Incredible adventure, thrills and anxiety on the first trip. Entire family experienced it, including 17 & 13 year old daughters. Needless to say we have various level of thrill seeking in the family, and all of us had an incredible time. Our trip was made even better by going with the crew from Dan Mick's - their knowledge, respect and care for the area and the customer makes it worth it.

My wife and I had a blast, our driver and guide was Ben! He was knowledgeable about the plants, their use by Native Americans and one heck of a driver! I thought about trying to drive one of these, flat ground I would have been fine, but would have turned around at Devils Backbone!

Ben was our guide and his knowledge of the area made the time even more memorable. They also added a UTV so both my wife and I could drive separately with each of of our kids. The front seat for teenagers is just better. Thank you! This was great just a fun couple of hours well worth it.

Really enjoyed this hummer excursion with High Point Hummer & ATV. It was exhilarating . Our guide Aleah was excellent and professional.

The views from Hell’s Revenge were awesome. Ben our guide was very good and went out of his way to make sure everyone was having a great experience.

A must do in Moab! I was afraid of the drop offs at the beginning of the trail, but our RZR 1000 did awesome! Our family laughed and had a great time! We went to the pools and then turned around and came back the same way we came in. We had a great outing! It’s beautiful! Bring your sunscreen, hats and water :)

Fun place to ride 4x4 vehicles! Anything from side by sides to Jeeps, to hummers and more! Rock climbing safely on a marked trail.

If you don’t love roller coasters and heights, then FOR THE LKVE OF GOD DO NOT CONSIDER THIS. Take a cold shower and slap yourself in the face for the thought. I will have nightmares for the rest of my life and we will definitely not have any more children after this trip. It was flatly not for for me. My back and neck are a mess. I cried myself to sleep afterward. My heart is racing still the next day. I will have to capture a local chipmunk and take it home with me an emotional support animal.
PLEASE do your homework. YouTube has plenty of videos. Look up “hell’s revenge entrance” for yourself and don’t trust your lying husband to share any of it with you.
That said, the views are spectacular, and our guide was great. Just be aware of the risk and emotional trauma.

Hell's revenge is really awesome! 4x4d our truck, and it was not necessary challenging, but you had to pay attention to make sure you did not fall off the cliff! The road is really narrow, but lots of fun going up and down the canyon! overall great time, great location, great weather, and everyone on these trails are really friendly and happy!

Moab Adventure Center offered a sunset safari hummer tour and this was fun and had a great experience watching all the colors of the sunset.

This was a real thrill. You drive an ATV following a guide up, down, and across some amazing and sometimes scary terrain. I highly recommend this.

Ben did an awesome job, our first time on level 6 type trail. He was ver knowlwdgable of the landscape and area. He was very friendly to all on the trip.

We took a Hummer ride with the Moab Adventure Center. It was worth the price and a great experience. We did the sunset tour that was 3 hours of fun an exciting experience and great scenery.

TREX 4x4 Hell's Revenge Tour was awesome! We had Ben as a guide and he did a great job...of stopping, making sure we all got to drive, everyone was having a great time and knew a bunch of fun stories about the area. We got to go pretty fast (or slow if you wanted) and stopped at some great picture spots. You literally are at 70 degree angles and in sand...it's an awesome time. Hell's Revenge is HOT HOT HOT...we did the afternoon tour - so keep that in mind. THey bring water and are not in short supply - but it's three hours in the sun. Great way to spend the afternoon!

We had an amazing time. Ben, our guide, made the experience so much fun. He was very knowledgeable and patient. Our adrenaline was pumping and our knuckles were white. Definitely recommend this trip. Ask for Ben!

I would not try this on my own -- took a tour with High Point Hummer. This is a great off-roading experience with many "obstacles" -- staring off with the Devil's Backbone. Many thrills and delights. Definitely will do it again!

If your into off roading you've probably already heard about hells revenge. Its an AMAZING experience driving on the slick rock and challenging yourself and vehicle. Just make sure you have the skills and a good vehicle it's dangerous if your not prepared.

When my partner told me we were taking a tour of this road, I thought it would be meh at best. Exceeded my expectations and then some. It was gorgeous scenery, genuinely hair raising twists and turns. Bouldering at its best. I have two kids. 11 and 8, who loved it too. Don't miss this if you go to Moab. It's worth every penny!

I went on a two hour Hummer tour on Hell’s Revenge and it was awesome. I couldn’t believe a Hummer could go up those steep rocks. I would recommend any tour in this area.

This 4x4 tour was amazing. They had very well maintained vehicles that had plenty of power to do what needed to be done on the Hells Revenge trail. Aaron was a great guide who made sure everyone was comfortable with their machines. He then did a great job of giving us a great ride through the trails. This was a much more exciting ride than I expected it to be. This wasn’t just an easy ride of following the leader. Although we did follow each other, the ride was exciting and we climbed rocks and went down steep hills. It was a ton of fun and I would recommend it anyone that would appreciate an exciting and adventurous riding experience.

We did the Hummer tour to Hell's Revenge at sunset. It was fantastic!! We had 3 teenagers in our group and they loved it also. Views were spectacular!

We took the tour with Dan Mick's Jeep tours. Super duper drivers and a lot of fun! Highly recommend the trail, but let someone else drive.

Had a great experience and the best guide ever, Kevin. I was pretty scared but Kevin was able to put me at ease with his great sense of humor and even greater knowledge of the area. In the end, I lost some of my fear and wouldn't have missed the experience for the world!

We went through Hell’s Revenge and Hell’s Gate with Dan Mick’s Tour company. These folks know their equipment and how to travel this breathtaking ride! So much fun!

Thrilling ATV ride, gorgeous rocks, spectacular view of the colorado river. Hikers/bikers could spend all day exploring the terrain. The drivers seat is not for the faint of heart.

This is an awesome place with many incredible views and sights to see. You can spend many hours going through the park. A great place to drive ATV's through
the established routes. ATV's are a fun way to see the park and drive through it.

4 wheeling on Hell's Revenge may not be for everyone but it is a definite thrill. It will take a good 4 hours and bring plenty of water in the summer.

We rented RZR XP 1000 2 seaters for each of us to drive solo. Me being pretty risk averse was a bit scared up the first very steep hill. You do need some guts to go here (well if you are a first timer like me). But we had such a good time here!

This was quite the exciting experience! I'm not very brave but I braved this trail. Well I braved it with Dan Mick's Guided Jeep Tours and was glad they were driving and knew what they were doing. It was fun to do the trail and watch others as well. What an adventure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We took an all day with Dan Mick's and it was great, we went into Mick's hot tube and were amazed that a jeep could go in and out, seat belt required, great tour this is the 3rd time with Dan Mick's.

Great views, don't miss this one, a great start to our Utah Jeep experience. Views of the Colorado, Hells Gate, Escalator. We skipped Tip Over Challenge.

This was an awesome experience. I would recommend everyone try it. You will love it. Ben was my tour guide, he was very good and he would tell us a little history through out the tour. I hope to go through it again be fore my father and I leave.

Kyle was a great tour guide. We were well instructed on driving the machines. The 4X4's were clean and ran well. Kyle gave us good information about the sites and the history of where we were. The tour was beautiful, fun and a great balance of activity and stops. We would do it again1

We rented a 2 seat 4X4 RZR 900 for 5 hours. We spent a couple of hours on this trail (?), fascinated, scared, and loving the challenge of being off on our own! There were times we wondered where is the trail!? And times we wondered if we would flip, roll, make it home alive! The terrain is unreal! Loved it!!! This would be equal to a triple diamond!! 😵⛰😳

An awesome experience with Jeff through the Sorrel River Ranch. Super fun time with my husband and the tour guide. He made sure we were comfortable and had a BLAST

We had only a little idea of what we were getting into with this Canyonlands by Night UTV tour, so luckily we had the good sense to ask for a driver the night before. It was thrilling and at times scary. We screamed almost the entire time! Beautiful scenery. Ian was a terrific driver and guide!

Extreme trails NOT to be taken lightly or by the novice. Take a tour and enjoy leaving the driving to the pros.

What a wonderful trip !! we will be back ! a lot of different trail system's to drive on Hell's revenge is only one of the harder trail's .

greatness. had the wife and kids screening all morning at me. they had never done anything like this. but the end of the day though they got used to it.

Craig was guide and driver. He ensured everyone's safety while still having fun!!! He was so knowledgeable of the area - history and landscape - provided information on the various plants and interesting stories.

We have never experienced such an exhilarating and fun experience that this ride offered. We will definitely plan to make this trek again.

