So many bees!

By Aryn B |

We had a fun time overall, but the number of bees in the park is kind of crazy! I'm not sure what can be done about this, but there has to be something. Other than the overwhelming amount of bees my son had a great time and we love how many playgrounds there are for when you dont want to stand in long lines.

Meh for me Yeah for the little

By Tamara R |

This is definitely a place for children. I would call it MeetUp for the littles. Being that this is the off season, there is a lot of things closed. If my niece had a friend or a little cousin to go with, I feel she would have had a wonderful time. The admission fee for my visit today should have been less due to attractions being closed as well as a few of the eating spots. I was there from 10:20 until closing. We ended the visit in the Sea Life. That alone made me feel better about Legoland. Also, I am vegan and did not find any options. I was extremely surprised by that.

We got the tickets to take my 15 year old Autistic son. All he wanted to do was drive a car and get his license. When he was in line for the cars it says 13 but we figured we would try. They didn’t ask him his age but he is one to lie so he told them he was 15. They would not let him on. I get it age restrictions. But he is about 7 when it comes to IQ. He was heart broken. He was able to get a DL anyway. But he really wanted to drive. Maybe your staff can be a little less strict on age when it comes to a ride like this. For a couple positives. My son saw a worker cleaning after the parade. He told the worker he liked the Lego guy he had on his name tag. The worker gave it to him. I wish I would have gotten his name. But he was awesome and my son loved it. The next positive was when we were at the Ferrari experience. He was talking with the lady. My son is very friendly. But because he talked to her he started the car for him and let him hear it start up. She then even took our picture for us. She was really nice. I do like how you are sensory sensitive.

Good, except..

By Natalie K |

there was poop in the splash pad but nobody came to shut it down and the water just kept running. There were a lot of fun things, all the decorations the statues made of Legos and little cities, that was very cool. There was also an outbreak of bees everywhere. Could have been just that it was really hot when we went and if those two things could get fixed, I would definitely go again or just not go during the summer.

Susan is the best! VIP Experience

By Jared B |

It was my 6 year old daughter’s birthday so I wanted to treat her to an unforgettable experience. We did the Ultimate VIP experience and it was exactly what I’d hoped for. It was a Monday in May so it wasn’t incredibly busy but still busy enough that being able to skip the lines was perfect. My daughter felt so special because she was able to ride the rides two times in a row with the VIP tour. In addition, they announced her birthday on a few rides over the loud speaker and she lit up with joy.
Susan, our tour guide, was incredible. If/when we do another visit we will be asking for Susan again for sure.

The day flew by which tells me that we had a blast!!

Great place!

By Maryann M |

We love Legoland, it’s a great place to go with kids! Lines are reasonable and plenty to do and lots of playgrounds. Food is also great, we enjoy the spicy chicken sandwich and bbq.

Wonderful 2 Day Family Vacation

By YanCalCo |

Had a nice time although the online parking ticket did work so we had to repurchase it and received outstanding help from Dennis at the Guest Relations office. It was a little confusing getting to certain rides We had to keep looking at our map. There was really no signage directing you in Legoland to know where the water park was until you arrived. Over all we had great experience.

Legoland is the best!

By Jessica S |

Legoland never disappoints! We come every other year as a family and we have made so many beautiful memories here. I would like to thank all the amazing employees that make the park a welcoming place for us.

Best Experience For My 5 Year Olds Birthday!

By brandi williford |

We stayed at the Legoland Castle in California. The hotel was awesome! Easy access, everything was on our floor. Only steps from restaurant, pool and play area. Went to Legoland, the water park and Legoland again at night for Brick or Treat!! We had the best time. Lines were not long. Kids loved it!

By Kathy M |

Great fun for families with young children (12 and under). Interactive rides and cool Lego cities. We spent about 7 hours in the park and it was perfect!

Ultimate+ VIP Tour with Sammi

By Jennifer J |

As first-timers at Legoland, we had the absolute pleasure of spending the day with Sammi on our VIP tour, and she was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we met her, her warm, friendly energy set the tone for a fantastic day. Sammi was enthusiastic, incredibly personable, and made every moment feel special. Her love for Lego truly shines, and her infectious smile kept our whole group smiling too! She was wonderful with our kids—engaging, patient, and full of fun facts—and she made navigating the park a breeze. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Thank you, Sammi, for making our Legoland experience unforgettable!

Playmaker's are fun!

By Passport09641364651 |

I just wanted to give a special shoutout to playmaker Jay! My son absolutely adored her little ninjago station she set up!

Beautiful park for children

By Rebeca Y |

Beautiful beautiful fun, tender, we had a very happy time, it is a 100% family place, my boy loved the fireworks closure was beautiful. We traveled from Mexicali, it was worth the whole trip etc, we will return

Enjoyable experience

By Maicol C |

The Castle hotel had great amenities for the kids. My kids definitely enjoyed it. The dragons den is the place you want to dine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Brick restaurant was a total mess, the bus staff wasn’t clearing plates between courses, which left people’s tables crowded including ours and made the meal a bit disorganized, it’s a small detail, but one that really affects the dinning experience. With more attentive table service, this place can be much better. Cups were not available in a timely manner, where we had to wait for quite some time for the staff to replenish.

Great for family with creative cautious kids

By Kim H |

Awesome theme park that also offers kids many unstructured play opportunities too that kids need and thrive with (playgrounds, creative building, etc.). This lower key pace was just what we needed and have us a chance to really enjoy our time more than other theme parks. Great intro for my cautious kids who weren't sure if they'd even like roller coasters. Appreciate the optional "side quests" they have with pop badges and trading Minifigures.

First time visit, forever a fan!

By Jay B |

I love Legoland and will be buying a season pass for my family. This place was a blast and had everything a little kid could want. My son is autistic and cannot stop talking about his trip to Legoland and cannot wait to go back. It was our first visit and the staff was so friendly, the disability accommodations were perfect and easy to get. Every ride or attraction has a sensory sign so you know what to expect, everything duplo was perfect for the little's. I cant rave enough about this place. You should for sure go. Also they have a buffet and honestly, I feel like it was a good deal for the money if you can eat a lot of have kids that can eat a lot.

Family summer vacation

By Evelyn O |

First time for the whole family and we had a blast!! Loved the creativity with the Legos and the rides where awesome 👌 definitely will come again! 🤩🥳 Thank you, from Evelyn and the Family 😉

Really great for families

By Mobile35414115955 |

Really geared towards families!! Every point during my stay there was something to do for the kids. It is a theme park so you’re gonna spend money but for anyone who likes legos this is a place your little need to visit!

VIP Factory Tour is THE BEST!

By Terrence B |

We always enjoy our trips to Legoland California, but we'd especially like to recommend the VIP Factory Tour with Renate! She's a treasure trove of historical Lego knowledge and makes everyone feel so special. Learn how bricks are made, and maybe even make your own brick! You'll see all sorts of special builds you won't find anywhere else in the park! Truly special adventure.

Everything is Awesome at Legoland Terri Rules

By Jennie H |

Myself and my two kids age 7 & 9 did the Ultimate Plus VIP tour, with Terri. It was a blast!! She had us laughing and having so much fun!! We rode every ride, covered the whole park, and ate so much good food too! It was totally worth it!! Do the VIP Experience and request Terri she is so amazing!!! We've done VIP tours with universal and Disney but it didn't compare to the Legoland tour experience with Terri. My kids loved it and never any tears just the happiest day!!! Getting to eat anything you wanted was fun for all of us too!!

Great for the kids

By Daydream44182578097 |

Kids absolutely loved the hotel and the entire experience, the swimming pool, story time at the pirate boat, scavenger hunt, disco room, and bricks for breakfast. Only hiccup was dirty bed sheets on the first night, we didn’t see the kids sheets were dirty until trying to put them to bed, at least they were responsive and replaced quickly. Also, they changed their policy on replenishing the treasure chest on multi night stays.

Loved it, again😂.

By Joshua H |

This was our second trip to Lego Land. We took 3 kids ages 5 to 10 and all loved it. Highly recommend it for probably 15 and under.

By Traveler53529461539 |

Weekend trip, 1st time at legoland and my 4 year old loved it. We went two days with the oark hopper tickets! Only a few rides my 4 yr old couldn't get on because of height regulations. But glad to be at an attraction that is totally geard for children. Weather was amazing, we stayed only about 6 min away from the theme park .. Wish there were a few more rides but over all we had a great time and would love to come back and experience the in site hotel

We spent 3 unforgettable days at LEGOLAND Hotel and Park for my son's 10th birthday with our boys

By Setegn M |

We just spent 3 amazing days at LEGOLAND Hotel and Theme Park to celebrate my son’s 10th birthday — and it was perfect! I went with my three boys (ages 5, 8, and 10) and my partner, and we all had an incredible time.

The hotel was fun, colorful, and full of LEGO magic — themed rooms, treasure hunts, and great entertainment every night. The birthday surprises made it extra special for my 10-year-old!

The park was perfect for all three boys — age-appropriate rides, water play areas, and so many interactive LEGO zones. Everything was clean, well-organized, and staff were super friendly.

Booking the hotel + ticket bundle made everything smooth and worth every penny. We made memories that will last forever. Highly recommend for families!

By Steven B |

The attractions were fun, safe , clean well kept up. The people working were wonderfully cheerful and helpful . Only draw back was food choices for allergies and diet restrictions but everything else was well thought out

Best weekend ever!

By Steve .R |

Wow. We’re taking a tour of theme parks in Legoland is a very very good one. If you’re in Southern California, you gotta stop by especially because kids are free. But we were really wowed by a group that call themselves the playmakers. One of them is named J and she was running a Dungeons & Dragons like game that we played for like 30 minutes and absolutely loved it. Ended up coming home with a special plastic button. And then we did trading of the figures with this guy in a hat named Corin. Both of them were so friendly and engaging for my kids. And I got three of them so that’s quite the ability! We came to Legoland years ago, but they’ve updated a lot since then and they’re currently updating. Legoland is definitely competing up there in the big leagues.

Amazing Experience

By Mende B |

The park staff is incredible, and the wait times were exceptional. There are a variety of attractions that make it fun for little ones as well as older children. I highly recommend taking a trip
To LEGOLAND. We are so glad we did.

Legoland 2025

By Scott |

Let me start by stating that Legoland California is an amazing place for fans of Lego, both young and old! We spent 2 days at the themepark and would go back again in a heartbeat. The staff is courteous, the park is clean and the rides are an absolute blast. Now if you have someone in your group that is a true fan of Lego, I highly suggest booking the VIP experience and asking for Renate. There are some people in life that embody what it is to love what you do, and that is to a T who Renate is. On the factory tour she will show you the process of how Lego is made and take you to areas of the factory that only she has access to. I don't want to spoil all the magic Renate brings to every person who takes her tour, but you will leave with a deeper love and appreciation of Lego and memories that will last a lifetime!

Saturday in the summer at Legoland

By Ali T |

Very busy on a Saturday, there were so many kids in the build a racecar that you couldn't build one. A suggestion would be to limit the amount of people at a time. The app was useful for waitimes for rides and I enjoyed the GPS mapping feature. The drivers license used to be included after you rode the cars, it was $26 this time. We ate pizza for lunch it was good and the size was acceptable. One thing I noticed was that if you bought the pass to get on the rides faster, the crew got everyone on the rides on the next departure. There was not an additional wait time. The crews also left half the seats for thoes riders, from what I saw. If you have the money and don't want to wait, that would be a way to ride everything Legoland offers. It was a good move for Legoland, you pay for parking, you pay for admission and if you don't want to wait, you can pay to skip the line. Overall we had a good time, we stayed for about 6 hours.

Family getaway

By Silver L |

It was great during June 20 25 there wasn't a lot of people so it was great to enjoy the family. Legoland California hotel was top-notch. Food was great.

Key Quest

By Melina K |

The kids loved finding all the keys! And they were really excited to get their prize! They put their pins on right away! We loved it!

Rides and wait time was good but needs improvement on the pop badge experience and staff

By Edgar B |

The kids were happy trying to collect pop badges yet whenever they went to ask and try to get some staff members act like they did not have any or refused to give any ones they had on top of having rides closed that really made our experience bad

Fun times with great people at Legoland California

By D P |

Fantastic time had at the park. Shout outs to VIP hosts Susan and Terri, they are so welcoming, warm and friendly when we bump into them. Also a big thanks to Jamal whom is always friendly and chatty with the kids. He carries his iconic Lego sword and does mini figure trading with such enthusiasm it is great to see.

Highly recommend heading to Legoland for the family fun. Our family are big fans and we are most grateful that you have such great staff members.

Bad guest service

By Janet P |

I got an annual pass online. They sent it online and I thought that was it. I tried scanning it to get my free parking it got denied. So I paid for parking because when I called from the parking payment it was busy. We go to the guest service and I explain to a cast member and she did not have any empathy. She just told me oh you didn't register it. So I asked her how to do that. She was not helpful and she said no to refund my parking. To register my passes was not easy. I had 3 so had to copy and paste and was not convenient. Around 4pm we go to eat at Knights Smokehouse. This was my first time having an annual pass so forgot to say I have a pass to get discount on the food. When I remembered, I already paid but still in the register. So I told the cashier Jasmine that I have a pass. She looked annoyed at me that she had to get a manager to refund my whole order. The manager came over and not even say anything voided my order and ring it up again with my discount. So I ask Jasmine and the other cashier that was there. Do you guys ask if a guest have an annual pass or a guest have to tell you guys? They both said both. After that I heard the other cashier ask a guest if she had a pass. I was not happy how Jasmine reacted to the situation. No good guest service and this was my first day having an annual pass. Im starting to regret purchasing a pass. I paid a lot for. We got the Elite annual pass(3)

Paid full price for very limited experience

By Leo F |

We took our daughter on Christmas Eve and she was so excited to go. Unfortunately, it was raining and all but a couple attractions were closed. While we were offered the “rainy day promise” (a chance to return within the year) we do not live locally and it would involve a lot of additional travel expenses to plan a visit again. I would have preferred a partial refund fo the underwhelming and very limited experience.

By TreasureKingdom |

The hotel cannot be contact by phone only text. Not connivence when coming to questions. Check in time wasn’t at 4pm. My room wasn’t available until or after 5:30pm. Meanwhile they will charge for any hours for early check in or late check out.

Our room was set for “no service”. We went out and later when came back, it has birthday blanket and some birthday gifts set that we didn’t ordered. We feel like our privacy got invaded.

Breakfast included but first time to a hotel that I need to reserve for Breakfast that included from hotel. Staffs are pleasant and food is ok.

The rides from Legoland are pretty boring, but maybe because I’m an adults. Kids like them. They like disco elevator, bunk beds, and treasure hunts. They like the Lego that available inside our room, and the Lego in the lobby.

Up and Downs at Legoland

By Sarah K |

We went to Legoland for a mother-son trip. My son is very much a Lego enthusiast, and we were beyond excited. We booked 2 nights in a deluxe room at the Castle hotel. We received a 2 day kids pass with our hotel booking, and I booked my passes with my workplace. To enhance our experience I purchased the reserve and ride passes for both days.

