One of the smallest aquariums I've been to but incredibly, it has a lot of Sea life exhibits. My wife and I enjoyed it but it would be even better for the kids as it is more suited for young children but still worth a trip for us older folks.

I got our tickets online showed up the employees working looked like we were bothering them we didn't get our stamp book didn't even know that was a thing till the very end wont be coming back

This is a very well done aquarium for young children and equally enjoyable for the adults.
Our grandsons, 8 and 5 were captivated. The tide pool and immersion into many of the aquariums was a fun learning experience.
I loved that everything is within a child’s reach and view. They never had to be held up or get on their tippy toes to see the displays.
The only thing that could make it better would be to expand.
We took our time and lingered at every display. We were there for about 90 minutes. What an incredible value when you buy both the Lego and Aguarium entry together.
We don’t live in the Tempe area and I doubt we will be back before our oldest grandson outgrows the experience. However, it made for a wonderful family day trip that produced memories that will last a lifetime!

This is a nice aquarium with several unique features that would be good for parents pushing kids in strollers, pre-school kids, taking school-aged friends for a fun day, and it might even be tolerable for teens. Meanwhile, as a low-pressure date for young couples, it's a relaxing atmosphere with quiet places to sit and hang out. You don't even have to super love fish to enjoy this aquarium.

Came here with my husband and 3 year old. She really had a blast looking at all the animals. It is a cute little place and it wasn't crowded at all. It was really expensive though! Just for us 3 to get in was about $50-$60?! That's kind of ridiculous and the main reason we haven't been back. Not a very affordable way to entertain a toddler for an hour or two.

Your kids will enjoy Legoland and SeaLife
Awesome clean family indoor fun.
Price is good location is in the mall.

I recently visited here with my son. He is almost 2 and absolutely loved the aquarium. It was a nice visit, but the aquarium is too small. Still, the staff was friendly and we had a great time!

My daughters and I went with one of my friends and her children, we had a great time! The place was very clean and lots of great exhibits, but I feel like the pricing is a bit high. This is the only place I've ever seen that charges extra for the number of family members you have when you buy a year-long family pass. Other than that we had a really great time and will be back!

Good fun for kids. A little small for the price but it was still a good time. Lots of interesting and interactive things to see.

Nice little aquarium. Small in size but large in wonder. We had a great time there Jessica is one of the employees and very passionate about her job. She was very informative about all of the different species that the aquarium has. A nice way to spend a few hours. Then shop at the mall and go back for more.

Pleasantly surprised on how beautiful the fish and display’s were. I formative, educational too. Loved the 360 aquarium

A great stop with the little grandkids to get out of the heat. An amazing array of actual sea life displayed thru a maze of cool, dark corriders, large showing areas and fun nooks and crannies for kids to explore. A surprise to find in a mall!! Price seemed reasonable. For first timers with toddlers, it was difficult to get to a restroom thru the twists and turns. Perhaps better signage and a restroom half way through. I don't recall getting a map but may have missed it. Super fun !!

The exhibits are perfect for kids under 12 and under 5 foot tall! Our grandkids 7 and 9 enjoyed all of the exhibits and they are used to the aquarium in Denver so this was a bonus. As others have mentioned, purchase the LegoLand and Aquarium combo for best pricing.

It had a lot of activities and learning opportunities for children.great view windows especially for young children.

Visited SeaLife with our 1 1/2 year old grandson. He loved it. The exhibits are really well done. Room to move around and easy to see. Sharks, stingrays, sea turtles and lots of fish. We spent a little more than an hour there which was perfect for our little one. Bought tickets on line for a faster entry and a slight discount. Would definitely visit again and may do Legoland combo package with slightly older grandchildren...

Great design. The aquarium was well done. Space is well planned.
Do the "carousel" for an informative survey of the highlights.
There is alot of commercial space within the complex enabling choises for food, gifts and refreshments.
There is also a butterfly environment and dolphin swim (separate tickets).
Very nice addition to the sights and activities in the greater Phoenix area

The informational machines that tell you facts about the creatures were not functioning. The way it was promoted made it seem as if it was going to be bigger. We went through the whole thing in about 15-30 minutes. My family and I were disappointed.

Buy tickets online, its cheaper. Just wished it was a little bigger with more activities. But you will enjoy.

Good for kids
not so much for Adults without kids. Staff was pleasant and available to answer questions (staff wasn’t as interactive with the kids/guests and more like young adults seen on their phones) Glad the admission cost wasn’t too expensive and we had a
promotional offer

This is a horrible facility and should be closed down. The place is very expensive for very little to see and do. They herd you in and out like cattle, the water levels are very low and the tanks are terrible. It is a very basic “aquarium” with most fish found in a pet store or market. The tanks look like a bath tub with a few plastic kid toys scattered around. Just a revolting experience.

Definitely buy tickets onine to save on entry fee. Plan about 2-4 hours, depending on how much you like to read the details. Listen to the presentations, fun and interesting facts. Nice hands on options, fun scavenger hunt for younger kids.

Sealife/ Legoland was an amazing experience. kids were excited to see sharks, fish.....kid friendly areas made it fun for the whole family. Kids ages range from 13 yrs old- 15 mnth old. Will be returning for more fun.

Has some nice exhibits, but it is not that big of an aquarium. For the price, I do not think it is worth it. It took me less that 30 mins to see it all.

Very friendly staff! Clean property. Very interactive and educational. We had so much fun exploring. The staff was beyond helpful and friendly!

This place needs many upgrade to become a true destination for fams. They try but it needs some work.

We brought our almost 3-year old here on a rainy morning. She loves fish and the aquarium was just the right size to keep her entertained but not overwhelmed - she was ready to be done when we reached the end. There are some tanks with little domes where you can crawl under and stick your head into so it looks like you are "inside" the tank. There were portholes with domes next to the manta ray tanks which she would crawl into and she just loved sitting there to watch the fish. The play area at the end was good for getting the last wiggles out before going home.
We went on a Saturday morning when the aquarium first opened so it wasn't busy at all. We tried to backtrack a bit later on and it was busier and a bit harder to navigate given that there were more people and strollers. Go early or late if you can.
Admission is good for the entire day - we had our hands stamped and were able to walk through it quickly one last time when we returned in the evening after going to Legoland.

Was overwhelmed by the amount of sea life that was on display. Definitely worth it. I will definitely come back for another visit.

We had a flight cancelled and went looking for things to do. We found this as a combination ticket with the Lego adventure place next to it in the mall. This side of the ticket is certainly more educational, but is also pretty fun. My 7 year old daughter liked the interactive ways to see the tanks. There are a number of "get into the action" areas with ways to get 360 degree views. Good learning opportunities. Hands on tide pools area was looking a bit overused. Not a full size aquarium like you would see as a free-standing place, but pretty good for being part of a mall. It was a lot more value-balanced doing the combo ticket with the Lego place that it would have been on its own.

Great experience and the kids loved it. I think us adults even found several things interesting. VERY reasonably priced, especially in comparison to the competing aquarium of the area. It wasn't too busy nor crowded, which was another huge plus. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

The Aquarium is location in a mall-like setting with other attractions and restaurants. As you travel through you are sure not to miss anything due to the layout. The highlight of my visit was being able to meet Squidney, the two-toed sloth. We were able to "pet" her, have our picture taken with her on her perch and even get to feed her. It was an overall enjoyable experience, one I will not soon forget. However, be warned that no photographs are allowed as you must put all your belongings in a locker. They have staff that will take photos that you can purchase, but the cost for the photos was, to me, very expensive. They have you over a barrel with the photo pricing as you want to pictures of your experience so of course you will pay the outrageous price. Maybe for future, they can increase the price a little and include a basic photo (say an 8x10) with the experience with the option to add a photo package when you pick up your photo. I have had other animal experiences that have done it this way.

My husband, my mother and i took my 3 children ages 9, 7, and 5 (i was pregnant with baby number 4) and my niece and nephew ages 1 and 3. If you've ever been to a big aquarium, sea life is not that. Its more like going over to some rich guys house who has a very expensive exotic fish tank. The little ones found it neat to look at the different colored fish and the sea turtle was pretty cool along with the sting ray. They have this new meet a mermaid exhibit but the line was so entirely long we just didnt have the patience for it. The kiddos got to touch a star fish and look at lobsters fight lol. The octopus wouldnt come out of hiding and the little sharks in the shark tunnel was a miniature of sea worlds. The whole thing no matter how much time you spend at each tank takes you at most 20 minutes, unless we stayed to meet a mermaid of course. We came from 2 hours away for it so we were a little disappointed but the kids liked it. And our luck their camera was broken right when we went to take a group photo but the people in front of us and after us all got photos so maybe the young lady just didnt want to deal with taking photos of that big of a group, idk. As i titled, neat little day trip if you live close but not worth a 2 hour drive.

The aquarium was well organized and had some good exhibits but is on the small side. It sits across from Legoland and they offered great deals to do both so that made it worth it. Upon entering the photo station was not working which was very disappointing to me be my family. Photo staff was unable to fix it or find anyone to work it... very disappointing as a visitor to the state. I would suggest going to the other aquarium odysea aquarium instead.

This was a very interesting Aquarium. It was easy to navigate because they have it all laid out so you don't miss any exhibits. The fish are beautiful and the pictures and descriptions that are near each exhibit tell you all about each species of fish. They also had a small room with several snakes, a tarantula, and a desert tortoise. I found the seahorses especially interesting. We went on a Tuesday around 1pm and it wasn't crowded but there were several families milling about. I understand the week-ends are quite busy. (why we went on Tues). We used our AAA card to get a discount, which was a very good deal at $10 each. We enjoyed ourselves and will probably come back when the other grandchildren come to visit.

This is a great place to hang out with the kids. Clean and friendly staff. They have a great selection of animals in a great setup.

The whole experience was amazing. The behind the scenes tour and the sea turtle encounter are not to be missed. The whole staff is very friendly and ready to answer any questions and give information on the exhibits.

Friendly staff & my two boys ages 3 & 1 really enjoyed all the different exhibits and animals. Would definitely come back again! We got a good deal to come here & Legoland.

We're visiting from out of town and were looking for an indoor activity for the kids. This aquarium was a great find. Lots of interesting exhibits. Our kiddos really enjoyed the tour. Only suggestion would be to buy tickets online to avoid the line.

