Wife and I played tourist for the day and took the trip to the top deck (102) on the Empire State Building. Very interesting facts and views. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Would recommend for all to see this for yourself.

Amazing experience at this NYC icon. Interesting and thrilling. We climbed the stairs from level 80 -86 which is quite a workout, but worth the effort and gets you to the observation deck without waiting in line for the elevator. The views of the city are spectacular.
Some of the guides would benefit from a customer service refresher course!

Over all a great experience Monday morning perfect timing so happy to be able to do it we loved to go back sharing this experience with my granddaughter are lifetime memories .

I took my wife to NYC for her first time. We had a list of things to do and see during our short visit. We were staying in Times Square but wanted to visit the Empire State Building and decide from there which part of the city we wanted to explore.
The staff at the Empire State Building were amazing. Not your typical New Yorkers. They were all friendly and clearly seemed to love their jobs.
We visited while it was slow but even if it was busy there were plenty of really great exhibits showing how the building was built many years ago. This would keep you busy during your wait to go upstairs.
There was a very sweet lady on the top floor and she suggested that we walk to the WTC instead of Central Park. Her suggestion was just what we wanted!
Congrats to the guy running the show, Devin.
This place is amazing.

We decided to do the observation deck on Thanksgiving morning. We went at 11:30. It was a little hard to get to the building because of the road closures for the Macy’s parade. It was not too crowded. We really enjoyed the historical exhibits they have as you wind your way through line. The 86 floor was gorgeous. We tried to upgrade to the 102 floor but they were already sold out. If you’re interested in going to the 102nd floor, it would be good to book that with your original ticket.

We booked the premium experience and Renita was our guide for the morning. She was fantastic. She gave us so many cool stories about the history of the building and the history of the city. It was a one of a kind experience.

A fabulous experience. A must do while in the city! You can see for miles it seems like. All staff are very helpful and kind. Thank you Dusty & Michelle on a sister trip

Paris has the Eiffel Tower, Sydney has the Opera House…New York has the Empire State Building. Our hotel suite looked out at it and from all over the city it is there to behold. We saw it at sunrise, sunset and putting on a magic light show every night. Then on my birthday we visited it and the breathtaking views it offers. The Empire State Building has a sole. I hope to see it again someday soon as I miss it terribly.

Me and my parents went in August 25. We messed up our tickets, and Sharon B, a wonderful worker helped us so much. We are so grateful.

Made a quick stop at this modern wonders of the world. The views were absolutely worth it! Standing at 1,454 feet, it’s incredible to think this was once the tallest building in the world for nearly 40 years.

We visited in 2019 and enjoyed it as much this time. Compared to other observatories The Empire State experience will still remain my favourite as there is lots to see and learn about the history.

We bought tickets in advance and I’m glad I did because it was fairly busy the day we went. We did a sunset booking, so we got to see the views from the top at sunset and after sunset, when all of the city was lit up! Breathtaking views atop an iconic structure!
Interesting history and beautiful, informative displays inside. This was my second time in the city and this should definitely beyond your must do list!

The experience is to be made up to the 102nd floor the view is breathtaking of New York
For a trip there you absolutely must go

Hello travelers, I’m a native New Yorker who always wanted to visit the Empire State Building. During the Premium VIP Experience I was guided by Renita who gave the best tour of the building. She personalized the tour for me and two other guests, always referring to us by our first names. She showed us the history of the building with facts and photos of its origin/construction and showed us all around different floors, took the best photos of us, escorted us to both observatories on the 86th and 102nd floors giving us ample time to experience the beautiful heights. The tour was an awesome blend of the past and present states of the famous Empire State Building. It’s not just about the amazing observatory views but about how the building came to be. This tour brings the building to life-and no waiting on lines!

Easy access
Helpful staff members
Clean and well presented
Well worth visiting the 102nd floor
Fabulous views
Be prepared for security

This was the best VIP tour and worth every penny. Renita made our experience exceptional. When you come in, you have to ask for her as your tour guide. She has also a gifted photographer. And her passion and love the Empire State building just shines through.

No lines, and a great opportunity to view the City that never sleeps after sunset. The film was very informative and the displays were great

Sharon B. Was the most positive interaction we’ve ever had in our 5+ times visiting the Empire State building. Very helpful and hospitable. She deserves a raise!

Thanks to HENRY for his sympathy and professionnalism. Thé visit was a great experience. Empire State building is certainly thé place to ne in NY.

The Empire State Building is a must-visit in New York City! The views from the observation deck are absolutely breathtaking you can see the entire Manhattan skyline and beyond. The building itself is an iconic piece of architecture with a rich history. Staff were well-organized and the lines moved quickly. Sunrise is especially magical. Highly recommend

It was great! First we had a booking problem! Thank you for your wonderfull help, Sharon!!! We will come back for sure!!!!!

Another bucket listing item. We went at 7pm on a Friday night and virtually no crowds. Bought tickets at counter. Others had suggested that paying extra for floor 102 was a bit of a waste and expensive. Not cheap to get yo 86 floor. Museum style items on way up and the video of building the structure on elevator roof as you want up was a great novelty.
Loved the King Kong and other famous movies section
Views are spectacular at night. I imagine you see more in daylight. So try for sunset to get both world but friends have said lines at busy times can be a hour.

If you want to see New York from above and certainly a historic building you have to visit the empire state building. A piece of American history. On the 86th floor you can go out onto a balcony and take outdoor photos. Not the most beautiful observatory in New York but worth it.

We chose the 8:30 PM option in June and it was perfect timing to catch the sunset views. I took my daughter because I remember visiting and I wanted to share the view with her. The King Kong section is awesome. ESB offers much more than just views - the history is interesting, the elevator going up is cool, there is a lounge and it's just a great place to hang out with plenty of photo ops. No wonder it is in so many movies...it is magical. I know there is Summit One and The Edge...but stick with the main observatory deck in NYC...it does not disappoint and always delivers...the Empire State Building is THE place to go in NYC...and this was my third visit <3!

My grandchildren were immediately captivated by Katherine our tour guide. She lead us through a massive crowd to the have a great view of the Statue of Liberty all the while giving us interesting and fun facts about NY and the history of the statue. From there we continued on to Ellis Island and once again Katherine kept their attention. She walked us through each room and explained the difficulties the immigrants faced as they sought out a life in America. Best tour we have ever taken!

We had booked a time slot in advance on the internet and arrived at our admission time. The entrance was simply through the stage. The staff were all very helpful and showed you the right way. On the way to the elevator, you pass exhibits that explain the history of the construction of the Empire State Building, as well as the mention of the building in literature, television and film. Also beautiful are the exhibits where you can take beautiful pictures of yourself.
After 2 elevator rides in the 80th and 86th. On the first floor you have an incredible panoramic view of the city. Im 80. Floor out the windows and on the 86th floor. Stock then without glass.
Overall a nice experience, at just under $55 per adult but also not a cheap pleasure.

We went 5pm December time so all lit up in the evening. Was expensive but so luxurious and lots of info. Very organised and worth it esp when you get to 102nd floor.. personally the price is expensive but you get make the most of the experience, in all it took about 2hrs from start to finish, even gift shops, can have pics with you and King Kong hand. And professional pic as soon as you walk in with empire state behind you. Would of been nice if you could get a cocktail whilst on 102nd floor Very awe inspiring when at the very top.

All the staff were very nice and was a fun experience. My teenager even enjoyed himself. Great photo opportunities during the day and night.

This is really excellent! Superb welcome from one of the hostesses. She helped us well and informed us during our purchases of different PASS.
Beautiful views! To do absolutely!

This tour was amazing!! I would very highly recommend. The views at each stop are breathtaking and so worth the trip!!!!

There are no words to describe this iconic building…but I’ll try to in a short summary
On our last day, we had a spare 4 hours until our airport pick up. We walked to the Empire State Building & didn’t book to go to the observation deck, but we decided whilst we were there, we might as well. They always say the best experiences, are sometimes unplanned ones…
The lead up to the observation deck is fantastic, staff well organised with queues of people & it never felt crowded whilst we were there.
Once we got outside, I actually cried at the stunning views. To know you’re on top of the one most iconic buildings in the world, is emotionally overwhelming.
Can see the city from all viewpoints & everyone is happy taking pictures for one another.
It’s truly one of the best experiences of my life, and I can’t wait to come back to see the city at night

Here we discover the hot water... it is one of the symbols of the most iconic city on earth .. if you are on holiday in New York you have to touch the sky with a finger .. sure the price is high .. me and my 14-year-old son paid 150 dollars to climb up to the 102nd floor but believe me ... IT WAS WORTH IT

Rental is an extremely valuable employee. Knowledgeable, friendly, and highly professional. Great asset employee enhanced our experience. Please duplicate her. Her dazzling smile is so warm to all visitors.

A truly unforgettable experience! I felt like I was on top of the world, with breathtaking 360-degree views of New York City. The exhibits were fascinating, showcasing the building's rich history and construction. Welcoming and pleasant staff, exceptional service.
Overall, my visit to the Empire State Building was an exhilarating experience that left me with lifelong memories. If you're planning a trip to New York City, this iconic landmark is an absolute must-visit!

It was great. First time at Empire State Building
Would’ve been a 5 star if the employee was nice enough to take our picture.

managed to go up the Empire State thanks to the helpful assistance of Yolanda, who patiently and kindly convinced me and accompanied me all the way to the top. I suffer from claustrophobia and thought I wouldn’t be able to do it, but Yolanda helped me so much! I 100% recommend the visit!!
Totally worth it!!!

