This is a must see when you visit Greenville. Such a nice surprise that this is right downtown. It's beautiful. So nice to hang out in this area and walk around.

Even the chilly, damp weather couldn’t distract from the beauty of this downtown park. Greenville should be proud of this stunning space - waterfalls, rock formations, flowers, sculptures, etc. We spent hours walking the paths and bridges. When you need food or drink, there are so many places to choose from. We hope to return here some fall day.

My husband and I was in town for a marriage retreat and took some time to explore Greenville. We had a great relaxing time at Falls Park. A great place to take photos. There were a lot of people out but the crowd was nice the kids were rolling down the hill…. Picnics everywhere…yet it was serene enough for me to take in the falls, breath and enjoy the time with my love.

Every city should follow the Greenville model. The park in the middle of the city is beautiful and it brings everyone out to experience life. I visited it during the March Madness tournament a few years ago and I loved it so much I came back with my family.

This is a must-see if you are in the Greenville area. It is a lovely use of public space, with a beautiful waterfall and suspension bridge. The park is full of interesting statues and insta-worthy photo options. The landscape is lush and green with colorful flowers. Across the street there are some excellent food options and shops. A very fun area to spend time in and just take it all in and relax. Greenville appears to be the up-and-coming place to be.

Such a beautiful way to enjoy the river through Greenville. Lots of walking opportunities and photographic areas to take home a remembrance. We happened to visit during a rainy weekend, but it still was beautiful as the spring plants were beginning to surface.

Food, shopping, waterfalls, walking trails and plenty of places to just sit and relax. Great way to spend a day in Greenville SC.

Just a fantastic area that was so much bigger & nicer than we expected downtown Greenville to be. Clean, picturesque, & relaxing.

Wow, I’ve never seen such a beautiful park in the middle of a downtown area! Gorgeous flowers, waterfall and miles of walking trails for us and the dogs. Would definitely go back and spend more time in all the shops and restaurants!

It’s hard to believe this beauty used to be covered by a highway. The park is beautiful, with lush landscaping framing a spectacular waterfall. The waterfall varies from tame to roiling and boiling “chocolate milk” depending on recent rain activity. Don’t miss this local haven of beauty and serenity, nor the Liberty bridge that provides another vantage point for this local treasure.

Popular path with lots of people (but not crowded). Lots of bikers and dogs - scenery along the way. Wish all cities had this kind of setup!

We were visiting the area and came across this park. Its really relax and chill vibe. Everyone seems to be relax. The kids had fun

Beautiful place. Bridge you walk on move slightly as you walk so if afraid of things like that you may not like. But water fall is beautiful. In the the center of town.

Absolutely stunning location in the heart of the area. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the best day I the park. We meet people from all over and so friendly. The grounds was clean and well maintained. Very impressive park. Recommended to everyone to visit if you're near by.

My favorite park in SC. Husband proposed here more than 20 years ago and we keep coming back. Perfect to meander all day, and there are many spots to sit and take in the view. Also walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops.

Greenville can easily boast a beautiful and scenic Park in downtown. With fantastic waterfalls in town, Falls Park takes full advantage of the slopes blooming with flowers and several scenic settings on the River. Be sure and walk along river trail for more views of river and park.

We visited Greenville to see our daughter who moved there for the year and really enjoyed the vist to the Falls Park. Really nice views, nice bridge, and excellent place to walk before or after dinner in the area. Try a visit!

Nothing I like more than rivers and forests. The Reedy walk has it all. Wonderful walk that ended with a delightful lunch overlooking the falls. What could be better?

Talk about a great place to spend an afternoon during all this craziness-this is it. It's a beautiful, relaxing place.

Great area to just enjoy life. Clean and everything in good order. Relax and see the beauty around and maybe just roll down a grassy hill.

Nice park to walk and enjoy the views - great addition to a walk around downtown Greenville. Even with Covid was very pleasant.

This park is one of the most beautiful city parks I have visited. The falls are quite picturesque. There are flowers everywhere and the gardens are obviously well maintained. Although finding a parking spot nearby was a challenge, we were glad we stopped.

This place is absolutely amazing. Please, if you can’t find a place to park, don’t hesitate to pay. You have to walk down to the park to see it. You’ll be glad you did. Several falls around the park. Landscaping is so well maintained and beautiful. Just an awesome place to check out. So glad I did.

Always wanted to see this glad finally did. The area around it and the falls are beautiful. Greenville is one of prettiest cities in Carolinas. So glad we stopped and will be returning.

A suspension bridge spans this river and waterfalls. Excellent views and nearby Swamp Rabbit trail was a good walk. You could also bike this trail and a lot of people were.

We enjoyed our walk in the park but we were annoyed by the saxophone player in the park on 6/17 at noon that played random notes that sounded terrible. I would enjoy the park much better if the city did not allow musicians in it. Peace and quiet is much better!!!

Beautiful day in Greenville to see the trail, the falls and all the sites in the park! Parking lot makes it easy - also accessible from restaurants and other spots.

Hats off to Greenville for providing such incredible open spaces, parks, walkways to its residents and visitors. It was an incredibly clear, sunny day and walking along the trails was the perfect place to be. There were separate paths for bikers and walkers and everyone seemed to respect the spaces available. Great job, Greenville! Thank you.

Gorgeous park! Enjoyed walking through Greenville in the morning before the hussle and bustle of the day and don't one this park. The waterfall is the perfect background noise. Find a bench and sit back and relax.

Lovely place to chill in the city. Greenspaces, sculptures, green grassy areas, flowers, and the sound of water....ahhh.

Loved walking all over this area. Our hotel was close by and we enjoyed seeing the falls from the Liberty bridge. Great shopping and tons of restaurants in the area. Lots of places to sit down and people watch, picnic, swing or read a book. I wish I lived close to this because I would walk here all the time. Weather was great so that added to the charm.

Walking along the Reedy was relaxing and so refreshing. Theraputeic without paying a therapist. You must go along for the adventure.

Great place to stop in. The sights are just beautiful. Great area to walk around abs take in all the different nature available. Great little shops and restaurants.

First time in Greenville for us and we decided to take in all the highlights. This park was beyond beautiful. What a great spot for walking or just sitting and relaxing. Don’t miss this hidden oasis.

Excellent outdoors space right in the middle of the city.
Pedestrian bridge is a stunner with impeccable views on the falls.
Perfect to start a leisure jog down south or up north along the rail trail.

Perfect place for a peaceful walk after dinner! I always love coming here, and tonight was no exception. I had a nice stroll by the water and took several pics. This place always makes me happy and calms me.

Brought my daughter for her birthday. We had a great time and took lotsof photos. Lots of things to do, ride bikes ( rented from Bike tge Rabbit). Segway Historic tour from Greenville Glides with John. Walked main street too. Lots of fun things to do!

While visiting our son in Greenvile, he took us to this great hiking spot! It is so scenic and serene. Also very convenient to shops, pubs and restaurants - all
In walking distance.

Its a nice park tucked in a cute city. You can start here then walk the trail behind it. We went on a saturday & there was a farmers market in one of the streets leading to the park so it added to the charm of the city. If you want to fully explore the town, i suggest you di it early in the morning or late in the afternoon esp in the summertime. I will def come back and wxplore it at night too.

Great place to walk and see shops and the falls. We were here in the sptingand everything was in bloom. We walked with out dog although it was a little busy. It was fun to see all the families picniking and haveing a good time. The city is very welcoming.

Went there for my first time, I am going back soon with more family members. This is a must see for anyone who has not been there.

