Absolutely superb exhibits. Easy access staff brilliant and the amount of history and knowledge available is superb. Take out two or three hours of your day to visit you wont be disappointed. A must see museum in my opinion .

WWII, the Korean and the Vietnam War are well documented along with the men and weaponry are on display in Fort Pierce Florida. The area where the Navy seals trained since before WWII is an eye opener that must be experienced by all Americans. The actual Ocean going capsule that Captain Philips was rescued from is also in the building. Three Seals took aim and simultaneously shot and killed 3 Somali pirates thru 3 windows in 2 seconds. The skill and precision that the Seals have is amazing. Thank God they are on our side. If possible ask docent Andy for details on all the UDT and Seal history.

Since everyone else has covered all the highlights of this gem of a museum, I am going to give the best tip instead.
Go on a Friday, and ask for Roger. Roger is a former UDT/Frogman that served in Vietnam. He is the real deal. A Hero with a capital H.
This man saw a lot of combat. His experiences are the stuff movies are made of, and he was kind enough to share some of his personal stories with us. We were absolutely mesmerized the whole time. He is only there are on Fridays during Snowbird season, so re-arrange your schedule if necessary. You will be glad you did.

Fantastic and interactive museum. Highly recommend visiting here and spending at least 2 hours if you are in the area. I think anyone can enjoy this museum, but military history people could easily spend all day here tracing the roots of the Navy Seals from their Ft. Pierce origins.

I was totally unaware of the endurance these people need to complete the requirements of a Navy Seal. If found this visit more exciting and informative than expected.

Wonderful artifacts and films from SEAL missions. Fleshes out US History you know with more behind the scene details. More than frogmen. SEAL stands for Sea, Air and Land. Makes you proud to be an American.

Great museum, packed full of exhibits inside and out. The kids loved it, especially the obstacle course. Worth the visit, no covid issues at all. Beach is right there as well.

Great place to take kids and adults. One of the top sights in Ft Pierce. Many outside exhibits if you don't want to go inside.

This museum was fantastic. I wasn't a Navy Seal but was in Vietnam 67-68 and I appreciated everything that was on display and all of the informative exhibits. This is a must to see by everyone to get a greater appreciation for the men that protect our country.

Excellent military museum with lots of interactive exhibits. Fun filled afternoon. Great for gun enthusiasts, Naval history and a closer look at several American heroes.

We actually got really lucky, since we went on Veterans Day weekend. We had no idea of all the activities they had planned. Being both Veterans it made it a little more special. My brother actually retired from the Army after 20 years, I only served four in the Army.

Toured the Navy Seal Museum which takes about three hours to tour. Great exhibits and plenty of interesting information. Takes you through the history of the seals. Starts with the most recent and takes you through their history to WWII. Excellent movie at the end of the tour. Allow yourself enough time to tour. Exhibits both inside and outside. Restrooms available, plenty of parking and staff available to answer questions. A must if you're a veteran or just someone who is interested in the Seals.

This was our first visit to the Museum but will not be our last. Great displays and information and plenty of Veterans to assist and tell their stories. It is a moving experience that will show how sacred our freedoms are. how sacred our constitution is. Do not let liberals make this a socialistic country. Men and women have died to preserve what we have.

If you have ever felt grateful for the country in which we live and what our military goes through to keep our way of life possible, then coming here will cement that gratitude in your heart. I did not expect the onslaught of emotion I felt here. You're welcomed into the museum with a display of the aftermath of 9/11 and the resulting military actions. From there you can see every war in which the SEALS fought from world War II to Korea, Vietnam, and everywhere else. Captured enemy memorabilia and the weapons used on both sides. There are many displays outside as well of all the boats and submersibles used to deploy the SEALS. Very emotional looking at the wall of Medal of Honor recipients and seeing videos of the veterans who survived WWII.

This is a great place to spend an afternoon or even all day if you are a war history or gun enthusiast. The museum shows the history of the Navy SEALs as well as other amphibious operations before the actual Seals. There are separate rooms for the different wars and the 9/11 tragedy. You could also go into a helicopter and keep in touch the guns that are sealed off so they are not dangerous . You can go outside and see a memorial for Navy Sealsthat were killed and different equipment such as the submarines and boats using different operations
There is a cute little gift shop that has shirts hats pins etc. I was very pleasantly surprised

Great place to instructing yourself about the armaments used by Navy Seals. Well recommended for families with kids willing to bring knowledge about our greatest warriors.

Coming from a military family and the wife of a Vietnam Vet this was a must. So enjoyed the history of the Navy Seals and seeing the many historic relics. Proud to be an American. Thank you Seals!

A big historical place. Lots of information, interesting information about these brave men. Clean, beautiful modern place packed with items inside and outside
A must see plsce

The museum was an awesome collection of history. From WWII and training men for the D Day invasion, to the current day, it's all here. Inspiring to see the history of these brave men who helped not only win the war with Hitler but who have changed history. Lots of vehicles and boats outside, and even a course you could try to see if you could do any of the training. They had the boat that was the actual one that the Somali kidnappers held Capt Phillips on complete with bullet holes. There was an actual blackhawk helicopter in the museum. Fascinating history. And at the end, a maybe half hour historical video narrated by Gary Sinese (who is someone I absolutely love), about the history and some of the missions that the seals have done.

A hidden gem of a museum which EVRYONE should experience to learn about the bravery of these special individuals.

This museum is set in Fort Pierce, Florida, where the original Navy Seals training was based in WW2. It has outdoor and indoor exhibits and after two or three hours, I was very impressed with the extensive collection and the information. It began with a program about WW2 and continued up through the termination of Bin Laden. There's an authentic Black Hawk helicopter and other fascinating exhibits.

Well worth a visit if you’re in the area. Plenty of items to see and get hands on with and there are some really good films to watch. For someone who thought he was pretty clued up on the whole SEALS setup, I learned a lot about their history. You’ll need 2 to 3 hours to get everything done. Highly recommended.

An outstanding place to see all the memorabilia of the Navy Seals. Film clips to watch, and so much more.

Enjoyed going today to this history museum. Our 20 year old also enjoyed going and they have some items that you can climb into some of the vehicles.

We visited this museum twice. The first day, we toured the outside perimeter which is free. If you read about everything that is exhibited, that will take an hour. The second day, we paid to watch the 2 hour film. It was all very interesting. My husband met another Navy man and we enjoyed our chat with him. I would definitely recommend if you are interested in the history of the Navy Seals.

We spent about 2 hours here looking around. It was a nice little museum with lots of information. There is an outside area with an obstacle course that is great. This is not a lot of interaction in the museum but still worth the time.

While staying in fort pierce, being viet nam vet ,weou ydomise pduty to check out. Short drive , plenty parking, senior discount perfect day. Even if your not military well worth visit . Feel free to check out obstacle course and climbing wall. You will have to sign waver but it’s sweet. It was put together by ex seals and most was donated by them or friends. I always wondered how they were able to scale the side of a ship . Now I know . I was lucky to meet Roger a member of team two and his dog which keeps him on the straight and narrow .Roger next time down I promise we’ll get together and enjoy the beverage of our choice . Good luck my friend be safe be aware.

manned by former SEALs the museum inside and out offers insight into the marine world of combat killers. exotic weapons of war reveal how our dedicated warriors defend and protect us. set in a park the museum is an intriguing site and worth two hours away from sunbathing.

A wonderful museum, with extensive displays and equipment, including numerous boats, desert vehicles, and a black hawk helicopter. Displays of weapons, equipment, supplies. and a detailed history of the Navy Seals, including details about their many missions.
A must see for anyone interested in military history....

Interactive museum exhibits that provide a deep sense of awe of the navy seals and appreciation of their service to our country. During our tour I was curious to know if any women had served as seals. Perhaps this may be an exhibit for the future.

Lots of interesting exhibits and displays. Kind of on your own walk through indoor and outdoor. I wasn’t looking forward to it because I thought I would be bored but no. It was really interesting. Some areas had short videos others had written info. A nice relaxing visit with very friendly & informative former seals were available for questions & conversation.

The Navy Seal Museum is a must see museum. It helps you realize just what so many people have sacrificed for our freedoms. My father served as a Navy Seal 2 member in Vietnam. If you know any Navy Seals, you can look them up inside. Outside of the museum, there is also an obstacle course. If you go during the first week of November, you will see the Muster Event. Live music, speakers, canine demonstration and even a live Navy SEAL Tactical Demonstration. Fun for the whole family! Kids Zone, food trucks, face painting, adult beverages. We go every year.

Am a 20 year veteran and had the privilege of being stationed at NSWC Det Fort Lauderdale with legendary SEALS, - Kulich, Spaeder, Flaherty, Veazey, and Basal. Museum is a great history lesson of Special Forces and evolution of the WWII, Vietnam frogman to the present day stealthy SEAL. Obstacle course is for the young man who thinks he has what it takes. Most highly recommend for any and all veterans and military history enthusiast.

Impressive - perhaps mostly for the ethos that oges into making a SEAL, and the true grit manifested by these most elite of troops - how can anyone not feel a sense of pride in what these folks represent and have accomplished. (And I probably don't even fit the typical political profile of the average attendee, yet still full of respect and a bit of awe) The exterior exhibits are worth spending an additional 45 minutes to an hour, don't overlook. Museum is not huge, but if you transport back into the context presented, it is well worth a couple of hours.

Be prepared for at least and hour or more self guided tour through some of the most interesting military items available. Many artifacts from the troops that trained on the beaches adjacent to the park and stormed the shores of Normandy on D-Day. Boats, space capsules, and military memorabilia. A total must for those who have been in the military and a great place of interest as we for those who haven't. BTW...It shares a parking lot with one of the most beautiful beaches around. As an added note: The yearly "Navy Seal Muster" will be held this November 8th & 9th with many activities and even live music. This is always one of the biggest days of the year at the museum.

We visited during the Easter break and the museum was busy, but nevertheless enjoyable. As a visitor from overseas I was not as engaged with all the American pride in the activity of the SEALs but the exhibits were good from the historical perspective and some quite interesting information about random subjects eg. How dogs are trained. The outdoor exhibits are interesting but as it was a very hot day I did not want to spend too much time crawling all over them.
Would recommend a visit if you are in the area

This museum is so worth your time! It tells the story of the birth of today's Navy Seals and the impact that branch of the service had on the area of Fort Pierce and Hutchinson Island. There are many touche and learn exhibits and many volunteers to guide you and enhance your visit. The museum has both indoor and outdoor exhibits. I learn something new everytime I visit.

We weren't sure if it would be interesting enough to warrant the drive, but both inside and outside there's lots to see, and it's well worth the trip.

