking Bessy is a riot and the many rooms that you visit to gather information is done in a fun way. Do not miss this!

We were so glad that we planned this trip! It was our sole purpose in visiting Charlotte, but we also enjoyed the friendly down home feel of Charlotte. We spent 3 hrs enjoying the tour and the home place and a walk through the gardens. It would be difficult to do in less than 2 hours. The staff was helpful in keeping the group moving, but I did not feel overly rushed. The story of Billy Graham’s life is inspiring and not preachy. Don’t miss an opportunity to hear about this great pastor, his humble beginnings, and his surrender to faithfully guide presidents and share the Gospel with millions.

Absolutely beautiful. It was the highlight of my trip to Charlotte. Mr Graham’s life was worth capturing in this way. His ministry and commitment to God is inspirational and humbling. Even a mon Christian would enjoy the visit. Another note, The staff is very friendly and helpful. The tour is well organized.

A must see in Charlotte! The walk-through museum does an incredible job at telling the story of Billy’s life and legacy. He truly changed the world and it is so important to keep his impact front and center. We also enjoyed walking the grounds and seeing the gardens. I attended the museum with my 11-year-old son and we finished our visit with ice cream.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well thought-out and good this library is. It was the highlight of our trip to Virginia and North Carolina. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area as a must-see.

His large collection of books and how one man impacted the world the way he did.
His quaint house is adjacent to the library. Memories with his family made in that home.
Billy Graham and his wife grave sites are also on the property.
warm friendly staff and beautiful restaurant.

This is a MUST DO for anyone coming to Charlotte, especially if you are a Christian. Even if you are not, seeing the life of Billy Graham and how he came to meet his wife and about her life is very interesting. Great thing to do at Christmas, as well.

Definitely make time to visit the Billy Graham Library if you are in Charlotte. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and the tour inside Billy Graham's boyhood home is very special. The library has excellent video and memorabilia displays that give visitors a full picture of the amazing life of this very special man and his family. Billy and Ruth Graham's gravesites are located on the grounds a short walk from the library entrance. All of the docents are very kind and helpful. There is a gift shop and cafe on-site.

This place is fabulous! Such a wonderful job they have done. The Journey of Faith takes you along with Billy Graham and him preaching to millions around the world.
You can feel the presence of God throughout the building.
The main building is in shape of a barn with a huge cross over the main entrance.
Mr. Graham was raised in Charlotte on a dairy farm.
The staff and volunteers are very kind and pleasant.
This is a very spiritual place.
There’s also a nice lunch bar and a delightful gift shop called ‘Ruth’s Attic’. Mrs Graham was Ruth
Also on the grounds are the final resting place of Dr. and Mrs, Graham, Cliff Barrows and Mrs, Barrows, Mr, and Mrs. George Beverly Shae.
I highly recommend this place. It’s probably the most visited attraction in Charlotte.

This has been on my bucket list for awhile and I had the opportunity to go while I was in the area and I took it . Beautiful site and the buildings were absolutely stunning all dressed for Christmas. The homestead reminded me of our grandparents homes. I wish I could have stayed for the live nativity and carriage ride, maybe next time. Highly recommend going as soon as you can. You will leave in a very peaceful spirit.

It's really memorable. Very respectful and engaging facility with an interesting presentation of Billy Graham's life and legacy.

Some of the sweetest people you have ever met are working at The Billy Graham Library. We were able to visit both Billy and Ruth burial sites as well as tour the homestead of Rev. Billy Graham. There's some good eating at the Graham Brothers Dairy Bar too!!

Wow—amazing place. Free entry. An enlightening tour that lasts about an hour. Really worth visiting. Had lunch there as well at a very reasonable price and quite tasty. A couple miles from the airport. A 1st class facility that I would highly recommend if in town or if have extra time before catching a flight.

We went as part of our 25th anniv. trip. It is free and soo inspirational and humbling. Ruth Graham is a personal inspiration to me as a pastor's wife and mother. The parts of the what I call the museum are amazing and soo beautiful. I do not recommend bringing children under 10 as they don't understand who he was or what they are seeing. We got stuck in a group with 5 kids and my husband was very annoyed at the noise they were making and he couldn't hear. I highly highly recommend this place for adults who know and understand who Billy Graham was. The house he grew up in was neat to. We weren't able to see Billy and Ruth's graves as it was pouring. The bookstore is amazing!!!

The Billy Graham Library is a must-see attraction if you're interested in the Graham family history. During Christmas, it is especially beautiful. There is a live manger scene with animals ~ donkeys, camels, etc. Kids LOVE this!! The Library also provides horse-drawn carriage rides if you want something as a couple. You can purchase hot chocolate and baked goodies outside. This attraction is fantastic for pictures as well in the evening during winter.
Overall, I loved my experience here and would recommend it.

What a beautiful and inspirational place to visit! The library was so very well done - colorful, interesting and engaging. And admission is FREE!!

I had an amazing experience at the Billy Graham Library! I came with my mother from out of town, and she absolutely loved it. The tour was very informative and powerful, and the staff could not have been more welcoming and loving. The library is an amazing place to bring out of town guests, I will for sure be coming back!

This was a wonderful destination, very well done. It’s well staffed, clean, and easy to get to. Admission is free, and there is much to see, really a museum. I was there for about an hour and a half, but could have stayed longer. I didn’t have time to walk the grounds or tour the house. I would definitely come back again.

The grounds were immaculate and the staff was very friendly and accommodating of the guests. The exhibits were laid out nice and told his story from beginning to end. The tour does have some films of his to watch. So it takes some time to get through everything.

Although it is called a “library,” this place is also a wonderful museum of the life and ministry of Billy Graham and the people he worked with. With free admission, free parking, and super nice employees, the buildings are definitely worth a visit! The main barn-shaped building contains the “Journey of Faith,” a tour of several rooms with state-of-the-art large screen videos and high-quality displays with photos and information of his many accomplishments. The reconstructed home from his childhood years in Charlotte is decorated realistically, with many of the original building materials, furnishings, and memorabilia. Ruth’s Attic bookstore contains unique gifts and books that provide evidence of his wife’s priority of great literature. High on the walls are built-in bookshelves containing books from Billy Graham’s own personal library. Other nice features of this place are the dairy bar which also has delicious lunch items, and the nearby (down a street) Billy Graham Archive & Research Center with sermons, videos, historical records, and other ministry materials, some of which are also available to view online. Very inspiring place!

Such a wonderful Christmas spot to take the family. Rich in Judeo-Christian history and tradition, steeped in love, grace, and mercy. You can most definitely add this to the list alongside a trip to see Santa and Christmas Town lights!

Lived, lived, lived this Library. Well thought out exhibits. Great mix of video and exhibit pieces. Educational. I could feel Jesus in this place. Chicken Salad Sandwich was great. I hD my sandwich on white bread and not croissant. Staff/Volunteers were wonderful. Bought too many books for the plane but lived the Ruth’s Attic boutique. This is definitely a must see. What a fabulous way to remember a wonderful man who walked the walk and taught other’s how to be saved by Jesus and live a good, Christian life.

This is a one place everyone should visit at least once in your lifetime. To see the life of evangelist Billy Graham on display, with artifacts, old home place and the beautiful gardens were priceless.

I recently visited the Billy Graham Library with a friend during a reunion weekend in Charlotte . We hadn’t seen each other in 10 years and wanted to share this experience . Driving into the grounds of the Billy Graham Library, we felt like we left the world behind and entered a beautiful place of peace and tranquility . From the lovely flowers and trees to the soft music playing throughout the grounds , we immediately saw the thoughtful care and attention to every detail that has been poured into this sacred place.
The Barn houses the library/museum which tells Billy Graham’s story but more importantly shares the message Billy Graham brought to millions of people throughout the world .
We enjoyed seeing the house where “Billy Frank” grew up and hearing stories about his childhood on the dairy farm.
Our visit was capped off with delicious sandwiches in the cafe.
The whole experience was wonderful and spiritually uplifting .

This was a very eye opening experience for me and my wife. I was amazed at his accomplishments, many of which I had never heard of before. It is amazing to me the news coverage of TV preachers who did something wrong but very little coverage of everything Billy Graham accomplished. This is well worth the time spent.

Our family stopped in North Carolina to go to the Library and then we headed on towards Flordia. We went with a family of 5 with kids ranging from 10 to 17. I was not keen on going to be honest but my wife really wanted to go. Half way through our time my mind was changed and was engaged but asked are our 10 yr old are you okay and his response was this is awesome dad. By this time he had heard the gospel about 9 times. He has grown up in a Christian home and is a preachers kids. He has wrestled as he is very smart with faith over intellect. By the end he gave his life to the Lord. We left and drove to Flordia and Covid19 broke out and we went home to Canada. We came to the USA so Jared could give his life to the Lord. Billy's homestead was awesome as great as well. Well worth a visit.

Our visit to the Billy Graham Library was way above and beyond our expectation! It covered the life of Billy's evangelism in an outstanding format. The food in their restaurant was very delicious as well! It's a must see if you're in Charlotte!!

I can not say enough great things about this fabulous museum. And it is free. Billy Graham museum is actually called A journey of Faith. It is do well done. What a man of God he was and he was and is loved and respected by so many. It is the #1 place to visit and is worth a trip to Charlotte.

