This ball park is nicely situated with good parking. The park is much smaller than a major league park, and the prices are much better! The baseball is great, the food is also just fine for ballpark food. All the seats are good.

Beautiful Texas League ballpark where the Rough Riders play. Great fun with all the hot dogs and popcorn to accompany the game. Fireworks after game on some nights are a special treat.

By reygato |

caught a couple of mid week games while on vacation, as we enjoy visiting ballparks and watching baseball games. The park is nice. They do not draw much of a crowd weeknights. Not cheap as far as minor league goes, they do offer a good selection of beer and snacks, compared to other minor league parks. The best value is popcorn in a souvenir helmet with free refill.
They also have a large video screen on the scoreboard, and seem to be a little more high end than most parks.

I love this ballpark. Very nice and clean. Swimming pool and lazy river in right field. Beer garden in left/center. All seat are good. Decent prices for tickets and food. I went on Dollar Beer night. I'm told its every Thursday. What a deal. Not a little bitty cup either. A whole 12oz can! And, when they blow the horns during one inning you get $1.00 bratwursts. Can't beat it. And the team isn't bad either. Entertaining for the family with a lot of stuff going on between innings. Close up reasonable parking. I love it!

By Chaltom |

Attended a RoughRiders ballgame - had a good time. Plenty of parking and an easy walk into the ballpark. Service personnel were friendly and quickly helped us find our seats. The new display sign is nice, showing player photo's and data plus the usual game stats - easy to see & read. Lots of seating, plenty of concession stands, but the usual ballpark eats & snacks - not especially healthy, but it IS a ballgame! Ballpark is a good size for the AA league games, big enough yet not overwhelming. Very family-friendly. Enjoyed the outing!

By Paul B |

Great time and great baseball. Park is very clean, good food and bargain prices vs. Major Leagues. Team is good for AA and entertaining. Worth a side trip if you want to take in game.

By Mac H H |

It's reasonably small and there are no bad seats in the house. Only the weather (hot) detracts from having a good time. Prices are reasonable, ~$20 for the best in the house, and, it has a new Lazy River that is available to the public on Thursday nights for $39 or available for rent on other nights. Great ball park eats and between inning entertainment. Many nights, the kids get to run the bases after the game. The dugouts are close and the kids (big & little) can get autographs easily.

Easily, one of the best entertainment values in the area.

My partner got free tickets at work, which included the free buffet. The buffet food was ok. The hot dogs and burgers were good. Beer was decent price. A man was selling beers by the entrance for $3. Cant beat that!! They had activities throughout the whole game. it was more fun than when I went to the Rangers game in Arlington. I hope my partner gets more free tickets because I want to go back!

By Russ74745 |

We attended a brunch and a meet & greet with the Texas Rangers in Jan. The experience was wonderful and put together very well.
We attend several Roughrider games each season, and this ballpark gives you all want for a game day experience. The facilities themselves are top notch, but the fun and total enjoyment of the game is all for the fans. This ballpark reflects the personality of the owner, and that is, make it a great baseball day for the family!

By pdorman |

This stadium is by far the best minor league stadium I have ever visited. Food and beverage choices as good or better than some Major League stadiums, and without the lines!! The new Lazy River should only add to the atmosphere.

By Jables77 |

Nice set up. Great views from all locations. Up stairs (crow's nest) bar/lounge. Concession and drinks available.

By Roxanne M |

Want to see professional ball played? Then this is the place. These players are working their magic to go to "the show." This is the "farm team" for the Texas Rangers. The grounds are wonderful. You can go as big as you want-private box, private restaurant to "a frugal day" at the game-sitting on the hill to watch, food vendors, etc.

By clowersd |

I have been here a few time it's ok but I am no sports fan at all so with that being said. To me is just another ballpark with ballpark food and drinks

By Brad E |

We came here as a family versus going to watch the Texas Rangers. The tickets I believe were $15 per person. Parking was usually $10, but they weren't charging for parking the night we came to watch.

The ballpark is clean, food/drink is still a little high, but nothing like what you would pay at the Arlington stadium or your average movie theater.

There is a free park with playground for younger kids at the end of the 3rd baseline.

If you like to watch baseball and don't want to 2nd mortgage your house to take your family...give this place a shot.

Oh yeah...they also have a parking garage right near the park, so lots of good/easy parking nearby.

By PlumPink |

GREAT place to watch a ballgame. Friendly staff and plenty to do for the whole family in addition to watching the game! The Lazy River looks incredible!

By Craig D |

Appreciate having a great venue like the ballpark to go with the fam and relax. Great value and worth the memories

By Daphne L |

Cheap seats, huge assortment of food, playground for kids, indoor bar with AC if you want. Easy in and out parking & access!

By Daniel D |

It is nice and cute. It was after baseball season so no game. Was at a convention and it was there to see.

By Beggs894 |

If you don't want to drive to Arlington, this stadium is a perfect alternative. All the seats are good and they make it especially fun for the kids. Lots of good restaurants around the stadium also if you don't want to eat inside the ballpark.

By Bobby A |

We always have an awesome time at DP ballpark to see the Frisco Roughriders play. Its quaint atmosphere allows you to enjoy the game and there's always some entertainment between innings. It's a family oriented park. Great to see these players develope and move up to the Major Leagues!

By el_Jefe972 |

Great minor league park to watch a game, not a bad seat in the house. It is great value compared to a MLB game. There are many great promotions through out the year. I usually take in 3-4 games per year since the park opened. Since I live in Frisco, going to see the Rangers is a hike and can get expensive and it take me less than 10 min to get the Dr. Pepper and you still great baseball and get to see Rangers players rehabbing from time to time.

By Meg B |

Want to avoid the prices, long-distance parking, and stresses of major league baseball? Try this park designed to look like an old-time baseball venue. The ticket prices are very reasonable, as it the food, and you can even park for free! The team goes all-out to entertain the fans with mascots, dancers, and contests and best of all, everything is so close. What a great way to spend an evening!

By Misty S |

It's a great and inexpensive way to get outside and spent time with your friends and family. Not a bad seat in the house and if you're lucky you'll be there for one of the games where there's fireworks after...it's beautiful!

By Marla Q |

We bought tickets on the Choctaw Lazy River on a Thursday night 5/18/2017. (Yes I said Lazy river in the outfield) Tickets included food and beverage... Dr Pepper of course! And happy hour was from 6-8pm for adult beverage drinkers. It was not crowded due to the weather. The water was warm and they provided tubes to float with. Bring your own towel or buy one there! No lockers for your stuff so bring as little as possible. We had a great time and the RRiders won! Thanks Texas for a fun filled trip!

By Lourdes R |

Very nice stadium, located near restaurants, stores. Recently was there for a graduation ceremony. The place is not too big, comfortable sitting, and easy access,

By fwcsportnut |

The Dr Pepper Ballpark is probably the best minor league baseball ballpark in the US. It is very fan friendly, great location, great prices and not a bad seat in the place.

By Ernest B |

We done cub scouts, Boy Scout and other groups also the family. Great fun for all at a bargain price. You will love it!!

By Nicholas N |

We were nearby on vacation and caught the RoughRiders playing our hometown Arkansas Travelers. It's a great place to catch a ballgame and really comfortable.

By Laura A |

This ballpark is very enjoyable because of it's small size. Instead of seeing the game from a distance, you feel like you're part of it. Great for families. Also, super deals can include tickets, ballcaps and food/drink.

By Carolyn |

We got upgrades to go into the JCPenney club for their meal. The food wasn't great, but they definitely still gave us a good time!

By SMLeek69 |

I took an 8 day Texas road trip in March 2017 with the main reason of attending the Inaugural Frisco College Baseball Classic. The universities in the tournament were; Arizona Wildcats, Arkansas Razorbacks, Nebraska Cornhuskers & Oklahoma State Cowboys. The UofA Wildcats finished 2-1. The experience at Dr Pepper Ballpark was a very positive one. The only negative was the weather. The ballpark is beautiful and well designed surrounded by hotels, office parks & shopping areas giving the feeling of a neighborhood park like Chicago's Wrigley Field but with onsite parking. My seats were General Admission but was the 1st row behind (2 games) and Home Plate side (1 game) adjacent to the Wildcats dugout. PERFECT!! All the seats provided good viewing of the games and beyond the outfield fences are patios & lawn areas for group seating, etc. I contacted the on field MC requesting Cotton Eye Joe to be played between innings. The request was fulfilled during the 7th inning stretch and I was allowed to dance to top of the dugout. My time at Dr Pepper Ballpark was a positive one. The ballpark also has a lazy river & water play area for summer games.

By Tom C |

The Dr. Pepper Ballpark is a great place to take the family. Texas Rangers AA minor league baseball mixed in with great family friendly entertainment. The San Diego Chicken, Zooperstars, frisbee catching dogs to name a few, the Frisco RoughRiders do it up right for a family night out. A 'Lazy River' pool above the outfield wall spans all across right and center field is available for groups of 25+ for a fee. I've worked in the press box since 2004, it's a great place to be and a great place to take the family, or have a couples night out.

By dcyonce |

This is by far the best layout of any ballpark I’ve ever visited. The stands are close to the field and face away from the setting sun. There are LOTS of food choices including special event catering and VIP club. Plenty of parking just outside the front gates.

There is even a lazy river just past the outfield that the kiddos (or adults) can float along while watching the game. Never saw that at a ballpark before !!

We always attend a few games each season. The grandkids love visited Dr Pepper Ballpark and watching the Rough Riders play.

By Vik P |

The Ballpark is set down in the stadium so it get good ventilation & breezes. They have a very cute Mascot that keeps the kids entertained. There are a lot of food vendors with a good variety. The restrooms aren't too crowded. I've gone many time & enjoy it.

By Sean P |

The ballpark does not have a bad seat. Lots of fun for everyone. They provide entertainment between innings and lots of promotional evenings. Good date night if you like ball.

By tbeckman |

Great place to see a game. Bring your blanket to sit in the outfield or take a seat in the stands behind the infield. They normally have some type of family entertainment or game theme. Plenty of food and beverage concessions as well.

By slmnsam |

Take the family and just go! You will have a great time in a more intimate environment for the family. There is no better time at a reasonable cost.

