We were able to see about HALF of the Science Museum on our trip - there was so much to do! Our kiddo had a great time and we had fun, too. Definitely recommend the planetarium show, make your reservation early. We got there around 1PM and stayed until closing at 5PM. Again, we'll have to go back sometime, because we only got to experience about half of the museum.

It was a rainy day, so we needed a place for our kids to run off some energy while visiting family. The museum of science delivered on the activities that were quite educational while also entertaining our kids. Highly recommend to any family with kids.

Been there many times. If you can have sugar, try the astronaut ice cream at the science store. They have a great space equipment display, railroad display, military display etc. and plenty of stuff for kids to do.

This is always a hit with the kiddos. Science museum is still called the Omniplex to those who know. Conveniently next door to the zoo. Plan to spend the day.

This place is a great place to spend a half day with kids under the age 10. The museum has several interesting exhibit areas from a young kids area showing the science seen in carnivals, areas touching on space, light, physics, weather, health and even trains. The museum is spread out well and even has an area to grab something to eat and drink. Our son is 4 1/2 so he is still too young to understand fully what each exhibit is about. However there was enough hands on activities to keep him interested and allowed him to have a good time. Keep in mind this place is geared towards kids, so for teens and adults without kids visiting the next door zoo is a better way to spend the day.

This is the largest Science Museum we have ever been in. Well worth the money. Children especially love it. I would recommend it.

The museum is big, with many different interesting things to see. You can easily spend 3-4 hours here.
Lots of interactive exhibits, not too much for really young kids (e.g. 2 year olds) but enough to keep them interested, most of the stuff is for older kids.
Food court is pretty good if you want to eat here. Facilities overall are in great shape, we have come twice and would recommend!

The museum exhibits had a good space between each other and separate groups were clearly marked. Signage was clear. The atmosphere was bright and inviting. I liked the two planetarium shows. At the second show we were informed that the planetarium is old and plans are underway to replace it which will make the shows more enjoyable. There is an area to get snacks though I didn’t check it out so I can’t give any more information.
The most important thing, I see is a lot of families with their children who are interacting in and with the exhibits.

Worth the price of admission, you get hands-on with any type of science you can imagine. Rockets? check. Bugs? you bet. Explosives? surprise - yes - and in a safe, live show no less. We especially liked the Tornado Simulator and the Segway track.

This was a great place to spend a day exploring with my grandchildren! Lots of things to do and see, so plan at least 3-4 hours!!

I have been there twice in the past two years with my daughters and grand children. This place is fun as well as educational. And the adults enjoyed it as much as the children!!

We had a great time. You really get your monies worth. We stayed about 3 hours. The show wasn't good but the younger kids liked it.

Was actually really fun, me and my wife took are 6 year old daughter and my two older sons ages 14 and 15 and they all had fun. Lots of stuff to see and play with and learn.

I always enjoy science displays and museums, and this one is very good. I enjoyed the displays and how you could actually look into the space capsule, and many other things. Very interactive museum, and lots of fun as well as educational.

Tons of stuff to see and do in this museum. It’s great for all ages. There’s exhibits concerning weather, chemistry, oil and gas industry, aerospace and agricultural. Tons of hands on experiences, too.

New stuff even more coming
Nice and clean spent about 3 hours and I played a lot of the hands on. Grandkids loved it didn't want to come out after being there for awhile.

My husband and I went to the circus there's event they had here for adults 21+. It was great because you still had access to all of the exhibits but you didn't have to share it with a ton of little kids. It was a lot of fun seeing some of the old exhibits from your childhood but also all of the new ones.

My two daughter one 30 and one 12 had a blast, we loved it so much fun and so educational .. I would highly recommend that you go to this place it's fun for kids and adults there so much interaction with each other so many things to do and learn as you're doing

My friend & I decided to check out this museum and it was the worst/lamest science museum I’ve ever been to in my LIFE. I visited a science museum in Philly and thought it would be similar boy was I WRONG!!! If you are over 10 years old/have no kids save your money!! They should call it the CHILDREN’S science museum.

If you're looking for an activity in Oklahoma City, especially one that entertains adults as well as kids of all ages, do not miss this museum. We're from Dallas but liked this museum more than the Perot, which is saying a lot. We spent six hours here and still didn't see/do it all. It has tons of hands-on & interactive features that our kids wanted to do over & over & over. Almost every facet of science is available to explore: sound, light, color, magnification, motion, machines, erosion, weather, earthquakes, decomposition, space, and more. Plus an amazing garden, a planetarium, model trains, live shows, a tinkering room, several play areas for very young kiddos, and a lunch cafe with good food. It also has an entire art wing with optical illusions and a section devoted to origami art. All of this in one museum?! This place blew us away, seriously. Prices are very reasonable for everything they offer and the icing on the cake is that parking is free.

I took my 3 year old granddaughter. We had a blast. She especially enjoyed the tree house and the slide, although she ran from exhibit to exhibit enjoying everything!

I have a yearly membership. Totally worth it. Suggested for kids to do indoor stuff that is fun and can be educational.

My Girlfriend and I were in town for the state fair, and were looking for something indoors to do afterward. This museum is amazing, and it’s not just for kids. We are in our twenties, and had a wonderful time. We arrived when they opened at 11, and didn’t leave until 4:30pm.
There is so much in this museum, from the planetarium shows, to the outdoor gardens, to the art exhibits on the second level.
They have a tinker room, where they were teaching hands on bookbinding, as well as demonstrations of science experiments four times a day.
If you have a desire to learn, or are at all fascinated by science, space, sound etc, this is the place for you.

This was a lot of fun. There were a lot of attractions to interact with and a lot of new things too learn. A great place for children to visit.

Go early because it fills up fast! We usually try to go on a weekday when its slower but on weekends it ends up crowded

Show your family how much fun Science can be by taking them to the Science Museum. This is a huge museum with lots of exhibits to explore. This museum is a must see if you are near Oklahoma City.

My almost three year old and I LOVED it! We are members of our local Science Museum, so we got free entry since it was a reciprocal museum. There are so many different areas. We went on a Thursday afternoon so it wasn't super crowded. We visited three hours and still didn't get to see everything. I had to drag her away.
There wasn't an area we went in that didn't have something for her. She climbed all the play areas, did all the slides, rode the little carousel for at least half an hour, flew in the airplane cockpit, honked the fire truck horn, explored all the crawl through tunnels, built a pyramid with the stackable buckets, and jumped up and down on the larger than life table at the front. She was enthralled with the train set. We also did the photo booth. She is so proud of the picture of us from that. I would have liked to see the fire show, but she was too busy to stop for it. There's also a cafe which we didn't eat at. I had as much fun as her! I definitely recommend it.
I will warn parents of younger kids about some of the taller slides. The green metal one is too fast for littles to go by themselves. I went down behind her, and when I got to the bottom she was crying and holding her head. It hurt me going down, so I'm sure it didn't feel good for her. I had her sit in my lap for all the other slides.

Our visit was so much fun! We took four kids aged 2, 4, 6, and 7 and they all had a wonderful time!
Lots of hands-on activity as well as a great planetarium show.

We spent an afternoon there and could have stayed longer if they weren't closing. There is so much to do at this museum it could take hours to get through it all depending on your interest and the interest of your children. My kids are 13 and 11 and loved every minute of it! We travel all over the country and have been to many science museums on our reciprocal membership, and this is one of the best. My kids especially loved the indoor playground (yes, it's even fun for a teenager), and they loved the upstairs gym area where they could run races and obstacle courses. They even have segways for the kids to try. That was also a big hit!

This is a great, fun learning museum for kids, but also for adults. They have special exhibits as well that are always fun. Make sure to check out the planetarium, one of the first in the midwest, for a really cool show. For adults, they also have events at night with a bar so you can play without kids.

My daughter and I spent just about the whole day in here. There were so many fun exhibits that were hands on and educational. My daughter even got to ride a Segway for the first time here. There were so many different areas that included Nasa and space exploration, tornadoes, other in climate weather conditions, and even natural disasters to teach children about why they are formed and how they occur. I was stationed in this area years ago used to frequent this museum often. The only downfall is that they had a real cool IMAX theater but they no longer show movies in it just small short clips on occasion and even then it is not often. This was the one thing I was looking forward to do with my daughter because it was like a huge glass dome that looked like a soccer ball at the edge of the building and just looked cool when you sat inside of it. Again just dissapointed we did not get to watch a movie here. The science show was great. The individual giving the demonstration made the show even more interesting as he did a great job keeping the crowd involved by asking for young volunteers from the audience. If you are ever in the area this science museum and the zoo are must see attractions!

We have five children. There was so much to do and see at the Science Museum Oklahoma for all age groups, even for us. We have been to quite a few children’s museums in different states and even in Canada and Mexico and this has been one of the best. I don’t even know where to start to describe all there is to do there. It was a blast. We will be going back.
Hemos ido a varios museos de ninos en los EUA, Canada, y en Mexico y este fue uno de los mejores. Hay tanto que hacer para toda la familia, hasta los adultos! Vamos a regresar.

Definitely designed with kids in mind, however adults can find something to peak their interest. One of the highlights for me was the planetarium.

Visited early in the morning with very few people inside. Saw 2 shows in the planetarium and was impressed. After 2 hours, the placed was filled with children and adults. The learning experiences were exciting, especially when seeing the kids having so much fun. A great place to learn about science and just have a good time.

Great fun for all ages! We try to go every year. We would spend the entire day there. Catch a movie if you can!

