Beautiful winery with an excellent variety of great tasting wines

By Kcso1394 |

My wife and I visited Healdsburg area for several days of wine tasting, Dry Creek Vineyard was one of our favorites in large part due to the great tasting room staff! Our host started us on the tasting menu but went well off that with several different wines that he correctly intuited that we would enjoy. We ended up joining the wine club and will look forward to many years of their delicious wines and future visits to the winery itself!

Don't miss Dry Creek Vineyard!

By Mike M |

We have been members of the wine club for a number of years, and always drive up to pick up our wine, as we love the Dry Creek area, and Dry Creek Vineyard is our favorite winery. The garden is beautiful and the staff are great! No matter the season or the weather, a trip to this winery is highly recommended.

Family Friendly to Show off Dry Creek Valley to SoCal Friends

By mommyswater |

We had such a nice time relaxing and catching up with our out of town friends. We grabbed lunch from Dry Creek General Store and a couple of bottles of wine from the Tasting Room as we enjoyed the lowkey Sonoma County atmosphere Dry Creek Vineyard has to offer. The dads played cornhole with the kiddos as the moms chit chatted at the picnic table. Perfect afternoon!

Wine Tasting in a lovely garden

By Woodee65 |

We stopped here with friends on our way back from a northern CA wedding. The vineyard is beautiful. Out tasting was in the garden, filled with gorgeous landscaping and roses.

We arrived before the rest of our groups but we were given a few tastings to start. Our server explained every wine, with plenty of interesting facts about the vineyard.

Dry Creek arranged a box lunch for us all. The sandwiches were huge and delicious!

I would definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Ultimate Wine Tasting

By jonimna |

We had an amazing tasting experience at Dry Creek Vineyard. It was a picture perfect day as we sat in the beautiful garden area. Bernie oversaw the lovely wines we experienced and was especially delightful in answering all the questions we had. We tasted a variety of selections and I especially enjoyed the Zinfandels and Cabernets, so much so that I am proud to say I am now a Dry Creek Vineyard Club Member. A friend of mine in the wine industry recommended and scheduled this visit for us. It was an exceptional tasting experience!

Dry Creek Vinyard Experience

By stevencI1115DD |

They had a Garden Party for members and guests. Right away they welcomed us like family. Every time I can visit the staff are always warm, knowledgeable, and great. The wines are superb. Membership is fantastic. When I get my shipment it’s like Christmas. Love their wines and everything about them.

Fantastic staff with a spectrum of quality wines

By Ian C |

We've been wine club members for years and the interaction with the staff at Dry Creek Vineyard is always pleasurable. We may visit some wineries to taste a particular varietal but I appreciate that DCV array of offerings are enjoyable. The grounds are nice and often there are groups enjoying the outdoors while sipping on wine. DCV is just a great balance of people, wine, and environment while visiting this area.

Still the best!

We've been telling our friends about Dry Creek Vineyard wines for many years. Invited close friends for a visit and tasting (and our club pickup). They loved it! We still love it! Perfect weather! Beautiful winery! And delicious wines.

Great as Ever!

By GoCalbeatSanford |

Dry Creek Vineyard was one of our mandatory stops when we often visited the North Sonoma wineries in the late 90's. It has been over 15 years since we last visited North Sonoma. As in the past, our first stop was Dry Creek Vineyard. The Winery and grounds are more beautiful than ever; taller trees, mature bushes, and lots of flowers.
But, before you leave Dry Creek Road stop at the Dry Creek General Store, and buy your picnic lunch items. Then, turn onto Lambert Bridge Road (just across the road), and just a minute up Lambet Bridge Road (on the left) turn into Dry Creek Vineyard. Walk into the Wine Room and ENJOY. The staff is wonderful, many have worked there for many years. They will take you on an informative tour of the outstanding wines produced at Dry Creek. The hard part will be picking just one wine to accompany with your picnic lunch.

Great wines in a beautiful setting

By Jim B |

We have not visited Dry Creek for several years, and this trip was as good as previous ones.

Jack treated us well and presented several wines to us to taste. Overall a great experience.

Outstanding Tasting Room

By captskw1 |

My wife and I had been visiting some long-time friends in the North Bay and they recommended we visit the Dry Creek Vineyard's tasting room. Their recommendation was excellent.

Karen, our hostess/pourer at the Dry Creek tasting room was wonderful and an excellent ambassador for the vineyard. She knew the wines very well and was very conversant of the region. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the wines, since neither of us was familiar with Dry Creek winery and didn't recall seeing the label in stores in our home town (Bend, Oregon). We asked Karen for a lunch recommendation in Healdsburg and she recommended an outstanding tapas restaurant. Before leaving Dry Creek Vineyard we elected to become Club Members and our timing was perfect. Our first shipment arrived four days after we returned home. That's customer service!

Dry Creek Vineyard weekend wine tasting

By Explorer111264 |

The beautiful scenery and peaceful atmosphere at Dry Creek Vineyard make it a perfect place to unwind and relax. I have been a member of this vineyard for over 3 years now, and I have always been impressed with the knowledgeable and friendly staff, as well as the consistently high quality of their wines. Whether I have a lot of time to spare or just a quick visit, I always leave feeling satisfied and happy.

Superb experience!

We visited last week and had a wonderful time! It is a beautiful winery and the tasting room staff was awesome! Very knowledgeable and were so gracious to accommodate our group of seven without a reservation. Not to mention that their wines are fabulous! We would highly recommend visiting!

Thanks Paige and Dry Creek!

Paige was amazing! Her knowledge and positive attitude was awesome. Great wines and she made our experience fantastic.

Fantastic wine experience and beautiful venue!

By K-K |

Fantastic wine tasting experience! Knowledgeable and fun! Be sure to set aside time at the end to enjoy a bottle at the great picnic tables on the lawn. Bring sandwiches from the famous grocery store right down the road! Love the history of the family who still own/operate!

Our Time together

By Mauro1990 |

We went to the Barrel Tasting Event for wine club members. This was a wonderful experience like always. The wines from the barrels are totally different from when it’s put in bottles due too aging and releasing.
Great event, including the photo booth and the AMAZING Venezuelan food truck—Pelon Kitchen. They were serving Arepas!!! Fantastic food and vendor. I hope you have this vendor again for future events. Thank you to the team of Dry Creek Vineyard for their professionalism.

Make Your Own Meritage

By mrserin517 |

Our trip to Dry Creek Vinyard was the highlight of our vacation! Darren was an excellent host and instructor as we blended our own Meritage! It was fun, informative and the wines were spectacular! I joined the wine club!

Chenin Blanc!

By PatnRich |

We always come here for the chenin blanc, a varietal that's somewhat hard to find. Especially enjoyed it with our tasting room associate who was very friendly and knowledgeable. Nice grounds too for a picnic.

Great vineyard with great service

By Nel J |

Our host was fantastic and we were a group of six andshe was able to mix and match and allowed us to try a bunch of different wines without feeling rushed or like we were a nuisance. Chardonnay was ++++++!

Wine tasting and purchase of favorite selections

By Charles N |

A Noon time visit on Tuesday July 31. Few in tasting room. So, we got all the time and assistance we wanted, all most positive.
Amanda assisted us in the tasting room. Excellent product knowledge and most helpful in telling us what we can expect and what to look for in the wines we thought we would like. We live in Napa and recently joined the Wine Club, but have not yet tasted the full range of wines offered by the winery.
Wines we really liked were the 2017 Fume' Blanc (Sauvignon Blanc), exceptional value, and the 2014 Old Vine Zinfandel; and, we purchased both, plus got a special deal for $1 shipping of a case of Zinfandel to a worthy out of state family member.
Upon arrival, I used the toilet facilities, beautifully designed and decorated, very clean and fully stocked. Good start! Great tasting room, with a historical timeline of the family winery and wine product info. and displays.
After tasting, we walked through the garden next to where we parked, excellent signage, with plant ID and other info. - well worth visiting.
Have never toured the winery, but would like to another time. Nice grounds and picnic area, with food items available in the tasting room.

Make this tasting spot a priority

By DeeAnn M |

There are so many great wineries in the Dry Creek area but this one is a stand out! The wines here are very good - across the board with both white and red varieties. This is a quality winery. The tasting room is comfortable and tasting fee is reasonable. Wine bottle pricing is fair and no high pressure club selling. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Location is easy to find. Really a good choice for tasting wine in this area.

Best experience in the valleys

By Hunter Y |

Nick was by far the best wine educator we met at any winery we visited. Plus the zinfandel doesn't get any better than Dry Creek. Thank you for a great visit!

Make this a must stop

By Mary M |

This is a must stop! They have phenomenal zins and cabs in all price ranges. The food pairings were excellent. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. An overall wonderful experience

Friendly and accessible

By D g |

This is a great place to pick up a special bottle to celebrate or for a Friday night dinner. You can't go wrong with a bottle from the cellar .. trust the staff- they know their wines!

First time visitors

By gtsilva |

Last weekend we ended up at Dry Creek from a referral by another winery. Even though it was really busy when we arrived at Dry Creek, Robert was very attentive and welcomed us pretty quickly. We had a party of 6 and he kept a good pace pouring for us. He gave us a lot of history about the winery, the wines and had a great sense of humor. Enjoyed the wines and our visit, will be back again.

Dry Creek Vineyard is a MUST STOP & Taste!

By reidsters |

Wow, Darren Abel, our Dry Creek Vineyard Somm/Rep was just amazing! He was super nice, articulated the wines perfectly and gave my wife and our group a tasting and education on the wines that we will never forget, thanks so much for making out tasting one to never forget! Such a great place, highly recommend a cellar tasting.

Sonoma Valley Wine Tasting Trip

By William S |

We visited a few wineries while travelling around the Sonoma Valley area. All of them were very nice and and had plenty of wine to sample - for a fee.

We enjoyed the wine at Dry Creek Vineyard and the person who served us during our taste testing was very friendly and knowledgeable. We did purchase a few bottles (2 white and one red) of wine.

The winery has a great setting and the wines are excellent

By Mark Hobbs |

Winery is set with beautiful vineyards surrounding the main tasting room with nice outdoor tasting area. We tasted inside and enjoyed the wines so much that we became members.

We had a seated tasting with Darren and he was a delight! We will definitely be back next time we visit. He was very knowledgeable and provided such a fun tasting experience. The wine was great and we hope to be back next time we are in town.

Member since ‘98. This is what Sonoma wines

By Seemore |

Whether you are new to wine tasting or a veteran, you will find consistently memorable wines at reasonable prices. Dry Creek winery has never wavered from these two objectives to define unpretentious quality. Neither the tasting room nor the grounds is trying to transport you to Europe or impress you with celebrity status. You just enjoy quiet Sonoma beauty.

Still family owned and operated, you are always treated as family.

Beautiful property

By maritzabruno |

Before stopping to try to wines stop across the street and grab yourself a sandwich from dry Creek General store.
Asked to have your wine tasting outside weather permitting it’s a beautiful place.
there winds are really good I’m very reasonable becoming a member it’s a great choice!!

