Louisville Mega Cavern Reviews

Our last day of the trip we decided to zipline through Louisville Mega Cavern. My step sister and I are from Iowa where they do not have anything like this so we were nervous but excited. Plus the price is reasonable. The whole experience was incredible and I was a little nervous at first but I had to remind myself if I can jump out of a plane, I can jump off a cliff in darkness too! Our guides Caroline and Zinner were great with positive energies. They made the experience fun and there were lots of laughs! You can tell they truly enjoy their jobs. I could have stayed ziplining for hours if they'd let me, haha. Overall, very pleased with the experience!

Amazing adventurous experience with the family which included my teenage son who wanted to see something different that what the parents were interested in which was to visit bourbon distilleries. There are numerous ziplines and bridges that you experience in a cave environment which is quite unique.

Our guides Julian and Sydney were terrific and quite funny which made the adventure fun and exciting.

Caroline and Austin were awesome guides, highly recommend this to anyone traveling to Louisville. This was a unique and great experience. Well worth it

Overall, my husband and I had a great time, as did everyone else in our group. Given the number of ziplines, and the great tour guides we had, the cost is well worth it. They supply all the gear you need and guide you through putting it on with simple step by step instructions. From there, they operate the gear for you. You are tethered at all times, and the guides are right there giving simple guidance and support both physically and mentally, so it is very safe and fun. This is important as I have vertigo, but I was determined to not let that stop me and only the last take-off platform was an issue for me, but Lucy was very understanding and she and my husband talked me through. I took Dramamine for the nausea, and was mentally prepared for it. I felt safe and secure at all times and going through the cavern was so cool.

The less happy occurrences for me were the last 2 dismounts. I wish someone had said you should be able to do at least 1 squat. While momentum is pushing you up the landing ramp, your feet get beneath you in a crouched position, and you stand up. I missed that moment as i did not realize that the pinched nerve in my lower back caused the muscles i needed to stand from that position useless, followed by the fact you've now lost your momentum to move forward (which helps you stand up), and now your body wants to go back down the zipline. Zinner, who was great, was able to get me up but it was a struggle and embarrassing. The final dismount was even worse. Had my legs been working properly, had i known they were not working properly, hence the squat test, I would have been fine. Before you say why was i ziplining with a pinched nerve in my lower back... I was on the mend, doing therapeutic exercises, and swim for fitness. I just had not attempted a squat to realize I had an issue there ;-)

There were people of all shapes, sizes, fear levels, and ages that had no problems. This was just me! Had I just known I needed to be able to do one squat, it would have been perfect.

As for the vertigo/fear of heights... the harness makes you feel secure, and Dramamine takes away the nausea and adds a calming factor. You have 3 opportunities to stop, lower to the ground, and have a golf cart come get you. The two bridges are challenging, but you are still in the harness which is tethered by two lines to a cable overhead and there is lots of cable on either side to hold on to. Look ahead and not at your feet! Just keep moving. Having someone behind you who understands assuring you your feet are in the right place on the walkway, and you're doing great is the final piece...lol.

One of the best tour activities I’ve done in years! Been ziplining a few times and this is completely unique. Cam and Austin were great guides.

Came here after family suggested. The zip line was a great experience for my daughter and I!! Sydney and Vanessa were our guides and they made us feel very safe. We screamed and laughed and give this a 10 out of 10!

“King” Julian and “Super” Sydney were our tour guides; I am BEYOND afraid of heights, they made me feel safe and secure while having fun. Our group was 7, with a family of 4.

They had 3 kids (a little hectic) BUT Julian and Sydney handled everything professionally, and friendly.

I would come back just because of them and that is saying something because I’m super terrified of heights.
Good energy employees, that work great together as a team.

So, we were hesitant on booking this adventure but reading all the reviews we decide to do it. It is a must do while visiting Louisville. We are fortunate enough to travel a lot at this time in our life, and we are always in for good time. Caroline and Haley made this adventure an AWESOME one. It is a must do!!!! It's a quick Uber ride from the city there and back if you're staying downtown.

Our family (husband, wife, and two kids ages 13 and 10) had an amazing time at the Mega Caverns Zip Line Adventure. The underground setting made it a unique and thrilling experience for all of us. Our tour guides Cam and Miranda were adventurous yet safe, friendly, and entertaining, making the day even more memorable. Highly recommend for a fun family outing!

First time ziplining and it was a blast! I was nervous at first but between the gear and our guides, Sydney and Lizzy, I felt at ease and enjoyed every minute.

Austin & Riley were awesome tour guides and definitely deserve (and need) some time in the sunshine. 5 stars for each of them!

Cam and Norton were awesome! My husband and I had them as tour guides for the 5 zip lines inside the cave. They made it fun, and we felt safe with them. We had never zip lined, and we're both over 55 years of age. I would recommend this place and those young men. It was worth the trip.

We had an amazing time on the Ziplines with our guides Bre and Riley. They were fun and made us feel safe. Highly recommend this tour.

I went in blind not having heard of the caverns until today, but the lobby was huge and had a lot of fun things to do while waiting for my Tram Tour. The tour itself was intriguing and, at least for me, really interesting. My favorite part of the entire tour was learning how expansive the cavern actually was, almost overwhelmingly huge. I'd recommend going on the tram yourself to see in person how expansive the cavern is.

Ziplining was so fun. I do not like heights so the darkness of the cave was great. Shoes and pants will get muddy which I wish I had known. Felt very safe and the guides were kind and fun.

Julie and Riley were amazing and made the whole zip lining experience so much fun! It was just my 7-year-old and me, and we were both pretty nervous at first, but they were incredibly encouraging and made us feel safe the entire time. My son rated it 100/10, which says it all. Such a great experience, highly recommend!

What a great experience for our 4-H Dairy Quiz Bowl team. Majority of the participants were 1st time zip liners and Caroline and Zinner were the great hosts! They answered the questions of the kids and ensured all had a great time! Highly recommend thus experience and appreciate Zinner and Caroline!!

My husband and I did the zip-line tour and had an absolute blast. Our guides were Caroline and Ray, and they were amazing!

Cam and Austin were great guides! They made it fun! I was a little nervous about going since it was my first time- They definitely calmed my nervous by making me laugh! the $100 for ziplining is SO worth it! we were down there 2.5 hours! It's such a fun experience! Core memories made!

Lucy and Julie were great guides, they stressed safety, fun and made the 2.5 hours very entertaining. Would recommend this place highly

We did the zip line and it was awesome! Ezra and Ray were funny, full of trivia, and answered all of our questions! They made us feel super safe and it was an amazing time!!

Experienced the Christmas Lights at the Mega Cavern. We definitely enjoyed ourselves since it was a planned trip. However, if you think this alone is worth driving an hour half or more for, it is NOT! Drive super slow, as it is a bit shorter than you may think, we took about 20 minutes in the early evening with no cars in front of us. I am certain you could fly through this in under 10 if you don't slow down. It was fun to watch my kid stand up out of the sunroof and point out things throughout the cave.

