Check out the cruise ships

By Robert L |

Walked along the beach to here today. Long jetty out into the ocean to walk along and for many fishing.
Wee looked out for turtles swimming.
Two cruise liners set sail and passed as we were walking.
They are massive.
The park has restrooms and a food outlet.

Early morning visit to see sunrise

By MarcF |

Although Sun remained hidden from view. The beach was not crowded and water was nice. Although I remained close to shore because of rip currents. Very close to campgrounds and Ports for Victory Casino Cruise.

Sites Not Always as Large as they say.

By BP H |

We like Jetty Park for the beach access and friendly people. However, we have had trouble with our camping spots. Beware: There are problems when you are back to back with another camper. We reserved a "concrete slab" spot and when we arrived we were unable to get all 4 wheels on the slab, because the camper behind us is backed up to far on their slab. Said camper has 3 feet of cement in front of them, but they felt it necessary to back up all the way. Because he chose to back up to the back of his slab, we are unable to pull into our site completely. We have 2 wheels on the cement and 2 wheels on the dirt. It would a very simple fix if the park would paint lines on the slabs as to where your back wheels should be placed. This would only need to be done on the slabs that were back to back. I hope they look into this and fix this problem We shouldn't be penalized because we got here later then the person behind us.

Nice beach

By Joe H |

Nice place to spend the day before your cruise. You can sit and watch boats come and go, or play on the beach. It is a park, so there is a small fee.

Had a blast!

By Munch1002 |

LOVED watching all boats and ships each day!

Playground was AWESOME! LOVED the rubber mulch and natural wood area for kids! Sand was like sugar and perfect for a stroll along the coast!

Closest beach to Orlando area

By Jojen67 |

Beautiful clean beach with lifeguards. Concession with A/C that serves food and drinks also wine and beer. It was 100 degrees that day so it was nice to see they rent chairs and umbrellas. There is a short boardwalk completely shaded. It has a long pier to walk out to and you can see sea turtles and people catching fish. If you are lucky you will see the cruise ships leave port and they are so close! Out of towners will pay $15 for day pass but well worth it for a beautiful beach. Close to Ron Jon surf shop.

Beautiful views, great sea breeze

By Boca Ben |

Beautiful views and great place to fish. Short walk from many of the hotels and easily accessible. I ended up going for a run through the park and onto the pier and back

Quick getaway

By Kathy A |

Decided to do a short visit to the area, for relaxing week in the sun. Selected this site, due to close proximity to the water. Majority of sites have cement slab that makes it nice, for leveling the TT. Not much shade but that was noted, on their website. Had to pay $2 per day per dog. That is not mentioned on their website....only on the confirmation email they send you after you book, to include the requirement to bring a copy of their vet shots...something you should have anyway but have never been required or checked, in our many travels. Staff, at check in, was very nice and they do check pet records. Not sure if it was the time of year or what but we got eaten up, either by chiggers or sand fleas, while sitting outside...even with a 12x12 tarp laid and insect repellent on. Know it is to be expected, when you camp or RV but it was way more than any place we camped before. Other than the ground bugs and, of course many, many mosquitos, park is clean. Secured entrance, with code. Very sunny and a nice breeze.

RV ers Beware!! Day passes for park!!

By Vanetta C |

We visited Jetty park yesterday as we have done for 7 years in our 34 foot motorhome. Yesterday we paid the $20 entrance fee and entered the park as usual---only to find the Rv parking area was no longer available for day rv er visitors!!
The new policy is that only overnight campers can park in that area now!!
No one informed us at the entrance gate. There was no parking for our rv so we went back to the front gate and asked for our refund of the $20.
They refused to give us a refund!!
We were told to call the office which we did.
We were informed of the new policy over the phone when someone eventually called us back.
By that time we were almost back home. We live an hour away. We were told we had to drive back to the park to get a refund. I asked that the refund be mailed. They refused!

Their new policy is you now have to reserve space ahead of time for the campground at a price of $32. That space is no longer available for a day at the beach!
So very disappointed as we visited Jetty beach for many years and were very happy. We should have been informed at the front gate before they took our money!!

Good place to fish

By royalpalmshade |

Jetty park right by the Port of Canaveral is a good place to watch ships launch and a great place to fish. There is plenty of parking, boat launch and bait shop. There are bathrooms and a place to clean your catch.

Weekend stay

By nomosnowguy |

4th trip to Jetty Park Campground. Love it. Always relaxing, clean, and comfortable. Reasonable pricing as well.

Watch Cruise Ships and Rockets, Enjoy soft sand Beach, Pier, Jetty, Paths, RV Park, Bait shop and food!

By Zanzabar K |

Great location to watch the boats/ships come and go! Watch the rockets! Enjoy the beach (public restrooms are available, beach vendor to rent chairs and other supplies too), Fishlips restaurant (casual attire), RV parking, paths, fish off the pier or just hang out! Do a little or do a lot! Bait shop staff are friendly! Great place for one, two, family, or friends!

View! View! View

By Beverly S |

Right now undergoing renovations from storm damage. Heard it opens again soon. Certain fishermen ready to catch some fish and pelicans to beg for leftovers. Fun to wave to just sailing folks on cruise liners. And can catch an occasional submarine coming into port.

Great view for Rocket launch

By XDNut |

Went last night to watch ch the rocket launch. Great area of the beach. Nice parking when we got there. Easy to get to water.

Great place for a family outing.

By Donna B |

Hidden gem in Brevard county. It's got a little of something for everyone. There is a huge grassy area with grills for cooking and a playground for the kids. If you don't want to cook, the snack bar has pretty decent food at very reasonable prices. If you want to swim, there is a nice sandy beach where you can rent chairs and umbrellas so you don't have to drag your own. If fishing is your thing they have a super long pier with several fish cleaning stations. I understand they also have a campground but since I live in Brevard county I didn't check it out. Like I said something for everyone.

Love jetty Park!

By aguptill |

Take a leisurely Walk along cocoa beach in into Jetty Park which will lead you to the fishing pier. You may find some sea turtles, dolphins and you will definitely see lots of birds!

People watching

By iamcindylouwho |

Great place to watch the cruise ships leave. Lots of people fishing and playing in the surf. Crowded on the weekends. There is a charge to bring your vehicle in. But if you ride your bicycle in its free.

Walk out on the pier

By Steve2422 |

Best thing about this park is the fishing pier. Walk out and see the fish being caught. Can also view close up the many cruise ships departure and arrivals. May see dolphins and turtles

Camping weekend

By Jessica G |

I took my 10 yr old for a weekend Camping trip. Jetty Park was a great location. We had a nice and shady tent camping site while being a short walk to the beach. People in the camp store are extremely helpful and polite. They have grills on the sites which meant less stuff I had to bring. Definitely will be back soon!

Beautiful location

By Judi O |

Enjoy the beautiful beach and walk out on the jetty to see the fish, turtles and dolphins in the water. Stand on the jetty for a close up view of the cruise ships leaving the port.

Smashing view

By Anastaciahausen |

Great spot to watch the cruise ships leaving the port . Great atmosphere , you almost feeel like you are on the ship

Nice park - Entrance Fee

By Denise D |

This is a very nice park to spend the day, or even camp. There are spaces for tents and RV’s. There are lifeguards on duty. The beach is long and shallow waters. Of course there are rip currents at times, just like any other ocean location. Just follow the signs and flags. The pier itself is very long and has many opportunities for fishing. If you are there at 4pm you will get to see several cruise ships leave port. It is a great place to watch the rocket launches. The bathrooms are accessible and free, as well as changing areas. There is a small shop that sells light snacks and beverages.

Nearby, behind the parking lot, there are places to launch your boat, with more snack opportunities.

There is an entrance fee if you don’t have a park sticker, which I think is a little steep for one day (over $10) but for a full day of fun. It’s worth it.

Nice Place To Chill Out

By GlobeTrotting705833 |

Nice place to chill out and watch cruise ships go by! I took my family and we had a blast! The place is very clean. There is a fee to get in.

Really nice place but staff is really rude

By claudia c |

In order to enter there’s very scarce and unclear signaling as to how to pay the daily fee which is now through a QR code on a small sign on the floor which is not accessible to all vehicles, when attempting to read the signaling and scan it from our tall car which was difficult since the sign was on the floor, a staff member named Tina started yelling at us that we were “blocking the road”, but when we approached her to pay at the kiosk instead she told us we had to go back and pay on the phone only.. If you are telling me to pay on the online method which cannot be properly scanned from my car why would the staff be condescending about me struggling with it?

Great Beach With Views of Ships & Rocket Launches

By Scott E |

We spent the day here and enjoyed watching the ships leave port. We got lucky and saw a rocket launch as well.

Pro's - not crowded, sand was very nice to walk on with only a few shells, view of ships, view of rocket launches, restrooms on-site.

Con's - a small fee to park ($15 per car) and no food on-site.

A cute "off the beaten path" for a close by beach day

By jennifera399 |

Loved the little restaurant that was on the beach. The beach was within quick acess to where we were staying. Not very crowded. Loved watching all the cruise ships within eye sight too.

Nice quiet beach

By Ronald R |

We went for long walk on this beach twice a day, early morning then after dinner, it is a quiet beach, most of the people were walking, some families playing in the water, very clean

Good park but expensive access

By Bryan cool |

U have to pay 15$ per veichel to get in,they don t offer annual pass to FL residents unless if you live in this county u get some deal. they have kids playground and camping area. The best thing that happened is that we saw a submarine heading out of the port.

Nice Beach, great walkway pier

By LadyRedRider |

Easy access, plenty of parking, a childs playground, nice beach. Plenty of area to fish and for kids to run and play. RV's sites at this location.

Very clean

By boxson289 |

Lots to do beach, fishing ,watch boats and wild life. Many different activities. Just walking around

Cruise Ship Sighting!

By Birdman11 |

Great beach area about ten minutes from Ron Jon. The best part is that you are next to Port Canaveral. You can watch the Cruise Ships come and go. You are literally 100 feet from them as they leave the port. Very Cool......

Wish we could have stayed longer

By RetiredCalgary55 |

I loved this place! The sites are large and the park has plenty of green spaces. It was very cool to watch the huge cruise ships come in to the port. We visited the Kennedy Space Center while we were here and this resort was close and convenient. We definitely will be back.

The best beach

By Cynthia S |

We love Jetty Park! We highly recommend it for anyone visiting Cape Canaveral! It is a great camping and day use park located right next to the Jetty and directly on the beach! If you want to camp for any length of time you will have to reserve a year in advance. Bring your bicycle during low tide and ride along the ocean!

Fantasitic location and family oriented.

By bkingfireman |

Enjoyed camping and surfing at this location. It was great for the sunrise and early morning coffee at the store. Took my family and planning to return soon. Maybe the surf camp first week of school being out. Met some fantastic locals.

Jetty Park

By 387indy |

The number one claim to fame was to watch the launches, it fills up in a hurry. They also have just great views of the inlet, the ocean. The pier is good for fishing, they have clean restrooms, a pavilion, food stand, picnic tables and parking. Cost $10.

Great park!

By Phil Miller |

I come to Jetty Park for Falcon Heavy launches/landings. The view is perfect! Park is clean and well maintained. I’ll be back every time I head up to the Cape.

More than fishing pier

By Randy T |

I had a special treat on my last visit to Jetty Park. A French sub just happen to float by. Nice surprise. You never know what will pass by!

Beautiful Interlude

By HKLUSA |

Jetty park is very nice and filled with friendly folks. It offers great views of the departing cruise ships and has a nice beach

Special Place

By Delnor N |

The Jetty offers a special experience. A visit may include watching cruise ships depart/return, wildlife (turtles, manatee, dolphins, rays), people fishing (no fishing license required when fishing from the pier), a rocket launch, beautiful sunrise/sunset, a clean beach and kids taking surfing lessons. Parking may be an issue. Unfortunately during COVID times the only "cruise ship" you will see is the casino boat.

place to enter beach and fishing pier

By Lois L |

Jetty park was mostly for camp vehicles which was very nice and crowed. There is a nice walkway through trees maybe little over a mile. Not to Port Canaveral harbor where fishing is great. Small place to buy supplies and eat. {playground for children.