Hells Revenge is a fun trail on iconic slick rock. The trail is fun and is great for capable off road vehicles other than the exit out of the trail that is a rough and bumpy section.
There are some nice places throughout the trial to stop and take in the vista's. There is a beautiful overlook of the Colorado River. Bring lots of water as it is a scorcher in the summer.

Wow, this was an exhilarating adventure. It's super scary at first but very fun. Michael at Moab Adventures was our tour guide and he was super nice and made our excursion fun and exciting.

Grand Company did a great time. Ask for Dave as a tour guide. He was great.
The vehicles really climb the rocks securely

This was a terrific experience. We got to see totally different terrain, with only mildly octane thrills. Nathan was a great guide and an amazing driver.

Curtis, fromDan Micks Jeep Tours led us on an incredible ride. Terrifying and exhilarating. Make sure you give yourself this experience. Too exciting to pass up.

Loved our guide Ben, awesome guy, great sense of humor and he really cared that we had a good time. He had some great stories about the area too.

This was a super tour in the you drive ATVs. They were clean and functioned well. Danny our guide was knowledgeable and did a great job. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend this tour we were on it yesterday our tour guide was Ben. He was knowledgeable about the area and the history. It was a thrilling ride for everyone recommend or all ages. We can’t wait to one back and bring our kids.

Trip Advisor has never steered us wrong and this tour was no exception. Lucky was our guide and was exceptional. Fun, informative and an excellent coach. After a brief introduction, we headed into the Moab hills. The initial driving was scary and gut wrenching, but soon became an adrenaline rush as we learned to trust Lucky and the vehicles. This soon became easily one of the best tours of our lives and all of us would do it again tomorrow. Far better than sitting in a vehicle with someone else driving.

We went with Outlaw Jeep Adventures and took the sunset ATV tour. We had hoped to do a guided Jeep self drive of the trail, but when we arrived in the morning the trail had about twenty five trucks and hummers ahead of us and so we opted to head elsewhere. Really glad that we got to experience the trail though. Beautiful sights and plenty of interesting obstacles to take on in the RZR 1000. Great! The entry fin is roller coaster excitement level for a lot of people. Just fyi... you should not do something like this without knowing what wheeling is like and maybe take a moment to review some videos of what the ride is like!

We had so much fun on this Jeep trail. Everyone took turns crawling the rocks. We will do this trail again soon.

One hell of an experience. Thank you Ben and Tammy for the great and informative experience. we were able to switch drives half way through, as along as driver is above are 18 years old, so worth every penny. Definitely coming back again.

Did most of it in my own stock 4Runner and it was great. Unless you are an expert offroader or have a purpose built vehicle, this will take a few hours to complete; we took the alternate route that connects the road around mile 2, to the road around mile 4, effectively skipping Hells Gate and the hot tubs, but we wanted to do other things in the same day.
The trail is doable in a stock car, but it can be very challenging since we did not want to damage it.The trail is great and there are a lot of places to take pictures and look at the scenery.

One of the best things to do in Moab. Absolute blast and will go back for more. Exciting time all around.

This is one of the best things I have ever done. I highly recommend taking this tour. My kids were a little worried when we first started because it is some intense four wheeling at times. But by the middle and all the way to the end they were having a blast. I took my 8, 6 and 4 year olds. Plan on bringing friends here.

We came to Moab, UT for Arches NP, brought our own Polaris Ranger XP 900 to drive around town (UTV’s are legal as long as they are insured and your ride is street legal). Met a great local who told us about “Sand Flats Recreational Area”, what a godsend he was! My husband is an experienced 4X4’r so we set off on the rock crawling adventure with a 13 year old boy, 8 year old girl and our dog! Between the trails and the view it is definitely something you will not want to miss!! There is a trail for just about every level ... if you are inexperienced I highly recommend finding a guide. The guide will make the trail ride enjoyable for you and your whole family! There are plenty of intense rock crawls on “slick rock” which is actually not slick at all. Scenic, panoramic views! There is little to no shade so make sure to pack sunscreen and plenty of water. We packed a lunch and stopped along the trail to eat. We were out there for 4-5 hours. Our Polaris Ranger had no trouble with the trail or the rocks, we took helmets for us but found several trail-goers going without. If you own a Jeep this trail is a MUST for you! The cost was $5 to enter the Park and this was THE highlight of our trip! There is also a 2nd trail within the park called “Fins and things” .... just as scenic and fun.

Thanks for showing us Hell's Revenge Big Iron Tours! Hell's Revenge no only offers adventure and fun, but beautiful scenery.

Great level 6 trail for us to experience. It was our first Cruise Moab event as they celebrated 25 years. We drove our land cruiser, but did not have enough gear to do Hell's gate, escalator, and staircase. Our vehicle is so much heavier than those OHV orJeep. Will definitely be back to tackle those obstacles---

You cannot visit Moab and not do this! It was the most memorable part of our road trip. We pre booked the “experience “ but it was far more than that. I cannot speak highly enough of this. Absolutely a must do. Loved it!!!!!

This is a "natural" rollercoaster and lots of fun!! We did not think we would be getting so vertical and speeding through the petrified sand dunes. A surprisingly fun experience!

We did Hell's Revenge in RZR's lead by Ultimate UTV. My husband drove the 2 seater which we were in, and he had NO experience driving a RZR, let along driving on boulders!!! He got a great tutorial from our tour guide Kyle, who lead us on such a fun trip. At the beginning of the trip, my husband was saying, "what the heck did I get us into", and at the end of the trip, he was saying, "wow, I really tested myself, and I'm proud of how I did." We took the sunset ride and it was such a great experience. Put this on your list of things to do while in Moab, you won't regret it.

I love "Hell's Revenge"! It's safe enough for beginners, yet there are enough obstacles to keep it fun for experienced rock crawlers. It's also close by town so you can drive over just to kill a couple hours if you have time left after a long day on a bigger trail. I highly recommend "Hell's Revenge"!

Danny at T Rex was our guide. It was fantastic. He did a fabulous job. Worth the $. Easy to drive as long as heights don’t bother you.

This trail is open to the pubic but it is serious business. A regular 4-wheel drive would not fair well. There were many modified jeeps and RZRs out there, many with experienced guides leading the way. We chose to go with Dan Mick's Jeep Tour and chose a tour with an experienced driver in "really" modified jeeps. The advantage to this was we were able to go down into Hell's Gate and back up Heaven's Staircase while others watched and filmed the ride!

If you're in Moab you HAVE to call and get a jeep tour through Hell's Revenge with Dan Mick, we rented 3 jeeps and had Dan, Curtis and Richard as our guides. Everyone laughed the entire day, it was indescribable. All the guides were so confident and made everyone feel very safe, the view was amazing. We got plenty of pictures and videos. I would HIGHLY recommend Dan Mick's tours to anyone!

Wow what an experience. I’ve been trail riding for years and this was top notch! Jason our guide could not have been better. Great young man and very knowledgeable.

Fun place had a great time. Sign up with tour and go a must do if in Moab will definitely go again if in area

our family did this with a guide from Moab Tour Company and it was a great trip. I can't believe how much fun this was and wish we would have had time to do it again.

Took our Jeeps through HR and had a blast! Make sure you're confident with the vehicle - not a good place to learn how to off road.

This was only the second time driving the slick rock trails in Moab. Our family loved Hell's Revenge the best. It's a great balance of thrills, challenge and amazing views.

What an experience...we road in a hummer with Chad from Moab Adventures. Not a trip for the faint of heart. This is the type experience that you tell your friends about?? Highly recommend and would do again. Recommend that you google Hell's Revenge so you know what you are getting into...but if you are adventures you will love it!!

On the last day at Moab, had to try a tough trail so headed out to tackle Hell’s Revenge in my Subaru Crosstrek. It was quite an adventure. Would recommend you rent a Jeep or take a tour.

Even if one is a little timid, the vehicles are incredible. The technology is fantastic. The Kawasaki ATVs are amazing

This was an amazing 2 hour sunset tour! The company actually picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel just out side of town. Our tour guide was amazing, knowledgeable, and fun. This was an adventure that started out a little scary, and by the end you were so jaded you just wanted to be more adventurous. That Hummer can do amazing stunts! The Hummer fit 12 and I would highly recommend this Company and this tour. Just do it. You won’t regret it. Check out the Kia Sorrento Commercial but just don’t think that car could have done what the Hummer did!

Awesome experience in Moab - Thrilling yet safe with magnificient views - A MUST DO in Moab - Best experience

My boyfriend and I did the tour with Woody as our tour guide! He was exceptional! I conquered some serious fears this trip with ease. He was very knowledgeable of the land and was very witty! Would highly recommend you do this on your trip! Make sure you also do the jet boat tour down the Colorado River and eat at Sunset Grill!

