2 of 37 Best Attractions in Lake Havasu City

Our trip to Lake Havasu City was a very exciting experience. Even tho we were just there overnight we got to see a lot of interesting places to see. The many light houses on the island was very interesting. A beautiful city.

The last time I walked on London Bridge was in May 1967 before it was dismantled and transport to Lake Havasu City by some extraordinarily wealthy man.
I walked on the replacement sometime in 1969 before I moved to Australia.
Seeing it span the canal in the middle of an Arizona desert was astonishing.
Spectacular in its splendor ir sticks out against the modern glitz and glamour of the local pubs and clubs and restaurants in the entertainment area of this baking hot town.
It is an amazing sight by anyone's definition.

A historical place . it was a good experience . Food around here was nice. Nice beach also . you can hang around for some time.

fun daytime and nighttime activity. Lots of British props to enhance your photos with. My favorite were the old British red phone booths.

This was a nice piece of history to learn about. It was amazing when you think about it as it is an original bridge brought from England to Arizona. It is a nice thing to go see should you be in Arizona.

Enjoyed walking across and the view of the river and all boats was great amazing how this was assembled from being sent over from England

Part of a fun trip in western Arizona, checking off things on our bucket list. Walked around the bridge, and the shops and restaurants in the area. Nice local beaches and parks.

Interesting bridge with cool backstory told to us by our guide on the Rubba Duck Safari tour. Well worth visiting. The waterfront here is also worth exploring.

I live in Lake Havasu City so I’m able to see the London Bridge any time I’d like. They recently added colored lights to the bridge, which are beautiful. I’ve only seen them at Christmas time, but I’m told they can pick any colors by use of a smart phone or computer. The picture I’m including is just a still picture, but they can also make the lights dance to music.

A lot of history and very impressive feat to move the bridge that far. to see bullet hole in the bridge and walk under to see the massive undertaking.

10/10! This is a must-see when visiting Lake Havasu City. What a treasure to be able to walk across this bridge surrounded by majestic mountain and lake views. It is a little bit of history in an inconspicuous place and it doesn’t cost a thing to experience! The bridge was expertly rebuilt and even is lined by locks of love. There are a number of places nearby that you can walk to and purchase your own love lock to commemorate your visit. We walked to a nearby Walgreens for a lock but under the bridge there are gift shops that sell locks too.

As an Arizonian, this is not my first visit to London Bridge but my first review. If visiting Lake Havasu make sure you take a peak at London Bridge but to appreciate it you must take the time to learn how it became to be.

When in the area this place is worth checking out.. It's got history. Recommend checking it out when out that way.

Definitely worth checking out the history of how this bridge arrived before going (or going into the visitor center and watching the video inside.) Loved the stories of how it came over. Look for the bullet holes still in the bridge from WW2. Amazing piece of history. And its functional you can drive and walk over it.

My man wanted to see it, was skeptical. Until my first glimpse! Absolutely Fabulous! Would recommend to anyone!

I don't get it right now. I might've in the past. It's like a derived setting where this bridge is its centerpiece. You know I'm kinda down with the whole celebration thing about English culture and friendship with US - this is a good thing about the place. But I mean so you bring someone else's bridge? culture? maybe trash? and scar a beautiful lake by building a kitschy tourism scene around it? The lake wasn't awesome enough in its pristine natural state? I guess everyone loves it though. Hotel prices in the area are insane.

We recently visited the London Bridge in Lake Havasu. It's a beautiful bride and crossing it twice didn't do it justice. Walking the trail and getting a side view, and looking up at it was amazing. The Colorado River is clear and the lake was beautiful. Fairy rides are available to take you across the lake to California and there's also a ferry ride that will take you the entire length of the lake which is spectacular. Why go on a cruise when you could cruise Lake Havasu?

Wow, another great tour from Laughlin, NV. We went to Lake Havasu City on a jet boat and had a great time. The Colorado River is amazing, with water that changes shades depending on your location. There are many birds as well as beautiful cliffs along the route. Once we reached Lake Havasu City we had lunch and walked around shopping. Overall great day on the river with a chance to walk across London Bridge.

I heard that the original London Bridge was at Lake Havasu and just had to go see it. I love historical sights. This did not disappoint. This bridge is at Lake Havasu so not only do you get to see the bridge, you are in a vibrant lake town. The bridge has original markers and lights installed and when lighted at night, it’s even more beautiful. It’s a quick walk across the bridge from the mainland to the island.

We took a 3 hour Sunset Cruise and as part of that our host told us about McCullough (chainsaws) buying the London Bridge from England and having it shipped to Lake Havasu. It has holes in it from WWII and is beautiful. There's a small free walk through museum nearby as well. We were there for the Regada and the boats were a sight to see. Hubby had a variety beer sampler at the MudShark nearby. It's a great place to visit!

It was interesting to walk across the bridge and the view was quite nice even though it was very breezy and a little cool. If you're in the area, this is a must-see.

Take the boat tour and they will give you all the details about how, and who brought the bridge here.

Lots of people, lots of beautiful boats. Great opportunity for people and boat watching. Lots of great places to eat and drink as well.

We were very impressed by all that has gone into moving the bridge here from England and then all the additional work done to create the village around the bridge. On top of that we were lucky enough to witness the last 2 days of the village’s Christmas light display which was absolutely breath taking. Combined with the sounds of Christmas carols the entire experience was simply spectacular.

It's a bridge. It has sidewalks on both sides but no railing to separate pedestrians from the traffic... so it feels just a little dangerous walking across. Looks nice from below with the arches. On both ends, there are fence railings on which people attach padlocks with their own messages of love.

We drove out from Vegas and it was worth the short drive. A cute area with eateries and I think a bar-we couldn't find the tea shop though.
The bridge is stunning and well preserved and a little walk around the lake was refreshing

This is NOT the tower bridge! However, it is nice to see and there is NO fee for looking at it. We were able to view during dinner.

The best way to experience this is to walk it one way then back the other. The grouping of locks is something to see.

I accept that this bridge has some historical interest due to it having been mover from London to Lake Havasu, however, other than that, it is a very ordinary looking bridge.

Not impressive. Just a flat bridge. Not the Tower bridge of London that you think of. Nothing else worth a special trip to see in this barren town.

Alright, so I'm not that enthused with the bridge, really couldn't care if we skipped this but...This is just a really cool area to visit. Neat shops and tons of water activities to take advantage. You really should take the time to visit.

We picked this for a stopping area on the way to Albuquerque for the Annular Eclipse because of the lake. We were a bit disappointed that there were not boats to rent, at least that we could find. On the other hand, there was a real version of London Bridge, picked up and moved piece by piece to this location. The Holiday Inn Express we stayed at was an optimal location to visit the Bridge. At night they light it up with purple lights: very pretty.

Beautiful and beautiful. I really love and enjoyed it. It was a nice trip and I think i will go there again. Maybe with friends

I remember in the sixties the bridge being sold never thinking I would have a chance to visit
A whole area around the bridge has developed for visitors restaurants etc
The bridge itself looks remarkable to say how far it traveled

Last time I was here it wasn't as clean. This time, the stones have all been cleaned and repaired. It is a beautiful romantic structure. Enjoyable. We'll worth the stop.

Love the history and how well done the area surrounding the bridge has been done. Nice fountain, visitors center and shops that add a bit to the experience. Great ice cream and a good restaurant with great burgers or fish and chips.

Lake Havasu is really a tourist town. London Bridge gives it something unique to draw visitors besides the water sports.

Stayed at the Heat hotel and had a very nice view of the bridge. There are locks on the ends of the bridge which is neat. There are lights on at night. Flags flying from both countries. Just a really neat sight to see.

Great place to walk, be prepared for high temperatures in Summer. We did not expect European Bridge in Arizona, it is very surprising and very interesting.

This bridge was designed in 1799 in London and in 1968 Mr McCullough Placed a winning bid for $2,460,000. They started the process of numbering each block before it was disassembled, loaded, then shipped. Passed through the Panama Canal and made it to Long Beach California. It eventually made it to a here and was reconstructed on October 10, 1971 Lake Havasu city became the home of the London bridge. It is a spectacular site.
I WOULD venture over the bridge again.

It's a good place for a quick visit. Boating is a option, go on awesome hikes, great sunset and sun rise views. Lots of fun. Very touristy town so everything is very very expensive. The boat ride was fun but casino was a let down after the las Vegas strip.

It is very rare where you see how insightful one person can be but JP McCulloch had that - fancy paying all that money to move a bridge all that way and reassemble as it was - build the bridge and then make the river/waterway.
But it all worked and the end result is a lovely and peaceful City.

