Progressive Field is a very fan friendly stadium. It is good for families to see a baseball game, The staff was friendly and helpfjul.

We enjoy our first visit to Progressive Field ro see the Indians play the Orioles on May 19, 2019. We stayed in a nearby hotel, and were able to walk to the park. Very nice. Plenty of food choices in the park, but expensive. The scoreboard is one of the largest I've ever seen and was absolutely great. Music before that game and between innings was very loud and prevented even conversations with folks seated around you.

Same complaint as someone else-long line/wait for food, getting in took forever.
We had cheap seats up high which didn’t bother us. Had a great view. We stayed a few innings but then hung out at The Corner Bar area in the right field district where you just stand. Fun, entertaining people. However, food lines shorter, guys with the rolling carts of beer where you could just walk up or maybe one or 2 people in front of you.
The stadium is walking distance from many hotels.

This stadium has some of the most interesting and freshest food options in the MLB. Customer service was great too.

Enjoyed a game of The Indians in this beautiful stadium. Great atmosphere too! We booked are ticktets online only 2 hours in advance. I can really recommend this for the ultimate American sports experience.

We went to a Cleveland Guardians game on 7/6. Prior to the game we had lunch at the Southern Tier Brewery. We had a great time. The restaurant was very accommodating. The food was very good. The service was excellent.

I found the fans dedicated, fun anf frendly. The staff friendly and helpfull. This is the first stadiun other than Century link and had a great time. nothing better than a good baseball game

Modern and upbeat stadium with terrific fans. Many, many food choices. Wish there were more choices in the upper level seat areas especially for beer selection because you have to go down several levels to get a beer that is not "lite" which is something I won't drink. Other than that, good stadium

I went with a friend to Progressive Field for a game. I've been to this stadium many times since it opened, having gone to Indians games on and off since the 80s. I guess since I've been there often, I'd lost a little appreciation for what is still "the Jake" to me. My friend, who has been to many stadiums himself, really loved the whole experience here, from the ample food and beer selection to the seating and game atmosphere. It reminded me of why I've always liked to catch a game here.

As ballparks go...this one is just average. The food choices were very limited. The staff there were not helpful at all....no one knew what they were doing and couldn't answer any questions. It was as if it were everyone's first day on the job....very disappointing.

Love heading to the park to cheer on the Indians! Always a good time, great staff and amazing stadium

This stadium was easy to navigate and had a wonderful section for cheaper tickets. $27 to hang out at the bar or sit on outdoor couches. You also had a wonderful view of the stadium! Most visit when in the Cleveland area.

We are 75% complete, seeing all MLB stadiums, and Progressive field slides in just around the bottom of the top half. They are the only ones who have held us, away from virtually the entire stadium, until only 1 hour before game time. We had decent seats in the upper deck, but they did not have cup holders. There are no great views, but the scoreboard is large. The designated driver sodas are 6 oz baby cups, really! Some of the food offerings looked good, but we didn’t buy anything. Also, I mentioned to their guest services they misspelled “can” on every beer sign! They had never noticed, way to go Cleveland.

We were in town and went to game although we are not hometown fans. Nice selection of food and beer. Clean park.

I am not a fan of either of the teams playing, so just went to enjoy a baseball game in a great baseball park. Overall a short walk from most of the downtown area. plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Easy to get in and out of.

It’s too bed the owners have this team as a players farm for other teams, and don’t keep players long enough for the people to know who the players are, and get back behind the team! The food is bad, most of the places sell the same and it’s over priced

Great stadium to see a ball game. Really liked the inner concourse so you could walk around and still see the game, food and beer options were good, and the staff and fans were very friendly. They also had an incredible fireworks show. One of the best I've ever seen.

This is ballpark number 9 for me. I enjoyed the game I attended today. Easy parking, easy to get in, plenty of food options (I had the slider dog, a Cuban dog, and a killer something dog) along with some beer. Water and soda. All good and reasonable priced. Seats were the most comfortable I’ve had as most for be (I’m a big guy) aren’t made for wide ppl but these were. Weather was cloudy but still good for a game. Also, people working at the stadium were very nice and helpful.

We came here on a Wednesday night to watch our White Sox play the Cleveland Indians during our week-long vacation/trip to Ohio. We really liked this ballpark A LOT. They have statues honoring various former players (including one of our favorites Jim Thome). The concourses are very spacious. Our seats were in the club section, which included an all-you-can-eat buffet-style (plus snacks like popcorn and nachos and ice cream as well as soda) and a great view of the field. We sat next to some really friendly Indians fans and in general, fans were decent and nice here.

This is a great venue to see a game. The stadium is great. The staff is friendly and helpful. .... if you are in town ... I’d recommend it.

We have been to a few ball fields around the country. Progressive is beautiful, modern, and very clean. The employees are plentiful, and ready to help you at any time. Food and Beverages are priced reasonably. We cannot say enough for the excellent customer service, and kindness of the employees.

We went to the game last night and had a great experience. We arrived in town from Columbus about 10 minutes before game time and it was still very easy to get in and out. Three notes:
1. We parked at the terminal tower. It is not the easiest parking to find. I think the entrance is on 6th? But you park almost directly below the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. You can park under cover or in the open lot. Walk up steps to the walkway and you are there! Easy exit and parking was $10. My goto place!
2. Yes, food is expensive! My 10-year wanted tenders and only one place has chicken tenders in the whole place. $12. Build-a-burger. Burgers were $13 -$16. Just eat before you go.
3. My 10- year old really wanted to do the speed gun to see how fast he throws. There is a kids area on the 3rd floor. It is fairly nice for real young kids. You must sign a waiver and that process took us 10-minutes...

First time and a Cleveland Indians game, very nice stadium, very open and friendly. great staff, nice clean bathrooms. Good Varieties of food and drinks for the entire family. Parking near by and also quick access to the thruway.

I enjoyed the feel of this ballpark. I don't want to say homey, but it was kind of homey. A lot more food vendor options than I've seen at other ballparks with several alcoholic drink stations where you can find what you are craving. It appears there are lots of great seating areas and options. The Pro Shop is a bit tight, but that's ok I still bought a cool hat. It can get pretty sunny in areas so wear sun screen. I wouldn't miss a chance to see a ballgame here.

This is our second visit to the park and have had a great time on both occasions. Just the right size and very fan friendly.

I've been to a lot of parks in the last couple of years and this ranks among the best in terms of friendly staff, food, aesthetics and ease of negotiating the place. The final score was 1-0, so it wasn't exactly a barnburner of a game, but we still had a great time. If you're staying overnight, opt for the Hilton Garden Inn, just a block up the street.

What is there not to like. Great team, not a bad seat in the park and updates to the dining options that are out of this world. Going to a tribe game is always a good time and is easy on the wallet.

Not as nice as Camden Yards, but I wanted to visit the park while in Cleveland. I thought their beer prices were kinda high, but then I'm not a real drinker, so maybe they're average prices. Food prices were high though. Entering through security was a breeze and staff helped be find my seats behind home plate. Very nice guy. Park was clean and was within walking distance of my hotel. We stopped at a few places on the way back through downtown.

Always try to make at least one game during the summer at The Jake. I travel for work so sometimes its difficult to get there early in the season. But there is no better place to watch a ball game. It will always be the Jake to me. GO TRIBE

Sat in the family section of this overall nice ballpark. Some bird dropped a load all over my sleeve and on the girl’s white shirt in front of me. Overall good signage, seat comfort, security, concessions, but nothing spectacular. It was not as easy to walk around and explore as AT&T, Geat America, Kauffman, or Comerica. Location in Cleveland was a plus!

This is a nice little baseball field joint located in Ohio. The place was easy to get into and it was clean. The prices were very reasonable.
Only this I didn’t like were the bathroom! No stalls! Highly likely getting perked in on.

We had a great night at the ball park even though the Guardians lost 2-1. It had rained right before the game but our seats had been wiped down by personnel and were dry as can be. We sat in Section 458, Row C, Seats 14-15, between third base and home plate. Our sight line was great and we were close to rest rooms. We had hot hot dogs (not always hot in other experiences at other parks) at a fair price. The park was an easy walk from our downtown hotel. There were several promotional activities before and during the game and the fans were engaged and fun.

Progressive Field has really lost its appeal over the years. Where are the smiles? I love Indians baseball but Progressive Field has really went downhill. Ticket prices have gotten out of hand. Concessions are average at best and the staff seems apathetic. I live in Central Ohio and tend to go to more Reds games because Great American Ballpark is so.much more fan friendly.

My baseball loving cousins were here from Arlington, TX, and were quite enthusiastic about booking a visit to Progressive Field. As a Cleveland newcomer, I had not been there yet. But, with electronic ticket from Stub Hub on one of the phones, we set off for a big evening. Whoa!! We were all absolutely thrilled with our experience. They visit baseball stadiums all across the country, true baseball tourists, and I am a newbie. But, the evening was thrilling for everyone.
To begin, the staff at Progressive field is absolutely amazing. They are smartly dressed, friendly, professional, and helpful. From the security staff at the gates to ushers and vendors, we had a delightful experience as participants in a large public gathering. Hats off as well to the security staff outside the venue who handled both foot and vehicular traffic so expertly. There was a question about one item in one of my guests pockets - this was handled quickly and professionally. The team at Progressive Field clearly has the public best interests at heart, but also makes sure that all interactions leave guests feeling positive and having fun. Well done!
The stadium is a perfect size. We had great seats behind home plate, but it seemed like every seat is close enough to play to make viewing quite easy. The electronic signage is colorful and engaging, and the interplay between the fans/crowds and the displays was also fabulous. There was a camera operator who did an absolutely brilliant job of capturing both play and also crowd shots. So many fans and spectators had their photos on the big screen, watching them was a significant part of the evening's fun.
Interestingly, we were seated close to about six men, all of whom seemed to be "scoring" the game. They were clearly not rooting or cheering for either of the teams, but watching with reams of paper, pens, clipboards, and taking copious notes. So, there is some serious research or observation going on at the games as well.
Mostly, though, everyone was there to have fun. Fans turned out in great numbers, especially for a week night. There were lots of kids, college students, couples, and even grannies! There is fun, food, and opportunity for everyone to have a great night In fact, that was what was one of the things that was so impressive as a newcomer. I assumed a baseball game would be all about the sports. The teams and level of play was, of course, impressive. But, the venue and experience is designed for families and everyone is included.
Notably, the stadium is accessible for all guests. If you have a wheelchair or disabled fan, don't hesitate to come out and enjoy the game.
We especially liked how the pennants and player numbers were displayed so that previous seasons and important players have a memorial in the stadium. Super well done for making baseball history, and the teams' history, part of every visit for every fan today.
We were thrilled with our evening. I'll definitely take future guests to games and look forward to my next visit to progressive field. In the meantime, my cousins realize what a gem we've got here in Cleveland. They know baseball and stadiums and could not say enough positive things about how it all comes together at Progressive Field.

Overall it was a decent ballpark… and oldie but goodie - using all available space they can in a smaller ballpark!
Nothing to write home about in terms of food.
Plenty of parking near by and easy to walk to!
Free water stations around was very appreciated.

We wanted to see a new stadium in a Cleveland’s game while from out of town. Everything was very clean and employees friendly. It’s a nice venue. Friday was one dollar Sugardale hotdogs night and two dollar Miller light beers. You can’t beat that. You had to wait in some lines in and get them while they lasted. Everyone got a free T-shirt of one of the players named Ramirez. They also have the three Sugardale hotdogs mascots roaming around and we were able to take good pictures from our seats. Scoreboard nice and bright. Interactive music and games on screen while waiting on between innings. Beyond fantastic fireworks at end. Clean plentiful restrooms and nice gift shop. Lovely venue

I traveled to Cleveland for work last week and needed something to do in the evening, so I was happy to hear that the Indians were at home. I walked to the field and went to the box office to try to but a "district ticket", which basically means that it's standing room only in the Right Field outfield, but has quick access to a bar area and a lot of railing to set your drink down at. The box office informed me that I had to buy these through the MLB Ballpark app, so I quickly downloaded it and got my ticket. This ticket also comes with a free small beer from the bar, but I forgot to redeem this benefit. Otherwise, the stadium is nice and sightlines are good. The stadium is well-kept and clean.

