We were in the area for another winery event and had some time following that event to visit a different winery. I downloaded the directions from the web and highly recommend doing so to find your way out to the winery.
Lovely sculpture garden is enjoyable to spend some time wandering around! The wine is very good and worth tasting! It was a Saturday afternoon, there was music on the patio! We enjoyed our visit!

Yummy Viognier goes great with the heat. The sculptures and garden are both lovely. It’s was a wonderful experience and so so relaxing.

We went on a very cold day, so I didn't get the full experience of strolling the gardens and lingering at each of the gorgeous sculptures, but I am sure this would be a fun visit in warmer weather, even if you don't want to wine taste. The sculptures and the metalwork on the the gates and other fixtures around the place are worth a visit on their own. There's also a sort of playground with picnic tables, a bocce court, and all-weather ping pong, foosball, and chess/checkers tables -- and the biggest dang wind chimes and kaleidoscope I ever saw. Oh and of course there's wine too, in a beautiful tasting room. They also have music and other events -- the schedule is on their website. I definitely plan to go back when it's warmer, and have a picnic!

Best winery experience in Paso! The winemaker and staff are extraordinary, there is incredible weekend entertainment, and the sculptures spread throughout the property are phenomenal! This is a must when in Paso.

One of our favorite wineries of the day....well worth $10 for 8 different wines. Most delicious wine and friendly staff. Dale was excellent! Gardens were beautiful...would definitely go back again and again.

It is almost like strolling through a museum: the grounds are fantastic and the sculptures are really unique and fun

I dont drink wine, but this was still worth a visit. Interesting art, interesting features, live music, food truck. Its free for non drinkers

We loved sculpterra and joined the club. The art made this a great visit. Ask for Donna or randi. We had a very enjoyable time.

First of all, this winery is a smorgasbord for the senses. We arrived 10 minutes before they officially opened. We walked around the front garden, interacted with the beautiful cats, and took in the surroundings! I was already in love with it. Then Kat opened the doors and admitted into the beautiful tasting room. I love all the items! They displayed a wide variety of artists on the walls. Kat was a great host and showed us a wide variety of wines. Keep in mind that we got there right before they opened. She was so great ! We took our samples around the winery. While walking around, we saw a huge history wall! What a wonderful tribute to the history of Paso Robles! This history wall talked about the changes to the area and it really made me feel the connection this winery had with the location. Also Kat discussed under ground water sources for the area. I really loved that history wall. Walking around, we saw that this amazing winery also supports medical missions around the world. We spoke with Kat who explained that a portion of the proceeds goes to the medical missions. These amazing owners provide free medical care to people around the world! Another wall is a tribute to Mexican-Americans! Seriously?! Could I love this place any more?!!!! Kat shared the history of the vines. We had such a great time wine tasting and walking around the art. Imagine our surprise when we were about to leave a review and found the most rude and ignorant comments about the history wall, the charity work that this winery supports, etc.
One commenter was shocked she did not have their own sommelier, another complained that she was not provided a fresh glass with each wine sample. We have been to a LOT of wine tastings all over the world. Unless you order a tasting flight when you get all the samples at one time, you are not getting a new glass for every sample in most places. Another person was offended by the art and jewelry. Really?!!!

Found this great winery only by on line reviews. They don't pay for advertisements in the local brochures. The visit was well worth the the time. I've been visiting the wineries in Paso for some time and I belong to few clubs. Over the years I've stayed away from the East 46 wineries. I enjoy the Westside for it's smaller and more unique wineries. I find it to be typically more charming too. Sculpterra totally changed my perception. A beautiful winery wedged in between a ridge line of rolling hills. It has a beautifully maintained garden area for great places to relax, bring a lunch and open a bottle of wine. Hector and Martha were wonderful host and and answered all of our curious questions on the wine and art. Oh, and yes the wine was wonderful too. Our favorites were the Heroe Viognier, the Primitivo, the new release of the 2014 Cabernet Saivignon and a beautifully structured Primitivo Port. We liked this place and their wines so much, we join the club and bought a case. You won't be disappointed!

We didn't sample the wine, but certainly enjoyed wandering around the grounds taking in the sculpture, listening to music. Lots of people there on picnics and a great vibe. Can't comment on the wine, but the site has a great energy and vibe.

The sculpture garden setting and the Sunday afternoon music by producer Steve Key make this a must for any wine tasting tour.

The winery has a unique collection of sculptures all around the entryway and the winery. That is fairly unique, only saw that once before in Napa. There was music, wine tasting of course, and a great vibe. We went just before New Year's Eve, so it was fairly crowded, but that did not detract from the visit.
We would recommend it to any wine lover.

