Lovely white sand beach, not too crowded despite it being high season. Not much different from Naples Beach, but very pretty.

We enjoyed our visit to Delnor Wiggins. The beach is beautiful and we ever saw some turtles in the parking lot.

Unquestionably the park is a natural wonder. Beyond that, true enjoyment lies in the hospitality shown by the staff. Lead by an outstanding Manager and Assistant Manger the park runs like a well-oiled machine. The Rangers and volunteers are extremely helpful and friendly, in spite of having to deal with the occasional Masshole. Great place for a walk or spend the day getting a tan.

This is a beautiful park to walk through. The white sands beaches are soft to walk along and provide a beautiful backdrop to relaxing at the beach. We let the kids play in the sand for a while while we watched the sea birds fish for dinner. We also saw turtles and a raccoon while walking along the paths. The bathrooms were well kept up and clean.

A lovely beach, 6 dollars for day, good facilities but quite a distance from parking
Would come again

Wiggins pass park reserve Has a gorgeous beach, fine white sand, many shells for the shell seekers. Can sun by the rolling waves or by the calm inlet. Fisherman tourists trying their luck at trying to catch some fish for dinner. Great beauty at Wiggins Pass.

Despite the cold wind we had a lovely day at this state park. We tucked ourselves into the vegetation and it was lovely and warm. The sand is so white and soft and there is plenty of wildlife to spot. So many birds, a dolphin swimming by and a new friend the gopher tortoise. Make a trip it is well worth the 6 dollar fee and plenty of parking on the day we visited.

Parking can be an issue. Go early (before 10) or wait until after some of the morning people have left. Great sand, lots of shells, some shade especially early in the day. Picnic tables and washrooms available.

You better go early to get entry into this park. Cars begin lining up at 8:00 during tourist season.

very clean and pristine beaches. enjoyable. there is a fee to enter the park and bathrooms are provided. VERY friendly beach patrol.

This is a Florida State park. You need to pay for parking (they do not accept Collier County Beach Parking Pass). You can drive up to the beach parking spots which are very close to the beach. There are bathrooms.

We never felt crowded here and really enjoyed walking the length of the beach and relaxing. We did have "neighbors" that decided everyone wanted to listen to their music, but we just picked up and moved a little further down and enjoyed peace and quiet once again. Nice restroom and picnic facilities and plenty of parking.

Went here to view the sunset. It is still recovering from ‘Ian’ so the beach size is reduced, vegetation reduced, but it has new fine sand, and much smaller crowds. The sunset was dazzling, but the mosquitos in the parking lot were swarming

As of June 9, 2023 parking lot 1 and 2 are open. We arrived at 8am so parking was not an issue, but by the time we left at 10:30am there were no spots left. The beach area is nice and we enjoyed the solitude of the morning.

We've stopped at the parking area 1. Very short walk to the sand, clean restrooms and great shaded picnic locations with nice tables/benches. There are reasonably priced food items with delivery option to all parking areas. We've found some beautiful shells and made a new friend in the process. Word of advice, when picking up a beautiful conch shell, check inside for a dweller. If not sure, give it few seconds and if there's one in there, it will swing at you to set it free. The entrance fee can't be beat, as well. It's a win-win-win over here. However, be prepared for a crowd and arrive early enough. We were there at 8:30am and had our pick of a parking spot.

There are a number of different parking areas spread out along the coast at this large park, where we spent several hours lounging in the shade of the trees at the edge of the sand as we looked out over the water. We also walked up the beach, watching shore birds and picking up shells. The park has a concession stand at parking lot four where you can buy food and beverages and rent equipment such as paddleboards, kayaks, canoes, umbrellas and beach chairs. Beach wheelchairs are also available by reservation. I see some people complained that the beach is narrow. I liked the width because I could sit in the shade at one of the picnic areas and easily see the water. I wish we’d seen more wild life. We did see a raccoon in the bushes, but he hustled off.

We enjoyed our day at this beach but be aware that the shells at the waters edge can be quite sharp. Make sure to bring beach shoes if you want to walk along the water.

We visited this lovely beach last Sunday morning. $6 Entrance fee. Plenty of parking. Rest rooms showers etc. Beautiful white sand. Not huge, but natural looking lots of birds and fish lush vegetation behind the beach as well as a boardwalk and observation tower. We only stayed an hour but will come back next time we are in the area. Worth bringing cold drinks as no shops near. we really enjoyed our visit and would recommend.

We have visited this park many times and always want to return as soon as possible. It has great beaches, convenient parking and kayak rentals.

this is a nice wide beach with alot of shells. we went twice. the first ranger was very nice but the other one was not.

Untouched beach is beautiful. The parking lot gets crowded early so be prepared. The beach is a little on the narrow side but worth it.

Love this beach! The state park had all the basic amenities needed (restroom, parking) and the beach was incredible.

You pay $8 to get in and it's clean, but the sand has a lot of shells. Meaning, it is really difficult to walk. However, it isn't real busy in October but the water was warm and clear with zero waves.

This is a beautiful venue if you're into a more rustic beach experience. Great for campers or picnics. Small concession stand, bathrooms & plenty of beautiful beach space for those seeking a more adventurous experience.

It’s a beautiful place for some beach fun, but it needs a lot of work right now (November 2024) to recover from the recent storms. Currently lots of big sand piles to be spread and the parking lot is closed.

Not really a hike more like seeing a small beach but pretty I would go off season. Pretty beach - but a bit of a haul from Naples area. Restrooms and small food choices but limited.

Don't waste your time on any other beach. It is well worth the entrance fee for this clean, quiet, family-friendly beach! We went twice a day, every day, on our 5 day vacation to Naples. Best sunset views!

We stopped here late afternoon after going to Corkscrew. It was 70 degrees, so parking attendant stated beach was quiet as too cold for locals. We parked by concessions to get ice cream. They have 4 or 5 lots, plus overflow lots with trams for when it gets busy. Sand was nice, we found lots of spiral shells. The trails are nice and they have picnic tables under palm trees. Bathrooms are close to concessions, just off the beach.

Well worth the $6 fee. Not crowded like the public beaches. Well cared for grounds. Picnic tables, grills, and plenty of sandy beach. Restrooms within walking distance. Very peaceful here because of a more senior crowd. Even has a boat ramp. Highly recommended.

I probably will regret sharing this location... it might mean there are more people there when I want to enjoy the solitude of this place. It is state park, so there is an entrance fee, but the proximity of the parking to beach makes the fee minuscule. Great quiet beach with the Gulf of Mexico at your beckon. Watch carefully for the dolphins swimming by, the pelicans feeding and while walking the shoreline keep your eyes posted for some great shells

Loved this beach. Gets crowded by mid-day but you can usually get a parking place as some are ready to leave by then. Soft whit,e sand and warm water with gentle waves, makes swimming easy. Love the birds that play by the shore. Would definitely go back.

In 32 yrs I’ve been coming to the area, I’ve never been to this beach. Amazing!!! The shelling is the best in the area. Recommend getting there early to get first pick. Dolphins and manatees can be seen as well.

Easy access and clean beautiful beach and facilities. There is a separate boat launch and kayak rental is available. It’s friendly and a good family park.

Surprised by the quality of the hidden State of Florida park, about 2 miles long with three parking lots, each equipped with water, picnic spots and bathrooms. Wide clean beaches and many shells. Great views; good place for a two hour walk

This is a very nice beach with trees near the water. You can sit at picnic tables or on the beach. If you go early you can often see dolphins and rays, which come pretty close to shore sometimes.

We visited this beach a couple of times during our visit and was also the location for our wedding. It was busier than I remember from first visiting in 2016 but there was ample parking and a cheap entrance fee of $6 for the day which is cheaper than spending money on parking at other beach locations in Naples.
There were plenty of benchs and tables to sit at. We spotted a couple of raccoons in the parking lot too. Sadly there was no swimming signs up on our 2nd visit which didn't seem to deter some people! It's a lovely spot to visit and got some great photos of the sunset there too. Would recommend.

Loved this place. Nice little lot to park an RV in. Not sure about a big one but our class B was fine. Love the beach here. A little crowded on the Monday afternoon. But not bad. Beautiful sand and we even saw dolphins. Will be back here for sure.

Each of the beaches in this region of Florida have their own personality. This is a great option. There are quite a few shells and even some shade.
Get here by 10 am during the season for the closest parking opportunities.

$6 for a carload up to 6 people. I believe a national parks pass may also work. We went shell hunting on Sanibel Island and paid $5 per hour and lugged our items pretty far to the beach. This park has parking areas within feet from the beach, bath houses and even places to grill in the shade. It gets pretty busy so go early if you want a good spot. ENJOY

This park is great for all activities, The beaches are amazing for swimming, shelling, sunbathing, and fishing. They hit all of our vacation needs! It is a great value. The bath houses are clean and the park is well maintained.

Such a beautiful beach! We arrived early and found a parking spot. Plenty of beautiful beach to go around! We walked from one end to the other while we were there. Lots of shells. Very clean. Port-a-potties were also clean.

