To be fair Tyler and the moonshine tasting was a great experience… now in the “restaurant “ area and it has gone down hill. It is MONDAY at 4:40 and the napkin dispenser says happy hour 3-6 so we order the 2 for one margs only to be told that isn’t an option even though every table says it is.. NOPE they won’t budge. Ordered a bite to eat and an unappetizing quesadilla comes out without any pico or sour cream or anything just a grilled tortilla with melted cheese… BYE not coming back…

What a fun experience. From the minute we walked in, we were greeted and helped. Cale, our witty and spunky bartender, brought it to the next level. There were at least 15 people at his section of the bar and he had everyone engaged and laughing. The samples all exceeded our expectations and it was a nice variety. We then went to the food side for a bite and again were impressed with the quality of food and service. I highly recommend the fish taco and lamb taco. Thanks for a fun afternoon!

Chrissy took us on an excellent adventure through our moonshine tasting!!! She answered any questions we had about the flavors and even gave us her favorite recipes and ways to use them herself! Dalton did a great job and the products were delicious. Very fun place to visit but it's also very busy so plan extra time.

Monday, March 31, our organization had a get together and we were placed in the out building.

It was a fabulous night, and one of the highlights was our bartender Lilah. Lilah served all of the guests, approximately 100 all by herself. Her drinks were spot on and she always had a smile on her face. Lilah did a outstanding job and needed to, needs to be recognized.

Shain was an amazing, down to earth bartender for our moonshine tasting. Appreciated his drink recommendations for the moonshine!

Had a great time. The drinks were great. The moonshine tasting, so worth the $10. Plus if you buy something in the store, you have a $10 coupon to use after the tasting. Just a great place.

Lilah was a fantastic bartender. She was very friendly. The drinks were perfectly crafted and chilled to a perfect temperature. I also had a fabulous taco from the White Taco Duck Shop.

Amazing experience for a quick drop in. Our host Zana was knowledgeable and entertaining. I can't recommend this enough for a couple or a group want to fill a few minutes in a fun and amadfordable way.

A very nice place to spend some time and money, especially if you like Moonshine. You couldn't ask for a better selection to choose from. Plenty of souvenir merchandise, and tastings are available to help you make your moonshine selections. It's a restaurant and bar as well. It's a little removed from the heart of Broadway, but not too far to walk.

Chrissy was awesome! She was super friendly and made the tasting so entertaining! She was very interactive with the tasters!

I love Ole Smoky Moonshine however the tasting was not worth it. We could only do the no reservation tasting as the other were booked during the time we were there.
We had no choice in what we sampled which was disappointing as there were flavors we wanted to try. We did get to pick the beer, of the 6 of us that went none of us finished as it was not good.
The host had no personality or ever really explained anything and each of the seven samples came in the same cup, she just refilled it which was no good as it changes the flavour.
Would not do again unless we did the tour and tasting

We had a great time at the moonshine tasting with Cale. The selzer and the sour grape were particularly delicious. Lots of tasty moonshines to taste.

We did a tour and tasting at Ole Smoky Distillery. Wayne was our host. He was very funny while also being thorough about the process of distilling Moonshine and brewing beer. All five of us enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it if you are in Nashville. The Restaurant and store also was worth visiting.

Savannah was amazing! So fun. It was her birthday and I felt like we were celebrating with friends. Came with a part of 5 and only waited a few minutes to sample. Great place to visit on a weekday

Great variety of different beers on tap that are brewed on site. We sat outside in the sun which was a great space however plenty of indoor space too. Only let down was there was no live music on at the time we were there.

Cale made our experience so whimsical and fun. He made us laugh and the moonshine was delicious. I’ve never tasted it before but was pleased to find it didn’t taste much like alcohol

Saw this listed on one of the top places to visit and my boyfriend and I came in for a tasting. Chrissy was our server and she was personable, informative, and fun! Although the blue flame (I think it’s called) nearly did me in, she promised I’d be rewarded and that we got the hardest out of the way. And that promise she did fulfill! The tasting was fun and the atmosphere at the distillery is great - awesome for groups of all sizes. The Yee Haw beer is good too - the Rita was delish.

Visiting the Ole Smoky Distillery was a blast! The personnel were fun and incredibly knowledgeable, explaining the various moonshines during the tasting. They did a great job suggesting the best way to drink and use the different flavors. Highly recommend for a lively experience!

We had heard about this location from both friends and locals and happened upon it during our travels. We started with a tasting with Chrissy. The spirits were great and service was top notch. Afterwards we checked out their outside seating/games. Overall vibe was very relaxed and fun. Drinks were great. I enjoyed a caramel and coke and my wife a moonshine mule. Absolutely worth checking out if your in the area.

Visited this large brewery / distillery two years ago. I remembered enjoying it so I returned this visit. The venue is well done. Spacious and with lots of amenities. Large screen television, games and music. The place has a rather extensive souvenir shop and they sell the “moonshine” that the distillery sells. The last time we visited TN we drank the moonshine but passed on the sugary KoolAid this time. Not a fan of the stuff. Worth a try though.

