Amazing Ball Park!

By Debra E |

Minute Maid Park is a wonderful place to see a baseball game! The Astros are loveable with Verlander & Altuve. There's not a bad seat in the place. The restaurants and eateries are delightful and so plentiful. Go see a game, you'll love it!

Didnt won World Series, but won all visitors hearths.

By abeizaguirre |

Simple the best, maybe didn't win World Series but the professional and friendly people serve in this stadium deserve a trophy like MLB size gave to champions world series.

great visit

By Danbud |

We were given tickets to an Astro's game. Wound up being a great day to go, since they threw a no hitter. A rare occurrence indeed. The park is in incredible condition.

We arrived early so that we could get into the Honda area with a key fob. There are much more dinner like restaurants, not just ball park food, in this area. Also, there are fewer people and it is generally a nice area with plenty of table sitting and clean restrooms.

We sat in section 128 and it is a great place to sit just past first base. It is also past the edge of the net and a lady in section 127 was struck in the face by a hard hit ball. I am hearing now that they are extending the net further. Hopefully it will stop further injuries.

Overall, it was a great visit and we will go to another game if the chance appears.

The only negative is the cost of food and drinks. If you plan on eating here, bring 20-30 dollars per person minimum.

Pink concert

By Laura M |

This place is massive!! My only advise is go early leave early! Getting in and out of the place is nuts!

Astros Games are awesome

By Crypto G |

Im always going to catch a couple games a year. And those games are the playoffs. Best atmosphere in the city!

Minute maid park

By steve |

Park as great, travel in Houston is not great but taking a bus from the hobby airport to magnolia transit center then the train to minute maid and it will drop you off right in front of the park.

A Favorite.

By Dennis M |

I’ve seen a couple of games here now and this is one of my favorites. Good seating all around and I love how you can walk all around the park and still see what’s happening. Decent facilities for food and restrooms. We used ride sharing to get there and went for a nice walk downtown after the game. The Shooting Stars, cheer squad added to the fun. Even had fireworks on our night.

The Juice Box

By Montecore |

Love the location of this stadium and its a fun place to watch my Astros play. Its approaching 20 years old so I suppose in the world of "new" parks it may be a lil antiquated but still serves it purpose quite well

Cheaters apparently win

By Lead2829 |

We aren’t Astros fans because they cheated, but this stadium is something to see. The only real problem was that you couldn’t understand the sound system where we were. The dome was closed, so I do not know if that affects the sound. There are so many restaurants here. St Arnold’s brewery stand is awesome.

Billy Joel

By Bryant |

We are staying about an hour west of Houston in Brenham as my wife and I are retired RV’ers. We had a blast at Billy Joel concert but a couple things caught our attention. Perhaps it wasn’t the ballparks fault which was very modern and had a lot of originality with a train hanging over left field and neat brick facade. The seats were our row we’re supposed to be were just missing and ballpark staff refused to give us extra seats. They said that we had contract the third party ticket provider which of course wouldn’t have done anything in the moment. I’m not quite sure what happened to the seats but the staff could have definitely been more understanding and helpful. On top of that, I saw a lot of cockroaches in the bathroom making me think they don’t power wash the ballpark as often as they should. All in all, we enjoyed the concert without the floor seats that we paid for and standing up the entire time..

One of the best parks

By george t |

This is a great baseball venue, to both see a game, but also enjoy and take in the ambiance. The downtown area is also Nivea in the area of the park. Parking can be difficult depending upon how far you may be willing to walk.

Fun Event, But Sloppy Details Hold It Back

By S L |

I visited Daikin Park in June 2025 for a company event and had a generally good time, but a few issues stood out.

We had a private section, which was a nice setup, though the service was slow with just one server handling everything. The food was decent, but desserts like the tres leches and churros ran out early and weren’t refilled. The popcorn was okay, not super fresh, and the bar messed up my order.

Cleanliness could be better — tables weren’t cleared often, and the area didn’t feel well-maintained for a premium section. Also, the layout for suite and corporate seating was unclear, which made navigating those areas confusing.

There were also problems with the event photographers. The one taking photos with Orbit rushed through the shots, and the general photographer accidentally covered half the camera lens with his finger in some of the photos, which was disappointing for what should’ve been a nice keepsake.

Overall, the atmosphere was enjoyable and the experience was still fun, but better service, clearer organization, cleaner facilities, and more professional photography would really make a difference.

Best of Downtown

By judygK4219VR |

This sports venue as well as the Toyota Center are two reasons to,stay in downtown Houston. If you enjoy sports there are no more fun stadiums around.

Minute Maid Visit/ Houston Astros Game

By AD Young |

We went to a Sunday Astros game against the Red Sox. Rather disappointed because they played like they just didn't care....which ended with them losing.

Our seats were row 6 behind the media hole so we had excellent seats with a great view. Expect to really pay if you want good seats.

Bring alot of money if you want food and drinks. I bought a single 20 oz diet coke, and it cost me $6. A bag of crackerjack cost me $7 because the vendor never brought me my change. I cant even imagine what the food shops cost.

I visited a couple of the bathrooms and both of them had a weird smell like they just couldn't clean it out. I've been to other stadiums and know this is NOT normal. They might want to think about changing cleaners.

Baseball on my Birthday

By LIETIE |

It was an amazing experience. My first baseball game since I was a child. From the parking to the game it was such an amazing experice.

Surprising

By Enea M |

I got impressed by how big is inside. There are bars and restaurant and on Friday night after the game, the roof opens and there is a fireworks show.Situated in the middle of downtown and with many parking nearby is accessible from everyone.

Great stadium

By TheKngsMn |

Great place to watch the Astros. Decent food throughout the stadium. The food is a bit overpriced but expected in a sports stadium. Would come again to watch another game.

Great atmosphere for a game

By P601AHdavidb |

Buy tickets at the stadium, don;t pay those fees on line
Good seats are available at walk up. Gates open 2 hours before gametime, go and enjoy the visiting team batting practice.

Do not miss the fireworks show

By 2Jayhawkscdn |

Excellent baseball stadium with great views even in upper decks. The food and beverage choices are many. A loaded baked potato was a treat if you haven't eaten before the game but there are many choices. The roof was closed during game and conditions comfortable. They opened the roof after the game and put on one of the most impressive fireworks shows I have attended.

Love

By christine97dionne |

We loved our experience. Theres many beer and food stands so the lines move quickly. Clean washrooms, AC was on which was refreshing and security was A1 for innapropriate spectators

Fantastic Home of Houston Astros

By Austinroadtrip |

You must get here as soon as possible. Even if you aren’t a baseball fan there’s something for everyone

First major league game

By jen1192 |

Minute maid park is very impressive! We were expecting long waits with the amount of people that were there Memorial Day, but everything went so quickly. Everything is very clearly marked and easy to navigate. The roof was closed and the air conditioning had it feeling great in there. We were very happy with our first major league experience!!

Not a bad park, justnot special.

By Bruce S |

After seeing 28 of the baseball parks, this isn't bad. Its just not unique,, in the big picture. It is user friendly, nicely located and fun to visit. Food is not very creative, and of course very expensive.

Ridiculous drink prices and seating arrangement

By St_Matty |

We went here for the Billy Joel Concert. The queue getting in was bad, it didn't help that the Ticketmaster Website kept kicking us out and asking us to log back in, then we couldn't even connect to it. We were not the only ones having this issue.
We then got to our seat only to find they were not as shown on the map but further over. Add to the the space between the aisles was so small the the couple next to me got knocked over when someone was trying to get to their seat in the middle.
I went to get 2 drinks and paid nearly $70, later a single beer for $20 poured out of a can, how can you justify that?????
I'm giving this a poor only because I liked Billy Joel, otherwise it would be a terrible.
We will not be going back to this venue in a hurry!!!!

Best Ball Park

By Sue S |

Went to their first home game of the season. When they say everything is bigger and better in Texas they are not lying. Amazing team, great staff, and the fans are a ball

Great fun

By Tropicalmich |

We are visiting every baseball park. This one is a great one. Very intimate feeling. Reasonable priced seats had great views. Food and beverages like all parks are expensive, nothing unique here. Beautiful views.

Great ballpark

By VAFamilyof5 |

This was #23 MLB park for us. It compares favorably to the newer parks like the ones in Milwaukee and Miami. There’s not a lot of food options around the park. Food inside the park is about what you’d expect. No sit-down options. Our seats in the lower level behind 1B were OK but they let people go in and out way too much during game action. I’d recommend sitting behind home plate, even if up high.

spring for the insperty suite if you can

By noledba |

For our anniversary, we purchased Insperty Suite tix on the first row. We didn't know until we arrived, but the tix included food and all but alcoholic drinks. Very classy. Worth the $$$. Had a ball. (Pun intended)

Nice stadium!!

By Sergio_G_G49 |

The stadium is very nice, with good views of several places, we were at third base and the view was excellent. Surprisingly, the food prices are not high and it has good dining options.

Great Venue

By nlott414 |

Pretty good venue and easy entry access. Each corner has a point of entry for all attendees. Prices were averages. I spent time in my company suite. The food was great. Really enjoyed the game.

Very cool ballpark

By beth ann k |

We went to a game when the roof was closed, but you really don't notice that. The train is a cool thing for home runs, and there are LOTS of food and drink choice.

Still a 'feel like new' stadium.

By Jeff B |

I have been going to MMP since it opened. The food vendors are much improved with Shake Shack and Torchy's. Craft beer selection is great with St. Arnold's pub. Sight lines are pretty good all around the park. Even better when the roof with open with great weather.

Astros playoffs

By TeresaCassar |

Attended Astros playoff game in a box - good time. Food and service was good. The ice cream and treat cart is amazing!!!

World Series Contender

By Mark b |

Went during the world series. Huge lobby converted to an Astro's store. Nicely maintained and some photo shots are available from the outside.

Great venue!

By local3284 |

We have been here several times. It is a great ball
park to experience an awesome ball game. Highly recommend.

I couldn't see the dang concert!

By goldenmom62 |

I attended the Chris Stapleton/Miranda Lambert/Grace Potter concert. The artists and the music were fantastic! However, we were sitting by the stairs and for some reason, people were going up and down the stairs the ENTIRE night from the floor section. I couldn't see anything unless I stood up and because I'm short, I just couldn't see anything. This was the absolute worst concert experience I've ever had. Again, not the artists they were great - it was the venue. They shouldn't have allowed this. The other complaint is I bought two beers and spent nearly $50.00. That's ridiculous. I've added a photo so you can see what I got to look at the entire evening. People going up and down stairs.

Great Ballparks!

By prmom |

Every year our family visits a different ballpark and this year we attended two games at Minute Maid Park. We chatted with Alan, one member of the amazing staff who was so friendly and kind. We also did the ballpark tour with Janna (I hope I spelled her name correctly) and it was so informative. Fun time for all!

Astros Rock

By TheTravelBees |

No visit to H-town should be complete without a seeing the Astros Minute Maid Park (or the juice box, as locals call it). Put on your orange, arrive 20-30 mins early (take the rail or walk), be sure to have your ID & credit card in your pocket & get ready for entertainment GALORE! Torchys Tacos is a fave & is on the top floor! The nachos are also a treat (locals know) from the concession stand! Stick around on Friday nights for fireworks!

Above average ballpark

By Sandy |

Excellent park to watch the Playoff baseball! The torchys tacos stand was delicious. Also had plenty of nearby hotels to stay at and walk to the park. Great restaurants nearby for after game meal. Just wish my Yankees would have pulled off the comeback. Astros fans much nicer than I thought

4th of July week

By islandtimeon |

We love baseball and this ballpark was the perfect place for the 4th of July week. We watched the fireworks after the game which were some of the best we have ever seen and stayed cool in the dome during the game. Great seats anywhere you sit.

Top 5 MLB Stadium

By ripcordzz |

I’m not even an Astros fan (my wife and son are), but this is one of the best MLB stadiums out there. Love that weather has no effect on attending the game. The outfield lines are unique with high walls (Crawford Boxes) and a deep Center field. The food here is second to none. If you want to catch the visiting team’s BP, hang out around the Crawford Boxes for a chance at a baseball. Our some got two during BP over two days and a HR ball during the second game. Bonus - the Gallagher Club is great if you’re willing to pay the price. Staff all seems to be friendly throughout the stadium.