My sisters & I had the best time ever, and Jaden & Riley were the best. They were very patient & extremely helpful with a couple handicapped zipliners, and even had us all laughing throughout the whole course. We would highly recommend this to everyone. Ask for Jaden & Riley!

An amazing family activity! Jayden and Riley were our guides and were incredible! They were so fun, so funny, very knowledgable and always made sure we were safe. We took our young children and Jayden and Riley were so patient and kind. Highly recommend for adults or kids!

Me, my wife and 2 children (10 and 12) did the zip lining. Hayley and Charlie were great tour guides and they had such a fun and laid back vibe. Definitely the highlight of our Louisville trip. Well worth the money.

This is my second trip here. This one was even better than the first. The guides (Julian and Caroline) were very friendly and beyond helpful with our younger party members that were scared.

We went here during the holiday light show Lights Under Louisville. Our guides, Nick and Quinton were awesome! The staff are well trained and made us first-timers feel comfortable and safe. Nick has a great sense of humor. The zips underground all had fun decor, and I felt like we got a good view of the Lights Under Louisville display as well. The only downside is the music is on a repeating loop that became obnoxious by the end. But that was a small downside. I would highly recommend this adventure for anyone curious about ziplining or trying it underground!

We had a wonderful afternoon hanging with Ezra and Caroline before the school year started! This was a great family activity that was full of adventure and corny jokes. The guides kept us safe and laughing. Just make sure you yell "Meatball!"

Louisville Mega Cavern Zipline was well worth it! Great family adrenaline rush in the world's only fully underground course. Julian and Lizzi were great and made us feel very safe!

Ziplining in the Louisville Mega Cavern was so much fun. Our tour guides Jaden and Riley did a fantastic job, they were both very friendly and knowledgeable.

We had a great time zip lining! Well worth it. The cave was amazing and huge. The guides were awesome (Cam and I just spaced the other guys name on 10-9-25).

Went with 2 friends on 08/05 and it was my first time doing the tram tour! It was a wonderful experience! My tour guide was Olivia and she was fantastic! She was quirky, funny and answered all of our groups questions with a whimsical flare! Overall it was an insightful and very entertaining time, will definitely recommend to others!

I was a first-timer to ziplining and to caverns, and this place was great for both! Walking to each zipline gave a sense of height, and the darkness of the cavern lit by neon lights calmed the anxiety. A little under two hours, the tour (and a couple of bridges) and ziplines were unique treats that were hand-delivered by knowledgeable and safety-oriented staff. Allen with the Louisville Bourbon Inn recommended this place and it did not disappoint.

We were excited to do this after seeing all the great reviews. We were not informed until the tour was about to begin that our shoes would be ruined— not just get dirty but ruined. We opted out of that and went for the tram tour. It was ok— I really can’t say it was amazing. We felt like it was a waste of time. Maybe the walking tour or zip line would be better.

This is a very unique experience! We only had time for a driving tour through the cavern, but there are several other options available, as described. My husband and I enjoyed listening to the history of the Mega Cavsern and were amazed at the ingenuity of its owner and partners for its use. They definitely were thinking outside the box!

We had so much fun! Caroline and Cam were the perfect combo of educational, patient, funny, and encouraging. It was like having wonderful parents half my age who let me jump off cool s$&@. Pretty sure I’m addicted to zip lining now.

Ross our guide was very funny and allowed us to ask questions. Happy he was checking on our group and did not loose any of us. This was my first old limestone mine and had some great history. Also super to do on a hot day.

This was definitely one of my best experiences. I overcame my fear of heights. Im not sure if I didnt have ezra and Lucy for my guides I dont know if I could have powered through. I did not leave at the last exit point. They were confident and knowledgeable and honest about telling us what to expect. Shout out to the tour guides doing this job. I did not win the race on 5 but I won when I completed the tour. This is a must and you have to request Lucy and Ezra! Meatballllllllll ( I was to scared to yell it

My 12-year-old and I went zip lining for the first time today, and what a treat! I was extremely nervous going in (I am very scared of heights), but she has been wanting to do this since we started planning our vacation a few months ago. I am so glad I did it.

Our guides, Zinner and Caroline, were absolutely amazing. They were funny, compassionate, patient, and just genuinely great people. They made the whole experience feel safe, exciting, and full of laughter.

The entire adventure was over-the-top fun, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to step a little outside their comfort zone and have a great time!

I’ve been to Mega Caverns before for their general tour and found out you can zipline!

Been meaning to go to zipline and was excited to have scheduled it in December when the caverns are decked out with holiday lights and decor.

Experience was OUTSTANDING. Keegyn and Julian were fantastic and dry humored instructors who made it super fun. They were also consummate professionals and felt extremely safe throughout the whole course. Definitely a thrill factor ziplining in the dark and 10/10 recommend!

Quick tip: Do this first thing in the morning…by the time I left 11-12ish, there were lines and lines of cars for their general drive through…def an uber popular attraction esp in the winter season!

Definitely not baby friendly, signed up for walking tour and wouldn’t let baby be carried, this was not stated on the website or wavier. We didn’t find out until we had made reservations and showed up for tour, Brought family on military leave. We been on other care tours and carried baby.

Jaden and Riley were great tour guides! I had a lot of anxiety with ziplining, but they did a great job keeping us informed and safe.

Visited with my teen daughter and we really enjoyed it. Our guides Cam and Miranda took excellent care of our group and were very entertaining. I had never ziplined before and am older and not in in the best physical shape, so I was a little nervous going into this, but I felt very safe in the hands of our guides and had a great time.

Cam and Zinner were the best tour guides! The holiday zip was awesome and such a great experience! I would recommend this to everyone even if you’re scared of heights or zip lining.

Did the zip line tour guided by Miranda and Norton. Very cool and unique experience with great guidance and great decorations! Such long ziplines for being underground, and including a lot of deep holes to scare you.

We did the Christmas light tour first and then headed to the zipline course. The light show was amazing. The zipline course was great fun. Our tour guides Ray and Julie were fantastic! Highly recommend!

This was such a unique experience. The zip line became increasingly challenging, but just the right amount. Enjoyed the lights, the black lights and the music. Our guides, Austin & Julian, were amazing. Our group of strangers quickly bonded by the end of the course.

Absolutely amazing and the best! There was plenty to do for myself and my 12 year old son who went ziplining with me and my other two girls, 12, 10, and wife who preferred not to zip although they could have physically if not for their fear of unknowns. The check in was simple, the tour guides of Cam and Sebastian were beyond top notch and I felt safe and secure throughout the experience. Our group was a trough crowd and the guides kept pushing through with smiles and jokes alike. The whole experience was well worth the money and for a 50 year old scared of heights, I had no issues. The girls did the Tram tour which they said was a bit corny but informative. There was a ropes obstacle course in the waiting area that they could have done if they wished but they opted not to. There were clean restrooms, water fountains, drinks, snacks, waiting areas, and corn hole boards! I would definitely sign the waivers online as we did beforehand as it saved a great amount of time and hassle. The cave was very impressively decorated and a lifetime experience we won’t forget!