However, there were things in the trip that caused inconveniences. The first: my son’s ticket—the one that was emailed to us directly from Legoland resorts—wouldn’t scan at the Legoland entrance. (Oddly, my ticket that I received through a third party worked just fine.) We had to go over to guest services to have a ticket printed, then go back to the entrance. This happened both days. So, we went through 3 lines just to get into the park. Even though you go to guest services to have it fixed, you have to go back to the entrance, which doesn’t make any sense. I told the lady this at guest services, and she listened and stamped our arms for direct entry, but we still had to wait in line to have the stamp checked. Ugh.

When we received notice that our hotel room was ready, we decided to take a little break from the park and check in. We went to the kiosk and did the digital check in, which was super easy and convenient, but when we got to our room, a hotel staff member was still cleaning it, and she said it wouldn’t be ready for a while. She notified her supervisor, who spoke to us for a moment then…disappeared? I seriously have no idea what that was about. So I went to the lobby and the lady at the desk helped us out and apologized for the inconvenience.

As for the reserve and ride: VERY hit and miss. On some rides it cuts the wait time down greatly, but on others it’s just not really worth it. The Coastersaurus ride was cool and fun, but still about a 25 min wait with the reserve and ride. Even worse with Emmet’s Flying Adventure, we wanted another 30 at least. Oh well.

And lastly, the food at the Dragon’s Den left a lot to be desired. We ordered the pizza kids lunch for my son and a Caesar salad with chicken and truffle fries. None of the food tasted good. The fries were overly salted, the romaine on the salad was all leaf and not cut, i.e. the size of my hand. The chicken portion was small and didn’t taste good, but it cost me an extra $7 and something cents.

The good news is, my son absolutely loved his time at Legoland. He loved the rides, he loved the hotel, the play grounds, the pool, the many awesome displays, and the stores with all the sets (we picked up a couple). The mini scavenger hunt at the hotel with the safe was really fun and cute, and perfectly age appropriate. And the bunk bed room was such a cool space for him to play.

Seriously, the detail that went into building Legoland, including the hotel, is incredible. It is really an experience and sight to behold. I just wish that things hadn’t been needlessly bumpy and inconvenient.

By Erin M |

Best time ever! Super tiring too. My favorite ride was Emmett’s flying adventure. Loved the brick or treat add on! Wonderful visit

Brick or Treat

By Maria Walton |

The entire park experience was incredible! The staff are friendly and helpful with the little ones. The rides, exciting! The Pasta restaurant, delicious! The displays of the cities, remarkable.

Family fun

By Navigate213386 |

Had a wonderful day, I took my 7 year old to celebrate his birthday and thought the 17 and 15 year olds were going to be bored, the total opposite they also had a blast. Our family made good memories, we recommend LEGOLAND and will be back.

It was amazing, water park was awesome

By Oliver M |

Everything was awesome!

We enjoyed all the rides and the reserve & ride upgrade was really helpful and made our day more enjoyable.

The water park for our 4yo (42in) was the best part, she could take part in all the water slides. There was one slide where the pole to measure the height was a bit off, it reads 42in but our kid ended up way below the 42in mark which was incorrect since our kid was allowed in all other rides with the same height requirement (she’s 42in). We told them that and they ended up allowing her to go in the water slide, we felt comfortable because we know she is fearless and she know how to swim so I’m glad they’re not extremely strict on that and let her go in the slide even when she was half inch below in some rides and exactly 42 in others.

Everything was awesome!

By P F |

Exceptional experience with VIP tour. Great fun with trivia and conversation with Renate about Legoland history. All staff was super, and everything was awesome! :)

Overpriced, logistical problems, not worth it

By Frances G |

The parking was hard to find. There was no signage in the area to help direct visitors. I tried using the app to ask for information on how to enter the parking lot but there was no help there. Stupid AI gave completely useless answers and there of course was no one to call.
Also, within the park itself there was no signage on how to get to the rides and the map they provided was completely useless.
The food was terrible and everything was ridiculously expensive.
All in all I do not recommend it. In terms of value for the price, not worth it.

Everything is awesome

By Trisha H |

Everything is awesome. Be aware this is a completely cashless adventure. Our family had an amazing time. The hotel staff are amazing.

Nice time with family with some caveats

By Chung C |

We had a good time. We took our 10 yo daughter, and she was interested in about half of the rides. Many were suited for smaller children. I would say that LEGOLAND is ideal for the 5-8 year age range. Wait times were not bad for most of them; it was only bad for Ninjago. We got to it less than 20 minutes after the park opened, and still we waited for an hour (despite the app saying the estimated wait time was 5 minutes when we got there). Knowing what the ride is like now, I would have waited 25 minutes max. Even after we left, when the line was 3x longer, estimated wait time was 35 minutes. So word of warning: do NOT rely on this data.

Grandkids to Legoland.

By Tom R |

Children liked the BADGES. Could of done a better Job explaining the park entry for hotel guests!!! Saturday was great, Sunday was a disaster as to what time and what rides were open early. The Legoland Hotel said opening was 9:15 for Sunday, it was 9:30. Fix this for other people. Everyone in line had same issue!!!!

Amazing Staff Make LEGOland Great!

By Joy M |

Our kids love LEGOland California, especially all the Model Citizens (employees) like Jamal, Jay, Barach, and Megan who are friendly, fun, and do a great job connecting over their passion for LEGO and all the lore involved.

Even though we live in Seattle, we try to make it down to visit a couple times a year to enjoy a family trip, soak up the sun, and experience what LEGOLand has to offer!

The Legoland VIP Tour is a once in a lifetime experience

By David W |

This year we decided to get season passes for Legoland, and for our last trip we booked the VIP Tour with Renate. It was truly one of the most memorable amusement park visits we’ve ever had, and Renate is one of the most genuine and caring people one could meet.

Her enthusiasm for Lego was contagious, and it would be hard to picture someone with more knowledge and experience than her on the topic as well. She started at Legoland before it even opened as an amusement park (evidently one of the food venues initially opened to the public before the whole park did). The family of the original inventor still keeps touch with her as she is an amazing resource of knowledge, and a genuinely amazing person.

Our kids were able to touch and feel Legos in their various stages of development, as Renate walked us through the process. Throughout her workshop there are amazing lego creations and pictures of the many grateful families and various celebrities that have taken the tour. Truly an amazing experience, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Awesome visit

By Courtney B |

We went for my girlfriend’s birthday and had so much fun! We loved collecting the pop badges and got SPACE BABY!! We will go back for Mr Gold.

Ten out of Ten experience!

By Wendy G |

It was our first time visiting, and we truly enjoyed our stay. Everything was so easy—from getting our room key to accessing breakfast and dinner. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights.

Alexis from the Brick Restaurant at the LEGOLAND Hotel was incredibly informative, and her service was outstanding. I would rate the dinner 7/10. I expected the cups to be larger and there to be a wider variety of food options.

We did notice two things that could be improved: Fun Town’s Urban Market didn’t have enough high chairs available—we had a 9-month-old with us and couldn’t find one. Additionally, the adults in our group were hoping the Micheladas included the authentic ingredients.
We also enjoyed the waterpark 10/10 experience!

We’re definitely going back!

Great Day with Family

By Beasley33 |

We visited Legoland Friday for our first time. I was surprised with how clean and well maintained the entire park is kept. Bathrooms were spotless and for a theme park, that's crazy. We were with a five year old little girl and she was so excited to check out each ride and playground area. It was fun to see it all through her eyes.

By Ann |

We are the grandparents. Didn’t know what to expect but WOW did we all have fun. Legoland (not the water park) exceeded our expectations. The granddaughters were 42 and 48 inches and they got to ride everything! The rollercoasters were phenomenal! These are NOT your typical carnival coasters, they are bigger and much more exciting for the little ones, and me too! Be sure to buy a “reserved” fast pass. Completely worth it. It saved us a LOT of time! We only reserved day one and not day two and it was a good choice. The Ninjago ride was super fun. If we do it again, I will start counter clockwise into the park instead of clockwise. Each area around had super fun activities and rides! The second day was the waterpark. The water park was an BUST. Too many people and mainly splash pads. Definitely NOT worth it. But we just went back to our pool at Legoland Castle and had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend Legoland for Kinders and 1st graders!

Needs to get more value

By Scott S |

Ive been to legoland handful of times but this was probably the least fun. Many rides/attractions were closed as well as the pool closing way earlier than normal. Spent a good amount of money for a lesser experience and had I been informed ahead of time, might have changed

Best Staff

By brittanybritts |

Loved the experience!!! Legoland has thr best and nicest staff!!! They are all so sweet and helpful! There were multiple staff, I honestly can say that there wasn't one bad staff interaction. I wish I could remember a their names, Jamel, Renate, or think Becky ( who is a teacher on the the coast cruise, she was hilarious), and everyone we asked for a badge.

Legoland 10/10 recommend

By Matthew C |

I had an amazing time staff were respectful and understanding and the place was very clean rides were fun the place was amazing 10/10

Loved by all-young and old but young at hear!

By foodnut003 |

This was an awesome place to visit-for grandkids up to grandparents. The rides were great-we could actually do 'family rides' where we all enjoyed it together. Customer service was great, whether staff at exhibits like the dinosaur dig, ride staff, food service staff or ticketing. All knew their jobs and how to make the experience great for everyone. We really enjoyed the food at the market-while some got salads and chicken nuggets, others were able to get curry and steak sandwiches. No waiting in long lines for rides or food, although we did go towards the end of summer in August. Loved by all!

10/10

By Natalie T |

We had an amazing experience with the Ultimate VIP passes. So many rides for toddlers and the adults had just as much fun in the park. Will definitely return!!

By Dogsmom |

LEGOLAND is definitely best place for kids and young adult like me who liked Lego!
I went there by myself without kids and some of my friends said they wouldn’t let you go in if you didn’t have kid with you so I guess that wasn’t true then because I bought the ticket and walked in just fine! I really enjoyed the park and amazed how that little tiny plastic piece put it together and created such an awesome things! I definitely recommend to visit this place if you have kids and loved Lego!

By simhornby |

Fantastic family day at Legoland theme park. The rides are ideally suited to kids under 10 but also kept us adults entertained. The was a huge selection of rides and the reserve and ride function was incredible, saving us lots of queuing time - highly recommended to purchase this. Good selection of food and beverage areas.
Only downside was lack of good quality coffee.

Great fun times!

By Cassandra R |

We had a great time for visiting for the first time. Only like 2 rides had long wait times, the rest weren't bad and we went right in! Staff was nice and facilites were clean! It was cute to see the park all decorated for Halloween and loved that they hand out GOOD candy and you can wear costumes! 👍🏽 Last, can't forget they serve adult drinks 😁 ....IYKYK! 🍺🍷

Everything was Awesome

By Trisha H |

Awesome amazing time for the whole family. We loved the Resort and all things for kids to enjoy. The sea life aquarium was amazing. We celebrated our son's 9th birthday.

Great Experience, a lot of new activities from my previous visit years ago.

By Inspiration782298 |

Overall, the experience was good. The accommodations provided were very helpful for people with accessibility challenges. Food options were good, and rides available for both of my children, age 4 and age 12 were enjoyable.

Nice Surprise Trip

By Tony H |

It was a great day! Took our son and he got to get on the Rollercoasters, like a big boy! Lines were long but OK, manageable.

By Andrea P |

We really enjoyed Legoland.
This was really fun for my Grandson. What a great place to visit! I can’t wait to visit Legoland again!

Park is great for littles

By Gaby D |

A friend and I took our two six-year-old girls for a two-day trip to Legoland. On day one, we planned for the water park, half of which (Chima) was closed. The water park was packed; it was difficult to find seating, and lines for the slides were quite long. On our way out for the day, we did a few rides (these lines were much more reasonable). On day two, we entered the park early as we had been in the hotel. We were able to go on SO MANY rides. Before 11 a.m., we had already ridden five rides. Lines were generally fast when compared to other theme parks, but certain rides/attractions were closed or opened later in the day. At the end of the day, despite attractions being closed, we were able to do so much and the girls had fun.
This park is great for 5-9-year-olds; I’m not sure how much older children would actually enjoy what’s offered.

Amazing!!! The best park

By DayTrip646731 |

It's amazing!!! The best park we have visited!!!! has everything, technology, didactic, fun, to the extreme, etc. The app is great. Enough restaurants and markets.
We visited him as a family, two children, a 6 year old and a 4 year old, the 4 year old was able to get into most of the games. I assure you that you will have a great time!!!

By Amy T |

I went with my boyfriend since I’ve never been to Legoland. It was fun. Lots of families and strollers as expected. The waiting for the rides wasn’t that bad. There were food stalls that were not open e. ninja Kitchen however we were able to get Granny Apple Fries and BBQ ribs. I was also able to buy a Lego gift that was exclusive only to Legoland. I don’t know if I’d go back again but I would recommend it to others that’s never been.

Beware

By Madelyn B |

I took my grandson to Legoland for his 9th birthday. Overall, he had a good time and people in the park were courteous. I noticed that a lot of the exhibits were sun faded and need to be brought up to standard. I ended the day by letting him puck out a Lego set at the gift shop. He picked a race car. I paid an we then left the park to drive home 40 miles away. When we got home, he attempted to build the race car and several of the pieces were defective. I called Lego land and the rep said to take a picture of the box and method I paid and contact experience@legoland. I did so and they replied and said they wouldn't return my money ( credit my credit card) and to send the pieces to Lego. I feel that if a retailer ( legoland gift shop) sells defective toys I should be able to return them without jumping through hoops. I also have original receipt. Very very disappointed. I spent hundreds of dollars that day.

Best vacation ever

We won tickets from 105.7 The Bear, bought more, messed that up, called & was able to correct it easily & make it into a 4 day visit. 1st the park was CLEAN & well taken care of staff are everywhere & friendly & attentive. The food was awesome at the Pizza & pasta buffet. We thought it closed early until we were there & walking tired us all out. Our sunscreen spray didn't work, switched to lotion & spf shirts & worked a lot better & big hats are necessary. Ride wait times are ok, staff is fast & friendly. The bathrooms are always clean & stocked, we greatly appreciate that. Over 4 days the last day we lasted the longest, 10 hrs. The last day we caught the parade & a happy girl offered my daughter into the parade & she got to dance & had a blast, definitely made everyone's day. The water areas have lifeguards that are actually working nonstop & we appreciate that very much. Overall we had an amazing time & made lifetime memory's. We got to see the Ferrari & build one to race. Best trip ever.

Good birthday experience

We enjoyed our trip. My son had a great birthday and enjoyed what Legoland had to offer. His favorite attraction was the ninja playground.

Our first time & we enjoyed ourselves so much! Beautiful views, perfect for younger kids. Bought annual passes! Definitely coming back and worth it!

Legoland Sealife fun

By Nana P |

Our tour guide Murphy was incredible!! She was very knowledgeable and so accommodating of our four year old grandson. We all learned a lot as Murphy shared so much both with the hands on experience as well as her guided tour of the aquarium. Highly recommend!!!

everything was awesome

By Katrina J |

The offer was excellent and the purchase process was easy. It was definitely worth the money. we also stayed at the hotel which made everything a lot more convenient.