Watched Cruises Leave

By Robert C |

We took the family to watch the cruise ships leave port. This is the first time I have done this as we showed up a couple days before our cruise left and had time. It was great fun to sit on bank and wave at the people on board the ships. We watched a RCL and Disney ship leave. Epic was in port but was hosting some Rave concert and was taken twice as long to load and do all the different security checks so we left. The only down fall was the restaurant closed super early. I did some exploring to see the camp grounds and it was nice. may have to check it out with the camper some time soon. They had a nice play ground for the kids as well while we waited for the first ship to leave.

GORGEOUS, $25 annual membership for Brevard Cty Residents!

By BRMFujairah-Dhadna |

How can you go wrong? On one side you can fish, or picnic or just watch the cruise ships go by (better than being on one!); on the other side, is a very large stretch of beach. The jetty extends (as jettys do) right out onto the water, parallel to the beach, providing the best of both vistas! We go here at least 3 times a week in the evenings - GORGEOUS sunsets and cloud formations! It is a MUST-GO-TO, even if you have to pay the $5 entry as a non-resident. Fish Lips just opened an outlet there but it is pathetically sad - a snack bar with canned beer. Whaaat?

Disappointing.

By Tina H |

We looked forward to camping here again since our last time was 2018. This time we brought our dogs with us and were very disappointed that we couldn’t take them to the beach, out the gate, or to the other side of the park to watch the ships. While the campground is large enough to take them in a decent walk, there really isn’t a good spot for them to do their business. All the signs say to use the spot behind the camp store, but there’s no access.

Disappointed with the overall care of the campground. You’d think they could at least pave the paths.

This is such an ideal location with so much to do, but could be so much better!

Annual Park Pass Local

By Roxane J |

I absolutely love Jerry Park. It's is by far the Best Beach Park in the Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach area. It has showers, several restrooms, camping grounds, Squid Lips restaurant if you need some food or drinks along with a gift shop/convince type store. You can watch the cruise ships come and go into the port from the awesome fishing pier. I always see something cool being the Sunrises on the beach are especially amazing along with the sunsets on the west over the water as well. I have seen it all here fishermen catching sharks to sea turtles and manarays coasting on by. So much more the list could go on. If your in the area this is a great place to hang out with your family and friends. There is a nice play area too. You will definitely have fun in the sun here.

Yearly camper

By maruke57 |

Such a wonderful place to camp, they accommodate most any size vehicle. My favorite pastime while there is to enjoy the cruise ships leaving and entering the Port.
Luckily, we are allowed to bring out pet but I think the fee each day is silly and petty. Paying a fee does not keep the poo picked up, only responsible pet owners do that.
It is nearly like Ft Knox trying to gain entry, but all The is doable and does keep the meanders to a minimum. The folks employed at Jetty Park are a great crew.

Great spot in Port Canaveral

By Brandon W |

Great pier to walk out on to view rocket take offs and cruise ships coming in and out. Very few fisherman at this pier during the week so nice to walk out on. Great spot to see turtles. Beach can get kind of crowded on the weekends. During the week, you can have a nice walk on the beach.

Perfect location for a short trip to the ocean from Central Florida

By DiscerningTourist |

We have now visited Jetty Park on three separate occasions and it never disappoints. It is just over an hour’s drive from our friends house in Kissimmee and makes a great day out at the beach without having to travel too far. Whilst there is a $15 admission fee we still feel it is worth the price as it offers convenient parking, changing room facilities, a cafeteria and gift shop and most importantly of all lifeguards in attendance. You can hire chairs and umbrellas and the latter is particularly useful on most occasions we have visited as you can shield yourself from the intense sunshine that often prevails. Can highly recommend

By David O |

Non residents pay $15 for the day. Well worth it. Jetty with walking path. Hugh long fishing pier. A very long sandy beach very shallow with crashing waves. Small snack bar with lots of food choices and frozen drinks with a exceptionally friendly staff. Eat upstairs on the second level with great views. Beach was gorgeous. The pier had fishermen and sightseers. Turtles, pelican and sea rays were plentiful. Check the cruise schedule for arrivals and departures. Saw 3 gigantic cruise ships leaving between 4 & 5 P.M.

Something for everyone

By russhhs |

We spent a lot of time in the campground. We went to watch the cruise ships leave. The restaurant near the beach had great reviews. Parking was plentiful and the beach had plenty of room for everyone to spread out. They had chairs and umbrellas to rent.

Breakfast and scenery

By karen m |

Had breakfast here, then walked down the pier. Good place to fish, watch the cruise and other boats come in and super place to watch the rocket launches.

Beautiful Beach to Enjoy

By Gene H |

Do take the time to enjoy Jetty Beach. You can walk from a local hotel. Cars have to pay an access fee. The water and beach are wonderful and inviting. Chairs and umbrellas are available. It was a pleasant surprise so close to the hotel. Also, a great spot to watch the cruise ships and IF your timing is good, watch a liftoff from Kennedy Space Center. Enjoy. Gene H

Great place to watch a launch

By Chris C |

What a great place to watch a launch. We went for the 12.52am launch this past week and had no obstruction to watch this rocket take off. Plenty of parking and there are benches to sit on as well right on the water at the mouth of the cape.

Nice.

Great relaxing location to kick back and catch some fish or sunshine.

By rmanny |

Last year in March 2017 I and relatives spent the day at jetty park fishing and picnicking. Great time.

Nice Park

By GeorgeK |

This park is really neat. On one side is the canal leading into Port Canaveral, and the beach is on the other. There is also a small fishing pier. We saw a large cargo ship and a Disney cruise liner enter and exit the port. It was really cool. There is also camping - RV's and tents. The park is clean, well maintained, and close to restaurants and other activities.

BONUS!! It is a great spot to watch rocket launches from the Kennedy Space Center, which is also a fun place to visit.

Nice county park

By anna b |

We took our RV to park (not to use the campground) and watch the Falcon 9 launch. Had never been here before and it's an awesome park. You can watch boats come in and out of the inlet, go to the beach, camp, picnic or grab a bite at the concession stand which serves great food

Love it

By gbenn |

We stay at the Holiday Inn right next door so we just take a short walk over to the park. On the way over we stop to check on the cats. I love to walk out on the pier and watch the locals fish. You also get a great view of the cruise ships coming and going. The pier is also a good place to watch for dolphins and a great place to watch launchings from Kennedy Space Center. We even got to see the new submarine USS Indiana coming in shortly after being commissioned.

January getaway

By Gary G |

Great RV park - hard to get reservations. Excellent restaurants close by, Good beach access, and close to Cocoa beach business areas.

wouldn't let us in. we had 2 dogs.

By Donna W |

We wanted to see this park. Person at entrance wouldn't let us in because we had 2 dogs. If you have pets. Stay away.

Always a great stop

By Billy M |

The food at the Pavillion is always perfect! they always have a great lunch special running and really you cant go wrong with any menu item! The bait shop has pretty much everything you need for fishing or snacks for the day!! April and her staff are always friendly!

Pros and cons

By BHafdahl |

To start we are tent campers. We needed a place to camp and wanted to stay on the Cape. This place is right there, the location is spectacular, and you can hear the ocean from the campsites. Don't let the word "primitive" fool you. If you are used to camping in a tent there isn't much to call primitive, which is really nice. The primitive sites are all very shaded and flat. They all have tables and a standard campsite grill. There aren't any fire pits at the sites, which wasn't a problem since it's as hot as it is in central Florida. They tell you that you don't have access to water if you choose this option, but every RV site has a water spout, so we went to an empty RV site and filled up our camping jug. At first glance the place seemed clean, but that wasn't the case. There was visible garbage all around the campsites, water bottles, plastic bags, caps, liquor bottles, etc., littered throughout the ground and in the trees. At first I wanted to blame the squirrels and birds since the trashcans don't have lids, but it was clear that previous campers had simply dumped their garbage in the bushes. The bathrooms were clean and bright, but on the third day I noticed the same trash and dirt clumps in the showers, meaning they were glossed over, much like the primitive campsites. The general store is decent and provides free coffee, and the staff was nice. Beach access was great and is 24 hours, a midnight swim in the warm ocean was one of the highlights of our trip. The biggest issue we had was the landscapers. We understand that this is necessary for upkeep and that we were staying in the beginning/middle of the week versus the weekend, so it makes sense to do it then, but please have them start near the RV's and work towards the tent campers. We were rudely awakened by a guy with a weed whacker at 8am and a barrage of lawnmowers blowing by. Holy hell what a mess, I came out of the tent and the guy with the weed whacker was obliterating branches and leaves. He seemed to have no rhyme or reason to what he was doing. He was rushing from site to site and when he came towards us from the neighboring site and it took me making eye contact, less than 10 feet away, for him to realize we were even there. He would have likely tried "landscaping" our site with us there. After a couple of hours the crew moved away from the primitive area and all the way across the grounds to where there are only RV's and cabins. They left around 11:30am. Since half of them are already out in the middle of the grounds where the RV's are, why not flip the process? Tent campers have until noon to pack it out, so why have people running around with power tools and mowers IN tent sites at 8am? It was absolutely unnerving.

Snowbirds

By Billfitz144 |

We are staying at the campground at jetty park for 6 weeks. We happened to be here for the falcon heavy launch - this park boasts not only campground but fishing pier and great beach.

They have campsites right on the inlet and ones inside the main park area .

Love love love

By lesha2684 |

My children had so much fun . They wanted to stay longer then we could handle. At the end of the day it was worth the 15 $ to park..

Great park and great beach

By Robert Omstead |

We came down to watch the Rocket Launch and then took a long walk along a very clean and friendly beach. We will be coming back for sure and there was life guard on duty as well

Nice beach, nice waves.

By Keith H |

A very pretty beach that is good for families. There are accessible bathrooms and a good amount of parking. There is jetty that you can use to walk out and watch fisherman catch fish.

Perfect place

By PJtellsit |

You can see anything here as far as ocean life. Wonderful pier for fishing or looking. Watch the sunrise or sunset. See boats coming in and going out. Cruises right next door. Good restaurants near by.

Sunrise

By Enelram21 |

Peaceful. Many launches this week. Saw 3! Safe. Walk to cocoa beach. Food is good. See the fishermen on the peer. Pelicans. Dolphins. Sunrises! Surfing.

Pass through

By Ashley C |

We stayed at the resort next to the park and passed through a few times. I think it's a very nice park. During our morning runs, we were able to run on a sidewalk path that went thru a wooded area that led us out to the beach. The park has several amenities, a snack bar that is operated by a local restaurant (and seems to have their most popular menu items) & a camp store that has many convenient items one would've forgotten. The campground itself looked nice, as campers, my fiancé and myself even remarked we'd stay there at some point in the future. Lastly, the park has a great fishing pier! You can see sea turtles and many other fish daily.! In the past I've seen dolphins also. Other people in my group had spotted a manatee. It's a very nice place to observe wildlife!

Beautiful spot to hang out!

By Kelley D |

I walk down from my condo cocoa beach pier. pier. Great beach. Love the store and food options. Pretty to walk out on the pier.

Great Location

By Susan N |

Jetty Park is a wonderful place to camp or spend the day. The facilities include food for sale, restrooms, and you are right on the ocean. Great place to get together with family and friends for sun, surf, and sand!

Perfect beach spot for family

By KatieElizabeth13 |

I don’t usually like the beach, and I dreaded being stuck without good facilities with two young kids. But this gem had it all to make our expected 1/2 day turn into a full, fabulous 6 hours by the ocean. The restrooms and changing areas were not fancy but clean. We rented two padded beach chairs and a large umbrella (it withstood some real wind gusts mid-morning!). Then we played. The beach never felt crowded although more people showed up after lunch. The cruise ships and freighters fascinated my boys as they slowly grew bigger and then sailed past us. We got a sno come from the concession stand, and it was a relief to know the little store was there if we needed anything more. There were enough shells to find souvenirs and waves just big enough to make it exciting. Can’t recommend enough! This beach skeptic would go back tomorrow if I could!

Camping again

By Bill T |

Just a close by awesome camp ground. WiFi is spotty at best. The views are incredible. There is fishing off the pier and watching the boats go in and out relaxing

Nice place to spend a day

By Suzy Q |

This is a nice place to spend the day at the beach. Relaxing, Clean and the view is great. You can watch the boats come into port.

Great place to camp

By chopprlane |

Very affordable place to camp. Close access to the beach and other Cape Canaveral attractions. All sites close to showers/rest rooms. Great playground for kids.

A pleasent afternoon on the pier

By Pujah158 |

Jetty Park is clean, calm and typically not crowded. It can get crowded on holidays but that is understandable. The pier is a great walk out to the water and it is usually lined with people pier fishing but it's not too crowded. The beach is also rather clean and calming. A good choice as far as beaches go.