An incredible state park to help you enjoy the beautiful beach. It is to west coast what Bill Baggs state park is to the east.
Beach is very good / clean / clear water. Maybe a little bit to much shells but nothing is perfect in this world.
6$ per car to enter the park.
Enjoy.

This is the place to go every day. The beach is pristine and the water is generally calm. However, after a storm, it is a great place to find conch shells and sand dollars. There are restrooms and picnic facilities. A great place to just walk and see osprey, shore birds and dolphins.

This is a beautiful beach. It has a lovely, natursl feeling. It costs 6$ for an entry fee but is well worth it. If ypu keep the receipt, you can come and go as you please. The parking is convenient, there are multiple access points to the beach. It is a very clean, besutiful beach. Everyone has access to picnic tables and can nbq eith their whole family. Great time. It isn't extremely crowded either which was nice.

Went for an early morning run from my hotel heading for the park. Having run for 20 minutes to get to on of the few local green spaces i was told there was a $2 charge to enter. I was running with no cash or credit card as I was totally unprepared for this and not happy to be told to go away. this is not how I would expect visitors to the city to be expected, It wasn't as though I wanted to use any facilities, I just wanted to run and stay healthy..

Treat yourself to an awesome beach in North Naples. Get there early and you will be rewarded with Southwest Florida nature at it finest

We enjoyed a great evening with a few friends. The weather and the company was great. If your expectations are not too great, you will be pleased! Great sunsets and gulf breeze to keep it cool!

This is a very nice beach park with nice facilities. Snacks and refreshments are available in Parking lot 4 and chair and umbrella rentals are available also. Great spot for a beach walk.

Went in the morning and enjoyed walking the beach, shell collecting and swimming. It does get busier by afternoon. $6.00 entry fee.

This is a lovely state park with a long beautiful beach in which to walk. facilities for food, bathrooms, rentals for SUP, chairs. a definite stop in Vanderbilt Beach area to spend the day. Shaded areas with picnic tables and grills too.

This is our absolutely favorite beach. It is a hidden gem with white soft sandy beaches, and turquoise calm water. You are truly in Paradise here.

We stopped for just a quick walk on beach - $6.00 entry fee seems like a real bargain. We were only there for a short time, but everything looked well cared for and maintained. The beach seems to go on for miles with a great view of Naples at the end. Sand was fine, white and clean. Even realizing we were there on a weekday, the park seemed extremely low on visitors. It appears to have huge capacity and must be a local favorite. If we had spent more time I expect our rating would have been higher.

Great Christmas Eve on the beach. Entrance $6 per car. Took our bbq meats etc and was able to park very close to the beach. Used one of the many bbq’s too cook our food and ate on a picnic bench. Electric power points available. Keep an eye out for the crafty raccoons who may want to steal your food. Lovely walk afterwards along the beach saw pelicans and dolphins fishing. Amazing shells to discover on the beach, beautiful area. Flushing toilets with hand washing facilities at the end of each parking area. Observation tower at the end of parking lot 5 is currently closed for renovation.

This is a favorite home away from home. It is not very crowded and you can have your own space. I really like the fact there are bathrooms. These are close to the beach and typically are clean. When you arrive you will needto take a comfortable shuttle to the beach. These run often and I have never waited more than 5 minutes. The drivers are nice. The path to the beach is nice to observe. Do not come to this beach--I want it all to myself

Have been coming here for over 10 years. This time we walked there from the Ritz Carlton. Love this beach!

Long beautiful gulf beach, five parking lots, very reasonable admission: $4 for individual in a car, $6 for up to 8 in a vehicle. Saw a large bottle nose dolphin about 10 yards or less from beach today.

Delnor-Wiggins is located in North Naples at Immokalee Road and..the Gulf of Mexico! :-) West of 41 Immokalee is referred to as 111th Avenue in the Naples Park area.
Note: if you're not local, you have to pay to park. Just a few years ago places existed to park and visit the beach in this area, but they're gone. You have to pay a fee, or have a beach parking pass to avoid paying. But parking is plentiful and the beach is beautiful. Being a state park means no alcohol is allowed on the beach. Just fyi.
1.5 miles south of Delnor Wiggins is the Ritz Carlton, Gumbo Limbo and other local establishments, along with a parking garage that provides parking for beach access. It fills up quickly in season.
The difference between Delnor Wiggins and this area south? Delnor doesn't allow alcohol and doesn't have a lot of commercial activity (e.g. restaurants, beach bar areas, vendors) and is therefore more "sedate" in nature. Much more activity and "human infrastructure" to the south. Choose wisely.

Defintely worth a stop. Lots of shells, soft sand. Saw some Dolphin’s out in the water. Seemed like there was a lot of parking also. It’s off a road that has a nice bike/walking trail also.

If the weather is 72 or above this park will stop admittance due to capacity by 10:15 am. Don’t waste your time after that.

Only came across this by accident but so glad we did. Great stretch of beach, water a lot clearer than neighbouring Ft Myers and lots of parking available for only $6 per day. Well worth a visit.

My family loved this park. I was ecstatic to find out at the gate it was only $6 to get in that’s a steal. Parked both times we went in lot 5.
The sand here is harder packed and there are a lot of shell debris to walk over so it’s not a soft beach but no matter the atmosphere was amazing. Really loved looking around and seeing woods instead of condos. There a lot of picnic tables and grills to use. In lot 4 there’s some refreshments which is an easy walk up the beach from our lot 5 spot.

We enjoy this beach more than others due to its more natural look with trees providing shade close to the beach. nice view of Wiggins Pass

Very nice park, beautiful, peaceful. Lots of restrooms and clean. Everyone just minds their own. Do beware of the ground-nesting hornet/wasp things (black/red, very angry, took over large sections of this park). DO NOT step on them or anger them.
Met a lovely gopher tortoise on my last visit, very cool. Only $6 to get in.

We just loved this place. It was the place we went to on our trip.We went to tigertail on marco island, fort myers beach, and this by far was the best. I would definitely recommend bringing drinks and snacks

Good bathroom facilities and ample parking, but it'll cost you. The beach here is the same as any other beach in Naples -- soft sand and miles and miles of water. Loved walking along the shore in front of this park. It wasn't as busy here as the other beaches in Naples. I find it disconcerting how hard it is to get to the water in Naples. I didn't know about the free beach shuttle that runs Friday to Monday until the end of our stay. That would have made all the difference. However, you still have to pay to park some place.

Lovely area for families or those wishing to have access to shade, well equipped (picnic tables, washrooms, paddleboard rental etc). Beautiful park and worth going to and preserving, especially the turtle sanctuary. Very reasonable cost to park but in peak season and on beautiful days, the parking lot fills up quickly so get there by 11:00.

Superb and large beach on the west coast of Florida. A sure thing, for a beautiful day! On the other hand, an umbrella is necessary.

I love this beach. I've taken my wife and son here multiple times. Always interesting shells, great views and the water is great. Also, for some reason we've either been incredibly lucky or it's really just never busy and we've been here during the height of New England /Northeast April and February vacations.

Gorgeous beach, great for collecting shells. Not crowded at all. Great car parking and facilities. Just perfect.

Adequate parking (a real plus in Naples), easy walk to the beach, very long and handsome beach with good shelling. The food, located in a old camper, is both bad and overpriced -- brought bad memories of dorm food.

Good luck getting into the parking lot on a Sunday during “season.” Turned away every Sunday that we have tried - even as early as 9:30 am.

Very nice beach with public bathrooms, in the evening great to watch the sunset but they start kicking you out of the park immediately after

By the time we arrived ready for our family beach time on a March Wednesday the park already did not allow any more cars and we had to park at a different recommended parking lot at Conner Park. The cost there was $8 per car. We had to walk a relatively long distance to Delnor-Wiggins with a 3 months old baby. Walking into the Delnor-Wiggins State Park they again charged us. They apparently have only $6 per car fee but $2 per pedestrian (4 of us).
The beach was narrow but pretty the way we remembered it, the water the most beautiful shades of blue. Picnic tables are available. In the picnic area visitors peace was repetitively disturbed by the bold raccoon . It did not behave sick but was apparently used to people and displayed no fear, approaching people and food, even jumping on the table.
“Deeper” into the park there were quite a few open parking spaces available but apparently they must have their quota.
Bathrooms are available. You can fish all the way near the pass.
So come early to avoid our frustrations. This time it was not a very good experience for us.

great beaches and we can usually park just 50 feet away from the beach and walk. they keep the beach clean and safe.

Worth the drive. More to do than just the beach- which is great too. Near the Naples Park area which is also interesting.

Beaches. Beautiful scenic area. Plenty of shells for those who like to walk beach. Parking is available in numbered areas. Facilities are also available.

Delnor Wiggins State Park is well worth visiting while in Naples, it is simply spectacular and very well maintained. There is a flat fee of $6- per day for a car of 2 or more to park. Restrooms and changing stations and several food options.
Nature is abundant in this unspoiled sanctuary.
The boardwalks to the beaches are also well maintained and take you on a very short tropical walk to the pristine beach.
Don't forget to return for the sunset!!
Must do!

