The show was amazing! It felt like a love letter to true New York. Such incredible talent, and it made me want to take a dance class!

Pat was so knowledgeable and kind! we LOVED our visit!!! would recommend to any thespian or theatre lover. we will be coming back đ

The cast on that day was also super amazing! Compared with the original cast, the on - site cast was way more lively. Everyone had so many cute little expressions. Qiao San, who was already adorable, was even more playful than the original cast. No need to mention the Ham cast. Any one of them could sing better than LMM. Eliza was an Asian actress and was as good as the original cast! The only slight letdown was Burr. I just love the original Burr so much. The actor on that day lacked the sense of power I was looking for. But he still met the passing mark!

Music was fun. Story follows book and is as tragic as I remembered. Great performance and sets are amazing. I would definitely recommend seeing this show.

Lots of razzle-dazzle in this show, from the glitzy costumes and elaborate sets to the stunning choreography. The acting and singing are superb. The story line is true to the novel, so the show is poignant, as well.
Tip: look for rush and cancellation tickets through Telecharge.com, which also has a lottery at 10 AM and 3 PM daily. We scored cancellation tickets the day before: 5th row center orchestra seats for $149 each, all in! A friend recommends Luckyseat.com to enter seat lotteries a week in advance. Good luck!

Iâm not sure if it was a different cast that came to Chicago but this is literally one of the worst musicals Iâve seen in a long time.
It felt like it was pandering to some old trope and stereotype of what Harlem New York culture is supposed to be, with over the top costumes and dance scenes that made no sense and just showed up in the middle of songs randomly. The book itself was pretty terrible, and while the mom and dad were great singers, the lead Could not hit the notes in the range they gave her and the storyline was all over the place with too much exposition and too little actual story flow and pacing.
It was a basic coming-of-age story that was done really poorly, and overacted from the very first scene. I of course, want to support the culture, but this is kind of like the time when we all had to go see Redtail about the Tuskegee airmen, but everybody knew that it was really really bad.
It might be good for the white gaze, but if youâre anybody else, I would skip this⌠đŽâđ¨
Also, I might just be old-school, but there was so much musical production and soundtrack behind the actual singers on stage, it was clear they didnât have the power to belt on their own that you would expect from a Broadway show.

Itâs worth scheduling a whole trip around it. I saw three broadway shows that weekend that Iâve admired for so long, and I saved this one for last because I had a feeling it would be the best way to bring the trip to a close, and it was. My two mothers agree that itâs there favorite, and one of them wasnât expecting a lot from it because she wasnât super familiar with it though she had seen the Baz Lurman movie and read the book in high school, and she left with it being her number one favorite show

MJ the Musical at the Neil Simon Theatre in New York was an awesome experience. My husband and I only had 3 days to see the sights in New York and every evening we took in a play. MJ the Musical did not disappoint! The singing and dancing were superb. Samuel Nelson III was amazing as Michael Jackson. I forget how many hits Michael Jackson has! This show was packed with them! From the early years in the Jackson Five to the adult Michael with successes like Thriller or We Are the World. If you're on the fence about seeing this musical...get off the fence and into the audience. You won't regret !

PROS
* One of the most famous and iconic streets in the entire world
* Running diagonally through Central Manhattan, this street defines the entire area and is a main marker of the area
* It can be exciting to be in the middle and in the center of all of the excitement and all of the lights and all of the glamour and all of the glitz and all of the streaming and all of the crowds and all of the activities and all of the famous things that go on there
CONS
* Crowded
* It can be confusing and overwhelming
* The place and the area are full of scammers
âI VISITED THIS PLACE ââŚ
⌠because I find it impossible to not visit this place when I am in New York City â it is so central and so iconic and vibrant.
I visited three times during the seven days of my visit, each time during the day â the latest time being 5 PM in June 2025
I saw some of the scammers I saw some of the actors I saw some of the costumed people and I avoided all of them, but watch them from a distance.
I did observe one man dressed in gold glittery and staring off blindly into space, posing as a statue so I moved at least 10 m away from him and totally to the side and took his photo . His peripheral vision is outstanding, because he saw me and suddenly from being a stoic not moving non-blinking statue, he jumped up and screamed at me and ran towards me â but I can outrun him.
I saw the famous red steps and climbed to the top and looked down over the entire area.
I also saw the Hard Rock CafĂŠ of Times Square, but I didnât go in there so therefore, I didnât see the memorabilia, which is on display for free. I did that in Baltimore and regret that I didnât do it in New York Times Square â it wouldâve been even better Iâm sure , such as stuff about the Beatles.
I did walk through the Disney store, only because it was there, and I was standing in front of it in the door was open, and it was free to walk in.
WAS IT WORTH THE COST?
It is free to be there, but if you are not cautious and careful and protective of your stuff and suspicious and alert, it can cost you dearly
WOULD âI VISIT THIS PLACEâ AGAIN?
I regret that I will find it irresistible to go here again, even though I know that I shouldnât and that I donât need to do that. Especially if I am escorting a small tour group, as I hope to do â then of course I will have to go there
ADVICE from IVTP
* Of course every tourist has to go there at least once
* Of course it is better to go in the evening and at night when everything is lit up and itâs bright and shiny and itâs âthe Great White Wayâ and everything is glittering and glitchy and thereâs all kinds of activity and famous stuff going on, but itâs also possible during the day
* Do not interact at all â at all â with any of the various people who approach you, be they costume characters, undressed, performers, panhandlers, or other acrobats or people trying to give you free stuff â it will cost you dearly
* Carefully watch and guard your belongings

Pretty bad. About as funny as a mediocre sitcom with weird swerves in tone and focus.
Surely there are better theater options in NY.
Would actively discourage you from going.

Fantastic Show
Superb Production
Exceptional Principals & Ensemble
Fabulous Choreography
Gorgeous Costumes & Sets
Glorious Orchestration
Highly Recommend!

Seen show at the Benedum in the Burgh beautiful venue singing very good from all, Seeing many musicals I do think the basis of the story could have been much better. It's based on Neil talking to a head shrink-In my opinion it would have been much better of Neil talking to a group of children telling them about his life instead of making him look like a mental case-Enough said

A few days in New York. Then a visit to one of the musicals on Broadway is a must.
Tickets for the evening came cheaply via TodayTix on Broadway.
Expectations were not high beforehand but this skeptical attitude was unfounded.
A musical with a lot of momentum in the story and scenes and a feast of recognition when hearing the various songs.
The singers and singers were top notch. A great night of musicals.
No regrets about this visit.

Absolutely fantastic show, lovely theatre and staff too really helpful & friendly.
The whole experience was amazing and the guy who plays Michael did a fantastic job his voice sounds exactly the same. It was the young guy who played young Michaelâs last show when we went and his family must be so proud - what a talent! Would watch it again in a heartbeat! đśđ¸đ¤

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the Museum of Broadway. We are casual fans of theater enjoying local theater and national touring productions. My wife has enjoyed some on broadway productions in the past. Neither of us would claim to be huge fans of theater history or how plays go from playwright to theater to mega hit. This Museum was excellent in giving us an excellent overview of all aspects of theater both on Broadway and how the plays filter down to local theaters, school productions and touring companies. Well laid out with a logical progression from history to costumes to production. Well worth the time spent. The staff was attentive and pleasant. There are stairs as you start on what is considered the back stairs. I am sure there are elevators available but we didn't use them. The museum has three levels and the "path" is well laid out. Don't short change the last level which leads into the gift shop as it has some great displays on sound, making of costumes and all the various people who make plays happen every day.

Famous especially for its theaters (the highest concentration in the world), but in fact one with Times Square and Fifth Avenue. Impossible not to go over and over again in your New York stay. If you can attend a show your holiday will be truly complete!

Well organized and lots of fun. Immersion in a chronological history of broadway highlighting the most successful musicals writers designers producers and music. It was about one and a half hours.

You will get the FULL Broadway experience with this show. The staging, dance and costumes were incredible. The show is one of the few open on Monday nights. It aligned perfectly with my visit.

Went woth my husband. My cheeks hurt from laughing! It was such a fun performance! Amazing actors. Great venue. Worth every penny!

This place was really cool. You had to go up 3 flights of stairs to start but there were these amazing photos and little fact blurbs to entertain you along the way. The group behind us was in a little more of rush than we were.
There was cute little informational video in a room with tons of facts but no time to read those facts because they shuffle you out for the next group to see the video that starts automatically.
Winding your way through the building back down to ground level you will see a variety of costumes and props and read info about all the famous people who have made Broadway what it is today.

Very interesting museum for theatre fans in the heart of the theatre district. Beautiful costumes from shows spanning the years; the setting of the lunch counter from West Side Story, corn fields of Oklahoma, flower power costumes from Hair and many more. There was a short video at the start of the self guided tour. We spent about 2 hours there. Of course, there is a gift shop selling memorabilia.

The show was amazing! The cast did a fantastic job of entertaining the crowd for over 2hrs. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is due to the seating, its extremely small chairs. The mezzanine was a great view though, just get an end seat.

I truly loved the show! It was really nice seeing how she grew up in Manhattan & it was just so wholesome. There were some scenes that were tugging on my heart strings

I attended The Outsiders with high hopes and left completely horrifiedânot by the plot, but by what happened to us during the show. We paid nearly $1000 for front-row tickets, expecting an immersive theatrical experience, not a gruesome accident that left us drenched in fake blood, our clothes permanently stained, and the rest of the show physically uncomfortable and emotionally upsetting.
During a completely blacked-out scene, with no visual warning or staging cues, what felt like a bucket of prop blood was thrown on us. This was not a light mist or even a dramatic splashâit was a direct hit. We were left covered. We had to sit through the entire second half of the show soaked in red, with stained clothes, and utterly distracted from any enjoyment the performance might have offered. It completely ruined the evening.
What makes this worse is the lack of any prior warning. The ticket merely mentioned the possibility of âlight rain or pelletsââwhich we took seriously. We even proactively asked an usher before the show if we should purchase ponchos. They reassured us that âonly a little water might hit the front row.â At no point were we told that weâd be splashed with red liquid resembling blood in the dark, unable to protect ourselves or our clothing.
For a Broadway productionâparticularly one at this price pointâthis was a shocking lapse in both communication and consideration for the audience. We werenât alone in our reaction. Multiple patrons looked visibly disturbed and were checking their clothes under the house lights, many with similar damage.
The production owes front-row audience members a clear disclaimer, the option for proper protection, and frankly, an apology. This went far beyond âimmersiveâ or âinteractive.â It was invasive and careless.
Broadway has always been a place of magic and transformationâbut this experience felt like an ambush.

We loved this Museum and so will you if you love the Theater. Has historical timeline with photos, posters, stories and insights. Great memorabilia, costumes, set recreations and models. Costumes were a highlight. Really interesting.

Wasn't sure what to expect with this one and was so pleasantly surprised. Kristen's got a set of pipes and she goes all out, she was funny and charming. I found the true story interesting and also so tragic. Not just fluff, what a great show. Entire cast was wonderful!

Saw this play in Kansas City. Cringe worthy during, next day frustrated we wasted an evening. Accepting of LGBTQ but this felt forced and lacking plot.

I had such a marvelous time at Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club. This revival really brings the classic to life in a whole new way. One of my favorite parts was actually the pre-show where the performers and musicians mingled through the bar areas and entertained us before the main show even started. It felt so up-close, like you were already part of the story before the curtain rose.
The whole production leans into mood and performance rather than big flashy sets, which made it feel raw, intimate, and immersive. The lighting and physicality of the actors completely pulled me in. Visually, it captured the wild, hedonistic spirit of late-1920s Berlin, gritty but glamorous at the same time.
Overall, it was an unforgettable night at the Kit Kat Club. If you get the chance, please go and visit, this isnât just a show, itâs an experience!
Pro Tip: Filming isnât allowed inside the venue, and staff will actually place a small tape over your camera lens to prevent taking pictures or videos so take in the moment and enjoy it fully!

I absolutely loved this show! This was my second time seeing it (I had seen it off-Broadway) and it was so much fun to see it with a new cast. Jessica Vosk and Christopher Jackson have such great chemistry and they both sang the house down. The choreography is incredible and every song is fantastic. Highly recommend!

A very interesting plot and good actors / singers on the scene.I truly recommend it. It ' s funny but also touching.
Suggestions : read the novel before going to the show in order to have an overall knowledge of the themes of the play and so as to get more easily to the meaning of this masterpiece.

