We stopped twice on a recent visit to Gurnee. I'm an official beer nerd and have visited craft breweries all over the country. This places rocks. Beer is awesome! Atmosphere wonderful and the owners and bartenders are great people. I can't wait to visit again.

We come to Only Child because of the friendly relaxing atmosphere. And the beer. Tonite they released a new brew, I Spy. Pretty good. The one I am having tonite is Stigma Crusher. Stop by and check it out!

I've been looking for a small brewery in the area and stopped after work. Met some nice people and a puppy doggie! Definitely loved the beer!

With all the choices anymore for brewery stop, a place needs to be memorable. Had a stout here that was ok, but there are plenty other stops to choose from when traveling Chicago/Milwaukee.

We were so excited to hear about this new brewery's grand opening today in Gurnee, IL. Gurnee has been in need of this type of location. So head on over, belly up to the bar and try their brews. They have a lot of variety and you'll find something you'll like!

The location is a bit hidden within a business district, but once inside it's a very friendly and clean environment. The staff is great and there is always a different variety of beer to choose from. I recommend buying a flight to sample multiple brews! Outside food can be ordered and delivered to the brewery as well.

I visited mid week before dinner. The address is easy to find, but since it is located in a business park, perhaps not what you may expect from the outside. The inside is industrial but nicely done. The copper brewing vats are in the rear of the narrow space and very impressive looking. There were only a few people visiting, but it was still early. I enjoyed a double IPA with rye which seemed to hit the spot. Perhaps a little pricey at $8. The atmosphere was enjoyable and had lots of promise.
There is room to improve the vibe there. I would like to try a weekend visit.

Super good variety and all are tasty. The Vienna Lager was so creamy. The Citra was good as was the birra. All of them were super good. Definitely come if at Great Wolf Lodge or close by. It’s also dog and kid friendly. A flight is 4 4 oz pours for 9.00. They do offer a military and teachers discount. Great spot.

This is my way of saying not everything is an IPA , they also has a rye sour, and wheat . They take care of their guests. It is bring your own food , or order pizza in.
Last night they had music for the first time and it was very pleasant.

Our first time to Only Child Brewing Co.. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff and unique beer selections. I really enjoyed the rustic decor. It's a pretty open concept too. It looked like they potentially have a great spot for some live music. They seem to be dog friendly people as well. I'm not sure if they only let people they know bring in their well behaved dogs, or what. There was one dog that was there, with a customer, leashed. One of the staff's dogs was crated in the back as well. My husband and I certainly don't mind that, as we love dogs. However, I do think they should specify whether or not they allow customer's to bring in their dogs, just for clarification. We did not see signage anywhere. Prices seem quite comparable to other brewerys in the area. I think very fair prices for the quality as well. Much more quiet atmosphere than Timothy O'Tooles. Only 1 TV behind the bar from what we saw. They put on the Blackhawks game when we were there, which we appreciated. :)

It is a fantastic place to go to, to support local business. I'm very happy to see Gurnee with a brewery! We will continue to go here! Keep it up, Only Child Brewing Co.!

Small micro brewery in a industrial park area a little hidden but if you like beer you need to try this one,shuffle board game ,board games couches to relax on,great low key place.

We enjoy stopping here to have a beer with friends. Relaxed, low key, dog friendly, and fresh pop corn. What more do you need? You can also bring food in. Always enjoyable.