This was a great experience! Mady and Miranda were the best! I really enjoyed the history of the cavern. I was quite the nervous Nelly and at each platform the told us exactly what to do on the next platform. And ropey was my favorite accessory! Thanks for the fun!

The zip lines are a blast! Ezra and Anaja took us through 5 incredible zip lines in the caverns. They were entertaining and professional, the perfect combination!

Never been on a zip line nor in a cavern of such magnitude. Added were all the holiday lights and music. We traveled there from Michigan and had such a wonderful and exciting time throughout the course. We felt so secure and safe all through the journey Big Thank you to our great tour guides. Both RAE and AMANDA made the experience so awesome safe and fun. The four of us so appreciated all their guidance

Jaden and Ezra were awesome zip line guides! I'm terrified of heights, but they did a great job of being encouraging but not pushy. I went with 5 friends and we loved chatting with them between ziplines. I even shocked myself and did the final 2 ziplines, and I'm so glad I did! The last platform is a little scary, but Ezra told me to look at the ceiling as they told me some cavern ceiling facts and I really appreciated that. We all had an amazing time and I highly recommend this to anyone!!

Went to the Mega Cavern today. Was a wonderful experience, the staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable of the caverns history. I would definitely recommend this place as a must visit place in Louisville KY...

What a fun experience! Our guides Riley and Caroline did a great job at explaining what to do, being informative and entertaining the whole time. It is absolutely worth the time and money.

My family and I decided to visit the cave to do the zip lining. Our guides were Ezra and Riley, they were very knowledgeable, respectful, and friendly. I was a little nervous; however they made me feel safe and comfortable. If you are ever in the area please stop by and have fun.

Ezra and Cam did amazing and made it fun and very safe even though we had nine 9 year olds in our group. I feel like they didn't make enough money today!

If you’re a thrill seeker, the zip line tour is probably for you. This was WAY out of my comfort zone, as I am quite afraid of heights, but our guides, Caroline and Julian, were extremely good at reassuring me—and my kiddo who was also pretty panicky. They made the experience enjoyable and a great memory. I really can’t say enough good things about these two. They are very knowledgeable and made us feel very safe. Julian was good at the comedic relief and Caroline is an amazing cheerleader. My 12 year old son was so fearful at every single line, but they made him feel he could do it, even though they did offer him to go back if he couldn’t go on. He’s so proud of his bravery in completing the course. Without the awesome guides for reassurance, we probably wouldn’t have completed it. This was a big day for us both. They also let my boyfriend help me when my kiddo was extra scared, and that was really cool of them. Can’t recommend this place enough. Super safe, well-run, great staff, good atmosphere, and adrenaline! Just do it! And bring cash for a tip for the guides. They more than deserve it.

We had an amazing time ziplining today. Our guides Norton & Eric were fantastic, fun, respectful, watchful and safe. We are recommending this activity to anyone we know traveling to this area. We also did the car drive thru and was glad we did. It is an expansive display and was very impressive. 5 Stars!!!!

In short, the place was great.

But to make a long story LONG, me and my family did the zip line guide, which I highly recommend. Our two tour guides were very cool and fun to interact with. To nitpick, the lights were but eccentric, but it didn’t take anything away from my enjoyment. The place also seems like a nice place just to hang out with friends or others. I’d like to visit some time soon. Thank you guys for the great time.

We went Friday morning and got Cam and Austin as our guides. The whole experience was beyond amazing!! The guys joked and kept everyone laughing while also making sure everything was safe and secure (my husband is deathly afraid of heights and they were great with him!!) and the flow was steady and just, so great! I can’t say enough amazing things about this experience. If you have the time, definitely check it out!

Fun, informative cavern tram tour that’s worth the price for one hour. Never knew this cavern existed and that 70% of it sits below the Louisville Zoo! Graham was a great guide.

Such a fun experience going underground for zip lining. The laser lights were cool effect but also helped you see how deep some of the cave really got.

We went on the tram ride though the park. Interesting place , expected more lighting, probably better at Christmas. Some of the stops seem to be just to extend the tour

I'm just gonna say this but kid you not David started making a gourmet meals while he was going down and then when he got down he started walking on his hands

Then Ray started making slime out of dirt she all gave us some tho which was awesome and he did flex off how strong she was.

Anyway I had a amazing time and I was glad that I had these tour guides you should give them a raise and make them top employees of the year

David and Rae made our adventure with the family super funnnnnn!! The jokes were absolutely hysterical and yet they kept us safe and I formed if everything coming up on the zip line! They were engaging and I would definitely recommend friends and family to do this when visiting Louisville!

Bucket list item, but unexpectedly had a great time! The cavern was decorated for Christmas, the zip lining was super fun even though I hate heights. But what made this adventure so memorable was our guides Lucy and Ezra. They did a phenomenal job of making sure we were safe, and comfortable. I can’t say enough about how professional and personable these two were.

We arrived for Tram at 9:30 and Tram left at 10:00am. Our ages were 62, 2@67 years olds. Flat walking into cave and to counter, they don't ask anything of you but your name and making sure your waivers are done or that will take a minute to do on tablets. Free parking is a real thing!
We were loaded into Tram steps are made of a weaker form of plastic and are short steps if you have larger feet. If you would do walking tour it is a soupy floor so wear the right shoes and a sweatshirt is a must, and if you don't like droplets of water falling on your head maybe a hat.
We start out and I will tell you we have been in several caves and this a manmade building underground and it smells like a sewer if you or your group are sensitive to smells this could be a real turn off. If you are sensitive to fuel smells coming from the Tram truck do not sit in the front car or back of the first car.
The ride consisted of limited history of cave and basically promoting the Halloween Theme they do and Christmas Lights which you drive your own car thru. They say these theme experiences can be enjoyed all day just not a night that waits can be for hours. The cave is dark all the time so the lights will be good to see anytime during opening.
The price is good, but just not much to it. We saw people Zip Lining but did not do this.
Ease of getting to Mega Caverns is very easy.

The guides were amazing. Caroline, Riley, rae, and Ross. They were funny and also very safe. I didn't have any disappointments. It was beautiful in that cave.

Tour guides Vanessa and Cam were amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our adventure and will definitely recommend to others. They were both very safety conscious and engaging.
And they even sang happy birthday to my husband!

We did the tram tour! Olivia was our tour guide, she did great with explaining the history of the cavern. And telling us the story of how it all started!! We will definitely be back!!

My husband and I ventured out to the Mega Caverns for the zip lining. Our guides, Cam and Austin, were top notch!!! They had great jokes, kept it light and made us feel safe on all the lines! If you are looking for something fun to do this is a total winner!!!