Dry Creek Stands Out

By MalcolmandSirius |

Along Dry Creek Road you will find many good wineries, but Dry Creek stands out in three major areas. First, the wine is great. Both whites and reds. If you are serious Zin lover, you will not be disappointed. We live in Virginia and joined their wine club to continue to receive their wines year round. Second, they are family owned and most of their wines come from properties they own and have developed over many years. Third, pride. Drop by their beautiful testing room and talk to the servers. They are not selling you. They are sharing with you.

This visit was not me see review

This visit was not me. Again I think there is another Bonnoront who lives in the bay area, I believe his first name is Greg ? who you are always mixing up with me

Beautiful vineyard with nice wines

By Annelie J |

We brought a picnic that we enjoyed on the beautiful grounds before our tasting. They have blankets you can borrow in the store. The tasting took place in the cellar which created a very unique tasting experience. We were so impressed with the reds that we ended up joining the wine club.

Perfect two hours at Dry Creek Vineyard in Heldsburg

By JLCCalifornia |

First getaway after COVID so my friend and I were looking for a quiet place to taste some wine and catch up. Dry Creek was a perfect choice. Ten minutes from downtown so easy to find. Paige was a great hostess; knowledgeable and fun. She also gave us recs for dinner with a little local color about their history. I don’t really drink red wine so she added more white for me during the tasting. Picture sitting under a big tree, on a lovely lawn with a beautiful flower garden tasting some very good wines and enjoying chatting in person! There are hundreds of wineries in the area—this is a good choice. Make reservations. Tasting fee but waived with purchase, and you will want to buy at least a bottle!

Popular spot

By FrequentFlyre |

It was very busy here, even in the off season, and the tasting felt a bit rushed, but we did manage a good take-away, by finding a wine readily available in our home town. All of the wines were enjoyable, from crisp white Chenin Blanc through the whites and into the reds, but the starter Chenin was the gem we took from this stop.

Amazing day in Healdsburg

Paige served us beautiful wine with friendliness and smiles
The winery is one of my favorites as I am a member of Dry Creek Winery

Excellent Wine Tasting Experience!

By speedtravels |

being local to the area I have had the pleasure of visiting so many lovey wineries, DCV is a great spot. Very nice grounds, friendly knowledgeable staff and wonderful wines! A must stop when in the Dry Creek Valley.

Wine Tasting

By Mery C |

We visited this winery with my cousins and it did not disappoint! They were extremely nice and the wine was really good. I took a bottle home from this winery!

I love Dry Creek!

By Gina |

I love wine tasting and do it often. I think wine is beautiful and appreciate the experience of tasting another persons' craft. At Dry Creek, not only are they so proud of what they do, they treat you like family no matter if you are a member or not. I had multiple AMAZING experiences here (between the wine, the staff, picnicking on the grounds etc) that I became a member and in 3+ years have never regretted it and expect to continue to be a member. Highly recommend a visit!

Relaxing Atmosphere

By Erin Y |

I love Dry Creek Vineyards. They have great wines with a relaxing outdoor space perfect for tasting and picnicking. Ian showed our group a wonderful time.

Beautiful Family owned vineyard

By Kathy S |

I have had Dry Creek wines before but I was blown away by this beautiful vineyard. We arrived without a reservation before noon, luckily, and were warmly greeted. We were seated outdoors under lovely shade trees and the tasting began with a wonderful Sauvignon Blanc, one of my favorite white wines. That was followed by several Zinfandels.
It was a relaxing afternoon in a perfect setting. I bought two bottles of Taylor’s Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc, a dry, light summer wine.

A Must Do In Healdsburg!

By jmlark |

We booked a private tasting and picnic...the atmosphere, wine, food, service were top notch! Very Beautiful...would definitely return!

Recent visit at Dry Creek Vineyards

By David H |

I work in the Industry at Amista Vineyards which shares the property line with Dry Creek. My partner is more inclined to grab a bottle of white and myself I lean more to the reds.
The winemaker Tim Bell dies and outstanding job with both and is incredibly skilled when it comes to blending.
I know the wines fairly well at Dry Creek and refer a great number of people who are looking for whites as we only have one white still we specialize in sparkling wine and Rhône’s.
We tasted with Kevin as our host, he was extremely knowledgeable about the wine, the various vineyards they source grapes from as well as the history of the property and the owners, which made the experience all the better.
Without a doubt I will return and continue to support Dry Creek Vineyards with referrals as well as family and friends. Truly a great pick in DCV and feel free to visit Amista if you’re looking for great sparkling wines and lovely stills, feel free to ask for a referral card and enjoy a two for one tasting.

Perfect setting with great wines and a knowledgeable host

By CWRG |

Last Monday we went for lunch and wine tasting at Dry Creek Vineyard and it was absolutely PERFECT!
Josh was an excellent and knowledgeable host, with a good understanding of the Vineyard, the different mixtures of wines and a comprehensive understanding of the processes, the ecology and the sustainability programs.

Good experience

By Lisa M |

We like their wines, especially the Zin. Nick was professional, knowledgeable, personable and he went to college in Oregon 😀 The fume Blanc was a surprise-really nice wine.
I’ve had this apron for a really long time, time for a new one.

Holiday Time in the Cellar

By Aurora |

Every year, DCV lights up the cellar (and warms it too) for a holiday party for wine club members. We gather in the tasting room for wonderful appetizers (and of course, DCV wines), greet old friends, meet new ones before entering the magical cellars, transformed by candlelight sparkling on an amazing array of wine glasses. Dinner proceeds course by wonderful course each paired with an amazing wine. This year, the Marioness (a new white that you have to taste to believe) and the 5 Barrel Cuvee is drinking well! The 2006 late harvest Zinfandel is always a delightful surprise as not every year is a late harvset year. Join the club - enjoy DCV in each of the marvelous wine country seasons!

Service and wines were great.

By Sightseer66251850748 |

The afternoon was great but we sat inside looking at the courtyard. Our server was knowledgeable about the wines and told us about each wine. It was a marvelous time.

Dry Creek Valley's Best

By skayjaret |

Tasting at Dry Creek Vineyards is always pleasant. To begin, the grounds are visually inviting, the wines are palate pleasing, and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, and, remembers who you are on return visits. The wine club has several levels, and you will not be disappointed whichever level you choose. Oh, did I mention the great parties and events that the winery hosts? There are several events each season and you can taste year-round. This is a sustainable practices winery looking to maximize Mother Earth while producing mouth-watering varietals.

Great experience!

By itsxjackie |

Great service! Their Zinfandel was good and they have many varieties. We really like the petit Syrah which we walked away with a bottle! The wine tasting was $15 and complimentary if you buy a bottle!

Good wines in a nice setting

By john m |

Enjoyed the wine tasting and box lunches with another couple. The lunches were very tasty and fresh. The outdoor seating is very spread out, so you almost feel like you are by yourselves, and very pleasant setting. The wine is very good, you are given lots of time between tastings to enjoy the wine, have conversations etc. The employees are very knowledgeable and accommodating, if you want to substitute more whites, or reds, than are on the original tasting menu.

Fantastic Wine and Friendly Staff

By Nicole K |

My husband and I stopped in to Dry Creek just before it closed one weekend and were met by very welcoming staff who allowed us to do a partial tasting and invited us back for more the next day! We had a great conversation with the owner who is someone who clearly has a passion to make great wine and cares about the environment. We really enjoyed their red wines which are more fuller bodied than others we tasted in the area. We also joined their wine club and the first order arrived in just a few days. You won't be disappointed in your visit to Dry Creek!

Escape from Napa!

By RovingJohnUSA |

What an experience! We took a group of sailing friends from Europe and Australia to Dry Creek Vineyards to show them the REAL wine country and acknowledge the Vineyards steady support for sailing. Excellent wines and touring of course, and it is all nestled in one of the most picturesque valleys, free from heavy tourist traffic, big parking lots and long waiting lines. The personal touch and privacy are elegant, and the surroundings memorable.

We love this winery!

By Mobile318006 |

We went to this winery last year while meandering around the area & enjoyed it so much we joined their wine club. Great wines, especially Zins. (The surrounding outdoors has great photo-opportunity spots for pictures) We visited here again, among other local wineries, & still love Dry Creek. Very friendly and helpful staff on board! Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area, :-)

Just go here, I am trustworthy

By Sophie L |

I went to Dry Creek Winery for a tasting on Memorial Day Weekend...with no reservation. Needless to say it was packed. That said, they didn't turn us away at the door, instead they gave us a table outside and a taste of wine while we waited.

I would recommend this winery to anyone who asked. The service we received from Darren was exemplary. If I hadn't seen the tens of other guests, I would have guessed we were his only table based on the service we received. He took the time to answer every question we had (and we had plenty). He was attentive, kind, and made the experience all the better.

The wine was delicious. The service was incredible. The scenery was stunning. If I lived locally I would have signed up for their wine club without a doubt (in fact the other three members of my party did). I did however get four bottles shipped to my apartment and I am counting down the days for them to arrive at my door.

I definitely recommend this winery to anyone looking for a tasting. The experience was as good as the wine and the wine was incredible.

What a wonderful day

By Warren H |

The beautiful grounds and the amazing wine made for a wonderful day. I would recommend this winery for anyone looking for a memorable experience.

Beautiful wines wonderful hosts

By smp1612 |

My husband and I booked the picnic and tasting and had the most amazing day. The pre ordered picnic was served in the sun on picnic benches which was lovely. Then Karen came and talked us through the wines, she was great. Our afternoon ended with Nick telling us all about the plants and grounds. Dry Creek is a wonderful place with great staff, I couldn’t recommend it more!!

Nice vineyard to visit

By Seeitalldoitall |

Nice vineyard with beautifully maintained grounds that you can walk around with signage to read about the area, plants and history of the vines. You can do wine tasting by bottle or glass. There is also a small gift shop.

One of our favorite wineries not to miss!

By ELH |

What a wonderful way to start your day in Sonoma wine country by visiting Dry Creek Vineyards in Healdsburg for wine tastings and a picnic lunch in a beautiful and picturesque setting. Gabriel made our wine tasting experience unforgettable for the three couples from GA with both her knowledge of wines and her personality. Later that same day, Gabriel saw us in downtown Healdsburg having dinner and made a point to come speak to us. We were so glad to see Gabriel again and told her how much fun we had with her at Dry Creek Vineyards. We enjoyed the wines so much that we decided to join the wine club to keep the experience going.

Nice September afternoon

Attentive Service, Delicious Wines, Beautiful Garden

By JillClardy |

We had a lovely visit to the Dry Creek gardens for a September mid-week tasting. Our host was attentive and took the time to answer all our questions. We even got to see some of the grape harvest being delivered by trucks to the winery in giant crates. The menu listed 4 pours, but we received 2 more pours, and he topped off my husband’s glass more than once. Maybe he knew that I was the designated driver??? There is also an adjacent bee garden with beautiful flowers, and you can wander out into the vineyard and see several different types of grapes on the vine. Each tasting fee is also credited for every 2 bottles that you purchase, so of course we bought 4 bottles

Superlative Wine in a Relaxed/Beautiful Setting

By Yumaste |

The tasting at DCV was excellent. It is relaxed in a beautiful setting comfortably set away from the other tasters. Ian, our host, was relaxed and extremely knowledgeable. The wines were delicious and great value. From the Sauvignon Blanc, to the single vineyard Zinfandel to the Endeavor Cabernet, we enjoyed every wine we tasted.