Just great! As much energy as was squandered here today!! Very nice ... hopefully next year again , we will come back

Sunset Boulevard is a 1950 film noir directed by Billy Wilder, starring William Holden and Gloria Swanson, that is named after a major street that runs through Hollywood. The play was written by Don Black and Chris Hampton, featuring music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, and is directed by Jamie Lloyd. This was the most exhilarating show that Iâve seen in years. The audience was thoroughly primed in advance for this phenomenal performance by Nicole Scherzinger and stood cheering (much, much more than polite applause) at the end of each of her songs. It sounded like the noise at a soccer stadium after a goal being scored. The audience would not be denied and carried on, all but halting the performance each time for a couple of minutes.
This show MUST be seen. I cannot wax poetically enough about this scorching hot play. The St. James Theatre was really rocking to say the least. It was so enervative that we walked out of the theater totally drained. Ms. Scherzinger is âa lockâ for a Tony and the play is as well. I have seen over forty Broadway musical shows over the years, including Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Fiddler, Westside Story, Man of La Mancha, Gypsy, etc. and Sunset Boulevard tops them all. While the show has been extended through July, this is the toughest ticket to obtain on Broadway. As I stated above, Sunset Blvd. is a MUST See! Donât snooze on this one.

What a fun and heartwarming musical! The vocals are out of this world! You donât have to be an Alicia Keysâ music fan in order to properly enjoy this musical. Everyone on that stage is giving a spectacular, high caliber performance. Itâs a simple story with incredible singing. You wonât be disappointed. I surely wasnât.

This musical captures you from the very beginning. There is not one weak signer or dancer in the cast, they all are amazing! And the story has tons of relatable moments as a Newyorker or even as anyone who has been a teenager (so everyone). The story is quite entertaining and even funny yet it has very deep moments that makes us look into our society and ourselves. I must highlight Kecia Lewis as Miss Liza James moved me to tears, what an unforgettable performance! Whether you are a Newyorker or visiting NYC donât miss out on going to see this musical. Oh! And if you happen to be an Alicia Keys fan like me you will enjoy the songs even more.

As a New Yorker, this is my first broadway show and it did not disappoint! This was quite relatable in terms of going into adulthood but not only that, this reminded me of what is important in life & that is to appreciate things in life. Iâve felt all kinds of emotion, from happiness to sadness & awe for the broadway performers singing & dancing. If your in NY, whether a local or visiting, this is a show youâll need to check out!

What a fabulous show! Everything about this was spectacular, sets, costumes, choreography and performances! I loved how they brought this story to life as a musical. I was extremely impressed with the talent. I was especially impressed with the male lead. His voice and talent were such a delight. Honestly I was moved to tears. It was that good.

This play/musical excellent! Dance/ fight scene just blew my mind! wonderful! I have been ordering my broadway tickets through TripAdvisor and Rakuten. Good seats. Saving money! I go to plays/musicals

Ryan McCartanâs singing voice is lowkey insane. And also Austin Colby and Michael Maliakel were very funny. It does feel like if the story was told from Gatsbyâs perspective unlike the book though, so thatâs something of note. 1920s Gatsby was much less squeaky clean. Also Buchananâs eugenics obsession was removed đ˘

REVIEW: "Sunset Blvd." at the St. James Theatre, July 6, 2025. The show is scheduled to end July 20, 2025.
I have to admit I wasn't planning to see Jamie Lloyd's new production because I felt I had already seen the 2017 revival when at age 70, Glenn Close reclaimed the role of silent screen legend Norma Desmond, the role she originated on Broadway twenty years prior. This 2024 version didn't pique my interest until I saw Nicole Scherzinger win the Tony for Best Actress in a Musical over the redoubtable Audra McDonald last month.
McDonald gave an extraordinary performance as Mamma Rose in "Gypsy" across the street, so I had to see what kind of star turn could have possibly beaten Audra's soul-crushing "Rose's Turn". Lloyd's monochromatically minimalist reworking of the 1994 Andrew Lloyd Weber musical was definitely different but not in ways that altered the storyline significantly. As embodied by Scherzinger, Norma has been turned into a fortyish siren.
She was still a delusional has-been but with an unexpected youthful vibrancy that I thought worked against the ambiguity of her relationship with failing screenwriter Joe Gillis. Her viperish manner and curled line deliveries brought a ravenous comic edge to what was really a noirish story, but it was Scherzinger's dramatic soprano voice that impressed the most with her two showstoppers beautifully rendered, "With One Look" and "As If We Never Said Goodbye".
The inconsistency in the tone of the plot, however, worked against the dramatic resonance of the material. It shifted mercurially from black comedy to noir mystery to outright horror without much sense of transition. Lloyd used live video projections and other multimedia elements for maximum dramatic effect, but sometimes he just went overboard out of sheer hubris like producing the self-aggrandizing opening movie credits.
At the top of Act II was an audience pleasing backstage video that broke the fourth wall. It was recorded live and has Joe traversing the stairs and the various dressing rooms in the St. James and performing the title tune with full participation of the cast as themselves. In what turned out to be his last performance as Joe, a relatively passive character, Tom Francis does what he can with his lunkish presence and dead-eyed stares, but he's definitely no William Holden.
Grace Hodgett Young is pleasantly arresting in the limited role of Joe's innocent love interest, script reader and aspiring screenwriter Betty Schafer, but the subplot between her and Joe felt fleeting. The true standout was Jordan Donica whose beautiful, booming voice masked the silent devotion he displayed for Norma as her manservant Max. Much of the audience was enthralled, but except for Scherzinger's key moments, it simply didn't feel warranted.

Fabulous production. Excellent music, very lively atmosphere and a touching story to accompany the music. Music and dancing were equally fabulous.

Fabulous!!! You wonât be disappointed! Amazing talent ⌠some really big voices that totally touched my heart!! So well done! F. Scott Fitzgerald himself would surely agree!

Fabulous voices. Good acting. Excellent dancing and choreography. Big cars on stage. Depressing storyline but most people already know the story.

Amazing dancing and singing and humor. The sets were out of this world. Canât wait to see the next Disney adventure. The acting was superb the actors fitted their characters like a glove.

I enjoyed this but it does throw a lot of information at you from the start and is very much geared towards musicals rather than straight dramas or comedies (the fact there are more pictures of Jim Dale than Al Pacino just seemed đŤ¤) but as n entertain way of spending 90 minutes or so if you canât see an actual show

Awesome performance!
Could see this musical over and over again! It had it all amazing stage, amazing singing, amazing dancing, funny, heartwarming, poignant, and reflective of the human condition.

From the beginning of Broadway theaters, this museum will show you the history of Broadway theaters through videos, photos, models, behind-the-scenes views and more.
You can appreciate the theater life of NY, the famous musicals and the most important moments of the works in models of the scenery of different works.
A visit actually to enjoy.

Seeing a broadway musical at the Gershwin Theatre was a once in a lifetime experience. What an amazing show and opportunity to see the generational actors and actresses having performed there. BROVO đĽ

Wow!! The show was incredible and truly worth seeing. The story line was not what I expected and the cast was incredible. The range of emotions the show brought out of the audience was amazing. There was laughter, sorrow, and tears of joys from the beautiful voices singing with true power and control. I would see it again and recommend it to everyone. The music made me view Aliciaâs music from different angles and I love her songs even more now. Great for a date night!

I saw Hell's Kitchen with my teenage daughter, and we were both completely moved. The story is so powerful, especially the bond between the mother and daughter, which really hit home for us. The cast was incredible from start to finish, but the actors playing the mom, dad, and piano teacher really stood out. And Ali was perfectly cast, especially amazing for her Broadway debut. The music, energy, and emotion were just amazing.
Itâs one of those shows that stays with you long after you leave the theater. Highly recommend it â especially for mothers and daughters to see together!

Boring!
Set was amazing. Costumes fantastic. Acting and singing voices were very good. We were bored. A couple of the songs were really poor. No chemistry between the actors. Extremely disappointed. Seen much better shows at my local theatre. Thank goodness we saw Moulin Rouge earlier in the week as this was incredible!

A wonderful work that would always be remembered, I could see in 2001, I had no option but to relive it. Great to never forget. Very professional actors and one in the theater feels living the plot of this play.

This is the single most amazing theater experience my wife and I have ever had. Everything in this production is jaw dropping. We flew to New York to see this show and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Such an amazing show!!! Chris Jackson and Jessica Vosk were absolutely incredible. And the iconic music by Alicia keys was the icing on the cake.

Operation Mincemeat was recently imported from London's Westend and initially received mixed reviews until it was tweaked for the American audience. The play is based on a true sequence of events and revolves around supersecret plans for the allies to invade Europe from North Africa bridging through Sicily to the Italian mainland on the toe of the boot South of Naples.
The Golden Theater has been transformed into an office located in a bunker below the streets of London where plans are afoot to mask the allies true plans by passing fake information to the Nazis by dropping a recently passed body into the sea off the coast of Spain. The dead body was carry plans pointing to the attack being aimed at Sardinia, located off of Italy halfway up the boot.
While the plan was ingenious, there were many problems that could act as a foil relative to bringing it off. There was also a background love story between a gentleman officer and a member of the secretary corps. The stage set was minable and there were only five actors in the play.
However, they were able to bring this complicated episode off by playing multiple roles through the use of quick costume changes and hidden passes of props to keep the story moving. This was clever, original, and inventive. What was even more interesting was that three of the cast were women and two male; yet the females were able to bring off male roles with aplomb.
Operation Mincemeat is a musical with a leitmotif and was thoroughly enjoyable. I personally didn't mind some of the British "English" references. Also, tweaking changed such terms as "high tea" for a reference to "cocktail hour." My wife, Arlee, really liked it and the evening was fun-filled.

I went with my husband to see Hell's Kitchen and we both throughly enjoyed it. The energy is a 10/10 from all the cast members but the dancers are incredible. Love how they intertwined some of my favorite Alicia Key's songs into a beautiful coming of age story. It's also a love story to New York in the 90s. The costume design allows you to feel like you are there!

A beyond incredible production!! Everyoneâs voices were amazing and the mics were ON!!! I loved every single moment! Brava!

Perfect song and dance, live music on stage, humor!
You can't take pictures.
It's cold in the room. Food and drinks are allowed in mer. On pause.

What a spectacle of a show. A feast for the eyes and ears. Vibrant, upbeat, mesmerising . A must see. The scene changes were breathtaking, the orchestra outstanding, the costumes out of this world and the vocals were spine tingling. Such a joyous treat

REVIEW: âBuena Vista Social Clubâ at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre on July 5, 2025.
I had never seen as long a line of ticket holders as I did for the Saturday matinee performance of this vibrant musical, and it was refreshing to see the rich ethnic diversity of the crowd. The moment the music started onstage I could see what brought people out and pay Broadway ticket prices to experience this show.
A group of gathering musicians started playing âEl Carreteroâ, and the cast was casually assembling onstage getting into the sound. It became clear from the outset that the music would be centerstage. The 1997 album that inspired this show has long been on my playlist, so most of the music sounded familiar.
Directed by Saheem Ali with a book by Marco Ramirez, the Havana-set story bounced back and forth between pre-revolutionary 1956 and 1996 when a young producer tried assembling his favorite older musicians to record the namesake album. The early focus was primarily on Omara, the younger sibling of a singing sister act.
Although her sister had them lined up for a record contract in the U.S., she met a trio of young musicians she never spoke with before even though theyâve played back-up for her in the past. They hung out and played at the Buena Vista, a club in an across-the-tracks neighborhood which her family disapproves.
The early scenes featured colorful costumes and some wonderful choreography, though the dialogue and dramatic situations were a bit clunky and heavy-handed. Of course, the imminent threat of revolution changed everything, and we find out in the more resonant 1996 scenes what happened to everyone.
Omara had become somewhat imperious as a retired recording legend which Natalie Venetia Belcon fulfilled perfectly. Isa Antonetti played the youthful Omara with grace and spirit, especially in the dance numbers. The rest of the cast is fine, but it was truly the musicians who stole the show from start to finish.

Excellent review of the history of theater in NYC. Fantastic costumes and artifacts from the beginning of the theater. Good for 1 1/2 to 2 hours of your time. A MUST for any theater enthusiast.

With my wife and our 2 kids (8 and 10) ,we spent 1 week in New York for Christmas and The Lion King was the highlight of our trip!
The actors are all amazing, the music is incredible, the costumes are beautiful and the animation and the back drops are just fantastic!
It's a must see show despite the very expensive tickets!

It was a moving experience. The vocals were so powerful that I felt them in my heart. Choreography was fun and the dancing crisp. Loved everything about the show.