My family and i attended sea life and were amazed. We loved it. Its not sea world. But still a great place to take the the family and friends. We highly recommend. And for sure we will be going back. Thank you

I went there with my three year old grandson who absolutely adored the place and loved running around and seeing everything I will definitely be getting a yearly membership so we can go more often this is a definitely yes from us.

Wonderful education stop and good use of local culture. The animals are well cared for. Great visit.

My family loves SeaLife Aquarium. The new outdoor play area is a great addition for little ones. The aquarium is small but staff is friendly and knowledgeable and holds several talks and feeds throughout the day.

I went to the aquarium this weekend for something fun to do my husband and I did everything possible that was available after your aquarium and enjoyed every moment.
Nothing like seeing beautiful sea life we are scuba divers so it is really neat to watch the Dolphins and the Penguins just love it thank you for taking such good care of them.
To everyone reading this if you haven't been to the aquarium go enjoy it and if you go on Groupon you can get different discount coupons

Just ok and about what you would expect for a mall attraction. It’s very small and overpriced especially if you are paying full ticket price. Our kiddos had a decent time but expected a little more for the money.
I will say that all the staff we encountered were great....very friendly and informative.

What a great aquarium to visit they had so much to see and do. Everyone in our group had fun and enjoyed our visit. I would definitely go back.

We took our 18 month old grandson and had fun watching him. With everything at his level - he had a great time and enjoyed being there.

Lovely variety of sea life, up close and easy to see. There is a touch pool, and they had a tortoise that you could see and touch. 30-45 minutes for $15. Would be nice if there were more interactive features.

Lots of different exhibits about different sea life, including penguins, turtles and others. Entertaining and educational.

An Aquarium in the desert, Yes! it is a family friendly learning environment for kids of all ages and an unexpected find.

My Dad & his girlfriend are in their 80's... world class scuba divers for most of their lives. Due to aging & health concerns, they are unable to dive anymore so I thought this would be fun for them to be 'under'! We loved it! the exhibits are so well done, mostly geared towards kids, but we are big kids, so it was great! The turtle rescue project is a highlight and needs more exposure... the docents are very passionate and knowledgeable..and, patient with the elderly folks! Fun way to get kids interested in the ecosystems.

Great place for you kids, 5 years old and up.
The "Octonaughts" area is especially fun for the kids. Grownup scan learn and enjoy the aquarium if you take the time, a lot of small children can kind of get in the way. The playground at the end is really fun filled for the young ones.

We had a play day with our grandkids (6 and 11) and wanted to do something different. We live in the area and had never visited the Sea Life Aquarium. What a fun outing for all of us! It is well maintained and has specialist on hand to answer questions and share information with kids and adults. The exhibits are small scale but very well displayed and detailed. We all had a great time and felt like we all had been on a deep sea adventure. Give it a try. Reasonably priced and you can spend as much or as little time as your schedule will permit. It is located within a shopping mall so it is possible to shop and have lunch before or after your visit!

What an unexpected delight! We came with boys ages 7 and 9 and grandparents. Very cost effective with a AAA discount. We spent 2hrs in total. The displays were fantastic and appealed to all ages. I appreciated their conservation message. They had freshwater and salt water exhibits. They had rays, eels, jellyfish, shark, and more...
I would definitely recommend it to children of all ages.

Good displays within aquarium. But young kids who cannot read moved quickly. Needs more to interact. Friendly staff.

Not a place we will go back to, very commercial, rushed through, expensive for a family, not as clean as you would expect.

Pretty lack lustre. you can do the entire thing in about 45 minutes. We did the legoland combo package which was also lack lustre. Will go to the real aquarium next time.

Went through the whole place in 30 min that's with 3 toddlers and looking at everything. Would never go back!!

Too expensive. $19.95 a person..very humid, my mom has copd in a wheelchair so she got a whole $2 off of her admission...in wa. Point defiance zoo. Price for a zoo & aquarium is only $10- with way bigger sharks. The biggest here was about the size of my leg.
But its right inside the mall so its "convienient" & the stamp your wrist very lightly which is good for all day if it lasts that long . But, unless your stressed out. Whos gonna go sit in front of a fish tank over & again. It was a very small aquarium. No walrus' no seals or otters, just fish tanks. A sea turtle zooms overhead in the tunnel viewing area..some cool stingrays
A few seahorses. 1 jelly fishtank that changes colors. You can touch a 4 in. Starfish..if that sounds exciting. The best part i thought i was vivid tank displays. The habitat was near to look at. Lots of colors. Clean tanks, all the fish seemed pretty well taken care of. So i am at least glad my money is going to their benefit. But if you are on a buget. I would not recommend it unless theres a Groupon or similar coupon.
My favorite fish came right up to me, he reminded me of my holland lop rabbit who jumps in my lap waiting for me to pet him. this fish has so much personality. As you can see in the selfie pics. Haa

Inside the Arizona Mills, Easy parking, decent price and a lot of great tanks and sea life and exhibits. The place is very informational and the staff was nice.

pretty cool for the desert. a little pricey, packed, and not too interactive. cool to go see though. my kids love it. if you have been to any on the coasts, it doesnt compare, but they do a pretty good job for here.

This is a one and done kind of place. Over priced and small. They force you into a photo the moment you walk in. Expected more for the money.

This one visit to Sealife cost our family of 6 TWICE AS MUCH as an annual membership to our local aquarium and zoo!! We hoped it would be INCREDIBLE for the price! And while it was nice, it wasn't over $225 nice! It was also VERY crowded and we could not enjoy each exhibit. A lot of waiting in lines, then being rushed through the experience. We were disappointed and frustrated.

We went to the Sea Life aquarium for the first time. It was amazing! The fish tanks were all so different and had so many fish to look at. The huge walkway with the tank that went overhead was spectacular. I loved going up on the deck above the tank with the stingrays. Our 6 year-old son had a great time. Thanks!

I bring my kids here at least once a month. They always love it. It is very kid friendly here and has a kids play area.

We had tons of fun searching for the answers to the scavenger hunt and learned a lot about sea life!

My 8 y.o. truly enjoyed visiting here. He felt he could get close to the fish. He enjoyed talking to the staff. The staff was very knowledgeable and took time to speak with him. I would recommend this as a good place to take your kids for a couple hours. I would go back again.

My experience was great. My friends and I, had a beautiful time together, i would recommend others to visit.

A really great experience! Went as a date with my boyfriend and were already hoping to do it again. We bought the tickets online which is cheaper, you just have to come in at a certain time. Everyone was super nice and really made our night.

I had an open mind going in, but I felt as if the place was designed to suck every last dollar out of my wallet before I got to the exit. Everything had a "for a few dollars more" strategy that left me feeling manipulated.

First time visit was in 2020 after just moving to the area. Pleasantly surprised at how clean the facility was. It wasn't crazy crowded and we were able to see everything we wanted. All of the animals were out doing their thing and the wife was actually able to get a little closer than normal to the otters because of the worker doing a Q&A. There are also really neat displays outside of the aquarium. We walked around the Titanic artifact museum which had a bunch of items from the ship. Very neat if you enjoy that history. Parking was pretty easy, I'd say the only downside is the price is a bit high for the size of the aquarium. We had walked around and saw most everything in just a few hours.

I came to Sea Life Arizona with my husband and three grandchildren.
They had a great time exploring and seeing the animals up close.
I was very surprised this was housed in a mall.
I do think this is pricey considering how long it took to get thru the exhibit though (30-60 minutes),

Excellent ....fun and interesting....worth traveling to Arizona to This place definitive Mind I recommend

The aquarium was a lot larger than I expected...being in a mall! Lots of things for the children to see and even some hands on exhibits. I think the smaller children really get a kick out of it...I know my 7 year old grandaughter did. There was a group of what looked like maybe 6th or 7th graders come through on a field trip and they seemed to enjoy it also. Nice gift shop at the end of the exhibits. Definately recommended.

Excellent small aquarium. A lot of exhibits to see. Definitely worth going to. Excellent value when purchased on the website.

We absolutely love the aquarium. We saved money by buying online and we were allowed to leave and go eat lunch. We chose the rainforest cafe which gave us a mini break and love their atmosphere. Then to be able to come back to the aquarium for another walk thru and see things we missed the first time. That was the best since we have a 3 year old. Even tho we have already been this is something we will do again with our toddler again next year. The workers said they try to change up the theme and add stuff every year.

I take my son every year. My son has autism and he loves fish. I love it because even if alot of people show up there are areas where i can take my son and he wont get overwhelm by all the people. Staff are always super nice i haven't had a bad experience since it opened been coming since my son was 2. He loves the fish so much and will return again.

I took my girlfriend and daughter here for the day and it was a very well put together Aquarium for the price..I would highly recommend it.

Our family has visited many aquariums. This one was good, not great. The nice things about it was its location next to Legoland and inside Arizona Mills. This allowed us to combine all into one trip. The aquarium is not too large, which allowed us to spend a few hours and then move on. The exhibits were informative and well organized. Some of the exhibits were "hands on" allowing the kids to touch the fish. The highlight of the aquarium is the large, central tank that includes the glass tunnel. We were able to watch divers feed the rays and sea turtle, which was exciting. The large tank has a number of beautiful rays and reef sharks. The are no extraordinary or large fish, like a whale shark. If you like aquariums, but don't want to spend 7 hours at one, this attraction works.

I did not expect much from an aquarium in a shopping mall. It is not spectacular. However, all the exhibits are wonderful. We went on a quiet day, and had a chance to talk to many of the knowledgeable staff.

Found this establishment by accident reading up on local attractions via Google. I was impressed with the staging and collection of sea life. I have visited coastal aquariums that offered less than this dessert one offers. The admission was fair, the trinkets and photo ops fair in price too. The guides were more lecture about how fishing and other commercial enterprises cause great suffering amount sea horses and such... Too bad human life is not taken to this level. Lots of kids stuff to do for the little ones that like to climb and touch and hold. There are several tanks with starfish, shrimp, and such to touch, but no picking up. Anyway, I will revisit this aquarium on another trip to Phoenix.

The aquarium was fantastic very hands on and my grandchildren loved it as well as myself and daughter

I was pleasantly surprised. This was a nice Aquarium. Lot of variety of sea life, coral and plants. My grandson loved it. Great place to take the kids and those that love the sea. There were several spots where they could stick there head up and feel like they were part of the aquarium. I always love the 360 aquarium part the best.

