Magic! You have to go.

By Abner_Leme |

What magic. What a wonderful place. Best time I was in October, good weather and little queue.
It was my wife's first time, she got euphoric, definitely the main Disney park. You can't lose any attraction.

My tip 1 is you go by ferryboat and return by nonorail.

Tip 2 is to start from the left side of the park and go checking the schedules in the app. That day I missed the afternoon stop, because I thought it was 15:00 and the app was indicating 14:00. At that time I was taking a photo with Cinderella kkkkk

Tip 3 After the fires the park remains open until 22:00 (confirms in the app) and with this makes you manage to go one more (or two) times in an attraction, like a throne. I went and it was sensational. Anyone who goes in line by 22:00 can leave.

Very nice!!!
The park attractions are open and there are fewer people in the park so the queues are smaller.
The sweet spots give quite sweet.
The characters dressed in halloween look very cute.

I love this place

A place full of magic, where people of all ages can enjoy. The parks are fantastic, I love it and I would go back a thousand times more😍😍

Bad experience , disproportionate value for money

By Luca R |

Absurd 180 $ each ticket and there is not even a smoking area
The best attractions almost never work, amazing things to do even the least rated attractions
10 h of park and for smoking a cigarette, I have to go out and lose now
Rude and very bossy staff
I will not return
Much better eurodisney

alot of money, little value

By michael c |

A lot of glitter but a lot of issues

Rides, many were down, broken, stalled, many stopped

transportation

trams broke, monorail broke, sky ride broke

only reliable mode was the busses

No one knew the boat schedules or where they when or at what times

food

ok in the park but at the Contemporary, Mickey's cafe, expensive buffet not as good as a Golden Coral

Beef, shoe leather, Italian food like mush, Asian food like out of a can

66 bucks a person

Separated from family by staff.

By RicRei |

Took the grandkids and family. Kids had a great time ages 5 5 and 3. Overall they are stealing your money. Jam packed crowds at 200 a pop with lightning passes. Still unable to get on many rides total of 11 hours at park. This was expected. 90% of rides were 40 yrs old or older basically an old amusement park with super long li es mid week. No characters in site all day.
This could've been acceptable until my 5 yr old grandson and myself went to the bathroom just before the fireworks. We were stopped and not allowed to go back to our family on our way back. I begged and pleaded as they were almost in site but 2 staff members refused to let us go to them. They said to walk around which was a major walk. We walked but got stuck in the crowd. If it was a safety reason why were there so many people visibly walking and standing in line for rides where they wouldn't let us go. This ruined the entire families day as they were extremely worried when we didn't come back. Took 45 minutes to find them after the fireworks.
By the way at SeaWorld the day before we were allowed to cross the street to get together with our family just before the parade. Thus I have no respect for Disney as they are for $$$ only at the expense of their customers. I know more than likely many other families have experienced this but I'm hoping this alerts the future customers of what they're in for at this park.

UK visitor - One Day Ticket

By Walshy Travels 🇬🇧 |

Firstly UK visitors need to know that once you are in the US and you can change your mobile’s region to US in the settings; it is possible to access the Disney US website where you can select, book & pay for one day entry tickets to the parks.

It’s scandalous that Disney do not allow access to these options from the UK instead forces you to only select a minimum 7 day ticket! We are absolutely done with the 7 days visits to Disney World and just wanted a day ticket to Magic Kingdom which is what we did on our recent visit.

It was a very long day because of the expense of the ticket we stayed from morning to the firework show. I think that was only made possible because it was raining off and on all day which took the sting out of the heat. There was still a lot we couldn’t get done in the day due to the size of crowds and wait times and we spent an additional $100 getting lightening tickets for Tron since the standby tickets were gone within seconds of going live. You cannot queue for Tron traditionally, you have to try and obtain time slots on their app which opens for reservations a couple of times of the day. Given how short this ride is I doubt this will change soon, especially when we were stuck waiting in a queue still over an hour due to break downs.

If you go with the expectation that you won’t get to do everything and narrow down things that you absolutely want to do you won’t go far wrong.

On the whole we enjoyed our experience but it was also good to have it confirmed that our decision a couple of years ago to no longer do prolonged stays at Disney Parks was a right one. We are on a mission to see every Disney Castle around the world so it’s off to the far east for us now!

Ripped off for the sake of $80

By Andy W |

Rip off merchants with poor customer service. We spent a small fortune on tickets to Magical Kingdom and Hollywood. We didn’t want photos for Magical Kingdom but did for Hollywood, so bought the Magic Maker photo pass for $80 with the Hollywood tickets transaction which was separate from our Magical Kingdom transaction. Long story short the app allowed me to download my Magic Kingdom photos but I later found out it had used the Magic Maker pass I’d bought for our Hollywood trip. In the user flow there was NO MENTION of my Memory Maker pass being used. Disney support refused to acknowledge this and refused to provide any resolution instead blaming me for using the pass. I’d understand if the UX in the app made it clear I was using my pass but it made zero mention.

It may seem like a small thing, but when you are spending THOUSANDS and they refuse to resolve an issue that they caused by their poor system it doesn’t reflect well on any support you can expect.

I’ll never go to another Disney venue ever again. Abysmal support.

Better not…

By Michael K |

Probably the worst experience in all of Orlando. Aside from the (expected) crowds and the associated waiting times, The price/performance ratio is absolutely bad. Disneyland is an outdated and completely unattractive park. All we did was pay a lot of money, sweat in the queues with far too little shade and endure completely unspectacular rides! There are dozens of better parks in the world. In our opinion, a complete disappointment!

Magical place

By Jean Lira |

An amazing park, top pyrotechnics show, always friendly staff.
Something you can’t miss, I went in the offseason so it wasn’t necessary to pass quickly.

Spectacular lights Show at the Castle

By Joanna W |

Very Crowded, You have to wait sometimes 1 Hour for nothing special… sorry. I was also dissapointed because I couldnt get in to the Castle / You Brede some special booking for the Restaurant or some Beauty Programm for Kids 60 days in advance! I didn’t know that. The Parade was very nice at 3pm. For me the best part was the light show on the Castle -It was amazing! Some Attractin are really old and not so nice any more but maybe for the kids it’s ok.

Magic Kingdom

By GoVols79 |

Our family loves visiting Walt Disney World and there is nothing quite like the Magic Kingdom. We always do lots of research and have a plan for what rides we want to do and which restaurants we want to visit. Arriving before the park opens allows a much better experience and we typically stay in Disney resorts. We purchased lightning lane passes for every day and while expensive it made the experience so much better. The longest wait we had was Tron but we rode it during the day and at night. We live the Magic Kingdom and will certainly be back at some point.

Classic Disney rides but more crowded than the other Disney parks

By yss97 |

The latest ride is Tron, so expect long queues for what turns out to be a pretty short ride at the end of it. The other rides are classics and many lived by the younger guests, so there is usually a wait for everything.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure operates a Virtual Queue so you can only book it via the app. The morning is usually full - not sure how people get on there. The next window is at 1pm but you have to be quick and still get a slot at the end of the day!
Try to go when there are fireworks- they are truly spectacular and people start lining and booking their spot on Main Street by 6.30pm for the show at 8pm!

Disappointing day out

By Tamsin A |

Very disappointed with our trip to Magic Kingdom today and as a HUGE Disney fan this upsets me to write this. Fifth time visiting Magic Kingdom (we are from the UK) and can honestly say that myself, hubby and eldest child (15 years) left feeling that the MAGIC had gone 😟 My 2 younger daughters still enjoyed the day but were disappointed that the NEW Tiana water ride (previously Splash Mountain) was closed ALL day. Also unable to experience the new TRON ride - even though we had been added to the “virtual queue”. Waited all day to go on this and when our slot came up at approx 8pm we were told the ride was unavailable. Lots of disappointed and angry customers at the entrance to this ride, I even spotted other children in tears.

Other glitches included the Haunted Mansion stopping 4 times in one ride, Little Mermaid ride also stopped 3 times in one ride.

Park felt dated, cast members looked unhappy and not as “smiley” as I remember previously and the Pinocchio restaurant we dined in was overcrowded and dirty.

Didn’t see ONE character walk around the park all day (with the exception of the midday parade) which my daughters again were disappointed to experience.

In our opinion we don’t be visiting this ONCE awesome park for a very long time.

Value for money a definite NO-NO , Disney really need to up their game!! Very disappointed ☹️

Magic lost

By Travel with |

Magic lost, forget getting DAS If you have a disability, that is classed on the American disability list of disability or uk
We have in our party type one diabetes
Bowel disease sight loss unable to do steps or stairs adhd and add and other spectrum things.
Since the implementation of the “new”
Rules only autism none verbal or major sensory issues allow you to be given DAS
Which in my opinion is discrimination against all other disabilities.

The park itself is dirty and I don’t mind paying for genie plus etc but the long wait lines since Disney got money hungry is unacceptable.
The app is glitchy and you have to be on the app so much for family time? Disney get it together

By Veronica M |

A place with all the magic of Disney that is really worth visiting. It is advisable to first look at which attractions to enter because there are many and in some cases you need to buy the quick pass to avoid waiting

Brilliant

By 241wearytraveller |

Entry to the park for the evening event starts at 4pm which is great as it gives you a full 8 hours. All special event guests are given a gift of a special Disney Christmas tree decoration. From 4pm to 7pm it is quite busy as there are both day and night guests and the wait times for attractions are quite long, but waiting times drop after the day trippers leave.
Someone mentioned there wasn’t much snow and it was dark….what do you expect, it’s nighttime, it’s Florida and it’s Disney so even the fake snow is magical. There are 2 parades, try to get on the attractions during one of them, the wait times are even shorter then.
Well worth a visit for any age

Loved Disney!

His was our second trip to Disney with the family. We had an amazing time! Plenty to do and love the energy from staff and patrons 😊

Q Q Q and more Q

By Gerard K |

Could be fantastic, but food, especially drinks, are so expensive. Also rides were breaking down regularly, and the lines were just too long.

It's OK, Paris is much nicer.

By Pi F |

For adults who like to ride roller coasters, there is not much good choice. It is really designed for children, which is not a problem in itself, but the prices are outrageous to me. Drinking where you can't refill. The food which tastes ok but skyrockets in price. I left especially when American citizens weren't on vacation or anything. Still totally overflowing. Absolutely not worth the price, sorry.

The lanes and the queues totally listless designed, if it was designed at all....

Nostalgic Magic Lost

By Josue C |

There is something magical when you enter the Magic Kingdom in the morning, shops opening, candy shop making caramel apples, and then the view of Cinderella's Castle. I went on a Tuesday and the park was not crowded at all, we were able to do quite a few rides, the carousel, Journey of the Little Mermaid, Dumbo, Space Mountain, Barnstormer, It's a Small World, Haunted Mansion, Hall of Presidents, Country Bear Jamboree, Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Jungle Cruise. We would have rode more but, since it was a young girl's birthday we were celebrating, we ended up going to as much of the meet and greets, Mickey, Goofy & Donald, Cinderella & Tiana, Minnie & Daisy, etc. We ate at the Sleepy Hollow, which I did enjoy the large corn dog, and the chicken & waffles. The food was priced fair for the portions they served.
I did really had a good day, but the Magic Kingdom does have a steep admission fee, and with all the construction in the park, you really don't get your moneys worth. The park has also lost a lot of it's charm, they are replacing Tom Sawyer Island and the Steam Ship that cruised around the island, seems like a Pixar theme area is going up. The Magic Kingdom which in my opinion relied on nostalgia has lost feel of timelessness, Disney has taken out or replace some of it's more iconic attractions.
Overall the Magic Kingdom is a great place to spend a day, if you don't mind spending a a bit on entering, and the lost nostalgia.

Total Disappointment

By I v |

Waste of money! Hardly any snow! Too dark, didn’t see the “Yuletide Mickey Mouse” stage show, as advertised, and I guess we had to go on a scavenger hunt in search of the “cookies and cocoa”! Although the name of the event starts with “Mickey”, we were there for 5 hours and did not see him once. We waited for a parade for one hour and all we saw were girls twirling large white balls in the air! A total waste!

Lightning Lanes are a must.

By Erik & Megan H |

Other than getting stuck on the Carousel of Progress we had a wonderful day. Dinner at the Crystal Palace was yummy, we would recommend. Use the lightning lanes or you will be in lines all day it’s an additional $35 a person, but worth it.

Spooktacular Fun at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

By Saverseats |

Step into the Magic Kingdom after dark and watch it transform into a Halloween wonderland! From trick-or-treat trails overflowing with candy to the Boo-To-You parade featuring your favorite Disney villains, every corner bursts with festive fun. The exclusive fireworks show, Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular, lights up the sky with Mickey, Minnie, and friends in Halloween costumes. Lines for rides are shorter, and the park glows with pumpkin-lit charm — it’s a must-do fall event for Disney fans of all ages.

Plan Nov-Dec Visit to Magic Kingdom Around Mickey Very Merry Christmas Party Dates

By PackUpNGoNow |

Magic Kingdom holds Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, its special holiday evening event (not part of regular ticket admission), on select dates in November and December. Consider going to the evening Christmas Party event for “smaller” crowds and cooler weather evenings. Plus there are special extras for Christmas Party guests.

If you are not planning on doing the holiday event, maybe avoid visiting Magic Kingdom on the Christmas Party dates because without a ticket to the Christmas Party, regular ticket holders will have to leave Magic Kingdom early. This means cutting your park hours short as well as missing the popular MK fireworks show and enjoying the park during evening hours.

Or splurge and buy both regular admission tickets and Christmas Party tickets for the full experience at Magic Kingdom!

They should stay true to what they used to be

By Lee S |

We have loved Disney for years but the prices have just gotten so high and I'm not so sure about the family values they once had. Having said that, everything they do is first rate and the parks are always so clean and in order. I don't think we will be back though, which is a shame. The company has just changed too much.

Great Day if Planned Out

By RecreationV |

If you are willing to spend some money, the Magic Kingdom can be magical. Because of the crowds at the end of Dec., we spent extra for the Genie/Fastpass (whatever it's called) so as to avoid most lines. It works! If you manage it well, you can breeze through the fast lane in just a matter of minutes. These shorter waits allowed our family to get to all the rides and attractions that were on the list, and there were no cranky children (or adults). Kids loved the day. Adults did too. And the happy memories will last a long time.
As for the evening fireworks, kids were soooo tired! We used the opportunity to take the ferry back to the parking lot just as the fire works started. We had a great view from the ferry as we sailed across the water. Perfect end to a lovely day. No crowds on the ferry and none at the parking lot either, which meant a quick walk to the car and out we drove.

skipping Magic Kingdom would be a big mistake!

By Voyage60924171737 |

Magic Kingdom never gets old—no matter how many times I visit, the magic is still there. Cinderella Castle is as stunning as ever, especially when it lights up at night. Meeting Mickey and Minnie in person still makes me as excited as a kid.

Amazing place, very welcoming staff, all friendly and very representative of Disney. So many restroom and food outlets. Thanks for making my teenagers experience.

As one would expect, this is Disney.
Absouloutly shattering, but well worth it.
All i can do is agree with other posative reviews.
Nothing really sticks out as negative.

Light Crowd on a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Day

By PackUpNGoNow |

We visited Magic Kingdom on a December weekday when the park was scheduled to close early to regular day guests for a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

Unless you are attending the Mickey's Christmas Party, you will not see much holiday decor at Magic Kingdom beyond decorated lamp posts on Main Street and the holiday overlay on the Jungle Cruise ride (aka Jingle Cruise during the holidays). We did notice some extra twinkling lights and holiday garlands on Main Street since our last visit in November - maybe the enhanced decor is connected to a Hallmark movie rumored to being filmed at Walt Disney World?

We watched the Festival of Fantasy Parade from Frontierland (where the parade begins). There was no need to stake out a spot to watch the parade and we had a curbside spot maybe 15 minutes before the start of the parade. We saw a park guest experience a Disney Magical Moment during the parade - Alice walked up to the young girl and offered her an imaginary cup of tea and pretended to nibble on her gingerbread Minnie ears :o)

With a light park crowd, it was nice that the ride wait times were not long. Except for rides like Tron, Jingle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan's Flight and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, most rides were no more than a 1/2 hour wait. Even the wait times for Tiana's Bayou Adventure (maybe because it was too chilly to get wet) and Pirates of the Caribbean were around 15-20 minutes and many of the kiddie rides like Mad Tea Party were walk-ons (less than 10 minutes).

It's Disney.

By IgorLPS |

Magic Kingdom is the main park and carries all the atmosphere that the Disney universe has. In this park has the main castle that happens at the closing of every day the fireworks show which is a well-known attraction.
The park also contains the Russian mountain from the throne film, which is the most radical attraction of the park to date.
The park is very large and we had a lot of trouble finding the water points, and on a sunny summer day that can make all the difference.
It is the park with the most difficult access, it is only possible to reach the entrance with a boat or a train from Disney itself, making the exit tired due to the amount of people who visit this park.
But it is still an attraction to meet at least once if you are in Orlando.

They're destroying Walt's dream

By carlostsviajes |

Oversold.
Stunning lines.
If you’ve been before, it’s going to disappoint you, because before there was the fast past of 3 games that you were renewing as you used it. I change already several times, I understand that to find the round, but it was always for the worse. There's a solution: don't sell so many tickets.
Obviously they won less $, but it's not just about Winning.
Of course the park is beautiful, of that there is no doubt, a dream, but the counterpart is lethal..but it is high the price to pay to enjoy it
I went with the 4-day Hooper Pass... not enough of the queues there are
I have also seen that the treatment of tourists is not the best, in some cases, but before no case was seen. And there are papers on the floor

Magic not the same

By Katie L |

We came here during our recent holiday to Orlando. This is our 6th visit and we noticed the difference from the last time we were here. Firstly the crowds. Considering it was meant to be a bit quieter as some children back at school it wasn’t. Some people have mentioned Disney allowing bigger capacity and this would explain it.

The prices of merchandise had increased a lot since our last visit. $39.99 for a baby Disney character wrapped in a blanket! But if people keep buying they will increase the price.

Our first visit was busy but we managed to get what we wanted done and see the parade. Now the parade was good but smaller than before. Not as many characters.

We went in one evening to see the fireworks and they were great. Disney does not disappoint with the fireworks. But, they pack you in like sardines and in the heat and humidity it’s not pleasant.

Getting to and from the park from the car parks is a faff. The monorail or boar takes time so make sure you factor in.

On our last visit we wanted to finish off a couple of things and make sure we did Tiana”s Bayou Adventure so up we got at 6.50am to join the virtual queue and get a slot. When we headed into the park we couldn’t work out why our group was not showing any info. Turns out the ride was closed. Along with 3 others. We wandered round and queued up for other rides but as there were rides closed this meant the others all started to get huge queues. We went back to Tiana”s to ask what would happen and we were told we would be given a slot later in the day or on another day. That’s all good but we were leaving the next day and had planned on only being in the park till early afternoon. She said to go to guest services. We walked over to a blue umbrella to be met by someone who, in my husbands opinion, was about as useful as talking to a tree. One of his responses was “it’s a rough morning”. When you have spent so much time and money planning a visit here you don’t expect that sort of response. We went to Guest services at the top of Main Street and they were a bit more helpful.

We decided to try and get on a couple more rides but when queuing for the haunted mansion, stuck in there quashed together like sardines and were then told to get out after about half an hour as it broke down. We were then told to leave the building and it was awful. If there was an emergency goodness knows how you would get out in a rush. We then went to see a show and it took a while to enter and we were told there were also technical issues. COME ON DISNEY this is not on. We had had enough by that time so we decided to leave and then were waiting for the monorail and told due to the inclement weather there were delays.

Such a shame as we love Disney but this experience has somewhat changed our opinion. Ir seems Disney will take your money but guest experience goes out the window. My one piece of advice would be if you go and a ride you want to do is open. Do it as if you wait for another day or time it might bit closed.

Still the most magic place on earth

By Bogotarocks |

Still the most Magic Place on earth. Yes Disney is expensive - but the money it must cost to keep the place looking so magic. The place is spotless.

Since our last visit they have added the Tiana ride which is excellent - but be sure to get in that virtual queue or make that multi pass reservation early. It is a busy place - so if you can afford it buy multi passes - it will make your day far more enjoyable.

TIP - if you are coming from abroad you can now make your multi pass selections in your country of origin - you don't need to wait until you land in The US.

opinion from someone who is Disney-neutral

By Jaskel08 |

Our family went to Disney World for the first time. We all had lots of fun and we are glad we went. There are already a ton of reviews already describing the ins and out of Magic Kingdom. So, I’ll share with you my thoughts and observations:

WEATHER. We went in mid-April. The average temp was 85 degrees and 45% humidity. That’s reasonable to me. IMO, avoid the summer sweltering heat/humidity at all cost.
ARIVE EARLY/STAY LATE. The busiest times are during the day. It’s much less busy during the early morning and late afternoon.
LONG LINES. Be prepared. This is what we hate about the park. This is also why it didn’t receive 5 stars. Waiting more in 40 minutes in a line for a ride that last 2-3 minutes will suck the life force out of you.
DISNEY AP. It can be your best friend or your worst nightmare. It is nuanced and complex and the developers are always messing with it. Watch YouTube videos on how to navigate it. This is very important.
ALCOHOL. They do sell it at restaurants. You will need it at some point.
COST. As you can imagine, entrance/food/drink is way overpriced. Be prepared.
LIGHTNING LANES/PASS. It’s a scam. However, if it’s really busy, and you don’t think you’ll come back anytime in the near future…….. it can be helpful. Just tell yourself it’s a donation to the American economy.
CLEANLINESS. The park is very clean.
FIREWORK SHOW. This was our favorite.
STAY AT A DISNEY RESORT. There are some perks to this which include early entrance.

Magic Kingdom Christmas party well worth it. We got to do many rides multiple times and the snow on Main Street was magical.

