Clean and fun!

By Lori S |

Great mix of restaurant, bars, shops and galleries. Nice place to walk around and spend a few hours. Pricey for almost all restaurants.

Old American Street

By paullamar69 |

We spent around three hours walking down the historical street in Park City. From my point of view it looks like an old american street...they did a very nice job with the restoration and conservation. Nice quality time!

A cross between an Alaska port-of-call and Gatlinburg

By Ron |

Overpriced, crowded, full of silly and needless trinkets, but some gems buried here and there as well. Somewhere between the $12,000 fur coats and the overpriced polished rocks is a good experience if you roll with it and just enjoy it for what it is. We picked up a pair of jeans for $15, and enjoyed two hours of wondering how many people buy animal skins and furs these days. Park City seems to be the epicenter for the fur and animal skin trade in these parts. “Since 1872,” the sign proudly proclaims. Some good (and overpriced) food and drink along the way, but you probably expected as much, didn’t you? It’s easy to spend 2-4 hours on the Main Street, and a devoted shopper could spend a day or two in the art and jewelry stores. The Pando Store alone looked fascinating if that sort of art is your thing. Something for nearly everyone, but this is not a place to find many bargains.

So much to do!

By RoadTripper5 |

Although the store fronts are constantly changing, it's still a must see for visitors. There are lots of art galleries, restaurants, bars, clothing stores, jewelry stores and unique shops. Currently there's a blend of old of new. A trip to the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for gourmet caramel apples is a must. And connected to it is Dolly's Bookstore, a fantastic place for book lovers and gift seekers. Also further up the street is a special ice cream and coffee shop - Java Cow, which has held it's own on Main St for decades. The historic Egyptian Theater is also a must see and offers all kinds of entertainment - not a bad seat in the house! At night there are all kinds of lights making the setting magical. Don't skip Main St. if you're in Park City!

Very Nice, but Expensive

By Eric Bedenbaugh |

Very affluent area and the prices reflect it. 400 dollars for cowboy hat? The shops were nice and we ate at The Eating Establishment which was good, but nothing extraordinary.

Park City Utah in the Summer

By maryboggstx |

We visited in August and didn't have to deal with that pesky snow! haha! Lots of great art shops, restaurants and a museum in the area - as well as the famous theater that hosts the Sundance Film Festival. Be sure to take the ski lift up just for the sheer joy of seeing the mountains and town from up high!

Must see

By Melissa H |

If you visit Park City, you must walk down historic Main Street. It is perfectly charming with great shopping and restaurants. Walking down Main Street you can just imagine pioneers and cowboys. Today there are many restaurants, shopping and coffee shops. We were a bit disappointed not to find the perfect place for dessert but we found many other charming shops mixed in with standard outdoor clothing stores.

Weekend Getaway

By Rick-Rozzi |

Came up to Utah from Texas to run the Cottonwood Marathon. After our race on Saturday, we drove up to Park City for the day on Sunday. Lovely ski town with a vibrant Main Street with plenty of shops and restaurants. Also at the end of Main Street was an event called Silly Sundays, where outdoor vendors set up and sell crafts, food, drinks etc. as well as a live band. We enjoyed to shops that were selling works from local artisans. There is plenty of parking that you pay by the hour, but you should be able to find one that charges a max daily rate of only $18 to $20. When we travel, we love to visit small quaint downtown's that have an unique style like this town

Great experience!

By boosgrandma |

Walking up and down historic Main in Park City is always an adventure. So many quaint shops and galleries! You never get bored, the time flies and soon it's time for dinner at one of the many fine restaurants!

Quaint

By rod1701 |

Odd mix of old and new. Dined in several restaurants, took the free trolley, and did some shopping. Shopping was hit or miss as several shops didn’t open until after thanksgiving.

Parking as tough but we took the bus and trolley.

April end of ski season visit for girls weekend

By PatriceSutherland |

No crowds, beautiful house for off season prices, everything still open. Visited No Name Saloon, Tikila Restaurant, Aura spa, St. Regis for breakfast—no crowds and perfect weather. Quick ride from SLC airport.

Overnight stays with my granddaughters

By Bonnie M |

Chocolate Factory & Book Store...Whenever we stay in Park City we drive through the Main Street Historic District with our main stop at the Chocolate Factory for Candy Apples and Ice Cream in Waffle Cones... There are dozens of flavors of candied apples and the waffle cones come in lots of flavors with a big choice of ice cream to go in them. Then we go to the back of the store to a quaint little book store!!!

Tourist area with shopping and restaurants

By robinbeam |

This is a lovely area with many shops and restaurants. It is fairly expensive. This is where the Sundance Film Festival is held in February. You can take ski lifts up into the mountains from Main Street.

Quant "downtown" with botique shops and national retailers. Many restraunts to choose from.

By Computer0101 |

We were there in August '18, and enjoyed just walking around and visiting the various shops. Most of the shop keepers were friendly and helpful.
Parking was a different story. Know the various parking lots and options. There are lots that are free until 5:00pm others are $2.50+ per hour. Street parking on Main is the most expensive at around $4.00 per hour.

If you have the time while in Park City, make sure to spend some of it on Main Street.

Beautiful Classic Street

By Bruno B |

This street looks a classic movie street. It's so beautiful and cozy. I had felt very good there. I love PC.

Modern Old West

By fanfom19 |

We loved Main Street, the look and the feel were exactly what we needed after a few days in SLC. Some great shops especially the Indian Trading store. It’s probably very kitch but like nothing we have in AUST. Didn’t understand what all the galleries were for, but maybe we were the wrong economic group they were appealing too.

Lovely Main Street

By Ccari01 |

Park City Historic District is a lovely street with plenty of shops, restaurants, art galleries with beautiful Mountain Views. It is what I imagined a Western Main Street would look like.

Ever Growing Downtown

By Stephen S |

Had been here years ago. Actually our 4th visit and we were downtown for the Sunday Arts and Foods Fair. Neat seeing all the artisans and some artists showing their wares. Had a nice lunch and walked the streets and shops on a very busy day. Not as user friendly as it used to be. Has grown and town is not as kind and cozy as it once was..

Fun Place To Walk

By Mark P |

There is a movie set quality to Main Street, as it almost does not look real. Once you get past that, it offers a pleasant place to walk among good bars, restaurants and shops. At least off season, there is plenty of nearby parking.

needs upgrading

By ebdeervalley |

the store need upgrading to fit the town ...the rents have gone ski high and soon we will only have chain stores on the streets ...the city needs to improve the infrastructure

Fun place to shop

By Cindy C |

The usual ski tourist shopping. Quaint main street. Nice high end shops and lots of t-shirt shops too. I'd be happy to spend a couple of hours on any visit

Historic Main Street and Park Ave are rich in history

By ostrich84 |

If you love historical buildings this is the place! Main street as well as Park Avenue have so many historically intact and well taken care of homes and businesses. Park City has a society dedicated to the preservation of the historic building and they are doing a grand job! You may see ribbons hanging from the fronts of homes and buildings and those are structures that have won awards for their preservation. Main Street has many eating options and many more art galleries as well as a theater, comedy club, and music halls with live bands etc. If you want to step back in time, take the time to wonder down these two roads. Keep in mind the sidewalks are not flat as with any older town and it's not flat...you are in the mountains after all. Main Street has numerous well maintained public restrooms along it and Park Avenue has a City Park with a public restroom as well as the Miners Hospital Community Center which is a grand historical building itself.

Gazing is still FREE date

By ProsperityHabit |

This is a cute hike and worth seeing the famous Park City, where all the fancy people play. It is a mixture of old and new, and the mountain view is always a plus. It is a steep incline and you will want to stroll. Exercise is fun for all ages.

I write reviews specifically for people like you to spend more time out on dates with people they love. I have another several other nearby local secret spots that you will want to check out so look at my other reviews.

This stroll is great with tweens, teens, friends, and couples.

Very quaint and historic

By BajaBenson |

It is fun to walk down one side and up the other. The shops are nice as are the restaurants. The only downside is that you have to pay for parking.

Neat Town with Free Parking Until 5 pm

By Oskarduck |

Neat town with lots of higher end touristy shops. Parking was odd to me - free until 5 pm. Scenery is good and it is fun to walk around a nice town.

Few Places to Park in Park City

By takemewithu28 |

This is a very crowded and narrow thoroughfare. Do not drive down it, if possible. Stick to public transportation, which is abundant, free and an easy alternative. Numerous art galleries, a good (but not amazing) bookstore, a chocolate shop, a LuLu Lemon, standard restaurants/bars -- a nice variety of stores in historic-looking buildings but nothing with that "Wow!" factor. Perhaps it was because I was there on a grey winter day.that the street didn't excite. Maybe sunshine would have elevated my rating of this old Main Street. Whatever the reason, as I walked from store to store, I was underwhelmed. Pleasantly missing from the storefronts were banks and real estate companies -- which seem to inhabit tons of retail space in many tourist communities these days. Though I would have enjoyed the opportunity to window shop housing prices in the area -- one of the nice things about a real estate office being on a main street. The area is fine but visiting it once is enough for me.

Park City Main Street

By TeamTangerines |

This is the cutest Main Street filled with lots of great eating options, art and shopping. This is a great place to stroll around and just take in the beautiful scenery and picturesque small town.

Lots of Great Shops and Restaurants

By David P |

We visited during Covid-time, so didn't get the whole experience. We enjoyed it, however. There are lots of shops and restaurants, including some unique ones. After hopping into several shops while strolling the street (all in masks), we had breakfast for lunch at the Bridge Cafe and Grill, sitting outside. My wife would love to come back, after Covid, and spend a whole day strolling the street and going into the many, many shops.

Park City Historic Main Street has it all

By DavefromUtah |

Park City Main Street has just about anything you are looking for. Art galleries, pub and grub, fashion shops, souvenirs, western shop, indoor and outside eateries of all types. Park City is a very dog friendly place. You see people and their dogs all the time. Shop owners put water dishes out for our four legged companions. A trolley (bus) passes up or down main street about every 10 minutes and will pick you up or drop you off anywhere you like.

old west charm with great eateries and shops

By Kaydub |

We've been to lots of ski towns, and Park City Main street is just the best. Great shopping, dining, and just looking around.