I was on a little side trip and thought I would check this out. What a site,a bridge from London in the middle of the desert!
Lake Havasu is huge and this is for sure a must see on the list, its pretty much on the way to nowhere, but you for sure can spend a day here.

We walked the bridge and read about the history along the way. Lots of shops, restaurants, rentals around the bridge.

If you are driving south from Kingman AZ toward I-10 spend a night here. This is a genuine relic and you would want to see the bridge for the same reason you would want to see the Mona Lisa. Nothing special but nothing like it. There are lots of good places to eat and the lake is all yours to enjoy for a day or a few. Prices are a bit on the high side but for a good relaxation, Lake Havasu City is just as good as Lake Mead.

We enjoy the London Bridge area. There are quite a lot of things to do. We spent 2 days there. We walked across the bridge, looked over the water and the pretty area. We explored the many parks and walked alongside the lake. We ate at a few of the restaurants. Even though we don’t gamble we rode the ferry to the casino and back again. There are shops to buy souvenirs. Ended up the day with a few cocktails and relaxing at an outdoor restaurant, enjoying the beautiful weather.

Walked around and on the bridge. Many shops and places to get something to eat or drink or to just sit and watch.

It’s not the bridge that we like but everything else near and around the bridge that makes London unique. Big Ben, buckingham palace, and numerous other landmarks that we did not have time to explore. Just two days in London my children learned to speak with English accents.

It is fascinating to see the bridge in this american town. A great piece of history how it was brought piece by piece to the US and re built. A great thing to see if you are in the area.

Love the bridge. Always meet someone special there. Its so pretty. People are friendly. I check out the candle shop for new items, the staff in these shops are friendly!!!

Interesting to have a historical item like the London Bridge is a small community as a point of interest. Traffic pattern pretty strange but city designer / planner(s) have done a pretty good job of making that area interesting for visitors.

I do not get the fascination many people exhibited for this bridge. It is surreal to think it once spanned the Thame river in London.

This is a review about Lake Havasu City in general.
This is a really pretty town, there are plenty of restaurant and shops here, I spent a few hours here having lunch and a walk around the waters edge. I am from the UK so I was interested in the bridge, but only as part of a day I had already planned.
I stopped at a couple of other points along the way back north as there is some very pretty scenery here.
Would recommend if you're in the area.

We had a great time visiting the London Bridge. The visitors center has a great video on how the bridge came to Lake Havasu and how it has helped the town become what it is today.

Not sure why the 'locks of love' have been removed, but still great story and character add interest to the Lake Havasu and channel area.

This historic bridge is beautiful. It was purchased by McCulloch and they numbered each block before disassembling it in London as it was sinking. They put it back together the same way it was in London over the channel. You must see it.

A must visit if you are in the area. A beautiful bridge all the way from London. Rebuilt many years ago and totally unspoilt.
Plaques on display informing you of when it was built and why etc.
Alternate English and American flags displayed all along the bridge.
Many Padlocks fastened on the end of the bridge by tourists.
Situated next to the beautiful lake, and pretty gardens.
Kept well, No rubbish or graffiti to be seen. Pay a visit. You won’t be disappointed the views of the lake and mountains are spectacular

Nice place to take the family for a day of fun. Few souvenir shops, restaurants and boat rentals! There’s also boat tours. Just make sure to call ahead to make reservations as they get booked quickly!

Everyone is attracted to this bridge, but it’s really not a big deal and it doesn’t look amazing or anything. There is a nice walking path on both sides.

Take a slow drive over the bridge and imagine you are in London ( a bit hard to do given the desert surroundings). It is a short trip so turn around and go back over before stopping in at one of the local businesses nearby.

I drove over it. I boated under it. It’s a bridge. I get that it came over from England and all that, it it is still just a bridge and not a particularly beautiful one at that.

Walk across the London Bridge! A fun attraction, and the walk along the waterway is beautiful. Definitely worth a stop.

The backstory of London Bridge is fascinating, the bridge itself is interesting only because of the story behind it. If you are expecting it to be an artistic piece of architecture you will probably be disappointed.
There is a tour by boat. During this Covid pandemic we did not want to be packed in a boat with a lot of other people, so this review is based on reading about the bridge, driving over it and just looking at it. The tour itself would probably be very informative. However, the tour will not change the structure, which is interesting but not worth driving out of the way to see.

As ever, a wonderful day in London, London Bridge, historical and fun.
I could stand there all day and take in the sights and sounds of London Bridge, surrounded by the great historical past.

The London Bridge was dismantled in London England and shipped to Lake Havasu for reconstruction. It is worth visiting the London Bridge and the museum.

Took a walk under and on the bridge to see all the beautiful character of this icon. You really feel you could be walking over the Thames River in London.

This is a historical bridge as there has always been a bridge here since 43 AD.
It is not as flashy as the Tower Bridge but is part of a famous nursery rhyme. It has seen many hardships during its lifetime like a Viking attack, Fire of London and 13th century ice damage. No wonder it was falling down again and again and needed so much repair and replacement. There used to be several houses, shops and even a church on the older version. Plus there were charges on carriages crossing it during the 13th century. There have been many bridges built here over the years. The current one was inaugurated in 1973. It was designed by Lord Holford and inaugurated by Queen Elizabeth II. It is a box girder bridge. Interestingly its predecessor bridge was sold to an American who got it totally dismantled, each granite piece counted and marked and then shipped and trucked to Arizona where it was reinforced by steel and reassembled in Lake Havasu City. The current bridge has historical lamp posts which were built out of melted down cannons captured from Napoleon’s army during the Battle of Waterloo.

This is one of those things that you have to say you have been to. I have been to London several times & this looks like a London Bridge. There are several places to park at for free on both ends & you can take photos or stroll on the bridge. I am glad I came here.

The Bridge that is in London which is London Bridge, *see photo, Is NOT the one you think it is. The old one was removed when it started FALLING DOWN. T

Great place to see. Some Nice shops under the Bridge. With all kinds of trinkets that make great Gifts. Restaurants to go to.
But you need to Stay until 6:45 or Sunset for the lights to come on. The it Really awesome to see all the Shoppes decorated. With some Synchronized to 🎼 music. There are Tours, boat Cruises, seadoos to rent. So if you can stay there for for thanksgiving one day. There’s plenty to do. If you do anything walk across the London Bridge either during the day or night. And just like in pairis they have a gate to put your love lock on. ( look up love locks in Paris) enjoy.

Visit the NW side of bridge for landscaping/shops. Take photos of the signs and bridge, shop and eat out. You can add a lock to the chain roping at the end of the bridge.

Viewing the London Bridge and reading about its history was very interesting to us. The bridge is a working bridge with cars and people going back & forth. They have the American flag & the British flag flying over the bridge. Glad we had the opportunity to walk around the area & view the bridge & Lake Havasu.

Loved it. Great view with a wonderful & interesting history. Lots to do and see all arond it too. There are lots of tours there, good food /drink, many shops too.

Love how this came to havasu. Great place to walk around. Good weather most of the time. I even live here.

Walked the bridge and spent time in the Village. The Visitor’s Center has lots of pictures and history surrounding the relocation of the London Bridge.

Site to see in desert. At night all lit up. Shops and restaurants on both sides of bridge. You ca; drive across, no charge.

I stop at London Bridge 3 or 4 times a year Almost always something going on there. If nothing going on you can always people watch. Big big spring break area. Been there in the summer and slip is so full of boats you could walk from one side to the other and never get wet Best of all it’s free. Not much that you can see and do for free anymore.

This has got to be one of the most amazing and creative stories ever. Go see the London Bridge in Lake Havasu City and take the walking tour, if possible. Its an unforgettable experience. Thank you Jan!!!

If you want a fun place to walk around and check out the restaurants and shops this is your place. Interesting history in this bridge.

Just because we were in the area we decided to go down to the London Bridge Area. It has great history. We had seafood and walked the boardwalk. It's a cute little area mimicking London. It is definitely worth stopping if you are nearby for shopping, dining, and seeing the London Bridge.

Enjoy walking under bridge on cool nights. Wish more lighting however past the Casino pier to rentals. Fell twice walking dog in stroller it's so dark. Antique lights would help.

A bit of history! The original London Bridge was purchased by a millionaire from Arizona, disassembled and shipped to the USA and re-assembled over a channel in Arizona.
Lots of kitzy souvenirs and shops & restaurants built around the attraction.