The museum sits on the spot where Navy Underwater Demolition Teams (UDT) trained in World War II. This museum traces the early days, the heavily defended beaches off WW-II, the brief period when the program was disbanded and finally the resurgence of program as the Sea-Air-Land or SEAL Warrior authorized by President Kennedy and used with great effectiveness in Vietnam and today!
Hands-on and touch-me displays are well done and the videos extremely moving.
Highly recommend this unique museum if you are in the Vero Beach - Stuart area.

We moved to Florida and heard about the museum, since the Seals began in Fort Pierce, we thought it was great place to go on Veterans Day! My hubby got in free as he was former Navy Veteran. There was so much to see from all the wars, that one trip is not enough. Outside next to it is a picnic area and and access to a beach with lifeguard. The parking is free! Check the days and hours. We will go back, this time we will bring our northern company!

Two adults spent about six hours at this museum. YMMV, but we like to read all of the signage. Covers the entire history of the Navy Seals from WWII to today. Expertly done.
We were also lucky enough to get to see a working dog demonstration with three trained military dogs. Absolutely fascinating. Unbelievably well trained.
Outdoor boat exhibits also.

This museum realistically and authentically captures the history of US Naval Special Warfare. It thoroughly covers the incredible story of these unique and gifted warriors from the UDT days of WWII to some of the most recent SEAL operations.
The doucents are qualified, knowledgeable, and approachable. The extensive displays, indoors and outdoors, are all interesting and well annotated. We especially enjoyed going on board the SDV vehicles and the various boats. The library is extensive. The film presentations are very professional.
Bring your workout gear if you want to try your hand at the famous BUDS obstacle course.

Great displays, thorough coverage of the development of the Navy SEAL program, starting on September 11, 2001. I went with my 90-year-old step-Dad and had a pleasant visit. Their displays are inviting and interesting. This museum would also be good for younger people to explore their outdoor obstacle course - it looked like fun!

Great morning out, great things to see and so interesting all done very respectfully. I thought I knew quite alot about the history but definitely learnt some new things. Great exhibits.

The history on special forces of US Navy - indoor & outdoor displays - easily you can spend seVeral hours or more - especially is it’s a sunny day

The Navy seal museum captures the spirit of the men that dedicated their lives to serve and fight for democracy. With interactive exhibits, great displays and compelling videos, this is a museum every one should visit. Quite a surprise finding this in Fort Pierce, FL. Such a historical place unknown to many.

It was about and hour and half from Arcadia Fl. You have a better understanding of what the seals are all about. There is an outside and inside display and very detailed. They had the actual water vehicle that the captain was rescued in (Tom Hanks Played Captain) when the hijackers boarded the ship caring cargo at sea.

We spent 2 hours at the very impressive Navy Seals Museum. If you are military or a Veteran the tickets are discounted. All exhibits are authentic which was amazing to see. Can even sit in a Black Hawk Helicopter. A lot of short educational videos through out the museum. Amazing what the Navy Seals are put through. God Bless America. 🇺🇸

There is so much to see and read it takes longer than you think. The information available is tremendous and the volunteers who staff the museum are a trove of information. The outdoor display of equipment is enlightening. We came across some people doing the physical challenges and it was fun watching.

Had often driven by this museum; made a point of visiting this time. Good combination of factual details, sounds, and actual equipment used in missions. We enjoyed learning the SEAL background story and the variety of crucial missions. There were moving profiles of heroism from past SEAL veterans. The museum tells a compelling story and is definitely worth a visit. Easy to find, clean facility, convenient parking.

A MUST VISIT for anyone who is a military history buff, or just a fan of the SEALs. This museum is as good as it gets, with detailed history of the UDT teams developed during and after WWII. The museum not only walks through the history of the teams, but it has very high quality exhibits that include equipment, vehicles, weapons and much more. The museum is designed to let visitors get up close and personal (for example, you can go inside the rescue helicopter, on the boats and even try on gear for photo ops. The videos and some of the historical documents are excellent. I'd be remiss if I didn't point out the very moving Medal of Honor wall, for the fallen heroes who gave all. The museum has new exhibits, such as the life boat from the Maersk Alabama that was taken hostage by Somali pirates and later rescued by a SEAL sniper team (bullet holes still in tact). Outside are a bevy of specialized vehicles, including diver delivery vehicles, Vietnam era river boats and large transport vessels. This place is a treasure trove.

We always look for museums when traveling. This is a true gem of a museum. It is laid out in chronological order so you can read and see the evolution of today's modern Seal teams. Expect to spend about 2 hours (maybe more) here.

You couldn't view any better collection of the Navy's historic display of their Frogmen and SEALS. From its videos, museum, and its outdoor collection of actual boats used by the bravest of the brave is sensational and stunning. You'll not forget your visit. Extremely historical factual, and very worthwhile!

We have been meaning to go to this museum since moving to FL a year and a half ago. Had some friends come to visit and decided to take them to the Navy Seal Museum. What a great place. So many super cool exhibits, and so much interactive stuff. It was amazing. We were told that all of the things we saw inside were actually used and not replicas. They had things from WW II, Korea, Vietman, Iraq, Afganistan, etc.
Don't miss this- it is a great way to spend an hour or two, and it's right on the beach so you can then go swimming or out to eat.

This was my 4th or 5th visit taking visitors to this museum. It has been upgraded and is now even better than before. We spent over 5 hours inside and a half hour outside - all great and highly authentic.

Lots of hands on exhibits. I did not realize just what the UDTs & Seals do. So much more than I imagined.
Sit in a Black Hawk. Get in an amphibious vehicle. Put on some camouflage & take a pic.
Great for kids & adults alike

Luckily, we found the Seal Museum while preparing for the trip.
We were right there at 10am and spent about 2 hours. If you like to read more, you can certainly spend even more time there.
The exhibitions are great!!! There are interactive monitors to learn everything you need to know about weapons or equipment.
The outside area is spacious and very clear.
Even if I was already there, I would go back again if I stayed in Florida.
Note: as a German soldier/veteran you get a discount.

I took my wife to this museum and it is unbelievably wonderful. The features, both inside and outside, are really well done, with static displays and videos, covering the WW II era to the present day. I could have spent a day and a half there and I would certainly return. Even my wife would return.

Had a great time visiting this museum. Plenty of displays and information on the training, tactics weapons and equipment these elite warriors use to defend our country. The wall of remembrance for the fallen heroes is also very moving. By far the best 15 dollars I have ever spent. I highly recommend this attraction, the staff are all friendly and knowledgeable as well as former team members. Stop by and learn what the men go through to help defend our way of life... Thank you all for your service and sacrifices

Fascinating, informative, fun, kid friendly. So much to see and learn. Would be enjoyable for all ages and entire family will enjoy it. Kids can be very interactive . Take advantage of the tour guides.

I visited this museum many years ago but it has undergone a major renovation. It was good, now it is great. It is located next to the beach and has plenty of parking. It has the actual museum, lots of static displays, a store and an obstacle course. The cost is very inexpensive for what the museum is showing you. It is really beautifully done by years going from the most recent as you enter the door to the WWII at the southern end. There are interactive displays on computers as well as lots of very well done displays throughout. Outside there are displays to show the various craft that are or have been used. Some are viewing only and some you can actually go onto. The entire museum and grounds is one of the best that I have seen. If anyone is interested in military history, this is a must see.

This museum is very informational right from the front door where a volunteer shows you the layout of the museum on a map you then carry with you. The woman volunteer pointed out the highlights of the museum and told us to watch the movie (13/4 hours but complete history of the Seals/UDT) when it started again. The displays showed different missions the Seals undertook from the WWII, the Vietnam War to present day conflicts. Outside were marine vehicles used by the Seals along with a statue of a Seal carrying a wounded "brother". After going through this museum I have a better understanding of the sacrifice and commitment of these brave young men.

If ever in Fort Pierce, FL, this is a must. Follows the history of the Seals from inception to today. Never realized how many operations they have been involved in. And for real fun, try some of the training equipment they have outside. A real eyeopener and very well done.

Very informative museum located right next to the oceanfront.... the volunteers were extremely helpful not only about this museum but also the area in general. Fabulous artifacts. Upon returning home, someone mentioned they were there for some recruits using the obstacle course.... that would be interesting to see.

Took my son for his 16th bday! Great way to show him all the sacrifice and honor! Staff there was fabulous we found my uncle’s picture and class information there . We did the obstacle course very fun!

If you are interested in military history this is your place. It was packed with artifacts, real equipment, and informative displays. Greatly exceeded my expectations.

The museum has free parking. I paid an admission fee of $12.00 as a senior. This is a thorough history of the United States Navy Seals organization. There are vehicles, weapons, films, and much more on display. There are information boards for engagements in which the Seals participated. It is truly a gem of a museum. There is
also a gift shop.

I have always read about and followed Navy Seals as I am very intrigued with their training. When in Vero Beach we saw this museum was nearby and had to visit. So glad we did! The museum you go through is at your own pace and you can quickly burn 2 hours before you know it. It is divided into periods and how the “Seals” evolved. I read a lot and watched videos going through the museum and thoroughly enjoyed it! All the artifacts are authentic and when I climbed into the chopper I thought how amazing it would be if there was ‘Virtual reality’ tied to it. Outside we climbed on boats and saw parts of the obstacle course. Go see this if you are in the neighborhood!

I enjoyed sharing the training and experiences of the Navy Seals at their Museum. Very informative and enjoyable for the family depending on your interests. Kids have a ball climbing on some equipment, donning the outfits, and getting photographed with the weapons-if you choose. Displays included good explanations of the Seals' experience, complimented with several films. Did a lot of reading of the various plaques, watched the movies, and visited various equipment; took about 3 hours, though one could cover everything in an hour if you just walked through everything.

While vacationing in FL, we came upon this gem of a museum. We spent about 4 hours there with time split between the authentic displays and the 2 hour movie which is very well done. You will learn a lot here!

This is an excellent place to visit for locals and visitors. It is the official Navy Seal Museum. They originated and trained here right off the beach in Fort Pierce, FL It is an excellent source of our history. This location also has other items of our history including a space capsule and other objects.

I’ve always wanted to visit the USN SEALs Museum, especially as I’m a Navy SeaBee veteran, history buff, and a diver. There were five of us, and I had my three pet rabbits with us; which attracted lots of attention and petting from the museum staff. The displays were excellent, both inside, and outside the museum. Everything was easy to find, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and there is a gift shop, and the beach is right in back. I highly recommend a visit to here. Two rabbit ears up!!

This place is amazing. Lots to see and learn. Displays and videos were very interesting. Covers decades of military engagements. Admission price is fair and parking is free.

Enjoyed the museum with our whole family. Interesting collection of memorabilia and thoughtfully prepared stories about the history of the Navy Seals and those that preceded them. Outside displays are just as interesting with a fun but challenging obstacle course that we all went through.

