9 of 119 Best Attractions in Myrtle Beach

Wife and I visited Myrtle Beach in December. It was a great memory for us since we dated there before we got married. Stayed in N. Myrtle Beach but visited Boardwalk a couple of times to eat and walked around the huge park at night. Many stores were closed but it’s worth going just to see all the Christmas lights. Highly recommend.

One of our favorite places to walk around and due rando stuff. We have been here a couple of times and we like the window shopping. Later in the afternoon into evening there are the rides. I sort of wish the Wax Museum was not across the street but it's cool visit on the way out or way into Broadway entrances. This time around we went to the Theater and watched the Zero Gravity show, it was pretty nice. The aquarium is also nice, little small compared to some others.

It was Beautiful! And the weather was great! No humidity at all! I noticed if there is a line of people waiting for an activity.... Just wait because it moves pretty fast. Except for the lines at the restaurants ... guaranteed to wait over an hour. Other than that it was great!

We went here a couple times while at Myrtle beach. Once to walk around to all the shops Many different selections but a little pricey as to be expected Second time went to Paula Deen’s family Kitchen Which was amazing.

Once again a visit Myrtle Beach for us, meant an afternoon enjoying the pleasures of this complex.
Being a holiday weekend, with unseasonably warm weather; this was the busiest we've experienced Broadway at the Beach in February. It wasn't overwhelming, but it certainly had more of a traffic flow (which was kind of interesting to watch while sharing ice-cream, sitting outside of Kilwins).
B at the B is kind of a condensed version of the Myrtle Beach area overall; plenty of shops to explore, restaurants to satisfy cravings, attractions to amuse & enjoy, and areas to wander...ranging from touristy to upscale, kitschy to quality, reasonable to pricey, unique to mundane and engaging to silly.
We enjoy the off-season; when crowds are low, staff are unharried and welcoming, lines are undaunting, urchins are contained, and humidity/perspiration is low.
Regardless the time of year, however; this area is well worth a visit.

A lot of walking too much to see. Recommend good walking shoes. Margaretta ville food is terrible. My daughter likes the rides. The cariture guy drawed me but overpriced. Mirror maze is annoying as it gets hot and frightenning.

We went here multiple times during our week in Myrtle Beach. There are so many stores, we didnt even have time to look in all the shops we wanted to. There were alot of restaurants too, we ate somewhere different each visit.
We went here for July 4th to watch the fire works, they were pretty good and even though it was crowded it was still easy to find a spot to watch the fireworks from. The parking lot gets busy and it took a while to get out after the fireworks but we expected that. We went to the hangout and it was so fun. I love that the kids are welcome there all night. We had to drag them out.

I really enjoyed Broadway at the beach. Everything is al right there, Great rides, plenty of good restaurants, nice shops and kiosk stands, shows , Zipline, paddle boats. You name it it's there. I would definitely return. I had more fun here than the boardwalk and the boulevard.

Lots of shows, shops, and restaurants. I liked the layout. Make sure you get the map! A very nice variety of shopping venues. If you stay at the Hampton Inn, you are in the middle of everything.

The atmosphere was Wonderful. The only thing they need to change is the cost of each ride in the fair area.

The array of shops was magnificent from clothiers to specialty food. Some stores were closed for the. Christmas holidays but many remained open for business. The boat 🚤 ride was unique providing excitement for the crowd. Prices were typical for a tourist attraction. Parking was easy for handicapped people.

Broadway at the Beach should be visited but don't get sucked into the hype. It is basically a giant shopping center with high priced souvenir shops and a ton of chain restaurants. There are amusement park rides and some adventure rides like speed boats and zip lines. But hold onto your wallet. These activities are EXPENSIVE. If you have seafood allergies, it is sometimes tough to find a menu to accommodate.

Please clean up the filth. This place used to be nice and it can be again. In July 2021 it was so dirty, I was disgusted. There were burned out sections and everywhere there was grimy slime on the sidewalks... it was everywhere... much of it is now run down... there are still some nice stores and restaurants, but it is not worth wading though the disgusting walkways to get to them. I was heartbroken to see the degradation of a place that was wonderful to visit a few years ago. Please make it nice again.

Whoever said this place has a Disney Springs vibe is a few cherries short of a fruitcake.
Dingy dark and reeks of skunk weed. Most of the stores are just gimmicky tourist traps ran by foreigners. The knockoff Disney store had Mexican music blaring and not the soundtrack to Coco just mariachi mood music for eating tacos from a shady roach coach at a construction site soundtrack.
Had the usual hot sauce and beef jerky outlets that folks who their neighbors say “he’s a nice un’ “ like to frequent while waiting on their air brushed couples t shirts that say “Billy Mac and Lurlene 4ever”
Save your money and your sanity and go elsewhere.

Spend all at the beach then go Broadway for dinner dessert and shopping. Even carnival rides. Something for everybody. Cool variety of restaurants. Shops and plenty stuff to do.

First time Visit. We were there for Christmas Tree Lighting and Fire Works Display. All in all a very entertaining area. Many stores and shops as well as many choices for Food and dining. Rides, Castles, Boat Trips and feeding areas for fish and birds. Take a few hours to walk around than relax at a restaurant.

Love this place. So many different shops to check out and food was amazing. Lots of attractions for kids and things to do. If you have a little one, please take a stroller as it is a LOT of walking. Beautiful place.

Go to their website and you'll know what to expect. Yes, it's a tourist trap. Yes, it's gimmicky. Yes, everything is expensive. As long as you're not expecting anything different, you should have a good time. We had a good time walking around and looking at everything. Bought a few things. There were a few unique stores here that were interesting to visit.

Plenty of stores open, masks required inside stores, but not outside walking around. We ate outside, shopped a few stores, and had ice cream at the one Ben & Jerry's that was open.
Some stores closed for the season and others out of business. It looks like some construction and development taking place. Movie theater is shut down and empty.

We liked the array of stores at Broadway on the Beach, we especially liked Christmas at the Brach. You can find just about any type of Christmas ornament at this store, and many items can be personalized. Quite a few are made of sea shells and make a nice memento of being in Myrtle Beach. I appreciated that most were quality pieces worth keeping.

Outdoor mall area on steroids! Not on the beach (which surprised us.) Plenty of parking. This would be a great area to visit on rainy days. Lot of activities in one area.

Highly recommend the Ferris wheel, but first stop and get a coupon bill at the visitor’s center. We walked the whole circle in about 1.5 hours. It felt safe, was clean, and had restrooms. There is a good mix of attractions, stores, and restaurants. It has the feel of Main Street Disney or Universal Studios as you walk through.

I know that they have more stuff planned. But tearing down the movie theater and the mini golf area really makes this place look run down. Hopefully when I return again that will all be re-done and it will look great again.

Overpriced rides, food, and garbage souvenirs. Tourist trap! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Best to stick with the ocean and specific attractions and restaurants outside of here.

We enjoyed our visit to broadway at the beach. The best part was the escape room and we tried the Atlantis (needs reservation). We didn’t see broadway show but enjoyed the walk, shopping, feeding the fish, etc.

We have always enjoyed Broadway at the beach with its Variety of restaurants and shops the entire area where the theater was and some smaller general rides has been totally closed off and tore down there in the process of rebuilding that with two new areas there was a pretty good crowd when we were there in the other areas there are a few more empty shops and there was the previous time we were there which is unfortunate but again sign of the current times hopefully it’ll level out then they will be able to backfill them. Will visit it again on our next trip

Huge complex with many little shops and places to grab meals or quick snacks. Lots of walking required, probably best to do in the evening when it's not so hot. Many different areas and parking lots can be confusing. Mini golf area is 30 per person. Many other mini golf places in the area are way nicer and lots cheaper. Ate at the Carolina Smokehouse, which was not great even though we just had appetizers.
This place is not to be confused with the Boardwalk, which is right down on the ocean.

Decided to have a late lunch and checkout a few shops. Definitely off season. Some shops closed and no off season sales. Very few people and not much to do. Definitely a warmer weather event.

April 2021
I haven't been to Broadway at the Beach in about 10 years, and it has changed quite a bit since my last visit. The biggest difference I noted this time around was the rowdiness of numerous groups walking around, and this was in the middle of the day on a Saturday, so it wasn't even evening yet. It was also not as clean as it was years ago, there were numerous trash bins overflowing and spilled drinks and debris on the ground. I still recommend coming here, there are so many places to shop and eat, but I would be more vigilante for troublemakers and thieves when it's crowded or in the evening. If that offends you, then sorry, but I just call it like it is. For a restaurant, I highly recommend Paula Deen's, and I was warned it's a tourist trap but I found the food to be outstanding and reasonably priced. And once all the construction is completed here, I'm sure things will be better, if they clean up the grounds more and monitor the hooligans.

LStrol around and don’t spend a dime or enjoy shopping in one of the many stores. Either way a fun atmosphere and location!!

We really enjoyed Broadway and all it offered. We visited 3 times while we were there. We did find that many things were way overpriced. For example, popcorn was 15 dollars. Overall, it was a great experience, but pricy.

Very touristy... not a big fan of our time there. Free parking, lots of stores, but nothing was that impressive. We ate at Margaritaville. The food was good, but overpriced. Didn't have any reason to come back during our stay.

Fun place to visit and lots to see and do. Few places were closed because of covid but am sure once reopened will be great to explore. Rides were great too.

We spent the day here as a family and it was so much fun! Our kids ages are 6,6,9, and 11. Perfect amount of rides for everyone. We got there right at 11 and there were no lines. The staff were all very cordial and professional, which I appreciated. CLEAN restrooms! Highly recommend for some classic, family fun.

Broadway at the beach is a premier go-to destination while in the Myrtle beach area. My wife and I attended one of the featured shows, Hot Jersey nights Christmas Special and I can’t say enough about it. The best tribute show I have ever seen! The four gentlemen who paid tribute to Frankie Valli and the four Seasons were better than excellent. When Brian sang “Halleluia” I almost cried, it was so good. They have since moved on to another venue so if you ever get a chance to see them somewhere else, do it. You won’t be sorry you did.

ALWAYS have to go here on our annual visit to MB. We love to stroll around, even in the "off season" and with COVID in 2020, we enjoyed it. plenty of stores open for browsing and we were able to give some business to several places.

Great attraction amazing views loved it ! Well worth the visit . The place is so close to DC so make this a stopover if you are all in the area!

