8 of 415 Best Attractions in Cincinnati

I don’t think that Great American gets enough credit for its unique qualities that really tie it to the city and region. From the smokestacks to the riverboat in center field, you know you are in Cincinnati when you enter this park. Even the light poles that tie it back to Crowley Field.
Beyond that though, the park is lacking. I had to walk forever to find a hot dog, which was flavorless. My seats this time were great, but this is the first time in approximately 10 visits that I liked the seats and I have been all over the park. They pushed the 50/50 raffle hard, but saw no other vendors during the 7 innings we stayed.
Pluses include, the sound system, which is very good and the location, which allows easy drop off by Lyft/Uber and has lots of restaurants in easy walking distance for after the game. The employees in both the food stand and souvenir shop were great. Though I did not visit this time, I’ve been to the Reds Hall of Fame and is very good. The minuses include the views from most of the seats, the poor food quality, and the general experience which is not as exciting as most ball parks I’ve been to. The race between the Mr. Reds is an obvious rip off of the Sausage Race in Milwaukee, the music choices and between inning games etc. seemed to fall flat.

Great place. Family friendly. Food was variate. The staff was very friendly and fun. Clean and enjoyable. People were nice and patient.

Live within an hour of Great American. Always been a Sox fan but I visit this stadium regularly and watch games. Stadium and food is great! Love this place

The park is easy to get to if you are at a downtown hotel. It is in walking distance of many. The Ball Yard is wide and open with great concession and many activities for the youngsters You will enjoy your time here.

I would highly recommend catching a game at the ball park. I would also suggest taking a tour of the stadium as well.

Saw the Cubs and Reds play August 2019. Typical park, nothing stood out. Lots of activities around the stadium before the game started. The ballpark is close to alot of restaurants and bars. Pain in the ass catching an Uber after the game. Not sure if it was an issue with the driver or how alot of the streets were closed off or one way.

Love this stadium! It feels personal in this stadium. They have incorporated some of the old stadium as you enter, and you can walk on the original field. They have an excellent area to get away from the crowd and allow the kids to play. There is not a bad seat in the house. If you are making your way to the stadium, leave in plenty of time to hit the outdoor park by the river, and walk through the roses!

This was my eleventh ballpark to visit and it’s good one. Intimate and close to the action. Great site lines of the river.

Reds won in 11 innings versus Milwaukee 4-3. The Skyline chili parlor on the third base side was closed so we had to walk to the first base side. At the exterior shop I found a hat for the year. The food was good but Montgomery inn had no ribs.

Great place to watch a game. Food options could be better but beer options are exceptional. Parking was a mess and expensive.

This is my second visit to GABP and I am even more impressed this time. The very first thing I noticed is the friendliness of everyone we met. Their bag policy is realistic and that was really welcome. There is a variety of food options. I stuck with the hot dog but everything looked amazing. They do have the best hot dogs in MLB parks in my opinion. And, I have been to all 30 ballparks.
I don’t know if it was the ushers or the fans themselves but I didn’t see people going to & from seats or standing in aisle talking like you do in some parks.
Seats were comfortable and in good repair. You can walk all the way around the ballpark which is great though concourses are on the narrow side.
After visiting all MLB ballparks I rate this one in top 5

We are from out of town, and my son and I would rank this near the top of the 10 MLB parks we have visited, in terms of location and the surrounding area. The only negative I would have is the cost of the slushees. The souvenir cup of soda cost less than the slushee and had at least double the capacity (and you get a souvenir!).

We had great seats at field level but moved around the ballpark. No bad views. Met some lovely people working here too. It's expensive to eat and drink here though. Do it outside.

Went here to catch the Rays/Reds game. Very nice ballpark and it’s a great location right on the river. The atmosphere for the game was nice. A good ballpark to take in a game.

We decided to make a quick trip to the Great American Ballpark as we hit all of the MLB teams. This is a decent place to watch a ballgame. There is a lot of variety for food/drink options as well. Recommend purchasing a Kids Club package for the kids—great discounts and souvenirs. The stadium site lines are good—reminds me a lot of PNC Park in Pittsburgh and Oracle Park in SF (same stadium designers/Populus). The only complaint I have is that the team store was very crowded and you need to be scanned out of the park and reenter through security. The Reds also have many, many ceremonial pitches before the game (which tended to be a bit tiresome). I’d definitely return to this ballpark.

We went to the Reds/Cubs game. Going to the All American Ballpark is a real adventure. There’s plenty of food and entertainment throughout the game – besides the game. They have contest during breaks in the game and of course the organ music is always fun. We have tried several of the eateries. Nothing special, but everything is pretty good. Be prepared to pay a lot for a Coke or a beer. There are also several places for photo ops. It has been really hot each time we have been there and they have fans that are spewing water. That really helps on a hot night. The fireworks at the end are spectacular.

While there’s pretty much no bad place to sit in the park, the food was severely gross. I had an Italian sausage & Hubby got a brat. Both were basically boiled & topped with boiled onions & peppers. Zero flavor, zero texture and NOT what we expect from a ball park experience. Our friends got pizza, which was nauseatingly greasy looking. Heard that this was a new menu? sad.

We enjoyed our tour of the ball park. Beautiful place. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the ballpark and history of the Reds. He talked a little too much about he and his wife and where they ate there. More about the stadium would have been better for us. All and all an enjoyable tour .

Great place to catch the Reds play. Not a bad seat in the house, but don't expect to not spend some money for snacks n stuff. There is a dollar section where you can get a hot dog, soda, chips, etc for only a $1 each, but the lines are super long during the games...

Ballpark is very well designed. Everyone is in on the action on the field. Food choices are great and not extremely up priced for stadium food. Local choices are available on each level. The memorabilia around the park is fun as well. Great game and hey, the Cardinals pulled out a win.

The ballpark is nice.it was very hot the weekend we went.not very good at dealing with heat so after taking the tour of the ballpark I decided to get tickets in the enclosed part of the park.the seats were outside but you could stay inside and watch from seats in the air conditioning.all food was included.well worth the money

The ballpark is nice, but not great compared to others. The location of the ballpark is downtown and very convenient. Prices inside the ballpark are typical of a game in the midwest.

I am a sports fan and have been to many sports stadiums around the globe. We loved going to a reds game on a Monday night joined by just over 21000 other patrons. The chairs comfortable the views excellent and the game face paced and helped by a great performance by the home team. We enjoyed visiting the club shop and our tickets cost just $25.
The one activity that is not good value is eating and drinking with prices nearly 3 times as expensive as everywhere else we have experienced in Cincinnati. Large budget lights were $15, Soda’s $8, large pizza slice $9 (it was very nice), nachos $8 to $17 dollars depending on the size. If you can eat or drink before or after the game then you should as there are plenty of places close by that offer far better value, but if you are visiting please go to a game, even if baseball is not your sport of choice as it is a superb experience.

This park is better than many. We try to visit one or two new parks every season. We stayed in the club level. At Great American ballpark club seats include food. A nice perk. Club levels in most parks don’t include food. It was good, although not as good as in Cleveland. Seats are reasonably comfortable and laid out very well. We could see all the action and did not feel like we were a mile away like in many parks. One of the best features is that compared to most, it is relatively easy to get in and out. 2 blocks away we easily got a Lyft ride. Although we did not see a single cab anywhere around the park. Be aware that some of the upper level seats are exposed to a lot of sun. Some of the sections have very steep aisles. Also the Great American corporate tower quite literally LOOMS above the park. We found it a little “over the top”, to use a contrived description. It was almost foreboding!

It was my first time at this stadium and I was uneasy about attending in an electric wheelchair. When I drove to the stadium Joe Nuxhall Way was closed off with barriers. When I asked the police officer at the barriers where handicap drop-off was located, he said, "Right here!" He let us pull off the road right there and made sure we stayed safe as we unloaded my wheelchair.
We waited in the shade until my family met up with us after parking the car. Going through the metal detectors in my wheelchair was a breeze. When we got to our seats (section 135, row PP, seats 1-4) there were folding chairs right at the edge before descending the steps. An employee moved one of the chairs so I could pull right in. My family (who attended ball games here in the past) commented the folding chairs were more comfortable than the regular seats.
We had a great view from the first base side of the field and our seats were in the shade. When people stood up in front of me I could see the ball field over their heads! Man! What great seats!
We purchased a deal where you get five hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts, potato chips and one drink for $25. You got free refills on everything (except hot dogs) until the seventh inning. What a bargain!
There was lots of fun throughout the game. Foul balls recovered by players were tossed to kids in the seats. T-shirts were thrown in the stands. On occasion a small vehicle circled the field and fired plastic balls into the crowd. Mascots stopped to give autographs and take selfies.
Cancer was on the mound and when he achieved his 11th strikeout everyone got to redeem our tickets for a free small 1-topping pizza! Yes! I can't wait to return for another game!

I love coming home and going to the stadium. This stadium is really nice and right on the water. It is something you need to do.

Sat in the upper deck behind home plate and the view was unreal. One of the best in baseball. The crowd was into the game from the first to last pitch. Concession stands were all open and there was a lot of options to choose from, even in the 400/500 level.
Traffic was relatively easy to navigate before and after the game.
We attended on a Friday and there were fireworks after the game. The quality of the firework show was termendous. Much better than many municipalities on Independence Day!

The stadium was nice and price was reasonable for upper deck. We parked in a parking garage about 4 blocks away. Liked that there was a family area on the top deck and outside the ballpark. Food was okay.....hot dogs are not like our chicago dogs at Wrigley.... more like oscar meyer dogs.

The stadium is nice. Great setting right on the river. Dedicated fans all wearing Reds gear. (We took a shuttle boat ride to the game.)They have areas for little kids to play. Great beer selection and a wide range of food options. It was a small crowd but they were loud.

The tour was marvelous, interesting and just long enough. We were grateful for the air conditioning in the museum building.

Had a great time with the grandkids, the biggest beef I had was everything (except split the pot) was payable by credit card, US CURRENCY NOT EXCEPTED! I prefer to pay cash, to me it just shows the owner don't trust employees they hire.

This ballpark is probably the best one I've seen as far as a kids oriented area goes. There were so many options for kids to play with. We ran into a GameDay supervisor named Bob and he gave us a tour of the entire stadium during pregame on our road trip. GABP is underrated compared to its rankings online of MLB stadiums!

Spectacular first outing. Park is beautiful, very open and great views. Food and drink options good compared to most other parks. Fireworks on Fridays in summer were great

Our group traveled from Chicago to see a couple of Cubs vs. Reds games. The staff at the Great American Ballpark were all friendly and eager to answer any questions. Make sure you get there early, as the lines were long and took quite a while to get through right before the game started.
We bought our tickets ahead of time and compared to Wrigley, they were quite inexpensive. We also bought a couple of all you can eat passes, which we would not recommend doing. There are only two stands that you can go to, which are in the bleachers or upper deck, so the lines were quite long.
We definitely enjoyed our two days at the ballpark and would make a trip back in the future!

Super easy to navigate & nice stadium. I came to actually see the St Louis Cardinals play the Cincinnati Reds great first experience. I highly recommend if you’ve never been to a Cincinnati Reds game or are just in Cincinnati to make this a definite must! You def won’t regret it & I got some freebies at my game!

This is a great park to view a baseball game. It's a fairly new stadium so the facilities are very good. Tickets were also affordable.

What a beautiful stadium with super friendly staff! I came in for the Mets series and sat in Section 25 which was awesome. Great seats and access to the lounge area. Highly recommended.

Awesome ball park! Easy access. Gate entry was smooth. Concessions spread out plenty of options. Staff is friendly , only ran into one rude staff member at the all you can eat stand. Lots of places to relax and for the kids to play. Best deal all you can eat $25 per person. Classic lays , peanuts , walk up drink refills, and vouchers for 5 hotdogs ( not the greatest hotdogs)
Best burger 50 West level 1 near section 131
Classic or Kansas can’t go wrong.
Krinkle fries and fry sauce is a must. Don’t wait until the game starts to get a burger. Lines get long and slow. But they bust their tails to get food out. You also have to get the burgers just how they come no modifications. Great park and atmosphere

When to watch the Reds play the Cardinals. Had a good time. But it so expensive to go to a ball game.

As always the experience is a positive one. The park is safe, clean and well maintained. Riverfront Park is a nice place to go before the game. We are season pass holders.