There is a lovely vineyard walk adjacent to the parking area as well which is highly recommended. We will buy online until we are able to visit again.

Best wine tasting experience in Dry Creek so far

By j4everyoung |

Had a wonderful private tasting for eight at Dry Creek Vineyard. Our group experienced three private tastings that day and the decision that Dry Creek Vineyard was by far the best was unanimous. Their facilities are beautiful (barrel tasting room was gorgeous) and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Darren was our host and he was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable, interesting, but totally friendly and approachable (no one was afraid to ask questions). He also worked hard to keep us on schedule since we had another appointment after Dry Creek. We were all very impressed by this as it's not always easy to wrangle eight people getting their wine on! Also, tasting fees were waived! My husband and I are members, but this was our first private tasting at Dry Creek and we will definitely do it again (super fun). The other six had never been to Dry Creek and all were very impressed. A few enough so that they joined the wine club.

Always a fun place to wine taste

By Richpup |

When we drive onto the grounds of Dry Creek Vineyards, we parked by the beautiful gardens and Bocce courts. Walking through the tree-lined path into the winery we passed a group of people wine tasting outside and playing corn hole. In the tasting room we were greeted by friendly and knowledgeable wine pourers. The wines were wonderful. We look forward to returning again. Next time we will picnic in the gardens.

Beautiful Day at a Charming Winery

By Jennifer N |

Great tasting wines in a lovely setting. Our host was friendly and very knowledgeable. The grounds provided good shade for an outdoor tasting.

Chardonnay so very smooth

By KenMcL149 |

Of course people's tastes in wine can be very different. For me a buttery, smooth chardonnay is the perfect white wine. I always look forward to visiting this winery. One thing to note is that if you buy a bottle of wine (and who only buys one?) they will waive a tasting fee.

Both Good and Bad

By T J Fordonski |

We had a wonderful experience "blending" our own meritage utilizing Dry Creek wines.

However, I became a wine club member and ordered some wine to ship home. The wine was ordered on April 9 with a ship date of April 15. On April 17, I called the Wine Club telephone number to receive a status of the order. Two calls were not answered. Finally I received a return call on April 18. The caller could not find out the status but committed to researching and getting back to me in a "few minutes". As of today, I have not received the return call. Earlier today, I attempted to call customer service, Mike, but that went to voice mail. A message was left with my name, the order number and a contact number. As of right now, I have heard nothing back. To say that I am discouraged and disappointed is an understatement.

Best of the Best! The People, The Grounds, The History, The Wine, The Prices. This winery is a gift to all who visit and leave feeling like family.

Excellent wines and service.

By Excursion587891 |

I haven't been here in several years and, if anything, the wines have gotten better We liked every one which is unusual bur speaks to how good and consistent the wines have become. Our server was also excellent and very knowledgeable about the wines and the winery in general. I highly recommend a visit.

Perfect Wine Tasting Experience

By Joseph h |

Amazing Winery and amazing wine. We had such a great experience on our tour and tasting. If you are in Healdsburg/Sonoma you must taste at Dry Creek. We have been all over Napa and Sonoma and Dry creek is one of our favorites, you will not be disappointed.

Dry Creek staff deliveries above and beyond

By Tara S |

The staff at Dry Creek Vineyard has always exceeded expectations! Being the one of oldest wineries in the valley, you expect a great product, however the staff in the tasting room and outside makes the experience at Dry Creek Vineyard the best in the valley! Darren and Ian, to name a few, make wine tasting fun! Their knowledge and passion about the industry is so apparent and truly remarkable! I recommend anyone and everyone to make a trip to Dry Creek Vineyard and enjoy the total wine experience! Cheers!

It was our first time at the winery and we had such a great experience at Dry Creek Vineyard. The wines were so good, the winery was beautiful and Kevin was so great and really a joy. He was extremely knowledgeable about the wines and winery while keeping it light and fun! We signed up for the wine club and would definitely recommend this winery.

Family fun at Dry Creek Vineyard

By GrandTour535106 |

We had a great time!!! Josh, our host for the day was excellent. He educated us with the different wines, gave us plenty of time to enjoy each pour, made us laugh and treated us very well. The blankets provided for customer use were an added bonus and much appreciated on a chilly afternoon.

Dry Creek Vineyards

By pdt83 |

We stopped in to Dry Creek Vineyards while on my wife's birthday trip. The location was very beautiful and the staff are extremely friendly. We sampled several wines and liked them all, but we really enjoyed the Somers Ranch Zinfandel. When asked about the nautical theme the staff explained the story of the vineyard and the owner's sailing background. It was a fun stop and we would definitely visit again.

Living in Texas, we are able to get the distribution label for a Dry Creek Cab, and it is one of our favorites. To get to visit the actual winery and sample the prestige wines is a grand life treat. Kudos to Ian who made our first visit pleasant and memorable. We evn joined the wine club!

Our wine club release visit

By Larry W |

Dry Creek Winery is an amazing experience!! Large lawn area with lots of private tables & umbrellas.
*** We had made a special request on this tasting trip to have Bernie as our wine tasting host.. Bernie is incredible!! He is SO knowledgeable about the Dry Creek wines & fun to interact with..
We were fortunate to have Bernie on our first visit to Dry Creek in July’23 & I joined the wine club with Bernie’s assistance..
I would highly recommend Dry Creek & Bernie!!!

Great tasting!

By TraceyF |

Darren walked us though the wines & made a very intimate and knowledgeable trip to this vineyard. A definite place to stop if you're in the Sonoma region!

Wonderful wines and staff

By Greg M |

We always have a great time when visiting Dry Creek Vineyard. The ins]es are excellent, the grounds beautiful, and the staff always knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend this stop if you're in the Dry Creek Valley. And they're dog-friendly, too!

Great as always...

By Richard E |

Every time I visit Dry Creek I am warmly greeted and treated to some fantastic wines. This winery is one of the best to visit and it’s lovely grounds is the perfect place for a picnic.

Wine tasting Dry Creek Valley

By DrYuri |

Wonderful tasting. One of the last family owned winery in Dry Creek valley. Our host Darren was great ! Highly recommend

Love everything about DryCreek

By Tracey L |

Love the wines -whites and reds are both excellent.
love the location-Casual, fun and gorgeous.
love the service--All the servers are great but Kevin is the best!

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

By Laura K. |

Beautiful setting. Very knowledgeable host. Devious wine!! The gardens are gorgeous! Don’t miss it in Sonoma!!

Delicious Wines!

By napasyrah |

Dry Creek Vineyards was one of the first to plant Sauvignon Blanc in the Valley. Who knew David Stare’s vision would prove to be one of the best examples of Fume Blanc, and not just Sonoma! Zin lovers are not to miss his Heritage Vines Zinfandel. I buy these two wines by the case!

A Return to Dry Creek

By jstking |

Returned to Dry Creek after many years. We remembered how much we liked it then. Today’s winery and grounds were more beautiful than ever. AND the wines were fantastic. Great service from staff, too. See you all again, but not so long a wait this time!!

Wonderful Place, Amazing People

By Kyle |

The property is gorgeous and the people are so welcoming and friendly. They love telling the story of the winery, and there’s plenty to tell. All of this would make the visit worthwhile, even if the wines were mediocre, but they’re far from that. We’ve been members for two years and we greatly anticipate each shipment. Every wine they make is excellent.

Personal touch

By ozczar |

We met Darren at the nightly wine tasting at The Healdsburg Inn (another great stop) and were invited to the winery for a private party. He put forth the effort to make our experience an exceptional one. Oh, and the wine is pretty good as well.

Wonderful Experience

By kristenthurber |

A group of 4 friends stopped in and had a lovely and personal tasting experience with Darrin. The time he spent, expertise and of course wine quality made this a favorite of wineries we visited. We didn't have time to spend in beautiful gardens outside but will be back!

Wonderful experience as always!

By Shannon B |

Dry Creek is a beautiful setting, with wonderful wine and the most amazing staff! We sort of messed up our reservation, and showed up with a larger group than was expected (we are all wine club members but we only made reservations for part of our group...totally our fault). The staff at Dry Creek was so gracious and were able to accommodate all of us very comfortably. In fact, we loved our spot inside the tent with our own heat lamp! Jack was our server and we are always amazed by his graciousness, his boundless energy, and his extensive knowledge of the wines. He really is a rock star, especially dealing with our larger than expected group plus a dog, with our massive picnic spread.

Fantastic visit

By NikMoTraveler |

This was my second visit to Dry Creek Vineyard and both times were really great! The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and I always learn something new when I'm there. I look forward to taking advantage of their beautiful picnic area in the spring/summer with a nice picnic lunch!

French theme garden party

By oliver062018 |

The idea was wonderful and the setting is perfect! I was a bit dismayed to see venders there, but they weren’t intrusive. Crepes were a great idea but their count was way off. The early guests were given two each but as we didn’t arrive on the dot (driving up from Los Altos) I actually was given the very last crepe and they had run out with quite a few people still standing in line. I also felt there should have been four or five little bites of other food as well. Great idea, but food part could be rethought.
Thank you

Amazed as always

By Paula B |

My daughter and I are joint members & we visited Dry Creek for the French Garden Party (in its beautiful and "newly redone" gardens). We saw first hand the most accommodating staff in action! The event was moved indoors because of heavy and unpredictable rain but in many ways you would never have known it. The French music...the vendors...the acrobatic performer...the wonderful crepes were still there for us all to enjoy. And the staff, in perfect attire, were as friendly and professional as always serving and sharing Dry Creek's wonderful wines. We highly recommend Dry Creek for both great wine tasting and special events!

Great wine and atmosphere

By Lee T |

Beautiful outdoor tasting area and excellent wine. They weren't busy mid-week. Server was attentive, but didn't hover.

Quick drop in for bottles.

By Robert C |

Amazing per usual. I didn't have an appointment but I didn't need to taste, I just needed to swing by and grab a few bottles. Paige met me at the door and helped me to make my selection of 4 wines. A Fumé Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Beeson Ranch Zinfandel and one of the new "Terroir Series" wines the Benchland Meritage. I brought them my party that evening and they were the smash hit of all of the wines at the party. Huge props to Paige for all the help!

Wine pick up

By Vmac2013 |

Dry Creek is one of my favorite wineries to visit. Staff is extremely friendly and the wines are excellent, the pours generous. The gift shop has some great finds. Have purchased many of the cork items offered and everyone who has received these as gifts were genuinely thrilled. It’s great to walk in and be recognized by staff. It is always a pleasure to visit Dry Creek, whether it is to pick up wine or taking out of town visitors for a wine tasting experience.

Beautiful property and excellent wines

By Tiffanie P |

We had an excellent visit to Dry Creek. Marc who was helping us was terrific and had alot of information on wine and things to do in Healdsburg. We enjoyed the wines, particularly the Fume, Malbec and the Endevour Cab. The tasting room was very nice and the property outside was beautiful. It was a bit cold, so we didnt get to fully enjoy the outside, but would recommend grabbing a sandwich a the Dry Creek General store and then enjoying lunch and wine tasting at the Dry Creek Vineyard!