By Dandydn41 |

This is a great family ball park where you can see future Texas Ranger players .
Lot's fun for kids young and old

By anagorski |

Plenty of parking. Easy in and out to freeways. Nice sized arena. Great venue to see any sport or concert event. Walking distance to many hotels.

By ss309556 |

it was a small group of us that went over to the ball park and just enjoyed the evening. not overly crowded, so everyone had a good time

By Susan H |

The park is big and beautiful. The fireworks were fantastic after the game but the food needs to be a little better. Saw them wrapping hot dogs when we bought tickets at noon for a 6 o'clock game and the food reflected that!

By Beauchicken |

We go to 3-4 games a season and we've sat all over and in the suites a number of times as well. We always enjoy our experience and leave having had a great time, regardless of the score, although Frisco usually wins when we go. The people are friendly, the stadium feels new and clean and the AA ballgame in my opinion is old school baseball. The players are nice, they sign autographs and it is a wholesome family experience.

By Kentuxan |

We came here for a Wednesday night game in July 2016. The admission was reasonable, the concessions affordable *and delicious*.

My wife and I brought our two elementary aged kids along, and they had a great time. It was really fun for the kids, with lots of funny activities on-field between innings.

The environment here is very family friendly. I've never seen anyone drunk/beligerent/disrespectful at a Riders game ever. The ballpark does a great job of keeping the atmosphere this way.

I recommend you sit along the 3rd base line, as the 1st base line gets a lot of direct evening sun, which is intense in the summer.

By ddbet443 |

Took our family this summer and we had a great time!! Being close to the field and being able to see and hear the players interact is neat. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was fun!!

By Tara D |

We had not been to a game in years and decided to go one night. The park had just made some changes, so we were excited to see them. The new gift shop is awesome. The food is still great and the prices are reasonable. Loved the beer carts with different brews on tap like St. Arnold's... I still like the yard margaritas. All of the staff are friendly. We got a photo with Duece and our son was selected to run in the sack race in the middle of the first inning. Great family night!

By Karen C |

We went to a game here- and although it was hot- we had a great time. We had the tickets with access to the all you can eat area- it was a great deal. The atmosphere was family friendly too. Parking was only $5.

By J B |

Dr. Pepper Ballpark is fabulous. It is a top notch park with amenities that tops some MLB parks. It's got it all...craft beers, swimming pool/waterfall, good concessions (great hot dogs), manicured field, and Texas League AA baseball.

By gooner817 |

I've come to believe that minor league baseball is a superior experience to MLB. This is a great ballpark. It's inexpensive and great for family fun.

By LisaMayfield |

Just walking across the parking lot and seeing this park made me say WOW. I love how homey it looks. There isn't a bad seat in the house (well the never in the shade south side is not the most desired area to sit...) The Rough Riders were great and whomever they have running the music/sounds/video clips between pitches is a Hoot!!! I about spewed my soda on the couple of cracks that person made after foul balls!

By James C |

It’s a great stadium. Quality experience with an amazing atmosphere. Very attentive staff and the food and drink is reasonable price.

By Andy L |

Great venue, great location, close in parking, nice fireworks after last evening after a Rough Riders win. Just a nice family friendly place

By djahughes |

We love the Frisco Roughriders. We have been season ticket holders for three years. Convenient and easy. Everyone is very nice and there isn’t a bad seat. Affordable family fun!

By Becky A |

Took my grandson for his first baseball game in this stadium. We had seats directly behind the founders section. Great seats. We were right behind home plate. He loved it. We had a pretzel, cheeto popcorn which was the hit of the night for him, but should come with wetnaps!! Nice night at the park! My favorite place. would like to suggest some healthier options in the food selections.

By Texan214 |

You could drive down to the rangers stadium and be stick in traffic and pay a high price or you can come here and have great seats and see everything. They always have specials on for multiple tickets and the stadium is clean. Because it's Dr. Pepper you can only get their drinks. So no coke or Pepsi but they do have rc cola! Easy to get to and easy to get out. Lots of fun.

By lancec00k |

Dr. Pepper Ballpark is always a hit. Where else can you get tickets to a professional sporting event for a family of five for about $10 a ticket (about $50 total). Great in game experiences. Good ballpark food (premium brats are great!). Craft beer on tap. And the Rough Riders team makes it fun.

By CarnivoreGunter_TX |

We have season tickets and it always a hoot to go and enjoy a little baseball and eat. Great little ballpark that is easy to get in and out of.

By jweadock43 |

My son and his family took me out for father's day and we happen to hit dollar beer night. Great place, reasonably priced concessions, and a good game (the Roughriders won!). Great family value. Oh, and the hotdogs are fantastic!

By Debra W |

Great event for all whether it's a conference gig or family night, the park is perfect. Within walking distance from the Embassy Suite, so why not go ahead and stay the night, parking on the Embassy and a late night swim to boot. The pool stays open at Embassy until 1 A.M. The park Cowboy Mascot was on hand for numerous photos and made all feel very welcome, food and drink isn't outrageously priced as well, one can have a hot dog and beer for under $20.

By Oc3anM0m |

My two boys are not a huge fan of watching baseball but we have been coming here as a family for the last 12 years, because they love it. Minor league baseball is very laid back and this stadium makes sure you are entertained the whole time you are there. You can also sit in the outfield on the grass for an extra cheap cost.
If you need a place to stay, try out an Airbnb on the Lake Lewisville side of Frisco away from the hustle and bustle while you enjoy fishing, water sports etc, as well. There is an Airbnb listing with "1600 sq ft" in the title and is right outside of Hidden Cove Park.

By Nancy M |

Take me out to the Ballpark! A wonderful ballpark for a family outing, to run into friends and watch and support the Frisco Rough Riders. Not so big you have to walk a mile to get to the gate!
Such a cute ballpark with a hometown feel. The Embassy Suites is very close, within walking distance; it makes an excellent opportunity for a short family vacation.
The food is good with various eating areas; the ballpark Is clean and very comfortable! Don't miss this ballpark!

By Laurence M |

The design of the Dr. Pepper Ballpark is really cool. The staff really there for you. Food is great at the ballpark. Great family outing. Lots of freebies given out. We will go back again!

By Cheryl H |

This is such a great ballpark and provides three to four hours of family fun and entertainment. It is always so great to be close to the field and see the players. Not sure they are doing it this year but the fireworks are great and such a nice clean and fun park! Family fun at its best!

By TCregular |

This stadium seats almost 10,0000 and is likely one of the best Double AA baseball parks in the USA. Go watch the Frisco Roughriders play. Buy tickets in advance and pay a few dollars extra for unlimited hot dogs, hamburgers, soft drinks. It's a great deal and a lot of fun. Don't forget your sunglasses.

By Robert D |

great food prices...kids involved every inning...great mascots...some longer lines but good service...much more enjoyable in shade...souvenirs all over...really nice place to spend an evening

By texas_forrest |

Outstanding architecture that manages a blend of a nice ball park and yet maintains the atmosphere of a small stadium.

Tickets are so affordable. For a family on a budget, taking in a RR game is a fractional cost of a Rangers game.

The bullpen is close to the fans - you can hear the players talking and might even strike up a conversation.

Already a more than pleasant event, owner Chuck Greenberg has really made this a great fan experience.

By h t |

The stadium is great for watching a game Its well maintained, our seats were good. The food was good but not great, although the BBQ sandwich hit the spot.

By jasno |

Easy location, capacity is about 11k+ so relatively easy to get in and out of for games. There is a 2-section play park area for kids (and they LOVE it), and seats are easy to get. Only complaint is the speed of the concessions, the main food ones take about 3 innings.

By Kellye J |

I love this place! It is just the right size and there is not a bad seat in the house, even in the outfield. You can park close and see everything up close and personal. Plus the ticket prices are inexpensive. I've seen high school, college, and the Riders play here and really enjoy the experience. There are plenty of places to eat nearby if you don't want ballpark fare. It is definitely family friendly as well. If you stay at the Embassy Suites next door on the night of a game, ask for a room on the stadium side so you can look out from your room.

By bematos2790 |

Dr. Pepper Ballpark is home to the Texas Rangers' AA farm team, the Frisco Roughriders. There is not a bad seat in the house, and being that it's AA ball there are all sorts of family-oriented activities going on during the game.

The ballpark is very quaint and resembles a New England fishing village, although I'm not sure of the relevance to Frisco, which is about as landlocked as you can get.

Roughriders games occasionally feature Rangers players on rehab assignments, which makes it easy to see a major leaguer up close.

Add in great food options and a nice assortment of craft beers for mom and dad and you have all the makings of a great family night out. Highly recommended!

By MountainMama |

The Frisco Roughriders helped us celebrate our son's 8th birthday in the coolest way possible. My son is a HUGE baseball fanatic and dreams of being a professional baseball player someday. They allowed him to throw the honorary first pitch for his birthday and get an autograph from the catcher whom he noticed got called up the other day to play for the rangers. He had a GREAT time and was treated so well. Thank you Dr Pepper Ballpark for making my son's birthday a memorable one!!

By Ceslavie |

This place is amazingly friendly and comfortable. It almost feels like a "simpler" time when you are watching a game in this stadium, except of course for the state-of-the-art score board. Very family friendly. And many nights there are fireworks at the end of the game, so do not leave early. A good value is to get seats with the "all you can eat" arm bands..good for burgers, hot dogs, popcorn, and soft drinks.

By Pamela M |

This is a first rate family centered ballpark. The facility is very clean and modern. There are no bad seats. Excellent food choices. Good, wholesome family fun...and now with a winding river you can reserve and relax in while watching the game.

By LeeDogDallas_TX |

I like the smaller ballpark, all the seats have great views. Prices aren't outrageous. You can get anything you could at the Rangers, plus they have a couple places they sell alcohol along with beer and wine. Ticket prices are cheaper and it's fun to see the Rangers up and coming talent. Also convenient for me as it is across the street from my office. Lots of restaurants around the stadium as well.

By Ken B |

good park for a game , food not so great, every seat is a good seat. parking can be a chore unless you get there early

By Diana C |

Love, love, love this ballpark!! So much fun to go and have a evening out watching the Roughriders play ball!!! This is a great place for families!!!

By David W |

i have been to this ballpark several times and i always enjoy it. it is very clean and well kept and every seat is a good one. i wish they had a better variety of food, but that is a problem in many ballparks. i will return.

