Our day at Knott's Berry Farm started off a little stressful because there was a long line to get into the parking lot and the lots were pretty spread apart. We got stuck in the wrong lane and ended up in the lot by the hotel, which was a HIKE to the main gate. It was very difficult on grandparents.
We had a San Diego Go! Pass, and general admission was included. We paid the extra money for the Fast Lane and it was well worth it! On some of the rides, like GhostRider and the Calico River Rapids, the wait was between 90-120 minutes by noon. Speaking of GhostRider ... as far as wooden rollercoasters go, this is one the BEST I've ridden! It was a long ride (in a good way) and full of dips, drops and turns. It was our favorite ride, and thanks to Fast Lane, we were able to ride it four times! We made the mistake of riding on this first, so when we got to Jaguar! it was more like a purr than a roar. Sierra Sidewinder was also a lot of fun -- it spun! Pony Express was also fun but tame compared to GhostRider; it was a unique experience b/c the seats are "horses". We didn't do the loops because my 8 y/o wasn't quite ready for that next step.
There were also quite a few family rides that my elderly parents were able to ride with my 8 y/o, including the bumper cars and the Cole Mine Ride, which she found scarier than the rollercoasters because most of the ride was in the dark.
I didn't love all the food options, but rarely do amusement parks offer anything other than hamburgers, chicken tenders and hot dogs. There is a popular chicken restaurant just outside the entrance, but the wait was very long. I didn't realize that you could make reservations in advance, so if we ever did go back, I would probably do that.
I saw that there were quite a few reviews that the ticket price was high. Had I not had this included in my Go Pass, I would probably agree. Knott's Berry was a really fun day for us, but not for the full admission price; and I def think if you like thrill rides, you have to buy a Fast Lane pass otherwise you might not have the time or the patience to wait for all of them. There is also a $20 fee to park, and the walk was super long to the entrance.

Knotts employees are very rude. The lines are ridiculous, my family only got to ride 3 rides in only 7 hours. My siblings and cousins were sad and my parents, uncles and aunts were furious.
I would avoid this park at all costs unless you wanna spend over $300 and wait in 5 hour lines.

Well, my son is a ride engr in training (not kidding getting degree in Aero space engineering, with side hobby of riding/redesigning coasters)...so we hit the Farm while in LA for his sisters grad. from USC. I had gone 60 yrs ago when I was a pup, so it was a return visit for me. He decided to make Knott's Berry his designated park to ride his 100th coaster, and he rode Ghostrider 3 x's. (got pics to prove it)..We made tix res thru the website not the easiest to navigate, we went on saturday so we expected it to be packed. Tix prices fairly reasonable compared to the Mouse (do have senior tix prices), but the expr pass is off the charts expensive. I guess they either hammer you on tix prices or the exprpass, now having said that the lines ranged from 15 mints- 4 HRS. yes you read that right, the most popular water rides on hot day 3-4 hours ALL DAY LONG. So we only got the exprpass for my son, and it was worth every penny of the outrageous price.
We arrived mid morning, and was out the door by 5pm, ate at Boardwalk BBQ and it was really good...in closing lots of TA folks are hammering the parks for staff shortage/being dirty, I have to say this park is spotless, I literally didnt see litter at all... staff is plentiful either cleaning, collecting spent items, or actually helping/talking with the park guests to assist them to enjoy their visit. Knotts Berry is owned by Cedar Fair, but they should sent managers/staff to the FARM, to see and study how to do it right in these park challenging times. Move over Mouse, Knotts Berry is JAMMIN.

Do not go. Ride wait was 90 minutes for the simple rides. 2 hours for Ghost Rider. I never got to go on GR. 5 rides in 7 hours at Park.
Very few people at the park. Confused 🤔. Why the long lines?
Management must have scheduled no employees. As I watched the ride attendant (singular), that individual took over 15 minutes per ride cycle.
I wanted to complain so I stood in line with 15 others customers at Guest Services. After twenty minutes, I walked away. Only two people rotated in. Probably 1 employee doing the job of three employees.
Mismanagement, understaffed, poor processes, and what seemed like the core issue... No customer focus. These are reasons not to go to Knott's Berry Farm.
In the past, Knott's Berry Farm was my favorite. Not anymore.
Stay away people. Forewarned!

Horrible time at Knotts, park is over run with school groups that have no care in the world and staff that let them do what they want. At one point teens were yelling back and forth at groups as they wrote there Instagram accounts on the ride line walls. We mentioned it to a close by staff person who just shrugged our shoulders.
We were a family of six trying to enjoy our expensive day, we felt harassed by other young unruly guests. Why would knotts want to attract this kind of groups??
Park was filthy, young groups just throwing trash in ride line ups.
Ghost rider kept breaking down, including first ride of the day where it took over 2 hours to get through.
Rapids ride is so boring, compared to other parks. Log ride was fine but not great.
Highlight was the chicken on the way out of the park.
Knotts bring back a good family experience and some pride in your park.

After many years of wanting to finally go to Knott's we went during the 10th anniversary of the Boysenberry festival and loved it! The food is so good and the portions are HUGE. You could easily return 2-3 times for the same festival, so much fun! We loved interacting with the staff and entertainers. I really can't say enough good things about it!

Was too busy on this thursday. App waittimes does not work. We did not gor the chance to get into 1 attraction. Wait times over 90 minutes.
Next time Disney would be better

$20 parking. We had 2 bottles of coke which they wouldn’t allow us to take into the park- can only take in water and Gatorade apparently!! Also no food allowed to be taken in so u have to pay their extortionate prices. Queues ridiculously long so we ended up leaving after a couple of hours as all thrill rides over 1hour wait. Staff unfriendly so won’t return.

The rides we did were good, but waits were definitely long. Ended up buying passes to do the last two rides we did to save a few hours of waiting. Park is clean and well kept, Snoopy area is adorable.
Visited this park as part of a Disneyland trip and took the OC bus to and from. Stops near the park entrance and an easy walk.

your mabel employee is rude, she seems to need training, i understand it must be hard working there or if someone else put her in a bad mood but when i asked questions, she came off very condescending and i didn’t appreciate that. this isn’t the only employee that has acted this way. it’s very weird. also with covid, in just the 5 mins i was there, there were people without masks inside buildings so they’re clearly not enforcing policies.

I went to Knotts berry a few weeks ago. Overall the rides are pretty fun and we had a pretty ok time, however the park has some issues. First off the lines are very long after 1 pm with wait times from 1 hour to 3+ hours. We waited in the ghost rider line for 3 hours. Secondly the park need to have some better line management. In every line we had multiple groups of 3 or more people cut through the line saying they were "meeting their friends". I don't know when this became a common practice but we had at least 30 or more people cut in front of us while standing in lines. If you are going to meet your friend, have your friend meet you. Don't cut in front of 60 people. It is very frustrating especially when you have waited hours to get on a ride and you see some jerk cut through the line and get on the ride in 5 minutes. Lastly at night time the crowd seemed to change, the park was less family friendly and more older teenagers and cops/security. When we were in a ride line, a fight broke out that was broken up by security with the people being removed. Probably wont be coming back here unless we come really early on a week day and leave early to avoid the crowds.

Travelling with friends and we purchased online tickets for a Saturday night. Arrived there to find complete bedlam and traffic gridlock. Roads closed, no warnings or signs of where to go. After 2 hours of driving around finally got to the parking entrance, followed directions to find a closed parking lot!! They obviously just keep selling tickets with no regards to capacity. We had no choice but to leave and an email to their ‘help desk’ for a refund is still ignored 3 days later. Disgraceful for a business this size to act like this.
Stick with the organised parks if you want to actually get in and get what you paid for.

This is one of the spot to hit if you're driving from SD to LA and love thrill rides. We were so lucky that the day we went, there was no line up at all. We were only there for the afternoon. We went to LEGOLAND in the morning and drove to Knott's after our visit and we still had time to do all the rated 5 thrill rides. If you're visiting in May do not do the log one that splashes you... it's not fun, the water is cold and I got sick.. and people can pay at a spray station and spray you!! some of the rides were often out of order for a short period, which is a bit annoying, but since there was no lines we just went to another ride. but never the less, it's my number 1 site during my visit!! I LOVE LOVE the rides!
Parking is kind of far from the entrance.. We paid for parking and probably shouldn't have.. If you're staying in a hotel close to the park, check the distance and it may be similar distance from your hotel parking to the entrance... which was the case for us, but we didn't know, so payed for the parking..

"Go to KBF!", they said. "It'll be fun!", they said. But what they didn't say is how soul sucking the lines can be. We went on the Monday of Thanksgiving week, which apparently is a draw for many local kids out of school, or school groups on their KBF outing day. Lines happen in amusement parks, sure. But when you have an app that communicates wait times, try to keep it accurate. Also, it just rubs me wrong to have a park entrance fee to only have a Fast Pass be pushed that costs more than the entrance fee. I don't really think it is worth a $200 day.
And on top of that, KBF ran a meal deal promo that seemed pretty good. We did save money by purchasing that meal deal, but figuring where it can be used, and where it cannot be used was super confusing. If you don't want all food available for one price, fine. BUT MAKE IT CLEAR WHERE IT CAN OR CANNOT BE USED!
As for a park, I like KBF and the ride selections. I would consider going back if I could ensure getting on all the rides. But again, I don't think it is worth a $200 golden ticket.

While looking for something fun to do in Southern California for the day we stumbled across park tickets for $40USD each. Ive never seen a theme park this cheap so we jumped at the chance to visit.
Parking cost $20 and as it turned out there were maybe only 20 cars in the lot. There is a 10 minute walk from the lot to the park gate with a tunnel under the main road separating the two.
We visited on a Tuesday in March and the park was a virtual ghost town. Barely anyone there.
This turned out to be great because there were no lines for anything.
This park has a wooden roller coaster called the Ghost Rider. This was a huge factor in us deciding to visit but unfortunately it was closed. I do not have the best luck getting to ride wooden coasters.
All other rides and attractions were open. There is a mix for the whole family, from extreme thrill rides like the Xcellerator and HangTime to kids rides.
The highlights for me personally were the Pony Express and the Log Flume.
The Pony Express is unique in how you site on the car and makes the ride really thrilling. I wish it were longer because it is so much fun to ride. We ended up riding it about 5 times in a row. Pick the front row for the best experience.
The log flume is also really unique. If you have been to a theme park you will have been on a log flume but this one is different. It has indoor parts with animatronics not unlike 'Its a Small World' at Disneyland, there is a drop in complete darkness, you pick up a bit of speed and there is a huge drop at the end, all this without getting too wet.
The park is not as big or exciting as something like a Six Flags but for the price I feel like we got really good value.
Not sure that I would visit again but we still had a great day out and would recommend visiting if you haven't been before.

We visited Knotts for the first time in many years and were disappointed to find all the shows closed on the Winter weekday when we were present. There is an array of roller coasters and other thrill rides but just not much to see or do for the 55+ age group. We walked the whole park, went on a few slow train rides and ate at Mrs. Knotts and called it a day. This is clearly a youth oriented venue more like Magic Mountain. We won't bother to go again.

I never leave reviews, but after yesterday, I'm going to.
We have season passes and my daughter has a fast pass. We live a couple of hours away, so a fast pass is necessary to get in all the rides she wants. Yesterday was the biggest waste of time. Even with a pass, lines were 45 minutes, that's triple what she's ever had to wait. While that isn't a big deal, they had 2 major rides closed, and the rollercoaster went down. There aren't a whole lot of other rides, so everyone has to go to the rides that are open. I talked to a guy coming out of the rollercoaster line and he said they had been in line for 3 hours and his kids had to use the restroom. I felt really bad for all of the people having to stand in the lines, it's totally ridiculous. The rides had a ton of empty seats, and no one was there to make people go. I'm not even sure the single rider line was open on the rollercoaster.
The food was as slow as usual, we expect the wait. We have a meal pass, so we have to wait. Otherwise, pack a lunch and save your time and money.
We got hot and frustrated, so we went over to soak city. The place was packed. My daughter never did go on any slides, as the lines were ridiculously long. We enjoyed floating in the lazy river and the wave pool.
I just can't recommend anyone go right now. Unless you buy fast passes, you'll never get enough rides in. If standing in lines is not a big deal, then you'll be fine. Check to see what rides are closed, because if there are some closed ones, that means longer lines.
Camp Snoopy is a zoo with really long lines. Not a fun time for little kids.
I understand that the parks lost a ton of money this last year, but opening up the gates to every person that wants to go, makes it miserable for everyone. I don't understand how they can be short staffed when there is a city full of teenagers that want to work. Maybe they need to re-evaluate what the employees get, in order to make it a more inviting place to work.
We'll be going back, just because we have passes, but if we didn't, there's no way I would spend my money there. Maybe it will get better this winter, but with school, our trips are limited.
Save your money and go to the beach.

Just came back from Knotts Berry Farm and stayed at the Knott's Hotel on the boysenberry package. Stayed in Snoopy Room which me and my family enjoyed. Felt that the package was a fair deal.

Visiting this park again after several years, a friend and I spent a day here. The park was very crowded, and line cutting was a big issue.
Most of the rides were open, and they seemed to be in good condition. The grounds were clean, and the employees were generally friendly.
Food prices were high, typical of amusement parks. Food quality was okay.
Overall, I give our visit here an A-.

Park closed at 8pm instead of Disney 12MN means time waste on qeue is best solve by paying more for express lane pass . Gifts pricing is lower than Disney which is nice.

I visited Knott's Berry Farm for the first time on Jan 11, 2024. Parking was a bit hard to figure out (not many signs and a lot of parking lots were closed). After we found a parking spot, entering the park was smooth. However, there were no paper maps available. Workers said the park is now "all digital"... ok, but who wants to pull their phone out constantly to look up where to go? Plus I like to keep a park map as a souvenir of the trip. This seemed like an odd cost-cutting measure.
The Ghost Town area of the park was so well-themed and fun to explore. GhostRider is a great, lengthy wooden coaster (we were allowed to wait separately for the front row). Pony Express had the longest wait (30 mins) for the shortest ride (had to be less than 30 seconds). Churro ice cream sundae (with boysenberries) was delicious! We sat in the picturesque Wild West-themed saloon to enjoy this treat. The water rides in the park looked fun but were understandably closed due to it being colder weather in January. Silver Bullet had no wait and was an awesome inverted coaster. Jaguar, Coast Rider, and Hang Time were fine but forgettable. Didn't try Xcelerator due to long waits. The boardwalk section of the park was spacious with no waits for the pleasant glider/scrambler rides.
On the way out, we picked up some slices of Knott's famous tasty boysenberry pie to-go. Overall, Knott's is a welcome SoCal alternative to the Disney/Universal machine. There is excellent theming, strong roller coasters, low crowds, and good food. I would return in the summer months to try their water rides (and more boysenberry treats).

Probably my most disappointing theme park experience. This was the first time I have been back to the park since Cedar Point purchased it and turned it into a park geared to younger people. Reservations were required to control crowds and I'm not sure why since the park was extremely crowded.
We arrived shortly after the park opened and immediately got in line for the GhostRider rollercoaster since I grew up with wooden coaster and read great reviews. I was not disappointed in the ride but I had to stand in line for over two hours for my turn. There is a fast past option available but not worth $90.
Finding your way around the park was difficult. There were no printed maps and there were no signs pointing to activities that you see in other parks. I guess you were suppose to use your phone.
My wife rented an electric wheel chair and she planned to go on some of the rides. Unfortunately when we rented the wheel chair we were not instructed to go to Guest Services to get a form needed to use for handicap access for rides. We had to return to Guest Services to get the form for her to get to ride after being denied access .
It appears that only the original restaurants are available for eating which couldn't handle the large crowds (could also be a short staffing situation). Lines to eat were up to one hour.
We will not return.

This would be a great park to tie in with Disney as it is literally 15 minutes away. You could literally spend the whole day here. The park is full of fun and has lots of rides for children, along with the thrill seekers (as my picture suggests, I am not a daredevil!!). Highly recommended

Buck for bang this is spot on, just before the season kicks off, tickets less than $30, queue times were short, not too busy. Lots of rides and attractions for all the family/ages. The park was clean and tidy, the staff were polite. The food I bought in the park was tasty, food hygiene was observed but it was massively overpriced for example it was cheaper to by a coke than a small bottle of water.
My advise take a picnic, get an early start and you’ll have a great day out... You must do the ghost rider rollercoaster.