Interesting tour. Got to go to the batting cages since the team was out of town. The tour didn't hit some of the other park highlights though. A little disappointed. (May 2019)

I don't believe there is a bad seat in the house. If you are outside and something happens inside and the crowd roars you get chill bumps. Food is good. Prices are ball park prices.

We found it easy to park. Good seat everywhere in the park. We sat in bleachers and loved it. All kind of intereting food options. Friendly folks even tho, we were rooting for the other team.

We visited the stadium to watch the Red Sox play the Indians. What an amazing stadium ! We had seats in the family deck - perfect! Great view, we could see both bull pens. There are plenty of restrooms around too.
Even though we were rooting for the opposing team, everyone was very nice and respectful.

Sat in the club level seats on our visit to Progressive Field. These seats include all inclusive food and beverage. I was really impressed with the variety and quality of food offered. Plenty of options for kids including popcorn, pretzel bites, peanuts, and ice cream. Large seating area inside was air conditioned and allowed the kids to get out of the sun. There is limited shade in the stadium so bring sunscreen and a sun hat. Friday night fireworks were awesome and these seats offer an excellent view of the firework show. Great ballpark.

Progressive Field is absolutely amazing. The stadium is well-manicured well-designed and the sight lines from anywhere in the facility are quite good. The price structure for the tickets, for even the seats closer to the action, is very reasonable.
There is plenty of concession for any fan of baseball and let's face it who can be $2 beers 2 hours before a game?
The screen is one of the largest and most clear I have seen in any of the major league baseball parks I have visited.

Clean stadium with lots of staff. Not a lot of creative for options though. Mostly traditional ballpark food with the exception of like two small stands for tacos and BBQ. Highly recommend the chicken tenders and fries for $12.50 from the traditional ballpark food stand. Great selection of hats in the gift shop. Not a bad seat in the place!

The whole vibe of the stadium is great. A real old school intimate feel with new amenities and terrific view!

Went to a three game series and very impressed. The park was walking distance from our hotel. We felt safe before and after games. The park entry was easy and relatively quick. The staff was generally helpful (even to obvious visiting fans). Our seats on the first base side (lower box) gave a great view of the game. Our last game (on the club level) included food and beverages. The weather for the weekend was very warm. Definitely needed sunscreen for the two day games. The Wall of Fame displays in center field were very impressive. Particularly liked the top 100 Indian plaques.

Always enjoy a game in Cleveland, great food, easy walk from our hotel. And Cleveland fans are super friendly. Been to Boston and got hassled every time.

We definitely want to return to Progressive Field for another ball game! We had such a great time! We experienced the Club seats, which came with all-you-can eat food! Wow! What a deal! We were able to eat so much that night, and not worry about the ball park prices of food and beverage (non-alcoholic). We would definitely do it again! Prior to the game, we were literally the first fans in the park for batting practice. 2 of my 3 boys got balls during batting practice. I spoke with 2 of the ushers in right field area (Bill Williams and another gentleman named Virgil). Both of these men were so friendly, helpful, and provided such good advice for our first time visiting Progressive Field. They made me feel like I was the only fan there and they provided me with helpful tips to experience! We are talking about going to another game this season to experience it all again! All workers were so friendly - every worker we experienced! The crowd was light, since it was April 4 - so that was nice too!

We enjoyed an Indians' come from behind walk off win a week or so ago. We had great seats mid way up the first deck on the first base side. Had a two hour rain delay but still enjoyed out time. The concession area is very spacious and there isn't a bad seat in the house.

Wonderful ballpark by every measure! Great atmosphere, seats and views, amenities, scoreboards and stats, just a really great vibe. Had a fabulous time and can't wait to go back. Very family friendly.

We enjoyed watching the Indians beat the Angels, but were very disappointed in the food. Not only were the offerings very limited, but the quality was terrible. We've been to MANY ball parks, and have never experienced bad ball park food.

Nice ball park. Disappointed in how the staff allowed people to move up and down the aisle throughout the game which hindered the view of the game .

Progressive Field is a great place to catch a game if you are an Indians fan or a fan of the opposing team! It is easy to get to, parking is very accessible, and the park is clean and very well mantained. Prices are comparable to most other major league fields, and there is a great variety of food. Near the field are some excellent local places to grab some food or a drink too!

A great venue in downtown Cleveland to watch baseball! There are plenty of hotel options and restaurants within walking distance. Parking can be an issue for day games during the week, so arrive early. Traffic can back up at the East 9th St exit but there are other exits that can save you time. My Waze app saved me more than an hour by avoiding this exit.
We arrived before the gates opened, there were long lines, but moved fairly quickly. There are many nontraditional baseball food options in the right field district and along the third base line.
I prefer seats on the first base line as you have a great view of the huge scoreboard and downtown skyline.

Excellent place to see a game - went to see Phillies play two games against the tribe. Park was very clean, food prices a little expensive but hey it’s a ball game. Seating is great no matter wheee you sit. Fireworks after game was huge, one of the best I saw. Indian fans were great also.

The experience is wonderful. The food is less so. Lots of baseball stadium fare, but we need a few healthy suggestions. Everyone seems so well behaved and the peope who work here are helpful!

Nice ballpark. The views are great and the parking is very convenient for a city location. Everyplace has a great view.

Great place to see a ball game. Clevelanders are tremendous Indians, all fans wearing their Indians garb for the game. One of the new stadia in the US and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the game I went to.

What an atmosphere!! The cheering, food, and people.
We were in the Corporate Box and everything was superbly organised.
The big screen and the camera worked overtime to get the people on the screen.
My first experience but surely a memorable one.
Great place for Sunday family outing

Went to an afternoon Indians game and was greatly impressed with the ballpark. From the moment we arrived (we were captivated by the pre-game activities. There is great variety of good food available. As it was an afternoon game with high temperatures and a searing sun we were impressed by the free ice cups available to all. The staff was very friendly and also quite helpful. We enjoyed the game and the home team won as it should be.

Had a wonderful time at a Cleveland Guardians game. The weather was great, Guardians won against the Angels. It was a great game. The stadium was easy to walk and get to you seats I walk with a cane and a lovely staff member, Michael, help me up and down the steps to our seats. He was entertaining as walked and talked. Thanks Michael for your help.

The staff at this park is AMAZING! Friendly and knowledgeable, they were welcoming and engaged when we needed them.
One minus— food was spread out in such odd dribbles and spurts it was like going to a progressive dinner just to eke out a meal!

Whether you’re a fan of Chief Wahoo or not; seeing a ball game at Progressive Field is a great and a summer ritual. If you’re a foodie, you’ll love the numerous options of tacos, pizza, gourmet dogs & so, SOOOO many other food options. And don’t forget the Cleveland original — Bertman’s Brown stadium mustard.

We drove from Buffalo to Cleveland for an overnight trip to see a Guardians game. We arrived at the park an hour early just to walk around and check out the stadium. It was free blanket giveaway night which was a nice surprise to get one upon entering the front gates.
We walked around and I was blown away they were selling cans of Miller Lite for $2.00 a can, you could drink alot very cheap if you like Miller Lite, I am assuming it is made in Ohio that's why it's so cheap as all the other beers are $9.50 to $12.00. They had a great selection of other restaurants and food choices as well.
The hallways are super wide and alot of them are covered. There is also a section that has an open feel with lots of round and square tables with chairs you can sit at the enjoy the game if you want to wander and not sit in your seats.
I purchased my tickets on seat geek and boy were they great seats we were on the third baseline 2 rows up from dugout. We were enjoying ourselves when all of a sudden the big screen in the outfield read GAME DELAY DUE TO COMING BAD WEATHER.....BUMMER !!!! The game was supposed to start at 6:05 and it rained and rained and rained. They did not want to cancel or postpone as the next day they already had a double header from a previous rain out. We waited and waited and waited for the rain to pass......FINALLY the big screen read FIRST PITCH AT 9:05 which was three hours after it was delayed. We didn't want to leave because if we did then we would not have gotten our money back for tickets. The only way you get $ back from Seat Geek isif the game is postponed or cancelled so we stuck it out as we had driven over 3 hours for the game.
Then it started to rain again in the bottom of the 7th inning so we decided to walk back to our hotel as we had no rain gear and we were getting wet, and it was raining harder and harder the closer we got to our hotel
My issue (my own fault) we left and had no idea there were fireworks following the game. We heard the first loud boom from our room 2 blocks away and those fireworks went on for about a good solid 20 minutes and the whole time they sounded like the finale, I was so disappointed we missed them !!!
We are planning on a game again next summer hoping for hot summer weather...but all in all it was a great stadium

awesome time, of course it helped that we won lol but it was a great time. Food was a little pricey but there is nothing like a hot dog at a ball game

This was our ninth major league stadium and I was very impressed. I enjoyed the statues and displays of the Indian Greats as well as the food selection. Without a doubt, the best fireworks display that I have ever seen. Prices were reasonable on cocessions.

Wonderful time with a small group who traveled down from Canada to see the game. Great facility, fun activities, fireworks, dollar dogs, all in all a fun fun night!

As baseball parks go, this is one pf the best major league parks. They work hard to entertain between innings, and the food choices are great! The seats are roomier than most as well, and the stadium is well laid out for easy access.

Went to an Indians game ona rainy week night. They confiscated my wife's lsrge, expensive umbrella. Very little cover in upper deck. We got soaked. They postponed the game. Very limited raincheck policy. Ony three rather poor games available to exchange our tickets. One of our worst Progressive Field experiences.

I have been wanting to go to the old "Jake" since it first opened and finally in July, I made it happen on a HS graduation celebration trip with my son. Great sightlines, great food and a great fan base. We enjoyed every minute.

Hadn't been there since 2015 so there were a few changes. I couldn't find Jim Thome's statue.... It's nice you can walk all the way around now. Our seats were GREAT! I do love this ballpark.

Fantastic ballpark, they try hard to entertain between innings. The food is generally very good although like most ballparks, arenas and stadiums the cost is very inflated especially for beverages.

We did a road trip to see the Tigers play the Indians and attended 2 games. The park is nice. There are LOTS of food choices. The seats are comfortable. The people were extremely friendly and several welcomed us to their city. The ballpark is located right in downtown Cleveland.

Saw my first Indians games and I was not disappointed. Great atmosphere, great food and great game! Stadium was very nice and I don't have nothing negative to say. Keep it up!

Overall not bad. Park is starting to get some age as it was one of the first ballparks with character. I want to say it was built sometime in the early 90s. So, the park has that character but not some of the amenities of the newer ones. There was construction going on when we went so we weren’t able to walk around to the front of the stadium. We are in the process of touring all the ballparks and at this point we’ve been to about 20 or so and I would put this one mid pack. Not a bad ballpark but nothing out of the ordinary that we saw. The newer waves of parks have large restaurant and bar areas outside of the stadium that enhances your experience. We found nothing like that like that here which is no big deal but we also didn’t find that in stadiums like Houston and Kansas City. Overall a very good experience. fans are very passionate and friendly which is common in baseball parks.

This is a must do when in Cleveland.
Great view and seats.
The stadium is in a great location and is close to several places to eat and drink.
Easy parking in the area.
Prices are reasonable.

Good food, drink and a view for this new ball park. they have wonderful food and beverage choices and the Club Lounge seats offer all you eat food and non-alcoholic. great if you have hungry children or big eaters. great seats come with these tickets and the service is outstaning.

I am a devoted Cleveland Guardians fan, but Progressive Feld is not a greet venue. ADA seating is nearly impossible to get in advance, yet you can go fan services, wait for a while and get a seat. My ADA seat was BAD. The seat swivel didn't work so I sat in an aisle. fans were rue standing in front of me, so I only saw about 40% of the action. Even when people were seated, the sightlines were poor as about 10% of the field couldn't be seen. There is nothing that the Guardians can do about the sightlines, but they could sure work on ADA seating policies and fan behavior. Ticket and concession prices have gotten out of hand making it difficult for middle class families to attend games. I will remain a Guardians fan but I live in central Ohio and Reds games are much more fan friendly.

Progressive Field (originally Jacob’s Field) is now 25 years old, but it still seems fresh. The distinctive light poles represent the Cleveland steel industry, which is right across the freeway. They keep renovating and adding features, like new bullpens. The new home plate club behind home plate really opened up that whole area. The food stands represent the Cleveland neighborhoods with local favorites served up, like Melt grilled cheese and Sweet Moses ice cream.