What a great museum! True, it's targeted towards kids, but there is so much variety that "kids" of all ages can have fun while learning. We visited with two teenaged boys who loved every minute. Most exhibits are "hands on" which doubles the fun . This place is huge so plan on spending several hours. The planetarium is worthwhile. There are shows hourly and the topics are posted outside the facility. There are also live science shows geared primarily to the younger folks. The price of admission is on the high side but overall, worth it. We were there on a Sunday morning and it wasn't crowded. When we left in the early afternoon, it was crowded. Weekdays are crowded with school groups. We'll definitely return as exhibits are constantly being changed and updated.

The first time we went here, my kids loved it and did not want to leave. We have been here at least 2-3 times a year for the last 3 years, we are from North Texas (so its not exactly close). I have to make sure we get there when they open at 9am and some times they are ready to go before closing, if not we close it down. My ADHD son who goes 100MPH all the time is so focused and gets lost in learning so much stuff every time we come. I can not say how much we really enjoy this place. Wish we lived closer to visit more often.

This is a really great way to beat the Oklahoma City heat! Stay inside with the air conditioning and let the kids have at it! There is an indoor tree house and all kinds of physical things to keep them occupied. Science related things as well obviously! Make sure to check out CurioCity! It’s just as you walk in the door to your right. If you’re not looking you can walk right past it!

I liked this museum. There was something for everyone! I just wish that some of the things were "open". Seems like there wasn't enough staffing. Not real sure. My daughter thought that science would be horrible but she loved this museum. We couldn't see everything in one day. We will have to go back and check out what we missed.

We love the science museum. My grandson’s favorite place. So much to see and DO, very hands on!! Nice that they have a little cafeteria too. OKC’s is the best science museum we’ve been to.

I had a really good time at the science Museum of Oklahoma and got a lot of very interesting things in there could spend hours just roaming around looking at all the stuff I really like to come here makes for a good day away from the home enjoyed it very much I’ll be exhibits are very well thought through what recommend to friends and family

Very busy but grandson had a great time. Grandson really enjoyed getting to touch everything. Love the explosion show. Was a good time

This was our second visit to the museum. We love this place!! My 6 year old and 20 month old were so excited. We were there for 8 hours straight. We were constantly having fun. The planetarium was very educational and fun. Our oldest is wanting to go back again very soon.

We took our two year old granddaughter and were worried about having activities for her. She found a day full of activities. And there are kids of all ages there. But as an adult, I was able to enjoy it as well, when I wasn’t chasing her. There are kids running everywhere but they are having fun and I didn’t find it to be TOO much.

The children really enjoyed this place. This is a great place to have a birthday party for children. Also very entertaining for adults. Would recommend to anyone.

My six year old grandkids love visiting here. So much fun and educational. Each time we visit they discover something new. This place is truly fun for all ages.

Great fun for kids, lots to do and see, many interactive things for kids to keep busy. It's just fun. They do a good job of adding new things and changing exhibits.

Hubby and I stopped by the science museum on our way out of town since we usually have fun at places like this. We were pretty amazed at the size of the facility, the amount of activities, and the hard work put into all of the areas. Definitely make time to go here, especially if you have young (or young at heart) people in your party.

This Science Museum never fails to provide a fun filled day for kids of all ages. The entire 6th grade spent the day learning, enjoying and growing from their experience once again at the Science Museum! The education offered here, mixed with the entertainment; is the Perfect mixture of playing while learning along the way! I would highly encourage parents to either take the time to allow their children to experience the Science Museum, or at least sign the permission slip to allow them to attend with their classmates, and enjoy this experience while learning every inch of the way.

We traveled from Dallas to bring our girls here, and ridiculously glad we did. I grew up going to this museum, and remembered it being huge and awesome. In 30 years, they've made it even awesomer. Wow. There's nothing like this in Texas (we'll see once the KidZania opens in Frisco). We easily spent 5 hours here and wore our kids out. If you're anywhere near this place, the annual membership is a no-brainer if you have kids. The only place I've seen that gives this museum a run for its money it COSI in Ohio.

The Science Museum Oklahoma is a must stop every year when our grandchildren visit. We alloys spend at least one full day there. They always have some feature exhibit that iw both interesting and educational. The way they present different science topics is always interesting and intriguing. It is always fun for me and the kids love it! We intended to go for just an hour or so but the grand kids liked it so much we spent the entire day! This is a great attraction for anyone but especially for children.

It was not the best children's museum I had ever visited, but my kids enjoyed it. My son was over the moon because he got to ride a Segway. (We tried doing a Segway tour on spring break last year and we couldn't find one that let a 12 year old drive one). Even though it is smaller and less elaborate than the Perot museum, I think we liked it better. It is nice that it is so open. It is definitely geared towards school aged children--I would say between 3rd and 7th grade maybe. There is very little for young children (unless I missed the area entirely), and I would say it tops out around age 14. The girls trapped me for at least an hour in the drama area, so if you have theater nerds, be prepared. I see there is a question if you have to pay for special exhibits, I don't remember paying for the Segway, but I can't be certain.

I’ve been to science museums in Nashville. Dallas, Fort Worth, and even Commerce, Texas. This museum is clearly heading shoulders above the rest. There were at least 1000 children in there at the time. Yet it did not feel crowded. We were there five hours and I’m not sure we saw or did everything.

We bring our 8th graders here each spring. With such a variety of exhibits, everyone finds something to do! Time to explore is a must! We give our kids 4 hours to visit the science museum and zoo and the proximity to the zoo is a definite plus! We will be back next year!

Science Museum of Oklahoma (smo) is an awesome place and it was even more awesome than usual during Tinkerfest! Tinkerfest is free and so is the museum admission for that day so as you can imagine it was packed. Shuttles ran from the over flow parking lot (the race track).. though we just walked since its not that far. Everyone working (whether the tinkerfest booths or smo itself) was extremely kind, patient and helpful. A special thanks to the guy working the paper rocket blaster.. he was having a great time w the kids and made it even more fun for everyone. SMO is always spotless and even w yesterdays crowds it was no exception. Even the bathrooms were well stocked and immaculate. The exhibits are all hands on and its a huge place so the kids can explore and learn for hours. The planetarium is cool and the science shows are a no miss! Admission fees are reasonable for what you get and theres enough to do that we have never gotten bored.. even when the grandkids stay from open to close. We get a family membership every few years which is great if you live fairly local (we're an hour away). I have only 2 complaints about smo.. the price of their food and drinks. $4 for a tiny pop for instance. However you *can* bring your own food and drinks and your welcome to bring them inside with you and eat them in the ac or heat in the cafeteria. Most places dont allow that and i think thats great since a lot of families just cant afford the admission price and then those kind of food and drink prices.. and a hungry, thirsty kid doesnt learn as well. The other thing is that their special exhibits cost quite a bit more.. so be warned that even if you have a membership, if you want to see the special exhibit your going to pay 10+ more per person. And even that wouldnt bother me as much if they'd advertise that fact. All in all though you cant go wrong w a trip to SMO! Its rare that i give a 5 star but they've earned it time and time again!

Great place to let kids run and explore until they give out. A little stressful trying to keep up with them in a throng of other playful kiddos

Best way to beat the heat and let children play indoors. Numerous interactive exhibits. Indoor play area too. See the physics show and enjoy a “fire tornado.”
The Kirkpatrick Planetarium is pretty cool too for all astrological phenomenon.

The staff are committed to helping the parents and children! We had a nice time with myself and my daughter and six children. Everyone found something they enjoyed and the play area was a hit! I did lose a child for a few minutes in the water area, but he was hidden out of view. The classes that were available twenty years ago for the home educating families is greatly missed. Wish that could happen again. But we are happy to be members and loving the changes to the outside and train area, too!

We had a great time so educational and grandkids loved it. It is right next door to the Oklahoma City Zoo which is also a great place to take family great zoo they are working on it in some places but you can still enjoy seeing animals nice food courts. You should try their Pretzels at the Asia inside food place, They are warm and comes with warm cheese they are delicious!

Great place for young and old. Sections for all ages with various activities. Reasonably priced café and coffee shops.

I took my 9 year old and 6 year old to the museum. Plenty of hands on things to do. They did seem to enjoy the play areas the best. Some of the exhibits need to be kept up. Some things didn’t work. It is a good day out. We watched the explosion show which was good. We also ate there. They had chicken nuggets, pizza and fries. The food was pretty decent for the place. Check out the garden by the food. Admission is not cheap.

We took our granddaughter age 7 to the sciencemuseum and it was wonderful! The hands on exhibits were all working, the place was very clean and the staff were friendly.

Our kids love this place!! Great for all ages. Our children are 10, 12, and 14 and they love it! So much to do you really need more than a day here!

Hubby and I took the family here one Saturday during a short getaway to OKC with no forethought or planning, and we were so blown away! We spent the WHOLE DAY there, which is a big deal for a family with young kiddos (1, 3, and 6). There was just so much to do and see and we didn't want to miss a thing. The Science Live! show is a MUST SEE, and we especially loved CurioCity. We've been to lots of science museums (Philadelphia, Kansas City, Tulsa), and this was by far the best I've ever visited!

Want to get hands on and explore? Well the Science Museum of Oklahoma is the place to visit. We brought a large group in with ages from toddler to senior adult. There was something for everyone. The Science live shows were fun and informative. All the exhibits were so interesting. We can’t wait to go back and explore next time we are in town!

This is a great place to visit for families. There is plenty to keep everyone entertained, no matter their age. Our crowd’s ages ranged from toddler to grandparents and everyone enjoyed it.

