All in one spot

By enhasa |

Everytime I am in San Jose for work trip, I will not miss this place. Eat, drink, shop, Tesla (pet your favorite car here!)! Holiday season is especially beautiful. Doesn't matter if you visit alone or with company. There will definitely be something for you.

Not Rodeo Drive, but Close!

By Kari D |

Two reasons this shopping experience doesn't get a 5 star: 1. Parking; 2. Prices. Many of the stores here are very upscale and pricey (no surprise), but some are WAY overpriced, with exact same items available elsewhere in the city (and some right across the street in the Valley Fair Mall) for a fraction of the price. You really need to know your high-end items before buying in some of the stores here. And parking just plain sucks. Be ready to walk quite a way.

Those things aside, Santana Row is great shopping. It's fun, pretty, and very clean with lots of different shops, great places to eat and bars...even some with live acoustic music. You can spend a whole day here and even catch a movie.

Nice spot

Posh and Cool place for leisure

By The Incessant Travel Dreamer |

Santana Row is one of the most expensive shopping areas with many signature shops. The streets and the center place is very lively and beautiful. Live band or music performances add to the enjoyment. It has some fine dining places too. Loved the place to hang around, especially in the evenings.

European -style oasis in the heart of Silicon Valley

By Dr. Will To |

Santana Row is a great place to hang out with a coffee or boba on a nice day with friends and family. The boutiques and outdoor restaurants give it a very Barcelona-style feel while you are enjoying your time there. You can recognize many of the places as Bay-Are local owned businesses like Optical Illusions and Boba Guys, but they also have big brands like Arc'teryx and Vuori.

Upscale shopping center

By Heather S |

This area is a mixture of restaurants, higher end stores, hotels, and upscale apartments. Beautiful tree lined streets and a variety of stores. Plenty of places to sit and relax.

Above and Beyond

By CaliforniaExplored |

Santana Row in San Jose, is an upscale and first class destination which masterfully blends touches of European and California culture and architecture. More than a place to dine, drink and shop, it is a place that invites exploration as well as relaxation. Santana Row reflects the vibrancy of San Jose and is an experience that is above and beyond.

We spent a long weekend staying and exploring Santana Row on a mini-vacation. Reservations highly recommended. Yes, it does get crowded, but rather than detract, it adds a little extra excitement. Hope to return again!

pricey

By f a |

been there many times. had dinner and cocktails at one of the restaurants...2 people, 2 dinner, 2 cocktails = $120
very good place to visit special on weekends when they have some live music in the street, etc., but buying things at the shops there.....take your check book and lots of cash with you

Shopping

By #mom42millenials |

This is a high end shopping street...not a lot to shop at but a fair amount of eateries...did not spend a lot of time there . Kind of disappointing

Nice but expensive.

By Michael S |

Beautiful surroundings. Restaurants, parks, sidewalks, people. It's like a little city. It does get crowded but the movie theatre is nice.

Very nice place for shopping and dining

Santana Row at San Jose is a very nice place for shopping and dinning. The environment is very good with a lot of restaurants and coffee shops.

One of the nicest shopping and dining areas in Norcal! Architecturally, a taste of italy and france in CA. Especially lively and fun on weekend nights.

Great Open Commeecial Center and Mall

By Toni T |

We enjoyed an afternoon and evening here strolling through the area of upscale shops, eateries, and the medians decorated with twinkle lights on trees. The shops have accessible entry and accessible venue with wide aisles.
International and domestic chains offer clothing, jewelry, sports equipment. Books and more. The eateries offer a variety of cuisines
Accessible venues. Free accessible parking in garage.

Spectacular People Watching

By Stefani1220 |

Santana Row is an excellent place to take a Sunday stroll, a Friday night dinner date, or a fun place to shop. Many of the restaurants have sidewalk tables that are perfect for people watching and enjoying a cocktail or something yummy to eat.

Restaurants not up to scratch

By superspeed1 |

Santana row is a great place to hang out especially in the summer. There are some decent shops and a nice atmosphere if you want to get drink wine, get coffee or just take a stroll, however I have tried all of the restaurants on Santana row and there is only one that is pretty good.

All the restaurants on Santana row have yelp ratings of 3 stars or less for a reason .. they either have bad service or the food just isn't up to scratch. The only restaurant in my opinion that has good food for the price is pizza antiqua and I don't even like pizza that much. They have good service and the food is nice.

It's sad that the managers/ owners of the restaurants don't seem to care, their ratings have remained poor for years. It seems like they get the business so they are not bothered about improving. I live close and I really like the atmosphere in the evening at Santana row and really want it to be a good place to go have dinner. I've tried the restaurants lots of times and year after year they always fall short.. so I've stopped going now, I just don't want to spend $150 on a bad dinner.

San Jose's answer to Rodeo Drive

By James G |

I have dined at seven different restaurants at Santana Row, gone to the movies, shopped at many of the stores, and have had friends stay at the elegant hotel located there. Parking can be an issue of weekend evenings but there is valet parking. We often go to The Yard House for happy hour eats and I always check out the Tesla cars. My wife and I go there at least once a month.

Cool place

By Phi Somchai |

This is a very posh shopping area with many signature shops. The streets are very clean and nicely decorated.

There are many chic dining outlets here.

Nice place to walk around and shop

By Cheryl S |

We enjoyed the day, but parking was at a premium. It took several trips around the parking garage before we found a space. This was on a Saturday afternoon, so maybe if we had gone earlier it would have been better. There are many high-end stores, but we did find some needed items at The Container Store.

A little European town in San Jose

By graceliujoy |

It's definitely a nice spot to chill, grab a glass of wine and relax! Walking around and doing some shopping is also an option there!

Shopping

By JillP1000 |

Great restaurants, shopping and people watching!!! It's a lot of fun to just walk around and window shop!

Outdoor shopping at its finest

By Alan D |

Beautiful outdoor shopping mall with shops, restaurants, and coffee shops. My favorite is Cocola Bakery for their amazing customer service, fresh coffee, delicious baked goods and pastries, and amazing espresso drinks.

Parking can be challenging but just be patient. Large parking lots on either side.

Great for window shopping

By Mikemo329 |

I only go there for window shopping or to see my friends to perform live Jazz concert at their open space.

Geographically central and having quite a few luxury stores to see current fashion trend is.

Perfect place to relax, in my opinion.

Cute area

By bdw720 |

Lovely shopping area. Cute restaurants. There are electric scooters you can rent and try. I would highly recommend

Great Place to go

By Susan O |

Go there often just to people watch and get a cup of coffee. Great European feel. Good restaurants and window shopping

Great place to spend an evening

By Scott E |

An incredible variety of restaurants to please any palette but maybe not any wallet. High end shopping or browsing for a variety of products from clothes to electronics (Best Buy) to cars (Tesla). Stroll the sidewalks before and/or after your meal and enjoy the scenery.

If you love DIVERSITY ...

By REALTOROY |

The BEST place to shop, eat and PEOPLE WATCH! Such diversity in style, dress and culture(s) visit, frequent and flavor the atmosphere at Santana Row. There's always something going on Music, Dance, Performers, and a delight in eateries to choose from.
Spend and hour, spend a day and go with the SWAY of SANTANA row!

Absolutely GORGEOUS outdoor shopping area in the heart of San Jose!

By Jerry C |

Absolutely GORGEOUS outdoor shopping area in the heart of San Jose!! The shops and restaurants here are premium, quality places. The ambience is great with clean sidewalks and often live music. The weather is almost always nice and sunny, not too cold and not too hot. Great for families, couples and singles. They have a nice cinema theatre here as well. You could easily enjoy a whole day here!

Rodeo Drive of Silicon Valley

By JJerin2010 |

Santana Row is a great tourist shopping area that the locals love, too. Plenty of dining options, high end shopping with some of the usual mall stores sprinkled in.

Beautiful commercial area

By Chris B |

Just a few blocks of top brand shops and fancy restaurants. Fine decor, full of flowers and european ambience makes this place a must visit in San Jose, CA. Sundays are very active. If you are not shopping nor dining is worth walking the 3-4 blocks of Santana Row.

Awesome with the Christmas lights

By radman143 |

Love walking outside Santana Row with all the trees covered in Christmas lights. Perfect time to stroll up and down window shopping and dropping in for a drink or food at the various restaurants.

amazing mall

By Bob S |

To be honest us locals hated the place when it was going up . Now there are many shops and restaurants that are amazing. Also what I love is they have a gal that cares for the ever present landscaping and pots. It is always beautiful there. Easy to walk around and very unique shopping experience. My wife and I rarely eat out , but there are some really good shops. When you have a built in chef (me) hard to justify. Our New favorite find is Mendocino Farms. Good food and the crunch that goes on on the salads is amazing . In addition the theater there is really good and the popcorn the best. They even have a lot of events like farmers markets, cars and pastry day, and many other things. Also across the street is the Winchester house which almost makes it a 2 for 1. Many famous athletes have dwellings on the top floors so you always see interesting people.

Great shopping choices & free parking

By Timothy E |

Had a great time doing some Christmas shopping and having lunch on Santana Row. Was pleasantly surprised to find the free parking structure on Winchester Blvd.

Great outdoor shopping.

By Mary W |

Great shops and dining. Beautiful street. I ate at a really nice Irish Pub. It even has a Tesla store.

Great shopping and Foods

By josephr370 |

This is a great outdoor shopping center. They have a lot of stores to shop in and most of them are real nice. There is many types of restaurants to eat at in the center that are pretty good. It is a must location to visit.

Happy Hour

By Clarissa D |

Great spot for casual dining and HH. Parking is a challenge. Nice outdoor options for breakfast lunch and dinner.

nicest place in San Jose to walk or sit outside. Not saying too much though

By Christian F |

artificial upscale city centre with expensive shops and some good restaurants. Across from biggest and nicest mall in San Jose

A nice mall with a couple of problems

By MeAndTheLittleWoman |

Santana Row is an upscale, outdoor, mall with great shops (if you can afford them) and great restaurants. The problems I see are that parking is tough unless you pay for valet parking, and the movie theatre forces you to buy your tickets on-line.