This place has everything you need to have a great beach day. I love how there are shady areas to go in if you want to escape the sun. There are plenty of picnic tables and bbq areas. The beach is huge with plenty of space to walk along the shore and collect many shells. Beware of the very end of the park/beach where the walkway leading to the lookout tower is. There are A BUNCH of mosquitoes there!! The minute I stepped out of the car they attacked me. Not sure why that end area is filled with them when I went. If you love turtles they are everywhere :)

Delnor Wiggins Pass is a very good park, good staff, clean, parking, facilities. It has beautiful white sand, shells, trails, restaurants near, things to do. They have birds, wildlife, the people are 80% local ages children to seniors.

You can stay here a hole day for only 6 dollars.
Enough restrooms and also clean.
Enough parking space

Parking was $6. Another nice clean beach. The day we were there it was not a sit out on a chair, a little too cool, but we loved walking the beach pretty much on our own.

The beach is lovely and it is large and sandy. Most of the time there is a concession available. Lots of parking. $6 per car. Well worth it.

This beach is a gem. Just a short walk from the parking lot to the beach. Lots of beach walkers, sun bathers, and happy families.

Great clean park. Lots of parking at several lots. Public restrooms are clean and beach isn’t crowded even if parking lots are. Can’t beat the white sand of South Florida.

Delnor-Wiggins has a wonderful location and is a very smart park. It's great that Florida preserved this area as it could have easily (and profitably) put up yet another condo complex. We visited during the height of the algae / red-tide scare and it was just fine. Perhaps most of it was North of us? Anyway, typical Gulf beach - lots of shells, few waves and warm water!

Easy parking, $6, provides direct and fast access to beach. BBQ, showers and restroom facilities support a full day visit.

I usually love to come fishing here for some solitude. It's the worst I have ever seen it. There is dredging barges, items floating on the water, Little Ferry ships constantly in and out, and it's just n75ot the secret that it used to be. Seems like the recent red tide has killed all the bait fish, I tried to fish I did not even get a bite.. State of Florida: please be informed that this wonderful piece of Paradise in Naples is very endangered, do something about it. NOW, before too late

Bring a picnic enjoy a full day at the Park and beach ...a great day to spend with swimming, fun and sun.

We only spent a short time at this beach, but it was clean and not overcrowded. The bathrooms were well maintained.

A smaller museum whose exhibits pertain mainly to Marco Island. The exhibits range from Marco Islands conception to modern times. I am sure both you and your children will enjoy this museum. It is fun to learn about where you are visiting or living. Oh and did I mention, there is a gift shop for your children to find all kinds of things to purchase.

Clean, beautiful, peaceful beach with nature around you. Don't miss out on this beach while visitng Naples! If I lived here I would go all the time.

This park has a beautiful beach with plenty of parking, bathrooms and a lot of shade. The cost of parking is only $6 per car so it is worth it.

Incredibly beautiful beach. Very long (a little narrow but nobody cared). This place is so beautiful with many entry points with picnic tables at the many locations. Great little bathhouses dotted along the parking areas with incredible shaded areas along the beach due to the tree line being so close the water. The kids loved the beach fun but also the wooded area and board walks. Will definitely be back.

Been before, peninsula runs North from Bluebell Beach North Naples to Wiggins Pass entry to Gulf from inland waterway. Beach to west , mangrove trees to East with road and boat slipway and toilets. Absolutely no food or drink facilities available when we visited on 18 November despite signs saying concession trailer would deliver so we had to leave early. Maintenance work was getting done in high season meant other facilities not available! Road good. Plenty of orientation and education boards. Charges too much for the poor service. Management could be improved and make this great again.

Nice beach. Los of public parking left of the beach. It cost $8 per hr. You need to down load the QR code and pay. There is umbrellas and chair rentals $25 per umbrella and $5 per chair. A quite family beach. 👍

This is a wonderful State Park Beach, 5 areas to park with close proximity to the beach, some walks through sand, some deck walks. First beach I have visited that has shade available if you like that. Very well monitored. Perfect swimming areas. Admission fee $6 per car, keep receipt and go back as often as you want during day. Holidays must be there at opening as it closes admission when parking spots are full.

Get there early or after 3:00 pm to get a parking spot. The beach will not disappoint! Dolphins swam near shore along with pelicans and jumping shiny fish! Great waves and sandy beach and not as populated as some beaches in Naplesl

I love this park, great beach, restrooms with the necessary, bbq areas and beautiful sunset. You only pay $ 6 for the entire day.

I know the park very well from the past. This time I have seen a lot of dead fish most probably due to the red tide. It is very nice to walk along the beach early in the morning. There was still bird live and this was a good thing. The park is still a breeding place for turtles and everything should be done to preserve the park environment.

What a great park, beach, paths. The beach is gorgeous. Fees are low, and parking is ample. Came here several times through the week.

Nice quiet family beach. Concessions, shaded picnic areas and restrooms. Beautiful beach and clean water. Good times

Excellent excellent beach! Beautiful sand and lots of shells. It is clean and free! Probably my favorite beach in the area.

Beautiful and clean with tables under the shade of trees 🌳 where you can grill and have a picnic. Parking is close by and entrance $6-$8 per car. I recommend this beach 🏖! Water was crystal clear and beautiful.

Great beaches, decent parking, a good deal at six bucks. It's a little off the beaten trail (41) but you won't be disappointed. It was not too crowded the week we were in Naples (2-11), but I'm sure that changes season-to-season.

Great place to relax, with beautiful views and not too crowded. Nice beach to watch wildlife and even saw a couple of dolphins.

So glad to discover this State Park while on a business trip to Naples,Fl. Great bathrooms, picnic areas, park benches, and even lifejackets for public use. We had a small RV that the parking lot was able to accommodate. Was happy to pay the $6 entrance fee to support this hideaway tucked nearby the busy, overcrowded beach town of Naples. Appreciative that the State is preserving it among the Mcmansions, stores, and condos that dominate this town.

Contrary to what you read, part of the park is open. Parking areas 1 and 2 are open. They are on the North end. 3 to 5 are not. We went to the South entrance and it was closed for cars saying it was full at 9am on a Sunday. We parked for free at Connors park which is a 15 minute walk. The beach was super nice.

Be sure to arrive early to get a parking spot. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the only food available is a trailer in the parking lot (but the food is decent). Great park to walk the beach or fish from shore.

I love Wiggins Pass State Park; it's one of the few beaches where you feel isolated and yet not. Great fishing too. Snapper and Pompenos...yum.

This is simply a lovely beach with wildlife especially birds, magical sitting on the sand watching pelicans and ospreys feeding. A dolphin also swam by . Swimming was easy and seemed very safe , shells all over the beach . Lovely long walk along the beach and good services with showers available .perfect place to wAtch the sunset.

This is a lovely park with a very nice beach, but be aware that it crowds quickly. We arrived at 9:30 on Easter Sunday, hoping to beat the crowds only to be turned away from the park by a surly policeman and told to park half a mile back and over the bridge. That meant quite a hike for anyone with beach gear or children. I was then shocked that we still had to pay. We were assured that there were shuttle buses running every 15 minutes that would take us the several miles back to the car, but that was a total lie. Not one shuttle bus could be found and we looked for two hours for them. However, if you can drive into the park when it's not mobbed, it really is quite nice. There are five or six lots and each has a restroom and outdoor cold showers. There are a lot of picnic tables, in the shade, but forget the "concession stand" as it's a truck with really awful food.

Simply perfect! Affordable park, ample parking, beautiful clean beach with good enough services. The day we visited was a friday and didn't feel crowded at all. Even the weather was perfect. Awesome! Already want to go back.

It was a bit crowded on Thanksgiving weekend but still easy to find parking and a short walk to a private place to relax. Water was just a bit chilly but quick to get used to, sand white and soft. Some small shells this time. Have heard you can see dolphins but we didn’t on this trip. Perfect for sunset viewing. All-in-all a great beach.

we just moved here from the Hamptons. The beach blows away those beaches. It looks like a setting from Gilligans Island. The sunsets here are just gorgeous. When the water is clear you can snorkel and see a few types of fish. The shells are beautiful!

Excellent beach to spend a day relaxing in the sun or taking walks on this nice long stretch of beach.

We went to the park to walk on the trail & the trail is not open. Nothing in the website indicates the trail is closed. They could up date the website or have signage the trail is not open.

This is a nice quiet beach. Due to the limited parking, you may have trouble getting in, especially on weekends, but, there are fewer people on the beach. The sand is nice and the water depth is shallow. There are picnic tables and benches at each of the 5 parking areas. Fishing is allowed past parking lot 5.
There are trees and shade. Also, there are tortoises walking around.
There is a $6 fee per car for up to 8 people ( I believe that is the number). Walk and bike ins pay a fee also.