Gorgeous Beach

By Cameren23 |

This was my second visit to Jetty Park Beach, first visit was several years ago for a Rocket Launch. After paying the $15 for access, we parked near the new Fishlips Jetty Park, walked around a bit and spoke to the ladies inside. Then walked down to the beach and found it fairly abandoned (good thing!!). The water this day was warm like bathwater! I personally grew up swimming in fresh water, so Salt water is NOT my favorite, but my friends wanted to swim in the Ocean. We were only able to play in the water for about 20 minutes before mother nature forced us out, but overall it was a good experience...just wish there was a discount for FL residents. Brevard County Residents pay only $5...perhaps in-state visitors could pay $8-10, then out of state pay the whole $15...we didn't get our monies worth because of the weather...but the good outweighs the bad by far!! I will return for sure, and if they ever expanded the annual pass out from Brevard County, I'd prolly buy one

This Is The Place

By Jerry B |

Friends told us about this place. Now we're telling you. Jetty Park is next to the cruise ship docks. Small place at the tip of the peninsula. Channel on one side, long Daytona type of beach on other side. Rest rooms, small restaurant. Mostly a place for campers to bring in their motor homes and park with a view of the channel. The big deal is to sit and watch the cruise ships come and go. Sunday afternoon around 4 pm is ideal. Cost to get in is $15 per car. No discounts. Worth it.

Nice spot, not crowded.

By mcpjferels |

Excellent location for fishing and surfing, nice walkway to take a stroll and watch the cruise ships come in.

Wonderful family beach

By linda c |

We love Jetty Park! This is such a wonderful family beach. The cruise ships pass right by this beach. You can purchase food and drinks in the store and rent umbrellas for the day.

Beautiful park

By co-director |

This park has everything you need for a day at the beach or for fishing. Clean, picnic tables, plenty of parking. It is a great place to view a rocket launch. The cruise port is right next to it and we loved seeing the ships come in and leave the port.

Beautiful day at the beach

By spacenuts321 |

This beach is clean, with life guards. great place for families with small children as the water does not get too deep quickly.

Great beach for young kids and cruise ship viewing

By Corinne Z |

Great beach for kids. You can walk out 20-30 feet with the water only up to your knees. The day we were there, the tide was coming in and the waves were maybe 2' (if?). There is a nice pier that you can walk out on and watch people fishing. Around 4pm the cruise ships leave and that's a pretty impressive sight. They literally go right through the jetty and cast a shadow on the beach - they are that close! There is an adequate bathroom and changing facility and outdoor rinsing showers. There is also a snack stand and touristy shop where you can buy ice cream, sandwiches, beer, sunscreen, etc. We were there during Spring Break and it was not crowed.

Beach day fun day!

By Pujah158 |

Clean, fairly uncrowded, board walk, and unforgettable views! The perfect combination for the perfect day at the beach! A must go if you're visiting!

Nice place

By KILLERBX1 |

Great spot to see the port. I do not think i would plan on eating at it's restaurant, unless you like greasy fried food.the place smelled like grease.

Nice, but not for a quick visit

By Alyson P |

We were at Kennedy Space Center so we decided to take a ride over. The pier is very nice however a $15 fee to get through the gate for a 20 minute walk down the pier and back was not worth it. The playscape was too hot to play on too, so it was piterally just a walk up and back on the pier. Bring your beach gear to spend the day or skip it entirely.

Pricey entrance fee for visitors

By Neri L |

I used to come a lot some time ago, today I came what a surprise, they raise the entrance fee now for tourist and florida residents that are not from Brevard county. What? Even Disney give to Florida resident not matter what county discounts. Not only that but you pay just to park your car under the sun because frankly they do not have any features like 2 seats and a umbrella at least. But just a parking lot with the same as showers and restroom like any other park FREE around the area. And if you want to see the ships coming out from the port, you can admire it, having some drinks in the happy hour for example 2 beers for $5. So with the same $15 that I payed to get into the Jetty Park I can have 6 beers and I can see the beautiful ships so close from the port. I am really disappointed is the same beach and sometime better in the extension of the east coast for FREE. If you do not want to be rip off find any other park.

Rough use to be great

By RustedNuts |

This use to be a great family park but is overrun with people who just don't care. They need to have permits for any event over 10 people to help stop some of the rogue stuff.

Great Beach and Fishing Pier

By dkapc |

Jetty Park is a great place to visit to either hang out at the beach or fish off the pier. You can see lots of sea turtles, manatees and maybe even witness someone catch a small shark fishing off the pier. If you time your day right, you might even get to see a cruise ship or two leave the port.

Nice little park with beach and fishing pier - with nice views into the Port

By CodyDC |

While at Port Canaveral, I stopped the Jetty Park to have a look around. I walked along the park trail and came across White Swans and Ibis birds and then a cat colony which also included a bunch of raccoons stealing the cat food. Also encountered Florida Box Turtle and Little Blue Heron bird. The beach looked nice and then walked out to the fishing pier. You can also look towards Cape Canaveral Space Station. I'm sure this is a great place to watch the rocket launches. The park also includes a RV camp ground with facilities.

NOT Dog Friendly

By Dennis S |

You couldn't find a nicer place to sit and enjoy the cruise ships that go in and out of the port. But for those who think it's nice for the family they must not have a dog. We had our little dog inside a bike basket with NO intention of letting him sun around (even on a leash) and we got "BUSTED" By the campground patrols. NO DOGS ALLOWED PERIOD!

It would be nice if they spent as much time and effort trying to drive out and contend with the vandalism in the campground.

Jetty Park

By cemitchell91 |

Good beach access with pier perfect to fish from. Great location to view launch from Kennedy Space Center. A little difficult to find, but not too crowded on the beach.

Definitely a must visit

By PeterTravelAdvisor |

This park is Great in many ways.
It has a beautiful beach next to the Port of Canaveral.
There is a nice bridge that you can fish out off or watch the Cruise liners leave the port. Yes you can see the cruise leave up and personal to the point you can wave the passengers on deck enjoying the picturesque view.
There is a nice playground for children
You also have a camping area and there are a couple of picnic pavilions too with charcoal grills.
Facilities are nice and well kept.
This park has all you want packed in one place.
Nice experience for sure

Next to the beach!!!

By T B |

We are having a wonderful stay here at Jetty Park campground. The beach is right here. The campground is clean, quiet and the staff is great. No complaints. Easy to spend time at the beach.

Very Nice

By Tom L |

Went here after a deplorable cruise on Victory, was the best part of the day. Very relaxing after a stressful day

Surprise Easter Morning

By Steve V |

My wife and I are early risers, even on vacation. We decided to see if we could watch the sunrise from a beach somewhere. I drove us past the cruise port towards where I thought the sea might be and we ran dead end into the entrance of Jetty Park. There was a police car there and when we drove up to the guard shack, we found out there was a sunrise Easter service happening at the beach. There was a line of cars making their way back into the park and we just followed them.

We did not participate in the service, but had a chance to get a good walk along the beach, pier and beautiful sand dunes there. The sun rise was magnificent. It's definitely worth checking into if you are in town. Us landlocked Ohioans found it rather charming and a nice Easter morning distraction.

Great, quiet beach visit!

By Crathy21 |

We visit this beach with the goal of seeing the Disney ship (and other cruise ships) depart port so we arrive around 4 p.m. This was our 3rd trip to do this and it is a really nice, quiet spot. If you want a beach to yourself I would recommend visiting in the later afternoon. It is a bit pricey (I think we paid $15 to enter) but the cost keeps the crowds down. We had stopped at Alan Shepherd beach before going to Jetty Park and it was significantly busier.

CAMP NEXT TO VICTORY CASINO CRUISE!

By Michelle M |

We had a great time at the Jetty Campground. Clean facilities, friendly staff & they allow pets. Twice we went out on the Victory Casino Cruise right next door. The casino will even send a driver to pick up & take you back to the campground. You are sleeping right next to the beach so it's a short walk to go for a swim. It's fun to watch the large cruise ships come & go right past the seawall. We will be back. Thanks to our friends who recomennded it to us!

Relaxing area

By Coopssn3 |

Jetty Park is a nice area to go for a walk or fish. You can also set in a swing and just relax and watch the pelicans. It's a great picnic area or a good place for a day at the beach.

Toll Collector can't collect Toll?

By Don |

Today I was on a journey to see some friends and off in the distance all the cruise ships were in port. Intrigued I went to see if I could get a closer look at the inlet. I spoke to a nice lady AT THE PARK BOOTH that said to get in the park I would have to get a ticket on a app or on line.

TURNED OFF by the process I took HER advise and went to the BOAT LAUNCH and dock to check it out the view.

At the boat launch the view was ok but I really wanted to see these giants go out to sea so I decided to go back to the gate to figure out the process. I'm ok with technology but not when I have 3 cars pulling up behind me. I couldn't figure it out and the pressure with the people behind me, SCREW IT, I'm going back home.

At times TECHNOLOGY is your friend or your enemy. This time I LOST.

HEY PORT, IF YOU ARE GOING to STAFF a booth GIVE THEM a PHONE and a CREDIT CARD SWIPE. You were getting $16.50 and I was going to be there an hour and leave with video, photos and probably post on social media. NOW I leave with a piss taste in my mouth and a negative experience.

SORRY, for this you earned a ⭕️ for customer service.

Great place to watch NASA launches for free

By Tom B |

Great place to view a launch from 39a. Park in grass area across street from building and parking lot to view launches.

Busy beach

By IloveIsrael |

Great gazebos and shop. Unfortunately the beach was so busy I really could not navigate well. I hope to visit again soon. The best part was the view of the cruise ships.

You can walk here from your cruise ship.

By THINGS2LIVE4 |

Nothing against cruise ship excursions, but you can instead spend the day at this awesome beach and enjoy the ship almost empty. Depending on where you dock you can walk here from your cruise ship.

Great fishing spot

By Brenda |

Watch the submarines come in. There’s a private beach that’s nice. Great place to watch the rockets launch. Fishing on the beer or in between the rocks is amazing. There’s a bar and restaurant on site with bait. Come in your truck and bring a lawn chair. Go camping or bring your RV. If you’re a local and the water is too rough for your boat, it’s a great place to fish for flounder, amberjack and triple tail.

Beautiful Beach

By Cynthia S |

This is one of the finest beaches to visit in Cape Canaveral.
The facitlites are first rate and it now includes a beach side snack bar!

Good beach for a short couple's escape

By Luisa C |

My husband and me went to this beach last week, We love to go to Gulf's beaches, but at this opportunity we live in Orlando, and we didn't have enough time, we decided to go to the beach near home and this one is perfect for that. The sand are not white, but it's ok. For a beach day and come back home early at the same day is ok.

Hidden Gem...

By madesros |

I have been coming down to Cape Canaveral for many years and have seen the change and growth of Jetty Park. The town has done a tremendous job in improving and maintaining this facility. There are rest rooms, food and even a bait shop here. The beach has lifeguards of duty who are very attentive to the beach. I saw them in action keeping some youths closer to shore than they wanted too. You can also rent beach stuff there as well. There is also a very long pier than you can fish off. Tip: you do not need a license to fish off the pier! There are trash cans and fish cutting stations along the pier. Also this is a great ship watching area when the very large cruise ships come in and out of Port Canaveral. If you are in the area, check the cruise schedule and watch these behemoths go by!

Rip off

By cararro |

I realize that some places have fees, but when we arrived at sunset they wanted $15 for the car’s entry - a whole day’s fee.
Just seemed too much. We drive down the coast and enjoyed our god-given right to the coast.

Addition to Original Review-Expensive Park, Charge Extra for Pets

By layton4vb |

Seeing there is NO WAY on Trip Advisor to edit a review after posting, I have to add this Negative about Jetty Park:
The park is expensive, AND they give no discounts for Passport America, Good Sam, Disabled, SR Citizen. Also, they charge you Extra $2 per day per pet.

Great place to spend the day!

By manipogo |

A great place to spend the day. My wife and daughter spent the day on the beach while my son and I fished off the pier. Lots of people come here to watch ships come and go and just hang out. There is a good food stand in the pavilion (Fish Lips) and a small store with drinks, snacks (+beer wine) and some fishing tackle and frozen bait.

You can rent fishing gear and buy live bait and tackle at the bait shop located on the boat ramp just outside of Jetty Park.

