The shelling at Lowdermilk is not as good as Naples Pier, but it was nice to have so many trees near the beach.

We were very pleased to find that even though there were a lot of people, the beach is long enough to give everyone plenty of space. Parking is 2.50 an hour but the spots are right next to the beach. There are picnic tables and a covered pavilion. The concession has a good selection of food that is reasonably priced. There are outside showers and the restrooms have a changing area. We enjoyed walking the beach, swimming and watching the sunset.

It’s a beautiful beach. The biggest drawback is that it is so darn crowded. Though it has what beach goers need. Food and restrooms

Great location, with great amenities, would recommend this for families with children also. Like the parking meter set up, you will be sent a text msg to extend your parking before it expires

Easy to park toilets showers food really easy to access the beach which was not over crowded at all definitely recommend.

We were in Naples 9 days, and I visited the park 6 times. It is easy to get to, and has lots of parking but does fill up on the weekend. Well designed park, and exceptionally clean and well maintained.

We visit Naples several times a year and this is our go-to-beach. There is lots of parking available, beach chairs and umbrellas for rent, public rest rooms, picnic tables, snack bar, life jackets, etc. The sand and waters are always perfect. You can also walk to the Naples Beach Club and enjoy a great drink at the bar.
The fireworks takes place twice a year at the Pier (July 4th and Dec 31). A great place to watch the fireworks is between Lowdermilk beach and the Pier. As it also offers quick road access to leave the beach after the fireworks (avoiding traffic at the pier).
In the summer, there are lots of sanddollars, starfish and dolphins around. We have seen manatees at this beach (close by).
Love you Naples!

We visited this beach for the first time on an afternoon. Beach was very accesible from the parking lot. My three kids and wife really enjoyed this beach. We were hoping for the presence of lifeguards but apparently there are not a lot of beaches in the Naples’s area that offer this. We stayed there obviously taking all the necessary precautions as I have three small kids and the waves were very strong close to sunset but they really liked this beach. Talking about sunset. Let me tell you, we were able to experience the sunset at the beach and it was spectacular. I saw a lot of people coming to the pavilion area just to take a snap of the sunset!

It’s a fantastic beach with the perfect yet simple amenities for the family. The washrooms are very clean and located directly behind the parking lot. You have the option to rent beach chairs and umbrellas. The water is shallow and very clear, unless there is a high tide which tends to cloud it up somewhat. The sand is white!

Great public beach with full facilities (toilets and showers). Also, there is a grill restaurant there serving beach food (hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, etc).

Even though we are minutes from Vanderbilt Beach, this is our favorite beach because of the amenities. A great snack bar with good food, reasonable prices and covered picnic tables. It has a deeper than average beach, volleyball, restrooms, showers, kids playground. Only two drawbacks... The hundred or so parking spots fill quickly because of its popularity, and if you don't have a local parking pass, you must go to the automated parking attendant to pay for your space.

My husband and I love this beach! The sand is so soft and the water is always clear. We often see dolphins swimming offshore and tropical fish in the shallow water. We can just walk up to the snack bar which offers your regular fare but also healthy salads and wraps. All reasonably priced. There are ample picnic tables in the shaded pavilion to enjoy your meal. The bathrooms are clean, well as clean as beach bathrooms can be with sand etc. There are also outdoor foot showers and body showers. The only thing is that parking is VERY limited. The parking lot fills up fast. We usually go early in the morning or after 2:30. There is some street parking to help out but not much. Such a great place! Our favorite!

Beautiful beach with white powder sand! It's a beach and a park with public paid parking and a concession stand.

A wonderful beach to visit, great views, great beach, grassy water! Perfect place to set up your beach chairs and relax and listen to the waves. Nice facilities and snack bar too

If you want a quiet, clean beach to catch some rays try Lowdermilk. Bring a chair because the sand gets hot. Not too crowded, and clean. Not too many shells to hurt your feet

Fantastic beach experience. Parking area is very close to the beach. If you’re a resident parking is typically free. The beach gets crowded so go early

Beautiful beach with soft sand and not too busy. Plenty of parking was available when we went. We will be back , it was fun!

Be aware that the city of Naples will charge $200 for missing payment or expired meters. We were visiting the area and were not aware that a parking payment was required. There were NO visible signs of this and we got hit with a $202 parking ticket. I can understand a $30 ticket but $202??
The beach is nice but crowed with large groups of loud people on the weekends.

Nice beach but can get crowded, we had to park on the street a few blocks away. Clean restrooms and smell concession stand. No Red Tide while we were there!

We pulled in and parked for only long enough to get a view of the beach. The sand I walked on was perfect beach sand. Soft and easy to lie on kind of sand.

The first day we showed up at 12pm and the park was closed. We learned our lesson the second day and got there at 9am for plenty of parking. I loved that they cap off when the parking is full. Made for an enjoybale family day at the beach! Pro tip - Park #4 has a concession stand, bathrooms and picnic tables.

Sunset is amazing and the weather cools down nicely.
The amount of fish, dolphins, stingrays, pelicans, and birds we saw was fabulous.
It is a nice walk down to the pier more dolphins to see.
The houses backing onto the beach are lovely and the area is beautiful.
The kind of place anyone would love to live.

couldn't stay because no place to park ever. was recommended by hotel, but went to a nice beach a little north which had a parking garage

While this is a narrow beach (Compared to the Alabama Panhandle) it was very clean, with plenty of space to put out our chairs. There were beautiful shells to gather and level areas to walk. The Refreshment stand, bathrooms and picnic areas outside of the beach area are a plus. You do have to have a parking permit to park.

showers, bathrooms, store, covered area for picnic tables. Then, a wonderful beach. A little tough for parking. Go early for families. I'm retired and happy with mid afternoon for awhile.

On our last day in Naples, we went to Lowdermilk Beach for a walk. The park is easy to access with plenty of parking for $6 a vehicle. There are many places for a picnic or to just chill and soak up the sun. Washrooms are available and easily accessible.

Nice beach has volleyball and covered picnic areas, beach is nice water was good no issue with red tide or Algee I would come back to this beach in a heartbeat.

My grandkids were attending@oceankidscamp at this beach so I took advantage of staying a couple of mornings. I had forgotten how lovely it really is having lived here a long time. Showers, bathrooms, benches, food & wonderful soft sand!! Come for a short visit but you will want to stay!!

Clean beach, easy parking. Picnic tables available for your own picnic basket meal. Food available within walking distance.

Nice quieter beach with Concession, kayak and paddle board rentals. Charge for parking, nice walking and picnic areas, wildlife pond.

The beach has a sand bank about 6 feet in. Maybe it was a result of Irma, but I did not feel comfortable going in too far out, because I couldn't tell where did it end.

Beautiful beach with changing rooms and outdoor showers. Waves were a little high but could be due to tropical storms in the gulf. Paid for three hours at the parking meter and thought we added 30 minutes when the reminder text was sent. When we arrived at the car before the additional 30 minutes was used up, there was a ticket for $77 for going over the 3 hours. One second over and it costs you dearly so be sure to keep track of time.

One of the all time great Beaches I've been to in America! The white power sand is a smooth as silk! It has everything, including the cleanest Beach Bathroom's and showers around, a great snack bar with amazing fries! All in all a true gem in Naples.

We went there shortly before sunset just to see what the gulf coast was all about. We were NOT disappointed...until the sun went down. The sand was super soft, the water was super warm and left no harsh salt residue on your skin. However, as the sun set and we started to make our way off the beach and to the car through the park, we were devoured by vicious tiny mosquitoes. The bad news- there was no way to get away from them, the good news- the bite marks only swelled up a little and didn't last past an hour or so.
Definitely going back..., but this time during the day and armed with a mosquito repellent. That water thought...!

Very nice place, beach, park and all infrastructure!! Very calm and cozy and excellent for practicing activities

There were no signs and no meters when we parked in the overflow area. After spending 2 hours at the beach, we came back to find a ticket on the windshield . While ignorance of the law is no excuse, a $77 ticket is outrageous. The Naples welcome mat for tourists stops at its beaches.

Sat under grass tree hut for hours enjoying the wonderful breeze on an extremely hot day. Clean facility with air conditioned pavilion with concession stand provided.

We always enjoy regular visits to Lowdermilk when we stay in Naples. Be patient on parking during the holidays. As we sit on the beach, people seem ridiculous homkimg in the parking lot due to their impatience of loading and unloading visitors. Don't want to hassle with the pay and park? Uber is best. Their are lots of spaces, but check Google and avoid the busy times. The rrestrooms were recently remodeled and are clean. The cafe is great with an offering of a variety of foods, beverages and even beach supplies. You can rent kayaks, paddleboards, chairs and umbrellas. We bring our supplies and rent the paddleboards. If you visit and see trash, please pick it up to keep our beaches clean for future generations.