Billy Graham was a great man and amazing preacher. The history presented here is "adoring" to say the least. IT IS ALSO AN EVANGELICAL EFFORT and you should recognize this. The property is peaceful and lovely and in addition to the main exhibition building it holds Billy's parents' home and the graves of Billy and his wife. The place is PACKED with non-stop videos of Billy and his supporters and colleagues.
However, once you enter "the experience" you are essentially "captive" in a process that moves small groups from room to room, each full of videos, photos and every imaginable scrap of material that the Grahams owned. It is not accident that Mrs. Graham wrote an book "Confessions of a Pack Rat".
Near the end, visitors are given forms asking them to consider "Acknowledging Christ as their Savior" and offering counseling at the end of the tour. I did not like the feeling of being "trapped" is the evangelical recruiting machine, even though I am a believer myself.
I suspect that most of the visitors here are already devout believers. For those who are not, it may bring them to faith or it may drive them off.

I thought I was taking my children to a display of Christmas lights but to our surprise we were blessed with a Journey through the life of Billy Graham. It was a pleasant yet unexpected surprise which lead to a Joyful Journey and an enchanted evening. We were treated to a very comfortable bus ride to the Library where viewed a live nativity scene. We then entered the Library and took a tour through the Life of Billy Graham. The tour was terrific, informational, inspirational and encouraging. The Displays were delightfully detailed the guides were gracious and accommodating and the messages were timely, challenging and reflective. This was truly an evening well spent. I look forward to my next visit to the Billy Graham Library and I will bring my whole church and family next time so they too can experience a Joyful Journey.

Highly recommended. 2-3 hours to experience to entire library. Full of information. At the end, there is a book shop and cafeteria. I thought the pork sandwich was awesome.

I actually was there in September 2018 but this review does not give me the option for such a long time ago.
I was in charlotte visiting relatives who brought us to see the Billy Graham Library. There were several interactive elements throughout as you take a walk through his lifetime and his ministry.
What I was impressed with is that the tone of the entire library was not so much lauding his accomplishments as it was continuing his legacy of ministry and soul winning. It really emphasize that as being the purpose of his life and even in death, once you exit the last exhibit there are volunteers there willing to pray with you or give you further information.
It was a very inspirational visit. We were short on time so we did not get to really revel in the serenity of the grounds but hope to do that next time

This is a visit for anyone, not just Christians. You are given the fell for the impact this great man of history had on presidents the music industry, and society as a whole.

What a great visit! From beginning to end you are welcomed and everything is done very well. Impressive! Left ready to carry on the torch more!!

Billy Graham library is a must see when in Charlotte. If we had time for only 1 thing to do , it would be this!

From beginning to end the experience is truly a gift. My first time here and will come again when I am in the area. It is more than the life of Billy. It is the sweet message of the Good News

This is a must see even a go to. When I read the title with Library in it I thought we would go mainly because I grew up in a family that watched and listened to him whenever he was on tv. From the moment that I saw a huge cross in the barn and the well maintained grounds I thought "library" this isn't a library.
The tour in the barn called "walk of faith" is awesome. The first room talks about how you entered the barn at the "foot of the cross" that hit a nerve in me like wow the foot of the cross where Jesus died for me.
Even thought he has passed away his evangelism is still working to spread salvation to all through Jesus Christ.

Billy Graham Library is Magnificent. I definitely would recommend visiting. The customer service is top notch. The grounds are safe and immaculate. The restaurant serves delicious food and very reasonably priced.
You will be impressed. I had tears when I visited

A fantastic way to spend 2 or 3 hours. The presentations are wonderful and the memorabilia is outstanding. The grounds are very peaceful and well maintained. Be sure to have lunch on-site, the food is a real bargain at a fair price.

Great place to visit and learn all about the Graham family, their history and present endeavors. Beautiful place and interesting videos filled with lots of info. The sets in each area are very creative.

I cannot begin to explain the emotions I experienced while taking this journey of Faith. All I know is I wanted to give my life to Christ when I was finished. I have been a lifelong Lutheran and have always felt close to Jesus Christ, but nothing in my many previous spiritual encounters have made me feel the way I did today. Billy, your message still lives!

I made a reservation because I was going to be in the area for work and wanted to see this. Tour was good (I learned a lot) and everyone was very friendly. Love how everyone pointed you to enter at the foot of the cross! Loved the bookstore and had a good sandwich at the dining area.
It was drizzling a little when I left the museum so I was the only one walking to their graves - very peaceful.
I would like to take my parents there sometime. I was a little surprised about how many employees asked and commented on the fact that I was there alone.
Beautiful area.

We visited with friends today. It was very well done. Very inspirational message. The grounds were well keep. Nice Cafe in the library area. We traveled in motor home -RV to library. Parked in the back of the parking lot with no problem. Camped at Carowinds campground about 10 miles from library. We are looking forward to visiting again.

I encouraged my mom to tour the Library bc I found it to be uplifting years ago. Some time passed; and shortly after my mother toured the Library several years later, she called to ask me to forgive her for the way she treated me in childhood. I'd been praying for this for some time as our relationship was strained (I'm @60). I don't know for sure that her visit to the Library assisted her in coming to this decision to ask me for forgiveness. But I am grateful that the Library is open again; and believe God used her time there that day to change her heart.
It is a wonderful Tour, and very inspiring with zero pressure to believe as the Grahams do. But inspiring to all just the same. Thank you BGEA, for allowing us the privilege to see and remember this precious, and kind family's example.

When i planned a visit, i didn't know it was a religious place. I'm from Brazil and had never heard about Billy Graham before. But, with my mind and heart open, took the tour. What an experience! Beautifull history of life, full detailed with photos, videos and memorabilia. I colud even check his passport and found out he had been in Brazil at least 2 times ( 1961 and 1974).
His achievements are great, just check the photo gallery and you'll see him with people of opposites sides ( catholic and orthodox, Rabine and Ayatollah ).
The visit was worthy

I did not plan to visit this place and am so happy to have stopped in between my work meetings. What a wonderful and peaceful place. From the gravesites, to Ruth's praying rock, to their first house...it's a great little place and very spiritual. I adored that people stop and ask to pray with your for anything. I will be back when I have more time to do the tour as intended.

My husband and I visited today. You learn about Billy Graham’s life and the Crusades. You can also visit his childhood home which is in the property.

Well produced overview of the life and times of Billy and Ruth Graham. Travel through various events of their life and the impact they have had on the world and so many individuals as they carried out the great commission. We easily spent 2 hours and didn’t even enjoy the creamery. Time well spent.

Everything made with excellence ! Is an inspiring place. A must see in Charleston. Thank you for such a beautiful place and keep sharing the Word of God through this place.

We had requested a wheelchair and they met us at the bus with one. The history is wonderful and the way they have the flow of each highlighted is excellent. With no cost it is a must to see. The food was well prepared and tasty. There is a lot of walking but they do have places to sit.

The tour and experience were just what was needed on a short vacation. Even though I’m not a regular churchgoer, I truly enjoyed learning about the life and legacy of Billy Graham and his family. However, Bessie, the talking cow, was a little much. The free admission allows everyone a respite time.

We went there this year and enjoyed the lights and the live nativity scene. It was busy but the staff is outstanding and the shuttles did not take long unless you get behind a horse drawn carriage. The house is interesting and the book store quite extensive. Worth making a stop during the holiday season. Make reservations.

I had no idea what to expect, and this surpassed my expectations! Truly wonderful! Interactive displays, plenty of audio and video experiences! The gift shop is fantastic! I was able to get plenty of cute items for my grandkids I am going to visit! I would tell everybody to make a stop here! Darling café!

The are a number of reasons to go see the Billy Graham Library well beyond the absolutely delicious Butterfingers Milkshake served in the Dairy Bar. I was raised a Catholic, married a Methodist, and feel most comfortable when celebrating the Good Lord’s work while hiking thru the woods; this visit was truly spiritual.

This is definitely a must see. The grounds here are absolutely stunning , very beautiful and very humbling. You can feel the love here.

My family and I would like to thank the entire staff for there kindness and outgoing to inform us about everything that was there. The location is very nice and very inspiring. I recommend going and spending some time there. At the end of your you can purchase brunch if you like. Visitors from Ohio.

Well worth the time. I now understand why it is the highest rated Charlotte attraction out of 200 things to do. Staff is extremely knowledgable and gracious, grounds are beautiful, and the museum experience is top notch. Mr. Graham's life story is truly amazing. Would go back again.

Beautiful experience. Truly a tribute to Billy Graham and the work he did to share the Gospel. Very informative and enlightening. Amazing to see the magnitude of influence he had. Simply beautiful.

Very interesting oil review of the Billy Graham Ministry in a large park environment. Well worth visiting while in the Charlotte area.. The Library is also totally free.

Was nice to see the home, graves and library. Nicely done and I'm sure Billy had a lot of insight into how it was to be set up. His goal- to lead as many to Christ as possible. We got to see some of his belongings, but the main goal of this library was his love for Jesus and telling as many about Him that he could. He grew up on a farm and had chores just like the rest of us. Very well done!

The Billy Graham family & ministry really did a fantastic job capturing the life of America’s Pastor: Billy Graham. His humble demeanor and powerful messages helped change generations. Allow a couple hours to see Billy’s home place, the museum, and the beautiful grounds. Great gift shop and cafe. Guaranteed to to feel the same emotion millions over the years have had when the beautiful hymn Just As I Am plays.

Our first visit to Charlotte and checking Google all sites rate Bill Graham Library in the top 2.
Decided to check out we both knew of Billy Graham but only from news clips and media.
Well We spent over 4 hours and walked away with a better understanding of all the entire journey of life dedicated to educating the world
on Christianity.
Go if you are in the area ...it was simply a wonderful place and experience.

This is only about 10 min away from the airport. If you have a lay over of 4 or more hours you'll be fine. They accept donations but its free. It was amazing to see the simple yet profound life of Billy Graham. There are guides but you can also go at your own pace and/or be your own guide. Checking back into any airport can always be unpredictable but if you have the time it will be well spent here.