There are many nice beaches to choose from in this area but I think this Park has one of the best beaches in a 10 -15 mile stretch. Fine sand, ample parking and a beautiful setting all add up to a pleasant experience. It was not busy when I visited but guessing it gets heavily utilized in high seasons. Easy to find and not too far off the interstate if that is the direction you are coming from. Close to many restaurants and other retail needs that you might have. Very family friendly.

I'm always having a blast here, great for family get togethers and BBQ's. It is first come first serve so hurry to get there!
Park opens at 8AM!

We thoroughly enjoyed this beach. There were very few people there in the off season. We could park the car very near where we sat on the beach. The air temperature and water temperature was perfect. In the morning there is lots of shade back by the trees. The shore birds walked by us very close. And we even got to see a pair of Bald Eagles fly into the tree right above us and hang out for awhile. It cost $8 per car to get in. Rst roon facilities at beaches #1 and #3.

I walk the beach everyday and picked this one for a few days. Walk all the way to the north end and go thru wooded path tonWiggins Pass where all the fishing boats come out. We also go for beach day with family. Get there early as on weekends after 9:30 or so the lines back up and parking is in out lots with a shuttle. Inconvenient if you have a lot of beach equipment but you can put it on shuttle.

Have tried to go many times while staying in Naples but the park is always full and therefore closed (even tried going different times of the day). Waste of time driving there. No way of finding out in advance if it has available spaces or not. Too many people....not enough parking....water is murky and questionable to swim in. Used to be a go-to spot but not anymore.

Great park and easy parking to access the beach. Lots of picnic tables and bbqs too. Nice stretch of beach and nature. You may be lucky enough to spot a turtle or racoons. Enjoy!

We are big fans of Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park. At the end of Immokalee Rd off Tamiami (41), west of Vanderbilt Rd. The biggest headache when you want to go to the beach is how difficult it is to find parking (especially the Bonita beaches). There is plenty of parking (attached to five bath houses inside the Park). FL keeps the beach groomed and pristine as well as the surrounding environs natural. Beautiful beach that seems to stretch forever. In season, it can be extremely busy on the almost always sunny days. But, at least you have a SHOT at finding a place to get to the Gulf. In the early years of coming to SW FL we always bought a season pass. Don't do that anymore (and, not sure if they are still available). Usual state park entry fees, but well worth it. Bring a picnic lunch as there are NO places to buy food (used to have a really nice one but FL decided to remove it as it did not go with the "natural" surroundings. Place was like a beach bum's home; thought it was perfect! Oh, well). There are areas with grills and tables if you want to grill. Super kid friendly and the bath houses are well-spaced. The best.

We visited Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park in May. The beach was beautiful and peaceful. I have heard it gets busy during peak season, but when we went, it felt like a private beach.

We love this beach! Not packed at all, good facilities. Lovely white sand and fun shelling. Clear water good for little kiddos.

If you want to fish you need to drive all the way through the park to the last parking area, this is where the designated fishing is. Is it also where the river pass is. Walk through the paths till you get out to the beach and turn right. You can catch an amazing assortment of fish right off the shore. The fishing can be excellent!!!!! There are red fish, black drum, jacks, pompano, sheepshead, catfish, ladyfish, snook and I've even caught a flounder. Some of the fish can be huge! If you care looking for snook you'll need live bait and stay away from the pass. I personally don't fish them because its a small slot size you need an extra stamp on your license and its a pain to cast net the live bait and keep them alive. Live shrimp work the best and most fishing is done off the bottom, casting along the pass or out into the open water. You'll need a decent weight if you want to pre-set your rig. If you arrive early there is plenty of parking but DO NOT expect to roll up at noon on a holiday weekend/week and think you'll be fishing. Enjoy!

only few meters away from the beach - multiple times! Entrance fee is affordable, parking places sufficient, restrooms and showers available and the beach is clean - but of course not to be compared with Miami South BEach. However, all in all a nice and cozy atmosphere.

Had a great time in the water and on the beach. Super clean beach. Great restrooms right there. Easy and well maintained beach access.

Delnor Wiggins is a beautiful state park in a natural setting - no houses on the beach, no high rise buildings or condo's etc.
Very nice, clean beach and beautiful gulf water.
They do have showers, restrooms and a small concession truck in parking field 4.
On a clear night the sunsets are spectacular.. Go a little early, bring a sandwich, cocktail and a chair and relax.. The sunset is worth the show..
Enjoy..

Lovely beach North part of Naples parking is tight and requires a daily fee pit toilets no bathhouse. clean and beautiful palm trees.

We normally love this beach when we visit here. It's our favorite. But right now, the red tide is horrible. The water is dark brown, there are hundreds of dead fish on the beach and floating in the water. It will likely be gone in a week or two but if you're looking for a great beach right now, stay away from the Naples area. Marco Island is where we're headed today.

Great place to watch the sunset, or enjoy a day at the beach. Easy access, parking, and it wasn't crowded at all when we were there.

Obviously a beautiful spot, but after waiting in line in the car 15 minutes to get in , the attendant failed to mention that while you could park in all 5 lots, the actual beach from parking lot 3 all the way to parking lot 5 was closed. In March. On a Saturday. Bizarre. They are dredging and refurbishing the beach. If you were walking the beach from parking area 1 , you could be on the beach up until the edge of parking lot 3, then you have to cut thru the asphalt parking lot before getting to parking area 5. A heads up would have been nice. Wait to visit until project is complete.

What a fantastic beach, we visited 3 out of our 4 days in Naples, the first day we were going to visit but as it was a bank holiday it was extremely busy so we gave it a miss and returned the following day.
It costs $6 to park, we arrived just after 10 and left at 3.30 so this was really good value.
The beach is stunning, it was quiet and lovely, long stretch of white sand to walk along and collect shells, my husband and son fished while we soaked up the sun rays.
Whilst there we saw dolphins, manatee, fish, a selection of different birds, a raccoon and turtle.
Well worth the visit

My boyfriend and I first rode bikes from Big Momma's to Delnor-Wiggins on a weekday while visiting the Naples area. We were delighted to find a laid-back natural beach. We visited again over the weekend, and of course it was much busier, yet had no problem finding an open spot. It's a popular spot for families.

My family and me go to this beach almost everyday. Delnor-Wiggins State Park is so beautiful. Tons of shells, birds, sand and water. This beach is so gorgeous. Go and enjoy what the Lord gave us.

One of the best beaches in SWF. Access to the beach was close to the parking lots. The beach was pristine clean and water clear. You can wade out in the gulf a long way. We saw pods of dolphins close to the beach. Nice tree covered picnic table area. Definitely a place to take your family and spend the day.

This is a beautiful state park located bear Vanderbilt Beach in Naples, FL. There is a lot to do here with five parking lots to accommodate cars. Besides swimming, there are shaded picnic areas between each parking lot with boardwalks leading to the beach. You will find bath houses in each parking lot. There is a nature trail that winds over a mile to Wiggins Pass, a boat ramp and a picnic pavilion at the end of parking lot five. There is a $6.00 entry fee for each vehicle. During season and especially on weekends, the parking lots fill up quickly early in the day. There is also paid parking a distance away and a long walk over a hill to get to the park. This park is one of Naples' treasures and well worth a visit.

Clean rest. Rooms. Lovely beach with white sand and gentle waves.
Picnic tables in the trees with barbeque grills. Nice sunsets.

We had our wedding ceremony at Wiggins Pass state park, at beach site #5. There are a lot of natural elements for amazing photos. Site #5 is not really a hot spot because swimming isn't allowed there, but I have seen quite a few fishing in the area. If you chose this beach site - insect repellent is a MUST. Even if you are a bride in a wedding gown. The no-seeums don't care is its your special day, they will eat you alive! I felt them biting, and saw the tiny black bugs in my arms, but the next day is when you see the damage they cause. Many bites, welts, intense itching. Read up on them!! It's serious. They're most active from dusk til dawn - right when you're wanting to enjoy the sunset. We were only there for an hour.

Visited in November 2017 from Long Island, NY. This beach was absolutely beautiful. The entry fee was reasonable ($6 vs. the $20 I pay at home) and the beach was quiet and family-oriented. Lots of wildlife to look at it. Only problem we had was a pesky raccoon who was after our lunch - we moved, he followed. Overall, definitely worth a trip!

It is a nice beach and we saw a turtle. But paying for beach access is meh.
Additionally the numerous signs for Alligator danger made getting the wife out of the car a challenge.

I am a beach person, and I have high standards for the perfect beach. This is my favorite. Its secluded with a private feel. The sand is soft and white The beautiful gulf is calm and warm.

This is my happy place! The nature and wildlife Is what makes this beach so wonderful I see the dolphins almost every time I walk.

After trying the beaches of Naples and Marco island it was a relief to find a Beautiful beach to walk and shell on without walking into someone
6 dollars to park all day we took lunch the picnic areas were shady and clean and dogs are ok just not on the beach.Recomend this park to everyone What a jewel.

