Something for everyone

By markristin |

We started out with a day planned for some shopping and lunch, but it ended up being much more. There are shops for everyone from teenagers to boat watching for men. Many shopping options for souvenirs. Two of my favorite stores had franchises there: Naples Soap and Spice and Tea exchange. You can take a boat cruise or rent a boat on your own. A few restaurant choices also. Great afternoon for everyone. The only downfall is they close at 6:00 PM

Great open air shopping

By Anne A |

Lovely open air shopping area with great restaurants, cute shops, and a wonderful hotel! during the busy season, get there early to get the best parking

Fisherman's Market is a wonderful place to visit for a few hours and soak in some sea air and beautiful sites.

By Marty De Los Cuetos |

We loved the shops, food and friendliness here. Very quaint and lovely! Finished off our day with the Fisher Fleet sunset cruise which was amazing!

Nice place to hang out.

By Carolyn |

Lots of shops and places to eat. Very pet friendly. Has boat tours of the area. It’s a nice area to ride bike that you can reserve right along the water.

Pricey and just ok.

By Ron T |

We went for dinner at the Captain’s Table. Everything was very pricey including the stores and the restaurants. The one neat thing that we saw there was a group of seniors playing the bagpipes. They were very good and it was a lot of fun to watch. That was about it. We were not impressed with the stores or restaurants.

Great location, excellent condition and service

By Tony L |

My wife and I spent 7 wonderful nights in a two bedroom ocean view unit. The unit was in excellent condition, with all the amenities we needed and more. The view of the daily sunset was spectacular. The staff provided exceptional service. We ate at all the restaurants on the pier. All were good although the prices reflected the Harbour side location. Plenty of shops on the pier, and the ice cream shop was particularly well visited. Parking is very convenient as a hotel guest. And you can walk a mile to downtown Punta Gorda. This was our first time in town and we highly recommend Fisherman’s village!

Nice destination for an afternoon

By OCNanSea |

Fishermen's Village is full of a mixture of clothes and home decor shops. There are several restaurants as well. A nice way to spend an afternoon, lunch and shopping.

The Village

By Lolly’s Look |

The Fisherman’s Village in Punta Gorda has restaurants, bars and shopping waterside. We came by boat and had a nice day on the water.

Going downhill

By Karleene K |

We generally vacation in the area every year. Lots of vacancies in the center and parking is really inadequate. Repairs still need to be made from Ian.

Nice open mall!

By Diane R |

I love this place, and go there every time I am in Punta Gorda. It is a large open type of mall on the water, with nice shops. I always find something to buy. At Christmas time, they have it really decorated up beautifully! A must see when in Punta Gorda!

Variety of stores

By out4agoodtime |

This is a nice stop. It has clothing, gifts, misc items for sale. The restaurants all have water views. You can get boat trips from the same area. Parking is free and plentiful.

First visit review

By DessertsDivaFL |

Holy moly! I thought this place was popular but I had no idea. This place was packed and stacked for the Christmas lighting event last Saturday night. I think there must have been at least 5,000 people there. It was nuts trying to find a parking place. You had to make your own.

We will come back for sure. There are a lot of nice shops which stayed open late for the event. There were free samples to taste here and there. Plenty to see and pet friendly. I really enjoyed the Tea & Spice Company store. The employees were helpful and friendly. The Naples Soap shop employees didn't even acknowledge me. They were acknowledging the ladies who appeared to have money. I know I don't dress like I have money but at least say "Hi".

We ate at Harpoon Harry's at the very end. It is a separate building so you have to walk around and to the back along the water to get inside.

Look forward to returning and maybe with my two little dogs.

Visited everyday!

By Jenni B |

We went to The Fisherman’s Village everyday of our stay in Punta Gorda. Great food, shopping, and rentals for sightseeing excursions.

Lovely day!

By SingingMima |

They offer a free shuttle within the Village -- great for people who can't walk long distances. Unique gift shops. Lots of restaurants. Construction going on when we were there, which made it difficult to get to several of the restaurants.

Special birthday celebration with my cousin!

By nasarijo |

Fisherman's Village was perfect for a recent getaway with my cousin who lives in the Punta Gorda vicinity. I flew into the very conveniently-located airport from SW Michigan and she drove over from her residence. We spent three nights in one of the Grande Harbor Sunset Suites - awesome accommodation! Wonderful to each have a bedroom with private bath and fully-equipped kitchen. Balcony provided a wonderful extended space and interest with boating and dolphin watching. We enjoyed the on-site restaurants and shopping opportunities. This is a wonderful accommodation for two women traveling as we felt secure on the property. Recommend nearby Elana's Restaurant for breakfast since currently the Village breakfast options are undergoing remodeling. Also found Iguana Land (a short drive) fascinating.

Busy place. Lots of construction

By Ironmummy44 |

Love shopping here for souvenirs for people. Wide variety of stores. Decorated for Christmas already. Can’t wait to see the unveiling of the pier.

Will go again!

By Linda F |

We shopped a little then lunched at a table looking out over the water. We ate at the Village Brewhouse. Lovely!

Visit

By 477gailp |

We walked around. Cute shops. Ate at Village Brewhouse and it was good. It was a Sunday afternoon and very busy.

Great experience

By larry |

Visited Fishermen's Village while on vacation. Wonderful experience, Great restaurants and shopping.

Better than expected

By HEATHER6 |

I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of shops and restaurants.

My main disappointment was that wasn’t truly the end the pier as one restaurant occupies this space.

Hope everyone makes it through this difficult time.

Lighting of the Village

By Stephen C |

Four of us attended this packed annual tree lighting event. The venue was packed. All the lights were beautiful and got us in the holiday spirit.

Lovely shopping area

By Carol D |

Nice stop on way downcoast, great views by beach area. Lots of shops and eating areas, free parking. Had a drink at the outside bar.

Marina Review, Boat Fuel

By ManyTravelsGirl |

We stopped here to fuel up our boat after a day trip. They close at 1730 (the marina fuel) so keep that in mind. The gentlemen were helpful and friendly. Didn’t shop fuel prices so cannot say if they were reasonable or not. They had both marine fuel and diesel Would use services again.

Nice place

By Brian B |

Lots of shops and restaurants.. just fun to walk around .. it’s little beach is perfect for watching sunset

Boating

By Elizabeth L |

Great time with Ken Rick and Mike on our lunches at Cabbage Key. Beautiful day on the water. Great food. Fun with friends.

Nice place for a rainy day

By johnjoslynlana |

We stayed up the street from the complex, it happened to be raining that day,so we decided to go and check it out. It was very nice. It had a nice coffee shop. My wife and I really enjoyed the Tea and Spice store. It was open air and we were able to take our small dog, we stayed about 1.5 hours, that was about the max you could spend here. Overall nice

Busy!

By DutchLace |

Fun touristy place. Fun shops to browse and purchase a few items. Couple of restaurants to choose from. Many have menus posted to view. Parking can be a bit tricky when busy, but there is large parking areas nearby. Didn't see anything but free parking in the area we were in.

New Years Celebration!

By fred e |

Visited for New Year's eve celebration. Music, games, stores, bars, and restaurants. Beautifully decorated for the holidays. DJ and live music. Fireworks at midnight. Plenty of parking and shuttle service.

Great Shopping area

By Janel T |

Great little local shops with plenty of clothing and tee shirts, beach themed items, nick nacks. We had a relaxing day walking through the shops. Great open air plan that is covered from the rain. Close parking, several restaurants, hand sanitizer stations all over.

Spring break

By Sujith I |

We have been here multiple times, Awesome spot on our way to Pompano Beach. Multiple Seafood and other resturants, ice cream places, Tea shops, shopping boutiques and so on. Small local places and very friendly folks.

Great shops to visit

By Levy R |

Dinner at Fisherman's warf. Clam chowder is best in the area. Shrimp coctail is enough for an entree.