Don't Waste Your Money on Mickey's Merry Christmas Party

By Sarah L |

I am an annual passholder and go often. I decided to try the X- Mas party for 200 PP. I will never go again. Dangerously crowded. Nothing big. They give you 4 cookie stations with cider from a jug or eggnog or coco.

More Christmas music is played and the parade it a holiday one. Light snow (soap bubbles) on Main Street.

Never again.

The Magic is Gone

By Clara C |

I’ve been to the Magic Kingdom many times growing up but it’s been about 15 years since my last visit.I was so excited to take my kids for the first time. Wow, the magic is gone. From the moment we got to the parking lot the lines were crazy long. My daughter enjoyed the 3 rides we were able to get to with 60-75 minute lines for each. My son was miserable and wanted to leave pretty much straight away. I was run over by a lady on a mobility scooter and we were constantly bumped with strollers, it was so crowded. When my daughter started saying this was the most miserable place on earth we left. Came back later to see the fireworks only to get yelled at by staff and corralled in a big circle. I heard so many people saying how awful the place was and grumbling about the big expense with little magic. It made me so sad because I had so many happy childhood memories at the Magic Kingdom but the magic is definitely gone.

Nice, but it has lost some of its magic

By mr_b_6805 |

Nice, but it had lost some of its magic. An old favorite and worth the visit. However, Cast Members are more likely to be chatting amongst themselves about their weekend plans or simply acting bored rather than talk to guests. Wait times were unusually short this summer.

Don't book food reservations just in case weather turns bad.

By NeoRonnie42 |

Fun experience but like other parks it can be problematic when it starts lightening and rain start. Eg: Any food/desert can't be cancelled even if there's a danger to life alert. Literally been in torrential rain with lightning near the castle and hitting the castle and refused refund due to lack of empathy from the staff despite being trapped near the place. Love the rides but some of the staff need major talking to. The music and the art/dancing is great too but if just bugs that on my birthday there were more interested in money than if I get struck by lightening.

Fun and always happy

By Mk31 |

I have been here countless times, and I still love and appreciate it each time! The staff is beyond amazing, the grounds are clean and lovely, the decorations and food are top notch, and it is a lovely experience always! I also enjoy that it is good for families, couples, friends, or solo trips!

Great but crowded

By John S |

So crowded the magic was taken away

The shops was not gifty enough and daytime parade felt small to previous experience here in the past

However have to say snow white made my son so happy she went above and beyond make his experience magical

Magical Experience

By liltony5 |

We spent two different days at Magic Kingdom during our trip to Disney World. In those two days, we were able to see and do everything we wanted to do, as well as revisit a few things we enjoyed.

As expensive as Genie+ is for the Magic Kingdom, it is very much worth it, especially with younger kids who won't enjoy waiting in long lines. Being able to skip to the front of the 30+ minute lines made our trip much more enjoyable. I would do some research of what wait times are like at different rides to get the most out of Lightning Lane. Rides like the "Under The Sea" and "It's a Small World" don't normally have long lines and move people through them quickly, making it less necessary to do LL.

Get to the fireworks show early to plot out a good spot for yourself where you can see, especially if you have small kids. People end up cramming in tight, which can make it difficult for smaller kids to be able to see. Location is critical and the good spots are gone 40+ minutes before the show starts.

First time Florida resident experience

By Noelia U |

Florida resident going for the first time… brought family along from out of the country and it was a terrible experience. We were treated like criminals or prisoners while going through security. I get having to check bags but they did not allow me to translate for my cousin whom did not speak English. Friendliest
Place on Earth? My little cousins iPad was treated like a bomb we had no idea you have to hold any electronics out in front of you in order not to get stopped. Staff was very rude in treating us during check in. Terribly regretted my experience, only got to go on the teacups ride because everything is reserved in advance so basically a waste of time and money, especially for food.

Fun for kids, doable for the park-leary parent

By Jess S |

The kids loved it. Disney gift cards the kids received as gifts could be used at quick service restaurants and shops throughout the park, and can be used to pay for parking. Plenty of places to eat, and lots of attractions with shows to watch to get inside and out of the sun. My 6 and 8 year old particularly liked the jungle cruise, haunted mansion, Pirates of the Carribbean, and Dumbo. The parade was fun for the kids, and they really enjoyed the fireworks show. The monorail from the transportation center was also a fun experience for the kids. Lots of bathrooms, and always someone cleaning the bathrooms so they were in good shape. lots of walking, but you can bring in water/snacks, and personal fans, so we wore fanny packs with water bottle holsters, and the kids were able to carry their own fan/water throughout the day without complaints.

"Wonderful park"

By Laly912 |

To visit Magic Kingdom Park, is to go back to childhood, is to meet all the characters of Disney magazines that captivated you; I am 64 years old and I enjoyed it as a child.
The park is full of attractions,
shows, parades and fireworks, which are wonderful.
Visiting the park is turning a dream into reality!!

Enchanted visit!!!!

By Elizabeth T |

As we bought the "guide" we did not face the queues and went to many attractions!!! Worth the "fura queue"!!! Some toys stopped for a few moments!!!! But the charm always involves us!!!

It's the most magical and expensive place on Earth

By psudino |

To me the Magic Kingdom is still the main event. The setting, the shows, the classic rides. It's what people think about when they think Disney. However, I can't rightly give it 5 stars because the pricing is totally out of control. Disney is a destination for everyone and to ask the average American to save a month or more of their wages to bring their family is asking a lot.

It's a very nice place, with lots of activities and a lot of movement to me personally and my family loved the place we had a lot of fun, we don't give the top rating because its staff is very rude, unfortunately to all the people who asked them something in English, since I speak perfect English they answer you with bad face upset or just ignore you, I had many questions as it was my first time, but I could manage alone
So if you could improve the Quality of Service of your staff would be great, maybe you could understand that due to the number of people you attend get to annoy, however, I think it is not a pretext, since I also dedicate myself to hospitality and never that has been a pretext. At the moment that Disney magic does not honor the attention, however, as I said, I give you a good rating, because I liked it and if you would return just arrange the attention of your staff

A dream

By Sabrina Duarte |

What a magical place! I was in a beautiful time, which is Christmas. All embellished. The characters interact, make fun. What a dream!! Worth every dollar I spent. The queues of attractions were not very large. I waited a maximum of 30 minutes. I went for the first time and I'm thinking about coming back. The park is beautiful, huge. Tired, but very worth it.

Great for adults and kids as well!

By Goom A |

I never understood there there's so much to do for adults. My kids wanted to go there for a while, so we saved up, and I enjoyed it just as much as they did. Really recommend for anyone that still wants to keep the child inside alive ;)

Best Theme Park in the World

By Michael M |

Hands down the best theme park in the world. Has great history and really set the bar high for other companies trying to compete. You really feel the magic the second you walk in and the castle is such a beautiful sight to see. The rides are a lot of fun such as Tron, Tiana’s, and some of the great classics like Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion. Great place to bring your friends and families.

It’s magical

By Natalie1204 |

I’m a Disney buff and can go back every year. The experience is truly magical although the crowds can be quite challenging in summer.
Selfie sticks aren’t allowed, so don’t carry yours. Go early and plan your day so that you can catch the shows you want and get your photos with your favourite characters, enjoy the rides etc.
It’s nothing short of magical. Everything about Disneyland and
The Magic Kingdom in particular, is just so happy. There are 4 lands - Tomorrowland, adventure lane, frontier land and of course, the favourite fantasy land. Enter and you come to Main Street USA which has souvenir shops, candy stores, ice cream, Starbucks etc. Most of the parades happen right here. The fireworks at the end of the day is at the castle. There are lots of rides - my favourite being TRON. If you don’t have the express pass, also called the lightning pass, you have to get into a virtual queue. Either get in at 7, or if you don’t succeed, try again at 1. It’s worth the effort. The ride is wow! There are lots of cafés through the park. Some restaurants too…but you need to queue up for some.
I would recommend getting a Lightning pass if you don’t wan to wait too long or if you’re alone, the single user queue should reduce your waiting time considerably.

By Mark P |

This experience was terrible, it was overcrowded and not a lot to do in magic kingdom. I expected more rides and roller coasters in the park. I don’t recommend coming to the park.

Dangerously overcrowded, expensive. Not worth the hype.

By Ben T |

Payed for a day hopper ticket so we could visit a few parks. We started in Magic Kingdom and went on the haunted mansion ride. Waiting for around 1 hour and was slightly dissapointed. Was expecting a few more jump scares but I guess its designed for Children so I can live with that. Went over to Animal Kingdom via the shuttle bus. Very easy and fairly quick transfer. Animal Kingdom was great.
Went back to Magic Kingdom as we both wanted to see the famous firework display. Dangerously overcrowded. Customers of the park were not cooperating despite the efforts of the staff. Staff were asking us to move and then getting yelled at by other visitors accusing us of cutting in or whatever. Definitely not a magical experience and definitely not worth the $500 ish dollars we spent on our two tickets for the day. There were two medical emergencies within the space of 5 minutes where we were. We were completely stuck and had no where to go or move to. There is no way there could have been a safe evacuation if needed. Really poor tickets sales and park management. Our visit day was October 15th. Overall, rides are not great, so expensive and wait times are long. More importantly dangerously overcrowded.

Not so magical

By Greg W |

Magic Kingdom was overcapacity when we went at the end of August. It was shoulder to shoulder, with long lines everywhere. We got there early but missed the first virtual queue. We managed to get the second one for Tiana's Bayou Adventure, group 121, at the end of the night. We made it halfway through the line when it broke down. We then went to Haunted Mansion, but the Carousel broke down too, followed by It's a Small World. By this time, it was 11:00 PM. We tried Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, but it also broke down. We noticed that Tiana's Bayou Adventure was running again, so we headed back with a Lightning Lane pass from earlier, but when we arrived, they wouldn’t let us in. They actually made our kids cry. It wasn’t a magical experience.

Beautiful park, but...

By Ben B |

Magic Kingdom is a beautiful park. It all looks great and the older attractions are also very well maintained. There is much to see and the facilities are excellent.
However, for a little less than $200 you can expect something and that's where the pinch is. There are actually not many attractions and super many people. And a fair proportion of them buy Lightning Lane tickets and hold up the normal queue. So sometimes you stand in line for a few hours for top attractions like Tron. Disney doing this is not unique, but it would be nice if they limited the LL passes a bit. Now you pay a lot of money for probably no more than 7 or 8 attractions, or a lot more for a few extra.
The shows and fireworks are great, but in terms of quantity, something can be done. If you come with children, it will be a bit different, but keep in mind waiting...

Great

By Nick W |

Our visit was great! We had lightning lanes which helped. We especially liked the updated Country Bear Jamboree and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The Christmas parades were good, and the fireworks were average. But there’s just something special about walking into the Magic Kingdom in the morning!

There is never an age to dream... A place to visit even once in your life

Don't miss the world's most visited park, featuring more than 50 classic and modern attractions, parades and fireworks shows, and Disney character meet-and-greets.
An ideal place for all ages, one you'll never forget, that's indisputable...

Magical

By Diego Ortiz. |

Excellent experience a real magic kingdom, tourist attractions, food, staff. Everything in general was prepared to receive us

Poorly organized!

By 437basm |

Poorly organized with a virtual row. In the morning at 11:00 you will hear that it is your turn somewhere between 21:00 and 22:00. And you can only register for one attraction so you can't even see the other one! Really bad and way too expensive!

Broken and dated

By Fearless51252579843 |

Genuinely don't waste your time on this place. I've been coming to Florida yearly since 2015 (out with the scamdemic) and this place is beyond dated and now a complete rip off. At least the illusion of the magic used to exist. It's now just a shake down. The old 3 fast past system while not perfect at least allowed you to get on some rides. The Genie plus is a complete waste of money. We arrived at park at 9 am. Managed to get Big Thunder rail road and guess what. Ride had broken down. As was space mountain (this was a common theme and happened last year as well) So when you finally do get a "fast pass" it's for 7pm at night. So you are then locked out of the booking system till then. Haunted mansion and Ariel ride broke down multiple times while on it (again this happened exactly the same this time last year so they are clearly not fixing the issues) Its now becoming apparent Disney are just preying on people's nostalgia and goodwill while offering absolutely no value for money in return. The magic Kingdom is now no better than a cheap travelling fair ground. With the level of technology at the hands of kids these days, any kid under the age of 15 won't be impressed by this place. This will be my last ever trip to MK. All the kids in our travelling party have now seen it. Honestly save your money.

Magic (apart from the cost / offerings of food / snacks)

By Geoffrey N |

This place is truly magical. It's so clean, it's so well done, the staff are superb and the rides are so much fun.
Only criticism (hence just 4*), why exploit families re dining? We spent $35 on 5 ice lollies and could not find any healthy / quick / affordable dining options.

Last Trip

By Gina L |

I've been to Disney many times but the magic is gone. The crowds are horrendous and the worst part is being corralled like cattle for the fireworks. We won't be back but we have fond memories.

Overrated

By amy2111 |

If you have kids five and under then it's perfect but for us it was just a bit too young as our daughter was 9 at the time and wanted to go on more exciting rides. I just prefer Animal Kingdom, too many pushchairs and prams here.

Magical Magic Kingdom

By Bnizzle76 |

It’s expensive, but we were there from rope drop until after the fireworks. We had so much fun doing the Disney Photo Pass with lots of characters and so many spots throughout the park. We’ve been several times this year, and today wasn’t as crowded. We enjoyed: Seven Drawfs, Little Mermaid, Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain (jerky and outdated), Country Bear Jamboree, Small World, Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion, Winnie the Pooh, Monorail, Train, and Carousel of Progress (during the rain to kill time- not worth it). I liked the old Splash Mountain with the darling animals so much better than Tiana (I found boring). By far the BEST ride was TRON! Unfortunately, it rained and the Parade was first postponed, but eventually cancelled. Corn Dogs at Sleepy Hollow by the Castle is always our favorite. Since it was raining so much we ate at Citricos in the Grand Floridian- absolutely outstanding! Luckily, we saw the fantastic fireworks before it rained again!

Too expensive

By Spikey17 |

I love magic kingdom but Disney has become so expensive. We got on about 4 rides with wait times and waited 40 mins at one ride and it broke down so we never got on. They are really making it challenging to afford to go and actually get on rides. Base price for parks is ridiculous and then you pay to park, pay more if you want to get on rides more quickly. So disappointed

Disappointing experience in Magic Kingdom - Dangerous Overflow

By Amanda V |

My visit to Magic Kingdom in Orlando on October 15, 2025 was extremely disappointing and worrying. The park was with an absurd overcrowding, far beyond normal, with endless queues for all attractions, restaurants and even bathrooms. The number of people was so large that it was difficult to even walk through the park areas.

I bought the Lightning Lane Service (formerly FastPass) to optimize my experience and avoid long queues. However, there were previously scheduled attractions that were broken when the scheduled time arrived and no exchange option due to overcrowding. One example: we couldn’t go to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which was scheduled and paid the fasttpass, leaving my 8-year-old daughter super disappointed.

The worst moment was during the fireworks show. Due to the extreme overcrowding, we were directed by the park staff to pass through the technical areas (backstage) - those areas that are usually hidden from visitors. The staff were rude and abrupt, telling us to leave quickly. I understand that it may have been an emergency security measure, but this is completely unacceptable and totally destroys the magical experience for which we have paid very high values.

Conditions were very unsafe, with real risk of riots and serious accidents in the most congestioned areas. The atmosphere was stressful and chaotic, the complete opposite of the magical experience Disney promises.

I paid high for Lightning Lane that I couldn’t use properly, faced broken attractions, dangerous overcrowding and rough Team Processing. It was a terrible experience that I do not recommend to anyone. Disney urgently needs to revise its park capacity and attraction maintenance policy.

I do not recommend visiting the Magic Kingdom in October. I believe the Halloween parties have made the organization much worse at this time of year. And I suggest that until Disney solves these serious problems of capacity management and security do not make visits at this time.

Going to Disney since 1971

By Companion825522 |

Underwhelmed. Florida resident and we do Disney at least once a year. Most disappointing this trip, at Thanksgiving. Hotels (Wyndham not advertising restaurants will be closed or early). Parks extremely crowded. Way to many motorized scooters and large strollers. Lines for rides over an hour. Shops smelled musty as if MOLD. Park needs an overhaul. Decorations are beautiful but this is Nothing like it was in the past and be prepared to break your bank. Not sure when/if we are returning.

Magic

By Marcelo A |

Magical for everyone who grew up with Disney movies, the final show excites. It is infallible for the first time you go to Orlando, the bad thing we could not get into the game of tron (4 hours closed) when open had more than 130 minutes delay being 21 hours and the virtual line does not work properly.

Good park. Expensive and busy but queues were well-managed

By BigMerk |

We visited the park as a family of 9 including 3 kids under 10 years of age. We were staying at a nearby (non-Disney) hotel and arrived not long after the park opened. It was clearly very busy but I think they managed the crowds pretty well. It certainly felt like we were not standing in queues for rides too long.. The app - showing wait times - is most helpful. I am not a fan of the Lighting Lanes - we have all paid a significant amount to be here and then are treated as second class citizens. My granddaughter loved the spontaneous meet and greet with Disney characters and of course the Disney Parade. An enjoyable day all round.

Be Prepared for Everything

By doctorfoxtrot |

Tedious stretch spending a day in this park . Be prepared for any eventuality. As in for everything. The walk going back and forth to the park. The heat coming in varying scenarios. Broken amusement rides . Scampering for tables inside the restaurant. Buying those merchandise souvenirs for your collection. Wanting to maximize everything go for the VIP or lightning pass . Photo ops abound but need to fall in line for everything. Personal highlights for me are the fireworks , the delicious hotdogs and of course , the Disney parade .

By gemm1983mcm |

Since I was small I've wanted to visit Florida and we finally made the trip with our daughters who are 9 and 10. The magic kingdom is just that - magic everyone embraces the fun and magic and Disney do what Disney do best and make everyone feel special it's a must visit

Always a must do, but avoid holiday crowds

By Paradise Lost |

I have been here at least 6 times, and my 2025 visit was the worst. Never been more packed, treated poorly by many cast members, and rides broke down constantly. Yet there is still something special every time, and the night parade was beautiful. It's always a must do if possible, but it can of course have issues

Watch the Fireworks Show from Frontierland

By PackUpNGoNow |

The Happily Ever After fireworks show is an incredible show. Unfortunately, the crowds in and around Cinderella's Castle and Main Street can make this a stressful end to a long hot day. Being squashed among people who are blocking your view after staking out a spot can also be frustrating.

The first time we saw the fireworks show, we staked out a great spot for over two hours but it was not fun losing so much park time. It was a wonderful Disney experience being close enough to the castle to see the projected animation on the castle with the surrounding fireworks. Would we do it again - probably not.

So for our second time watching the fireworks show, we decided to take the advice of a Disney blogger who recommends watching the fireworks in Frontierland. Shortly before the show, Frontierland was deserted except for maybe four or five groups also waiting to see the fireworks. We stood alone on the long dock that runs the length of Frontierland (behind us was Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Café).

With the fireworks narration and music piped in throughout the entire area, we watched what felt like a private fireworks show :o)

IGNORE THIS REVIEW if you want to see Cinderella's Castle with the fireworks in the background. From Frontierland, you will only see the side of the castle that is far from Frontierland and you will not see any of the projections on the castle.

RIDE TIP: after the fireworks show, we suspect that many people rushing past us were going to Tiana's Bayou Adventure that had a 10 minute wait time during the fireworks show.

LEAVING THE PARK AFTER THE FIREWORKS: Even though we did not leave Magic Kingdom for another hour after the fireworks show ended, it was still a crowded chaotic mess leaving Magic Kingdom. There were long lines to board both the Monorail and the ferry. It took us almost 1 hour to get to our car via the ferry and the tram :o(

The place of magic, for those who have always seen Disney movies worth going, is really the place where magic happens. If you're in orlando it's worth it to come

Receiving 2025

By lucianacordoba |

The place where magic happens. Even though there were a lot of people to be on New Year's Eve, we knew how to enjoy it. The closing show with the new year count was spectacular! Yes, there were many hours in the lines of the rides, but with patience we could do many things. The Christmas decoration, the parade was beautiful. We spent a unique new year!

Money, money, money Magical Kingdom

By Bnizzle76 |

We visited Magic Kingdom SEP 3 (day after Labor Day), and had a great time- but the cost is out of control! Tickets were $134 per person + $20 per person for 3 Lightning Lane Rides, parking $30, and lunch for 2 at Be Our Guest $140…We visited in SEP because it’s suppose to be less crowded- and I guess it was? For Lightning Lane rides we chose: Haunted Mansion, Pirates of Caribbean, and Space Mountain. You enter a virtual online queue @ 7:00am and 1:00pm for Tron (amazing new rollercoaster) and Tiana’s Bayou (was better as Splash Mountain). We were lucky to get both. We spent 13 hrs there and did 12 rides, and several character meets- these lines were slow. We stayed for the fireworks which were spectacular! Even though we had a fun time, the price is waaaay too much.

Great park for younger kids

By darren h |

Beautiful iconic park with lots of rides. We went in may and it was very hot, 30-35 degrees every day so I would avoid the summer months as its exhausting walking around in that heat and kids will soon get tired and want to go back to the pool.
Alot of the rides are aimed at young kids and families so are mainly rides going around looking at stuff which is ok for the first time but you wouldn't ride them again so on the second visit theres only a few rides worth doing again ie. tron, seven dwarfs, etc.
We didnt bother with lighting lanes but had to face 60min que for tron and seven dwarfs. Everything else was pretty quick around 20mins.

John at magic kingdom is amazing. Thank you

Best place in the world! Where we dream and become a child again. The kids loved and it was their first time. You can't miss the closing show. I love the Disney energy. Everything works, organization. Wonderful! I've been several times and I'll come back whenever I can

Great Disappointment: throughout the day we did not meet any Disney mascots; Mickey, Mini, Donald...

By Odyssey18078406684 |

Many people, but good services from the staff. You really need to have planned our visit because the site is huge.

Great time off season!