We came across this place by accident, not realizing this was a museum for kids! Talk about a fantastic place to bring small children to learn about science! The entire museum is filled with two stories of hands-on activities, shows, demonstrations and other events. There is a Starbucks inside for parents, so they can keep their energy level up to that of their children!! This museum covers all things science: weather, motion, dental health, astronomy, space, trains, games, sports, etc. If you have children, this is a MUST DO attraction!!

If you are looking for a place for quiet introspection, seek elsewhere. This place is loaded with enough hands-on stuff to make your hyper 8-year old shriek with delight -- and he or she will be in loads of good company. If you are wondering what the equations are behind the Coriolis Effect, you won't find those kinds of answers here -- but there are enough demonstrations of practical applications to make you stop asking deeper questions for awhile.

Plenty of learning activities to keep the whole family busy and active for several hours , we have been here several times and it’s always fun for our family

This place is wonderful, it is a great learning experience for children of all ages. They get to explore with hands on activities and have fun while learning. Renew our season passes each year. Only downfall is displays last awhile and if you are a frequent visitor it can get stale after a few visits.

I recommend this science museum to anyone with young kids because it is very large and has a wide variety of options.

Went with grandchildren. They like the hands-on exhibits and the variety of things. They were big fans of the model train exhibit.

There is so many interactive activities to do here. We really enjoyed our visit and especially loved the planetarium show. My son said it was the best museum he's ever been to!

It was big, fun and educational.
Lots to do and see. 1teenager, 3 adults and a 7yr old and we ALL enjoyed it. Took us about 2 hrs to do most of it.

The Science Museum of Oklahoma has something for every member of the family. From outstanding art installations and artifacts from aviation and space flight history, to the incredible interactive science displays the Science Museum never disappoints. Good food and drinks are available if you need refreshment, and don't jump too high when the giant Tesla coil unleashes a lightning bolt right inside the building. The aquarium section with its touch tanks and tide pool displays was a real treat. You will not leave disappointed from this adventure. Oh, and don't forget to take home some science of your own from the excellent gift shop!

I took my granddaughter for her 6th birthday. We loved the planetarium. We saw the live science show. We took a turn on a bed of nails. It was a great day.

Hands-on fun for adults too! Try the bed of nails 😬 if you dare! Planetary was relaxing and informative, food was great, people were super helpful and friendly.

We have 13, 10, and 2 yr olds. We came for the 2 yr olds birthday and there was plenty for everyone to do and have a good time. We spent several hours there and still didn't do it all. Highly recommend it!

Fantastic children’s museum!!! My 7 & 8 year olds LOVED this museum stop on our trip from Illinois to New Mexico. This was the best childrens museum we’ve ever been to! So many hands on exhibits to explore!

With 2 small kids, we have been to our fair share of childrens and science museums. This stop takes the best of each of them and combines it into a single spot. Not only is the facility HUGE- 2 full floors of interactive exhibits- there is a planetarium showing films every hour and an outdoor space that features games, a garden, and motorized kid versions of construction equipment. Our kids loved the "Olympics" exhibit with the obstacle course and games. With special spots for toddlers and isolated rooms for all kinds of investigations (space, geology, light etc.) it never felt crowded even for a spring break visit. Best of all was an exhibit dedicated to exploring and learning about dyslexia! Science, empathy, and fun?! All at once?! We would return in a heartbeat.

I’ve previously gone to the science museum with my family (young kiddos) and have enjoyed it greatly (heck, I enjoyed it before I had kids). They have done a lot of work on it and it’s a lot of fun for kids and adults alike. A few months ago my company rented out the building for an adult-only appreciation party. It was a great event and we adults enjoyed the museum and the special exhibits thoroughly.

I visited with mu niece and her two children. It was great fun for all of us. Lots of interactive things for kids of all ages to do. I am not sure if the kids had more fun or if I did :)

Okay, let me put it out there—this is one of the best science museums we have ever been to. There are an abundance of hands-on activities for everyone no matter the age or level of knowledge. Included in the price of the entrance fee are “Science Live”—great for youngsters—presentations and excellent planetarium shows. Just three of the many areas to enjoy include optical illusions, riding a segway, and seeing airplanes. We really enjoyed our time and our teenage grandkids were literally the last to leave at 5 pm closing. Note that entrance is free for ASTC members.

Great for the kids - we go here often - never a disappointment when- everything from shows to crafts to adventure - staff is always super friendly -

Lots of great exhibits and hands on activities. Good dining choices and with the OKC Zoo next door, a great place to spend a whole day or even a weekend.

I was here primarily for the exhibit on Ray Harryhausen, but enjoyed the museum as a whole. Its holdings are in a spacious and well lit building, and moving around was not difficult at all. The focus in design has more appeal to children than adults, but stuff for us is there if you look past the pretty colors. Ate in the cafeteria and was pleased enough with the portion sizes and prices.

At first my kids were not thrilled to hear we were visiting a science museum instead of the zoo that’s next to it... As soon as we walked in to the museum, both kids (6 & 8 y.o) thanked me for taking them. After 4+ hours, they were still enthralled with all the hands on cool science things. So glad we had the opportunity to go & we’ll be back!

A must see!! This place is huge and filled to the rafters with fun things to see and do. One can easily spend 4 plus hours in this place just seeing everything once. Definitely will be coming back.

It is true that there are a few things that are broken. There are things that need better instructions. It is also true that this is a huge place packed with really cool stuff. They have a big train and I kind of wish they would have opened it up instead of just looking through the windows. We got there early and it was less crowded. However, by 12:00 the place was packed. One could easily stay there all day but the sheer volume of people and sounds is like a sensory overload. There are a few areas with slides and playground stuff and science mixed in. That was kind of neat. If you are one of those people that plans to go grocery shopping at midnight due to anxiety then you will not like this. We went on a Saturday. It was great to see everything but I would need to find a less busy time to go--if those exist. The kids seemed to be overloaded as well after 3 hours.

I'm not sure what some of the negative reviews were expecting from SMO. Our family has been to several around the country, and if you have curious kids that want to learn while having fun, this is one of the best. There is a lot to do and unless you're simply running through or expecting an amusement park experience, you can spend hours here. I can understand how some adults could be bored as many of the activities during the day are geared toward families and younger kids.
We enjoyed the planetarium. There are some complaints about specific shows not being what they expected, but there is a schedule available that tells you what the show is at the hour. Some are tailored to young children and some for a broader audience.
If you are member of an ASTC museum and you happen to be around, this is worth a stop. If you're in OKC and you have kids, I'd say grab a membership and add this to a list of places "to visit on weekends when you don't have anything planned."

To be honest we were visiting the zoo next to the museum but because of the extreme cold, the zoo was a no no. We opted Science museum since it is an indoor experience. I am a person from Science background and so loved the whole set up. All the experiments coming to life for me. I would definitely recommend all to visit this place and enjoy the science at work. Also everything is well maintained and clean.

Went with a friend, they had their Holiday party here on evening. It was great, no kids and we got to enjoy most of the exhibits available downstairs. It was a clean enjoyable time.

We spent several hours here and didn't get to see everything! Our children were 18 months and 11 when we visited and both were equally entertained. There's something for all ages and not overly priced!

This is by far our family's favorite science center. We've been to the ones in St. Louis and Kansas City and I have also went to the one in Baltimore when I was younger....this tops them all hands down. My kids (ages 7 & 8) originally planned to go the Science Museum Oklahoma in the morning and then go to the zoo next door in the afternoon. We arrived at opening time and started exploring. There is soooo much to see. We were having so much fun we decided to have lunch and see a little more. Shortly after, we decided we would just skip the zoo that day and stay until the science center closed (which we did.) Plan for a whole day. You won't be disappointed!

This -upgraded Science Museum in OKC is easy access, has ample parking, and exhibits worth visiting !

We buy a pass to the museum every year because the kids love it so much. You really need to stay for the science show.

We went with my daughters class and they all had fun. They loved getting to have hands on experience.

So much fun stuff to do. You could spend ALL day in there, especially if you just let the kids play. Lots of exhibits and fun things to do.

This place was amazing. We were there for hours and didn’t get even halfway through! There was so much hands on stuff for them to do! Everyone from my 1 year old to my husband played and played!

Absolutely, the best place to take kids in OKC! Just plan a two day trip! We went 5 years ago and has it changed. Every time we moved we saw something we hadn't seen before. Something for all ages, even adults. Recommend highly!

I have a teen and toddler. Both had a blast and so did the adults. Lots of hands on fun for any age.

Fantastic fun for all ages. I took my daughter and her best friends for an impromptu visit. We all had a blast and I learned how to operate a Segway. Can’t wait to return.

Lots and lots to do for all ages , as much play areas as science stuff , the tickets are pretty high but if you can stay all day it’s definitely worth it!

You just can't imagine how much fun your family can have. The children can run from exhibit to exhibit trying out the science experience, hands-on. The adults will learn something too. Plan on spending several hours going around to each exhibit, trying out the science project. Its definitely worth the time and investment. You may want to purchase an annual membership. YOU WILL WANT TO RETURN SOON!

Had a great time with my grandchildren. There is a lot to do. I recommend at least 5 hours for your families full enjoyment

I took my daughter to the Science Museum and was in for a shock! I had not been there in almost 20 years and the changes made were awesome! The large science based play area is a wall of noise, lights, and play. The chaos and laughter made even adults feel like children and want to play. After leaving there with much of the energy burnt out of the kids they went from station to station learning things through interactive play. It was a great time and my daughter bugs me to return constantly.

Went with another adult couple and enjoyed the visit. It was a great way to spend an afternoon. There is something for kids to adults.

We are annual pass holders. The kids love going. Definitely recommend for kids 10 and under. We enjoy it also, but once is enough for the adults.