Astro’s game

By coachliston |

Attended an Astro’s while in Houston. Thank goodness it was in a dome with A/C. I found it difficult to find the escalators to go up to the upper deck. I like the idea of having a designated area to be picked up by Uber or Lyft drivers. I thought tickets were expensive compared to other stadiums I have been to.

Modern and Big

By Thomas V |

We came by to see this big sports park because it is famous and modern and is also located very close to downtown. A very poputal place to see a sports team compete.

An amazing stadium

By Jo M |

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Nearly every seat is a good on. The announcing was easy to hear and the video boards were easy to see.

Astros Watch Party was fun!

By NRJONES82 |

We attended an Astros ALDS Watch party. The crowd was smaller than expected due to it being a 1 pm game . The staff was friendly and helpful. The food vendor prices were a little steep but that was expected. The park is in GREAT shape for a 20 yr old ball park.

Best indoor stadium

By StrosLuv |

I love the stadium and of course, I love the Astros. Each level and section that we have sat in has different types of seats, for example, the Club level section 200 has seats that are padded. Another section we sat in above the huge jumbotron screen those seats don't have armrests. I do like or prefer the Club Level, it is a totally different atmosphere. In my opinion, the best food is found on the Club Level. All based on going to an Astros game.
We did also attend an Eagles concert here as well.

Super fun

By Marie D |

Minute Maid park is a great stadium. We went on dollar dog night to see the Astros. The hotdogs were delicious.

Interesting ballpark

By Clarabellenh |

I was excited to visit this park because of the unique features (like the train). Watching my Red Sox play on the road is a fun way to visit stadiums and see cities one may not have seen. We were sitting to the left of left field (not in the Crawford boxes) about 7 rows back. We had a good view of the field and people around us were very friendly. We all wore our Red Sox gear and had no problem at all with Houston fans. They were very cordial! Beer was outrageous and didn't try the food. We stayed at the Embassy Suites in Houston so it was a hop, skip and a jump to get to the park. We didn't have to worry about parking.

Fun time!

By Melissa V |

The ballpark is really cool. Bring your credit card, they do not accept cash. Food and beer was way overpriced, but that didn't seem to stop the fans from eating and drinking non stop!!!

Astros games

By fjs2084 |

I go to games with buddies every so often and I have never had a bad seat in the stadium. Of course if the roof is open and ur in the side the sun shining which is normally the first base line side then that might suck for you. But the enviroment is good it is kid friendly if you take the family. I've never had a bad time there unless my Astros loose of course. I hope you enjoy minute maid park if u choose to attend.

Beautiful Park

By astros |

This is a beautiful facility. They have great food and beer choices (Karbach). I always try to sit along the 3rd base line in the club level and I find adequate legroom.

ALCS Game 2

By GSRDPM |

What a great place to watch a ball game. With the roof closed it gets LOUD. Good for the home team, but BAD for the visitor! Usually....never mind this year's world series.... Not a bad seat in the place.

Love my Astros

By Lolyn |

Every time I come for a game either with my husband and adult kids or just with my husband we always have a great time. The three hours trip is worth it.

My favorite Ball Park in MLB

By jameswI138MD |

This park captures the charm of the old baseball parks in the major leagues, while retaining this charm in a new/modern park. This is a great family experience!!

Best stadium with the best team!

By Texas P |

Best ball park with the best team in the MLB. When the roof is open it is such a great vibe. The stros are the best!

Great venue

By Charles M |

Friendly, professional, courteous staff. Made the game just that much more amazing!! Our first time there!!

Nice park but not a Top 5 MLB Stadium

By Northern_Traveler00 |

Been looking forward to visiting the former Enron Field for awhile and our travels brought us to Houston so there we were! Big street festival before the game was fun, but the stadium itself wasn't as great as we had heard. $80 puts you up pretty darn high and the seats were the narrowest of the new stadiums we've visited. Concessions are VERY expensive, too.

Glad we visited, but Pittsburgh, San Fran, and others are well ahead of this park

Ray knows Vegas

Visiting all the major league baseball parks is a great way to see America. Houston Astros good time. Great chili cheese dog and loaded and I mean loaded bake potato

Mixed Experience: Culinary Delights Amid Cleanliness and Pricing Concerns at Minute Maid Park

By S L |

Minute Maid Park offers a mixed experience for baseball fans. One of the highlights of my visit was undoubtedly the variety and quality of the food available. From classic ballpark hot dogs to more gourmet options like barbecue and Tex-Mex, there's something to satisfy every craving. The food stands out as a definite plus in an otherwise average ballpark experience.

However, cleanliness was a significant concern during my time at Minute Maid Park. Throughout the stadium, there were noticeable areas that appeared neglected and in need of attention. This detracted from the overall enjoyment of the game and left a less-than-desirable impression. For a venue of this size and prominence, maintaining a higher standard of cleanliness should be a priority.

Another drawback was the pricing, especially for certain items like dipping dots, which I found to be overpriced compared to similar offerings elsewhere. While expensive concessions are expected at sporting events, the value-for-money aspect was lacking in some instances at Minute Maid Park. This could potentially deter visitors from fully indulging in the culinary delights offered.

In conclusion, while Minute Maid Park excels in its culinary offerings and provides a diverse selection of food, improvements are needed in terms of cleanliness and pricing to elevate the overall fan experience. Addressing these issues would likely increase visitor satisfaction and ensure that Minute Maid Park remains a top destination for baseball enthusiasts.

Go Astros

By don195219 |

We love Minute Maid park. This is a modern well conceived baseball stadium. Easy parking around the park. Concessions offer a wide variety of options. Highly recommended the Crawford boxed (left field).

Great suite experience

By USCKaboom |

I was invited to the park for game 7 of the series. Very fun experience. I’m not a huge baseball guy but definitely unique. Sadly Astros lost on their home turf. But the suite experience was a blast. The food is surprisingly good, though typical game food. They have dessert bars that come around. More sugar than you can imagine.

Kids day-Ran out of pizza top of 3rd

By Nnnbeagle |

This is our third game this year and they have run out of pizza or had more than 20 minute wait every game. Today takes the cake. How can you have kids day on a holiday weekend and run out of a kid food? Really poor planning. I get not wanting to have to trash food but really? By the third inning? Really?!?! Kids day? Tickets are 60+ and don’t have food for kids. Just bad planning. I’ll watch from home and avoid the lines and get food we want for one tenth the price.

Average stadium- noise overwhelming

By Claudette C |

The highlight of this ballpark is how friendly everyone is. When the roof is closed it is really claustrophobic- concourses too small. The sound is so loud that you cannot hear anything. No opportunity to chat with people. I wish they would tune it down a few decibels. It is uncomfortable. The seats are comfortable and food options are plentiful.

Great Ballpark with incredible food lines

By Gina P |

We had a group of 15 and we got tickets in the 100 level for a friday night fireworks game. The game was great, tons of homeruns. The views from the seats in section 132 were great for the game and fireworks. The only thing we disliked were the long lines for food. The bathroom lines weren't bad and they moved, both the mens and womens. The food lines took up to 30 minutes to wait to order and get your food. My recommendation is eat before hand so you can watch the game.

Love Dakin Park.

By RaeSam3 |

My first professional baseball game and will not be my last! Park is convenient laid out for anything you need, great seats and an overall great time

Ballpark #26

By Claudette C |

My sister and I are closing in on getting to all 30 ballparks and today was our day to visit Minute Maid Park.
The ballpark is older but in really good condition. The Diamond had some quirky angles. The roof was closed so we did not get to experience the park in the open air.
It was during pandemic (after they opened up baseball)so not everything was open. Hot dogs were abysmal but service quick. I liked the hall of fame. Some great names there.

Let's Go Astros!!

By MikeFaithBfromTexas |

Great Ballpark. Not a bad seat in the house. We absolutely love watching our Astros play here. Beer and peanut service all the way up to the nosebleeds! The park is constructed to be very compact in the aspect of not being spread out ensuring even the farthest seats have a fantastic view

Birthday Trip

By Toshah H |

I traveled to Houston to watch my O's play and the stadium is beautiful. Even the fans were nice even though I was rooting for the opposite team lol

Great place

By timclark03 |

I got cheap tickets from Fire Seats website definitely a day to remember. The astros went extras and won. $10 seats from their website made it worth it.

PERFECT BALL PARK !!

By Philip |

Not a bad seat in the house, climate is perfect, food is great. Club level is over the top, food, drinks, service.

Astros Game

By cynthiakovatch |

What a great venue! It is a beautiful structure that is amazing to watch a baseball game in. Light streaming in on the field in the evening is so pretty. The food is actually delicious and many vendors to choose from. It is clean, including rest rooms, which is quite a plus in large stadiums such as this. A pleasure to be in!

Beautiful stadium

By Suzannetherealtor |

We had a great experience going to Minute Maid park. All the seats had chair backs. Tons of choices of food. We got right in and out of there.

Father's day at the park

By CORNELL C |

Minute Maid Park is an outstanding venue. I don't believe there is a bad seat in the house. With the retractable roof closed, the temperature was perfect. Try the foot long chili dog with cheese and wash it down with one of the draft beers.

You should be ashamed.

By HawkseyWimbledon |

We went to see Billy Joel having travelled from London to see him.

We got there early to enjoy the atmosphere and have a few drinks.

We went to a beer outlet and we asked for a beer. What a rip off. $20 for an average beer. It’s simply totally “wrong”.

How can all of society enjoy a visit. I saw a family with two teenagers have to explain that they couldn’t have a drink or food because it was too expensive.

It was a shame because Billy was fantastic.

Ps. I only had one drink.

Astros Vs Rangers

By Hopefultexastraveler |

The line to enter was easy and fast. Everyone was friendly and we got to our seats with no problem. The food in the suites was amazing. I loved the ice cream cart. Would love to come back to a game in the future.

Fun Texas Rangers Weekend

By Kathy H. |

Our family recently returned from a fun weekend trip to Houston to see our Texas Rangers play the Houston Astros. Even though the Rangers did not win either game, it was still a fun trip. That being said, Minute Maid Park was a disappointment. The concourses are narrow and very dim, and with the large crowds the games had they felt claustrophobic at times. The sight lines were good however, and we felt close to the field. The Friday fireworks were also very good. While we were there we also took an Ultimate Fan stadium tour. We were very impressed. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered every question we had, although the jabs taken at the Rangers fans were not appreciated. But the worst part of the park without a doubt, were the Astros fans. They were some of the rudest and most obnoxious fans we have ever seen. They were extremely hateful. Constantly berating and booing us in our Rangers jerseys. They had absolutely no class whatsoever. That being said though, we do plan to return in the future to see a game or two. Go Rangers!

Beautiful Baseball Stadium!

By CindyR54 |

Great food and beautiful ball stadium. My husband and I took our young grandsons to watch the Blue Jays and had dinner there. We sat once on the first base line, low down and one in the mid-section of left field. I preferred the higher seats.as you could see more. We had nachos and hot dogs, all good. The only downside is that the wine was TERRIBLE. We went two nights, and had a glass each, both equally bad.

The ballpark staff were very helpful and friendly and it was really easy to get in and out, even after the game.

This is such a great baseball park and really great when the Astros make a home run and the train whistle blows.

By Patricia G |

This is a great baseball venue. The seats are great and it is clean and well cared for.
The best thing is to take in a Astro's game whether it is during the day or at night. They have a couple of tasty restaurants and of course snack bars. Their sport's shops have lots of great Astro memorabilia and sportswear. You don't need to worry about the weather because if it is too hot, they close the roof and keeps thing cool or if it rains, you stay dry.

1st game

By TravelFan0074 |

Loved everything about this place except:
The pizza served by concessions was a joke. The $1 pizzas at the store are much better
Traffic exiting the stadium is horrendous

ACLS Watch Party

By AL5J |

Great venue with lots of food and beverage choice. Only drawback to “The Juice Box” is parking but there is a workaround. Metro Rail offers FREE fairs to/from here and the UH Cougar Stadium for ticket holders on game day. Park at the Palm Center Transit Center to catch the Purple Line to take you to MMP. Get off at Convention District Station. Otherwise parking near the park will cost $25-$50.

