What a great tour and introduction into the bat making process. Nice movie to watch in the theater and a great gift shop. Not to mention the HUGE bat outside the building!

A fun place to tour for a quick tour. Perfect for everyone. I wanted to tour guide to go slower so I could watch the process longer; maybe I should have gone thru again.

This was a great stop during our trip to Louisville. Of course you have to get a picture with the world’s biggest bat but we were pleasantly surprised by the museum and gift shop as well. You can even get a personalized bat engraved and shipped to your door.

Really cool to see how the bats are made and see current version of today's stars bats. I also got to hold Hall of Fame Andre Dawson's bat. Pretty cool.

2025-July
We parked at a nearby lot for just $9/day and pre-purchased our tickets online a few days in advance, which made the entry process easy.
Right out front is the famous giant baseball bat—truly a sight to see! (We’ve included a photo to show its scale and history.)
The museum was clean, with well-maintained restrooms and a nice gift shop. Our tour was originally scheduled for 10:00 a.m., but we arrived a bit late and were able to join the 10:20 a.m. tour without any issues.
The tour itself was fascinating! We loved learning about the entire bat-making process—from tree selection and shaping to production and shipping. It was informative and engaging from start to finish.
One highlight was the free batting cage, where visitors can take a few swings, and the giant metal glove sculpture outside makes for a fun photo op. At the end of the tour, each person received a free mini bat as a souvenir—such a nice touch!
We also discovered that personalized bats are available for purchase, starting at $70. A perfect gift or keepsake for any baseball fan!
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. It’s a fun, hands-on, and educational experience for all ages!
We had a great time visiting the Louisville Slugger Museum!

This tour feels like a must do if you’re in Louisville. The factory itself is smaller than expected, but it was a neat experience with some cool history.

Book a tour time in advance on their site! We missed ours and were rescheduled on-site with courtesy and great service. Our guided tour was very interesting and informative....the guide was great with the kids and the working factory aspect was impressive. The info about the company's reforesting and responsible land use and recycling efforts are impressive & appreciated. Great museum, shops and extras without a guided tour, FYI. Highly recommend visiting!

So cool to see a family owned company from the 1800’s still in operation!
We learned so much about bat making, I had no idea it was so involved! From the type of wood used, to the weight and dimensions! Incredible that players can order 100+ of the exact same bat. We truly enjoyed all the player histories too!

This was a great visit. From the moment of seeing the giant bat at the entrance to holding an original Babe Ruth used bat to seeing the entire manufacturing process WOW! Thanks for a great visit

I visited the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory with my son in April 2025. I am not a baseball fan, but I was curious to learn more about the business side of things. Overall, the experience was interesting, but it felt overpriced for what you get.
The exhibition area is quite small, and the main attraction is the 30-minute factory tour. The tour takes you through five stops, and at each one, you watch a short video explaining part of the bat-making process. It was informative but I was expecting something more hands-on or interactive.
At the end, you do get a mini bat as a souvenir, which is a nice touch. Still, given the limited exhibit space and the format of the tour, I do feel it is NOT worth the price.

The Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory was a real highlight of our trip to Louisville. My wife is not much of a baseball fan, but she loved seeing and learning about the process of making the bats, as well as seeing all of the displays of players from the past.

We spend the morning here during Kentucky Derby week, parked at the garage connected to the museum & factory so that was convenient and very safe. Since we will be in Louisville all day, it was great to just leave the car there and pay the all day rate. Downtown Louisville is very walkable.
The museum had interesting displays and history explained. They also had people onsite doing demonstrations. We did not buy tickets online, it was very easy with zero wait. Joined the tour to go into the actual factory shortly after we went through the gallery. There is also a "vault" that you could go in to see all the bats.
The factory tour was the most fun part of this experience. We learned a lot about the business. There were plenty of "hands on" opportunities. We got to hold several torpedo bats, which is all the buzz at the moment. They've automated some of the production, while kept a lot of the customization manual. It was nice to watch the video that explains a particular station, and then have the guide explain further and answer any questions.
At the end of the tour, each visitor gets a mini bat as souvenir. Be sure to visit the batting cage and get a photo with the giant bat that is 2+ stories high outside. The restrooms are very clean and convenient. This is a great experience for us.

One of the best tours I have done and I've done ALOT!!!. This tour was not super long but very informative and we got to see the way the bats are made with workers working and each stop explained to us. The tours were small groups so it wasn't crowded. They explained the whole process from picking the lumber used to the end result. I would do this tour again !!!!Great job !!!

A fun stop in Louisville for Derby weekend. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Young guy but knew his stuff. I would have given the site a 5 but it is a little pricey.

My spouse and I both have a manufacturing background so we really enjoyed seeing how the bat is manufactured -- who knew all the details! Enjoyed the factory tour plus holding Babe Ruth's bat. Small factory for the volume they produce. Appears to be a good place for kids too and they have a nice gift shop -- plus you get a free mini-bat.

This was at least my 4th trip to Museum and Factory. Very well done. Worth the trip. Great for kids and adults. They give away mini bats after the tour. Even adults love them! Nice souvenir shop.

This starts as an interesting and informative tour of the Louisville Slugger factory, and it is followed by visiting the museum featuring famous baseball players (and their bats). We thought the exhibits were outstanding. There is also a video game room and some other activities for kids. Highly recommended!

We reserved tickets for a Tuesday afternoon in October. Busy, but not crowded. I really enjoyed the tour. Learning about tree to bat manufacturing was interesting. Recommend.

The tour and museum is $22 and you have a timed entrance for the tour part. The tour took about 30 or 40 minutes, mostly watching videos at about 4 or 5 stops along the way. You get to walk through where they are actively making bats which is pretty neat. The museum part itself isn’t very big but it was interesting for something to do in town. We enjoyed learning about all the work that goes into making a bat. They have a neat little section where you can take a picture posing with a bat from some famous players. The free mini bat to take home at the end was fun. Great for baseball enthusiasts but anyone could enjoy this tour.

I really didn't understand why this is a sought after attraction in Louisville. There are other places to see.

Really great experience for someone who grew up playing softball with siblings who grew up also playing baseball. It was really fun to see a lot of the history of the sport and how they’re still making bats today. Felt like a kid in a candy shop!
You can even step into a batting cage (like my husband did) and try out swinging a bat that’s styled after historic players, or some fun ones like a Savannah bananas players of today.

The tour, small museum, room with silver slugger awards and gift shop all make for a 60 to 70 minute experience. All is very easy to manuver around. You see all the places in the factory that makes for creating a bat. The tour was informative and interesting and at a pace that works perfectly. Free mini bar at the end. The museum does contain high end baseball artifacts that would be at home in Cooperstown. I thought it was worth the cost and time. Nice break from bourbon tours with a ton of history.

The Louisville slugger museum is very cool and informative and it was so much fun to see the old, and new baseball history and memorabilia. The giant bat outside the front is just fun to look at and take a picture with.

Well organized and good exhibition area. Tour moved along quickly and was informative. I wish there were a few more benches to sit on while waiting!

We enjoyed our tour. Interesting process of making the bats and how they've changed over the years, and how they can adapt to any team or player. Also enjoyed the history. You can have a bat personalized with purchase, and you get small bats as a token of taking the tour.

This is a must see for true baseball fans. You have an opportunity to hold the bats of some of their most famous players. You also get the opportunity to watch the bats being made and are given a souvenir mini bat as you leave. The trip was fun for the entire family. The only thing that I wished were that the tours were longer. You're shuffled through the facility fairly quickly, so you don't get to spend much time at each station and the tours are pretty full, so getting time to get up to the machines, etc.. is limited.

What a joy. I’ve had a long relationship with baseball and this is one of the finest moments. Staff was pleasant and even one of the factory workers added in some comments.
If you’re a life long lover of the game this place should be on your bucket list.

Made a pit stop here on a business trip. The guides clearly love their jobs! A lot of good information and smells so good! Love that it’s a working factory

Fascinating factory tour, knowledgeable guide, Museum is a shrine to baseball history bested only by Cooperstown itself. Some hands on experiences. A must for baseball fans.

Very cool experience. Tour guide had lots of knowledge on the family dynamics and the history of the business.

This was a factory/museum and the tour was done in a very professional manner. If you are in Louisville this is a "don't miss" place to see.

all the history of baseball bats in one location, nice size store to purchase souvenirs, opportunity to hold a famous player's bat for photo opportunity

Had a great tour on Saturday April 19th. Tour time was 12:30 and out tour guide was awesome! Provided a lot of added insights and answered questions. Fascinating history as to the start and how LS has and continues to evolve. Picked up few items in gift shop to polish off the experience. Thank you to the entire staff for great experience

It was a bucket list item to hit this factory tour and museum. While on our anniversary road trip, we added Louisville to our route.
We were blown away when we pulled up to the “Big Bat” ⚾️ You know you are in the right place for sure! I loved how the brick on the sidewalk makes up a baseball just at the base of the bat.
Inside, you find the museum and factory tour. The factory tour is very cool! From the forest to the creation of the bat…every step. So unreal to see! A cylinder of wood, shaved to a bat, the cutting of the tips, waxed or painted…it showed you all! On the way out, you are given a mini bat and you can grab a few bat nubs.
The museum has lots of wax figures and facts. Famous bats used in play, hats, bobbleheads.
A really neat area was the “Hold a piece of history.” In this area, you get to choose a bat used in a game by many famous players including Babe Ruth and Hank Aaron!
The bat vault is also cool. Has stats of every person who has had a bat made; weight, shape, length.
The Pee Wee Reese Gallery has the story of the bat. A lot of nice information.
The gift shop is very nice! Lots of bats and items made from bats such as canes, cups, etc…
Notes: Admission fee. Tickets can be purchased in advance. Active military discounts.
Good for kids. Changing tables in the restrooms.
Paid parking garage and street parking.
*wheelchair accessible parking, entrance and restrooms.