Unique shops on the water

By Dawn G |

What a great waterfront place with shops and restaurants. Bought a shawl that was hand crafted in Bali for $30, a necklace and a cute plaque for a friend. Had a blast looking around and the unique shops. They have vacation rentals their as well which I would try out next time I visit

Shopping at Fisherman’s Village

By Carol G |

Liked the shops - most are boutique style so it’s a lot of fun because they carry many interesting things you don’t see everywhere else. Also, it’s a very charming atmosphere.

Enjoyed every second!

By patti k |

Fisherman’s village suites! My husband and I just returned from a beautiful weather week visiting friends here !Our room was overlooking the quiet pool and marina….it was a dream ..room very clean, beds comfortable, three tvs, large shower, great water pressure, room quite dark for sleeping, keurig coffee maker, very good room cleaners, and the convenience of the mall downstairs to shop and dine. Gorgeous sunsets and sunrises every day! We took a sunset cruise from our location too. Definitely would stay here again!

A walk through.

By larbonpast |

Plenty of shops to look through plus quite a variety of them. Also some restaurants with good food. View from various locations is quite pleasant.

A little of everything

By Dreamer816292 |

What a sweet place! Shops, rooms to book, restaurants, boat charters, fire pits on the west-facing beach -- only issue is parking. There just isn't enough. There ARE elevators to the lodging on the second level, which is really nice. Lodging features 2-bedroom suites only, I was told.

Nice area!

By Heather B |

Loved all the little shops they had. The Christmas lights at night were beautiful! When we arrived we had the nicest man escort us around the area in the golfing cart. He gave us a quick run down of the area and etc. Must visit if you are in the area.

Nice Place...just too expensive

By longmeadowmama |

Glad we stopped by but probably won't go back. The shops are nice but just too expensive for us to do any more than window shop. We stopped in a restaurant for happy hour menu that was posted only to be seated and told they went straight to the dinner menu and we had a much pricier meal than planned for. The views are beautiful and we spent some time in the beach chairs enjoying that. Fun seeing all the boats docked as well.

GAYS NOT WANTED

By Billy M |

Totally not LGBTQ FRIENDLY OR WELCOMING. My friends and I were verbally hate crimed by several boys in the mall as well as dirty staring, head shaking, and we were spending money in this place, shops, and restaurant! I will never return as this is the vibe they displayed and screamed F@G publically and I want to warn gay men this place should be skipped for better people who aren’t bigots.

Fabulous place to stay!

By tobywe |

What a great experience in hospitality. Friendly, hard working staff with clean and spacious resort condos. I highly recommend this gem for families, friends, or couples. Don’t miss the sunset and Heather at the boat rental service was beyond helpful.

Nice shops and restaurants

By Gae M |

Nice area to eat and shop, and actually stay if you want. They offer boat tours also. Seemed to be lots of renovations going on, but still had a good time.

Okay place to spend a few hours

By Mark S |

We went here to shop and take photos. There are a couple of restaurants and a coffe shop. The coffee we had was very good, didn’t eat lunch here though.

Great shops!

By 3MG1949 |

Great place to dine and shop while enjoying a nice view of the water. Lots of shops with unique items.

Shop, Sup, Slurp!

By Nancy R |

Fisherman's Village provides fun shopping for all ages and the variety is wonderful. Prices range from good to "rather grand", but it's all about what you are looking for... a token, remembrance or a gift to bestow upon a loved one.

The ability to step into a number of wonderful restaurants is a real bonus. Each has it's own special atmosphere and dining experience.

Stop for an ice cream or a cocktail to relax and take in the views.

Fun vacation spot

By Sarah C |

Fisherman’s village was so much fun! From the food to the shops, there was something for everyone. And the highlight was the boat ride on kings fisher ferry to see the dolphins!

Very pleased

By Sheri B |

My family was in town and we decided last minute to take the Sunset tour. It was a pleasant experience. The captain was funny and accommodating. There were beverages for purchase, and true to the name of cruise, we saw a beautiful sunset over the water.

I will bring guests to Kingfisher tours again.

Top notch

Family Friendly Christmas Trip

By Mikaela P |

We visited Fisherman’s village on Christmas Eve morning, we had never been there prior to this visit. We arrived in the morning, around 10:30am and found plenty of parking (but noticed it filled up fast by noon). Everything was decorated AMAZING for Christmas! Lots of good photo opportunities. The shop openers were all friendly and accommodating! There was live music being played and four live owls to be viewed. Our family enjoyed walking around, visiting the shops, seeing the owls, and then we managed to get some tickets to come back THAT NIGHT for the boat tour of the Christmas lights in the Canals. We ate at Fisherman’s village for lunch and then came back at night for the boat tour. The boat tour of lights down the canals was one of the highlights of our little trip! Everyone was very friendly, drinks and snacks are also served on the boat (small extra fee). Was a great experience for our family- really enjoyed the lights and Fisherman’s Village was also lit up for Christmas too!

Fishermen’s Village is a great place to visit. It has many small gift shops ideal for looking around. It also has some good restaurants and ice cream shops. Plus great views of the marina and shore line.

Christmas shopping

By Linda E |

We try to get there several times a year, but especially at Christmas it is always decorated so spectacularly, many places for photo ops. . Great little shops, fun restaurants. Stunning views!

Nice atmosphere, closes early

By Abby T |

This was a really nice place to visit with great restaurants. Our time in the shops was limited though because things were closed up when we were there for dinner, even on Friday and Saturday night.

Great Spot!

By John Kirkpatrick |

Great place filled with restaurants, shops and bars. Great views of the water! Take one of the boat tours.

Short distance from Airport

By Sheila M |

This was our first stop after arriving from the Punta Gorda airport. The shops are unique, fun and affordable. Several restaurants with seating near the water.

Not what we thought !

By debbi12328 |

Disappointed as really looking forward to this, Expecting amazing shops and bars but overrated and no atmosphere. Having a beer here is similar to having a beer in a shopping mall ! All very odd. Shops are quirky, Some heavy priced.

Nice place for a few hour visit

By Jeff K |

Nice area for a few hour visit. Had a great bar or tour from here. Nice restaurant selection. A lot of tourist type stores but easy to get around, clean. It’s a relaxing time e and can have a decent beer, buy some spices, go on a bay cruise. Something for everyone

Afternoon Ride

By Lovely Lady |

Took some family visiting from up North to enjoy the shops and the water views with all the boats docked there. It has some nice restaurants and bars, but if you go on a weekend it's very crowded.

By Cat |

Wow ! The Fisherman’s Suites are totally stunning. Such a classy place. The 2 bed suite was spotless and beautifully decorated and well appointed. We did not wish to leave . Highly recommend a stay here. The level of comfort was 10/10. I would return 100 percent,

Fun, food, shops and CHARACTER!

By Leilanilynn |

Many fine shops, many fun shops - restaurants, bars right on the bay. Whatever you are looking for - it is there. A must visit when in Punta Gorda.

Touristy during Winter, but pleasant place to shop

By WinStorm |

My wife and I walk through this outdoor mall every week. The shops are nice and not busy during the Summer. We especially like The Naple Soap Co. and the candy stores. This mall is pet friendly, so we bring our 2 golden retrievers. The restaurants here are just okay.

Clean and pleasant

By ChampChump7bc |

A good place for walking, shopping and eating. The tiny sandy beach with chairs is lovely. Ice cream from the Amish shop was expensive, but delicious.

Family fun

By Rick |

The Village Brewing company great drinks and appetizers . All decked out for Christmas beautiful decorations. Lots of neat little shops and on the water. Highly recommend for family fun day.

Souvenirs

By Scott K |

There were numerous shops to check out if one wanted to. T-shirts to coffee and ice cream. Christmas decorations were everywhere. Coming from MN that was entertaining.

Nice place to spend an afternoon

By Mare I |

We did an overnight trip to Punta Gorda, as we hadn't been there before. Went to Fisherman's Village and walked around, went in the little "souvenir-type" shops and had lunch. Went back at night to the same restaurant for dinner. Nice scenery and very nice to just walk around and chill out.

Must see destination

Spent the afternoon here, leisurely strolling thru the shops. Some shop owners were friendly & welcoming. Had lunch at the end restaurant, overlooking the harbor, good food

Fun place to shop and see the harbor

By Kansas620 |

Nice shops, friendly people. Go to the shirt store that has the shirts that turn color in the UV light -- it is fun and affordable!

