The organ playing is amazing and pizza is very good as well. Customers can put in song requests and amazingly the organ player knows them ALL.

We were on a visit to Phoenix for spring break with our kids (ages 9, 6, 5, and 3) with another family. of 5 We randomly heard of Organ Stop and decided to give it a try. It was so much fun!

OVERVIEW
Show up, get in line, order your food (but not drinks--that is, weirdly, in a separate place), pick a table in the hall (two stories), watch the bingo-like board for your number to show up, buy drinks at the counter (water and ice machine is self serve), eat and watch the organ show for as long as you want, leave.

THE GOOD
There is a huge organ that comes up out of the ground while playing fun, loud organ music. The organist plays for 30 to 45 minutes, the organ lowers down for a 10 to 15 minute break, and then another set until closing. You stay as long as you like. It appeared that in between sets was the highest outflow of spectators.

When he came back from a break he played the Indiana Jones theme which bled into the Star Wars opening credits--big hit with the crowd! Another hit was a Phantom of the Opera medley. I can't describe how good it sounds when there are organ pipes literally all around you. The front wall is a massive floor-to-ceiling combination of pipes. The back wall upstairs has them, the ceiling has them, the side walls have drum sets and other instruments. There are lights, puppets, bells, drums, big horns, little horns, everything.

The organist takes requests. Place your request into the fishbowl in the front and he occasionally grabbed a few. He had no written music. He just went to town from his memory and by ear.

The crowd is involved. Clapping, smiles, cheering throughout the experience.

The pizza is good-ish. Not to die for, but good.

THE BAD
Crowded! We showed up a 4:15 pm and there was a line 50 deep out the door! Who the heck goes to eat dinner that early? We were certain it would be smooth sailing but the Phoenix snow birds were out in force. (It took about 15 minutes to get through the line--so don't be intimidated if it happens to you). When we left the hall an hour or so later, there was still a line out the door. Not as big, but still there.

It is first come, first serve on family-style seating in the hall. There is no check in person, no staff directing traffic. Just go to the hall and find a table...if you can. This was, by far, the biggest bummer. Because it was crowded, there was a certain dog-eat-dog eliminate to seating. At first, we had to go to the second floor and could not really see the show. After we wrapped up dinner we were able to find a table on the main floor and enjoy it for 15 minutes before we decided to leave.

Drinks were in a separate line/area. I have no idea why, it seemed to be completely unnecessary to me. After you get your order you have a separate area/line to buy drinks and get water.

Cash and checks only! I imagine, because it is so popular, they want to save on credit card fees. There is an ATM in the lobby.

Communication about "how organ stop works" was poor. They could really use a sign and directions online. As is, you just wander in and figure it out.

TIPS
While your party is waiting in line to order, send a few people into the hall to find seats. There is no one that checks you in or confirms anything. Just walk in and find a seat.

Bring cash.

Manage your expectations. It will be crowded. Just go with the flow and have fun.

Come early or late. The crowds will be most manageable.

Very busy, good pizza with the organ music is a must see. Don't let the long lines fool you, these people know how to move food and people .

I thought...a pizza place with a big organ. WAS I WRONG! This place is amazing! First, it was much bigger than I expected. Pizza places are not 2 story large buildings! Then, the Organ! It's huge and connected to more than just over 600 pipes. There's instruments of all kinds mounted everywhere. There's special effects and puppets. I didn't want to leave! I couldn't wait to see what music he was going to play next! They take requests and the first thing I could think of was that Bohemian Rhapsody would be great on this organ. Guess what he played next? BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY!!
It was amazing and exhausting for him but the best sound ever! They played Disney selections, American patriotic songs, and Happy Birthday after every break for those who turned in a card for a birthday. The entertainment was worth it. The pizza was good, but you come to this place for the music!

By Kyle G |

The organ player was amazing....so talented, fun, and knew a wide span of songs. The pizza was great. We did not have the salad bar, nor ice cream, but both looked very good! So fun to sit back and enjoy the music, watch the families, and relax over pizza

By Suzy Orrsome |

Well not what I expected but still definitely a great experience. The organ is a spectacle, we sat upstairs so got great views, I think I’d sit downstairs next time and just go upstairs to take pics. I didn’t expect it to be fast food and queue up to order, but the pizza was excellent, one of the best I’ve ever had! Get there early because it does will up. You can also make requests so the music is for anyone, we started with Les miserables, then thru to John Denver, Disney and the Beatles, he will do a shout out for special occasions too. Great atmosphere 10/10

This is an interesting place to spend a couple of hours. The food is "okay". The pizza crust is nice and crispy. The menu is fairly limited, but good. Know ahead that this is CASH ONLY but I think they have an ATM onsite. Hubby is not a music fan, so wasn't much interested in that, but was fascinated by the "mechanics" behind the music. We were probably here for just over an hour, and thought it was fun thing to check out. Definitely fun for the elderly and the young.

By John N |

Definitely a must stop while visiting the valley! This place is amazing and one of the best music shows I've ever seen and that is saying a lot considering I've attended Orchestral, Operatic, Ballet, and Theatre Performances. I would go back every week if I lived in the area. Simply amazing! Don't be shy and put some requests in the box when you go. You'll be surprised how wide a selection they will perform!

By ArizonaJIMandJILL |

The Wurlitzer Organ is so unique that just going to enjoy the performance of the organist is worth the visit. The food (we had a vegetarian pizza) is OK and they do have other options besides pizza. The purpose of the visit is all about the organ.... not the food and not to visit with each other. The volume of the organ is loud so plan on just watching and listening.

By Michelle az |

Fun musical show with the organ. Excited to bring my elderly parents there to enjoy the music. I think elementary school kids would like it. Teens might like it if they played popular music.

We enjoyed the variety of music they played. Really like that the organist played "total eclipse of the heart" in honor of the total eclipse this week!

Fun, easy, inexpensive dinner. Just know you must have cash or a check to pay for dinner.

By J5302DCmarkj |

second time I visited, very entertaining. The organist does take requests and plays a wide variety of music. Great for the entire family

By E-Lynn-Br |

The organ is truly amazing, and the show was fun. However, it's too loud to talk. And I didn't like the food - poor quality pizza and a limited salad bar.

By flowconvis |

Outstanding talent providing outstanding music complemented by outstanding food!!! If you like music, especially organ music, you will enjoy a wonderful experience. With almost 1,300 stellar ratings on Trip Advisor, you know this place has to be good. When the organist played the Canadien national anthem, all of the Canadiens stood and sang their anthem. When the organist followed by playing "The Star Spangled Banner" EVERYONE in the house was standing and belting out the words! A very heart-warming and patriotic experience that brought smiles to our faces and tears to our eyes. It was wonderful.
The food is good -- I've not had a better pizza anywhere.
Prepare yourself for a fun experience. Be sure your family and friends know about this fantastic place !!

By Pamela G |

I love Organ Stop pizza. The pizza is pretty good, but the real reason to go is the entertainment. It is magical to have the organ rise up out of the floor with music filling the room and a light ball spinning.. There are pipes and pianos and trumpets and dancing cats and tweety birds in cages and bell etc all around the two story dining area that play at different times during the performance. If you stay long enough the Organ Player will probably get to one of the tunes you have submitted. It is so much fun for all ages.

By 816drewd |

It was a favorite of our senior (79) parent, food was okay not brilliant. Family safe environment with over fair to good experience for all that attended years from 8 - 79

By Jo-dashR |

Friends of ours suggested this unique restaurant, which was built around a Wurlitzer organ. Very talented organists provide awesome entertainment. If you ever get a chance, you should definitely stop in!

By Gary I |

On our recent vacation we had heard about the Organ Stop Pizza and decided to see what it was all about. I thought, ok a big organ and pizza, what could be so great about this place. Boy was I wrong! Words can't describe the organ or the performance of the artist playing what has to be one of the biggest organs in the world. Not your fathers organ or music. He played songs from Elvis, Queen, Beatles, Classic music, and Patriotic songs....a wide range for everyone. Just Wow! The pizza was good and the grandkids liked the huge ice cream sundaes they got. One drawback was that it was really busy. If you only have time for one stop in the Mesa Arizona area, make it the Organ Stop Pizza. Opens at 5pm. You won't be disappointed!

Love, Love, Love this place. Have been about 4 times. Kids love it and dance in the aisles to the music.
Took friends from out of town and they had a blast. This place is fun for the kid in all of us!! I recommend everyone try out this pizza joint at least once. I guarantee you will return.

By Btimes2605 |

We had heard about this restaurant but never had a chance to stop by until this trip. They have the process down to an art, and the pizza is pretty tasty as well. Now this is not a place you want to go to if you're looking for a quiet sit-down meal. The organ is going to be loud but that's the point. Great entertainment.

By justbeachy6 |

We did a quick trip to Phoenix and the Grand Canyon and this place was the highlight of the trip for the kids. I think they liked it better than the Grand Canyon...which I think is crazy :-) The pizza was good and reasonably priced. We sat in the balcony near the front and I wouldn't recommend that spot. I think you can take in more of what's happening if you are more in the middle, but we still really enjoyed it!

By Samantha B |

Wow, this place is hard to describe accurately. Imagine a building where half of it is occupied by the most tricked out organ imaginable and you're getting closer. What an awesome one of a kind experience! 10/10 would go again and again.

By Quinten S |

This place is amazing for anyone that enjoys music and oddities! I loved seeing the largest organ ever and eating pizza, because obviously organs and pizza go together like bread and garlic- right?

By Marie |

Pizza and salad bar. The pizza is pretty good and the salad bar is great. Service is also very good. Very reasonable prices. The draw is the organ. There are musical performances as well as a puppet show several times an evening. The organist takes requests and the crowd becomes quite involved making it fun for all in attendance. We have spent several enjoyable evenings at the Organ Stop including a family birthday celebration. It is family friendly. If possible, everyone should experience the Organ Stop at least once.

By Crazy Dave |

This is a must see tourist destination.
Experiencing the pipe organ is fun enough, but getting a good tasting pizza at a reasonable price is frosting on the cake.
BE ADVISED……Getting there early at 4:00 you will stand in line with 10,000 “Cotton Tops!”
My advice…….go at 6:30 when they are all leaving for home. (Remember, Snow birds MUST be in bed by 8:00 pm or they can’t get up at 4:00 am!)

By chochunter |

We went here for a birthday party. The live organ music was fun with a varied selection of tunes that appeal to young and old; family and America driven. I was surprised to see rows of picnic tables and benches for seating which may be somewhat challenging for seniors. I was also surprised at the "order at the counter" format with a separate line for ordering drinks. I missed some of the music visual while waiting in line outside the main dining/event room. The Hawaiian pizza was good and I liked the crispy crust; some would think it is too thin. Quite casual, family atmosphere.

By Dogfan99 |

This was our 2nd visit to OS Pizza in as many years. The organ is magnificent! The pizza although expensive is pretty good. We were there on this visit on a weeknight. The place was busy and seating was tight.

The staff is friendly and helpful. As Organ & Pizza goes, the music and organ is second to none. If visiting the Phoenix area, this has to be on your bucket list!

By cdberg |

Organ Stop Pizza is a must see in Mesa. The organ and pipes are incredibly huge, and the organist we listened to was amazing. Oh, and the pizza was decent with a pretty complete salad bar. But never mind the food, it’s all about the music.

By PJ P |

What a fabulous experience! Had pizza with family over the Christmas holiday at Organ Stop Pizza. Fantastic organist playing songs from many different eras and controlled all these instruments all over the dining hall. It was a sights and sounds spectacular event. You must go if you are in the area. If you live there, be sure to take your out-of-town guests. The place was packed on a Tuesday night but we were able to find seats quickly. The pizza was good, too!

By Mickontheway |

First off, don't go with someone that you want to talk with. The combination of the crowd and the organ make conversation impossible. Next the pizza is passable but nothing I'd drive out of my way to eat. Third observation. I suspect they're tough on their employees as they are almost always hiring.

By gprocyshen |

We took friends here for good pizza and entertaining evening. We all enjoyed our dinner, and the organ music was wonderfully. Our friends were delighted.

By David |

Organ Stop is a great evening of entertainment. They offer numerous pizzas but the highlight is the Wurlitzer theatre organ, the largest Theatre Pipe Organ of any type ever assembled. Great experience for everyone.