Please extend the pier.

By Eddie D |

For years the fishing at the Jetty Pier has been awful. That’s why everyone goes to Sebastian Inlet. Even though the park is a pretty relaxing place to visit the fishing not so much.
The pier should be extended at least another 50 yards for good fishing.

great view of the port and ocean plus rockets launches

By Perry L |

this is a great area for fishing and enjoying the cruise ships when they go out so if u have family that is going out on a cruise tell them u will be waving to them to get on the right side or starboard side of the ship and if u get to the park before the crowd and watch the rockets go up u have a ring side seat because the rockets do no go up from the kennedy space centre they go up from cape canaveral and what a palce to be when they do so how can u lose they have a camping ground for rvs and a small store to buy some things not much and fishing all day and night and their is a cleaning area for u clean u r catch any way you get the idea but they do charge to get in its only a coupe bucks

Family holidays

By GREGORIO J. |

Excellent service from our waitress Grissel on the beach with good food and drink for me and my family all day. We had a great time

Great new playground

By LuvGod1st |

We live in the Cape, and love coming to jetty park. The new playground is awesome, and has shaded seating for the adults watching their kids. The park has numerous grills, so you never have to worry about not having one available. We enjoy waving at the cruise ships when they leave the port especially Disney 😊. It's a nice place to go and relax especially if you have an annual pass to get in otherwise I think it cost $5/day .

Awesome Hangout

By John H |

Worth the $10 entrance fee. Local hangout with great ocean and inlet views. Clean restrooms and a/c inside the food stand.

Lovely park!

By lisay48 |

Stayed here a week to watch the SpaceX rocket launch. Clean and secure with plenty of walking options, including a long pier and white sand beach with dolphins frolicking in the Atlantic. Has all the amenities and plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

This is a must visit area in Cape Canaveral

By btouro |

Magnificent views of the Canaveral Port inlet, canal, ocean front pier, and ocean beach with lifeguard. A large campground with full amenities is offered, as well as cabin rentals. Full service camp store and a restaurant on site as well as plenty of parking, playgrounds and picnic areas. Adjacent to the Cape Canaveral boat ramp complex. Ideal for families and fishing.

The best area

By William C |

I'm coming to this park every month to go fishing and spend time in the beach is so nice I recommend all family to come

Great in so many ways

By clm714 |

This park has so much to offer. Great place to watch cruise ships, watch space launches, play in sand, stay in tent or RV, fish, swim in ocean, or just sit and do nothing. A bit pricey for most families, yet still a safe beach with lifeguard.

Great beach park

By cmanofcape |

Admission charged, lots of parking, fun to walk the long pier to watch ships, dolphins, turtles, stingrays, launches, or fishermen. Food concession, restrooms, shower, lifeguard.

Relaxing

By Snorkledorf |

What a relaxing place to hang out whether you are on the beach or fishing from the rocks or the pier. This is a great place to also watch the cruise and trade ships go in and out of the port. We were lucky enough to even see a few submarines go in and out of the Trident submarine base at various times.
The restrooms are clean and accommodating. If you want to avoid the crowds Saturday is the day. Fish lips is a food concession , convenience store on the property for your last minutes needs or snacks. They have a nice upstairs for looking at the beach or inlet.

We will be going back soon.
BTW we stayed at the Jetty Park Campground which is very convenient .

Fun, clean and easy

By Maureen W |

Saw a rocket launch and a Disney cruise ship set sail. The pier was fun to walk out on with a great view, especially at night. The beach is clean and walkable. You can walk all the way to Cocoa Beach if you like. We walked half way and got caught in a thunderstorm, otherwise we might have made it. Plenty of parking. Lots of picnic tables, clean bathrooms.

1 night at Jetty Park before cruise.

By 33RFK |

We arrived in Port Canaveral one day before our Disney Cruise and stayed at Jetty Park Campground. This proved to be the perfect spot for our family (wife, 2 kids ages 3 & 2, in-laws and myself) as there was a lot for us to do. They have a beautiful beach which wasn't crowded, a place to grab a quick bite to eat and a pier to fish from. Additionally, they have a really nice playground area for kids. The campground is clean and offers several dorm sized cabins. There are videos of what they look like on Youtube. There aren't showers in the cabins, but there are bath houses that have nice, clean showers. There are two places within a 2 minute walk of the campground offering fishing pole rentals and fishing from the pier is free. Chair and umbrella rentals are also available at the beach. If you are someone who doesn't need the pampered treatment this is an affordable (about $100 per night per cabin) and fun place to stay. It is also only a few minute drive to the cruise line terminals and Ubers are plentiful.

Turned around at the entrance

By Coondog99 |

Our family was hoping to enter for a few minutes to take pictures of the port exit but the attendant told us we would have to pay for a day pass to enter which was too expensive ($20). Good-bye.

Great Camping Area.

By donnaw590 |

Real close and walking distance to the beach and the jetties.
Can go fishing on jetty park pier. Nice place to set up tent for awhile. Also has a country store. Close to 528 on way to airport or Orlando.

You will love it!

By Mary W |

Great place to do it all and even see the cruise ships come in and out of the port. All the big ships must use the channel waterway next to the jetty so you'll get and up close look at some of the beautiful cruise ships as they pass about a thousand yards from this area.
The jetty is also a great place to fish especially within your kids. There is a store for bait and just about everything else all reasonably priced. Nice restrooms and picnic tables too.
There is a fee to come in (cheaper for residents of fl) but it's worth it.
Go check it out you'll be glad you did.

Go weekly to walk on pier and watch cruise ships depart! Fun!

By Rosie D |

Lots of people, playground for kids, free fishing on pier and watching the huge cruise ships is amazing!

Jetty, Beach, and More

By BearFacts |

Jetty Park offers fishing from the Jetty and access to the beach but even though we didn't take advantage of either of these opportunities, we enjoyed our visit to Jetty Park. We walked the Jetty and saw turtles, fish, and a variety of birds. We also saw a Navy ship coming into port with the assistance of two tugboats. There is a small snack bar available along with clean restrooms. There is a large area for picnicking as well. Campsites are offered, too. There is a fee to enter $5 (local) and $15 (non-resident).

Ocean Beach is fantastic

By CorkPopper17 |

Try to make your visit at low tide. Beach is amazing. High tide is also good but less beach :) Easy access to a pier to watch the cruise ships come in and out.

Breathtaking!

By Nicki R |

One of our favorite places that we visited! It was so pretty! We got to see a submarine be pulled in! My boys were completely mesmerized!

Gotta take your friends

By 60SUED60 |

What a view. The park is very nice, with things for the kiddies to climb & jump from. The pier is a nice walk to the end, where you may catch a glimpse of a cruise ship. Plenty of birds & fisherman. The beach looks very inviting. There's a store & information center right there, along with bathrooms...but go on top of the building & check out the view...a place not to miss during your day in Cocoa

Dogs!!!

By LegoDad77 |

Located at the top end of the beach this is a semi-popular spot, you'll see some crowds, but not like near the pier. There is lots of sand/beach for everyone, so don't think you won't have a place to sit and relax.

I shall warn you that some have decided that this is a leash free area despite the signs saying no dogs. I suppose that not everyone can read?

A Great Weekend Destination

By Rhonda H |

This is a park owned by the Port that is adjacent to the waterway the big cruise ships go in/out in Central Florida. It really is pretty cool to be right there as the cruises go in and out, the boats will often blow their horns or Disney ships will play their departure music as campers stand and wave to those standing out on balconies.

The park isn't big, but it serves the purpose of camping. Bathrooms were spotless, and the grounds well kept. The beach is beautiful and many folks came out just to watch the sunrise and then go back to their campsites.

Campsites aren't big or shaded for the most part, but there is shuffleboard, volleyball and a very nice playground for kids. The store is fairly well stocked.

Only reason the park didn't get five stars was the impossibility of reaching staff by phone or email prior to the visit. Three phone messages went unreturned and email was ignored. The store staff were super helpful, and the store was always manned by 2 or 3 staff....so I'm not sure who does the communication for the campground.

Solo vacation

By GaryandMayme C |

This is an absolutley beautiful beach and really neat to watch all the big cruise liners come in and out.

Beach Baptism

By Sasha S |

Our church held the annual beach baptism at this location. It is only approx 1 hour from Orlando. There are public restrooms available and chair/umbrella/kayak rentals available. The beach is cleaned so it is great for little ones to play in the sand. Every now and then a cruise ship will come into the port. This is exciting for little ones as the ships are huge!!

Fun little park

By Bec D |

Great access to the beach and a fishing pier. Came down to watch cruise ships go in and out. Didn't camp here but lots of people were!

Ok beach not amazing

By Fiona J |

Beach rentals $20 for umbrellas $10 boogie board

Water is a bit pungent - hoping it was the seaweed!

Rip Off

By fancyrings |

My husband and I went to Jetty Park last Sunday. Unless you live in Brevard County, you have to pay $15.00 to get in. Yes, there is a nice beach and a pier for fishermen and and a snack bar. But there is no shade, there's only a few palm trees and one or two trees. We approached a covered picnic table only to find out that they charge you $25.00 to sit there. There are many beaches just as nice as the one in Jetty Park, and many have plenty of shade. You can watch the cruises ships but you have to be there at the right day and time. Not worth the price of admission.

Excellent location to view rocket launchings from Kennedy Space Center

By Sandra Z |

Jetty Park was recommended to us as a good place to view rocket launchings. We had an unobstructed view . There is a charge for use of the park, but there are picnic tables, restrooms and a snack bar .

Jetty Park

By Zelia Best |

You’ll have an incredible experience at Jetty Park! We used to own a house in Ocean Woods walking distance to Jetty Park, 20 years ago and those days are unforgettable. Now we’re back to the area and Jetty Park is my favorite spot. You can go fishing there, you can watch the Kennedy Space Center Nasa lift off space shuttles and rockets, you can camp there, very secured and organized and clean, you can see the cruise ships going out to the ocean like a Godzilla in front of your eyes! There are incredible restaurants near by on the water, and inside the park, walks on the beach in a nice warm Florida sun, children are so happy there, as my daughter was, growing up. I highly recommend the Jetty Park to everyone!!! There are little creatures living there such as squirrels, etc and there are cars walking around too, they live there for years!!!
Nice showers to use after you go to the beach, easy parking. My family and friends always had lots of fun there. Take one or few days and you’ll love it! Enjoy

Parking fee a tad high at $15

By Sam Q |

Parking was $8 for a long time but it just jumped to $15 in 2017. If you are staying for the entire day then not bad. Free parking can be found south or meter so if you only have a few hours, I would by pass this park and head a few miles south.

Good for rocket launch but purchase admission before you get there

By minnemommy |

We went here to watch a rocket launch.

Pros: Parking was easy, and we were able to see the launch well. I have trouble walking on the beach, and the pier was crowded, so we were happy to be able to see the launch from the wood platform near the restroom building. This was quite convenient.

Cons: The only way to purchase admission is online. There are signs with a small QR code at the entrance. Because it was a launch day, it was busy, and we were sent out of the park to do the online setup. We were directed to a parking lot where there was better cell signal. Yes, that’s right — you have to pay admission by setting up an online account, but there is little to no cell reception in the park, so we had to go out to a different parking lot, set up the admission, and then get back in the car line. It was a lot of unnecessary confusion. If you know you’re going to go, do this online ahead of time, and don’t expect to get any cell signal once you’re in the park.

Ahhhhhhhh

By Debi B |

If your going to come to the space coast, you cannot miss Jetty Park. We camp there every year, and don’t plan to change anytime soon.
If you come for a day at the beach, there is great parking, lifeguards, umbrella and chair rentals at a reasonable price. They have a snack bar and convenience store.
There is fishing on the pier, you can watch rockets lift off, ships and subs coming in and out.
If you camp , you won’t find a better place, full hook-up or just water and electric. Tent spots are also available. The staff is top notch, don’t come to the space coast without stopping .

Stay here a lot

By vvmae |

We camp here every New Years and at other times thru out the year in our class A RV. Clean park with very close beach access, great playground and fishing pier. A bonus is the store and restaurant right at the beach entrance if you want a snack or even a sandwich. The kids always get ice cream in the store. We enjoy swimming and fishing on the rocks and pier.