By Ashish P |

I always love going to the RoughRider games with the family, the park is very family friendly and great food and cheap tickets.

By Debra N |

There are no bad seats at Dr Pepper Ballpark and the staff works hard to keep everyone engaged and having fun. Wonderful place to see up and coming baseball players up close and they have many theme nights which are fun. Great place to take the whole family for an afternoon/evening of fun and see some ball!

By TaeguBubbles |

We love minor league baseball in part because you can get close to the action without paying a fortune. Certainly true here. The ballpark is lovely and has lots of special events to attract patrons. The seats are comfortable. The music from the lazy river area was a bit distracting at times, but all good fun. We were there on a Thirsty Thursday and my husband wished there were more locations that sold the craft beers that he likes. Next time we will know to get our seats closer to that specific vendor.

By Ann A |

My husband, grandson and I went to see the Rough Riders on July 4, and were thoroughly entertained. No matter where you sit, you can see the field easily, and there were fun family activities going on throughout the game. We found space in one of the parking garages, but could easily have parked in a parking lot at Stonebriar Mall and walked. I was pleasantly surprised by the efficient flow of traffic after the game. The fireworks after the game were spectacular!

By briley |

Our tickets got us good seating on the first base line about twenty rows up. They also included unlimited food and drinks with
literally no wait in line. Doesn't get much better than that!

By Arpit D |

I had privileges to watch my first ever LIVE BASEBALL MATCH.
The Pepper Ballpark is a fun place to be in , we can enjoy food and drinks along with wonderful sports. The arena is well setup and have some exciting crowd which build the day for some new bee like me.

By David W |

Watched the Roughriders play Arkansas for a night game. A lot of fun was had by all. If eligible, take advantage of the military ticket rate, basically half off the price. Food and beverage prices are what you expect. The night we attended was free craft beer sample in a tent on the first base line...plentiful and nice sized samples! Don't think there is a bad seat in the house (we were in row 3, deep in left field). The usual between innings contests that you expect in minor league games.

By RPCV_KM |

My eldest nephew's high school graduation party was held in one of the private party room/suites and it was the best time. The park itself is darling, the style and the layout really gives a nice ballpark feel, not to over the top but comfortable and just simply welcoming. We had the advantage of our own seats just outside of the party room so it was a treat and the fireworks show on Friday's is just the best I have seen and I am a huge fireworks show aficionado.

The private party room was clean and nice sized. All the staff assigned was on point and really helpful.

This is a great spot for a party or just to go for a game on regular night. The parking is as you would expect at a large venue but the coming and going is managed very well for where it is located.

By James D |

We visited the facility for regional high school graduations. There were thousands of people trying to find their way, but the ballpark professionals kept order and were able to assist the attendees in a courteous and helpful manner, especially old people with walkers and in wheelchairs. I'm sure these professionals are just as able in helping people who attend ballgames. Dr. Pepper Ballpark is a great venue in a great location adjacent to a major shopping mall.

By CraftyMama |

Got tickets for Sunday June 12th. Game was rained out, so we exchanged our tickets for Monday's double hitter. We love this ballpark because it's family friendly, clean, fun, low prices, overall safe! We've been server all times & enjoy coming back time after time.

By BillOsborn13 |

A wonderful place to take the kids for a taste of a professional baseball game. Easy parking and access to watch minor league baseball. The upcoming Texas Rangers play here. Great traditional baseball stadium food and amenities. Great choice of seating at reasonable prices.

By Bard T |

My wife and I just went to see the Red Rive celebrity softball game and loved the ballpark. It is very well thought out and clean. I am a good size man and did not feel cramped in the seats I highly recommend this attraction!

By Texasbaseballfan |

This year brings new ownership and a new attitude to the Dr. Pepper ballpark and to the Frisco Rough Riders. A new logo and new team colors makes for a new "face" to the experience. But there is much more "under the hood", so to speak. The concessions are dramatically upgraded, and the park is remodeled a bit. However, there is still some ways to go. As a hard core baseball fan, I was quite disappointed by the placement of the new scoreboard, which is almost impossible to see from the mid to far 3rd base side of the park. The players still are quite removed from the fans (it's so much easier to get autographs from players in other parks, and with other teams. Just went to a game at Round Rock, the next step up for many of these players, and there the fans are in much greater proximity to the players than here.)

Ticket prices are still a bit on the high side for AA baseball, and the sun can really burn you a bit if you sit on the 1st base side at the far end.

Still, you can clearly see that the new owners are making dramatic efforts, and if things continue, this could get a lot better, and soon.

By pam a |

my first visit to this venue and it left a good impression. i had gotten seats online and i was very pleased that i had a great sightline and that it was not in the sun for long.
i walked the entire length of the grandstand so i could see what all the concessions available were. there were ample restrooms, nice gift shop, and plenty of snacks to choose from. the baseball was interesting, the entertainment in between innings was fun and the program was helpful. very nice night out for not too bad a price.

By laciebug |

We have seen several baseball games at this park. The ticket prices are a great deal for a night out with the family. The food prices are really good compared to the Rangers prices. Even beer is not outrageous, about $7 for a 24oz.

They have a lazy river as well which is cool. We have never tried it but would like to one summer.

Sign up for there newsletter and you get alerts for specials.

By Jennifer B |

We love baseball games, and catching a Roughriders game is a fabulous family outing. It's cheaper and more convenient than going to a Rangers game (though I love that, too). There's not a bad seat in the place, and the people who work there are amazing. The ushers are friendly, the players sign autographs. So happy to have a Double A team so close!

By Roger B |

Great smaller ballpark. Not a bad seat in the place that I could see. Prices are about what I would expect and the food choices are generally pretty good. Atmosphere is great and the ballpark itself is attractive.

By 579sheryle |

this park looks like during the regular season would be a great visit. We saw it very clearly from our hotel room window. Very nice and well kept

By Andre S |

During some down time from a business trip, got a chance to visit Dr. Pepper Stadium. Great facility located in Frisco Texas. As far as a minor-league stadiums go, this the best one I've ever visited.

By 627chuckm |

From the architecture to numerous concession stands with all varieties of ballpark food to the well-maintained field to the programming in addition to some excellent baseball, this is a wonderful family outing.

By Diana C |

The best place to take family or friends to watch a baseball game !!! It’s a beautiful ballpark with tons of amenities including the Lazy River😊

By Ken C |

We took our 4-year-old granddaughter to the Riders' game last Friday night. She's gone to several Rangers games with us and enjoyed the "event," if not the actual baseball. But the Riders game was generally a much better outing. Nice park. We chose lawn "seats" (bring your own blanket), because that meant she wasn't confined to a seat or row. She could move and squirm and climb all over me, and even run up and down the left field hill as she wished (as long as she didn't bother others). There's a playground by the left field foul pole where she and Mimi spent an inning or two. And then her night was capped off by being allowed to run around the outfield after the game and then watch fireworks from the field. The only thing that would make it better was if the Riders would allow outside food and non-alchololic beverages. But even so, it was a good, fun, reasonably priced outing. Oh, and there's some pretty good food and beer options (Real Ale Axis IPA and Devil's Backbone) for the adults.

By TexAnn42 |

You'll love the splash pool for kids, sitting on a blanket in the outfield, and admiring the beautiful architecture. Go to Kroger for weekday value nights: hot dog, souvenir, and lawn ticket for $7!

Even though Dr. Pepper Ballpark is one of the top drawing minor league parks, I still consider it a hidden gem in the metroplex. A lot of folks don't realize that there is such a great, more affordable, family friendly alternative to going to a Ranger game right in Frisco.

Chuck Greenberg and his folks bought this team a while back and went to work. There is an awesome food truck area, a playground for kids, and a really cool bar. Tickets are affordable, there's not a bad seat in the house, and concessions are varied and available at much better prices than at the big league park.

I recommend catching a game on Thirsty Thursday when domestic beer is $1 and craft beers are $2 for the first chunk of the game. There are fireworks on Fridays, and the game presentation is always first rate. It is a bonus that they're the AA affiliate for the local major league team.

By AnnD143 |

Love the Rough Riders and enjoy taking family there. It's a perfect kids baseball adventure. You will need sunscreen, but other than that so much fun.

By S1141GEstuarts |

This ballpark has it all. The staff is outstanding. The tickets and food are reasonably priced. There is not a bad seat in the park. The players are intense because they want a trip to the 'big show". Lots to do for kids too.

By pjamesa |

We have visited the Dr Pepper Stadium in Frisco two times already this summer. We always have a great time with our family at the Dr Pepper Stadium in Frisco. Thank you! 🤗

By bkskye |

Great venue, easy access in suburbs, hustling baseball, friendly staff, tasty concessions and fun promotions. You had me at great! Now they are adding a lazy river. Much needed in the heat of summer.

By chgohotdog |

I love this park. This is the best family friendly park in Texas! Check for deals as they have a slew of them. The players may meet you at the gate to say hi and sign autographs. Volunteers stand by every section to help you if you spill a drink or have a cranky baby. Food is really good. The mascots entertain in the stands. There is always something interesting going on during the game in digital brilliance. Parking is ample and inexpensive. There are shaded areas for heat exhaustion. Also, if you book ahead there are water areas including pools and river rides. Don't miss this awesome park. Once you go there I promise you that you will come back.

By CobaltConnection |

Very economical. Great location. Plenty of parking adjacent to the ballpark. Great staff, from servers to upper level management. Clean, family fun. A great value.

By TMKFAMILY |

We love going to the Rough Riders games. We especially enjoy the games with fireworks. Great for a family.

By slash45 |

Dr Pepper park is home the the Frisco Roughriders baseball team. Every seat is great but you may want to sit on the third base side to avoid the sun in the evenings. Great selection of food and drinks with the usual baseball offerings. They have a pool in the outfield that can be rented for parties. The outfield has a grassy area which is great for families with small children or just to relax and watch the game.

By NorthTexasMBA04 |

This place is fun, friendly, inexpensive, and nestled in one of America's premier up and coming suburbs. Love this place, great place to take in a ball game on a Saturday night.

By Vickie C |

The Jimmy Buffett/ZZ Top concert was here and we had a wonderful time. The facility itself was easy to get in and out and many restaurants around for before or after the concert. Parking was not bad at all.