Let me start by saying if you want somewhere to take your kids onside to kill 45 mins this is a good place. The exhibits are decent but they don't have anything real special: some rays, a few small sharks, a small seahorse exhibit, and on tiny jellyfish exhibits. Mostly it's just fish you'd see in nature.

First Aquarium inside a mall i've been to. The exhibits were great and of course great for the kids. I enjoyed it as well and even saw fish I've never seen before.

I took my daughter and grand kids there and even though it was hot, hot hot outside, the inside was airconditioned and cool to look at for kids of all ages

For being located within the Arizona Mills Mall, I had no clue what to expect but it was very nice and they had plenty to see and do within their walls. Enough so, that we spent about half a day within. It caters to all age groups. We had 6 kids in our group raging in age from 11-3 and all of them loved it!
They start you off with pictures in various poses which are for purchase at the end! They provide each kid a hat and a stamp book in order to embark on a scavenger hunt within. Then you enter a locked waiting room where you watch a cute short video on the importance of saving the ocean and the creatures within. When the video clip is done, the door opens and you are finally able to make your way to see different areas.
My favorite part was walking through the tunnel aquarium! The kids loved it too!
At the end of the aquarium tour, the kids can show their stamp book for necklace prize and then they head on over to a playground to unwind while the adults decide whether or not they want pictures!

I didn't know what to expect with this aquarium being located in a mall, but it was great! The staff is really nice and the exhibits are impressive. I think anyone coming here and expecting it to be comparable to Sea World is ridiculous (which I think is the only reason you would ever see a negative review)- clearly it is located in a mall so it is not huge. But they have lots to look at and it is set up in a great way, so we had a lot of fun here. And once you purchase your ticket you are allowed to leave and come back as much as you want throughout the day, so if you want to venture out into the mall and come back later you can. Great gift shop too! You can also buy a combo ticket for the aquarium and Legoland, which is right across the hall. That's what we did and we had a ball!

This place is great for kids, my 6yr old is deaf and my 2 yr old is hearing and they both enjoyed. Some of the attractions allow you to touch the sea life, some have like a small globe to let you stand inside and be apart of sea life. At the very end it's a little play area with legos. They give each child a small booklet to collect stamps and received a prize.

SeaLife is one of the best aquariums for kids under 7. The tanks start from the ground up, making it perfect for viewing for little ones. There’s a Touch tank, an outdoor water area, a 360 viewing tunnel and much more. We love this place, it’s a great place to visit in the summer along with Legoland Discovery Center.

We love getting to see all of the animals and we even did a penguin encounter! I'm going to rat this aquarium as "Average" because it's really not the best one we've been to and actually more expensive than everyone we've been to, even in Las Vegas! If you're looking for a way to have some fun on hot days, it's awesome. But if you're looking for an A+ aquarium it's ho-hum and super expensive.

This was a good deal, when combined with Legoland. Kids really enjoyed this place, great for younger kids. The 7 year old had a blast. We would go here again.

Awesome time I had so much fun and got to learn so much about the sea life from this place definitely a must see.

It was situated in the mall. We got there early and went around the mall. The aquarium was lovely and there were a lot of interesting and interactive information
However we couldn’t go to the Lego land because we didn’t have any kids with us

They use the space they have wisely. My husband and I went and we both enjoyed it! Keep up the great work!

We booked our visit from Sacramento so we didn't know exactly where it was at, or what we were in store for. I didn't know it was in a mall area until we arrived.
We enjoyed the visit, and the tanks were beautiful. Don't let this small aquarium in the desert of Arizona fool you. It's a beautiful aquarium, All the kids no matter the age were having a fun time. Plus it's attached to a lego land experience, and while there visit the mall. It's a very nice mall.

Sea Life Arizona is a small aquarium located in the Arizona Mills Mall. It doesn't take a long time to go through (2 hours?) but it is well done. It mostly includes fish and fauna from the Arizona - Baja California area. It is wheelchair friendly and now has a water play/learn zone outside.

Was a great experience until my 6yr old daughter tried to buy a toy at the gift shop with her birthday money and they turned her away because they don’t accept cash. So be prepared to only use credit/debit and everything is way overpriced

We found a special on discounted tickets then found out they always have a great rate for active military. Thank you for supporting our troops and their families.
I loved how they engage kids from the beginning with Minion Goggles! They also get a little book of interesting facts and questions to answer throughout the aquarium, with a handsome medalian at the end if you find all the answers. This jump started the kids interest to explore for the answers. The adults loved it too! Many exhibit tanks are broadly convex magnifying the aquariums making you feel up close and personal with the wonderful variety of sea life and their habitats. I am in a wheelchair so saw everything at little person level....delightful! The facility is 100% accessible. There are touching tanks and an interesting video showing how they care for the animals and train them to come for their meals. They have rescued animals like a giant turtle who was fascinating to watch. The facility is clean, fun and interesting and for all ages!

Nice little aquarium in a mall in Tempe. Suited more for families with young children, it was a nice place to walk through, but expensive for the 50 minutes we spent there.

My husband and I took our 4 year old, two year old and baby here yesterday. It was fantastic. I think we enjoyed it just as much as the kids. The kids get diver goggles and a log book when you enter and they go through the aquarium collecting stamps in their book at different stations. At the end they get a medal for completing their log book. My kids thought this was awesome.
There are so many different colourful fish, sharks, rays, sea turtles, an eel, sea horses... there is a tank where they can tough star fish, urchins etc. Lots of tanks where they can stick their head up into a peep hole and have it feel like the fish are swimming right around them. One large area where the fish, rays, sharks and turtles are swimming above and below you.
I can't say enough good things about this place. We are so glad we went. There are lots of little information boards and games along the way as well. With the younger kids we didn't spend the time doing this but older kids and adults would probably enjoy.
Great day! Well worth the admission. We will go again next time we are in Phoenix.

I did not realize there were two aquariums in the area when I bought my tickets. Maybe I would give this higher rating but... it's really just a small venue inside a sort of stinky mall. Great for little kids. Not so engaging for my teenagers. I regret the ticket purchase.

A decent small size aquarium with plenty of species on display. Our young child was entertained and the grandparents enjoyed accompanying him too. Good for all ages.

A great place for family, a good quality-price ratio. It has a variety of interesting species. The kids love it………………..

We brought 7 grandchildren to the aquarium from ages 2-16. Although the grown-ups realized the limitations of the exhibits compared to the more "Official Aquariums" in larger cities, the children enjoyed their first time exposure to sea-life. The aquarium offers a sea-hunt passport that kept the kids engaged and excited to fill. There is also a play area at the end of the tour which surprisingly they had the energy to partake, as well.

This is a one-time visit and if you are looking for something different to do. Kids will probably enjoy it but I wouldn't pay to go inside again. Not bad for a place like this in the middle of the desert though.

We came here for the kids to walk around. The aquariums always amaze the kids. We always come back to visit while we're in town. Kinda pricey with few kids, but great place to go.

Our toddler enjoyed the sting rays and black tipped sharks. Since we were visiting in July and it’s 110° outside it was nice to have an indoor activity for a little one.

Went to the Long Beach Aquarium with son and 4 year old grand-daughter. They have inter-active exhibits and informational sites and speakers throughout. One was the otters - staff talked about the otters and showed how they brush their teeth. A pelt was available for the child to feel the coat. Sting rays, baby octopus, huge crabs, fish and sharks. I got a close up shot of the teeth of a shark and was surprised to learn that there were at least three rows of sharp bottom teeth. Saw a skate that was 8 feet across and my favorite, the leafy dragon. Delicate, looks like bones of a dragon with leaves. Viewed jelly fish. There is an area where kids can touch. There were also ecological exhibits which showed extinct, almost extinct animals and an interactive area which showed the rain in Los Angeles. The kids loved this because they could push a ball and make it rain. It is a "not for profit organization". Son purchased a family pass for $139.00 good for 2 adults and 2 children for a year. He also purchased the parking package for $20.00. When first purchase your parking is validated. This is tax deductible. Great place. Would go here again. Spent 3 hours +. Lots of things to see. Souvenir shops items were reasonably priced. The silly octopus hats were $8, stuffed animals about the same. Discounted rates for seniors.

Very well done displays. Great place to take little kids as they have low viewing so they can actually see the fish. Very clean. Tons of fish.

This was our second trip to Sea Life Arizona Aquarium. This time we brought all the grandkids and they loved it! Educational, beautiful displays and we were never rushed through any of the displays. The "littles" really enjoyed the hands-on portion where they could put their hands in the water and touch real sea creature. That is really important in the life of a little guy who hears "we look with our eyes!" so many times. There are always great deals on Groupon or TripAdvisor, so if you are in the area - it is a must see! Afterwards, there's a great food court with a variety of food choices, shopping galore, and if your littles are into Legos - Legoland is right across the mall from the aquarium. You get a great deal after you've seen the aquarium at $5 per person for Legoland too!

My favorite part was obviously spending time with family! and being able to enjoying the moment! That place was amazing.!💕

This is a great place for kids when it is too hot or cold outside. Unfortunately, the "Passport" stamp machines are not all working.

This a great place to go in the summer when the kids need something to do. It is so cool and comfortable inside. The kids love spending hours watching the fish and enjoying the cave-like atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

My family and I had lots of fun and learned some cool stuff about ocean life. Very affordable and a lot of the money goes to helping wildlife. Would recommend.

We have an annual pass. It is an easy place to take children during Summer break. My grandkids love getting to touch starfish and stand in a tunnel to watch sharks, turtles, manta rays and colorful fish swim around them.

We were at the Arizona Mills Mall and was trying to past some time, thought about going to see a movie and then we walked a little farther and ran into this place, So we thought why not. We got 1/2 price for having our zoo membership, so ask to see if you have one, how much of a discount you can get. We spent about 2 hours walking through the place looking at all the different sea creatures they have, it is truly amazing to see everything. They have plaques to read about the different fish and such. You can sit down in a movie area to learn about how they feed each and every one of them. Also very interesting. They have a program for the kids for a little extra money. They take about 5 pictures at the beginning in different poses and at the end you can see what they have done and purchase them if you want to. It was well worth the time and money to see this instead of the movie. I think it was around $24 for the both of us. They also have a nice gift shop to buy all sorts of items and a play area at the end for the kids.