Love all the shoppes and eateries. Best time to go is around 3pm to find parking and be able to eat at larger restaurants without a wait.

Yet again, we spent a pleasant afternoon; strolling about and exploring this conglomerate of shops, eateries and activities.
We continue to enjoy mid-week, off-season; when the crowds are minimal, the staff unharried and it all feels leisurely.
Enjoying a waffle sundae, sitting outside of Kilwins & watching the passers-by; is a wonderful retirement indulgence.
B at the B is a compact version of the whole Myrtle Beach experience. It's touristy, kitschy and over-priced; but also engaging, carefree and just plain fun.
There's no profound meaning or hidden agenda here; it's just a place to have some pleasurable times with family and friends.

Even on a chilly afternoon, exploring this area was a pleasant experience.
There are numerous interesting shops to explore (Xmas at the Beach, Jester's Jewels, The Mole Hole, etc.); and a wonderful assortment of eateries (King Kong Sushi, Paula Dean's, Melt, etc.) & other treat options (Kilwin's, Ben & Jerry's, etc.) from which to choose.
Additionally, one finds entertainment and other activities (much more available in warmer weather) to engage one's time.
(Though certainly different, the whole complex has a bit of a Orlando Disney Springs vibe.)
Whether for several hours, or a couple of days; when visiting Myrtle Beach, this should be included on one's "to do" list.

Look, I know it's Myrtle Beach, I know. But I was really hoping this place would have a good variety of shops/restaurants/etc kind of like a Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg area. While they do have some, a lot of them sell the same tired merchandise: cheap 3D printed toys, Labubus, and Funko Pops. We did end up finding some unique merch for our godchildren at the anime store so I don't want to make it sound like they had absolutely nothing. Overall, it was just okay.

this area was fine if you had kids or wanted to walk around with a large group of friends or family. Seemed a bit run down during the daylight but inside was fine.

They did not tell us that we were going a second time so I unbuckled my seatbelt, thinking that it was over and then they did it again eventually down the lift I buckle my seatbelt. Thankfully, I was OK.

nice and quiet during the winter. We loved the new colorful buildings. Our favorite store is Southern Living!

This is a great place to cover a lot of ground. Be sure to get a map of the park if you want to go certain places and save yourself tons of walking.
There are numerous rides, loads of shopping, and restaurants. We had my 80 yr old Mom with us, so we rented a wheelchair at the entrance for the day for $15. There's lots of walking, so wear good shoes. We bought fish food ($5/cup) and fed the fish and ducks in the lake. Rode the jet boat, it was great and you don't get wet hardly at all. Take a little cash or bring your card with you to tip the boat driver when you leave.

Very nice place to hang out and walk around today. Had a good time and lots of interesting shops at broadway. Stop every time

It's a waste of time going on the shoulder seasons. Everything closes at 8:00, amusement rides have the lights on but do not run. Prices of virtually everything are outrageous, even for the tourist trap it is. Many of the store employees are incredibly annoying and very scripted. I know it's hard to get good help these days and it's obvious at most of the places there. We went 5 times hoping it would be better than the previous times but never felt anything other than, disappointed. The only reason we went 5 times is we were staying a 5-minute drive away. If you have 4-14 year old kids that have never gone to a great venue, they might be impressed. Otherwise, drive to the ocean to the real boardwalk! We had a blast at the Ocean side attractions.

Lighting of the Christmas Tree event was lots of fun. Best fireworks show ever!
Great place for everyone of all ages! We had 5 yo and 10 yo and they loved the playground and the fireworks

We visited a couple times during our week staying nearby. The family liked the Mirror Maze and shopping was fun. Many restaurants (mostly big chains) and shops throughout.

Disappointed in the lack of shops and restaurants this year. Parking was horrendous and everywhere had a 2+ hour wait to eat.

We went to shop, not to visit an attraction or dine. So we went when they opened. Parking was a breeze and it wasn't crowded.
We got great fudge at The Fudgery.
The Ron Jon Surf Shop is a favorite of ours, but they were very low on stock due to "supply chain shortages" so that was really disappointing. When I asked an employee if they were having the same issues at their Barefoot Landing location, she was short with me and couldn't care less.
We like to visit the 80's themed Retro store. There's always a few giggles in there.
We did notice one of their larger anchor restaurants in the the middle of everything is closed down and something of an eyesore. Hopefully, something goes in there soon.
Upon exiting, the too-small restrooms were crowded and smelled awful. The parking lot was filling up, and the line for the aquarium was LONG. Though we didn't go in the aquarium this visit, it's small but nice.

I went last week, 50% of the stores are closed...no carnival....but to be fair Margaretville was EPIC! So if you're going there to have a cheeseburger in paradise...you will be very happy! FYI: It is not safe for little kids to just walk around as pieces of the old dock are everywhere and it is very run down.

We have been out to Broadway atvthe beach a few times and enjoyed each trip. There is lots to do with family and friends. We enjoyed dinner at Pop Stroke. The food was very good and the atmosphere was lively, our grandson really enjoyed himself. We will definitely, recommend it to friends

It's not what I remember form a few years ago. The railing isn't safe and boardwalk is dry rotted. Not the same place!

Fun, great place with many activities for all ages. Have variety of shops to check out. Can spend hours there. The speed boat was fun!

Wow! This place is a must go to. Lots restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. Family friendly. Zip line, paragliding, Skido rental, golf cart rental, beach activities. So much fun!

Love love love it!!! Perfect for date night, lively night atmosphere, or family dinners, shopping, quality time together. Perfect for any age, not over priced!

Despite the fact the name is misleading (“at the beach” is a stretch as the beach is a solid mile away am nowhere in sight) the place is super fun. Outdoor mall surrounding a lake with lots of variety.
We sampled some of the treat shops, shopped and did the mirror maze.
Lots of fun and plenty of things we didn’t get to. Definitely would go again.

There is literally something to do for everyone. We spent the entire afternoon here, snacked, drank, relaxed, played and had dinner without having to leave the area. Definitely a must do if you are going to visit Myrtle Beach.

There's so much to do- shops, and activities indoor and outdoor. You can spend a lot of money here (or not). It's a great place to walk around on a nice day. The kids wanted to do everything though which can definitely add up. We loved WonderWorks and spent several hours inside enjoying the interactive activities.

What happened?? My wife and I went here a few years ago and this place was hoppin and had a lot of different things. That is still sort of the case however a lot of what we loved before is gone. Our two favorite restarants are gone, the putt putt course that was unique because it had holes on the water, gone. Yes there are new things which is cool but it just wanted to same without some of our favorites

Great area to visit when in myrtle beach area. Great for shopping and restaurants. Lots of walking but tons of attractions for families

The skywheel was a nice ride. Gentle, not too fast and amazing views of the ocean and the sunset over Myrtle Beach. We really didn't feel like we were going too high.

We visited the toy store called Toy Island. They had Rolife DIY miniatures in stock, which I've only ever been able to find online, and here they were at least $10 cheaper!

Bit of a disappointment.
Quite underwhelming.
Teens were not really into it - could have been the time of year maybe ????

Really, truly enjoyed this unique, super cool, unusual and very large selectioned area. Well kept with tons of parking, tho some of the main boardwalk under repair, by Margaritaville area mainly. Ate there and loved it, great music with great fish, coconut shrimp, and of course a coconut margarita as the cute ambiance calls out for one as Jimmy Buffett plays. Had a great mix of entertainment, fine dining to casual, vast array of shopping, well designed boardwalks that led to so many different types of interests/avenues, including an Aquarium, fast boat rides/helicopter rides and on to an amusement park as the finale! High price for ride wrist bands at 38USD but worth it as so many different rides over the large area, like being at a real amusement park, minus a roller coaster. Needs mire public restrooms my only complaint and most sanitizing stations empty, otherwise would have given 4.5 stars. Will def go again.

First Big Wheel and it did not disappoint. The cars are air conditioned and with comfortable seats. You get to see the length of the beach. They stop you at the top a couple of times ,so you get to look at the whole area. Awesome!!!!!

This is a delightful tourist spot with just about everything one would hope to find while vacationing. Several affordable and quality hotels surround the property within easy walking distance for convenience. But the center provides ample well-lit and safe parking. Amusements abound with Dave & Busters, Charles Bach's Wonders Theater, Legends concert venue, the always fun WonderWorks, Ripley's Aquarium, Hollywood Wax Museum, thrilling jet boat rides, and carnival rides. Excellent restaurants including Melts, American Tap House, Hard Rock Cafe, Buffet's Margaritaville, Paula Dean's Family Kitchen, and many others. Add in the quaint artist, specialty, and treat shops and you have everything you need for a full day (or more) of entertainment. This was a fun and leisurely visit.

Great place to visit with a lot of shops, restaurants and attractions such was aquarium, Wonderworks, 4D Simpson, feeding fish and more. I would definitely recommend this place as a one-stop shop for food and fun

Skip the boardwalk and go here. It’s safer, there is free and pricey entertainment venues, all the food and treats your heart desires minus the shady folks near the boardwalk

Bring lots of money to spend on overpriced tourist stuff. You can buy anything from fudge to tee shirts, to magic kits, candy and toys. Taking the kids there will cost you, and that is not counting the rides. The walk around the water is nice. Salespeople at Paula Dean's are a little too pushy. We went to the show to see Jersey Boys presentation. Saw the original show on Broadway in NYC and my wife liked this one more. Perhaps it is due to sitting so close to performers. Really no bad seats in the theater. You are up close to the action.

Really enjoyable experience. Lots to see . Shopping activities and variety of places to dine . Wonder Works was truly unique with things to interest children and adults. The hangout offered a family lunch venue with entertainment. Top it off with a visit to the Aquarium. A full and enjoyable day.

Good, fun, late-evening visit. The shops were still open. Lots to do. One could spend a few days here. We'll plan for more time next visit.

We always enjoy our day/evening here each time we come to Myrtle Beach!! The grandsons love the rides and zip line and parents love the shopping and food and grandparents love the nostalgia of seeing the old rides and mirrors. So glad they are still in use! The 2 excessive thrill rides here …. 2 teen grandsons kept going back and forth!! Wonderful place to spend a full day/evening!!