Progressive field is a very fan friendly stadium. I have sat in numerous locations, near and far from field and good views are everywhere.
If you want a unique experience during an Indians game, go to right field near foul pole, a line forms to get a wrist band to sit in the field box that was formerly the visitors bull pen. You can sit down there for one complete inning. A great view and perspective from right field.

I recently went to an Indians game at Progressive Field . I was in the club section and it was a great experience .
This section has been remodeled sense my last visit . The new layout is much better .
The food was excellent and the game was great ( Indians Won ! )
I recommend taking in a game if you get a chance .

Progressive Field was the first of the retro-modern ballparks that began appearing in the 1990's, and it is a beautiful place to take in a game.
Sadly, it is also the most nit-picky ballpark I have ever been to. My wife and I have brought water to many MLB parks many times without issue. It's water. We were told we had to pour our water bottle out before we could enter Progressive Field. Further, the gate agent informed me that although my 300 mm camera lens was technically forbidden, he wasn't going to make an issue of it. Soon after entering, I was approached by another fan, who asked if I'd gotten a permit for the lens, as she apparently had been hassled about hers. I've never had as many (any!) issues entering a major league stadium as I did at Progressive Field.
With that said, once we found our seats, we had no further issues of any kind (other than a lack of vendors selling craft beer or decent-sized hotdogs...there was plenty of the Yellow Fizzy Stuff and kid-sized hotdogs to be had) and even the nit-picky staff members were courteous and professional.

We were in town and decided to take in a ball game. The park is downtown in the heart of everything. We used Uber to get there but there are parking lots nearby if you want to pay. The seats were good. I like to walk around the park and take in the sights. There are plenty of food and drink options in the park. They also run a 50/50. I loved the atmosphere and the fans. I’d definitely see another game here.

We stayed across the street from this ball park . So it was convenient to get to the game. The staff at the park was helpful.

Wonderful Ballpark that is kid and family friendly. If you have kids, you must go to kids area at the ball park, where kids can find out how fast they can pitch, how well they can bat against a MLB player, how high they can jump, and generally run, jump and play. Typical ballpark food.

Excellent French bistro. Just around corner from Glidden House where we stayed. Best food of our trip. Realistically priced. Very good wait staff.

Great variety of food and drinks. Was dollar hot dog night and there was a Tom Petty tribute with fireworks after the game....how can you go wrong!?!

Not a bad seat in the house. In fact I already bought tickets for some games this summer. The field and stands are beautiful and the food is great.

Enjoyed our time at Progressive Field. The bathrooms and the park overall could use an upgrade. The park is huge! Definitely had a lot of room to space fans out with COVID protocols. There could also be more of a variety of concessions and beer (or maybe it was because things were closed due to Covid) but we still enjoyed our time. Would go back!

My husband and I traveled from Pennsylvania to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and decided to take in a game at Progressive Field. We are both huge baseball fans (he's a Yankees fan, I'm a Phillies fan), and we jumped at the chance to see a game at a new park. We got reasonable tickets through GovX, although we were surprised to find we would be sitting on the bleachers below the scoreboard. The view of the field was excellent, however, so we quickly got over the numbness in our rear ends.
Everyone we encountered was quite friendly, and our only complaint is about the food options. We came to a ballpark wanting to go up to a stand, get hot dogs/fries/soda, perhaps in a combo, and instead we found gourmet stands EVERYWHERE. Gourmet hot dogs. Gourmet sauerkraut. Gourmet grilled cheese! When we asked for a stand that simply sold hot dogs/burgers/sausage, etc, there wasn't one. We had to go to a specific stand. Apparently the idea is to highlight local vendors/food providers, but that's not why I go to a baseball game. We finally found a burger stand, where we got two orders of chicken fingers/waffle fries and two souvenir cup sodas...and paid $41. We've been to various other MLB parks and are aware of the high prices, but that was ridiculous for what we got. A real disappointment.

This is a beautiful stadium, well laid out. There is a fair amount of parking nearby, although this is definitely in the middle of a busy downtown area. The craft beer options are great, very local. The food is decent but tends more toward regular ballpark staples than more local options.

Really enjoyed our first Cleveland Indians game at Progressive Field. Fan Services treated these Texas fans royally!

We LOVE traveling to Progressive Field (the Jake) for a weekend series.
Arrive Early for the Block Party - We arrive to the games 2 hours before it starts. We love to hang out and listen to the band, watch warm ups and enjoy some $2 adult beverages. We also bring an empty soft sided cooler. We then purchase and stockpile our $2 miller light cans in said cooler to take to our seats after the first pitch (when beers become $5). We use of "savings" to buy lower lever behind home plate seats from StubHub (generally MLB.com doesn't have as good of a selection). The Park is always clean and the concessions range for ballpark classics to trendy local hits like the pork belly and pulled pork sandwich topped with bacon jam, barbecue sauce, green apple slaw and Flamin' Hot Cheetos from Throwing Smoke.

We really enjoyed our visit to Progressive Field. It’s a great, traditional ballpark. There were great food and ice cream options. We bought the special cups for free refills all night on pop, which was worth it since it was so hot. There is a ‘kids area’ upstairs where you have to register, but you can get inside (in an air conditioned area) with small children for a little while. There’s a seating area and a slide, etc. This was a great way to take a break from the heat.

Our kids ate the pork nachos with sold white cheese & other toppings over the course of an hour. It was big. We drank the local beer. (We asked to sit where the shade will be at the 6:40 game. It was along the 3rd base side). The kids came home with a free t-shirt that they caught. (And we were sitting way up). The next thing we knew, we were on the big screen! The staff was all super friendly. Very comfortable seats. We won the game (because of the Guardians being so good). Love that they still play the organ. It really helps keep things moving.

It's always a great time for baseball! The Cleveland Indians are a great team! I've never had a bad time in the stadium ever! It's clean and friendly! Game time is always on time! Regardless weather they win or lose, you can't go wrong coming to an Indians game in Cleveland! For those of you that like hockey, next door is the arena with the lake Erie monsters! It's an awesome time, cheap fun ! These kid's play hard for there job's, please support all hockey teams! It's a great way to spend an evening!

Very beautiful field. Had very good seats. Stadium seems cramped. Aisles are very narrow. We missed 2 1/2 innings of the game by going to retrieve some food!! We noticed the people in front of us left for a few innings and came back with food. Didn’t think much about it, but when we went to get food, we realized why they were gone so long. Long, slow lines at every single vendor!! We divided up and stood in different lines. Food vendor employees were very slow and inept. Like I said, it took us 2 1/2 innings to get our food. I was so disappointed. If you go, leave earlier than you expect so that you can deal with the long parking process. We thought we would really early and be able to look around before the game. They were singing the National Anthem while standing in security line to get in.

As the second "retro" MLB stadium ever built, Progressive Field still has a lot of charm after 30 years. Behind center field is Heritage Park, a cool plaza with plaques and statues honoring Cleveland's numerous greats and hall-of-famers. There are several areas to stand and watch the game besides the stands, and there are some additional "social" areas currently under construction.
The ballpark was pretty full and the fans were really into the game. Perhaps it was just my spot in the upper deck, but it seemed like the seats were really tight. There are a wide variety of concessions. I like to collect a souvenir cup from each ballpark I visit, and unfortunately, there were none to be had the day I was there--a mild inconvenience, but still disappointing.
I parked in the Tower City garage, which was reasonable and an easy walk through a pedestrian tunnel to Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. Overall, this is a solid ballpark with good amenities and an engaging atmosphere.

if you appreciate good baseball served up by a customer service staff which is as also a FAN this is the spot for you An old-fashioned style ballyard with THANK YOU written all over it

Nice environs. Clean and professionally operated. Lots of beer but over priced (I guess that's what you get at any sports venue these days). Staff overall is friendly and helpful. I like going there and I've never really had a bad experience. My only criticism is that at the food service places there seem to be a lot of people who are just standing around and not trying to facilitate serving the food and moving the line. I prefer buying from the vendors who work the seats as they seem more motivated. Again, overall a good place to go.

Had a wonderful experience watching great baseball in Cleveland. It was a little challenging to park, and I attended a day game to accommodate any problems. I also went in an hour earlier to see Heritage Park. Cool the way you can see the bull pen close up, near Heritage Park. Have a slider dog - hot dog with bacon, mac and cheese and fruit loops!

Not my favorite stadium in the MLB, but better than most. Good view of the game from most spots. Good food/refreshments.

Even the cheap seats are great! Uber down to stadium. We got some tickets and went into the bleacher seats those were pretty good seats crowd was good plenty of entertainment throughout the game we’re very happy we made this game

We don't get to many games, but always enjoy the excitement of Progressive Field and Cleveland Indians Baseball. Great food vendors, good prices and fan friendly atmosphere

The reason for visiting Cleveland was to come take in a few Cleveland Indians games. Indians fans are awesome!

I had been to The Jake about 15 years ago. It's now Progressive field. Very nice ballpark and a fun, major league experience.

One of the best ball parks I have been to. We had club seats and the food was every good. We weren't prepared for the crowds the first night but was for the second night. Only thing I have to say is if you have club seats, get there early or you won't get a table to enjoy the food stations. There isn't enough seating.

I am not a regular ball game attendee. But I was invited to a suite and I really liked it. The deserts they have is amazing.
The field is kind of open, you can see it from all angles almost.

My team was the visiting team but everyone was super nice. We got dollar dogs and a staff member told us about 2 dollar beers. How can you pass up dollar dogs and 2 dollar beers. It was also fan appreciation night and they gave out so much. We took home an autographed ball. The block party in right field to start the game was awesome. It was a party atmosphere. The post game fireworks took time to start which was the only negative. Overall glad I was able to check out this park.

It was Memorial Day today, and we had bought tickets for our baseball game. We were sitting RIGHT behind home plate. It was not the best seat in the stadium. The inside of the stadium was huge!!!!! The food was perfect for the game, they had soft pretzels, they had hot dogs and hamburgers. If you want a good seat, you should probably purchase seats in the upper deck INSTEAD of the lower deck. The food was mid ranged, and we got bracelets for the home plate club (located in the lower deck zone). If you love Cleveland sports, this is for you. The Indians won the game. Great game.

Old stadium that looks like it needs an upgrade. We spent 3 hours waiting for it to rain as they delayed game but never came thru. Showing age

Discount Drug Mart Club includes buffet, lounge, & great seats. It is a nice stadium, with good selection of food options in the club. It does take a little time to get in. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Wonderful place to go. Go tribe! Hot dogs are great! Burgers not so good clean and fun. Very easy to get to

Lifelong Indians fan got to attend her first Indians game :) Beautiful venue to see a game! The stadium is wonderful - from Heritage Park (though Rocky Colavito is missing...much to my dad's disappointment!) to the fantastic seats in left field. The staff was amazing - not a frown to be seen! Everyone was friendly and helpful.

We have one of the cleanest, most friendly ballfields in the country. The Cleveland Indians' home is always neat and tidy with aisle staff who take their jobs seriously. They politely make patrons wait during at-bat's and there really is no bad view in the whole stadium. So much great food from which to choose. Note: Hot coffee and cocoa can be found at gate C, I have not found it anywhere else.

We had a great time at the game. They had great ice cream.
The park is very pretty and easy to get around in. We walked all around downtown for two days and felt very comfortable in the area.

I haven't been to a game in forever. BY luck we were in Cleveland for a few days staying at the port at the water. It was a bit of a walk but totally worth it.We purchased tickets the day before, not too cheap either, typical prices for this kind of place. The game being at night and in July, the sun was setting in the West. It was hot out. We were absolutely tortured by the sun, so don't sit on that side. The food all good, as well as the beer. The lighting great and the entry and exit Ok if your walking. The pricing of all foods and booze high as to be expected. Shirts and hats on the road cheaper than inside whether they were real or not I dont know. Clean place, lots of fun. I would recommend it.

