No complaints. The experience was exactly as described. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely return. Photo package is expensive and tempting. My husband was an observer and got several great photos.

I read some of the reviews of people that had a bad experience so I was a little apprehensive.
I guess it could be crowded and things can go wrong ( it's not a Disney ride and animals have their own mind).
Our experience was one we will cherish forever. Getting in the water with these beautiful, smart, and powerful creatures is life changing.
Somehow these mammals can size you up and know your strengths and weaknesses instantly. You got a bad hip, torn knee etc the Dolphins know it. --- they act different with children that may be handicapped or fearful vs an adult that may be physically fit. The trainers will teach you about their sonar capabilities that humans don't possess.
I had some pull me around at full speed and push me around ( for fun) But the same ones would almost cuddle and sing with my daughter like a puppy.
It's somewhat pricy and they want to make a money off the photos --- but it's well worth it.

disappointing experience. 1 hour of "teaching" together with approx. 40 others before there was time to get in the water. Here it was a larger event with 3 other families. Only 3 things were made with dolphins, per person - but otherwise you could stare at other people's activities in the meantime. 600 dollars for 3 people. In addition, rude staff, which made photography difficult for paying observants. Pure money machine. No recommendation from here.

My sister has Multiple sclerosis but it has always been her dream to swim with the dolphins. She finally made it through Dolphin Plus. We were lowered in the water and Sam "our" dolphin interacted with us. Including a kiss for each of us. It was a wonderful experience.

My daughter had a wonderful time during the shallow experience. Molly was awesome! She will always remember this.

Friendliest people we could meet.
Our dolphin encounter was a rare treat.
People (owners and staff) displayed enotmous pride, respect, for each other and their dolphins.
They very kindly shared their experiences with guests.
Up close and personal encounters with well trained dolphins. Our visit was educational and exciting.
A must do adventure.

Swimming with dolphins has always been a bucket list thing for me, so we went even though we were traveling without the kids this trip. Dolphins Plus was a great intimate experience in a natural environment. They only take small groups, and really listen to the needs of the dolphins. The staff were friendly and made sure we had fun. My husband bought the $10 spectator pass and was able to take videos, and the photographer took some great photos, too. You have the option to buy individual photos if you don't want the whole package. I would love to take the kids to see the Keys and the dolphins at Dolphins Plus.

Fantastic experience, dolphins are very sweety and the trainers are so good. I enjoyed very very much!!

Hands down my family's favorite activity we did over spring break this year! We're ready to return and do the signature swim with Alphonso and Bob again!! Staff was great and friendly, too.

We really enjoyed the structured swim, the friendly welcome by the crew and the thorough briefing. The time with the dolphins in the water however was way too short, only around 20 minutes. After the "official" program we hoped to stay in the water for some more time to enjoy our friends, keeping in mind that the dolphins need enough rest. But this was unfortunately not possible, no reason given. In this context we consider the price of $210 as way too high. Especially when you have to pay another $80 for the photos. Why don`t you include the photos in the $210? Taking pictures and to send them home by mail is not much effort. Be careful this does not get the scent of a tourist trap.

It's always amazing to see into the world of other animals that we don't get to see every day, but it's so much just to swim with them and see the show, I know the money goes to care for them but dozens of people go in every day. how much could a dolphin need? being in key largo i'm sure you can just get on a boat go out to the water and see a dolphin in the wild where they should be, but being to see them and touch them up close is awesome. Tourist would love it..but try putting in discounts or bundles, it would help a lot. :)

We recently visited Dolphins Plus. Only two in our party did the 'structured' swim with the dolphins. The structured swim is in deep water and more interactive than the shallow water experience. We listened in on a very informative talk (15-20 mins) about dolphin behavior and the particular dolphins that inhabit Dolphins Plus.
Then the interaction with the dolphins took place. Our party split time with another party during the structured swim. The dolphins were 'misbehaving' so there was a time out where we had to walk away for about 10 minutes. In all, the two in our party.... together in the water, spent about 10 minutes interacting with the dolphins. Again, they didn't separately spend time with the dolphins, this was a ten minute experience in all for $210.00.... a piece.
Much too expensive for very little activity with the dolphins.
The only reason I gave an average review was the people who run/work with the dolphins were very informative and really seemed to enjoy what they do.
What I thought would be the highlight of our visit to Key Largo was a really just an very expensive/mediocre experience.

I was lucky enough to swim with the dolphins here whilst on our recent visit to the Keys.
Amazing experience with 2 of the female dolphins & also Jet the baby.
Would definitely recommend ⭐️

We have 4 person did Swim with Dolphin in deep water, For 4 person, the totally played time(from get in water to l get out water) is just 10 mins. And the lady who guided Dolphins actually forgot 1 play(Due to first group used little more time, so she just want to finish the play as soon as she can) and we had to pointed out to her.
Also for picture, every group they assign a photographer, no matter you paid or not, but when when called to check photographer thing, they told me that if you don't pay the money for photographer, maybe no photographer take photo for you.

Unbelievable experience. Family of five and my father in law had the experience of a lifetime. This is the must do of Key Largo. Krista was our trainer and she was fabulous. The personal interaction with the dolphins was more than we ever dreamed. It is definitely worth the money. We opted for the picture package. The personal photographer was great. The shots were amazing. The packages are pricey, but decided to go with it since it was our "once in a lifetime" experience. We were not disappointed. Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing experience
We did the swim with dolphins and as a group of 4 we had the trainer and two dolphins to ourselves for approx half an hour which made it feel personal and wonderful. We started with some dolphins kisses stroking their front and back and watching them jumping over the pole they brought us. We then got pushed out into the lagoon by the dolphins and swam back holding onto their fins. After our session we were able to stay and watch the other groups, the trainers were in no rush for us to leave encouraging us to ask questions afterwards and take more photos of the dolphins swimming in the lagoon after all the sessions
Thank you
I do feel the sessions were dolphin lead if one of them wasn't interested the other took over we had luna who was very up for showing us what she could do.

Swimming with dolphins was something I definitely wanted to do on our visit to the Keys. I am so glad we picked Dolphins Plus. The instructions were very clear and they made it so easy for us to interact with the dolphins. We are huge animal lovers, so I was very impressed when they told us that they wouldn’t force the dolphins to perform if they weren’t feeling it. It is so important to teach respect for animals. Luckily for us, Samantha and her baby Luna were totally feeling it, and we had a great experience and amazing photos.

Excellent staff and an amazing experience
Being able to get so close to the dolphins was fantastic. Totally enjoyed spending time one on one with the dolphins.
Shame that it cost so much more additionally for photos considering they are uploaded digitally.

The staff at Dolphins Plus are very knowledgable and experienced and this makes your Dolphin experience one of the best.

Captain Dave was so knowledgable. Trip was great. We're even saw manatees up close. Definitely worth going, lots of fun. Boat was comfortable.

I’ve been here a couple of times to swim with the dolphins. The structured swim is the best. Don’t pay more to be rushed through a program at Discovery Cove just to be rushed through with a zillion tourists. This is a true dolphins encounter with an excellent educational piece as well.

My family came here just for the Spectator option because at first my family did not want to swim with the dolphins. So, we sat off to the side and watched the dolphins. However, after seeing the fun people were having with the dolphins, we definitely wished we had signed up for the interactive part. The people that work here really care about the dolphins. The dolphins seemed happy as they swam in their lagoon. Watching the iguanas fall from the tree was enjoyable too. Everyone that was here for our time slot had big smiles on their faces. It was a great time and I would highly recommend Dolphins Plus Bayside.

We were traveling with a 10 year old and this encounter was just perfect! They had a shallow area where she could stand and her trainer Jenna did a wonderful job making sure each person had special one-on-one time with the dolphin. These guys are very organized and ran the group like a well oiled machine. Even the observers had a great time watching. Bring your good cameras so you can take some great shots from the observation deck. All of the staff were very sweet and friendly, I highly recommend this amazing experience!

Amazing experience, completely worth it. We learnt a lot about dolphins and enjoyed it a lot.
We paid additional fee for the photos and they were beautiful and speechless.

Forget going to Orlando (all joking aside, we have been there twice!) Lol! While Orlando offers plenty of great theme parks and amusement parks, Dolphins Plus Bayside provides your family with a unique, real, and authentic experience that is beyond magical (and you don't need Tinkerbell and her magic wand). Our family of three spent the afternoon at Dolphins Plus Bayside. Customer Service and friendliness was beyond excellent! Cleanliness of restrooms, changing rooms, gift shop and grounds was top notch. We paid for the structured deep water swim with dolphins for our family of three. The two trainers who worked with us made it a true family together time experience and also made sure the dolphins were very comfortable. The dorsal tow may have been the highlight but the other interactions including the kiss and push are "icing on the cake." To register, sign waivers, shop in the gift shop, outdoor but fan cooled and shaded educational briefing and in water time with dolphins was about 3 hours. At least 40 minutes was in water time with the dolphins. The price is much lower than what you would pay for this experience on a cruise or at Discovery Cove in Orlando. And the best part is you are actually doing it a penned off area of the bay. It is as natural as you can get without breaking U.S. laws. We paid in advance around $90 for the photo package. We had a photographer assigned to our family. The pictures came out amazing and our worth every penny. I have paid for studio pictures that didn't come out as good or capture the moment as well. Book today!!! You will not be sorry.

A fantastic experience Luna and Nyla were wonderful and so were there trainers! Great memories and so glad that we spent time with you all!

We were in Key Largo last week and my children had an opportunity to learn about and swim with dolphins. Our guide and trainer, Jackie, was wonderful. We all learned a lot and then my kids got into the lagoon and swam with two of the resident dolphins. We had the photos taken from the place and they came out amazing. Both my kids loved the experience.

It gets 1 star because zero wasn’t an option!! Staff was rude on arrival. We paid $210 per person for a 35-45 min “swim with dolphin” encounter..........yeah right!! Each person was actually “in“ the water for approx 5 min and the trainer never entered the water at all. Whole thing was rushed and very disappointing. Complained to management but have yet to hear back with a resolution. NEVER AGAIN

Dolphins Plus was great. I loved that they did an educational component. They were very clear that they operate on dolphin time and didn’t force them to do anything they didn’t want to do. It was a great experience and my 8 year loved it. I would come here again

My 13-year-old son and I did the Signature Swim with mom-and-daughter Nyla and Mika. IT WAS AMAZING! Our trainer, Chantel, was super high energy and enthusiastic! She was fantastic teaching us how to interact with the dolphins. We had a couple in our group, so 4 people in total, so our trainer was able to focus on us and we weren't lost in the shuffle. We were able to touch the dolphins, got "kisses", and we "swam" with the dolphins by holding on to their fins. Chantel knew their personalities really well and educated us quite a bit. This was an incredible experience that we will never forget. We hope to return and highly recommend to everyone!

We went for the shallow water experience. The kids (10, 14, 16) had an amazing time!!! it was so cool and different. The staff was wonderful from the lady at the gift shop to the trainers. They really respected and cared for the dolphins too. Definitely worth the money.

My wife's lifelong dream was to have an experience with dolphins. Dolphins Plus Key Largo did not disappoint. They obviously care deeply for their dolphins and it shows. The trainers are very knowledgeable and take the time to explain the how's and the why's of everything. The time spent at Dolphins Plus is a treasured memory and a Must Do in the Florida Keys

An extremely wonderful experience. Host was very knowledgeable about the animals and they (the dolphins) were so interactive and so much fun.
The entire staff was there to make sure that we enjoyed every minute of our visit, and we did.. I recommend without any reservations.. A great experience..

We are happy to recommend Dolphins Plus! Our son, Jack, enjoyed two weeks of their Dolphin Camp and is already asking to go back. Mary Lou and the staff are fantastic and he had an incredible time swimming with the dolphins.

After asking around most people recommended this place for interacting with dolphins , my understanding that showed are better in key west but if you want interact with other dolphins better do it in key largo, we booked by phone and the staff comparing to surrounding places were better at explaining offers and help arrange your visit.
They give you enough time and really nice experience.
Before starting you get an introduction and some facts about dolphins.

My daughter and I had a great experience with the structured swim experience. We had a great time and the photographer got lots of wonderful pictures.

The shallow water swim is a complete waste of time if you are over 12 yrs old. The Signature Swim which takes place simultaneously and in view is much much better. In fact if you book Shallow Swim and you have older kids ( or if you are doing it yourself) and you see the Signature Swim going on you will be very disappointed.

Once in a lifetime experience. Staff were knowledgeable, kind, and patient. From the moment we were welcomed at the front desk with our name on the board through the end the staff were friendly and informative!

Despite the high price, this was definitely worth every cent. It was amazing. The dolphins were so fun to watch, and you could easily tell they enjoyed every second of the fun and attention. Our kids had the time of their life. We have the most amazing pictures. I'd highly recommend this!

This was a great experience that my 11 and 9 year old kids will hopefully remember forever. My 2 year old and I watched and took pictures. There is a great area for observers to watch as long as your group is in the closest section to the observers. They run it efficiently and when our group was done we were able to leave even though the entire group wasn't finished.
Cons:
the girl leading the education part before the encounter had the most robotic unnatural voice. It was difficult to listen to and therefore I don't think my kids got as much out of the presentation as they could've.
Expensive

Wonderful wonderful experience for two teenagers - excellent orientation and personable and efficient trainers: one of the girls went into the water with the dolphins, the other stayed on the dock to interact with a dolphin, but both thoroughly enjoyed their experience. Even though there is a time limitation, we did not feel rushed at all. There is an opportunity to order photos - we did that - but also found that, at least for the dockside part, a good telephoto lens should be able to capture the interaction very well from the general viewing area - there is also one person who can accompany each family member doing the encounter but still at a certain distance.

I had always wanted to do a dolphin experience of some kind and never had the opportunity. Before we left for the Keys I researched all the places that had them but Dolphins Plus was the only one that had a shallow water experience which was perfect for us. The lowered us down on a platform into the water about waist deep. Our trainer was "G" and our dolphin was Leo. We learned a lot about dolphins from the briefing and our trainer. Leo is a well known dolphin because of his many sounds/words he knows so we felt really lucky to get to know him. I'm also glad that we paid for the photo package because we'd never had been able to get the pictures we got without it. It was an experience of a lifetime and I'm so glad we did it!

Great experience. Another thing off bucket list. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Did the waist deep to meet dolphins. Lots of interaction with the dolphins.

We had a party of 6 - 4 kids and 2 adults. Three of us did the structured swim and three did the shallow water. All of us had an incredible time! We got to touch the dolphins, get pulled through the water (in structured), give kisses and briefly interact. I do wish it had been longer though. For $1,300, I could have enjoyed the experience longer. I am having a difficult time downloading the photos I purchased. Hopefully the link will work when I’m home and on a desktop pc. This was a bucket list experience!

This was my third time experiencing the magic at Dolphins Plus in Key Largo. This was The first time at Oceanside and by far the best experience yet! The staff was amazing! Me and my 31 year old and 13 year old daughters were treated like family. My 13 year old, Julia said, "I felt so welcomed! They made me feel like I was really part of their Team!" And that's an understatement! Thank you to Krista, Kelley, Wendy, Chantal, Bethany, and the others whose names I have forgotten! But most of all thank you to Dinghy, BB, Tug, Isaac, Alfonz, Bob and the other Dolphins who welcomed us into their pod and made us their family! We can't wait to come back!!!!

I had had reservations about these dolphins in captivity until i understood these were born in captivity and cannot live in the wild. They have devoted, wonderful trainers there to keep them stimulated with challenges, and we tourists were aids to that, the trainer's toys. I was elated throughout, as were my adult friends---spellbound by watching the dolphins, their trainers' skill with them (and us) , and the pure joy of interacting with them in the water as they "showed us their stuff"---their intelligence and enthusiasm. There were juveniles with their mothers learning all the skills and complex tricks. For me the most fun was being rapidly propelled forward by a pair of dolphins pushing my stiffened legs and feet! An amazingly fun experience! But every moment was spectacular and I will always be grateful. Expensive: of course! So much to support there and I am very glad I can afford to contribute to their healthy lives. Thanks to that organization!