Now for the beer. I always try breweries everywhere I go and drink the local brews when available. I think I am objective and use the Delaware breweries as my baseline. The beer is very good here in DE, PA and MD. I ordered a flight of two IPAs, a red ale and a stout. The stout was fair and had flavor and body. The other three were without flavor and watery. I would label them as bad beer. Some of the worst I have ever had. In all fairness to this brewery, none of the local IPAs I drank in Nashville were very good. Not an IPA part of the country. My recommendation would be stay away from the local brews and stick to the nationwide beers.

Zane was awesome. He explained each sample and provided suggestions on how to enjoy. Third time doing the tasting. Highly recommend whenever you are in Nashville.

So we went for a pre-party for Pearl Jam fan club. The place was cool and had good vibe. Fun things to do and the white duck taco food was excellent.
So if I get a moonshine drink I expect it to be strong. I was more sober when I left than when I went it. My wife is a two drink max before she gets tipsy. She was sober. Pretty sure drinks had zero alcohol. We left early to get a real drink.
Drinks were really all sugar and no alcohol.
As a distillery they need to do better.

So let's start with the test shots we were served both drink and knowledge by our server Alexis L. Fine young lady who knew her stuff. We enjoyed the shots and conversation with her 10 out of 10 would recommend her. Now the drinks so... very good the whiskey is very good but the sour watermelon is freaking awesome. Got some jars and a free cooler so win win there good time had by all.

The overall atmosphere of the Brewery was fun and entertaining! A great place to bring the whole family or hang out with adults. There are free retro arcade games that our children loved to play while we hung out and relaxed with a refreshing beer. Highly recommend!

Wow! I am not a whiskey or moonshine person per say but the premium tasting experience with Zane was amazing. He explained everything and how we can best enjoy each flavor. Loved everything and now need to check our luggage because we are buying a few. Damn those TSA restrictions lol

Zane was the man. Very informative, very cool. Even gave us humor. We took 10 shots and he explained them perfectly. If I had the means, I’d buy all of them.

This place was so loud and the horrible techno music was blaring so intensely- that it was insane. Went there to watch NFL Sunday games and could barely get a drink and it wasn’t even that busy. Bartenders even had to ask a patron to write down order inside bc she couldn’t hear. Took about 15 minutes to get beer. Between intense techno and people screaming trying to play cornhole and customers yelling over techno music it was too much. Tried to go inside but it was still blaring inside. Won’t be back on our Nashville adventures.

This was my favorite part of my recent trip to Nashville! Our bartender, Cale, was funny, but still warm. A real crowd pleaser! He fully explained how to enjoy the moonshine tasting. He pushed sales by making the product seem too good to pass up. Loved that part. We also enjoyed the beer garden and some delicious steak Tacos. I'd do a night here over those touristy overpriced roof top bar any day. Highly recommend!

Cale was great for the gearing . He explained are tasting 100%. My husband and I will be leaving with 2 bottles of moonshine. This was a destination on our trip to Nashville. So glad we stopped and did the tasting. Worth every penny. And Cale was awesome

We waited about 15 min to do our tasting. Which was fine for C M festival weekend! It was either $10 or $13 depending on your tier of sampling .
Our server was polite and answered questions. We sampled a variety of things. I never would have tried. From moonshine pickles, infused pineapple, margarita beer to Whiskey. The bar was lively with live entertainment. The shop had great gifts, cute T shirts ( expensive)and we got $10 off your purchase when done.

Kaitlyn was amazing for our tasting! She was super personable and knowledgeable. Had our kids asleep in the stroller and it was 10/10.

What a cool venue‼️ You walk in and just are hit with a wall of every flavor under the sun for moonshine and it just captivates you. On the other side is an amazing taco spot as well, with great customer service (I forgot his name), but the guy running it was exceptional. Outside has a huge area with games and plenty of space to host a group of friends. STAR OF THE VENUE IS MALIK tho; this young man knows his stuff and delivers in the most comical but so knowledgeable way; HATS OFF TO HIM, his moonshine tasting experience is pure magic. TONY also runs the mini store register and has an amazing personality and truly makes you feel at home. GREAT CREW/TEAM, amazing establishment.

I had the pleasure of doing a moonshine tasting with Zane at Ole Smoky’s Distillery, and he made the entire experience unforgettable. From the moment we walked up, Zane’s energy was contagious — he was funny, knowledgeable, and made everyone in the group feel welcome.

He did a great job breaking down the different flavors, mixing in history with a sense of humor that kept us laughing the whole time. It never felt rushed, and you could tell he genuinely enjoys what he does. Zane encouraged us to try new things and gave great suggestions on which bottles to take home (he was right — the [insert your favorite flavor here] was a hit).

Beyond just pouring samples, Zane created an atmosphere where it felt like you were hanging out with a friend rather than sitting through a tasting. The whole group left talking about how much fun we had, and he turned what could have been a quick stop into a highlight of the trip.

If you’re visiting Ole Smoky’s, ask for Zane. He’s the type of person who elevates the experience and makes you want to come back.

Rob was an amazing host, describing the moonshine flavors and entertaining us as we tasted them. Try the coffee for a spiked espresso flavor, apple pie or combine the cola and wild cherry. Definitely worth a visit!