We had so much fun! My husband has wanted to drive like this on the slick rock and it did not disappoint! Many thanks to Kyle, our tour guide, who was excellent, and accommodated a request by another in the group to see Hell's Gate. Wow! I would not do that obstacle, but I would recommend this!

Hell's Revenge is a large area of petrified dune fields between the town of Moab and the Colorado River to the NE of Moab. While they are beautiful and interesting territory, there true significance to the Moab Experience is a course for off road 4X4 experiences. We visited the area with Moab Adventure Center in one of their large jeep trips. The rock hills created by the petrified dunes are perfect for this use as they provide a thrilling ride while at the same time a griping service for the vehicles. It really is beautiful country to see, especially the Colorado River Overlook that also shows you the southern end of Arches NP. However, it really is awesome to experience in some off road fashion.

We hiked this area and happened upon this spot! We had a great time watching all kinds of vehicles drive over absurdly steep terrain. We held our breath a lot and wondered if we needed to call a tow truck when one jeep got high centered. Great entertainment for the whole family. I would highly recommend for little ones since they aren't able to do a lot of the activities in Moab!

We went on a hells revenge tour with Rory from Twisted Jeeps. So happy we did the Jeeps. They were air conditioned during the hot month of July and gave my husband the chance to drive Hells Revenge. Experience of a life time. My kids loved it too!

We had a great time drivings UTVs on Hell’s Revenge. Ben was an awesome guide. It was a thrilling experience had by all couples. Thank you!

Purchased a tour from Moab Tour company. this was our 3rd time using this company. and we were NOT disappointed. Brought our adult son with us this time. He said this tour was the best part of our vacation.

Crazy drive! A great utv experience along places I would never have dreamed of driving. Definitely memorable.

So glad we did this get a jeep instead of in the hummer tour! We went up and down rock faces that the Hummers went around. It is unbelievable that vehicles can do with these guys had them do it even more unbelievable that we were in them while this was happening! This was really the most thrilling vehicle ride I have ever undertaken and our driver, Dave, was an old hand and put us at these most of the time. There were a few times where I know he was complicit in adding to the excitement though! Yeah step out of your comfort box and don’t miss a day and mix jeep tour in Hills revenge!

Not only did they have the most thrilling 3 hour ride, but Ben told us some of the best stories about cowboys and how the West became the West. I'd definitely recommend Ben as a tour guide for this.

Dan Mick's Jeep tours Hells Revenge was a highlight of our trip! Hells Revenge is a crazy experience so uniquely Utah! Try to do it! Not for elderly or very young kids though - rough riding but so exciting!

We signed up for a Jeep ride with a professional driver through Hell's Revenge and regretted it before we'd gotten too far. Even our roller-coaster-loving tween was just too scared, especially of the idea of being out on the trail after sunset (It was a sunset tour.). Our guide (Woody from Outlaw) was excellent and we had every confidence in him, but the idea of spending that much time scared did not appeal, so Woody kindly drove us back out and took us on a gentler sightseeing tour of some really lovely areas around Moab. I'm sure Hell's Revenge is fun for some--just make sure you know what you're getting into!

Fabulous. Hiked to Delicate Arch is really tough if you are not a hiker or do not work out regularly. However, it was well worth it and I am 77 and do not either work out or hike and it was really, really difficult for me. However, Delicate Arch was worth it. Absolutely amazing. People should not try the hike unless they have a minimum of 4 bottles of water per person.

Not for beginners on dirt bikes! Tire stick to it's drastic inclines and decents but they're wicked steep! Rated difficult.
Took my a few years to work up the courage to do it on my dirt bike. Razors make easy work of it.

Danny was our guide at T-Rex Hell's Revenge U-drive tours, and it was terrifying and exhilarating at the same time We are two aging adventurers, and Danny was patient and encouraging at all times, making the impossible seem possible and the sometimes frightening enjoyable. Company was prompt, organized and very friendly. Go for it!

We took a Hummer tour of Hell's Revenge with Moab Adventure Center and had a most remarkable time! Amazing scenery with some interesting trails!

First time experience with a 4x4 and it was awesome! Danny, the guide was exceptional, extremely courteous and fun all around. Very informative and educational as well. Can’t say enough good about him!!
The experience really got the adrenaline pumping and it is something to always remember. We have some great pictures too!

We took the sunset tour with Dan Mick on Hell's Revenge. It was awesome!!! Our driver was Curtis and he was great. We were in a group of three jeeps and part of the entertainment was getting to watch the others do what you had just done. I'm afraid my jeep at home will never be the same if I let my husband near it after this outing!! It's crazy what these rides can do. Beautiful stop for sunset. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this adventure. Well worth the price.

This was a tick off of our bucket list for sure!!! Our guide was great, friendly & knowledgeable and just follow what he says it’s as simple as that! We did a sunset drive which was exhilarating snd the stop offs along the way were amazing for photo’s! We had a great time and highly recommend to anyone thinking of doing it!!

Everything about this tour was amazing and probably one of the most exciting things I've ever done. The ride starts off right away with a thrilling ride up a narrow cliff. There is no dull moment from there. Not only is the ride thrilling but it offers some amazing views that rival those in the parks. Our tour guide Lucky was amazing. I don't think I would have been as comfortable or relaxed with our this confidence and guidance. I would 100 do this tour again and would recommend it to anyone looking for an adrenaline boot.

Trip was a Hummer Sunset Tour by Moab Adventures. The company knows how to put on a show. So much fun!! Drinks/snacks provided. Well trained, was not scary!

Great landscape, great geological features and an amazing 4x4 adventure! We were here during jeep week...what a trip...fun to watch folks navigate some of the roads...or off roads.....

We visited this site as part of a Hummer Safari trip in the Sand Flats of Moab. It is very interesting and exciting to visit when combined with the excellent Hummer tour.

Book with the professionals who made the Hells Revenge trail, they are the absolute best. Dan is the father and he made this trail. His son Richard is amazing and everyone who works there are the best drivers. This was the highlight of our trip. Richard made us feel at ease and very safe. These guys are all so accommodating and skilled. Don’t go anywhere else, you won’t be sorry.

Great way to explore! Guide was knowledgeable and ride was an exciting way to spend a morning. Highly recommend and a must-do!

This is an absolute must do when in Moab. We toured with Dan and Mick and our guide was Robby...he was awesome.

Was scary and exciting at the same time. Craig a great driver and has a neat personality. Recommend highly

My brother and I were on a Bucket List trip and this aspect of our trip was the most fun yet! At times I thought it was impossible to tackle some of the obstacles we encountered.

We spent a couple hours out on the slick rock in a mostly stock 86 XJ. I was surprised to see very little traffic. In fact, other than a couple of tour groups which were parked when I passed, I didn't actually see anyone on the trail at all.
I spent years looking at this area from the perspective of Easter Jeep Safari videos and always thought it was going to be super crowded. I'm very glad this was not the case, and I was there on the weekend.

Amazing experience! Kristin was a very fun and memorable instructor. She did a great job despite unforeseeable weather.

Don't try this at home! Wicked trail for modified Jeeps and ATVs. Stunning views and cool dinosaur tracks, but the real attraction is the thrill of the ride.

3 hour utv trip. Amazing views, thrilling UTV ride and knowledgeable guide through Moab Tour Company, Eric was our guide

We did this trail in my friend's custom Jeep and it was awesome. We couldn't believe how close to town it was nor that it is only $5 for a day-use pass! After you pass the ranger gate the trail starts abruptly right out of the parking lot. It is a tremendously unique and varied path with some technical spots, some sand, some challenging climbs and some white knuckle descents. And the views all around you and with Arches National Park in the distance are amazing. We stopped to watch - but did not attempt - Hell's Gate and Mickey's Hot Tub. Talk about challenging obstacles! After a few quick photos at the River Overlook, we headed back to town. We were laughing and smiling ear to ear the whole 3 hours we were out on the trail. If you own a Jeep and enjoy off-roading this is a must do!

Big iron tours.com was incredible! Mike was the best and the “Pain Train” was unbelievable. Great time in slick rock and recommend this group highly. Not just a Jeep tour, it was a “bucket list” great time!

We toured this area in a UTV from a tour company. The climbs up and down the many fins were exhilarating, blowing through the sandy patches was fun, and the views of the surrounding area, including the Colorado River, were fantastic. However, my wife hated this since she has a fear of heights and, since she sat in the back, she couldn't see where we were going and couldn't brace herself well against the many bumps along the way. Those who have a fear of heights or experience intense motion sickness should not attempt this area in any vehicle.
Our UTV was a six seater and had a longer wheelbase than most UTVs, which meant that we hit bottom fairly often, but we never got stuck. Those who like intense driving will love it though!