Lowdermilk Beach is one of the best beaches in the Naples, Fl area. A great place to walk, swim, and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Parking lot available but very crowded during peak times of the year.

love that you park and the beach is just a few feet away plenty of parking i love the huts they have if you dont want to be in the sun bathroom were clean and able to get a snack there too

We love coming here because they have facilities. (restrooms, showers, lockers, snack bar, picnic tables, play area for kids)

I guess I have been spoilt by Miami and Fort Lauderdale, where you can drive on a road alongside the beaches and enjoy the view as well as the experience, and where the hotels and condominium blocks are located on the other side of the road.
Sadly, Naples is different and follows the worst of Spanish resorts where the hotels and condominium blocks block huge swathes of beach and, as a visitor, you have to find the occasional narrow road and car park giving access to the beach.
Once there, however, the beach was glorious, with soft golden sands washed by the tide. Great for visitors of all ages, but it does seem a pity that the property developers and planners focused on this strategy. You only have to look at the map and you can see mile upon mile which has been developed in this way. Such a pity for such wonderful beaches.

Beach is great with little straw capped hideouts. Got a really nice playground for kids; bathrooms are clean; and you can get a beer and snacks at the covered snack bar. Sems to be te best beach in the area

Lowdermilk is a nice beach, located near the main downtown area in Naples.
The beach is very good for families because it has showers, restrooms, concession stand and playground area for kids.. The water is calm so the family and kids can have a lot of fun.
The downside is, you need to get there early to get a parking space.. I would say to be there NLT 10am - on weekends make it 9:30..
All parking is metered at $2.50 an hour.
Enjoy..

Long beach, parking just in front, restaurant and washrooms steps off the beach....a nice afternoon at the beach. Just one word of advice, get there early (around 10am) as limited parking.

We have been here a few times, really nice beach with nice with facilities.
Outdoor shower to rinse off after your stay. Parking is a bit limited, but okay. Rentals of small water crafts are available, haven't used yet, so don't know pricing. All looks to be in good condition. Much enjoyed by our family.

You can walk for miles along the beach
Sandy beach with lots of places for your chairs and umbrella
There's a great little snack bar for the usual fast food and ice cream
Bathroom and a place outside for washing off the sand from feet and body especially if the kids have played at burying one another.
Lots of parking including for handicap
Water in the gulf was a little cold but it was still a great place to swim since the waves are a lot smaller than the Atlantic side
Saw lots of dolphins and Pelicans
There is also a place for the kids to play or grown ups wanting to play volleyball
Beach patrol helps keep things safe as there is no alcohol permitted
So have a good time since this is one of the favourite places to enjoy the beach in naples

Great beach. Get there early and rent an umbrella and 2 lounge chairs $30 for the day. You are 20 feet from the water and 50 feet from a canteen, washrooms, parking etc. Bring quarters or a credit card for parking.

Volleyball courts are great, snack shack is available, great sunsets, short walk to beach club. Look out for jelly fish and make sure to shuffle feet for sting rays, great all around beach. Hate to pay for parking !

Super nice beach and great facilities. Make sure to pay for parking if you don’t have the pass as the fine is steep.
Not too crowded with COVID. Able to distance.

Our family visited Lowdermilk Beach for sunset. Absolutely stunning!! Found lots of great shells, took many beautiful pictures, and loved feeling the super soft sand in our bare feet!

This was our first time & the drive through the neighborhood let’s you know it is going to be nice. Parking reasonable, snack bar & restrooms were okay. BUT, no where did we see any sign that dogs were no allowed until actually entering onto the beach. ALSO, we kept feeling like something was choking us & our dog started sneezing and could not stop. Then someone on the beach told us it is the RED Tide! There were no signs about it at all. However, a quick search revealed that yes last week they started receiving positive tests on the wildlife of the bacteria. Once we got cleaned up & in the car, our symptoms gradually diminished. Having asthma, this is very concerning. Warning should be posted & thank goodness I was exerting myself, or I could have been in trouble.

i have gone here several times in the past- couldn't make it this year, not enough time, but it is a must for first timers such a clean beach and so easy to get in and out of the ocean!!

Second trip to Naples for a beach vacation week of 13 September and we visited Lowdermilk twice during the week. Love that parking is near the beach - although all the Naples parking is a bit expensive. Nice wide beach with plenty of access. Appreciate the concession stand - that now can yield a pina colada daiquiri! Nice tropical touch. Also enjoy the water showers and very clean bathrooms on site.
You need to try this beach!

Visited on a Monday about 5 pm. enjoyed a cool dip with some dolphins. Luckily snagged a 80 plus degree day. Walked about 1/2 mile south to some beach bar to watch sunset. Would come here and spend longer.

The view is always beautiful, the walk from the beach to the Pier and back is a nice workout and a way to commune with a few brown pelicans

We stayed across the street from this lovely park and stretch of white sand beach. Enjoyed taking late afternoon walks, observing the birds and shelling. A well-maintained area for a picnic with lots of tables scattered the length of the park. A fee for parking so you may find a space on a nearby street as many beachgoers do.

All the amenities without a big crowd. Easy in and out. Circle around to find a parking spot or drop off stuff and park further away. Love this beach

Nice beach with bathrooms and a snack bar. Limited parking and beach can get crowded, especially during season. I usually just go to this beach off season when it is less crowded. I have other beaches I frequent during season.

A lovely beach with little waves and you can walk out without it dropping off. Showers bathrooms and snack bar

Nice beach! We searched forever trying to find parking up and down and around Naples, so happy to find the actual parking lot here! Paid 10$ for a couple hours which was worth it. Not much of a walk, nice facilities including rinse showers. It’ll be our go to if we come back Naples!

Family of dolphins swam by just as we arrived to view the sunset. Such a treat. We loved the sand and sunset. Great place for a romantic evening.

Huge beach area. Very pretty water. The Naples Pier is in the center. I would say it is bigger than Clam Pass beach.

Beautiful beach. Concessions and restrooms clean. Easy access to beach. Parking is easy. Best beach in Naplez.

A great place to go to soak in the Gulf waters and loll on the beach. We usually go in the early evening after the heat of the day has passed. Besides going late means you can see the wonderful sunsets over the Gulf.
There are birds walking the beach or swooping overhead which adds a nice touch to the scene.
There is a snack bar, changing and shower facilities, volley ball courts, and a parking lot. Unfortunately the lot requires a local resident parking permit.

The parking is limited, so get there early. The beach is beautiful and we found some gorgeous shells. Get beach for walking. Water is beautiful as well.

I loved this beach! It was a beautiful sunset and there is a restaurant and bar right down from this beach!

Clean, beautiful beach. . Snack hut, picnic tables, outdoor showers ,restrooms and playground available. I have to agree with everything Naple Guy 2019 has to say

this beach is extremely clean. toilet area ,sand, parking, water well maintained/clean. parking is $5 for 2 hrs. not too expensive . parking spots have a larger area for easy access..has a fast food restaurant .. I did not have any traffic issues to/from this beach.. FT Myers Beach is a traffic mess. limited parking ..

Nice, clean beach with restrooms and snackbar. Saw lots of pelicans diving for fish. We even saw a few dolphins.
Not enough parking.

We love coming here, being able to park so close to a fabulous beach and shower off the sand after. Toilets and a place to get changed well kept. Other amenities here but haven't made use of them so can't comment on them.

We loved this beach! We rode our bikes (from Beach Bum Bike Rentals) here every day. Sunset and even at night since open until 11 PM. Picnic tables, tiki huts, clean bathrooms and more. Awesome!!!

Provided the red tide is under control this is a great beach. Great beach for walking or jogging. Can along run/jog along Gulf Shore Blvd. and Gordon which are also suitable for cycling.
Get there early, the beach parking lot fills up and the beach gets busy (for a reason)!

All of the beaches in Naples are beautiful. This particular one has a parking lot and street parking as well as a bathroom/changing facility and a small takeout restaurant. However, this beach can get very crowded during the in season. If you arrive by noon, you will likely not find parking. Parking is $2 per hour (I think-that might be for 2 hours) for people that do not have cars registered in Collier County.
I also find that you need to walk on the beach about a block so you're not sitting right on top of someone.
Sand is soft and white, mild waves and lots of shells.

Gorgeous, clean beach. Close paid parking or you can elect to park on the street one block from the beach at no charge-easy walk to the beach. Interesting how this type of sand never gets hot so it was pleasant to trek barefoot long distance...quartz sand. There are chair and umbrella rentals at a few places but I can't tell you the charges. Just a really nice beach to visit.

popular beach with parking, water fountains and dairy bar. no problems, mostly family. space for ball games and picnics. the sandy beach is busy too. there is a large pavillion and toilets.

On summer vacation, the family and I headed to the shore for some beachy fun. In the midst of an exceptionally severe red tide season in Southwest Florida, we were apprehensive about going in the water so we just lounged on our blankets. The surf was rough due to a passing storm, anyway. The nearby pier is entertaining with a restaurant and volleyball net nearby.

Clean, calm water, will revisit. Bathrooms and sand cleaning station were much appreciated, we were there in May so not too crowded and the weather was perfect. I'm a stickler for clean sand and this beach has it.