This was our first visit to Greenville, SC, having recently retired here from the Northeast. I am a huge fan of waterfalls and loved being able to visit the falls right in the center of town! We enjoyed the view from Liberty Bridge, had a picnic lunch at a picnic table beside the falls, enjoyed a nice stroll along the falls, and also enjoyed a fantastic bike ride along the Falls on the Reedy on the Swamp Rabbit Trail! We will definitely be coming back to Greenville!

Living proof a city can do something right. Walking the park is one of the more fun "free" things you can do. I suggest taking a camera.

Right in the heart of town. A must see. Nice path and bridge. Lots of shopping and dining all around

This park is located right downtown and is beautiful. It was so serene and there were families everywhere just laying in the grass, feeding the ducks, walking the trails or eating overlooking the park. We stayed forever just taking in the scenery and people watching. Can’t wait to go back!

This place is GORGEOUS!!! Wow!!!! I can’t wait to go back! The view from the bridge is beautiful! Stay at a hotel downtown, and just walk. Grab some dinner, stop in one of the sweet shops and walk it all off by walking to the park and just spend the rest of the evening there. Their statues and hills and fields and water and views!!! Gosh!!😍

Gorgeous downtown with rushing water, landscaping, and food and drink nearby. Bravo, Greenville, for valuing your community.

This was a beautiful park. Everything from the spring blooms to the waterfalls was relaxing. We enjoyed taking different paths and viewing the parks sculptures. It’s a must see, especially after a long road trip.

Awesome place, nice walkways and with very good views in a great location. Park is mostly clean and plenty of shade. We had fun walking around !

We really enjoyed this place, the falls was great but the surrounding gardens were nice as well. Lots of paths, sculptures and art to take in. View from Liberty Bridge was nice as well. Definitely recommend when exploring Greenville.

Absolutely beautiful! Wonderful surprise in the middle of town. A true treasure to the city of Greenville!

Between the park, bridges, artwalk, and the riverfalls, was able to take over 100 beautiful photos of our daytrip. Beautifully landscaped and clean. Locals are lucky to have this area.

A must see if you visit Greenville. We didn’t walk the whole park but it was pretty awesome. Also visit Cancer Survivor Park… which I believe might connect to this park. I did see a homeless person but other than that, I enjoyed the scenery.

we've heard that this part of downtown Greenville is pretty. The Falls Park did not disappoint. We didn't eat at any of the nearby restaurants but I think my wife is ready to move to Greenville.

We enjoyed walking the paths and standing on the foot bridge watching the water come down. A neat story of how the falls were revitalized if you will. Take time to see them and take some walks

The waterfall was so beautiful and I was amazed at all the geese. They were beautiful to watch. It was a short walk from my hotel (Hyatt Regency). Definitely a great place to chill on a beautiful day. Loved watching a man play fetch with his lab in the water😁 This was my first time to visit Greenville (in town for BFF wedding) and I fell in love with the city. Contemplating a move there but will definitely return for vacation if I don't make it permanent.

Beautiful falls right in town. Hearing the sound of the water is magical! Everyone is super friendly. Exceptionally clean! Let’s help keep it this way for everyone to enjoy!

Lovely park with river and and waterfall in the center of town with walking trails and areas to sit or walk the dog.

This park earns Greenville the title of having the prettiest city downtown area. It's incredible to see how much work has gone in to create this oasis. Great exercise with lots of stone stairs, but worth the spectacular views.

What a great river walk and bridge next to the falls. Our grandsons totally enjoyed our walk around the park area and downtown

This park and the falls are absolutely gorgeous. Plenty of places to eat in the surrounding area. Great photo opportunity. You can climb onto the rocks.

This park has a pretty waterfall, a suspension bridge, gorgeous flowers and foliage. its dog friendly and just a short walk from our hotel in downtown Greenville. Bring your camera!

This was a beautiful area, so impressive it’s right in the middle of downtown. Walking on the trail, over the bridge and near the water was so nice! Definitely a must-do!

An easy walk down Main Street from the Hyatt Hotel to Falls Park area.
The area has great waterfalls, trails and historic buildings in the city!

I’ve written previously about Greenville. There is probably no better small/medium town in the entire US that is more beautiful, has more activities, and more restaurant choices than Greenville. For any traveller coming through this region, it is well worth a stop of at least 2-3 nights in this area. You never know—- you might decide to live here!

Beautiful urban park with amazing walkover bridge. Walk among the treetops and fall leaves. Planning to visit again to explore the whole area. Recommended!

Three days and 20 miles says it all.
Dog friendly, people friendly and well maintained paths and trails help one experience the magnificent falls and trails along the Reedy

It was a bit crowded. Good place to stroll around and people watch. Many people taking pics around waterfalls.

Endless beauty, shopping, food & trails....seriously.
This park is a fantastic stop if you've never been here.
There are endless possibilities of things to do and no planning is necessary when visiting downtown/falls park.
The park cuts through/anchors all of downtown from one side to the next. The actual park is limited on area, but it connects to paths, walkways, trails (walking/biking), restaurants, shops, and more.
There are places to sit and listen to music and plays. There are spaces for picnics, playgrounds and additional parking on every side...so no matter where you want to enter/exit the park, you don't have to walk far to get to your car.
I would suggest Soby's or Ruths...both wonderful places to eat. Call ahead to make sure there's room and you don't need to wait/an appt for the night.

Great place to take a few minutes to relax. Beautiful view. A must for first time visitors. We've been several times, and it never gets old.

So pretty here! Well worth going. We enjoyed the whole park very much! The waterfalls were so cool that you could walk down right next to them & the view from the bridge is spectacular.

A quick evening trip to Greenville for dinner took us across the falls. What a beautiful setting for pictures or maybe even an engagement. The park area was very busy and the bridge across the falls was crowded. Over all a lovely place to relax, hang out with friends, maybe even enjoy lunch or dinner.

Walking part of swamp rabbit trail: the bridge, flowers and fantastic waterfalls. The wonderful downtown renovations the retail, restaurants and ice cream shop.

The best feature of downtown Greenville and an unusual park to find in a city — lovely paths, waterfall, benches, flowers.

This was my first trip to downtown Greenville. I was staying at a nearby hotel and asked the staff where I could go to get in some good walking steps. I have never seen such a scenic landscape in the middle of a downtown in my life. What a treasure to those who work in downtown Greenville.

Well worth the stop, can spend half an hour or probably half a day. We came on Sunday morning prior to returning home - was already hot, but so beautiful. Lots of flowers blooming, someone playing music, lots of dog and people-watching to do.

Awsome Park to visit, well kept and very clean. Very nice walking area and waterfall features. Plenty of bars & restaurants nearby for afterwards too.

The whole park area including Liberty Bridge was well done. Lots of places to walk or picnic or just stretch out and rest.

We've been to this park before when it was smaller and saw more then. Didn't see as much this time but it's a pretty place. You have to take stairs down to it but there is an elevator across the small, short street to the side of the Hampton Inn Riverplace that you can take to the bottom floor of the parking deck and walk out to the park (to the left) w/o taking stairs. It was cool & windy the day we were there end of March. Nice place though! You could stay as long as you like.

Very nice views, good landscaping. Walk along the river both sides of Main st. Greenville has very pleasant downtown in general.

We were staying at a hotel 2 blocks away and didn't even realize the park was there until we picked up some local literature. We're glad we took the time to visit. Lots of happy faces out enjoying a beautiful day and the beautiful falls. Because it is sunken below street level, you almost forget you're in a city. The landscaping was beautiful, as were the river and falls. It's a beautiful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life, even if you only get to spend 10 minutes there!

Our hotel was right behind the falls so we walked there quite often. The view from the bridge is great. (Photo op). I do not recommend getting into the water as many people do as there are signs posted about the danger of high bacteria levels.