As a sports fan, seeing this was something you had to do. As a woodworker, this was a must! Seeing how a piece of wood is selected and becomes a piece of equipment was a really cool process. And seeing how a lot of it is still done by hand was something special. Try the batting cage is you have a chance.

Baseball fan, so this was really cool, even my kids liked it, had a lot for them to see and do in the factory. My five and three year old were locked in and loved they got to hold bats through most of the factory. The museum piece alone is worth stopping, Babe Ruth's bat, among others is worth the stop if you care about baseball.

Such a neat process to see! We really enjoyed it. Our guide was very knowledgeable. This is something we would do again.

This was our first stop after arriving in the state of Kentucky. Very well done and the tour guide was good (the reception/ticket girl, not so much, bored to be there). You get to actually walk the production floor, which is so very cool. The mementos in the museum were very neat. Very interesting to learn about the process and all the star athletes that came along the way. Different hands on activities for all levels of kids.

This is our second visit! We learned new things. The museum had changed a little since we were here last. We had a great tour guide! Fun stop!

This museum is a nice mix of baseball history, current baseball, and manufacturing. The factory tour is so interesting and informative. I had no idea how much work is done by hand. Located in a fun part of town and surrounded by even more things to do. Would definitely recommend this visit

amazing. They show you how they are made and how they paint them/stain them. There's a great gift shop that is reasonable prices. There's a big museum and a tour. There's a place where you can take your picture with your own camera at no cost and hold your favorite players bat. It's just good for all ages

This was a great experience for my boyfriend the baseball buff. We actually enjoyed the museum more than the bat factory tour because there were so many picture opportunities. He got to hold the bat of a famous baseball player Ozzie or Oscar somebody. Daryl Strawberry was also available, and he has an easy name to remember. It's in a cute little part of downtown. Free bat at the end.

Great experience for a family trip to Louisville. We took the factory tour and received our mini bat for completing the tour. I would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

We aren't the biggest baseball fans but we enjoyed the tour and they moved along and a good pace to keep your interest. We learned that each pro players orders a lot of bats each year!

The tour was good but too short and our tour guide talked too fast and went too fast on the tour. The facility was beautiful and definitely worth trip. Even got a personalized bat for our grandson.

The factory tour and museum is well worth the time to stop and visit. You get a peak behind the scenes into the process of creating bats for many of today’s baseball stars. Not only can you see bats being made for them you can also go back in time and hold bats used by many famous stars from the past. The museum gives a good history of the company and how it became vat of choice for many. You are also able to see the bats used by many past stars for important moments in history. The batting cage is a fun time swinging bats that fit the specs used by a variety of stars and finding out just how tough the game is.

This museum showcases history and production of the famous Louisville Slugger baseball bats made right here on the premises. You get a tour of the factory and an up close look at how the bats are made. They also have a large collection of bats tgat were used by famous major league baseball players, such as Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron, and Ted Williams. This is a great experience. Highly recommended!

Really cool tour shows you how they make the bats from start to finish, lots of interesting information and you can walk around and learn more about the players at the beginning. At the end, they give you a small bat as a take away which is now proudly at my home back in London (for anyone wondering, yes it was allowed on the plane!)

What a great little stop...we really enjoyed this place...We're such baseball fans....totally worth it!

As Australians visiting Louisville, we were keen to experience something of the American love of Baseball, even though we don't follow the sport ourselves. We found the tour very informative & loved learning how the bats are made. We also enjoyed the museum and reading about some of the greats.

Great fun! My boys really got a kick out of holding player’s bats. Thank you for your flexibility. We were able to re-schedule our tour for later in the day when something out of our control popped up. Thank you Louisville Slugger Museum!!

What a great opportunity for baseball fans to see all the work that goes on behind our favorite MLB players. The tour was well organized, and the museum was interactive and fun. I thought we would spend an hour there, but we found ourselves walking around, talking with the staff and taking lots of pictures.

This was an unexpectedly great tour. We ordered tickets on line-very easy- and spent approximately 2 hours at the factory/tour/museum. The displays are interesting and well done. The tour was well-narrated with ample opportunity to handle raw products and appreciate the process. Loved holding the Votto bat and visiting the Bat Vault. Don’t miss the theater, the movie was informative and well done. A fun tour for anyone who has ever swung a baseball bat!

Everyone in our group from age 5-seniors found something to enjoy and learn on this visit. The tour is brief but informative. There's interesting displays in the museum. Three of us also tried out the batting cages, which was fun. It was something that my dad had really wanted to do, and it was well worth it!

Very interesting, even to those that weren't huge baseball fans. Took about an hour. Seeing what goes into the creation of the bats and the interaction with the major leaguers was interesting, as well as the history of the company and past major leaguers

As a baseball fan, this was a must-see stop while in Louisville. We bought tickets in advance but that probably wasn't necessary for a weekday tour. Check-in was quick and easy and the factory tour was informative. The guide was very well informed and was able to answer all questions as well as make the tour of a what's basically a wood shop interesting. Each tourist gets a mini bat at the end of the tour. A small museum includes some baseball history and some hands-on displays. Being a Cardinals fan, it was fun to see the many St. Louis connections to the Louisville Sluffer! All in all a nice experience.

Loved getting to hold and take pictures with game used bats from several different Hall of Famers. It's amazing how quickly the new machinery turns out a bat.

Tour is really good. You get to see how a bat gets created from start to finish. It was cool holding other players bats. There is batting cage for all ages to have fun. Everyone gets a small bat at the end. The gift shop was impressive.

It is a great place for families and baseball fans. Great photo opportunity inside and outside the museum. They offer lots of tours throughout the day, so it's pretty easy to get one and we definitely recommend you do!

Very cool to see behind the scenes of an industry that has provided a high standard of service to America’s favorite sport. We were glad to see that the shavings were vacuumed out to keep a cleaner air quality and then go to a turkey farmer.
There was a great deal of information presented and the staff was friendly. Some of the displays need updating but it was an enjoyable tour.

Great experience for baseball lovers, and those more lighthearted fans of baseball. The history of baseball and key people that shaped the baseball bat manufacturing is a real treat. We even hit the batting cage on site after the tour of the factory and the museum.

My kids were glad they went and enjoyed the tour. We have four teenagers who didn’t want to go, they thought it would be boring. But after we left they said it was very interesting.

We want here on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024, to visit the museum. We felt safe in the area, and the museum was interesting if you are into baseball. The tour was intriguing but, was very short. It took only 20 minutes go through it. A lot of history with the bats and how they are made. They go into depth tell you which wood they use and why. You get to see MLB players who sign their names on the machines with cut the wood into a bat. I would definitely recommend this for kids in baseball.

A good venue in the middle of the downtown. Interesting for all but more for the kids into the game. Nice souvenir bats to take home.

Loved it! It was very informative but also concise. The factory tour is really cool. Gavin did a great job with our group. Definitely worth a visit

We loved the museum! The staff was so friendly and helpful. We had a great time taking the factory tour and my kids got personalized baseball bats made. If you are in the area I would definitely recommend stopping here.

From the moment that I heard that my wife would be attending a conference in Louisville, the Slugger Museum and Factory popped into my head. I would do everything that I could to clear my schedule, drive my wife the six hours to her conference, carry her luggage, her umbrella and anything else so that I could to visit the Slugger Museum and Factory. I was not disappointed. The tour was informative. It begins in a virtual image of the forest in Pennsylvania where the wood is best for baseball. We then move into the working factory to see how the wood is transformed step-by-step. There is historical context every where you look. Five generations of the same family run the business. We are introduced to the customization that former and current major league baseball players require for their successful season. It's not just the bats, but some of the machines are actually signed by major league baseball stars. The tour ends where it begins in an exhibition of lifelike wax figures of great baseball stars. I'm pretty sure that Babe Ruth winked at me. Seriously! It was that realistic. You also get a mini-Louisville Slugger at the end of the tour, which I treasure. I recommend this tour for every baseball fan!

very informative, learned frm start to finish how a bat is made. u even get to hold the actual bats of some of the players.....i picked D. Jeter's.
There are inter-active areas throughout the tour n museum.

We toured the museum and factory while in Louisville and it is a must for baseball fans. The history in the museum and Bat vault is amazing. You can literally hold anyone in history’s exact model bat. The factory tour is great as well as you see the hand crafted artisans make the bats. There is a batting cage and wonderful gift shop as well. Do not miss this if you love baseball

Great tour, easy to book. tons of history! Great for kids and baseball lovers. It was fun even for someone who doesn't know much about baseball. You can tell the workers take pride in what they do. The factory was clean and it was so neat to get the mini bat at the end of the tour. I highly suggest checking this out if you are in town.

Fun factory tour and museum. A chance to “visit” with baseball greats and take home your own mini-bat. Informative and interesting.

I have a house full of baseball fans so we thought this was great! My 11 and 8 year old boys stayed interested throughout the tour. The factory tour is really interesting and even though the self lead museum is small, it was still fun with several different hands on things to do including a batting cage were you can buy a token for 10 hits, a pitching emulation machine and a chance to hold professional players bats for a photo op. Worth the money. I would recommend for any baseball fans or anyone who likes learning how things are made.

Louisville Slugger is not a large tour, but it is well laid out and something for everyone - woodworking, craftsmanship, baseball. The initial museum room has a few great baseball displays including bats of your favorite players and a demo that gives one an idea of just how fast a pitched baseball travels from a batter's perspective. The free mini-bat at the end was great for the children.

