Amazing set up! One side resorts and restaurants the other side turquoise water and the beautiful south beach! This is well taken care of, seems safe, and wider for more volume of skaters, walkers, runners, etc! Loved it. Could do without the self propelled scooter folks, but hey it's still nice.

Miami Beach Boardwalk runs all along the Ocean. You can start your walk near Ocean Drive and 15th Street at the Starbucks. After you've had your morning cup of coffee and your dog has received a treat, run towards the beach and turn left onto the paved path. I'm sure there are many places where Fido can enter into the sand and ocean. I know along Ocean Drive and Fifth I couldn't bring my dogs to walk along the shoreline. Near 67th and Collin's Ave they are welcomed. People do rollerskate and bike along the path so keep your dog on the leash. It is a lovely boardwalk to enjoy at anytime of day but especially in the mornings.

A well-maintained stroll along the beaches. Despite being so close to a major city, we felt as though we were in a pretty chill area. Worth the time if you have it to spare.

Went out during the day and night to walk and longboard. The boardwalk was very clean and the people using it were very polite.

We loved riding our bikes there during our visit to Miami Beach. It was really a very pleasant moment that I recommend to everyone. Nice view of the beach, the pretty colorful lifeguard huts, but also of the art deco district.

It's a busy boardwalk but very convenient! And the views are exceptional. Easy to get around South Beach via this well lit walkway and explore the best restaurants & music along the beach.

Number of homeless people living on Miami Beach is ever growing but still like the place and vibe. Not sure if the locals even see the homeless anymore.

Worth a visit! Walk or ride bike end to end.
If you do this early in your trip you’ll get restaurant ideas & maybe see celebrities, like we did!

It's great if your down by the beach, a nice place to take a stroll. What would make it better was if there was a guide to the many places to eat along the way that are perpendicular to the beach...use your phone map device. But again, many people work out by running or biking on the boardwalk, many take a stroll and there are some parks and the like to hydrate and use the facilities.

Miami beach boardwalk is a must stretches from 46th street to 5th a combination of wooden boardwalk and paved area with exits to all streets off it and it is parallel to the beach best time early morning or evening as it can get very hot (tip make sure you have a hat and water) as there were no places we saw on the beach selling drinks you have to come away from it into town to get a drink.

Sublime. Unforgettable on foot or by bike, no need to say more in fact. Must-see, one of the best walks in the world.

Well set right in front of the beach and connected to the City through regular small side ways. You are not alone whetehr in the morning for Jogging or afternoon Biking - it is fun. Plenty of People around and here and there performaing artists. It is a great way to get to know Miami Beach from north to south!

Can’t always see the ocean from there and it’s a bit narrow compared to other boardwalks but it can be fun on a nice day

Nice path with plenty of benches and even water fountains along. We only went from about 18th street to the pier and there were quite a few public bathrooms along the way. A couple play areas, muscle gym, people selling their crafts; it is an enjoyable walk. Well lit at night and very sunny during the day. Not a lot of shade so plan accordingly.

If you don't feel like walking on the beach itself, this is great alternative. It runs parallel to the beach, ending at South Pier, which has great views back over the city and an excellent cafe and play area. One of the only places to get refreshments this close to the beach.

Great trail for walking and riding bikes. Seems to be well maintained and easy access to every street..some hotels offer bar service to public as you will see sandwhich signs along the way.

Lovely way to see the sights and get fresh sea air. Only downside are the loads of bike riders , some of whom go way too fast and are quite dangerous. Crowded at weekends. At the North End it is supposed to be bike free but they ride anyway. - cyclists never think rules apply to them, 😡

It is mostly a mode of transportation but nice to walk to look at hotel pools/the beach/ people watch.

An excellent way to take in the picturesque views, get freaks air, and exercise all at the same time! Connected to all the hotels, you can access the boardwalk to get to the beach or to simply stroll! You need a key add to access most hotel properties!

My husband and I spent a week in Miami last year and we walked the boardwalk everyday and we enjoyed all the moments we spent there! Way to go Miami: we loved the city and re-felled in love with it, the Miami Botanical Gardens ar wonderful as well,

Best boardwalk!!! Goes on forever! Leads you to the beach and restaurants! Great for running, walking, people watching!

Great place to spend the evenings wondering around and people watching. There are sometimes people selling little trinkets where you can pick up little souvenirs.

It was a nice area to walk and enjoy the beach. However the NO Bikes Allowed was not followed. Almost crushed twice by bikers.

A beautiful deck to walk along and people watch In the day time but at night it’s very dark with very little visibility.

This is a unique boardwalk. We walked right into it through the pool gate from our hotel when we crossed it to go to the beach. One has to watch out for the bike riders because they speed by. If walking on the sandy beach is not favorable you can walk on the boardwalk😊 it is very clean and the trees provide some protection.

shaded in multiple areas and a nice way to traverse the expanse of beach without the noise of nearby streets or having to trudge in the sand

A great facility for the energetic or for a gentle stroll, bit annoying that despite signs people will still cycle on it ! There are some homeless people in places but we have never been bothered by them, they are always polite. Some people sell coconuts to drink but it's generally walkers and runners out and about.

Fantastic shared path. Clean, wide, 2 lanes. Passes the rear hotel entrances, and the entrances to the beach. We cycled along here, nice and flat.

Hoping you fresh coconut water on the Boardwalk...please like and follow #deezcoconut on Instagram for more photos of the Miami Beach Boardwalk!

Miles of beautiful views running parallel to a well groomed and beautiful beach. Travesed it morning an evening on foot and on bike and didn't feel for once we were over doing it. Runs mostly parallel to Collings drive and Ocean drive and through the best Miami-beach/South-Beach has to offer. Drag yourself out of bed for an early morning walk and then pause to soak in the sun-rise.

This flat boardwalk, actually bricks and cement, runs along a large length of the Miami Beach area. It is great for walking on but is heavily used by cyclists which spoils the experience a little - some of their behaviour is quite intimidating and frightening. There seems to be little enforcement of the rules banning motorised means such as e-scooters and e-bikes. There are also anti-social users who play their own music loudly and publicly while they cycle/run/walk. But it is free, well-maintained and great for looking at the sea and hotel/apartment blocks. Sadly there are very few places to sit for a rest. A few benches would have been very welcome. Sundays, particularly mornings, are best avoided.

Beautiful and well maintained walk just off the beach! There is a lot of morning activity, but a great way to start the day.

Stunning whimsy and magic of Lalanne sculpture at the Raleigh Gardens (18th Street at the Beach, off Collins).
In a setting of perfect harmony, a lush tropical jungle paradise, the animal bronzes amaze and stun in their beauty, the precise yet whimsical renderings of flora and fauna.
A perfect respite. A perfect stroll. A perfect meditation. Not to be missed.
Monumental Botero bronzes line Lincoln Road. A opportunity to see an exhibition of the great Colombian sculptor.

Lots to do and see here . Relaxing yet lots to keep busy people busy . Plenty of dining options and activities for all ages

Excellent place for a stroll, lots of people running and jogging but plenty of room for all, paved sections you can cycle on but the actual boarded sections you cant, was just nice to walk along so close to the beach and watch the world go by

We love this first we walked one way all the way to the end then we grabbed bikes and rode back from the citi bikes rack. Loved it!We would really recommend doing it this way Walk it grab a bike ride back. I'm not an avid biker it's an easy easy ride.

The beach walk is a great place to walk around and check out those beautiful hotels right next to the beaches.

i think is one of the best things about Miami ,you can bring the whole family and the dogs. When you see a beach just stop you may want to have a towel

Grab a coffee and stroll down the boardwalk for nice ocean views and interesting people watching🤗 You’ll see it all!