WOW! Just experienced the electrifying Hells Kitchen musical and I'm still buzzing with energy plus listening to all songs on repeatđĽ
Alicia Keys has transformed her iconic hits into a breathtaking coming-of-age story that resonates with anyone who's ever had a dream. The moment "Girl on Fire'" filled the theater, I got chills that didn't stop until the final bow. The musical is also a tribute to New York City, so you will end up feeling like a local or loving it as never before if you are already oneđ˝
The standout performances are INCREDIBLE - especially Amanda Reid's portrayal of Ali, capturing all the raw emotion and determination of a young artist finding her voice in NYC.
Another notable performance that made me cry multiple times was by Tony winning actress Kecia Lewis (Miss Liza Jane). Her truth, vocals and connection with the audience didnât leave anyone indifferent.
The set design brilliantly transforms between gritty Hell's Kitchen streets and glittering music venues, creating the perfect backdrop for this journey of talent, perseverance, and finding your true self.
If you are searching for a Broadway show now, this is your sign to get tickets for Hell's Kitchen! It's not just a jukebox musicalâit's a soulful, heartfelt experience that will leave you inspired. âââââ

Phenomenal. Blows some Broadway shows out the water. Incredible cast giving their all to this cult favourite. Entire cast is outstanding but Thomas Doherty is a standout. Would rewatch in a heartbeat

We attended on November 24, 2025! My daughter has been dreaming of a trip to NYC specifically to see a Broadway musical. Jeremy Jordan was the top reason for choosing the Great Gatsby. The show was entertaining from the beginning to the end. The set was beautiful. The entire cast did an incredible job from acting, singing, dancing, all the way to the set crew, music and tech. After the show we stood by the stage exit door in hopes of signatures for her Playbill! All of the main leads came out to great adoring fans, signed playbills and took photos with the fans. It was the highlight of her day. We would 10/10 recommend anyone to see it! You will not regret it.

The performance is a parody, which did not quite meet my expectations. If someone is hoping to hear well-known songs from the film, such as those performed by CĂŠline Dion, they may be disappointed. As a tourist with a B1 level of English, I had difficulty understanding most of the dialogue and jokes. Moreover, the specific type of humor used in the show did not appeal to me. The music also wasnât to my taste.
However, the audience responded enthusiastically and laughed often, so it was clearly well received by many. Personally, I decided to leave halfway through the performance.

I thought the show was enjoyable enough. The characters were all very interesting and had you rooting for all of them. The Alicia Keys songs fit very well into the storyline. However the pacing, especially in act 2 was all over the place. Performers were all incredible though, especially the ensemble dancers.

Absolutely amazing show. Everything about it was great, songs, actors, choreography live band all outstanding. Would go again next time I visit the big apple đ

Anyone who enjoys Broadway should pay a visit here. Takes you through all of Broadway's history, with a special emphasis on huge hits like Oklahoma! and Phantom of the Opera. Maybe could have more focus on drama vs, musicals.

The range of exhibits was sublime with very detailed descriptions/captions. A dream location for any theatre kid. I thoroughly enjoyed the large time span of exhibits, educating us on who came before us to allow broadway and musical theatre to exist as it is.
The only negative is the price of not only the tickets but the merchandise as well - but anything to help support and find the arts!

Every single person in this cast has the most amazing singing voice. The story was brilliant and would 100% recommend this show. All cast were fantastic.

Now i have never stepped foot in a theatre never mind one on Broadway in New York but absolutely loved the show.
Lovely little theatre and followed the musical.
I personally thought the vocals were excellent but iâm no expert!
I would now defo try another show and maybe the Lion King in London next

Overall, I really liked this museum. I was a great mix of artifacts and information! I loved the "backstage" ambiance and secrets while going up the stairs to start the tour, and the chronological order of the exhibits following the intro movie made a lot of sense. Ending with the BTS technical aspects was a treat, too. One thing I didn't love was the competing noises between exhibits. I feel that this museum is one that would lend itself better to be done with individual audio tours, rather than overhead speakers on loop; that way people could opt in and out of when they heard which audio clips.

This was a lot of fun to go through, it took me down memory lane, reminding me of the shows I saw on Broadway (travelling from San Francisco to do so). Now that I live on the east coast, I can get to NYC easier, and definitely plan on returning. Get ready to be amazed!

Absolutely magnificent genius. We didn't understand English but even then it was great. No regrets about the budget it was well worth it. Thank you again for an excellent evening

Hellâs Kitchen completely blew me away. I had heard from multiple friends that they loved it so my expectations were high, but it honestly exceeded them. The way Alicia Keys' music is woven into the story feels seamless and fresh. The cast is phenomenal - their VOICES! My goodness! There wasn't a weak one in the group.
The choreography was next-level and perfectly captured the spirit of New York. I found myself smiling, tearing up, and dancing in my seat all at once.
Whether youâre an Alicia Keys fan or just love a great coming-of-age story with unforgettable music, Hellâs Kitchen is an absolute must-see.

Went to see MJ with my mom. The show was like nothing else Iâve ever seen. From the acting, singing, and dancing I was amazed. This show truly tells a story through dance and is a must see if you like to watch dance. We sat in the balcony and it was perfect spot to see everything! Would recommend this to anyone.

This is a must for any broadway/theater fan! I enjoyed every minute of my 3-hour visit. It gives you history, costumes on display, backstage stories, etc. Thereâs so much more that could be covered so there is room for improvement, but this is definitely a good start. Thereâs a small gift shop that can be visited at the end. Hopefully theyâll keep building on the displays to keep them current.

The story is a delightful spin on the Romeo & Juliet play with a very interesting way of telling the story by intertwining the lives of Shakespeare and his wife. We are from out of town and were not even aware of this show until checking out TKTS a few days before arriving. The Stephen Sondheim theatre is excellent too.

Was an absolutely amazing show! Would recommend to anyone! I loved how they incorporated the music into the show- very tasteful and not overdone.

Havenât seen this show since it opened so I was super excited to see how it held up after all the Tony buzz it had, and it holds up well! If you want to see incredible singing this is the show to see PERIOD. Jessica Vosk brings the house down, as well as Kecia Lewis. Itâs a mix of Alicia Keys songs and some new songs for the musical as well so the blending of the material was interesting! If you want a quintessential New York City show go see this one! Excellent for tourists.
Sat orch left had a great view. Seats are TIGHT very old theater so keep that in mind.

Great Gatsby was an Amazing Show!
My Family and I loved it!
The Costumes, Music and Stage setups were so good!
Was So happy to see this show!

This was an amazing show, I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a Broadway show and are wondering which one to see

Amazing singing and costumes, the party scenes were my favorite and I got discounted student tickets the day of and had a great time with friends!

Context: we live and London and have watched many shows over there they were spectacular in songs, dancing, costumes, lights, effects and orchestra. Then, full of excitement, we booked tickets for this show in Broadway last night. First , the theatre is worse than a church theatre. A school assembly arena is better equipped, with larger seats. But that could have been ok if the shows was âŚ.a show worthy of the expectation. No lighting effect, no costumes (same across entire duration), embarrassing sense of humor of the script ⌠orchestra was good and it was truly the only reason we endured until break. At break, we left. Donât waist money!

Love it ! It was great! Everything was good both the best wast the singing and the decor. The leader was very good both the second acteur were the best. Go see it

One of the highlights of our visit to New York City. This is likely my only chance to experience a Broadway play in NYC. The play was fantastic, and the New Amsterdam Theatre was beautiful. I have never attended a play in such an opulent place. I wish tours were given to explore the theatre and learn about its history. An unforgettable evening for my family.

Amazing show, amazing performance by everyone involved. Me and my family loved it. Would recommend 5âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸
Had the whole family singing and really enjoed the performance

So performances are great. Book is trite. And maybe Alicia needed a few more years before she orchestrated her jukebox musical.

Let me start by saying Nickâs voice is spot on as far a channeling Neil Diamondâs sound. I just saw the show in Palm Desert December 26th. I can imagine how this show must have been amazing at one time but my take away was that this amazingly talented man playing Diamond is burnt. I got the feeling he was so ready to be done with this show. Even during the curtain call I could see him just wanting to be out of there. Maybe Iâm imagining things, but I got the sense that heâs played his heart out one too many times and just wants to be done.

Absolutely the best Broadway show Iâve ever seen! The energy, vocals, and emotion were unreal. Every scene gave chills, every song hit deep, and the cast brought the story to life with so much power. Iâd watch it again in a heartbeat!

A good show, full of humor and sarcasm. Very clever rendition of the story of Jackie Seagal. Watching Christine Chenoweth and F Murray Abraham perform live: priceless. Heâs wonderful and she owns the stage.
I wasnât expecting anything lessâŚ..

Lots of show options & beautiful show signs in the theater district. We saw Book of Mormon and it was hilarious. Do not see if you are religious or easily offended. Not appropriate for children.

I have been waiting way too long to see this show. Thankfully finally got around to it! It was a perfect Saturday night. The music is just so good. Yes there are many Alicia Keys standards, but even the lesser known work is very good as well. The performances are all absolutely fantastic, especially Tony winner Kecia Lewis and Jessica Vosk. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun night out on Broadway with incredible music and a heartwarming story about finding yourself in a city you can easily get lost in.

First, I wish I could post more than 10 pictures as this place was AMAZING! If you are a Broadway show person, you gotta visit. There is a ton of history from all the years, details what/how a show is made. And to top it off, a bunch of stage prop things you can do photo ops. It was terrific!

This show was breathtaking! I originally decided to purchase tickets in May because of the outstanding cast at the time including Sarah Hyland, Ryan McCartan , Samantha, Pauly, and many many more. Iâm also very familiar with the book and other adaptations of The Great Gatsby. I donât think anything could have prepared me for what I was about to see, The Great Gatsby was truly the best experience Iâve ever had in the theater. My favorite musical is now Gatsby and I experienced theatre in a way that I had never before. I felt so many emotions and witnessed so many amazing pieces of music and just some amazing art, costumes, performers, choreography, lighting and set design (also one of the most diverse casts iâve ever seen). The Great Gatsby blew me away (I cried at least 7 times). I will for sure be coming back in August and I hope to see Aisha Jackson as Daisy. I pray Gatsby has a very long run on Broadway and I will be recommending to so many more people.

The Great Gatsby on Broadway is an absolute feast for the eyes and ears! From the moment the curtain rises, youâre transported straight into the dazzling world of the Roaring Twenties. The energy, the music, and the gorgeous costumes all blend into an unforgettable experience.
Jeremy Jordan is perfection as Jay Gatsby â charismatic, mysterious, and vocally brilliant. Eva Noblezada brings such warmth and emotion to Daisy; their chemistry lights up the stage. The entire cast delivers powerhouse performances, backed by breathtaking choreography and a live orchestra that makes every number soar.
The production design is simply spectacular â sparkling parties, lush sets, and lighting that captures both the glamour and melancholy of Gatsbyâs world. While itâs very grand, it also finds tender moments of heartbreak.
The Great Gatsby delivers pure Broadway magic. Itâs romantic, visually stunning, and full of life â a show that leaves you humming the songs and thinking about that green light long after the final bow.

It was beautiful this was my first Broadway show OMG I didn't expect it to be this good it was fire and I'd like to see it again!!!

Very disappointing. Act 1 is a kid's play. Act2, dancers finally appear. Performance forgettable. BAD. You pay for costumes and backdrop.

This was Broadway at its best. I chose Buena Vista Social Club because this is the music I grew up with. The interpretations were flawless, the whole crew is wonderful, musicians, singers, dancers. We had a great time.

One of the best musicals I've seen on Broadway lately and it was incredible because I listened to Alicia Keys like nonstop as a teenager. I loved learning more about her powerful and inspiring story, and I was moved by her relationship with her mother and Miss Liza Jane. The songs fit the story perfectly, and the choreography is amazing!

It was the best show I've ever seen. From the cast to the magic, I actually went back the next night and watched it again. It made my trip to New York absolutely the best. I originally came to see Tom Felton revise his role as Draco Malfoy, however Emmet Smith and Aidan Close seriously stole the show. Those two young actors are going to be stars and I can't wait to follow their journey.
The rest of the cast was absolutely the best as well, John Skelley and Trish Lindstrom blew me away with their parental roles and Ron, (Daniel Frederick) me not being a fan of Ron I couldn't believe what a fantastic job he did as well.
The whole show from start, right when you walk in the theater, the esthetics, the sets, the music, the writing, the effects, the butterbeer, the CAST! Was literally magic from start to finish.
Thank you for the wonderful work that you've done, every single one of you, from lights to sound to costumes, you gave me the best New York Broadway experience that I'll remember the rest of my life.
Also hearing Tom Felton say, "Hermione Granger, I'm being bossed around by Hermione Granger. And I'm mildly enjoying it. " was worth the price of admission.
Thank you again for all the amazing work you've done, I hope to come back again to see it one more time.
With love all the way from Vancouver Island Canada.

The show is amazing. Super punctual. I got tickets for the same day without reservation, and almost at the close of the ticket store.-

Amazing show! Stunning sets and costumes. Great video mapping tech. Excellent talent all around, dancing and singing. Must see!

Costumes, stage sets, dancing and singing. The acting was so utterly professional. I found myself so engaged, cried and laughed. A wonderful production.

Magnificent show, magic operates, superb staging, costumes and magic sets, the singers and dancers are extraordinary: a very good time.

Great show with great seats, we could see everything with no restrictions. Well worth going to see.
What was not so good was the price of 2 wines in plastic Chicago cups $95 shocking !!