We came here while TS Zeta was blowing through. The crowds were minimal and the falls were absolutely roaring. We felt so incredibly insignificant with the power that we were witnessing. Even more amazing were the ducks, who would be clobbered by this white water extravaganza, swimming in the quiet side pools - like whatever. It was an awesome experience that consistently makes this city one of our favorites. I think you will enjoy it too. Just remember - poor weather works for you here!

This is such a beautiful area in Greenviile. Our daughter was in the inaugural class for the Governor's School for the Arts, which is adjacent to the park. At that time the Reedy River wasn't developed. The kids used to do their homework along the banks of the waterfall. It was wild and beautiful then, but it is even more beautiful now. The city did an amazing job of taking a natural treasure and creating a city centerpiece that makes Greenville a great destination for a day trip, an event location, or as a wonderful place to call home. Added to that, the restaurants and shops that surround the park are all lovely with an interesting mix of different cuisines and offerings for many different tastes and pocketbooks. We live a couple hours away and still go back on day trips just to enjoy the park, it's walking trails, and the downtown area of Greenville.

beautiful walk on an cold day but too nice not to take the walk and area around it like main street.

We love this place! We try to take the kids as much as possible. It’s so peaceful to just sit and read or take beautiful family pictures!

Stunning park. At the beginning of the park find storyline signs. Well worth the walk. We came here after a meal and enjoyed the evening stroll with the waterfall in the background.

I can't love this area enough. I'm a Northener who keeps returning to this part of SC. I'm hooked and refuse to go through the state without a stop at this downtown. Worth a few hours of your time, stay a weekend at a hotel to walk around this town and you will not regret it!

A great park to spend some time walking through. Beautiful and well kept. A lot of nice restaurants and shops in the park.

Last weekend I was in Greenville, SC to cover Gran Fondo Bike Race and after the said events, I searched for some good spots for waterfalls, it gave me a lot in the list but I found this Reedy River Falls unique because it is located in the middle of the downtown!
I went there and I found it is indeed a nice place. I waited for a few minutes until sundown and another wait until the sky as my background will give me more impressive colors. As many say "Patience is a virtue", I was totally amazed at what I saw on my camera, and I never stop getting some other angle and different exposure on the place. As my title says, Picture speaks more than words!
The only odds about the place is parking, when I was there it was hard to get a parking.

Glad they took down the highway bridge to let the natural beauty shine through. It is a great place to walk through downtown Greenville.

Nice walk in the Greenville Downtown area. In walking distance to plenty of restaurants and shops. Like the views of the waterfall and city

Went to park on a beautiful spring day with family and had a very enjoyable time kicking around with the kids.

Even in Winter, it's a nice place to go for a walk, or a Segway Ride. On a January day, when it was a sunny 61 degrees, we went to Greenville Glides, and took a 90-minute Segway tour of the entire park, part of the Swamp Rabbit Trail and Unity Park. Super fun way to see the city. The falls were beautiful from above on the bridge, and below on the sidewalk path.

Beautiful views and plenty of places to stop and rest or grab a drink and bite to eat. We found some challenges getting to and from main streets with a stroller—some were due to construction work others were lack of ramps.

I've lived here nearly 30 years and only yesterday discovered the park below the Falls. Take the time to explore this amazing park!

My conference didn't start until 10 am so I utilized my free time to walk this wonderful downtown. I thoroughly enjoyed the park. It was clean, green and just a great place to spend a beautiful morning!

So scenic and fun to walk around and take it nature at its best. So close to food, shopping and hotels (even though those close to falls are pricey) Have visit several times never disappointed.

The Falls are so beautiful as well as the park surrounding them. A must see if you are going to Greenville. We stayed close enough to walk but there is plenty of parking around the area as well.

A great gem in the middle of the city. Great place to trail run, take a walk, or just sit on any of the beautiful benches/swings.

The Swamp Rabbit trail goes through Falls Park and Is the highlight. The impressive waterfall is wonderful. What a place to quietly enjoy life!

I was caught in total awe by this park in the middle of the city😳 It is simply perfection, their city and it’s planners nailed this one! Visiting from Atlanta and I’m simply jealous, yet happy we got to see it! A slice of heaven built by man😳

Great time. Plenty of space to do a lot of activities. A lot to see and incredible sights and spots for nice pictures. Pet friendly and well laid out.

We visit Greenville a few times a year and always make sure to stop by Falls Park. The river runs through the middle of Downtown Greenville and is beautiful. Liberty Bridge goes across it and is a great place to take photos. There are lots of green spaces to bring a picnic lunch or grab food from one of the nearby restaurants. It really is beautiful!

The views are beautiful and we had a relaxed afternoon over there. I was so touching when I saw a RF-86 jet flew by Major Rudolf Anderson who bravely served for our country in Korea War and Cuba Crisis.

I have tried to take walks in downtown Greenville and Falls Park three times recently before 9 a.m. and have been run off each time by groups of people refusing to wear masks or give any room on the sidewalks for anyone else. I'm not paranoid, but do wear a mask when out in public just in case, and expect people to observe the 6' distance. NOBODY gives any space. Tourists seem to be the worst, walking 3-4 abreast and taking up entire walkways. Not that townies - especially groups of older women - seem to have any common sense either.
There are a lot of runners and bikers who will not give way or slow down for pedestrians. In addition, there are a lot of street people occupying the benches and parks.
Really, with no mask ordinance here, go someplace else till this is over. We don't want you to get sick and we don't want you to take it back home with you as your souvenir of Greenville.

Very beautiful place to walk at any time.
Gorgeous fall in the middle of downtown, unexpected, well maintained.
Safety is a big deal, and there is nothing to worry about :)

I always love seeing the falls. Such a special place. I don't know of any other cities with a feature like this downtown.

Lovely metropolitan park on the falls. Still some work being done nearby, but it doesn’t detract from the beauty. Lots of space for walking and exploring.

The hidden gem in the heart of Greenville, Falls Park on the Reedy is everything a park should be.
We entered the park by way of Pedrick Garden at Falls Park, walked over a small bridge and down a side road to the park. We were able to get a great view of Liberty Bridge and could hear the falls.
Surrounded by restaurants, cafes and hotels all within walking distance, Falls Park boasts lush greenery lined paved walkways with benches and swings to sit, relax and enjoy the views and sounds of the falls. There are large open green spaces available for kids to play, families to picnic and relax and pets to roam.
The park was busy on the Saturday we visited, yet it did not feel crowded. There was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the area.
A true gem for nature lovers!
Take a stroll across Liberty Bridge to get the most expansive view of Reedy River Falls. Enjoy listening to the flow of water, natural white noise. From the bridge you will be able to see adults, kids, and dogs on the rocks below enjoying the shallow areas of the falls.
We were not able to fully explore the area to our liking due to our time constraints.
So we look forward to returning for a long weekend to explore this amazing park, the Greenville downtown and the surrounding areas soon.

Excellent place to relax, enjoy nature and people watch if you like. The park is meticulously arranged in different levels, the river and waterfalls are lovely. The area is surrounded with places to eat and drink a variety of menus. It is a refreshing place to visit.

A quaint little waterfall in the middle of town. The bridge is pretty at night, but not much to see. There has been a lot of renovations done to this area. A great area to walk around.

I walked the entire park every chance I got. It's done so well. It was my favorite attraction in Greenville.

We were not happy with many people out there who call this park their home. Their presence in numbers turned us off.

While staying in the area we came through here one evening on the way to a bar. This is a beautiful part of town, with nice walkways along the Reedy River and then this amazing bridge over the river falls area. At night it’s really beautiful, as they have colored lighting under the bridge too.
Definitely worth coming here for the views!

I can’t imagine how lovely it would be in spring, summer, and fall! Great walking trails amidst beautiful scenery surrounded by plenty of shops and restraints.

