The beach was nice, emerald green, had life guards on duty, and had numerous shops, restaurants, bars, and tattoos paroles.

Lots of parking, shops, restaurants....not a bad place. We stayed a week and enjoyed different activities.

What a wonderful time I had in Ft. Lauderdale. Even though it poured rain the whole 3 days I was there, the music made everything better. When the rain let up for a little while, I walked across the street to a hotel on the ocean that had a Tiki Bar. I sat and watched the angry ocean and the waves come thundering in. The Tiki Bar had some of the BEST music playing, which with the cold beverage, and being able to watch sports, ice hockey, basketball, golf, and more, it made for a perfect end to my day. I recommend the Tiki Bar, and the ocean. What a perfect combination!

First of all we did not stay at the hotel. We utilized the service at the beach. The equipment is in excellent shape. As we watched everyone elses umbrellas blow away ours were sturdy. Kevin B. helped us out each day we were there. This young man is a superstar. Very laid back and at attentive. He really made our stay on the beach great.

STRONG ADVISORY!Resident of Fort Lauderdale. Strong caution. There are recurrent sewer line brraks in the city and we advise all visitors to be aware of the health risks associated with this widespread problem

Beach, palm trees, night life, stroll down Seabreeze Blvd and Las Olas Blvd. Great town, convenient from either MIA (45 mins) or FT.

Jacksene (the beach guy) was so welcoming and made our experience so great! Go see him! You won’t regret it.

The beach was beautiful lots of places to eat
Deep fishing chartered boats parasailing etc available to rent even bikes you will pay for parking it’s cheap and if you want to rent chairs and umbrellas be there early they stop renting and and pick up equipment at 6pm they have volleyballs set up it’s a lot to do out here to do even just to take a walk

We came straight here from the airport and got onto the beach. We found a parking lot with metered parking only one block from the beach without any searching. The promenade area adjoining the beach is clean and the beach itself was gorgeous. The water was so clear you could see straight to your feet. It was also very warm for November with no waves so people of all ages could get in and enjoy the water. We loved it!

Very nice but beach is receding and seems to be shrinking. A great national treasure that we need to protect. Relatively clean.

Nightlife was crowded. Lots of fun and hardly no restrictions. If you are one that is concerned about social distancing the night life with bars and restaurants may not be for you

Beach Chairs and Umbrella services was never being a good experience but today it change 100 percent legit. Today, I went to Fort Lauderdale Beach and Rafael was the business representative that took care of us. He was a true class act man and a true professional that made us have the best experience when it come to these rentals. His energy and charisma was genuine and one of a kind. I can’t wait to go back and spend more family quality time! Thanks Rafael!

Fort Lauderdale Beach was cool and the beach was fine but there were a lot of dried seaweeds on the shore. It was great but you could find better beaches in Florida to be honest.

Obviously its a bit chilly in January, but very clean and well kept. There's a nice walking area and biking nearby.

Nice beach with a lot of nice areas around where you can walk around and grab something to each/drink. Is was very easy access to the beach.

The beach was decent, nice and clean with shower facilities to rinse off the sand and salt water. The water wasn't the clearest but I know this isn't a good beach in the Caribbean either.

Very beautiful, it was January so a little windy, but still beautiful beach and walkway! The shops were wonderful and not over priced. I would recommend visiting to anyone who makes it to this area!

Beach full of Jamaicans. They barbecued and shouted all the time. The beach itself was very beautiful, but with the shouting from the Cubans, it was a terrible experience.

Laying in the sun in October when back home has near freezing temperatures! Duh! Who wouldn’t give 5 stars? Nice winter getaway.

Had a great time exploring the area. Be careful crossing A1A but the long walkway up and down the beach was very pleasant and wide enough to stroll and never felt really crowded

The Beaches in FT Lauderdale are clean and well taken care of. In the summer, the water is warm and mostly calm. There are lifeguards and chair, bike rentals nearby. Nice boardwalk too

I came with my daughter and boyfriend , my family absolutely loved every bit of the beach. The sand was very soft and clean the ocean itself was nice.

This beach is more for teens and adult a get away not for young children there was allot of string bikinis.

The best part about this is that it’s not Miami! It was calmer and still so beautiful and has tons of restaurants in walking distance!

Beautiful, just beautiful beach. Just a short walk from the condo where we were staying near the Yacht Club. This beach is wide and nice fine sands. Hiways runs right alongside it. gentle surf the days we were there. We strolled it several times. Watch some young people playing volley ball. Admired the views and sea air. Perused the ships offshore and the huge cruise ships. What a wonderful beautiful place. Gorgeous.

This area of the beach was had clear water, the sand was soft and squeezed between the toes (comfortable)

What a beautiful beach! it is right in the center of all the fun too - restaurants, bars, everything is right across the street from you, when you want your margarita - it's within a 2 minute walk! It's best to have children under supervision though because the traffic gets quite heavy and sometimes the cars go more than allowed speed limit there, so that was our only concern

Such a relaxing experience while playing in the fun waves i was surprised at how many open chairs there were it was very beautiful.

Beach is clean

We’ve been staying in Ft Lauderdale for several years during the winter months, and love the beautiful beach. It can get crowded, so go early. We also enjoy the restaurants along the beach- especially Burlock Coast, Casablanca, and Coconuts. The bike path along the beach is lovely.

It is a pretty beach. Most all parking is across the street (at least what we found) so plan to walk quite a ways during busy times to find parking. Maybe better to Lyft or Uber.

It is so sad that such a nice beach is associated with utterly disgraceful locale with so few parking.

I’m not sure I’ll be back here or not. The weekends are out of hand and the loud cars racing up and down Ft Lauderdale Blvd and all the Homeless people begging for money make the place feel unsafe .

Lovely. Rentals for beach chairs and umbrellas is outlandish. In Miami we rented 3 chairs and 2 umbrellas for the day for $75. Here it would have been $120 but we wouldn't do it.

Actually it’s one of my favorite beach in Florida. It’s quiet and clean. They have good restaurants around. Some parts of the beach are for “special people” only.

Stayed a block away from the beach. The beach was clean and very nice. Will come back. I thought the water was very clean .

What a great experience dining at Lona Cocina on FTL beach. The entire resturant team as well as the GM, Danny Estevez, made it a wonderful evening. Very causal and comfortable environment. The food and beverage was fabulous and the atmosphere perfect. I highly recommend.

Las olas beach, Ft Lauderdale is a wonderful place to spend some time. There are a number of restaurants and bars close by.