Hard to go wrong taking in an Astros Game

By AldieBeard |

Consistency is the name of the ball game at Minute Maid Park. I believe it is one of the best venues in MLB to take in a game...and I’m not just saying that because the Astros finally won a World Series. Layout of the park is well thought out. Food and drink options are excellent. I’ve sat all over the stadium and it’s hard to find a bad seat. A friend invited me once to sit in the first row behind home plate. Now that makes it hard to sit anywhere else ;o). The train and the retractable roof, even the lobby of the old train station make this an awesome venue. Also check out their stores for buying Astros Merchandise...spectacular. Actuallly look forward to shopping in there.

Just okay

By Ricky M |

Crowd was way down, even on a bobble head night. Many showed, got the bobble head & left before the game.
Many seats in the outfield don’t have a good view of the replay videos. The sound is also very poor in the outfield.
The food choices are excellent!!
Get the burnt ends helmet!!
The stadium itself is gorgeous but many sections have the above section overhang so much that it’s not got a great view u less you are in a fairly close row.
Overall just an okay stadium, room for improvement!

Great Way to Spend a Friday Night

By DanielleD |

We had great seats for the game. Great drinks and food as well. Lots of stuff to look at while we waited for the game to start.

Loved the 4 bands I watched, hated the sound in that place.

By Alicia Z |

Poor venue for a concert. ESPECIALLY with the top closed. Distorted sound. Bathroom attendant #31 was especially rude yelling at all of us in line. Beer guy Michael Pena, extremely rude and argumentative, insulting the women in the bathroom line which took 45 minutes. But it was our fault according to Bathroom Attendant #31. . Their staff is not customer oriented. It's clearly all about them and WE are the inconvenience. I'm sure the baseball staff is way nicer, as we are just lowly concert goers. Oh and Michael Pena, beer guy, told me, I bet I make more money than you do. What does that have to do with anything.?? Won't be back

Watching World Series

By Cwallain |

During the last World Series, and this one why isn't the roof open? I would expect during nice weather you would open the roof. Whats it there for? open it!

Favorite stadium tour

By Michael Haynes |

The stadium tour $15 is worth every penny. You get to checkout the scoreboard, dugout and field and take plenty of pictures. Tour guide was a bit monotone but still a good time

Can’t see game

By ntmire |

We went to the Astros game August 18 and our seats were in section 156. There were no TVs available to see, so far that we couldn’t see the game hardly at all and there were no big TVs except one that had the statistics instead of showing the actual game being played !🤷🏼‍♀️Not impressed with this stadium compared to many more we’ve been to. They need a screen for people who don’t have the high dollar seats right upfront to be able to see the game, we were very disappointed!

Take Me Out To Minute Maid Park!

Minute Maid Park is not only home to our champion Astros , it is also home to thousands of Houstonians and guests who love this super clean, upbeat beautiful ballpark which features occasional fireworks and a fantastic train that blows its whistle and chugs across the far side of the ballpark every time a member of the Astros makes a home run. Completed in 2000, Minute Maid Park is in an extremely handsome structure with a retractable roof that is opened or closed depending on the weather conditions. You can be sure there will be no cancelled ball games because of weather. In busy downtown Houston, police officers direct traffic to minimize congestion around the park, but allow sufficient time to drive your car through crowded streets, park, and walk several blocks before you find your seat and, if you're an American, place your hand over your heart just in time for the National Anthem. Whether you're an American or a most welcome International guest, there just couldn't be any better place to watch a ball game and all the sideline entertainments than Minute Maid Park.

Nice park for a hot summer day

By DaleL19 |

I am a huge baseball fan, and the Astros were playing my team, the Orioles. This was my first time to this ballpark. The park and the area around it were very clean. It is an indoor park, which worked well, since on the day we went it was 100 degrees. Not a lot of flash to the place, reminded me of a large gymnasium, but as stated, it was clean and the people we interacted with were friendly.

A good spot to watch baseball

By Michael U |

Regardless your opinion of the Houston Astros "The Juice Box" is an impressive place to watch baseball. Opened in 2000 with a retractable roof Minute Maid Park sits downtown with plenty of parking and there really isn't a bad seat in the place. Loaded with local concessions plus wide concourses seats also seem larger than most, though a few more access points to upper levels would be ideal.

Great visit

By jbk51691 |

Visted Minute Maid as our 28th MLB baseball park. Loved that the roof was closed as it was 80+ degrees out and a pleasant 73 degrees inside. Nice park but nothing overly exciting about considering we have seen already 27 other parks prior to this one. Lots of parking available near the stadium for cheaper than parking further out. I think people panic and take the first lots they find. Lots of things to do after the ball game in the surrounding area. We walked down to Discovery Green Park and took in the sunshine and some artwork near the convention center. then hiked it back to the parking lot.

it's recommended

We went to the Astros' home stadium. A guide showed us around the field. It was amazing. This is the mound where Shohei Otani used to play for the Angels. Amazing. It felt so real. It was even more beautiful than it looked on TV. The inside of the stadium was stylish and clean. It was so cool.

Great time!

By WildHaireAdventures |

Attended an Astro’s game and really loved it. The ballpark is beautiful and I really enjoyed myself. There were ample restrooms and concessions. As with most stadiums, everything was pretty expensive, but I expected that. I can’t comment on parking, because we walked from our hotel. I will definitely return.

Drink prices at concession bars ridiculous!

By Bruno S |

Drinks at Minute Maid Park concessions are ridiculously expensive! Went to see Billy Joel last night - awesome performance! - but the cost of mixed drinks was a shocker! $38 .85 ea cocktail! Then they expect generosity with the gratuity! Anyway. Plan accordingly!

Impressive!

By pdSixty8 |

Minute-Maid Park opened in 2000 and designated as a state-of-the-art baseball stadium with a retractable roof. I have visited this place since the beginning and through the years seen many changes.

In getting here you will find numerous parking lots near the stadium from $20 on up. I noticed the surface lots off of Texas St and Prairie St a few blocks down is an excellent choice where after the game is much easier to leave versus those closer. You could also stay at a nearby hotel to avoid traffic completely.

It’s easy to purchase tickets online and have them appear on the MLB Ballpark App. Once inside and on a lucky day there may be a outdoor fan festival to enjoy with free stuff to do and get. Batting practice is early and fun for the kids except will see many adult men trying to get balls which ruins the fun. There are many items placed around the stadium to take photos or selfies with like the World Series “replica“ trophy, Mickey Mouse, and large cowboy boots. The new item is a large World Series Ring placed outside the stadium. There are many stores located in the stadium and sometimes will only find specific items on only one.

The Honda Club Level has been renovated into a grander environment with new food and drink areas, a new team store. It is also much more roomier but with same great view of the field. The Field Box Level is still the same but with a few new food vendors. There are teams stores located all around. The restrooms are not as nice and kept up versus the club level where many stalls and urinals were out of order. They felt more dirtier. The food options are also better on the club level so definitely worth the extra cost.

Overall the ballpark is very fan friendly and exciting.

Beautiful Ball Park!

By Furnman61 |

I live here in Houston but originally from NY, so i have 2 favorite baseballl teams. I must say of all the baseball parks I have been to around the country, Minute Maid is one of my favorite. Very clean and great food selection and many bars and restaurants in walking distance of the park. I also love the train that goes around the top of the park when the Astros hit a homerun. Cant wait to go back.

Good place to see a ballgame but not the Astrodome

By Michael J |

The price of beer is outrageous. I thought when Nolan Ryan rejoined the team he would lower the price as he did when he was CEO of the Rangers but it hasn´t happened yet. The seats are comfortable and the view, while not nearly as good as the Astrodome are better than some ballparks. The food is typical ballpark, but nothing to write home about. Forget about parking, its cheaper to take a taxi even from as far away as the Galleria where we stayed. Houston has no viable pubic transportation system. As long as the Astros play there we will keep going and hope for some improvements and lower prices.

Take me out to the ball game

By DeeGalando |

Clean and friendly. A great place to take the kids. Friday night if it’s not raining they shoot fireworks.

Baseball good, food horrible

By Sonny L |

I understand high ticket and food prices at Minute Maid Park. However the food should be edible and it was not. I got 2 sandwiches at Chick Filet booth and they were cool and 2 drinks were room temperature. All for a mere $29. Later I got a pretzel, peanuts and water for $18 and the pretzel was so hard I couldn't eat it. What a terribly poor experience.

Astros Game Visit

By wobble58 |

High concession prices are an issue, but I've seen higher at SF games. The game atmosphere is great.

Always a treat

By Yodatravel |

One of the premiere ballparks in the nation. The architecture is beautiful and the experience of a game here is incredible. Great food, not a bad seat in the house.

Houston Astros

By Dustie Latiolais |

Went to an Astros game on Sunday to celebrate our sons 9th Birthday! This was his first pro game and he loved it. He even got to run the bases after the game.

Fantastic stadium

By emsywemsy |

Recently visited, what a fantastic stadium. Not much to do directly around it but who needs that when there is plenty of food outlets and amenities. Took us 20 minutes to walk around the perimeter of the stadium which gives you an idea of its size.

Great Baseball Experience

By timtroya12 |

Nice baseball stadium with a closing roof on top. If you have a chance visit on Friday to watch a game and they also have fireworks or other entertainment programs. If you are lucky like me my friend got a vip ticket and we sat at the first row in front of the baseball field and could see everything. It is a great experience, especially if you are new to baseball.

Lots to See but a Little Pricey

By LeeAnn M |

It’s a great park for a fun day/night of baseball. I’ve always enjoyed it when the roof is open on a cool evening, because that doesn’t happen often in Houston during baseball season. But when the roof is closed, it is amazing to hear the crowd’s cheers. But yesterday was super hot outside and I am not certain the ac was even running. It was so hot inside the stadium. I give it a four Star because of the prices. A young family of four could spend a week’s paycheck just getting waters and snacks. They really should reevaluate their prices - like most parks/stadiums. But overall, it’s a great stadium with lots to see while you’re there for a game.

First Visit

By Delmar M |

We took the two hour tour and it was fabulous. Our guide certainly knew his stuff and a lot about the Astros. We got a great explanation on why the grass was being removed and the steps to reinstall prior to the start of the baseball season.

Excellent views of the stadium and done on the dirt and dug out. The visitors room was interesting.

We finished the tour in the over priced gift shop. But, having been in multiple stadiums, it was in line with most on prices.

They offer a 1 hour tour but this one was so much better with all the extras you see. Highly recommended. You will also learn a lot about the large scoreboard.

Had the Pleasure of Watching 2 Games This Weekend

By Dave A |

We sat in the 2nd row of the Crawford Boxes on Friday and in the 3rd row in right field on Saturday. Both seats were excellent. We had a great time cheering on our beloved Red Sox and good natured talking with very friendly Astro's fans. Food was surprisingly good. Staff was polite, friendly, and helpful.

Great ball oark

By Pachelbel63 |

Climate controlled park made watching a ball game on a very hot day much more pleasant. Great set up, lot of restaurant choices, and clean restrooms a plus!!

Enjoyable time from a rival fan

By lucasashby |

As a person who despises the Astros with almost everything in me, I must say their stadium is good. It is the perfect place to escape to from the summer heat. You can watch a good baseball game in an air-conditioned environment. There are many local food and drink options in the stadium that you can try as well.

A/C blasting

By Mo M. |

Very nice park with total A/C. Bathrooms were medium sized for the ladies could use some fans in there tho. Food stands needed more people to work it, poor guys. FYI: There are 2 lines at gate, one "long line" to check bags/totes (mainly women) and the "shorter line" with just your person (mainly men) the concourse was packed with all kinds of things to eat n' drink. Self service stalls were good with beer/water. Seats were ok, little crowded but decent. They do need more trash cans and recycle cans at like every stairway tho. Helpful stadium people. Overall very very nice stadium to visit.

Amazing Houston Experience

By SwansFanSydney |

Minute Maid Park is a great place to watch the baseball! Good food, plenty of scope and a great team store.