By medada |

Went last night with my family (parents, husband, and daughter) Everyone loved it!! Music that everyone can enjoy from Queen, to Disney songs, to broadway show tunes. The food is yummy too!! We all enjoyed our salads, pizzas, spaghetti and meatballs, and chocolate ice cream. Definitely must check this out if you are in the area!!

By robnphx3 |

Good food (I had pizza and it was very good) and great entertainment! I went on a Saturday early evening and sat through 3 performances. It was wonderful. For me, it was kind of like a "night of entertainment" or a "night at the opera". Old and contemporary music played, some with CD backup for an added feature. I went with 3 other people and we all had a great time.

By Robert F |

I love pizza and I love pipe organs. What a superb time I had here. The organist had 45 years of experience and was a virtuoso. The organ music filled the room while the organ was located everywhere, in the front wall, in the corners, on the ceiling, along the back wall. It is like having dinner inside an organ. You can see that I have done a lot of reviews. I’ll have to say that this experience rates among the very top in my long experience as a reviewer. The expense of custom building this structure to house this amazing instrument and keeping it in top shape must have been extraordinary. Yet there is no cover charge and the excellent pizza is reasonably priced. Here you have great value for what you receive. For one price you get both a meal and entertainment. Take my advice, don’t miss it. In fact, it is a destination. Make a special trip, add some hours to your voyage, come from far away. Locals bring their out-of-town guests here. Do NOT miss this experience.

Enjoyed visiting this unique restaurant today with our retirement community for lunch and concert. All I can say is WOW!!! Food was delicious and the music entertainment was great. Lew Williams was the organist and he was fantastic. We look forward to going again!!!

By Joe R |

Excellent experience for the whole family! Especially, anyone who appreciates music. Important tip: if you want to really appreciate the music, sit in the upstairs area so your view will not be interrupted by people celebrating birthdays and such on the first floor group tables.
The organists are all highly experienced experts, able to control a multiple of instruments remotely including drums, accordion, xylophone, and dozens more simultaneously.
It is a once in a lifetime experience, to be sure.

I was told about this place while getting my haircut this past week, and knew I had to visit it. The setup is pretty simple. You enter, wait in line to order, order your drink separately, and sit down. There's a large number board in the dining hall, when your number lights, go grab your food! The best part, at least in my eyes, was when the organist started playing. This restaurant has the LARGEST Wurlitzer organ in the world. It has all the whoops and whistles (no pun intended). The instrument had 15 ranks, or sets of pipes. The instrument has been totally rebuilt, and enlarged the organ to 23 ranks for its debut in the new Mesa Organ Stop. The food is good and fresh, the staff very friendly and helpful, making this a fun, unique dining experience. If you're in the Phoenix area, be sure to visit!

Lew Williams was the Organist the night I was there. He played a wide variety of music ranging from yesterday's hits, today's hits, classical, and movie soundtracks. All with no sheet music! Requests are taken, so choose one, and see if it gets played!

By Dianne K |

This is a great venue to take children. The pizza is great! It can be a little intimidating the first time there as the place holds a lot of people. So, someone in your party get in the order line, someone goes to scout for a table. If the place is full, just wait unti the entertainment finishes the set, once he/her disappeares the place empties out fairly quick. Pick your table, yes even if it’s dirty they will come clean it, have a seat, wait for your number to come up to claim your pizza, and enjoy the show! It is a cash only venue and they have cash machines in the lobby.

By CZY4JAO |

Pizza is pretty good for a place that serves 200 at supper time. The organ itself is worth the visit. Read the online description. The organists can play about anything you might request from Phantom to the military and patriotic songs and the variety of instruments is amazing. We stayed for a second musical segment after our pizza and will go again next time we're in the area.

By Marty V |

Sure, its a little cheesy (pun intended), but all in all a fun way to spend dinner and a night. The place itself is a little outdated, but the music keeps it hopping, the organist plays current stuff and does requests. Poor fella must be sick of playing happy birthday for all the groups that come in to celebrate. Pizza itself was good, not great, but thats OK. The ambience more than makes up for it!

By MwalimuT |

We heard about this place and came to experience the organ, and also eat pizza...but hearing about the organ was the draw. We had a fun experience, and the pizza was remarkably good as well.

By Shirleen Morton |

Unfortunately I didn’t get any pictures but my daughter bit into her pizza and found a wood screw!!! It was very sharp but didn’t hurt her. Thankfully my 3 year old grandson didn’t bite into this!!! We took the pizza snd the screw up to the staff but only got an empty apology. Very disappointed in the food as well but the organ was incredible!

By Michelle A |

What a fun experience especially when they play the songs you request. Our kids took us and our grandchildren really enjoyed the music. Pizza was ok and the salad was fine. The ice cream was tasty. The beer was watered down and the wine was just mediocre. However the entertainment was certainly worth the money.

By averyfamily3 |

Still as wonderful and enjoyable as ever before. The music, food, and the energy it was just fantastic, hubby and I will be back many more times to come.

By Shawna C |

We had fun at this venue, but I consider the food THE WORST with very limited selections and pizza that is not very good quality. So you go for the music and the music is definitely a fun experience!

By Taina G |

The organist was amazing! You can request any song and he will play it. The pizza and appetizers we got were good too.

By Rob M |

Ordered a large half pepp and half pineapple and bacon. Received jalapenos. Not even close. Not too busy since it's getting warmer here in Arizona. Price was about $16. Free entertainment as many classic songs are played.

By goldfieldguss |

Our extended family went here for a early evening out and what fun. I have had better pizza but the pizza is good. The cool part is the pipe organ and all the different things it can do. Just walking around and looking at how it works is amazing.

By czmdivenut |

Decent pizza with a nice crisp crust and a very talented organist banging away on the Wurlitzer. Special effects are a bit over the top but kids enjoy it.

By derinzyj |

This is an incredible place. Decent pizza, but the organ musician is incredible. It seems he can play anything, and the organ itself in unbelievable. I recommend a stop for pizza dinner if you are ever in this area.

By Amber L |

We come here regularly and it never disappoints. The seating can be a little hard to find, but if you go before it gets too busy around 4-5 you should be ok. We always have the vegetarian pizza, which has lots of toppings and tastes good, could use a little more seasoning but otherwise very good. The experience is like no other, there are usually far to many kids as parents seem to think a one year old child is going to enjoy this, leave your kids at home unless they are older it tends to spoil the atmosphere for the rest of us. Overall a must see when your in Mesa, too bad they don't have more of these around. Cash only, but no big deal just make sure you hit the ATM before your visit.

By stevelind7 |

Good pizza, seating was interesting, we went with a large group 50+ had our oun show time because we packed out the place. Been here 10 time over the Lat few years and will return for many re

By Shanell G |

Entertainment and good food. You don't have to compromise on the food, with fun entertainment here. Pizza is delicious. Good crust, toppings, and salad bar. Plenty of seating for the whole family. Large and small groups easily accommodated. Always fun trying to come up with something for the organist to play. Pretty magical with the amazing organ that you can see from all over the dining room.

By Judith S |

The Organ Stop Pizza restaurant has been a place to go since we moved to Arizona in 1973.... a giant pipe organ is the main attraction plus wonderful pizzas and other Italian goodies. You sit on picnic-like benches and enjoy the foot stomping sounds of the pipe organ playing songs you actually know the words to! A great place for people of all ages! Many birthday parties are held there!

By Silverback |

Talk about entertaining!! the Wurlitzer is one complicated piece of musical engineering that a joy to behold and hear - I would pay to just watch and listen... the pizza is pretty good - I compare it to papa murphys's only you didn't have to bake it yourself. The ice cream is great and I love the European style seating. Has a great family atmosphere and decent beer at a reasonable price. I cannot emphasize enough just how entertaining and magical it was. Go and be entertained!!

By tonip961 |

This was a bucket stop place that I missed the first time we visited Phoenix area. I'm so glad we went this time. The pizza is really good, but the real gem of this place is the organ/music/show. Go early and get a good spot to sit, this place is really popular with people of all ages. They Do Not Take Credit so bring your cash.

By Stevewebbx |

this place is amazing.
Great food
Great entertainment
highly recommend
Will go here again if we are in mesa again.

By Travel212366 |

Organ pizza has wonderful pizza and great music. Very entertaining. Fun had by all. The organist is very talented and takes requests.

By Herbie B |

Fun, entertaining environment with great pizza. Very reasonably priced. We will definitely return the next time we are in the area.

By Mac S |

Very popular spot. Went on a Tuesday night and arrived just before 7pm which turned out to be too early. The parking lot was jammed and very few seats were vacant. Turns out the organist takes a 15 minute break around 7 and then many people leave.

The pizza was better than I anticipated and with a couple of small bottles of wine the medium sized three topping meal was just over $30, which is a good deal given there is no admission cost.

I suggest going upstairs as there are chairs with backs as opposed to benches and the view is better.

By CPAMOM8686 |

This was such an enjoyable experience. The organ master is amazing. How can he play all those songs and coordinate the other instruments? CASH only accepted. While the food quality is okay, you go here for the amazement and entertainment value.

By Katie_H87 |

I absolutely loved this place!!!! If it wasn’t for my antsy children I could have sat here all night. The pizza wasn’t amazing but the entertainment was world class!!! If I’m ever back in the Phoenix area this will be at the top of my list!!!

By Tom D |

Just a step in the door and already catching the music--an in-progress medley of old Queen classics, being played on the biggest pipe organ system I've ever seen. Whatever you eat, you'll be seated in the indoor pavilion, on picnic tables. There, your eyes can't help but be drawn to the ostentatious organ and the musically gifted organist running the keys. But more, the mechanical wizardry of wind and pressure dominates the space. Glass-fronted windows feature golden, castellated pipes, with bellows squeezing and louvers flexing. It's a sight, by God, and the music bumps and sweeps the room and bubbles float down from the double-story ceiling, as little children chase them and the pizza satisfies. So unique and over-the-top is this venue that a little goes a long way. But Organ Stop Pizza is definitely worth a visit, even if just once, though you'll probably circle back sometime for the singularity of it all.

By derinzyj |

This place is cool. The pizzas are decent, but the show stopper is the organ. The artist who plays it is amazing, and he does requests. Very entertaining and well worth a visit if you are in the area.

By MedicinemanAZ |

A family fun destination or just a place to go for some extra entertainment with your pizza. Been around a long time because it is fun & different.

By Guylaine P |

Neat place to have supper. I enjoyed the pizza, it wasn't the best I have ever had but took the leftovers home for lunch the next day!

By Chico C |

This is a must see for the organ and all the accessories. Really something to see and hear. Don’t just go for the pizza because you will be disappointed. The pizza was just okay. Be ready to search for a place to sit to eat and enjoy the entertainment. We looked for a good 15-20 minutes before we found a place for 3 of us to sit. To me this was a crazy setup. People sat for a long time after eating just to listen to the organ. Recommend this place, but plan to spend time just looking for a place to sit.

By Arlene |

While wintering in Mesa, we heard of Organ Stop Pizza. We brought 2 adult male friends and had a very enjoyable time. The people sitting next to us have been coming for years when they pass through Mesa. They pointed out many moving parts….. 100 they said all run by the largest Wurlitzer Organ in the World!!! You can make requests for songs…… many turned into sing-a-longs!!!
This would be great For families…… kids of ALL ages!!
We each got an individual pizza….and salad bar (they provide and insist you wear a plastic glove while serving yourself at the salad bar). There’s beer, wine & soda! Oh and hand dipped ice cream.
Very reasonably priced!!!

By kpsellshomes |

Great show and food. All kids should see it. Very busy from 5-7. Going later makes it easier to get a seat. Only take cash or check. NO CREDIT

By Hansi |

It is always nice to come to this place. Especially if one has visitors and they have never been there. The entertainment is fun and lively. The Pizza is, well, it’s OK but not outstanding. You are better of to go there with another couple or couples but not with a large group. Large groups are dealt with, well, as a group, it gets pushy and social distancing is very difficult at best.
A nice and entertaining experience anytime. Different organists play on different days.