Zinner and Keegyn were absolutely delightful as our guides. My mother in law, who is in her 70s, bought the tickets for us while I was in town visiting with my wife (the wife can't do heights). The Mega Caverns are in an industrial park, so don't freak out and think you are in the wrong place, there are plenty of signs to direct you where to go, just be observant. The bathrooms were the clean, there are lockers to store any belongings you don't want to risk losing, and make sure you wear hiking shoes or boots as there is some walking in stone/sand on the way to the Ziplines. Is it scary? Yes. Is it safe? 100%. Zinner and Keegyn had a routine that was very obvious, they told us where to stand, repeated instructions, and at all times were willing to answer questions. So, if you go, kick back and do the "Meatball" on your way down the ziplines, you won't regret it.

My boys and I enjoyed the ziplines. It was a lot of fun. 5 ziplines and 2 bridges. I wouldn’t recommend the photo. It is not an action shot like the website shows and the photo was blurry. We would go zip lining again. Thanks Austin and Mady!

My kids and I decided to try the Zipline experience. Best decision on this trip. It was way more fun than I thought it would be. And with amazing guides like Ezra and Miller we really got the full experience. They kept the trip through the caverns fun and informative. Next time I come back I hope I get them again!

Amanda and Zinner provided us with an excellent trip! We had a thrilling time and learned about the cave. It was decorated for Christmas and they played Christmas music.

Our zip line adventure at the Louisville Mega Cavern was unforgettable, thanks to our incredible guides, Lucy and Quinton! Their energy and humor kept the group laughing, and their clear instructions helped even the nervous first-timers feel confident. You can tell they love what they do! We had such a great time — highly recommend asking for Lucy and Quinton if you want an awesome experience underground!

This is something definitely to do while visiting Kentucky. Our guides Cam and julian were excellent and funny. The caverns are lit up with n array of different types of lighting. Two swinging Bridges to cross. I give it a experience a 10 must do.

You really do not get to see anything other than some of the cheesy decorations. I would have liked to be able to see the actual cave. The zip lines themselves were decent. I definitely would not waste your money getting pictures. All we got was a couple pictures taken on our guides cell phone of us just standing there. No action shots!! (Like the ones you see hanging on the walls in the hallway to get to the office area & probably why it was so cheap) I’d be wanting to zip line in the caves for quite some time to add to the list of places I’ve gone. I was really disappointed. I could’ve just redone some of the other places but kept my eyes closed the whole time and it’d basically be the same. I will give props to the guides Cam and ??a girl I can’t remember her name, they did a great job.

We had a blast in the Mega Cavern! we went on the zip lining tour with Riley & Ezra very exceptional tour guides! Felt safe and secure the whole time! Great experience for the whole family! High recommend if your in louisville to go!

Cam & Nick were great! They made sure we were safe and told plenty of jokes to make sure we had a great time zip lining. My husband and I had a great time and would love to come back and visit again. I do wish there was music down there to enhance the experience and maybe do something for Halloween for a spooky zip lining experience! Overall, a great experience for a little weekend getaway.

Lucy and Norton were our guides for the zipline tour! They were amazing and made the experience that much more fun! My kids had a blast and we enjoyed family fun together!

I was a little wary of booking this experience for my family because we have three younger kids. But I can’t emphasize enough how fun, unique, and awesome an experience this was.
My 5 year old and 7 year old did the Mega Quest with my husband. It was an awesome ropes course in the cavern surrounded by colourful lights. My 5 year old was nervous but the monitor, Alex, was wonderful with him. She cheered and helped him along, but also encouraged him to be independent and try things on his own. If it was busier I don’t know if she would have been able to spend so much time with him, so we were lucky there was a small group on the course at the time. My 7 year old and husband loved it; there were challenging obstacles and easier obstacles and you can choose which path you take. There were a couple mini zip lines as well.

My 9 year old and I did the zip lines in the cavern and I can’t even describe how crazy, different and fun this experience was. I would caution if your kid is not a risk taker or is afraid of heights, this isn’t the activity for them. There are no refunds and a point of no return, so just be aware. There were big drops, high platforms, and two suspension bridges that you had to cross (while clipped in so you can’t fall, but I’m a grown woman and my legs were still jelly). They have glow in the dark objects and awesome light displays that you zip line through - it’s impossible to describe. Just do it, it’s worth every penny. Our guides Riley and Julian were funny, encouraging and most importantly super skilled and knowledgeable so we felt safe the whole time.

We had an awesome time, no regrets.

This was a wonderful experience. It was my first time in a cave and zip lining. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Kentucky. Caroline and Sebastian were great guides, they were funny and professional. We were very comfortable and safe with them.

What an awesome experience. We have gone ziplining before but this was totally different than treetops you see on most tours. Caroline and Parker were our guides and they were super fun and really cared about safety and made sure kids had fun. I have already sent recs to all my friends to come check it out!

My husband, mother-in-law, and I did the walking tour. Ross was very nice and it was a neat tour. However, it was hard to hear quite a bit of the information Ross was saying. Maybe they need a better microphone system. Also, our flashlights were so dim that they didn't help us see the ground at all. It was nice and cool in there and we had a nice time but it could have been better which is why we give it 3 stars. (Oh and we wanted to buy a magnet in the gift shop but they don't accept cash.)

My kids (ages 15 and 11) and I had a great time doing the Holiday zip-lining with Caroline & Ray! These ladies kept our group safe while having fun. We'd all done zip-lining before but never quite like this with the Lights Under Louisville backdrop- it was a memorable time for sure. Our group was pretty big so there was some waiting at each zip line but the holiday music and lights helped the time pass. Our family drove through the Lights Under Louisville right when it opened at 9 am, then did the 10:00 am zipline.

The zip line experience was awesome. I highly recommend requesting Norton and JJ (Julie) as your zip tour guides. They were very informative and interactive the entire experience. They made you feel safe and explained everything to make you feel safe.

I wanted to like this more, but I just didn't. We did the trailer tour and it was interesting but not overwhelming. It is massive inside but when you think it's all man-made it's less impressive. That being said my son liked it more than I. Also they had no specific mega cavern magnets or stickers. If your money is tight or have limited time I would skip it.

Ziplining through the Mega Cavern was an unforgettable experience—such a cool twist doing it underground! My friend and I did the Mega Zip tour with guides Norton and Ross. The tour was great and the guides were even better. Zip lines were exciting and different. The tour was thrilling and fun for all ages. The guides were fun and kind.

Jane and Miranda were excellent and energetic guides. I was very impressed by the amount of safety protocol in place, they have it all down to a science. I highly recommend the experience to anyone. I’m not a fan of tall heights, but it was worth it!! So much fun!!