It was sunny, chilly, and windy the day we were at the beaches, but they were beautiful, clean . We enjoyed the day.

We walked along the beach for a bit. No public bathrooms to be seen. Wouldn't be able to stay very long.

This beach is very long, very wide and very clean. It’s a great beach to walk and no rocks. Water is clean and unlike Aruba no smell from all the boats and jet skis. Most hotels are across a busy street which is unique but not a big issue. There is also a walkway between the beach and street with lots of good people watching

The beach near our Airbnb in Ft. Lauderdale was absolutely perfect! Located on the quieter side of Ft. Lauderdale Beach, it offered a much more relaxed and peaceful vibe compared to the busy Las Olas area. It was exactly what we needed for some quiet downtime, while still being just a short drive away from all the action.

The beach itself was pristine—clean sand, clear water, and not overly crowded, which made it feel almost like a private oasis. The ocean breeze and the sound of the waves were incredibly calming, especially when enjoyed from the balcony of our Airbnb, which offered a breathtaking view.

What made the experience even better was the convenience. It was only a short walk from our accommodations, making it easy to come and go throughout the day. Whether it was a morning stroll, a relaxing afternoon by the water, or a sunset walk, the beach delivered every time.

If you’re looking for a beautiful, serene beach experience with easy access to everything Ft. Lauderdale has to offer, this is the spot. We’re already dreaming of our next visit!

Anther great Florida white sandy beach. There are many areas you can rent an umbrella and chairs. Watch the ships go by and the historic airplanes with a banner in tow. Great relaxation.

We stayed two days before our cruise departure! We enjoyed walking along the beautiful beach and stopping at the bars and restaurants!! So much to variety to chose from! Never disappointed.

Within easy walking distance from cheap public parking as well as Greek Isles....a delightful lunch without the extended lines at dinner. Wish there was snack bar close.

They are actually just one big looonggg beach. There
is no difference from one area to the next that we could see.
Ok I’m spoiled being a western gal but I wasn’t very impressed with this state.
Thankfully we found the CafeDelMar and had a lovely afternoon sipping large MaiTai’s be careful they really are gigantic and strong. Why it’s by one get one free is a bit crazy.
We were glad to see many many people without those government mandated muzzles on. That was very nice.

Beautiful beach first time in Fort Lauderdale and loved it. Not to many people and water was great, had a little spot on the sand and relaxed and was able to catch the beautiful view of all the boats and jet skis

I don’t know if it’s just seasonal thing, but beaches were full of algae. I read that’s it’s been like this for a few years. We stayed at a beachfront property and yet my boys couldn’t get into the water at all.. texture thing. I saw some people getting into water. Beaches and the vibe from the restaurants along the beaches were nice though.

Stopped by here for the afternoon. Big, clean beach. Has a lot of restaurants and shops along the strip.

The beach and the A1A strip next to it have a good vibe and it is very well attended. It is well-maintained and fairly safe. The surf can be rough and be careful for the rip currents.

Bring your swimsuit and a towel . Perfect beach feet away from shopping and restaurants. Plenty of areas to park for under $5 for a few hours.

Will admit has rained most days so the beach is rather soggy and empty. the beach was much narrower than I expected. More interesting to see the tankers and cruise ships or watch the wildlife on the hotel strip than the beach itself.

OMG, what a beautiful beach. We’re staying with friends right on the beach and loved walking at the water’s edge. Gorgeous blue water, powdery sand and a cloudless sky. Couldn’t ask for a more beautiful day at this glorious beach.

Was a little cold today but all my teen kids were big fans. Beach is nice and not covered in seaweed. Lots of people watching and the waves were not to bad.

Open air drug dealing, mental health episodes, human waste and overall unsafe feeling all around populated beaches and shopping areas.Out of control homelessness and zombies wandering, screaming, fighting, defic all over shopping and tourist areas.
Not talking about cheap areas or deep inland, I’m talking about beachfront and family areas.
We have loved FtLauderdale, the beaches and its bars and restaurants for many years.
We will not be returning. Very sad.
We were among many many regulars working class families trying to enjoy beaches, walking the shopping areas, and all that Ft Lauderdale has to offer and we were all discussing being afraid and feeling unsafe. Very sad, we won’t be back.
Do better Ft Lauderdale.

Just a special place. With iconic A1A bordering on the West and the Atlantic Ocean on the East this beach is a true gem. Warm ocean water, fairly course sand, warm breezes, lapping waves, beautiful sunrises, just a great beach. Need a break? Just cross the road to grab a bite to eat, or stop in one of the shops. Can’t wait to get back.

Fort Lauderdale Beach is such a beautiful place with wonderful sand and you can walk for miles along the seashore. Our favorite area is down towards the rock formation where all the cruise ships travel in and out of port we look forward to visiting every year.!

Beautiful beaches. More quiet and not as crowded as Miami beaches. Ideal to ride your bike and leave it on the parking sites, relax, and read a book (they have this boxes at some places where you can drop a book and take one in return. Most of the people are adults, the water has the perfect temperature during the winter (haven't been in summer).

The people were friendly and the water was beautiful, the wind was blowing but not hard, it was a very nice day to be at the beach.

We have just recently visited Ft Lauderdale beach. The park is very clean and the water is so clear. It feels like we were in the Caribbean! Different shades of blue and green, just gorgeous.

What a wonderful stretch of beach. Lots of places to rent chairs. Public restrooms and water fountains in a few, strategic spots. Terrific walking paths and even a bit of a "work out area" that a lot of people were using.

Fort Lauderdale Beach is absolutely beautiful!!! The sand is the perfect sand to sink your toes into and enjoy the sun or play in the ocean with your kids!

My wife talked me into going in wonderful clean salt water. Water temperature 80'sF. Wonderful to cool off from 95 degree air temperature. No rip tide.

I highly recommend this activity in Fort Lauderdale. The stretch of beach is just out of this world and large enough to accommodate a ton of people without ever feeling crammed or pushed. The beach is very organized with life guards all over the place.
Before arriving at the beach, you have the accommodation of public toilets and showers along with restaurants providing great beach food (burgers, hot dogs, refreshments, etc.)
The sands are perfect, and the water is wonderful. The place is very accommodating of kids.
I highly recommend going there equipped with your own umbrellas, beach chairs and coolers filled with snacks and refreshments. Spend north of two hours and just enjoy it. It is a great experience

As always excellent family stay we went from check in to the last breakfast before leaving everything excellent, spacious and renovated rooms to new and very clean and comfortable their beds, the variety and quality of breakfast very good the heated pool for my great son! All the staff very friendly and attentive to what you need always. Not forgetting to mention that it is located opposite the beach and the hotel lends you everything you need to enjoy the beach be it umbrellas and games for the children's sand.