You spend the day in long lines handle by not well trained employees that take their time loading people into the rides. They do it so slowly that you want to just leave, kids get bored and frustrated, the ride is fewer than 5 minutes and they wait in line for at least 50 minutes in the best escenario
one line took us 2 hours
Lines even in filthy restrooms
Not enough employees, to difficult to get around, no signs and very tricky entrances to the rides
Worst $500+ spend in my life!
Not going back again

Had so much fun at Knott’s! I went on Ghostrider, it is fun but a little scary. First drop puts your stomach in your throat, the airtime is awesome, best ride at Knott’s.

Accidentally bought tickets online for the water park, but bought food voucher for the theme park. Visited customer service to make the exchange but they gave us a hard time. This was no cheap day trip! Tickets for a family of 6, plus meal plan for 6 was not worth it. We went with a 18 month old, 4 and 5 yr old. The park was ok for toddlers but probably more suitable for bigger kids. The meal plan did not include a drink, and the fact that every bathroom I visited (which was a lot since I have the little ones) was NOT well maintained....was disappointing. Parking was also quite far, but there was no trolly. I’d be in no rush to go back to this place. Nonetheless....our family made a good day of it.

We spent three hours here until closing on a Sunday night, plenty to see and do, loads of food and drinks options. Not to many queues. Or at least the night we went, I think one roller coaster we waited 15 minutes, that was the longest wait.
Worth a look, we stayed next door and so very easy to get too.

Don't go to their Halloween event, it's over priced and over sold, making for an unpleasant experience in the park. Compared to the scare mazes you find across Europe, the ones at Knotts were below average.
Great by day, but just avoid their Halloween event.

Great place for every age and to keep everyone happy and entertained as well as full! love knotss its better and cheaper than disneyland and their food is way better too!

Opened in 1920, Knott’s Berry Farm is one of the nation’s oldest theme parks and since it is located within the greater Los Angeles metro area, is also one of the most visited. I enjoyed several hours in the park with one of my teenagers and we had loads of fun sampling different foods, watching shows, and riding rides, which includes about nine roller coasters.
What are some of the things to like about Knott’s Berry Farm? First on my list is nostalgia. The park has been around for more than a century and you certainly get a certain old- time feel when you walk the grounds of its 57 acres. Another thing I like is that it’s not a huge theme park. It is small enough to make it easily manageable for an afternoon of fun.
Going back to the history, Knott’s Berry Farm originated as a farm and nursery. Before long, it also helped to popularize the delicious cross- bred fruit known as the boysenberry. In fact, when I visited, me and my daughter made it a point to seek out and sample as many different boysenberry foods and drinks as possible and let me tell you, we made some delicious and memorable discoveries.
Between the food and rides, guests should also make it a point to attend some of the shows. Musica, dances, and more await your eyes and ears. You also don’t want to miss attractions like Ghost Town, which will entertain you with its cowboys, robberies, and other western themes. Kids will love Camp Snoopy and adults will love most everything, especially the big smiles it places on the faces of young ones.
Parking at Knott’s Berry Farm requires some effort and don’t be surprised if you have to walk a little longer than expected to reach the entrance. Once inside, you will appreciate that this theme park is generally less crowded and more easy- going than nearby Disney. The lines, if you go during the off- season like I did, are shorter than expected, too. It adds up to a fun way to spend the day in the Los Angeles suburb of Buena Park.

My grandson, age 16 and my granddaughter age 10 both have season passes and love to go here with friends. Grandson is old enough to drop off with his buddies in the morning and pickup when the place closes. There is a line of parents cars every night at closing picking up teenagers. My granddaughter just turned 10 and is now tall enough for every ride in the park and loves every minute of the excitement. We always buy Fast Pass for her and her girl friend and just admission for us.The Fast is worth every penny and the girls always get on all the good rides several times. We lose track of them periodically, but they are safe and always in touch by cell phone. We live about an hour away and Knott's is at the top of the kids list for return visits.

Me and my wife have been coming to Knotts for the past 10 years. Always enjoy it and always have fun. Best time of the year for us is during the boysenberry festival. But it’s still a fun time all year round.

This was such an awful visit, I have no desire to go back. Born raised in So Cal so I have seen Knotts evolve many times and each time bring new experiences, which is not always bad. It feels like they are just nickle and diming your entire visit. They have done away with the cubbies at the rides and you need you need to pay to rent a locker (but the first two hours are free). I even had to take my glasses on the rides. So instead of enjoying the rides, I worried about breaking my glasses. The fast pass is a nice addition but there was quite a bit of confusion amongst the employees on who went first and who went where

We took our 11 year old son and he loved it. There are lots of rides and trains for toddlers and young children. Yes, it was crowded and food is expensive, as in all other amusement parks in CA. We paid $20 for parking which is a little bit confusing trying to find the parking lot if it’s your first time visiting Knott’s. We managed to get around all the family rides. GhostRider was one of the last ones since the line was 1 1/2 hr. wait time early in the day but we went back later on the day when it was less crowded and we only waited for about 15 minutes or less. Also, I used the Knott’s App to navigate around the park and it was very helpful. The app is very easy to use, I’m not sure why it only has 2 1/2 stars on the app’s reviews. Overall, it’s a great place! It’s not Disneyland but still awesome!

It was terrible visit. The park brings middle schools filed trips to the park, and they let the kids run around without any supervision. The kids were cutting lines on every occasion they saw a friend. There are no park people watching and addressing this behavior. We got to the first ride - it said it was 15 min wait time. We waited for over one hour. The second ride said 60 min wait time. We waited two hours and 45 min (???) By 2pm, we completed only 2 rides. The Knott's Berry stuff allowed many rides to go with empty seats all the time that added to wait time. I saw and talked to many families, and everyone was very disappointed. I'll not be returning, and would not recommended to others to spend they money and get so little in return. We tried to complaint to guess services, but of course had to wait for one hour for supervisor, who never came. We talked to someone else, who could only say "sorry"...

Reasonable prices, reasonable crowds, great rides, good people. Go here, not Disney! Only negative, the online purchase didn't work well when using paypal and those with season passes were a bit mad they didn't realize they needed to scan in their paper passes. Other than that, highly recommend.

We visited on a Sunday and Monday in March and the park is definitely big enough to fill two days.
We found that the best way to see the park is to head to the rides at the back on the park early- Xcelerator, Hang Time and surrounding rides- as most people go to the rides near the entrance first, leaving the back of the park quiet in the morning.
In the afternoon and evenings, the park did get pretty busy and some of the rides were operated quite slowly, with lots of fast track pass holders being given priority, which did slow down the main queue line sadly. Some of the coasters were only being run at half capacity (only one train out of two in use) which was frustrating since the queues for these rides exceeded 60-90 minutes at times.
The rides in general though are excellent and there’s a really good mix for everyone. Thrill coasters like Ghost Rider (the wooden coaster) and the two I mentioned previously were very thrilling and fast paced.
But there were also great family coasters like Pony Express and the Sierra Sidewinder for families with kids who weren’t tall enough for the larger rides.
They had some great dark rides, some old, some new, and the classic log flume was also lots of fun.
The food was great, with lots of choice and beer and cider were also available to drink outdoors, which was very welcome on a hot day. Some of the food queues were long even outside of standard meal times.
Overall I would definitely recommend, and it’s only 10 mins drive/ bus ride from Disneyland so a great option to combine with Disney.

I went here the day after Disneyland and was already on a high. In truth, this park is more of an adrenalin thrill with its rides than anything and I absolutely loved it. I think I went on every single level 5 ride multiple times. Again, the wait was very minimal, the park was clean and the staff were overall fairly nice. Only downside was a few rides were closed including the large wooden roller coaster and the haunted house ride. The xcelerator was like nothing I've ever experienced. All thrill seekers must visit if you do Anaheim.

I haven't been here in years, but still a lot of fun. They have a quite a bit that is no longer the Wild West, but still enjoyed exploring the old town, talking with Sad Eye Joe, visiting the school house and blacksmith. It's an interesting recreation.
The rides were a lot of fun- good mix of tame and wilder. My kids aren't into roller coasters, but enjoyed the Pony Express and Coast Rider. I went on the Silver Bullet, but felt off for about an hour afterwards.
Food choices for vegetarians are limited, but pizza was plentiful.
Overall a really fun visit!

Had a great time. Lines were not too bad. Week days are better of course.
Cons: Watch out for people holding places in line and teenagers line jumping...both are strictly against park policy. Also they don't provide paper maps anymore, which was super annoying. Your only option is to use the phone app, which isn't the easiest to read & WiFi should be offered if this is going to be the status quo. Plus my parents don't have smart phones :-/ it was easier to take a picture of the park map with my phone than use the glitchy app.

Last weekend my wife and I travel to Ontario California for an early birthday celebration for our granddaughter. This was her first trip since January and everyone had been given the all clear for the visit to happen. Usually by this time a year we learned made two trips to the area for conventions and have upcoming ones for San Diego Comic Con and the bi-annual D23 Expo.
Since none of them are able to happen due to the current world situation and not knowing when we will be able to travel in area again; my wife and I decided to visit Buena Park for some shopping which included a visit to Knott's Berry Farm.
While the park remains closed; the shopping and dining options outside the park are available to guests and we made sure to visit the numerous shops, bakery, and enjoy the available amenities during our visit.
Currently free parking is available and we were greeted by Rufus shortly after leaving the parking lot as he was going about his business in the shadow of the Ghost Rider.
After taking a few pictures we learned that certain shops were not open until 11 and some dining options had an even later time which varies upon the day of the week in which you are visiting.
Making her way into the core shops we were able to purchase various food items such as boysenberry dressing, seasonings, barbecue sauce, and more during our first stop. Checks out was entirely user driven as we had to scan and bag our items and then use a touchless payment system. The cashier was available behind a protective Plexiglas barrier to answer questions and assist should issues arise.
Making away from shop to shop and purchased stuffed animals, a T-shirt, and other items while making sure to take some photos and enjoy the visit. The smell from Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner was strong and appealing even through our masks and people were already lined up to purchase some from the to go location or enter the restaurant when we arrived.
Various managers greeted us outside stores and one in particular was very gracious and thanking us for coming out and enjoying what the park was able to offer at this time. Rufus made another appearance as he followed a group from the parking lot and was strutting his way down towards the main gate for the part.
Our stop also included a visit to the bakery as well as a look around the house wares and collectibles and candy stores before we completed our purchases and headed to our family commitment.
While it is not the same as being able to enjoy the theme park; being able to take in many of the sights and smells of Knott's as well is the very friendly and helpful staff made this an enjoyable visit that lifted the spirits and made us look forward to better days ahead when we can once again enjoy the full offerings of the park.

Went here yesterday even though temperatures were rather on the cool side. Park wasn't too busy. Have a lot of fun walking around the park socializing with folks and park staff. Wife and I will take a few laps every time were there. This week was the peanuts celebration for the month of January. They had Snoopy lioness Ali Schroeder spread amongst the park for picture taking Ops. As per usual my wife and I bought our twinsie t-shirts for the peanuts celebration. They've installed self-serve soda machines all throughout the park. You can buy a daily cup or you can buy a year cup which is around $30. But that $30 covers unlimited refills for the entire year. All in all it was another great day in the park!

This is strictly about the website and customer service to purchase tickets. ’ve had an extremely frustrating experience trying to use the Knott’s Berry Farm website. It does not work properly and seems to have serious technical issues. Half the time, when attempting to purchase tickets, the site times out or displays an error message, forcing me to start over.
The chat system also doesn’t function, so there’s no way to get help when the website fails. I’ve called the customer service number multiple times, only to spend significant amounts of time on hold without ever reaching anyone.
To make matters worse, I’ve been trying to purchase 13 tickets and 13 Fast Lane passes, but the system keeps saying I’ve exceeded the maximum number allowed. There’s no visible way to edit or adjust the cart, which makes completing the purchase impossible.
Overall, the experience has been a real nightmare — confusing, glitchy, and unsupported. For such a major theme park, the online system should be far more reliable and user-friendly.

Awesome family day. Like most parks, this one is themed. For the locals, it is probably not a big deal. The zeal and appeal for this one, lay in the history and pioneering of America. This was great for educational purposes. It allowed for non-westerners to see what life was like during the great migration west. It is almost like living in those days and the aesthetic matched the times in every regard. All of the shops and rides have informed monologues built in. Great times. The only slight is the ride line's wait-times. Almost all of them are at least 30 minutes or so, even with paying the speed pass. If enjoying every ride is the goal, be sure to visit during slow season and enter exactly at doors open time.

I was very disappointed, and not impressed at all. Knots Berry Farm has gone very down hill:
A few rides were not in operation.
The endless displays/stalls of cheep "trinkets, gifts and souvenirs "…reminded me of a very second rate "Carni"
The barn that had the overwhelming scent of aged urine with an overtone of ammonia, had me wondering if the stalls were even mucked out at all…or simply covered with fresh straw?
The washroom (visited around 1:00 p.m.)… Had much moister in stalls…tissue scattered on floor..
This "Farm" is tired and very over priced..
This is my first review ever. It is unfortunate that it is a negative one.

Went for my Grandsons birthday, many rides were not open, some closed very early, a couple broke down. Lines were long, food for lunch for 4, cost over 100.00. Games, food and everything overpriced. The food was terrible and a bottle of water 4.00. My Grandson said he had a good time, but I could tell he was disappointed. The events, and shows were not playing at all. Not worth the money. Terrible experience. They should just close down.

At first our experience with Customer Service over the phone was bad. But eventually, we were assisted by someone there named Sabrina. She is a true professional. I hope her bosses see her value. Any future referrals or business that Knotts recieves from me and my family will be all due to Sabrina's customer care skills. This rating went from Terrible to Very Good thanks to her competence. My case for refund was neglected for 2 weeks. Sabrina resovled in less than half hour. I appreciate her action! When you call Customer Service, its a hit and miss with the kind of help you'll get. There are crappy reps on the other end, but there are also a few good ones. Knotts is fortunate I was helped by Sabrina at the time I was on my last leg with them!

My family & I were really excited to visit Knott's since it had been a long time. It was a horrible experience. First, the lines were forever long for anything you wanted to do. It took me 45 minutes just to order food. The longs were long just for the snack carts. An so long for any ride, even for the toddler rides. The place was so crowded because everything is spaced so close to each other. You are constantly having to squeeze through people & lines that extend out into the walking areas. Disneyland can be crowded but never feels suffocating like it did at Knott's. We only were able to get two kid rides in & bumper cars, and then we gave up. We just ended up playing games to win prizes & then went home. I did go on a Saturday, so that could also be the reason for the enormous crowds & ridiculous lines.

My wife and I had both visited Knott's Berry Farm when we were kids. It was nice to refresh childhood memories. We even hit the merry-go-round twice.

We really enjoyed our visit here. Lots of rides, and with the fast pass we did everything multiple times. They do tend to attract a lot of school groups, which can add to the crowds. But what theme park doesn’t? There’s something for everyone, from the little ones, to thrill seeking teens and grown-ups. For the extreme thrill seeker, the wave rider is an incredible ride. I particularly love the attention that they paid to kids with the themed characters and old west narrative.
All in all, it was a great day and if you’re looking for something for the family to do in Southern California, you should put this on your list.

Good rides, and what should have been a fun day with the family turned out to be a horribly frustrating day because of all of the LINE JUMPING! I have been to many amusement parks and have never experienced it as bad as it was here! Absolute Ridiculous! Come on Knotts Berry Farm, do something about it!! Don’t make your queues so easy to skip! You had ONE employee that enforced it at ONE ride, Kudos to Allison!! We loved her!

Just spent one day at Disneyland, one day at California adventure and one day here at Knott's Berry Farm. What I really liked about Knott's Berry farm was
1) lots of shade
2) Lots of easy to find bathrooms and drinking fountains
3) a more laid back vibe than the two Disney parks. There was a good selection of food that was tasty.
Things I didn't like were
1) The fast pass option was very expensive ($75/pp vs Disneylands $20/pp which also included unlimited photo access). And at least on the day we went, they fast pass was not really needed due to short lines. It really benefited us 2-3 times all day.
2) They had lots of ride break downs. Multiple rides were not open at all. Others including the Log Ride, Hang time, Montezuma's Revenge and Xcelerator were down for large parts of the day.
The whole vibe was relaxed and people seemed to be enjoying themselves more than the days at Disneyland where everything felt rushed and hectic.