The Best!!

By LindaFurlong |

Dry Creek employees and family are so caring and friendly and welcoming
The wine is superb paired with great food. The location is lovely

Wine tasting at it's best!

By danigasparini |

We highly recommend stopping at Dry Creek Vineyards. As the first winery to open after prohibition they provide a great history of the valley and decades of knowledge in winemaking. Such a fun experience.

Loved This Place

By Bob K |

This is a nice, old style, original winery in iconic Dry Creek Valley. Nice selection of wines with a reasonable tasting fee and attractive grounds. A must stop when circling round the valley.

Wonderful tasting experience up in Healdsburg!

By kappiekap |

Visited this vineyard for the first time with a couple of friends who are members. Had such a great experience! The wine was great, and Paige walked us through the tasting and told us the history of the wines/vineyard. It was great chatting with her while we were going through the tasting!

Wine Country

By Kelly R |

My favorite vineyard. My husband and I were wine tasting in Healdsburg when we stopped to talk to some lovely patrons. They suggested visiting Dry Creek Vineyard and are we ever glad we did. The location was super easy to get to, the ground were gorgeous, and the personnel were fantastic. Paige was our expert. She was positively lovely. We were able to see the back room with all the wonderful oak casks. While I didn't sign up for the members club, I did purchase some terrific bottles of superb wine! Yummy 😋 Furthermore, is you want to eat, bring a picnic basket, buy a great bottle of wine and enjoy! So relaxing.

Nice people and facility

By speedtraveler57 |

This is our favorite winery becasuse the wine pourers are so friendly and helpful. You never feel embarrassed about asking questions and they are passionate about their wines. They have a very nice garden area where you can picnic and enjoy wines you have bought

Very pleasant wine tasting experience

By David N |

We visited the tasting room and were treated to ah hour of great information and tasted up to 10 vintages. We thought our sales rep (whose name I've forgotten) was very knowledgeable and helped us choose the best wines for purchase.

Old Vine Zinfandel is the one!

By Goodscout |

We visited Dry Creek on our recent visit. We enjoy wineries off the beaten path. Dry Creek area has some fantastic zinfandels. We have been in their club for 2 years.
The staff has always been informative and friendly. We will continue to enjoy their wines.

Fantastic

By JUDITHKATHERINE |

Great wines and service! Page was very knowledgeable. Love the zinfandels! Look forward to their events.

Boring wine...

By John F |

All the wine tastes the same - underwhelming.
So sad...
At least the lawn is green and shaded...nice flowers in the garden

Do Not Miss Dry Creek Winery

By Jane C |

If you are in the Healdsburg area and want to wine taste, you have many options. Do not miss Dry Creek Vineyard! They make fantastic wine and have a nice variety. Their customer service makes for a superior wine tasting experience. On top of everything, this is a family owned vineyard and winery. Many of the staff have worked there for years. We have been wine club members for over 10 years and we are made to feel like part of the family. Go and enjoy this beautiful winery!

Dry Creek

By Patrick M |

Great wine and great people. Loved the location and would strongly recommend visiting. Team went out of their way to ensure everyone was happy and having a great time.

Great Winery

By Dennis C |

Great final stop on a bike tour of Dry Creek winery's. This was the last stop on a bicycle tour of the Dry Creek area of winery's. There wines are spectacular. I bought 3 bottles and in the process of ordering more. The grounds are spectacular with picnic tables and gardens. A must stop when in the Healdsburg area.

A great place to enjoy wonderful wine

By William B |

This past weekend my wife & I and another couple visited your winery in the afternoon. We were hosted by Bob Antoniuc, who gave us a history of the winery as we were tasting the your wine. He was very professional and really knows his wine.
As we tasted each one he would provide background on the varies types of wine included in the wine – Zinfandel, Meritage, etc. We ended our tasting with Bob walking us through the vineyard and sampling the grapes. He was so informative.
It’s employees like Bob that make wine tasting so enjoyable. We joined your wine club and look forward to returning for more tasting.

Great and beautiful winery

By Lance M |

Love this place. Great wine affordable prices. This place is a great place to visit and bring a group of people. Nice indoor and outdoor spots

Lots of zinfandel

By Clarence C |

Our host was fairly pleasant. We just weren't into the wine. I'm not sure if it's because it's the end of the day or we're not into Zinfandels which is half of what was poured...

Wine tasting/Club members

By Marcsang |

Five stars all the way! Lots of informative pours. Questions answered in a personal, friendly but professional manner. Highly recommend a visit and club membership. Wines are immediately drinkable. White wine lovers will be happy with The Mariness. Red wine-The Endeavor.

Beautiful setting, great wines, knowledgeable staff!

By Monica S |

Stopped by in January for a pop in wine tasting. Came back in August to explore a little more after having enjoyed more of the Dry Creek wines at a local tasting in Austin TX. Joined the club! Definitely recommend a stop at this lovely winery if you are passing through the Dry Creek area.

Great tasting experience on a great property!

By Serena |

Dry Creek was one of our stops, and had the most wines we liked! Really great tasting room experience...the guide was well informed about the area, the grapes, the process and the wines. We ended up liking the wines so much, we joined the wine club! In addition to the great wines, they have a beautiful property with a lovely view of the valley.

Looking forward to returning in the summer!

Great Wine, Pretty Views, Friendly People

By emfrederick |

Dry Creek was our first stop on our trip in celebration of a 40th Birthday and I'm so glad it was - it set the bar high. From the garden view setting to the personalized tasting menus to Darren's knowledge it was a perfect kick-off to the weekend. And the wine was fantastic as well. Will definitely visit again!

Harvest Celebration

By Mauro1990 |

My wife and I had a wonderful time at this wonderful event that is held for wine club members. This is one of the percs of many for wine club members. Something to think about in becoming a wine club member at this winery. Not just the percs but excellent excellent wines. Their Zinfandels are fantastic,Fume Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc,Meritage , Endeavor,Cabernet Sauvignon just to name a few of their wines which have been crafted to perfection!!!!!
The Staff at Dry Creek are very knowledgeable and enjoy what they do!
Thank you to your team members for making every visit a memorable one!

Great place to spend an afternoon

By is3771 |

Very nice setting for this winery and great lawn, seating for relaxing. The Fume Blanc was so good we didn't continue with the tasting, just bought a bottle and sat outside to enjoy. Nice was to end the day.

77th on 47

By boyluar |

Great tasting wines, calming but inviting ambience, and we had a perfect host in Page. She explained the different wines, the locations, soil, and everything we can absorb. My brother who was celebrating his birthday and the rest of the family had a wonderful time.

Friendly staff

By Venture154924 |

Had a great tasting with Darren Abel. Highly recommend! The outdoor tasting area was very nice and the grounds are beautiful.

Private wine tasting

By Megan D |

My friends and I did a private wine tasting with Kevin. I would recommend this to anyone, that’s interested in learning more about Dry Creek Vineyard and the wine. This is our second time, and we are already planning another.

Dry Creek Vineyard

By tad_beckman |

We had a great visit at Dry Creek Vineyard. The tasting room is very attractive and our server/guide was extremely kind and knowledgeable. The surroundings are fantastic. We've been here in all seasons and the colors are especially beautiful in fall. And their wines are special. I especially love their fume blanc.

Fantastic experience!

By Barbara_TX1 |

We have been members of the Dry Creek Vineyard wine club for many years now and try to get up there once a year when we can. (We live in Texas.) We always schedule a private tasting and have a picnic lunch on the property. This year we had the private tasting outside on the property and it was wonderful as usual. Paige took excellent care of our party of 8 and we had a great time. The wine was great and everything was just perfect - weather included. Thank you for making our trip to Sonoma so great.

Terrific tasting visit

By mmbs6374 |

We had a terrific time at Dry Creek, and it was late in the day when customer service can start to flag, so that made it even better. Marc was our person, and he was only there for the day, so we lucked out. But Ian and Bob and everyone else we came into contact with were all wonderful. No pressure, lots of laughter, great wines.

Blending Experience

By 2ReadyforVacation |

My wife and I were looking for something different to do in wine country this trip. We found it at Dry Creek. We were able to do our own blending of a bottle of wine using the five bordeaux wines. Darren was a patient and kind (to our blends) guide thru the experience. We were able to take our personal blend home with us and even put a Dry Creek label on it. We had some time left at the end of the experience and Darren brought some additional wines in for us to taste. Of the 12 wineries we visited this one received our greatest accolades. The wines offered are not only tasty, but also cost effective. Dry Creek should be on your list when visiting the area! Oh yeah, the only wine club we joined this year.

Nice Wine!

By MTS--1000 |

Friendly tasting wine and nice wine. Well worth a visit. We enjoyed our tasting and left with a couple of bottles of wine. Very pleasant drive from Healdsburg.

Learned so much

By marlenes854 |

This was a great visit to a vineyard, just minutes away from downtown Healdsburg. For the first time ever (after living in the Bay Area for over 30 years) I joined a wine club. The wines were nice enough, and though not a major wine drinker, the interaction with the tasting room personnel (Jim Cutcher) was so great that it was worth committing to more bottles this year. Down to earth, friendly, and informative.

Great wine

By Coylum |

Got a sandwich at the store over the road and had it with a lovely bottle in their garden after a pleasant wine tasting. A very good stop with great service.

Wine tasting

By Luke B |

Fantastic vineyard with really friendly and knowledgeable staff!
We were a walk in and the staff accommodated us by making space and giving some really good service. Unfortunately for my bank account the wine was really good so we walked away with a couple of bottles....

Great Great Great

By Olydon |

Visited this wonderful winery off the beaten path a bit and so glad we did. Beautiful grounds and super cool facility. We had a wine pass that allowed for an 2 for 1 tasting in the barrel room. It was a chilly day and were seated at a really cool table with our own throw blankets to help warm us up until the tasting did! Our server that day was a super outgoing and super knowledgeable young lady named Paige. She was so much fun and had the best attitude that anyone could ask for. Pretty sure we asked some really great questions and she was so generous with her time with and for us. Can’t wait to go back to this facility.

One of our favorite wineries

By meganj_007 |

We have visited twice for tasting and enjoyed both visits. The staff is friendly and willing to spend time talking about the wine in a comfortable and beautiful setting. The wine is great! They have several nice zins and a good Chardonnay too.

Wonderful Experience

By Jim C |

We had such a great time at this beautiful winery. The tasting was superbly done and we learned many interesting facts about the winery, the region and wines in General. The grounds are beautiful and the outdoor table where we had the tasting was a fantastic setting. The wines were so outstanding we joined the Wine Club. Can’t wait to go back.

Amazing wine!

By Preeti S |

The best wine that we had in Sonoma County - and the ambiance of the vineyard was lovely too. They were complying with social distancing, and had redone their outdoor seating to make sure all guests had a lovely experience. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful views and good wine!