Fort Lauderdale owes me nothing! Was a little skeptical about the beach being full of seaweed as told by hotel staff. However when we got there it was clean and beautiful! Being from the Virgin Islands, we can be beach snobs!😊 I'm glad the hotel staff was wrong. Was just like home, clean clear to the bottom and warm...once I got in.

My only downfall was the prices for the blue beach chairs and umbrellas. $18 per chair and $25 for the umbrella ($61 total) is a BIT excessive for me and all the other folks who brought their own stuff. We were surprised with the cost, as there was no attendant when we arrived and for an hour after we were enjoying ourselves. There were also no signs posted regarding the cost. We still had a great time tho. I'd go back...with my tools tho!😉.

Lots to see & do. Fun all night. Great restaurants and bars! Go to NYSW Jazz Lounge! The band and atmosphere is great.

Ft. Lauderdale beach is a long stretch of beach area with many amenities on it. There's a big parking lot close by, reasonably priced.
The beach is not so wide like the South Beach in Miami, which I like and has nice decorated entrances to it. You can find volleyball courts, kids playground, feet washing and restrooms. There are lifeguards stations along the beach. Renting chairs was pricey for a two hours stay so we found some tree shade.
Many cafes and restaurants on the promenade.

The beach is across the road from the hotels, so you do have to cross a busy street.

It wasn’t too crowded even for spring break and most people were observing social distancing, etc. I do have a peeve about the beach equipment being so expensive to rent and they do run out.

Great beach to relax, shop, or chill with friends. parking was easy to locate and the options to eat or drink many. I can't wait to return and try more options.

The Fort Lauderdale Beach is beautiful and should be clean with trash cans and recycling around. Still this doesn’t stop disrespectful tourists from littering...... just be careful where you step. The reason why I gave it a 3/5 was the beach is not really one for walking. Due to the tides the shore is pretty sloped. You definitely need to pay attention to the lifeguard’s flags especially with children. There can be powerful riptides (red) and dangerous ocean creatures (sting rays/jellies). Just be mindful of these. If the purple flag is up you can still swim, just be aware you are in the jellies and stingrays home. There are foot washes/showers at nearly every entry/exit that you can use to wash up.

Thank goodness our beach is open again! Have traveled to 45 nations on 5 continents and still find our Fort Lauderdale Beach to be one of the best in the world. If you are visiting and driving, park right along the beach just north of Sunrise Boulevard along A1A. Parking is reasonable, there are showers at every entrance to the beach and 20 lifeguard stations. The beach is clean, the surrounds well maintained, and the locals and tourists are friendly and helpful. Our very own Fort Lauderdale Mounted Police are often seen riding their beautiful horses along the sidewalk, interacting with visitors and locals and ensuring that our beaches are safe and fun. You will find our beach to be family friendly and simply beautiful! Come join us and bring your snorkeling and diving gear, or rent from one of the many shops in the vicinity. Parasailing and jet skiing opportunities are available, reasonable and great fun!

Love the beaches here! You can run/walk for miles! Ran the beach every morning and walked home during the evening after dinner on the beach. Beautiful sunsets. Wide open spaces between the hotels/residences and the water.

We really enjoyed our time in Fort Lauderdale before our up coming cruise. So much to do. Very nice area.

This city is beautiful. I would like to visit at a time other than spring break. It was so crowded with college kids...which is fine..but beaches, pools , sidewalks were super crowded.

The Beach was relaxing and we stayed as long as we could until they moved the chairs and umbrellas around 5:30pm

We sat and watched the ocean several times from the tiki Bar. It was not warm enough for beach weather but was beautiful!

Very quiet and relaing in the morning. The water was a little chilly but it was Februaryso it was to be expected. The water wasn't bad once you got in.

This is a really nice beach. The sound is very clean and clear. It’s very walkable. I highly recommend it. As a very comfortable place to be.

I understand that this is a popular beach. But I have to review what I experienced. We were there on two pretty windy days. The surf was rough and the trash was everywhere. We saw multiple syringes in the sand. Made for walking around a bit concerning. The purple flag was out and we found tons of jellyfish beached. I'm sure this is a normally nice beach, but not on the days we were there.

Beautiful beach with parking lots, restaurants and toilets nearby. Perfect for a day with family or friends but, be careful, no lifeguards.

Clean with crystal clear water! Our fav beach on the FL east coast!! The deli across the street is delicious!

This is South Florida at its most accessible. The beach is right across the street from many hotels that don't obscure the view of the water. There are restaurants, shops, apartments, coffee shops etc. right across A1A.

This beach is clean and well maintained, ample parking available at beach park parking lot. It’s very active throughout the entire day abs into the night.

Pros:
- Plenty of benches and shade
- Plenty of parking
- Close to hotels and amenities

Cons:
- Traffic can be intense during the afternoon and evening hours, especially weekends.
- Will need to feed the meter to park for extensive hours, as they check your plates frequently to make sure you are validated.

We stayed at the Sonesta which faces the beach and its part of the beach is less crowded as elsewhere. The beach is very wide with beautiful sand and there are very few algae that are removed daily. Florida water is crystal clear. When the sun is shining, what more can you ask for?

So much better than Miami. One of the best beaches in florida with a retro vibe right across the street.

The beach is choked with seaweed. Almost every day during the summer. Don’t waste your money here or anywhere in South Florida. Climate change and fertilizer runoff is responsible for these extensive blooms.

Beach guys were great! We were not staying at the hotel so Chairs a little but too much for public, do get water bottles in addition. . $96 for three chairs and an umbrella! Worth it to be comfortable and not in the sand………………….,,………………………………….!!!!

The Ft Lauderdale Strip is still a fun and amazing walk after all of these years. Many restaurants and bars to visit, not to mention the beautiful beaches and views.

Great hotel and excellent staff. Ocean view suite on south side with room ending in 09 was fabulous. Great wrap around deck. Room was very clean. Housekeeping provided excellent service. Ryan and Jenny were very sweet and provided excellent service at Pool deck and bar. Tony at valet helped to secure us 2 bikes. Hotel needs to upgrade bikes or get bikes serviced. We felt very welcome and would go back.