Great place to shop for tourists and residents alike

By Carla T |

There was a variety of store to peruse and several restaurants to choose from to eat. We had a great time and ate at Village Fish Market (Best clam chowder I've ever had) and don't forget to stop at the candy shop before you leave. The "chicago mix" popcorn and chocolates are to die for. Stopped for a drink at the Brew House outside bar during a downpour. Loved our visit and would go back.

Shops and good food

By Mark B |

A great place to take it all in, sights, shopping, and restaurants right on the pier watching boats go by while eating your meal, very relaxing must show patience does take at least 30 minutes together a table but well worth it

Shopping and dining

By Gene H |

Excellent and unique place to visit. The variety of establishments were great. The parking was good.

Fun on the Harbor!

By mickie g |

This is a must stop if you're in the Punta Gorda area. Located right on the bay with lots of unique shops and wonderful restaurants! We liked it so much we came back 3 times during our 5 day stay. Each restaurants food was wonderful and service was top notch! Will definitely come back next time we're in town!

Beautiful setting, no large crowds

By Jennie H |

Lovely shipping center - great dining - beautiful beach - lots of activities - large parking area. Would highly recommend for couples, families and groups of 12 or under.

Nice place to stroll

By paulhollinger |

We took a day trip to Punta Gorda and visited the Fisherman's Village. This is essentially a covered mall with many small retail shops and restaurants. The shops were not chain stores but unique and clean. The sales help in the stores that we stopped in were very friendly and helpful.

A Wonderful Tuesday

By Kate Lehsten Rodriguez |

Well another exceptional day. Mates Ken, Kathy, new comer Vince along with Captain Glenn were very informative and entertaining. I met a lovely family and newlyweds celebrating their wedding. Dolphins once again put on a show. A very relaxing and exceptional day, as I’m finding out as my every experience touring with King Fisher Fleet. Kate Lehsten Rodriguez

Wonderful experience

By Erica C |

My family and I spent the weekend at the Fishermans Village Resort while we were in town visiting family. We had a wonderful experience! The room was beautiful, large and clean. It had a great balcony which was the perfect spot to watch the stunning west coast sunsets. It was just a short walk downstairs to some great restaurants and nice shops. While driving back home my son realized he may have forgotten his beloved stuffed rabbit in the bed. He has slept with this rabbit every night for almost 5 years and was so upset when he realized he didn’t have it. You can’t buy them anymore and I thought I was going to have to break his heart and tell him the rabbit would be gone forever. I quickly called the resort and a wonderful lady Nicole answered the phone. I explained the situation and she graciously went on a hunt for the rabbit. After being unsuccessful in finding the rabbit at first she didn’t give up and continued to look in every possible place. One day after checking out of the resort, the rabbit was at our front door. She found it!!! She made one little boy so very happy!! The staff went above and beyond for us and I am so very thankful! We will definitely be back when in town again.

Great shops; many nautical in theme

By Saminlove45202 |

The shops are great and continually add to their inventory. The center is partially under remodeling - a new higher-end restaurant just opened.

lots of shopping, great food

By GypsygirlPenfield |

Browsed the shops then had pina coladas and food, sat outside overlooking the water, great views. Good way to spend an afternoon.

Great Xmas Decor and Photo Op’s

By Hpsgffemt |

We try to make a trip to Fisherman’s Village every Christmas time to see their lights and decorations. They do an excellent job. We walk around for a bit, get some dinner, walk some more, get a drink, then head home. It’s free, it’s fun, and offers some great photo opportunities. Go visit.

Great to visit but needs improvement to be a great place to stay

By ben |

So, I would highly recommend visiting this place. It is super charming and all of the staff at the suites as well as the restaurants and shops have been so warm and friendly. The pricing isn’t crazy like at many resorts and there are many good options for food and cool little shops with outside bars and a sandy beach area on the water perfect for sunsets and watching dolphins/other sea life.

As far as staying here there are positives and negatives depending on your plans for your family as well as mobility. The rooms are all very clean and recently remodeled with everything you need to be comfortable and a small balcony with a couple chairs and small table perfect for morning coffee/evening cocktails.

There are 2 ocean beaches that are 60-70 minutes away which is nice for a couple day trips to the beach. However, if you noticed there is a pool and plan on using it for your family on days to avoid the sand and hassle of all that goes with the beach I would say don’t depend on small pool at the suites.

We went there on the third day to keep things easy and the pool had caution tape around both of the stair entries with no signs explaining whether we could use the pool or not. A staff member later nicely told us we couldn’t use the pool because they had caulked around the outside curb of the pool which, as a contractor, I can tell you is a cheap,minimum/almost useless effort to maintain an old, neglected pool. The lounging chairs and tables were old and rusty and many of the chairs were broken so you couldn’t adjust them while laying in the sun.

This neglectful attitude also explained why one elevator out of 2 in the entire resort was out of order with no work being done to fix it in our 5 day stay. Also, quite a few walkway boards in the upper walkway were rotted enough to cause issue for someone in a wheelchair or using a walker.

Also worth mentioning, parking is at the very end of the resort and all the rooms are on the second floor. The walk to the further end is probably at least 5 minutes for an able bodied person which makes luggage and groceries a significant task.

Christmas lights

By Moe |

Love going to fisherman’s village at Christmas lights are beautiful. Like going thru the shops . Santa was great looking you can take your pets there to.

What a fun place to shop, eat and boat tours!!! We had a nice lunch on the water and took a king fisher fleet afternoon boat ride... such a fun day!

Great cap off to a wonderful day out of town

By Shelley S |

Very relaxing sunset cruise. About 65 people onboard with a mix of various ages. The captain and his staff were friendly, fun and let kids and big kids steer the ship. In the summer, I would say the cruise might leave a bit later then 7. Sunset was not until almost 8:30 and we were done with the cruise then. Rick, Alan and Brenda did a great job and the music was fun and added to the experience. This is not a narrated cruise, though the captain did say a few things at the beginning before heading out. He let us know pertinent information before starting and it was really nice.

Wonderful

By americancouple2017 |

It's a combination of a historical place, boat lounge and a mall. Very stylish, lots of restaurants and small shops.

Walking around town

By Swwalton |

This is a nice stop for gift shops and restaurants. We walked here from downtown where we stayed at the Sheraton. We had lunch, and we walked the shops and bought some stuff. We also scoped out a boat rental. Popular stop.

Great Shops and Restaurants

By minerakl56 |

What a great place to shop and eat while waiting to board your Christmas cruise! Very festively decorated, too!

Nice little shops

By Lori G |

Great place for shopping. There is usually live music and sometimes interesting wildlife displays. New owners gave all the buildings a face lift on the outside. Nice landscaping and can walk along the water. Restaurants/brewery there for the break. Fudge for the sweet tooth.

Great location for spring training

By Julie S |

Great location for dining, shopping and even live music. We visited for spring training games and it was an easy drive to local parks.

Good view from outside tables on warerfront. These tables are crowded. There did not seem to have an organized way to occupy tavles when busy
Typical ok seafood entrees. Lots of it fried. Rushed when busy-- not relaxed
Facility a bit worn.

Relax and Enjoy

By Linda K |

Informative and relaxing cruise on the Peace River.
The crew Captain Rickey and Mates Kathy and Robbie made the trip fun. Very personable crew, they made us feel like friends they knew.
Only 5 stars? Should be 10!

Great variety of shops

By Tim A |

We enjoyed shopping at Fishermen's Village and a fabulous meal at @Village Brewhouse. Excellent food! Great service and fast service.

The variety of stores is from gelato to mens clothing with a pet store that carries items in every dog breed.

Dog friendly.

Awesome pit stop! Great food too.

By Michelle M |

Someone from the Peace River Wildlife Center recommended us to stop at Fisherman's Village, so glad we listened. Great shops and great restaurants. It was surprising to find so much in one area and everything was unique!

Fishermen's Village-Punta Gorda, FL

By John-Phyllis N |

Fishermen's Village has always been a fun place to visit and eat. But, we feel that it's too much deep-fried foods!