What a grand place to take children’s . It take you a couples of hours to go through all rooms but it s so fun the kids don’t like to leave .My four kids grow up there and now they taking their children’s I just bought them a yearly pass ... highly recommended. It s also very instructive for the whole family .

We travel a lot. I’d say we have been to about 50 or more science centers over the years. As we walked out of this one my husband, myself and our 14 year old remarked that this was THE best we have been to. Lots of variety and hands on. Well laid out. Many unique activities which is saying a lot considering how many we have been to. Top notch all the way.

This was supposed to be a stop on a weekend tour, needed all day and still hasn’t seen it all. We will have to come back!

All true, there is something for everyone at every age and stage of life. The Science museum makes learning fun. I climbed the tree house and explored outer space with the grandkids. Then, we used our physical energy to peddle the carousel. Pack a lunch or buy a snack from the cafe, either way, go and stay the day.

It's big place with lots to do. We loved the air/space areas. Air planes and spaceships, what more do you need to drive that imagination engine. Lot's of interactive stations that teach as they play.

We stool the kids here for an afternoon. They really enjoyed it a lot. Keep on mind the museum is geared towards children and you will be good to go. They do have some anazinf exhibits from time to time.

The science museum is easily someplace you can spend all day at. Theirs lots of hands on exhibits from weather to electricity. Theirs an excellent play area in the middle for children as well. Don't miss the airplane and train exhibits as well.

This is probably my kid’s favorite place in OKC. They always have rotating exhibits with new things to do, but the CurioCity part of the museum is our favorite. So much for everyone to enjoy. Water play, sand, carnival games, play structure, building, imagination, dress up, theater, music, dance....I could go on and on! If the weather is nice check out the gardens too, they are always doing fun things out there.

I took my granddaughter here for a outing. It was incredible. I had just as good of a time. Great exhibits and hands on things to do. I highly recommend this place.

We get a membership to the science museum every other year because the grandkids love it sooo much! Each year we buy one or wo memberships instead of toys.. memories instead of things. We get the membership that lets us visit the 5 museums in the network.. of which are close to us. The littles enjoy Jasmine Moran the most but over 6 they prefer the okc science museum and the adults agree that its hands down the best.
Tips: Plan on spending the day! Letting the kids have time to do their thing and explore at the own speed makes for the most fun and they can easily spend 8 hours here and not do it all! Food is relatively expensive but your allowed to bring in sack lunches and eat in the cafeteria (rather that the hot car like some places). The SMO shows are well worth taking time to watch! Pick a meet up place incase anyone gets lost as even the adults tend to wander off when they see something really cool!
We love this place so must that there is only one thing I would change about it. The special exhibits have an additional entry fee that's not included in the entry price or membership fee and that often isn't announced anywhere. If your going esp to see the special exhibit be aware of that. We are usually a pretty big group and paying an additional 10-15 per person doesn't usually fit in our budget.

Excellent interactive science theories built to captive even the youngest inquisitive minds. Watching the children unwrap ideas and concepts as they touched and explored different exhibits through play and have a solid understanding when they walked away.

Too much to see in one day - especially if you have children with you. Most exhibits are hands on with the science behind them listed. Split into sections, two floors, the food line was extremely long. History of flight, of bikes, of space exploration, ... The train line was very long and while the man was interesting it was too long of a talk in a confined space. It also caused the line to be long.

Our family of all ages loves the Science Museum. Having visited other similar museums, OKC has more to offer both in space and variety. The most recent renovation has added a new level (literally!) of fun for older children. One of the best indoor activities for a rainy day with shows, a planetarium, and IMAX. And the OKC Zoo, again one of the best in the nation, is next door.

This place is awsome for children. I love this area that has little pieces of iron that stick to a magnet. I love the kids playing in the playing area.

I would highly recommend this place for kids of all ages. We are talking about getting a monthly pass. Interactive stations and play areas will keep your young ones busy

We brought our troop here with several other troops across Oklahoma for an overnight experience. The staff was helpful in setting everything up, and they had several activities for the girls to do, including a Science Live show, the Planetarium, CuriouCity, and several one-night-only activities. Their standing exhibits are interesting and interactive, which was exciting for the girls. There is a train & aviation section tucked away in the back, behind the Science Live room, that we always seem to forget about. Security was on hand during our overnight visit as well.

Must see if you love science and or history. Perfect for kids of all ages. Handicapped access friendly. Great place to hang out for a few hours especially if the weather is gray. Snack bar and gift shop available. Make a plan to go. You'll be glad you did.

Was unable to catch the show but the main floor had lots of hand on things for the younger people. if the grandchildren were with me this would have been a place to visit.

Went with kids ranging from 1 to 4 and there were tons of areas where every age could play happily. We spent hours here and did not even see the entire first floor. Would love to go back and explore the second floor. Their favorite part was probably the CurioCity. So many opportunities for free and messy play.

This is by far one of the best science museums children’s in the country. The number of hands on intersections will keep children of all ages entertained and curious. The planetarium is one of our favorites. The zoo is right next door and you can do both in one day by slitting your time but it makes for a long day. They have activities for kids of all ages.

This is a great place to bring your kids, your classroom, or your inner child. Let yourself go and really experience all the exhibits, challenge yourself with the scavenger hunt, and expand your knowledge with a class or two.
They have a cafeteria, but it is a bit pricy, so pack a lunch.

We were very disappointed. My son is 11 love loves science. It’s more like a playland for kids. My child was not impressed and wanted to leave.

We used to take our kids here when they were younger and now that they've grown we still like to go ourselves! Lots of things to do... plenty of interactions with the exhibits. Also there is a planetarium and just love to sit and look at the stars in there. Just next door is the Oklahoma City Zoo. Great place for young and old!

Our daughter had so much fun exploring! We loved Tinker Town. My husband spent 30 minutes building a ball shoot with his brother while my father-in-law built a dinosaur with my daughter. We loved the indoor play grounds, but they are better for big kids.
If you are local buy the membership because you will be back!

We had an incredible experience at the Science Museum. We brought our 2 and 4 year old children and they had a blast. My wife and I also really enjoyed it. We could have spent all day just in the Curio City area and that is only one of many areas in the museum. My only regret is that we didn't have more time to see more!

Spent 3 hours here with our grandchildren. Could have spent a lot longer and still not done everything the kids wanted to do. Probably the best science museum we’ve been to.

They have very interesting activities for all ages. they have great shows and kids can really enjoy it, I will advice to come early and do the small kids activities first because get to crowded

The projector in the Planetarium quit working after 5 minutes into the show! We went solely to see the 30 minute showing. We asked for our money back and they indicated that we could get a gift card or passes to another show. I gave the employee my emai address for the passes and the Director never got back to me. My family and I were greatly disappointed.

Fun fun fun! My grandsons loved it here! Plenty of bright colors & room to roam! Lots of fun & educational exhibits the kids can touch & interact with the displays!

A lot of hands on activities, great option when the weather outside is less than ideal. Need a full day. Something for everyone to enjoy

The planetarium is advertised as being “world-class” and “the only planetarium of its caliber in North America.” It’s supposed to be “cutting edge technology,” but there is nothing about the “younger audience show” that would prove that. It is literally a children’s cartoon about a mouse getting a robot back to its spaceship from a junkyard. The show has no “realistic night sky, complete with maximum quality stars, nebulae, and clusters.” Such a let down when expecting “approximately 8 million detailed stars to recreate the Milky Way.” Don’t go here if you’re expecting a presentation about stars and space. It is a great disappointment and is NOT as advertised. You also have to pay the museum admission fee in order to see the planetarium program, which is included in the fee. We had big hopes of seeing “the only planetarium of its caliber in North America” and found any other planetarium is better than this one.

Been there several times. It's a great way to keep the kids busy for 2-4 hours with interactive science activities. Prices are comparable with other science museums nationwide. Come during the holiday season and will get a chance to tour the interior of fully restored 1929 Pullman parlor train car.

Took daughter here several times along with niece & nephew. Lots of stuff for the kids to do. Took daughter to the omnidome & watched a movie about panda bears. Really nice theater. Great place to take the kids.

This is an all day place. There is lots to see and do. Make sure to wait in line for the little city if you have young children. They had a blast and did not want to leave. I think this is one of the few places that caters to all children maybe up to and including the middle school ages. There was something for everyone and I had a good time too as well as the other adults in my group.

We visited the Science Museum Oklahoma with a 4 year old and 7 year old along. My mother, in her 60s joined us! What we thought would take an hour could have taken 2 full days. It was so much fun! I was also very pleased to see that everyone wore their masks!

This place impressed me so much. Going there as two adults, we gasped and laughed and explored and "wow"ed many times as we roamed this HUUUUGE museum. Sadly, the planetarium wasn't open due to maintenance... and despite THOROUGHLY enjoying this place for FOUR HOURS, we're pretty sure we didn't see all of it!! Definitely coming back and I 210% recommend this for kids AND adults!!

My children LOVED this museum!! In fact, we didn't even make it to the second floor because they loved the first one so much. The treehouse was a huge draw. It was amazing!!! I used to just pass through Oklahoma City, but now we have a stop that we will always be making!!!

Good for kids 14 and younger, lots of hands on and some learning even our 4 yr old Grandson found things to do. Starbucks inside 5 stars the
Food at cafe was 1/2 star, frozen warmed food, kids meal 6.50 w/ drink cheezeburger 6.50 pizza 6.50 chicken club 7.50 no drinks or fries all seperate.

Visited the science museum and was quite disapointed as I thought it would be like other cities science museums but this one was orientated to kids and activities.
My fault I suppose I should have researched the museum a little more then I would have known what I was visiting.
On a side note the space program exhibits were outstanding.