Beautiful park, fantastic free activities for kiddos (whiffle ball, slide, playground, home run derby). Ball park food is always pricey but Powerade was $7, 16oz water $5, and that seemed extra high to me.

This was our second visit to Great American BP and out of the 18 parks we have visited this would probably be in the top 5. Good food selections. For a great view take a trip to the upper sections. They offer the best views of the rivers.

One night game in the heat and one day game in the cool breeze made for two win satisfaction. A walking taco one day and brats the next.

Great atmosphere, loved the club seats with lots of food choices and amenities. Wider, comfortable seats made viewing the game better. Plenty of on field activities between innings and a great, exciting performance by the Reds.

I went to a Friday night and then a Saturday afternoon game. Tickets are relatively inexpensive and the views are good. If shade is important sit on the first base side. There seems to be a good food selection at the stadium My favorite was Mr Red's Smokehouse which is on the lover level in the right field corner. The Banks provides a lively pregame and post game scene. The Reds Museum is worth a visit.

We love the ballpark! The staff is always friendly and helpful, they take you to your seats and wipe them off for you and are available with any and all information about the park. We've been there several times an hope to go back soon!

Our visit to Great American Ballpark was wonderful. Very clean. Employees were very friendly and accommodating. When the handicap seats didn't work for my husband, they offered us our pick of any available seating in the park. We will return.

We're big fans of Great American Ballpark. It's cozier and more personal than the old 1970s bowl style stadium and it really showcases the city and the Ohio River. You feel very close to the field and there is plenty to do in and around the stadium if you need a break from the game. Kids can play ball at the minuature kids field. There is also a playground and slide and the Hall of Fame can rival Cooperstown with some of its collections. Great food choices with the traditional ballpark fare and local favorite places like Skyline Chili, LaRosa's Pizza and Montgomery Inn ribs and pulled pork.

Easy walking from many downtown hotels, restaurants and bars, the ballpark is well-staffed with friendly and helpful folks! Very quick entry with digital tickets. You can bring sealed/unopened non-alcoholic beverages into the park. Plenty of washrooms, well-labeled seating areas with ushers readily available to assist in locating your section/seat. Great food, beverage and merch vendors…Skyline chili and Graeters ice cream, among the usual.

We've been to the Great American Ball Park several times and it is really worth the 6 hour drive we make to get there. We've been to many MLB stadiums and this is one of the BEST! The staff around the park are all friendly. There is so many food choices that it's hard to decide what to eat. I wish they would open the park earlier to get a chance to see the Reds take batting practice, it would also give them an opportunity to sell more food. Many parks open between 2 and 3 hours early. The Great American Ball Park is very fan friendly and worth visiting. We will definitely return. I give this park a 9 out of 10 on my scale.

Very fun experience even if you're not a Reds fan! Lots of food options, very fun to walk around, and just a fun time over all.

We had a great day at the ball park with the littles on family day! There really is something for everyone — awesome baseball, great food, a fun gift shop and a really cool playground for the kiddos! And who doesn’t love it when the Reds win!
Really enjoyed this hot day out!

This was our 24th ball park visited, really liked the shooting flames from the ferry smoke stacks. We were also impressed with the Cincinnati Symphony Pops orchestra that played during the fireworks show after the game.

The park was really nice. Seats good. People all helpful and friendly. Service was slow at cocessions but great food.

We took the ball park tour that originated in the Hall of Fame, The 90 minute tour went to both dugouts, pressbox, restaurant options, scouting room, and Diamond Club, Because the Reds were in town we did not go into the clubhouses or batting cages. it is special to see the inner working of a beautiful ballpark.

We could not get opening day tickets but got second and third game seats. The place is still amazing even though frischs is gone from the venue, same for Gold Star.

The ballpark is a great ballpark for baseball. The ball flies out of here . Definitely a hitters park. Exciting ball park to watch baseball. Bathrooms are always accessible and clean ( except for the ladies room ) The food selection is very good. Overpriced, but good. Great beer selection. Beer is moderately priced for a professional sports team stadium. There are a lot of great restaurants around the stadium to eat and drink before going in. I would do so. Most bars run game day drink specials. Some bars will even dye there beet red. My biggest issue is with the bottled water . $5? For the exact same purified water bottle Kroger sells for $2.49 for a 24 pack ! Not one. 24. It's not even Aquafina. It's not spring water. It's purified water. Beer is a luxury. Nacho cheese tortillas chips are a luxury. Water is not. Yes they have water fountains which are great. Sitting in a ballpark on a 95 degree day with no breeze you do not want to get up every half inning to goto the water fountain. Taking a family of 4 here is expensive enough. A little help with the bottled water pricing please. Would charging $2 a bottle really shut the place down ? These things really add up after awhile.

We're among the many people working through visiting all the Major league ballparks, and this month we visited the Great American Ballpark.
There is a lot of parking nearby, although if you're looking to park at the ballpark early in the day (more than 3 hours before the game) and walk around without moving your car, the parking doesn't open up very early. It's also not easy to find parking for tall vehicles (over 9 feet) in the area early. There are lots of options right before the game, but not many early. There are great food options - Cheetohs popcorn, Montgomery Inn barbeque, skyline chili dogs, metts brats. The ballpark itself is clean and nice. The area nearby is also fun, with lots of restaurants and bars and a great view and walk near the river. Tickets are not outlandish for major league baseball cap (lower level for $40-50). This park is definitely worth a visit!

It was my first visit to Cincinnati and stopping in for a game is a MUST for any baseball fan. The place was mobbed with fans (now that COVID is officially and hopefully over for good), and buying a ticket at the counter took over 20 minutes. Seat prices ranged from $20 to $300. I took a $30 seat for right field, then made my way to the gift shoppe to spend $50/ea on tshirts (sigh).
In the stadium, I naturally didn't sit at my own seat. In fact, never made it anywhere close to right field, but rather just sat down on the 3B line and nobody bothered me for the entire time (I stayed 6 innings). Place was about 75% full, and tons of Reds fans and across al 4 decks you saw a sea of red shirts of the local team's fan base. Very loud fans, cheering over every other pitch, and even a wave that lasted 4-5 loops around the park.
The technology in this park is ultra modern, high-tech, and extremely high resolution (ie video screens). So vibrant and precise were the colors, I found myself watching that as much as the real game.
Outside the park are many bronze statues of HOF Reds players, brickwork on the ground, a museum, and tons of great photo spots. Inside the stadium, there's much more to do than just watch the game. Got kids? They'd have a ball in the many game-time activities away from the field like wiffle-ball, a batting cage, playgrounds, slides, and lawns, patios, and food galore.
Cincinnati loves their baseball team, and going to a game here is infectious. Definitely give it a look.

Fun to walk around and see the gift shop. We didn’t have tickets and there wasn’t a game going on but we were still able to explore and see some great things!

I have never been to a baseball game in Cincy and let me tell you, they do it right!! Such excitement! Lovely views! I’d definitely go back!

Beautiful stadium. Definitely worth the game. You can bring outside food. Great for a family outing for inexpensive day.

It's always a great day when you go to the Reds game! Perfect seats, the gentlemen come and wipe down your seats, and everyone is so friendly. Loved the Strawberry Banana beer!!

Excellent value for good seats compared to other parks. Concessions were a little steep relative to the cost of the seats. Overall a good time.

I continued my visits to as many ballparks as I can see when I was in town. I was rewarded with a cozy stadium with great views and a great game (though the Reds lost in extra innings).
Parking was easy (got into a garage close by), there were fantastic food options, and I was able to get seats in the shade on a very hot day.
The open concourse means you can walk all around the stadium without losing sight of the field.
Make sure to check out the Reds museum and hall of fame, which connects to the team shop, while there.

My friend and I are traveling to all MLB parks and Cincinnati was our next stop. While we found the museum and surrounding places to eat outstanding, the park was just OK. Nothing special and the food selection was outdated. I expected more variety in food selection other than dogs and chicken strips.

SAG-AFTRA joined in with the Labor Day Union fest at the ball park. It was fun. Met some fellow union members from all over.

Park is easy to get in and out of, lots of close parking sets on the river
Hotels and restaurants close
Next to reds hall of fame
Close to Underground Railroad museum
Close to downtown

Purchased our tickets from a guy selling outside. Had great seats. Game was great. Reds won!! Very exciting.

Located in the city with beautiful views, Great American Ballpark offers a great baseball experience for fans of all ages. Parking was plentiful and more affordable than our home ballpark. We traveled with our Ballpark Stampeders group and had a VIP experience. The Reds have a great hall of fame full of baseball artifacts, video footage, and interactive displays. We also toured the stadium and while it was rainy, we were still able to enjoy the dugout and press box. Stadium security was efficient, offering bag and no bag lines to make the process faster. Concessions were numerous, but on the expensive side. A small dog was $6 at Skyline, while a medium sized slice of pizza was $8. I enjoyed the Goetta fries and while the portion was super generous, they were still $13. The ushers were amazing; it rained on and off the entire day before the game and the usher in our section was sponging off seat of excess water and drying them with a towel. Not a bad seat in the house, we walked around the stadium and could get a great view throughout the stadium. There was an area in the stadium where you could watch the game and charge your phone at a nice charging station; perfect for the phone obsessed younger fans. Great play area for kids offered complete with a playground. Staff all around was friendly and helpful, everyone from customer services to concessions employees. Plenty of shops around the stadium to get team gear including a large, well kept store outside the stadium. Game itself was enjoyable; ok fan atmosphere, but crowd could be larger and louder. The team hasn’t had the best record the past few years and it shows with the fan base. Loved the proximity of the stadium to a nice downtown area with plenty of local restaurants, shops, etc. so you could get a taste of the Cincinnati culture. Fun stop while you’re in the city.

We attended a rain delayed start afternoon game of the Astros vs Reds on Wednesday, June 19, 2019. Our seats were in section 530, row S ( along first base side) in order to be under the overhang so rain or sun would not be an issue. The seats were high but good since there were a few showers. We also had a good view of the river and bridges. The tickets were eligible for purchasing an add on of a$10 food voucher. Bringing in food and bottled water is also an option which we took advantage of. Saw the children’s area, but was full so we didn’t venture down with the grandkids.
There are several fun and statue photo opportunity sites.

Very emotional.
I'm a Met fan but highly respect Reds and Red Sox... Worthy adversaries.
Beautiful park... I never made it to big leagues!

this is a great ballpark and it is ALL American! the outside structure looks like the America station of Epcot and the old rollercoasters at Six Flags over America. Its downtown and just off the river. There is a humungous parking structure ($15) located between this stadium and the football stadium so parking is not really an issue. It also pay homage to the Reds of old. Lots of statues, paintings, and paraphernalia all around the park.

I been like three times....all was a awesome experience to see my Reds. Win or lose you always have fun, eat well, buy some stuff and enjoy walking around the park.

Loved it! Such a fun place, great customer service and lots of extras for the kiddos. Good family ticket pricing options. I will definitely be traveling back to Cincinnati again for another game.

This was our first trip to GABP. We took the riverboat from Newport on the Levee, which dropped us off just outside the stadium. $6.00 for a round trip ticket. The stadium is an outstanding facility, the fans are friendly and we will be back!!

Old time "feel" to this ballpark. Nice and tight and not a lot of wasted space. Good selection of ballpark food to enjoy.

Clean, family friendly atmosphere. Security, ushers and police are very helpful in assisting you locate various areas in the ballpark. Easy to see the field from most any seat, There is a play area for the kids. Across from the stadium is an area called The Banks. Many restaurants with great food at reasonable prices. The ballpark and surrounding area is safe with plenty of parking. You are allowed to take in soft-sided small coolers with food and water or soft drinks. Drinks must be unopened and in plastic containers. No cans. The cost when compared to other professional baseball teams seems to be on the low end. Don’t forget to visit the Reds Hall of Fame. Located on-site and is outstanding. You can read details about GABP on their website. Play ball and enjoy the game!

Wonderful Ball Park and set-up nicely for the best concert!!
Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Poison, and Joan Jett Rocked Out!!

If you are a baseball lover as I am, you will enjoy this visit very much.
From the history of one of the oldest and greatest baseball team of all times- through out the times of segregated baseball- But mostly the achievements of 8 players known as the great eighth champions of the 1975 and 76 world series. See all the memorabilia and history of Johny Bench, Pete Rose....etc
Visit the hall of fame and see it yourself.