London, England put this heavy, sinking artifact on the market. It was, at the time, the most recent iteration of the necessary span joining the North and South Banks of the River Thames. It was built between 1824 and 1831 and ended up being shipped to Arizona via the Panama Canal. What cost about $2.5 M to purchase ended up costing an additional $5 M to disassemble, recarve, and reassemble.
The heavy granite blocks needed to be shaved down before being attached to a hollow metal skeleton. But the bones of this stone arch bridge look as good as new, better even, than it ever has. But for us, the frosting on this cake was the story behind the lamp posts on the bridge.
Napoleon was defeated by the English and his cannons were left to rust on the beach. The iron was "recycled" into the lamp posts (one cannon per lamp post) and became a part of the bridge when it opened in 1831. So, touch the post and feel a part of history (I think that is pretty awesome).
The style of the post depicts what is commonly referred to as "Baroque Dolphins" (I am including a picture of one from a fountain in Aix-En-Provence, France for a point of reference). This became an often imitated stylistic element and most of the River Thames bridges and walkways contain these dolphin/sturgeon fish-like creatures.
Thomas Potter and Sons were the London artistic metal workers tasked with creating these treasures. We saw the name of the manufacturer on the base of the post and decided it merited a little ferreting out for some details.
The plaques, original red London phone booth, lions, fountain, and peripheral adornments surrounding the bridge help put flesh on those bones. Even the tacky (never meant to be permanent) movie-set store/shop fronts add a little schmaltzy character.
Count us as fans of the bridge. We've seen the new one in London (circa 1976) and always looked forward to seeing its predecessor in the desert. We also liked some of the mythology around the bridge (Victorian ghosts, a ghost-bobby, and maybe Jack the Ripper) as well as imagining this bridge having made it through both WW I and II with only a few scratches (and a little soldier-graffiti from the era) to blemish its grand facade.
It is the second-largest tourist draw in Arizona, which is saying a lot: Sedona's Red Rocks would have gotten my vote, as well as the Walnut Canyon Indian Village relics in Flagstaff.

The bridge is neat and knowing it actually was in London, England for quite some time makes it even better. I’ve lived in Arizona for 3 decades and have never been to Lake Havasu or Bullhead City or that particular part of AZ. We purposely took a long way from Tucson to Flagstaff via Lake Havasu to see the bridge and to see the wild donkeys in Oatman. Glad we did, but really no reason to go back. I’ll post a separate review for Oatman (pretty cool place).

You really do have to see it to believe, after learning he the London Bridge is located in the Arizona desert.

This is one of those places that unless you happen to go right by it, is probably not worth going way out of your way for. Don't get me wrong, it is kind of neat, knowing that it once was in London, but this isn't the original London Bridge. That one was built in 1209 and was replaced in 1831 by this bridge. I guess what made our experience not so good was that we came on the Saturday before Easter and there were hundreds of kids and people showing up for an Easter egg hunt. You couldn't hardly move around! I suppose if you wanted to take a boat ride on Lake Havasu or do some other expensive tourist deal then you might stay for awhile. We came, we saw, we left.

Walked around the canal and enjoyed the shops. T-Shirt shop very nice - single owner and she makes the T-shirt herself. Fun time

Beautiful place to visit. Interesting that the bridge was brought from England. We enjoyed the village and a walk along the river. The mac & cheese place was great. The Christmas lights are awesome!

The London Bridge was brought over piece by piece from London and put back together piece by piece here in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. It is a major tourist attraction with people from all over the world coming to see it.

You arrive at the English Village. Walking up, you see the water fountain flowing with water. There are plenty of places to eat and enjoy the area. Everything from a quick bite to a more relaxed dinner. Watching the boats going under the London Bridge. Seeing it at night is magical as well.

This is a must see when in Lake Havasu City. We parked at the Visitor Center and walked the walkway in both directions and really enjoyed it. The bridge is stunning and the history is very interesting.

What's not to like? It was brought over and re-assembled piece by piece. The owner thought he was buying the Tower Bridge. It's a fun story and cool bridge.

Travelling from Las Vegas to Blythe we thought that London Bridge in Lake Havasu would be a worthwhile stop en-route. Lake Havasu is a pretty town and it's amazing that this 'old' bridge once spanned the Thames in dear o'l Blighty. Seeing it in this desert town seemed really strange but it didn't look out of place at all. There are several bars and shops nearby and you can take cruises out on the lake. Mr McCulloch most have known that this bridge would be ideal for Lake Havasu and I understand the myths that he thought he was buying Tower Bridge which this is clearly not. In my opinion Tower Bridge wouldn't have worked due to it's size and I think London Bridge was the right purchase for this town to cross the lake. Series 3 of Auf Wiedershen Pet (British comedy-drama series) makes excellent TV and watching that programme and seeing this bridge, you get a real understanding of Mr McCulloch's ambition for Lake Havasu.........Well worth the time to visit! Just wish we spent longer in this beautiful town, but time has it's limits.......

We are from uk so had to see it. It looks very odd here and although nice to see. Ridge close up the area around it is pretty ratty theme park. St least it’s free

Beautiful place to visit, great to see a piece of history, plenty to see and do around the area too. Only downside, not one fast charger for EV’s anywhere in the city, very odd considering it’s A) a tourist destination and B) it’s proximity to California. We came all the way from Phoenix in an EV and was almost stranded in Lake Havasu City.

We stopped here en route from CA to AZ. The place is a bizarre mashup between England and SoCal Vibes. Imagine listening to the Beach Boys while eating bruschetta and looking at London Bridge. Unless you're into water sports, an hour is all you need. The visitor center has a little museum/gift shop manned by a kind gentleman, a smattering of shops and restaurants, including what is apparently the world's best mac'n'cheese, ice cream & boba, and a couple of bar & grille type places.

This Lake Havasu City's biggest landmark. Thousands of people come here to this bridge. It is a great opportunity to teach people a little bit of history.
The area around the bridge is called the Channel. There are shops and restaurants for people to explore.

The London Bridge is a fun place to visit and learn some history. There are shops and restaurants all around. There are easy-walking paths along both side of the channel cut under the bridge. Fun to hang out and watch passing boats as well. There is an easy-walking path out on the island with views of some of the area replica lighthouses.

Make sure you visit the Visitor's Center to get a full appreciation of the history of the bridge. Then enjoy walking around the area along the river. It's very well done with decent souvenir shops, bars and restaurants. Most have outdoor patios and the views are enjoyable.
We were there early in January and the buildings were covered with Christmas lights. It was so beautiful we went there three nights to enjoy the colorful displays.

Lots to do, super friendly, very patriotic, neat shops and food. Visitors center was very helpful. Went to a free concert under the bridge; loved it.

We enjoyed the water front walking path with it shops and restaurants. Lots to see and do and the bridge is close to hotels, food and entertainment.

strange to see the famous london bridge in the middle of the arizona sand. parking can be a bit of a problem in high season but worth it. they did a great job of putting it back together.

Honestly wasn’t expecting much. Just a bridge. But the whole landscape around it is very nice and fun! Palm trees, shops, restaurants, and they even had decorations on the bridge, itself! So glad my trip took me through the town!

I vaguely remember hearing on the news when the London Bridge was shipped to and placed in Lake Havasu. Now I am glad to have finally gotten to see it. The bridge is sight worthy, but the park & shopping area built around it are equally inspiring. Fortunately, we had great weather for walking around. About 3 days and two states later I saw an alert that the temperature in Lake Havasu hit triple digits.
But still, this is unique and worthy of a visit (and NO admission)! While good for watching sunrise, I would think watching the sunset there would be even better.

Interesting place to go see. You can walk or drive over the bridge. Underneath the bridge there are several small restraunts and bars. There are also a bunch of places on either side. Also a lot of interesting history about this bridge. It's worth a couple hours of your time to go check out.

The London bridge is cool and then there’s the marina right there where there is restaurants a bar and places to rent jet skis definitely recommend for romantic date or bringing family!

Lake Havasu was less than 90 minutes away from Laughlin, Nevada. My hubby and I decided to go for a nice drive and check out the lake and the London Bridge. There were shops and restaurants around the lake. It was great to see this well managed, beautiful lake and a historic bridge that both tourists and locals get to see and enjoy in our State of Arizona.

We certainly liked the view and driving over the bridge on several occasions. It is definitely presented well from a tourist standpoint and an enjoyable one time thing to do and see when traveling the area. Our photo was taken from the nearby bottom walkway.

Very unique experience. A lot of history and interesting stories. A lot to say about chainsaws. Who knew!

very cool bridge to walk across and under ,,and knowing the history and how it was transported and rebiult in havasu is very interesting

Interesting to actually see it, walk across it & think of all the famous figures who probably did before you.

I dont care how many times I am in Havasu, one of my favorite places to make a stop at, is the London Bridge. The history is amazing, its a beautiful bridge, great to walk across and to do some shopping in the shops around it... especially on a beautiful day.