I'm not even interested in baseball but I still found the tour of the factory super interesting! Highly recommend spending an hour or so here if you visit Louisville.

Wow! What a great tour and museum. The tour was very informative and who wouldn't want to hold some bats before production. The museum was great and you can hold some very famous bats and take BP with model bats of different players. It was a great stop and highly recommend

Visitors get an informative tour about the company’s history and about it making novelty bats and bats for professional baseball teams. There is a nice gift shop. There are some interesting museum exhibits that are quick to go through.

This was a fantastic experience for our group of 12. The guided tour was amazing and we had a fantastic tour guide. There are several great photo opportunities here for your family while learning about the history of the Louisville Slugger bats.

The tour was fascinating. Watching the bats be made was great but seeing the current players bats was exciting. The best was the room that had bats from players past that they would let you see, obviously not touch.

Even if you aren't a baseball fanatic, it is a fun tour. It is neat to see how the bats are made - start to finish. Also, how it used to be done and that they are replanting more trees than they harvest. You can even pretend you are swinging a bat that was used by the likes of Babe Ruth and others. Parking behind the museum on either side of street.

Friendly, inviting museum that gives fans a direct connection to most of the all time greats of the game. Learn about the process of bat making still in use. See and hold the bats of legends. Commemorative mini bat complementary as you end the tour. Well worth the time.

This is a fun experience. You get the tour plus plenty of places to view at your own pace, plus souvenirs. This is well done and well organized. Must see if you’re in the area.

We really enjoyed the tour. Bob was very informative and made everyone laugh at times. The experience was great! Thank you Bob for the pleasant experience!

The Slugger Museum and Factory is worth a stop, assuming you sign up for the tour. The museum itself is not much, but the tour is educational and interesting, even for someone with no interest in baseball (like me). I suppose I have an interest in how things are made, generally.
Beyond one section where you can hold and swing bats previously used by famous players, the museum is not interactive. We enjoyed watching the staff member pretty much hand carving a bat (showing us the way it used to be done) and the area that threw pitches at professional speeds so you can see up close just how fast those balls come at the batter. Incredible!
The tour groups are quite large and it can be hard to hear. Our tour guide also had a way of running words together that at times made it sound like he was speaking a different language. Maybe that's a Louisville accent.
In any case, it was worth going once for sure. Everyone receives a mini-bat at the end of the tour, which ended up being about 10 times larger than the "mini-bat" I had pictured in my head. They might be "mini" but my kids have still hit baseballs (and each other) with them.

The museum and factory tour were a unique experience. I'm not much of a baseball fan, but my husband is, but I definitely enjoyed this tour. I encourage families to visit.

Last time we were in Louisville and wanted to stop, they were not open so we got a pic of the giant bat outside. This time we made sure they were. We went on a Saturday. They closed at 6. We had about 2.5 hours and still could've stayed another hour. Everyone (2 adults and kids aged 13, 10, and 6) is a baseball/softball player and loved it! Maybe it wouldn't be as fun for people that don't like baseball. I would recommend the tour for people that enjoy the art of crafting a wooden bat - the woodworking and CNC machining and building with models and how they get stamped. The tour was quite interesting and moved along at just the right pace to keep the kids' attention but also to answer questions. The video game room with retro to current gaming consoles was also cool. I know we got a Super Mario Bros game and a Wii Sports Baseball game in among others. We also had fun in the batting cages. We paid for batting cages at another establishment the night before but the machines were not working. Even though the Louisville Slugger machines cost a bit more ($2 for 10 pitches versus $1.35 for 10 pitches), it was so much fun. The 6 year old was barely old enough but he got 2 hits after figuring out where to stand to be able to hit where the balls were being launched. The oldest kid played 7th grade baseball and the baseball pitches were much faster than he would normally see but he eventually got a few hits. Softball pitches were considerably slower. Gift shop was cute. Plenty of free photo ops. Really liked the bat vault, museum, free mini bat after the tour, and opportunity to pose with a real bat in hitting position of a player's bat we could choose. Only missed out on the movie. Only thing I wished that was covered but it was after closing was how or where they make metal Louisville bats (especially since the only Louisville Slugger in our collection at home is a metal softball bat).

Great inside look at the manufacturing process. Great museum. Theere was also a live demonstration of finishing a bat in the museum.

Visited on a Sunday so the metered street parking was free. No cafe, but they had vending machines.
The batting cage was 10 balls for $2.
There was a game room with~ 8-10 stations + a “free play”Ms PAC man/Galaxy machine.
The tour was great & our guide was too! It starts with a short intro film & then you enter the factory. At each stop in it, the guide speaks with a microphone👍& there are informative videos mounted above throughout. Between stops & even after the tour, the guide was very approachable for questions & extra info.
There is a tv screen in the museum that lists the activities for the day, including the movie times(see pic). We spent almost 2 hours here

We visited the factory/museum yesterday with my daughter and her two sons. I am a military veteran, they were kind to give us a generous discount.
We took a tour of the factory first. We enjoyed watching from start to finish how a bat was made. I especially enjoyed the CNC lathe where the bats were made. Various MLB players that had visited the factory throughout the years signed the late (1st pic).
We enjoyed their small museum giving homage to great MLB pkayers from Babe Ruth to Ken Griffey Jr.
To top off our wonderful day I purchased a custom made Louisville Slugger bat there (2nd pic) for my grandson.
I've been to the baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown three times in my lifetime. If you're a baseball fan this experience ranks up there with that one!

This is a great place. Now of course, the market was awesome. They have some bats you can buy, and they are high quality. Our guide for the tour was pretty awesome, she went into detail very much on how everything was made. Also, big baseball bat. Very loud at some parts, little kids might get overwhelmed because of the saws. Overall a pretty short tour. You do get a free souvenir though, great place anyways.

If you find yourself in Louisville, Kentucky head to slugger museum and factory. I am a big fan of baseball so my opinion may be biased but it is something nice to do. The ticket cost is around 25 bucks (at least that’s what I paid on a Wednesday). It’s about a 15- 20 minute tour on the process of how slugger bats are made. They have several display of players and their bates with slugger. You can roam around with cool places. They have a shop, batting cage and a cool retro games room.
I recommend and definitely if you have a kid or kids that are into baseball.

The museum was great and had a lot to offer. The tour led you through the entire process of the bats being created and allowed you to hold some of the different bats and see and hold bats from different players, past and present. There were also areas to take batting practice and get your own personalized bats made.

Enjoyed visiting the museum and factory. Nice tour...could walk past where bats were being made and finished. Free bat at the end.

I admit that I am not a huge baseball fan, but still thought the Louisville Slugger Museum was great. They take you on a tour and demonstrate how they make the baseball bats. There's a small museum with life sized wax figures of a few famous baseball players. Fun to get to hold an old baseball bat used by a former famous ball player. I got to hold one of Babe Ruth's old bats!

Thus museum is so detailed, so well done and perfectly weaves current manufacturing with long standing historical stories. My son and husband were immediately interested and I went along for the ride but found it so enjoyable and educational.

Small but interesting museum focusing on great players who have used Louisville Slugger bats. Can easily be done on 15-20 minutes before or after the main tour. The factory tour was great. It starts with a cool video about the source of the wood used on bats and how that progresses before shipment to Louisville. Good explanation and short videos along a multi-stop factory tour. Nice gift shop at the end. High recommended.

The only reason I’m not giving 5 out of 4 is being the bat factory was not operating while I was there. We had an evening event with a large group, so it was understandable. Everything else was great!

My wife and family stopped here and was not disappointed.
We took the tour and it’s unbelievable how they make a bat. From start to finish. They have a batting cage so you can take some swings. A lot of baseball history here.

Loved this Museum and factory! The guided tour was excellent, very knowledgeable guide. You get to hold a player's bat for a photo. Watching the process to make a bat was very interesting. The displays were great!

Had been here years ago when my son was still playing ball. Great place with museum and the factory. It is so impressive how they make the bats, so exact too. Lots of parking nearby but its also not a bad walk from the downtown hotels. Love the history here and its a must see if you're in town.

I'm a big baseball fan so I wanted to see where bats were made. The tour itself is interesting but the museum was great! Small exhibits with legendary players. There was also a section where you can hold a player's bat! That was my favorite. There wasn't a line so I got to hold 3 game used bats by Andre Dawson, Ken Griffey Jr & Kris Bryant. At the end of the tour you got to take home a mini bat .

walked through the museum and did the factory tour with the hubby. it was neat to see where the Louisville Slugger is still manufactured and learn about the history behind baseball bats. It was also neat to learn about a few pro players and how LSMF makes their signature bat.

This factory and museum is a must if you are in the area. Recommend reserving your visit in advance. After the tour everyone received a free mini bat

Wonderful tour of museum and factory. The museum has several interactive activities, you can hold bats of major leaguers, see how fast a pitcher throws a pitch, plus get up to bat. The factory tour is interesting, you are shown the entire process of making a bat and get to handle bats made for actual players. Our tour guide was terrific explaining each step.

Fun experience! We enjoyed seeing the factory tour and holding the bats from some of our favorite players. The gift shop offered a variety of products and the tour guide was good. Lots of history at the museum.

Oh this was super cool. Glad we decided to do this tour and we are not even baseball fans but this was super informative and fun to do. Neat place--loved we got to choose a bat to hold for a picture of our choice.