Easy to get in & out. Went 3 times with riding TANK from Covington, KY & parking in garage below Underground Railroad Museum. Has team store in front & one on third base side. Lots of food options & can walk all way around stadium.

We have seen several ball parks around the country. This was our sons pick while traveling in the area. He collects the mini bats from every ball park that we visit and wanted to add another to his collection.
The ball park itself is amazing. It has a very cool feel with the almost mall like layout. It also has a lot of space, for as many people that were around it didn't seem super crowded. They do have a really neat fan zone with a band and kid activities.
Overall it was a fun experience and another ball park crossed off the list.

Nice ball park great game me and my son had a good time I was very thirsty if I am going to pay $7.00 for a drink it not going to be diet coke could not find a diet dew anywhere

We were fortunate enough to be given tickets to the Cardinals game on the Club level. I had never been to that part of the park before. It is definitely the way to go. All free delicious food and soft drinks. Alcohol is not. You can go back many times for food. And the choices of food is great and delicious. The seats outside are cushioned. It almost seems cheaper to do it this way. The atmosphere is fun with TVS everywhere. The bathrooms are even a step above.

Great American is a beautiful ballpark. The sightlines are very nice, we sat in several different sections on different levels. Sitting next to the steamboat was a little obstructing of the view and the blasts of fire....are very warm.....in August. There are several places to sit, chat, eat and drink around the concourse too. They have at least 2 restaurant style ventures inside the ballpark loaded with TVs for sit-down dining and air conditioning. There is the typical fried foods and hot dogs, burgers, pretzels etc all over the park. We had difficulty finding any remotely healthy to eat. The information desk suggested only 1 vendor. We found it hard to eat hot, greasy food on a hot day. There was only 1 Graeter's ice cream inside that we could find. The line was +20 minutes, the ice cream was good but the servers had issues with orders, they looked overworked by the 6th inning. Invest in another location inside the ballpark or signage to the other locations, if the exist. Cincinnati Reds did a nice job of keeping us interested between innings, the video boards, scoreboards, and signage are very nice, but not overwhelming. We really liked the sitting areas next to the concourse down the first base line, plenty of tables and seats, areas to entertain the kids and adults. There main entry includes a nice parkway between the gates and home plate seating area. Very well done with the entertainment here too, the statues of players, the views of the park. The ballpark is really nicely laid out, just improve the food options. The "ballpark app" map does not help with mapping of the food vendors and signage inside the park was limited. We did like the park, just a couple upgrades and it could be a really 'Great American' ballpark.

We arrived late and bought our tickets at the ticket office which is located at the front entrance of the stadium so there was quite a bit of walking involved. I had injured my knee and had a brace on it so the extra steps didn't help. I was offered to have someone push me in a wheelchair if I wanted but I didn't think I was that bad off. The Great American Ball Park is a beautiful, modern baseball stadium with plenty of shops and booths offering everything you would expect at a major league baseball stadium. We had decent seats near the third base outfield foul ball pole. The atmosphere was fun and very family oriented with fans for both teams there. We would ago again.

I went to three games here; two at night & the lights were functioning. What I would have preferred when needed was being informed about certain situations during a game that occurred, but I could only guess it. One of the games included a bench-clearing altercation when all the players & coaches from both teams were mulling around on the field, seemingly at odds. Leave it that at least one of the managers was tossed-out of the game, as were several players between the two teams. Up in the stands, I was wondering what the results of all this extra action was. All the teams staff + the umpires were all congregated together. I wanted to know which players were tossed-out of the game. The stadium has a big, clear message board as well as a very loud sound system, so they had the means to either post a message as to what was going on or make an announcement - they did neither. The game just proceeded after the umpires restored order as though nothing out-of-the-ordinary had occurred that affected the game.
Otherwise, the stadium is new, nice & clean. The staff are friendly. Like all major league sports venues, snacks are very pricey. As noted, the replay screen is large & clear and the PA system is loud & clear. Ticket prices seemed a much better value than the snacks. Parking was convenient, either a few garages associated with the stadium or at the many other garages & lots in the downtown business district. Between innings are many of the same games & entertainment at most MLB venues I've been to. There's a very good WiFi system there that does not require any agreements to use. Over the course of three games, it never dis-connected. I could have used more leg room up in my seat, but that's typical up in the cheap seats.
On balance, a good experience, except for the information black-out.

If we're passing through a big-league city when a game is going on, we always try to stop and check it out. We had never seen a game at Great American Ballpark and when our trip took us through Cincinnati, we decided it was time to take in a game.
The ballpark is another in a series of great new venues, replacing another in a series of multi-purpose, cookie-cutter stadiums. Our seats in the mezzanine section (400 level) were great for only $37. We loved walking around the lower deck and checking out the food and drink options, which were plentiful.
And the crowd, not particularly large because of inclement weather in the area, was happy to see the Reds blitz the artists formerly known as the Chicago Cubs.
If you're baseball fan, definitely take in this fine setting.

I'm a baseball fan, so I enjoy going to a couple Reds games every year. The ball park has great features outside, a number of statues of Reds greats, and each seat gives you a good view of the game. There are a huge number of food choices, too.

I was born and raised fifteen minutes from this park,...well. Riverfront stadium where the Big Red Machine raised hell in my childhood. It was a cornerstone of the city when I was growing up. I'm in town and my brothers and their families are going to a game at the "new stadium." I'm worried. I'm nervous. How could this new structure take the place of what I thought of as Cincinnati Reds Central?
Well, there are so many restaurants within the grounds, the sound system knocked me off my feet and the field and seating area were so well kept. We didn't have a lot of extra time before the game so I'm sure there were lots of things to see, but get this...they serve Skyline in the stadium!
This Cincinnatian living in Florida will come to see the Reds in their "new" home and hang onto the memory of Riverfront. There's something better now!

Great place to watch a game. Was in 500 sections but still a great view. Everything reasonably priced considering it is a MLB stadium. My son and I were only two people in our section for long time - hardly anyone was there and a good chunk were Cardinals fans like me making the trip. Support your team Reds fans - you have a new, clean, and safe stadium to watch game.

Great ballpark to see a game. We did a tour earlier in the day so we got the lay of the land. The Reds Hall of Fame is very well done and has tons of cool artifacts and displays. The ball park is well laid out and our seats were great and very reasonable priced. Because of the tour we also bought a ticket to The Handlebar Club which as really fun and a great view of the field on the front and also of the Ohio River area on the back side. I'd have to say it was one of the best of the 21 ballparks we have been to so far. Ballpark staff were also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Nice walk around the stadium and park. There's a children's playground with water sprays for the children: slides, water play ground during the summer.

Nice park. We’ve seen a few stadiums and this one would be in the top 10. Nice food options. Nice drink options.

Allow yourself time to enjoy both inside and outside of the park. The Reds Hall of Fame was well worth the price!

Visting and went to a baseball game. Stadium has large concourses so you weren't bumping into people as you walked. Food was good, especially the ice cream behind home plate. Nice views when you walked around the stadium.

It was an amazing experience because of how good the game was. Elly De La Cruz hit for the cycle and Joey Votto hit two home runs. The food was good too and I got to hit out of the batting cage. All around it was an amazing experience and very glad I went.

First time at the Diamond Club and wow! Great buffett, staff and bar! Everything was included! Highly recommend spending the extra for this!

We took a tour here as part of the Riverside Food and top 10 tours. I highly recommend this tour. You get a nice overview of the ball park, history, plus food from the local area.

Nice ballpark, great sightlines, tickets are reasonable. Lots of between innings on field activities. Easy to get to underground parking. We only drove because of the inclement weather. Plenty of bars outside as well, for pre game festivities. We were visiting from NC, our daughters house is close enough to walk there as well. The Reds won. Reasonable beer prices, I'm used to NYC (Yankees) MSG prices. One last note, If you are not watching your diet, the All- Beef grilled Hot Dog is one of the best I've ever had at a ballpark, hot off the grill, with peppers and onions, great taste, nice crunch and a nice woman taking your order. My second time there and I will go back. I'm an American league fan, as well.

We were in town for a convention and the hubs wanted to take in a game. We signed our two oldest kids up for their kids club and I was impressed with what all they had for them and how interactive it was. I am not a baseball fan but our time here was great for the family.

We were in town to catch the Brewers vs Reds games. Love the location of the ball park, right downtown yet easy to get on/off the freeway if you're not staying close by.
Extremely impressed with the parking structure being attached to the stadium. As a Brewers fan, we have large parking lots so the convenience of a parking structure attached blew our minds. Parking wasn't terribly priced either and there were plenty of available spots.
Like others have mentioned, every seat in this stadium is great! The views are amazing, the coziness is wonderful and the organ music takes me back to my childhood.
There are so many food options including local vendors. We were impressed with the number of options. Prices were reasonable by ball park standards.

This was part of a baseball road trip, so we were out-of-towners. Parking was easy and cheap, always good. Walk to stadium was pretty short. Really nice ballpark with lots of room on the concourse level for people to move around without being blocked by food lines. Pretty good variety of food. Great pizza. Their SPO (sausage, pepper and onion) was among the best in MLB. There was also a good chili cheese dog (Cincinnati, not Texas, chili!), local ice cream (black raspberry chip was excellent). Easy to get souvenir cups. Big outdoor areas with extra things to do when the kiddies get bored. The steamboat in the outfield is pretty cool, and we just happened to be there on fireworks night, which was better than most towns' July 4th display. Outside statue areas are pretty cool too.

Was at Cincinnati Reds vs St Louis beautiful Ball park great staff
Nice choices in concessions with cold drinks

This is a great ballpark, where all the seats appear to be good. There are plenty of spots for great pictures near the entrances and the process of entering the park is well-planned. Good (not great) food options are available including ice cream. They offer fireworks on some Fridays after the game. Tons of fun.

Ok, it is the only MLB ball park in Cincinatti but it is still the best in the city.
Catching a game here is a must while in town. Red’s have a lot of history.
Fun night out that is reasonably priced. Several places to stay and eat right near they stadium.
Nice stadium with great views.

Not a huge baseball fan, but I enjoy attending games every so often. I'm usually in the "nose bleed" section because that's all I can afford. If the games weren't during the hottest time of the year, I would probably go more often. I haven't purchsed any refreshments because they are too expensive, but I thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere.

Thursday afternoon baseball game to see the Reds. Comfortable stadium with tasty pizza and helpful staff.

This is definitely an experience you need to have in Cincinnati! The cincinatti reds are huge here and going to the game was really cool. I’m not even a baseball fan real, but going and having the experience was awesome! Huge stadium! Got all decked out for the game haha. Def worth a visit!

The word GREAT fits this ballpark perfectly. We have been to at least 8 other ballparks and Cincinnati is by far the best when it comes down to a complete game day experience. The seating is more comfortable compared to other squishy ballparks and there is a perfect view from anywhere in the park. They have the best Club Level experience of all the ballparks we have been to.

It was our first time watching a baseball game, The stadium is magnificent, the organization is perfect, It's something to do !!

Went here with my dad for the September 21st game against the Cubs. Overall, an awesome ballpark! Drove in from West Virginia (trying to go to all the MLB stadiums on the bucket list, this one was pretty awesome except the lack of direction leaving the Reds Museum) My only complaint is that there is a "Karen" security guard who was extremely rude and should not even work there if she is going to be that nasty. Did not get her name but I do know she was short and had glasses on. She completely lacked empathy or care. I walked out of the Reds Hof & museum, and she was standing by the door. My dad was sitting on one of the benches about 10 ft away as he did not want to go to the museum and told me to just go and enjoy. She became extremely rude and told me to speak to another security guard who was nearby "I said, "my dad is over there sitting down" and even pointed him out to her. This being my first time here apparently the reentry to the stadium is close by as well and I was not intending to reenter the stadium at all just to walk over to my dad. and exit the stadium. The other security guard I spoke to was just as rude and said I cannot let you go back and that's firm. I said sir, I am just trying to get to my dad. The least they could have done was personally walk over with me. Their manager should have a talk with them on how to treat people. The three stars is for the rude security members. Otherwise, would have been a 5.