Not many destination spots in Lake Havasu City other than water sports activities. Now I've seen it, don't need to see it again 😉

Top tourist attraction ,many beautiful shops and restaurants.interesting history of the bridge ,amazing view of Havasu lake .

The entire town of Lake Havasu is family friendly but the bridge is a fun place to take the kids. You can cross the bridge and take the kids to the park if you’re looking for things to do that don’t involve boating. The bridge itself has an interesting history that’s worth checking out while you’re in town.

Lake Havasu is a great place to visit, it’s so relaxing , and has so much History, around the lake there are beautiful boutique stores and great restaurants.
Also a Brewery, highly recommended

Interesting story behind how the bridge ended up here.
Bottom line interesting bridge surrounded by all the typical tourist souvenir "stuff.
Glad we went but no need to return.
BObK

Nice walk on a beautiful bridge Thanks to UK for providing a piece of their " world" with us ! Enjoyable walk on it as well

Imported brick by brick from London in the early 1970s. A pretty cool site in Lake Havasu joining the mainland and Island. An old UK phone box and postbox are situated nearby. The whole area has been rejuvenated with some bars and restaurants if you like that sort of thing.

Was lovely to see where the old bridge went to and wow it looks fabulous was nice to walk over and see both flags side by side lots of English themes around beautiful but very hot place to visit so glad we went to see it

London Bridge is awesome. They have places around it where you can look at bridge from under it, beside it, & walk over it. Amazing how they rebuilt it here. They have locks along the bridge in certain places. We weren't quite sure the purpose of them, but it was really a nice touch.

We had a great visit to Lake Havesu. The bridge is beautiful and very interesting. We took a cruise with Sunset Charter and tour and Captain Kenny gave a lot of history and was great.

Short bridge to walk across with free access to parking. Amazing to think they brought it over in pieces from England and reassembled it crossing a channel in Arizona. Great views and a fun photo opportunity.

Went to Lake Havasu for a short stay and enjoyed the history of this location. The restaurants and hotels are well worth it. really had an eventful 2 days. Would make this a destination just to get away.

Area around and under bridge had improved greatly since last visit. We ate at pet friendly outdoor restaurant that had large dog in front. Can't miss it. We brought in 2 Yorkshire terriers
The server brought stainless steel Bowl and treats
Friendly service good food
Fish and chips. Would come again

This has grown a lot since my first visit. I saw this when they first brought it over . Still had the numbers on it. Also only one restaurant, an old English pub, that was it. Now there is so much to see. Allow a full Day just to explore all they have to offer, Great day always.

Staff at the front desk and restaurant were wonderful. Room was clean. Needs a little updating. Would definitely go back.

Pretty cool sight! They have old phone booths by the bridge and everything has been very well kept up on. Lake is great!!

Interesting history with reconstructed bridge, from London, where no river initially existed. Several restaurants and shops near base of bridge. Not sure about significance of licks at end of the bridge.

Interesting; glad we saw it. Not sure I would make a trip to see it again. Fun area around there though.

History of the bridge is so interesting. Village is well done, clean with lots of shops and restaurants to choose from.

This is my husbands long time home and heard so many great things about it. Finally got to visit it and its absolutely beautiful. I know he was a big disappointed in how much it has grown under the bridge and I have to admit that they have over done the boat rental to close to the bridge as an avid photographer it was hard to get beautiful shots of this area due to all the "clutter" we went during the boat parade and I couldn't get any good photos it was crowded but a great experience to say the least! Loved the lil shops and even had ice cream and enjoyed watching the birds.

Everyone should, by now, know about how the developer bought a broken-down decrepit bridge from London and had it moved, piece by piece, here to erect in this desert oasis ("a fertile spot in a desert, where water is found.") and the dream became a reality. Happily so, for this piece of desert paradise.
History is one aspect. The lampposts are melted down steel from Napoleon's cannons and cast in London, The name of the foundry is at the base of the posts. Lots of history here, even a ghost or two is said to haunt the underside of the bridge, watch out for Jack or any of the ladies.
In the bright sunlight and from up above, the bridge offers amazingly beautiful views down into the channel and the surroundings. And, land-side, the views of the bridge supports are a thing of beauty.

Nursery rimes London bridge is falling down has made London bridge more exiting
a dream come true but nothing exiting about.
For children and all must once pass by but nothing exiting it's like any old bridge opens in middle
More a marketing then realty

So excited to see this after almost 35 years, We drove over it and walked beside it. Its a neat piece to photograph and read about.

We were in the area and thought that we'd take some time to explore this area and we are so glad that we did. I have a friend who is from the UK so I took plenty of pictures to send to her and she loved them since she remembered crossing the London Bridge when it was "over the pond". There's some restaurants there along with plenty of things to see and do and we've added the boat tours to our list for next time. Well worth visiting!!

Great place to take the kids. Cute shops and lots of different restaurants to choose from! Nice to walk around and see the water and see everybody enjoying the lake!

It’s a smaller bridge then you might think. It’s history it quite fascinating. I only came to Lake Havasu to see the bridge.

So, this is the real London Bridge... not sure why it's HERE, but here it is. Walk across it and you can say you walked across a piece of British history here in the ol' US of A.

A section of the London Bridge located in Lake Havasu City, Arizona celebrates its 50th Anniversary... what a fascinating history - it was disassemble in London & resurrected exactly the same brick by brick!

An iconic symbol of history and architectural brilliance, stands proudly over the River Thames, weaving tales of centuries gone by. Having recently visited this timeless marvel, I am compelled to share the awe-inspiring experience that awaits those who venture to explore its grandeur.
From the moment you set eyes on London Bridge, its commanding presence leaves an indelible impression. The current structure, completed in 1973, is a modern incarnation that pays homage to its predecessors while seamlessly blending with the contemporary skyline. The clean lines and elegant simplicity of the design showcase the bridge's commitment to both form and function.
Crossing the bridge offers a panoramic view of the Thames River and the city beyond, providing a picturesque vantage point for capturing the essence of London. The juxtaposition of historic landmarks and modern architecture creates a visual tapestry that reflects the city's rich and diverse history.
Beneath the surface, the bridge conceals a treasure trove of stories. Visitors can delve into the history of its predecessors, each with its own unique narrative. The medieval bridge, immortalized in the famous nursery rhyme, and its successor, the Victorian-era bridge, have all played integral roles in shaping London's identity.

We detoured here on our way to Vegas. Had a hard time finding a place to park and then how to even get to ot

The London Bridge In Lake Havasu is amazing. The history and the story telling about how and why it was purchased and moved to Lake Havasu, Arizona is quite interesting. It was purchased by Robert McCulloch for $2.46m. Then it was disassembled in London in 1967. Each piece was numbered as it was dismantled and shipped to the USA. Today the bridge is beautiful and very well maintained. People from all over the world come to see this beautiful bridge that connects the mainland to the island in Lake Havasu, Arizona.

Beautiful clear gorgeous day. Smiles all around. Clean and spotless. Hopefully do the walk every day. Such a trip

You can certainly win some trivia games just knowing that London Bridge is in Lake Havasu! You can go to the base area which has some shops and such or walk/drive across. Good free stop.

Those granite blocks have an amazing story to tell! The tour boat operators provide great information as to why, how and when the bridge came to Lake Havasu, and the museum's display rounds out the story. The visitor's center also has great information too. The excellent walking paths along the channel offer great views from both sides, and of course you can walk and drive over it too. To say Mr. McCullough and his team had a great idea would be an understatement. The only downside in the area is that the shops in the English Village are suffering economic woes and need some sprucing up.

This is an amazing story of how the London bridge became part of Lake Havesu. It's large and it's beautiful.

not much to see, its just a bridge, very pretty at night
not much to see, its just a bridge, not much to see, its just a bridge

We stopped at the Tourist Visitor Center to pick up literature on the bridge, not realizing the bridge and a pretty strolling area was right behind the center! We took about an hour walking along the shoreline, taking photos under and around the bridge, and checking out some of the souvenier shops along the way. We came during the off season (February) so it was chilly and breezey, but no crowds and everything was open. We enjoyed stopping by, and recommend it to others.

Such history in our very own backyard ❤️ Lots of things to do, see, eat, drink, etc. Fun getaway weekend- haven’t been here since I was a kid. Good fun. Nice to see kids running around in the sun/water with fishing poles instead of cell phones.
Loved to have taken a lock to add at the bridge. Definitely next time 🔐

We passed by chance, we found that it is a bridge, nothing more, the fact that they named it after the London Bridge does not make it more beautiful. In my humble opinion it is certainly not worth going further to see it

The history of this bridge and it’s being moved from England is fascinating and worth learning more about. It is beautiful and if you enjoy fantasies feats this should be one on your list. Well worth the trip.