Had a great time last october when I visited for the first time! It was a childhood dream to come here and I made it true! It was a short visit as we had just arrived from Argentina and were a bit jet lagged, but it was totally worth it and loved it! The park is clean, super family friendly, lines are not long, prices are reasonable, both for food and merchandise. I would only suggest the option to pay cash as well, but that´s all, everything else was perfect for me!!! We loved it and we also got to see Snoopy and friends!!!

What a fun place! It is larger than I expected with some CRAZY thrilling rides! I did not purchase the fast pass, but on a weekend or popular day would definitely be worth it. I used my hotel parking and walked to Knott’s which was a great choice because the parking was PACKED. There is definitely enough shopping, rides, activities, and food that everyone can find something to love at Knott’s. I will be going back!

Decided to do this spur of the moment on a rest day. Arrived about midday plenty of time to do everything we wanted to, reasonable queues (5-35 minutes and always quicker than advertised), even for coasters. Great relief after Disney queues.

We were so impressed with the size, greenness and overall ride and food choice at the park.
HOWEVER,
1. You will wait at least 2 hours to get on each ride. We did only 3 rides!
2. Food lines are just as long. Which eats up your ride time. But quality of food is better than Disney.
3. Staff is apathetic and not knowledgeable - we asked three different staff members (one a manager) where the corndog stand was and no one knew. One wasn't even sure it existed. How?
4. Good luck finding places to sit. Hardy any seating unless by the food.
5. Worst of all, we saw so many people saving spots for groups of friends. They would arrive and jump in the line. Sometimes they would sneak in through the EXIT of the ride and be let on. Staff does not care or regulate.
I think if they upped their game a bit more this would be a much more enjoyable park.

Recently visited Knott’s for a birthday. Waiting times for lines for coasters were good. Staff was friendly. Lots of fun.

I went for the last night of Scary Farm and was not disappointed. The characters startled me several times, and the mazes were elaborate and creepy. There are fog machines here and there. Enjoyed swings, log ride, Mexican food, boysenberry dippin' dots.

The queues times are so long. And the fact that each ride in the main has one attendant means the wait times could be shortened so much. Decent park and rides and price is appropriate when comparing Disney for example. But makes day hard work for all families with their drive to reduce employee costs.

I actually like this place better than Disneyland. The line wasn't too bad and we had so much fun. There are many rides for kids.

**1 STAR - KNOTT'S SCARY FARM DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE OR YOUR MONEY**
**DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE - CHECK YOUR PASS DATES BEFORE YOU GO**
Knott's Scary Farm ruined what was supposed to be our first night away from our baby. Their broken website automatically assigns passes to 2026 without giving you any option to select the year (who would buy 2026 passes in 2025?!), but they'll gaslight you and claim "it said it on there" when it absolutely did not - I confirmed this with multiple sources.
**WHAT HAPPENED:**
- Purchased passes online with Scary Farm add-on
- Website gave NO year selection option
- Arrived opening night excited to hit all the mazes early
- Told our passes were for 2026 (!!)
- Spent over an HOUR trying to fix THEIR mistake
- Over 90+ other people had the exact same problem
- Staff had no clue how to resolve it
**THE "SUPERVISOR" DAISY WAS AWFUL:**
When I asked to speak to a supervisor, Daisy smirked and rudely said "I AM the supervisor." She was argumentative, blamed US repeatedly for their error, and offered zero help. I had to suggest the solution myself because Daisy couldn't figure out how to fix their own system error.
**OUR NIGHT WAS DESTROYED:**
By the time we got in it was almost 8 PM. Mazes were packed, everything had long waits, and we just wanted to go home. Our special evening was completely ruined.
**THEY DON'T CARE:**
- No apology
- No compensation for the ruined experience
- Kept blaming customers for their website error
- Had to wait for refund processing while buying new passes
- Zero accountability
**THE REAL PROBLEM:** Knott's Scary Farm does not care about your experience, the money you spent, or how they inconvenience you. They'll gaslight you, blame you for their mistakes, and offer nothing to make it right.
**WARNING:** This is clearly a systematic problem affecting dozens of customers nightly. Check your pass dates carefully because odds are Scary Farm screwed you over too and they will absolutely blame you for it.
Save your money and go somewhere that actually values their customers. Knott's Scary Farm clearly doesn't.

Knotts Berry Farm is a small theme park. It's amazing the amount of steel roller coasters they can cram onto a postage stamp size park. While it has turned into a more thrill-ride experience, Knotts (celebrating its 100th year) still has aspects of its old charm that the owners have been wise to retain.
Ghost Town is still fun to walk through. They have a cast members acting out roles of the Old West, and, while they got rid of the playground (the ghost swing), they still have the schoolhouse with a school marm at the head desk.
The Log Ride, Stage Coach, Train and Calico Mine Ride are still there as well. Though the surroundings are more fitting for the teenage-age kiddos, this park still maintains its historic charm that I remember from my childhood. And, with Mrs. Knotts Chicken Restaurant still around, who can go wrong with dinner.
Knotts has advanced its menu options to include gluten free choices. It still has a way to go in regards to menu options and quality, but it's definitely headed in the right direction.
Be sure to go in the Christmas season. The decorations and snow are really charming and effective during that time of year!

Hot and sticky day but had a wonderful time. Park was busy but wait times were reasonable. Shade and seating was abundant. Actually had a meal there and the food was very good and reasonably priced. Shout out to Denise in the midway area. She was so friendly. People like her always touch your heart and will forever be remembered for their kind gestures.

Everything can improve! at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park; starting with the entrance, parking, signage, directions, and helpfulness of the parking staff, to finding the exit, again, signage, direction, and security staff (lack of) helping you exit safely and be on your way back home, and just about everything in between! Especially the staff at FunPIX Photos at the main entrance.
Brought our daughter, family and friends here to celebrate her birthday! Thankfully, she had a good time being around her family. But as a customer who brought this business over 10 patrons today, it showed me it's 1-2 Stars value, customer service, and experience. I cannot recommend this establishment to friends and family, and strongly feel a desire to avoid this place in the near future. If this is who absorbed the beloved Six Flags thrills and amusement, I fear for the future of that brand.

Avoid this park unless you love long queues, inaccurate wait times and highly overpriced food. Having just been to Disneyland we thought we knew what to expect. We paid a lot to visit for one day and left early as we were so frustrated with the app and the park. Even endless long lines queueing for food. Only rode 4 rides in 6 hours. Stick to Disney - they know what they are doing.

Went with three families with 12 kids from 5-16 and everyone had good fun. There's something for everyone. We went on a summer weekday which wasn't too crowded. I like that people can bring in their own food and drink, and they allow fill-ups for your own water bottles. The customer service is friendly and laid back.

Stopped in last night at The Bottle House with 2 teenage girls. The intention was to just browse the Knott's stores and kill some time while we waited for dinner. What happened instead is one of the most unique and fun Knott's experiences we have ever had. Back in the corner of the store, they have a variety of ceramic figurines ($10-$25) that you can paint on site. They supply aprons, all the paint you want, brushes, and finish it off with an acrylic spray on your piece. The girls spent about an hour painting and then we came back 30 minutes later and our spray was dry and pieces were ready to take home. What a wonderful, unique souvenir. The owners of the shop were just lovely and very friendly. This is such a hidden gem at Knott's!

Great holiday decor & shows 2022. If you go to Knotts during the holidays - check out the Snoopy Ice Show. We go every year, and we were happy with this years show too.

After spending a wonderful day at Disneyland/California Adventure, Knott’s Berry Farm was truly a disappointment. While the themes around the park and aesthetics are fun, there’s a lot to be desired.
A few things to note…
1. The food lines were insanely long all over the park. They seemed to take about 45 minutes and it was hard to find a quick snack like a pretzel. Some of the food kiosks weren’t open so that didn’t help. I wish they used mobile ordering like Disney to alleviate the long lines.
2. The ride lines were very long. Roller coasters were 150 minutes and other rides took much longer than advertised on the app. For example, the app said the Supreme Scream ride had a wait time of 25 minutes and I waited a solid hour for a ride that lasted about a minute.
3. Some rides weren’t even operating. We were waiting in line for the Knott’s Bear-y Tales and the ride broke. They weren’t sure how long it would take to fix it but refused to give us a pass to come back later. 45 minutes later they said it would be “awhile” and offered to send us to another ride with no wait. I’m not sure why they didn’t offer it much sooner into the extra wait. When we left a few hours later, the ride was still down.
4. The cleanliness just isn’t up to par. The bathrooms were dirty and the floors had trash on them. There was also trash on the ground around the park.
Tip: If you’re heading there in the summer, you essentially need to spend the extra money on the fast pass if you want to go on most of the rides while you’re there.

I loved it there, but it was super crowded the day we went. It was hard to do anything and hot. We went back the next day and was better but still crowded. Enjoyed it other than the crowd.

The whole entry process was slow. Most of the coasters weren't open to ride which made the lines on few that were open very long, some more than 1 1/2 hour wait. The employees don't seem to know how to smoothly get people on and off the rides. One ride said it was a 30 minute wait, but after watching the employees for 45 minutes shuffling people from one area to another and 2 different fast track lines, we left the line. The air conditioner in the line for The Jaguar was broken. The lines for food/snack were anywhere from 1/2 to an hour wait. The whole day seemed like we're in lines going nowhere. We won't be going back sad to say.

Rough day. Spring Break on Wednesday. We expected crowds for rides but the food wait surprised us. An hour and a half for lunch, waiting in line in the sun is rough. One ride said 40 minute wait, after another hour and a half it broke down. Our grandkids were lethargic with all the waiting. It just didn’t seem worth the effort today after looking forward to it for weeks. Bummer.

I used to love Knott’s Berry farm. It was a good change from Disney with great coasters. I hadn’t been for years. So we went but made the mistake of going on MLK day. I assume school was out. It was crowded. Loading rides is so inefficient. They don’t try to fill empty seats. We’d often see two seats together on a roller coaster empty. And lots of people riding single.
You can only see wait times while you are in the park. So I have no idea how often it is this busy. From other recent reviews here, fairly often. All coasters were at least 120 minutes. Ghost rider was usually 180. 5 rides in 7 hours. Only that many because we were let into the park before it was supposed to open. So we were on Ghost rider before 10am. We don’t have little kids but when walking though the kid area we noticed a balloon ride with a 90 minute wait time.
Also food lines were so long. We bought the daily premium dining pass. But food lines were often 30 minutes or more.
Bathrooms were also dirty and also had lines.
We have no plans or desire to go back again.

If you are going for the day and not from the area, consider upgrading to fast lane passes. You get to ride most rides while others are waiting in long lines. The rides are more tailored for above 48 inches height. There is are two rides that you need to be 52 inches to ride. There are some rides for small children but not many. Food can be expensive. The drink cups with free or 1 dollar refills are awesome.

Customer service never picks up the god dammed phone. Waited on the phone call for over 30 mins, even left a call back with the system and nothing. This is absurd, what if someone like me needs to ask questions for their disabled family member?

What a great scary time we had - lines were long but manageable. Mazes thrilling and quite long so lots of time to get some good scares. Street scares were great, add to this lots of smoke and the darkness makes for a really entertaining evening. Best scare park we have done as a family with teens.

We went to Disney, however looking for other options, we find this park, we were surprised.... amazing facilities and games, nothing to envy to other parks. Excellent ratio quality-price. Less crowded = more fun.

It is a place with strong games but also has an area for children, plus you can take photos with Snoopy

We decided to visit knotts last minute in Labor Day with our 3 yr old daughter. We had an awesome time & found it incredibly clean plus it offers far healthier / higher quality food options than Disney land, which imo has become so unhealthy & low quality. With small kids it’s very manageable & there are plenty of rides for them to enjoy! Everyone working there was really nice & helpful! We were very impressed & also appreciated the value for cost of tix. If you go on a busy day the fast lane pass makes a huge difference if you want to ride any larger rides & roller coasters. Thx knotts for keeping your park up so well & bring so authentic.

we had gotten a yearly pass last year ..stayed at the hotel a couple of times ..great time had for the adults and the kids luv all the exciting coasters they have to offer ..highly recommend Knott's Berry Farm

I went with my family it was so awesome! It made me connect with them more! But the lines were terrible, but I would still wait for those good RIDES the pony express YEEHAW a good experience hangtime more like WAITIME, but it was still a BLAST just like those fast rides! I had a good FAN-TA-TA-S-TIC time thereio BUT,one of them worker was just a meanie pants made me shart a little but STILL FUN (would not recommend talking to the employee of the name HENRY)

This was our first time there and it was an awesome experience. The lines weren’t as long as we anticipated which was very nice. The food was exceptional and the employees were all friendly.

I have a pass that gets free parking,a percentages off merchandise and food, PLUS! THE FUN OF BEING AT KNOTT'S BERRY FARM!
I am loving every minute!

This is a pretty awesome place to go if you love roller coasters. I would say if you don't love roller coasters, don't go. I would also say don't go if you can't afford a fast pass. The lines here are very very very long. I don't mind waiting for some things, but waiting in line for 1 hour for one 3 minute ride is not my idea of fun. The rides themselves are totally thrilling, and there are plenty of places to eat and shop inside. I highly recommend it to roller coaster lovers.

Visited on July 13th, 2021. The park was understaffed. They were not using all the cars on the coasters, so the waits were twice as long as normal. We waited over 2 hours for the popular rides. The staff didn't seem to want to do their jobs. We sat and watched while four staff members argued among themselves for several minutes about who would check the restraints so the ride could begin. Meanwhile we just sat. In twelve hours we went on 6 rides, and four of them were the less popular rides. I have never had such a terrible experience at a theme park. We thought we would at least get our picture taken in period clothes. But that was closed.

We bring friends from other states and foriegn exchange student. Great theme park for all ages. Have been going for over 30 years with my family. A must do while in Ca

It is a place with strong games but also has an area for children, plus you can take photos with Snoopy, and even try jams

I have been to Disney World theme parks,Disneyland,Universal Parks and this park is one of my favorites! This park is perfect for the family or rides that are not too extreme. We enjoy many rides from opening to closing of Park ( there’s lots to do) The Park is very clean and the park staff was friendly and helpful. I’m bought the all you can eat bracelet for party of 5. I would encourage you not too, it was too expensive and kids wanted more play time. Next time I would just buy the 1 meal plan and a snack instead. Souvenirs are abundant, if you can stay in the Knotts Hotel ( Do it!) After a long day , you can walk over to your hotel. I will definitely be back!

This was my husbands and my first time to Knott's Berry Farm and it will also be our last. The park may have been great in it's heyday but it's nothing to write home about anymore. Various aspects of the park look rundown and patched up to appear better looking. The ride operators don't know how to evenly run their ride queue lines. My husband and I stood in the log ride queue line for 15 minutes and then we were at the front of the line. We were asked the number in our party, which was 2 and told just a minute. Then the lavender tinted hair ride operator emptied the entire line next to us and made us wait. Now, we are not expecting to be loaded first on every ride but the right thing needs to be done. We left the line because that made our wait turn into an hour. The food is way over priced. I know it's this way in all theme parks and we expect that but paying $7.50 for a soft serve ice cone is ridiculous, I can see paying that price for hard ice cream.
Back to the ridiculously run queue lines. When hoards of people are in the line an extra ride vehicle should be added to help the lines move faster. People, including me were leaving lines because of an hour plus wait and the queue lines weren't moving. The best thing about our stay was the Knott's Berry Farm Hotel. It's a very nice hotel and our room was wonderful. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean and we loved the big television.
We shared the Mrs. Knott's Chicken dinner and it was just okay...we've had better.
I was so excited to spend the day at Knott's Berry Farm and it was a huge disappointment. We will not e coming back

Do not come here!! I have not been to knotts since I was a kid so my friends and I decided to go for me and my other friend’s birthday. I regret it 100%.
First: the staff is rude. Half of my group was waiting in line for Ghost rider because we got there early at like 9:30 am. My friends arrived 30 minutes later and decided to meet us in line and a staff attendant started yelling that if she saw anyone place holding spots in line they will be asked to leave. My friends ended up not riding with us and had to wait an hour for us to be done. No ride, not even Disneyland does this. It was a little disgruntling but I got over. No big deal.
Second: My friends and I decided to go on Jaguar, a small childrens roller coaster. While waiting in line a group of young teens can running and screaming obnoxiously in the building. Everyone was annoyed at them, and I guess they didn’t like the way my friend was looking at them so they started to try and pick a fight with us. The lines were super crowded and cramped, so had an actual fight broken out it would have been dangerous for everyone around us. These kids were also stupid because they were picking a fight with people who have all trained Brazilian jiu jitsu for 8 plus years. The fight deescalated and the children left. However they came back again and tried to get to us through the fire exit. They finally left once a mom stepped in and told them there were children waiting in line and this was not okay.
Literally no staff anywhere in these lines to call security. I had to shove my way to the front to notify the staff of what was going on and they did nothing. When we got off the ride we could see the kids were waiting for us to fight so security was finally called to escort us out of the ride. Worst theme park experience ever because literally the whole time we were on alert looking around for these trashy kids in case they did an ambush.
I looked around online and apparently the theme park has a nickname of “knotts ghetto farm” and kids literally come here to fight. There are tons of fight videos online of kids fighting each other. Literally knotts is embarrassing for allowing this conduct take place. I want my money back lol because it was a horrible experience.