Options abound here for entertainment, shopping and eating. Lots of everything and all set in a beautiful lakeside area with bridges, boardwalks and seating. It was a fun place to kick around for an afternoon. Granted it is on reduced service due to Covid, but still a great way to spend time.

A wonderful shopping center, with a lot of shops, unique places and great places to eat. It has rides to have fun on and enjoy. Make sure you take your time, there is so much to see and do here. We went to see the the live music show. Anthems Rock, at the Broadway theater, and it was excellent. I highly recommend it, before it is gone. Fun was had by all, and when we are back in this area, we will surely be back.

Great place! Loved going here, lots of unique shops as well as snack places. We didn't do any of the restaurants but there were plenty. Family friendly as well.

Lots of shopping, great restaurants and lots of activities for everyone in your family. We also enjoy just walking the loop and sightseeing.

We wanted to walk around and then eat somewhere and this was the perfect location. Parking is on sight and free with handicapped spots available. We went late afternoon and walked around and enjoyed some shopping then at some seafood and finished the loop around dusk. Temperature was fantastic but I did note that if you were to do this same thing during the high sun time there is little to no shade to enjoy. There were plenty of activities to spend your money on if you had children - rides, games, and treats. It was also a great people watching activity.

Entertaining Place to Walk, Dinner, Shopping or Just to Listen to Good Music Outdoors. An ideal place to go as a family, alone or with a group of friends. There are live outdoor music, shops and many restaurants to choose from. You can go for a while or for several hours, highly recommended.

My wife and I along with our daughter and granddaughter all headed down to Myrtle Beach and Broadway At The Beach to spend the day shopping, enjoying the "kiddie" rides for our granddaughter and having a Father's Day/Daughter's Birthday celebration....
And a great day it was. We went to Pavilion Park first to let our 3 1/2 year old granddaughter enjoy the rides she picked out...Then we went to the American Tap House for lunch ( and it was real good ), then shopping and off to Build a Bear for our granddaughter...She had a great time picking out a Unicorn and our daughter picked out a Fuzzy Bear and they named them "Sparkles' and "Glitter"....
All four of us enjoyed Broadway At the Beach and I am sure we will visit there again soon....

Always something to buy for all ages. Unfortunately somethings weren’t open due to labor issues. They try their best to make due.

Broadway at the Beach was a great way to spend an afternoon. We stopped for a meal at Margaritaville Grille, where the burger was big and juicy and the fries were hot and crispy. The atmosphere was upbeat and fun without being too loud or crowded.
Afterward, we wandered around and found Sweet Molly’s Creamery. Phil got a chocolate mix waffle cone and it hit the spot.
Ripley’s Aquarium is fantastic. The place is clean, easy to walk through, and the exhibits are well done. The main attraction is the tunnel where you walk beneath the shark tank. It is full of giant rays, sea turtles, and sand tiger sharks that glide right over your head. It is great for families but also interesting enough for adults visiting on their own. Definitely worth the ticket.
We ended the day with a walk along the boardwalk and watched folks enjoy the amusement park rides. The view of the water from the boardwalk was beautiful, and the whole area had a relaxed and welcoming feel.

Great time fun for all. This had a little fun for each age group. Weather is is shopping, dinner, just a nice stroll or amusement it is an all in one. ONE STOP FUN

Shops shops shops and restaraunts galore. This place is giant with all kinds of attractions and things to do and see. Ripley aquarium and just about anything to eat you can think of. Great family place to go for a half day or all day. Clean and well kept and a really nice boardwalk feel. Go check it out!

Broadway at the beach is a must visit if you have the opportunity. There is something for everyone here, even the kids. During my week visit in Myrtle Beach I must have visited here at least 3 times. Great stores and attractions make this an all day adventure. You can shop, eat, play and just have an overall great day. I would absolutely recommend stopping by at least for one day if you have the chance.

it has something for all...my grand loved the pavilion. my wife loved the shops and my adult kids loved the beach runner speed boat ride.

Broadway is always a fun place to visit on our trips. Tons of shops, fun restaurants, and the new Illumination art exhibit is really pretty. It can get very hot during the day as you are walking around on concrete.

Broadway at the beach is like an outdoor mall on steroids. Lots of great unique stores and lots of entertainment, some of it free. A good walk too. We went twice, once at night and once in the day. We saw the Adrenaline show at night. We also ate at Margaritaville. During the day we took a ride on the observation wheel, had an ice cream shake at Ben and Jerry's, got a cookie at 5 o'clock cookie, got wine slushy, fed the fish and ducks and did a little shopping. The shops are all air conditioned which is an incentive to get you to go in and browse when it is hot out. Don't miss this one on your trip to Myrtle Beach.

Lots of shops, dining, and you can feed the fish while you are there. Also, the Aquarium for your little ones.

We had first gone to Broadway at the Beach about 20 years ago and had continued to go for a few years until we moved back up north. It was so nice back then. It has definitely changed during all these past years. We just returned for a visit and we were so disappointed. It no longer has the feel of a clean, pleasant, safe shopping/dining area. It felt dirty and way over crowded. It truly had the feel of Wildwood, NJ or the Santa Monica Pier, CA. If those are your types of places, then BB is for you. It was also very disappointing to see Key West Grill and Liberty Restaurant no longer in operation here. These were our go to restaurants. The area feels so run down and cheap. Definitely will not be returning to Broadway at the Beach.

We visited twice during our stay in Myrtke Beach. The shops are fun with a mix of touristy souvenirs and clothing. We had dinner at Extreme Pizza once and at Sweet Carolina's the other time.
We did some rides which were $$$ but fun.
There is plenty of parking and it is a clean and safe place to visit with family.

The little boutiques and the nice selection of eateries lent themselves to a wonderful day spent at Broadway at the Beach. Had a coffee and dessert at Paula Deens, (see review) and enjoyed a relaxing day popping in and out of the little shops along the way.

Beautiful newer shopping/entertainment complex. There’s a body of water in the middle with a harbor like feel to the shops. Some good, unusual shops & restaurants. Nice place to stroll.

Plenty to see, do, shop and eat! It is a large area so plan to walk. Had fun doing the mirror maze and shopping for beef jerky, hot sauce, toys, candy, wine, clothing and more. There’s also a playground for younger kids.

Our friends wanted to show us this fun location in Myrtle beach. Lots of shops and rides for the kids. Waits for restaurants were hours long.

Definitely Worth The Short Drive From The Beach. We went here for the magic show which was excellent, and there are a variety of retail shops and restaurants to choose from as well. We will be back!

We had fun. There are a ton of cool shops and many are not your average shop. There were a lot of specialty shops. There are also tons of eating options but you do need to expect long wait times during peak hours. Our kids did the zip line over the water, we rode the jet boats did the obstacle course, and rode many rides. Awesome view from the Ferris Wheel during the day time. We actually came here 2 times during out stay in MB. Yes it can be crowded and it is a tourist attraction. If you are here then you are like a tourist anyway so don't worry about it. We had our 13 and 14 year old's and they loved it. Well worth an afternoon and dinner away from the beach.

SkyWheel was ok but very expensive. Rides were better value. Shopping was okay. Landshark restaurant was very good.

Lots of interesting shops and restaurants. Visited Joe’s Crab and enjoyed the King Crab legs. Great variety of entertainment for young and old.

This place has everything you need: shopping, restaurants, bars, attractions, activities, and entertainment for the whole family of all ages. Wish we could have stayed longer and done more. Would definitely go back.

Love going there! All different shops, and found great deals, plenty of restaurants to choose from. Enjoyed going to Simpson’s 4d ride and loved wonder works !

Fun place! Went here on a Thursday around lunchtime and it was pretty cool! Reminded us of Downtown Disney, but friendlier, mellower and more affordable. (No upscale designers, etc) We appreciated it being more affordable and geared toward families. This is a fun and friendly place for the whole family. It was really nice and clean when we were there last week. We ate at Paula’s, maybe a 45 minute wait? Easily burned up walking around. The knife shop was awesome and the dude working there was really cool and hooked us up with a cool little knife for our son’s birthday. Will definitely be back with the kids!

Lots of shops, many of them very unique. Many of the attractions are overpriced. Lots of shady places to walk in.
BEWARE the Information Centers. They're really just sales offices for timeshares. They say they'll give you really awesome deals on tickets. However, they're not upfront that in order to get the deal you must commit to sitting through a sales presentation.
It's shameful that the landlord would let these people pretend to the the "Information" center. It was the first place we visited and soured the entire trip.

We knew we had to check out Broadway during our stay in Myrtle Beach. We went on a beautiful sunny day. We started at Wonder Works and worked our way down to The Hangout. The water sports and outdoor activities are great/fun but they are expensive. There are plenty of restaurants, stores, bars, kiosks as you make your way through. It's a great place to stroll and people watch but be prepared to spend some money!

Lots of stores and restaurants. We came here to visit Ripley 's Aquarium and Wonder Works. Also, we visited a few shops doing some window shopping.

Nice area for shopping and dinning. Though there was wait times that were crazy. Most part it was peaceful and calm. Would go back again.

we have been at Broadway at the Beach many, many times. other than the sun, waves, and seagulls, our happy time is Broadway! coming down again MAY 22, 2021. I CANNOT WAIT!!!!

Still a nice place to take a stroll or have small kids go on rides. There are much better places to eat than the restaurants here. After dark, I didn’t feel real safe. No police presence that I could see. Pop Stroke Golf is here - nice. I’ll probably stick with Barefoot Landing - safer, better restaurants.

This place is so much fun! Great stores and delicious restaurants. On the bridge there is a spot where there are a ton of catfish waiting to be fed with the food in vending machine. The beautiful birds will land on your arm and hands and eat the food right of your hand, so very cool. They are very gentle. My Husband and I had the best of time here.

I'm not sure why a bunch of negativity but there was so much to do we couldnt fit it in! We walked around mostly as we already had dinner. Rode the ferris wheel which was way over priced especially with skywheel nearby. Wish we skipped this one. Did some ziplining which was reasonably priced. Vending machines could have had water replaced but other than that we had a good time! Barefoot landing IS a bit better but with young kids I think this is a better choice.

Very commercialized. Late night is the young crowds. Not in that category, so we went after lunch and stores and shops were not open. Younger crowd yes after 8pm. Otherwise not a priority to visit for 40+

I was there recently and had a great time and went to many places. Had a great time at Wet Willie’s an Kilwins. I will be back soon.