By MBTravel |

Quick shout out to the folks at Organ Stop Pizza. This is a very unique dining experience where one can enjoy reasonably good pizza paired with a wide selection of very entertaining music played on an amazing Wurlitzer Theatre Organ. This time of year the place is very busy so allow yourself some extra time as waits can be a bit long. Seating is tight and at tables shared by other diners. Be sure and walk around the seating area, both on the main floor and upstairs to really get a good look at everything that goes into this massive instrument. Everywhere you look there are pipes, percussion, horns, animation etc, so it is quite a site to see and experience. This isn't fine dining, it is a dining experience that is worthy of the "excellent" rating.

By Roberta G |

We were there for dinner and music. The pizza was good but the organ music was fantastic! I can't say enough about the entertainment. He was wonderful and we absolutely enjoyed the evening.

By charlesmS5310JN |

Okay, you came for the Organ Music, but the pizza is actually quite good. I had their combination and was surprised at it's taste. Prices are not bad. House wine is $4.25/glass. They only take cash, but have an atm machine there. Each set is 45 minutes with a 15 minute intermission, They take requests.

By Diana C |

We had pizza and some drinks and really enjoyed the organ. He played amazing grace to bohemian rapacity.
About $75 USD for 5 adults not bad.

By Kinikkii |

Organ Stop is a fun place for families. It provides old-school, fun entertainment for people of all ages. The pizza is okay. but it's the music that draws folks into the restaurant. The organ player recognizes special days such as birthdays, anniversaries, etc. The salad bar includes basic offerings and one can visit the ice cream counter to satisfy that sweet tooth. Beverages include beer, soda, and lemonade. Luckily we had cash on hand, they do not accept credit cards.

By Travelingbuffal0 |

Went here for my birthday. Got a pizza - pretty good, but the real reason to go here is for the Amazing show! Watching the organ come up out of the basement is a real show-stopper. And the music is great! The organist takes requests and is really good at his job. Fun! Fun! Fun! Would Definitely go again, and we haven't felt that way about many places here. People have said the food is expensive, but the meal comes with entertainment and so I think it's a great value.

By stacyplymouth |

Chris the manager was great. My son has severe food allergies. He made his food safe and good. I brought friends that have never been to Az and they loved it.
Yasmine the beverage staff was so kind what a wonderful young woman.
We will be back

By Terri H |

The organ is very amazing and something you will never see anywhere else - largest organ in the world but it just doesn't capture the attention of a child that long. Older adults love it. Problem is the food is way overpriced, help yourself kind of deal and I would say even worse than Chuck E Cheese. It is geared to kids. I really don't think you'd ever go twice but once to see the organ is pretty amazing.

By KerryAnn M |

Good food, good seating East slow because you’ll want to stay to listen! I found the bellows impressive, so many moving parts to maintain.

By To infinity and beyond |

My family just HAD to show us this place, so we went, and we weren’t disappointed. The Wurlitzer organ was amazing! So cool! Very entertaining for all ages. The organist, Charlie, did an excellent job and played many songs from all eras. There’s something for everyone. The food wasn’t great, but wasn’t bad for the price either. I’d definitely say this is a fun, must see while in Mesa.

I have been going to this place since I was a child. I remember when they were located in Tempe when I was young. This place is located in Mesa now. I absolutely love their pizza- it is so good! My favorite pizza is the Ham and Pineapple but all of the pizza is great. Wonderful atmosphere and fantastic entertainment! This is a MUST stop if you are visiting from out of town. It is known for having many visitors from out of state. You'll love it!

If you're looking for a unique activity in the Phoenix area, make plans to have dinner at Organ Stop Pizza. The reason that you should visit is the Mighty Wurlitzer Pipe Organ. Before you go, think about what songs you'd like to request. The highlight for me was when the organist played Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor. He played a variety of other songs, including Moon River, Piano Man, Under the Sea, Amazing Grace, a patriotic medley, and many others during the 45 minute set.

I wasn't expecting much in the way of food, but our pizza was very good. My husband and I shared a medium (12 inch), and it was perfect for the two of us. The cost was reasonable too.

We arrived right before opening (check the website for hours, since they vary depending on the season), and there was already a line. My husband wondered if you needed to be accompanied by a child in order to get in, but we noticed other groups of adults. Food is ordered at a counter, and drinks at a separate counter. You're given a number, and it flashes on a screen when your order is ready. Since we were one of the first to enter, we got prime seats in the balcony, directly in front of the organ. Be aware that the music doesn't begin until a half hour after opening. It was chilly inside, so you may want to bring a sweater or jacket.

Some how to me Organ Music and Pizza just do not go hand n hand but let me tell you it works at this place. The Pizza was outstanding and the Wurlitzer Pipe Organ Music was amazing!! Such a unique and fun place. They have the ordering and pickup process so organized. I thourghly enjoyed myself. Will definitely go again if in the area!!

Must SEE! Not to be Missed!

its clearly a passion project by the owners. I've never seen anything like it.

By onlyleigh |

This is a place if you like pizza and live organ music. They even take requests. They have a salad bar, ice cream bar and pizza with some Italian dishes as well. We went on St. Patrick's day with a party of four. The pizza was great, but the music was fantastic! I love this place.

By awatts |

We went on a busy Friday night. The line moved quickly, though, as there were multiple cashiers to help. Seating with a view of the entertainment was a challenge during this time. People were racing to find seats and would move in before a table spot was fully vacated by the prior occupants. We sat in the back of the balcony but still had a great time listening to the organ player and singing along with many of the songs.

We found the pizza prices quite reasonable and their thin crust pizza delicious. They have a salad bar, spaghetti, lasagna, sundaes, and more. Their are separate lines for ordering food, drinks, and ice cream.

By diane t |

We went early and enjoyed it so much that we stayed until the last song was played. The pizza was great and the beer cold. But the best was the organ player! He took requests all night and played them all well. What a delightful place to go for an evening of entertainment.

By oldsaturn5 |

a pizza restaurant with a fantastic pipe organ played by a master! go in , order you food and drinks, find a seat on the picnic tables, everyone is having fun listening to the pipe organ player.

By GFLT |

Thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment. The pizza was very good. It was ready fairly quickly considering how busy they were when we were there. Fun place for people of all ages.

By Jim R |

This was a surprise find in the Scottsdale area. Great atmosphere for family fun while enjoying pizza. I highly recommend this place!

By gread2016 |

This is most fantastic place to go for dinner. The organ that they play was built in the 1920 s and has numerous tiny instruments attached on walls etc that play along. Look it up on google to get all the info. There are only 4 people who can actually play it and the salads and pizza are great and not expensive. Worth the time.

By KathyAndDennis E |

We had heard about Organ Stop Pizza from friends. I found the picnic style seating funny. The food was okay. The children really enjoyed the show and atmosphere!

By bill f |

The pizza here is good, but the music and organ make the trip completely worth while in my book. This is a fun little evening of music and historical instruments

By M B |

We have been a few times with family and friends. The pizza was ok but the attraction is for the organ and the musician. I have a wide variety of music that I enjoy and I have to admit that the organ is not at the top of my list. This is entertaining in the ability of the musician to play it. If you are open to the idea it is a good place to go, relax and enjoy a good time.

By Jeffrey Koslowski |

We were looking for something a little different as we closed our vacation out. I heard about this place and said why not. This is not a place you go to if you want a pizza masterpiece. It's good but it's nothing that special. The reason you go is for the organ playing. A musician plays requests on a huge organ for the whole restaurant which is shaped more like an amphitheater with cafeteria seating. You'll like it if you want some pizza and something different than any other restaurant.

By skfrmby |

The Organ and all its components are beyond belief.
Great place to take visitors to the area.
Food is okay....

By SuznBren |

The pizza has a southwest flare to it. I had luncheon calzone and it was really thin crust, and packed with italian deli meats, altogether a bit salty.

By Laura L |

This was truly a fun afternoon with a group of people from a 55+ rv park we were staying in. The pizza was very good. The entertainment was fantastic! Just seeing the complexity of the building and its musical setup was a treat in itself!

By Linda F |

This is an absolute must to see! First of all the Pizza is the BEST I have ever had- ever!! Beautiful crust , pizza very tasty and not salty( we had a ham/pineapple as well as a combination. Awesome service - fast and the staff are efficient and pleasant. The crowning glory of this place however lies in that massive historical 6000 pipe ( worlds largest) Wurlitzer pipe organ played by very talented musicians. Not an ordinary spectacle! The whole room has a 43 foot ceiling with percussions, xylophones, accordion and a myriad of other instruments being added to the pieces being played. Amazing and mind boggling!!

By Michael D |

Great food. Awesome atmosphere and entertainment. Make sure you go early cause it is so good, it is always crazy busy.

By Bob C |

If you’re looking for a fun place to go with great food and entertainment then don’t miss going to Organ Stop Pizza. They have one of the worlds largest organs and they play most of the songs by request. While enjoying the great music you’ll also be enjoying some great food and drinks. Stop in you won’t be disappointed.

By rksheranian |

The "Mighty Wurlitzer" organ is obviously the reason people (including us) come to this place. It is a magnificent instrument, exceptionally well presented with programmed lighting and a talented performer. That being said, the pizza was perhaps the worst we have ever eaten. Hard, stale, with minimal toppings. Salad bar was sad. Also, be forewarned that they take cash only, no credit cards. Since it seems that they don't monitor the seating area, the suggestions from others that you have dinner somewhere else and then come here to enjoy the performances seems reasonable.

By Gayla S |

Our Arizona family took me and my husband to this place after the baptism of a great granddaughter. It was nothing like I had ever imagined! This place is huge - noisy - and delightful! Definitely not a place to go to if you want to converse with anyone you haven’t seen in a while, but the organ music is outstanding! He played some oldies but goodies. He played some movie themes. He announced birthdays and played the happy birthday song. The place was loaded with families of every size and number! They have a salad bar and delicious pizza.

By Greg L |

"Home of the Mighty Wurlitzer", Organ Stop Pizza houses the world's largest indoor pipe organ. Oh, and as the name implies, they serve pizza too. The Organ Stop Pizza parlor is a local "must see." It caters to people of all ages from anywhere in the world. The organ is the center of attention, literally, and is quite the grand spectacle. Raising and lowering from an orchestra pit, the organ even rotates. Music of all genres are expertly performed from memory. This is extremely impressive. Organ Stop offers custom-made pizza, an appreciable salad bar, bar selections, and an ice cream station. Each station is separate so be prepared to stand in multiple lines, however, each one moves quickly. Traffic flow can become a bit hectic during busier times. Tables are family-style and fill in quickly. There is usually a change of seating during the organist breaks. The food is good and a good value but remember to bring plenty of cash as the restaurant does NOT accept credit cards. I'd like to have a share of the ATM service fees on-site. Overall, the Organ Stop pizza parlor appeals to everyone and is a definite memory maker. When in the Valley of the Sun, be sure to stop at Organ Stop Pizza. You'll be glad you did. See you tomorrow.

By JAMES B T |

This was an excellent place to spend a few hours! The organ is facinating and the entertainment was great! The all you can eat pizza was very good. It just kept coming and was hot!

By Jeanne A |

My husband and I visited about 15 years ago. Thrilled this interesting landmark is still top quality and the music is still awesome. A very unique restaurant. We’re not fans of the pizza, being from New York City - but we are in the minority. There is a nice variety of alternatives: salad bar, pasta, sandwiches and ice cream. Wait staff is friendly and efficient.

By Chris3391 |

Amazing experience, it was a stop on our 15 tour of the west. We did not expect what we got. Amazing place. Massive Organ and the gentle playing was amazing the whole time. Pizza was ok and I dont understand why it would be cash only but overall, I loved the whole experience and cant wait for our next visit.

By IndyMillers |

This was our first visit to Organ Stop Pizza. The draw is the music and the man that plays the organ. He was excellent! The organ was huge and fun to watch when he played. He had lights and puppets (not for every song) that enhanced the performance. He took requests for songs and was funny and engaging with the crowd. We went on a Tuesday night. It was busy, but we found a seat easily. The organ was loud when he was playing so it was difficult to talk to each other during the songs.

The food was marginal and the atmosphere could use some updating. The desserts were the best part. I would highly recommend a sundae!

By MyPrairieGirl |

We've been here every year since we started going to AZ about 10 years ago. The pizza has went from 'ok' to 'really good' in my opinion and it's not overly priced for what you get either.
The organist and music are very entertaining. It's best to visit on a week night and earlier in the evening rather than later as the lines can get really long.
This restaurant has a gift shop as well that has unique items it in to make the trip extra special.
It's fun for all ages. You can request music for the organist to play as well so come with some good ideas.