It's worth taking a stroll down the boardwalk. We were out of season, so it was lovely and quiet. Bikes are not allowed and lovely to be able to see the ocean.

After visiting Miami beach a few times, on every visit we have a long walk along the board walk. This year we decided to bring our running gear so we could enjoy the board walk whilst exercising. One of my favourite areas of Miami beach

I have enjoyed walking up and down as much of the boardwalk as I can over the last couple of days. I also hired a citi bike today and that was just as enjoyable if bumpy in places. Be warned, they have stripped out the wooden part of the boardwalk and it’s being replaced. Everything from about 30th street and north (maybe a little south of that) is inaccessible and you end up having to go onto the main road in places.

It was a wonderful experience walking along the side walk in Miami Beach. Lot of people skating, biking, running or just walking. Love it!!!

The Miami Beach Boardwalk is a nice place for strolling along the beach, surrounded by palmes and flowers, perfect walking both in daytime a in the evening.

Unfortunately the access from our hotel was under construction as well which we were not made aware of either. We picked the hotel for that reason to access the boardwalk easily for morning biking.

This is a good space...a short cut to the beach from many hotels, and shops. It runs a long way all along the beach, it’s a short cut to many places as you don’t have to avoid the people and cars on the pavements and roads. Its quite busy, as everyone uses it, quite safe, but watch out for bikes, they love it too.

This boardwalk stretches for many blocks and is a great way to walk on the beach without getting sand on your feet. It's between the beach and the backs of hotels/condos along Ocean Drive and Collins Ave. Great way to explore all the hotels and go for a nice long walk.

This is a well maintained feature running north and south in front of the hotels and next to the beach. Well kept clean and safe. Lots of people enjoying the benefits of this amenity every day all day

The beach boardwalk offered an amazing view of the ocean as well as palm trees and some shade. We loved that you could just keep walking..

would have enjoyed the board walk so much if had not had to be so aware of all the fast bike riders.

Clean, exciting, lots to see and certainly a ‘happening’ place. Whatever you want from a beach this place has it. From the exotic, beachfront eateries and hotels that epitomise the style and art-decor grace of a bygone era, to the endless sand and sea for those who like it natural. Wonder at the people, walk in the surf, enjoy a cocktail at the bar. Do it. 😎

Very Beautiful part of the trip great way to get to the beach and then great entrance to Fontainbleau.

Board walk is only open in one small section around 36th street. Closed at 41st street for certain. I was told it opened up down around 24th street down in South Beach.

Great!!! But we could not use it. No E-bikes allowed. The city probably set the rules because too many E-bike riders ride too fast!

This is a very well-kept boardwalk that runs alongside Miami Beach. Plenty of room for bikes and pedestrians, and it is swept and clean. There are public water fill stations and public places to wash your feet off, after a day at the beach, but the best part is that all of the intersections are incredibly well marked on the actual boardwalk floor. See photo. So if you are looking for 41st Street, for instance, you just can’t miss it.
This means if you are looking for a restaurant along Collins Avenue, and you have a bit of a stroll, you can just take the boardwalk without fear of missing your intersection.
Furthermore, as a single woman I felt very very safe.

A great boardwalk right on the beach with great views. Try to go on off hours as it could be crowded which makes it less enjoyable.

It was really great walking around not a lot of people walking in that bridge. Probably because of the pandemia that is going around right now and the curfew that Miami is having now.

Davon was such an amazing beach attendant. He made sure everyday we stayed at fountain Bleau and was on the beach we were good . Great attitude , nice smile , and just all around a great guy. He made sure we had were well taken care of. MAKE SURE U ASK FOR HIM ! if ur ever there . Take my word for it he’s awesome and loves what he does .

Great way to walk along the beach without getting sandy. I'm also one of the bicyclists, but finally got a bell for the crazies. If everyone keeps to their areas, it's fine, but some seem oblivious. Nonetheless, great way to walk north and see all the hotels, south all the way to south pointe. I'm staying in South Beach. It's mostly actually smooth stone rather than boards, but worth it anyway.

It’s a great way to start your day!! Take a walk rent a bike or go for run. Safe and beautiful. Watch out for the bikes they hit there horn just more over. Worth it everyday

We went there as a friends group on our vacation and it was more than beautiful and chill. This is a perfect spot to enjoy in Miami.

There are really 2 sections of this - the northern part - of which I saw only a little and would be better for thoughtful reflection and where, in theory, bikes are not allowed - and the sourthern paved portion which starts around 23rd st. I walked that, down to South Pointe - where there's a jetty in addition to the pier, and you can walk pretty far out on it. No one seems to stop you, though common sense halted me at a point somehwere between the first and second 'sunflowers' (but there was someone further out). Along the way are a craft/refreshment section or two. Having done two miles, and facing an expiring meter, I was very please to find a city bike station at South Pointe, and so became one of the bike parade on the way back. It's really pretty considerate. View of the deco disctrict waterfront at night are pretty - neon!

Nothing like it in the world. With most greedy ignorant city planners and corporations building revenue producing space right up to the waters edge, Miami Beach is a rare exception. Nestled between the beach, a natural beach erosion prevention area and the hotels lining Collins, this walkway allows the entire area to breathe, and is a must do!

Dont go to Miami Beach without a nice boardwalk run. Partly being renovated but still very nice. Lots of people especially in the Art Deco area but worth it

The city completed additional sections this year. One can now walk or bike from South Pointe Park to 45th Street and soon it will connect up to 79th! The bricks/pavers that have replaced wooden sections, allow bike riding. I walked or road parts of this (and the Baywalk) almost daily.

I started the bairdwalk down at South Point Park and took it until it became paved and then ended at Lummins Park. It's well lit at night.
Great for walkers, joggers and even strollers. Several beach access points too.

Beautiful walk. The water is beautiful. It is worth a visit. My teens loved it! Only complaint is often you walk through a plum of cigarette smoke (but such is life I guess).

Great walks on this wooden path. Showers are nearby and lights are all along the way so at night is no problem. Bicycles are mostly not allowed. Shade is available regularly.

I love how Miami has not cut off access to nature/decent walking areas by the beach. I have been at a number of coast cities where beaches are blocked off by hotels and condos with no buffer zone for the public. Miami did it right by ensuring everyone can access and connect with nature and not just the rich or vacationers. Kudos to you Miami. Love the boardwalk and the fact it goes on for miles.

I would highly recommend the beach walk when the weather's good. You will absolutely love it. Even if you are alone, you would like the walk.

Other than the feral cats one might encounter, the ability to get around and not have to walk the street was very pleasant. Plenty to foot and bicycle traffic made it feel very safe day or night.
Well maintained and lit at night. Easy enough to dodge one block in and be on Collins. Great access to the beach, street and hotels. People watching was fun, as you would see just about all walks of life.
Plenty of runners and people just strolling. Super fun!

Overall the boardwalk is a nice way to get around miami beach without being on the beach literally but also not being on the streets hotel side. Minus a few smelly areas or literal trashy areas, it's a great project Miami did for tourists.

We walked along the Boardwalk from South Point Park to Lummus Park and the Art Deco District. It was a great to see the beach and ocean while staying off the sand. It is another great public amenity in South Beach that makes the area perfect for visiting.

We walked from mid to south beach then jumped off to the shops. Excellent for walking or jogging however you do get the occasional cyclist so be careful as they do sometimes have a tendency to be quite fast.

The boardwalk has been here for so long and it’s very sad that they are ripping up the last of it and replacing it with interlocking. I understand the upkeep must be a lot but the original Boardwalk will be missed by many.

walking path was a bit too small and you have half of the side as bike lanes. too many bikes rushing by so you have to be careful walking there.