Took our 3 kids and a had a blast!! We have 4 wheel drives, jeeps and atvs at home but never have we experienced this kind of fun!!!! Highly recommend!!!!

This adventure was amazing. The route starts out rite to the point with a climb to the sun . bring you to some of the most spectacular views . couple of stops along the way to enjoy the view. Our tour guide Kevin was great at laying out some fun lines to drive . couple of times along the way the vehicle was 90 degrees with the ground. Now thats some good old fashoned family fun. Would recommend full heartedly. Something you will always remember

Thrilling, 4x4 adventure!!! Absolutely the most fun going over, up, and down mountains, rocks, and boulders! Speeding through the sand pits was super fun too!! Going through the gates of Hell scared the bejesus out of me!! Our driver took us on the tough stuff, but the Hummer tours went "around". They even stopped and got out to watch us do the crazy stuff that only a Jeep can do
Robbie was an amazing guide and driver!! He was just the right amount of whatever you want him to be, crazy/thrilling or maybe a little more not so crazy.

It was a lot of fun, Ben our tour guide, was great. You’ll have an exciting time and you see a lot of cool stuff.😀 You will see dinosaur 🦖 tracks and stone sculptures that look like a wiseman. You’ll have a blast and trust me you won’t regret it.

I cannot believe what we just did!! This was a crazy fun tour up and down rocks you’d never believe you could climb in an atv! Such amazing views and once in a lifetime trails! Ben, our guide, was incredible!! Super kind and informative!

This is a must do! My husband and I just did a FABULOUS sunset guided Jeep Tour last night.
A friend had recommended Dan Mick’s Jeep Tours and after reading so many excellent reviews, I knew they were the ones to do this with.
Dan’s eldest son, Robbie, picked us up, gave us LOTS of information and made sure that we enjoyed every single minute. Having an expert take us out gave us the chance to enjoy the scenery and take amazing pictures. The ride was a blast and the scenery was more than spectacular!
We had the pleasure of traveling along with another one of their Jeeps, driven by Dan’s brother, Curtis who had a nice Italian family with him. We saw how this company treats their customers, so it’s no wonder that they are the best in town.

This was Mike's (Dan MIke's) view while he was guiding me through Hell Revenge, is amazing his knowledge and experience and how he pass it on, was very refreshing experience, also he allowed me to ride with him to do Mickey's Hot Tub and was extraordinary, I recommend all of you call Dan Mike really worth each penny, the experience will be far or beyond expectations I ensure you it.

Unbelievable... if you have your own 4x4 go, or take a tour, but see it. One of the best top 5 things to do in Moab.

If you only have the opportunity to do one trail, be sure to do Hell's Revenge. It offers just a little bit of everything. Photo opportunities, all types of terrains, and EXCITEMENT. You can not go wrong with this choice.

We went with Jeff out of Moab Tours today. Hell’s revenge. We understand now why everyone rants and raves about this trip. It was fabulous. We could have stayed out there for probably three more hours. Highly recommend!!!

We decided to ride with a guide. I was able to take photos that way and learn about the area from the guide/driver. This is an intense activity which shouldn't be missed. The views and terrain were amazing. There is an option to drive a razr, which I will do next time. Our guide " Woody" was outstanding. Ask for him

Don was a great guide. Loved it. If you are not an experienced off road person, don’t worry. They will take care of you

Luke was a great tour guide for the High Point Hummer Tours. His driving skills were safe and knowledgeable in the 7 ton hummer. He was kind to offer to take photos often, told great stories and taught us about dinosaurs and the history of the area. He offered snacks and water to keep us hydrated. If you are looking for a guide with a positive outlook on life that loves his job- request Luke.

Great time with Clint as our tour guide for the 4x4 jeep tour Hells Revenge. So glad we booked this sunset tour and really was a great time for the whole family. Highly recommend!

I did this with Xtreme 4x4. I would highly recommend. I would not do this solo for one thing you will miss some thrilling events because they are not marked by tire tracks like most of them.

We were only in Moab a day and a half coming from Park City so we were really looking forward to a little 4x4 outdoor adventure. Boy did we get it! Ben was our tour guide and was a lot of fun and knowledgeable. He lead us up steep rocky trails and stopped at some key sites for pictures and shared some local history with us. This tour was NOT what I expected, it was BETTER! My husband drove because I just wanted to enjoy the crazy ride and spectacular views! The 4x4’s themselves are in great shape and are amazing vehicles to be able to handle such rough terrain! This is a must do if you come to Moab! You will not be disappointed!

I love that these rocks are called Sand Flats! Are you kidding? There is nothing flat about this trip! And what a trip! Hang on to your seatbelts. This is the land of extreme off roading and adventure. We rode in a Hummer with Moab Adventure Center. Shout out to Craig, the best Hell's Revenge Driver in Moab! The trip was full of fun, camaraderie, adventure, amazing lookout points, and information about the geology of the region. Loved the overlook of the Colorado River . We returned under the stars, with lightning flashing in the distance. The stuff dreams are made of! Wow!!!!!!!!

AMAZING views and challenging rock climbing. Incredible and AWESOME place. A MUST in Moab! Beautiful scenery of Colorado River and Trail is nicely marked with diamonds. Highly recommend!

We rented a 4 seater side by side and headed out for the day. This trail isn't for the beginner, steep climbs, drop offs and amazing scenery. Allow at least 4 hours to really enjoy the entire route

We took this trip not knowing what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of action and adventure. Or two guys then is great. He stopped at multiple places and explain to us about the history of the area. Thank you Ben.

We are part of the over 50 crowd and it's so much fun for the young and us (sort of older). We come back every couple of years and enjoy it every time. Some areas are challenging, some are just fun. Love it here in Moab!

Hell's Revenge was exciting, fun and scary as hell! There are many companies offering Jeep or Hummer tours and the way these vehicles manage to stay attached to the ground is nothing short of magic! Many times I thought we were going to flip over for sure and my husband and son really enjoyed hearing me scream. Did I mention that I am terrified of heights? When it was all said and done, I loved it and would do it again! We used Moab Adventure Center and their drives are very entertaining and experienced. You have to give it a try!

Did the sunset tour with Ultimate UTV in Moab. Guide was Gage. Highly recommend this company and do not miss this trilling ride.

Brandy was amazing and such a great experience. This was the most fun I’ve had in years. At first there was a fear, but once you get the hang of it you don’t want the trip to end. Don’t think twice, just book it. Will be the best $ spent.

Had a blast riding here. Met so many wonderful people out on the tails, location very clean, great atmosphere.

This is a must do activity. We were unprepared for how much cliffhanging would be involved in this drive, but, despite our initial butterflies, we had a great driver who got us into it and by the end, we were absolutely thrilled with the experience.

Amazing family experience with kids in our group from ages 3-9. Jesse was an awesome guide and made sure everyone had a good time and felt comfortable. Would highly recommend!

initially I didn't know what to expect. The tour tu seerned out to be exceptional. Ben was a very very good guide. He added a certain cowboyflare to the tour. I would highly recommend that anybody that's interested in an off-road adventure take this trip well worth it and very reasonably priced.

Great trail for offroading. Was able to complete it in a Rubicon with 35 inch tires. We did not try the Hell's Gate obstacle.

We took the Sunset Hummer trip with our teen daughters and had SUCH a great time! Our driver was Mike and he was funny, 'risky' and yet very safe! He knew what he was doing. It's like a 3 hour slow roller coaster - I highly recommend it!

We had Jesse for a tour guide, he was amazing, funny, and had a lot of cool facts. The trip was unreal, we’re not huge tour guide people but this was absolutely great!

But...I’m so glad I did! Excursion was on a brand new Jeep Rubicon booked thru Sorrel River Ranch. The driver was Disco Dave and OMG...from the flawless sound track he played at the precisely perfect times...to his wealth of humor and display of aptitude and knowledge of the environment was top notch!! Three plus hours of unabashed FUN....plus quite a few screams and squeals!

You must do this with a professional driver who will be able to take you up and down all the canyons and make you disappear into a hole only to appear at the other end - all in one piece! Totally insane!

We had a total blast on this Sunset, 3 hour, Side - by - Side 4x4 tour. Our guide was always focused on our total safety and took the time to provide clear and concise instructions on how and where to maneuver on the rocks and climbs. WE LOVED IT!!!