Great wine, amazing sculptures but it was the attention to detail in all areas of the tasting rooms that truly blew us away. Make sure you reserve your tasting, they book up quickly.

The setting for this winery is absolutely beautiful, and the wine is above average. However, our server seemed rather indifferent to our attendance and didn't provide much information about the wine itself. Probably would have enjoyed this more with a friendlier staff person.

Sculpterra is an under-hyped hidden gem, unknown to many locals. This site offers an extraordinary combination of tastings, wines, gardens, play area for children, art and sculpture: all surprisingly excellent. So your visit can fascinate a range of ages and interests, unlike other Paso Robles wineries. Plan to spend adequate time to wander about and appreciate during clement weather.
Sculpterra is a bit out-of-town to the East--well worth the travel. Navigate with your GPS.
The winery has frequent special events; see their website. A good choice for picnicking; stop at Albertson's super market along the way from town.

Sculpterra Winery is a gorgeous place to visit, and their wine is solid. The grounds are adorned with stylistic animal sculptures and a manicured garden. The tasting room is elegant, and the staff is friendly.
One odd element, though… Normally, we purchase wine at each winery we visit, and Sculpterra is no exception. We bought 2 bottles of wine, glasses, and coasters. Typically, wineries in Paso will comp the tasting fees if you make a purchase (sometimes one bottle, other times 2), but Sculperra did not comp our tasting fee. Why?
We enjoyed our time at Sculpterra, but our good time was tempered with an additional tasting fee which every other winery (we've visited 14 in the past 2 years) has waived with a purchase. Odd.

We went on a Sunday for wine tasting. We reserved in advance. Service was good.
We liked all their red wines. We purchased some.
On Sundays they also have live music.
And of course, like all, we loved their large metal sculptures. We also liked their art work in the wine tasting room

When wine tasting with kids, the estate is as important as the wine. In Cape Town we spoiled. In Cali we realized its more challenging. But Sculpterra has beautiful gardens with interesting sculptures and several activities for the kids. Kept them busy and allowed us to taste. Wines were ok. We enjoyed the primitivo and the syrah. Staff was very kind. We picked up a few for the road...

Excellent cellar with excellent wines! Beautiful location and very kind and helpful staff! Top quality/price ratio! Convenient parking!

The grounds were beautiful--filled with lovely sculptures! We visited last year and were amazed by the sculptures, but not taken by the wine. This year, both were great......they have really upped the quality of the wine.

Absolutely loved the sculpture garden and creativity of the work. Wines were great and a few made it home with us. I would highly recommend this winery if you are in the area.

Lovely grounds, and tasting room is well presented.
Large selection of wines to taste, and server is most gracious about sampling anything you want.
If you are a guest of some local B & B's or on the Backroads tour, the tasting fee is waived.

Very beautiful winery. They have a garden where you can walk through it and see beautiful sculptures.
I did not have the wine tasting, but I had a couple of wine by the garden, it was so good, so calm. Love it.
It is a must see place if you were in Paso Robles. Worth it.

The grounds at Sculpterra are absolutely beautiful. It is meticulously landscaped with fabulous sculptures incorporated into the landscaping. There are several sitting areas outside. The tasting room is amazing and the bartenders are very knowledgable about the wines and proper wine tasting techniques. They have a nice selection of both white and red wines.

We loved our time at a Scupterra Winery. The gardens were beautiful with amazing sculptures in them. The wine was great and our hostess was so much fun. It was an out of the way (closed road, gravel road) place to get to for us, but so worth the adventure . The wines were great and I just LOVED the Cabernet Franc..Brought home a bottle and it did not disappoint.

We stopped at Sculpterra Sunday based on other TripAdvisor reviews. Too bad we did not know there is music on the patio Sunday from 1 to 4. I think the tasting included 8 wines for $10 (sharing no problem). The wines were very pleasant; we picked up a Viognier and a Rose. The wine attendant/server was very friendly and very informative about the wine, Winery history, and sculptures. A stroll around the gardens is a delight. Beautiful and unique sculptures. This is an outdoor space meant to spend a lazy afternoon. We will be back to do that.

The sculpture garden is gorgeous. The vineyards frame them gloriously. I bought and shipped 4 bottles of wine after a delightful tasting primarily as a “thank you” for the experience of art and the beauty of the day.

Beautiful winery both on the grounds and inside. The metal sculpture is beautiful. The wines are a little more unusual varieties and the are moderately priced. They did not represent as many wines as I would have expected. The wine we bought was a wonderful red blend and is one of their signature wines, very good.