By Larry C |

The only bad thing I have to say is that kids crowd into the front attempting to get autographs (so do some inconsiderate adults) but overall it was enjoyable

By Don H |

This is one of the better minor league baseball park in the US. Beautiful stadium. Good park food. Comfortable seats. Good entertainment.

By Kyle Jennings |

I have been to many a stadium in my years and seen games from about every view possible but watching a game on a warm summer night from a lazy river takes the cake. The 40 dollar price tag is totally worth it for the experience.

By StacyTS |

My husband and I went this past weekend to a game, we have been coming for some years to different events at the ballpark. What struck me this visit is how long it took to stand in line and get our food, it was at least a 25 minute wait for some mediocre barbecue and drinks. Too bad their food does not stand up to how wonderful the ballpark actually is from the inside and outside. After all who else has a lazy river inside of their ballpark?

By Travelagg |

Great minor league baseball park! Relaxing and fun baseball experience. Perfect way to spend and afternoon or evening!

By cwd1952 |

This is a beautiful facility and staff was very customer focused. We were visiting for a the College Classic and will certainly return if the opportunity arises!

By Cassie Wilson |

My family and I recently visited for a Rough Riders game. Even though it's a stadium for a minor league team, you still get the "baseball" atmosphere. It is a very well kept ballpark and a staple in the Frisco community.

By Kathy O |

Great for families. Reasonable prices on food and good promotions. Want to try out the pool sometime. How cool would that be!!!

By Joel |

Took my team out to the Roughriders game on a Thursday since our office is across the street. Great ballpark. Ok team. The key was the grab-n-go ticket for unlimited food and non-alcoholic beverages. Beer was only $1 on Thursday. Definitely would do it again. Lazy river in outfield looked fun

By Tom H |

A very nice and intimate ballpark for an excellent family experience. The pool in the outfield is a nice touch, but I have never used it. If your kids want to get up close and personal with the players this is the venue to be at. Very family friendly.

Be aware that food can be pricey here but the facilities are top notch. The best days are promo days, where a ticket, souvenir and meal can be as cheap as $10.

By Liz B |

For the last home game of the 2019 season, six of us single adults made the trek to Frisco to try out the "refreshing" lazy river and $1 beers (and I guess to watch the game??? I'm not a sporter, so...). The Lazy River was fun, but let's be clear. By August in DFW, the water was as warm as bath water. So "refreshing" it was not. But it was fun, especially with the $1 beers (including a few girly canned drinks), free tubes and floats, and the lifeguards helped collect empty cans to build a a huge wall of empties.

By LMVtravel |

Family friendly stadium, fun for all, and affordable. I have gone to the ballpark numerous times over the years and always had a good experience. It is a pretty clean facility, lots of areas to walk around, some play grounds, nice architecture, and the several times where audience interaction is available.

By Capt_H00k |

They've done a great job of making this a welcome spot for any type of night. Plenty of activities for the kids to keep it engaging - between inning races, give-aways, interaction with the players. The seats are close enough to the action that you actually feel a part of the game. Food was not too overly priced but the use of the play ground and open out field makes it worth a family night - it the weather agrees. Get out and support the Rough Riders!

By Sue B |

Great minor league ball park! Facilities are great! Ball park food! Great for company, friends and club outings!

By Jen C |

This is a really nice ballpark. It is kind of a pain for parking, but if you don't mind walking, just park at the mall and walk over. I am not sure why anyone would build a baseball field in Texas without adequate shade. It is miserable in the heat of the summer. There is a pool in the outfield and a children's play area that is shaded.

By GlobalRoadRunner |

Our family has attended several games now and have had a great time. I love the close intimate setting. Sever seat you feel close to the field. There are extra activities for the kids, including a park with jungle gym, The facility is clean and well staffed. During the summer they shout fireworks and let everyone set in the outfield to watch (check the schedule).

By 671perlan |

We didn't go inside and visit but we drove by very slowly.....OMG what an amazing field. This field is built in and down in the ground. It is huge and beautiful! Looks like there are condos surrounding the field. There are various restaurants out side the park one can walk too. Plus there is a parking garage across the street. Looks like it was very well planned! Great job Frisco!

By Lynn G |

We love to take our kids to the ballpark. Great place for kids of all ages! Lots of entertainment and limited downtime to keep everyone engaged before, during, and after the game. Reasonably priced tickets and food, and some special deals from time-to-time on Groupon, etc. Go 'Riders!

By sjpipes |

I love attending ball games at this park. It's a small park seating about 10,000 (+or-) people so no seat is very far from the field of play. The young ball players are willing to sign autographs for your young children if you arrive early enough. The stadium is extremely family friendly. Catch a game any chance you get and see the rising stars who may have a future on the big league team.

By Jim B |

We were here for the inaugural Frisco Classic college baseball tournament, the 'Best Outside of Omaha. Not only is this a great facility with easy access and parking, but the staff is A-Number-One! Everyone we met, from the Event Staff at the gate to the lady cleaning the restrooms, were friendly, welcoming, and most accommodating. I would LOVE to come back for the Rough Riders season so I can enjoy a ballgame from the right centerfield pool and bar.

By Kenneth C |

Over the years, we have attended several events at Dr Pepper Ballpark and never once have we left disappointed. The RoughRiders are always competitive, the activities for the children during the game are entertaining, and there is a swimming pool as well. Should you have a special event, there are suites available, and if on a weekend, there will be a fireworks display after the game for the entire family. By the way, the pricing is family-friendly and the parking is convenient. If you have not already done so, make it a point to see a game at Dr. Pepper Park.

By Ankit G |

I have been here 4 times and I have loved the atmosphere every time. Of course, you want Frisco roughriders to win every time you visit it as the atmosphere is electric if it happens. You get to see players who will eventually make it to Major league playing for a AA league which is a very good feeling.

If you live around, pay a visit.

By Dssmith1839 |

Not a bad seat in the place. Close to all the action. Very high caliber of baseball and the kids put in 110%. Always a great time had by all when we go to a game.

By GPZachary |

My 2nd favorite minor league ballpark in the Great State! Very clean, very family friendly & nice concession options. My only complaint is the pricey parking . What are they doing with the money generated @$10 a car is beyond me, because it sure isn't for parking lot maintenance. Pot holes galore!

By Yoakum |

Fun atmosphere with lots of things to enjoy for the entire family. Great party patio for rent for companies/large parties. Very easy access and lots of parking right at the ballpark or nearby mall. Often, players from the big league club spend a few rehab starts at Dr Pepper Ballpark.

By Kimber H |

We have bought game packages (season tkts) to Rough Riders games for the last three years. Great family atmosphere and it is a lovely Park! Good BallPark food. Just a great time of baseball, family and sports entertainment.

By Crossonero9 |

Loved the size of the ballpark, fun environment with lots of kids activities. Food is priced at average prices so its a really good value. You can't go wrong with any seat in the ballpark. There is plenty of parking so that is not an issue. Loved it and most importantly, my family loved it.

By Tex1358 |

Greta place to go watch baseball and see some of the rising stars of the game. There isn't a bad seat and if there are empty seats, you can move down.

By elaine s |

This park is expansive and beautiful - reminds me of a MLB park. Everything is close and next door to the Embassy Suites Hotel and across the street from Stone Briar Centre. You can't help but have lots of fun at this pretty park.

By Sharie S |

The ladies of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International (DKG) of Texas enjoyed a buffet, ballgame, and fireworks at the beautiful Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco, TX! AND the home team, the Frisco Roughriders, won the game!

By williamgO4399HE |

Two part review ...First the park is a excellent little entertainment venue ! It has that feel of a vintage small baseball park with easy to enjoy features. Seats...all good, sit in the out field on a blanket - or the out field swimming pool. Easy to walk around test concessions - interesting food trucks - wide range of beverages....but here's a suggestion,,,,skip the long lines and find another vendor unless your clever enough to grab a drink first when you find yourself stuck in a too long of line for that food item. Park atmosphere is fun with a Six Flags like feel for entertainment value - so a good place for seeing events. Would recommend for group get together or family events. Patience may be a need with traffic as it is located North Dallas Tollway in Frisco. BOTTOMLINE - a good park for minor league sports events - recommended!
Now Part Two - the charity event host by Dirk of the Dallas Mavericks...it is great to see sports celebrities give sincerely time & good will to the community - this guy Dirk was great - the game was good....and allowing folks to come onto the field at the end of the game - and from the baseball diamond see a fireworks show....Thank you!

One of our favorite things to do in Frisco is to go watch the Roughriders play baseball. The whole facility is excellent. Whether you choose the outside seating or get to watch from a suite, you'll enjoy the family-friendly atmosphere, the great game and the food and drinks. They have sing-alongs, give-aways and contests for the fans that are lots of fun. They also have fireworks usually once a week on Friday or Saturday night. Check on-line for the schedule. They also have different family or group packages. There is a pool that you can book to swim while you watch the game for a big party and also a playground for the kids. Be sure to go look on-line at all the neat things this ballpark has to offer. Don't miss the great sculpture at the entrance to the park!

By Diane9756 |

Great venue! Has a relaxed hometown feel.

By Jim D |

Attended first game at Dr. Pepper Ballpark in Frisco. Was a great place to watch a minor league baseball game. Parking was super easy. The park is clean and well maintained. Lots of food choices to fit different budgets. Tickets to the game are cheap. Great value.

By Jon S |

Well priced. Most all the seats seem like good seats. Good baseball. Family friendly. It's an almost hidden gem in Frisco. Great for a family evening game.

By EEHenderson |

Awesome tone! The staff of the Rough Riders ate so nice and helpful! Wherever your seat is you have a perfect view odd the have which is usually great! Go on Friday for the fireworks!! They also sell craft beer which goes great with the Tessy Tockets which is all you can eat nachos, brawts, burgers, hotdogs, popcorn, chips and chicken! It's the best way to see a game!

By ladytexan2014 |

Dr. Pepper Ballpark, this premier park is the home of the Frisco Roughriders Baseball Club, the 2nd level team for the Texas Rangers. This baseball park is the most accessible park to the players with full vision seating wherever you are in the park.. On Friday Home games, they have an extravaganza of fireworks that would rival Disney World in Florida.