I'm not much of a baseball fan; but I'm so glad we did this. The museum itself isn't huge but there are a lot of well done and interesting displays. You see a quick video of where and how the trees that make the bats come from and then move on to the factory tour which was really interesting. Watching a bat materialize out of a "billet" of wood was really cool. Then watching the rest of the process was just as interesting. There were other attractions available besides what we took part in. A batting cage, a bat vault...
Parking was easy and reasonable the elevator takes you directly to the museum

Great little stop! The factory tour only took 30 min and was informational and interesting enough to feel thorough. Really neat life sized models of famous players sprinkled throughout.

I used to play softball as a kid, so I know a bit about the sport. However, I’m not a huge MLB fan. This museum is definitely for a person who enjoys professional baseball. Lots of information on various players and the ability to hold various bats of famous players. If you take the factory tour, you also get a small bat to take home.

Great stop in Louisville, interesting tour, just the right amount of time to spend on a tour…get to see the machines in action…pose with life size figures and take home a mini souvenir bat. Enjoyed it.

Spent a week in Louisville for the NSRA Street Rod show. This was a work related trip. Louisville is one of the top foodie destinations in the country. The amount of restaurants and bars is amazing. Bardstown Road is lined with great places for miles. I recommend Hammerheads bar and Mark's Feed Store although there are many others. Take advantage of the Louisville Slugger tour and stroll across the walkover bridge that goes to Jefferson, Indiana where there are some great establishments as well. The NSRA show is always a big hit with over 10K cars on display each year.

The best part of the tour is getting to watch the bats being made from beginning to end, and learning about the family history of this company. If you're not a baseball fan you should still enjoy watching the manufacturing process. The museum portion is small but there are interesting displays, including the opportunity to hold one of many bats used by the best players in baseball history. Our only disappointment is that the people on the production line were taking a break around 10:30 a.m. and we didn't get to see the full production process - just idle machines. We had to rely on the videos at each station. Nevertheless...it's great for families and baseball fans alike. Great photo ops inside and outside the museum.

Good experience. Very short tour. Not a lot of detail. You don't learn much but this is a real working factory and worth the stop. Sparse crowd. No lines. Easy parking. Interesting gift shop.

The factory tour is excellent. You walk right through a working factory. Tour guide Joe did a great job. Museum is enjoyable as well. We loved being able to hold a bat used by Babe Ruth (many players to select from). We parked around the corner and were harassed by a vagrant walking to the building. That wasn’t great. Overall though I recommend this museum/factory to any baseball fan.

This is a real working factory with an attached museum, they take you on the floor and you see actual bats been made, it's not a "show" at all. You learn some fascinating things about bats and feel a part of the national pastime. Handling bats used by famous players (I posed with a game-used Babe Ruth bat, and anyone can) can be a thrill.
That being said, this is really for the true baseball fan. If you're not, that's fine, but you simply won't get as much out of the experience.

As other reviewers have said, this is a fun museum even if you aren't a huge baseball fan. I have always loved baseball and played little league baseball when I was a kid. So, I was really looking forward to seeing how the bats were made. I was a little worried my wife would be super bored. Turns out she really enjoyed the museum and factory tour as well. Our tour guide made the tour fun, interactive and very informative. The bat vault tour was very interesting as well. Would highly recommend this museum and factory tour.

The factory tour of the Slugger Museum is for folks who are not only baseball fans but woodworking fans as well. Worth the stop in you're in the area to check it out.

We had a nice time at our tour, nice for all ages. Informative and interesting. Our guide was super, I can’t recall his name, kudos!

Hands on experience of holding the actual bats from our baseball legends! The factory tour was very interesting - we never knew the details that goes into making the bats.

Terrific “All-Star” tour…paid extra but so worth it - great guide, Cooper, took my husband & I thru the factory. Made sure we saw everything, even though it was a lunch hour - we got to go back & see anything we missed. All the employees were very nice, friendly & ready to show off their part of the process. Loved the personal touch & added benefits of having this one-on-one experience. Can’t wait to get our bats!! 😃❤️

Nice tour which shows how sustainable the bats have become. Great walk through the factory while operations were ongoing, and a small bat for a gift at the end.

What a fun experience! We parked in the garage behind and the elevator opens right into the museum. The museum is filled with lots of displays and factual information. The factory tour was great. Our guide, Peter, was really good an patient with us as the group was large. He only moved on after everyone had a chance to see/do each tour stop. Being Phillies Phans, loved seeing and holding the bats on order for Kyle Schwarber. Everyone getting a little slugger at the end of the tour is a nice touch. Gift shop has a large selection of items for sale.

Came here for my husband since he’s the baseball fan but I still had a good time. It’s your typical 30 minute tour through a factory but everyone will enjoy it in your group, even the non sports fans. Well worth the time and money!

This was a fun excursion while visiting downtown Louisville. The tour of the factory is rushed (they have so many tours scheduled) but still fascinating. My favorite part was getting to hold a bat used by Babe Ruth. The price is a bit steep ($24 pp for a 30 minute tour and 30 minutes of exhibits) but you do get a free "mini" bat.

As a baseball fan, I had to make a stop at the Louisville Slugger Museum while I was in the city. I left with mixed feelings, however. First, the museum exhibits are informative and contain some great examples of old bats. The tour itself was neat. It lasts about thirty minutes. A guide takes you around the factory and you watch some videos about the various stages of the manufacturing process. One note is that the videos are unsurprisingly pretty loud, since you are directly on the factory floor. I made the mistake of standing directly underneath one of the speakers on the first stop and was a little overwhelmed. However, at $24 per person, this tour is way overpriced. I was expecting a much larger museum and longer tour for the price I paid. In all, it only took around an hour to see everything. There were some other extras I could've done, but I did not feel like spending any more money after paying the high admission fee!

My boys had so much fun at this museum. The factory tour is quick and the boys loved holding bats made for players. They also loved grabbing a ton of the nubs at the end! The free mini bat is great. They loved posing with all the life size baseball player statues and they had a great time holding hall of famer bats but my oldest son was disappointed the one he really wanted to hold was locked up. I think all of them should be available. This is definitely worth a visit.

We visited early on a Thursday afternoon for our 1:20 tour. Tour guide was very friendly and informative making the tour very interesting and enjoyable. Learned a lot about the history of this bat making factory and the numerous steps it takes to produce the "perfect" bat especially for individual major league players. Found the museum to be interesting also.

My wife and I went even though we are not baseball fans. It was very interesting to see the history and how the bats were made. There were some "hands on" displays and each stop (of 5) had a speaker for the tour guide to explain what the stop was.
Worked great until the last stop and even with the speaker, could only understand about every 5th word. Which is strange because the video they played at that stop I could understand everything.
I suggest showing up for your tour early. There's two rooms of displays before the factory tour. If you finish the displays early, it appeared you could join any factory tour, there was no "check" to see if you were assigned that tour.

I enjoy factory tours and it was interesting seeing the bats in their various stages. There are some places where you see the different machines in action and other places where you watch a video providing information. There is an area to explore at your leisure before/after the tour with an opportunity to hold a well known players bat. It's about a 2 hour visit.

I went on Saturday and enjoyed myself. The tour was so cool! It was interesting to see how baseball bats are made, and I even got to hold the bat of a current major league player! FYI, the tour guide said the souvenir miniature bats you get to keep at the end of the tour can't be taken past security, so you have to either check your bag or pay to get them to ship it to you. I flew home from SDF airport today, and I had no problem getting past security with it in my backpack. They even sell some mini-bats at the airport!

Great place to visit while in town. We toured this and if you love baseball, worth it. Great for kids also. No lines and was easy to get to

We had a great morning at the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory. The tour of the factory was very interesting and was fascinating to see how they make the bats. The museum was great also with lots of history of some HOF players, stories and tributes. The staff was professional and the guide was knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour and museum.

This was so interesting! We learned so much about how bats are made. They have wax figures of some of the more famous players and some signatures and uniforms. You receive a small bat at the end of the tour and can also make your own.

Cannot say enough wonderful things about this experience. Everything was great - purchasing tickets was easy, information was easy to navigate on their site, the factory tour was informative and took a perfect amount of time, and the self guided museum time was fascinating! So many cool facts! Great tour for all ages!
Perhaps the coolest was being able to hold players actual bats - include Babe Ruth's bat, which is very heavy!!!
A great experience - highly recommend even if you're only a little into baseball!

This was an excellent tour. Our guide Josh was exceptional. Knowledgeable and passionate. He's also an excellent craftsman. Saw him working on a bat prior to our tour. The facility is incredible. Just remarkable how they are repurposing as much as they can. Make you feel very good about the operation.

If you love baseball, you need to go here. The factory tour was terrific but it was the chance to hold my favorite player's bat from a game that I'll remember. You can also go into the bat vault and see the bat models of your favorite players and learn which players throughout history used the same models. Lots of famous bats and historic games are on display, too.

A great insight into the history of bat making and how they are still made today. The tour was informative and very interesting. The free mini bat at the end of the tour is a great memento. We really enjoyed the tour and it is good value for money.

We enjoyed our tour of the museum and factory. Very interesting and informative. We enjoyed all the memorabilia. Highly recommend the tour.

Awesome tour especially if you are a baseball fan. Book in advance as this is a popular tour. There's a lot to see and also a children's activity room. We took the tour, a large one, through the factory where they make the bats. So interesting and you get an actual small sample of a piece of a bat after the tour. One part of the museum honors the players who have used their bats. Another part had cubbies of pre-made bats of active players. If the player needs a new bat, they just call up for however many they need. As Philadelphia Phillies fans, we were excited to see the cubbies of Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber. Of course, you have to stop the gift shop and outside the museum have a photo op posing in front of the very large bat with the picture taken by your party.

My family had a wonderful time learning the history of Louisville Slugger and seeing the bat factory. It was a great experience and the free mini bat at the end of a great bonus.