By Lili |

That’s a classic when it comes to “Disneyworld experience”. This theme park is perfect for little children. The vast majority of the attractions are designed for the little ones. Everything is beautiful and organized. I’ve been there at least 10 times in my life and I have enjoyed every time.

End of an era 😢

By Nicola M |

Unfortunately, the magic that was present years ago is no longer there, everything has given way to business.
Too bad, disappointment is so much, I was a fan.
It's not just about money, you know it costs money, the problem is that children are no longer put first, there are no exceptions, you don't look anyone in the face.
Avoid it, stay with the memories of yesteryear

Magic Kingdom….far from Magic.

By Mark |

Disney’s Magic Kingdom has lost its Magic. We spent $850 for one day visit and fast pass access. We then spent $30 for parking, about $150 on food, and $250 in the gift shops.

No issue with any of the above but the key issue for me is that Disney should make sure their rides work and software work. Tiana’s Bayou, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Mickey’s Philharmagic were all out and never got to experience these. The virtual queue for Tron was never available to book and the fast pass app was not working at times during the day.

You get nothing but smiles and apologies from the guest experience team. Walt Disney needs to put its hand in its pocket if it cannot provide the services it advertises and that you’ve paid for. I cannot believe Americans put up this. I was left feeling robbed.

I will never return.

Worst day out.. avoid!

By CH7 |

Terrible! Endless queues even before you get anywhere near the park. Waited ages for the monorail in the searing heat. Once inside Magic Kingdom you’re faced with so many people, many with strollers that we wondered how they would possibly manage if there were to be an urgent evacuation in an emergency. They let far too many people in at one time, this surely must go against health and safety standards. We were pushed and jostled constantly. We queued for an hour on Pirates of the Caribbean which, having sampled the ride, was a complete waste of time. This was the one and only ride we were able to do as all the others were anything from an hour to 90 minutes waiting time.. absolutely ridiculous. We managed, after queuing yet again, to get ourselves a plastic looking hot dog with fries and a coke so packed with ice it was like drinking water. We were fortunate enough to find a table but the noise in the place was horrendous, screaming kids everywhere and this was then further enhanced by a guy outside serenading us all very loudly with his Liberace like piano skills! It took all my strength not to go out and personally close the piano lid. We then ventured off to find Thunder Mountain which was of course closed for refurbishment again! When is this ride ever functioning properly? We had had enough after this, so, having spent under just £300 for our Magical day out, we left, absolutely disgusted. We will not be returning to this overpacked, overpriced, overrated park ever again.

Classic Disney, amazing fireworks

By Mandy M |

Classic Disney. Some great rides, like space mountain, thunder mountain, shooting stuff on buzz lightyear, riding the carousel, class it’s a small world. character parades, awesome fireworks. It’s a must do park.

Not very magical anymore

By Sammiejo5 |

The worst park we visited, after our 6th trip here as a family, magical kingdom has massively gone downhill. They over fill the park, you can barely move, every ride broke down, the new queue system for tiana split our whole family up and effectively ruined the day as we had to spend it separated. This system does not work due to different times given on the app for each person. The staff have lost their Disney cheer too, no one seems happy to be there. Extremely disappointed, magical kingdom has certainly lost its magic.

Simply magical

By My Magic moment |

Magic Kingdom is the most magical of Walt Disney World parks. It is also the largest, the one where the castle, parade and Disney classics are located.

I especially enjoyed the haunted house, jungle cruise , peter pan, tron, big thunder mountain , pirate of the caribbean , parade, atmosphere, Happily Ever After.

Even if we already have a similar park in Paris, this one is completely different from ours in terms of attractions and atmosphere. Don't miss it!

Disappointing, back in time and expensive

By Francisco |

First thing, disappointing. With my wife and father we plan to visit two parks on two separate days. The first was this one, Magic Kingdom, but upon arriving at the ticket store to redeem our tickets from the app, we are informed that the park would close at 7:00 pm for a private event in the park after that time. My wife, who had come before and could not see the fireworks, this time came to that, but this happens. The park, having an application where it could notify attendees to be able to relearn, does not and unilaterally shortens the visit and eliminates the possibility of enjoying that show. In addition, we had already purchased the Lightning Lane service that must be done the same day specifying the park. They offered to change the day to visit Animal Kingdom first and then go to Magic Kingdom, but we were already there and that meant getting back in the car and changing parks, as well as seeing on our own how to fix the Lightning Lane service.

As far as attractions are concerned, there are few worthwhile and the work of animatronics could be done rather better. To top it off, we waited all day so we could go to Tron, but the attraction failed at about 5:00 p.m. without being operational again at closing.

When it comes to prices, everything is very expensive. Everything costs from $30.

It shows how they are only interested in billing and not so much customer satisfaction. I'm not coming back.

Downhill. Don’t bother

By CarolineD |

I first went to MVMCP in 2018 and it was wonderful. Not TOO crowded and plenty of cookie stops. I had a brilliant time.

I booked it twice for my most recent trip and hated it. The first time, half the park was closed off during the transition from day guests to party guests and we ended up stuck in a certain area. They closed all the quick service restaurants during that transition period, forcing us to eat during precious party time. It wasn’t clear where anything was, and I felt like there were far fewer cookie stops than before. It was also way too crowded.

Second night I changed tactics and instead of getting on rides we prioritised the shows, fireworks and the parade. This worked much better but the crowds were terrible. We had to queue for a good hour to even get in and we were stressed and frustrated. We got an early spot for the parade and found it deeply frustrating that a woman with a baby kept on walking down the middle of the road in front of us even though she knew she wasn’t meant to, and every time the cast members told her to get back behind the rope she came and stood directly in front of us, forcing us to either allow her in front of us under the rope or tell her to sod off as we had queued for ages too. The cast members were mostly disinterested even though they saw what she was doing.

I loved the parade and the fireworks. Still gave me the Disney feels. But far too many people were in attendance and it wasn’t well organised. Very much downhill compared to 2018.

I am a regular Disney parks traveler and I will not be booking the Christmas party again.

Underwhelming & Unclean

By Mopsie95 |

My 3rd visit to the Magic Kingdom, 1991, 2014 & 2024…so dissatisfied with the state of the theme park, toilets filthy, rides dated, queues ridiculous…food expensive. $6 for an ice lolly!!!

Suggest paying them a visit & see what you’re doing wrong!!

A scam

By FRANCISCO C |

Oversold park, impossible to walk, let alone climb an Attraction. Each of them there are waits of at least 95 minutes and when you can finally get on, they will not say more than 90 seconds. Children bored by waiting, the waiting time indicated by the park is not the real thing, in a real SCAM for the tourist Recommendation NOT GONNA waste time and money

Disney is out of magic

By Angel A |

After 10 years since my only and last visit to a Disney park, the Disneyland of California, and with a tremendous illusion given to the good memory I had of my previous trip to Disney I tell you my opinion of Magic Kingdom: Disappointing

We went in the off-season, however I have to say that I have not seen so many people in a theme park ever. The lines of the crowded attractions, although in this aspect I have to say that the Disney operations are very good and despite the lines everything flows fast and I was able to ride in several attractions and even repeat in Space Mountain.
The theme of the setting is the one that disappointed me the most, it is impossible to take pictures without hundreds of people appearing in them, it is impossible to walk in the park without anyone crossing or disturbing you, it is impossible to listen to the Mood music of the park or attractions... it is so full of people that you miss the charm.
The attractions... well, they're old and emotionless... the only one worthwhile is Tron and this crowded crowd. Pirates of the Caribbean or It’s a small World are not possible to continue to be attractions, they are attractions from another era and we already know that they are classics but Disney must consider changing them for new ones like Universal Studios.
Another very negative point is that I didn't see a single character walking in the park... I remember at Disneyland I saw quite a few, even Donald and Goofy but in this nothing.
My impression is that Disney has increased the daily capacity of the park to make more money and compensate for the losses it has with the very mediocre films it makes lately, but of course, this has consequences, and they are the loss of quality and magic of its parks. I certainly won’t go again under these conditions, as there are more interesting and cheaper alternatives in Florida... Disney lives by its past and with these kinds of decisions is dynamiting its future.
It was the park that disappointed me the most on my Orlando vacation

Not a Top 20 theme park

By lia |

Sorry, it's just not magical anymore. The passes you have to have to get to access the rides have to be planned out in advance which is negative. I liked the days of being carefree and using fastpass. I hate having to plan everything out such as ride times and meals. The food options in the park are limited and very similar. The prices have gone up faster than inflation and border on unaffordable. The crowds are ridiculous considering you still have to make a reservation. The upkeep on the park is not good. Not impressed with their crabby cast members either. No one ever owns an issue either and an answer varies from employee to employee. Definitely not a top 20 theme park when you take all those items into consideration. I want to visit places where they care about me. If I have an issue, I don't want to wait two hours of time, which I paid for, in a stupid line for it to be corrected or not.

Not the happiest place anymore

By RMS |

Disney isn’t what it used to be. The parks are overcrowded, the lines go on forever, the employees look like they’re silently questioning life choices, and the characters are basically in hiding. The magic? It must be on vacation.

Magician

By Bd |

Come early at the park opening. If you are a Disney guest, take advantage of Early Entry. You can do the area of the Fantasyland or Tomorrowland before the park officially opens. If you are not a Disney guest, consider 40 minutes from the time you arrive at the parking lot until you actually enter the park. Arriving early will make a total difference in your day. The later the more crowded the park gets and the greater the queues. So come early to enjoy the park with smaller queues, especially if you go with children. Do the most crowded attractions in the morning once you get to the park. In the afternoon everything becomes very crowded and you can do the other attractions more peacefully. Book at least one restaurant for quiet lunch. That makes a lot of difference on a park day with kids. It's a break for them and for the adults.

Long live MagicLand!

By guglielmo b |

We stayed with the kids in this place, really magical. I recommend booking early by getting VIP pass tickets so you don't run into long lines metrics. Excellent service also of the restaurant that there is for lunch.

By Joyce U |

What a fairytale!
I felt like a little kid there, had such a good time.
We had bought a combi ticket online via a website incl fastpass with a big discount, that is advisable. We were able to skip incredibly long lines of up to 2 hours waiting time:)

Real expensive, nothing has changed in decades and rides are shortened, no characters anywhere in the park, food was not worth the price, sad to see the kids did not like it.

Massively in need of a serious refresh...

By Edward H |

Man....Magic Kingdom is looking tired and dated these days. Don't get me wrong, the magic and charm of the park is still there and Tiana's Bayou Adventure and Tron are great additions to the park, but the attractions beyond that are desperately dated. Let's work around (the significant atrtactions at the park clockwise from the entrance)....

❌ Swiss Family Treehouse | Waste of space - who is it even for at this point?
❌ Enchanted Tiki Rooms | Also a waste of time and space. The attempted refurbishments (13 years ago!) haven't improved it to a decent enough standard.
✔️Pirates of the Caribbean | The addition of Captain Jack animatronics updated this nicely, it's charming and it's a modern and iconic enough movie to keep interest.
🤷 Jungle Cruise | Was closed for refurbishment, but given it was such a badly failed franchise, it seems a bit pointless to focus here. The tour guides were always what made it anyway.
✔️ Tiana's Bayou Adventure | Huge improvement on the original. Extra drops, great animatronics, although I thought the "story" element was a bit weak. The whole "virtual queue" thing is an absolute mess and ruined it for us. First time, we got called late in the evening, second time, when we had just sat down for a dinner we'd booked three months prior.
❌ Tom Sawyer Island | A walk around a deserted, run-down island in blistering heat? No thanks. Again, who is this even for at this point?
✔️ WDW Railroad | Controversially I'm going to give this a thumbs up on account of it being somewhere to sit down and relax and a good way of getting from one side of the park to the other.
✔️ Big Thunder Mountain Railroad | It's a thumbs up, but with a big caveat...do we really need this AND the Seven Dwarves Minetrain? I'd assume that was put in with a view to removing this for something new in the not too distant future. But as a standalone attraction, it's decent enough fun.
❌ Haunted Mansion | I know it's beloved and nostalgic...but it's just not very fun or interesting. We had three generations of our family from 9 to 71...and none of us found it more than an unnecessarily long queue (60+ minutes) for little "fun".
🤐 Small World | I mean...it is what it is. I'll always go on it, but it's just a nostalgia novelty ride at this point.
❌ Peter Pan's Flight | Always has horrendous queues of 60+ minutes, is short, dated, looks like it needs so love and only really satisfies the very youngest of children, none of whom it's hugely relevant to in 2024.
✔️ Mickey's Philharmonic | Remains surprisingly fun. And sitting down in aircon is always a bonus.
❌ Winnie The Pooh | Not fun, not interesting, not current, not interesting. So much flat imagery and goes too quick to read any of the text.
❌ The Little Mermaid | Much like the above. For very little kids, I guess.
✔️ Seven Dwarves Mine Train | Fantastic addition. Fast, smooth, fun!
❌ Tomorrowland Speedway | Takes up a huge amount of space, isn't very Disney whatsoever, isn't remotely fun and half the cars don't actually steer properly anymore.
✔️ Tron | Good addition if a little less exciting than some of Orlando's other new rollercoasters.
❌ Space Mountain | Has had it's time and needs to go. Our 9-year-old came off and just said "well that was boring" on what is supposed to be a thrill ride. Nothing to see, nothing really unique about it, no story or interactive type elements to it. Would be very surprised if it's still there next time we go back.
❌ Carousel of Progress | So I get it's an institution, but the animatronics etc are just hugely outdated. When you consider the quality of other animatronics across Disney, this either deserves that kind of upgrade, or it needs to go.
❌ Buzz Lightyear Spaceranger Spin | Our carriage got stuck and kept veering left, then we got frozen for a solid minute. I'd hit the max 999,999 by the time we left the first room, so could only then sit and watch for the remainder. It's now VERY dated and not that fun, similar to Men In Black at Universal. Needs a major overhaul in terms of technology, albeit the premise is fun.
🤷 Astro Orbiter | Fine for what it is and a good centrepiece for that area. My only comment is I don't really get who it's for. At it's heart, it's the same as the Magic Carpets in Adventureland, but then they stuck it SUPER high up in the air, making it potentially too scary for really young kids, but nowhere near scary enough for those that are older. Felt like a bit of an identity crisis. I feel kinda "meh" on it.

Loads of people raved about Jungle Navigation Co for dinner. It ended up our second priciest meal of the holiday and was probably the worst meal we had of the holiday. Pricey, uninspiring food that none of our party particularly enjoyed, with an $18 cocktail that was little more than a mouthful and mediocre service. We also did Be Our Guest which was INCREDIBLY expensive, but the food was in my top 3, with a beautiful fillet mignon main. The kids meal, at $40, was easily the worst food we were served during our entire stay. They bought us the wrong thing to begin with, and even when they bought the right one, it was actually worse. The kids dessert however clawed back some good will! It's pretty disappointing they no longer do the PhotoPass pictures with the Beast anymore...that was a huge letdown. I also used to like it when they walked you to your table with a lit up Lumière. Those two things help justify the expense and experience. Now...it's really just a nice meal in a posh dining hall.

Fireworks are incredible, but the carnage that follows is.........testing, especially at the end of a long day. The whole monorail/boat thing is a mess and really spoils the start and end to the day.

Did we enjoy it at the park overall? Yeah, I guess so, but it was mostly a nostalgic jaunt down memory lane for us. Like that band you liked as a kid, going through their back catalogue of dated pop hits. With the incoming Epic Universe, Magic Kingdom is in real danger of falling behind with a major overhaul.

Had an amazing time, the parades are my favorite part of MNSSHP. Some of the rides are themed for Halloween. Highly reccommend the Parties

Dirty park that’s lost its magic

By Sallyw1985 |

I have such fond memories of this park and unfortunately it just doesn’t live up to it anymore! It’s so tired and frankly really dirty!
Having come from universal where everything was spotless it’s such a stark contrast - the toilets are disgusting and in the lens by 8.30pm that was actually a poo in one of the sinks. There was urine all over the women’s floors and they stunk by 3pm
Lack of staff across the park really showed. The queueing was so hot with little cover and where there was fans most weren’t working or switched on.
Really felt like a waste of money to be honest and any ‘magic’ was overshadowed by disgusting facilities

Ok but nothing special

By Bjarnewojo |

Walt Disney World is of course a must visit
But I was not overwhelmed, yet glad I have experienced it
We were there for 3-4 hours which was fine as we did not have to try skating

My Disney experience

By Myron K |

Check-in is VERY terrible for groups. Not worth the hassle to go to Disney. Once checked in it is a pretty park tho. Expect long waiting lines for rides

The happiest place in the world and most expensive!!

By Paul B |

A truly magic experience. Arrived via shuttle from Hollywood Park in time to see 2pm Parade which was special. Draw dropping Castle, good rides and places to visit. A bit out dated in some areas and food areas difficult to navigate as always crowded. Managed to get on new water ride (old splash mountain) which is beautiful and fresh. The train around is a must as are the spectacular fireworks at 8:30. Settle in early to get a good spot.

Still has the magic but some issues apparent.

By Jonesy1974 |

MK is without a doubt the busiest craziest park of the lot. Not helped by the hundreds of strollers and scooters (you spend literally all day dodging them). There are some fantastic rides like Mine train & Thunder mountain. Didn’t ride TRON, but husband said it was ok but very uncomfortable and painful on the neck. Why build a ride that is this uncomfortable?
Early hours is pointless. Spent longer in the queue for mine train in early hours than later in the day. Too many people do early hours so it’s not beneficial, unless you are absolutely the first in line. Also alot of queue jumping with guests holding spaces for family then they push in. This shouldn’t be allowed, it’s frustrating and makes the queue time even longer. Imagine if everyone did this!
Some of the toilets were pretty dire have to say. Lack of cleaners evident. Unlike in Universal, where they were spotless.
Still love MK, but it’s crazy overcrowded and lines too big for a very short ride. Miss the old free fast pass system. Looking forward to seeing the new changes and hope they make other improvements too.

An Average day out..

By PIngu72 |

We visited in December, just before Christmas and whilst there is no doubt Disney is a talented organisation, the rides are very impressive, I'm certain that the number of people in the parks is getting more and more. The queues are ridiculous for the money you pay, with some being a little dated now. Travelling from the UK for the Florida parks is not cheap, so expect something special rather than something average, all in all, we enjoyed our time here, probably won come back for at least another 5 + years, apart from anything because of the absolutely appalling food. Never mind the price, its what they serve, there is no quality, less you like grease running from your food, for example, how can they charge $10 for 2 spring rolls, filled with cheeseburger... Honestly, it was possibly the most vile thing I have ever seen, never mind tasted! Come on Disney, come on America, sort your food out, its worse than really bad.

Bucket list trip!! 2 days for travel. 7 Orlando parks in 5 days with 13 family members!! Whirlwind hectic, but great

Disney… what else would you expect

By Dean F |

Love this place. 4th visit now and although some of the magic has gone as I’ve gotten older. You can’t resist smiling and getting excited every time you visit.

By NorthOntNl |

Had a great day at Magic Kingdom. It was busy but the crowds were handled really well. Lightning Lane was worth it, especially with little kids. Only suggestion would be for Disney to add an endless drink option like Universal has. We will definitely be back

Used to be a lot better.

By Richard A |

Overpriced overrated. Used to be special, now just a hot mess full of mostly disinterested staff and entitled guests. TRON and Tiarna are good new editions. The classics are now old hat and dull.

Love this park so much!

By Harriet |

I love this park so much! It embodies the whole Disney experience and I can’t help but smile as soon as I step through the gates and see the beautiful castle! There is so much to do at this park- the rides and attractions are awesome, the parades are amazing, the different characters to meet are so friendly and all the food and sweet treats are tasty! Each time I visit, there are more vegetarian options than the previous time so this is great news for visiting veggies!

I always start my Disney trips off by visiting this park first and it always sets my trip up fantastically! You should also come back in the evening to watch the fireworks show and try and get on some late night rides! We were in the park from 11pm-1am one night and it felt so special to be there so late!

Beautiful park but hardly update its attractions

By Karin |

It will always be a fairy tale to visit this park, for the castle, parades and all those characters of our childhood and especially for the night show, however, if it were only for the attractions, I would not return, since most are not updated, they remain the same as when I went years ago. In the application you can see the waiting times, hours of shows, it is very useful to efficient time, I recommend planning before going, to make the attractions of most interest first and especially arrive before the opening of the park. Snacks, snacks and drinks can be brought.

A magical place

By Cold and Quiet Fan |

Another fantastic experience in Magic Kingdom. Every interaction with the staff is amazing, with them being focused on delivering an exellent experience for the guests. Lots to do, even for people who are not a fan of rides. Only downside is, in July it was very hot and not a lot of areas to get shade and cool down

great visits

Called into the Magic Kingdom Park a couple of times during our stay in Orlando. There is plenty to do and see with character photo opportunities

Great days out, enjoyed oursleves

The magic of turning adults into children!

By Ronaldo Martins |

The famous and dear MK is with novelty compared to our last visit (2017), but the most flagrant is the show, which used to be closing, but now happens at 20, with the park closing at 23. The show was also improved, keeping its main line. In the former Splash Mountain, the same toy is now running, but refined, to meet the characteristics of the movie The Princess and the Swan. The pines exchange points have multiplied and are present in almost every store within the MK. The park does the magic of turning adults into children, and children into buyers.

Magical Kingdom

By Brennag |

This was our first time in Orlando, and no visit to Orlando is complete without a trip to Magic Kingdom.

There is something very magical about walking up Main Street towards that iconic castle; it evokes a childlike energy that is hard to explain. The park was not too busy, and we were ushered right towards Tomorrowland (which I didn't know was the only part of the park open for early entry).

We rode Tron as our very first ride, which ran early (rare but appreciated treat). Tron was incredible, I'm a huge fan of the films and the Daft Punk soundtrack, and that burst of acceleration at the start was something else! I love the unique seating position for this ride; it really feels like you're on a motorbike zooming around the grid.