Shops of various types...restaurants...on the water

By David R |

We enjoyed browsing around the various shops in this "shopping village", although some were way out of my price range. We were able to find a few treasures in what seems to be the one of the largest game stores I have been in, in a long time.

Interesting place

By Mike353632 |

This is a must- see pedestrian type shopping mall. There are shops galore with all kinds of products, loads of food vendors and restaurants and of course, crowds. It’s right on the water and a pleasant visit for a couple of hours. 2-20-2020

Nice Location

By Chaps911 |

A fun time with fun people

By Johine B |

Took the trip on Christmas Eve and it was a delight... Captain Rickey Duet, Suzanne, and Boston Mike were fun, informative and made the entire trip the best party on the seven seas (or six canals, whichever comes first).

Fabulous place to visit

By Dorothy J |

I had never been to Punta Gorda before. Driven past it many times going to Miami. Well worth a visit. Free Parking lovely little specialist shops and many restaurants all with water views. Lovely relaxing place. On the way down stop at the military museum well worth your time. Lots of exhibits from WW1 and 2 and many other conflicts. Manned by Veterans. Also in Punta Gorda an exact replica of the Vietnam war. Very moving.

HIDDEN LITTLE GEM!

By Kimberly P |

There are many shops and restaurants located here. This is the place to go to find that special something to bring back from your trip. Many new eating establishments! They are still improving it, heard they are building a Tiki Hut !

Fun stop while boating

By CaptTrouble |

My husband, I, and three of our friends arrived here by boat. We immediately went to a restaurant and waited for a table; because it was March, it was a long wait. Our lunch turned into a late lunch, albeit a very good one.

After lunch we strolled around and looked in the shops. Most of the shops are small so they were literally packed shoulder to shoulder. We tried to stay out of most of them although we had been in them before. Seeing how many people were jamming themselves together without masks, we opted to mostly window shop. There are a lot of gift shops here that run the gamut of cheap trinkets for kids to more expensive items for adults, mostly with a coastal theme.

We appreciate the boat tie downs as this is a fun place to go when boating. It is also VERY popular with people who drive there too.

Tourist trapish

By Picky_Vacationer_50s |

Definitely tourist trapish, with a mix of nice men’s and women’s clothing shops and artwork. There are a couple restaurants with have nice decks to sit and enjoy a meal.

There are the obligatory tshirt and trinket shops. But over all, a place to spend a couple hours.

Great Place to Shop!

By lovestotravel55 |

Terrific place to meet friends or just go by yourself. A variety of unique shops, not terribly expensive. Good places to dine and drink or take a cruise.

Family

By billroebuck |

A must visit when in Punta Gorda. If the weather permits (not too windy) start with a boat cruise of the Harbor. Come back and walk the Enclosed Pier and visit the cool shops. Take a look at the restaurants... then decide. There are several restaurants all the way to the end... most have outside water views. There is also golf cart rides to the restaurants at the end if you need assistance. Have fun.

Amazing weekend at the Village and nearby!

By Christine H |

Trip for the weekend with my husband for our Anniversary, and it couldn’t have been better! So close to airport and FV had a person to refer to for shuttle service as the flight arrives too late for Uber! Stayed from Thur-Sun and never even rented a car ! Two full busy days on site and in nearby city area. Uber was available and ready and lots of fun to have. Sidewalks roll up a little earlier than we like but was really ok. Busy sunny hot days lead to us sleeping very well.
Can’t say enough about the room! 2 bedroom suite was gorgeous! View from room 28 was awesome as it was right over beach area looking out on to the water. So perfect to wake up to. Everything we needed in the room and the bed was incredibly comfortable! Will certainly recommend this place!!!

Unique items in a charming setting

By BAR845 |

Great mall. Many shops with unique items. Be sure to check out Caribongo's. They have tee shirts and other items that change in the sunlight. You can see them using their "sunshine light" machine. On the water with a marina that has boat tours and fishing trips. Nice charm and character. Several restaurants and bars. Outdoor dining with music when we went. At Christmas time there are many decorations and lights. A fun place to go and spend some time. A large portion was being renovated so more shops or a restaurant may be coming.

Great shopping!

By Michele S |

Great place to buy unique beach/tropical clothing, jewelry, gifts, snacks, etc Beautiful location and free parking!

Fun Place to Visit and Eat

By PNicodemus |

Nice place with good shopping and very good restaurants. We ate at Harpoon Harry’s which is right on the water with outstanding views and staff, as well as fantastic food! We also picked up a couple of tshirts and some olive oil in the shops.

King Fisher Fleet Cruiser - Christmas lights in Punta Gorda

By Joseph M |

We had an outstanding time on the Helen M boat viewing all the Christmas lights along the canals in Punta Gorda.

I want to give shout outs to Captain Sam, Penny and Boston Mike.

Take this one hour cruise… you will not be disappointed.

Nice place

By Pam |

Went to the Fishermans Village 3 times, ate there twice both times at Harpoon Harry's went on a Sunset Cruise and went shopping, had a few drinks listened to the live music, would go again when in the area again.

Great place to go with your pet.

Went with our pet. Stayed at hotel rooms were very nice. The whole complex seamed very pet friendly.

THE Place to go in Punta Gorda

By Lynn M |

What could be more fun than a variety of shops as well as tuns of restaurants to choose from. A golf cart ride will bring you in from the parking lot, if you like. So much fun here

Beautiful shopping and eating area

By Edward P |

I would recommend Fisherman's Village for any one, local or snowbird. This is cross between a shopping mall and a covered terrace. Unique stores and great places to eat, most with fantastic water views

Unique shops and great restaurants

We visited a few times during our Port Charlotte stay. Great place for shopping, dining, or just sitting and having a drink while looking out at the pretty harbor!

Great Place to eat & shop

By Gulf Coast T |

Fisherman’s Village 11-29-24
I just love this place. Easy to get in and out, easy to park and easy to walk around. This place has a little bit or everything for everyone. There is a beach with a great sunsets and beach bar. ( As of now the bar is closed due to Hurricane damage but there is a Trailer selling cold beverages right on the beach.) They have live music at times on the beach stage. They even have a beach church service early most Sunday mornings. There are plenty of places to eat and most have outside seating or a Tiki Bar Style seating. My favorite place is Harpoon Harry’s overlooking the harbor. You can take a Sunset Cruise and during the Holidays take a Christmas Light Cruise right out of the Village. Plenty of places to shop and browse if you like. If you want to extend your stay you can rent room at The Suites at Fishermen’s Village which overlook the village on the 2nd floor. I love going this time of year as its all decorated for the Holidays and will get you in the Christmas sprit fast. Everyone needs to stop by here and spend a couple hours you will not be sorry. I give this place a 5 out of 5 stars just for all it has to offer.

Shelby's Honest Reviews

Spectacular. This was so nice and peaceful. Great shops and restaurants. Some shops closed early not sure if it was because covid or regular hours. We strolled through the shops, ate lunch, and took the 7pm Sunset cruise. We saw dolphin swimming while eating lunch and dor desert had a yummy truffle from the candy shop. A must do while in Punta Gorda

Suite

By Bob & Kris |

Beautiful clean Suite. Nicely decorated and insulated from the noise downstairs. Beautiful views. Having the golf cart shuttle a seat help. Registration could be a little more informative regarding elevators and golf cart shuttles especially for people with handicap issues. Otherwise, very nice.

Wonderful way to spend a day

By ccmom7781 |

This is such a lovely place and setting. Shops, restaurants and live music. Atmosphere was fun and laid back. Wonderful way to spend a day.

Nice place but disappointed in view from room.

By Maureen L |

I booked through my RCI membership. I was told I would get a waterfront room. Technically I did get a waterfront room, but the view was blocked by a thatched roof located directly in front of my room. I will attempt to upload a photo.

Boring

By Tom B |

Unless you are a dedicated shopper skip this crowded tourist trap. The open air / under boat shed type high roof gave a sun cover which was not needed on this cool day. Typical stores and merchandise. Several restaurants were adequately busy. Good views but few places to really enjoy them without being seated at a restaurant

Very nice place to shop and eat

By Dylan T |

This is a very nice local shopping center. The restaurant options are ok, but the local shops like the candy store are amazing. I'll definitely be back here.

