4 of 57 Best Attractions in Panama City Beach

Great beach clean water and clean sand. The difficulty is trying to find a parking if you are just passing through.

We loved the beach. It was clean, it wasn't overcrowded, and the water was perfect. The water is so beautiful. We will definitely be coming back.

We loved the balcony overlooking the ocean and beach. Our Room was spacious, probably because it was handicap accessible. While well maintained, parts of this hotel are showing their age. The bathroom had an older plastic tub rather than walk-in shower. One of the mattresses (we had two queen beds) seemed to lean along the side near the nightstand, presumably because hundreds of people have sat on the edge of the bed there. The mattress was still pretty comfortable, but I had to roll up hill to get to the center. The first floor of the hotel is beautiful and the pool/patio area is very nice. Breakfast was terrific and Cheryl (staff) was friendly and efficient. There's a bar, which was a nice touch, but it closed very early so no nightcap after a long day. Parking in the garage is convenient, but costs $20 per night.

Very beautiful beach, but the city itself is very cult-like. There is 0 diversity. If you are a POC, you will feel uncomfortable in a lot of these areas. Pier Park is very nice, but crowded. Options for attractions is limited. There is absolutely no nightlife. Everything closes at 10 or earlier. Weird Jeep culture. Lots of Confederate flags. Never returning.

We rented The Lighthouse from Ben's Beach Homes for 8 days over Christmas 2022. The house was clean, spacious, well appointed, and everything they said it would be. Our family of 20 from ages 7 to 69 loved the home and all of it's amenities. Right on the beach, pool, hot tub, 4.5 bathrooms, a washer and dryer, and so much more. Management was amazing even when we had a problem with frozen water pipes (along with many others in the area) as the temps were lower than the surrounding area had seen in many years. The were very responsive and attentive to us. We highly recommend Ben's Beach Homes and will definitely use them if we rent in PCB again.

Best beach around
Clear water with magnificent sand
Plenty of amazing nearby restaurants and shops.
We keep coming year after year.

Fantastic location. Parking at the mall was nice. Volleyball courts is a plus. Good court at the mall great. Good experience a Buffalo Wings.

The beach and sand was fantastic ..my nieces and grandchildren had a ball. Great family fun..for all

The place is beautiful but they are closing the beach for more than a week, even on beautiful days. Imagine coming here for a week, expending money plus your days and not being able to touch the water. If they can close the beach for so many consecutive days even sunny beautiful days, this is not a good vacation destination

Visited late March through the end of May. Beautiful beaches, friendly people, fun shelling and many opportunities for shopping and restaurants. We may end up moving here!

The sand is the star of the show. It's like walking on sugar. The water was very clear and clean. If there is anything wrong, it's the human slobs that don't pick up after themselves. The beach reminded me of some on the Hawaiian Islands.

The ocean may not cooperate with humans. High winds and unruly surf created rip tides and DOUBLE RED flags that keep everyone out of the ocean. People can not wade in to their knees. No water access. The beach and facilities were great.

We couldn't go in the water because of rip tides. The trip was a bust, but that was mother nature's doing. We were able to use the indoor/outdoor hotel pool. The views were incredible. The gulf breeze was nice too.

The beaches are very pretty! Overall thatâs all I liked about this place. The beaches were always packed, at times so packed everyone looked like sardines in a can. Thereâs not a whole lot in the area to do and what there is to do it is very expensive! The traffic in the area was absolutely horrible no matter what road you would take to get back to your destination. This is definitely just a tourist area nothing more! We did go visit Ponce de Leon springs which is beautiful, this is a must see, took an airboat ride at airboat adventure, this was well worth it and also drove to Miramar beach, which the water is much clearer there but overall I donât care to ever go back.

Don't bother visiting here, especially if you just want to go to the beach!
It's been double red flag for more than a week now, which means you are prohibited from even putting your feet in the water.
We watched as the police gave a guy a $500 ticket for being in the water.
There is very little to do to compensate when you can't go in the ocean.
There are no sidewalks to walk on the main road, and traffic is horrendous on the 2 lane main road.

This is very pretty beach đïž
It has VERY clear waters đ
There are Many shells đ for you and your family to collect
One of the best beaches out there

Great visit with old friends. Wonderful beaches, restaurants, and weather.
Try out pier park and st Andrewsâs

Clean, white sand with emerald water. Not too crowded. Family atmosphere. Security personnel visible.

The sugar white sand beaches of the Gulf Coast are beautiful. The water is warm and the surf is minimal. If this sounds nice to you, PCB is a convenient and reasonably priced destination.

Worst vacation ever we were there in July and had to wear coats all week. Ralned ever day. People kept saying oh its in walking distance sorry five mile is not my distance. Traffic was a night mare. Food was extremely over priced. Beaches were seaweed covered.

Beautiful beach. Stunning white sand. Canât wait to visit again. We saw 4 sharks, 2 stingrays and sea turtles. The water is so blue.

Absolutely had a great week at Panama City Beach. Beautiful white sand beach plus tons of things to see and do to fill the day and evening. Just across the street from the pier is a boardwalk full of shops and restaurants- at the end is a good sized outlet mall for more shopping adventures.

Just beautiful, traveled in early spring, still a little chilly but sunshine, great walks on the beach

The beach this time of the year is beautiful. No seaweed or jellyfish. Lots of fish close to the shore and easy to catch.

The place was beautiful..the beach was nice but a bit wi dy...i had a ocean front view and you could here the ocean at night...during the first week of april it was hard to find a place to stay and it stormed the very next day of being there..i packed up everything and left early..don't plan trip around the first week of april because you will be highly disappointed..worst vacation ever for me đ

This was a nice beach and it wasn't very packed either. The people were friendly and the waters were pretty. I would recommend taking your family here.

Iâm using my sonâs account as I write this and I went to see the Moon cross Earthâs shadow for the once in a lifetime lunar eclipse after knowing it was gonna be too cloudy for the rest of Florida, including my hometown, just north outside of Orlando.
He told me all about the weather in Florida as the last few days leading up to this flew by and saw that from Tallahassee to New York would be in the clear zone for the weather during this historic lunar eclipse.
It was a partial one, but I was told it was the longest partial eclipse since February 18, 1440 (and I was born in 1960 and am past 62 and my sonâs almost 27 as I write this), and we wonât have a longer one than this til the 8th of February in 2669.
Thatâs more than 647 years from now, so this was really an event of once in MANY generations.
And it was almost total as a bonus (with almost 98% of the Moon covered at its peak), so we knew it was special.
It was like a French amusement park everywhere at Panama City including the beach and we stayed at the Holiday terrace.
The scenery was unique and interesting and there was so much to see and it was very wondrous.
I remember I once did a triathlon there.
My son took excellent photos of the Moon at each stage as the eclipse came by.
He told me about the 2 total lunar eclipses next year and the one in 2029 whichâll really be the winner as that will be a deep central one with the Moon passing right through the center of Earthâs shadow (and I was told that would make the Moon more full than ever this century if I were in the right place, like west outside of SĂŁo Paulo - yeah location affects how the phases will look).
Like thatâll be a once in a lifetime moment as well and hope the weatherâs good.
I even learned the partial eclipse in 2669 will not only be longer than this, but even deeper, with 99.9% of the Moon in Earthâs shadow while the partial one in 2086 wonât be quite that deep but deeper than this (at 99.2%) and those will be shorter than this (because of course the Moon was farther away from us during this than where itâll be those years).
Glad we made it and didnât miss out.

It is a beautiful destination. Lots to do! Many places to eat. I had my hair done at The Black Swan at Pier Park by Mandy-fabulous! My nails were done at Tâs by Tim the owner and you show him a design and he can replicate it. The prices are reasonable. I went to iBrow on PCB and was very pleased. Captain Black at Hooked Up Charters has been fishing the waters around here since he was a boy and knows where the fish are so I would highly recommend you give him a call. People are friendly. This time I was here here for 6 weeks and wanted to stay longer but will just have to come back.

Beautiful white sand beach. We arrived for one afternoon and night with no plans. Worth the experience. When we left, we drove east on the Coastal Highway. Do not be tempted by the Interstate. Beautiful drive.

Panama City Beach is awesome! It's my annual vacation spot! Total relaxation! Always an awesome experience.

Beach was very clean, kid friendly! Kids had a lot of fun. Where we stayed we was walking distance from the beach and the Pier.

Amazing beach and the water is turquoise, no seaweed. The biggest problem, very noisy vehicle and motorcycle passing at crazy speeds, dangerous and very disturbing. For 3 weeks, I never saw any police car, not reassuring.

Our family of 5 really enjoyed Panama City Beach as it was easy to park with a short walk to the beach and restaurants. The beach was open, not crowded with dark blue water and beautiful white sands. Within walking distance were many nice restaurants and gift shops. We were disappointed the city charges to walk on their tiny pier. We also visited nearby parks with playgrounds, boat ramps and paved trails which was quiet and peaceful.

This is our favorite place for Vacation. The beach is worth the trip. We went on during the 4th of July and got to see a lot of fireworks. We stayed at the Sand Pipper Beacon. The building is old but the rooms were very clean. Room service and staff are excellent.

Stayed at Long Beach resort for 3 weeks. The resort was great, the beach and pool were amazing.,the perfect place. Not quite as busy as the other end by Pier Park. Lots of restaurants, bars activities near by. Walmart near by. State park was amazing.

There is nothing like waking up to a pod of dolphins swimming in front of your hotel balcony. Beautifully quiet, although a bit cool. Wearing a sweatshirt is better than fighting crowds. Clean and peaceful!

A small minded, racist town with unreliable service infrastructure and underhanded business practices. The hotel we booked lied about being beachfront. Getting a taxi/Uber/Lift takes up to 30 minutes. Tours and ferry are canceled without warning and you have to negotiate every refund for cancelled services. On the plus side the beaches are pretty. So if you have a car or are here to party for spring break, you experience might be enjoyable. But if you are expecting a full vacation and want to book experiences, my suggestion is to go elsewhere.

The views were great. Accomodations were good. Not as many good restaurants. Water was 69 so didn't swim much.

If you want to be in the ocean, save your money. The double red flags are the norm and strictly enforced. The people of this area need to find creative solutions to the rip tides. Too late for me and my party of 7. Never returning to PCB. If you don't get in the ocean on trips to the ocean, this might be for you. Local staff is pretty amazing at the resorts.