By SCUBA_Fletch |

Great ballpark - and every single seat is like the "best" seats at a pro baseball stadium. If you can, try not to sit out in right field in the summer - it gets pretty hot. But if you want, you can get tickets to the lazy river and cool off!

By dejanjuric01 |

We rented a suite at the ballpark. nice people. awesome ballpark. lazy river is cool.Staff was friendly and margaritas we delicious. I also bought some souvenirs (i.e. hats and a teddy for my little boy).

By 605Bsquared |

Didn't go for a game but a private party. Nice ballpark, not a Rangers fan but a baseball so I respect cool ballparks. Glad I got a chance to see it.

By John B |

want an up close and personel experence at the ball park you can find it here. Clean and well kept, at a reasonable cost with easy access to the highway what more can you ask for.
We always enjoy our times here

By Alison B |

Fun atmosphere. Lots of activities between innings. There's a kids playground area. A unique option at this park is a lazy river in the outfield.

By aaronmanzero |

Its a very clean neat ballpark looks very family friendly and has outdoor play areas for kids slides etc.

By Steven W |

Went to a couple of games here this summer. They do a great job. There are varieties of food and the fireworks show was spectacular. I would definately go again.

By V4715HVmaryk |

Fun family outing! Don't anguish over which seats to pick, they are all good because the park is small and laid out well! Lots of concession stands, restrooms, family bathrooms and attention paid to kids!

By DCayot603 |

I attended a conference in Frisco and they held a host night here. It was a great venue with a great atmosphere. If I was ever in the area again I would love to attend a ball game here.

By frisco521 |

If you are in the Frisco area during baseball season, be sure to check out the Frisco Rough Riders at the Dr. Pepper Ballpark. Not a bad seat in the house. The food is pretty good and plentiful.

By centexdad |

Attended Cavalia which was 6 stars out of 5. The ballpark, however, oversold parking. We prepaid parking, and ended up parking a mile away on a side street and almost being late. The show was amazing, but I won't return to the venue.
They sold out prepaid reserve parking?!?!?!? Awful

By EDubYa_1969 |

I'm a fan of baseball. Part of the excitement of watching a game are the amenities of the stadium. Dr. Pepper Ballpark is as nice a stadium you will ever visit. It was clean! There are plenty of concessions posts throughout the stadium which translates to little or no lines. The price was right too: beer, wine and sodas. It's minor league baseball with major league atmosphere. Did I mention it was CLEAN!

By Sue4LSU |

Went with a large neighborhood group. Lovely ballpark, great food vendors, comfortable seats. Wonderful for families!

By plantotx |

Dr. Pepper Ballpark, home of the Frisco Rough Riders baseball team is a very family friendly venue allowing for a great outing at a reasonable price. From suites, to box seats to outfield grass, seating options for everyone. Bullpens in the stands? You bet. Lazy river water park? You bet. Dollar friendly food options? You bet. Check out their specials on line and make this a family favorite for next season. Enjoy!

we don't frequent sporting events much, but this was fun for something different to do. The food and drinks were tasty and the entertainment is always good.

By LucyLoo87 |

Went to a game here and the seats were amazing. The atmosphere was so fun. We will be coming back in the future!

By CarolBTX |

Great stadium and everyone has great seats. Lots of ballpark food and fun times for even the youngest visitor.
You'll enjoy yourself and the Great American Pastime!

By Kevin S |

It's a well built smaller park with lots to do. I even caught a shirt from the ball girl! Get the cheapest ticket because outfield is always open and you can have a picnic out there with your kids.

By mikesD7469GU |

We went on the Fourth of July to see the game and the fireworks. Got there early for easy parking and stood for about 15 minutes for the gates to open at 6 pm. Very pretty ballpark with lots of concessions. Prices are normal for a ball game. You can save a bit of money by getting, before hand, the 4 ticket special which includes a meal and a souvenir plus entrance. these are good only on Sunday nights I think. Lots of other entertainment during the game. all the seats are good. Not necessary to buy expensive behind the plate seats. The only problem was getting out of the parking lot. it took 45 minutes to get out of the parking lot. Leave early if you can.

By Rebel Intel |

Dr. Pepper Ballpark is a great baseball park with great seating, parking, hotels, mall shopping, restaurants, and all sorts of other attractions very nearby. Seating and views of play on the field are good throughout. Concessions and restrooms are nearby and there's clubhouse and lazy river settings.

By FlowerMoundMom17 |

This is a wonderful ballpark with great deals. They host special event days that feature non-profit groups. The fist time we went we sat behind the visiting teams dugout. The seats were a little warm until the sun faded. The second time we purchased all you can eat seats. This is a great value- seats in the shade, unlimited hotdogs, peanuts, drinks, and potato chips. I love the new retro uniforms and Teddy Roosevelt mascot.

By JackieO |

State of the ART facility. Friendly staff and great seats every time we attend a game its fun and enjoyable!

By Rodney S |

See my review of the Frisco Roughriders, who as the AA affiliate of the Texas Rangers are the primary tenant of this ballpark. The stadium is very family-friendly, offering a "major-league" baseball experience for "minor-league" prices and a more down-home charm.
The stadium features great nightlines, an intimate seating bowl, bullpens that are more-or-less embedded within the seats down the lines, lawn seating for bargain-shoppers and families who would rather spread out a blanket and sit in the grass. There is also now a "Lazy River" pool party attraction -- not exactly for the baseball enthusiast but interesting and fairly unique.

By WILD12C |

Went on an outing with coworkers in the middle of the summer, stadium has well shaded seats and an awesome team to watch, when we went we got the tickets with all you can eat for an hour or two, and the food selection was good and tasty

By Steve A |

This is an interesting little ballpark, made more-so by the recent addition of a lazy river feature in right field. I like the feel of AA games. Where else would they "pass the boot" for donations when a player hits a home run. Make sure to check game times and choose your seats so that you'll be in the shade. It can get really hot in Frisco in the summer!

By Keith L |

One of my favorite mimpr leaque ballparks that i.ha e visited. great seats no matter where you are. great prices to get in the game.

By PonyMimi |

My dad had his 85th birthday this month and we had a family reunion to celebrate. We started by enjoying a ballgame by the Rough Riders. It was so pleasant. It was a great way to begin.

By victoriah611 |

This park is just too cute! There is no bad seat in the house, there's plenty of food choices and there is even a swimming pool section! We visited for the first time and the whole family had fun. We look forward to going to another game there soon.

By caron c |

Bought 2 tickets included seats, all you can eat and parking for 45 dollars. I thought it was a good deal until a group sat down in front of us and wouldn't sit for more than 5 min and then the popcorn started flying. After the 5 th inning I had enough and moved to some empty seats. Wished the ushers would have stopped the nonsense because it was really hard watching the game with that crap going in . I love baseball and since we moved last week, we have attended 2 games. It's a nice park with great perks. Try to stay off of the right field line-- lots of sun. Will be going back. Pretty park.

By 933jeremiahj |

The Dr. Pepper Ballpark is FUN and is a GREAT place for FAMILY FUN!! My family and I have visited the Dr. Pepper Ballpark numerous times for hockey games! The fun starts when you get inside... However get you walking shoes on for parking - you will be walking for awhile before you get inside!

By CraftBeers |

I've been to dozens of minor league baseball parks around the country, and I think this is my favorite. It was built in 2003 under the guidance of architect David M. Schwarz. His vision was a village with a ballpark in the center. That is a great description of this place. It's a series of light gray buildings with wrought iron fencing. The ticket windows look like store fronts. Past the entrance gates are decomposed granite trails with large trees and more grey buildings with white banister balconies that encircle the ballpark. It's a garden like atmosphere.

Past the garden-like trails are the concessions. You will find multiple types of food windows that sell Rudy's BBQ, Flashpoint Grille, Mayfield Ice cream, Smokies Sausage, and more. There is a Grab-n-Go which is an all-you-can-eat area if you purchase the food package with your tickets. The food is just average. I would say the hot dogs are kind of bad, but it's a baseball park. Beer options are the worst thing about this park. They only have Coors, Miller, and Blue Moon. There are a few more options available to founder members wearing green bands on their wrists.

Seating in the park is wonderful. There are a little over 10,000 seats. Everyone gets an individual seat. No benches!!!!! Every seat is close to the action, so I would say there is not a bad seat in the house.

On the right field wall, there is a lazy river for kids. It can be rented for large groups on non-game days. It's perfect for kids to enjoy. There are life guards on duty along with a bar and grille for the parents. Along the third base side, the bullpen is accessible to visitors. It's nice having such close access.

The park is one of the best around. As a facility and venue, it's five star for me. Parking and access outside the park are not a nightmare, which is highly unusual for most sports complexes.

By Brennan R |

This is a great venue for family and kids. There are so many things this park does to keep the kids entertained and they do such a great job. I highly recommend attending a game at this park. Go #roughriders

By dixond82 |

Great place to catch a ballgame. Polite friendly and helpful staff. Try the smokehouse barbecue stand and get the pulled pork nachos!! Awesome!

By Dustin Hinkle |

Well, it was close anyway....okay the ball came at us and veered off about 50 feet away but for a moment I was expecting impact based on everyones reaction as I took a bite of my nachos!

I had so much fun at the game! Great food choices and great family time with some occasional baseball watching. My boys ran off and played with a large group of young kids on the other side of the park doing God only knows. All left satisfied and exhausted from all the fun!

By Michael K |

A great venue who knows you have choices for your entertainment $$, and deliver. Wonderful, safe, atmosphere for families and couples. Innovative theme nights, and coming in June, a lazy river in right field! Can't wait for baseball season!

By Gregg T |

By Travellover6128 |

We had a great evening here watching the baseball. We were fortunate enough to be in a box and we were looked after extremely well. The facilities both in the box area and around the park, were excellent.
Loads of great seating, great atmosphere, very good prices and lots of food and drinks available. Very family friendly. Would definitely head back here again

By Daisyfam5 |

All good here! Nice facility! Went for high school hockey tournament, food & beverages are like anywhere else where sports are played & overpriced. Overall good though.