Something for everyone in your group. Good variety of shopping, bars, restaurants, kiosk, snack bars and stuff for kids. You could definitely spend hours maybe even the whole day there. It’s sectioned off into different area for bars, restaurants etc. Lots of walking around the water and sightseeing and feeding fish if you’re not looking to shell out money doing those things.
I will say we took the kids to the Pavillion area for the rides. It was ridiculously over priced and highway robbery. We would not go back to that area.

You think you come to Myrtle Beach for attractions directly on the beach but this place is just a few miles inland and really fun. It is essentially a figure 8 surrounding water with shops, aquarium, great restaurants, rides and interesting things to see. Check it out!

If I lived near Gemini Boutique I would visit on a weekly basis! Their clothing is always different, fresh and exciting. You will never see yourself coming and going.
The sales staff go out of their way to ensure the fit and color looks fabulous on you. Everyone is so friendly. I feel as if I’ve come home for visit.
Go to Gemini Boutique, browse, treat yourself to an amazing shopping experience.

Not crowded at all. Played both mini golf courses. Can't remember how many rides on the go carts during the day. My wife was worn out and we headed back to the condo before 6 PM (they were open until 8 PM). We were the first to arrive at 11 AM. One attendant said during the Summer the lines can get very long. We had no lines and with Groupon it was very affordable.

From wine tasting to shopping! There’s something for everyone! Nice variety of shops, restaurants, and activities!

I would give my rating a 3 stars, but I know what Broadway at the Beach has been a 5 and could be in the very near future. The place needs to be spruced up like the ownership group did for Barefoot Landing. The walkways and buildings need to be repainted and general maintenance needs to be addressed. We are local residents and love taking friends and family here when people visit. We love to go there occasionally throughout the year for dinning and events ourselves. Ownership please don’t let this gem go to waste, it just needs a little shine and TLC to get it back in shape. There also needs to be a big push to reopen OZ and Malibu or get a new group to take that over. Don’t rest on your laurels, all these things need to be addressed in order for this great destination to continue to thrive. Don’t just count on the new, The Hangout, to keep things running smoothly.

Cool view from the SkyWheel!!! We went during the day and there were no lines. Great shops around and lots to see and do in the area!

Here for the weekend with the kids. Went to the Aquarium and Had dinner at Hard Rock one night and Senior Frogs another night. Lots of Shopping, Bars and entertainment to keep busy. Kids love the attractions from the Zip Line to the Rope Course and All the Pavilion Rides and attractions. You can literally spent the entire day here and still not do everything in one visit.

We have always enjoyed Broadway at the beach with its Variety of restaurants and shops the entire area where the theater was and some smaller general rides has been totally tore down and replaced with two new areas there was a good crowd when we were there in the new area’s

Shops, rides, food choices, and entertainment venues in one place! Be prepared to do a lot of walking though!

So many great shops, rides and food (snacks and restaurants). There is something for everyone here, enjoyed walking around, shopping in the stores and eating. It's Sugar was a favorite of ours. Had a great conversation with the sweet lady at the dip and dots/ frozen banana store and had dinner at Paula Deens restaurant. All very good and would go again. Also check out Paula Deens store for awesome sauces, spices and mixes.

Fun for kids of all ages. 2-21years old.
Fun shopping and many restaurants.
The mood is fun and playful.
The kids loved the rides at the end of the night.

There are a lot of shops here. Some of them are interesting and unique, but some felt like we kept seeing the same stuff repeatedly. The area is well maintained and clean. There were several great photo spots! Broadway at the beach offers many restaurants and a few carnival type attractions such as the giant slide also.

We took our 13 year old for his birthday. We went to simpsons experience (4D theatre), multiple stores/shops, Paula Deens, Dave and Busters, escape room, wonder works. At the end of the trip he said that he had the most fun at Broadway at the beach.

Broadway on the beach is such a fun place. Lots to do including shopping. Great restaurants and even a wine tasting. That was so much fun. We spent half a day there walking around, looking at the fish, shopping. Even bought a beautiful ring at great prices. The clothes for children are amazing with their prices an selection. Planning on going again for sure.

Family friendly with fun shops and excellent restaurants. We were able to have a relaxing time looking into shops and trying the locally made wine (delicious). We bought three bottles to take home. We ate at Paula Deena restaurant and it gives down home family eating. We visited the gift shop, took some pictures and left to walk the boardwalk. If you're ever here stop by and have your own experience.

Not much here, unless you like all the ripleys places. She stores all sold the same stuff. I’ve been to better boardwalks. This one has nothing to offer. We wouldn’t return.

Great activity for the children. If you are on a budget or already attended the big name attractions like we have .. You can skip them . Spend twenty-five dollars on an all day wrist band and let your children ride unlimited rides. Several rides for children of all ages. You can shop eat then go back and let the kids enjoy the fair like atmosphere. They also have hand sanitizer at all the rides . Great value big fun .

My son wanted to go to an escape room and it just happened to be here. I went in blind and unknowingly parking a million miles away from our target location. I was shocked at just how big the actual place is, we were focused on finding The Escape Games and food. It took us around 30 mins to finally locate the The Escape Games and it happened to be right near Margaritaville. So we are waiting on our food now as I'm writing this review. I will review the restaurant and Escape Room once we complete. Overall, i would recommend Broadway at the Beach just for an experience. Wasn't to impressed with what stores I did see but the restaurant selection seemed to be on point!

This place was very neat. There are tons of shops and restaurants and stuff to keep you entertained all day. Plan a full day of this place and you won't be disappointed.

This is just a great place to visit as there is so much to see and do. So many places to eat that sometime you just can’t decide which one to go to first. Plenty of shops that cater to almost any thing you could be looking for.

My husband and I recently returned from a trip to Myrtle Beach and Broadway At The Beach. We had fun, but the weather was very hot and humid. There's something for everyone, but be prepared to pay. We visited Wonderworks, the Wax Museum and Ripley's Aquarium. We were there on a Tuesday, and with school being over for the year, there were quite a number of children. The Aquarium and the Wax Museum moved along with few lines and good indoor space. Wonderworks, on the other hand, is a very popular attraction for children and teens. Its very hands-on and children love it, so many indoor areas would be full of children waiting to try the different activities. Tired parents were trying to find places to sit as they waited for their children to enjoy the activities. It was organized chaos. My husband and I left after about an hour inside Wonderworks. Our cost for 2 people for this attraction was $62.33 including tax.
Our cost for Ripley's Aquarium was $68.78 for 2 people. Senior discounts are available for many attractions at Broadway At The Beach. Have fun!

The Broadway at the Beach is such a fun concept that I hope thrive and stays successful. There are plenty of restaurant options, bars, shopping, and entertainment packed into this space. In addition, there is a lake and plenty of seating for when moments of rest is required. Plenty of things to do for all ages and interests and centrally located near tons of things off the premises for pleasure.

We loved every bit of this boardwalk. There are tons of stores. There are tons of places to get drinks and places to eat. They are all really good.
Make sure you look up the weather. We failed to do this a couple times showed up and the very last time we got beyond soaked lmao overall a great atmosphere and the hangout omg we will be back that place was LIVE 😂❤️

There are many places to eat and shopping to fulfill your retail needs.
A very nice place at night, but all the shop's close, at 9pm, with the exception of bars and food venues.
Would be better to stay at least open till 10 or 11 pm on weekend.
Plenty of parking and the walking bridge travers water. There are boat rides available, not sure of the cost.
Local pizza, i.e. melt and extreme pizza good for casual fare.

Fun fun fun place. Lots to see and do. Food , games ,shopping, boat rides. Although lots of walking plenty of spots to sit and take it all in.

So we wen to Broadway at the Beach one evening while in Myrtle Beach. There is something for Everyone. From unique shops to major chain stores. The night we went there was live music on the stage. All of the major touristy chain restaurants are there. Unfortunately we arrived at 8pm and all of the stores closed at 9pm. Sort of odd closing so early in the evening during the summer post Labor Day. Plenty of tourists and locals alike.

There are so many things to do at Broadway at theBeach. Restaurants, aquarium, other attractions for entire family, shopping and a large Ferris wheel. Make sure you visit. Since the last time we were there they have added so many cool restaurants and attractions.

I truly enjoyed the time I spent here. I recommend you go early evening since most of the stores close around 9 pm. My best spot was the Kwik-E Mart...yes Simpsons fans you have to go.

This place has a lot to do. There is Ripley’s Aquarium, zip lining, a lot of restaurants/dessert places, and shopping. I guarantee you will find something to do.

So fun! So many things to see and explore.Even with an almost 2 year old it was great. Sky wheel is an absolute must !!!!!!!

If you're not from around here this is a great place to take young children and young adults the only thing I wish they had is more shade but the stores are on expensive and the food there is great especially Margaritaville I would go back. And tiger woods new Pop stroke Is SICK as it gets.

My kids wanted to come here more than the actual beach during our visit. Plenty to see, plenty to eat, plenty to do. Can get very crowded. All the added activities can add up and get expensive....for a cheap thrill, feed the fish from the pier. This place reminds me of Downtown Disney when they were still fun.

So much to do. Expect long waits for the restaurants! Boat ride is a must. Our new favorite place to eat is the Hangout(?). Not sure that’s the correct name, but it’s the newest restaurant there. Really great atmosphere for the kiddos! Be prepared to walk!

This is a great place to walk around and there is so much to do. Be prepared to spend a lot of money. Between the attractions, food and shops, you are sure to spend a pretty penny. I recommend going into Wonder Works and doing the Zip Line.

Enjoyed out time spend at the Broadway at the Beach, walked around alot and stopped at Dave and Busters for some games and a little cool time.