Such an informative and interesting tour. Thank you Luke! I really enjoyed the displays, escpecially the hands on experiences.

This was the second time I visited this place. It was the first time for my husband to visit it. We both enjoyed it, immensely. The first time I visited was with a daughter and two grandsons. We greatly enjoyed it then which prompted me to take my husband when the opportunity arose. Both times I went, I was glad to see information about Dot Richardson, who played fast pitch softball at Western Illinois University. I worked in Intercollegiate Athletics at WIU during her playing years there. I never met her, yet she was a great athlete. Great athletes are honored by the Louisville Slugger Museum.

Even if your family is not huge baseball fans, this is still a great place to visit. My 12 and 8 year loved seeing how the bats were made. They also liked looking at the bat vault. My husband and I both enjoyed it as well. It is about $20 per person for about 1 hour or hour and a half. It will not keep you busy for a long period of time but it is interesting. Parking in the ramp south of museum was about $12.

My husband and I had a great time at the museum and factory. Our tour guide, Kassidy, was very knowledgeable; the museum had many artifacts to explore and was very interesting; and the factory itself was amazing! I will never forget that smell of fresh lumber. We went on a Sunday, so I wasn’t sure how busy it would be. Our tour group was maybe 20 people total. In the museum and the factory, we got to see people working at the various stations demonstrating the machinery and the process as a whole. Very cool to see up close and personal. I would definitely recommend you go, and we will certainly be coming back with our son when he is a little older (he is currently 2 and has the attention span of a gnat). Go Reds!

Even as a person that is not very into sports or baseball, this is a great museum and factory tour! The museum has lots of really cool artifacts and exhibits. There is even an area where you can hold gave used bats from famous athletes including Babe Ruth. The factory tour is super educational, you get to see the process of making bats from beginning to end. You even get a free souvenir bat to take home! Worth a few hours of your time if you are in Louisville.

Really enjoyed our visit, even as only casual baseball fans. We visited during the week between Christmas and New Years and it was busy, so would recommend reserving your tour in advance online if you want a certain time. The tour was really interesting because you get to walk through the area where they're actually making bats right in front of you- you learn about the process that starts in the forest and ends with the finished product. Everybody gets a mini bat to take with them- they tell you to be sure to pack the bat in your checked baggage, not allowed on carryons!

I love this place it was so interesting to learn about all the players and number of bats. The history on this company is exceptional!

We really loved the Museum and all the History behind making the bats. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Well worth the visit. Great job!

Went for a 10am tour. Its a solid effort with a lot of interactive tours in the museum and a neat tour of the factory. Overall 8.1/10

Dear readers, do you love factories as much as I do? I love seeing how things are made, and this tour did not disappoint. even if you are not a baseball fan, I think you will still enjoy the history aspect as well. My kids loved it...I recommend ordering your tickets online, it makes it easier, but it was not that busy, if you buy there...I am not sure if it was the time as well, and we just got lucky. There is a lot to see other than the tour as well...there was a lot of memorabilia, and other facts about the sport as well.... they will then call out your tour time, and you gather in a waiting area before entering the factory. Once inside you get to see the baseballs bats being made....all the steps they go through, you even get a couple of souvenirs at the end. I would recommend signing up for the batting cage, it does get busy. You can also get your bats personalized...all in all a neat place to visit. I wish they might of mentioned if they plant a tree for everyone they removed!

We enjoyed our tour of the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory. Very informative; happy to learn about the re-forestation efforts of the company and also about the different trees and the associated characteristics of the wood to ensure that the bats are made from the best possible tree. The bat-making process is fascinating; we also enjoyed the history both of the company and the great baseball players with whom they had contracted for their custom bats. Friendly and professional staff; What a great gesture to give visitors a free bat as a souvenir.

It brings back all the memories of being a professional ball player. Bucket list opportunity! I'm not crying, you're crying! The old timers bats were simply amazing!

This was a stop on our bus tour and loved it. Great history about how bats are made and some samples of the things they are doing now. I would highly recommend for any baseball lover

Great tour guide and small group made this tour of the factory a great experience.
Loved learning about the family history, from company owner, selection of the trees for cutting, machinery used, to professional signature on the chosen professional baseball bats. At the tour end, a lovely gesture to choose a mini baseball bat as a souvenir to take home. Well worth a visit!

We were super excited about the tour. We went at 10am and there was no one working in the plant! So we got to see machines just setting there and none of the actual process. The tour guide talked some but most of it was watching tv videos at 5 different stops. We did get a mini bat at the end of the tour. If we knew thays how it was gling to be we would have skipped it.

Learned a lot on how bats are made. Enjoyed the autograph wall by the players using these sluggers. Plenty of photo opportunities and some hands on stuff. And you get to leave with a mini bat.

The museum and factory tour is great. Very informative. The best part was being able Togo I to the actual working factory and see how the bats are made. We ordered 2 personalized bats and they were done by the time the tour was finished. The bats are beautiful. I know the boys are going to love them.

A neat experince for the whole family! Be sure to take the tour. It may be a little long for younger kids, but there is a reward at the end!

The visit was fun. The bat factory tour is interesting but short. Try to get there before 2:00 P. M. as activity begins to wind down. The Museum is interesting but small. There are activities for children. Most interesting part is the Gift shop. Total visit was 90 minutes which was ideal for my wife and I. Would recommend. Easy to park and easy access to main road.

This is a must visit place for baseball fans and non-baseball fans. So much history and unique information on bats! Amazing small size of the factory for all that it produces. I would visit anytime I am in Louisville.

My husband and I took the factory tour and museum. They take you through the process of making the bats. It’s actually pretty interesting. We enjoyed all the memorabilia. Looking for our favorite players on the plaque wall was fun. And the whole thing was surprisingly accessible for my wheelchair. Great time.

I am not a baseball fan. Since the expos of Montreal moved, I haven't seen baseball. However, this was something to see and I enjoyed the tour. We learned a lot, from tree selection, to shapes, through sizes and colors and special bats.
The small museum also offers a few cool photo ops!
You can buy bats as well, and order some custom ones right there.
It was a fun end of day, and certainly something we'll never see anywhere else.

Not a baseball fan, but found the process of making the bats very fascinating! I also enjoyed seeing someone carve a bat by hand!

The museum & factory was fun to tour how the bats are made from start to finish for both pro athletes and regular players. It has great interactive areas to read up on the history and see even the bat vault where templates are for some of the most famous player of all time.

Cool Place with some history of the game and the bats used. Interesting process of making a bat. Nice way to break up the day between bourbon tastings.
We enjoyed the tour guide and her knowledge of the process.

This was a fun tour to add to our afternoon of tours in Louisville. Spent a long weekend in Louisville and added the basic tour to our various tours around town the weekend we were there and it was interesting. While I'm not a baseball fan, we found it fascinating to see how strict it is for the company when making their bats. They go through the process of how strict they are with the specific trees/types if wood that are selected, to how they cut the bats through the finishing process. It isn't something that I would spend more than a couple hours at (bt the tour and museum and seeing the current and past bats the pros have asked for), and not something I would visit multiple times if I was to visit Louisville, but would ABSOLUTELY recommend for everyone to visit just one time to learn about and see the process.
AND if you do the booked tour, everybody gets their own complementary mini-bat at the end of the tour to take home!

What a great experience for our two boys. They are huge baseball fans and avid you players. They were absolutely beside themselves. Highly Recommended!

Definitely take time to visit this museum when visiting Louisville. A great experience! Plus you receive a small bat as a souvenir!

Wonderful to learn about the history of wooden bats made from a billet.
Bars of all colors and you can get them personalized.

We were a group of 4 and started our bourbon country tour here. It was well worth the price, and we learned a lot about bat making.

Very interesting enjoyed tour and museum great for anyone who has interest in Baseball. Great for families, easy to walk around both on tour and Museum. Really enjoyed being able to see and touch bats from some baseball great both old and new.

We were baseball fans as children and as young adults. Turned off after the 2nd players strike. But since we were staying nearby, we went. It was so much better than we thought it would be! We've both been to factory tours before, but this one was much closer to the "action" of the bat making. The backstory was also super interesting. As someone pointed out, many of the items in the gift shop were made in China, but I found a magnet made in the US of a bat, in bat shape, that is proudly on the fridge! Very friendly people, fun time. If you're nearby, GO!

This is a MUST Visit when in Louisville! I am not even that big of a baseball fan, but it was very neat to see how bats are made, for who, the whole process! I liked getting a free mini bat per person, very laid back museum/factory. I was amazed that alot of the work is done by hand and not by machine. I think it could have been just a little cheaper for what you do and get, since you have to pay extra to do the batting cage etc. But Overall a good experience! Parking deck was where we ended up parking but that was okay, at least it seemed secure!

We traveled to Louisville recently with friends for a bourbon tour and decided to check out this gem of a museum while in town. I never knew three types of wood can be used in bat making. We also learned how the pros go through a process to design the specs for their specific bat. As an added bonus, I got to hold the bat Hank Aaron used when he played. A cool way to spend an afternoon.

Surprisingly fun and interesting museum. They have done a great job of making this a tour that’s fun for all ages. The historical elements are enriching and the experiential stuff is just so cool! We got to take pictures holding Babe Ruth’s bat! I highly recommend for anyone who likes baseball or seeing how stuff is made.

We had high hopes for this tour but we were disappointed. The tour is a very canned presentation which consists mainly of watching video's as you walk through the factory. The guide really did not contribute anything to the experience.

The factory tour is about 45 minutes and the machines were interesting. The bats themselves were very cool to see. The museum portion was also unique and the children all loved seeing the bats and the star power of their favorite players statues.