It’s not a knock on the wine or the winery. I like smaller venues. I attempted to go here for the experience but it was crowded and the staff appeared overwhelmed. After waiting in line for almost ten minutes I turned around and left. If you like grand properties and can tolerate the crowds this might be for you. Can’t speak to the wine. Found some spectacular wines in much more comfortable and intimate settings in the area.

Had a great time with a group of about 25 members of my cycling club at Sculpterra recently, and I highly recommend a visit and tasting. Although they couldn't guarantee us a picnic table, we were delighted that Darren (the Tasting Room Ass't Manager) was able to set aside a lovely table for us outdoors, where we had a great lunch that most of us purchased at the on-site food truck (which is usually there on weekends) and listened to the Joy Bonner Band (there's free music on certain weekends; check the website) for a while before our wine tasting, which they set up for us in a private area of the front courtyard, surrounded by some of the great sculptures. It was definitely a 5-star experience and the perfect way to end a fabulous weekend in Paso Roble!!

Very familiar with Sonoma and Napa wineries, Sculpterra is obviously unique. The tasting room, grounds and wines are first rate, and the sculptures of John Jagger and Dale Evers are beautiful, delightful, surprising, majestic and very accessible to move around, examine, even play with -- there are unique sculptured chimes, and a marble ping-pong table and foosball table. We bought some wine and enjoyed the wonderful patio on a sunny January afternoon.

My tour group loved the sculptures on the grounds. The lady who was our tasting guide was excellent but the red wines were served too warm, something that was out of her control. Serving temperature is critical for maximizing the flavor of the wine. The tasting was outside so the reds need to be saved at 60-65 degrees, not 70+ degrees that was our experience. Addess this issue and I would have given this venue a 5 star rating.

Trish and I have spent almost a week and a half here in the Paso area tasting wines and experiencing the fruits of the area. We almost missed Sculptua here on our last day. Part of me is glad that we did save it for last as this was the absolute best experience, hands down.
The wines are exceptional, yes, but there is a lot more here. The ongoing saga of this winery is one to be learned and experienced.
Of course, much depends on the host at these venues and in this case our hostess, Randi, was unbelievable!! Knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate in what she does...always so highly appreciated.
We will be back!!!

The sculptures are unbelievable. They are unique and truly outstanding. The layout of the buildings and topography most magnificent. Lovely gift shop. Wine-tasting wonderful, with many selections. A fun place to visit and partake of the "grape!"

Another excellent winery in Paso Robles. Sunday afternoon concerts, superb sculptures and paintings. Superior wine.

First off, I joined their wine club (again) today. (We had to stop for a while due to a move).
Secondly, their tasting bar is a great place to hang out and chat with other people - very low pressure.
Thirdly, they have a new line (to me anyways) called Héroe (named after one of their employees) - this new line is really quite good - perhaps better than the standard line.
Fourthly, it is REALLY hard to pick a limited set of wine from here.
I highly recommend this place - and if you do make it here, be sure to try the rosé!

The wine was ok. The port was spectacular. We enjoyed a nice tasting and strolled around the gardens to admire the gardens. Nice and beautiful atmosphere!

We stopped in for a quick visit since we had a little extra time in Paso Robles. Beautiful sculpture garden and nice little gift shop.

Idea of Sculpterra came from a physician with lots of land who had a chance meeting with a world renowned artist. The site is exquisitely manicured with interesting sculptures and art work strategically placed around. It makes for a great art walk. On weekends, there is music which brings in much more people which can make it fairly crowded for being pandemic times. The wine seems to be second to the art work. Great place to visit.

We went here for wine tasting on Memorial Day weekend and were not disappointed even with the pandemic going on. The winery is grand and has a great history. The hostess, Iddy, was well-spirited and lively with good sense of humor. The wine is very good. Great atmosphere.

My husband and I (who are both allergic to wine) loved sharing the afternoon with friends (who love wine). The grounds are very eclectic with amazing sculptures abound. There was live music in the backyard and a Greek food stand (can't resist that baklava). The tasting room had lovely art displays while tasting their fine wine.

Had the best day ever at Sculpterra Winery! From the time that we stepped foot in the door, we were assisted by Randy who recommended great wines and sold us 4 awesome bottles of wine. They offered military discount, which I’m so appreciative for. There was a band playing and we ordered Greek food from the food truck. It was delish and we all ate gyros, Greek fries, hummus and pita, chicken and baklava. My kids played ping pong, while we enjoyed the music and atmosphere. We will return again and I highly recommend this winery to anyone. Thanks for an awesome time Sculpterra🍷

The staff was fabulous, made the rain sunny - fun viewing art & sculptures while drinking wine :) There's one of kind pieces of jewelry, so don't miss out!