We visited with my father on a walker in the rain. Before we even bought our tickets the gate attendant had brought him in and out of the rain. Once we all got in they escorted him to our section where an attendant who obviously loves his job spent the game telling us faun facts and even helped us get the kids a "My First Ballgame" certificate. Add the playground and the ease of the parking garage and you have a wonderful family experience!
Now if we could just get those concession prices to be a bit more reasonable ...

Angels vs Reds. Nice facility. Friendly staff. Every seat was a good seat. Able to see the action. Was very nice to bring a sealed water bottle.

Took the family to the ballpark. It was a very good day. The Reds and the park do an awesome job of giving a great show and creating a family safe atmosphere. Highly recommend

I don't know how they did it but the Great American Ball Park has an intimate feel to it despite it's large size. We had amazing seats that included an all you can eat buffet. We loved the community feel - recognition of local people from the military, an incoming college president, tons of family friendly activities between innings, amazing fireworks after the game. We took my sister here and this night was one of the highlights of her trip.

While I was in Cincinnati the Reds were playing so we had to go. I found tickets on stub hub for $10 less that the stadium price online. They had a lot of different food and from options. Our seats were great. Unfortunately they lost but it was fun. The bathrooms are huge. That's a plus.

This was my first "away" game and I was nervous about entering another team's territory. All I expected was in contrast to my experience. The staff was so nice and welcoming. There was a variety of places to eat, drink and snack. Parking was very affordable (around $20) to be about a 5 minute walk from the park, and the GUEST ACCOMMODATIONS stations offer lots of cool incentives (from certificates to celebrate milestones, upgrades, stroller check-in, and free soft drinks to pledge not to drink and drive). My team lost, but I would definitely feel comfortable bringing my family for a ball game getaway!

The nursing suites at this ballpark are a lifesaver! They had everything moms need to make their ballpark experience enjoyable for themselves and their babies. I cannot say enough about the facilities and staff!

Visiting family in Indian we drove down to Cincinnati to catch the Reds game vs the Pirates and were so glad we did.
Parking and traffic on game day is tricky but comparable to UK football matches around stadiums probably fair.
The ground itself is impressive and we purchased tickets ($14 each) that actually had great views. The game lasted about 2.5 hours which was great for the kids and we did have some shade which helped the younger ones.
Food and drink is a bit pricey but again, comparable to any top level sporting event so no real complaints. We visited the club shop and got some souvenirs and all in all, a great classic American experience to tick of the “bucket list” as they say.
Lovely family friendly atmosphere in a great location that locals seem to underrate.

You get an official certificate for your first time to the park. I thought that was awesome.
Then after hitting eleven runs, your ticket gets you a personal-sized pizza good for a month.
Big clean, beautiful park, I recommend seeing a game when in town.
The food was pricey, and so eat before and after the game outside of the park. Don’t park the car in the ballpark either. Heard that was pricy too.
All in all, good clean family fun.
Enjoy!

Even though the park was closed due to COVID-19 it was very interesting to walk around the outside of the stadium and look at the Statues and plaques displayed around the outside perimeter

Stadium was located in a very clean and safe part of town. As this was my first time to stadium, I took in all the "stuff" going o .in and around the park. They have a great kid's experience where they get ot hit wiffle balls. Good family setting.
Another small thing I noticed, the stadium seats are actually slighltly angled to provide a better view.

Very fan friendly with plenty of food options with a walk long path around the entire field. A huge upgrade from the old riverfront stadium!

I planned this trip for my husband's big 60th birthday. We had a great time. Our Cubbies were playing the Reds and we had never been to this ball park. It is a great ball park. Just the right size and great seats.

I always enjoy coming to games at GABP! Haven't had a bad seat in the house. They have a lot of food choices to eat. Not just the basic hot dogs and nachos you usually think of. Would highly recommend catching a game here. It's a pretty view, especially when the sun is out. Check it out! You won't be disappointed in this ballpark.

We arrived when the gates opened, yet the gate we went to had really long lines and a long wait to get through security. The ballpark is very nice. We enjoyed the food options there; I had a Nathans hot dog and he had a bratwurst. I like that the designated driver perk gave TWO sodas (most ballparks give one) and that it was a one-stop shop in that they gave you the drink right then and there (most ballparks give you a voucher to grab the soda at a vendor stand where you have to wait in another line).

My husband is a Dodgers fan, I grew up in Richmond, Indiana during the Reds dominant era of the 1970s. We wore Dodgers Blue and a vintage Reds Caps to honor the lifelong love of the Reds. We felt welcomed by everyone and enjoyed a fabulous game.

We were there the middle of August to watch them play the Cards. Been there many times. Great place to watch a ballgame. Reds lost as they gave up 10 runs in the 6th inning. Will go back

We attended a game at this ballpark in July. It was a hot day, it is summer after all, and there were LOTS of folks going out for the game. It was a Friday night...however, the city has a good plan in place for traffic going in and out of the city and their plan works rather well. Parking can be an issue if not planned for in advance as well as getting tickets. Fortunately, we had made reservations at a nearby hotel for the night and valet was available, so that helped with the parking and the "people" congestion.
There are numerous food venues in the park itself with all manner of food selections besides the iconic hot dog. There are also many restaurants in the ballpark vicinity should one choose to eat and inbibe prior to the game. Arriving at the ballpark gates for admittance can be somewhat claustrophobic with all the bodies, however, people were moving in a good pace. The park has set up the obligatory check points for bags, etc as well as ticket scanning appropriate to handle the masses. It was our experience that every employee at the park has attendees needs firmly as a first priority...this was unexpected and very nice. There was always someone to assist with seat locations, restroom directions and general info that made our visit that much more enjoyable.
While we did not have children attending with us there were some very interesting diversion for smaller patrons...a mini ballfield to actually play baseball, green areas for running and playing, pregame band playing and seating; as well as many other activities throughout the game for fidgety folks and commercial breaks. Did we mention the Friday night fireworks? Spectacular describes it and was an added bonus to our park visit. Lastly, there is the most important part of the visit...fan behavior and the like. Kudos to the folks of Cincinnati, your friendliness, helpfulness and kindness were a credit to all and we certainly appreciated it. Cannot wait to return and see another game!

Absolutely one of our favorite ball parks. Great atmosphere and service from vendors. Beautiful field and to top it off the Reds won!

We took my 3 boys to see our beloved Atlanta Braves play the Reds while in town. Everyone here from the staff to the Reds fans were nothing but nice and helpful to us! We sat in the affordable eating section and had the best time. It was our 1st ever professional baseball game and we were made to feel at home! Our Braves won that day, but your Reds fans were still nice to us! Staff gave my boys a certificate for their 1st game and a security guard gave them a baseball to play with while we were waiting to enter the stadium since we had gotten there so early due to not knowing anything about the area!

All your favorites of the great American pastime, rolled into one. Classice ballpark food and beverages, decent ticket prices and friendly ushers, right in downtown Cincy.
My only real complaint is that they are 100% credit card only, no cash accepted. But I didn't see any signage indicating this!
They should put up Prominent signs to inform people of this! But no, they don't do that.

Great American Ball Park is a throwback park reminiscent of to the Reds Crosley Field built in 1912. Like Crosley which allowed fans to be closer to the field, it has a more tradition feel with modern amenities. Tremendous food selection, multiple restaurants and areas for private functions. My company has hosted numerous outings there and the response has always been positive.

My wife and I went yesterday and had a great time. Very nice and beautiful ball park. Only complaint is that the food and drink prices are sky high almost to the point of scalping you. I understand though thatall ballparks are this way and you have just got to expect this.

Following the Cardinals religiously since Pete Rose's rookie year of 1963, I had so much fun exchanging barbs with guide Larry Cochran just 2 days after Rose's 81st birthday. The Reds have always been my 2nd favorite team. Larry's knowledge of the Reds, the stadium itself and all its amenities is top-notch. Well...other than him not knowing that Cesar Geronimo was Bob Gibson's 3000th strikeout victim. But that would not be something he would remember. But all kidding aside, we loved the tour and him. It was also extra special to e able to sit in the press box. After all, I DID have one of my 3965 paid published articles in the Cincinnati Enquirer, a travel story entitled "Arch Madness" about the U.S. Olympic Festival. I also did an article about three-time Cincinnati gold medalist archer Darrell Pace for another publication..

Great food and helpful people. I had a lot of restaurants around ball park and great food inside.
Loved the atmosphere and right across from the river so it always had a cool breeze. The ball park was very clean just like the city

I love this ballpark! The staff is always so friendly and helpful. There really isn’t many bad seats. My only advice is buy your tickets at the ballpark instead of secondary sites. They have many promotions. $3🍺 and $2 hot dogs for the first game I attended and half price tickets for seniors the next day. Even the Refs fans were nice even though I was rooting forthright Twins! Great time! Easy to get to on the shuttle!

The park is lovely-wonderful views of everything . It was easy to get around. The staff was helpful.

The stadium is awesome, even when we have behind us a couple very drunk saying all kind of nasty things we have fun. We travel from Florida for 3 days to see the game and the town. The stadium have everything inside, very clean, a lot of security and friendly staff.

This is a really terrible place to watch a game. So many areas are cordoned off for special events we couldn’t even see the field from our ‘club’ section. Definitely not something I recommend.

Have always found this stadium very easy to get in and out of as well as to get around in. Nice ballpark !! Just wish the concessions were not so expensive. $5.00 for a bottle of water is WAY excesive!! Other food items are just as overpriced. Making a profit is great, but not when you are being greedy !!!

The staff are very friendly, the food and drink options are plentiful, and the seat options are quite diverse as well.If you want to spend a lot or a little, this is the place where you can do it while taking in a ballgame. Fun times!

While access to the ball park was easy and I loved seeing the Reds (and they are a bit hard to love this year). Our seats were great but the game experience in the stadium was way over produced from my stand point to the extent of being off putting. No longer is the simple organ music and charge cheer but rather sound affects with the volume of a rock concert which really annoyed me. My ears hurt after 9 innings. It took the fun out of baseball. I'm not sure I'll return.

The Great American Ball Park is an enjoyable place to catch a game. Like most newer parks it offers solid amenities, but doesn't have the history or soul of someplace like Fenway Park or Wrigley Field. The Handlebar suite was fun.

What a great facility with a wonderful location downtown along the river. Great pregame activities in the Reds fan zone. Great giveaway for the game we attended. Plenty of varying food choices and love the brewery district. Set in lower left field and was great to watch the game. Ample parking with various prices all within a good walking distance. A lot of history displayed at the park.

The park is a perfect jewel box and the fans are precious gems. The staff and food vendors were all helpful, polite, knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend the park for everyone, not just Refs fans (although we are huge Redlegs fans)

What a beautiful stadium! Easy access into and exiting the game. Staff was friendly. Seats were comfy! Good variety of food! You will not be disappointed in your visit here, even if your team loses! Definitely check this stadium off your list!

So much here that adds to an already wonderful Reds baseball game...pre-game fun for kids and adults, fountains & park-like points of interest along the riverbank, bridges, restaurants...much to do here!

The stadium experience is a 10 as many have reviewed. Another opinion as spouse of a super fan. Do not come to a day game in the summer! Blazing hot and little reprieve. The stadium does their beat with fans and such but seats are brutal! Helps if have access to vip lounge which has ac but no view. Can watch the televisions to view. Please consider evening games only or cool day. Do not make my mistake. Good luck!

Left our trip to Cincinnati to see the Reds play the St Louis Cardinals.
Great flow of traffic into the park.
$20 garage parking nearby.
Tickets as cheap as 16 bucks.
Love the activities between innings.
Great game.
Happy accident we happen to be there on fireworks Friday night.

We visited for a night game. The stadium is modern and has about everything you could want. We sat in 417 which is high up but has great views. We parked at the east garage which lets u walk from the garage directly to the stadium without going to the street. It’s a great family environment. Also the game was really good and the fans were really into it.

First time visiting the ballpark. Great seating options, especially with 2 giant scoreboards. Concessions plentiful and staff works really hard to ensure a great experience.

We recently visited the Great American Ball Park for a baseball game while passing through Cincinnati on our summer vacation. The ballpark is nice--plenty of bathrooms and concession stands. The view of the Ohio River in the background is a nice bonus. I will go to a game here again if in Cincinnati during the season.