Far above what I ever expected! It was overwhelmingly emotional! A true joy to experience this opportunity! Well done presentation in every way!
Fun and encouraging for kids ours are 8/10 and they loved every part of the tour as well as doing the scavenger hunt.
Wonderful place!!! Can’t say enough positives!

We were planning a long hike today but were sore from the three previous days of hiking so started looking for something to do in Charlotte as we were passing through. EVERYONE here is so friendly and the entire experience is first rate. No entrance fee. Probably took 2 hours to properly see everything. First 4-6 exhibits are group and timed so you can't just breeze through them, nor would you want to. Highly recommend.

The tour was fantastic. It was inspirational to see how God used Dr Graham throughout his entire life and beyond. Even his funeral was used by God to reach countless millions.

I feel so blessed to have experienced this opportunity. It was an experience with the living God and a wonderful time that left us overwhelmed with God's love for us.

This experience was well worth the trip. You can feel God's presence and it renewed my faith. Learning about Billy Graham's life and legacy was eye-opening and encouraging. It was free to get into the museum and it was more like an attraction. Each room was unique to a particular time frame in his life. Every room had a message that was heart-felt. The staff were welcoming and kind. Great experience, overall!

I took a good friend who was visiting to visit the Graham Library. Every time I go I see something new and interesting. I would consider it a must see if you’re visiting Charlotte. The memorial park is so quiet and peaceful.

A nice place to bring back memories of Billy Graham. The grounds were spotless, along with the buildings. Staff were super nice.

Such a beautiful, inspiring place! If you appreciate the impact one Godly life can have, the Library is a must-see! Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience st the Billy Graham Library. The venue allows visitors to gain a strong understanding of the life and work of Dr. Graham. Well worth the two hours we spent!

Well done and inspiring. Worth the drive from Uptown Charlotte. Focused on the ministry and impact of the Billy Graham Evangelical Ministry. Many pictures and items from a lifetime of crusades. Beautiful grounds and the volunteers are so welcoming!

The Billy Graham library is awesome. It was an awesome presentation of Billy Graham life. The Nascar hall of fame is a wonderful place to go to as well I was a great experience to sit in the seat that the race car driver uses and to be the radio announcer.

After living in the area for 7 years, my husband and I decided to check out the Billy Graham Library. The grounds were beautiful, the house perfectly preserved, and the library was breathtaking. The tour details the life of Billy Graham and the depth and breadth of his impact on people across the world. You will walk away amazed, moved, and inspired.
Also - do not forget to try the apple pie milkshake while you are there - it is made with real apple pie. It is divine!

This was so much more than expected. It was so well done, informative, interesting, and inspiring. They have thought of everything with excellent technology, displays, and communication. They did such a good job of talking about the great Billy Graham and inspiring future generations. Loved it!

We loved the atmosphere and the décor and the message! Such fun. We have been on multiple occasions and loved every time!

The Billy Graham library is an interactive experience. Each room has a video and is created in that time frame. The tour is very well done and worth the hour or so it takes to view the entire library.
There is a gift shop and also a cafe for your pleasure.

I did not know what to expect, so I was very happy when I found out all that this site has to offer. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The place is laid out with the utmost efficiency. I learned a lot about Billy Graham and his family. I thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful gospel background music. The gift/book shop is large and offers so much! I had a good, inexpensive lunch in the cafeteria. There is NO CHARGE to visit the Billy Graham library.

This is definitely worth a visit if you are in the CLT area. We made sure to stop here before our flight from the CLT airport. I would set aside 2 hours for the full tour experience but it is still worth visiting if you can only visit for 20-30 minutes.

I really enjoyed my visit to the Billy Graham Library. I learned a great deal about Billy Graham and his wife Ruth and their wonderful work. The rooms were wonderfully curated and informative. The grounds were impeccably manicured and maintained. The staff members were helpful and informative. This was a worthwhile visit.

We visit at least once a year normally during the holidays. There are always fun activities. Horse drawn carriage rides. Hot chocolate and snacks. Picture opportunities. Live manger scenes with animals. A beautiful campus for peace and prayer.

The main theme is the life of Billy Graham. I think I expected a beautiful chapel but it's more of a theater.

This was the highlight of my trip to Charlotte! We spent a total of 4.5 hours here and probably could’ve spent more if we read every single thing. (Most people went through quicker.) AND masks are NOT required!
The first part of the tour is guided, but then it switches to self-paced and that is where we spent the most time. I learned SO much about Billy Graham, his family, and the amazing things he accomplished. It was so neat to see some of his items - such as a note from when President Richard Nixon paid Billy back for a loan or the letter his then-girlfriend sent requesting permission from her parents to marry Billy.
We wanted to watch all of the videos, so we waited till they restarted to watch them - other people going faster can walk in at any time and move to the next section whenever they want.
His childhood home had also been moved to this area and you can walk through the ground floor - this was less impressive to me because it was basically just a bunch of pictures.
Billy and his wife’s gravesites are also on the property, which was neat to see. His wife’s has a cute message engraved.
The gift shop had so many amazing items! I got t-shirts, tumblers, books, and a calendar. This is a great place for Christmas presents!!
We only got a milkshake and side of potato salad at the restaurant, however they were both really good!
The staff here was so nice, knowledgeable, and accommodating! (With the exception of one older lady that was rude to a coworker then said “have you asked them if they want to put on their mask” literally 2 minutes before we were leaving for the day - so we had been there for more than 4 hours before encountering her. Other than that, no one mentioned masks at all AND the staff was great.)
If you fill out the guest survey, they give you a small gift at the end.
This is 100% somewhere I would go back and would encourage everyone I know to attend!

It was an enlightening as well as uplifting experience to see the results of 60 plus years of ministry. The staff at the library are fantastic.

The number one place anybody who visits Charlotte should go to! Very moving and a life changer. Visit this place… Don’t miss it.

Not an actual library. Just a propaganda museum for one of charlottes most embarrassing citizens. You just pay to do a walk through museum and video outlining a con artist.

The BG Library was at the top of our list for places to visit in Charlotte at we concluded our vacation here. We were so blessed during our visit here. Staff is so friendly! Our tour took about two hours total. I highly recommend this spot!

very beautiful and peaceful place. I like the hole library. It is very comfortable for family and kids. If you go with friends and family for sure you will enjoy it.

Beautiful place to visit. Many rooms with videos of Billy Graham. Hard to skip areas but can be done if you are short on time. Some items have items from his life. His boyhood home moved to the site. Great place to visit. Nice restaurant on site that is decorated well. Hope to return.

We stopped here while in Charlotte and so glad we did! Staff was extremely helpful and informative. The tour is very well laid out with parts showing videos and clips of Mr. Graham’s life and others on your own. Unfortunately it was raining when we were there so the walk to the their graves was very quick. It was interesting learning about his life and seeing the displays of the people he met in his lifetime. God blessed him richly in every aspect of his life. Even if your not a believer go to see this just to learn about Mr. Graham and his lifelong passion for God.

I have gone to visit several times. We could not take it all in one visit. Yes, you can walk the complete grounds; but the impact of his experience over his life time & the world. You need several visits.

Had a great visit. I only had about an hour to go through the exhibits (due to car rental taking 3+ hours to get me a car! and dinner plans in Asheville) but enjoyed what I did have time to see. I had reserved for 11:18 but didn't arrive until just after 2pm. Staff was very friendly & let me join the next group -- no problems at all. Would love to go back & have the time to read things. Did visit the graves -- very plain --demonstrates the humility of Rev Graham.

There is much more to this than you expect. Extremely well run and very nice flow. Something for all ages, kids are given materials for a scavenger hunt, the café has the best milk shakes ever! Very high quality food but very well priced so take the whole family! The tour is wonderfully done, so much history included. One of the most peaceful and inspirational visits we’ve ever experienced. The staff is amazing and Ruth’s Attic offers a great shopping experience with wonderful and unique gifts, great for Christmas shopping. This place will not disappoint and will far exceed expectations. You will find people from all over the world visiting and paying honor and respect to a man who truly impacted the world.

Great experience here at the Billy Graham Library. Beautiful campus and free to go on top of that. The people who work here honestly are nicer than chick Fil a workers, which is crazy. I am so glad we went to see the life and history of one of the most influential evangelists of his generation. If you are in Charlotte on vacation definitely go here!

I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone! Everyone should come here at least once. Excellent presentations and artifacts, easy to walk around...just excellent all around and so blessed by our visit.

I absolutely love this place. I've been a couple of times and am hoping to be able to go again. It is an amazing experience for kids, teens, and adults.

This is a truly classy and well documented museum dedicated to the life of a man determined to faithfully serve God through out the course of his life. As you move from one exhibit to the next, you will see how God clearly guided and provided for him throughout the course of his ministry. I was afraid the mechanical cow at the beginning would be a little silly, but it was a fun light-hearted way to introduce his childhood and contrasted the seriousness he took to his call to the ministry. The point of a simple farmer's son becoming a world evangelist is clear. Each exhibit detailed each portion of his life, but it is always clear the reason for his work. We see how he boldly proclaimed the truth to celebrities of the day. They can't say they never heard the true Gospel! The Gospel presentation at the end is powerful and anointed. I was moved deeply. The Graham Brothers cafe served tasty and filling sandwiches at a reasonable price. I enjoyed the chicken salad wrap! The prayer garden which includes the graves of the Grahams was a classy touch. The is a sweet spirit there.
This is a highly recommended place to visit. It is only a short ride off I-85 and time we'll spent.