These days, ballparks have to be more than just baseball to please their wide array of visitors. This is certainly no less true at the famous "Corner of Carnegie and Ontario". There is a kids play area, so many food vendors you lose count, exclusive club seating, heritage park to learn about Indians legends and more.
As of August 2018 Progressive Field is "Sensory Inclusive". Sensory challenges often are experienced by those with autism, dementia, PTSD and similar conditions. Noise and over-stimulation can trigger the anxiety.Gameday staff, which include ambassadors and fan-services employees, have been trained to recognize fans with sensory needs and how to handle a sensory overload situation. Sensory bags equipped with noise-canceling headphones, fidget tools, verbal cue cards and weighted lap pads will be available for anyone who might feel overwhelmed by the environment.
**TIPS FROM A LOCAL**
We have maybe, no I think really THE best announcer in all of baseball. His name is Tom Hamilton. Look him up on YouTube for proof. Take an FM radio if you're really going to watch the game and some earbuds. Tune into WMMS local 100.7 or AM WTAM 1100 to hear Tom call the game like no one else. He is treasured by Indians fans. You may want to look up John Adams too, because he'll be there banging on his drum. He and the drum are so much a part of the family, they get free season tickets :)
Buy tickets well in advance of big games - Yankees, Red Sox, Tigers are usually hard to get closer to game day. Cleveland is host for the 2019 ALL STAR GAME - and I'm pretty sure it's already sold out as of writing this in Sept 2018. You can get a "district" ticket which includes one beverage, for $13, but those are for the bar/standing room only area. You can also buy "promo passes" for a small additional amount - if you don't want to rush and be one of the first xThousand fans to receive whatever promo they're offering that day, a promo pass gets you that item guaranteed for up to 3 hours after the game starts.
MLB and the Indians have decided to discontinue using Chief Wahoo as the team's logo but we're told merchandise will still be sold with Wahoo after 2019 so form your opinions accordingly.
If I have one negative to state about the ballpark, I will say that I usually sit in the cheaper bleacher seats and unless you're in the lower bleachers and willing to crane around to look at the scoreboard above you, you can't see player stats, birthday etc. as you otherwise might. Personally, I find the scoreboard useful, so I miss that feature and wish they would install (obviously smaller) screens on the first base line which is opposite the bleachers.

This stadium was very nice. There are ample food choices. It’s easy to get to. The site lines are good. And they built it in a nice spot. An enjoyable evening.

Went to see White Sox at Indians game at Progressive field. The Indians were already eliminated from the post season and the White Sox already clinched so nothing was really on the line. Lots of White Sox fans here. Good, 1 run game (Indians lost). Great seats on first base. They had the most giveaways I’ve ever seen. Different sections got hats, shirts, bobble heads. We got a Blanket, a lanyard, and some foam fingers. Nice, clean ballpark, great walkable downtown location, subdued fans (no pennant hopes will do that) and lots of plaques with Cleveland Indians history in the ballpark. Very few family type places to eat nearby - everything is bars.

The place had a modern feel and vibe to it. Also was good not to have loud blaring music like other stadiums subject fans to. Even though the Indians were fighting for a playoff spot, the fans were pretty low-key and not rowdy, which was fine.

Very nice ballpark that the city can be proud of. Good views from almost any seat in the park. Good variety of food choices.

Always a good time at the Indian's game. Progressive Field has really been updated in past few years. Facilities are kept clean. Staff is always helpful. Eating places have been upgraded also. Lots to choose from. Everyone should try to take in an Indian's game every year. There's nothing like being at the ballpark. Go Tribe!!!!

Our Family (wife and 3 boys) are on a MLB Ballpark Tour and we visited Progressive last week. We had a fantastic experience on a Friday night with great weather. We were also there for dollar hot-dogs and Fireworks Friday. There's plenty of activities to do for young children and the statues outside the park illustrate Cleveland's rich baseball history. We've been to 14 stadiums and there's nothing bad I can say about our experience at Progressive Field - it was a very "american" baseball experience. If you want to watch a game with a strong baseball tradition and good fans, Cleveland fits that description. Nothing jumps out as being above average in comparison to other places we've been but there's also nothing below average. You'll enjoy your experience here if you're a baseball fan or not.

Great place to go for a girls night out or a couples date. Great food and great staff. This is the place to go for a great night out

Cleveland literally laid out the red carpet for the AL and NL All-Stars -- over a mile in the downtown area!!

Wonderful stadium with a great atmosphere. Not a bad seat in the place!! Plenty of options for food and drink around the stadium for pre-game, as well as numerous options within the park. Fireworks that night were fantastic. Overall, great ballpark experience. Totally recommend catching a game if in Cleveland.

Progressive Field is a great experience. The Indians go all out to keep the fans entertained. There is live music, great concessions, and not a bad seat in the house.
They also have lots of plaques and statues of their famous players from the past, including an area called Heritage Park that is sort of an Indians hall of fame.
We really enjoyed the game and the facilities.
It was a Sunday day game so there were lots of families in attendance.

Going to a baseball game with a 1 year old isn’t a relaxing outing. But we have visited several with our daughter in this past year, and Progressive Field is definitely the most kid-friendly we’ve experienced. The free Kids a club was great to run off energy before and during the game. It is geared for mostly 2-5 year olds, which is fine because we’re hoping she loves baseball enough to sit it out with us after that. There were also other fun kids activities in the kids area concourse where we were seated, but she was too young to try them this trip. We’ll definitely visit again and take advantage of the many amenities the stadium has to offer.

If you love sports and/or baseball, check out this park. Take a few moments also to read and see some of the historical notes around the park.

I’m biased - but Progressive field really nails it with the baseball experience. Formerly Jacobs field - it has come a long way especially in recent years with the new Corner Bar. You can buy a “bar” ticket for like $12 and redeem your ticket for a free tall bud light. Throw in a hot dog and you have dinner and 3+ hours of fun for under $20.

I have been really impressed with Progressive Field in recent visits. The lower seating area is cozy with super sightlines. The concessions are fantastic. Bring your wallet. Nothing about Progressive Field is cheap. Expect to pay a lot for parking, tickets, and concessions. Avoid the upper deck as rows are steep and the concession selrction is not as good. Kudos to the Indians for making the fan experience better.

We attending national baseball card day. Clean and open stadium. Felt cozy and traditional. Food was reasonably priced and really good. Pretzel was soft and hot. Drinks were nice and cold.

Bleacher seats still give you a reasonable view of the game, but if you’re a fan of technology and love to watch the big screen, you’ll be craning your head constantly to check it out.

We were in town visiting family and decided to catch a game at Progressive Field. We are Red Sox Fans and they were playing Cleveland the night we purchased tickets. We had a great evening! No bad seats at this park. It is beautifully maintained, well-staffed, had great food selection. Love that it is located in the heart of downtown. We stayed at a hotel two blocks away and loved the fact that we could walk over to the field. There did seem to be plenty of parking for anyone driving in. The surrounding area seemed clean and very safe. Lots to do and see in downtown Cleveland. Definitely go to a game at Progressive Field if you get the chance.

We enjoyed our visit to watch the Indians (soon to be Guardians) play.
The stadium itself is nice and clean. We set in section 134 and enjoyed the view. However the stadium is designed in such a manner that it looks like it’s a nice view from the upper decks
I strongly recommend you pre pay for a parking pass when you order tickets - the parking garage is safe and connected to the stadium

I loved visiting Progressive Field! Yes, I was there for the ball game but I truly had a better time walking around the facility. It helped that it was dollar dog night so I could indulge in my All American favorite! I brought a really cute T-shirt from one of the vendor shops. The restrooms were very cleaned and smelled good.
I loved how they have text games for the fan where you can win fun gifts! I can’t wait for my next trip.

We caught a game on a Sunday afternoon. From the ticket office to seat attendants, the staff were friendly and helpful. The seats had good sightlines and, although quite hot when we first sat down, were comfortable. There are many food selections (pasta??) Or you can stick to peanuts and beer.

Great fan experience for Major League Baseball. The Indians lost to the Rays late in the game, but it was a beautiful nite weatherwise, & concessions were easy to find & obtain, tickets were reasonable, & everyone was friendly.

I took my Grandfather to his first Red Sox game here. The staff was generally friendly, the seats were fairly comfortable, the in-game atmosphere was pretty well done, and enjoyable. The only downsides were the concession stands seemed a bit confusing, as they were based around one type of food, and I couldn’t find a ‘general’ concession stand anywhere near my seats. The fans were okay for most of the game, but near the end started to become rude, and unruly, and hurled insults towards us even though we had been fairly quiet all game. To cap off the night however, the usher at the bottom of our section was kind enough to take a photo of me and my grandfather by the field, which is a memory I’ll now have forever. Overall the experience is good, and we had a great time.

The stadium was a little quieter today than it was a few days before during the 2019 All-Star games. It was a fun park to walk through.

Was in town for meetings and decided to catch a game w large group. Did standing room only. Still had a great time. Drinks good food good and fun game to watch. Stadium is accessible by walking near downtown hotels and lots of fun places around outside of stadium as well. Highly recommend catching a game if in town.

Progressive Field upgrades are fantastic - great food options and Stadium Mustard all hits. Great family atmosphere

We had a great time at the ball park. It's in a great location in downtown Cleveland and short walking distance from several quality motels.

While on a business trip to the area we went to a ballgame. The stadium is nice and clean. We reserved seats at the Terrace Club and was told that we could sit in the restaurant to watch the game. We arrived early, and were seated in a good spot. The waitress then told us that we had about 1 1/2 hours to eat before we need to vacate the table. Later in the game, we looked into the Terrace Club and saw several empty tables. Will not return there again.

It was hard to find food at this stadium…I’m assuming many stations were closed due to the corona. Otherwise it’s a nice place to watch a baseball game.

There is nothing better on a Saturday night than sitting at the stadium sipping a cold drink and watching spectacular Cleveland Indians baseball. Lovingly known as “The Jake” to Native Clevelanders, it’s hard to beat the winning atmosphere and all around fun!

Fun stadium! Very clean and friendly staff. We got a certificate for being first time visitors! There was a wide variety of great food. Enjoyed the hot dog races! We were there on a fireworks night and they were absolutely amazing.

Visited Progressive Field for a weekend game vs Nationals and we might have come in on a bad day. It was a $2 beer day so the place was sold out and absolutely packed. The parking prices were exorbitant and there was not a lot of parking in the area so we had to walk 30 mins to get to the park, then we had to wait another 20 mins just to get in as there are only couple gates that funnel all the crowds in. The park itself had good atmosphere as pretty much everyone had 4-5 beers in them before national anthem. The lower bowl seats are not that great and we ended up trading with some people in the higher level. the higher level seats were much better. I think this stadium was not built for sell-outs.. line ups for everything are very long and the corridors were crowded. Because of the huge lineups, the food we ended up with was not good and towards the later part of the game many of the fans in the upper bowl were just drunk and annoying. Looking back at the pictures, the field does look great with all the seats filled, but in person it did feel like just a lot of concrete. We did have great weather, but ended up leaving early.