I live in the Keys and have taken several family members here on different occasions. Everyone always has a great time and it is a tremendous experience to get up close with a dolphin! However, this last time the workers were not so great , very controlling and I must say dissappointing. I had my niece who is a very good swimmer with us. Before we got in the water after the orientation, one of the trainers told us ( referring to my niece) " wow we have to keep an eye on her. the dolphins will love her and may get rough" that was so stupid to say because it got her nervous. The entire time we were free swimming they were calling out her name and really bothering us. I understand they have a job to do but we had all been there before and there was really no need for it.

Excellent eco tour done by Captain Russ!
The tour was not only informative, but very fun with how interactive Captain Russ made it.
Definitely recommend for all!

My son leaves for Naval boot camp in less than a month!! My daughter who is 10 and he who is 18 swam with the dolphins and had a time they will always remember!! Best day ever!! The smiles were incredible!! Thank you

My oldest daughter and I surprised my younger daughter for a bucket list / college graduation present.
She participated in the shallow water encounter and loved every minute of it. Issac was a charmer and loved her attention.
The staff and interns are well educated and knowledgeable of the dolphins and their habits.
She had smiles the entire time in the water as well as after she got out.
Pricey, but definitely worth it!

Swimming with dolphins has been on the kids wish list for some time so when presented with the opportunity we grabbed it.
The "structured swim" event lasts about an hour including the pre swim talk, but you are actually in the water for around 15-20 mins.
The dolphins appear to be well cared for and happy. This was my initial concern given some of the bad press one reads, but Dolphin Plus are heavily involved in conservation and welfare and that was apparent on the day.
Facilities are good and they have showers for a post swim rinse.
The onsite photographer captured some great images and we bought the entire film roll for our party as it was such good value compared to the individual snaps we would otherwise have bought. .
One word of caution. this firm has two sites. One bayside, the other oceanside. Check in advance which you have to go to.
I checked the email confirm and went to the one I was directed to on the link. It was the wrong one!
Apparently, this is a common problem that they are addressing with Google Maps, but I would recommend calling ahead to double check. Traffic was bad going onto Key Largo and having to switch between sites meant we only just made it on time.

I think is too expensive for what they do. The dock experience did’t take more than 10 minutes, and after that is nothing else.

One of the best experiences my family and I have ever had. My wife and I did something similar in Jamica 20 years ago but this was better by far. The Dolphins themselves are amazing and you can tell they are well loved and cared for. The whole staff was amazing. Thank you all, The Silva family.

Due to costs, we decided to do the rendezvous with dolphins. The kids loved it! I would have liked more time with the dolphins but it seemed just right for the kids. I liked the fact that part of your fees go back to their stranding and beaching rescue. Everyone got a complimentary digital photo too.

Swimming with dolphins has always been a bucket list item of mine and Dolphins Plus offers an amazing experience. Yes, it's expensive... you're swimming with dolphins. Yes, it's only 15-20 minutes in the water... you're not the only one trying to experience a once in a lifetime moment. Enjoy the time and embrace the experience.

My daughter and I did the structured swimming. It was awesome on the whole to be so close to these amazing animals, their skin is really soft. A once in a lifetime experience for sure.
As mentioned in other reviews, the dolphins don't always do what they're supposed to do, especially the younger ones. One reason is probably that the dolphins get bored of doing the same tricks over & over again. We were the second group and it felt like we got less tricks and less time in the water than the first group (max 15 - 20 min, I think?)
Personally, 1 dolphin from another group swam right into my front chest at full speed, with a great impact, I was pushed backward & my ribs got hurt. The trainer saw the dolphin coming and warned me, but basically you can't see where the dolphins are as long as they're below the water. The trainer suggested to take a break and continue later, but I didn't want that, as I probably wouldn't dare get back into the water at that point. Now, 2 weeks later, I still feel where the dolphin hit me.
This unexpected encounter rather scared me, especially as it happened at the beginning of our water time, but I managed to enjoy the rest of the tricks with the dolphins afterwards and I'm very glad I we did this.

A must do in Key Largo, we decided on the structured swim and it was well worth the money, the dolphins are such amazing creatures and the staff were wonderful. The only thing I would suggest is that you do not purchase your pictures ahead of time, you will have the opportunity to view them online when you get home and decide then. Certainly a once in a lifetime experience, I highly recommend Dolphins Plus - Key Largo.

I couldn’t sleep the night before the structured swim. Will the dolphins like me? Will they push me out to sea? So many unknowns, as I have always wanted a close encounter with dolphins growing up in South FL. Lets just say the trainers exceeded my expectation!! They put me at ease from the moment I stepped down slowly and gently into the lagoon (yes there are stairs for anyone with knee issues) to the time I stepped out. I met a mother-daughter dolphin duo. Turns out they love humans. The daughter was super friendly and the mother was sassy and played hard to get. I must have spent about 30 minutes with them all told. The instructor stays on the platform and coaches you through the session. I was so happy with my experience I bought every photograph because I wanted to show my sons, now grown, the wide range of human emotions I felt that day with these beautiful creatures. I highly recommend this to everyone!

Today our three young children participated in the dockside program at Dolphins Plus Bayside. It was nothing short of INCREDIBLE. Everyone working there is friendly and professional. We had Kim working with us and she was absolutely amazing! The kids had a blast and we were just so thrilled with the entire experience. Thank you so much Dolphins Plus Bayside!!

I booked a structured swim for my husband's birthday. As soon as we arrived we were pleasantly greeted. We arrived with enough time to look around the grounds, that were spotless and well maintained. Once it was time for his swim we sat with a girl that gave us a brief educational run down on the dolphins they have. Then it was time for his swim. Lucky him they had no other booking for that time and he was the only one in the water with the dolphins for about 30 min. His experience was excellent, the trainers and staff are so nice and. We got the photographer as well. Worth the extra money. Book here you won't be disappointed.

Our family booked the shallow water swim with high energy add-on and photo. It was pricy but really worth it and less than you would pay at other venues. I have dreamt of doing this at other places and it always seemed cost prohibitive. We were lucky to afford to do this with our 7-year old and all had a great time. He is a new swimmer but the life jackets will float you in the lagoon. It was amazing to see and touch these incredible creatures. I think we all would like more down time to just hang out with the dolphins but I think we had just the right amount of time to watch them swim, touch and greet them and get to experience their power. After all I’m sure they need down time too! We got to stay a few minutes after to ask questions and watch Samantha and her baby Luna swim together. We had a really memorable, unforgettable experience.

This is the place to go if you want to swim with dolphins in their natural habitat. The trainers are awesome. This is a great place for the entire family.

We came back and did enjoy the experience as always. Booked the natural swim / guided swim (not touching etc, "just" snorkeling with 6 dolphins) - do not forget your GoPro! It his hard to describe what an experience it is to observe these animals under water, sort of "free" to do what they want. On top of it we met Wendy who gave us an even deeper insight and we truly enjoyed the time and conversation with her. Thank you for that!!! We will for sure be back.

We loved swimming with the dolphins. The staff was friendly and helpful. The dolphins were amazing. The kids were impressed and engaged. It is expensive but we treated it as a once in a lifetime visit.

We did not book an appointment as we could not get anyone to pick up the phone in the office. We came by and got lucky as the next swim was happening in 5 min and there was room for my girls.
This is not a cheap thing to do. The deep water dolphin time will cost just over $200. You can have someone take your picture for $80.
You and your group go to a meeting area to get wet suits (if you want one) and life vests. The instructor tells you cues they will use and what to do around the dolphins. You then get broken into groups.
There were four instructors so four groups. Within our group you were numbered what position you would go into the water.
My kids were last so we waited an hour to get into the water. I did not understand when the other three instructors did not have any more people why someone did not grab my kids and let them swim. We were the only people left waiting as everyone was finished, showered and changed.
I know the instructors said everyone would get the same amount of time with the dolphins but being last made me feel like the instructor realized she took longer with all her people and that she better be quick with my kids because everyone else was already finished.
The staff are all really friendly and helpful. You will have a good time. I just hope your first or second to go and not last.

We took our nieces ages 5, 10 and 13 to do the shallow water swim. It was excellent. The staff were knowledgeable and the dolphins were on point. It was a great experience and the photos were well worth the price. We will definitely go back when the youngest is older to actually swim with them

Fantastic experience with the dolphins and trainers at Dolphins Plus. I love that it’s a non profit and rescues marine mammals. Highly recommend for a bucket list experience!!!

Amazing facility and staff. You can tell the dolphins are loved and properly cared for. I loved how the trainers and staff were constantly reminding guest how to behave and act around the dolphins. Their care 100% comes first. Once in a lifetime experience and worth every cent.

Mary Lou and Samantha, the dolphin, were amazing! My 8 year old son adds, “Really good for kids and inspiring. Recommend this to everyone who can swim and who can’t.”

This experience was worth every penny. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and made sure that you got the experience you paid for. The Dolphins are incredible and so fun to interact with. Riding with the dolphins will be a lifetime top trip experience.
I also liked the focus on dolphin conservation. Talking to the trainers, they put incredible thought into the quality of life for the dolphins and make sure they not only get quality care but also have enhanced life experiences.

While visiting family in the Keys, it was recommended we bring our three teen kids here to swim with the dolphins. They had the BEST time ever, the staff is so warm, welcoming and truly love what they do and it shows. I highly recommend it !!!
Thank you to the dolphins and staff for making my daughter's Sweet 16, completely unforgettable !!

We had a great time swimming with the dolphins. We learned a lot about conservation and the impact we can have on the environment. We also got to interact and swim with these intelligent fascinating animals. The staff were great and very knowledgeable. We had a great time.

This sort of swim w the dolphins is like 400.00 plus in Cozumel! only 165.00 here. It was long and one on one with the dolphins. My wife loves dolphin sightings and so I had to get her this. I paid 10.00 to be an observer (from only a few feet away) and I video taped all of it on my cell. It was so amazing I almost was crying, sort of a religious experience to see these huge gentle creatures, w different personalities so close. I was so happy for her. The class before hand is also long and very detailed and interesting. The staff love their work, and when you see how much fish they eat you will understand some of the cost! Lil' pigs they are. Thank you all for an experience beyond words that we will be talking about for the rest of our lives. Probably THE HIGH POINT of our FL Keys visit. We were in Key West and it was an hour + 15 min drive, but hands down, a better deal than anywhere eles in the Keys. Go kiss a dolphin for us :) I had to tip the crew $20.00 (for some Budwiser fish for the Dolphins :) )

The best!!! Leo was the best dolphin buddy ever🩷 and Jessica the trainer was great!! Staff was great from start to finish. Easy to find, beautiful place👍 I did the shallow water and LOVED IT!
Next time I go....it will be full on swimming with them ☺️

Had a fantastic time with my husband! It was his time in the water with dolphins and he loved it. They were educational about the experience. I have to say, be careful when you go and check the temperature!! It was chilly!

I really enjoyed my dolphin swim with 2 year old, Luna and the other 2 year old, Nyla got to be part of it and Luna's mom Samantha.

Swimming with dolphins is on lots of people's bucket lists. In Florida, you can do this in several locations. We were staying in Key Largo for a few nights and considered both Dolphins plus and a couple of other locations within driving distance. The attraction at Dolphins plus was the range of interaction involved in the 'structured swim' and so we chose this place.
We booked on line the day before and arrived a little early as suggested. On a quiet Monday there were only 5 swimmers booked in for the session including us.
You get a briefing and a little training yourselves before getting into the saltwater lagoon with the dolphins. If you are a single swimmer - you'll go in alone. If you are part of a couple , you can go in as a pair (which we did).
There are a number of dolphins at the facility (which is quite small by the way). If you are al little nervous, I recommend this place as there's much more personal attention for the guest.
We had dolphins jumping through hoops, rolling over for belly pats, kissing us, waving to us, towing us around and pushing us from our feet. Most of the time, two dolphins were in the lagoon with us but eventually we were swimming with four.
If you are nervous - don't worry. these dolphins are experienced performers. They are very gentle and very precise in their routines. You need to be able to swim but you don't need to be a strong as you wear a floatation vest (so it's easy)
I've seen some reviews that say you aren't in the water that long. Well, I didn't time it but I did feel that we got our money's worth (even though it isn't cheap)
Changing facilities etc are limited - so go in your swim gear and take easy to change into clothes for afterwards.
We thoroughly enjoyed this experience and I felt it was much more genuine than some others you can take nearby. If you can afford it - you won't regret it.
(If all of your party are swimming - by the way- you won't be able to take photos. They will do this for you - at an extra cost. Probably worth it as the photos we got were good quality compared to our normal iPhone standard)

Having some visitors from out of the country, we wanted to do something different. We purchased the structured swim with dolphins since that provided the most interaction with the dolphins out of the program choices. We also liked the idea that it limited the group to 4 people.
We were informed upon check in that the orientation would be starting about 12:30 for the 12:45 interaction. While waiting for the start, we later started to wonder about our group of 4 as there were many people arriving (around 30), but we later discovered that does not affect your interaction group numbers as there are various programs going on simultaneously.
All the guests were escorted to a covered patio and asked to take a seat. The young lady providing the orientation then called out names of the various parties and then asked their language preference (which seemed redundant and just acted as a time filler as the language preference is specified on the online reservation and guests check in at the office prior to the start of the orientation) . We were then instructed to get in a line to pick up the swim vests and then take a seat for the presentation. The presenter then said that if anyone became too hot during the talk to shower off in the fresh water showers adjacent to the patio.
The "educational" talk lasted about 45 minutes and consisted of the presenter standing and reading much of the information from a paper. Though she was using a sound amplification system, the patio fans, the downpour and the speed with which she was speaking made it nearly impossible to understand what she was saying. We were starting to wonder what we were thinking by spending so much on the program.
Once we got into the water, this was forgotten. Despite the fact there were so many people in the orientation, they were divided up into various groups and each group was able to interact with the the dolphins based on what their programs were. We remained our group of 4 and the trainer explained the various interactions we would have with the dolphin and with a second dolphin for the dorsal swim. The entire times spent in the water with them was about 30-35 minutes.
It was an enjoyable experience and in the end, we were glad that we did it despite a few needed tweaks that could improve the overall experience. First, having the guests sit around in a neoprene vest and listening to a talk in the heat makes no sense. It would have been better to have passed them out after the talk. Next, if one of your missions is to truly educate guests, creating a more "user friendly" presentation and orientation would help to accomplish that. Rather than talking at the guess, the presenters should circulate around the audience, vary the tone of the voice, make the presentation more interactive and using visuals other than a stuffed animal may engage the audience a bit more. Perhaps investing in a few monitors or even one and create a Powerpoint or video for the orientation would better accomplish this.

My six year old son and I did the shallow water encounter and it was just sooooo cool. The structure of the experience was intimate and comfortable, and we both learned a lot and had a blast. In particular both Jessicas were great - very personable and knowledgeable, and patient with my slightly scared son. By the end he wanted to do it again. :) thanks for an unforgettable experience!

There are several options to choose. Some watch, some feed, some swim with dolphins.
We chose swimming with dolphins.
We had a great time getting to know Samantha and Luna. They are so sweet and you can feel their happy energy! The trainers are very nice and helpful. They tell you step by step what to do. Great experience.

Capt. Russ was amazing such a great time especially being from wyoming it far exceeded expectations.