I walked on the Miami Beach Boardwalk every day during my visit to Miami Beach (four days). It was my favorite place in Miami Beach. I experienced the Miami Beach Boardwalk in the morning, mid-day and late afternoon. Two of the days I walked from 46th Street to South Pointe Park which is 4.5 miles and then I walked back to 22nd Street. The boardwalk was very busy with walkers, runners, bicycle riders. There were many photo ops. It is a great place to go to during a visit to Miami Beach.

Unforgettable trip to Miami . We flew from Europe for a week's vacation in Miami , because of the time difference I always woke up very early and ran along the promenade . Nice scenery, great path for running.

The boardwalk spans a long distance in Miami beach and is a mix of pavers and wooden walkways. It is very wide in some portions. Great for morning runs in Miami Beach!

I didn’t know much of the boardwalk was under construction (Feb 2021) which would have altered my choice of which area to stay in. When it is completed, it’s a great path to walk with amazing views of the ocean.

I wish bicycle riders wouldn’t ride so fast! They made me nervous. It’s like walking on a busy highway. It’s not actually a boardwalk (there are no boards), but a lovely sidewalk that you can walk on along the beach between the hotels and the beach.

Loved the beach boardwalk in Miami. It goes on for miles and is in pristine condition. There are sections under construction, such as up by 24th street, but the bits I walked were lovely and full of walkers, joggers, cyclists, roller bladers and all manner of ages. It’s well maintained and super clean.

A very fun stroll but watch out for all the people on wheels! They go fast and won't look out for you. There are signs all over no wheels but no one to enforce and no one on wheels care. Fun to stroll and get some beach time in!

I walked along the boardwalk every day of the week that I stayed in South Beach. The path is nice and smooth, busy with lots of people walking, running, roller blading, and biking. The path is windy and goes from Ocean Drive, to the beach, and back, several times.

Beutiful walk in a garden trail by the beach, recommended during sunset. Its not a must, but if you fancy a nice walk, that's the place

Extremely disappointed on this visit. We have been here before and it was one of the reasons for choosing Miami Beach as a destination.
WARNING - there were so many electric bikes, scooters, etc. whizzing by that we felt unsafe walking there. Several came way too close to us for comfort, so we didn't walk there again. Just crossing from our hotel to the beach area was hazardous. The signs say "no electric vehicles" but it was clearly not being enforced.

From the boardwalk you can enjoy very beautiful site of Miami and it gives you very good experience to be in the sea. .There a very good walking paths and you can also walk there through the beach.

Very colorful beach
and
nice several hotels @Miami
Old collection car
Multiple choice for shopping !

A great exercising boardwalk in a tropical setting, fab views of the beach and retro lifesaving towers.

This walkway next to the beach, several kilometers long, has been extended and improved. The sections built in wood were replaced, where it was not possible to circulate by bicycle, and now it is totally "bike friendly"

Miami Beach Board walk runs for miles. We love to walk it from south beach and head north. Lots of bikes , joggers and dog walkers.

While staying at the Fontainblu hotel, every morning I took the boardwalk down to South Beach. Walk is well maintained and is a popular attraction. Once you get to South Beach it’s back in time to Miami Vice. Then I would back to the hotel up Collins Avenue. I waiting to see Sinatra in one of the bars

A great brisk walk for any day. Plenty of people always jogging, running, biking, walking, to and from the beach but also just along the boardwalk. Nice landscaping and some great views of the beach, the condos and other places that run along the water, and some incredible natural plant life that grows back from the beach.

This was my second time visiting Miami Beach, and a it was very pleasant walk. I bought cup of coffee and took a morning stroll on the boardwalk for about a mile and half, enjoying the sun. The boardwalk's vicinity to the South Beach made the walk much convenient. This is a great way to see the beach, see the ocean, enjoy the sun, and people watch. Lots of people, both local and tourists take the boardwalk for jogging. For me the Miami Beach Boardwalk adds to the Miami Beach experience, it's a good way to see what there is to do in town.

the boardwalk is a cool way to walk and see sea grapes and other fruits growing it also shows you all the hotels and feel the vibe of each hotel as you walk pass. the boardwalk says no bikes but i saw plenty of people riding their bikes. i enjoyed my afternoon stroll down the boardwalk even though the weather wasnt great it was enjoyable thing to do and i could help sing the song down on the boardwalk we be having some fun.
if your in miami and staying local why not visit.

Had a great time walking on the boardwalk. Nice place for couples and family. A few parks are on the way and there are public rest rooms.

It's a terrific place for all types of exercise. There are walkers, joggers, cyclists, and roller bladers traveling across this mostly flat surface. Many beach access points along the way and it goes for miles.

I enjoyed the walk but I was surprised no WC along the way and only one pricey snack bar...I started around 28th street

Great way to just stroll along for a walk or a jog with still seeing the awesome views of the beach !

We liked it so much we did it twice! Wide path, clean, great for people watching and just strolling and enjoying the beautiful weather. Every beach town should hame one of these!!

This is a great pedestrian walkway. Great for a stroll with your better half. Highly recommend. Very scenic.

Seems to go from South Beach as far North... We only walked part of it. Wide, cobblestone pathway along edge of beach dunes.

I and my wife loved this space as we spent a week in South Beach, we strolled along the boardwalk at moonlight romantic!!
Just looking out at night or even during the day at the lovely white sands was breath taking highly reccomend it!!

Lovely place for a stroll or run. Very relaxing. Beautiful scenery. Enjoy the atmosphere and take in the setting. Can get windy.

From 6000 Collins to the end of South Beach, the walk is paved, well-maintained by city employees, & washed daily. Even though dogs are plentiful, some are not on leashes. Good thing dog poop is not an issue. Police officers on ATVs patrol the area making it safe. From 15th street North to the 6000 block is 2 hours. Half an hour South to the point.

Really loved our walks here just really nice and relaxed and so well manicured.
The walks are fantastic we walked all the way to the south pier and the views were spectacular

This is the right place to exercise in Miami ... the place to be seen and enjoy nature and the ocean breeze

No amenities - just a wooden walk surrounded by shrubbery and sand. Not Coney Island or Wildwood boardwalks.

This thing goes on for quite a ways. Nice entrances to all of the different beach sections and easy access to a lot of the resorts. It is well taken care of and easy to navigate. We started in the Art Deco district (Cresent Hotel) and walked north till we got tired. Be advised, watch the blind corners. The are some people riding bikes and scooters really fast. We saw two pretty good collisions. Take care especially if your pushing a stroller.

My husband and I took a bike ride along Miami Beach in the early evening, and I would definitely recommend! We did on an early Friday evening, and although it was very busy, the pathways were large enough to comfortably ride and still leave enough room others. Walkers, runners, and even a woman on roller skates pushing a stroller, it is accessible to everyone! Don't forget to stop by Muscle beach to check out the almost full outdoor gym and gymnasts!

This place goes right along the beach at the back of the hotels. It’s a great contrast one side the beach and ocean and on the other side you have the different hotels all playing different music and different atmosphere. Really good just to stroll along and relax.

This boardwalk is a super popular activity for locals as well as tourists. It begins at South Pointe Park by 5th and goes all the way up to Surfside. I enjoy walking my dog along the paved pathway along the Atlantic Ocean. There are people of all ages and physical capabilities. One side is the ocean and the other side fronts all the beautiful hotels, restaurants, and shops. It's a must see in Miami Beach/South Beach. And there is no fee to do it.

If you just wish to stop time and walking around from north beach to south beach, with some stop to have a drink in hotel terrasse, that's the place to be...