My twin 6 year olds LOVED this place. There were so many fun and interactive things to do, and plaques relate games and activities to science if your child is into the 'actual science' of it all. Mine just loved the climbing, jumping, experimenting, and the different experiences. Personally, I was impressed at the actual number of different activities they host!

Went with my older sons. I was afraid it was for younger kids however we had a great time. So many things to interact with for any age. It is quite big that had art, weather, obstacles, yard size games and so much more. Give plenty of time because there is so much to see and do.

The science museum is fun for all ages and is a great place to take the family. There are tons of interesting activities to do and plenty if science education.

It’s definiteyl a place for young children. Ten and under was our group. They had a blast. Year round fun.

Not as engaging as we thought it would be for the price that was paid. Staff was very polite and they had clean restrooms for the amount of people. I have nothing extraordinary to say about the place, unfortunately.

My son would go here everyday if I let him. He loves all the activities. I would have rated it a 5 except that they do not have good membership plans that allow you to include both parents. They should research other local attractions and revise it to be more family inclusive.

We drove 5 hours to visit a special Ray Harryhausen exhibit at the Science Museum, and between that exhibit and the rest of the museum, it was worth the drive. Plan to spend the day here because there is a ton to look at. Unlike some interactive museums, this one hardly ever feels cramped, but it can be very loud. We were there 5 hours; our 3 year old was overwhelmed by the end, and the 10 and 12 year olds could have stayed all day. I have only two complaints: 1) they need better museum maps with more detail, and 2) the museum store is sadly lacking. There was no merchandise directly related to the special exhibits; there was also very little in the way of Science Museum Oklahoma-branded items such as t-shirts. But those are quibbles; overall, this is an excellent museum and worth the price of admission.

This is a really great museum, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Lots of interactive exhibits that keep the kids entertained. I visited during the Bodies Exhibit, for a small extra fee I was able to tour the special exhibit - it was great.

My 4 year old grandson, his friend and their parents had a terrific day at the museum. The first time we took him, we didn’t make it upstairs before he was exhausted. This time we started upstairs and finished downstairs. This trip took about 4 hours for them to see everything. By the time we left he was worn out!

The Science Museum of Oklahoma is a great, interactive place for all ages. I purchase a family pass every year for my kids and grandkids, and we all love going there.
For those visiting with young children, I would advise not going during a school holiday (ex: spring break), where the place is over-run with children not well supervised.

This venue is large and multi faceted. We come here every summer while visiting family in OKC. My kids can easily enjoy 4-6 hours playing and exploring. It is not crowded during the week. Make sure to catch one of the Mad Scientist shows and if you have time you can watch a movie at the IMAX dome. The pictures below are from the Curiosity Museum area.

We do not live in Oklahoma, but we stop here any time we are going through Oklahoma City. Our kids really enjoy this museum. There are some of the standard displays and activities that you are going to see at other science museums, but there are just enough unique things that keep my kids wanting to come back. The segways are a hit, along with the tree house, and electricity activities. We went on a Sunday and it wasn't overly crowded. Some of the activities/displays were broken, but there were plenty of other things for them to do. The origami and fungi exhibits were interesting. My favorite part was the larger versions of games that you could play. Chess, checkers, battleship, etc. It just makes it more entertaining when you have to stand on the board to move the extra large game pieces. It actually got both of my kids to play chess!

Ride a segway, Look at stars... many fun things ...worth a couple of hours. Next to great zoo and casino. A fun day all within walking distance.

lots of wonderful exhibits...plenty of hands-on opportunities for the kids of all ages...play areas...Starbucks coffee...Science Live demos...worth the money spent...

You can easily spends hours at the museum, especially with small children. I went with two of my grandsons (ages 3 and 1 1/2) and they both enjoyed it. There are a lot of interactive things to do for the kids, as well as a few shows and exhibits. Places to eat are available. The location is good, it’s right next to the zoo. Would recommend both.

Our granddaughters (ages 9 and 7) spent 2 afternoons here and did not want to leave. There are plenty of hands on activities to entertain the children.

We love going here. My grandchildren soak up knowledge and have fun too. Of it is extremely fascinating for adults too. Well worth the trip.

Had a great time with friends at the science museum. There is allot to do and the information is very informative. Thought it was a bit pricey, but give your self a few hours

This is a great place for a family outing. A great place to visit on a cold or rainy day with lots to do for all ages.
Wonderful time.

We visited on a slow day, which still was fairly busy. After check in we really didn’t see any other staff except at the concession stand and one or two rides. The staff we did meet seemed rude and bored and obviously didn’t want to be there. There really needed to be some staff around to enforce rules and explain how some things worked. We found lots of items without instructions or labels. We aren’t sure if they were broken or we were using them incorrectly. I would suggest hiring senior citizens or other grandparent types to run the facility. As is, an expensive attraction is brought down to the level of a Chuck E Cheese atmosphere a
due to similarly poor staffing. After several encounters with wild unsupervised kids who wrecked their creations, my kids preferred to walk around the outdoor garden area awhile and then head home.

Great science museum. We’ve been here several times. My three kids 15,13,11 always have a good time. Reasonably priced. Fun for the day.

The kids we were with heard we were going to a “museum” and assumed it would be boring. Quite the contrary. Tons of interactive exhibits for both kids and adults. We planned on staying no more than two hours and were still there almost five hours later without hitting everything the museum had to offer. There is a cafe so our time there did include a brief interlude for lunch. I’m 35 and learned how to ride a Segway, play chess on a giant board and assisted in a Science Live explosion show. I had just as much fun as the kids we were with. Things we didn’t have a chance to do were the planetarium or outside gardens. Definitely stop here if you are in the vicinity but plan plenty of time.

We had a great time at the museum! Had an infant, 5 year old, and 8 year old plus 4 adults--everyone had a great time! There were A LOT of people (as in, we had a very, very hard time finding a parking spot!) but the museum didn't feel crowded, and we didn't have to wait in lines. We spent 3 hours and still didn't get to see everything! Highly recommend!

I love this place--always a fun place to take the kids... or even sometimes just a fun place to hang out with friends.

Really cool place that has something for all ages and a very varied experience. There is a ton of hands on stuff to do that will keep both you and your kids occupied.

This place is amazing! My boys (11&12) we totally entertained and didn’t complain once. The food was ok, the food prices a little much. The Science Live shows were great! We missed the Planetarium show, because there was so much to do! Definitely make this part of your trip!!

Been there several times, but, the grand kids always love it! We like the different displays but the children like the 'playground' area where they can swing, climb and run around. All in all it is a great place for a 3-4 hr romp.

This was the first time we've been here in years. Thought it would be a fun rainy day activity for our toddler. Well everyone else had the same idea! Haha! The place itself is interesting and has lots of different types of exhibits. You could probably spend a few hours if you went to every station and read the boards. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The other visitors not so much. There was a mask mandate for anyone 11 and older and this was not being enforced. More than 75% of the adults couldn't figure out how to wear their mask. Under your chin, right? Or was it only covering your mouth? Smh. There were a lot of disinfecting stations at least. The exhibits/activities were in need of being straightened and set back up, as well as cleaned up. Maybe if we had been there on a less busy day and not during a pandemic we would have enjoyed ourselves more. Therefore I could only give it an average rating.

We visited the Science museum 6 years ago and loved it just as much this time! It is a place that adults, teenagers and children can all enjoy. There are so many hands on exhibits which makes it so fun. There are planes and trains, space exhibits, even an area with oversized games such as battleship and connect 4. I highly recommend this Museum to anyone!

We went on a very busy day but my daughter still enjoyed it here. She is only one so most things are geared towards older kids. They do have a nice nursing/changing room in one of the play areas. We hope to have many more visits here over the years!

This is one of our favorite places to go and all of Oklahoma City. We have had a season pass for years because my twin girls love it so much. Every time we go, there’s something new but there’s also their same favorites. Also, since they redid the planetarium, it is truly been awesome. The new planetarium shows are so good, and the men and women who present them are so personable, friendly, and funny. Finally, we love seeing some of the history of aircraft that are on display there. Be it early planes all the way to space capsules, the science museum has something for everyone.

Food: 3/5
Service: 5/5
Cleanliness: 5/5
Decor & Style: 5/5
Very cool place in terms of activities they have. The exhibits are excellent and the planetarium I think is really fun!
From Space events and gadgets, mind games, legos, huge chess and checkers human boards, big building blocks you can build your own fort, there is endless things to do here.
My only small complaint is on the weekends when it gets too crowded so you can't play all the fun things, so I recommend going on a weekday so you don't have to wait to try all the fun.

We visited the Science Museum over Spring Break with our grandsons. Admission price is a bit steep for what you find, there. While they do have some nice displays and fun features geared towards children, keep in mind this is a museum. And it’s not an extensive one. Also, on the day we visited, the cafe was unable to sell hot food due to an issue with the health dept. this was unfortunate as we had planned to eat lunch there after checking their website.

We go as often as we can. It's such a fun place for kids but adults will enjoy it as well! Weekends can be busy but not too bad. We prefer going on a weekday though.

We had so much fun. We stayed from 9-5 and wished we had even more time. There are so many activities and kept the attention of my 6 and 3 year old. It is a must do if you are in OKC.

My wife and I received tickets from the Oklahoma Blood Institute. So went decided to go. We had an awesome time. Would recommend.

What a great place to take the family. We have been coming here for thirty years ( about 4 hours away) and it is still so much fun for our kids and now grandchildren. We spent from 10 a.m. and left at 3:30 because we were worn out. This is a destination.

