Wow! Amazing collection of corvettes. My husband is the car fan, but it was such a well laid out museum I found myself intrigued by the history.

So of the coolest cars I have ever seen were on display, and not only Vettes. I strongly recommend this for anyone who loves cars. This, to me, told the story of American triumph.

Had a great time here. Of course, all the cars are amazing, from the first ones made right up to the amazing very latest model. We were there on a Tuesday morning and it wasn't crowded at all. Really amazing job they did on the cave-in and the cars that were damaged or totally destroyed. Good gift shop. Everyone was very friendly. Plan on at least 2 or 3 hours here, maybe more depending on your interest in Corvettes. Definitely worth it!

We were in town for graduation and decided to visit the museum. So glad we did. We arrived around 3pm. Was not crowded. Really enjoyed the displays, cars, history, and the way the cars were set up. You could read the display in front of you or press a button and it displayed on the screen behind you. We did try the simulator which we enjoyed. Many workers by the display areas if you had questions.

The museum was great and loved seeing all the Corvettes and learning all about the history of the automobile. The staff was great and we enjoyed everything!

If you own or want to own a Vette, this is a must do! How the Vette was born and continues on to this day. Now I need another oneš

Iām a die hard Corvette fan, so I admit Iām biased. I did really enjoy the Sinkhole exhibit. It was very informative and sad seeing the destroyed cars.

I could not resist stopping here, as I was staying at a hotel across the street. There wasn't time for the museum tour, but there were lots of beautiful Corvettes to see, and the gift shop was an attraction in itself. If you are even mildly interested in Corvettes, this is worth seeing.

Definitely worth the stop if youāre going through Bowling Green, KY. The museum felt a touch expensive for the size, however we spent a nice afternoon exploring, the highlight was the gallery at the end with numerous paintings of car culture. We met a volunteer who shared some great stories of corvettes, and hidden features within the paintings. We thoroughly enjoyed speaking with him. Another highlight is the ādomeā which was being setup for a new exhibit about to open at the museum. The projections on the walls and cars really added to the whole experience.

We really enjoyed our visit to the museum. We arenāt Corvette owners or even big car fans (I suspect it would be even more interesting if you are), but we found it fascinating. We are glad we went. We did the guided tour and recommend that for the extra information provided. By the time we got to the sky dome , they were setting up for a private event that night and that detracted somewhat from our experience. If you are passing through nearby, do yourself a favor and stop. It might not be a great experience with kids.

It was about25+ years since I was down there last. So it was before the sink hole. I had to walk through some of the museum before I got to where the sink hole happened. They did a very nice display on the sink hole and through out the museum where it happened. It was well worth the time and money to see that. I had a great time.

One of the most unique museums we have ever seen. Unfortunately, we arrived on a Sunday about 9:00 in the morning as we were driving by on Interstate 65 and the museum was not open yet. As a young man in Minnesota, I sold Chevrolet cars and trucks, with great success, but never sold one Corvette. They are somewhat of a cult and you really have to understand them. The benches outside the museum portray great editions and events in the history of Corvettes. An amazing structure, when we first saw it from the highway, we wondered what the heck it was. You can see it for miles. As we approached there were all kinds of people in their hot rods racing around the nearby streets and hanging out at the museum. We loved this place, clean and full of life.

I went here in 2022 and it was about $12, If I remember correctly. May, 2024 and it was $25 per person. In 2022 there was a display of all the cars fell into the sinkhole and that was a major exhibit. In May 2024, they removed all the damaged cars and whittled sink hole exhibit to basically one small room with video and photos. When I asked the woman why, she said they wanted to be known as the Corvette museum not the sinkhole museum. Well, that was probably one of the most interesting exhibits. You can make it through in half an hour now.... Definitely not worth $25.

Just inside the main entrance was a showroom with about eight Corvettes that had been customer ordered. Two new owners drove their new cars right off the floor while we were there. This area, along with the gift shop were free to access, however the main museum did require a fee. There were several discounts available, among them seniors (62+) and AAA. Lot of vintage Corvettes on display, with an exhibit covering the massive sinkhole that opened up under the museum in the past. Well worth the modest price of admission.

This is a must visit and tour for any and all gear heads, non-gearheads, children and those just interested in a good time. Site and cars are best enjoyed by a guided tour which is priced reasonable. History of museum is highly entertaining, and the gift shop is a place you should plan to spend an extra 30 minutes or so. Corvette Boulevard is the place where dreams do come true. Overall, I rate our visit exciting and well beyond our expectations. A true visit to real Americana.

Excellent visit! High quality exhibits and lots to see. Enjoyed the museum and the Stingray Grill was a delicious lunch.

Came since stayed in cave Cave City cg. and have friends who are founding members. Museum is good taking you through the history of how/when the corvette car came to be. Also, it was neat to see new owners decided f corvettes getting introduced to their new car and actually starting it up in the museum. Might not be something for younger children.

Great automobile museum. Even the sinkhole incident of 2014 is a feature set of displays in the museum. Good history lesson on the car and informative as to the technology in the Corvette and in future models. Seeing how many people have contributed to this place was awe inspiring and a tribute to the popularity of this vehicle,

Wonderful tribute to American Muscle.
My first time there.
Great exhibits. Family friendly.
Heartbreaking to see the Vettes that fell in the sink hole.
The simulator was a little difficult to control, but fun none the less.
Ate at the grill. Good food there. Will be nice when they complete the renovation.

The national Corvette Museum is located right off of the Interstate and offers a look at the classic American Sports Car. The museum offers visitors glances back in time with exhibits demonstrating the timeline of the corvette all the way up to todays C8 Corvette. There is also a section about the sinkhole event that occurred several years back damaging the classic cars.

This museum is pretty neat even if you are not a big car person. There are A LOT of cars on display and Corvetteās are quite nice to look at. You may even see a few driving around.

We bought the $50 ticket that includes both the plant tour (across the street) and the museum tour. We enjoyed both. The museum is well laid out, informative, and has a number of rare and classic Corvettes. There is a very informative section explaining the 2014 sink hole collapse. They have fixed the whole area, all except for one car on display as a reminder. Perfect afternoon for car enthusiasts - we don't even own a Corvette. Also, you can watch owners picking up their newly delivered Corvettes in an indoor area. They fire them up for the first time, learn all the features, and then the staff applaud as they drive them away. Sounds cheesy, but it was actually pretty cool. The cars are gorgeous. The store had just about everything Corvette: clothes, souvenirs, gifts, car parts. We did not go in the sit-down restaurant, but we did get a sandwich at the snack bar from a super friendly clerk. Tons of parking - this place must get super busy in the summer.

Took a day trip to Kentucky to see the National Corvette Museum. It was very nice. Staff was very friendly. Building was clean. Enjoyed the museum. Very informative displays. We had a wonderful time. Thanks.

Excellent museum with a lot of information. The disaster with the sink hole section was very interesting as well. Kids section for interactive items clever.

The National Corvette Museum is a terrific, well done museum. Obviously, most of the exhibits feature āAmericaās First Sports Carā, which came on the scene in 1953, but thereās more to see. From a personal standpoint, Iāve never been a huge Corvette āfanā but I am a fan of American history, ingenuity and dedication to craftsmanship. All are on display here!

I went to the NCM on Christmas season with my Dad. As a car enthusiast this is an experience you cannot miss even if you love american muscle cars. The staff was very helpful and friendly, you can learn about the corvette story and many other things about this cars!

This place is a nice side trip if youāre passing by. Very convenient and sits right next to the interstate. Very clean place. I went with my family, with teens and a school age child. It was nice that they have this kidzone for the little ones. My youngest enjoyed that the most.

What an outstanding guided tour! Got to see the Corvettes from their beginnings until now and everything in between. Found the collapse of the Corvettes into the sinkhole and their rescue and repair fascinating! Would definitely come back here again.

We had planned this visit about 6 months ago. Flying to Nashville and renting a car to drive from Nashville to Bowling Green then on up to Cleveland to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
This museum was far beyond what I expected. It was extremely fascinating. You learn so much of the history of this iconic car and where its headed.
We especially liked seeing Delivery Row. Also lunch in the Sting Ray Grill was very good.
IF you have a interest in Corvettes or even history of cars then you need to see this museum. And if you totally take in all it has to offer you could spend hours here.

This was a self-guided tour. Lots of vets to see. There is a section of the museum that shows you a video of the sink hole that happened in 2014. Fascinating. There was a piece of the floor that had a glass cover and you could look down into it ~ 40 feet certainly takes on a different meaning when you actualloy see it.

Even if you only want to visit the gift store, this is a worthwhile stop. The front lobby area has several Corvettes displayed and waiting for their new owners. The simulator is also in the front area so you do have spectators during your ādrive.ā The simulator is an extra cost and not everyone in your party has to participate. The admission price is reasonable and the displays spaced out so that it never seems crowded. Be sure to check out the still damaged Corvettes retrieved from the sinkhole incident in 2014. The restaurant/cafe was closed for our visit, just FYI. Allow 2 hours for this experience especially if everyone is driving the simulator.

If you are a Corvette fan the you will be in car heaven. If you are a collector car person it will be very interesting. If you are a Model A Ford nut like me it was ok and worth a look.

Visited on May 5. Did not realize I would like it as much. Gave a good history about the Vette all the way back to 1953, when they first came out. Re-lived alot of things they brought out.

Perfect display and explanation of the history and the numerous Corvette models. Mostly for car and Corvette enthusiasts. Most likely of interest to adults and teens.
The adjoining store carries a myriad of Corvette related items.
Adult $25; senior & teens $23; child 5-12 $14
In my opinion the price for children should be more reasonable or there should be a family rate.

It is a well made museum. But it is kind of small. I would have expected more standard models on display. The good thing, it is not crowded.

The Corvette Museum is a must see for Corvette fans. Others will find it an interesting history of an American classic car.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We spent a couple of hours here. There are a lot of pristine corvettes to see from the 50s through present. There is even a section about the sinkhole which happened a few years ago and swallowed 7 Corvettes. They have restored 2 and you can see the rest in the condition they were pulled from the sinkhole. If you're a car lover and especially corvette lover, you should definitely visit this but anyone would love this.

We spent 2-3 hours just marveling at the incredible feats of engineering with these magnificent vehicles. I am not a guy who knows much about cars, but I appreciate the story of how these cars came to prominence. It was fun seeing how the car has evolved over the years and the different forms it has taken as a personal vehicle and in the racing world. Each car on display had its own story and there were several videos available to provide a history of the car. I enjoyed seeing my son get a chance to "race" a Corvette on a track in a video game setting. It was a fun family outing.