By Rachel R |

This vineyard was beautiful and the wines were really good! The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is that we were unable to do a tasting outside. We would have had to stand inside at the counter, so instead we got a class and went outside! Very beautiful

wine tasting: Pleasure in the garden

By laura s |

the setting in the garden at the winery is always lovely. Freshly planted primroses, and daffodils in full bloom were a special treat. We had a new, young server, Jack. He was full of information and enthusiasm.

Family Get Together

By Mauro1990 |

Came here on Saturday Labor Day weekend to pick up my club wine and reserved a table for tastings and a picnic with my family.
The wines, as always, were exceptional . We took our time tasting the wines that were featured and Ian was amazing hosting us. We ended up buying more bottles than expected.

Wonderful afternoon!

By mffayne |

Request Darren! He was excellent! We sat outside in a beautiful garden with picnic tables. We brought our own cheese, crackers and cookies and he paired all our favorite foods with wines that complimented each one. We left loving zinfindels, Sauvignon Blanc and a surprising meritage. We will be ordering this wine from now on!

Exceptional! ❤️

By Andrea West |

Celebrated my sister’s 30th birthday here! The wines were all incredible and the service is excellent. The winery is beautiful and they have fun games to play. Definitely recommend as it was not over run with visitors and very enchanting and fun atmosphere.

Great private wine tasting and tour

By Cabolover4ever |

This is a quaint family run winery just outside of town. Excellent informational tour, we learned so much about winemaking! Joined their wine club as well. Will be back!

Wine Country Day

By Lyndon O |

This winery was an unexpected PLEASURE. We have traveled and visited so many wineries over the years in various wine districts but somehow missed this one. My wife had purchased a terrific bottle of Dry Creek Fume Blanc at a grocery store and said we should visit the winery as we were on holidays in California. We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with the friendly staff and walking around their picnic grounds. A family winery well worth your time to visit.

Great service and Good wine

By ohalawmary |

My adult daughter and I were wine tasting. Ian was terrifc. He spent time with us going over the different wines and what we liked. He made suggestions and even brought some we hadn't seen. We were able to compare and select the ones we liked best. I say that because we liked all of them.

Always a special time at Dry Creek Winery

By TonyMollyMisty |

For over 25 years, at least annually, we travel to Sonoma for wine tasting. With few exceptions, Dry Creek tasting room is always a must stop. The consistency, quality and price point of their wines is unmatched. We have been club members for over 15 years.

However, this year was the best ever! We reserved the tasting and picnic lunch experience. Usually we enjoy a lunch from the General Store but combining the tasting and General Store salad and sandwiches was just too good.

Marc did an amazing job with our tasting. Seated outside, under the shade of an umbrella, we had a relaxed informative leisurely selection of outstanding wines. For one so young, Marc has a marvelous knowledge about wine and detailed history of Dry Creek winery and the family origin. After the tasting, we topped it off with our sandwiches and salad for a perfect day in wine country.

Thanks to everyone!

Lovely Saturday

By Victoria F |

Paige is the best at Dry Creek! High energy, knowledgeable about wines, and a real positive company in our presence! Thank you!

great experience and wine!

By steve g |

had a great and interesting tour on a beautiful day. The tasting at the end was a lot of fun and we ended up joining the wine club

Fabulous visit!

By shereemaye |

My daughter and I had an amazing visit to Dry Creek. John showed us around the property and we walked through the vineyard looking at different grape varieties.

We tasted a lot of great wines and had the opportunity to compare the different Zinfandels.

Overall a terrific experience. John suggested we visit the Redwoods near Healdsburg
which we did visit and it was incredible.

Perfect escape with fantastic wines and ambiance!

By K-K |

Fantastic experience! Seated outside with wonderful shade trees and spoiled with what felt like a private tasting! Daren presented the wines with great knowledge and answered all our questions. This is the PERFECT place to escape to, enjoying the fabulous wines and beautiful setting. Fell in love with the Mariness and brought home more of our favorite Mariner. All the proper distancing and coverings were adhered to and really did not take anything away from our experience! If anything, because of the distancing we felt truly special. We were 4 family members, so could sit together. We'll be back soon!

Went for a picnic

By bans1953 |

Stop by to enjoy their beautiful grounds and watch grape harvesting and have a picnic.
Aslo, dropped into the tasting area which was full of people. But there was enough staff that we didn't wait long.
Ian our guide was pleasant, knowledgeable and friendly. He made us feel very welcome and expertly guided us throughout the wine tasting.
On this trip to wine country. we visited many wineries. Dry Creek was our favorite. Every wine we tried was excellent and we joined the wine club. Can't wait for our first shipment which is on the way already!

A must visit winery experience!

By Kim S |

We had a wonderful time on our second trip to this beautiful winery. Great wines, great education and our host Ridge was awesome! We will be back!

Always a great experience

By Susan B |

We love going to this winery. Their wine is amazing and staff is always friendly. They have a great lawn with picnic tables so we are able to have our kids there with no problem.

Amazing, insightful tour and tasting

By morecchia808 |

I definitely recommend taking the tour if you have time. Jim took us on a very educational tour of the beautiful grounds at Dry Creek Vineyard before leading us into the barrel room for a private tasting. We enjoyed several fantastic wines as Jim continued to educate us on the history of what we were tasting. Don't miss out!

Great experience, wonderful wine, friendly staff, affordable wine club!

By davidwh64 |

We really liked this place. Great wine and friendly staff. Paige was our excellent host. We joined their wine club… affordable (and very good!) wine and shipping costs. Lots of options for wine. Our favorites were Farmhouse Zinfandel, Spencer’s Hill Zinfandel, Merlot, and Endeavour Cabernet Sauvignon. I recommend visiting!

Annual girls trip!

By cfox1975 |

Robert hosted my friends and I on our annual girls trip. He went above and beyond for our group. We enjoyed the comprehensive tasting and a lot of laughs in between. If you are looking for a wonderful, family owened winery in the heart of Dry Creek, this is the place to go! Thank you Robert!

Above and Beyond Hospitality!

By KarenGM_57 |

I have a service dog and visited Dry Creek Vineyard during Passport weekend and while other wineries seemed put off with having her with me, the folks at Dry Creek not only welcomed us with cheerful greetings but one of the staff members gifted my pet with a collapsible dog dish and a pet waste bag and told us that they love when service dogs visit their winery! The wines were some of the best on the tour and we were very happy that we included them in our weekend. We will definitely visit again!

Best experience of our Sonoma trip!

By winepecks |

Our Tasting Experience was amazing! Darren explained each wine and gave us the time we needed to understand and enjoy them - even letting us spend time with the labels. The grounds are crazy awesome - leave a little extra time for just walking around and enjoying.

Nice tasting room with knowledgable and friendly staff. Nice picnic area under the tress with plenty of room for groups. The wines are good, but not exceptional.

Suberb Private tasting

Tim was a knowlegable wine guy ,from growing, to the whole wine making process. Really made us feel comfortable like an old friend ,as we are not experts. He helped us appreciate excellent wine and differences.

Cozy tasting room and lovely gardens

Not only is the wine superb, but the folks are friendly and the grounds beautiful. It is a great location for a picnic with some wonderful wine.

Excellent wine

By Getaway127555 |

We really enjoyed our visit and learning about the Winery. Excellent tastings!! Beautiful winery and beautiful scenery. We joined their wine club for their full bodied red wines.

Wonderful Zins!

By Bruce A |

excellent tasting. A well balanced Chardonnay and a Zinfandel worth the trip. One of the classier wineries in California.

Wine tasting

By Keng L |

Usually visit Dry Creek when I am in the area. Always friendly and informative servers. The wine this year was not quite as good as two years back. The chenin blanc is usually better than the fume blanc. Better red wines are available with the reserve tasting.

By J06811 |

Good place to go. Stop first at the Dry Creek General Store then have a picnic and glass of wine at Dry Creek Vineyard.

A case of Wine

By Mauro1990 |

It was a peaceful Sunday morning when I arrived at the winery. The grounds were completely cleaned and very welcoming..
The tasting room was quiet and there were two ladies behind the counter. I came to pick up a case of white wine because I was running low at home . The hostess was pleasant and very hospitable. I was undecided of which one to purchase so she let me taste a couple of varieties. There was no rush or pressure and I felt comfortable being there. I chose the DCV3.
Excellent wine aged in stainless steel.
Best time to come is right when they open at 10:30, taste some of there wonderful amazing wines and then go and have a picnic lunch in the courtyard with plenty of tables.

Tasting Greatness.

By Mauro1990 |

Dry creek winery has been one of the most iconic wineries that we have been too. Their wines are amazing, specializing in their Zinfandels. But their cabs are truly one of a kind too. Our wine tasting was great!! Darrel was our host and he knew everything about what he was pouring for us. They have a great team of knowledgeable employees. This is why we are club members because of their Quality of wines and hospitality. Also, their new release for this year is their Petit Zin-WOW!!

Lovely wine weekend

By annette c |

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Dry Creek Vineyard tasting room. Very relaxed, friendly and unpretentious. The grounds are beautiful and it would be a nice place to bring a picnic lunch.

We enjoyed both the wine and the people so much we joined the wine club!

A much better deal than Napa wineries that charge so much for tastings now.

We are from the El Dorado/Amador region (which we also highly recommend as it produces great Zins)

Very Nice Spot

By Dianne N |

We just grabbed a bottle of chardonnay and snacked in the garden. The employee in the tasting room was really nice and let us taste everything before our purchase. I wish I could remember her name! The experience was refreshing after one of those pretentious and expensive sit-down tastings, designed, I think, for wealthy millennials.

Wonderful wine tasting on a fall day

By Vicky_Plantagenet |

Fantastic! Always love our wine tasting experiences at Dry Creek Vineyard. Paige (our server) was lovely and engaging, the grounds were beautiful (as always), and the wine is top notch. We really enjoy bringing friends here. DCV never disappoints! Wonderful wine tasting experience on a perfect fall day.

Exceptional wines with friendly staff…

By Grace |

By far our favorite winery in Sonoma county. They offer a variety of white and red wines with our favorite Sauvignon Blancs and Zinfandels. All members of their staff are always welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Tastings are offered on their lawn surrounded by beautiful gardens and trees, or in their barrel room. Great place to unwind and relax and enjoy exceptional wines. Special shout out to Darren and Ian who make the experience like visiting and laughing with old friends!

Rushed tasting...wines were ok. Nice grounds.

By Dave D |

We visited 6 wineries over a weekend. This was my least favorite because it was rushed. Person hosting us seems like he had something else to do. He eventually left and Bob finished our tasting. He was super...reason for a 4 versus a 3. Wines were ok...just lots of choices. Can’t tell you anything special about their wines because they had so many.

Wonderful private tour and tasting

By Steve Pacini |

My wife and I booked a private tour and tasting ($40) for a Monday afternoon in January. We were the only people on the tour and we had excellent personal attention the entire time. The gentleman that conducted the tour (I think his name was Don) was a knowledgeable and very personable older gentleman. He had an intimate knowledge of the winery's history and the wine making process, from the type of soil and varietals planted, to the actual wine making production and distribution process.
Of course, their wine is excellent, which is why we chose this location in the first place. We tasted at least 6 varietals, all of which we very good.
We highly recommend the private tours at Dry Creek. Salud!