This was a fantastic trip. Our guide Kyle was friendly and informative. We loved driving our own vehicles - It was exhilarating but we felt safe the whole time.

Incredible experience. Sensations guaranteed. To do.
Our guide Mike shared his passion and knowledge of the region with us. Just perfect.
Thanks Mike

Amazing, fun, great guides, highly recommend. Perfect for all ages, a little scary at times but always in a safe way.

We'd driven T-Rex 4x4's in Kaua'i but this time we were driving on major rocks! Honestly, it was a bit frightening, but it felt great! Guide Doran was thorough in his instruction, kept a close eye on the party, ans stopped at scenic viewpoints. We saw dinosaur fossil tracks, amazing scenery, and a beautiful sunset. Meet at the easy-to-find Tourism center. We all wore fun helmets, and souvenirs are available. This activity was a confidence builder for us, and we felt a sense of accomplishment upon successfully returning to the parking lot. We would go on any tour with this group. Water is provided.

We booked 3 UTV’s for the 3 hour tour....omg so much fun. Our guide Dusty ( or Dustin) was awesome. He took the time explaining everything about the UTV and some of the trails. Some of the hell’s revenge rock trails were pretty steep and he explained how to negotiate the hills and how to go over the rocks safely...it was a wonderful tour and would highly recommend them.

Loved going through Hell’s revenge with Dan Mick Jeep tours. I had read that they will take the hardest obstacles and they will stay the latest, so that’s why I chose them. Beautiful scenery and park definitely worth the ride!

The jeeps and guides are beyond knowledgeable and fun. The sunset experience is completely an E ride and so much fun - just do it and book early!!

This trail is amazing. It does start and end at the same location now just FYI the signs have not been changed yet. The track was easy to follow and well marked but is easy to lose at night.

Fun and adventurous scenery. Take a guided Jeep tour. I recommend Dan Mick's tours as they are one of the few companies that go up Hells Gate. Might be scary at first but worth it. Amazing and will go again.

We booked a tour with Dan Mick's Jeep tours - and it was a fantastic experience. Dan took us to places we never thought a vehicle could do. I have been to Moab many times before - and therefore know the "standard" places - so for a nice change I asked "a local" - hells revenge did it for us. We really enjoyed the ride and the company. Thank you Dan

Easy access to the trails, beautiful views, challenging trails, and dinosaur tracks. What else could you ask for?

It was easy, nice views and it was very popular. Seemed like an amusement ride. I can't imagine what it would be like when it gets busy!

Went on a sunset cruise with Brian as our guide. Great fun. Amazing what those Hummers can go over. Not for the faint hearted.

Great test of some serious 4-wheel driving fun. It's hard to believe the terrain an H1 Hummer or Jeep can tame.

OMG… not for the timid of heart . My husband loved driving the UTV but was glad we had a guide. Would never attempt the climbing of boulders or dipping down into canyon/sand traps without a guide. Once on top of rock formations, the view was spectacular!!! The experienced driver made it fun !!!

Named after Moabite Local girl that grew up in Moab named Mickey C. This obstacle is not for the faint hearted. It's good to have a spotter in this one. 5 stars.

Wow. We can clearly see why this is top rated. It was a fantastic tour. Never did this kinda tour before so we just trusted the machine. Amazing terrain. What a memory for our 40th wedding anniversary trip. So glad we did it. We signed up for a sundowner tour and enjoyed the sunset while on a vista. Perfect ending to our day.

Devon from Dan Micks Jeep Tours made it look and feel easy. Devon was great. So were the Rubicans we wheeled in.

What a wild adventure! Our family had never done anything like this before, and Ben, our guide, made us feel very comfortable and safe, like family. Imagine taking a go kart on Mars. Then speed that up! I'm one who's scared of everything, but this was a blast. I even drove the thing! I will never forget the experience, or Ben. He's the best!

Holy crap that was wicked!!! I only watched them as they went up it. I was holding my breath for them... It was awesome!

Jesse, our tour guide, made this an exciting adventure for this leery grandma! He was friendly and knowledgeable and you could tell he enjoys showing visitors this part of Utah. If you’re looking for an exciting and exhilarating experience, Hell’s Revenge is the tour for you!

Hell's Revenge is an iconic 4x4 adventure that should definitely be added to your Moab, Utah bucket-list! We elected to reduce the driving stress by using Xtreme 4x4 and experienced a THRILLING 3 hour morning tour with Dave our driver. He took us up and down Hell's Gate, Escalator and Mickey's Hot Tub to name a few! You simply won't believe you are in a vehicle that is getting "in" and "out" of these petrified sand dune formations! WOW, what an adventure!

great trails. lots of fun. nice warm up trail. most of it not to hard. steep climbs. steep drops. some nice challenges.

Did the Sunset Tour with Dan Mick's and fully enjoyed it. I would recommend this company over others, which seem more commercial. Dan Mick's was the first to run the tour and your driver is either a close friend or family member - the "real thing", the outdoors man.

Once you are comfortable with what the machine can do it is not as scary but man, what a start!! No easing into it for sure. Ben was a great tour guide making sure the group stayed together and lots of good stories at the stops. Definitely steep inclines and downhills along with very rocky terrain and sandy areas to go through. They provided plenty of water. Only thing I wish I had taken was a towel for the seat. Being in July it was of course quite hot on the noon tour and even though the stops out of the vehicle are short, that seat heats up in a hurry. If you are wearing shorts, I’d bring a towel to sit on. A bit nerve racking for me but my husband had a blast and the views at the stops were excellent.

Went through Moab Adventure Center and took a hummer tour of the Sand Flats. Ask for George. It was very fun but safe. He was very informative. We loved it.

The thrill starts right at the gate with a narrow entrance. After that its all up/down and beautiful scenery,

Such an amazing experience. Our guide, Nick gave great backstories on the history of the area in which we explored. Although it was an exhilarating ride (to say the least), we developed a tremendous amount of trust in Nick’s ability to maneuver the vehicle and hills that we climbed. He timed our sunset perfectly. The experience was one our group of four seniors will never forget. Thanks for the memories!

We utilized High Point for this tour and our guide Canyon was great. He took that Hummer to places one would not think it could go. He was a terrific driver and gave us good informationa nd answered all out questions. Loved it!

Probably most popular trail for tours. Know your limits and the limits of your vehicle especially when pursuing obstacles like Mickey's Hot Tub and Hell's Gate.

Placed a review for Dan Mick’s Jeep Tours...check it out! Dan Mick’s Jeep Tour 3 hour Sunset tour with Curtis as your driver will get your heart thumping!

One of the best activities I've ever done on vacation. With that being said, I would do it again in a heartbeat. Our driver, Nick, had a great sense of humor making our adventure lots of fun. We all felt very comfortable with his driving skills. I highly recommend Hell's Revenge Jeep Tours. Can't wait to go back and do it again!

Wonderful way to see the higher country. Amazing ride, plenty of excitement, experienced driver helped.

Went a second time on Hell's Revenge. Lots of fun! Guide had us pose in his fun pictures for our phone camera. Saw a dinosaur track. Excellent personable guide. Would go again!!!!

Go with Dan Micks and do not get the hummers or do it yourself, you will miss the best obstacles on the latter two. We were so glad we did.

ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT! I don’t do much off roading and this was soooo much fun! Being able to climb the rocks and see some more breathtaking views that you can only get to by UTV or bike. 100000% recommend!

This was a thriller. It's also fun watching others come up Hell's gate/ Great trails and marked. We also did the Car wash which was fun.

Drove this route in UTV with Moab Tour Company. Incredible to see the UTVs, Jeeps, and Trucks scale the rocks as they did! Took a little getting use to realizing what you could do in a UTV, but after a little while we were hard charging the lines and turned out to be the most fun activity we did in Moab!

Fun worth every minute!! Thank you Robbie if Dan Mick Jeep tours!!! Definitely would do the all day trip! The sunset was fabulous for end of year we lucked out with beautiful view and a fun trip, words and pictures can't describe!

We hiked the National Parks and wanted a different "Moab Experience". We contacted Travis and set up a ride on The Beast the next afternoon. The ride was 3 hours and 100% fun. Travis drove us to Hell's Revenge and then showed up how much fun the Jeeping experience can be. We were in the hands of an expert driver and on a rig that is ONE of a kind. If you are in Moab, I would highly recommend contacting Travis.

Ben took us on an amazing adventure! We had a blast. We left at 8:15 a.m. and finished around 11:30. Great family excursion

Our tour guide Ben was an awesome guide for our tour. My family all had fun!
This trip offers an exciting and safe adventure. Would recommend to any family, couple, or group seeking an adventure.