We then rocketed onto Space Mountain, which was a bit clunky and a bit meh, but hey, we've done it now!

We went to Sleepy Hollow for breakfast treats and ordered funnel cakes and waffles. The funnel cakes on offer were not as good as Epic Eats in Hollywood, in my opinion, and we were constantly harassed by a greedy little squirrel.

We made our way to Jungle Cruise next, and our guide was hilarious. If you've never done this ride before, the jokes come hard and fast, and their knowledge of the surrounding landscapes and animals was just amazing!

We decided on a whim to do the Tiki Room, which, on reflection, is just taking up valuable space. I was not a fan, but it may be that this show is aimed at a very young audience, which I am not. The animatronics can be heard whirring and creaking, and it was a little embarrassing when compared to some of the more modern rides.

We headed off to Pirates of the Caribbean, and although atmospheric, the ride is looking a little dated; maybe it's time to update the animatronics. Whilst on the ride, my little girl had a little accident and I had to rush to the shops to get some replacement clothes. The Disney staff were amazing at sourcing the right clothes in the right size for me and furnished me with the selected clothes and a Minnie plushy, and the House of Mouse footed the bill for me. This was service above and beyond anywhere I have ever been to, and I was just gobsmacked at how well the staff treated my daughter and I.

We headed to the Haunted Mansion before lunch, a fun little experience, nothing special (other than the room transition with the pictures in), worth a visit to get out of the blazing Florida heat.

We ate lunch at Pinocchio's Village, at a table with a view of It's a Small World. The setting was fine, the food was good, and the air conditioning was well appreciated. Something Disney does really well is provide cover and cooling areas for when it gets very hot outside.

The whole family were dragged onto It's a Small World, and that song will now be in your head for the rest of the afternoon, you're welcome!

We grabbed some Mickey Ice cream treats. I had the Mickey ice cream sandwich, which was ok, kind of a soft chocolate biscuit ice cream sandwich, nothing outstanding. The kids tried the Mickey Ice creams and frozen banana, again, nothing special but welcome cooling treats.

Next, we boarded the Barnstormer, which is a kids' coaster and was a little bit cramped for my long legs, but perfectly passable.

We thought we would take a pop at Monsters Inc Laugh floor (which we didn't know anything about but was a short queue, so we thought, why not). The format is an interactive animated standup (Similar to Epcot's Turtle Talk with Crush) with Mike W and his monster friends being the stars of the show. We all had a great time here; the improv comedy was spot on, and I loved the magic of having cartoon characters interact with the audience.

We perused the shops, of which there are many, and there are so many quality items that we wanted to buy, from T-shirts to pins (something I am now fully on board with). There are a lot of great shops on the Disney estate, but the Emporium is truly the best and biggest. It is HUGE!

We also visited the PhotoPass place in Curtain Call Collectables, as we had a couple of photos missing from our collection. This process was pretty straightforward, provide the operator with a ride name, approximate time, and then look through the thumbnails to add the photos to the photopass.

We took the Monorail to Epcot as a bit of a fun adventure, but when we arrived at Epcot we discovered we could not take a bus to the Caribbean Beach Resort; we had to transfer at Hollywood to get back to our resort. Alternatively, we had to take the Skyliner. We decided to take the Skyliner, but unfortunately, the Skyliner is at the exact opposite side of the park, which is quite a walk.

We had a quick light bite and headed back to MK at about 20:00 as we had a Dessert and Fireworks party to attend in the evening.

When we returned, we did the Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger ride and I got bested by both my boys at the shoot lasers at target adventure.

We watched the Carousel of Progress, which was charming, and shows how life has changed over the years and how convenient our lives are nowadays.

We pre-booked the Fireworks and Dessert party, so a little time before we headed over to the reserved standing area to witness the legendary fireworks show. The Fireworks started at 22:00, and went on for quite a long time, it was fantastic to watch and listen to. They really spare no expense when it comes to the main show! Tinkerbell flying from the castle was a lovely touch too. After the show we headed over to the Dessert party at about 22:30. Although the selection of desserts was lovely and we certainly had our fill, it is probably not worth the money unless you are spending a couple of hours there gorging on puddings (which we just couldn't do).

On a later day, we returned and rope-dropped Tiana's Bayou, which was a pleasantly long ride with a lot of cool visuals and a big drop at the end.

We also did Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, which was a surprisingly short ride, and had some cool little easter eggs hidden along the queue (spinning barrels).

on the Mad Hatter's T-Cups, my eldest did his best to try and make me vomit, but thankfully did not succeed.

We visited Gastons for breakfast, it's a great little pub setting, nice food, though a somewhat limited selection (by limited I mean a selection of only 4 items). The wife and I tried the Crème Brûlée Croissant and Warm Cinnamon Roll. Controversially, I preferred the croissant. I tried a Cinnabon earlier in the week and have yet to find any cinnamon-style roll that comes close.

We headed over to the Sword in the Stone to try our luck. My wife was the chosen one and managed to pull the sword, the look on her face when it moved was magical!

What I didn't realise about Cinderalla's castle in the US is that you cannot walk through / under it unless you have a reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table (Maybe next time). Disneyland Paris allows you to pass under and around the castle. Near the castle, we had a fun little interaction with the "ugly sisters", who were hilarious.

The last meal we had at MK was hotdogs at Caseys on the Corner. I fully recommend finding somewhere to sit to eat the footlong loaded hotdogs, they are massive and take quite a lot of skill to eat without dropping them all over the place.

All in all, I enjoyed Magic Kingdom, but not as much as Hollywood Studios, probably because of the IPs at that park. It is still absolutely worth a visit and I will definitely return. It would be nice to see Disney update some of the more older rides and give them a bit more polish, but the park is magical regardless.

Disrespectful staff

By Helen S |

We have visited Disneyland Paris seven times as a family, and we have always had a positive experience. After my veteran husband passed away, we wanted to make some positive memories so we visited Disney World, Orlando two weeks ago and we were very dissapointed. We waited for over two hours to get on a ride and just as we got there a member of staff asked us for our tickets, I produced my phone to show her the tickets and she stated we were in the park illegally and would call security and have us removed forcefully or we could leave peacefully with our dignity. We left feeling humiliated and bitterly disappointed with negative memories.

Garbage. Save yourself. Don’t go. Ever.

By Glove |

Find something else to do. Literally anything else would be more fun. It’s so over priced. There are thousands of ppl everywhere. It’s all a bunch of fake animatronic crap. The food is horrid. The restaurants are VERY OVERPRICED. We paid $214 for food for two ppl that made us sick bf we could even leave the park. The entree was good but the appetizers suck. They charged gratuity bc we had a group of 6…it was 5 and an infant. She added 0 extra work for the server as a baby sitting there cooing at her mother and drinking her bottle. The lightning lane thing is trash. The only thing to be said abt parking is that it is nothing more than robbery. They make so much money. They do not hv any good reason to charge ppl to park. Best I can say is they hv clean bathrooms. Go anywhere else in the world bc this place is not worth it. Least magical place on earth.

Magic Kingdom is my happy place

By BeenTo7Continents |

Pure Disney magic and add the warmth of the holiday. Lots of Christmas trees and wreaths everywhere. I enjoyed the Santa Surf Shack Float at Aloha Isle--one the crowds died down after the first evening parade.

By pam |

New Genie process is exhausting and confusing. Have to get up at midnight to buy it and then at 7 am to see if you can get on the ride you want. End up running from one side of the park and back to get on your preferred ride at designated time. “Linking” groups was not always successful. Had to have daughter provide a one hour education session to really understand the “genie” process. There must be an easier, and less expensive, way to do this.

Best day ever

All the stars — pure Disney magic with a Halloween twist! 🎃✨

By Traveling By Teresa |

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is truly one of the most magical experiences at Walt Disney World! It’s everything you love about Disney mixed with the fun and wonder of Halloween. From the moment you walk in, the park feels extra special — the decorations, the music, and the costumes all add to the magic.

We had an amazing family night! The parades were incredible, the fireworks were breathtaking, and the character meet-and-greets were so much fun. Everyone — kids, teens, and adults — will find something to love.

It’s such a unique way to experience Magic Kingdom after dark, and Disney really goes all out. Between the trick-or-treating, entertainment, and atmosphere, it’s worth every penny. We can’t wait to go back again — this one is a must-do for any Disney fan! 🎃💫🐭

Average

By Jade |

Magic Kingdom we found was just majorly overcrowded- small pathways & very pricey. Didn’t really get the “‘magic feelings vibes” was more stressful due to having to get the boat over there with the prams!

By jade624 |

As the previous reviewer said, if you are a pass holder (we have been 10+ years) and already have free access to the fireworks shows and the MK parades, this event is not worth the cost at all. We paid over $200 each, the only “benefits” from this “party” is free cookies and small cups of hot coca.

We went on Nov 29, it was cold and rainy, but Disney did not do anything to help their guests to stay warm. At the cookie station, the guests were directed to come from one door and out from the other, forcing everyone to eat their cookies in the cold rain, while the indoor seating were forbidden to use. It was utterly ridiculous.

We requested a refund of the event, but the Disney representative flat out lied to us and said both parades occurred as scheduled. We know for sure the 1st parade did not occur, as we waited by the Main Street from 8-9 PM and only heard the announcements that it was delayed and delayed. She said the parade started at 8:30 pm and ended at 9:30 pm, starting from Frontierland and ending at Town Square. Telling me how was it possible that this parade could’ve travelled that route without passing through Main Street?? How?

Bad idea

Very long lines, too many people for the attractions, very greasy food, expensive and little variety. Children are exhausted from waiting 90 minutes per attraction

Charm

By Marcele A |

It's my favorite park. It conveys all the charms of Disney. It has attractions for children and adults. It has accessibility and everything you need information. Ah! If you are not staying at Disney you have to take a boat or monorail to cross to the entrance, but it is quiet.

Disney's most famous park

By Fer_e_Rafael |

Our visit to Magic Kingdom was magical and unforgettable. The park is beautiful, with charming scenery that pleases especially those who are going for the first time. Most attractions are aimed at children, so those looking for radical toys may lack more intense options, but still, there is fun for all ages. The park was quite full the day we went, so it's worth the tip to arrive early to get the best. We used the Disney Experience app and it was super helpful: you can see the Waiting time in the queues, schedule shows and order food in advance, which helps a lot to save time. It is allowed to carry food as long as it is not in glass packaging, and this can be a good option for those who want to spend less. At the end of the day, you can't miss the fireworks show at the castle (Happily Ever After), which is simply unavoidable. Be also aware of special events, such as Halloween and Christmas, which require separate entrance, if you do not have, you will need to leave before closing.

Always Magical

By Jerri L |

We visited on a Thursday during spring break and it was quite busy (but when isn’t it?) but the grandkids (2 &4) did quite well with waits and having the lightening lane passes was very helpful. People start lining up along Main Street and in front of the castle for the two parades (12 and 3) and for fireworks at night an hour or more before they take place and this was tough for the little ones - sitting and waiting but we offered snacks and the youngest actually napped through the 3 pm parade. We were able to get autographs they wanted and enjoyed the experiences they were most excited about with lightening lane passes. Food is not as expensive as we expected and we found was actually quite reasonably priced (we ate at Pinocchio’s and at Casey’s Corner) and ordering online is also a huge convenience. Seeing the kids excitement over everything was absolutely worth it all.

How far does that go?

By Coline L |

Difficult to sit on a bench, difficult to sit down to eat, difficult to circulate, queues overflowing, shows blocking aisles.

We're just in the busiest park in the world so why adjust the number of tickets to the day when you can be piled up like pigs at the slaughterhouse?

After all this will cost you only $120 a day meal not included.

Get ready to hand out shoulder blows and hated humanity. Have a good day in our Disney Park 🫠

Holiday of a lifetime!

By juliaandadam123 |

If I had the time and money I would visit WDW time and time again! It really was the holiday of a life time and we enjoyed every moment.
We loved the atmosphere and the variety of rides (we are DLP regulars and WDW is something else!) Some of the rides fell a bit flat, compared to Paris and the castle in Paris is still the most beautiful of all the parks, but Orlando holds its own with so much to see and do over a full 2 week holiday.

Truly the Most Magical Place on Earth When you travel with your grandchildren

By ThomasTCat |

So many fabulous memories are created here. We finally had the opportunity to fly with dumbo and our grandchildren (fulfilling a promise made several years ago), the parade down Main Street and the gorgeous fireworks display in the evening are sights to behold, the many Disney Characters signing autographs and taking pictures with the kids was delightful and the princesses were so patient. The lines can be long, but there is so much to see and do along the way, and breaking up the day with lunch and snack breaks makes the whole experience less stressful and something you don't want to miss!!!!!!!

Don't go when Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween is on unless you like crowds.

By 317jille |

Love Magic Kingdom, but as the special Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Parties are currently taking place and the park closes at 6 for people who haven't bought a ticket for this event this has an affect on the days it is not happening. The park is so much busier and it makes finding somewhere to watch the parades and fireworks even more difficult.
Leaving the park was also a nightmare it was impossible to move and this really had a negative impact on the day.
On the upside we visited on a day when the park did close at 6 and the queues for the rides was a lot less.
Loved the character interactions especially Goofy he is so good with everyone.
Having said that I still love Magic Kingdom.

Disabled guests don’t bother.

By Michelle W |

I spent two amazing holidays in Magic kingdom with my 3 children, my son who was disabled had the most magical time , we never expected to not queue and joined the back of the lines and someone came and took us to the front.
From the minute we went in the park the day was just pure magic!
However after visiting this time the magic has gone , if your disabled don’t bother going here they no longer try to be accessible to disabled people as apparently they can wait in line !
We went at a time when Disney was different it has changed so much and not for the better.
The new DAS pass is rubbish wish you’d sort this out Disney and bring back the magic.

Magic Kingdom!

By Megan Graves |

Be prepared for crowds especially depending on what time of year you go. I don't suggest chasing wait times all day, you won't get anything accomplished. Just work through each section of the park despite wait times. If you want a good spot for the fireworks you need to get there early, earlier than you would even think. It's a mad house and different walking areas are shutdown around firework time which can make the crowds seem even crazier. There's plenty of food and drink options. The park overall is very clean. The use of the app is nice when trying to find your way around, but we also used a paper map which was nice as well. A lot of the restaurants were quick service eligible so if you are staying at a resort and have a meal plan you have plenty of food options that go with your meal plan, including snacks.

Far to many people

By Nigel J |

This is the fifth time visiting Disney but think this will be our last, we tend to go in November as the parks are usually quieter just a couple of weeks before Thanks giving but this time the parks were rammed, didn't like the way you have to log on to the Disney App at 7am to try and book a ride, food is very expensive and over rated, its a shame as Disney do make you feel special but the sheer volume of people now takes the fun away.

A great family experience

By Nuria I |

A great family experience. They give you lots of sweets and you discover different corners of the park, as well as enjoy different shows

A very disappointing experience.

The whole experience is overshadowed by the fact Disney have massively oversubscribed the amount of people into the park each day.You are hearded around and spoken to like farm animals, also due to oversubscription you have no chance of doing much more than 3 or 4 of the main rides and your day will be taken up with queuing. There are very few provisions to rest ie seating if it rains you will get wet as there is little or no shelter, unless you go into o e of the overcrowded and overpriced shops. There was no Disney characters around the park as shown on all the extensive advertising. I could go on but you can get the picture. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Great park for all ages

By CarloHelmond |

This park captures the magic of Disney perfectly. It’s a clean, well-maintained space with various sections to explore. There’s something fun for kids of all ages, and, of course, the recognizable charm that makes it so special. There is main street with the shows and restaurants. Depending on the day to will encouter an number of Disney characters. Having lunch outside the regular hours helps you to have shorter lines. The show at night with the presentation on the castle and the fireworks around it is quite impressive.

Classic Disney Fun—Just Plan Ahead

By Jonathan Phan |

Magic Kingdom is full of charm and nostalgia. We loved the parades, fireworks, and seeing familiar characters come to life. That said, it gets really crowded, so we had to be strategic with ride times and breaks. Using the app helped us stay organized, and mobile ordering was a lifesaver. It’s definitely worth visiting, especially if you’ve got little ones or first-timers—but be ready to navigate the crowds with patience and snacks.

It really was a very merry Christmas party!

By JillianC |

My husband, our 10 year old great niece & I attended Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on November 26, 2024. We’re Magic Key holders & very frequent guests at Disneyland & this was our first time attending a separately ticketed Disney park event. When I was planning our trip to Disney World & realized we wouldn’t see the Christmas parade or fireworks unless we went to the party, I bought the tickets when they went on sale. This is very different than Disneyland where the holiday parade & fireworks are included for everyone at Disneyland & they have a separate ticketed holiday party at California Adventure.

Anyway, although my husband’s jet leg caught up to him & he left the party very early, my niece & I had a wonderful time & shut the Park down at midnight!

We loved how relatively few guests were in the Park & enjoyed the stations offering cookies, hot chocolate & other treats. The parade was festive & fun & we lucked into a great viewing spot near the castle. The fireworks & projections on the castle were beautiful. It was fun to see that, unlike Disneyland, the castle itself isn’t decorated for the holidays because they do so much more with projections.

As it got later, my niece was blown away by how quickly she could ride whatever she wanted- she was thrilled to walk right into Space Mountain twice!

Although I’m really glad we can enjoy the holiday parade & fireworks without buying separate tickets at Disneyland, we really enjoyed our night at Mickey’s party at the Magic Kingdom & I’m glad I bought we went.

Fairytale

By uzmelissa |

A day with a lot of fun, rides and adventure with a fairytale. I'll always remember even I'm bit a Disney fan but if it comes to family fun, it should be best day ever.

Not what it used to be.

By Diann R |

Our family of 3, two adults and one teen, entered the park around 1:00 PM on Wednesday. Entry went smoothly.
We checked into ECVs but there was a wait list. My husband scanned the QR code to get on the list, entered his name, etc., then, he was asked to enter his credit card number. He did. Almost immediately our bank called and said his card was compromised. He was charged $39, which will be denied by the bank. He reported the fraud attempt to the cast member at the ECV kiosk and was told he didn’t need a card to get on the list. She basically told him he was wrong and the QR code did not link to any site asking for a card number. Well, it did. I got on the list with another cast member. We told a different cast member about the fraud and he said he would let his manager know. We think he was just trying to get us to go away.
Once in the park, the crowds were about as expected. We did notice that the park is showing its age and is outdated. Not that it isn’t well maintained, just tired.
We saw exactly one character all day. One of the bears was walking in the crowd. No princesses, no Mickey, no Goofy, no other character. Disappointing.
The one and only smoking area is located in a ridiculous place. You have to fight your way back out the exit to the park and head down the walkway leading to the Grand Floridian Resort, go past the line for the ferry to the end of the brick wall. There you will find two trash cans with overfilled ashtrays on top and a couple of benches. You have to go back through a security checkpoint, scanning to get back in the park, etc. No wonder people were vaping in the park! The way smokers are treated is just rude. There is no reason Disney can’t accommodate ALL paying “guests” even if the ones in charge don’t care for smokers. Do better.
I don’t really want to ever go back, but we have a bunch of 10 Day passes to use up. Those passes are the non-expiring park hoppers. However, in the app it says they expire in 2030. Just one more money grab by Disney for us to look into.

Good

Yes like the park. Had paid for tickets fast pass. Photo cards meets Cinderella Elena Rupuzel Taina Goofy Donald Dasiy Minnie Is good watch the parade , ride , then we got back to bus to hotel

Disney do not cater for disabled so avoid if you need extra help

By danb11430 |

Absolutely disgusted with Disney. As a uk blue badge holder relying on a mobility scooter to complete the parks and a waking stick along with PTSD and extreme anxiety in confined spaces I was given absolutely zero assistance.
I had to speak to guest services via a zoom call and go through all my issues which is something I don’t like to do. I was advised to tell the cats members at each attraction I needed assistance and questions wouldn’t be asked but assistance given. This didn’t happen so back to guest services for another zoom call.
Apparently my inability to stand for long periods ontop of the anxiety issues in confined crowded spaces didn’t meet their criteria. We paid for two weeks passed and I was unable to make the most of what should have been a magical time for the family to remember despite numerous e mails and pleading for assistance. I literally do not know what is wrong with Disney but we are absolutely disgusted and would never return again and would not recommend if you will be needing extra assistance as a disabled person

I wouldn't go again

By Ali |

They need to put a capacity on the amount of people inside per day, all rides had waits of 60-130 minutes. The ticket was full price but 4 rides were shut down totally disappointing since we flew from across the country.

I bought a lightening lane when I got there and saw wait times. I had to go to guest relations within the hour for them to return it as there was not a single time slot available for any ride, I don't even know why they would sell them at that point.

I anticipate lots of people at Disney but this was absolutely nuts, I overheard several people mention how unusually busy it was. Between the amount of stollers and power scooters expect people to run over your toes and hit your ankles all day. The other parks were fine enough but Magic was absolutely a waste of money.

Wonderful Disney

By Linda186299 |

Wonderful time. It was incredibly hot in some of the queues. The Tron ride was amazing. Everything was very well organised. Would recommend taking the ferry over.

If you get the chance, go to "Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party"

By Jairo Coli |

It is a great choice to attend the "Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party". The park gets fewer people, the queues are well memorable. The distribution of sweets is very well organized. The night stop (occurring 2x) and fireworks are different from normal days.

A Disney classic

By PAULO_CRIVA |

Imperfect to visit at least once. I admit I liked it more than other Disney parks, but Magic Kingdom still remains unavoidable.

Fun if you can afford the Premier Lightning Lane passes

By Greg F |

I was here the year they opened, and things changed quite a bit. Now there is such a strategy to get on as many rides with as short a wait as possible. My wife and I had the means to buy premier lightning lane passes which allowed us to go once through each ride that offered them with just about a 5-10 minute wait for each. They are very expensive, in addition to the park ticket. It would have been a miserable and stressful experience had we not done so. We had a great time, but felt bad for all the families waiting over an hour per ride that we walked by on most rides.