It’s always fun

By richardwalega |

For eating, drinking, boating, shopping or just people watching this is an iconic spot in SW Florida. Harpoon Harry’s is probably the most popular eatery as it overlooks Charlotte Harbor and offers special water views. But there are other fine spots. There’s something to appeal to everyone and the protected open air shopping is a delight in the hot Florida weather. This mixed use development is a tremendous success and worth a visit. The only downside is the parking: you might have a bit of a walk but golf carts are zooming about picking up folks who need a ride. I don’t go there often but when I do I always enjoy myself.

Nice shopping village with unique stores and restaurants.

By Ports707 |

Nice place to hang out, shop, eat a meal and/or drink your favorite cocktail or non- alcoholic drink! The village offer all the typical shopping center shops.

Awesome place

By Matt S |

As a Midwestern person, the open-air mall isn't something I've seen much of. During COVID, this place has it figured out. Lots of people, but plenty of space and people are respectful.

Stores are boutique and unique and they all seemed to be happy to have business. Love this place!

A perfect day of Shopping, Food and Cruising

By barrynoah |

Fisherman's Village has a great mix of shops, restaurants and sightseeing. It is not too big but not too small. We loved Bella Balsamic - unique collection of flavored olive oils and balsamic vinagers. We did a cruise with King Fisher Fleet which was great. I would highly recommend making a trip to Fisherman's Village for a little shopping, a good meal and don't forget to take a cruise on the harbor - it makes for a perfect day.

Fun place to shop, something for everyone!

By Rebecca C |

There are many cute shops in this village...everything from high end men’s and women’s fashions, great shoes and jewelry, several good restaurants, t- shirt shops, ice cream...really something for everyone! Clothing shops are pretty high end but they have the unique ....not what you would find at the nearest mall.

Great shopping, restaurants, and view of the harbor

By Donna S |

Love visiting the Fishermen's Village every year when we visit Florida - worth the trip up from Cape Coral. It has a great variety of shops and restaurants. Can get anything from candy to beautiful clothes. Love the view of the harbor and the yachts. The restaurants offer a variety of foods and are all great. Love the open mall experience. A must go-to!

Variety!

By ozwizard50 |

This mall is a tourist destination all by itself. Every shop was quaint and it's owners, friendly.
Caribongo is an exceptional Tee-Shirt shop. Different than other shirt stores that, all their products change colors in sunlight.
They are also inexpensive.

Unique shopping

A good variety of shops with unique gifts and souvenirs. Several good dining options. Plus, the views are great.

Don't be a Karen be a Heather

By Heather M |

After purchasing a new build close by my hubby and I wanted a costal feel with something more than to eat. The Fishermen's Village has a host of various boutiques, ice cream shops, good food and if your shopping a local "pop shop" for the guys to visit while you shop.

Love Fisherman’s village.

By Pamela J |

We live a few exits away from Punta Gorda and fisherman’s village is our go to place. We love it. We ate at the Brewpub this time and it was good. It’s such a nice view right on Charlotte harbor. There’s shopping and nice restaurants. They are presently under construction building some new eateries. We highly recommend Fishermans village.

Good stop while traveling

Had a lovely walk here on such a lovely evening, we watched the sun set on a clear night listening to the music from the bag pipes which everyone was loving (we come from Scotland so we hearthem at wedding etc all the time) nice to see them being appreciated. The shops were nice but expensive for what was there!

Fishermans Warf Renovations Excellent

By Dancolleen |

We visited Fisherman's Village for the first time in about three years, making the trip from Naples to meet family. The renovations are excellent. The shopping looks in inviting. A wide array of restaurants. Excellent ice cream and gelato shops. All around good experience. The one exception was our dinner. Despite a nice setting, good service, and good food the restaurant allows dogs. One couple with three pit bulls could barely hold them. Another small dog yipped at ever boat that passed with its lights on (at a marina). End dogs allowed policy at Fishermans Warf.

Great place to visit

By Maria del Carme... Z |

We were in Punta Gorda for the Holidays. Our neighbor recommended that we visit Fisherman’s Village. The visit was totally worth it. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. It had several stands with different decor to have your picture taken. All the stores had beautiful decorations and specialized gifts. We had a get time there. The only thing we did not do is eat there because the restaurant at the end of the village was full and we did not want to wait. Totally worth the visit.

LOVE This Mall, Hate the Name...

By 413catherinep |

I LOVE this mall!! I want to go here by myself someday because my husband rushes me through because he's bored (with any shopping). So many cute boutiques with unique items. Not the junky souvenirs (though I'm sure you can find some of those here too) that you find in Fort Myers and other areas. Clothing, jewelry, shoes, artwork... you name it. We are beach people and can not relate to the fisherman lifestyle, or to fish in general. Punta Gorda is a fishing community but it is more upscale than say, Pine Island. I love this mall despite the fact that I hate it's name and all the fishing that goes on around it (I think fishing is cruel, and no, I don't eat fish, or meat for that matter). But if you like to shop, but are turned off by fishing, don't stick your nose up at this place. Check it out anyway. You'll be surprised. Geez, really, I hope they consider a name change...

Quaint and charming

Referred by locals. Shuttle service to/from
parking area if needed (golf carts). Charming shops in an open-area environment. Several restaurants in which to dine, good patios alongside the water to enjoy a leisurely meal.
Quiet area with white sand and Adirondack chairs is a great place to sit and savor your Cheesecake on a Stick or ice cream.

Great place to stay.

By Diane B |

The village has a lot of quaint shops. We stayed the night at the Suites. The rooms are above the shops. The restaurants were not crowded, and the food was good. We will return.

Relaxing

Always enjoy the shops along the walkway to & from the restaurants we so enjoy. The newest The Pier was X-CELLENT especially the awesome Mac N Cheese along with my delicious salmon dish.

Nice selection of stores, not chains

By Louise M |

Nice mall without chain stores. Unique shops and boutiques. It was busy when we arrived, but by the time we left after dinner it was pretty deserted.

Great time right price

By TJ E |

They did a amazing job. We got to hear a little history along with with see some of the wildlife. Being from Iowa it was a huge change that we loved. The ride was great along with seeing dolphins during the ride up close too. Was definitely a must do while in the area. The price was perfect. Not to mention they offer snack and beverages on the boat too. They were awesome.

A Unique Waterfront Shopping Experience

By Dan M |

Fisherman's Village is a tourist must see when visiting Punta Gorda. Its a very beautiful and unique waterfront shopping and dining venue right on Charlotte Harbor. With a bit of polish and upgrade to the dining options this could be a regular locals destination as well, but at present there are far better options in the downtown area to choose from. Not that the food and beverage options are bad at the village, they are just mostly underwhelming by comparison. All in all, the village is a very nice place to enjoy the scenery of Charlotte Harbor while shopping or getting a bite.

Lovely quaint seaside village

By renewjoy2 |

I have been here several times in the past. Recently, myself and my husband went to Harpoon Harry's for dinner. Sat by the Charlotte river and enjoyed the view and the delicious seafood. Stopped on the way out for dark chocolate covered candies one w/cashews & one w/almonds Oh wow I'm hooked! I'll be back often just for these Fantastic treats! He had freshly made caramel popcorn. Mmm! Great shops to wander in and out and adding more eating places as well. You won't be disappointed!

We had a terrific time.

By Trail21296 |

My wife , I our daughter and two grandchildren went on a sunset cruise last night, what a terrific evening. The boat was spotless the crew more than cordial . We all had a great time, and with the virus going around , because of the cleanliness we were not concerned at all.

Fun at Fisherman’s village

By Ahoy Adventure LLC |

Had a good time walking, shopping, and eating. Listened to live music. Had a fun day with friends. We also schedule a great tour boat excursion with King Fisher. It was a great one stop shop for our vacation.

All around a pleasant place.