We had some time to kill before heading to the airport so we decided to come here. My cheeks hurt from smiling so much! I couldn’t believe how much sea life they have here! Can’t believe it’s only $18! Love the interactive touch screens at the exhibits to read about the different sea life. My favorite though was the main aquarium! There are several different vantage points to watch the animals swim around. We absolutely loved it! We could’ve sat there forever and just watched. Highly recommend.

After rainforest Cafe we decided to stop at this aquarium. It was much better than we thought it was going to be. People were very nice, it's clean and there were activities for the kids. Lots of very cool aquariums.

Went here thinking it was like the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long BEACH but we were wrong. They have interesting and beautiful fish but it's small and dark environment. My 4 year old was scared the whole time since she is afraid of the dark. We didn't know there is only 1 way path, thought there was different paths and we choose what we went to see. We felt rush to see the aquariums since people were always coming in and surround us. So we were in a constant motion. We finished it in less than 30 minutes. We paid too much for a 30 minute thing.

Took two of our grand kids 7 & 5 everything was the right height for them and they had a wonderful experience. Will take the rest as there is so much visual, and educational experience.

Sea life creatures were less in number, and its not that big, but still a good and beautiful one. Well maintained and informative for kids.

The aquarium is very nice and clean. We were pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of sea life they had on display. Sea turtles, small sharks, various rays, a variety of fish, sea horses, angel fish, jelly fish, anemones, etc. It only took an hour or so to go through it with our three year granddaughter. Had she been a little older, we would have spent a bit more time. We especially loved the way some of the displays make you feel like you are in there with the creatures. Very cool and a number of ways to view the larger tank.
The only negative was that hours on the phone recording were inaccurate. It stated they opened at 9:00 a.m. and in reality, they opened at 10:00. Fortunately, we arrived later than we originally intended and only had to wait 15 minutes for opening.

We had some time one morning in Tempe and decided to swing by the aquarium. As school was out, there were many, many young children there in search for Dory.
We got there maybe 15 minutes after they opened. The exhibits are interesting but the programs are once an hour and you'd have to be there forever to see all of them. I really doubt anyone saw more than 2 shows.
While we enjoyed the aquarium and spent a reasonable amount of time at each exhibit, we were still done in 45-50 minutes. For $19 a person, it wasn't worth it to us.

If you are in Phoenix with small children they will love this aquarium. It is small, they are given a "passport" to collect stamps and a pair of paper goggles to begin their journey. All the aquariums start at ground level and most end about 4' up. As a parent you either have to bend over or sit to see well. The dips and domes in the tanks let kids feel like they are in the water with the fish. My toddler loved this aquarium. For the price (with AAA a little over $10) it was worth watching my daughter enjoy it. Everything was clean and the animals were active and healthy looking. It's also attached to a mall and food court area.

Awesome time with my daughter who is 5! She loved it. Took us 45 mins. Do the pics upfront first, because you will go through it and realize no pics where taken. That was confusing. Stop at the front first and scan the little card before entering. You can take photos after as well.

The place is mostly for little kids but us big kids had fun as well. I liked the places where you could stick your head in a bubble and look closely to the animals.

Took my fiancé for the first time and we loved it, unfortunately we didn't have time to stay for too long but we will definitely come back.

Lots to see and thats of interaction for the kids. You can stand in a glass bubble and be with fish. Walk over and under the fish on one ealkdway. The kids will have a good time.

We took my granddaughter who is 12. The aquarium was what she wanted to do for our day together. We had such a good time and she loved it. It was very informative and we all learned new things about sea life. We got to touch some of the live exhibits which really made the visit exciting.

It is a very small aquarium but has neat info stations for the types of fish. Kids had fun and the stingray tank was really cool. Take your time and read all about the fish.

We had a good time here. The aquariums were clean and had lots of species. The touch tanks were fun. The employees inside were extremely helpful.

Me and my girlfriend where just doing a solo trip with no tour and when the employee Meredith had given us some extra knowledge and a little tour that made our experience even better and that felt personalized would recommend to a friend if she still works there

we have been here twice now and the kids love it. lots to see and interact with. it doesn’t look too great from the outside but it is. and if you homeschool you can get a discount.

Took the Grandkids for day trip here, booked package with Lego Land Discovery, The aquarium was fun for the kids and us Grandparents, the displays were great and lots for the kids to do, I wish there was more interaction with more sea life in the tanks where kids could touch and handle sea life. The items in the gift shop were reasonably priced, I do suggest paying a visit during the week day as I hear the weekends get very packed, a total two thumbs up.

My family (me, husband, 2.5 yr old, infant) went here and I wasn't disappointed. We skipped a lot of the learning boards since my son doesn't read yet, but he LOVED looking at all of the fish. There are quite a few parts where you can go up under the fish and watch them swimming around you. He loved them and the large deck you could stand on and look below at the several types of fish in the tank. It was so fun to watch him with the "big BIG fish!" I was very happy with my experience.

This is a quite small aquarium. it is ideally suited for smaller children. quite a bit of repetition of displays. can easily be covered in an hour or so.

Very interesting, loved the quality of sea life, and of course the tunnel you walk through with sea life surrounding you.
Definitely geared for any age, best part for young ones it isn't overwhelming for them as far as too.much or too long to get through. Plus there's a bonus for the little ones with an indoor discovery room and outdoor water to get wet, yet no pool.

It was a good time. I made lord of sea buddy worker friends, They had lots of cool animals and interactive experiences for everyone of all ages to do.

Took my grandkids here when they came for a visit. Two boys, they really enjoyed it and had a very good time.

This location is pretty cool, cool fishes and educational. Several education spots for your little one to learn and play. They a jungle gym at the end, it's a little run down but the kids don't care. So take wipes and gel :)
Ask me any questions

I've heard people say that it is small and some that prefer other aquariums in the valley, but none are as esthetically pleasing. The lighting and design makes it feel like you are under sea with the creatures. I've been 4 times now and I always enjoy it as much as the kids. It takes about an hour to walk through the whole thing and there's lots of fun stuff for the kids.

I thought it was a bit pricey seeing that if was located inside the mall, but it was very good. The photos they take as you enter is definitely too pricy.

My brother-in-law was here and said it was better than the one in Honolulu, HI. Fun and very educational.

I always love to come here when I’m around the area. A wonderful place to visit and take your kids. I’m 25 and absolutely enjoy this place and all the learning terminals as well they have put next to the tanks. My son flipped out coming here for the first time and seeing all the many fish they have. To the adult eye you might find this place small but to me if you try to see it from a child’s perspective, I actually find this place perfectly sized and so much to do. I always like to be a child at heart, age meaning nothing. Take your kids, family, just don’t miss out on this wonderful experience and awesome events that take place.
I have tons of pictures from here but I’ve uploaded a couple to see

This is a small but very well done aquarium. Mostly salt water with some colorful fish, sharks, turtles and coral.

Not alot to see really. Mostly just fish. I definitely don't think it is worth the admission price. It was kind of like going to the pet store.

A very good place to go. A lot of fun. The sea turtle was really cool as well as the ginormous tank that you see at the end

This was basically as expected for the price. Touching pool should include more for small children. Grandson is 2 and it was hard for him to teach anything. Also the viewing bubbles to crawl into, he needed to be lifted up. Thankfully a young man offered to help since I couldn’t.

Buy combo tickets online with LEGO Discovery for a huge discount. Visits don’t have to be on the same day, but they can easily be done that way.
Get a punch passport for free to add a bit of scavenger hunt with a small prize at the end.
You can also add-on a fun pack for a fee that makes kids find more things in the aquarium. I’d recommend this for elementary age kids who can read and find on their own. It was perfect for our first graders. Our preschooler didn’t care about it.
Favorites were the wide variety of Morray Eels and the seahorses.
There’s a climbing play structure at the end just before the exit similar to a McDonalds playland in case you need to get some wiggles out before leaving.
Overall it was a small aquarium but it is well done and worth the delta to add on to the Lego Discovery ticket as a combo. Together it seemed like a good value and fun day outing.

Definitely worth the cost if you buy the Sea Life/LEGOLAND combo online. We spent one afternoon at LEGOLand and returned the following afternoon to Sea Life. The exhibits allow kids to get really close to the fish and the hands on exhibits give kids the chance to touch sea creatures.

Really surprised how much we all enjoyed our visit. All of the displays were very interesting. We had a 3 year old with us and he loved our visit. Highly recommend you include this in your visit to the Phoenix area.

This was so cute and inexpensive to spend the day with family ! My one year old spent his birthday here as was having a blast seeing fish so large for the first time
It was clean and the gentleman in the front was so nice and helpful !

Probably $$ for walkup entry fees but if you buy online 24 hrs in advance you can get almost 42% OFF !! Well worth it and fun ! Don't forget to get your fabulous picture afterward but again $$. Enjoy !

Since it was raining all day, we decided to go to the aquarium. It was a very nice facility with a lot to see, we spent 4 hours there, it was perfect for a rainy day, our 6 year old loved it!

We visited the aquarium with my family - 7 adults and 3 toddlers. The aquarium was full of things to see, great experience and so glad I didn't pay attention to other reviews that I'd seen that it was small. Better than the other aquarium near there that we visit while visiting AZ family in February. Great experience.

Our GS Brownie troop attended a WOW Journey Program that the SEALIFE offers. They did a great job teaching our girls this lesson. It was fun, interactive and informative. I would definite recommend this program to any other GS troops out there. Worth the money as the girls had a great time.

Located in the Arizona Mills Mall, you'd think it's too small of a space for an aquarium. Once you get inside though, there's a lot to see! There are many tanks inside with a good variety of sea life, but the centerpiece is the large ray tank with many different species of rays. There's also a neat little outdoor area with a demonstration of how rivers work. My daughter could have played out there all day! We actually spent about an hour and a half here, and we both had a great time. You can also get a good deal on a combo pass that includes the Legoland experience across the hall. That's what we did, and it was a great deal.

This place is absolutely spectacular. So much to see. The beautiful fish, sharks, stingrays, turtles even an alligator and more. Make sure you go into the restroom the view is amazing. Worth every cent. If you go after 5 PM the rates are cheaper.

Had a great time seeing all the sea life! There were tide pools to see and touch. pretty cool! It took about 2hrs. but we played and took a lot of pictures. It would be nice to have a self guided tour available. Maybe a station or something we can hear on our phones as we walk to different cases. The story about the shark with scoliosis we were told by a very sweet keeper was educational and made us want to adopt a shark... just thoughts and ideas. Thank you.