Birthday trip

By heidi s |

We were first time visitors and took my baby for his 4th birthday . He loved it ! As first time visitors we were looking to do everything we did the 2 day park hopper for the aquarium.
Personally I thought the aquarium was a little small the experience one they have in Phoenix is much better to me . But other than that LEGOLAND was great ! The wait times weren’t that bad . However the soda machines had no ice and the sodas has no gas

Great

By Bibi Shaniza W |

This was so much fun and wonderful for kids and adults. I wish to see more of this activity around the park. We found 3 colors.

A Fun-Filled Day at Legoland!

Legoland was such a fun experience for the whole family! The rides, shows, and creative Lego displays were amazing. Perfect mix of adventure and imagination—highly recommend for kids and adults alike!

Disappointing Brick or Treat

By Ellen M |

From last year to this, there has been a significant decline in the Halloween experience. There are fewer characters available for Monster Meet & Greets. Not a single employee had a
Halloween -themed or Brick or Treat pop badge to give. There was no employee with a Halloween minifigure to trade. By far, however, the biggest disappointment was the VIM costume contest. My son wore a completely homemade Cookie Monster costume, down to the eyes. We worked on it for weeks, specifically for this event. Dozens of people commented on my son's costume as we walked through the park. It was totally unique. He didn't win. I could understand if the costume (s) that did win were superior but that wasn't the case. How your judges came to their decision is beyond comprehension. Lest anyone think I'm simply a mom who is just disappointed her child didn't win, that isn't the case. He handled his disappointment with grace, but the arbitrary nature of the judging put a damper on the entire weekend. It's almost like the last contest of the afternoon was rushed & meaningless to the staff, but it definitely wasn't for my son.

By Yeraldi A |

We stayed at The Castle Hotel. The hotel room was clean and spacious. The only thing i will say, is that i really wish that since we stayed in the park hotel, i was hoping we had a separate entrance and didn't have to make that long line to access the park, but we didn't. We still had to wait in the long line. The water park was okay, wished they had more attractions. Now for the Legoland theme park. The park was fun, but based on MY experience I wish they had more attractions for older kids. I have a 5 year old and a 10 year old. My 5 year old enjoyed the park more than my 10 year old did. My 10 year old was hoping for more roller-coasters. The staff in the parks, the hotels, and dining...were extremely amazing! Over all, I did enjoyed my stay. I hope we can visit again soon.

highly recommend doing the VIP experiecne

By Candis H |

We did the VIP experience, and it was amazing and worth every cent. It made the day so much more enjoyable, and getting to the front of the line for every ride, plus the opportunity to ride them twice in a row, was an amazing bonus for our children. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

By Angela V |

Thsi was our second time. It’s always great for all ages everyone loved it! Characters are so interactive and friendly.

Amazing 2 days - highly recommend!

By Heather C |

We loved Legoland. Rides are excellent for tweens and younger, great waterpark experience - lots of excellent lifeguards everywhere. Bring your water shoes and goggles. The aquarium was marvelous!!! Overall impressive. For our 10 year old the drivers license area was disappointing because of all the raised expectations thru the advertising hype… just a cute little ride. Maybe it would be thrilling for a younger child.

I loved the parade and positivity at the park. Great dancers. It was fun to be there. They have sensory guides posted for all rides which could be helpful for some.

We did the 2 day pass with everything.
Some negatives: their fast lines can just load immediately without regard for the others waiting. The parade blocks the park exit, so if you can’t get out before the parade, then just wait and enjoy it.

We did Monday/Tuesday and the second day was lighter and easier to do rides. The app was not always accurate, but helpful in getting to the hard to find pockets in the park.

My trip

By Kevin T |

We had a great time. We got a 2 day pass with both water park and aquarium. Park had a good layout that accommodated my older and younger kids in the same areas. Food was a little pricy but not unexpected or higher than other theme parks. App was useful for checking ride times and getting better descriptions. The aquarium had everything you want in a good size facility, had a good layout with lots of interaction. Water park was good size, general chairs were snapped up quickly, and shady spots were limited. Lazy river had a really long line. The whole experience was enjoyable for both kids and adults.

Great experience!

By Bonita F |

Short lines for rides, great food options, friendly staff, maps available to navigate through park. Excellent parking options and proximity to park entrance. Clean park!

By Marco R |

My kids loved it. We were there from opening to close. Definitely will visit again. Bring towels and sun block. Buy the fast pass for the rides, trust me.

Not the best experience for the price I paid.

By cristina G |

I was really sad to see that there was not a lot of rides and some rides were closed. I feel like there was more walking on unused space than the rides themselves. The food stands were terrible. I ate at the bbq place and had a turkey leg with corn and something else. The turkey leg was a bit sour, burned on the outside and super dry on the inside. It wasn’t edible/! The prices for food are outrageous.

Lot of Fun

By Renee P |

My kiddos really enjoyed staying at the hotel, treasure hunt, attending all of the parks and kid activities like dance party, movie in the courtyard of the hotel. Hotel staff was amazing

Loved the decor, but hated the customer service.

By Vanessa L |

Great decor, no clear direction and horrible customer service. We were also double charged for parking without notice after we left! The check in, reception, and room service experience were basically non existent, it was a very chaotic experience for any request or question.

The best day

By Ashley |

Such a great time! All the staff are so friendly and kind to the children. It’s truly tailored for children and that made the experience so much easier and better! We are definitely going back!

All excellent

By Daniela Z |

The best park to go with little kids, I took 3 kids (7, 4 and 11⁄2) all could walk in most attractions.

We will definitely be back soon 👏🏻

Fun day at Legoland CA

By annini13 |

Legoland CA was wonderful. My favorite ride was Emmetts Flying Adventure. So cool with the movement of the seat and the sprinkles of water! I feel the part is geared more for little kids but my kids, 10 and 13, and I had a great time!

By José D |

Good overall experience, I like the cleanliness security and attractions. I touch it was brick or treat season, they gave sweets to the kids

First but not the last time we go!

By Daniel M |

I honestly had a lot of fun with my son, I took him for his 7th birthday and we had both never been there so we didn’t know what to expect. But we had a blast and my son really wants to go back and check out your water park. I just gotta see how the prices look because we live a little far but overall we had a great time!!

We got to play DND! We love rolling dice!

By Kyle C |

The Ninjago DnD was a blast!! It was a great way to pass some time while waiting for our reserve a ride. And we got some cool Pop badges

The park was fun

By Paulette J |

The park was great took my two grand babies was sad that one of the employees did not allow my grandson who autism loves to play with legos was told he could not build the legos. Send him to me crying. This very disappointing.

Best 1st visit

By Mari H |

We had a blast, the hotel was amazing fast and quick responses to all our needs ! The kids loved all the activities at the hotel and the park ! It was clean and just a pleasant stay ! The price was reasonable for all that we got ! Only thing I’d want to recommend is the time the park closed it was to early but we did finish everything we wanted to do ! We didn’t eat at the park food was over priced 15 for a kids meal at one spot but all around the Legoland grounds you have great options to eat out for a good price with kiddos ! We can’t wait to return!

The best trip!

By Isiris M |

What stood out the most about my visit was the short lines. My kids were able to get on almost all the rides. They loved this trip and said it was the most fun trip they've had!

By Yana C |

A great deal. Super easy. The tix are emailed to you the day before. Just go to the gate and get scanned in. The savings are amazing!!

Best place ever!

By Dorian M |

We couldn’t go to the hotel because it is TO expensive, but this was a great experience! The rides were amazing, best day ever

Awesome day at the park

By Shanker B |

we were a family of 4. My wife and I and our 2 kids - Son 14 and Daughter 7. We reached there around 10:10 AM - the park was open. There is a traffic bottleneck at the entrance to allow cars in. We had purchased Preferred Parking before hand so we were able to park close to the entrance.
we entered and started exploring. While it is expensive, we had the Reserve and Ride Ultimate for all 4 of us. And on a bustling saturday - it was an amazing value. We were able to do ALL the rides in the park with practically very minimal waiting (no more than 5 minutes) due to the Reserve and ride. Both my kids loved the park. My son loved the Coasters and my daughter loved the 3 d rides and all the kiddie rides. The 4 D movies are super fun and a great way to give your legs some rest - we saw 2 movies. we also spent about 30 minutes building our own lego master pieces. We were there from 10:15 AM till the time the park closed to watch the fireworks finale. Just an amazing day of building memories at the park.

A Day of Pure Fun and Nostalgia at LEGOLAND California

By Edward B |

I recently visited LEGOLAND California with a group of close friends, and I have to say, it turned out to be one of the most fun and carefree days I’ve had in a long time. I grew up in San Francisco, and now I live in New York, so making it out to the West Coast again always brings a wave of nostalgia. Visiting LEGOLAND wasn’t something I originally had on my bucket list, but my friends convinced me, and honestly, I’m so glad they did.
The moment we walked in, I felt like a kid again. Everything is colorful, vibrant, and meticulously built from LEGO-from the giant sculptures to the tiny details that you only notice when you slow down and look around. I was especially impressed by Miniland USA. Seeing famous landmarks recreated with such accuracy and creativity was mind-blowing. It sparked a mix of amazement and a weird pride in how something as simple as LEGO bricks could create such artistry.
The rides were surprisingly enjoyable too. We didn’t expect them to be thrilling since LEGOLAND is usually geared toward families with kids, but we had a blast. The Dragon roller coaster gave just the right mix of fun and excitement, and the water rides were a perfect way to cool off in the California sun.
We also grabbed some food inside the park, and while theme park food isn’t usually something to rave about, I actually enjoyed it. The portions were generous, and it kept us fueled for the entire day.
What I loved most, though, was the atmosphere. Everyone around us-families, kids, couples, groups of friends-just seemed genuinely happy. It felt like a place where you could forget about everyday stress and just enjoy the moment.
I’d recommend LEGOLAND California not only for families with kids but also for adults who want a day of lighthearted fun. It’s a reminder that play and imagination don’t have an age limit. For me, it was a five-star experience, and I’d happily go back next time I’m visiting the West Coast.

By Sam M |

We just returned from an awesome trip to Legoland with our five-year-old daughter, and it was one of our best family outings! The park is perfect for young kids, with great rides and amazing Lego builds. Our daughter loved every moment, especially the age-appropriate attractions.

The staff were friendly, and the family dining options were a nice touch. We can't wait to go back for more fun!

Fun time with family.

By wlklaproth |

Overall good experience with two small ones and the family. Good value for the attractions and rides. Fun time. Some of the Lego displays are faded and could us some refresh. Would recommend

Enjoyed every moment !!

By Lupe V |

This was a family vacation. We enjoyed every moment. The food was great. The weather was perfect. We explored the water park on our first day, the second day we experienced the Legoland park. Both parks were fun, we had a good time!

By John L |

First time. Fantastic place for kid. It wasn’t overwhelming and sensory overload like Disney.

I do find the lack of staff helping with parking and through out the park as something that can be improved.

Additionally the park does not have enough shady spots which makes the afternoon heat a challenge.

Overall really great place and my kid and family really had a great time.

Perfect Family Park & Hotel

By Chris M |

Truly a top tier amusement park for kids. Food is good nothing bad to say about it . Staff were all amazing and treated the kids great! A great well rounded place .

Best Visit Ever

By Nataleen S |

I loved Legoland and I still do. Food was yummy, band was good, rides were amazing, playgrounds and games were awesome, and staff were super friendly. I rate my visit 5 stars. (excluding the band's noise level.) And I even got a coin from that spinning machine thing! Best visit ever.

Very expensive, but fun

By Sa E |

We came to the Legoland park for our first family vacation. None of us had been to the park before. It was far more expensive than I had expected, but there was so much for my daughter (5 1/2) to enjoy, including roller coasters for kids! The caricaturists are students, but very talented. The staff we met were all very kind. There were hydration stations throughout the park, which was wonderful in the heat! The park's hours are a little short, but they have this dance party for the kids on the way out to "get the wiggles out," which was really cute. I would definitely take her again, but I'll have to budget a lot more money. (Lunch alone was over $70 for two adults and one child!)

It was so great for even our older kids.

By denise m |

Everyone was so kind! Especially Mario Megan! He added to our fun experience! We asked him about secret prizes and he helped us find more secrets!

Nice Experience

By Gregory U |

Nice park with family atmosphere. It continues to grow and improve the experience through its rides and exhibits. It was fairly easy to see everything in a day. Discounted tickets through Bank of America Rewards was the best deal.

Pop badge Challenge

By Lea G |

We love Legoland! My daughter loves collecting pop badges. We always have the best time! Her favorite attractions are the different playgrounds all over the park, and building legos. Summertime, it’s the water park. Highly recommend all my friends to get annual pass for play dates.

Not ideal for solo parent with 2 kids

By Alana C |

Fun but not ideal for solo parent with 2 kids under 48 inches. A lot of rides cannot accommodate 1 adult with 2 children so we had to skip a lot

Best time ever at Legoland California

By Cliffton F |

Legoland is an amazing place to bring the kids you will have an unforgettable time . The lines are short the food is the Chef’s kiss and you can play with all the Lego your heart can handle . I highly recommend Legoland California .

By Kassandra C |

This trip was absolutely worth it—especially if you have little ones. My baby (almost 2) had a blast, especially in the water park area! My older two (ages 7 and 8) loved it too. We stayed at the Legoland Hotel, and it was a total hit with the kids. They had a blast riding the elevators with disco lights and music, and even got a kick out of the whoopee cushions in the hallways.
The hotel rooms were clean and fun—nothing fancy, but perfect for a family stay. Honestly, I think Legoland is better than Disney for young kids. I’ve been to Disney, but Legoland felt more affordable, less overwhelming, and had so much more for the little ones to actually do.
We’ll definitely be going back! I recommend staying at least two nights to really enjoy everything without rushing. Next time, we’re planning to stay three days just to take it all in at a more relaxed pace.
I spent around $3,500, but that included lots of extras like toys and souvenirs. It could definitely be done for less, but seeing my kids so happy made it all worth it.
Staff were generally awesome—though I did notice a few waitstaff in the dining area with less-than-friendly expressions, which was a small downside in an otherwise great experience.
Highly recommend for families!

Wish it was better

By Mo L |

50% of the rides were closed for the first hour. No explanation for a lot of the closures. This is significant because the park hours are 10 am to 5 pm.
Getting on some of the rides ( cargo ace, flying adventure and unikitty's disco drop) were slow and inefficient on the worker's part, making wait times longer than they need to be for carnival type rides.
My kids really liked outdoor jungle gyms (hideaways and Benny's playship), but not worth a $74 admission ticket.
The brisket was delicious at Knight's smoke house bbq.
My kids didn't like the famous apple fries, which is more of a preference, I know. If your kids are expecting apple flavored churro, they will be disappointed because it's somewhat sour. lol. Won't be coming back for awhile, if at all.

By Benjamin H |

We visited LEGOLAND this past Saturday to celebrate our son’s second birthday, and it was a truly magical experience from start to finish. Even at just two years old, he was completely captivated—there was so much to see, explore, and enjoy at his pace.