We were driving along the highway when we saw the signs for this museum. I'm not a Navy person but thought it might be a quick stop. We spent over 2 hours enjoying the exhibits of Naval history - mostly about Underwater Demolition Teams but also of river craft used in various wars and missions, NASA's Mercury capsule landing and the UDT's role in that landing (particularly relavent since we were on our way to the Kennedy Space Center, various gear worn by UDT's, UDT physical training course, etc. The museum contained exhibits supposedly contained the actual gear or items used by UDT's in general and specific missions. As a plus, the gift shop was well stocked.

There is so much information here. Wonderful museum with volunteers that are very knowledgable. Absoultely loved it.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Navy Seal Museum, and would recommend that the first part you see is their video shown near the front lobby to get an overview of what the Seals have accomplished. It will make for a richer understanding of all the history and equipment on display.

This is a must for all age groups. There will be a certified Navy Seal on sight to answer any question you may have. The museum is full of the Navy Seals past and present adventures. Some of their remarkable tasks that they have done for the United States. There is even a portion of the helicopter that was used to go after Bin Laden. You will want to stay several hours just to hear the history of the Seals.

The Navy Seal Museum preserves the history of the United States Navy SEALs. It resides on the training grounds of the original Navy combat divers, the Frogmen. Per their website, it "displays vehicles, vessels, tactical equipment, and weaponry from the earliest days of Naval Special Warfare to today’s multifaceted global operators and headline conflicts." Besides info on WWII, there are displays from the Korean conflict & Vietnam era as well. There are so many interesting things to see. Just as one example, you can board the lifeboat upon which Captain Richard Phillips, who was captured by Somali pirates in 2009, was held hostage for five days before being rescued by SEALs.

In Florida for an annual vacation and drove to Ft Pierce to visit the Navy Seal and UDT Museum. Awesome collection of time period authentic equipment used during specific conflicts. Very informative and interesting self guided tour with videos and movies playing along the tour. A must see if you’re in the area or just passing through.

Packed full of history, equipment, artifacts, videos, hands on opportunities with pictures. Very professional and well maintained.
The videos and displays gave incredible insights. Well done.
Don't miss this place!

This was our second visit and learn something new each time. We had our teenage God children with us this time and the loved the history and hands on displays and videos. Also kudos to the staff as they are very knowledgeable. We will definitely go back again.

Amazing! Worth every cent! Admission seemed a little much, until you go in, we could have spent all day here. An emotional visit, when you understand what those who served have sacrifice for their county, past present and future!

I'm always up to learn more about something and this was a great visit The men and woman that commit their lives to make ours better deserve to be honored and what better way then to showcase what they have done - and they have done so much. It was an honor to be able to read learn and experience the Navy Seals.

A 20-minute drive from South Hutchinson Island or an hour and a half from Fort Lauderdale sits the little-known Navy SEAL-UDT museum. I went there to celebrate the 4th of July (be advised its actually closed on holidays and on Mondays) and learn more about the US Navy’s “frogmen”. It’s now an updated museum (renovated in 2016) with plenty of exhibits and video presentations. It’s geared towards military history buffs but will interest young teens and foreign tourists as well. For those of you not familiar with the SEALs, I recommend watching Captain Phillips and Zero Dark Thirty before visiting. A lot of the exhibits relate to those two moments in history. If you’re anti-war and not particularly patriotic then this museum is not for you (that’s why there’s a Starbucks safe-space somewhere on Highway 1 you can spend two hours in instead). Be advised some of volunteers that work there are old salts with a demeanor to match. Don’t take it personal. They’re ex-Navy after all and spent too much time sharing bunk space and listening to nonsense from Naval officers.
I guarantee even if you’re a Navy SEAL fanboy there will be things you see here you never knew existed (like a harpoon gun and a magnetic robotic ship crawler)! I really dug the early history and equipment from the UDT divers of the WWII era. You won’t believe their ingenuity and what they had to use. I was also surprised by the number of actual captured enemy weapons and equipment (ISIS flags, a Vietcong AK and Somali PKM). There are several monuments to the fallen UDT divers and SEAL’s as well as the Medal of Honor recipients as well as pieces of the World Trade Center and Berlin Wall…and it’s very sobering. I feel those that served in any of the special forces during Vietnam and the GWOT will be the most moved by this museum as they really highlight the operations, weapons and gear from those wars. The highlight for me is seeing the actual lifeboat from the Captain Phillips kidnapping incident…complete with windows broken out by the pirates for some ventilation and the bullet-holes that SEAL snipers made to ventilate the pirates themselves (Hoo-yah!). There’s a gift shop too with some unique tees, ballcaps, stickers and patches. Outside is an obstacle course, some humbling monuments and various Navy craft including a Mk V and Vietnam-era Swift Boat. If you're disabled you can easily get around and see the entire museum but would have trouble climbing and crawling into any of the vehicles on display. Overall, this place really held my interest for 2 hours (I easily could have spent an hour more) and was well worth the visit.

This museum was well-organized, informative, and interesting. The exhibits were great, but we only had two hours to explore, and that wasn't enough time to read all the information or watch the videos. My son enjoyed getting up close and personal with the military vessels outside the building. The obstacle course looked fun, but very challenging... none of us were up to the task in the short time we had there.
Note that the museum shares a parking lot with the nearby beach, so parking can be hard to find.

A group of us took a day to visit the Seal Museum and really learned quite a lot. Was not aware of the connection to Ft. Pierce until we went there.
Quite informative and be sure to take your time. It’s worth the time.

This is well worth a trip. There is so much history to be seen and learned. In this day and age when we are watching our country tear itself apart, it was wonderful to go into this museum and it was okay to be patriotic and appreciate those in uniform who are serving or have served this nation. Bring your kids and grandkids so that they can learn to be proud of the fact that they are Americans.

No replicas, they have lots of weapons, vehicles, and uniforms that were used by the U.S. Navy Seals. There is an obstacle course for the daring, helicopters and boats you can climb into, weapons you can pick up to feel the weight, and a lot more.

Great Museum! We had kids with us and they stayed engaged. The Obstacle course and outdoor boat displays were very fun for the kids. There is documentary playing on a loop as well that really added to the experience.

Fantastic exhibits that appeal to old and young alike. I live nearby and always take visitors there and everyone is impressed and glad for the experience.

Certain displays can be somber but overall this place is emotionally stirring especially if you have military family members!

Frogmen. SEALS. Heroes. This is a place where you can tell your children and grandchildren the stories of every-day men who volunteered during World War II to do special work for the Navy. Some of them thought they would become lifeguards at the Miami Officer's Club pool, but they learned to swim and to blow up beach entanglements and to fight as a team. This is where it happened. At the museum you can see the exhibits that show the training they received, the equipment they used and the places they served. This is where it started, and we know that these brave men continue to serve today. If you are lucky, you might meet one or two who trained there and served our country in a most special way.
Take the kids. Help them learn the history -- our history -- their history.

I couldn’t imagine anything that could, realistically, make this any better. The location is perfect, especially from the forgotten historicity of the Treasure Coast during WWII. I could have spent almost twice as much time here than I did. I can’t wait to return this November.

Visited on a rainy day in March with the family. Had it not gotten so crowded, we likely could have stayed another hour as we barely saw any of the outdoor exhibits. Very well laid out with modern, historical, and all in between. From weapons to vehicles to videos and storyboards, this is an incredible tribute to the amazing SEALs who have served for all of us. Thank you!

Finally made a visit to this property and we were so pleasantly impressed with this museum. Well maintained and laid out. Excellent information plaques and visuals. Some fun interactive items. Lots of weaponry. Various videos throughout add to the experience. Easy to navigate with benches to sit on. Plenty of tee shirts in the gift shop but no real food venue. Some machines for drinks and snacks. Outside has various artifacts and obstacles you can touch. There is a public park that surrounds the museum so plenty of parking with beach access. Plan to spend at least 2 hours here.

Excellent presentation of UDT/Seals history and mission and how they fit in with national policy thru the years. Displays are informative with great graphics and photos. Lots of short video presentations and a very comprehensive film of their overall history at the end. If you haven’t already seen the Osama Ben Laden take down at the 911 museum this will fascinate you. Especially interesting is the actual capsule that Captain Phillips was held in off of Somalia, bullet holes and all. We made a trip to Ft Pierce specifically to see this museum and it is totally worth the trip.

*Poor planning on my part we arrived 15 minutes before closing.
The very rushed tour inside revealed life-sized vehicles, opportunities to wear uniforms and handle weapons, and read more than you ever imagined. The displays are interactive and interesting for multiple ages. Highly recommend. The outside area has statues, vehicles to view, and boats to board!

Ft. Pierce is only 45 minutes south of us so it was a great day-trip! I did not realize that Ft. Pierce was the site of the first Navy Seals training base. The museum was very well done, educational, and everything in it was really used by Navy Seals including authentic drones, weapons, gear, boats, submarines, etc. including a brick from Osama Bin Laden's house.

The Navy Seal Museum is a great experience of REAL history and a walk through history. The displays are real with factual information of the experiences and outcomes from specific missions of the Seabees, UDT, and Seals. Plan to spend a couple hours minimum to experience the important aspects of history. Conveniently located on Hwy A1A just north of the Fort Pierce inlet. Right next to the museum is a beautiful park with picnic facilities and beach access, bring your picnic lunch and enjoy the beach !

Well presented history and artifacts. They did a good job with distancing. Enjoyed both inside and outside displays and learned alot about the history of Navy SEALS.
Perfect location beside the beach they trained on. Great history lesson for an older child, especially one interested in military history.

My group and I really enjoyed the Navy Seal Museum! We had a Groupon and were excited to go, and it did not disappoint. The museum is self-guided and has a great layout. We chose to go backward in time from modern to WW2. I loved the interactivity of the museum, and it is good for all ages. It was wonderful to see the reverence the employees and patrons have for our military. I really want to take my grandfather here! I only took pictures outside because I was enjoying all of the plaques/items inside too much to remember to take photos :)

So much history of the area and of conflict in general in this amazing place. My son is considering joining the military so this was especially interesting to him, but we all had fun

Honestly, this was one of the best and most interesting museums I’ve been to — and having traveled around all 50 states, that’s saying a lot!
We were on a trip flying by the seat of our pants with no true plans. Found out about the museum while we were in the area and researching things to do.
The inside and outside exhibits are wonderful and informative, not to mention clean and crisp. Nice to have a guide greet you at the start of your tour just to make sure you know the general layout and flow of the museum.
The pretty grounds outside are not to be missed! Especially the area by the curved memorial wall. And don’t miss walking through the mangroves on the east side of the museum parking lot so that you can see the beach and the Atlantic.
Where else are you going to learn about the navy seals beginnings + get a good overview of missions + climb up in to a black hawk helicopter + get in an enormous Mk V Special Operations Craft + and go through some of a training obstacle course?
Highly recommend!