Save money buy ticket online you only need about 2 hours here a lot smaller then other then other locations

This is the perfect size for toddlers and preschoolers. My kids had a great time, and enjoyed the aquarium for a few hours. I’ve definitely seen more impressive aquariums in my life, and at full price, I felt it was a bit overpriced, but with coupons it would be about right. The staff was really knowledgeable and engaging. The playground at the end was great for getting out the wiggles.

If your going to Arizona Mills Mall , then its something to do at the mall with little ones . They could maybe make it a little more interactive and fun , since it’s not the BIG sea life .. I would recommend creating some NEW fun interactive things for kids to do .. But hey it’s in the mall so it’s pretty good for a mall attraction.

I wrote to sea life already and got no reply about my trip with my children 1 being special needs. My child has special needs and was very excited to see the seahorses and was making a little noise but we where asked to move from them as they where about to feed the sharks and they didn't want any sound so every could hear the guy talking but he had already kicked us out the shark exhibit and where trying to enjoy the aquarium by no means was my child screaming.I feel the manner of how the male worker spoke to me was very unappropriate." I need you to move along" and pointed to the way out. Sadly my family and I just left.

Took my grandson, it was perfect for a couple hour experience! Convenient location in a large mall, some interactive activities, a small "touch" pond, and a small play area at the end of attraction for him to run out some energy. We had a great time - would definitely go again.

Being brought up in this desert area, it's great to be able to show people some of the creatures that live in the water. It's facinating. I appreciate that some of them have been injured in nature, are rescued, and brought here for healing and cared for, and we get the benefit of seeing them in person. It's like a maze going through it. There's a lot more to it than it looks from the outside. Great indoor activity! I like even going by my myself and just spending time watching the sharks, jelly-fish, turtles, etc. A family can get through it in 2 hours, or stay for much longer. You can even go out, have lunch, and come back in. It's also next to a Lego activity place.

A good choice for entertain kids of all ages. Indoor fun and located inside a big outlet mall with A/C (which is great for a 100 degree weather)

Sea life was awesome for my 2 year old. I wouldnt expect this place to hold the attention of teenagers though. Take advantage of the toddler time ticket prices with your little ones, otherwise the price point isn't worth it.

We visited the aquarium with our animal mad 19 month old. He loved the bubble glass where you could put your head and watch the sea life up close!
On the whole it was not the largest aquarium but perfect for his age and attention. The place was clean, well laid out and staff were very friendly.

We bought our tickets online and got both Legoland and Sea Life for $29.95. We are a family of 6, kids ages 9, 6, 5, and 3. Three girls and a boy.
At first I thought, "How good can a mall aquarium be?" It was big and very good.
We did Legoland Discovery Center first (about 3 hours) and then walked across the way to Sea Life. We meandered through in about 40 minutes, which was at a decent pace. Could be done faster or slower—but unlikely more than an hour unless you are really going slow. There was one touch-the-sea creatures tank in the middle.
Towards the end there is an impressive large aquarium with a tube walkway.
The place ends in a gift shop.
We did it once and were glad we did. If it was your first time there, I'd do it in conjunction with Legoland Discovery Center. Next time, we will spend more time in the Legoland side and then explore the mall if we want to stay longer.

My daughter and I had a great time petting the starfish and watching the seahorses. The whole experience was entertaining and educational at the same time. The host at the sea star ponds were fun and interactive. And they are soooo patient with kids!

Smaller aquarium, easily seen in an afternoon (great when it's hot out!). Recommend buying tickets on-line the day of the visit to save $. Easy to get around, no need for walking shoes, and it is mostly wheelchair & stroller accessible. There is even a play area, gift shop & restrooms at the end.
Took my granddaughter for her birthday & she loved the variety of fish, jellyfish, sharks, turtles, etc. The tunnel was a favorite for everyone! There are little bubbles that you can go into to see into the aquariums. Throughout the day there are interactive visits to learn more about the animals & even to touch them.
We did not get a stamp book & there were few employees in the aquarium, no one to give stamps anyway. Those we did encounter were pleasant & helpful. The camera at the entrance wasn't working, but we came back another time just for (birthday) pictures.
We did not visit Lego Land as the kids were too young, but it would be a great place for children 3-4 yrs & up.
,

Very well done, but small. Really good for like 5-10 year olds. Since it only takes about an hour to get through it will hold the kiddos attention. Reasonable at 19.95 pet adult and cheaper for kids. They also had some kind of special scavenger hunt thing for the kids.

A nice small aquarium! Perfect for young kids!! Lots to see and very convenient location! Highly recommend!

We visited Sea Life Aquarium Arizona during a recent birthday trip to Arizona. We were celebrating my husband and my daughter's birthday. We headed to the aquarium for a Friday afternoon activity to beat the heat wave we found ourselves in!
I was impressed off the bat that Sea Life had a AAA discount which immediately brought out admission price down by $20!
From stepping into the facility I was further impressed that most of not all exhibits were geared to children's heights. This made my 6 year old much more engaged immediately. She was blown away! The passbook for kids with the 9 stations to get a stamp at is also a great idea. She actively found them and wanted to learn about different stations too.
My husband and I enjoyed the layout and pace of the exhibits. The marine life was colourful and interesting and all the displays were well taken care off. We especially loved the large exhibit with the sea turtle and eel as well as the walk through glass tunnel.
Overall I would recommend this activity for families with kids hands down! Great way to get out of the sun for a bit! We will always treasure our memories of this attraction as our daughter lost her first tooth while we were here!!!!

Beautiful but not really big for the price.
But it is a nice place to go with the kids.
And it’s in front of legoland!

The Sea Life Aquarium was AMAZING!!! The Mermaid show and meet & greet was Fabulous! My daughter had so much fun looking and learning about the many different marine life there. She even got to touch Starfish!! Great Place to take your family!!!

We lived it and it’s very clean and reasonably priced. Great way to kill a few hours and stay cool if hot. It’s also inside a mall so plenty of places to eat after or before. Need about 2 hours. Bathrooms inside and are clean. Cool customizable souvenirs inside gift shop

This place sure doesn't look like much from the outside, and we were nervous about it after our disastrous trip to Legoland across the hall, but it ended up being amazing! There are so many more fish and sea creatures than you'd think, and the aquariums are very well done. You can see the fish from several different angles, and there are "bubbles" for the kids to climb into. The atmosphere couldn't be more perfect. We really felt like we were on an adventure. The kids had a blast, the adults thoroughly enjoyed it, and even the teenagers ended up "oooh"ing and "ahhh"ing. Don't miss this! (But skip the Legoland package deal.)

My two year old was fascinated with the fish and loved the mermaids!!. We got there early so it wasn’t crowed!

Kat was very helpful she went above and beyond to assist me she was friendly, and gave great advice and suggestions. Had a great time with the kids

I have been here before when it was new but i recently came back with my toddler who really enjoyed it and thank goodness for the buy one get coupon I had otherwise it’s pricey. The good thing is you can leave and come back in that same day Incase you wanna grab a bite which is what I did.

This is such a great and beautiful place! My 6 years old grandson enjoyed it so much! It is a great learning experience for both children and adults. The best Aquarium I’ve visited here! And not to mention the staff were all friendly and professional! Thank you all!!

The aquarium is clean, cool with so many things to see, family friendly, affordable, inside the mall, plenty of places to shop and eat.

We were a party of 11 spanning 3 generations. Everyone of us found plenty to see and enjoy. Thank you!

This is a perfect aquarium for younger kids. Older kids will also enjoy the fish but I really think it's geared for preschool aged kiddos. They have an octonauts display and a playground at the end that are ideal for the smaller crowd. It's also small which is perfect for preschool ages to run around and have freedom to look and engage with the aquarium outside of the stroller. It's a bit pricey but they include the sea pass book and paper googles which is fun and something kids can take home. Overall I think this aquarium is a fun experience with an ok price tag that's out of the heat for moms/dads/caregivers who need to get out of the house to save their sanity.

Get place to take the kiddos for a day trip lots of activities and many different aquatic species to check out

Sea Life was a pretty decent aquarium. It's definitely aimed more for little children, but I found myself interested as well. The entire walk through took a little over an hour to complete. We were able to purchase tickets online so our wait wasn't as long. They have just about every basic animal you would expect to see at an aquarium attached to the mall. Legoland was rift across the hall and the mall was straight ahead past the aquarium. I took a lot of pictures and had a pretty good time there.

Drove from Kingman to Tempe to Visit sealife and i wish they would of let us know that they were having 5 bus loads of 7 year old that morning it was horribly loud and kids hitting the glass on the tanks . The teachers did nothing to keep the children under control we didnt even see any associate's there to help out. It wasnt even worth the time and money to come there.

For an aquarium in a mall, it is very good. Educational for younger children. Enough going on for adults. Package deal available with Lego Land across walkway in mall. They have scuba divers to feed fish. Small sharks and rays main attraction. Walk thru tube to see fish a good effort. Underwater backdrop done with atmosphere in mind. Can take a few hours to enjoy visit.

Its a smaller version of Odyssey, and a bit overpriced. With it being in the mall its a great place to take children. I gave it a very good rating because of the exhibits and cleanliness. I would definitely take my grandchildren for family fun time.

The fish were really nice. Tanks made it easy to see them. Kids had a blast. The tunnel was my favorite. Especially the glass floor.

I have been to a number of aquariums, all over the world.
Sea Life isn't a big aquarium, but it is very nice, for being in a mall. It is fun to watch the fish watch you and visit the petting pool. Yes there is a couple of small aquariums, where you can pet the fish and have the cleaner shrimp, do their cleaning job. Obviously, the fish are larger in the wild, but what do you expect, for the price.
The price is right, for hopping in the car and taking the kids to see a little bit of the sea, even in Arizona.

Definitely not what they make it out to be.
Pretty good for being in a mall though.
Definitely not worth traveling to but if you're in the area, good stop

The aquarium was great for the price! It’s only $15 to enter...however this is geared more for small children.

It was great for my elementary school field trip. The students had so much fun.The staff was awesome. Nick was a great educational staff member. I recommend to all

I've been to many of the Sea Life Aqu and this one was similar. The play area at this location was much better than usual! There were many great sea creatures to sea and my kiddos loved it! Shark tunnel is always neat! Highly recommend when visiting Phoenix!

