We sampled several of their wines. Monica was very knowledgeable and made the tasting special with all her descriptions.

My fiancé & I took a roadtrip up from our neck of the woods in Tennessee to find the perfect wine for our wedding! Shoutout to Lauren she is hands down the best & deserves a raise for her intentionality and professionalism! We love her! If you go tell her we sent ya! :)

We visited here as part of a wine tour. I bought 3 bottles. The wine is smooth, James was very knowledgeable, and it made the experience that much better. The merchandise is also good for a chuckle.

James gave us directions to next winery on the wine trail along with info on making knives near the winery. Explained products wells and made visit delightful! 👍

My husband and I did the Rocky Top Wine Trail with this as our second stop. We had James to do our wine tasting and he was awesome! He was so helpful and gave great descriptions of the wine and we had a great time!

We ended up buying a glass and sitting out on the porch and it was the most beautiful view of the mountains (and the titanic museum).

We went back the next night to buy a glass and and met Tessa and she was SO sweet and we had great conversation.

We will be going back as much as we can during our stay!

Lauren was so cheerful and friendly despite falling into a tree only moments before our arrival. With such a great attitude I tried everything on the menu. Bought several wines. Only regret is she couldn’t drink a glass or two with me ! Cheers to Lauren @ Hillside!

Went to this winery many many years ago. They have completely revamped and remodeled. My husband and I did a wine tasting here as part of the Wine Trail. We had the please of being served by Katelyn. She was super pleasant and knowledgeable with the different wines. If you stop in, ask for Katelyn.

Monica served us when we visited this winery, she was super friendly and nice. Explained the wines and gave us facts about them and the other wineries that were here that was owned by the same owner. Would recommend visiting during a night out!

We love Hillside Winery and always buy a case to last us until our next visit. Renee was so nice and informative, we really enjoyed our latest visit. We even bought cups of mulled wine and sat out at the table and chairs to enjoy it. We can't wait to come back next year!

Went on the Rocky Top wine trail. Hillside was our third stop. James greeted us with a smile and seemed to enjoy his job. Once he found out what kind of wine we liked he catered our tasting to our likes. James was very knowledgeable in wines they served and could tell you what it might be similar to. James is a great asset to this winery. If you go ask for James

The location was BEAUTIFUL! Katelyn was so kind and described each of the wines perfectly. It was our favorite wine tasting experience on the trail!

Hillside winery is a nice place. They bottle and package their own wine and have a nice area set up for wine tasting. My wife thoroughly enjoyed tasting several different ones, to the point that we bought five or six bottles to bring home and to give to friends and family. The pricing is very reasonable.

Katelyn was knowledgeable about the wine, and all the process in how they were produced . Gave excellent recommendations based on our preferences. Was very patient of our questions . Would highly recommend coming to this facility and ask for Katelyn.

We liked almost every wine we tried. Our favorites were the Cantina Blanca, Vino Rosso, Black and Blue, Don Rosso and seasonal Birthday magic. The mulled wine and both slushees were wonderful.

Lauren was good but never told us about the wine club. We ended up signing up at the Apple Barn winery for our next stop. Lauren was very attentive though and down to earth. Great personality.

Cory is a great host! Very knowledgeable and explains in detail. The party tricks at the beginning of the tasting are a fun way to start!

My fiancé and I were on doing the Rocky Top Wine Trail, and our experience here was a 10/10. The wines were incredible!!! Some of the best I've tried before! Lauren was the best. She provided some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. She was very personable, kind, and genuine. On top of that, her humor was top-notch. If you come to visit, try your best to get Lauren. She is someone who provides an experience that when you leave, you say, "I dont know what she is paid, but she deserves a raise!"

Went in right before closing and was told by a guy we couldn't taste anything but we were allowed to purchase. Lauren was awesome and let us taste what we came into try even though they were closing. If store is open they should allow people to taste before they purchase not stop them before locking doors.

Derrick definitely takes care of you as a customer and is very knowledgeable of the wines. One of our favorites that they have there are a cotton candy wine! You should stop in and give it a try if you like sweet wines! Will definitely be back when in the area again!

We started the wine trail here with Brenda who was great as our tasting hostess. We ended up with a bottle of the Indian Summer as our favorite. Will be back our next trip.

We stumbled upon this place by accident and it was such a treat. It's a terrific little winery with a very informed staff. They were doing a free tasting! It was fun and Monica knew her stuff. This was the last winery on the Rocky Top Wine Trail and what a way to end the trail! Sam was great, answered all our questions and made sure our experience was a great one. I recommend the stop, for a limited time they have a ‘birthday’ wine and if you are there while it is still in stock, I would get a taste!

Lauren is the best. We were so indecisive on what wines we wanted to sample. She was so helpful and knowledgeable of all the wines. She went above and beyond to help us with what we were looking for. As a local resident, I highly recommend going by to see Lauren and the Hillside winery staff. They are fantastic... Be sure to sample the freezers, especially the strawberry lemonade. Lauren's favorite!!

We visited Hillside Winery on 6/9/25 as the last stop on our winery trail. This was our favorite wine of the day and by far the friendliest host we encountered. Kalan was very friendly and knowledgeable. We 100% recommend this winery.

Our second time to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge together and I will say this is our favorite winery!!!The BEST wine and Lauren is the BEST lil wine hostess ever!!! Just look for the beautiful girl with one green eye and one blue!!! Such a beautiful soul!!!

Monica was excellent. She was personable and did a fabulous job describing the wines. We enjoyed the Sangria and Lemonade slushy the most along with the dry wines. We are generally not fans of sweet wines. Theirs are good, just not what we prefer.

Loved getting to taste some new selections and hear about other products as well! Be sure and ask for DERRICK! He's a hoot, and told us about the pepper jelly (which we did buy!!)!

This used to be one of my favorite wineries in the area, however my experience here this time was not great. The bartender we had was not good, and absolutely not attentive. He was too distracted going back and forth between multiple groups, rather than tending to one at a time. And I belive they add more new ridiculous rules everytime we come here (rules that are not implemented at any other winery in the group). If this was my first experience with this winery, I'd never be back.

Some of the most excellent wine available in the Gatlinburg area! I'm personally a big fan of all muscadine wines and this place has a great selection and everything from dry to sweet. Our server Renee was very sweet and helpful, absolutely recommend going!

Hillside Winery was a great place to do some wine tasting, and they even have delicious jam and salsa. Very cute storefront and the staff was friendly! My favorite part about our visit was John!