This is a place. I’ve always wanted to see and finally got the chance.
I highly recommend this for anybody, it was such a blessing!

We went to the Billy Graham library not knowing what to expect. We brought along our two small children and we had a wonderful visit. The staff are all very friendly and the tour takes you room by room with really great themes in each. My children participated in the scavenger hunt and really enjoyed Bessie. We had lunch in the cafe and the food was good and prices were reasonable. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. My husband and I look forward to returning so we can spend more time going over the self guided rooms. One worker even sang to us as we were leaving! What a wonderful day and a reminder in these hard days that God is still with us!

Such a peaceful place, how can one not focus on God. There is so much love and joy here, especially at Christmas Advent season. This library, is a living testimony and history of Billy Graham as he followed his calling. Such an impact here but all over the world.
Covid 19 rules and regs. Were in place. Small groups, plenty of room.

I loved this place. It is free to go to. The staff was super nice. The grounds are beautiful. We watched all the videos on Billy's life. I really enjoyed it. The technology is amazing.

Very special visit and a feel for how special the Graham family is. I highly recommend a visit Good history of his ministry and family background. Lots of pictures and a good video of his early talks and tent gatherings across the country and world

This was a last minute add to our trip. The youth really enjoyed the tour. I would make sure to allocate enough time because the tour itself can last up to two hours long. It is a great experience. They also have a restaurant on campus and they do not allow outside food.

My best friend and I were there at the end of October 2019. We were greeted by an employee who sang us a welcome song. "So Glad You're Here" was the song he sang in the most beautiful voice. The greeters were kind and informative. The entire tour was interesting and eye opening regarding the work and ministry of William "Billy" Graham. There is a bookstore with all sorts of books and Bibles and souvenirs. I did not eat at the restaurant only because I had other plans for lunch but it smelled wonderful. Do not neglect to see the house that he grew up in. This is a free tour but please leave a DONATION of at least $20.00. Its worth it!!

Good local museum / library providing a broad summary of BG's life "on a mission from God". Great local boy who was truly a man of the world. Tour is a structured walkthrough of his life and preaching with a mix of presenters, videos, and artifacts - well done. OK cafeteria to grab a bite, covered outside seating is available out a back exit if weather cooperates. Family home is a brief spot but also provides some good info on his early family life.

The Billy Graham Library depicts a beautiful story about a passionate man who gave his all to transfer his world in a positive manner. He loved his faith and his family; this was very inspiring. No matter what your religious views or denominational background may be, his life was one worth respecting, honoring, and learning from.

I can't say enough about the Bill Graham Library! It is beautifully maintained, with every inch of this place rich in history, meditation, information and friendly people. I had high expectations due to reports of my friends who had been, but still was amazed at how this experience impacted my husband and I. Great for kids and adults. Great food at the Cafe and you'll leave with a smile. FREE !!

Left there full with a feeling of peace and serenity!
Even if you are not a christian you will appreciate this life of devotion which resonates with America recent history.
I learn a lot during this interactive tour, so well done and organized.
The venue as a huge parking lot, you are greet at the door, its FREE and the place is peaceful, green and clean as only heaven can be!

The grounds are beautiful, the library informative and overall we enjoyed our visit. Just didn't feel comfortable with the constant, yet subtle pressure and encouragement to join the evangelical movement. A few times we felt somewhat "trapped" in seeing/hearing some lecture/mission pontifications on the evangelical mission, when what we really came for, was to learn about Billy Graham's life, not be converted. Volunteers are very kind and pleasant, but seem to be on a mission to spread the good word and bring us into the fold. Just didn't like that aspect of our visit, but respect their attempts.

The bright spot of our visit to Charlotte. Don't miss this place. It is a well developed tribute to Jesus Christ by the Graham family. I was pleased and uplifted by the experience.

We went back in April 2019 with friends in the area. We all loved it. I was amazed by the stories and humility of such a fine man and family. I was raised watching him with my father and it was wonderful seeing all that God inspired him to do! I would go again for sure!

So beautiful, the buildings and grounds....you begin with a visit thru Mr Graham's family home; then you are totally sincerely greeted along the walk to the Museum....so fresh, clean, quietly with Christian music in the background....the hostess places you into a tour group;but once you finish the first "room" in the tour, one can essentially go thru as slowly as you need to "take it all in"....there are posters, photos; memorabilia; various stories of his life are offered in non annoying means of video tech....I learned so much; I cried...I doubt that young children could stay quiet and behaved thru this long presentation in all honesty..we would run in to young teens often and they appeared to be really enjoying it all. Your tour ends in their marvelous Christian bookstore....save time for that! Also in the building there is a nice cafe....outside, there are several nice paved walks; leading to the Grahams' gravesite and those of George Beverly Shea and the Barrows. I can't say enough about this inspirational experience.

We spent about 4 hours at the Library including lunch and the time flew. Mr. Graham’s impact around the globe is mind boggling. We thoroughly enjoyed learning the whole story of his life and his work to spread the Good News. What a humble yet powerful man! The Library is well organized; the staff is kind and helpful; every aspect was first class. We had been wanting to visit the Library for a long time. We’re so glad we finally were able to go.

5 ou of 5
1. Staff was knowledgeable, attentive and you could tell it wasn't just a job it's was a mission to show Christ to people through Billy Graham ministry.
2. The flow of museum was based on how he grew up, how and when he accepted Christ, how he surrendered to preach, met his wife, had family and preached the gospel to many. An amazing well thought out tribute to a legend for Christ that believed our sole purpose on earth is to bring the lost to Jesus. Our church group young and old loved it. They gave a tribute to Graham but it was done so tastefully that you left knowing that Graham just wanted to see souls saved!
The animation from the cow in the beginning, to the holograms and mock tent revival set up was so amazing.
You will not regret going. Its amazing! I liked it better than the ark.

We have lived in Charlotte for 6 years but have never seemed to manage to make it here or buy tickets before they sold out. This year I started watching out in early November for ticket sales and we bought them right away. We went for everything. First thing we did was go in and have the tour. It was wonderful. Very informative and uplifting. Then we went over for the dinner. It was delicious. It was a buffet and they serve you. You get plenty of food and we left stuffed. You get your choice of turkey or ham or both. We both enjoyed the turkey more. You get gravy, stuffing, green beans, sweet potato casserole rolls and a salad. The salad was delicious. You also get on the table. There are pieces of red velvet cake or a cheesecake. That was the best cheesecake I've ever had in my life. It was delicious. There are also pictures of water and unsweet and sweet tea on the table. You sit at a table of 8 or 10 people so you are sitting with people you don't know unless you come with a large party. It was very fun and the people were friendly. After that we went over and walked the grounds a little bit. You get to go into Billy Graham's home that he grew up on. They actually moved the original house over and it is fun to see. They also have a live nativity scene with all the animals. We finished the night by going on a horse carriage ride. It was fun to do once, but I wouldn't do again. It was a very short ride around the grounds and you don't really see very much and it is pretty short. It was fun to do once. Overall. This is a very enjoyable night out.

What an unexpected treasure. Not so much a library as the story of God weaving his story across generations and nations. It was a really well created multimedia experience that took you right back to the farm Billy Graham grew up on and out into the nations. Don't miss the graves of Billy and his wife worth the short walk. Lots of staff and volunteers ready to help and pray with you as well

It was more than what I expected. There is so much to do and learn about this great man that has accomplished so much and met so many presidents and important people but yet so humble. They have cute restaurant, gift shop and so much more. They should change the name from library to Billy Graham world day park or Museum. I love it. We can not wait to go back again

Everyone who is a Christian needs to see this! The grounds are beautiful & you can feel Gods presence from the minute you walk in. I chose not to do the tour and just roamed freely. They have a cute bookstore & a restauraunt inside. They also offered to pray with me while I was there. So glad I went here

What a wonderful place to experience the Holy Spirit. Great information wonderful people. Highly recommend, visit Billy Graham Library.

I stopped here because it was close to the airport and I had a few hours before a meeting. I was curious about this, the photos on Trip Advisor looked cool and I remember when Billy Graham preached on TV. This is a pretty big place with a bookshop, cafe and lots of exhibits. The first few are video based and you go through with group at their pace which I found mildly annoying. The exhibits are interesting and the history fascinating, but the Graham historical home is just so-so. There are other things I would probably do rather than this in Charlotte but your mileage may vary.

I visited the BGL at Christmas, took a horse and carriage ride, toured the property, enjoyed some hot chocolate and listened to the carolers. This is definitely a Bucket List place. The work he and his family did and continue to do is powerful to see. If you like to feel festive and make special memories, put this on your calendar!

I am not a huge Billy Graham fan, but as a person of faith, can certainly appreciate the breadth, depth and integrity of his ministry, and realize that we all stand on his shoulders. So we had no idea what the library was but saw the signs for it on the road and decided to just swing by and check it out. It is actually very much worth the visit. We saw part of his collection of books and his office reconstructed. We didn't have much time so skipped most of the videos but had a great lunch there. Probably the most moving was a display about Billy lying in state under the Capitol Rotunda in DC. A really neat place to visit.

A beautiful experience. The displays were professionally created and presented. This experience was more than a mere museum and history of Billy Graham's life and ministry. We were entranced in every gallery. The two hours we allotted were inadequate, so we plan another visit in the spring.

This was a spontaneous stop that we completely enjoyed. It's very educational, and while heavily religious it's not in your face. Two issues...we made a donation, and have been inundated with mailings for more money. That's not what we expected or desire. We've also tried to make a gift shoppe exchange without success.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. It was nice to hear from the guide that the entire house was moved from a place about 3 miles away to the current site. Most of everything was preserved will intact. We enjoyed the memorabilia.