Nice way to spend an afternoon

By jim w |

lots of nice shops and restaurants. can be crowded and hard to find a parking place....but good for people watching and window shopping .

Upscale Shopping Area

By Scm |

Santana Row is an upscale shopping area with numerous restaurants and higher-end shops. Would recommend for anyone who is very much into shopping and having a nice meal.

Felt like Barcelona!

By Rob A |

It does not seem fair to call the same all, as it feels like a city within San Jose. There is very classy shopping with million dollar Condominiums on top of the restaurants and stores. There were lots of restaurants, bars, several live bands playing and beautiful and interesting plants. We ate dinner at Maggiano's which is an Italian restaurant which was reasonably priced and excellent. We had a 2 year old in tow and she was hypnotized by all the activity, but we had to keep a very close eye on her with all the people. I highly recommend this escape to a little Barcelona type City within San Jose!

Diverse shopping and food

By namikoeshima1116 |

During the week it’s easy to find parking great neighborhood to just walk around and shop grab a bite to eat. It was a little rainy the day we that were there the Free People store had a great selection . the specialty electronics store was cool my son enjoyed that very much

Just like Disneyland - without the rides

By KKD SFO |

The streets are alive with the packs of tourists, shoppers, locals. Very high end...you can buy a Tesla or tassled loafers. Girls in the know flock to a few of salons for highlights and blow outs...very International crowd

Fun place to hang out on Friday and Saturday

By paul0ms |

Very nice area with nice bars and restaurants. Everything is quite pricey in this area so don't come here expecting cheap drinks or food. But the ambiance is very nice!

High-end Shopping n Dining

By bruce p |

This is just a high end area that has some fine dining and expensive shopping. The only mid-tier place here was the Yard House for drinks and food. Other than that it's all expensive. Parking is scarce as well. This place is only a few blocks long

Great place to visit.

By mariposa0771 |

Great area to shop and eat. Caught some live music and enjoyed a great dinner. Great place to visit and just enjoy the sights.

Fun to walk around

By Climb14ers |

Definitely high end but you can look for free. Some good places to eat. The parking is also free. Worth a visit.

Lovely place

By dahooks |

This is one of my favorite areas for lunch or dinner. There are several wonderful places to get your grub on, from steak houses to sushi. Shopping is a little pricey however you can find great deals at H&M. It's a lovely place to just stroll down the walk ways. Or you can stop for a glass of wine or frozen yogurt.

Shopping, eating, and people watching with Yogurt, wine, or dining

By gjim195 |

A great location to walk, shop, stop to people watch, buy a glass of wine, dine outdoors or indoors - selections from burgers to steak to asian, indian, mexican etc. Or just a cup of coffee.

why not just go to main st cupertino??

By eee |

Santana row is pretty overrated. Personally, Santana row just feels like some high end shopping place, some extremely pricey restaurants and some random shopping places. Main street Cupertino is better.

Great French Sidewalk Cafe

By Julius C |

Food was impeccable, along with my waitress, Kobie! She was a delight to be around. Very engaging and helpful with menu

The Rodeo Drive of San Jose

By Armen G |

Santana Row is a few blocks of expensive apartments with a variety of stores on the ground level. It has a number of clothing stores (mostly for women) from H&M to Gucci. It has a variety of restaurants including a large pizza and beer joint (the Yard House), an Italian restaurant (Maggiano's), the Left Bank French Brasseries, a popular Chinese night club (Sino), the Amber Indian restaurant, the Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse and the inexpensive healthy food purveyor (Pluto's). There is also a nice coffee and pastry shop with light meals (Cocola Bakery) plus a Starbuck's of course.

There is also a Best Buy electronics store and an Amazon book store with all the electronic gadgets that Amazon sells. Other major stores include Crate and Barrel, Anthropologie, Sephora, Z Gallerie, Tommy Bahama and Sur La Table

There is also a movie theater at the end of the street with discount tickets on Tuesdays.

Santana Row is an unusual creation in the middle of a generally dull metropolis like San Jose. For the European visitor who has seen all the major shopping and dining areas of Rome, Paris and London it may not be too interesting. But, for most Americans it might provide an interesting diversion.

Always special

By Gelysemoore |

I always visit Santana Row anytime I am in the area. The ambience is excellent and the restaurants super with a great selection. Summer evenings eating at the sidewalk cafes are lovely but it's Christmas time that everything really sparkles.

Love this outing

By Connector437886 |

My go to when I need yo feel like I am back home in Australia. I love the shopping, the people, coffee and food.

Lots of shopping and food

By legsbell |

This is a delightful outdoor shopping area with great shopping options from name brand stores to tiny boutiques. Restaurants are plentiful and there is something for everyone.

Exclusive

By Coreen A |

Santana Row is fun if you want a day of wishing or extravagant spending. There is a Tesla dealership there, need I say More? Some great restaurants and it is decorated beautifully with white lights. Very impressive at Christmas

A must see in San Jose

By kelceyryder |

Santana Row is a European style shopping area with high end stores and great restaurants. There is a hotel. There are condos. There is a movie theater. There is a great Crate and Barrel store. And it is right across the street from Valley Fair Mall which is huge and offers something for everyone. Get outside and stroll Santana Row. You will have fun and maybe enjoy a nice lunch or dinner.

An Oasis of Boutique Shopping & Dining

By CaliforniaLily |

Across from the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, Santana Row is a lively and pleasant place to grab a cocktail, eat out, and do some serious shopping or simply window shop, stroll, sip on a latte, listen to music or even sit in a new Model S at the Tesla shop.

Little Italy

By robbp560 |

Santana Row is a great place to sit and enjoy yourself on a sunny afternoon or evening dinner date. With the outdoor cafe's and palazzo feel, it reminds me of Italy.

Live the high life in San Jose

By ChrisR R |

If you're from London, then Santana Row is like Knightsbridge with sunshine and Mexican music. Dozens of designer-label stores, open-air restaurants with live music, and the super seventh floor rooftop bar on top of the swish Hotel Valencia (get there 30 mins before sunset for an amazing view with your margheritas). We spent a lot of time in the Amazon bookshop, which was packed with electronic marvels.

Great for Food and Shopping

By Judy A |

If you're in town and looking for an upscale food and shopping experience, this is it. Lots of stores from H&M to Ann Taylor and higher end with Gucci and Tesla. For food, some of the better places are Tacolicious and Pizza Antica. Stay for the evening and take in some music and dancing at El Jardin. Kids are always welcome with life size chess pieces and fun ice cream and yogurt shops. Great place to walk around and sip wine or mimosa and watch people as they go by.

Great place to walk around and shop. Food is sub par

By Eddie L |

A great concept in the middle of busy San Jose. It used to be called Town and Country shopping area, with 1 floor stores, plenty of store front parking. Now it is a upscale, busy Apartment and commercial areas. Very well maintained and pleasant. Just hard to find parking that is close by the stores you wanted to visit.
The restaurants there are on the pricey side but the food are just ok. But since it is a place to be seen, a lot of folks are willing to pay the price. But if you are foodie and know what good service is, stay away.

A little European getaway in busy town

By Meena S |

It has a European vibe and for an instance we forgot we were in the busy silicon valley. Need time to experience the real feel. Can't be rushed. Nice for coffee and pastries and snack. Very nice ambience.

fun place to walk at night

By janeyntim |

los of shopping, eating, live bands on weekends. enjoyed listening to the salsa music at the tequila bar.

Nice setting, lots of food and snack choices, ample parking spaces but the prices are premium and more.

By Izak K |

On a nice evening Santana raw makes for a great walk, we usually go there for desserts or some quick bite a lot of the places there are very crowded and noise so if you want to have a conversation this is not a good choice. Lots of high end stores for the window shoppers.

Great gathering place!

By Claudia S. |

This mall is a great place to shop, meet people for drinks and definitely eat! One of the highlights I would visit when you travel to San Jose, CA!

Come with plenty of $$$

By Andrea P |

Wide variety of stores available. Lots of high end clothing stores, but also founds some eclectic shops worth mentioning. 100% Pure has all natural skin care products and provides samples in the store for visitors to try. Wonderful scents and I loved the products that I sampled and those that I purchased. MaiDo is at the end of Santana Row and was filled with assorted gifts from Japan. Fidget cubes, stuffed animals, socks, paper, pens, toy...I was amazed at what I found in that store. There is definitely something for everyone. Sugarfina is a luxury candy store with some (not all) products for adults (made with alcohol). There is a wide variety of candies to choose from, so you can definitely find something for everyone. Throughout Santana Row there are restaurants, but I'd recommend getting there early because there were lines to be seated. Santana Row is a little pricey, so come prepared to spend.

Great place for some eats and a walk

By Jason C |

Went 2 nights in a row for dinner and drinks. Was with customers and colleagues and everyone had a great time. Plenty of great bars

Flashest part of SJ

By DAMTCOOK |

Really nice environment and would have to agree with most of the reviews given thus far. The restaurants are great and the bars pump at night.

Great place to visit

By Hikermom91 |

This area is clean and full of great stores and excellent restaurants. Many restaurants have outdoor seating and good happy hours which is great on the warm evenings. I usually go for the Avada and Sur La Table stores and to meet up with friends. Parking can get tough so go early for lunch and dinner unless you want to drive around a lot looking for a parking space.

An Enjoyable Spot

By sobaytravelguy |

Santana Row is the piazza of the South Bay, where people gather to stroll and relax. I often meet friends here for lunch or dinner, and appreciate the range of restaurant options. The Row also features a good number of shops, day spas and cinemas. It has easy access to freeways and parking isn't as bad as one would think... except on Friday or Saturday evenings!

If you are here for work, you shouldnt miss it

By tr0pic0rneta |

Great Restaurants.. and upscale shopping... also just across the street from a larger Mall.. great for thos evisiting from abroad

Great Place to walk around.

By erlyned2017 |

If you're visiting the great bay area, make this one of your stop. A great place to stay. Almost everything you can think of is at your finger tips. Shopping, dining, entertainment... You can shop until you drop or eat at one of the many restaurants. S much things to do and many choices to make. Also a walking distance to one of the best mall in the area.