My wife and I were pleased to be able to come & visit this beach. It wasn't crowded & the beach area was well maintained.

Don't just stay south of Sunrise Boulevard. One of the best hotels is Sun Tower, and you don't want to miss Lauderdale By the Sea!

Be very careful if parking at el Prada public parking. You prepay on the amount of time you think you will need the parking for. Even if you selected to have notifications sent to you, doesn’t mean they will be sent. Set a timer on your phone. 10 minutes late is a $30 fine.

That calm and clean, and even on event days, while you're outside, it's not that crowded, and the lifeguards are on duty.

The beach was well kept and easily accessible. Water was warm and enjoyable. Will go again. It is always good to get your vitamin sea in for a few days.

A beautiful relaxed beach with white soft sand and wonderful waves in the ocean. A place to relax and enjoy nature. In addition, there are many wonderful stores and restaurants just a short walk from the beach.

Wide divided cement paver path for bikers and walkers running parallel to the beach and ocean shoreline. Attractive sea wall separates the sand from the wide path. True sense of community strolling, walking, pedaling and running the path in the two designated lanes. We wanted a little Florida beach feel as we had a long wait for airplane departure after cruise ship return. A variety of shops to explore, restaurants and ice cream shops kept us busy. If returning to the area for similar purposes, I would definitely book an accommodations property near Fort Lauderdale Beach and try out the various bike rentals for a longer exploring distance.

I absolutely love Fort Lauderdale Beach!! Sooo beautiful, wide and clean!! We live in a paradise!! If you are looking for a quieter part than hang out between Sunrise and Oakland Park;)

We loved looking out over the beach from our hotel balcony and enjoyed walking along the beach on a recent vacation. We’ll definitely go back!

Every time I come to Fort Lauderdale beach I leave happy. It’s clean, the water is warm, and it’s not noisy.

We visited in February 2023, the beach was very clean and there were lifeguards. Lots of food options across the street.

The beach and weather was amazing, Julian rented us chairs and an umbrella and was so attentive to us and made the visit memorable

Beautiful!! Water was cooler than expected. Steep shoreline at the water. Beach sand fine, white and clean. Loved have shade and picnic tables on the beach!! We did see a Manatee " swim" by. Impressive.

The beach was clean and my girls and I really enjoyed it! We will return on our next trip to Florida!

Beautiful place to visit without having to spend a fortune. Lots of vendors and restaurants to see. It's a great place to walk bike or jog.

There’s a little bit of everything in Ft Lauderdale. The food was great, the wind was wild and the beaches were beautiful.

There is the sky, the sun and the sea... Beautiful beach furnished with all clichés: coconut trees, sportsmen of all kinds, colorful cabins of lifeguards,... The atmosphere is typically American. To spend a pleasant half day.

The beach was a little difficult to get to from our hotel as all the hotels on the beach did not allow access through their property. Once we got there it was stunning, white sand that was respectfully clean. Visiting the beach is a must regardless of location.

nice clean beach - plenty of activities and very few homeless. the city keeps it up real nice. good for walking and people watching.

Two years ago, I was living in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I lived near the beach for several years.
During that time, I visited the long stretch of shore many, many times. For the most part, it is always crowded, regardless of where you are on the water or what time of year it is.
It is very clean and there is plenty of places to find free parking without having to walk very far if you are not staying in one of the hundreds of hotels that are nestled along the sand.
You will also find many areas with decent public restrooms, trash cans, and outdoor showers.
The beach gets EXTREMELY cold and windy at night. If you plan to stay after the sun goes down, be sure to pack a sweater.
It is overall a pretty nice area and is definitely worth visiting.

Grabbed an Impulsive s.w.air sale ticket to beat the end of winter.disappointing to have to deal with spring break but rented a nice condo,Tiffany house,several blocks away from the strip so it was quiet.went to ft lauderdale beach park expansive with plenty of parking.highlight was Hugh Taylor birch park. Place is large with everything: parking.trails,canoes and kayaks,inter coastal waterway,restaurant and bar ,beach access,bike rentals and rollerblading all for $6!plus anoles and gopher tortoises dogs allowed on leash

great restaurants and bars along the walkway ..very hood police presence and patrols..terrific beach and hotels..

The beaches are beautiful, plenty of lifeguards, fun to watch ships. Next time we will go to the one on south end close to Coconuts restraunt. It has paid parking but also restrooms and picnic tables and shade.

We desperately wanted to avoid the crowds and the further north we drove, the less busy it got. It was clean and water was superb but I preferred Pompano beach which was much wider and not so close to the street and car traffic.

Great stay at Sonesta Beach Fort Lauderdale...across from the beach and convenient location - close to all. Great shops and restaurants all nearby, many in walking distance. Staff were superb and hotel was very clean. This was a great stay!

Had I known it was going to be Spring Break here I wouldn’t have booked coming here at this time. My review is not a fair review because of that. The streets are crowded with teenagers and the ocean front restaurants are overcrowded with teenagers too. There are police and security people everywhere.

Having said that, we found a great restaurant called Casablaca which we highly recommend. This restaurant is more popular with non-teenagers and the food and service is wonderful!!!

Coconuts Restaurant tonight which was recommended to us.

Also our accommodation at the Marriott Park Place is outstanding!

Understandably packed on the weekend . Good view of tankers floating south to the port .

Like a big swimming pool and very clean! Everyone was distancing and no masks needed. Beautiful area.

I have been to Fort Lauderdale in and off for 30 years. The place has gone downhill. Sure they have added luxury condos expensive restaurants but many things have gone downhill. First the beach. They used to take the seaweed and trash off the sand every day. Now we are on the third day and they have done zero beach cleaning. Second they have done nothing to clean and beautify the side streets and ally’s. They still have broken glass and garbage. Third the homeless population just sleeps on the sidewalks This is a family destination for gods sake. Lastly the draconian COVID measures they put in place and attempting to shame people or
Threaten people in to compliance is a huge step backward compared to the rest of Florida. I’m sad to say this may be the last time we come here.

The beach was wonderful. Clean, clear water and you can walk out far before not being able to touch. Many seashells and small waves. We had lounge chairs and towels provided by out hotel. One of the nicest beaches I have been to and the water was warm. Family friendly.

I only got to spend an hour or so on Fort Lauderdale Beach but it was so beautiful. I was staying at B Ocean Hotel, so we entered the beach near there, which had great seating areas and had volley ball posts if you wanted to play.