By ELIZABETH E |

great baseball, concerts, movies and the lazy river in the summer/// a wonderful place to relax//fun for the whole family

By nat1225 |

The ballpark is clean and it has a family type atmosphere. It does not have the feel of a big league ballpark. There is a lot of security so you can feel comfortable letting the kids go to the concession stand on their own (I would not do that at most sporting venues). Parking is easy and seating is designed so that it is easy to get to and from the seats. It is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon with the family.

By Ed P |

This park is an ideal Family friendly stadium. They have a lazy river so the kids can swim and tube during the game (with lifeguard). It's inexpensive. Food is not out of this word as far as price. Lots to keep you busy during game. Buy the cheap seats and move down after the game starts. If it's sunny, sit on the home side to be in the shade. If you have kids, sit near the 3rd base side as players congregate here before the game. If staying at Embassy Suites next to stadium, ask for the baseball suites that back to the park. Fireworks after every home game. If you want to sit in the grass, center-field has a great open spot to sit and take it all in, plus you could get a home run ball or two. Bring a blanket and sit there!

By Rhonda L |

We were in town for a soccer tournament and took in a game. Weather was great, the burgers were the bomb. Our kids enjoyed the fireworks after the game.

By Evan H |

Very well maintained facility. Fun graphics, entertainment and Mascot. Well lighted, clean, open with friendly staff.
The quality of the baseball played is excellent.
You can get close to the action, unlike MLB games.
Pretty easy for a kid to get a ball!
Recommended!

if you live in the metroplex or just driving through, seeing a game at the Dr Pepper Ballpark is a highlight. Its inexpensive, fun and relaxed all on a smaller scale that the Rangers park.

By tessrose322 |

I was surprised that the Ballpark food was delicious and filling. We had a catered dinner and the pulled chicken was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. We had a great time!

By Autumn M |

My son's baseball team went to a Rough Riders Baseball game and it is a wonderful place to go. It is very child oriented and friendly. The employee's are awesome, as well.

By Shelly J |

Such a beautiful ballpark with great atmosphere and plenty to keep the kids entertained even if they do not love to sit still watching baseball. The games move quickly and the fireworks on Fridays are totally worth the wait. We have been pleased with the selection of food (and beer) as well. There is a lazy river area available but it did appear to be more of an adult hangout.

By Ken M |

I attended a baseball game here and the park is a very comfortable facility with nice amenities. A great place for baseball fans to enjoy minor-league games.

By Jennifer H |

We were visiting from California and one of the things to do on my lifetime Baseball Bucketlist is to see a AA Minor League baseball game. I was so excited to see that the Frisco Roughriders were in town when we were visiting.

The weather had been cold in April when we arrived but it was absolutely perfect the night of the ball game. I was immediately charmed by Dr. Pepper Ballpark the moment we were welcomed so warmly by the lovely staff handing out programs and taking our tickets at the gate. This is such a different experience from going to a Major League game. Minor league ballparks are so much smaller, more intimate and have a great deal of character - this park is no exception.

We walked around for a half an hour before the game - checking out the awesome swimming pool that must be such a relief in the hot Texas summer, the bullpen where you can get up very close to watch the pitchers warmup and the small adorable gift shops throughout the park. This park is absolutely gorgeous from one end of it to the other.

We bought tickets behind the plate but we sat down the first base line for a little bit of the game and had a section all to ourselves. I told my son it was great foul ball territory and sure enough, not long after I said that, a ball was hit a few rows away but because we were the only people in the section, he got his first foul ball.

The fans at Dr. Pepper are so awesome and so welcoming. There is nothing on earth like hanging out with my two teenage boys at a beautiful Minor League park on a warm Spring night eating ice cream and watching the Frisco Roughriders play. I just became the coolest mom ever for taking them. This was a major highlight of our trip.

By Robert K |

We took our grandkids to a RoughRiders game this summer. the first game was a rain out due to torrential rains, thuner & lightning. We were able to exchange our tickets very easily for another game including our parking pass. The game we saw was very good. The grandkids loved it and even got to go out on the field and run the bases after the game. Dr. Pepper Ball Park is one of the best minor league parks that I have visited. I like going to minor league games in North Texas rather than the Rangers because it is much more fun to be up close to the action. And there is a lot of action in Double A.

By Robert B |

Great ballpark for the whole family. Not a bad seat in the house, unless you are in the direct sun on a hot day. Many different food choices at different price levels.

By DvilleDoc |

We've been to games at the stadium where the Texas Rangers play, but for family fun we prefer to watch the Frisco Rough Riders here in their cozy park. We're close to the action, there's lots going on between innings, and you're never more than a few steps from food--hot dogs and a Diet Dr. Pepper are our choice. The PA system can get a bit loud, but we've learned to bring ear plugs.

By Debbie H |

We have been Founders Members with the Roughriders for six years now and this place keeps getting better and better. Great atmosphere, fun, comfortable, always something going on. We are already ready for next season to begin. Go Riders!

By rachelleandjerry |

So much fun to see a Roughriders game. Tickets are cheap. If you go with a group you can get a good deal. Very family oriented

By Dan T |

Came here many times for my kids ice skating and circus. My kids routed every visit here.
Would recommend anyone to this safe facility.

By kevinshively60 |

Most people try to sit in the nice seats behind the dugouts because its so affordable but whats even more affordable is to take a blanket and sit in the outfield. Make a picnic out of it and who knows you might even catch a homerun! Meet new people! A family of 4 can easily do a day with the roughriders for 40 bucks.

By Jason S |

Dr. Pepper Ballpark is home of the Frisco RoughRiders of the Texas League. They are the AA affiliate of the Texas Rangers. The stadium has a great selection of concessions including some local food trucks. Between inning entertainment as well as promotional giveaways make for a great experience. Very affordable for a family on a budget.

By Hottone602 |

Fantastic!!!!!! Still raving about out recent experience! Great food, seats, can't wait till next season. Grat family outing!

By Anthony W |

this place is different it almost looks like a theme park from the outside. plenty of parking, and in texas they do everything big. fireworks and a huge led monitor it is like half the size of the one at at@t stadium. a great place to take the kids and have fun.

By diane g |

For $20, good price for game, good seats, souvenir, food, and soft drinks. Nice seats! Fun time. Parking is close. Lazy river now for those who want an even better time!

By katecrawley |

Hot in summer but a lot of fun! If you love baseball this is the place,. go Texas Rangers right off the Dallas Toll Way

By ByronCarrera |

This has got to be one of the most entertaining venues to go visit and watch some ball. Enjoyed the eateries, drinks and overall atmosphere of people having a good time. Company has season tickets and we get to enjoy this when they are not taking a client out.

By jlehmann |

We were at the ballpark for a work event. The company rented out the "party deck" with the lazy river in right field. Being able to watch a ballgame from the water just over the right field wall was a neat experience. The park seems to be well maintained and modern. I have no idea on pricing as everything was included on our trip.

If you plan to spend time in the lazy river, take your sunscreen. The only shade in that section in the afternoon/evening is patio umbrellas.

By dkgarea1coor |

Awesome family environment, good food, fair prices and fireworks on Friday are a blast worth staying for after a game

By TipperNC |

I really liked Dr. Pepper ballpark. Very quaint, Nantucket-ish feel architecturally, which I guess is out of place in TX but still, the park is really nice. Particularly for a AA ballpark. The video board is enormous and high-def, and they do the usual mid-inning shenanigans that minor league teams like to do. There were very few people there the night I went, maybe 1,000, so there were plenty of foul balls and souvenirs for everyone. Beer selection is solid and there is plenty of food variety as well. Parking was very easy. Tickets were a little on the expensive side for a AA game but you get what you pay for - a great atmosphere, plus I sat with my feet resting on the visitor's dugout. Overall, a great take-in and I will probably go to another game next week. Very family friendly, though dollar beer night might be a night to avoid.

By kielar |

Best experience in the minor league. Staff is great, location good, easy access, prices reasonable. Fun experience for few dollars.

By Perry F |

We've been making yearly trips to watch the Riders the last few years & always enjoy this very nice ballpark.

By Shezcarl5 |

We have season tickets to the RoughRiders games. We really enjoy our seats behind home plate, eating at The JC Penney Club, and watching the games. The staff, especially Dorothy, in the JC Penney Club, is friendly, helpful and remembers us when we come back every year. The stadium is easy to get to, has plenty of parking, and is very family oriented. They have a swimming pool area that can be rented for parties behind right field. There are two playgrounds that are age appropriate for the little ones to keep them occupied. The entertainment staff is very funny, with their contests, and especially Deuce and Daisy's various skits!

By ransom007 |

I have been to 81 different minor league ballparks and I like many of them, but this one is my favorite. When you approach it, it looks like you are coming upon a village of pretty two-story cottages. Inside you get that same feel. There is a swimming pool with a stream beyond right field. The two-story cottages have various businesses on the first floor and, I imagine, luxury boxes on the second floor. It is, simply, a delightful place to view a baseball game.

Living in a great, vibrant, and growing city like Frisco has been a positive experience for me, my wife and son. Growing up next to Veterans Stadium (" The Vet") in Philly spoiled me somewhat as we walked right up to the stadium from my neighborhood. I have taken a ride to Arlington to see the Rangers a new favorite team, but the experience of traffic, time and cost, drew me to Double A baseball at Dr. Pepper field.

In a nutshell, double A baseball at Dr. Pepper Stadium is a very worthy alternative.
- The competition at this level is pretty good.
- It is a very family friendly ballpark where the toddlers can play in the left field playground.
- A new, water venue in right center has the younger kids coming in a bathing suit.
- The food is pretty with lots of Texmex, beer and regular fare.
- The fans are respectful and being drunk is not cool at all. Plus, Texas police will leave you alone but can spot trouble a mile away.
- It's a safe place - parking is well lit.

So get there early and have fun at the old ball park...

We love this Ballpark. Watching baseball in the stadium is wonderful. Very family oriented. Employees of this ballpark seem to love their jobs.

By Sid2140 |

First trip to Dallas and having gone to many major and minor league stadiums, Dr. Pepper Ballpark is major league in every way but affiliation.

It is an awesome facility and there is no bad seat in the entire house. The food and beverage selection is first rate and the promotion packages are quite impressive. The stadium is relatively new and beautiful. This is the most impressive minor league facility I have seen and worthy of the Texas heritage.