You can see the back of beach hotels on one side, the beach on the other. People biking, jogging, families, couples....very nice. Walked in the day because of Spring Break curfew,)

For a beach side walk, this is one of the prettiest. Enjoy the lush plants, paved and clean walkway, and easy access to the sand or to Collins Ave.

The boardwalk connects all of the hotels in one pathway to the beach. It is very lush and green and kept very clean. No bikes are allowed on the walkway.

I revcently stayed at Eden Roc and then down on Ocean Drive, and it was great to be able to use the boardwalk for biking. I don't know how many miles it goes in length, but it seems like it is a least 5-10 mile from the southernmost point of South Beach.

Every morning we came for a quick walk, very well maintained, beautiful vegetation and very early in the morning we were almost alone

Great spot to go for a morning or evening walk.
Lots of activity (biking, walking, running, rollerblading, dog walking), well lit and clean. Multiple water fountains were at spots along the boardwalk (I only saw one spot with a public bathroom and did not see any benches). Most of the walk was in direct sun. There were short pathways to the beach every 30ft or so. Enjoyable and didn't cost anything.

Great place for a stroll, it’s flat and there are lots of points for beach access if you want to see the colourful lifeguard huts.

The views aren't anything to note as you are typically blocked by the dunes and can't see the water, but otherwise, this is a nice break from whatever else you are doing in Miami Beach.

grab a coffee, stroll on the boardwalk near the SLS, Edition, and Palms...simple and easy way to start the day

This boardwalk is beautiful, well maintained, busy, but safe. Lots of runners, walkers, bikers, families. There are public restrooms along the way. Convenient restaurants right off the boardwalk too.

Beautiful and safe walkway day or night. During the day this is a great walking or running path. At night it’s well lit and has families still walking around after 11 pm back to hotels. Well lit at night and we felt safe

Recently vacationed in MIami Beach and we walked on the wonderful board walk which was recently extended. You benefit from being on the beachfront which is lovely. Great place to get some exercise and enjoy the wonderful view of the Ocean

The Beach boardwalk is a seven-mile oceanfront pedestrian promenade designed for joggers, cyclists, and anyone out for a scenic seaside stroll to enjoy.

You can walk for miles, with the golden beach only yards away, just the other side of the trees, with lots of gaps with steps to get onto the beech, which goes for miles and miles

No matter what is on your mind, once you take a nice stroll along this path, you will feel so much better! Whether it’s for a few minutes or more, this path, the sound of the waves crashing onto the beach, the sun(hopefully) and the palm trees will for sure help to clear your mind for the time being. I always love to walk along this path for however long I can while I’m in this area on Miami. It’s very clean and safe.. ENJOY

Such a great place to start your morning or end your evening, cycling, strolling, rollerblading etc.

Love the board walk. Away from the noise and traffic and right near the beach. You can go for a long walk or ride your bike. It’s clean, flat and safe.

Easy way to get around if for some reason you don't want to walk on the beach. There are some shaded areas which make it great if running. Always felt safe, day and night.

We rented bicycles from Ocean Drive in the morning,. It was fun. From time to time we stopped and looked at the beach .. We enjoyed having fun while doing sports.

Right by the beach this is a great way to stroll away from traffic. Some repairs going on which spoild it a bit but they have probably finished by now.

The boardwalk grants you access to and from the actual beach all along it, allowing you to walk on either for as long as you want, It is beautifully landscaped with many places to stop for a meal or a drink along it. There are facilities at regular intervals making it extremely user friendly. Probably the number 1 attraction in MB - and you can see all the art deco buildings as you amble along.

The boardwalk that runs along South Beach is a beautiful walk. It is well maintained and clean. It is a short walk from many of the hotels and is parallel to the beach itself so you get some great ocean views.

We took a walk on the boardwalk. The weather was great, the view was fantastic and the mood was MIAMI :-)

It is a nice place to walk or run. Bikes are not allowed on the wooden boardwalk. The boardwalk is behind the hotels so you can see the pool and recreational areas of most of the hotels on one side and the beach on the other side. We went on the weekend and there is a lot of people there. There are some places with trees but is mostly sunny and hot, take water with you. I prefer to walk very early in the morning, it is more enjoyable.

Amazing experience. The boardwalk is very nice a mix of greenery and Beach. Lot sof birds and butterflies. Positive vibes where people running or biking or kids playing. In my mind it s a must in Miami

This boardwalk is well maintained and offers a number of shops, cafes and more. It truly makes for a very nice walk amid beautiful scenery.

We strolled at night from the beginning of the boardwalk, near the 1 Hotel. We walked for about 40 minutes and saw amazing condos and outdoor bars and restaurants. It was quiet, perhaps because it was the evening before New Year’s Eve. Highly recommend.

I didn’t even know this place existed, but it was truly amazing. Wish we had one in the UK. Go as soon as possible.

My hotel in South Beach offered bikes so after 20 years I took a chance at biking again. We biked all along the trails which lead to the board walk in one direction and a pier in the other. I was stunned by the pristine, manicured trails and boardwalk. We went each morning after that which was like a vacation of it’s own.

Miami has something to be proud of with this boardwalk. It is a clean, well-maintained, and popular spot that attracts all walks of life. Lots of foot and bicycle traffic with the occasional unicycle and dogs, dogs, dogs.
Miami, like many locations, has a homeless problem and some of these people use the beach showers that are along the boardwalk. We didn't have a problem but some people had what appeared to be mental issues.

Lots of hustle n bustle, shops, etc. Nice weather and restaurants with different foods and drinks. Car shows and fancy rides parked along the streets. Great vibes!!!

This is a fun boardwalk, however; the last time I tried to visit it was gone. I'm not sure if the boardwalk still exists further up or down the shore, but it is no longer present on Collins near Riu. :(

Nice boardwalk to walk around. It is good to see that the boardwalk is in a good shape and it is enough space for pedestrians an bicyclists.

Fun for walkers, bikers, walkers, skaters. Felt safe walking up and down at night alone. Beautiful views of buildings and paths to beach.

You can walk this way all along the beach, or to get to where you're going. Really well maintained but also natural.

The boardwalk is being replaced by a concrete path that will be very nice when completed but is currently under construction above 26th street.

We stayed at the National Hotel and used this boardwalk to walk to Ocean Ave. for lunch twice. It was very nice and very convenient with lots of beach access points. Very nice boardwalk!

We were walking the boardwalk late afternoon concrete shaded and beautiful Was somewhat crowded when we walked so watch out for bicycles, skate board etc. Sone ppl move fast. You will pass the backside of major hotels with all kinds of themes and music. From south beach you can walk a long way put to a pier jetting into the ocean. I am guessing approximately 2 miles.

Clean with great views. Places to sit here and there. The surface is nice and smooth if you want to rollerblade. Well maintained

The beach board walk is gone. But the one they are building bow is sure to please. Looking.forward to the new boardwalk.

We walked the boardwalk every evening. It has adequate lighting, safe, clean and well kept. Very enjoyable.

Love it! It’s embracing the whole Miami Beach and the views are devastating at night and daytime!!!!!

Very good option for running, cycling or walking. It is right on the beach in a tropical environment, the plants are impeccable. In the evening or in the morning there is more movement

We stay on the street parallel to this walk. Yes, it’s a nice, quiet walk between the beach and the buildings. It is even shaded in many places. People walk there, bike there and take babies for walks. Very nice, quiet walk while being close to the hustle and bustle.