Walking town after hiking

By t j |

Quaint town. More upscale than most tourist areas. Some really unique and quaint shops. We loved the socks store. They had every style and logo you could think of. I bought a 5 toe sock for my adult son as a stocking stuffer. Wish I could have bought more but unfortunately I have plenty at home. It’s a great free activity to do.

Expensive Parking, Expensive Shops

By Bigredmachine |

Park City Historic Main Street seems to be very popular with tourists who cram the street and restaurants, but frankly, I’m not a fan. Parking is expensive (at least $5 per hour), and unless your looking for expensive art, antiques or furs, they have little else of interest.

Great

By James B |

Great place to visit especially during Park Silly. Lots of people and lots of fun. Great food, entertainment, and shopping. Loved it.

Highly recommend

By Alison A |

This is a great area to spend the day walking around shopping, eating an drinking at the various restaurants. Expect to pay a little higher than average for things in this area.

Cute area

By drabounasr |

Nice area to walk around in with restaurants and shops. Cute little village. Easy to find parking. Free trolley. Nice views.

Arts Festival

By QueenFun |

Was lucky enough to be there during the arts festival, although the merchandise was extremely pricey, it was beautiful and I enjoyed the music and different vendors.

Restaurants, Art Shops and more Shops

By Bob S |

Park City is a town that reminds you of how all towns were in the 1950-1960's. The only downside is parking. You may have to walk a long way. The city does have parking decks which is a plus.

What a nice town to visit at christmas time.

By B Family |

No true words to describe how cool or awesome this town truly is. If your an east coast skier you have never experienced anything like it. Must go to main street especially at christmas time.

Fun to explore

By Lisa S |

Park City Main Street is fun to explore with lots of shops, restaurants and things to see. Great way to spend an afternoon or evening with family and friends.

Summer Trip 2018

By Debra A |

We visited numerous states but our stay in Utah was wonderful. Park Cities was a great place to shop, sight see and eat. Main St. was a very quaint place with beautiful mountains in the background.

Don’t Go Too Early!

By Alix |

We stopped to shop around 9:45 am, and parked. We began to walk the beautiful, downtown streets, ready to spend some money at locally-owned businesses. We found many stores didn’t open until 11:00 am, and some that were closed the day we tried to visit (Tuesday). The shopping experience was disappointing to us, but I must give Park City credit…they have really made their old downtown area beautiful! Sadly, our travels might not bring us back this way again, so I feel like we really missed out

Pretty Historic District

By HNBISOFF |

The Park City Main Street Historic District has a lot of shopping opportunities as well as restaurants. The history is rich and interesting. A very easy stroll, the District can be covered in 1 day.

Main Street defines shopping in Park City

By PamRoad |

Main Street is one of the best mountain town shopping streets I have ever seen. It offers every kind of shopping imaginable and lots of restaurants and great snack and coffee shops. Surrounded by mountains, the setting is absolutely beautiful. The street is gently sloping, so walking the whole street is easy and enjoyable.

Few better eating and shopping streets in America

By Ken V |

Park City Main Street has the unique combination of new with old, shopping with eating, eating with drinking and for all ages and all seasons. Parking is the only challenge. See a spot take it - the walk is not bad and adds to the enjoyment.

Great place to walk around and explore!

By Adinda V |

A beautiful place to visit. Even though the buildings are restored, you definitely get the old mining town feeling when walking up and down this Main Street. There are plenty of shops and restaurants. You won’t go hungry!

Stop for the day.

By sdgibsonlp62 |

We were staying in Salt Lake City and had some spare time so when up to Park City for the day. So glad we did what a beautiful and easy town to get around in. Parking is very easy if you want to go to Main Street. There are number of parking spots along the streets as well as some parking ramps a block off. There are wonderful bars restaurants and shops. A great place to people-watch and beautiful outdoor scenery. I would like to go back and actually spend a few days.

Old street with many small shops

By Dani Z |

good for picture-taken. wear hats/gloves is a Must when visited in Winter Dec - Jan. some shops close in later afternoon when we visited during Christmas week. Street is uphills so kind of climbing-requirements, seniors older than 75 may not be able to walk very long along street. Some shops have antique decoration in front.

A little something for everyone

By bethanynd |

There’s a lot to like in downtown Park City- shops, food, chair lift, bars and galleries. We were stayed 2 nights and found the area to be very walkable, safe and clean. Silly Sunday closes Main Street to traffic for vendors or sell art, jewelry, food and much more. Overall vibe is laidback and was not overly crowded for a summer weekend.

Must visit!

By jillsohan |

Love love everything about PC! Main Street has the greatest shops. Restaurants. Cafes and bars. Really enjoy being here love the vibe. Love the locals. Love PC

You didn't come all this way to miss it?

By Jeff S |

It's worth seeing at least once. Might be too much retail for some folks, but there are bars and restaurants for just about any budget. Street parking was surprisingly available on the Sunday Afternoon we were there, but I hit the free lots off the top of the street.

Summer vacation

By JohnKliestik |

We visited Park City for the first time and it just happened that it was in beginning of Summer. Its really nice and clean town with lots of little stores and bars and places to eat.I really can’t say anything bad about this place.I just wish we could come back in winter for skiing.

Make Main Street your Main Chick

By NME |

Staying in Midway, we heard a lot about Main St in Park City. Bars, restaurants, boutiques & more. The Famous Egyptian theater is there so make sure to get a picture. My highlight is a framed Banksy on the side of a building. We unfortunately did not eat on Main st. We grabbed a bite at nearby Fuego which I highly recommend but grab ice cream, regardless of the weather, at Rocky Mountain! It’s beautiful at night there so make sure to visit Main St day and night. We were there on a busy Friday night but easily found parking.

Annual Ski Holiday

By Marie Neal |

One of the reasons we love skiing at Park City is because we can visit Main Street, which is full of shops, restaurants, coffee houses, bars and history. Really worth a visit and if you have time go to the Museum.

Park City paradise

By Richard F |

Like stepping back in time and unwinding! Great place to relax! Great shops, great walking in town, awesome food!

Wandering takes a couple hours

By RealTySharpe Travel |

Firstly it's a steady incline up one side and down the other, nestled in around 7000 ft, so be warned not for everyone. A good mix of stores and restaurants that can take a couple hours to wander around.

Nice Strolling Area

By James |

If you can avoid the crowds it's pretty comfortable. Bar stools are a premium at happy hour. Nice shops and not to be missed Banksy art.

Not as much to do as we expected

By EurfirstIm2nd |

Planned a small family reunion in Park City with the hope there were activities we could enjoy at our varied ages, but rain and prices limited what we did. Hotel prices were reasonable, restaurants off Main Street were fairly priced and one was great, but the summer activities at the resort were expensive when compared to similar activities in Calgary, Whistler, Telluride, or even Chamonix. I was expecting a place like Telluride or Whistler but it seemed like the main activities on a summer day was gallery visiting and shopping, and a number of the storefronts downtown were empty.

If you don’t like shopping then don’t go

By chiggers h |

My wife and I walked the both sides of Main Street. If you don’t like shopping or expensive restaurants, Main Street will not be the highlight of your trip. I did Main Street once but will not go back. It is interesting to me, on the plane ride home I sat next to a young woman who expressed to me the great pleasure she had going to Main Street.

Cowboy Silver Mining Town

By Michael W |

Park City is an excellent Historic Silver Mining Town at over 7000 feet, also one of the Resorts for the 2002 Winter Olympics. The Main Street has many interesting shops and eating places and nearby the Olympic Park.

We bought a number of Turqoise gifts momentoes at the Indian Traders Shop and Pearl gifts from the modern pearl shop . We visited Park City in 2004 & 2010. It is one of our favourite places and well worth a visit.

Absolutely A Picture From a Dream

By 43marciay |

Historic Main Street is one of the Most Quaint streets i've seen in a long time, it as if you were in parts of Germany. If this was not perfect enough there was a street fair when I visited on September 10th and I actually met the author Katie Mullaly. Wow what an inspiring lady. Her books are for every age group not just children ...I got them in the mail as soon as I got home just like she promised. Suggestion....shed some pounds before you visit because those restaurants on the strip are worlds best kept secrets, the taste, the prices, the ambiance, the people. I cant wait to go back.

Pretty

By Emilio P |

Very pretty and very pleasant, it's a shame there isn't much parking and you have to walk quite a bit to get there!! However, it is a pleasant place to walk.

Downtown

By jessm531 |

Very cute downtown area. Bigger than I expected, but not huge. Cute shops and souvenirs. Lot's of places to eat. A lot ID

A Must Do!

By J E |

A definite “MUST DO” when visiting Park City…. This area has a bunch of AMAZING restaurants and nice bars, as well as some amazing shopping! It’s an easy walk, several blocks on a single street an beautiful building and architecture. If you enjoy art, there are many galleries there as well!

Fun Nightly Stroll

By busymom11 |

This is a fun place to window shop and enjoy people watching and the fun decorations. I really enjoyed the steps up at the top on the right. You can even take the free trolley up Main Street and then stroll back down. Lots of cute shops, interesting art, and souvenirs.

Walk, look, look, walk....maybe buy

By Mark S |

A long Main Street blossoms with art stores, photography art stores, gift stores, restaurants, jewelry stores, shirt sale stores, clothing stores and more restaurants. Most are up-scale and quality driven.

Neat, Historic Buildings but Difficult Parking

By Becky052 |

We enjoyed walking and looking in the shops on Main but we had a difficult time finding available parking. As 6 senior citizens, we do not do well walking long distances up and down inclines. We finally found a parking deck that had spaces remaining. The town is very charming with some interesting shops and LOTS of restaurants. Be sure and check reviews of the restaurants before you go. Flanagans was a big disappointment but The Eatery was quite good.

Playhouse

By Linda M |

Saw Tommy at the Egyptian Playhouse in Park City on Main Street . It was an excellent show! It is a great evening out .

Connie

By conniealders1463 |

Had an absolutely amazing time in Park City and it was not even ski season!!! Enjoyed the downtown mainstreet district and all the shop owners were extremely friendly. Eat at the Main Street deli. Club sandwich is excellent choice.

Great Walking in Any Weather

By Paul J |

Park City's main street still has all the charm that it ever did, perhaps more. We loved walking the shops, seeing some of the old historic buildings and having lunch along the way. Having seen this town as a child (many years ago), I am so happy to see how much still remains.

Fun town

By f4rags |

It was fun walking up and down Main Street there are plenty of little shops and food for almost all likes and tastes. I would recommend taking the free bus rather than trying to find parking. The street is narrow and crowded.