The beach was nice, but the rangers have gone postal. I have an annual pass to Florida State Parks, but I have never met less friendly rangers, anywhere! I went to this park twice in 2 days, and I was treated rudely by separate rangers on both occasions. That being said, the beach is beautiful and there is abundant wildlife. I saw raccoons, turtles, and Osprey. It's definitely worth a stop if you're in the area. Not sure what's up with the rangers, but maybe they just need a hug.

We were at Delmar-Wiggins State Park, on a sunny morning/afternoon in May. The beach was not very crowded which was great. The park is well cared for. The beach and facilities are clean and well cared for. We were able to rent beach chairs at the concession stand in parking area 4. They also offer paddle boards, kayaks, food&drinks. I would definitely go back.

Unfortunately, this park/beach was destroyed by hurricane Havey in September. They were working on building it back up. While the part was closed. There was a couple of spots on the beach you could go to that were GREAT and PERFECT for swimming in the ocean watching the sunset. We were from out of town so this was our only experience, but based upon what they were able to restore to this point, it must be a beautiful park and GREAT beach. Especially for sunset watching.

coming here for years. BBQs, walks on beach, swimming....the special attraction days are also great. Friendly staff, good facilities. Beautiful Florida!

In our Southwest Gulf Coast best beaches exploration, we ranked Delnor-Wiggins as one of the best. It has a nice, local feel, as opposed to resort crowds and activities. Perfect for easy parking, showering off sandy feet, clean restrooms and quality time spent relaxing on the shores of the Gulf enjoying the views, nature and swimming in the warm coastal waters.

This was our favourite state park (in our opinion nicer than Honeymoon Island) it was gorgeous and immaculately clean. The water was lovely and warm and was much much less crowded.

Love this place!! Florida nature and beauty at it's finest!!!
The day was cool and I love the nature trails!!

Beautiful day on the beach relaxing and enjoying the ocean and beautiful sand. The sunsets are stunning and most times you will always see dolphins playing in the water!

It is a lovely stretch of narrow but clean beach and shore flora including sea grapes. We had to pay $6 to enter but it included all of us in the vehicle (up to 6). In August the parking was easy. Bathroom facilities are easily accessible. The beach is beautiful and family friendly. The turtle nesting places were fenced in and protected during our visit. Walking along the beach the length of the State Park is very pleasant and interesting. Definitely a place to visit again.

Nice Beach but too expensive, 8.00 to park, 30.00 for 2 chairs and horrible beach food that was really expensive was highway robbery! Next time Siesta Key for free and a much nicer beach!

This is a beautiful beach. Fishermen love it. It’s hard sometimes to get into this park. It fills up early & they close the parking lot. We parked in the farthest lot when we did get in. That’s the fishermen’s lot. They fish at the end (the pass). We spent a few days here fishing & sunning. The current is strong at that end so you can’t swim. There are some nice shells sometimes.

Unusual for a beach to have trees running up to it. Parking can be a problem although Collier county has a parking lot but you then have to walk. It is worth it if you can walk
Need to bring chairs and your own food and drink

It is always so peaceful at this place. It's our favorite place to go. It was a lovely day and we spent most of our time walking and seeing all of the different shells.

No buildings in the background, just natural vegetation, soft sand and clear water. If you’re lucky, you may see big tortoises and interesting shore birds beyond the usual gull. We saw pelicans and skimmers. In the not so distant war we, spotted dolphins! Amenities in parking lot#4.

we drove from North miami for tye day and the drive was relativley quick. probably the same as driving to south beach and looking for parking. The park is very nice beautiful beach. a nice change from the Hotels scene. We brought our own food chairs and rafts. It is more of the quite thing not much there for food and activities other than the basics. We had a great day. reccomend for couples and families

Was much nicer than other beaches in the area, that says a lot because all the beaches are wonderful.

We recently visited while in town on vacation. The beach was nice and clean (Lots of shells) plenty of parking and just overall a nice place. I believe it was either 6 or 8 dollars per day. Definitely worth checking out.

Beautiful white sandy beach
Good chance to see dolphins swimming by
Safe family beach
Natural areas with boardwalk
May get see turtles
Bathrooms
Picnic areas

My husband and I had a bad experience at a nearby preserve that failed to tell us they were dredging off shore of the beach and that there had been a red tide event that left dead fish so when coming into the park we specifically asked if that was the case at this park...the ranger was extremely rude and acted as if that was a stupid question claiming to stay at parking area #1...we did as instructed..sure enough as we entered on to the beach there was the barge....they we're happy to take that $6 parking fee though. Hey just tell the truth...we wait all year for a vacation and spend hard earned $...this is not a game....packed up went back to hotels beach

Absolutely loved this beach. Sand is beautiful and the water is crystal clear. Restroom facilities are very clean. Unfortunate that you must arrive so early to obtain parking (my only negative)

Had some extra time on my hands so thought I would check out a public beach. Yes, so you pay to get in, so what!?
The beach was beautiful, LOTS of room to roam and the shells were in mounds on the beach, around the beach, everywhere. It was beautiful.

Since was the closet beach to our hotel in North Naples, we drove there one day to check it out. It was so beautiful we stayed all day. Yes there was a nominal $6 admission for the day, but we soon learned it was well worth the cost. Seemingly carved out of the the raw landscape, it feels so tropical and natural here. Everything they created here appears to have been done with preserving the natural setting as much as possible. It's a very beautiful locale.
There are separate parking areas for swimmers/bathers and fisherman. We parked literally steps from the beach and on the November day we were there, it wasn't crowded at all. Clean, restroom facilities are provided as well as a centralized food truck selling drinks and things to eat. The beach is as clean, unspoiled and beautiful as others have described. It's one of a kind that will soon be our favorite beach destination in years to come.
If you are a shell lover, this is is the place for you. The beach is FULL of shells - you could spend all day looking through the shells. But . . . there were so many, most of which are broken, that we found it difficult to walk on the beach without footwear. I'm not exaggerating - we had quite a few very small, not painful or harmful pieces of shells stuck in our feet at the end of the day. So the abundance of shells is a double edged sword - just be prepared. It won't stop us from coming back to this peaceful oasis in North Naples.

I love Delnor-Wiggins State Park - beautiful, and natural gulf beach in North Naples. Visited during "off season", and felt as if we had the gorgeous tropical beach to ourselves. Florida State Parks are reasonably priced, and seem to have less tourists than the major beach destinations in Fort Myers!!!

Nice beach. The natural setting is a plus. Tripadvospr wants more details but what can I add about a nice natural beach on the Florida coast.

This is a really nice way to spend the day or just a few hours. There is plenty of parking available in January. The fees were very reasonable to get in. The beach and water is absolutely beautiful. This would be a really nice place to have a picnic dinner at sunset. However you need to be mindful of raccoons. The walk from the parking lot to the beach is easy also.

Parking was not issue and reasonable price. Access to the beach within a short walk. Access to change and restrooms.

This park has a natural, undeveloped feel to it thanks to the vegetation and layout, where you walk through a grove of trees between the parking areas and the beach. There’s a section set aside for fishing/boating as well and it’s clearly flagged and designated for no swimming. There are lots of picnic tables in the shade. The beach itself is gorgeous; the water a subtle shade of turquoise, and the surf was mild when I visited. Water was a bit colder than at Lovers Key; not sure why, but I and others still went swimming; it wasn’t that cold once I got used to it. There’s a snack bar at parking area 4; there may be more at the other areas, of which there are five in total at the park. There’s also an observation tower behind parking area 5, but it was closed when I visited.
The only that I didn’t like was the presence of raccoons around the parking areas. There was a ranger shooing them away, but they may be attracted by food that visitors leave behind or throw in the trash. I had no problems with these critters but I kept my distance!
IMO this park has the nicest beach in the area, well worth a visit, and it’s quiet and just beautiful.

A wonderful gem along the paradise coast, a must visit for beach goers, kayaking, walkers, etc..... great nature paths, great beaches...

not as crowded and wider then other beaches. Had trouble locating the rest rooms, but other then that is was great.

This beach extends along the coastal state park. It can be quite crowded but the beach is nice and the natural background is nicer than looking at high rise condo buildings. There are restrooms at each parking area and they have some rental facilities at parking lot 4 (which we did not check out). Parking and entrance fee was $6 per car.

This was our favorite park during our Florida stay. The beaches were well maintained and the area beautiful. They had a shuttle to the beach from the parking lot which was quite handy as we had a lot of items.

This is an amazing beach! It's clean, has great sand and nice water. There is a food truck, showers, and restrooms.

Husband and I went for the day to check out this beach and surrounding area. This is a Lovely Beach. Very clean. Clear water and just enough waves. Parking was not an issue and easily marked. Plenty of garbage and recycling cans all around. Picnic tables and spray area to clean -off the sand. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend going to the beach at Wiggins State Park. Parking is cheap and the beach is clean and the water is clear. We visited multiple times in October and it was never very packed.

Loved this white sandy beach..not crowded. Loved the standard, pelicans, and saw dolphins in the distance..our favorite beach in the area.!