If you do Hell's Revenge, make sure you do the entire loop as the end has some awesome wheeling. You will be tempted to turn around and not go out the alternate exit, but stick with it and you will not be disappointed. Also, make sure you do the river overlook, it is a long route to get their but a fun drive. Without the exit and the river overlook, it is just driving on the tall big rocks, not real challenging unless you don't like heights.

We did Hell's Revenge as part of a Range Rover group event. My husband had driven it several times years ago. We saw many guided tours. I wouldn't recommend doing this trip solo unless you have a lot of previous off roading experience. It was helpful to have a others to help make suggestions on how to tackle the more difficult hills, etc.

This adventure was above and beyond expectations! The guide, Danny, showed us the best hells revenge had to offer, and kept us safe the whole journey. The ride was beautiful and showed nature well. Worth every penny!!!

My favorite is the many Hummer tours offered in Moab. Many companies provide guided tours, jeeps, UTV's and Extreme 4X4's. Stars and Views are breathtaking...

Rode here for a few days during the week. Was hot in Aug with temps over 100 degrees by mid-day. Awesome views along the marked trail (painted on the rocks). You could take a dual sport bike here with no problems.

Husband & I did the Hummer Sunset Tour with Moab Adventure Center. Had no idea what we were in for! So much fun at a near 90 degree angle! With 20 pounds of pressure in the tires, those vehicles hug the fins. What a way to begin our stay in Moab! The new Kia TV commercial gives you an idea of this Hell’s Revenge adventure...remarkable!!

Hell’s revenge was a unique experience for us. We went with the Moab Tourism Center and loved it. A bit harrowing but a blast. It was freezing though. Pay attention and follow your guide. It is truly a lot of fun but can be dangerous too.

The ability to drive your own UTV. It was just scary enough. Ben was our guide, he provides a great tour, knowing a lot of local history he was very interesting. The length of the tour was perfect. Good value for the money. Don’t miss it

This is a THRILL RIDE 4X4 Trail, but just to let you know it's VERY CROWDED and "FOLLOW THE LEADER" From Start to Finish.. One of the Most popular Tourist Attractions In Moab so Have Patients and ENJOY THE Natural Roller Coaster Ride!

What a awesome place I could just be out there forever! So many beautiful sites and the extreme 4x4 tour was the way to see it!!

Awesome, awesome fun night!! Lucky our guide was the best, we experienced and drove places i never thought we could or would! They give a safe, yet exciting tour in the desert seeing different areas! Loved it! Would do this adrenaline rush again.

We had a great time on this tour.I will say this is definitely for thrill seekers.although I have virtually no off roading experience, our guide, doren was super helpful and knowledgeable and made our trip exciting and safe.Danger level is high on this experience. Its amazing what the side by side ATV's can do.If its excitement your looking for, this is definitely it.Steep climbs and descents with little to no margin of error.

Without doubt the ride of a lifetime!!! But you MUST have Jeff at the wheel from Sorrel River Ranch!

We had booked a 4x4 off-roading trip through Hell’s Revenge with Wild River Expeditions. Molly, the driver, picked us up in a modified H1 Hummer and gave us a fantastic thrill ride up and down some steep inclines, through narrow crevasses and speeding over some dusty sandy areas. A wonderful vista 200ft down to the Colorado River and a view on the desert sunset were the highlights of the trip. Highly recommend!

Not for the faint of heart, but great experience for those who want to take a jeep off the beaten path. In Moab for the national parks, but a great side adventure! We used Twisted Jeep rentals and so happy with our experience

Woody my man! (Our guide) What a fantastic trip! We enjoyed every minute of it. You were right, Moab is the capital of 4x4 trails. Just awesome and tense!

We rented from Moab Tour a Polaris Razor, you can bring your own razor or jeep. somewhat crowded but exciting. very affordable camping, although we didn't do that as i imagine riders start pretty early here.

What an amazing adventure this was. Riding in and driving the UTV was so much fun but also a bit scary when climbing up the narrow fins to the top — or coming back down. The views are amazing. We went in the early evening to enjoy cooler temps and the sunset. BEAUTIFUL!

Hell's Revenge is well-named. 75% grades uphill in some spots.
a lot of fun. we met some experienced folks that helped us get through challenging spots. All jeepers folks are friendly.

Had our son driving and he was way more daring than my husband would have been. Lots of fun! Just be brave and go on the journey.

Just completed hells revenge with the moab cowboy. Moab cowboy is run by a couple who have lived in moab for 5 generations. After the operating instruction, we were off. First hill, unreal, total white knuckle, and that basically was constant for nearly 3 hours. A few breaks to look at dinosaur tracks. The Colorado river and sunset.
This is a MUST do in moab, and the moab cowboy was the perfect fit for our family. You will not regret it.

You do some serious rock climbing on this adventure. But you feel really safe. The hummer seems to stick to the rocks- no slippage.

One of the coolest things we’ve ever done. Travis was awesome and made the experience so fun for our entire family. He went out of his way to make us comfortable and make it fun for all ages. We would do it again in a heartbeat. Definitely book a tour- you won’t regret it.

Excellent, Sunset ride, came in just as Sun was setting.
Stimulating ride, but seemed completely safe.
Tom, our guide did an excellent job keeping us informed, on what to expect next.
He pointed out the dinosaur tracks along the route.
Showed us the very difficult passage of Hell's Gate, but we did not traverse.

We booked a trip with the Moab Adventure Center. Rode in big hummers with another family. Our driver was excellent and knew cool history and natural facts about the area. My daughter was 8 and thoroughly enjoyed the ride

We really enjoyed our tour with Moab Adventure center! Our Guide drove through Hells Revenge and gave us a real thrill ride on the petrified sand flats. He pointed out dinosaur tracks at the end with stunning views at sunset. We also toured Arches National Park at sunset, biking Dead Horse Point and a boat tour! Hands down the best trip to memory....we will be back!,

You don't need any special training to drive this, and it's the most fun we had! Bill was a great lead driver. He knows all about the area, and he's just awesome. Don't miss this tour!

Dan Mick is the originator of the trails, including the famous Hell’s Gate. If you’re going to use a guided tour, I recommend doing it with the best. His company is family based. His son Robert was our guide and we had a blast! Not only was the trail fun, the information about his family and their connection to the trail was great!

Amazing trip over wicked terrain. Fun and full of surprises. Driver was extremely knowledgeable about the area, been doing it for 15 years.

I cannot believe that I did this jeep tour! completely outrageous! If it had not been for Curtis with Dan Mick's Jeep Tours, I could never have completed this! It is a heart stopper for sure!

Never a dull moment we went with Big Iron Tours very informative with Hells revenge will go back and see again if in the area

Super cool experience. Jesse was a wonderful guide - top notch. Worth the money for sure. Be sure you have a confident driver not afraid of heights.

2 Hour Hummer H1 ride booked through and with Moab Adventure Center and loved every minute of it. My wife and I absolutely loved it.

This is the place for you if you have young kids and want to have fun! Our kids are 9, 11, and 13 and they had a blast! Ben the tour guide was full of stories and we enjoyed learning about Moab’s history. Do NOT do this tour if you are 18-30 and looking to go full throttle. This is a slow and steady tour. Very safe and great for families!

A must do in Moab! We rented jeeps from Twisted Jeeps and decided to tackle Hells Revenge. It was an adrenaline rush for sure and was fun to see other off roaders.

We took a Jeep tour of the area which has trails for off road vehicles, mountain bikes, and motorcycles. The Sand Flats is a challenging area no matter what type of vehicle you choose.

Ever climb a rock that you could not climb on foot - but do it in an ATV? Ever say, “there is no way” and then do it? In Moab, you can rent an ATV and go on a guided trip through some the most incredible backcountry you have ever encountered. We did the sunset tour, it was great.

We don't own an off-road vehicle, but used Outlaw Jeep Tours and had THE TIME OF OUR LIVES on Hell's Revenge. We got to drive one of their tricked-out Rubicons and it was scary/fun all the way. You've got to experience it to believe it. Went all the way to the Colorado River overlook and back. Even went through Hell's Gate. Want to do it again, and again!

If you go one place in your USA road trip, go to Moab. If you do one trip in Moab do Danmick sunset tours. All of us, Mum Dad, teenage boy and girl, loved every second of this roller coaster ride. Ask for Layne, he is so charming.

Kyle was a great tour guide! He was interesting, funny, and knew so much about the area. The sunset at the end of the trail overlooking the Colorado River was gorgeous and led to some amazing photos. The experience was fun and exciting (and a little bit scary at times)! We have nothing to say besides positives!