We had a zip line tour with 9 people from all over the world. It was an amazing experience! The staff are professional and knowledgeable, and made it a lot of fun. Four in our party rode one line and wanted to return. Michael Dennis retrieved this group from the zip line and then proceeded to give us a personal tour of the Cavern. There was no more room on a tram tour, and instead of our party having to wait a couple of hours for the others to return, Michael took it upon himself to give us a tour. He went way over and beyond for us! He made this visit truly special for all of us. Michael was gracious, kind and very knowledgeable. He's a true asset and we will return with many more visitors!

Austin and Riley were amazing. We’ve been on a couple zip lines and the tour guides really make or break the experience, thankfully we lucked out and had great tour guides. Riley and Austin were funny, helpful, entertaining, and made the whole experience very memorable. We never felt bored or unsafe. Our group also had an uneven amount of people, and at the end of the tour you get to race against another person on the zip line. Riley offered to go with my daughter which was very fun, especially because she did win, and he was a great sport about it. Thank you for a great afternoon and zip lining experience.

We are from North Carolina and this was our 3rd visit to the Mega Cavern. We've done the tram tour, ropes course and Christmas lights. This was our first time on the zipline course. We enjoyed the ziplines, our guides were great, and we captured lots of memories. However, the only downside was the size of our group, 13 people is just too many. I felt like we were all crammed in on most of the platforms (not a good feeling when you are off the ground, in the dark) and I feel a group of 10 or less would've been way more appropriate. A smaller size group would've also allowed us to move at a faster pace as well, which would have made for a much more enjoyable experience rather than spending the majority of the time just waiting around, especially on the cramped platforms. I have never experienced this issue at previous zipline course destinations and I hope Louisville Mega Caverns will consider limiting group sizes to make a better experience for future thrill seekers.

Visited the Mega Caverns and did the zip line tour. Had 2 great guides- Lucy and Quentin, both very knowledgeable and professional, not to mention fun, as well. The group we went with was also fun and friendly.

The tour lasted about 2.5 hours, mostly due to the larger group we were with.

Definitely recommend this fun attraction.

It was really colorful despite being a cave. I went with my family to go ziplining. The tour guides were really humourous and friendly. There was one part of the tour where they said there would be bats, turns out they were colorful baseball bats. It was apparently supposed to be a ziplining rave, so there are speakers everywhere. They're just broken due to the dampness. The lights were so cool, there were lasers and led lights everywhere. Would recommend.

We took our grandkids, ages 11 - 17 on the zip line tour. It was fantastic and they are all ready to return. Miranda and Miller were excellent guides. They were professional and fun. Our group was combined with another group so there were 12 people. The.guides were patient with all the different ages. Instructions were clear and made you feel safe. For the record..... The grandparents are 65 and 72 years old. We are ready to go again.

This was a spur of the moment stop for me during solo traveling across the country in my Prius. I am a woman in my mid 50s and I had never been zip lining. I was halfway expecting a hokey experience based on the flashy lights in the ads. I do love fun adventures though and I’m glad I stopped! I was able to book for a spot almost 2 hours from when I arrived. The staff at the register was SUPER helpful when I had a dilemma. My zipline guides, Julian and Miranda, were a lot of fun! Miranda gave me tips on what to look for on future zipping experiences. The ziplines were thrilling. I can’t wait to bring my young adult kids back on a future trip.

Riley and Jayden were fantastic tour guides! I took my 9 yr old daughter for her birthday and she was just 3lbs over the required weight. After putting on the harness, they said we may not be able to Zipline today but they went above and beyond to make sure she was safe enough to go. They also rechecked her harness before every Zipline and she was completely safe and had an amazing time! My daughter says "5 stars!"

I went with a friend to zip line under the caverns. It was a bucket list for my friend and she loved it. I was quite nervous but the tour guides Amanda and Keegyn really made me feel safe. They were very patient with me. It took me a minute to jump especially when I reached the 4th zip line (the highest from the ground and the fastest zip line speed). I am 67 years old and my friend is 77 years old. We were in such good hands. We also enjoyed the group we were assigned to (7 of us in total). I recommend trying the Mega Cavern zip lines.

We took the kids and grandkids for the zip line experience. It was fantastic and I highly recommend it! Try to get Riley and Lucy . They’re attention to detail, safety and making it fun was amazing. We had family members in every decade except the 50’s . I was the oldest at 62 and the youngest was 8 years old. Plan it and do it . Great family or company experience.

We had a group of 14 celebrating a bachelorette party, and this was hands-down one of the best adventures we’ve ever been on! Riley and Sydney, our guides, absolutely made the experience. They were funny, helpful, and went out of their way to make sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. Even those of us who were a little uneasy trying something new were quickly put at ease with their clear explanations and encouragement. By the end, we couldn’t stop talking about how much fun we had. We’ll definitely be back for round two!

We took the zipline tour and a great time was had by our group, including one who was more than a bit anxious about the whole situation. Our guides Julian and Lucy handled our small group of 4 with confidence, expertise, and more than a bit of humor that helped to keep everyone enjoying themselves. Running a zipline in the dark is such a different experience than one in the daylight, and the cool lighting that was set up for each run made for an even more interesting excursion. All-in-all, highly recommended!

My husband and I went with our 2 teenage boys on the Zipline. It was awesome. Our 2 guides, Cam & Zin, were great! Their instructions were clear & easy to understand! They kept us entertained during the tour! I felt very safe during the whole tour! We can all go tell our friends & family that we went on one of the coolest underground Ziplines! We zipped lined at the Mega Cavern and it was amazing! I just recently lost a significant amount of weight and am thrilled this was my first zip line experience. Miller and Bree were the best guides!! They were kind, fun and detailed in their explanations before each line. Mega Caverns could not ask for 2 better employees to represent them. There were 2 adults and 3 kids in our party (15,12,9) and we all had a blast. If you get the chance to go you will not regret it!

Highly recommend the zipline course at Mega Caverns! Each line/bridge had something unique to it with varying levels of speed/height/length. The guides were amazing. David and Ray made everyone feel safe while keeping the mood light and goofy, especially for the kids. The kids are already asking to go back! Hoping to have the same guides next time!

We did the zip lining at the Louisville Mega caverns. Honestly we were really excited but underwhelmed. The tour guides were very kind but the duration of the zipline experience was supposed to be two and a half hours. Because they weren't busy we went through all five or six zip lines in under an hour and a half. It's hard to justify spending that much money on those few zip lines. We've been to many other zip lining places the appeal of this is that it's underground. However it's not like a regular cave that usually cold this was actually very humid and some what warm. I would say that I'm glad we did this but again we were underwhelmed and felt like it was a bit overpriced.

It was very good, the couple Julie and Okeegyn gave all the correct instructions, told stories and always very nice. The Christmas climate gave a very cool vibe.

Lizzi and Cam were fantastic guides. They made it fun and enjoyable. Our group had a blast with them. They were funny and we always felt safe.