By Dianne M |

Great pizza buffet. Many varieties to choose from. Nice salad to go with meal. Organ music is not too loud and allows you to also enjoy your company. We love this place. Have gone many times both to lunch buffet with a group and in the evening with friends. We highly recommend this location for great pizza and wonderful entertainment. The organ player takes requests. Must see if you are in Mesa. Don’t miss it!

By Mrmiller8 |

Cool place! Fun place to go for a smile, once, maybe twice. Also good place to take out of town visitors. Pizza is pretty good too! Crispy, fresh veggies. Nice helping of toppings. Took forever to get pizza thought. To be fair it was BZ.

By Mic B |

We went with a group so they special opened for us for lunch.
Pizzas and salads are fine but it's the show with the Wurlitzer that is the huge draw. Not many more around. Was delightful and informative

By Jazz Gumbo |

What a wonderful and fun idea, all the foods are excellent and the staff both friendly and efficient, clearly the entertainment from the organ was the icing on the cake. Such a relaxed and friendly place to go, just fun all the time you are there. If you have the opportunity to visit - do so, you wont be disappointed.

By ckmv |

We had a great time listening to a huge variety of music from Disney to Bohemian Rhapsody. Highly recommend (the food was great also).

By Wandering Medic |

Arrive 10 minutes early as the lines already form.

It used to be a theater and the concession/food set up is similar. Upon entering you order food and are given a “ticket” for your order.
A Bingo-like board lights up in the main area to let you know your order is ready.
Along the bar and further down you will see signage indicating order pick up, drink ordering and so forth. To your right will be ground floor seating. Balcony seating is also available. However due to safety railings your view will be somewhat obstructed while seated and eating. Dress ranges from dress to sweats for some.
You can request songs to be played by the Organist.
Gluten-free Crust Options were available.
When you’re done leave your plates where they are. Staff will bus them.

• 3 stars for food (flavor was lacking for me personally)

• 5 for Entertainment & Originality.

Worth the trip.

By Marsha R |

While the actual pizza is not one of the best in town it is acceptable and the music is quite enjoyable. I would recommend this for a family visit.

By bjlinWI |

Visiting friends in Florence, they said they had a surprise for us for the evening meal. What a surprise it was! Opened at 4, we were in line at 3:45!! And it was a pretty long line! But once they opened it moved fast. You order then go find a place to sit until your number comes up on the board then you go get your food. Known for their pizza, they do have other options. But the surprise... a big, and I mean big Wurlitzer theater organ comes up through the floor on stage. And the guy can play! And he takes requests. Just a neat experience, family friendly and pretty good food.

By Tom G |

This place is amazing, great organ music combined with visual affects. The organist played my 2 requests, one of them was bohemian rhapsody. All kinds of music played including hymns, patriotic, oldies, show tunes and classic rock. There were 11 of us in our group and we sang and danced with the music. Went on a weeknight and wasnt thst full.

By Mdetraveler |

Super place to bring friends and relatives. Pizza is very good, not great, the ice cream is excellent, but the biggest draw is the entertainment. Great music that everyone young or old will enjoy played on one of the largest concert organs in the world.

By kenaR3335XH |

A must visit for out of town visiting friends!
Fast ordering plus wine and beer but perfect for old seniors or young children and historical learning of a huge pipe organ with music for everyone! Great for birthdays too!
I have been there 6 times and always good!

By Les4Jan |

Good Pizza, Fantastic entertainment at this family-oriented pizza that boasts a HUGE theater style pipe organ with hundreds (if not thousands) of pipes ranging in size from minuscule to gargantuan. The organists on staff can make the entiremenfef building rock! If out-of-Townes are visiting, it’s a wonderful venue for showing-off the city of Mesa. Highly Recommend place to entertain your visitors!

By Ldawg3 |

Always and entertaining experience with fantastic organ music. Pizza is good but other items on the menu are great also. The style of organ music changes with the player of the day. If you have not been then it needs to be on your list.

By Mary H |

This place is one of the happiest places to eat pizza and be with family and friends for a fun time. The organ is boasts the largest number of pipes and the entire place lights up showing the instruments being used--cymbals, drums, flutes, etc. You need to let go and enjoy this evening with music and pizza. Warning: long lines begin before doors open especially when "snow birds" are in town.

By Charles G |

Certainly the pizza was ok but it's not the main attraction. The music is. It's an adventure and kinda fun. We got a large Hawaiian and medium SPM. They were ok but as I said far from the best pizza. The crust is a major pizza foundation and this was the weakest part of the pizza. Don't stay away come anyway.

By Jay B |

Excellent music, and great pizza and ice cream for a CASH-ONLY dining experience of a lifetime. Easy access location and abundant parking make this a must-see in the Mesa AZ area.

By mojomo |

I can’t recall how I ran across this restaurant online.

We were visiting AZ from TX on Spring Break and taking a weekend trip from Phoenix to Tucson.

I may have looked up places to stop/eat en route.

So on our way back from Tucson we plugged in the address on our GPS.

We were a bit leery as we walked in, at first thinking this might be a big buffet. At the same time happy they were open despite growing Coronavirus concerns.

I knew the draw was the huge Wurlitzer theater organ, but the fun part for me was my husband and daughter had no clue.

So after some debate of should we stay or should we go. We stayed. The girl working the order counter was not much help. We were newbies and she could tell. Welding her “I know hoe this all works and you don’t power” over us. I’ll forgive her because she was young and this must feel like a really big deal to her.

So after ordering our pizza, which by the way, can only be paid for with cash or check/no credit card & there is a conveniently located ATM machine in the building, we ordered the large Hawaiian Delight.

The girl rattled off the order being ready when your number appeared above the stairs. And you get your drinks around the corner.

All of this was so vague, we could have almost given up.

You get your drinks at a separate station. Let me clarify. You go around the corner and have to place your drink order completely separately from the pizza. Despite the fact that the girl was too lazy to explain this, when I said we’d like a couple of drinks as we ordered our pizza. So there was quite a bit of confusion because we walked over and picked up cups and looked for a drink dispenser. And we were confused because we thought we’d already paid for our drinks.

Thankfully the drink guy was very cheerful despite my irritation and explained the system to us. So we bought a drink.

Let me tell you, there was plenty here to normally make me say forget it (starting with no credit card) & skip the whole thing. Including still not understanding where our order number would be displayed. I don’t think we ever figured that out.

As we’d walked up to the place, there were smokers out front, dousing there cigarettes on top of a trash can. Not the most appealing crowd.

So a word to management, You may have a “foreign visitor” from out of state coming in for the first time. Train your staff to recognize this and show a little more compassion. Everyone is looking for a pleasant experience with their family.

The pizza is not out of this world. It was tasty, but nothing memorable.

The draw here is the organ being played. I am rating this average based on the service and the food. The Grand Wurlitzer makes the place. Otherwise I would give it a much lower rating. The pizza was okay, but the ordering process, if you are a newbie was confusing.

They should not rest on their laurels, although I can see how the Wurlitzer alone draws people in.

The crowd/audience was interesting. I liked the whole shared table concept. I’ll give an A+ for
unique. Outstanding really, based on the show/organ playing. The sheer size of it. The
dramatic lighting.

Low marks for the person who took our order & made us struggle to figure it all out.

We did not let her kill the experience entirely, but she came pretty close.

The Wurlitzer saved the night. But I am not sure we will come back based on all the rest. Again, something management might keep in mind.

A fellow diner enthusiastically told me about the organ coming all the way from Germany. He said the place was kind of a secret. So maybe that explained it all. More of a “locals only” kind of place.

By Mandi C |

What a fun place to eat! Great salad bar, they have Pepsi!!!!!, Ice cream, the organist is phenomenal, and we had a great time! So fun! The pizza and fried zucchini sticks were yummy. Love their ranch dressing! Water isn't filtered but the pop tasted fine. It is loud, but what do you expect?! He does take breaks from playing so you can get some visiting in. Loved our visit!

By Lily30301 |

This is a fun place. The pizza is very good plus it is so entertaining to watch the show and listen to the music. This is a great place to take out of town guests.

By BrendaLC2016 |

The theater pipe organ is phenomenal. It was great entertainment, with a lot of sound and visual variety. We could have listened to and watched the organist play for hours. It’s not the place to go for a quiet, romantic evening, but that’s not how it’s advertised.

We thought it would be a one-trick pony, with the music being the main draw. The pizza was excellent.

By janc19472017 |

This was a fun place to take relatives from out of town. The organ music was something you don't usually see at a pizza place.

By SunSeaker |

A must visit at least once a season! Young or old you will love this extra special place. Surprised every city does not have a Organ Stop Pizza. Pizza is yummy and to see family smiling and enjoying such great music is such a pleasure!

By Jeff P |

While visiting the Mesa area friends had invited us to the Organ Stop Restaurant. Said it was a must thing to see while visiting Mesa. I could not believe the amount of people lined up at 3:30 opening. While looking like mass confusion when entering the building we discovered a very well organized staff waiting for us. Very friendly staff that moved the crowd thru fast. Our pizza was awesome plus you could order other food such as spaghetti and lasagna plus they had a salad bar. The musical entertainment was top notch. Gentleman playing a old Wurlitzer organ plus managing many side instruments was very entertaining. Very glad stopped at Organ Stop Pizza

By Dave H |

Everybody needs to do this at least once. Such a fascinating array of organ stops, i.e. "whistles and bells." Pizza is decent too.

By Christy G |

Pizza is nothing to get excited about, not terrible but also not good. The entertainment is AMAZING. We had good timing and arrived when a show was on intermission so we were able to order food and find a place to sit. It is very busy. Kids enjoyed the show, the baby was in love with the performance. Good way to spend an hour.

By Connie L |

The organ was amazing but VERY loud. The food was acceptable but not great. They do not accept credit cards. Fun place to take guests/tourists

By 762haroldw |

They have the world's largest Wurlitzer Pipe Organ. They play in the evenings starting I believe at 6:00 pm. The pizza is good the beer is ice cold and is great. But the music is fabulous. He played one Irish song in the bag pipes mode, nothing but fabulous. This is the first time we have been there, but it will not be the last. On a Monday night they had a good crowd. But don't let the full parking lot scare you, they have lots of seating and who cares when you get your food if you are listing to great music. They use a numbering system, so you can sit down and just watch the electronic board for your number. But time goes quickly with the music.

By Eva S |

My family took me here when I visited from Wisconsin and what a delight. The pizza is delicious and many kinds to choose from but the real joy came from the playing of the huge pipe organ. Fabulous music and such a wonder to watch. Everyone should experience this. I was here in April 2019.

By Catherine L |

Unique experience, in a good way. We were all blown away by the music and the showmanship. You definitely don't want to miss it.

By Darrell R |

Great entertainment with good food. I have been there before and I will go there again. I have never been dissatisfied.

By BooBooBandaid |

Crispy crunchy everything pizza combo is the best!! Thin crusted w yummy toppings!! Cheese, veggies, pepperoni , ham & sausage with black olives. The crunchiest in the valley. Served w/in about 15-20 min of order!! We had a large for 2 people- too much & will get a medium next time for 2 people. Try the hand-packed ice cream for dessert 🍨 very, very good...
Handicap access clean and family oriented. Great organist knows all the moldy oldies but he played some new modern stuff too...Great entertainment and good food too...

By Sweetie0012 |

Every time I visit this place I am amazed by the talent of the organ player! He can play anything you request- from Disney songs to Michael Jackson and anything in between. The pizza and ice cream are really good too, but I could sit and listen to the organ player for hours! I would recommend visiting on a weekday if possible because it gets really busy on the weekends and the tables are first come first served (you order at the counter and then find a table). We have never had an issue finding an open table but it can sometimes be hard to get a table with a good view on the weekends.

By Constance E |

Our resort attended to listen to music and enjoy several varieties of pizza from hawaiian, supreme, thin crust, cheese italian sausage and pepperoni. more sauce and cheese could have been added. go for the music.

By J D |

This is one of the must-dos in Mesa area ... Unique performance in unique environment on one-of-a-kind organ. Excellent show(s), Excellent pizza, excellent ice cream deserts.