My 12 year old and I had our dive trips cancelled due to the high winds, so the dive shop mentioned Dolphins Plus. They are a non-profit dolphin rescue facility that also happens to offer dolphin experiences, too. We’ve done ‘encounters’ before, but never have we had the opportunity to simply snorkel and play with these magical mammals.
For 20 minutes (at least - may have been more) we had a ball snorkeling and diving with them. And it was a great cardio workout too because you’re not supposed to stop swimming. They call this the ‘natural swim’ because your not allowed to touch the dolphins and their interactions with you are 100% their own choice. But that’s where the fantastic trainers come in. They give you all sorts of toys to play with and entice the dolphins to want to swim with you (and they also tell you when the dolphins are coming up to you).
Honestly, this was something we’d have missed if our diving hadn’t been cancelled, but I’m so glad we did it. It may very well be the highlight of our weekend.

We have visited Dolphin Plus before (2017) when they were located at a different location and really enjoyed our time. The new location was disappointing from start to finish. Completely different experience. They have been taken over by a different company and relocated so the standard is not the same. We brought friends we us and had been saying how great it was. Checkin staff were not friendly or forgiving of our experience. The lady (I think Krista?) said they get great reviews and our experience was the same as everyone else. There were so many people working but we had to wait for long times. The dolphins did not seem to be enjoying their time either, my son was hit twice and this was never acknowledged by the instructor who was very young and naive. I personally found the swim intimidating rather than fun. Another swimmer in a different group was hit by the same dolphins. The photos were nothing special but no less than we expected and our assigned photographer was actually more friendly than the rest of the staff. Would be good to have options for single prints of photos in varying sizes. The buildings all look very attractive and the new location now has its own hotel but it shows that sometimes just pouring money into a new facility doesn't improve the product. We will not be retuning a third time unless they return to previous management. Smaller was better.

Went here to do the dolphin kiss while my husband was a spectator only to find out they had filled all spots. The young lady referred us to their sister dolphin rescue down the road. Dolphins Plus Marine Mammal Responder was amazing! I’ll never forget this experience with such beautiful, playful dolphins!! Highly recommend!! For kids & adults whom are still a kid at heart!

What an experience! We visit the Keys every year and I can’t wait to visit again! The dolphins were amazing! The trainers were so knowledgeable and really connected to these beautiful animals. I can’t say enough about how much fun this was!

Swimming with the dolphins was a cool first time experience to see the different tricks they can do and learn about them only thing is that is very expensive I don’t feel like it’s worth $210 per person for a short amount of time felt like 10-15 mins maybe. And then if you want to buy the pics they take it costs $90.

3 adults and two teenagers had a great time. The pre-swim lecture was very informative and helped to allay any concerns. There were a number of groups in the lagoon but you hardly noticed them. Really friendly and caring staff who made us feel very much part of the dolphin family.

My husband and I did a dolphin swim years ago on a couples trip. We loved it so much that I made a point of planning this for our two sons on our vacation this summer. I found Dolphins Plus online and booked a shallow water encounter for the boy’s back in February. I was so excited about this part of the trip for months and I was not disappointed. My husband and I were standing on the sidelines watching our boys interacting with the dolphins.😁. I could hear our 21 year old son laughing most of the time and our 13 year old son was smiling from ear to ear the entire time. It was awesome to see and hear the happiness from both of them. The trainers were super nice and the dolphins were fun and adorable. We all left this place really happy. I highly recommend Dolphins Plus for anyone who is thinking about this type of experience. My husband committed to me on our way out that this place way better than the place we had our dolphin swim and I agree for sure.

This non-profit organization is devoted to dolphins and their habitat. This facility is a means to tell their story and encourage better understanding. They precede the 30-40 minute "swim" with a briefing on the animals and their habitat, and after instructions you're in the water playing with two dolphins in a controlled sequence of events. The experience is different each time because the dolphins control the activities they are asked to do; if they don't want to cooperate the staff does not intervene, although the fish treats have some bearing on that decision. Nevertheless, it was a great experience and quite therapeutic. In fact, they have special programs for military and first responders to help with potential adjustment issues after service. Not sure this experience is worthwhile for children who may be too young to appreciate what they are doing or seeing. But for adults, excellent experience. Also a visit does not have to involve a swim; observing activities in the enclosure on the surrounding docks can be just as educational and probably more useful for children. The facility has small changing areas that are actually bathrooms and five lockers in the deck area for rent.

We did the interactive swim, and it couldn't have been better. You ride alongside the dolphins, get pushed along by them, kiss and stroke them. the trainers make it fun and easy. Highly recommend paying the extra $$ for the photo package too. Super shots/memories!

The Staff was helpful and polite. Our assigned trainer did a great job tailoring the experience for our youngest. I would recommend.

My husband and I loved our experience here. It was our first dolphin encounter. We were highly impressed with the friendly and accommodating staff. We did the shallow water dolphin encounter. The trainer was great with the group! She helped a gentleman who was in a wheelchair enjoy his experience with the dolphin encounter in the water. In addition, very kid friendly. We highly recommend this experience to families with children or special needs.

We had a family of 14 and ALL did the Dolphin Swim. It was a once in a lifetime event and was amazing.

My developmentally delayed young adult son participated with trainer Jessica. She was wonderful. My son has long been fascinated with Dolphin and Orcas and this was his first experience. I was stunned by the quality and length of the entire experience. He is a strong swimmer so Jessica allowed him to really spend time doing various in water activities. The smile on his face, indeed the smiles on all participants' faces, said it all. You are depriving yourself if you do not spend time with what are indeed our close relatives. Amazing. In awe.

We had a wonderful experience with Dolphin Plus. The trainers communicated everything clearly and ensured that we all felt safe and secure during our interaction with the dolphins. They also made themselves available to answer any questions that we may have had before and after the session.
We got to do different poses and swim with them in different ways (which we were briefed beforehand about and felt completely safe doing). By the conclusion of the interaction, we felt very at home with the dolphins. It was clear how well taken care of the animals were and how well they were acquainted with the trainers.
If you are interested in swimming with dolphins and getting to interact with them like a real trainer would, consider Dolphin Plus! You will not regret it.

We chose the Shallow Water Experience and were not disappointed. Our group was small, four people, which gave us a good bit of individual time with the Dolphins. We both added the Dorsal Tow, which was well worth the additional fee. The trainers were very good with us and the dolphins. You can tell these animals are well taken care of and loved. I would also suggest adding on the photo package.

This was a very long worthwhile experience! The program is a better value than any in Key Largo! Coupons online for dolphin experience and spectator.. $5 was all for spectators! Trip was $190 with coupon, but water time and interaction more than other trips.

The staff was very friendly and profesional, i strongly recommend if You come to the keys this is a must go place specially if You have children they will be amazed with the Dolphins. Again the staff are pros and they know how to treat guests. The dolphins are well taken care of and You can tell they are happy mammals.

We had the time of lives swimming with these dolphins. We did the deep water experience after reading a TripAdvisor review. He said he went for the shallow water experience, and said he watched the deep water people have an amazing time. These creatures are so smart. Jumped over us, pushed us around by our feet, and pulled us around by their dorsal fins. The trainer said to bring us a gift, and the dolphins searched around. One brought me a branch from a mangrove tree, and my wife a tiny, tiny leaf. They handed them to us so gently. They feel amazing. It’s pricey, it doesn’t last too long, but we’ll worth it.

Our encounter with the dolphins in the water was undeniably phenomenal! The trainers demonstrated an exceptional depth of knowledge and provided us with valuable insights into these extraordinary and intelligent mammals. Carolyn, Jessica, and Kim were not only knowledgeable but also friendly, leaving us with both an unforgettable experience and a wealth of information. We wholeheartedly recommend DolphinsPlus for individuals of all ages.

The place is back to normal. It looks great like before. The people are very friendly and it was better than anticipated. In our group we had an older lady of 83, teenagers and 9 year old. Everyone had a great time. I would highly recommend

The shallow encounter was not worth it. But I think it may depend on the trainer. But also who wants to spend that much money to mayyybe get a good trainer. Also I was told that dolphins in captivity like this are dangerous and unfortunately i will never be doing this ever again. But if you decide to do this…
The trainer for our shallow encounter seemed the least interested, active and entertaining than all the other trainers around. The one at the closest dock who obviously purchased the photo package had the most engaged trainer. She was jolly, good with the kids involved, traded out dolphins many times. She just generally was more into her job. My friend commented that his trainer had been doing this for 22 years and she seemed more interested and cared more about the dolphins. While that’s a great thing to care about those creatures, than maybe this isn’t the line of work for her since it’s very obvious many young ones come to these things.
The other trainers were so boisterous into it, and honestly it looked boring on that end of the lagoon.
Also it took forever for them to get in the water and it seemed as though everyone was well on their way with the dolphins while she was just letting the dolphins gently swim by. my family was the last to get in and first to get out? When my friend previously mentioned that they were able to stay after the experience was over and were invited to do so to see the dolphins. I mean if that’s the case then let us get 10 dollars worth of viewing? They just didn’t seem to care and for that much money to not care about the customer it’s just irritating.
Also I get it.. it’s a business. In which you want and need to make money. When checking in it was passively noted that if we didn’t get the photo package “we wouldn’t be guaranteed a good spot for pictures” Sure, no problem, because some people actually can’t afford that. But not gonna lie, I can afford it and had she sold it differently than being coy and passive and just saying “we can’t guarantee”.. I would have considered just buying the package. No explanation of the package. To be honest people don’t know at all, how good the pics can be and I’m honest.. they were really cute! But dang had I known that the best pictures means you will be closer to the viewing area, that the photographer stops to make sure you are looking at the camera and smiling and posing… WELL i might have purchased that. But no instead it was sold as a guilt trip and also sold as a spot would not be guaranteed.. which actually just meant you were going to put my family FAR out so i basically couldn’t take any pictures.
The descriptions on the website really don’t give you an idea of what to expect.
We were so excited when my friend’s family spent damn near a grand swimming and doing the gentle encounter and she was as unhappy as I was seeing this happen during the encounter when the swim was amazing and magical… and this encounter was boring. The kids came back and were just like ok we did it… and when someone is good with kids and engages my daughter she comes back and will tell me all about it… she didn’t. So thanks.
Glad nothing happened as it seems to happen in the other years for this business. But also not sure this is great for dolphins. If they are bred to do this i guess they have no other choice but people are probably still breeding them which I can no longer support.
But again, if you choose to do this activity do you research really well. That was my mistake and didn’t look at TripAdvisor. I’m betting there are better experiences to be had in the keys or with dolphins elsewhere.

Took the kids (10 and 14) to Dolphins Plus Bayside for a surprise visit. They loved the whole experience. It was so neat for them to get in the water with the dolphins and 'instruct' then to do certain things and to pet them! The dolphins even came in close for a kiss! I purchased the "dorsal tow" package for an extra fee, which was totally worth it! The kids were so amazed to stand there and have the dolphins come up behind them and give them a ride through the water (towed the kids as they held onto the dorsal fin of 2 dolphins, one on the right side and one on the left).
They have a photo package that you can purchase, however, there are places where a family member or friend can stand to take pictures of you as you interact with the dolphins. In my opinion, the photo package was very expensive and not worth the cost. I skipped it, and still have many great pictures and videos that I was able to take on my own.
I highly recommend this "bucket list" type experience to young and old alike!

We have just returned from the structured swim and I must say we were disappointed with the amount of time actually spent in the water with the dolphins! It says expect to spend 69-90 minutes there however it does not say that only 10-15 minutes in actually spent in the water with the dolphins so just feel this was a bit of a rip off for $210 each. When I questioned this at the end I was told the amount of time spent in the water depends on how well the dolphins behave!! Obviously ours were on top form!!
Disappointed

My son and I had a wonderful experience at Dolphin Plus. We had a great learning experience with Tara the trainer before the dolphin encounter. The time in the water with the dolphin (Lyla) was amazing. I highly recommend reserving a dolphin encounter here!

What was meant to be a dream come true turned into a nightmare. The entire experience was unpleasant. The check in team sent us to wait for a trainer to pick us up for a talk on dolphins and we waited for 30 minutes before anyone gave us any further instruction. An extern then presented a class on dolphins and rules of the swim which was actually the only good segment of the day. The swim itself was combination of dolphin trainers screaming at each other and at us and me and my boyfriend getting receptively hit by dolphins in our backs and sides. Our instructor just kept shrugging off what was happening. My boyfriend actually has significant bruise to remember the experience and what was meant to be a special day was very far from. So disappointing and unorganized. Wish we had gone on a dive

This was a beautiful, wonderful, amazing experience. The dolphins were gentle and seem to love life. The pool is edged with living mangroves, is over 20 ft deep, and has all kinds of fish and seaweed growing right in with the dolphins. These dolphins are highly trained - all voluntary - to cooperate in their medical care, and their cooperation in the programs is enthusiastic. Cannot wait to go back and highly recommend it to one and all. The staff was outstanding and very helpful. Not to be missed. A 'once in a lifetime experience' worth repeating. Go!

My wife and I took my daughter one work amazing. The instructor Hunter was great very fun professional and great with the dolphins. I will definitely recommend and go back myself

The dolphins were well trained and listened very well. The water was a bit cold since only low 70s weather l, but the wet suits helped and didn't impact the experience.

We purchased the Kissed by a dolphin experience for our 3 young children (1, 5, 7). We got to our location late (we went to wrong location) so we had to come back for the next showing (thankfully there was space). Our experience was good overall but it was hot and our kids were a bit antsy. They require that you sit for a 30-45 minute lecture on dolphins and the environment before going to your session. Normally this would be interesting and fun for me but when you are chasing around a very impatient 1.5 year old who is hot and cranky -let's just say that, time did NOT fly by!
Two of my kids ended up being terrified of the dolphins - ironically and so I ended up holding them and shaking the dolphin's hand myself. But that's why we got the cheapest experience - just in case. lol. The staff was friendly but not the most patient with our little ones and kind of just hurried us off. But overall the kids only remember the cool dolphins they saw and that's what we were aiming for.

I'd been wanting to "swim" with dolphins for a long time. I'm just a scaredy cat. So I started with an "encounter" here at Dolphin's Plus. The encounter is where you stand in waist deep water and interact rather than being out in deeper water.
I was like a little kid, squealing and excited and having a blast. The handler (darn, we forgot her name but she was awesome) and our dolphins, Nica and Nyla were just fantastic. They were happy, we were happy, it was just a happy experience. I'll be swimming with them for realz next time!

The guides were good. The problem comes when your group is placed on the opposite side of lagoon where self video is not good. BUT they do provide pictures by their team that were all over on that side for a fee. Sounds like they do that for a reason $$$$. READ REVIEWS BEFORE YOU GO. This seems to be a common practice with them.

My family and I had a wonderful experience at dolphins plus. The staff was very friendly and very professional. You can tell how much they care about their job and the dolphins. My kids had a great experience and will remember this forever.

I have wanted to swim with dolphins for awhile now and finally was able too. I can say this is one of the best experiences of my life! This was everything I wanted to do and then some.Everyone was very friendly and very knowledgeable! If you want a up close and personal experience with a dolphin , dolphin dip is what you need! I felt I had plenty of time in the lagoon with "Leo" and everything was explained in great detail. Being pushed around by the dolphin, touching it and just watching it swim around was incredible!

Very disappointing. Having swam with my family at other key largo location I thought I’d take my boyfriend for his birthday. Our experience last year was 5*. We loved Bob and Alfonzo. Very different experience on the bay front location. Seemed disorganized and lots of waiting. Instructors didn’t seem to know what was going on. I don’t usually write reviews but I was hit by one of the dolphins three times (very hard), and and the instructors just shrugged it of like nothing had happened. Seemed like they were making excuses. The dolphin was clearly angry and didn’t want us there. It made me feel bad about going. I don’t think the dolphin was happy and I don’t blame them for the attack. I would go again but only to other smaller location which was apparently taken over by a different company last year.