Loved it

By carl r |

Jetty park is at the north side of Cape Canaveral and features a fishing pier that stretches out east along the deep canal used by a number of cruise lines. It's alway a treat to visit on Sunday afternoon to watch and wave to numerous huge cruise ships on their way to the Caribbean and Bahamas. Camping and RV Park is one of the best in Florida with all the hookups . It's a great place to unwind on the weekend or anytime😎

Great place that has it all!

By amykF3855SX |

You could rent a cabin, if you're not much of a camper, or just spend the day on the beach. Watch the cruise ships and barges enter the Jetty or walk out onto the fishing pier and catch a native reeling in a shark. They have beach chair rentals and a restaurant if you don't want to pack the car-so just hop in your car for a day trip.

Love this place

By Mike K |

We brought the family out two fish relax after their first week of high school we've been here many times the facilities are clean the staff is great and if you need some AC the store has a giant TV an ice cold AC we were tent camping was a little hot but the ocean breezes pick up at night and during the day we're at the pier or the beach no rain perfect weather we're going to try to schedule a once-a-month on the weekend trip just to hang out and fish the number one suggestion I have is that in the showers they put a bench or table to place your dry fresh items on so everything doesn't get wet when we were in the Keys it was such a great help keeping your towel dry your flops off the floor xcetera cheap fix for the campgrounds but huge rewards for the customers as always we think the staff and their help also there is a new extension of fish lips restaurant over at the old Pavilion right by the beach they serve food breakfast good prices so if you're hungry thirsty they sell beer fishing equipment and bait was it huge step in the right direction since the last time we stayed when they were doing the renovation great job the fish lips foreseeing an opportunity

Nice Park

By Ivette R |

This is a very nice park, beach, playground,
Excellent parking, RV park, picnic tables, a pier and adjacent to the park, they have a boat ramp and a small store that u can buy all the fishing gear if u decided to spend time fishing or just enjoy watching the cruises pass by in the afternoon .
Safe place to spend time with ur kids.
I recommend it for the whole family.

Our 'Go To" beach

By Bradley P |

Sure it's $15 to get in if you don't live in the county. Just look at it that you're keeping some great people employed. parking is good. Restrooms/changing rooms are ok. Small limited selection snack bar and a great boardwalk/beach. Who could ask for more. Get there early on weekends and peak season hollidays.

A get away

By wsw1962 |

This was the first time here. The campground took a hit from Irma but is up and running. The campground is nice. The sites are various sizes so be sure to make sure you fit. Close to the beach and the Port.

Part time surfer

By ObedF4 |

One of my favorite spots when I'm with my wife, children or friends. It is family friendly, there is a life guard on duty. Has a small food/gift/bait shop plus a small camper/campsite and small rental cabins. There's playground, picnic pavilions, showers, bathrooms and changing rooms, fishing areas and if your lucky, you can see rockets launched, submarines and cruise ships. Wow, that's a lot to see and do. Go early, parking goes quickly.

Fun at Jetty Park!!! Awesome few days!!!

By msdet1529 |

Been here in the past with great friends who were camping here with their 5th wheel. Well two years later, we are back. The camp ground is clean, well kept, gated, code will be provided to registered campers, and filled with "happy campers" on this July 4th weekend. Discount for Brevard County Residence. It's a very short walk to the white fine sandy beach and to the water which was clean, warm, and filled with people. The tide was coming in on this date so plant your items accordingly on the beach. The high light of the day was watching three mega cruise ships leave the port on Sunday and sail out to the ocean. They get to the beach area by 4:30-4:45 so get your cell phone cameras ready because it was selfie and photo heaven!!!
We will be back for the next few days!!! Happy 4th of July!!!🎇🎆🎇🎆
Enjoy!!!🚢🚢🚢🏖🏖🏖

Great Park!

By agatha56 |

This park is worth paying to get in. The location is perfect for watching launches and seeing the cruise ships head out and in. The beach is wide so you never feel crowded. They have bathrooms, showers, changing rooms, and a snack bar. We’ve gotten food and drink from the snack bar and it was good.
You are also able to rent chairs, umbrellas, etc. but, frankly, it’s expensive. Even if you’re only there for a day, you’d be better off going to Walmart and buying a cheap chair and umbrella.
If you are here in time to watch a launch, this is an amazing spot.

great fishing spot

By Stacy W |

Great park to fish or just enjoy the beach. It costs $15 for a day pass but to secure a place to fish for the day with no boat it was perfect.

Still my favorite beach

By Maureen W |

My favorite beach in Florida going back decades when my parents would bring me down from the midwest. Of course, there have been many improvements including the really long pier. The beach is a more solid type of sand. There were people biking on the beach, surfing in the water as it was a windy, chilly day when we were there this time. If you are lucky, you might see a launch from Kennedy Space Center (missed it this time).

Renovated and very nice.

By Kenneth N |

Have not been there in a long time, but was very impressed with everything we saw. Great views of the ships.

Great place to watch a rocket launch or just enjoy a picnic or a day at the beach!

By Teresa B |

We traveled to Florida to watch the SpaceX launch from Jetty Park. It was a great choice to view the launch and a wonderful place to spend the day. The day pass for a car is $15. There are lots of small picnic shelters, several bathrooms and there are shower/changing rooms. The beach access is close and there is an endless stretch of beach to enjoy. Walk the pier and watch people fish or see cruise ships and other boats cruising through the channel. Lots of sea life; turtles, pelicans, even an occassional dolphin in the channel leading to the ocean. We ate at the onsite concession Fishlips which had the most wonderful shakes, smoothies, sandwiches, tacos and burgers. Try the fabulous Mahi tacos! The onsite beach store has ice, water and snacks. There is a nice playground for kids. It was definately worth spending the day here instead of the busier Cocoa Beach Pier and probably less crowded.

Excellent Beach & Campground

By EricFromRuskin |

We spent a week camping at Jetty Park last summer. It's a great campground just a few steps from the beach. We went by there this past week and the beach is still beautiful with great surf.

Close to everything on the Port

By cindy h |

We have stayed here off & on for many years, they have quaint little cabins if you dont have an RV & if campground is full they have an overflow on the waterfront w/o power where lots of people come to watch as the cruise ships come & go on the weekends which is quite a scene to experience! Only bad thing is you cant ever reach a live person on the phones but the turn around for a response is pretty short. They do fill up in the winter months so plan accordingly.

Presidents Day Weekend

By Debbie T |

Beautiful weekend weather wise! $15 for parking was a hefty fee for not having any toilet paper in the ladies restroom (Restaurant area) at 11:00am on Sunday, February 17 along with a messy unkempt restroom. We mentioned this to an employee and she told us we had to let the main gate know there was a problem. We used another ladies restroom that was stocked in the morning but was not stocked in the late afternoon. The ladies dressing room door was broken and could not be shut more than half way. In addition, the trash receptacles on the fishing pier were over flowing which was not a pretty sight. I sent an email to the Port Canaveral Jetty Park website on February 19 and I am disappointed that nobody responded. On the positive side, the beach was beautiful, it was fun watching a small shark being caught and we enjoyed watching the cruise ships!

Beautiful park on canal and ocean, large clean beach, great facilities

By Linda M |

We spent a long weekend camping here. Nice clean sites and excellent facilities. The beach is long and lovely. We most enjoyed being at the canal watching the cruise ships and other boats come and go, and enjoy watching the fishermen on the pier.

A great place to visit

By Linda M |

Lovely place for watching the cruise ships, fishing, hiking, camping. A great family environment. I ride my bike there frequently. Now a little cafe too. Cute things at the store for gifts.

great place to cool off on a hot day

By maniac04631 |

fisherman wharf but open to public and fisherman are very open to "tourists" asking questions neat to watch cruise ships coming and going, pelicans, sea turtles swimming around and even the occasional dolphin..restrooms available and are clean beach access too

A Short Walk from the Cruise Port in Cape Canaveral

By Stan B |

Our cruise ship docked at Port Canaveral, FL and we did not purchase an excursion through the cruise line. We decided just to see what we could find nearby and could see what looked to be a beach nearby the port. It was a very easy fifteen minute walk from the ship to Jetty Point Park and the beach. The beach was quiet and not at all crowded and we had met another passenger and her daughter on our walk. The four of us walked up the beach and noted the calm waves as they broke and the fact that relatively few people were on the beach. This is a perfect beach for you if you have small children as the waves are very calm.

We walked almost two miles up the beach and found another footbridge that looked to be headed in the direction of possible shopping. As we cross the bridge, we met a "local" man who gave us a lot of information about the beach and the surrounding area. He also told us about a large turtle who lived in the underbrush on the dunes beneath the bridge. He told us that there was not any shopping nearby but that if we walked through the neighborhood it would take us out to the road and that we would be near the ship for our return.

As we walked through this community we began to hear a very loud squawk from what we thought was an animal in great distress. We could not find any animal in distress but the sound kept coming and we finally realized that there was a large peacock in one of the front yards. Could this be the source of our loud noise? Yes, and it was not just one peacock but many, many peacocks that visit this community as regular visitors! They were beautiful and allowed us to approach them and take many pictures of their colorful splendor. They were everywhere in this neighborhood and we thoroughly enjoyed seeing them!! Residents must be used to having people walk through their community as they were very friendly and even told my wife that if she wanted one of the peacocks... "feel free". I laughed but I was also relieved at knowing she could not sneak one of these birds back onto the ship as much as she would have wanted to.

As we arrived at the front entrance of the community we still found more peacocks across the road at a convenience store where we bought drinks before walking back to the ship. As we had been told, it was an easy walk on the sidewalk back to the ship. With our "new friends" from our cruise, we boarded the ship and enjoyed seeing each other the remainder of the cruise. It was a delightful day and the beach was wonderful. If you are on a cruise and your ship docks at this port, think twice before you pay for an excursion... there is a delightful beach right there for you to enjoy and it does not cost you anything but a little walking. You won't regret it.

Camping near the beach

By Cheri S |

We had site 301 which is one of the nicer spots to camp. Site is deep with lots of shade. The beach is clean and not crowded at all. Watching the cruise ships set sail is an additional bonus.

Easy beach visit

By Whoshr |

Cheap entry and lots of parking. Very good food at the small restaurant/snack bar. Very safe environment. Wooden crossovers to the beach. Beach is very wide with calm, protected waters from rock jetty. Drawback is that it is sometimes kinda dirty due to lack of current and sometimes a little trash around from busy weekends. Will be VERY busy on holidays and weekends with crowds from Orlando. But....only a mile from the cruise ship port so a good beach to visit before or after a cruise.

Nice clean beach

By Stella_and_Kiddo |

Nice huge clean beach. At the time of my visit it was too windy (red flag) to swim but i had nice walk along the beach. Not crowded at all.

A never ending parade of birds, turtles, fish, people, and cruise ships.

By EJL |

The Jetty is a magic place to walk, watch fishing, gape in awe at the numerous pelicans on the breakwater, watch cruise ships come and go, dolphins swim, and wood storks waddle. The park has RV spots, grass fields, trees, picnic tables, play grounds, Fishlips for informal eats, and access to the beautiful beach of Cape Canaveral. If you time it right you can watch a rocket launch right across the water, we did and it was magnificent.

Rocket launches, submarines, ships, fishing, camping and more

By sortasweet |

If you visit the park at the right time, you can see the submariners coming to port or the rocket launches at the cape. Just about any time you can see the dolphins following the ships in the port. If you arrive by bike, you can enjoy the best bike path on the island.

Nice

By gbenn |

Nice clean park with access to the beach. They have camping and plenty of places to fish. It's a great place to watch launches from Kennedy Space Center.

$15 entrance fee for non-local, park at next park

By DiverM |

This is a beautiful park but quite pricy for non-locals. You can park at the next park over with a boat ramp for free. We stumbled upon this and walked over. We didn’t really want to pay $15 to check out the park for 30 minutes. We ate at the restaurant at the park with the boat ramp and enjoyed it.

Jetty Park

By Livia H |

I visited this area on a bus tour .. nothing much happening but it is a beautiful area. It is a private beach so I’m not really sure why we where there.

Nice Park!

By T D |

Decided to stop here the night before our cruise to walk on the beach and watch the cruise ships leave the port. My 11 year old son loved seeing all of that and we had a very nice time. Just be prepared to pay $15.00 per car (we are out of state). I was a little shocked by the price since we were only there for an hour or so but definitely worth the price if you plan to stay for at least a half day or so. A few days later I met a couple who said they parked down the street for free and found a beach access path somewhere. I suppose you can research this ahead of time to save some money.