Absolutely fantastic! Booked last minute and so glad we did. The entire cast are fantastic, and this musical does the original film justice! A must see!

Big love to my friends over at #SuperAwesomeFriends for inviting me to see Hell's Kitchen: A New Musical On Broadway! đ
The show was crazy goodâŚ
The energy from start to finish was next level. The music of Alicia Keys mixed into the story was genius. Every performer gave it all, and the cast was just phenomenal.
Gotta send extra love to my sis Angela Birchett the voices was voicing tonight for real đđđž
If youâre anywhere near New York, take some time and go see this one. Itâs worth every second.
#HellsKitchenTheMusical #Broadway #SuperAwesomeFriends #TheatreLife #DateNight

This was a great musical to see it was definitely funny. The dancing and the costumes were Really Beautiful. I would definitely bring my kids to watch this. The older teenagers. Of course, there are some jokes that probably are not suitable for younger kids. But it was a lot of fun.

Worth the price of admission and you can not beat the location!!! At first the museum seems rather small, and then it keeps going and going and going. They've included mostly costumes and scenery from shows but have some unique and important exhibits giving you a look behind the scenes as well. The room dedicated to the memory of the loss of people due to AIDS was a thoughtful and well appointed use of space. For sure if you are a Broadway fanatic it is a must see and even if you are a casual theater person, there are more things than you realize that are a part of pop culture that got their start on Broadway. We got there 3 hours before closing and it was great because as the museum got less crowded we really got to take our time and look at everything closely.

Great to see a classic movie brought to the stages. The show, cast and music were all so entertaining. Nice small theatre too that made it even better.
Perfect way to spend a family evening in NYC.

Lovely, old fashioned playhouse small but intimate. Great seats after box office lady felt sorry for our booked through Trip Advisor ones. Probably all seats have a good view though.
Love the songs in Chigago and the cast and band did justice to them. Choreography excellent as was the energy. Velma Kelly ( Bianca Marroquin) was outstanding. Loved Amos and Billy Flynn too (Raymond Bokhour and Tam Mutu.
Free programme but heard drinks were very expensive. Great night out

The show is an excellent depiction of MJs life throughout the years of his life..the music was great and the stage presence was beautiful ..

I finally saw Hellâs Kitchen on Broadway, and it truly captures the heartbeat of New York. The music, the choreography, and the energy are electric. Alicia Keysâ songs hit even harder on stage, and the cast delivers every moment with so much power and emotion.
The story has a few rushed parts, but the performances and the music make the whole experience worth it. If you love NYC vibes, strong vocals, and a show that feels alive, this oneâs definitely worth seeing. đđšđ

The Broadway and Times Square Mood at Night is unique and you cannot lose. We attended the moulin Rouge musical and it was spectacular. Very good!!

Great show, incredible performances. We loved how they updated the show with relevant recent pop songs. The main characters of the show were fabulous.

I had the chance to see Hellâs Kitchen on Broadway, and it was an unforgettable experience! The show is a musical inspired by Alicia Keys NYC life experiences and it beautifully captures that mix of youthful ambition, family dynamics, and the search for identity. The music was amazing!

Staying on broadway we wanted to experience a show. Initially we went to the ticket booths in Times Square to purchase a ticket on the day but they offered a very poor service and did not appear interested at all! So we decided to visit the theaters booth directly. A great gentleman in the booth found us some great seats at a good price sitting in the orchestra section. The show is nearly 3 hours long with a short interval. It was fabulous! Acting was great. Good humour throughout too. There are amazing affects which will thrill you. Not seen affects like this on a stage before. Very well executed and designed! Great show for all ages. Lovely small theatre with character too. Go ahead and book it!

I was genuinely impressed by the show. While I wouldnât call myself a big Alicia Keys fan, the way her music was woven into the story was incredibly creative and effective. The ensemble dancing was a standoutâit brought so much energy to the stage and was absolutely electric. Even if youâre not typically into musicals, this one is worth seeing. The story is heartfelt, relatable, and beautifully told.

Definitely a must see for Broadway lovers! It was so cool seeing some of the costumes/props from certain shows and learning this history of Broadway.

Absolutely wonderful! Nicole Scherzinger was fabulous - unbelievable vocals and fun and witty acting. The entire show was well produced and very entertaining. We paid top dollar for our tickets and would happily pay the same amount to see the show again.

Amazing vocals and acting. The ensemble was truly entertaining- and one of the bests! Definitely see it if you love Alicia Keys and want to see a story based on her teenage self. A wonderful coming of age story.

The 1920âs but bedazzled and with such color. The music, the tap dancing, the unexpected ending, the visual effects, and the relationship kept me entertained the entire time. They worked amazing with the actors, color, and architecture of the set.

What a delightfully uplifting show! Cast was sensational and many laugh out loud moments. Quality of singing was exceptional, particularly Audrey and Seymour, held together beautifully by the quality, energy and wonderful harmonies of the three street urchins. An absolute must see!

Amazing show. Music and dancing were outstanding. The energy of this production was over the top ! The entertainers were top notch.

What a brilliant show! The costumes, music, choreography and storytelling was amazing.
Theatre offers refillable cola etc for $10 and provides a free programme for the event.

Hellâs Kitchen is an incredibly entertaining show â I loved how seamlessly Alicia Keysâ songs were woven into the story. They werenât just straight renditions of her hits, but reimagined in a way that felt fresh, emotional, and theatrical.
Kecia Lewis as Miss Liza Jane is an absolute superstar â every moment sheâs on stage feels electric. Jessica Vosk as Jersey completely blew me away; her vocals are unreal and she brings such charisma to the role. Christopher Jackson is also a standout and brings real heart to every scene.
That said, the love story didnât quite land for me. I wouldâve loved a deeper dive into Aliâs personal journey â her work with Miss Liza, her growth as a pianist, and her finding her voice â even if thatâs not the traditional Alicia Keys story. The chemistry between Ali and Knuck just wasnât there for me, though Ali and Jersey had great chemistry and strong vocals throughout.
My only other note: some of the ensemble dancing felt unnecessary and even distracting at times. The show could easily tighten things up by scaling that back a bit.
Still, Hellâs Kitchen is vibrant, powerful, and full of talent â and the music will stick with you long after the curtain falls.

Last night was my second time seeing Hell's Kitchen and it was just as fun and energizing as the first time I saw it a year ago. Camille A. Brown's choreo is so exciting to watch, and the vocal talent of this cast (!!!!!!!) is incredible. There's also something so moving about hearing "Empire State of Mind" in NYC...nothing else like it! Highly recommend bringing a group to this one :)

From the moment the curtain rose, The Great Gatsby on Broadway delivered everything I hoped for in a top-tier theatre experience.
The indoor fireworks and dynamic lighting effects brought the story to life with a real sense of magic, while the music perfectly amplified each sceneâs emotion.
I was especially impressed by how seamlessly the stage transitions flowed, each set change felt like part of the performance itself, keeping the pace engaging from start to finish.
The castâs performances were equally outstanding; every actor and actress brought depth, energy, and authenticity to their roles, matching the high expectations I had for a Broadway show.
For anyone seeking an immersive night of world-class theatre, this production is an absolute must-see.

It was a great show, tremendous singing, dancing, acting and plenty of special effects. The show was exciting, plenty of great punch lines and quite humorous.

Excellent show that used the stage to bring the book to live. Casting was amazing and accurate. Jay Gatsby was perfectly cast

This show did not let us down!! So much great talent!! Comedy scenes were hilarious. So many moving scenes that left us in goosebumps!!

The set and costumes and vocals were phenomenal and the choreography blew me away. It's such a beautiful show I highly recommend

The theatre was clean and inviting
All staff very friendly and helpful
The show was fantastic and we sat at the very back last row! This didnât take anything away from it. The effects were good and added great excitement to the show

A very good show. The theatre is great and the actors are giving you their best best at all times.
Broadway will always be Broadway đ

I went to see Hellâs Kitchen last night. It was so much fun! The cast was full of amazing actors and even more amazing singers. The supporting cast were great dancers. This is a great show to bring your teenager and up for a wonderful night in NYC. Hearing so many rearranged Alicia keys hits was also amazing. You never know what to expect but this is definitely a hit! Thereâs also a live band that keeps the energy up. Would go again and again and again.

Jeremy Jordan put his heart and soul into making the title character someone we could sympathize with. His singing truly impressed me and moved me. Some of the harshly critical reviews said this musical tampered with the novelâs original tone which, apparently, left no moral centre in the actions, no characters with any redeeming qualities, and no one to root for. Well, I say yay for the tampering! In addition to marvellous singing and great dancing, the sets were beautiful. I highly recommend this production.

Overall, Hell's Kitchen on Broadway is a delight. Every performer in the cast brings is incredible. Specific standouts are Kecia Lewis and Amanda Reid (Jessica Vosk was out for my performance but Nyseli Vega was fantastic). While I'm always a bit hesitant with a jukebox musical, the story uses songs by Alicia Keys in a really thoughtful way. I also think the tone of the show balances serious and funny really well. Would definitely recommend!

The play is primordial, fun and at the same time brings a very serious message about the greed and weaknesses of the human being. The actors are spectacular, and the theater, minor, makes us feel part of the cast. I loved it and highly recommend it!

Ok. This was SO MUCH BETTER THAN I EXPECTED!! I had read reviews saying you need an hour or so to see it all. I left two hours in our schedule to do this museumâŚand truthfully we needed double that. Maybe triple. There is SO MUCH to do, see, read, and discuss. If youâre not a âtheatre personâ and just want to walk through and take some photos, 2 hours will be enough. If youâre interested in theatre, the history of the arts, the history of New York, the intersection of arts and politics or basically anything to do with BroadwayâŚ.give yourself all day!!
The entire experience here was outstanding. The staff were so friendly, helpful and kind. My teen had a terrific conversation with a young staff member who had newly graduated theatre school and she left feeling so inspired. He took time to show interest in her own performing experience and goals which was so lovely.
The amount of information contained in that museum is huge. My mother loves to stop and read everything and she sadly felt rushed (my fault, I really believed the reviews that said 1-ish hours is all you need!). My teen loved to pose for all the photo ops and I could have spent way more time learning and exploring.
It was a WONDERFUL experience and if we had more days here weâd go back for a full afternoon. Next time!!!

Great acting, sets, music. The play artfully includes the inferences and interpretations you struggled to make when you read this in high school. Adds to a long line of movies with a fresh approach that only a Broadway musical can provide. Fantastic.

We loved it! The talent, the sets, the costumes, all spectacular! Row R was great. The theater is well arranged so you donât have heads in front of you. The cast were so genuine and gracious when we met them at the stage door. I canât say enough good things. We saw it with Ryan McCartan (Jeremy was off that night) and he was amazing! This show is everything that you want Broadway to be.

I LOVED the Queen of Versailles. First, I loved the music and songs. If I could ask for anything more in that regard I would ask for more harmonies Because the voices are so strong. Kristin Chenoweth, as always is amazing. đ¤Š
I think people are not immediately getting the story: We are watching a true history repeating itself which is the reason the story is spliced and layered with the historical Marie Antoinette.
Ask yourself, if Marie Antoinette lived in the US in the 21st century, what would her life look like? In Jackie, we have a real life answer.
This is in many ways is the true American 21st century story of Marie Antoinette. I am stunned how the real Versailles triggered the cycle.
Marie Antoinette and Jackie Siegel both became symbols of what happens when you marry wealth and believe that a husbands wealth is a measure of their success. They were a spectacle of their time. They both lived huge, beautiful, ridiculous lives that fell apart when reality crashed in,,, a revolution for one, a recession for the other. People mocked them, then turned them into pop culture icons because thatâs what we do with fallen royals and reality stars.
Both lost children, and only through that loss we see their humanity, and their fierce grief informs us, too late, that they are human, and not just caricatures. Both became pop-culture villains of their time. Marie withdrew; Jackie doubled down. Different centuries, same survival instinct.
Oneâs head rolled, the other got a documentary, yet both became entertainment.
There is a lot of themes covered in this musical and each character drives the story and I was thoroughly entertained

Hellâs Kitchen literally brought me to tears. The show beautifully weaves together themes of coming of age, family, love, and the power of owning your voice. The way Alicia Keysâ music was threaded through the show 10/10. Each song highlighted different shades of love and life.
Whether itâs romantic love, the ache of the past, or the fire of chasing your dreams, the music becomes the heartbeat of every scene. The performances are raw, emotional, and incredibly moving, every character, every note, every moment pulls you in completely. Hellâs Kitchen reminds you that moments of joy, heartbreak, and the unexpected never last forever, but they shape who you become. By the end, you leave feeling inspired, full of emotion, and deeply connected to the story. Truly an unforgettable experience.

A show that inspires you in more ways than one. My love for Alicia Keys, NYC, the artists that make this city great, Jessica Vosk and the incredible Kecia Lewis, grew immensely after this performance. Itâs vibrant but also provides life lessons that we can all use no matter what stage of life we are in currently.