Thank you, National Corvette Museum for this awesome archive. Awesome to see Corvettes and their conception, until now. The main themes; designing the Corvettes unique look and developing their high performance.
The NCM has put together a gem. We enjoyed all the Corvette information. Displays of beautiful Corvettes to see in person, along w/picās, bios and vids. Iām not a Vette owner but loved the museum. Lots of info. Fun time.
NCM is easy to find. parking lots. Thereās a dedicated lot for RVās and trailers. Thereās a cafe with food and drink, bathrooms and shopping for all. Very clean place and polite, helpful staff.

I grew up always admiring the Corvette. The Museum gives you a great place to see the Eras of the Vette and how it changed from one to the other. The history of the car is well done. The exhibits are well done and are for all ages.
Probably one of the neatest things is seeing people come and pick up their cars. They get a personalized introduction to the vehicle by a qualified expert. A pretty neat deal.
The facility is very clean, the staff is very friendly and the overall experience is very good. Well worth the time and the price.

Extensive displays detail the history of this American classic from 1953 to the present. Plenty of cars to look at, each having a unique story. The exhibit detailing the cave-in that seriously damaged 8 of the display cars is really interesting (and sad to think of some of these one of a kind cars destroyed). It was cool to see people picking up their brand new Corvettes that they had delivered directly from the factory across the street.

Wow what gorgeous cars!!! Enjoyed the history and the interactive information. The gentleman doing the tours was so friendly and passionate about the museum. My husband wants one now too bad itās a two year wait on an order.

Had a great experience touring this museum highlighting America's iconic sports car. Many cars on display and interesting things. Especially liked the Sinkhole exhibits

This is a well laid out presentation where you can spend as much time as you want (can go out and come back in until closing). Lots of good information. Even someone not so deeply into Corvettes or cars can enjoy themselves (thatās me!) while their partner enjoys it all.

If you love Corvettes the museum is the place to go. Many many exhibits plus the cars from the sink hole!

Loved seeing all the cars and learning about their history. The museum includes many personal stories with the vehicles / designs which makes it even more interesting. I enjoyed learning more about the sinkhole incident and the recovery and restoration of the vehicles.

Lots of cars on display to show history of the Corvette. Displays well done and self guided tour very interesting. Found the sink hole exhibit the most interesting with retrieved cars on display.

Loved seeing all the vettes!! Couple of the cars were actually picked up by their new owners while we were there. We did the 10am tour w/Michael, he was great!! Do the Racing Simulator, so fun!!

The family was visiting up from Florida and wanted to take a trip to the National Corvette Museum in Bowling. Upon arriving was delighted to see the grounds. Kept nice and was exciting. Upon entering the building you walked through a group of new Corvettes that were just beautiful.
The staff was helpful and we took the walking tour at our own pace. The cars and history were just remarkable.
This was a well-worth spent the afternoon. If you are in the Bowling Green area this is a must-do.
Dr. Marc PS 27:4

Have been there before and was blown away. Took my son this time only to find out ALL the cars that were in the cave in had been removed and were in storage. Extermly disappointed.

A must for the corvette owner/ enthusiast! Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Its is especially cool to celebrate the new C8 delivery to its new owners.

If you are a Corvette fan you will love this, and itās interesting even for everyone else. Through the exhibits, you see a great history of the car and its development over the years. There are a range of models to see and you can identify the different periods and styles over the years. With over 70 cars throughout the museum, they are displayed in different settings including mint condition classics, prototypes, rare finds and racing champs.

Just around the corner from the Assembly Plant.... houses all kinds of unique cars, interactive exhibits AND a cool " Sinkhole" exhibit that covers everything that occured when some cars were swallowed up in Feb 12, 2014

While in Kentucky, if you are a Corvette fan this is a must visit. Fun for the whole family too. If you go, take the tour and you can see the sinkhole.

Fascinating history of America's greatest sports car and some beautiful cars on display. I was especially intrigued by the sinkhole exhibit. Several years ago, the main showroom collapsed, pulling some of the cars into the sinkhole beneath. Some of the cars were saved, but some were unsalvageable. Interesting to see all of the different types of corvettes that have been made through the years. We were not able to do the factory tour, as it was not open to the public at the time we visited. They also had a virtual simulator, which we did not do. It was a fun museum - would definitely visit again.

There were eras that this car was sooooo pretty. And a couple when they were not. A corvette lover would really enjoy but for average person it was still entertaining. Glad we went. A bit pricey for entry but still glad I went and my tween reverted to a little boy in the gift shop. We now own a toy corvette. red of course!

Obviously as itās all Corvetteās it has got a limited appeal but coming from England you donāt see that many so it was a must see during our recent tour of the US. The exhibits are obviously of a very high standard and document the cars history from inception to present day. The museums well laid out with plenty of photo opportunities and even my wife who generally only likes American cars from the 50ās found it interesting.
Well worth a visit.

We are not car enthusiasts but found our self-guided tour through this museum to be interesting. In the lobby were multiple new cars waiting for the owners to come to the museum to accept delivery and available for visitors to view. The exhibits were done well, telling stories of various designers and engineers and how they proposed changes to the Corvette over the years. There were plenty of cars of various body styles on display. There was some info about the approval process for changes, but not a lot about the actual manufacturing process. There is also one exhibit about the sinkhole that occurred in 2014 with one of the damaged cars and a video. The Skydome/Hall of Fame building is used for temporary exhibits, and on our visit it had one called āPop Culture and Corvetteā with cars from various celebrities and a wraparound projection screen showing film clips where Corvettes were featured, very fun. Also in this building is a porthole in the floor for viewing the sinkhole, but you canāt tell much. Back in the lobby we watched some visitors using the racing simulators. We were there 1:30pm-3pm on a Monday and it did not feel crowded at all. You could spend longer if you watched every video and looked at every interactive screen.

This is a pretty cool museum of Corvettes. You also get to see where part of it collapsed in 2007 and the vehicles that were damaged. My husband is a big car guy and he loved it!

What an excellent and informative tour into the world of automobile development. Regardless of your "preference" to any one auto supplier, when in the Bowling Green KY area, this is a "must see" stop on your list. The amount of design and development that went on behind the scenes is amazing. And all the actual vehicles on display are wonderful. Doesn't matter if you are young or older, one, another, or many of these sports cars will grab your attention.

A very interesting museum! Corvettes from every era are on display along with specialty Corvettes. My family especially enjoyed the exhibit about the sinkhole disaster of 2014 when 8 corvettes were swallowed up. My kids (and us adults) enjoyed the McMichael Family Education Gallery. At this gallery, they were able to design their corvette on tablets and then see their designs up on a big screen. The kids also saw a working Corvette engine display. Admission is a bit steep, but military discount can help decrease the cost. It was fun for our whole family (kids ages 5 and 9). We spent about 2 hours in the museum.

If you are anywhere near Bowling Green, and are a car enthusiast, you must take the time to stop here and take the tour.

Just happen to pass in front of the National Corvette Museum and we stopped to take a look. If you loves corvettes this is the place for you for sure. Very nice place!!

This was a great place to visit if you're a Corvette nut, generally love all thing cars or are more into the historical side of automobiles. Everything was laid out and easy to follow. Could take as long as you wanted to take in every aspect from start to finish. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The gift shop has something for everyone

This museum is great for the history of the corvette. There are many different cars and things to see, including the sink hole that destroyed part of the museum. There is not much that is interactive there, except a simulator, which costs extra.
The museum is a unique stop.

Larry from the corvette museum took care of my wife and I. He was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable, and informative. He went over the whole car with great detail, and then took us on a factory tour. Totally an unbelievable experience. I highly recommend the museum to anyone, even if it isn't to take delivery, and if you see Larry, talk to him. The guy knows corvettes through and through. best experience!

You should think of the Corvette Museum in the same way you think of the Louisville Slugger Museum up the road in, um, Louisville. If you have no great interest in the subject, donāt bother. But if you love cars (or in the other case, baseball) and have an appreciation for sports cars in general and the great American Corvette itself, this will be worth every nickel and moment. The history of the Corvette, its engineering, its legacy, are all here in detail. And take extra time to enjoy the portions devoted to the Great Sinkhole of 2014, which swallowed eight cars but could have been so much worse (middle of the night; no one there). The Museum turned things to their advantage by rebuilding the exhibit, restoring the cars that could be & still displaying those that could not be, while also teaching a little bit about the geology of the area to boot; remember, youāre not far from Mammoth Cave NP.

The NCM is the Mecca for Corvette enthusiasts. There are so many beautiful cars and exhibits. The Skydome had an outline of the cave margins and the sinkhole where 8 cars were lost in 2014. There is also a manhole where you can look down 30 feet and see where the cars fell.
The multimedia presentation about the collapse was mesmerizing. There is a lot to view and read! We highly recommend a visit.

Great quick stop and go museum. Loved it! Even had a chance to enjoy the virtual race before heading out! Everyone there was very courteous!

Made the trip from CT just for this museum, although it was very nice, i was disappointed as not as many cars as i thought. I thought it would have had one for each year? Maybe i set my expectations too high.

The National Corvette Museum is a fun, family-friendly spot. We spent a couple of hours there on a Sunday afternoon.
Even the elementary-age granddaughters found activities and exhibits to keep them engaged.
The museum covers the history of corvettes from inception to current times. Several rare cars are on display.
Displays include different anniversary models.
One large exhibit covers the disaster of the 2014 sinkhole when several rare cars were damaged, some beyond repair.
The gift shop offers corvette-themed clothing, mugs, magnets, model cars, etc.

To wander around all these beautiful cars and learn their history was amazing. MANY cars on display with signage explaining their details and history in time sequential order. Lots to learn. Iād say give yourself an hour to casually walk through, maybe more time if youāre an avid reader. So much to see, learn and enjoy!

I'm not a car enthusiast, but this was very cool. Lots of history that isn't necessarily car related. Allow time to stop and read the signs, I wouldn't bring children to this museum.

Great inventory of historic vettes as well as some other makes/models. Spent an hour or so strolling through the museum, learning about the history of GM/Corvettes.
Would recommend to any auto enthusiast.

Really enjoyed the museum. Got to follow the history to where they are now. The cars are gorgeous of course. Some folks were taking delivery which is very cool. You never know who you might see, today was Rick Hendricks!

Victoria is the entire reason why the trip was worth it. I almost died in a rainstorm and my car almost washed away but my experience with her made the journey worth the risk. Once I got to my final destination it was fun, it was informational and most important, it was respectful to all the people who donated items to the museum. Ask for her. The only downfall was, she said she licked the vehicles, but honestly I canāt blame her. Great experience.

If your a Corvette owner or not, the museum is an awesome place to see the history of the American Sports car.

Taking delivery of your new Corvette at the Museum is the most wonderful experience you can have with a new car. Staff is incredible, museum is fascinating and the experience the Museum staff provides is something you will remember the rest of your life.