The grounds are lovely here, park like setting with tables and chairs. The many art sculptures are worth the visit. There is an area for kids to play as well, it too is pretty special. The tasting room does sell replicas of the sculptures, expensive. We were lucky to be served by Donna, she is the best - great personality, very attentive and was the most friendly behind the counter. We were glad to have had our tasting experience with her at the helm! Donna made the experience fun, and informative. Other staff member was quite perfunctory in her approach to serving guests. The wines are quite good, we particularly enjoyed the red wines: Syrah and Red Blends. We've been to Paso Robles many, may times and can't believe we missed this place on previous visits. It is now one of our favorites and we highly recommend it.

They don't have too many advertisements, so you may not easy to find out where is their location. When you start from the beautiful front door, you already fall in love with it. Full of statues in the front and back yard, they are master pieces, just like walk in artist palace. One of their wine called 「Hero」, there is a planting grapes labor picture on the wine bottle, they respect their labors. They recognize these labors as their Hero. Extra income after sold the wines, will donate to charity.

Avineyard surrounded by art. It was a great experience to be able to walk through the gardens, see the Sculptures and walk through the vineyards, it was something incredible. The wine tasting was very good, although I think they still have a lot of marketing to do with respect to wines and tasting. The wines are very good, but they can still create many more experiences for visitors on this topic. It is a vineyard with a lot of potential.

Much is made about Sculpterra's sculpture gardens and they are dramatic and beautiful--BUUT we are talking wines/winery here. The tasting room is large, friendly and inviting. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable and engaging, BUUT like I said before we are talking "wines" here. So here is the collective experience of 6 very experienced wine aficionados--the wines were excellent, almost across the board. The bottom line of this visit was all three couples joined their wine club--never has happened before. I will not talk about any specific wines as we can all agree to agree or disagree, however 6 people with somewhat different tastes walked out of the winery believing it was time well spent. Their wine prices are reasonable given the quality and if you can visit in January 2017 they are have some interesting wine specials. A great place in better weather to sit outside with a lunch or cheese and fruit plate and be inspired by the setting and the art. A truly unique and special experience and the wines are definitely worth the visit alone.

I absolutely loved Sculpterra! The grounds are beautiful, the wine is great and the customer service is as good as it gets! Fran is Amazing and will make your experience worthwhile! :)

A lovely area for a walk and mini history lesson of the area. Not to mention many wines for pours. Sadly, hubby wanted to taste as part of his pour the Sirrah - a speciality of the winery. That was not available - so we left without any wine. Four stars for the grounds and beauty. Two stars for the winery itself.

This place blew us away. The sculptures, the tasting room, the wines and the friendliness of the hostess was outstanding. This is a must!!!!

What a fabulous combination. World class innovative out-sized sculptures with really fine wines. We enjoyed a tasting for four (so much nicer than the cattle car at some places) and that spent another hour on the grounds enjoying the unique sculptures. Mostly iron, mostly realistic but with a very contemporary touch. And the gardens with the perfectly trimmed boxwoods set it all off just wonderfully. Great experience.

Our 11 day Central California included one afternoon and night in Paso Robles (9/11/17). With our time available, we only had time for two winery tours. This was one selected in advance. Awesome choice. We are not wine connoisseurs, but, enjoy learning. The tasting was only $10. We bought the 2015 Sculpterra Grenache. First time to have this wine, and it may be the very best wine I have ever tasted! Excellent gift shop, tasting and beautiful grounds with the sculpture garden. We also bought pistachios. Finally, a portion of wine sales goes to the "His Healing Hands" short term medical missions. Highly recommended!

Someone at another winery recommended that we try Sculpterra. The sculptures and gardens were very nice and worth seeing. The wines were decent, but none were my favorites. We had a 50% off on the tasting from our hotel so the fee was reasonable. It worth a visit, especially on a nice day.

Absolutely stunning sculpture garden. They have live music on the weekends. The tasting room is phenomenal. The wind and the service were perfection.

Great selection of wines. Beautiful view from their tasting room. Great venue for events. Attended a private birthday party there and it was beautiful.

Sitting in the garden on a sunny afternoon, surrounded by massive animals sculptures and acres of vines, soothes the spirit. Sculptor John Jagger is the creator of many of the fine works of art in Sculpterra Garden.The135 acre vineyard produces some delectable wines for Sculpterra Winery. 'Enjoy!

Love Scupterra. We’re members of their wine club and the pick up parties are fun. The wine is good and they have an awesome 4th of July party.

This is a favorite winery to visit when in Paso Robles. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, Excellent wines, and a gorgeous property! beautiful grounds with fascinating sculptures abound. Even the Iron gate at the entrance to
the property is beautiful! This was made by the same artist that created the lanterns that adorn the main building. Just beautiful artwork. Once you have enjoyed some wine, and walked around the grounds, go play with the giant wind chimes and if in the mood, they have a fabulous stone ping pong table! Have Fun!