Progressive Field
In my continuing quest to see a baseball game in every MLB stadium, I recently went to went to Progressive Field – home of the Cleveland Indians. I especially wanted to see the Indians, because 2018 is the last year they are using the little cartoon Indian in their uniforms, so I thought it would be a good to say I was there in the farewell year to Chief Wahoo (more on this later).
I almost didn’t get to see the game because for a long time it looked like the game was going to be rained out, which was especially annoying since I’d driven over 700 miles over the course of three days to get there. But, after a rainy start the weather held and (spoiler alert) I even got to see the firework show at the end of the match. For now though, I’ll break it down into a couple of sub headings …
Ticketing & Outside the Ground
Outside of the ground was ok as far as I could tell, although there was torrential rain happening as I walked there from my hotel and so I didn’t explore it as much as if it had been a dry evening. There didn’t seem to be any shops outside the ground, so I couldn’t go in there before the game and have a leisurely look for souvenirs and such. That was a bit disappointing – it certainly isn’t as vibrant as say PNC Park or the Great American Ballpark up the road.
On the internet, it said that it is much cheaper to get the tickets in advance, so I called the stadium and got an e-ticket. The person at the ticket line helped me book my seat over the phone, and was very patient as I tried to work out how much I was willing to pay for the seats which were available. You have to set up an account and he did that for me, and stayed on the line until the confirmation e-mail came.
What wasn’t so good was that the e-mail didn’t have the ticket printed on it, and when he asked me for my phone number (which I assumed was for confirmation purposes) he was doing so to send a ticket to my phone. This is not so good, because I don’t own a mobile phone, and the only phone I do have is connected to wires in the wall of my house, so obviously I couldn’t bring that. So now the gate man couldn’t let me in since I had an e-mail confirmation but no ticket barcode or anything similar.
So he directed me to a will call sort of section of ticket areas halfway down one side of the stadium with my increasingly sodden printout. They couldn’t help either and so I was sent to another window even further around the stadium. Fortunately, the lady who was there was knowledgeable and helpful – she worked out what had happened and after some more questions and searching on her computer she had printed my ticket. Huzzah ! At least now, I could get into the stadium.
Seating
The seat I finally ended up sitting in wasn’t too bad. It was in the lesser nosebleed section – not quite as far as the seats with the nimbo cumulos clouds in the area above me, but still a good way from the field. The Indians were doing well at the time I went to see them and so the seats were rather pricey compared to some other less successful teams, but the view I had was very good in terms of being able to see everything – no obstructed sightlines. Even with the prices, the stadium was pretty full and this helped with the fan cheering the team on and such.
Ballpark Staff
The ballpark staff were a mixed bag. They were all very friendly and polite, but some were more intuitive than others. For example, when I went to PNC Park, the lady at the shop there recommended three different restaurants within the park which I could try for authentic Pittsburg Food rather than your usual burger or hot dog. However at Progressive I asked a couple of people but no-one really knew what to suggest other than there was some stuff on the third level. I wandered about a bit and couldn’t find anything particular or a map to help me get something authentic. So, that was a bit of a letdown.
On the other side of the coin, the ushers in my section were very friendly and had a wealth of information. As I stood with them sheltering from the rain I learned that the little Indian was called Chief Wahoo, which I didn’t know, some general background about the ballpark, the city of Cleveland itself and some of the Ballpark staff. When they learned that the game was going to start after a delay they went out and wiped the seats down so the fans wouldn’t have to sit on a wet chair. I also learned that bad storms like the one I was currently experiencing generally fly out to Lake Eerie nearby and then get blown back towards the stadium causing them to call the game. Fortunately in this instance, the rain kept on going and I got to see the whole game.
Food
This was a disappointment for me. When I went there, it was two for one hotdog night, which was great, since I hadn’t eaten since I’d started driving to Cleveland eight hours earlier. One word of warning – the Ballpark Mustard in the little packets tasted very bitter and I didn’t like that at all. Get the yellow mustard instead. Still, the hotdogs were probably tasty – I was so hungry I ate them rather quickly, remembering not to put Ballpark mustard on the second one. About half way through the game, I went to get something else and ended up with some chicken strips and fries. They were ok but not piping hot, so I ended up having to eat them faster than I would have liked. I was sitting in my seat eating a tepid French fry and then a video came on the big screen advertising one of the areas which did a really tasty sounding meatball wrap, which I would definitely have chosen over the chicken strips. As I look at the Indians Website in September 2018, the food section is (in my opinion) poorly set out and uninformative. They really need to do something better than this.
Atmosphere
The Indians were doing well when I went to see them, so the atmosphere was upbeat and fun. The Indians scored a lot of home runs, so there was a lot of cheering, and Flo the Progressive lady would come on the big screen and swing a bat whenever someone homered. There was a Mexican wave at one point that everyone joined in with. Best of all there was a “Women of Rock” fireworks display at the end of the night. I think this was a nod to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame which is nearby, and I got to enjoy about fifteen minutes of famous songs and fireworks. So at the end of the night it had stopped raining, I’d dried off, the Indians won and I got a free firework show thrown in as well. All in all it was a very memorable night.
Overall
I’d give the stadium a positive review. The merchandise was a bit expensive, but I suppose that’s true of any team that’s currently winning in any sport. The staff on the whole were competent, and the stadium was clean. The thing that would have made it a perfect evening was some great unique Progressive Field food, but I missed out on that so I can’t give it a perfect score. That said, if someone offered me a free ticket and flight to a ballpark I’d already been to, this would be in my top three.

I’ve visited progressive Field is part of a group at a conference, we sat in the club seats which offered a great view of the field. Another option is in right Field where there are multiple beer gardens and standing areas from which to watch the games. Staff was friendly, fans great, good for all ages.

Our first game at Progressive Field, Terrible weather, so no really positives about the seating or stadium, neutral rating.

really nice ballpark really enjoyed our visit. friendly staff and fans. if you enjoy baseball I recommend a visit.

My whole family went out to the ball game and we were happy with our seats and the view of the downtown skyline. It's a well-designed ball field except for the long walks up and down the ramps.

Great park for the AllStar Game! Everyone we encountered from security to servers to ushers were friendly and helpful. The food served in our hospitality was also good. Might be the biggest video scoreboard I’ve ever seen. The sunset behind the park scoreboard was pretty cool too. My only complaint would be the pa system... we could understand the announcements at all. Overall Cleveland did a great job hosting all the AllStar events.

We take a baseball trip every year, and decided upon Cleveland for 2019. This ballpark is great, with a decent number of vegetarian options (try the vegan hotdog), lots of beer selection and best of all? It’s super clean. Staff and fans were welcoming, despite having our Phillies gear on.

Nice ball park. Good variety of foods to choose from. Friendly staff. Our seats were down the first base line with a good view of the field.

It was a great first experience. Everything was clean, organized and well maintained. We had trouble buying the tickets from the kiosk and without even asking they offered us assistance and we were ready to see the game on time. Hope to be back soon!

Progressive Field is a wonderful baseball stadium! Easily accessible from downtown, friendly staff, plenty of good ball park food and drink, great views from the seats. What’s truly impressive are the hometown fans-loyal, enthusiastic supporters of their players. We had a great time at the game. Thank you Cleveland, you rock!

I finally made my trip all the way from Palau to Cleveland for 2 Indians’ games in the end of August. Indians won 5-3 against Twins on August 30th, and 3-0 against Rays on August 31st.
Aside the winning games, the friendly staffs, awesome opening events, great options of foods & beverages with reasonable price, comfortable seats, and amazing fireworks after the game.
My seat number of the first game was Q-15 in section 554, which was right behind the home plate. To be honest, this seat was the cheapest seat I paid in 2 games in Fenway Park, 2 games in Progressive Field and 2 games in Yankees Stadium. Although the seat was high above the ground, I still enjoyed the view from the top of home plate.
My seat of my second game was W-8 in Section 134. I was so lucky to get this seat because the fireworks was let off at leftfield. I could watch the fireworks show at the best viewing seat.
It was a fun to have interacted with multiple of tribes with good personalities. The couple sitting on my left even gave me a 2014 American League Champion cup holder for survivor. The couple sitting on my right front was on the kiss cam. The guys sitting on my right were Rays’ fans.
The experience at Progressive Field was amazing, and I enjoyed it. I will come back to Cleveland for World Series for sure in near future.

It used to be fun to go to the ballpark with young kids!
But not today...
There was a huge pile of bobble heads and none of our kids were allowed to have one because they needed to have a special promo pass. According to the young guy they only earmarked so many for the gates and the rest of the boxes were reserved.
It took us an inning to get to our seats in the family section. We were not allowed to use any of the elevators except one specific elevator.
The five kids we had with us from my family and my siblings’ families wanted real popcorn. We asked a number of people along the way who worked at the stadium and none of them seemed real sure where to find real popcorn?! My brother-in-law and I had to walk from the 316 section in right field to 173 on the third base lower deck side. Wasting a couple more innings...
Are you kidding it’s a baseball game?! The focus should be kids!!!! Popcorn!!! Hot dogs!!! Peanuts!!!! Cracker jacks!!!!
Truly disappointed with this visit!

Progressive Field is an excellent ballpark. Almost every seat provides a good view of the playing field. There are ample food choices. Scoreboard enhances the game experience. It is also a great venue on fireworks night.

Beautiful stadium. Prices have gone up...which I understand..but it's still cheaper than going to a Chicago and seeing a Cubs game! Plus the food and bathrooms are better than Wrigley. Love the energy at the staduim.

Not a bad seat in the place. Chairs are comfortable with drink holders for everyone. Club seats are the best and sell out almost immediately. Stadium is just beautiful. Gift shops need to carry bigger sizes of shirts (they only go up to L).

I have always had a pleasant experience at this venue. The facility is clean and restrooms are ample. The food is typical ballpark eats. Hoping for more vegetarian options including greens! No seat is a bad seat! Dr. T.

Still the jake ain't what it ised to be. There are many concessions blocking walking areas. Too many bright light ad boards distracting guests from the game. The whole reason to be there is baseball. The concessions have long lines. We had a first aid issue and the ussers were totally uninformed for an emergency. This used to be one of my fav parks but not anymore. Love the cleveland fans!

Progressive field is a great modern ballpark in the heart of downtown Cleveland. Doesn’t seem to be a bad seat in the house. Food prices were standard but the view in the upper deck behind home plate is great. You get a combination of the skyline and field. Definitely check it out if you are a baseball fan.

Love going here and watching a Indian's Game. Always good seats. stadium easy to get to, wish tickets were alittle reasonable.

This stadium is different than the one I am used to, but it was cool. Get your picture take with the Cleveland C on the main concourse, but there is usually a line. Plenty of food options, everywhere. I highly recommend the nachos from Barrio. The terrace seats are steep, but gave a great view. The kids area looked useful for those with kids; plenty of activities there. The shop in the stadium is very small and not made for people to maneuver. If you can, visit the pro shop on the outside of the stadium before it closes as there is much more space and more selection. You can also purchase tickets in there on game day instead of going to the ticket window.

Progressive field should be on any baseball fans bucket list. Comfortable seats, not a bad view in the park. Even if the Guardians (Indians) don't have a good team (they do this year) great seats will be available at pretty good prices.
The FOOD! Oh My Gosh, the FOOD. You won't go hungry at Progressive Field.
SO many choices and all Tasty!
The stadium is easy to navigate and plenty of parking right next the ballpark.
In center field there is a history of the team (lots of plaques).
I had a blast at this ballpark!

Great clean place to watch a ballgame, scoreboard is huge and informative. Great view from most seats.

We recently took a visit back to Progressive Field when we were visiting with friends in Cleveland. It had been about 10 years since our last visit to the stadium. It still holds up!
The stadium is downtown, and is close to some food options. It can also make it a little challenging to park. Try to plan that ahead, so you don't get stuck in a ton of traffic and be late for the game!
Food options were pretty good - and all of the kids got their ice cream helmets! The crowd was really into the game, and our little guy got into it as well. He couldn't believe how many calls the ump missed!
We lucked out, and got a decent fireworks show after the game as well.
Awesome stadium, and great energy from the fans. If it is not on your baseball bucket list, it should be.

This is our 14th baseball park we have visited. This one is nice, the fans are nice. Not sure there is a bad place to sit here. Clean restrooms. Scorecards are cheaper here than most ball parks

It was a very clean stadium. I truly enjoyed the idea that if you purchased a fountain soda in a souvenir cup, you were able to get free refills.

Great Ballpark. We went to 2 games. Sat in 500 section and bleachers. 500 section is high but you are close enough you can see it all. So dont be afraid of the cheap seats. Staff was very friendly! We are 6 foot and a half and we we re e comfortable. Pleanyf of places to walk around and watch while standing too. 8 bucks for a domestic beer...but we have seen worse. 12.50 west coast. I would come back here even if my team wasn't playing.

We were there for the All Star Game and Cleveland did a great job. The bag check process went smoothly and we were greeted warmly as we entered. Staff was friendly and helpful on this super busy night. Escalators go up, but the walk down was a bit more of a challenge for the person I was with, it appeared accessibility was not as good as it could be. The commemorative section is nice, visit it before the game, after staff is ready to go and need to close the park down.

Wifey and I went to see the Milwaukee Brewers versus the Indians on 09/11/2021. The crowd was a bit lame due to the lack of offense by the Indians but all in all, it was a privilege to watch Milwaukee Pitchers no hit the Indians. We sat in the outfield - section 309 row A, seats 3 and 4 and on two occasions our seats were taken by people who didn’t have tickets to our seats. The customers were nice when I requested to show me their tickets - they politely moved. Otherwise, all fans received a free t-shirt on this Saturday night. Lastly, virtually all seats had a good view of the baseball action. The food stands were reasonably priced and the Indian ownership placed a heavy priority on alcohol sales.

Great ball field. Fireworks when the Indians win. Family friendly and the food is not bad either. Go Yankees!