By USA66 |

I came here last year with some family and again this year. We came by boat last year and car this year. The parking lot can be a little bit of a drama. But there were enough spaces and all the people went on their way to shop and/or eat. The place never felt crowded. Fishermen's Village absorbs everyone. Really something for everyone. I enjoy it here and will return. There is still storm clean up going on in the marina.

Return visit

By Fred G |

My wife and I had previously visited this great spot two years ago, and spent another wonderful afternoon with friends recently. Lots of touristy shops and boutiques, which the wives loved! Really nice seafront area to stroll along, especially on a beautiful sunny day. Stopped for lunch and beers at the Village Brewhouse, sat out on the patio and watched the boats sail by. Great way to kill an afternoon! Worth a visit.

Charming marina located at Fishermen's Village.

By LilaH |

Fisherman's Village is more than a marina! Charming eclectic shops for unique gifts! Local artists. Nice outside bar with menu. Fisherman's Village has a great restaurant sitting on the water. The atmosphere is great. Fresh breeze. It is fun watching the dolphins or stingrays swim along with the boats. When you're in Punta Gorda you are going to make a stop at the Fishermen's Villiage!

Thank you

Clean and well maintained with a great view and outdoor spaces.

By sbeel333 |

We stayed in February 2025 with 3 adults and a 4 year old. The rooms were Clean, quiet and in excellent condition. It appeared to have been recently go through and we were the first to stay in this room. We had a full kitchen with a full sized refrigerator. Dishes and flatware were very nice. This room had a view of the boat harbor, the Peace River and the sunrise. There were 3 good restaurants and some nice shopping without having to drive. The covered open areas allowed walking to the shops and restaurants during inclement weather. There is a very nice patio and beach-like area to watch sunsets and quiet music. We had a wonderful 3-day weekend.
A lot of locals come to the restaurants so a reservation is highly recommended. The pool was in good condition and clean though it didn’t appear the heat was operating.

A must stop in Punta Gorda. Some cute shops and restaurants and bars. People were friendly and there is a variety of places to browse. When the second floor is completed maybe there will be more to see and do. It’s nice to walk along the docks to look at the boats in the Marina.

Businesses are not very bright

Shop and Shop

By Joann M |

Re-visited after a few years to bring a family member. Definitely more stores. Great variety of gifts to remember your visit or get ideas for your home. Fun to see the large boats in the marina. Plenty of restaurants to enjoy. If you don’t have a boat of your own you can take a variety of trips to the surrounding areas on a charter. Also plenty of benches to rest in between shopping.

Not my style

By sharpeibaby |

This area has a good bit of shopping, but not much in my price range. I think they cater to the yachts moored nearby. We went because of the reviews and wanted to do some local shopping. We bought nothing, and only went to one restaurant there. There's about 5 restaurants there, and a hotel (ish). Not a lot for kids to do other than look at boats. We were disappointed after looking for something to do in PG.

Santa's Elves are Ready for Shoppers at Fishermen's Village

By Lisabeth B |

Despite the damage left by Hurricane Ian, Fishermen's Village is up and open for the holiday season. There are a few shops still under repair, but it seemed like most were ready and waiting to help Santa fill those gift lists. This is a nice medium priced shopping area with toy shops, clothing stores, soap stores, and more. All five restaurants were open when we visited yesterday. The holiday decorations are festive. There are lots of photo opportunity spots displayed. It was a nice break in our travels from the east coast of Florida.

“Must see” in Punta Gorda

We came during the Festival of Lights - it was fascinating. Christmas and holiday decor was amazing all across the shopping center. Kids enjoyed bear hugs and the live music.

Getting to be a ghost mall

By Ironmummy44 |

The entire place was quiet except for the one restaurant. Sad that Harpoon Harry’s and Captain’s Table are closed. Seems like the place is dying.

Great browsing!

By Ralph G |

We were two couples out for the afternoon and a bit of shopping/browsing. The two girls loved the stores, big variety and plenty of unusual items to browse. Lots of benches for those that would rather just wait and chat. There are a couple of good bars/restaurants and clean public restrooms if needed. Parking can take a while to find a spot on busy days but is worth being patient.

Down time with the hubby.

By Amy C |

Absolutely love this place. We will certainly visit again. We stayed in a room overlooking the water and stage. The room was spacious and very clean. I enjoyed some shopping as well as several places to dine.

Interesting Tourist Shopping

By Bill W |

This is a pleasant tourist shopping area, with several restaurants and some interesting themed shops.

Quaint place

By mare |

Fishermans village is filled with quaint shops and resteraunts. But we enjoyed touring it on loaner bicycles the most. They have a neat program there, all you have to do is give them your driver's license and credit card (if case you don't return them). We toured the town this way. Returned the bikes at fishermans village. Treated ourselves to ice cream while enjoying the view of the beautiful sailboats gliding thru the water. Need to figure out how to get a ride on one them... that's on my bucket list to make this vacation complete.

The best place to stay on a SW Florida Vacation

By Retiredfla |

This place was wonderful! Fabulous restaurants (Harpoon Harrys, The Village Seafood restaurant and Good Ole Days were 3 you have to eat at places. The Suites at the village are some of the cleanest hotels my family and I have ever stayed in. The staff is friendly, it's a dog friendly hotel, it's on the Peace River/Charlotte Harbor and it's just perfect! There's a marina for boat rentals of cruises. The seafood restaurants are extremely good with a variety in their menus and we booked our first stay as a recon for our July 4th weekend which we are certainly looking forward to. This is a new type of Tin City of Naples, only super new, wide open air, very nice shops, eateries etc. So relaxing. You have to try this place and I'm sure you'll come back like we are.

Many shops to browse when you have the extra time

By Stacey H |

There are many shops in Fishermen's Village, as well as restaurants. It is a dog friendly area. The shops were decent priced for souvenir's. The restaurants were higher priced and I felt bland of taste/spices. In my opinion, not worth it.

Great Shopping!

By Kevin S |

We loved this village. The shops are very nice and the facility is really well maintained. We really liked that you could buy higher end souvenirs and just regular everyday items.

Clean, popular place!

By CaptTrouble |

We went here by boat with our friends recently. We wanted to get lunch and to do some shopping; one of our friends hadn't been here before so it was fun to show him around.

We tied up the boat and went into the mall. We stopped for drinks and a late lunch at The Pier. Then, we went shopping.

It was super busy when we were there at the beginning of March and NO ONE was social distancing. As a matter of fact a couple of shops we went into you had to slide back to back past people to look at anything. Tight quarters! After those experiences, we mostly window shopped.

We were thankful for clean bathrooms before we got back on the boat. Also, we have always appreciated the amount of seating available in the mall; our one friend can't walk very far so that was welcome.

Lovely shopping experience

By Melissafurman.com |

Cute shops, friendly shop owners, delicious restaurants, all right on the water. More than souvenir shops - check out the oil & vinegar shop, the interior design shop Dana Tyler and more! Plus dining at water's edge is always a wonderful experience.

Great place to shop and dine with views!

By Dean B |

Great place for family or couples! Shops are reasonable and food and drinks are great! Do not forget too go on the cruise in the harbor!

Fisherman’s Village.....a retail treat to walk thru.

By Mike M |

Nice clean stores. Something for everyone in the family. Clothing, souvenirs, ice cream shops, Yachts for sale, beautiful views out onto the Gulf.
All this ending up at a terrific restaurant or Harpoon Harry’s bar.

Nice shopping and restaurant area

By Rich J |

We were here to have lunch at Harpoon Harry’s at the end of the wharf. You can be transported to the end of the wharf but we chose to walk. There’s a number of touristy shops and restaurants and rest rooms along the way. There’s also lodging here. We were here on a Monday over lunch and the large parking area was nearly full.

A nice place to visit

By Hoss45 |

This is a covered stroll on a boardwalk with a few restaurants and different kinds of shops. At the end of the pier you will come to a restaurant that you can sit along Charlotte Harbor and maybe see dolphins swimming by. You can also visit this by boat.

Restaurants and small shops

By Joy C |

Four restaurants with two more coming soon. Ice cream and candy stores! Small shops with benches in walkways. All under a roof with open sides. Fishing and tour boats available. All decorated for Christmas. Looks great!