Great beach clean water and clean sand. The difficulty is trying to find a parking if you are just passing through. There is very little public parking. Most is for residents or hotel guests

The beach was amazing! So clean! The water was great! We were in a high rise and could see so much! A shark swam by! Pretty big too! Manatees down the beach, stingrays! Amazing. Our friend went parasailing from our area! Could walk to bars and restaurants! The strip was on the other side of our resort. We didnât have to drive at all! But we did!

West end of Panama City beach is quiet with miles of uncrowded white beach. Close to shopping and great restaurants. Service industry employees were very helpful.

We have been coming to Panama City Beach for 7 years. We are snowbirds. We get down the first week of December and will leave two weeks into April. A normal year, non Covid, we stay as busy as we want. The area loves us and provides many types of entertainment. We have met many new friends and the weather is always better than up North.
This year has been a challenge for everyone but we made it work for us. Hopefully by next fall, the world will be a better place and we will get back to the many activities the area has to offer.

Very nice beach and condos were nice. Beach Police made a few passes through but the general age was teen and young adult so the music and language of some of the all-day drinkers was not family appropriate. Will probably try to find a more family friendly beach next year. The people putting tents up in front of the $40 a day condo chairs where it was clearly posted not to was very frustrating.

This was the most beautiful penthouse Iâve ever stayed in. It overlooks the pier all the way to the end. You can see down the coast line. You can see all of pier Park entertainment area and nine bodies of water including the Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. The inside clearly has been decorated by professional decorator. Itâs a brand new unit with magnificent views and it is the penthouse! You must stay there. Calypso tower three never 2312 magnificent.

We have always vacationed in Florida as a family, mainly on the Atlantic side but we have always loved the calm beautiful waters on the Gulf side so decided to head to PCB. The beaches in the area were beautiful with a shallow entry into the water in most areas but unfortunately, we had double red flags so really could not fully enjoy. Can't say enough about all the water patrols that came by every 30 mins or so keeping everyone safe. The beaches were very clean and everyone definitely did their part by throwing away any garbage. I am an early riser and garbage and any maintenance on the beaches were done every morning. We stayed further to the East of PCB and not the heart of the strip which is to the West but still lots of great stuff to do. The area has fun for all with lots of options from water parks to go-carts to museums to roller skating and arcades. The options for dining were extensive as well from fine dining to chain restaurants. We focused more on locally owned restaurants such as Schooners, Patches Pub and the Bayou on the beach to get our fix for great fresh seafood and awesome atmosphere. We mainly stayed near the beaches but next time we will explore more of PCB and they have some military bases that hopefully offer a tour. PCB is well developed with all the necessities such as Wal Marts and the like in plazas slightly further away from the beaches so there is shopping too. We traveled with kids who are in their early 20s and they had no complaints. I think we followed most families' plans when they visit the area, we rented a condo that was beachfront and all worked out really well. Weekends of course are busier with lots of people driving in from closer States as well. I look forward to returning and exploring further.

Love visiting shell island in Panama city beach. We took a day trip to shell island on a pontoon boat rental with Adventures at Sea. So much fun for my family.

Our family consisting of 6 adults & two kiddos (a seven year old & 8 month old) spent Thanksgiving week on Panama City Beach. The beach is currently undergoing its fifth renourishment however the beaches behind our condo had already been completed and can only be described as fantastic. Wide, level soft white sand compliment the emerald clear waters of the Gulf Of Mexico. Lots of shells to look through as we took our daily walks. Spectacular sunsets as usual on âThe Worldâs Most Beautiful Beachesâ. We went shopping at Pier Park, played miniature golf, had lunch on Thanksgiving at Runaway Island, and enjoyed donuts from AâMore. This is absolutely the best time of the year to visit. Tourists are gone & so is the traffic. Most restaurants and attractions are open. This is definitely our happy place!

Really enjoy vacationing in PCB in February. Quiet sandy white beaches, no crowds, easy to get around. We will return.

NOTICE::::For the whole month of MARCH Panama City Beach enacts its beach laws which include: NO ALCOHOL on the beach. They strictly enforce these laws. The city is trying to discourage spring breakers and the trouble they have had in the past. They are leaning towards a family-oriented atmosphere.

Very long and clean beach areas. Lots activities to do or simply relax on the beach. Lots of places/restaurants to sit, eat, people watch. Make sure to apply and reapply sunblock as it gets intense especially in the afternoon

Really enjoyed the clean white sand and clear water! The sand bars are wonderful for smaller kids to enjoy the water without getting pummeled by waves.
Can see dolphins, pelicans, rays, small fish, sandpipers and other sea birds fishing.

Loved the beautiful white sand but code enforcement were @#$%.
They're only supposed to write a $500 fine if you don't comply with a warning. Officer Milligan must have been having a terrible day cause he was passing out tickets to everyone touching the surf. There were no postings warning of this and he did not care. Is there a quota? They know you're not going to come back and fight it.
Also, a local harrassed two teens and shot them both, right on the beach in front of a resort. One died as a result.
Panama City Beach is definitely not the place I always loved anymore.

Pleasantly Surprised. We haven't been to Panama City Beach in around 10 years. After we got into out 30's it became a little to much of a party scene and not so much a family oriented vacation. We were surprised to see how much it has improved. There is still plenty of party spots if that is your thing but also had calmed down a lot since the last time we were there. I believe our old favorite vacation spot has become our favorite again. Cant wait to plan our next trip.

Beautiful beach ; in fact it's a beautiful city with plenty of things to do in and around the area ; hiking , shopping , visiting etc.

My wife and I just spent a month here. We wanted to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary in our âHappy Placeâ. Even though it is the busiest time of the year we still had a great time. Visited Pier Park & Saint Andrews State Park. Enjoyed delicious meals at Patches, Captain Andersonâs, Uncle Ernies, Angelosâs & Pineapple Willyâs. Had our six year old Granddaughter and her family with us who enjoyed playing miniature golf at Pirateâs Island & Coconut Creek. There were multiple visits to Fun-Land and Shipwreck Island. Of course we built sand castles and she wore out her boogie board. You just canât beat the soft white sand beach and the clear warm waters of the Gulf Of Mexico. Other activities included watching July 4th fireworks from our balcony as well as dolphins and stingrays swimming by us in the emerald clear waters of the Gulf. And of course there were walks on the beach while enjoying spectacular sunsets. Trip Advisor just named Panama City Beach #2 on its 2021 list of top emerging destinations in the world. Our family loves this place!

Pros: Great sand. Fairly clean.
Cons: Lots of riffraff. Lots of police presence⊠which is obviously needed. Not a place I want to take my family back to.

We stayed on Gulf Dr in an air b n b We had such a relaxing fun time at the beach, except for whoever invited the jellyfish for 2 days, but other than that- perfection

A quick get away from Atlanta , time spent t was awesome as usual. The beach water was warm . And the weather good all the way until we was about to leave and it rained .

DO NOT TRAVEL HERE- VACATION TURNED HORRIBLE. Officer D Chance does not serve and protect. In fact he goes against what we all think sheriff/police departments should be for. My sisters safety was not the priority in this case. After a warning an officer gave at the beach for a red flag warning- officer D chance proceeded to harass body slam then arrest a 120lb young girl because she didn't acknowledge the warning and sat down in her beach chair, while her mother repeatedly told him she can't communicate shes a mentally ill person. AND SHE WAS COMPLYING! You asked if she was not a minor and once vou found out you attacked her. NO TICKET JUST EXCESSIVE FORCE ON A MENTALLY ILL PERSON. This would never happen in Colorado. PCB you LOST MY TOURIST MONEY.

Strange people around so we didnât feel comfortable.. the beach was nice but you canât swim.. itâs so windy the whole time.. definitely not worth the money paid for the stay.. plus military jets that terrifying kids & us adults as well.. every time they flew by.. plus the traffic is horrible.. luckily we were closed to the center so we could walk there..
definitely not turning back there..

Iâve never seen all my life a beach like Panama beach FL. The entire beachfront is particular with gate and code.
Thereâs no public parking, no shower, no beach⊠thatâs ridiculous beach place.
I do not recommend and very frustrating
By by PanamĂĄ beach

The beach is spectacular.... Many different restaurants all within easy distance of major beach hotels.

We had a blast. There are tons of things to do in Panama city. The beach, of course, is the main draw. However, you have several mini golf places, several arcades, a permanent carnival, a zoo-like facility, dolphin shows, odditorium..... The list goes on and on. The eatery is great, too. We tried pompano Joe's, gulf coast burgers, saltwater grill and a couple other places, and they didn't disappoint. We are definitely going back!

Beach stuff going on we were unaware of but not going to stop us on enjoying our stay just would have been nice to know before hand

Panama City Beach has turned into the ghetto, we did not feel safe going anywhere after dark. No longer family friendly. Dirty and rundown. We will hold on to our fond memories of our past vacations here but after this time, we will not be back.

The beach is very sandy and soft. The ocean water is warm, and very shallow for a long way out into it. And of course the sun sets over the water. A wonderful place to visit.

Five star easily !! Very clean, variety of places to stay and eat, lots of things to keep teenagers occupied, best trip with kids!!

We love taking the fam to PCB especially in late summer / early Fall. The sand and water make for the best beach. Pineapple Willyâs is a great way to finish a long day of soaking up the sun.

Skip this one. PCB is very congested and overbuilt. Itâs a pretty beach but sadly the surrounding area is very junky & rundown, taking away from its beauty. Itâs not family friendly in my opinion or a good place to relax with your spouse. Thereâs a condom store, hooters, beach superstores everywhere and average restaurants that are very overpriced. Helicopters fly over every minute (military and tourism) which wasnât relaxing. They fly pretty close to the beach so you constantly hear them. The rental chair companies have the monopoly on the beach so itâs tough to find a spot if youâve brought your own. The cost of the hotels on the beach are very high considering how junky the area is. They do have a pier that looks better, but to me it still isnât worth it. On the upside, visiting St Andrews state park and Shell Island is worth it. It depends on the time of year you go because it can be packed with people but they are beautiful must sees if you are passing through. As much as we loved those spots, we wonât be staying in PCB for it in the future. If youâre looking for a relaxed, quiet vacation with nature, Iâd say look elsewhere.