Somewhat disappointing

By LindaK33844 |

This beach was recommended to me because of the soft, white sand. The sand was hard and made up of crushed seashells. The water was warm but with big waves. There is a surf school held there so the waves are probably big there all the time. Very windy at times. Outside showers but no changing rooms, we used the restrooms to change in. Restaurant was open, playground was closed.

Great time!

By Nancy V |

We had a great time. We were at site #104. The staff was so helpful and friendly. There is plenty to do. Great bike trail, if you don't have a bike there are rentals. Beach is easy walking distance and fishing pier right there. Nice playground for the younger ones or young at heart. Each site has picnic table, grill trash receptacles and my favorite; recycle bin. Made me very happy. There is a nice store and if you can't find it there you can take a short walk on your way to the pier there is another store. Just make sure you have milk, either store doesn't supply it. For longer stays there is a laundry room, I just peeked looked nice, not sure how much it cost. Overall was a wonderful stay, I don't think you'll be disappointed. We could watch the ships come and go. While there we saw Carnival, Disney and Royal Caribbean. Our last day we spoke with an employee while on the pier and we could see a submarine, they were getting ready to leave port. That would had been so cool. We no go, maybe next time. Thank you Jetty Park for a wonderful stay, we will be back.

What a great spot to enjoy so much!

By photoguy_10 |

I believe most people go to Jetty Park for the beach but I love going for the amazing parade of cruise ships leaving on the weekends...probably other days too but I don't know the entire schedule. You may also spot pods of dolphin if you are lucky. Fishing off the jetty must be pretty good too but I didn't see anyone catching anything. The beach is wide, great for skim boarding at the right tide, clean, has bathrooms, food, parking area, great playground, and a campground. Need I say more?

Great place to see a rocket launch if you couldn't be at the space center

By silverbrook |

Ironically we came out to Jetty Park and Pier since there happened to be a night time rocket launch scheduled while we were visiting the area. The park had plenty of parking and a ton of ocean front land so although there were a fair number of people it did not seem crowded. You also had a great view of the port where quite a few cruise ships dock. There is a cute little campground area, a few shops and restaurants in the immediate area as well as a unique casino cruise. You can access the beach and also take a walk along the pier while visiting the park. We met a lot of really great people, a few who lived in the area, and enjoyed the laid-back feel of the area. We were lucky enough to grab a spot at one of the picnic tables close to the water to wait for the launch and met up with some people that had a radio where we could hear Mission Control and the astronauts communicate during the launch, which was amazing. There are some nearby hotels that I will definitely consider staying at the next time we are in Cape Canaveral since we enjoyed the general vibe of the area during our brief visit.

A Great Place to Visit

By Donna C |

Definitely worth visiting--$15.00 all day parking where you can come and go and a cheaper fee for a shorter period of time. The park has: fishing, (you don't need a license here) a beach, a place to eat with air conditioning, restrooms were large and clean, and plenty of shade. All in all--- a wonderful place to spend family time.

Very Pleasant Day

By Bdubs25 |

Very nice, quiet, clean beach area. Yes, when you pull in, you scan a QR code to buy your $15 day pass. You can also buy ahead of time on the port Canaveral website. Then they scan you in at the guard shack. We rented umbrella/ 2 chairs for $20 right on the beach, great idea. Not a lot of activities, but great for a chill day. You can walk out onto the fishing pier or around the park area. One Bummer, we took absolutely nothing to drink or eat thinking we could just go up to “Fishlips” and grab something. Oops, they moved and the building was empty. But all was not lost! Over in the campground there was a small store with drinks and a restaurant called Waters Edge Cafe that had absolutely the best Rueben I’ve ever had. They have several other menu items that looked pretty good too. Note, they are only open until 1:30 pm, so if you miss it, you’ll be eating sand crabs and saltwater. The other bummer, at least for me, no cruise ships! Port was empty, but there were 2 Disney Ships off the shore just floating, so you can dream but not touch. But outside of that, a wonderful place to visit!

Great place to spend the day.

By sgafixer |

This review is about Jetty Park, not the campground next door, which is called Jetty Park Campground. If you stay in the camp ground you get free use of Jetty Park. Gated entrance. $5 per car for locals, $15 I think for out of county. Great fishing, clean beaches. A couple of restaurants and bait and tackle rentals. Covered pavilions and cooking grills. A bonus is watching the cruise ships come and go. It can get blazing hot in the summer months.

Nice beach!

By Joseg01 |

Nice beach and next to the pier for fishing! Wide open space and chairs & umbrellas available for rental until 4.

Punishment fee for cancellation

By Maria H |

I am sure the camp is great. However, we had to cancel our stay unfortunately because we are no longer going to Asheville due to the terrible storm and damage. We cancelled as fast as we could and more than 2 weeks in advance and they CHARGED me a $30. cancel fee.
This is the highest cancellation fee I have ever experienced.
Cancelling trips is never done frivolously and in this case, it was a necessity. This makes me feel like it is not such a friendly place when they can stick you for such a high fee, truly.

Fun in the sun for everyone

By anitaowens1 |

Beautiful beaches and great fishing pier. Beaches have life guards and the pier has a bait shop and store for most of your needs. There is a snack bar and clean bathrooms with showers. Everything you need for a day at the beach and fishing too.

Great walking beach

By Kevin G |

We had a very nice walk on this beach. The views of the surrounding area are pleasant and the beach was not overly crowded. The restrooms were very clean.

Wedding on the Beach

By Gumby1964 |

Beautiful beaches! Clean and not crowded. I was there for a wedding and it was a perfect setting. Parking was fine and there were restrooms.

Weekend Get-Away

By yukonride07 |

One of our favorite places to go for a weekend get-Away. reasonable, and fun place to watch the ships come and go.

Nice Place

By Ray R |

A very well maintained beach and campground, great for the whole family. The camping is more set-up for RVs and trailers as tent campers get pushed to the far-west margins of the property. Stilla nice place to go, and the only camping area that I know of that is so close to theh actual beach.

Wonderful Place for a Park

By Mark J |

I've been coming here off and on for almost 60 years. It wasn't a park back in the old days, just a relatively isolated beach at the end of a sand road from whichh to watch the rockets explode. The surf is fair, the fishing is great, and the views are lovely. It is nice to be able to get a shower and remove the salt stick, grab a quick bite to eat, and have a good place to park. It is relatively expensive, but that does go with the turf.

My favorite Beach in Brevard county but NOT free.

By TravelJunkie |

I LOVE Jetty Park once your wallet endures the hit. This is one of the best beach parks ever and I love beach parks. Jetty Park is so interesting because it has so many different parts to it. There is a public restroom there. There is a great long fishing pier to walk out on anytime of year. There is a lot of space and nooks and crannies for people to gather. There is also lots of grilling going on. Just a great vibe.

Thank you Christina and staff

By J A |

Wonderful trip. A bit quieter through the week days. Good view of the ships and Space X booster recovery. The staff is absolutely awesome and very pleasant. Very good spot (thank you Christina). We just got home (Ocala) and already booked for the fall.

Clean, Friendly, Functional, Fun Jetty Park

By John N |

As a Brevard County resident, we only had to pay $5 to get into the park, so it was a no-brainer visit. The boat launch ramp is outside the park and it is free. The park has plenty of parking, a fishing pier, a gift shop, a restaurant, and plenty of clean and spacious rest rooms. The beach is monitored by a lifeguard. We spent several hours watching the crowds, watching the freighters come in through the inlet, and walking the beach. The fishing pier was damaged during the last hurricane, and it has been partially repaired, so only about one-third of the pier is closed for renovations. Jetty park is probably a better option than a lot of the public beaches due to the clean rest rooms, life guards, restaurant, fishing option, and ample parking. They even have fillet tables on the pier so you can clean your fish. Definitely worth a look-see.

Afternoon visit to watch cruise ships leave

By Michael C |

My brother said this was a good place to go to beach and have light snack lunch. Ordered the blacked burger with fries and a cold beer. Ship leave just after 4:00 along causeway. Take elevator to second floor to view. Ether.

Watching the cruise ships

By matt b |

We enjoyed our day watching the cruise ships leave for their journey. The park is nice. Restrooms are clean.

One night stay for space launch viewing

By Emily M |

We stayed for one night to see the space launch. This is an excellent location to view that from. We saw three cruise ships departing the Port also. The camp sites are close together but we enjoyed our neighbors. The restrooms are clean and well taken care of. The jetty is a short walk from the campground. We didn't go over to the beach area, the pier is still closed for repair due to Hurricane Matthew.

We loved it!

By Global9734 |

We were looking for a beach nearby to spend a day on vacation and we are so glad we picked Jetty Park!
It’s definitely worth the $16 to park and visit. The beach wasn’t crowded at all and there were clean restrooms and a lifeguard present. The water is very clear here too! You can rent an umbrella and lounge chairs right on the beach. We even saw a couple of cruise ships moving through the port which was awesome!

A great way to spend a recreational day!

By Ron M |

Jetty Park has something for everyone to spend a day or days in leisure or actively. There is a winding pathway through trees and bushes that skirts a large pond or walk along the inlet out to the end of the pier ( jetty). You can sit and watch the boat traffic especially the cruise ships as at least 3 leave the harbour daily starting around 4pm. Lots of people fish along the inlet too. Of course you can go to the beach and enjoy all the water related activities or justsoak in the sun. A large restaurant Fishlips provides sit down snacks and takeout. Of course you can bring your own food too. A large camp ground is situated in the park and the RV sites facing the water are exceptional. There is a daily vehicle fee and longer passes are also available. Walking or biking in is a good option.

Rocket launch

By Sarahfay B |

This is a great place to watch the rockers launch or just have a picnic and watch the waves come in. We watched the rocket launch from there it was amazing. I would recommend Jetty Park just for that. There is camping there as well if you want to a weekend trip.

Discriminatory & difficult admissions policy.

By Rick Chapman |

Huge rip off. Admission is $15 per car in advance and must be secured by a credit card AND a smart phone. If you do not have both when you show up you cannot get in. This is extremely discriminatory if one does not have one or both of the above. The pier is really the only thing you get as access to the beaches can be done through any of the public access points in the City of Cape Canaveral.

Jetty Park

By Nancy H |

Hate that there is no discount for Florida residents, handicap or seniors!! Years ago you could buy a pass if you lived in Florida. They got greedy and took that away. They make it hard to go often with a fifteen dollar entrance fee. Even Disney treats us better ❣️❣️It says we as locals DON’T MATTER.

Great place

By N M |

Clean beaches, restrooms, showers at the edge of the boardwalks, beer stores, cruise boat watching, fishing.. the list goes on. If you're local, the annual pass is absolutely worth the money

GREAT PLACE TO HANG OUT

By capt jeff f |

Nice clean park on the inlet coming into cape Canaveral , you can watch people fish or cast a line your self and relax , or watch the boats coming in and out of the port , check it out for yourself ....enjoy life

Annual local camping trip

By Lori S |

We love Jetty Park for our local winter camping trip! This is an exciting park with more than enough to see! Watching the cruise ships go past your site is always a treat! If you get lucky you might see a rocket launch too! Don't forget the beautiful beach and great fishing as well. The staff is friendly and the park is clean. We always invite our local friends over for a night next to the fire and a chilly breeze.
The only issue we have as locals is the availability during "snowbird" season. We have had to reserve a year in advance just to get a 3 night spot in January. Not a great way to treat the local folk. Overall, we love and look forward to staying here every year.

Entrance was a Little Confusing; Beautiful Beach

By Greenmemonica |

This park is at the end of the road, so you kind of just run into it, but you can't just approach the security shack and pay to get in. First, you have to scan the code and pay online. I believe the fee is $15. After you do that, you can get in line and show the paid code to the guard at the shack. They don't want any contact with the people who come. After that, you can head back, and there is plenty of parking beside the pier. The dunes form a beautiful barrier in front of the beach, which is huge and very easy to walk on. It is definitely one of our favorite beaches in the area.

Please clean up the seaweed

By Roadiecpl |

It was a perfect day for my daughter to enjoy the beach. The temperature of the water was perfect and so as the waves, but I had major issues with the seaweed it was clumps and clumps of it, I can understand if I come to encounter small clumps of seaweed in the ocean but these were large and smelly and cannot avoid it. It becomes a safety issue since we don’t know what’s in these seaweeds. The pier is clean and not overcrowded. Whoever thought of placing fish cleaning stations is a genius especially the in-ground fishing rod holder. The people are friendly and willing to give fishing tips, hooks and bait. Compare to the opposite experience at the Sebastian inlet where the people are very aggressive and no class.