Ross was a great tour guide! We lucked out with him. Very informative tour, but a one and done kinda place. I would call it a Mega Mine not a Mega Cavern. But they have done a good job with the place. If you want to get out of the heat give it a try. We just did the walking tour. Zip line looked cool and the rope course would be good for kids 5-12 in my opinion.

We lucked into having Zinner & Amanda as our guides! Very knowledgable, talkative and humorous!! Always felt safe! This was our 2nd time zipling (1st time many years ago!) The Christmas lights in the caves were an added bonus as they were absolutely lovely!! Definitely recommend if you're a thrill seeker looking for something fun!!!

Right when we walked in Sebastian was so helpful at the desk and did a great tram tour. We also did the zip line tour and had an awesome experience with the cutest couple Riley and Cam. They kept us laughing while being slightly afraid during the zip lines! We literally never stopped smiling! So much fun!

We had reservations for both the ziplines and tram tours. We arrived 30 minutes early.

Upon arrival, we headed inside the cavern. Once you see the rope courses, table & chairs, registers with a few souvenirs, you're there.
There were drinks, bottled water and little snacks (chips and candies) that were available for purchase. There were also some souvenirs-- t-shirts, sweatshirts, key chains, magnets, cups, for sale

Our first tour was the tram tour. It started right on time. Two coupled trams were pulled by a pickup truck. Graham was our tour guide for the Mega Tram. He was great, knowledgeable, and made it fun. Interesting cavern history.

We had a few hours between the tours, so my son tried the rope course. He was scheduled for the 3:15 pm rope course but after suiting up and going through safety instructions, he was able to go up the course at 4 pm.

Our zipline adventure started on time, at 5 pm. We went with other groups for a total of 11 people.
We were called and got suited up. Riley & Lizzy were our guides for the Mega Ziplines. They were efficient, fun, and reassured everyone. My son was the youngest in the group. We were finished by 7:35 pm.

The ziplines were fun. The cavern is dark but there are lots of strobe lights. The ziplines are not that long but it is still fun! It's a bucket list- zipline inside a cavern... checked!

I absolutely loved this experience! This was my first time ever on a Zipline and the experience there was absolutely top tier. The beautiful colors and lights were absolutely amazing. Miranda and Mattie we're absolutely great and fun. They made this experience even funnier with the great personalities and sense of humor. I definitely will be back!

The experience was definitely unique and thrilling, and our guides were fantastic! Riley & Vanessa did an excellent job!!! Unfortunately, management should do their part to support a wonderful experience for guests. First of all, the website should not promote the idea that it’s 58 degrees, even in summer. I can assure you, every bit of humidity was felt during our July 2025 visit. Pants and a lightweight hoodie were definitely overkill. Also, the website indicates music on the tour. While waiting my turn, I noticed the deafening silence at times. The guides were great at conversation, but I could tell something was missing for sure. Another misrepresentation on the website is the pictures of guests physically on the ziplines. It makes it appear as though that’s a photo you will receive if you pay the extra $10. Not only are there no pictures taken ON the zipline, but I was told you get the picture if you paid extra or not?!? Another disappointment came at the end of the tour, when I saw the extremely slim pickings of shirts/hoodies available for purchase. All of the most common sizes were sold out, and I was told they could not be purchased online at a later date. Sooo, we were just out of luck. I would also like to suggest some kind of shoe cleaning station or complimentary bags or SOMEthing to accommodate our filthy shoes after the tour. I was completely unaware I needed to prevent that mess from being transferred to my cars interior. In conclusion, it was a FUN experience, a “good” experience and with a little effort from management it could be a “great” experience ;)

Jaydan and Norton from Team 2 made my experience at the Mega Cavern Zipline one to remember. I was visiting from Ocala, Florida, and came by myself, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome right from the start.

Both of them were professional, friendly, and full of energy. They explained everything clearly, kept the group laughing, and made sure everyone was comfortable and safe. Even though I was solo, they made me feel like part of the group the entire time.

The zipline course itself is amazing, but it was their personality and the way they treated people that really stood out. My visit to Louisville would not have been the same without them. Thanks guys!!

My family and I visited the Mega Cavern and did their Mega Ziplines. It was one of the coolest experiences I have ever had. I highly recommend it for teens and adults. Our guides were Cam and Caroline. They were both very personable, comforting, and did a great job of sharing a mix of the cave's history with humor. As someone who is typically afraid of heights, I felt safe with them, laughed, and learned a lot. This was such a unique experience, and I would recommend it to anyone who visits Louisville.

First off, Miranda and Lizzi are truly great representatives of Louisville Mega Cavern Zip Line Tours. Both were interesting, intelligent and you can tell they love their job! They "whipped" us all into shape during the short instructional portion and made sure we were safe during the experience. These 2 girls made this trip exceptional!

I took my family to zip line for Fall Break. The kids are 7,10, & 12 and I was a little nervous about how they would handle the zip lines. The tour guides Norton and Keegan did an amazing job at keeping them safe and building their confidence. This was a huge hit for fall break.

Ray and Caroline were funny and helpful. Took my daughter and her friend and had a great time. This was a unique experience and something that I would recommend to anyone.

We had family in from out of town and they wanted to see the Mega Cavern. In our group, we had an infant, one mobility-challenged adult, and able-bodied adults. This was our second tour there and enjoyed it. Alex was our guide and was upbeat, informative, and we enjoyed her explanation of how it was nearly a fall-out shelter. In the past, everything was extremely dark and it creeped me out. This time, I was thrilled to see some of the Lights Under Louisville still up. We had a great view of the zipline, which we're doing in two weeks. They also had a gem panning area and one person in our group was crazy about it. Be sure to bring a jacket - it stays a steady 58 degrees F. year round.

We brought our 8, 11, and 13 year olds and they were wonderful with all three, especially our 8 year old who was very nervous at first. They took extra time to make her feel safe and confident, and by the end she was laughing and loving every minute of it. The entire tour felt extremely safe, well organized, and so much fun. We drove about four hours from Indiana and it was completely worth the trip. We will definitely be back.

Mega Tram is boring. Since it is a man made cavern it is not exciting and with every turn the tram made it was the same limestone rock. Nothing much to do. Gives history of bourbon, horse racing etc. I rather have more things to explore in a cave. Never going back to a cavern. Not worth $20. Save your money and go to a restaurant and have a nice meal.

Also highly recommend adding tipping on the machine when you pay so these amazing people can get more tips like they deserve.

My wife and I were headed to Nashville Tennessee for a few days to attend the Music City Game. In doing my research ahead of time I found out that Louisville had a thing called Lights Under Louisville light display in a cave. From the moment we got to the entrance it was so cool. We didn’t know exactly what to expect but we enjoyed it tremendously from start to finish. The lights and displays were really well done and there was no waiting to get in to it. I am glad that all you had to was roll down your windows so you could hear the Christmas music as you rode along in the car. We had smiles on our faces all the way through and off to Nashville we continued. We would definitely do this activity again and tell others about it so that they could enjoy it too.