We love Delnor Wiggins State Park. By the time we usually visit in late April, there is plenty of parking. The beach is just lovely and quiet on weekdays. There are picnic tables and grills to bring your own food and cook out.

Easy access and a beautiful beach for swimming and snorkeling along the Gulf of Mexico. A fun day for $6 for a car with 4 people with a lot of parking. I highly recommend water shoes because getting into the water is shelly and a bit rough on your feet. Once out in the water, the bottom is nice hard sand and pleasant for swimming. They have a fishing section at the end that is separated from the swimming area.

This is a state park. This day it was full so needed to park in parking lot. Parking was full so we had to park in a lot for $8. Then walked 3/4 mile to get here then had to pay $4 to get on the beach. Sand is very fine and not to many shells. Water is cold in January.

If you drive about 1/2 hour north out of downtown Naples, you can come here to swim in the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. There is ample parking and beach equipment you can rent. There are bathrooms and a changing room. Sit back on your rented chair under you rented umbrella and watch the Pelicans and terns dive for their dinner. Swimming in the Gulf here is delightful.

This is a beautiful, undeveloped beach. We spend half a day there with some family swimming, some walking, some sitting and relaxing. We could retreat to beautiful shaded areas when the sun got too hot. We didn’t bring lunch but there were tables and grills available. Only $6/car for the entire day. I always hate the expanse of hot hot hot sand at beaches, so this beautiful beach with trees lining it was amazing. We stayed until the beautiful sunset. What a great discovery.

We are locals and Even though we drive past other beaches to get to Delnor Wiggins, it’s worth the extra drive time. There is plenty of parking that is close to the beach and the restrooms are plentiful and clean. I don’t mind lugging my beach goodies on to the beach, but at the end of the day, close by parking is a godsend! There are hibachi areas and picnic tables and we’ve found shaded areas to set up shop a few times that we’ve been there. For a clean beach with parking nearby, you can’t beat Delnor-Wiggins. There is an entrance fee (I think $8 per car).

Delnor-Wiggins State Park has all the tropical requirements for a wonderful family picnic and get-together. Easy to get to, beautiful white sand beach with plenty of shaded semi-private areas to have your event. Whether it’s a wedding with 100 people or a lunch with 10, it’s the perfect venue.

This park is absolutely beautiful. Truly one of the nicest beaches I’ve been to in Florida. From what I remember, you’ll want a car because there is a bit of a drive from the entrance down to the beach area, I don’t believe they allow lyfts or ubers down. There was a food truck with a very limited selection, I’d recommend bringing some snacks and drinks.

FYI: The picture of the sandy kayak/canoe launch is actually Barefoot Beach Preserve not Delnor-Wiggins State Park

This State Park is my favorite place in Naples/FL and I am glad to have the chance to be there. If I move one day to Southwest Florida I will be in the place every single weekend. I loved the water the emptiness and the peace this environment brings to your mind. I highly recommend it if you want to avoid the crowd.

Beautiful beach , very calm and clear water .
We love to come here for years . And it was not crowded on a saturday afternoon, cause all parking slots are open again now !

Off the beaten track so to speak. There are very few people on the beaches giving you space to breathe - or walk without tripping over people.
The highlight for me was when I spotted a pod of dolphins not too far out. I was hoping they'd come in closer, but they didn't.
Very clean beach, shallow and soft, powdery sand.

Love this beach. The walk from the parking lot to the beach is short. Bathrooms are nearby and there is a snack bar. The beach is clean. Relaxation awaits. And, you may see a manatee swim by.

Unguarded beach with Gulf waters. Managed by the state park, costs $6 to enter. Ample parking & bathroom facilities. The park has shaded picnic tables & life vests for children.

The location is great and the beach is fun. It closes after sunset. Though it can be enjoyed all day long, it is a great spot to enjoy sunset for several reasons:
Great views.
It is not too crowded.
You can make a dinner theme out of the sunset.
It is easy in and out at that time of the day.

Our family loved this beach because of all the amenities that it offered. It only cost $6 for the day. We liked that this beach offered picnic tables, shade, showers, bathrooms, and beautifully maintained beaches. I'm so glad that we discovered this state park! They also offered a concession stand, but we didn't purchase anything from there.

Great walking trail and plenty of bath houses. Nice beach access and great swimming. The ranger at gatehouse was very helpful and fun.

For only $6 per carload you can get into the park and swim on a wonderful beach. We snorkeled in the clear water and found lots of shells, sand dollars (many, many alive, which we left where they were) and coral pieces. We saw turtles and a raccoon. Will go back for sure!

This park is very well taking care off. I appreciate the fact how clean the bathrooms are and people treat the area with respect. Beaches are very nice and you can walk for miles with endless views of the shorelines.

It may be a nice beach, but don't go there is you're expecting a good nature walk. My wife and I were looking to take a nature walk in the Naples area somewhere we hadn't been. We found Wiggins Park online, listed as one of the 10 best, and decided to go. It turned out that, aside from the 3/4 mile walk along the beach, the nature trail part of it was all of about 100 - 200 yards.

Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park located near Vanderbilt Beach. Has parking, facilities, nearly a mile of natural beach. Lots of animals & birds, walking path, shaded alcoves with picnic tables and grills.

Our first day on the beach we went to Vanderbilt beach and loved it but thought we’d try a different part of the coastline. This state park was just up the road! We were pleasantly surprised how different a mile or so makes on a beach. It was nice having the tropical trees and Palms come right up to the beach and sandy line, this made for places that had shade which was nice for some....There were tons of shells and we had a great day enjoying this special park!! Really enjoyed ourselves!!! And only 6.00 to park!

I've been to Wiggins Pass many times for fishing. The white sand, turquoise water and views are just beautiful.

Wonderful beach $6 all day parking inside park. Short walk to beach. Found starfish here! Very cool.

Really like this beach, but not during season. Way over crowded. As most of the area. Great once the tourist aren't at peak. Parking care be a challenge in this area.

Unlike many of the Naples beaches, the state park offers many amenities. BBQ pits, nice restrooms, food trailers, kayak, paddle board and canoe rentals, fishing and swimming all along white sand beaches.

We were there in December and weather was perfect. water was not too cold and we were able to swim. The beach was absolutely gorgeous, not so crowded. We found amazing shells too.

Best beach we visited in the area. $6 to park, Rangers were very friendly. It was clean and natural with no shops only trees. The sand felt like melted chocolate in the surf, it was so soft. Tons of sand dollars in the water and shells lined the beach. Water was so warm in August. The area was perfect for skim boarding.

We walked along the beach, had a picnic breakfast at one of the picnic tables, and then rented a canoe and paddled around. It's a lovely beach. We were there the last week of March, and arriving early was a good idea -- it became very busy later in the day. Around 8 in the morning, though, the beach was beautiful, temps were pleasant, and our family enjoyed a nice long walk and small breakfast. We rented a canoe from one of the vendors in the park, and had a vigorous paddle around a bay. Saw a few birds; probably would have done better on the animal/birding front had we arrived even earlier (though I don't think the rental place was open earlier). Still, a nice outing and the canoe rental people were very friendly and accommodating.

Such a lucky find! Gorgeous sand and dunes. Vanderbilt Beach was jam packed but this beach was beautiful with plenty of room for everyone. Only 2 of 6 parking lots were open (the rest being renovated) but still we found parking after only a 5-10 minute wait.

Closes early in the day if crowded.
Gorgeous sunsets
Clean bathroom
Gorgeous bird watching
Watch out for the raccoons

We were transiting from Orlando to MIA Int and were to spend 1 night in Naples. I chose this location after research. On arrival, my wife and eldest son stayed in the Hotel, whilst I visited the park in with my 13 yr old boy. The staff were friendle, the parking cheap and the park, beautiful. The area was pretty much empty and in 3 hours we saw, caged and protected Turtle nests, Hatched Turtle nests with scattered shells, wild Tortoises, A Manatee, numerous Pelicans and some non venomous snakes. To cap it all, a friendly fisherman lent my boy a spare rod (nothing caught).

Teenagers enjoyed themselves with living the waves and frisbeeing. Relaxed beach, not crowded. Sufficient parking lots after paying park entrance fee of $6 per car. By foot or bike it is $2, but when with a group, it is $6 for the group.

There is no dog beach. We drove in traffic for 50 mins. They need to update their Web site. Very disappointed.

We parked fairly easily at midday and spent 2 hours jumping in the waves and lying on the white sand. The beach was clean and amenities are low key but adequate and gratifyingly uncommercial. Very nice beach experience..

Beautiful beach with clean amenities. This beach was wonderful for seashells and we couldn’t believe the amount of shells on the shore! Parking was plentiful early in the day and totally worth the entry fee! Pack a lunch and enjoy a picnic and a walk on the beach collecting shells.

this beach is close to my friends house, so it made it nice to go to on a daily basis. Its very easy to get too and not a long walk from the parking lot to the beach so its nice when you are carrying stuff. Its also pretty quiet and a nice beach to walk. And I have to admit I got a kick out of watching the Pelicans.