Staff were both very friendly and helpful. Brouhgt back many meories. Grandchildren enjoyed the dairy bar!

Had a great time there with family very interesting history of billy graham and his family and life my little one loved the tall cow

Very touching and informative tour. The hosts are very friendly. The exhibitions well done. We have visited the library twice and will likely visit again

Wonderful museum. I enjoyed learning about the life of Billy Graham. Every volunteer and worker I encountered was friendly. Free admission. I recommend spending some time after your tour seeing the beautiful grounds and gardens.

Thought it was very well done to share the life of an historical figure. I left feeling more positive about the man and his mission. You're carefully moved through the library (with doors closing behind you). Tons of videos to watch and lots of interesting facts and memorabilia. I found it a tad repetitious towards the end, but still enjoyed the visit. Staff could not be friendlier.

The Billy Graham Library is more of a museum than a library. It is a well-paced couple of hours with lots of interesting tidbits. It is inspirational, but not preachy. You learn about Billy and Ruth Graham, and get to see what life was like for them during Billy's ministry. My favorite part was clips of interviews he did with people like Woody Allen and Phil Donahue - the way he answered probing questions with authority, without doubt or apology. Be sure to see the Graham home, and the burial sites of Billy, Ruth, Cliff Barrows, and George Beverly Shea. Admission is free (!), but donations are welcome. Non-flash photography is allowed.

The Journey of Faith was comprehensive, historical and at points, emotional. The information was presented chronologically. It’s as soul soothing as I expected it would be. And the staff was pleasant and knowledgeable so our questions were answered.

A nice place to visit for all ages. Very friendly staff. There is a restaurant that is cafeteria style and a nice gift shop.

Having seen photos of the Library, I don't think I was quite prepared for the emotional and spiritual impact it had on me. We didn't have time for the full audio/visual tour about his life, but we still learned a lot about Rev. Graham's early life.
The grounds are lovely and serene, both Ruth and Billy are buried here. On a plaque near his grave is a sign that reads, "Someday you will read or hear that Billy Graham is dead. But don't you believe a word of it! I shall be more alive than I am now... I will have gone into the presence of God."
There is a snack bar and gift shop, but also the opportunity to pray with someone. I didn't realize how much I had wanted to pray until one of the people near the prayer area asked me.
It was a time of refreshment from burdens and lovely grounds too.

Attraction to learn about the life story of Billy, his wife and his work in evangelical work. The place is excellently preserved, you can visit the house where he lived, and take a tour through history, which is very entertaining.

Great experience here. Staff were very knowledgeable and made the visit a pleasant experience. Beautiful setting and very peaceful. Some really interesting things on display. Well worth a visit. No charge but visitors can make a donation to help with the upkeep.

Amazing place. Must see if you are anywhere Charlotte. Even if you are not religious, it is well worth visiting, and learning a lot.

The Billy Graham Library was a very rewarding and educational experience. The Journey of Faith tour offers a unique look into Billy Graham's life and ministry including his family.

When I first decided to visit Charlotte this was one of the few places I had on my list. We went the morning after we arrived and there was a sign saying it was closed for renovations through January 4...the gates were closed so we couldn't even drive by. We went by on the morning of the 5th as we headed to the airport but it was still closed for renovations but the dates had been removed...guess it is an unending closure for renovations? We did not go to the website before going to visit and TripAdvisor had no reviews advising of this. So sad

Amazing, the staff were wonderful and helpful and informative. You come back with a different perspective on the man, the legend billy Graham.
The tour was free so no need to bring money unless you are going to purchase food and or merchandise from the bookstore.

This is a wonderful experience. So glad I visited. Learned a lot about him and remembered much from the past. We need another BG right now.

We got there too late to do the full tour but were able to see the grounds, the bookstore and exhibits and Billy Grahams childhood home. The gardens are beautiful and the entire place is exceptionally peaceful. It does not matter if you have zero knowledge of Billy Graham or hold him high esteem, you will come away with a greater respect and appreciation for the man and his commitment to spreading the gospel.

My sister lives in Charlotte, and we decided to visit while I was spending a few days in Charlotte. I am so glad we went! Sis and Attended a Billy Graham Crusade in Chicago in our youth, so it was special to me that I could now visit the library with her. The exhibits are outstanding and we enjoyed a nice lunch and visit to the Gift Shop too! I highly recommend.

The best part of Charlotte! We have heard so much about the Billy Graham library from our friends in the midwest so when we finally visited Charlotte we had to check it out! Franklin is awesome!!

Have visited a couple times. Each time has been fantastic & learned even more the second time. It takes a few hours to go through everything, but definitely worth while. Very inspirational.

So I really had no idea what to expect but was incredibly impressed with my visit today.
You are warmly welcomed by mostly volunteer staff who are exceptionally friendly and inviting. Then there is a tour room by room with exhibits, movie clips & displays of Billy Graham’s incredible ministry. God truly used this amazing man & his team to change the world and this library does an excellent job of presenting that. There were kids activities with a little prize for them at the end and my 8 & 6 year old really enjoyed that. Nice bookstore/gift shop & cafeteria on campus. Also present is Dr Graham’s childhood home & Billy & his wife Ruth are buried on premise so it was honor to pay respects to them as we concluded our visit.
Thanks for a wonderful experience. God bless you!

Such a memorable and touching experience. First class all the way - with incredible displays and items that give you insight into one of the most beloved men in our country’s history.

The entire experience was wonderful. We were so happy we got back on 77 after getting off to go on less traveled roads, and happen to stop at Exit 2 where the lady who we talked with was so helpful. Anyway we asked if there was anything to see nearby and she told us the Graham Library was just 3/4mi off exit 6. It had been in my thoughts to one day visit it but we were always in a hurry to go home, a long trip.
The library and museum is done so lovingly and it is just lovely, and peaceful. The lawns are keep up so well, as are the buildings we were in. This museum has so much information about the life and life's work of Billy Graham and the family. What a legend he is to so many. This is free entry but they will take donations. There is a book store within the confines and a place to eat. The burial places of Billy G, and his wife are on the grounds as well as Cliff Barrows, and George Beverly Shea. The home his father built that he lived in until he went to college was moved about 4 mi to this place. So meaningful.

After years of wanting to visit here, I finally went and was overwhelmed with emotions I had no idea would surface. The burial site was so pleasant and hard to digest I was actually there! I finally paid my respects for the man who tremendously impacted my life! The library was educational and fun. The gift store was amazing, and they do offer shipping if you're not able to travel/fly with items purchased. All staff were so pleasant.

This is a great place I loved visiting. First, they have this amazing tour. You walk through around few rooms that tell you about Billy Graham’s life and ministry. It is a really neat tour because Billy Graham was an incredible person and shows some of the artifact from his early time. The library also has a good cafe and an awesome book store. There is a replica of Billy Graham’s house you can tour, and you can also walk down a path that leads to Billy And Ruth Graham’s grave. Great volunteers that will help you and feel at home though out the tour. The best of all is, it's absolutely free, including the parking.

This was an unexpected blessing. We were in town to go to the NASCAR Hall of Fame museum and chanced upon the road sign on the ride down.
And I do mean, literally, a blessing.
Forget the fact every exhibit was extremely well done - innovative and inspiring.
Forget the fact the bookstore did not focus solely on Billy Graham and his works; many authors were given shelf space.
Forget, even, the fact the milkshakes were out of this world.
Only remember this - the Billy Graham Library may be the library of Billy Graham but its focus is Jesus Christ.
It truly honours Dr Graham by primarily focusing on our Lord and Saviour; just as he did.

Billy Graham was such a good man, a prophet of our times/ It was very interesting to see just what he went rhrough in his life to highlihght Jesus' life and impact.

Everyone was so nice. Loved the history and memorabilia. Wonderful tribute to a man and his ministry that brought so many to Christ. So thankful I took this tour. Beautiful facility and grounds.

We have hooted to visit the Billy Graham library since we heard about it and had an extra day on a recent roadtrip vacation. We stopped in and were so glad we did! We visited the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum in Kentucky, then the museum of the Bible in Washington DC. Stopped here at the Billy Graham on our easy back south and couldn't have been more impressed and inspired by the depictation of his life story, his calling, and how his ministry has impacted the world. What a first class tribute to the greatest evangelist of our times...

This place is amazing. Well thought out and put together. Great for all ages and anyone who has heard of Billy Graham and wondered about how he became so well known around the world.

Our family really enjoyed our visit here! Everything was very well done. More importantly, there was so much of Billy Graham’s legacy that was inspiring. Thankful for all the kind & smiling volunteers.

Very interesting to visit. Learn Great history. Those of the Christian faith would find it a must visit.

Had to stop here while in Charlotte. Got a reservation for four a few days before. Arrived and had no issues getting in. Presentation of Dr. Graham's life very well done. Lots of tockens from his past and moments. Great to see all of the items from our Presidents. One room dedicated to Ruth, his wife. The old homepage was a nice walk thru history. The grave sites were just a short stroll from the Library and placed at the foot of the cross walkway. The Presentation starts with the farm cows. So cute and children will love that. Took about 2 hours but some may want to spend more time. Nice gift shop and dairy bar. We did not eat but would be good for lunch if we had not already eaten. A most see for anyone visiting Charlotte. Not crowded due to COVID. Everyone was wearing masks and there was plenty of social distancing. The volunteers and employees did a nice job of answering questions and offering to take prayer requests.