This building is amazing. If you love movies related to it, especially King Kong, you will really enjoy this experience. They have added new features and continue to update and add more. I love it!

A Must see when visiting NYC right? Well we tried when we last came 15 years ago, but weather was too poor to see anything. This time, however much different. The queue was big, even with pre booked tickets at 10AM, but staff was friendly and informative and queues quickly disappeared. All the way up there is LCD screens with information and history, and plenty of photo opportunities. At the top, the views are stunning. we have been to taller buildings but nothing compares to the skyline of NYC. The whole experience was about 1 hour and well worth it. It was stunning!

Amazing views. Well worth a visit.
We did a night visit and it was great to see the city at night. Virtually no queue to get in, so glad I didn’t pay the extra for express service.
Lots to see as going around with interactive photo opportunities.
Went to 86 floor, there’s no need really to go right to the top for the views. Great skyline photos and views.
Used Go City ticket to enter so save on entrance fee.
Would recommend.

I booked 4 Tickets through the Empire State Building website, it was seamless. We had a 12:30 slot. There’s plenty of options, just pick the 86th Floor and the Top observation deck. Pass-up the express option. It was a Friday afternoon and it wasn’t chopper-block with people.
Once you get through the queue it’s a fantastic experience. There’s an interactive museum with artwork, artifacts, photo opportunities and tons of displays to explore. They have a room that’s wall to wall with monitors that depict trailers, movies and just about everything that was filmed on the premises. I was impressed. Followed by what else, a gift shop like no other.
You will find some great stuff there. Afterwards, the journey continues. Once you exit the 86th Floor, (which is inside) you’ll see panoramic views of Manhattan.
Heads-up, in order to avoid glare when taking pictures, press your phone directly on the glass and you’ll get a clearer picture. This is a bonus😁
Next stop the 102nd Observation Deck. The views are amazing, majestic and stunning. On a clear day you’ll be awarded with how beautiful and vast New York is.
The Empire State Building is a bucket list must. We had a wonderful time and so will you.
Thanks Tripsters,
Chef Edwin Padilla
Good Food…Good Vibes

My family had the best experience ever with Sharon! She's been so friendly and helpful all the time. She helped us create a wonderful experience and memory in the Empire State building!

The total highlight of my trip to New York. Everything about it was great - super well organised, interesting displays, amazing views, friendly staff.
We used tickets from New York City Pass and had pre-booked our time slot. It was very busy as expected, but it didn’t take very long in any queues at all. You did need to wait a moment to be able to get right to the front of the view, but not in all places - the longest queue was to pay in the shop.
This was the best organised and best value for money of everything we did, an absolute must-see experience!

Of course, what is not to be missed in the Big Apple is a visit to the Empire State Building. They make a good introduction and also show various film sequences. That's where you inevitably remember the movies. It was a great and impressive experience. I would do this again on another visit.

I had a good time at the 86th floor of the Empire State building. The view was incredible, despite the fact it was cloudy when I was up there. I booked my reservation at 8:30 through their official website, so I was able to skip ahead of the line outside. The staff are pleasant and attentive. Sharon, specifically, was very helpful to me and even took some photos of me before it got crowded with guests. If you haven't been here yet, definitely come check it out, the view is unlike anything else in NYC.

Oh my goodness the views were impeccable! It was worth every peeny. Charisma was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

The Empire State Building is truly beautiful! The views of New York City from the observation deck are breathtaking, and it’s an iconic experience you can’t miss. Whether day or night, the skyline is unforgettable. A must-visit landmark in New York

Such an amazing experience and the views were awesome!!! It was more than just the building had lots of other great exhibits that were just as amazing.

After waiting in line to enjoy the beautiful views of the city. Seeing on all sides. This will give you a good idea of what the floor plan is like.

We paid quite a bit for the upgraded ticket. It was worth it to be able to go to deck 102, but the crowds were still very dense. The idea that it was a fast track was not very well executed. It allowed us to bypass maybe one line. So, overall, if you're not set on going past deck 86, I would skip the upgrade. As far as the experience goes, I think everyone should go to the ESB at least once since you get quite a viewpoint of the city.

The charm of Empire is already felt at the entrance of the building. Star of numerous successful films, recalled in an elegant way, in addition to the photographic reconstruction of the progress of the building... in addition to the panorama ...
see all of New York! Recommended!

Devin Cates, he was delighted, funny and very friendly with my husband and I, thank you for have made my night with your help and made us feel welcomed.

The Empire State is a very impressive building. We managed to see the sunset which was fantastic. I liked learning about the history of the building.

Sunset ticket- no crazy queue
Lovely staff
Great views and vibe at the top
Due the cold their are heaters located outside

The magnificent entrance to this building already tells you that it will be a super cool experience. There are several videos and explanations.
Highly recommended

It was well organized, all the employees were informative and helpful. The views are beautiful. We loved the Kingkong experience, the walking self-tour was most impressive

We went to see the view from the 86th floor. We had booked tickets in advance. There was no wait to get inside. We enjoyed the short museum tour about the history of the Empire state building, as well as how it haa been potrayed in popular culture. The view was spectacular - good for taking fotos because there is not glass infront. The only minus about our visit was that we could not find a place where to have a drink

Classic viewpoint of NY and the oldest. We buy tickets at Civitatis and enter without queues, directly. It makes 2 stops, first floor 82 with a corner of King Kong to take photos, plus the main history of its construction since you enter.
Then you go upstairs to the 86th floor and out to the viewpoint. Very nice, you always have to get one in NY

We did a Premium Experience tour of this iconic building in NYC. Definitely well worth the extra expense. Our guide, Renita, was absolutely fantastic. She went above and beyond what we had expected on this tour, answering all our curly questions and sharing her extensive knowledge of the building. We had access to parts of the building that the general public don’t normally have. This was the best tour we have done. Would highly recommend this tour which was booked direct through the Empire State Building official website.

Absolutely stunning views across the city. Plenty of time to take as many pictures as we wanted. Very well organised with helpful staff. Highly recommended.

The view here is great and we get to see our pictures we took, the Empire State Building was very great, and the staff were very friendly and helpful I am 11 years

The 84th floor of the Empire State Building (ESB) was actually nice, giving a view fo NYC and part of New Jersey. There was a huge crowd, which did not affect the trip. But, after visiting Skydeck in Chicago, this building will not intrest you. Otherwise, it's a popular tour destination, worth visiting.

Views of NYC trying to identify key landmarks.
Well organised and a great overall experience. Would recommend ..........

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I recently visited the Empire State Building and had the pleasure of having Gerard Holguín as our guide. He was truly outstanding! Gerard was not only very knowledgeable but also made the entire tour fun, engaging, and memorable. He explained everything with such passion and patience, and you could tell he genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great experience. His friendly attitude and professionalism really stood out. Thank you, Gerard, for making my visit extra special—I couldn’t have asked for a better guide!

We went on the extended tour which included the 86th and 102nd floors. It is pretty neat to see the 102nd floor view, but if you are pressed for time or scared of tippy top heights (you're inside for the 102nd, and can go both outside or stay inside for the 86th) you won't be disappointed with just the 86th floor. It's like a museum tour along the way, where there are many displays that you can read to learn more. This was not a guided tour for us, and we still really enjoyed it.
It was clean, well organized, and we got some incredible photos! I think it might be coolest to see this before sunrise or as it's getting dark so you have some light in the sky while the building lights are coming on! We went in the middle of the day, and it was super-windy on the 86th floor, so just be prepared!

Fantastic service very helpful clean and tidy not to busy and the weather was great so could see for miles
Also like the heaters outside

My family had a great visit. The timing of going Thanksgiving Day was not a good idea as it was packed. Our original tickets were a couple of days prior to that but had to be changed due to the weather.

First of all I have to say that the staff of this experience are TOP KNOTCH Ambassadors to the World! They treated everyone with kindness and dignity, they were helpful and friendly. If everyone coming to America went here they would meet the kindest Americans in the country!
The museum is hands on to teach young and old alike about the importance of this historic building.
Nothing can top the AMAZING views from the observation deck. Breathtaking and inspiring views. You must come here to see this

We had a perfectly clear, but chilly day to see the city, and the overhead heaters were a nice bonus! Staff were professional and courteous. Lines were long but things moved along pretty well.

Great experience, well worth a look while in New York. Quick to get in, and its amazing how much the city has changed since the last time I was there

Great overall experience. Well organized. Sean was a wonderful tour guide that really brought the experience to life. Loved his very personal stories and animated presentation!

Really well organised, no queuing and loved the views. Plenty of opportunities to take nice photos and not too busy. We booked the next slot when stood outside.

WE took our family to the observation deck for sunset one evening. While it was a bit crowded for the sunset, the staff were able to keep elevators moving, lines flowing, and get everyone to the top to enjoy the sunset. The views are obviously spectacular! We enjoyed our time looking around the 'museum' component as well. Very historical and informative. Best part, when we left later in the evening the lobby was not crowded and we had the opportunity to grab some photos in the iconic lobby while it was uncrowded! Bonus! Highly recommend this attraction for families, couples, and groups of any size!