This beach is incredible! As Florida residents we have been to many beaches, and hands down Delnor-Wiggins is our favorite. This beach is very well kept, very nice showers and close parking. Beautiful sand and a nice walk out into the water. This is a must see for anyone in Naples.

We loved this beach! The water was clear and beaches were beautiful. I do wish the rinse off showers were easier to find, we just used water bottles to rinse our feet because we couldn’t find the showers the first few times.

Without doubt the best beach in SW Florida. Natural and great for wildlife sightings. Nice bathouses and secluded picnic areas. Great place to spend the entire day. During season the place gets busy and parking becomes an issue so just take the free Collier County Beach Bus. Google it. You can even flag it down anywhere on the route. Still costs $2 to get in the park but it is a deal.

This is our "go to beach." There are lot's of choices, but we always go to Wiggins Pass. Parking is easy; the beach is clean and it's just a nice place to go.

Good beaches plenty of rest rooms and even a kiosk to get some basic food and drinks. The state parks are usually good value and this one is no exception. $6 dollars to get in and enough to keep you busy all day. Brilliant.

Even though we are residents of Naples, this continues to be our favorite beach for us and the kids. There is a minor entrance fee. Bathroom facilities easily accessible. During busy season, the parking lot fills up fast, so get there early, especially on weekends! See website for more details.

Enjoyed a day here. The beach is beautiful and so clean. I actually went in the water! While the water was cold it was refreshing.

Nice beach with plenty of parking and shaded picnic areas. As with all of the beaches in the area there are a lot of shells on the beach and in the water and you may want to wear shoes.

Gorgeous views, great space for bbq and picnic. It has restrooms and open showers. Also has a party area for small gatherings. State park so you have to pay to enter but it’s a great place for family and friends.

We went to this beach in the afternoon and it was very relaxation and pretty. Easy drive from East Coast of Florida. Not congested, no load noises and a very pretty beach. Great place to catch the sunset.

An absolutely lovely state park with lots of restrooms, bath houses, etc. Highly recommend if you're in North Naples.

This is a truly lovely beach. I come here three times a year from the UK with my husband and sometimes we are joined with the grandchildren. Ideal for adults and children of all ages. This beach is nature as its best!

We enjoy visiting this natural, FL State Park beach. There are plenty of parking areas, if you go early on week-ends. Picnic areas are available before you walk onto the beach. A State Park pass is very helpful as there are daily charges for using the area.

Hard to believe they preserved this much beach front property for a public park - it is absolutely amazing. Beautiful beaches, plenty of facilities and picnic tables. Not overly crowded. LOVED this park!

I loved this beach, as it wasn’t over crowded with people. The shells were fun to find and the sand was nice and white. Easy access from the park for everyone. Nice restroom available too.

Ended up coming to this park after having been in Marco Island for the past week. To be a state park it surpassed my expectations. Water was clear and accommodations were adequate. The park rangers were friendly and even helpful with the overcrowding situation that happens frequently on weekends and high season. The park was closed to cars when we first arrived but after driving around looking at the amazing scenery we came back and it was back open to cars. This is the only negative but you should never have to wait long.

This beach still feels untouched as you walk to the far end, its just beautiful with lots of varieties of shells. Also my husband tried his hand at fishing & caught a Spanish Makarel.

What a great beach! And what a great beach for families. It is a State Park so $6 parking for the day. Nice white sand, very clean, water is beautiful, shallow out for quite a ways, not much wave action so fantastic for the littlest kids. Great paddle boarding, lots of boards out today. Shaded spots for picnicking and grills provided. Bring the hot dogs and we will see you there!

Gorgeous sunsets! It is worth going here and hanging out just to see the sunset. You must take a picture or pictures of this!

A wonderful state park in North Naples Florida. The beach is beautiful and there are paths in the mangroves, bath houses, toilets and some grills for cooking. The sandy beach can't be beat and the staff there are very friendly. I love this place. I think I'll go there again tomorrow!

Beach, wildlife, bathrooms, a typical Florida beach. Great for families, picnics, some beverages available etc.

Get early as very popular. Entrance fee of $6 total for the car and people. Popular for walking, bathing and some birding. Good facilities for dressing, restrooms and outdoor showers, picknicks.

Nice blend of being a natural setting with conveniences of restrooms, shower, food stand, and equipment rental. Shelling is nice, but need to come early in the morning. Food prices are very reasonably priced so there's really no need to bring your own. Enjoyed canoeing to the beach.

Small parking areas with boardwalks and restrooms near beach. Beaches with gorgeous views. Parking area #4 had beach rentals and snack truck, but the restrooms were closed, so we parked at #5 area.

Our favorite spot. this parks cost only $6 to enter for the day.
Take your own chairs and towels with you and other things to make it a great beach day. There are several parking lots along the beach and they all have outdoor showers and bathrooms. Several have rentals : canoes , longboards and sell drinks and food. There are also Bbq s available in between the parking and beach in the shaded lagune area and there are benches and tables.

I love this beach. Great shelling, white sand, and clean. You cannot bring alcohol however, so make sure to plan accordingly. I highly recommend this beach.

Don’t count on being able to rent an umbrella or chairs. As a family who flew to Florida on vacation we relied on the website that said umbrellas were available to rent. When we got there the concession and rental stand looked abandoned and the phone number on the sign never answered. Looked like a beautiful beach, but sadly we couldn’t stay to enjoy it.

Great beach ! Sand was awesome & water calm and clear! Had our 6 & 3 yr old and it was perfect ! There were plenty of parking spots but we get there about 9:30-10 on a Sunday morning .

Spent the day at this park. Great value for six dollars. Can get busy this time of the year. Fishing good in the morning along Wiggins Pass Canal. Local bait shop can help can you. Decent bathrooms and picnic areas. Real nice park, we found it to be better sand and less busy than Bonita Springs Beach. Only about 5-10 minutes further south. Recommended!

This has always been our family's favorite beach in Naples because it's not all over-grown with high-rise buildings. It's left very natural and undisturbed. It typically doesn't seem as busy as some of the other beaches, either. It just has more of a laid-back, slow-paced, undisturbed atmosphere. We love it. So much wildlife, too--we usually see dolphins, birds, and great shelling. Favorite beach.

Great bird watching very good guide on the tram. We went back to walk the Calusa shell mound trail which was very interesting if a bit under marked where the shell mounds actually were. Very informative. Anhinga drying is. Check out the white feathers!

White sand and not a lot of people. Very relaxing and quiet. Lots of opportunities to find a variety of shells.

The Pass offers both a great beach and most of the time great shelling! We usually go to the last parking area but there are several and they offer picnic areas and beach access. The last area has a small trail that offers a tower to climb.

Luckily, by the time we arrived, the Red Tide was gone and the beach was cleaned up from the dead sea life that washed up. It’s s nice little beach on the gulf.

Pleasant area to kayak. Good launch site but no restrooms near the launch. Good access to the “Gulf cut” and the beach. The starting point of the trail portion is poorly marked but once in the Trail, the markers are visible. Overall between the beach, trail approach, and trail, it’s a worthwhile experience

We tried to go to another beach area the night before and it took so long to find a place to park that we missed the sunset. The following night, we tried Delnor-Wiggins Pass and it was a breeze. It cost us $6 to enter, but it was worth it. We parked 10-steps from the walk over and the water was another 20-steps from the end of the walk-over. The beach was clean and beautiful.
While the park was a high recommendation, I will warn that when someone tells you the Red Tide is coming in, prepare for a rough beach visit. Our hotel had mentioned this when we checked in, but didn't really know what that meant. I started coughing as soon as I got out of the car. I thought I had swallowed wrong. By the time we made the short walk to the beach, I felt like my nose and throat were tingling and the coughing continued. We noticed that others were doing the same thing and then realized that this was the result of the Red Tide. We stayed for about an hour to watch the sunset, but not sure we could have suffered through much more. I can't imagine how bad this is when the Red Tide actually arrives.

Excellent beach, clear water and not to hot, the only problem is that it was too crowded and it was very difficult to find a parking lot

Unusual for a beach to have trees running up to it. Parking can be a problem although Collier county has a parking lot but you need to pay or have a beach pass you then have to walk. It is worth it if you can walk
Need to bring chairs and your own food and drink

Crowded in February. Not the wide beaches of SC but weather was great. No sign in parking lot or boardwalk for restrooms. Charge for parking.

This is a gorgeous state park! We enjoyed our time at the beach, and just being in the beautiful natural setting.

Stopped by on a Friday. Got there about noon. It is an extremely hot day and the park was pretty full, but parking available. It is a road with 5 parking lots with short boardwalks over to the beach. The water at this time (late June) was crystal clear and beautiful. People just lazing on beach, in shade and floating in water. Some fisherman down by the pass. Not an unruly crowd. Very clean. Good bird life and butterflies and native fauna in the woods. Not a lot else to do here but go to the beach... but what a beach!!!! It is $6 per car for entrance. Need exact change.