For the see and be seen...

By CarlKHawaiiNei |

This is a tough one to review.

I give it a solid four stars around Christmas time. There are always nice things going on, especially great music, and the decorations are very festive. Other than that, I give it two stars. For people who live in the area (and yes, we live literally blocks away), it's not a big draw. The shops are generally overpriced, the place tends to be a chore to park at, and the management seems to cater to people with a good deal of expendable cash. The people who seem to enjoy Santana Row the most as a destination spot tend to be the younger "see and be seen" folks. It's a nice place to take friends from out of town, and those who have never visited should stop in and see it for themselves.

Bottom line, it's just not my particular cup of tea.

Small Town Shopping Experience

By sandisea63 |

Santana Row is a place where one can shop and feel like they are experiencing an old time town shopping experience. One can visit to shop or to just walk around "town." First class shopping and dining.

Nice Area

By Hanh L |

If you are in San Jose, Ca, you should stop by Santana row for lunch or dinner. Nice area, many choices of restaurants, shopping, sweet stores, cafes, bars, etc. We love this place. We come here almost every week for the last 10 years.

what a nightmare,.., a Carmel 'want to be' made by people with too much control of too much money and out of touch with a majority of the people living in the Universe,.,.,Throw Up Row

Unique setting, great use of outdoor space.

By Cyntherita |

Feels very European. Several restaurants with outdoor seating, and very nice wine bar in the center section of the main street. Great for walking and visiting. Parking abundant, at least I've never had trouble finding a spot. But I do avoid weekends. Evenings are my favorite time. Can't vouch for the shopping, too pricey for me. But window shopping is great. I highly recommend a visit, judge for yourself. I bring visitors and they love it.

Nice but pricey

By T G |

We couldn’t get in another restaurant, so we decided to come here. First off, I will give this a 3.5 stars. Their calamari is so tender, it melts in your mouth. I think they must be known for their pizza’s because almost every guest had it in their tables. I got a pasta dish an it was average compared to other Italian restaurants. The server was excellent and all the other helpers, but it still wasn’t a 4. I would go back for to try a pizza.

If you have the money.

By adamschildmeyer |

Nice little street with cool views. Very upscale. If you have the money or you like to look at expensive things go here. Many good food choices are available.

Everything

By Vinnie L |

I've gone to lunch with friends, gone on dates for dinner, saw a couple of movies at the theater and bought some wonderful clothes from the stores and the best thing is that you can walk around and not have a worry in the world.

In another world....

By Ardeen |

Santana Row was developed a few years ago and draws in many, many visitors. If you live here, going there makes you feel like you're in another country...definitely not in San Jose. High end shopping, a ton of restaurants, a lot of parking garages so walking around the complex is w/o cars. Very busy on weekends. It's across the street from the famous Winchester Mystery House and also across from a huge shopping complex called Westfield Valley Fair. One stop parking and attractions. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice place to spend an afternoon

By Bacinac |

Lots of opportunities for shopping, eating and people watching.

If you are in the South Bay on business, break away and tap your expense account for a good meal and some drinks.

It can be a little slow on weekdays but now that spring and summer are around the corner the crowds will surely get even more vibrant.

Valley Fair mall is across the street so there are even more options for all of the above —all within walking distance.

There is some construction at the mall and parking can get gnarly especially on the weekends, but if you are looking to kill some time and spend some money in the South Bay, there is hardly a better place.

Nice place to walk in the evenings

By Padmanabhan C |

Good car parking space, trendy fashion shops and range of restaurents & pubs, it is place to be if you are around San Jose. You have a nice Tesla car showroom, if you wanted to know more about elctric cars! You can easily spend your evening, have dinner and go home.

Something for everyone

By Kathryn M |

Shopping from high end to value, snacks, catch a movie, then sit down to great restaurants, stroll around and have a drink in the outside seating.

The upscale place to be seen and to shop

By lwj |

Santana Row is an outdoor shopping area with many upscale restaurants & shops. The area can also come with a hefty price tag.
It is located just across Stevens Creek from Valley Fair Shopping Center.
It is a great place for finding a unique or impressive gift. Stores range from Crate and Barrel to Tesla.....
There are several restaurants with outdoor seating and you have a wide choice of cuisines available for you to try.... from Subway to Fogo De Chau, from Mendocino Farms to Maggiano's, Pinkberry to the Yard House
There is also a multiplex movie theater located in the mall.....
At times, Santana Row can become very crowded, especially during the holidays or during the weekend... go to shop, grab a bite or just enjoy the atmosphere.

Fun to walk through, good shopping

By Mike B |

One-of-a-kind in San Jose, Santana Row is a mix of super high-end shops (the kind which are fun to pass by and look in the windows but not actually go in and buy anything) and useful stores (Best Buy, Crate and Barrel, The Container Store) along with some decent restaurants (like the Left Bank, Maggiano's, and the Veggie Grill). Decent movie theater, also. People also live there, above the street.

It's right across the street from Valley Fair, as well, for additional shopping opportunities. That makes it very handy.

Parking can be crowded - although they recently added some on the other side of Winchester. (Right by the Winchester Mystery House, if you haven't seen that yet. Good for a visit.)

Same ole stuff

By Cj B |

More headache than it is worth! Parking is a nightmare, shops and restaurants are over priced. Long waits for seating when you do want to eat. You rarely ever see anyone with shopping bags. I avoid this place the the plague!

Always a treat to visit the Row. I also perform regularly there at the Oak Tree spot.

By Z5834IOfrankd |

Great window shopping and options for lunch and dinner. Amazon is a kick to visit. If you're a prime you can easily use your p
rime in the store. The Left Band restaurant is great inside or out. You've got movies there also. Should be a great "date" option also.

Great Foods and Shopping

By Rhiz A |

Santana Row is a place you can go shopping, try different restaurants, unwind and just do people watch especially in a nice day.

Enjoying the Row

By Mary K |

This week I decided to go to Santana Row just to see the Christmas decorations without all the crowds before Christmas. I’m so glad I did bc the Row did not disappoint! The decorations were just beautiful and the giant giraffe was so awesome. What a nice experience it was!

Sun Tan Row

By SOQ2010 |

Santana Row is the happening place in silicone valley ,sanjose, which is ruined by the sight and smell of wednesday farmers market . I go their for the feel of it and ofcourse Sephora ,H&M. Parking is free and plenty of space to relax and unwind.

Shopping day!

By Norell P |

So many great shops and restaurants in such a charming neighborhood! I did not have enough time to enjoy everything! Will definitely make this a regular part of our visits to San Jose!

Great people watching!

By laurie c |

We took a short cab ride ($15) from the Fairmont to visit this area. Our driver was a wealth of information regarding the changes to the neighborhoods as we went from downtown to Santana Row. The shops are expensive, for the most part. The restaurant selection is fantastic. I read that travelers thought this was like Paris. Mais non. But it is a good place to have a meal outside, sip a mimosa, and watch happy people stroll by.

European Style

By Jeanne A |

Enjoyed our time here with all the shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the style that reminded us of Europe. There was also a car show the day we went and seeing all the cars was fun. Also a huge mall close by. So lots of shopping.

A bit of RELAXING ELEGANCE in the middle of Silicone Valley. FREE PARKING!

By Linda N |

Great shops, Tesla showroom, quiet and a bit undiscovered still - all the restaurants are wonderful. It's right by the Winchester House, with the West Valley Mall and Westfield Mall nearby. Try a sample of the champagne gummies, tea at the tearoom, watch Street entertainment, yummy gelato, and when you're tired, sit under a palm tree in a cushy overstuffed chair and ottoman. All, and mean ALL, of the restaurants are good, in every price range and genre. How can you be tired, though? It's just a few blocks of shops, with small tables from various restaurants serving great wine and great, freshly grown organic food. It's an utterly delightful calm in the middle of Silicone Valley. What a lovely place for all.

Any occasion good times

By Busy b b |

Something for everyone whether it's a beautiful hotel stay top Notch restaurants having some of the finest tequila at the outdoor Tequila Patio or sipping on your favorite wine at the outdoor Wine bar or the various little festivals they put on for different occasions you may even see a few of your favorite Bay Area sports celebrities and some of the most exotic cars in the Bay Area always definitely a spot to see and be seen

Trendy outdoor shopping area with restaurants and cafes

By zzzjad |

Santana Row is a trendy shopping area with expensive designer stores and different American and ethnic restaurants and cafes. It's a great place to visit during the day and in the evenings. There are many free parking garages. It's very busy on weekends, so allow time.

Stellar Shopping District!

By travelingCAgal |

We were staying at a nearby hotel for a few weeks for a special family occasion and spent a lot of time at this mall. It is truly one of the most beautiful malls I’ve been to in the USA. With its shopkeepers/living units on the upper stories, this mall is quite unique in its design. It reminds me a lot of Barcelona, Spain with its mosaic tile bollards at each end of the pedestrian-only portion of the pedestrian promenade which is closed to through traffic as well as the sidewalk cafes and flamenco music we heard there on our first evening there while dining which was magical! The outdoor promenade is a lovely area to stroll, hang out, shop or eat. It is landscaped beautifully with lush baskets of flowers much like the pacific northwest. There is lots of outdoor musical entertainment and it has the best vibe. At one end of the pedestrian promenade there is a large shady tree and a large wooden deck with comfy armchairs with bright orange cushions for people to sit on, have a glass of wine/beer or listen to music when entertainers are present. On one of the side streets there are beautiful colorful wooden doors which were imported from Europe across from the “Welcome to Santana Row” mural. The stores are high end variety and there is plenty of police presence in the area making one feel safe.

Vibrant Destination for Shopping, Dining, and Relaxing

By Jonathan Phan |

Santana Row truly shines during the holidays, with beautifully lit decorations and a warm, festive atmosphere. My experience last Christmas was magical—strolling through the lively streets, surrounded by dazzling lights, added a whole new charm to its already vibrant shopping and dining scene. A must-visit for anyone looking to soak in elegance and holiday spirit!