Visiting the Empire State Building was one of the highlights of my trip to New York City. From the moment you walk in, everything feels iconic — the Art Deco design, the smooth organization, and the sense of history around you. The elevators are fast, and once you reach the observation deck, the views are absolutely breathtaking. Seeing the Manhattan skyline, Central Park, and the city lights from above is something you never forget.
The staff were helpful and kept things moving efficiently, even with crowds. I especially enjoyed taking my time on the deck and soaking in the 360-degree views — day or night, it’s worth it.
If you’re planning your visit or looking for tickets and experiences around NYC, saverseats.store is a great place to check. It helped me find options easily and made the planning process simple.
Overall, the Empire State Building is a classic New York experience and 100% worth adding to your itinerary. Highly recommended for first-time visitors and repeat travelers alike.

Stunning view.
Iconic skyscraper.
If I had to choose only one observatory in New York I would definitely choose this one.

Excellent experience, all went very smoothly, very helpful staff at every level. So much history and information about the Empire State building, great views of Manhattan in all directions.
Highly recommend.

Sharon took some beautiful pics for me! Thank you Sharon for helping keep take photos. Good staff and good services!! Thanks.

Fabulous learning experience for the grandkids. Beautiful view of NYC for young first timers. Excellent staff, particularly Rinati on the top. She was great! VIP pass is the way to go.

What a fantastic experience. Our guide Siobhan was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the building and took us to loads of behind the scenes areas not usually accessible to visitors. We learned so much more about this iconic building, avoided all the queues and had dedicated elevators. This was the highlight of our visit to NYC. VIP tour definitely worth the extra cost if you can find it in your budget.

The Empire State Building is iconic for good reason — it’s one of New York’s most legendary landmarks and an essential stop for any visitor. The panoramic views from the top are absolutely breathtaking, offering a stunning perspective of the city skyline that’s hard to beat.
Beyond the views, the building is steeped in history, with plenty of exhibits to explore, interactive displays, and great photo opportunities throughout. It’s a place where architecture, culture, and nostalgia come together beautifully.
As one of the most famous attractions in the city, it does get quite busy, so be prepared for crowds — especially during peak hours. But the experience is well worth it.

One of the most recognisable and historic buildings in America if not the world . I did this years ago it’s been livened up with exhibits and displays with some recognisable faces . The fact this was built in just over a year is amazing . It really is worth a visit

Fantastic experience minimal queues and fabulous views. We paid for 102nd floor and pleased we did to get full experience.

I ended up with a short stop off in NYC and had to tick a few bucket list items off whilst I was there, and this is one I am happy to say I did.
Okay, it's not a cheap trip - Certainly not if you upgrade and go ALLLLLLL the way to the top. But my lord is the view worth it... As long as you have a head for heights that is.
The inside of the building is immaculate, the staff so polite, and the views are just breathtaking. I have nothing bad to say about this.

For two people that are not big fans of heights.. this was far beyond our comfort zone, but it felt so safe, excellent and smooth lifts, friendly and professional staff (and thankfully no glass floors..). The views are just spectacular.

This was a wonderful day & going higher this time to 102nd floor was amazing & great views. Not to be missed. Easy to book with trip advisor & good communication.

The building and the museum have been impressively beautiful and the views too, in addition to the fact that they had heating in the open areas BUT the staff was HORRIBLE AND THE WORST they treated EVERYONE BADLY and with contempt, they spoke in a bad tone to everyone and with arrogance, that or they didn't even look you in the face.

Our pass didn't work when we tried to enter in the Empire State Building. In fact, we were in the wrong place for the rendez-vous with the guide. We would like to thanks very much Hailen which is an employee from the Empire State Building : She kindly helped us to meet the guide and saved our entry. She was very competent and helpful. Many thanks !!

Suggest buying a ticket that allows re-entry in the evening as the view is so different at night, we went at 10.30am and 8.30pm all on the same ticket. The queue can be confusing if you are there for the opening, but does move quickly once open. Being from the UK be prepared for the airport style security check as you enter, not something we see much at attractions in the UK

The experience was awesome Sharon B one of the attendant was superb she was so helpful and wonderful the Empire State is a must see if visiting NYC

The view was beautiful and Siobhan was really helpful and very kind. If you happen to talk to her, you'll be really lucky. Thank you Siobhan!! Until next time

Verry, verry, beautiful view. Ticket prices were fare. It wasn't too packed. It was so fun, and wonderful, great to visit. Everyone was so kind, polite, and professional. Just want to give some special rec. to Chris V, from the gift shop, who not only helped me check out and wrap up my stuff very well, but also was a great help in recommending some great food places where we were heading next. Another thanks to the tall elevator worker, I didn't catch his name, but he did help keep my family together so that we weren't separated in different elevators. Thank you all!!!!!!!!!!!

We had an amazing experience with the best tour guide Renita. The experience is amazing and a must for eveyone wanting to see the city! What a special experience. We watched Renita coach a little girl to the glass in such a sweet kind voice! Just a lovely human!

Come for the views, and stay for the Art Deco beauty, and the well done history lesson. The entire experience can provide detailed history and superb views. You can breeze through if you want to get to the views, or take your time and learn about the social impact and importance of this iconic building.
If you are in a hurry, you can purchase an express pass. If you have more time, save that money, and pay the lesser ticket price to see all three observation decks.
We even went in on the lunch deal offered by a nearby restaurant!

End of day, perfect time for sunset over New York. The view of Manhattan at night is magical and unforgettable. Not to be missed!

I had the privilege of taking a solo tour of the Empire State Building with Renita Edmond and it was one of the best experiences of my trip. The moment she realized I was on my own, she went above and beyond to make the tour feel personal, engaging, and unforgettable.
Renita has an incredible gift for storytelling — she didn’t just share facts, she painted the history and meaning of the building in a way that made me feel connected to it. Her passion, warmth, and humor brought the entire experience to life. What stood out most was her kindness and attentiveness — she made sure I felt completely comfortable, never rushed, and truly valued as a guest.
By the end of the tour, I didn’t just walk away with amazing views and knowledge, I walked away feeling like I had shared a one-of-a-kind experience with someone who genuinely loves what she does.
If you’re lucky enough to get Renita as your guide, especially for a solo tour, you’re in for something truly special.

Lovely view, snowed as well which made it more magical, however seemed very disorganised and overcrowded, definitely worth seeing.

There are many new observers, but the Empire, the view it offers at night for its location that allows you to see both the Avenues and the Hudson is really something not to be missed. Not too crowded, sunset aside, offers ample space. The mesh has very loose meshes, you can slip on or even rest the camera lens for more stability in night photos. Must-see stop

This was so much better than anticipated. Loved the 'museum' part with the history and interactive displays. Lots of photo opportunities. The views from the 80th floor were incredible. The windows were spotless so able to take super photos. Views from 86th floor were just as amazing.

This was amazing! We bought tickets 4:45pm to the 86th and the 102nd observation decks. By the time we went through the museum portion (very interesting) it was dark and we could see lights going in forever. Such beautiful views from all sides.

Just a little too crowded to see much but beautiful and it was a clear day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a disappointment. We arrived for our timeslot only to be told we had to join the end of the que with everyone else (regardless of whether or not we had tickets). Staff were so unfriendly, no welcome and just kettled you towards the lifts - of which you have to take 2 to get to the top.
You visit the Museum first so if you’re hoping to do sunset factor in you need an hour before you actually want to be up on the platform. There was no opportunity to visit the Museum after. Once we made it up to the top 1/4 was sectioned off for an event we had not been notified of when we booked our tickets and staff were snappy trying to keep the area clear.
There are better skyline views in NYC including top of the rock and my favourite the world trade observatory. I’d recommend check out these before you waste your money on this.

Loved everything about this experience. I want to especially thank Bibi in the gift shop for the special attention given to us.

The view from the Empire State Building is always wonderful but you don’t need to buy the most expensive ticket with admission just before sunset because no one will send you away once on the terrace anyway. For this reason I do not give a rating higher than 3/5.

It remains in my opinion the iconic skyscraper of Manhattan not to be missed. He was really excited. Also excellent gift shop at the exit

Sublime. And early in the morning there aren't many people. Staff very nice. Really a crush. I'd love to do it again at night.

Sunset VIP tour with Gerard! Highly recommend! He is funny, informative, personable, and made us feel like real VIPs going through the building and to the observation decks.

Wonderful experience, well worth the price of admission. The museum offered a full historical perspective, and the observation deck is incredible. Loved it. Wonderful service from the staff.

Hustle free entry, had a wonderful experience. NYC looks more amazing from 102 floor. Can't wait to visit again. Empire State Building is, was and will be always close to my heart.

Spent a fun afternoon here. You can buy tickets there which was helpful as we were not sure when it would fit into our schedule. Amazing views and the staff from getting your ticket, security, elevator rides, everywhere, kind and professional.

A must for all visitors to New York. We had reserved in advance, so there was no queue and the visit was feasible without stress. The view was indescribable. We were at the Empire State Building by nightfall.

My daughter wanted to see the sunset from the Empire State Building with her friends, we missed the sunset but they had an amazing time,, we all had a great time ❤️

It was an amazing experiencie, we leand and saw the all NY points of view. And also the Empire state history

I did this experience on Tuesday 26/11, trying to book in time to enjoy the sunset at altitude.
I leave you some useful info not to make mistakes, as happened to me.
I booked for 4:00 p.m. but it's too late. Now that you queue at the entrance, then they let you in, a path with images and models, a video projection, at the end we arrived at altitude that was dark... so advice I give you: if you want to see the sunset book the visit at 15:00, once you are on you can take a little more time.