Naples is full of gorgeous beaches, and this is one of them. Accessible parking. Gazebos and picnic tables. Soft white sand. Very clean beach. Stunning sunsets!

The location was great but unfortunately when we visited, we noticed a lot of dead fish on the beach. My wife and I noticed nobody was getting in the water. So decided to search to see if something was up. Sure enough; red tide had hit the region. Along with possible dangerous debris under the sand due to Hurricane Ian. And of course our 5 year old daughter had already gone elbow deep in the water. We immediately got her out and took her to the showers they had on site to make sure to wash off all on the possible bacteria. I’m sure this place is great once the red tide is gone and there’s no danger of debris buried under the sand. The parking meter was a bit confusing but convenient. We got to the park around 9am and by 10am it was almost full. Which is interesting considering nobody should be swimming in the water.

Just what we were looking for! We were only in Naples for one night so we had one shot at a great beach day. Lowdermilk did not disappoint! Clean beach. Not too crowded. Good price for beach rentals. We rented a paddle board and body board for only $46 including tip. Concession menu was extensive though we didn’t eat there. Smelled good though. Readily available and clean showers and bathrooms. Parking was at a premium but the price was good.

We scored one of the thatched umbrella setups on this beach and loved all - there are facilities near the beach, a food stand, great parking, and the water was beautiful with lots of shells to collect. If you arrive early, and get a spot under the thatched umbrella thing - it makes it all the better for shade and felt private sitting under that - I liked how you can receive texts too for when your paid parking is about to expire and extend it with a text! The bathrooms are very nice and clean, etc.

Simplest way to park and walk on the beautiful white sand. Not too crowded, at least when we went (mild December days), but has the amenities that would make the stay comfortable. Tip: just walk down the beach, and take a seat for the gorgeous sunset at the sunset beach bar.

Nice beach, with some constructions in sight and still moving forward.
Arriving in Naples from Miami Beach, past the Pier, the beach is divine!!! There are private and other public entrances, where you can also park with parking meters and cell phone to pay.
The surrounding houses are beautiful! The dream streets
The beach is beautiful, surrounded by lots of greenery!
On 5th Street there are shops and restaurants

Charming beach spot with white sand. The Gulf felt like a bathtub with ample sea shells in the area. Well-maintained. My favorite sunset spot in Florida by far, a breathtaking vacation destination the whole family will enjoy.

Beautiful beach. Restrooms and snack bar are available. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available to rent. Parking is $5 per hour. There are a few picnic tables. There's a volleyball court.
The beach is wide, beautiful sand, shells, gentle waves, sunsets are amazing. It is my favorite beach in the Naples area.
The town has done a great job cleaning up after Hurricane Ian.

Adequate parking, easy walk to the beach, a very attractive beach with good shelling, and tasty beach type food (order the fries) is available. One downside are the automated pay parking both -- experienced and witnessed multiple frustration with inadequate instructions. The test based parking time renewal system imperfect -- got overcharged the second time.

Nice sand beach. Some shells. Didn’t see any restrooms. Must pay to park close. it is an easy beach to get to close to downtown Naples. No special play areas for children. It is easy to walk on. Didn’t seem to be handicapped accessible from the parking lot to the beach.

This beach is awesome. They have everything you could need for a day at the beach. They have showers, restrooms, food area, picnic tables, playgrounds and volleyball nets.

The sand is white and clean, good facilities. We love this beach! We have a one and three year old and they always have a good time.

I love the Sunset MeetUp Yoga group at Lowdermilk Beach. I'm planning a paddleboard visit next. Great shell collecting and sand dollar searchibg beach as well.

I spent a perfect day at Lowdermilk beach. The parking is pay by slip. There were plenty of spots and the inclined walkway made it easy to carry on and carry off.
The white sand and ca tropical gulf waves make this one of the best beaches. There is a bathroom and showers. The cafe served lunch sandwiches, salads and drinks.

This was our 12th Chistmas at the beach. Get there early, bring turkey clubs and drinks, don't forget your book and sunblock! This is the best way to relax and enjoy the holiday!

Ample parking here which can be an issue at many beaches.
Covered shelters for picnicking are also found here. The beaches are wonderful and you can take a long walk or swim here.
One of Naples finest !

Lowdermilk is a really accessible and beautiful beach, close to Naples city centre but not usually as crowded. Parking is available in the nearby parking lot (you do need to pay if you're a visitor) but it's only a short stroll to the beach. There are also refreshments available from a concession in the park. Clean, safe, the fishing can be pretty good and all in all a favourite destination.

This is a pleasant stretch of beach along the Gulf, complete with chair and umbrella rentals, snack bar and other facilities for enjoying some fun in the sun. It seems to be a favorite of families and the parking lot fills up early. We have gone in the afternoon, and found it is a little easier to park.

Nice views for sunset. A few open parking spots at 7:30pm. Concessions were closed. Quick visit really just to witness the sunset.

This Beach location by far is the best, especially if you have small kid/kids. Getting a park is a nightmare. I believe you may just have to go early or circle a couple of times, hoping someone will leave. Luckily I got a park on a side street. At the Lowdermilk location you have to pay. Just remember your paking number. There are a couple of other places to park and pay, but luck will have to be on your side. The ocean was so calm and clear, the sand was clean and white. I think also the best part of this location are the amenities. There are public restrooms, and little outdoor showers to get all the sand off before you get into your car. There is also a little play area for kids. There is also a small cafe that sells food, and other little things. You can eat under the pavilion or on the beach. Also if you don't have an umbrella, or beach chairs you can actually rent them for use at different prices located right on the beach. I purchased the $30 special, which consists of 2 chairs, umbrella and a table. Made it so convenient especially with a 6 year old. Overall the weather was perfect and this park is the Best location for families. Highly recommend. Just be warned parking is a nightmare BUT not sure being Memorial day weekend.

All the beaches in Naples area are great. This one has a reasonable sized parking lot, but unless you are an early bird, it's full and you have to troll the lot along with everyone else to luck into a spot.

Been there a number of times. Nice beach with a nice pavilion. Great view, but get there early in season.....especially on weekends. Parking can be challenging. Out side of South Beach on Marco, its our other go to beach.

The beach here is pretty nice. You have to pay to park but the beach is free! The bathrooms are very clean and the people working here at the snack bar are super friendly too and helped recommend things around town for us to see.

We traveled to Naples to celebrate Christmas to New Years and get out of the cold from Ohio. Each day we enjoyed walking the beach for an hour plus to get our morning exercise. This was a great experience - good firm sand to walk on and soft lapping gulf waters washing ashore over our feet and nice warm mid-70's temps in the morning with light onshore breezes to keep us cool. This is heaven.

This is a perfect beach in Naples , Florida with clear blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. There’s a covered area with a snack bar, as well as tiki huts and children’s playground. There’s all day parking for $8, but the fills very quickly during season. Early arrival is a must.

Spent a half day on the beach, very nice, clean and family oriented. The weather was perfect and the water was calm. Short walk from the parking lot to the beach, but parking is a real problem. Get there early!

A great place to swim and see the sunset. It really helped that we could use our daughter's car with a local parking permit. The lot is nice and close to the water. There is a changing room and rest room. There is a concession stand but since we go late to avoid the heat it is closed when we get there. There are volley ball courts.

Beautiful beach area with great facilities. Parking area is large but fills up quickly. Very popular with locals and tourists.

Great location in Naples. Wide beach, lots of room. It does get busy, so go early for easy parking. Nice bathrooms, Place to buy food and drinks. The food is very good. Sandwiches etc. During high season, the beach can get crowded.

Beautiful here, parking is decent and the food court is pretty good as well. Can get very busy so go early to get a spot to park.

Restrooms, outside showers, gulf side huts for shade, volleyball court, swings, picnic tables, shade trees and the Gulf — what more do you need!!

Everything you need is here! Spacious beach, kyack, chair, umbrella & paddle board rentals, full snack bar with bathrooms & showers, playgrounds, volleyball courts & walking distance to the Naples Beach Club.

I’ve lived in Florida for 17 years and this still remains my favorite local beach. Perfect central location in Naples with easy walk to many places. Clean restrooms and concessions. Picnic tables and grills available. I recommend to Get there early for parking.

It was a beautiful day and not busy at all. We enjoyed the sun and a swim will be back. We found Lowdermilk very easy and parking was open and spacious. The beach was clean.

We went to Lowdermilk Beach several times on our trip and were pleased each time. Easy to get to, lots of parking, a great snack bar, nice bathrooms, and beautiful powder sugar sand beaches were a pleasure to enjoy. Saw dolphins swim by, seaplanes, pelicans, and lots of shells to collect. This was a hit and look forward to going back.

We enjoyed this beach but found parking a big problem. Driving around and around the parking lot waiting for a spot is a little crazy. If you aren't there really early you don't get one.

Sand is white and thin, you can rent chairs and enjoy this amazing romantic beach ideal for couples looking for a quiet non full of people beach!