Upscale Fun

By RuNanS |

Interesting shops, interesting restaurants, nice architecture and landscaping. Even if you can't afford the tariff, it's worth a visit just to walk around.

Fun outing for couples or familys

By patricia49er |

This place has lots of restaurants and shops. It has evening concerts. Farmers markets different times of the year. Just over all lots of little things to see and do. This is a shopping are first. Most of the shops are high end, not your Walmart shopping. It also has a night life for social interacting or date night.

Fun place to hangout

By Sudarshan K |

Lot of good options to eat and drink, from burger joints to upscale restaurants. Lots of upscale retail outlets and very close to Valley Fair Mall. Tesla showroom is a plus. Ample parking.

Very nice upscale shopping center

By ksigpaul |

Nice place to live to boot. Parking seems to be a bit limited so you might have to walk a bit. They have every store you might need on the mid to higher end.

High End Shopping

By Jamie H |

High end shopping district with upscale restaurants and a movie theater. Located across the street from the Historic Winchester House.

Great food, expensive restaurants and exotic cars

By Lori S |

Santana Row is full of great places to eat, wonderful expensive shops (with a few affordable ones showing up here and there) and more exotic cars than you’ll see in most states.

As a matter of fact, Tesla has a show room in the middle of the shopping area. If you want to see this beautiful car up close and personal, here’s your chance.

On top of the stores and restaurants are some of the most expensive apartments in the Bay Area.

There’s also a fantastic tequila bar with liquors I never knew existed.

Santana Row is the Bay Area”s Rodeo Drive. A great place to walk around, window shop, and experience . . . whether you’re hungry or not.

Nice Shops and Restaurants

By Debbie A |

Santana Row is an area with many choices of shops and restaurants. We enjoyed walking the street and of course, the weather was fantastic. This is a great place to spend an afternoon.

Shopping, Sun and Santana Row

By B. Darst |

This is a great shopping and restaurant destination. Everything was open. There are places for a glass of wine or to grab a cup of coffee. The shops have something for everyone. The plants and trees are gorgeous. There are also hotels connected to this area if you want to stay. This area is well worth a visit.

We visited this place and walked around shopping here in San Jose the first time for couples hours on Saturday am. It is a nice and recently new for the young people to shop and eat like Santa Monica promenade. It is nice but nothing special...

Just a glorified lane

By Sanjeev Manurkar |

Walked down the lane. Couple of restaurants, mall and office space is what makes this place. Yes it is high end place where things are expensive. But a good place to spend some quality time.

Great place for evening walk and dinner

By Ankur G |

Lovely street with ample of free parking, restaurants of almost every cuisine, dessert shops, coffee bars, bar, etc. One of the best places with number of fine dinning options. You will not regret visiting this place. I love Yard house, Pizza Antica and Maggiano's.

Good to spend an evening there

By LoreG_G7 |

Well, there is not much to do around san jose by night. And this is a nice exception. Good restaurants and shops and good atmosphere.

Fun, high energy area

By Norman R |

Stroll down Santana Row. Lots of great restaurants to chose from including outdoor seating; great shopping; lots of convenient parking; oftentimes outdoor music; movie theater at one end.

Gorgeous spot in San Jose

By Jason D |

It's a nice place. Free parking, free entry. Lots of relatively expensive restaurants, lots of fashionable clothes stores, a big middle part to sit in, take pictures at, etc. It also has its fair share of almost normally priced food places (like The Counter and a few places next to it). PS The Counter has the best hamburgers ever. Been there a million times.

All in all, it's a very picturesque place to spend an afternoon or evening at.

A pleasant are for a walk

By LRLUCAS |

A nice combination of good brand stores, nice bistros and restaurants. It is a place to be with your family. Excellent atmosphere and very easy to find a parking spot.

Santana Row - a wonderful place to walk and shop

By TMC408 |

This outdoor shopping + residential complex provides a taste of walking through European streets, looking at fine goods, enjoying fine foods, and sitting to enjoy the atmosphere. With the great weather of San Jose, California, this mall delivers a variety of restaurants from gourmet burgers to high quality steaks and a variety of foreign flavors. Take a look at the new Tesla models, show at H&M, or buy the latest Amazon bestselling books at the new Amazon bookstore.

Credit card shoppers' delight

By Sherry R |

I was hoping that there were less upscale brand name stores and more CA or local shops, but I was disappointed. It IS an outdoor mall/shopping center that is pleasant.

Sun Tan Row

By SOQ2010 |

Best place to visit once you are on holiday , relaxing atmosphere , beautiful California weather and alot of cafes . I personally come here to visit H&M and Sephora.

Almost like shopping on 5th Avenue

By RocketCitySue |

Santana Row is an eclectic mix of designer and moderately priced stores. There is a store for almost every taste including a Tesla showroom, Gucci, Paper Source and H&M. There are also several high end restaurants. Parking is ample and free. Off the main Row are many other restaurants and shops so make sure you don’t forget to veer off the main drag.

Winchester House and a large mall including a movie theatre are across the road from Santana Row.

Urban and outdoor lifestyle

By M A |

I like to go here to relax, eating, sightseeing and shopping. outdoor and stylish mall.
a lot food varieties from light snacks to heavy pasta steak resto. recommended for date night and casual meet

Amazing

By Bryan Z |

There was very little parking space and the place was crowded.n This place has lots of good food. It is good foood, again.

Great Place to Relax

By Wally9bbq |

Great Restaurants and Shops. Good environment to relax.. have some good food wine and relax. Great for dogs. Unique Shops. Parking can be challenging.

Nice to sit outside and eat.

By peter m |

The main street has become a large food court. There is a wide range of restaurants and food to choice from. They are adding more parking up front but removing the open parking lot at the north end. In warm weather nice to sit outside of the Left Bank restaurant and people watch. For large amount of good Italian food is Maggianos. Because of parking and traffic, prefer to go to other places.

Beautiful and well-kept, open mall

By Mediatrice |

Opposite the Winchester Mystery House is Santan Row. An open, partially covered mall. Beautifully laid out, lots of pretty, well-kept plants, the trees wrapped in fairy lights, comfortable seating everywhere, including some that aren't part of a café or restaurant, but are just there so you can sit down, meet, chat, spend your lunch break or watch.
Lots of slightly more luxurious shops, cafés and restaurants.
Toilets are roughly in the middle, set back at the level of the Hotel Valencia.

Always fun

By Mary_SanJose_CA |

I love going to Santana row specially with friends. We have tried several restaurants over there all of them excellent. Shopping is fun too. All the designer boutique’s and shops for home decors are amazing.

Great restaurants and shops on this street. There is a parking garage there but we chose to take an uber from our hotel. Fun place to people watch as well!

We were shopping all afternoon in this nice neighborhood.
Very goog shopping center

Pretty but monotonous

By Mrs. L |

The area is incredibly clean and well kept with lots of high end shopping like Tesla and Gucci but there needs to be more restaurants! But the shopping is excellent

Happening Santana Row

By Amrita P |

It is a high end street with branded showrooms, Tesla motors showroom is located there. In the central part of road restaurants are overflowing with visitors for the good ambience and music. Fine dining places. Saw beer served in very big unique tumblers/glasses. Nice place for high end shopping

Great diversity of shops

By Reflections Elegante Gallery |

Beautiful buldings, easy parking. Lots of restaurants with a variety of wonderful food. Many great outdoor entertainment.

Pleasant Place to Stroll

By Anita T |

Santana Row is a pleasant place to stroll and perhaps grab an expensive bite. The stores are mostly high end uninteresting and can be found at almost any high end mall.

Chic and pricey, but a place to see and be seen

By Sharyn D |

Santana Row is home to many of the most upscale stores on the West Coast and maybe the country. It resembles retail areas in Europe's most fashionable cities, in that the stores are on the lower levels with residences above. The streets are lined with many restaurants with outdoor seating and shady trees, so it is fun to window shop and then enjoy a glass of your favorite refresher and maybe a bite to eat and watch the people as they walk by. Free parking in multiple structures and lots of diversity in the offerings make this fun place to go. It can be uber-busy and bustling on the weekends, though.

Fun place to explore

By Helen C |

We went to Santana Row for the first time. We had dinner at Maggiano's and it was fabulous. We then went shopping and this shopping center has so much to offer. We had a great time! Would recommend this place for a fun time either day or night.

Nice shopping and restaurant area

By sctraveler15 |

My husband and I found this shopping and restaurant area on our first night of a week-long business trip to San Jose, and I am so glad we did. Plenty of free parking. We came every evening to eat dinner, walk around, and people watch. We enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere and fun activities, such as the farmers market on Wednesday.

Posh

By Hannahjones0000 |

Definitely one of the most upscale parts of San Jose, not a restaurant I have tried there has yet to be disappointing. However, it was very difficult to find something I expensive to do/eat there.

Lovely street

By IcyApple |

A lovely street I could spend hours on, sitting in a cafe' and sipping a cup go coffee and watch the traffic going about. Plenty of free parking.

Great for strolling, shopping, eating.

By ChiliGirl |

Beautifully designed outdoor "mall" offers a lot, and you don't even need to shop. Good variety of restaurants and lots of parking, even a movie theater, make Santana Row a must-visit location.

Our local place for shopping, lunch, and to hang out on a nice day

By Beth S |

Santana Row is a higher end shopping and dining area conveniently located in San Jose on Stevens Creek blvd several blocks from Highway 280, and definitely worth a visit.

As “locals” we frequent The Row for shopping but also as a pleasant place to dine and spend time together. There are many restaurants, from simple salads/ sandwiches to special occasion, a delectable patisserie, and other dessert cafes and coffee and tea shops.

At almost any time of the day and during all seasons, there are people dining outside, and the atmosphere is festive. On weekend nights it’s a festively crowded scene, and very International. People of all ages, cultures, and nationalities meet families and friends to relax and enjoy visiting together, or for drinks, dinner, and a movie. There are multiple spas and salons, so it’s a great destination for girls day out too.