Thank you to the Welcoming staff and especially Sharon at the Desk. The tour must be even more beautiful at sunset.
Thanks again Tom

This was truly an iconic visit! The views were exceptional and to top it off everyone wore welcoming smiles and were kind. Renita was truly an angel in human form. She took the best pictures of me and my family (not pictured) was soo kind and informative. I’m glad we got to meet her on our trip!

We had to change our tickets last minute, the site made it easy and stress-free. Then we ended up getting to the Empire State Building early but we weee able to go ahead and enter into the elevators. There were very few people there so there was no wait for anything, the views from the 86th floor and 102nd floor were gorgeous, and it was still cloudy. Don’t let the weather stop you!

Thought It was a perfect place to ask my best friend to marry me. On top of the most famous building and in the best city in the world.

An amazing iconic experience. We paid extra for the express service to skip the lines and go to the 102nd floor and it was worth every penny. At 2pm the sun was low across the sky, which was crystal clear. The outdoor heaters kept us warm and for a Saturday it was not too busy at all. Munching on some nini doughnuts we spent a couole of hours looking across the five states and picking out all the New York spots below us. All the staff were first class, friendly, informative and nothing too much trouble.

This time we booked the combination ticket including the 102 floor and we were absolutely thrilled.
The staff were extremely friendly and the story and animations at the stairs were stunning.
The view was sensational. We will come back.

Friendly staff vans breathtaking views well worth the visit. Blue skies helped with the experience. Really got to see all the panoramic sites

The museum and observation deck were great! Fantastic views of the city and its landmarks. Highly recommend. We could do everything at our pace and weren’t rushed through.

Such a beautiful experience, I definitely recommend to go early as possible to avoid crowds and give time to look at everything. Upon checking out at the gift shop see Charisma she was the friendliest and most helpful person on the entire Empire State Building trip!

Would recommend, friendly and helpful staff. Easy to book online and the interactive exhibits were fantastic. Great day out

Fascinating building, it is really the symbol of NYC, thinking that the immigrants made it risking their life is thrilling me!
The personnel was passionate and friendly, I have to thank, deeply, Yolanda who works there with a broad smile, because she made my experience even more unforgettable! Great worker and person!
360º experience, then! I would come back immediately!

Best experience ever... nice to be up there looking down seeing all of new york. Went solo but Kayla was nice enough to take my Pic. 🥰

This was a huge bucket-list moment and absolutely worth every minute. Seeing the Empire State Building in person gives you a completely different appreciation compared to what you see in the movies. The lead-up to the top is fantastic, with a well-presented mini-museum that adds to the excitement before the elevator ride.
There’s an indoor viewing level on the 80th floor and the famous outdoor deck on the 86th floor. It was pretty cold on the day of my visit, and although there are radiant heaters outside, make sure you’re prepared if you’re going in winter. The staff were extremely professional, and their immaculate uniforms and great attitude really added to the overall experience.
This iconic landmark is an essential part of any New York trip, no exceptions. Reservations are a must if you have a specific date and time you want to visit, as it can get very busy. Highly recommend!

Loved seeing the museum. So well done, beautiful and informative. Comfortable in elevators. Views were exceptional. Beautiful day.

Must see experience to see 360 views of New York. The views were spectacular and the staff are wonderful. Make sure to do this experience and learn the history of how Empire building first established.

A great visit. We went in the evening, I was amazed that there were no queues at all. Straight in. Lots of info and things to look at one the way up - I expect designed to keep people entertained while queuing. Spectacular views 360 across NY.
Highly recommend. It’s definitely a must do.

Skipping the line is so worth it s especially if your have a busy schedule. The view ls are spectacular as is the observation desk. The extra to go right to the top is worth it.

Absolutely brilliant highly recommend
Some amazing views and we loved the Godzilla Part that was super cool
We would come back again

Wonderful to have visited this iconic building. Fantastic view from upstairs - went to the 86th floor (possibility to go to higher floor). Great view of NYC from the top; not-to-be-missed!

Great experience. A great way to see NYC and learn about the history of the building. Tickets to the 102nd observatory are extra-just so you’re aware.

We were very late in the evening, quite a bit of lust, no queuing. Unfortunately because of snowfall with not so great visibility, but still great! The staff were super nice and accommodating!

I was an amazing experience seem the city from the top of the empire states was breathtaking. I highly recommend and enjoy it

The view is the same from floor 89 and 102. The difference is, you are indoors on the 102th. It is not worth the extra money though. The staff on the 102nd offered to takes pictures of everyone, which was very nice!

Probably the most famous building in New York!! It was built in 1931.
Until 1970 it was the tallest skyscraper in the city with its 443 meters high counting the antenna and sas 102 floors.Inside there are many offices, and you can visit to be able to contemplate majestic views from the 86th floor, which is the main viewpoint being able to climb to the 102nd floor, which is the upper viewpoint You can take the entrances on the second floor of the building although it is more recommended to take the entrances before the visit!
In the building you can see exhibitions about the history of Empire state!
He Empire state is also known worldwide for his appearance in TV series and in the mythical film "King Kong"

This icon has got to be done, you will kick yourself if you don't. Wanted to visit since I was a child in the 1950s. After seeing it in so many films but mainly king Kong.

A must-see New York destination with a unique iconic charm tied to the city’s history. The shop is also worth a visit

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had an amazing experience visiting the Empire State Building. The view was breathtaking and the whole visit was very well organized. Henry was extremely kind, helpful and attentive with us. He even encouraged me to take more photos because I was a bit scared at first, and he helped us capture beautiful memories. Thank you, Henry, for the great service! 🤩

Arguably the most famous skyscraper in the world. Built in 1931, it was the tallest building in the world until 1972. Interestingly, today, it is only the 8th tallest building just even in New York. Regardless, it remains a remarkable site. It is a symbol of New York. Unmissable views of the iconic building all around the city. Ironically, one of the best views of the Empire State Building is from its rooftop observation deck competitor, the Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Plaza. Viewing the exterior is great but a trip to the top to experience the open-air observation deck is exhilarating. This is a must-do experience for any first-time visitor to NYC. It is not inexpensive and long lines can form. Admission starts at $44 but is higher during the busiest times of the year. Arrive early in the day or else plan to wait for up to 2 hours. Alternatively buy one of the obscenely priced $120 express passes to skip the line.

It goes without saying that, on a clear day at least, the views are absolutely amazing! However, especially at peak times, be prepared for lots of queuing and lots of crowds!
But, definitely worth a visit! 😁

Good couple of hours
No q’s
Friendly staff and amazing views
Would def recommend to friends and family
Me my sister and daughter enjoyed it here

Worthwhile experience. Better admission management is required. Sign says door opens at 09:00 (our ticket time. so we jumped in the line). Were then kicked out of the queue because there is evidently an 8:30 ticket also available. So we then moved to the front of the 09:00 queue as instructed. Once again we were removed and told to go to the back of the queue. (Staffer was very proud of herself and thought she had fastened onto a serial queue jumper). The situation was embarrassing and unnecessary. After that the tour was great. We had plenty of time and were still ahead of the crowds. Smoke from Canadian bush fires spoilt the view slightly.

This place was fantastic and the views were unbeatable. We did the 80th, 86th and 102nd floor and you could see great views from each of the floors. A most do when you’re in NYC.

The Empire State Building museum and observation deck was great. Having grown up in the area, I had never been to the top of the building. The view was amazing. The heat lamps were perfect for the chilly night air. The mini-fresh cooked doughnuts hit the spot. The experience was built to feel like and amusement park ride, with lines and LED screens in the elevator to educated and entertain. Like any amusement park ride there is a gift shop upon exiting. There are a lot of great options available for purchase. The staff was very helpful. A young lady named Charisma helped me checkout and ensured that I snow globes that I purchased would travel safely. If your ever get the chance to take this adventure, Take it

The staff are absolutely unfriendly. We were not let in at the entrance as I once again did not get any mail from Tripadvisor and I therefore could not access the tickets. However, the receptionist did not believe this and therefore asked me to show my emails. In all NSA fashion, she then independently searched my emails and now knows everything about my private life. As I announced there was no mail in it we were denied entry. We therefore tried to get in touch with Tripadvisor, which also failed. So we outwitted the lady at the entrance and told her we wanted to buy new tickets. After that, we were denied holy entry. Inside we were able to print the tickets using the reference number and thus finally start the adventure. At the security check, however, the next unfriendly employee should wait for us. When I took off my belt, lay in the box and put it on the ribbon I noticed that the belt had fallen out of the box. The buckle got caught in the treadmill and I noticed it scratching more and more. I apparently had the temerity to save my belt and was immediately shouted at to let it go. So I watched as my belt was slowly destroyed until said employee had to pull it out at an absolutely slow pace and slam it into my body like a piece of old bread. The bottom line is that this visit was just stressful and troubled. The view is quite OK but is absolutely not worth the effort.

Absolutely incredible, one of the best sights in NYC. The views from the top, especially the outside observatory deck was sensational.

We did an evening trip, minimal lines to get up there and the views were amazing from the 86th floor. Would recommend. This was the least busiest of all the view points we did, so was pretty chill compared to the crowds of the others.

This was a fun experience! I purchased the regular admission and is a good experience to get an overview of New York. It was pretty chilly in November, but an amazing experience to visit and to take many pictures.