Great place to go if you are looking for sand, water, or sun. We were easily able to find the Gulf of Mexico from this beach!

This is an all inn beach. It has rentals for chairs, canoo, umbrella's. It also has showers and changing areas . It also has food, lunch, burgers, icecream an beverages. The only negative thing is that there is not enough parking available.

This is a very good spot among many other spots to access the beach along Gulf Shore Blvd. This spot has plenty of parking and the parking is metered.

This is a park near the beach. It offers plenty of parking, paid. It also has bathroom facilities and outdoor shower to rinse off your body and feet. Many picnic tables are available. The beach is a short walking distance from the park and the beach is lovely. Space to play.

Great family beach. What more do you need to say, but I must fill the space or I can not leave the review.

Nice beach but it was very crowded lots of families.. not that we mind that. But I got the $77 parking ticket. I can literally prove with phone data that I was attempting to access the pay by text feature while the officer dropped a ticket on me. I’m told the only recourse is to ask for a hearing. I’m from Chicago so obviously I’m not coming back for that. What bothers me is I put $23 in that parking fee system and now I have to pay another $77. Looks like a revenue source!!

I loved this beach for a fun afternoon with the kids. It was very convenient because it had a restaurant on site that had a shaded area to eat, clean bathrooms with a changing area and clean sand. Had a great couple days here with my kids aged 1 - 7. Highly recommend it.

Evacuated east coast during Hurricane Dorian. Wanted to see sunset. Delivered a perfect sunset at Lowdermilk Beach. Priceless ♡

Great beach, washrooms, fast food available at reasonable prices, paid parking, chair and umbrella rentals, along with paddleboards etc

We were out on the pedal cycles roaming around the area having been at Clam Park and came across this place. Somewhere to secure the bikes, plenty car park spaces, a cafe, ice creams, water refills, restrooms and a big beach with plenty space to get lost on. Water is warm and clean.
Youd be really hard pushed to find anything not to like about this location

Soft white sand, beautiful beach. Nice new restrooms and snack bar. Meter parking. Volley ball court

Early March is still peak season here and the parking difficulties were enormous in spite of parking not being even free. Most visitors heading to the beach for some sunbathing. The best realistic approach is to park far away and if possible walk to the beach.

Great beach with a snack shop. Parking can be a little bit of a bear, but there are a lot of spots. I liked the umbrella and chair rental! Perfect for those of us on vacation.

Great for small groups so bring a picnic and stay put. Beach is pristine and although not large, lots of shells, and water is warn and calm.

This beach is clean , restrooms are cleaned every 1/ 1/2 hours , very impressive if you been to some messy beaches . Watched a gentleman catch and release a Shark , he said very rare catch , but fun .

A wonderful wide strip of clean white sand sprinkled with interesting seashells, gentle waves and warm water make Lowdermilk Beach an excellent destination for all. In front of the beach is a picnic area with a grill and snack bar, restrooms and beach equipment rentals adjacent to a grassy park area with benches, a small playground and fresh water showers to rinse off. In front of this area is a sizable parking lot (pay) but despite this, during peak periods, parking can be very challenging. Visiting during Spring Break we avoided the parking issue by taking the free (but do tip) Slidr shuttle service between our hotel and the beach.

Nice beach in Naples. Wide sandy beach and clear water. Concession in pavillion is handy. Restrooms are adequate. Get there early because parking fills up quick.

We love this park and think it is a truly special place. It has all the amenities for an awesome day at the beach and is walking distance to a great breakfast/brunch/lunch place - First Watch. You can show up with a bathing suit and towel, rent chairs and an umbrella and buy everything else you need to enjoy a wonderful and memorable day at the beach. They have simple food options on site...but it’s worth a short walk for all the healthy and delicious options at First Watch.

While there may be other places to access the beach in Naples, it seems to be only because they have to. Unless you go to Lowdermilk you will have to lug your beach things for a sizeable distance, bring everything you want to eat and drink with you, and as far as restrooms go, start walking early or there is always the Gulf of Mexico! Lowdermilk is the only place where you have everything you need (except parking). If you aren't there by 10:00AM, good luck!
I can only rate it as excellent because it's your best bet as far as Naples beaches go. While you may be able to access the beach at other points, you are on your own if not at Lowdermilk.

Beautiful clean beach. Paid parking lot but get there early for a spot. Short walk to the beach. Snack bar and restrooms. Highly recommend.

We walked the whole beach and had very good weather! It was cool to see the kite surfers down from this beach!

Nice beach to drop by for easy access in and out, but it doesn't compare to the other beautiful bays/natural landscaping that surround Clam Pass and Delnor Wiggins. On a positive, it was not experiencing a Red Tide issue the same day Clam Pass and Delnor were seeing this problem.

This beach is beautiful and has a snack bar, you can also rent chairs and umbrellas. You can see the pier from this beach. We found this beach last year on our last day and as soon as we arrived this year it was the first beach we went to, Also saw dolphins swimming by,

Beautiful beach and super clean, I didn’t love that the parking was hourly but you can sign up for texts and request more time via texts so you don’t have to return to the meter machine. I also didn’t love that there were condos overlooking the beach, it wasn’t very private but still pretty and fun

Just got back from a few days in Naples and visited Lowdermilk Beach. Jason on the beach was great! He had our chairs/umbrellas ready everyday for us. He was very friendly and helpful with as to what to do for fun and where to eat. Clean bathrooms, great little food shack for breakfast or lunch. Can't wait to go back!
Girls from "Boston"

This is a beautiful and clean beach. You may find it smaller than Vanderbilt and some of the larger beaches. Often families with children can be seen playing in the surf. The restrooms are clean with adequate supplies for personal use. If I remember correctly families were cooking on grills for their families. There is a limited concession stand.
Parking fee is minimal $2.50. Parking lot fills up early 9:00 to 9:30. Parking lot is safe and clean. Bring your own chairs and comfort items.

We love this beach and spend lots of time here every time we are in Naples. I especially love this beach for an afternoon or evening trip to the beach. Parking is cheap as a non resident for a post dinner beach trip, not a far walk and there are restrooms and a snack shop.

Lovely beach, accessible and good facilities
Very clean, parking is 2.50 dollar per hour
Even got to see dolphins today

This beach was quitter than the others and we really enjoyed. The sand was extra soft and the park area was nice for family to come together.

This beach is kept clean. The facilities for restrooms and showers are excellent!
Best time in a while and the water was awesome!
Parking is a bit expensive and on occasion hard to find.
Keep in mind though you can find beach access points up and down the street.
Honestly this is one of our top 5 beach’s!
Snorkeled here good visibility some shells.. some dead sand dollars.

They really should close the parking lot when the red tide effect is so bad, dead fish rotting on the sand and a terrible smell and poisonous water
In Europe we would have red flags everywhere in this situation I do not understand why they are not in use here

Fun beach, with a great sunset. Were able to grab a salad afterwards. Be patience with the parking payment devices.

This was the closest beach to our hotel and was very nice. They had chairs and umbrellas available to rent. The bathrooms were nice & clean. Sand and water was beautiful! We had no trouble parking, but driving by the next day which was a Friday, the lot looked to have been full by around 11:00.

We first wondered why hardly anyone on the beach and then realized we were on a bay and needed to walk around it to the ocean beach! We parked at far left end of lot near path to the beach and walked around 1/2 mile to get there. We first stopped at the food stand for Italian sausage sandwiches and cokes--hit the spot!

the beach is wonderful, have a big place for snack and juices, easy acess.... , voley squares ....we had fun !
Very clean, and with showers too!

Love being at Lowdermilk Beach. Clean, good walking and never too busy. The parking is easy and always find a spot.

This is a crazy beach. Visit only if you like loud music, tons of people and CROWDS!!! I would. not go back

Almost empty for sunset. Clean and easy to get to. Nice sand. There was a guy fishing by the pilings

Facilities are clean, offers outside showers. They offer reasonably priced food at the pavilion. Canoes and paddle boards for rent. Beach was not crowded, plenty of space between families. Not too many shells but a beautiful beach to walk on. Parking is convenient with super short walk to the beach. Love the little tiki palm umbrellas along the beach. Will definitely be back to this beach :)

I enjoy a great sandy stroll from Lowdermilk Beach- a two mile walk to the Naples Pier is a lovely place to pause, hydrate, visit the pier to see if a dolphin or two is swimming about and then to walk back at a leisurely pace. If a lunch is in order, the Naples Beach & Golf Club has a beach side bar you can enjoy a salad or sandwich. The walk in the other direction to a rocky jetty is another option and a bit shorter to get to. Tap into your inner voice and find that the sand under your feet connects you closer to nature and is medicine for the body and soul!

We just came back from Lowdermilk Beach, spending most of the day there. It is probably the best beach ever\. The place is so clean and organized. The sand is so clean and soft. The amenities are excellent, rental chair, umbella, chair, kayak rentals, etc. Very clean restrooms and very nice foodservice. You should get there early as the parking lot fills up quickly. We got there at 10 AM and the parking lot was fairly full already. A must when you are in Naples, Florida.