I've been to about 25 Major League ball parks around the country. This one is merely average...The food was nothing special, and the beer was expensive, even by MLB standards. Won't go out of my way to return !!!

We went to Cleveland to cheer on our Detroit Tigers. Even when wearing our Tigers gear, the workers at the stadium were super friendly and helpful. The stadium is neat with lots of different food options and their fireworks show after the game was amazing! Cleveland fans were gracious losers as well after the Tigers swept them.

A visit to Progressive Field is a wonderful experience. Of course its main attraction is the fine ball club that plays there, so ably managed by Terry Francona and populated by talented youngsters who love the game and each other. The stadium itself is well designed to be embraced by the city around it. The views are stunning and there is always a nice breeze coming off the lake. All seats are unobstructed and offer plenty of room for legs and butts. There are numerous fun options for viewing the action - the District, with its 2 tier Corner Bar and the STO Family Deck. There is a fantastic array of food and beverage vendors - mostly on the main level but adequately positioned at the higher tiers. There is plenty of parking in the area;. of course the lower the price (as low as $10 this visit) the longer the walk but it never seems like a very long hike.

Well organized and laid out venue. Parking was easy and directions inside park are easy to figure out. Seating was clean and prices weren't as bad as I thought they would be. Bathrooms are clean and plenty of people there to help direct you. Great experience.

An absolute must see if you a true baseball fan! This park is simply beautiful and there are no bad seats in the place.. For such an important historical team legacy, I would like to see more statues of the players past.

My son and I went to the Indians game for the first time ever in July 2018. We went early and there are plenty of players that will sometimes throw a ball to the kids during batting practice. This particular game was against the Pirates. And the player from the Pirates named Jacob Stallings threw a baseball to my son. It made the experience JUST PLAIN GREAT!!! The big screen is also one of the best I have seen in the country! The crowd was fun as heck, and it was an all around great experience!!

We had had really good seats near the left filed. Game was great went into extra innings which my husband was okay with. Nice ballpark

This is a great family ball park. It is immaculately clean and has many things to do and see. We especially liked Heritage Park, which we found to be simple and informative. Definitely something to see when in Cleveland.

I saw a baseball game yesterday and it was a blast. The prices for beer, water and food are expensive so be prepared to pay!!! Upside, Indians won!

I’m not a big baseball fan but I love going to the ball park at least once every year. I love the atmosphere. I get the cheap seats up high. I don’t think any seat has a bad view. This year we went on a Friday night for dollar dog night and fireworks. What I didn’t realize was the beer promo for dollar dog night ends when the game starts. We arrived during the start of the first inning and missed out on the beer promo. But we did enjoy the dogs. Fireworks were great. And the hot dog race is always fun (watch out for Ketchup- he cheats!) Pay attention to the seats that are cleared out for the fireworks - if you want to stay in your seats for fireworks.

I attended a game at Progressive Field in June 2016 with a friend I have been going around to Major League Ballparks with, and I loved it! It is a great ballpark with a great atmosphere! From great food offerings to the drummer, this place is a must-see for any baseball fan looking to enjoy a game!

We were pleased to be able to catch a game the first night we rolled into Cleveland. You guys have a great stadium, right downtown, easy parking! The only minutes wasted were having to create a MLB online account and ordering tickets. We were waiting at the gate while screens reloaded and creating password etc... We were on the wrongside of the stadium , thought we could walk up to box-office and buy them quick.
The beer was good as well as the hotdogs! We will plan a return visit- getting our tickets lined up ahead of time.

Best day ever.
50 years old and my Dad took
His boys and best friend to ballgame.
Never been to Indian’s home field
Loved every minute

Day off in Cleveland, decided to check out a baseball game. Progressive Field was a very clean park. Ballpark staff was great. A great day.

Such a wonderful night! Great field, great fireworks, dollar hit dog night, very fun atmosphere. I am amazed how efficient entering and exiting was. Would definitely go again.

First time here! Dogs are good. The fans are great and the stadium is close to downtown and is so open. Looking at the field you can see downtown. Very fun!
Will I Go Back? Yes. I want to see all my favorite teams play the Indians

Progressive field is a beautiful park and was home to the 2019 All Star Game. It has several restaurants that have specialty items but you can still find the old favorites. There are several nights where they do Rock n Boom which fireworks shows to a musical theme

so I remember when this was the hardest ticket in baseball to get. The Jake just opened and people flocked to this stadium to see it both inside and out. It was on my bucket list of places to see. I wasn’t disappointed. It has great sight lines, nice friendly fans, and food options galore. I don’t like the new advertisements (progressive) is thrown in your face everywhere. The Indians are one of the original franchises in baseball. I was hoping the place would have a little more class. I don’t need Flo giving me updates on the centerfield isn’t screen. I guess the advertisements worked. I won’t remember one play of the game but I will remember how annoying Progressive insurance is.

Got Club seats from a friend. The free food very good for ballpark food. Tee Shirt night did not disappoint, and the fireworks were awesome. Plenty of good beer available and lots of fans donning Ricky Vaughn jerseys!

I took 4 teenagers to the Cincinnati Art Museum to see the Burning Man Exhibit and they loved it! Along with all the other art there were some amazing pieces there for this special exhibit. My teens loved the exhibit and I saw quite a few families with young kids also and they looked like they were enjoying it too. We went on over to the Eden Park River Overlook and walked around watching the momma ducks and babies that were on the pond. Wonderful day!!!

Got tickets to the Indians Red Sox game sat in section 459 Right behind home plate high enough to see the whole field. Great series Although I wanted to see the Red Sox win all three the Jumbotron is so huge a blind person could see it lol

My husband and I are NY Mets season ticket holders. While in Cleveland we went to an Indians vs. Astros game and we had a blast! The stadium is beautiful. The choices of food and drink were pretty amazing too. A different vibe than we get at Citi Field in Queens. Progressive Stadium is about 10,000 seats smaller than Citi Field, but it felt much more intimate. I highly recommend a visit to see a game at Progressive Stadium!

Great place to watch the Indians, The Discount Mart Club House. The section is a little far from home base, a little pass first base, but it is awesome. They have their own inside free food and cash bar. They have hamburgers, hot dogs, bbq chicken, nachos, fries, mashed potatoes, salad, pork loin, baby carrots, zita, just so much food. Nice tables and chairs inside and then more food outside. Popcorn, custard, pretzel balls, more hot dogs, free pop at different pop sections, inside and out. Just try this experience once and you will want to go back, again and again! Enjoy!!

Watched the Royals play the Indians. They were not hospitable. Despite that, it is actually one of my top 5 favorite ballparks. Great layout. Close up to the bullpen to watch the pitchers warm up. Many food and beverage stations. Lots of restaurants and sports bars nearby.

Went to Progressive Field for an Indian's game. Venue is very well-kept. Staff is very friendly at gates and at sections. Lots of food & drink options. Very expensive - domestic beer was $9-10 and craft beer was $12.50, expensive food as well.

Nice stadium but getting a little rundown. Neat entrance. Lots of monuments and historical markers. One of the better ballparks for recognizing past players. Friendly staff and helpful.

I go once a year with my family. We love it and have a great time. Beautiful clean family friendly. Awesome fireworks

Great field, in a safe area of downtown Cleveland.
Love the design and accessibility to vendors as well as bathrooms.Fairly easy to exit quickly at games end.

Came for a early weekend game before the all star game. Come early for promotions. The free giveaway was gone an hour and half before game time. We food options were diverse. The home and away fans were pleasant throughout the park. We parked in a small lot a couple of blocks down from the stadium.

Sat in section 134. That area gets lots of sun all afternoon, before the sun sets, not too windy. If it's windy, the upper levels get more of it. The whole place was pretty clean before the games. Bathrooms climate controlled and clean. Excellent location, super easy to get the car and head home in a few minutes, not sitting in traffic for 90 minutes getting out of the city. Will get tickets again here. Typical food options for ball games.

A very nice stadium. Well laid out, although not anything truly noteworthy. Nothing wrong just for me the park itself is not unique. Seats are comfortable, lots of food choices, good selections at the souvenier store. Friendly staff. Good place to take in a game.

Progressive field is always fun! It was dollar dog nite with fireworks. What more could you want?
The dogs were standard ball park. The fireworks were good, to Pink Floyd music. We used Lyft from Brookpark and was easy to and from. Good fun! And we won!

Very nice ballpark with terrific sightlines. Just a warning for those looking to be thrifty and sit in the upper deck, the amenities available in the cheap seats is not the same as the lower level. There were 2 concession stands servicing the 400 and 500 level.
So if it's your standard game, spring a little extra to sit down low or else grab your food before heading upstairs.

We sat up in the family deck for a breezy spring game. In regards to the activities for kids, the area was spot on. Pitching, running and batting options were available as well as a room for younger kids to slide, draw and climb. The food in the kids area is slightly lacking; if you want pizza or tacos or some food options other than hotdogs, your only choice was to go back down to the main level.
Overall good atmosphere and plenty to see and do. Great game and great family outing!

Went to the Tuesday night Twins game and it was my best night in Cleveland! $35 seats behind home plate (outfield were even less - $10 I believe). The stadium was fantastic and super clean. There is a walkway on the upper level with vendors and beautiful views of the city! The district around the stadium has numerous bars and great food. I'm not even a baseball fan, but I had the most fantastic time - it is a must see if you get a chance!!

We had a great time watching the Indians. Okay he stadium was super clean and updated. We were there for opening day 2.0. The game that allowed fans back to the stadium. The only thing that would make this better, would be if they had vendors selling drinks and hotdogs walking the aisles. This would keep the lines at concession stands down. It took over 2 innings to get food for the kids.

A nice ballpark located in downtown area. Good view of the playing field even from high up.
They had a wonderful 20 minutes live fireworks display with music and videos (on the scoreboard). It was spectacular. I think this might only happen on Friday games.

We were very glad the field was very close to our hotel. Entry was efficient and easy. We had good seats behind third base and in the shade. It was very hot. Only issue we had was the hot dogs and nachos were absolutely terrible. We couldn’t eat them. Home team won so crowd was in a good mood. Since our hotel was close we felt very safe walking back also there was a nice police presence.

So we had a good time here, the kids area was fantastic, the scoreboard, announcements, and fan interactions were really good. The game was exciting and memorable, overall would have been nearly perfect, but oh man, the concessions were soooo bad! How is everything on basically the first level, its a 3 level building? WHy are the concessions so expensive, like more expensive than Fenway, and that is really saying something. Also no fountain soda, come on man! Would have loved to give this 5 stars, but concessions was a deal breaker.

We had great field box seats the day of the game, four rows back. Section 138, great view. Very easy to walk to from the Residence Inn about 2 minutes. Tons of food vendors but you are actually allowed to bring your own food in too. My few complaints are it was very buggy at night and the bathrooms really need to be upgraded. They were comparable to the old bathrooms at Shea Stadium. Also we decided to get two bratwurst and the vendor asked if we wanted onions, peppers and sauerkraut, of course we said yes. Got maybe two half inch pieces of each. When I paid I realized they charged us an extra $5.50 for that. Very annoying. The brat only cost $7.50

huge dos and cold beers. A great game with enthuiastic crowd shouting their team on. A perfect Day :)

We traveled to Cleveland to catch a Indians game as part of a two ballpark long weekend. The Ballpark itself was nice but it didn’t seem to be in a great area of the city. That being said we didn’t have any issues. We stayed in a hotel across the street which was convenient after the game and was reasonably priced. We had trouble finding a place to eat before the game as most restaurants didn’t open till 5 and we wanted to catch batting practice. We did find Wilberts, which was great and right next door to one of the entrance gates. Most of the Ballpark staff were friendly, the few that weren’t were probably tired of tourists that didn’t know that parts of the Ballpark didn’t open until just before the game. Standard ballpark fare and prices. All in all it was enjoyable.

This is one of the most fan friendly parks that I have been too, just the right size with great sight lines and lots of amenities. Good location downtown and easily accessible. While I am not an Indians fan I want to come back.

This is one of the nicest stadiums in baseball. Dollar dog night and two dollar beer helps. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Recommend touring stadium if you have time.

I was there 2 games after the All Star game. The atmosphere around and in the ballpark was great. We had the club level tickets which let us into the air conditioning and all the food you can eat area. A great variety of food from ballpark fare, to slightly better to even a salad bar. They really know how to do it. It was a little pricey, but definitely worth it..