Tremendously impressed by the ballpark. As Cub fans and accustomed to the "vintage" Wrigley Field, we appreciated the upgrades, amenities of the park, food choices, Hall of Fame and beautiful location. Went on a tour of the park too which provided a behind-the-scenes view of private suites. A beautiful ballpark.

Even though it was 95degrees, we were able to get seats in the shade. I don’t know how some of the elderly can stay out in the heat. It’s a ballgame, prices of water, soda and food is very expensive. Eat before you go

We had a great time. I brought a soft side cooler with bottled water and we stayed for the entire game. Friends bought food that was hot and as requested. Husband had several beers from the beer sales people who were all polite and courteous. Love the fan friendly environment.

Took a tour of the stadium on a non game day. Kelly was the tour kind who did a great job with her enthusiasm and energy. Tour was very interesting, glad we did it.

This new yet historic park has great views from where ever you sit. A bonus is the baseball museum that is worth the visit by any baseball fan. The surrounding area has great hotels, restaurants and is very walkable.

Yesterday put a period on the sentence for me with this team. I have attended a game here every year starting in 1956. What occurred yesterday finished me as a Reds fan. We had decided to pay the $105 per ticket to sit in the Handlebar room where food and drink are non-stop. I asked the ticket agent at the window if we could get aisle seats and she said yes. Once we got there, we found out that there we NO seats and just general admission to the Handlebar room. Therefore, we had to watch the game on a gigantic widescreen TV. I could have done that at home for a lot less money. I past years this room had assigned seats for purchasers outside the glass door. Not any more as they have turned this area into a night club looking set up with swivel chairs, etc. There was an over eager usher who would jump on anyone attempting to sit in an unoccupied seat. The room was ice cold leaving folks there to have to go stand behind these sold out seats that no one was sitting in anyway. If the Reds were going to do this set up, they should make it abundantly clear that you have NO seat to see the game unless you can figure out how to buy these seats. They are obviously not caring in the least about fans, and were totally unimpressed that I had a 66-year streak of going to games there, minus the COVID year of course. I will not be back and will now root against this team.

We decided on a Saturday morning to get tickets for that evening's game between the Reds and the Chicago Cubs. Picking our tickets up at will call was a breeze. Security at the entrance was thorough but efficient - no big delays. All the people working at the park that we interacted with were pleasant and courteous.
The $20 food package my wife bought was a good value; 5 hot dogs and endless soda, chips, peanuts and popcorn.
The park itself is beautiful and well laid-out. A live band was playing before the game, and there's lots of interactive things for the kids.
The game was very exciting (not so much for the Cubs fans) and the Reds hit 6 home runs, much to the delight of the hometown fans.

Wonderful Ball Park. The cleanest restrooms ever at a large venue. The food selection is amazing. Proper seat selection is the trick. Don’t be afraid to spend a little more on better seats!

Nice ballpark, with great sightlines. There doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. Access into and out of is quick and easy. Food and beverage options are like most ballparks and equally expensive. Great location, with many dining and drinking locations within walking distance for your pregame or postgame enjoyment.

As a lifelong Reds fan I love the History and tradition instilled in the ballpark even though it’s relatively new. We had the opportunity to sit in the club seating. We were thoroughly impressed with the facilities. Plenty of free food in a air-conditioned setting with plenty of tables and room for everyone. We had great seats behind home plate in the Club deck and we will try to get them again it would go back.
I would highly recommend taking your family to see your Reds game you won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful park, nice views and great eating choices, but as for giving fans comfortable experience this park falls short of keeping fans cool. After being in 3 fan shops with AC turned off, no fans in the concourses or fans at the entrance points of seating /concourse to move air, in which I've seen at other parks. There was no air movement and the heat for the restaurants wasn't moving. Fans were trying to get relief by standing at gate entrance points where there was a little air movement. All I'm saying , if your charging 5,6,7 and 8 dollars for bottled water, at the bare minimum install some fans for heat relief and have some rooms where fans can get relief by AC.

Great park, the museum is a must see. Plenty of stands, tons of options. Workers are pleasant and the lines all move well.

Beautiful stadium. The Cincinnati Reds are great hosts. Even on an extremely hot day in full sun it was worth going.

My friend and I had passed the ballpark when it was empty, so we wanted to go back when it was busy/full with a crowd actually watching a game. It does have a lively atmosphere when a game is happening. The area as you approach is well-maintained and you can walk around the statues and plaza area without having a ticket.

We had a great first game experience. The stadium is nice with helpful staff and welcoming fan recognition.

Kudos to the Castellini family. While I may have my issues w/ the team performance and decision making at times, I cannot criticize the fan experience. Food is top notch--Skyline Chili coneys and Graeter's ice cream cannot be missed. Excellent beer selection. Plenty for kids--activities beyond the game. Wonderful history w/ Hall of Fame and statues outside stadium. Very clean and easy to navigate. Now, if the Reds could win more--at least I recently witnessed two wins. :-)

Went to my first MLB game here. Clean city and stadium. Helpful staff and strangers. Family atmosphere. Great view and beautiful stadium and river.

Taking in a game(the Reds vs the Astros) here with the family. Its a great park to watch a baseball game. The stadium is just off the Ohio River.

I am visiting all MLB parks and this was the 18th on my quest. The Great American Ball Park is very nice, clean and the fans were very friendly. I was siting in the 100 level seats and there was a lot of fun fan involvement with prizes.

This was one of our favorite ballparks in the Midwest. We sat up in the upper levels on the first base side to avoid the sun, and the view was fantastic!!! We could see the river from our seats, and even though we were higher, you could still see the game, no problem. The ballpark has good food as well. There were many choices around the stadium. We opted for a regular hot dog, and they were really good. The outside of the park had some great statues of former players and a pitching mound that was fun to take pictures in front of. The team store was one of the best we had ever seen. I would definitely recommend a visit to this stadium.

This was a return trip to the park to make that I have visited all the ball parks when the Tigers played there. The time before I went to the old ball park right after Pete Rose was banned and they did not play the Tigers. So I had to return to finish my tour of all the ball parks when the Tigers play! Since it was a weekend game, long lines to get in, but they opened a bit early and it did not take long to get in. All food is by credit card like most of the others. Food prices were not that bad til I bought a Coke for$7. Something that I have been seeing more is that they do not offer field/seats sales of food or bev. And the TIgers finally won a game!!!!!!!!! On the screen they had a kid doing games with people. For his age he did a GREAT job!!!!!!

Went to watch a couple of games in September, had cheap air fare and wanted to cross off another ball park off my list. Purchased EXPENSIVE tickets online by the visiting dugout, which ended up being disappointing because of ushers allowed kids to run down and disrupt fans THAT PAID FOR EXPENSIVE TICKETS to bother the visiting team wanting a ball, autograph or souvenir. The players threw the baseballs over the net falling FAR back in the stands (not first few rows) about 20 rows back. Ushers just stood there and did nothing, end of season must not have care or got bribed (tip) from parents letting their uncontrollable kids run anywhere. Left to concession stand had people sitting in my seats, had to ask them to move and got the look and attitude they felt a ticket means “open seating.”
Don’t bother buying the inclusive food ticket, that stand is behind right field and the hot dogs were kid size.
Nice beautiful stadium, enjoyed the games except for uncontrollable kids, would not recommend spending BIG money to sit in prime seating since the facility is poorly ushered (when I was there late season September), might be different other times don’t know.

My husband and I went to Cubs/Reds game. The ballpark was very nice. Easy, inexpensive parking nearby. The area around the ballpark is nice and there are a lot of options for food.

We have always found GABP to be a great afternoon or evening out. Although the game is not always memorable, there are activities and food options for all. We have always been served well no matter where the seat may be... and every seat has a view of the field. Nothing but good experiences here!

We were in town for work and stopped in the enjoy the game and the ballpark. We bought the Club Seat tickets that included all you could eat.
First off the air conditioning in August was a very welcome addition to the game, we were in the shade the entire time, and the game was a lot of fun. The ballpark itself was very clean and the people working there were always friendly.
The food was varied and good. The dipped ice cream was just right for a very hot day.
If I were in town again during baseball season I would come back and I would pick club seats again.

I expected to pay a premium for tickets in the lower section near 3rd base and for parking, but i didn’t expect to pay $125 in service charges. That’s just ridiculous!!
Plus, the food prices at the stadium are outrageous. A big red Smokey, a pretzel, and a large drink, over $29. That’s obscene. Everything else was wonderful, but probably won’t go again and that’s too bad.

My son has always enjoyed anything to do with baseball this was a wonderful experience for us as.a family since he is graduating this year and going into college when he was younger we took him and five friends to see minor league baseball we had a friend Who. I knew from school married a player the man took photos with the kids and gave him an autograph ball all out on the field after the game . This trip to a professional baseball stadium gave me even more cool dad points

This place was great! I sat in right field which are really good seats. Most home runs go there. I didn"t catch a home run but the person two seats away from me did.

We really enjoyed coming to a game on a Friday night! The drone show and fireworks were fantastic (we are not firework people). The overall layout was easy to navigate and really clean. Getting to the upper deck was easy. It was also very smooth getting into the venue.

What an impressive ballpark. Super clean and we felt safe in the area. Restaurants are plenty near by so you can grab a bite before the game or after. Baseball fans will want to check this place out for sure!

My family and I have visited Great American Ballpark countless times over the years, and it’s always a great experience. Until visiting a number of other ballparks recently, I never realized what a gem Cincinnati has. The ballpark is clean, in great shape and has amazing views of the river. Tons of food choices and souvenir shops. A great area for kids to play and run around. My only complaint is the realization that the Reds tickets are also significantly higher than other ballparks.

We are Pittsburgh Pirates fans, so Cincinnati is closer for us to catch a game. The park is nice and well kept. Restrooms are plentiful and kept clean. My only complaint is the lack of variety of food. It's fine to have the basics...hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, and nachos... and those are all good. However, at other ball parks you get some local food fare.. like great kielbasa in Pittsburgh. You can't get the famous Cincinnati chili at the ball park.. except on a hot dog...not really the same. If they had it, we couldn't find it. We were just surprised they didn't have some speciality foods reflective of local culture. Still, we enjoy the park. Parking is easy and staff are friendly.

The Reds HOF offers a batting practice experience before the game. Purchase tickets online in advance. Make sure you bring your glove and a pen. They let you watch BP from right field so plenty of chances to catch baseballs hit into the stands. Towards the end of the experience they allow access to the first base side of the stands. If you have young kids they can stand down by the net and see if they can snag an autograph as players finish warming up.
Stadium overall is very nice. Lots of local food options including Big Boys and Skyline Chili. The beer options are a little limited and I didn’t see any vendors selling cotton candy.

As part of our Labor Day weekend trek to Ohio, we specifically attended the Phillies-Reds game on Labor Day afternoon at Great American Ball Park. What a delightful place to attend a game. First, parking was relatively easy (we did get there fairly early to see the Reds HOF next door) and reasonable priced in the Riverfront Garage ($ 15). A short walk later we arrived at the Hall of Fame, enjoyed its features, then entered the ball park.
We sat downstairs, and food was easily accessible at the spacious right-field-side food court plaza, which worked great for us (sorry, we did not have a coney). The ballpark has very few shaded seating areas, but we managed to sit in one.....worked great in Section 127. They could have had more ice cream stands operating on a warm afternoon, but we managed to get soft-serve, and my wife's Phillies won, much to her delight! We did not stay for the post-game concert, but leaving the parking garage was NO problem.
Overall, an excellent experienced (especially compared to our wretched experience at Marlins Park in Miami earlier this summer)! Glad we took the time (and the additional driving down from Columbus) to take in a game!

The tour takes around 1-2 hours and our guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. We taken onto the field, into the media areas and both locker rooms. Even if you're not a baseball fan, the ballpark is worth a visit.

Better than the average ball park across the board. No bad seats in the house and ample options for food and drink. Go for all u can eat if you have kids and are happy with simple food and drink. Will def see another gane here in future!

We attended a Reds ball game year on a warm, but pleasant, night. Seat prices are relatively modest compared to many big league baseball stadiums, There is a wide selection of food choices and I found the vendors to be polite and helpful. I cannot comment on the parking because we walked across the suspension bridge from Covington (highly recommended as a way to get to the stadium). All in all a fun night with fireworks every Fridsy night after a Reds game. Oh, the Reds lost the game...