First time visited PCB. Beautiful white sugar sand, emerald clear water. Definitely crowded this time of year and the water is on the cool side. Still a great vacation spot!

After years of avoiding PCB like the plague because of the unruly crowds we decided to give it another try for our family. I had hoped that several years of stricter enforcement that families could once again return to what use to be the gem of the coast. Unfortunately we were met with much of the same. Highly intoxicated young people, very loud music with harsh profanities, trash, binge drinking on the beach, open drug use, and was topped off this evening when we walked onto the public beach between the pier and Calypso for sunset family pictures to be met with a young(looked to be under age) girl performing oral sex on a young man. All of this and we have seen no police presence. Apparently PCB has chosen their preferred crowd so I cannot imagine a reason to ever bring our family back.

Great for a family trip with friends, you can bring your own snacks, veru clean area and safe. We park near

Absolutely beautiful beaches. You can't go wrong. Water was very cold on February but still stunning. Turquoise waters and white sugar sand.

The white sugar sand beaches of PCB are incredible! There is something for everyone....isolated areas in front of homes, public beach areas, and beach areas crowded with guests of tower condos/hotels...a little something for everyone! The beaches are gorgeous, and this is a great place to go....singles, couples, or families!

Why can't you find blue crabs here in Panama City? Doesn't anyone one know how to pick them, or are they so lazy they prefer the easy-to-pick snow crabs from Alaska? It amazes me that snow crabs are flown in from 5000 miles away while the crab-rich Gulf versions are ignored. All along the Atlantic coast from Maine to South Carolina, people eat blue crabs in gumbo, geechie stew and crab boils but in the Florida Gulf they are virtually unavailable. Yes, you can find so called "crab cakes" on restaurant menus, but these are made from rock crabs or coral crabs. Why?
Every region has its specialty items: crab cakes in Maryland, lobsters in Maine, bull testicles in Montana, and smoked tuna dip here in Panama City.

Always worth coming back for more!! PCB has everything for everyone; amazing beaches, restaurants and plenty to do on all
days rain or shine!!

Bring ear plugs. The military jets fly too close to the beaches, condos and pools. I will not return due to the earbursting noise. The little kids at the pool were terrified every time they flew by.

Wonderful visit to the beach, the color of the water and the amazing sunsets, the weather was great, great vacation.

This was a very enjoyable experience. The staff was pleasant and the food was great! We highly recommend this place.

Got a citation for 500 dollars without warning for entering the gulf water two feet dip. The lifeguard called the law enforsement on me instead of bring to my attention local laws and regulation. Draconian and predatory

Loved this beach because I can take my dog
And of course my girl loves lapping in the water
Nice clean beach
Plenty of food options

We've visited here before and it was never this crowded. I don't know if it's because the area got hit by hurricane Sally and things are limited???? We left feeling claustrophobic and disappointed

âââââ Beautiful Area With Something for Everyone
Panama City Beach and the Seacrest area on 30A offer an incredible mix of natural beauty, laid-back beach living, and great amenities. The beaches are some of the cleanest and most beautiful on the Gulf Coast, with soft white sand and clear emerald water.
Panama City Beach is lively and convenient, with plenty of restaurants, shopping, family attractions, and easy beach access. Itâs a great choice for visitors who want entertainment, dining, and a classic beach vacation atmosphere.
Seacrest Beach on 30A has a different feel â more relaxed, scenic, and upscale. Communities like Santa Rosa Beach, Seacrest, Inlet Beach, Rosemary Beach, and Seaside each have their own personality, with bike paths, coastal dune lakes, local shops, and excellent dining. Itâs ideal for those looking for a quieter, more refined beach experience.
Together, Panama City Beach and 30A make this stretch of the Emerald Coast a standout destination. Whether youâre visiting for a short vacation, an extended stay, or considering making the area home, itâs easy to see why so many people return year after year.

I super love Panama Beach, its always a paradise for me, I always recommend my family and friends to visit, we will make it as family trip every year. The traffic is really on a way but all good in general,

Avoid Panama City Beach if you can. They are seriously lacking in sufficient infrastructure along the beach roads. It can take you 1/2 an hour to travel 1/2 a mile. Good luck trying to turn across traffic. It is insane yet they are still building more and more hotels. The restaurants are interesting. Some are very good and others are not. The staffs are mainly on temporary work VISAs so service is spotty at best.
We loved the Florida beaches but we wont be going back to PCB.

We stayed at Holiday inn express on the beach. We really had a nice time they have a great free breakfast the only thing is the heating unit made so much noise.

Rented a 2-story townhouse right on the beach near Laguna Beach (west end) last week of Jul 2022 and just loved the relaxed environment and immediate access to the Gulf Coastâs beautiful white sand and gorgeous waters. Enjoyed a day of deep sea fishing (20 miles out) with the âNew Beginningâ fishing vessel out of Capt Andersonâs Marina. Caught plenty of red snapper and made wonderful memories with the grand kids. A special thanks to emergency services when we had to call 911 for help when our granddaughter had a severe allergy reaction to cashewsâŠtotally professional team provided immediate medical aid and safely transported her to the hospital for follow-on care! Ambulance response time was LESS THAN 5 minutes. Thank you FLORIDA for your enduring spirit and tireless efforts for keeping PCB alive and well through turbulent times. Not one problem with COVID while there and the restaurants were FULLđ

Came to town for a quick getaway/pre-Labor Day weekend. PC is one of our go-to places to enjoy some beach time; though not a fan of sitting out on the beach for hours on end, is totally worth it to rent a seat/umbrella for the day to avoid dragging out personal chairs and an umbrella; love listening to the ocean waves - and the birds! :o) Very serene; also love standing at the edge of the shore as the waves are rushing back and forth; favorite time on the beach is close to sunset, mainly to enjoy the sounds while reading a book with few other folks about; love having a room on the beach to also enjoy the view.

Arrived here March 1 and got to the beach the next day. Its so white and beautiful, really amazed us. Beach area was not too busy at all and we made it to Pier Park.

It was not what I originally expected based on reviews. Everyone was so pleasant and welcoming. A great trip had by all!!

PCB has become a cesspool of extremely disrespectful young people who have absolutely no raising along with the trashy clothes they wear exposing all their body parts you want to cry about being preyed on by men put some clothes on and their filthy extremely loud music playing PCB you need a noise ordinance and if you enjoy the salty air too bad it's been replaced by weed and lots of it PCB has turned to trash oh and this was Sunday to Thursday go somewhere else with your family trust me

Please help, I am traveling to Panama in November and it leaves me at the Tocumen international airport, my accommodation is in the Panama decameron. How can we get there economically, we are 3 people. Thank you

Beach is Beautiful- we stayed right on water so it was wonderful and lodging was great- would not return based on spring break traffic. Itâs really a shame but seems like the catering to the spring breakers outweighs the desire to have it safe for families to enjoy evenings here. Kids hanging out of cars, girls on trunks of cars being obscene, music so loud and obnoxious it was hard to enjoy pool. One kid at pier park riding on tailgate fell off and hit his head so hard on ground- just scary scene last weekendâŠâŠBeach is really impressive though and clean! Just stay off main roads as much as possible.

Although we had read that the beaches in the golf of Mexico and the Florida Panhandle were very nice, they really exceeded our expectations. The place doesnât feel too crowded, even though we are on spring break and it appears to be very family friendly. The beaches are impeccably clean, they have city staff manicuring the beaches, the water is very clean, and the sand is white and fine. There are plenty of things to do in the city as well as restaurants and overall the city exceeded our expectations and we will be back again.

Love the beaches, blue water and fine sand. The water is a little cold at this time of year, warmer in August. I would definitely come again.

The whole atmosphere is the best part. The beach, the air, the smell of the food and the pure excitement of it all.

Beautiful white sand. Several blue/green colored water. Beach is well cared for and patrolled regularly. Friendly helpful patrol personnel.

The vacation was wonderful until we rented from Outlaw #4 rentals. They kept our 500.00 deposit after saying it would be returned in 7-10 business days. We have called multiple times to dispute it and also sent a text to the manager saying it would be returned to us and it has not been. This is how they treat their customers and military families by stealing money from them. Do not throw away your money on this company. You will not get your deposit back and be better business bureau gives them an F rating.

Went for grandson baseball world series. Publix park is very nice. Long walk to the back. Almost a mile.

Beautiful beach, breath taking sunset. The County, however, had a double red flag all days, which remains in effect still to date although the waves looked like a swimming pool later in the week. I was born and raised at the beach and not being allowed to actually go to the beach, or weâd be pulled over just I was once or twice a day, is pretty frustrating. Although I really liked how the beach looked like, thatâs really not what I look for when I have a chance to go back to the waters. As for restaurants, consider the ones where they donât fry even water. Seafood is meant to be appreciate in its delicate state.

My wife and I decided to drive around the entire circumference of Florida, checking out all the beaches along the way including all the way to the tip of of the keys... sort of a quest for the best beach in the land.
Panama City Beach was our last stop. A good friend of mine, who lived in the area told me that these are the best beaches in Florida. I thought he was a little partial since he lived here but he was right. The beaches here are exceptional. Letâs start with the sand, itâs a crunchy white finer powder thatâs real easy on the feet and gives the turquoise blue green water a more exotic contrast. I Google pictures sometimes to send to friends to try to tell the story but really, they donât do it justice. You have to see it for yourself. Also, access to the beaches is hassle free, I donât ever remember paying parking, and although there are a few less accessible areas, for the most part you can check out the beach with no problems. Itâs no coincidence that this place is very busy during the peak season. Grab a beach chair, a book and a few cold drinks for the cooler and enjoy the best beeches around.

Panama City Beach is a beautiful place with soft sand and emerald seas. There is plenty to do in the area and lots of delicious restaurants nearby.

Beautiful white sandy beach with crystal clear water. Water is a little chilly this time of year. Love hearing an occasional fighter jet fly by. Stay at the beach for an evening breath taking sunset. So AWESOME!!

Beautiful beach. Lots of restaurants and hotels on the beach or close by. Bring everything you need when you are going down to the besch. It can ne a good walk from the free parking. Great place to enjoy some R & R. Be back soon.