There's mta queue but eh everything mto organized, and the places are respected. I loved the play, had moments to sneeze. The artists count, perform and dance.

The show was terrific. I was so impressed by how accessible the story was to everyone in our group, including my teen who wouldnât have the patience for F. Scott Fitzgerald in a million years! The performances were outstanding and it was such a big, beautiful production. I booked it as our first show on our trip because I had read it was a glamorous and fun evening at the theatre Iâm glad I did. Awesome music, stunning sets, solid acting, fabulous choreography. The show was just amazing. The cast was super gracious and many came out to greet fans at the stage door. My teen daughter was so delighted to meet some of the performers and get her program signed and take some selfies.
Why not 5 stars? The theatre itself. We sat in the centre section of the lower mezzanine (great seats for a show like this where you want to see the whole spectacle!!) and the ushers simply couldnât keep up with the unbelievable number of RUDE people pulling out their phones and spoiling the show for every urn around them. We were sitting behind a group or 6 and 3 of them were texting, snap chatting, sneaking photos of the show, and generally being disgusting, disrespectful pigs. The ushers tried over and over to intervene but no luck. We ended up moving after intermission but the problem was so rampant and the ushers seemed to give up. The show and gracious cast deserve 10 stars but the fact that we could spend so much on a night out only to have the staff throw up their hands and let entitled brats spoil the experience for everyone must be noted.

We attended the Aladdin musical on Broadway, and the performance was truly impressive. The artists were very talented and sang beautifully, with the Genie being an absolute standout. We had seats in the uppermost tier, and unfortunately witnessed a few stage events that slightly spoiled some of the surprise moments. Nevertheless, the orchestra was excellent, and we really enjoyed the many special effects throughout the show. Exiting the theater was also very smooth and efficient. Overall, a magical experience worth seeing.

Hellâs Kitchen was an energetic and heartfelt production filled with incredible music and choreography. I loved how the songs seamlessly blended into each scene, enhancing the mood and emotion behind the story. Jessica Vosk brought real depth to the role of the mother, her voice resonating beautifully throughout the theater.
Amanda Reid was equally impressive, portraying a young woman navigating life in New York with honesty and authenticity â it reminded me of experiences I see every day living here. A few scenes felt slightly extended, but the strong musical numbers made up for it.
Overall, itâs a vibrant and moving show that Iâd absolutely recommend, especially if youâre a fan of Alicia Keysâ music or enjoy stories rooted in NYC life and coming-of-age

Well worth the time and cost for any fan of broadway or history in general. We expected a half hour walk through and ended up spending an hour and a half. Many nostalgic displays and behind the scenes exhibits.

We enjoyed a professional production with laughs from start to finish. Talented group of actors. Quality performance for a fraction of what other shows cost.

This was my first ever broadway show, and first trip to NYC! We had no idea this was even going on until we got there. My 10 year old son & I walked to the theatre an hour before the show was to start to see if there were any tickets available. We had AWESOME seats (probably way cheaper than they should have been). It was an AMAZING show!! I love MJ & my son has been researching him for school, so he was familiar with the music & his life story. He loved it as well, and was the highlight of our trip!! I canât say enough good things about our experience - the only downside was we left with a $35 MJ glove & a $10 bag to put it in đ. So worth it!! And very nice theatre!!

The experience was some how marred due to buying my ticket from Trip Advisor, after queuing up and going through security to could not enter as the ticket supplied by yourselves does not contain a QR code. To resolve this I had to go back out the exit to the box office to then get a scannable paper ticket and then join the back or the queue again, once in the seating is a little cramped so beware if you have any joint conditions.
Now the show âŚâŚâŚ this was a great production and filled in some gaps and provided some answers that the series left, very professionally done and some of the backdrops, props and lighting was mind blowing. I can honestly say that if it was not for the ticket shambles it would be scoring a 4.8

The sheer quality of broadway shows is worth the trip to NYC. We saw Michael Jackson show yesterday and it was fantastic... from storytelling to acting.

I had an amazing time watching this Broadway show Hellâs Kitchen with my good friend. The music was amazing. The actors were just incredible dancers on everything about their show magnificent. As a New York visit home so much.

My second time seeing this show and loved it even more. Maybe Happy Ending is a must see. The Belasco is a fabulous intimate theater.

Holy cow! The show I saw was nothing like I saw before! Iâm a huge theatre person and I felt so happy I could go to this show!!

AWSOME view and performance was incredible, eveyone in the cast was amazing and I was smiling the whole time because of how good it was

If you're looking for the spectacle of a true Broadway experience, you can't go wrong with The Great Gatsby. The singing, the dancing, the sets, the costumes, the orchestra! Absolutely loved it and will be bringing family members in the future.

This is my second time seeing this production and itâs been HILARIOUS both times. The theater is cozy and we sat in the second row making it easy to see all the shenanigans on stage. There were several elementary aged kids at the show when we went and they seemed to be enjoying it as much as we did - what a great show to introduce kids to theater!
There are plenty of restrooms at the theater as well as a couple little bars downstairs. Overall a great experience both times Iâve visited.

We're okay with bad language and with gay and a black Abraham Lincoln. But it wasn't funny. It was stupid. Jane krakowski is an excellent actress but she couldn't save a bad script. Don't waste your time and money

I loved everything about this show!!!! The songs, the storyline, the actors and I could go on and on. I would give this show more than 5 circles if I could.

Very high energy performance. Loved the songs and actors. We had first row tickets. Plot was interesting and scenery great.

Outstanding! Slick, entertaining, and 100% professional. Good to see British humour landing so well on Broadway. Very funny, and cleverly written. Loved it. Highly recommended.

I had been in the city with my mom looking for things to do, and since it was a Monday, not many shows were open. After some researching, we discovered that The Great Gatsby was open that day. It was a show that had been on my radar for quite some time now, but I was never too passionate. When I checked the website, it stated that night was going to be Aisha Jacksonâs first night and Ryan McCartan would be Gatsby. I saw that was immediately excited. We rushed to the box office since the show started in a few hours, and lucky enough they had seats. We grabbed two seats in the back and ran back to the hotel. Around thirty minutes before the show starts, we get to the lobby to grab some merch and a snack, and then found our seats. I usually like to listen to the soundtrack of a show before I see it, but I feel that was not necessary. Going in completely blind (except for knowing a bit of Roaring On and New Money), did not matter, since I was able to understand everything perfectly. Once the show ended, we both got up and ran to the backstage door at bows to get playbills singed. I didnât think that either Ryan or Aisha would come out, but I was still hopeful. We got playbills singed by Michael, Samantha, and Linedy. It had started to rain so we started to pack up, when we see Ryan come out. I got to talk to him for a bit and he was so sweet. I asked him if I could get a photo, and he said âOf course, honey!â A few minutes go and still no Aisha, so people start leaving. So many people left, to the point where I was able to advance myself to the very front of the line. Then, all of a sudden, cameras, lights, family, friends, and more all come rushing out of the building. I was so confused until I saw her. Aisha. I was stunned and so excited. Some guy even came up to me and gave us an umbrella. I got her autograph, and then I realized I was the very first ever playbill she signed as Daisy on Broadway. She had such a nice tone and was so kind. everyone was great, both on and off stage. The show was probably my favorite one Iâve ever seen on Broadway, and I really hope to see it again someday. After all, the party roars on.

I definitely wanted to see this show and I had organized my stay in NY partly according to the sessions. As a result, I had a wonderful time, and I even cried at the end (but no spoiler). The cast is amazing, they are all gifted, and of course the music is good and beautiful. Alicia Keys was already my favorite singer, and now I love her even more!

Great show. If real life offends you..... you won't enjoy it. Surprised that they held back with so many jabs about the book of momo readily available.

Amazing Show! Great Cast, Great Dancing! Laughs! Really kept me entertained. The dancing numbers were incredible! Highly recommend seeing this fabulous show!

Hellâs Kitchen was such a good time from start to finish. The energy in the theater was electric, and even if youâre not a huge Alicia Keys fan, the music hits in a totally fresh way. The performances were what really blew me away thoughâthe mom, piano teacher, and dad each had these stunning, emotional moments that carried so much power and soul. The choreography and set design made everything feel very âNew York,â in the best way possibleâgritty, heartfelt, and full of life. Itâs one of those shows that leaves you smiling and humming on the way out, feeling like you just watched something that really celebrates the city and the people who make it home.

Beyond expectations!!! AMAZING. Broadway Theater is beyond beautiful- staff was wonderful. Great Gatsby is a must see.

We were in town to see Hamilton on stage for the first time (with Leslie Odom Jr!). On the morning we were leaving we had a few hours to kill and decided to check out this museum. There's no way around it: ticket prices are high, even by NYC standards. Lots of information, and fun to see all the props and costumes from beloved shows.

Visiting Broadway is immersing yourself in the best of American theater life.
Chicago is one of the works I wanted to see for a long time and enjoys watching the life of Chicago in the 1920s with those musical numbers that are never forgotten with their beautiful scenery, the magnificent singers with their jazz music, everything is wonderful to live on stage.

Excellent show. We had a great time. For those who are not bilingual, the advice is to watch the film before to navigate the story. Must see

The show is simply the best on Broadway. Strong cast and memorable performances. No wonder they have a nominated Tony winner with Kecia Lewis- her delivery is brilliant. If you are visiting New York, this gives you that New York feel. My love for Alicia Keys is even stronger.

This is a wonderful true story of sheer grit by MI5 and their role in deceiving Hitler. That was seen as a turning point in the war.
It was WW II and the year 1943. It was a master plan that British spooks devised and they got away with it. The masterminds were the myopic Charles Cholmondeley (played by David Cumming) and Ewan Montagu (acted by Gerianne Perez). They planted a corpse allegedly Royal Marine Major William Martin with a brief case with what we now call fake news of British plans to attack Sardinia. (It really the body of. Welsh drifter called Gwynedd Michael, retrieved from the morgue).
The Brits wanted to take over Sicily which was teeming with thousands of Nazi soldiers. The Fuehrer came across the papers and believing the fake papers moved his troops to Sardinia leaving Sicily for the Brits to take over.
Itâs playing now in The Golden Theatre in Broadway after a run in West End. Itâs won The Tony Award and the Olivier Award. The new musical is of course based on the non-fiction book and the movie of the same name. This is funny and fast moving. The props are wonderful and they move them around with great impact. The acting and the music is simply excellent. And the best part is that the actors are newbies who have not dabbled previously in musicals.
Itâs truly a mandatory âmust seeâ!

Saw Hadestown at Walter Kerr Theatre. Great experience. My daughter was over the moon. Beautiful theater.
Went to Broadway Museum that afternoon. Enjoyed seeing the memorabilia and back stage stuff.

We got a discount code for this museum after buying tickets for a show, so look out for those!
Each mise-en-scène representing prominent theatrical productions were wonderfully colourful and characteristic. I particularly enjoyed reading up on the history of musicals. The Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS section was moving. A behind-the-scenes segment goes into detail about the jobs of stage managers, prop makers etc.
Wave after wave of loud, obnoxious âtheatre kidsâ made some of the reading difficult.

I think we overpaid for the tickets as the price of the tickets was shown much less than what I paid. Also as they didnât designate seat numbers until we got to the theatre I was disappointed by the seats assigned without our knowledge.

Unfortunately not a good show. The whole thing just doesnât work. The acting from most actors is very wooden. A lot of the songs are sung badly and speeded up or changed with dance routines that donât fit whatâs going on at the time. It all felt very stereotypical.

I'm so glad I went to see Hell's Kitchen. The book has a ton of heart and humor, the performers are all incredible, and the music is great. Hell's Kitchen reimagines what it means to be a jukebox musical â I was surprised and delighted by how they reworked and interpreted Alicia Keys's music for the stage.

I recently saw Hellâs Kitchen on Broadway, and it was an incredible experience. The show brilliantly weaves Alicia Keysâ music into a heartfelt coming-of-age story set in New York City, exploring themes of love, race, identity, and family. What stood out most were the vocals â every performer delivered outstanding performances, each bringing their own unique flair and emotion to Aliciaâs songs without trying to sound like her. The result felt authentic, soulful, and fresh. I also loved how the production highlighted legendary musicians and underscored the importance of community and creativity. Hellâs Kitchen is a vibrant, powerful, and beautifully told story that celebrates music, love, and the spirit of NYC â a must-see Broadway show Iâd highly recommend.

Frantic. Loud. Overhyped. Lots of special effects but the acting entailed lots of mugging and not much depth. Did like the costumes.