God to excellent wines, spectacular sculptures and manicured gardens. Lovely tasting room with excellent service. Especially recommended if you have a diverse group as there are many things for many.

Sculpterra has great wines, served by knowledgeable, personable people, in a setting which no winery can match. This is a definite must see Winery. Call for reservations, because it is a very popular place.

The grounds and wine tasting area is extremely nice.. The wine is great too.. I recommend a visit any time of the year.. Although the spring and fall are the best times to visit.. The sculptures are very interesting and completely modern.. Great..

What a wonderful place. Great wine, wonderful art and friendly staff. The wine was delicious and our host, Pixie, was very informative of all the selection. We are now members of their wine club.

The grounds are so impressive! We didn't have time for a tasting, but it was an enjoyable walk around the winery.

It is worth a visit just to walk the grounds and tasting area to view all of the unique artwork. The wine was good and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly.

We were among a party of ten cousins having a reunion in Paso Robles & we came here for a little wine tasting. It was our favorite stop! We sampled a few wines in the tasting room which had very nice paintings and art work. The wine stewards were friendly (ours even knew sign language.)😁Each couple bought a bottle of wine and we sat on the outdoor tables on the lawn enjoying the lovely weather & wine. The proprietor made the rounds, too. Beautiful vineyards, setting, historical murals and quite a collection of sculptures throughout the property. The winery has a cute motif on their wine glasses which reads, “wine that gladdens the heart” with their signature sculpture of a cat with long whiskers. We definitely intend to come back here again!

Not a wine drinker but had a great time wandering around looking at the sculptures and art work. Lovely grounds for a picnic. Be sure to get the visitor’s guide.

Beautiful grounds, amazing sculptures. Didn't try the wine. Spent about one hr exploring the gardens. Great information about grape varietals. Pleasant, helpful staff in tasting room. Purchased Gelato which didn't knock my socks off but was still good. Free parking, $20 tasting.

The wine was very, very good. However, the grounds and all the art sculptures are mesmerizing. We spent about an hour outside the winery viewing all the art and gardens before we even considered going in. Fascinating stories about the grounds and the cats whom they care for. The wine was very good, medium to high priced depending on your what your normal spend should be. Highly recommend a visit to Sculpterra.

Finally made it to the Sculpterra Winery & Sculpture Garden. I was amazed by the sculptures and art on display at this venue. The art was more impressive than the wine, which was fantastic. We spent three hours on the grounds and in the tasting area. Time well spent.

Beauty surrounded us, the sculptures and the vines. Food and music. And a wine tasting. Large selection of local wines.

Donna gave wonderful tour of the Sculpture Garden with personal stories about the artists, their sculptures and the acquisition of them. She has direct knowledge from her interactions with the principals. It was a delightful and highly informative tour followed with a nice tasting of their wines. We highly recommend this tour.

Beautiful picturesque setting. The sculpture garden alone is worth the visit. But the wines are also wonderful. Our server was friendly and knowledgable. A must see for art and/or wine lovers. Wines are bold and flavorful. I recommend the Heroe Pinot Noir. If you are in the mood for a picnic, they also have a nice selection of cheese, crackers and other snacks. I took lots of pictures. Some are posted below.

This winery is absolutely beautiful. The sculptures and gardens are amazing, the wines are delicious and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There is an area with bocce ball, table tennis and foosball set far enough away so that children do not disturb other visitors. The garlic pistachios for sale are fantastic.

Lovely winery with stunning grounds! Beautiful flowers with many art sculptures sprinkled around the entire winery!
Nice wines & more art featured inside as well.

I wish I can leave a minus zero star review but is it not possible. My family and I just visited the winery with such high expectations. However, after our visit today, I have no words to describe the unpleasant and an unwelcome experience we had. It was our second winery visit of the day and the contrast from our visit to Ancient Peaks was as night and day. They are so pleasant and very friendly.
The hostess who greeted us at Sculpterra was very pleasant, so I thought it was going to be a good experience as what we had expected when we researched for wineries to visit Paso Robles.
My family and I are wine enthusiasts. We have visited many wineries from Calistoga to Temecula and many places in between (coasts and inland) California. We have visited wineries in other states and countries as well. We are club members of many wineries for years. We really enjoy wine. In the many places we have visited, we have never felt so unwelcomed and looked down upon (maybe we had the wrong hair and skin color). I have news for you, Sculpterra, our green bucks is just as good as any Anglo guest or club member of your winery. You just lost mine, my family and many others who I will be telling about the unpleasant experience we had. The most unfortunate thing is that they have decent wines. But, I neither my family nor our friends will ever give them a cent.
You are reading this review because you value others' opinions, Take this as a warning and proceed with very low expectation if you must visit there. However, you may not be treated the way we were because you don't have the dark hair and skin color we have.