There are many shopping opportunities, both well-known brands and small individual boutiques. My own favorite of all the shops is Makers Market, a well curated and broad collection of American craft goods, mostly from the Bay Area. It you are looking for, something special as a gift or souvenir you won’t find anywhere else, this gallery is the place. The gorgeous home and serving items make very special wedding gifts, scented candles, soaps, and lotions small heavenly, leather and canvas bags useful and beautifully made, and there is a variety of fantastic jewelry from boho to fine, to suit every taste.

Highly recommend a trip to Santana Row. Also is a lovely hotel there so if visiting you could make Santana Row your home base for,a trip,to the Silicon Valley, to if a local plan a romantic weekend.

Very nice ambience
Have delicious Italian food
The Mario’s (?) special is a bargain: 2 salads or starter plus two pastas to dine in plus two pastas to go for about $43(?)
Great wine e.g., Barbera
Excellent food service by Felipe and manager Octavio

Dinner and shopping

By Daphna W |

Santana Row is a great place for foodies and shoppers alike. My favorites are Pizza Antica, Mendocino Farms, Maggianos, Straits, and Amber India. Santana Row is changing all of the time. It’s great to stroll through and window shop as well.

fun to walk around

By DJG |

it has the feel of a European Square - lots of people, restaurants, sidewalk-dining, movie theatre, gigantic chess game, wine bar, farmer's market, etc.

Upscale smallish shopping center

By krystynalett |

Restaurants are great.
Movie theater is very good.
Close to a larger Valley Fair Shopping Mall.
Wonderful at Christmas time.
Often organizations have little performances/shows in the central plaza.

Great afternoon for a massage and a cocktail!

By skennedy631 |

Spent a lovely afternoon at Burke Williams spa followed by a delicious cocktail and pizza. Walked around and shopped a bit

A pleasant summer evening

By AnotherGloriousMorning |

I went to Maggiano’s for dinner. The food was delicious. The service was professional. I am definitely going to come back. I absolutely loved that after dinner I was able to take a walk around Santa Row. There is so many things to see and do there.

Often too busy, but everything IS there!

By CTPreview |

This can be good or annoying. Depends on how busy it is. If you find a quieter day, its a good place to see many of the high end stores, one after another. But at busy times and especially in the holiday season this place can be just too crazy for me

Never again

By Laura G |

There for an hour. Spent $200 on food and one purchase. Lost $12k in luggage. Our hotel room wasn’t ready and my kids were starving so we stopped here. Parked in a well lit area, tons of traffic- like nonstop flow people looking for spots in the Olin garage. We were gone maybe 90 minutes and found our back window busted out and everything gone.

It boggles the mind that no one saw. And I’m positive that people did and just didn’t care. Maybe that’s just the “see and be seen” crowd.

Am my daughter was standing next to our vehicle, glass everywhere and a very obvious back window busted out, crying for her stuffed tiger that she’s had since birth (which was in her stolen backpack), Me was sobbing for/with her after being told by San Jose police that our loss wasn’t worth their time (but I could file an online report- I guess on my now missing laptop?) and my husband waiting for security, exactly FOUR cars pulled up and the drivers asked me if we were leaving so they could have our parking spot. No “you guys okay” or anything just “give us your spot- our need for happy hour is more important than your missing articles.”

Turned me off for not only Santana Row, but San Jose and the Bay Area in general. There’s other regions of the country to visit and spend my money on.

Well Planned Residential and Commercial Complex of San Jose

By krishna292 |

One Sunday we visited this beautiful market area of San Jose with my son and his wife during our recent sojourn in USA. First we took lunch at Amber restaurant, a popular Indian restaurant in this complex and then walked around the area. The best part of the complex is a strip of garden intersecting the road with beautiful shops, boutiques, hotel and restaurants, spa centers etc on both sides of the road. Probably because of Sunday, it was not very crowded and we could walk around with our 9 month old grandson in the stroller. I very much liked the place and.It is really a good place to relax on a holiday with much to offer like parks, gardens and shops selling variet of items, such as home appliances, ready made dresses etc. The complex is reported to have been developed during last 20 years and is named after Frank M Santana who served in Planning Commission in 1950s when it was conceived.

very interesting place. had a farmers market with some great music.

By William O |

there was lots and lots of great farmers market vegetables and some of the booths had some very delish foods. the music was super. all the people we saw there were very friendly.

Best Hangout Place in San Jose

By Tennisbums |

My daughter and I love all the small shops and restaurants in Santana Row. It is a lovely place to visit even if you just want to just walk around. There are many restaurants to choose from. We love to seat outdoor and have some tapas and just people watch. The apartments or condos above the merchants seem very posh and beautiful.
Nearby is the Winchester Mystery House as well. If you want to do some serious shopping, the Westfield mall is within walking distance...

Girls Day out

By Jean H |

Had a fun day our with girlfriends, took in a movie, had a wonderful lunch, and browsed the shops for another couple of hours. Literally spent the day there, filled with laughter, great food, and fun people watching as we strolled the shops. Mid week was easy to park and we had great service everywhere.

Best place in San Jose

Lovely to Walk Around

By VNYNY |

Beautiful outdoor shopping/dining area in San Jose. Mainly high end stores, but not all. Sitting area with a giant chess set to sit and relax. A great place to walk around and enjoy the lovely weather. Right near a great movie theater and the Winchester Mansion. Plenty of free parking in the parking garage.

Good tourist destination

By Margaret S |

This is the closest to a vibrant tourist activity that San Jose has to offer. There are lots of restaurants and high end stores. Nicely laid out and a pleasant stroll. Enjoy a window into luxury!

Nice Shopping Trip to Eli Thomas for Men at Santana Row

By mini |

My husband likes St. Croix short sleeved sweater tops. They were running a special sale. We went shopping at Eli Thomas for Men at Santana Row and had a successful shopping trip. The sales staff there is wonderful and have been there for man years.
The store is very nice.

There are many stores, cafes, restaurants, a hotel, and a movie theater at Santana Row. So its a fun place we visited as well after our shopping at Eli Thomas.

We stopped by this area looking for a place to eat. There are plenty of places and a great variety. It also has a great parking structure.

Vacation in san jose

By kamran i |

We visited san jose during our extensive trip to th US.We found Santana Row as on of the amazing places in san Jose. The place has serene atmosphere and lovely shops and restaurants. I would love to go back next year.

Kind of old and tired

By snookie13 |

When this first opened it was kind of fun but by now it is basically visited by older men and young Asian women looking for a sugar daddy. It's difficult to find parking in the summer especially and the people watching is marginally good. Stores are geared towards old men and young Asian women. Plutos restaurant is pretty good however.

Entertaining visitors from Asia

By LydiaK313 |

A full day of activity which included shopping and dining. It was an easy way to show foreign guests around to experience a variety of American culture. Our guests enjoyed the shops and restaurants and festive holiday atmosphere.

Wow! Just Wow!

By Tinkerbell1391 |

Our Hotel was really close to here so we went here several times. I loved the open "mall" and beautiful grounds. It is very well maintained with a lot of great restaurants and shops! I wish there was one of these close to us. We have nothing like this. It is a great place for all ages!

Great shopping and food

Beautiful shopping area. Bars, restaurants and stores. The landscaping is really pretty. Parking is not that bad.

Shopping and Resturants

By marilynw897 |

Great traffic free stroll with many great resturants and specialty shops. Outdoor music in late afternoon and evenings. Fun to sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine.

Very European -just out for pasagiata--the evening walk

By Marie A |

This is a place to go to for high end shopping, dinning and an evening stroll. You will find many dinning options from burger bar to white table cloth dinners. The choice is yours. It is place to see and be seen. People watching is always fun. Window shopping (sometimes buying) is a real treat. You feel as if you have been transported to a small European city not the heart of Silicon Valley.

Santana Row is like a part of a European city transplanted to San Jose. There are fancy stores and gourmet restaurants.

By Gene K |

Highly recommended for nice restaurants and high end shopping. Easy parking and located centrally in San Jose. There is a fancy hotel and movie theaters.

Street side storefronts, outdoor shopping venue

By Jill D |

Mixed upscale outdoor shopping area with clothing stores and restaurants. Storefronts are street side with private residences above. Good mix of clothing stores, however, no multiple big anchor stores as is typical for a mall. No play area for kids. Nestled in the center section is a wine bar as well as a tequila bar. Ample free parking in the parking garage.

Fun Time on Santana Row

By mini |

We had a lovely time at Santana Row. We went to dinner at Maggiano's and sat on the patio Some (not all) of the businesses were open. It was a pleasant summer night.

Classy & Cool

By FrequentFlier668444 |

Pleasantly surprised when I discovered SANTANA Row on a visit to San Jose. The place has a nice vibe to it. It's ultra-clean and well laid-out in a design reminiscent of National Harbor in Maryland. Solid collage of restaurants and mid to high-ends shops. Could do with a few parks and open spaces to create more balance and offer more recreation especially for kids and the elderly.

Wow! Lots of fun!

By Kelly S |

Santana Row is a must see. There are tons of stores and places to eat. There was outdoor seating at a lot of the eateries. It was all lit up and was very lively.

Great place!

By Kathleen A |

Great people watching, shopping, restaurants and nightlife. Energetic and a fun destination. Enjoy a movie, stroll the picturesque streets & plant's. Love Santana Row! Parking can be a challenge during evening hours.

Busy Tourist Spot

By S B |

Lots of restaurants and upscale shopping. Mixed use buildings so lots of families and dog walkers. Seems safe to walk around at night. Movie theater close by. Winchester Mystery House is a few minutes walk away. Stay at the Valencia Hotel and you won't need a rental car. Everything is within walking distance.

Very nice promenade with high end shops and restaurants

By Michael K |

We came here for dinner and strolled around the place afterwards. The shops were closed for the evening but the restaurants were filled with people, even on a Tuesday evening. There was an outdoor restaurant with a live band playing and the whole place looked festive.

Chique shopping and dining

By Henri D |

Santana Row is one of the "high street" locations in the bay area. Located a couple of miles from downtown San Jose and next to the Westfield Mall. Santana Row provides a Mediterranean atmosphere of A-brand stores and nice bars and restaurants. Stroll along the streets and visits the shops, have a (real good ) coffee in one of the bars or start staring at the latest Tesla's (dealer shop present on Santana Row).
Recommended time to visit: end afternoon-evening

Window Shoppers Delight!