The fishing in the lagoon and on the beach was awesome. The Airbnb we rented was clean and an easy walk to the beach. We felt safe walking the area and the Carnival Market had excellent fresh produce along with the fresh fish from Buddy's Seafood.

Went here to visit friends that recently moved to the area. The Beach is very well kept and clean. Plenty of room to spread out with many bars and restaurants with beach access.

My family and I just got back from Panama City Beach. We loved the beach and our Long Beach Resort Condo. The pool was clean and refreshing. We enjoyed our time at the beach the most.

Well it rained...... but the times it didn't the beach was beautiful. The breeze blew just enough that it was not too hot or too cold.

Even in the rain, it is beautiful. The sunshine and temperature were perfect. I love to have my feet in the soft white sand or sit on the beach meeting new friends.

This air boat ride was top notch & so was our captain!! He took the time to answer all of our questions and filled up with the most filling information. Super cool 10/10 recommend!!!
Caption Roger was our captain â wild thang airboat tours

Thereâs no better place to be than the beach so thereâs a lot to like here. We love the soft white sugar sand, though if youâre not in good shape the thick, soft sand can be tiring to walk in. Regardless, itâs beautiful to look at.
Sadly, in comparison to other FL beaches, it appears theyâve allowed a lot of erosion to occur. The waves do seem to be more powerful here than most other parts of FL which makes for some good boarding, but it also eats away at the beach.
Weâve also noticed much less sea life here than elsewhere in FL, but perhaps thatâs just the part of the beach weâre on. Regardless, itâs a beautiful beach and a fun area. Weâll most likely be back.

Location is near beach an great restaurants also shopping rooms are very cleaned and maintained the staff is really great will accommodate as much as possible another great employee at front desk is Adrienne I really enjoyed my stY

Great beach. Not very crowded in April. Water was too cold right now but enjoyed walking the beach. Plan to return soon.

This beach is soooooooo mush better then Destin. Enjoyable for couples, singles, teens and the entire family (even the dog)

The beaches here are absolutely beautiful. The sand is soft and fluffy and just gorgeous. It does make it hard to walk, though. The water is clear and clean. We will definitely come back to the area

This is by far my happy place. Beautiful beach, beautiful ocean. Very warm and doesn't make you feel icky when you get out. We enjoy coming here as often as we can!

Panama City Beach is one of my new favorite beaches. Although there are several entrances, it seems there could be more parking available, but overall it's well worth the visit.

Did notice some trash floating near the shoreline, also many days double red. This beach is known for deadly rips, but they have a great system to warn beach goers. Many people were seen in the water during double red flags. The water was gorgeous.

A truly relaxing and gem of a town! We of course came after the tourist season was over and I don't know if we would of enjoyed the place as much as we did. WE wanted to come relax, grab some food, check out the city and the beach without any big crowds, long lines, or have to deal with any immaturity that you sometimes witness with tourist seasons, and we were not disappointed! We fell in love and will be back to treasure this place again.

Great beach
Water clear and beautiful on colors
Sand is beautiful
Very clean
Highly recommend to everyone
Check the dogs area too

Fun, sun, and sand. Beautiful white sand, squishing through your toes, as you walk along the Gulf of Mexico, at a leisurely pace. Along the way, stop for a moment, and gaze along the water's surface, and, if you're lucky, you will see jumping dolphins, cruising the shoreline. Continue your walk, and see if you can spot unusual shells, washed ashore, by incoming tides. Don't just imagine, what it must be like, after reading my review. Visit personally and see what I see. I visited in the off season, with no crowds. Hope my vision helps, with your first visit.

In writing this view, I am speaking of the total environment or town rather than the lovely beach itself. We are very familiar with most of Florida over a lifetime of multiple and extensive visits from top to bottom, east, west and central. I'd owned a beachfront condo here for some years as well.
This town is extremely given over to a "chain store and stays" mentality, almost completely lacking in signature identity, character and warmth. There is nothing resembling an old town within range as well. The attractions tend very commercial, pricy and generally mindless. On a more positive note, there are some fine dining options, both upscale and even some more affordably designed.
The Panhandle area seems generally geared to attract two major categories of folk at different times: traditionalists and college partygoers. I mean nothing disrespectful to either as a group, knowing and enjoying many of each over a lifetime. However, the overall impression is one attracting from within a very limited scope of our nation's population. This becomes less true heading south along the Gulf of Mexico or similarly Atlantic Floridian Coast. For some this is an asset, for others not so much. There is no doubt it works quite well for selective vacationers. I will conclude by saying I have not seen anyone - given the superficial circumstances of a visit- of any culture treated disrespectfully.

We had a great time at the beach ,me and my son went for a day ourselves and had a blast, then we all went and had a great time as well, not to crowded the weather was great also

Visited for a day June 2021 and then again October 2021. Huge stretch of beach with just about everything you need on both sides of the street. Finding wheelchairs available for daily use was a huge bonus on my most recent visit, and was a simple process. Finding a free parking spot if quite easy too, especially considering the volume of beachgoers. White sand and blue, shallow water. No glass on the beach, but you can bring your coolers, chairs and toys!!

5 stars for white beaches and amazing sunsets. The water was crystal clear all week long. Bike rally was in town which added a lot of loud noise but saw some great bikes.

Shell island, it is amazing found a sharks tooth water was awesome, can't wait to go back but the only down size is you have to take a shuttle boat to get there..

Beautiful everything was great we enjoyed as usual. Beach was clean. Food was good. I always enjoy Panama City Beach. Love the scenery

The beach is beautiful, this weekend however, there was inclement weather and rip tide warnings, so was not able to actually get in the water. We loved the condo we rented and proximity and access to the beach, the view, and humidity was not as high as usual, so that was good. PCB is growing by leaps and bounds, however, still lacks a variety fine dining choices.

great soft white sand, large beach, beautiful water! PCB is amazing! Lots of great activities in addition to beaching in PCB.

A little crowded, but a very clean beach with white sugar sand. Water was exceptionally clear all week. We saw lots of rays and dolphins.

A family visit during the forth of July week. The beach was busy but uncrowded, plenty of room to set up a family gathering area. The weather was unpredictable as Elsa was threatening, however we made the best use of the beach, the flags were up and informative. If traveling with children...UNDERSTAND THE FLAGS ! a family is mourning the loss of their son due to trying to take on mother nature. Overall a great beach and town.

This is a fantastic beach area with white sand and lovely water. Great area for a trip as there is a lot to see and do.
The highlight though is certainly the beach and water ways. Youâre also close to alot of nice fishing areas.

Fall in love with the beautiful emerald, clear water of Panama City Beach. Walk on the soft white sand and have wonderful seafood! I like the less crowded West end of the beach. Celadon is the last highrise to the West and a good place to stay. I loved it for so long, decided to move here!

Great! Love the city! Beautiful place and close to everything! Definitely will be back in the future. Everything is so close.

Panama City Beach is beautiful and very well taken care of. It is extremely clean and the ocean view is amazing, of course!

Great beach. White sand and blue water. Itâs clean and loads of public beach access points.
Itâs better than the parties in Destin particularly with young kids

Recently moved here and the beaches are so much better than west coast. My family loved the crystal blue water and gentle shoreline. Goodbye California!!!

I planned this trip before my older French bulldog passed away. I now have a 7 mth old frenchie and an almost 9 yr old Boston terrier. We travel a lot. I wanted to see if this was truly a beach that could compare with the Caribbean waters. Hands down it does not. I stayed 7 days and only one was the beach pretty and clean enough to swim without seaweed all over it. The water was nice the one day for 3 hrs when we got in it. The beach is crowded and the whole time is very commercialized. We stayed at a resort which was super nice but I personally didnât find anything extra special about this beach. The sand was soft. The dog beach area was small and they wanted u to keep belongings behind a yellow wood post. It was also a headache to hunt parking for the dog beach. If u have a big dog that can walk far in the heat then thatâs good. Overall this beach was worth visiting and safe enough just not very impressive to us.

Spent a few weeks and enjoyed the time spent. Weather was as good as expected for Feb.
From everything we saw it looks like it livens up quite a bit starting in March
We enjoyed the quiet walks without the crowds.

Our hotel room had a beach view, it was absolutely amazing. You could hear the waves crashing and the sunset was nothing short of breath taking.

Too many cigar and smokers. Too many dog owners walking dogs and not pickin up poop properly. If you canât stand smoke this is not your place. Too many smokers. It was a struggle in January I canât imagine in high season. Nobody gives a damm! The only beach where smoking is not allowed is the dogs beach so lots of dogs and more poop and crowded. Water is clear and amazing views but lung cancer or issues with smoking this is not your place. No fresh air on the beach nor around. Also lots of bikers on the streets.

My wife & I along with my daughter, her husband & their two kids(age 8 & 1 1/2) just spent Thanksgiving week on Panama City Beach. Best time of year to visit. Tourists are gone so⊠no traffic, no long waits at area restaurants & we practically had the beach to ourselves. The white soft sand beaches here are some of the best in America including Hawaii. The weather was good & the Gulf was crystal clear. We had a great time collecting shells with the Grandkids & of course the sunsets were spectacular. Highly recommend.

Everything was awesome except for the jet ski rental they stole like $300 off my credit card I think it was called Adventures at Sea in front of the summit and they never paid me my money back and so did bikini Bob's

Rented a condo on the beach from Christmas Day until the day before New Yearâs. The beach was quiet, but the emerald water and white sand is always beautiful. At least at this time of year the beach is very clean and mostly unpopulated.

I will never visit anywhere else in Florida after visiting here. It is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. So much to do as well! No matter your age, there is something for everyone!

Sugar white beaches. The emerald coast. But code enforcement will unapologetically ruin a families day and make you consider all your other beach options as a tourist.
Double red flags = a $500 fine if your in even 8" of surf. Not posted. No warning. So don't believe the news when they tell you it's onlyif you if you refuse to get out of the water. That's either a bokd faced lie or they just know you're not coming back to go to court on it.
Whatever the reason, I'll be considering the other many beach options next trip.

This was a lovely beach to visit. Well kept and nice and clean. There were a few car parks you could use along it. Also a dog section, near the pier, which was good as they were not allowed on the rest of the beach.