Generous pours and best price for wine tasting, sculptures were amazing, great grounds to have a picnic

The wine and tasting room are both nice but also take time to walk through the sculpture garden. Wonderful works of art in a beautiful setting.

Primitivo, Mourvedre', Viogner and so much more !! Great wines set amidst some beautiful artwork and topped off with fantastic service. Pablo was our wine tasting attendant and we had such a great time. He is definitely passionate about their wines.
We had such an enjoyable experience that we joined the club. Can't wait to go back.

This is a place you just wander around for a bit before you even get to the wine. Serious to whimsical sculptures here, something for everyone. Pixie was our host and she was full of knowledge about wine and the winery and grounds. It was very busy and very loud in the tasting room but our visit was enjoyable and we moved out to the patio to relax with a glass of red and some bleu cheese.

My boyfriend and I visited this vineyard and we couldn't be happier. The sculptures and local art make this place a unique destination, and the live music, Greek food, and outside seating really add to the ambience. Iddy did our tasting and she was amazing. She was extremely knowledgeable and passionate as well as fun and personable! We loved the rose wine!

enjoyed a relaxing afternoon tasting some award-winning wines and walking around the gardens viewing giant sculptures.

Awesome sculptures and great wine in the heart of wine country rated number one region by Wine Enthusiast many other wineries to visit close by. Great staff and beautiful grounds. The winery is owned by a local Physician who does great work and does more than his share to help the less fortunate around the world.

We visited at the suggestion of a local inn operator and glad we did. Not for the wine but the sculptures around the garden, the entrance and the ceiling fixtures in the tasting area. Very creative and prolific works.
The theme-ing is becoming more common as a means to draw one in, but good wine does not need theming. As much as we enjoyed the art, the wine for my taste was less than good. Each pour had a distinctive side note to it that does not belong. Watching our server pour showed typical Paso deep color though unusually pale in depth. There were many selections.

Wonderful experience. This is a destination winery with beautiful grounds, vineyards, and great wines.
Take the time to hear the history during a tasting, then walk the grounds with a glass (or two) of wine.
Both Iddy and Randi were very pleasant and made the visit even more wonderful.
This is the only wine club we joined this trip, and we highly recommend making Sculperra a destination.

The sculptures around the winery are themselves worth the visit. This was the first winery the wife and I liked many of the same wines.

A friend planned this stop. I must say I'm very impressed from the gardens to the art works and the wine. Can't remember my fave but this place can rival Napa. Locally sourced grapes and sensitive owners. They honored their workers by naming one of their wines after the worker. It rained when we visited but you must stop by.
We saw a couple of deers galloping when we got to the parking lot.
What a find!

Wines preferences are very individual, so I will focus on the actual facility. It is a beautiful setting. The sculptures are larger than life & the grounds are beautiful. You can bring your own lunch, grab some wine & enjoy the grounds, lots of little tables shaded by trees to relax for an hour.

Beautiful grounds, interesting sculpture, live music on the Saturday we attended. And, no admission charge. What's no to like?

I do get a little leery when choosing a winery with art. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of each wine we tasted. We had a lovely time early in the day as it was going to reach triple digits, but the patio was lovely. We had a great time talking with Pixie about the origin of the winery. Really cool place to visit.

The only negative about Sculpterra is the less than warm greeting when you arrive. The hostesses need better training in conversating with guests and welcoming people. Our Wine host was excellent and the wines are very good. The grounds and art work are unbelievably beautiful. This small change would make the world of difference here.

Came here to visit on a Motorcycle Sidecar Tour. This is one of the most beautiful wineries I have every been to. The Sculpture Gardens are absolutely stunning and the grounds are amazing. We did a one tasting and all the wine was delicious, but we especially loved the Grenache. Tasting are generous and are $25 a person. There really is no food here, but the wine is amazing and the grounds spectacular, if you can only visit one winery while in Paso pick this one

Dave the GM was very helpful and made the visit worthwhile!! Every wine we tasted was amazing and the Sunday events were entertaining! The Hurricane food truck was serving up some tasty meals that paired well with all wines!!

My husband and I visited late February. Not too many people were there since it is low season.
The winery ground is beautiful and there are many sculptures. It is very nice to walk around, sit and enjoy.
There is a $10 tasting fee. We didn't like any of the wine we tasted.