Before yesterday, it had been nearly a decade since I'd visited this park. What a difference ten years makes!! This was by far one of the most beautifully landscaped parks I've been to in a while. The theming was outstanding, and the park was FILLED with live actors interacting with guests, participating in games and engaging hands-on activities. The rides were fantastic!! There is truly something for everyone, novice to thrill seeker. We saw two live shows, and they were wonderful! One of our biggest surprises was the food. It was hands down the best theme park dining experience I've ever had at the GHOST TOWN GRILL. Consider this: we'd planned on only spending a few hours at the park and ended up opening and closing it!! After 12 hours of fun, we could have easily stayed longer and ridden some things again. For the price, this is the best value in Anaheim.

Lots of good rides for 3 kids all different ages. We stayed all the way until almost 10 pm because there were so many rides for the kids to do

Thursday April 14th
Arrived at 10:00am, departed at 6:30pm
All attractions/rides with a 35-to-120-minute wait.
Food wait times 15 to 45 minutes.
Lack of bottled water being sold at various food/beverage outlets.
App is very limited/weak. Not able to reserve ride times, restaurant seating, prepay/order food and estimated wait times not updated regularly.
Lack of staff with many rides not running at full capacity.
Untrained and/or slow staff taking way too long to load/unload rides.
Saw not just 1 or 2 people but groups of kids and adults cutting in line everywhere.
Not enough bathrooms and no mirrors in bathrooms.
Unfriendly retail staff in many stores with little and/or no knowledge about what they're selling. Park run gift/retail stores with very limited Knott's branded stuff but lots of ugly Boysenberry Festival stuff.
No security outside the park Infront of entrance. Was offered drugs outside the Peanuts store and saw two blatant drug deals within 10 minutes while waiting for an Uber.

We decided to take a family trip and came here. We were lucky as it was not crowded and we didn’t have to wait in long lines. We were here during the Halloween festival, but didn’t get to enjoy scary farm. We had a great time though.

This was our first time getting to take our kids - 14 and 16 year olds. We have a friendly fellow coven come with us (friends) and had a wonderful time! The mazes are absolutely amazing to experience. (I didn’t want to post any pictures that would ruin it for potential visitors!) The best way to get to all the mazes are to get the early 5:30p Boofet and getting to access the park early. If you go before October 15th, there are hardly any lines. You also get a drink cup good for free drinks in the park for the remainder of the night. They’re known for their fried chicken and anything boysenberry. Happy Halloween!

I do not like high tech rides. Not enough for me to do to warrant the price. Nor, is there enough for young children. Geared to teenagers.

While I cannot say if this is the park you'd want to spend multiple days at I can definitely recommend coming here at least once for some of these wonderful rides. Not only has their wooden coaster, Ghostrider, been retracked and gotten new trains, but they've opened up their newest coaster, HangTime, and are in the process of redoing a few older attractions as well. While this isn't on the same level as Disneyland for theme, this definitely has an old school charm that Disney lacks.
For those that haven't been to Knott's Berry Farm before, this is a Cedar Fair park, one of the premier amusement park chains in the USA. This park is made for families to enjoy for a day or two of shows and attractions, from the Camp Snoopy area for the very small members of the family, to the various high thrill coasters they are dotted throughout the park. The offering here is varied and very fun. Though if you can help it, you should definitely NOT eat in the park. Their prices are, like most theme parks, ridiculously overpriced.
Would definitely recommend coming at least twice, once for the rides, and once for the shows. Their variety is most definitely a treat of Old West goodness.

What a blast! We went there not having a clue about what to expect. It had been years since my last visit, and it was a completely different amusement park back then.
We were two middle aged couples, just looking for something different to do in Southern California. We had no idea that Knott's was full of roller coasters, and so we spent the better part of a day testing our body's limitations on the loops, twists and speeds. Yeah, we got a little dizzy, with some occasional nausea, but all in all it was fun.
The food in the park was pretty good, and the service was pleasant.
If you've got teenagers needing a break from Disneyland, I highly recommend a visit to Knott's Berry Farm.

I love dining @ Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner & playing in the Park. I attended Knott’s Scary Farm again this year. The mazes keep getting better EVERY year. Fifty two years of Scary Farm👻! More security is needed in the parking lots on those nights!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Silver bullet is amazing.I don't mind roughness in ghostrider. And I also like hangtime too.I was kinda feeling bad because I couldn't ride xcelerator.I think knott's Berry Farm is perfect for some amusement and thrill.(Also kid friendly)

We went for Knott’s Scary Farm and it was a great time! We had never been before but we had a blast and I’d do it again. Easy to find allergy friendly foods too.

Ghost rider is a thrilling ride that is easy on the stomach drops. But when you ride the Silver Bullet you will feel like you conquered the butterfly jitters. Since you're feeling icey, the Xcelerator tests all boundaries of gravity. However, the Pony Express will pleasantly surprise your adrenaline meter.
Knott's is crowded. Lines are long from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Every line ranges from 45 minutes to 2 hours. Food lines 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. We were a group of 10 and traveled on a Monday.
Knott's is not an overwhelming theme park. There is more happening than just rides. You can ride a horse buggy, relax on a train, watch a show, dance to a live band or just chillax.
Your group can split up and all meet within 20 minutes from one end of the park to the other. Every age group can have their own adventure and fun-filled day. Seriously from age 3 to 100. If someone has limited standing abilities, take a portable chair. On a crowded day, seating is limited. Otherwise shade and seating is accessible.
If you want to make your day crackin' here are 8.5 Sure-Fire Tips to Get Bang for Your Time:
1) Everybody can't be a chief. Decide that all can be done. It's easier with a group of 6+. Just don't be a hog even if it's only
2) If anyone in the group has a temporary or permanent disability (e.g. leg brace, wheelchair etc.) disabled fast pass is complimentary. What is way cool is that four other riders can fast pass. There are some caveats, but minor.
3).Best food to NOT waste your money: Chili/Soups at the soup station ($7.00) or Fiesta Village Cantina chipotle salad ($13.00) Everything else is garbage.
4) Best order of rides to NOT waste your time- Silver Bullet, Sidewinder, Supreme Scream, Xcelerator, Pony Express, Ghostrider then others. Long lines for all. However, the lasting thrill effect ratio to wait time worthiness to next thrill anticipation is this order.
5) Bring in your own water refill canteen! Or pay five bucks for freakin' water that should be free.
6) Chipotle salad can accommodate a keto, vegan, vegetarian, weight-watchers or hangriness prevention. The chipotle dressing, surprisingly impressive.
7) Park in the lot on Beach and La Palma. Trust this!
8) Keep nuts and protein bars in your bag because you don't have time to be hungry and irritable in the lines. You only have time to play.
8.5) Positive attitude allowed only. No one likes to wait in hot weather. No one wants to hear it. So be creative or silent.
I'd like to know if these tips helped you.

Great value...lots of great rides for my 12 year old
Grandson. He enjoyed the rides more than
Disneyland. A very clean park with domething for all ages.

Not our first time there, though I noticed that each time I've been there, the overall cost has increased at a faster rate than my income (though not as badly as the nearby house of the mouse). Still. no one should go to a big amusement park expecting not to pay top dollar for the experience.

We have season passes and go at least once a month, we enjoyed our last day at Knott's. Just remember to make reservations for entry and try to enjoy the rest of your day. We have been to another theme park in the area and paid a lot of money and spent the whole day in lines for 3 to 4 rides. At Knott's we get on that many and more in a half day there. Knott's is less crowded and is more enjoyable than the other theme parks.

i loved going there we had the time of our lives would go again. one of our favorite rides was the ghost ride.

I am 82 and enjoy a few of the rides, but come mostly for the exercise.
I have a dining plan and have some of the food very good.

My 17 year old son was threatened and mugged in a less populated area (Ghost rider and guest services) at knotts scary farm, 11:30 pm
He was still stunned and in shock when he made it to information, where a stranger told him to find security. He told the front desk lady , "I need security, I was robbed" and she pointed at the guard with other kids and said, "you'll have to wait". Another kid started helping my son calm down and call us (parents). Soon after another guard came in and they both left, the group of students were still there...waiting for a lost wallet case. There were 2 receptionists there and neither of them asked my son "hey, are you all right?" Why didn't they call in for more guards? Security I spoke with says "it doesn't sound like your son was really asking for help."

We had been attending Scary Farm for years but moved away and had to come back for the adventure again, and being my granddaughters. We were not disappointed, I dont think you can just call them mazes anymore. Each one is such an experience. They are so creative and did there job based on our screams. They had one that gave the illusion of walking thru water. It was unbelievable! Downside, the lines are so long and make it impossible to get thru all 9 mazes. They do offer a fast pass, but it's not cheap and we had 4 in our group. What we did was attend the Boo-Fet for $35 ea which also gave us early entry and enabled us get thru 4 of the 9 before the park opened to the public. When you get in, get a map and ask the employees where they are, if your not familiar with the park. 4 of 9 were all next to each other and so easy to knock out with no lines.. At the end of the night we were in line for the last maze (and so tired) when one of the Monsters snuck up on my granddaughter and she turned and smiled at him and he said your the first person that smiled at me tonight, then took us all out of the line and brought us to the fast pass line and let us in. No waiting, a big thanks to our Monster!!👻💀

This place was really nice and very well decorated for Christmas. My disappointment came in not being able to ride most of the rollercoasters. I was really angered by the "added layer" of the lap bar to Ghostrider. I have never been prevented from getting on any wooden roller coaster even at my previous size which was 6 inches bigger than now. However, the design, made it impossible for the lap bar to come down to even 1 click. Silver Bullet's restraints were impossible to fit into, and many others could not even get far enough down so I could ride. I could only ride Montezuma's Revenge and the Jaguar. They had older, more large size friendly restraints.
Food was good, although quite expensive. If Knott's Berry Farm is indicative of the type of rollercoasters I can encounter at other Cedar Fair Theme Parks, I may spend more time going to Disney Parks and forget the other places.

Our first time at knotts was a lot of fun. We really enjoyed the Ghost town alive and all the cast member were amazing at interacting. We wished we saw some peanuts characters but it was very hot and I do not think they stayed out all that long. Really enjoyable first time would love to go back and do more

Easy park to get around. Great variety of food locations. Very clean park. Great rides for little kids and bigger kids. Lots of roller coasters. Great deal on all day pop refill bottle. Friendly and helpful staff. Great shows.

This place is awesome. Great rides for both kids and adults. Not too crowded, and not too pricey to get in. First came here as a kid, and now as a 35 year old man with a 9 year old daughter, we come here every year for the past 4 years and it holds a special place in my heart.

My Husband and I took our nephew today to surprise him with some rides, unfortunately we go in pay full price $99.99 and fast pass $94.00 extra to find out that (4) or the large rides "Silver Bullet, Log Ride, Xcelerate and Boomerang were all shut down along with Hangtime shut down after riding it one time. Not to mention that food locations & stores were closed down. (After only being there 2 hours, finished what rides we could ride and being completely let down) we asked to speak with a manager/someone about how disappointed and upset we were it just wasn't right for them to charger us ($550 total). The manager said he agreed that it wasn't right, yet it was on us. They DID NOTHING to help us or to make us feel better or even want to come back. THIS PLACE IS NOT THE SAME. We will not be back.

Was okay pretty ghetto, actually, as far as the people that were there. Was
a toss up if I would go back again. But was okay because the kid seemed to like it.

I really want to love Knotts. The wild west area is fun, there are lots of rides, camp snoopy is cute, the food is tasty.... but after the nostalgia wears off, the reality is bumpy rides with zero line control. Having hordes of kids jump the ropes all day really kills the fun. We left after a few hours and I’m still not really sure if we enjoyed it or not.

Knotts is still a warm and welcoming place to have a great time with the family. Twice on our visit, staff members were very kind and went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. Great selection of rides of all intensities. Themed areas are fun and immersive, especially the ghost town, with authentic old west structures. The Fiesta Village had pozole on the menu for the winter season. Really couldn't have asked for more. Thanks to the team at Knotts.

I had a great experience at Knotts during a quiet visit. Food is ridiculously priced!
Rides are great and I still enjoy this park compared to larger more commercial offerings!

Terrible, terrible employees! If you want to deal with rude, entitled Gen Z employees, Knott's is the place for you. Not once were my family and I never once greeted by any food service staff after waiting in line. (They just said "what" when it was time to order. ) In fact, just about every staff member we talked to was generally unfriendly and we are a very humble and easy going family. The rides were off and on inoperable, and posted wait times tripled and were not updated. Knott's was a great place to visit in the 90's and early 2000's but has really gone downhill. There must be zero customer service training. Not even worth the discounted price of admission. I went on 3 rides and left, and will never, ever take my family back. They were shocked at the lack of basic customer service. Universal Studios is head and shoulders above Knott's. Six Flags is now the dollar store of amusement parks and ruined a family legacy.

Big coasters are down for maintenance. I get that one big one might be down, but 4??? Other rides are running at half capacity. Food vendors not open. Lines are crazy long. Been a long time year pass holder and this is really lame. Leaving and going to the beach!

We had season passes and went quite a few times for living out of state. My kids did not get tired out of it. Such a fun mix of history, nostalgia and thrill.

This was our first visit to Knotts, it’s somewhere i’ve always wanted to visit
The park is colourful and clean, ride times a park one ride we’re good, we visited on Monday
Unfortunately Ghost Rider was shut all day, which was a major disappointment
Some of the staff were rude and not customer focused hence why not 5 star review

We recently visited Knott’s Berry Farm and were extremely disappointed by both the park and the food. We had lunch at the restaurant that's known for its "famous" fried chicken, but it was anything but impressive—dry, not crispy, and completely unseasoned. The cabbage and ham side had no ham at all, just plain boiled cabbage with no flavor. The corn was bland, and the rhubarb was basically sweet water with overcooked rhubarb—no seasoning, no taste.
We only stayed in the park for about 2 hours. We managed to get on just one ride: Knott’s Bear-y Tales: Return to the Fair. This is supposed to be one of their newest rides, but it kept malfunctioning, and the 3D glasses were greasy and dirty. It felt like zero effort was put into maintaining it.
The park itself was dirty and felt very uninspired. Considering how much we spent, it was an incredibly underwhelming and disappointing day. Definitely not worth the money, and we won’t be returning anytime soon.

Overall impression:
This park is every bit as charming and entertaining as it was in the 90s when I visited as a kid. While much has changed, many things have remained the same. The rides, attractions, and eateries still provide excellent value for the price of admission.
Vibe & Atmosphere:
At times disorganized and at times immersive, Knott’s Berry Farm park shifts tone from Native American representation/Wild West homage to “Beach Boys” theme. This is very much a “more bang for your buck” theme park, complete with rides, games, and activities, but light on immersive settings. There is a family-friendly atmosphere, but this visit was in late May, so there was a heavy “teen summer” vibe as well.
Service & Staff:
The staff was incredibly friendly and interactive. Both the characters and the attendants, I enjoyed my conversations with everyone I met. The “family-owned” and operated vibe of the staff that I remember as a kid seems to be alive and well.
Food & Amenities:
Most of the fare available is carnival food: churros, cotton candy, etc. However, there are a few spots for burgers and BBQ. I enjoyed a BBQ plate in the old west ghost town area of the park, which was excellent.
What I did while there:
I revisited the rides I remember liking the most as a kid, and stood in line for the “Accelerator,” which was not there when I was younger. I visited where the “Mystery Lodge” USED to be, and perused the gift shop there. I went on Stagecoach. I rode the log ride and enjoyed the Calico mine train. I also rode the “Denver” train, where the train-robbers come on and “hold up” the car.
My favorite Moment:
My absolute favorite moment was getting to sit right behind the driver on the stagecoach ride! I could see the horses up close, feel every bump in the path, and generally felt like a king! It was a really awesome and fortuitous spot, as it was completely random, as well as being the last ride offered that day.
Pros & Cons:
The cons are, as I remember them to be decades ago, the skipping of the lines! Kids skip the lines, and the wait times are excruciating. The rides also break down often, at least they did while I was there, and this adds to the total wait times. It can also be VERY sunny and hot during the summer months, with few places to sit while waiting in line. The pros are, however, that relative to nearby parks, Berry Farm is significantly less expensive. There is also an option to pay for “fast lane” style service.
Tips for Future Travelers:
My recommendations for anyone over the age of 15: bring a portable chair like a “cyclone seat” that folds up and stores easily when you finally arrive on the ride. And for everyone, I recommend lots of sunscreen!