The staff were kind and patient, and the park was incredibly family-friendly with plenty of toddler-appropriate rides and play areas. DUPLO Playtown was a huge hit, and he loved seeing all the LEGO figures come to life throughout the park.

As parents, we really appreciated how clean and organized everything was. It made the day feel relaxed, even with a little one in tow. We’re already talking about coming back when he’s a bit older to experience even more. Thank you, LEGOLAND, for making our son’s birthday so special!

Fun for a couple hours, not worth spending an entire day for the price you pay.

By Paradise51993265584 |

The experience was okay. On a busy day, it was very difficult to find attractions that entertained the whole family unless you had the premium ticket experience that has short wait times. The park was full of fun playgrounds for kids, but for the price of admission it isn't worth going if they're only going for the playgrounds.

We had a great time playing a game with Jay! Thank you for giving the kids so much attention and making the day so special. People like Jay make Legoland our happy place.

Caters to a variety of ages and those with sensory sensitivities!

By j c |

I've put off theme parks for years, my 10yr old is Autistic therefore I'm cautious about overwhelming situations. I now have a 4yr old that loves Legos and thought he'd be amazed by this park. I was shocked at how well my 10yr old did(and my 4yr old was indeed amazed by the park)! Right away my son pointed out to me that there were signs showing levels of different sensory situations he may not like, that small simple gesture to have was majorly huge for us. He was able to decide for himself if was willing to try something out or skip to the next.
He also made a new friend in staff member Frankie, Frankie was patient with me while I waited for my husband to bring my wallet and pay for our sons driver's license at drive school. We bumped into Frankie again the following day at deep sea adventure and he addressed my son by his name! My son was so excited that Frankie had remembered his name! The park was so clean and everyone was friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was amazing and had soooo much food options for everyone! Empty items where replaced super fast .Only thing I wasn't prepared for was the way the Early access to the park works, I probably should have looked into it more but we got the park at 9:15, gates opened at 9:30 but only the coaster ride was open which my son can't do so we waited till 10 along with general admission lines to get to the places he wanted. Still, worth every penny!

Always satisfied

By Fabiola L |

Always a great time. Plenty of interactive play structures, Lego building stations and rides of course! My children (6&8) thoroughly enjoyed their visit again, we were there last year also! We stayed for the fireworks, pedestrian crowds didn’t really let the vehicles move out of the parking lot but that’s a minor item that can be improved.

the great Lego race

A great Lego game experience!! He was so kind and patient with my nieces and overall made it a great experience! I highly recommend this experience!

Great customer service

By Departure67982613214 |

We went to the park for our first time and it ended up raining throughout most of the day, so a lot of the rides ended up being shut down. One that was not was a train ride where we had the pleasure of meeting Big Mike. He’s was very friendly and made the train ride fun for our little ones. As we were leaving close to closing time we wanted to get one of the souvenir cups but most of the places to get them were closed. The last one opened only had the blue driving cups but we wanted the green movie cup.
Alfredo G went above and beyond trying to find a location to get one from and even ran there and back to do so. I cannot tell you how much such a simple thing made my boys day. These two employees made a nice impact on our first visit and are definitely a reason we will make the 7 hour drive to revisit. Thank you Big Mike and Alfredo G.

Worst experience

By Charlene H |

We were very disappointed and will never go back. We got to Legoland at 10 and gave up by 5 and left. The place was packed, the lines were well over 2 hours for some. While waiting in a 2 hour line I noticed that the staff were not even filling the ride! Several rows left unoccupied while we sat in a line that hardly moved. We got on only 3 rides all day. When we went to get lunch the lines were wrapped around the building and it was chaos inside. No one looked happy to be there and I overheard a lot of people complaining. Legoland does not care and it is so obvious when you’re there. Once you’re in they got your money and now you’re the sucker. I will never go back.

Fantastic

By Darbi I |

Love the trivia during the brick or treat. Wish there was more of this at Legoland. The kids really loved it. Made our day.

Legoland great staff and experience

By Jennifer B |

The staff at Legoland is amazing. We stayed in the hotel, my wife has dietary restrictions and at every restaurant the chef came out to advise her on her best menu options. Even more amazing at the busy morning buffet they made a breakfast just for her.
It rained both days of our visit. The staff at the park remained cheerful & helpful. Also they have a rainy day promise if the weather is bad enough to close parts of the park.
As for the kids: so many places and opportunities for kids to free build, including in what are probably long lines for popular rides.
We are definitely coming back

Good experience, but temper your expectations.

By Ethan Strayer |

We had a good time, park is definitely showing its age, hopefully the new galaxy zone brings some improvements. My kids are at a good age for legoland at 4 yrs.
40$ Parking fee is absolutely ridiculous.

Attention managers and supervisors

By Rose M |

I hope someone reads this: recommendations: restrooms were not maintained. Restrooms smelled like urine, some soap dispensers were out and the trash overflowing. The check off list by employees were not kept up. As for the parks Lego displays, the were not maintained. The Lego’s sculptures were
Faded and dusty which ruined the work of art.

Kid friendly

By Charity N |

We had a great time with our little ones. This park is definitely more kid friendly which made the experience much more fun!

By angelica g |

This place is 100 times better than Disneyland for families with young children. My family collectively has 7 youngsters 8 yrs and younger. We love this theme park way more than any other because of their wide variety of activities. Aquarium ✅ theme park ✅ interactive playgrounds ✅ waterpark ✅ hotels ✅ it literally has it all.

Lasting memories for a 6 and 9 year old.

By FarAway03186801569 |

Took my kids do a 2 day park hopper vacation. It has been many years since we went so weren’t sure what to expect. We opened and closed the park both days! Our kids had a wonderful time and because of that, my wife and I are so glad we chose to bring them here. Park was busy but not so busy that people were banging into each other. Lines were pretty fast even at the most popular attractions. 30 minutes was the longest we waited and it was totally worth it. We are looking into a year pass now 🙂

Misleading Information and Poor Communication Ruined Our Visit

By Heather A |

We experienced a classic bait-and-switch. We booked our hotel stay and park hopper tickets—including access to the main park, the aquarium, and the water park—six months in advance. It was expensive, but we had been to LEGOLAND before and expected another great trip.

Before our visit, I called their customer service line (a recorded line) to confirm that all attractions would be open during our stay. I was told not to worry—everything would be open. We also checked the hours on Google, which listed the water park as open. But when we arrived, it wasn’t open at all.

Despite having paid for full access, we were sold park hopper tickets on days the water park was closed. Guest Services couldn’t help and redirected us to the same generic help line that had already misinformed us. My kids were heartbroken. My son even asked a park employee at the entrance if the water park was open—she said yes. We ran over excitedly, only to find it closed. Cue a second meltdown. How are customers supposed to know what’s open when even employees don’t seem to?

Another frustrating moment: we received an email offering a balcony room upgrade for an extra fee. We accepted, but upon check-in, discovered we were being moved to an entirely different hotel—something we never agreed to. After tracking down someone who could help, they gave us our original room back… but wouldn’t refund the upgrade fee.

Communication throughout was poor. We weren’t given any details about what was included in our stay—not even that breakfast was complimentary. You’re just expected to figure things out on your own.

Claiming to be a destination for vacations and special memories is a big responsibility. Yes, it’s a lot of money—but it was also my child’s birthday. He’ll only turn three once. The way the understaffed team handled everything left a lasting bad impression. After this experience, we’ll likely take our business—and our thousand dollars—elsewhere.

Castle Hotel supercharged our experience

By Stephen H |

Great time visiting Legoland. The Castle hotel supercharged our experience. The hotel is ultra kid focused which actually made a great adult parent experience great because the kids were occupied with the themed room or Lego “lake” in the restaurant. My question is why does no other hotel have anything like this! Park was also great but more on expectation vs castle hotel going way above expectation

Perfect Park!!!

By Vanessa G |

Perfect park for my kids! They are 8, 6 and 4 years old. The youngest is already tall enough for 100% of the rides, my oldest was still super excited with absolutely everything there and my mild child fell in love with legos and enjoyed so much all the playgrounds! It was a Friday of the labor’s day weekend and no crowds! We were able to do almost all the rides.

The park was clean & walkways were clean as well! The lines to rides were really short! The aquarium was so super cute! We loved all the sea animals! My son had a blast celebrating his birthday there!

BED Review

By Moe |

We booked the Ninjago Room, fully themed. The theme was amazing, the figures, and the room extras were good. The only thing I was disappointed about was the beds. The amount of money for the rooms to get spring mattresses that squeak on every movement was disappointing. The bunk beds were not comfy either. Other than that the experience was good, activities, food, park, and customer service.

Fun and Fantastic ❤️

By Barbara Y |

Took a ton of photos and my granddaughter who’s 5 .Loved every minute we were there! I suggest people buy the fast track pass ,It’s so much quicker and keeps the kids from getting cranky ,less time waiting in line !
Mommy,Grandma and Grandpa all had a Fantastic time also

Paola is MAGIC!

By Kimberly N |

5☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

I just had to share how wonderful our experience was at the Dino Roller Coaster in LEGOLAND California thanks to an incredible team member named Paola. She was truly a ray of sunshine! Her positive energy and kind personality made our visit unforgettable.

LEGOLAND has this fun mini-Lego trading activity, and Paola made it extra special for my children. She traded two pieces with them and made the whole moment feel exciting and joyful.

While we were trading, we noticed a few kids nearby who were clearly interested but didn’t have any Legos to participate. I decided to give away my last two pieces to two of the children, but there were three of them. Without hesitation, Paola gave one of her own so all three kids could join in the fun.

That small act of kindness touched my heart. It showed how genuine and caring she is—not just doing a job, but truly spreading kindness and making magic for the kids. LEGOLAND is incredibly lucky to have someone like Paola representing them.

Thank you, Paola, for making our day so special. You made a beautiful memory for us, and we appreciate you more than you know!

Chelsea...Outstanding and Exceptional Service

By Cena A |

The kids had a great time. The problem was when I tried to get anyone's help for my handicapped sister. We entered the park at the far end away from the entrance where they rent the EV's. My sister was doing her best to walk, but it was difficult and painful. I asked three different park employees if there was a way to get a wheelchair brought to her, or anyone on a park scooter (all around us!) to take her to the front to rent the EV. No one could help. Then we came upon Chelsea who was working at the Dive Shop. She quickly assessed the situation and said she would run and get an extra wheelchair that was kept for emergency purposes. She came back with it and even offered to wheel my sister, which I declined. She walked with us to the front so we wouldn't get lost and then she took the chair back with her. Exceptional Service. Kindness and Caring. An employee who wasn't just getting a paycheck but truly cared about the experience of each of their guests. Outstanding! She needs a promotion. I hope she gets it. Good Luck Chelsea....for us, you made our day special.

3rd birthday trip

By Jessica R |

We love Legoland! We live in the bay area and its a bit far but rather go to Legoland then Disneyland any day. The lines are not crazy long and there's something for all ages. We celebrated our son's 3rd birthday this trip (1st timer) and he loved it.

Legoland is wonderful for the younger crowd

By mom1414 |

The park was clean, not overly crowded, and great for the smaller crowd. The water park was well-staffed and offered a variety of slides and a wave pool.

Family had a blast

By justjoggin |

Our family with kids ages 7-12 had a blast. Well thought out theme park. A good mix of big rides, little rides, food options and play structures. Highly recommend the reserve and ride.

Amazing I missed Lego land so much and was happy to come back again

By Andrew E |

Everything there’s not just one thing that makes it special but every part of it you can’t go and not have a good time even with a little child those are where the best memories happen

Not 100% satisfied

By Spencer S |

Not 100% happy but close. Came down for my granddaughter. Only to be denied two rides. We were having a great time until second day to be denied getting on a ride. The attendant denied me access because I had a prosthetic leg(calf down). Kept on making up rules but would not show me in writing. Kinda left a bad taste in my mouth after the second day.

First visit on family vacation

By Nick S |

Me and my family had a great time. Kids ages 13,12,7,5 years old. Had fun for all ages. This park was really good for younger kids. Only two things I wish were better. One was that there were quite a few rides/ attractions shut down during our visit. The second being the hours had changed to 10:30am-4:30pm cutting down the time in the park. We did really enjoy our trip overall. Would probably come back when open longer and less ride construction or maintenance.

Great time but room for improvement

By Rafa M |

Overall it was a great experience for the kids. It’s a very family friendly atmosphere with a lot of different options for all in the family to enjoy.

My one complaint is that on the very first ride we got in line for broke down after we waited for 45 mins in line. We were 5 mins away from being next when we were told to turn around because the ride was closed. I understand things happen, but with little ones it’s hard to recover once that happens. I would have appreciated at least given a voucher for one fast pass or something similar. A free drink or concession stand item. Something to make up for the disappointment of waiting in line for nothing.

It was great

By Dameon N |

Place is great for the family kids 4yrs and up will enjoy themselves, go here! This place has it all you need from water to dry amazing rides

Too many slides closed (wet and dry)

By Suzanne S |

Water park is a skip for sure. There are much better water parks with more to do for toddlers. 1 out of every 3 slides (both water and dry) was closed which was frustrating for our 4 year old. There is only so much kids at that age can do in the park. Overall the park and aquarium were worth it. I would not do the water park again - regardless of child’s age.

Excellent

By Elizabeth G |

Everything was perfect!!!!, the food, the rides for adults and children!!!!! We collected lots of unforgettable
Memories, Thanks!!!! All my family and myself had a lot of fun!!!!❤️

Great for Families with Young Children

By Kevinshah M |

Went here to celebrate my son's fifth birthday. The whole experience was amazing - from the hotel to the theme park, aquarium and water park. Everything seemed to be catered towards families with young children, so it was perfect. We had a great time.

A Magical Family Stay at LEGOLAND!

By Konstantina P |

We absolutely loved our stay at LEGOLAND! From the moment we arrived, everything felt so well organized and thoughtfully designed for families. The idea of having fully themed hotels is amazing — we stayed at the Castle Hotel, but also visited the other hotel in the evenings, and both were fantastic.

The included breakfast was a big highlight for us. It offered so many varieties that everyone found something they loved. Our room was clean, comfortable, and full of fun details that the kids adored.

The park itself was perfect for our 3- and 6-year-olds — there was so much to see and do, and the activities seemed endless. We were also impressed by all the off-hours activities at the hotel, especially the kids' disco, which was a huge hit. We totally loved it!

Overall, it was a magical stay for the whole family, and we can’t wait to come back!

By Angela R |

5 out of 5. Short lines, clean park and friendly staff. We were pleasantly surprised with how efficient everything was. Highly recommends if you have kids 48 inches and 42 inches at least or two parents!

Great Time!

By Virginia B |

Took my son for his birthday and we had a great time! Lines weren't very long and went quicker than we expected! All staff was friendly and all the lego scenes and statues were awesome. We'll definitely go back!

Great first time experience at LL

By Nomad41931935044 |

There was always something to do or see. I would spend two days here if possible. After the visit I was inspired to build Legos and get creative. I wanted to slow down, and appreciate all of the sights in legoland, and also get the most out of my experience. We will return and potentially get a season pass.