An absolute must see in downtown Greenville. Beautifully designed and landscaped this park is an escape from the hustle and bustle of Main St. The Park is quite popular, so go on weekdays or early mornings for the best views.

Everything useful. Lovely and refreshing and peaceful. A most naturally beautiful urban park. Beautiful place. Very impressed.

Had not been to Greenville before and Falls Park was on our list of must sees. It did not disappoint. The view from the walking bridge is amazing. We’ll kept grounds and walking paths.

As I drove from New Jersey to Pensacola, Florida, I needed to stretch my legs. I minimally knew about this site, so I decided to visit it on a whim. Greenville was perhaps ten (10) minutes off of Interstate-85. The parking was for a fee until 6:00 PM, but there were parking lots. I loved the views of the waterfalls, and the bridges were great to traverse. There were many steps, restaurants, plants, and stores. There were also public restrooms with an elevator to get to them. I felt safe within this busy area. I walked around for about forty-five (45) minutes.

Beautiful scenery, but do not drink the water or get too into it. Haha Absolutely scenic! There’s plenty of park to explore, take the dogs, grab a milkshake at Spill the Beans before you walk around, too.

Beautiful area near downtown Greenville with a beautiful river, falls, paths for walking, places to relax or picnic, all a short walk from great restaurants. Lovely area.

Really enjoyed ourselves. Dog loved it too. Spend 3 hours walked most of it and took lots of pictures.

This place is a beautiful place to have a picnic or spend the afternoon and it’s so close to restaurants that you can stay for the evening too. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful park right in the center of Greenville. Lots of paths, benches, swings, outdoor spaces, and more to explore! The water falls are beautiful and there are bridges to walk over to get great views.

What a great urban plan to have Cleveland Park in city center. A great place to enjoy the view and picnic. Don't worry if you forgot to pack a picnic because there are eateries nearby

This park is in the middle of the downtown and a wonderful addition to Greenville. I understand the area was in disrepair for many years but the area was revitalized and now is a gem. We saw the Shakespeare group rehearsing for an upcoming show on the grassy area in the park. I wish we were in town longer to see the play. We saw some brides having pictures taken there. A few scary people but they were not aggressive. We left before dark.

The Falls Park in the center of Greenville is amazing. It is on the Swamp Rabbit Trail so it is one of the trail. There are several views of the falls and places to walk or relax.

Very pretty park area. Very good planning and execution of park space. The Swamp Rabbit Trail, which is so nice, goes into the park. Downtown city blocks are festive and pretty. Adults have fun finding the small mice that are hidden, in plain sight, along the Main Street.
One complaint, and I don’t know if this is a Southern thing, is that so many stores close early, aren’t open on Mondays or Tuesdays, or post store hours and are closed during them! Don’t expect to shop after dinner, and most restaurants are not open 7 days a week.

Excellent park for a walk with Fido!!!! Free Parking is tricky, but can be done! It can be quite busy so recommend short leash for Fido!

Absolutely gorgeous, peaceful, tranquil to just walk. We walked three times and took the Segway tour through the park. So incredible, the falls, the trees, flowers. Highly recommend. Pick a hotel right in the river to enjoy the park views if you can.

Very nice City Park. As good as advertised. Maybe the nicest Downtown Park I've seen in the US. Very nice walk on a pretty day.

It is just amazing that the city built and enhance this natural paradise. Congratulations Greenville, it is remarkable achievement. A gem of a town.

It was surprise, to see in the middle of the city, such a nice park with waterfalls.
To get there on early morning, I've used UBER. I was trying to use maximum of my free time in this city. Because my hotel was in different part of town, I've needed a quick transportation.
I took a lot of pictures of the park and other surroundings.
The weather was beautiful, there was almost no people(yet).
I've found this park as very interesting place.
The time spent in the park, by the river and by the falls was priceless.
It was re-charging of my batteries for another part of business day.
I was happy to be there when my colleagues were sleeping....
I recommend this park.

We stayed at the Hampton and this park was at our doorstep. What an asset to the city! So many places to explore right from the park. Go see and enjoy!

What a beautiful day at Reedy Creek. Wife and I hiked the Swamp Rabbit Trail and the river walk. So much to see and do in Downtown Greenville. Lots of fantastic restaurants in walking distance. We will revisit soon with our bicycles.

Beautiful at night and daytime. We grab a coffee and walk the bridge. Always something to see and stroll by. The park is always well kept and beautiful. Just hard to find free parking. :/

The city did a very nice job of incorporating Falls Park into it dining and entertaining venue of downtown. It is very relaxing and extremely picturesque.

This is one of the prettiest parks I've ever seen. The picture above does not do it justice. The flowers around the river were beautiful and the trails were paved.

Would love to visit again.
Great views of falls. Lots of nearby upscale restaurants with falls views.
Several bridges over the falls.
Great landscaping and architecture in the park. Lots of places to explore.

This is a beautiful spot in the middle of the city. We only had a little over an hour to spend in the park but I think it would have been easy to stay for most of a day to explore all the garden areas and river views. It was nice that so much of the walkways were graded gently enough that people with mobility issues can get around.

This is a really cool waterfall that you can observe from a suspension bridge that is in the middle of Falls Park. Not a far walk from downtown about a 5 minute walk from the Westin. Cant wait to come back next time we are in town.

I have been to Greenville South Carolina before. It's a great city, but the downtown, with its EXCELLENT restaurants, is really crowded, no matter the time of day, so getting into a place to eat can be a challenge even on a weekdays (don't people have to work??) This park is right in the center of town. Really cool to have a waterfall and a beautiful park in the center of town. Too bad Greenville isn't on the ocean.

Falls Park is adjacent to downtown and primarily offers views to those who visit. It's not a very large park. You can walk down the river a little in a couple directions, but there isn't really any larger recreational space to speak of. The main deal here is the falls, which is pretty and a nice feature for downtown to have. The bridge above it is a lovely complimentary design. The only real activities Falls Park offers is scenic places to sit and relax. Because of that, it's not really anything above average to me. It's worth a peek, but you'd be hard pressed to spend more than 30 minutes.

Great place for everyone. Lots of space to walk around, run, explore, relax, enjoy the scenery. It's an oasis in the middle of the city, makes you feel like you're out in the wilderness, yet you're right by all kinds of restaurants and downtown happenings.

The falls and nice restaurants and shops downtown. we walked the riverfront and main street and found a nice variety of places.

We visited here about 3 years ago in order to view the solar eclipse. We were back for a weekend visit to Greenville, and we walked through here several times. If you see a timeline of how this area was connected with the city over time, it is especially impressive what they've done with it in the last 20 years. It is hard to believe that it was almost covered up with vegetation, pollution, and a traffic bridge through most of the 1990s.
Thankfully, someone had the foresight to re-focus and anchor the downtown on this revitalized area. There are so many restaurants and shops to enjoy (there were probably more pre-COVID). The fact that the Swamp Rabbit Trail terminates here and allows walking / running / biking for miles to the north is an added attraction.
Any downtown would be lucky to have any sort of feature remotely similar to this. It really sets Greenville apart, IMO.

We just visited Greenville from Florida and Falls Park was on our list of places to visit. What a lovely park with waterfalls and and pretty grounds. The Wings of the city are on display throughout the park and there is a beautiful "Medusa" tree as well. The suspension bridge was fun to walk across and gave a nice view of the park. We highly recommend and will be back to visit the park next time we are in town.

I love, love, love this park. I think it is my most favorite place in the world. The scenery is unmatched. Only caveat - lots of walking and lots of stairs if you choose to see more than just the falls. I forgot about this and I was sore the next day. Still worth it!