Lovely wines and grounds

By Katherine C |

The staff was very friendly and informative. Our friends were wine clubs members and we now know why! The wines were wonderful. We had packed a picnic and enjoyed a bottle of wine on the lovely grounds.

Beautiful views and a relaxing afternoon with an excellent host! The wines we sampled were varied and flavorful, although we did not find that special bottle we wanted to take home. We appreciated our host's detailed knowledge of the winery.

Great wine

By Brittany C |

Delicious wine, tasting was a great price too. Had a nice variety and the staff was super knowledgeable about their wine and the growing process of the area.

One of the best wineries to visit in Sonoma

By Woodywine |

We've been Dry Creek fans for years but this was our first visit since we moved to Santa Rosa three years ago. It's a beautiful location and well run with excellent and knowledgeable staff. Do your best to find Page, short, dark hair, she really knows the wines and how to take care of people. I'm a chef writer and had the pleasure of interviewing David Stare in 2019. He is outspoken and entertaining if you get a chance to meet him as he's still around the winery although now retired. His best known wines are the two Sav Blances, the Fume and a step up, the Sonoma and the Zins. Wonderful place and great experience but try not to be there on a Saturday or Sunday as that's when all the lovely people come up from SF and silicon valley. Oh and don't miss the Dry Creek General Store (not related, in fact now owned by Gena Gallo) that you drove passed at the intersection. Great place for a sandwich to go but again go early or late. Enjoy.

Excellent tasting by a great host

By dogood111 |

Jack did a great job hosting us . He is very customer focused and very knowledgeable about all of Dry Creek Winery’s wines!

Pleasant afternoon

By Cjk1957 |

Nice ambiance, attentive service, wine was good. Charcuterie snack box was small, wrapped up cute. Social distance was in effect but we were happy they could still accommodate us. We had an appointment.

Now here is a cute place

By Edwelsh |

My Ohio transplant to California cousin and husband took us to Dry Creek Vineyards where they are members of their wine club. Cute place with a beautiful view of the mountains. They had it nicely decorated on the inside for fall. To my surprise they started talking Browns football with us. How nice to share a football passion with someone in California. And, by the way, the wines we tasted were very good.

Enjoyable wines

By Caroline S |

This small winery was recommended by our accommodation hosts. We were fortunate enough to encounter a wine host, Ian, who was prepared to explain many aspects of the wines including the differences in the terroir from one side of the valley to the other. We tasted one Zinfandel from one side of the Dry Creek Valley, then another one. Two different wines. We enjoyed the Vogensen Ranch Zinfandel the most

some of our favorite wines!

By Anne R |

The folks that serve your tastings are absolutely delightful.....very informed and can help you make decisions buying based on your tastes.....

Pleasantly surprised

By BurtnRonda |

We stopped at this winery for the first time during 2019 Dry Creek Passport. The excellent facilities and spirit/hospitality of the staff were only outdone by the quality of their wines. The staff did an excellent job of conveying their history and wine-making philosophy. We will definitely be back.

First visit to my favorite cab winery, many cases later.

It is all very simple and straightforward. You will never have a bad DCV wine or pay too much for their very best.

A True Wine Tasting Experience Without the Hype and Pretentiousness of Others in the Area

By bbjulie |

Walked in on a Sunday afternoon for a tasting. Beautiful grounds even on a rainy February day. Can only imagine how nice this would be in season. We were greeted with a warm welcome and asked if we wanted to have our tasting in their welcome area or proceed to their cellar. We of course chose their wine cellar area and it was absolutely perfect for a tasting, sitting alongside their barrels and other wine paraphernalia. Bernie our wine attendant was genuine, professional, patient, and very well versed on Dry Creek's wine making methodology. They offered 11 different wines to taste with 5 per person. We chose 10 of the 11 to get the true variety and found most of them very very good. They're mainly a Bordeaux style winery with many varieties of Zinfandel but we found their chardonnay to be excellent as well. We ordered a mixed case and received a nice discount on the wines and shipping for joining their wine club which had minimal requirements for future purchases which doesn't lock you in to overpriced releases you may not want. We were on a last minute 2 day trip in the area and didn't have any reservations anywhere, so we took pot luck and drove around Healdsburg looking for wineries. Fortunately we found Dry Creek and rate then in the top 10 of about 50 wineries we've visited in the Napa/Sonoma region over the years. We highly recommend them!

Beautiful day with friends. Ian was also wonderful. We look forward to our Christmas Dry Creek celebration

By Linda |

Paige was so friendly talking care of my friends and me
The wine was lovely as my membership is important to me for years
Lovely atmosphere with great wine

Dry Creek Vineyard

By Mayda M |

Dry Creek is an amazing place! We visited with our adult daughter and all three of us had a great time. The grounds are beautiful and the wine is delicious! You can take a self guided tour of some of the vineyards. They also have a picnic area where you can have a meal that you bring with you. The Dry Creek general store is right down the road at an easy walking distance. Our experience was made even better by our tasting host. Bob was amazing. He explained everything as we tasted. He took his time and did not rush us through. His friendliness and professionalism was top notch. I would recommend Dry Creek wholeheartedly. Ask for Bob when you get there!

Always so accommodating - they are happy to have you try their wines

By Jeana P |

We are members of Dry Creek because we love their wines. On a spur of the moment, we decided we wanted to try a specific wine that we recently read about that got good reviews. Even though it was last minute, they fit us in and were happy to be accommodating. If you haven’t been, they have a very pretty courtyard outside for tasting. Customer service was excellent as per usual!

The BEST tasting experience

By Lynn C |

Excellent tasting and tour on Sunday with expert Jim Cutcher! Learned so much and joined the 12 bottle club ($1 shipping)! Thanks so much!

Great time & great wine at a beautiful winery!

By Janice |

We had a lovely wine tasting! Everyone who works at Dry Creek was so nice. Kevin welcomed us and Jim and Karen gave us a wonderful tasting with so much fun and interesting information. We felt like we were visiting friends! Thank you! Janice & Ingrid

A must see!

By eswrite |

Had a great time with our newest friend, Page, who guided us in such a fun way through our tasting. The grounds and tasting room are beautiful. A must Healdsburg visit!

Wonderful time walked away feeling satisfied with their wines

By Disneyrider |

wonderful time with our host
party of 3 have been a fan of Dry Creek Zinfandel wine for many years but this is our first time visiting the vineyard
Host describes the different wines we tasted and we particularly enjoy the reds
nicely landscaped front picnic area unfortunately the weather was not as nice since it started drizzling then a downpour but we need the rain this season
we spent almost 2 hours tasting the wines but did not tour the facility
Host was very knowledgable about the wines and the local scene

Barrel Tasting

By Mauro1990 |

My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Barrel Tasting Event. We managed to taste some of the wines that are used for blending. Wow. AWSOME!!!
Thank you to all your team especially Ian and Robert!
This is why we are Club Members of Dry Creek—fantastic wines and sterling hospitality.
Again thank you for making our day a very special one for my wife and I.

Great wine tasting experience

By Rhonda T |

Loved our outdoor tasting. Darrin was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The wines served showcased the wonderful wines produced by Dry Creek. Highly recommend.

Solos welcomed!

By Caren C |

I stopped by on a weekday and left the teenagers in the car. I was worried that they would look down on a single visitor, since most wine tasters travel in packs, but they were so friendly and welcoming. I even found another solo at the tasting bar, and struck up a very enlightening conversation between him - a wine blogger, the employee and me. All in all a great time. Lots of international visitors!

Very Nice Experience

By James C |

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our visit to Dry Creek Vineyard. The facility was very nice, the wines we tasted were uniformly good, and our host (Bob Antoniuc) was congenial and informative.

Dry Creek Vineyard always a great experience!

By Rich W |

Dry Creek Vineyard is a great choice to visit in Sonoma County. Close to Healdsburg, it is convenient. Great wine, consistently welcoming and locally owned. With fantastic white wines (Fume Blanc) and reds (Old Vine Zin) you will love a guided tasting. Learn the history where DCV is a key part of Sonoma Wine history!

Meritage and Music!

By Travel2CtheWorld |

We enjoyed the vineyard concert on Saturday and the meritage class on Sunday last weekend. Both were perfectly executed as always. Thank you for making our time in Sonoma County very, very enjoyable yet again.

Great Time

By Amy D |

We love Dry Creek Vineyard. This was our first visit with my mother-in-law and her cousin, they had never been to wine country before. They were so impressed and enjoyed themselves so much.

Don't miss Dry Creek when you visit wine country!

By Joseph N |

Our favorite winery in wine country! As wine club member, we brought two friends for a tasting on Saturday. The weather was cool but sunny so we sat outside. Our server was friendly & very knowledgeable; our friends are "wine nerds"& were totally impressed. Their wines are some of our favorites...great value & wines.

Good wine, good company, great day!

By John S |

We had visited several wineries during out trip to Healdsburg, but Dry Creek Vineyards stands out due to the good wine and great people that help you enjoy the experience. Our group stayed after closing, and they were accommodating of our group. Nice place to visit.

By 777Willy |

Been a fan of Dry Creek since the late seventies. Their Fume Blanc has been a summer staple for me and I've shared it with my family and friends. Still love it. Enjoyed several of their others and have enjoyed them as well. Definitely do the private tasting if you can! 5 stars!

Creating Our Meritage

By Sarah A |

We had an amazing time at Dry Creek. When we take our annual wine trip we plan out at least one tasting experience beyond the regular tasting room tasting each day of our trip. For this day we planned a blending class, where we were able to blend our own Meritage. We absolutely loved it! I'm so bad with names, but I believe it was Chris who is a Sommelier who led us on a great tour. He has an abundance of knowledge on wine and he was a great "instructor" for our blending class. We were able to bottle our own blend, make a label and cork it. It was fun to compare my blend to my husband's to see who the better "wine maker" is. I'm pretty sure I won ;) The extra experience is well worth it. We have done many food and wine pairings, so this was extra special to do something more unique and very personal. Cheers!

Enjoyable Wine-Tasting

By p_tirpak |

My husband and I spent an enjoyable afternoon at Dry Creek Vineyard. We so enjoyed their lovely wines and the staff was very knowledgeable not just in wine making but in the agriculture and geography of the land and vineyards. The tour of the barrel room was very interesting. This is the only winery in Napa or Sonoma that I have been to (and that entails many) that had a simulation of what happens in the barrel. The grounds are beautiful as well. It was a lovely place to visit and I encourage you to visit as well!

Great wines and attentive, friendly service.

By drbob1220 |

My wife and I had a really nice experience here. So much so, in fact, we joined their club. Our guy Jim, was extremely friendly, educational, attentive and just really made it one of the best tastings we had; and by then we had about 8 under our belts. While the place was busy, we never felt rushed. Even with a slight hiccup with our order, Jim went above/beyond to call us at home to ensure he made it right. While the reds were our favorits, the chenin blanc was unique and also an excellent wine. Beautiful facility and grounds as well.

Great Wine, better experience!!