This was a wonderful experience. I did not realize was this national Seal Museum was located here until were told the history of the site. This area was the training grounds for the Seals during WWII. There is so much to see. So many historical artifacts. The actual helicopter that was flown when they captured Ben Laden is there. This is a must see, not to be missed if you are in the area.

There is a lot to see here. you could easily spend several ours here if you take time to watch the film and inspect all of the exhibits. They do a great job of giving credit to these men who risked their lives in the service of the US. There are a lot of interactive exhibits that provide more detail. Several displays of equipment and weapons going back to WW II. The testimonies of the men who lost their lives were very moving. It is well worth your time and it is a great place to bring your children to learn about the type of patriotism that they don't learn about in schools or the media anymore.

You've got to hand it to the SEALs to put together one of the coolest collections of destruction ever. Outstanding full-scale dioramas. How did they get the Blackhawk inside this place?

After visiting this museum, I have great respect for our nation's heroes and their service to our country. What amazing physical and mental prowess they have to get through the extensive training. The museum has hours of interesting and informative videos and equipment inside and outside of the building. Very worth visiting.

This place is AWESOME! Nothing in this place is a reproduction. It's all the real deal!!! VERY interesting and well worth the entry fee. And they offer discounts to seniors and veterans.

The lady told us it would take a couple of hours. We thought no way, but it was so interesting with movies , equipment, boats, tanks, We learned alot and stayed almost 3 hrs. Even kids were fascinated

This was fun for a day trip. I went on a field trip with my brothers class. We saw a lot of of things. There were some great interactive things for the kids.

It's everything everyone has already said! Personal experiences, one on one conversations with special ops and former seals. But the thing I want to make sure I point out... MAKE TIME! There is a wonderful documentary that is 2 hours long and that is on top of the inside and outside real life artifacts and equipment.

Wife and I visited this week. A very nice facility that tells the history of Navy Seals starting in days whe unit was known as Frogmen. Has excellent displays of all the equipment Seals use in execution of their mission, along with a great display of naval boats used by these amazing men. The Wall of Honor for fallen heroes is a somber but moving reminder of these selfless servants who gave everything for their country and our freedom.

Extremely good displays of what the SEALs have used in the past and as of present time. A lot of history and displays at the museum.
You can spend 2 to 3 hours easily going through inside and outside checking out the displays.
Well worth the time to visit if in the area.

What a great way to spend a morning at this museum. It was so interesting and eye opening. Having a Vet with our group it truly brought some history moments to life. Really enjoyed it.

Compact and reasonably prized museum with authentic equipment from war on terror, Vietnam, Somalia, WWII etc.

This is one of the finest museums that I have ever visited. I visited this museum many times over the years. Each time I visit, I find that they have improved it again. It is located on the beach-side of A1A and shares the parking lot with Pepper Beach. There is plenty of parking. It has the actual museum, lots of static displays, a store, and an obstacle course. You enter and pay at a counter for each person visiting. They have senior and veteran discounts. The cost is very inexpensive for what the museum is showing you ($15 for adults/$12 with a discount). It is really beautifully done by years going from the most recent as you enter the door to the WWII at the southern end. There are interactive displays on computers as well as lots of very well-done displays throughout. Outside there are displays to show the various craft that are or have been used. Some are viewing only and some you can actually go onto. The entire museum and grounds are some of the best that I have seen. There is a theater with a running show to explain the SEALS and their history. There has a wonderful gift shop. The staff was very friendly. I plan to visit again and recommend it to anyone who is interested in military history. It is a must-see!

Absolutely loved touring this museum. The staff is so nice and very knowledgeable. Chatting with retired Navy and Army guys, very sweet!

Go and visit! A must see when you are in the Fort Pierce area.
Small scale and very informative for young and old.

If you're any where near Ft. Pierce this is a good place to spend an hour or two seeing the amazing history and artifacts of the Navy
Special Warfare as it evolves from the NCDU, the guys when went first onto the beaches at Normandy to clear the obstacles, to the Underwater Demolition Teams of the Pacific campaign and then evolved into the SEALs of today.
Plenty of good displays both inside and out. You might notice the bricks along the sidewalks with the names of former SEALs engraved on them. My name is on one of them grouped with Class 33E.
Dick

While on vacation in Cocoa Beach,my husband and I decided to make a trip to Ft. Pierce to visit the National Navy Seal/ UDT Museum. It was well worth the 2 hour drive there. It is a spectacular place that honors the History of the UDT/ Navy Seals from its earliest years to the present day. My husband was pleasantly surprised by a few of the displays,Operations SnowCap and Just Cause. He had participated in these events during his 20 years in the U.S. Navy. He was also stationed in New Orleans at SBU -22 before they moved to Stennis and was a Boat Captain on a PBR. His Chief he served with was BMC Gerhart Klann. We were pleased to see that his name and some memorabilia was mentioned in the museum’s record. The staff at the museum were amazing and very knowledgeable. We would absolutely recommend this museum to all of our friends.

Compact and concise history of the Navy Seals and their role in defending our freedom. If you’re really game (or insane) try the O-course!

This is a wonderful museum. Very informative with staff available to help interpret the displays. Although maybe not for young children, teens on up will be interested and engaged in the interactive tablets that are available, as well as actual weapons and equipment used by the SEALs in various missions. The movie is well worth the time, don't miss it. There are outdoor displays and a play area for children. We arrived around 10am and were ready to use the picnic tables for a late lunch at 2pm. Definitely allow plenty of time to appreciate this museum. The beach access from the parking lot is great way to extend your day with a trip to the beach.

Decided to try Something new and visited the Navy Museum. From real Navy Boats to an amazing 9-1-1trubite and space dedicated to WWII. There were a lot of artifacts in this interesting history museum. Very much recommend; then head to downtown Historic Fort Pierce. Quaint

This was such a mind opening experience. Lots to take in, from present to WWII. While the modern day arms and methods were interesting, the WWII exhibits show you how far we have come

For me as a vet it was a humbling experience. An honor to see stories of men that risked and/or gave their lives for their country. The training to become a Navy Seal is unbelievable. The museum is a do not miss stop. It will give you appreciation for true hero’s.

We spent over 3 hours here. It was wonderful and so interesting. A must see! There was plenty to see inside and outside. A lot of history to learn.

Hubby and I have visited war memorials all over the world, including South Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Pearl Harbor, etc. This comparatively small museum in Fort Pierce ranks near the top with the best of them.
Surprisingly, admission to such an important national museum is only $15 adult, with a 20% discount for veterans and seniors. Parking is free, and most displays are wheelchair accessible (except for climbing around inside boats or helicopters).
We were greeted by a guide who gave us a site map and explained the museum's entire layout before we began our tour, to facilitate the best experience. There is so much to see and do here that you need to allow at least a half a day if you want to read all the information in the exhibits and explore all the vessels/vehicles. We spent 3.5 hours here and would have spent more than four, had we not left the movie theater halfway through the documentary in order to check out the outdoor displays. Keep in mind that the museum closes at 4:00 pm daily, except Monday when it is closed all day.
Every item on display in this museum is the real deal. There are no replicas. Visitors can handle some of the historic guns used by early SEALs. We climbed inside the Blackhawk helicopter that was used in 2012 to rescue two Americans being held for ransom by Somali pirates. We also climbed around in an HSAC, high speed assault craft, and a special operations craft used in Desert Storm.
On the grounds is an obstacle course that gives visitors a feel for some of the training that SEALs undergo. You can test your own aptitude in numerous areas, including climbing up the balance poles or wall-climbing.
The gift shop offers all kinds of SEALs memorabilia, including clothing and hats and the usual key chains, magnets, etc. Prices are a bit steep, but for a very worthwhile cause.
Even spending half a day here, I didn't get to see/read everything. I could have spent another two hours on finishing the documentary and reading more details in the various displays. This museum is an invaluable contribution to preserving important US history.

I can only agree with the previous reviews - it is awesome and every member of the family will get something out of it - mostly awe at their skills and bravery I think. The story of the Navy Seals is an important part of US military history, and the museum is both a memorial and a fun place to visit.

This museum is not very big, but really worth it and certainly for the price. It's nicely dressed and there are many interesting things to see. There is also a shop. Museum staff are friendly and parking is free.

Interesting museum about the origins of the US Navy UDT divers and the SEALs. Some nice displays of captured weapons and equipment used by the SEALs, including some boats outside.
Also has an obstacle course for those wanting to try, but didnt seem to be running when I was there.
Worth an hour or two.

I really enjoyed walking around the inside museum learning about the history of Frogmen(they originally wore green suits) and watching the video documentary about them. We didn't have time to walk around the outdoor area to see the vessels. The history about WW 1 and WW 2 was most interesting.

My wife and I had heard about the Navy-Seal Museum. This is the only one in the country. If you’re interested in the military in general and the history of frogmen in particular, this is a wonderful place to visit. The Seals are the Navy’s elite and this is a their tribute. A special Black Hawk helicopter and displays of Bin Laden’s compound will make your visit memorable. There are knowledgeable docents to answer any questions. Give yourself time. The Seals are America’s finest and amazing!

I wasn’t expecting much but came away with a new greater appreciation for these great men. The museum is a wonderful place to explore and learn the history of the seals. They have many examples of equipment and videos of interesting information. Timelines and hands on exhibits.

With visitors in town & the weather very hot & muggy we decided to visit the Navy Seal Museum. I'm ashamed to say we have lived in this area over 15 years & had never taken the opportunity to visit this museum. The exhibits are very interesting (sometimes the signage was confusing, though), well laid out for the most part, and many videos showing the item in action or giving the history of the item. Enjoyed seeing the Maersk lifeboat that the Somali pirates apprehended, the Blackhawk helicopter, items from the Viet Nam war as well as WWII. The memorial statues in the garden outside are emotionally moving. We all know the Navy SEALS are a special group of folks but when you see what is required of them you will appreciate their efforts even more. We'll be back, I hope you will go, too.

Very interesting and unique exhibits. I learned much! The 9-11 section and the Maersk Alabama display were great, especially the actual lifeboat from the hijacking. The short videos were interesting, too. I leave nearby and always take visiting friends and family.

I think every American should see this Museum alone or with a family full of kids. Don't pass this up...

Go, take in the sights, the history, and be in awe of this place. It's well worth the time and energy. You will not be sorry!