Hellâs Kitchen truly won me over. It captures one of the many real-life stories you find in New York: the relationship between a strong mother and a daughter trying to find her own path, with a somewhat absent father and music as her safe space. I also appreciated how naturally the show portrays an interracial family, something so characteristic of the city.
The versions of Alicia Keysâ songs were amazingâfresh, powerful, and perfectly woven into the storyline. The talent of the cast honestly gave me goosebumps; their vocals were so impressive and emotional that they moved me more than once. I also loved that there was more music than dialogue, which made the whole show dynamic, smooth, and engaging from start to finish.
Honestly, it was a very pleasant surprise⌠and I would absolutely watch it again.

Amazing show! Highly recommend! The leads were insane! If you love NYC or Alicia keys this is your musical! Enjoyed the storyline

Such a fun and surprisingly informative museum! Lots of original Broadway costumes and props, as well as photos of original casts. Must-see for all Broadway fans, and anyone even slightly interested in theater!

Should have done my homework. I canât believe this is an award winning show. Just shows how warped and sad our world has become. Not at all entertaining.

So much fun for theater lovers!! My friend and I were at the museum for about 2 hours, but I easily could have spent much longer. The displays are broken up by musical and I loved turning the corners to see the surprises coming next. The Phantom chandelier art display is spectacular!! The Rent area made me feel like I was there on the set. Thank you also for having the "Kinky Boots"!! My fave musical of all time!!

It's much more worth going to Brodway than watching the movie. I'm not musical, but I really enjoyed the live orchestra and outside of the romantic scenes, it's a great show. I realized why it's been more than 20 years as a must you have to watch in NY.

They took a book and made a musical of the story. It is a story I think most know. This musical made it "sing". The voices of the leads are absolutely amazing. This show has more than its share of "11 o'clock" numbers. They don't wait for the end to belt out the tunes. It happens throughout the entire score.

Eye popping costumes, fabulous set and scene changes that made you feel part of the action. great characters and a classy, clever retelling!

Wonderful show, and GREATLY improved since it's move to Broadway from the Papermill. All of the cast were great, but the man taking over wad especially incredible - a Tony Award winning performance!

Hellâs Kitchen was so much fun! Between the music, the storyline, and the chemistry between the characters, this was one of my favorite shows. Alicia Keysâ music was the backdrop to one of the greatest stories Iâve seen on Broadway. The whole cast was amazing- Jessica Vosk was outstanding, she brought the house down! Canât wait to come back with some friends!

Well. This was a weird Broadway experience. First off, the amazing: what a brilliant principal cast. We were so happy to see the entire original cast (minus Megan Hilty, which was disappointing as I had seen her as Glinda years ago, but Dee Roscioli was absolutely fabulous and I feel lucky to have seen her perform!). The production was big, bold, dazzling, and altogether a treat! Despite the story focusing on middle aged women, my teen daughter was all-in and loved every second. It was hysterical and the singing was of course next level. Big laughs the entire time. The âthat was rudeâ moment that my kiddo recognized from Tik Tok was a treat for her to behold live and Jennifer Simard is just fantastic.
Ok, now the weird:
Kind of weird: This was our third show of this trip and the first time weâve found the theatre staff to be rude. An usher misdirected us to the wrong section of the mezzanine and his colleague treated us like we were idiots for not being able to find our seats? Not exactly a great way to begin our night.
Really weird: I canât believe Iâm writing this. The ensemble of the show. Brilliant dancers. Amazing vocalsâŚ.in Act 1. Midway through Act 2 I saw two ensemble members start giggling during a dance number. Live theatre! Gotta love it! But thenâŚ.it didnât stop. The last quarter of the show was very hard to focus on because the ensemble was very weirdly pulling focus from the principals by doing things like playing with each otherâs hands and smirking during a scene where they were supposed to be silently standing and mourning while the leads performed. It reminded me a lot of high school theatre. There are thousands of young performers who would give anything to be on that stage and it felt icky and disrespectful to see young performers disrespect the work, their colleagues and the audience that way. The show is a comedy but when the supporting actors are enacting their own inside jokes instead of focusing on telling us the story it loses something.
The just plain sad: my teen discovered the stage door on this trip. She had the most wonderful, inspiring, lovely experiences interacting with gracious and appreciative performers after Joy the off-Broadway musical and The Great Gatsby. She and hundreds of other audience members raced to the stage door after this show. Mostly young people. She knew it was unlikely that any of the leads would come say hi. But what crushed her was that when members of the ensemble came out to the cheers and adoring gazes of these young fans, they were actively rude. She said they didnât even smile or wave, they avoided eye contact and had a loud conversation in front of the fans and then walked away. It is absolutely not part of these peopleâs jobs to sign autographs or take photos. It was a Tuesday night and actors are people. But going out of their way to not only ignore the fans but to be blatantly rude and dismissive was another thing. My teen felt like they were ârubbing it inâ by coming out the stage door and standing in front of the fans behaving as though they donât exist. Why not just discreetly walk away? After seeing their behaviour on stage Iâm not surprised. Perhaps it made them feel important to come out and give a bunch of kids false hope that they might get a smile or wave only to behave as though they are too important to take 1 second to say âthanks for comingâ and then leave?
Ick.

Wonderful Show- Fun costumes and choreography, incredible set, amazing cast. Ryan McCartan is fabulous in the role of Gatsby.

I love musicals and West end/broadway shows so the museum was a must visit on my recent trip to new york. I didn't realise the museum was so big and there was so much to see. I came on the morning of the day I was leaving so felt like I had to rush a little bit even though I was there 2 hours, I wish I'd come a different day so I could take it all in. I particularly loved the 2nd floor with the more recent shows like lion king, wicked, cats, phantom etc as I wasn't familiar with a lot of the shows etc on the 1st floor and the earlier years. It was interesting to hear how long some of the shows have been running and how many people have visited etc. If you love shows its deffo worth a visit and it was good value for money. There was staff throughout to answer any questions, it was well laid out and had everything you would want included

This was the best show Iâve seen in years. Every single cast member was superb and the musicâŚâŚ It was like being at a concert. No wonder the musicians won a special Tony award. Joyous, hopeful and heartfelt- just an amazing show!

The new Broadway production of The Great Gatsby dazzles with scale and music, but the leading heroine strays far from Fitzgeraldâs vision. Instead of a delicate, fragile Daisy, the performance presented a shrewd woman, lacking the mystery and elegance that define her in the novel.
The result is a show that looks impressive, yet misses the mark where it matters most â in capturing the true essence of the character.

The sets were out of this world amazing, I felt as if I was living the story along with the actors! The dance numbers were so beautiful and intricate, I especially loved the tap dancing! Overall the show truly exceeded my expectations and they were pretty high to begin with! The actors and actresses were phenomenal there were many moments during the show when I was in pure awe. Their acting and singing abilities are outstanding. Truly a 10/10 experience.

All I can say is wow. Wow wow. Regardless of your upbringing or where you are from from the minute to show opens the Music makes you feel like you were at the Buena Vista Social Club. In spite of being born in the United States, I felt that music, and I felt the plate of the storyline. You could hear during the musical during the sad times people, weeping, but the rest of the time. If you looked around the theater people were almost dancing in their seats. I cannot wait to bring my kids to see this. This is one of those musicals that if you are a musician, you will adore., if you are into history, itâs amazing. The dancing was superb. Every piece of this musical evoked a feeling of being in Cuba. I canât wait to see it again.

Absolutely magical! Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in New York City was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The moment the lights dimmed, I was completely transported into the wizarding world. The performances were phenomenalâeach actor brought the characters to life with such passion and precision. The choreography and stage effects were truly mind-blowing; I kept asking myself, âHow did they do that?â
Every scene was so well crafted, I never wanted the show to end. The energy, emotion, and storytelling were beyond anything Iâve seen on Broadway. And if youâre goingâgetting Platinum Lounge access is a must! It made the experience feel even more special with early entry, a private bar, and a relaxing space before the magic began.
Whether youâre a lifelong Potter fan or new to the story, this show is a masterpiece. Truly one of the best nights of theatre Iâve ever had! â¨đŞ

Great singing, great choreography. Very entertaining! A must see show!
MJ actor totally resembled MJ. One of the best Broadway shows.

The story was just so so. It was a little difficult to follow even though Iâve read all the books and seen all of the movies and Iâm a huge potter fan. The father son characters were so close in age. It was a little unbelievable. However, the magic that they did on stage was out of this world amazing. Itâs worth seeing the show just to see that.

Amazing show. Would highly recommend to people especially to those who read the novel and to those who enjoy Broadway shows

The Broadway Museum is an absolute must-visit for theater lovers and anyone curious about the magic behind the stage. Every exhibit is beautifully curated, interactive, and thoughtfully designed, bringing Broadwayâs history and creativity to life in such an engaging way. From iconic costumes and sets to immersive experiences that make you feel part of the show, itâs both nostalgic and inspiring. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and itâs clear how much care went into every detail. Whether youâre a lifelong Broadway fan or a first-time visitor, this museum is a truly memorable experience.

I finally got to see Hellâs Kitchen last night, and wow - this cast is unreal. Every performer is electric, with voices and energy that completely fill the theater. There were moments that made me laugh, moments that broke my heart, and by the end I was in tears.
The show is powerful, moving, and full of soul - a true celebration of music, community, and resilience. It brought the house down and left me completely inspired. If you love Broadway, this one is absolutely not to be missed.

Packed with information, photos and displays telling the story of Broadway, start to present. Don't overlook the fun, informational stairwells!

If you donât mind women referred to as cu___ and twa__ go for it. Overly vulgar and highly offensive (unless youâre a gay man). The audience was 75% gay and the cast referenced itâŚ.. I was embarrassed for my wife and 2 twentysomething daughters that I brought to this. Much of the laughter was based on âI canât believe they said thatââŚ.the easiest laugh in comedy. UghâŚso bad

the great gataby was amazing loved every part of it. can't wait to see it again. the music the actors the wardrobe.. everything amazing.

Iâm not usually into plays or musicals, but my wife thought I might enjoy this oneâand she was right. Neil Fradiani, who played Neil Diamond, was fantastic. Heâs got a great voice, and his performance really carried the show. I thought the story of Neil Diamondâs life was well told, engaging, and included just the right amount of humor.
It was my first visit to the Pantages in 35 years, and itâs still a great venue with a lot of character. That said, the concessions were ridiculously overpricedâ$50 for two glasses of wine and a bag of pretzels was hard to swallow. As for the production, while the lead was excellent, I did feel that some of the supporting cast, particularly the dancers and backup singers, didnât quite match the overall caliber of the show. In my opinion, casting should prioritize performance ability above all else and not be based on color or ethnicity. Two of the backups were obese and hard to watch. Stop the DEI crap and just hire the best. Still, despite those few drawbacks, it was a very enjoyable night and a well-done tribute to Neil Diamondâs music and legacy.

I found out by chance about this museum while purchasing tickets for a Broadway musical. Since it was 5 minutes from our hotel, we decided to go. My daughter graduated from college with a degree in Theatre Design and Production and has worked on many shows since childhood. She loves Broadway. We really enjoyed the museum. It was an excellent experience and provides a thorough history of the industry. I thought it was a bit pricy when purchasing the tickets, but it was worth it. We spent about 2 hours, but you could spend even more time than that. The staging of the displays was amazing. I think it might become a regular part of our visits to New York.

The performance was absolutely outstanding, with incredible singing, dancing, and acting. The music is so catchy and I canât get it out of my head. A play that I highly recommend.

Fantastic and totally surprising it did not win more Tonyâs. Especially for Best Musical. Absolutely loved this even though we saw one understudy. Couldnât tell until the end of show she was very excited about nailing it. Acting, Singing, Costumes, Music so so Awesome!!!

This is a brilliant musical. We had so much fun, one of, if not the best musical weâve seen recently. An absolutely must see!

Run, don't walk, to this AWESOME museum. I admit that I have a tendency to rate our adventures high, but this museum was truly outstanding. It's an experience from the moment you begin--walking through the old theater steps, listening the the piped-in activity from a real show, reading all about the different areas of "backstage," is just the beginning... It's then that you drift off into the magical world of Broadway, learning about many, many shows, reviewing the timeline of Broadway from Vaudville to present day. There are scenes from plays everywhere and so many artifacts. You will have a wonderful time looking at old photos, admiring the headpieces, shoes, costumes, bags, props, everything! from so many shows. You can take photos of yourself kind of immersed in a scene. There's even a spot where you can dance on the "roof" with shadow images of characters from West Side Story. You definitely don't have to be a total theater buff to enjoy this incredibly museum. Even having seen a few shows myself on Broadway, I was enthralled. Please DO take note that there are several sets of stairs. There are also elevators, but to get the full experience, you really do want to use the stairs, if you can.

The show was great.
Nick Fradiani was excellent as Neil!
His voice is spot on!!!!!! Go see it especially if you are a ND fan.

I enjoyed my visit to the Museum of Broadway as it had some great exhibits from past and current broadway shows. The staff were excellent and knowledgeable. Allow at least two hours to get the most out of your visit

Great show. Very engaging. Performers were amazing. Costumes and set were all great. Glad we saw it. Would recommend to others to see it as well.