Amazing ballpark! Nice big shop, play zone and concession stands are all over! I was amazed of how nice the staff were! Really nice view! GO REDS!!!!

Visited the GABP to see a weekend series between Nationals vs Reds - being a DC Nats fan. I used the Friday night game to get familiar with the ballpark and its amenities focusing on the best views and food/beer locations. Once I was familiar with the ballpark and knowing where I needed to go, I sat back or stand on occasions and just enjoyed the game and atmosphere. Friday night was cool with the post game fireworks. I was surprised on how long the fireworks show lasted, they did a good job. On Saturday, I got there early and went to the Reds Hall of Fame and then wondering around. They had a local band playing to help kill some time. There are several local brew and micro-brew stands throughout the ballpark instead of the typical Bud and Bud Light - getting to know the locations on Friday helped.
The only complaint I had for each game was the lack of baseball edict by the fans and lack of enforcement from the ushers. What I mean is - during play, fans will come and go as they please, blocking views and a couple of times stoping and then engaging in a conversation with someone else they know. At other ballparks, the Ushers will stop fans from getting to their seats while action is in play and will tell people to move if they are blocking views. But all 3 days and in different sections this was never the case.

Family had a great time. Parking was close and affordable. There is a lot of nice activities to catch before and after the game in the surrounding area.

Well the two hour rain delayed didn't help not enough seats in the clubhouse to sit down everyone was inside due to the rain.
Servers very nice and friendly

Love the hometown Reds and GABP, great place to see a game but would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the food and drink prices! ⚾⚾⚾

We have been to many ball parks and have a lot to compare too...this one is very nice. Love the wide concourse on the lower level. The food selections looked very good, however I got really hot, and had to go to first aid and didn't get to look around as much as I had hoped to. Josh in first aid took great care of me and let me stay in there as long as I needed - when I left, he let me take wet clothes, an ice pack, and filled up my water bottle. We had seats in the upper level - 500's past the 1st base side and I would definitely buy those seats again, we were out of the sun the whole game and had a little bit of a breeze blowing. A bit of advice, take your soft sided cooler to put drinks in- they are 6.50 each, I decided not to take a cooler because I knew we would get a souvenir cup which typically is free refills or at least 1 free refill - they do not have that at this stadium, however the Bengals stadium does. I would love to go back to the stadium so I can really enjoy walking around. We had gone to the Reds Hall of Fame a few years ago and highly recommend it.

I actually visited in July 2018 to see the Phillies play the Reds. I attended a night game that also had a fireworks show afterwards set to Elvis music. The second game was a day game and Walk The Moon performed after the game. Both were excellent experiences and I enjoyed the ballpark very much. It is nostalgic, but modern and very clean.

Love Coming Here for Reds Games. Decent seats, Best food, good games, and the fan area near the food area is cool! I love the atmosphere of the ball game. BUSY AS CRAP! Best place around

Enjoyable stadium experience. I’m not a huge baseball fan, but I enjoyed the game. My friend and I found cheap tickets and went two nights while in Cincinnati. The location is great. You can have a view of the river or of the city. Parking is available underground for $25. The only downside is I was traveling with cash, and the stadium was cashless. However, you can purchase tickets with cash at the box office. The top floor towards the river has a swing and seats in an area for children to play! Definitely unique!

we are from out of town and watched the Reds play the Indians. We got a deal on seats. Row A . Had a really good time. Clean ball park. Nice people. Very similar to Camden Yards

Good ballpark, not great. Lots of HR and offense in the games usually so that's a plus for entertainment value. There isn't anything super special about it though.

I love the Great American Ball park. I have been to every MLB stadium except 8. This was my second visit to Great American and I really think it’s brilliant.
I was paying attention to the stadium itself - it’s view into Kentucky is stunning, the stadium is small and it works, the two riverboat smoke stacks in center field are very nice
The stadium was clean and the staff we encountered were all very nice and professional
There is a ton of parking at various prices
The stadium food offered several local restaurants including Skyline Chili at normal stadium prices
I rank this in my top three favorite MLB stadiums behind only Dodger Stadium in LA and Oracle Park in San Francisco
Go enjoy

A very nice baseball stadium to visit, especially with few fans...so no food or bathroom lines to worry about. Friendly staff and good food options. Try the box of fries with pulled pork, bbq sauce and cole slaw!

We sat in section 3 (the center most section behind home plate) in row H (the 8th and last row of these sections). The internet keeps mentioning a private entrance to the diamond club. I believe this is if you park in the central garage under the park. We parked in the east lot and just walked to the park. When you enter gate A, the big main entrance at the front of the park, take a left just after you go in. There will be two elevators that you can take down to the diamond club. There's also a stairwell next to the elevators you can take. Go down to the bottom of the stairwell (2 floors down) and go through the door. You'll be greeted by the diamond club staff who'll check your tickets, then let you in. You're also going to want to go in as soon as the gates open up. You'll be greeted by a hostess who'll ask how many are in your party. They'll also ask if you've dined there before. Just say no and they'll explain it all to you. You can sit near the buffet, near the bar, or near the window that looks into the tunnel leading to the reds clubhouse. We saw several players going back and forth. Anyway, you'll be seated and your server will come by to take your drink order. It's ALL INCLUSIVE. Basic beer selection, bud, bud light, miller lite, Michelob ultra, etc... Pretty extensive selection of liquor. Whiskey, bourbon, vodka, tequila. Good mid level stuff. Had a few bourbon and Ginger ales, a couple old fashioned, a couple Manhattans. They were VERY generous with the pours. Then there's the buffet. That day they had shrimp and rice, prime rib, a shrimp fettuccine, awesome macaroni and cheese, different salads, various crudites. Carrot cake, chocolate cake, chocolate covered cheese cake things (don't know what they were called but they were great) different candies, ice cream. The buffet is open as soon as the gates open, to one hour after the game starts. Get there early, it gets a little busy pretty quick. All the while your server is getting you whatever drinks you want. Then when the game starts, they will start the in seat service. About once or twice an inning a server will go up and down the idles asking you if you'd like anything. They'll give you paper menu with all the items. Hotdogs, bratwurst, hamburgers, Nacho's, ice cream, corn dogs, popcorn, peanuts, basically all the standard ballpark stuff. If you have a specific request, I think they'll do everything they can to get it for you. All the while, the drinks keep coming. I know some of you are really wondering about the alcoholic drinks. I'm pretty sure as long as you don't look drunk they'll keep bringing you anything you want. I probably, no joke, had at least 12 drinks the whole time. It also helps that I hold my liquor really well. Some people there were pretty obviously getting drunk. Maybe just don't be one of those guys. Then we had a rain delay. It was awesome, everyone just moved back inside the diamond club, and guess what, the servers were all over it getting everyone everything they wanted the whole time. Then we went back outside after the delay. The last call for the in seat service happens at the top of the 7th inning. Get whatever you want by then. Then when the game was over (we beat the Padres in the bottom of the 9th! Thanks Stevenson) most people started heading out. We hung out for a few minutes and watched JD interview Stevenson and Farmer from like 5 feet away. Then we headed back inside. I believe the diamond club stays open for one more hour after the game ends. We saw several people getting more drinks and sitting and chatting, but we were just ready to go. Now, to the actual game, which honestly sort of felt like an afterthought to the whole diamond club experience. We were close enough to easily hear strikes called and see all the action up close. You're honestly a lot closer to home plate than you can tell in any photos you see online. Now here's the thing, these are AMAZING seats. And you'll easily see all the action. But I've sat in several different sections of the ballpark, and the best seats for watching the game and being able to tell everything that's happening is probably the clubhouse seats up on the second level, the one's with the all you can eat area. But the diamond seats aren't so much for watching the game, they are for the experience. They are awesome, they are fun, they make you feel truly pampered and appreciated to have you be there. There's definitely no better experience than that. But both those seats together cost us something like $520. Yeah, it's definitely pricey, but it's worth it if that's the experience you're looking for. I would 100% get these diamond club seats again. But maybe only once a year, max. If it's not so much in your price range, save up for it and at least do it once in your life. We saw a few kids in these sections, and I think you're well within your right to bring them, and you totally should if they've never experienced it before too, but maybe consider leaving them at home with the babysitter. I think this experience is probably best suited for you and a significant other, or a close group of friends. At the end of the day, the whole point of the diamond club seats is to have a good time. And I sincerely promise you, from the absolute bottom of my heart, that you will have the best time of your life there. If you're reading this you obviously want to go. Don't think about it, live a little bit, pull the trigger and buy the tickets. You won't regret it! Oh, and don't forget to generously tip your servers and bartenders. They work their butts off and deserve every penny of it.

My 5 yr old daughter insists on coming back this summer for a game! I never understood why people wanted to tear down Tropicana fields by me in St Petersburg Fl until we came here.. Seeing this park really sets a high bar for other parks around the country. There are parks and playgrounds for kids nearby, the river and bridges, and the downtown vibe just leaves you wanting to come back!

The Great American Ballpark is OUTSTANDING. We attended a Reds/Cubs game and had a Grrrrrreat time. We will be back

I don't think there is a bad seat in this stadium! We went to see the Red Sox vs Reds game and sat by the Red Sox bullpen (Behind the right fielder). We had perfect seats. such a beautiful stadium.

We are doing a tour of all the MLB stadiums and The Great American Ballpark is #5 on the list.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and vibe is amazing. This ball park feels like a baseball stadium.
If you are a baseball fan then make a point to stop by here

We took the great American ball park tour. Our tour guide whose name was either Dan or Dave did a fantastic job. He was very informative and encouraged us to participate. We got to see the press box clubhouse area, dug out and the warning track. The Reds mascot also greeted us. I highly recommend this tour for $30 per person. You get the ballpark tour and admission to the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame.

This is our 13th MLB stadium and this one was great. We got way too much food but it's a pretty good deal! They have a deal where you can get all you can eat/ drinks for $25 (5 hot dogs, chips, popcorn, peanuts and drinks). Drinks are $8.50 ish a piece so if you drink more than 3 drinks then it's a deal just for that. We also got a helmet full of nachos which they layered so we got a ton of toppings (it wasn't just on top). There wasn't as many fun activites in between innings but it was also a noon game so that could be the reason for that. But we had a good day and I highly recommend!

Always a good time at the ballpark. Recommend doing your drinking and eating before going in though.

This is a beautiful park with a nice wide concourse, huge game play screens and easy to read stat boards. It was a Friday night so we were treated to a fireworks show after, which was awesome. There are a lot of food options but the lines were so long we ended up at one of those grab and go stations with self checkout. I got an "all beef" hot dog and a bucket of popcorn. When I unwrapped the hot dog it looked like a shriveled burnt finger and the popcorn was awful. The seats are typical (cramped and hard) for a ballpark also there was no in seat food/drink service.

Great American Ball Park is a beautiful stadium in downtown Cincinnati. It is wonderfully designed, and is a truly pleasing visit for fans. There are many snack bars, with a fine variety of choices. The employees are friendly. It seems that any seat is a nice place to see the game. We could see the river and some of the skyline from our seats. The facility looked well maintained, and was very clean. The main gift shop was well stocked with a variety of souvenirs. It had a wall of caps for every MLB team. We had Kahn's hot dogs, Reds hot smokie, and a bratwurst. The lines for concessions were pretty fast, with the exception of the ice cream. For parking we opted for the parking pass for the below the stadium garage. This made for a very easy walk to the stadium. Our trip to Great American was great, and we would highly recommend it for a night of family fun!

This is a very cool and interesting ballpark! A great way to spend a Saturday afternoon in Cincinnati! This is a must do in downtown Cincinnati!

This was mine and my son's first time to the ballpark. It was great.
We sat in section 222 and had unlimited food and drink (upgraded ticket.)
The staff was friendly and the ballpark seemed clean and inviting.

Wonderful friendly staff and great seats...clean stadium! The city has done a fabulous job connecting the two stadiums with parking and an awesome park! Wonderful job celebrating 150 years of baseball.

This is one of our favorite ballparks. It is a nice blend of old and new. The steamboat in centerfield is a great touch. Lots of variety for food and a kids play area inside as well.