I was impressed with this museum for its thoughtfulness in both layout and content. Kids will LOVE putting on Navy SEAL clothes and climbing into boats with real guns (yes they’re heavy)! The history is all laid out and everything in the museum is real - no knock offs, no fakes. The boats, helicopters, etc., all real. Adult will appreciate the walk through the history of SEALs and underwater divers and their contributions to our nation’s defense. From Medal of Honor winners to astronauts and from the beaches of Normandy to a house in Pakistan, this museum has it all. Please don’t miss it.

Great experience. Amazing what these men do and the equipment (that we know of)
that they use.
Note: Got things at the museum, one was a shirt. The shirt was not the right size for me and after I went home, 1,200 miles away I realized it. I contacted Margaret Chase, the manager of the museum store. I was advised to send the shirt back and was sent the size I needed at no charge. Painless transaction, great customer service.

Visiting south Florida won't be completed without exploring this museum. Whether the visitor is a kid, student or an adult, they will enjoy it and leave with lots of information, pictures and good memories of our navy seal heroes and their untold story. Informative, well organized and enjoyable.

Special forces history from beginning to end, a must see attraction if near Ft Pierce, FL.
Very first seal training facility location in US is why it’s there. Great intro film.
You will see one it two Black Hawk helicopters from the movie Black Hawk Down. Multiple gun & hand artillery exhibits.
Exhibit on 9-11, WWII US guns, German guns & Japanese guns. Pearl Harbor film.
Frogman exhibits throughout. Frogman subs & info.
Vietnam River boats. NASA space capsules used to practice. Nice gift shop.
Great family exhibit. Photo ops w dress up mock images & props to pose with.

We lucked out in our timing to catch the dog show given by the Navy Seals about their Belgian Malinois, such amazing dogs. Finn, Raven, and Bullet the new puppy were truly unbelievable in their abilities!

We took our first visit to the Navy Seal museum and it was unbelievable! So many Navy memorabilia... it makes one more than proud to be an American and so blessed to have the Armed Forces protecting us!
Please take time to go and see! You will feel so blessed!😊

really informative museum with lots to see including short movies, guns, pieces of girder from 9/11, etc. highly recommend.

The newer stuff (post Vietnam) is really well done and interesting. Be sure to walk around the outside as well. We spent just over an hour and didn’t watch any of the videos.

Museum dedicated to the brave Navy SEALs of the U.S. Navy. A fully interactive museum, with thematic areas such as the 9/11 attack, Vietnam, the Korean War, among other participations of the SEALs in missions over time. Inside there are various vehicles such as a Blackhawk Helicopter, Water Assault Vehicles, ATVs, weapons, uniforms, etc. And on the outside, obstacle track and various naval means that can be visited. It is a place to spend 2/3 hours, directed at enthusiasts of military history. I highly recommend the visit. Stay in Fort Pierce, on the way between Fort Laudardale and Orlando. Inside there are also bathrooms, accessibility and a very cool shop.

Excellent combination of video, hands on, displays and live Vets to answer questions. Comprehensive history presented reverse chronologically. Spent 2.5 hours there and could have easily spent 4, had we not run out of time by the 4pm closing. Thank you!!!

I went with my husband and we both loved it. We could have used more time there. It wasn't just us who enjoyed. There was a visiting camp at the same time and the young teens loved it too.

An inexpensive visit to a highly informational museum. Tells the story of our Special Ops teams, starting from today, then back to WW2. Lots of pics, equipment and gear, statuettes in period dress, the whole ball of wax. You'll learn how these people endured what the did to become SEALs and what they are capable of accomplishing with their knowledge and skills. It's a smallish museum - about 3 hours, plus an optional 2 hour movie.

watch the film history of Seals before tour. Makes tour more meaningful. $15 adults. kids 12 and under $7.

A very cool museum and nothing in there is a replica. Obstacle course outside, access to the beach, nice videos and interactive things.

You deserve to see this incredible museum. I have been going for many years. Each year they have added a new display, artifact, video.
Our NAVY SEALS are such a great source of pride for our nation. This museum displays and teaches you the history of these extraordinary brave and courageous warrior
It begins at the front door with a larger-than-life size statute of Tommy Norris and Mike Thornton. I'll let you discover the story of these incredible Medal of Honor winners.
The NAVY SEALS have given so much to so many - don't miss learning the true story.

Wow! This is a gem.
We got rained out at the beach, so we popped over.
My friend had been before and said it made more since to start at the beginning not the mapped route.
The guide at the door said it was set-up with most recent because that’s what people know, not WWII.
The displays are phenomenal along with the story as to why this museum is in Ft. Pierce.
The outside exhibits are great too. It was raining so we did not have the opportunity to look like fools or the fitness course.
Take the couple hours and make a point to see this place!

My husband and I both enjoyed visiting the museum and learning more about Navy Seals. We spent over 4 hours there which included watching the PBS documentary which was about 2 hours long. The museum covers the history of the Seals, Ft Pierce’s connection, Seal’s gear and the various missions that the seals have been involved with. Quite interesting!

Terrific and humbling experience on the rich history and unique relationship Fort Pierce has with these military hero’s

This museum has something for everyone. It tells the story behind how the SEALs came to be and what they have accomplished recently. I was even amazed to see they have a pieces of history from the World Trade Center and the Berlin Wall. Definitely must check it out!

The history and artifacts are extremely well prepared and presented. It is just the perfect size for families and small groups (or possibly large private groups). We liked the up-close access to many of the exhibits. A definite bucket list visit for folks.
Thank you to the all the organizers and especially to all that have and do serve.

Loved this museum. Great tribute. Only reason for a four was because when we went the computers were offline so only accepted cash. Fortunately, I did have some. Also, would be a nice addition to have a guide or volunteers throughout to explain, add stories, etc. but even without a guide everything was well laid out and very well documented. The parking was shared with a public beach so parking was a little difficult to get. Just a short wait.

This is an excellent museum covering the Navy Seals from beginning to now. The historical significance is fascinating. Everyone should make a little time to go see and experience this gem.

Great place to explore good for the families too. Take as long as you need self guided.
Some out door activities for the kids too. Parking is free.

We took the opportunity to visit here recently. It's a self guided tour with very helpful staff to answer any questions along your way. The exhibits are all "real", not reproductions, that were involved in actually SEAL operations. It gives true insight into what our military endures, which many people are unaware of. Both the indoor and outdoor displays are interesting, and there are films showing as well. Allow a couple of hours to "do it right".

I went with limited expectations but this was a top notch museum and we spent a few hours there. So well done and informative. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

My father and grandfather were in the Navy WWII, not Seals, but they served the USA honorably. My Dad especially would have loved this place, it is just incredible. Not only does it cover our current wars but Vietnam, Korea, WWII. So much to see, view and do. I highly recommend a visit to this most amazing and interesting museum.

The story of Navy Seals from frogmen days to missile days. Lots of hands on activities. Short walk to the beach. Obstacle course outside--good luck! Extensive displays outside. Inside info was very well presented. Discount for military and AAA Seniors. Could have spent much longer here!

This is a museum of the highest quality. Amazing and interactive experience as well as very educational. I would recommend this as a must see attraction. I drove from Clearwater, FL and was not disappointed I will be back again. It is almost impossible to digest all the information in one visit.

I had two of my older teenage grandsons visiting me (cousins) and I was looking for things to do with them when i discovered the Navy Seal Museum. I thought it was worth a shot since it has proximity to a beach and if the boys were not happy they could just go to the beach.
This museum is WONDERFUL! It is interesting and well organized. The two boys were very interested in every thing! As video game players their outstanding comment was "Dang, I can't believe how really heavy these guns are!!"
They were everywhere in the museum and when it came time for us to leave they actually wanted to stay! I can't recommend it enough. It is a great family activity.

Lots of exhibits and lots to read. This place is located right by a beautiful beach. it is certainly worth a visit

I am not big on military and war,...but I love history. This interactive and informative museum WOW'd me and moved me to tears as well. I have returned with my parents as well as my son and his girlfriend. Everyone felt they were better for the visit! Makes me proud to live so close!

A great place to visit and learn more about some of our nation's finest. Great displays to include the lifeboat from the Maersk Alabama. So much history to take in and surprises around every corner. Tour is self-guided and you can take as much time as you need. Highly recommend this museum when in Fort Pierce.

Highly motivating; awe inspiring and emotional.
Many actual artifacts from SEAL operations throughout history.
Maresk Alabama life boat they Capt Phillips was rescued from.
Real Navy seal craft that you can board. Way to much to list.
Must see to believe.

Spent a good part of the afternoon exploring the Navy Seal Museum enjoying videos and descriptions of our Nation's military heroes. The tour started with the 911 terrorist attacks which included videos of the destruction of the twin towers in NYC. Also included were the Somali pirate's raid and kidnapping of Captain Phillips and the death of Osama Bin Laden. World War II exhibits and the role of Fort Pierce in the training of the Navy Seal was also included.
Overall, a good experience-very informative-not too much walking and plenty of sit-down opportunities.

We were so very impressed by the layout, information and the fact that everything on display is original and no replicas. It is run and staffed by the Veterans. We owe so much to these brave and adding souls that this place is a must see.

There were interesting exhibits and videos to watch. There were many interactive activities. The highlights include ww2 (the war in the Pacific), 9/11, capturing bin laden and the udt. The shop wasn’t great and don’t go there when it is hot as a lot of it is outside. Also one of the staff was a bit grumpy. But otherwise very good.

The Navy Seal Museum grows and changes every time I visit. I suggest allowing plenty time (3 hour minimum) as there's hordes of history to read and see. Be sure to learn WHY the Navy Seal Museum is located in Fort Pierce. If you are interested is USA military history, you'll want to visit here.
It's definitely a great venue to stimulate interest in young people about USA's involvement to support freedom throughout the world since WWII.

Absolutely amazing place. Worth every penny. You can spend hours here reading about the history of the Navy Seals. I have always been in awe of them, and after this trip, have even more respect for them.

Visited recently and had a great time, the indoor exhibits were very educational and informative. I never knew 1/10 of the stuff the Navy Seals did until after touring the museum. The outside exhibit were o.k. and the obstacle course was a plus.

Been here three times in four years and it never ceases to amaze! My children are 14 and 11, boy and girl and I thought for sure I’d get a “mom, reallly, again?!!” No, on the contrary, they discover something new every time and gain more appreciation of what these people went through and the prices they paid for our freedom.
Thank you and see you soon

Since my Dad served in the Navy during WWII, I needed to visit this special place in his memory.
It far exceeded my expectations and definitely gave me a college course on the history of the Seals.
It is a Must See in Ft. Pierce and surrounding areas. It is interactive, engaging, informative, and awe-inspiring!
Take yourselves, your kids, and grandkids to appreciate the sacrifices that others have made on our behalves!