Not Covid safe though - huge crowds and no social distancing.

Not a bucket list place for sure

By Ellisu |

Nothing great of a stadium. Seats are hard and very uncomfortable, food and drinks are outrageously priced!!! Men’s bathroom lines were horrendous and replay board SUCKED!! Hardly ever did they show replays of anything. And and they had all entrances closed off except front so if you was coming from backside of the stadium you had to walk all the way around!! No signage or security to tel you this

No bad spot

By Jermaine H |

Great stadium STILL to this day! There is really no bad seat in the house to watch a baseball game!!!

WWE Royal Rumble 2020

By Cris T |

I went with my friends to watch the Royal Rumble. My friend got the tickets on a radio contest. I loved our seats even though we were not close to the ringside. We have the two screens in front of us and we were also very close to the restroom and the snacks. Most people park around the stadium. If you get early you can get a nice parking spot for 15 dollars near the stadium. Be sure to take your time and don't take bags with you. There is a lot of security around the stadium and there are very strict with all their policies.

Love It Here

By Waunderlust |

Love coming here to watch the Astros. Bathrooms aren’t the cleanest, it they aren’t the worst either. Love the 1/2 price draft on the last couple Thursdays!!!! Love the dollar hot dog Tuesday’s too!

Concession prices are rediculous

By Astros fan |

Took family of 4 to a Saturday afternoon game. Tickets + parking was around $500 for seats behind 3rd baseline. Two hot dogs, two drinks and popcorn was $40. Two dippin dots ice creams were $17. It is way beyond expensive to go to games anymore, and this was to see them play the lowly last place Orioles. I will probably never go back again unless they start offering some kind of discount packages. I have many better things i would rather spend $600 on for 3 hours of entertainment.

Baseball park

By Alexa S |

I always go here to baseball games to watch the Astros or the Shriners for children events. This is a great venue.

Astros vs. Padres

By Taylor M |

Great time with the Astros vs. Padres game. Clean place. Packed. Still felt safe because I am vaccinated (go get your shots). Too bad the Astros loss in extra innings. Wish that the upper areas had more food options and FORKS. Will always be back.

Awesomeness

By D_Phillips22 |

This ballpark is awesome. The best part is that it has AC! The Astros are a great team to see play! The must have hit 6 Home runs that night!

Excellent place

By Judy P |

Excellent venture for baseball and concerts. Experienced my first concert here (Def Leppard, Journey and Steve Miller). Good acoustics (stay in the third area of seats and you can hear better). Staff very friendly and helpful. Parking can be tricky and expensive. I stay in a hotel when going to Minute Maid it’s just more convenient. Love this place.

Some Tips for Enjoying Minute Maid Park

By OneEagle |

Having just watched 2 baseball games recently at Minute Maid Park, here are a few tips to help you enjoy your experience.
1) parking can be stressful. Depending on proximity to the park and who the team is playing. Cost can be $5 io $50 or more. You can use a parking mobile app and usually find parking for less than $10, some offering garage parking . Then you’re prepaid, you just park, no hassles. Although you may have to walk several blocks.
2) Minute Maid has a Torchies Tacos and a Shake Shack, both excellent, both there will be a line a mile long unless you are at the ballpark when the doors open and go get your food right away. There are other good options on the first level but it gets extremely congested as game time nears. Food options on the upper level are average to below average with long lines.
3) The seats behind home plate in the upper deck are a bargain especially the lower seats. You can see everything. But avoid the first 2 rows—there’s a railing that blocks your view of home plate.
4) Minute Maid is domed and air conditioned. But with the sun blaring down onto the roof especially in the upper level it can still get warm in there. Dress accordingly.
5) On dates with free giveaways especially shirts and caps confirm when gates open and get in line an hour or more prior. Some of the freebies are just for the first 10,000.

Headed to the Playoff Game

By Bryan Thym |

Going to see the Astros and the Rays. Wish I was watching the Oakland As but maybe next year. Minute Maid Park is a great place to see a game. Rain or shine, the game is going to be played.

Open Stadium

By ecc0130 |

It was great to be back at a baseball game. The stadium had the roof open, it was nice to feel the breeze.

Great time

By PNG81 |

Great time at the Astros game on Memorial Day. (except they lost) The ballpark was really nice and people were friendly and helpful. Parking was expensive around the stadium but they have no control over that

Stadtion Tour

By Roger W |

Since the baseball season was already over, we couldn't attend a game. But we have registered for a stadium tour. In two hours you will see various seats in the stadium and learn interesting facts about the Astros and the history. The tour was entertaining and as a sports fan there were also many interesting stories. Price-wise, the stadium tour was in the frame and therefore recommended.

Great Ball Park

By Steve W |

Going to a major league Baseball game is always exciting. We went to the Houston Astros Minute Made Ball Park for a game. That stadium is incredible. There are tons of food choices and it's very spacious. There is a real operational Train that blows the whistle and moves back & forth Everytime an Astro hits a Home Run. You'll definitely enjoy going here.

Beautiful Field

By Moved2Texas |

We were at an expo and got to see the field with the roof retracted. Minute Maid park is a beautiful spot in the middle of Houston. Looking forward to opening day in a few months!

Tour of the Astros Clubhouse

By ppettyHtown |

We are huge Astros fans! We have been going to games at Minute Maid ever since the stadium opened, including seeing one World Series game in 2005 and 2017!

So when we saw the opportunity to do a ballpark tour last winter, we did the general tour which was very interesting.

This month we decided to try the clubhouse tour which is more specialized and $50 per adult ticket with a small service fee via the internet. What a bargain!

Although we were not allowed to take pictures in the “locker room”, they really don’t have traditional lockers, seeing where all the players have their batting gloves, shoes, extra jerseys, was worth the price of the tour!

You see the disco lights Springer likes to turn on when he is in a party mood as well as chairs where the guys relax before and after a game. Each players area is different and seeing your favorite’s space is amazing!

There are other interesting things to see where you can take pictures including the batting cages, the press room, AJ’s office and the like. And you also get to go on the field, just not on the grass areas.

If you love your Astros, a great way to spend some time on a Saturday when the team is on the road!

Average American Ballpark

By tumbleweedchris |

Any baseball experience is usually 5 stars in my book, but this review is strictly about the ballpark. Minute Maid falls somewhere in the middle or lower tiers of ballpark experiences. Maybe better than Tampa but not quite as nice as Miami? The outfield gimmick is a train with oranges in it. Not exactly the splashiest gimmick. The food and drink selection are perhaps the best elements of this park. It has lots of decent food options (the Frito chili dog was particularly good) and they have local brewery beer options. I just wasn't a huge fan of the indoor experience here and the view from the window part isn't anything special. The fact that the Astros are good and cheap tickets are in the $40s doesn't help either.

Bobblehead Day

By ourfamilyof4_4-fun |

Parking is expensive but there is plenty available. We walked around the stadium while watching batting practice. There really is not a bad seat in the house. Lots of food choices, places to buy beer, and bathrooms, so we didn't have much of a wait for anything. We were a little disappointed the roof was closed, but it was still a great experience.

Play Ball

By jdsbiz98 |

1st time visiting the Astros park. Had an absolutely great time. Sat on the third base side. Park was easy to access. Love the train in the outfield. Great hall of fame walk to.

Astros vs. Angels

By Lutz_Carol |

I have been at the Astros stadium yesterday. Tickets booked online and used as mobile ticket on my cell phone.

The atmosphere was really good.

Online Ticket - 84$
Parking very near the stadium - 30$

Inside the stadium you can have plenty of different food and drinks

Loud, big noisy and great fun

By JohnSB3 |

Home of the Astros, Houston’s pride and joy and high achieving baseball team. I was there they day they wasted the Texas Rangers from Dallas. The park and the entertainment is everything I expected. Good facilities, lots and lots and lots of hype, and a good ball game too. Some come to see the game. I think a lot come for the excitement and to see themselves on things like the kiss cam. If the camera happens to rove onto you, and you know it has because you can see yourself on the big screen then you have to kiss the one you’re with. Some are more enthusiastic about this than others and that’s the entertainment. We also got music: Deep in the heart of Texas, led as a singalong, and endless replays of the plays of the day. As it was Mother’s Day, we had moms of the locally born players out on the park pitching to their sons. No emotional lever was left un-pulled.

Big, Bright and Shiny MLB Stadium!

By Robert S |

This is a real nice modern stadium - with a retractable roof for the hot Houston weather.
There are good sight lines everywhere and the concessions are superior.
We always cheer for the home team, and that night they had a great game, and won by a lot,
We usually try to go to day games, but this was a night game, and it was a little hectic getting out of the park and getting a ride home - but the Ubers are lined up and waiting.

Great Place To See A Ballgame

By johnpV4713TS |

This is a great place to catch a baseball game. The retractable roof allows the outside air in and great sunshine. The food is ballpark and the parking is good.

Beautiful Park with Friendly Staff

By Shelly J |

I love a ballpark any day but was especially impressed with the staff I encountered getting food. They didn't have any pickles for the burgers but were so excited to be able to make me happy with some jalepenos. They were just extra friendly which made me smile!

Good But Keep the Bathrooms Operating

By DaBigG |

Was here March 4 thru 6 for a baseball tournament. Stadium was great, food products was good but a little pricey. Paid Major baseball prices.
One horrible point was the bathrooms, and it wasn't the lines that aggravated me. It was they had some of them closed off where there was a crowd of people and one had to was a ways to find one that was operating. That's unacceptable!!
All in all a decent experience.

Gorgeous stadium

By speclkm |

We were able to watch our favorite team Red Sox play the Astros while we were in town. First time being at a stadium with the roof closed and air conditioning on. Lots of food options. Parking lots near by. Many available seat options. Clean stadium. Very nice experience!!

Second time to MM Park

By Steven L |

It's a nice place to see a ball game. I wish I could see a game here with the roof open and really experience that, but it was also nice to be in the air conditioning. Food selection was good. Left field makes the experience better. We love the short porch and the home run train is awesome. Disappointed that Tal's Hill was removed though.

Moosie at the ballpark cheering on the Astros!!!

By Dorothy M |

What better place to be on a hot Houston summer day cheering on the Astros! The indoor stadium is awesome. You can truly enjoy the game in air-conditioned comfort. The food is greatly improved. While you are there be sure to check out Torchy's Tacos for true Tex-Mex fare. Just being at the park is a great experience and the atmosphere is fabulous.

Astros baseball game

By BWinHouston |

It is a well-designed venue with many convenient food and beverage options. Really pleasant and fun place to spend an evening.

Another Great Ballpark

By Chris G |

The Astros stadium is a lively atmosphere with a passionate fanbase. The seats are a tad on the small side, but the stadium overall is well done. Lines looked long for getting through the gates, but they moved very quickly. The roof was closed when we were there which was very nice considering the heat and humidity outside. A great place to watch a game.

what happened to cashis king?

By rnan58 |

i am one of the few people i suppose that like to pay cash for smaller purchases 30 dollars or less. minute maid is cashless.

Nice ballpark. REALLY EXPENSIVE CONCESSIONS.

By Rinate |

Nice ball park. Tix were not too expensive. The venue is awesome. Lots of places to get food/drink & restrooms. Depending upon where you are sitting, you may have some obstructed views. The stairs to the upper deck seats have plexiglass sides so you can see through them from your seat. We were not in these seats but were next to people who were. There was enough open seats for them to move. If you're on a budget, you can get upper deck seats (1st or 2nd row) between home and 1st (very good seats) for very low price.

Most games are at night & you don't need to be worried about walking through downtown to get back to your car. There are a few homeless people in the area. Many ask for $ as people were leaving but there are so many people around, we felt very safe. We parked ~8 blks away. You can park close to the field if you go early (~1.5 hr before game). Rush hour could be ongoing so select your route accordingly

Eat before you go. The food is expensive. You're allowed to take in a 1 gal clear plastic ziplock bag with food and a bottle of water. Fill your bag up with peanuts/cracker jacks/popcorn to save big $$$ (read more on Astros website). There aren't many places near the park to eat at in casual dress. We ate at Franks Pizza (~10-12 blocks from ball park). I talk more about Franks in another review.