By Timmer M |

We went with family, to celebrate a birthday! We were treated with the warmest welcome, enjoyed an amazing tasting in the cellar room! Not only was the wine splendid, but our host, Darren, was absolute class! We tasted great wines including a couple "off menu items" that really stole the show! Can't wait to come back the next time we are in Sonoma!

Memorable!!!

By Michael G |

This is our second Holiday Dinner we have attended. I have been a wine club member since 1996. I should have been coming sooner. The more times we attend, the more memories with new friends we make. Thank you for organizing such a classy affair. We have decided to make this an annual event. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Dry Creek Vineyard stands out as the best in every way

By Lisa S |

Favorite way to enjoy the day...a lovely tasting at Dry Creek Vineyard!! Amazingly picturesque location, friendly and knowledgeable staff and wines that will continue to surpass your expectations...who could ask for anything more? In Sonoma County there are many winery options to choose from, but Dry Creek Vineyard stands out as the best in every way.

Swedes visit Wine County...

By Rod T |

Private sit down tasting was quite special for our guests...The ambiance and attention to detail provided by Darren Abel, the Dry Creek Vineyard Concierge, will be fondly remembered by our Scandinavian friends. This was our third and final winery tasting for our group of seven. I would be derelict however, not to mention that the "Reds" were simply outstanding and Club membership quite worthwhile!

"Dry Creek Vinyard"

By Bob G |

We live locally (Windsor) but had guest from Virginia staying with us. Wine tasting was at the top of the list. Over a two day period we visited six Sonoma County Vineyards. At dinner we talked about the Vineyards, their wines offered at tastings, knowledge of the host, and over all experience. We all agreed, Dry Creek Vineyard was number one, the quality of their wines were over the top, and said Sonoma County, #1.

Great wine and friendly host

By Kristi S |

We had a fabulous tasting with Darren! He was accommodating to our large group. When rain came the day of our reservation he was flexible and helped come up with a backup plan. Darren was knowledgeable about the wines and even poured us a few off the list. Our group of 10 went home happy, and with 18 bottles of wine! Cheers 🍷

Wine Pick up with Mom

By Deborah G |

Went to pick up wine only and wound up there for over an hour visiting with other guests, shopping and tasting. Will be back next week with a group from the East Coast visiting

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent wines

By adnilelag |

We enjoyed our second visit to Dry Creek Winery as much as our first, three years ago. The beautiful Chardonnay brought us back, but they produce top notch reds as well. There are strict limits on how much wine we can bring back into Australia, but we will always find room for a bottle of Dry Creek. The staff were helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable.

Wonderful Visit

By smitty237 |

Our group outing included a visit to Dry Creek.

We had a great session with the staff discussing the wine. Very informative.

The wine tasting was outstanding. They even offering additional reserve wine.

There is a very nice picnic area. We had a great lunch with wine!

Excellent vineyard to visit

By Mike Collins |

Very informative and excellent wine, their suavignon blanc had just won a gold medal!
Darren was very helpful and we joined the wine club

Dry Creek is fabulous- visit!

By mommanac |

We love Dry Creek. We have been club members for many years and try to visit once a year. The wine is delicious, the staff is incredibly accommodating and the tastings have been tailored to our requests. We were inside this year which was a first (California storms), surrounded by barrels. Our attendant Paige was delightful, knowledgeable and entertaining. We LOVED her!

In good weather you’ll be seated outside in the gardens. Bring or buy some charcuterie and make it an even better experience.

Great wine, very friendly

By Judy E |

We stopped here during the power outage in early October, 2019. They were one of very few wineries open during the outage, but we had planned to stop here anyway. They get great reviews and earn them! We tasted many excellent wines and the people working there were great. Highly recommend!

Awesome Experience

By 12Wheels12 |

I loved the park like setting in the front and I loved the wines. The winemaker here must be very talented and diverse.

Cabernet surprise!

By 805LInda |

Marc was wonderful, and we were so appreciative of the special bottle of cab she open for us. Such an enjoyable stop!

Dry Creek Valley

By John B |

Fantastic tasting with multiple wines tried! One of my favorite stops in Sonoma! Great reds and whites. However, Zinfandels are what they truly excell at crafting.

New Friends and Fabulous Wines

By Joani B |

We had not planned a tasking at this vineyard, however, we met a couple at a tasting dinner the previous day and were invited to join them at Dry Creek Vineyard. The grounds made for a lovely spot to picnic, restrooms are clean, staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

We enjoyed the tasting in the Cellar Room with Kevin. In fact, we loved the wines so much we joined their club after promising ourselves we wouldn't join any clubs during our trip to Sonoma. If you're only visiting a few vineyards give this one a try. Full well rounded reds, we especially loved the Beeson Ranch Zinfandel.

The standard to beat

By mindycwhittle |

We visited Dry Creek Vineyard years ago and thought it was the best and we still think the same. The staff, tasting room and wines are top notch and really set the standard for vineyards in Dry Creek.
This is the vineyard that cannot be missed, and should be on the top of the list for any visit in the area.
We have been members of their wine club since that first visit 10 years ago and we continue to rank Dry Creek wines as some of the best.

Excellent wine cellar

By Beretta Marzio |

Great experience in a very nice location, clean and beautiful. Staff very knowledgeable and welcoming. Refined and very good wine. Council

Wine tasting with a sailing motif

By jandc8491 |

My wife and I did a seated tasting of Dry Creek's limited-production and single-vineyard wines ($25 pp). Friendly Hostess Ashley told us about the history of the winery. Several of the wines were too young to be enjoyed. We mentioned that to Ashley, and she modified the tasting to let us sample some different wines, which were OK but not memorable. I did like all the sailing pictures in the tasting room.

Outstanding in EVERY Way!!

By LoriLClodt |

Not only does Dry Creek have incredible wine, but the integrity of the company and helpfulness of their staff sets them apart from any other vineyard we've ever done business with. My husband and I are members of the Dry Creek Wine Club. We live in Las Vegas, and when we received our recent shipment we were mortified to realize our wines had been damaged during shipment by the extreme temperatures of the desert! I called Mary at Dry Creek, and she immediately sent me a new shipment of all 6 wines. They were shipped in a temperature controlled package to ensure they were not damaged again! I had my new shipment within a week after the original shipment. She apologized for the inconvenience and assured me they issue would be resolved. On top of that, she e-mailed me once she saw that they had arrived safely just to make sure that we were satisfied with how the situation was handled. In a world where great customer service is hard to find, Dry Creek goes above and beyond the normal!! Not only are their wines superior to most others, the company as a whole sets a new standard for customer service on ALL levels!!

Nautical themes and delicious wines

By E W |

We received a coupon to taste at Dry Creek Vineyard from our Healdsburg hotel. We were very impressed by the wines, grounds, hospitality and overall enjoyment of our tasting experience. So much so, in fact, that we joined the wine club. We look forward to warmer weather where we can sit at the outdoor patio space and bring our dog with us!

GREAT WINE TASTING!

By Linda M |

We stopped by on a beautiful Sunday to pick up our club shipment and do a little wine tasting. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable and the wine is always wonderful. There were a few new ones we got to taste and learned that a lot of releases will be in early April as they were sold out of some of our favorites. We'll be back soon - always a fun time, great wine and beautiful grounds.

Great Cabs and Zinz!

By leosebus@remax.net |

If you enjoy great Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel this is a must stop. They also have extensive history involving history involving the Americas Cup Regatta and feature wine for sailors! The wine is amazing and the grounds are beautiful for a picnic.

Another good experience

By Ian B |

Easy to find, nice grounds and tasting room, friendly & knowledgeable staff, excellent wines. What's not to like?

Excellent wine away from crowds

By Escape Moore |

I was given a bottle of their The Mariner and fell in love. Then I visited the winery and was blown away by all of the wine and joined their club. They had a bocce ball court and picnic tables.

Beautiful tasting room

By joeaespino |

Outstanding vineyard. The staff was very friendly, informative, and attentive. It’s a small family run vineyard that makes you feel right at home. And a beautiful, beautiful tasting room. I would highly recommend this place.

Not a happy camper

By Sonia H |

My husband I showed up at the winery to pick up our wine club shipment. We did not have an appointment. We asked to try a few sauvignon blancs so we could make a purchase. Our helper (Darren?) went off to fetch our wine shipment so we asked a woman (long blonde hair) behind the counter to help us. She declined, then rolled her eyes toward another tasting room employee. Darren (I hope that's his name) returned and poured a glass of sauv blanc, but the whole experience was so negative that we left and went to Quivira where we bought a case of wine. This is the first bad experience we've had at Dry Creek.

Great Vineyard and Tasting!

By Tyler J |

Fantastic wine tasting experience! The picnic grounds and winery itself are absolutely beautiful, and the barrel room where we did our tasting was great. Very quiet and relaxing, our server was wonderful (wish I could remember her name!). Fantastic wines for a fair price; we took two bottles with us. Highly recommend if you are in the Dry Creek Valley area!

Just wonderful

By Joan M |

Beautiful vinyard with an equally kind and knowledgeable staff. We went to just buy a bottle of wine and ended up having a tasting and becoming members.

Great facility, great wine

By teacherjeanne |

It is like visiting family, if they made great wine. The grounds are beautiful and the lawn/ picnic area is a great place to enjoy the afternoon.

Outstanding!

By Terry H |

Dry Creek Vineyard just keeps getting better, and better, with every visit. The new Terroir Series is just the latest in a storied history of innovative wines that keep everyone coming back for more, and anxiously waiting for what could possibly be next. Simply, Outstanding.

Wine Tasting

By avdonde |

Tasted whites first and then reds, as usual. Staff was very helpful and had great knowledge of surrounding area, climate, the soil and veritals.

Relaxed Wine Tasting

By Pinelakemo |

Was impressed by how relaxed the wine tasting was on picnic tables in a lovely garden area of the winery. Emotionally intelligent and informative guide Bob did a wonderful job making us feel comfortable with interesting tales of the winery history (including giving our Borgi dogs a bowl of water which they appreciated!) and tailored our tasting to what we liked. Introduced us to the wine club literature but wasn't pushy about it which so many wineries these days are... We ended up buying 4 bottles of wine and will no doubt look for more wine from this winery. Top notch reds and wonderfully dog friendly. Thank you from those of us who travel with our pups!

Wonderful Winery

By Paul F |

Visited the Dry Creek winery recently, first for the tasting experience and a second trip to simply relax with a glass of excellent wine in their lawn/garden area. A very nice facility in an easy to reach location. Excellent wines and very informative staff. This is a winery that should be on everyone's list for a visit.

Has a garden with tables to enjoy a bottle of wine

By William B |

The wines are excellent and there is a garden with tables to sit and enjoy a lunch with your wine. Ask for Ian or Bob in the tasting room and tell them you read about their wonderful winery in Tripadvisor and who knows they may treat to something.

Awesome Experience

By pbodhanwala |

Our group of four had an excellent experience from the wines that we were offered to the service provided by Ashley. Ashley's knowledge of the wines and the "things to do" in the area was superb. We highly recommend Dry Creek!!!