What a wonderful place honoring all Navy Seals. It's well worth your time to visit. You can spend a lot or a little time here just depending on how much you want to read and how much of the movie you want to see. Be sure to walk around outside; I especially liked the WWII Obstacles.

Love going here that is for the navy seals. Beautiful exhibits.wall of fame, rescue boat from hijacking in captain Phillips case and above all the annual seal muster held for Veterans Day.
Located on north Hutchinson city stand and adjacent to the ocean. A fabulous place. To visit and a accredited us museum. Not to be missed

Just go, you will appreciate our freedom a lot more and it's really cool. Will see some pretty interesting equipment that was actually utilized around the world.

This was our second visit to this museum and I must say it has grown considerably since the first visit years ago. The displays feature the history of the Seals, the amount of education needed to become a Seal and some of the equipment used by the Seals. The outside displays are for the larger vehicles. There is a memorial garden to walk through and an obstacle course if you are in the mood. Finally you return to the entrance to watch a movie featuring two Viet Nam veterans who were Seals. They were later awarded the Medal of Honor.

Always love taking the kids here. Great fun inside and out. Friendly staff! Inside and outside learning with a mini obstacle course. Walking distance from the beach.

It is a nice educational place for all ages. Somewhere I learned about my dads' service. Asa navy diver.

Was my 4th or 5th trip to the museum in July 2020 - Loved the Ross Perot medal of honor statue, as tears were streaming down my face. Very moving. Spent over $75 at the gift shop but not sure when I'll wear the shirts I bought because....
The Navy seals have just broken their association with the museum.
All because in an attempt to raise money they showed off their takedown skills on a political opponent. Our military should never play political games. Ever. There is no honor in silencing opposing political views. What a horrible scene for people to see, portraying a Navy Seal to tear away at a political opponent. Should we be teaching our children that we attack and kill people that have opinions not like our own?
The Navy Seal Museum directors should be ashamed of their actions and the damage it has done to the reputation of the Navy Seals.

Great history on UDT and Seal community. Definitely worth a visit. Allow 2 to 3 hours. Right on the beach easily combined with a day visit to the beach. Explains the history of UDT/seal community. Lots of exhibits for the kids to climb on. A hidden gem

Great visit! We learned a lot about the history, landmarks and heroes of the Navy Seal.
We were lucky to meet very interested people and friendly staff.

I must admit at the beginning that I love most things Military and i was very excited to visit this Attraction! It did not disappoint at all! All of the amazing items in they museum that bring to colorful life the Navy's Demolition Team who would eventually evolve into the modern Navy Seal's. Sea, Air and Land these unsung hero truly help make America safe around the World! Leaning about the original's from World War II will totally amaze you with the determination and bravery of these most honorable men! The Museum features some great exhibits indoors and out for a complete story of the Navy Seal's. The original Life Boat Captain Phillips was rescued in is there along the Black Hawk helicopter.. It's a great Attraction and you learn so much! If your a Veteran for First Responder Let them know for an Additional Discount and don't miss the Gift Shop its very reasonable with great gifts.

Visited with my wife and friend. Greeted warmly by Steve and another gent at the desk. Steve marked off points on a map and off we went! The museum is nicely done with interactive things as well. Explains about SEALS. When they started up to the present. Their training and more. If you are in the area it is a must visit.

Exhibits were real, not mock-ups. Several historical films and posters. Workers eager to answer questions. I learned a lot and gained an enhanced appreciation for SEALs.

If you are in FT. Pierce Fl. this is one of the best museums we have visted about a special group of US super hero"s. What a wonderful testament will not spoil your visit by describing what we saw in the 4 plus hours we spent in this wonderful museum but I will tell you save the movie by the entrance for last. You will not be sorry you spent time here.

This is very interesting. They have original items from many of the SEAL missions. There are also numerous short infrormative films. This is well worth the $15 ($12 senior) admission fee.

The National Navy SEAL / UDT Museum is a must see. Located in Fort Pierce, home of the Underwater Demolition Teams that were the predecessor of the Navy SEALs. The museum was full of history and stories about the lineage and legacy of the Navy SEALs from World War II through the Global War on Terrorism and the attack on the US Embassy in Benghazi. Exhibits at the museum did a tremendous job of telling the stories of “silent warriors.” What impressed me most was all the exhibits are authentic artifacts that were from real combat operations, no replicas. What resonated with me most was the memorial they have honoring all of the UDTs and Navy SEALs who made the supreme sacrifice. Additionally, I noticed the museum has a lot of partnerships with local Boy Scouts troops as evidenced by the multiple Eagle Scout leadership projects to restore marine craft that are on display at the museum. Did I mention there is a real obstacle course you are able to attempt. I drove two hours to get to the National UDT - Navy SEALs Museum. I would strongly recommend you stop by if you have the opportunity.

Very interesting and lot of information I never knew before. Lot to see for kids and adults. I highly recommend it.

This museum is incredible how well done it is. They have stuff EVERYWHERE and that includes the ceilings. This museum has Navy SEAL history from the beginning of the service. I had no idea the seal service wasn’t that old. The helicopter was so cool to look at.

Well worth the visit!
But makes me think about all the money that goes to war could do sooo much good in our country and others. If only we could live in peace and not desire what others have…..Truly a wish but doubtful it could ever happen!
The movie was well worth the entry …. To remind us all of the tragedy of war, but the need to stand up for ourselves when threatened! And the brave souls that went to war and those that gave their lives for us……

Fort Pierce is where the Seal forerunners trained in WW2, the UDT frogmen. You saw that movie, right? Where they trained is now the location of this excellent museum, right on A1A and on the beach. Outside are some of the boats the SEALs have used over the years. Inside is the history, cool gear, a Blackhawk, the lifeboat from the Somali pirate incident seen in the movie Captain Philips, not a boat from the movie but the real boat with the bullet holes the SEALs made taking out the bad guys. A thoruoghly fascinating and informative museum well worth the trip. Every November they have a weekend with demonstrations, live music, etc. Also worth the trip. Go. You wont regret it. Way cool place. And one of the best gift shops around. Drop some money there.

Plan to spend a good amount of time to go through everything. We spent 3-4 hours reading material and watching video clips. It was truly amazing experience.

Well worth the trip. Would go again. Exhibits inside we're excellent. Bad weather prevented exploring outside exhibits. Excellent videos, very informative. Extremely helpful and friendly docents.

This was one of the most authentic and complete museums I have been too. The staff was helpful and informative. I had heard of the Navy Seals but had no understanding of their origin and the significant roll they played throughout history. If you have only one sight to see in Ft Pierce make it this museum. You will be glad you did.

There is much to see inside the museum such as WW2 weapons and history of the SEALS that trained here at Ft Pierce

Very enlightening and educational...has a senior price for admission. A real tribute to our country's Navy Seals. Has many exhibits of the actual helicopters, boats and space capsules eg: Blackhawk Down. Lots of parking, but be aware that there is a public beach off parking lot, so spaces fill up early!

My friend had been wanting to go visit this museum for about 25 years. We finally got to stop in this past month. It is a lot larger than I thought it was going to be. All of the displays and equipment are the real deal. Actual combat used pieces that have been decommissioned. They cover everything about the Navy SEALs from their beginning up to today. Well worth the time and money to check this place out.

I can't say enough good things about the Navy Seal Museum. It is well worth visiting. Over the years, it has been improved and now it is a top notch museum with plenty to experience. You don't have to be a veteran to enjoy this place. Adults and kids will find it fun and informative. My family was treated like royalty as we were allowed in for free due to my active military status. I was surprised and appreciative of their kindness. I would have paid the modest entrance fee but, the ticket person refused my offer. Thank you. This is an awesome museum in a modest town of Fort Pierce!

This was planned as a side trip on the way home from Orlando. At first, I wavered a bit because it was such an out of the way drive. It is far off the highway... but we ended up there on Memorial Day and it was a very moving experience. There were recent tributes even to the men who died in Benhazi. There is a captured ISIS flag. The equipment they use that is on display is amazing...like walking onto a James Bond movie set...they had a fake gun that is the real weight of a fully loaded gun...o my gosh...unreal what these men have to carry into combat along with all the other equipment. It is a whole different world. God bless these men who even attempt this life. I am sure though that civilian life must seem soooo boring after living such a high adrenaline life.

I first visited the Museum in 1995. I took my daughter on this trip. While the exterior was new and modern, I was sorely disappointed in many of the displays I encountered. This was my daughter's first visit and she was impressed. From my perspective, I was disappointed to see how little was dedicated to the SEAL team's time in Vietnam. Vietnam was where the SEAL's cut their teeth! I remember on my first visit, photos of each BUDS class were displayed. I expected to see them again and was told that they are now in a binder in the office. I wanted to show my daughter guys I had worked with in country... I was also informed that the museum will be expanding in the near future.

Very nice Museum. Lots of history about world wars, Seals, equipment, etc. It’s self paced, people around to answer questions, short videos. Interesting for Veterans and those interested in history. Plan on 1-2 hours.

Cooler day with a brisk north wind and mostly cloudy skies. Entrance is on the east side of the building. Discounts for seniors/vets/first responders. Starts with the current era and moves in reverse chronological order. Covers tactics/weapons and evolution of the mission of SEALs. Nice balance of hands-on, memorabilia, computer, videos. After you finish the museum outside are vehicles - mostly surface and submersibles. A very interesting obstacle course.

While we hadn't planned a visit here for our Vero Beach trip, this was the highlight and was certainly worth the entire trip! So much of what we had seen in movies or read or heard about SEALs came to life here. The exhibits were excellent and timely, the history very informative, the guides very helpful, the displays fun.
Outside are larger exhibits, a memorial to fallen SEALs, a statue depicting the No Man Left Behind motto. Also a play area for kids who want to try a challenge.

Everything is so interesting. Andy Brady gave us the tour. Kids loved it. Lots to see, wonderful locatoin. Bring a picnic lunch with you.

We spent over 3 hours and found the information and exhibits here very interesting. Could use a better summary overview of what it takes to be a Navy Seal. Movie theater small and gift shop sort of disappointing. We watched all the fascinating short videos throughout the museum - but suggest a wider walk area where these videos are positioned because other visitors would stop to talk to one another, making it difficult to hear the videos. But we are glad we visited - we learned so much!

Do not miss this. One of the most well organized and informative museums I’ve visited. You will appreciate these special Americans and their importance in today’s world.

Really great museum. The best is the staff, retired navy guys. Staff walking around, telling story's and describing in great detail the exhibits. Great outdoor exhibit in addition to the indoors. Worth a stop, check Groupon for 1/2 off the entrance fee.

This place was great to see several of the pieces of equipment and boats that are/were used be the Navy Seals and the UDT (Underwater Demolition Team) the forerunners of the Deals. There were also several volunteers on hand to tell you about the various exhibits.