My husband and I had a great time. We had the opportunity to spend summer in the United States in 2023. As sports fans, we booked the tickets for the Yankees game. It became a fantastic experience for us.

Saw The Great Gatsby on Sunday at 3pm â Sarahâs final performance, and what a send-off it was. The energy, the costumes, the music⌠everything was pure 1920s magic. Sarah truly embodied Daisy with grace and depth. An unforgettable afternoon on Broadway. If you get the chance to see it, donât miss it!

If youâre looking for a Broadway show that offers BIG vocals, NYC energy, and a story that actually moves, Hellâs Kitchen is your sign to go. From the minute the lights came up, the show had this perfect mix of heart, humor, and classic Alicia Keys nostalgia. The cast? Insanely talented. The music? So many of us were singing in the audience! Whether youâre a musical lover, Alicia Keys fan, or just want a night out that leaves you smiling, this one is absolutely worth seeing. I left the theater in the best mood, and honestly, it feels like one of those shows everyone will be talking about this season.
Grab a ticket. You wonât regret it!

Fantastic play! The lead actor has an amazing voice! The sets were beautiful! Definitely go see this play! We saw it on July 28, so I am not sure of the name of the lead actor playing Gatsby that day, but he has a wonderful voice!

A visit to broadway is a must do while in New York. There are so many magical theatres to see and shows to enjoy that you need numerous visits to fully appreciate every aspect. Such an iconic part of this amazing city

I absolutely LOVED this broadway show! Iâm a big fan of Alicia Keys and it was amazing to see this show about her life. The performers all had incredible voices and the soundtrack was amazing!

What a wonderful performance! The vocals and choreography were incredible and really had you immersed in the story. Highly recommend

Unforgettable! Congratulations on your performance! Cara vcs were of too much! Super recommend!!!! The queue is big to get in but it is super organized and fast everyone come in, very nice!

Amazing, iconic and historic. You can think of all the famous faces that have been around this area throughout the times. Very busy, but nice nonetheless.

Iâve been dying to see Hellâs Kitchen on Broadway, and everyone was right the music is unreal, and Amanda Reid and Jessica Voskâs voices are next-level. I finally went last night and loved it so much I was listening to the cast recording at the gym this morning. My row was a mix of high school kids and an older couple from Ohio, and every single person was vibing. The showâs energy is so fresh and relatable that it honestly transcends age, everyone can find something to love. If youâre in NYC make the effort to see it!

Amazing show! Mesmerazing costumes and performances. Ryan McCartan is absolutely amazing. His voice gave me chills. The stage is great. Onlyndownside was that the theatre was extremely cold. I had a thick sweater and still was shivering. They should adjist the temperature. I go to shows every week so I know I need to bring some warm clothes but this theatre was just waaaay too cold

It was AMAZING!! Big, loud, sparkly, and very entertaining. Obviously, since itâs a Broadway show, I had no negatives on it and only positive feedback. I was of course sad but intrigued by the tragic ending and impressed overall by the presentation of the show.

There are many things to like about Hell's Kitchen. Alicia Keys' music is the key reason to see the show, and it is fun to see how the songs are reimagined for the musical. But I was also excited that Manhattan Plaza is so prominently featured. Iv'e known this building practically my whole life. The choreography and dancers were another highlight, as were the performances of Jessica Vosk and Christopher Jackson.

"The Outsiders" was on my friend & my priority list of shows to see while in Manhattan this past May 2025, even before it won the 2024 Tony Award for Best Musical. Both of us had read this book many times growing up, & the story is translated so well as a musical that it did not lose all of the touching, heartfelt points of the novel. With excellent vocals, great staging, set design, choreography & an excellent score, I highly recommend seeing this show even if you have never read the book. Excellent work!

What a great way to experience the history of Broadway. There is so much to see. Will definitely be going back to spend more time in the different sections. The exhibits range from information on the wall, to collages of pictures, and there are multiple interactive photo spots. Anyone who loves Broadway can get lost in wonder walking through the museum.

Fantastic performances, fun choreography, great cast.would highly recommend and will be seeing it again. Amazing experience.

My wife wanted to see Death Becomes while we are visiting NYC and visiting my family. I purchased the tickets through Broadway Direct where you can see where your seats are and discounted also. We try the 2 for 1 but it was sold out, you can do the RUSH which is getting discounted tickets in the morning but I found the discounted tickets which were great seats, front row mezzanine, my wife was very happy and excited with the afternoon show (2pm).

This wasnât on our list but Iâm so happy we got to visit. Even if you know so much about theatre already I feel like there is something that was surprise you here! Thereâs something for everyone here, fabulous visit

We really enjoyed this show! It was quite funny and engaging. The cast was excellent. I highly recommend giving it a chance!

This was a fabulous play and Audra McDonald as Rose is amazing. Great to hear all the original songs remade. The theater is comfortable and easy to find.

Just watched Hellâs Kitchen and WOW!! My gosh what a beautiful, heartfelt musical. The story was emotional, raw, and so real. Some of the songs literally gave me chills and had everyone in the audience locked in. The performances were powerful, the vocals were unbelievable, and the overall production was excellent from start to finish. đĽł

Very fun museum with many artifacts from current shows going back to shows in the 1900âs.The staff had some interesting facts about many of the items in the museum

Hell's Kitchen was the best show I've seen on Broadway! I was blow away with the talent of every actor...I want to give everyone a Tony! I loved how "New York" the show is and it's in almost the exact location where Alicia Keys grew up! Raw, emotional, funny, touching...this is a must see.

Incredible choreo, singing, and visuals! Reminiscent of the Gatsby youâve seen but still taking its own spin and flair.

Frankly itâs not great, I went because included in the pass but I regretted this activity. Nothing to see

The museum presents a sophisticated historical review if broadway theaters. The exhibits are arranged chronologically (from 4th floor down) begunning in 1732 but emphasis is on the last 100, and especially the last 30, years. Each era 's room shows posters, playbills, cast photos, and costumes of the hits if the era. But the meat s in the analytic commentaries on the plays, and the theater styles and personilites of the time. They are fairly lengthy and often critical - on the etetnal conflict of art and moiney, the social and political conext, an the drastic ups and down of the Times Squarr area. Inevitably there is a lot of focus on musicals - and the influence of broader musical cintext on the shows produced in for the Theater District.
The room honoring the theater generation taken by AIDS is deeply moving. (A portion of the proceeds ges to HIC/AIDS work)
The bottom floor departs from the historical, guving a detailed account if what it takes to get a work on the Broadway stage.
A few practical points. The museum is relatively small and very popular so do buy tickets in advance. It presumes a considerable interest in legitimate theater. The staff is extraordinarily helpful and welcoming. If stairs are an issue, just ask a red-shirted staffer and you will be escorted through doors marked "stagehands only" to elevators. Since the commentaries are the heart of the experience allow plenty of time - 2 hours at a minimum. You can check luggage. Theres a nice cafe next door with lots of table space - handy in an area with few places for a quick snack after several hours standing.

Should be called HEAVEN'S Kitchen because this show was truly transcendent. The leads chew up every single note - riffing to the gods and breathing new life into Alicia's iconic catalogue. I would watch Amanda Reid and Jessica Vosk sing the phone book, their chemistry and electric presence was the heartbeat to the show: which beautifully showcases the complex relationship between parents and their children. Though her stage time was a lot less, Tony-winner Kecia Lewis commanded the entire theatre every time she sat at the piano. Her deep performance will stay with me for a long time. They are supported by an incredible ensemble, touting some of the best choreo I've seen on Broadway in a while. Though some of their group moments can feel like musical theatre tropes and the overall book isn't the strongest, it's all balanced well by the show's energy and pace. Hell's Kitchen will give you everything you want in a night out at the theatre!

The show was amazing. Cast was great. Front of house staff was very nice and friendly. The dance numbers were impressive and the songs were mesmerising.

The theater is breathtaking. Mufasa greets you from the rear wall as you glide up the stairs. The moment you hear to opening song you are transported into the world of 1994 The Lion King. I donât care how old you are. I donât care what other Broadway shows youâve seen. This one for me was so beautifully crafted. I loved everything about it and I do mean everything. 10/10 will do again. đŠľ

Amazing! I loved the music and the actors were reeeally good! I also love the story and I like how it is in Broadway!! Absolutely fantastic, I would recommend it to everyone!

Really enjoyed the show. First Broadway Musical in 30 years. Two of my family members first Broadway musical as well. All enjoyed.

Wonderful experience!!! Reasonable pricing for souvenirs. Doors open for security check 30 min before showtime, but the line began forming 60 min before showtime. Excellent performance by the "new" cast that began in March 2025! Comfortable seats with good acoustics. Can't beat this show for vocals!
I bought our tickets straight from Gershwin Theater online prior to showday.

This is one breathtaking show that shouldnât be missed, either on Broadway or on the national tour thatâs coming up in 2026!

I was not sure about going here but in the end I loved it we spent about 2 hours in there so much to take in. Plus learnt so much... bit pricey to get in but it's NY what do you expect. But at the end I actually thought it was worth it and came out with a lot more knowledge about Broadway and its Theatres. Worth a visit if you love the theatre.

a rousing and inspiring show with stunning singing, just insane talent across the board. choreography was lovely. And I loved that the story focused so much on the mother/daughter relationship, a really refreshing take on a coming of age story!

A group of high school friends from the 70's-80's "tailgated" at a local couple's apartment before heading out to see a preview of the show at the St. James Theatre. Kristin Chenowith was an exceptional powerhouse, as she appears in almost every scene. The St. James Theatre was a really beautiful and intimate place to stage and see the show, and the set designers did a great job wedging the elaborate sets into the small available space. Hoping for a long run!

A great show, don't miss it!
Acting and music was fantastic.
It was an experience that will keep your attention; an evening of joy.

This was my second time seeing this show. It was exhilarating! The leading actors' performances blew me away. The chreography, sets, costumes, lighting, audio, ensemble performances were all thrilling. I am so glad I saw it again -- notably better than the first time. In particular, RYAN McCARTAN, AISHA JACKSON, MICHAEL MALIAKEL, AUSTIN COLBY all performed their characters so deliciously that I really felt the music and lyrics deeply. Wow!!

Super entertaining!
Absolutely must see show!
The singing, the choreography, the stage decorations were outstanding.

Absolutely brilliant funny uplifting I could go on and on and on don't miss it..
One of the best shows i 've seen for ages ..
Singing and ad libing from cadt was brilliant

Hellâs Kitchen was absolutely incredible. I loved how they wove some of Alicia Keysâ most iconic songs into the storyline; it felt fresh and powerful. The performances were phenomenal, especially the dynamic between the mother and daughter. If you go for nothing else, go to hear Jessica Vosk and Angela Birchett sing. Their voices were deeply moving. I literally had goosebumps. I would see it again just to hear them perform. 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting New York City or looking to experience Broadway for the first time. This one is truly a must-see.

This was a very fun show. Lots of hits packed into the show. Joey Fatone was the featured cast member when we went.
Interesting twist on Romeo and Juliet, well worth going.

This museum is not handicapped friendly and they did not tell us the truth when we bought tickets. First of all they do NOT have wheelchairs available to borrow, as do many museums, to use in visiting the museum. The museum is four stories high and one way from the fourth floor down. I asked if there were benches to rest on throughout the museum. I was assured there were many benches throughout the museum. This was not true and there was, at best, one bench on each floor. On one of the floors, the bench was broken. I was told that at each down staircase there would be an employee to take me to the elevator. This, again, was not true and required my spouse to track down someone to take us to the elevator. The elevators were not part of the museum and we went into back corridors to a general building elevator. When we found an employee we had to doubled back through the floor to get to an elevator. I would not recommend this to disabled folks! One other thing we noticed is the poor condition of displays of costumes. The costumes could be easily touched and were not in protective cases. The museum was generally run down and needed painting and cleaning throughout.

Wonderful wonderful show. We were blown away. Absolutely loved it. Pure entertainment and the time flew by. Would highly recommend.

I haven't seen a Broadway show this amazing in a long time! If you're looking for something to do in NYC this winter, or if you're visiting and want to experience a Broadway play, Hell's Kitchen is a MUST. The singing, dancing, acting, and overall storyline gave me the chills; it was that incredible. If you're an Alicia Keys fan, you'll adore this show. It brought me back to my teenage years. The show is also super fun to see with friends and family!

Took our four granddaughters to see wicked, ages 13-8, they loved it have not stopped talking about it, said it was better than the movie!

It was awesome totally worth going out so see my choir was given the amazing chance to see some actors the staff were efficient and new what they were doing and were very good at telling where our seats were

This show was incredible! It was my husbandâs first broadway show and he was at the edge of his seat. Makes you feel the magic of nyc.

A play that is essential to experience on Broadway, The Outsiders explores the conflict between teenage gangs, the Greasers and the Socials, set in Oklahoma.