Very nice

By clm714 |

Good place to watch launches or to fish or just enjoy the day. Right now part of the pier is shut down due to Irma

Camping, Sunni png, fishing, swimming

By Rose R |

Now this is the place for everybody it is awesome right at the port and you could spend days and weeks there.

It's a secluded haven amidst the city of Port Canaveral.

That is why rated this place five stars.

Great place to fish

By Misty C |

Great place to fish. Play area if you have small children. Restaurant closed early. Nice and quiet area.

Bring the family

By mary ellen j |

This is an incredible viewing spot for launches and SpaceX booster/ faring returns!!
Besides that fishing and just lazing on the beach.
Fishlips has a food "court" within walking distance to the beach and Jetty. Nice addition to the Park!

Good fishing!

By Canuck Jim |

Great pier to fish from. 15 bucks for out of town residents, includes the license to fish. Bring your own bait and you can catch sharks, snooker and all types of other local species. We are dolphins, stingrays and sea turtles as well!

Far More than a Beach

By OfficialSpaceCoast |

Jetty Park is far more than just a beach. From camping grounds to a beautiful fishing pier, this park offers a multitude of amenities that will cover your every need; clean bathrooms and beach showers are just the beginning. Pavilions are also available for rent, perfect for family reunions, birthday parties, or vacation celebrations! Jetty Park is also a great beach for families, with lifeguards year-round and a playground beside the beach. There is also a concessions shop and beach store, so there is no need to leave the park if you forgot something.

One of the best parts about Jetty Park is watching the cruise ships go out in the evenings. The ships pass right by the rocks, and everyone stands and waves to the passengers as they sail away. Also, the fishing pier has the most beautiful views at sunset, and sea turtles are usually seen swimming around at the end. Jetty Park is basically a gem, full of many opportunities to have fun other than the beautiful beach.

Fantastic!

By Truckie351 |

A friend recommended Jetty Park as a great place to photograph a rocket launch from Cape Canaveral. He was not wrong. Their is a large parking lot along the inlet which was packed with hundreds of people. I opted to photograph from the beach. There were dozens of people there but it worked out great. I was able to photograph both the launch and the booster rocket landing back at the cape instead of on a barge in the ocean. Highly recommend this location for anyone wanting to view a launch. Admission is $15 for most people but they do offer discounts for county residents, military, and veterans. As a vet I paid $4.

Beautiful Beach with adjoining Camp Ground

By NicholasG386 |

White sand; surfing-friendly waves; always a life-guard on duty; kid-friendly; clean rest rooms; plenty of parking. This beach is never crowded and a great place to spend time in the sun. There is also a restaurant conveniently located next to the beach area. A family place.

Wow has this park changed through the years!

By Tammy B |

I haven't been here in years, so I thought we'd go for a little visit while in Cocoa Beach for the weekend. I was a little surprised at the $15 entry fee, but did it anyway. There is a little restaurant/ice cream place & a gift shop inside a large air conditioned bldg. Patio out back, upstairs balcony, and bathrooms! Very nicely kept. The pier is accessible from the parking lot or through the back of the building down the sandy paths. There are paths out to the beach as well. Very nice little area out back between the bldg. & the beach. The beach is about 100 yards from the bldg. It's worth the $$ if you can stay to fish, watch the boats go in & out, watch the dolphins, turtles & manatees from the pier, or play at the beach for the day.

Great park for beach visit or shuttle launch

By Wes H |

We stayed in a condo right beside the park and walked in a couple of times. They have a nice store to buy snacks or necessities, parking, a playground, and very nice fishing pier. Best to watch cruise ships sail out here. Also a great viewing location to watch shuttles fly from Kennedy Space Center. We saw the Falcon Heavy from SpaceX takeoff and it was really cool to see the boosters return.

Time away

Came here to enjoy the weekend and loving it fishing and relaxing nice clean park nice people good view for cruise ships coming and going and surf fishing or just enjoying the beach.

Reasonable but overrated

By Debora A D |

The highlight of this trip was the rocket launch early Saturday morning. Reasonable but overrated rv park. If you want quiet than this place is for you. Fishing pier is nice. You can see cruise ships leave port if that excites you. Beach is just average for Florida. We paid in advance for 7 nights. We decided to leave early and gave plenty of notice but policy is no refunds. They kept fee for our dog too. Very inflexible policy considering the place was empty and they did not lose opportunity to rent the space. Before you book for more than one night I definitely recommend paying a day admission and see it first. Staff is hit or miss. On Sunday night one staff person thought it was a bother to get off of her phone and answer my questions. Would not stay here again.

First visit at this location

By MARIE L |

Nice, clean beach. We were here around 8 am so it was pretty quiet. The only people on the beach were the walkers, the runners and some photographers. Easy walk to the fishing pier.

Pleasant Clean Park

By Bev560 |

Our relatives had a stop in Port Canaveral from their cruse ship. We met them there and decided to stay close to the ship for our visit. Jetty Park is right next to the port.

There is a $15.00 fee for a car to enter if you are not a local resident. Parking was easy and very close to the beach, boardwalk, and dock.

The atmosphere is pleasant, easy going and friendly. The beach is clean. We rented chairs and umbrellas. Later we walked the fishing pier. You can rent equipment to fish, and do not need a fishing licence if you want to fish.

If you want a quiet day at the beach, this park is perfect. There are no exciting rides or attractions....just a nice place to visit.

We were there on a week day, and it was not at all crowded.

Beach + Waves

By JeanMichelNYC |

Quite the spot. Best waves to jump into. Great for kids. Despite being so close from the Cruise ship harbor, the park makes you feel you are away from it all.

Nice spot

By Rie760 |

This is a nice walk along a fishing pier. Campground is attached. There are areas for picnics and it is a nice place to spend part of a day.

Great way to spend a day, or more

By Lucky Travel Junkie |

We went to visit some friends that are staying at the trailer park, and it was great. It was a sunny day with beautiful views of the cruise ships, the ocean, the beach, and the campground itself.
Everybody there seemed like they were having a great time either just hanging out in their RV, fishing, walking along the pier (walkway?) or enjoying the sand and water. I would love to go back there and stay for a few days.

Wonderful Family Beach, Park, & Camp

By Sarah M |

This is my favorite place to visit and it's perfect for family, friends, even weddings have happened on this beach. I love to see the sunrise in mornings and sunset in late afternoons which are the best times of the day since the air is much cooler outside. I especially love during the Fall and Winter which the temperature is perfect.

Photographers go there during full moons which are big and beautiful, couples stargaze on the beach at night, great place to watch launches from Cape Canaveral Air Force and SpaceX. Fishermen fish at night and go shrimping during the full moon. Surfers come after the rain.

Also a great place to watch Navy ships and subs come back, cruise ships coming in and out. Generally a wonderful place to be.

Great beach

By Collrin |

This park is amazing. Skip going to Cocoa beach and come here. Free parking and very clean beach. There is an area to change your clothe, bathroom and a shower area to clean all the sand off.

LOVED the location!

By kathyinaf |

We stayed nearby at Holiday Inn Cape Canaveral Club Vacations and loved walking over to Jetty Park to watch the cruise ships depart and arrive in the morning!. Also really enjoyed eating the yummy food at FishLips! Really fun people watching!

Quiet Gem

By parkslopegal |

We discovered Jetty Park Beach on this site and we’re glad we did. We had a day off our cruise and wanted to get away from the crowds. Knowing that everyone goes to Cocoa Beach, we decided on Jetty instead. It’s actually part of the cruise port but was far from the terminal where our ship docked (NCL docks at C10). We took an Uber from the ship and arrived at the Fishlips Restaurant ( there are 2 of these so make sure to go to the one at Jetty Park). The restaurant was closed but we were able to use the restrooms and showers there. There was also a place to get snacks and drinks. There’s a campground and playgrounds too. A very nice guy set us up with chairs and an umbrella which usually costs $20 for the day but since we arrived on the late side and we had to wait for him for a bit, he gave us a 50% discount. He picks up the chairs around 4:30 so if you want to stay later, bring a blanket or a towel. The beach is flat and easy to walk on compared to NY beach sand and the water was clear and calm. The beach is mostly frequented by locals and it wasn’t crowded at all. Everyone was friendly. We watched fishermen, surfers and skateboarding on the beach. Also, the cruise ships depart from the port right next to the beach, which is cool to watch. When we were done, we simply called Uber to take us back to the ship. Nice, relaxing day and we had absolutely beautiful weather!

Our ships came in and we were at the campground.

We watched the cruise ships come and go from our camper in Jetty Park. Just one of the fun things to do there. The beach is really nice. The sunrise there is gorgeous! There are plenty of attractions nearby. Plenty of places to eat. Next time we'll stay longer!

Ever want to be right up close to a cruise ship as it passes by?

By M_Sean_Ba |

Jetty Park has a great pier that you can be at as cruise ships pass by. Most are outgoing from 4-6pm.

Beach, fishing, picnicking, and grilling.

By AlabamaLoveToTravel |

Great day with friends. Would be a great place for families with young children. $15 per car, $5 for residents.

Family Friendly Fun

By Florida East Coast Surf Fishing |

Jetty Park offers great saltwater fishing from the pier or off shore, BBQ grills, Pavillions, Camping, Play Park for the kids, Rocket Launch viewing, Cruise Boat watching, Lifeguards along the beautiful beach, and a walking path and bike trail to get to the park if parking gets crowded. The fall is perfect weather for an overnight at Jetty Park. Tent camping, cabins, and RV. An incredible space! Close to everything east central Florida has to offer, but no need to venture out first trip with so much activity at Jetty Park.

A nice park and a beautiful beach !

By MikeCA_01 |

You'll have to pay 15$ to get in but this will give you access to a beautiful beach and to the Pier.

If you want to spend the entire day at the beach (and fishing) it is worth the money, I think.

Moreover, you could see the Cruises (as the Disney Cruise) entering or exiting the canal close to the pier ...

Can't get in

By Nina H |

Stopped by to check out the park for a future camping trip at the beach per recommendations from friends, unable to enter park, unless we paid 10.00, explained that we wanted to see the different site. No go, given a paper information form

Rocket launch

By Adventurer581143 |

We drove from Orlando to Jetty Park to watch the rocket launch. Best view to watch the launch.
Bathrooms were clean. Lots of board walks to access the beach. Perfect view of the cruise ships passing by.
The only con was it cost $15 to enter the park, but for us it was worth it.

NASTY Beach and Smelly

By sel |

We have an annual pass. This beach was amazing. Unfortunately, it is extremely dirty and smelly. Garbage floating in the water and smelly seaweed everywhere. In addition, you now pay for all this extra nastiness. My suggestion would be to use the money collected to clean the beach. NASTY!!! NASTY!!! The only redeeming part of Jetty Park is the pier. However, it is covered with people fishing and smokers.

Amazing place

By reedk2017 |

Sun fish camp visit local.restaurants
Gamble on the victory boat or just head to the beach .... Oh yea a cold beer on the beach is ok

Inaugural rv trip

By goatie52 |

Great location, good services and friendly operators. Located just opposite the port jetty. Not a great deal of shade unless you make reservations. Really hot the week we were there and busy. Great stay!

Nice spot

By Cynthia B |

Nice spot to watch cruise ships coming and going. Beautiful long pier going out a long way out into the ocean.

Could have been better

By Peter V |

We drove here to take in the sunrise on the beach. It was a nice sunrise but, the beach itself was below average for Florida. There was a lot of red seaweed in the water and on the shoreline. The water was a little cold for August and we had these tiny bugs biting us.

Clean and pretty park for the whole family

By MandyJane |

Jetty park has a beach and a place to put a tent or an RV. There are pavilions for meals and a small restaurant if you don't want to cook. You can see the cruise ships go by. Fun place to visit and relax.

Great park on the ocean

By Mom NJ |

If the ocean is a little rough from the summer storms, just take a trip over to Jetty Park. It is always safe for the little ones here in the water. The sand if pure white and super soft. It is just a great beach for small children. There is also a nice little place to get lunch and public restrooms. It is a special bonus if there is a space shuttle launch, this is the perfect viewing area.