It's very interesting for Vietmam War Era people. I'm a veteran but even non vets find it interesting.

My husband and his friend are veterans which made the visit even more meaningful. This day was the highlight of our month in Florida. The museum is just the right size with excellent displays, exhibits and hands-on experiences. Adults and children will enjoy this museum. Both indoor and outdoor things to do and see. I especially enjoyed watching the video in the large attack boat showing an actual engagement with the enemy featuring voice-over's by Navy seals describing their feelings during such a firefight. Awesome people. Made me so proud to be an American.

On the way to St Augustine and we stopped. Discount for over 65 or veterans, o double dipping. Understood all equipment show was real. Well presented for time periods shown.
Plan on 2 hours or more to see

Spent the afternoon at this museum. Plenty of interactive and informative displays. After time in the museum plenty of outside static displays and an obstacle course for the kids to expend some energy. The facility is clean and staffed by knowledgeable retired veterans and SEALS. The only down side is the gift shop. Lots of merchandise but the prices seem a little high. Great day!

This is a must-see. Outside there is a great collection of boats and other water craft used by the Seals. There are also some statues of the military men including one of a Navy Seal dog. A beautiful Memorial Wall has been constructed to include the men who gave their lives in various wars, and it is surrounded by beautiful flowers. In the center is a statue of a diver in mid-air as though he is diving into water. Inside is a fantastic collection of military photos, videos, equipment, a helicopter, all terrain vehicles, and too much to include here. This is a great history lesson that everyone should see! If you are up to it they have the obstacle course outside that the Seals train in and it is open to you if you are adventurous. Please stop here when in Fort Pierce FL.

So happy we visited the museum. Worth more than what they charge for admission. Very accurate information. Plan a couple of hours to really understand all the things “Seal Teams” do, especially the UDT and why it’s located in Florida.

We love going to any/all Military museum and this Navy Seals Museum is Top Notch! This museum is more than 5 stars! Inside they have tons to see and it's all REAL Navy Seals items! Touch screens for more information, Short movies and great photos! Outside boats, a cool obstacle course and more! Thank You for Your Service to All the Navy Seals!

The Navy Seal Museum is so awesome I want to go back! The way they have it set up with videos, displays, and story boards, it lets you truly see what Hero’s these men really were and are. We can’t say thank you enough for what they have done and the risks they take and have taken. This is a “must see” stop in Florida!

We visited with my 5 year old nephew and navy veteran relative and they loved it! My nephew could play on the ships in the yard and with the wooden / plastic mock guns and sit in a helicopter. We all learned about the history of the SEALS.

I am so glad I visited here. I now have a better understanding of the role they play in keeping USA safe and assisting with conflict around the world. I had no idea they were on the ground at 911. Great museum and well set out. Too hot for the obstacle course but it looked like it would be a challenge!

A lot of history of the navy seals also outside has some vehicles and boats used by the seals plus if you want to try the coarse they use to train the seals you can

I have watched this little museum grow over the years but it has been quite awhile since I last visited it. It went from a tiny place with a couple of exhibits to a lovely modern display of current Seals and their history. The outdoor exhibits now include Apollo capsules, a small sub, various military boats and an obstacle course. The inside is wonderful and gives excellent information on what the Seals did over the course of its history beginning in WW2. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, and very nice. Had an excellent time visiting here. Allow yourself a couple of hours and, if you like, Pepper Park beach which is also right there, is one of the finest beaches in the area.

We were in the area and made a point to visit and are so glad we did. We learned a lot about the history, accomplishments and sacrifices of the SEALs. It was emotional and educational.

Awesome museum!!! If you are looking for a great place to visit definitely take the time to stop here.

It is a very beautiful museum, both indoors and outdoors; we are welcomed by very welcoming veterans and quick to dialogue; many things to see, different media, films, photos, testimonies, materials, vehicles. Very interesting.

We were staying in Sabastian at a timeshare and planned a side visit to this museum. My husband being a retired Navy man had read about it and the drive was about 30 minute drive. Setting on the beach side was so appropriate. What a gem of a place to not only learn all about the history of the Seals but a total historical overview of wars our country have fought and sacrifices our soldiers have made . I can’t say enough about this museum and it’s educational value to our young and old. There are many “hands on” displays and if you just want to sit and watch the 2 hr movie that’s great too, although we only took time to watch 30 min since our time was limited. If you just want to walk around the outside of the building there is much to see and learn about. I’m sure next time we’re in the area we’ll be back.

I have been here several times. It is a testimonial to bravery, courage, patriotism and sheer determination. USN Seals are the image we want to. Demonstrate in the American Military. I am so proud to share their museum with them. All, that’s everything , is authentic through donation. Relive WW2, Nam, all desert conflicts through the eyes of true Warriors. Well worth the visit and, another, visit and, another, visit.

What a wonderful place. Everything is authentic. It is worth the trip but give yourself plenty of time. We were there for 3 hours and it was not enough time. This is a hidden gem and be sure and take the kids.

We wanted a place to stop part way on the long 4.5 hour journey from Miami to Orlando. Travelling with teens, the Navy Seal Museum on paper sounded just the ticket being located in Fort Pierce. We were not disappointed, the tickets allowed us entry to the modestly sized museum with lots of history and videos describing the rich history of the US Navy Seals. There were plenty of displays with the equipment they used over the years and some of their vehicles and boats. It was a fascinating glimpse into the long valorous history of this special forces group, thoroughly worth the stop and it is not that far off the main route between Miami and Orlando. Highly recommended!

had a fantastic time at the museum. definately worth a look. really didnt know that ft pierce was the fisrt navy seal location.

Very interesting museum, lots of equipment and weapons used since the creation of this unit. History from the creation during the 2nd World War to the more recent conflicts including the recovery of the crews of the various space missions. Do not miss.

I honestly didn't know it existed, I discovered it by chance from the map of the area.
It is a concentrate of the history of this very famous elite copero of the American Marines.
Organized in different sections, with a large exhibition of weapons, vehicles, equipment and lots of films, including historical ones, both on their main actions and training.
The external part is also beautiful with the display of some nautical vehicles and with a small but complete "training course" open to all... but not for everyone!!
The many friendly veterans/volunteers who welcome you and who monitor the rooms here and there are friendly, always ready to have a chat about their experience/history.
The adjoining shop is nearby.

Comprehensive history of Navy Seals going all the way back to WWII. Pleanty of displays and movies. Not only interesting but inspirational also. If you got any more information you would want to enlist.

Being a Navy Veteran when I discovered this was nearby to where we were I had to go check it out. What a great museum paying tribute to our greatest soldiers. If you are in the area you need to make this a must see item. They trace the history from the frogman’s beginning through current day. I really respect individuals who become Seals as I knew I didn’t have what it took. They deserve more recognition for what they do but I think they also deserve more secrecy.

We accidentally found this absolute gem of a museum. This unique museum chronologically explains the history of the Navy Seals. Starting with Osama Bin Ladin’s compound and finishing at the birth of the Underwater Demolition Teams in World War II (frogmen). Great hands on kiosks, mock weapons of the seals and an awesome outdoor obstacle course. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw on display the actual flag flown from the bridge of my grandfather’s ship in WWII. All staffed by retired seals the knowledgeable staff answered questions and added their own personal insights. One of the best military museums I’ve visited. The kids had a blast.

This museum just keeps on growing and getting better. It now has a lot of interactive exhibits both inside and outside. Your children will never know they are learning history!

We enjoyed our visit. There is a lot to see. The museum closes at 4 pm. We only had about an hour and 45 minutes and wish we had 3 hours. We did not have time to see the movie which lasts about an hour. We got the tickets through Groupon and they cost around $8.50 for the pair which is a bargain. Pepper park is next to the museum on the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They do not allow backpacks.

An insight into Seal actions since WWII. With excellent exhibits, volunteer guides very helpful. Get there early as parking also serves local beach and it gets packed on weekends!

The exhibits & displays here were very nicely done, laid out in 3 distinct areas of history (modern fight against terrorism, Korea-Vietnam, & WWII) There were many interactive features that I felt were designed to keep the kiddos involved. For instance, there were screens below several different exhibits, where you could tap & learn more about specifics within the exhibit itself. If you stop to read each panel, you could spend about 1 1/2 hours inside. Many larger vehicles, the memorial wall, a few sculptures, & the obstacle course are outside, & depending on your interest, you could spend about 1 more hour there. I was impressed with the audio-visual aspects of the exhibits & thought the hands-on items were especially nicely presented. This was a nice way to spend a cold afternoon, & I'm glad I did it.

We spent a great afternoon with the family at the super entertaining and educational museum, with the opportunity to see and pick up different weapons and shotguns, enter airplanes, and more. Highly recommended for all ages.

How can you not wanna visit the birthplace of the Navy Seals when you're in Fort Pierce? This is a wonderful local attraction that offers a glimpse of the life of a Navy Seal and some of the greatest battles they've ever fought.
Two thumbs up!

This amazing museum has some fantastic artifacts and is well worth the 2-3 hour visit. The history of this special group should be remembered and this is a fitting way to do it.

Great museum. Very nicely done and interesting. Interactive exhibits to keep the kids interested. We would highly recommend, a great way to spend a rainy day or when you just need some time out of the sun and heat.

Great place to visit and learn.
Displays are awesome and educational!
I would highly recommend for families to visit!

Awesome place. History of seal and udt’s. Very interesting, informative and interactive. I highly recommend visiting indoors and out.

My husband is a military buff and this was great for him! I enjoyed it as well. Numerous examples of Seal involved conflicts. Well done and informative.

Road trip! The UDT Navy zeal museum is really neat. We arrived just as they opened and sat down to watch the video. We only watched about 35 minutes of what w learned is a 2 hour video about the genesis and evolution from the frogmen of WWII to what ate now called the Navy Seals. Great displays of historical equipment used by our great special soldiers as well as some watercraft located outside. It will take you a couple of hours to see it all assuming you don’t watch the whole video. Highly recommended!

Great place to be able to understand the role of the UDT/Seal teams in the past present and future. If you worked with the teams it brings back many memories. A place to stop to reflect.

We have visited before and loved it. This time we did the Special access Program tour and found it to be amazing. Commander Mann spent some time with us and was very generous with his time. Our other guide was Andy and he was a blast. We saw the museum in new ways and learned new stories (and probably a few good lies).
The museum is this amazing collection of real artifacts and genuine staff and volunteers. Met several Seals who were visiting and had some incredible conversations. We are thankful that such a place exists to honor these men and the sacrifice they make.
We drove 2.5 hours just for this and I’ll go again and again.
There’s too many favorites to list. But the staff and volunteers are easily mine. They are there to interact with and they are amazing people with even more amazing stories.
Can’t wait to make a special trip for the muster this fall.