We had a great tour, our guide was fun, safe and informative. We road the path with our 3 kids, it was a great time.

Would recommend the sunset tour. Beautiful views! We used Dan Mick Jeep Tours and had a great time. Guides/drivers were experienced, knowledgeable and fun.

Our family (kids ages 7 and 9) took the Hells’s Revenge tour with Craig. We did the 1pm tour and even though the temp in Moab was sunny and low 90’s, it was comfortable during the tour. Craig was incredible - great with kids, funny, and very knowledgeable about the area. And he knew every turn on that route like he could drive it blindfolded. Highly recommend this tour!

Go with Xtreme 4X4 for a wonderful tour with expert drivers who will give you a wonderful experience!

This trail is unbelievable! The first incline you must go up will have you holding your breath. Several other areas do the same. Numerous times you wonder what lies on the other side of the hill. Definitely not a trail for someone that hasn't had much experience in driving 4x4. It says an average of 2 hours. If you are willing to fly through it, that is a stretch. We took most of the day to enjoy and experience the views.

All of it was amazing!!! Recommend doing the early ride.... cool, beautiful light, and less traffic on the rock!!!
Make sure Ben is your guide.... he is the Best!!

I never had SO MUCH FUN going 3 MPH! Plan on spending all day here. If you love your truck or Jeep you won't want to leave.

We rode with Dan Mick on Hell's Revenge. So spectacular. He is the original of the Moab Jeep experiences. You shouldn't miss this opportunity

I took the Humvee tour with HIgh Point tours. Great guide and service. Definitely a Bucket List thing to do.

We experienced the hell’s revenge sunset trip with the legendary Dan!
It was Amazing! Dan is a perfect and joyfull guide! Let be enterteined by the history of the place. We have fun during all the trip! Really appreciated his hilarity and kindness!
Really raccomended!
Thanks Dan!

My wife and I did this trail with a local friend who had been up a couple of times. No prior off-road experience. Quite an adventure. Certainly NOT for the feint of heart. The entrance is narrow and pretty terrifying, and there are numerous hills where you cannot see the top, or the bottom, and many areas where the boulders were pretty rough. We did a half-day rental of a RZR1000 and had not trouble with enough power; the only difficulty I had was in my mind, believing the vehicle could do what was required. If you have heart problems, you should not approach this activity. Unless expert, stay away from Hell’s Gate and the Hot Tubs. If you want some serious adventure, and are not under the influence of any substance, this would be the top of the list.

Incredible and exhilarating experience. Immensely enjoyed the experience. Kind of scary at first, but after a few times up and down the rocks, the apprehension went away. Great views. Our guide was the best. Knowledgeable about the area and its history. Great sense of humor. Just an all-around great experience.

Great experience and something to check off the bucket list. Moab Utah is a beautiful area to visit. Planned to stay 2 days and extended it to see more.

I booked this tour mostly for my sons and husband. I was scared to death but it was crazy and fun. The hummer driver was friendly and very funny. It was amazing that a vehicle loaded down with people could climb up and over rocks. Spectacular view of the Colorado River.

Took a private Jeep tour, highly remind. Booked it thru Sorrel River Ranch with Jeff. I recommend taking a Jeep tour first and than if you want to take a different vehicle fine

This ride is full of fun and a must ride it is amazing and we do it everytime we go to moab. It a must ride

It has a great overlook of the Colorado River! The sunset was beautiful! The trail was even more perfect!

I went with Twisted Jeep, and my guide drove. What an awesome way to see what a Jeep can do, and see what Moab has to offer in terms of its amazing landscape. We even saw dinosaur footprints along the way!

This was so much more fun than simply driving single file at 2mph. You actually get to ride the rocks the way the big jeeps do but in UTVs. Tons of fun and great way to see slickrock.

We had a great time on our UTV excursion- at times it was scary and I felt like we could fall off the edge at times, but it was also so fun! My husband and I each took turns driving over the 2 hours. Loved the beautiful scenery and watching the sunset. Moab is definitely a level above any other UTV ride we have ever taken. Overall- had a great time.
Only con was:
We signed several waivers and were promised to be briefed on safety measures before the ride. The safety instructions never happed. All we were told was “put your tires where the vehicle in front of you does.”
Also would have liked to have earphones/radio so we can hear and talk to the leader like some of the other tours did.

You know that feeling you get at the top of a roller coaster...half dread and half elation? That’s the best way I can describe heading into Hell’s Revenge. Fortunately we were with Dan Mick himself and he immediately put us at ease and ramped up the fun factor with his great driving, outstanding equipment, and running banter. I’m sure the other companies do a fine job, but there is something about going through this course with someone with a ton of gray hair and stories to match that makes it that much more fun. We did it at sunset which was fine, but trips during the day are probably even better.

If you don’t have your own capable vehicle, this is very worth doing with a Guide. Don’t sell yourself short with a service that tip toes around the hardest obstacles. You can literally see Hummers full of people missing out. Pay to do it Right. Pay to do the real and full Hell’s Revenge. I’d recommend Dan Micks, but no matter who you use, make sure you find out if you are getting the real deal before you book.

This is a nice trail for those who are driving their own rigs or taking a jeep tour! We brought our own and it wasn't anything too difficult. The beginning portion is a little intimidating but the rest of the trail was fairly easy for us. We tried most of the obstacles except for the hot tubs. Would definitely recommend this trail to anyone! Depending on your capabilities you could run the trail quickly or take your time as we did to enjoy the views.

I am a 50 yo mom traveling with 2 young teen boys and this was most memorable activity we did during our week stay in Moab. I wasn’t real cracked up about driving because I was tired, after driving across 3 states, hiking all day, also have some fear of heights etc etc but the ride along guide vehicle was already full- and I was determined to show my boys a good time -so I had to drive.
Sean Paul was very clear and simple in his instruction and treated me just like all the other male drivers in our group.
Long story short- I rocked the intense drive up Devils Backbone and Hell’s Revenge and my teen boys think I am a bad ass for life thanks to Sean Paul. I am so glad that I got to drive. I just really appreciated the way we were treated. His experienced instruction, knowledge of the landscape, vegetation (including the pistachio trees lol) and history of the area I would highly recommend this Hell’s Revenge excursion with Sean Paul during your stay in Moab.

A must do! Ben our guide was friendly & knowledgeable. The ride itself was WILD!!!! A lot of fun and very beautiful.

Hell's Revenge is a blast! It's pretty technical, so don't expect to go fast and bring lots of water, but you'll have a great time and get to see some beautiful views!

We drove though the park to see what it’s like. Was fairly empty but neat to see some of the thing at the park

Not for the faint of heart this is a wild ride. Our guide was not only fantastic driving us through the heart stopping trails, he gave great information on the region.

Our son rented a jeep once and went off-road all over the area around Moab. He raved about the experience. Not to be outdone, my wife and I, once we retired, decided to take on Hell's Revenge, although we did so in a Hummer driven by a great guide on a Moab Adventure Center Sunset Tour. It was plenty exciting without having to drive ourselves. I didn't even know that a vehicle could navigate those rocks. This was probably the most exhilarating experience of our three-week trip to the Southwest. It included a stop overlooking the Colorado River and a snack above the valley in which Moab lies. These tours are not cheap, but the thrill is worth it. We tried to convince our son that we drove ourselves around Hell's Revenge, but he wasn't buying it.

Great tour for all ages. Jesse was awesome, a good storyteller and very attentive. The route includes a lot of beautiful scenery. Not for the faint-hearted.

Had no idea what we were getting into but absolutely loved Hell’s revenge. We used Moab Tourism Center and had an excellent experience. Be prepared for a bumpy but incredibly fun ride!

Excellent trails that are mostly well marked. The views are awesome from all around the park. There are times when it can be very busy but we were there in the evening and traffic was light so we never had to wait in line to climb obstacles.

Had a great excursion with Moab Cowboy. Guide/operator Kent was very knowledgeable and experienced. Excellent guide, historian, cowboy and generally interesting guy. Have us just the right amount of instruction to make us comfortable, yet independent.

We rented side by sides from town in Moab and headed out to this area. Great riding, many trails...Hell's revenge is one of the more extreme ones, definitely some adrenaline!

Ben gave my husband and me an amazing tour of the Moab. The trip was incredibly exciting and fun, and the views were gorgeous. Ben was a great guide and had tons of interesting stories about the area. Highly recommend this!

We traveled this trail with Moab Tour Company, and had an amazing time. We did a 3 hr off road adventure and loved every minute of it.