If you do not feel like walking on sand but wish to see the sand and sea - then definitely go for a walk on the boardwalk. There is ample shade and you can still get sun too if you wish. The boardwalk is well kept and it is wide enough for multiple walkers. There are no biking signs but there seems to be tourists or perhaps locals leisurely riding bikes on the boardwalk - best to stay somewhat alert during a morning stroll or afternoon walk just in case the bike riders are not paying attention.

Easy to walk with beautiful views of the ocean and lifeguard stands. Bikes were kept separate from the walking path.

Though you can't get on the boardwalk until around 24th street due to construction, once on it, you can stroll all the way down to 1st street. There are plenty of spots to go on to the beach and watch sunrise if you're up early enough, and later in the afternoon, there are lots of waterside restaurants with pretty outdoor seating (though they are set quite a ways back from the water, so view is limited). People were respectful about spacing and letting people through who were running, and in the areas with cyclists, those on bicycles were great about announcing their approach.

Amazing place to get your exercise
Great for older and younger
Flat and good surface
Beautiful views
Not always shaded

My husband & I loved walking the boardwalk in the mornings and it was filled with joggers, bikers, etc...pleasant & very safe. Many entrances to the beach too. Fantastic asset to our Miami experience :)

Lovely time meandering along this pleasant board walk, just need to watch out for the Cyclists, Skateboarders and Roller Skaters that are in an abundance😬lost count of the times they appeared from behind us without a sound. We walked from 17th St to Ocean Drive with its Art Deco hotels and restaurants.

Lovely to walk up and down the boardwalk. Wooden slats, some nails stick up, so watch your feet. Also used by cycles, so extra care needed.

Always nice to go for a walk on the boardwalk, along this famous beach. It’s almost always very hot and humid, so plan accordingly and hydrate yourself. Watch out for birds pooping on you from the trees as you pass under them. Nice views of the pools and backs of all the hotels and resorts and clear, beautiful views of the beach and ocean. Something we do each time we come to Miami!

We cant give this walk enough high grades and it is being more and more developed over the years which us great. Walking, running, biking, strolling, socializing and more. Must be a health factor of immense value as well.

Wake up early and get out to the Miami Beach Boardwalk. You’ll be so thankful you did! The Boardwalk is clean and beautiful, the view is breathtaking. Take extra pictures!

The path was absolutely beautiful and clean. Must beware of bikers but it's plenty wide for everyone to stay safe. Nicely shaded too.

Took a boardwalk walk pre dinner from Cadillac Hotel and stopped at rear of Faena Hotel (7 minutes ) to see the gold covered life size Mammoth encased in glass air conditioned case as presented by Damien Hirst 😍😍😍😍. Amazing art!

The Miami Beach Boardwalk is a pedestrian friendly boardwalk that allows you to walk at your leisure and take in the beach and ocean views or stop at a restaurant along the way to enjoy a nice meal or drink. Very clean walk. There are public restrooms along the way. Gives you a great walking experience and you don’t have to worry about vehicles.

Never had such a big boardwalk to play with before. You can walk all the way from South Beach to North Beach (we were based in the middle). It was so much nicer than walking the roads and if you get tired of walking you can always get the free trolley bus up Collins Avenue.

Highly recommend this boardwalk. It has a nice wide path that is great for walking, biking, rollerblading, etc. Lots of seating areas for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. Well maintained and clean. A must do if visiting Miami Beach.

Nice. Watch out for cyclists, though. They are traveling entirely too fast. A good place to watch the sunrise without having to actually get in the sand.

The walk is well laid out and accessible from many streets. Great place to people watch. We saw bikers and rollerbladers. You can peek into the luxury hotels as you walk or go out to the beach on the other side. We walked at midday and there was little shade.

Beautiful place for hiking, running or cycling. It is located bordering the entire beach, it is very well maintained, the tropical vegetation will compare you all the way.

One of the best running streets (especially early in the morning) I've ever tried.
In the middle of the greenery, without cars, next to the ocean.
In addition, every few meters there are fountains to quench your thirst.
Very well maintained land, impossible to stumble.
Well lit in the evening and early morning.

The boardwalk is a great way to get around, without using the regular streets. Renting a bike is even better! So much to see… The boardwalk is wide, for walkers and bicycles. plenty of sidewalk breaks to get you back over to the main streets. Very clean with plenty of wall space, to sit, if you need a break. Most beach hotels have boardwalk access.
Down by Ocean Drive there are playgrounds, volleyball, and workout equipment, on the boardwalk. Lots of beautiful park area, to sit and watch, or enjoy a little picnic.

Easy and level walking path for all fitness levels. Safe and well maintained. Beautiful views of the beach and it goes for miles!

There are cycle paths all along. Walking, cycling, Segway, skating... Lots of possibilities in addition to the beach to cool off. Little seaweed and picturesque beach.

Needs so much work , it’s dirty so much trash. Home next time I’ll be cleaner and all the construction done.

My wife and I spend a week in Miami Beach in November 2022. Each morning we went out walking on the Boardwalk (now Beachwalk?). We walked almost end to end over the time we were there. The walk is beautiful and well kept. Even in November the sun is very strong here even in the morning, so put on some sun screen and bring a hat for those areas that are not in the shade! The walk is paved the entire way. It meanders toward the South Beach end and is fairly straight from around 21st to the north. There is enough space on the walk to handle the crowd, at least when we were on it. The only thing (as mentioned by some other reviewers) is the BIKERS. They either cannot or do not read the "slow" signs aimed at them. We were essentially run down a few times, so keep an eye out for them. There are a couple of bathroom facilities along the way, but they are spread out. Overall a good experience and would go back every day like we did on this trip. I very much recommend it and commend Miami Beach for keeping in good shape.

The Miami Beach Boardwalk is something that everyone should spend some time at if visiting the area. My mother and I love going for walks here every morning we are in town. It’s a great place to walk around for fun or for exercise. A lot of people exercising, especially in the mornings. Beautiful sigjts as well!

So I stayed at the Palms and was a little confused by this at first, but then I loved it. Miamians were walking, running, biking down it as I crossed over to enjoy an early morning coffee on the beach. More cities should do this, but everywhere aint Miami

Wherever you're staying in Miami Beach, from the Art Deco iconic neighborhood up to almost Hollywood you'll see this boardwalk.
It runs along the entire beach, parallel to ocean. Many joggers on it, but it's also great for just a leisure stroll. Beware of bycicles, many of them although prohibited.

My husband and I had been using the streets to walk back and forth from our hotel to restaurants and different attractions. Once we found the boardwalk went everywhere we wanted to go, we used it. It is beautifully landscaped and you get gorgeous views of the ocean as you walk down (or up). There are people all over strolling and running, riding bikes and exercising. I never felt unsafe at all and enjoyed seeing the hotels and different stretches of Miami Beach. Just for reference, we walked from 25th street to Ocean drive.

My family and I love people-watching, bird and iguana-watching, walking the boardwalk, spending time on the beach, buying souvenirs, and walking the promenade.

We started at Margarita Ville and walked the rest of the strip on a very busy Saturday afternoon. Their were lots of tourist shops to grab a suit if you forgot yours and people everywhere on the Saturday afternoon.
The beach was beautiful with white sand and pretty blue water. People were having a great time together and stay cool in the water, under an umbrella or sitting in the shade of a restaurant. The music in the restaurants were loud but people watching was fun.
It’s a great way to pass a few hours in Miami Beach!

a week in Miami Beach, everything was very good, the beach, Lincoln Road, the Boardwalk, the landscapes, the food in the restaurants

Currently the boardwalk near the Fountinbleu and to about 21st street is being removed and replace with pavers. This will take over a year. Construction noise at certain locations during the day is annoying.

I ran at the Boardwalk for more then two weeks and it's very good beautiful views and the weather is perfect, always the board was clean and good to walk or run.