First time going to Progressive Field and I was impressed. Nice location downtown and they had a variety of places to get drinks from with nice seating areas. Easy to navigate through the stadium and the restrooms weren't as clean but it is a stadium, so they weren't that bad.

I really enjoyed the overall experience at Progressive Field. The view from our seats was really good. We were in section 457, but you could still see everything. The fans and the ushers were really helpful. The scoreboard there is easy to read. The only issue I had was with the food. The brats and the hot dogs are really small for the price. It was also really hot, so be sure and sit on the third base side for a night game. Overall, it was a great baseball experience.

Great ballpark. Things for the kids to do. Walked around and had a great experience. Fan friendly. Took my daughter to see the Yankees but this is a great ballpark.

We visited this stadium as a family on August 5th, 2022
Pros
- Large spacious concourses
- Extensive food selection in club area (1st base line club seats)
- Very large and clear scoreboard, visible from all seats
- Nice hall of fame area
- Polite staff
Cons
- Low attendance and less than stellar atmosphere
- When going to the club section, we had to have our tickets scanned no less than 3 times which created a large line on the escalators leading to the club area.

The home of the Cleveland Indians. What a treat. Great customer service just ask anyone in a red shirt and they will help you, seats reasonably priced, close to the field. Great selection of local foods to eat. Friday night fireworks..a family venue

Only my second visit and it confirmed my earlier experience, this is a family oriented baseball venue. The baseball takes place whilst families search for drinks from the many bars and food from the many fast food outlets. The game seems to be a secondary consideration as spectators vie for attention on the huge screens whilst the commercial breaks are being aired.

Progressive Field along with the Cleveland Indians is a Major League attraction. Fantastic views of a major league all summer. Admission is available in a variety of different ways. You can enjoy the venue on a modest budget or spend what you can afford to maximize your visit. From public transportation to pricey nearby parking. Food pricing is what may be expected for a captured audience, but selective purchases or brining in allowable food items may make you visit more economical. Check at the Cleveland Indians website for information on what might be brought in. Metal detectors are used at all entrances and certain restricted goods will not be allowed. Progressive Field is definitely children friendly and ADA accessible. Do some research before you go to enjoy all of the available offerings at the park Go Tribe!

One of the best places to see baseball. Open sight lines, good food, oodles of craft beer choices, kids play facilities worth time before the game (join the Kids Club), really not a bad seat in the house, plenty of space in the corridors and vestibules, plenty of restrooms. Just a fantastic place for a game whether your a Tribe fan or just visiting. Ticket prices not bad.

progressive field was easy to get to right off highway easy parking this is a nice ballpark we had seats right behind the dugout great view of the field lines were not to long at consessions great game went ino extra innings it looked like no one left early great day the yankees won

I had a fun time with coworkers watching the browns play the ravens. The stadium was nice and clean upon arrival. There was a lot of security and a special family friendly zone, which I thought was a great idea! Passionate fans, I would recommend catching a game if your in town.

Fantastic sight lines no matter where you are seated. Food was better than average. Friendly staff. Location in the city was a boon... walked to the stadium.

We came for a Twins-Indians series. Ushers very helpful. We tried the Nachos and the grilled cheese with mushrooms....so good. Food choices are many and as are the beer choices. They have $2 Miller beers on certain days. Fun stadium! Fireworks set to Rock and Roll HOF music was awesome on Saturday night.

Beautiful evening watching the Indians beat the White Sox. The stadium was clean, people were friendly and there were a lot of different food offerings.

My husband and I went to a game. The stadium is nice. Once inside, there is a memorial to look at. We enjoyed it.

As a baseball fan, the park for the local team is a must. Loved to go, accessible parking and close to downtown.

We went for the jersey giveaway game. We were at the gates when they opened but somehow by the time we got into the stadium all the jerseys were gone. Parking was horrendous and expensive. When purchasing a drink inside the stadium they don’t have lids or straws. The seats are way too small. I’ve been to 12 mlb stadiums and this is among the worst.

The park was way more than we could have imagined. The Memorial area was beautifully done with lots of trees and plants providing shade and nature. There were SO many restaurants to choose from with a variety of different foods to choose from. Drinks were abundantly available. The walk to the Terrace Club was great with more historical info about the ball team. The staff was very friendly and helpful (shout out to Chris at the Terrace Club for his friendly tour). The in-game entertainment was fun and engaging, such as the hotdog derby and the singing challenges.
The baseball was good too!
Learned lots about the stadium and the team from frequent visitors sitting beside us.
We did take Ubers to and from as traffic was very busy and parking was expensive.
The fireworks at the end of the game was a ten minute display that blew us away. It was FANTASTIC! Do NOT miss the fireworks.
Our night was 10/10 and we can’t wait to go back!

As a baseball lover i like to visit baseball parks whenever i travel if at all possible. This park is really beautiful!!! The night we went they have $1 hot dogs and $2 Miller lite beers. Coming from a cubs fan, i can tell you those kinds of deals never happen in Wrigley!!! We were also lucky to go on a night that they had fireworks and their display was great!! It was nice to see the field where my favorite team won their first World Series in over a hundred years. That aside the park was great and every staff member i encountered was very friendly and helpful!!!!

I'd say one of the best ballparks in America. Every seat is a good seat, even tho behind a dugout is best. Sooo many different places to eat and not horrendous prices. It has a party deck for those still young enough to do so. It has a family section, where manners are suggested. A great bleacher section and seats close to the action, but protected with a steel net. You also get to see the Cleveland Indians play..... my favorite.

I was so happy with my husband and I’s trip to Cleveland to watch our home team take on the Indians! Fabulous fans! Welcoming city! A M A Z I N G F O O D!
Loved this ballpark

Loved walking around the ball park before the game. Spacious concourse and plenty of food choices and places to seat to eat.

I bought tickets to a Cle Vs. Kansas City Game on a Sunday. Our seats were in the
shade on arrival. As the sun moved in the sky we were subject to a lot of heat and sun on a Sunday 1:10 PM game. We had a great view of home plate and the field
in general. I paid $50.00 each ticket. After the game ended (Cle won by the way)
my Son and I took my grandson down to the field to run the bases. I'm 70 years old
and this was my first time on the field of dreams.

great stadium and location. staff was so friendly. and we got a sweep! :-) the city views are great. Go Tribe

Had the best night ever . Took in a game last minute decision After the game there were spectacular fireworks. I’ll never forget it.

Spent a nice evening here at the game. Plenty of space to move around. It wasn't a huge crowd and we changed seats a few times to try different views. There are plenty of bars close to the stadium which is a great advantage in a town centre ball park. These are always the best ones in my opinion.

My 32 year old son has a goal to watch a major league ball game at every MLB stadium. We traveled to Cleveland to watch the Indians play the Angels. Watched a Friday night game and a Saturday afternoon game. Great pregame entertainment as well as throughout the game. Fans were great. Everyone in Cleveland seems to be nice people.

Progressive Field is situated in a nice neighbourhood, and despite being almost 30 years old, it's in great shape and feels pretty modern (while also having a heck of a lot of charm). They have a neat little hall of fame area, as well as one of the coolest features I've ever seen at a ballpart: In right field, you can line up for a chance to watch a full inning from a former bullpen, called the Field View Bullpen. It was really special to have such a great vantage point.

Good luck next year, Guardians! Me and my sons traveled from NY to watch the Yankees advance in a great game, rain and all!

I find it a nice ball park with a LOT of amenities. Still, there are at least 10% of the seats where you can't see the infield while sitting. Some complain about the people standing … it might be to see the game. The old Municipal Stadium had pillars that blocked lines of sight; but everything infant of the posts had a good view of the field. Restrooms are no longer european standard; but there was a bit of charm lost.
Parking is extremely reasonable across the street and adequate within several blocks. We walked farther after we got to the stadium to get through the gate and then to our seats than the walk from the $10 lot to the stadium.

From the lenient security to the great views of the game it is a great place to watch a game.I would love to go back.

Went to see the Indians play. I’m a Pirates fan but enjoy watching the Indians play at least once a year. The only negative going to an Indians game is parking. The parking garages are not very close to the ballpark for handicapped people.

We host professional baseball players in the High “A” League of the Cleveland organization. One of ours made it to The Big Show. Progressive Field is a great place to take in a game even if you don’t know a player. Local fans were friendly and knowledgeable. Seemed to go out of their way to be helpful. Staff at Fans Services went above and beyond to get these tourists where we needed to be. Ushers were friendly and helpful. Had a great time seeing a great player and more importantly a great human being.

We watched the Indians take on the Rangers on August 5, 2019. This was our first time visiting Progressive Field. Although it was built in the 90’s, it has been well maintained. The playing field is easy to see from the majority of seats. The food that is available is good but (typical) way over priced! It was a fun evening.

One of the more enjoyable places to see a baseball game (I’ve been to over 20 of them). A number of decent food options, although oddly it was hard to find popcorn. A number of different beer options. The fans are pretty friendly.

Most beautiful ballpark I have been too(10 across the country so far). So many food options, great bar area, friendly workers. Many options for entertainment before and after the game within walking distance. Great Jumbotron is visible from everywhere but the bleachers. All the seats offer a good view, great views on the lower level. Club seats are worth the money since food and drinks (non-alcohol) are included. Inside club is roomy and a great place to sit and eat or get out of the weather for a while. The main level has so many different food and drink options from all over the city.

We were here as out of towners cheering on the Twins so we saw three games and also did the tour. Very impressed. People were great to us and gave us some crap but in a very good way. The stadium was clean and had great sight lines. Awesome food. The slider burgers almost made me cry! Wonderful selection of foods. You can buy a cheap standing room only ticket and still see the game. Pregame $2 beers were a great deal if you like Miller lite. Great experience! Do
the tour for sure to see some cool places.

I recently had an enjoyable visit to Progressive Field for a Cleveland Indians baseball game.
ENTRANCE
The park entrance requires you to go through outdoor gates. You will go through security in which you will have to pull out your keys and phones. You will also have to remove you baseball cap for security. For tickets, you can purchase around the side of the stadium at the ticket booth or purchase them online.
CONCESSIONS
There are many concessions; some with large names for this region, located around the main level of the park. Portion sizes appear to be large but very costly. Gift shops are also located within this area.
WALKWAYS
The walkways around the stadium appeared to be more narrow than other stadiums.
SEATING AREA
In addition to stadium seating, the park also offers numerous standing areas with long, narrow counters for drinks. This is nice for those who do not wish to sit for hours at a time.
PARKING
Parking garages and parking lots are offered throughout the downtown area. You may also choose to ride the Transit into town and walk the hallways and tunnels to the area near the stadium. This was much cheaper and less congestion getting out of the city.
OTHER AMENITIES
A few phone charging stations and lockers for rent are available throughout the stadium.
GARBAGE
The park tried to keep the place clean but fans left it trashy after the game. This helps to explain why ticket prices were so high.
BOTTOM LINE
I enjoyed my visit to Progressive Field and am looking forward to returning in the future.

We toured Progressive Field and also saw a series of games. This is a great ballpark. I enjoyed the tour, our guides had a lot of information and it was fun to be able to sit in the dug-outs and see the workings of getting the field ready for games.

Progressive Field is not The Jake we knew 25 years ago. It has grown to fire places and comfy chairs above the Corner Bar, Craft beers spouts mounted on the walls, Gourmet Coffee, Kids Clubhouse interactive play area, 50/50 Lottery, a large bar area to hangout, Weddings, Proms, Name Brand Concessions like Momocho, Donte's pizza, Melts, Fat Head, Great Lakes Brewer, Forest City barbecue, just to name a few and nobody watching the ball game everyone on their phone Texting playing video games or talking. This is a wonderful place to hang out. Its walking distance to the RTA Rapid Station, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Lake Front and Science Center.

Progressive Field was perfect place for a game. Plenty of Restrooms and Drink/Food Vending options. Field was in great shape and loved the large Scoreboard. Nice small Memorial area for former players. Tickets were on par for other stadiums. Easy access to parking and Highway for departure.

I enjoyed going to Progressive Field. Very nice staff, great location. The seats aren't obstructed from basically anywhere in the ballpark. The Indians are a great team to see play and a great stadium for them to play in. Definitely see a game if you are in Cleveland.