By BonnieS980 |

An experience like no other, and good pizza too! We were with a large, organized group - and we had a great time! I would rate the pizza as average, as it was buffet style fare for our outing, but what an entertaining place, and very decent price.

By Questovia |

A must do if you are in the area. It's not about the food here, although the pizza is pretty good, but it is definitely all about the organ and the incredible show! How fun!

By Wolfgang R |

Very good pizza and a great sounding organ. Covered a whole variety of tunes from Bach to Queen. A very cool experience

By Sarah B |

The music and atmosphere are amazing the pizza is real good. Just don't order soup at 8:00 pm because it may not ever arrive. We were there in April, ordered soup for a guest that couldn't ear due to dental surgery, explained this to the cashier and when our pizza came. NO soup, they had dumped it out before 8:15. Not good for business.

By stonefinder1 |

What a great place for a family to eat pizza and have fun, listening to the biggest Wurlitzer organ in the US, Check on you tube for many songs, but you have to see this in person

By Jeremy Z |

Was the pizza just average? Yes. But was the experience unforgettable? Absolutely. As someone who plays piano and organ myself I was amazed by the talent of the organist and all the things he was doing simultaneously. We had to wait about a half hour for our pizza to be prepared, but that didn't matter, either. It's all about the show. Wow!

By Jamie K |

We went here on a suggestion by our concierge. Wish we would've gotten there sooner!! We could've sat for hours watching this! Great for all ages! Pizza was really delicious also! Can't believe they don't charge a fee for this other than buying some food! We definitely tipped the organist because he was just plain amazing. I didn't even think to take any photos because I was so entertained here.

By johnmorton2018 |

I visited here with a group of kids on a field trip. It was pretty amazing especially how the organ player comes out of the floor on a moving stage. The organ player tailored the music to the audience. Very talented and engaged organ player and visually stunning.

By AzGirl85120 |

Where can you go and order pizza, hoagies, pasta or salads and get a free show with absolutely no cover charge? Prices are sooo reasonable. Cash only. You order and go find a seat at family type tables. Then wait till your # shows up to tell you your food is ready.

The $1,000,000 Wurlitzer is A M A Z I N G and the organists are so talented. You make requests or just enjoy the fantastic show. Only cash and only open for evenings. 5:00

Great for families.

By Dave W |

Listening to this old organ play is so enjoyable, what a magnificent piece of equipment. It gets a bit crowded as you can imagine, but it makes for an enjoyable visit with family and friends.

By Dave H |

I haven't seen a Theater Organ/Pizza place for 40 years and that one was in Grand Rapids. It was not an incredible as Organ Stop Pizza. This is a must see. If you don't like pizza, just have the salad bar - it was huge and full of great choices. But the pizza was great - Amazingly good for a decent price. But when the organ came out - lifted high on a moving turret, you can't hardly chew you are so amazed. You'll want to sing along to music by Queen and Phantom of the Opera and Mama Mia and so much more. There are so many things to watch you forget to eat your pizza. But the pizza is surprisingly great. This is not like Chucky Cheese where the pizza is mediocre but the kids are there for other reasons so it doesn't matter. This is very good pizza. We had two medium pizzas for 6 of us and had pizza left over. But this is such a massive Organ with so many pipes and special effect features. All operated by the organist. You have to go here. Just do it.

By Rebecca B |

I was told about this restaurant and that I had to go if in AZ. We went on Saturday night about 5:30 and it wasn't too busy. You walk into the counter to order your food and then pay with cash. We got a medium pizza with 4 meat toppings for $17.80. You then go to the bar to order your drinks, individual drinks are $2.75 (no refills) but a pitcher is $5.50, so it's cheaper for you to get a pitcher of soda. Now for the icing on the pizza, you get to hear the most amazing entertainment while you eat. There are 4 organist that play the largest Wurlitzer in the WORLD and it takes 3 massive blowers to provide the air that is needed to play all of the instruments. I was in awe about the gentleman playing such a variety of music hitting all ages of the audience from toddlers to the elderly. It was a great concert with a very good tasting pizza, I'd definitely go and eat here again.

By abrentc2018 |

This was an interesting place. Food was good. Only problem is don’t go if you expect to visit with others the organ is too loud to carry on a conversation. We enjoyed the atmosphere and food but would have waste of the noise level

By Lorette L |

The visit is very entertaining and worth including in any trip to Mesa. The Wurlitzer Organ is fantastic, and well played by a professional. With a full array of instruments playing all around the room are fascinating. The food is good, and reasonably priced. Everyone needs to go at least once.

By goldentraveler2015 |

We love to hear and watch the delightful musical show that is offered at the Organ Stop pizza. The organ and organist come up out of the floor playing fantastic music. During the show the different instruments that the organ is playing are featured with a spotlight on them. Besides the show being so good, the pizza is great! We also enjoyed a huge dish and cone of very tasty ice cream after our pizza. And we ate the whole pizza and the huge dish of ice cream!!

By Chuck L |

Oh my gosh! Where to start! This place has a large dining room filled with community tables, all of which are facing and focused on the front and center. There is a huge Wurlitzer organ with not only pipes, but dozens of smaller musical instruments controlled by the organ. There are 3 different organists who rotate through a schedule. Diners can request songs for the organist to play and the whole crowd gets into it. People are smiling and happy and kids are dancing in the aisles. The pizza and salad wasn't bad either. They also have ice cream.

By marshell2016 |

This was our first visit. A popular place given the long line. The night's performance introduced thru an informative pamphlet. The pizza okay, thin crust. The drinks ordered at a separate station. $$

By Leslie J |

We visited Organ Stop Pizza in late February with friends who live in the area. It's obviously extremely popular with a line out the door, however, the line went fairly quickly and we ordered and found a table without too much difficulty. Great tables are tougher to get but the organ turns to you can see some of the action. There is a big board overhead and your number lights up when your pizza/order is ready. The pizza was pretty good. Service is ok, seemed like they were a bit overwhelmed. Crowded and very large amount of sensory input even when the organist is taking a break.

What a fun night. Great service and food. The entertainment was great. Will go back for sure. Loved it. Went with friends

By Dan I |

It is a very large pizza place with many special effects and other remotely controlled instruments, not just an organ player. The organ player was proficient in what he did do, but did not play a variety of music genres at my stay.

By 312vernam |

They have THE BEST Pizza around. And the organ music is beyond words. Outstanding in every way. Highly recommend taking out of town guests there. Pizza is reasonable and the entertainment is free. Everyone that we've taken in the past 24 years have loved the place.

By Emeric S |

The Pizzas are good, but the highlight is the organ that raises, and the variety of musical instruments that accompany the organ. Be aware, the seating is extended picnic table style, and it's all self-serve.

By GaryAlberta |

I have been going to Organ Stop since back where it was in the old location. Anytime I am in Mesa I be sure and attend and bring friends with me. What a unique musical experience. Friendly staff and great food.

By Brad E |

The pizza is much improved since my last visit,5 years ago. But we all know it's the music that brings you in. Always impressive and top notch players. It's a don't miss place!!! Remember to take cash, no checks or credit cards. Well worth the visit.

By Sassenach0908 |

Best experience ever, the organist can play practically everything from memory and they take requests. The food is pretty good. 10/10 would recommend. Must be a bit of a child a heart

By Dean3839 |

The organ is amazing! When it comes up out of the stage you will not be disappointed. There are so many moving parts it takes 30 minutes to see them up close. I was told it is a 5 million dollar organ. Also the pizza and desert are pretty good too.

By wallybee43 |

We were here last year for lunch with a reserved group. This visit was in the evening and it was obvious that they were pushing people through as fast as possible. Once we ordered, we easily found an empty table, but we were disappointed that no one ever came to clear the old dishes away any time during our visit. The organist seemed to play for not much more than 20 minutes and there was no explanation of the organ as was given the last time. When the organist did speak over the PA system his voice was not inteligble. Very disapointing! The thin crust pizza was very good! I recommend going with a reserved lunch group!

By Lynda B |

I went here about a year ago - it was so much fun - we had a blast! I was so surprised at the expertise and talent of this organ player - and the show was spectacular! If you get a chance, don't miss this >>>>>> and the pizza is delicious and priced just right!

By Stephen D |

Pizza connoisseurs beware if you're going here to sample the pizza, you're going for the wrong reason. To be blunt, it's very similar to Little Caesar's but for double the price anyway. Your experience here is all about the Wurlitzer or more accurately who is the one playing on any given evening. I've been here multiple times and the enjoyment hinges on the organist. While all of them will play those "all time favorite" movie themes and other typically mundane material, I have been there on occasions where the person will not just look at the requests but actually play them. It becomes a real let down when these suggestions are summarily ignored like the last time our party of six visited. I'm not sure why this practice is followed by some yet ignored by others but it does make a significant difference on the entertainment scale.

By Beth F |

Very busy place but so much fun!! It may take a while to soak in everything you are hearing and seeing as different parts of the instrument are activated at different times. The organist was amazing and so talented! Definitely left us wanting to come back!

By rstonbrass |

If you are anywhere near Mesa, Arizona the Organ Stop Pizza is a must experience institution! The organ performances offer a world class musicianship and the programing is diverse as well as entertaining! FACT: If eating good pizza doesn't generally your trigger, the music will. I'll bet in this atmosphere you will love both and all!!!

By harv2u |

Largest Wurlitzer in the world. Nearly 6000 pipes. It is like watching a dinner show while you eat your pizza. No cover charge! You will be impressed! The food is not bad, but everyone goes for the show!

By Edward P |

Have to Go Here at Least ONCE. The pizza is OK. The pipe organ music is GREAT entertainment. Plan to go early or after 6 PM to avoid long lines. Seating is at loooong tables with up to 20 other people. During 4:30 to 6 PM it is a very hectic place. BUT, everyone should go here at least one time.

By mmrange |

Our family and kids loved it! The music was amazing. The pizza was so so, but it is totally worth going.

By Andrea L |

Glenn Tallar was our organist for the evening. Our group of 9 thought we would stop in for a slice and be on our way.

We stayed for 2 hours and enjoyed every minute. Glenn took requests and dazzled the audience with his dancing fingers and tapping toes on the pedals. The amount of training to achieve such greatness in your craft is impressive for such a young man.

By MARKYWG |

Incredibly over rated. Long lines. Cash only? Zero assistance finding a table and when you do, just try and find an employee that will clear it for you. As for the food...yuck. I’ve had better tasting frozen pizza and the spaghetti and meatballs were awful too.

The organist is delightful but not worth the dining disappointment. Do yourself a favour and pass on the tourist trap.

By Karen H |

The food here is very so so but the entertainment is excellent. I'd stick with the salad bar or just a very plain pizza.

By cihyaz |

The Pizza is good to great. The show is the primary reason to stop. The show is fantastic. Even though you may not be an organ fancier, you should spend some time and watch the show. When its hot outside the Organ Stop Pizza is a great place to stop

By Fin Y |

If you are traveling close to Mesa, this is great place to stop. The organists take requests, and usually there are birthday requests each hour. The playing starts a half hour after opening and continues for 45 minutes, then a 15 minute break. This continues. Pizza is fine, but you are here for the organ. Make sure to bring cash as they do not take credit cards. There is an atm in the lobby. There is also a salad bar that includes basic offerings and an ice cream counter. Beverages include beer, soda, lemonade and self serve water.

By boymomdfw |

This was a fun place to eat! I went to a similar place in dfw as a child. So I wanted to see this! I really enjoyed the music and the pizza and salad bar were decent! Good time if you want to hear some good music!

By Jan C |

Our host recommended this place to us and we were so glad he did. The pizza was good but the show was so much fun for our entire family...from 7 o 78! We almost went back the next night!

By _Jessica88R |

A must do!! Very cool and fun to watch!! Adults and kids will enjoy!! The pizza was really good!! Will go back!!

By sharon37762 |

We went along with a group of 10 for supper around 6:00 on a Friday. It was very full and loud. WE eventually got a table upstairs where we could not see the organ player and his entertaiment. The entertainment is very good, if you haven't been there, try and get seated downstairs. The pizza is good and they have a small salad bar as well. It can be very loud in there when it is full.