Everyone is required to go through security/metal detectors and bags are checked by security. There is a bag size limit. Look online on the astros website for size limits.

Had a blast

By Randy |

We had a blast going to my first Astros game. What a great ball park. The food on the level we were on was great.

15 minute experience is a must

By Rodrigo V |

Unless you are a die-hard Astros fan and want to get to know every hidden corner of the Stadium, the 15 minute tour is ridiculously cheap and you'll spend a good 25 minutes getting to know the Park and the warning track on the field, the tour lady was amazing, I strongly recommend this activity.

Great Ballpark!

By JimMac62 |

Minute Maid Park (aka, “the juicebox”) is an underrated gem of a place to watch a baseball game. Great sightlines with seats close to the action, wide concourses and a good variety of food choices. The park doesn’t look it’s twenty year age as management makes improvements on an ongoing basis. The team of Jim Crane and Reid Ryan value their team’s fans and are always looking for ways to enhance the experience.

Rays fans but we felt welcomed, one of our new favorite stadiums!

By Pensacola Critic |

What an awesome park! We were so impressed with how easy it was to park close buy, walk right in the front and within a few minutes we were in our seats. We loved the retractable ceiling, and were thankful it was closed during our day game. I loved the ease of grabbing our park food. We will be back!

Beautiful in every detail

By Liz Aulsebrook |

We attended an Astros game in the summer of 2019. Even though the stadium was full, it was easy to get in and find food & our seats. The net that protects spectators from flyaway balls is not obtrusive. The place is air-conditioned! Wow. Altogether a stellar place.

Go 'stros!

Went to our first home game since the pandemic. Had a wonderful experience. Lots and lots of places to try. Stadium was very clean and family friendly.

We watched the Shriners Hospital College Classic. The seats were comfortable. It was perfect weather. This would definitely be the best entertainment on a Houston Trip.

Go Astros!

By Colette R |

Clean and tidy facilities and great kiosks in easy reach of the seats.
Amazing venue, great fun and a great sport.

Great Fireworks On and Off the Field

By David L |

We have been at Minute Maid Park the past two Fridays, They have fireworks after the game on Fridays, and this year the fireworks have been spectacular. Two weeks ago, we at ballpark food and other than being ballpark priced the pulled pork was quite tasty. This past Friday, there were fireworks during the game as Astros hit back to back to back home runs to win the game. Always a good time at the balklpark.

Good ballpark tour

By Martha Jones |

My husband is a huge Astros fan and thought this would be a fun thing to do before Father’s Day weekend. I would recommend doing the All star tour which gives you access to the dugout, media press boxes, team Clubhouse and suite VIP boxes section. The tour guides aren’t great but do provide some neat information about ballpark. They are very pushy though about moving along and didn’t provide sufficient time for photos or offer to take photos for group. With everything being very expensive, we thought this was reasonably priced ($25) per person considering the amount of things we got to see.

Loved it!

By Toni M |

Great people, great fans. Easy access, right downtown. The physical plant is very impressive while remaining somewhat intimate. Concessions were well spaced
Food was very good.

a very a-peel-ing & fruit-i-ful park

By MelissaWP |

We were able to purchase very close parking in a garage directly across the street for an affordable price. The ballpark is large with wide concourses, lots of food choices, and great areas with tables/chairs to eat. It was also very nicely decorated with a great overall ambiance. The BEST part is the retractable roof and air conditioning, which made the entire day at the ballpark SO cool and comfortable. We were just in heaven actually watching a 1:00 ballgame in the summer under such cool and comfortable conditions unlike what we are used to sitting in the hot sun and sweating while feeling uncomfortable. We were amazed! We were also astonished by the super friendly people, both staff and fans that we stopped to chat with. The only thing that gives this place one point off is the huge traffic jam we were stuck in for nearly 30 minutes when trying to leave after the game.

Nice place

By David C |

Went to the the Astros-Cubs game. Parking was abundant and wasn't as high as many other places I've been. Nice interior and plenty of concession areas and restrooms. The concession options were numerous (and service was on par with other stadiums), but it was a little higher than other ballparks.
Exiting the stadium (physically) was crowded, but not uncomfortably so. The worst part was leaving the parking area and hitting the interstate (less than half a mile trip to the interstate took more than 30 minutes), but this could've been an anomaly.
I almost forgot, the ticket buying experience was great. My agent was very nice and helpful.
Overall a very nice experience.

Nice park

By Ben H |

Next stop on our tour “Minute Maid” park. What a fantastic park. Sat in club seat on 1st base on $1 dog night. The park offered many nice restaurants with a variety of foods to pick from. Bathroom facilities were clean each time. Seats were wonderful. If you can swing the cost of club tix, they are most definitely worth it. If for no other reason, no lines for the bathroom.
Enjoy this park, it’s a gem!

Center Field Tour

By Jim C |

It has been many years since we last visited the then-newly christened Minute Maid Park for a tour. We decided to take the more comprehensive two-hour Center Field Tour this time, which turned out to exceed all expectations. Lee, our charming and excellent guide, took us behind the scenes throughout the facility while sharing the history of the Astros and their journey from the Colt 45s Stadium to the Astrodome to Daikin Park today bringing back fond memories of following the Astros since I was a young lad. This is an outstanding tour. Thank you Lee and the entire tour team for being such wonderful hosts and sharing your passion for the home team.

Astros ballpark

By Gilbert Valentine |

The stadium tour was pretty good just didn’t get to go into the Astros dugout as mentioned online. But seeing the press boxes, executive club, and going to center field was pretty neat. There is TONS of cheap meter parking close by so wouldn’t use the expensive lots close to ballpark. The line to enter for the ballgame was fast and signs were accurate. The food was okay nothing really special and expensive but the drinks were much better. Staff was helpful and very friendly.

Friday Night Fireworks

Great ball park with good food and friendly ushers to help direct you if you need it.
I am sure we will be back. Just hope it’s soon.

Everything great except parking

By Rose Marie W |

We went recently on $1.00 hotdog nite. Parking was a real bear. Ending up in a $10.00 lot two blocks away, guess that’s not too bad. The game was great, with the Astros usually coming from behind to win. The air conditioning was good, far better than a open air stadium. Lots of fast flowing beer and good eats.

Great to go game with family and friends, just really uncomfortable temp

The stadium is beautiful, good views of the field….but really hot in the stadium, the concourse was cool not the stadium

Minute Maid Park is terrific. The security lines to enter were kind of long, but they moved fairly quickly. The park is super clean. Vendors do not cruise the aisles like they do in just about every other stadium I’ve been to, so that means food and beverage lines inside the park are a little long. It doesn’t seem like there is a bad seat in the park. The fireworks after the bane were great!

One of a kind ballpark

By Ryan Campbell |

Came here for the college classic between LSU and Texas. Had a great experience and stadium is modern yet has a old school field with brick and train running through left field. The food was very good but a bit expensive, we also did the all star tour which gave us access to dugouts, press boxes, and scoreboard early in day. Very good tour for photos and families, although tour guide was a bit mean

Minute Maid Park Tour

By FunnyMan |

Before the record setting World Series we paid for a tour of minute maid park. The tour guide was excellent. The tour took a little over an hour and was well worth the time. We were able to see and visit what most never get to see when attending a game. Record Setting--ONLY WINS AT HOME. Never happen before for TEAMS THAT PLAY A SERIES--MLB, NHL, MBA.

Beautiful ball park

By Dr Stephen |

I have attended numerous baseball games at Minute Maid Park, and always have a great experience. Every seat is a good seat, and thus you can choose to suit your budget.

Everything is maintained in immaculate condition, and if you live the game, you’ll have a great experience here.

Walking distance from the downtown hotels, so an easy stadium to attend.

Take me out to the ballpark

By Jonathan D |

Great ballpark, very family friendly. Great crowds, very friendly employees. Great interaction with the fans throughout the game. Very loud - which was cool. My son got two autographs.

Wonderful day as usual

By Sergio P |

Bought tickets and parking online using the app and worked nicely. The parking spot was ready, hassle free. Lines to get in were short even though the stadium was full. Plenty of food and beverage stands, short lines. Screens everywhere so you don't lose any plays. It was a great experience.

Nice ball park

By Steve B |

Enjoyed the game. Varied food choices, but expensive as would be expected at a professional sports stadium. Easy access to seats. no significant crowding.

Our Favorite Ballpark, and You Can Bring in Food and Drinks

By volcanogirl |

We've been to several stadiums around the country, and this one is one of our favorites. Love the retractable roof so you can enjoy games in the beautiful open air environment, but then have it closed as the heat of summer encroaches. We had the chance to attend game five of the World Series, and now we have a mini season package. The team is always fun to watch, and the fans are friendly and well behaved. There are lots of great food offerings from Shake Shack to Torchy's Tacos and ballpark hot dogs, as well as beer from the local St. Arnold's Brewery. They also do themed foods for each visiting team, so for the most recent Red Sox game they served up tasty lobster rolls. We really like that there's always something new to try. Concession prices can be high, as with any ballpark, but you can bring in your own food as long as it fits in a gallon Ziploc bag, and you can also bring in one bottle of water per person; it's a great way to save some money. We always bring our own peanuts and drinks. Parking is available in lots around the stadium for around $15. On Friday nights they have a wonderful fireworks display after the game. There are some great photo opportunities in and around the stadium as well. Outside the stadium there's a giant World Series replica ring, and inside there's a large gas pump that keeps a home run count. There's even a train that runs around the top of the stadium when the Astros hit a home run. If you're a baseball fan, this stadium is the perfect place to catch a game.

Love this park!

By Lynn S |

Our family loves going to Astros games here. Even the top row of the park is still not a bad seat. I remember going to the Astrodome and sitting at the top and not even being able to tell the players apart. It's a great place to see a ball game and there are few bad seats in the park. We go to several games per year and will continue!

Great feeling being there!

By 671perlan |

This was the last day before the World Series. My sister and I had just finished watching an exhibition game at Rice University and decided to go site seeing in Houston. We decided to go to the Minute Maid Park just to check it out. It is a huge baseball park......and so clean. We were looking to see if there was some type of souvenir we could take with us that had to do with the World Series.....not a piece of paper on their property or the street.... nothing, zipo, nada,.....we did get off our vehicle and walked a bit. Now it is such a beautiful huge building from the outside can you imagine the inside in which we did not have the privilege at that time.because it was late at night....It was fun just being there.... When I left the next day I happened to pass by it on the expressway and was amazed how huge it really was.....Thank you Houston!

Astros Angels games

By Laura K |

Attended first game at Minute Maid park, 8th mlb park so far. Was unsure what time gates opened but found them open 3 hours prior to game. Promotional giveaway was bobblehead which was very nice. Went down for batting practice some ushers were friendly others were not. Inside stadium is very nice. Lots of long lines for concessions. Souvenir cup has free refills.

Really nice experience

By Phil M |

We are in town for a conference and decided to take in a game. Our hotel was a short walk away. The stadium was well laid out with lots of very good food and drink options. The roof was closed, which it is most of the time, so weather was not a problem. Our seats were on the second level and the views were awesome. I cannot stress enough how nice the staff was. I really liked how they had soda machines set up for customers to refill their own souvenir cups. Food and drink prices were comparable with other stadiums and again the options were very good. The area outside the stadium was very nice and seemed to be pretty safe in general (all downtown stadiums have some issues). A very enjoyable experience .

Summer Baseball

By John N |

Went to the Astros vs. Orioles game on a Friday night. This place has a great atmosphere to watch a ball game. The options for food is many and quality is above average. Seats were down the 1st base line. The views are good from there.Overall nice place.

Star Wars night with the Astros

By deepsea285 |

We had a fantastic time at the Friday night Astros game in Minute Maid park. The game is obviously the focus but the off field activities and side venues make it a memorable destination. The food of course is amazing with flavorful offerings from bbq to a bourbon bar and everything in between. We have been to many games and have only sampled a fraction of the eateries. There is also several alternative viewing areas of the game. One is along the outfield promenade (Astros way), along the stairs in straight away center field and in various bars adjacent to the upper decks. The final cherry on top was the Friday night fireworks after the game. They open the roof and launch them from behind center field - bursting almost directly over the field.
In my opinion, the only detractor would be the cost. Tickets run the gambit from reasonable to astronomical. Parking can be found for $20, food is $10-15 per person, drinks about the same, and it’s easy to drop a bunch in the various team stores. It is a worthwhile destination, just not affordable to be able to attend more often.