Absolutely wonderful place to visit. Locals were friendly and helpful with attraction recommendations in the area. A clean smaller city vibe with plenty to do and all the amenities within walking distance from our condo on Front Beach Blvd.
The white sandy beach is beautiful and clean.
Although PCB is considered to be a much cooler area to vacation in winter and early spring, the weather was been perfect. Low 69 -78.
The perfect vacation location.

Hands down one of the prettiest beaches and ocean I've ever seen. When boating in the Gulf, you can see the bottom 30 feet down. Porpoises are incredible there as well. I've owned two fishing boats over the last few decades and went there ONLY to be in the ocean, far away from the typical drunken, violent, idiot, rude, disrespectful, angry, trashy beach tourists. The fishing is incredible! When I was finished fishing, I'd hang out at my unit I rented, eat a killer meal, enjoy a drink or two, go to sleep early, and do it all again the next day. Never do I frequent any bar or seedy restaurant that had a dark, vomit-smelling bar filled with angry men just sitting there like losers hugging their beeeeyurs. To me, PCB is ONLY about the natural beauty of the state park and the Gulf. Other than that, its nothing to me but a cesspool of idiocy. My boats are gone and I'll not likely return there again.

Beautiful beach! đ clean, family oriented vibe, white sand, clean water, only thing I wish it was dog friendly. But plenty to do and see and great food in area!

The last week in October is a great time to visit. Fall break is over, Thanksgiving break isnât until the end of November. So that meant no crowds on the beach! Weather was in the high 70âs low 80âs with no rain. Lows in the mid 60âs. The only negative is the shoreline. Not sure what theyâre doing here but thereâs a 2 1/2 â drop off to get in the water.

Lots to do for the whole family. Beaches are gorgeous. Water is warm. Schooners has excellent lunch and dinner food. Jessie's has excellent home cooking breakfast and lunch food.

This beach is beautiful. Double red flags but still beautiful. Great for walks and dolphin watching.

The turquois waters against the white sandy beaches are beautiful. We spent most of our time on the beach or enjoying the sounds and sights from our beachfront balcony.

We stayed in a beautiful airbnb atTropic Winds on the 23rd floor with oceanfront views. I was looking for absolute R&R and I found it here. I could honestly sit on that balcony every day all day, listening to the ocean and watching the sunset. Simply beautiful. The beach is beautiful but I'm not much of a beachbum. In my opinion, this is an area geared toward families, not a party scene. I will definitely be returning. Also, we drove there from southern Michigan. Not a bad drive, 15 hours. Lastly, there are a ton of nearby shopping malls for you shopaholics. I can't wait to go back to my balcony someday! Safe travels everyone! đ

Panama City Beach is very spacious, with beautiful soft white sand and plenty of room for all the people staying at the various condos along the beach. You can definitely walk for miles. There are public access points if you are not staying there. TIP: if you are not a party person, stay as far away from Pineapple Willey's as possible. The area itself is an "outdated old beach town". The lodging is nice, so if you plan to visit, go strictly for the beach.

Staying in unit 1216 the floor in master bedroom is flooded with water have reported this several times said it was from air conditioning an they see it in lots of units No thisis no exceptable when you have to mop up water 3 to 4 times a day at least my granddaughter fell last night in the water hurt her arm an bottom if it had been me at 64 on chemo wouldn't of been good but funguest want do anything to fix this r move us to different unit we have been here a wk Saturday mopping water up an not able to sit anything In floor have to wipe your feet before getting in bed by morning it's bad water is everywhere in master bedroom I'm sure that the owners doesn't know this an would love to know we have came for yrs but not booking through them anymore will do owners only!!

We had great accommodations and thoroughly enjoyed the Pier and Pier Park! The shops and eating establishments we're great and we found ourselves going back there a few times during our vacation. We saw dolphins and sea turtles along with beautiful sands and skies!

Clean sand
Beautiful surf
Laid back mood..
Peaceful area meant for well behaved people
Dogs are not allowed on the beach .They must be on a leash You must pick up animal waste/feces You will be fined for violating county ordinances re no animals on the beach!

I went in 2021 for the first time and came home and booked for 2022 within 2 weeks. I love PBC and this year I discovered the trolley as i did not drive this time. It is relaxing, fun and sittin on the beach and eating great food is so much better that looking at snow. I hope to make it a yearly trip.l

Very kid friendly I saw more bass patrol and lifeguards than police officers feel really safe in the water

Guess the beach is long and it all depends on where you are sat. Our hotel was near to the city pier so on the 1st day it was natural we went there. Wasnât much going on in terms of shops and restaurants. Of course the sand is wonderful but itâs mainly the same all the way to the Alabama beaches. Sadly the weather turned cold and wet after the 1st day so we didnât have the opportunity to explore other PCB beaches

PBC is a great place to take your family with relaxed waters and plenty of soft sand. We would recommend PBC to anyone who doesnât care for the bust tourist beach town.

my mom has a condo at regency towers in Panama City Beach Florida it is room 215 it has 2 big pools the beach is beautifully white the ocean is sparkling in the sunlight the pool feels so good after you have been laying out in the sun while enjoying a nice cold coke a cola in your hand listening to the waves crashing and the seagulls flying over head and then having a nice lunch on the beach you will have the time of your life there is nothing more relaxing than a beach life from LINDSEY Hammond

Panama city beach is great & they keep it clean & protected. Always enjoy going there & walking on beach.

Panama City Beach is my favorite beach. I love that the water is clear and that you can see what is in the water. It is a beautiful and truly an amazing place.

We just returned home from our first visit to PCB. It was great! Not at all crowded this time of year. The white sugar sand is awesome. They are currently dredging to replenish the beach. This brings up tons of shells. Access points are clearly marked but some are a little tricky because they are between buildings. Access 56 and 57 are pet friendly. We did see a few dogs at other points which is not supposed to be allowed.
We had a great time here and can't wait to go again!

Ugly, sad, blighted place. Just look at the map areal view and youâll see what a mess man has made of what was once a beautiful place. Compare to the well designed towns to its east. Development and urbanization do not have to be ugly. It can be a compliment to nature. Do not go here unless you are looking for the bottom of the barrel. Frankly, the town left me feeling depressed about America.

Prettiest beach I have seen in a long time. Water was beautiful and so was the sand. We saw a lot of dolphins playing outside of our building.

Great beach. Not very crowded in April. Water was too cold right now but enjoyed walking the beach. Plan to return soon. Highly recommend PCB if you love seafood.

Stayed at the Embassy Suites PCB and hotel and staff were awesome! Also would love to leave a review for Sueâs Thai Cafe a few miles down the road. Awesome little spot and food is delicious!

Nice vacation spot with many options as far as places to stay, eat and have fun. Calm water and of course the powder like sand and emerald waters.

I went to Panama City Beach over Easter weekend. I stayed at a hotel right on the beach and the beach was so beautiful and relaxing. There are plenty of places to eat and drink at PCB. I prefer going in spring or early autumn, less crowded and the hotels offer better deals. I usually go to Panama City Beach at least once a year.

Many moons ago, I was in Panama City, FL. I came here and received excellent training and became a certified lactation counselor. Check the records. I am qualified. Panama City is an outstanding region and I would recommend visiting if you ever get the chance!

White sand, gentle surf, clean water....we will return! Plenty of restaurants to try, beautiful scenery.

Here on a VERY breezy April afternoon and evening. Rained all morning but the beach, in the afternoon, was simply beautiful. After dinner we walked down the beach in the direction that was not packed with kids. There were small groups of, mostly, families, the water was beautiful and there was plenty of room to walk, Found a couple of empty beach chairs and watched the sun dip lower and lower. Sunset was beautiful. Loved the soft white sand and the sound of the waves washing up on the shore. Perfect end to a busy day.

Other than the beach being too crowded (at least in front of the big condo's), it was perfect. Crystal clear water, great weather and it was so fun to play in it and collect shells. We come back every couple years or so.

Beautiful white sand, sparkling emerald green and sky blue water, shells, crabs, birds and friendly communities. Quiet sunrise walks on the beach are a perfect start for the day. Easy access to the beach on well kept ramps and plenty by places to dispose of trash. Family and pet friendly. Sunset on the beach is an experience you must not miss.

Very beautiful place!! The beach was amazing!! White sand and clear water!! Definitely will be back!

Typically gorgeous Gulf beach. Avoid totally during Spring break. East end is classier. Itâs no Destin! Bad zoning. RV lots on main roads close to the beach.

The beach was quiet where I was, the ocean was wonderful as expected, the area was very touristy but felt safe.

One of the best Beaches in America. My wife and I just spent the last three weeks including July 4th holiday here & had a great time. If you crave beautiful soft white sand beaches then this is it. The crystal clear emerald waters of the Gulf were warm & calm. Sunsets here are world class. Beaches are clean and family friendly. Rent jet skis, beach chairs or Parasail. Plenty of shopping & restaurants. If your kids need a break from the beach there are arcades, go cart rides, mini golf, Ripleyâs, Wonder Works, Sunset Cruises, Dolphin adventures, Deep Sea fishing and a whole lot more. There is something to do for every member of the family. This is the whole package. Highly recommend!

The upside is the area is gorgeous outside of the shopping crowds. The water is as pretty as Destin, but it is much cheaper to stay in Panama City Beach with back roads to avoid crowds (there is only one way in and out of Destin), but ... the crime is out of control. This is hard to write since I have been coming to PCB for many years since I was a teenager and love the area between east end to St Andrews (which is still beautiful and not too crowded, but it's a new world). Just found out that PCB is rated number 1-7 most violent cities in the US for its size and population the last 7 years. I guess I've been neglectful not to have checked this out sooner.
I am currently living in New Orleans and was considering a home in the Glades, which is a gated community across the street from Shores of Panama on Front Beach Rd. Knew there were patches of crime, but I thought this area was safe and have been visiting checking out the area. Two boys 12-16 years old were vacationing with their parents and were shot by a 37 year old man while walking on the beach behind Shores of Panama. One is dead and the other went to the hospital. These boys were vacationing with their parents and this situation is intolerable. This was one of the few areas not shaded on crime maps, but I don't feel safe to move there, or even visit until I feel like the situation is under control. There was another double shooting toward the west end a few days prior.
Again, it saddens me to write this and I hope they get the situation under control.. They are building a hospital in PCB which is much needed and there are new developments going in as well. Heard the main problem is people move to the area in season and minimum wage jobs are plentiful, but don't have a way to support themselves in the winter. I don't know the solution, but it needs to be addressed.