We had Liv and Cam as our zip line guides!! They made a fun experience even more fun! They were informative and funny. Highly recommend giving it a try!!

My husband, 9 year old son and I took the morning zip lining excursion with Julian and Lucy. The experience far exceeded our expectations. We’ve all done zip lining before and I thought this one wouldn’t be as exciting given it was under ground. Wow, was I wrong!

The zip lines were far scarier, but far cooler than the typical outdoor lines. With the glow in the dark decorations and minimal lighting, you could just make out the cavern below you, but not enough to shock you. It gave for an eerie and thrilling ride.

Lucy and Julian were confident, quick and very personable. It was clear they knew what they were doing which gave this mom the peace of mind I needed to know we were safe.

We had three 8/9 year olds in our group and they all did great, but I could see a little kid who scares easily, getting scared and not wanting to complete the course. Thankfully they have a “turn back” point if your child doesn’t want to do the big zips at the end. If your child is prone to scare easily, this might not be for them.

We went during the holiday lights which gave us some extra lights to see and some festive music to listen to. I would have loved to have driven through the lights as well, but the open tram wasn’t available when we wanted to go and my child didn’t want to drive through with the car. We’ll be sure to come back another year and try that as well. Overall, we were very impressed with the whole operation and we will definitely come back again.

Mega cavern zip lining was amazing. Lindsay and Miranda were the perfect guides. The only thing that was not worth it was the picture. I thought from the website that we would actually get a picture of us zipping, not just standing.

We did the zip-tour with Ken & Julian- the BEST guides. They were to the point and kept things moving with a fun, positive attitude the entire time. We felt safe and prepared for each part of the tour. In short, they deserve a raise!! We’d settle for employee of the month, though.

We had a great time zip lining!!!! A lot of thought was put into this place. Our guides Tyler & Mady were fantastic and so patient and helpful with our 11 year old daughter who panicked at the first zip line. They got her comfortable and she did it and loved it. Booked the tram tour of the Mega Cavern for our group of 7. Plenty of parking was available and check-in was easy. Our tour guide was Olivia and she was great - took time to answer any and all questions asked and was knowledgeable about the cavern. Unfortunately, we all agreed that the tour was just not that great. It was not Olivia’s fault, as I said she was great, but the entire first portion of the tour really felt like a promo for their zip lines. Don’t get me wrong, the zip lines are a cool feature and experience but I booked a tour of the cavern, not a sales pitch of their other attractions. I felt like the information shared was all pretty basic and the overall experience was underwhelming.

We did the zip line experience and had a great time! Zinner and Reese were great guides-very helpful and lots of laughs. Would highly recommend!

My grandson and I did the zip line and had a great time Cam and Anajae did a great job as our tour guides. I would definitely recommend. Key things…you are walking in a dimly lit area on very uneven terrain so you really need to be careful. You will be walking uphill so be mindful of that if you have any physical limitations. This activity is good for any age as long as you can manage the walking. The music could have been a different genre for my taste. That was the least enjoyable part. There are five zip lines and two suspension bridges throughout the experience. If you are afraid of heights being in the dark will help. You have zero clue of how high you are.

We took the Christmas Expressway to see the lights in the cave. It definitely did not disappoint - it was totally worth every minute. People were so friendly. It was so beautiful, can’t wait to go again, they say it changes every year.

We decided to book this last minute on a rainy day! It was perfect. We booked the zip line experience and had great guides! Cam and Zinner made it a fun experience as well as keeping us safe. Its a great place to go , especially on a raint day!

We were in Kentucky ,originally from Michigan, for cheerleading Nationals and found this gem on the list of fun things to do! We did the zip line coarse and it was SO much fun!! Definitely worth the money and our tour guides Ezra and Jaden were fantastic!! Definitely recommend!!

The $100s for the zip lining adventure was so worth it, 2.5 hours of zip lining sounds long but your having so much fun that its not going to feel like a long boring adventure. Shoutout to Cam and Zinner, they made the adventure so fun and enjoyable for us and everyone on the adventure.

What a great time zip lining with family. David and Julian were so kind to me knowing that I was the only one in the group who had never zip lined. The caverns are so much fun and the lights are so much fun. My grandson was a pro at it and had a blast. I am so glad I got out of my comfort zone and had such fun doing it.

Experience was good and interesting to see the cavern...not great, compared to other ziplines we have done, but the guides were good and we felt safe the whole time. Don't buy the photo package. It costs $10 and you get one camera photo standing. Nothing on the zipline and no video, so pretty much nothing for your money.

The zipline experience was awesome! It was our first zipline experience, and it was really exciting. The guiding crews (Maddy & Miranda) were extremely experienced and caring. We, particularly my son, were really nervous about this, but the crew made everything so easy and enjoyable. We will definitely go back to the zipline again.

We had an amazing time today on our 33rd anniversary with Cam and Zin as our guides at the Mega Cavern Zipline in Louisville Kentucky. We’re 71 & 72 years old and we did just fine with it. Go for it, you won’t regret the experience.

So much fun! Dress for humid but comfortable temperatures. Our guides, Riley and Vanessa, were fun, energetic but most of all safe. They constantly infused their humorous banter with reminders of what to do or not do. The lighting displays were really cool! If there was one disappointment, it was that the music wasn’t playing that day. Pretty minor thing.

Bucket list experience for our 41st anniversary. Jaden & Julie were the best guides, keeping safety and fun the focus. Hubs is 81 years young and can't walk as fast as the rest of the group, but Jaden stayed with him and made sure we weren't left behind. Truly a great and fun experience. Highly recommend. We didn’t know what to expect so when we arrived we followed the signs telling us how to get to the checkin desk area. We were greeted with smiles and enthusiasm. Nick checked us in and was one of our guides. The safety briefing was clear and getting our gear on was easy as it went step by step. Throughout the zip line experience (Team 3) Cam and Nick made us feel comfortable, supported while having a blast! They were funny and very engaging, it made our nerve go away quickly! We also loved how they interacted with each other, you can tell they and the other team guides really enjoy working together. Overall we had a blast and highly recommend doing the zip line experience. Take a break from bourbon and do something different! The whole experience was a 10/10!!!

Spent Labor Day Weekend in Louisville and this was a fun surprise. Our tour guide Charlie was fun and educational. The tour was about 75 minutes.

My wife and I came here today Aug 23rd and had a blast 10/10 experience. The two ladies Lizzy and Maddy were phenomenal. Super fun, helpful and just a overall great experience. Would definitely come back for a 3rd time and recommend.

Riley and Ray were our guides; they were fun and made the experience more enjoyable and felt safe going with them. The zip lines were great. The only complaint I have is I paid for a picture which the website made it seem like it would be taken mid zip line, but it was just a phone picture posing while standing with zip line course in the background, that was very disappointing and misleading- management needs to address this and not make advertising misleading or even better, make the picture you pay money for to be taken while going down the zip line. I could have taken my cell phone and took a picture just as good with what they offered. Don’t waste your 10 dollars paying more for the picture offered. Again, very more management for this issue.