Took our young teen (13 and 14 ) grandchildren on a trip to Charleston. While they showed interest in learning history for one walking tour and politely endured a second horrible ghost tour they had looked forward to, they really needed something more in their lane of fun. We decided on Myrtle Beach and stumbled upon this gem.
It is definitely and unapologetically, "touristy". And has the feel of a carnival or amusement park. The restaurants were mostly chain restaurants with the regular fare and adequate for a solid family meal mid to high priced. We chose a restaurant that served everything from pizza, burgers, seafood, and barbecue. It was adequate left nothing to complain about, and left two teens satisfied. Which is hard to do when traveling with middle-schoolers.
The shopping was geared toward tourists with trinkets, t-shirts, and candy shops. Some many shops to explore, tastes and sights to enjoy. Lots of attractions to enjoy.
Two highlights for our grandchildren. The first, there was a small amusement park (10 rides tops) but they had just the right mix for a 13 and 14 year old. You could buy all day wrist bands at 44.95 or purchase individual tickets. Each ride cost a different amount of tickets. It was a fun exercise and math lesson in disguise to see them in investigate the rides calculate the attractions they wanted to do and decide if individual ticket or the all day pass was for them. They decided on individual tickets and had loads of fun.
The second after buying delicious shaved ice we stared over water at hundreds of fish begging to be fed, and watch as people rode a speedboat attraction. They enjoyed just people watching.
All in all a great afternoon. Not a destination by any means, but definitely recommend as a way to break up a lengthy vacation/stay, clean, family friendly fun.

Lots of different types of shops to visit, plenty of good eats and fun to watch the fish and boat rides. Restrooms were clean and grounds are well kept.

Loads of parking, but we walked from nearby hotel for dinner. Loads of people on Friday night. Was not impressed with the shopping. Clean and adequate security.

The security staff here is incompetent at best. No first aid kits available, no AEDs available, no staff trained in any medical procedures whatsoever. Given that tens of thousands of people visit here every day we looked into if lifesaving medical equipment was mandated to be here by state law and we’re shocked that it was not. This proves that this establishment gives no care about your well being and doesn’t go even a little bit above and beyond. I pray your loved one never has any medical emergency here because there will be no help. No mercy. No follow up. My dad died on the ground in front of Margaritaville 5/23/23 and they didn’t even shut off the music for us to be able to call 911. All the security could do was yell at us, his family, to move away. Sad sad memory and I will never visit again.

Pleasant surroundings and choices for food and entertainment makes broadway very desirable. Loved the lights and beach.

I come here every time I come to MB! So many shops, including my favorite: the Christmas shop!! Candy shops, clothes shops, everything you could ask for.

Lots of things to do. Food galore, mini golf, arcade, seasonal amusements and local boutique store galore. It’s a great place to even just go for a stroll around to get some steps.

It's becoming a tradition for us to spend at least one day strolling around the complex, when we visit Myrtle Beach.
Being off-season, mid-week and somewhat chilly out; does make for a low traffic flow and some shops not being open.
But what may be a negative for some; we find quite appealing.
The lack of crowds makes for comfortable strolling. The shops that are open are easy to browse, and often have unharried staff willing to converse and answer questions.
(Since there are not many items we're looking to purchase, except maybe a sweet indulgence or two, a closed shop here and there is not a big loss to us.)
Most restaurants, that are open, have immediate seating and a lack of urchins using the facility as a playground.
Overall, we find this time off year a great opportunity to visit the area.
(Though some may find 30-50 degree weather too uncomfortable, it's almost balmy compared to the 0-teens weather we left behind.)

Totally touristy but you can still have fun there. easy 30 min walk from the beach. lots of restaurant choices, fun to wander on an overcast day or if you need a break from the beach

Lots of shops. Ripley Aquarium is here. Power boat rides.
Good places to eat - Margaritavile, Cold Stone Ice Cream and many others.
Stuff for kids to do.

We visit Myrtle often and honestly I was expecting to see a little fall decor, especially being the 2nd week of October, and even Halloween decor - but there were none. We were surprised at the remodeling of the walks in certain areas and this was our first visit to the new addition - it seemed to be the best part of Broadway now in our opinion.

Great spot to take kids to have a great time! Nice time for the nightlife WITHOUT the kids. Shopping center has a nice variety.

We hit a bunch of the shops and some craft brew houses. Enjoyed American Tap House especially. Going in January was nice because it wasn’t crossed yet most everything was open. It was pretty nice to not have to fight crowds or traffic, and even nicer to be able to park right outside where we were heading. Overall a nice time walking around in mid-January when temperatures were in the mid 50s. It sure beats coming here in the summer when the crowds are overwhelming and the temperatures sweltering.

Enjoyed dinner at Senor Frogs, big kids rode the “Beast” ride (giant pendulum), and we enjoyed visiting the interesting variety of shops…Paula Deen, Cariloha, many varied stores. So much to see and do!

I was in town for work and spent a freezing cold day here with no regrets! So many things to do and see, even in down season, and plenty of shops and restaurants to warm up in if needed.

Broadway at the beach has a ton of cool shops and restaurants. They also have fair rides. We had a lot of fun there. Didn’t get to eat there but there is a lot of choices

Over Memorial Weekend my son & his family were anxious to walk around Broadway at the Beach. There is an amusement park that got their attention & the kids wanted to ride some of the attractions. I was shocked to hear him say that it would be $58 for one ride… it couldn’t be, I thought. It was & it is… Broadway at the Beach is simply too overpriced for a normal family to enjoy. It’s very disappointing since w all the pretty lights & fun atmosphere, tourists just mostly walk & look which is a waste of time if you have children who want to do fun things.

Very nice place with alot of places to eat and shop. The one thing my husband and I did not appreciate. Was the helicopters constantly passing overhead. It really ruined an otherwise very nice experience.

This is the Ultimate Tourist Trap, which is not necessarily a bad comment. I've been to a number of these "Boardwalk" Entertainment places, but this one seemed to offer little fun for lots of money. I don't understand the name, there are no Broadway Shows and it is pretty far from the Beach. I guess the street might have been named Broadway and it is in Myrtle Beach. Nevertheless, we just went to kill a few hours. The Ferris Wheel would have cost 2 of us about $14 to ride and it didn't seem worth it when there was really nothing to see from the top. Not like the Niagara Falls wheel or the London Eye, just a carnival ride. Our teens rode the Swings which they thought were fun. There were lots of souvenir places especially if you are a MAGA fan, which we are not. If we wanted to buy the ride wristband, I'm sure that would have been a better deal, but not interested in the $45 price tag for 2 people. Ended up having two drinks at the Margaritaville Bar and calling it a night.

So much to do, so much to see, so much to eat. Wow everything you could look for in one spot. Try Paula Deans for a meal. excellent

Run down in only 4 years since I was here last! Paint the walkways, fix the railings, power wash, get stores in the close down places... getn dumpy!

We always come to Broadway at the Beach when we visit MB! This time we went to the Grand Prix go carts. Our 3 year old and 15 year old had so much fun!

Be prepared to walk around!! However if you if are a tourist and love shopping you will love this place!!

Last time I visited here was 10 years ago. It is a much larger area now. I remember after we visited the Simpson theatre just opened. Now it appears the Simpsons theatre just closed lol. The area is very cool to walk around. They kind of nickel and dime you around here, so be ready for the extra expense. The carousel is pretty expensive.

Place across from sky wheel called Shopicana did this to my daughter's arm. We were told, $35, then told $40 when sat down. At register, after taxes, and labor cost, it was more like $50. And I still tipped the girl another $10 in cash. No instructions were given, except let it dry for a half hour. We let it dry for 3 hours and followed instructions from online to peel it and wash it. Which we did, but this is how my daughter woke up. We do not recommend going to them for any henna or hair wraps. (Also price jacked) Terrible experience. They denied responsibility, didn't offer any apologies and couldn't help us fix or or suggest how to fix it ourselves. Every store on the strip has same thing to offer. I would advise go somewhere else.

A great place. Many choices for fun. Feed the fish and ducks. Walk the boardwalk go to Paula Dean's..check out the retro store. There is so much to do here.

Best place to have fun in Myrtle Beach, SC, you can eat in many different restaurants, beautiful and funny stores and for the kids they have many attractions

There is so many things to do here. This place is awesome! From boat riders to zip lining, to walking around shopping and even carnival rides. You can spend a whole day here and the area is very nice! Definitely something to do while in myrtle beach!

Lots of shops and fun stuff to do with the kids. Disappointment was how many restaurants were not open at 1pm. The ones open averaged an hour wait. But lots of fun stuff to do.

This is a great place to walk around and shop to your hearts content. Also, all kinds of dining to choose from. Plan to spend several hours.

What an awesome place for dining, shopping, and rides! To top it off, fireworks every Tuesday!! The Hangout is an awesome spot for live music.

Great place for families. Lot of restaurants, shops, things to do. I did find the prices of the park rides to be ridiculous, very pricey. Family did the Simpsons 4D.
Lots of walking, money to be spent.
Plenty of parking

This is a fun attraction in Myrtle Beach. There are many shops and rides and restaurants. Expect a crowd but it’s not unbearable. The thing I didn’t like is the closing time, I’d like to see them stay open another hour especially on weekends. Other than that I’d say it’s worth a visit if you’re from out of town. Best place to eat here is Melt, check them out. (KML)

Large group went to the aquarium and others shopped. The speed boat ride was the best! We got to watch and wave at family members!!

SO many things to do for all ages. We easily spent 300 here at night by partaking in a few activities with two kids and one adult. It is definitely pricey but we had so much fun. If you have a tight budget I could see it being tough to have a great time with little ines not being able to do all the activities and what not.

Nice variety of shops and restaurants. Every time we are in Myrtle we usually go here. Previously eaten at the Hard Rock and the Grumpy Monk both were good. Even if you just walk around people watch and window shop it's a good time.

A must see when in Myrtle Beach! Tons of places to eat, shop and enjoy the nightlife! Crocodile Rocks and the dueling pianos is also a must see while at Broadway at the Beach!

If you have nothing else to do while you’re in Myrtle Beach would be the only reason I would say that you should go to this complex. My husband stopped to ask directions at a “visitor’s center” and got a sales pitch for a time share. HOW AWFUL! If you have kids, there seems to be lots of things to entertain them when it’s not off season. Shopping is so-so with a selection of stores that are mostly overpriced tourist kitch. There is already plenty of this kind of thing on the oceanfront. Stay on the beach!

Good selection of shops, good mask compliance, lots of walking if you want it. We do not recommend Senor Frog for lunch. We loved the retro stores and Stupid Store.

B@theB is easy to get to, ample free parking, and probably something for everyone. Shopping, food, rides and attractions, plenty to fill a day or an evening. The atmosphere is carnival-like in a good way. Plenty of stores to explore, some chain and some unique one off shops. Prepare to drop a dime, especially with kids as there are lots of temptations.