We visited the Billy Graham library to satisfy my curiosity. I found it terribly boring and a waste of our time. I have not taken out of town guests. Perhaps I did not like it because I do not like the politics of the Graham children.

This brings Billy Graham's life and ministry into focus. It provides a background that you can't get anywhere else. The Library includes videos, exhibits, a bookstore, and a café.

This has to be a must stop if you are in Charlotte! Word really cannot tell how well done this place it. A true tribute to Jesus Christ. The humility of the Evangelist Billy Graham shows through the entire location.

My husband and I took our daughter and granddaughter (age 2) and spent a couple hours here. It was wonderful. The volunteers are so helpful and they walk you through every phase of his life from his tent revivals to selling out huge stadiums. Lots of memorabilia and a lovely tribute to Ruth. Both Billy and Ruth are buried onsite and you haven’t lived until you listened to “Just As I Am” as you stroll through their memorial garden. Boyhood home is there - fabulous. Lovely gift shop and a delicious dairy bar with food inside.

This is a must visit when in Charlotte. From the moment we walked through the cross door entrance until we left, we sensed a peace and presence of God. Dr. Graham’s spiritual impact on the world is seen and sensed through the exhibits. His obedience to follow God’s leading is truly inspiring and challenging...yet he was a humble man always pointing the attention away from himself to his Savior.

This is a very relaxed and peaceful place for lunch and to stroll the beautiful landscaped grounds if you wish to escape work for a while.

Our visit to the Billy Graham Museum could not have been better. Everything is arranged in a chronological order, detailing the important milestones in his life up until his death. This is a great tribute to a man who spent his life teaching and ministering the Christian faith to millions in the world.

We arrived at the Library by surprise, having seen a sign at the North Carolina Welcome Center for "Christmas at the Library." Thinking it would be hours away, we discovered that it was fewer than five miles from where we were. Ten minutes later, we arrived to find a lovely, beautifully organized, mostly accessible venue that was a blessing. We visited the decorated main lobby and enjoyed a Christmas carriage ride that took us around the back to the administration buildings. If we had been able to stay longer, we would have seen the holiday lights, luminaries along the road, and a live nativity scene. As always with the BGEA, everything was tastefully accomplished.
For us, the most notable factor was the balance of respect, good humor and importance of people displayed on the property. While emphasizing the ministry, the bookstore, and the dairy influence, the central figures were honored, but not idolized, keeping the Focus where it should have been. Great job!

Absolutely amazing place to visit. The library was done in chronological order from the time Billy Graham was a young man to his death. They included hollograms, films, and so many pictures of him, his family, and his crusades.

We were blessed to finally be able to visit the Billy. Graham library at Christmas . It was beautiful. We really enjoyed touring the house as well as the library. And glad we entered at the foot of the cross. We also visited the Graves. We visited the gift shop, and enjoyed the Christmas meal. I think the price of 25.00 was very reasonable for all that we got. We did the carriage ride, and saw the live nativity, and enjoyed the carolers. Christmas is definitely a beautiful time to visit. And I'm really glad we were able to go this year. All the staff were friendly, and even with covid we felt safe to visit.

We spent a few hours at the Library and will return later in the year. The homeplace was very interesting, but the presentations inside the barn were fantastic! Similar to the methods used in some of the Presidential Libraries the numerous rooms immerse you into his family and religious life, and accomplishments. Kids will enjoy the talking cow! :) Just a very relaxing and calm place to spend some time. Don't forget to try the hot dogs at the restaurant, and the prices a very reasonable.

My spouse and I visited the Billy Graham Library on 2/11/25. The grounds are beautiful despite the cold and drizzle. Every person we met was so helpful and kind. The displays were full of information, abundant with history, and held many stunning artifacts. The Graham home was lovely and the docent was very knowledgeable. We dined in the Dairy Bar enjoying chicken wraps. Ruth's Attic is a wonderful shop full of Bibles, gifts, children's books, as well as adult Christian reading. Immediately after viewing the museum displays, an employee offered prayer requests and she prayed with me. It was a memorable, peaceful, Christ-centered experience. Just go.

Wonderful experience, light display was fun, the tour was excellent. The guides/people were very friendly -- met a retired AF Pilot - fun remembering our careers. I highly recommend you visit...

Awesome place to go in Charlotte. Not only to learn about the life of Billy Graham but about how God can you anyone available for use.
God calls and He enables you. Follow through. Great spiritual experience.

Our trip to NC has been a memorable one because of this place. It is a perfect time for the Lenten season and just to be with my family. The staff has been wonderful and very friendly. We will surely be back.

Stopped here to stretch our legs on our drive down to Florida. This is a great place because it’s clean, friendly, inspiring and beautiful. Fun for the kids and there’s both outdoor and indoor things to do. Also there’s a cafe and the bathrooms are super clean. Plenty of parking. We are not religious and were welcome here.

Today marked our fourth visit to this library, and our first since Billy Graham's passing. This is an excellent facility. There are fresh displays each time I come here. Today they had a book signing. Tammie Jo Shults was here signing copies of the book Nerves of Steel.

We knew Billy Graham was a special person, but after visiting, we realized how much he did for our world. We started our visit walking through his childhood home. The tour takes you through well thought out exhibits including short films. There are plenty of benches to take a rest. You walk through at your own pace. Wheelchair accessible. We purchased a couple books in the gift shop. Clean restrooms. Food court on site. Ample parking with room for a bus or RV. Make reservation on line or by calling. Admission free.

I came with family from out of town. It was much more than I expected and you leave there feeling so connected to the family and the whole experience.

Whenever we have out of state guests, the first thing we recommend seeing in Charlotte is the Billy Graham Library. None of our guests have been disappointed. Although we have been there several times, we learn something new each time. Although it is somewhat of a museum to Billy Graham, it is much more than that. It all points to Jesus Christ, more than Billy Graham.

Words can not begin to describe how touching this place is. The volunteers are so knowledgeable, helpful, and very friendly. This should be put on your bucket list. The journey of faith is very well done, it details his life and missions so well. The grounds are immaculate and the prayer garden is so peaceful.

Everything about the Billy Graham Library is inspiring. We toured the garden first, then went inside the library, walked through, listening to the videos and reading snippets of his life and ministry. It is a wonderful experience that I want to go through again. We went through in 2 hours, but didn't read everything. I would love to sit outside along the walkway for a while to reflect and pray next time I go.

At first I didn't know what to expect but I was very surprised at the overall experience provided. There are alot of things to see and quite a few very interesting exhibits of this entire family. Very weel done!

This visit was suggested while vacationing in Florida and it did not disappoint! It was almost as if Billy is still alive! This stop was the highlight of our travel back to Minnesota. The restoration is beautiful, the message powerful, & the experience was inspiring! God’s Blessings to all that make this possible! Thank you!

The best experience I had in NC!
Beautiful place, powerful message a totally mind changing experience with no charge!
I’ll definitely return!

This is a must see for Christians, the world was blessed by Billy’s ministry. You will follow his life from life on the farm to the world wide evangelism.
To follow his life you are “guided” through a series of videos ( I felt the videos needed exhibits or something between them) which were interesting and inspiring.
We did not visit the house. There a very good gift shop.

I was skeptical about visiting, but the library is very well done and super interesting! Not just trying to convert people, but also giving very interesting information about the 60+ years of Boy Graham's ministry and historical events alongside it.

Our visit to the Billy Graham Library was a highlight of our trip to Charlotte. It’s more of a museum than a library. The house he grew up in has been moved to the property and we enjoyed visiting it. I was surprised that both Billy and his lovely wife, Ruth are buried there.
All of the staff were so friendly and helpful and God’s light shone through each of them.
The Library is so well organized. There are videos in each section. As you finish watching the video in one section and move to the next, the start of the next video is timed perfectly. You can spend as much time as you want looking at everything and reading all about his life and ministry.
We were very blessed by the whole experience!

Absolutely amazing place to see great moments of God using Billy Graham for the redemption of the lost.
Stunning sets, videos, pictures, and a great book store.
Way better than I had hoped for.
No wonder it’s rated #1 for things to do in Charlotte!

Lovely place especially Christmas & such a happy, friendly & caring staff. The food was delicious & very reasonably priced.

Amazing! So amazing! We spent many hours, just taking our time to wander, look & read everything. The whole area is arranged perfectly. We enjoyed walking through his boyhood home. What a beautiful red-brick 2-story with white trim! Furniture included! It was so neat to walk through at our own pace. We loved the music playing in the background all the time. We loved visiting and we tell friends and family to make it a point to visit. We loved it!

Not much here, would rather go to whitewater center. Don't like how they have advertisement at the airport how they are the #1 thing to see in Charlotte, definitely not true

I've been several times throughout the year and previously brought a class of summer camp kids. We loved it!

Amazing and uplifting. I would recommend this to everyone. I learned so much about the family and Rev. Graham’s dedication to family and spreading the gospel.

The staff was very nice and accommodating to my family. I would highly recommend this to everyone! God Bless!

Recently visited the Billy Graham Library during the Christmas season. This was my first time visiting the Library and was very excited about my visit. The Library was the best part about my trip to Charlotte. There was lots of fun additions to help celebrate the Christmas season. Carriage rides, a live Nativity, carolers, and beautiful decorations and lights. The Journey of Faith exhibit was absolutely amazing and was truly the best part. Wonderful for any age you take a journey through Billy's life that points all straight back to Jesus. Truly a must see sight in Charlotte.

This is a beautiful place to visit whether you are spiritual or not. It has so much history to read about and see as you walk through. At Christmas time it is gorgeously decorated and even offers horse drawn carriage rides.