We will never 'book' in advance...again. Life happened and we couldn't make the date we paid for, consequently we wasted $45.00...I know they don't have a certain amount of people entering based on reservations..they wouldn't have 'lost' money....the next day would have been perfect, but we couldn't afford another $45.00...so, never again will we be roped into 'booking ahead'.
Thom & Ginny Janulis

She enjoyed the sharks, seahorses, clown & dory fish! Overall it was a great experience for the birthday girl along with myself. We did the badge booklet which in the end she received a merit badge. It was a fantastic day of smiles, laughter & fun. Hopefully, we'll do it again soon. Thank you for the memories. 😄

My wife, daughters and I visited in January. It was a bit pricey for a mall attraction, and small, for an aquarium, but enjoyable. Many great displays of different sea life.

Certainly not the best aquarium I have ever visited. Paid the reduced online entrance fee of $17 per person but found that the aquarium only took 1 hour to go through. I guess the size of the aquarium is appropriate for young children but was disappointed in the amount charged for such a short experience. Paid a similar amount to visit the Musical Instrument Museum and found that the four hours we spent there wasn't even enough time to see it all!

This was a nice aquarium but overpriced for what you get. Check for deals online before you book, there was a toddler special on certain days of the week. Something that was a nice surprise was the play structure at the end for the kids (was a little on the dirty side though).

Considering that this aquarium is in a strip mall; it is pretty great. We've been there twice recently and have enjoyed it both times.

There was no long wait to get in. The staff was nice and friendly. It's a nice small aquarium. We were there on a Saturday and it wasn't too crowded.
The price is worth it if you are there most of the day. We entered, then walked the mall, then went back.
The Octonauts exhibit could be better. I loved the sting ray and exhibit. The area where it's all glass top and bottom was amazing, it would be nice if there were seating, we were in that area about 15 minutes. The play area could be better with more things for the kids to do and better ventilated, it was really stuffy and humid. The gift shop is nice and they have some cool affordable items for the kids. All the kids wanted something so it was great that the prices were affordable. I would return.

Took our grandsons here 9 and 10. They had a wonderful time. Some great photo opportunities. We loved touching the starfish. The stamping stations were fun too! Loved the bubbles the kids could stand under and feel like they were under water. Young and old alike will love this place. From the sharks to the stingray swimming over your head and under your feet. Loved the jelly fish display too.

The aquariums are beautiful! It was really fun going to each section seeing the different fish and the settings kept changing. It really kept the 2 & 4 year olds amazed.

The whole experience was amazing and wonderful! Coming from CA and seeing the sites are cool!!! Will recommend this awesome experience

My family and boyfriend loved this! Hands on many of the animals, great and friendly staff. Exciting tanks and turtles. We practically had the place to ourselves. It is in the mall which also has great food choices for all types. We had so much fun we even bought the cheesy family photos after :) buy tickets BEFORE to save!

I was skeptical because it is located in a Mall, but it is actually a really nice aquarium. My toddler and I both loved it. Staff was super friendly. They have a playground as well, and you can go back and play as many times as you want on the day of your visit.

Sea Life is really a great place to take children of all ages. It is great that the kids are able to talk to the staff about the different creatures and fish.

If you have small children, this is a great stop. There seems to be a lot to do for small ones. If you are a senior like me, not so much. The best part of the visit is the final stop on the tour as you sit in a room that turns four times for four different experiences below water. Very clever. However, for the money, I thought it was a bit expensive.
The staff is very pleasant.

Fun and enjoyable for the online price. Didn't think it was worth the price of the additional tickets we purchased at the door, but still enjoyable for the kids.

My daughter went on a once in a lifetime trip to Arizona with her grandmother as her 5th grade graduation gift. She was there from June 11th to June 25th.
Sea Life was one of the attractions they visited on the trip. While there she purchased souvenirs to bring home to Florida. (as a side note...the choice of a turtle also has to do with Girl Scouts as we are big on 'Save the Turtles' -- especially the hatchlings along our beaches.) This was supposed to be a keychain but obviously should not be used as one.
It broke about three days after I added it to my keychain. I first emailed them on the 11th of July and got no response so I emailed again on the 23rd and finally got responses which amounted to 'so sad, too bad'.
I cannot speak to the attraction itself but I would caution people against purchasing things that might break easily as they have a very strict 14 day return policy which does NOT allow for extenuating circumstances. You also have to bring the item BACK to them for refund or exchange. As much as this can be understandable, the reality is that if someone is on vacation in the area, they are not likely able to just run over and exchange a broken item as if it was the local Wal-Mart.
I dislike having to leave bad reviews but I feel that customer service should really mean customer satisfaction when it comes to attractions. The money you spend to get in, on food and drink while there, and keepsakes to take home should far outweigh replacing a little trinket that is LEGITIMATELY broken.

This is a "chain" style aquarium and I have been to them in the past and I still like going to them. They are more designed for kids but they are still fun for adults is you like animals and aquariums. They have some really cool designs for their exhibits that make it super fun to walk around in.

Kids and I had a great time here. We spent an hour or so walking through looking at the fish and interesting creatures. The fun pack was worth the price for my 7 year old. This was a good time for my teenagers and younger child. Staff was friendly and the aquariums were well maintained. A little pricey but if it’s to support the education of little minds, so be it.

The aquarium is located in the Phoenix area. It’s a perfect way to escape the Phoenix summer heat. The Aquarius are helpful, friendly and you can tell they all are passionate about their work. Had a great time with my family. Highly recommend this experience.

This is a world of sea creatures that will fill children with a sense of wonder. Its a little on the pricey side but a great activity for all ages.

Nicely displayed aquarium with a variety of sea life. Educational experiences were on hand, interactive, and with a in person teacher

We did a staycation in that part of Phoenix, it was a great experience very informative and educational. We really liked how they set up the aquariums the exhibits were all very neat and we never seen large sea horses or white sea horses before. Super glad we came to see it. We really loved the visit and time we spent there.

I know this Aquarium was focused on the kids, but my teenagers and adult kids loved it as well. We took about 1 1/2 hours to go through the venue. You get to see some very cool seal life, touch some star fish and let the toddlers play in the play area.

They had a little activity for kids to find stamps at these stations so they can get a little medal at the end of traveling through the aquarium. Super cute place, definitely a hands on place for kids to learn :)

It is decent place to spend with your child for an hour but a little pricey... good for first few visits but after that it gets boring since they don't change much and rarely do events.

My family was coming into town for the Thanksgiving hiliday week. I online booked a total of 12 tickets to visit the aquarium on the chosen day, then just an hour after I booked, I found out that none of us would be available. I called to explain my situation only to be told that they had no way to issue refunds and I should email my request. I emailed within 2 hours after booking and my credit card was not even yet charged. After sending my email TWICE I finally received a reply that they could not issue a refund, but would reschedule. I then explained that none would be in town to reschedule, and I really needed a refund of my $100+ . I got no response, no other emails,NOTHING. When I booked online, I agreed that the booking is non-refundable and non-transferrable. I get that! However, I was hoping that their customer service would find a way to refund of even just cancel the online booking, since I called and emailed before mycredit card was even charged, CUSTOMER SERVICE VIA PHONE AND ONLINE IS HORRIBLE. Because of their lack of understanding and unwillingness to help me, I will NEVER visit this facility. Lesson learned.

This is a pretty cool place to take the kids when it is either raining or you are just trying to get out of the heat. They have animals from the waters closest to Arizona. The workers were very friendly and wiling to answer and questions the kids had.

We have visited the Sea Life Aquarium many times and it is always an enjoyable experience. Even though the aquarium is small it has a good variety of sea life and the overall layout is nice.

Lively atmosphere good for both children and adults! Thousands of fish. The shark exhibit and the jellyfish were my favorites. If you want to, you can swim with the dolphins or visit a lovely restaurant and watch others swim. Fun location with lots of other places to visit and eat!!!

So we brought my granddaughter here...so loves fish...she’s a toddler, so of course she does. It’s a smallish aquarium...nothing great and a little pricey for my taste. She enjoyed it for a few minutes...but then, like the rest of us, she was done.

We have done quite a few aquarium visits over the years and this one can be accomplished in 1-2 hours. Interesting facts and cool salt water fish to view. Friendly staff.

I had bought tickets online for myself and my grandson, we picked the 10-10:30 slot. We arrived at 9:50 to a small line. While standing in line I over heard the staff tell someone, go to the need ticket window its faster. Wait, what? I pre-bought tickets for a specific time yet it is faster to just walk up? It took until 10:25 to get to the front of the line to get in. Once in it was crazy. Way to packed, my grandson is 5 and he couldn't get near any of the tanks. There where at least double the amount of people crammed in there that they should have allowed. Even the area where you can touch items he couldn't get near anything due to older kids taking up all the space, with parents no where to be found. We walked through the whole thing in 20 mins due to his inability to see anything, he played for 10 in the playground area but that too became horridly over crowded. Like fire hazard packed. All in all a huge waste of money, a huge let down for my grandson. We will never go back and believe me, I will let anyone who asks know how bad I think this place is

This was a dual package with the Lego Discovery Center. I would have liked to have spent more time there seeing the exhibits and reading about the different life forms; however, the kids were spent from Legos and pretty much raced through. The most interesting thing for them was petting the starfish and the lobster. Other than that, they were done. It's pretty small overall, and I'm glad we tried it out, but don't get your hopes to high for a stellar time.

Took grandchild and my daughter, so much to see. Great way they display the various fish and sealife. Need to visit several times to see everything. We bought annual passes for family and grandma. Lots of walking, wear comfortable shoes. We skipped the snack bars inside and had lunch at one of the cafes in the complex, outside. (The Pizza place, it was a very good thin crust pizza. You can customize your own, does not take too long if with young children.)
Only thing we had challenge is the turning exhibit that you sit in theater seating and move from one tank to another in a circle. It takes to long for younger kids to sit quietly and difficult to find the exit, even if you sit in the back of the room. You leave strollers outside some exhibits also. Watching penguins was the highlight for our family, but it is hard for little ones to see unless you hold them...always a crowd.