It's a beautiful park and I loved the view of the Falls from the bridge. But I have to disagree with its "handicap accessibility". I use an electric scooter and couldn't make it back up the ramps. The elevator got me to the lowest level. There are signs on the restaurant between that and the bridge access that say "customers only", so I had to take the ramps up a level. A stranger was kind enough to push me. We wandered on down, but I ended up waiting at the red sculpture for my husband to walk back to the car and come for me.

I’ve been to Greenville several times. I always head to this park. It is the center of Greenville’s universe. Lots to see when hen you get there. Lots to do along the way

Set in the middle of downtown, this water fall is absolutely amazing. Bridges run over the falls so you can cross. Nice place.

Wow, what a surprise to find this gem in the middle of Greenville. I heard the area was getting great reviews so we drove up from Atlanta for the weekend. It did not disappoint! The Park on Reedy was unexpected and just beautiful with places to sit or have a bite to eat while overlooking the river. Progress can be good when it's geared toward open space and the environment. Well done Greenville!

Went up from Charleston to check out Greenville for the weekend and to catch a great concert with "For King and Country". Wondering around Greenville we stumbled upon Falls Park on the Reedy. This place was beautiful! The Suspension bridge was amazing and the waterfalls with all the geese and ducks was just so surreal. Even with all the people it was just a quiet and natural place to sit and relax. This place was very enjoyable and relaxing.

Peaceful environment and smooth walking trails with plenty of steps too! Very family friendly. We were so excited that it started snowing while we were walking.

Great place to go chill and have some peace at mind. I'm glad they built it for more ppl to come to the greater greenville and experience one of a kind of place. Been in greenville my whole life and I'm raising my family here now

This is one of our favorite places to visit! The trails, waterfall, eateries are just beautiful. The grounds are kept immaculate, and this is just a wonderful place to walk and see downtown Greenville. This is definitely a must see when you’re in Greenville.

It is amazing what the city has done here. The falls are very pretty. The Swamp Rabbit Trail begins here. Also to be seen is the cancer survivors park. A great place to just walk and enjoy.

The park was an easy walk from our hotel and pretty much in the middle of all the downtown action including Artisphere. Whatever city planners and mayor approved this project, they are to be commended. The combination of natural beauty, landscaping, history (Dukes Mayonnaise, who knew?) and businesses had us returning every night.

Such a nice gathering spot for visitors and locals. We loved walking alongside the river and enjoying the views from the suspension bridge.

Beautiful and peaceful even though it's right in the center of downtown. The walk is fairly easy and there are places to sit and relax along the way. This is one of our favorite parks!

Neat little spot downtown. Beautiful area for a short walk, near all the attractions. Love downtown Greenville! Amazing city, and a great place to live, or visit.

Amazingly Beatiful, Handicap accessible, public restrooms, a bit surprised to find a homeless woman huffing bleach inside

Such a beautiful surprise tucked into a downtown! Some rocky trails- watch your step! Leading to some beautiful falls areas. Kids/animals/people on bicycles/people lounging on the grass. Just a beautiful place to wander around in nature.

Lovely park - absolutely beautiful! Amazing place to visit. Park nearby and walk to the main entrance.

Wow! South Carolina is gorgeous in October! The city is clean and the suspension bridge is wonderful for pictures! I also saw the amphitheater, which I’d be delighted to attend a show or concert. Great job South Carolina! I’m impressed

Falls Park is amazing. It is situated in downtown Greenville with a beautiful waterfall and twisting views of the Reedy River, Liberty Bridge and perfectly landscaped gardens. Lovely urban oasis.

This is a beautiful green park full of gorgeous flowers. It is such a wonderful surprise that this little
“Forest “ is in the middle of downtown Greenville SC. The Chihuly sculpture is also a lovely surprise. Gorgeous place for a walk or to stop and read or just have a zen moment.

Such a beautiful place to spend time. Me and my 6 kids ages 3 to 15 enjoyed the trails and water. Many things to see and do along your trail.

Nice paths throughout the park. Steps can be steep at times. Lots of places to eat near by. Very busy on the weekend. There are a few parking lots within an easy walk.

We are visiting family in town and have not been downtown in a few years. This year we are staying at the Westin downtown on the main street with lots of restaurants and bars. The park and surrounding areas are great places to wonder around, take photos and enjoy the city / river scene.

The falls are so beautiful and the surrounding area was a please t touch with the areas to sit and enjoy the sounds of the music or the falls or to people watch

What a beautiful park in the middle of downtown Greenville, SC! The falls and grounds are beautiful. Downtown restaurants close by for a delightful lunch or dinner!

great place to dine fine food, great service, wonderful servers.
if you dine out side the view is great

It’s the best attraction in Greenville. It’s the only attraction in Greenville. Wish there was more in town and we would visit more often

This is a beautiful attraction that runs right through the heart of the city and keeps the downtown area very lively. Great for families, great for relaxing, great for just hanging around with the boys. It's a nice place just to spend time walking around and admiring nature.

If you come to Greenville, this is one of the “musts” to put on the list..as is one of the many restaurants or shops in the area. Very nice Greenville!

A friend of ours told us about
greenville, S.C. and so we stopped and spent the night on our way to the coast. I was so impressed with the downtown area. It is very walkable with lots of shops and cafes and then you get to Falls Park which is a very unique park like multitiered area with a bridge across the river. We enjoyed it so much we may go back and spend more time!

We visited three separate parks in the city of Greenville and they are incredible. Well thought out and well maintained.

This is a fun, relaxing, peaceful way to spend any time of day or year. The falls are wonderful, and the park itself is well landscaped. It is very hilly, but there are ramps for the mobilly challendged.

This area is beautiful and clean. There are lots of paths for walking, easy access spots for kids to play in the water, and a few picnic tables, benches, and swings. My only complaint is that it can be hard to find parking, but that would not stop me from visiting in the future.

Beautiful area right in downtown Greenville. Really enjoyed the views from suspension bridge. Very cool area to walk and chill!!

Clean. Family Oriented. Low Key. Lots of kids playing. Benches everywhere. Bring a ball or a frisbee. Watch the geese---they are everywhere.

This is a lovely park downtown Greenville. Easy walking, pretty river, and a neat bridge, Liberty Bridge, to walk across.
I enjoyed the scenery, and how there were families there enjoying the park. There is a greenway also to walk from there to the zoo, if you do not mind a fairly lengthy walk. But along the way there are nice places to see.
I love walking and being outdoors, so this park was really enjoyed.

What a beautiful area for walking and biking. If you are in Greenville, set aside an hour or two to walk along the river and visit the falls. I can't wait to get back see the things I missed due to time constraints

My friends and I took our first trip to Greenville and stayed in a downtown hotel. We were thrilled to have this park just a few blocks away. We walked through it, over the suspension bridge, sat on the swing bench and picked up some gelato to eat while looking at the waterfall. We talked with a local playing with his dog and enjoyed the early spring flowers. Great place to enjoy!

After we finished a great lunch at Hall’s we decided to walk some. The river walk is the perfect location for this. You can spend as much time as you like and still wish you had stayed longer. Be sure and take some pictures!

A must see while you are in town...and a nice way to get your steps in. Great place to spend an afternoon.

What a beautiful park!! The waterfall was amazing and you can wade into it at the bottom. We enjoyed watching the ducks that gathered at the bottom. The bridge above the falls makes for great pictures and viewing. We hiked the trails / greenways throughout the park and the entire city is so well kept and maintained. Reminded us alot of Asheville, NC...lots of artsy areas, bistros(one overlooking the falls!) and breweries downtown. Make sure you hike all of the areas past the main falls...so many little hidden quiet areas with statues, pavilions and history. We will for sure be returning to GReenville for a longer stay to explore more of the park and city.

Very pretty spot to take a walk and meander a bit. Its not a big hike or strenuous just convenient and pretty to look at.