Our family had visited this museum many times over the years including a number of demonstrations and events. Our most recent visit was in July 2020. That will be our last visit though. We learned museum leadership politicized itself by hosting a fundraiser where dogs attacked a trainer wearing a Kaepernick jersey. We will not be returning to this museum again because we do not want our children to think the Navy, by way of this museum, has a political agenda. The Navy should protect and serve all Americans: black, white, conservative, liberal or independent.

This is an excellent museum. It is small packs and so much information displays and interactive exhibits that bring to life recent as well as the long past history of the navy seals as well as the location itself I really enjoyed chatting with the veterans on staff, the photo ops, informative videos, and both indoor and outdoor exhibits.

Great experience. So much to see and learn. Hands on experience were awesome. You need lots of time here. So much information on Navy Seals and other military. Seeing boats, submarines, capsules and planes up close is inspiring. Need to go again!

This is a beautiful museum and to be able to visit the exhibita outside is even better. It makes a nice family day to have a picnic, visit the beach, and view history of the Navy Seals.

We visited this museum while on vacation. This place is very well setup and it begins with the history of seals during the current time of terrorism and ends with the history of seals during Vietnam and the frogmen of WWII. There are a lot of items on display and a lot of excellent history. Well done!

Who knew they started right here! - well we do now. The museum is well laid out with a good initial 'wow' followed by a great timeline and history laid out with a continuing number of amazing and interesting exhibits.
The staff were very friendly, welcoming and polite. There is enough to see here that it takes more time that you realise.
Love the gift shop too :)

We only had 2 hours because of another appointment but could have spent 5-6 hours easy! There are so many things to experience, hands on, read about & watch videos. Truly a National Treasure! We were amazed!

The museum has loads of war memorabilia, and historical displays showing the development of the training base. Several outdoor exhibits including a Vietnam "swiftboat", much bigger than you would think. The also have the lifeboat from the Mearsk Alabama where the captain was kidnapped and held, and the SEALS rescued him. Also saw parasailers glide in, several swam in from offshore, and some kind of explosive demonstration-very loud! An all-around great place to visit.

Went to the Navy Seal Muster. This museum and the Seals are amazing. There was a Sunday morning memorial for Seals who have left us. It was the most touching and heart warming memorial I have ever experienced.

It seems to add new items every time we've been there. Very informative place. The quote, about history repeating itself might be seen here. From WW 2 on to the present.

This is an outstanding museum you don't want to miss. We spent 4 hours going through all the exhibits. You can see it in half the time if you don't attend the 2 hour movie, but it is a highlight as it provides you the history of the Seals from beginning to present and we learned a lot. I highly recommend it. You will enjoy sitting in a black hawk helicopter, maybe seeing and petting a Navy K9 puppy, seeing Seal Delivery vehicles, maybe trying out the obstacle course, and getting a real appreciation for all the Seals do! You can even dress up for a photo opp!

A lot of information and volunteers sharing insights. All items have been used in battles or training. It is easy to envision the brave seals in these vehicles on their mission.

This isn't the type of place I would typically visit. It was cold and wet and I was looking for an indoor activity. I'm SO glad I went. There were some great displays and it shed new light on what becoming a SEAL entails. It was informative, well done and engaging. There is an outdoor obstacle course which would be fun to attempt (if it wasn't raining), and a lot of outdoor exhibits. Inside, there are displays, interactive areas and a movie. Highly recommend

I'm not really that interested in this type of museum but i really loved this one. so interesting and fun.

The museum truly is a hidden gem of our country's history. We watched a long movie at the end, that tied all of the exhibits together. They did a great job at giving hands on things to see and touch, as well as historical short videos to go along with the displays. I just had no idea about the Undersea Demolition Teams critical roles during the D Day invasion, and other battles including in the Pacific. They seem to have been overlooked for so many decades of their existence. The current day Seals have come into their own, but their historical events during so many wars and conflicts, is shown and explained in this little museum.

went with my son- who is a merchant marine from KP
had a great time! would go again. great stories of heroics.

Enjoyed our visit to this museum and all the outside vehicles and monuments. There are many interactive displays as well as short films to watch. Perfect for all ages!

We loved the staff who were answering questions all day. Great displays. I wish we had more time. Reflect at the memorial. Learn about these brave people who serve.

Do yourself a favor and go! It was a fascinating look into the life of the Navy SEALs . We spent an hour and a half there and still didn’t see everything. The obstacle course was impressive. Admission price wasn’t out of hand either.

Excellent facility dedicated to the UDT and Seal Teams. Give yourself a couple of hours to see everything there.

very nice display and park area parking great , enjoy the landing crafts and boats that made us what we are today take the tour its worth it lots of history

Great museum with priceless artifact and great preservation of seal team history. Friendly staff and awesome store with something for everyone! You absolutely have to attend the Muster!

The Navy Seal UDT museum is a hidden gym. There are tons of exhibits, vehicles, informational videos and a details visual history of the Navy Seals and UDT teams. If you are in any way a fan of the military, and specifically the Seals, I would highly recommend a visit to this museum. It was inspiring!!

We visited the Navy Seal Museum a few weeks ago. They had some very interesting artifacts and amazing stories about how the navy seals protect our country. There is also a large display outside. It is definitely worth a visit. You can save $$$ if you have an entertainment book as it is buy one get one for $15.

Happen to be driving down the highway and saw the sign. It was almost shocking how well this museums was put together and run. Could’ve spent all day there. Highly recommend you visit this spectacular attraction.

The staff was more than amazing and patient they went above and beyond to make my family feel special! We got to see active duty dogs. It was such a cool experience would definitely recommend!

I think that too few understand or know anything about the training and accomplishments of the SEALS. The whole story is amazing as are the young men who become SEALS and serve their country.

Very impressive experience. Very authentic and informative. Well done exhibits. Humbling experience. All should see.

Very nice museum and bigger than we expected. Full of memorabilia from past wars. Actual helicopter and boats that were used. Definitely worth our visit.

From children to grandparents, this Museum has something of interest for the whole family. Outside you can try your hand at an obstacle course, board one of the high speed boats on display and if you are lucky, as we were, they were training one of their dogs at the obstacle course. Every display is authentic, the Black Hawk helicopter and the Captain Phillips actual lifeboat that he was saved from by the Seals are just 2 of many fascinating displays. You need to set aside at least 2 hours to enjoy all this museam has to offer.

Very interesting. We spent a couple hours and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lots of information and lots of things to see although we missed some parts that were outside because it started raining.

This is a must see museum if you are in the Vero Beach, Ft. Pierce area. Incredible amount of artifacts. Laid out very well with great informational videos. There is a lot to see and read about. We spent a little over an hour and a half there, could have spent longer if we were to read every informational item. This is truly a great museum.

If you are planning a visit to the area you must include the museum on your list. The exhibits are AWESOME and you can even touch or sit in some of the vehicles. The outdoor area is incredible as well. Full size vessels and mock up trainers. Will be going back to see all of the things we didn't catch on the first visit.

This is a perfect destination when the weather is crappy. Don't get me wrong, this is an important museum honoring our veterans. But if you come to town for beaches and fishing, this is a great bad weather option.
The museum has a lot of interesting items, including helicopters, weapons', drones and uniforms.
They also do a great job of explaining what you are looking at.
There are several short movies that also provide context.
The gift shop has many unique items too.
My only complaint is that, while they give you a map of the museum with a suggested route, it is a little confusing sometimes to know where you are supposed to go next.
The museum has many boats and vehicles on display outside. But since it was raining when we went, we skipped those.
This is easily worth 90 minutes of your day.

Very interesting history of Navy Seal program. Indoor displays and outdoors various boats are on display, some can be boarded. Worth visiting

This museum is well done. It is presents the history of Navy Seal development by their involvement during various wars. Military equipment and weaponry is well presented. There are several outside displays. The entire museum and grounds are clean. Plan to be here for a couple hours.

We decided to take a trip with our 17 year old son who is aspiring to become a Navy Seal. This trip was so amazing of an experience to say the least. I wish there was allot more stars I could choose to rate! From start to finish, it is hands down so unique to Seals and the Navy. While we were there we had a tour guide that was actually a formal Seal himself!!!! Make sure you take the time to watch the movie at the end. It’s 2 hours and is such a HUGE part of the overall experience. My son left there with an awesome sense of pride even more and he’s getting ready to take his MEPS and will be joining very soon. Thank you for having such an awesome place to visit. We will be back and who knows maybe even with a Seal.

The Navy UDT-SEAL Museum is a place you don’t want to miss if you visit Fort Pierce, specially if you’re a History Buff.
It is located in St Lucie County, outside of Fort Pierce. It houses many exhibits inside the main building as well as the outside, where most of the crafts and monuments are located. This museum holds a lot of history, educating visitors and preserving the history of the role of the Navy’s UDT and Sea, Air & Land Teams.
The Museum is closed on Monday.

I am an avid Navy SEAL supporter so when I found out that I had a meeting in Miami, I immediately extended my stay and planned a trip up to the museum. It is about a 2.5 hour drive north of Miami, so I was worried that maybe the museum would not live up to expectations. But for me, when I got there, I was like a kid in a candy store. Really loved it. Great for all ages - young kids on up. It’s also interactive, so you can feel part of the process. And there are several very cool exhibits to see - some of which are quite famous. If you care at all about this kind of thing, go!!!

From start to finish this was a worthwhile and interesting experience. You can easily expect to spend at least 3 hours here.

We stopped at Fort Pierce for the night on our way to Key West. I read about the museum from a brochure I picked up at
the welcome center. I am so glad we went. So much history about the brave soldiers that sacrificed for our freedom.

Fantastic museum with several great things to see . Must see movie on history of seals very interesting and informative. Also try to do the obstacle course and certainly try to catch dog training show

This collection is extremely impressive and comprehensive. Make sure you have a few hours to see everything and read the plaques - a great education

As a Vietnam veteran, seeing this was an emotional experience. Every exhibit was put together with professionalism and the staff are amazing. A must see.

What an amazing museum this is! This museum should be on everyone's bucket list, it's a must see. Tons of history, hands on exhibits and so many learning opportunities it's unreal! From beginning to end, outside and inside, the attention to detail and facts is stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed our day here and will probably be back before we leave because I'm sure we missed a lot!
A MUST STOP AND VISIT
From my first visit 20 years ago, when the museum was in its early stages and rough around the edges, today it is a first class facility that truly honors the Navy Frogman / SEAL Heritage.
The museum staff has done an exemplary job of capturing essence of the Naval Special Warfare Family. The exhibits will memorialize, teach, and / or entertain you depending on your desire and place in life.
Plan to stop for an hour and leave several hours later.