Would love to visit this beach again soon.

this is a people watchers dream. bicyclists, walkers, skate board riders, jogger, in-line skaters all make a run through this area of Fort lauderdale beach. take your time and sit on the wall next to A1A eating an icecream or get a spot at the Elbow Room. you wont regret being there!

It's a truly beautiful beach, and we were here on a sunny, balmy day, so we were lucky. But we did not have a lot of time to enjoy it so maybe next time. Lots of people on the beach and in the water.

The water was fairly warm and cleaned. We swam in the ocean only one day, however walked along in several times. It’s a beautiful beach and would recommend it for all.

The water had quite a bit of trash in it and I think it had to due with the hurricane that hit the Keys.

Spotless, peaceful, relaxing! Aqua waves, gentle breezes. What more can I say. No annoying seashells to hurt your feet. Enjoy!

The tortuga fest location is just perfect the only issue is there is no side walk from the B motel beach side to the front of the venue entrance but the beach is amazing. Very clean quiet and even on a day that has an event when your outside it’s not super packed and the lifeguards are attentive.

An amazing beach and its Boulevard for dining, shopping options. It's a totally fun environment if you're sitting at beach or even driving.

Ok, once again not going to start bad. Beach was narrow but nice and clean water nice, weather for February real nice. What ever charm was here packed up a long time ago. Almost killed on my bike. Too much traffic. Food yes. Big city with a beach.

We added on a few days in Ft Lauderdale before heading to the keys. The beach here is beautiful. Crowds were not too bad this time of year. Our first venture to a big city since COVID and was a little nervous about what to expect. About 80% of the people are wearing masks while out and about. The resorts and restaurants do seem to be enforcing it in their facilities. The restaurants get booked so would recommend you make reservations in advance.

The fave part of my experience on Ft Lauderdale beach today was the amazing ocean breeze! Today was a RED FLAG and a PURPLE FLAG day. We learned that a purple flag meant "dangerous marine animals" so...no swimming for me. I took my usual scoop of awesome beach sand and it was very different from my sample of Daytona Beach sand.

Malcolm @ the front desk was amazing! Booking.com gave us the wrong room size and Malcolm didn’t skip a beat transferring us to their sister hotel and even helped carry our luggage down to that property. The price was even lower. He was super friendly, laughing and making us feel right at home. Hotel is cozy, quaint and clean. One block to the beach and a delicious restaurant on site. Our entire party would recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay here again.

Fort Lauderdale: You can keep it. The beach is lacking, not very deep and certainly not very romantic. Look at great beaches around the world: this is not one of them.
Daytona Beach is so deep and wide and walkable. Myrtle Beach the same. And the beaches in Mexico are astouding for beauty and culture. And the traffic in FTL is awful, the restraurants are overpriced and a lot of people look glum and tired.

Great day at the beach here. Lots of sand and beach area to go around. There was public restrooms and wash stations. Only downside here is there wasn't any areas to get drinks/food unless ur further down. I would make sure you bring snacks !

Beat beach for site seeing, swimming, volleyball or just relaxing. Great restaurants and hotel bars.

My husband and I had a flight issue and had to spend an extra day in Ft. Lauderdale. We had planned one day after a cruise and we spent the day on Hollywood Beach and thought it was fabulous so when we had the flight issue and found we were spending a second day I thought we would go back to Hollywood Beach. My husband suggested Ft. Lauderdale Beach. I was pleasantly surprised it wasn’t the beach I remembered from college spring break decades early. It was clean, safe and fun for all ages. Great restaurants, we rented chairs and an umbrella. You can also rent bikes. I highly recommend.

The Beach was amazing, wasn't to crowded. It wasn't really hot, breezy and the water was at the perfect temperature. The Beach is my favorite place in the world.

i was suppose to get married on miami beach but due to covid they moved it to ft lauderdale beach at last minute and it was perfect. both beaches were great backdrops. it was busy though compared to miami beach

This beach has breathtaking views. I come here to relax when needed. Plenty of food options and nice hotels. If u like Miami but want a more adult sophisticated area to chill vibe and enjoy the ocean? This is it. I recommend it for relaxation.

I don’t know if its normally like this or from the storm surge from the hurricane. The beach is full of litter, all kinds of plastic debris and we found a large piece of glass as well. Definitely the dirtiest beach i’ve been too. Again i’m hoping it’s from the hurricane, but it’s been a week and this area wasn’t hit that bad. We love to walk on the beach at night, but I feel like I can’t because of the trash and what i might step on

The beach was always clean. The views are beautiful. Masks are not required on the beach, unlike other beaches.

Great beach! Spent about 3 hours on a weekday afternoon. Walk along the beach shore, a game of frisbee on the white sand, relaxing under an umbrella on a beach chair/towel - it's all wonderful here.
Cycling on the beach boulevard is also a must - make sure you hit the most popular party joint "Rock bar"

The public access to the beach is on commercial street, and perhaps some other spots too, but the public access on commercial street has a ton of restaurants and shops all up and down from the beach entrance, with also a public sitting area that is covered before you enter the beach. There is no charge to get on the beach, but if you are not staying at a hotel that is located on the beach your access will need to be through a public spot of entrance, and again one is on commercial street which is highly recommended with nice restaurants and safe walking with sidewalks and traffic lights.

The beach is clean, but is not very wide but is long in length, there are some small shells and also jelly fish walking along the beach by the water. There is no boardwalk, we just walked through the sand by the water getting our feet wet only, but did not set up to sit on the beach. The beach shows a pier that is split, which looks interesting near the public access area, near commercial street. If you like a boardwalk kind of beach, this is not going to be what you want, but it's not bad at all, very nice and private like environment. We didn't see anyone renting out chairs and umbrellas to those on the public access side, but perhaps those things are choices if you are staying at a hotel that is located directly on the beach. Anyway, it was just an okay beach in my opinion, the strip of stores on commercial street make it worth going to the beach over there with the public access.

Water and weather was beautiful! We were there during spring break and it was crowded but everyone was low key and it was very relaxing.

Good place to spend the day doing everything you want at a beach or absolutely nothing. Plenty of souvenir shops and restaurants and bars. The beach and surrounding area is clean and safe. I enjoyed my day.
There is a lot of traffic but crossing between the hotels and businesses is not a problem. I suspect parking would be a challenge on busy days but I was there on a school day and in the middle of the week so it was fine. Be prepared to walk a long way if you want to take it all in.....or not.

I had a little time to kill on a recent visit, so I headed to the beach for a nice stroll. The is a very nice, wide promenade on the beach side of the road plus lots of shops, bars and restaurants if you need a break. Busy place but still scenic.