Beautiful place to visit. It was very relaxing, swinging on the swings and listening to the water flow over the rocks. The downtown area is gorgeous with lots of different restaurants and coffee shops.

The bridge over the falls is architecturally very cool. The falls are pretty. There are a lot of nice restaurants and small shops to wonder about on both sides of the park. The Swamp Rabbit bike trail connects to the park. There are nearby places to rent bikes from

The highlight of our short 2 day trip was seeing the River run through Greenville with walking across the suspension bridge. That was followed by our in town stroll finding the awesome restaurant, Lost Cajun. The 2nd day we traveled to the various mountain areas taking advantage of all the perfect Kodak moments. Afterwards we returned to the same restaurant knowing it would be the best ending to our adventurous day.

Great place to take a walk or just relax by the falls. The park is at the heart of downtown and has many shops and restaurants within walking distance. It’s also a beautiful area for photos and we saw 2 different wedding parties there that afternoon.

Downtown Greenville, SC becomes one of the local and international tourists favorite destination. A small town where more than a hundred restaurants. Downtown Mainstreet friday events usually starts March to October. Live Band sponsored by the Citt of Greenville where locals and other visiting tourists where they enjoys the lovely evening, dancing and drinking.

LOVE the waterfalls! One of the most beautiful places to visit. Its a must when visiting Greenville, SC.

Years ago a highway overpass occupied this space which was squalid and neglected. Visionary city leaders started a movement to tear down the highway and construct a pedestrian bridge over the falls of the Reedy River. Stroke of genius! This area is now an urban sanctuary for families, couples and anyone else who wants to take in the beauty of the falls and the serenity of the river. Easily accessible from downtown Greenville. Take your time there.

This park right through the center of Greenville is amazing. A very cool bridge, beautiful waterfalls and it connects up with the Swamp Rabbit Trail. We loved it so much we're going back tomorrow.

We love this park. It is absolutely beautiful. When we have family visit, we always take them here. Such a nice walk and it never seems too crowded.

What a great use of space in the heart of the city. It's a clean, beautiful area by the river & falls with plenty of green space, pedestrian bridges, jogging/walking paths, swings, nearby eateries, hotels, etc. It's brilliantly landscaped and so aesthetically pleasing. Love it!

Such a nice in town park. Right in the middle of Greenville SC. We had a great time walking around and admiring the beauty.

Wish we have a park like this where we live. Lots of people relaxing and enjoying the day. If you plan on visiting, wear clothing that allows you to wade out into the water or even swim.

As you can see the river park is a very pretty place. There are many hotels and concept restaurants to choose from in the downtown area. You should walk down E. Washington St. to get a feel for the city. A very corporate model in my opinion. We were in the area to visit a brewery so we took time out for very nice walk. Found a free parking space on the bridge overlooking the river.

We were visiting family and needed to find something to do between visits. Walked thru Reedy park. Beautiful walk along the Reedy creek. The city planners that envisioned and implemented this, did a great job. Several places to eat along the way.

We had a wonderful afternoon walking around the park. We enjoyed the beautiful view and rich Greenville history. Quite nice for a family walk or an individual stroll.

There's great senery and a walking bridge that I wasn't a fan on walking on but it was packed. Other than that, its a park to relax and enjoy the view.

I’ve lived in Greenville for 17 years and seem a lot of changes - not all good. I was hugely surprised by what I found downtown along the park and city streets next to the river on Sunday evening.
During the day Greenville is a typical middle
class modern city with too many restaurants but friendly people. People smile and say Hello and are polite
Sunday night I thought I had slipped into another dimension. Main St was teeming with noisy cars: windows down and blaring music. Then there were the groups of
motorcycles also raving engines and blaring music. Lots and lots of young people in groups milling around. Street musicians at several places with small dance parties around them. Lots of calling and yelling. It didn’t seem terribly dangerous, though it could easily have become so, but it was also not the Greenville of the ads for serene, leisurely dining and strolls along the river.
It was certainly not a family atmosphere.

Falls Park is a nice little park right in the middle of Greenville. It was a short walk from our hotel, and right on Main Street. You can get a nice view and some good pictures from the suspended walkway. When you're finished, you can walk right up Main Street to shop or get a meal.

What a beautiful place! You get to walk along the river, cross the suspension bridge, gaze at the flowers, listen to musicians, Grab coffee, and shop while enjoying this downtown area.

There's always something to see here. From the outdoor music area, to the Medusa tree on the hill, there's always little special areas to explore. Great for kids and free! Not to mention there's little restaurants clustered around to grab a bite.

Falls Park on the Reedy in Greenville is a cool park that has many features including views of the river and waterfalls, trails, gardens, pedestrian bridges, and plenty of green space to sit down and relax and get some fresh air. I like how there is so much to see and do here and how the park is well maintained. If you are in the area this is well worth checking out.

We enjoyed the quick walk from the Westin to the Falls and much to our surprise as we were almost there, we heard geese honking as they were circling in for a landing! We saw a nice group of them on the water and enjoyed the sound of the water over the falls. I was excited to see what looked like American Beauty Berries right next to the bridge as I have just put up two dozen jars of Beauty Berry Jelly! I’ll include a picture, someone may want to go forage them and make up delicious jelly!

This is a beautifully designed park. It is so enjoyable anytime of day and for any group of people. I have been with kids, adults, dates, family outings, you name it. It's a great compliment to the areas around it as well as there are places to get coffee, ice cream, or a meal.

Great park at any time of the day or night. Good views. Nice lighting at night. We really enjoyed it.

I knew it would be nice but nothing could have prepared me for how majestic it was. Everything is clean, the views are amazing, so many paths to take around the water or into the city. It’s amazing!

The park and falls was as beautiful as the first time my husband and I saw it. This trip, I brought my daughter to see the falls and have lunch nearby. Sadly, the walkway over the falls was closed for repair, but we did go to the bottom of the falls and walked all over the many paths to see it in different angles. It was beautiful and she was so impressed. A very enjoyable time and hoping that our next visit we will be able to go out on the bridge overlooking the falls for a different view. Spectacular as usual.

I went on a summer Sunday afternoon, and it was crowded (not surprised). That part didn't bother me in the least, except maybe difficulty finding a close parking space. The park, bridge and falls were beautiful!!! However, several tall buildings are under construction right on the river. I realize this park is downtown, but that really takes away from the overall ambience. Also, there were many bicyclists on the walkways. Normally, this wouldn't pose any problems, but when there are crowds of people with young children walking and enjoying the scenery, this is not good. I did see several minor bike collisions with people. Lastly, there were some people with large dogs (including pit bulls). These are best left at home, as there were numerous "barking skirmishes" with smaller dogs. Had it not been for these issues (overdeveloping, bicyclists, large dogs), I would rate it a 5; with those in mind, my rating is a 3.

My wife and I walked around this area many times during a recent trip to Greenville. This area is super clean and so relaxing. This is what makes Greenville a very special place.

Lots of people and dogs strolling by, or in, the water. Doesn't take long to see everything if walking, but can also just sit and enjoy the sounds of the falls and the people-watching.

One of my favorite parks that I have been to. Beautiful landscaping. Lots of places to walk or sit and listen to the water.

Enjoyed the area very much! Pleasant walk, beautiful river, and excellent restaurants. Go anytime, morning, afternoon, or evening.

Worth the time. Very nice stroll. The views are amazing. Plenty of nice stores and restaurants to choose from. Will definitely return in the spring to see what it looks like when the trees and leaves are full.

Falls Park on the Reedy River must be my favorite city park with waterfall I have seen as a tourist. The bridge adds even more atmosphere and accessibility to all restaurants, hotels and shopping.
It adds such an awesome and unique experience to the city. Because of the elevator my husband could enjoy it without climbing steps. The entire park system around the Reedy River is terrific. Such great space and special outdoor features and sculptures. I will visit again and again.