Captain Russ was the best!! Made for a fun and relaxing experience for my family and I.
We learned a lot and saw so much wild marine life. Thanks again captain russ!

This was an amazing experience! They offer a few different types of experiences to choose from. Well worth the admission fee! I thought that 20 minutes was not enough time but after having done it, the length of the visit was perfect. We got to stay afterwards and watch another group's different dolphin experience. There were only 4 of us for our experience, which was great! Caroline, our dolphin trainer, was so friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. Such a fun and worthwhile time!

My wife and I ended up going to Dolphins Plus and it was a fantastic experience. I was initially against going as I felt it was way too expensive (I think we paid $215 each, maybe a little more). She always wanted to do this and said she didn't care what it cost. I didn't want to ruin our vacation arguing over this so I gave in and I am so glad I did!! A once in a lifetime experience - a dorsal fin ride, a foot push ride, petting their tummy, and, perhaps the best part, kissing a dolphin on the lips! (I think I'm in love). It is a little pricey but we're at a point in our lives where we can do these things, however how could a family of four shell out nearly $900 to do this? Overall a great experience but the one suggestion I have is to shorten the "orientation" talk at the beginning. It was informative and the staff member giving it was very nice but it went far too long - seemed at least 30 minutes. Little kids in our group were getting restless and whiny (and quite frankly I was too). All in all it was a phenomenal time!

She loved it. She was like a kid in there. The trainers were awesome. Everyone was great. You should add this adventure to your bucket list.

Excellent, a lot fun, very sweet Dolphins, friendly knowledgeable staff, clean. Will come back, recommended.

Wife and daughter had a blast great photos. Convenient and fairly priced. Super nice staff. The dolphins are amazing animals. This is a must do bucket list activity.

I am totally IN LOVE with the dolphins !! great experience to encounter with wild life. we had a great time. only two things: 1. a bit pricy; 2. we have three person, but only one persons's photo "kiss with dolphins" were captured, me and my father don't have this photo. I would assume EVERYONE would love to have this particular photo so we can frame it ... anyhow, i would still recommend a visit!

We loved it! Friendly staff, clean place, not crowded and more laid back! What a great experience, you will have a blast!

Be sure you do not have to cancel!!! My daughter had covid like symptoms the morning before the scheduled time and they didn't return my call or email to figure out my options/reschedule. They had me listed as a no show!! Even after I offered proof of my phone call attempts and emails. I disputed it with my credit card company.

My twin 14 year old boys chose to do the Signature Swim while visiting the Keys. They both admit that this was their favorite activity on vacation. On the day of our visit they worked with Samantha and Luna. The trainers were patient both with my boys and most importantly the dolphins. They asked the dolphins if they wanted to participate and gave Samantha time as she was socializing with the other dolphins. The smiles that we saw that day made it worthwhile, as you know how hard it can be to get smiles from a teen. Wonderful set up for the spectators to view and take pictures. Thank you to the entire staff at Dolphin Plus.

Always pass by this place and only considered going into the salt lagoon with the dolphins once. There is a nice retail shop here and the staff is friendly

Family of 4 from Germany decided on this facility because of recommendation from a friend who is a cameraman who was part of a documentary (circa 2002) that selected Dolphins Plus because of its singular profile. We found the organization to be well run and committed to providing people with high quality interaction with these beautiful creatures. We did the Structured Swim as a family and loved every single moment with our wonderful trainer (jessica) who gave instructions to us from the pier (we were in the water with the dolphins). While waiting our turn I had a chance to talk to other staff members, including the photographer, who were all highly motivated and honestly enjoyed talking about their passion in working with Dolphins. The educational presentation at the beginning lasted about 25 minutes (another reviewer said it lasted 45 minutes, so clearly they are listening to reviewers and cutting back on this part of the program) and most of the audience were international travellers. The speaker system needs to be updated as it competes with loud fans (necessary to keep you cool on hot Florida days!). Plus the young woman who did the presentation spoke so quickly that much of what she had to share was lost on the audience. So Slow Down and annunciate clearly, please, for non-English speaking customersI I adressed this issue at the end of our visit directly with a manager, who conveyed her seriousness in hearing what could be improved. This kind of courteous professionalism is what distinguishes Dolphins Plus from many other nearby facilities. We had already spent the previous day at Theatre of the Sea (which was located right next to our rental house) and it was absolutely clear to us, after our tour there and watching their Dolphin and Sea Lion show, that this was not the place I would invest my time and money for a personal encounter with dolphins. So we drove about 40 minutes to reach Dolphins Plus. All in all, we each came away with an incredible experience with these animals which we shall have forever in our hearts (and amazing photos, a must to buy) I thank Dolphins Plus for their dedication and commitment to ensuring that customers walk away with an incredible experience. I am greatly satisfied that we followed a personal recommendation and went with the best! When I returned to our rental house I met a family from Orlando (in the communal pool) who said they too were going to Dolphins Plus in a few days because of what positive reviews by friends. They told us that these Swim with the Dolphin facilities are also in Orlando (not to mention Disney) but they would never go to any of these places because most are commercial operations with barest concern for the animals. "The places with the best reputations are well known because they stand out from the crowd. And Dolphins Plus is definitely a stellar example," the father of this family told me. And yes, he is entirely right, and hearing this from a Floridian made me even more sure that we picked the right place. Finally, we did purchase the photos ahead of time (discount if you do this upon booking) and the gallery of shots are absolutely perfect. For us, this day was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure (unlikely that we will return to Florida as there is more the the USA for us to see) and im grateful to Dolphins Plus for their dedication! Danke Schoen!

I'm not really that touchy-feely when it comes to the animal kingdom. I'd rather appreciate wild animals from afar than get all up in their faces and make them acknowledge me. But the GF wanted to do this, and wanted me to join her, so I did. And it was totally worth it, totally enjoyable and eye-opening.
We did the guided swim, so we were not climbing all over the dolphins, petting them, getting kisses, the whole picture-perfect bit. We just had on suits, masks and fins, and swam free in their enclosure. It was still really, really cool.
We went early, so were the first customers of the day, and were the only two folks in the lagoon with the dolphins. That was a good decision. We got lots of instruction and guidelines from our guide before we got into it. There was never any indication that the dolphins might be aggressive or dangerous; I got the impression that the instructions to us were more about keeping the dolphins happy and unmolested than about how we might have been planning to react to/with them.
Mask, snorkel, and fins are all provided. It was cool when we went, so we got wetsuits, too. The lagoon is fed directly from a canal, so is ocean-temperature. There are some pipes from connecting basins nearby, so there were some nice warm spots, too. When done, all we had to do was put the suits into a wheelbarrow; no need to wash/bleach them ourselves. There is a changing room near the deck to change into/out of your water gear.
The dolphins were sizing us up the minute we stepped out of the office; they knew we'd be swimming with them and they were interested in meeting us. That was obvious right away. We got in and had a way-too-short 20 minutes of free swim with them, which was absolutely fantastic. We were instructed not to reach out to touch, but the dolphins continually bumped me in greeting, and were inches away from me swimming as I rounded the pool. The lagoon is about 20 feet deep, and you are free to dive down to swim with them, which I did a couple of times. They were making lots of eye contact, definitely interested in getting to know you. It was all over much too quickly.
There is free gravel-lot parking right across the street; security does not seem to be an issue at all. There are no lockers for holding personal gear, so it's best you leave as much of it as possible in your car. You can change in the upstairs bathroom at the office, and there is a changing space on the lower level near the pool deck.
The office has a modest gift shop, with the standard stuff, but also has some cool and unique items, like paintings by the dolphins, and Christmas ornaments painted by the dolphins. We were looking for a specific color and they called over to the Dolphins Plus location on Route 1 to confirm for us that they had what we were looking for.
Bottom line: this is not a cheap activity, but it is incredibly cool, something you will remember forever. It's a good investment in time, money, and energy.

My friend and I have always wanted to swim with dolphins! we found this place online. So my friend booked it for the 15th of February. We did the signature swim which was $240 I believe. Wow! What an experience! our appt was at 3:30 and we got there a few minutes late because of traffic. Anyway when we got there, we sat through a demonstration for a few minutes. Then we changed into our bathing suits and they gave us the life jackets. We went down to the dock and we were lowered to the water. I got to kiss a dolphin, my friend got to shake its fins, and the dolphin jumped over the pole we had in the water, my friend and I each got to hold on to its fins and swim at a high speed while holding on to them! So cool! At the end, the dolphin I believe was named Samantha waved goodbye to us as we were waving! I highly recommend this place!

Me and my 6 year old son had a great experience, you can tell that the trainers love what they are doing, they are on dolphin time and don't get upset if the dolphins don't want to come see us...they just call another one...
Beautiful experience, we had the shallow water encounter and also took the option for the dolphin tow...Amazing!!!
It's a once in a lifetime experience considering the price, but well worth it...

The staff was very knowlegable and show they really care about these mammals. I did the shallow water experience and was able to spend quite a bit of time with Zoe. The trainer even taught me things I did not know about our air breathing buddies.
I would highly recommend Dolphins Plus in Key Largo on your way to the Keys or heading home. Your family will love it.

Jessica the trainer was amazing! 18 years at her job and it shows. To get honest, I made the reservation for my fiancé as we just got engaged a few days ago. However, I found myself enthralled and eager to learn more. I can’t recommend the experience enough to anyone! I can’t wait to rake our 4 kids next time!

I've always wanted to have a meeting and greet with dolphins and decided to go ybe Dolphin Dockside Experience since this was my first time every doing something like this and I am not a strong swimmer. For this experience I had the mother daughter dolphins Samantha and Luna. I learned how to do hand signals and the dolphins did them, I received a present from one of them (leaf), and got to shake both of their hands. You sit on a raft to have this experience and you do get wet but I'm so glad I did this, had tears in my eyes and was reasonably priced. I got a link of all of the pictures they took and will be ordering them soon. I also brought a painting from one of my dolphins in the gift shop to have that from my amazing day.

This blew me away. It was so organized and I spent a lot of time one on one with Luna and Nyla. Cathrine was our trainer and did a fabulous job. I would totally recommend going!

This was a great experience. I have seen many dolphin experiences and even worked with marine mammals in Disney as an intern. This was by far my favorite experience. Very personal. Dolphins are definitely loved and well care for. My son and I will remember forever. Thank you!

I was a bit apprehensive at first, especially when I saw the dolphins up close. This left me when I got into the water what a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend Dolphin Plus, you are in a natural lagoon with fish swimming too. The dolphins are amazing and the trainers are great.

I feel awful writing this because the employees of this business were so wonderful. That said, we let our 10 year old daughter have a structured swim experience w/o doing prior research. My daughter & trainer went into the water with the dolphins, all was well at first. After several successful behaviors, they had my daughter wait in the middle of the pool with her arms out and 2 dolphins were supposed to come and pull her to the platform. They had already successfully done this trick once and on the second round one of the dolphins unexpectedly rammed my daughter hard in the side, and then again in the arm. The trainer immediately put herself between the dolphin and my daughter and got her out of the water quickly. It all happened so quickly I didn’t realize all that had happened. They told her the dolphin was “acting up” and had a case of the “zoomies.” They compared it to a young puppy being excited. While I don’t know why the dolphin acted the way it did, I can add that it’s living conditions were hard to witness. This dolphin lived in a very small area with 3 other dolphins. I was heartbroken seeing it and feel bad for not doing more research before supporting this organization. While I know they probably do wonderful work in so many other ways, there is no justification for the small pools these animals are kept in. I do wonder if these conditions contributed to frustration and subsequent aggression we witnessed today.
In the end, this ended up not being a good experience for my daughter but we are thankful to the trainer who acted quickly and stayed calm during this situation.

WOW! My family did the shallow water encounter. We were so excited and the experience lived up to it and more. The staff was very helpful and put us at ease. It was clean and on time. I don't leave many reviews but I had to make sure that others don't miss out.

While not cheap, this was a great experience for my family. We did the shallow water experience. My 7yo and 4yo had a great time. The trainer (Krysta) was amazing. She took the time to help my youngest get acclimated and we never felt rushed so they could move on to the next customer. Highly recommended

I almost didn't book this trip for our family because of some of the negative reviews here and the price. I'm glad I still went with it though. We did the shallow water encounter and it was amazing. So, here is why it was worth the price.
1) You get about an hour with dolphins and yes, if you have a larger group, you rotate who is active with the animal, so the entire hour is not yours, but you are still really close to the action.
2) This is a wild animal. Trained, but wild. This is not your neighbor's really smart dog, it's a dolphin; this is a unique experience. Sometimes the dolphin responds to commands, sometimes not.
3) I did the math on this place, I bet they are barely pulling a profit. Every trainer (minus the interns) has a college degree. Think of the liability insurance costs alone.
4) I won't forget the experience, it's almost primal. It connects us back to creation in a way we tend to lose sight of in this technological world.
5) It's fantastic for teens. No cell phones in the lagoon, teens drink in the full experience with no selfies or texts.
6) Afterwards, you can still hang around and watch the dolphins play. It's tranquil.

My daughter and just one other child were in a group, playing with 2 dolphins, so there was no need to wait too long for your turn. The other group had 3 kids. It is a steep price, considering that you only spent 15 min. in the water playing with the dolphins.

We booked a sunset trip this afternoon with Captain Russ, the most absolutely and beautiful time that we ever had in the keys.... Captain is super friendly, and he takes his time to give us the best tour and experience, he was super nice and super knowledgeable about everything here in the keys... definitely we will recommend to all our family and friends.... Thank you captain and see you soon!!!!! .

I did the signature swim package with my daughter and bought the photo package, and I cannot recommend it enough. They provided us with wet suits with long sleeves and the bottoms that cover your legs to your knees, and we were not too cold at the end of November!
For our money we got 30 minutes of swimming with two dolphins (just me and my daughter) and we bought the photo package which I believe we ended up with over 200 digital photos on a flash drive (If you bring your own flash drive you can save a little money - not sure if they still allow you to bring your own flash drive or not).
It was definitely the best vacation experience of my life - it was just under $500 for me, and my daughter (and photo package) and I would do it again in one second. I will more than likely return to dolphins plus and do the Signature Swim again one day if I have the opportunity and can afford it. I researched many places that offer dolphin swims in the Florida Keys, and this place was superior in EVERY way. From how they care for the animals (it is a nature reserve) to how the experience can be for just you and your group of family/friends so you don't have to share the experience with strangers). It was amazing fun! We also learned a bit about dolphins as they educate you a bit while you are swimming around with the dolphins.
They also offer packages where you can have a shallow water dolphin experience where you are standing in 4 feet of water and interact with them, and they have a dockside package where the dolphins swim up to you (but you aren't in the water with them). Something for everyone - but I recommend the full experience - the Signature Swim.

So cute! I did not know what to expect from this small and unattractive facility, but so glad I went. We purchased the observer tickets (there is no free admission mentioned in other reviews) and waited only about 10 mins to watch a dolphin and child interact. There were 3 or so dolphins, 4 staff members and the dolphins did some tricks (with proper fish snack motivation of course). Shaded seating was very close to the ‘show’ and just delightful.
Before and after the show you can stand at the edge of the pool and the dolphins will stop and see you.
Don’t miss the beautiful macaw on the side of the building.
Very friendly and indulging staff.

Words can't even begin to describe it but just know you won't regret doing it. Give Briggs a kiss for me! Magical day won't soon forget.