I strolled across the bridge early this morning hoping to see the full moon set and the sunrise at the same time. It was perfect! You should Visit early in the morning to watch the sunrise. Definitely worth it!! It is so peaceful and beautiful!!

The bridge is over rated tourist attraction. The water front is honky tonky tourist stuff. Indifferent food places, lines. Lots of places to rent boats, jet skis, and other water toys. Noisy with boom boxes and boat motors revving up. Wanted to see a store with mugs, magnets etc with family names. Couldn’t find any of mine— either first or last names. Disappointing.

Beautiful! Filled with history and beauty, this gorgeous piece of architecture is worth seeing, especially if you know the history of the bridge.

This stop was not on our itinerary but after seeing the road sign for it we decided to stop and check it out. I remember back in 1971 when the Bridge was finally opened for tourists. It took a couple of years for it to be dismantled, packed and shipped over through the Panama Canal and reassembled in Lake Havasu City. It's now a lovely little park that is free to enjoy. Lots of little snack and souvenir shops and a cooling place to sit along beautiful blue Lake Havasu. There is even a little British souvenir shop and tourist information. A nice place to take a break along the road.

there is not much to say about a bridge, but think that this was in London years ago, is worth the visit, walking or by car, all the surroundings are great, sunrise and sunset is really breathtaking

Beautiful at night with Holiday decorations. We drove the boat under the bridge and it was calm and enjoyable.

We really enjoy the small town feel and friendliness of the area. It’s usually a nice and relaxing time for us. We really enjoyed staying at the Nautical while we were there, this time.

Located next to the London Bridge Resort.
A special find in the Arizona desert and a place you should consider visiting. There are many water activities to consider here. Bring a Lock to add on the bridge gate railing. Many people have put their locks on the bridge.

When you see it driving up to it wow! Then you can park and walk across it, but standing on it and knowing that a man bought it, had it taken apart brick by brick and shipped back to the state of Arizona and then put back together when there was just a dream to someday have water running under it again in a desert type setting. This is very impressive to just think about that.

Take time to listen or learn about this history of this quaint bridge which REALLY was the "London Bridge" transported to the USA.

fun to experience. you can walk or drive over the bridge. if you want to explore the lighthouses, i suggest either walking or taking a pickup truck due to the terrain.

When you think about London Bridge, the first thing that comes to mind is not usually Arizona. But yes, this bridge is in Arizona by way of London. This is repurposing at its finest and it is such a great bridge and fits right in with the rest of lake Havasu. This was actually shipped there granite by granite piece. Each piece was numbered before de-construction and put back together piece by piece. Hard to imagine that is has been there for 48 years now!

Amazing that they shipped this all the way from England and rebuilt it. Definitely fits well where it was placed

Fascinating story about how it got here, the man behind it, and how the area has flourished because of this crazy idea.

Took beautiful pictures under the bridge & next to the famous red British phone booth. Walking on the bridge & enjoyed the view of the Colorado River. Took pictures next to the locks on the bridge. Great place to bring kids on a hot day and enjoy the water activities. Drove from Vegas to the place for 2hr 30 minutes.

It's iconic, it's London Bridge. A great job has been done in integrating a piece of England into the desert 5000 miles away, init is almost seamless. Not too sure about the English Village built around it. It smacks of an area someone thought represented England but never actually visited. It was 100 degrees the day we visited though so very un-English weather.
This attraction is definitely worth a visit, but it is slightly odd that an area of bars and restaurants chooses to close at 9.30pm when the night is still young. Now that is not typical England!

When visiting Lake Havasu City, you are "obligated" to look at the London Bridge. The story behind it is pretty cool, so having it here in Arizona is what makes it worth seeing. But it is simply a bridge, with traffic driving across it. You can walk beneath the bridge and watch boats go by. There are a few souvenir shops nearby, and while I was there, a person was playing guitar underneath the bridge, hoping for some donations.

Aside from the Grand Canyon, the London Bridge is the largest tourist attraction in the state. It is amazing to see this structure rebuilt stone by stone in the Arizona desert and it is beautiful to admire. The sun has bleached away soot and pollution that came with the bridge. A little piece of Britain in the US.

London Bridge is located in a great spot with things to do and visit around it plus your options.
Great stroll across the bridge and back.
Historical link to England.

Surrounded by tourist restaurants, souvenir shops, and tour boats. It’s weird this bridge being in the middle of nowhere, but it cool to see.
There’s a red London telephone booth underneath - so it’s a fun experience, albeit tacky & very touristy.

I was very disappointed when we first went over the bridge. It is a bridge not much different then the old bridges at home. But is gets points for the Visitors Center and the promenade along the lake. The shops are pretty good and we stopped and ate at one of the restaurants. She sat there for an hour and it was great. That was worth the trip.

We took a day trip to London bridge hoping to get on one of the many boat trips offered. We arrived on a sunny 65f. afternoon. Must have been too cold for boat rides as none of them had enough passengers to carry on. Disappointed, we strolled around instead, lovely place to walk about. Many souvenir shops and coffee shops and nice scenery. Best to check the boat tours first to avoid disappointment.

Especially meaningful because they remember the Bridge from London. The Bridge is well preserved & presented. The visitors’ center is informative & helpful-great staff.

The 1830 London Bridge is rather large and well placed. It is an easy walk to the bridge for inspection and picture taking. Also plenty of retail shops around and friendly service by all. Recommended!

Well worth a visit to the bridge. A nice little info center next door with pictures and blueprints of the bridge. A short movie was playing that tells the history. Great place for photos!

We visited on May 11,2019.We had lunch at Barley's which offers a great view of bridge while enjoying your meal. The history on how bridge got there and is quite interesting.

beautiful once in a lifetime view
very clean and modern yet still historic
couldnt recommend more...

My first time in Lake Havasu. The heat was unbearable but the London Bridge is beautiful- Right in the heart of the city. Cute shops and restaurants under the bridge.

A wonderful piece of world history. So amazing to be able to walk up to this bridge, touch it, walk over it, and realize it’s historical significance. We went there before all the shops were open which meant there were very few people around. My advise to all is to duplicate our timing.

When I saw the sign about London bridge, I thought it was a gimmick and didn’t realize it was the actual London bridge moved from London! No matter how much I read about it - it’s still seemed a little unrea! But, it’s true. Take the time to go into the local visitor centre to learn more about how the move occurred. And if you’re able kayak underneath it and you’ll see were World War II fighter planes shot at the bridge. Very cool. All in all - a must see site to spend some time around while in Lake Havasu - it’s really a main reason why the city came to be.

The fact that it is in Arizona is an amazing story which you can read in the visitor Center or on Sunset Cruise’s Copper Canyon trip

Great to see the old London bridge looking almost clean after all these years in the desert sun .its a must see for us tourists

I walked & drove over it a couple of times, steep staircase is a challenge going up after walking on the paths below. Enjoyed the exploration.

Just the fact that someone decided to bring a bridge from the UK to SW Arizona is worth getting bf there to see it. Not an impressive beige per se, but the background of the story is just incredible.

Love the London bridge. It's so beautiful. When you walk over it at night and sunset just a gorgeous view. My older kids loved to watch the boats

Fun place and nice to walk around, take the fairy to the Casino, and enjoy a good time.
Walk on the London bridge, or eat some good carne asada fries. You can’t go wrong here.

So the story goes some rich American guy bought the bridge and had it shipped over drone from England to lake Havasu. And even paid for re routing part of the lake so it could flow under the bridge. Except he thought he’d bought TOWER Bridge not plain London Bridge. Not sure how true it all is but I like the thought of someone in the council office in London was laughing loudly when the cheque came in.
It’s cute to see and the little shopping mall is quaint and very clean. You can get boat rides and walk along the banks under the bridge. Glad I went. Lake Havasu area looks lovely and well kept.

While visiting Laughlin, NV we decided to make a road trip to the London Bridge in Lake Havasu, AZ. What a great trip. The drive is easy and has some beautiful scenery.
Lake Havasu is a beautiful little town that grew up around The Bridge. The area around the bridge is well maintained and contains shops, restaurants and places to rent boats, jet skies and bikes.
The bridge is amazing. Just the fact that it was moved from London to Arizona is amazing. But it is also a working bridge that crosses the river. It was rebuilt brick by brick 50 years ago and looks beautiful.
We were there in the off season but the area is still busy and shops are open. The water sports rentals were not open on our visit, too cold.
This area is a must see when in the area
Beautiful town, great water activity and The Bridge!