*Tip: They recommend you place your order for a personalized bat before the tour, BUT if you do that, you might not realize the name you are putting on it should be in script font to make it more authentic. I didn’t. I put the name in block and the inscription in script, and I’m pretty sad about it. Other than that, interesting tour and very kind guides. Would definitely recommend.

A fascinating glimpse of the production process for Lousiville Slugger and the history behind it. We went on thr All Star Tour, which gave us an in depth look at the whole bat making process. We also got a fascinating look at the blend of new school and old school tech the company uses to produce bats for major leaguers and the general public. Josh was an excellent guide who was a fountain of info and was also very friendly. A must do for all baseball fans!

Did the factory tour and museum while passing through Louisville. The tour was excellent (wish I remembered our guides name). It’s a working factory so being able to see things in progress was great!

A great tour and anybody who loves baseball would love visiting this place. The factory tour was amazing and it was great listening to the tour guide explaining the history of the company the types of wood used and watching how the bats are made. It’s amazing how the computerized machines do the work and the number of bats turned out. The museum was interesting as well as the bat room. The store had a lot of of baseball souvenirs for sale and we brought home a bat for our grandson along with some shirts. If your going to Louisville make sure to include the Louisville Slugger Museum on your trip.

This place is awesome. They show you all about how to make bats plus all the history about them. At the end of the tour you get a free mini baseball bat which is pretty cool.

Spent some time at the Louisville Slugger Museum and just had a great time on the tour. Great for families, couple and baseball fans of all ages. Batting cages are the plus!

This is a must-do when visiting Louisville, KY, even if you're not a huge baseball fan. The museum and tour are very well done. Very interesting and entertaining.

Love that it wasn't too crowded, that's the advantage of traveling off season. Unfortunately the disadvantage is that off season is when repairs, construction,.. take place, so there wasn't a lot to see museum wise. None the less, we enjoyed the tour and even got a mini bat included in the tour price. Def. recommend it.

Unfortunately, the museum is under renovation, so it was really only a factory tour and gift shop. Still, the tour itself is a great experience for any baseball fan. I'd suggest that until the museum is re-opened, they should reduce the entry price, though.

We spent the afternoon enjoying our tour of the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory. Upon arrival you are greeted out front with the biggest baseball bat you'll even see. We had a 2:40 tour of the Factory and they are prompt. They begin right on time so make sure to pay attention when they announce your tour. You'll hear it, so don't worry. It was interesting to learn about the process of how each bat is made from cutting the tree to the final dipping of the bat. Our guide was very knowledgeable and explained everything along the way. In the museum we had the opportunity to hold and get pictures with a game used bat. There is one bat from every team. I chose the Andre Dawson bat. Walking around the museum we learned more of the history of Louisville Slugger and also about the players who used them. If you are feeling adventurous you can take a "swing" in the batting cage(10 balls for $2). I managed to make contact with most of the pitchs and so did my son. My daughter wanted nothing to do with it. Overall we really enjoyed our trip to the museum.

Nice displays. Several hands on bats experiences. The factory was very informative. Very kid friendly. One child had difficulties with loud noise. They brought the little one child sized earphones.

My family and I (kids 1-8) toured this museum & loved it. Very neat tour & tour guide was good. $18 adults, $11 kids over 5. Ticket includes mini bat for each person. Also get to hold a bat babe Ruth swung. Highly recommend.

This is a definite must-see for anyone even mildly interested in baseball. It was a very cool museum! Unfortunately, the tour was very rushed to the point where I hardly had time to take pictures or watch the machinery. I'd still recommend the trip, just disappointed I didn't have more time in the factory.

Really cool tour if you love baseball!! Not too long. They are making it even better with renovations now, but that didn't impact the tour.;

They are on a business trip; was able to fit in a visit and a tour.
Absolutely worth it if you’re a big baseball fan… And even if you’re not ( or like in my case was at one time) a good visit that won’t be much more than an hour.
The tour was very informative – smelled good in there too as well with all the wood. The tour comes with a mini slugger bat however, since I don’t check a bag, they told us the TSA will confiscate it at the airport so I gave mine to a kid.

I am not the biggest baseball fan but I do enjoy histroy..So we enjoyed this mesueum, baseball is a big part of American history and was interesting to see it from this prospective.

Interesting and informative. Any one interested in baseball should go. How a bat is made from tree to finished product.

Very nice tour to see bats being made. The factory also serves as a museum with life size models of famous baseball players and displays of game used bats, such as one used by JD Maggio when he said the record for consecutive games with a hit. Highly recommended for baseball fans.

Very cool “up close” experience…. Gift shop with customizing and personalization services for your very own Louisville Slugger, batting cages, historic exhibits and, of course, the awesome tour of the actual working factory floor where Louisville sluggers are being made before your eyes!
Oh…. And don’t forget the “ free with tour fee” miniature wooden Louisville Slugger mini-bat!
Well worth the $…👍🏻⚾️

It had to be 25+ years since the 1st time I was there. Stopped in Louisville to take the tour on my way down tp Nashville. I knew going there that the tour would be the same but I didn't let that bother me. It was what did at the end of the tour. You can take a small baseball bat and what they cut off the baseball bats

My son grew up playing baseball and I grew up watching the Os but I am by no means an aficionado. One of our friends was just thrilled however to be able to hold Babe Ruth’s bat. I enjoyed walking through the museum for 15-20 minute prior to the tour as they also include a piece on a 1908 lost all-black team as well as the women who played in WW2. The tour itself is of the actual factory so we were watching MLB playoff bats being mad. Pretty cool.

My kids are not big baseball fans, but they loved seeing how the bats were made and learning about some of the greatest hitters ever. You get to actually go into the factory and see the machines as they make the bats. There was a good blend of first person commentary and recorded videos showing how a tree becomes a bat. We loved the tiny bats you get to take home, too. A nice blend of learning, fan service and souvenirs.

This was a fun activity, I highly recommend doing the tour! It was so neat to see and it was air conditioned, which on Labor Day weekend was great. Our tour guide was excellent, very friendly and informative.

Weekend getaway always wanted to go .very interesting amazing place. Staff very nice and informative. Would not believe it's in downtown.

Fascinating tour. We took a guided tour through the factory, which waw supplemented by videos. Very informative. There is also a museum that is included with your ticket. Lots of history! And, you receive a mini bat at the conclusion of the factory tour. Highly recommend the tour!

We really enjoyed seeing the displays and history. It was fun to hold a bat from a professional player of my childhood. The factory tour was fascinating and you even get a mini bat at the end!

The tour inside the factory was really fun to see! They were making bats for the all star game. However, having tours every five minutes made our tour very rushed. Also, he tour guide would introduce what we were seeing and then show a video that told us the same thing. We love the mini bats to tale home as souvenirs!

Great tour! We didn’t have this originally as one of our stops until a client told me to make a stop and so glad we did! Really Well Done Tour! Educational and it’s so nice to see how they take such pride in their product ! We found it Informative - Interesting and Fun. Great Guide !

This is a must see in downtown Louisville. The tours are great and very informative. It truly gives and appreciation of the little intricacies in this professions. And, to boot, you get a free bat.
Do not miss this attraction!

This was a really fun stop. I was surprised because I was thinking really, we are going to a bat museum. But this was another great stop during our vacation. The museum is just a cool place, and our tour guide was great and brought some laughs and neat information. It's really a must stop!

Disclaimer - I am not a sports person but wanted to see how bats are made. This place is very cool and well worth the admission fee! We took the factory tour. I was 100% impressed with the tour and tour guide's knowledge! We saw how all sorts of bats are made - very cool! They have a decent museum "type" history of various baseball info that you can see and read. They also have a working display where a machine pitches a baseball at 90 MPH! At the end of the tour, you each get a free miniature baseball bat - very cool! They also have a very decent gift shop where you can have them make you a personalized bat (costs very) that they make for you or ship to your house. Overall, a very cool place to visit!

An amazing tour through history. We were excited to see the bats from our hometown players and actually hold a piece of history (Babe Ruth's bat). Seeing how the bats are made was really interesting and the museum was fun.

Fantastic tour through the factory actually seeing the bats made, some history, a museum of baseball greats, and of course the gift shop. Highly recommend!

We were in Louisville to visit with friends, and they recommended touring the museum and factory. We don't watch baseball or follow the game, but we still wanted to see the huge bat. The factory tour was absolutely fascinating, and it was great to actually be on the factory floor instead of looking through plexiglass. My family owned a tree farm, so the wood technology and attention to detail was interesting. Having helped a customer of mine connect their metal cutting CNC machines, it was awesome to see the wood ones in operation.
The museum was only moderately interesting to me, but we recognized many of the legendary names and enjoyed reading about how the bats and the game have evolved over the years. I was very honored to be able to hold a bat that was once used by Babe Ruth. This is definitely a top 10 place in Louisville for me.

It was very informative. A must see while in Louisville. Tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a free mini bat at the end of the tour.

Take me out to the ballgame, but first take me to the Louisville Slugger tour!
Absolutely spectacular are the only words to describe this tour and museum. This is a must see & do when in Louisville. This factory is part of American baseball history. Very educational & enjoyable. Plenty of on street metered parking available around the corner. Overall Rating ~ Excellent

Had kids ages 3-9 with us and they all enjoyed the tour and museum. It was very cool for them to see all of the aspects of bat making and see it actually happening, not just watching a video!
Our tour guide was hard to hear at times — and seemed to always be in a rush as “the next group is coming”… but we enjoyed the tour — even those of us who aren’t baseball fans. The souvenir mini bat is a nice touch!