Fantastic for young kids, but hidden costs add up fast

By Tourist10989817673 |

What would be the headliner for this review?

Very good fun for ages 3-8 year olds. Many amusement options like kids rollercoaster , junior driver's school (separate for 3yo vs 7yo)

I was unpleasantly surprised with some "surprise fees" and expensive prices. For example, there is no reasonable option other than paying $40 base price for parking. If you want to gamble with fast lanes, good luck + prices vary from $69 to $100+ PER PERSON depending on what option you choose. Was it worth it? It was to us who didn't have to worry about the line apps since it was a quieter day and a discounted ticket. BUT it wouldn't make sense to us if we had to figure out some kind of line skipping upcharge.

This type of stuff should be included in the base price.

$14 individual sized pizza and $6 sodas will not break the bank but make sure you budget for it.

A Brick-Tastic Day for the Whole Family (With Just Enough Chaos to Be Real)

By Naza |

If your kids are obsessed with LEGO, you already know—LEGOLAND is basically their version of paradise. We visited with our two boys, and from the second we stepped in, it was like they had entered a real-life LEGO movie.

The park is perfect for elementary-age kids. There are rides that actually cater to their size (finally!), and the vibe is less adrenaline and more imagination. Our boys loved the Driving School, the submarine adventure, and of course—the mini cities built from LEGOs. I don’t know how many photos I took of LEGO Las Vegas, but it was a lot.

What really impressed me was how clean and well-maintained everything was. The staff was friendly, the lines weren’t outrageous (we went on a weekday), and we even found a few shady spots to cool down—major mom win.

That said, food options were just okay. Standard theme park prices and pretty average quality. I recommend packing snacks and water if you can, or heading out for lunch and coming back if you have the park hopper or stay nearby.

If you’ve got LEGO lovers at home, this is a must-do at least once. It’s charming, creative, and totally kid-focused—in the best way.

Tip: Bring swimsuits for the water park if you're going in warmer months, and don’t skip Miniland. Trust me, the kids might want to rush past it—but you’ll want time to marvel.

Birthday Celebration

It was great and fun experience for our family. Great customer service! We stayed at the Legoland Hotel Pirate Theme it was more than we expected.

LetsGO

By Eli L |

Family worth trip everything was nice and clean. The line for the rides was not that bad mostly 20-30 min wait on the rides.

Needs some work

By Gil C |

Rides to spaced apart. Burning yourself out before seeing the whole park. Cash is king. Staff was very nice and professional. First 2 rides broke for a while but came back on. Rides need to be closer so when one goes down we don’t have to walk a distance for another. Food was good. Drink station good.

The excellent subject

By Víctor M |

Considered personal information missing when checking in. They also wanted to charge me parking without considering n9 was carrying a car.

Go Team at Legoland

Did an awesome trade with Jamal, Steven, and Scotty. They were so outgoing and kind. They had the coolest little mini figures.

Great family fun

By Dream16002271343 |

Great fun for the family. Park was clean. Kids really enjoyed the rides. Diverse options for entertainment. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

VERY DISAPPOINTED

By D B |

Very disappointed. Beside the obvious one (a very high cost) there were numerous issues. First an incredibly long line just to park as patrons had trouble with the parking stations and there were no staff people there to assist. There were at least 5 very popular rides that were closed. No reason given; no advance communication; no discount on price. I understand this can happen to upgrade rides however there are not that many rides to begin with so it was a significant disappointment to the kids. We purchased the reserve and ride ticket. The app to use the feature is very difficult to use and is not intuitive at all. In fact, at several rides other customers were having trouble accessing the app and activating the feature. When inquiring of the staff at the ride they were unable to help and, in fact, complained they were not trained how to access the feature. Overall it was a very bad experience as described above and as local San Diego residents will never return and suggest others plan ahead to see what attractions are open.

By Natalie L |

Came for my grandson's birthday. The whole family had a great time! So much to do. If you can add more vegan food options that would be great! Can't wait to go again!

Legoland a place to enjoy with your family.

By Compass08663348415 |

An excellent place to enjoy with the family, very clean place and you can get on almost all games. it has several activities to perform during the day as well as an area to recharge your drinks throughout the park buying an unlimited glass of refill. which will keep you hydrated throughout the day.

Legoland is cool

By Billy L |

It was a fun event for the family. Everyone had a good time. The lines were not long. The park had enough attractions to make it a full day of fun.

Great family day with our 10 and 12 year olds!

By Jessica L |

I have been wanting to take my family to Legoland for years. We were supposed to go Spring Break of 2020 but that didn’t happen. I was worried the kids would be too old but honestly it was probably more fun with their ages now. We loved the all of the bigger rides and all the shops. Sea Life was my personal favorite, the animals and the people were awesome . We went on a Monday and the lines were all less than 10 minutes. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. We were excited to get a VIP tour with Renate and the entire encounter was next level amazing. I recommend you take your family on the VIP experience if you get the opportunity.

My kids loved collecting badges, at first they were really shy asking people but after a few nice encounters they found their voices and talked to everyone they saw.

Overall we had a great time and will absolutely be back!

Great family fun

By M B |

Legoland was a great time. We enjoyed that there were many activities that didn't require a wait in line. The staff were very friendly, although some were more clued in than others.

Great builds! Fun sights! Park only medium overall

By Elizabeth B |

Lego builds were amazing to see. Definitely worth going. My boys loved seeing all the builds, even my adult son and I loved that. There were enough small rides to keep my younger boys happy at ages 9 and 11 they prefer small coasters so that worked out. I was surprised that there wasn’t more to do and age range was more 3-8 for most things. Also workers were rude a few times and I expected friendly happy you are here workers like we’ve experienced at the amusement park near our home

Had a great time, spent some serious money and enjoyed ourselves

By Kara H |

We had a great time! I brought my 4yr old kiddo and my sister. We were able to ride every ride we wanted to, using the mix and match reserve and ride feature I purchased in advance. Unfortunately using that feature was convoluted and took a little bit to figure out at the beginning of the day but once I got the hang of it, it was functional. I will reiterate that we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, we had pizza at lunch out of necessity so I can’t speak for the food options, although I appreciate that you can bring food in as well. We bought one of the souvenir cups and we’re able to refill three times which made each drink $8, not great but it is a theme park after all. We weirdly spent probably more money here than at Disneyland, the only way I can rationalize that is my kid is less into anything Disney specific than he is into legos in general so you will either have to shell out on at least a set of legos or keepsake of some kind or deal with a tantrum or bad attitude. Just be prepared to spend and make the best of it! The rides were so creative and thoughtfully made. The Legos cities are insane, I can’t speak highly enough at the awe of seeing a miniature New York City and Las Vegas, etc. I definitely recommend a trip to Legoland!

Little Kids

By Scenic257727 |

Great for young kids, lots of rides for those 40” and up. Several rides they can do alone, which is great for those wanting independence.

Dream Come True for 6 Year Old Lego Fan

By BoardingPass286818 |

It was the first time I had been, and brought my 6 year old grandson. We had such a blast! It is a wide open, well-laid out park. We enjoyed the lack of lines for the fun rides and shows! And the food was great! All interactions we had with the employees were wonderful. Everyone was so helpful, and nice! We enjoyed ourselves immensely! It was a dream come true for a 6 yo Lego fan!

Best day ever!

By Annaleah M |

We took my nephew for his 5th birthday! We stayed at the castle hotel so super close
The staff was super friendly. We had a great time and the lines were not super long. Everything was super clean even the restrooms and the floor around the park. The rides are geared toward younger kids however even us adult went on the rides which was still fun. The park and the rides are 10/10 we will definitely be back. He even exclaimed “BEST DAY EVER!” while we were walking around. The aquarium was pretty awesome and interactive also!

Only thing was “The Coffee Shop” the workers were goofing off in the back, they only gave me part of my order then I had to ask for the other part. I order two hot chocolate they gave me one then went to the back to chit-chat among themselves I had to ask for my second one. Then I ordered a holiday drink that they also forgot to make while I was standing right at the pick up counter and when I did get it was super milky, I had ordered it the day before from the market and it was awesome but the second day I asked them to remake it and even then it was sloppy and not anything like the day before which was a bit disappointing.

Don't do a day at Legoland without adding the VIP tour!

By j w |

We had such an awesome day!!!! The ULTIMATE VIP tour was amazing. It is the only way will ever do the park again. It made the day so pleasant and stressless for the adults. The tour helped the children to be able to do more than they have in the past. Hope to do another tour again soon. Thank you Michael!!! You are amazing and created the greatest memories for our family. Our boys are still saying "thank you, Michael". Michael was patient and great with our very active boys.

Magical family memories!

By kimri c |

As a family with 4 young kids ages 8 yrs down to 2 years and our 8 yr old having profound autism, this trip was absolutely AMAZING. We could not have been more impressed with all of the staff and the magic in general. Down to every detail, everything was a 10/10. We were grateful to be able to get the reserve and ride pass so our son didn’t have to wait in lines. Everything also felt very clean and well taken care of. For a first time experience- it blew our socks off!! Thank you, we will be back!!

Great for younger kids 10 and under

By Matthew H |

We had an amazing time! The park is perfect for younger kids and the staff are all so friendly. We also appreciated the sensory rating.

legoland california

By Kristal S |

we loved it! the kids had a blast with getting pop badges and trading minifigs in addition to rides and all Lego themes through the park.

Very enjoyable

By A F |

Super smooth check-in at hotel, park, and aquarium. Very kind and helpful staff too. It was a delightful surprise to attend during what would be considered “off season” as crowds were nonexistent! Kids loved being able to ride attractions over and over again without waiting. Weather was GORGEOUS making it even more enjoyable.

Great birthday experience

By Getaway38810439700 |

Would stay at the castle again! We went for my son’s birthday and he loves the experience. The kids have their own sleeping area which I think more hotels should do as well. The hotel leaves a few accommodations for families like water and juice. There’s a playground for kids and also a movie playing outside with lounge seating! A great place for kids and adults

Come while your children are young, then they will want to go elsewhere 🥲

By Pau |

Always check the schedules in the app before purchasing tickets as the schedules change depending on the day.

It's a playground for younger kids, and the lines if they're long, but overall they're worth it!

Awesome trip with a badge stop with Corbin. He made such an awesome game!

By Behr |

5 star. Corbin made this awesome Lego game that our whole family participated in. We had lots of fun! the littles really liked it

Fun and friendly!

By Cassie P |

Corin was fun and amazing! Made the play stops so fun, we are looking for more!!! We are now on the hunt for more play stops.

Marshallmellow52's rievew

By Marshall M |

The whole experience of the park was very fun, especially since if you wore the birthday lanyard almost all staff you talk to will say happy birthday to you. most of the rides were more kid friendly, but a lot of them were still cool, especially Emmet's flying invention, that ride is very unique with the wind, and the smells, it was all so cool! I would recommend it to a lot of people. I did have one problem though... WHERE WERE ALL THE BATHROOMS?!

Awesomeness!!

By Irene S |

It was a wonderful experience. So much to do and well worth the admission price. Want to go again soon! The colors of buildings were amazing!

Family fun

By mustu80 |

Miniland is done with lots of details. Some of the rides were not operational. And the paths were closed so it took a long time to go from one attraction to another

Worth every penny.

By Gabriel K |

Tons of fun and plenty to do. Park hopper is needed to fully enjoy the experience. However a diligent planner could do it all in one day but you will be tired when your done.

Unique and Fun park

By Paul T |

Kids loved it! Playgrounds, rides, shops, and the mini cities were very unique and creative. Lots of variety, short lines, and helpful staff.

Top Chef

By Ronnie R |

The park was great and had plenty to do for our six year old son, but our best experience was eating at the castle restaurant. Our son has many different allergies, the server brought the chef to our table for any concerns. He listened and was very knowledgeable of what foods were available and even went the extra mile and made our sons food personally aside form any cross contamination. This experience really helped with the nervousness for us and allowed him to feel normal for a moment and order off the menu as all others do. We usually have to bring his own prepped from with us everywhere we go. Thank you again Chef and Legoland staff.

By Erin E |

We’ve been bringing our girls to Legoland since they were tiny and they are now teens. I decided to book the ultimate vip plus experience for them. VIP treatment from start to finish. Susan made the day flow and created a stress free, fun for all, experience. She had everything thought out and taken care of. We love you Susan, you’re awesome. Yes we will choose to do this again.

VIP Tour with Renate! Um… AMAZING!!!

By Dave A |

This was my first time at Legoland and boy was it unforgettable! I was able to get a tour with Renate and she did not disappoint! In the first 5 minutes I knew I had met the most genuine, exciting, and interesting person on my whole trip. Not only were her stories interesting, she made me feel like family instantly. Renate has so many amazing pictures and stories, I could have sat with her all day and had a blast. She is such a great asset to Lego. Can’t wait to come back and give her a big hug!! 🤗

Fun and the rides were age appropriate

By Kari M |

The staff at the hotel and in the park were great!!! There were both rides and special activities with Legos that made the experience Hands-On! We stayed two nights at the Legoland Hotel California

Great theme and vibe, and some challenges.

By RichardOKato |

Theme focused on kids (young ones) and Christmas at this time of year. Very positive and seasonally themed vibe. Very good there! Lots of cute LEGO scenery, statues, and things to see and do. However, lines were too long. Kids started to get restless. Food was on the fast food and sweets side, not as healthy as one would like in this day and age. Everything is Ramen cafe was great. But very few places to sit down and enjoy a meal. Signage was a bit difficult to navigate the park especially at night. But would go back again at least one more time.

Preferred line is morally wrong!

By Anna Y |

Only sick, disable and orderly should be available to skip a line in amusement's parks . Not ppl who are ready to pay extra $$. Our family can pay for tickets, but we teach our kids and grandkids that everybody is equal in line. Not everything should be for sale.

By Junko F |

Things to see, the experience of making and running Lego, roller coasters and rides - they were all something the kids loved and enjoyed. I want to go again.

Gramme and her grandkids❤️

By Nj R |

Everything was great. I’m so glad I became aware of the special access pass. Grandson is autistic sometimes he gets anxious and frustrated when in the long lines.
I was disappointed with all the empty hand sanitizer dispensers. In a place with thousands of people, touching everything, everywhere all over the park, kids hands are the worst.
I asked different employees and I was sent to different food stands, one after the other, had empty dispensers or sanitizer that was only for the food handlers
That sort of change would be a good thing, for everyone.
——- my grandkids and I were in the park for 8 1/2 hours, now I’m considered the best Gramme ever!! Great day!

They got you even in the rain

By Steve .R |

It was rainy, but we still had fun! You never expect when you’re visiting Carlsbad, California for there to be rain. And on our day to Legoland, that’s a bummer. But the team there was still working hard to make sure it was magical experience for everyone. Even though it was pouring in Carlsbad, the Legoland playmakers we’re doing their best to make sure it was fun for all of us

Disappointed

By Dennis M |

Purchased the 2 day pass. So, I got two days to experience an abundance of closed rides. Food was overpriced. The rides were understaffed which meant long waits. We needed to rent a stroller for our grandchildren which required me to leave the park, rent the unit outside the front gate and get back into line to re-enter the park. The Lego structures were cool to see.