We spent 5 hours here and I *think* we saw everything! Our 3 kids (7, 5, and 3) weren't bored once. The food at the food court was pretty good, as well. The shop left a little to be desired for me. Most things there I could have gotten at the local Wal-mart. I wish they would have had more science-related things to purchase or even souvenirs.

So much to do and it’s very interactive. The planetarium is a must. We spent 3 hours there and didn’t get to everything. Will definitely go back

This place is awesome! Whether you have kids or just want to explore as an adult, there are so many things to do, both hands-on and just learn. It is a little expensive, but it is worth going at least once!

The museum is great for the young and old, lots of activities for all ages. The cafe has really good food,

We took our kids and grandkids here for the second time. You can’t see it all in one visit. This is the best kid oriented Museum we have visited. So many amazing and fun activities for children of all ages.

First trip to the Science Museum in about 3 years. As always there were many updated exhibits and projects plus a bunch of old favorites, too! This is such a wonderful place for kids of all ages and for adults, as well. Almost everything is hands-on and participatory to the point where you really need at least 1 full day to try to take it all in. This place just never gets old!

We love all the exhibits and live shows and shows in the movie theater. awesome. thinking about buying family membership

You can spend more than one day with your kids in this wide-ranging and fun science exhibit. Next door to the equally outstanding OKC Zoo.

The Oklahoma Science Museum is an interactive museum designed for children, but there are activities for people of all ages. At the time of this post, admission for children 3-12 (under 3 years are free) and Seniors 65+ was $12.95. Adults (ages 13-64) are $15.95, but Oklahoma City has a tax rate of .08375%, so include that in your price. The hours and other museum information are on their website at sciencemuseumok.org. My grandson and I went on a school field trip and there was so much to do that we did not have time to see everything before we had to leave. We had so much fun! I would definitely recommend this destination for your family, but suggest going on a weekday, as weekends can be quite crowded.

This is an entire day of discovering and fun. My 8 and 4 enjoyed so much.
As an adult you are going to have a great experience, it’s not just for kids. Their expo shows are a real color/culture blast. We will be back soon!

Excellent place for kids. They have so much. We will definitely be back. Not only our child had a blast but we did as well. Highly recommend.

Segways are great fun. Kids love science live! Great indoor play ground. Something for everyone. Buy the annual pass ... you will go back again and again .

Five stars because of the vast amount of fun displays packed into this place, plus neat little bonuses we discovered.
1. You can bring your own a lunch inside & save money
2. Special exhibit about Dyslexia was the favorite for my 9 yr-old. Kudos to them for bringing attention to dyslexia!
3. You get to Re-create concepts of brilliant scientists (for instance, you can create a situation with low pressure and high pressure instead of just imagining it- Bernoulli principle)
4. They have a map of the museum identifying areas that may be loud or quiet for people with sensory issues
5. The planetarium and science shows are no extra charge
6. Parking is free
7. If you bring your own markers, there is no charge for the pendulum drawing
8. CurioCity can easily take an entire day by itself! What a unique spot designed where both adults and kids can play
9. This museum participates in the reciprocity “ASTC” passport program. That means a huge savings if you’re going to visit other museums
Spent 6 hours here with two 13 yr olds, a 9 yr old & 8 yr old. Each of them completely enjoyed it and learned a lot. We shut the place down and still didn’t see all of it. It’s huge with a lot to offer for all ages, including adults. Very strong weather emphasis & tons of fun weather exhibits. Detailed universe information in the planetarium.
Here is some of the educational curriculum that the displays can supplement:
-Speed, velocity, acceleration
-Newton’s 3 Laws of Motion
-Types of energy:
〰️mechanical
〰️light
〰️thermal
〰️electrical
〰️sound energy
-scientist info
-universe-including stars, nebulae, and galaxies;
-plate tectonics in relation to the formation of crustal features
-processes that led to the formation of sedimentary rocks and fossil fuels
-relationships, systems, and cycles within environments
-space exploration
I’m sure there are more displays that specifically correspond to curriculum, but like I said...we didn’t get through the entire museum during our 6 hour visit. We’ll have to go back!
Too much good stuff in this museum to give it any less than 5 stars. However, here are some negatives that I noted:
1. What you won’t find much information about is chemistry, but one part of the museum (called “Elements”, I believe) was closed for upgrades, so perhaps that’s where the chemistry info was located?
2. They start cleaning and closing bathrooms an hour before they actually close. So you might have a hard time finding an available bathroom on the way out.
3. A few displays weren’t labeled with information at all, so I wasn’t really certain what we were seeing in action for some of the displays.
4. I wish some of the displays were more detailed. Some of the explanations were almost too simplistic. I had to use google to find out more information to explain to the kids what the significance of some of the displays were
Overall, there are soooo many positives about this museum!! We will definitely go back several more times this year!

In two words, The Best! We haven’t gone to the SMO without feeling exhausted and happy. There are hours of fun to be had. We also always check out their perfectly enjoyable store. They have everything you need in a gift, or even something for yourself. Educational, fun and interactive, for any age. Jennifer and Sam, have done a brilliant job, having both ends of the spectrum in prices. We never leave without a bag of their latest books, t-shirts and toys!

Had a great time. A lot of interaction exhibits. Loved the science guy and his funny spin on science to make it fun. Fun for all ages.

There are plenty of activities to do - we seem to find something new each time we go. Liked all the Christmas trees.

Love this place! Hans on fun for all ages of kids and their parents! There seems to be something for everyone. I send a family pass to my family members who have 7 year old twin boys. They love it as much as I do. They can visit often and stay the day or just a few hours. It’s a perfect gift for a family with active children.

This one wore me out, but my kid loved it and it was really great. This was by far the best attraction that I visited in OKC.

We spent right around 3 hours there, and we easily could have spent more had we not needed to head back home. My 5 & 11 year olds really enjoyed it, as did my husband and I. We would definitely go back if we are ever back in OKC.

A really fun place to learn and remind yourself about science and actually physics. Play with trains, planes, light, color, sound, leverage etc. etc. If you have kids over 8, bring them and enjoyu

There are all types of exhibits covering the full gamut of science from A to Z. I strongly recommend a visit. Be prepared to spend several hours here.

You can spend many hours here just exploring! Adults will have as much fun as the kids. The exhibits change often so you can return and see new things.

Great for kids, and can spend the entire day here. Lots to do with activities scheduled out the day. Family enjoy the creatures and how alive they look. Time ran out but will be back soon again to see the rest of the museum.

What a great place for anyone 5 - 65. Love all the science and watching kids and adults learn. It is a people watchers paradise.

It genuinely provides children with the chance to learn in a fun environment, well done to all involved I highly recommend this attraction.

So many exhibits and fun things to do. We took our teenager as well and she had a lot of fun. Check out the science show and ride the Segway - Tina of fun to be had here.

We had been here before and my kids really loved it. So on this trip back to OKC we naturally wanted to do it again. There were a few different activities than the last time (5 yrs ago) so that was cool. However... there were sooooo many kids there - tons of field trips, plus other random visitors. We ended up leaving inside of an hour (total waste of money!) because it was hot inside and so crowded that the kids couldn’t even navigate. We waited in line for a half hour for 3 minutes on the Segway - not worth it.

Traveling with 4 adults 30-58, and 3 children 5-12, and we all found fun things to do. Our only problem was time, they close at 5pm, get there early! All hands on and lots of it!

One of the best places we visited! They have a whole floor of giant board games and toys like legos. Everything hands on and fun for kids or adults w kids hearts. The staff was super friendly too!

Took our grandkids for a day. It has so much more to offer than in the past! We were there all day and still didn't see it all. Your kids will stay busy all day and learn much in the process. Great stuff for adults as well.

Very nice science museum. Loved the bed of nails! The people were also very customer friendly. They had a great way of assigning tickets to popular shows to give everyone a good chance to see the show.

This is a little expensive to take the entire family so I would suggest purchasing a family pass which allows unlimited visits for six people. You can purchase them at the science Museum or Mathis brothers furniture has a discount on them if you buy in September. Pack a lunch but plan to spend the entire day! Lots and lots of fun and amazing things for kids and adults! The kids will sleep well when you leave😊

This is a great museum for all ages. We are members, which includes entrance to other museums across the country. My children love STEM and this place delivers in a safe and helpful environment.

We have a annual pass and use it all the time. My 4, almost 5 year old loves coming as much as possible. His favorite places is Curiocity and the gymnastics area. Great way to get some extra energy out!

Don't miss this spot either. Oklahoma City has several wonderful overlooked museums, this is one. Small City with much to offer.

This is not at all what I expectred when visisitng a SCIENCE museum. It's a giant kids museum, It is interactive but it seems to be for children 10 and younger. Maybe a little bit older if they have a strong interest in science. I went with my 28 yr old girlfriend thinking I would get to see space exhibits and great Dino diarama's but to no avail. There were about 300 young kids running around. Probably great for kids but definitely not for ADULTS. Grown-ups save your money.

The Science Museum never fails to impress me. We take our grandson here every summer, he asks to go! They have something new every year and seem to always know the favorite things kids love and keep them. The place is clean, lots of staff and good entertainment for a minimum of 4-5 hours.
Highly recommend.

The science museum in okc is great. Took the kids for what I figured would be a way to kill a couple hours. Turns out we spent 4+ hours there and I believe we could’ve spent at least another hour. The kids loved it. We enjoyed it a great deal. There are too many things to list. My favorite was the space section. Very interesting reads with all the exhibits. Well done okc!

Visited Oklahoma for my sons military graduation, ended our day at the science museum...we all wish we would've started our day there. I have 3 kids, 18, 11 and 9 and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time together there. So many interesting activities to do, all while learning about the amazing world we live in. It's a great place to spend the day or multiple days if you live in the area. Great hands on activities, very enjoyable and educational!