This is a must see if in Louisville. Great tour guide. Learned a lot about the process behind the scenes. Really neat place to visit.

We spent a couple of hours here and it was worth it. The history and engineering of how the bats are made is very interesting. It is for the young and old. Loved all the old Nintendo systems with old baseball games. $2 for 10 pitches in the batting cage.

We took the guided tour and it was cool. It’s impressive to see how the bats are made and see the history of the changes in production.

The museum was an amazing experience for my baseball loving family. All the extras that went into the tour of the facility from the start were great. We also purchased several things from the gift shop as well. ⚾️

Didn’t think I would be that interested in this tour but it was actually very good. So much done by people vs machines and very interesting. Staff on the lines working were engaging so very different from a modern factory setup. We loved our free mini bats!

As a local I took advantage of the $5 after 5 pm deal that actually ended today(August 31). Sorry, folks. Although I am not a huge baseball fan the tour takes you into a working bat factory where you can see step by step how the bats are made in this 30 minute tour. It actually is interesting. Most people have to get their picture taken with the giant bat in front of the building. And yes, you do get a miniature bat at the end of the tour.

Being a big Dodger fan, this stop was a no- Brainer. Taking the tour and learning all about Louisville slugger bats from the trees to the finished product and the amount of bats produced was amazing. Also being a huge Mickey Mantle fan, I was a little disappointed that there was not that much recognition of him, but 100 % worthwhile tour. At 75 years of age, I even took a turn in the batting cage. Although the hardball was only at 45mph, I managed to make some contact in my 10 swings

Incredible place, really worth stopping by and learning about the history of baseball bats and how they are made. It's something different. It's really a good place to share with friends and learn.

We aren’t super into baseball. However, the tour was only about 30 minutes. You can use a camera even though they say that you cannot. It was neat to see how they are made. The museum aspect probably is more exciting for baseball fans. You get a free mini bat at the end which was cool.

Very informative and a unique experience! Enjoyed seeing the bats being made and learning about the process. Definitely worth a visit!

This is a must see for any baseball fan. They tell you exactly how the bats are made; everything from the tree in the forest to the finished product. In addition, there’s awesome displays of different famous big league players.

Fascinating how they make the baseball bats. Shows from the tree to the finale product. Who knew that bats are made out of difference types of wood.

I really enjoyed this museum. The exhibits were very interesting. They displayed many different batsfrom every era of baseball. The factory tour was fantastic. You got to see bats from every era of baseball. The process of making a bat was very interesting. I enjoyed posing with the bats of some favorite players.

Great museum. It took about 90 minutes to do it all, and that includes a 20 minute tour that leaves every five minutes (at least in the summer). The tours leave all the way up until closing, but if you’re on the last tour then that will be the last thing you do. Give yourself time and make sure to check out the Bat Vault which was previously closed to visitors before April. Overall, recommended.

I'm not even a baseball fan and I thoroughly enjoyed the museum and tour. I had a free morning and a friend suggested the "bat museum". The exhibits in the museum were really interesting and there were some interactive parts. One man showed us how they "brand" a wooden bat, another was carving a bat by hand. The tour itself was much more interesting than I expected. They offer lots of tours throughout the day, so it's pretty easy to get one and I definitely recommend you do!

Wish I could remember the name of our tour guide. He was excellent with knowledge and great sense of humor! The factory tour was very informative. The museum was very well laid out and full of great history and memorabilia.

If you are a baseball fan, or just like to see what happens behind the scenes, the factory tour is a must see. We ordered our tickets online. There is no discount when you order your tickets online, but you can select the time that you would like to take the tour to ensure that your entire party can see the tour at the same time. The employees do check the date and time on your tickets so you cannot sneak in if you arrive early.
Before and after the tour, you can check out their exhibits and watch their demonstrations.
The tour itself lasts 90 minutes and you learn so much – from the different types of wood used, how the bats are painted, etc. During the tour, you are allowed to take pictures and you are encouraged to ask questions. At the end of the tour, you receive a complimentary mini-bat.
It is recommended that you arrive fifteen minutes early for your tour. If you miss it, you may be re-scheduled for the next tour- if there is availability.
There is no specific parking lot or garage for this attraction. There are, however, unattended parking lots where you can park for a fee.

Louisville Slugger is probably the best-known manufacturer of baseball bats. Here you can take a guided tour and get an insight into the world of baseball and the making of the bats. As a baseball fan, the tour was almost a must. But I found the tour rather expensive and might have expected a little more for this money. But still gives a good insight into the baseball world.

We have been to Louisville many times, but have never taken this tour, but we are so happy we did!
You will have a designated factory tour time, but we recommend going a little early or plan to stay afterwards to tour the museum. There are options to have a self photo taken holding some of the greatest pro bb players bats, learn interesting facts & stats of some of the greatest players (but no Pete Rose).
The tour of the actual working factory follows a short video detailing where and how trees are chosen to make the bats from. You see the actual crafting of the bats and the differences between those sold in Sporting Goods stores and those the pros purchase.
At the end of the tour you will receive a small bat as a souvenir.
The only caution is to beware of boys swinging bats…saw several close calls! The staff is good about providing cautionary measures.
Recommend this tour.

We popped in here on our way out of town and ended up wishing we had more time for the tour, but we had a flight to catch. Even not taking a tour, we were able to walk around a lot of the area and see in windows where they have the wood to make the bats and the bat vault. Plus, we got to see the world’s biggest bat!

Whether you are a baseball nut or just a spectator you need to see this tour. Tour guide very good. Thankfully still a family run business. They take you through plant and you get to see how bats are made. Museum is neat as well. Worth the visit to start your bourbon tour. Remember get tickets on line. Walk up may be shut out during busy season.

This is a great stop for a baseball fan. We had been through before, but our daughter begged to go to see how the bats were made. She loved the tour and bought a personalized bat. My favorite part was where you could hold a bat that had been used in game-play by a famous player (Babe Ruth, Roberto Clemente, Hank Aaron, etc.)

For any baseball fan, this is a MUST DO/SEE!! The factory was beyond cool to see where the bats come from and the process in which they are made. Also being able to see the billets was insane, and made for a whole new respect for the bat itself. The museum was also full of awesome experiences for children of all ages!!

Great experience. Very informative and our tour guide was full of knowledge. It’s a perfect tour for all ages. Highly recommend!

Great stop! We did not do the tour( unfortunately had a crabby 4yo), but you can see quite a bit for free, nice gift shop and found my grandpa’s bat signature or the wall which was awesome!

Great tour. This museum offers something for everyone whether baseball fans, woodworkers, historians, and visitors of all ages.

I will admit that I casually watch MLB, but we were in town for New Years and this was suggested to us by locals. You can’t miss the museum as there is a very large scale bat that pretty much invites you into the facility. Tickets were $25 each per adult and you receive a nice small scale bat at the end of the tour. I will say that it was a nice tour. Not only do you get to read the history of baseball legends but you get a tour thru the Louisville Slugger bat making factory. You get an interactive tour while seeing employee’s at work. I do think it was worth the time and money. The tour itself was about 40 minutes with any questions you may have answered. I would suggest it to an out of towner for sure.

We loved this visit! My son (13) was surprised how much he liked it. He thought mom was dragging him to yet another museum. We had a wonderful time looking at all the exhibits taking photos. Even my non sports daughter(11) was excited to hold Cal Ripken's bat. The factory tour was great and seeing 4k bats made a day just came full circle for my son. It was a great a day.

For baseball fans this is interesting. Tour is short because it’s a small museum and factory. Not a lot going on but interesting. Good to fill some time

Anyone who has played with wooden bats should take this 45 min. tour. Very interesting regarding how they obtain wood and match up the bat with the player.

Great tour with some great hosts - Bob and Chuck. Both a credit to the company . Would highly recommend this tour even if you don’t know much about baseball

We only actually saw 3 people working during the tour and would have preferred to see more of the manufacturing process.
We enjoyed what we saw and our guide was very informative.

This was a really tour, the manufacturing process is fascinating, but the history as well, as to how they got their start was interesting. Great gift shop, and the one section has game-used bats from hundreds of major league players, so if you want to hold a Babe Ruth used bat and get your photo, you can. Amazing bit of history in your hands.

I’m not the biggest baseball fan nevertheless the museum and factory were a lot of fun to tour. Loved being able to hold a bat used by an MLB legend. Tour guide was informative. Seeing the array of bats in the vaults was a highlight. My personalized bat was ready quickly and just as expected. Overall I’m glad to have had the experience.

Easy to get to on a Sunday morning, parking was super easy and free for the day. The museum is nicely set up with interactive opportunities to swing a major leaguers bat. Wax figures of players and their stats. The walk through the factory was loud making it difficult to hear the guides. Very informative. Great for baseball fans.

Loved this! We are baseball fans and so enjoyed seeing how the bats were made! Loved all the different exhibits on display and especially the Bat Vault.

Even if you don’t visit the museum, at least come and see the giant bat and you’ll see that you’re significantly smaller!

Great way to spend a few hours. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Factory tour was great and museum really interesting

You do not have to be a baseball fan to appreciate what the museum has to offer. We enjoyed learning about the history of the Louisville Slugger bats and how they are made. It was difficult to hear our guide through the tour as the machinery noise muffled his presentation but his personality made it all worthwhile. The museum houses bats from many historical players such as Babe Ruth and Hank Aaron.

Louisville has many excellent attractions, my favorites being Louisville Slugger Bat factory, still going strong with over 100 plus years. From Ruth to current ball players. Close second was Churchill Downs tour, home of Kentucky Derby. Take you right down to the track itself. Good guide had lots of history to share. Ali museum, Joe Frazier museum, tons of whisky distilleries. Suggest 2-3 days to see it all and walk the bridge between two states.