By Cooper |

Who knew that pizza & a prized Wurlitzer organ would make such a great combination !! This is a fun place to take your kids or go with a group of friends, or simply with your significant other. The pizza is absolutely delicious, and the Organ music with visual enhancements (you'll see what I mean) is pretty spectacular. The patrons get involved, and often you'll find yourself singing a song or 2 along with the music. Its a great atmosphere.
So you're not surprised upon arrival: Prices are reasonable and Cash is king, no credit or debit. The order line is long and you'll be standing outside, so send someone in to find seats. Once your order is placed and you know your #, head to your table & watch the board as they'll post your # when food is ready. Then simply enjoy the show, the organ will be up soon.

By traveltowisconsin |

What a unique and fun experience. We went back a second time unfortunately the organist didn't mention that time to not do anything disruptive to other people and the people at our table talked for the entire 45 minute performance. The pizza is good and under $20.00 for a medium size! The organ playing was fantastic and worth seeing.

By Pauli G |

Pizza you can get anywhere. But pizza with an organ concert that is wired for sound? Found only one place... Organ Stop Pizza. If you're looking for an odd night out, this is the place. But be prepared for the fact the food is not great. We had GF pizza and the crust was soggy. Salad bar was decent, though. The restaurant was very noisy with kids running in the aisles. It felt a bit like a circus. The organ and all the corresponding electronics were the highlight. So go once and order drinks to experience the theatrics, but eat somewhere else.

By Linda G |

I honestly do not understand the hype. I felt like I was back at my grandmother's house in the '70's watching Lawrence Welk and attending a freak show at the same time. The pizza was HORRIBLE!!! It wasn't fully cooked.

By RainedOnInRedmond |

Really fun. The food was good, and they had great gluten-free pizza. But the real attraction is the organ and other instruments (e.g. percussion) along with the light show. All kinds of popular tunes (Star Wars, Disney, Queen, etc.), lights, and more. After several songs there is a break where you can talk, get more food/drinks, etc.

A great, immersive experience. Would definitely go again.

By Barb in an RV |

What an amazing organist plays now! He can play all songs, and without any sheet music! The working pipes display across the back & side walls is a mind blower. The amount of pipes & their variety of sounds is a jaw dropper. OK pizza and nice salad bar. We brought our Minnesota visitors and they were wowed. The organist plays 45 minutes and takes a 15 minute break. Yes, he played both our requests!

By matthewabel |

I wrote a review already - this place is worth it! Easily our most fun meal in the area. See my review as restaurant for more.

By BobA X |

Wonderful place to eat pizza while listening to a giant organ being played by wonderful staff. Amazing organ. 2nd floor seating provides better viewing. Go here once a year for sure, taking visitors with who enjoy the experience.

By Perede4 |

This place is SO FUN. If you’re into a different pace of dinner, and a great show. This is a super good choice. The Pizza is good. Don’t see one you like? make it up. They will. Music and lights and laughter. Yep it’s pretty boisterous at times. But the organ alone is BOSS and the staff are all really great, personal and attentive.

By lisa |

This place was amazing! We are a music family and we enjoyed watching the organist. He is very talented and is much more than an organist…. He controls various instruments throughout the room; all from the seat of the organ. The staff is very accommodating and helped us to understand the flow of things as first time visitors. The pizza was amazing!!!! They are very COVID aware. They selected our seats for us to ensure that social distancing protocols have been followed. They provide gloves for the salad bar and have sanitizer set up throughout the restaurant. We are in Arizona visiting our son and can’t wait till we fly back out… we will FOR SURE eat here again!!!

By Dawn F |

We have been to this restaurant before so it wasn't a surprise that the entertainment would be there. The surprise was how good the pizza was. The crust was crispy and just the right amount of toppings. Be prepared because they only take cash.

By Joyce E |

Wow! What a surprise! This place is so much fun for literally all ages. The music is incredible. The pizza is fantastic! It's not surprising to see many stay well after their meal is done. No worries, though it holds up to 700 people. Bring cash, they don't take cards. I HIGHLY recommend this place!

By Charles F |

This place has been here forever, has salad bar and the food 🥘 is good . If you have young kids it’s is a great place, night we where there a marching band came in for dinner. Place is big and the music and the huge organ are really something to see and hear. Fun

By Zukpr |

Here is the bottom line right up front. Before you visit, go to your bank ATM and get cash! They do not accept any plastic here (debit or credit) so save yourself the frustration of standing in the long line to place your order, and then finding out you will need to pay in cash, and you don't have any, or enough. Kind of hard to believe, especially for a business of this size, and in this age....but yeah, get your cash ahead of time. 2nd thing we didn't know, or expect, this place get's crazy busy, so pre-plan your trip to OSP. We didn't, and so when we got there, (5 PM on a Wednesday) the line was out the door all the way to the curb. By the time we got inside, ordered, paid, and looked for seats, there basically were none left. We finally snagged some seats on the second floor, but were seated at the very back end of a long table. So we had no views of the organist who sits in the center, or much of the organ itself which was very disappointing, as that is what you really come there to see....obviously, not for the very average/generic pizza and salad bar.

By Barbara m |

This was my first time there and we did enjoy ourselves but a little goes a long way. If you have young children then this is the place for the family to see and enjoy. The organist rises out of the floor about the tables and it's quite loud. There is no talking when he's playing. We were a group if 28 senior adults and our seats were benches which is not good for older adults and we were packed in back to back. Once in, there was no getting out which was inconvenient. They do have tables off to the side and upstairs that have chairs which would have been better for our group. The pizza was good with a good crust. Fun to listen for a short time.

By D7453ARcharlesp |

Usually when you go to a place for entertainment the food is so so. Not Organ Stop pizza. The pizza is delicious and the salads are fresh.

By Jan_Nelson_Surprise |

What a delightful experience. It has been at the same location and still a "top attraction". You have a choice of seating - downstairs center in like picnic tables, chairs with backs and tables on the sides, and second floor seating. You find our seating, then order your pizza and your order number is posted when ready. The organ plays about 30 minutes music with items from a variety of genres from Disney o opera. Then you can get your ice cream. A DELIGHTFUL EPERIENCE!!

By Linda G |

Wonderful experience! This place is huge! The pizza is quite good. Prices are reasonable and the organist was fantastic! Really great music and light show! Don't miss this!

By 4TRVLS |

The organ is huge with pipes all round the perimeter of the two story room. Pizz was fine, but the organ is the star.

By Stell M |

This place not only has excellent pizza, and other food if you are interested! But the music is amazing and you can request any song that you want and they will do there best to play it in a very intertaining way!

By SueColeman45 |

When we were visiting the area we made a point of visiting (had seen an article online) and this place is amazing if a bit of a shock to system. We didn’t really know what to do but everyone was helpful and it was a great experience both for food and entertainment - if you are in the area you must visit!

By AzUhl |

This is a great place to take anyone from out of town. The organ is amazing, it is an old Wurlitzer Pipe organ worth about $4 million and all of the artist playing it are excellent. If you are visiting for a nice romantic dining option, skip this place, its not for you. Lots of people, its been filled each and every time we have been there, loud amazing organ music that will get your head bobbing, hands clapping and singing along.

If you are lucky enough to be around for one of their special performances, by all means go then, if you are not, go anyway. You will be amazed.

By Delphine Becker |

the atmosphere and organ music is awesome. beer is good. Pizza so, so. would try something else on menu next time.

By Bettiann P |

The pizza is Great! Picnic table type seat in allows you to meet others. The organ music is terrific. We enjoy watching the crumbles, drums etc.

By BethL4 |

Great place to stop and eat. The Pizza was great and the entertainment was amazing. I enjoyed it and my elderly mom enjoyed it even more. We will be back anytime we visit the area. The Organist WAS incredible, with multiple sections played. I would recommend this to anyone.

By AdventureFamMN |

Wonderful fun for all ages! Reservations are only for groups of 50 and more. Recommend having someone look for seating while the other waits in the food line. Packed house all of the time.

By Walksy22 |

Hard to compare this place to anywhere I've ever been before. A huge dining area that seats hundreds all focussed in on a man playing a huge organ that rotates and goes up & down. The back wall is a series of pipes & parts that generate the sound I'm guessing ?? Kind of strange but the pizza is good and the portions for the spaghetti & lasagna are very big.

By BobKathy |

There are very few theatre organs around but this is one of them. Charlie Balogh was the organist the evening we were there with friends. He is a superb organist, show-casing all the features of this incredible organ. We stayed long after finishing our pizza (which was quite good) to hear him play.

By Anne H |

We just stopped in here quickly to see the organ and eat dessert! The place was packed!! The music was great and it was fun to see it!

By Rob M |

Went on a Friday early evening and ordered a large pepp pizza which was good. Salad bar has a little of everything. Seemed to play more adult music than children music. Overall cool to see once.

By yooperann |

I wasn't really prepared for this. I knew it was organ music and pizza and I knew it was cash only. But when I pulled into the parking lot at 4:20 on a Saturday afternoon, knowing it had just opened at 4:00, I couldn't believe that the lot was so full. I looked around to see if there was some other business nearby that all those people were visiting, but nope, it was just Organ Pizza.

When we found a spot in the back lot and went inside we saw what the issue was. Capacity 505! It wasn't at capacity--we had no problem finding a seat (though not one with a great view)--but it was a crowd.

The system is very efficient. A man helping himself to the salad bar explained that we just needed to go find a seat after we'd ordered and then look for our number flashing on the big board to go claim our pizza. So that's what we did, ending up with seats at the end of one of the long tables in the balcony.

The pizza was perfectly edible and for $17 and change we had enough for the three of us plus a couple of pieces to take home. The salad bar and ice cream were also very popular, though my crowd decided against both.

The reason people crowd this place, of course, is for the music. And what a spectacle it is. The revolving organ, the multicolored lights, the flag coming down from the ceiling, and music booming from pipes all over the building. I adored it. My companions, neither of whom enjoy crowds or loud noise were not quite as enthusiastic. But they were happy to indulge me.

Next time I'd leave the introverts at home and get there early enough to line up before it opened so I could get a front seat. And I'd try the salad bar. And I'd be happy.

By Gerald T |

I love this place. First went in January of 2024 twice while I was in the area. Then went twice more in January of 2025. Great pizza and even greater music. Got there when they opened and left when they closed. A GREAT experience. Hope to return again. Wish there was something like this in Ohio!!

By Gail B |

Pretty darn decent pizza and a good salad bar. Lots of space. Really cool instruments throughout. I really enjoyed the organ player. Of course our grandchildren enjoyed themselves a lot.

By Implumber |

Great Pizza but the show is the best around, the Organ is huge. The Artist that played the Wurlitzer is very talented and plays a verity of music. Great Show!!!!

By Thomas M |

Organ Stop Pizza is a venue with great food and the largest Wurlitzer pipe organ in the world. The ceilings are about forty feet and the sound level fills the room. Our usual meal cost for the two of us is about twenty-five dollars. We have enjoyed the Lasagna and Garlic Bread, Sub Sandwiches, Garlic Bread w/ Cheese and the Salad Bar. The organ is played by a variety of organists; our favorites are Lew Williams and Charlie Balogh. We have bought several CDs to listen on our drives across the country. I wore one of their T-Shirts to Graceland last year and received many comments on the tours there. There is an ATM in the lobby, no credit cards are accepted.

By Paul S |

While visiting Mesa, our family took us here for the pizza and a show. The entertainment was outstanding. Charlie was an incredible showman and performer. The pizzas were very good. We had a variety of pizzas and all were very tasty. We want to come back and try the pasta another time. The Wurlitzer organ is an awesome instrument and all of the percussion, chimes, lights, bells and whistles are a wonder to watch and listen to.

By BritAbroadHere |

Enjoyable entertainment. Very busy during the Fall & Spring when Snow Birds are in the valley. Average pizza. Go for the organ entertainment, it is very unususla and enjoyable for all ages.

By Fearlessbutter |

I can definitely say it’s a different experience! You line up and place your order before entering the dining area. The menu is pretty limited, salads would be about the only vegetarian or Keto option. The dining area consists of picnic table style open seating downstairs with additional seating upstairs. A bingo style light up board shows when your order number is ready & go get your own food again. The food alone is pretty basic, fine, but not spectacular. Then, out of the stage floor, rises the organ player. It’s actually interesting to see he’s actually controlling drums & cymbals & things around the arena in addition to the organ- which has massive pipes behind glass as the backdrop. He will play requests & some have little light themes etc with them. Would I go every time I was in Mesa, no but it was definitely something different.