This beach is nice for a quiet and peaceful day on the sand. I would recommend avoiding it during spring break time, however, the other times of the year it is beautiful. The water is nice, lifeguards are plentiful, and typically, it is not too windy to set up a nice umbrella and chairs.

Nice afternoon choice. A tad loud for us -hard to relax with so much BBQ's and loud music going on. However, a nice clean beach.

There were quite a few people at the beach because we were there on a Saturday but still the beach is fantastic with the sand, bright sun and calming waves from the Atlantic Ocean. If you not staying at one of the hotels along the strip the parking spaces are difficult to find and so you will have to park in one of the paid parking lots. But plenty of restaurants and shops if you choose a break from the beach.

I love this beach. My wife and I loved long walks on this beach. I would love to return to this beach again on our next cruise in and out of Ft. Lauderdale.

Sand is white, plenty of room the set up, and the Elbow Room is right across the street if you wanna grab a drink!! Overall a great experience!!

Very crowded on weekends. Hotels and apartments throughout for stays . Walk to the beach kind of area . Beautiful views. White kind of sand ,they have benches and chairs to sit . I saw umbrellas here and there . Snack shops and resturants all close by.

The beach was clean and we felt safe. Spent the day riding waves and soaking up the sun. Perfect way to end our trip to Ft Lauderdale

Beautiful, clean beach. Water was clean and there were lifeguards on duty each day. There are grills, exercise area, volleyball, kids playground, picnic tables, etc there. There is a bath house on site as well. The beach is large so it didn't feel crowded at all. I would definately recommend this beach!

Flew down from NC to witness Spring Breakers in action and were not disappointed. There were students EVERYWHERE but more importantly, there were cops everywhere. They were on motorcycles, horses, dune buggies, cars, the street. I felt very safe (I'm 63) the entire time (3 days) but will admit that we didn't go out after 9 on any night. The beach was really pretty but we found we couldn't walk on it because the waves break where we would be walking. Very different than in NC but beautiful nonetheless.

I was disappointed that I went to purchase a bathing suit and the lady said what are you a size 14. I was shocked and smiled and agreed. She then told me bc I was so big I needed to look for a cover up. I told her not needed. She said are you sure bc I think you should get it! I then spent more on parking $35 than time on the beautiful beach. We had to change at Taco Bell bc there is no place to change or use bathroom.

Much better beach than Miami Beach have a nice walk on Las Olas Blvd and go over the bridge to find many restaurants options

My cousin and I flew in today and we just wanted to see the beach before it got too cold. It was beautiful. People had masks and social distanced. It felt safe. There was a breeze but sun.

Nice beach with life guards. Plenty of things to do both on and off the beach. Plenty of rentals for chairs, umbrellas, water sports, etc...

First time in Fort Lauderdale and this is definitely wayyyy better than Miami Beach! The vibe is pretty good. There are lots of restaurants along the side the beach as well as small mom and pop shops. This beach has a younger vibe to it but still great for anyone! Family, friends, and even couples.
Parking is $10-25 depending where you park.
There is a $10 parking for 3 hours in the Marriott hotel garage.
The beach is cleaned daily and looks well kept.

It is a really nice beach ⛱️. Lots of family's, couples having a great time. You can see the big ships coming in. Lots of fun.

Fort Lauderdale beach is great! There are vendors throughout renting lounge chairs for $18 a day and Canabanas for $100. The beach is very hard to "stroll". The sand is very loss. There's almost always sun and the restaurants lining the area are outdoors and adorable! Walker friendly. Fresh market on Sat mornings is to die for. Fresh fruit stand that accepts credit cards. Have your mask on and enjoy!

This beach is beautiful, long and fun. There's plenty of places to go along this stretch. Parking at meters in lots looks like it could be hard to find spots on weekends when busy. The boardwalk is a very nice place to walk and never ending.

Easy acess to the beach from hotels nearby plus a parking deck next to CVS. White sand beach with clear water. If you want to go for a stroll a side walk follows the beach for several miles.

This beach is part o very long beautiful beach area divided into a few different names. It's long and fun. There's plenty of businesses to visit along this stretch but I found the beach itself to be a great place to spend mornings and afternoons. Plenty of space to spread out, even on busy weekends.

We came for the weekend to get away from the snow. We actually used part of the beach about a mile or so down from the main part that had lounge chairs and shops. The beach was clean and water perfectly clear. It wasn’t crowded and we were able to meter park right next to our spot. Spent about 5 hours enjoying the sand and waves. Only marked it down to a 4 as from our particular spot there weren’t nearby restrooms. Other than that it was great!

We went to Fort Lauderdale Beach today and it was a great experience this time with our entire family. It was very clean and the waves were bigger than Pompano Beach. There was a No Dogs sign posted which was nice. We were able to rent a couple chaises and get a good bit of sun with lots of local shops and restaurants to grab a bite from. Definitely had the coastal beach island vibe going on. Would most definitely go back.

Fort Lauderdale Beach is a fun place to visit - especially in the winter if you're from a colder part of the U.S. like me. The weather was perfect, and sitting on a beach chair in the ocean breeze revitalized me. The town has lots of fun bars and restaurants and is very walkable. The beach itself isn't what I would call pristine - there are many nicer beaches - but it was a great place to visit and I'll be back.

We are at the Westin Ft. Lauderdale. The beach is nice and cleaned daily. We stayed at the Marriott Hollywood in 2018 and noticed the beach there was better, also larger.

This is a nice clean beach with soft sand. Beach has amenities. Restaurants are nearby. A great beach for a swim or stroll.

We stayed at the Sonesta right across from the beach..just want to say Rafael and Jaxon were so accommodating and so pleasant. Took care of us every time we came to beach! Made our experience here memorable. Thx guys! Def will back.

A very chilled boardwalk, with moderate resturants.. Ie not fancy but good food. Lovely beaches for the whole family. Good night time entertainment at times. Definitely go down to the pier at the very end.. Great restaurant on the quay, over the water

Memorial Day Weekend 2021 was amazing in Fort Lauderdale. The Great American Beach party (Saturday, May 27th) was so much fun! Vendors with tons of products/services, skydiving police officers, animal petting, great restaurants, live music, car show and more!

Let’s not forget the greatest undeniable benefits: the soft sand and warm ocean water! This beach has beautiful scenery - trees for shaded beach setups, ample trash bins to help keep the beach clean, volley ball nets and basketball courts. Great family atmosphere. I especially love the ocean views from the restaurants, bars & shops. Can hardly wait to return!