Worth Seeing At Least Once In Your Life

By SUBZEROSKIDD10 |

Magic Kingdom is the original. You can’t go without getting a photo of yourself in front of the incomparable Disney Castle and a visit is not complete without riding “It’s A Small World.” Is it overpriced? Yes. Is it a little hokey with everyone wearing their Mickey Mouse ears? Very much. Is it fun? Mostly. I’m glad I went to be able to say I was in “The Happiest Place On Earth.”

I would recommend this theme park

By jackson c |

best theme park ever the Magic Kingdom everyone's here I love it here or Bunches of goods rides that I love if I had to choose between any theme park I would ever choose this one or Epcot

Magical Holiday

We had the most wonderful time, everything was amazing, the cast members, the food, the rides, we have made memories to last a lifetime.
We would recommend to anyone to come and visit.

By Paloma Braga Parrales |

My favorite place in the world is magical, everything perfect and flawless. I don't have enough words to describe the Magic Kingdom... I would come back a thousand times, every year without thinking twice!

By David D |

Too expensive, dated attractions, many attractions down, staff aren’t like they used to be……….overall, very disappointing

Don't waste your money

By Catherine G |

The only magic Disney offer is how fast they take your money well over priced
every restaurant is very untidy food not nice
Guest services is shocking
Having a child with disabilities we where made do a live chat in front of everyone speaking about how our son struggled on a daily basis how it made him different from normal child we had all his information from hospital surgery information we offered to send them they didn't want it they wanted to speak to him to make a decision which they refused was horrible money has ruined you lot wouldn't ever recommend.

Worth it

By TheTravelAddiction |

Yes, it’s really expensive especially if you want a good experience and buy extras like Genie+. It also takes planning to do it right and have a good time. But like the other parks it’s an extremely clean, organized and family friendly park for all ages. It has a great blend of rides for different heights and thrill preferences.

It's Disney

By Andy P |

We did the after hours event for Magic Kingdom this year. This is something that our family enjoys. It is not for everyone, if you have little kids, like the shows and parades, then you probably don't want to do the after hours events. Enjoyed the rides as Magic Kingdom is our favorite park. It's Disney so either you will want to go or you won't. The biggest question is affordability, it does seem to be getting pricier with each passing year. Hopefully that will change.

By Tom B |

This place is overrated, miserable people walking around no good food ,just horrible!!! They need to step up their game it’s 2024

By Becky Lent |

Wonderful experience. Granddaughter was so excited to be there. Jack Skellington and Sally meet was a hit! Highly recommend.

3 Rides broken down

By Tim B |

We arrived about 10 o’clock and the place was absolutely packed with people. We headed for the top rides the first was space mountain. The ride was faulty so we went to the other side of the park to Pirates of the Caribbean and guess what, yep broken down. Ok let’s try Spider-Man FFS. What a joke. 3 hours of my $1100.00 dollars wasted

Not Disneyland but it tries

By Jim B |

Visited Magic kingdom this past weekend. I've been to Disneyland many times and wanted to take my girlfriend here for her bday. I didn't realize how massive Disneyworld actually was until we visited. We decided on the magic kingdom to do a comparison to our home park. Upon arriving it looks very similar from the outside, with the exception of the Matterhorn missing. Main street felt the same and the castle, while bigger at MK, you can't walk through it.

As for the rides Space mountain is horrible. The track is so clunky and you can't really see any of the stars or planets. At times the ride would slow down and be boring. It is in need of a serious makeover and repair. It's pretty much pitch black the whole time. Disneyland for the win on this one.

We liked Tron. The outside que absolutely sucked. No shade and it was so hot. Not sure why they don't have shade coverings for the extended potion of the outside que. That is probably the most oddest seating arrangement ever. BUUUTTTT we were front row and the launch is out of this world. It too is a very short ride, but intense at times. MK for the win on this one

Seven dwarf train, while fun, just isn't worth the 65 min wait. It had a few good drops, just Way too short, but i did like the concept of rollercoaster and dark ride together. Just feel it needs to be a much longer ride AND put some damn fans in the que!!

Peter pan was cool. My GF has never been on the Disneyland one so we had to check it out. The QUE is cute. It's 95% indoors and tells the story as you walk. It's a good ole classic ride and the ride system is one of a kind. MK is lacking the projection mapping n the ride though. Disneyland for the win on this one

People Mover. Oh how i wanted to love this ride so much, but it fell flat. 75% of the show elements were either covered up or not working. We don't have this at Disneyland so i wanted this to be amazing. Not sure why Disney has let this diminish so bad?? It was however a nice way to cool off and relax for 10-15 mins.

Tiana's bayou. Let's just say it sucks. It's splash but boring and lackluster. Splash made you feel scared, the tune was catchy and they had way more animatronics. We were all laughing in line about how they literally just reskinned this ride and watered it down.

The staff were very friendly and the food prices weren't to bad. The loaded tater tots were good. This park has a lot of potential and i feel once the construction on the new land is done it will be better. I sure hope Disney get's to fixing some of the issues many complain about. We only did 7 hours and honestly that's plenty of time in the park. Would have liked to hit some other rides, but had a plane to catch

“Inconsistent Wagon Policy Caused Discomfort for Our Children”

By Vaydis T |

We visited Magic Kingdom with our two young children and brought a wagon so they could be comfortable. After purchasing our tickets and at the entrance, we were told wagons were not allowed and were required to rent Disney strollers instead.

The rented strollers were very uncomfortable, and our children did not like them at all. What made this experience especially frustrating was that once inside the park, we saw multiple families using wagons, while we had been forced to remove ours.

This inconsistency caused unnecessary stress and took away our children’s comfort. Disney should ensure clear, consistent rules and better communication with families before ticket purchase.

Very nice in perfect Walt Disney style... we get a tear at the end

By mikerusco |

It was very nice, for those who know the Dutch amusement park, Walt Disney recreated the same atmosphere, amplifying in the US way, but keeping imprinting. It is different from other parks and thrilled us to the end. We managed to do so many attractions in one day , the "skip the line" and the park app are very useful and well done

Disney Disappointment

By Zaida C |

As a Florida resident I have been visting Disney for many years. And I have to say that this last visit now in August 2024 I was definitely disappointed. If we all think Disney makes millions just for 1 day. You would think they can all collaborate on ideas of how to improve the long lines. The Genie/ Lightning pass is such a waste but of course a win for Disney. I say this because the rides were either booked or not working. When approched Disney Experience team members there attitudes and or fasial expressions say it all. As a customer service consultant it was disappointing. It is hard to think that the once happiest place on earth is just there to take your money and not care about you. As my family traveling from NJ said very sad to have come here and will not do it again. Our experience at Universal Fla. Was overall the best.

Overpriced and out of date

By Mark S |

Magic?? What magic? Been visiting magic kingdom several times over the last 25 years and it has just got worst and worst. Today visit just proves how out of date this place is. Rides breaking down, new attractions not even open with no explanation ( Tiana log flume) waited all day to go on the tron rollercoaster in the so called virtual queue only to arrive at 8.30pm to be told its shut!! Staff don’t seem to care. Everything is so overpriced from your tickets to the food to the merchandise. Complete rip off. If you do want to visit then make sure you got plenty of money as you are going to need it.
I won’t be returning. There are a lot better places out there for more reasonable prices.

Good and fun park

By Musse. |

Been in the park several times since 2012.
I feel that it has become a bit more shabby since the first time we were there....
But it is still fun and well worth a visit.
It's quite expensive and long queues unless you buy express passes...

Remember to buy the tickets and reserve the day well in advance.

A kid at heart

It’s Disney. Just magically amazing. Disney never disappoints.

Extremely clean park. Amazing cast. Dreams really do come true here

By gemma |

5 stars! Hands down the most amazing holiday me and my boyfriend have ever had. Super friendly staff and very accommodating servers

Slightly underwhelmed

By Kev M |

Visited here on 1/8/24 with family . Parking is $30 which is still ridiculous and should be scrapped altogether . It’s Pure profiteering. The park is as good as always , been here before and I do like the park . It’s great for young kids but i didn’t see as many character meets as I once did and that’s a shame for the kids. The afternoon parade seemed smaller than last time but was still
Good. The virtual queue system for tron and tiana bayou ride is ridiculous. We managed to get in the queue at 1pm and was called at 5-15 pm by which time we had left . It’s a ridiculous system and should be scrapped altogether. Overall the park is good but could be better by sorting the parking fees and the ride wait times with virtual queues.

Magic kingdom not magical

By Kathleen A |

Will not go at this time of year again. Way too crowded. Too expensive and I feel like I would have been better to just stay at the resort

Flawless experience for families

By Darthy1256 |

I have to take my hat off to disney, park is as good if not better than ever. Everything there from the staff, to management of the park and maintenance absolutely flawless in every way. I read a lot of reviews about the park just being about the money it generates but didn't see any of that, yes tickets are expensive but 100 percent worth the money. Everything inside in my personal opinion was good value for money (7£ for a huge funnel cake that feeds three people!!). Rides are great, run smoothly on everything I rode, not once in 10 days did I see a ride broken down. The place is so clean and tidy as well, tens of thousands of people and little to no rubbish anywhere, also the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen in any park around the world.

Thanks for keeping the magic disney.

Enchantment for all ages

By Ambrosina Lignani |

Arrive early, before opening hours (9am) and photograph the parking lot of your car. You have the option of taking the Ferryboat, Monorail or walking to the entrance.
Wear comfortable clothes and comfortable shoes as you will walk all day. If you are with a child or elderly person, rent a suitable cart.
Enjoy every second, and stay for the fireworks show at night.

A Coaster Chicken's Guide to Modern Thrills

By Alicia T |

Our Magic Kingdom visit was great because we focused on the park's modern, high-tech experiences, proving that you don't have to love huge drops to feel the rush. For the self-proclaimed "coaster chicken," TRON Lightcycle / Run is an absolute must-do. While it is one of the fastest coasters on the property, it is incredibly smooth, focuses on pure speed and visual effects, and avoids major drops, making the unique, motorcycle-style seating a thrilling but manageable experience—the fast launch is easily the highlight. For a charming break, we found the 4D movie, Mickey's PhilharMagic, to be perfect; the charming story combined with great 3D, water, and scent effects was so delightful we watched it twice. To cap off the night, the Happily Ever After Nighttime Spectacular is truly the real showstopper. It moves beyond traditional fireworks, using massive, state-of-the-art projection mapping on Cinderella Castle to genuinely enhance the storytelling, providing an emotional and modern finale you have to see to believe. Finally, a couple of essential tips: first, comfortable shoes are non-negotiable because you will walk far more than you expect. Second, the 30-minute Early Theme Park Entry for resort guests is gold—it’s invaluable for maximizing your time and knocking out a major attraction before the main crowds even arrive.

Nice but can do better

By tatazoe |

Mythical park we wanted to do for several years
A little disappointed because park aging, attractions not very well maintained
Wait times are just huge but it's the game in the disney parks
It's not my favorite park and much prefers the one of betting
That said, it's a great memory.

Great new rides, but some bored and tired staff can ruin the experience

By Becky |

Let’s start with the good: Lots of family rides, but up levelled with Tron and the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train - great fun! Generally the lightning lane takes you to a good place in the queue.

ECVs were sold out by the time we got there:( It would be so nice if they purchased some more, as they are a lifesaver for people (especially from abroad) with disabilities.

While the park and rides are generally accessible, we had a poor experience with rude staff at the “It’s a small world” ride pressuring my disabled mother into a seat that she couldn’t sit in, even though the accessible boat was empty behind us; the rude attendants last comment was a patronising “You’ll fit.”, despite us trying to explain the issue. We didn’t fit, and our party was split up. I do think the friendliness of the staff has gone downhill from previous years, ruining the day.

Note - If you buy lightning lane, you need to book up rides as soon as it opens up for you. Many were already booked up for us by people staying at resorts, who have earlier booking periods.

Rude staff... Long waiting lines

By MarcoPolo |

I spent 1-hour buying a ticket and entering the park; I spent more hours waiting in the lines which took at least 1-2hour/each attraction. It is impossible to finish one park in one day. Especially the worst staff was at Tiana's Bayou Adventure. They do not warn anyone about loose stuff (like eyeglasses, hats etc) My hat flew and I immediately noticed them but they said "they cannot check. It is gone under the water" How could they know if it is gone underwater without checking it. They told me to report the lost-found guest services which I have done. It was another bad experience. After waiting for me for 2 2weeks they responded "sorry" even though they have not made a legitimate apology or any compensation or taken any responsibility. Their only intention is to make money but not customer satisfaction. I am very much disappointed.

Rubbish

By 9691 |

Boring, dated, too many people allowed in. Queues for rides ridiculous. Virtual queues don’t guarantee access. Some rides you can’t even queue for so can never go on them. Money grabbing. Nothing like it used to be. Really awful.

Magic park, although it wasn't my favorite

By Nairo |

Magic Kingdom is certainly Disney’s most magical park, but honestly, it wasn’t my favorite.

Don’t get me wrong: I definitely think Magic Kingdom is a park that you should visit at least once in your life. The thrill of entering Main Street U.S.A., seeing the iconic castle in the background for the first time, and feeling that magic that only Disney can offer is incomparable. In addition, the closing show Happily Ever After is simply spectacular and one of a kind.

The park has about 40 activities between attractions, character encounters and shows. However, in my opinion, only about 10 are really worth it. Many attractions are childish and some of the most popular, although they have long lines, did not seem so exciting. Despite this, I consider it a park that everyone should visit at least once.

As in all Disney parks, you can bring food in as long as it’s not in glass containers and doesn’t require special refrigeration or preparation.

Among the highlights, I recommend TRON Lightcycle / Run, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and Tiana's Bayou Adventure, among others. In addition, Fantasyland is an ideal area for those looking for encounters with characters and princesses, and the stores on Main Street U.S.A. are perfect for finding all kinds of themed merchandise.

If you plan to visit, consider purchasing the Lightning Lane Multi-Pass, as this park is required by the number of attractions available. They also offer Individual Lightning Lane for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, although we do not buy it. We took advantage of the early entry by staying at a Disney hotel and managed to make this attraction without major problem.

In short, Magic Kingdom is a park you should visit at least once in your life. Although I personally enjoyed Hollywood Studios more, this park has its magic and charm, and it is a matter of prioritizing attractions according to your tastes to enjoy them to the fullest.

Enchanting

By N D |

It embodied so much of my childhood!
We visited in early May when the weather was good but the crowds were not too big.
The biggest issue was rides constantly breaking down and being out of action.

Horrible Disney Vacation

By Psh F |

Don’t Stay in a disney hotel or come at Christmas Awful time busy disorganised rides breaking down monorail breaking down rides closed Das Disability a joke of a system Disney does not recognise Disabilities

Ruined our Christmas Vacation A very expensive holiday with family don’t bother staying at Disney hotels just to get 30 minutes early entry it’s chaos ques were 45 minutes long in mine train 70 minutes long on Tron this is early entry it’s ridiculous you need at least an hour early if staying at a disney resort to make it worth while don’t waste your money you still wiring for ages

Food in park is awful and very expensive bottle of water $6 Disney has gone downhill no more magical experiences

Monorail did not work in afternoon chaos again
3 rides were closed for period of time ques just build up for the prices we pay to experience Disney they are ill prepared

DAS service non existent not trained staff at all in disability they really don’t appreciate anyone with a Disability Disney is no longer magical it’s expensive with awful customer service and they just want your money

A magical place. That's where it falls that you're at Disney.

By Silvia Maria Maluf |

The park is as beautiful as it always has been. I bought all the Lightning Lanes Multipass and Single Pass and that saved the trip. I don't think I'd go without it anymore. Even because I was on Thanksgiving week and it was all mega crowded. The attraction at Tron was the best in the park and I dare say that it may have been the best of the trip. I was lucky to get in the front line without wanting and it was mega crazy. There were more Brazilians in the park than Americans, which surprised me. The fireworks show is beautiful, but the previous one was better. It's a park with a more childish footprint. Important to secure Memory Maker. The photos are very cool.

Must use Genie plus and lightening lanes

By reiki4life |

Early entry is a must for this park. Crowded isn’t even the right word. Must use Disney app for mobile food order as lines were so long. Must use genie plus for lightening lane for rides and virtual Que for Tron.

First day we did MK in afternoon 5pm arrival and stayed to close to watch fireworks. If you haven’t done this before be prepared for crowds like NY Times Square crowds when leaving. It’s a little scary but Disney does know how to move large crowds and we did get out of park in 30 min from fireworks to exit parking lot which was surprising.

Second day we did early entry 8:30am arrival for Tron Que group 3 and Tron was broken. When it reopened at 10am! we received notice via the app and we finally able to ride. We also used genie plus all day for rides and it was necessary.

Had dinner at Cosmic cafe in Tomorrow Land which had great salads !! Use mobile order for this cafe.

Pervert allowed to b8deo kids being changed in the baby care area!

By Rosemary K H |

We went to the baby changing area. And what I walked in with my granddaughter.A man came in video taping all of the children, all by himself.I looked at the woman working with there and I said " He's got a camera" .She shook her head shrugged her shoulders and said oh well. The woman next to me said that was disturbing! I reported it, but NO way should more than 1 person be allowed to bring a child in to get changed and ABSOLUTELY NO CAMERAS!!!

A Magical Experience at Magic Kingdom Park

By Ashiq I |

The iconic Cinderella Castle is as breathtaking in person as it is in photos, and it’s hard not to feel like a kid again.
The attractions are a mix of classic and newer rides. We loved the timeless favorites like Pirates of the Caribbean and Space Mountain. The newer rides, such as Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, were also fantastic! There’s something for everyone, whether you’re into thrilling roller coasters or more relaxed, whimsical experiences.
The parades and fireworks shows were spectacular and definitely a highlight of our visit. The nighttime fireworks over Cinderella Castle were nothing short of magical.
That said, there were a few things that kept me from giving a full 5-star rating. The crowds were a bit overwhelming at times, especially during peak hours, which made wait times for some rides pretty long. Food prices were also on the high side, but that’s expected in any theme park.

Love magic kingdom except on a Saturday

By sjulia |

Technically we were traveling with family , however none of the choices applied to us. We were traveling with our adult special needs daughter , not teenagers or small children. We always love the magic kingdom and it’s our favorite park Our first day here on our trip was wonderful. Beautiful scenery as always and lots of fun. Lines not crazy at all. We had to use our last ticket the day before we left and went to the magic kingdom in the evening on a Saturday. I can say with 100 percent confidence that we will NEVER go to this park during this time. We came across a whole different level of people who were quite frankly unfriendly, line skippers, and pushy. It really wasn’t a good time. I don’t know what disney could do about this . Perhaps have more staff around ride areas to monitor people and their antics. We learned our lesson to never go to the magic kingdom on a Saturday. The crowd of people is quite unique

A magical world where adults and elderly are children again.

By TripMember03232022 |

The badly haunted house disappointed me. The action toys are the best, but the Caribbean Pirates boat ride is very realistic, worth it!

Bad experience.

By shmulik grosman |

We've come six adults and one little girl to Magic Kingdom Park, rows of over an hour in the heat of death, the two main facilities are not working, and the attitude of the service department staff is just twisted.

Truly a Magical World!

By APGR |

It is the best amusement park in all of Disney, especially for the little ones.
I recommend staying in the hotels of the same chain, within the amusement park, since this way you will be able to enter the park 1 hour earlier and you will be able to take advantage of that time to enter some attractions faster. In addition to using transportation to go and return to the hotels.
There is no longer a low season at Disney, but it is worth going as it truly is a magical world.
For people who find it difficult to walk all day, I recommend renting a scooter because you walk a lot.

Best day ever

By michael d |

It really is a magical place the look on my daughters face when she seen the big castle was worth millions. The only ride that we had to wait a while for was the Peter pan one all the rest was a average of 10 minutes or so.the parade was amazing seeing all the disney characters.cant fault the park at all and it's not as expensive to eat as people make out.

Unforgettable

By Luciana P |

The app is very good, has the ticket, indicates queue time, details of attractions, concert times, alerts, map and possibly, your place in the parking lot, identifying character and number. You can come in with a bottle of water and snacks. There are drinks in the bathroom area.

When it is hot it is common to sell the fan that slides water, but the towel that refreshes was much more practical and efficient for us. We went in the summer and it rained almost every day: the rain cover was basic item of the backpack.

In Magic Kingdom there are two virtual row toys: Tyana and Tron. When scheduling 7:00 you need to choose one of them. The next time to schedule is at 1:00.

To get to the park take the ferry, the landing of which takes place in front of the first floor.

The closet for the Tron was free and of suitable size (different from the Universal parks).

It's a magical experience, but it's good to plan, sketch out a script and keep track of the concerts and stops schedules.

The park is very big. The little wheel that surrounds him helps in the displacement.

Family trip

By Hege-Kristin Sø... G |

The first day we were there, we were celebrating my 50th birthday. It was so overwhelming that it was hard to take in. This was our first trip to Orlando and the parks. And the fireworks in the evening were just fantastic. The park is well organized for wheelchair users. The only thing was that there were no door opens on the HC toilets, so it could be a bit difficult to go to the toilet alone. Some of the toilets were also a little crowded, but went fine. We took the bus to the transportation ticket centre and tried both the boat and the monorail over to M K. Several attractions had their own wheelchair entrances and a few had the opportunity to sit in the chair during the ride. I mean, M K is just as fun for adults as it is for children. There are many shops and restaurants there. We brought our own food and found places to sit and eat.

Disney employees are too rude

By JJ18 |

Disney is not what it used to be, specifically when it comes about Magic feelings.
The employees are very rude now, and I say congrats to Ms. Kaitlyn, picture attached that treaded my family very very very rude (and others too).
When I entered in the parking I bought the preferred parking and the employees sent me to the standard parking (even I showing the paper and having my lights on). End of the story, I had to exit the parking and get in the car line since the beginning.
Looks like Disney employees don’t care about the clients anymore, and their rudeness for sure will take Disney to bad days, unfortunately.
People who had the chance to visit Disney in the ‘Magical days’ were lucky.