First of all, I received someone else's pictures two days before we arrived. I called to tell them they needed to double check someone's email. - I double checked mine before leaving for this very reason.
Then, our experience was by 10 minutes in the water (and yet we were the only people there for the morning structured swim -Thurs).
I prepaid $90 for the pictures - which took 6 days for digital copies to be emailed (told it would be 24-48 hours), despite calling, using chat, and asking for someone to call me back, I still haven't heard from anyone that can calm me down.
There was a family with children in the shallow experience (there were only 4 people total) that didn't prepay for pics and yet, they took their pics with them.
I used chat online on Saturday. She said she located our pics and would "send them shortly"
Monday I spoke to someone, who said the lady I need to talk to was at lunch (I am being nice and not telling all of your names), yet I didn't get a call back. I called 4 hours later and she was gone. I asked for the GM and was told she would call me in the morning, because it was after 5:30 there.
Tuesday waited till nearly 11am, called and asked for GM, who was on the phone, called back 10 minutes later and she was gone, once again I hung up saying wouldn't matter if I left a message, no one returns them.
A young gentleman was nice enough to call and listen, but "I am sorry for the confusion," is absolutely not making me any happier. I asked him what qualified him for guest relations and he had been a host at a restaurant. No offense to you young man, but you should have never been handed this call.
Oh by the way, I received my download twice this morning at 11:09 (after I started calling again today.)
Pitiful
Wish we had gone to ANY other dolphin swim adventure, maybe they would have appreciated our money.

this was the highlight for everyone in the family. The interaction with the dolphins were incredible. would highly recommend pay the xtra for the pictures. Both my kids now want to be marine biologist

I have always been enthusiastic about dolphins. From my point of view they are the most besutiful creatures on earth.
I have been at the Dolphin Plus Bayside 3 times already ( 2009, 2016, 2017) and I will go again next week.
Especially the natural swim is an unique experience😍
The animals are simply adorable and also the workers are friendly and open-minded.
I would recommend this to everyone, even if you are not obsessed with dolphins, after visisting the Dolphin Plus Bayside you will be!☺️

I was told we would have a great spot to take our own pictures (as opposed to buying their picture package) and that was not the case. Picture package is $90 in advance or $110 after swimming with dolphins. Either way, it is grossly overpriced. If you do go, and you are military or veteran, call to book your reservation as they offer a decent discount. As an observer, you get in free with military discount (normally $10 pp to observe), and structured swim was $170 pp (normally $210 pp). The kids had a memorable experience that lasted about 20 minutes, and my wallet is much thinner.

This is the second time we've experienced the Signature Swim, and the dolphins truly love visitors and performing for swimmers. They come to the edge to say hello and eye the people who will enter their waters. The trainers adore these animals and treat them with respect, care, compassion and enthusiasm

My husband and I participated in the shallow water experience. Directions leading up to our encounter were very clear and informative. From the moment we arrived on location, every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. Our group of participants was diverse: adults, teens, families with small children. Jackie, one of the trainers, split the group. Half went with another employee down to the lagoon while we stayed with Jackie. She gave us a preliminary introduction to the program and facilities before we headed down to a covered porch area. We received our life vests and more facts about dolphins and what we were gong to experience. She further divided our group and "assigned" us to certain dolphins. She asked if another couple and my husband and I would mind going last. We were going to be with Samantha, the matriarch of the dolphin pod, and Jackie would be our trainer. We were able to watch as the other groups engaged in the signature swim and could take pictures. When it was our turn, Jackie led us down to the lagoon where we waded out into waist deep water. While Samantha was our primarily dolphin companion, we were lucky enough to interact with her daughter as well as two other females who were just curious about what we were doing in our corner of the lagoon. Jackie shared fastinating facts as we were able to spend considerable up close, hands on time with the dolphins. I have no idea how long we were in the water, but I certainly didn't feel rushed...although I could've stayed all day! I had prepaid for the picture package, and the link for the pictures was emailed to me by the end of the day. Our photographer had done a wonderful job of capturing so many amazing moments. It was by no means an inexpensive activity, but I can say without hesitation that our experience was worth every penny!

Very interactive experience. My daughter absolutely loved it and I have to admit it was pretty cool. I forgot the trainers name we worked with (early twenties, brown hair, and white sport top) but she was quite friendly. She spent a little extra time with my daughter afterwards talking to my her about how she worked her way up from volunteering in high school, zoology degree in college, and working as an intern at Dolphins Plus. I just wish the experience was longer.

We booked this for our daughter's birthday and she was delighted with the experience. Everything was top notch. The staff super friendly. The experience with the dolphins was wonderful. We had booked the one that had us in the water with the dolphins and I was concerned about the deep water. However, they give you vest that also have buoyancy so that made us very comfortable. Would def consider doing it again.

I surprised my new wife (we were on our honeymoon) with a birthday trip to have a dolphin encounter. I decided against the swim but not due to price or anything the venue did, it was purely because I knew my wife wouldn't want to get her hair wet!
Well she was very surprised and had an amazing time.
I have swum with dolphins before so I just went as a observer. This is the best place I have been with regards to observer experiences. I could stand right on the dock next to where my wife did her experience. I ordered the photo package too, whilst a little pricey I wanted her to have some amazing photos to look back on, they didn't disappoint.
The dolphins are well cared for and if they go off whilst you are having your experience the trainers just talk about them, they then return on their own accord and they continue.
I would recommend this to friends, family and anyone else wanting to have a dolphin experience.

Trainer Jessica and her staff were absolutely fantastic. We did the “signature swim” which included my daughter, age 8. I was impressed with the natural environment in the Tarpon bay/basin the dolphins live in. The experience exceeded our expectations as we got to get quality time with 2 dolphins doing lots of fun interactions. Highly recommend and would do it again when we come back to Key Largo!

This was such a wonderful experience! My friend and I chose to do the Dolphin Dockside experience. We got to kiss a dolphin, stroke her belly and have her swim under our outstretched hands. It was definitely a highlight. If I had it to do over, we would get in the water with the dolphin!

Absolutely incredible! We did the structured swim at the Oceanside facility. Great introductory lecture on dolphin anatomy and behavior, followed by a swim with two, dolphins, with back and belly rubs, kissses, being pushed by our feeet at high speed, and towed by two dolphins' fins at high speeed across the pool, finishing with a "superman" swim, with one dolphin pushing each foot as I held my arms in front of me. An "off-script" encounter with a dolphin calf who was investigating me just addded to the thrill. It's not cheap, but if there is only one thing you could and should do. In the Keys, this is it. The trainers were great. The dolphins were amazing. An unforgettable experience. PS. buy the pictures. They're not cheap either, but the photographer does a great job, and you'll want the memories.

Have wanted to experience dolphins up close for many years!!
This did not disappoint:)
Everything was great- from the staff (Anna, Tara & truly everyone we encountered) the dolphins, the photographer!!

Very nice facility. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. It was not scary to be in the water with those wonderful creatures. They are smart and gentle. Loved the tummy rubs. She just kept coming back for more!

If you love dolphins, don't miss this experience on your trip to the Keys. As soon as we got in the water, 9 month old Tug started nudging my feet. He was so playful and the instructors are teaching him how to interact with everyone. It was AMAZING! My only complaint is you aren't in the water as long as advertised. It's about 30 minutes when all is said and done. Worth every penny, but I think you should know the amount of time you get in water before you pay. I miss Tug already!

Great location, friendly people, and amazing dolphins! Our daughter is 7 years old. She was a little nervous at first, but the trainers were very patient as were the dolphins. We all enjoyed our swim!

We visited Dolphin's Plus (Oceanside) on November 21, for our granddaughter's 4th Birthday surprise. We had a lovely orientation with Dany who was very enthusiastic and well informed. We experienced the waist deep encounter with trainer Britney. She was very patient and kind with our 4 year old who was a bit apprehensive at first. She made the experience wonderful and we look forward to returning when our grandchildren are a bit older and can swim with the dolphins. Photos are wonderful! Thank you DP staff!

We enjoyed the experience so much - the check in - introduction - telling about the dolphins was with so much love and respect - and at the pool our trainer checked both the dolphins and us to be ready for the ‘swim’ and dolphin kiss 🐬🩵

My husband is very elderly and disabled and we had our 9 year old grandson with us. Trainers Jenna and Kim made this shallow water experience a dream of making wonderful memories come true!! They were both extremely attentive to my husband’s needs and making every single aspect of this almost 2 hour experience the most wonder time I can remember in a very long time ❤️❤️❤️ I thank you both from the bottom of my heart, I’ll be taking my other grand kids soon.

be careful: although the various dolphin encounter sites promise of interaction with the dolphin THIS IS NOT TRUE. The dolphins go through a structured routine of tricks and are always being controlled by the trainers.
It is still a special encounter to be in the water with the dolphins and feel them swim around you. But as you're only in the water for about 12 minutes, and (again) you simply go through the routine, it becomes very expensive for what it is.
I can understand if they want to keep the interaction between the visitors and the dolphins to a minimum, but what is being sold is mildly deceptive to say the least. Other dolphin interaction sites were exactly the same, so here dolphinsplus was no exception.
Still, if the money goes to dolphin research (as we were explained) then I guess it is not all so bad.

My son and one other teenager were lowered into the water and they both had lots of interaction. This plave is very respectful of the dolphins. They take care and treat them well and many live longer than in the wild. Very nice and professional employees.

My wife has always dreamed of swimming with dolphins so as a surprise for her on our 30th anniversary we came here. The experience was above and beyond our expectations, and was the highlight of our trip. She got to paint with Julie and we also got the photos which captured the joyful story of an uplifting adventure. The staff made us feel so comfortable it was like visiting old friends. The restroom facilities were spacious and clean. After we left, we laughed at how we forgot all about our anxiety and any fears we had.

Not sure what to say besides this was the most amazing experience!!! The staff is unbelievable and this is definitely a bucket list experience. I only wished the swim could have been a bit longer....but come on. I kissed a dolphin!!! Loved it.

We did the shallow water experience with the extra money for the photo shoot. Although we are still waiting for the link to the 50+ photos made by a professional photographer. The experience with Leo was wonderful and we were able to kiss, touch, rub and learn about his life and anatomy. Remember to take a towel or plan on paying over $25 for one there. Also, there is only one restroom that includes a shower and area to change afterward. We were heading down to Key West right after and no longer had access to our hotel room.

The facility was very clean and professionally run. All staff members were very friendly. Our girls 17 and 21 had a great experience!! My husband and I wished we would have booked as well! I would highly recommend.
We purchased the photo package and we were glad we did….the experience we purchased (signature swim) happened to occur on the far side of the lagoon.
We could see we’ll enough but too far for photos.

We came when it wasn't busy so it was very nice. They can paint and had a real live Christmas tree. 🐬👌🐬👌🐬

Dolphin's Plus was one of the best experiences that we have ever done with our kids. My children are younger, and we chose to do their Shallow Water and Signature Swim experiences and it was beyond a dream come true for them. The kids are in life jackets, in the water playing with the dolphins with a trainer. They were giving belly rubs, petting the dolphin, playing, giving them hugs and handshakes. In the signature swim my daughter was able to have the dolphin give her a kiss, rub and play with the dolphin, have them jump over a bouey, hold onto the dolphin as they swam her in the lagoon and lay back on her life jacket and be pushed by the dolphin while she floated, both of their expressions said it all and it was beyond worth every penny. You can tell that the animals are so well cared for, the staff there is beyond amazing and the pictures are worth every penny. We will 100% be back and recommend for anyone considering.

We met a family at KONA KAI that were going to swim with dolphins. We tagged along to watch and take videos.
It was SO COOL!!! they have several types of experiences. This family did the free swim. They were in the water with the dolphins. It is a bit structured but still oh so cool. The trainers are experts at what they do. There is so much love and care for these animals. They give you a true education about the dolphins and what is going on the the oceans with people and animals and what we should do to help preserve them for years to come.
I hope to return with friends in the future and swim with the dolphins. What a wonderful experience. You are in the water a good 45 minutes. It's not a 5 minutes thing. Yes, it is expensive but the money is going to care for these beautiful animals.

Small group, one other couple with our dolphins, Wendy was the trainer we worked with. She did a great job sharing the time among us and we all went away with a once in a lifetime experience. Great photos and a BUNCH were included to choose from for the package photo deal. Thank you!!

Our family visited on July 6, 2017. We had three adult observers, and one adult and two children going in the water with the dolphins. We paid $210 per person for the structured swim most popular choice. When making the reservations we were told it would last about two hours. We had about 35 minutes of instruction by a very nice young college student. You are placed into groups of 2, 3 or 4 persons when it's time to go in the water with the dolphins. Each group spends about 10 to 12 minutes in the water total from beginning to end with the dolphins. We have no complaints at all about this experience as our eight-year-old and 13-year-old absolutely loved it! The only complaint would be that you don't really get to spend as much time interacting with the dolphins as is advertised. It's quite pricey for the amount of time spent. Everyone there is knowledgeable and pleasant. Our dolphin instructor Wendy was super super fantastic! You can tell she loves these dolphins and the people as well. We would do this every time were in the keys if it weren't so pricey.

Me and my 3 y/o had an amazing time. We took an almost 2 hour drive from Miami Beach to make sure to go to a place where dolphins are treated the right way and we were not disappointed, in fact we were amazed of how good they were with the dolphins and that they made always sure they’re comfortable. We loved it. I can only recommend this place, it’s absolutely worth the experience. And the pictures they took were stunning. You need to get this package. I can only recommend it to everyone. Thank you for an awesome time.

My daughters did the structured swim and it was an awesome experience for both of them! The instructor was friendly as well as the lady who took the pictures. We got over 200 awesome photos that showed them smiling from ear to ear! Everyone we encountered was so friendly. They even gave us the names of other things to do In the area...how cool is that? We would definitely go back for other programs! Thanks for an awesome experience for our girls!!

The staff at Dolphin Plus Oceanside are amazing. From the start to the end they make you feel more like a friend than a visitor. My wife and kids did the swim and on the drive back to Marco they were already planning their next visit to Dolphin Plus. Well worth the time and money, clean facility, friendly, experienced staff. This is what you tell your friends about.

Awesome experience and a definite memory maker! Our trainer was fantastic! Pictures excellent! Highly recommend to young and old alike!

Florida isn't just known for Disney land; at the southernmost point of the state at Florida keyes you can go swimming with Dolphins. When you are in the pool with the other people there will be a trainer there who will teach you about dolphins while you're in the water with one as it swims around and makes high pitched noises. I came here with family in 2006 and my brother and I were able to stand in the water with the dolphins before we were lined up with the other visitors where we could touch and even kiss the swimming mammals. Their skin feels like smooth and wet rubber if you decide to give hem a kiss, you'll just taste salt. It's a great place to take your children since I was 10 at the time and it'll be something they'll remember forever.

This was a pretty good experience. I loved meeting the dolphins and getting to know them. The package I bought allowed me to get in the water with them and do some tricks. My only complaint is the price is a bit high.

We have been to Discovery Cove twice. Whist the Dolphins are only a small part of Discovery Cove, it's what we went for.
In our opinion Dolphins plus offers a more immersive and individual experience. The trainers really care and you get the impression that they are really making a difference.
We highly recommended a visit here, great fun and very educational.
We did it as part of a tour to the Everglades and Miami, Miami Dolphin tours

Excellent morning spent playing in the water beside a family of dolphins. Once in a lifetime experience and while pricey, worth every penny!

Amazing staff, amazing dolphins, fantastic experience! Can't say enough good things - will definitely be back.

Awesome place, best part of our trip! Would do it again! Great for kids and adults. Even received a gift from the dolphins!

Fantastic experience here!! Covid safe and all that which put my mind at ease. They offer a lot of cool things but it’s all pretty pricey, which isn’t surprising. Luckily, 100% of that money goes back to the dolphins which is why I chose Dolphins Plus Bayside. Definitely a once in a life time thing to check off your bucket list! One thing I’d recommend is having someone to take pictures of the group, it was just me and my friend so we both went in and had to pay $90 for pictures (though they turned out great!)