If you start around 21st street and head south you will be fine. The entire boardwalk north of 21st is being renovated.

Very beautiful walk with a view of the sea and shaded area. Pedestrians, rollerbladers, cyclists and runners rub shoulders without difficulty. A must do if you are on Ocean Drive

It's a nice place to take a walk, jog, bike ride, etc. You get a great view of the ocean on one side and views of your next hotel stay for the next visit.

Great for walking in the mornings to start your day, there are places you can stop along the way for a rest. There are a couple of beer gardens operated by the hotels that welcome foot traffic to stop in.

Lovely boardwalk. Gets you from beach to beach, from north to south, from hotel to hotel, etc. As it's pedestrians only, you don't need to worry about cars. Though, there are many bikes, skateboard, inline-skaters, etc.
Gets even prettier towards the south (pointe), especially at sunset.

A Beach Lover’s Paradise – Miami Beach Boardwalk & Beach!
If you love the sun, sand, and ocean breeze, the Miami Beach Boardwalk is an absolute must! Stretching along the stunning coastline, this scenic path is perfect for a morning jog, afternoon stroll, or sunset bike ride, with breathtaking views of the Atlantic the entire way.
The beach itself is perfection—crystal-clear turquoise waters, soft white sand, and plenty of space to relax and soak up the Florida sunshine. Whether you’re into swimming, people-watching, or just laying back with a good book, this spot has it all.
Along the way, you’ll find charming cafés, beachfront hotels, and iconic Miami vibes, making it the perfect mix of relaxation and energy. Plus, with the swaying palm trees and ocean breeze, every moment here feels like a postcard come to

Nice winding walk on pavers for about2 miles, I think. Just watch out for bikes they seem to be riding too fast, we witnessed two almost crashes. Great for walking.

The views and the walk alongside the beach was really relaxing- perfect during the week as you can avoid the weekend crowd.

Nice walk in the shade if the beach is too hot in the sun. Well kept board walk. Nice trees and flowers.

Ocean board walk, what a great time, go early as it is warm mid day, many places along boardwalk to stop and see

Boardwalk was a great place to walk or ride bikes, or just people watch. There is also an outside gym at the center of South Beach.

What an upgrade för the whole area finishing the whole boardwalk from top to bottom. Enjoyable to walk, run, like, stroll so well do be to the City of Miami!

This was our first time in South Beach and we were fortunate to go with a couple that was familiar with the area. The hotel we stayed in was the Confidante, which is literally attached to the boardwalk. As soon as we arrived we had breakfast and started strolling down the boardwalk. It really felt more like we were on an exotic island between the mangroves, and the palm trees and even catching sight of a few iguanas and lizards really put us in
“vacation mode.”The city of Miami ( South Beach) has done an excellent job with the upkeep and maintaining of the natural habitat on the Boardwalk.

Had a great time walking down the boardwalk. My husband and I took long walks in the evening. It was amazing. I'm looking forward to coming back.

This is such a lovely boardwalk. It is well maintained and gives regular access to the beach. Hotels and street entrances to the Boardwalk often have small stalls with jewellery etc. Lots of bins. Cyclists, in-line skaters and walkers all coexist easily on this Boardwalk as it is so wide. Great fun looking at the grounds of various hotels, some of them being accessible for food and drinks.

Nice way to walk. We used the boardwalk a lot to walk from our resort to shops and restaurants. More pleasant and peaceful than the sidewalk. Cleaner and easier walk than the beach.

The boardwalk is clean and well-maintained. There is adequate lighting at night. I do feel that mayhe the street markers could be a little clearer.

Beautiful walking area, great people watching with areas to walk out on the beach, restrooms and lovely back drops to some very grand and luxurious hotels.

Beautiful walk, i wouldn’t mind for the rest of my life to live in south beach Miami and enjoy walking or biking next to the beach.

I dreamt of being on the boardwalk….rollerskating again. Emotionally safer times. The time before the beginning of the E.N.D. I would my body to the rhythm of the music, stay balanced, and skate safe. But THEN…Miami Beach changed….judgment rolled in…along with riff raff who destroyed some of my favorite places. Anyway, I love the Miami Beach Boardwalk and I think, in time, it will return to happy days. Sunshine and good vibrations.

We rode our nikes for an hour. The path was paved and flat, the venues beautiful and the people friendly.

Didn't go far, but not much to see. And watch out for the bikers, even though signs are everywhere prohibiting them.

This is an amazing experience that provides a unique look at natural portions of the beach thru beautiful foliage. Quick access to numerous restaurants and shops as well just a quick walk off the boardwalk. They have done a magnificent job with the design and structure that its easy to navigate even in large crowds.

This is a very well maintained, safe and enjoyable broadwalk set just back from the beach.
By day or night it is a delight to stroll down the path dodging cyclists, skaters and runners 😊

Great place to jog or walk and along the beach
Along the Atlantic Coast. Beautiful scenery. I felt safe.

Great for workouts or simple walks!
Construction closures currently from Faema toward MidBeach are a pain. Enjoy South of there and it’s a treat.

The board walk was such a great refreshing experience! People are able to ride bikes and access the beach off the boardwalk. The weather was beautiful when we went. Restaurants are located near and vendors are on the boardwalk. It was great afternoon mear the beach.

The Miami Beach Boardwalk is one of the highlights of Miami Beach. It stretches for miles, has great views and is wide enough to accommodate bicycles, strollers, walkers, runners and roller bladers. It doesn’t feel crowded and is a great way to combine exercise with beautiful nature.

The designated area for feral cats has tall foliage and you can't see the beach from the Boardwalk. Would recommend walking on the beach as well.

This place is under construction! We hope they will have many benches and drinking water fountains here!!

My favorite place for run in FL. Partly on sand, partly on wooden paths. No bikes allowed, Early in the morning is not so hot and y can find along the way cats, birds and turtles. Going to the north is preferred cause more nature & less people.

Recently expanded--beautiful, but not shady; old boardwalk still has that quaint charm to it and much more pleasant and shadier to take a walk in the Florida sun.

Beautiful walk, well maintained and easy!
Great views of the beach and the city - can hop over to the beach if wanted or straight over into the mainland.

The boardwalk is located on Miami beach, from near Cadillac hotel to further south, but some of it is under renovation now.
It’s nice to walk or even jog here in the morning or late afternoon , while enjoying the sound and panorama of Miami beach.
It’s worth a visit when in Miami beach.

In all the years of coming to miami, this a daily treat of my stay - a well over one hour walk up to north Miami. Highly recommend doing this walk on different days and times. Eary morning draws a different crowd than the evening and weekends.
This last trip, it was a nice discovery to see the path extended.
Do wish that bicyclists would respect the no cycling notice on the boardwalk - too many that don't.

If in Miami and need some place to run or walk.
Just go there. It is fantastic to run so close to the beach and the trees give some shade.

Nice wide and scenic walking and biking path with many stops to visit the beach. Well maintained and beautiful path. Gets less crowded the more north you go. Everyone courteous to walkers and bikers.

Here for spring break with my friends and the stay exceeded our expectations. Planned on taking a break from the gym but could stay away because it was so great, tons of equipment and extremely clean! Was helped by Amy, super kind and accommodating!!! View is amazing!!!!

Long stretch of walkway along side Miami beach for walkers, joggers and cyclists. Plenty of restaurants along the way. One minute walk onto Miami Beach.

We were staying at the holiday inn oceanfront which is close to 44 St, and the boardwalk is under reconstruction and difficult to access, it will be nice once it is completed!

A very picturesque walk which is best early in the morning or late afternoon. A nice opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle.