We arenāt car people, but wanted something unique to Kentucky. This fit the bill. The exhibit are well maintained and designed for not just the car lover, but for the general public too. The exhibit covering the damage from the sinkhole in 2012 was amazing. We also loved the little kidās area where the younger ones could work on a practice car. If you want to do the Corvette simulator, I recommend arriving earlier in the day and doing it first thing. The lines can get a little long when the museum gets busier later. We would definitely come back again.

We planned our family vacation around going to this museum and we were not disappointed. The cars are wonderful and you can walk around at your own pace. It took about 2 hours in total, and that was with taking a picture of every car and the gift shop. The exhibit about the sinkhole was very interesting as well.

am very saddened by my experience today at this museum- my kids and I had looked forward to it all day and only had the last 30 minutes to enjoy.
I was reminded of that the moment we entered the museum.
My kids ran directly for the kids area - I left them there for 3 minutes to take a few pictures. A tall, older gentleman who ākindlyā reminded me upon entry I only had 30 minutes, came in to tell me I had 19 minutes. I let him know we would leave in 15 minutes. He then stood there, questioning me, telling me he had to clean up. I asked him if he wanted me to leave and he said ādo what you need to doā. So we left.
I went back to complain. I told him it was a terrible experience. I was so taken aback that I was shaking. As he continued to interrupt me, he told me I wasnāt supposed to leave my kids alone, I told him that he didnāt tell me that. He then told me it was on the door and not his job to tell me. He continued to interrupt me and I firmly told him multiple times I was still speaking. I let him know he didnāt tell me not to leave my kids alone, but basically leave. I let him know that it was just a terrible customer experience. He said that was my opinion, and I said, no it is a fact. He said, well there are cameras (?).
Later, my children told me he approached them in the kids area (I saw him walk in and was 20 feet behind him). He looked at my 4 year old daughter and told her to "go find her mom" - leaving him alone with my 8 year old son. My son told him "we will wait for her here - she will be back in a few minutes". I'm not sure why this man was telling my four year old to wonder by herself to find her mom, or approaching my well-behaved kids at all without a parent present.
I would not recommend based on this -I felt threatened and my kids were very disappointed. We were treated so poorly.

If you love old cars and the history that goes with them, then you will be in heaven at this museum. We went during an owners rally and there were over 400 Corvettes in the parking lot. This history and staging to the cars is very well done. The newer addition about the sinkhole is very well done also.

You don't have to be a Corvette fan to enjoy this, they have some beautiful vehicles on display. The extra attention to the story of the sinkhole was very interesting. We spent almost 2 hours there which was plenty of time.

I'm not a car guy, but my son is. They have some incredible cars there and I really loved looking at. Anything past the 80s and they changed the style too much, but those early cars were so beautiful. When someone who doesn't care about cars says wow, they're special. I would love to see them get a few more models from the 1980s and 90s.

It is such a cool museum! There are many old fashioned cars and versions of corvettes. It is friendly to all guests- corvette fans or not. I learned much about the history and models of the fascinating vehicles. There is a child area for kids to interact with gear related gadgets. Overall, this museum is worth the visit!

It would s a really nice museum but I think it is expensive. I wish there was also more info about sinkhole. Lastly, I wish they offer some more hands on experiences to keep the kids busy.

Neat place to stop and see the cars. Great facility. Loved learning and seeing about the sink hole here.

Seeing all the advancement designs of the corvette that have been completed over the years was fascinating. We enjoyed the movie showing all the improvements made to the corvette. It is obvious that the vehicle has been made for speed.
My husband enjoyed the exhibit more than I, however, it was interesting to me. There is a marvelous section just for kids. And there were quite a lot of kids there with their parents. The neatest thing I saw were dads there with their sons explaining all their excitement with the corvettes.
My husband and I are handicapped. There were wheel chairs available. Be sure and bring a driver's license to get one.
The sink hole that occurred years ago taking some of the corvettes down, was displayed excellently. I would definitely recommend visiting the National Corvett Museum.

If you love Corvettes you'll enjoy the visit. They have a nice range of cars from 1953 on. Only thing I wish they did was open more hoods to get a look inside.

Husband & grandchildren loved this place. Lots of nice cars, friendly people. Would definitely recommend

One of the most enjoyable things was watching the new owners pickup their corvette, great experience,

Worth the trip, enjoyed the information about the sinkhole. Paid extra for the guided tour, definitely happy we heard the summaries instead of reading all the posted signage. 1983 One corvette was my fav, how unique!

So fun! They have tours of the actual factory but even if you canāt do that the self guided tour of the museum itself is so much fun! There is so much to see and so much history inside of it to learn about

Loved the museum. It had something for everyone cars or how the cars are produced. Also a car you can sit in and take pictures, Interesting to visit museum and explore all the cars inside.

Amazing to see the cars and displays. We did a tour of the plant and museum in the same day. Museum is good for all ages!

One bad start tainted our visit. We paid online ahead of time for five admission tickets and five simulations. Once we entered the museum, the lady at the counter was very nice and helpful by communicating to us about the museum and the simulator. She gave us the tip about checking to see how long the wait was for the simulator to decide if we should go first or after our museum tour. Based on the line, we decided to do the simulator first. As we stood in line to wait, the ride operator did not acknowledge our party of fiveās presence. A few minutes later, a couple walked right past us to give the operator their ticket. As he took their ticket, I said, āExcuse me, we were here waiting first.ā The lady in the couple stated that they were just trying to put their name on the list to ride. I stated thatās what we were trying to do also. The ride operator still took their ticket and asked us to write our names down on his list. (I didnāt think about this part until later, but we were the only ones who had to write our own names on the listā¦the ride operator wrote everyone elseās names down). After the current riders in the simulator exited, the couple breezed past us and got in the simulator. When I spoke up again to the ride operator that we were there waiting before them, he stated, āYes yāall are next after them.ā š³š¤Øš¤ This initial experience put a VERY SOUR taste in our mouths to begin our tour. I canāt definitively say that our race had anything to do with this experience, but we were the only black family in the whole museum during this time.
After the simulator, as we walked toward the opening of the museum, the gentlemen who greeted us were very pleasant and showed us how to pull up the map of the museum on our phones. As we went through the museum, our three children were engaged the entire time and even paid attention during the 15 minute history video. Towards the end of the museum, there is an interactive part that we all enjoyed. The sinkhole exhibit was amazing to see. I loved how they included so much of this major event into the museum.
Outside of the simulator incident, the museum tour was very engaging for all of us. We would give the tour itself 5 stars, but the simulation experience 1 star just based on the ride operator.

Having worked for a GM dealer, I always intended to stop here. Today we did. This is an experience like no other. If you are familiar with the cars that fell into the hole and the fact that the 1,000,000 and the 1,500,000 Corvettes were two of the cars. On display are the cars that were destroyed, an explanation of what happened, actual video of the security cameras as they captured the event. You can preorder a Corvette and pick it up here yourself.

We had John C. for a tour guide and he was very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job! We are so glad he was leading our group.

While I personally don't ~love~ car exhibits, members of my family do so we had to make a stop at the National Corvette Museum. I was surprised at how impressed I was- this is a really well done museum. The car theme is immediately apparent when you first enter, and there was an opportunity for a photo op with a car. The exhibits are well-kept and very colorful, with informative plaques next to each car highlighting particular features. I particularly loved walking through the Motorama exhibit where the car was first introduced. These aren't cars just thrown around an open space, but are rather encompassed in themed exhibits. Of course, they feature a car that was destroyed in the sinkhole in 2014 and you can even peer down a saved part of the sinkhole. Pretty cool.
Overall, a must-see for the car enthusiast, but even if you don't love car exhibits, you'll still find something worthwhile in this museum.

Buyer beware! We visited the Corvette Museum before Christmas 2021. While the museum was great, we had a TERRIBLE experience with the gift shop. We bought over $350 worth of goods and initially planned to buy a bag to put the goods in to travel home. The register staff suggested that they send the items to our home for free. We stated that we would not be home until the week of January 3. They stated that wouldn't be a problem and they could delay the shipment to arrive that week. Well.... it appears they shipped the same day, it arrived to my house on December 30 or 31 and was stolen from my porch. The package was stolen within hours of it arriving. The management REFUSED to re-send the items or provide a merchant credit. This is absolutely terrible that they do not back the actions of their employees. We were perfectly prepared to spend MORE MONEY to purchase a bag to transport our goods home and it was the suggestion of their employees to ship. There are two concerns I have - (1) In this day and age of shipping goods, to not have a policy (as almost every other vendor has) of accounting for stolen goods is completely antiquated in my opinion and (2) most concerning is the INTEGRITY of management to not back the actions of their employees. DO NOT ship items if you are not prepared to grab your package immediately upon arrival or you may lose out completely on your money and your items.

An amazing experience. A beautiful collection of Corvettes. Highly recommended. Well worth the admission. The collection of Calloway Corvettes was incredible.

My husband and I personally loved it. My son (6) wanted to rush through everything and since he can't really read, was a little bit antsy. He did love the education center and drawing his own car. And don't even get me started on how happy he was to be given hot wheels when we checked in! Don't really recommend for kids his age unless they can pay attention to the cars or lets be honest, a little calmer than my boy. I think a few more things for kids to do along the path may have helped curb this

Went on Plant tour with Jackson. Was a great trip he was very knowledgeable.if you have a chance to do corvette assembly plant tour. Very worthwhile.

Not a Corvette guy, but place is very good. Great exhibits, superb photos, interesting galleries (such as concepts, design, origins, etc). Friendly staff. Definitely recommend it! ššš Lines at simulators and Stringray Grill can take a while.

We did the guided tour with our teenage sons. Our guide, Nate, did a great jobā¦very personable and lots of interesting info. The boys also did the simulator, and my hubby and I rode as their passengers (no charge for passengers). We also got to see a couple of people get the āmuseum deliveryā of their new Corvettes and drive them down the hallway. All around it was worth the stop!

We attended the NCM's 30th anniversary celebration which was done extremely well considering many thousands were attending. There were air-conditioned shuttles from parking areas, clean bathrooms and air-conditioning inside the museum. There could've been more places to sit or stand and eat. Outside large tent for sitting and eating was helpful, but could've used large fans to circulate the air. Unfortunately, it was over 100 degrees through the first four days of the event making it difficult to shop anywhere outside which wasn't the museum's fault. We were so glad to be part of this historic celebration.

A major event on my trip was a visit to the National Corvette Museum. What a sight to behold. The place was filled with dozens of classic Corvettes through the ages. There was an exhibit explain the events and outcomes of the day the Corvette Cave-In occurred (12 February 2014). Sadly, it was look and donāt touch. No āfreeā samples to take home, just memories. Our visit concluded with a BBQ dinner.