The happiest place in the world... yes... it's you...

By Fam_Torres_A |

It's Disneyworld's main park in Florida... it really exceeded my expectations, I know the California park and in comparison this one is also very parent... always check the app for times and familiarize yourself with the park...

It's too much that would have to be counted... but it's a magical place for kids and big.

Good park

By Ang B |

Loved seeing the characters and the park itself but would rather go to animal kingdom as a lot of kids at this one
Still great day

Equal to Paris

By slash1983 |

As a European I know Eurodisney, and visiting magic Kingdom in Orlando I realized how much it is the same and even with less things than in Paris, I was disappointed since even the entrance ticket costs 50 euros more .. and then there are so many people that the day passes in line .. nn I had the opportunity to visit the other parks and maybe there was the difference, maybe I will return

Much better options than Magic Kingdom

By RicRei |

The reason I am writing now is to indicate much better options for toddlers. This park has not changed much in 30 yrs. Tron addition but you'll spend half your day getting on that. All rides for younger kids are the same as any decent amusement park and 10x more expensive with hour long waits. We spent $1700 for 9 of us. Does not include gast pass parking and food. The kids had more fun in the theme house we rented as we saved a fortune by not staying at Disney another huge ripoff when you compare to the house we rented 5 miles away. Disney however recouped their money from admission prices. Really was not worth it with packed crowds on a Wednesday even 10 deep for parades. Kids can barely see. They also very rudely kept my 5yr old grandson and me from returning to our family after a restroom visit before the fireworks. That did it for me.
As an example of a much better option includes many local carnivals or a.useme t parks. Knobels amusement park in Ellsburg PA. Is free admission and has many different ride packages.
The you g kids would rather be riding than waiting. Even Universal is a much better option as you get more for your money. Parents who want to bring young children must be going more for themselves and money is not an option. .ost kids growing g up these fans would say .icky Who??

Wonderful experience

By Evandro F |

Amazing experience for adults and children! An amazing moment to enjoy moments where dreams come true!

This visit gave the magic I expected and more.

By ISACK M |

I visited on my own and then family joined me in the evening. It is very much for the small children however I am a big kid and it was my first and maybe last visit (from England) therefore I wanted to see it all. Even with the crowds it was such a vibrant, happy, memorable place and I loved watching other people experience it. Wherever you walk there is set going on. I saw Mary poppins by the piano with the famous music. Pure magic. The day and evening parade is spectacular and the fireworks I have no words for. Bliss and 100% somewhere you have to go at least once in your lifetime….young or old 😍🎇🏰

Oh we had a short visit a few days earlier…..the weather changes so quickly and we got to see a true storm. So much so we were soaked to the skin and went home. I can’t describe the rain it was like the shower had been turned on never seen rain or thunder like it. And it rains all the time in England but not like this.

Magical

By Esther G |

Magic kingdom is an amazing out of this world experience. I should have maybe given 5 stars! However it’s just so dam busy and feels the most stressful and manic of all the parks.
The virtual queues for tiana and tron worked well for us thankfully and we got to ride on both and think things a good system to prevent crazy long queues. However I would have been frustrated if we’d failed in that queue- not sure if this happens at busier times of the year. Fireworks absolutely amazing and lovely to do that with older kids as we could stay a little later in the park afterwards to avoid queuing to get out.

Disney Fun

By J N |

crowded, even though we had reservations...hard to find somewhere to sit and eat lunch. But...it was still Disney World :)

Not worth it anymore

By Naomi P |

The crowds really kill the experience. I get everyone wants to go to Disney, but it’s not enjoyable when you can’t stand without being bumped into. When there’s flocks of people everywhere you want to take a photo. It really looses the magic. If you don’t want to wait 2-3 hours per line you can pay an extra $200 do make a slightly shorter line. It’s just not worth it anymore.

By Joao Paulo |

Disney's magic. There's no way to go to Orlando without visiting the Magic Kingdom. It's not the best park, but it's the one that makes you feel like you're in Disney. Castle, characters, the parade, everything reminds you of your childhood desires. Still has great attractions for adults and children. Do not fail to go to the Russian mountain Tron. If you have kids, you will not lack attractions. The pictures with Mickey and in front of the castle are classic.

Tecnical problems and no compensation

By Camilla F |

Four times We were in a line waiting for a ride and they sent us out because of tecnical problems - no compensation! They keep saying “We are sorry”. It is not acceptable when you Think of the Price.

Magical

By Emma F |

We absolutely loved magical kingdom

My daughter is 4 and loved seeing all the princesses, she’s Autistic and they were great with her.

The app is fantastic, to find out about meet and greet times

We were easily able to book with the DAS.

We did not see the fireworks unfortunately, it was a bit to late for us unfortunately, starting at 10pm

🏰A Truly Magical Reunion at the Magic Kingdom!

By Miguel🎭 |

Visiting the Magic Kingdom is always special—but reuniting with my brother after 12 years made it truly unforgettable. We visited on June 2 and arrived around 11 AM, expecting to miss out on some attractions. To our surprise, the wait times throughout the day were incredibly short! The longest we waited was just 30 minutes, and most attractions were between 5 to 20 minutes—something practically unheard of. Because of this, we were able to enjoy so much more than we imagined, even with our later start.

We caught the Festival of Fantasy Parade and stayed through the Happily Ever After Fireworks Show—which, on this particular evening, was the only nighttime entertainment (no parade, just fireworks). Both were spectacular and full of that classic Disney magic.

A personal highlight was purchasing a custom silhouette portrait on Main Street—a hidden gem many guests walk right past. I gifted it to my brother as a keepsake of our reunion. It’s a hand-cut piece of art made on-site, and for Disney standards, surprisingly affordable. A truly meaningful souvenir.

We stayed until the park closed at 10 PM. While the lines for the monorail and ferry were understandably long, Disney’s crowd management was on point, and we were out in a reasonable time.

All in all, a day filled with joy, heartwarming moments, and smooth experiences. If you can visit mid-week in early June, it just might surprise you too!

By Isaac |

The park is perfect! Especially for young children and girls. But don't worry! It has attractions for everyone! A good tip is to keep an eye on the app and go to attractions with less queue time! Another good tip is that the park offers free water in fountains and drinking stores. I consider the stop with all the characters and the closing show imperative.

Not as magic as it once was thanks to the greed of Disney

By Jonny_Wilko |

This is our 4th visit to Florida, and Magic Kingdom has always been our favourite park.

However it has lost a bit of its magic. On previous visits (2013,2015 and 2017) we had the ability to use free fast passes. These have now been replaced by paid “lightning lane” passes. The greed of Disney has damaged Magic Kingdom making it a frustrating experience. Unless you hit lucky, you’re facing 45 minutes to ride pretty much any ride, and potentially 120 minutes for Tiana, Tron, Space Mountain or Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. After spending thousands on park tickets for the family it’s pretty outrageous.

And what happened to the cast members? On past visits they were excellent, but now they’re just surly and uninterested.

On the plus side, Tron is a brilliant ride, but the park is really showing its age. Hopefully the planned developments in frontier land will help give it a lift.

Food is generally decent quality, and actually not as expensive as you’d think.

Overall, still a great park but the decline in value and magic is clear to see, making it frustrating.

By II_Traveler_II |

There's really nothing quite like walking down Main Street, seeing the castle and feeling like you are 7 years old again seeing it for the first time.

There have been a lot of changes over the years, but most of the new is welcome. Plenty of great rides (Tiana's Bayou/Splash Mountain, Tron, and more classic rides like Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Peter Pans flight, etc) and plenty of great food spots (Gaston's tavern, Skippers Canteen, the springroll cart, aloha isle for a tropical serenade, etc)

But most of all, happily ever after. Could there be a better way to end a day at MK?

Thank you to all the cast members especially for keeping the magic alive, both inside the parks and around the Disney bubble.

Very very overcrowded for MVMCP

By SBtravel |

We are frequent visitors starting many years ago. We are used to crowds, but not the level of crowds we encountered in particular during what is supposed to be a separate ticketed event with an incentive being less crowds. As other reviewers mentioned, it is amazing what Eternal Disney Defenders accept as "It is Disney" "The Magic is what you make it" "It is December " and accept dealing with waiting for hours and shoulders to shoulder crowds. It shouldn't be that way. It just takes away from the experience. We sat next to a family during the Christmas party who flew in from Brazil, the father was raging, the mother was in tears, and the kids were done. The party was shoulder to shoulder as I had never ever seen it in early December, and we attended many, not only Christmas but also the Halloween parties. The stores were packed, and we couldn't even stop and look at anything. Between the crowds, the strollers, the scooters, and people pushing, we couldn't talk or discuss a purchase or anything like that. The hot chocolate/cookie stations were so sparely located that we decided not to even bother and fight the crowds. Thankfully, we budget it for the Tomorrowland Terrace fireworks Seats and Treats. It was the only peace we got from the crowds, and we were able to watch the fireworks without having to deal with massive crowds, but that's an additional several hundred dollars for our family. While I understand that there are no longer low crowd times, I do think that considering the price for everything, the nickel and dime for convenience and time-saving options, Disney could do better.

Fun to visit!

By slt0831 |

Our family enjoyed our time at Magic Kingdom. My kids are teenagers (except the youngest who is 8), so they were more interested in rides. We explained to them that Disney is about the experience, not the rides. They still did have fun. I was disappointed that there weren’t more characters walking around. When we went in November 16 years ago, there were characters you could meet all over the park. I realize it’s July and hot, so maybe that’s why. But that took away a little bit of the fun, in my opinion. My youngest enjoyed most of the rides. My older kids loved Tiana’s ride, Snow White’s ride, and Space Mountain. I loved the Haunted Mansion. Overall, we had a good time.

Micky's Not So Scary Halloween Party

By Carl H |

So during our recent Florida trip we decided to book two nights at the Micky's Not So Scary Halloween Party as we have never done it and thought two nights is safe due to potential weather issues, lucky for us this was a god idea as night two (26th Sept) was cancelled due to Hurricane Helene.

So the night was attended (22nd Sept 2024) it was awesome.

We got there at 2.45pm to queue for the 4pm entry and there was already a queue. The staff were very accommodating and were as efficient as physically possible through the access points and getting everyone their dedicated wrist bands.

Once in, wow, things looked great, we were directed through the right hand side to get our sweet bags and off we went.

So the rides, some like Space Mountain have overlays (in this case pitch black), it's awesome, the ride is so much better when it's in complete darkness.

We did many things we have not before and made the most of the lower ride times.

Food:
Corndogs - the normal ones were as expected great.

Halloween Special Corndogs - These were superb, they had BBQ Pork on them and they were lovely

The Halloween cheesecake - This was lovely, I'm not a massive pumpkin fan but this was great and not overpowering on the flavour front.

Shows:
We finally was the Country Bear Musical Jamboree which was really pretty good and I'd recommend it, especially to get out the heat for a while.

Rides:
Big Thunder Mountain - A true classic that really is better at night imo

Tron - Amazing and the theming is so much better at night with all the lighting

Space Mountain - Awesome with the Halloween pitch black overlay

The parade - This was great and the headless horseman really is cool to see, but the song, this is so catchy it's unreal :-)

The Fireworks - These really were awesome, a lot of the time I get bored with the parades and fireworks but this time I was really impressed and I feel they are a must see as they differ from the generic normal ones.

The characters - there are so many rare characters to see around the park it's great, you see all kinds that you normally don't and although wait times can be high (if like us you don't mind seeing but not queuing to meet them) it gives you more chance for low ride wait times.

Overall I would score the whole event a solid 9/10, the trick or treating cool, and the sugary sweets a welcome add on to aid you in staying awake :-)

Used to be a lot better

By tmde |

We had annual passes for years, then we let them go a couple yrs. ago because we were not enjoying ourselves like we used to due to some changes Disney implemented & to a lesser extent guests behavior. After a 2 year break, we decided to go back, because the Disney pull is so dang strong. I’m not saying we had a bad time at MK, but there are some issues that have nothing to do with guests behavior & all to do with Disney. 1. On the day MK had early entry, there were no buses showing up at our resort for MK. We asked a bus driver going to AK & he said the sign showing a blank for next bus meant a bus driver had not signed in yet & told us there wasn’t early entry for MK, which wasn’t true. Everyone got on their phones trying to get a lift. 2. This is a major one for us. Cast members behavior. I am usually all for CMs because their job isn’t easy. I always go out of my way to be extra kind to them. But OMG the amount of blatantly rude & looks of don’t give an F on their faces was unreal. All smiles, good mornings or afternoons, smiling waves, or how are you, or any nice greeting were met with blank stares or sometimes ugly looks. No training seems to be given like it used to. There was no magic pixie dust wave for the Peter Pan ride, just a cold stare. Big Thunder, People mover, & a few others, cms were more interested in gossiping with each other than directing guests. On the people mover escalator, we almost fell on a family at the top because the cms at the bottom kept adding people without seeing if there was room at the top. Some of this might seem silly, but those little things are what used to set Disney apart & made children believe in magic. I’m not saying all cms are bad, we met a few wonderful cms in HS the day before. It just seems there’s less of the good than the bad now. 3. Tron definitely needs more lap bar seats. The amount of people who had to wait for that one seat section was insane. Most because of the calf restraints. 4. What happen to all the unique merchandise? It’s the same thing everywhere, even in the world showcase with the exception of the Japan & China pavilion.
Honestly, I wish Disney would do better. Add more of the little things that don’t cost them anything, like a smile, or a hello princess/prince to the kids. Those small things make a world of difference.

Not a Very Merry Christmas

By Nate I |

Thankful for Disney's last minute accommodation in granting us tix despite being sold out. However the very inclement weather made for the worst experience ever. MK chose to remain open despite the worse possible conditions: Incessant rain showers, thunder, and lightning storms. We (and everyone) got completely soaked, had to buy unwanted rain gear at the Disney shops just to avoid getting sick from wearing wet clothes. Stood in Guest Relations in the pouring rain for hours. NOT a very merry Christmas at all.

Magical in every possible way

By sabinna15 |

We absolutely loved the whole of Disney, but Magic kingdom was our favourite!
Stunning fireworks and so much detail in everything. All the staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. No issues in the whole 14 days we spent at Disney.
Yes, it gets busy, yes lines for some rides get long, and yes its expensive.
But its possible to avoid long waiting lines and expensive shopping and food!
We monitored the waiting times on the app and didnt wait longer than 40min for any rides. We brought food with us and bought souvenirs outside disney for fraction of the cost at disney!
It was meant to be once in a lifetime trip but i am already planning our next trip!

Magical Queueing Park

By Malvern Meals |

Too expensive, too many people, too many queues.

We were there for 10 hours and managed 4 rides. Spent the whole day queuing up for literally everything.

Don’t waste your money. Don’t waste your time.

DONT GO AUG-DEC

By Alyssa Y |

I extremely disappointed with the lack of transparency and the way this situation was handled at City Hall. The park closed earlier than usual due to adjusted hours, yet at no point during the purchase of standard tickets was it clearly communicated that fireworks — a well-known and expected part of a Magic Kingdom park day — would not be included and were instead reserved exclusively for a separately ticketed special event.

By the time we realized this, the special event was already sold out. This left us with an early park closure and no fireworks, which is a major reason many families choose to visit Magic Kingdom in the first place. The lack of disclosure felt misleading and left us feeling blindsided.

When I raised this concern at City Hall, the cast member was polite and kind, but the response itself was dismissive and offered no meaningful resolution. The only accommodation provided was a single Lightning Pass for our entire group, which did not begin to address the cost, lost experience, or disappointment — especially given that the day was effectively shortened by several hours.

For a company that prides itself on guest experience and transparency, this was poorly handled. It felt less like guest care and more like standard ticket holders were quietly disadvantaged so Disney could double sell the day without clear communication upfront.

Magic kingdom is always wonderful and everything else about the experience was magical but it definitely put a damper on the day and a $$$$$ trip.

If you’re planning to go to magic kingdom anywhere from August-December please note that the park closes early most days which means that you do not get the normal experience and Disney double sells the second half of the day, including the fireworks show to the private holiday parties.

The Very Merry Christmas Experience- Magic Kingdom Park

By Mason F |

I went to the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom and wow was it fun!
I do this experience every year and it really makes the hot Florida heat feel like a winter park for the whole family to enjoy. As you walk in your greeted by the well known characters all dressed up for the holiday season as well as soap that looks like snow flying above you. Throughout the experience you could get cookies and hot chocolate for free at stands all around the park. Most of the rides were open and while the wait for some of them was tedious, the overall experience made up for it.
One problem, I had never been on space mountain before and the whole point of the ride is its in the dark. The problem is for the "Very Merry Christmas" the lights(flashing green and red with Christmas music) were on and it ruined the whole ride. This is really the only problem with the experience and overall it was so much fun and I will be returning for the 2024 event.

Chaotic exit. HORRIBLE

By mjn1981 |

The departure from the park was chaotic, they treat you like cattle, we took two hours to get on the transports to get to the car, very hot and no staff... the boys broke down from the heat. Humiliating...
The park is old, it is beautiful but if you are teenager or big for what you pay do not meet expectations, you have 3 games that you are interested in that are always with hours of waiting, you take out the lightning lane that comes out dear and have few games to note that the hours offered are uncomfortable or directly there are no, we passed that in addition two of those we chose stopped working... when it was the fastpass and you did not get to take, you did not say anything because it was inside the entrance... now 30 dollars per person came out... they would have to be embarrassed, customer loyalty -10...

Tip, if you're a teenager or an adult... go to UNIVERSAL, it's worth every dollar to pay... it's much better than disney

Magic Kingdom? You mean Tragic Kingdom.

By Patrick M |

Like many recent reviews stated, the place is looking tired and dated. Dirty at rope drop. Overpriced and lacking that magic. Staff was ok at best. Overcrowded and lines way too long. Two rides broke down while we were on both and had to be escorted off of them! Offered nothing in return. Wasted two hours in a day because of that. Also, the Monorail broke down, so we had to wait a while to take a boat back to parking lot. Overall, it was a waste of money, waste of time and I wouldn’t recommend going unless the park undergoes massive repair or updating.

Fun but overpriced

By Sarah T |

This is a good place to visit if you happen to be in the area. The park is great, we didn’t javelin to wait too long in lines given the size and popularity (average 30 minutes or less)

The food was pretty good but as with most amusement parks, food and drinks were grossly overpriced as were the tickets. There’s no military discount for veterans unless you’re active duty. Tickets for a day plus parking will cost you $170 per ticket and $30 to park. The park is wheelchair accessible. The moving floors beside some of the rides seem to move a bit quickly for my taste and one could easily fall getting on/off the ride.

Merchandise was grossly overpriced. Example— a spray bottle with a fan attached was $26 and you can get the same exact thing elsewhere for $5-$8 Disney merchandise was expensive as well.

There were no characters around the park that I saw the day we visited and many of the older movies/characters aren’t even represented.

Magical day with the Twins

By Rochelle F |

We took our 8 year old twin grandnephews for their birthday to Disney and Magic Kingdom was our first park (of 2) to visit. Starting early is a must and staying on Disney Property (our 1st time) at Boardwalk Villas (while expensive) was worth it. The bus is steps away to that Park and runs regularly.

Entrance to the park early is doable if staying on property so we arrived at 8:15. Using the mobile app experience, makes the process of scanning the entry easily (although small children's fingers did not work so we changed it to my thumb for their passes).

Lightening Lane was very helpful for midday rides as park wait times get quite long and kids start to wilt. I did a lot of reviewing of where rides were and discussed with the kids so we could have a successful day. Upon entry we went straight to Buzz Lightyear (in Tomorrowland) and rode it twice with no lines. Then did Speedway and People mover fairly easily too. Crowds roared in at 9:00 the official park opening time and raced towards Tron and Space Mountain, both of which had 1 hour wait times in the standby line all day. We never ended doing either but the boys loved what they did.

Their favorite was Pirates of the Caribbean (we had the Lightening lane for that at 12 noon and even did it again in the evening as they wanted to (with a 35 minute wait ). Second fav was Buzz Lightyear. The Haunted Mansion was really not scary and a waste for the lightening lane but who knew? When we reviewed they thought that sounded so fun (and the description says spine tingling. Who were they kidding?). We did a number of other rides and the wait times were not too bad (I was very happily surprised about this). Using the app is so helpful as it gives wait times so we could prepare the boys for the wait if they wanted to go somewhere or change and do that ride later.

We took a break in the middle of the day around 3 pm as it was so hot and the boys were wilting. So we did not see the parade. Returned for dinner at the Jungle Navigation which was okay. The fireworks were nice too.

We all had fun. Liz, our Disney consultant who is paid by Disney was very helpful too in helping us navigate and making great suggestions. Liz.bestdayever@gmail.com

We are Walt Disney World enthusiasts and have visited many, many times This review is for MAGIC KINGDOM.

As of August, 2024, Disney now offers a new Multilane Litghtning Lane Pass (replaced the Genie, and olf Fastpass). This is an additional coat that we always used to buy (when it was genie).

Do NOT buy this. Was an absolite complete waste of money for our family!!!! The times were all horrible (later in day or at night)...and this goes for most days we have checked... yet every ride listed had 5-30 minute standby waits. We could walk on a ride in 5 minutes, but the lightning lane return times were later in the day. Does that make sense?
Also, you CANT use the lightning lane pass for Tron or Tianas Bayou, so there are 2 rides taken out of the mix.
You CANT use lightning lane passes for character meets anymore.
What is the point if spending extra to buy this? For a couple rides that you could walk on quicker?

Seven Dwarfs has been out of order all day, Tiki Room - out of order, Peter Pan - closed for refurbishment. Absolute disappointment and complete waste of money at Magic Kingdom!!!!!

Don't waste money here...the magic is gone. Just long lines and closed rides. Go to Universal...you will get more for your money.

BTW, I am writing this as I am at the park now.

Don't do it, Disney completely ruined the park!!!!! If you do go, do NOT waste the extra money on thr multi lightning lane pass - YOU WILL REGRET IT!!