Wonderful presentation of the life of Billy Graham and how God used him to touch people all over the world. Even my teen-age boys enjoyed the visit. Would highly recommend! Completely free except the dairy bar snacks which my teenagers also enjoyed!!!

Visiting the Billy Graham Library impresses the visitor with two interacting feelings and conclusions: (1) a heartfelt biography of a truly great charismatic evangelist and (2) his absolute and unending commitment to his calling to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Guides meet the visitor at the cross-shaped door and give a brief introduction of what there is to see in the museum. The first stop is to hear Bessie, the cow, tell a bit of Dr. Graham’s beginnings on a dairy farm. The tour through the museum leads one through the many chapters of Billy Graham’s life—his family, the early days, his calling to the ministry, crusades, associations with a dozen U S presidents, visits to 185 countries, his very effective use of television, his administrative skills, and most of all his passion to spread the gospel. After the tour a stop at the gift shop and dairy bar is a nice pause before walking across the lawn to visit the house in which Reverend Graham lived in his younger years. Originally the house was about four miles away. It was completely disassembled and rebuilt at the library site. A short walk to the gravesites concludes the visit to the Billy Graham Library. There is no admission fee, and anyway, what you might receive isn’t measured in dollars and cents.

Excellent place and everyone should go there.. Can see Billy & Ruth gravesite. Lots of history of Billy and travels.

I had always wanted to visit here and so happy it finally worked out. All staff were so nice and pleasant. There was such a peace in the air as you walked outside along the bricked paths to view the graves and of course inside the house and library. The old house with many original furnishings inside was so interesting to view and read about. In the library there are several stations that have audio and video presentations that make you feel as if you are right there live, witnessing the events. And all of this is free. I can’t imagine how anyone could go here and not be touched. Very very nicely done.

Although they call it Billy Graham Library, it really is a museum to Billy Graham. It’s a lovely walk through his history and impact on Christianity. It’s a historical diary of his life. There is a little cafe that is reminiscent of his childhood dairy farm. You can finish in the bookstore. His childhood home is also on the property which you can tour. If you don’t know who Billy Graham was, it’s a wonderfully peaceful place to learn about how God wants to invite you into a relationship with Him. Well done.

This museum tells the story of how God took an ordinary farm boy from North Carolina and shaped him into the world's best known evangelist. Each exhibit leads you to the next in smooth transitions. At the end of the tour, there's an excellent gift/book shop. Also on the grounds are the burial sites of Billy and Ruth Graham, Cliff and Wilma Barrows, and George Beverly Shea, as well as the home Billy grew up in. We look forward to returning on a future visit; this was our first.

I was passing through Charlotte NC, and this was the only “thing to do” I was interested in. The place was nice, safe, clean, and interesting. I was never a big fan of Billy, but I went there with an open mind, and enjoyed the adventure.

I enjoyed the story of Billy Graham and his life story. I was very wowed about his travels and how he met his wife and reading and listening to his vocal and he believes. I've visited Billy Graham Library 3 times already and I can't wait until my brothers visit me in Charlotte so I can take them there.

The calm vibes from the moment I got there set the tone for what turned out to be a pretty deep and soulful experience. Walking around those peaceful grounds, I just knew this was going to be one heck of a meaningful ride.
What truly made the visit special was the inclusivity of the experience. The library caters to visitors of all ages and backgrounds, making it a welcoming space for those seeking solace, inspiration, and spiritual growth.
SO memorable indeed!

We are in Charlotte for medical reasons and we have good friends here that took us to the library on December 23rd. What an inspirational place. The area is beautiful and well kept with lots of friendly staff to assist you. There are benches scattered around so you can sit to relax or reflect.

The Billy Graham Library was the highlight of our family visit in Charlotte NC. The staff, volunteers, and place is wonderful. The experience was amazing and our family enjoyed it all.

I had been wanting to visit this site. Everything about it was well done and meaningful. The exhibits were realistic and portrayed the life of a humble man that God used for His glory. The memorabilia was displayed in such a way you could take it in and not be overwhelmed by clutter.
The staff were all warm and welcoming. Don’t miss a chance to see this!

We went here as a last minute addition to our visit to Charlotte I am so thankful that we did. It was while worth the stop. So peaceful and inviting wonderful music could be heard from the time you drive in. Everyone was welcoming and so sweet

We have traveled to Charlotte many times but never visited this attraction before. Honestly, we really knew very little about the life and work of Dr. Graham. This certainly changed after our morning here! I know it's labeled as a library but it's more like an interactive, genuine experience. The staff was Amazing. Truly, they made the visit more enjoyable. We would highly recommend even if you are not familiar.

It was a beautiful campus and facility. THE STAFF WERE VERY friendly and knowlegable. AND THE OTHEr visitors were friendly. One of our members also mentioned listening to one of Reverand Graham's sermons and feeling the Spirit speaking to her as if she were hearing it in real time.

Wonderful exhibits of this great and humble man's life. Kind staff that even helped me call a cab. Uplifting and wonderful displays of Billy Graham's life and legacy. I can't say enough about this visit that I will treasure for a long time!

This was a great place to visit. Beautiful landscaping and a very peaceful atmosphere. This library really shows the impact of Rev. Billy Graham's impact on the world.

Billy and Ruth Graham’s life story and quotes were inspirational. I wasn’t really a Billy Graham fan before I came, but now I am. The library had many interesting exhibits. The staff were all amazing, so friendly.

Do not rush through! This was unbelievably deep and moving to see Billy Graham’s childhood home, so many pictures from his entire life. The still photos showing the enormous crowds that Billy Graham preached to (472,000 was the largest I saw) and the videos of his heartfelt preaching showed his love for Jesus Christ and his unashamed fervor for sharing the gospel. If I could give a rating of 20, I would. Ruth’s bookstore is amazing, too, and we had both breakfast & lunch at the cafe inside. Be sure and visit the prayer garden where Billy and his wife are buried. It is serene and lovely. Don’t rush through but DO go and visit this amazing treasure.

It was interesting and informative. Takes a couple of hours to walk thru and watch all the video clips

The Library shares a glimpse of history in Billy Graham's life. Beloved by people all over the world, his stance on serving is evident. The world is better because Billy Graham was here and shared an uncompromising Love for people and the Gospel of Christ. Learn and enjoy.

I absolutely loved visiting the Billy Graham library. First, they have this amazing tour. You walk through around 20 rooms that tell you about Billy Graham’s life and ministry. It is a really neat tour because Billy Graham was an incredible person and you have the opportunity to get saved. Next, the have fun little activities to do. When you first drive into the library grounds you might see horses pulling carriages. That is because you can go on about a 10 minute carriage ride pulled by huge draft horses. The library also has a good cafe and an awesome book store. There is a replica of Billy Graham’s house you can tour, and you can also walk down a path that leads to Billy And Ruth Graham’s grave. Next, they have a live Nativity. Right in front of the Library is a barn and manger. They walk you through the whole story with real people and a real baby for Jesus. The animals are also all real. They have super cute camels, mini horses, sheep, goats, and cows that you can feed. Lastly, they have an incredible dinner. You can book your family to eat at the library. They have Tables set for big families and you get your food whenever you want it. Basically it is a buffet with Thanksgiving and Christmas food. The food is out of this world and you get as much as you want! The Library is a tradition for my family and I encourage you to make it a tradition for your family also!

A must visit if you are anywhere near Charlotte. Great presentation of Billy Graham's life. Very emotional at times. His impact on the world will never be forgotten. Grounds and library were beautiful and peaceful. It was free, but would be worth an admission price.

Went to Billy Graham Library for a town hall with Anne Graham Lotz. She talked about her new book ( Jesus in me ). She was such a inspiration too me . She has been through so much , but has risen above it because of her faith . We had lunch in their cafe . Food was very good and reasonably priced. Library is excellent with all kinds of books ,from family and others . Everyone was welcoming and very helpful.

Plus an extra star! This was the most amazing place. We loved every minute. Nice guided tour you can take at your own pace. I’ll never forget this place!!

Very well presented life of an international figure—someone influential with millions of people and world leaders
The format of walking through the mans life in the context of actual movie clips/photos/artifacts (in recreated settings) is top notch

Christian or not, this is a fantastic site to visit. The man it honors was a true Christian man and touched millions of people's lives. The museum is very well laid out and easy to follow his life history. The emotions I felt as I walked through the museum, house and grounds varied from each area. It is a very sober and emotional visit in my mind. The videos shown are informative and a must to sit through all of them. The artifacts are many and very interesting. The grounds are beautiful. The volunteer staff was very friendly and helpful. There is no admission fee. Donations are accepted. We would for sure visit again.

While I and my husband are not super religious perse', our friends visiting are devout Christians and we ALL enjoyed the day at Billy Graham.

I am not sure "library" is what I'd call it. Yes, it has a great bookstore and cafe, but it is more of a tribute and review of the history of his ministry. More like a museum...extremely well organized, the way they bring you through the tour, by time I reached the last part, I was quite emotional! Well planned & inspirational, I was extremely impressed.
The grounds are beautiful worth a walk around.
One of the volunteers saw us coming toward the parking lot behind him so turned around and sang for us, we joined in the hymn... it was a highlight!

I loved touring the Billy Graham Library and grounds. This man was so dedicated to spreading the word of the lord. He preached on six continents. He truly was a man of God. If you get a chance spend a few hours here.