Always a great experience and value in Sonoma

By Ray L |

We have been visiting Dry Creek for 20 years and belong to their wine club. We never walk out with less than a case due to the high quality and value of their wines.
We are boaters so we love the nautical theme and history of the winery.
One of our favorite things to do is time a visit at lunch, grab a sandwich from the old store up the road and picnic on the property with a nice bottle of wine!

Wonderful Gem Winery stop in Dry Creek

By Kim W |

Just a wonderful winery experience. Dry Creek Vineyards is not only one of the pioneers of winemaking in Dry Creek, but their tasting room is beautiful, relaxed, and the wines are fantastic! Outdoor garden was an extra bonus, relaxed with picnic tables, cornhole, and outdoor tasting bar. A must stop!

Lovely outdoor seating, live music, and moderately priced great wines

By Shaun Y |

We sat outside on a grassy lawn under a tree canopy while a live jazz band was playing. Great afternoon experience. The wine tasting included friendly staff and generous pours. Excellent wines at fair prices for the area.

Always a favorite

By RBG59 |

Dry Creek Vineyard is always one of my favorite stops when I'm in Sonoma County. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the atmosphere is relaxed and serene. There is a secret garden, tables on the lawn, and a beautiful tasting room. Be sure to stop by and taste the fantastic wines and chill out with a glass in the beautiful garden setting.

Great Wine's, some if the best in Dry Creek Valley!

By Ira G |

I was very pleased to find my way back up to Healdsburg and then the Dry Creek Valley area; one of Sonoma Counties most beautiful valleys.
After renewing my expired wine club membership, we truly were able to enjoy some great wines and leave with a good number of fantastic Zins and Cabs. This winery is one of my all time favorites in all of California and is a must visit location if you are in the area. Plus, the team in the wine tasting room could not be more friendly, knowledgeable and fun!

Great wines. Great visit.

By Janet_SD1 |

What a great place to taste fine wines. It's a beautiful setting under the trees.
For a picnic or just for excellent wine tasting. This family vineyard has been around for more than fifty years providing terrific wines. Don't miss them if you're in Sonoma County.

Family get together

By Mauro1990 |

We made the appointment at 3pm for wine tasting and our table was ready as we came in. Nick was our host. He was very professional and extremely knowledgeable of the wines we tasted. Great addition to your team!! This was a special day for us because one of our guests has never been wine tasting in her 67+ years! She LOVED the wines and the garden.
Since we were the last group for the day, we were given the right to eat our snacks. Thanks Ian🍷.
I have been a wine club member for many years and the wines are still best!!!! The “Caroling” was great addition to our tastings.

Beautiful winery, great tasting wines

By Carolyn H |

We have been drinking Dry Creek Zins for many years. We finally joined and try to stop by when we are in the area. The staff is always very friendly, explained the wines and their characteristics and take time to answer questions. It's a lovely setting both inside and outside. With so many wineries it's hard to pick the "best' but this is a definite winery to stop in and enjoy many good wines.

Fantastic staff serving great Dry Creek Valley wines!

By Thomas K |

This is always one of our stops when we find ourselves in the area. The staff is always polite and very knowledgeable. Love the wines, especially their Meritage (Bordeaux blend).

Great Tour and Wine Tasting

By Jamie L |

My husband and I had a wonderful tour of Dry Creek with our lovely guide, Jim. Jim was incredibly knowledgeable, but also approachable and helped us think through our own preferences. After our tour of the vineyard, we had a wonderful time sitting amongst beautiful wine barrels and tasting some more wine. We had such a great time that we ended up joining the wine club at Dry Creek! Highly recommend, and thank you for a great day - we look forward to coming back again soon!

Outstanding Tasting Experience

By JJB |

This experience was the best that we had on this trip. The wines were very good. Sarah took the experience to the next level! She was very knowledgeable and shared so much with us. We can really appreciate what we were tasting and what went into the wine making thanks to Sarah. She did not pressure us to buy wines but found us the best deal when we chose to purchase some.

We definitely will be back on our next visit to Sonoma.

Perfect

The BEST Social Distance Wine Tasting

By Sally Freeman |

My boyfriend and I went to a seated tasting during COVID and were beyond impressed by their social distance wine tasting set up! The picnic tables were at least 15 feet apart and the server wore a mask the entire time. We felt super comfortable and are so thankful to have found Dry Creek! Highly recommend!

Great wine tasting experience!

By Joseph S |

Wine was great, great price points and a beautiful setting! Love the trees ringing the outdoor seating area.

A wonderful holiday dinner!

By Linda M |

We had the pleasure of attending Dry Creek Vineyard's Holiday Dinner last Saturday. They had the dinner in the barrel room. It was decorated beautifully, turning it into a wonderful dinner venue. The food was fantastic, and arrived hot which doesn't always happen when serving a large group. They had a great band with dancing and of course the wine served was the best! We were able to purchase one of the special wines they were pouring. What a great evening. This event is for wine club members only--so glad we are members.

Excellent wines, knowledgeable guide, beautiful setting

By CincyRob |

We have been enjoying Dry Creek wines from our shop in Ohio for several years, so decided to take a tour and tasting while at the Brian Culbertson Jazz Getaway in Napa. This is a historically important family owned winery, with excellent wines across a broad range of tastes at reasonable prices. Our tour guide, Bob Antoniuc, was very knowledgeable about both the winery and its wines. The tour was detailed, and the tasting covered 5 of their direct ship wines -- all excellent and nicely priced ($25-$65 per bottle). We were impressed enough to join their wine club (our first such commitment). A visit in June is nice - we were the only ones on the tour so got the full treatment and had plenty of time for questions. Much better than the crowds of August - October.

Best wine tasting experience

Wine was the highlight of our visit, thanks to our amazing host, Paige, who made the visit even more memorable.

Excellent wine stop

By Travelin KP |

Wonderful winery and amazing staff. Dropped by to taste a few Zinfandels and left with more than a few bottles. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Winery is less than a three minute drive off the Dry Creek exit of hwy 101. Would be a great stop if biking in the area too.

One of the best!

Dry Creek Vineyard is one of the best tasting rooms around. In the middle of the best wine country in the U.S., Dry Creek continues to excel in fantastic wines, friendly staff, and beautiful grounds. Bring a picnic lunch and savor the day. It just doesn't get any better than this for a wine-tasting experience.

Excellent red wine tasting.

Great tasting with Paige, who gave us excellent customer service and is very knowledgeable about all the wines. She tailored our tasting to our preferences. She is a great ambassador for Dry creek Vineyard.

Surprisingly good

By Arnie R |

OK, it's a large winery and we were expecting indifferent service and, well, a tasting room experience not all that great. Wrong! Great service, sweet staff, nice pours, a fun experience. Just outside of Healdsburg so Dry Creek is a good option to visit. It was recommended to us because we were interested in trying Chenin Blanc. We wound up shipping home a case of their fume blanc. Really, really nice!

Wine tasting at Dry Creek Vineyard

We both thoroughly enjoyed this visit. We found our server to be very knowledgeable and took extra time to share a lot of extra information about each of the wines. Would definitely return!

Ian is very informative

We visited with a friend who is a member and we got talking with Ian. He was very passionate about the winery and the process of making the wine. A fun visit.

Great wine from great people

We stopped in after receiving a recommendation from the staff at Ridge Vineyards. Despite arriving only a half-hour before they closed, they accommodated us with a full tasting. Their staff were friendly and knowledgable and the wines were excellent. We felt welcomed and not at all rushed and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful tasting, great ambience, delicious wine!

We enjoyed the tasting at Dry Creek. The gardens are delightful, the grounds as well. The vine covered tasting room is beautiful, inside and out. We had a wonderful experience learning about and tasting the wines. Our wine ambassador was fun, knowledgeable and gracious. Wines were amazing!!

We happen to be in Dry Creek Valley the day the last fire started. Due to power outages and fire, we were very limited to which wineries were open. We had been to Dry Creek Winery before and enjoyed it so we decided to go back and visit again as they were open. We thouroughly enjoyed our visit. The staff were in good spirits even with the uncertainty of what was transpiring. They went through there wines and were very knowledgeable about all of their wines. The Zinfandel and Cabs were especially good. Joined the wine club and bought a case of wine. A very enjoyable afternoon, glad we stopped in again.

Amazing wines! A must do. We love Pinot, but like many wine varietals. Loved their Chenin Blanc and Estate Zin.

Wine tasting and lunch

By Brian C |

I really like the winery grounds for a picnic. Lots of shade and quite setting. They have an offering of lunch and wine tasting which was perfect for us.

We like this area for the old vine zinfandel and red blends. They do an excellent job with these types of wines. One interesting offering was a rose made from zinfandel grapes.

Love this Vineyard!

We've visited many wineries in our 25 plus year in California and joined a number of wine clubs. Dry Creek is one of our favorites. It's lovely grounds, super friendly staff and delicious wines makes it a "must visit" if your in the area.

The wine club doesn't lock you into big monthly purchases - I think we get 2 bottles a quarter and this entitles you to going to great winery events (often for free - like th fantastic barrel tasting event in Februrary.) Free music, food, wine and lovely people.... perfect weekend trip!

Laugh Riot and Relaxing

This is one of my favorite hangouts in the Dry Creek Valley. I absolute love the wide range of red wines they have, the knowledgeable crew and the lovely yard. Paige was a tour de force as she guided us through her own personal wine journey. Thanks to everyone at DCV.

French Garden Party

Great time to get away from the city life and enjoy the company of Dry Creek Vineyards Team. The wines poured were terrific as always. The crepes were delicious except that the vendor should of have more help, because they were very popular and the line was too long. Also a suggestion and please don’t take it the wrong way but vendors who sell knives or any other items that might cause harm might be a good idea not to have them. Too much violence in our society is present today.
We purchased a case of mixed wines, my wife’s favorite, Fume Blanc And Rose Zin and picked up our Club wines.
Thank you to your great staff for being courteous.

Dry Creek Vineyard, A must stop Winery destination!

Dry Creek Vineyard - after all these years of being a member (25+ years) I see why we have never left this winery or club. Ian, Darrin and Paige make our/your visit here truly amazing and today was no different. The Wine, The Grounds and The Courtyard are just so welcoming that you never want to leave. This is a Wonderful stop along the Dry Creek wine road and a really fun destination not to be missed, it’s just like being home. The wines are all top notch and I’m sure you will enjoy and be amazed by them.

Wine tasting

Dry Creek one of our favorite wines. Tasting was great fun and walked away with some outstanding wines.

Light tasting pours

By Ray d |

The tasting pours were literally in grams. So tight with your wines. We wanted to purchase more wine but was not allowed to taste anything off the tasting list.

Perfect place to taste with friends! Great wines, great atmosphere!

By K-K |

We enjoyed the tasting in the cellar room - beautiful! The server (Page) was knowledgeable, fun and tuned in quickly to what we liked, suggesting a taste of something extra (and didn't charge) that turned our to be exactly what we were looking for. We loved the family history and how it still stays true today with several wines named after their children. Tasting room manager (Ian) stopped by for a chat, super nice (in photo). The outdoor space is great for bringing a snack and enjoying the lawn with chairs and tables, and now you can order charcuterie with your tasting. Prices for really great wines resulted in several bottles going home with us! We'll be back...with friends!