Great Getaway with Hidden Treasures

By Tom L |

Stayed 4 nights. Secure environment even though in a public park. Sites are a bit small but adequate for large RV's; full facilities available; a few spots with shade, but limited; staff very friendly. Entrance to the park is $15 for non-residents, but waived for camping. Located next to cruise ship channel so can see departing ships up close from Port Canaveral on Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Was fortunate to see rocket launch early Friday morning from Cape Canaveral AFB which is right across the ship channel. Park right on Atlantic Ocean.

Great beach and traveler friendly!

By Marcia W |

Beautiful beach. Nice selection of food and beverages. Not over crowded. Reasonable rental rates for entire day. Loved walking out into water with shallow spots.

Beach & Fishing

By 287Sylvia |

Great place to relax and sun on the beach, or swim in the ocean. There's also a great fishing pier. Plenty of picnic tables and pavilion areas. Very nice place!

Great view for a rocket launch

By Jill H |

We watch a rocket launch and enjoyed the beach! It was a great place to view the launch and watch the ships leave the port too!

We live here and visit every weekend for a beach walk

By Kimberly T |

Best value for locals that don't live on the beach. Has Wash Stations, bathrooms and even a restaurant on site.

Great for swimming & ocean play

By Bill G |

This beach was right behind our vacation club and since it is next to the jetty the beach is relatively flat and makes it nice to wade in the ocean. I did walk the beach for 3 miles to Cocoa Beach and noticed that the shore was much steeper and not as easy to wade.

Nice park

By sitv |

The facilities are well kept and their is zero pests, other than mosquitos to deal with. Easy access to the water. Lots of friendly campers and regulars.

Pier fishing

By Rich K |

Great Pier to fish off of. They rent poles here also and sell bait. Pier has no shade and it gets hot so a hat or a chair with a shade would be a good idea.

Very Nice Park

By patrickjladden |

Have been to jetty half a dozen times and there is always something going on there to hold your interest. I usually bike there from Cocoa Beach and then don't have to pay the nominal entrance fee. There is a gorgeous beach, a fabulous fishing jetty now re-opened after repairs from the hurricane last fall. Good food, and a great placs to see the cruise ships go out of the port.

Gotta give the beach 5 stars!

By Matt S |

I love Jetty Park. We always walk the beach and the jetty is our turn-around point. Normally we can grab a drink, but this time the service at the snack bar SUCKED! WE waited 10 minutes in a 5 person line, and it never moved! Oh well, no drink for us. Still the park is great. Very clean.

Great Beach, Pier and Park

By theKnottravelers |

We really enjoyed visiting this park. The cost was $15 per car. There was access to the beach, snacks, restrooms, bait stand and fishing pier. They also had a playground for children. It was fun to watch the boats of all sizes going in and out. We loved our time spent here.

Nice a clean beach

By diggy d |

I you walk away from the jetty you could find a nice quit place to sit with out a lot of people.
Near the Jetty you can see all the big cruise ships. great place for the kids.

Been coming here for 30+ years...

By Anthony C |

As it says, I've been coming here since I was a child, and now I take my kids. It is great for fishing, swimming, lounging. The place is affordable. There is an entrance fee, and if you're veteran, there is (was) a discount to enter. The on-site shopette isn't outrageously priced.

The location is perfect and directions are easy...take the B-line to the end.

I've camped here probably 5 times, which makes sunrise swims so much fun. My brother tells me they added cabins, but the wait for one is a long to secure one, but I can't wait to ditch the soft sides. I can wait.

Good beach close to the port

By Often_disappointed |

Jetty Park is literally right next to Port Canaveral, so you get the pleasure of a large safe beach, but you can also just jump on the fishing pier and causeway area to watch the biggest and newest cruise ships entering and leaving the port.

You have to pay to enter, so be prepared for that, but parking is plentiful and easily accessed. There are good facilities like restrooms, showers and snack bars in the park.

Good beach, great for families and easy to get to.

Nice! Park, Pier, Swimming!

By Michael F |

Clean beach, restrooms, small but nice concrete fishing pier, folks were catching small hammerhead sharks, I did not see the entire park so read other reviews too. We enjoyed our short time here. Even saw some butterfly rays swimming off the pier!

Nice park

By Fgator |

Beach...fishing..on port canaveral. Facilities are good. You can have a cookout with a group. There are good restaurants nearby.

Great camping and beach area.

By jghackerboy |

We use the park often with friends and grand children. Easy parking good restroom and food from Fishlips is always great. Just to watch cruise ships on weekends is fun for a break.

My favorite Brevard County Beach

By StevieKThegreat |

Having an annual pass and being close to home makes this local beach my favorite! Love the amenities, talcum powder soft sand, pier, and soft surf. Highly recommend it to all travelers especially if a rocket is launching from the Space Coast!

Spent the day fishing.

By src1962 |

We drove over for a day of surf fishing and relaxing with the grand children at the beach.
The beach wasn't very crowded so it was a pretty good day.

Brevard gem

By William P |

Jetty Park is located at the most easterly and of Port Canaveral. It offers the beach, a fishing pier, plenty of picnic areas and one of the fish lips restaurant to go with also a bait store. You can bring your camper there for a nominal fee. They also offer small cabins that you can rent. There's something there for everyone and is a fun place to go to. They also have lifeguards at the beach.

good campground

By cowtown036 |

tent area is shaded and large sites. trash can on your site. no firepits in the tent area. also seems to be the dog walking area, even tho no pets are allowed in the sites.

Great place to spend the day

By llv1218 |

Jetty park is a great place to enjoy the beach with facilities nearby that are clean. Fishing jetty is included in your admission to the park. Also a good place to watch launches from Kennedy Space Center and watch the cruise ships go out in the afternoon.

One of my favorite parks!

By Karlota_19 |

This is such a pretty place. It's fun to watch ships and boats come and go. The concession stand has good food. The beach is beautiful. There is a fun playground. The observation deck is worth checking out. We saw dolphiufrom the pier.

Got it ALL!

By SkeeterbaitFLA |

Beaches, Space center, great food and people. Always a great time to be had at Floridas east coast. Oh, and don't miss the cruise ship parade every weekend!

We saw a launch.

By Mary F |

It's a great park with paved parking and short walk to beach. The sand is soft and white. There is room on the beach for everyone. We saw a nesting turtle/ tortoise from a distance of course.

RIP-OFF!

By Alfredo S |

Jetty Park is NOT a state park. It's a beach park just like any other and should therefore be free! Private enterprise is once again capitalizing on Florida residents!

peaceful

By Michelle L |

We have been coming tho the area for almost 10 years and we finally ventured to see what is was all about. Great views, saw dolphin swimming. Cruise ships will go right by you!. Fishing is popular.

Beach

By Barbara |

Really not much to say it is an average beach but it cost money to park. It was crazy because it is just an average beach.

Great to watch ships and rockets

By Anne Marie B |

thank God no dogs! The grandkids got no poop on their shoes, and no grass with poop stains impossible to pick up. Like no smoking zones, no dogs allowed is a plus, not a minus. Smoke bothers those in proximity, so does dog du!

Camping is some of the best around!

By Libbins78 |

We've been camping here many times over the past year and a half. Perfect location between the Port and Canaveral Beach with access to both. Concessions on the beach and a camp store by the office mean you barely have to leave - perfection...

Campground

By dbunk1002 |

Great place to camp if you like being close to the ocean. Staff is very helpful and pleasant. I had an issue with my credit card, not Jetty Park's fault, and they worked and worked and helped my get it all fixed. Phillip even opened the office after hours to help me get thinks straight. Highly recommended.

Nice way to spend some time

By Rob C |

Great view form the peir, a nice relaxing walk. You can stay on site with an RV for the day and there were lots of people fishing.

Great park

By chrisc1978 |

Very nice park, very clean and plenty of space to do things from fishing to watching the boats pull in and out, beach area as well

Fun to watch the ships depart

By 648skessler |

We went to the Jetty Park on a Friday in January. We saw Carnival, Disney, and Norweigan depart. It was fun waving to the passengers as the ships went by and made us anxious for our own cruise on Harmony of the Seas on January 19th. We saw a small sea turtle swimming over by the pier. Several people were enjoying fishing from shore, and also the pier. The beach is also part of the park. It was windy, so there were plenty of waves.

Quiet and near home

By Luisa C |

Perfect for a simple and quick escape from Orlando. Near to us, beautiful and quiet beach. We recommend a lot.

A nice place to spend a day for a family

By LAX-HKG |

We came here because this is one of the few places in the area that has a fishing pier and a beach for a small kid. Our family enjoyed spending the day here. My son had lots of fun fishing at the pier; he caught 9 fish! My daughter had fun playing in the sand and jumping the waves. Pretty good amenities including a cafe, flush toilets, a shop that sells fishing and beach gears. It also has a pretty good playground that my daughter enjoyed. The bonus is the opportunity to see cruise ship sailing out of the harbor!

Great beach!

By twowisekids |

Not super crowded. Short walk from parking. Restrooms and small restaurant. Plenty of room to spread out on the beach. Clean.

Short visit to the beach

By trish87301 |

As a Florida native who now lives out of state, I always enjoy a trip to the beach. This is one of our beautiful beaches. We came during the week, so it was not busy. Of course we took a walk out on the jetty. It's alwo a fun place to camp, even if we didn't camp this trip.

Jetty park beach

By Angelagonzalez |

Beautiful beach. Not over crowded. Waves were not to rough for my toddlers or teens. My husband was able to roll my wheelchair all the way to water. It does cost 15$ if your not from Brevard county. But was well worth the memories.

Jetty Park Pier Port Canaveral

By marci2018973 |

We stayed at a condo on Cocoa Beach and walked the beach to the pier. Long walk for us but so worth it. The views from the pier were amazing! Sand so soft and white, so many large rocks! Got to see a few boats going out to the ocean.

Watch the Cruise ships!

By Tiffany M |

We wanted to watch the cruise ships leave...great view, but it cost $15 to park. The beach area is nice, we enjoyed a walk.

Great beach!

By Chris H |

Jetty Park is a very nice beach area that also has several shops and a bar that serves food. This would be a great place to take the family fora food time.

Fishlips closes too early

By Charlene C |

As a local, we love Jetty Park. We have an annual pass and go there often. We just wish there was a place to get a soda or an ice cream after 6pm. Fishlips was closed up at 5:45pm last Sunday. Should stay open later especially in the summer

Beach

By Tresa T |

Nice to go to the beach for the day I think it was $15 for non resident, but you can park near bathroom and walk to beach. There is also camp grounds a camper hook ups.

Nice park

By neptunechic |

lots to do here, fish, see a rocket launch. swim. beautiful. Pack a lunch and lots of waters. It gets very hot out there.

Beautiful spot!

By pamcatznfish |

We like to ride our bikes to Jetty Park (no entrance fee for bikes, in addition to good exercise). The pier was closed for repairs, but we enjoyed our visit anyway. We saw two kinds of herons, white ibises, wood storks, and lots of brown pelicans. We love to watch the pelicans dive for fish! Did you know they have a feeding station for areal cats in the park? A plus for a cat lover like me! We are looking forward to the pier reopening, and will visit again on our next trip to Cape Canaveral.

Nice place to go an relax

By Ed Symbouras |

I had a Pleasant experience fishing off the jetty I did catch fish unfortunately it was a rainy day
I was disappointed with the convenience store an the restaurant was closed
It was a cool experience to see all the Cruise ships leave the docks
The next day was better weather and I fished off the pier I didn’t have much luck though
The scenic view of the beach and the inlet was really pretty
Overall I’ll be back
By the way looks like campers have a nice setup there

Quiet and clean

By unhappy496 |

The beach was clean and the views were very nice. The pier was the same as it always was. Good view for looking down the beach.

Nice way to spend the day

By JPLatina |

My kids love it and I enjoy the sightseeing. It's nicely kept and plenty of size for my kids to tire themselves out.

Very clean beach

By Lisa S |

The $15 parking fee was well worth it. The beach was clean and almost like it was our own private beach. Lifeguards were on duty so we felt secure. There were nice outdoor showers to rinse off with. The bathrooms were nice and we were able to change into our swimsuits. There is also good food at the Fishlips grill.

A great place to watch cruise ships go by

By lovetotravel876 |

This is a beautiful beach for a long walk and to watch the sunrise. The sand is clean and easy to navigate both on foot and by bicycle. There are many options for accommodation backing onto the beach including hotels and condos for rent.

Pier

By karen m |

Wonderful place to relax..watching cruise ships coming into port and leaving. Nice place to fish and you don't need a license. Ever so often, if you are real lucky you get to watch a submarine come in or leave.