Had a great time reviewing the history and current vehicles. The museum is well organized and modern looking inside and out. The pictures of the sinkhole and the story of how they recovered from it were eye opening.

Visited this Museum back in 1996 when it was only new...has now come a long way with interactions running C8s and much much more... a must visit for the Corvette enthusiast like me...great gift shop at the end...
Ron from Australia

Well worth your while! We spent a whole day there. So enjoyable!! Loved watching the new cars being picked up by the owners. We ate at the cafe in the museum. The food was delicious!

We were super disappointed in the museum. We drove to Kentucky from South Texas so figured we'd visit the corvette museum while there. WELL being the planner that I am I made sure of their hours. Which is 9-5. Well we got there at 430. Yes they were near closing but I made it clear to the not so friendly lady that we only wanted to see the sink hole. As if that would take 30 minutes. She said "absolutely not" and "out there is free" pointing at the 4 corvettes in their lobby area. All our followers said we didn't miss much but just wish they'd say "last admittance" if they won't let people in after a certain time. Definitely won't visit next year when we are back in town for another festival.

I took my father to visit the museum, and even though I am not a Corvette fan, I really enjoyed the museum. They had some of the most beautiful vintage cars I have ever seen. I didn't realize this was the place where the sinkhole swallowed quite a few corvettes a couple of years ago. My Dad really enjoyed his time here and I would definitely recommend visiting this museum.

This was a super cool museum! While Iām not a huge car enthusiast, it was still super cool to see all of the beautiful Corvettes up close, and learn about the companyās history. Will definitely be back!

if you are a fan of Corvettes this must be The Holy Grail. beautifully laid out exhibition areas. To look into the sinkhole where eight very expensive cars disappeared was
amazing. Although factory only a short distance away, no free samples.

It's a nice place to visit, people walking around are so friendly, real Corvette enthusiastics. Lots to see, would be better if they have staff to tell you a little about some of the cars.

The museum was suited for car enthusiasts. There was a video car race for all to experience. Admission is reasonable. Lots of corvette history. Many models of cars. Staff are friendly and pleasant.

My husband is a big Corvette fan. He was so excited to visit this place. While yes it had a lot of displays, it was still disappointing for the cost. We stopped and read most of the displays, watched the video of the sink hole and was still done in an hour

First I have to say that Iām not into cars. But my friends are so thatās why I was there. Some neat cars but maybe more interactive things would make the non-car enthusiast interested

We aren't car enthusiasts, but we enjoyed the stories about the people involved in developing the brand and would have enjoyed more stories about unique Corvette owners. The sinkhole exhibit was pretty fascinating.

All the cars with the information for each one was really interesting. There are videos in different sections. The "hole" from the collapse was literally a 1 foot by 1 foot hole covered with glass in the middle of the floor. I thought it would be larger and that you could see down it...but all I could see was the ladder. It was cool to see how large the hole was compared to the room. Beware of the photo people. We were grabbed as soon as we walked in and the booth at the end bumped up our package from basic to the next level. I didn't catch it until we left. Overall an interesting visit as long as you know what to expect. My husband had to be pulled out, I think he would have stayed all day.

Visited the museum with our child and our grandkids. It was interesting and enjoyed watching a couple that were taking delivery of their new yellow z06 convertible. Bought some t-shirts and other gifts in the gift shop. The grandkids thought it was cool looking at the sinkhole that swallowed up all this corvettes in 2014. I bight two raffle tickets and fingers crossed I win a c8. Hereās to hoping!!

Love, looking at the history of Corvettes to where they are built now. Wish we could at least sit in one, but they donāt allow it seeing the sinkhole kind of freaked me out.

Great Bucket List Item!!!
A bit pricey with admission but still a great place for the hard core Corvette connoisseurs :-)

The National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky, is a must-visit destination for automotive enthusiasts and history buffs alike. The museum's extensive collection of Corvettes spanning decades of production is truly impressive, showcasing the evolution of this iconic American sports car. From classic models to concept cars and limited editions, there's something to captivate visitors of all ages.
The interactive exhibits offer a deeper understanding of the Corvette's legacy and the engineering marvels behind each generation. The museum's layout is well-designed, providing ample space to explore and admire the vehicles from every angle.
The highlight of the museum is undoubtedly the Corvette Cave-In exhibit, which documents the infamous sinkhole incident in 2014. It's a testament to the resilience of both the museum and the Corvette community.
While the museum offers an enriching experience, some areas could benefit from additional signage or information to enhance the visitor's understanding. Nonetheless, the National Corvette Museum is a four-star destination that celebrates the rich history and enduring legacy of America's favorite sports car.

We had a group tour as a part of a business trip. Many of us were not car buffs but were along for the package. Of course all of us had heard of the sinkhole and a few had questions. Our guide gave limited responses, referring us to online information. He even said.ā We are the Corvette Museum not the Sinkhole Museum.ā It was widely publicized that attendance greatly increased after the sinkhole so if they want to keep that attendance up, maybe they should capitalize more on the sink hole. Just my opinion.

My Husband and I are very big car enthusiasts, and I absolutely love corvettes, so we made this a must see stop on our trip. Iām glad we did! The tickets arenāt that expensive, and the tours they offer are amazing! Victoria did our tour, and she was wonderful, very friendly and knowledgeable. Her jokes were very funny and when I come back we will definitely sing with the great acoustics in the cave. They also gave you earbuds to listen to the tour easier. Itās a sensory inclusive experience, and I think thatās great.

Very fun to fawn over the cars and learn more about the history. The cave in exhibit, restoration, and outlining were well done. We also did the driving simulator- very cool, hard with a loose wheel, but super fun.

We purchased tickets in advance online for the Museum and the Guided Tour. At 10AM, which was the first tour time of the morning, we began the tour. The tour guide gave each of us a communication pack to hang around our neck and headphones so that we could hear him.
The tour guide was very thorough. However, there were several Corvette lovers in our group and they called out the tour guide for several inaccuracies. If you are a Corvette fan, or even a car enthusiast, you will enjoy the museum tour. If you are not, buying a ticket to the museum is more than sufficient.
Parking is free.
There is a restaurant inside the museum with decent food at reasonable prices if you get hungry or thirsty. (Reasonable for a museum, that is.) There are also picnic tables outside so that you can eat your food from the restaurant outside.

First of all, we have two Corvettes a C4 (1992) and a C6 (2012). We were part of the Corvette Caravan from the Pacific Northwest who drove to Bowling Green for the 25th anniversary of the museum in 2019. This Caravan happens only every 5 years. There were 5000 Corvettes there from all parts of the USA and even some from Canada and Australia. It was amazing to see that number of Vettes in one spot. It was once n a life time experience.
There s nothing like owning one of these cars and also to drive one. Love love my Vettes.
This was long before COVID reared its UGLY head.

More things to do, and ever changing and expanding displays and exhibits at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Gift shop with everything you need for Corvette enthusiasts.
Bookstore, and now open the new Stingray Grill with lots of delicious menu items, including great burgers, sandwiches and salads.
Breakfast too. You can see the "museum delivery" of the beautiful new mid-engine C8 Corvette that has rocked the sports car world since its debut in 2020. Dozens of other Corvettes on display from the iconic car's 68 years of history.
Plenty of convenient off street free parking. Highly recommended for the whole family.

It's all about Corvettes! We stayed here for about an hour and-a-half (maybe two) and we really enjoyed looking at the history and the transformation of the Corvette. You also get to witness new owners drive their Corvettes out of the museum. That was kind of cool -- just to see the smiles was priceless.

Absolutely blown away but this museum. So much history in 1 place. Lots of activities for our 14 yr old to do as well. She really enjoyed the racing simulator. can't wait for the cafe to open back up. Came here 2 yrs ago, and the museum displays changed in that time.

Great displays of these cars from all model. Presentation of the big sink hole episode was dramatic. Fun to see the new Corvettes waiting for delivery to their owners.

Well presented with lots of history and great displays. I loved how they have handled and capitalized on the sinkhole event. They really created a wonderful experience around that. My husband loved the entire museum. We were also impressed that the gift shop prices were not insane. High, but not insane.

Great museum for car people. The 70 year history of the Corvette is extensive, and you can learn all of it there. Special displays are there occasionally, add ing to the interest. As a Corvette owner I found out about things I didn't know before, so there's an educational aspect for everyone. Gift shop, and restaurant, add an all inclusive air to the experience. Plan on spending a good part of your day there.

Lots of fun - the Guided Tour was well worth the money.
Thank you Victoria!!! Though - agree to disagree about the C4 Corvette. They were not so bad. :). :)

I learned many things I didn't know about the history of corvettes. Seeing how the car styles were developed from drawings to ready to roll was interesting.

We watched the video about the museum sinkhole in 2014 ahead of time and it was so interesting. Our museum visit was great. The museum in laid out with a great path to follow. The cars are interesting beautiful. They do a great job with the history of Corvettes through the years. There are food options inside the museum if you wish to grab a lunch or a snack. there is plenty of parking and the location is easy in and out.You could easily spend a few hours if you wanted to get into the depth of every exhibit.

We checked out the museum between soccer games and it was worth going! We enjoyed the museum and the kids loved seeig all the cars from the 50's forward.

A great spot for a car enthusiast to visit. As a wife of a car enthusiast, I also enjoyed the spot. The exhibit about the sink hole incident that occurred years ago was fascinating. The gift shop had tons of unique items.

We took a guided tour with our guide Anita. We made it in about a quarter til one, purchased a 2:00pm tour. We were able to wander around the museum until it was time for the tour. We learned a lot about Corvettes. Enjoyed looking at all of the vehicles. There is a snack bar and restaurant inside. It seems pretty cool that people can pick up their vehicles from the museum.

What an amazing place! Even if you donāt own a Corvette, which we donāt sadly, itās full of history of this fabulous car and the wonderful models that have come out of the company. We spent hours looking and it was time well spent. I even bought a T shirt š

Great place for car lovers!! More interactive than I would have thought. The motorsports park is very fun! Go Karting was a hit

Very well done! The museum was the right size - long enough to make it a great visit! The details were so well done. Learned a lot!

Well, the museum was ok. It had a bunch of cars to get close to, but it didn't have much in the way of roving docents to ask questions to. I really thought I would learn more about Corvette than I did.
My bigger problem was the plant tour. There's a website that looks official saying you can go in the plant tours by going straight to the factory. Apparently that's not quite true. When you get to the factory you can pay for a tour but it also includes the museum. I had already paid and seen the museum so I didn't want to pay again. It's $50 which to me at least was too much for what was effectively just the plant tour.
It's crazy to me that gm has outsourced the factory tour to the museum, but that seems to be what's happened.
So for you, number one lesson, don't pay a 3rd pay for your museum tickets. There's no reason to. Just buy from the museum and decide if the extra for the factory for is worth it to you or not.