Fabulous shops!

By Dee L. |

There are some impressive shops and delectible restaurants on Main Street in this beautiful mountain town.

Too much constant traffic on Main Street

By Pascale S |

After my visit at Utah's Olympic Park I took the bus to PC Main Street.
Had a walk up and down the Street as being a first time visitor wanted to see what it's all about.
Though there are several, very beautiful Art Galleries and quite some nice wooden houses/shops, to me the whole wintry cosy atmosphere all diminished by the fact that there was constant car traffic in both ways. If this Street would be a "non-driving"-zone it would feel completely different and much more appealing...

I'd like to add that I'm from Belgium and used to the very pitoresque Swiss mountain villages such as Zermatt and Saas-Fee which are commletely "car-free".
Perhaps I expected to find something similar 😉

Dinner and evening stroll

By Cheryl |

Beautiful during the holiday season and great place to have dinner, Shop and see different Art Galleries! So easy to get to on the free bus system! Loved it!

daytrip

By kmcelhaney2019 |

We spent the day strolling through the various shops, stopping occasionally for a refreshing adult beverage along the way. We had a delicious meal at Flannigan's.

Disappointed

By Rhonda P |

I felt like I was in any other high end ski resort town. Lots of shops carrying the same things over and over. I was in Vail last September and I think they just put different logos on the same stuff. The shops are on a hill and if you aren't used to the altitude change it was a bit of an effort with little result. There's other places to go in the Salt Lake City area for shopping.

Definitely Western

By JaimeFM1 |

Fun area, quainte, nicely kept and attractive without the touristy feeling. Art galleries, small retail shops and diversity of restaurants all in just a short distance. Definitely a walkable town. Picturesque.

Wonderful Main Street U.S.A.

By Ninette B |

You do not need to shop or buy anything for this to be a great place to visit. There is a museum to wonder thru and window shopping and plenty to look at for this to be a safe, quaint, fun experience for the WHOLE FAMILY!

Ski town chic

By Jimmy B |

Main Street in Park City is the quintessential ski town experience. Shops, mining history vibe, restaurants ( all price ranges) bars ( in spite of being in Utah) and a Wholesale Family atmosphere. Go, enjoy, stroll and relax.

Lovely place to visit!

By saavychic |

We visited here in the summer of 2018 and hope to return again and again. Park City is lovely and the Historic District is so pretty! There is an eclectic variety of shops, cafes, restaurants and things to see and do. Many of the locals said they love summer in Park City because there is so much to do. I agree. Of course, the skiing in winter is also quite a draw...

Great place for weekend getaway

By TravelMom |

Anniversary getaway with my husband and we couldn’t have picked a better place! We stayed close to Main St so we never had to drive anywhere. Walked to shops, restaurants, trailheads, and Sunday market. It was beautiful weather and we had so much fun!

all kinds of things there

By paulgX5110FQ |

take the free trolley service up and down main and enjoy looking around the area, shops and several places to eat at.

Summer Lunch

By 2ChicksOnTheRun |

We headed to Park City after spending the morning at the Natural History Museum. The drive here was beautiful and upon arriving found a spot right off to park...and we were early enough that it was free!! You pay to park after 5:30 pm. We started towards the bottom of Main Street and the walk from there is uphill, but nothing that can’t be handled with a stop or two in the local shops. Loved the atmosphere relaxed with an edge of funk. Galleries, restaurants, bars, local shop owners and artisans makes for a nice mix. Found a restaurant with a balcony to enjoy the beautiful summer day. Once lunch was over we walked down the hill, shopped a little more then got back in our car to head to our next Utah destination for the day.

Quaint, safe and fun

By Michael C |

It is a romantic little area in Utah. Very cute, quaint, safe and fun. My wife enjoyed walking through the shops and restaurants.

Four day stay at Park City

By Martha G |

Lots of snow when we were there. Would not advise trying to negotiate their streets in winter if not in good physical shape. The roads are steep, parking is minimal, and walkways slick. It is a beautiful mountain town though but difficult to get around

Fun to stroll, shop and dine. Park elsewhere, and shuttle in.

By Miley2007 |

Great place to walk pre-dinner or apres-dinner. Be advised that parking is very tight and paid by meter/app. There is a free shuttle bus that goes everywhere. You can find the routes by Googling Park City transportation. Sidewalks could be slippery, so wear sound footwear and go explore. Be sure to visit the Bridge Street Cafe, the JavaCow, and the No Name Saloon (open seating).

Nice shops

By Lynn |

Good way to spend an afternoon is walking through all of the cute shops they have on Main Street. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and coffee shops as well. We also found free parking on a side street which was a plus for us.

Main street in Park City

By Pete J |

Park City's historic main street is a fantastic place to visit. If you are in the mood to eat or drink or visit an exceptionally cool art gallery, it's the place to be.

Make reservations ahead of time when possible

By S G |

Very busy and many restaurants can be fully committed. Lots of excellent dining choice but only a few "bars" (serving alcohol without food).

Funny name: Park Silly Sunday Market

By Fouregas |

This event every Sunday in lower Main Street between June and Sept is billed as an eco friendly open air market, street festival, arts and crafts, food and entertainment.

Started by 3 women in 2007 who named the event after Parkites or Park Sillians.
This has grown to a huge success with thousands of visitors and hundreds of vendors.

It's a beautiful June Sunday under blue sky in the high 60's F and one can stroll for few relaxing hours and have a good time.

And of course in the upper Main Street (street runs North to South with incline going upwards towards the South. There is a free shuttle along the street for convenience) there's plenty of permanent shops and eateries also.

Parking on this day at $5/hr on the meter can get expensive if one stays for long.

Wonderful Park City

By APG626 |

The Main Street in Park City is really great for morning walks... getting Coffee at Atticus and then there are a plethora of restaurants for a great dinner for two. Grappa at the Top of the hill is fabulous... great ambiance, delicious food and superb service... a must if you are visiting Park City!!

Day trip to Park City

By pallavi_jain |

I would call it a magical place. Everything about it was so so beautiful. The Main Street at Park City, the drive from gaurdsman pass, St. Regis in deer valley etc. The only thing we didn't like much was the historic train ride in heber valley.

Good walk about

By BarryandJackie |

Very nice walking area for adults but not much of interest for kids, except for shirt shops. Lots of fine clothing and fine artwork. Good assortment of restaurants.

Uphill walk

By J C |

Lots of shops and food options here on main street. What the maps don’t show is that it’s all uphill from north to south. There are free trolleys that run.

Stores are plentiful.

A good way to spend a few hours when not skiing or hiking

By Michael A |

The historic district is a must see. It contains real authentic historic buildings and lots of cool stores. The museum is the highlight in my mind. The bars and restaurants are great and not overly expensive.

No trip to Park City is complete without spending a lot of time on Main Street

By jimkoolkat |

No matter what time of year, ski season, the Sundance Film Festival, or the summer, Main Street is where everything is happening: from the 4th of July parade, to movie stars window shopping during sundance, to skiers finding the perfect restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner, to finding the perfect painting, photo, or sculpture for your home. This is an historic silver mining town and the history is preserved in the facades of all the buildings on main street. The interiors are mostly modern, and attractive with a mountain decor. You can find fine dining or burgers and fries. You can find tee shirts or fur coats. You can find posters to fine art and fine jewelry. And don't forget the watering holes; they are always jammed. Ride the free trolly up and down Main street. Most of all, spend time people watching... you won't be disappointed with time on Main street!!

Lots to see & do!

By Teresa Lewis Watts |

The historic Main Street in Park City is charming, sleek, & full of galleries, boutiques, restaurants, & hotels.

Every Sunday during the warm summer months, the street comes alive with a Farmer’s Market next to the Post Office, & a large street festival with all sorts of vendors & food booths further down the hill.

Many of the fine shops offer extra discounts during this event, so it’s worth browsing up & down both sides of Main Street.

One of the best features, too, are the free shuttles which drop off & pick up right at the center of all the action! Their main transit hub also has well-maintained public restrooms, which is very handy.

Beautiful

Loved main street and all the stores and bars etc. Very well kept. If only utah wasn't so strange with there liquer laws.

Main Street Park City

By tilden49 |

Shoping and dining on Main steet is going back in old west time. Dinning in Brew pubs to Sushi , socks to furs , European design to L L Bean. Main Street has it all !!!!

An easy decompression right here!!

By Yvette G |

Walking along the sidewalks of historic downtown Main Street is always so calming and enjoying. Window shopping is my favorite while having good conversation with someone special or with family or a friend. Its always a must when in Park City!

Good historic downtown to walk the streets and look at the shops

By Richard S |

A lot of touristy but fun shops along the main historic downtown. Plenty of sweets and tee-shirts for the whole family.

Lovely place to visit

By Melissa Vibbert |

Nice for a bit of shopping, walk and early dinner. Was very easy and price just right. Enjoyed our late afternoon stroll.

Hustle and bustle after skiing

By CR2700 |

A lively place and definitely a great place to go if you've still got energy. Lots of restaurants and shops - good to get reservations in advance though as it gets busy on Fridays and weekends.

Must see

By vgyt |

Great atmosphere almost as if it is living cowboy town. However, there are many trendy restaurant and shops filling the Main Street. Great place to walk around and enjoy the hidden gems. However, restaurants are mostly overbooked and waiting is at least 45 minutes.

Old Western Mining town - upscale shopping

By faceyks |

Loved all the stores and shops and great restaurants. casual dress everywhere. walk up one side of the street and down the other.

Quaint and Friendly Shopping

By joycesnorkel |

Had a great time strolling the Main Street and popping into the many stores and galleries along the way. Very friendly and welcoming in every shop, lots of interesting things to see or buy.

HORRIBLE DO NOT BOOK WITH KAREN

By Shalai M |

This operator (Karen) is a MONSTER! A kinder title would be scam artist. We texted and canceled 24 hours before the scheduled hike. She did not respond so I called her and she said to cancel online and she would refund us our money. Then she acted like she did not know how to do it and said she would do it later... for the next 3 days she would make excuses like: I’ll do it later I’m making dinner, can’t right now I’m doing a project, with a friend so I can’t do it right now. After 3 days of this she texts saying she is now only giving us half a refund because it has been such a hassle for her!! She could have done it in 5 mins after we called her but SHE was the one who put it off. I called her and she yelled at me on the phone and then hung up on me when I tried to speak. SHE IS A NASTY PERSON. Also the description says the guide will bring snacks, WRONG. She told us we had to bring all of our food for the hike. So basically you are paying her $100 per person for her to take you on trails that we found on an app! She’s a snake. Lied to us several times. And was horrible to communicate with. Living up to her name, a true KAREN.