Good variety of ocean life, a touching tidal pool, and a "scavenger hunt" to collect stamps for a medal. We only spent about an hour walking through because our 3-year-old was on the move from one tank to the next. If your children are older, I am sure they would spend more time looking at the fish and listening to the presenters. I liked that everything was at eye level for children and arranged in a way that made you feel like you were walking among the fish. Only downside was the price, so look for coupons on-line (Groupon).

Would do it again kids loved the fish an all the sea life. Cant keep them out of the tube with all tha larger fish.

Not large, but nicely organized with plenty of space between tanks. Little kids find it just their size. Nothing special in the collection, but still plenty of interesting creatures, especially the open ocean tank in middle of the exhibits. Easy to follow route through the aquarium. Climbing tower at the end.

Fun, family experience. Very clean place and friendly staff. Our group had ages from 10-75, and everyone enjoyed it! Recommend for everyone!

I'm a little critical of aquariums in general, but Sea Life, considering it's location, is a great place to take the family. It's clean, the exhibits are fun, the animals are well cared for and the staff is friendly.

My husband grew up in Monterey, California home to one of the worlds best aquariums. I knew this aquarium was not going to be as impressive but when I discovered it was in a mall and located across the hall from Lego Land, I became concerned that it was meant for young children. It was definitely geared toward them, but there was still plenty for "grown-ups" to enjoy. All-in-all we had a good time and it was a great way to kill some time.

It's really cool. Cheap and awesome. It's great for young kids. Heck I liked it and I'm 35. It's like a smaller odysea. It's in a mall so you can shop after.

Love it. They had a check in at every area of the tour and at the end you get a prize. Love the hads on active and the fish tank was great. The sharks your can see at every point. Clean and lots of room to see exhibits. The last part was a kid's playroom was kind of packed not a lot of room for adults to sit. But all and all was good

The aquarium is inside of a mall so, I expected it to be fairly small. Once inside, I was impressed with the amount of tanks. Each tank has a touch screen display with information about the tank size, species, etc. There is an area where you can observe a shark feeding and another with starfish, lobster, crabs, and other aquatic animals that provided a demonstration and education. The facility was clean, well organized, and all sea life appeared to be in good health. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. There is plenty to see and you should allow yourself 1 - 2 hours to enjoy your visit.

Really cool up close fun with fish. Very educational and fun exhibits. Lots of things for kids to do. Beautiful fish.

Well it's in a mall. I got advanced tickets for 10 dollars each. There were no crowds so speak of. It was darn near empty which was nice. We took our time and were inside for 1 hour. They have some great aquariums and a few were interactive. We loved it. It was a nice small trip that didn't take all day. I don't know if I would be okay paying much more than 15 dollars per person to get in. The advanced ticket was perfect. ids loved it and I'm glad we did it.

We spent just an hour there! It is clean, educational, for kids and adults! It’s good but not great. Get the online pass for Legoland and the aquarium for $29.99 per person and I think it’s a better deal. Good luck with finding a table to eat your lunch and snacks! The place is packed sometimes. Long lines for the Legoland two rides! Plan to spend at least 3 to 4 hours or more here, including wait times.

Such a variety of a display and information of the sea life. Time well spent. Very clean and some of the care they provide are for aqua life to return to the wild

Everything very beautiful and interactive, we had an amazing time, very beautiful aquatic animals, it was a phenomenal experience, my son enjoyed it from start to finish.

This was an extension we bought with the Legoland ticket. Sea Life Aquarium is right across the hall from Legoland. I'm glad we got this extension. The aquarium was on the smaller side but well worth the stop

I loved that everything was at child's level. Perfect for my one year old daughter. She could walk right up to the tanks, lots of cool things for her to touch and explore throughout the aquarium.

I took my 6 year old granddaughter and she had a decent time, but only when the bubbles in the aquariums were available that she could put her head in so there's the illusion you're in the tank with the fish. They had one station where the kids could put their hands in a tank and touch shrimp & starfish. A lot of the smaller tanks were nearly or completely empty. It was insanely humid. There were scheduled feedings/informational sessions in different locations throughout the aquarium, but the adults and kids were so noisy, you couldn't hear the employee (who had a microphone). At the end of the attraction there's a jungle gym type area and the parents were all sitting around, staring at their phones, instead of watching their kids. My granddaughter wanted to play on it, but we had to wait a while because the bratty kids were being mean to the other kids and the parents were all totally oblivious to what was going on. The biggest annoyance of all was the gift shop. We searched high and low for a t-shirt so my granddaughter would have a souvenir she could wear to school. Not a single t-shirt with the name of the attraction was available. What kind of gift shop doesn't carry t-shirts to advertise it? I asked and was told they had some, but they'd been put away and weren't being sold. How stupid is that? I can safely say I will never go back and I'll think twice before going to any other attractions under the same company.

This was a nice smaller aquarium. Clean and informative. Great for families. Very much enjoyed it. It has a relaxing, at the ocean vibe. Much needed after days spent in training. Enjoyed the visit very much.

I love the exhibits and everyone in my group was intrigued by the beauty of the aquariums, the positivity, the music, and the lights. It was absolutely beautiful.

My niece's just love coming here. We purchased the year pass for sealife and Legoland. After 2 visits it pays for itself.

This was my first ever aquarium visit and it did not disappoint. Sea Life is a great place for all ages

Is a small aquarium and won't need more than one hour to finish the whole thing. Is a good place to take little kids to run around on the property. I didn't have to pay admission due to Merlin Annual Pass. So overall is a pleasant experience but could be expanded and add more attractions to make it a even more amazing place to visit.

Very nice assortment of fish. Great views of fish. Family friendly. Enjoyed the walk through tube of fish! Took us about an hour and a half to view.

Sea Life is a new museum / aquarium. It has many different exhibits, not repetitive with only tanks and pools like older aquariums.

This place was good! It was clean and fun but not sure it was quite worth the price. It was $18 per adult. I probably would go again at a discounted price. I don't mind paying money for something worth it. But in my opinion it wasn't worth the price.

We took the grandkids to see this aquarium, they had a blast especially with getting their books stamped with every sight. The also learned about the different types of seaside, and where they come from.

My family may be spoiled in that we've experienced Shedd, Georgia and Scripps Aquariums, so we tried to go with an open mind. This place was average. The cost was not expensive, but not cheap. The set up was not awe-inspiring, nor dilapidated. Just complete, middle of the road, average.
In these types of places, I normally have to prod the kids to move along. Here, though, they looked and then moved along on their own. No one lingered or begged to stay in any area. The biggest hit was the playground at the end, and we could have done that for free at Burger King.

My Lego Master, son LOVES Lego, so on our recent visit to Phoenix the LEGOLAND Discovery Center was a must. A great bonus was the Sea Life Aquarium next door in the Arizona Mills Mall for only $5 more with the discounted online ticket combo and it was well worth it.
We have an annual membership to the Legoland back home and know how great it is, the added bonus was the Sea Life Aquarium next door. The fresh and ocean water aquatic life that we were able to see was stunning including sting rays, sharks, turtles, thousands of fish and even a interactive touch tank to feel starfish, sea anemones, shellfish and others. There were so many interactive learning exhibits that between Legoland and Sea Life we easily spent the entire day being entertained.
Legoland was Awesome with it's Merlin and and Kingdom Quest rides, we all loved the interactive 4D movies with rain, snow, wind and other elements that you feel within the theater experience. Our guy loves to build so the Racer and Workshop area were popular and spent over an hour making friends in the Play Zone. The new Dino Explorer exhibit was unique with large Jurassic models and a great build area. We love the Miniland because each is unique to the city of that particular Legoland. It was cool seeing the Lego versions of sights we had just seen on our vacation like the Grand Canyon, Chase Field, Sedona, the desert and other areas in Phoenix. We loved it and my son says "Don't forget to bring your Lego minifigure to trade with too!"

Great smaller Aquarium. Large variety of sea life and new Colorado river experience. Very educational, staff is very knowledgeable. Kids love it, grate for all ages.

I’m very pleased with this place . It’s just large enough but not overwhelming for little guys. We enjoyed it so much we left the aquarium to go have lunch and then went back for another go around. The kids were tired on the way home and that’s usually a win!

This is best geared towards younger children. The price is steep for the size of the aquarium but the kids did have a good tome watching the fish. It is a bit cramped as we were using a wheel chair and a stroller. It would be more worth it if you have the time to commit to doing the LEGO land aquarium combo.

We were looking for an indoor activity (it was 112 degrees) to pass some time before a flight back home, and this was perfect! You save a few dollars on a 1day advance purchase, but the $20 adult cost we felt was well worth it. There are digital screens for learning facts about each species next to the viewing tanks and friendly, knowledgeable staff with any questions. We didn't know what to expect from some of the bad reviews from adults, but we found it very interesting and spent about 2 solid hours there. We went on a Monday, so it wasn't too crowded, and we don't mind kids because ours are all grown and we miss all the craziness and excitement that have! The aquarium is also located in a large mall with lots of great shops and restaurants.. so it was an inexpensive and entertaining way to beat the heat and spend a few hours.

Cool indoor aquarium but waaaaay over priced. Cost $86 for 2 people. Way too much money for the brief visit.

It's nice. But smaller than its counter part in Bangkok.
Good part is we could touch few starfish in the tank. That was an experience.

One of the things that would have made my visit much better was for there to have been a place to drop luggage. There are no lockers or places to drop bags in the mall or at the aquarium. Having to pack my bags/luggage through the aquarium detracted from the experience.

We went first to legoland - waited in a very very long line only to be told we had to go to the Aquarium, because even tho we had purchased tickets for both, we then had to go to the end of a long line that went out into the mall to get our tickets. By the time we finally got to the front, it had taken us an hour! We purchased tickets for all of our grandkids and their parents so we could go as a group. I have physical challenges, and I was so worn out from trying to get tickets that I was unable to enjoy most of Legoland.:( The grandkids had fun, and enjoyed everything once they were able to get in. Price of food was totally outrageous in my opinion. WARNING: NO Senior discounts on anything! I doubt I will do this activity again with my family primarily due to cost, inefficient slow staff, and lack of handicap friendly areas. I did enjoy the movie at Legoland. Wish I could have known it wasn't the same one repeated over and over.....didn't find out until too late. Wish I could have known that adults didn't need the necklace and such that cost a small fortune in Legoland...would have saved us a bunch!