Amazing. So much Corvette history. We will be back hopefully to pick out a C8 for home use The staff was amazing too. Restaurant has great food

We went as a family to build memories together with our youngest son who is graduating this year it was a great experience especially when I out raced him in the simulation cars

The display of Corvettes and Corvette powered sports carsas well as the historic vehicles as top notch. The concepts were beautiful.
The display of the sinkhole damaged cars was a fitting tribute.

Cool museum for a cool car.
Tells the story of the Corvette, from early prototype via racing til todayās models.
Friendly staff.
Clean toilets

Well curated collection telling the story of how Corvette came to be and how they've developed through the years. Beautiful collection. Wish the plant tours were available when we visited.

This was roughly my 10th time at the NCM, but the first in a couple of years (we are Corvette enthusiasts). I was super impressed by the updates and enhancements that the NCM has accomplished. The changing display screens in the dome room just make the place POP. The museum is huge, has great and varying displays and has really done a great job on lighting and adding tech to their presentations. Well worth a visit ($16.00 for seniors). A great store at the end of the tour and they also have a cafe and snack shop. You can get some great photos as well. HIGHLY recommend!

Really cool place with interesting history!! We enjoyed our visit! Some displays are interactive and are cool to do with your kids that love cars. Iād rate 5 stars honestly but somebodiys got to get in there and wipe finger prints!

Very informative, very clean. Got to watch a new owner take delivery of their new corvette and that was interesting to watch. Enjoyed the sinkhole display and information the most.

If you love corvettes, this is the place to go. There is almost information overload with the exhibits and films. There were corvettes for sale in the entry hall if anyone is shopping. My favorite exhibit was about the sink hole in 2014 that swallowed up several cars on display. The movie about the history of the corvette was interesting, also. Very informative and entertaining.

Today, I made my husband's day by taking him to the National Corvette Museum. As a Corvette enthusiast, he was thrilled to see so many of these iconic cars in one place. He was like a kid in a candy store, eagerly examining each car and learning about its history. The visit was a great way to connect with my husband and share in his passion for Corvettes.
The Museum was awesome! Didnāt disappoint me!

Such an interesting tour for anyone--not just Corvette enthusiasts! Loved the history shared! Looking forward to returning with family in the future.

My wife and I did the tour for the Plant and Museum, we highly recommend doing both. The customer service we received was amazing and everyone was helpful/knowledgeable. Museum has some awesome items to learn about, definitely a MUST STOP and MUST SEE.

Very cool museum about the iconic American sports car. Special exhibits throughout the year, and you don't need to be a car or corvette enthusiast to enjoy the museum. Lots of "history" to learn while you're there. Completely handicap accessible, and you'll need about 1.5 hours. Enjoy!

They offer guided tours twice a day and it is worth it. Just be sure you get there in enough time before or after the tour to watch the 15 minute video which is not part of the guided tour. The employees there weren't very helpful and we had to figure this out on our own. I wish they would have been more informative so we could have watched the full video before beginning the tour. The interactive simulated drive was enjoyable for my 14 year old. Paulette was a great tour guide. She added a lot of local flavor you would have missed by doing the self-guided tour.

Absolute heaven for anyone with interest in Corvettes - current or the very original. The sinkhole experience is pretty cool and viewing the sinkhole cars recovered was shocking.

My daughter and I are not car lovers by any means but really loved this place. It was nice to follow the history of Corvettes. There were also other cars there. Seeing the sink hole and how things happened was interesting.

We've previously owned 2 Corvettes so this was a must do stop. Very informative tour and exhibit. With the recent tornado, we weren't able to go to the manufacturing plant or racetrack.

Iām not a diehard Vette fan but I enjoyed this museum. Some of the cars you look at and think āniceā the there are some you wish you could take for a spin! A good history of the car.

They referred me to the Hotel Sync nearby and the hotel scammed me out of $100. Dont get a hotel reference from them

Went here for the 30th anniversary National Corvette Museum Caravan and celebration, and had an amazing time visiting for the week. I would love to come back here with less of the chaos of activities to take more of my time through the museum. Wonderfully displayed museum with great information with signage and interactive videos.
The only thing I have to say is better communication for the Gallery next to the gift shop about no photography, I understand getting brought to the attention about no photography for the pictures on the wall, but nothing for signage was next to the cars sitting in the gallery and was told no pictures in the room by a volunteer. Wasnāt clear if i could take pictures of the cars themselves. But saw other people taking pictures of the cars in the room with their phones and not being yelled at for that like I was.

We were pleasantly surprised to learn that the weekend of our visit was the 27th anniversary of the museum. We got to see some awesome new models, and many Corvette enthusiasts were there with their gorgeous cars. Loved seeing a wide range of the models!
The museum itself is amazing if you're a Corvette owner and fan. So many great historical treats to enjoy. The sinkhole exhibit is quite interesting. I had almost as much fun as my boys, and they had an absolute blast.

Went to the Museum as part of a family road trip. Spent several hours inside. The displayed vehicles were awesome. The sink hole exhibits were unbelievable. Also it was cool to see the new owners picking up their cars from the museum. My son and I did the driving simulator in a head to head race. It was a lot of fun. We also lunch in the Cafe attached to the museum. The food and service were both great. I would go here again if we ever pass back through Bowling Green.

I stopped here because others recommended it! I figured it was just another car museum, but I was pleasantly surprised! It was great! I wish I had time to tour the factory!

Many members of our Lone Star Corvette Club attended the NCM Bash event in April. This special event includes museum displays, seminars, special awards dinners, and displays. The multiple-day event allows time to attend numerous tours arraigned by the museum. A special recognition dinner is held for people who have donated to the museum during the past year.

The history here is amazing. What a great place to visit and so much to see. The sink hole exhibit was fascinating

This museum and cafe was a nice visit. Good, reasonably priced food (we paid card) and the exhibits were easy-to-follow and engaging. Wheelchair accessible. Free parking.
We bought tickets online and the weirdest part about it is that they are good for whenever...no specific date or time...just whenever, for an entire year. Tickets to here would be a great gift to someone interested or relatively local/planning to travel locally.
The Corvettes that experienced the sink hole is what intrigued us most. I've been on multiple cave tours that reference the sinkhole here so we had to check it out. I really, really love that they DIDN'T fix 5 out of the 8 affected cars. I understand they were beyond repair, but they are incredibly fascinating to witness in their current condition.
At the Cafe, the grilled cheese with bacon/jalepenos/swiss/BLACKBERRY JAM???? was pretty good.

Seeing my new 2023 Corvette for the first time on Corvette Boulevard was an exciting experience. My host, Larry, was great and did an excellent job of explaining all the features of my car. He gave us a personal tour of the museum and was very knowledgeable about all the cars. Definitely the way to get a new Corvette.

This is a great museum! The cars are so beautiful. You can see the ones as you come in that are being delivered to new customers that were made next door in the plant. In the museum they have so many unique cars older and newer corvettes. The part showing the cave in from 2014 is very informative and awesome. They had a great Hot Wheels area perfect for kids for a couple of months. They also have a great giftshop at the end! This is a great place to visit!

Such rich history of the Corvette! Easy to walk around on your own time!! Recommend to see at least once!

I have to admit a certain prejudice in that I think the Corvettes of the 50s and 60s were amazing. When they began to grow and become bigger to the behemoths that they are now I lost interest.
For a true Corvette fan this is Mecca. There are all sorts of models on display with good histories and explanations.
My favorite part is the early development and the amazing cutaway of the 53 Corvette that was rescued.
We saw at least 15 brand new Corvettes awaiting their owners.
We were disappointed that the Corvette assembly line was not available for viewing. Again this is a Corvette lovers dream and you could easily spend 2 to 3 hours here.

Every car guy needs to Visit the National Corvette Museum. Great display showing the history of the Corvette as well as the story of the "Floor Colapse" and being able to see not only the cars that were saved and restored, but to see the ones that were too badly damaged to repair.

Definitely worth the trip. We arenāt car enthusiasts, but glad we stopped. Lots of corvettes and a lot of history provided. Even has a simulator that you can drive and race the car next to you.

We got here early, when we left it was very busy. There was a large parking lot, we walked past 2022 Vetteās that are being picked up today. Before paying admission we walked past the corvette library, archives, conference center, Stingray Grill, huge gift shop & bathroom that followed the corvette theme. Corvettes are manufactured here in Bowling Green, delivered and repaired. We paid $15 and spent :90 here.
We saw a lot of pristine corvettes identified by year, model & engine. We saw race cars, concept cars, those with famous owners & some that were damaged in the 2014 sinkhole. There were some interactive exhibits, a simulator for $10 and a childrenās play area.
We ended in a huge gift shop with the usual hats & caps, plus toys, bar ware, furniture, models, manuals, clothing, car parts, housewaresā¦. Items can be purchased on line.

I'm so glad we decided on a whim to stop at the Corvette Museum as we were passing through the area. What a beautiful museum! Everything is laid out so thoughtfully, and the cars are stunning. It is meticulously clean. I loved the addition of the sinkhole into the museum grounds and learning about that incident. Price of admission was also super reasonable!

We took the guided tour then walked around by ourselves for a while. I would recommend buying the guided tour. Worth the extra $5. Do the guided tour first then you can go back to the areas where you want to see and read more, it's a better use of your time. We hung out in the hall way for a while and watched the new owners taking possession of their new C8 Corvettes. It was fun to watch the smiles on their faces as they drove out of the building. The restaurant was closed the day we were there, but there is a snack bar with sandwiches and chips.

I had always wanted to go to the corvette museum because I love corvettes. I've never had one and will never get one at my age but being at the museum and seeing the progression of corvettes throughout the years was making my heart skip a beat. I highly recommend you go and mark it off your to-do list!!!!

Beautiful
Nostalgic
Interesting
Enjoyed it all !!!
Went across street to Arts corvettes
Drove from Central Texas to explore Kentucky

We had a great time with 2 adults and 2 kids. Greeted by Wesley at the door and he took our picture and answered all our questions. ;)
We were there celebrating an 8 yr olds birthday and when we told the ticket taker that they brought him a free poster! He was SO excited. The kids enjoyed designing their own corvette and seeing their art projected up on the wall!
We all learned some history and really enjoyed looking at all the different models and specialty corvettes!
I was pleasantly surprised at affordable souvenirs in the gift shop and the take home photo. ;)

We thoroughly enjoyed this museum. It was a perfect Fatherās Day activity. It was more than just seeing and reading about Corvettes, we experienced what it felt like to drive one in their simulator! We also enjoyed the design your own Corvette section. My grandson loved it. All around it was fun for the whole family.