Purchase food and drink bundle with Day admission but unfortunately many of the eating spots were closed because it was a weekday. Also some of the eating spots that were part of the food bundle closed 1.5hr before park was due to close. Most popular ride Ghost Rider was also closed. It was a disappointment as it was reviewed so highly. I would recommend buying a premium food bundle and daily food bundle if going for a family of 3. There was decent portions we were able to share just 2 day food bundles with my hubby and 11 yr old dtr. The food was 7/10. The Mexican restaurant and the grill with the Turkey leg were pretty tasty.
Weekdays closed at 6 and we weren’t able to do 1/4 the rides due to lines and fitting in the eating to make it worth the cost.
Weekends seems to be when more eating and rides are open but likely longer lines as well. The longest line we were in was 45min.
Some of the rides are pretty crazy. There is an area for kiddies with tamer rides.
The Knots berry app is handy but disappointed that it doesn’t indicate which eating spots are closed or not available on weekdays.
Make sure to grab a Boysenberry tart on the way eye at the bakery. Best part of the farm.
I wouldn’t consider it comparable to Disneyland though. Not even close.

Knotted berry farm was a good amusement park but it was very busy and the wait time for most rides was an hour. The rides were good but the wait time made it not worth it. I would spend time elsewhere in California before resorting to knotted berry farm.

This place has a style and vibe that just ties into all the rides beautifully. Hang time, Ghost Rider, Xcelerator, Silver Bullet are all the perfect variety for the big thrill rides. The fast pass here is by far the biggest advantage I’ve ever seen in fast passes. You make a 120min ride into 5mins.

Sigh… I’ve been coming to Knotts as a kid and a teen. It was a great place until now. From the nightmare on where to park to rides breaking down, long lines for food and a premium meal day pass. We bought the premium meal day pass hoping to save a little money. Not at all. We ended paying for soft drinks when we shouldn’t have. What a nightmare. No one told us how to retrieve the wristbands needed for drinks. The QR readers were not reading the code you’re given after you spend $42 per person. More than 4 rides were broken down. We waited 45 minutes for one ride and as we’re about to embark the ride, we learned that the ride broke down. Then, we returned to wait another 45 minutes. It’s ridiculous. We’ve been at Knotts for hours and STILL yet to ride a roller coaster. What used to be a gem in Orange County is a now a money pit for visitors. Very disappointed. They really need to work more on efficiency.
I would really like a rain check to return or a refund.

Visited on a weekday. I expected lines to be long on rides like every other amusement park (Disneyland, Six Flags, etc.), which they were....over an hour for most rides after about noon. The biggest unexpected frustration, however, were the food vendors. WAY to few workers, creating very long lines and waits. Tried to find the shortest line (didn't care what kind of food at that point), and found a pizza outlet. There was literally only one half of a pizza ready to serve, so ordered a slice and a soda just to get out of there. It was cold. The poor young lady (just one) working the counter looked rather distraught at the long line and no pizzas behind her to serve, and I truly felt sorry for her. Lots of hungry, ticked-off people...not fun, and not going to Knott's again.

Knott’s Merry Berry Farm is the BEST🎄😘💋💋💋. It just gets better & BETTER for the holidays. More Christmas Craft Markets then before. Who doesn’t love Snoopy too?😘💋💋💋❤️I have a BLAST here

I have been a season pass holder for many years. My sister and I would go every month. I always had the Premier Pass which included parking. This year, season passes have changed and prices were much higher, so I purchased the basic pass. Parking prices had risen to $25 in Dec 2023, when We went in Jan 2024 it was now $30 per car. Once inside the park, tried to go into some of the stores, the park opened at 11am and the stores didn't open for another half hour to an hour after that. When the park is only open for 6 hours total, EVERYTHING in the park should open when the gates open. MANY rides were closed. Log Ride, Excelerator, Montezuma's Revenge, Train, Almost all of Snoopyland, The Museum and Animal Barn were closed. The restaurant across from Blacksmith was closed. I spoke to a few employees and asked when the shows were starting, reply was The saloon show will not be coming back and the shows are not happening anymore. They didn't have any of the Western characters wandering through the park, I have to say I was extremely disappointed. So much so that I do believe this will be my last year as a season pass holder. Very very sad!

Spent a Friday at Knotts in August for Summer Nights with my season pass I have only had chance to use a couple times but it's still well worth it if your going more than once during the year. The thing that I wish is I presumed lines would be long and got the Fast Lane... well most of the day till evening on this Friday there were no lines. It added a lot of cost for no real real turn, so be wary of it sometimes. Especially if you only intend on riding your favorites and not repeating them as is usually the case with me. I just don't like lines that much either. I wish they had a limited version of Fast Lane for a certain number of rides for the day. I know that a single fast lane ride exists now but other than as part of a package not sure how you get that. But, most people want more than one ride. The summer Nights food deal was really good though, you got six items from a long list of restaurants and it probably would of been good to get one package for two people because for one person it was a lot of food in the evening and didn't make one want to go on any raucous ride really lol. I'm still sad that a few of the things like the northwest ghost Native American experience (sorry forget the official name) sits empty and silent with just a gift shop and sad that the old west theater doesn't seem to get much use. And the theatre where Snoopy holiday ice show is done seems not to be used that much during the rest of the year. I like the new Fiesta area and Western town area is still my favourite. Overall , Knotts is still a wonderful fun way to spend a day or part of a day.

Knotts Berry Farms is old fashion fun and a good value in California located near Disneyland Knotts Berry Farms is worth the visit and a much better value and a lot more fun then Disneyland as you get to travel back to the old west and the rides are family friendly. This is park for everyone and a must see if you're visiting Buena Park in California. Ignore Disneyland and check out Knotts Berry Farms as Disneyland isn't worth the money or the time unlike Knotts Berry Farms is.

Overall knotts has splendid rides and great food. The problem is the employees, this evening I went out with my family and we wanted to go on the ride hang-time. The employees told a family friend of mine that she has to get off due to her weight, although it might be for safety or because she was over the limit. It was very unnecessary for them to make fun of her. They called her names and made fun of her, a teenager. They need to be held accountable this is very unprofessional.

I actually had fun with it being my first time at Knottsberry. I really enjoyed the water rides (Calico Rapids and the Log Ride). The mine cart ride was slower and less thrilling than I thought and Jaguar was a little bumpy, but still fun and we enjoyed the arcade games. I'm only saying 4 out of 5 because I wish there was more variety with the arcade games and there were some rides that didn't have a lot of leg room for tall people (aka my husband). We both agreed we had fun though.

I haven't actually made it in the park yet, so I'll update this but I'm hoping management sees this: we expected lines, but this was pure chaos. Even with Prestige Passes the process of using our bring a friend tickets was not just unclear, it was completely unexplained, undocumented, unsigned. No one around us in the crowd (lines?) had any idea what was going on and we've been asking each other to figure it out. Disney may be more expensive but at least they explain what you're supposed to do and seem eager to get you in the park, not in a stagnant line...

It is ok, nothing super special in my opinion and a little overcrowded. The price of the ticket is ok. What I liked mostly was the snoopy area. Food is ok, a little expensive maybe.

Close in reasonable parking few crowds, amazing rides and a reasonable price make this a wonderful alternative to the other big 2 in la..forgot the big boys come here for an amazing good value time..you won't regret it

Best rides of all the theme parks, some real thrill rides. The Fastpass is ridiculously overpriced (compare to Disneyland) and crowd management not great - bit of a free for all.

I attended Knotts Berry Farm on January 31, 2023 and was planning to ride surfside gliders with my son and his friends at around the time it was closing. Unfortunately, the chain was already up to signify that it was closed a few minutes before my son and I got to join his friends. I asked the attendant, Aryanna, if my son and I can be added in the last ride as there were two open spots, she responded saying that she couldn't let us as she already closed it. We waited near the exit and saw 3 girls run in and ask to be added and at our surprise, we saw Aryanna let them in. They took the two last spots without being in the queue before she closed the gates. I understood the inability to allow my son and I to join the ride but we felt it was unfair of Aryanna to allow others to go on when they didn't wait before it was closed as well and asked her later than we did.

We had to choose between doing Disney on an off day or Knott's, and we picked Disney California Adventures. I don't know if that was a mistake, but we certainly felt it on a holiday Friday being in endless lines everywhere. There are certain lines that you can handle waiting it because you are always moving, like the river rafts. You also have an entertaining line since you can see people going by on the rafts. On the other hand, the Xcellerator was hell on earth. We had a 150 minute wait and all you have to look at is a line of people packed in like cattle with a 24 person cart going by every few minutes. Kids actually gave up and we left the line and the park to go get lunch, since the lunch lines themselves were an hour long. The rides we did get on were great, but we only made it on 5 in a day. When a fast pass costs an additional $100 a day, that is not worth the time or the money. I had fond memories of Knott's from being a kid and wanted my kids to like it. They ended up a bit happy but more frustrated than anything. There truly is an art to how Disney gets you to enjoy waiting (at least more than here). Now, if the other reviews are true on getting here on a weekday (non-holiday) and having free run of the park, I am sure my kids would have loved every minute of it as the are getting too old for Disneyland rides.

They close the park a lot in winter because of rain small park can walk it in 15 minutes food expensive employee not friendly nothing but generic roller coasters

I have visited Knotts a few times previously and would say its one of my all time favorite parks. I recently travelled to the area with my brother who is an avid theme park fan and who hadn't been to California before.
Prior to arrival I raved on about Knotts being one of the best parks out there and that the rides were really good.
Unfortunately on the day we attended it was a very quiet day. Nearly all of the major rides were for some reason not running. Ghost rider, Hang time, Xcelerator, Calico Mine & Montezooma's Revenge (I know this is down for refurb but all the more reason why other rides should be open) were all down when we arrived. We paid nearly $300 to visit this park with such poor ride availability, we left after only 2.5 hours. We were really disappointed to say the least and of all the places visited on out SoCal trip this was the lowest rated. This is a massive shame as I have rated Knotts so highly before. Staff didn't seem to care that the rides were down and the general atmosphere was dead across the park. Such a shame but I can't say I will rush back on my next trip as I wouldn't want to risk wasting so much money again.

Went over to Knotts Berry Farm to do some holiday shopping and I was disappointed. The shops there have a lot to offer, but it’s not the same as it was and that’s on me. I gave the shops a 3 out of 5 due to the 35 dollars parking to spend an hour or so shopping. Also, the jellies and jams are not Knotts brand, something else. Went there for great gifts and nostalgia and left with memories and some candy. Good way to spend an afternoon.

We went on a Monday during the first week of August and got there when they opened. Several people were already there ahead of us. We bought our tickets online and didn’t have to wait to pay but those lines weren’t long at all. Parking is $20 but it’s only a short walk to the gates.
Lines to the rides weren’t that bad. The longest we waited in line was about 40 minutes. Keep in mind though that even the roller coaster rides only last from 1-2 minutes! So you wait in line less time but the rides are super fast.
The park isn’t really that big but they’ve fit a lot into it! So not huge amounts of walking—I’ve walked much further at zoos!
But take comfortable shoes and plan on staying several hours.
There are a lot of thrilling rides that younger kids can ride! Many roller coasters only require you to be 48” tall!!
Buy the daily drink for $15 and you can refill every 15 minutes! Totally worth it because a large drink is $5! Refill stations all over and all of the walk up restaurants will refill also!
The chicken restaurant was SO expensive that we had to skip! The chicken dinner was $23 per person! We opted to not spend over $130 for dinner!! Claim Jumper is walking distance and has happy hour food and drink specials and the prices are great! As long as you sit in the bar area you can get the prices and they allow families to sit there!

Great clean park
The rides are amazing and good quality and thrilling…
No need for fast pass too
Love it all ..
Worth to spend a day at it

Took our son here and had a great time. There were plenty of rides and things to do for all ages. We also purchased the one day refillable drinks and used it all day with no issues. Really saved $$$.

I hadn’t been to this park since I was 7 or 8 years old. I will say it was along time ago. A long long time ago. Anyway, what a gem it was to go. It was the second day of Boysneyberry festival, we stayed on property. The park is clean, much bigger than I remembered and fun.
Why I gave it 4 out of 5, because Better signage; bathrooms, rides, general area directions. Maybe even directories in key locations. The park staff members said they don’t give out paper maps, but maybe a QR code to download the map at the entrances would be a good idea.

The whole park is amazing, great staff, friendly and pleasant. Very clean. Great shows. Snoopy's Ice show was amazing great performers as well as the calico stage Christmas show. Had lots of fun and got on every ride . Timber mountain was the favorite this time. Also tried some of the Christmas treats... cookies, cup cakes. Which were all great, even got photo's with Santa. Amazing park.

As we have been to Universal Studio, Disney, and Lego parks around world, then we decided, that we want to try US local park and after reading reviews of Six flags opted for Knott's Berry Farm. And we are so glad as the visit to Knott's Berry Farm was one of highlights of whole US trip.
The price for entry was almost 2 times smaller than for big name parks but unfortunately when we tried to buy online, it did not go through. But after arriving at the park entrance and explaining we were given the same discount as if we bought ticket online.
The first nice surprise was anthem of USA right before park opening and it felt so nice even if we are not Americans.
After the park opened people rushed to attractions, but it soon was clear that there is no waiting time for attractions.
We started with Sierra Sidewinder, but then we went for Ghost rider - that was so big fun, that we did it 5 times in row. Hang Time was again a super ride we did more than once. By that time, we started to look for other "5-star rides". First time we went for Xcelerator, there was a waiting time of around 15 minutes, but later in evening there was no waiting time, and we did it more times. Supreme Scream had a nice view, and we had a big laugh about other screaming but otherwise it was not such a thrill.
PonyExpress was relaxing, but for strange reasons there was more waiting time, so we did it once. Also, Calico Rive Rapids had around 15 minutes waiting time and as temperature was not so high, then we did it only once as you can get a wet:)
GhostRider was a super nice surprise as it was a very long ride and longest waiting time - around 30 minutes because there were many with fast pass coming again and again and during day there were times, when ride was closed. Other rides were not such a big thrill, but it was good to relax a bit after those super-fast rides. We did not stay till park closure as we had by evening around 30 rides and it was enough even for biggest ride fans:) There were still some rides left we did not try, also there were some nice performances and the best part - employees of the park were kind and smiling and that is such a big contrast to employees in those big-name parks. Also, food prices were OK and there was not so much waiting as in big-name parks. Overall - excellent experience and much better than big-name parks, where you can easily spend 1-2 hours in waiting just for one ride.

Now just a discounted version of a theme park. Knotts has not kept up with the higher tech and themed rides at Disney and Universal.

We went on a weekday in July. After waiting an hour and a half to ride one ride I decided to get the fast passes. The day went much smoother after that. We rode Ghostrider 4 times! The best ride in the park! They have several great thrill rides that were really fun !
The next day we went to Knott’s Berry Farms Soak City - don’t waste your time or energy. Soak City sucks. The wave pool and lazy river are subpar. There are 2 places to eat in the whole water park and 1 store to shop for souvenirs. We left after 2 hours and went to the beach. This is the worst water park I have ever gone to.

Got there when the place opened. My wife immediately went to go get her seasoned cup. Nowhere would give her one they would say go to guest services. She went to guest services and then they told her you have to go to another place to get the cup. Couldn't get the cup though because none of the drink stations were open park opened at 10:00 there were signs that said drink station opens at 11:00 drink station opens at noon. People are looking where to go to get a drink and the only place open was the cave at the kids side of the park. They didn't have the cups. I walked through Camp Snoopy and at least 70% of the rides are closed. They all say upcoming better entertainment but virtually nothing open. They even close down the stores a restaurant it was just no entertainment in that area. My wife finally got her drink cup and soda in it roughly by noon 2 hours. So if you're going to Knott's Berry Farm go with this in mind it's going to take a while before you get anything to eat or drink and I would say in the entire park 40% to 50% of the rides are closed. Even the log ride is closed.