Long weekend in Greenville... Fantastic Small City with lots to offer...! Falls Park is an amazing place... lots of views, walking trails, place to enjoy food or drink... Pet-friendly Place...!!! Loved visiting... do not miss this wonderful Historic City...!

Falls Park on the Reedy was so pretty and peaceful! There were a lot of restaurants and shops nearby to keep you entertained all day.

Falls Park in Greenville SC is a jewel.
It is located in the center of the town and meanders thru several blocks. There are many walkways down to the falls, which are beautiful. The park has several areas for people to gather or just sit and relax. With the stairways, ramps and bridges there seems to be endless places to travel. The flowers were just starting to bloom on our visit so the beauty will continue for a while.
There are many restaurants and bars located around the park that offer great views.
This is a definite stop if you are visiting the Greenville area!

Nice park right downtown. Can spend a few minutes walking through or a few hours hanging out. Our daughter (age 7) kept busy throwing stones into the river and playing near the waterfall. Close to many hotels, restaurants, etc. Wrapped up with a nice walk through town and ice cream.

The Falls are one of the best reasons to go to Greenville.
Absolutely beautiful, and located right downtown withing walking distance of most activities.

Great walking paths, beautiful gardens. It was a Saturday but didn't feel crowded. Highly recommend spending a few hours walking around

With beautiful pathways, stairs, bridges & waterfalls this is such a fun area to take the kids back there are some areas under construction currently but there is still so much open space! Parking on the outer edges of the park & great restaurants and coffee shops just off the main path. Give yourself plenty of time to walk & enjoy this stunning park!

Greenville is such a nice growing little city. The downtown is wonderful - pretty with the waterfall running right through the middle of it. Walk on the swing bridge over it is a must. If your feet hurt sit on a big rock and soak them in the cold water. Lots to do. Safe and clean tiwn.

We saw part of how falls across the street and wasn’t impressed; then we crossed the street and saw the rest of the falls and park area. It is a great feature. We have to come again to walk the whole stretch when it’s not so hot . We were the in August.

We stopped here for a visit after walking on the swamp rabbit trail. Very nice enjoyable morning, maybe a little cooler than I'm used to being from Southern California but very scenic and well worth the visit.

The Falls, Walkable Suspension Bridge and the beautiful maintained landscape along the Reedy River is an excellent choice for a morning walk, or afternoon/evening stroll.
There is shopping and restaurants nearby as well as chain hotels. This was our first visit to Greenville and we will definitely be back.

None of the guide books mentioned that there is no park parking. By time my husband could walk from a parking garage or limited on street parking he would not be able to enjoy the park. There was also a lot of street construction in the area.
It sounds lovely, but it was inaccessible to us.

This park is very clean and provides a long walk or bike ride along the river. I felt very safe on a five mile walk by myself.

enjoyed strolling through the park especially now that the weather is starting to cool off. good location for anyone.

Perfect walk on beautiful paths with excellently planned landscaping.
The suspension bridge is both a marvel and a great photo op! 😁
Look below to see plans for a beautiful lodge...

1st time in Greenville and what a surprise! City fathers did a great job reclaiming this land and creating a memorable destination park for this city. Great meandering paths to walk, run or ride. Plenty of seating all around. Metered parking on the street is not too difficult to find during a weekday.

Love this park, super clean, lots of trails & places to eat along the Reedy River. I walk along the park after work when I'm in town on business and feel safe & at ease. Love visiting when I'm in Greenville.

This was amazing! We were so surprised about how big it was in downtown- walking around it was like we were in our own world- beautiful experience

These waterfalls cannot be beat. The suspension bridge makes the experience scary but fun at the same time. The biggest plus, it's free!

What a gorgeous place right in the city! If you're a fan of waterfalls, suspension bridges and beautiful parks, this is a spot to spend some time. While it was beyond lovely in summer, I'd think that spring and fall would be equally stunning. One evening during our visit, we changed restaurant plans just to have the chance to get take out and picnic here.

Stunning location, family friendly and beautifully designed. A perfect location for a walk with family or friends

We took our dog and little girl to Falls Park on the Reedy while visiting Greenville. The waterfall is about 28-feet and quite impressive right in the middle of downtown. There is 2-hour parking at a lot as well as street parking in the area, but arriving early, around 9, we were able to park in the lot. The trails are paved and there are ramps to get around stairs so we could push our daughter in a stroller. Great views of the waterfall from the trails and Liberty Bridge. The longer distance Swamp Rabbit Trail runs through the park and we extended our hike heading down to the zoo and back. Overall, a great park and must-see if visiting Greenville.

The area was clean and the landscaping in the surrounding park was wonderful. The views were nice as well. Lots of seating available and many things to eat or do close by.

Beautiful falls in the middle of town. I had heard about falls in town and decided to follow the signs to “Falls Park”. Im happy I did. Beautiful, serene and not something you see in California. I walked along the path and back up to the river front and outside auditorium. Im sure if it had not been during COVID, there would have been music and a lot more people on a warm summer evening.

Lovely bit of nature in the middle of the city. If I hadn't been with older family members, I would have taken the younger down to play in the water. Great area for a picnic or to escape the sun. Beautiful.

This is a truly wonderful park. There are spaces for a leisurely stroll, to connect up to the greenway, to chill in the river, to walk up to restaurants. The park has clean restrooms with water, plenty of places to sit and relax, gardens to enjoy, and access to downtown. You can pop in for 15 minutes, but could easily spent a pleasant 3-4 hours.

Go across the bridge and enjoy the waterfall views, walk down the beautiful stone steps for a more up close view.

Beautiful & very clean. Parking is easy. Plenty of restaurants and boutiques to shop. The water is so soothing and the people are friendly. Great for walking or biking.

Absolutely breathtaking falls in center of downtown Greenville, with plenty of green space for walking or just sitting by the river.

Falls Park is still a lovely place for a stroll. Located in downtown Greenville it is a must see when you come to town.

Great walk in city center. One of the best walks. Public bathrooms, scenic and food. The waterfall is worth it for photography.
Greenville is nice city.

This is the heart and soul of downtown Greenville. What an accomplishment of the city and its leaders. The park and falls are beautiful and the gardens and walkways around it are fantastic. Bistros and bars dot the landscape and Main Street completes an amazing area. Well done Greenville.

What a gorgeous river and falls in the middle
of a city. This is by far the best feature of the city. It is worth walking or biking around the surrounding trails as well. And looking down from Liberty Bridge.

Wow ! What a city! Just fantastic the way they laid this all out around the rocks, river and waterfalls!

The pictures are all true - stunning park int he heart of downtown Greenville! We went when the temp was about 42f and drizzly and still had an amazing time walking around and taking in the sights and sounds!

This place is beautiful! Very, very dog friendly. It’s also well designed for wheelchairs and strollers. If you’ve got kids, be sure and check out the “Storybook Garden”.

The Reedy Falls bisect Greenville’s downtown, creating scenic nature views up and down Main Street even in an urban area. Falls Park integrates the urban surroundings with the Falls to great effect.

On a hot July day in Greenville, walking around this area was a refreshing treat! The views were great from a variety of paths and it’s nice to be able to spend a little or a lot of time here. Ramps made it accessible and seating options were scattered throughout.

It’s a beautiful park setting surrounded by fine restaurants and hotels, but plenty of green. And of course there is the waterfall!