Cute place to visit.

By Ryan S |

I’ve lived in this area my whole life but make it a point to travel to areas of Florida I haven’t been to much. Wife and I drove from Ft. Myers to check it out. Was done up very cute for Christmas. Lots of lights and ornaments. Lots of people. Some nice shops and a lot of very great smelling restaurants. Fun place to spend an evening and watch a sunset. Would recommend.

2021-03 “Nice Indoor Mall”

By mountain22 |

The covered roof with open sides for ventilation. Offers several restaurants with outside seating and nice view of the bay. Nice place to eat and do some shopping.

Great shops

By Marianne |

Loved wandering the various shops at Fisherman's Village. There is a wide variety of shops for every taste. Most are a little pricey but the quality is fantastic. Allow time to wander!

A nice place to visit for a few hours.

By davidsL8278OW |

Fisherman's Village is a really spot with good restaurants, shops and a wonderful marina, where you can sit and enjoy the bay and the boat traffic going in and out. Can you spend the day there? Of course you can, but a few hours will more than fill the bill including lunch. There are also fishing expeditions from here and boat cruises to Cabbage Key and Cayo Costa. A nice place to stop when touring southwest Florida

Day at Fisherman’s Village

By Passport74129 |

Loved spending the day with friends at Fisherman’s Village. Had a great lunch and listened to the excellent music at the restaurant and later at the Tiki Hut! Went on a harbor cruise and it did not disappoint! Highly recommend spending the day here!

shopping

By Harvey Y |

Many stores and novelty shops plus some great snack shops . The place has a n attractive atmosphere that makes shpping very enjoyable experience

This is a great place to visit for some shopping!

By Janet S |

We walked here from the Military Museum. We explored the shops and made a few good purchases, then we got gelato and fudge. Some of the stores were slightly overpriced, but it was worth it!

Nice spot

By Deborah M |

After exploring the Peace River Sculpture Garden, this was a good venue for spending a few hours in the Florida sunshine. I enjoyed the variety of shops with something for every budget. Harpoon Harry's for lunch was just average, but the sunset bar with real sand looked like the place to be (I wad with my elderly parents, not their scene). Then a sunset cruise right from the pier there was the perfect way to end the day!

Lunch

By Teresa C |

Very accommodating. Good food. Good service. We went back a second time. Very dog friendly. Thank you.

Worth shopping

By WabashO |

Easy to find, plenty of parking, lots of shops, and several restaurants. The public restrooms were not very clean. Some of the food choices were not open. I would definitely bring guests there as it’s a unique shopping experience.

Nice shopping and restaurants

By Kim L |

This was a nice area to look around at the shops. There are restaurants on the water that look enticing because of the location, however we did not eat there.

Great way to spend an afternoon

By worleybird98 |

We were vacationing in Englewood, and decided we wanted to see Punta Gorda so we drove down for the day. This was a great find - especially on a super hot, humid Florida day! We were greeted at the entrance by a man in a golf cart - he gave us a ride all the way down to the far end, and told us all about the history of the place, gave tips where to eat, etc. It was a great start - and allowed us to only have to walk the length of the building once - not all the way down and then back again. Lots of cute shops, great photo ops, and beautiful waterfront views. I would love to go back again!

Small but nice

By BorneAppetit |

This is a small mall of shops and restaurants but it is nice to stroll through if you have an hour to kill. There is a small man-made beach where you can view the sunset. And you can take sight seeing cruises from here.

Sheisty

By JusIsa |

Sea Spirit is a gift shop to be avoided. Was there today with my wife who liked a pair of earrings, which were $36. I snuck back 20 minutes later to buy them for her for a little extra stocking stuffer today, and he jacks the price up to double. I did buy them because I love my wife and it wasn’t a lot of money, and I didn’t want to make a scene right there in the store, but the male owner/worker is an outright thief.

Fun Day!

By Marie F |

shopping for everyone-especially enjoyed Bella Balsamic and the Spice and Tea Exchange, bringing lots of products home to enjoy! Beautiful marina, watched yachts come in and go out! Not really a place for younger kids

Don't judge a book by its cover

By Nick C |

We visited Beneath the Sea store and asked to see a pair of sun shades from the display. The sales lady immediately said to me that those were expensive. She prejudged me. I guess she thought I could not afford them. I showed her my current glasses that cost a lot more and walked out. Terrible.

Nice place

By rrsflorida |

It’s just shopping and restaurants but well done. Very clean, free parking, dog friendly. Right in the harbor so nice environment on the water. Scheduled events like New Years eve party and fireworks.

Shopping area with variety of restaurants

By Avocados12 |

Fisherman’s village is an outdoor mall with boutique shopping. Nice place to spend an afternoon when you have had too much sun!
We ate at Harpoon Harry’s the view was fantastic. The service was good. The food was ok. There are other restaurants in this mall. This is a good choice for a not fancy bite to eat.
It’s difficult to rate a restaurant during Covid restrictions but we will be back.

Quick visit

By location_collector |

We didn't have much time to spend here but the time we did spend was good. There are several nice restaurants and shops with unique items for sale. Parking can be a chore but be patient and friendly and you will soon be enjoying yourself. We plan on visiting again and spending more time the next time we are in Punt Gorda.

Amazing food

By Sheri H |

Excellent crab cakes and a beautiful view! Our waitress was awesome! Birds were everywhere, but they waited for you to leave before scavenging your table.

Great time and neat shops.

By Nancy R |

Had lunch at the Village Fish Market.
Great food, big portions. Leftovers for next day lunch.
Loved the LOL store.

Best thing to see in Punta Gorda

By Expattraveler100 |

Well worth a visit - it’s very nicely done. We walked from town which took 25 minutes on a hot day so that was probably not a good idea. Lots of parking there for free so drive over! There’s a hotel with suites above the shops, so you walk inside a no traffic area so good on a wet day. Bathrooms available, stores with every kind of shopping, restaurants and a bar - and right now it’s decorated for Christmas. A lovely clean and safe experience.

Not my cup of tea

By jsanfelippo |

Friends insisted that we should pay a visit to Fisherman’s Village.
Arrived about 10:30 so plenty of parking available. Not to crowded in morning so could stroll thru at a leisurely pace. Basically a small touristy retail/restaurant/bar complex on the water. If this is your idea of good time, then this a great setting to indulge. Just not my cup of tea.

Very cool!

By Ginny B |

Love the covered boardwalk. Outdoor or indoor dining. Beach vibe, in face you can put your toes in the sand at the connected beach, which also offers outdoor bar.
Love the shops! Wide range in prices and items.

Great place to shop and eat

By flukemeister1950 |

Shops have variety of stores, something for everyone . Several eating facilities on site, with options for dining. They have also added a beach area for good weather.

Tourist Hotspot

By petertabberer |

Like small "tourist" shops or restaurants?, then this is the place for you!!

Good parking, usually busy, plenty of boats to look at, the odd dolphin in the harbour.

Always clean

Great Christmas Stop

By Dave K |

Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Must come, walk around and see this place for the holiday season.

Pretty

By Bwet |

Worth a trip to see.. great restaurants on the water, shops marina etc Close to downtown, along riverwalk

Open air mall

By George O |

Always a delightful time spent shopping, eating or just browsing. Great family experience in a clean environment.

OK, but seems like a work in progress

By Bobbysgirl01 |

Good location, and plenty of free parking (always appreciated). We went there as we were booked on one of the boat tours, so spent a little time looking at the shops. The layout is a little odd - you need to explore a bit before you get to the main section where the shops are. Most shops are, unsurprisingly, geared towards tourists, with a few nice food shops (tea/spice exchange is worth a visit). More shops are being built, so there was a feeling of the place not really being established yet - even though it has been around for many years. I think the layout / style lets it down a bit - it looks dated. I was really looking forward to visiting the place, but was left slightly disappointed.

Nice

By JulieAp |

I visited several years ago and since I was staying nearby I decided to visit again. There was a much better variety of stores than in the past.