This is an absolute must for anyone visiting NYC. The views are amazing you could see for miles. Just make sure you get tickets that allow you to change your booking. If the weather takes a turn for the worst it’ll ruin the experience. We had a storm that hit and we could barely see the Empire State Building and we were across the street from it. There are plenty of things to do indoors if you want to brave it. You can get your pictures/selfies in doors but it’s not the same. You can have photos taken before you go up, which is pretty good but they are expensive. The gift shop also has some good stuff which you won’t see else where.

I was lucky to pick a clear day for my visit as I got some nice clear photos. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. And the museum on ground level was an interesting walk-through. But the price of admission is too expensive, I went only to floor 86 but was satisfied with the view. I hadn't been in the building for many years and it was nice to visit again. Allot about 90 minutes.

They have made the entrance a great experience, from the exhibition of photos and videos to the history of the building and how iconic the building is in film and television. 100% recommend going to the sunset. GREAT SERVICE from Kalicia and Bibi in the souvenir shop, all the staff were very friendly to me as I use wheelchair

Spectacular view but quite pricey as everything here in new york. We went all the way to the top. Down there were some exhibition, which we didnt find too interesting

Bibi was extremely friendly and helped me choose a nice t shirt for my return trip. Generally a very pleasant atmosphere and would pass the message on.
Thank you for making my trip enjoyable.

The weather wasn't on our side today so the views were none existent, we were told this on the way in but didn't have time in the holiday to swap timings. The staff however were grumpy, rude and had no patience today which added to the overall cloud over the morning. Awful! The only staff who weren't in a mood were the people operating the lift back down.

I am talking here about the visit of the 86th and 102nd floor, being an iconic tower, emblematic of New York and an entire period, Art Deco building, it is a shame to access the premises through an entrance that does not reflect this spirit, the corridors are absolutely soulless, visual animation on the ceiling of the elevator between the ground floor and the 86th (very fast and imperceptible ascent), as if it was absolutely necessary to distract the barge so that it does not get bored in the elevator; obviously the panorama is impressive both at the 86th and 102nd, little extra thrill at the 102nd obviously because we are outside and the view is 360 degrees as they say ... it is done once, at no time you can say “I am on the Empire State Building and nowhere else”;
Besides, when you head towards the tower before entering, you never really see it as a whole , you never have enough back at any time.
To conclude, visit without personality or great interest, but a 3 out of 5 all the same because it is the famous and unique Empire State Building

Gonna head up around 7. First, check out the 82nd and 86th floors, take some pics, then go to the 102nd floor and wait for the sunset. There are these huge panoramic floor - to - ceiling windows and way fewer people. You can stay until the lights come on at night and then go down. I think it's totally worth it! 🌇🌇🌇

I really enjoyed my visit here such a lovely old building full of character and style. A great view from the top also good photo opportunities well worth a visit!

Gerard !! Absolutely fantastic job.
Thanks for guiding us and shared the knowledge and showed us the beauty of the city. We had a wonderful day !!!

This review is long overdue. We spent three days in New York back in May 2025. Two dad's and two daughters. We had no idea that the Empire State building was going to be one of the highlights of our sighting weekend when we booked it. Turned out it was one of the best decisions we made.
We chose the tour that included the 86th floor and the views were unbelievable. The best part though, hands-down, was the warm and kind welcoming we got from Renita Edmond. She made the trip. Her energy and her great personality and her willingness to educate and share her experiences of New York City with us were something we talked about for the rest of our trip. A huge thank you to Renita!

Visit The empire state building is a unique and unforgettable experience! Council both day and night! I did it both in summer and winter and it has always been something I will always keep in my memory! Unforgettable!

Visited both floors 86th and 102nd really great experience, so interesting to see the history of the building and brilliant views! This was made so memorable by all staff especially Renita singing happy Birthday to my wife. she was such a great host and made this so special for us!! Thank you so much Renita!!

We had the most amazing time visiting the Empire State Building. We got married there 20 years ago and decided to return for our wedding anniversary with our two teenage children. We were welcomed by Renita who was amazing and made our visit so special. Thanks to her we have memories that we will cherish forever. Thank you Renita and to all the wonderful staff we met on our visit.

The iconic, wonderful Empire State Building, surely one of the most (if not THE most) recognisable silhouette. Not "only" an engineering masterpiece so many years ahead of its time, but also an Art Deco treasure, the likes of which we're unlikely to see again. It's a treasure.
My wife and I have been on the (excellent) tour previously, but for our 30th Anniversary, we booked ourselves onto the VIP Tour as a special treat. It totally lived up to billing, with our amazing (actually Empire State legendary) host, Renita (my wife's name is Renata, so everyone hit it off right from the get go!). What an amazing lady, she did not leave a stone unturned during what was such a detailed tour. We got to look "behind the scenes" which, as an Engineer, was a sublime experience that I certainly wasn't presumptuous enough to expect. (Special thanks also to Mr Dailey, Director of Engineering, for his very generous time during our visit, which was very much appreciated).
Of course, the headliner 102nd floor Viewing Gallery, Champagne reception, a photographic meeting with a certain King Kong were all wonderful as well.
Above all, Renita made us feel most welcome, we really did get the "red carpet treatment". Again, my most heartfelt thanks to her.
I would sincerely recommend the tour to anyone who loves this building and wanting to go the extra mile. It's not cheap but is worth every cent.

Out trip some how needed with disappointment and then a very rude behavior of the security lady Ms Merle but fortunately suddenly we found Kevin in front of us as god given wish who was really shocked to know one of the security lady misbehaved with us and wanted to take action but we stopped it. Kevin was so nice and compensated with his gentlemanly behavior all the disappointments we had due to weather and unwanted behavior of the security lady
We thank the organizers for selecting and grooming someone like Kevin and we are sure there are more Kevin’s in the organization and very few Merle

Red carpet, express not needed if you honestly. There was no line do I paid extra for no reason. Waste of money 😩 just do regular admission if you go before lunch.

Not only were the views spectacular at sunset and at night, but the staff were so helpful and kind in helping us navigate through the building with my 88 year old grandma. I was so impressed with how much they accommodated for us so she could have a great experience at the Empire State Building. Definitely a worthwhile place to go on your trip to New York City!!

Excellent service 👏 helpful staff 👏 fantastic 360 views highly recommend 👍 i would do it again 😀 beautiful at nightt

The place surprised me positively. I almost didn't. The general opinion is that the other observatories are better pq in them you see the Empire State. But people, don't fall for it. The place is very interesting. You get in the elevator and it's already a separate attraction. Then you will go through a historic part that is very interactive and brings many memories. For me that I am not very fan of observatories was a very positive experience. There from above the view has rods right, as many complain. I saw no problem. There are some parties with heaters that are very welcome, even because I went in the winter. I went to him and to SUMMIT. If I had to pick one to get back, I'd be in the Empire, for sure.

Such an incredible experience, made possible by manager Devin. He was amazing and very personable. A smile goes a long way on a tourist attraction, and he's the best! I highly recommend this iconic tour. No visit to NYC is complete without a trip to the top of the Empire State Building. Thank you Devin!

Fantastic view of the city!!!! In clear weather you can see incredibly far. Also nice to do in the evening, when it is dark.

Wonderful experience, we loved it. It was our second stay in the USA. All happiness. We were able to visit under a beautiful sun.

The best skyscraper for a visit is just that, I recommend doing it in the evening or at sunset to make the experience unforgettable

Spent extra to be up at sunset, only to be forced off the observation deck so a "VIP" could film a commercial. It ruined my entire experience

Trip was fun. Everyone enjoyed visiting. Staff were very nice and friendly. Views were great. There were a lot of people, and seemed a little crowded but still worth the trip. Gift shop was also great, a lot of fun stuff the kids wanted to bring home. LOL. Just wanted to thank Kelici and Chris in the gift shop for their great service and especially to Chris for helping us find some nice places to eat at late in the evening. Not many places in the city like to help visitors the city, and its nice to see some people do care. thanks again Empire.

The museum was an unexpected highlight, with very interesting information and displays. Don't bother upgrading to the 102nd floor, it's an upsell and a waste of money - the view is exactly the same. The 86th floor with the outdoor deck is as good as it gets.

Really neat to be in this iconic building! Teared up when stepped outside on viewing area. Awesome views! Neat area inside with photos of celebrities who've been here.

Fantastic experience for my teenager. The exhibits are interesting and informative. The staff were helpful and polite. My only comments are that the cost is very high and I would like to see guides in each viewing area to talk about the buildings we were seeing. The online information (scanner) was inaccessible.

It's amazing and historic. It's probably in almost all the movies based in NY in one way or another, and to be there is awe inspiring. You just have to do it to tick it off the list - we went at nighttime to have a look over the city in darkness and it was mesmerising.

Devin is the best! So welcoming and caring, really made the experience a cannot miss! Would recommend to anything coming to NYC.

It was a pleasure to visit the world's most famous building. We went onto three different observation areas, all with fantastic views of Manhattan even on an overcast day. The presentation was outstanding from the moment you enter the building.

Great experience in an iconic building, staff and entry process were very slick and a consequence of tightened security. We had plenty of time to enjoy the Views and ever felt rushed to leave. I would recommend this to anyone visiting NY we really enjoyed it.

I had extremely good time!
I haven’t been here almost 30years.
extremely fantastic at 102 floor. I bought a photo that they took for me!