Falls Park is a stunning place to relax and enjoy nature right in the heart of Greenville. Bring a blanket or chairs to sit comfortably under the bridge and take in the peaceful scenery. Yo can bring snacks and drinks to enjoy with the family. There is also a small beautiful garden to enjoy.
We were lucky to catch a free outdoor play — Two Gentlemen of Verona — such a great surprise! You can leave a tip to support these amazing performances so they can continue bringing culture to the park.
You'll also find local artists and musicians in the area, like a saxophone player near the fountain, which adds to the park’s charm. Don’t forget to take a photo at the Centennial Tree and right in front of the beautiful waterfall — both are iconic spots!
A perfect place to unwind, explore, and enjoy a bit of everything — nature, art, and community.

My husband & I wanted a morning walk around Greenville with our coffees. This area has a cool trail you can hop on & off of for different pics ~ love the sections where you can take a break, rest & just enjoy the scenery. Landscaping is so pretty!

We absolutely love this park! It’s a little slice of heaven tucked inside the downtown area. Greenville residents are lucky to have this. I’m envious.

This park is one of the most beautiful and well designed you will find anywhere. The river flowing through the middle creates a soothing sound of rushing water. The center part has a natural waterfall. The park is super clean and well maintained.

Hard to believe you are in downtown Greenville. Standing on the suspension bridge the view is just amazing. All the nature and open space makes it just jaw dropping beautiful.

Beautiful falls with bridge to walk downtown. One of the coolest downtown areas I have ever seen. Definitely make a point to stop downtown if you are in Greenville.

If you are downtown take a short walk to the falls. There is so much to see as you walk down Main Street and when you come to the falls the bridges really add to the experience. During our visit we had the perfect day and the crowds were small. It was so nice to relax and hear the water. Well worth it.

South Carolina become so gorgeous and beautiful in November. They city is clean and the suspension bridge is wonderful for pictures! I also saw the amphitheater, which I’d be delighted to attend a show or concert. Lovely park with river and and waterfall in the center of town with walking trails and areas to sit or walk the dog. I'm so impressed with this lovely park along with river and waterfall in the center of town.

This waterfall was beautiful and it was a very popular area for tourists. We managed to get parking on the street and had a short walk to the actual falls which was easily located by the sound.

We had only been in downtown Greenville once before this visit and did not have time to visit this park. While staying two days we took a couple hours to walk in from the east side of the park, go across the suspension bridge with the view of the falls and then view the gardens and walkways. The park is well maintained and it was nice seeing kids playing and rolling down the grassy slope and not wearing masks. There were a couple strange people in the park but appeared to be harmless and Greenville discourages panhandling. I highly recommend it, especially for kids.

Been along over the US and this is probably the best downtown I've ever seen, topped off by this park. It's beautiful, kid friendly without being overrun by kids, large enough for a good walk without feeling just like a big green space and plenty of nearby places to pop into for a snack, meal, or drink. Love this place

Visited here based on reviews. I love that it’s free and there’s a lot to see. We didn’t have time to do it all (also got hot). Beautiful flowers, falls, etc. A nice place to relax, take photos, walk, bike, whatever you’d like! Very dog friendly I noticed too.

This is definitely the number one spot in Greenville, South Carolina. The falls are an idyllic spot from the Liberty Bridge. Families and couples alike come to traverse the bridge and walk along the riverwalk. I highly recommend this place to any one in the Greenville area, locals and tourists alike.

What a magnificent park. This is one of the most beautiful parks we have ever been to. It is not just the unique bridge, but the layout of the park, with so many beautiful and peaceful places to explore and , of course, the waterfalls. Greenville has done an amazing job of making its downtown appealing and vibrant , and this park is the crown jewel. We found it to be a very special place. We would return every day just to spend some time walking and then sitting on the many benches that the city provided to take it all in. No need to say more–just go and explore and enjoy.

This is a wonderful park to visit! There are lots of shops and restaurants around. They always seem to have something going on. We visit here every time we're in Greenville. Liberty bridge is also here and the views are gorgeous. This is the number one place in the park to take pictures.

This is an absolutely beautiful park! We Definitely spend some time here while in Greenville. It’s located right on Main St. and has a number of pathways to walk along. The waterfalls are beautiful and many seem to enjoy playing in the river.

Pretty park with an awesome walking bridge going over across from the water falls. Lots of families enjoying the park. Nice addition to Greenville.

There was a bench along the path where you could sit and swing while watching the falls. Most zen moment of the trip!

Beautifully landscaped!!!! Great walk with my husband. Hot day but enjoyed the waterfalls, Canadian geese and ducks. Nice night out.

Beautiful! Fun to walk around. Pleasant vibes. Trails, falls, pleasant people. Felt safe walking around. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. Fun visit for the whole family!

See the falls, walk the bridge, see the shps and lots of restaurants. A beautiful downtown. A nice walk.

Although it was a very rainy day when we visited, the sheer beauty of the falls and surrounding area was not diminished. A walk across the Liberty Bridge highlighted our visit. We wish we had more time to spend here. Perhaps on another visit - preferably on a sunny day.

Such a relaxing and beautiful area. We enjoyed all the trees in fall colors. The paths were meandering and the falls were enjoyed by all. Kids playing on the stones, couples holding hands and people walking their dogs... Perfect sunday afternoon spot

What a lovely place to enjoy in the heart of Greenville! Beautiful place to enjoy. Take a picnic or just walk around and enjoy nature and a babbling creek with waterfalls and more.

Our rain shortened visit was so worth it. The layout, featuring an amazing foot bridge overlooking cascading waterfalls, was so well thought out. The entire area is so scenic, with an abundance of eateries and such throughout. Will definitely return when the weather cooperates.

This is a unique area within a city. Enjoy nature from above on the bridges or walk the trails along the falls and stream. Beautifl landscaping with steps to reach the main street or restaurants along the way.

Take your family and take in the water fall sounds!! Wonderful place for pictures and taking a stroll with the love of your life.

Tons of space and relaxing views here. We were able to enjoy our time despite the large amount of people out and about. This area seems set up for large amounts of people to have space. Very impressive.

We were delighted to see this park almost directly across from our Airbnb on the one evening we were in Greenville. Congratulations to the town for ensuring that this peaceful area is still available to all, right in the middle of Downtown.

The Falls Park is a wonderful place to go. it is a very relaxing place for you and your family to go and walk around or have a picnic. There is a fantastic view and many places to walk around and see. The only problem is that it is in the middle of the city, so it can be noisy, but there are always good distractions there. Overall, a beautiful park to visit.

What a gorgeous park, right in the middle of downtown. Cool, shady spots, sunny grassy areas and amazing flowers and sculptures everywhere. Don't miss this-it is the centerpiece around which Downtown Greenville has grown!

Simply beautiful. We went mid week so the crowds were non-existent. Very peaceful, the sounds of the water were so relaxing. Can't wait to come back when the weather starts to warm up.

This downtown is very nice. Very clean first class. It appears some of the homeless do like to congregate at the public restrooms located on the town side of the bridge above the french bistro. If you spend the night and can afford the high priced rooms the Bohemian appears to be the hands down place to stay.

Great view of the river and well manicured grounds. Enjoyed our views of the river wherever we went. A definite must to see.

We walk in a very hot summer day, if you are planning to walk fall park on the Reedy try to do it early in the morning, it was a very nice walk with tree shadows and nice water views.

The falls on the Reedy River were great. Wondered all through the park after having lunch outdoors at a Fench Bistro. Service was excellent and the food was good. So many places to choose from to eat. Would go again. The flowers were beautiful. The bridge was unique and had great views.

This is one of my favorite places to go when visiting Greenville. Various walking paths that lead you around the downtown area, including restaurants, hotels, and green spaces. Make sure you look for the Medusa Tree and enjoy the view from the suspension bridge!
Wonderful
Surprisingly close to the Courtyard Marriott hotel, it was a pleasant surprise. Great atmosphere, trails, everything was good.