Didn’t really know what to expect visiting the library. It is true. It is not a library. It is so much more. You start by walking though the bottom of the cross and journey through his life of evangelism…..very moving. Each room has lots of information on the wall and some rooms have short videos. When you finish the journey, a staff member asks if you have a prayer request. You fill out the card and someone prays with you. I thought that was really meaningful. Then you end up in the “book store” (another name for gift shop). Very well stocked with almost any book or other Christian items. Then walk the grounds to the burial place form he and his wife. The house where he grew up is also on the property and you can tour the first floor of that house. The staff and volunteers are just the best. Highly recommend you spend some time here. It’s free only if you don’t buy something at the bookstore!!

A beautiful setting, graced by a calming peace, a trail of a life's journey belonging to that of Rev. Billy Graham and his wife Ruth. Along this journey you find a humble beginning , through years of service putting the word of God out to the people until his final days on this earth leading to the resting place of both Rev. Graham and his wife. A truly inspiring journey.

My 11-year-old son and I visited the library and both loved it! The “library” name is misleading because it’s more of an interactive experience that honors the life of Billy Graham and teaches how he shared the gospel with 2 billion people. My son had a brochure to fill in the blanks so he paid close attention and received a small gift at the end (and an ice cream cone from Mom). I love that Billy’s legacy lives on and he continues to share the gospel through this amazing program!

We visited the Billy Graham library while we were in the area. We really enjoyed our time there. Very moving experience. I was brought to tears several time and really felt the presence of God in the grounds. Very touching presentation of Billy’s life and Ministry. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoyed or was touched by the ministry of Billy Graham

The grounds were beautiful. Loved the tour, learned a lot about the Graham family. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Visit this library and marvel at what God can do through one life fully devoted to Him! All of the employees and volunteers here are wonderfully kind and a blessing to visit with. My parents (in their 70's) and my teenage daughter enjoyed it too. Each of us had a different favorite part and you will not leave without hearing the gospel presented in a clear, easy to understand way. Every room is beautifully and intentionally put together.

I liked it better when yo could tour at your own pace, now it is a guided and timed tour. maybe they will return to being able to enjoy the displays at your own pace

This was the best experience I had, they took the time out to explain everything, Its a good experience for all ages.

I loved the tour. Franklin was there today speaking at the bikes and boxes events. Billy Graham was a true man of God.

We went on Monday afternoon to enjoy the tour and then again on Thursday night to enjoy the Christmas at the Library event. Highly recommend!

Such a peaceful and inspiring place! We stayed about 4 hours to read everything, watch the videos and browse in the bookstore. A must stop location if you’re visiting Charlotte.

Words cannot describe!!! You can feel Gods presence and the place is so interesting and well put together. Each room was set up so nice with interesting films, etc. Really suprised us. Did not expect it to be so fabulous!!! Great job whoever built this and put this together. You went from room to room like an amusement park set up.

I visited yesterday for the first time and loved it! It’s a very peaceful and comforting place. The staff are very friendly. I spent over three hours here. I’m already planning a return visit with other family members. Thanks for a great visit! ❤️

The grounds were pretty, and the family home was interesting. I can see how if you are a huge fan of Billy Graham that this place would be the bee's knees, but just an average Joe isn't going to think it is the number 1 thing to do in Charlotte.

This is a must see if your visiting / touring the Charlotte area Make sure you check their calendar for events. (It’s changes almost daily and there are events for ALL ages)

The minute we walked up the walk we knew we were on holy grounds. We could just feel the peace of the holy spirit. Beautiful flowers were in bloom and the library exterior was just beautiful. We started our tour in the home that Billy Graham grew up in that had been moved to the grounds and preserved in its current state. We moved on to the library where we enjoyed browsing through the gift shop and library of christian books. We were then escorted through rooms of which films and trinkets of Billy's life were shared. We found out things that we never knew that Mr Graham was instrumental in. Lastly we walked through the garden where Billy and his wife were buried. This place is certainly a beautiful setting and tribute to he and his wife's life.

Went here for a family trip at Christmas. Amazing experience, however it was crowded, but it moved quickly.

First, let me say that it is super close to the airport! Second, it is free! Our experience here will be one we will remember. The grounds are beautiful, the staff were all wonderful and we took away so much! Well done!!!

The Billy Graham Library is located in Charlotte, NC.
I visited a while ago and forgot to include a review.
My family always watched the Rev. Billy Graham TV crusades.
There is such a peaceful spirit when you arrive at the library.
He is buried on-site at the Memorial Prayer Garden next to his wife, Ruth Bell Graham.
His Graham Family childhood home is on the premises, as well.
Admission was free at the time of my visit. Donations were welcome. The staff is courteous and welcome any questions.
It is a spacious well designed property to honor Rev Graham. Parking is free and accessible in front of the property. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

Seems like less and less money is going to new programs and building refurbishment, many other things to do closer to Charlotte

This is a very special and inspirational place to visit. My wife and I have attended multiple Crusades over the years and this Library spoke deeply to us both. Such a peaceful and relaxing place.

Thankful for the opportunity to visit the Billy Graham Library. Beautiful grounds, friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed touring the museum. The museum was well-planned. Great presentation of the life and ministry of Reverend Billy Graham, the greatest man of our time...quite possibly of all time. We enjoyed lunch at the Dairy Barn followed by shopping at the book store

From the time you pull up to the gate are the Library, you are met with a beautiful facility placed on well-manicured grounds. And every person that we interacted with, from the guard at the gate to the young man in the parking lot to the entire staff of the library itself, treated us with an enthusiastic welcome and genuine caring. The facilities are incredible and the message of God’s Love for us are in every facet of the experience. Truly one of the best things we have ever done in Charlotte. Will definitely be back!

It's an absolute pleasure and beautiful place to be. So peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed out visit and look forward to visiting again. Some great spots for photography too!

Definitely worth visiting and highly recommended. I went alone with my toddler. Good setup and good flow of foot traffic. You go through a series of rooms. Mostly self guided. But there were some video they had us watch together. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and cordial.

I came home from visiting the special place and tried to describe it to my husband and I just didn’t have words. The term Library I thought it was just gonna be looking at books… Some of the adjectives I could use would be beautiful, emotional powerful inspirational. I would highly recommend if you have the opportunity to spend time in this special place

What a beautiful experience! You can feel the presence and peace of God as soon as you arrive. This place has been on my Bucket List since it was built. It exceeded my expectations.
They were getting decorated for Christmas, so that made it even more lovely. It was beautiful touring the Graham home, then heading over to the barn. The barn has a lovely gift shop and the library shelves cover the walls in there, almost to the ceiling. There are several rooms to walk thru at your own pace, and videos to watch as well. There are many artifacts and memories shared in each of those rooms. It was such a blessing to be there.
You finish up your tour in the garden, where Dr. and Mrs. Graham are buried, as well and Cliff Barrows, his wife, and Bev Shea.
What a beautiful experience and I'd most definitely go again! <3

Billy Graham has been an Icon in our history. Not only was he inspiring but he traveled the world and advised presidents on spirituality. Very interesting to me that I just learned that my mother and one of her best friends sang at a revival in Denver in the 70’s! Who would’ve thunk.
A highly recommended venue in Charlotte should you be open or are a believer!

Excellent presentations about Billy Graham’s life and his delivery of God’s messages. Kind of like going to a church service with Billy delivering the sermons.

I have heard of this place for so long. Billy Graham actually led my mom and husband to Christ, it was one of his last times to preach the gospel to a live audience. The fact that you enter at the foot of the cross is so moving. The self guided tours are so easy and really showcase his life through the years. Such an amazing blessing and a treasure to see. Praise the Lord for all Billy Graham accomplished in his life time.

So clean and efficiently managed, interesting, can be a bit lengthy if you choose to attend all of the activities. My favorites were the crosses, so beautiful, the walking paths and of course the cow and the cat ♥

Very Interesting. Even though it’s about Billy Graham and his life, it’s more about God. The Holy Spirit is in this place. The library and the gardens are very enjoyable.

Every Christmas we visit the Billy Graham Library. It's a can't miss event in Charlotte. Between the live nativity, carolers, and horse-drawn carriage rides there's something for all ages. The tours through the library get quite busy so I'd suggest coming back another time for the tour, but the rest of the library was fantastic!

We wanted to stop by as Billy Graham was important in our lives. It is a lot larger than I was expecting. It has a nice walking tour inside the museum detailing the life of Mr. and Mrs Graham. The collection of memorabilia is astounding, but put the mission of Dr Graham in the forefront.

I have wanted to go for many years and it far surpassed all expectations. I love the history that it shares and while Billy Graham lived an amazing life, the museum/library is really not as much about him as it is the God he served. I appreciate the humility Billy as well as his wonderful family. Highly recommended.

If you are ever near Charlotte, NC this is a must do! The staff is super helpful and friendly. The exhibits are amazing. The food is delicious. The grounds are beautiful. The whole experience is wonderful! Takes 2/12 - 3 hours or more if you are truly enjoying all there is to see. Admission is free, but please, be kind and leave a donation. Worth every dollar you give.

The staff was excellent! Everyone in each section was courteous and very knowledgeable. Not only was the Library run well, but the focus was not neccesarily on Billy Graham, but on Jesus Christ and the movement of the Word around the world. Also, the house he grew up in is there to tour and the burial site of Billy, his wife and others involved in the ministry. I could have stayed longer and learned more. I will be back!
An Inspiring and Magical Place
I was introduced to this tour by a wonderful friend who works as a volunteer, and we spend Saturday, 2/8, there. A great remembrance of the people’s preacher. The tour was very inspiring and informative. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and enjoyed seeing Rev. Billy and Mrs. Graham grave sites at the foot of the cross. Such an amazing reverence to their long life of living for Christ.
Enjoyed a tour of Billy Graham’s childhood home, the wonderful bookstore and dairy cafe.
Food was delicious.