Fun Night at the ballpark!

By EaglesFan27 |

I hope to see all 30 baseball stadiums one-day, but this is now one of my favorites. It seems so massive especially with the roof closed. I walked around throughout the game for different vantage points and there really wasn't a bad spot. With the team's recent success, the fanbase was really into it.

A Fun Night at the Ballpark

By volcanogirl |

We love coming to Daikin Park. For our most recent visit, we saw the Stros win in extra innings in a really exciting game - love that Carlos Correa is back with the team. We signed up for MLB Go Ahead Entry on the app. and were able to use a much shorter devoted entry line. Highly recommend doing that since the lines to get into the park can be long, and we were able to breeze right through. The stadium is really nice and has a retractable roof; it's usually open in April and then closed once the summer heat kicks in. You can bring in one sealed bottle of water per person and also a clear gallon-sized bag of snacks. Only small purses are allowed. We ate bbq at the game from a field level spot called The Butcher, and it was excellent. Also really like Shake Shack, and if you want to be more traditional, the hot dogs are good. Great local beer is available at the St. Arnold's brewery stand. We had seats along the third base line and had a nice view of the huge scoreboard. If the Stros hit a home run, there's a train that runs along a track at the top of the building. We were lucky enough to see it go. If you come on a Friday night, they have a beautiful fireworks show after the game. Parking is more expensive the closer you are to the stadium; we usually pay around $30. Overall we had a great time and look forward to coming back. Hoping the Stros will make the playoffs again this year.

Minute Maid park is a modern park with all of the great amenities. Food options are good unless you are vegetarian. Great atmosphere and fun times.

Great Ballpark

By Fred M |

While visiting the Houston area we decided to catch a game since the White Sox were in town playing the Astros. Thjs is a Great Venue to see a ballgame. Had some great local craft beers and plenty different food choices. I must say the Astros fans were great and treated us well. Highly recommended!

Crowd atmosphere not as we expected

By Amanda R |

Seeing a baseball game is worth the effort. Just people watching is fun. The venue is impressive, and entry streamline. However, the food is very basic and the beverages are a 100% more expensive than elsewhere. We were surprised at the lack of atmosphere. But a fun experience.

Minute Maid Park in Downtown Houston

By Jerry C |

Minute Maid Park in downtown Houston has the feel of an older traditional baseball stadium. It is a must see on any visit to the area. Don't miss the art gallery featuring a western theme.

Nice ballpark....easy access and parking.

By Dana h |

I am a die-hard Fenway Park devotee, but need to give Minute Maid its due. This park is not a cookie-cutter ballpark and has some nice and unique features. Most of the Astro fans were quite friendly and welcoming and they had some nice food options and the beers were much less expensive then at Fenway. We will definitely be back....when the Sox are in H-town.

One of the best ballparks in the country!

By TXToad |

Simply a fantastic ballpark for baseball. The retractable roof ensures that you will be comfortable for whatever the event or weather. There is really not a terrible seat in the place with price ranges for a wide range of budgets. Concessions are not as extreme as many parks, however, not a bargain either - with the exception of $1 Dog Tuesdays. There is a lot to experience simply walking around. Plenty of parking - easy in and out. And right now, the Astros are a lot of fun to watch!

Only one night in Houston

By MudmanDan13 |

Only had the one night in town so decided to go to a ball game. The park was awesome and very clean. It was super easy to get to and find parking close by. I can’t wait to take my kids here.

Poor venue for anything

By Mike C |

$15 beer /$60 local parking were highlights of the venue. Venue had poor sound, terrible $14 nachos, poor acoustics, no crowd control, no line organization. Just a free for all. See a concert anywhere else!!

1st hand experience - awesome stadium

By Rob W |

As someone who used to work for the Houston Astros, I will start by saying I am a little bias when it comes to the park. The seating is good. The announcers are good. The game-time entertainment is far superior to the Texas Rangers. The atmosphere can make you the proudest Houstonian - especially during the playoffs. And can I say... Air Conditioning?!?! How awesome is that to watch a game in the AC. The food/drinks is to be expected along with the prices. If you have a chance, take a tour, it is worth it. There are a lot of areas not generally visited by the public that you will be able to see. There are a ton of stories worth mentioning - Hurricane proof glass that has sustained damage in the past, the building of the stadium and transition from the Astrodome, the roof and how the motors all work together to open/close, the train, the time the American Idol competition was held there, etc. So many awesome stories that will give you a new view to an already awesome place.

A decent venue for a stadium concert

By P.C. |

I was there recently on 8/19/2022.
It was a multi bill concert that had
1. Joan Jett and the Blackhearts.
2. Poison
3. Motley Crue Reunion
4. Def Leppard.

The show was great until, Def Leppard. They were horribly boring and lacked the punch that Motley Crue and Poison had. They should never have been the headliner and should have followed Joan Jett and Motley Crue should have been the headliner as they stole the show from Def Leppard. Thousands of people were leaving after the 3rd Def Leppard song. They've lost their magic a long time ago and really need to retire

About the stadium. the seats are narrow and hurt. Not very comfortable in the cheaper seats. However, if you purchase section 200 all the way down to the floor, the seating and comfort is much better.

Very Nice Ballpark Even for a Yankees Fan.

By Richard K |

My family was in Houston for the 50 anniversary of the moon landing. My 12 year old son and I are visiting all 30 major league ballparks. We went to see the Astros play the Texas Rangers. The game was very good. There were 3 home runs hit in 3 consecutive at bats by the Astros. Parking was easy to find and not too expensive. The stadium has a roof which is nice in hot humid Houston in July. The food is good with plentiful options. Nice ballpark and experience, even for a Yankees fan.

Great time

By Minsk2014 |

got invited to attend a local baseball game being somebody thats not really into sports i was a little unsure. went along with an open mind which i always try and do and i loved it . plenty of food venues and drink stalls inside grabbed a beer and a burger sat down to enjoy the game .what i like about the Americans is any sporting event is a family occasion which i feel is great and this place caters for the single person and the family . you dont have to be into sports to enjoy this go along give it a try

Return Visit

Again, this park is clean! Consider all the people in this park! Amazing! The queue to get us safely in and quickly out of the stadium is well organized and appreciated.

Great Ballpark, Lot's of Good Memories

By Tom W |

We went to Discovery Green this weekend and passed by Minute Maid Park.

I have been to many games and had lots of great memories here.

The outfield entrances have a lot of great exhibits and memorials.

I really enjoyed the Pennants and Yearly Team Awards. Year 1986 with Cy Young winner Mike Scott was one of my favorite teams.

It was neat to see plaques of Daryl Kile, Nolan Ryan and Jose Cruz.

Union Station store was open.

We want to come back for a park tour.

One of the best baseball stadiums

By RjRp2014 |

This stadium have a good vibe, they have a nice sound also they perform a really good show for the home runs... the people are really involved with their local team

Great atmosphere

By Tammy_Lynne90 |

Great atmosphere with the train. View from seats was awesome, sat in level 3 and 4 in front row both times and it was fantastic! The fireworks on Friday nights game were phenomenal! The way they open the roof and the shot the fireworks blew my mind!!! The fireworks alone made the night! Soo many food choices, I recommend Pluckers chicken, and the gigantic baked loaded potatoes from the Butcher shop! The staff are very friendly and u felt like you were at a hometown game despite being such a big city! The only complaint is the seats themselves need a serious upgrade. They are uncomfortable, lots of rips in them, and we saw some that were broken. Awesome experience!!

Sports Park in the Center

By Thomas V |

It's a very popular sports park and a good place to see a game. Located in the center of town with all sorts of freeways all around. And you will find bars and restaurants nearby.

Fun Times

By lorigarza1020 |

We always have a great time at Minute Maid Park! Lots of food to chose from, and plenty of bars to get cocktails. We got standing only tickets for the last game we went to, and it was pretty fun, walked around and saw lots of fun surprises (photo ops) around the park, and even scored some good seats at Torchy's Tacos bar area!

Baseball Stadium

By Juan Carlos H |

The outskirts of the stadium are very nice, inside is quite a sight, closed, with Air conditioning that if when there are many people feel hot and more in summer. Really the structure is very elegant for a ballpark. The match is all a show

By vodvix |

It’s a nice ballpark with some nice offerings. It was ridiculously difficult to find non-alcoholic beer. The staff couldn’t direct us because they had no clue. Very frustrating. One visit was enough for us.

Overrated

By rochwitt71 |

I've been to a few ball parks. I can honestly say this one was the worst. For a dome it was burning up inside. We sat on the 1st row of the 3rd deck and could not see for the 4ft tall rail in frt of us. Eat before you come a Hot dog meal is $18 before the $6 drink. Just crazy after $60+ tickets.

Perfect weather inside!

By JP |

It was 105 degrees outside and a perfect 80 inside. Great baseball environment and great weather all the time.

Texans @ Astros

By Paultskenny |

2nd visit to the ballpark and thank you for an air conditioned enclosed venue! Lovely ballpark but only gripe is the overpriced food and drink (however this is the case with most ballparks I’ve visited). Good atmosphere generated and thoroughly enjoyed the game.

Fun at the park

By Deehi |

Went to a Astros game and had a great time even with a loss. The food selection is outstanding with so many choices for every taste. We had shared bbq meat on taters version of nachos in a cute souvenir Astros cap. Delish and so much to be able to share. There's photo ops with the big baseballs in front of the park and Mickey Mouse inside. The home run scoring train is always a favorite at Minute Maid.

World Series home games and playoff games

By frankhoustonTexas |

Ball park was packed but all systems were go ! Excited fans and concession stands were fully operational and the workers shared the crowds enthusiasm. While disappointed in final outcome it was great to have a World Series contender ! If you are visiting Houston Ball Park is worth a trip.

A don’t miss when you’re visiting Houston

By Cranean |

What a beautiful ball park! It was very clean and lots of great local food options! We stopped at the Truck Stop before heading over, which is only a few blocks away. The ball park is enclosed so need to worry about the hot Texas sun!

Love this park

By Ashley Reesor |

I have visited 12 ballparks. even thought the Astros are my home team, I’m not biased towards their ballpark. It’s well laid out and the food options are great. I enjoy sitting on the first base line, in rows 20-29. Great views and chances for foul balls.

Enjoyed a great game.

By Real Live |

This was my second baseball game and I was with a date. We were a little late (traffic was crazy), getting in going through security, and finding our seats was easy. The staff was helpful and the game day experience was very good! Probably will be going back sooner and more frequently!!

Great Seats Sec 124 Row 30

By Sheri M |

We went to 2 games so far this year. One game we sat 30 rows behind home plate. I thought these were great seats until we went to the next game and had seats in section 124 behind dugout and up from 1st base. Unquestionably these were great seats. We were also 30 rows up but we could see the whole field and the seats were much better than behind home plate.
They cost $98 and well worth the price. Went on dollar dog night which was a real bargain. We took 2 bottles of water with us, which is allowed and ate 3 dogs a piece. Love my Stros.

A day at the ball park

What a stadium , what a game. We’ll worth the visit to see the Astros play a Major League Baseball in a major league ball park.
Try the Crawford dog and ale.
Friendly fans and staff.

Awesome Evening!

By cooker72 |

We have been to Minute Maid numerous times, but this was our first time sitting in the Crawford Boxes! What a great place to sit!! Section 102 was perfect......close to concessions, entrances, and restrooms! Also the possibility of catching a ball exists! It also helped that we saw an wasn’t and exciting game!

A Must-Visit for Baseball Fans! ⚾️💙

By Traveling By Teresa |

We’re huge Astros fans, so it’s hard not to love a ballpark — and Daikin Park absolutely delivered! Baseball parks are our happy place, and this one had an incredible atmosphere from start to finish.