Sharon B made my experience amazing. She noticed me by myself and offered to take pictures of me and let me have the best experience any tourist could hope for. Lovely lady. Thank you appreciate you making my day

I enjoyed my time in the building. We were in the last time slot group. So it was super empty and we get to enjoy it a lot more!

We visited the Empire State Building in December 2025 and went during sunset, which made the experience extra special. The heaters outside were a nice touch to keep you warm, although they do cast an orange glow if you’re trying to take pictures. Security is thorough—you’ll need to remove your jacket—but the process was quick and efficient.
We purchased sunset tickets last minute, which are a bit more expensive, but it was worth it for the timing and the views. There was no line when we arrived, just about five minutes after our ticket time. One tip: don’t hesitate to ask someone to take your photo with the views in the background—it’s totally worth it for a keepsake.
Overall, the Empire State Building offers classic NYC views, a smooth visit, and plenty of photo opportunities, especially at sunset.

Amazing! Quiet, not at all crowded. A wonderful hour spent at the observatory. Recommend the early wake up for this. Plenty of space to move around and take so many pictures at every angle around the building.

Many consider it the true heart of New York. Those of us who had already climbed on our previous trip to New York this time we limited ourselves to observing it from the outside, also because the current prices do not invite us to recess. But for those arriving in the city for the first time it is a must-see.

Sharon B looked after us very kindly in our visit. She explained everything very well and made us feel safe in this magical experience. Thank you so much!!

Great experience. Renita, a staff member at the 102th floor, made a difference. She sang us happy birthday, amazing voice, and was very kind taking us an amazing family photo. Ahmed, one of the supervisors, also made our visit very special.

Great experience seeing New York City from the skies. The history behind the Empire State Building prior to the viewing experience was very interesting. We just booked there and then was a nice highlight of our city visit.

Definitely worth including a visit when in New York , timed tickets make the experience easy very little time waiting and not too crowded

If it cost 10€ again but honestly it is not worth the price. Nice view but that's all because the rest is just aimed at selling you a photo package.

Absolutely incredible—truly a highlight of my trip to New York City! From the moment you enter, you feel the rich history and grandeur of this iconic landmark. The Art Deco design throughout the building adds a timeless charm that sets the tone for the experience.
The views from the 86th-floor observation deck are nothing short of breathtaking. You get a full panoramic view of the NYC skyline, and on a clear day, you can see for miles.
The staff were helpful, the lines moved efficiently, and the interactive exhibits along the way added a fun, educational element. An absolute must-see. Worth every minute!

Empire State Bldg at Sunset was wonderful. Snsetvwas at aporox 8:45pm and we got there at 7:00pm. I accidentally booked non refundable tickets and was not able to go but booked another reservation thru Marriott concierge sane day and it wss cheaper and easier. Empire SB museum is wonerful and worth spending some time.

I came late at night and when I passed by the exit they told me they were sold out. I went to the ticketing office anyways and Sharon B was able to get me a last minute ticket. She was wonderful and absolutely made my night! Seeing New York from above at night has been on my bucket list for a long time and it wouldn’t have been possible without her. Thank you so much Sharon B!

Iconic! With the city pass we had the possibility to climb twice in the same day. In the morning it was snowing, so we saw nothing but what an experience, the empire under the snow! In the evening, we had to wait 22h to get back up (we were there around 9pm but they refused us entry). It was great! Nice experience, mythical!

Nieves is that Gurl! She made feel so welcome and so comfortable for my solo visit at the Empire State Building. Thank you Nieves, for answering my questions and being so kind to me ❤️😍

Got engaged here this morning!!!! The view was unreal. Yolanda K. was so friendly and kind! She took amazing pics of me and my fiancee !!!! Thanks Yolanda!

This was the best thing I did in New York City. First off, give Melvin F. a raise. He is my king. Best night ever, felt very touristy but in a fun and awesome, not cringey, way. Talked to so many cool people from all over the world. Literally, cannot recommend this enough. Cannot stress the importance of Melvin F. enough. He made me feel valued and really helped me enjoy my time in the observation deck. He was super nice and friendly, and even one of his coworkers agreed that he was the best. Also, the cashier (didn’t get his name) while checking out of the gift shop was amazing and gave great advice for when exploring the city. Even if you are scared of heights, you should go to see Melvin.

We absolutley loved the Empire State building and the views are unlike anything you have ever seen!
The have different admission prices and will charge you to go to the 80th floor, 86th floor and 102nd floor. I highly suggest 102!
The 80th floor is beautiful and has a nice outside terrace where you get great views outside. The 86th and especially the 102nd are both indoor and fit less people. When you look down to the 80th floor from 102, you really realize how much higher you are standing.
This is an absolute must see when visiting NYC!

The Empire State Building is a beautiful landmark with stunning views. The panorama from the observation deck is incredible — you can see almost all of Manhattan, and it truly feels like a classic New York moment. The indoor exhibitions and photo spots are very well done and add to the experience.
However, the ticket price is significantly higher than the value of the visit. While the view is great, I expected a bit more for the cost.
Overall, it’s a nice experience, especially for first-time visitors to NYC.

I had a negative experience with the reception staff on the first floor. The attitude of the person at the front desk was unprofessional and dismissive. It seemed like they were unwilling to assist, and there was even a moment where they possibly made a discriminatory gesture, such as spitting, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and it really left a bad impression of the service.

I was overwhelmed! First time for me in New York and it will remain my favorite observatory. With the CityPass we were able to do it at the first morning and night slot (magic!!).

The Empire State Building is breathtaking, especially from the observation deck—stunning views of Manhattan day or night.

Well worth the visit. Online booking made the whole process much faster than our last visit 20 years ago which involved about two hours of queues. A little sad you no longer go in the main entrance but I guess it helps with queue management. My son is a huge fan of the Percy Jackson books so wore his Camp Half blood T-shirt for the visit. He was delighted when a member of staff asked him if he was going all the way to the 600th floor. His experience was later enhanced when walking along 34th St a group of older teens also wearing their CHB shirts gave him a wave and said hello

The experience of viewing New York City at night hits a little different. The view, the lights and the height is surreal. I 100% recommend booking the 102nd floor as it’s not as crowded as the 86th and the photo ops are better due to this.

An excellent "must do" experience when you're in NYC. Do this at night - I think that the views are much better! You can either book ahead or pay on the day / night.

Amazing experience. We highly recommend it. Fun, interesting and impressive views. A special thank you to Sharon B. Who was very helpful and really friendly. We highly recommend.

Very Nice building and amazing tours, Staff was super friendly and kind the viewpoint from the 86th Floor was absolutely Stunning however you have to pay a lot extra to see Floor 102 overall super fun but too many expensive purchases on the way as you walk up the building.

It's a must do to be high and looking over New York, north, south, east and west. We went to the ED as it's an iconic building and I'd rather be there than look at it. Would recommend

Nice experience all arranged very well. If you go early in the morning there are few people and you can enjoy the view better. From the 86th floor you can see everything there is no need to climb higher. I also recommend it because compared to other alternatives it allows you to see the inside of a historic building.

The most memorable experience on our vip tour with Hugo our guide, who made it fun as well as full of facts about the amazing history of the building. Well worth the extra cost. And a big thank you to Renita who went the extra mile to see us down to the bottom. Couldn’t praise them both enough!

Really something special to get to go on top of the Empire State Building. The view of manhattan was gorgeous. Nothing poor to say! Worth it!

Beside the amazing scenery at one of the highest levels my wife and I have ever been. We also appreciated the wonderful employees that were there such as Ms. Bibbi and Ms. Charisma! Very kind, educating and joyful to talk to about New York and the Empire State experiences. I definitely recommend visiting!

I was the 2nd person in line when it opened that morning. Everything went smoothly and I got to enjoy the views very peacefully. Last time I was here was over 30 years ago but it felt like my first time.

It was very nice place to visit and I met some new people named Bibi, Charisma and Kofi they was so friendly and nice I love to come back to see them

We really enjoyed the visit. It has impressive views and it is really well done. A special thank you to Sharon B. Who has been very helpful and so friendly. We highly recommend visiting it.

Wonderful ! Great! Overwhelming! Astonishing! Cool! Especially the lights, when the sun goes down! Unbelievable!

Amazing skyline views from the observation deck. Wait times can be long, but skip-the-line tickets help. Prices are high yet worth it. Overall, a classic New York experience with unforgettable panoramas.

We decided to visit the Empire State Building for the view. It was awesome! The whole family enjoyed the view of the city. This is a must see when visiting New York.

This was far and away the best observation platform experience we have ever done (including The View From The Shard - which I worked with). The interpretation, customer experience and visitor services were second to none.

This is a third trip to New York and we finally booked the Empire state. It does feel pricey and one advantage of the other climbs is to see the empire state in all its glory. But we had the city go pass and wanted to max it out. I have to say we were not disappointed. After airport style security we went up and it is just like being in the many films you see it in. Great views and very classy. Would recommend.

Great value for money. The views from the top were breathtaking and grand. I met a lot of tourists too which made it better

This is a big shout out to Devin C. who kindly encouraged me to go to the 86th floor when I was on the 80th and hesitant to go any higher. Hesitant is putting it mildly. I had no intention of going any higher, but Devin was so reassuring and so positive in his encouragement that I went. I'm very glad I did! The view is beautiful and the experience is one of a kind.
Thank you Devin!