By khlebica |

My husband and I had a wonderful evening after dinner walking in and out of the local boutiques and windowing shopping at the more couture stores. Beautifully designed shopping streets.

Small shop and restaurant row.

By Trendy_Explorer |

Quaint town shopping and restaurant row. Popular by locals on weekends with outdoor spaces, music and events. Definately go for a quick stoll and enjoy. Sometime early morning there are community (local) events like a car display, etc.

So much there there!

By Nancy P |

My family and I love to go to Santana Row! There are many choices in eateries that every palate should be satisfied! Well, not if one is looking for a McDonald's. Sorry, that isn't there. But you CAN get a fabulous burger at The Counter! This is a great place to meet someone for lunch, a drink, dinner, dessert. And, to do some shopping. Or just to sit around and visit or people watch. there is a nice area with chairs and tables and a big chess board with chess pieces for play. Young adults love this place for the night life. Great place! Oh and there is parking in the garage under.

Amazing Street!

By Sebastian A |

I visited Santana Rowl first time and it was very relaxed with not so much people so the stores wasn't full up with people. I found all the stores I was looking for also some exklusiv stores I wasn't focused and I was really surprised. Everything was amazing and I'm really happy to visited Santana Row

Great restaurants and window shopping

By ErynB |

There are some great restaurants here, you can usually find something everyone will like. The shopping is good, and the window shopping is fun if you're not looking to drop a ton of cash. Dogs are welcome at most restaurants, as most places have outdoor seating

A bit Europe Like

By singhalanju |

It’s a beautiful row which looks like a European area. There are lots of awesome eateries . I love to eat at veggie grill which serves only vegetarian. Pinkberry serves delicious yoghurts and there is a square in front of it where one can sit and enjoy the beautiful day.

There are all big brands to shop from which are expensive.

The view of this row is beautiful. For me it’s a must visit place when I am in San Jose.

Very Nice

By Virginia V |

Felt like we were in a European town. Even though it was extremely hot it was nice to sit outside in one of the outdoor restaurants.

Upscale shopping and dining area

By Traveller2010NYC |

Attractive shopping and dining area with convenient nearby parking and a movie theater. Most of the restaurants were too loud for my taste, but I enjoyed window shopping. One of the Mexican restaurants was hosting a live mariachi band outdoors when I visited. Seems extremely safe, although somewhat sterile.

Always a Delight - Santana Row

By mini |

I love to walk and enjoy Santana Row. I love to shop; I like the outdoor areas; the cafe is nice. Today I sat in the courtyard by the fountains at the hotel. Its such a great way to get peace of mind and enjoy time outdoors. Santana Row has numerous stores, cafes, as well as special events. The two coming up now are Halloween and in November Christmas tree lighting.

Great shopping

There is a nice coffee shop/bakery and other restaurants to dine and people watch.

Exciting Upscale Shopping and Dining Experiences

By Michael M |

Five of us had lunch and spent a couple of hours shopping and exploring Santana Row. What a clean and safe experience! We did nor experience the panhandlers that are now so,prevalent all over San Jose. We all felt safe. Security personnel were present.

Another upscale shopping area. . . . .

By OregonExplorers4 |

Yes, there are lovely, upscale shops in this shopping district, and it is beautiful to see and walk around. Parking can be found in a nearby lot, since the curbside parking is non-existent.

We ended up just driving "through", and looking as we drove by. Think this would be a lovely place to "sit and people watch."

Santana Row Good for Shopping

By Tylese |

Had a lot of fun walking around and window shopping. We had lunch and people watched for a bit as well. Overall I’d recommend!

One of the crown jewels of San Jose!

By Luong D |

Santana Row is a MUST STOP for both tourists and locals. THINK: high-end restaurants, boutique shops, entertainment, parks and cinemas all located in one giant spot!

Just book a local AirBnB, VRBO or Booking.com stay nearby and walk over to have the best time of your life. You can spend the whole week there and still not experience enough. Truly a blessing for San Jose!

Great shopping and restaurants - beautifully landscaped

By Ambarrett |

Santana Row is a great place to stroll, shop and eat. A variety of shops both high end and reasonable- so something for everyone. The Cinema is also a great place to catch a movie... reclining seats which can be heated!

Across the street from Valley Fair Mall

By charlesholowell |

Has some big box like the container store and best buy. night life is great shops, eats, and drinks upscale local vibe

Nice place to shop and eat (expensive $$$$)

By ggarciao2001 |

You can walk and see a lot of high quality shops and restaurants, the old mexican style mix with modern european style.

Great place to stay , eat and shop!

By COB |

Love this location between the airport and Santa Clara where we were attending a game. Restaurants are quite varied. Loved the Wine Bar. Enjoyed walking each morning even before shops had opened

Pleasant Shopping and Dining Experience

By Susan A |

Santana Row is a great place to shop and dine in one location. There are a variety of stores from Best Buy to clothing to spa and wellness. And plenty of restaurants. There is something here for everyone. I feel this is an environment that is best for teens and adults. As with many stores and restaurants it is kid friendly but not an optimal place. They do have an area for kids. There is plenty of parking. There is also a movie theatre. The area is across from Valley Fair and is like a big strip mall with housing above the stores. I think you need to have money to visit and truly enjoy the stores and restaurants. You can definitely walk the whole area. Nice modern buildings and landscaping. Worth a visit.

Best People Watching Venue!

By Stratus2013 |

If you enjoy sitting in an outdoor cafe' sipping wine or an espresso and mussing on the pedestrian traffic, this is the place. This venue attracts a wide variety of international travelers because of it's boutique hotels and is also home for the many upscale residents. It is also a destination for the locals because of the great restaurants and shopping. You can see a wide variety of people and dogs enjoying a stroll along the promenade. It is especially lively in the evenings and weekends with live music and special events. And if you love Pink Berry froyo, it is one of the only places in San Jose to get it!

A Pricy and Popular place to shop and eat

By Johnh S |

My wife surprised me by wanting to spend about 30 minutes at the Tesla dealership. I think she is in love with the Model S. I prefer the SUV. We walked up and down both sides of the street enjoying watching the people dressed from very casual to very formal.

Strolling down shopping lane

By S L |

Great place to spend a lazy afternoon strolling, shopping or just relishing some 'delish' cuisine on some outdoor cafe.

All major retail stores like Anthropologie, Tommy Bahamas, Marine, Donald Pilner to name a few.

Great place for a nice evening walk or for coffee with friends.

By izakkapi |

This place is nice and has plenty of parking there are many restaurants and bars but all are on the expensive side.

If you park in the lot don’t leave around 4:30

By Tylersmommy |

Santana Row is a great place to shop. I love the shops and eateries. There’s a wonderful positive vibe, maybe because so many people bring their dogs to shop with them. Dogs are welcomed everywhere. The landscape is beautiful, mostly potted plant arrangements, side walks. It’s a pleasant way to spend an afternoon.

My only warning: be careful what time you leave. It takes forever to get out of the parking lot. (I’m talking close to an hour)

Sip and Stroll Santana Row

By Majestic222 |

We were there on a weekend and they have a great sip and stroll program where you can visit all the stores and restaurants in the area.

Good shopping

By Sailaja K |

They have some good clothing shops and home decor shops. The ambience is very comfortable. Parking may be a pain on some days. One of the must visit places in this area.

Good shopping

By Elena J |

Good shopping mall with lots of shops and restaurants. Easy to spend a lot of time since there is many shops to choose from. Music that is played here is also good.

Santana Row

By Yolanda1953 |

A wonderful row of stores and restaurants. Visited by day and night. Christmas lights were awesome! Carolers singing in the street added a special Noel glow. Had so much fun!

Nice visit, shopping

By jennifer m |

Neat place to visit, lots of shops and things to look at, places to eat and drink. After hours more for adults. Upscale shopping. Free parking

Totally artificial but nice all the sme

By munsonwork |

I go there with my wife to get our hair cut and to shop for fun things at Maido (Japanese art supplies). We also sometimes go to see a film there and do some people watching. It is an "artificial city" so to speak. But it can also be a fun place. Lots of trendy shops too. The one we liked best, which sold wonderful clothes in Merino wool, just closed up and became an online business only. Sad!

Hip little oasis

By Letterato |

I was in so on business and my friends suggested that I stead if staying in the city proper, that I book a hotel in Santana Row. That turned out to be a great decision. This little area has everything you'd want, all in a three block area. Everything from restaurants to great outdoor bars to night life, right outside of the Valencia hotel. I'll be back in the SJ area later this year and this is where I'm staying.

Visiting relatives

By M0t0man |

High end shops great walking and browsing. Mall across the street so convenient shopping for everyone. Outdoor cafe type eating on the row

Varriety of shops and restaurants that worth the time

By Tu P |

I love to shop at this place. There are several shops and restaurants Santana Row that my friends and I like to shop, eat and hang out with. I like the merchandise, the decoration and the food here.

Window shop or buy

By tano14130831 |

Santana Row is so fun for an afternoon of outdoor shopping and browsing. Most stores are high-end but there are enough reasonably-priced stores that you don’t have to just admire from the windows. In this trip, we discovered that you can walk across the street to Westfield Valley Fair Mall to enjoy an even greater variety of stores and eateries that will fit any budget. Santana Row has a similar look and feel of Florence, Italy with its boutiques and alfresco dining surrounded by beautiful architecture and well-manicured plants and fountains. Parking is plentiful and convenient.

Average, one time experience

By delli_traveler |

Nice open hi-street experience, but nothing outstanding. With Westfair across the road, the boutique show rooms &eating joints seems super pricey.

Beautiful stroll

By LRM321 |

Santana Row is perfect when you want a scenic view of San Jose to eat, browse and shop. Shops range fro bookstores, cafe’s and a nearby mall. There’s beautiful scenery during your stroll.

Cool place

By majdzianka |

It’s a great alternative to a mall. Good variety of shops, coffee shops and restaurants. During Christmas time it was nicely decorated.

Santana Row is on a Row!