🎟️ Admission Fee: Prices are reasonable for the experience, especially considering how close you can get to the action. If you can, splurge on the Gallagher Club experience — the seats, food, and views are worth it!

⏱️ Length of Visit: Plan to spend 3–4 hours here to fully enjoy the game, grab food and drinks, and soak in the stadium energy.

🌤️ Atmosphere: Energetic and fun, yet family-friendly. Even on a rainy day, the vibe stays high. (Note: if it’s raining hard, the retractable roof can let a bit of water in if you’re sitting in the outfield.)

👥 Crowd Size: Busy, but in a good way — fans are excited and friendly, making it a great environment for all ages.

🙌 Staff: Helpful, upbeat, and organized. Everyone we interacted with made the experience smooth and enjoyable.

💫 Experience Tip: If you’re a baseball lover, book the pregame tour! It’s such a cool behind-the-scenes experience and makes you appreciate the game even more.

Whether you’re cheering for your team or just love the game, Daikin Park is a fantastic place to catch a ballgame. We’ll definitely be back! ⚾️💙

Astros home base!

By Gina E |

There’s not a bad seat in the house. Lots of food selections! Love cheering our team! We never park in the area, which can cost $30 -$100. Instead take the rail from north or south transit centers. It’s $1.25 each way, safe and usually very clean. Train stops are just a block from the stadium. Most of all, you miss all that exit traffic and ride with other fans!

Nice MLB park

By Global_Coug |

Yes, like other stadiums the distance between the rows is a little tight and the concessions are overpriced. But they keep the entire place clean, there is a pretty good selection of food and beverages from real restaurants, and the place is air-conditioned. My only complaint is that they almost always keep the roof closed even at night. Hey! This is baseball, it's summer, and when the sun goes down it's reasonably pleasant.

Home Run

By mfontaine60 |

The Juice Box is the best ball park we’ve been in! The food is good and it’s certainly very easy to find your seats. The ushers at the top are helpful and polite.
If you’re going to visit your team here , come early and grab a parking place nearby . The spaces fill up super fast and you could walk a few blocks.
The local restaurants nearby are all good if you prefer outside food with friendly servers.

Enjoy the game in air conditioned comfort.

Minute Maid Park is a world classic baseball park! Plenty of delicious food and drinks for watching the Astros and their competition. Staff is friendly and helpful. If you’re a baseball fan, or if you’re not, you should take a look at a game when you have a chance; the atmosphere, the feeling, the clubs, the music, everything envelops you so you can feel the emotion of the game and enjoy the visit.

Take me out to the ball game, again!

By Carolyn J |

I really loved this stadium. It was 93 degrees outside but cool and comfortable in the stadium under the roof. The layout of the food concessions is spacious and they are easy to access. There was a really nice food and drink selection within easy reach. The staff was very cheerful everywhere. They were really pleased to have us there. Team stores were everywhere so there was no need for everyone to be crowded in just one location. The scoreboards were large and well-placed. All in all, it was a great day for baseball and we enjoyed every minute!

Cubs vs Astros

By How W |

Minute Maid Park was the 22 Major League Baseball Park that I have been to. I had been looking forward to get here for years. The configuration of the ballpark is unique in so many ways. The only downside is the price of the tickets. But with the Astros being in contention the past few years it is natural for management to raise the entrance fee.

Meh

By Dan J |

More about the hype and noise than baseball. Average concessions, ticket pricing average, very slow crowded walking to concessions and from section to section.

Incessantly loud piped in noise before and during the game. No options for delivery to seat (long lines lead to missed game time).

On the up side they don’t have a ton of vendors blocking the view during the game. Overall just not a great venue for a baseball enthusiast.

Go Stros!

By whodat1214 |

Took in 2 games during a 4 day trip to Houston. Minute Maid Park is beautiful. Great facility, seating is good in the vast majority of locations, and it's a very family friendly place. Even in the 400 sections, you were close enough to the field to enjoy the game. Concessions offered provided much variety, and the prices were pretty much on par with other professional sports complexes. Restrooms, especially in the upper deck concourses, could really use a regular pressure washing and deodorizing. Had a great time. The homerun porch is the place to catch the game. Thank you Minute Maid and Houston Astros....we will be back.

Beautiful and well designed baseball stadium. Family friendly and very clean. Dollar dog nights are fun for our family. Go early to catch the batting practice and maybe take home a foul ball.

Daikin Park for a win.

By FOILsurfboards |

Great Ballpark. Went there on a Friday night, the roof was closed so you didn’t feel the summer heat. Food was good and decently priced, even had some local flavors. After the game they opened the roof and had a fireworks show. We had a great time and checked another ballpark off the list.

Nice ballpark

By BA |

In town so decided on seeing a game. Like going to different ballparks. Easy to get around. Wide concourses which is nice. Staff was friendly. When exiting and asking how to get to Crawford street we were going out the opposite side. He told us to come back in and walk around it would be quicker. We appreciated that.

Like that it’s indoors because of the heat. Was a little warm inside but better than outside. Seating on the 300 level was quite uncomfortable though. Acoustics were also bad where we were. Couldn’t hear any of the announcements.

We prepaid for parking on SPOTHERO. Parked at 1401 commerce street lot. Paid $20 day of on SPOTHERO. It was priced at $25 at the park. Showed our pass and got right in. It was easy in and out to the interstate to head north on 45 afterwards. Seemed to be back far enough away from the traffic but also only maybe a 10 minute walk.

Was a fun game. Astors won on a walk off and there were postgame fireworks. We actually walked to the lot to watch them so we could exit easier since we were unfamiliar with the area and we could see them fine from the lot. Had a great evening (minus the uncomfortable seats).

You won't be disappointed!

By caledoniavickie |

Beautiful diamond.Great views. Sat in three different spots for three games and could see really well. The first game we were on the third level ,first row but the rail makes it a bit hard to see around if you are short.
Staff are extremely pleasant and always smiling.
We were a bit worried being Canadian and with all the crazy politics happening but always felt welcomed.
Lots of interesting food choices.
Loved the train and the atmosphere.
Well done Astros and staff!

Hot!

By Stahlko |

I thought that it would be nice and cool since the dome was closed; I was so wrong! It was super hot and super crowded. It took my over an hour of standing in line to just get food. Not my favorite ballpark.

Retractable roof

By Birchpl |

Nice place to see a game, despite seeing the Astros get crushed by the pirates. Having a retractable roof on a hot afternoon was key. There was quite a bit of parking around the stadium, with prices significantly lower just a few blocks from the stadium.

Good food choices, we enjoyed chick-Fil-a sandwiches, and would especially recommend the chili cheese fries in the Astros helmet.

This would be a five star review if there were more eating and drinking options around the stadium, only a few options were available.

GREAT TOUR

By Itza S |

If you are a fan of baseball and in the area, take the tour. I've toured lots of baseball parks because of the unique features each park has. It didn't matter that I was the only one on this particular tour, I was given the same friendly tour and made to feel like a welcome guest. About half way through a 2nd guide joined and it was like I was given the tour with 2 new friends.

Not a great game, but a great time!

One of my favorite places on earth. I’ve brought my kids once before and that was miserable. But when it’s just me and my husband, I am happy to stay the whole 9 innings. The last game I went to we were sandwiched between 8 people on either side of us, just one row below the nosebleed seats (although, I don’t think there’s a bad seat in the park), we spent $35 on mediocre food and $10 on a large fountain drink with free refills (we got 5 refills/our money’s worth). The game was slow and the Astros lost, but we had such a great time. I love the ambience/energy.

Excellent stadium! Very clean & many souvenir stores on the property! So if you see a shirt you like but not in your size, there are others! We went to 3 before we found the shirt & size we were looking for. & LOVE how the stadium roof closes so as to have AC!! Such a Huge variety of food & drink & felt prices were reasonable for a stadium. Really enjoyed how the roof opened up at the end of the game to view the fireworks Friday night, which lasted ~7min (~3 songs or more).

Minute Maid Park June 13th 2023

By steve |

Diamond Baseball Tour took us to Houston to see this park. Enjoyed it especially since it was dollar dog night. Been here before for a couple of games. Very entertaining as it was star wars night. So a lot of people in costumes with entertainment on the field also.

Fun!

By JMRpink |

The merchandise is pricey, but there was a huge variety, from differently-styled shirts to legos to onesies, etc. Plus, I saw all of those things and more at a single store. The food is pricey, and I was terribly disappointed with the menu and prices at Torchy’s. However, I guess that’s expected at any baseball stadium.

AAstros are the attraction, not the park

By Ted R |

Astros used to be miserable team Now, they are World Series champs and contenders They plau long ball, have a good pitching staff and are fun The park is newer than many but still average Seats are uncomfortable and food very high priced Lines often long to get in Downtown parking near the ballpark is a rip-off Yes, the train goes and whistles when the Astros hit a home run, but this park just doesn't have the style of others or the feeling of history of yet others

nice park;air conditioned;no bad seats in the place

By kalamazootx |

dont waste money on high priced tickets;all seats are good;upper decks accessible by elevator;great food and drinks;air conditioned and covered in the Texas heat is a plus for sure;took uber there

Watch Out for vendor employees!!

Watch out for the vendors during Astros games!!!! An employee offered my 15 and 17yo daughter's dirty sprites when they went to order food!!!

We went for the Astros/ Phillies three games. The crowd we sat around were hilarious and loved to hackle just as much as we did! All the employees were very friendly. It was an over-all very enjoyable time.

Good Ballpark Experience

By beerwriter |

The home of the Houston Astros baseball club may be the best of the ballparks with a retractable roof. Sightlines are good, concessions are largely local and reasonably priced by sports venue standards. Staff are friendly and helpful. Central location is convenient to transit and area hotels.

Astros beat the Tigers!

By Lynn M |

Went to watch an Astros game. We follow them, but have not seen them live in YEARS! Very much enjoyed our stadium. It was a little chaotic getting in to the game (and we came about 25 minutes into the game). They don’t seem to have a smooth system of entry, but once we were in, all was good!!

Love that Altuve!

They have a lot of retail stores and they were busy! Would love to shop around in them sometime if we go to an earlier game.

Went to Astros/Angels game. Stadium is nice, clean. Only disappointment was gluten free and healthy options were not that available. Key is parking in private lot somewhere. Interesting that it has removable roof, it was closed due to heat but neat it can be opened.

Bad Father's day experience

By Eduardo |

So I took my father, my 2 brothers in law and my cousin in law to the Saturday 15th game. Even though I bought upper deck tickets I made it a mission to show up super early so we could sit at the Jim Beam Bar at the Honda club as I normally do. we got there and everything was going well until about one and a half our BEFORE THE GAME, we decide to walk down the stairs on that section sitting to take a pic with the field in the back ground, the section guard not only was rude but threatened up to call security and get us escorted out. A woman sitting in the isle at the JB bar asked her why was it a big issue and she too got the threat of being taken out. About 2 innings in the game, as my cousin was pulling the chair back to get out and go to the bathroom, it crossed a line and that same person came and again with a threat demeanor told him if the chair was not inside the green line he will have us escorted out, further more one of my brothers in law came back from getting food and another section guard stop him because he had a wristband that we had acquire to be in the Honda club and then asked me for the tickets, after some clarification we were left alone, but that 1st guard kept passing behind us over and over again. Now I am a Vet and suffer from PTSD, how do ya think I felt with someone passing behind me over and over again who had threatened me to kick me out the area. Adding to the amazing events my father when to another section just to ask that guard how he can go by to get seats there, and the reply of the guard was "never come back in here or I have you escorted out the ball park". The cherry on top was when the man who was sitting next to our group got up when to the bar right behind us and as he waited for his beer he literally barfed, vomit on the floor, too off to wash off, took his vomited jersey and gather his wife and I assume father and took off, and guess where was the strict guard, laughing and joking with an HPD officer, which coincidentally showed up after the crossing the line incident and he too walked behind us a couple of times...

So you can say this was one tense and stressful Father's Day gift to my family.