This is a great beach. It has it all, clean rest rooms, multiple showers and foot washing stations and a snack bar to go along with a nice stretch of sand. Go early to insure a place to park because it is very popular.

Beatiful beach, went for sunset .place is packed with people eating and watching the sunset and applaud when sun disappears into the gulf.

This is our go to Beach in Naples. They have changing rooms, clean bathrooms, and a great concession stand for quick eats. The beach is great with white sandy beaches. They have numerous rentals from chairs to paddle boards. Very busy on the weekends and can get loud also. Best time to go is early morning or mid to late afternoon. Lots of people go for dinner in the Park bringing their own munchies to extravagant meals and watch the sunset. It is a great place to enjoy with friends and family. There are quite a few picnic tables scattered about but best sunset viewing is either on the beach or in the concession area.

Lowdermik Beach (actually in Lowdermilk Park) is a great beach not far from downtown Naples with lots of parking, a food concession, a covered gazebo and chair/umbrella rentals. It can get pretty busy in season. Always a clean and pleasant beach...

Very large beach with the beautiful fine white sand of the Naples area. There's lots of shells at the wave's edge, and so many birds! Pelicans, egrets, sand pipers, white ibis... So, while we didn't go in the water because it was quite cold at the time (Xmas), we truly enjoyed the walks on the beach. There is parking and snack bar and facilities.

Wonderful place, clean beach nice facilities well maintained. Had fun relaxing and shelling . Parking can be tuff if you don’t get there early. Highly recommended for a relaxing day .

This is a very beautiful beach with many accommodations available close by. They have bathroom facilities, outdoor showers and a beach cafe with covered seating. Very casual atmosphere. Only drawback is parking can be difficult in season.

This is a beautiful beach, the sand is like ashtray sand and the beach does not drop off too fast a great place to tan and fun spot to get wet.

This beach is gorgeous with facilities to rent chairs, umbrellas, water toys, showeres etc. Food available but alcoholic drinks not allowed. Watch for dolphins or boats or walk the beach. Great for people watching and a get together spot with friends and family.

I am not sure if the name of the beach was Lowdermilk. But the beach was perfect and the water was warm. Almost blue water and white sand. Perfect to relax.

When I visited in September it was pretty empty. Water temp warm,no waves. Moved here in December2018, season full swing. Beaches packed!! Bicycle lanes on roads crowded! It is beautiful&friendly but busy like a tiny beachside Manhattan

Great beach, beautiful, laid back. The parking is $2.50/hr; there were some spots in the lot left at 9am, but then it fills up. We had a shuttle from our hotel. The beach is just super pleasant. Not too far from the on to the beach to the water's edge. Nice, clean bathrooms. Water bottle fill up. Snack bar. Beautiful water, some little fish, nice shells, some pelicans... Just a beautiful way to spend the day.

Highly recommend this beautfil beach, great area to relax friendly and easy to access. plenty of space very popular but for some reason never seems overcrowded

we actually took family photos at this location , and even though we come to Naples pretty often we had never been to this part of the ocean before and were so happy we were introduced to this area. will be back

I can’t imagine a more public beach that could have better accommodations than Lowdermilk. It has parking (2.50/hr) clean bathrooms, showers and the beaches are clean with beautiful palms!! The lowdermilk park is beautifully landscaped and a great place for all ages!!

Friends of Lowdermilk Park will not let you down. Here is a park in the heart of Naples Florida that has plenty of parking, a gazebo, a pavilion, refreshment stand and above all a beach that is to cherish. Go once and you will return as it will become a favorite.

Beautiful beach. But as if 2/28/2023 the Red Tide was still
polluting the water and air. We lasted a couple of hours but decided to play it safe. Arrived at 9:30 and had no problems with a parking spot. Concessions are closed. Restrooms open and very clean and nice. Great beach though. Just bad timing for our visit.

The park is very clean and nice, it has picnic tables and a playground, easy parking and an access to the beach. The beach is very clean and we were amazed by sand and water. Sunset worth a visit.

Very nice beach, with a cafe just at the beach with good food. It's possible to rent a sunchair if you want.

Every time we visit here we have a great time on the beach, good parking (pay) but an ideal place to pull up and watch the sun go down.

Great beach. Wonderful sunset spot. Perfect beach to walk or run on. Love the benches that are easily accessible with beach views.

Lowdermilk is a great beach for anyone. Rental chairs and umbrellas, bring your own, everything except glass. There is a place to eat. Real hamburgers, fry's, hot dogs, wraps,... just try it. Fun for all!

I visited this place with my mom and girlfriend back in February and really enjoyed it. We arrived in the afternoon. There is PAID public parking and although it took some time to find a spot we found one finally and were able to get to the beach. There is a building with covered seating in the middle that sells food, rents beach equipment and there are some public bathrooms that are pretty new and clean on the back end with a couple of outdoor showers to get the sand off. There is plenty of nice and clean white sand to set yourself up and enjoy the sunset on the beautiful Florida Gulf Coast. There is also a small park section with some beach volleyball courts and grassy areas to enjoy as well.

Loved the parking availability, snack stand, easy access to the beach, children's play area nice and available. We were able to rent chairs and umbrella for $30 the entire day, which is pricey, but if you are there the entire day, it's a great deal.

Beautiful, clean beach with easy parking, restrooms and welcoming concessions. Restaurants along the nice walk on beach. Loved this beach area!

Nice beach. Parking becomes a challenge on Sunday after 11am
I would suggest you to arrive early or come a different day.

We visited several beaches while in Naples and Lowdermilk was one of our favorites. We go there around 10:30 and was able to get a cabana which was very nice. The beach had a little more sea shells than expected but overall it was nice. The parking was limited but we found a space upon arrival. Although we didn't purchase anything, they do have a concession stand with covered picnic area. Their restroom facilities are clean. Would visit again. Visited Vanderbilt beach and it was way too crowded.

This white sand beach offers easy-access parking, as well as picnic tables to enjoy lunch or dinner at the beach! Get there early for sunset!

Great location. I will be back with family and will take advantage of the location on more time. This might be the best area for Naples Florida.

The facilities here were kept nice and clean and the parking area was never very full. The beach was well-maintained & the property had many amenities

I have been going to Laudermilk Beach since I was a child in the 70’s . It has a nice pavilion, restrooms, an outside shower, volleyball courts, snack bar, picnic tables, and private pavilions as well as nice grassy areas! It’s a little busy during season so you want to get there early, but you can always walk down the beach to quieter areas while still taking advantage of the amenities there

This is our favorite beach! We are here 2 to 3 times a week, nice big beach, great beach for walking. The beach snack bar is really good! They have real hamburgers cooked great, better than any fast food, fries are great and pretzels. They have real food and fruit. Have water bottle refill station!!

This is my favorite beach in Naples. It is my husband's second favorite. It is clean and rarely crowded. We don't have little children, but there were many families there. The parking is ample, but a little high compared to Clam Pass. The hamburgers at the concession stand are good. The water in Naples is always so warm and calm. I will visit often.

Highlights below, but in summary; stunning beach with powdered white sand, clean water, not many people of an evening. Really enjoyed our evening stroll. We walked to the pier, maybe 30 minutes. Beautiful sunset.
Highlights:
- no litter.
- clean , plentiful toilets by pier.
- feet and body showers at pier.
- beach patrol at pier area ensuring no dogs on beach and safe.
- saw wildlife ; dolphins, birds.

While staying in Fort Myers Beach with my wife and 2 young daughters, we enjoyed Lowdermilk Beach the most due to the ease of parking and short walk to beach, the concessions available right there and outdoor showers and very clean bathrooms. We did very much enjoy Fort Meyers Beach where our condo was on the gulfside, Lovers Key Beach (requires 5 minute parking lot shuttle ride to beach), Gulfside City On Sanibel as well. Sand was smooth and clean at all locations.

Beautiful sand at this public beach, but go early for a parking spot (metered parking).
Picnic tables and grassy areas are nice for family gatherings. Bathrooms.
Naples has beautiful sunsets!

Decent beach. The water was warm, green and a bit of seaweed. Lots of interesting birds. We didnt use the facilities so I cannot comment on those.

Gorgeous beach with soft white sand. Pay to park by card or coins is $2.50 an hour. Concession stand and restrooms are also available.

We checked out several beaches while we were in Naples and Lowdermilk was one of the nicest. The only downside is that it gets a little crowded. We found some good shells on the beach and the beach access is great.

nice beach with amenities but now the greatest for shelling. For families with young kids this is a great beach as it has bathrooms and eats

Nice beach with good facilities. Beach access is very easy. Great place to start or end a long morning run.

Great beach park! They have showers, bathrooms, a snack bar... The parking was difficult since we were there on a busy beautiful Saturday.