It’s the London Bridge, in Arizona. Kinda cool in a weird way. Cute shops, a few good restaurants. Interesting history how it ended up in AZ.

The bridge is the center of the London Bridge walkway area, with restaurants and shops. You can add a padlock to the collection at either end of the bridge.

Fun place to visit when you are in the area. Shops food entertainment. Watercraft rental or lake tours

Very cool if you’re into history a must see. Lots of great places to eat and shop close by easy walking distance to other tractions.

Definitely worth a visit. Go to the Visitor Center and get the information about it. Very interesting video too in the visitor center.

Drove about 5–6 hours round-trip from Las Vegas just to see this, and it was worth it. The bridge is walkable, and it’s cool to see both the U.S. and U.K. flags on top.
I visited around sunset, and the views were beautiful. There’s a staircase that leads down to the riverwalk, with shops and restaurants nearby. Some boats block the view near the bridge, but walking toward the golf course area is great for photos. Definitely worth a stop.

I loved how the village and the bridge were decorated with lights for the holidays. So festive! It is equally fun to drive or walk across the bridge.

The hotels and resorts makes this bridge an excellent sight along with boats from retirees and young adults enjoying this resort.

Wonderful filled my heart with joy all the Christmas lights.. loved the town with the show of that lights dance with the music very lovely.

I didn't get into the history of it too much, but it's obviously a significant bridge for the city. Me and my family walked by it.

Great Attraction----BUT BEWARE of road traps
Review of London Bridge
Reviewed 1 week ago
Recently went to Lake Havasu to see the London Bridge with my family.
While we loved the bridge , city sights and our restaurant chooice Shugure's, we were NOT welcome by the local police with open arms.
Upon entering the city from HWY 10 on HWY 95 we were stopped by the police for speeding (?). Officer Plunkett stopped us at the exact the point the speed limit changed from 65 to 45. I was clocked at going 59..
When I explained to the officer that I wasn't given a chance to slow down from the posted 65 to the posted 45; . I was an out of towner and didn't know the local speed change, his reponse was I don't want to hear from out of towners who think they know it all. He even told my kids to pipe down.
While at lunch I was told by locals at Shugure's he is known for pulling out of towners and snow birders over.
Not the friendliest welcome to Lake Havasu.

There have been several London Bridges. The bridges were necessary for people to be able to cross the Thames. This was originally called the "New" London Bridge. It was built in 1831 and dismantled in 1967. The Romans built the first bridge. There were several Early Medieval bridges. In 1066 William the Conqueror rebuilt the bridge. It was destroyed by the London Tornado of 1091. Tornados in London sounds strange but weather and the climate is always fluctuating. The "Old" London Bridge was built in 1209 and replaced in 1831, with the "New" London Bridge. The "old" bridge had business built on it and at the South Gate House became the scene of a grisly traditions of hang the severed heads of traitors on pikes. The first was William Wallace. Wallace story was developed into a movie with the title of "Braveheart". So historians think it puts him in a better light than he deserves. I leave that up to you to decide. People felt the ides to sell the bridge wa a joke, but it was put up for sell and a rich U.S. oilman bought it. The bridge was taken apart and each piece was numbered, packed and moved though the Panama Canal to California where it was transported to and assembled at Lake Havasu City, Arizona. So it is just a bridge, but a bridge with a colorful history.

This was a very nice resort. Our room was fantastic. Two bedroom, two bathrooms, kitchen, living room, roof top balcony, first floor balcony. Clean friendly environment. Plenty of things to do.

The list noteworthy feature in the city. It has great history and a unique story. Extremely hard to miss. It’s like the entire town was built around it.

My friend and I decided to go on a day out from Vegas and we decided to visit London Bridge at Lake Havasu. The area is great with lots of little shops restauarants and bars. As I am from the UK, it was also great to see the bridge as it was moved from London before I ever saw it. Lake Havasu is a great place to visit as well.

Great to see the bridge that was brought over piece by piece and rebuilt here in Lake Havasu. Their is a nice walkway around it and over it. The Colorado River is beautiful.
Lots of little shops and boat rentals as well.
The Bridge is the second most visited place beside the Grand Canyon.

We were in Vegas for a week and had enough gambling so took a side trip here and stopped at Laughlin on the way back to the airport before a late night flight. It was about 2.5 hour drive from Vegas and little more than an hour to Laughlin. We enjoyed our time viewing the bridge and ate at one of the restaurants under the bridge. The Bridge ans shops are very nice and Lake Havasu is scenic. I remember hearing about this back when I was young and was glad I got to see it.

So much fun to think that I’m walking over this great historical bridge! Such a great view from the bridge as well. This is a wonderful setting and I don’t have to cross the Atlantic to see it!

We arrived here Jan. 1st. All the Christmas decorations where still up, including a great light display and huge wreaths. There are many shops and restaurants to visit under and around the bridge, including kayak rentals, power boat rentals and a boat ride that takes you across the lake to a Casino.

Toilet is on a slope! Shower barely has water as all comes out tub hole. Queen couch sofa should be thrown out. Mattress is paper thin and sags in middle.

This whole area has been built around London Bridge with restaurants and shops and fake London telephone boxes, mail boxes and fish and chip restaurants. They are quite pricey but other supermarkets and fast food joints are close by. There is a visitor centre which gave us details on Route 66 and passports for kids to get stamped along the route. The river banks have walkways with souvenir shops and ice cream parlours beside the bridge and pars and fountains which are all very nice. Plenty of free parking and loads of options for a river journey. The London Bridge Resort us right by the bridge with water park etc.

A London bridge in Arizona! Very cool to walk across and below. Plenty to sightsee. Catch lots of good food around I recommend the Barley Brothers Brewery [great beer] and the javelina cantina. We watched a little bit of history and haunted history before our trip to make it more exciting.

I love old architecture so this had to be a stop driving from Vegas to Phoenix. We ate nearby and stopped at the park on the island that the bridge links to.
GPS Coords of Bridge: 34.471732, -114.347414
GPS Coords to park for the bridge: 34.470147, -114.349076

It was interesting to ship a granite bridge from England, by boat and reassemble it on a peninsula. Then cut out the dirt underneath it to turn the peninsula into an island. We enjoyed taking one of the boat tours that operate in close proximity to the bridge. We were there during a slow part of the season so we were not over crowed.

Visited with some friends and family. Good overall experience. Although the weather was a little hot, we still enjoyed.

It offers shade in the day and a really nice view at night. Try to cross early in the day when it’s not as hot.

We came from FL to see London Bridge and what a huge disappointment. We were totally underwhelmed!!!! Even if we were just passing through, it isn’t worth the stop nor the time.

So fun to see a London Bridge in the USA. The pillars were lit up with Christmas lights and it was a very pretty sight. We walked along the quay and marveled at the boats and all that was happening along the water.

It’s ok. Kinda neat. Nothing exceptional but interesting. Nice shops and places to eat nearby. Cool little waterfall park and green area.

There are so many buildings up close to the bridge that you can barely see it. Don’t go out of your way to see this.

Quite a story on how the London Bridge ended up in Lake Havasu. Google it. The bridge is impressive, but needs to be appreciated from below. There are plenty of walkways with restaurants and shops under the bridge. Take advantage of the opportunity.

Beautiful Bridge. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area. The historic London Bridge stands majestically across the canal. There a ferry shuttle to ride across the lake to a casino in California. Lots of water sports and the scenery is breathtaking. There’s a lighthouse tour that exhibits 28 replicas of lighthouses from all over the U. S. You can drive to some and you can locate a couple on the canal walk and state park. A must visit.

Awesome site, amazing history - for the best photo op take a Sunset Tour by boat! You can also view a short video in the visitor center

Great views, shops and restaurants what’s not to love. Definitely worth the trip…not to be missed, spent several days in the area.

Went there for the balloon festival, and had breakfast right next to the bridge. The huge balloons would fly down and touch the water and then lift up to fly across the bridge. Amazing.

It was cool to see the original London Bridge while visiting Lake Havasu. Nice shops and restaurants around it.

Fun to see. Interesting history! Quite the showpiece at night With the lights shining on it. Tour guide explained about the nests and birds nesting there.

Amazing views, lovely to walk over under and around. As well as drive over. Beautiful scenery as well!

So it's a bit more basic than what you may have expected. But does come with a restaurant that sells Fish & Chips, the classic British takeaway meal.
There was a rumor that the buyer thought he was getting Tower Bridge, I mean, why would you go to so much effort to transport an ordinary looking bridge lol

It's remarkable that this bridge actually used to be used in London to cross the river Thames! What incredible vision to purchase it and create this incredible channel here in Havasu. It even has war wounds from WWII. It looks gorgeous at night lit up with the sunset behind it. A must see!