Luv'd the escape of it.
From the piers to the sand to the water.
It was clean and its a beach who could ask for more.
Quick walk from our hotel

Probably the best beach in FloridaâŠ
Powdery sandâŠflat beach for walkingâŠgulf not rough like the east coast (Atlantic)âŠ
Weâve been here since the 29th of NovâŠquite and a little cooler than the far southâŠ
Now Feb 5 and returning to Ontario end of the monthâŠ

Mid September was the perfect time for me because it wasnât too crowded. The water is clear and beautiful and the sand is soft and white.

Beautiful Beaches! Great Restaurants!
Great Sand Castle class with That Sand Castle Guy. He brings everything to your location.

Let's start with the beautiful beach, where the sand is so white that it blindfolds your fashion sense. If you manage to find your way to the water without tripping over a seagull, behold the amazing Oceanview from your hotel room. You can witness waves crashing against a horizon full of possibilities, like the high chance of a sunburn.
Now, let's dive into the most delicious food this place has to offer. The local cuisine is a fusion of flavors that will make your tongue think itâs dancing at EDC. From fried everything, like Nathanâs, to the seafood at Runaway Island, tasting like Poseidon's kisses, you'll be questioning your life choices while reaching for another bite.
Panama City is the perfect mix of fun and relaxation, like trying to balance on a hammock during a hurricane. And the best part? It's conveniently close to all the entertainment, so you can walk five steps and be stuck in traffic. It packs entertainment into every nook and cranny, making sure you never have a dull moment. Whether you're searching for a parking spot or navigating through crowds, every turn is an adventure that tests your sanity.
Is it worth driving 5 and a half hours to get here? Absolutely! So hop in your car, buckle up, and get ready to experience Panama City, FL â the place that turns vacations into unforgettable memories, and leaving you wondering if you could secretly build a sandcastle to extend your stay.

We came here for my hubby's 60th birthday. The beachfront is amazing. There's plenty of restaurants and shopping. Friendly folks.

Absolutely breathtaking! Beautiful sandy white beach with crystal clear-turquoise water. So much to see and do. We fished on the pier, snorkeled, went site seeing, shopped till we dropped and enjoyed the restaurants and atmosphere. Weâll be back!

Love PCB. We try to go here at least 2 times a year. The sand is soft and the gulf breeze is wonderful. We came right after the red tide left lots of debris and dead fish on shore. The next morning is was all gone. Great vacation spot- plenty of things to do along the e coast

Beautiful place with unique sunsets. Ideal for families!!! Extensive beaches to enjoy.
There are many activities for the kids. Without a doubt... we will return!

Beautiful sand and aqua colored water. Very hot on the sand in August. Lots of tourists driving loud motorcycles and hot rods. Not much variety in local restaurants: everything is fried (fish, oysters, shrimp) and served with French fries and coleslaw. Good nature park nearby. Good pier fishing with redfish, mackerel, and flounder. Friendly people.

Very relaxing, Quiet! Easy to access. My children loved it. It wasn't as clear as I thought but I still give it a 5star because it was the sand making it look that way. That's all.

Panama City Beach is absolutely perfect in every way. White sugary sand, well maintained and clean beaches, lots of fun filled activities and perfect water.

Raccoon River RV Park has camping, & full hookup RV spots. Big shady pines, 2 lg pools and clean restrooms. Only a short walk to the beach or the water park next door. Good rates.

We had never been to PCB before. We were fortunate in that we arrived on a Sunday night and left on a Thursday morning. The crowds were real small. It was easy getting everywhere we wanted to go. The beach was so incredible. Everything seemed clean. The crowds weren't too rowdy. I wouldn't come back here though. It had too much of a touristy feel to it. The restaurants we visited (though having decent reviews online), were mostly subpar for our taste. Definitely a great place for a family on a budget, but if you have more money to spend, I would pick elsewhere to spend your time.

I've traveled a lot, and the emerald green water and fluffy sand are like no other. We have also stayed in Destin and been like sardines on the beach. We couldn't drive anywhere due to the traffic and eating out...yeah even Chick Fil A took 45 minutes. After that bad experience, we decided to give Panama City Beach a try. We have been here in Oct 2022, February 2023 and March 23 during "Spring Break". No issues with traffic, restuarants or people. I think it is a rouse to keep people away, and I'm glad it didn't keep us away. Kids have been in swimming in the ocean each day. We did find some cool shells. We've seen rays and dolphins from our beach front condo. We will definitely be back.

We loved the beaches here. Clean and clear. Got some good snorkeling in. Whole family had fun, even me who's not much of a beach fan.

Beware of Blue Swell Rentals. Extremely disappointing experience. We stayed at Aqua during the week of Thanksgiving and two of the three balconies in our condo were closed as well as the large outdoor pool due to construction. We were not notified until days before our vacation that the construction âmightâ be happening. Blue Swell Rentals told us that weâd be on a refund review and did not get back to us after several contacts over a month and a half that they would not provide us with any refund at all. Very poor communication and ultimately false advertising since we did not get what we paid for. My family will NOT be returning to any of their properties.

We ended up staying at the Tidewater. The whole stay was great. Of course they're doing construction on front beach road as always but it wasn't a problem. A lot of security at the Tidewater and plenty of workers there to help and answer questions. The water was crystal clear and the weather was perfect.

The beach is vast and wide but has one main drawback, the sands are very white. With the brightness of Florida sun, the beach there is blinding even with sunglasses since one needs to take them off to swim. Unlike the beaches on the East Coast of Florida, the panhandle beach in Panama City is nice to see from the street while walking or driving by

Hundreds of people on the beach. Tents everywhere blocking views of the water. $50 a chair rental to stare at dozens of tent people. In the past, the resort was nice. Neighboring resorts have less people, better views. Panama Shores has entirely too many condos for rest and relaxation.

This is their offseason in January. There was still plenty to do. There were so many good restaurants that we went to. Neons had a roaring '20s party one night which was so much fun. We got dressed up and they had a live band and great food. They also had their Mardi Gras celebration at Pier Park. They had the street blocked off and had a parade and live bands. It was like a mini Mardi Gras. So much fun. They have a state park there on the Gulf or you can walk along the beach. The water is very tropical looking and plenty of beach to walk on.
The town was hit by a tropical winter storm and you could see some of the damage but many places are open and in full swing. I will go back.

This is a very overpriced place to go. You would think that $500 per night would get you a nice hotel and a beautiful beach. It wonât. You will get a motel like experience in a has been city. Lots of broken down, closed up shops and restaurants. Dirty. There is nothing to do in the area except go carts and mini golf. Having stayed at many beaches in Florida, I would recommend going somewhere else.

This is our 3rd year family vacation to PCB. It does not disappoint! The beaches are clean and beautiful. The weather is wonderful. There are options for teens to do things in the surrounding areas as well. Pretty much something for everyone whether you are a couple, or a family with children.

The beach was nice and good to take walks on. Lots of rain kept us from getting to do this very much during our week.

Unfortunately we traveled to PCB under poor weather conditions. So no swimming and the beach patrol was strict about staying out of the water, or $500 fine. The sand is soft and almost white, so not hot on feet.

I love this beach ! Is the clearest beach I visited. My and my family recommend 100%đ€©đđđI could said we like more than Destin.

Just beautiful and uncrowded after mid-October. The gulf side from AL & FL has some of the most beautiful white sands anywhere in the U.S. including Hawaii.

The beach was beautiful! There were so many fun things to do and great restaurants to eat. My family and I had a wonderful time!

Great miles of long beaches! A bit difficult to stop somewhere in between. There are just around the City Pier eateries on the beach. But the road to the County Pier is unique for beach runners

White sand.... free access...end of April not a lot of people on the beach...highly recommend going here!

Went Off Season for a friends 60th Birthday. What an awesome place. White Sand, Clear Water, great restaurants and attractions. Everything you need within blocks.

We stayed a week and the beach was always beautiful and well kept. Families enjoying it and no rowdy crowds.

It was a holiday weekend, and the beaches were very crowded. However, the beach near our rental was not as crowded and very nice. The beach was beautiful and the water was fine! Our children enjoyed it very much. Shelling is not as good as at other beaches I have been to, and there were no boardwalks in our area making it not accessible for the mobility challenged. Nonetheless, it is beautiful and a delighful experience.

Couple of days were cloudy but clear off in the afternoon. Beach was not crowded so you could enjoy watching to waves. Young people did run the roads in the evenings but the police were around to make sure everything stay family friendly.

Beautiful Beach and a great place to get done Rest and Relaxation. Many good choices for a stay over and dinner too usually in walking distance.

The whole family enjoyed our stay. The beaches are beautiful and clean. The water is so beautiful and clear. We swam everyday that we could. Rode the waves and tried snorkeling, the waves were a little too big for snorkeling that day. Boogie boards were loads of fun on the yellow and red flag days. Canât wait to go back again.

We didn't get to do everything we wanted as it was only a two night stay but we had a hotel room on the beach at Beachside Resort. The beach was beautiful, and at this time of year (November) it is about 65 to 70 degrees. It's also more affordable during the fallor winter. We also went bowling at Rockit Lanes. Shopping at Pier Park was fun. There would have been much more to do if we had the time. Love PC.

The beach is beautiful and white pristine sand! Would have rated 5 stars but there are NO LIFEGUARDS! This was both surprising and upsetting!

Absolutely lives up to its name, Emerald Coast! We have been here a few times and it is always as great experience from the accommodations, to the food, to the white sand beach!! đïž đđ„°

Absolutely beautiful beach! Clean and the water is so clear. No surprises from sea critters.
We will definitely rate this beach in our top five!

Good to go in May before the Summer crowds come in. Downside can be the congestion that occurs on Front Beach Road near Pier Park.

One of the best beaches in the United States! The sandy beach is very walkable and there are piers that offer incredible views of the water.
The beach has many vendors who offer beach chairs to rent for the day. The cost is $25. a chair for the day~ 9-5.
There are restaurants along the beach, as well as hotels and condominiums.
The beach is very family friendly and sand castle building is a fantastic way to pass the time.