I have a LOT to say about Knott’s Berry Farm. First of all, we loved the Timber Mountain Water Ride, and thought some of lands were well immersed, like Ghost Town, and most of the rides were pretty average. Then, the negatives, we payed a bit of money for a pass for food and drink and let me tell you, DO NOT BUY IT. The food is the most mid food I’ve ever had, and it just feels pointless when you just focus on the rides. To add, there’s a mid raft ride that didn’t get us wet at all, the park is pretty dirty and not very well maintained, the dark ride is HORRIBLE (DO NOT RIDE IT!! IT IS THE WORST DARK RIDE EVER!! IT’S LIKE SOME BERRY SHOOTING RIDE OR SOMETHING!), and the speaker systems kept glitching out and disconnecting. Do not come here if you want a mid experience.

This park is amazing and very underrated. Our family of 5 enjoyed every minute of our time and we did not want to leave. There is literally a ride there for everyone to enjoy. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rides seemed to be well-maintained.

Knotts handling of gun shooting panic was beyond unprofessional on July 9th. A simple announcement and turning off the music so we could hear what the police helicopter announcements could have reduced panic. People were running in large groups trampling those that got in the way. Children and were crying and many were separated from their parents. People were trying to hide from a shooter they thought was inside the park when the drive by was outside the park. But many didn’t know that because Knotts did not make a announcement.
People were given no directions on what to do. They only sent out a tweet. I like thousands of people there don’t have Twitter. Employees left people on the rides. There was no emergency plan. My husband and I have platinum passes. I don’t feel safe here anymore because of Knotts response. Knotts is not prepared for a emergency. This is unacceptable!
Also….The park has way too many people. 2 hours wait for a ride. 45 min in line to get food. Not fun! The reservation system is a way of limiting our benefits not to make our experience better. We have never seen the park so packed.
We are very disappointed in Knotts and will not be purchasing park passes in the future.

The experience of going to Knotts has really deteriorated. Getting in this place is like visiting an inmate at a maximum security prison. Like Disneyland, you have to pass though a TSA-type screening. Then they take your picture when you give them your ticket — not from a security cam but an in-your-face handheld device. Don’t bring your cell phone or stand-alone camera. They threaten to throw you out if you take photos. Apparently they don’t understand those photos and video sell more tickets than 10-times their paid advertising. If you’re age 15 and under, you’re supposed to have mommy & daddy lead your around on a leash, like a pet. Clearly this place has been taken over by lawyers. Fortunately I saw no pre-high schoolers hanging out with their parents. Expect to wait 60-90 minutes for popular rides. This partly due to gross traffic mismanagement. Example: a party of two on the river raft ride will take up a whole raft that accommodates 8. Why? Parking is $25 and no shuttle service. You’ll pay about $20 for a $3.50 cheeseburger or slice of pizza. Given the open hostility to guests, I’d say vote with your dollars and skip Knotts and all other amusement parks with a bad attitude. These CEOs need to learn the people who pay the money make the rules.

Knott's has always felt more 'real' than any other Southern California theme park, and while in no place will every employee be perfect and each experience just as you want, at the end of the day we always leave Knott's with a smile.
We have made three visits during COVID restrictions, and Knott's is doing an admirable job keeping surfaces, handles, and the park clean, and providing ample ride and table space between guests. Park management seems to know guests don't have to be directed and ordered in their every movement, and it's seldom I've been treated as a child who doesn't know not to step into the path of a moving vehicle, or told I can't stand in a certain place because it's been reserved for some un-identified purpose.
Far different than an un-mentioned park a few blocks away, Knott's provides actual tables, chairs, and places to eat throughout the park. No stooping over a garbage bin, or sitting at the curb balancing a plate on your knee, unless you want to.
The employees generally seem happy to be there, or at least have been trained to reply with a smile and kind response. On our vacations we've spent days at other parks, and at the end always regret we didn't spend that time and money on an extra day at Knott's.

Had a great time with family at Knotts Berry yesterday... we splashed out for the fast-passes. If you are to visit whilst on holiday with your family, I strongly suggest you invest in a fast pass, yes they are expensive, BUT, we managed to get on every coaster at least twice. The park has great decor and the rides are brilliant. I hope you have as good a time as we did... well done Knotts Berry... 5 stars from us...

Another great day at Knott's with my babe. Awesome time, an unbeatable value, and quality time with my love. See you in Sept/Oct for the Haunt!

Horrible day here. First off it's the wife's birthday. Get to the park it's 9:20 p.m. everything is going fine so far. Walk the entire park and not one soda station was open. Walk to the second time and they finally opened up one in the mines were a mile long. We did get to write a couple of rides before we left at 11:30 a.m. we got on to the log ride and the lady was stuck in one of the boats. Not one staff member would go to her Aid. A child and myself had to free her from the boat. Plus it's required of Knott's Berry Farm employees if somebody's wearing a birthday badge to say happy birthday that was said maybe once.

Great time of year to go to this park. Weather was perfect. We arrived at opening and for the first two hours no line on any rides. Wasn’t till around noon that the park started getting busy but even then it was very comfortable. Never crowded. Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was very good. Desserts were great. Try the boysenberry tart! Parking fee was steep $35 but the overall experience was fantastic. Also took notice that the grounds were spotless no trash laying around. And the decor of the park was well maintained. Nothing looked ratty or neglected as some older amusement do. Well done! Keep it up. We’ll be back. !

It’s not as glitzy as the Disney day parks but it’s much cheaper and not as busy so you can get on the rides. We were the o LG ones from the uk so it felt like proper America

The ride and food wait times are ridiculous. Almost all good rides were 90 minute waits and an hour wait for a slice of pizza! We spent $70 per person plus another $42 for the meal plan. The problem is you can’t really ride many rides when you factor in the wait times and getting a meal is a long wait when you have to miss rides.. A fast pass is an extra $90 per person and you really do need that to enjoy the park. I was stressed and frustrated most of the day. Also strangely even the indoor wait areas for rides had no AC. I had to walk out it was hot and steamy in line! Bathrooms were filthy. Really ghetto. I will never go again.

Ok ok this is not Disneyland .. But knott has a lot to offer first of all it was super clean better than Mickey house by far !!! I enjoy my time here at knott .. So.e food places were better than other s but again I can say the same for Disneyland ... I really enjoy the ghost town .. So fun to walk around ... In fact the park was fun ... I plan on going many times to the park.

A park with less people makes for good timing spot to spot. Good rides, fun times. The signage and the directions from section to section could be much better.

The staff at night during the scary farm attempted to sexually harass me and my mother. The were the clowns in roller skates being followed round by security that was not stopping this behavior. We ended up leaving and would never go back.

Wasted 550 dollars just for the ghost rider not to work and went to the wagon/carriage then on the train around the park. Only went on 2 rides and then the park closed right after the train. last time I was there until midnight not how it used to be over at knotts berry farm.

Knott’s Does It Again With Their Amazing 2022 Boysenberry Festival
Recently my wife and I went to Buena Park to visit Knott’s Berry Farm and enjoy another year of the famous Boysenberry Festival. We have made this annual event a regular part of our schedule and even when the world situation did not include rides and Wondercon as was the case in 2019, we still enjoyed the multitude of food, drinks, desserts, entertainment, and shopping that is on-hand.
This year we had a cruise that changed up our usual pattern of attending after a day covering Wondercon so we made sure to enjoy a couple of nights at the Knott’s Hotel before heading to the ship. During that time we visited the park to take in the festival and made sure to get our Taste cards the moment we entered the park. The cards offered six tastes for $50.00 and offered an Annual Pass discount of $45.00 a card.

Since this was our first trip to the park since December, we took our time taking in the vendors, entertainment, and decorations. The park was closing early on our first day due to heavy rain and I took advantage of a small crowd during this time to get on as many rides as I could that were still open as the lack of lines made it too good to miss even if I was dragging after an early morning and several hours of driving to make it to the park.
The weather was amazing on our second day and after a solid night of rest, we were eager to get to the park, my wife enjoyed taking pictures while I braved an early morning ride on the Calico River Rapids as the lack of a line was worth the risk of getting drenched early in the morning.
k1
My son and our Granddaughter were joining us later in the early afternoon so we took some time to explore and eat and my wife loved the Boysenberry Meatballs and Mashed Potatoes which were a very large and tasty offering.
k2
I decided to go with the Cowboy Chili and Macaroni and Cheese which was garnished with Fritos and Green Onions and even though I am a very infrequent drinker, it paired very well with the Boysenberry Cider.
Once our party was complete, we took in the animals in the barn as well as some of the character opportunities and the Pie Eating contest which was a delight watching the joy of the audience and the contestants as they raced to finish a pie without using their hands.
One of the great things about the park is the ability to move at your own pace and while it was crowded and many rides had long lines, we enjoyed seeing the Blacksmith work as well as visiting the various buildings in the Ghost Town area. Our Granddaughter loved seeing the animals and loved the crafts that were available in the Bottle House and we made sure to purchase a few items for her to paint when she returned home.
There was so much to enjoy from the candy shop visits to watching her light up when she won a Pokemon stuffed toy on one of the many games that were available. I enjoyed telling my son about my first visit to the park as a child and how his Great Grandparents took me around much the same way that we are taking our Granddaughter around and how it is building and connecting memories like this that makes a visit so special.
We had such an amazing time but had to get up early to drive to San Diego for our cruise so we planned to return after our cruise and a day at Wondercon for more fun and to use up our remaining tastes from our Taste Cards.
While the park was again filled with people enjoying the great weather and offerings, we had another helping of the Cowboy Chili and I tried the Boysenberry Sangria which was a great combination. We decided to give in to our sweet tooth and took in some of the amazing items in the bakery including a Boysenberry Pie Bar, a Boysenberry Brownie, and an amazing Boysenberry Mousse cake which was absolutely amazing.
While the week went by very quickly with so many things packed into our schedule, we had an amazing time at the festival and look forward to coming again next year and we are already hyped up to cover Knott’s Scary Farm in September.
The Boysenberry Festival runs daily through April 24th

Knott's has always been a favorite amusement park of ours. It was the first time we've been able to ride all the big stuff with our daughter. Once they are tall enough, it sure is a wonderful game-changer. We were there for Knott's Merry Farm and stayed from open to close.
The Christmas decorations were all amazing and helped us extend the holiday cheer a bit longer. Staff in the shops were really helpful. We loved the geode shop, blacksmith area and glass blowing. The shows are always top-notch and who can resist the train ride and stagecoach. Best funnel cake of any park- hands down!
We were anticipating long lines due to the holiday crowd. What we weren't anticipating was the ridiculous amount of line jumping from people of all ages. Kids, teens and those that should know better (grownups!) were cutting constantly. Large groups of people worked their way from the back of the lines with lame excuses that the rest of their group was up there... we witnessed an adult male shove a lady and her young son out of the way for his entire family. He then belittled her, hurling insults at her right in front of her child. This is after already being in line 2 hours. This line-jumping was allowed time and time again and the staff did nothing about it even though they knew it was happening. It is really difficult to try and show a child how to do the right thing when adults are jerks and don't play by the rules. This is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. They've got to figure out this problem. If you aren't going to do anything about it, why put on the park map that line cutting will not be permitted and you can be ejected from park for doing it?! It was the worst I've seen at any amusement park and made for a frustrating 3-day visit.

I’m so glad to have Knott’s Berry Farm back open again! They’re really going all out for the 100th Anniversary Celebration! The food is great as always and pass holders from last year are being taken care of well by having their passes extended throughout the new year and beyond! There are plenty of photo ops highlighting former attractions like the Haunted Shack, Kingdom of the Dinosaurs, Sky Jump, Soapbox Racers and the “K” off the Sky Cabin. There are QR codes hidden throughout the park that unlock short videos on various Knott’s history aspects! A new “K” Tower Lighting Show includes special lighting and fireworks! New character meet & greets include Whittles the prospector and Boysen-Bear and Crafty Coyote Pups! The latter ones tie in to the new ride Knott’s Bear-y Tales: Return to the Fair, which is a interactive dark ride! Various shows and live music are available throughout the day and for Summer Nights! All this, plus the other rides and attractions make this a place and summer, not to be missed!

We've always wanted to visit Knott's Berry farm because of the Peanuts theme and through word of mouth from friends. Our visit was very disappointing and I won't be returning. While there were a couple of good rides such as the Calico Mine and Snoopy's roller coaster, many of the rides we wanted to go on were closed. I'd had enough of this low brow place when my 10 year old daughter's fast pass wrist band ripped while we were in line and she wasn't allowed to get on the ride we had waited for. I was able to press the wrist band back together but the ride operator was so rude and disrespectful and didn't care. There are plenty of other theme parks in CA. I'll spend my money elsewhere.

We planned a trip to California and wanted to start with a good theme park with some good rides for teenagers. Knotts Berry Farm certainly fit the bill. There's a great mix of rides, from the gentle railroad to the very wetting log flume and rapids. A real highlight was the wooden coaster, Ghost Rider - this is far more intense than it first appears!
All in all, a highly recommended day out.
The extra charge for the fast lane option is well worth it on busy days - we went at the start of the holiday season on a busy day and had no queueing all day.
Rides worth noting:
Ghost Rider
Xcelerator
Hang Time
Silver Bullet
Timber Mountain Log Ride

Not a lot for our kids. We were super disappointed. There were Three different times that the rides broke down on us, after waiting over an hour in line. I could be biased because we are a Disney loving family, but we will not be returning with younger kids. There were very few rides they could go on.
We were there with a large group, so there were some older teenagers too. They seemed to like
It, besides the long lines.

Definitely something for everyone! We were unlucky that some of the rides were closed the day we were there and this was extremely disappointing. That said, the rides that we were able to go on were brilliant. As expected, food was extremely expensive as were the beverages. However, plenty of places to refill water bottles - an absolute necessity especially on a particularly hot day. All in all, an amazing day out but be prepared for long lines for rides, especially the more thrilling ones!

This was our first visit to Knott’s Berry Farm and it was just an average theme park like Six Flags. We thought it would have more of a unique farm theme to it, but it really didn’t except at the entry area. The park was overrun by so many school groups with obnoxious middle school kids everywhere. The kids kept trying to cut in the long ride lines to “hang out with their friends.” There were so many rides that were shut down as well. Maybe we should have gotten half price entry tickets since so many rides were not operational. That seems fair, right? One ride broke down while we were sitting at the table area in front of it. It had about 50 of the obnoxious school kids on it, so that was fun to watch. There was a craft fair going on for their boysenberry festival and that was unique for a theme park. I would not return to this park unless they go through a major overhaul.

I think the height limit is ridiculous because my sister couldn't go on a ride where u just go around and get splash with water but she could go on splash mountain that's very unfair u could tell she was about to cry but u guys are lucky she had a good time

Knotts Berry Farm is such a great place to either go with your family as there are family rides or just with friends which would be very fun! I have been going to Knotts berry farm my whole life I think since I was 2 months old. I didn't really go on any rides cause I was to young but we went a lot and the more I grew the more I got to go on rides and I loved it. I am a fourteen year old teen writing this just so you know it is so much fun for kids and teens and even adults! Personally, the food there is so good, it is expensive but it is so worth it! And there are a variety of shops you can buy stuff and also go onto so many rollercoasters. And by the way, Knotts berry farm started in the 1920's and the history of the farm is great. I read all about it. Rides I recommend are silver bullet, the log ride, and even ghost rider and so many more. And there is camp snoopy for your kids to enjoy which is a great little area for them to enjoy. I'm going on a fieldtrip to Knotts on the 25th of may 2023 which is in 9 days right now which I am very much excited about. I try to go as much as possible and I promise you the season passes are so worth it! The lines take awhile but try to get there early and between Monday - Friday maybe cause it gets so busy on Saturdays and Sundays. And also fast pass costs some money but it is pretty useful. But honestly, Knotts has so many things you can do like events and such and it is just so enjoyable and i think you should go there when you have a chance cause there are events, shows, great rides, musicals, food, shops and so much more! I hope this helped you out if you want to go or not, because I promise it is worth it.

very nice but long wait for ghost rider. looked a tad old and battered. berries were good. very good. too good. *dies* rrr

I like how Knotts hasn’t really changed over the years. It’s more like a well-funded county fair full of so cal accolades. The rides are good, even the Charlie Brown town (whatever it’s called) was lots of fun I rode all the rides with my little. Ambiance was great. It’s just like a happy place. The demographic is way different than Disneyland that’s not bad or good or anything. It’s just true. It seems like there’s more real Californians at Knotts. Only bad thing was there DAS non-functional service. They are supposed to be updating the service to be more functional like at Disneyland….because when we went they gave us a piece of paper and told us to go to the exit of each ride and write….idk they lost me after that. Overall great place though!!!