By Rotsiefan |

I learned about Organ Stop Pizza when I happened to thumb through an Arizona guidebook when I was browsing in a Barnes & Noble before our vacation. What's this about a pizza restaurant that has a guy playing a HUGE Wurlitzer pipe organ...for FREE? Count me in!

We saw an excellent performance of "Oz!" by the East Valley Children's Theatre group earlier in the afternoon at the Mesa Arts Center. Afterward, we drove a few minutes across town to this very unique pizza restaurant and quickly grabbed a table along the railing upstairs (which I think offers a much better view than watching downstairs).

The pizza? Not great, but not bad. Just average. But in fairness, you don't come for the pizza...you come to hear the mighty pipe organ. On the positive side, the prices for food in this restaurant are quite reasonable. This makes Organ Stop Pizza a family-friendly option and many younger children were in the restaurant (some having birthday parties).

The organ/organist? OUTSTANDING!!! We were fortunate to have Charlie Balogh (who hails from Trenton, NJ!) playing for us on the day of our visit. He played a nice handful of songs from Disney movies (e.g., "Under The Sea" from The Little Mermaid, "Let It Go" from Frozen, and "Be Our Guest" AND the theme song from Beauty and the Beast.). He played the Star Wars theme, "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" and many other recognizable songs. My absolute favorite song, however, was "Play That Funky Music" (the Wild Cherry tune)...it was CRAZY to hear such a funky song being played by this baseball game-sounding organ!!!

As others mentioned, there were separate lines for ordering food and drinks. I didn't think this was a big inconvenience and the lines for either were NOT terribly long (maybe a 5 minute wait when we got there around 5:00?). In a way it makes sense to have separate lines because for people who only need drink refills, there's no need to wait on the food line. Again, it really wasn't an issue for us.

The organist apparently plays multiple sets during the course of the evening. I think the first set lasted a little under an hour, he took a short (20 minutes?) break and came back and played for about another hour. We left after the second set with pleasant memories of a unique pizza establishment. Definitely worth a visit if you are visiting in the area, and if I were a local, I'm sure I'd stop often at Organ Stop Pizza.

By auntarlene13 |

This is a fun place to take friends for a fun night of pizza and signing old time tunes to a organ being played. If you want you can also enjoy a beer or glass of wine.

By Rain M |

Love the entertainment not so much the food. Pizza, salad bar, beer, sodas, and even ice cream. They have lots of room even an upstairs but you have to carry your pizza up the stairs.

All ages will enjoy the range of music played by the organist.

By TwoGalsGo |

Big group of us descended on Organ Stop Pizza and we were not only fed but entertained. As others have said, the huge four manual console Wurlitzer organ rises majestically mid lights and fanfare from it’s nearly 6,000 pipes. Charlie Baloch, a true professional, chose and rendered songs that the folks around us joined in singing. Definitely all about the organ but the crispy thin crust pizza was delicious.

By AroundtheWorld |

We met two other couples here and sat for a few hours. We came early and could find a good spot to sit and watch the show. The pizza was good, but I have had better. Still, it is more than passable and the show is fantastic! I loved the selection of music and the organist was really good.

By Rob M |

Went on a Thursday evening. Somewhat busy. You have to check in before coming inside and social distancing is in place. Ordered 2 medium pizzas, 3 salads and 3 drinks. Total price $48. Fun atmosphere for all ages.

By Joshua H |

My family visited OSP for the first time and had mixed feelings about the place. We ordered 2 gluten-free and 1 regular pizzas. When we picked up our pizzas we received our regular and 1 gluten-free. The 2nd gluten-free pizza had been dropped by an employee but they managed to salvage 3 slices. They assured us that they were making another gluten-free pizza for us. After waiting for another 30+ minutes, we asked if our pizza was ready. We were told it was in the oven and would be out shortly. Unfortunately, as that pizza came out of the oven it was given to another customer. At this point, we had been at OSP for over an hour and we had other engagements that evening we needed to attend so we didn't have any more time to wait.

The staff was nice and gave us a coupon for a free pizza for next time but we were still quite disappointed that we never got our pizza. I would have thought that when an employee makes a mistake-like dropping a customer's pizza-a new one would be made immediately. Instead, our pizza was put in the back of the line to be made.

We plan to try OSP one more time-need to use our coupon-so we hope to have a better experience next time.

Overall, the pizzas we did receive were great, the music was fun and the atmosphere was very lively!

By Micheal E |

Great place. The pipe organ was fun to watch. Pretty good pizza, not the best I've ever had, but not the worst either.

By ARTJPL |

Come here for the excellent entertainment and see the multiple organs in the restaurant. The organ player does take requests and does their best to accommodate. There was a queue of diners waiting outside the venue by 2:50pm to catch the first show but plenty of tables/seats so you wouldn’t feel crowded. I would visit again for the chance to hear different requests. On the day, we heard The Sound of Music medley, Star Wars, Under the Sea and more!

By mnlakecouple |

Good pizza, fun music, very entertaining show. My husband thought it would be hokey, but ended up admitting it was fun. Tons of instruments, lights, tricks, and they take requests from audience.

By Kathleen F |

When our hosts asked if we wanted to go here, their caveat was that the pizza wasn't very good, but the organ was fun. Well we ordered a pizza anyway-- Onions, mushrooms, fresh tomato, bacon.Thin crust. Bubbles on the ends. It wasn't Paggliacci, but we found it rather tasty, and the fried appetizer combo was good, as well.
People mostly come to see the organ player, and what a show he put on. Drums, xylaphones, pipes galore, a connected piano, and puppets all joined the organ music. He played many songs in sets-- old, new, musicals, kids songs, as well as sing-a-longs to beloved music such as Happy Birthday, Under the Sea, and Bohemian Rhapsody. Since I'm a music lover, and the place is a music lover's paradise, we shut the place down.
To be honest, I could have stayed all night.
Tips: Seats are hard to come by, even on a Tuesday. If a group of seats on the picnic table row opens up, grab them, but do it politely, for strangers may be your seatmates for a while and can really add to the fun.

By Catherine J |

Very Overpriced mediocre pizza, organ playing was interesting but not to justify the prices. Save your money and go have a nice dinner elsewhere

By Cathy C |

You hear the rich full musical strains the moment you walk in the door....it's booming patriotic songs or tunes the kids love or pieces from Phantom of the Opera or Alley Cats, complete with dancing cat puppets! Sometimes the bubbles are dropping from the ceiling as if Lawrence Well were in the house...or the U.S. flag if flying or don't ball is sparkling. The songs are requested by the audience and the organist never reads music...they play by memory! Off in one corner, the organist can make the chicken peep, the grand or player pianos play, the drums set the beat! It's a cornucopia of musical instruments controlled by the stops on the massive organ. Yes, the pizza is good...thin crust. There are other choices and a salad bar which friends have tried & liked. But my fav is the sea salt caramel ice cream for dessert. It's a delightful experience in so many ways. Be aware that seating is on picnic benches in case hopping over one would be a challenge for any of your party. But they could manage an end seat, I would think.

By Kismutt |

Thought the music experience was well done, was fun to watch , but didn't enjoy the pizza very much, very fast food .

By AndreJ |

Visitor to Arizona. This is A MUST stop if you are in the Scottsdale Phoenix area. Great atmosphere. The music is SO unique and awesome. Pizza and battered mushrooms were very good and reasonable priced. 🇨🇦

By Saskfamily10 |

We stayed for 2 sets, and ate delicious pizza with a crisp crust! I am pretty sure the crowd’s song requests were not taken into account, since I doubt people requested marching songs and loonie tunes, but it was still an impressive sound and light performance. The combo pizza was lovely, as mentioned, but the combo appetizer plate (deep fried mushrooms, zucchini, and mozzarella sticks) was very boring and we left 1/2 of it.

By annel875 |

LOVE THIS PLACE! Great pizza to eat while you enjoy a variety of organ music on a very souped up Wurlitzer organ! Wonderful atmosphere. Such an enjoyable evening we had!

By Robert W |

The pizza was really good and NOT overpriced. When you throw in the free entertainment, it simply makes this a MUST VISIT. We loved this place and will go again when we are back in that area.

By AZsunsetlover |

This is a must-do for visitors and residents alike. The music is great, the atmosphere is fun and great pizza to go along with all of that! We visited in February for the first time after hearing about it for years. Plan to spend some time there and enjoy. A unique, fun experience (and they do the cooking!). Thank you!

By Jessica M |

We met some people earlier in the day that suggested we try this place for dinner. Neat concept you order your pizza, drinks, beer and watch on a bingo board for when your order is ready. Tables are set up cafeteria style to fit in the most people and the organist plays most disney classics on an impressive wall of organs, and closed off the night with some hits from Queen. Cool experience. One thing to note its a very "Christian" family place which kind of took us by surprise. All in all would recommend.

It's a good place food is decent and reasonably priced. Good live entertainment lots of flashy likes and sounds to keep the kids occupied

A group of us went to Organ Stop Pizza and had a great time. My 17 year old daughter thought it was great! The Organist is top notch! The Pizza was also very good. Truly a must, if your in the Phoenix and surrounding area.

Sort of amusement park, sort of budget pizza parlor. Pizza is not bad but the organ music and wild flashing
Lights are hilarious. Music from "Phantom of the Opera" made my meal. PS the organist takes requests

By Layn N |

Fun, unique experience! If I lived here, this would be where I took all visitors. And the pizza is fair priced.

Looking for good pizza with some great authentic organ music...a must visit. We visit here two to three times a year and enjoy every visit. Bring cash as they so not accept credit cards.

By Paula J |

LOVE this place and love introducing friends and family to the great food especially pizza and the wonderful music. Its the go to place when we have out of towners come to visit us. Everyone of all ages love the music played on the famous organ and the organists keep up with popular tunes as well as the older tunes an they play a raft of Disney tunes for the young and young at heart.

Had friends join us for Pizza and Organ Music! Charlie Balogh is our favorite organ player!! Be sure to arrive early as the lines get long... Lots of pizza/pasta/salad choices - enjoyable evening & meal. Remember - CASH only!

We have been to Organ Stop many times- it's always our number 1 stop whenever we come to the Phoenix area, and it's such a great way to start a happy vacation here. They make wonderful pizza- some of the best anywhere- but the real focus is the extraordinary theatre organ and the great organists who seem to know every song and show tune ever written, and who make your heart sing as they play. You can stay as long as you want and enjoy great pizza, pasta, salad bar and ice cream, and soak up some of the greatest music in the world. We can't wait to return to Organ Stop!!!

My teens said it was the best thing they visited in Arizona! It was so unusual, and the organ player played all the pop favorites. He was amazing to watch, and it was a great multi-media experience, with lights and much more.
We laughed, danced, ate and had a really good time!

We went with a group for brunch to the Organ Stop. The salad was super crisp and good. Then the organist and Whirlitzer Organ came up from below to the stage level. This organ has 6000 pipes and a multitude of other instruments, such as drums, pianos and many percussion pieces. The sound is over powering. He played several tunes and took requests, but he played the Chatenooga Cho Cho was the best the best number with all of the sound effects. The pizza buffet was announced. They had four different pizzas and they were all cut in very small pieces. But this was OK as one could stack em high and go back for seconds. This is a must do when you are in the Phoenix area.

This is a fun place if you like ok pizza and music. I like that you can request music to be played on the house organ. It's a fun time.

By Terry T |

Don't let all the negative reviews fool you. These are miserable people with nothing good to say about anything.
The pizza is average. But the atmosphere more than makes up for it. I've not gone without the crowd having an absolutely wonderful time. People singing. Kids dancing.
You won't find another place like this in Arizona, and probably the entire United States.
So, ignore the Nancy's on here and try it out. You won't be disappointed!!

This was hands down the one thing we will recommend to all family or friends visiting the Phoenix area. Old or young, it is a show for everyone. Our kids (2 and 4) loved it so much we made two visits! We heard music from Star Wars, Queen, Little Mermaid, hymns, patriotic songs, Hallelujah, In the Mood, and more and you can submit requests! The food is decent, we only had pizza but it was pretty tasty. You place your order at the counter and then watch for your number to light up on the Bingo style board and go to retrieve your food. Don't worry if you can't find a place to sit, wait for the organ set to finish and table turnover will happen fairly quickly.