I had an efficiency room with kitchenette and walk in shower, directly beach front with my dog, next door was son and daughter in law in an efficiency, and next door to them was grandson & wife and the 4 children ages 2 - 8 in 1 bedroom unit with 3 queens and again beach front. 1 outdoor pool with great covered slide just out back door. Great play ground in sand on way to beach. On site Ice Cream Shop, Tiki Bar and full restaurant. Kids said best vacation ever. They had a great time at the Polynesian Show and 2 got up on stage. Staff were so nice and maintenance was very efficient. I couldnât physically lock the deadbolt and they completely replaced it immediately after I mentioned and did a perfect and permanent job. This is my go to place with kids and dog.

My favorite beach to visit. The water and sand is beautiful, and there are so many fun things to do nearby! We will be back time and time again!

it looks a bit like Hawaii style, beautiful city, clean, calm, everything is in walking distance, good shops and restaurants, amazing beach

This is the ultimate beach vacation experience!! The water was emerald green and the beaches were white sand and clean. The weather was perfect- even the cloudy days. My family loved it and we will be returning. Don't miss our on this spot!! Beautiful!!

The beaches are awesome, but the riptide warnings keep us out of the water and even after the National weather service ended the rip tide warning , pcb continued not letting people in the water and their beach patrol harassed the tourist not stop with there yelling and Sirens blaring

Been here 5 days and have been blocked from wading in the ocean. I donât think these locals know what rough surf is and I donât think they respect tourists. If the authorities block the beach goers from entering into the ocean then tourists will spend more money in town. Win win for Panama City beach. Donât come here. Itâs been a waste of thousands in traveling expenses and wasted my vacation days from work. All for a good view of the ocean but we canât swim, we canât boogie board we canât even wade. The surf is just so rough that we canât even safely wade. I can go to restaurant, bar, water park at home for lower prices.

We loved being at the beach at the end of May. Definitely recommend this as a vacation spot. Weather was beautiful!

I am a local and I love our Panama City Beach. But I do not love the vacation people and how they feel so entitled to these rental chairs and how much money they spend on our beach. We are all entitled to the same amount of enjoyment on a public beach. You vacation people are not the only people that matters you are not bigger and better than everybody else. Get your panties out of a wad and realize there is no law stating you cannot set up in front of the rental chairs. It is selfish disrespectful and big entitlement that you people feel so entitled that you think your money and your rental chairs your condos you rent own our public beach! Locals and vacation people are all entitled to the same enjoyment on our local beach. Stop coming on vacation and going on Facebook groups making comments like you're so entitled and you own our local Beach. You people treat us locals like we're peasants in our own town. Go somewhere else for vacation and see how you get treated going somewhere else telling those people you own their place SMH

Winter temperatures this week in PCB but we enjoyed the fact that there are no crowds and prices are great!! We arenât beach and sun worshippers, we just want to see and hear the ocean.
With an oceanfront room we enjoyed every minute of our four day stay.
Donât forget to visit Pier Park! Rent a golf cart and zip around town. Lots of things to do even though the weather is not cooperating.

We went down to the beach across from Pompano Joes beside the boardwalk. It was clean and the water was blue green like always. I love it here!

What a place, so much to do and so little time even staying a week may not be long enough. Expect to do thing and see things you have never done before.

We stayed at the Aqua Vista condos. The beach and area around were gorgeous and very peaceful. Not too many people out on the beach anytime during the day so it was very relaxing. Water was so nice ...warm enough and great for swimming...shallow and very sandy bottom. All good!

Love, Love, Love to visit PCB. White sand, warm clear water, Just so much fun and relaxation. It is my "go to" for just letting go.

White sand, continuous chances to find sea shells and beautiful waters make this beach hard to leave.

Great beach to take a walk on. Easy access from the road. There are a lot of public access walkways between the homes. Very clean beach.

This one of the biggest, whitest sand beaches that I have ever seen. It definitely rivals Siesta Key and Sanibel beaches. There is a dog-friendly beach w âdoo-dooâ bag dispensers near Pier Park. It is a long walk to get to where the water meets the beach, but it is worth the effort. They even have âdoo-dooâ bag dispensers and waste receptacles at convenient intervals along the main sidewalks.
There is a nice sea-side eatery called Hookâd at the pier where u can get chips and salsa for around $5. Even the mixed seafood platter with fries was only $26. It contained grouper which is usually quite expensive. There was enough food for the two of us. We went there to eat 5 times after spending big bucks at several highly recommended restaurants, only to be sorely disappointed.

Most beautiful beach in the world! We stayed at the Hyatt Place in Panama City Beach. They were fantastic!! I would definitely recommend a stay.

Went to Paula Dean's in Panama City Beach and it was fantastic. The waitress, Tammy, was perfect. Food was delicious. Service was excellent.

PCB has a beachy vibe and I love it.
But this survey is bs. Iâve been to every beach on the Florida Panhandle from PCB to Pensacola Beach. Several times to some. Thereâs NO WAY a legitimate survey could list all these beaches and Miramar & Destin not be on it at all!!! Nor Ft Walton Beach?? Come on!!

One of the many Panhandle beach options worth a look.Lots of entertainment, dining & accommodations to choose from.If you like choices & a busy beach town that has white sand ,this makes for a great stop.

We have been coming here since 2010. The area used to be five stars but now the area is building up and getting very crowded. It slowly losing it's charm. We still likeit, but not as much.

Beautiful clean beaches. Our condo had an excellent ocean view. The condo had a lovely beach feeling and decor. Lots of local area attractions.

Beautiful beach! A little crowded in places but it was first week of spring break. Would go back during a time not a bunch of college kids there. Over all it wasnât to bad.

This beach is trash. If you wanna come down and lay out and walk the beach for a day great but I donât recommend staying here. I havenât seen one person with a touch of glass since I have been in this whole area. Unfortunately, itâs going the way of Virginia Beach and if you know what I mean, you know what I mean.

we are in a condo right on the beach and the water is so clear you can see jelly fish, sea urchins and dolphins

The white sand beach is beautiful and the water is clear. This beach is everything and then some and the shelling isn't bad either.

Until Mayor Brudnicki or others in local/state government do something about the HORRIBLE SMELL coming from the WestRock paper mill, I wouldn't consider moving or visiting this place. It is completely unacceptable to allow that kind of air and water pollution in this day and age. It doesn't matter that the plant has been there for decades; get a clue that it's DRIVING PEOPLE AWAY!! Disgusting

PCB has beautiful white sand on its large beach area & crystal clear water. There are lots of places to stay with balconies that offer a breathtaking view, especially at sunrise & sunset. PCB also has many other activities for the whole family plus great food & shopping.

A place where your cares wash away on warm ocean breezes. Sink your toes into the soft white sands and enjoy all that this tropical oasis offers.

The water is gorgeous. The red tide has passed. The dredging operation is in front of Pineapple Willieâs and the old Club LaVela. That section of beach you will want to avoid obviously.

Panama City Beach is a very nice, white sand beach with clear, warm water. The seas are fairly calm so it's easy to enjoy the water. The area itself is pretty congested with hotels/restaurants/bars. We were there mid week in late September so it wasn't too bad. I would think that crowds would be an issue at busier times.

The water was cool in April, but pretty nonetheless. Great spot for a getaway but many people are no longer wearing masks.

Our hotel was right on the Gulf of Mexico. Amazing to watch the sunrises and sunsets. The beach was never super crowded but it was busy. There is a booth right in front of the hotel (not owned by Hampton) where you can rent the beach chaise lounge chairs (comes in pairs) and with an umbrella. The workers will move them for you. They also rent jet skis, rides on the banana boats and parasailing. It was fun watching the young people ride these items.

Beaches are sandy white and clean. The is so clear water. Saw a lot of stingray floating by. I will definitely be back.

Beautiful beach! Sadly the weather and rip currents were bad this time so we werenât able to enjoy the beach like we wanted to and wasnât as beautiful as usual. Hopefully next time will be better.

We were there at 6pm and the traffic was horrible. Our hotel (Radisson) fell through, a whole other story. My bad for thinking this would be like Destin or Fort Walton Beach where the beach is amazing, clean and quiet. We did eat dinner at a great Thai restaurant and took pictures of water before turning around and figuring out Plan B.

Hubby, , teen son, and I drove down to PCB from northern Michigan earlier this month. Our first time staying in the Florida panhandle. Spent total of 5 days and 6 nights here. Rented an amazing beachfront condo through Airbnb - Rm 1301 in the TidewaterBeach Resort. Our first full day in PCB we lazily got up and around and headed down to the beach with our chairs we brought after we ate lunch. It was breezy but only one red warning flag posted so we could go into the gulf and swim, etc. without being fined. The rental chairs on the beach cost $50/hr! So glad we brought our own. We walked each direction on the beach alternating days, one of our highlights. Unfortunately the weather wasnât on our side after that day. The winds called for double red flags so no swimming in the ocean. The 2 outdoor pools are each on the side of the 39 story resort and the chairs there didnât come out these days due to wind and storms. There were tornado watches as well. The temps here were in the 70âs the week before ours but in the 60âs and cooler while we were here. It made for cooler temps when the it rained because of the wind but we still did our beach walks. One silver lining was the resorts did not rake their beachfronts so we found a very few little whole shells! Another goal of ours. We thought there would be way more. We had reserved a full day mid week for a pontoon boat to cruise around St. Andrewâs Bay. On our first day in PCB, I noticed the weather was not looking good for outdoor stuff so I called Beachy Boat Rentals who kindly changed our reservation to Friday, our last day there. Hubby Eric has a lot of experience operating various types of boats so we did ok crossing a large part of the bay to get to Shell Island and we collected a few more shells, but they were far and few between even there. We ended up heading back to the marina a few hours early as it was so choppy, we were getting really wet and cold. And weâre tough and used to cold weather/water. It was beautiful! We ate dinner out every evening and really liked a few of the restaurants for their seafood, reasonable prices, and atmosphere: Dustyâs, Sharkeyâs, Hookâd, and Margaritaville. There are many places to eat here! There are also a few decent grocery stores nearby. There are several places where you can access the beach if you arenât staying on it. Pier Park is a nice and safe and clean shopping area across the main beach road, Front Beach, and you can either park to the west of Pier Park in the big lot, or take a shot at pulling into a parallel spot along the road, beachside. We did both. There are several little shops and restaurants in Pier Park, and a large Ferris wheel and other activities. Very touristy. Itâs across Front Beach from the long pier which we walked out on to the first evening. Hubby got to check out just how they were fishing, etc. He went fishing there the next day with his wagon (we brought from home) full of supplies but he didnât bring his fillet knife! So the 3 x 22â Bluefish he caught he gave to others!!! Oh well. He had a nice time, and thatâs when my son and I shopped Pier Park. While March is the big Spring Break month, April isnât so much so it wasnât packed, not lots of traffic, hardly any noise and partying (yep, Iâm getting old! Been there, done that!). Overall, Iâd go back again and would hope to have better weather. There are lots of things to do for families with small kids, we noticed.