By A Lawson H |

Unique by design makes the Dr Pepper Ball Park a beautiful place to take the family for a baseball game.

There are a series of white wood-like buildings that surround home plate to form a beautiful backdrop for the baseball field. Beautiful and unique.

By alefmzatx |

New and huge stadium in Frisco Texas. Nice place to visit and enjoy a nice football game, or a concert.

By shepchat2017 |

This is a nice stadium venue for all sorts of events. The seating is comfortable. Nice place to catch a Rough Riders game.

By Adnan G |

Finally a park that breaks some new ground in terms of stadium design. Frisco probably could have built a new park that is like any other new park built since 1995, but instead they built one that takes the best features from the standard ballpark template and enhanced it with several unique aspects. From the outside, the park looks like no other - there is no red brick to be found here. It is light gray in color and completely vinyl sided. A plaza area with a fountain is located behind center field. Inside, the structure of the park is made up of several buildings instead of one continuous grandstand. The structures down the line each hold luxury boxes on the second floor and concession stands on the ground level. Behind home plate, the structure contains a restaurant in addition to the press box and more luxury boxes. The buildings are set back fairly far making for wide and spacious concourses. The concourse wraps completely around the park and the field is visible from anywhere along it. The seating is made up of all green fold downs with no center concourse to split it up. This makes for good sightlines and seats close to the action. In addition, there is also berm seating available in the outfield.Lots of places to eat and lounge around with a lazy river and a swimming pool

By Photomedic430 |

My family lives baseball. Visiting family for the 4th we took in a game. Great ballpark. Not a bad seat in the house. Great food at a good price. After the game they had fireworks. They let you go on the field and watch. Well worth a stop.

By Randy B |

We visited the ball park on a Saturday night. Parking was easy, tickets were purchase online and waiting at will call. There is not a bad seat in the house. We sat two rows from the the first basemen. Great time had by everyone.

By Kitten1967 |

It was a nice place but the sitting is laid out wrong! The staff wasn't real friendly! The food and drinks were way to high!

By TXgrl55 |

This baseball field is very nice for a minor league team. Plenty of food options and the women's bathroom was blessedly cool - a relief when the weather was humid and hot. Parking was not much of an issue, was able to exit relatively quickly at the end of the game.

By Lisa G |

We LOVE the Dr Pepper Ballpark. 2015 was our second year for season ticket holders. Food is good, service is great, parking is easy and NOT a bad view in the house.

By Kentuxan |

Came here for a father son baseball game with my 7 year old. The park is laid out extremely well, and has a lot of fun activities and concessions.

A TIP: for evening games, try to get seats along the 3rd base line. The 1st base line gets a lot of evening sun, which can be oppressive on a summer night in Texas.

There are a lot of new food options there this season. And, the new look of the RoughRiders is a nice update. I'm still not that impressed with the hot dogs though.$7 for a hot dog and fries should get something better than what they delivered.

By RWMLongValley_NJ |

This AA ballpark that is home to the Frisco Roughriders is a place for an evening of fun. The park is well laid out with no bad seats. During a conference last week we planned an evening here. We reserved the right field bullpen area where had hot dogs, pulled pork & sausage sandwiches with baked beans and potato salad. There was an open bar with wine, beer, and soda. Oh, and the baseball game was also good!

By HumerousUserName |

......I've been to. Comfortable, new, and the food is classic ballpark food. Beer is a little pricey, but isn't it everywhere now??

By Michael M |

My family has spent the last 17 years (since 2000) traveling to Major League and Minor League ballparks. We've been to 24 MLB locales and 11 minor league parks. We've found the Minor League parks to often be more interesting than their "big brothers", but nothing prepared us for Dr. Pepper Ballpark. It's structure is unique among all the ballparks we've been to....the crowd is managed well (no real lines for ANYTHING)....the ballpark food is GREAT...and the atmosphere is great. The young man who took my ticket order over the phone (I had my tickets left at Will Call) actually looked me and my family up in the stands to ensure that our experience was satisfactory (a first!). The bathrooms had no lines (and were air-conditioned, a definite PLUS in Texas in July) You can watch the game while getting your food.... we didn't get in, but the "lazy river" beyond right field is a great way to stay cool during the game... Another neat thing: The bullpens were at spectator level on the third and first baselines. Only real negative from the entire experience is that the main scoreboard is along the left field wall....we were in section 105 on the third base line and could only see the score for innings after 3 on the scoreboard. The main video board, on the other hand (which could be readily seen), really wasn't used for the score. Nice fireworks show every Friday night. Parking was $10 and got you a spot very close to the park, and easy to get out of.

By Julio F |

I love bringing the whole family here. It's just like going to the Rangers game, but for a lot cheaper and unlimited hot dogs!

By Vikram V |

Been there multiple times for various events. Hallmark location in the heart of Frisco the sports town of DFW Metroplex.

By Adriane K |

I was here for the NAMI 5k walk. It was a nice venue - many sponsors had booths inside the park. We walked several laps around the park. I like the trees because the shade helped. There was plenty of parking and getting around was easy. I like that there's a playground inside for kids (ages 2 - 5). There were several bathrooms, which is a plus. I got to meet the Bull Moose mascot too. :)

By J H |

Great location and a lot of fun for all ages. Lawn seating is fun if no mobility issues, and park seating is clean and comfortable! Great way to get family and friends together for a reasonable price.

By Bob L |

We did a quick tour through the park. No games wehn we were there but we were struck by the availability of good eating and shopping across the parking lot. Easy in and out while we were there. Not certain how quickly it will empty after a game.

By Lackland B |

Great little ballpark. Good cheap food. Excellent seats close to the action. Plenty of parking. Great way to spend a summer evening.

By Michael M |

The ball park has the architectural style of a Churchill Downs. Very nostalgic with a small ball park feel of the fifties. Excellent food and selection of beverages. Good people!

By Greg J |

Each year we try and catch a game on our yearly trip to Frisco. The stadium has a great layout that keeps you close to the field.

By tracy l |

We have been going every year since it opened in 2003. The games are easy to get in and from which to depart. All levels of food packages. Easy on the budget, long on the entertainment, and ballpark has a cozy and safe feeling for those with youngsters. Also, the ballplayers are approachable and affable before the games.

By grekgodes |

All the people so ready to answer questions with a good attitude, how lovely! Bathrooms close and clean very reassuring. Parking safe and again close works for us.

By Jon S |

This is the best place to see professional baseball. The stadium is clean, well design, intimate with no bad seats. And a good value for the family.

By Edward M |

Don't hassle the trying to get to Arlington, the Frisco Roughriders provide a great alternative. Close to action, plenty of great concessions.

By Vinny_Vegaz |

Baseball, hot dogs, peanuts, beverages. All great. Make it a must do. Pick a shady spot or a cool day if in sun. Heck, rent the pool ;)

By Howard R |

There's something for everyone at this ball park. It's a great spot to the kids while you're on vacation in Frisco. On a business trip....take in a game at the ball park! Great food, reasonably priced drinks, and very entertaining.

By almad762 |

Tasty food & great environment for convention participants. Ballpark was walking distance from hotel.

By James F |

Nice suburban minor league ball park that is very family friendly. Not a bad seat in the stadium. Many food options; recommend The Butcher's Son food truck.

By colesmom6694 |

I love the set up there. They even have a lazy river pool that you can sit in and watch the game. Top notch ball field.

By jamespcol |

This is a great family outing. Affordable, fun, convenient. AA Minor League baseball is great entertainment. And this Ballpark is a great venue.

By jjanecek |

We went to Roughrider game and had a good experience. Food was good and they did a good job keeping kids interested.

By CVCVws |

Inexpensive beautiful stadium with great food. You get up close look at the players, games and play structures for kids and all around good fun.

By X164YVjosephs |

This is a stadium that hosts a double A baseball team; the Rough Riders. It's a great place to relax, eat, drink, and take in a ball game. It's easy to get in and out of, and there are no bad seats! They have many promotions, and there are many places to go enjoy yourself after the game.

By fht |

We visited the ball park with some friends for a birthday party. It was our first time there. It was so much fun! There is a small playground for the younger kids (school aged), an activity area for the older ones, and signing area where a few of the players give autographs. The food is pretty good and they announce specials throughout the innings. It is a small park that makes it intimate. The coach, I hear, is always exciting to watch. We felt very safe and everyone there was there to have a good family time. It is not like going to watch the Texas Rangers, but it is definitely an great experience. Not to mention that after or before the game there is a lot to see and do in Frisco. Great family adventure!

By Kimberly H |

Incredible ballpark! A. It has Dr. Pepper in the name and B. It has a lazy river! Also, home of the Frisco Rough Riders, the AA affiliate of the Texas Rangers! This is by far one of my favorite minor league fields and I've seen a ton! Great lay out, concourse set up is nice and easily accessible, so many food and drink options, a play area for kids, and did I mention a lazy river! If in the Dallas/Frisco area highly recommend catching a game!

By Jay Guzman |

I’ve been to a lot of minor league parks, but this one is among the best. Great hospitality, great views to cheer on the Roughriders and they even have a pool in right field so good for taking the children/family. The food is affordable and tickets are fairly priced. Been here 3 times and have always had a blast.

By Murray S |

This is a great place to take your family to see a minor league game. Everything about the experience you will find fun.

By EmmaG08 |

We went as a group to this ballpark and were amazed at the things to do, great seating and food/ drinks!

By Padillalawyer |

I like this ballpark better than the Washington Nationals Major League park. It feels really homey, and has everything a major park has, but none of the big headaches of huge parking lots with mile-long walks.

It was a great time for kids. Highly recommended. This is how watching a baseball game should be.

By BaylorBearAlum09 |

Dr Pepper Ballpark is a great venue. It's small enough that every seat is a good seat, but big enough to seem like a legitimate minor league stadium. The food is good and there is a lot of entertainment for kids at RoughRiders games.

By DallasRdWarrior |

The circus tents were in the parking lot really but the show was absolutely amazing. Our family really enjoyed it. If you love Circue du soleil type shows then this one is a must. And if you love horses it is also a must because they combine the two into a wonderful show with great music and singing albeit in another language. I can't say enough about this show and the VIP area was nice. The food was just ok but it was nice getting the tour of the horses after the show and having a place to go during intermission for desserts which were great and much better than the lunch that was served earlier. Get there early for the VIP as the tables all get packed and there weren't enough for the people that bought into it to even sit down to eat before the show. Really loved the show.