If you love rollercoasters then Knotts Berry Farm is ideal. Large kids area for those not big enough to ride the coasters. We really enjoyed Knotts Berry Farm with 7 kids from 3-15yrs old and will definetly go back. The hotel is awesome if you get the chance to stay, good package with tickets to Knotts Berry farm and breakfast.

We took the sky cabin ride today. About a third of the way down it stopped. We stayed stuck for probably half an hour. No explanations and updates were provided. About 10 mins in a voice asked if everyone was OK. Loud chorus of “no”s were met with “Great”. Happened once again. After being lowered close to ground level, we were again left with no information for probably 10 minutes before doors opened. No apologies offered. Asked staff what happened—“we can’t give you that info” or words to that effect. My child and I were the last 2 in line. Asked for name with no explanation as to why. From disingenuous and vague answer, it seemed designed to cover the park from liabilities. Seems at odds with mission statement:”Cedar Fair is dedicated to providing our guests with world-class thrills, fun and family entertainment, guided by the principles of safety, service, courtesy, cleanliness and integrity.”
Needless to say we will not come back and experience left my child very upset and unwilling to try other rides.

I grew up with Knott’s Berry Farm. My Dad was actually a “Depression Kid” & worked on the Berry Farm. Through the years the park has truly evolved. There are more rides & the Park is celebrating 50 years of Knott’s Scary Farm. Stop by the museum/store it is GREAT!!! Get ready for a 50th year Scarefest!🎃🤡☠️👻!

Visited with teenage kids (13 & 19) on a week day just after the schools went back and found the park to be much quieter than expected. It was almost deserted in the morning but gradually getting a little busier as the day went on. Longest queue time was just over 90 minutes - kids did 19 rides in one day. It was much quieter than Disney (2 days earlier) with better rides for older kids and better grab and go food options. The refillable drinks options proved to be a choice as the day was quite hot.

We visited as a family of 6. Three teenagers & one 5 yo. We had a great day. First Monday of back to school so not too busy. We all stuck together for first few hours... did thrill rides & parent swopped which worked well. We then took little one to camp snoopy whilst teenagers hit a few more rides. Lunch at Panda Express ok but probably only ok. At the end of the day teenagers & 1 adult queued for Ghost Rider ( it had been closed earlier) ... an hour queue but omg ... it was worth it.. best ride ever. Would love to do it again. We didn’t splash out on fast passes but we didn’t need them really.

I love Knotts but when did the park allow thier bands to get political on stage im speaking of Ride the Tide band. Isnt the park supose to be about fun and entertainment? Since when are band allowed to get political on stage and cut down the opposition? Weather you are right or left dont bring it into the park. I saw half the crowd get up and walk away. Yes thats good entertainment for the park. I think not...Knotts get rid of these guys... Horrible.

Went with my boys as a volunteer with the Y, and the experience was a lot better than I expected. There were quite a few camps there, but in a 5 hour day, we were still able to get on 6 to 7 rides. This was with 20 7 to 9 year old kids! It's been almost a decade since I last visited Knott's, so there were a lot of upgrades, and most of them for the better. The rides were newer and more intense, which is good for the older kids, but they still had their share of moderately extreme rides for the younger kids.
Based on price, parking, number of people, and rides, I'd bring the kids back to Knott's for the next few years.

Loads to do with plenty of rides and attractions. Plenty of food choices. Only downside is cashless so be prepared. We were on holiday from UK and took dollars with us. Rides for all ages from toddlers to thrill.

Loved Knott’s Berry Farm. Although it is a theme park it was not as overwhelming as most are. The lines were not ridiculous although they do offer fast passes. It was truly family fun. They have rides for adults and teens as well as rides for toddlers and small children. Visiting the Old Ghost town was educational and fun, a nice respite from all the rides. The food options are plentiful, just about what you would expect at any theme park but if you prefer a sit down dining option then you can go to their marketplace and enjoy Mrs’s Knotts berry restaurant. The food was good you can check that review if you like. Another feature is the whole Peanuts gang as well. Being a sucker for Charlie Brown obviously I enjoyed it.

Knott's berry farm is quite a nice theme park overall, however there are some things that could be done in order to improve the experience that lowered our enjoyment.
Overall we enjoyed our visit and had a nice time, but after visiting Disney and Universal, it's clear that some small things could raise the experience a few steps.
What we liked:
* The throw-away paper cups for drink refill. Great idea! Once you've finished your drink you don't have to carry around a bottle, you can just use your bracelet to get a new one when you're thirsty. However, the staff could stop nagging about buying a plastic cup every time.
* Great rides. All of them were in good shape and had smooth rides, those we tried anyway.
What could be improved:
* Loading/unloading of attractions takes unneccesarily long, especially in the children's area. It was painful to watch and stand in line when employees took forever to check that everyone was secure or had gotten off. Calico river rapids is probably the worst, where several boats are sent empty every now and then without reason.
* Singles and doubles aren't called forward generally to fill up open spaces. Some rides could go with almost only half the spaces filled even thoug the line was 30 minutes. They could learn a lot from Universal and Disney here, who has made both filling the rides and the load/unload to an ART. Single-rider lanes would also have helped a lot.
* No self-service for all-day dining. Very limited selection of drink compared to the 100+ varieties on the Universal Studios self-service. You also need to stand in line each time you wish to refill, which could be as often as every 15 min. All you do is stand in line basically.
* Refill stations and restaurants don't open and close with the park, but most of them open later and close earlier. As far as we could see that wasn't clearly marked on maps or information boards. Trying to get a drink refill 1 hour before close was almost impossible, unless you wanted to go all the way back to the entrance. It also messed up our meal/snack schedule, as we had planned for everything opening and closing with the park.

I, an older teenager, have EDS and my younger brother, an elementary schooler, has autism. Due to this, I walk with a cane and cannot physically stand without pain setting in for more than a couple minutes. My brother also gets extremely stressed from long waits and the feeling of confinement in a line. I was expecting that both of us would be out of commission after about 2 hours and need to go home from me being in too much pain and him being too stressed and that it would probably not be that great of an experience, but we lasted 6 hours and had fun the whole time. The disability accommodations are incredibly amazing, and so much better than so many other places I've been to, including calmer venues like museums.
The Boarding Pass system for disabled guests is just wonderful. When you enter, you go to guest services and let them know what's going on and you get your boarding pass with no trouble at all. One pass covers three guests so my brother and I didn't need separate ones and could stay together with our mother the whole time which was great. The system works like you go to your first ride, they mark the time you enter and based on the average wait time of park rides, they then write the time for how long you have to wait before using your Boarding Pass on the next ride. So unlike other places, you're not cheating the system, it largely discourages people lying or faking a disability to get on rides faster, and it doesn't make you feel bad for "cutting" the line, because you're not cutting the line at all.
What the boarding pass allows you to do is enter the ride in an area that requires less walking/standing and gives elevators for rides that need it, it lets you take your time in slowly walking from one place to another, and allows you to rest and wait outside of the ride area which is great for if someone is getting overwhelming/overstimulated or for needing a seat. By being able to wait outside the main line, we had such a great time through the whole day.
Additionally, in terms of accessibility with getting on and off the rides, the staff were all super helpful about my use of a cane, on almost all the rides we went on (since we generally avoided the super fast thrillers like supreme scream or xcelerator), since my cane is foldable, I was able to just fold it up and keep it with me and have the security of knowing I have it on me. On the one ride where I couldn't keep it with me, the employees running the ride held on to it and were very good about getting it back to me once the ride was finished.
The food allergy services are also wonderful. There are gluten and dairy allergies in my family, and unlike most other places where it's expected that a full meal won't be found and we'll just have to wait until we get home to eat, there were actually multiple venues across Knott's that had real, filling food everyone could eat.
There are probably more good things I'm forgetting to mention, but all in all, this was an amazing experience for 2 disabled people going to Knott's together, and lots of other places could learn from them and their strides in truly making this enjoyable for everyone.

Worth a visit over the holidays as the shows are better, lighting in some parts like Camp Snoopy are done well. Piped music is jarring instead of enjoyable since it changes from area to area and loudly overlaps - often not holiday music and this was during Berry Merry time at Thanksgiving. Enjoyed the spiced wine, but wondered if it was alcohol free lol. Only real complaint is the rides are so understaffed, they go super slow and the wait times made most of the rides not worth waiting for, so actually left earlier than expected. Knotts stores had almost nothing worth buying, so saved money there. All the little booths were entertaining but again, little worth buying. They do have the evening Snow, some cute light effects, little music, poorly done Snow (clumpy and just shot out in streams) but the kids enjoyed it anyway.

I don't know why we have waited so long to go to Knott's Berry Farm! We had so much fun. First of all it wasn't overly crowded. It was a little crowded but we were able to get on every ride we wanted too. The lines weren't too bad. Some of the rides were scary, which was awesome! I also couldn't believe how clean everything was. The park was well taken care of. We had a really nice day there. We are looking forward to going again.

Great day out with the family. We visited from London and decided here rather than Disney.
The rides are brilliant and there is lots of food and places to sit and enjoy.
The disappointing part was the queuing. At least an hour and half each ride. The express was very overpriced at a cost of $134 per person not including your tickets. We bought tickets and asked to upgrade to fast lane but they do not offer upgrades just the extra cost. For a family of 4, the cost was just too high.
I would suggest getting there as early as possible. We arrived at 9am and left at 6pm. We stopped for a fruit bowl and water for 15 mins and still didn’t get round all the rides because the queues. 3 big rides were closed and one kept stopping to test.
The big thing we noticed is the queue jumping. It’s a real issue there. Many queue and then the whole family join when you are half way round and you get people trying to get past you all the time. One ride, we counted 19 kids walking past and the people in front of us told us not to say anything as they will start to argue. Little upsetting when you have smaller children who have been queuing for an hour in the heat.

Great staff , good environment for the kids , tickets are affordable . Ghost town grills best place to eat . Currently theming is for Halloween and great during the days for kids

Some good thrill rides and funky (but good) older attractions. Staff does the minimum possible so don't expect any help or service. Very crowded on weekends, empty during the weekdays. If you will go more than once, the annual pass is an exceptional value.

We've been to Knotts several times, during non-events and always found the Fast Lane to be a tremendous value by how many rides we're able to do. I saw reviews that the Scary event is very crowded, so purchased the Fright Lane pass. We were able to get on some rides with a minimal wait time - but the mazes were ridiculous. Infected was about 90 minutes with the pass, with the line attendant telling us it could be worse, the 'regular line' was over two hours. Certain areas of the park were so crowded, it was difficult to walk around. We also go the unpleasant experience a few times of being in lines, when folks nearby were smoking weed. No matter your side on this topic, others shouldn't be forced to smell that shiz. I was curious as well on the rather high volume of extremely drunk folks stumbling about. We always go into Knotts knowing it's for the thrill rides and is no "Disney" - but it's a bit much to spend extra money for a "Fright Lane" pass, with LONG lines, drunks and dopers about.

Very disappointing day. Sign at entry says show proof of vax or negative test within the last three days OR wear a mask while in the park. No one was checking that so no one was wearing a mask except some of the employees. New rules are now that service dogs are no longer allowed on many of the rides which we used to ride with our dogs. Waited in line for 40 minutes at Johnny Rocket to open only to be told that they only have half of the restaurant open for customers; the only way to get an order to go (to eat outside) is being seated inside, ordering, and then asking for a to go container; and they couldn't seat our group of 12 at the same time. Johnny Rocket had rude kids at the front doing the seating. We rode on the train and we give that an A and we had a good meal at Chicken To Go and give that an A but the rest of the day was an F. Rude employee's. The prices for food was unbelievable after paying $20.00 to park and then $75.00 to get in. Really disappointed with the way it was. Very disappointed. No respect for veterans, seniors or disabled folks.

Full of Christmas spirit!! The shows are all about the holidays. The music and costumes are just beautiful.
Surprisingly, Christmas Eve day has less crowd. Shorter lines on the rides.

Lines where long i was sorta impatient but i was able to go on some rides. The scariest ride was supreme scream and the xelerator that i did not go on. Very fun there you should go there some time.

Perfect Theme Park! You could easily spend two days here if you visit the water park as well. We just went back for our second visit - only one day, but it was a full day.
We showed up before park opening and waited for rope drop. At opening, I took the younger kids (6 & 12) to the Pony Express roller coaster and my husband took our teen son over to ride a few of the more intense roller coasters. This was a good strategy. We got a decent amount of rides in before lunch. Once the crowds built up, we went and experienced the Ghost Town Alive activities.
This park has a good mix of rides, shows, and a unique old west ghost town. I simply love it. This is a great destination for families and all ages.

Fun place to take the kids. The prices are a lot more reasonable than Disneyland and the food was less expensive. The rides had signs which help select the rides that were appropriate for the kids. The only downside was the lack of signage to access the parking lot.

The single worst theme park experience I have ever had. Totally ruined 3-year-old's birthday. The parking was bad enough but, okay, there's only so much control Knott's has over that. Finally get over and there's a TWO HOUR wait in line just to get through the gate. We already had tickets but that didn't seem to matter. There were zero Knott's employees doing crowd control and it was a total mess. When you do get to the front of the line you find out there's a second much faster line. Boy did we look like chumps, eh? Us and the thousands of people waiting in the long line that was snaked around the block.
Once inside the park, we were only interested in the Snoopy area and the little kids rides. So wasn't it wonderful that FOUR of those rides weren't operating? Meaning the lines for all the other little kids rides were totally insane. Many were 1 hour+ with lines snaked all over the park. We waited 45 minutes for a train ride that went around the track once and literally lasted 60 seconds.
The entire park was over capacity (I'd estimate by at least double), understaffed, and we left after one ride having already spent three hours there and having no intention of subjecting our two young kids to more of the insanity. Can't see myself ever ever going back, that's how bad it was.

Others have compared this to the Six Flags in the area and although some of the rides here are good they can't compare with 6 Flags.
Anyway, our Knott's Berry visit was during off peak and not a lot of visitors about so we got through everything quite quickly. The range of the rides are very good but the ride operators aren't interested in interacting unless you visit the Ghost Town area where the actors get the public involved through various staged events. The guy in the bar with the banjo show was very funny.
Food wasn't that good in the day time and struggled to find anything decent open due to it being off peak.
Ghost Rider was out of action for majority of the day but we got on it twice when it opened late afternoon. Wow, that was the most insane ride on site. It's an old wooden coaster but upgraded so not to make your brain rattle but it just went faster and faster as the ride progressed. So much so that we thought it would come off the rails on some of the corners and each sharp bend you end up pushing into the person next to you. We went on it a second time and sat at the front and it was even madder! Not the fastest in the world but for an old wooden coaster it was pretty mad!

Horrifying wait times. No enough rides for the price. Our local county fair is more fun. Don't waste your money. Kids rode 2 rides 3 hour waits.

A relatively small amusement park (still full of things to do). There are some good roller coasters. Wild West Complex is lovely. Opposite a good and relatively large water park with lots of facilities. Overall worth the ticket price, recommend doing a ticket to Los Angeles from three days and up there is also Universal and then it pays off.

this theme park is like been in the old country with cowboys and indians, but with today modern attractions and rides for teens and charlie brown characters town, for little kids, good food, good price, no to crow it , and ghost town can be very relaxing,

The rides seemed ok, but the wait times were WAY too long. 2-3+ hours is stupid and unnecessary. The park needs to improve its loading and unloading procedures. Instead of asking for single or double riders, they would just partially fill rides before sending them off. That might be ok when the park is not busy, but it was unacceptable on a busy day during Thanksgiving week. My kids all said they would not go there again without the fast pass, which is double the price of a regular ticket. Also, the food lines were equally ridiculous. My husband waited in line for chicken fingers for us for at least an hour while the kids and I were on a ride. I’ve never seen food lines so long and slow. There weren’t enough hours in the day to go on every ride, but I do not plan to return. I’d rather go to Six Flags or Disney where they know how to keep lines moving.