My family enjoyed the water and building sand castles - we went around 9:30 each day and had no trouble finding parking but cars were circling by the time we left each day. Parking was $2.50 an hour and you could pay with quarters or credit card at one of the machines, I put in my cell phone # so they could text me when my time was ending, which allowed me to extend the time without returning to the kiosk. We didn’t check out the playground or sand volleyball, or rent a paddle board, kayak or beach chair but all that was available. The restrooms were clean and there were showers outside behind the snack stabs where we could wash the sand off ourselves before getting in the car.

Parking can be a headache, but, otherwise this is a good beach to relax, there is a nice concession for food, and all the beach fun implements you may need are available to rent (not cheap, but, it’s in Naples).

We enjoyed the beach. It was nice and not terribly crowded. The pool water was slightly less clear but calm. It was a bit cold in March but we still swam.

Spent a couple of days at this beach and enjoyed it immensely--at least, we did on the first day.
Long stretch of beach which was great for walking. Lots of shells!
We got lucky with the parking as someone was pulling. out of their space just before we arrived on both days.
There are a few free palapas if you happen to forget to bring an umbrella. Concession and bath rooms are just off the beach sand.
On the second day, we encountered a stiff wind that kicked-up the sand, feeling like tiny pins when it hit your skin. We lasted about an hour before we had to leave. Of interest, however, is that once we got off the beach sand and into the park area beyond, the wind died down and it was quite comfortable.
A long fishing pier is a good place for camera shots of the beach!

Stunning beach with all the conveniences: nice bathrooms, snack bar, chair and umbrella rentals. Get there early for the best parking options. White sand and clear water. Pretty hard to beat.

Great place to go with family and friends in a hot day, There was plenty of parking spots available the day we went and we had a lot of fun here!

Evwry time we go to Naples Lowdermilk Park is the beach we like to visit. We like that it has a very comfortable change room, you can wash off that sand. Very good parking space. Easy to use paying station. This is a scenic beach. We recommend this beach to evety one.

This is a lovely beach, clean and accessible. There is parking, but come early or late. The facilities are good and there are areas for picnics. The beach and facilities are in a great part of town and after the beach, go to one of the many restaurants up and down the Tamiami Trail (Rt. 41).

The beach is absolutely beautiful. The city of Naples does a wonderful job of keeping the beach clean and accessible.
The men’s restroom was the cleanest beach restroom I’ve ever been in and I think was air conditioned!
They have a great snack bar with a great variety of food and drinks.
I would absolutely go back!

The park is a treasure. Chair rental, snacks, close in parking make it easy for families with children or seniors to enjoy the powder soft beach and blue sea.

it's a very nice and clean beach area very close to the "center" and marina of Naples. I would recommend checking the tides on Google if you want to go shelling because you'll likely find more "new" shells during low tide.

This gulf beach has many amenities, including rental umbrellas/chairs/ longboards, etc. There is also a food cabana (with shaded picnic tables) which has burgers, hot dogs, wraps, and sodas at reasonable prices. Bathrooms and an outdoor shower are in this area, as well. The beach itself is very lovely, however by 11:30 (even in the off season) it becomes very congested. The water is usually very pretty, and there are plenty of shells along the coast. The waves are typically on the smaller size, unless a storm front is approaching. You do need to pay to park unless you are a local with a season pass. These limited parking spots fill up fast, so head there before 11a!

Title says it all. Concession stand too. Parking gets tough in season and the beach crowded, but if you do find a space, you shouldn't be disappointed.

An unexpected stop at Lowdermilk Beach resulted in a perfect picture at sunset for the next Christmas card! Lots of parking makes it easy to stop by, and you will find a mix of families and couples enjoying the dreamy sand.

Beautiful beach with gorgeous park and pond on site. Bathhouse and out shower area was convenient as well as on-site concessions.

Great for people watching but for less crowded beach try the beaches north nearVenetian Village and Seagate. Or down on Gorden Drive and pretend you are sun bathing in front of your $58 million shack.

Beach is very clean and peaceful with great position on the gulf. We were lucky to watch fireworks here last year and view great sand sculptures this year.

I enjoyed the beach. The weather was beautiful. A great day for walking on the beach of just getting some sun. If you are visiting Naples I recommend you visit the beach during your stay.

Hotel shuttled is there and provided us with chairs and umbrella. Clean quiet beach. Pavilion had food and drinks and bathrooms so you can spend the day! Beautiful area to walk around or bike ride.

The beaches around here deserve 5 stars, but I only give them 4 because of lack of parking. When someone is staying for 2 months, they can't exactly afford to pay $8 every time they want to go to the beach. I don't mind parking on a street, but it doesn't appear to be any place to park there either. The issue with Naples is that everything is gated or blocked off. Access to the gulf is not very easy. I'm going to try and figure out the bus system. Maybe that will help. I will say, a wonderful thing about Lowdermilk is that there are two places you can eat. An affordable one right there in the park, al beit, a lot of junky food, and then one further south. A restaurant with awesome seating, but the prices are very expensive there. I was there on a Friday and couldn't believe how packed the beach was!

Has public restrooms, showers and cafe. Cafe serves food, beer, wine, etc and will fill your cooler with ice for 50cents per scoop. They also have a rental area with chairs, umbrellas, tables, kayaks. If the main area is too crowded, just walk a little ways down and you are fine. Parking is $2.50/hour

A very nice beach in Naples off of Gulf Shore Blvd. The beach is clean and usually pretty quiet. There's plenty of parking available in the lot and some extra park located on the streets. Bathrooms available as well.

Ok, so maybe I went at the wrong time? I am not aggressive, but am not passive. I believe that if I am waiting with my blinker on and make a move to pull in a spot, and you cut me off, your tires may have worked better on the way in than they will on the way out. Ok, ok. After meditating myself back to a beachy vibe, I walked along the side walk to the white sand beach. A large beach. Full of rainbow umbrellas, piles of sandy shovels and dirty buckets. A swing moving slowly back and forth in the sea breeze. A few soggy children with pink skin, new goggles atop their heads of beachbum hair skuddled past me towards the hotdog stand with damp dollars. Lowdermilk is a very family friendly beach
Lots of people. Lots of wagons and beach chairs and bags of lays. It is a great beach for families - lots of kids. It is in a residential neighborhood close to downtown naples. Of all of the local beaches, it is the most commercial and least natural. It is still a great beach - I wish you all the luck in the world parking. I hope when you go, you are the only car, you roll up with your Collier County Parking pass, grab your beach bag and your toes are loving the warm sand before you even have a chance to lock the car. You're probably there at 630 am, but early bird catches the worm - dont they. Hooray for vitamin Sea!

Lowdermilk is a great beach for families. There are clean facilities, a snack bar, and the ability to rent various water toys (SUPs, kayaks, etc.) right at the beach. Free lifejackets are also provided if you are nervous about your kids near the water.
There are also volleyball courts and TWO play structures.
It can get busy so get there early if you want a prime spot.

Very crowded as people are close to one another at beach compared to other Naples beaches, due to large parking lot and access to restrooms, showers and a nice snack bar that sells hotdogs, hamburgers, soda etc. People visiting and staying in hotel can have access to this beach via shuttle. There is a large covered area to shade you while you eat at picnic tables or sit on stools and take in the gorgeous view of the Gulf. Picnic benches and small play ground on the grounds too. if you arrive very early you can get one of the four chickee huts to shed yourself from the sun that are on the beach . There are two volleyball courts and umbrella, beach chair, kayak and sup rentals. No life guards. Parking for visitors is $5.00 and Collier County residents with stickers Park for free. Parking fills up very quickly so arrive early.

There during off season so not sure if its indicative of usual, but quiet, clean, great beach. TONS of shells and sand dollars. Not big waves or undertow. Perfect for families with small children.

I am writing this review in as positive a way as I can. This is a very nice Beach. But is it better than many other Beaches in the Naples Area?
It is very Nice, but so are others.
Sunsets on the Beach are beautiful but Sunsets are not Beach Specific.
Does it have superior Amenities? Not Really but very good ones.
So what does this add up to?
Go see it, but don't go out of your way to do so. Many other locations are just as nice.

We arrived before 9am - glad we did as the parking lot gets packed! We got 2 beach chairs and an umbrella for $30. The cafe was good! Not overpriced. If you are going with family - this is a great convenient spot. The only downside it was super crowded. Would go again!

This is a really beautiful public beach in Naples. They have maintained it very well. You will find volleyball courts and bathrooms which make it super convenient. Paid parking is available.

I enjoyed my visit to Lowdermilk Park yesterday. We got there a little after five so we could settle in and watch the sunset - it was a fantastic place to do this.
They have a large parking lot, and maybe because it was Thursday evening and a little after five, we were able to get a parking spot in the row closest to the beach. They have a large pavilion attached to a walk-up café where can get all kinds of food (from burgers salads to sweet treats). We were there just for the sunset, though, and made our way to the very soft-sanded and pretty beach.
The beach was clean, and while they were plenty of people watching the sunset, it was not overly crowded. Somebody had built really intricate sandcastle, and that was cool to see. A group of beachgoers said they had been protecting it all day from the “ravages of marauding children” who they had seen destroying one the day before. OK, in reality there were no “marauding children”, but a sandcastle had been kicked down the day before.
There are showers behind the pavilion where you can rinse off the sand, and also restrooms. Seems this pretty park has everything you need for a great day at the beach.