By John S |

Very nice stadium. All the seats are great parking is very close.
Very good variety of food.
Good entertainment and a chance to see future big league

By Kenreich |

Everything was nice but elevator was broken several time and it affected me greatly cuz I'm handicap and first floor was full and can't park 2nd floor or up cuz elevator was broken.

By Deguida |

I'd give this park a five except that my seat was in the sun and it is fairly expensive for a minor league ball park. The field and the seating are beautiful. There are plenty of food stands. The stand I bought my pretzel and iced coffee from got my order wrong twice before finally giving me the correct items. The activities between innings are fun and the announcers are adequate. Would I go back? In a second. I love baseball and this is one lovely park.

By kellyedv |

You should take your kids to Dr Pepper ballpark to see the Frisco Roughriders. Kids can get close to the field and may even be able to snag an autograph or two.

By Cogent_Thoughts |

See tomorrow's baseball stars today! Plus, Big League players working their way back. Currently Josh Hamilton on his return to the Rangers organization. Close to the action. Better prices and convenience.

By Matthew B |

Any seat in the house is a good seats and the outfield grass seats are cheap. Don't forget about the pool pass for parties and general fun. My preference is to buy founders tickets which include premium food and great seats. Typical ball park food with typical overprice. Food trucks in back offer a nice variable to concession stands. Fun time for the entire family and watch for fun promotions. I will be back every year.

By antlers2010 |

This was our first time at Dr. Pepper Ballpark and very impressed with the set up. We enjoyed the ease of getting into ballpark, staff very friendly and willing to direct you where to go. There really isn't a bad seat, tickets affordable, food and beverage prices are within reason. Clean facilities. Plan on attending more games next season. Kids enjoyed game over a Rangers so made the wallet happy!

By LTrainer77 |

I just love going to the ballpark in Frisco. It's a great place for families. Not a bad seat in the house! A great outing and tickets are reasonable. The "all you can eat" tickets for $15 get you some typical ballpark fare that the kids will enjoy, plus seats. Certainly a good value - cheaper than taking the family to the movies.

By bdan1947 |

Small ballpark but very intimate. You are very close to the players and all the staff has one thing on their minds-make you happy.

By Rickyellis |

Great place for a summer evening, very helpful attendants, great food choices and some exciting baseball! Going back soon,

By BrussoDallas |

This is a great little ball park, we've been to special events here & to RoughRiders games. It's a nice place to take your family & not break the bank.

By Tamilyn1 |

Great venue for families. Not a bad seat in the whole place. Food and drink price are reasonable. Kids area has free games and playground area, as well as blow up slides. Kids fun day on Sunday.

By Momma S |

Spent 2 days at the #send2017 conference. We met at the conference center adjacent to the Dr. Pepper arena. There's plenty to do nearby and within walking distance. Very convenient for a business and leisure trip combined into one!

By fireflyadt |

We love our Frisco Rough Riders. This facility and staff make it so fun to see a game. Lots going on all the time. A playground for kids. A lazy river! Great ball food - good selections of drinks. Always a fun activity going on between innings. Fun for any age!

By Cristy R |

Fun for the family!! We enjoyed the venue. Lots of fun. A little hard to be attentive to game with all of the kids playing. Only criticism.

By Lorainebabygirl |

This is a nice venue to watch Minor League Baseball! There is a lot to do in around the area, not just to the Baseball Game! Floating River is great place to stay cool & watch the baseball on those Hot Summer Days!

By Oc3anM0m |

Great interactive family experience. The stadium is awesome but not so big that you can't see. Reasonable tickets as well. Skip the expensive hotels nearby and try out an Airbnb on the Lake Lewisville side of Frisco away from the hustle and bustle while you enjoy fishing, water sports, hiking etc. There is an Airbnb listing with "1600 sq ft" in the title and it accommodates up to 6 people and is cheap!. Highly recommended!

By PLcoppell |

We watched a AAA baseball game from a suite that was provided by the Dallas Morning News as part of its PLUGGED-IN sponsored events fro its subscribers. The ballpark is a great place to bring a family and enjoy all the activities provided by the team before, during, and after the game.

By bprsurf |

Safe Clean Family friendly ballpark that is well maintained. Food was not bad and if you pre-buy you can get a wristband for big food savings. Views are good pretty much everywhere and service was good. You do have to pay for parking.

By 4Barry |

We love attending the Rough Rider games as it is closer to home than the Texas Rangers and it allows us to see great players play baseball. We usually have suite tickets, but we have sat in the stands before and still have a great time. The service in the suites is unbelievable! They are so nice and if you need something they are there to please. The dessert cart is awesome! The JCPenny restaurant is unbelievable as well. The food is great and the view is awesome. The new beer taps are way too cool. The beer fills the cup from the bottom of the cup. Never saw that before. :) We have never had a bad experience at the ballpark!

By mike w |

When we travel, we like going to minor league games, This park is one of the most unique we've seen. There is a fair/carnival atmosphere on the left field side of the park with things to do for the young'uns. Food and drink prices were reasonable, not sure if it was because it was fan appreciation night. The $10 tickets were in line with most of the parks we visit. We lucked out and received free tickets while waiting to purchase tickets at the window, thank you nice lady. Paying for parking, $10-ouch, always brings disappointment, this was the only notch against the park. Beautiful atmosphere.

By JCWebb54 |

Excellent venue for any event, not a bad seat in ballpark. I do recommend sitting on Third Base side during summer months for more shade.

By Yesthis |

Beautiful stadium and family friendly. Great way to get up close to the game. Not a bad seat in the stadium. Playground for kids, pool and lazy river. Great food and decent prices!

By whereverimayroamblog |

I atended a Rough Riders game and was just mad about how freaking adorable this ballpark is. Being a president fan, I loved the Rough Rider's log (hey Teddy!) and the park has everything you could want at a baseball game. We were in a suite that had comfy seating, tasty snacks, and then an ice cream cart appeared at the door! How cool! The design of the Dr. Pepper Ballpark is the best minor league park I've ever visited. Don't skip the fireworks...they are really great and worth hanging around for.

By wft123 |

Very nice and clean facility. Many workers stationed throughout the ballpark if you have a question. Nice food selections. Suites are available for rentals. There is also a swimming pool behind the outfield one can rent for a private party as you watch the game while swimming in the pool. I would recommend an evening game as day games get extremely warm and not much shade to hide out in. There is a parking fee also. Great guys trip idea or baseball team outing. Sometimes Canes restaurant partners with the ballpark for a package deal!!

By Donald P |

Sat behind home base on a hot evening. It was shady and nice. Plenty of food places. Enjoyed the fireworks; however, think parking lot 'B' could see more of it.

By Love-bob |

The Frisco Rough Riders are the best.
Super AA team for the Texas Rangers, so you get to see the All Star's before they get to the big league.

The ticket prices are a deal. And they have super family deals and they have a deal with Kroger for an outfield seat, dog, and a hat.

The food at the park is reasonable for ballpark food, and if you get a seat deal with food go for it. This means you can drink as much non alcoholic beverages as you want, eat all the dogs, burgers, chips, nachos, etc. that you want or need, and still get a great seat to watch the game.

Tip - Buy a season ticket - you can buy a 1/4 season 18 game ticket that will include basic ballpark food for around $20 a game. This breaks out to $10 for the seat and $10 for all the food / drink you want. Now if you want another deal - go for Founders Seats - all the beer you want, and the food is a step up from the regular ballpark food.

The entertainment value is super with lots of small events during the game for the kids. And if you need a hat or a ball - just keep your eye on the bat and it will be coming your way.

By noblehousecatering |

What a great outing. Park is laid out well and easy to get around. Everyone is nice. Take a glove cause there are a lot of foul balls. Food is a little high, but what park isn't. Parking is very easy. Look at their web page for specials.

My daughter's PIP (Players in Progress) performed at a Legends basketball game. This was our first visit the Dr. Pepper Arena. It was really nice, very well kept facility.

By Beejae H |

Love going to the Rider's Games. Concessions are priced economically priced. Even more so if you purchase Founders seating or Teddy's seating, food is included, all you want.Founders has a wonderful buffet, all you can eat. There is to a bad seat in the house. Children have a playground and you feel safe. Great family fun. Super bathroom facility. Good business outing.

By Quincey N |

I have attended hundreds of minor league games and I would have to say my visit at Dr Pepper Ballpark was one of my best experiences. The layout of the field is good. The food and souvenirs are inexpensive by ball park standards. All the staff and vendors were friendly. My only suggestion would be don't sit in right field corner. Sun seemed brutal for 7:00 game

By Ryan K |

The Roughriders games at Dr Pepper Ballpark are very fun to go to for the whole family. The food is pretty good but it's stadium food. It's fun to watch!

By BS |

The ballpark is a throw back to the good old days of baseball. There is not a bad seat in the house and the pries are dirt cheap. There are lots of food choices and the baseball is not bad either.

By Tirzah D |

This place is very cute. They have a lazy river you can float to help keep cool! I was there in one of the suites for work. The food they provided in there wasn't great but I didn't purchase any food from the vendors so I'm not sure how it compares. We got there late and no one was taking payment for parking. It's also a smaller place so anywhere you sit you babe decent seats!

By David V |

We've seen over 20 Rough Riders games and always had a great time. The players love the fans and are very accessible for autographs and pics. The park has a wonderful family atmosphere.

By Nicole W |

My family attended a game here and had a really good time. It's very family friendly. In between the innings, they have different activities & fun stuff going on.

By Phil S |

Baseball, hotdogs, and a Suite view! Attended a game to watch the RoughRiders play and was very impressed with the overall experience. Had the opportunity to host an outing in a suite at the ballpark with great food, tremendous service, and a winning result. They gave me a tour of the conference meeting venues for business events. I will be certain to return.

By turquoise43 |

Who would think a minor league ball park could be so much fun? I didn't. Not only is the architecture unlike any ball park I have ever seen, but there is a great playground for the kids, the food is great and there were a couple of food trucks there, too. Parking is easy and close enough for an easy stroll. All the seats are pretty good and they work hard to entertain you.