We visited Broadway at the beach in the morning so the weather was beautiful. A ton of shops and eateries. A lot of things to see and do and very clean and family friendly. We loved it there and we wished the boardwalk at Myrtle Beach was more like this. It's a must see.

Nice family environment. Some shops and buildings were vacant and/or closed. Definitely a tourist attraction, but prices for simple things like beverages were to high. There was one very shady person wearing a mask, hoody, and gloves, which should not be allowed in a family venue like this.

We strolled through Broadway at the Beach on a gloomy day. We had a wonderful afternoon. So many shops and things to see. We did not do any of the activities but they looked so fun. Stopped at Charleys for a drink and bartender (Caroline I think) was excellent. The environment was clean including the bathroom. We would go back again and explore more.

Went here on Tuesday night. It was fun, but extremely crowded. If you are actually trying to shop, I don’t see how you have enough comfortable space in the stores to make any decisions. Saw lots of things significantly over priced. The fish in the pond at barefoot landing are 3X the size of the fish here. The food to feed the fish was $1.00 9 years ago and it is now $5.00, so a 5X increase?? See picture. Overall we enjoyed the walk.

This is the #1 spot to see and do in Myrtle Beach. A lot of entertainment, shops, attractions, and restaurants. The nightlife out here is awesome!

It was much better the second day when we found the scooter rental location. Has tons of shops restaurants and amusement things. Also has a few hotels on location.

We have been coming to Myrtle Beach with our children for over 20 years and one of our fave places is Broadway at the Beach. From the rides to restaurants and museums to just walking the boardwalk and looking at the lights at night, there is something for everyone of every age. Thanks for always keeping things fresh, fun, exciting and relaxing!

This is a fun place with so much going on. There are fun activities like a carousal, ferris wheel and other rides. There's also food options and a lot for kids. Like any other tourist attractions things are a little overpriced but the atmosphere makes you spend that extra.
It is nice during the evenings and there is boating options with restaurants and shows. Ample parking is available and can easily be a relaxing place after a day out in the beaches.

This was the only area in Myrtle Beach that was pleasant. Very large and great for walking and shopping. Many stores and restaurants as well as show venues.

Went here on a tuesday night with my husband. It seemed a lot cleaner and classier than last year. We brought bread to feed the fish, dicks and birds, and that was fun. There were a lot of fun shoppes to walk around in. Would recommend to anyone!

We loved it here! Shops suitable for everyone to get a souvenir or find something they want or need, some more unique than others but no complaints! We like to walk in all shops :) It was the off season so not super busy, but people still out and enjoying themselves, all stores and restaurants were open! All staff were super inviting, friendly, and helpful and prices for the stores and food wasn’t bad! We’d go back again!

If we ever make it back to Myrtle Beach, we will definitely come back! This place was clean, and nothing felt crowded about the place despite having a large number of people there. There is no comparison between this spot and the boardwalk.!!

Very lovely, I would definitely do it again!
The sights and staff were wonderful!
It was a great location and it was nice to get off and have so many other options for activities to do

Lots of fun and entertainment for the entire family and people of all ages! Rides, shopping, restaurants, attractions you name it they have it!

What a blast- especially for families! This place has it all -food -fun and plenty to do for all ages. there isn’t enough time in a day to visit all the attractions and shops. I would definitely plan a two day trip here to see all the attractions especially if you have kids.

Spent our last day on Spring Break here and no one wanted to leave. I wish we went on day 1. Loved everything. Well worth the visit. I recommend and will be returning.

Worthless. Don't do it. Incredible waste of our time. I'm highly disappointed in MB as a whole. Nothing but overpriced chain restaurants. Really bad seafood

It was a rainy day so that rather cut into the fun. Several places were closed but we did enjoy the "Stupid Factory" and the "80s Store" Lunch at Hard Rock Cafe was typical and good, great service!

Would leave no stars if possible. The food absolutely sucks. The waitress was a crook. Dont take my word for it. Just go and see for yourself just how bad this place sucks.

We went here after dinner and enjoyed the speciality shops and scenery. Unique items for sale and lots of restaurants. Well worth a visit!

Broadway at the Beach is filled with everything you need for entertaining family fun! There are numerous restaurants, snack foods, shops, and loads of entertainment including - thrilling Carnival Rides, a large Ferris Wheel, Mirror Maze, Wonderworks, exciting Lagoon Boat Ride, a Zipline, a Ropes Course, a Lagoon filled with fish to feed, and propably a few things that we missed! We spent hours here, and quite a bit of money too! LOL! This place was super fun, and we can't wait to return!!

Maybe Pigeon Forge’s Island copied this place, but being a Tennessean, it felt too familiar, almost like it was taking time away from other area activities.
Typical shopping found in a plaza, (candy, a glasses, shoes, etc). The outdoor activities seemed like fun, but we can at a time of rain.

Years ago, Broadway at the Beach was a nice well themed, fun, family-oriented shopping, entertainment, and dining experience. Today it is a dirty disjointed, rundown assortment of carnival rides, side shows, games, and crappy tourist trap T-shirt stores. The jet boat rides, and constant helicopter fly overs have totally ruined the Broadway at the Beach experience. Places like Ripley’s Aquarium, Margaritaville and Paula Deen’s are worth checking out but bring ear plugs and be prepared to feel like you are in the middle of some type of invasion. Helicopters and jet boats constantly storm the shores of what could be a tranquil, enjoyable time.

I’ve read some of the recent negative reviews, and am happy to say this was not our experience. Sure there are some vacant storefronts, but that is often the case in large venues like this. We visited one afternoon and enjoyed walking around and doing a little shopping. We returned on a Friday night and it was a different, more energetic vibe. We had dinner at one of the restaurants and then did the big 360 Broadway sky wheel. My 21 year old daughter said it would be a fun date night place. We found the place clean, including the restrooms. The carnival type rides looked interesting, and I can see buying the wristbands if you plan to ride a few rides. The sky wheel is about $10, so a $40 unlimited ride pass doesn’t seem too bad if you’re going to be there for period of time. (And cheaper than you’d spend in some stores, probably!)

We walked through this area because some of our activities (aquarium/wonderworks) were here. We were not impressed. Most of the area was under heavy construction. We couldn’t even tell what the stores were. If you are looking for a super touristy, gimmicky place, then this might be for you. We bought nothing while here.

Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach is a great place to go for shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. I really like the space and everything that they have available here to offer. Everything is well maintained and has everything that you need for a good time. I have had a really good experience every time I have been here.

We could have spent every day of our vacation walking the shops here and still not get to see it all! We love the variety, the restaurants, the aesthetic. It’s such a gorgeous place. My son enjoyed feeding the fish. Thought it was awesome. Melt was delicious. Beware of the street carts lol, bought a little tipping dog on a leash toy with huge signs saying ten bucks — then told if we want it to come with the leash that’ll be 8 more, and batteries— 2 more. So 20$. But you live and learn!

There's so much to do here! We ate at the hard rock cafe for the first time! It was around an hour wait but it was delicious! Defiantly get there early if you plan on eating somewhere because wait times could be a while. However the hour we had to wait was fine with us so we could walk around and check out all the shops! After we ate we went to Dave and busters .. then there were fireworks. It was a great way to end the night!

We walked down the Broadway a few times was beautiful and relaxing to do. Sometimes you can see dolphins while walking. We sadly only seen them once

We enjoyed an evening that included dinner, a ride on the Ferris Wheel and souvenir shopping. There is so much to do, but honestly you can walk the loop around the lake and be entertained.

Very fun way to spend an afternoon with my adult daughter on our get away trip . Dozens of small boutiques, interesting shops, variety of restaurants. Fun atmosphere to wander around .

It was ok. There are mostly restaurants and some shops, most of which you find at vacation areas nationwide. I am not sure why this is so popular unless maybe it's because alcohol is plentiful.

Love Broadway at the Beach can’t get enough of all that goes on there, great to walk off dinner or eat there plenty of places.

Getting to be a “tough and scary” crowd. I saw no police presence. I’m a local and doubt that I’ll be going back. That being said, there are nice shops there and mostly chain restaurants.

Saturday night, great band at hangout doing covers of zztop and guns n roses. Lots of people but never too crowded. So many photo ops!! The landscaping and flower arrangements are amazing and so well maintained. Stopped for ice cream cones at Molly’s Creamery (banana is amazing) and ate those to walk down to the ferris wheel and feed the fish. And plenty of parking. Must stop for young kids- lots for them to do there

We came here on the first night of our vacation. We got here around 5:30 on a Sunday. We had no issues parking, but the place was extremely crowded. We were trying to find somewhere to eat for dinner. Many places had 2 - 3 hour waits and some just not taking anymore parties at all. So disappointing on vacation. We ended up eating at Roosters. They were able to get us in after an hour wait. Not what we wanted. ...but the only ones that could take us. The food was good though.
Some reviews say this place has a Disney Springs vibe....I didn't get that at all. Just busy with restaurants and stores that weren't of interest. We'll probably never return...the place isn't even on the beach.
We enjoyed Downtown Myrtle Beach Boardwalk so much better. Live entertainment there overlooking the beach each night. We also made sure to book dinner reservations for the remainder of the week. None which were at Broadway at the Beach.

I needed to rest and was looking for a place where I wouldn't need a car and everything would be available in a wonderful space. I found it...The Hampton Inn by Hilton had reinstated their full breakfast and it was wonderful. The area around the lake provided exercise and places to eat that I didn't have at home. The van to and from the airport was convenient and appreciated I thank everyone for a good time - you made my week. By the way, the special fireworks, though short, were quite good!

Went to The Broad Chare with my husband 2 sons and their girlfriends.
You cannot go wrong in The Broad Chare, the food is always good. I had potted shrimps on toast it was lovely. For my main I had Pork chop I like to have pork when I go out as I cannot cook it at home it always ends up over done, it was lovely. My sons and husband had oysters to start which they love - yuk not for me. My husband had cod and sons both had steak. The girlfriends had burgers which they said were delicious as they must be homemade. All in all a lovely experience. It's a lovely building and the restaurant is above the pub. I didn't fancy a dessert so just had coffee instead. Everyone had a lovely time and would highly recommend.