We did an in-water interaction with 2 amazing dolphins. Playtime with the dolphins will be a lifetime special memory for our entire family.
First there was a great educational talk. The emphasis was on the dolphins being comfortable with the experience - which really impressed me. You can tell the entire staff is dedicated to the dolphins welfare. A major reason we chose this facility is that its main mission is dolphin and whale rescue.
Once we were in the water you could feel a connection with these magnificent creatures! It's surprising how large they are while being so gentle. Highlights were letting us rub their bellies, giving kisses and a fin ride. Their intelligence is obvious and each has its own personality.
Thanks for the memories!

We had a fun experience led by Caroline. She answered all our questions and helped us have a safe and meaningful experience. The animals were allowed to interact at their will and were not forced to do anything they weren’t interested in doing. All staff were nice and helpful.

With 3 grandchildren and one at the age where an adult had to be with them(8years old) this experience was a bit expensive. The trainers were great, the experience once in a lifetime, although all 3 grandchildren want to do this again. The trainers know what they are doing and really seem to love what they do. Everyone gets to do the same things like the dorsel fin swim, the belly rubs, etc. We did not feel rushed ,any question someone asked was answered and we could stay and watch other groups in the water.

We booked the Signature Swim experience for our 13 year old daughter. She paid for this out of her own savings because she really wanted to do it. I have done dolphin experiences before at Discovery Cove in Orlando and on a cruise excursion, but they were nothing like this one at all. This experience at Dolphins Plus Bayside was amazing and my daughter absolutely loved it. The smile on her face as she was interacting with the dolphins (Samantha & Luna), said it all. She just made memories to last a lifetime. The trainers explained everything and made it such a fun experience!
I highly recommend Dolphins Plus!

My grandchildren had a truly wonderful dolphin encounter at Dolphins Plus Bayside. They loved every minute of their experience. The trainers were adult and kid friendly enabling all involved to feel comfortable with this very special event. The facility is immaculate and the dolphins are clearly well cared for. The trainers obviously love these dolphins which was evident throughout the entire program. My family and I highly recommend Dolphins Plus Bayside and the unique human/animal encounter it has to offer.

The Sencond time I had a dolphin swim. But this time was better. there was enouhg time to have contact with the Dolphins. Photos are a bit expensive but worth it

Amazing how suck a conservation-minded organization can also promote fun. I learned so much about dolphins and the environment. And I had a blast. Samantha the dolphin is my new BFF.

Amazing experience swimming with the dolphins! We loved the ability to be be pulled through the water, pushed through the water, and kissed by the dolphins. The dolphins jumped through the hoops that we were holding and it was so fun to be apart of this stunt. This was on my bucket list and I am so glad I did it. The dolphins seemed well cared for and appeared to enjoy playing too. There is a charge for people to observe, I feel you should be able to be allowed to have someone watch with a paid participant. My husband watching thought the time was short for the cost, however I felt satisfied because I was able to experience each activity that they mentioned. ( I think it all depends on what you are expecting)
Overall it was wonderful and I recommend this!

Our family of 6 had an awesome time doing the Signature Swim. Being in the water with the dolphins is such an amazing and unique experience. The staff's care for the dolphins and for all of us was great to see and we learned a bit in the process too!

The overall experience was great and we loved every second of the interaction with the dolphins, until one turned aggressive. Towards the very end of the swim one dolphin came towards me and whipped its tail against my chest. It wasn't listening to the instructor. It came back around again and hit my arm with it's fine. At that point the instructor told us all to get out of the water.

Had a lovely and fun experience with my daughter during our signature swim !
Trainer Jess’s report with the dolphins is jaw dropping ! Just amazing
All staff were so friendly and you it was no doubt how much the dolphins loved interact with us and if they didn’t want that was ok. At one point
Luna disappeared down to the bottom for a couple of minutes and then decided to join in again 🥰

We did the full experience and it was incredible. The staff was great and truly cares for the animals- highly recommend!! Tip- bring your own towel and change of clothes.

If you want to go swimming with dolphins this is the place to go! The trainers and the coworkers were really nice and the dolphins are amazing! It was wonderful to see how the trainers and dolphins were working together giving us a wonderful time! The best part was that you are doing the swim on the dolphins terms so you know the dolphins are getting treated well! The only thing bad to say about this is it was too short a time lol and the pictures were a little expensive compared to the quality. So if your family or something can take pictures, it is the same as paying 45 $ for it.

I legit loved this. We arrived and we checked in and then were brought down near the bay and the dolphins to get an instructional briefing and information session about dolphins and how to help dolphins. I learned a lot of stuff! Amanda was very informative and upbeat. Trainer Jessie was super helpful and friendly during the shallow water encounter. She did a great job being patient and working with Leo to make sure we had a lovely experience. Her passion for animals was very clear and she made herself available for any questions we may have. Everyone on the staff was super knowledgeable and loved to share dolphin fun facts and I learned a lot. But this was a bucket list thing for me and spending that time with Leo is a memory I will cherish forever. I've been inspired to help be a better human for him and dolphins everywhere and be more mindful of my plastic usage. Leo was very fun and charming and did lots of tricks like kisses and waving his fins and tails. He also did some cool impressions! I don't want to ruin the surprises! But seriously, I can't recommend this enough and if I return to the Keys, I will absolutely go back in a heartbeat. A huge thank you to the team at Dolphins Plus for helping make my dream come true and being so patient and warm. Please give Leo a kiss! Also, if you plan to buy pictures, which I did, do it ahead of time and it's about $90 and I received about 40 images about fifteen minutes after my encounter. There is apparently photographers there taking pictures regardless and they'll send you the gallery but it'll cost more if you don't do it ahead of time. Trust me, this is such a special thing and you'll want the pictures so think ahead, be smart and save the money by buying them ahead of time!

Did this for my 50 th Birthday, got to scratch that off my bucket list. Well worth the money to have this opportunity. They start with dolphin facts, I learned a lot of things about these beautiful animals that I did not know. Then you proceed to the swim area where you get to interact with the dolphins. I’m still in awe. This is a must do for adults and kids alike.

Very reasonably priced and wonderful facility! The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable! They all appeared to love the dolphins and what the do!

We signed up with the morning program Suppose to be 90 minute program. The talk about dolphins was almost longer than time spent in the water with the dolphins. The trainers were all very nice but for the cost for the time in the water was expensive.

This is our second time visiting. The structured swim.. although pricey.. is definitely the way to go! The dolphins were jumping through hoops our kids held, giving our kids rides as they held on to the dolphins dorsal fins, and giving our kids kisses. It was great! The dolphins clearly are very happy and totally enjoy what they are doing. The picture package.. although again pricey.. is worth it. Really great photos of the awesome experience. The workers were also helpful with booking, and made the experience very enjoyable!

This whole experience was incredibly amazing! I have wanted to swim with dolphins for years and this lived up to my every expectation. Absolutely incredible! The dolphins and trainers were wonderful and this was easily the highlight of my trip to the Keys. The photo package was absolutely worth it too! Lots of wonderful pictures at angles and close proximity my husband could not have gotten as an observer.

I got to shadow a trainer here named Caroline, as well as do a dolphin swim. She did such an amazing job at answering all of my questions and encouraging me to pursue my dream career (which is to work with marine mammals). She knew the answer to all of my questions and didn't hesitate to give me advice about applying for volunteer and internship opportunities. She was very helpful and friendly. I had a wonderful time with the dolphins. They were all so friendly and playful. They take such wonderful care of these animals, and I loved getting to get a hands-on experience with them.

An amazing experience! Took 7 year old daughter and loved the interaction we had with the structured swim. The activities we did with the dolphins were so fun and you could tell the dolphins loved what they were doing with you. We had B.B. and Isaac - two teenage dolphins who were so much fun to watch interact and to play with.

Wonderful experience with the dolphins and great team of trainers that are mostly biologists and behavior scientists. Some of them even did university studies on dolphins, see the cases in the visitor center. The swimming with the dolphins must be awesome. I was just taking pictures and got really nice ones. Highly recommended activity in Key Largo.

My wife doesn't swim but wanted to meet dolphins up close. She felt safe and comfortable with the platform lowering her into the water. The staff was great. They put the dolphins health and well-being first. They really care about the dolphins. They stayed and answered all our questions. This is more of a research and learning facility than an entertainment venue. The groups are small and focused on interaction, not getting you out for the next person in line. Definitely recommend if you want to interact and learn.

I was so fortunate to make a lifelong memory with my daughter swimming with the extraordinarily smart Dolphins in the structured swim. Being a 2 time cancer survivor every day is a gift. I no longer put things off so when I heard about this opportunity I jumped on it. It was incredible! Seeing them work with their trainers and their unique personalities was precious. This family owned business is a true gem in the Florida Keys. If you are in south Florida or in the Keys this is a must for your vacation. It's a memory that will last a lifetime! For me and my daughter, priceless.

My family of 7 did the shallow water experience and it was awesome! They do a talk before hand and give you the option of a wet suit or not . The encounter was incredible and the trainer was very knowledgeable and our dolphin, Leo was adorable. A definite stop not to be missed!

Worth every penny. The trainers and interns are knowledgeable and caring. The dolphins are happy and playful and the whole experience was amazing. You stand on a platform in waist deep water and go through various tricks and tasks with the dolphins. It's not timed. When you've ran through all the tasks it's over. Everyone gets to do the same thing with the dolphins. I think we were in the water for about 45 minutes to an hour. Was awesome!

I highly recommend Dolphins Plus in Key Largo. We looked at several options in The Keys to swim with dolphins and we're so glad we chose this one. This is worth the money. The description of our swim was exactly what we experienced. The trainers really cared that we had a good time and that the dolphins had a good time. Being that close to a dolphin in the water is an experience of a lifetime. The trainers are dedicated to the health and well being of these dolphins. I was impressed by how long they've been building the program. None of these dolphins were taken from captivity. Don't hesitate. Book a swim- you won't regret it!

The kids (9&11) enjoyed Florida all over incl Orlando and Everglades, but the Dolphins won by a mile. We did structered swim and the service was just perfect. I read earlier rewievs complaining about the length of the action. The truth is that our time was about 20mins but that is close to enough. As once in a lifetime experience - great!

My wife and I are on the “more mature side” but always wanted to swim with the dolphins. Trainers gave a good orientation and we really enjoyed the contact with the dolphins. Areas of improvement was the one restroom in the waiting area was inadequate with a long line. We purchased the $89 photo package - we received a zip file that we had great difficulty working with unfortunately.

My ten year-old granddaughter had an amazing experience interacting with the dolphins in their lagoon. This was a memorable and very enjoyable birthday present that I know she will remember for years. We also attended the behind the scenes tour, as it was very interesting and educational learning about the nutritional and dietary needs of the Dolphins.

We did the structured swimming programme and my daughters were really amazed and excited, telling me that it was the best invested money ever ;-). My only complaint is about the delivery of the photo, that we ordered from Doplphinplus team - it took 4 days (!) to receive it by email. My urging emails remained unanswered, but suddenly after 4 days the photo finally arrived.

I am a return customer and will continue to be! I love that these dolphins are in their natural environment. Staff is great, very thorough in explaining what to expect even for the most novice dolphin swimmers. Great place! So much fun and fair time with the dolphins in the water!

Staff was great. Really amazing and respectful animal encounter. Very expensive, but worth it if you have enthusiastic people with you. If anyone is less enthusiastic, they can stay with your group and take photos.

While the facilities are clean, be advised that there are risks when getting into the water with the dolphins. In February, a dolphin at the site rammed its snout into my boyfriend's left chest, resulting in bruised ribs. The pain interfered with the rest of our trip and his ability to go to work in person for almost a month. After the incident, we were told by the trainer that the dolphin was only seven years old and therefore makes mistakes. She said it was fortunate that no children were hurt. Dolphins Plus also gave us a full refund. However, even now that it's August, he sometimes feels sharp pain in that same area of his chest.

Had the most amazing fantastic experience with dolphins plus it was an absolute dream. Come true, swimming with Samantha.
Words, just don't describe how amazing this was.

We went there as a party of 5, 4 participants, 1 awesome photographer (me). We had a swim with dolphins experience. After a brief introduction including how to behave best to be the most interesting participant with do's and do not's. The party went with a guide into the swim area. The experience was really good for a closed in encounter and it seems like the dolphins had just as much fun as we did. The great thing about this experience is that the dolphins are not forced to do anything, by trainers or whistles but can swim freely and interact and experience you just as much as you can. It comes highly recommended, and is as far as I am concerned quite close to meeting wild dolphins, which to me is the very best experience I've had with these playful majestic beigns.

We signed our children up for the meet and greet with dolphins. Our kids loved it. They did not actually swim or get in with the dolphins, but they got to pet them and have them do several tricks with them. Additionally got super cute photos of them kissing a dolphin. Our kids like learning about the dolphins prior to the meeting.

Nice place to go for a controlled swim with the dolphins but it was EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE and there were so many people and only one time per day that you can swim with the dolphins....my 2 children had to wait a half hour by the water and watch another group 'do their thing' before they finally got in the water. a LOT OF WAITING AROUND, including the fact that they told us to get there at Noon for a 12:30 start time and when we got there they said to come back, then kept us waiting un oil 12:45. They want $85 for photos (!!!) and it's already $210 per person to "swim" for 30 mins. RIP OFF CITY

What an Awesome Experience- Our Entire Family was able to participate in some form or another- The staff was Amazing, Knowledgeable and Friendly
Will Definitely be Visiting Again !!

Everything was great EXCEPT... The spectators. Myself and my two kids did the structured swim and my wife was a spectator. The spectator "viewing area" was very disappointing. We were at the end of the doc where my wife couldn't see or enjoy anything except the closest family to her. I felt bad as she wasn't able to watch her children swim with the dolphins even though she was supposedly a spectator. She feels like she missed out on the entire experience sitting on the sidelines. Maybe a new viewing area should be created that runs the entire length of the doc if spectators aren't allowed on the doc itself. Pretty disappointing. The dolphin swim experience itself was wonderful. Would recommend to anybody.

This is a must! Put it on your bucket list. The trainers are marine biologists and highly trained. They answered all the questions and gave tons of info.
The dolphins are amazing! My son said that he was surprised the dolphins are more like humans than just an animal! Get the photo pkg. it is worth the price. We all want to do it again, again, and again!
Clean, polite, helpful, smiling, friendly, relaxing, easy, entertaining, experience!

It was so much fun, the trainers were awesome. The dolphins were so sweet. Hurly was Lexys favorite ❤️

Do not pay for the pictures. The photographer stood behind a glass barrier with their logo which blocked my head and the dolphin from most pictures. Complete waste of money. And then would not respond to my emails.