This bridge looks perfect here. Hard to believe it was built for the Thames in London . If you end up going, don't forget to look up to see the many mud wren nests along the underside of the bridge. It's a pretty amazing bridge when you think about the feat of bringing it from London and setting it up all the way over here. The visitors center is a great place to see the pictures and get more information.

It was very hot but we took a stroll anyway. I'm sure there is a better time of the year to visit Lake Havasu and the bridge than in August. It was sooo hot.

When in Lake Havasu, make sure you go to see The real London Bridge. Very interesting how it was brought there piece by piece.
Beautiful

The area is more fun than I thought it would be. The history of Lake Havasu City, it’s developer and the English Village and the bridge are all interesting. I was here for a week and enjoyed the walking tour provided by the visitor center, the English tea at the London Bridge Resort - even the ferry ride across the lake. There are many good restaurants and the State Park has sandy beaches and a lovely dessert garden.

Loved the way they did this; and the area was all decorated for Christmas. But don't go on a Sunday evening. They roll up the sidewalks by 5PM except for the eateries. Still and all it was a lovely stroll, got lots of pics, and had fun. The candle shoppe looked quite interesting, too bad none of the shoppes were open. I hear there is a Ren Faire in the spring. I might just have to come back for that.

Robert McCulloch had a vision that was unbelieveable. Bringing the London Bridge to the desert and what that has become today.

The bridge is just a bridge...the restaurants around are average at best. Beware....it is very hot here in the summer.

Not the most exciting thing to look at but when you red the history of how they took it apart brick by brick and took it over seas and rebuilt it all over again was amazing that someone would do that

In a hot place, yet thanks to Colorado still having a bit of water left in it, this bridge i still relevant. It's a nice bit of history, and a nice comfortable atmosphere to go for a wonder in or spend a nice in one of the hotels that has a view of it and the river. There are times of the year that this is known as a spring break place, it's probably more enjoyable if you don't go during those times lol

There are many ways to appreciate this transplanted historic bridge, from the walks along the beaches that line Bridgewater Channel, to the walk across and view from the bridge itself to the surrounding British shops and fountains and gates. The Visitor Center offers both paid walking tours with a guide as well as a free video of the renovations in this area and a small history museum. It's really pretty fascinating. There is a public restroom. Stairs from the beachfront to the bridge are quite a hike for anyone not in good shape. We really enjoyed our strolls and shopping!

We had a few hours walking around. There are as usual, loads of gift shops. It's a bridge from ol' Blighty, and it's very much cleaner than it would be at home. It's not something i'd go out of my way to do. If you've got a day free, go and have a look and an ice cream.

The London Bridge is such a random, but amazing piece of history to be placed on the desert! Seeing it in person is a great experience. This is a great spot for a photographer! Several places to grab drinks, eats, and rent water toys on and below the bridge.

OK, I came from London and I was still impressed. A great British 'monument' that somehow didn't look out of place in the middle of the desert!

I lived in Phoenix when they rebuild the London Bridge in Lake Havasu City and wondered why they’d go through so much trouble. Later in life I drove passed it every other week for years and saw the population get bigger and bigger and realizes Robert McCulloch took a big chance but it paid off. If you’re on vacation in Arizona, it’s really a good thing to see and the city has lots to offer! But, it’s a hot place in the summer. Visit pubsgrubbeer.com

we can say we saw it. nothing spectacular about the bridge or whats left of the surrounding shops. the area was clean?? just an average experience

Whilst we were staying over one night at Lake Havasu City, we had a few hours to kill. Drive over London Bridge and parked at the carpark. Took some pictures at Bridge as well as having some dinner under the bridge. Nice place to spend an hour or two.

The character of this bridge, which used to span the River Thames in London, England, is beautiful!
Quite the history lesson on who, what, when, where and why. Very interesting.
Area is nice with shops, restaurants, park, beach, resort ... whatever you need. Great day trip.

Beautiful oasis in the desert, comfortable with nice views. Love the kitchenette option when here for a few days.

It was very cool to leave our hotel and walk out and see the magnificent bridge and the beauty around it.

the actual original London bridge here in Arizona
they put it back together brick by brick
they have a hotel named after it

Started my road trip with a visit to Lake Haversu and the old London bridge,it's set in a lovely area and it's not all the bridge as some is in storage so looks a bit short but the old steps are there and it's as you'd remember from London in the 60s.Not all gift shops and food places were open due to 9/11 which is understandable but still well worth a visit

I have wanted to see this bridge see learning of it a decade ago. It is about a three hour drive from Las Vegas but well worth the trip to see it. It was hot the day of our visit so we didn't stay outside long but let me tell you, it is a sight to behold. Just to know the history of Lake Havasu City and how the bridge ended up there is fascinating (I looked it up before arriving). It is best viewed from below and take the time to walk on it and around it. I'll share some of my photos.

I was informed that the bridge is the second most visited tourist attraction in AZ behind the Grand Canyon. When conjuring up thoughts about the bridge you may think of a few towers and other similar features. However, it is a simple flat top roadway over a series of magnificent stone arches set on large pile type supports. The better features of the bridge are seen from below near the pedestrian areas by the shops and restaurants. I found what is more important is learning the history of the bridge in London, who purchase it here in the states and how it was reconstructed, along with the time frame and costs associated with it. I won’t give you any of the details on that and let you discover that from someone local such as the captain on the Sunset Charter & Tour Co. Captain Kenny provided a lot of information during that tour. You can see my review on that elsewhere in TripAdvisor.

We started our road trip in Arizona from Lake Havasu. I'd agree with other reviewers that, unless you are into water sports, there isn't much to do or see other than the bridge. The bridge was much smaller than I expected, but worth the stop.

... and definitely worth seeing. Many oportunities to visit tourist trap “shoppes” are adjacent to it!

Love the history, and to see this wonder in person was amazing. The fact that this bridge was disassembled in London, and then reassembled at Lake Havasu is just beyond belief. Overall just a fun place to visit with beautiful weather and amazing history. Having drinks at Kokomos and watching the boats provides a nice afternoon.

Quite the bridges. Story is great. I was in London last year. Fun history behind the bridge. Weather crummy maybe sunshine tomorrow.

Nice feel to drive on the "London Bridge" in Arizona. It is a short span on a narrow creek of the Lake Havasu. It is worth visiting from the novelty point of view. The lake per se had a lot of boating activity.

Very interesting history of how the bridge came to Lake Havasu. The Bridgewater Channel that goes under the bridge offers a great view. The walking path along the Channel is a great place to people watch and enjoy the views of the water, birds and boats. We enjoy walking along the channel into Rotary Park. Well kept beaches and kid friendly parks are a good place for families.

Definitely a must see if you're in town. They have adequate parking near by. There are a bunch of shops which offer food, beverage, and merchandise on the walk next to and underneath the bridge. If you're looking for boating tours there are multiple options in the marina below the bridge.

This is just a tourist gimmick. It is a flat bridge with arches underneath. If you did not hear it came from London, it is unimpressive. The city is also a speed trap. Police prey on tourists. Visit Lake Mead instead for water activities.

You can’t help but to look in awe and try to figure out how they got this bridge London to Havasu. You can’t miss it right in the middle of the fun stuff in lake havasu

The London Bridge is a beautiful landmark in Lake Havasu City, bisecting the well known boaters hangout The Channel. The area surrounding the bridge is full of restaurants, bars, hotels and condos. It's always jumping with activity and lots to do.

Although it looks a little weird in a desert lake setting, London Bridge is an awesome site. You can view it from all angles or walk across if you wish. The immediate vicinity is rife with souvenir stands, touristy restaurants. View the video in the Visitors Center to learn the interesting story of how it was brought from London to Arizona.

The pick up was on time. The tour guide was excellent and the ride was perfect. This was our first time visiting this area. The boat ride was about 2 hrs to London Bridge. We got to spent about 2 hrs in Lake Havasu then back. It was a perfect tour.

I was surprised by the bridge itself as the area has been well developed and it is a working bridge with car and foot traffic over the bridge. Access from the bridge to the beach area below is available from various access points and the road to the bridge is a main street in the city. The bridge is over a canal area from Lake Havasu with the area well developed with parks walking paths, shops and places to rent boats etc. We were there during the Christmas Season and it was decorated nicely for the season. It was an especially pleasant experience in the evening when all the lights were lite.

Beautiful monument to the bridge from London, recreated in its entirety from the original materials. Simple but beautiful. Maybe not worth the extra drive, but we did it and weren’t disappointed. Got there late, so the restaurants and shops were closed.