This boardwalk is sooo nice. Beautiful designs in the all brick walkway with water for both drinking or rinsing off if you veer over to the beach for a bit. Nice and clean too! Beautiful.

The Miami Beach boardwalk spans multiple miles and offers direct entrances into hotel restaurants and bars and of course, the beach. It’s beautifully manicured with heavenly water views. I love going for a run or a long walk with my coffee.

Our hotel was right in the boardwalk, which we are so grateful for as we would have been so disappointed if we had missed the miles of beautiful and spacious trails. We used our hotel’s bikes to ride all the way down to the jetty where we saw boats going out and a manatee swimming in for the day. There are bike rentals along the path as well if you don’t have your own. It is wide enough to navigate comfortably around others enjoying it on their skateboards, bikes, or simply walking, yet not so wide to where it feels like a sterile road. Benches and bathrooms are peppered along the way, as well as multiple paths to the beach if you want to take a quick dip.

The boardwalk is great during sunrise and in the evening. You can ride your bike, skateboard, walk, jog, walk your dog, always relaxing to get a few minutes to unwind. The boardwalk is clean and tranquil. Stop along the way for a happy hour drink or simply take in amazing ocean views. The choice is yours, really.

If you don't want sand in your flip flops, this is great. Its on the Atlantic Ocean, the weather is fantastic, it stretches from South Beach at lest 40 blocks north. Or you can go from 5th st, to 46th St. There is metered parking, and half dozen public garages. There are lavish hotels to stop for coffee, and another favorite, benches to watch the girls go by.

This is a very nice and clean boardwalk. There are lots of beach, with many lifeguards. Also easy access to food and shopping.

Thee is a dune buffer between the beach and the developed beachfront hotels. It has significant flora (sea grape, palms, dune grasses etc.) along it. Across the crest of this dune the boardwalk runs parallel to the Atlantic. That being said, on the portions we walked, there were virtually no views of the sea due the height of the vegetation. Little to no amenities at the access points to the beach, no trash cans, no bags fro folks to clean up after their dogs, no showers to rinse the sand off of your feet, and very few benches in evidence ant-where along it. We did encounter homeless folks, as well as people who were clearly drunk or high. This did not provide us with the comfort of feeling like we were in a safe environment. This is an established public transit path that runs north south along the beach but not in view of it, with limited services, and it is little more than that.

Great for get some workout, walking or bicycling, a combination of walkway and wooden decking, it's perfect for a stroll also.

A perfect way to spend a morning watching the beach scene wake up. Bikes. Roller blades. Runners. Walkers. Wonderful street scenes and places to stop and people walk. Bring you water bottle and work off last night’s adult beverages.

This boardwalk/beach path was beautiful and was being used by walkers, runners, bikers, parents pushing strollers, dog walkers, young, old, and everything in between. HOWEVER... bikers beware!! There is a large section where bicycles are not allowed! We started down this path around 66th Street, heading south, enjoying the beautiful scenery, when out of nowhere - WHAM! - a sign saying “No bicycles beyond this point.” WHAT? So, we walked our bikes for a while, saw several people on skateboards, which seemed strange, since bikers weren't allowed, but then we decided to try the main road (Collins,) thinking surely there would be a bike lane on the road. There was not, and we felt slightly threatened and unsafe with all the traffic. Eventually we gave up on Collins and turned around to go back north, to the point where we could reenter the boardwalk. This was really disappointing. If the city wants a beautiful boardwalk to attract visitors, the ENTIRE boardwalk should be accessible to all users the entire way, or there should be a safe alternative for the users being made to exit the boardwalk. Sidewalks are not a viable bike lane and neither is a street with heavy traffic and parking all along the side, making dodging traffic a risky situation. PLEASE open the ENTIRE boardwalk to bicycles!

Great place for an early morning (sunrise) walk, lots of plants and palm trees, plenty of shaded areas. Be careful of the bicycles and skateboards.

Admittedly, I sampled only about ten blocks, and it's not so much a boardwalk as a pathway through palm tree groves. In any case, it is designed well and makes for a very pleasant stroll or bicycle ride.

This is a very safe and lovely place to walk or run, especially in the morning. Lots of people around at all times of the day. There is some construction going on but very manageable.

A great facility adjacent to the beach that goes on for miles and miles. It is constantly bussing so whether you want to people watch or walk, cycle, run or skate, this is a must

This sandy beach is a perfect place to relax. The sand is a great place to build a beautiful sandcastle with your family. The waters are protected by lifeguards and are a place to swim, even though sometimes it might be chilly.

North Beach and South Beach - are lovely. Mid-Beach is under construction. I was looking forward to walking from my hotel in mid-Beach to South Beach. Not this year. The Boardwalk is torn up around 45 Street until approximately 20 Street.

This is a great way to exercise and view the beach at the same time. Safe and well maintained area for all.

Is beautiful place to walk and enjoy the warm weather absolutely a must we walked on south beach for about 30 min and it was still cold to bath but we enjoyed the walk

It's a must to visit place if you are in Miami. Very clean and has many connections to the shore. On the shore you can rent umbrellas and seats also for about 20 bucks. If you forget your sun guard cream they have some free for you.

Great facility, clean, safe, and a great place to start our trip to Florida.
Plenty of places to eat or drink as you walk and of course just few feet from white immaculate sands.

For bikers, runners, scooter riders and walk! Lights at night very safe and bike stations on the way to rent

An easy and relaxing way to migrate through town, all with an eye on the beach and ocean. Keep alert for wheeled devices.

The brick boardwalk is wide, clean and along the ocean. There are entry ways to the beach from the boardwalk. It is a delightful way to walk along the beach.

the new extended boardwalk in concrete pavers is a great extension to the old boardwalk which finished at 38th strret. however since the new boardwalk allows bicycles it is extremely danggerous for pedestrians. why didn't they make a special bike lane. now cyclists zig zag around pedestrians and cause accidents.

Loved walking here, so relaxing seeing the dogs and other people jogging.
My hotel has access to the boardwalk with beach umbrellas/chairs for a fee so that was pretty awesome. The time I visited there was an ongoing construction of what looks like extending the boardwalk

Walking the Miami Beach Boardwalk was pure bliss. With its mesmerizing ocean views and refreshing breeze, it's the ultimate escape for beach lovers.

The only good thing about the hotel I chose was that it was opposite this place. Really enjoyed. Great for walking.

walking by the sea with all of the well kept vegetation is really nice and efficient. And to see all of the incredible buildings and skyline of the Art Deco district is just surreal. Walking on the street is nice too, but Boardwalk is equally nice.

One of the very nice things to do while in Miami Beach. It's a beautiful walk or run and get a nice vibe out of nature. It's super safe and relaxing. Usually get sunrises as well.

Great place to visit, everything was nice beautiful I enjoyed to time with husband and my son. We are planning to go back

Great vacation in Miami Beach and at the Cadillac. Cool hotel with a great vibe. Location is awsome right on the beach, nice pools, and great staff. Jacqueline, Nathia, Estaban and Maggie made our stay so nice. Can’t wait to come back.

If you need a walk or a run this is the place. Lots of people all the time, but theres room for everyone. Remember that bikes are not allowed throughout the whole boardwalk.

Great for hiking, cycling, running, watching the landscape, enjoying the beach climate, finally, enjoying Miami Beach!

Great place to walk and enjoy ocean views. But it's popular and can be crowded with bikers and roller-bladers in addition to walkers and runners. We walked the section from 16th St to South Pointe pier and it was quite busy. Later we walked the section from 35th to 50th St and it wasn't quite as busy as the southern part.

The staff was very helpful, hotel well located at walking distance of the ocean, Lincond road and 20 min from the airport.