Some history, mostly commercial

By Z7011UDmichaelp |

It is worth a walk around. Lots of bars and restaurants and trendy shops. You need to look hard for the historic value. Not just the main drag either, check out the side streets. Parking can be tight and expensive.

Very cute town! Free trolley ride.

By J6063CWjamess |

Great place to walk around. Tons of restaurants and little shops. Prices will be higher at the restaurants but it is definitely worth checking out. They even have a free trolley shuttle to take you up and down the street!

Ski Tourist Central

By Gordon Collier |

Tons of shops with tourism in mind. Ski shops, restaurants, clothing, everything a visitor could want. Great place to stroll. Very close to ski lifts.

Adorable

By majdzianka |

The main street is a must - see. Plenty of nice, small buildings, galleries, gift shops, restaurants. Perfect for a couple or family walk.

Cool historical street!

By drewsusa |

Having been there before I was excited to go back again. So many cool art galleries and shops. The food is great and a large variety of choices.

Have to stop by

By Asta55113 |

Even if you do not want to shop, walk this amazing street. It's a mix of old and new with mountains visible down the street

Nice Walkable Street

By zapprint |

If you are looking for food, drink & shopping, Main Street is an ideal destination for families & couples.
There are always special events to enjoy as well.

Great downtown

By David B |

Great downtown area. We went to Park Silly and had a terrific time. Just come early in the day to shop...everything closes by 7:00.

Have been wandering up and down Park City Main Street for decades . . .

By 787sallyb |

. . . and it never grows tiresome. Two nights ago we were on main street dining at one of the best restaurants in the entire state, Firewood, and we strolled along the busy sidewalks with window shoppers and other tourists. We are locals, and are always happy for the many tourists who visit year round as this is clearly a destination resort. It is probably most fun in the winter when we have great snow as happened this last season (record-breaking amounts). I can recall clomping along these streets in the sixties when my college pals and I would ski Park City Mountain and Park City West (now The Canyons). Deer Valley Resort had yet to be built by the inimitable Stein Eriksen. Once the Sundance Film Festival became famous, these streets were ever so busy in January and many of us trekked up to Main Street for a glimpse at arcane films and celebrities. Fifty years of adventures. Hopefully, more await.

A weekend is enough

By johnfi |

Cool main street area in old historic buildings with a mix of art galleries, stores and restaurants. Most things are overprices but it's a ski town so nice to walk around and check out shops and people watch for a few days.

what a fun place

By Creditcardman |

this is always a fun way to see events or just a nice walk-about for the afternoon when the day is sunny and fun to be outside.

Go on Sunday!

By riceburnergrace |

They shut down Main Street on Sunday so you can really relax and spread out. Great way to spend a day!

Fun little town.

By jaynewayne |

They had their Sunday DT festival, which was very enjoyable. It runs May through Sept. The weather was great and the shops along Main street were a treat.

Main Street

By Mr. Fabulous |

This main Street is very good for an afternoon visit. There are allot of shots
Shops which cater to all sport enthusiast's.
There are also nice native Indian shops. Restaurants, lots of different options from Thai to sushi. Brewery bar and desserts also.

Very nice to stroll

By Anita S |

We enjoyed taking a day off from skiing and walking around town. The stores and museums are great to walk in/out and there are plenty of places to stop for a drink or more. There are also convenient, clean bathrooms in town. Thanks!

Not much different than other ski towns.....

By Chicagonative_7 |

Some nicer older buildings with lots of restaurants and galleries as one would expect. Strolling Main Street after a day of hiking is further punishment to the calves, as it on a hill....

It’s all about the mountains here.....

Such a cute little town!

By kirstinbensen |

The downtown area/Main Street is so cute! There are a ton of great restaurants, shops, and pubs. We had lunch at No Name Saloon & Grill which I highly recommend for really good burgers and brews and patio dining. Java Cow was my favorite coffee spot for a latte (iced or hot). I was bummed I missed the Sunday Silly Market because that looked really cool but we ended up arriving after 5pm when they closed. Just means we may have to make another trip!

So picturesque, quaint, friendly with lots of little shops

By JennyOD |

The night views are so beautiful with the homes on mountain tops lit up in the background. So many delicious and fun restaurants and pubs. The cute little shops were plenty good to wonder into for fun.
The post office lobby is open at night and the heaters are on (great to hop into for a quick warm up during 9 degree weather).
Lots of ski gear shops, jewelry, art galleries, restaurants, theater, and clothes shops to wander into. The people were so darn nice. Definitely will come back again.

A lot of stores to choose from.

By Trevi36 |

Although many stores had the same things there is still plenty to do in this beautiful town. The restaurants and shops are great.

Loved it!

By alethea1234 |

We love visiting historic main street in Park City. There are so many restaurants/bars and art galleries. It's fun to spend the day here visiting the different shops. Don't miss the Park City Historic Museum!

Good way to spend an afternoon

By jas326 |

We spent the afternoon wandering around and it was great. We watched the skiers on the town lift for a while. Enjoyed window shopping and actual shopping. The place was friendly and easy to get around. Quickly found a parking spot. There were signs on the highway showing how to get to this area which was helpful.

Good for shopping and people watching

By etravelhome |

It feels like a nice planned development. Some local brands and many outdoor sporting named brand stores. Many restaurants and bars as well. Makes for a nice visit, and I’m sure very nice after a day of skiing (we visited in late summer).

Galleries galore and a busy cop

By Jacquelinemcgr |

Omg I could not believe how many galleries could be in a few blocks. Street car was cute and I would suggest you get an Uber or ride here as the cops literally sat in area to ticket people. While having a quick bite, we witnessed 3 tickets and even our Uber was pulled over. Crazy!

So Quaint

By Cynthia G |

This little town is so cute and quaint. You could spend days there just walking the streets and eating at different restaurants and never eat at the same one twice!

Like walking through history! Fun shops to browse!

By ndvillanueva |

Spent the day walking through all the shops! Lots of them to see and I think there was something for everyone! Some good priced places, some expensive, of course. But had a nice visit - will definitely come again!

Enjoyed the Sunday Festival

By Judy P |

We were able to come into town on a Sunday. Street Festival was a lot of fun. So many great vendors, music and food. Since we had already made dinner reservations we didn't have the street food but everything looked wonderful and prices seemed reasonable for an east coaster!!

Lovely Downtown

By Sallie A |

The downtown is a great area to spend an evening or afternoon perusing.

Restaurants were delish and galleries/shops enjoyable.

Summit County has a mask requirement during our visit so we felt very safe.

On Sunday’s, they make the street pedestrian only and it made the experience much better! I hope for small business sake this is considered to accommodate heated/outdoor seating!

Nice area, lots of restaurants and shops

By BobU412 |

We were here because we stayed at the Marriott Summit Watch resort. The historic district was nice, what made it really cool for us was that for 3 of the days there was a large Kimmel Art Show down main street. Over 220 vendors, some really nice art. There's plenty of restaurants and shops in old historic buildings. There's a free trolley to take (we did not, but should have up hill after the art show was over). Definitely a very nice place to see, show, eat dinner while in Park Place, would not go here just for this.

Historic, picturesque, eclectic, and expensive. Go!

By Taylor A |

A must see if you're in the area. Walk up and down both sides and wander in whatever stores interest you. Plenty to eat and see. Don't miss the bookstore and some fudge, a caramel apple or ice cream at the adjacent Rocky Mountain Fudge Factory.

Parading Park City

By kathryn b |

Although we were not present for any scheduled events in Park City, this thoroughfare was ready for anything. Parking is readily available, so that the shopping, browsing areas are left to primarily pedestrians.

Stepping back in time

By 188gingerw |

We had a nice walk down the main drag, stepped into some unique boutiques and stores. Overall a very pleasant way to spend an hour or two!

Cute shop, colorful buildings

By viganiko |

Everything is well kept, clean and colorful. Lots of fun little details everywhere. Also a great selection of shops. Parking was available, but most of it for a fee.

First time in Park City

By Anne-Marie K |

Loved strolling down and up Main Street. Lots of shops and restaurants. Enjoyed spending the day tooling around.

Down Town

By Gators4ever |

Beautiful place in December to go see. Plenty of cool shops to visit! Only downfall was parking! We will go back and shop more next time when we have more time. It was suppose to snow that day and we got a nice snow surprise

Love Old Town

By robbmadd |

Lots of good restaurants and bars. Nice shops. Great place to walk. Everyone was so nice.
Really enjoyed the old town

Super Fun

By JPOS_CA |

Great restaurants and old west historic motifs. Too many good restaurants (most are VERY pricey) but all really good. The museum is a fun stop too.

All kinds of shops

By Linda R |

You could easily spend all day exploring the shops. Parking is done through a box insert your credit card with 3 hours max. The clothing shops are unique, some pricey and some affordable. We plan to spend a gallery day, today was clothes then decor a day. Outside seating at most of the restaurants or balcony’s. It was clean. The shop staff were super nice.

nice place

By elliotnotsam2 |

Main street is great for shopping, eating, and cocktails but its not cheap and can be crowded and hard to park. Galleries are also nice.

Visit for work

By Jeffrey O |

Visited Park City Main Street and it is awesome! If you love quaint Main Streets and a ton of shops, this is your spot. It is definitely a tourist spot. Still, it’s pretty cool, I called my wife,... cause I’m in Utah for training, and told her she would love it.
As any touristy spot, some of the restaurants seemed a bit pricey, but the area did have a nice feel. If you’re in the Salt Lake area, I suggest taking the 45 minute drive to visit this area.

Great little village

By coldinrochester |

Fun to walk around, drink, eat and shop. We had some great fun in the bars/restaurants and shops. Park at the bottom, shop and eat going up and then walk back down!