The world owes this man of vision a debt of gratitude for his executing this grand (if not perhaps mad) project, both the bridge and the entire city.
However, if one does not immerse themselves in the history of the bridge and what transpired to relocate it to the Arizona desert, it does become, "just another nice bridge".
In our case, it allowed us to check off the bucket list "walked across both London Bridges".
Perhaps not worthy of a specific visit from afar, but if a traveller is actually passing through the South-West AZ area which in that case should make a visit a must-do. Especially as it is surrounded by numerous hotels & restaurants making it dead easy to accomplish.

The festival lights on the bridge brought Christmas to the area in such a warm way! The weather was magnificent so the walk was enjoyable!

Heard about Lake Havasu City and the London Bridge back in the 80s. Now look where we are! We own a home in Lake Havasu City and get to enjoy this wonderful place!

Loved the boat tour. It was my favorite from the entire trip. We learned so much about the history of London Bridge on the tour.

What an engineering feat to bring the numbered bricks of the bridge all the way over to Arizona, via port of Long Beach. Amazing that Mr. McCollough recouped his investment by selling off what material was left in England.

The London Bridge was actually unassembled brick by brick, sent to Lake Havasu, AZ. and reconstructed. When I first heard about it I envisioned the bridge sitting on desert sand somewhere...whoopie. But there is actually water and enough for aquatic entertainment...and the bridge is beautiful. It really is beautiful! It looks like it could be a Christmas card picture. I can't explain it but if old English carolers were to stroll across they would be right at home. I really think you'd enjoy looking at it. Lake Havasu is a gorgeous backdrop for the beautiful bridge.

It’s sort of interesting that it was done, and how it was done, not sure why it was done though , cheap at $ 2.4 million to buy it.

The London Bridge in Lake Havasu takes you to the Island with several restaurants, beaches, boat launches and hotels. You can stop and take photos and read about the history of the bridge. Very busy during the summer months.

Funny to see this old world structure in the middle of the AZ desert, but it really made something of this city. Good visitor center. Definitely worth a look.

Awesome and beautiful place to visit. A lot of information about the bridge is available from the boat tour company.

This is a beautiful exhibit of what CAN be done in today’s world! Well done, and Very Interesting! The first time we saw it, it was Christmas Season, and it was decorated wonderfully! A lonely Saxaphone Player was playing under the Bridge, and the ACOUSTICS was Fantastic!

Great to visit the London Bridge museum to watch the video that describes how it all came to be. Very interesting stuff! Good places to eat and stay nearby, and lots of opportunities for boat tours as well.

It’s the actual London Bridge, moved to AZ. That is kinda crazy, but true. So we had to see it and yes, it’s a big stone bridge moved brick by Brock from merry England, to Lake Havasu Az. Who would have thought that was possible (or even a good idea)!
Loved it!

London Bridge was very cool, we loved the locks and the history of it all! We're going back to walk it tomorrow morning!!!

While admittedly there's not a lot to do here during the offseason other than walk around, visit the shops, walk back and forth across the bridge and of course get something to eat, this is something not to be missed. The history is pretty incredible and while this visit would have garnered 4 stars from me, i have to give it 5 due to the incredible cleanliness. We had a very enjoyable visit and we will be back.

We enjoyed an afternoon of shopping and strolling along the walkways near the London Bridge. On our next visit, we'll take a water tour or rent watercraft in warmer weather.

London Bridge came to Havasu through the McCullough Corporation. They purchased the bridge from the City of London, dismantled the bridge stone by stone, labeled each, shipped to AZ and rebuilt it in a major operation.

I drove from Phoenix to see the London bridge because I had never been there. The drive from Sky Harbor airport took 3 1/2 hours. The scenery was both boring and beautiful at times. I was there the first week in June and the temperature already reached 108 degrees. We drove over the bridge sand turned around before we could find a parking space. I had read about the history of the bridge both in London and the move to Lake Havasu. If I wouldn’t have read about it before I got there I would have never known. A place with this much history should advertise it much more than they do here.

Nice bridge with a questionable past. It was a great idea to help in the development of the area and the formation of the 'island'

A beautiful stroll over the original London Bridge brought over from Britain to view the magnificent Colorado River and the views of the canyons that surround Lake Havasu!

It's not something I would drive hundreds of miles to see but it's a really neat stop if you are in Havasu, or nearby. I have vague memories of walking over London bridge, in London, as a small child and more vivid memories of news of it being finished and opened in Lake Havasu city, so that made the visit kind of special. As well as the bridge there is a red phone box, City of London posts with Lions mounted on them and the Union Jack flying which are all cool reminders of where the bridge came from and the story behind it. The views of the lake and surrounding countryside are lovely and I'm sure a boat ride would be fun although we didn't have the time. There is a nice statue and plaque on the bridge with relevant information.

See the original bridge brought over from London, walk across it, stroll beneath it, or dine in one of the restaurants viewing it. Sunsets at the bridge can be spectacular.

Our main purpose was to walk the London Bridge. We arrived early morning and though it was a warm day, we walked the bridge over and back, enjoying the view from the bridge and the architecture of the bridge. Well worth the trip from Las Vegas to Lake Havasu.

This is a remarkable piece of engineering and an impressive sight. Seeing it sitting in a channel off Lake Havasu is really something. Make sure you look from both sides below and cross it.
It is a pity there are so many cheesy shops nearby but they are easy to ignore.

Visited Lake Havasu City on the way back from Las Vegas and stopped at the London Bridge. We spent a few minutes there looking at the bridge and taking a few photos. Nothing special when you look at it, but the history of it is what is special. There are some shopping areas near the bridge and a couple of hotels. It’s been quite a few years since we have visited and it is now built up around the ends of the bridge - used to be pretty wide open to view it.

a great way to see the canyon and london bridge and a great experience if you do not want to drive to lake havasu

We were here the first weekend in December and saw the Annual Christmas Boat Parade. Walked across the bridge and watched the boats and people. What a fantastic backdrop.

Sun but slightly chill day made for a great walk along the river to view the London Bridge. Quite remarkable and many shops and bars and restaurants along the way.

Since moving to Arizona a few years back, one of my bucket-list items had always included visiting the infamous London Bridge in Lake Havasu City which crosses the renowned and majestic Colorado River. Knowing that Power-Tool Magnate Robert McCulloch had taken the painstakingly difficult and super expensive proposition of moving the London Bridge stone-by-stone, lock, stock, and barrel from England in the sixties, I had always wanted to see, touch, and experience this historical landmark, that had its beginning sometime around 1176 AD to cross the river Thames. With almost 850 of history, one wonders how many have walked, fished, fought, died and/or made out on this bridge. It’s a wondrous feeling standing on and admiring the presence of this structure, its history, and its presence in the New World. I was truly amazed and awed. Just one thing though! I was dismayed at how cheeky the little village at the foot of this monument where the City’s Visitor Center resides. Not something that reflects the significance of such structure, its heritage or beauty. But I guess it goes hand-in-hand with the partying Baby-Boomer partygoers and former Hippy ensemble who congregate there during the summer. Your landmark is magnificent, I enjoyed it, and mystified by it, but Lake Havasu City, I think you could have done a better job at honoring this world heritage.

The bridge is certainly attractive and it's an unusual and interesting story to learn how city founder Robert P. McCulloch purchased the bridge for $2.4 million and had it dismantled brick by brick and shipped to Arizona through the Panama Canal. It took three years to reconstruct the bridge at its current location. His was a gamble that paid off; the bridge became a major tourist attraction and hotels and restaurants sprang up around it to boost the growing city's economy. We stayed at one of those hotels and enjoyed a lovely sunset walk around the bridge and along the Shoreline Trail. It was a Friday evening in August and the channel was full of party boats and the restaurants and bars next to the bridge were hopping. During the cooler months of the year (October-April), guided walking tours are available from the visitor center that present the history and interesting details about the bridge. I was fascinated to learn that the light posts on the bridge were forged from recycled metal reclaimed by melting-down French cannons seized at the Battle of Waterloo. It's free to visit the bridge and walk over, under and around it, but there's a small fee for the tour. Wheelchair access to the area is good.

It must have been an unbelievable 1967 dismantling and move from spanning the the River Thames in London, England. It took three years to reconstruct,

Its a bridge that came from. LONDON. IT IS pretty and is the reason the town exists SNOWBIRDS. Shops all along. Good ice cream 🍦 and treats. Nice shopping 🛍
It is NOT "THE" London Bridge but has a cool story as to how it arrived in the Arizona desert.
Great place
Lake Havesue with itsLondon Bridge is a great place to visit.Very interesting how the bridge was built.Lots of walks around the lake and a ferry and boat ride you can take.Just a fun day ,with plenty of restaurants and a ice cream parlour.