The Sculpterra Sculpture Garden surrounds the Sculpterra Winery, but you need not be visiting the winery to enjoy the art. We were there in the early afternoon on a Thursday, and had the run the place all to ourselves. Despite the standing art being primarily (if not exclusively) from one artist, the mediums and ideas varied, and that the subject matter seemed to often be animals (by the broadest definition) gave a focus to the walk-about art that is often missing from broader based sculpture gardens. Double check your route, as our path to Sculpterra lead us along a dirt road, where as the long path leaving stayed on paved roads. But it was an adventure, no matter what, and one we enjoyed in the cool, sunny air.

I would like to go back once things get back to normal, we were there just after they opened from the Covid situation; staff seamed unprepared to open, and did not want to be there. Wine was just ok.

Pablo was an amazing person to do a tasting with very knowledgeable about the history of the property and super friendly. Even more important…THE WINE IS FANTASTIC

We had such a nice time enjoying the gardens and viewing all the interesting art pieces. The wine and the grounds made it most enjoyable!

Sculpterra is a lovely winery. They have excellent wines, beautiful grounds, plenty of space to picnic, and support a great cause - ask about the Heroe wines.

Amazing wines and great staff! They offer good tasting wines and are very good! Went with 3 other couple and they were very accommodating! Will definitely be back again! The sculptures were amazing! Don't forget to bring a camera!

The staff are friendly, the pours are refreshing and the scenery is idyllic. This is a must see in Paso Robles. Hope to be able to enjoy the outdoor music next time in the breathtaking sculpture garden. The landscape design and well attended grounds are consistent with the care taken to attend the fermentation process. The wines are approachable, affordable and please the palate.

This place is very busy on weekends. We had a lovely sunny day to view the free sculpture gardens. There are many places for children to play and run outside, explore the amazing sculptures. I was amazed at the size and detail of the sculptures. On weekends there is music and sometimes food.
The wine tasting is inside only in a over decorated room. It was very crowded so we decided to skip the tasting.

An amazing display of bronze sculptures, Also have very good wine. They grow and sell Pistachios. They just kept bringing them to us as we tried the wines. A really nice experience. I love art, and this was a real treat

We stopped in here on a weekday on our way to Cambria. The sculpture garden is fantastic, with benches and tables throughout. Dogs are welcome, and we had a nice walk before continuing on our trip.

This place is beautiful. You could spend hours walking around and looking at the sculpture. We belong to the wine club but enjoy coming back just to see this place. Their wines are very good and affordable.

This is another family-run winery, the only difference from other wineries is its collection of interesting bronze and stone statues. Very friendly staff, serving an assortment of blended wines, Dog-friendly and a perfect place for a picnic under the shade of the trees.
There is also a bocci ball court and stone ping pong table. The gift shop has miniatures and replicas of the giant brass & bronze sculptures found in their garden for sale.
In the garden is a historic photo album wall of Paso Robles, dating back to the Spaniards. For dining, they have a food truck with a reasonable selection of dishes at a fair price.
TIP: Reservation times are fairly rigid, so book early and do not be late.
If this review was informative, please check the box below as I am trying to set a record for helpful reviews. Thank you

The winery itself is beautiful featuring enormous sculptures which are all super cool. The wine is made by another young wine maker which seems to be the trend in Paso, the wine makers keep getting younger and younger. He is the son of the owners.

What a surprise! We read some of the reviews and had some low expectations. Great surprise! Great wines and such amazing art work!

Finally made it here after a few trips to Paso. Exceeded expectations. Staff was welcoming and informative. Wines esp. cab blends and GSM were yummy with fabulous price point. Grounds amazing. Day we were there live music and tacos! A place and a must!

Very beautiful grounds. Luscious place to sip wine and have a light lunch. Very nice tasting room and extremely informative personnel. Wines were tasting. Some a little tough on the pallatt but enjoyable for the most part. Truly worth visiting

The sculptures are unique and scattered along the grounds. Very interesting to examine. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Really worth the stop.

While not the best wine we had in the Paso Robles area, we did enjoy many of the wines we tasted at this winery. We also enjoyed walking around the grounds and viewing all the unique sculptures. The wine tasting was reasonably priced (I think we had a buy one get one free from our hotel).

We love going to Sculpterra with every person who comes to visit us. The outside of the winery has incredible sculptures of animals & people that you can stand next to for really cool pictures. Inside they have awesome wine tasting & you can get coupons at Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce in downtown Paso for two tastings for price of one & 10% off wine purchase. They also have a beautiful gift store with unique items & also food you can buy. The staff is really friendly & fun. Sometimes there is live music too. The wine is very good so it is a great visit!