Though a tropical storm was rolling in, the beach was alive as usual. Clean safe beach with lots of access points, just look for the numbers.

Walked out of our condo and we were on the beach. The water and sand was very clean and the water was warm. We all had a great time swimming and playing in the sand. Great time. Their time we have been to this area.

Not dog friendly. People are not welcome to service animals. No hotels allow dogs without asking your disability. Why do u need a dog? Stupid place. Stupid people. So sad I couldnât enjoy the emerald coast because my service dog isnât welcome in many places that say and advertise dog friendly⊠I was asked my reason for a service animal over and over.

What a great beach ! Love the pool bar ! Chair service is great ! Our condo was at Long Beach Resort ! Awesome !

The clear water & white powder sand was wonderful! Love PCB! A very relaxing vacation for the whole family to enjoy.

Nice beach. We stayed at Edgewater with an ocean view. The beach is cleaned every morning around 7. Condo/Motels have a lot of the area covered in chair and umbrella rentals. We went down to the beach area around 7:30 to set up our spots and walk the beach. Our first day was perfect (Wed). On Thurs morning we did the same thing. Around 9:30 another couple and teenage son came and set up right in front of us! They were extremely rude. Hello, get your ass out of bed like we did! We were in beach chairs, no umbrellas. They had their chairs and umbrellas and completely blocked us. In addition the woman was smoking with no regards to anyone else. We were right up at the waters edge, allowing people room to walk by. No shells were present. Its definitely not an area to find shells. We did see a lot of cigarette butts.

That white sand, clear turquoise water and unbelievable sunsets never disappoint!
Still my favorite beach in Florida! The people are great, there is so kuc

Beautifully clean beach, and the water was true-blue and as clear as bath-water. There were barely any waves at all. It looked almost like a lake. I am handicapped, and even I was able to walk out to the second beach without falling or being knocked down by waves.

We had a wonderful time staying in a condo in PCB last week. Woke up every morning at 5am to enjoy coffee on our balcony with the only sound being the waves. Around 6 we'd get dressed and walk a mile or 2 along the beach finding shells and watching the birds. They were dredging not far from where we were staying. And yes jets fly by but it's hardly terrifying! Beautiful sunrise and sunset a couple days (cloudy on others). Talked to a few really nice people also walking/relaxing on the beach. Now back in MN and miss the beach and sunshine! Absolutely recommend going in November.

This is a must see area. Once you cross the bridge you are in haven. US - 98 west will take you all the way down through Panama City, Destin and Fort Walton Beach. In that journey I recommend you stop by Diego Mexican restaurant and Rudyâs barbecue place. Great food and service. You will not be disappointed. Also, check out Pier Park is amazing. You can spend a hold day there. Itâs filled with restaurants, Shops amusement park and boardwalk to see the sunrise and sunset. Destin is your Emerald Coastline. Beautiful beaches restaurants, shops etc. Fort Walton beach has some really nice parks to visit like John C. Beasley has black history and Living Shoreline park offer a dog park for furry felins. There is a nice restaurant in Fort Walton called Slim Chicken you should try out. I just enjoyed my trip and will most definitely return because it is so much still to see.

Fun place. Stuff to do for everyone but would like to see more places to lock up a bicycle near restaurants/shops and an easier way to find dog friendly places. Maybe a paw on advertisements and on front windows or something. Maybe some side roads, the Main Street was a pain to get around in at night with all the traffic

Donât get me wrong. The beach is beautiful and the city overall is great. Lots of skunk weed smokers. We decided to store our camper at a facility on Thomas Drive. They sold our camper without telling us. Took us months to get it back. Do NOT recommend the campground at that location.

Amazing family time with wonderfully entertainment! We met as a party of 6 with teenagers, sea food lovers and non sea food lovers! Staff was all masked and distanced pretty good! Servers were quick and attentive! Cannot recommend highly enough!

Beautiful beaches with a lot to see and do. Just know that it is very busy during certain times of the year.

I really donât understand the bad reviews abt PCB I mean itâs a beach what do u expect a nice place I mean yea but still the beach has became more shellyer (thatâs not a word lol) anyways thatâs ok I do recommend wearing flip flops so the shells wonât dig in your feet the ocean is nice just know that there may be jellyfish when I went there was there should have been the purple flag out but whatever anyways I hope that there will be more good reviews abt PCB bc well itâs a nice beach but I mean like come on people PCB says to only leave your footprints on the beach not trash I really donât like when ppl littler and it makes it worse bc itâs on the beach I mean littlering is already bad but come on the beach bro really? Like put your trash in the trash no the sand nor beach also check out Alvinâs island there good store :)

The beach is beautiful. But access to the beach could be better. Unless you are staying in a hotel on the beach, you have to find access points and parking. They do an awesome job of letting you know the conditions of the water. I did notice a bit of trash floating in the water.

Gorgeous water, sugar soft sand and lots of nice people make PCB a very special place indeed. On our first visit here we were lucky enough to see a manta ray jump out of the water. Our second visit, we were eating at Harpoon Harry's, and people were gathering on the beach. A fever of stingrays was right near shore. It was an awesome experience!

The PCB emerald water was so beautiful. It was also very warm to be in. The sand on PCB was so soft and pretty white in color.

BEST Beach in the United States, Highly recommend for anyone wanting lots of Sun and Fun !
The Water is A beautiful Emerald Green and a Must See.

Our first visit to this wonderful city, great beaches , restaurants and surrounding adventures. Highly recommend excellent vacation site or consideration to becoming a resident .

The beach is very nice. The water is clear and pretty and the sand is white. The town itself is crowded with hotels and restaurants. The traffic is bad. The restaurants prices are too high. I would not go back there if I was looking for a nice beach experience. We went in mid-October but I felt like something I would expect in the summer during prime tourist season.

I love this beach. We have two homes at PCB, and while there's definitely times of year where it can be a little rowdy, it's overall still a family-friendly place. Going in early May and October are some of my favorite times to go. The weather is perfect and the crowds haven't come in yet. Easy access to Rosemary and 30A shopping and dining if you want to move away from the more tourist-y stuff.

This is a lovely beach to enjoy with family, friends and kids. The white sand beach is such a pleasure to walk and feel between the toes. The beach is clean, Lots of beach chairs and umbrellas are available. We were a family of 10 - aged from age 3 to age 78 and all of us had fun. The kids had a swell time playing football and frisbee on the beach. We built sand castles galore. The beach is quite shallow and optimal for even little kids - and the color of the water is magical - no wonder they call it emerald coast. Highly recommended.
PS: it is extremely crowded and does get more crowded as the day goes on,. We went by 9 AM and were able to enjoy some quite time till about 10:15 after which the crowds start trickling in., We accessed the beach right behind Pineapple Willys.

Beautiful, clean beach with white sand & a few shells. The sunsets are amazing as it sets in the water. There are many restaurants & shops within walking distance of most hotels. The Holiday Inn Express was on the beach with great amenities & a fabulous breakfast. Hotel staff was friendly & the rooms are clean & spacious

By far one of the best beaches I have ever been to. Really wide white sand and goes on forever. Love the view.

The water was clear and calm. Absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to return next yr. Barefoot Hideaway Grill is a must visit for all.

We stayed two nights at Casa Loma in Panama City Beach in May. The sand was white and nice. The beach had seaweed. We swam without issues. The sunset was beautiful.

The beach is pretty but there is a lot of trash and seaweed. No one cleans up. The restaurants all have 2.5 hour wait for dinner no matter what time you arrive. No one takes reservations and no one cares about service because there are 100 people in line behind you who donât care about how they are treated.
I would love to run a restaurant where I can just not care. I mean dang, really? Redirect peopleâs time. Let me make a reservation for goodness sake.

This is one of the cleanest beaches I've ever been to! There was garbage pick up every day, we saw a tractor with some sort of "sifter" going down the beach cleaning up debre.

so nice to be at the beach with my lady. clean and quiet when it should be and populated when it should be.

Such a beautiful place to see.
On the strip... Panama City Beach,Florida This place is a nice getaway even for a quick day trip. Plenty to see eat with all the main attractions. The best cleanest white sand, drinks and hotel lodging close to the pier right off the beach.

Beautiful water, but absolutely no real beach access. If your going for the beautiful white beaches like Panama City Beach, Destin etc don't waster your time. It is strictly for fishing, diving, snorkling or parting. There are some beautiful old homes, but they are sitting on top of each other. If we would have gotten there early in the morning, we could have gotten everything we wanted to do in 1 day, no more than 2 days. We can say this is a one and done. Although, they strawberry key lime pie dipped in dark chocolate was absolutely amazing.

Brilliant hotel with lovely view over the sea The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was provided but very limited and the area to sit in was very small. Better to take it away and eat in your room

We had a wonderful time in Panama City Beach lots of things to see and do, things were a little over price due to Spring break but overall, a lot of fun.

We had great stay in Panama City Beach for Easter Weekend. The weather was absolutely perfect. It was so relaxing on the beach. Such a beautiful place. I would highly recommend the jet ski dolphin tour to shell island with Sunshine Watersports of PC. Our kids loved it ages 12 & 13, they had so much fun. This was our best experience in Panama City Beach. Be sure check them out. Had a great stay for Easter weekend

Be sure and stay along the gulf Beach front. Some of the hotels are rather old but a number of really nice ones. The water is clear and amazing to watch
Love it here!
Beautiful beaches. High energy and lots to see and do. Numerous restaurants, mini golf, beach shops and more! It's not just for spring break.