Nice novelty restaurant featuring the world's only Wurlitzer organ of its kind. Other than the uniqueness there is little to attract--- pizza is so so & wine is cheap quality. But that's not the reason to visit--- good as a one time outing

By ksufan88 |

We arrived on Friday night around 5:30 PM and there was a short line that went just outside the door. However, it only took about 10 minutes to get our food ordered and then some of us found seats on the balcony near the stage while the rest ordered drinks at a 2nd counter. We enjoyed listening to the talented organist while we waited for our food to be prepared. They have a large lighted board near the ceiling that displays the food order numbers that are ready for pickup. Fortunately, our food was ready during a 15 minute break between organ performances when the lights were turned up so we could easily see the food we were eating. The pizza was very good and everyone enjoyed themselves. A few in our group followed up pizza with some ice cream that looked very good.

Went with family after high school graduation.Great place a lot of space. Pizza was pretty good. Would be good for any type of celebration.

By frozencanadian_9 |

Great place to visit, at least once! The organ player will take requests and yes, he did play "Phantom of the Opera" which was a highlight. The pizza is average, but seriously, you are there for the show :)
Sit upstairs for the best view!

Good pizza and great music. This is a must visit place in Mesa. You can even request a song or two
We stayed for 1.5 hours.

By trubrit7 |

Our friends (local residents) took us here, but did not tell us what it would be. When we walked into the main part of the restaurant it was an amazing surprise to see the huge organ. Who ever thought of pairing organ music and pizza? The organist was very good and we really enjoyed listening to the music selection. The thing that I didn't like was that there were just long tables with benches (it reminded me of a high school cafeteria), it was very crowded and quite messy everywhere (the bus boys/girls couldn't keep up with the cleaning). The pizza was OK, but still worth it for the exceptional entertainment.

After reading reviews I thought this was be a fun place to bring my family and parents for supper. The process was a little unknown walking in and became even more confusing the more we got in the door. You start by ordering pizza, you pay (cash no credit), they hand you a ticket and send you on your way. You have no idea what is next we wandered around and found a worker to see about seating. They said that person was on break but go find a spot. Ok we thought and went upstairs to find the seating to be like a cafeteria. Very crowded and once in a spot there was no getting out. You then go back down to buy drinks at a different spot, they hand them on a tray so you can haul that back to your table. I then had to ask a guy sitting near us how I get my pizza, turns out a large board hangs on the wall that lights the numbers up when done. You go get the pizza , plates and anything else you need. The organ was very unique. That part was nice but the majority of the people were elder and seemed to be very rude. Not very kid friendly with the people all walking different directions, like a school hallway! The pizza was very good but it was pure chaos!

By Chrisrowe1 |

At first when I walked in, it was a little confusing. Very large place, quickly find your table. We walked in 1/2 way through the first set of organ playing which is why seating was very limited.once the first set was over, people cleared out and it was okay. Great fun to watch and listen to, food was just okay. Try to time your arrival between sets to make seating easier. Long rows of bench tables. I would go back, kids loved it.

Great luncheon for the Greenfield Village Resort volunteers! Our activities director, Heidi, and general manager, Mary, organized. We had a super meal with salad, four types of pizza, soft drinks and cake. Organ Stop staff were super! Food was great! Pizza is really good! A great place for outstanding music and food. The luncheon with a group is great as the organist, Glenn Tallar, tells the history and workings of the Wurlitzer organ. Well done Organ Stop our second time this year! We will be back!

By JimNColleyville_TX |

The loud organ music greeting our young grandchildren when we entered was a shock to two of them. Once they heard quieter music from "Frozen" and other themes they settled down and enjoyed all the surroundings while we marveled at the organ and organists repertoire. Pizza is good as were the spaghetti and meatballs.
There is no table service. You order pizza, salad, drinks or ice cream and then must carry it yourself to your table. If seated upstairs and you have many items this can be a challenge. Also note they do not accept credit cards so have cash to cover your meal.

By Kenneth B |

We love going to Organ Stop Pizza. The entertainment and atmosphere is wonderful. The food is good and priced well. This is a cash only establishment. There is an ATM on site.

By _Wise_Traveler_5555 |

We thoroughly enjoyed the show, while we waited for pizza. This organ has an amazing sound and the venue has good acoustics. The organist dazzled us with Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor. (It is a showy piece that demonstrates his skills and the quality of his instrument. Then he launched in to popular American songs in a clever arrangement. Definitely check this place out!

By Jeff S |

Face it, this is something everyone has to do when you visit the Phoenix area. For many, it also becomes something you want to do EVERY TIME you visit. You will only know which kind of person you are after your first visit. It is so weird and wonderful that something like this even exists in the world. None of the reviews really capture the experience, because words cannot describe the experience. The closest I can come would be going out drinking with Weird Al Yankovich and his 16 grandchildren to a Chuckie Cheese Kareoke bar where the audience gets to pick the songs which are played on a auditorium sized one man band. Perfect!!!

By Voyager O |

Charming venue with decent pizza and a very fun and different experience with a live organist. It has the world's largest Wurlitzer theater pipe organ on a rotating hydraulic platform. Family-oriented atmosphere and courteous employees. We would definitely return.

By Joanne S |

This was our 1st visit. My husband and I arrived at 4:45 and the line was out the door. You order and pay first. Once we discovered this, I took off and tried to secure a table. Nothing was available with a view of the organ — get there before 4:00 or after 6:30 or even later.

The pizza wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but I don’t think people go there for the food. The organ is a 1925 Wurlitzer that has been added to over the years. It’s got over 6000 pipes (!) and the organist can make it sound like many, many different instruments. The organists must know a zillion songs because they take requests and get to them quickly. Our organist played show tunes, military tunes, old standards and classical. His Star Wars arrangement was fabulous. It sounded just like you where in the theatre watching one of the movies.

We’ll definitely go back, but will get there much earlier so we can see the action.

I give the food 3 stars, but the entertainment gets a 10!

By Karen A |

We enjoyed our time with the combination of music pizza and our visit. People told us they often took guests to this restaurant. We found it different as we looked at the number of seniors struggling with all the self serve but did enjoy it ourselves. The company has people CLEANING and organizing all the time and we liked our pizzas.

By LvnWMS |

Fun place! So interesting to watch the musician play! Pizza is okay. Not over the top great, but you really are there for the entertainment. It is cash only. They have an atm for your convenience if needed.

By Kenneth M |

Twelve of us met for dinner here and we had a great experience. The choice of food was good. I had Hawaiian Pizza and it very good.

By Michael S |

Organ Stop Pizza is a great place to visit. The pizza is just OK, but the show is GREAT! A large pizza is about $20 and the show is FREE!! See all of the mechanics that make up this show possible. There is the mighty Wurlitzer organ, drums, xylophones, bells, horns, other percussion, and dancing sheep! Great value!

By siivrspur2 |

Pizza excellent, variety of other entrees including salad bar. Entertainment is spectacular, employees are courteous and professional.

By chicagostadium2 |

The organ stop pizza restaurant is the very best place to go for good music and good food in all of Arizona, I have been going there for 12 years, its the best place for the entertainment and food, thanks, Lynn Hein, from Tucson arizona

By Bor0Gurl04 |

I have been coming here a number of times and it is always a delight. The organ players are very talented and can play almost anything! They take requests. It is really neat to watch and a great place to bring family or out of town guests. The pizza is also pretty good and they have fast service. They also have an ice cream bar with a pretty good selection. They have gluten free pizza as well for those that cannot eat gluten.

By Mary H |

Most beautiful Organ played by a extremely talented musician! One of a kind place that you can stay and enjoy for an hour or the entire day! The music included many show tunes and patriotic songs also! Pizza, salad and drinks are also available!

By Lori P |

Absolutely enjoyed ourselves! The food is really good and the gluten free pizza was greatly appreciated due to food allergy. The organ is amazing! The gentleman playing put on an amazing show! Definitely recommend for a family visit.

By Gene V |

The pizza was good. I would recommend just ordering a large salad. The music was unique and my whole family enjoyed it.

By lizjmooney |

This place was incredible. We weren't sure what to expect when we first got there as it had a kind of "Chuck E Cheese" vibe, but the pizza was great (including the gluten free version) and the show was awesome. The organ player took requests and played them all with ease. Definitely recommend!

By abqsage |

We always come to visit Organ Stop whenever we come back to the Phoenix areA- this place is a national treasure! First, their pizza is absolutely the best anywhere. But second, and more importantly, you get and extraordinary theater organ concert by one of the most talented organisms on the world!! The organ rises up magically from below while playing a rousing show tune or familiar melody, and then the organist plays about a 45-minute set of wonderful selections- totally by memory or improvisation- as you are surrounded by extraordinary pipes, drums, bells, horns and lights. It's just magical- and all for the price of a pizza (or lasagna or spaghetti). I wish we lived nearer Arizona so we could come more often.

By ajfp |

The pizza is OK+1, but the main reason to visit Organ Stop is for The Organ it was built around. People come here not realizing that it houses an important piece of FILM history. When we first moved to AZ in 1980, one of the first "attractions" we were introduced to was Organ Stop Pizza. At the time, there were 3 locations, which held 3 incredibly (historically) theatrical organs: These were the organs that provided sound to silent films in 3 Hollywood movie houses that are, today. icons: namely Graumann's Million Dollar+Chinese+Egyptian Theaters. As a history buff, I travel the world to visit the past. I am also a film historian & here is history at my very back door. I can't find which of the 3 organs still plays few miles from my home, but, with my father in mind, I often go to Organ Stop, if only to hear that magnificent piece of history being brought to life - as with the Wanamaker Organ in Philadelphia, long may it play!!

We went there with a group of people .This place is all about the pizza and a super large organ. It is very interesting and a place to see if you are in the mesa area. Pizza was good place was clean.

We go here a lot during our stay in Mesa. Food id great and the Organ and instruments are wonderful. It has a great atmosphere and the price are good. A great family place to go.

By Carol B |

Fantastic music while you eat great pizza. Biggest organ in the country played all kinds of music by talented musicians.

By Traci Smith |

We LOVED this place!!! We went with 4 adults & an 8 year old. The pizza was delicious, the organ player was fantastic & it was BUSY!!!! Get there early (like before it opens) & be prepared to wait, but it’ll be so worth it!!!

By MarilynandGary |

We have enjoyed Organ Stp pizza many times and have never been disappointed! BUT we did not know you can book as a group for lunch and have a wonderful explanation of the history of the restaurant, in particular, the organ and how it works. This was a fascinating experience. The pizza buffet was excellent and the music great! Highly recommend

By gnhermit |

I was a little skeptical about going, but our evening at Organ Stop Pizza was one of the highlights of our visit to the Phoenix area. People of all ages were singing and dancing and just having a great time. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would go back again.

By Sandy J |

I haven't been to the Organ Stop Pizza for three years, but I will never forget my two visits to this must visit place. I loved the music - which was as diverse as it comes. Anyone can write down a favorite song and the organist will play it. Your stomach will be happy and so will your ears and your heart!

By Donald B |

Fun and interesting for whole family e pecially the kids organ rises out of floor an plays many entertaining instruments.

By Zaynab A |

Pizza was not that good
The place just average, music is the best part (piano player and the way piano made)

By Loouis S |

What a place !!! The Pizza is good as well as the ice cream. But the Organ, Wowsers !!! Amazing !!! Wonderful ! A PHX MUST SEE !!

By Shiniesthalo |

We had a great pizza and enjoyed the organ music. It is quite a show place to take visitors. We really enjoyed our evening.

By Eric H |

The one-man-band of organ and other instruments is the best I've ever seen. It is worth the trip to Mesa! The pizza is good, but the experience is unmatched.

By AuMom |

I saw this posted on Trip advisor while visiting Phoenix and had no clue what this was. So glad I looked further into it. My daughter's dream is to play the organ someday. And she loves pizza! Put them together and you get a delicious show full of special effects and wonder. I have never seen anything like this. So much fun!

Every time we are in Arizona, this is on the top of the list of places to visit. Love their pizza and enjoy all of the music and lights.

Found this place on Atlas Obscura, definitely a must.
The pizza is ok, but the entertainment is something everyone should experience at least once. You g and old alike will love it