This park is definitely not the place to go if you have any kind of disability or are in a wheelchair. They are totally unaccommodating and their system is completely outdated. Plus, some of the employees are just outright ignorant and rude. Riley, at The Sidewinder, wouldn't let us get in the wheelchair accessible line because she said that someone from the Jaguar, which we had rode earlier, filled out our form wrong. We repeatedly told her that that had nothing to do with us and clearly was not our fault but she stayed on the phone for 10 minutes and held the line to verify that it was accurate. By the time that she actually did, she came back out and told us regardless we weren't able to ride the ride the four of us. We pointed out that the front of the pass says you can go with up to five people and she said that we would have needed to have people not in the wheelchair wait in line. I kind of had that we've been waiting for over 20 minutes at this point and she just didn't care. Horrible customer service and I truly hope to God that one day she has to deal with something like this so she can know how embarrassing and awful it feels to be called out like that in front of a group of people. The ADA would have a field day with this place.

Knott’s Berry Farm has something for every age. Smaller kids enjoy Camp Snoopy with perfect rides for their age. For the more daring there are many exciting rides to give them the thrills they are looking for, and for those that just want to walk around and enjoy the day Knott’s Berry Farm delivers. From the train ride, to the stage coach ride, and just strolling down ghost town, what a fun day!

Knott's Berry Farm was so much fun! I loved the country theming and the nod to Peanuts! We had a blast trying out the rides, stopping for a bite to eat, and even meeting up with Whittles! Unfortunately we missed the Peanuts meet and greet due to arriving late but we will be sure to catch them next time!
It was so relaxing to stroll the park and take in all that it has to offer. Such a good time and definitely something we would do again.

An hour and a half wait just to get into the park!!! Photo is the line wrapped around the corner before even getting through the gates. Two hours in line to get to my first ride. Worst park ever.
Btw, I’m a platinum member with Carowinds as my home park (which is awesome). I’m also a shareholder of your parks. Fix this !

by workers being more nice school field trips go and the worker was mean hey u can't cut even if Ur friends are in line for you and I should not recommend it most of its rides are broken you should go I recommend going to SeaWorld better rides nicer staff but the only thing I want is staff to be nicer and schools choose a differ field trip then Knotts

I last visited Knottsberry farm in 1985 and there were a lot of animals there and now there are none. The buildings and attractions are the same. The food was rather ordinary and had the worst Hot Dog in my life. Most of the people were very friendly and we had a reasonably good time overall.

My 20's son and I visited Knott's Berry Farm on a Monday in early March. This was both of our first times here, being from out of state. We were thrilled to find it practically deserted (pre-covid) , probably due to students being in school. We were able to tour the entire park and go on any ride we wanted with minimal wait. Our only disappointment was that the wooden roller coaster was closed for repairs.
I purchased tickets through AAA online prior to my vacation and it was open ended as long as we used it between January and March. Driving, we circled the entire park looking for the parking entrance which did not seem well marked. It was annoying that the parking is quite far away and quite expensive (about $20). We would have done better to park on a side street or shopping center and walking over. There is a great walkway once you get close to the entrance with a few shops. One of these was worth a stop - on the walls was the history of Knott's Berry as pertains to its origins as a Farm. There were also ads and photos depicting all the decades it has existed as an amusement park. There were also some delicious boysenberry products for sale ( this berry is the farm's claim to fame).
Once inside the gate, there are several themed areas to experience - Camp Snoopy (there is a Snoopy Meet and Greet here and child themed rides), Fiesta Village, the Boardwalk and the Ghost Town. Our favorite was the ghost town which had authentic buildings and souvenirs and the BBQ was good for lunch. There are a few performances through out the park that were fun to catch - some geared towards the younger crowd like the magician.
We enjoyed the thrill coasters. They seemed to be challenging enough to please most folks. We recommend this themed amusement park to others.

We go to Knott's so often, I just can't review every trip. My grandson loves it and the prices are not insane like Disneyland. Parking is not hard, it is for a fee, but not an absurd price.
They have some great food there. They are famous for their Knott's Chicken Dinner place, where you can sit or get to go.
The place does get very crowded and I wish they would limit that, so it does not take an hour to get on a 2 minute ride.
The staff is super friendly and they know the park well. I urge you to buy tickets on line before you go. It is also a few bucks cheaper. Their Season Pass prices are reasonable if you plan on going a lot--Buddy has been there 12 times in 2022.
What we really like are the special events. They have Knott's Spooky Farm aimed at kids as opposed to Knott's Scary Farm which is for teens. They also go all out for Christmas with Knott's Merry Farm.
It is all fun. Go.

Ghost Rider is terrible. 3 hour how dirty noisy wait with poeple crowded together without masks. No signage warning how long a wait or what was all about. The whole ghost town so wimpy, and the entrance conceals what the ride is all about, we thought would be another silly wimpy ghost town thng. first floor packed, but then had second floor to wait all packed... real scam. The ride is not healthy with so many jerks. Defnintely no.

If you don't have the skip the line ticket then don't bother going here. The ride wait times will be double whatever is posted. We waited so long for the mine ride we thought it was broken. They take anyone with the skip the line ticket before those waiting in line even if they just walked up. Most other amusement parks will balance this to keep the line moving. Just because you have the skip the line ticket should't mean you don't have to wait at all. Average about 1 ride / hour and food lines were just as long. We ended up leaving so we could feed our kids. I definitely won't be back!

Don’t even bother going without a fast pass, which doubles your cost, even with a family dining plan. We were the first people in line after a ride reopened and they have let every fast pass holder in front of us for 45 minutes now. Crappy customer service.

This was by far the worst experience we had in California. The lines were long, wait times weren’t even close to what was posted and the food lines were awful. There was no urgency to get guest through. If you did have a fast pass you had to wait for all of them to be let through before you even could move forward. We will NOT be going back and wasting our money or time

They were very accommodating to people with disabilities but the lines for food were so horrible. They are definitely short staffed. We had all day dining and couldn’t stand the lines. The rides were fun and the kids enjoyed themselves.

Visited SoCal with a small group of teenage Girl Scouts. We planned to visit several venues and Friday was reserved for Knotts. I haven't been to this park for over 30 years, growing up with Knotts primarily as a berry farm and Mrs. Knott's restaurant with a ghost town and train -- even recall the row boats and donkeys! So I was excited to be able to share the experience with my Girls. Oh the disappointment! Since the Knott family sold to an obvious amusement park company, it has so gone downhill, plus the overall area has obviously changed. It's now just a big carnival. And what happened to Independence Hall? Too bad; still have the wonderful childhood memories of a simpler time and venue, though.
Park was super crowded, some of the rides were simply not worth the time spent in line (absurd). "Free" wait time app is worthless...wait times were double of those displayed. A sign of the times was apparent when the police presence within the park became obvious. sigh
Pricing on just about everything is far too high. Parking is terrible. Food...didn't even go there, we brought our own in.
Girls were disappointed overall after I had built it up...a waste of their hard-earned funds. :(

The best park in California. Whenever I come from Spain I try to visit the park. This is the third time I visit it. For Christmas reasons I visited the park at this time. Nothing to envy other parks. You can experience an authentic American Christmas, that's how I felt it. I will always say that the park has a charm that pleasantly surprises me. Its crafts, its streets, its attractions, the friendliness of the employees... You immerse yourself in another era. American golden age. Counting time again to be able to return.

First trip. wait times were almost non existent
worth it. the parking lot was a bit of a hike from the entrance mightve been better to walk from.our hotel

Wait times were high. The Boysenberry festival was okay, but the tables were always taken so it was hard to relax and eat. The operations at this park are horrible. Very slow load, unload procedures. Even with the fast lane you still end up waiting almost 30 minutes because the operations are so terrible. This was a one and done for me. I will stick with going to Disneyland.

Visited here in August and it’s the best theme park I have ever been to. Friendly, lines not to long. Reasonable food prices. The best ride is the wooden roller coaster but I am old school. Next is the x celebrator. Any fantastic place not to be missed in LA

If you don't get a fast pass expect to spend most of your day in lines. The park is still fun but lots of rides were closed when we were there.

We so wanted to love this park-the park that inspired Walt Disney to create Disneyland. BUT, the little touches that make Disney so good were sadly lacking. The staff were helpful if you asked them anything but none of them went out of their way to help you. I use a walking stick and was never once asked if I needed to use an accessible entrance to a ride, or if I needed extra time to get on a ride. In fact we never saw any staff at the entrance to rides to ask about accessibility.
We queued for 20 minutes for Knotts Bear-y Tales ( a virtual shooting game) and when riding did not register any hits on the targets. When we got off we told the ride controller that there was something wrong with the guns as we had not scored anything and she shrugged and said "I'll report it" Disney would have let you ride again on another car!
Food choices were minimal as half the restaurants were closed the midweek day we visited, although what we had we enjoyed and it was substantial enough to share (Best thing we ate was the boysenberry tart BTW)
The ride is definitely geared around coasters, and as we are neither big fans we did not ride many of them but there was other things to do-the Camp Snoopy area, although aimed at little kids, was the best part of the park for us!
I'm pleased we visited but certainly wont be back!!

Theme park is good but they now scam you by getting you to pay for a locker to hold your bag every time you ride. Seriously, $2 to hold your bag on all the popular rides. It's like they don't screw you enough with the entrance fee, parking fees, meal and snack costs etc etc. Now they get another $2 everytime you wait 1-2 hours for a ride.
Come on Knotts, I thought you were better than Disney!

So glad was able to attend Knotts Merry Farm on this very rainy Monday night after new years. Was able to see the Snoopy on Ice show which is so much fun and entertaining. Despite the light rain it felt so holiday fun central on this evening, old town was awesome with the snow and found a nice burger and fries, for once tried not to worry about rides, this could be a bi-product of becoming a annual passholder for 2023 and it was nice to just enjoy the shops and interesting things around the park without worry about the rides. Highly suggest taking in the park and just enjoying the other things in the Theme park which is what makes this so much better than Magic mountain, nothing up there but extreme rides, no character.

We went on a school trip and it was ok I guess. The lines were incredibly long and my friend and I ended up sitting on the floor for all of them because they were so long, we were tired of waiting in line, and our legs hurt from standing so much. Also NEVER get their Panda Express because both my friend and I ate it and we both got sick and almost threw up it was so bad. And when we were eating it we couldn't even finish it it was so bad! NEVER EAT AT THEIR PANDA EXPRESS. If you do end up going though make sure you do get a fast pass because the lines took so long! The fast pass would be so worth it and I wish I paid extra for it!

To all of those people who think this park is run down and bad, The company is very nice and has more parks all around the U.S. and one in Ontario, Canada. After visiting this place for the first time i absolutely f*cking loved it. We got PERFECT service and we barley had to wait in line, even though we didn't have the FastLane Ticket. I came here with one of my best friends and my mom and it was my first time going since around when i was 3. I'm 13 now and i loved this park. It has a lot of entertaintment value and has a lot of historical value. The only thing i was bummed about was not being able to eat at the chicken place. I will try to go to the restruant and make a youtube video on it someday. We also got on ghost rider when the wait for it was 5 minutes long, and we got on Pony Express, HangTime, Xcellerator, The Log Ride, Montezooma's Revenge, Jaguar, and Silver bullet in under an hour. Cedar Fair is one of the greatest theme park companies ever, Outclassing Disney and Unviersal in Both Cost and Thrill. 10/10 Park

A lot of new work done on some of their rides. They are celebrating their 100th Anniversary with beautiful decorations, shows, rides...They also added a lot of seating and tables... ADVANCED RESERVATION REQUIRED DUE To COVID.

This amusement park (America's first "theme" park, 100 years old) remains a very good experience for people of all ages, and all physical abilities. Our visit involved children 3 and 7, and they truly had a great time. So did we. There's a huge assortment and number of rides, from the most ridiculously scary coasters down to the very simplest of fun attractions for tiny tots, and everything in between. And they're all included in the general admission price (more on that below). The park is very well maintained, clean and bright. Restrooms are well maintained. The rides themselves all appear very well maintained and in excellent working order. For the little ones, it was possible to enjoy an entire day in just the "Camp Snoopy" theme area, which the kids loved. This area includes a lot of "low-thrill" attractions which are just right for very young children, including a gentle balloon ride, Snoopy's "flying aces" airplanes, and an adorable, tiny mining-car "ride" called "Huff & Puff which was the favorite of our 3 year old. But there was plenty more for them beyond Camp Snoopy, including a genuine old merry-go-round the kids loved, an old full-size railroad ride, and some costumed characters, plus lots of "medium-thrill" rides familiar to amusement park goers everywhere.
Knott's seems to make extraordinary efforts to accommodate people with physical disabilities. Rides are described in great detail for guests to determine if they can negotiate situations.
The Knott's website, likewise, contains outstanding detail about virtually every ride, including clear advice to help families decide if the "thrill level" is appropriate for every age.
Still... to help future guests anticipate the real-world of Knott's... Our visit occurred on an off-season Tuesday, and we got the unmistakable impression that Knott's was operating a bit half-heartedly. Most of the "shows" dotted on stages around the park were closed. Even the famous "wild west stunt show" only appeared one day in the week.
Food service operations clearly designed for peak-season stress were severely understaffed. At 11:30am, when the Grizzly Creek Lodge (serving the little-kids theme area) should have been geared-up for lunch, the small staff was poorly organized and the kitchen clearly unprepared. The menu is very simple, so the kitchen should have been churning out burger and chicken baskets briskly for a crowd of young, impatient little ones. Staff was (literally) shouting out order numbers and bellowing about extra cash registers opening... while the kitchen couldn't keep up with the orders.
At dinner, immediately after the park closed at 6pm, Knott's "famous" chicken dinner restaurant was likewise clearly underwater. The sprawling restaurant had dozens of empty tables, but was turning away guests with "40-45-minute" wait time declarations. Wait staff was working hard, but struggling to keep up. Again, at a completely predictable peak service time, the restaurant was unable to handle the light off-season crowd.
Staff operating the rides (naturally mostly teens) were listlessly pushing their buttons and making their scripted announcements without the slightest hint of "theme" to engage the park's guests.
At the understaffed lost-and-found ("Information") office, predictably swamped at closing time, employees moved like molasses behind many more computer terminals than there were operators, while a line of guests stretched into the entry courtyard. Our inquiry about a lost item was treated with a "who cares" attitude behind the counter.
Advice to families with small children: try to park in the "Main" parking lot, rather than the "South" lot near the Knott's hotel. The south lot is a very long walk from the park entrance and, surprisingly, there is no shuttle; walking toddlers back to that lot after a long day at the park is lonely and long.
Some notes on pricing: While we were mindful that the rides at Knott's are very good, and are all included in the admission price ($50 per person for seniors and children), we still had the nagging feeling of mediocre value on our off-season visit. Parking ($20 and $25) is not included (why not?), and does not offer a shuttle of any kind. A cheeseburger with fries (and no drink) at lunch is $16. And tossing just a single ball at one of the country-fair style "games" costs $4. Dinner at the Knott's Chicken Dinner restaurant seemed much fairer: dinners (even for kids) are sold "prix fixe" and include an appetizer and dessert. The rhubarb appetizer and boysenberry pie are quite good, but don't expect much in terms of either "atmosphere" or food; it's a functional place.

7 hours at park and 4 rides broke down while almost to front. Niagara, ghost rider, pony express and sidewinder. Literally went on 3 rides in 7 hours

Highlight of the park is definitely the Ghost Rider. This wooden coaster has been refurbished and is now faster than ever.
Another not to be missed ride is Hangtime. The newest addition to the park, this ride is amazing.

It is not Disneyland but then again they did not make you wear a mask on rides and inside. Knott's has a much more Southern California Chill attitude than the house of mouse. Possibly because most of the people I met there were from the area and the tickets are much cheaper. We were there for the 100th celebration and Summer nights and it was a lot of fun. I log ride was broken down all day and Beary Tales is sub par replacement for Voyage to the Iron reef. But after spending the day before at Disneyland I appreciated the laid back atmosphere at Knott's. Planning on going back for Scary Farm. just one piece of advice, if the app says there is a 20 minute wait, it is more like 40 minutes.

We went the last week of October and tickets were so much better value than Universal or Disney. The weather was lovely and we didn’t have to queue all day. Food was a bit pricey but the staff were all really friendly. There are some great roller coasters but we also had fun on other rides lick the log flume and bumper cars. The place was also all decked out for Halloween which looked really good.
The Hangtime Coaster is a must, it literally dangles you over an edge with only a lap constraint. Montezooma's Revenge is a classic, also with only a lap constraint. I highly recommend trying both.