Lizzie and Jaden were awesome! They were quite personable and gave easy instructions! They made it fun! Of course it was already super fun since it was IN A CAVE underground! Got to zip over some canyons. The suspension bridges were cool too! We have zip lined in lots of places but never in the dark underground. Highly recommend it. Oh and their restrooms were clean. Always a bonus.

We visited the Lights Under Louisville Christmas display while traveling through Louisville over Thanksgiving, and it was such a fun and memorable excursion. Driving through a cavern filled with holiday lights is such a unique experience — unlike anything we’ve done before!

The displays were creative, festive, and a great way to kick off the holiday season. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to add some Christmas cheer to their trip.

Such a cool experience! We took teens & preteens with us, and all love it! Lucy and Julie were excellent tour guides. Even the kids commented on how funny they were, and they’re tough critics. Lucy & Julie were knowledgeable and were genuinely concerned with our experience at every step of the tour. We felt very safe and had lots of fun. Our tour group was 12 and that felt like a nice size. The wait between lines was enough to give us a moment to enjoy but not so long that we were bored. Going in January, the moderate temperature was a nice break from the cold. We would highly recommend!

Fabulous place to go for a little adventure. My second time but this time I bought my niece as part of her college graduation gift. Not only quality time with family but adventurous. Zipline are fun some more challenging than others but good fun. Well worth the 6 hour drive from Pittsburgh Only 1 flaw, they make it seem for $10.00 you can have your photo taking while on the Zipline when actually your guide takes it with a cell phone while you are geared up & standing in the cavern. Then you are supposed to get the pic through email which did not happen yet. Maybe save your $$ on the picture. Our guides today were Norman & Lucy both are exceptional. Give Mega caverns a try. Yell Meatball!!

I have been ziplining before, but never like this!!! This was a truly unique experience to be able to zipline inside a cave. Our guides were Ezra and Ray. They seemed like they really like their job. They made sure that everyone was safe and had a good time. They had some good information about the cave and had some good jokes to keep us entertained during the tour. Ps. The quartz in the cave tastes like milk if you lick it. Try it! Would highly recommend this zipline tour.

Easiest zip line we have experienced. The staff does everything for you. They do all the breaking, we didn’t even wear gloves. Zinner and Keegyn were top notch leaders, and they both were funny and knowledgeable. Both were safety oriented and I felt safe the entire time.

A family from Hermany was staying with us. The 3 kids aged 15. 13 and 11 visited eith me. The guides did a hreat job working with language barrier to keep everyone safe. The k8ds said it was their best side trip do far. It was pricey, but safe and fun. Julian and Ezra did a great jib.

The cost was fine and the tour itself was great except for the awkward and overbearing soundtrack. The EDM music didn’t fit the vibe of the course and seriously detracts from experience. The lights were great and the course interesting but the music actively hurts the experience.

This is my 2nd time doing this zipline tour. It was every bit as exciting as the 1st time. They have added to the lighting displays inside the cavern making it all the more fun. Charlie, Keegan and Austin were the best. The made us feel safe and they were fun to be with.

The zipline tour with Cam and David was excellent. They were serious about safety and always followed proper mountaineering protocol, while simultaneously cracking goofy jokes and making for a memorable stop. The cave is decorated with tons of laser lights and EDM & modern pop music to heighten the experience. Our guides also shared several historical facts of the cave making me wonder if they are geologists by day? Either way, it is a great bonding event for our church youth group. Thanks again David & Cam.

The zip lining was really fun and different than zip lining I have done on the past being in the cavern. The Christmas lights made it even more interesting. Ray and Amanda were so entertaining and enthusiastic and gave me confidence that I was safe. So memorable!

Took my family on a cross country Road trip and My boys wanted to got to Louisville to make custom bats and see all the history and Hall of Famers of baseball. After that we wer looking at something people Recommended you had to do as well while my family was here. That’s were we found Mega caves Zip lining they do offer many other activities and tours but my boys has never done something like this. My wife was also terrified of the whole thing but being amazing she did it for my boys. This was such a great idea Caroline and Riley were such informative and Reassuring my wife completed the whole course and had the time of our lives. They made it more than just zip lining they really connected with the whole group and the different confidence levels of the guest. We felt so safe and the lights and themes to each zip Wes so well done and zips were fast. Something my wife was so proud of and without our Two great guides I don’t think she should have felt so secure. Extra shout out to Caroline she was fun but also made all the rules and importances of safety very clear while being funny and relatable at the same time she also did all the talking since Riley had lost his voice from other tours. Showing use great teamwork and care for their own staff and how every business claims to be like family. They showed it . Highly Recomed it for all ages. My boys are 10,9 and 7 and they will never forget this experience.

All the employees were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed reading the history as I entered. We did the tram tour and Olivia was knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. With the prices of anything you want to do being so expensive I feel that it was well worth the price.

Unbelievable how Americans turn everything into money:) It is a former limestone mine, which was initially half-filled as a garbage dump and is now commercially marketed. One part as warehouses and one part as leisure activity. You can choose between zip-line, climbing course or a round trip. Our son did the high rope climbing course and had a lot of fun. The tour was not very spectacular, although the guides really tried. We found ziplining extremely expensive

HOLY COW! The zip lines were fantastic! I have a terrible fear of heights, but my 11 yr. old son does not, so I took one for the team and off we went. We had a blast! Our guides Hayley and Riley did a fantastic job not only ensuring everyone was safe and sound along the way, but they gave use real sense of feeling safe. The heights sill bother me, but I still had a great time, the expertise of the guides and their masterful execution of safety protocols kept me feeling exhilarated rather than fearful. Guides Miranda and Julian were professional, friendly and put us at ease. We only had four in our group so we flew through the course. An extra treat was seeing the holiday lights.

We wanted to ziplining but it was all booked so we opted for Mega Quest which is ropes climbing through the caverns. Made reservations that morning, got there checked in and realized with ropes area was just directly behind us was more like a kids area at a park to occupy little ones while waiting on the main attraction rather than something that you pay $40/person to do. We decided it wasnt worth the $130 for 3 us so we tried to cancel. We only received a voucher for a future visit as the cancelation policy is more than 7 days even though we booked it same day.
My advice is to check it out before booking, maybe using the vouchers towards Ziplining in the future will seem like a better value...

We were on vacation in KY and we decided to try the zip lines at the Mega Caverns. This was my daughters and I first time doing this and it was scary at first but Vanessa and Lizzy did a great job. They were very informative and funny. Would definitely recommend this place.

This was my first time to mega caverns, this experience was so much fun my daughter and I decided to do the zip tour... Riley and Bree made this adventure so much fun and made us feel very safe. It was absolutely worth the money for this... thank you so much