First game we have seen in a MLB Ball Park. Nothing to compare this with but we had a great time. I do recommend getting the all you can eat for $25. 5 Hot dogs and all the popcorn, peanuts and drink you want. The downside is that the pick up is not very convenient. I say get your 5 dogs and eat them while you are there with everything else. Then load up and go to your seat. Check the time the doors open. We were there super early and had to hang out for a bit. You will need some time to visit the hall of fame statues out front. You will notice people starting to line up in front of the doors when time gets close. We were sitting on a ledge to the extreme left and door opened right in front of us. Just FYI if you are reading this.

Great ballpark with ample historical aspecs of Cincinnati Reds history. Good parts to keep kids interested and great choices of food. Good parking nearby

We are on an empty nest quest to see the Dodgers play in all 30 stadiums. We had a good time at the games, great seats, nice staff at the field. Stadium seems a bit run down given its relatively young age.

I went on the Labor Day weekend and it was the Reds Vs Cubs! The game itself was good (I find it weird that so many people were wandering about watching the game on huge tv’s and eating rather than actually watching the game!!
Ticket prices varied online and to be honest, you can walk around and get a better view.
Food prices are extortionate as you can imagine. Drinks are $14 minimum and everything else similarly overpriced but that’s to be expected.
It’s a wonderfully safe environment for kids and families, expect it to be crowded and loud!!
On certain Fridays, they do amazing fireworks displays which are worth the journey alone!

We went to a Reds-Padres game and had a blast. The stadium is modern, the people are friendly and the whole experience very cool. Will definitely go back.

A very nice ballpark to see a Reds game. We went on a Fireworks Friday and had a wonderful time. Everyone was so friendly at the ballpark. We brought our drinks (water bottles ) and snacks ( some crackers and peanuts). Not a bad view anywhere in the ballpark. The parking rate for the ballpark is $ 20 but prices do go down further away from the stadium. Food and drinks at the ballpark ( in my opinion) is expensive. Our total cost to the game was for 2 tickets, section 417, row r, was about $ 110.00 ( that includes parking, ticket cost and ticket fees for online ordering).
Important: Go to Reds website to read over what is allowed in the ballpark and the size of the bag. Also, if your there for a birthday, anniversary or anything else...customer service will print ( for free ) a certificate to mark the event.

So took the kids here for their first baseball game. It was an awesome experience. Food was great, seats were great. We loved it. Too bad the Reds lost.

Very nice ballpark. Cudos to the person we spoke to on the phone who helped us get great sits in the shade on a very hot day. The seats were in section 134 seats row jj .

My husband and I have been to GABP hundreds of times as life long Reds fans but just last month we took our 5 year old grandson to his first “game”. We went with an open mind that this was his game and we wanted him to enjoy being at the ball park. So for those readers who have kids, this park is very kid friendly. There are two play places. One on the ground floor and one on the 4th floor. There was a nursing room that I noticed, too, that we obviously didn’t use. There is also a small baseball field where kids can take a swing at some balls. We went on a very hot day and there were plenty of misting machines/fans around the park. We took a small folding stroller to keep him off his feet and this fit easily under our seats. He loved the parks but had a good time with the between inning big board games/entertainment. He doesn’t really understand baseball yet but all the songs and clapping tunes kept him focused. Don’t forget to get your little’s first game certificate, you can fill out for this beforehand. Check out Sunday rates at the park if you are going with family, they have great discounts on this day of the week. And if you are a die hard like we are, you have to get your little a Reds Head or Reds Rookie membership. It comes with tickets to the ball park and many other perks, it pays for itself easily!

Family oriented. Strict rules to add in enjoyment of game. Only issue we had was out of the ball park’s hands........we had 2nd row seating, unfortunately for us, the 1st rowseating directly in front of us was a young family with 5 small children. They NEVER sat down, which is difficult when I am 5’1” tall. And my view was blocked almost the entirety of the game.

I travel to a lot of stadiums but really loved this one. The price for tickets is great
And the area around the ball park is amazing. There is plenty to do and eat at the park

Clean well managed ballpark. Security is fast and friendly, lots of parking avab or stay at nearby hotel and shuttle or uber over. Best hot dogs here hands down :) Free wifi as well as a kids area to play make it fun for all!

Great location. Good for all ages.
More options than other parks. Location very close to other attractions.

Had a great time at the game and ease of access throughout the breezeway. Many options for food, and, as always, high beer prices!

I’m not even a Reds fan but I love watching games here and also seeing the surrounding views. Lots of options around for a bite/drink before/after a game or any other day too

My girlfriend and I attended one of the games at the end of the season, against the NY Mets. It was our first trip to the ball park during our time in Cincy.
The setting of the stadium is perfect as you have backdrops of the skyline of downtown Cincinnati on one side, and the Ohio river on the other. The food and drink on offer was good, some good local brews and food, and the price was in line with a lot of the other sporting arenas around the country.
The staff we encountered were helpful and friendly.
Neither of us are Reds (or Mets) fans but we certainly enjoyed a good day at a very nice ballpark!

There were a plethora of pre-game activities involving hall of fame, Johnny Bench through contemporary Nurse Blake of internet fame. During the national anthem there was a display of Bald Eagles in flight from the Cincinnati Zoo along with a zoo animal parade. It was amazing. The staff at the park keep everyone secure, informed and served. They do a good job. In addition the weather was perfect for a night game. The Reds won and there were a lot of home runs--we saw many displays of fireworks. We will return. Family of all ages attended both old and young.

We went to see the Cubs play the Reds in this very family-friendly ballpark. You have to take advantage of the all you can eat special where $20 will get you five hotdogs, unlimited peanuts, unlimited popcorn and unlimited soda refills!

Although I am not a Reds fan, I have been to this stadium more than any other due to proximity. With that being said, I have sat in all inclusive suites, bleachers and even in the Steamboat in Centerfield, they're isn't a bad spot to catch a ball game here. The staff is always super nice and friendly if you're a Reds fan or not. Would recommend catching a ball game here.

We had a great time here. We are not reds fans but wanted to check it out. Very cool and right on the river. Very kid family.

The field is beautiful. There are so many food and beverage options everyone can find a favorite. Was there for Marty's last day and bravo for the awesome sendoff!

Everyone was very freindly there. A very clean ballpark. Had good seats. They had wonderful rootbeer floats!

Caught a game here a few days into the 2019 season. It was a lovely 34 degrees at game time. The stadium however was pretty nice. Staff was very friendly that we encountered. Overall it was a nice park.

Although I'm not a big baseball fan, we ended up going here twice with a 2 week time frame. The first time we had awesome tickets directly behind the dug-out and the 2nd time was in a suite. This review is about the place, in general. Surprisingly the seats are quite comfortable and there's sufficient leg room (I'm 6ft 3 and I was fine). But...….$10.25 for a domestic beer??? What? are you kidding me?!! Yes, it's true. A small bag of peanuts: $5.00. One bottle of water: how about $4? Nope....$6.00 each!! Food: crazy expensive and limited choices. It' a very good, friendly family day out but make sure you take your big fat wallet with you!

This was my first MLB game and I am so glad we picked a Reds game! The ballpark was amazing! So much activity going on for couples or families. Ballpark staff was super friendly and helpful. We stayed across the street at the AC Marriott so getting into the ballpark was a breeze. Tons of food and drink options and they do allow outside drinks and I think food so check their bag policy before going. (We didn’t bring anything in). Perfect location next to the river park so after the game you can take a walk to stretch your legs. I can’t wait to return!

We had a great time! The staff were all very friendly and very helpful. The stadium was very clean. There were a lot of choices.

Beautiful setting by the River- easily accessible walking distance from downtown hotels. Loved the food options, and the picnic area inside the park. It was also convenient you could bring plastic bottled drinks and food inside the park. Great seats (section 121 row Q) behind home plate, except they were in the sun the entire time during a 1:00pm game. We were surprised the gate opened only 60 mins before first pitch. Overall, a great ball park!

We had club seats between home and first - great view. The food stations are well organized and the food was very good. All food and pop were included in the ticket price. Pricey was the wine at $15 per glass.

We've seen 21 of the 30 current MLB ballparks for regular season games, and as a baseball fan this was an enjoyable experience, but probably our lease favorite to date. We sat in the upper deck behind home plate for a game vs. the FL Marlins, and the view of the field as well as of the Ohio River was quite good. We have visited the Rays in the comfortable A/C at Tropicana Field, which is reputed to be the worst park in MLB, but it has many niceties that are lacking at GAB. The video boards were lacking in information displayed and the use of replays, while a visit to the food concessions did not allow for continued viewing of the game which can occur live at many stadiums and via video monitors at most stadiums. Food options tended toward the more basic choices and I did not note any local culinary specialties. The 321 (beer, hot dogs, ice cream) Tuesday special was a nice cost saver. We found the central garage a bit confusing and the attendants didn't seem to know how to direct us to the section where we parked.

Good sight lines, decent food options (brisket stand in right field; bratwursts on the right field line). They were pretty skimpy on the pyrotechnics, though--or maybe that's because the Reds were shut out this game.

What else am I going to say about my home away from home? This park is fantastic! Great food selections and great views from any seat. The staff is always so inviting and helpful. The only bad thing about GABP is the performance that the Reds put on sometimes 🤣🤣 If you’re a Reds fan, you get used to it. I will be a lifelong season pass holder win or lose. Always an enjoyable time watching baseball.

Fun game, Park is fairly new and nice. Lots of in between inning activities. Be sure and get there early to eat or have a drink on the closed street in front of the ball park. Parking right next-door cost $17 a little farther walk you can get it for 12.

Both days it took almost an hour to get into the park. First day we were there almost 2 hours early and went to the home plate gate. Second day we were 90 minutes early and went to a different gate (the bullpen gate). Both times the workers struggled with the technology to read tickets on phones. Figure it out GABP. Been to 21 MLB stadiums and this was by far the worst experience getting in.

We went hear for a game in August for a ballgame. A very nice stadium. Choies of seats because the Reds do not draw well. Beautifull views of the Ohio river. Cincy Hall of fame on site. Plenty of parking around the stadium and lots of transportation to the park. Good food selection. Lots of entertainment.

Beautiful Ballpark! The atmosphere and surroundings are great. Parking is all around the stadium. People were friendly and helpful. Definitely a must do for the baseball fan.

Excellent place to watch a ball game, wide selection of food choices, great views of the park, excellent fireworks
display when the reds hit home runs and wins.

Beautiful park, easy walking access from dowtown hotel. Nice riverfront park and lots of bars around the ballpark. Staff are friendly. Not a big variety of food options, beer is good though.

First time to a Reds game in 30 years and first time at new park that replaced Riverfront Stadium. i will always have a fond remembrance and love what Riverfront was, however this park also has some nice features. Love the Riverboat theme in outfield, though it's a shame you have to walk around back of it to see the Ohio River to any degree. Can only see a bit from indoors. Some parks ignoring the Riverboat do have a nicer view in outfield. Overall it's a nice park, though i also noted as others have that the fans here are a bit quiet overall, that being said, the team Cincinnati has assembled on a relative low budget needs improvement. I also agree that the circus atmosphere and not just here but other parks has gotten distracting and noisy and for actual baseball fans has become a detraction to going to a live game versus on tv. Good Seats behind the Reds dugout though overall, and nice food selection though takes some walking as the food area behind home is like a double row and food areas are pretty spread out. Overall though a very nice park and was excited to be here.

Very nice ballpark ambience. Great seating, selection of food & drinks, and very clean facilities. Easy to walk to from downtown which is so nice.

Nice and clean ballpark. Has plenty of food and drinks options. Overlooks the Ohio river. The tickets were not very expensive.

We had a great experience at GABP as 1st time visitors to the ballpark. The kids enjoyed all of the fun photo ops around the park and how friendly all of the workers were that we encountered. Probably the cleanest ballpark I've ever been in. And nice area around the park with bars and restaurants.

The game was fun and even though the Reds lost - we got Free Pizza! I am so glad the pitching staff got 11 strikeouts!

I liked Great American Ballpark with its wide entrances and lots of statues as you walk up to the park.
You can move around well there and there are escalators to help with reaching the higher levels,
The sightlines are good and overlooking the Ohio River gives some stunning views.
I would say Cincinnati’s park is similar to Cleveland’s by grade but not quite as good as Pittsburgh’s.