Quiet beautiful beach .
So relaxing to gaze upon the gulf.
A good idea is to get there early in the AM to avoid a lot of people and find
an excellent spot to hang out and absorb the beauty and tranquility.

Parking was a bit of a challenge but beach is beautiful! Short walk from parking lot to beach. It has clean bathrooms and a small place to order food.

Enjoyed a brief stop at this very beautiful powdery sand beach. Enjoyed watching the three pelicans diving for fish just offshore in front of us.

I travel from Ft. Lauderdale and this park never disappoints me, 4th time here this year. Worth the 90 miles and one night hotel stay. White Sand, no smell, low tide an Island is created, so sea shells are endless. Has Snack Bar, bathrooms and outdoor showers. News to me, you don't have to feed the parking meter after 5 pm. Priceless relaxation. Thank You Naples, Florida

A must visit beach! Beautiful and Family Friendly! We loved our day at this beautiful beach. The water isn’t as warm as in the Keys, but we love this white sand beach. Being from the rainy PNW, this beach was a pleasant stop during our stay in Florida. We finished the day with fish tacos and key lime pie at Gumbo Limbo - another Naples gem.

The sand was so soft and the water warm.
The facility is great, with clean restrooms, showers to rinse off sand and salt, and a grassy picnic area, with lots of interesting trees and plants.
We saw several white ibises grazing in the grass.

Easy paid parking, clean bathrooms with a small cafe and rentals .. Area very clean and QUIET:) Amazing sunsets!!! The sand is soft white relaxing.

This beach has plenty of parking, a small restaurant for snacks and light lunch, bathrooms, showers and a large rental area for chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, etc

We came here on our vacation. The beach is nice enough, soft sand like the rest of the area. There just wasn’t a wow factor to it. They had a snack bar, bathroom and not enough parking (we got there at 10:45 and barely missed the rush) but there wasn’t a lot of other activities to do that I see at many other beaches in the area (decent playground, rental areas, volleyball). The shelling was also maybe the worst I have seen at a beach. If you have other beach options, go elsewhere.

Very nice and a lot less touristic then the other beaches around naples. Wildlife is close as turtles pass you almost on the beach or parking

Nice beach - very crowded and in-season parking can be a real hassle. No alcohol allowed here; just fyi. They do have a snack shack which offers soft drinks and basic "American fare."

One of our favorite beaches in Naples; plenty of parking right by the beach. Has a snack bar with drinks and food for purchase. We really enjoy this beach in that Vanderbilt Beach can get too crowded and parking is a ways away. Parking at Lowdermilk is easy and close to the beach

Great place for watching the sunset and enjoy the breeze. Located near the coastland mall and just a few blocks from Naples pier this place is the perfect spot for unplugging.

First time here, was very nice. Had restrooms and a cafe. Beach area pretty and had beach rental items.

The beach is wonderful but the beach restaurant is the worse. Since hurricane Ian they no longer have the deep fryer and the high cost of the horrible food is almost criminal Are you kidding me? $11 for a cup of ceasar salad? Children’s hotdog is hotdog cut in half I would be ashamed to work there.

We picked up subs for dinner and brought them down for sunset. There are nice sturdy picnic tables and a pavilion. Then we walked down to the beach afterwards for a beautiful sunset view. It’s a nice inexpensive way to end the day in Naples.

Lowdermilk did not disappoint. It is beautiful beach but parking is very tricky if you don’t have a pass/sticker. Get there before 10am.

While in Naples for vacation recently this became our go to beach. They have bathrooms, concessions and a nice beach to relax on- The parking lot is large too. Definitely worth checking out!

Easy parking, short walk, food options, beautiful white sand and sea shells for the taking. Best part is an all day chair rental cost is $10. Mixed age crowd the day we went.

We spent a couple of days on this beach and honestly I preferred it to the one on Sanibel Island. There is a snack bar and you can rent water toys, chairs and umbrellas.

Was showing homes for sale in Naples to my buyers from NY. Stopped to show them one of my favorite beaches and places to bring my family, lowdermilk park. One of the best spots to come and watch the sunset. Truly a beautiful place in Collier county. If your near the park you should stop and check it out

I used to enjoy taking my young children to our local public parks in Tennessee. It was a pleasure to experience this public park in Naples. When parking, take note of your assigned number. You will need it when paying at the machine located on your way to the beach. There are not individual meters. $1.50 per half hour. I spent an hour eating lunch on the sand and enjoying the sun. It was marvelous. If I was a young parent living close, I would be bringing my family here a lot. I found it clean and pleasant.

We got there around ten and there were a lot of parking spaces. We didn’t know it was pay to park as we went to the beach up a side walkway. Not sure how we missed it. The beach was clean and beautiful!

Nice and soft, white sand. The sandbar makes some nice shallow spots close to the shoreline, which makes it great for families with smaller children. Restrooms were in fairly good shape and the snack bar is an added bonus. Showers available to rinse off the sand before getting back to your car. Was more crowded near the pavilion. If you wanted some space, you probably had to walk 100-200 yards more and then you'd be pretty much alone. Would give it 5 stars, but parking is horrible. The lot is way too small for how popular the beach is. If you don't get their early, you'll be circling until someone decides to leave. Parking was about $15 / hour which you can do on your phone or at the kiosk. All-in-all it's a great spot. Just bring your patience if you want to park close by.

Best public beach with restrooms and concessions nearby. Clean and beautiful. Water color is beautiful with white sand.

Loader milk is the perfect beach to visit, especially in the off-season. The snack bar is inexpensive and good and the bathrooms are clean and very well appointed. There are sculptures, huts so you can stay out of the sun, there are umbrellas and lounge chairs to rent if you want and several locations to wash off your feet before heading back home. Great location!

Great beach. Parking spots may be hard to come by so plan accordingly. There is a snack shack, bathrooms, outdoor showers to rinse off, and a few small playgrounds. Best spot to catch a sunset!

We popped by this beach early into our trip. One of the best feelings was walking into the fine sand which felt like therapy for our feet. Beautiful beach (clean) and water. There is a covered area where you can escape the sun for a break or grab a quick bite from the take out window. Bathrooms are in the same area. Parking is tight so try to grab a van from your hotel.

Great public beach. White sand And walk until your hearts content. Very clean. Beautiful sunset. Highly recommended..

Naples Pier (Beach) is a lovely spot on the Gulf of Mexico. Peaceful and somewhat un-American— in a good way! The water is wonderful, and you might even swim near dolphins by the pier.

For a non-Caribbean beach, I would say this was a great experience. There was a nice wide sandy beach, with rental chairs and umbrellas available. I see some people complain about paying to park, but I didn't have an issue with this, since that meant there was actually parking available.
The pavilion with very reasonably priced food was a plus. The pavilion also had outdoor showers and clean restrooms.

Beautiful beach with white sands and blue seas, all day parking around $20. $30 for a sun lounger and parasol ect. And around $8-10 for a combo meal from the pavilion. So it all builds up. For some crazy reason there was a lot of half dead bee’s on the shoreline one day so beware of the stings. Great for mackerel fishing in shore and a beautiful sunset to be seen!

This is the whitest sand I’ve come across since leaving Australia.
Parking is $2.50 per hour and there is a good cafe at the beach.
There are also lots of water things and beach gear to hire if you want.

Although parking is tough on perfect days, this great family beach has it all, playground, volleyball court and a snack shack with an extensive menu and friendly service with reasonable family pricing.

We visited for a couple of hours.
Beach lovely.. lots of families and young people but not noisy.
The sea is warm and the sand soft.. go !!

Beautiful Gulf beach with covered picnic area, bathrooms and light food and snacks. So many Coquina Clams right along the waters edge, could dig them up with our toes - all colors, watched as they quickly dug themselves back into the sands Brought back memories of my childhood. Lowdermilk Beach is a wonderful place for families to visit the Gulf in Naples.

A little too crowded during the weekend but the sand is amazing and the sunset was spectacular. Would definitely recommend stopping by this park. Especially if you’re able to do so on a weekday.

Ths beach is beautiful and clean we are considering having our wedding there. Lots of parking but I am sure that is full on weekends. Also nice restrooms and it has a restaurant that has a variety of choices.

We love this beach. They have a nice snack bar if you get hungry and changing rooms along with a few outdoor showers. The parking can be a bit tricky so it is better to try to go on off hours. The beach seems to go on for ever and you can walk down to the Naples pier if you are so inclined. I believe they also have playgrounds.

This beach is beautiful. Has white sand and plentiful shells. There is a food available and also rental of chairs and umbrellas. Nice park for picnicing and also volleyball court.