Lack of Maintenance oversight

By Tim R |

Multiple breakdowns, including the monorail, canceled parade, stuck on the monorail for 30 minutes, with the failures came pushing and shoving and strollers hitting my ankles, electric scooters. Finally 7:00 a.m. queue "ride" and it got canceled as well! These annual tickets were more like paying to walk around the mall and had to pay again to get on any decent rides "up charges" with no entertainment value (I quite frankly it felt exploitation as a guest of your property) 5 days in the bubble five days and 5 days Orlando resort! Nice to see city of Orlando does not treat its guests this way! Outside the Disney bubble prices were great meals went back to 30 to 40 bucks instead of $$$120 PS Rodeo Roundup was overpriced again worst cheesecake, spices mind you for a week. Narcosis another big disappointment !..

A Must Visit Theme Park in Central Florida

By TravelerCentralFLA |

My wife and I visited the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World for the first time in many years. When you drive up to the parking lot gate you come to the booth and pay for parking. Basic parking was $30. If you have annual passes I believe parking is included with the annual pass. After paying you are directed to the parking area. Cast members are directing traffic to the parking spaces. Various parking areas are named after Disney characters and also have a parking lane number. For example we were parked in the Peter Pan section near parking lanes in the low 200s. Our parking was fairly close so we walked to the transportation area (TTC). At the end of the night we rode the tram to the parking area and were dropped off by our parking section. After walking to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) we decided to ride the ferry boat over to the Magic Kingdom park entrance. We arrived right about the time of open and there was not a long wait to ride the ferry. We could have also taken the monorail to the entrance of the park. There was a security inspection as we entered the transportation area.
When we arrived at the park entrance we went through the area and presented our tickets. We had our tickets on our iPhones; some people use their Magic Bands. We scanned our tickets digitally at the gate and presented our finger print on the finger print scanner. The process is pretty simple and did not take long. We did not wait in a line to go through the ticket scanning area. I believe that at some very busy times of the year there can be a line to enter the park.
Once we entered the park we walked into the town square area at the base of Main Street, U. S. A. Guest services is in the town square area and Main Street is filled with shops and restaurants. Cinderella's Castle, the iconic image of the park, is at the end of Main Street. The process of getting from parking to transportation to the gate and then down Main Street is quite involved. It usually takes 30 to 60 minutes to get from where you parked your car to the front of the castle. It is good to calculate this in your planning of entering the park. The process does its part in immersing guests in the magic of the park as they transition from their car and the parking lot to the Magic Kingdom park.
Once you arrive at the castle you decide where to go and what to do from there. The various lands of the Magic Kingdom: Adventureland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland are different directions from the castle. If you go to the right when you first come to the castle you will head to the Tomorrowland section. If you go to the left at the castle you will go toward Adventureland. The other lands are generally beyond the castle. Each land has attractions and dinning. The dinning ranges from more reasonably priced counter service restaurants to moderately priced table service and even to more expensive character dining like at Be Our Guest. We ate dinner at the park and we chose the moderately priced, Plaza Restaurant, which had good food and service. Of course the prices in the park are all higher because they are in the theme park.
The Magic Kingdom has a wide variety of attractions. Shows like the Country Bear Jamboree are well-known and enjoyable. There are mild rides that are appropriate for all ages like the carousel, It's a Small World, Peter Pan's Flight, Journey of the Little Mermaid, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, The Dumbo Ride, and The Jungle Boats to name a few. There are also more intense rides like the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Space Mountain, TRON, Tiana's Bayou Adventure, and Big Thunder Mountain. There are also attractions that are not intense roller coaster type rides, but can be a bit scary. These include Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion.
You can also find character meets around various areas of the park. Whether you are into Mickey, Peter Pan, or Princesses there are places throughout the park to get your picture with many of the characters.
My personal favorite shows are The Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor and the Country Bear Jamboree. My favorite rides are The Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin. Unfortunately, Big Thunder Mountain is currently closed for refurbishment so we couldn't ride it; I usually enjoy that ride. Likewise the Hall of Presidents was closed for refurbishment.
We did make sure to watch the fireworks show. It is really amazing. The best viewing is right in front of the castle. Guests often start staking out spots around 7:30 pm for the 9:00 pm fireworks. The show includes music, character voices, video presentations on the castle, lights, and fireworks. It is quite the spectacle. However, the crowd is large and it takes a bit of time to get out of the park or to other attractions once the fireworks are over. I do recommend the fireworks, but be mentally and physically ready for a large crowd.
The park was open until 11:00 pm the night we went. When the fireworks were over at 9:18 pm we decided to do a few more attractions. We left shortly before closing. The lines for the monorail and the ferry were pretty long and it took a long time to get to our car. Do be ready to wait in line a lot at the Magic Kingdom.
The Magic Kingdom is the quintessential Disney Theme Park and has some of the most iconic shows and attractions at Disney. It has appeal for guests of all ages. I do recommend a visit to the Magic Kingdom if you are in Central Florida.

The most magical place on earth

By Uisge1982 |

Really did meet our expectations. Not a blade of grass out of place. We were there when it opened so got a couple of the big rides done before the liens were crazy. The crowds increased as the day went on but out side of the liens it was fine for walking around.

Individuals with special needs, including myself, are frequently disrespected, as evidenced by the repeated use of a derogatory term to address me at the Magical Kingdom in Orlando, which has led me to recommend avoiding this location, although my sister remains skeptical of these incidents.

Disney Please do better with this I don’t recommended to visit anymore Disney is a disgusting place to be at while you on your vacation for your pre birthday Week

the employees didn’t do nothing about this Situations if anybody have special Nedds or a disability and been bully for no reason don’t Come to Disney Anymore

Treat like cattle

By Lois |

Very disappointed with our experience, seems to be all about just taking as much money off people as possible and not giving a damn about their experience.

As soon as you arrive to the entrance $30 is took off you for parking even though we paid a lot of money for our tickets. As it’s in the middle of nowhere you can’t really park anywhere else & they know this.

We couldn’t believe how crowded the park was, people everywhere, lost count of the amount of times our ankles were bashed into by prams. Long and slow queues for every ride we went on which ended up not even being worth it as the rides weren’t very good.

Decided to get a snack from Gaston’s Tavern, again OVERPRICED. When our food was given to us we tried to find a table but none available. We counted around 8 tables which is not nearly enough for the amount of people they are letting into the parks, we ended up having to eat outside in the blazing sun.

Disgusted in the queue at haunted mansion. Spoken to like absolute scum by the cast members - literally shouting at you to pack yourself into the room as much as possible or someone else could take your place and it would be your fault. Do they not remember the pandemic the world has just had? Some people may not feel comfortable standing that close to a stranger, especially when everyone is sweaty from the boiling weather.

Despite all this we were very much looking forward to the fireworks. We were in the queue for TRON for 95 minutes, we got off the ride at 20:15 so thought we’d find a spot to watch the display. Good luck watching the display unless you find a spot at least 1hour 30 mins in advance. We were paraded around like cattle, cast members holding neon sticks like cattle rods preventing you going anywhere & yelling at you to keep walking. I was devastated I was being paraded around while the display was on, we ended up standing behind some trees/boulders so could barely see the castle. Was totally gutted, we paid a lot of money for this park & never want to return again. As soon as the fireworks finish there’s an avalanche of people from all directions trying to leave at the same time, utter chaos and not worth the money at all. We had much better time at the Kissimmee car show and that was free and drinks not over priced. Universal is also much more organised and the rides are so a lot better so makes it worth the money.

Overpriced, overcrowded and overrated.

By Jamie S |

Overrated priced, overcrowded and overrated.

My family and I visited Disney for the day with the aim to take our daughter around the park for the first time. Sadly, all notion of having a good time was unachieveable due to the park's outdated design and pricing. It's seems that paying £400 to get into the park isn't enough for Disney. That only gets you the privilege of walking the parks streets, if you want on any of the rides in a reasonable time then you've got to fork out more cash lest you spend an hour and half waiting on something that either has multiple parts not working or just breaks down all together. In the 9 hours we spent in the park we only managed to get on five rides due to breakdowns and overcrowded queues. Now Disney can't do anything about the sheer volume of people attending the park, except getting ride of the money-grabbing lightning lane package. Every ride we queued on became twice as long because of the favouritism shown to the lightning lane. Yes, I know that's what it's designed for but quenes overall would have moved much quicker had such a system not been in place. If you eventually do get on something and aren't one of those people that drinks the Disney cool-aid you'll notice that a lot of the attractions have faults, parts that down work, breakdowns during rides or don't work at all. Most rides are diluted versions of their own products such as poor retellings of their own films. They're great for anyone under ten, but as an adult don't offer much in the form of entertainment for adults.

By Laly912 |

For cost and time, in the park we chose to consume fast food, in some kiosks located in some sectors of the Park.
There were few options to choose from.
I bought a ration of a hot dog and a few snacks of rice for $11, includes the tax.
What I do recommend, is the lemon ice cream at 6 dollars, very rich.
I recommend carrying collations in your backpack.

Magical Park but too crowded

By Rhoda J |

I love this classic park but the crowding in February is ridiculous! Expect long waits and crowds but the rides are great .

I missed things.

By Pedro |

I understand that, perhaps, it is the most oriented park for smaller visitors, and that influences me because mine are already teenagers, but since our arrival I already perceived more disorganization than in the other 3 parks (advice: if it is bad weather, bring the umbrella into view if you do not want to suffer a queue to be searched and lose time before accessing the park). There are 2 attractions with virtual queue but you can only take an appointment for one, the other, they do not leave you even trying at 13:00h. If you want to see her, pay for one of the passes. Tron: great but short, Big mountain: great as in Paris, Jungle cruise: I only recommend it if you have less than 30 mins wait. Shortage of characters on the street. Remember to arrive very early, it is the park that fills the most.

Greed by Disney has destroyed Walt's vision!

By JDHS2014 |

Greed by Disney has destroyed Walt's vision! I have been coming Florida on a yearly basis since 2011 (except Covid). My wife and her family for over 30 years.

Magic Kingdom was always a must go and do theme park. I now have a young child and it has been even more important to visit. In the years immediately after Lockdown things weren't great, but we accepted that as the world was reopening.

This year we came and I can honestly say Disney has destroyed Magic Kingdom through greed. Even arriving early, it takes over an hour just to get inside. Once inside, the park is cramped, in some areas, beyond belief, to a point it feels unsafe.

We took our 4 year old, and having walked around Epcot the day before (which I would highly recommend) we decided to take the stroller from our villa. This was a God send. I was so nervous about losing sight of him for a second and losing him. If the park were to need evacuating in a hurry, it would be terrifying. I imagine it'd be survival of the fittest!

The queues for any of the bigger rides all exceed 60 minutes from the moment the park opens. Good luck getting children to queue patiently in them.

I genuinely feel sad writing this review. Having had much fun visiting in my early 20's and being excited about bringing my children here, it sadly feels like the magic has been well and truely stolen in favour of profits.

I cannot imagine what Walt would think if he were to see what has become of his 'Magic Kingdom.'

An enchanting day of classic rides and magical moments!

By Malik Hassan |

There’s something magical about walking down Main Street and seeing Cinderella’s Castle up close. My favorite part was definitely the rides—Space Mountain was a thrill, and Pirates of the Caribbean is always a classic. Even though it was busy, the lines moved pretty quickly thanks to the Genie+ service, which saved us a lot of waiting time. The food was surprisingly good too—grabbed a Dole Whip, and it was the perfect treat for the Florida heat. All in all, it’s a great place for a day filled with nostalgia and excitement!

Magical place rain or shine

By Kayla R |

We went with our 2 yr old and 4 month old, no fault to Disney whatsoever but our park day just so happened to be on a day that rained nearly the entire time we were there. That was sad but it’s still a magical place. 2yr old talks about meeting princesses nearly every other day. Need to go back to see a parade in the sunshine. But! There was plenty to do to stay out of the rain!

Criminal

By Nicola L |

3rd time of coming with 3 different kids in 20 years, every experience the same, huge build up to come full of excitement, get here and have to line up for hours, yes hourrrs! Total killjoy. If you want to be treated like an ant and line up for hours, totally bored, no line entertainment, then hurry and book your ticket! It’s criminal…

For the younger children only

By Mark G |

Still an amazing park, but very crowded and not enough for teens to do to justify the cost and queues.
For younger children still would be an amazing experience.

Still the same magic

By OTR1937 |

Loved Tron. This is now our favorite ride in Magic Kingdom. It was beautifully decorated for the holiday. I was a little disappointed in the Disney staff. They were not as friendly. Also, Disney should upgrade on the technology for the lightning passes. Universal uses photo technology, which is great overall, it was still a magical experience.

The most magical place in the world

By Mario Henrique M |

First time at Disney's Christmas, and one of the best visits we've ever made to Magic Kingdom. Christmas in the most magical place in the world. Adults and children enjoy the same way. Very nice stops, attractions running until after midnight, distribution of cookies and Christmas drinks throughout the park and a climate that only the best park in the world can have. Sorry it only lasted a day.

Simply Magical

By Dom S |

MK was everything we thought it would be and more. Slightly more complicated to get to than the other parks given the need to transfer from the Ticket and Transport Centre (TTC) to the main entrance via mono rail. The mono rail journey is less than 5 minutes and they do come regularly. Getting through TTC security wasn't too painful and moved quite quickly. Tip: its worth getting a physical pass beforehand rather than relying on your phone especially if you have multiple people in your party. We got ours from Disney Springs the day before. Once inside MK is fairly easy to navigate, there are plenty of kid friendly rides. I absolutely recommend getting Genie Plus, this helped with line-ups especially with 10 and 6 year old. The night time fireworks display is stunning and one of the highlights of our trip! Just note that once its finished (~10pm) there is a mass exodus and huge line-ups to get back onto the mono rail and off to the TTC.

Bad Magic Kingdom Experience

By Jennifer M |

It has been three months since our awful experience, and there have been no resolutions. Six of my family members visited the Florida Magic Kingdom on August 10, 2024. The experience was terrible. Our first ride was the Carousel of Progress, which kept getting stuck as it rotated with us. We had to wait it out.

The Space Mountain ride broke down on the tracks. The attendant offered us lightning passes as compensation. But after several frustrated attempts to use them, we discovered we needed prior reservations, which she failed to tell us.

I got stuck inside Space Mountain in the pitch black at night on the People Mover ride. It was scary because I was mostly alone on the ride as it neared closing.

We brought my niece and granddaughter to Magic Kingdom especially to see the Disney characters. They saw none. It was raining but not hard enough for the guests not to walk in it. I asked one of the Guest Experience members working near Tiana's Bayou where to find the Disney characters and she rudely told me to check the map because when it rains the characters do not wander around the park.

We spent all that money for the six of us to go to Magic Kingdom, for our hotel, food, airfare, and a rental car since we live outside of Florida. But to date, there is still no resolution with their guest services personnel. The offer they made us was insulting and now they've refused any further communications.

Therefore it is my mission to warn people. The Florida Magic Kingdom is not all glitz and glamor. Not everyone who goes there has an enjoyable experience. SO BEWARE!

Guaranteed fun for the whole family, amazing. With parades and candy receptions on Halloween, an incredible experience.

Very busy MVMCP

By Emma R |

A very mixed review - after the cost of the holiday and then the added cost for Multi LL ohh and then you want to do a after hours party even more money - but it was a wish to do so we did.
Lines were just as busy as a quiet day - they sell it as you get cookies and cocoa yes you do if you want to wait in line for 40 mins. From what we have been told they are just selling more and more tickets each year meaning it is not the exclusive event you think you are paying for.
Yes the parade and fireworks were incredible as ever and that was the highlight for us.
Just Jack and no Sally but they advertise Jack and Sally and cast members were not telling you just Jack as we probably would not have wasted 45 mins of the night.
We attended the 15th Nov Friday evening party.
Mine train was only 35 mins so that was a positive.
I think you would need to to go year on year to learn the tricks of the trade but for us first timers it was a additional cost that I would not do again for several years.
We had fun but not the experience we had been sold.

My time at Disney World was utterly wonderful. It genuinely went above and above.

By Alicia S |

It was an amazing experience thanks to the thoughtful attention to detail, exhilarating rides, engrossing performances, and welcoming personnel. The mouthwatering and varied meal selections enhanced the amazing experience.

MAGIC

By john.B |

If I had to describe my Disney Magic Kingdom experience in one word, it would be magical. The place really bears his name, because as soon as you walk through the doors, you are transported to another world. Everything is thought out in every detail, whether it is the sets, the music, or even the attitude of the employees who always seem ready to make us live an unforgettable day.

The rides are truly exceptional, especially Pirates of the Caribbean and Space Mountain – classics that have never disappointed. What I also loved was the evening parade with the characters, especially for my blonde, who is a real “princess”. Seeing her smile as she crossed Cinderella or Belle was worth every dollar spent.

However, you have to be realistic, this kind of magic has a price. Between the entrance tickets, the food (which is good but quite expensive), and the souvenirs you can’t help but buy, the budget can quickly explode. Fortunately, the experience makes you forget that side of the story, especially if you plan your day well to maximize time.

In short, Disney Magic Kingdom is a must-see experience, whether for children or adults who still have their hearts set. If you are lucky enough to go, I highly recommend it. Don’t forget to stay for the fireworks at the end of the day – that’s the highlight of the show!

Fantastic Magic Kingdom

By Maria V |

Everything was excellent attractions, the park a unique fun to repeat endless times!!!
The spectacular pyrotechnics shows certainly Top-rated

Still has the Magic!

By Betty |

There are lots to see in this park so we always plan ahead and map out what we want to see and do. First thing is go in the app and reserve a spot on the virtual queue for the Tron ride. We were given an estimated time and we watched for updates because once your group is called you have one hour to get in line. Once we were in line, it was another hour but the ride was definitely worth the wait.
The Pirates of the Caribbean ride has always been one of my favorites. However we were disappointed by an inconsiderate guest this time. She kept doing selfies and videos with her flashlight on so she totally ruined everyone's enjoyment.
The Haunted Castle, Jungle Ride and Small World are classic and still enjoyable. Small World line was the shortest at 30 minutes and Jungle Ride was the longest at 70 minutes. Jungle Ride is fun but they should stop with trying to crack jokes. She tried to make a joke with some New York guests about New York and it did not go well and she didn't even say sorry.
Make sure you stay for the firework show but you do have to camp out at least 2 hours hours early or it will be hard to find an open spot.
Overall it was lots of fun but know to expect crowds and lines.

Holiday Magic Worth It for the Parade, Fireworks & Low Waits 🎄✨

By Traveling By Teresa |

We attended Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and overall had a great time. The highlights were absolutely the décor, parade, and fireworks—they truly made the event feel magical and special. The fireworks alone were worth it and something we’d happily return for. Ride wait times were surprisingly short, which was a huge bonus. The cookie stops were just okay—fine, but nothing memorable or standout. While the treats didn’t impress us much, the holiday atmosphere, entertainment, and low waits more than made up for it. We would definitely do the party again just for the parade and fireworks. 🎄✨

Spectacular at Christmas

By Adriana |

I recommend going sometime at Christmas, everything is decorated and you feel the Christmas spirit. Funnily enough the day we went there weren't that many people.

The name says it all, magical.

By NeyAnderson360 |

Magic Kingdom, a park show, but for the kids, but you know how it is, in adults we also have a lot of fun, it's beautiful, my wife and daughter love, I like a lot too, a dive into happiness, happiness is radiant there, you only think of being happy, the best therapy of all. I highly recommend, we even repeated this park. Negative point, the new fast pass was not cool, (lightning lane) now you pay to be a girl, until then everything is fine, the problem is that you pay and can not mark the same attractions again, they control how many times you go to the attraction, bad that, I hope that one day this changes. The new attraction trone, Russian mountain, very good, congratulations to the developers and Disney for the initiative to move forward with improvements. Travel in December 2024

New LL Pass Not Florida Resident Friendly Save Your $$$

By Erica D |

As a Florida passholder and parent of three, I am deeply disappointed with the new LL system. It is very frustrating and is extremely difficult to modify existing plans. In our case, we were only going to Magic Kingdom from 9 am to 5 pm, and I was not permitted to book my first experience until 10:30 am. Had I known this in advance, I would not have purchased the LL. I spent $27 per person and was only able to use the LL for only Barnstormer and Thundermountain. I had to spend an additional $44 just to ride Mine Train, which was not even available on LL. I was unable to get into the Virtual Queue for Tiana or Tron, and I was unable to book LL for Space Mountain. I will definitely reconsider many of my impromptu trips to Disney with this new system. We go at least 4-5 times a year and spend at least $1,000 every time we go. It seems that allowing Disney Resort overnight guests to book fast passes seven days in advance effectively reserves everything, so your bread and butter business, (Florida residents) are left with the leftovers.

I have never had an issue with LL before, but I spent almost $115 to get on two rides and an additional $44 to get on one more ride. It seems like the new system is not only punitive to Floridians but also makes you pay more for fewer rides. I may not renew my annual pass if this doesn't change. As an Annual Passholder, I often do not plan in advance. Knowing that I cannot get on anything or purchase something the night before that allows me to experience things, makes me feel like the annual pass will not be valuable because by the time I get there, I will not be able to do anything on the more meaningful experiences.

Best Disney Park!

By Daniela Irie |

Wonderful! We went the week before Thanksgiving, so the park wasn't very crowded (which is very difficult at Disney) so we managed to enjoy it very well.
Always arrive early and plan! We watched several videos to get the most out of it (we picked out the toys we wanted to go to previously). Oq had the largest queue was the Russian mountain of Tron (which go a second time, but we couldn't).
Download the app to keep track of queue time and Parade schedules (worth seeing!).
We bought the pipoca pot with $2 refill. We carry a backpack with water and snacks.
Do not miss going to the final show!!! Lindooooo!
I didn't think I'd like the park so much, but it was the most I liked everybody!

We had lunch at Columbia Harbour House restaurant (i ate salmon and fries for $14). I found a great cost benefit considering the prices we see in the parks.