Pros
My 2 boys -ages 15 and 19, and I had a great time with the dolphins. My oldest was not sure he really wanted to participate but he did and was so glad he did it.
We participated in the "Stuctured Swim" which to me looked like the best chance to really get to spend time with the dolphins. There were 3 of us, but 4 in our group.
We each got our individual time with the dolphins. There were 2 dolphins (a mom, Jessica and her baby-Jett). Sometimes the baby would not perform the task (like a kiss) but my youngest still had the best time.
We each got to do the dorsel fin pull, the push with their nose to make us swim fast, a kiss and many other tasks. The staff is very trained with the dolphins and I was impressed with their knowledge.
I am an ANIMAL LOVER and like to see that the dolphins are taken care of and they seemed to be taken good care of. The only concern I had was that the mom dolphin had a pinkish mouth and was wondering if that was a result of pushing people in the water with her mouth (the tip of the dolphin).
I liked the fact that the dolphins are not totally closed off in an area and other marine life can come into their area. Besides eating fish all the time they get an occational crab and other food that swim into their space.
Dophins Plus must be doing something right to have so many baby dolphins born in captivity. I know if these dolphins were releast back into the wild they would not survive. They are well cared for and have plenty of food to eat.
Cons
It is a little pricey ($200 each), but I looked into other experiences and most of them just let you touch the dolphins and swim with them for the same cost. There was an educational time before the actual swim and that was a little boring, but I did learn some more about the dolphins. It is also a research center where college students can learn more about marine lifeand study it closer. They also have 2 locations to make more space for the dolphins. We only went to the one location, so I do not know the condition of the other area.
You NEED to make reservations. We went on a Saturday and they seemed really busy. As we were leaving a family tried to get an experience with the dolphins but it was full.
Pictures
As for pictures, a person (not participating) can come in for $10 and take pictures off to the side. Their photographer takes pictures straight on. The pictures were $90 for 3 of us, but induvidually I think it would be more.
The other person we were with had a GoPro on his wrist and could not do one of the tasks because the dolphin was scared of the new object. They did try it 3 or 4 times. My suggestion that if you have a GoPro use a head mount and they might not be as afraid of that.

Really cool place and experience for the kids. Wish we had bought a swim session instead but the kids were thrilled at the dolphin kiss which included more than just a kiss. Julia the dolphin did a few tricks for the kids and they got to touch her a number of times. The facility looks like they take care of their dolphins and ask them to do certain behaviours rather than being forced. Would definitely recommend and revisit on our next vacation to the Keys.

The price $185 p/p was a complete and total rip off. Criminal! I would not pay $10 for my grand kids to come here. Sea World Orlando is 100% better.
The education portion was given by a person who not been trained nearly enough on the dolphins.
- no video to educate
- used an old dirty plush toy dolphin to teach the parts of the mammal.
- dolphin the fish vs dolphin the mammal.
- types of dolphin
- oceans in the world and their dolphins
- just how smart are dolphins?
- how are dolphins protected?
- what countries allowed them to be harvested for food?
- largest dolphins in the world/where are they?
-how are dolphins used by our military?
Our purses, wallets, cameras valuables? Where do we store them I securely?
- told we could bring to our car or leave in education room(unsecured) or bring to dolphin pool, again unsecured.
The dolphin shallow water experience:
- not allowed to wear water shoes.
- slippery moss covered rocks
- photos with dolphins were rushed and very poorly set up.
- poor hand grips for balance
Photographs
-$89 for some posed horrible photos
- over priced to the max
Final overview
- none what so ever
- we were told to put our life vests in a wheel barrow cart.
Gift shop
- minimal clothing choices
/ over priced
Chance of return?
- never ever

Very good tour, knowledgeable guide, a fun time, and we saw lots of birds and manatees and learned lots about the islands

What a fantastic experience! Yes it is pricey, but when would you ever get the opportunity to interact with dolphins in as intimate setting as this? There were four of us in our family. We had our own trainer and three dolphins to interact with: Briggs, Julie, and Leo. We spent a good amount of time in the water. We did things as a group as well as having our individual moments too. There were smiles all around as documented by the photographer on site. Plan on buying pictures. We paid $90 for the complete download- 224 pictures. I highly recommend this.

This is our 2nd visit, this time with 2 children. Great experience for all the family. The trainers seem very caring and happy to answer any questions. Even though expensive a wonderful family experience which we would highly recommend.

We were lucky to get a spectator pass, both to watch the educational part of the dolphin "experience" but also see up-close the dolphins, trainers, and paid guests interact and show their stuff!
The staff were, overall, outstanding. They were patient, well-informed, and thoughtful towards the guests and to us. And, most importantly, they seemed all of these things to the dolphins. Of course, the dolphins were just incredible. It's hard to explain how special it is to see these highly-intelligent and emotive mammals up close, and see them interact with their trainers. I actually shed a tear or two watching dolphins seek reassurance and treats from them. BTW, the trainers made it clear from the get-go that the dolphins are not forced to do anything, even if it means they don't perform. This was so important, as it established quickly their love and respect for these special creatures.
I'm having a tough time writing this review however because though our time there was priceless, I saw the documentary "The Cove" last night. I'm beyond devastated to learn of the industry of purchasing dolphins for entertainment has resulted in daily and extreme violence towards these precious creatures in Taiji Japan. We're talking thousands of dolphins being slaughtered in the most cruel way. I know this specific organization means no harm, and likely had no interaction with this facility, and has done its best to respect and care for their dolphins in general. But this industry needs to end, and I don't know how I can support the continuation of this industry in general unless this Holocaust (yes) of trade stops. But I say this with pain, because my experience here was tremendously positive. I only wish we could enjoy dolphins and them us without this horror in the background.

it was the best experience ever... My Daughter (6 yrs old) got so excited. Ant the coach, she is amazing, she really loves what she does. The dolphins are so payy and well cared.

Our family's experience at Dolphins Plus was amazing. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The Signature Swim is just perfect for adults and kids (ages 10 and 11). I highly recommend also purchasing the picture package. The pictures captured show the pure joy and excitement on all our faces as most all pictures were candid. We will definitely be booking another experience next year when we visit the Keys. Looking forward to seeing Samantha, Nyla and Luna!

I’m really really glad my 14-year old and I did this! Worth it for the “mems” as the kids say. I gave it a 4* just because I wish we had a little more time with the dolphins, but I get it that their safety is primary concern. Although photo package is pricey IMO, (should be more like $49), you gotta do it to get the great photo worthy moments. Overall, it’s a recommend.

My 4 and 7 year old got to get up close to Bob & Al today : ) It was so awesome & worth every penny for a great cause too.

Dolphins Plus is just awesome!
We had an amazing private encounter with Leo the dolphin. He is so fast!! and so sweet. We learned so much information about dolphins from his trainer. She was absolutely wonderful with him, made us feel 100% comfortable during, and was so funny! They did not rush the encounter at all. They have a nice gift shop to purchase some things to remember the dolphins too.
Thank you Dolphins Plus for the wonderful day, and the unforgettable memories!

Easy to find on the Gulf side in Key Largo, Dolphin Plus is AMAZING! Having done several programs throughout the Keys, this is by far the best. I did the structured swim with my mother and daughter. Memories of a lifetime. Do yourself a favor and flip for the photographer- it's worth it, terrific pictures.

I booked a structured swim as a returning customer. How different it was from the last visit. I Las visited about 11 yrs ago and I truly thought it was money well spent this time however no so impressed. We travelled from orlando just to do the swim, it was 30 mins on a safety talk them 15 mins while they split us into groups then 20 mins in the water and that 20 mins was split with another party that was in with us. So actual interaction with the dolphins was around 10 mins. I could of just found somewhere near orlando and saved ourselves a 9 hr round trip drive.

We did a dolphin experience in Hawaii some years back and this was way better! Trainers were very nice, funny and informative. This was not a Bailey get to touch, have photo and leave place. There was a lot of interaction with the dolphins. The trainers cared about the feelings of the dolphins and worked hard to ensure people and animals had a good time.

For our daughter’s Christmas gift this year, our family of four participated in the structured dolphin swim together, and wow was it amazing! We are all so glad that we did it together, rather than just watching, as being in the water with these amazing intelligent creatures was awe inspiring! It was pricey, yes, but we are so grateful to have had the experience, and glad to splurged on the picture to capture the memory.

We signed up for the shallow water experience. It was great and exceeded expectations. Seeing what the structured swim was like, we wish we had done that. In fact, I upgraded my son's visit from a shallow water event to the structured swim event for when he gets down here. The first part of the event is an educational one that teaches you about the dolphins. That isn't explained on the website. Even though we didn't know that ahead of time, it was a nice plus for us. Our trainer was excellent and so were the dolphins.

Love love loved it!! It was more than expected. A bit pricey but hey you only go around once. Absolutely glad I went. Staff was very up beat and you can tell they care about the dolphins.. 2 thumbs up.

Took my daughter for her 7th birthday. Staff was great. Facility was beautiful and dolphins were well taken care off. The shallow water experience was perfect for my daughter. Highly recommended.

Mark this one off the bucket list! Swam with dolphin, check! I've wanted to do this as long as I can remember. So when the hubs and I were spending some time in the Keys, I knew it was my opportunity to jump in. After careful research, I decided to book with Dolphin Plus. They weren't the cheapest and they weren't the most expensive. They had some solid reviews and I liked the experiences they offered. I booked the shallow water experience. I was told to bring a swimsuit, sunscreen and a towel and to show up a half hour early. We got to the Oceanside location about 45 minutes early because we were out and about. They have a little gift shop you can peruse while you are waiting and a bathroom if you need to change into your suit. The staff was friendly upon checking in. We ended up buying the sunscreen from them that was non toxic for the dolphins. We were also charged 10 bucks for my husband to come down to the water and observe. Once it was time to start we were shuffled down to a sitting area by he water, where we could see the dolphins going through some exercises. An intern then went over some dolphin etiquette, some dolphin facts and some information about the ocean and littering. We were then fitted for our life jackets. There were three other groups signed up for the same time, but they were having the structured swim. So they split us all up with a trainer. I can't remember my girls name, but she did an awesome job of explaining stuff to me. I had a great time. I got to interact with Isaac and B.B. It was so much fun. I know others complained about the time with the dolphins, but mine was perfect. My only complaint was their pictures are 80 bucks, so I was on the fence. I asked about them and was told the photographers were fantastic and and they recommended buying ahead. We decided to wait until after the swim to check them out. They were dark, they were out of focus, they were not good. Kind of disappointed. Probably the only time I'll ever experience that and I got the intern that didn't know what h was doing. So we ended up finding two that were decent. We purchased them were told they'd be emailed to us. Two days later we still hadn't gotten the email. So we stopped in on our way out of town. Apparently they never wrote down the two images we purchased and so they did nothing...the lady at the counter first told me I'd need to go back through them...and after a few minutes decided just to give them all to me. That would have been great had they been good images.

Very organized and well kept place. Everyone is very nice, trainers and dolphin program is great! Stop by and create great memories.

This is by far the best place to swim with dolphins. The paint with a dolphin is great for all ages. You will take home a one of a kind piece of art.

The Oceanside main facility was badly flooded on the first floor during Hurricane Irma, but devoted trainers stayed there through the storm to care for the dolphjns, and none of these wonderful born-in-captivity highly trained animals even tried to leave. A month later, when i made good on an IOU to my husband for my 30th anniversary gift to him, we found that the staff had it all under control again, with happy dolphins eager to play with human toys, to challenge themselves and avoid stressful boredom. They were wonderful, as were their trainers! It is amazing to have not just such a fun inter-species interaction but one between sea and land mammals. We included having "our two" dolphins do a painting for us to take home, an abstract in three colors (which I chose) on. 10x10" canvas to take home, which is the best of "souvenirs"! Participating in this was further bliss!

Swimming with dolphins had long since been on the list of things to do and it definitely didn’t disappoint. We were keen however to visit a sanctuary, albeit run as a commercial operation but where the dolphins were cared for and their welfare important.
We were given a talk by an intern before meeting our dolphins and the larger group was split into smaller units so that your experience with the dolphins was fairly small and intimate.
We met Leo who was delightful but I’m sure the other dolphins were too. We did pay for the photo package as we wanted some decent photos to help us remember our time there, fairly expensive but they were really good pictures and you get all of them digitally to keep.
Nice shop with some reasonably priced souvenirs
And friendly staff to complete the experience.

It was a dream for me to swim with dophins ! This place is the place to go ! Dolphins are well treated and they don't oblige them to do anything. We even took a break to let the dolphins rest. It is a great experience and the trainers are really nice and love their jobs. It is expensive but it is worth the money !

This was amazing! A last minute decision to do this activity and so happy we did. Called and got lots of info on offerings. Asked if a military discount was available and it was - yeah! Caitlin was great with the briefing and our trainer was so good with the humans and the dolphins. This team loves what they do and it shows. Thanks for a very special experience for our family! Great memories!!

Kids got to see up close and personal, had a blast. The last thing we did on our trip but will be the lasting memory. Varying programs based on comfort level. Dolphins were fun to watch, the trainers are phenomenal. Very clean facility. Good activities to do while waiting for your experience to begin.

It was a great experience for us to see and touch the animals so close. We felt like the animals were doing really well in this environment. The carers explained everything to us great. We'll be back!

I've always wanted to swim with the dolphins, and I had the opportunity to bring my granddaughter along (as well as her mom and dad) We arrived early, only to sit around and wait for all the other people with reservations.
On their website they state that you should plan to spend 2 hours here, from start to finish. From start to finish, including the beginning talk about dolphins, to the instructions and then the actual swim didn't even come close to 1 hour.
The beginning talk was informative and interesting, Figure on about 15 minutes. Then another 15 minutes where everyone lined up to get their life jackets on. After that a quick talk on what to expect and what we should do when in the water.
Everyone was split into groups of 6. And although I loved the structured swim, I feel it was way too short (maybe about 20 minutes) for the way too high price (over $200 per person). Although I did not expect to spend 2 hours in the water, because there's only so much that can be done on a structured swim, I did expect more time and more interactions with the dolphins such as hugging, more jumps, and more touching.
Don't get me wrong, the dolphins were amazing. And I'm glad I was able to enjoy and participate in doing this.
The staff took pictures, which were also pricy ($99). The pictures came out great, but I also expected for that price, video of at least of the dolphins pull and the feet push.
Would I recommend this? for the experience, yes, But for the price (look for Groupon deals) and the short amount of time with the dolphins, no.

This is my third time visiting Dolphins Plus, 2nd time with my children and every experience is fantastic. Such a good job educating visitors about Dolphins, and so much fun interacting with them. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly!

My boys had a wonderful at the dolphin center! The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable.
The environment was very welcoming and natural. I can’t stand the aquariums. The dolphins looked happy and calm. And , naturally interacted with my boys and even myself when I was just watching.
Highly recommend!

After waiting a good 57 years to finally experience the smile of a dolphin up close and in a very personal manner, I can’t think of no other words to express myself but to use a very common one: disappointing.
I went to Key Largo a few days ago and I could not resist but to book an experience that I have been waiting for since I was about five years old.
With several options to select from, I opted for the shallow water experience rather than the more popular one, which is “billed” as “swimming with the dolphins.”
I don’t know what I was expecting all these years. Perhaps, a much closer and natural encounter... an encounter that would have stayed with me for the rest of my life.
But it was not like that. After a lengthy class and introduction to these beautiful mammals, we went into the shallow water with the trainer who introduced us to Nica.
After about ten minutes of experiencing the different behaviors Nica was trained to do, we abruptly had to stop because Nica had gone to a different group and touched someone.
So, the small lagoon where we were at had to be emptied out to show Nica her behavior was not allowed.
The truth is, we watched Nica swim to the other group and we didn’t notice anything unusual. I don’t even think, the teen at the receiving end of her touch noticed anything either. We were all puzzled by the sudden “dolphin time-out,” and so we waited for Nica’s time out to be lifted.
So how did it feel to be so close to these beautiful creatures? It felt very far... it felt very staged. It did not feel like they were even there... and perhaps that’s the key word to use for this review.
I wish I had opted for the deep water experience. Maybe if I had, I would have felt “closer” in a more spiritual way, and not so far away in the “physical” sense.
So at 62 yrs old, I guess I still have enough time to keep looking for that beautiful dolphin smile, and perhaps I will have a second chance to truly experience the dream of my life.

This has been on my list for a long time. finally got to participate in this fantastic experience and was super happy I did! It was wonderful and for those with kids, extremely family friendly! I would so do it again! FYI - this is not inexpensive, but really worth it!

It was nice to have my family out there by ourselves and get all the attention! Dolphins were great.