Wow! $6 to park and a very short walk to the sparkling white sandy beach. Shells, shells, and more shells! Water delicious and clean. We stopped at Beach #2, then tried Beach #4 which we liked best. It had huge sandbars with thousands of shells. The water is so warm! It is the perfect beach for toddlers and little kids, as the sandbars made natural pools and there were no waves to speak of.
Beach #4 has a concession stand in the parking lot offering some food and drink items. It may also have had rental beach chairs and umbrellas (not sure).

good parking relaxing beach beautiful , woodsy, picnic bathrooms showers.......................small fee to enter per car small food truck

Great spot to enjoy the beach. Clean and easily accessible beach from parking. Restrooms and shower up kept and security patrolling often. Definitely will visit again. Parking was $6 for our vehicle which could be prepaid online.

We tried this beach for the first time and were pleasantly surprised at the convenient parking and the beautiful water and small waves. The beach is the same as Bonita Beach but less crowded and had lovely sand and water. It made a great visit with family.

Wide beach, soft tan sand, but the water was brownish-green and a cold 68 degrees. Not sure if it's the gulf beaches in general but from Siesta Key, to Sanibel Island to this beach to Marco Island, the beaches are all greenish brown. Nothing like the clear caribbean-like waters of South beach Miami or Fort Lauderdale. The pictures of these gulf beaches online MUST be retouched. If the water is not important to you, then these beaches are fine.

State Park has a great beach plenty of parking with bath houses and showers at each area of parking Shade trees to set up your beach chairs if you wish to be father from the seaside

We visited this beach park twice, it was so relaxing and not too crowded, though the car parks fill up quickly. Nice to stroll along the shoreline and collect shells, watch the various birds in the area, and just soaking up the surroundings.

Wow, what a beautiful clean beach. The beach area has food, parking, bathrooms, volleyball court, rentals (kayak, beach chairs, umbrellas and paddle board) and great sand for walking.

Some areas in the water were a bit rocky, but if you walk just a few feet over it's a lot better. There was a bit of current which meant a bit of a work out, but overall it was an enjoyable day at the beach.

This area was recommended by a coworker who has a home in Naples. It was perfect for us, close to everything, good facilities, and we were up close and personal with the ospreys, dolphins, sea turtles and more. Will return!

If you want a beach with a more “natural” feel, this is a great place to visit. Picnic tables, clean restrooms, and shade in the park and a long sandy beach just steps away.

A wonderful walking beach and not crowded in early February. Water may have been too cold for swimming, but standing in ankle-high water was a treat. Watching pelicans swoop down with precision to target small fish was mesmerizing. Bathroom facilities available near car parking area.

A great place with beach that never ends. Nothing but blue water and white sand. We went shelling for hours along the shoreline. This is the best way to spend your winter, on the beach and 80 degrees.

We're visiting the area and I found this beach on Tripadvisor. We went this afternoon for a few hours and stayed for the sunset. It's a very nice beach. Soft white sand and lots of room. We got there a little later in the afternoon and found plenty of parking. The $6.00 fee was well worth it. I liked that they had a restroom and showers to spray off the sand. It seems like a really nice park, but we didn't explore any more than the beach.

This is a lovely beach to visit when alone or with a large group.
There is ample parking, charcoal grills, and concessions.

Lovely beach with close parking and easy access to bathrooms. Note: if the lot is full and you park at the nearby city park ($10/day) to walk in, you also need to pay the pedestrian entrance fee.

During previous vacations to this part of Florida, we had visited exclusively Barefoot Beach. This time, we were staying in Naples Park, so we decided to give Delnor Wiggins a try. The fees to enter here are cheaper than Barefoot Beach, six dollars per car or four dollars if you are a single occupant of a car. Barefoot Beach is eight dollars.
There are many parking areas to pick from, there are only facilities at the first one I believe. We went to the very last parking lot each time, and enjoyed the small amount of crowds there. The beach is very nice, and the water was beautiful! It is a short walk to the very end of the park area where it curves around into the channel between it and Barefoot Beach. There are a lot of cool, old trees that have fallen into the water in that area which make a great backdrop for family photos if you are interested in that type of thing. We came to this beach several times during our trip, and always enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend it.

Biked here and found a secluded spot to enjoy some time with the family. Note that there is an admission fee (pretty minimal).

There is a minimal fee for the state park entrance, but the beaches are gorgeous (the best we visited on the trip). Park in parking lot four for easy access to concessions (popsicles for the kids) and bathrooms (which are clean). If you get there early in the morning, you might be able to snag a covered pavilion with a grill and use it as a picnic area. The sand is ridiculously soft, the water is clear (and was perfect for small children when we were there). Our kids spent hours making sand creations while we relaxed on the beach.

Quiet, nice, clean state park. Enjoyed walk on the beach and exploring the park. Disappointed in the tower as you cannot see the Gulf, just treetops.

Spent 2 relaxing days on the beach. Beautiful beach, well maintained. Worth the $6 per car fee, you can leave and come back for sunset just save your receipt. The turtles can be seen along the roadway eating or maybe crossing the road, drive slow and enjoy the scenery.

We returned three times during our week in Naples. Lots of wildlife to watch and it wasn't overcrowded. Water was clear and warm with little waves.

Beautiful beaches that go on and on! One of our favorite places inn the world! Our must go to when in Naples!

We came here for a picnic lunch for our drive up the coast. They have plenty of parking and picnic tables with ocean views. We also took a nice stroll down the beach. It was not too crowded, so it makes for a more relaxing beach experience.

Very nice park with everything you may need available. Staff, and patrons were all friendly, and nice. Went almost everyday I was in Florida. Reasonable parking rates.

This is a stunningly beautiful beach and as it's a state park, there's a $6 entry fee per car. This I can only imagine is the reason that the beach is so quiet. The sand is beautifully white and the sea is invitingly warm with many pelicans swooping down to catch fish right in front of you and with all the other birds, this is a wonderful place to spend the day.

This is a great area to find your "private" spot on the beach. The location is easy to get to and great for visitors.

Great State Park. We were visiting from Canada and loved it here. It wasn't overly busy when we were there, umbrellas were available for cheap as well. Small food cart in the parking lot, and the beach was beautiful!!

Gorgeous beach, clean restrooms, and very easy parking. I would highly recommend this area. Great to explore for seashells.

This beach is just surrounded by natural beauty. This is a beach that’s protected and not commercialized. I come as often as I can!

This is our favorite beach when visiting Naples, parking areas for enough cars, short walk over the dunes to the beach, lots of shells, bathrooms and rinsing stations. not crowded, either!

The park is clean and has bathrooms and changing area for convenience. It was $6 to enter with a van full of beach goers. Parking was easy... beautiful beach, a bit crowded. We we're intrigued by the gator warning but didn't see any!!!

One entry fee, lots of parking, multiple bathrooms and changing areas! We were there in the morning for a walk to the pass and were able to stroll the beach in the shade. At the pass there were terms, willets, egrets and dolphins. What a great beach experience!

Favorite beach in Naples. We liked parking lot 5 because it is not as crowded. When you walk out the boardwalk to the beach there is swimming to the left and to the right is a great walk to the inlet of Cocohatchee River.
There are great photo ops in both direction. An osprey nest in one the old trees. Picnic tables if you are lucky to get there early enough. We like to go later in the afternoon and stay until sunset. The walk back to the car isn't far so no problem with the no-see-ums at dusk.
Important fact, there is a restroom/dressing facility at this area.

Found the best shells of my trip to Naples at this state park beach - we went to several parking areas and checked it out in several places.

Yeah, ever so often I am at the beach and I discover that I need to visit the facilities. Most Naples Beaches, this urge means trouble of one type or another. Wiggins has restrooms! And tables and a grill and shade trees and a dude selling snacks. Perfect!

Easy parking, restrooms, grills - great beach access and an observation tower... Not
to mention shower! This is our favorite of all the beaches. Yes, you do have to pay
to enter - well worth it! Great spot..

Soft Sand, great for picnicking, lots of benches and grills with plenty of private space for all different sizes of groups.

This is hands down one of the prettiest beaches that I go to.
If you go all the way to bathhouse 5, there are plenty of shady areas for people looking for a break from the sun.
There are a couple of bathhouses being remodeled right now so I would ask when entering the park - and park your car accordingly.
There were plenty of dolphins and manatees also.
Last visit 7/23/21

Monday through Friday is great. Saturday and Sundays this place is overtaken by large hispanic groups who comandeer all of the grills and picnic areas. They are loud , the music is loud and there is little supervision of children.
Easily accessible
Best part: Beach to parking lot ratio is very short! Very easy to get to at the end of Immokalee and only $6 entrance fee into this State Park. We’ve been wintering in Naples for the past 3 months and go to Delnor-Wiggins about once a week, weather permitting (several cold days late Dec/early Jan). Skip the concessions tho, unless you like microwaved burgers and hot dogs. 4 parking areas spaced over a long area with ample parking but don’t arrive later than 10am in season or you won’t get in! Much less crowded than Vanderbilt Beach just up the road and lots of pelicans on the water. Even saw some dolphin playing in the distance.