By Conniemama |

First time doing this and we could tell it was a tradition for a lot of families. They dressed in matching Christmas PJs and took lots of pictures. We each got an ornament for our tree. There was hot chocolate and cookies that people stood in line for. It was mainly a fun atmosphere and the parade was magical. They kept the snow falling during the parade. It was great fun.

My Favorite Place on Earth ✨🏰

By Traveling By Teresa |

Magic Kingdom is truly my favorite place on earth. From the moment you walk down Main Street, U.S.A. and see Cinderella Castle, the magic feels real. The attention to detail, classic attractions, entertainment, parades, and fireworks never get old—no matter how many times you visit. It’s a place where all ages can feel like kids again, make core memories, and escape everyday life for a little while. There’s nothing quite like the joy, nostalgia, and pure happiness that Magic Kingdom brings. ✨🏰

Magical place where memories are definitely made.

By Justin R |

Took my gf here. Was magical and well worth the expenses! I’d highly recommend going here with loved ones or children if possible.

Attended the 2024 Christmas Evening event. Entered the park at 1600 hrs. Disney is Disney … it was very very busy, lots of pushchairs and mobility scooters and it did feel quite crowded. Theming was good, ride times short, enjoyed 15-20 minutes of fireworks and of course the Christmas character parade. Tron ride was incredible. This was my first time going … would I return? For €150 no. However, I would recommend.

Just No!

By allison w |

Wow, things have changed! As a lifelong Florida resident I visited WDW several times during my childhood and as a young adult. The last time I visited was 2004 as I really enjoy roller coasters and believe the Busch and Universal parks provide more value (and way cheaper tickets).

As for WDW in 2024, I say no thank you. Gone are the days where you could buy a ticket and feel free to explore the park at your own leisure. Now you need a strategy (and lots of extra coin for Lightening Pass) to get through the day. You will be in and on the Disney app constantly and herding your family through extremely dense crowds from one ride or food pavilion to the next. No time to freely explore or enjoy your surroundings as you will be constantly pushing through that extremely dense sea of people.

Without the ridiculously expensive Lightening Pass, you will wait and wait and wait some more for a two minute ride, some with engineering dating back to the 1960s. And that Lightening Pass there only allows you to select one too tier ride per pass. Good luck selecting Tron and Space Mountain on the same pass.

The food was subpar but not the most expensive theme park food. I believe the other Orlando parks charge more. However, the quality has gone downhill considerably since my last visit. Hot dogs, burgers and chicken strips about sums it up. I seem to remember more variety including some pretty good sandwiches, but these are now a thing of the past.

Lastly, this place just is not as clean anymore, which sucks to say about place that was supposed to and used to sparkle. There were food wrappers on rides, the bathrooms were disgusting, and the dining rooms were atrocious. Food and garbage everywhere and a staff that could care less about cleaning it up. But then what should we expect from a company that wants to pack us in like sardines, strategizes ways to get every last dollar from our wallets, and forgot everything there is to know about their brand and Disney magic.

By Amanda D |

Ah-Mazing experience! No wait times, everything was streamlined; food, rides, entering and exiting the park.
The Boo to You parade, Fireworks and the Sanderson Sisters show was perfectly Not So Scary!
Cast members were courteous, helpful, knowledgeable, super friendly.

Waiting for hours shouldnt be NORMAL

By DOOM |

I love Disney and Disney parks and if empty this park would be five stars for me but these lines and the crowds of people are ridiculous af and its insane that these disney adults are willing to wait 40 minutes for something like the tomorrowland speedway, that being said i do find all of this attractions to be amazing but you should be able to do at the very least 10 of these a day not 5 to 6 if you are lucky. I know that having a genie+ or fastpass makes this easier but its hard to even walk in this park and in all honesty it shouldnt be the norm to wait in line for hours to do a ride that is only 1-3 minutes long. Its still an incredible park thats near perfection in beauty and entertainment but the lack of crowd capacity and insane prices makes this impossible to recommend. attached are some pictures of mold in their newest ride Tron lightcycle run which took more years to make than the new park epic universe yet somehow they cannot upkeep it with the millions they make with the millions of people that invade the park everyday

Magical place

By Andrés Largo |

Loved it, good attractions. Pyrotechnic magic and fire, it is a more familiar park than adrenaline but meets expectations

By Craig D |

Firstly. It’s not cheap. But the longer you play the less you pay.

The park is stunning. So much for everyone. You need two days here.

Don’t just do the rides. Visit every attraction and look at the tours as well

Disney are someone big but also charging big too. But it’s the best place to visit in the world. Should they stop with the extra costs. Of course. But they won’t. But try to forget that and enjoy.

Real Magic

By Vacation J |

Magic Kingdom...There is some magic for sure, mainly only at the end of a long and overly expensive day, at the truly magical fireworks and light show at the iconic castle.

Yes the more you play, the less you pay blah blah, but if you don't live by taglines, the reality is a couple of good rides, some, well a lot of 1980s anamatronic pieces and as your dealing with one of the largest companies in the world, you won't be valued as a guest, you're just another few dollars to them and certainly won't get real value for money... if that bothers you.

If you've chosen to go, you've paid so take what you get and try enjoy it, no point moaning... they don't care, why would they.. have a little rant review and move on.

You won't get the basic courtesy of universal parks and the more modern overall experience they provide.. no nice free water to keep you all cool in disney, but don't worry because disney do good deals on their charges for the air you breathe in their park...you'll end up saving money as you'll be holding your breath all day until the magic finally appears after 9pm.

Also the one of the very few food outlets you will find in the US where fountain refills are not inuded with your meal..

They have your money now so hopefully you got a couple of nice selfies...
Head on to universal now tomorrow and get back to the taglines you love, feel valued again, you'll get more for your dollars... unless you're not bothered with that particular tagline.
MAGIC!!!

By cindy5622022 |

Upon entry to Magic Kingdom my stroller/small push cart was flagged and a supervisor had to come approve it. Brendan came and was extremely rude. The rule they were trying to enforce is ridiculous. Same size as a single stroller. Honestly Disney is not what it used to be. So many cast members are just not pleasant. Long gone are the days of pixie dust and magical experiences. This delayed our early entry and started our whole day off in a negative way. Yesterday when at Epcot, the same stroller/cart was approved very easily and we were in our way…

Then we had a really bad situation on the Seven Dwarfs Mine train with cast member, Makenzie. She created a very embarrassing situation for one the members of our party of 25.

So yea, thanks Brendan and Makenzie for standing out a little worse than the other cast members that we encountered that acted like they work at Six Flags over GA. Next time we will just stay home and visit there. We could have saved THOUSANDS of dollars and experienced basically the same thing. Disney World is only special because of the MAGIC at Disney, which is apparently on its way out…

Very disappointed family at Crystal Palace Character Dining at Magic Kingdom.

By Sandra S |

This review is for The Crystal Palace Character dining at Magic Kingdom. We were all so excited to see Winnie the Pooh and friends at the Crystal Palace. We were a family of 8, but 2 separate bills. It was just a buffet so the waiter, John H., only had to bring us water and clear plates. Because there were 8 of us, we had an 18% mandatory gratuity added on even though 3 of the children were under 3. The cost was $62.00 per adult and $48.00 per child. Robbery!!! John's tip was about $75.00US. We are from Canada. That's about $120.00 Canadian for doing next to nothing for us in 1 hour. Both John H. and J.R. were very impolite to the children and adults. The food was just okay. Not much of an assortment for adult or kids. Not even fries available for kids. Unheard of!!! We purchased the Memory Maker and there were no Photo Pass opportunities available in the dining room. Quite disappointed about this. Overall the experience was very negative for all of us. The children were very good, but waiters were very stern and rude to them. We wished we had saved the money and we could have used it for something else for the children. Would not recommend to others unless you have an extra $300.00 U.S. to throw on the fire. Very disappointed consumer and family.

Lots of people

By parrottdize |

We were at this park the day after the "Super Bowl". This is great for the winners of the game......big party atmosphere for their fans. However, if you don't really care who won, just know you will have to contend with more people than you expected.
As in the other parks, Disney is removing some long time rides. Tom Sawyer's Island is going to be removed.......luckily the day we were there, the ride was open. Just had to walk on that "barrel bridge" and walk through the "caverns" one more time.

Disney will continue to park their parks to the gills

By ShinGokuIAM |

I visited this park on March 26th, and this place was packed before the park was even opened. To enjoy this park to the fullest you'll definitely need to stay on property to get the early admission to the parks. But the Magic Kingdom is an amazing park, didn't have any trouble with riding rides due to my size except for Tron. On Tron they put me in the sitting seat which I enjoyed alot. If I come back to Orlando, I'm just going to have to break down and do 3 days of Disney instead of 2.

Disney Magic at Magic Kingdom!

By mrs_un0 |

Enjoyed a magical day at Magic Kingdom with my son. Managed to get on all the rides we missed from his first visit (Haunted Mansion, etc) and snagged a slot for Tron. The weather was perfect and the park wasn't too crowded.

Most magical place on earth

By Jason S |

It is the most magical place on earth. I enjoy most everything the park has to offer. We were there on a Saturday in June and expected large crowds. The most we waited for anything was 55 minutes and that was space mountain. Big Thunder Mountain was 35 min all day, most of the other rides were between 5 and 25 minutes. My son loves Big Thunder Mountain, for me my first experience at Disney at my first visit in the 80's was Pirates. I has a soft spot for Pirates, and also with Haunted Mansion. Don't get me wrong I love the two bigger coasts as much as anyone but have a soft spot for those two family rides as well.

A mess one pays a lot of money for tickets and they party and run you out of the park without seeing the main fireworks show and the castle

Fantastic park with so many great rides. Special mention to Cast Member Anissa. We first met her Tuesday at the Seven Dwarves early entry by rope drop, and she gave us a great welcome and was so enthusiastic, it made us really happy. We met Anissa again on the Friday on the Seven Dwarves ride and she remembered us which made us feel very special. The Afternoon parade was beautiful. Tiana's Bayou ride is brilliant too. Just a bit of feedback the queue for Big Thunder is so hot, could do with a better system to keep cooler. Overall we had a brilliant 4 days in Magic Kingdom.

Disney time

By Tricia N |

My family and I had a magical time. Even though there were many people, we were able to ride many of the rides. The food was also better that I was expecting.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my family's visit to Magic Kingdom on July 31, 2024.
While the weather began pleasantly, it quickly shifted to heavy rain, causing the closure of all outdoor rides until 9:30 PM. Although some indoor attractions remained open, the overall experience was severely impacted.
I reached out to your customer service team for assistance, hoping for a resolution to our unfortunate visit. Regrettably, I was informed that no compensation could be offered due to the terms agreed upon when purchasing the tickets. This response felt unsatisfactory given the high cost of admission.
The value of our experience has left us disheartened. Given the significant expenses involved, I will likely not consider visiting Disney parks in the future and will instead explore other options such as SeaWorld, which may offer a better experience.
Based on this visit, I would rate Magic Kingdom a 1 out of 5 and cannot recommend it to others seeking a positive outing in the area.
Very expensive for nothing!
We have to pay for car parking!
Also i have to pay fast track!
And other expenses to be paid!

Magical experience!

Truly magical experience that I hope I will be experiencing once again in the future. Would recommend everyone to visit!

Not so magic anymore…

I have always loved Disney and made some wonderful memories there but something has changed ….
Extremely rude staff…park is showing wear…save your money and go to Universal.

Kids will love it, but grown up kids of the 80's and 90's will probably be left disappointed

By wanderer_scotland |

Visited Orlando and Magic Kingdom quite a lot in the late 80's and 90's with my parents, and my last visit was around 2000-ish.

25 years later and I was looking forward to visiting with my family (my wife and two young daughters), and we had done Disneyland Paris a few times.

Being honest, in my mind I always thought the Magic Kingdom was A LOT bigger than Disneyland Paris, but there was a lot of times on our first day that the "wow" factor was just not there for us (even my kids).

Some of the rides are really good, with Tiana's Bayou Adventure maybe not as good as Splash Mountain was back in the day (I was convinced the fall at the end was MUCH bigger!), but still enjoyable and the classic's like Pirates of the Caribbean (again, I was rather disappointed that this is now effectively a Jack Sparrow ride when there was never anything wrong with the original ride), and the Haunted Mansion still as creepy as ever, but Space Mountain was a good ride still.

All in all the time we were there the rides varied from 10-15 minutes, but no matter what time of the day, the newest extreme ride Tron never seemed to be less than 2 hours.

We had the two week Orlando Explorer Pass, and we used it to visit Epcot and Universal than we did to Magic Kingdom.

The night time display is as good as ever, but after a long day you are shattered by this point.

Good to get the monorail into the park from the car park in the morning and the boat back at night (getting back to our car at night was surprisingly fast).

Good tip is to visit Walmart the night before and stock up on Pringles, water (there is water taps, but the water is lukewarm/cold) and sweets, as once you pay the $30 car park fee, the day costs do start to add up and every penny counts when you are there as a family of 4.

Was terrible worst experience in my life

By David S |

Place is terrible stay home save your time and money waited hrs just for one ride no longer about the kids it all about money

By Gustavo Assed |

The real Disney is called Magic Kingdom. Mandatory stop for anyone going to Orlando. Incredible place, thematic and organization. For toys there is no grand focus other than “Tron”. But the experience is amazing.

Great day of fun!

Great day of fun! loved the park, lots of great attractions and good food options. Prices for f&b were fair. Only negative point is the new fast lane through the app.

202409 - Magic Kingdom

By Luis Antonio B |

Visiting the Magic Kingdom is the opportunity to go back in time. The park is very well preserved, with attractions that are innovative at the same time, but also have those classics that do good for everyone. The magic is still present, but at the same time it is worth noting that the staff are no longer so committed, leaving to be desired in some points, such as the simple fact of helping those who visit the so famous park. But it wasn't this time that the magic was broken. Magic Kingdom is worth every minute.

The best of the best 🌟

By Scott |

We absolutely loved our visit to Magic Kingdom — it was everything we hoped for and more! My 7-year-old son was in complete awe from the moment we walked through the gates, and honestly, so were we.
You really need at least two full days to take it all in properly — there’s just so much to see and do. Every corner feels special and filled with Disney magic.
The highlights for us were:
🎢 TRON Lightcycle Run – absolutely incredible, one of the best rides we’ve ever been on!
🚀 Space Mountain – a total classic that never disappoints.
🐸 Tiana’s Bayou Adventure – beautifully themed and so much fun.
⛏️ Seven Dwarfs Mine Train – smooth, family-friendly, and full of charm.
🐘 Dumbo the Flying Elephant – perfect for younger ones (and the nostalgic adults too!).
The staff (Cast Members) were genuinely outstanding – friendly, helpful, and full of positive energy. You can really tell they love what they do and it makes such a difference.
The parades and shows were spectacular – the attention to detail, the music, the costumes – everything felt magical. And the characters were so realistic and full of personality that it genuinely felt like stepping into the movies.
It’s not just a theme park – it’s an experience that leaves you smiling long after you leave. Simply put, Magic Kingdom is the best place ever. If we ever get the chance to go back we will! ✨

Not so magical that...

By Camila Luz |

Even outside the high season the park is very crowded, queues and more queues, the water in the drinking pools is awful (hot and with an awful taste of chlorine), it is not so easy
Buying water.
The staff are not as caring or as friendly as expected.
The attractions meet the expectations.
The fireworks show is really a separate show, but with thousands of people under the rain, it's 40 minutes late.
It takes a lot of will, patience and children to get through this marathon.

Always Makes Me Feel Like A Kid

By Travis G |

I may just be one of those people because I love this place. It's my favorite of the parks. I never went here as a child, I was in my late 30s when I first visited, but it took me right to my childhood and still does.

Whenever I get to the front entrance and walk under the train station, I'm a kid again. It's everything I saw on television as a kid, everything I saw in books and magazines. It transports me right back.

I love that my kids enjoy their own things about the Magic Kingdom as well.

Yes, it's expensive and crowded. You will be waiting in lines. People will just stop walking right on front of you and you'll nearly run them right over. But none of that takes away enough magic to ruin it for me. I love this place.

Great Park, Happy Memories

By Julie Maraccini |

I visited back in April 2023. The park was extremely fun and entertaining. The line to get on the ferry at the beginning of the park was super long and packed, but we weren’t stuck there for more than fifteen or twenty minutes. The ferry was a smooth and generally spacious ride, but we had to be standing because there were no available seats. That’s okay though! The view from the ferry is a great first sight of the parks if you haven’t been before. It feels like you’re being transported into another world. Once in the parks, I suggest having a mist fan and some cold water on you at all times, especially in warmer months. There are places with some shade, but there isn’t as much seating as you’d think, especially because it’s a busy park. So be prepared and know your landmarks; bathrooms, food, shade, water fountains. The rides were all operational and we got the Disney equivalent of a Six Flags fast pass (I forget the exact name) so we could skip some longer lines. I highly suggest you do the same if you are able. The shows we watched were immersive and entertaining. The ambience was unbearable and unforgettable. I would’ve stayed longer had I prepared better for the weather (which I should’ve, because I lived in Florida at the time. But you live and you learn!). Either way, it is a fantastic day trip or vacation option for solo travelers, but of course it’s better with others - a spouse, coworkers, family, and friends of all ages. If you like Disney, Magic Kingdom is an excellent first place to start!

Chino and Axel are great entertainers!

The time at the silent concert was muy bien! Chino and Axel was very entertaining and kept the crowd engaged!! Highly recommend!!

Wish we hadn't bothered a waste our time and a lot of money

By Julie M |

We visited Tuesday 27th May 2025. For me and my husband our 5th visit having been 2000,2004,2008 and 2010 but the first visit for our grandchildren aged 12 and 8 and was to be their first visit of many ( not now) as Brits travelling all those miles and spending thousands of pounds Magic kingdom it won't be on our list any more . Terrible day queued for 2 hours for Tron as we are about to get on broke down waiting over half an hour for it to be fixed and it wasn't was given a fast pass to return thought OK we will go to space mountain quess what also broke down so goes to guest relations and have to wait in a queue for that eventually gets served and given one fast pass and they act like they are doing us a big favour so we use it for Haunted mansion at which point my 8 year old grandson accidently scans his fast pass twice after the we go on pirates of the carribean (after waiting in line for another 50 minutes) after this we make our way back to tron 3 of my family scan their fast pass and go through of course my grandsons doesn't work so awful cast member keeps him aside even after I explained why and she only let him through when mine scanned by this time it was about 4 o'clock and we had only been on 3 rides we and the kids couldn't wait to get out of there as we left the exit we visited guest relations again and had the misfortune of dealing with another cast member who at one point disappeared while we were at the window speaking to him and had to wait for his return he did put another fast pass on for next day that we didn't use because didn't want to return but the most shocking thing was he put the blinds down at the window before we even stepped away. When did your cast members become so rude never used to be. On future trips to Orlando we will keep to universal and sea world much better

The 3 day pass was sold under Magic Kingdom experience

By Lurlene Allen |

Trip advisor failed on this particular sale. We arrived to start our vacation only to find their 3 park Magic Kingdom
Pass did not include the magic kingdom. We had to purchase other tickets through Disney. Such a scam. I’m going to fight for my money back or some kind of refund. If it was a 100.00 it would be different. But 823.00 is unacceptable for tickets we can’t use with our special needs daughter.

The classic of the classics

By Ruanna Lemos |

Wonderful, for all ages! I love to go to Magic Kingdom, it's the authentic Disney park. For those who go in the Christmas season, I suggest buying the ticket corresponding to the stop. We left to decide the day before, and the differentiated tickets were already exhausted. Looks amazing. The thematic decoration looks beautiful.

Delay upon delay

By Tommy C |

Horrible service at TRON RUN. Delay upon delay and no real info. Noone seems in charge. The largest roaller coaster was also cancelled.

Not worth the extra expense

By 317jille |

After the hype around this despite the inflated cost we decided to give it a try. I was extremely disappointed as we were led to believe that the number of people in the park would be limited. The crowd levels felt like a normal day that we experienced during our trip. The trick or treat candy stops had long queues and in the end we decided it wasn't worth the wait.
We were really looking forward to the themed parade and admittedly it wasn't Disney's fault that it rained earlier in the day but we did not get to experience the headless horseman which was one of the main reasons we opted to attend.
The experience and interaction of the parade was very dependant upon where you were viewing it from.
The fireworks also were a disappointment as we were advised that we would have a good view wherever we were. Not true.
In my opinion it is not worth the extra cost for the experience.

Best disney park

By Dee R |

Most iconic Disney theme park. If you have to choose only one, this is it. We have been coming here for about 19 yrs. Make sure you have your most comfortable shoes and preplan everything.

Much of the bad team!

By Flavia B |

The park is amazing, but a large park of staff working in the park needs to improve a lot, the magic they forgot at home! Some are stupid in negotiating with people...

Beautiful day

By Moni'S |

We basically had a nice day. There is a lot to experience here. But right in advance: Exciting roller coasters are not available at Magic Kingdom. Beautiful scenery and fun for the kids yes, but for action you have to visit other parks. Our daughter is 7 and of course loved the Ariel ride and the "audience" with Rapunzel. We've seen very few Disney characters in the park. You have to line up for the princesses. Also for the latest ride, the waterway must be reserved via the app and will then be informed when you can queue. That was quite ok, but should be done early because we were only at about 19:15. Other rides were also nice. But just nice and the mix is missing, between some adrenaline and quiet rides. Food in the park was not cheap now, but not as expensive as expected. Ice cream $6.50, fries $5, HotDog $12. There are drinking fountains in many places where you could also fill up your water bottles well, but the water in the fountains also got warm during the day, so we bought drinks after all. Conclusion: For us, as not sooo big Disney fans, the $672 admission for 2 adults and 2 kids with 11 and 7 (we only booked one day, which was enough for us) was too much. But everyone must have this experience themselves. We would visit another park next time. Overall, it was still a nice, varied day, the children also enjoyed it.