Charming Main Street in Park City

By ERchefND |

20 years after we started coming here, Park City Main Street is still a fun place with great restaurants ( though a bit pricey) & shopping. I do miss the stand alone Park City Clothing Company but you can find a smaller version inside Southwest Traders, which has lovely Navajo jewelry & cool moccasins. Dolly’s bookstore is not to be missed- especially the Staff Picks table which has better recommendations than bestseller lists. Try to find one of their resident cats; my kids have always loved coming here & buy a book to support this independent bookstore. The ice cream at Java Cow is the best! And they have some quirky gifts too. Down the hill Atticus Teahouse is not to be missed- books, cards & great tea & coffee. Also Banhof has high quality clothing especially ski stuff. For a healthy lunch go around to Park Street & check out Harvest- yum! While Main Street has too many large chains & no pianos anymore, it’s still worth a visit . Loosey Moosey is finally back but on the back side where the bear on the bench is. Park Silly on summer Sunday’s is crazy but lots of fun- try riding your bike into town or the buses to avoid parking fees.

Nice mix of options even with COVID impact

By hvonderh |

So, this mainly upscale strip of shops, galleries and dining options is understandably not at its best as the pandemic rages on. Many stores were closed, some with no details on the door about status. Parking was free, which we were told was to encourage visitors as the season ramps up. Mountain lift was closed, too. Drive here from Salt Lake City is gorgeous and alone worth the trip.

Relaxing Day

By Scott S |

Plenty of interesting shops, galleries and places to eat. Perfect place to visit at a leisurely pace.

Short visit but great

By Mike D |

We just visited Park city for the evening. It was a very bustling town. Cute shopping area. We ate at the chop House. If food was very good and the service was good also and we had a wonderful view of the ski lift.

Visit

By Mike S |

This is my favorite Main Street and I have been there several times. While it is built on a hill they offer a free trolley to take you up or down the street. It is possible to walk up and down checking out the shops and bars.

The little big beautiful street

By cristiansbrazil |

Oh my goodness it's so beautiful street with a lot and vary places, excellent restaurant. The Main Street is good to visit all year..

First time for Park Silly

By Vicky W |

We had a fabulous time in and out of galleries and shops. Enjoyed the music and ambience. Really terrific lobster rolls from food booth. Very pretty historic downtown.

One timer

By Luv2Travel |

Fun little adventure to check out the snow globes with the kids over Christmas break. It was cold so dress warm and wear good walking shoes as they are spread out up and down Main Street. The kids had a good time. The globes sounded a little more magical on their website, map included, but not as impressive as described.

Just like a movie scene

By Falina M |

Lots of great restaurants, art shops, gift shops, bars, a perfect place to stay and dine and walk around. Everything was clean and no pan handlers. A must see while in PC.

Love walking through the Historic District

By Velvet C |

We really enjoy walking through the Historic District and by the river. We enjoyed walking around the Historic Minor's Hospital as well.

Great Place to Window Shop

By Zack M |

Lots of decent places to eat along the street. Great stores to wander through although some are very pricey - its Park City. Lots of free convenient parking.

Good walk, nice shops and restaurants

By carlie07 |

You definitely need to see this at least once on your visit, don't necessarily need to go every day. Pretty convenient to slope-side, wouldn't try to go mid-day though. Not too bad a walk up and down each way, transit center bus (#10) drops off in about the middle. Restaurants here will be mostly upscale, a few pizza and burger places. There's a trolly but we didn't stop to figure it out. Nice at night. Combo of upscale shops and galleries and cheaper places.

Worth the visit!

By randybooker99 |

There are so many shops and restaurants on Main Screen in Park City -- more than we had time to visit!! There's something for everybody! The art exhibits are fabulous!

Historic Western Town at it's Best

By mark r |

Parked our car and walked up and down the Main Street in historic downtown Park City. Everything you could ask for in an old time western town. Store employees were friendly and everyone had 'masks' on. Also drove around the residential neighborhoods which was also very interesting. The homes are upkept well and everything is clean and neat.

Silly Sunday in July

By Atkinstravelers |

We were here for vacation and had saw they have a festival called Silly Sunday in July. It was very crowded and quiet hard to find parking. The vendors were everywhere with lots of neat things for sale. They were very friendly and willing to tell you about what they were selling. The prices were very reasonable and lots of different items even for pets. This was a great experience to get to see all the local artists and meet the artists. This however seems like it is taking business away from the store owners because all the visitors were in the Main Street that was lined up both sides, which blocked the store fronts. The buses and trolley are both free and keep a very tight schedule, so keep this in mind when you are looking for parking.

Be careful when walking around because the way the sidewalks going into businesses are sloped with the hillside, watch your step.

Nice downtown

By Cary G |

Great shopping and a nice place to walk around at night! The shops were even open till 8:00 on Sunday night which was a plus!

Lots to see

By K Pastore |

A great downtown with shops to interest everyone. There are many restaurants to choose from as well as stores abundant.

Epitome of mountain living

By Lauri D |

The shops were so cute! Great artists, beautiful clothing, wide variety of local and nationwide stores.

Nice but pricey

By JBeedo |

Park City is a great town, very pretty year around. Problem is it is so expensive to get a meal and to buy stuff.

So many great shops to see

By Tania M |

This main st is a great place to walk, eat and shop. Some great galleries too! 501 Main is a fabulous restaurant. We will be back.

Old vs. New

By rjk857 |

Park City is nice. Lots of shops and restaurants, bars, breweries, and even a distillery.. which by the way has great booze! We visited just at the end of skiing season.. so most of the shops had super clearance sales of winter clothing.. nice time to pick up stuff for next winter! Depending on how much time you spend in a bar or restaurant, you can spend several hours just checking things out.

Really enjoyable!!

By stawise |

A great place to shop, dine, and have a lovely stroll!! Very historic street. Kept true to the original so long ago. Delicious restaurants and terrific shopping after a day of skiing!!

Superb & Historical Main Street PC

By Alan C |

Great place to have food , shop and be entertained . Lovely variety of shopping for all tastes as skiers , food & entertainment with music hall / cinema & live music venues.
Thoroughly enjoy the No Name Saloon on our visits with their famous Buffalo Burgers .
Wonderful mining town and traditional ski town but so many other things in art even has a famous Banksy . So many things to see and do 👍😮😮

Picture Perfect

By Claire W |

I would like to go back and walk around this area. It began snowing very hard while there and was quite windy but looked like some fun stores and restaurants on Main Street.

Main drag is where it's at!

By Anne Marie P |

What's not to love about Main St. During Sundance?? That's where the action is. Restaurants, galleries, bars, shops, Sundance box office nearby as well as sponsor tents. Egyptian Theater too. Fun people watching!

Fun little walk

By mu51c10rd |

There are nice, unique shops and restaurants along Main Street. The Egyptian Theater is also here. The Snow Globes were a bit disappointing, and not nearly as interesting as the website made them out to be. There are about a 4 foot sphere, and with very little snow inside them. Each is themed differently. However, the shops were fun to see, and this is worth a one time walk through.

Another resort small old town, but nicer than many

By SouthFlorida-ParkCity |

The old town is nice and has plenty of upscale restaurants. Excellent place for tourists and first time visitors.

Neat area

By gold-vintner |

This is a nice little community.....lots of shops, restaurants and lodging is available. Every ware appeared to be clean. Wish we have been able to spend a little more time here.

So, if you are going to Olympic Park, you might want to save some time for a visit in the Park City area.

Wonderful walking and window shopping

By Anna W |

Take the cable car to the very top of the hill, then walk down, cutting back and forth for various shops. This will save your legs in the thin air. Stop for a rest at the Museum and enjoy some history. Take another break at Flanagan's and enjoy fish and chips in the outside seating so you can people watch. There are more restaurants in this tiny town it would take months to try them all. Beautiful art galleries, lovely tourist shops and little hole in the wall bookshops and coffee shops. You'll need hours to walk the whole town.

Great mix of local and big name stores

By GMBG |

While I can’t imagine what this place looks like during Sundance, Main St and Park Ave has a great mix of local shops and pubs and big name shops. Fun to walk up one side and down the other window shopping and popping in to some of the spots.

Visiting Utah

By PascalRi300 |

Great place to chill on a weekend afternoon. Nice quick ride from SLC. Main Street full of activities and shops. Good restaurants.

This is why you come to Park City

By Felix F |

Hard to locate a much better place then the Character of the Street, and the quality of the Restaurants and Shops on Main Street. This is one the reasons we have been coming to PC for 10 years straight.

Can't miss this

By jeff |

The old time ski town run amok with fancy restaurants, gift shops and art galleries. Did I mention a brewery and distillery? Don't miss the visit if you're close by.

Magical … Less the Road Construction

By M&AEagle |

Historic downtown Park City is a wonder of sights: the buildings, homes, shops, bars and restaurants. Unfortunately for us, there was road construction going on for a couple blocks on Main Street, which made for a bit of back-and-forth navigating across that noisy, irritating section of the street. Oh, well. Our timing for this visit was a bit off. And, as you well know … timing is everything. That aside:

You can easily spend 2-3 hours walking up and down Main and the other couple parallel streets. So much to take in. We returned here on a couple days.

Of course, your own experience will certainly be dependent upon what season it is. No doubt that a snowy evening walk down Main Street in peak snow season, with all the fun, lights and excitement of "just being there," will certainly be more than a bit magical. And chances are that road construction will be long-over when the Fall and Winter seasons come around again in just a few months. So, plan your trip now!

Love the art

By Kyle W |

My wife and I always explore downtown Main Street in park City on our anniversary. We love all the art stores. The bookstore is one of our favorite stops of the night.

Always Great!!

By tbb23 |

Park City has a great vibe. Friendly people help make visiting this beautiful mountain town a memorable time. The shops are a good combination of unique and mountain/ fitness chain stores— some quite expensive, but others not. Just about any place you eat or hang out will be unique and have a great ambience, good drinks, and delicious food. The Egyptian Theatre has fantastic shows, as does Park City Live. All this just a short 30 minutes from SLC airport make Park City a true gem!!!

VERY ENJOYABLE TIME AND GOOD VARIETY OF SHOPS & GALLERIES

By HARRY M |

It is always very enjoyable to wander around the various shops on Main Street. There are a variety of different shops as well as interesting art galleries to visit as well as a very nice bookstore, Dolly's. Just soaking in the architecture as well as the ski lift make it very enjoyable and there are a good variety of restaurants to stop in and grab a bite to eat.

What a friendly town!

By susieo67 |

We visited Main Street during one of the farmers markets, and on an additional day when it wasn't so crowded. There are so many quaint stores, galleries and places to eat. We were there at the end of summer so it wasn't overly crowded which is how we like it. We spent an entire day just walking up and down the street, in and out of the stores. Make sure you get to Thomas Mengelsen's gallery!