I had been to New York and up the Empire State Building once before 10 years ago. Unfortunately, because I used a City pass back then, I already had another activity on the same day (a cruise on the Hudson River with Green Line from Pear 64) so last time around, in Oct 2015, we got up after the cruise, hence it was already dark by then and we could only see illuminated skyscrapers.
Therefore, this time around I felt a bit anxious to plan my visit right and make the most of it. I booked my tickets only 24 hours before because I wanted to make sure it was a sunny day with clear skies so I was checking the weather forecast closer to the day. I could see during the two weeks prior to my arrival in New York that every day there were plenty of slots left available. I picked the 1.45pm time as it is before the price goes up for the twilight slots, however once you are up you can stay to watch the sunset if you want to wait until 4.30/5pm so no point in paying the higher rate. There were nearly no queues at all so the more expensive express ticket was not necessary either. I also realised that on the 80th floor, before you go on the 86th floor, you have a viewing room with windows which makes it possible to enjoy the views even with poor weather. Hence I don’t feel that the more expensive ticket for the 102nd floor (which promises an indoor observatory deck) would have been much better neither, as I got views behind glasses on the 80th floor before getting to the outside observation deck on the 86th floor. By the way the staff was so welcoming and organised! Really nice to interact with everyone. All in all we had a fantastic experience :-)
If you feel confused, as I did at first, with all the possible tickets to purchase on the official website, including the city pass, I personally recommend the cheaper tickets for museum and 86th floor only, without express tickets to beat the queue if you are going on a week day outside of public holidays, without the twilight slots if you are happy to wait up to see the sunset, without the 102nd floor if you are just concerned about having an indoor deck as you get it on 80th floor; and without a city pass, unless you want to visit all very expensive attractions in New York (we were only interested in the Statue of Liberty - which is cheap to buy separately - and the Met - which is not included in any pass). Enjoy your visit in New York!

Considered one of the wonders of engineering, it is truly impressive. Brings an amazing view of the city and you can choose to pay cheaper and see from "lower" floors or pay a more expensive ticket and climb the higher floor. Most tickets give you two entries, one during the day and one at night, so you can see the city in the sun and the moon.
The Empire States is close to the Korean Town, so I recommend going near lunchtime and then enjoy eating in the surroundings.

We had a truly wonderful evening at the Empire State Building for our proposal.
Special thanks to Ahmed and Gordon for their warm support, and also to the kind lady at the ticket counter during the day who helped us with everything. A big thank you as well to the lovely lady on the 102nd floor who took such beautiful photos for us.
Gordon’s tour was fun, engaging, and made the experience even more memorable.
It was an unforgettable night and absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!

This is the observation deck that makes New York. Its like a tardis and time machine and just cannot be described on photos as the experience is what dos it justice

Paid the extra for the VIP bracelet and it was totally worth it.
I would tour this on a 90 degree day with the quick pass. Lots of MERCH at the end

Wonderful experience. Recommend you go early as it gets very crowded! We had a beautiful clear day and could see all the sights.

Renewed it became nice to be again
Not necessary to pay more to the extra top
Nice if you go early in the morning, since it is less full...

The lady at the ticket office Sharon B. was so nice and helpful. She helped us with our mistake at the ticket rezervation. The nicest person and made our visit great!

Brilliant, such an iconic New York City landmark. The exhibits within the tower leading up to the observation deck and so well set out and teach you a lot about the history of the building.

Wow, what a wonderful experience! The entire staff, from the moment we walked in, was incredibly joyful, friendly, and accommodating. The view from the 102nd floor was more stunning than I could have imagined—it truly needs to be seen in person. This is a definite must-see when visiting New York, and I can't recommend it enough. We also want to give a special thank you to Kevin, one of the managers, for taking the time to share some of the building's fascinating history with us.

A brilliant experience enjoyed by all our party, very informative, loved the King Kong room, that was fun & the views were excellent, a must visit

We loved it. The interactive exhibitions showed how the building was made with plenty of photo opportunities to remember the day

It was a great tour with so much to see. All of the staff were amazing. My family had a great time! We will be back with more family members.

SHARON WAS SOOO HELPFUL AND POILTE! LOVE HER SMM. she took family pics with us and we even took a family pick with her! all the staff are so helpful god bless them

We did the general admission ticket, and the view was fantastic. The museum that you walk through to get to the viewing platform is interesting and the staff is really fantastic. You can really tell they love their jobs. Be sure to get reservations, especially on the weekends as it's super busy. Super easy to get reservations online.

Iconic! You can’t visit NYC and not go to the top of the Empire Stare Building. We just walked in-no reservations needed. There are numerous ticket machines so any lines will move fast. You can choose between going to the 86 or 102 floor. Tickets to the 102 floor are right at $100 per person after fees and taxes.
There are a lot of interactive exhibits to enjoy on your way to the 86 floor. There is a really cool King Kong virtual reality photo stop along with tons of history. The tour ends at the gift shop.
It’s a must do if you’re a first timer to NYC.
Tip: The 102 floor is really cool but if you are budget conscious there really isn’t much difference between 86 and 102

A unique experience; friendly staff, a very explanatory and interactive museum. Photos that project exciting moments.

We visited the Empire State Building the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, and we did the VIP Premium Experience Tour. From entering the lobby, to the warm welcome on every floor and hallway, we had such a wonderful time, and it was made special by our tour guide, Gerard. He had such a passion for the history of the building -- the marble details on the walls, the rivets in the support beams, up to the ceiling artwork. I could go on, but I think if you're considering the guided tour, you should try it. My sister, aunt and I had all visited the Empire State Building decades ago when only the 86th floor was open. And this trip was really special for us, because it wasn't just a trip up and a trip down, it was a getting to know the when and why of the building. My 4 year old son enjoyed King Kong and really got on well with Gerard, who had so much patience with the different energies in the group. Thank you for an amazing time! We hope to make it back again. -Cindy

Been on the tour 3 times and every time I'm just in awe of where I'm standing. You can't visit NYC and not make the trip up

Great experience, friendly staff, beautiful view. Not crowded when we went and plenty of opportunities to take pictures and lots of fascinating information!

This was a great experience. The staff is friendly and appreciated the structure of getting folks to and from their destination sights.

The morning was spectacular , the people fabulous , no lines and the museum SO MUCH fun .
The coffee and croissant not equal to the rest of the experience , very make shift and not very good
I guess you pay for NO LINES ….. quite expensive but that was welcomed

I've always wanted to go to the empire state building.
It's a one-off. Tickets booked earlier and right to 86. Floor raised.
Just wonderful, especially the view from the highest floor.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Even with limited views due to the snow, it was a great experience! Are there any pics of Mohawk/Seneca Iron Workers?

It was absolutly magical. The city from above was such a beautiful thing to see. It was mesmarizing!
I felt like out of the world

Visiting the Empire State Building is a must-see experience in New York. Panoramic views from the top are breathtaking, offering a unique perspective of the city.

I enjoyed it however, my team did not. After going through other exhibits and seeing the skyline, this is definitely directed towards an older crowd. Views are great and it wasn’t terribly crowded.

A great experience, personally I don’t like heights, we got the tickets for floor 86 & going on to floor 102, great views from both floors, although we did not spend a lot of time on floor 102, I’d say it was an achievement for me

WONDER!!! wonderful experience, a stylish skyscraper. Thanks to Sharon B. for being kind, helpful and very nice to us!

Beautiful view has 360, especially in the evening at nightfall. Only downsides: find the right entrance (we were not the only ones in this case) and organization significantly worse than the World Trade Center or The Edge.

Wow, what an unforgettable experience! We did the evening tour and Observation Deck at the Empire State Building, and it was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Learning about the rich history of this iconic building before heading up made the experience even more meaningful. Then, stepping out onto the observation deck and taking in those breathtaking views was pure magic.
As we stood there, we all agreed that when you think of New York City, you think of the Empire State Building. Actually being up there, looking out over the entire city from above, was truly unforgettable. It was definitely chilly at the top, so if you're visiting in the winter, be sure to bundle up with extra layers. We loved every minute of it and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting NYC!

I want to sincerely thank Sharon B for making my visit to the empire state building truly special. She was incredible kind and warm hearted, took such thoughtful care of me and absolutely made my evening - thank you so much!
And honestly, being on top of the empire state building is just an unforgettable experience. A true highlight of my trip to New York!

We visited the Empire State Building at night, and it was an absolutely magical experience. The city lights from the top were breathtaking – something everyone should see at least once!
We did run into a bit of a hiccup with our booking not working properly, but thankfully, we were helped by Sharon B. She was incredibly kind, professional, and truly went above and beyond to assist us. Thanks to her, we were able to enter at the time we had planned, and she really saved the evening for us.

This was better than we expected! Such an iconic building and the museum section was really interesting!
With loads of observation decks to choose from I’m glad we chose this…. The OG!

The staff was great. I went to the top. If going to do it go all the way up. I would definitely do it again. There is a cute shop on your way out.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Empire State Building! Loved the history and all the information! The views are amazing and well worth going for fantastic photo opportunity! Highly recommend

Definitely worth the price! Enjoyed everything about this tour! Great customer service! Views were spectacular! I highly recommend it!

The staff were incredible and very helpful. The VIP experience was incredible & worth the time! The Guest Services Specialist, Devin, was checking on customers and staff throughout my whole visit. It was obvious that he is very respected at his job. There is a very lively, but chill vibe at the ESB at night. The view was amazing and I was able to spend over an hour experiencing the ESB!