Always a treat to be by the beach. Little bits of shells inspire for our February visit. Nice places for towels and beverages too.

Ft. Lauderdale beach was super nice. White sand, clean and an easy walk from our hotel. I was there with my three adult children. We walked, laid on the beach and played in the water. Gorgeous place.

I was visiting family and working during the week and on Friday decided to visit the beach to unwind and enjoy the sea. The shoreline was clean and so was the water- perfect! The afternoon sun provided the perfect heat to relax, capping off my mini holiday week while in Florida.

If you visit in the week as oppose to weekend, it’s best because it’s less crowded and parking is easier to find. Definite must visit if you’re in the area and looking for some r&r time along the water.

It’s always clean! Not overly crowded ! Just a beautiful beach! Fort Lauderdale is my favorite place!! The restaurants are wonderful! Walk every morning! Path all along the ocean is my favorites!!

Very clean beach. Soft sand and clear water. Jet skis are available for rental. Saw a protective wire sea turtle nest cover and that was pretty neat to see.

I spent a week on the beach in front of the Bahia mar hotel and Trevor the guy who managed the sunbeds honestly was one of the most wonderful helpful happy person I have ever met he was always so pleasant and checked all the time if I was ok and did I need water made my time on the beach so pleasant and unforgettable if everyone was like Trevor the world would be a better place

The beach is beautiful, and FTL has so many good places to eat. The weather was perfect--80 during the day, 70 during the night. The night life is fantastic with many fun clubs.

One of the few beaches with a vast expanse not blocked by resort hotels. Casual and not overly crowded like Miami beach, soft white sand, deep blue water. Everything you'd want from a Florida beach! Definitely one of the finest in the USA.

We love our time in Ft Lauderdale. The beach is great - except when it’s spring break! Beware end of February and Month of March!!!! Hundreds of drunk/high college students.

Beach was super clean! Safe distancing was taking place. Note, there are a few homeless people hanging around, but they are few and far between. Nothing like similar beaches in Southern California. I would choose SOFLO over SOCAL for a day at the beach anytime.

This was my first time in Florida. My first time seeing the ocean. And my first time walking in real sand( we don’t have sand in Ohio lol) Fort Lauderdale beach was absolutely stunning! Perfectly socially distanced groups and everyone seemed to be following all guidelines pertaining to the global pandemic. Not that that even mattered while I was there I was at the friggin ocean ;) the restaurants and shops nearby were awesome and made it really easy to do things without having to hop in the car every time we went somewhere because everything was walking distance.

Had a great time staying at the Conrad and staying directly across where there was a beach. We we met a very nice worker named Aoella who set us up with this really nice beach bed. Can’t wait to return!

You can walk this beach for miles. Tons of things to do like jet skis and kayaks. Sand is super soft and the water is nice. Great place to walk

This beach is a public beach just miles of clean sand, light blue ocean water with a promenade on one side and the vibe of the city on the other (restaurants, cafes, hotels). You can just sit and enjoy people watching. Even in January the weather is nice. You can go for a stroll along the ocean.

Was very disappointed because while the beaches were beautiful. There are no public facilities for changing or bathrooms at all at least on the mile or so we traveled. Unless you stay at a hotel nearby sort of stuck. Plan ahead if you go to the beach. They are beautiful just limited. Was really surprised having been to Miami Beach and south Miami Beach which does have public facilities on the public beaches.

The ride is always beautiful. Just make sure there is no boat show or concerts going on. Of course parking always jumps up during events. You can't beat the view.

We took a quick weekend getaway and spent about 2 hours in Ft. Lauderdale before heading up north. There was plenty of parking close to the beach with an outside shower near the parking lot to be able to rinse off. This beach was beautiful with water of variable shades of blue, aqua/teal and crystal clear water near the shoreline. I did take a short stroll on the beach and was able to find a few small sea shells. I wish I had more time to spend at this beach as it was beautiful with very calm water.

The rooms are confortabke and well cleaned. Very good breakfast. Very nice Swimming pool. Staff friendly, and easy check in

Terrific beach. Tricky parking. I would say in between Hollywood and South Beach. No doubt the place to visit if you’re staying here.

My husband and I wanted a quick getaway with a nice beach. Southwest made it a no-brainer to hit Fort Lauderdale for the weekend. The beach and the water were great! Not too many people, although the weekend tends to be busier. Many people brought their own chairs and umbrellas but the hotel we stayed with provided chairs daily with our hotel stay. Umbrella not included though. It’s $25/day to rent the umbrella, $15 for chairs.

The water was crystal clear and there was no seaweed at all, which made for pleasant wading and walking. The water was a bit chilly, so few people were actually swimming. You do get a workout when you walk, as you sink into the sand because it is not firm. Parking is $4/hr at the public lot, and the price for umbrellas and chairs has gone up from $20 each last year to $25 each this year. Seventy-five dollars for two chairs and one umbrella seems like a lot, especially if you plan to spend multiple days on the beach.

Nice public beach. The beach was not too crowded and the Sonesta Hotel provided towels and beach chairs for their guests. The water was warm and it was nice to be on the beach after several years.

It's one of the major beach areas in town, near lots of hotels. Can get a little crowded as it is so well-located. Some places to eat nearby.

I liked Pompano Beach better than Ft. Lauderdale. Its less crowded and has cheaper lounge chair/umbrella rentals. The water was gorgeous and the perfect temperature though!

I love the beach.It was just great. A place that has something for everyone. Swiming, playing in the sand, relaxing and much more.

A miles long, clean, beautiful beach with easy access to the ocean. The northern end is a lot less busy as it fronts a residential area.

One of the nicer Atlantic coast beaches, in part due to how easy it is to access (ample parking and several beachheads), its length, and its proximity to hotels, restaurants, as well as a lovely and long sidewalk. Great for walkers. Ample foot and body washes to wash off the sand.

Lauderdale Beach was okay. It was very windy and the water was choppy. I guess I didn't go far enough to enter the nice part of the beach. Stayed an hour. Meh.

Great time in Ft Lauderdale. 80 degrees, and sunshine! Definitely a place to go to find warmer weather.

In november we had strong wind and some seaweed in the water. Its expensive (18 usd) to rent a sunbed. The road is close by. Lots of restaurants to choose between.