It’s so exciting to support the Astro during home game always very Helpful association Stay & walking around to assistant you if you need help find your seat! The seat are a little tight those seat are not made for a person over weight like 400 to 500 pounds, food area nice friendly people and though out the park are nice, Safe you do-not really have to worry cause you will see Blue Uniforms everywhere even when the game are over with❤️❤️

Ballpark #22. Loved the Juice Box! Wooooo!

By K_B |

My 22nd ballpark did not disappoint. Stadium is a little tricky to get to but its well worth it. Arrived early and got my bobblehead, which is always great. Got upper deck seat, they actually had great views with nothing obstructed. Verlander pitched and put on quite the show! The staff was some of the friendliest I've ever seen in a sporting event. The gentlemen that stands by the stairs for the upper decks was so nice and he told us a pretty cool story about the 2001 World Series! It's easily one of the best ballparks in the entire MLB. So many unique features that makes it a stadium you need to see in person.

The Weather is Great!

By Delnor N |

Minute Maid Park has a retractable roof which is open during "nice" weather. While the baseball purist may not like having the roof closed but the "fan" will appreciate being in a climate controlled environment especially during the hot humid summer days/nights.

The park itself has comfortable concourses with plenty of food options. Ticket prices depend on the "value" of the visiting team. Parking is available in the surrounding area. If you are okay with walking affordable parking ($10-$15) is as near as three blocks away.

GO 'STROS

By Tatiyana |

This field is awesome!! Easy to get around, you have the telly even outside so you can watch ever hit and pitch. Nothing says Houston like the Astros!!

Take me out to the ballgame

By Daniel L |

My friend won tickets and on the day of the game everything went well everyone had a great time! It was my first ballgame there. I want to go again!

It was a retirement gift for my wife from the fire department from Houston for 20 years so I decided to bring my family.

By Brad F |

I got a gift for my wife. I retired from the fire department after 20 years with Houston. I’m a big fan of the Houston Astros are usually watch them on TV because we live in the suburbs. So we decided to bring the family, my son, my daughter and my infant. The experience was good until we were trying to get an autograph up at the front, which we thought was for the experience we arrived just like everybody else very early pregame, and we bought tickets. We were in section 109 which were great seats. One of the tenants told us we were not allowed to go down there and was very rude to my wife and told us that we should be grateful that we got tickets and grateful we’re at the game and we’re not allowed to go down there to get any autographs it’s not guaranteed. That didn’t settle right with me due to the fact that it wasn’t that we wanted an autograph. It was the experience I was trying to give my children with the autograph or not we just want to get down there to be a part of something the game and we got .That didn’t settle right with me do to the fact that it wasn’t that we wanted an autograph. It was the experience I was trying to give my children with the autograph or not we just want to get down there to be a part of something of the game and we got a bad experience with that, besides that the stadium was beautiful I hope that they could understand it’s about the children. The families they’re the ones that buy the tickets the season holders the merchandise I think sometimes we forget that.

Astros vs Angels

By Dewayne P |

I took the stadium tour before my game against the Angels. It was a fantastic look at many places I would never go (suites, pressbox, etc.) and provided all kinds of historical information about the team, current stadium, and former stadium (Astrodome). The park itself is pretty immaculate with ample food choices (at a high ballpark price, i.e. $6 for a soad).

Minute maid

By Y3125QWedwardm |

It’s air conditioned.....a must in Houston.....so that’s a great start....ticket prices are comparable to other Mlb teams....but there are occasional special reduced prices on weeknights in the upper decks....great sight lines in the stadium, the levels are built more up than back, so no seat is real far from the field.....great selection of food on the stadium..prices are high, but again, comparable to other stadiums....the club level is a great place to sit.....lots of food choices and not as crowded as other levels in that to be on the club level, you have to have a club ticket....price not out of line

Downside of the park....the concourses .....other than the club level are narrow and can be very crowded..tough to move around.

As stadium is downtown, traffic getting there is tough, and parking is whatever you can find....might consider four season valet parking...price is in line with surface parking with a garunteed spot......you can reserve it at spot hero.......

Nice Stadium

Had a really good time as usual for date night. I've totally become a baseball fan after so many years of not liking the sport. Go 'Stros!!!

Great atmosphere

We love attending Astros games even if they do lose. The atmosphere is awesome! The prices are high for goods and drinks but you are allowed to bring a plastic bag of snacks and water.

Houston Astros vs Texas Rangers

By Dave A |

Friday night baseball, nothing better than that. What an amazing venue to visit and see a great game of baseball. Minute Maid park is incredible so well laid out, we sat up behind home plate and the view across the park was awesome. A great selection of food and drink stalls on every level, plenty of gear shops to purchase Astro’s gear from. All the staff are friendly and helpful. We were so lucky that after our game we were treated to a 20 minute fireworks display to commemorate the 50 year anniversary of the first man in the moon and to top it off the astros won a close game against the Rangers.

Awesome Ball Park

By Kerry K |

Been to a lot of ball parks, Minute maid is a good one. Lots of parking. Still can get good seats for a good price. They just put up safety nets along the first and third baseline field boxes but you can barely see it. Great fans exciting place to watch the Astros.

Love this Baseball Park!

Minute Maid is a great ballpark! Fun atmosphere. Great food selection! The Astros are an exciting to watch! Only negative parking is expensive.

Awesome baseball park. There really isn't a bad seat in the whole place. The beer was cold and the food was great.

What an absolutely beautiful baseball stadium

By Cyclonegup |

Minute Maid Park lived up to all my expectations. It was a pleasure to see a quality team in a quality setting. The dome and air conditioning are invaluable in a city with summer weather like Houston’s. Even when nearly full, the temperature in the stadium was kept at a pleasant level. Vendors were plentiful and food choices varied. My seat was in the 3rd tier behind home plate and I felt like I was right on top of the action. The Ryan Express train is a neat novelty. Do yourself a favor and go see Minute Maid Park.

This is a wonderful place to go for all. The game was exciting. The food is a little pricey but that is part of every stadium.Go early and get better parking and prices.

Excellent ballpark

By Bruce W |

Minute Maid Park is a flat-out great place to see a game. For one thing, the retractable roof insures a comfortable viewing experience (especially important in places like Houston, which can get muggy). There are great sight lines throughout the park, great food options, and friendly employees who are happy to help. I look forward to seeing another game there; truly a fun place to be. If you have time, also take the tour, that was a great experience, too.

Great spot for Memorial Day weekend game!

By Moved2Texas |

We visited Minute Maid Park for an Astros game and had a great time. The team sponsored a crawfish boil / New Orleans fest in the street outside the stadium. The lines were horribly long for people who prepaid, but very little line for those paying on the spot. We had someone who didn't like the crawfish give us her entire pound of crawfish (minus one tail). Inside the park has great sightlines and lots of food options. We visited the Torchy's area up high in center field and got some chips and queso. Of course everything is expensive inside, but the food is very good.

There are a wide variety of pricing options when watching the Astros and parking is not too bad if you don't mind walking a ways to the park. (We parked in a garage on Texas Street about 8 blocks away for $10)

Fun Times

We love evrything about Minute Maid, except we both wish the better foods had more locations in the park.

Drove into Houston to see the Astros play for the weekend. Minute Maid Park is phenomenal! Has so many amenities! Not only did it have lots of options for snacks and drinks, the environment was very comfortable. Easy to navigate and get around. Highly recommend making this one of your stops if in the Houston area.

Love minute maid park. Especially when Astros beat the rangers. Great place to watch a game. Always cool and has retractable roof.

Great concert venue.

I was in attendance for a RBD concert. A very nice experience. Take notice thatt you're not allowed to bring bags or backpacks inside (there are exceptions). Retractable roof, it was closed and the AC on.

Minute Maid One Hour Tour

By quahaug |

The one-hour tour was very good. You saw all the high points of the park from the dugout to the suites and everything in between. Our guide, Carol, was excellent and very well versed in team history and minutia. Good for kids and adults and is a perfect warmup to attending a game.

Ballgame fun

By rbethel |

Our family loved watching the Red Sox play at Minute Maid Park. The 2 games we watched we a highlight of our Memorial Day trip to downtown Houston. It’s a wonderful place to watch baseball.

Nice, enjoyable Ballpark

By Diana |

Took a tour of this ballpark during a layover in flights. Took about 20 minutes from the airport and easy access from the highway. Nice ballpark and they give lots of tour options to choose from. I did the quick photos only tour which was meant for those that had limited time on their hands and wanted to still see the ballpark.
Definitely recommend it - $10 and gets you to check out the field and the tour guide gives a brief overview of the stadium.

Great Family Fun

By AussieMac |

I took my kids to an Astros game at Minute Maid Park for the first time and they LOVED it! We had so much fun. It was easier getting to and from the stadium than I anticipated, although I did spend the extra money to pre-purchase a parking ticket, so that helped. The facilities were as clean as you can expect when you have hundreds of people all in the same location and food was good for stadium food. There were at least several selections so everyone found something they wanted to eat (plus extra treats). We will definitely be back!

Go Astros!

By Joy H |

I love going to Minute Maid to see a baseball game! As I write this, The Astros are headed to the World Series. Minute Maid has very nice facilities and good choices for food too.

Baseball at its best!

By CBTV |

This stadium is so happy, fun, cheerful and clean. The people of Houston are welcoming and friendly. Strangers seated next to us were nice and kind. We went on a Tuesday and it was dollar dog night. Here are the criteria to purchase hot dogs: only cash is accepted, hot dog sales end at the start of the 8th inning, limit 4 hot dogs per person. What’s great about this ballpark is that you can find many inexpensive parking lots a few blocks away. We parked at the SP PLUS PARKING LOT 97 (sorry, I don’t remember the cross streets but if you put that name into the Maps App, it will show you the cross streets) and paid only $10 for the whole evening. The lot was safe too! It was only a ten minute walk to the stadium. We arrived about 1 hour before game time and the lot was only 1/5 full. Plenty of parking spaces available! In addition, if you can find a metered parking spot, you’re only required to pay for it up until 6pm. After 6pm, it’s totally free!!! But those spots are hard to find. So the $10 parking lot would be the best option.

well designed with a retro feel

By Robert S |

a hot day in June with the Blue Jays facing the Astros brought us to Minute Maid. It was only a five minute walk from our hotel, so perfectly located for us. The employees we encountered as well as the fans we spoke to were very friendly - even though we were wearing Jays gear. The roof was closed because of the heat. The stands were full - looked like a sell-out. The view out into the outfield with the windows revealing some of the cityscape gave it an old-stadium retro feel. I was very happy to see a Shake Shack concession where my daughter and I ordered lunch. Lots of food choices throughout. They also have an Astros "hall of fame" laneway inside the stadium, so that if you are an Astros fan there's lots here for you to see and spend time gazing at. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable experience. And the Jays won, 12-0

Houston Astros

We were fortunate enough to attend a game of baseball between the Houston Asttos and Chicago White Socks. It was amazing. We are Australian and obviously dont get to see something like that. A truly wonderful evening.

Great experience

By Penny_is_picky |

Went to our first Astros game last night. Love that they have a huge variety of food options and their prices are much better than other MLB stadiums we have visited. Great to watch a game in a dome on a hot day. The train is a great touch and Orbit is the best mascot in all of MLB. We sat in the 300s section and had a great view. I would suggest there would be posted signs to where escalators are located because we had to take the stairs and not everyone can take 3 flights of stairs easily.

Awesome, clean ballpark

By Miami622 |

Minute Maid is one of the nicest in baseball. It is clean, fan friendly and the staff are polite and friendly. There are plenty of food options at typical ballpark prices. Also, there are multiple entrance and exit points, making for a less crowded atmosphere. The concourse wraps around the entire stadium and is quite wide at most points. I would definitely recommend taking in a game at the home of the Astros.

Blowout game Astros vs Rays

By Roger W |

I had the privilege of going to my first baseball game at this iconic stadium. I am from the Caribbean and my hosts explained the game to me and I was able to follow. It is similar to cricket. The athleticism displayed by the Astros was impressive.

Only been here to see music

By Demanding_customer45 |

But the place was great venue. The acoustics weren't bad, and the seating offered a great view of the stage. The staff are pleasant and helpful and it is well organised to manage a large number of visitors in one go. Just don't ask about the prices of drinks !!!