I enjoyed the ball park and the theme match with the home club, but I didn't see anything that really stood out as revolutionary or unique. It's location is great, right on the river, but I don't thin you can see the river anywhere from inside it, so that it a bit of an opportunity lost. It's a baseball park.

The Great American Ballpark is a very nice baseball venue in the modern 21st century style. Great views of the Ohio River over the outfield expanses. Seating is commensurate with other parks built since the early 90s. Even with the currently limited crowd capacity, it was easy to get good seats a week prior to the game. Easy access and parking adjacent to the stadium. Good craft beers, although I was a little disappointed that I couldn’t find any Rhinegeist Truth, my Cincinnati favorite. We had to have the Skyline Chili Dogs, which were were tasty but rather small. All in all, a great day at the ballpark!

This is a nice ball park with a great location. Lots of things to see and do outside the park, so you don't have to come just for the game. On the negative side, it felt like a minor league ball park. Every gimmick was pulled out during the game. I guess the marketing department has to sell tickets, and based on the crowd size, they have to go with the gimmicks rather than selling the team and the game itself. The other strange thing is that there is no "enforcement" of seating locations. Anyone can just come down and sit in your seats. Of course, once you point out those are your seats, they happily move back a row or two, but it was crazy watching everyone for the first few innings move around to empty seats. Unfortunately, that interfered with your ability to watch the game as people were always standing up and moving around while the game was on. That was terrible. On top of that, there were food/drink vendors all over the place. I think there was one vendor for every 10 fans. They also constantly blocked the view of the game. Pretty much everything about watching the game was mediocre or worse. The ball park itself was beautiful, well-maintained and worth a visit. The staff was friendly as well. Just too many gimmicks and no one was interested in watching the actual game being played on the field.

We’re making our way to every MLB Stadium and compared to some others I felt this one was smaller in size but very clean! Beers were $11-$15 each, popcorn was $10. Parking nearby cost us $25 but was easy to find and navigate to the stadium and back. We had great seats right at the visiting sides dugout. The downtown area is severely lacking for after game entertainment so we ended up back at our hotel and taking it easy. Overall, pretty good stadium and worth the visit!

We really enjoyed our experience there at the Great American ballpark!!!! We had fun and ate some good food. It's an impressive Stadium.
Unfortunately the Cincinnati Reds didn't win the game.
We've been there a couple of before and had fun! We definitely recommend this Stadium ballpark.
Very impressive Stadium

Great park. Lots of things for kids of all ages. Went 4th of July and they put on a great firework show. Always show support for the troops. Friendly staff. Love the spin the wheel donation game for bobble head giveaways.

This a fun ball park to visit. Parking can be a challenge but I would recommend the East parking garage next to the ball park. The right field seats are an excellent less expensive ticket.

On the day we arrived, we walked around the area only to discover an ongoing Red’s baseball game which recently started. We hadn’t been to a professional baseball game in a long time. We had fun watching the game.

We bought our daughter, son-in-law (birthday), and grandson boxed seats Section 302 Row H. We bought tickets for ourselves in section 427 Row E. In Section 302, they had unlimited food and soft drinks in an air conditioned space which can only be accessed from your seats. You can take the elevator to that level, but they will not let you past another agent checking tickets for that level once you get off the elevator. You can’t even see the view because there is a wall where food and drinks are. Very expensive seats for Section 302—$130 each. Section 427 was $35 each.
We enjoyed walking around on 400 level back by the swings which is through the kids area. They have outdoor cushioned patio furniture and tv’s to watch the game. I was able to get a better view of the Budweiser level and the sun deck level from there to see if we would want to get tickets there someday. Budweiser deck for sure.
Do not buy parking in advance unless it’s right there. We bought a spot through an app and were quite surprised when it was only $6 for the game. We paid $20.

12:35 day game was a real winner in walkoff style today. Our Usher was a fantastic guy whom took great care of us. It started very cold and warmed up. The coneys n pizza were great,

Finally got to knock Cincinnati and Great American Ballpark off my baseball bucket list this year. The stadium is a nice place to catch a game, but doesn't have a lot that really separates it from the pack.
The riverboat smokestacks are cool, especially when they shoot fire. And catching some actual riverboats behind them makes for a cool shot.
All the seats face towards home plate, but there is not a ton of legroom in the rows. The seats have some of the tightest rows I have seen in the majors.
Beer offering is pretty good. Lots of good local brews from a city with a great brewing history.
Our crew liked checking out the VR lounge along third base, where we could try some free VR games. There is also a nice area in the outfield with a playground and some games for the kids.
Restaurant options nearby are pretty good, too. Definitely worth a visit for a baseball fan.

I'm biased as a Reds fan, but I've been to a few other Major League Ballparks, and GABP is the most fan oriented. They're always adding new food spots, beer options, and other perks. The staff are never rude or aggressive. You'll even get to watch a live broadcast for the local provider Fox Sports Ohio if you choose. In terms of parking, the costs are well below cities in bigger markets.

The riverfront is so much fun with all of the restaurants leading up to the entrance to the stadium. The stadium itself is beautiful! too bad the tea this year (so far)) isn't as great as the stadium. A definite MUST SEE!

Great to see this park with it’s Patriotic flare! It is decked out in Red, White and Blue and has the bunting of the Fourth of July across the front. Great photo ops. You can also to pay to go on a guided tour of the ball park if you have the time!

Great American Ballpark is easily found and located on the Ohio River. Pretty views with many activities inside stadium. Activities between innings were eye catching and kept all entertained. One of the better pro baseball stadiums I have been to with my husband.

Cubs on July 4th drew our four generations together for the game. The District is the bargain of the decade with twenty buck seats that are general admission for three sections and include nine bucks of food concessions, WOW.
The heat was tough in a 1:10 game that fried our 5 year old whom spent two sessions in the cooling room. The elevator to the terrace level saved the 86 year old in his decent out of the park. Plus twenty buck city parking right outside the park in the underpass is both convenient and easily accessible with a drop off area. The concessions were great from my brat from Queen City Sausage to my pepperoni slice from LaRosas. This place is nothing but great with a great team to boot.

What a beautiful facility. Even though the stadium is in the downtown area, the stadium itself and the surrounding areas are beautifully maintained. Safety is a vital concern and I could tell that public safety is a priority here

Stepped up to the ticket office, asked for an all inclusive They fixed us up with some great seats. Walked in to get a beer, and found out was NOT so all inclusive. Alcohol was charged. Not sure how many seats are available in this section, but the clubhouse could only seat 40% at best. Most people were walking around trying to juggle their food and drink Was hard to find a seat to cool off in the air conditioned area. The food options were very good, and plenty to offer this large crowd. Staff was very courtious. Just did not meet our expectations.

An overall excellent ballpark with no downsides - good prices, food/drink selection, views from both the seats and of the city/river, and pre/post game entertainment like the Reds HOF. The overall sum of its parts was what made it such great place to watch a game.
Incredibly accessible by transit but I wouldn’t want to try by car.

Great American Ball Park is one of the best in MLB. Reds are always fun to watch, but even if you’re not a huge baseball fan, the experience at GABP can’t be beat!

A lovely, modern ballpark with many eating/drinking venues and a fabulous view of downtown and the river as well. Downside is same as everywhere else, very expensive to eat and drink. 16 oz beer $10 and 24 oz $14.25. One thing I like at this venue, everyone is very nice. Good family atmosphere!

We went to two consecutive games during the recent Cubs series. Our first seats were on the wall in Section 103 in left field. EXCELLENT SEATS! Our second seats were in Section 113 on the aisle, seats 1,2,3,4. The seats in this section are mounted at an angle making you feel on top of each other. Plus, the aisle blocks your view to home plate, especially when some supposed baseball fans are constantly leaving their seats, LOL! The ballpark itself is very clean and has a wide variety of food choices. Plenty of parking at a great price. Put this park on your bucket list!

Stayed at a nearby hotel, grabbed shuttle to the game for $1 each. It was not the outcome I'd hoped for (Cubs fan, we lost), but we enjoyed our trip. Ball park was clean, easy to get in and out. Lots of food and beverage choices, but of course there are lines. Plan on missing about half an inning, but there are lots of TVs to keep you updated. Would definitely go again.

With a location right near the banks of the river and the surrounding infrastructure of downtown, the Reds have succeeded in achieving what many other teams have done. They have a nice ballpark in their own right.
The stadium seems to need a signature attribute to take it to the next level. But other than that, it is top notch.

Went to a Reds game while in town, nice park, I kept hearing about $1.00 hot dogs, never saw that, but lots of food and beverage options. I will say the cops and others directing traffic sure aren't helpful in any way. They couldn't even tell me where the Southbank Shuttle stopped, unfriendly and useless, not sure the point. Finally called an Uber.

Went to a game here in July 2022 as a back-up plan after the Santana concert was cancelled. Ok ballpark for a "modern" stadium, better than the old Riverside Stadium but not the same hometown feel as the older Crosley Field nor other MLB stadiums e.g., Camden Yards in Baltimore. Staff were present but I can't say they invited much interaction or team spirit. It rained that day and there was no offer from ushers to towel-off the seats. Crowd wasn't all that enthusiastic (despite the good Reds pitching) until the end when the Reds did an amazing comeback win. The area outside the stadium was pretty cool with all the statues of the classic Reds players.

Take a Ball Park tour! Yes...they have tours. Want to sit where the players sit? Want to see private restaurants? Want to see clubs? You see all this and more on a tour. Your tour even gets you admission to the museum! Just look up the Reds Hall of Fame and Museum on the web.

Beautiful park, helpful staff, and lots of vendor options. We even got to see a Reds win! Glad we were able to see a game during our time in Cincy.

Closed so we could not go inside but the area is very nice and certainly worth a visit. Right in the Riverwalk area.

Good nite at the ballpark ⚾️ Catching up with an old friend. Had a good evening - stadium brats and a cold beer - atmosphere was good - bark in the park night - so lots of folks with pets - had great seats and good parking. Peanut and beer guy had his own “trading cards” which was hilarious! Section 133 will go again!

I was able to enjoy the Foo Fighters at the GAB. The sound was pretty good, it was my first Stadium concert so I don’t have much to compare it to. I would love to see a game here, great views of the Ohio River, Kentucky and the Roebling Bridge. The food and drinks were typically overpriced. I had La Rosa’s pizza, which I found to be quite greasy even for Stadium fare. The water fountains gave out horrible water. Clean restrooms. I will most likely be returning to the GAB and Cincy, I quite enjoyed my experience!!

Great park to catch a game! The seats were great! Easy park to navigate and the views are amazing! Beer was very expensive.

This is a very nice and comfortable park on the river in Cincinnati. It is surrounded by many bars and restaurants, which gives the entire area a festive vibe. The sight lines are good and so too are the concessions.

Great stadium which has several places to eat and gain adult beverages. The selection is good, but of course on the pricy side of things like most ball parks. Seats are good most anywhere and several places to park... but can still be a challenge. Taxi or Uber is much easier.

Great day/evening out with my son who flew in from England. Everyone so friendly and welcoming. Helped that the game was so entertaining also.

This is a very nice stadium with tons of food options, including a large variety of sausages (Cincinnati being "Porkopolis") and other local eats like chili and goetta fries. Prices are pretty normal for ballpark food. The concourse is very clean and it's pretty easy to find your way around.
I sat in section 423, which offers a great view right behind home plate. There are also some really nice views of the Ohio River and downtown around the perimeter of the stadium. The neighborhood around the park is really nice, and there is plenty to do and see both before and after the game.

A wonderful Major League Baseball park located in a vibrant downtown setting.
Easy entry, easy to walk around and great seat views throughout the stadium.
The food and drink options are great, with many options unique to Cincinnati.
Make a trip to watch the Reds play!

Great American Ballpark is a nice ballpark and did not disappoint minus the fact we arrived early, substantially early, to line up for the bobblehead giveaway only to be told "they're all gone"! Thousands gone in a matter of minutes?! It could have been handled differently by Reds management. Anyway, the ballpark itself has a nice layout and backdrop. I would definitely recommend the stadium tour which I plan to review separately. It was easily 10/10!
Go see the Reds play ball!
My wife and I visited Cincinnati and took in a Saturday afternoon game. The stadium is downtown and very easy to get to. From our hotel it was a 10-minute walk. Lots of food and drink options at the park. Seats are comfortable and great view of the whole park.