This review is actually a few years late, but I was writing another review and just had to add this. The Kia TV commercial filmed in Hell’s Revenge Canyon brought our trip to mind.....we actually drove over the rocks you see in the commercial! I was in Moab with my husband, son and nephew (in their 20’s); this was definitely the highlight of our trip. We were given our own vehicle, but I’m such a chicken, I asked to ride with the guide. I wish I could remember his name but he was great, reassuring me that he’d done the route hundreds of times. At times I felt we were driving up and down almost vertical surfaces, really amazing. I’ve recommended this to friends who ended up doing regular Jeep tours. It’s not the same!!! The dare devil guys loved it as well as this 59 year old chicken. You have to do Hell’s Revenge with Moab Tourism Center; they’re the only company that lets you drive your own vehicle. Highly recommend!!!

Wish i had had more time to explore. Had to take one of the shortcuts due to time constraints. (Rental UTV)

So many operators driving around here. It seems most of the guides know each other too! I'm sure almost any operator you go with will be great!
My group of 5 went out with Canyonlands Night & Day and since 2 of us had been driving the distance from San Francisco the day before and pretty tired of being behind a wheel, we only got one additional car to "self-drive" for 3 of us and myself and one other jumped into the RZR with our guide.
The views are amazing to start. Even if the ride wasn't thrilling it would be an awesome tour. Be prepared to eat a lot of dust! Covid safety measures were in place but even if you get the opportunity to take off your mask, it's really nice to have it so you don't end up with red-dusted teeth! HaHa!
We ourselves didn't drive up Hell's Gate, but we did watch a Jeep make the climb and that was cool.
If I were to go back to Moab, I'd definitely take this ride again! I'd also recommend it to anyone that wants an enjoyable half-day out for a look at the gorgeous landscape with some bumpy off-road fun!

I never knew jeeps can climb and drive over , down, under, around all this terrain! Dan Micks tour of this area was super dooper. Highly recommend it to all: Excellent area, Excellent driver, Excellent company. Diving into the cavern was one thing... and then climbing back out of it on the other side was jaw dropping. Our Guide, Robert sure can drive!!!

Watched plenty of videos before doing this trip. The videos don't do it justice. You have to do it to experience the gut wrenching, stomach turning feeling while you are either going straight up or down or driving across a section no wider than the vehicle your in. One mistake and there could be serious consequences. Our driver earned our trust early on which made everyone relax and enjoy the trip more than worrying about sliding or rolling off the side of the slickrock trail. My wife sat in the front (sissy)seat, my son sat in the middle, and my daughter and I sat in the elevated rear seat which gave us a totally different perspective than my wife and son had. If you want to experience a real adventure, book a trip for Hells' Revenge.

This was an amazing experience. Our guide, Ben, was awesome- knowledgeable and considerate. I would recommend this to anyone!

Exciting and awesome 2 hours and worth the price and time to get to Utah, Ut. Would drive to Moab just for ride. Took one grandson in 2013 and one in 2018. Highlight of their trip.

The sand flats were amazing ! What a great ride and fun time ! Highly recommend! You are never too old to have fun!

I love this trail and area. You can make it through nice and easy (for the most part) or really challenge your skill and rig if you wish.
I suggest going in the off season when possible. This gives alot more time and less waiting to fool around on some of the better obstacles. Sure, you won't have as many people cheering you on, but you don't need that anyway right?

I would recommend Epic 4X4 to take you there. we drove a side by side Kawaski . We loved it. could not believe the trails we got to drive on

Did a side by side UVT tour. Self driven following guide. Did an extended sunset tour coming out with lights on. Was definitely an extreme adventure.

This trail has everything: sand, sandstone fins, crazy obstacles, and gorgeous views. Excellent 4 x 4 destination!

We took a hummer tour with Moab Adventure Center. It was a great time - for adults, kids, and even younger kids (age 3). The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. It is absolutely amazing what these jeeps/hummers can drive on! The MAC brings plenty of water and you even get a very nice water bottle with your trip. We would highly recommend this for anyone travelling to Moab.

If you do one thing during your time in Moab, DO THIS! Get a good guide and make sure your stay for the amazing sunset.

Bought a guided tour with Moab Tour Company in an open top Hummer. Best ride of our lives, with Casey driving.

This was absolutely the highlight of our trip. And, the original founders of the Hell's Revenge trail still operate a Jeep Guide. DanMick is the best! One of only 3 companies that can do Hells Gates!

Do not attempt unless you have high clearance and full articulation. Overall this trail was fun but challenging! We had a blast and hope to come back and do the full trail!

Another great 4x4 tour! Fantastic scenery! MTC staff is super friendly and welcoming. Roni; our tour guide made our ride super fun. Definitely recommend this company for a great experience driving side-by-sides. Can’t wait to come back and try Poison Spider trail.😀

We had such a great time on this tour, and the best part was our guide ben. Such a kind soul, and he still managed to teach us all about the area even though he wasn’t feeling 100% and had lost his voice some. My kids loved him and he made the tour so enjoyable. The tour had a great mix of uphill and downhill climbs as well as sandy burms to snake through. And great views from several high points as well! I was hesitant to book but it was well worth our money and we will recommend to all of our friends who visit.

We viewed Hell's Revenge from a helicopter, piloted by Pinnacle Helicopters. The ride was incredible and the views were over-the-top amazing!!! It was a rush to see this land by air and watch the quad riders traverse over the land!!!

We hired an experienced driver, and it was the best decision. We got to enjoy the ride, the views and the thrills without any fear, and there are allot of thrills! (we are over 60 and loved it)

We took a Hummer tour of Hells Revenge with Moab Tour Company. Tyler was our driver and we had a blast. IF you don't have you own 4x4 this is the way to go, you get the excitement and a little history of the area.

First let me say that Kyle was a outstanding tour guide. Kyle explained everything that we would do along the way. Hell’s Revenge is a heart beating tour but you will love it!!!!!! My husband had wanted to do this UTV ride for a long time. We are so glad that we did it for his Birthday. Thank you Kyle for a awesome tour on Hell’s Revenge!!!

Tour this on your own or with Xtreme 4x4. Lots of fun and beautiful views. It will definitely get your hear rate up.

From terror to triumph, you'll get it all on Hell's Revenge. Bring your camera and some t.p. with a baggie to pack it out.

Most awesome experience ever! It was so much fun! Our guide Ben was the best! I suggest to take this tour first. T rex 4x4 tours is the way to go. You get to drive your own side by side but they guide the way. It takes all the guess work and "fear" away of the trails. We were grinning from ear to ear the whole time!

Hi! We did the Hell's Revenge Hummer Tour at sunset with High Point. Canyon was our driver and guide. He did an amazing job of telling us about the area and driving -- it was so cool to see what those vehicles can really do!!! We had a wide range of ages on our tour (5 to 60+) and everyone had a great time. I highly recommend this tour!!!

Great to get out on the slick rock. Climbing the fins in a Hummer was a lot of fun. Seeing dinosaur footprints in the rock was very interesting.

This was a lot of fun. However, I don't feel the tour was complete because of the imbiciles with their own vehicles holding up the line in front of us. I cannot say for certain that we actually went on Hell's Revenge. But, I would do it again.

Stunning scenary and trails that are not for the faint hearted if you are self driving. Memories made here will last a life time.

The staff was friendly & helpful. We did the 2 Hour Hummer Tour and had a Blast! Make sure to bring a camera the views are amazing & thrilling! Our Tour Guide/Driver "Chad" was amazing, fun & friendly! Two Thumbs Up! I would recommend them to our family and friends.

We took this trail as part of a guided Hummer tour. So fun. Lots of insane ups and downs that I did not expect. My 7-year-old was scared at first, but was laughing by the end.

Its awesome! Book a tour of this area of Sand Flats Recreational Area (BLM Land) through a local tour company and you will NOT be disappointed.

My first time here. Got to ride with an expert in a prototype Jeep. Lots of fun. Moderately difficult trail.

Thank you Woody and Moab Tourism for a wonderful afternoon with my husband and 8 and 10 year old kids
When the tour started we didn’t realize we would be driving ourselves and that was my fault. We were nervous at first but Woody made sure that we were safe and knew how to crawl the rocks.
I’ve been around the world and this is probably one of the funnest and craziest things I’ve ever done.
Can’t wait to do it again! Woody rocks!

This was a great experience ....one I would love to do again if I ever have the opportunity. The ride was scenic and full of fun. It was great to see scenery that you would not normally see from the main roads.
SCARY, BUT SO MUCH FUN
Joshua led our group..excellent. SCARY, but so glad we did it. My husband drove, and he was laughing the whole time. We are 68 and felt like we were in our 20's. If you are a good & safe driver, it is so worth it.