This is such a nice beach! We visited in Jan so no spring breakers which is very nice. Lots of places to walk close by for food &

This beach is perfect and easy access and also has lots of sea shells! It feels so nice to sit in the waves I wish I would of brought some food for the birds

I've fallen in love! This beach was absolutely perfect. Clear water. Clean. Gritty sand - not the soft white sands of say, Destin. However,the surrounding area beat out anything I've seen on other FL beaches. From Destin, West Palm, Miami, this is my new FAVORITE!

Beautiful beach that runs for mile and miles with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants running parallel to it. Running inland through the little Venice area was also a very interesting walk.

All the beauty with none of the drawbacks. Relaxed chill vibe. Definitely worth the stay and check out Tintas!

Bradley was wonderful and completely cared about our time on the beach. He kept checking in with us and accommodate us. He is the very best!!

Beach was clean and plenty of life guards. Chair and umbrella offered. Chairs come free with hotel reservations. Umbrella is an extra charge of $25. Plenty of liquor stores, surf shops and restaurants across the street.

The reviews don't lie. This place is great and we come every year. My review is a helpful warning to newbies to watch out for the jellyfish. The blue balloon like animals that wash up on the beach tell you that you should not go into the water. If the winds are off the water and blowing at you on the sand, then they float in from way out. They sting and will ruin your vacation. They are up and down the coast. So when the wind blows off the land, they blow out to sea and its safe to swim. I've attached a photo to know what to look for.

Great area to visit and plenty to do. Excellent beach and restaurants! Will definitely come back when the weather and ocean are alittle warmer.

4 days here and only 1 where ppl were swimming. Don't drown b/c flags up saying this is dangerous. Go to the gulf side.

Stayed on Lauderdale Beach (First post Covid Trip). Most places require mask and are respectful, some bars you may want to avoid if worried but overall you can’t beat the sun, sand and great walking distance restaurants!!!

Love the beach here as it is white sands and nice space for hanging out! Bike rides down US 1 are the best!

Had a great time at the beach. Hotel was a bust but everything outside of the hotel was awesome! Beach was nice and relaxing. Las Olas Blvd was fun, walking the strip was nice, and the food at Marina Village was great. We did a boat tour and loved it. We even ventured the intracoastal waters and river way.

The Fort Lauderdale Beach is an extension of the Las Olas Beach. Beach chairs an umbrellas to rent, showers by the street, and plenty of shops, restaurants and bars just across Las Olas Blvd. A bit windy and cold to get in the water this January, but still a nice walk.

Parking very expensive! 4$/ hour is quit too much. But you can park very close to the beach, that’s cool!

Fun time. Great beach and lots and lots of options. There are so many restaurants that you will eat somewhere different every meal.

Beautiful spacious white sand beach! The only con is all the seaweed. The beach was full of it like I had never seen before. Endless thick rows of dried out (sometimes fly ridden) seaweed you need to walk through to get to the water. Bizarre. Even in the water, the seaweed was plentiful.

Just a few blocks north of Las Olas Blvd., you’ll have plenty of social distanced beach and ocean fun. The weekend was bit more crowded, but still lots of space on the beach to stay away from other beach goers. Enjoy.

Last visit was in 2019 before the covid outbreak. Have always loved the beach with crystal clear water. Highly recommended you check it out.

Good place to relax, clear sand and water. Parking can be astruggle especially if not staying near the beach. Many godo options on places to eat.

This was a very nice beach, clean and nicely kept. You can rent chairs and an umbrella there but not sure of the price as we didn't do it.

I love Fort Laudedale beach!! It’s my favorites beach for long time!!! Here you can find a lot of restaurants, bars, clubs and pool party’s Sundays!! Also all the bars have bogo everyday all day!! Aldi u find the legendary Elbow Room, beach place, and a lot of activities arounds

I you order very simple things. A burger that’s not overcooked. Sounds simple enough to me. Are usually go in before 5 PM to get rare prime rib has not happened in the last five visits. There is also an unusually high amount of turnover even before COVID-19. The wait staff works hard and they should be proud of what they serve. It’s really a shame

Ft. Lauderdale has a lot to offer, food, entertainment, and a great beach. Easy to get in and out of the airport, plenty of places to stay, and always nice to see green grass and palm trees.

What a beautiful beach. Went for a long run daily. The beach was very clean and there were lifeguards. So many restaurants, there is a Starbucks at the Westin, and a CVS.

Nice beach convenient to all amenities. rental chairs and umbrellas nice condition. just would like to see ocean weeds raked up off the sand during off hours.

We have been to this beach several times when we have visited the city. It is always very pleasant. The beach is well cared for. On this visit we were fortunate to see the ss United Stated sail by under tow.

We drive on A1, walk on the beach, it was a little cold and windy, my family played basket ball on a park next the beach. We eat on a restaurant called Thai on the Beach. Great food at good price.

This beach isn’t very deep, from the street to the water, but it was ok. The sand is a bit coarse and the beach was quite full, considering it’s smallish size, but people were respectful of one another’s space. We walked the beach for a few miles and it never got much larger or better. There are several restaurants on the beach’s edge, many were quite expensive and/or loud. It didn’t have the relaxed beach quality I prefer.

Coming from the PNW, this beach is a treasure! Large expanse of sand, engaged lifeguards, plenty of space to play, sunbathe, picnic, body surf. Bathroom and outdoor shower clean and big enough that I didn’t have to wait. Lots of cheap parking.

Visiting this beach on a Sunday afternoon or evening is not recommended.
Monday morning, however, brings an entirely more pleasant experience.

This was my first time staying in the lovely fort Lauderdale, my hotel was right across the street from the beach. The beach was clean, and the sand very soft.

I have to go to the store to get my stuff done and I will be home in a few minutes if you want to come over and help me with the stuff I need to do for you and I can do it tomorrow if you want to come over and help me with the rest of the stuff

Great week on the beach and really liked the BeachPlace location. We would recommend for any family.

Very busy and crowded on Sunday cars were backed up along the Riverwalk constant noise on Monday it was quiet much better beautiful beach beautiful water enjoyed the day much better on Monday

Saw there were going to be decent waves this weekend so brought my boards to the beach for some boogie boarding. When I parked I noticed the flags was 1 red not 2 red, 2 red means water is closed to public one red means high surf, swimming is discouraged but allowed. The life guard told me I couldn't go in the water unless if I had fins which is ridiculous fins help but are not required. Don't waste your money here. I've been boogie boarding for 20 years I follow the flags rules, Im aware of how rip currents work and am mindful.