Many of our happiest times on vacation were spent hanging around Broadway at the Beach. There are several terrific attractions, including Wonderworks, Ripley's aquarium, amusement park rides, an escape room, other shows we didn't have time to see, shopping (including one fun retro-pop-culture store), several excellent restaurants (the Hangout, the Grumpy Monk, Extreme Pizza) and ice cream (Sweet Molly's).
But really, the best part of it was just the pleasant, pedestrian-friendly environment. It was a very relaxed and hospitable place to spend time. Restrooms were clean, didn't feel overcrowded, and both the service and prices were better at these restaurants than at our hotel. Great place to spend a couple of days.

Lot of the stores are close, weather is bad for the beach. I googled before booked my trip and it said great time to go, not a lot of people and weather in the 70s… not true it’s cold and windy. We had to find stuff to do inside because of the cold

Wow!...we used to enjoy coming here when we were in Myrtle Beach. Unfortunately, my family’s latest visit left a lot to be desired and it will be a long time before we return.
I do not know whether the COVID shutdown is behind the current dilapidated condition or simply a lack of attention. The boardwalk is filled with old, rickety boards and there was debris and other trash floating in the water. Numerous storefronts sit empty and unkempt.
The final straw occurred when, while buying my kids a couple of souvenirs, we were treated to a domestic disturbance in which a man physically assaulted his female companion as she hurled a string of swear words. It was quite obvious my 8 and 6 year old children were emotionally disturbed and scared. Luckily I was with them as opposed to my wife. Unfortunately, given the clientele we saw walking around, I can’t say I was surprised. I can only imagine what this place looks like after dark.

Are dogs allowed at broadway at the beach? We are coming again in June of 2022 and staying for a week and we are bringing our dog. We would love to go to broadway at the beach

Fantastic place with lots of entertainment, food and attractions and Ofcourse the beach.
Skywheel is a definite must do.

We were a group of 32 travelers. Lots of shops and lots of walking. There is probably somethimg here for everyone. Some of the shops offer outstanding bagains and well as unique items. I undertand some activies like mini golf and the aquarium are a bit pricey. If you are in the area, this a a nice place to spend some leisurely time weather permitting.

We visited Saturday 4/10/21 . I was so embarrassed to have suggested we go here ! The place was filthy, trash on the ground everywhere overflowing trash cans .
It was just a dirty filthy place and rough looking crowd there . I didn’t see people spending money in shops they were just eating and throwing trash all over including the parking lot we saw those big whole pineapple nasty drinks thrown right next to our car doors.
We took one quick walk around Broadway . I wouldn’t eat in one of those restaurants inside Broadway for no amount of money . I couldn’t wait to get back to car and get out of there .
Broadway is owned by Burroughs and Chapin and that group better get a grip on that situation before that is a giant trash dump right in the middle of the beach !
I would not go back there or suggest anyone I know go there . Very disappointing to see how much Broadway at the beach has gone downhill. We left without spending a dime and only stayed long enough to get back to wherever car was parked stepping over trash every step of the way.
I don’t see how those shops & restaurants survive or pay the rent.

So much to see and do here. Very nice shops, restaurants and attractions. There is something here for the entire family!

this can easily be a day event, lots of walking, lots to look at, great eating & entertainment too, shopping

Absolutely amazing place. Something for everyone. Prepare to spend several hours here. We love going at night

This place kept coming up as a local attraction. It was nice but mostly just and outdoor shopping mall with a couple of attractions. We had lunch at Sweet Carolinas. The food was decent, but they only had 2 servers and we had to wait probably 20 minutes to be seated when there were at least a dozen free tables. Once we were seated we were served quickly though. We picked up a Myrtle beach Christmas ornament as a souvenir at the Christmas shop and some flavored vodka at the Kentucky distillery as a gift. It’s not a bad place to spend a couple of hours on a nice day if you enjoy shopping. The Wonderworks museum looked pretty cool.

Absolute redneck on the riviera experience. Loud obnoxious music blasted from all businesses. If you want a low class headache experience this idiotic experience is for you. I guess the idiots who run this area think that customers are about 11 years old. COMPLETELY DO NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU HAVE AN I.Q. ABOVE 10. AWFUL. DISGUSTING.

Excellent Food; temperature in dining area far too cold; service very good and military discount; wide variety of selections on menu with outside seating available to those choosing to eat outside

Great place for a walk and occasional shopping. Great to see all the activity and growth. Enjoyable visit.

My kids really enjoyed this area more than the Boardwalk
The rides were great and the little shopping areas were great for us adults. A lot of things to do for a fun full or half day. Would definitely go back with or without kids

This is a very family friendly spot to take a break from the beach. There are rides, water boats, restaurants, live music, and other activities. Keep in mind restaurant wait times are extensive due to the staff shortages. Have patience or consider calling ahead for take out.

My first time visiting Myrtle Beach. The Broadway at the Beach is a must!! Me and my family had a wonderful time. It’s a place for the whole family. You will not be disappointed.

what ever you want all types of shopping , rides , restaurants , and other attractions , as well it is a good walk with nice views.

Sorely disappointed. We went on a Tuesday night but did expect more lights and festivities. We didn’t walk the entire mile since it was pitiful, but maybe we missed something…sorry.

Love this place!!! If you are wanting to spend time with family and friends while shopping, eating, and having fun then this is the place for you!!!

We enjoyed a night there with the kids. They loved every singole ride and watching the fish on the lake as well.

If you go to Myrtle Beach then you have to come here. Had a great time riding the Ferris wheel and even going to the best restaurant in the place called Margaritaville. Make sure you schedule a day here or you’re gonna miss out on all the beach fun

What a fun outdoor mall space. Lots of restaurants shops and even outdoor club spaces. Rides and boats too. There was really something for everyone. Prices were standard for a tourist place. Plenty of parking

We enjoyed a nice visit at Broadway at the Beach. My sister and her husband wanted to show us the best of Myrtle Beach. We visited Ripley’s Aquarium and it was amazing. We loved the shops and had ice cream. There was a car show nearby that we enjoyed. This is a great place to visit and we highly recommend Broadway at the Beach.

Somewhat dead. Very few good deals even in the off season. Very few people this time of year. Plenty of restaurants on site. Bathrooms available and plenty of parking.

My husband and I really enjoyed visiting Broadway at the Beach. There are tons of places to shop and eat. There are even a ton of rides, plus an aquarium. Great for any age!

So many stores and things to do. We loved feeding the fish! We did a lot of walking and enjoyed the fireworks at night time.

Amazing outdoor shopping and entertainment. We ran out of time and only saw about 1/3 of the property. Tons of on site restaurants, shops, and fun activities. Lots to explore. Recommend bringing lots of $$$$. Great place to go with a family.

There are tons of great shopping, eating, and activities here. We went early evening and our group consisted of ages 3-61 years old. We all had fun. Previous reviews mentioned it being dirty, but we didn’t see that at all. Our little girls enjoyed the characters and free princess show. The teens enjoyed the rides, and the adults enjoyed the environment. Bring money for tips. We tipped the roaming characters that are available for pictures, the singers, and our servers at the drink cart.

Fun place lots of variety good for kids with the fish and feeding them. Famous name shops. The only reason why I gave it a four out of five was there doing major work there and saw some unsafe situations for kids. Example workers carrying material while on the phone and not paying attention where they were going as much

Visitors can find a variety of activities at the family-friendly Broadway at the Beach district, home to many attractions. Other popular activities include mini-golf, a water park, a wax museum, boat rides, and helicopter tours.
Nothing says Myrtle Beach vacation quite like Broadway at the Beach. This sprawling entertainment complex is one of Myrtle Beach’s most iconic landmarks and a must-visit stop when you’re in town.
It features features crowd-pleasing restaurants like the Hard Rock Cafe, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, and Wahlburgers, as well as popular attractions, such as Ripley's Aquarium, WonderWorks, and the Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center.
,
There are theaters for concerts and other live performances, more than a dozen eateries, three hotels and all sorts of entertainment, including a piano bar and a comedy club. In the summer, there are firework displays every Tuesday and select Friday nights, as well as other family-friendly events.
There is no charge to visit Broadway at the Beach, but certain attractions charge fees. Parking can be hard to find on busy days, even, there are like 1000s of parking spots are there.

Nice shopping and entertainment complex with a lot of restaurant options. Lake setting makes the walk around very enjoyable. $5 fish food cups turned out to be a blast. Huge carp that literally form a solid layer of fish as they pile on top of each other to grab those pellets. Amusement rides, that looked cool at night with their lights on. Decent variety of vendors, with some deals to be found.

So many things to do and see, excellent restaurants and prices, as well as shopping, got a head start on my Christmas gift shopping, lol!

Not for a young person of sorts. Geared mostly for families with young children. They have merry-go-rounds and things like that. Some of their shops are under construction. But if you want really good food that's the place to go or at least partly because of Margaritaville. A handicapped person would have a harder time because of the ground. Especially if they're in a wheelchair or with a walker of some sort.

Nice place to check out. Plenty to do for all ages. Lots of shops that will cater to everyone. Great selection of dining options and or snack options. There are some attractions such as carnival rides, and jet boat rides just to name a few. Kwik E Mart for the Simpsons fans was cool. Fireworks were also pretty cool. It was busy but not overwhelming. We will definitely go again if we go back to Myrtle Beach.

This little area is probably a blast in the summer. With a state fair / coney island vibe it looks like it would be a great place for families to spend a day. During the weeks before Christmas it is totally dead.

Lot of activities to do. Sites, boat rides and a lot of shopes to visit. Great food at Margarito Vill

We were not here at peak season, so it wasn't super busy. There were many shops, restaurants, and fun activities. This would be a fun family activity.

A trip to Broadway at the Beach is a must. We went in the morning and the weather was beautiful. So many shops and it is so pretty to walk through.

I enjoyed Broadway at the Beach. We have teenagers and we let them walk the park on their own. They have tons of shops and restaurants. It’s a great location too. Right on the corner! You could spend at least 3-4 hours easy.

Best time around. The restaurants. The activities. Even mini golf which the kids loved. Any and everything to do here. A must stop if in Myrtle Beach.

This had to be my favorite spot in Myrtle Beach. I loved all the stores and the sensory overload. They have things for all ages to participate in. Even some old fashion carnival style games.
I thought the big wave boats that were offered as paid rides were cool and if it wasn't night time when I went there I would've of definitely got on one. Some of the stores are those you see at other tourist areas and some I've never seen before. I wish I was visiting for more than a week and I would've taken advantage of going to the aquarium, Wonderworks and watched the Cirque. I tried to get my son to do the zip line but I think he was a bit afraid. All in all this is the best place to be during the evening.