I was very impressed with the dolphins and how well trained they are! It was a very fun and educational experience. I would highly recommend it! However, I do think it’s a bit overpriced and I would have liked to have met more if not all of the dolphins they mentioned before the encounter. I was disappointed it was short and that we only met Samantha and Luna. Other than that, it was great!

My family of four adults did the structured program yesterday and had a fantastic time! Our trainer, Jenna, was enthusiastic, friendly and kept our time in the water moving along at a great pace. The dolphins were spectacular! We had an absolute blast. I was afraid the lagoon would feel crowded but I never noticed the other deep-water group at all, there is plenty of room. The dolphins seem to be happy and content and the interaction between them and the trainers is warm and loving, very nice to watch. We purchased the photo package and received about 200 pictures on a usb drive - awesome!

Our daughter took part in the Dolphins Plus Junior Adventurer Camp for kids ages 11 - 14. What an AMAZING experience she had! She got to learn so much about dolphins as well as spend so much time with the pod there at Dolphins Plus. We'll definitely be doing this again next year. Can't recommend it enough!

Our experience was amazing! Our trainer's courtesy and experience helped us learn and enjoy the entire experience. Thank you Taylor and Hunter! Great place.

For my son's 13th birthday he was gifted with a dolphin swim by his grandmother. He had an absolute blast working with these amazing dolphins and learning all about them. He was in a group with 2 other people we didn't know and so they took turns giving commands to the dolphins per the trainers instructions. He said it was an incredible experience, he just wish it would have been a bit longer because he enjoyed it so much!

The Trainer-for-a-day program was beyond our expectations. The staff (all women) were extremely friendly and we learned a lot from these incredible animals. The dolphins are very well treated and healthy. Kaitlin was a great trainer. We’ll never forget the dolphin kisses and hugs. Thank you for such a memorable experience!!!

catch tourist: expensive for the service, super short.
We took 2 packs for the children to pet the dolphins on the edge,
We had the impression to disturb and pass between 2 other services: the lady arrived, our daughters had to stay with the dolphins 15 minutes, and the lady went back to the other pool without saying goodbye
Given the price for 2 children, and we had taken the photo pack, we expected more time and a more qualitative service
We will not go back

The actual time spent with the dolphins is extremely short for the amount of money spent. I’m glad my kids had this experience, but we wouldn’t do it again. It was their top choice of excursions to do, but one the vacation week was over it was ranked lowest compared to other things we did. Yet, it was the most expensive.

Located in Key Largo, Dolphins Plus Bayside is home to approximately four dolphins. Choose from one of the dolphins encounters offered at Dolphins Plus. The experiences include a dolphin dip, meeting a dolphin, or even painting with a dolphin.
We choose the Dolphin Dip. This was a once in a lifetime experience that I wished would have lasted a bit longer than it did. My estimate was the entire experience while in the water was about 30 minutes. Time flies when you are having fun!
We were able to touch the dolphins, swim with the dolphins, and even have the dolphins push us by our feet. My son thoroughly enjoyed this experience.

I came to this facility a few days ago to watch my children swim with the dolphins and they had the best time ever swimming with Nica and Nia. We arrived and was greeted by a young girl who was very welcoming and excited, then we waited around for quite a bit for our briefing to start (our fault for arriving very early). The briefing was full of interesting information, although at times it can be hard to hear the person talking because there are fans all over the place to fight the heat. I suppose it’s either have the fans or have people getting hot and angry, the former is the better option. The red headed girl giving the briefing (sorry I don’t recall names too well) was great. My children were grouped with another family, but everyone had their own private session with the dolphins. While my kids waited for their turn we spoke to our very kind photographer, while he explained to us that our photos would be delivered within 24 hours my kids were then brought down to the water. Observers aren’t allowed to be on the floating platform with everyone, which I understand that it would be way too many people on the platform. My kids LOVED it, The interaction was not too long, about 15 minutes, but they really enjoyed it and that’s what counts right. The trainer, Paula, made a great impression on my daughter who made us buy the book on becoming a trainer in the gift shop afterwards. They have a cute little book for guests to sign in the gift shop. Overall experience was great, a big thanks to this Dolphins Plus. Hope to see you on our next visit to Florida!

We had a great time surprising our 7 year old with playing with dolphins. We had a wonderful time and the trainer we were paired with did great working with the kids involved. If you can have someone in your party stay out and take photos then do it. Very disappointed in the photo package. This isn't a cheap activity and then to have to pay a lot of money for a photo collection of 60 that you may only want a few is too much.

We swam with the dolphins! Wish we would've swam with the sea lions as well! Could've spent more time here. Did tricks with dolphins. Loved it!

The experience we had at Dolphins Plus is amazing!
The booking process was really easy. When we arrived at the center, we waited for about 10-15 minutes before our tour started. The waiting area was really nice! Then we got informations about dolphins in general, about the experiences we booked and we got to know each other a little more personally which was very nice. After that, we got our swimwear and vests and were ready to go. We booked the Signature swim and it was worth every dollar! Everything is handled in a very respectful manner without that classic "tourism-flipper-vibe" what we really enjoyed! Everyone there was suuuuper nice and friendly and even if you don't speak / understand English that well, they do their very best that you can participate without limitations (a translator is necessary though) The experience with the dolphins itself last about 15-20 minutes (you are allowed to put a GoPro on a headmount too) which was absolutely great. After all, I would absolutely recommend them to everyone, since you get a very respectful experience with the animals and humans! Thanks again for the great experience!

My daughter, son in law, granddaughter, and I did the signature swim at noon. It was truly amazing! The trainers were top notch and worked together with two dolphins to show us many exciting dolphin behaviors. I was particularly interested in how the trainers got the dolphins to work together to simultaneously push my son in law and me across the water. I then hung on to both for the ride back across the pond. I highly recommend Dolphins Plus. You will not be disappointed!

I was so surprised at how trained these dolphins were. Our instructor, Kim, was very informative and helpful. I got to swim with Julie, Hurlee, and Ige and they did so well showing off their tricks. I did the shallow water encounter and it was perfect for my large group. We learned so much about the dolphins. I had such a great time that I ended up getting a necklace of Julie the dolphin's tail (sold in the gift shop). It is very cute and whenever I look at it, it reminds me of the great experience I had at Dolphin Plus.

Enjoyable experience with the dolphins and their trainers No actual swimming but you were actually able to pet the dolphins They were very entertaining and the trainers very informative So interesting

We had a wonderful day in dolphins plus doing with my children doing the shadow a trainer experience and adults doing signature swims. I would 100% recommended both for a once in a lifetime experience. The staff are kind, knowledgable and so clearly love the dolphins it’s a wonderful place to be from every perspective.

The program is very well organised and all the staff really love their dolphins. The dolphins seem really happy there and are super cute and looking forward to the interaction, which makes it a really really lovely experience..
Jenna was so passionate, ready to answer any questions about her beloved dolphins it was exceptional and super cute. Her good mood and passion was contagious ! She made the whole experience something I will remember all my life..
Jessica is really nice and knowledgeable but on the bossy side.. I guess she has lots of people being jealous of the poses one person got to do and the other not ..
If you want to see some happy dolphins go to Dolphin plus on bayside !

I love marine mammals but have never done an interaction with them out of concern for how the mammals are treated. A friend did this and recommended it so we finally decided to go. We were simply amazed at the care that the staff provide for these wonderful animals. They have a dolphin that is over 37 years old. Dolphins are lucky to live 20 years in the wild. This alone demonstrates the love and attention that they show these amazing creatures.
We did the shallow water experience. It was incredible and definitely something that we would recommend for anyone.
Go, you will love it and learn a lot.

Super fun! Worth the money for sure. Informative and enjoyable. The trainers got to know you and said your name. The dolphins each had tasks they performed to show you their skills.

I’ve wanted to swim with dolphins for as long as I can remember. Today my daughter and I got to participate in the structured swim. It exceeded my expectations. The trainers were wonderful. We got to get up close with the dolphins. The whole thing was awesome. Even after we were done they allowed us to watch as they fed and worked with other dolphin. Highly recommend this experience.

The encounter was a bday gift for my daughter (11 years) We had a great experience, the staff was helpful attentive and friendly. Alexia was mixed in two other groups but it was still very personal

We booked a shallow water experience for our last day in the Keys -- heading from Key West to FLL. Best experience of our trip. Besides the obvious, swimming with dolphins, the entire afternoon was both fun and educational. The staff there truly loves their dolphins and are excited to help guests learn about these amazing mammals. Further, our trainer could not have been nicer to our 6-year-old daughter and went above and beyond in helping her appreciate everything she experienced. Frankly, 5 stars are not enough!!!

Me and my family were a little nervous going into this since we have never done anything like but they made it so calm and relaxing. The animals were very well taken care and staff was very knowledgeable and excited to educate us. We would highly recommend this family experience!

My review reflects my experience based on having a daughter who was a guide at The Wilds in Ohio. Her guests were her number one priority! These encounters with giraffes, rhinos, bactrian camels, and a multitude of other exotics, are most times a once in a lifetime opportunity. Understanding each animal is the most important, she would ensure the photo opportunities of exactly what the guest wanted. Today at Dolphins Plus, that did not happen for me and I overheard a mom and daughter from Austria ask for the same thing. It didn't happen. Very sad. And it was not like the dolphins were not cooperating, it's was the trainer. I'm so upset and disappointed at how rushed we were and how our wishes were not even acknowledged. I would 100% understand if it was the dolphins, but I was not. This was after spending over 225 x 3 plus around 500 in the gift shop. I'm just disgusted. Maybe she does it for a living every day and it's not that important to her that YOU the guest, get the photo experience you want, but the guest's wishes should be considered. It's not cheap to do. And if you're asked for a certain photo, she should have did everything in her power to make that happen. Mom has been there before and she was greatly disappointed this time also. Two available times per day. We did the 9 am and there was less than 5 people sitting in the instruction for the noon swim, did there was ample time.

We're not big swimmers but me and my fiance had an amazing time at this. The pre experience educational portion was short and friendly and the trainers Hunter and Luke were very friendly, exciting, professional and accommodating.
They moved all groups through in multiple rotations so everyone got fair time with the dolphins and they made it fun.
They also doesn't as much time as we wanted hanging out afterwards and answering questions while the dolphins played and then relaxed right in front of us in the water.
Expensive but well worth the money and you can tell the dolphins are well cared for.

This was the perfect dolphin experience for my two kids - one is adventurous and wants to be in the water. The other is more cautious and prefers dockside. Dolphins Plus offered both options. They were also very flexible on the day of our reservation and ended up accommodating both kids at the same time. They loved it! Great staff. You can tell they really love what they do. It’s a quick visit and definitely worth your time!

We booked the shallow water encounter with our 14 & 12 year old daughters. For our swim, we were in the water with 2 other small families. We had a great time with the dolphins (3 in the lagoon with us). Our trainer did a great job getting everyone time with the dolphins. Total swim lasted about an hour and we had a good time. Only downside was there was no place for us to get our own photos (except from behind us). They do offer a photo package (rather pricey) and photographers can get a better view of the dolphin swim. Despite this, we had a great time getting close to such wonderful animals.

Excellent time spent here we was late due to traffic and they put us on the next slot no problem at all. Our 2 year old loved the dolphin kiss and 16 year old and partner loved the swim with dolphins. Definitely recommend

I highly recommend Dolphins Plus. Myself and 3 other friends enjoyed our dolphin swim very much. Everyone was very professional. Our trainer Kim was great and the education girl was very good too. She explained things very well. I definitely would go back again. Loved it!

My husband and I took part in an early morning guided swim. It was just the 2 of us and a trainer in the water with the dolphins. This swim was amazing because it allows the dolphins to choose to interact with you. I quickly learned how gentle the dolphins really are. Bee bee and Isaac were crazy about my husband, blowing bubbles and squeaking at him like crazy. The care givers and trainers really love these animals. Thank you so very much Wendy for helping us to enjoy these remarkable creatures. We would encourage everyone to visit.

This is a must do while in Key Largo. Our 4 year old loved the swallow water option to be close to the Dolphins. The staff was very professional and very informative.

Dolphins are amazing. Trainer was great and adjusted the plan when the dolphins chose not to do what she wanted. Once in a lifetime experience. The business side of this needs work. I booked online. The website had a ten percent discount offer which I never received after providing my email when I asked about this the girl at the desk when we got there said she’d let the manager know. I paid for pictures and they came watermarked after the photographer explained that if you bought the $90 package that they would not be watermarked. So now I have to go call them and figure it out. I suggest figuring out pictures once you arrive. They take pictures of everyone no matter what so you don’t have to select and pay for this in advance.

We were so disappointed. We'd booked our experience here because we'd read many positive reviews and wanted to surprise my girls for their birthday with a dolphin encounter. The reviews we had read on tripadvisor were for another dolphin plus facility about 4 miles south which are apparently not associated. Very confusing. The dolphin swim is not a swim by any means. you can do two things in the water with then where they tow you a very short distance. One dolphin who wasn't meant to participate crashed into my youngest daughter and hurt her chest and she didn't want to do anymore. the experience just lacked overall class and wasn't what we expected. We booked later in the week at the rescue facility which Isn't associated but is also called dolphins plus the rescue responder. This is experience was far superior and we actually got to swim with the dolphin and felt more up market and we will recommend to many.

We brought our granddaughter to Key Largo for a brief vacation with our friends and young children. We arrived at Dolphin Plus Bayside a lovely Keys style complex with palm trees, tropical flowers, and the sound of dolphins splashing in the bay! We checked in and went down by the water to the teaching area. Dolphin Trainers hold an educational briefing prior to the Swim / Encounter. The Trainers do an excellent job of educating everyone about the Dolphins, explaining their uniqueness and safety behaviors. They are very knowledgeable and were relaxed throughout the session, putting everyone at ease, reducing the children's anxiety and increasing their anticipation. Trainers seem to display a wonderful insight into dolphin behavior, and as a result the dolphins always seem to be excited to engage in activities with trainers, children and adults. The trainers allow the dolphins to have choices in the activities - which excites the dolphins and gives the children a thrill. The Trainers are enthuastic as they initiate each activity, and the dolphins are just beautiful as they engage the children and adults in kisses, handshakes, rubs, splashes and jumps! This creates lots of smiles, laughter and 'Pure Joy' on the faces of children and adults. It was a wonderfully enjoyable experience; the dolphins certainly appear to be having a good time. We can't wait to return and do it again!
We got great pictures and had a wonderful time!
Thanks for the Memories!

This was a great experience. Trainer was amazing and the photographer did a great job the photos were awesome...HOWEVER... for the price (200+ per person plus 90 for photos.) I would expect to have more than one (one stall) bathroom for all the men and women to share as a bathroom and shower and changing room. (Once at the water there was another one but you are not allowed down there until right as your adventure begins and the trainer is preparing you) There were probably 30 people in the timeslot we were in. Another group leaving as we arrived and another group arriving as we were finishing.... Extremely frustrating to spend more time waiting to change than the experience took and yout are in trouble if you need to use the restroom. One kid had a serious accident trying ti wait in line. Many customers in line were complaining about the same thing. Because of this, I'd recommend checking into the Theater of the seas on the next island. It may not seem as big of a deal until you get there and need to use the bathroom and there's a line of 15 people ahead of you aced each one is showering, changing and using the one bathroom available. They could do better than this! When I asked the lady at the counter if that was the only room she was not friendly and acted like she could care less that we were frustrated. We were heading further down the keys afterwards and it sure would have been nice to get into a changing room rather that hunting down a gas station to change and clean up in. Even a couple of changing tents would make sense.
Day kissing dolphins
Our 2 daughters signed up to kiss the dolphin program. It was very educational and super friendly staff! My girls were ecstatic to be up and close to these magnificent creatures! We purchased each the tail pendant of the dolphin that kissed them as keepsake. A bit spendy but less than Sea World. Money goes to great cause !