The boardwalk is a level, paved surface that provides plenty of space for walking, running, biking, and non-electric scooters to share the path. There is shade along the way morning and evening. Walking from 13th street north there are hotels on the left, With the beach on the right, so there is often a cooling breeze. You'll spot plenty of bikini and thong clad scenery. Ample people watching opportunities. The boardwalk runs for miles, so take in the ever changing sights as you get your exercise.

This is a great way to get around and see the beautiful beaches of Miami Beach! You can also stop at some of the hotels for a meal! But, beware, even though there are signs about no bicycles, some people will fly by you! Parts of the boardwalk are shaded...so it’s a nice walk!

We traveled from place to place almost exclusively on the board walk. It runs all the way to Mid beach to south beach and is so much quieter than the street. We always felt safe walking here, even at night

Multiple sections of the boardwalk are under renovations right now but you are still able to walk through it and enjoy the views and take great pictures.

Great boardwalk for walking, jogging, biking. Though bikes are not allowed on parts of the boardwalk. The sunrise is beautiful as you can see from the pictures. Very long stretch we easily walked for an hour without realizing that we had gone that far. Walked in the evening after dark as well and there were quite a number of people out there. I would think it’s safe after dark.

We walked the full length of south beach and enjoyed many of the stopping off points along the way. Lots of people were jogging and cycling, it was a beautiful walk with the sound of the ocean in the background,

A perfect way to end the weirdest year out of the 51 I have lived so far. We had dinner at the rooftop restaurant at the 1 Hotel - Watr. We had an amazing evening and just wanted to share the experience. The traffic was a little thick, so give yourself extra time! Ask for an indoor table or bring a jacket or wrap as it an be cool if it is windy.

Walked 4.4 miles along the boardwalk. It is clean. Not over crowded. Cyclists, roller-skaters and skateboarders were all mindful of the pedestrians.

What a great boardwalk very active friendly and clean place to enjoy walking skating bike riding or whatever your pleasure

Very nicely kept, this boardwalk parallels the beach. It offers a stable platform for those not wanting to walk in the sand. Surrounded by trees the sun is not too imposing. Nothing special but its there for use and not falling apart.

Seems like it would be extremely nice, but large section under construction. Still very nice or a morning run !

At the end of Ocean's Drive, before South Pointe Park, this pedestrian area extends close to the sea. You walk among the greenery, between the greenery and the sea. Well maintained and very pleasant.

I walked this area almost every day of my vacation - from 5th Street north to 14th Street and back. The boardwalk is a well maintained sidewalk, that follows along, just west of the vegetation buffer between the main sandy beach area and Ocean Drive. This means you can't see the ocean from the boardwalk (at least in this section). Unfortunately there are so many bikes (most manual but some electric) , skateboards, rollerbladers. Many are going very fast, weave in and out of pedestrians, coming too close for comfort. This makes the walk less than relaxing and don't think of changing direction without a quick look back over your shoulder to make sure someone on wheels is not about to run you down! I question why bikes are even allowed on the boardwalk. After all there are dedicated bike lanes right on Ocean Dr about 100 ft or so to the west.
The sidewalk along Ocean Dr seems to be just for pedestrians - so a calmer place to walk.

I love this boardwalk. You could literally take a walk along ocean drive while on the boardwalk. I’ve done it from the 3900 block of Collins to South beach. It was a very nice walk. 👍🏿

In short, this is a 30-foot wide paved path that runs along the edge of the beach areas, and is a-m-a-z-i-n-g for running, walking and even casual biking (when not busy). This is a project that is in-progress, so there are areas that are under construction (particularly between 43rd and 23rd streets). Access north of 41st street can be hard to find, but can be found through public parking lots. This is a GREAT place for a morning walk/run.

Taken in as part of the Miami tour. It was a nice experience as was all of the tour really. Recommend taking the tour

Great place for a walk or run in the morning during your holiday in Miami Beach. Meandering walkway flanked with coconut palms.

Well kept surroundings on the Miami Beach Boardwalk makes it enjoyable to take the morning walk along the sea. Lot's of people are out walking and running, which makes it to a social event as well.

A must!! Walk, jog bike or skateboard on this stunningly beautiful boardwalk alongside South Beach, Miami

This is a great spot for a morning run or leisurely stroll. It’s easy to follow, even with the construction happening through part of it. Looking forward to running it again.

The boardwalk goes from one end of Miami Beach to the other. It is great for running, and for leisurely activities.

I was in Miami beach for 5 days and started each day with a 5 mile walk on the boardwalk. Its lovely to walk by the beach, stop and watch the waves, admire those at Muscle Beach and get some exercise.

This has to be the best boardwalk in USA. Clean, organized, great scene of beaches, and plenty of restaurants to visit. I could walk this everyday. It's that great.

Super fun boardwalk for jogging, biking or strolling. Beautiful scenery, bathroom and water available. Clean and well lid out.

Not what I expected a "boardwalk" to be but still a nice walk along the beach of South Beach. Water is still a little bit of walk, across sand, but still close enough to enjoy views and also very close to Collins Ave.

It‘s always clean and safe and a great pleasure to walk there, seeing happy, healthy people and an amazing ocean

This is an incredible place to walk, run or access the beach.
A secure place for use in the morning, afternoon or at night.
Has a good structure for all people.
So nice ...

They recently closed the beach because of coronavirus concerns. Thankfully the beach walk is still open. A lot of people use it for exercise. The views are amazing and you still get some shade.

We were staying at the Fontainbleau in Mid Beach and one day had an afternoon Duck Boat tour which left from South Beach, so we decided to take a leisurely walk down the Boardwalk for 30 blocks or so. The MB Boardwalk extends the entire length of Miami Beach, but we picked it up at its mid point right outside of the Fontainbleau property. It is a wide elevated walkway made from boards that runs between the hotel properties and the actual beach, and is very well maintained. and easy to walk on. It is surrounded by lush vegetation on both sides, occasionally opening up to spectactular views of the beach and the Atlantic Ocean, and the many hotel entrances on the opposite side. You pass some of the wonderful art deco lifeguard stands, as well as walk through a couple parks with restrooms. As you go further south, the walkway changes from boards to paver blocks, all fairly new and well maintained. There are many fellow walkers, joggers, and an a occasional bicycle so you have to be aware of your surroundings as you walk along, but no issues really. The Boardwalk is a great way to get down to the South Beach art deco area and the Lincoln Street Mall without dealing with noisy traffic and crowds. At the end of that day we took a free MB Trolley back up to the Fontainbleau. A stroll down the MB Boardwalk is a must do if you are spending any time in Miami Beach.

Beautiful, shaded, clean
What an amazing trail! Easy to run 5 miles on the flat paved runway. Check out all the hotels you could be staying at too.

This was our 1st visit to Miami.
After a long flight from London, we watched the sunrise from the boardwalk and beach.
Stunning!

Walking the boardwalk every morning on vacation has become a ritual. I picked it up at eighth Street in South Beach and walked up to 50th St. It extends now even further than that.
Stunning views of the ocean, great people watching and there is a good amount of shade. The cyclists 🚴♀️ do zoom by so be careful. I would recommend bringing some water with you if you plan on being out there for a while.

The boardwalk is a nice place for a stroll or jog. It’s under construction in an area and you are diverted to a slightly sketchy walkway, if you are walking at night.
Amazing
This boardwalk goes on for miles and miles. Not all of it is made of wood. See it in the morning with all kinds of people: Joggers, tourists, rollerskaters, people walking their dog in a stroller.,. Unfortunately today part of it was closed, but we still had a great mirning walk.