We went to Lowdermilk Park right after New Years, and immediately started coughing. Everyone around us was coughing as well, and of course we all had COVID concerns. We came to find out it was caused by red tide, not COVID, and there were supposed to be signs posted on the beach entrances. There definitely were not.
Aside from the coughing, scratchy throat, and fishkill from red tide, this park seems nice. White sand, snack bar, bathrooms, a reasonably large parking lot, chairs and umbrellas for rent. Not a lot of shelling possibilities - much more of that available at Delnor Wiggins up the road. I definitely would not return without first making sure the red tide levels were much lower than on the day we went here!

The beaches in Naples are all beautiful, I think Lowdermilk is my favorite. The white sand and emerald water makes you feel
Like you are in the Caribbean. There's a concession that serves food and alcoholic beverages. Yes, please!
The lot does fill up fast. So get there early!!!

This beach/park is beautiful and provides a lot of extras to make your visit perfect. There is a pavilion which has a food concession, restrooms, and showers to wash off sand. On the beach there is a rental site where you can rent umbrellas, beach chairs, kayaks, paddle boards, etc.
Parking is the only negative...If possible take the free slider to the beach, or, walk.

Nice area neighborhood surrounding public beach area. This place has good parking if you arrive before 9 A.M. Then, pay $3 an hour to enjoy the sunshine. (Definitely worth it when everyone we work with are battling a snowstorm at the same time)! Bathroom facilities and some food available as well. Water seems cold, but it feels good after sunning a bit first. You can wade out in the clear water quite a bit and still stand up. We saw a dolphin swim by only 100 ft. from the shore!

We arrived just before sunset. Sand was clean and so very white. There was plenty of parking just up from the pier. We were able to sit and watch a beautiful sunset. We’re planning to go again only this time hoping for clearer skies for a better sunset view!

A good location in central Naples. But there is always a problem trying to find parking so you do need to get there early enough in the day. However it’s a short walk from the parking lot to the beach with easy access at many points. The main hub has a good restaurant that does brisk trade in burgers, hotdogs and salads, as well as showers and toilets so you’re able to get changed and have something to eat once you finished on the beach The beach itself is clean and well maintained with plenty of scope for a decent walk along the beach up to the inlets at either end. We saw osprey, dolphins and plenty of other fish as well as pelicans.

Beach offers convenient public restroom and fast food restaurant facilities as well as beach equipment rentals. The beach is clean and patroled rountinely by the beach and parking lot personnel All in all a onenient and safe beah eperience for the whole family.

This is a really lovely beach. It is currently the only one in the area with both real bathrooms and a snack bar. If you get there very early you may even snag one of the palapas! The parking lot is not big, so on nice warm sunny days plan to get there by 9:30. However, if you do get there later, it’s worth the wait to get a space.

Pretty sure this is a public beach. We paid around $8 for 3 hours of very close to the beach parking. The beach has sugary white sand and the water is very calm and shallow and would be perfect for young kids. If you want one of the tiki huts I would recommend getting there early. They’re nice and shady but you do have to remember to not stand up or you will bump your noggin. The concession stand has great Italian sausage dogs and a large covered pavilion if you don’t want to eat on the beach. Fun day🌴

Was able to walk from Lowdermilk beach all the way down to the pier and downtown shops. Lovely beach

My wife and I enjoyed a nice afternoon at Lowdermilk Beach. There was good parking but this good get limited if very busy. Nice clean washrooms and concession. The Beach was only a short walk away and the swimming was very enjoyable. We visited a lot of Beaches in the area and they all had pluses and minuses but we had enjoyed our visits at all of them.

Parking right on the beach. Picnic facilities and beautiful white sand. Excellent downtown location in the Moorings.

A nice beach in Naples with plenty of paid parking and a concession stand. Like most beaches in south Florida, you’ll want to bring an umbrella for shade. Minimal, if any, waves.

This beach has it all!!! Beautiful white sand, clear water, clean & conveniently located restrooms, beach rentals, friendly staff, convenient parking, friendly beach goers, snack bar with burgers etc at very reasonable prices, and a covered picnic area.

I went here at least 3 times in the course of a month in Naples, wanted to go more, but parking is a challenge. The pavilion is nice, restrooms clean and there is a place to shower off all the sand. I quite enjoyed longs walks on the beach itself.

We love Naples and all the beaches along the coast but we just returned from 2 weeks in Florida and 6 Days in Naples and currently you can’t use the beaches.
The red tide which apparently is a naturally occurring algae and should last 3 weeks has been going on now for nearly 4 months and they advise not to swim in the sea and take caution on the beach as it can irritate. It has also been killing sea life including dolphins, manatees and fish. When I went for a run each morning they were clearing dead fish from the sea front.
There are lots of reasons and theories why it has lasted so long and I understand they tried to reverse the flow of the rivers due to the sugar plantations and this is why it has lasted so long this year.
Be very aware if you are travelling anywhere along the coast from Naples to St Pete’s beach as it stretches for over 200 miles and will ruin your beach time. We wouldn’t swim in it and wouldn’t sit on the beaches in the end.
If we hadn’t planned a year in advance and had booked and paid for everything we would have changed our plans so just check and make sure the current status before you leave.

Was able to spend a great day on this beach . It’s clean and very family oriented . It has great facilities and outdoor showers . There’s also a large concession stand on site .
Tip for parking
Look outside on the street , there is street parking without the need to pay the meter .

Our Family of five loved lowdermilk! We frequented the beach several times on our vacation to Naples! Incredible spot for sunsets and we also spotted dolphins on our morning trips!
The parking lot made it nice for unloading all of our gear!

It was a very clean and beautiful beach. The snack bar is a bit expensive, bathrooms are very nice and clean, and the water is beautiful.

We visited the park last night in time to see the sun go down. Unfortunately, it was very cloudy and the sun was not out. We still had a great time sitting on the beach and enjoying a few beverages.
There is a big parking lot, so if you get there in time you can get a space quite easily. There is also a place to shower and to clean off your feet when you are done.
Nicer than other Naples beaches, and not as crowded.

Typical of the west coast, especially in towns like Naples, the beach is a wide quiet expanse slowly sloping into the ocean. This particular beach is extremely clean and well maintained by the town.
I enjoy the birds and other creatures when I take my morning walk.
There is access to the beach from most of the intersecting roads and even though it is public, it remains quiet.

Beautiful beach. Bathrooms accessible for all. Outside showers to rinse off from the sand. Concession available if you need a bite to eat.

This beautiful beach is hands down the best beach in Naples. White sand, warm sea, clean washing facilities, rentals for chairs/umbrellas, paddle boards/kayaks & plenty of parking spaces makes this beach a fabulous place to spend the day. There was a snack bar that looked fine but we didn't try it. Top tip, stay until sunset!

Beach is nice with powdery sand but super windy! This place needs a lot more parking to accommodate all the people who flock here! We went early (by 930 am) every time and the lot was always full, plus a few rude people who were "holding a spot" for a friend! The only way I'd go back is to walk there or take a shuttle. Beach itself is nice.

This was our first visit to Lowdermilk beach. The beach was very nice, but the parking is somewhat limited. The parking rate is $3 per hour and I would recommend getting there early. We went on Monday at 10 am and had no problem finding a parking spot, but by noon, the beach was getting more crowded so I would assume parking was an issue.

I love this area, the facilities are great with something for everyone. The concession area is really good for either a coffee, cold drink or a snack hot or cold, at lunch time and also a large covered seating area. Showers, restrooms are also on hand. It goes without saying that the beach is perfect. Pedal floats and canoes can be rented as well. It was voted the best beach to come to by our grandchildren when we visited last year.

We usually go to South Beach on Marco Island but thought we'd try something new. Both beaches are absolutely gorgeous but the sand on Lowdermilk is much nicer...less shells. Although there is much more parking by Lowdermilk, you still need to get there early. Especially on the weekends, they fill up rather quickly. They have bathrooms there and a very nice snack bar. Will definitely go back! 👍

I Love Loudermlk Beach. Beautiful beach . Parking lot available but in season it’s very difficult getting a space later than 9:30am.Nice concession stand with good prices. Bathroom and dressing rooms available. Your also available to rent chairs and umbrellas

We stopped to eat our bagel breakfast at the park. So lovely. So close to the water. Nice shaded huts. Bathrooms and Pavillions, GO

Lovely beach with good facilities. Great views of the sunset if you get there at the right time, which is around 8pm onwards. It does get busier at sunset, so get there early. The only downside to the facilities are the restrooms. Most times these are very smelly and in need of maintenance. There is also a small food stall serving hot food, snacks and drinks.

This public beach has it all - foods, washing facilities, umbrellas, chairs. A wonderful way to enjoy the beach in Naples
great beach
we are living in east florida coast, here the beaches are really different with the white "flour" sand ! beautiful.
But there are a lot of people on the beaches...compare to the east florida...not really good for covid. But go to see this beach - amazing. And the water is more hot than the east coast in April.