By photograher |

We are first time visitors to Santana Row and found the environment quite classy. High end shops; from clothing, book stores, to eateries, seem to attract a wide clientele. Many of the shops are quite upscale and very pleasant to stroll through. Another nice thing about Santana Row is that there are plenty of free parking, unlike other areas like San Francisco, where it can cost a small fortune just to park. Save money on parking, and more money to spend at its many wonderful stores.

Shopping & Dining at one Shot!

By Cshastry2 |

Santana Row’ close to Googleplex. Interesting! People walk in here with their pets to shop... Santana Row offers a mix of brand name shops, local boutiques, twenty restaurants, nine spas and salons, CineArts movie theatre, and the boutique hotel Hotel Valencia. It closes at 1:00am. We munched on our choicest dishes viz., cookies, ice creams, candies, veggie grill, popcorn, cooked corn & coffee. Took a lot of snaps too. We were keenly looking at Tesla electric cars… Designs, models, chargers, concepts all along! In future just like our #Gas stations#; we are bound to have #Charging Stations#... Way to go!

HIGH END ALL THE WAY

By dlc398 |

The eclectic nature of Santana Row is very appealing. You will find dozens of different upscale food establishments and an impressive amount of high end retailers. These streets have something for everyone from a small play area for children, various shops offering bowls of fresh water for dog owners and shaded or sunny seating areas when you need to get off your feet. Just remember to bring your American Express and Platinum cards because you will need to be prepared for the very expensive super cute items you'll be sure to find. On the plus side you have a couple of free parking garages to choose from on site.

Great way to meet and enjoy time with friends

By charmtheduck |

I always go to Santana row if I have to meet my friends. There are different restaurants you can pick that offer happy hour for after work distress therapy. On good weather days, you can sit outside and people watch. Parking is adequate too.

What happened to the Chess at Chess Plaza?!

By Giosvigor |

I went there yesterday and was disappointed not to find any chess at Chess Plaza now. It looks like they replaced that invaluable space/park for kids with more outdoor portable bars! The outrage! It's time to bring it back by popular demand! I recommend we all call Santa Row and keep the pressure up to bring back chess to Chess Plaza: CONTACT 408.551.4611 | concierge@santanarow.com

Fashionable and Energetic

By Ironman |

Amazing place. Very lively. It has got most brands for shopping. It's has got outdoor sitting restaurants. It's also got an outdoor bar that opens at night. Good for a date. It lights up during Thanksgiving and Christmas and there's decoration throughout the street. Lots of free parking available.

Love the Atmosphere

By 07Nancy |

Relaxing and causal atmospherel. Perfecr place to meet friends for shopping and lunch! Great place to take an evening stroll and have desert.

People Watching Fun

By Sjsubabe |

Stroll the streets of Santana Row admiring both the people and the products. High end fashions, food and fun can be had here but there are lots of regular prices places to shop too. I favor Z Gallery, a decorating store that features great prices on prints, pictures and pillows. In fact, I furnished my vacation home with the prints from there. Lots of places to eat and chill. My 86 year old aunt's favorite place to visit in San Jose.

Had a nice lunch.

By designbytheyard |

This seems to be a new area that isn't done and they are still building. Restaurants and small shops to wander in seem like this will be a destination spot.

A night walk in beautiful Santana Raw

By Daniel Bilsky |

This time of year Santana Raw is special ‼️
The holidays decorations are awesome, they add to the shopping and excellent restaurants atmosphere. I highly recommend a walk in the plaza to see some of the figures on top of the stores (see my photos).
The parking is easy and all the area is full of very interesting places and people.

A row of high end stores in a fake european atmosphere

By Claire B |

Some of the shops are so high end that I do not even bother go in. Lots of fabulous restaurants and movie theaters. A good place to take a date or go bar hopping.

Nice outdoor shopping

By Yanti D |

It’s really nice outdoor shopping area like in Europe; to hang out, stroll, do window shopping in the afternoon and weekday, just don’t go there on weekend coz the traffic can be nightmare including to get in and out and to freeway. It has various shopping place, restaurants, cafe, spas etc. It has hotel too and restaurants turned into a disco place @ nite.

SR - eating and drinking

By bbmares3 |

Santana Row is a great place to have a couple of brews and people watch! A place to go to be SEEN.... Fun bars with some live music every now and then. Food is good to excellent depending on the cuisine you choose.
EXPENSIVE....drinks or dinner. BE prepared to open that wallet!

Several very high end shops are also there = $$$$

Silicon Valley's Version of Rodeo Drive

By dolphinesgonzales |

There are upscale shops to shop at. There are also great places to eat at where you can fulfill your hunger. It looks high end there.

San Suburb

By JG-ThePresent |

On a quick business trip, we had a few hours waiting on our constituent's availability. Did a quick search to find the best way to experience the authentic culture. A few chats with locals, and we arrived at Santana Row. Slightly upscale depending on your travels. Great way to relax and immerse with the community. Very diverse. You can roam around in high fashion boutique's to local eateries. Not at all pretentious. Seems most locals go here to relax. Not the typical uptight vibes you might experience in such a nice setting. San Jose is relatively quint in comparison to the rest of California. This is an Apex.

Santana Row is Quaint and Enjoyable for All

By JamesZoland |

One of the touristy need to do spot in San Jose, beautiful stores (mostly high end) and interesting people. Well worth a walk down in the daytime and in the evening.

In all honestly it's also hard to avoid as a local. The city keeps the street and sidewalk extremely clean, such a refresher compared to NYC and SF. Please also take note of the gorgeously manicured landscaped sidewalk planters (in the walking paths) all kinds of different plants flowers decor. I am always impressed!!!

Great customer service rep

By Alex S |

Although they were running behind on reservations, Moses stepped in to take good care of us once we got seated. Our server Kimberley was also very polite and accommodating. Thanks for helping us celebrate our birthdays and making up for the delayed seating.

A good place to window shop

By Melody E |

This was nothing special, but it made for a nice walk while looking in the windows of the high end stores.

Great place to stroll

By Yelp R |

Great place to walk around. High-end, classy district filled with nice restaurants and classy ambiance. Perfect, because it's just across The Valley Fair Mall.

Shopping spree

By tupidumont |

Great selection of quality products and services. Worthwhile checking, specially around holidays or year round

Nice Concept

By sorabh |

Santana Row offers a mix of brand name shops, local boutiques, twenty restaurants, spas and salons, CineArts movie theatre. Nice place to walk around with number of eating Atmosphere is great and so is the concept. Interesting place to spend quality time

Great hangout place.

By swamiash |

This is beautiful during the holidays with all the lights and plenty of place for kids to runaround. Summer is fun too with the outdoor spaces and music. Great spot all year round. Restaurants tend to be pricier unless you grab something in the fast food areas and picnic on the grass.

A hangout evening

By bipsav |

A good hangout place for the young and old alike with a slew of high end designer boutiquea and eateries, pubs and restaurants. The walk is a pleasant one pleasant after 8pm. One of the biggest Macy's stores is coming up right adjacent to the place.

Great food & ambience

By isalondon2016 |

Set in an old house, refurbished in a cool modern way yet warm and fun.
Food and service were great, background music too - no “charanga” thank god!
Will be back often.

My friend and I have to observe different dietary restrictions and the staff and chef couldn’t be more accommodating.

Focaccia is delicious and quite generous, grilled seabass and veggies were delicious and so was my friend’s pasta in a cream sauce!

A place of wealth

By Alejandro Fiacro |

If you’re looking to spend a lot on things and want high end brands, Santana row is the perfect spot for this. Has restaurants, bars, cafes and a mall across the street. It’s definitely a great spot to visit if you and your co workers want to relax after a day of work. As a traveler, unless you wanna buy some expensive things or drink at a typical American bar and lounge, I probably hit other places up.

Overrated

By Clara1563 |

A couple of my favorite stores are here, but unless you have money to burn it's not very affordable when it comes to food and shopping although there are a couple of mid-range stores. Lots of "normal" people walking around looking at the handful of pretentious folks (occasional flashy car with lound speaker. Certain evenings for rubbernecking at girls in high heels and uber skimpy/tight dresses.
It's not a very big area. Maybe 3 blocks? It is conveniently across the street from Valley Fair for regular mall shopping and additional high-end stores.
There is a parking garage, but at certain times it can still be difficult to find parking.
The Tesla showroom is here. If you want cood French food, go to Le Papillon which is just 5 min drive away as opposed to the Left Bank here. It is fun to listen to the live music at the tequila bar here. However, occasional seasonal music entertainment hired by the shopping area (as opposed to a particular establishment) can be woefully poor--it's inconsistent.

Beautiful place

By Nikita0402 |

Beautiful place to hang out in the evening, also a lot of shop around and have good food. The place offer something interesting to everyone. Definitely a good place to explore in evening

fun walk

By Tina |

Lots of great places to eat and shop you can spend a day there. Parking is very easy. There are high end shopping but also reasonable places you can shop. If you spend a day where comfortable shoes. There is also a big mall very close by.

Nice area with expensive shops

By cesar n |

You can go for shopping and a walk. There is lot of events during the year. The best is when they organise concerts in the night.

Best Shopping in area!!!

By Furnman61 |

I love Santana Row! It has the best shopping and dining choices around, My favorite is Maggianos but LG Steakhouse is a close second. Great people watching too. It is just across the street from a great mall with Nordstroms.

Lovely and dleightful

By FarAway137836 |

It's like a walk in a quaint european town. The outdoor seating areas are comfortable and the restaurants serve delicious food.

Great place to hang out

By L0ve2travle |

Santana Row is a great place to hang out with friend and family. It has multiple eateries, music, Starbucks, Peet's coffee, and a Yogurt shop. Multiple stores from high-end to lower-end provide a playground for shopaholics, and one can never go wrong with stopping by a H&M store for a great selection of clothes. My favorite restaurants are Maggiano's (family affair), Left Bank (great food, slow service) and Pizza Antica (great salads). Summer time is perfect for listening variety of music from local bands and musicians.