Wow, so glad we made the decision to visit this incredible science museum. We came with my sons (13 & 11) and daughter (almost 9). I wish my 16 yo daughter would have been there too! All of us found this to be one of our favorites stops in the area. The facility is huge. We visited during the week while out on vacation and it was nearly empty. They said they can get very busy on weekends and especially holidays.
The kids couldn't hold back their excitement as they jumped from one exhibit to the next. Mom and Dad got left behind several times as we tinkered around.
We stopped at the coffee shop down stairs which served Starbucks. It was quite expensive. As also had pizza and hot dogs at their restaurant. Prices were fair. They had gluten free pizza that my gluten intolerant family members loved! They had special handling procedures in place to try and avoid cross contamination.
We went to the zoo next door as well which was very nice. If you have to chose between the two my kids would probably choose the science museum. Enjoy!

My grandchildren absolutely love the science museum!!! Every time they visit this awesome place they don’t want to leave!!! There is so much to see and do!!! We visit weekly in the summer!!! My daughter buys a pass that allows us to go anytime we want to during the summer!!! Fun for all ages!!!

Wonderful museum with great space and aviation exhibits. The outside gardens were a added and unexpected bonus. Plenty of interactive displays for kids and all ages. The aviation display is outstanding and a must for any aviation enthusiast. A German V-2 rocket, various space suits and a Saturn rocket motor dominate the space exhibit.

We went as two adults and a 17 year old.
The museum was interesting, and had a number of hands on displays. However, there were a large number of displays and play areas better suited for younger children. I think we were the only family in there without a kid under 10. It seemed some families were there for the indoor play areas.
The planetarium film about Apollo 11 was interesting, and I enjoyed the dyslexia exhibit.

I have been to quite a few children's and science museums; this is one of the best I've visited. There is something here for everyone here! My son loves watching the model trains, my daughter got a huge kick out of riding the segway. They both enjoyed the weather area, and were able to experience 60 mph winds in the tornado tube. My favorite part is the planetarium, which was recently updated! There are multiple showings throughout the day in the planetarium, but my preference is the Journey Through the Cosmos, which changes at each visit based on the viewers interests. There is a plethora of hands-on activities at the museum; plenty of things to do to keep the kids moving. There are multiple play areas for children of all ages, lots of things to climb on, explore, and get in to. There is just so much to see and do. Your kids will have so much fun learning, and the best part is they won't know they are learning! Also, for nursing moms, there are a few nursing nooks.

We had a good time here. Some of the exhibits in the older part didn't work but it was still fun and worth the trip.

Pretty neat place to visit but it was twice as expensive as the zoo. If I had my pick between the two I would choose the zoo. The history of the bicycle was pretty interesting though.

The Science Museum, or Omniplex as it was originally named, is a great place for indoor fun on a rainy day. There are plenty of interactive exhibits for children and enough learning material available to make it interesting for adults.

This place is so much fun and you will need 3-4 hours to do it. Lots of hands on for the kids. My boys loved to ride the segways. We got there right when they opened and the crowd didn’t come til lunch time. Would love to go back

This is absolutely amazing. Not your average science museum with the same old stuff. We didn't do everything and we spent 4 hours there. It is well worth the money. The only warning- don't go expecting good food. It was horrible and greasy, and we've eaten several zoo and museum foods this was the worst we've had. Otherwise, excellent!!

Im a big science nerd and my wife loves going here. There is things to do for all ages. I like how they made learning fun and interactive. The lady who ran the science show was super nice and the kids seemed to like it.

Our grandkids will stay for hours and still not want to leave. CURIOUSCITY has things for kids of all ages and adults too.

Soon the title will be lost. Generations have gone and gone. SMO is a great and ever evolving destination for fun and learning. Once the planetarium is updated this will be a must visit in OKC.

As the title says, this is a science museum / playground aimed mostly for elementary school age children. We spent the afternoon here with children ages 6, 4, and 3. They enjoyed climbing the tree house, doing art, flying paper airplanes, lego blocks, and shooting rubber balls in the air. The adults enjoyed the airplane and space exhibits. I would bring children here, especially when the weather is too nasty for them to spend much time outdoors. I would probably not visit again if the group consisted only of adults.

Walk in the door and you will hear and feel the excitement inside the science museum. There are so many hands on exhibits and activities for kids and their parents or grandparents to enjoy. My wife and I were so impressed that we bought a family membership so we can take our grandchildren there when they are in town. There are activities for younger and older children. There is a cafeteria in the museum that is reasonably priced and pretty good food. There is a lot to see and do and it is better, in my opinion, if you spread it out over two or three visits. It is a lot to take in in a single day, not to mention exhausting. I would highly recommend this place. It is conveniently located next door to the OKC Zoo.

Good place to take children or grand children. Lots of fun activities lots of interaction with practical science. It kinda hard to tell who enjoys coming here most me or them. I bring them along so I have excuse to be here.

I am not a tiny person anymore, I still play with all the examples, demostrations, and experiments that are on display and availaible for you to play with. I spent 3 hours in it and missed 30% of the museum. I went to the planetarium and was a bit disappointed. I loved how many experiments were there. The shear size of kids play areas boggled my mind. I will go again as often as I can.

There is so much to do here. I am fascinated playing with the air things and the tornado room is awesome. You can let the kids go and spend hours climbing in the kids area. I love visiting and going with our school and church field trips. They even have a overnight adventure watching the stars. I plan on dragging a grandchild to see that.

My family gets our kids a pass here instead of more toys for Christmas. We love visiting all the time without feeling like we have to stay and view everything to get our money's worth. They do a decent job of updating some of the exhibits so there's new stuff about every time we go (probably once a month or so). Kind of expensive if you don't have a pass. Their food isn't bad either.

My family haven't been here in about a year so they have remodeled and added a lot. My five year old great nephew came along on this trip and this was his first time. He enjoyed himself to the fullest and fell asleep before we left the parking lot. I enjoyed the additions and even climbed a little myself. Will definitely go again.

We love our visits to the science museum. I've taken several groups from school and girl scouts, and my own children and grandchildren. There is always something for everyone to enjoy. I was a little worried about taking young toddlers, but the play areas designated for them was so much fun. It never seems over crowded or too loud or over stimulating for the little ones. The big kids always enjoy the science exhibits as almost everything is hands-on. You could easily make a whole day out your visit.

If you have kids and are in OKC you must take them, fun time always! It is always being updated or changed. Staff are great especially in the Planetarium.

I took all five of my grandsons on 8/2. We had an energetic interactive full of creative experiences afternoon together. They are aged 8, 6, 6, and 4. We made memories that punctuated this summer’s tines together with a 😁

There were 5 of us ranging in age from our 40's to 60+ that went and we all had a blast here! I paid the extra money to see "Bodies Revealed" which is there until October 29, 2017. As a nurse I found it absolutely fascinating and wish I had seen some of these displays when I was in nursing school (sure would have made some things easier to understand)! Some tried out the Segway, some laid on the bed of nails, I visited the planetarium. In short, we adults had a great time and would highly recommend it for all ages. Be sure and use your smart phone to locate coupons too!

Wonderful Museum for all ages. It takes a few hours to get thru all the exhibits.
Best to go dearing the week. Weekends are very busy.

What an incredible hands-on experience! During our visit to Oklahoma City, we were looking for an outing that would interest our 8-year old. She was in heaven! After a 3+ hour visit, she still wasn’t ready to leave. The food in the cafeteria was also good and surprisingly well priced. I strongly recommend a visit or two or three. If we lived closer, we would buy a membership, because it is that good.

Our 6 year old loved the Science Museum. There were so many things to do, we couldn't get through all of it in the 5 hours we were there. They had a special event for Earth Day in the garden area dealing with pollinators, which my daughter had a great time with. The science show was also a hit.

We spent a half day here with our young daughter on a trip in OKC. Could've spent a whole day--she had a blast and we didn't even see everything. Lots to do for younger and older kids. Staff was friendly. Only negative is the entire place is open and very noisy.

My kids absolutely loved the science museum. We spent nothing less than 4 hours there and are looking forward to returning!!!!!

Hundreds of hands on science experiments, interactive play areas, planetarium, and Omnillex Theatre. New exhibits every year, so you dont see the same thing. Perfect educational family experience.

My kids even in their teens had so much fun here,me aswell !! Well organized and suitable for kids to make them learn in fun way. What a highlight !

I have taken my grandkids here and there is always something for all ages to do. We leave cell phones in the car and just enjoy all the activities offered

I took my 7 year old daughter and a family friends daughter who is 9 they both love science so they loved this you could spend about 2-3 hours in here that’s how long we spent it determines on what your kids want to see perfect for kids who love to learn!

This was so fun! We went with my daughter’s 1st grade class. We were there from 10a-3p and still only saw about 1/2 of the fun activities to do!
The Segway was fun. The science show was awesome. They loved all the different playgrounds. The water activities were so cool and awesome.
Would highly recommend to spend all day adventuring with the family.
Bring your own lunch to save $$. Parking is free. They do have a concession stand and Starbucks!
The pics don’t do it justice. The kids had a blast. Will be coming back!!

I thoroughly enjoyed myself at the science center. Great for kids, lots of interactive exhibits. Also a wide variety of things to see: planes, space, trains color and light, interactive spaces. I enjoyed the live show about liquid nitrogen. The presentation was very engaging. My visit was about 3 hours and I went right after I visited the zoo, which was great too,

I went with my 14 year old son and there was something to do for everyone! We enjoyed the weather discovery area the best. Wish we could have made a planetarium show but we were short on time.