My friends and I are Season Ticket Holders for the past couple of seasons. To be honest it seems all the ballpark has become is a meeting place for anything except for the ballgame. We go to the game to watch the Indians play baseball - we have become the minority. Others have decided letting anyone within hearing distance listen to their pizza orders from the last couple of evenings, investment strategies, recipes, last nights date, seemingly ANYTHING except the ballgame. It is so bad that the guys discussing the pizza didn't even realize that the Tribe had made a pitching change. There is an announcement for people to wait to go back to their seats until the inning is over yet in the upper deck there is a constant stream of people getting up at all times disrupting the view and the limited amount of ushers do nothing about it. During the game - in between innings there is blaring music and various promotions going on as if I need to be entertained every minute at the stadium. Guess I'm old fashioned but I go to the ballpark to watch the game - and have become so frustrated with the lack of others doing the same I have discontinued my season ticket status - at least watching the game on TV I can concentrate on the game.

Beautiful ballpark. Easily accessible. Friendly staff. Clean. Good food & drink options (typical ballpark $$). Great view of downtown. Fun time.

We have been to many Indians games over the years! Progressive Field makes sure that there is a true fan involment.

Such an amazing, impressive place. The screen is awesome. The staff seems well informed and I came across a couple of nice older guys who pointed out some really great seat selections for a future game. However, be prepared it's expensive! seat in the 100's behind the home plate, was decent at 90$ beer $10.50 and peanuts 5$. I did eat a hotdog and a bratwurst, both disappointed me- super salty hotdog and the brat tasted like a cheap sausage, smothered in onions which made it a greasy soggy mess. Read about cheap beer and 2$ hotdogs from another reviewer...I could not find these. As for lineups for food, I though they were ok, I have seen worse (Akon Ducks) moved pretty fast. Looking for seats make sure to check out the seat view online somewhere. I did try to see the view from other seats around the field after the game, some of those cheaper seats offer a view very far from the field. Not so sure on the details of the game you may miss. I have tried club seats, seat with all you can eat. Foods not great- but filled up on hotdogs (which were decent up there) and nachos. Its buffet style, picture cheap Chinese restaurant buffet. Self serve drinks, popcorn, pretzels and little cups of peanuts. One thing I noticed the club seats seemed a bit bigger, when we sat below in the 100's everyone was kinda squished together, and it was a hot sweaty mess.

Nice weekend getaway with a fine dining experience before the game and the ushers and all the people working were very nice not a bad seat in the house on the lower and mid-level seats

I have spent more time at this ball park ( still the Jake) then at church over the last decade!! They really get it all right. Multiple gift shops, restrooms all over, so many different adult beverages!!! We where there to watch the MLB all star game, and it was AWESOME! Sat all over this park before and really not a bad seat in the house. Hard to believe it is 25 years old, still feels brand new.

Very nice stadium! Great first game with great seats. A lot of food and beverage options.. kind of pricey but we expected it.

Progressive Field, which I will call Jacobs Field, its original name, was a good stadium. One thing I liked about it was the concourse. Even though it is not as wide as other fields’, it wasn’t crowded. Other ball parks I’ve been to, well, it seems like people only are there to walk around which is ridiculous. Another excellent feature is how the food is set up. At most ball parks you have to leave your seat and go to the back sections where you really can’t see the game, but not at Jacobs’ field because the concessions are at the top part of the seats and you can still see what’s going on. There was also a decent selection of food although, of course, the prices were ridiculously high.
The parts that needed work we’re not very many. One was the scoreboard. Yes, it is huge, but we were about as far away from the scoreboard as you could be and some of the statistics were so small it was hard to read. There were three of us watching this game, and one of us could not even find the pitch count on the scoreboard. Also, our seats were between home and first and it was rather claustrophobic in that area because there is an overhang on our immediate right.
Overall I’d say if this ballpark is better than some such as Milwaukee’s ballpark, but not as good as others including Detroit Tigers’ ball park and the Yankees’.

A beautiful ball park, great sight lines, hot dogs and baseball- who could ask for anything more??? It's gem at the gateway to Cleveland.

Have you ever wondered if the price of club seats are worth it? They absolutely are! The seats are amazing. The food and soda is free. They do start closing everything down at the 7th ending but you can come in up to an hour before the start of the game to eat and get settled. Team members are very nice and helpful. Wonderful experience!

We try and go to 2 new ballparks every year. I had been to this one once before. My wife had not. We agree, this is one of the top 5 parks in the entire country. Really nice views of the game. TREMENDOUS downtown location. There is just so much to like about this park. You can tell that REAL THOUGHT went into planning this park. We sat in the club section. I highly recommend this. Seats are a little more but all the food is 100% FREE, Good food too. Not just baseball game fare like hotdogs and nachos. They have that stuff but also a salad bar, pasta bar and pork loin carving station. Are you kidding? Drinks are much cheaper than at most parks too. In fact, everything is cheaper at Progressive field than most parks. Guess what? You can afford to bring the family! The park itself is very nice for watching a game. Again, thought went into designing the seats. They are all oriented to home plate. The outfield and corner sections face the plate, not the outfield like in most parks. Easiest stadium to access in the country. FULL STOP. There is a bridge from the parking garage to the stadium. I mean walk 100 feet and you are in. No kidding. There is a stadium gate off the parking garage. Parking is reasonable at $15-$20 WHAT??? That will cost you $50 0r $60 at many parks. Again, somebody (with an actual real brain, not just a ledger) really thought about this!!! Bravo Cleveland! Well done.

Have been coming here since 1995. Always an enjoyable time. Stadium is older now but still a great place for a game

This was part of a road trip, so we were out-of-towners. Parking was difficult - tried several places - needed pre-parking, full, full, etc. - finally managed to get into one lot for $40 (expensive). Ticket kiosks did not allow you to pick seats (what side, fair/foul, etc.). There were many food choices on the ground level, less so upstairs, where at least half of the food concession windows were closed. I also thought it odd that at the average concession window, you couldn't get the usual dog, a soda (or beer), popcorn, sausage, hamburger. These were all different places. Had to walk halfway around the park to get a souvenir cup (maybe that's a guy thing).

This was our second trip to the ballpark and we enjoyed far more than our first in 2017. The seating area is comfortable, nice variety of food and friendly people. Highlight for us was the monument area paying homage to past players.

I have been to all 30 MLB stadiums, and Progressive Field is definitely in my top 10-12. The stadium is located in a neighborhood with many dining, drinking, and entertainment options before and after games. The stadium itself is a really pleasant place to watch a game. The sight lines are great from almost any seat.
I have been to this stadium multiple times. This last visit was during the solar eclipse in Aprilon the day of the Guardians' home opener...which made for an even better visit.

First, it’s nice to see people back at the ballpark. Was there the first night of “full capacity.” Felt normal. Consistent Progressive feel atmosphere. It does help when the Indians are playing well. Fireworks, $2 beers, and $1 dogs does help attract a better crowd, and adds to the overall excitement. Place really looked good. Also took in Saturday and Sunday games as well. Same feeling. Glad things are getting back to normal.

America’s favorite pastime has to do with a hotdog, a beer and a good game of baseball. Progressive field is a great place to go to watch a game. The logistics of the park are well planned out and There are a variety of places to get grub. Park staff was very friendly and engaging.

We love our Cleveland Indians and are not happy with the name change. WE prefer going to concessions for fresher food than the club seats with food included. We were there in June with friends who purchased the food club seats. It had been sitting out for a long time before we got there at 5:30 to eat before the 7:10 game. The salad bar only had Caesar dressing. Over cooked, warm burgers sitting in water, dried out pierogi's and mini potato pancakes.I prefer going to one of the many other food stands throughout stadium. Back to a game in July, did eat at Barrio's, very good.

Really nice ballpark. This was our 16th MLB Park. Fan appreciation weekend for its lots of cool deals. The fans were not at all nasty to us Red Sox fans. Nice views from our seats in the 500’s
Easy drive from Pittsburgh
Hope to go back for playoffs

We did get to see the field and Guardians, I still want to say Indians, were playing Boston. It was a early Saturday game so we only saw the outside. We did get to see fireworks at the stadium as we left downtown.

Great field and despite watching 2 teams that aren't playing very good baseball it was a nice atmosphere. Located downtown was great as we could go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the afternoon... then find a bar to eat at on our way to the game.

Great baseball venue! Friday nights are awesome with t-shirt giveaway, dollar dogs and fireworks. Party like atmosphere in the outfield areas and a meaningful tribute to past greats in Heritage Park. Beautiful view of city skyline.

For those of us from New England whose closest choice to see a game is at Fenway or Yankee Stadium, it was great to get into a ballpark, have good seats and pay only $70. Great site lines and easy to get in and out of. Right downtown so also in close proxiity to other attractions, food, etc. Even though none of us are Cleveland or Detroit fans, we just enjoyed going to an MLB game.
The Indians go out of their way t be very kid/family friendly if that is a consideration.

My Husband and I visited Progressive Field in July of 2018. The welcoming ball field greets you with open arms as soon as you walk in. You walk out to centre field and your view is breathtaking as you can see the whole field at a glance. The food was surprisingly inexpensive yet very tasty for ball park food and the merchandise was available all throughout the part on each level. Only thing that would have made it a better visit was if our favorite team was playing. :)

Had great with beautiful weather. Indians were winners. Most seats are very good. Nice area to eat or dring before or after the game

I was there for business and attended the HR Derby and All Star game. The ballpark is very nice and walkable to a ton of hotels in the area. I would recommend people catching an Indians game there as it’s a fan friendly ballpark.

Always a great time at Progressive Field watching our Indians! Food and drink options are excellent-many local restaurants and breweries have locations there. If you can, go on a fireworks night. They put on a fantastic show!

Went on a cool September night to catch a game.
Tickets weren't too bad and I was within walking distance. Never been to Progressive Field.
It didn't disappoint. Great ballpark to watch a game. Even the 'cheap seats' were good seats to watch.
Recommend if you are a baseball fan.

Very nice baseball stadium. We had an early afternoon game, so the sun was brutal, but we moved to a shady spot that was perfect and no one said anything. Too bad they didn't win.

What a wonderful stadium. I've been to 20 of the thirty baseball stadiums. Some have been pits others shrines. I'd definitely say this was a shrine. Sat in the 300 level club seats. Just had a wonderful time. Fans were great, even though we took two of three. I will highly recommend this stadium to all who ask my opinion. Food was good. Love that it's right downtown.

Even on an exceptionally cold night with the wind blowing in off of Lake Erie, this nearly 30 year old baseball venue has held its age well (and I understand big upgrades are in store next off-season). Lots of interesting local food choices here and the prices seem reasonable. Seats in the Lower Box area are terrific. Seating hosts are lovely. If you stay at a nearby hotel with parking, it's an easy walk to the Field. Be sure to check out the Center Field area for lots of Cleveland baseball historical artifacts.

When I get to the park every person of the staff were so friendly and service oriented. The stadium is well maintained. the restrooms were clean and also the food spots. The prices inside the stadium are average about the same of other baseball stadiums.

We had tickets to an Indians game on our recent visit to Cleveland. The ballpark is very nice. We had seats on deck 5 behind home plate, first row and they were very good. We had to move to the top because the game was rain delayed and the only covering in the park (besides interiors) is at the very top of the stadium. The rain didn't last long and we moved back down to our seats. My only complaint was there were limited food options on the upper deck we were in. As with other major league ballparks, you are going to pay $$$ for a family (we paid almost $100 for the four of us for sodas, hot dogs and burgers and a bag of peanuts).

Followed our Milwaukee Brewers to Progressive Field. Second visit to the park and they have made some nice improvements in recent years as far as food options go. We highly recommend getting Dante’s pizza. In our opinion the best value.
Sight lines are great and I don’t think there’s a bad seat in the house.

How can you go wrong with baseball? In town on business, thought I'd add this ballpark to my collection. People were nice, as were Indian fans. But they could be more proactive about whooping up the crowd. Only heard the organ ONCE so the crowd was kinda dead, you know?. Special kudos to the costumed hot dogs. :-)
Go Indians Go!
On my first visit to Cleveland had the opportunity to attend a home game. Beautiful stadium and good site lines. We happened to be on the first base side ( sunny side fora a day game) and were happy about that as it was a cool day but in the sun it was fine. Plenty of food options. Parking expensive and a fair walk. Lots of restaurants in the general area.