Shop till You drop & Repeat

By Abhishek J |

This is a really chic place to be. All big brands are here and you also have Tesla!!!! This is a single row of the really big brands that you could think of in Campbell. And if you get tired walking around with the bags in hand then you can refresh yourself with the many restaurants. Also for the gadget freaks, there is best buy where you can buy every appliance for your home or any gadget for yourself.

The shops are high-end but you also have a few shops like H&M which are budget friendly. It could also be a good place to just catch-up friends and family.

Fun area!

By James W |

Great mixed-use shopping area with apartments/condos, restaurants, and a wonderful selection of shops. This is a fun area to just stroll about, maybe stop at one of the outdoor areas for a glass of wine or a plate of tapas. Free parking is available on the street or in the large underground parking areas.

Outdoor stroll while shopping

By Ruth W |

Beautiful flowers, beautiful stores, great restaurants!
Parking can be tricky during the evening and weekends. They have annexed the lot across the street for this purpose: warning ⚠️ be prepared to walk before you can stroll. Best advise? Visit early!
Nice movie theatre as well.

Wonderful place to wander

By Linda B |

A beautiful European experience right here in Silicon Valley. Lovely tree lined streets, gorgeous flowers, sidewalk cafes, sumptuous stores. Try the Left Bank for lunch and wander down to the Tesla showroom to dream. Most stores are pretty pricey, but fun to experience. Parking is not to difficult especially if you go mid week Avoid the crazy mall across the street and come have a relaxing afternoon.

Food and shopping

By AngieHollingshead |

I like to window shop here as it is a little expensive for my teacher salary. Usually I’m here to eat at one of the many restaurants or to go to a movie. There are a lot of food choices. Occasionally there is live music in some of the courtyards.

Ramblas in Silicon Valley

By Ola C |

When this shopping center was first conceived, I had the opportunity of seeing the plans. While I did not think the apartments were to my taste, I was pleased to see that the exteriors were decidedly European in design. When completed it reminded me of the Ramblas in Barcelona. After years of shops and restaurants opening and closing, it has not lost its charm and my husband and I go often to stroll, grab a bite and see a movie, and, yes, shop. We also like to sit and listen to live music performed on weekends.

Many of the shops are upscale, but others are affordable and we do find good values. Whether you are looking for coat hangers (Container Store), PC (Best Buy) or a new Tesla, there is something for everyone. My biggest issue with most shopping areas is parking, but SR seems to always have spaces available with minimal circling. We especially like that the office building garage is open on weekends. I was sad to see the bookstore close and hope there will be one in the future. If I could change anything it would be to eliminate all traffic in the central lanes and open more small stalls.

European glamour

By Chris B |

Beautiful 4-5 blocks full of top brand shops and beautiful fancy restaurants. Fine decor in every block. Flowers and nice trees everywhere. Must go if you are in the San Jose area. Westfield shopping mall really close. Sundays are quite busy.

Cool outdoor experience

By karlar15 |

Shopping outdoors was a great experience. There are lots of neat shops to visit. Great feel of the outsdoor space. The sidewalks are super wide so even on a busy day you don’t feel overwhelmed by the crowds. There are lots of very comfortable places to sit and take a break or have a coffee. Neat place to see.

Weekend getaway

By Todd R |

Perfect weather and activities to keep us entertained for the weekend. Very pleasant walk around the local shops and all shop keepers were very friendly.

What a way to spend a Saturday afternoon

By lk0407 |

Be as active, or as chill, as you want. Sit and sip a drinky drinky at one of the bars and watch the sports cars go by or browse through all of the stores and melt the plastic. Great shade in the afternoon. Good people watching.

Santana Row Shopping Trip

By TravelerPattyM |

Santana Row . So many upscale shops. Gucci my fav, Z Galleries, Crate and Barrel, bars and restaurants. Parking is close and convenient. This place is really a great place to spend hours with friends or your significant other. Close by great hotels and nightlife. A must see.

This place is not safe. Be aware Got robbed in front of The Counter

By André A |

Used to love this place. My wife and I came several times with our dogs. So I was excited to bring my parents who were visiting me from Brazil. What a disappointment. My parents and I were sitting in a table outside The Counter waiting for my wife for a late lunch. A guy came by and violently grabbed my mom’s purse from her arms and ran away. I and other people ran after him but he jumped into a car that was waiting for him on Winchester street. A Security vehicle was at the sign, saw we running after the robber and did nothing. Police came and we registered what happened, but it was too late.

What a Horrible experience for me and my parents. Brought them to Santana row advertising all the great things this place does have. It ended up as a very frustrating and scary experience. Besides the material losses, my parents will carry this emotional trauma for some time.

It doesn’t matter how many great shops, restaurants are there if we can’t feel safe. All this happened in the afternoon. This place is not safe and I won’t bring my family back there. I recommend everybody to do the same.

For Santana Row Management, you guys seriously need to review your security plan and support. It is unacceptable to let this happen.

Great Holiday Decorations!

By Joni C |

Santana Row is great to walk around, especially at night to see the Holiday decorations. The Row is kept very clean and tends to get busy so parking can be a problem at times. Most stores are high-end, high-priced, but there are a few that you can find something worth the price.

Great place to hang out and kid friendly too

By Khac-Quan N |

Its a great place to bring your kids and family to hang out. Good food and coffee. Don't miss the Sino, Left Bank restaurants and coffee shops

Not impressed

By JudyH432 |

Nice expensive restaurants, Expensive shops. Crowed and bad parking. I remember when it was Town and Country Village. More down to earth then

Very nice area

By navyjim58 |

Did not know about Santana Row until a business acquaintance took me for lunch. Since then I have brought family and friends. Wine bars with a really nice one with view at the top of the Valencia hotel. Love the outdoor Spanish restaurant El Hardin and outside wine bar Vintage Wine Bar. Plenty of free parking in the adjacent garage. Yard house restaurant there also along with assorted shops and bakeries and ice cream places. Tesla company has cars to look at and get information on. Very nice area near the Winchester Mystery house.

Pricey but classy

By hotrosyposy |

This is a great place to come out with friends and have a day on the town. You can shop, eat and just enjoy. My aunt who lived in Saratoga shared this place with me and we really liked it!

Great Place to Shop, Eat & See Movies

By Dotti K |

My daughter and I went to the movies there, and it is our favorite movie theatre. We also enjoyed walking around the area and window shopping. And, of course, there are plenty of places to get a meal, a snack or a drink.

After Christmas Shop

By Bret W |

Santana Row is the nicest place to shop in all of the Silicon Valley! It can be either relaxing or intensely action-packed, a place to have simple fun or a serious place to spend large amounts of cash, but regardless of which way it is for you, I’ve never walked away without some positive memories of time we’ll spend and enjoyed there all throughout the year. My latest shop there was just after Christmas to get some needed Home Decor items for ushering in the New Year and Santana Row is just the place to go for things to modernize any home!

This is a magnificent half-a-mile

By evodkin |

I am a big city guy. This is an "art deco" street which makes me feel right, unlike all Silicon Valley sleeping quarters. My wife likes shopping there, I like Happy Hours:).
Cinearts is a nice theater to watch indie movies.
If you are out of town and have a time to spare go to the Row.

A Lot To Do, But Only In Fair Weather

By bbbob84 |

We visited on a rainy day and unfortunately all of the establishments require an outdoor entrance so it is not conducive to enjoying during inclement weather. We wanted to stroll and see the stores and dining establishments, but could not without getting really wet since the weather was very rainy and windy on this particular day. Hopefully when you visit the weather will be nice and you can enjoy what looks like a very nice area.

One of the few outside malls that has great character.

By bbon2ur |

Santana Row is an upscale shopping mall with a broad selection of retail and many good restaurants. The architecture is what really sets this apart from other shopping experiences. Some of the elements of a quaint European city are imported many are well done creations that come off very nicely. The traffic is divided with a center space occupied by activities, a delightful wine bar and ice cream. Parking is convenient and tucked under and out of sight with good signage and well lighted. While the shopping up scale, Tesla. Boutique Harajuku , Tommy Bahama etc. there is an Amazon Books, Z Gallerie, Sur la Tab and Urban Outfitters along with Chico's and Maker's Market. It is a charming place to visit even if you do not plan to purchase anything. The center is pet friendly for well behaved animals.

Great People Watching

By ORD-TGU |

I have visited on weekends, and roamed around the shops and restaurants. It is great to sit and relax, enjoy the sun and people watch.

Great european feel sit down and relaxing street

By Sathya U |

Great night out with loads of shops and eat outs. There are some great restaurants and shops to browse and have a sit meal with family and friends

A great place for everyone !!

By sheilar713 |

It is for the whole family. Parents can shop there, teens can shop there, and parents with toddlers can take them to play on equipment while the other does shopping. There are wonderful restaurants of all levels of expense and with all types of food. I have been there many times and will go there many times more.

The Holidays on Santana Row... a 4.5*

By lwj |

Santana Row is a high end shopping area of the Silicon Valley. From high end jewelry, purses, fashions and accessories to a Tesla showroom and restaurants with sidewalk table service where customers are able to sit, relax and watch the their fellow shoppers rush by.
Find that gift for someone special, see that special movie, make reservations at a great restaurant.... or shop until your Christmas list is completed.
It is also a great place to people watch and enjoy the holiday decor.

Shopping Center

By Thomas V |

Urban shopping center, pedestrian street, mostly chain stores and restaurants, outdoor seating. Nicer than a mall, but it's still just a shopping center.

Fix the Sewer Smell

By WyoFarmGirl |

Beautiful stores and restaurants. Loved @b8ta The stench is overwhelming. Check out all the cool new products at b8ta. But i wouldn’t eat outside. 😷

A fun shopping day

By Rebecca R |

Although most of this shopping is high-end, it's still fun. And there is a good assortment of restaurants too. I like going down to enjoy some cocktails with friends. Santana Row can be a great gathering place. Parking can be a little scarce at times, but over all the garages can usually handle the flow of cars.

Nice promenade. Smaller than expected.

By Linda W |

A nice promenade to walk around. The area is smaller than we thought. The restaurants and shops are pricey. Very relaxing to spend a few hours there.