This was our first experience at an aquarium and it was the perfect size. My 7 year old all the way up to my 73 year old dad enjoyed this place. Lots of fun fish, sharks, turtles, sting rays, etc to see. Very cool 360 degree tunnel that you get to walk thru and the trip can be educational if you allow it. It took us a little over an hour to go thru it but I could've taken more time if my daughter hadn't been in such a hurry to collect all of her "stamps" for her stamp book! Nice place!

Easy viewing with Clear Tanks, Huge Spiny Lobsters, and Very Fun Tunnel through Big Tank. Great Penguin Exhibit.

My daughter took me here for my birthday and it was just so special. Everything is laid out so that you can really focus on just one thing at a time and there are two surprises, one in the woman's bathroom and one in the main building when looking us which I won't share so that it leaves it a surprise. The people that work there are very informed on the animals and are very interesting to talk with. It is a bit expensive but so worth it.

I've been to over 50 aquariums around the United States. I love them and like to check out any new one I can. This one is rather tiny like many of the other sea life experiences. This one is located in the mall. It's pretty tiny would be hard to spend more than 30 minutes at this place. Cost of $20 for an adult though since it's in a mall the parking is free. There are some nice exhibits it's just tiny. It's a if you have a coupon or discount or something like that that it's worth visiting but I wouldn't go too far out of your way for this small place

The tanks were beautiful and full of sea like. It is not a large aquarium, you can probably get through in under 45 minutes. Great variety of fish. Tanks & common areas were very clean

This aquarium is inside the Arizona Mills Mall and is in the place of a store that left the mall, so it is not large. There is a good variety of displays for its size however. We spent about an hour looking around; most of the displays are about what you would see at any other aquarium. The big surprise was its location.

I liked it, but the kids where more into going back to the mall. Its a quick visit, won´t take more than 2 hours. We saw 2 divers feeding the sharks, the devilfish and other fishes.

I love this place a lot. I am from South Dakota where we do not have aquariums, so coming to even a small one such as this is beautiful. I brought my fiance to his first ever aquarium here and he LOVED it! The people working there were friendly and fun to talk to. There isn't much to see, but what you do see is clean, clear, and beautiful. There is a lot of things to interact with throughout the attraction, and lots of domes to let you take nice pictures in. Beautiful little place.

Now if you are used to big aquariums like Seaworld you will be disappointed. But for those of us too far away this is a nice place to visit. Staff on hand to answer questions at the tide pool. Just purchase tickets online 24 hours in advance.

What an amazing place!!! I don't know who had more fun, us or our kids!! They have EVERYTHING; sharks, turtles, penguins, touch pools, and very knowledgeable staff. We had the opportunity to pet a baby alligator and a Ball Python. A lovely staff member named Hutch was super friendly and outgoing ad were the rest of the staff. It is well worth the price of admission; but make sure you see the movie and do the Carousel of Life!! You won't be disappointed with any part of this place and neither willing the kids, no matter what age!!

The aquarium is clean, thoughtfuly laid out, and has excellent facilities. There's a great range of animals to see and informative signage. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there is a lovely gift shop with a reasonably priced and good selection of items.
The standard tour is worth the ticket price to visit. Your ticket lasts all day so you can pop in and out to use the food court or visit the shops in the mall as well.
We paid extra to take a Behind the Scenes tour with a turtle encounter, which absolutely made the experience for us. Our tour guide AJ was first class, and we learned loads about how the aquarium works hard to keep the animals healthy, and about marine conservation and the role of the aquarium in this. We also spent time above the main tank with Natali, the Aquarist who looks after Ziva the rescued Green Sea Turtle. We learned about her and sea turtles generally, why she cannot be released back to the ocean, and got to see her very close up as Natali fed her.
Ziva is gorgeous and clearly very inquisitive and engaged - she was watching us as much as we were watching her. The tank is very clean and the animals are extremely well looked after.
If you're looking for something a bit different, and are interested in conservation, this is definitely worth paying extra for. Our 10 year old loved it as much as we did, so this is a good family activity.

Visited on June 8th in the evening.Very good experience in the exhibit, only complaint was the employee working the gift shop complimented my husbands tattoo, that wasn’t the problem, but at the end she had to add “by the way marry me” definitely not appropriate to do while your representing a family oriented establishment while your in uniform.

I have been to numerous aquariums and this by far is the best!! Less than a year old, it has all the latest technology. Absolutely loved the ampitheater!! It is also surrounded by numerous other things to do in the same complex (like a Butterfly House) and restaurants. Could bring the family and easily spend the whole day there. Highly recommend!

The aquarium is clean & definitely kid friendly. If you are bringing your little ones to the aquarium, it won't take you long to get through the whole thing. I'd say about a half hour, 1 hour max. The aquarium is located in the largest outlet mall in Arizona.

Sea Life AZ is a good indoor place to take kids on a hot day in AZ. My daughter's favorite part was the playground at the end. As far as aquariums go, I felt like it could have been better. Especially for how much money it costs.

This was my first time at Sea Life AZ and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff are very polite and engaging. The various displays are beautiful.

Great variety of exhibits and very educational & interactive attractions! My niece fell in love with the seahorse exhibit! The staff were friendly & knowledgeable as well! It’s great that it’s a part of the mall, but also separate as well! I bought the combo tickets for both sea life aquarium and LEGOLAND, definitely worth the money!

Great aquarium. We were a little skeptical since it was in the mall but definitely caught our attention. The area was clean and full of surprises. One recommendation to ensure personal taking photo is aware how to take it especially with BIG groups. We went twice to retake and still some people were left out or cutoff.

This place is mostly only for children. Super cute and has some neat scavenger hunt thing for them. Really appreciated the staff and love the atmosphere.

We went to check out the Colorado River Experience, but wandered through the whole place while we were there. This is a great place to take kids during the summer. It's nice and cool inside!! There are activities as you go along to help keep kids interested and the "Rangers" were great about answering questions. We were there for over an hour and I have to say, I think I enjoyed it as much as my Grandson!!

The little ones had a great time seeing the sea creatures. The staff was very friendly and taught the boys about the animals. There were neat areas where they could put their head in a plastic dome so its like they're in the water. The tunnel where you are surrounded by water was cool. Don't ruin the surprise for rhe kids before they get to the tunnel.

I stopped at the Arizona Mills mall after a day trip I took while vacationing in the area. I stumbled across the aquarium and went in. It's bigger than I thought it would be from the outside. A very nice surprise. It had some touch tanks and plenty of other tanks, large and small. It's a little pricey for one adult but I don't mind supporting the cause. They are part of conservation programs. I had a fun time seeing the marine life and reading about their programs. You can go back the same day if you want to also enjoy the huge mall. There is also a LegoLand across the hall, and parents can purchase a combo ticket for their little ones.

Was fun and kids ages 2, 14 and 12 really enjoyed themselves, there was something for all to do even adults. Would visit again. Staff were nice and professional.

Took my 6 grandchildren here. Several areas where you could climb under and pop up in a little bubble to see the fish. There was even a walkway where you were surrounded by water. Lot's of different fish. I didn't expect such a large place with so much to see in a mall. I would totally recommend it.

We have a membership. It includes legoland discovery,so it is a no brainer. We spend a lot of time here in the summer. My son loves touching the sea urchins and star fish. Small play area at the end.

This Aquarium is a pretty good place to visit for the family. It does get pricey, but I get discounted tickets through my work that make it a little more affordable.

Really fun and the displays are well thought out. Hands on for the kids. Very diverse selection of sea life

I didn't know what to expect since the aquarium is in the mall but I really enjoyed it. It's a lot smaller than the one in Carlsbad but there is plenty of room for the kids to explore. They have a wide variety of fish, sharks, turtles and stingrays.

Our teens liked it but it was rather small . This would be a great place to take younger kids. There are little interactive areas and a touch pool built for kids of smaller size. A great thing to do on a hot summer day.

It was fun but I thought I would have some kind of a guided tour since I had to book for a specific time. I have to write more ch

The trip at Sea life Aquarium has been like an Awesome Aquatic Adventure. There are several species of sea animals and what more you can actually touch them and be with them .

This specific location was smaller than other Sea Life Aquariums we visited, but the kids loved it nonetheless. The touch pool is always fun for the kids and they love to see the sea horses. Try to find a coupon, because it's pricey. Pairing it with a visit to the LEGOLAND Discovery Center is great, but it's was too much for the kids to do in one day. The aquarium will honor entry for 14 days if both attractions are purchased as a package.

We love the fish and music!! and Isabelle and Tom Nook were amazing to meet! We visited twice now and loved it each time ^-^

I visited Arizona Sea Life Aquarium yesterday, over Labor Day weekend. I found out about this aquarium from a brochure in my hotel, which offered a $3 discount. The cost ended up being about $19 for just me. That's about the price of any aquarium I've been to so not too bad.
The aquarium is small and can be enjoyed in about 1 to 1.5 hours. My favorite part of the museum would have to be the Tropical Bay of Rays. I liked the shape of the aquarium and the different species of animals in the tank. I thought the Shoaling Ring was a cool idea as well, but it seemed to have only one kind of fish in that tank so was not as interesting as the Bay of Rays.
Children would really love the aquarium. It has a special section for them to explore called Octonauts: The Ultimate Experience. Of course the rest of the aquarium is nice for children, too, but the above is more interactive for them. There is also the play zone for children at the end of the aquarium.
My other favorite part was the ocean tunnel. It was a very cool experience to be surrounded by the aquarium and have fish above, below and to the side of me. The glass on the bottom was a little hard to see through as it was either scuffed or dirty but it was still cool to see.
I wish the aquarium had more jelly fish and crabs. I believe the crabs are supposed to be in the Rockpools area but I did not see any. The moon jelly fish were interesting to see. They changed colors from red to green. Not sure if that's lighting or if the jelly fish actually do that themselves. Jelly fish are my fav so I was hoping to see more exhibits with them. I think there was just one spot with them.
I did enjoy the seahorse exhibit though. There were a lot of seahorses to view and interesting facts to read about them. There were pregnant seahorse males as well.
Overall, it's definitely worth checking out as it's in a good location, clean, okay priced and attached to the mall and Legoland.
Fun time, young ones will love
We took our 3 year old grand daughter to this aquarium for her first one. At first it was a little scary because of the low light level and big creatures. After a few minutes she really got into it and loved sitting under the below tank viewing ports. There were tickets available online for a significant adult discount. I recommend checking this availablility.