This museum exceeded my expectations. There was so much to see and do. We went to one of the Science Live demonstrations and my 7 year old said that was his favorite part of our trip. We were there almost 4 hours and still probably didn’t see everything, so plan to spend a good chunk of time if you go!

My boys (9 & 10), my mom and I visited the museum and had a blast! We stayed all day 9am-5pm and didn’t see everything! There are so many different attractions. The shows are great and the show staff is hilarious! Tickets are a great price. All shows and planetarium are all included. Highly recommended!

This is a great place! My husband, 7 year old, 4 year old and I had a blast here. We spent at least 3 hours here and I don't think we got to everything. The campus was packed (but the larger crowd was at the zoo) and we had to park across the street in the overflow lot.

What a wonderful place to take your grandchildren. Many hands on things to do. Plus educational as well. I think one could stay from opening to close, and still not do everything they have to offer. When it is all indoors, no worries with not being able to play. Food and drinks available makes it a complete package of fun.

This place. Is amazing. We spent 7 hrs here. Brought our own lunch but food is there. Huge! Puts Perot museum in Dallas to shame.

New name and quite a bit of new stuff. More science oriented than previously with lots of hands on things for kids and adults.

Spent 6 hours and still didn't see it all. A little pricey but very worth the price. The money goes into the attractions and there is something for everyone and every age. We were fortunate to see Bodies Revealed at an extra cost. Educational and very interesting. Have been many times and each time we go there are new attractions. Great place to eat lunch or have snacks. Very reasonably priced.

Great place for families to go, play and learn. Great for all ages. So much to do. So many upgrades. If you homeschool or need a good learning refresh during the summer. Check this place out.

My family had a great time at the science museum. This museum is definitely geared towards kids. It has an awesome climb jungle gym area for the kids. So much hands on for every age. I would definitely recommend visiting if you are in town.

We went with our young grandchildren, ages three and five. We spent about 2 1/2 hours there. They wanted to stay longer. Highly recommend this hands-on science Museum for children of all ages. We will definitely go back!

This museum has so much to offer! The two story climbing area can accommodate guests ages 4 & up (including adults)! One of the cleanest museums that we have visited & all the employees were helpful and pleasant. We will visit again when back in the area!

Living in London I didn’t have high expectations when visiting the OKC Science Museum with my 15 month old and extended family in Oklahoma, but it was fantastic! The facility is huge and had something to offer everyone in our large group, from our 15 month old son, to our 72 year old great aunt. Definitely worth a visit, you won’t be disappointed!

This place was so cool. All kinds of interesting displays and very interactive! Must see! Great place for kids.

So many great activities and learning experiences for children! We take our 3 year old grandson often and he loves it! I would say the concessions are way over priced though.....just like anywhere else.

Took the grandkids (13,3,1) and all had a great time. So many cool and interesting things from space to weather to mechanics. Cool way to learn while having fun.

My husband, 13-year-old son and I had a blast. Fun light experiments, sound experiments, planetarium, plane exhibit, weather experiments, a real, cool, old train car inside. Great science-focused gift shop. A fun way to spend half a day!

I have my NBCT in Early Childhood Education. I love the Early Childhood section of the Science Museum. Our grandson and my husband had such a fun time!! It's for kids of all ages!!!

My husband and I stopped by here while we were in OKC.. it is an incredible place. It is geared more towards children but there is plenty to keep adults busy too!! Someday when we have grandkids we will definitely be taking them there!

This place is a science lovers dream! As a scientist on biology myself, I really enjoyed this museum and so did my 4th-grade class. There are a lot of fun and educational activities to do ranging from astrology to marine biology!

Formerly known as "The Omniplex", this museum has been open for DECADES, and is still going strong today. Would be a good place to spend a half day or a stop on a roadtrip.

Took grandsons, who are 2 and 4. They both loved it. There is something there for every age. Staff is very helpful as well.

It is a great place for the whole family. All ages will enjoy the exhibits and the adventure area is great.

Used our local Museum's reciprocal program to get into this Museum for Free. This place is AMAZING! We had 2 adults and kids ages 15, 10, 7, 4, and 3 with us and it was just fabulous. We literally stayed there all day and no one every got bored, and I don't think we saw every single area they had. Honestly, my young kids could have played in Curios City for a full day and not gotten bored. This was one of the top Science Centers I have ever been too. They had so much learning for the older kids with Science principals in the main hall which I always find fascinating as well. Would definitely go again.

I purchase an annual membership to SMO in order to take my grandchildren for hands on science experiences. There is something to do for every age group. My grandchildren range in age from 1 year to 12 years. I have taken multiple ages at the same time, and all of them have a great time. LOTS of hands on, presentations are scheduled and children can learn math and science concepts in a fun environment. Food is a little pricey, but nothing more than I would expect to spend at this type of facility. You are able to bring in outside food and eat in one of the dining areas. There are plenty of bathroom facilities, drinking fountains, etc. Plan to thoroughly cover a specific area and then a different area on the next. It is too much to attempt in a single day. This science museum is a partner with other facilities across the U.S. If you are visiting, and belong to a science museum in your area, do research to see if you can get in free at this facility. We were able to enter the Shepherd/McAuliffe museum in New Hampshire as part of the program.

I have purchased science museum passes worth ASTC benefits for years and make use of them when traveling with my children. I visited with my daughter and we lived it! There was a lot to see and do. Pit favorite was the opportunity to ride a Segway. We both really enjoyed that. They have a lot of displays assimilate to other museums but done more attractively. Will definitely visit again.

Very nice informative and interesting place, super great place for children, very child friendly and educational experience, interesting for adualts as well but geared more for children.

We buy a pass every year. My kids love it and it keeps them busy for several hours so I do not have to hear about them being bored.

They rotate interactive displays through so a membership is good to get. We go here when the weather is bad for an all day fun experience.

Great place for learning and fun! They are constantly changing exhibits and making the museum better!

We recently went on a school field trip and we enjoyed it. We’ve been to other Science museums in other cities and they are pretty much all the same, just with different exhibits, all are great and all are great experiences for kids! They do a good job of organizing the field trips and even with multiple schools being there it never felt overcrowded. The only suggestion I would have is for more seating for parents/adults. There were some areas that had plenty of seats while other areas had none or very few. For example, the open area at the top of the stairs, and the area where you first enter the gymnastics area, both areas I found myself walking around looking for somewhere to sit.
Highly recommend visiting here!

My wife, myself, our 6 and 7 year old bought yearly passes and we go all the time. They love the experiments, and the train exhibit. I can't get them out of there once we go in. The new play area that was completed in early 2016 is incredible with a music section, theatre place, fossil digging, water works area, and a place with a skateboard ramp and magnetic wheel blocks to play with. We spend hours there each time we go.

Looking for something to do with kids especially on a cold day. This place is so much fun for adults and kids. While they are playing and having fun they are learning. My kids love this place.

Fantastic value for the family. We spent three hours here and could have stayed another hour if we weren't pressed for time. Lots of interactive things for the little kids to do, though a few were not operational while we were there. Make sure you check times for the science show and the planetarium. Both are well-worth your time!

This is definitely more exciting for younger kids under 5. Many of the exhibits were closed, but what was opened was cool.

We had a hot Sunday afternoon in store so thought this would be a good activity for our 2 yr old. Wow! It cost us nearly $80 for the adults (kids under 3 are free) but we also receive a military discount.
We arrived around 230. It was crowded but never do badly that we had to wait long for an exhibit to clear. The variety of activies is expansive. We didn't cover the entire first floor. The restrooms were clean and the snack shop wasn't overly pricey. We will absolutely take kids back to this museum.

I really like this museum. There are so many things for children to do and look at! My only concern is that I wish they had more staff monitoring the play areas! The giant green tree house slide needs an employee at the top to make sure everyone goes down safely!! The cafe had good food and the prices were reasonable too! Nice place to have indoor fun with children!

Great if your 13 and younger. Kids have a great time here. If you're an adult sans children be prepared to be bored. The food was selection was superior.

Took a school group to the museum. We were greeted by a staff member who was very pleasant and arranged to bring the food in and arrange a time for our group eat. There are so many wonderful things to do and see at the museum. I decided to have some lunch so I ordered a cheeseburger combo. I could not believe what was served to me. The burger was hand made and maybe 2.5 oz. the French fries were black and cooked in heavy greasy. They were so greasy that I could not eat them.
In summary, the children had a wonderful day. They brought their own food. I could never recommend the food served at this facility

This museum is like a cross between the science museum and national museum of play. I wish I lived close enough to bring my grand kids. They would have had a blast.

This was my favorite place to visit while in OKC. So much interesting information to learn and lots of cool exhibits, makes this place a lot of fun for all ages! There was a really sweet planetarium that I got to see with my boyfriend, the man hosting that was very good with the kids and very knowledgeable about space! I would highly recommend visiting this place if you’re ever in OKC!
Absolutely a wonderful place for all ages. So much to see and hands on to get everyone interested and interacting with science. Admission is a bite expensive especially with a big family but so worth it. You can take a packed lunch in so this helped out tremendously. We took our wagon for our two year old and packed pb&j’s with snacks. It’s so big and spread it it wasn’t overwhelming packed to where you couldn’t enjoy it. Our kids ages ranged from 2-15 and they all loved it. The upstairs area is all activities to get families involved if it’s a game of checkers, chest to running races or a game of tug a war. Absolutely enjoyed every moment. Take your time to look at everything and explain the concept to your little ones. Once I explained things to my 6&10 year old they where intrigued. A must see and highly recommend it.