Spectacular Christmas Lights and very festive

By Margaret P |

Every year, I look forward to visiting the Village at Christmas! I absolutely love how they capture the essence of Christmas with their decorations. There are many photo opportunities on sight to grab a cute snapshot of your family. Very charming. Shops are unique and dining is plentiful. The suites are above the shops and restaurants and have a beautiful view of the harbor. Certainly a place to visit often!!!

Worth a Visit

By Gwen B |

Very pretty waterfront spot. Lots of cute shops and restaurants. Can access the lovely harbour walk. We enjoyed a stroll down it and a wonderful lunch at The Brewhouse.

Fun shops and good food

By catlynn10 |

Our second visit to the village. We ate at the sports bar with a water view. We had the wings which were very good. Reasonable prices. Lots of people there in and out with another bar outside also. Very good service at the inside bar. Worth a stop to shop and eat. We'll be back.

Nice area on the water.

By John R |

Looking to see some of the interesting spots on the Sun Coast. Fisherman’s Village was good. Lots of shops with variety of goods. Great afternoon. A great spot to watch the sunset with about 12 patio chairs. Grab a beer and enjoy. Lots of tour boats from this area. I’d recommend to a friend.

Enjoyed it

By Cindy |

Very nice mall right by marina Very interesting shops with glassware. Parking can be tight though. .

Lovely place to wander around

By ppj22 |

We had a wander up and down the village whilst waiting for a boat tour. There are some lovely little shops and a load of bars and restaurants. A really cool place to visit.

Enjoyed the Atmosphere & Shops

By iCRUISEify |

We visited during the Christmas season. Our main purpose was to eat lunch but enjoyed the decorations & shops.
A very nice gentleman picked us up in a golf cart & drive us to the far end of the wharf for lunch & we enjoyed our walk back through the village mall.
There is something for everyone!

Fishermaen’s Village

By Boyd L |

This is a retail outlet on the Charlotte Harbor Marina. It is full of boutique shops and restaurants. It overlooks the harbor and marina. This is a fun place.

Fishermen's Village

By EPteacher |

There is a nice variety of restaurants. The shops and boutiques are unique and not a chain store like in most malls.

Great place to spend a day. Eat and cruise

By Gale G |

We had visitors and decided to spend the day at Fishermen's Village, take the Harbor Tour on King Fisher Fleet, we saw many dolphin, interesting cruise. We would do it again. Then we ate at Captians Table, great meal and super view.

More Tourist Shopping

By Kathy D |

This is an easy place to walk around and parking was plentiful. If traveling with small children it is a pretty good spot to let them out to stretch their legs. I was hoping for a higher quality shopping experience featuring local artisans; this was just more tourist stuff one can pick up everywhere.

Plenty to Do!

By TravelTalesBlog |

Plenty of restaurants, bars, shoppes and boating activities on Charlotte Harbor in Punta Gorda. Definitely worth checking out.

Worth the stop

By Brookie58 |

It was the half way meeting spot for New England friends vacationing in Naples Fl and Siesta Key. It was a good choice. Something for everyone, water, boats, beer, food, shopping , plenty of sight seeing, public bathrooms and No admittance fee. Free Parking lot was crowded and folks were parking outside the lot and valets on golf carts were shuttling people to and fro- for tips I suppose.

Great 1/2 point between Bonita Springs and Sarasota

By Toni G |

It was a half way point to meet friends - we were pleasantly surprised. -nice restaurants and bars - nice shops as well - I would recommend going - it was a fun way to meet up with friends and be in a nice place on the water - Punta Gorda also has a cute little town - somewhat small but very charming!

Fresh, comfy, clean, affordable and fun

By Tasha F |

Fresh new rooms. Comfy beds. Super fluffy pillows. Excellent roomy showers. Kitchen's cookware was the heavy duty kind, not the cheap stuff. Had everything we needed to cook meals. Remember to buy your own butter/ oil/salt/pepper. Clean large fridge with ice maker. AC is cold and plenty of ceiling fans. We opted for the 2 bd. 2 bath with a teenager. So glad we did. We all had privacy from each other unlike at your usual hotel room. Friendly staff. 24 hr. self laundry room. (Use the laundry app for two free washes) We enjoyed our stay and the sunset views from our balcony. Every once in a while we could hear the workers below setting up, not a huge deal. We also heard the TV in the room next door, but we think they had the volume on max. Nothing a call to the front desk can't solve. Bonus, there was a coffee shop (not very friendly workers, but good coffee) and plenty of restaurant choices. The shops below close pretty early (6 p.m.) but that makes for a quiet stay in the evenings. We will definitely be back. Love that security is out and about. I hope the cleaning staff can keep up the good work once everyone finds out about this place.

The Christmas lights were beautiful

By debbra w |

We came to see the Christmas lights and stopped for dinner at The Fish Market. Excellent meal with live entertainment.

Decent place for a destination day

By Carmik12 |

This is a decent place for a stroll on a chilly day. There are the Typical shops and restaurants. There is a nice view of the bay. Parking is interesting.

Great Place to Visit

We have visited Fisherman’s Village several times. We have taken Ohio friends here for shopping, restaurants and a Sunset Cruise. This venue is a must visit when in Southwest Florida!

Great place to visit!

Must see

By Patricia H |

Great shops, great views, hot spot, food and drinks great and reasonable love all the pet friendly places.

I wasn’t impressed

By Marie Ann P |

Not sure why it’s so famous? Maybe if your bored ? The stores were way over priced and nothing that I think is worth buying I couldn’t get elsewhere 1/2 the price! It’s not much of a pier that I’ll say ! I was disappointed I seen better in Clearwater Venice beach ect

You Will Keep Coming Back!

By F L C |

Everything is wonderful - Sights and Sounds, Boats and Water, Restaurants and Food, Shops and People. We keep coming back!

A good variety of shops

By Kenneth N |

Fisherman’s Village is a must see when visiting Punta Gorda. There are a variety of shops and restaurants, including Harpoon Harry’s which is great place to watch the sunset. A great place to visit during the Christmas season. And don’t miss the boat tours!

GREAT PLACE TO VISIT AT CHRISTMAS TIME

By Bill W |

Beautiful shops, very nice merchandise selection, very friendly shopkeepers and the decorations are excellent

Horrible

By Stosh69 |

Over priced...not accessible to disabled....horrible experience. Tourist trap. Would never recommend

The Village Fish Market, perfect for lunch or dinner

By Chefnfly |

This is a nice selection of gift shops and restaurants, under a covered walkway. There's ice cream shops, coffee shops, and a few restaurants to pick from. We had lunch at The Village Fish Market. Excellent service and food. I had the lobster salad on a croissant. Chuck full of tender lobster, with a light touch of mayo. My wife had the fish and chips, crisp and delicious. We have eaten here before and so far never disappointed. Enjoy, Chefnfly.

Bouncing back after the Hurricanes

By tenntravelguy |

It has been several years since the last time that I visited Fishermans Village. While a few things have changed much of it has remained the same even with getting hit with 3 major hurricanes in the past 2 years.

1 of the seafood restaurants that we enjoyed several years ago has relocated but other new restaurants are coming in soon among the other existing eateries that continue to prosper at the venue. Fishermans Village includes numerous clothing boutiques, but I really found the balsamic shop, the games and novelty shop and the shop with candy, sno cones and other confectionery delights.

Fishermans Village also has 2 to 4 hour boat cruises that I would love to take my wife on when we are back in the area. Some of the boats were heavily damaged during the 2024 hurricanes but they did an amazing job making the entire property feel festive during the Thanksgiving week.

Worth the drive.

By 2906LS |

A mixture of shops and restaurants/bars. Most of the shops are on the high end, much nicer than tourist trap souvenir stores. The restaurants offer a variety of food and drinks. All with the backdrop of a marina . Worth the visit, even if you have to drive a little.

Holiday cheer

By Karyn M |

It was terrific to see it all decked out for the holidays! Walking around visiting the shops and then enjoying lunch on the water was a perfect way to spent a few hours.

Great short vacation

By Janet |

We have stayed here 3 times before, but after major renovations, it is like a new hotel. The rooms are beautiful. It was nice to see a lot of the same stores on the first level.