It's pretty cool. This would've been a 5-star rating but for the "simulator" thing. When you walk in, at least through the entrance we chose, you immediately see a simulator with two (real) yellow Corvettes. You can "drive" them in a racing video game for approximately 4 1/2 minutes. What we weren't told in advance was that you have to pay extra for the simulator experience (and $15 for less than 5 minutes seems like a ripoff to me), and that even if you want to buy tickets, there may be so many people lined up in front of you (even if they're not waiting there) that you can't buy a ticket right away. So you go in, and if you have easily excitable kids, this sets them up for an immediate letdown (and if you're us, for a whole-museum experience of the kids constantly asking to go back to the simulator and see if they can get tickets now). Then when you go back at the time that you were told to go back, you might find, as we did, that they oversold tickets to the simulator and you can't get one at all. So it starts out as a letdown for the kids and ends as a letdown for the kids. Poorly planned, I say.
But beyond that, it's pretty well what you would expect. Plenty of rare Corvettes, including some that you've seen in books. They left a small area of the 2014 sinkhole unfilled, surrounded by a concrete pipe and covered with a see-through floor so that you can safely see how far down the sinkhole went. If you take easily excitable kids, dress them in bright colors and write down what they are wearing, before you enter. The displays have definitely been taken to the next level since the last time I went there more than 15 years ago.

Even though we are Mustang lovers, we thoroughly enjoyed viewing the evolution of the American icon Corvette. There are displays dedicated to racing, Corvettes in American culture (most interesting) and design modelling. Well worth the stop immediately off of I-65.

This place is fantastic. Even if your not a corvette or car buff you will enjoy this. So much history really interesting about this car started out. Loved the story of the cave in and the actual pictures and cars that were in it.

Although I am not a Corvette fanatic, I am a car aficionado and was looking forward to stopping here as part of a multi day trip. The building is quite nice and there are some great classic vettes here. If you are a Corvette fan, you'll love it. The collection is a bit on the small side, however, and going through it takes little time. I thought there would be more information about the history of the car and it's various iterations. Given the size, the entry fee of $18 for adults was too much. The Lane Museum in Nashville is less glitzy, but has a massive collection that is much bigger and it only costs $12 for adults. Vette fans will not care, but general auto buffs like me may likewise find it too small.

Shane and his team were great to deal with. Shane went out of his way to handle some issues for me and I could not be happier.

Loved seeing all Corvettes but didn't find color of my previous color....British Racing Green. Now own my 4th Corvette.

If you want to see the American sport car this is the ultimate. Very informative and could have stayed longer. Well worth your time and money for this great venue.

Hoping my review title would catch your eye ⦠ānot a big fan.ā By that, I meant I am not really a big corvette fan; however, I found this museum stop very interesting and fun! To see the styles through the years, to see the sinkhole section , to see the corvettes waiting to be picked up by their new owners ⦠all of those things made this a great stop! And I really liked the Corvette Hall of Fame! This was a fun stop to make and who knows?? I may become a big corvette fan after all! Very nice Museum!

Even if you don't own a Corvette or care that much about cars, this museum still is very engaging. Best of all is the videos and information about the sink hole. They show you the recovery of each car and explain what happened to it. When we were there, one of the cars that was too damaged to feasibly repair was on display. There's also a ton of information about the development of the Corvette. The social and economic influences are fascinating, even if the technical info about the car is not enough to grab you. They also have a great activity area for kids. The staff was terrific -- accommodating and helpful.

Last time we visited was just after the sinkhole. It's amazing to see how far they've come, to a fully-restored museum. If you like corvettes this is definitely a stop you need to make. Well worth it.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Corvette museum. A great mix of general motors and Corvette history.
There is a great display of Corvettes from each generation. The staff was very friendly and willing to help or provide information.
It was great to be there during the week (Monday morning) The crowd was very small. The museum delivery area was also very cool.
As a Corvette enthusiast I really enjoyed it, as did, my wife.
If you donāt plan to read every placard, itās really about a 75 minute tour. If you read everything, you could probably spend half a day.

If you love cars this is a great experience. The history of the Corvette is a wonderful study. The sink hole is outlined on the floor of the museum. It's huge. They placed a round plexiglass viewing hole so that you could see the depth of the sink hole. It was DEEP. Some of the cars on display were ones retrieved from the sink hole, still covered in mud and dirt. Key area was the exit lane with 8 Corvettes lined up for delivery. People must order them from their local dealer and opt to pick them up at the factory. They can still get the tour but just them. No tours for the general public yet. Amazing to watch the folks there go over all the things about the car. Hearing them when they are cranked is an experience too. Amazing what horsepower one can buy for between $90,000 and
$130,000. Cost was reasonable. Great parking for motorhomes too.

Its a pretty cool museum. We stayed for about 45 mins, but we didnāt hurry through or spend a ton of time at any one exhibit.

My husband is a corvette guy so it was a spur of the moment road trip we decided to take. The museum was pretty cool. Being able to learn about the history of the car as well as watch the progression was great. The grounds are well kept and the staff is extremely friendly. Purchased raffle tickets on the way out (didnāt win either car), gift shop has the normal offerings. Worth the stop if if you are Corvette enthusiasts.

Enjoyed our stop here just before Father's Day. Museum is well done w/a variety of displays. We especially liked the section describing the cave in and how the recovery was done. Very interesting and fun!

If you love corvettes, this is a must experience tour. Every vintage of corvette with a comprehensive historical journey of the iconic car. Plan to spend 2+ hours absorbing corvette knowledge.

Great trip to the museum. My grand daughter, who is 9 also enjoyed it. It was very interesting for the whole family on the history as well as the new corvette's to see.

The museum sits in a 115,000 square foot building. It features 80 Corvettes (of all years including concepts) and almost any memorabilia you can think of affiliated with the iconic brand.
It has a restoration shop, nostalgia exhibit, kidās zone, and a nursery where new owners can pick up their cars in the lobby.
An unusual exhibit is the Skydome. This holds the Corvette Hall of Fame and many one-of-a-kind Corvettes including the only .
1983 model and a Vette with a V-12 engine. The attention-getter here are several destroyed Corvettes.
These cars were victims of a 35-foot sinkhole that opened up at 5:44 AM on February 12, 2014. Victim of the cave-in at Corvette Museum in Bowling Green Kentucky. This included the one-millionth Corvette that was restored. The other Vettes look as if they were bombed. The gift shop has everything you can think of for vette fans

Wonderful facility. Wide variety of beautiful and varied cars. Very clean museum. Info on each of cars was awesome. Was a great day!

This is a first-rate museum dedicated to America's sports car. The exhibits are truly impressive, and the experience gives you a full treatment of Corvette history and the men and women who are connected to this iconic car. Well worth your time.

We visited as a family on New Year's Eve 2022. We showed up just after opening on a rainy day and there was plenty of close parking.
Because of the quasi-holiday, we waited to buy tickets on-site. We went on a guided tour. You can wander the front museum area while waiting or the huge gift shop. There's also a simulator game, which is overpriced, of course. Star off.
You have to wear a headphone and an audio pack in the tour group. Those earbuds are always uncomfortable for me and the museum wasn't very loud or crowded. Star off.
My partner and stepfather are both big car people, while my mom and I enjoy history and tours. Our tour guide was fine, with a few good jokes. However, my partner said she got a lot of Corvette and general auto history facts wrong. So keep that in mind. Star off.
I did learn about the sinkhole at the museum for the first time, so that was cool. There are also a lot of really cool cars with interesting designs. I also bought a plastic commemorative cup for $1 so that amused me.

A bit expensive for what is there. If you like cars it is worth the time to visit once. This was my second time and I doubt I will go again. The history is interesting and they have some cool cars but none you can sit in or look at close enough.

As a passionate Corvette owner and enthusiast, visiting the museum was an absolute thrill! It was my very first time there, and I couldn't wait to soak in all the excitement. Watching other owners take delivery of their stunning cars was a heartwarming experience. The joy on their faces as they were driven off Corvette Boulevard by the museum representative, to the cheers and applause of staff and visitors alike, was simply unforgettable! And the best part? I discovered that owners of older Corvettes can enjoy this incredible experience too!
The museum is a treasure trove, showcasing remarkable moments, influential people, and legendary vehicles from over 70 years of Corvette history. I found the exhibits to be highly informative and engaging! My absolute favorite was the sinkhole exhibit. Seeing the cars that had fallen in, along with the ones that had been restored, was captivating. They even installed a glass porthole in the floor, revealing how deep the sinkhole was ā a sight that genuinely took my breath away!
Every member of the museum staff I encountered was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making my visit all the more enjoyable. I had such a fantastic time that I'm already looking forward to going back! Iām excited about experiencing a museum delivery firsthand when I finally take delivery of my 2025 Z06. The anticipation is building, and I know it will be another memorable moment!

Husband being a car guy, of course we had to stop being in the area. Very clean facility. Did the self tour. I enjoyed the unique cars and stories and of course the sink hole exhibit. My husband enjoyed everything else. Watching people in the simulator was a great laugh. A little expensive.

The museum is very clean. Some construction otherwise most of the displays were good. But ALL about corvettes. Small section of the museum about the sink hole.

Such beautiful cars. I didn't want to leave. Great history of the development of the car for the first one to the 2026 model. So many cars. Such detail. We spent nearly 3 hours.

Great place to visit - nice cars. The collapse portion of the museum is interesting, but from what I understand they are doing away with that part because they don't want to be known only for the collapse. The Corvettes are historical and beautiful.

The museum is well organized and clean. The tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. A definite must see museum even if you're not a vette person. And you can see the sink hole.

A well done museum. If you're a Corvette enthusiast it is great. If you're a car enthusiast it is interesting for sure. In addition to the history of the Corvette at this time there was a display of celebrity owned Vettes. The on site diner looked nice but we did not have time to give it a try as we had a factory tour scheduled.

Have been here four times in the past 7 years and they change out the exhibits every time keeping it fresh. Always nice to see the new corvettes being delivered.

Brought my in-laws with us on a visit. Had a great time seeing all the old cars. The most interesting part for me was the cave-in area where you get to see the cars that fell into the hole. We went on a day when there were very few people there and had a blast!

Enjoyed very much! Lots of history. Disappointed that couldn't do the simulation in the lobby because there were too many others in the museum that had reserved it but had not shown up to do it.

An interesting museum to visit, and not only for corvette fans. It displays around 70 cars and you can also see the sinkhole (a sinkhole opened below the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky, on Feb. 12, 2014.).
It takes around 60 minutes to watch it.
The expo is nice I would though expect more cars, or more interaction included in the ticket price.