There is a reason I live here!

By NanaGlobetrotter |

Park City has become a year round vacation destination! You wouldn't know it unless you are a local, but there are so many free things to do here. besides the obvious number of obvious activities such as skiing, hiking, biking, etc. we also host a number of free events that you can attend such as sports competitions, we also host a number of free concerts, free street fairs and so many other things...you should come visit!

Nice town

By MartyBrian |

Walked around town. Have nice little stores, galleries and restaurants. There was a lot of snow on our visit and the sidewalks were well cleared and safe. By the third day we were there the mounds of snow were cleared from the streets. Will come back when it is not so cold!

Cool shopping area with history

By Jonathan T |

Spent our last day of ski trip to park city hanging out in the historic district. Great mix of shopping and restaurants. Recommend for afternoon not on slopes. Multiple restaurants for lunch and dinner. Several boutiques with unique items. Our daughters, 19,17, & 14 had fun shopping.

Shopping

By Connie C |

The variety of stores made for great shopping. Even though I was hobbling from a ski injury, it was relatively easy to access all of the stores.

Great old town with lots of character

By Dennis K |

Working around the old town will help you build up an appetite or walk off that wonderful meal you just enjoyed. It is a mountain town so the streets go up and down but luckley there are plenty of place to stop and catch your breath, rehydrate, and rest.

Thanks for a great time Park City Main!

By Louise W |

Flag the trolley down and enjoy riding it to your next location or just walk. Awesome restaurants and shopping! Thanks Park City Main Street!!!

Picturesque Views while shopping

By Jeff Burgner |

Beautiful views while shopping Main Street! All the shops you could imagine, art galleries, souvenirs, gifts, + more! Also a great selection of places to eat at! Locals are super friendly + a place we definitely will visit again + recommend to friends!

Very scenic walk , eat and see historical district with a lot of shopping outlets and restaurants .

By alex311327 |

Very picturesque location and architecture of the time gone by. Lot of different shopping outlets and restaurants. Slightly overpiriced area for eating but a great atmosphere and entertainment

Vibrant area of shops and restaurants in beautiful old buildings.

By Debbie B |

You can spend hours strolling through shops and galleries in restored historical buildings. The area is clean and colorful, with the mountains as a backdrop. Lots of restaurants with outdoor seating.

High priced shops but good restaurants

By Debra B |

There were a lot of options for food here and we spent a few hours walking around. Very cute area with free parking before 5:00 pm. There were several choices for food and drinks on Main Street. Stores were very expensive and many retailers ignored you when you walked in the store.

Christmas winter wonderland!!

By Mommisa7 |

Park City Main St reminds me of Whoville!! The shops and restaurants have that dollhouse appeal. Every tree (in December) is adorned with Christmas lights. Photo ops are endless!! Bonus: Free transportation all around the city!!

Shops close early

By SeeTheWorld608 |

We were just passing through Park City and saved Main Street for our last stop. We were very disappointed to find that most shops seems to close by 7 or 8pm. You'd think with the amount of tourists on site that they would stay open a bit later on the weekends at least.

If you have time take the walking tour

By Bob B |

If you have the time go to the Park City Museum and sign up for the walking tour on Main street. It will help to understand the history and layout of the main street and city history. About 1,5 hours and worth the time if looking for more info about park city and the area.

Very charming ski town

By TraveltheWorld |

It is a very charming town with lots of shops and restaurants on the main street. The town is surrounded by big mountains. In the evening everything is lights up so the town becomes very colorful with lights. In the winter it;s magical by surrounding white mountains,. If you are staying in one of the park city hotel, you should definitely visit it.

Wonderful shopping and galleries

By JS |

Main Street has a wonderful selection of stores, adequate parking and delicious restaurants. The art galleries are amazing and expensive. Clothes shopping was fun. Parking along Main Street was limited to a 3 hour maximum during our visit so we did have to move our car. Metered parking with the app is very easy. Sidewalks were cleared, public bathrooms were nice and clean. Very cute town. Only complaint was about 50% of the store staff never said “hello” unless we did first, especially at the art galleries. The exception was Brett Webster Images; very friendly staff. We did purchase from them. Main Street makes for a fun shopping day!

Overrated shops and restaurants

By gadgetSunnyvaleCA |

We visited Main Street twice. We found the shops very touristy and the restaurants overpriced. The second time we went for the Silly Sundays market and the food stalls were few. And, what food was there boring and standard fare like pizza. The shops themselves have very cute facades but that's about it

Classic city charm. Great restaurants and shops

By geeneou5 |

This was the sixth time I had been to Park City, and second time actually staying in downtown. This is a great place to take your family or go on a date. The downtown area is excellent for dining, shopping, and even staying. There is a town lift that will take you up for in-town “ski in ski out”.

Great atmosphere!

By KrGo2014 |

My family of 5 (2 adults, kids 9, 13, 15) stayed a couple nights at a hotel at the top of main street. Main street has a great atmosphere! There are many food options and most were more expensive than an average restaurant. There are several art galleries. The clothing stores are very expensive. There are a few tourist shops where you can buy Park City memorabilia. We only walked the street once; I feel that once you have seen it there really is no reason that would merit a trip back.

Favorite part of trip!

By Bobbie Suzanne F |

Don't miss Main Street Historic District! Only a bus ride away! Lots of shopping, restaurants, bars, gift shops! Perfect for pictures!

Don't miss it

By worldtravelerT1820IO |

Everyday skiing in and around Park City can be tiring so it is nice to take a day off and explore Main Street. There is an excellent variety of restaurants and shops along Main Street. We love the Asian restaurants and have very good coffee. Since it wasn't a great ski day anyway we were really happy to do something else for the day.

Great downtown

By lubigolf |

First time visit to this great town. Lots of restaurants and shops. Grst for people watching. Great bars and people.

Beautiful (but crowded)!!

By GlutenlessSinCity |

I have always wanted to go to Park City. We were in SLC for a long weekend and so we drove the 30 miles to Park City.

The drive was beautiful, so scenic!! And as we climbed in elevation the snow came down harder. It looked like a postcard.

We ended up just driving around and then driving back to Synderville to the Walmart to get Park City mementos at a discounted price.

Must-do when you visit Park City!

By Lena C |

Main St. was definitely more than i expected! So many shops and restaurants - definitely set aside some time to explore!

GREAT SHOPS

By Janet R |

Whether looking for a "special" souvenir or gift or just wanting to get an ice cream, lunch or dinner, it's all right here. Everyone is so friendly & helpful. If you are an art lover, there are several galleries along main street in which to browse.

Explored the District on Four Consecutive Days!

By TallahasseeMark |

So much to see! We probably went into 80% of the stores, and a few we visited multiple times. A lot of historical information to read about and just about every major outdoor sports dealer in the country had a location there. Bars, food, music, and a lot of friendly people. Highly recommend!

Charming!

By Kerry H |

We were lucky enough to catch the Gallery Walk on the last Friday of the month. Even met 2 of the artists. Allen Lund was painting at the front of his gallery. Something you don't always get to do.

Always love coming up here.

By MaitreyeeMayhem |

Everytime we go to Park City I always stop by main street. I love looking at all the shops and going to the bars. Everyone is really nice and not all the stores are high end. Many of the hotels have shuttles that run all night for bar hopping and shopping.

How can you go wrong!?!

By MichaelZ794251 |

Something for everyone. Sure, you have to pay for parking, but so what? It’s all good. Shops, restaurants, and the mining museum is amazing. Walk slowly, stop, breathe, and enjoy life!

Fun street!

By Sharo13 |

Can't go to Park City without walking down Main St. Lots of stores, restaurants, art galleries to enjoy.

Main Street

By Odtrail |

Quaint town with great shopping dining and views. Plenty of dining options. People friendly for most part

Go after 11

By advcards |

It appears some of the stores don’t open till 11 so I would recommend going after 11 overall it’s just the shopping experience with lots of boutiques and restaurants. They also have a free trolley and public restrooms

Beautiful!

By Stephanie B |

Great place to walk around for souvenirs and food. Quaint and beautiful with great shopping! Great kind of down day from skiing

Good for an Hour

By CalifDoug |

A typical mountain town tourist stop. Some very nice and even very high end shops. Lots of good restaurants and snack stops. Main street is somewhat steep, not very good for disabled. Altitude is 7000 feet if you have breathing problems.

Window shopping

By Susan R |

Bring your moola! Not a place to find bargains, think like Carmel, Can except in the mountains instead of the coast. Very pretty, but very pricy.

Main Street summer fun

By 423LindaG |

Yes, Park City gets crowded even in the summer. My best tip is to go on Main Street on a weekday in the late afternoon. If it’s too hot, take the free trolley to the top of Main Street and work your way downhill. The locals who work in the shops and restaurants are welcoming and friendly. Some shops are pricey but reasonably priced souvenirs can be found if you take your time. Wasatch Brew Pub is a great place to grab a snack and an adult beverage, especially if you made the trek up Main Street.

great walk around

By SCORPIOSFNM |

What a fun small city. Great expensive shopping. Lots of nice restaurants. Really fun way to spend a day.

Great shopping

By sigihowe |

Very scenic downtown area with great shops and restaurants Parking garage is accessible to area and reasonably priced

Mining Town Flavor

By TedL1049 |

It's only Main Street, but about four blocks long. Similar in ambiance as California's mother load towns. Plenty of good restaurants, antique stores and such that we spent three hours going down one side and walking back up the side of street. Has that 1800's feel with looks of buildings. Mining museum is no on the block. Street parking $1/hour. Elevation and mountain backdrop adds to charm.

Interesting shops and fun vibes

By dustythoughts |

I was in town for a conference and had some time between meetings, so I decided to come explore this district. It's a cute district, with a lot of mom-and-pop stores and amazingly eccentric shopping options that gave this area a fun vibe to offset the skiing. I really liked the fact that they have a lot of benches along Main St., so I could just sit and enjoy the atmosphere without needing to rush anywhere. Very friendly people and a lot of things to explore.

Mixed

By David B |

Lots of higher end shops and restaurants, but not really very historic. Looks more reconstructed, Disney Main Street like, without the Disney characters. Easy to get around with free buses that also feed into the larger free transit system. Worth a look, but not much of a real historic district.