This was a great place to visit with kids or adults who enjoy baseball. The factory tour is neat because you see the employees making the bats and the different stages of production.

Ok, first let me say the tour takes about 30 mins and it cost $46 for 2 people including tax which includes 2 mini wooden bats. In my opinion it’s would be better priced at $12.50 per person.
Now to the baseball stuff. If you are baseball fan it’s a cool tour. It includes some hands on stuff which is kinda neat. At the end of the tour you can get a knob that has been cut off a bat and they give you a mini bat which is cool.
Also included in the tour at the end you can also select a bat of a player on file and you can hold their authentic game used bat to get a photo with. I did Babe Ruth and my wife did Hank Aaron. Cool experience to hold the Babe’s bat and feel how heavy it was compared to todays models. Interesting to say the least.
If your a baseball fan like my wife and I I guess it’s best to suck up the $46 and take the tour.

First time here . Enjoyed the guided factory tour. At the end of tour you get a free mini bat. Gift shop had a variety of items.

The museum held gems of players who have used Louisville Slugger bats during their career. There is a tour of the factory, and you get to see the workers and equipment required to produce the final products.

Great visitors tour.
Very Cool stuff going on in factory.
Highly recommend! Allow a couple of hours
Well worth the time

Totally enjoyed the factory tour and time in the museum. Very interesting how they select the wood for the bats for pro baseball and quickly turn it into a major league bat
Plan on 60-90 min here

This was a great tour! So much history and significance you wouldn’t know unless you go. We loved the factory tour and the bat making experience! A must do for any baseball fan!

The tour was interesting and owning a machine shop made me familiar with the machines they use. It’s an interesting process for sure. It was also fun to see your home team players names throughout. I was a little disappointed in the fact that it was all presented on TV screens at different stops in the factory. It felt somewhat rushed and a steady stream of groups were always in front and back of us.

I’m not a fan. But….i loved the factory tour and the museum exhibits were interesting and fun! I got to hold Cal Ripken Jrs bat! Even a not big fan has some respect!

It was fun to stop here. A bunch of fans all wearing their favorite teams gear. You were able to see some of the old timers who played.

The factory tour was interesting and informative. The museum is filled with memorabilia and signatures from players in both leagues and all teams.
We weren’t sure what to expect, but this far exceeded anything we could have imagined.
Definitely a must for baseball fans!

This is a must do in Louisville. Great for all ages. The tour was great, the museum is interesting and interactive. We had a good time — and got a bat!

I am not a big baseball fan, in fact not at all, but the Louisville Slugger bat is so iconic, that I thought this would be interesting. It was. We got to be taken into the factory part where they make the bats and found out many interesting facts. There are custom bats requested by many players. There are three kinds of wood that are used to make bats and people have different preferences about which wood to choose. Part of the museum is under renovation so we could not see all of it. There is even a batting cage where, for a small fee, you can take a swing! I would recommend this museum and factory.

This was awesome! The tour is kinda rushed but very awesome to see! My boys love the mini bats they got at the end of the tour. They actually took them to the Louisville Bats game and got them autographed by the players.

Anyone who's ever loved baseball or softball will have a blast at the Louisville Slugger Museum! If for nothing else, it's worth seeing the world's tallest bat.

The museum was great. The kids loved walking around and reading the facts. They had a demonstration inside how they sanded the bat by hand along with branding it. They were able to answer any questions that were asked. The tour was awesome. Our guide was very knowledgeable. We went on a Saturday so there weren't any people working. They have batting cages as well.

Excellent tour and explantation of how the bats are made. Loved seeing our Ozzie Smith's signatures in the factory.

Our family enjoys baseball. We play and we enjoy watching our local minor league team a few times each summer. We are not diehard fans, yet we had a wonderful time at this museum!
The tour was delightful and filled with interesting facts, humor, and well done exhibits. We especially enjoyed the working factory tour. And our tour guide involved young and old a like.
There is no free parking but there is a parking garage that attaches to the back of the museum. It is inexpensive, I think we paid $6.00 for a couple of hours.

I really enjoyed the factory trip and our guide was very informative and involved. Seeing the actual machines and the steps of production was great!

I'm glad we stopped here on our way to Memphis. Love the history lesson and all the cool old memorabilia. Very good, reasonably priced family fun.

This was a well organized and informative tour. The museum is fun and interactive. The factory tour was well done and we enjoyed the experience.

Very interesting. Was nice to be able to walk through and witness the actual manufacturing plant and process.

This was a great experience. The tour is very informative and the museum walk through was informative and fun. It's a great activity if you have kids and even as a couple.

We enjoyed the short, informative tour of the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory. Just the right length for the price.

The museum was interesting. I was able to hold one of Willie Stargell's bats. The factory tour was interesting. I was surprised how quickly the machine could turn a bat.

Short, very short, tour watching bats being made. Now in fairness- I don’t care about bats- but this wasn’t much of a tour for the cost. They show you the bats being made, talk about the three types of wood, and then the painting process. It wasn’t much science or history. That being said it you are really, really into bats you might like it- my son did!

Fantastic tour of the Museum and Factory!! Also such an incredible photo opportunity with the bat outside even if you stop by outside of museum hours. LOVED IT! Don't miss this tour if you get to Louisville. Pretty cool to get a souvenir bat at the end for all on the tour. My husband got one on his family trip 50 years ago and they are still doing it. Bravo to these owners and this special long lasting tradition!!

Visited Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory with my son. Really enjoyed the tour. Brought back a few souvenirs back to Australia. Would love to revisit one day.

We loved this tour, it was so interesting. The guide was very good and she knew a lot of history. My husband is into woodworking and was so intreeged by the wood lathe that they use to make the bats. They give you a mini bat at the end of the tour witch was nice. They will also take your picture with a bat if you want. And the Big Bat out front is a great photo opp.

Not too expensive and really interesting how they make the bats. A lot of history with photos of famous players. Worth the visit.

What a great experience for kids, and the kid inside every adult. Where baseball bats are born, and a great tour inside the factory itself - a combo of history and technology, and more history! Set aside about 1 1/2 hours, but families will love it and Grandpa will tell stories of the old baseball days.

I’m so glad we visited here. First we were able to get some personalized bats for our grandchildren. The tour was very nice and it was cool to see how the bats are actually made. The videos along the tour at each of the stations were really helpful. I did not know that some of the professional players actually have their very own bats made here. Great place for kids to see and next time here will bring our grandchildren.

Very informative tour including the history of the Louisville Slugger baseball bat. Neat seeing the actual factory in operation. Adjacent museum a lot of fun - interesting lifelike players, souvenir bats, pitch-speed demonstration, silver slugger trophies, batting cages and photo opportunities with actual player model bats. Awesome experience, reasonably priced.

The factory tour has fun demonstrations of how bats are made and there are many different kinds of bats made for the various major league players. At the end of the tour you receive a free souvenir mini bat. In the museum there are many historic and one of a kind baseball bats to see. There is also a lot of exhibits giving details about star players throughout the years. You can take your picture with many of the players as there are life size replicas of the players in action.

This was a really fun and interesting tour. Our tour guide was great, you get to see part of manufacturing process and a little base ball trivia!

The entrance fee is high for a small place. It is a nice piece of Americana. The factory is not huge but they show you how they make the bats, and some famous bats. The museum is tiny and at the end you get a small bat as a take away.

We visited for my sons 14th birthday and did the tour. We had a great time and got him a Personalized Bat. Definitely recommend visiting especially at least once. We are a family of five and all enjoyed the experience.

This was a very fun place! We had a great time. We did the factory tour and museum. We saw the short movie in the theater. Well worth the time!

We did the tour of the factory. It was very cool. You get to see the bat process, hold some historical bats, and even get yourself a mini souvinier bat to take home. Our guide was relatively new to the medeum, but she was knowledgeable on the stopping point info and FAQs.
When you visit the gift shop, there are options to order a personalized bat and buy signed pieces of baseball memorabilia.

Great museum. If you are in the area make time to attend. The tour itself doesn’t take that long but plan a little extra time to explore inside and out. It’s great for folks of any age. Pretty cool to see how bats are made in the past and present. We bought tickets in advance to get the time slot we wanted. Something we didn’t know is you can go inside to see the wax figures and such before the actual start time of your tour. So plan to do that before or after

Baseball fan or not, you will enjoy the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory Tour. Amazing process of creating bats for both major leaguers and little leaguers. Plus the museum has exhibits, some interactive, and other special features.

Great tour. they have videos to watch along the tour to watch. Good history. Able to actually see the workers working.

What an interesting & fun museum/factory! Well worth the cost. All staff that we were in contact with were super friendly! Would highly recommend!

This hotel is small, but packed full. I even got to hold a bat that Babe Ruth once held. The factory tour was interesting and you even get a mini bat upon completion. Even though it is small, it was informative.

Although the museum and factory are small, the tour is the perfect length and gives such a great history and insight into not only the making of the baseball bats, but also the history of their use throughout baseball. The tour moves at a pace that keeps the kids engaged in the information. The exhibits in the museum are interact and informative. It was a fun place to go with the family and a picture in front of the giant Louisville Slugger bat is a must!

Yes, worth to visit it. We really enjoyed it so much for both factory and museum. They provided all tours to get very cute small wood bats. We love them. More interesting about history of baseball.
Great Tour
This tour was better than we expected it to be. We toured the museum before taking the tour and then headed into the factory. There is plenty of history within those walls. You can swing the bats of famous people … who knew that Daryl Strawberry had the lightest bat and Babe Ruth had the heaviest!