We love this place a year after year

By Doug P |

Strongly recommend LEGOLAND. We have a lot of fun. Every time we go. We have a lot of friends that we know there. Everybody is really kind and friendly. The rides are always updating.

By Stephen B |

Horrible experience waiting in ride lines ranging from one to two hours. The park is only open for a total of nine hours in the day so it's not possible to thoroughly enjoy the facilities and based on the amount of money that you have to pay it's not a good return on investment.. the mobile app that they encourage you to use is completely unreliable and not a good indicator of ride wait times. To make it worse and even more insulting they force you to listen to ads while you navigate the app .Of course they got you for $35 for parking. Since this theme park caters to kids who are preteen it is a very difficult experience keeping them entertained while they stand in arduous wait lines. It's pretty clear that the private Equity company who bought this place was not looking to make it a better experience

Shoutout Emelia!

By anabel s |

I was going to share my review on the iPads they have in the park but it’s like a 10 minute survey.

My family and I went to get ice cream at the castle and it was almost closing time. The line was long and they had closed down 1/2 of the ice cream shop. There was multiple employees, but only 2 looked like they were working. I want to acknowledge and give a great shout out to Emelia. She was the one scooping the ice cream. Another employee said there’s no more cones and she saw the disappointment in the customers faces. Emilia said hold on let me go check in the back. She came back with some. The little things matter and she could have simply just gone with what her coworker said but went above and beyond. She was super friendly, outgoing, and definitely managing the stress that can come with a big crowd.

Please help me find 6 heroes

By bella z |

This might be the only true paradise in my heart for the rest of my life.
Because something happened that I can never forgive myself for.

While I was taking care of my younger child, I neglected the older one. As a result, the older child couldn’t find me in time and got lost. It was a kind couple who comforted him and brought him to the staff. I understand — to the staff, this might have been a routine matter. But for me, it was a life-altering event.

I’m deeply grateful to the young male staff member in the black security uniform — he was so calm and handsome — and the long-haired lady in a blue uniform. I was too panicked at the time to remember to ask for their names. On the way home, I kept regretting it over and over.

I also want to find and thank that kind couple who helped my child. And most importantly, there were two women who stayed at the scene and saw me looking for my child. They told me what had happened and even walked with me to find the staff. But at the time, all I could say was “thank you” — I couldn’t say anything more. I regret so much that I didn’t ask for their names or phone numbers.

How can I express my gratitude to these amazing heroes?
Please, if anyone can help, I want to find them. I didn’t get to fully express how grateful I am. I want to properly thank them — they saved me.

If my child had truly gone missing, I don’t think I could have lived with myself.

Great time!

By M C |

This place is wonderful for your little ones! And overall the whole family. The detail is great. The rides were fun. It wasn’t crowded. The staff was wonderful and interactive. The price wasn’t terrible either. But we are considering an annual pass. We stayed there all day! We loved that it closed at 5 it’s just perfect. The entire atmosphere is welcoming. We loved everything about it

Beware of misleading pricing, deceptive sales practices, and lack of park management accountability

By Georgi S |

I’m writing this because I really hope no other family goes through what we did at Legoland.
We planned this trip for our two little kids and were so excited — it was supposed to be a special getaway. When I booked our stay on the Legoland website, it truly looked like I was purchasing a hotel + park package. The layout, the wording, the flow… everything made it seem like park admission was included. I never imagined that I was booking a hotel-only stay at a theme park resort.
We didn’t find out anything was missing until we walked up to the park entrance with two excited kids… only to be told we had no park tickets at all. The confusion, the embarrassment, the stress — and watching our kids’ faces fall — was honestly heartbreaking. We had to scramble to buy tickets right then and there just so our children wouldn’t be disappointed. It was such a waste of both time and money!
When I contacted Customer Services, their response felt cold and technical. They just kept repeating that I “declined” park tickets during checkout, as if anyone visiting Legoland with small kids would intentionally decline park access. The issue wasn’t our intentions — it was the poor design of their booking process. It simply wasn’t clear, and their follow-up showed no willingness to understand that.
What should have been a smooth, joyful trip started off with unnecessary stress because of confusing website design and a lack of accountability. I hope Legoland improves how they present their booking options, because no family should have to deal with this kind of surprise at the gates.

By Michelle W |

We loved our trip to Legoland Hotel, the park, as well as the Sea Life Aquarium. We had a little hiccup with redeeming our Summer Play Pass but Sonia in Customer Service was a great help and went above and beyond to help us resolve our issue. The hotel was a bit noisy but to be expected. Overall, we had an amazing time and made amazing memories with our daughter.

Excellent. I liked it better than Disneyland because the kids love to build things. The food selection was limited but we still had a great time. We had food delivered.

It was.... Ok.

Our recent family trip to Legoland was a mixed bag—a dream for the younger kids and a bit of a disappointment for the older ones and the parents’ wallets. Here is the breakdown:
The Highlights: Bricks and Shopping
MINILAND USA: This was easily the best part of the park. The level of detail in the miniature LEGO cities is absolutely breathtaking. Whether you’re looking at the Vegas strip or the New York skyline, it’s a masterpiece that every age can appreciate.
The Big Shop: If you are a LEGO fan, this store is a must-visit. It is incredibly comprehensive—the most impressive selection I’ve ever seen in a single location, including flagship LEGO stores. We found sets here that are hard to find anywhere else.
The Lowlights: Dining and Logistics
The Pizza & Pasta Buffet: For $28 per person, the food selection was extremely underwhelming. It was essentially just pizza and salad, which felt overpriced for the quality. The only saving grace was that it provided a nice place to sit down and rest, but don't expect a gourmet experience.
Reserve & Ride "Ultimate": We purchased the Reserve & Ride Ultimate pass (the level just below the VIP Experience), and frankly, it was not worth it.
The App: You have to stay glued to your phone to book rides, which takes you out of the moment.
The Wait: The "near-instant access" they advertise was non-existent. Many rides were "blacked out" or unavailable, and when compared to the efficiency of Disneyland’s Lightning Lane (formerly FastPass), Legoland’s system leaves a lot to be desired.
Age Suitability
This park is definitely geared toward the younger crowd. My 4 and 6-year-olds had a blast and were the perfect age for the attractions. However, my 13-year-old was quite bored. The rides are generally tame and lack the "thrill factor" that older teens crave.

“Seeing my son light up with joy at LEGOLAND was the best feeling ever!”

By Cindy A |

I took my 8-year-old son to LEGOLAND, and he absolutely had a blast! He has autism, and I was a little nervous about how the day would go, but the staff were incredibly kind, patient, and understanding. The park was very sensory-friendly — lots of space, fun colors, and plenty of rides he could enjoy without feeling overwhelmed.
He especially loved the LEGO building areas and the gentle rides — it was wonderful to see him so happy and engaged. I really appreciated how accommodating everyone was, and how easy it was to find quiet spots when he needed a little break.
We both left with big smiles and lots of great memories. Highly recommend LEGOLAND for families with kids of all abilities — it was a perfect day!

So fun!

By olga f |

Amazing!!! Our family had so much fun We came back for seconds! Great trip, both times. This was our first time staying at the Lego hotel though, and it was incredible. We will definitely be staying here again!

Good experience with the kids

By serenelight |

Perfect for my kids who were all above the 40 cm minimum height requirements. They were able to get on all the rides. Paying extra for the fast line felt like a necessity, however everyone bought it so it only kinda helped.

By Apache_ML |

After visiting DisneyLand, Disney California Adventure Park, and Universal Studios my family and I visited Lego Land. This was our first ever visit to a Lego Land.

Compared to the other parks we’ve visited, I thought Lego Land was quite disappointing. The park is quite tardy in places (e.g. the Golden Gate Bridge had broken bits on it). The outdoor builds are all faded from sun and the place looks like it could do with a lick of paint.

The park is also very much aimed at younger kids, 6 and under I’d say. My 5 year old enjoyed himself but I certainly wouldn’t be rushing back.

Not what we expected

By Geo |

Disappointing. All the Lego exhibits are sun damaged and look run down. The rides are for little kids only. Waited in line for the Techno roller coaster for an hour to be told it was going to be down for the rest of the day. We left after a couple of hours. Huge waste of money.

Busy, but great

By Lauren Y |

We had a great time at Legoland. We had family in town for the Holidays and decided to go. It was so much fun busier than we were used to, but still had a great experience. Jamey with the GoTeam (the mini figure trading board) was awesome! My son couldn’t find any mini figures to trade with so she helped us out with some accessories, which was a huge hit! I wish they were out more so we could trade more mini figures. It’s something that my kids look forward to every time we go and they are always so sad when they aren’t able to trade.

First timer

By Catrina G |

Park itself was very fun. Took advantage of the reserve and ride. Hotel room was very cute.
Bought the coca cola cup unfortunately rarely was able to use it. Diet coke was almost always not available in any machine as well as ice. Waste of money for the cup. Also, my kids were very excited to get their first time pop badge which guest service never had both days. The castle also didn't have any lanyards. My kids felt really left out on getting those items. They were really looking forward to those

Amazing and fun!

Legoland is enjoyable for all ages, and it is a very well thought out park. We had an amazing time with our kids and grandkids!

Birthday celebration

Great experience. The place was great and everyone made it special for my great nephew. Really enjoyed all the lega landmarks

By Ernesto G |

It’s a great place value for your money.
Place is great for children 9 years or younger
Place is perfect to visit on Mondays as is cheaper and not much people
It didn’t took any time to get the rides

Unforgettable amazing experience

By Hector G |

My kids had so much fun, they didn’t want to leave. It was our first time in the park and def we are gonna go back, thanks for the experience.

Delightful

By Veronica G |

We visited on a Friday, and I would say it was perfect because there weren't too many people. The location is small enough to experience everything it has to offer. I can't imagine what it would be like on a busy day. It’s ideal for a day trip, and we would definitely consider doing the double day next time.

Super duper family fun!

By Ameeta S |

My 6yr old daughter had a blast to the core. Legoland was awesome and complete family fun.

The wait times on couple of rides were insane but rest was all good.

Legoland is awesome!!

By DayTrip66581861870 |

We had a blast! Legoland is awesome for kids 4-12! We stayed at the Castle Hotel and its was amazing. The Waterpark was also a lot of fun.

Legoland is more than just rides.

By Amy R |

The children had so much fun at rebuild the world playing with Lego and the trivia game with Renate. The vip tour is totally worth booking.

We also stumbled upon a game cart The children had a blast playing a ninjago dice game with Jay.

By Amanda G |

We had the best time ever celebrating my sons 4th birthday. He was barely 42”, but lucked out on several occasions when he wanted to ride the roller coasters and bigger kid rides. We had his 1 year old sister with us, too. There were quite a few rides we all got to go on together. It was actually super beneficial for us to have her though, as we did rider switch. If you have a younger baby who can’t ride certain rides and if both parents want to ride with the older kiddo you can all wait in line together. Then when you get up to the front tell them you want to do rider switch. It made it worth the long weekend summer waits for our son to be able to go in the rides twice. We should have done the reserve and ride, as most waits were 30-45 minutes with some even 60 minutes. Especially with young kids the waits are not fun. So worth the $35/person to do reserve and ride. Food was good and I thought reasonably priced for an amusement park. Only thing we didn’t love were the bees all over the park. After leaving our soda in the stroller while on a ride we came back to a cup filled with 6 bees. Hard to control that, but just to note. We loved every second of our trip though!

Birthday Celebration

By Mags |

It was an awesome experience! Grandchildren had a great time we celebrated their birthdays, hotel was clean and great service!! We stayed in a pirate themed room decor was stunning.

Legoland was great, the water park could have been better.

By Paige S |

We had a great first time at legoland and will be back with the kids. My only issue was half of the waterpark was closed and my son isn’t tall enough for the fun water slides. Any of the water slides he could have done were blocked off unfortunately. We wouldn’t have done the park hopper if we would have known half the water park would be closed.

Loved the experience!

By Kim Baker |

Our family took the VIP experience and it was amazing. Having your own tour guide makes things so much easier and Sammi made the day perfect. We learned a lot covered so much more of the park than we would’ve on our own and were able to enjoy every ride and experience. The food was great at the Italian buffet. It was amazing and will definitely be returning!

Memories made with young grandchildren

By Flyer00388260059 |

Very beautiful grounds, wide enough walkways, everything was very clean. We took 2 of our grandchildren, ages 3 and 4. They thoroughly enjoyed the rides, but their favorite experiences were the water pads throughout the park and the parade. Only critique we would give is that there needs to be more restrooms throughout the park. We will definitely be back!!

By Jason G |

Overall, the park is worth visiting at least once for the experience if you’re just visiting. Rides and activities are certainly fun for kids and the overall theming is well done. Tons of strollers being used so not a problem in terms of safety or convenience parking them outside of rides. Depending on the day you visit though, come with tempered expectations. Lines can get long on peak days and most of them didn’t seem to have much to keep kids engaged while waiting (unlike a place like Disney that has visual stuff in the lines to engage you while waiting). The dynamic pricing for tickets is annoying though as ticket prices can practically double spur of the moment if it turns out there is a good weather day amongst a rainy stretch of days. They have a significant teacher discount though online, so take advantage of that if you can. Also, $40 for parking seems like a bit of a gouge, but there’s no better options that I can tell so you’re stuck paying it. The parking lot is at least convenient to the park though.

By Veronica C |

This park is so much fun for little ones! I want to highlight a couple of employees who made the entire experience unforgettable for us all. Connor - located at the driving school on 7/14 was amazing with my autistic son! My son is 7 and did not know how to drive the car. Connor did his best by being by him and making sure he was attempting to drive the right away. He is so appreciated!! I’d also like to highlight Gianni, an employee on the tour boat towards end of the park. His enthusiasm and way of delivering the Lego pieces we saw made it fun. What a great experience we had overall! Not to forget the way Legoland really caters to little ones on the spectrum for Autism. You are all amazing and we will be back!

Fun day at Legoland!

By BatmanWife |

Legoland is a great park for families with small children or that love legos. Older kids can still enjoy it but there isn’t many thrill rides. There’s many playgrounds throughout the park, an excavation site to find fossils, and Lego stations to build your own. My son enjoyed the Lego stations and playgrounds the best. The rides are cute but slow (again geared to smaller children) except for a few roller coasters that are on the faster side. The food is good but pricey. Overall, we had fun. My son (8 years old) really loved going to Legoland.

Awesome time

By jorge r |

No long wait times for all rides and attractions. Kids enjoy playing lego while they wait in line. Would like to see more food options. Great experience for families with kids.

First and Last

By Eduardo M |

I honestly expected more but was very disappointed with my experience. I went with my wife and my 6 and almost 2 year old. The lines on Monday the 24 were outrageous and we were unable to go on a few rides but we really wanted to do the roller coaster and we could not continue to wait, I left the line after 1 hour and there was probably another hour left, I purchased my tickets for over $120 dollars to find out that they were on sale this week at $69. I then went to the store to find NOTHING on sale and the associates were not able to answer basic questions, Honestly, this was such a waste of money, I can’t see myself coming back at these price points and outrageous lines when it’s impossible le to take your kids to enjoy the different activities with the 10-6 timeframe.