We had a great time. Lots to do there. Shopping, food, entertainment, rides. Great for kids and adults.
Went to the Upsidedown House. Had a great time. Fun for adults and kids. Lots of educational and fun things to do

Spent the evening with an escape room, dinner, and ice cream for dessert for teenagers and parents. We did the krampus escape room as a Christmas in July vacation family fun game. This was a first family experience game and all had a good time. We escaped and succeeded in under an hour. The story was well done the puzzles were challenging and involved several rooms. We then walked around and though we put in our name at Gard Rock we ended up at Senior Frogs. The food was hit and fresh. It was a good time party karaoke and eatery in one. The was as art staff was friendly and very conscientious When we left an item. They had it at the bat waiting for us. Thank you!! Finally we had ice cream at Kilwinds which never lets down In was not cheap but everyone enjoyed the time together

Lobby staff and housekeeping were all excellent. Clean facility. Atmosphere was quiet and inviting. We will definitely come back.

I don’t really see a lot of reason to waste vacation time going here. We ate at Paula Deens and regretted it. I did the Simpson’s in 4D and enjoyed that. We didn’t visit the aquarium so that might be ok. But mostly it is way overpriced chain restaurants and way overpriced tourist oriented retail stores. We were there about noon on a weekday in offseason and other than the aquarium it was virtually empty.

Overpriced merchandise in this tourist trap. We loved browsing but not buying. Even the snacks , food and drinks are tourist targeted. Lower your prices and make money!

Very nice day at Broadway on the beach. I had to rent a scooter there and it made it very enjoyable. Clean and friendly. Nice variety of stores and restaurants.

Broadway at the Beach has many, many shops as well as eateries to choose.
There’s something for everyone to enjoy!!
Young and old alike, you will find something to do.
ONLY DOWNFALL: This is a Big One Good Readers - - - There Is One eatery That SERVICE ANIMALS ARE NOT WELCOMED !!!
CHARLY’S Restaurant & Bar Would Not Accept My SERVICE DOG!!! Their outside seating is located “Before” the entrance. My husband had asked if we could be seated there with a service dog. He was denied!
I then went up to inquire and explained that I have a letter of proof, and also explained that we will happily go elsewhere. Then I recommended they (manager), look into the laws of Service Animals,
Hard Rock Cafe Welcomed Us With Open Arms!!!!! No Questions Asked!!! They Are the Nicest People There!!!
FOR the RECORD: EVERYONE ACCEPTED US !!! (Except Charley’s).
I was not going to write this review, but family and friends convinced me otherwise. I, personally, will not be supporting this eatery anywhere at anytime.
Thank You Good People for Your Kind Ears (Eyes).

Very convenient location. With a variety of store and attractions for different ages. Like museums , aquatic rides and the R aquarium.

This area has a variety of stores restaurants and activities. You can spend a whole day or two here. There are several hotels very close by. Make sure you visit You will not be disappointed

Broadway at the beach is a cool experience. They offer a broad
amount of entertainment as well as shopping. Many different choices of restaurants with different styles of food choices. Broadway at the beach is family friendly and senior friendly. They have placed many areas you can sit and rest. Rides for the kids is another big attraction . The area is a large circle with water in the middle surrounded by a large walkway. You
can just stroll and enjoy the view or feed the ducks. (seeds can be purchased at a machine by water.
Broadway on the beach is complete
with everything you could desire
on a outing. Wear comfortable shoes so you can take in everything it has to offer. Fantastic place to visit more then once.

Plenty of places to shop, eat, and play. Be prepared to walk and spend money. Hard Rock, Paula Deen, and man, many more place to eat!

Very fun spot for shopping, dining and/or a day out having fun. It reminds me a lot of Bayside in Miami. It’s an excellent spot for souvenirs!!! There are a lot of cute shops and restaurants to choose from. There’s a cute little amusement park as well. It was nice to walk around and people watch. There’s a nice selection of hotels within walking distance too. I cannot wait to come back!!!!

Definitely a highlight when you visit Myrtle Beach. From the little shops to the food spots and on to the activities there’s so much to do there for all ages

This place is very large with many outlets but the problem was many were not open. Not sure if it was due to COVID or thanksgiving week but nonetheless we had a nice time exploring. One thing you have to do here is feed the fish! They sell fish food on the bridges for $5 a cupful which is pretty expensive but you can buy generic cornflakes at Walmart for $1.50 for a huge box which they eat just as fast. There must be thousands of fish in that little area and they all are huge and just chomping at the bit for a little snack. You won’t be disappointed seeing them and the ducks go after the food. As far as the store prices they are average for tourist destinations. We bought my son 3 branded Nike t-shirts and a nice branded hat for a total of $110. It was pricey but I couldn’t find those customized shirts anywhere near us.

So many shops that will please everyone in your group. All levels and types of shops. Many restaurants and spots for a drink or an ice cream. Amusement rides for the kids too! Plenty of convenient parking. Nice boardwalk that is a full circle. Plan to spend the evening and do it all. Very clean and overall good service throughout.

The rides were great. No lines this time of year! Great shopping and many options of places to eat. Will come back!

I don’t get the attraction? It’s reminiscent of The Island in Pigeon Forge. Some shops, some packed restaurants, a few thrills, and terrible parking. There’s not one particular shop that attracts us, but the “touristy” rendition pulls us in. Just hit Tanger, then another spot to eat.

Awesome place top to bottom starts with breakfast, shopping and people watching during the day and a las Vegas style show to round out the night

It is a small town with parks and an amazing view of its beaches, its people are quite friendly and kind. The most beautiful thing you can see are the colors of the sky and the sea meeting at sunset, a rainbow that leaves you wondering how beautiful life is. Their food is delicious and the best of all is that you can enjoy it with your friends and family at a low cost. Myrtle beach is a little paradise

What an entertaining place! Shops, Food, Entertainment, this one stop has it all. Plan to spend the day here. The food varies from fast to fine. Shops are unique and touristy.

Something for everyone. Great atmosphere. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes and plan to spend a few hours here at least if not all day.

We read reviews that this is similar to Downtown Disney. At about half the scale I would agree. Most of the shops are souvenir shops so we didn’t spend much time in those. We were able to grab some Italian Ice though and enjoy time watching people feed fish and ride many carnival rides. The atmosphere was the most entertaining. I can definitely see how this would be a fun night life activity or date night.

Nice area to walk around, being off season some stores were closed. There was large variety of stores and restaurants were still opened. The rides were closed, so can tell you about them. We went to the Paula Dean restaurant for an early dinner, they only offer a family style dinner. Rated as a 4 because not everything was opened and the rides were closed as well.

The BEST thing about Broadway at the Beach in the summer is joining the dance party with Mr. Nigel (from Mr. Nigel & Friends)!! He is there every weekday evening and is usually located in the square between Build a Bear and It'Sugar. He is energetic, funny, and really gets the crowd engaged and having fun. We go to Myrtle Beach for a week every summer and we go to Broadway multiple evenings to be part of the free family friendly party Mr. Nigel provides from 8:00-10:00pm. Look for his party bus parked near the big slide entrance to Broadway at the Beach. We look forward to seeing Mr. Nigel again next summer!

Looking for something to do in the am. Had visited the market common earlier but perhaps out of season shops closed. Higher end shopping and restaurants, just not a good fit for us so we left and came here. Enjoyed slowly walking through. A much better fit for us. A variety of shopping and dining experiences to explore. Theme park adjacent so if you have younger kids. Give them something to do. You can easily spend a few hours walking through and even more time going to the theme park.

This is such a fun place to visit after you are done with the beach. There are plenty of restaurants and rides. They have a huge parking lot. So not everyone is wearing a mask. We did just to be safe. Its very crowded, even in the low season. We loved the ferris wheel and the upside wonderworks house. There is a little lake that the site surrounds. Its full of fish waiting to be fed. There is an opportunity to feed the fish and they know it. We saw Hard Rock cafe, senor frog, margaritaville and many more restaurants. There are helicopter rides for $20. Most of the shops are open. We also saw a distillery you can visit. There is the Ripley aquarium that has a new penguin exhibit. It was a pleasant visit.

We stayed at the Hampton at Broadway ant the Beach and loved it. We could just walk to everything and had a view of the whole place. Night lights were great and happy we paid a little extra for the view. Prices of everything are high so just be prepared. The kids love the rides and shopping. Fun filled day!!

Wow...it has been about 9 years since I was last to Broadway at the Beach, and boy has it changed (for the worse)! It was run down, with closed/vacant restaurants and stores. The restaurant we visited, The Grumpy Monk, was outright filthy and short-staffed (not blaming the staff for the condition of the restaurant). The fish in the lake are nasty. My husband went to the mens bathroom (behind the Backstage Mirror Maze attraction), and found one of the urinals have been defected in. I left feeling sad, because my memory was of such a nice, clean, and safe family attraction.

As a child and then a teenager visiting Myrtle Beach always centered around the pavilion on ocean boulevard (you should know I’m in my mid forties). Nowadays we usually head straight for Broadway at the Beach. There’s so much to choose from in the way of shopping, dining, attractions or just browsing through. Besides walking into all the unique shops, my kids will always ride a few rides or maybe take a trip to Dave and Busters. I have noticed however in the last 3 trips that the area surrounding the complex needs some immediate attention. It seems that those areas may have been staged for new businesses or attractions that never happened but now the landscaping just needs to be kept up. This may not grab anyone else’s attention because it’s on the outskirts of the parking area but it signals a struggling economy in a place that my family enjoys for short getaways. I also hope that someone would reopen the theater there. This is a great way to spend the day in Myrtle Beach so please visit and patronize to keep this area open.

You could spend an entire day here! There is so much to do and see, and so many stores- it's a fun place- rides, attractions, shopping, food, you can feed the fish- definitely check it out!
Myrtle Beach not once what it was…..
Have been coming to MB for over 40 years the entire area has really become much more run down (and no excuses due to post COVID) this has been happening over the past 5 years. Broadway had many stores shut down, cheap touristy type shops. Crappy food. Overpriced “entertainment”
We own a timeshare at the Sheraton will not be revisiting Broadway on any future visits.
Very disappointed MB!