If you are anywhere near Park City - stroll Main St

By Teresamea |

This is a super walkable area. It is historic and charming, a visual delight in winter. Offers shopping, art galleries, many dining and drinking establishments, entertainment venues, and people watchers heaven. Some of the dining and shopping can get quite pricey but there are budget friendly options too. The shop owners were very friendly. I loved looking at some of the native American jewelry and art galleries. We bought chocolates and carmel apples (ask and they will slice them) from Rocky Mountain. The High West Distillery will tell you about medicinal whiskey in dry Utah...they also offer food and have a nice bar. My favorite meal of the trip was strangely sushi, not what I would think of as mountain fare, but Yuki Yama restaurant is amazing!

Must go

By Leandro S |

Multiple restaurants, shops, and bars all within a short walking distance. Nice, historic area. Great for friends, families and couples. Definitely a must- it’s where all the best restaurants are!

Cool! - Sundays in Summer for Residents only

By GustavSpeed |

Park City is mostly a Tourist destination. I guess the residents get tired of that and during the summer they have "Park Silly".

Every Sunday they block all side streets as for residents only. They block the downtown street parking as residents only. They block the streets so non-residents can not get to the parking ramps. They then have a downtown street festival for residents only.

This is a great time for tourists to go exploring other areas. We took a hike near Guardsman pass.

Great Little Town

By zapprint |

If you are looking for a little town with lots of life, day and evening, as well as food/activities, Park City is the place.
Special events all the time, great people, what more could you ask for!

Good day off from skiing

By ReggieCat |

Nice way to spend a few hours on a day off from skiing. Although pricey merchandise, there are bargains to be found. Many art galleries that are welcoming of visitors.

Just a Must

By Fabio Massimo Bonini |

If you go to Park City a walk on main Street is really something youu have to do.
Shopping Restaurants and a super athmosphere.....

Great Shops and Restaurants!

By James F |

We were lucky enough to be within walking distance of Main Street. Tons of great shops and restaurants! Pizza Noodle quickly became one of our favorites!

Silly Sunday Street Faire!

By michele m |

Main Street in Park City offers so much from shopping, numerous restaurants, museums, and walking/historic site seeing. Silly Sunday Street Fair is especially fun with booths of local artisans, live music, and farmers market type of items. It's a fun stroll even in the rain! Recommend to take the free shuttle from where you are staying to avoid the pricey parking fees in town at $5.00 @hour and hard to find spaces. (About 4 blocks long from top of the hill to town center at the bottom by the park, band stand, and food booths)

Fun street with lots of Vendors

By pjbfilm |

Lot's of options for food. you just have to make reservations well in advance. Most places close around 9 pm and are not open for lunch so plan ahead.

Shops and restaurants.

By RandyRoss |

Highly recommended! There are lots of great shops and restaurants, a wonderful museum and the historic Egyptian Theatre. This id the area where the Sundance Film Festival takes place in February.

Fun!

By puravi p |

Lots of restaurants and shops. Very nicely lit up as well. Fun place for dinner after skiing. Most hotel shuttles and the Town lift from Park city resort take you to Main Street.

Park City- Sophisticatedly Quaint

By Nancy M |

Main Street is lined with specialty cafes and restaurants, boutiques and high end retailers. Very clean and a wonderful place to stroll through morning, noon or night.

Incredible!

By ezmall |

We love coming to Park City and just browsing up one side of Main Street and then down the other. There are so many beautiful shops and restaurants, with an incredible "vibe". It really sets the stage for a great visitor experience!

Overpriced and Crowded

By Michael W |

Park City's history is rather boring, unless you have a deep interest in mining trivia. So the historical claim is a ruse leading to another purpose. The shops and restaurants are extremely expensive (home of the $16+ hamburger) with very low quality. The merchants seem to feel that they have a captive audience - especially true in winter - and charge accordingly. Most visitors seem stressed and generally unhappy. Good luck parking in the area. It too is expensive and in short supply.

Nice area yet most everything closes by 5?

By Ken T |

We visited historic Park City, wanting to visit various art galleries boutique shops, etc. However we got there around 6 o’clock pm only to find most of the stores were closed and would not open until the next day at 10 o’clock. We were rather disappointed, as the only venues open were food and drink establishments.

Art everywhere

By outsidenow |

This is not your typical commercial street for tourists.
It is mostly art galleries and jewelry stores.

Great food and shopping

By Jillyjillyjilly |

I spent my off ski day shopping and checking out the restaurants downtown. It was fantastic. They have many different types of shops and of course souvenir shopping as well. I can’t wait to come back to try other great food options

Main Street has shops, restaurants, and galleries.

By Pudditat |

Main Street is an easy walk from the hotel. There is a small park area, lots of restaurants, galleries, and shops. Fun to wander, even though some are closed in the summer.

Love this area! Food, shopping, beautiful.

By WoodmereKid |

Great shopping, lots of eating, you’ll need a couple days since you need to take a break to spend time in the gorgeous hills around. Park Silly Sunday is also a great street fair on Sundays in summer.

Walkable

By kweldon61 |

City was clean safe and walkable. Many Art Work shops some Restaurants and Bars, acouple gift stores, and many clothing establishments.
Was not an area for small children, they would get bored. Nothing for teens either. Adult area unless your going for food only with them.
No free parking, everything was pay. And on a Tuesday night at 8pm they were issuing Tickets.

Museums, Shopping, Eating.

By today1111 |

Downtowm shopping close to Park City. If you like art museums, walking or going to a restaurant it's worth going. Good place to find souvenirs.

Fun shopping

By Max K |

My family and I had a fun time shopping and walking the Main Street after our eventful weekend of skiing. The stores were fun and delightful. We stopped at the book store that sells ice cream and enjoyed a fun time perusing the books while eating an ice cream cone. I highly recommend a nice family gathering after a long day in the slopes.

Walk History

By Bill S |

Wonderful Old West Town! You can feel the history....many stores and places to grab a meal, drink or snack.

Nice Old West Ambiance But Pretty Quiet Off-Season

By Conseiller99 |

Classic Western mining town ambiance on a fairly significant grade from top to bottom, lined with stores, restaurants and galleries. Half of the restaurants are only open for dinner though; and the shops are obviously geared to skiing season rather than off-season summer. Nice place to walk around and have lunch or a drink at one of the pubs or restaurants.

A historic mix of older and newer buildings

By EJ B |

Spent most of my afternoon meandering the historic main street. Lots of galleries, shops, eateries, etc. A must visit when here in Park City. Also love the idea of free buses as I was tired of walking by the end of the day!

Nice mix of shops and galleries

By NCTravelfan58 |

If you are in Park City for a few days, it’s worth spending a half a day wandering the downtown area. There is something for everyone. Lots of art galleries. Some unique shops and some tourist places. Pubs, restaurants, museum, spas, chair lift, and more.

Nice downtown area

By SeeTheW0rld62 |

We walked around downtown on our day off of skiing. It's nice with lots of historic buildings. There are a lot of souvenir shops, clothing stores, restaurants, jewelry stores, and art galleries. We were looking around, not out to buy anything so we had a light lunch and window shopped.

VERY biased about PC.

By John B. N |

My family and I used to do our winter vacation in another state. Back in 2006, we visited PC and have gone back every year ever since.

A short and scenic 30 minute scenic ride from SLC, on well maintained and wide roads.

Can’t get enough of Main Street. The art galleries, clothing stores, restaurants and other interesting places.

Go early evening and lose yourself is the perfect mix of the yesteryear and the contemporary.

Start at the top of Main, where Grapa Italian restaurant is and work your way downhill. It’s easier that way.

Just go!

Beautiful town

By Wisc0214 |

This was my first visit to Park City. Fortunately, it was during the off season (September) so there wasn't a crowd and plenty of street parking available. Lots of cute clothier boutiques, restaurants, delis, coffee and delicacy shops, a theater, bars, hotels, and lots of entertainment. Very cute town. It reminds me of Breckenridge, Colorado. Lots of character and very scenic. I hear the skiing is amazing here as well. There town is right in the middle of the ski hills. I will definitely visit again.

Love the buildings but could do without the snooty attitudes

By greengirl68 |

It really is a pretty little area. There are tons of shops, galleries and restaurants. I wanted to enjoy it more, but the snotty attitude of not only some of the shopkeepers, but also fellow visitors was off putting. I went with money to spend, but really had more than one "Pretty Woman" experience because I wasn't covered in fur and hauling an YSL purse (insert any expensive bag), I was ignored in more than one place. I was dressed in perfectly acceptable garb for the place and season.

I hope shop owners will learn to not judge by a patrons appearance. I would have spent money, but was so dismissed I went a couple shops down and spent money there, instead. Come on Park City, do better.

small town USA

By 12thhawk |

What a nice place. Great restaurants and shops all up and down main street. We loved the Wasatch brewery for dinner and lunch and the Java Cow for ice cream.

Enjoy Old Town and everything it has to offer

By Maria |

Main Street, Park City, has something for everyone. I go there often for dining and theater and to stroll through the galleries and boutiques that are unique and fun to explore. There's a variety of dining options from $ to $$$$$$$!!! Yes, some of these are pretty high priced, but if you want to splurgh, there's plenty of opportunity. But any of the medium priced restaurants have great food and beverages to offer a family without breaking the budget. Definitely check out what is playing at The Egyptian Theater before you go to visit. They offer lots of concerts and musical theater with very affordable prices and not a bad seat in the house. The people in the shops and restaurants are friendly and show that they happy to have you visiting and enjoying this great ski town. Any season is fun on Main Street and each month has special events going on for family and couples. Definitely the place to visit while you are visiting anywhere in the greater Salt Lake area, as it is a short drive from the Salt Lake airport and nearby areas.

Bring your appetite!

By Kevin M |

Beautiful destination. The entire street is loaded with shops, bars, restaurants. Silly Sundays the street is closed to traffic and filled with vendors of all types. Plenty of parking options if you go early in the day.

Reminds me of the Old West in a new and modern way. It gave me the vibe of Gatlinburg, Tennessee without commercialism.

By efromflint73 |

We were (well, I was) mesmerized by the nice, quaint, and well maintained shopping and restaurant scene. It’s hard to miss the row of expensive luxury cars and SUVs motoring through looking for parking. A word to the wise… if you’re staying at the Marriott MountainSide resort… take the Park Hill bus! It’s free and they run every 20 minutes. Therefore, you save all the hassles of trying to find parking!