Last night I went to see Hellâs Kitchen on Broadway with my husband Luca. We both performed on the Italian Broadway scene, so going to the theatre has always been a huge part of our lives, and honestly, itâs one of the reasons we moved to New York in the first place. Thereâs nothing like the energy of live performance here.
What I really loved about this show is that itâs not just a show about New York; IT IS New York. It captures the electricity, the energy, the soul of the city so beautifully that you feel like youâre standing right in the middle of it.
Alicia Keysâ biggest hits, blended with new versions created especially for the show, are incredibly powerful. We both loved how the arrangements transformed familiar songs into something different⌠so beautifully done!
The music, the message, the vibe: everything comes together in a way that feels emotional and inspiring. And by the finale, when Empire State of Mind filled the room, the entire audience exploded!!!
As someone who used to perform as a dancer, I have to say: the choreography was phenomenal. Clean, sharp, and so well executed. If Iâm being super picky, I would have loved a little more diversity in the styles, but thatâs just the dancer in me speaking. It was already spectacular.
The story itself could have gone deeper, and it doesnât need to. This is a show you go to feel. To let the music move you, to soak in the atmosphere, and to be reminded of everything that makes this city so special.
If youâre in New York (or planning a trip), go see Hellâs Kitchen!!! âŚwho doesnât want to hear New York by Alicia Keys live, surrounded by people who love this city as much as you do?

Excellent show , aesthetically gorgoeus. Music and singing , especially choreography was outstanding. I visited with teens and its something the entire family can watch.

This was one of my favorite shows. I go to Broadway shows often and this was amazing. I highly recommend this play to everyone.

I love theatre and Broadway defines the genre in so many ways. This museum celebrates Broadway in a variety of ways: historically, by play, by decade, by genre. Then it breaks down all the people and departments that create a play or musical. And then they break down the musical genre even more. When my friend and I went through I could hear people saying as they pointed at a photo ,âTgatcwas my first Broadway show I ever saw!â Or,âI was in this show in high school!â So many theater kids, and former theatre kids, like me, enjoying all the memories, all the talent all the juice and magic that goes into theatre. Broadway is Americaâs theatre and I loved digging into it. The price is a little high but New York is expensive and I felt it was worth it to support the museum. The lively and delightful people working there, yes, I am looking at YOU, Zuzu, enhance the experience. If she isnât an actress Iâd be shocked into silence! Please go! You will learn some new things and appreciate Broadway a little more!

What a great exhibit. Great at tracing the history of Broadway. It brought so many memories of Broadway shows I have seen, ones my parents loved, and how it came to be. Can't recommend enough.

OMG. This museum was way way better than I expected. The art installations were first class. Tons of info on the history of Broadway (both location and artistic genre). The artifacts were beautifully displayed. The museum staff were knowledgeable and obviously loved theatre. Highly recommend. If youâre a theatre nut, plan for at minimum 90 minutes. Or more. The gift shop was also fab and prices were the same as the merch stands at the theatres (without the crushing crowds).

Theatre is beautiful. Outsiders was boring. People say they loved it caus' they paid too much money to see it! The play only has one background. The rain and blood fight has been overhyped. Oh, and only one guy takes his shirt off. In case that's why you wanted to go... đ

Just saw Hell's Kitchen on Broadway, and I really enjoyed it. đś Inspired by Alicia Keysâ incredible life and music, this show is a love letter to her journey growing up in Hellâs Kitchen. As a Keys fan, I was interested in knowing more about her and growing up in nY. The music had me and my friend Deborah singing along and the choreography was phenomenal. The entire cast is very talented.
Beyond the amazing performances, Aliciaâs story is very uplifting, showing how talent, determination, and resilience can take you really far. If you are an Alicia Keys fan or love good music you will totally enjoy Hell's Kitchenâ¨Worth it!

We purchased the tickets the day before via the Todaytix app. They were discounted to $55 each.
Our seats were in row so, the back row by the aisle.
We could see the whole stage for most of the performance except for the odd time where we had an obstructed view (people's heads) but nothing that spoiled the show.
The show was colourful and funny. The. singing & music was amazing. Loved Audrey 2!

The dialogue was long and often not very entertaining. The choreography was simplistic and not always well executed. In addition, the theatre was absolutely FREEZING cold - almost absurd. And, definitely did not need the woke twist of the two male characters. Unfortunately, the show was no where near worth the price of the ticket.

This is a truly broadway worthy piece of art on stage. Some magical special effects play out along with some time travel story âŚthat was sort of ok to follow but you kinda just had to roll with it. One special effect had us mesmerized even after we left. My complaints : the - ahem - dandy interplay with Harry and his hug buddy + the casting of hermione . Cmon . Another bad point : concession prices. Whoa !
Another good point. Theatre was prepped with high tech fun interplay with mobile phones.

It was amazing! Choreography was specific and contrasting and kept me so engaged. I saw Jeremy Jordan and Eva and they were outstanding!

The music, and dancing was great. The set was beautiful and the styling was really cool. It was clearly a period piece. The writing was a little elementary and on the nose. Some pieces of the story didnât connect and it seemed that we were just rushing to the next song. Some songs seen to not match the mood of the previous scene and make you say âwait how did we get here?â- however each song and its interpolation for this musical was great. The actors are phenomenal and extremely talented.

This was at the Lunt-Fontanne Theater. Its really a beautiful theater, and we sat in the first row of the Mezzanine. The view was great. The show was campy, and absolutely hilarious. The costumes were gorgeous and we could not believe how many costume changes they did. The stunt doubles were great with the fall down the stairs and when the head flies off the body. The jokes were good, and the story was great as well. The lighting was very cool and the sets were spectacular. When we were there, we saw the understudy's for Madeline and Helen, and they were INCREDIBLE!!!! The singing and voice control were perfection! Michelle Williams is defintely aging in reverse, and her character Viola was equally great. I absolutely love this show and would see it again and again. I have never laughed so hard and so much at a show. I can't stop thinking about it!

Just Brilliant fun!! Simply awesome production, staging, acting and singing. If you love the film you must GO!!! We Highly recommend.

Seriously underwhelming performances that literally put me to sleep. The lead actor talks so softly it is hard to make out what he is saying. There is zero creativity in this show and some of the song sequences are blended so you only get a few minutes of each song. No wow factor no stand out performances the whole thing felt super bland. Serious waste of money and time.

show was AMAZING. I wasn't sure what to expect but my mind was blown, even though i knew the story i wasn't bored for a second. Hats off to all the cast and crew, amazing job <3

Hell's Kitchen not only was by far one of the best shows ive seen but also extremely interesting and informative. Often times no one will know the life of how others grew up and just never really understand everyone's perspectives until you really get to meet them and speak about their life stories. The music, the conversations, the whole show was stunning. From being a young girl I always grew up listening to Alicia Keys on car rides, at family get together or even just at home. Forever being a huge fan of her the moment I heard about her show I knew I needed to come see it.
Being able to experience this opportunity of such an unforgettable night is something I will always be grateful for.

I have to be honest though and thought going into the show that it would just be another jukebox musical. I did not have high hopes going into it just from just what Iâve heard about the shows book just being okay. I thought it would affect the whole show but coming out of it at the end I was surprisingly wrong.
My friend and I had such a blast at Hells Kitchen on Broadway. Again, the talent in the show was absolutely incredible and blew my mind. Almost everyone in the cast was a phenomenal singer and moved you to the point that it made the some-what clichĂŠ story better. And also let me just say that half of the cast were all understudies the night we saw it. Totally blown away from ALL the talent!
That should be your number one take away from the show. Also, I just have to add that I really enjoyed the set design! I thought they did it so well with the projections and led screens and really created a space that felt like the chaos of New York City and living in it. While also making it feel like you were at an Alicia Keys concert! Overall, if you wanna have a fun night, seeing some incredibly talented people, I highly suggest going to see Hells Kitchen! Youâre gonna wanna bop in your seat to all the music! Trust me I was bopping so hard! Enjoy the show!

I took my daughter to see Alicia Keysâ Hellâs Kitchen and honestly didnât know what to expectâbut wow, it blew me away! The show was full of heart, humor, and soul. Every performer brought something special, but the actress playing the mother completely stole the showâher voice gave me chills. I laughed, I cried, and on the train ride home, I couldnât stop listening to Alicia Keys. Such an unforgettable night!

Incredible performance by the whole cast! The music was fun & great adaptations from Alicia Keys original music to tell a story. As a NYer, I appreciated the details in costumes as well as set design. Shout out to the bartenders for the quickest bar line on broadway. Hell's Kitchen is a must see & I'll be back to see it again.

This show was a blast and a great love letter to NYC. Whether you're a huge Alicia Keys fan or only recognize a few of her hits - her story is intriguing and personal. Performances from Chris Jackson and Jessica Vosk were, unsurprisingly, stellar. It was great to hear so many familiar voices paired with familiar hits. The ensemble is strong and heavily involved in the show, which I always appreciate. Highly recommend bringing friends or family to this show, as the themes are super relatable!

I absolutely loved Hellâs Kitchen! Having grown up in Manhattan Plaza, this story hit especially close to home, the setting, the energy, the music m it all felt so true to the pulse of New York and the spirit of the community that raised me. Kecia Lewis was astoundingly great , she was so moving and gave it her all. Jessica Vosk brings powerhouse vocals and raw emotion to every moment sheâs onstage, and Christopher Jackson radiates warmth and soul. The entire cast is phenomenal, each performer bringing authenticity and fire to Alicia Keysâ music, which soars live in a way that only Broadway can deliver.
Visually stunning, emotionally charged, and filled with heart, Hellâs Kitchen captures the journey of finding yourself, your art, and your purpose right in the middle of the city that never stops moving. I left the theater deeply moved â proud, nostalgic, and grateful for a show that feels like home.

This is one of my favorite books and movie, so I was thrilled to see it on Broadway. Especially since this was my first trip to New York. The sets & costumes were beautiful, I was transported to the Roaring 20's. Everyone was fantastic but Ryan McCartan & Sarah Hyland's vocals have my 18 year old daughter goosebumps, and created a new Gatsby fan. I hope it comes to the west coast eventually so I can see it again.

Kristin C was out of this world as were most of the cast members. Wonderful costuming, sets and music. Loved it all. Well worth it!

Alicia Keysâ Hellâs Kitchen on Broadway is a heartfelt coming-of-age musical inspired by her own New York story â set to her iconic songs and filled with soul, passion, and the cityâs unstoppable energy.
A great, authentic show â a true love letter to New York. Beautifully told through Broadway, with an incredibly talented cast and moving performances. Highly recommended for New Yorkers and Broadway lovers alike.

We. went to see The Great Gatsby at The Broadway theater. The theater is a nice size with gorgeous chandeliers and very clean interior. My review addresses the USHERS at the theater. I get restless in a dark close environment and I addressed my concern to the ushers as I entered. All three were very reassuring and one usher escorted us up to the mezzanine and explained to another there the problem. In no time flat they put two chairs at the very top where We could easily stand without bothering anyone. There is not a bad seat in the entire theater. We could easily see and had no problem hearing. The theater is having trouble with their miking system. There was no doubt of the talent of the singers and the dance ensemble routines. Costumes and set were very smooth and attractive. No songs you could really grab onto, but not the fault of the cast.

The music is fun and the cast is great especially the lad actress. The theatre is beautiful and the stage has great sets. I just found the story to be a little lackluster.

Hell's Kitchen was phenomenal!! We could not decide who had the best singing voice or the greatest dance moves! Everyone was so profoundly talented! It is a MUST see!!

What a great show. Megan Hilty is outstanding and deserves a Tony. The cast was great. It was funny, Tje costumes were amazing. Great play

Hellâs Kitchen brings so much energy to the Broadway stage! The story itself feels real and just raw. The choreography and vocals are awesome. Many of my favorite Alicia Keyâs songs were featured, along with new songs that are now becoming some of my faves! Itâs perfect for all ages and definitely a must see.

This museum was intentional in design and did not leave out any details! You being with a 3 minute introduction movie about Broadway that sets the stage for the visit! You can download the museumâs app to supplement the wealth of information, artistically displayed throughout the museum. My jaw dropped throughout my visit - seeing costumes, original scores, personal letters, reflecting on plays Iâve seen was a true personal experience! The museum recognizes all aspects of theatre - writing, design, music, Broadway legends, backstage, production - and they have employees stationed throughout the museum that provide even more detailed information and âbehind the scenesâ knowledge! Whether youâre a Broadway/theatre aficionado or havenât experience theatre before - the Museum of Broadway is truly a gem in NYC that you donât want to miss!
Absolutely brilliant. Every moment was so entertaining. The seamless changing of the sets between scenes was truly commendable. I could watch it again.
Snacks and drinks are available during the interval. Yes the prices are steep. The queues for the restrooms are really long so they definitely should have more. The theatre was way too cold. Heard a lot of v people complain about the temperature.