Excellent stop on way to Nashville
Son loved it
Daughter who was not interested ended up liking it
Sinkhole history amazing

Walking through the years with Corvette was truly awe inspiring. It was a great way to spend a morning. I am glad that they have put in a display about the sinkhole and that the survivors are back on display.

Our guide, Victoria, gave us all the facts and tidbits to make the tour very informative and interesting. I would recommend the tour and her to anybody!

The museum was very well put together, shiny and clean⦠even non-car lovers will enjoy it! Interesting exhibit on the sinkhole event! Also ate at the diner and it was excellent!

Absolutely worth a visit by corvette enthusiasts, car lovers and just about everyone else. You don't have to love cars to find this museum interesting and enjoyable. There are interactive displays, videos, interviews, memorabilia and so much more. It's a little like Disney for cars.
I highly recommend a visit.

A very nice Family trip to the Corvette Museum! -- Wonderful time and very educational. We chose the audio tour with a guide and we enjoyed knowing the "back story" of the cars and people. Our guide, Mike (?) from Chicago was super so was the rest of the staff. There are some benches for those that may need to sit at times. We were able to watch a couple pick up their new Corvette at the museum which was really neat to see the enthusiasm from staff and the new owners!
Concerns: There appeared to be a lot of people wanting to get into the sink hole portion of the museum, so perhaps this could be better organized with traffic flow to allow a tour to go into the area without all the interruption. Also, we encountered other guest visitors interrupting the tour as they are not always paying attention to the surroundings. For those that may have some mobility issues, please inform the ticket agents at the beginning or bring assistive devices that can aid in the visit. There is a lot of standing in place at times so if you're impacted by this you may want to plan ahead.

Great museum. I'm not a big car buff but liked seeing the different cars. The sinkhole part was unexpected & interesting.

Visiting all the way from Boston, MA. Weāre driving into Nashville but made it part of our itinerary for months now. We had our C8 delivered to our home last September. We wanted to feel the experience at the museum as we watched so many who were fortunate enough to have picked up their Corvettes. What an amazing experience this was.. beautiful museum from beginning to end.

This is perfect for car fanatics- like mine :) The younger crowd is free, which is great as they may not understand the history and it might be a little boring. However there are a lot of places to interact & play for adults and kids

Each time I visit the National Corvette Museum I find something new that peaks my interest. From time to time they rearrange or add new cars and displays to view. It is really a wonderful experience and well worth the stop if you are in or passing through the Bowling Green, Kentucky area.
A wonderful place to site see and to catch a meal and to dream about owning a Corvette (maybe even purchase one.)
Dr. Marc PS 63:7

This museum is awesome even if you are not a Corvette buff. Very interesting history and they even highlight the sink hole. I just missed the Guided Tour but I think I did pretty well by just reading the information available. Of course, tour guides often tell you things that aren't written on the displays. Beautiful cars and history that is part of the USA! This is a must see & do since Corvettes are not made anywhere else.

Major rip off! Donāt waste your time or your money! I took all 3 of my boys to this museum and it was $75.00 for the family. This was a major rip off and a huge waste of time and money. Do not go here!

If you're a member of the Corvette Family this is a must visit. There were vetts from the fifties to brand new 2023. It's stocked with all models and colors. I wouldn't be surprised if there is 100 million dollars worth of vehicles there. Also racing memorabilia, and plenty of hands on exhibits for the family to play with. A fully stocked gift shop. Worth a day trip, Always Chefnfly

Husband is a car fanatic so this was a must see on our trip. He was very disappointed by the lack of cars that were on display. We HIGHLY enjoyed the display/information regarding the sink hole. This was our favorite part of the musuem.

The museum has an amazing collection of Corvetteās through the years. It is very fascinating learning the history of the Corvette and being able to how the cars changed with the times and technology. The current featured exhibits were a selection of Corvettes that are/have been owned by famous people or featured in movies/shows. The other exhibit that caught our eye was a selection of photographs that featured Corvettes and was very interesting to see. We were disappointed in the fact that we were not able to purchase tickets for the simulators as the wait was 2 hours and they wanted to make it through the queue before selling more. We understood they were not sure what f they would have more slots available so I would suggest making sure that if you want to do those you purchase that ahead of time. Overall it was a great experience otherwise than that.

As a specialty museum, it was very impressive, and much larger than I expected. The displays were top quality, and the facility itself was very nice. I'm not personally a Corvette fanatic, but I do appreciate a nice sports car, and the way they showcased the cars was fun to see.

My third but not my last visit. Joined as a life member in 2003 came back after winning a corvette in 2009 now 13 years later a new and greater experience

This museum is a gem in Bowling Green. We got to walk through the corvette museum after hours. It was so cool to see Corvette through the years. Take your time throughout each exhibit and enjoy the ride, literally!

My husband & sons enjoyed our visit to the Corvette Museum while passing through Bowling Green recently. It was worth the stop for a few hours, and it exceeded everyoneās expectations. They even gave my 7-year old a little Corvette Matchbox car to take home to add to his collection!

This is a āMUST SEEā to see āAmericaās Sports Carā Past, Present, and Future! And what a future it has. Even if your not a big sports car fan, you will love the stories that you will see and read about! This was my wife and my fifth stop because the displays are frequently changing! And do the factory tour if you can! Itās absolute wonderful!!

My husband absolutely loved the experience. Heās a corvette guy so regardless of the experience he would have loved it. We utilized a guide that explained things so well. We really enjoyed the experience!

Great day spent going through the museum and seeing all the people picking up their new corvettes! A must for all Corvette lovers!!

Interesting to see all the Corvettes and learn about the history. Took about an hour to get through the entire museum. Some areas of the museum could use a little updating but otherwise nice. Would definitely recommend anyone to driving to Bowling Green.

Wow!! This museum was well laid out and so informative. You get to see so many different Corvettes and learn about the history of these amazing cars. The section detailing the sink hole was fascinating. We even got to clap and send off the new owner of a custom Corvette when they picked up their new car.

Nice place, enjoyed the items on display at the Corvette Museum. Fairly priced. Beautiful cars, clean property.

Staff and delivery of our new vehicle were awesome. Stacy and John were extremely helpful and made it a great experience.

Great experience seeing Corvettes from the early years starting in 1953 to current models and various race cars throughout the years also. Well done.

the detailed history of America's Sports Car is fantastic.
Also, having the opportunity to be a "face in the crowd" for a delivery of a new Vette to a customer is unique experience, too. Congrats to that fella with the sebring Orange C8! Very nice!
Staff is friendly and helpful. I'd plan at least 1/2 a day for the museum alone.

There are Several models to see. They had a special exhibit to explain the damage done by a sink hole. There was a movie to start, but it included commercials. You can pay to race a Corvette on a track if you are rich. I spent about an hour there. They had free parking.

Great place to visit the cars were awesome and the history about the cars was great resources. Family friendly

Nice museum. They have Corvettes from the very beginning up until current. There were people there who were picking up their Corvettes that they had built at the nearby Corvette plant. It was very informative and a nice place to visit if you haven't been there. I found it to be very interesting.

Excellent experience so well done! Many, many beautiful and rare vetted explain well. A little bit of everything for everyone. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Complete history of Corvetteās from day one. Even Gift Shop is excellent and very reasonably priced. Enjoy

We were in the area to visit the newest Buceeās location and decided to give the Corvette museum a try. I myself am not a big Corvette fan but I will say it was an interesting stop along our route. From the history of the plant relocating to the city of Bowling Green in 1981 to the sink hole collapse of 2014 this made for a good 90 minute traveling stop. They have a gift shop, a restaurant and Iād guess nearly 60-70 Corvetteās on display from several different generations of the vehicle. Not sure Iād need to revisit it but glad we did go on this day.

Excellent place for car enthusiasts, which we are not. Staff was friendly and helpful, and displays were interesting, but we would not have gone if it hadnāt been a museum included with another museum pass.
Very cool Batmobile at the end of the tour.

This is a wonderful museum. As you enter we saw 6 brand new Corvettes that were ready for pickup from their new owners. There were plaques with their names and we could see one gentleman sitting in the car getting briefed on the car. Tickets were $15 for adults which I thought was very reasonable for all we saw. You can see the first generation cars all the way to the new models. They also have some race cars on display. The 2014 sinkhole is re-created and then you can see all 8 cars affected/destroyed by the event. The dome shows how large the hole was. All very interesting. They have a nice gift shop with all things Corvette. We took our grandson and he loved all the cars. They were also demoāing tractors in the parking lot the day we were there and he loved this. You can spend anywhere from one hour to 4+ hours reading all about the cars. Open from 8am-5pm daily. We didnāt realize all Corvettes are assembled here in Bowling Green, KY.

lots to see. beautiful cars. the sink hole exhibit is extraordinary and worth the admission by itself!

This is an amazing place and experience. Educational and fun for the whole family. Definitely a stop on any vacation.

The Corvette Museum is a fascinating snapshot of US automotive history. Be sure to take the guided tour to better learn the "rest of the story" of why Corvettes have become a mystical part of our car culture. Miss Victoria gave a detailed account of the Corvette and the Museum. Bravo!

The display of lost Corvettes from the 2014 cave-in. I couldn't believe the condition of the cars on the bottom - one must have been squeezed to 1/2 its width.
While we really enjoyed seeing the vintage 'Vettes, the hall of fame that was projected onto the ceiling of the dome was really special -- it brought back memories of some of the Corvette racers from days gone by that I personally knew.

Picked up our new 2022 corvette, and wow....what an unforgettable experience! From our guided tour through the museum, to driving the car off the floor, it was truly AMAZING!

This is the second time touring the museum. They rotate the vehicles so you see different cars each time. We took the guided tour which was very explanatory.

The museum was great and very clean. We noticed that people loaned their brand new cars out to display at the museum. We went to the Motor sport race track 1/2 mile away and saw the holding area for all the new Corvettes waiting for their turn in the museum. There were over 200 cars!!! My spouse was in Corvette heaven. The museum was great, but don't miss the race track to see the large gathering of new Corvettes.

Iām not what might be called a car-guy, but this museum is totally awesome! The cars are beautiful and the history represented is equally impressive. I was especially taken with the new Corvettes lined up waiting for delivery to their new owners. The museum staff were putting on the final touches and starting up each new Vette. What a sound! And what a special experience that must be for those lucky new owners. I highly recommend this museum.

Victoria was our tour guide what a wonderful experience totally recommend a visit so much to see and do from the front door to the gift shop everyone there is kind and knowledgeable

Museum does not take long to walk through. It is expensive for what it is, especially considering some of the attractions were not operational when we were there.

My 2nd visit in four years and it never gets old. There were new exhibits that kept the museum fresh. I'll be making another visit as soon as I can.