LEGOLAND, you can do better. Take care of your customers!!

Never coming here again. Lines ridiculously long.

By Eri M |

Long lines for short rides and this place is super expensive for parking, entry fee, etc.. If you want to pay extra per person for the shorter line for rides then they will make the people that didn't pay extra wait. 1 hour and 25 mins for a 2.5 min ride. Never going back.

Great time/not so great food

By Oscar M |

My family and I had a great time here. The wait got a little crazy but with the ability to reserve and ride helped out a lot. We do have one complaint, the food wasn’t so great. Specifically the ranch flavored fries. Apparently they don’t make just regular fries anywhere, just the ranch flavored ones. Didn’t make sense to us but other than that, it was a great time.

Disappointing

By dmgates1005 |

First visit to Legoland. Took 2 grandchildren and 6 adults. Paid $55 for premiere parking and waited in line to park for 30 minutes. Lines were way too long for young children. Everything and everyone just seemed to move soooo slow.Kids and adults got burned out in just a few hours with the long waits to park, to ride, to get food etc. Not sure we would go back.

Perfect destination for special needs families

By Kathy B |

My son is 21 years old and non-verbal autistic. Legoland California is a wonderful place to take him where he can truly enjoy himself, and The Dragon rollercoaster is his favorite ride. We live in Arizona and have annual passes and went 5 days the last week in August. The crowds were not bad at all, and I would have purchased Reserve and Ride but it was not available and we didn’t need it because wait times were minimal. They do an excellent job training the staff and they are so in tune to the guests. Because we rode The Dragon so many times, they would remember us and that we like to be in the front of the ride and would try to accommodate that when it was our turn. Some of the employees that stood out from the Dragon - Marshall, Summer, Brandon, Anna and Lisa from the adjacent shop at the Castle (Kings Market?). This is a perfect place for families with special needs. While they may not have the most exciting rides, especially for older kids, our son was more than happy there. Added bonus is there is lots of shade, you get in lots of exercise walking around and it is an all around pretty place to be. It doesn’t have the same feeling of chaos as the parks in Orange County do, it is actually pretty relaxing and we did not mind returning 5 days in a row. For kids with sound sensory issues, I highly recommend getting some of the foam ear plugs that you just roll up and put in their ears so they can still hear some things but it takes the edge off. We tried that this time and it was a game changer. Sea Life aquarium is also pretty neat and there is a glass tunnel where giant sharks and stingrays swim around and over you. We are happy with our annual passes and will be returning again next year for more fun (and look forward to the new rollercoaster opening in 2026).

Try to take advantage of offseason dates

By Adam T |

We went the first official day of LAUSD so the park was empty. Plenty of people but lines were five minutes or less. Our third time going but felt the least fun. A lot of the park felt smaller than usual as lots of renovations are taking place. Moreover so many rides close mid day for technical related reasons. Happens pretty often I have to assume since I can recall it happening all three visits we took.

Awesome experience

By Dipika Regmi-Acharya |

Recreational place for family and friends. Went with my husband and kids. They enjoyed a lot, especially at Chima water park. Rides and Sea world are spectacular too

Aggressive bees, everywhere

By Kim W |

We have season passes and went to Legoland yesterday, August 11Th. While we were eating lunch, there were so many bees around us and then my seven-year-old grandson got stung on his hand. He started screaming because it hurt so bad. I went to first aid to try and get some help. There are machines where you can buy Antihistamines, but, if you’re gonna have so many bees in the park, you should really have medication available quickly for the children. We did buy some antihistamine and continue to put ice on his hand, even all the way home. We left the park soon after his bee sting because he was in so much discomfort. Today his hand is very swelled up. We understand bees are a good thing and natural. Maybe get rid of so much of the sweet sugary stuff in the park that is drawing the bees?

A beautiful park

By alicia t |

Everything I really liked is a park designed for children between 5 and 12 years old and we enjoyed it as a family, we just wish there were more signs in the park to get more quickly to the areas, we missed a little.

Hot Day at Legoland

By Gary M |

Very hot day so the crowd was relatively light. And what was really needed was MORE SHADE STRUCTURES. Every bench or chair or short wall in the shade was occupied by someone sitting to get out of the sun. The other thing that is needed is BETTER SIGNAGE to direct guests around the meandering park. These simple changes could improve overall experience for everyone.

Good stay at hotel

By Road50113884573 |

Hotel and parlor were great. Most employees are so friendly here. Easy check in online amd receive a text when room ready. The hotel was well organized and comfortable for family of 5. A lot of activities and fun for the kids, even at the hotel. Buffet breakfast is included with hotel stay. Good food options for breakfast.
The park was good. Rides ate mostly for kids, not much longer wait lines compared to Disneyland.
The only down side is the food at the hotel for lunch or dinner. Expensive food at all the restaurant and not even that good. If I can skip dinner at the hotel, I would. Kid hamburgers at skyline restaurant was so sad, didn't have any tomatoes or lecture, just a flat bun and a small piece of patty.
Better option would be the wings.
Inside the park, I have tried pepperoni pizza and ramen. Let just say if we weren't eating late lunch at 3 pm after walking since 9 am, no one would even touch it.
Inside the park, churros is good option. Plenty of stations to refill drinks/waters.
Overall, legoland and hotel are good option for kids between 3-14 years old and cheaper than Disneyland.

Bait and Switch for Timing

By Stay32043767961 |

We love Legoland, but when we purchased the tickets for Friday, August 1 we were told the park would be open until 8:00 p.m. We knew we could not come until 12:30 p.m., but figured this was OK and bought tickets. We were this surprised when we got to the park and saw signage indicating the park was only open until 7:00 p.m. This despite the Legoland app still showing the park as open until 8:00 p.m. We likely would have not come knowing our time was so short as we were doing the park and Sea Life hopper ticket. So overall, very disappointed in Legoland experience.

Love LEGOLAND

By kelsi h |

My family LOVES LEGOLAND! We always have the best time and the employees are always helpful, curious, and fun! Rides are fun! Food is great! We stayed at the Castle
Because it’s our favorite! Always!

Disappointing

By Seanbryn D |

Disappointed that a lot of the rides were shut down. “Early entrance” basically only gets you in the door and two little kid rides. None of the good ones. For as much as you pay to stay at the legoland resort the perks didn’t make it worth it.

surprised by the restaurant closures and outdated information on the app, but enjoyed the rides and hotel stay

By Passenger08942697832 |

it was surprising to see many restaurants open late, or closed the entire day. it was also surprising to see the legoland hotel closed but the app still showed activities there making planning a bit disappointing as we showed up to a dance party that was never to be.

It was also hard to have the events at the castle hotel so far apart. for instance, there was bingo at 7pm, but it only lasted 10 minutes, and the kids had to wait until 8pm for a story that also lasted only about 15 minutes and then the kids had to wait till 9pm for the magician. it was a lot of time to sit and wait.

the lines for the rides moved quickly and the kids (ages 4-5) loved it, and we enjoyed staying at the castle hotel despite the issues above.

Ride

By Ashley Pililani D |

Every time we go to this amusement park, half of the rides are either not open or closed due to repairs. We normally visit during holiday season so you would think it would have more options available.

EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME!

By Christina d |

This was our first visit to Legoland and everything was AWESOME! The check out process, entering the park, and each individual staff member we encountered, made the experience have us wanting to come back for more. We are a family who fall on the spectrum of ASD and every staff member made sure we understood all the directions, made us feel safe, and gave our family an experience we will be talking about till we can come back! What an awesome day we had, even only having 5hrs to spend it! I would highly recommend taking a visit here, especially if you have any Lego fans in your family!

Best birthday ever

By Hannah B |

We absolutely loved getting to celebrate my husbands 23rd birthday and have our two kids enjoy their first time going as well. We were one of the chosen families to go ahead and go for free by blue star families of San Diego. It allowed us to enjoy both theme parks which made us now want to get the season pass even more.

Great fun!

By Rita C |

Perfect place for our 3 and 5 year old grandchildren. They loved it! The weather was perfect and the grounds are well kept and clean.

Legoland is clearly on a Cost-Cutting mission and are removing/downgrading their features.

By Lesley R |

We have gone every year at Christmas since my daughter was 3. So for 5 years. This year, they have made CHANGES and they are bad! The lobby of the Legoland hotel - previous Lego structures are just gone, along with the fun buttons and sound effects. The colorful carpets with hidden gags like whoopie cushions? Gone and replaced with LVT. The juice in the breakfast buffet was mostly water. The kids used to get a small Lego kit every day they stayed in the hotel with a treasure hunt to get it, now it's only 1 per visit max. The birthday package has gone up in price and no longer has the coupon for use in the Big Store. In the park the depression continues: large Lego structures and statues are gone. Elements of the Coastal Cruises are no longer animated, or missing entirely. The boat building station was simplified and downgraded. We struggled to find any staff member offering a Pop badge and came home with 2 for each kid total. The holiday treats were reduced and harder to find. In the store, they will no longer hold purchases for you to pick up at end of day, so if you make the mistake of shopping early, someone must leave the park to take it to the car.

The perk is unlike Disneyland, the lines are short enough that you can get on every single ride in one day, which is nice! Not too crowded. But overall, the immersive magic of the experience is gone, and I think it's time we break tradition and do something else next year.

The best is a understatement

By Josh G |

Ok the best would be a understatement it was soooooooo fun and I went to the dragons den cafe and it was one of the first restaurant that had a ube Desert and I got to build my own mini figures!!!!! So I recommend legoland if you want fun exciding rides and games and, and a big bunch of Lego stores!!! So if your a BIG Lego fan like me I recommend legoland

liked it for a one time visit

By Iliana S |

Legoland is good for kids to visit once.
places to sit down to eat didnt had enough seatings. Had to sit down on the floor to eat with ny 3 y/o.

Wonderful family time

By Mike I |

Wonderful time at Lego land castle. As a parent I really enjoy that they had so many different activities and attractions.. there the heated pool, they have multiple playgrounds, bingo , movie night.. overall I recommend it . Very fun

Wonderful Factory Tour with Renate

By Cole R |

Had the pleasure of doing the LEGO Factory Tour with Renate! She was a wonderful host to me and my partner at the time, and I would definitely recommend booking the tour to anyone who’s looking for a unique, personalized experience at Legoland.

Exciting, fun, friendly and chill

By FarAway61164151681 |

I went with my 11-year-old nephew who LOVES LEGOS today. 1 day was great to explore, but I'm grateful for the 2 day pass. We shopped today and will ride on day 2 pass in 3 days. Legoland is more suited for 3-10 year olds. I can't wait to take my grandkids!

Avoid Brick’s Buffet

By Lola G |

My family and I had lots of fun in Legoland California! The food from Everything Is Ramen and the snacks we got from other places in the park were delicious; however, Legoland can really do better with their Brick’s family buffet and castle hotel room. The buffet was about $100 for 4 people. The Mac and Cheese was worse than the boxed Mac and cheese I normally get from HEB. The only noodle it served was way too soft. The pizzas were not as good as Gattis Pizza. The food variety was limited. We were very disappointed with the buffet dinner. We stayed in themed Penguin Hotel in China last summer break, and their buffet dinner was fantastic with lots of high quality food and a wide range of ansian and western food varieties. For the dragon and knight room we had in Castle Hotel, it had a mobile AC unit, which was quite loud when it works… it was our first time to have a mobile AC unit in an expensive hotel room… the room does have great themed elements, but the paint color is like and old yellow color making the room look dated. Except these problems, we enjoyed our 2 days and 1 night trip there.

By Karla D |

This was our Second time going, my kids loved it and me and my husband had a blast with them. They take great care of it it’s really clean too. And the people working are respectful and kind.

Great experience

By Veerle M |

Everything was great. The kids had so much fun. We will absolutely return in the future and probably visit the water park as well.

Great experience for families!

By vanessabU5182ER |

We had the most wonderful time at Legoland, CA. The park is so thoughtfully tailored to younger kids and families. We attended the park for 2 days and were thrilled with our ability to ride all of the rides and repeat a couple. We love the aquarium too. This was our first time going to the Waterpark and we thought it was cool. Our only complaint was the Reserve and Ride Pass implementation, that was really discouraging for those of us without the pass.

Birthday weekend

By Jackeline G |

It was my son birthday and it was a great experience. We when for the weekend with a birthday package. He enjoys all the rides and new experiences.

Lots of Construction and many rides closed

By Jason D |

This is a really fun place. However when we went this year in November. There is a lot of construction going on so many rides and shops are closed. The bathroom locations are terrible, especially when you have very young children. The employees weren't very helpful and gave us wrong directions for the nearest restroom.

Family fun

By eddie a |

Great family fun for a Lego living 8 year old. Loved all themes of each land with Lego movie land being our favorite. 2 days was definitely needed.

Everyone should go

By Penelope F |

Me and my family had a great time my sister was a little sad because we could not meet emet and wild style but over all it was amazing.

Employees like Renate make the experience

By Brian W |

We had such a fun time at Legoland. Renate took the time to make it a special experience for my kids. They had the best time. Thank you so much!!

Goooo lifeguards

By Roam49746574242 |

We are annual passholders and all we should go more often than we do today we went to enjoy the aquarium eat food and then the waterpark however, we were a little bit late to the waterpark. They were closing in 30 minutes and then my son fell down so he never went in the water, but there was a really sweet teenager guy lifeguard that got him a Band-Aid and was very nice to tending to our needs so good job on hiring very good lifeguards! Even though my kid never went into the water I think They show the care and compassion that children need

So so

By Jet14277074094 |

Group rides are usually for 4 ppl or less so any families of 4 be prepared to split up. Food & drinks are outrageous and mediocre quality. Absolutely recommend even the cheapest option for reserve & ride.
Best for kids 10 and younger.

Kids loved all the lego builds around the park. Rides are perfect for little kids. So many great photos ops.

Renate is awesome

By Jake J |

Renate is awesome and meeting her and hearing stories about LEGO from her was my favorite part of visiting LEGOLAND. The LEGO structures were very interesting and impressive

The best part: Brick-or-treat!

By Erica M |

The Brick-or-treat was an amazing birthday for my 6 yo birthday and my 9 yo. My 6 yo loves Halloween and this was perfect. Both of my kids had a great time collecting candy throughout the park, going to all the unique playgrounds and rides, and just being together as a family.

By boetken1978 |

This park is great for kids 11 or younger or Lego lovers. We took our nine year old daughter and it was perfect for her first time at an amusement park. The park was clean and three of ussplit a salad and fruit cup and three drinks for 40 dollars. We felt the prices of food and souvenirs were affordable . I would not recommend this for older kids if they are not Lego fans. The app is good for times and how to maneuver the park. It is worth getting the line jump pass if you do not want to wait. This is something we will do the next time we go to park
The only downfall is we wish there were closer bathrooms areas.

10/10

By Susana F |

Corin was spectacular with the kids, very polite, and made our Legoland experience extra special. Thank you!!……………..