An absolute waste of money to enjoy the VIP express sunset experience!
We had find our own way with people who had not paid express.
One attendant was downright rude!
I would never recommend this to anyone. We tried to complain and no one cared!
Disgraceful
The view was delightful but the lack of customer service made the visit unenjoyable! !

I have always wanted to go to the top of the Empire State! Loved it! The whole experience is magical, such a stunning and iconic building, the views were amazing. An absolute must for when you are in the city

We enjoyed our quick visit here. We visited based mostly on the incredibly positive reviews on TripAdvisor. When we arrived (2pm on a Saturday), there was no line, and we walked right in. We were on the fence about buying tickets given the relatively steep price, but we eventually pulled the trigger for our family of 5 to go to the 86th floor. We skipped right through the displays on the lower floors and went straight up to the top. We spent about 30 minutes up top, and then left and came down. The views were fantastic, although I was surprised there wasn't more signage telling you what you were looking at from the various vantage points. I wouldn't say this is a must-do, but it was good for us since we were in New York City for a short period of time, and this gave us a great panoramic view of the city.

It is certainly one of the main icons of NY, it is worth entering and seeing the city from its observatory, additionally, the tour is very entertaining.

What a great day with great views and the friendliest staff! Devin was awesome - thank you so much! The 102 floor was a crazy experience even with a fear of heights!

Awesone experience at the Empire State Building.
Excellent coordination, the building and itd collections, videos within the elevators, history of the building, it was an amazing experience with my familiy.
I higlhy recommend it

Very well organised tour. We went for the express due to potential long queues, however didn’t really require them as was quiet on our arrival. We had a 1015 hrs Saturday slot booked.
Fantastic views from the observation level, help with the excellent weather.

Visited the location and was able to check in alittle early which was nice in the morning. The organised queues for the elevators were quick. Some history items to see on the way with some photo opportunities including king kong which had a slight queue as expected. At the top it was busy but was able to get photos along with an opportunity with a colourful set big ballons with Empire State Building written on them. With the window views I would recommend walking down to the next lot of windows as everyone goes to the first lot you see. Nice souvenir shop as you leave. Worth a trip but go early.

The Empire State is definitely a must visit in New York. Personnel was very friendly and supportive. The view amazing. A really good experience. Really recommend

The museum was fantastic, the staff was extremely nice and knowledgeable, the views from the 86th floor were breathtaking

Was a fantastic experience going up the Empire State Building. We were so lucky with the weather in October. Very informative and staff very friendly
Only issue was there were 5 of us on the ticket but this would not scan to let us through and it we had to wait about 10 minutes to one side for a senior member of staff to go and print off paper tickets for us to scan through. Which in this day and age seems ridiculous. If the scan ticket I down load on my phone say for 5 people it should work and not have to be printed out and us have to wait around .

Words cannot express how absolutely beautiful this tour and experience is. Every dollar was spent on it was well worth it. We had a very special tour guide, Renita Edmond, who made sure the tour was intimate and personal just to us. I brought my mom to NYC, which is a bucket list trip for her and Renita really made the entire experience beyond perfect. Not only did we get to see both observatories, we also got to see parts of the building not seen by any one else as well as never having to wait in line. The most important part of it all was Renita, however, who made the experience absolutely exceptional. Thank you Renita for making memories of a lifetime for my mom and I!

A world famous building with plenty of history and significance. A good overview of the buildings history on the way up with a few decent interactive elements. Essentially though, you’re there for the view and it’s spectacular. Been there during the day and at night. Both are great.

Amazing place!! If you go get the $80 ticket to the very top. Definitely worth it!
Such great views. The lines are always long but it’s worth it!

From the last time we visited it’s been added new attractions. It was a great experience, next time we will probably upgrade to the 102 floor.

Dear Sir/Madam: I had the BEST experience at The Empire State Building, thanks, to Sharon. Sharon was super sweet in guiding us in the right direction when we had no one around to help us capture the moment. She has a great disposition and wonderful personality.
Because of Sharon, we will come back again for the night-lit experience and go all the way to 86 and 102!!! :)
First-class service Sharon!

Exceeded my expectations. Just do it. Allow enough time to take in the history and exhibits. Take plenty of photos. Go to the 102nd floor. It is worth it.

The staff was really helpful. Danny and Kev were kind and helped resolve my issue quickly. They really made
my day !
The view was beautiful.

Was a great day. Really enjoyed it, the history the kind kong graphics were great. Lots of fun and would do it again great.

Our visit to the Empire State Building was wonderful! We went at night to see the city lights and the views were amazing! The inside of the building is also beautiful. We booked our passes using the CityGo Pass. I made a mistake in the booking process and Sharon at the Empire State Building immediately jumped in to help us. Her customer service was top notch and we were extremely grateful for her assistance.

Overall the tourist experience is up to what I expected and appreciated the history of the building construction. However towards of me and my friend's tour, we ran into a major inconvenience that the gift shop staff and security had to be involved in looking for a missing item. Charisma and Monet have been absolutely phenomenal in supporting my friend and I. 10/10 look for them!

We visited the Empire State Building in July and decided to splurge on the express pass — absolutely worth it! The Saturday morning crowds were huge, and skipping the long lines made our visit so much smoother. The views from both the 86th and 102nd floors were spectacular. It was a hot and clear morning, with just a touch of haze that added a dreamy quality to the skyline. All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. A must-do experience for anyone visiting New York!

What an iconic building. It had to be done on our visit to New York and we weren’t disappointed. We went up to the top level which I’m glad we did because it was a very cold windy day - we got to spend more time admiring the view in a sheltered space.
We are a family of four (2 older teens) and we loved it.

Family day, from 11-year-old to 79-year-old, it exceeded our expectations! I thought we were just getting an elevator and ride up and take the view, but there is so much more going on. Several stops walking through sort of interactive, galleries and history. The facility is clean as a whistle and beautifully maintained. Very very pleasantly surprised!

Beautiful building with breathtaking views. Well worth the visit. Very well organised and staff are very helpful and friendly.

Amazing views from the 86th floor and unobstructed views on the 102nd floor. Huge thanks to Ms. Renita E, VIP Ambassador, she was extremely kind and made my son felt so welcomed and special. WE LOVE NYC!!!!

I went to the Empire State Building 3 times now and it still has a special charm for me.
My family also enjoyed it very much.

This was our first visit to the Empire State Building, and all I can say is, it was worth every penny. The building was amazing from top to bottom. Lashonda was very helpful and informative during our visit. My wife was skeptical about going up but after much convincing and a very descriptive visual of what to expect while visiting the building, my wife was sold. Thank you for having exceptional staff to help make our experience much more meaningful. This is a must see attraction!!!!

We visited the observatory, the assistant Sharon B. was exceptional, very professional, helpful and kind.
Valentina

Great fun experience for first time family visiting! Definitely recommend. Found cheaper tickets on trip advisor than any other place. Crazy how fast the elevator goes from 1-80 floors. Fun to see everything that looked so big from the street from so high up.

Worked well. I will definitely use Travel Advisor for future attraction bookings. As this is one of the main attractions in NYC, we wanted to make sure all was in order.

I visited the Empire State Building on Friday, November 29th (Black Friday), and once again, it was an amazing experience. Everything is always extremely organized, clean, and well run. The staff is very professional, friendly, and welcoming, and security is great, you truly feel safe throughout the entire visit.
The experience is absolutely worth the price. The views from the top are breathtaking, especially from the 102nd floor. The souvenir photos at the end are a fair price and make a great keepsake to take home.
This was my third time visiting, and I continue to bring new people because it never gets old. I can’t wait to go back again.
A special thank you to the cashier, I believe her name was Carissa, she was incredibly friendly, polite, and helpful. She truly represents the Empire State Building well and is an amazing employee.

This trip was a little boring, but with my family it was an experience I couldn’t live without. While the top isn’t necessary, the 86th is great

We did the Premium Experience with Gerard, and it was a fantastic tour! Gerard shared many important details on the ESB history, construction, workers, and competition. It was a fabulous talk that took us behind the scenes and highlighted architectural details throughout the building. With only 4 people in our group, we were able to ask a lot of questions. Totally worth the money for this private tour that takes you to the 86th and 102nd floor.

Renita was a TREASURE! Such a wonderful experience for our family. We highly recommend. We highly recommend the BIP private tour.

Visiting the Empire State Building with my daughter was an absolute highlight of our trip. Is it a tourist trap? Yes. Can it get pricey? Also yes. But it’s still completely worth it.
A little planning goes a long way here. Be mindful of the season and the weather—both the crowds and the views can change dramatically depending on those factors. We arrived just as the snow started falling, which made the experience feel almost cinematic.
The staff stood out immediately: welcoming, kind, and genuinely knowledgeable, which makes a big difference in a place this busy. If it’s in your budget, I highly recommend the 102nd-floor observation deck. The views are incredible, and the reduced crowd size makes it feel far more relaxed and immersive.
One pleasant surprise was how comfortable it was even in winter. The outdoor viewing area has heaters, so you can actually linger and enjoy the moment instead of rushing through.
Iconic for a reason—and a memory my daughter and I will always share.
History lesson
I appreciated the history lesson and as you get in there's a mini museum, it depicts how they built it almost a century ago with the technology of those days. Amazing, we saw how an elevator was working those days. And a few more artifacts.
Totally recommend it