I've been wanting to go here for over 10 years! Finally got the chance, while on vacation to Nashville. Did not disappoint! It was quite an exciting experience to see so many Corvettes of all years and models all in one place. Really enjoyed the virtual driving experience! I really thought my wife would be bored to death, but she really enjoyed as well. Well worth the trip for any Corvette enthusiast.

Display were very well put together Really like the Chip Foose Impala. Biggest disappointment was the store. The shirt that I wanted was made in China. Big label stating this. I mentioned this to the people at the checkout and they said it was to keep the cost. First off, I 80-90K for a Corvette, do you think I worry about another $10-15 for a shirt. Second, the all American car and theme throughout the museum and they sell products from China. How about buy, Made in America.

This a a neat place to stop and visit. We don't own a corvette, buy hubby does like them. After you pay watch the video first. It doesn't matter where it is at as it continues to play. It takes about 15 min and just leave when you get back to where you started. I was impressed where this car started and where it is at today. Nice facility, very clean and up to date. The sink hole experience was really informative. Bad for the cars, but that was very cool to see where it actually happened at.

This was really fun place for a short visit. This is about a two hour museum, for someone that is just generally interested, longer if you are an enthusiast. would recommend a quick stop if in the area

We had a wonderful time. Enjoyed our tour guide, Roger! The stories were fabulous and would definitely recommend going.
Honestly, I was surprised I liked it as much as I did because I am not a car person. So even if you are not a car person like me, consider going because the museum is interesting, the cars are impressive, and the guided tour made it all the better!

This Museum is an awesome place to visit. Lots and learn and lots to see. I recommend it as a must-see attraction.

I am not a Corvette guy at all, but when in Rome....and I am so glad I did. It is a fantastic museum, well laid out, easy to walk and educational in a fun way (make sure you hit the Zora section and the race team section). The sinkhole section is part of the main walk so you can't miss it and is wild.
The grounds are covered in bricks/benches/slats that groups/families buy for commemoration or just to show fandom.
They also do factory order pick up of new Corvettes, so you see people come pick up new ones, drive out and then the next round of pick ups wait in the lobby.
Really solid place.

This was a good place to visit and take in all the history of Corvettes. My dad previously owned a 1989 Corvette so it was fun to see how much they have changed over the years. Of course the partial collapse of the building due to the sinkhole was interesting, seeing how far the cars fell and the resulting condition of the cars.

A nice display of Corvette models through the years. My husband has loved this car since he first saw it in his early teens and has owned two models. He enjoyed see the original model that he fell in love with, as well as the two versions that he has owned. He felt the admission price was high but the displays were very well done.

Thought we would spent an hour or so checking out all the Vettes. Five hours later we came out. One of the best museum tours we've ever done. These guide know their stuff! Don't do the museum without the tour! Do the tour, then go back through and poke around. Oh ya, don't forget the factory tour.

They had vettes on the outside having a car show the day we went. On the inside learning about the vette history and ultimately seeing the sinkhole was amazing.

We purchased tickets not only for the museum, but also for the guided tour. The museum was interesting, but we learned a lot during the guided tour. Guided tours can have a maximum of fifteen people. While one person in our party was a Corvette fan, others in our guided tour were die-hard fans. Anytime during the tour the others in our guided tour would quiz and try to stump our tour guide with Corvette trivia. Included in the guided tour is the Corvette Cave-in where you can learn more about the sinkhole from 2014. The coolest part of the museum though is seeing Corvette owners turning on their Corvettes for the first time and driving them out of the museum. This happened twice when we were there and everyone just stood behind the velvet ropes, watched and clapped in happiness for the new Corvette owner.
Parking is free and there is plenty of it. There are also picnic tables available if you would like to have a picnic for lunch and not buy food at the museum

The tour was worth the extra time and money for sure - the guide was very knowledgeable and clearly adores Corvettes. He shared so much extra context to many of the exhibits, and was able to point out things I would have otherwise missed. The plant wasnāt open, but I think seeing that would have been interesting as well.

If youāre a Corvette fan or love sports cars this is a good spot to visit. They have classic, racing, modern and one of a kind car on display. This is where the sinkhole swallowed some cars into a cave and they have been recovered and are in their mangled display state.

We are not car enthusiasts, but do love a good museum with interesting displays. Lots of cars, and history. We spent about 3 hours here, and enjoyed it.
We had been to other museums with natural history and geology exhibits, and the Corvette Museum's educational displays on the sink hole where actually better.

Great experience. Having purchased a C8 earlier in the year, it was cool to see the whole lineage, exhibits. We are at the stingray cafe and enjoyed our time there.

We really enjoyed the museum! From seeing the Corvettes ready to go home, all of the Corvettes on display, the tributes to the various Corvette designers (would love to see some patents too), the sinkhole exhibit, the Skydome, and the Carl Casper cars. We also found some great deals in the gift shop.

Outstanding, first-rate museum. I took my father, who's always loved Corvettes, and my car savvy 10-year-old. We paid the extra $5 for a guided tour--well worth it with the stories you'll hear! Admission prices are good. We also used the Corvette simulator ($10), which was fun but not a must-do. The museum is amazing. So well organized and thorough, fascinating stories.
Also impressively clean. Definitely best to go early and take your time. Interactive kids' room was fun. Sinkhole exhibit is incredible and could be itself a museum on geology. Did not try the restaurant or snack bar but looked good. Gift shop is pricey, as museum shops usually are. It was fun watching people pick up their new Corvettes at the museum. We stayed a few miles away at Best Western Plus ($110), which was clean, comfortable, and very convenient, 10 seconds from I-65, good breakfast and pool.

We aren't huge Corvette enthiasts, but my teen boys enjoy cars. We stopped by for a bit on afternoon and it wasn't very busy at all. We were able to eat lunch at the full restaurant there and explore the entire museum in under two hours. The museum is well done but a few more hands -on components for teens might be nice. We enjoyed seeing the cars on loan from private lenders and the sink hole exhibit.

Terrific, fun, nostalgic, amazing. That's the Corvette itself, and the museum equals the importance of the cars. From #003 of 1953, to the latest mid-engined model, and everything in between, it was a fascinating visit. Pace cars, race cars, famous cars, celebrity owned cars, and as much backstory as you could hope for. Very reasonably priced ticket and good value souvenirs in the inevitable gift shop too.

We are not real big car people but I had heard this was a good museum. I was really surprised and we enjoyed it very much. They have many Corvettes from its beginng to now. I loved the car that was bricked up inside a supermarket, that was really interesting. They had a couple of cars that had been in the sinkhole, one that was redone and one that was not to show how bad they were damaged. They have a cafe but we did not go in there and a gift shop with everything Corvette. They did not leave the kids out, there is an area that has a drawing program that when your done it puts the picture up on a big screen so you can have your picture taken with it. Its a great museum I would deffanetly recommend.

enjoyable visit for young children and adults at this major destination. Great period exhibits and of course the many models of corvettes.

It was really cool to see the evolution of corvettes! I learned a lot and my husband was excited to visit the museum! Would definitely visit again!

I was very impressed with this museum. The cars were amazing. The self-guided tour was perfect for us.

Cruise through Corvette history at this great museum. There are tons if beautifully restored Corvettes dating back to the 50s providing a great walk through memory lane. Whether you love Corvettes because of their speed, beauty, or just like cars the museum is worth the trip.

We arrived at the Museum around 4:10pm and were a little concerned paying full admission since it closed at 5. Another element that caught us off guard was the inability to bring in a reusable water bottle.
As stated in the title, we are not major car lovers of any sort so we walked through fairly fast. We were finished (including the gift shop by 4:45. In regards to the gift shop, a quick shout out to Shannon who entertained our 5 year oldās silly comments (I bet I can run faster than a Corvette, OoO Really) :)
Our last activity planned to be the driving simulator (slightly outside ticket desk) which we made it to around 4:50. After standing in line for a few minutes (watching another customer take photos), the staff member informed us no more rides could occur today (this was the last ride). It certainly would have helped to understand the why behind the what (this was not offered).
Obviously, telling a 5 year old he cannot participate is never fun and we thought they were open until 5pm. If we were told in advance the last ride was 4:45pm or may have planned differently.
Another odd offer was the staff member asked if our 5 year old wanted to sit with the other customer. While some 5 year olds may be open to that, we certainly did not feel comfortable doing so (ended up leaving on a disappointed note).

Not as large as expected. Beginning of the walk through the best as they had cars displayed in a setting fitting for that era. After that cars were just on display basically. I was disappointed after leaving the fifties and sixties. My husband is actually the Corvette guy and he liked the museum, but was also expecting more. Cars on display are great and the museum is neat and tidy as can be very nice. I think we may have been expecting to see a car from every year. Anyway we did enjoy the museum and seeing the cars. They have a really nice gift shop. We ate at the Stingray Cafe he liked his food I did not care for mine because it was a raw hamburger. If you like Corvettes go you will enjoy it. We are certainly glad we went. The assembly plant tour really neat for car guys.

The National Corvette Museum was fun. First, we walked through the museum ourselves and then took a tour. The tour was well worth the time. Our guide was very knowledgeable-shared all kinds of stories, facts and figures. My husband especially enjoyed it.

A carefully and stylishly designed museum that is an absolute must for Corvette lovers. The museum is connected to the Corvette production: numerous new Corvette owners pick up their cars in the entrance area of the museum. Good food in the restaurant.
Son Christian was able to drive 4 laps of the circuit in a Corvette - no, race - a hell of a ride - pure thrill.

Really interesting history of the corvette. And lots of different corvette cars to view. The sink hole collapse exhibit was great. I learned a lot. My guy loved the cars and the gift shop. Donāt skip the diner- food was delicious

We really enjoyed this museum. My husband is a real corvette person so he loved looking at the cars. My 3 kids, my aunt and I aren't quite as much into cars, but really liked the sink hole exhibit. The sink hole was the highlight for us!

This museum has a wonderful display of corvettes. A lot of history of the car is well documented. Plus the sink hole issue in 2014 that damaged the building is well described. A must see if you are in this area.

The Corvette Museum is so well layed out and there's plenty to see..from the moment you enter the museum, they took a picture of my wife and I...this way we had a good memory picture to take back to Southern California...and seeing the many exhibits...and finally seeing the sink hole from 2014 with those cars..

I loved getting to see the evolution of the corvette from beginning to the present with representative vehicles

Really a great display of Corvette cars and etc. loved how they showed about the sink hole. Nice C write up on different influential corvette people. It is a maze and easy to miss a section.
Many beautiful cars displayed creatively
This place was so incredible. It is laid out in such a way that you can see how these amazing vehicles evolved. The displays were made to look like an old gas station, an old office of a car dealership etc and this just added something to the tour. There was an area for kids and a display with all vehicles that have run on Corvette power. My husband had seen a documentary on the sink hole and was delighted with being able to see that in person.