Great day

By Cherie B |

We had such a good time. It wasn’t really busy so we were able to go on all the rides and see everything we wanted to see. Was a little bummed some of the rides were closed.

FALSE ADVERTISING

By Brian R |

“We were extremely disappointed with our recent visit to Legoland California. We purchased a two-day park hopper ticket under the clear impression that it included a free child admission with each adult ticket. When we arrived, we found out that wasn’t honored at all, and we ended up having to pay an extra $444 to cover our kids’ admissions. It really put a damper on the entire experience.”

Everything is Awesome At Legoland California!

By Robyn C |

Whether you are a LEGO fanatic or an amusement park enthusiast, LEGOLAND California is a great place to enjoy fun rides, entertaining parades, photo opportunities with LEGO characters, shopping LEGO-style, and of course, food. The Sea Life Aquarium and the Waterpark are other great features at the park. There is so much to do that you can’t get through the park in one day. Highly recommend a multi-day pass to maybe break-up everything the park has to offer. Everything is Awesome At Legoland California!

Kids had a blast

By Rachel B |

My kiddos had a blast... They want to return as soon as possible lol. Plenty to do and see. My kids loved the building stations Especially my son. Which who we went for, for his birthday. We got himbthe birthday package and he felt super special since everyone who worked at the park and hotel said "Happy Birthday" to him. We will be coming back again.

Very Special Place for All Ages

By Nicholas B |

This place is amazing. The rooms were so cool. We were there one day but would need two to get to visit all the park. If doing the water park too I would recommend 3 days. Staff was great. Only complaint was getting charged parking twice. It was also quite expensive just for one day.

We had a large group of 17 families that went and we stayed at the castle hotel and had two days there and it was a blast, the hotel staff was great and was able to get us all in and everyone enjoyed it.

What a wonderful time

By Adrianna C |

Stayed 3/2 nights. Paid for buffet and free breakfast. Hotel room was nice, best shower I’ve had at a hotel! My advise is to make your reservations! This helped out a lot with time! The park is small and lots of rides and different experiences. I have an 11 year old and a 5 year old and they both had fun. There are metal detectors when you walk in. I advise you arrive early the parking lot gets full! I paid for valet and it was a breeze. I highly recommend the sea life aquarium, it’s well designed and just a cute experience. The water park is at the north end of the park, we didn’t make it because my dad broke his leg a year ago and he still limps, my daughter also has her feet issues so it just didn’t work out for us but we did go to the pool at the Legoland hotel (not castle) and it was nice and big. The lifeguards were amazing! There were like 5 on duty and there was like 3 people in the pool. I felt so much better knowing there were so many eyes on my kids. There is one park that isn’t deep for little ones and the other part was 5ft deep. I ordered food at the bar and the nice bartender brought it to me outside! I really appreciated this! Some rides were tricky for my dad to get in and out of with his limp but the workers were so kind and helpful. I had a few discrepancy like the buffet not being stocked with food and being charged for something I already paid for but I addressed them and they didn’t hassle me about it. They took care of my issues and refunded me right away. I would definitely stay again. The price tag though was a little high! Around 2100 for 3 days 2 nights, buffet for 2 nights and breakfast for 3 days, valet and parking! My party was 2 adults and 2 kids! Have fun!

Caludia and Ioana

I have the year pass my kids love this place I have never had an issue other than the first time we ever came. We were told we could only carry a cooler if it was inside the wagon.
The next time we came and for over a year we got a wagon and would bring it inside the wagon. Today aug.30th we were told by an employee Claudia that was in the checking point that she was going to contact manager because we weren't allowed in with the cooler I told her we are members for more than a year and we always get the year pass. Aside from that it wasn't even Claudias line she came in from another line yelling hey hey no cooler allowed. Manager Iona came in and said no coolers I told her we been doing this for years and we always follow the rules. We do a 2hour drive to get here every weekend. And never had n issue other than today. Im really disappointed and upset. How things happened.

Legoland park and hotel package completely worth it!

By Climber49158594738 |

We always enjoy going to Legoland. We always get the hotel+park package because of the convenience of the location right next to the park and aquarium. Also it is very convenient to have the food options in both the hotel and the park. The themed hotel rooms really makes our kids experience even more fun! We have always had great experiences staying at both hotels in the Adventure Themed rooms.

Chaotic Week in Legoland California with Poor Management

By Jondavis |

We stayed in the Legoland hotel for a week and got Elite season tickets for our family (ie Lego fans) but the overall experience was poor despite the thousands of dollars spent in add ons. The hotel is licensed (ie not owned by Lego) so old, faded, and loud and very long lines in check in (ie one receptionist for 250 rooms!?!?) with poor management. Specifically, Izzie was not helpful and didn’t listen to our concerns about the bunk beds not screwed to the walls so we were very uncomfortable and complained and had to PAY to change/ upgrade to a safer room. Everything is nickel and dimed including tickets, food, etc. Pools in both the Legoland hotel and Castle were freezing (ie not heated well) with one hot tub for two hotels in 40 degree nights and everything closed very early— 6p for the park and 8p for the pool and hotel restaurants and we waited in long lines everywhere— ie expect maybe one hour wait just to get into the park at 9am early access and two hours if you are regular access (ie parking line is very long too). Expect all kids to get sick and legos were littered on the floors in both lobbies so there are trip hazards everywhere for any older folks. Lego merchandise is full retail of course so it is all very expensive— ie single Lego mini figures are $10 each in the park. Try to remember your Lego rewards number— at least they do honor “Lego insider reward numbers” in the shops (ie although not owned by Lego so no returns unless you bring it back to the Legoland park itself). We stayed a week and due to poor management and nonexistent customer service, expect chaos.

Family Review

By Resalie U |

We checked in this week and my kids enjoyed the hotel and the park very much.

We liked everything we ate in Den’s Dragon.

Brick’s Family Buffet was a downside though. Everything was bland 🙁.

Overpriced

By Lisa S |

Overpriced food and lines are way too long. every time we come here Ninjango swipes don’t work!!! 45mun wait for broken and run down ride.

A wonderful bunch of people u have working here

Dino blast at the outpost

By Danielle P |

The family had a wonderful time during our recent trip to Legoland. Sarah J was very helpful when we visited the Dino Outpost and took our time discovering the burried fossil. It was deeper than we expected but the kids were absolutely thrilled to find some bones.

Im not sure if its because our trip was during a weekday, but we never saw a mini-fig trader and it seems like pop badges were hard to find as well. I hope that weekday visitors arent missing out on some of the unique offerings that makes Legoland so special.

LEGOLAND

By Rachael F |

The trip was amazing. We met Renate and she took us on a tour. I was overwhelmed with her knowledge and love of LEGO. I would definitely recommend going.

A happy place to enjoy with the family.

By leandro m |

Visiting this park is a delightful experience for families looking to immerse themselves in the colorful and imaginative world of Lego. From towering brick structures to interactive play areas, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The vibrant atmosphere, filled with laughter and creativity, makes it the perfect destination for a day of fun. Thank you for providing such a fantastic place where families can bond and create lasting memories together amidst the magic of Lego!

Renate and The Lego VIP Experience at Legoland California

By Guide47436212219 |

Lego VIP Tour with Renate was amazing. Great information on the history of the family that started Lego, how the products are made, and the love and attention to detail that someone such as Renate has for the park, it's products, and the team members. Her charm, wit, and hands-on demonstrations were phenomenal. We would highly recommend The LEGO VIP experience.

A wonderful Experience

By Radu S |

Did a 1-night (wished we did 2) Castle Hotel stay with 2-day Legoland Park, water part, Aquarium visit. Hotel is tailored to kids which is which is what we loved most about it. Our 5- and 7-year-olds did not want to leave. Pre-Booking the dinner buffet was worth it.

Visited during the week and were told not all water park rides operated. Some operated on the weekend only. This did not have an impact on how much you we enjoyed the water park.

It was fun doing the waterpark in the morning till about 2pm and the rest of the park in the afternoon.

Legoland Helps families with children on the spectrum in shortening line wait times. Visit Park the Services Building on the right as you enter to discuss how they can help.

We have been coming to this Legoland park a lot and it never disappoints.

My kids can't wait till we visit again.

Awesome service and excellent time!!

By Peter R |

Incredible customer experience and ride times. We went on a Thursday. Awesome 4 yo experience for our son! This trip was for my 40th bday and 11th anniversary.

Did not disappoint!

By Debra C |

Our 3 year old Granddaughter LOVED her first time at LEGOLAND! My husband and I appreciated the kid friendly attractions. The horse ride was her FAVORITE! We will definitely come again.

Perfect place for kids 3-12. Lots to do.

By Tiffany L |

Great place to go if you have kids from 3-12 that love Lego. More character meet and greets. Fun rides and lots of playgrounds to play at when the kids need to just run. Employees were mostly kind and willing to help. Lots of shade for a hot day. Great time.

By Rose M |

First time. We had our 18mo, pregnant mama, and friends with their own young family. Lots of attractions and cool Lego art. Lots of fun. Big park but not overwhelming. Lots of shade and places to sit/rest. Walking baby/toddler enjoyed the water pad section with big Legos to play with. We’re also got to see the aquarium—we enjoyed the slide and the tunnel.

This was our first trip to Legoland and we loved it! From the castle hotel to the theme parks and the aquarium, it was amazing!

Overrated - Waste of Money and Time - Terrible Experience - 10/10 do NOT recommend.

By jellybean339 |

We travelled to Legoland for our end of the summer holiday and thought it would be a great way to end off the summer before school starts.

We arrived around 11am to the hotel and was told our room wouldn't be ready until 4pm - 4:30pm, but we could leave our luggage with the bell service desk -- No issues at all! We left for plans we had already made and came back from 4:30pm assuming our room would be ready. When I arrived back at the desk, I was informed no rooms were ready but if I wanted to PAY for an upgrade they would have one ready for me right away. I declined this offer since we had pre-paid for our room already. The staff member proceeded to ask me why we had selected the room theme we did, and when I said it fit our budget the best, he went on again about how if we paid for an upgrade we could get into a better room right away. Once again I refused the upgrade, and he said he would go talk to his manager to see what they could do for us and low and behold our room was "magically ready". I was given our keys and given NO DIRECTIONS to the hallway, the room, nothing. I was given no information about the hotel -- did not know about the app, the webpage to book dinner reservations or learn about the hours. No one explained to my daughter about the treasure hunt, the various activities and entertainment nothing. Also was not told that there are no phones in the room but that if you need something you need to text a number that I was not provided. Super helpful for a first time guest.

The room was fine, except it was challenging to get any coffee or towels delivered -- the A/C was none existence which explains why we only had sheets and no blanket. We sweated all night. The worst sleep I've ever had. Our room was run down -- the best was so soft it and it smelled musty. One perk is the built in toddler toilet seat for kids. Honestly, the only perk of this place.

Why they charge different rates for the various themes is beyond me -- its the same room with different wallpaper.

The staff we met in our 2 days there --- only 1 staff at the Castle Hotel (we did not stay at the Castle Hotel) was helpful and kind and nice. She helped me navigate everything after seeing how lost we were. Other than that --- every staff member was cold, rude, unhappy -- all looked miserable and I get it -- you're working at kid focused hotel but suck it up and smile during your shift. Even at the park -- the ride attendants were 95% rude and mean.

The park itself is geared to younger kids for sure -- our daughter was pushing being to old for the park and rides at 8 years old. They have cubbies at every ride to put your belongings which I did not like -- I do not want to be leaving my purse unattended for anyone to take. If the ride isn't safe enough for me to wear my cross body small fanny pack -- you have bigger issues to deal with. Also, they never fill the rides and its 1 maybe 2 staff per ride and it takes FOREVER to load and unload the ride -- it was BRUTAL!!!

Our second night there - we went to the buffet - where you have to pay upon check in which is so frustrating because 1. the food was terrible and not worth what they charge and 2. they never put staff the exit of the restaurant - which exits into the main hallway into the hotel so families were just coming in the exit and eating their dinner for free. Yet the night we were there, there was 3 staff at the check in, playing on their cell phones not paying attention to anything. So I paid over $100 for dinner and got to watch people eat for free.

I asked where the laundry room was -- was told it was in the Castle Hotel -- thought great, I'll go tackle that because you know, kids are messy! -- but no one thought to say the Castle Hotel was CLOSED until the Thursday night -- 2 days later. When I texted the number to ask about it, I was told I would have to wait -- lovely. But not only that -- the only outdoor play area is in the Castle Hotel so my daughter was disappointed that she couldn't go and play there either.

Upon check out, there was a luggage cart left outside our room. We used that to bring our luggage down and as my husband was bringing up our cart -- one of the Bell Service staff asked me where I go the cart, I said it was outside our room - he then proceeded to say guests aren't allow to use them and took my luggage off and left in on the road for my husband to grab. It was the perfect send off really.....

The hotel overall is run down, needs maintenance and all the staff needs customer service training. The food is subpar and extremely expensive. The only good meal we had was from the Raman restaurant in the park.

This is a one and done trip for us and we will never be back.

Here is my final tip -- if you are going to charge Disney prices -- then you need to provide Disney service and quality.

Loud, No privacy, dont pay extra for balcony

By Inspire22172812784 |

I booked a room at Lego land castle hotel.

Cons:
1. Noisy and loud. They gave me a room located in the 1st floor, next to a restaurant bar and play ground. It was loud until 11:30pm. In the morning I was awaken by the noise from the staff at the bar, dragging the chairs on the floor. After a long day from the park, I did not get a full rest because of these noises.

2. I paid extra to get a room with a balcony. But it was not used because it's right next to the restaurant bar patio, and in front of a play ground. There is no privacy as people will look at you. Also, people can see through the sliding door so I couldnt even open the curtain to get natural light. It was a waste of room upgrade! It should be noted when booking that the balcony is infront of a park, next to a restahrant bar where people will be loud and staring, and recommended if privacy is important.

3. You will hear kids running from the 2nd floor.

Pros:
1. clean
2. They have a treasure hunt in the room and the kids enjoyed it.
3. Great theme decoration.

Overall, I didnt get rest and regret staying in this hotel. It's overpriced considering all the cons.

Bee everywhere, Long lines and Closures 😩

By Carl M |

My family and I left very disappointed with our recent visit. For the amount we paid for tickets, the experience simply didn’t match the cost.
• Bee Problem: The bees were everywhere, especially around food and drink stations. This created a serious health concern since two members of my family are severely allergic. We were constantly on edge instead of enjoying the park.
•Ride Wait: The Lazy River along with other ride line took nearly an hour just to get through. Combine that with the park’s already short operating hours, and it severely cut into what we could actually enjoy.
• Ride Closures: Too many attractions were shut down during our visit, which only made the long lines worse for the ones that remained open.

I raised these concerns with Guest Services, but the resolution offered was only a discounted return ticket for $30 per person, which still requires us to spend more money. That doesn’t feel fair considering how much of the day was lost and how serious the safety issues were.

Legoland needs to do much better with ride reliability, guest safety, and basic value for families spending their hard-earned money. Until then, I cannot recommend visiting.