Nice little town for a stroll

By hockeyaw19 |

Went here on a Sunday and strolled down the main drag. There was a nice farmers market there with vendors selling there wares. The street is lined with shops, restaurants and watering holes - some which are ridiculously over priced and others which look like complete dives. A nice mix for the celebrities that come to sundance to the raggedy group that I was with ;).

Charming town!

By David & Deborah |

We enjoyed our visit. It's a charming town with lots of art, restaurants, fitness apparel etc... We found some great deals & also got a good workout walking around in this mountain town.

Not really worth your visit unless you're going to ski or hike

By JoJoJo |

Park City Main Street Historic District has very little to offer. It is very touristic and inauthentic. There are a couple of good places to eat though. Park City is basically a popular ski resort - not a place of historical interest.

Sundance Film Festival venue

By MRRomanSC |

Not that historic except for the remaining storefronts. Typical "historic" small city downtown - except more upscale stores and pricey restaurants. Unless you are in the area for a film festival, skiing, or checking out how the 5% spends their time, Main Street did doesn't offer anything special. Attractive place to stroll, eat and shop.

Lots of cute shops

By Sandi_Spears |

We enjoyed our shopping trip with plenty of unique boutiques. Cute street. Pretty views. And many food choices. Great way to spend a day.

Lots of fun shops

By guest277 |

A veriey of stores and eating places. Loved that masking was required everywhere and in all the shops! Ate lunch at 501 on Main. Delicious!!!!

Nice afternoon stroll

By Michelle B |

A quaint area with lots of shopping, galleries and restaurants. Has an old west feel, but it’s
hilly so be aware, if you have mobility issues.

Walking in a Winter Wonderland

By Susan B. |

What a charming downtown this is! There are plenty of restaurants but I would recommend making reservations at some of them because they are quite popular. Even though there had been about 3 ft of snow within a few days, the sidewalks were shoveled and everything was open. Where I am from, everything would have been shut down. I enjoyed the area and found the downtown very walkable with plenty to see. The stores offered a little bit of everything.

Sundance fun!

By Bobbie Suzanne F |

What a blast!! Beautiful scenery, great shops and restaurants, amazing nightlife! Endless fun! Movie stars abound! Lol

Nice area for shops, galleries, and restaurants but beware the hill

By Brandon K |

I had the chance to wander Main Street over three days and there are definitely some good and bad sides. First and foremost, it is quite pretty (the street itself and the scenery around it). You can get on the town lift from here as well as shop for clothes, art, food, trinkets, etc. You can also find many of the popular restaurants here or on the streets to either side of Main. It is walkable, but beware the altitude plus the fact that you have to walk straight up hill. I am no marathon runner, but I live at 7000 feet myself and I was still pretty winded after a few blocks straight up hill. Of course, the trip back down is nice. Parking is not nice - many lots are free until evening, but others charge the moment you pull in so choose carefully. I went one day and paid nothing for a couple hours downtown as the lot was free until 6 pm. The next day, I wasn't as lucky and ended up paying $14 for two hours. Then I found another free lot until 5 pm. If you can take advantage of one of the shuttles from a hotel or resort, they will make the experience more pleasant as you just get to wander and sight see.

A good place to visit for a few hours

By TravelerGuest |

Stopped here for a few hours on our way back to SLC from Yellowstone. Took a stroll, went into a lot of shops, bought a few things. Ate a late lunch. Got a parking ticket and not sure why (it was a warning saying this one is on us). Will return if ever in the area again.

Felt Like a Hallmark Christmas Movie

By dfairchild2017 |

I love to do my Christmas shopping at small buisnesses, and downtown Park City was a perfect. There was a light snow flurry which made it even more magical. The shops are unique and everyone is very friendly. We drank a lot of coffee, and enjoyed browsing and spending. We also grabbed tickets for a muscial at the Egyptian Theater which was a great way to end the perfect day.

Beautiful resort town

By Joshua S |

Whether covered in snow or full of sunshine I always love Park City. The bustle of skiers in the snow is just exciting and the snows amazing. Shopping or dining or people watching. So many things to do for everybody

Always a pleasure

By Cgayle98 |

The shops on Main street are full of art, treats and friendly folks. Has not been too crowded when we go despite the tourist nature of this little district.

western in character

By Janice C |

Upscale mountain town with plenty of shops and restaurants. One big hill to climb. Most shops carry items more appropriate to the area rather than for souvenirs.

Awesome town

By Darryl D |

Have visited Park City many times. Always love getting to the Historic District of this former mining town. I like the look of the area with the old buildings and the mountains. Lots of great restaurants and so many interesting shops. One of my favorite towns, and during every season. Warm summer nights or lots of snow for skiing. Love it.

Lovely Park City

By fiamma11 |

I loved Park City. I am not a skier, nor a hiker these days; however, Park City is really pretty. I loved walking around the historic district, photographing and shopping. Bought a lovely Native American silver necklace. I am ready to return.

Don't Miss!!

By cathygypsycc |

This historic street is a throwback to days gone by. Charming old buildings line the Main St. with adorable shops and restaurants. I especially loved Overland sheepskin Co. with their spectacular assortment of coats, hats, gloves and boots! So cozy & warm. Walk across the street to Southwest Indian traders for a feast for your eyes. Oh, the jewelry! The most extensive collection of Native American jewelry I have ever seen. AND lots of cute gifty items, Minnetonka shoes and more.

Main Street rocks!

By Kdawg282 |

A great place to find the action in Park City as there is something for everyone! Lots of shopping and places to eat, along with several bars. This street will not disappoint anything perhaps except for your wallet :). Highly recommend if visiting the area.

You Gotta Go

By TallahasseeMark |

Lots of mixed vibes here. Must see. We visited it four times!
Variety of merchants/restaurants? Yes!
Park City prices? Yes!
I always like to support local businesses. My father owned a local business and supported us kids. I don’t mind paying a little more to shop/eat local, and some here fit into that mindset.
Some did not, but money may not matter to the wealthy.
Go. It is a wonderful experience. Splurge a bit. Enjoy the experience every day you are here.

Quaint little town

By Sharon L |

Such a quaint little walkable town with interesting shops and restaurants. Street parking is easy ... so is paying for the meter...credit cards and texts sent to remind you of how much time is left .

A Really Great Downtown Mainstreet in This Ski Resort

By Grousedoctor |

Lots if fun to walk up and down mainstreet. So many shops and restaurants. Everything is here from fine art galleries to souvenir shops. Plenty of eateries and watering holes for all tastes. Don’t miss the original Banksy on one of the store walls.

You like expensive restaurants and bars?

By freewaymaster |

If so, Park city main street is for you! That's all it is...Expensive restaurants with bad food, and bars every 20 feet. A complete waste of time.

A crowded and hot tourist trap

By Mary D |

While visiting Salt Lake City, we drove here to escape the city heat but it was horribly hot in Park City too. This is a ski town and where some of the events of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games were held. We got to see the ski jumps from a distance but we didn't go into the olympic village. We went to the much hyped Main Street. It was a very long street with a pretty good uphill climb that has an "old town" western architectural flair to the buildings. There are LOTS of shops and restaurants and that's about it. It was so crowded that everyone was tripping over each other on the sidewalks. Rudeness prevailed. As with most tourist towns, everything was overpriced. We had lunch there and it was just not enjoyable at all. This is definitely a tourist trap. Don't go there expecting to have a relaxing time. It was crazy.

Head for the Hill

By KGC307 |

Worth the trip if staying in SLC to walk up and down the hill. Quality shops to browse from Patagonia to local mercantiles. Convenient parking garage and a downtown ski lift.

Little getaway

By Sujith I |

We stayed with Hilton and all the places to shop, eat and ski was within 15 minutes of driving. The walk down the road was awesome and there was Hyatt with an awesome Restaurant even for breakfast on site.Views were amazing

Great first time visit to Park City - plenty to do!

By ron c |

My wife and i travelled to Park City in September after visiting the parks near Moab. We really enjoyed the town. Picturesque, great food joints, stores, and people. We stayed at the doubletree which had a free car shuttle, but also drove around quite a bit. Free trolley throughout the town if you want to take it. We loved our visit.

Great place to visit!!

By DonB2018Ohio |

Thought it was really a neat place in the winter during ski trips I've been on and discovered it to be just as nice in the summer. Lot's of shops, restaurants, and bars to enjoy. One of the nicest things about Park City in general is it's free bus system. You can get around very effectively with town without having to deal with driving or parking.

Great City

By Nancy Miller |

We enjoyed walking around downtown and while we enjoyed several festivals that were going on while we were in Park City. We enjoyed everything we did.

Beautiful stroll among the lights

By Lori B |

We enjoyed walking along main street with all of the lights after our dinner. Many shops, galleries, and souvenir stores open late. Very easy to get to if you take a shuttle or bus from the resort.

Adorable Main Street

By JBVO |

Just adorable. Well taken care of and charming. Charming little area set with a beautiful back drop. So many restaurants, galleries and shops. Only wish that I would have had more time.

Pretty but BUSY

By Sbr3a |

Fun Sunday market. Historic downtown is great. Good shopping.
Pay parking unless park outside of town and bring free shuttle in.

Meh

By Natsy42 |

I probably can’t review this fairly because it’s just really not my thing. It’s crowded and full of expensive shopping and eating. IMHO, it’s not any different or more special than any other crowded, over-priced resort town. Also when you have to walk the direction that is uphill, it’s not any fun at all, now you’re dodging tons of people AND you’re out of breath.

When we come to Park City we typically avoid this section of town because parking is a nightmare, the crowds, and how expensive all the shops and restaurants are.

Great people watching. Park City Silly....

By cannonater |

A nice little way to spend your Sunday morning, lots to do, see and buy. Local vendors, Music and food. Walk up and down the lower end of Main Street. Seasonal so check your dates.

Nice central district to walk around

By B0bK |

Nice district to walk around in a huge change from when I skied here 50 years ago. Most of the shops were not dog friendly which we found unusual for a mountain town.

Still a nice couple of hours walking around and a very good lunch.

Business with Pleasure

By nibaldom2015 |

While here for a conference with my daughters, traveled here to Main Street area. It is a great walkable area, with a variety of shops, restaurants and bars. They also have High West Distillery if your into whisky. The parking can get tough, but it does have a convenient parking garage. This area is a must to come to when in Park City.