What a unique experience! This place was filled with amazing sculptures made right there at the winery. Every turn was a new experience. The grounds were very well done and the tasting areas were very well laid out. The service was excellent and informative.

What a delightful way to spend an afternoon. The wines are really good. Also had music in the gardens amongst incredible art and sculptures. This place and the owners, Warren and Kathy Frankel are truly exceptional people!!

Scuplterra is a one of a kind Winery! The art sculptures and gardens are beautiful!
The wine tasting experience is delightful, and they are very knowledgeable and hospitable.
You are greetedcwith kindness and smiles. The food trucks and music on weekends are soooo much fun. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time. You can but a bottle of wine sir in patio area and just enjoy the afternoon!

We loved Sculpterra. Laid back and delicious. Great art, great wine (so good we joined the club), and a knowledgeable guide, Sabrina, to lead us through our tasting. Our kids (9 and 11) were not in the least bored, as they could tour the lovely grounds while my wife and I enjoyed our tasting. Anyone passing through Paso would be foolish not to visit this amazing winery.

We visited Sculpterra Winery at least 10 years ago and feel in love with their Primativo. We joined the wine club and after many years, decided to try something new. Well...we again visited Sculpterra Winery this past week and fell in love all over again with their wines. We re-joined the club and look forward to getting our cases of wine.
The grounds with all the sculptures are fabulous! Spend some time roaming and enjoying the creativity.

Wonderful grounds and excellent wines. Friendly staff in the tasting room. Full disclosure - we joined their wine club during our first visit we enjoyed it so much. We always bring lunch with us and buy a bottle to enjoy it with. It's just a bit off the beaten path, but still easy to get to. Highly recommended.

The outdoor sculpture garden is well worth the drive to the eastern Paso Robles wine area. It is spectacular. I’m sure the wines were good, just not to my taste, but the stroll through the garden and the drive through bright yellow hayfields to get there was one of the most memorable aspects of this trip to Paso Robles.

The sculptures/grounds are impressive. We were there on a Saturday and they had live music. The wine flight was very good. I would definitely recommend a tasting here!

We enjoy Sculterra wine very much and decided to pop in on a Saturday since we were in Paso for a long weekend. The wine was great as usual. They were doing a tasting in the outdoor section of the back of the winery, great area to enjoy the beautiful trees and landscape. They had a live band that was very nice and relaxing to listen to. The staff was very friendly and helpful explaining details of the wine and the winery. Will be back again!

So glad we were able to visit the grounds here! Beautiful vineyard and sculptures!Nice relaxing atmosphere! Leave the kids at home! Come and enjoy!

Sculptures is a unique winery because you can enjoy yourself even without the wine. The wines were excellent and our pourer was wonderful.

Sculpterra is a lovely venue with a large tasting room and fantastic gardens. The wine is well worth tasting and on Sunday there are free music concerts in the garden where visitors can taste/drink wine and picnic. A fine way to spend an afternoon on the California Central Coast.

It's difficult to say which was more interesting - the tasting or examining the scuptures! I was fortunate to arrive when there were some classic cars on the grounds (another plus!). I know nothing of wines so I will not make a recommendation, but the white wine that someone thrust in my hand was delightful with a hint or aftertaste of citrus. A well-behaved pet can sit with you outdoors. Parking was more than adequate. The staff was pleasant and attentive. I enjoyed the peace and comfort here, the lively conversation with those in my party, the weather was marvelous, and the atmosphere was refreshing. I highly recommend it!

It does take awhile to find it but worth the effort. What a surprise! The sculptures on the grounds alone is worth the trip! The gardens are beautiful. Bring a lunch and spend the day! Tastings are only $10 (compared to a lot of places at $15) and the wines are very good. The woman doing our pours was excellent. Great personality and big pours.

A great winery ran by Dr. Frankel and his family. Whether your there for wine tastings or to enjoy the beautiful grounds that are kept so beautifully groomed, you are always welcome. The Sculpture Garden is a photographers paradise, as well being a place to enjoy that newly purchased bottle of wine and a picnic.

Don’t wait too long to make a reservation here on a weekend. We did and had to settle for a bar reservation but did end up getting moved over to the outside tasting area. Our wine expert was knowledgable about the wines and hearing the background of the owners and the collection of art was very interesting. We would definitely go back again. Good wine, stunning setting and sculptures

The sculptures and grounds are what make this place special and definitely worth visiting. The wine was good also. They also run evening concerts and have picnic and play areas. We didn't take advantage of all that on our first visit, but hope to return.

The sculptures are amazing. Iddy took the time to tell us the entire family history; It went way beyond the brochure. Oh yeah, the wine is great too; We have our favorites though. We liked some much that we decided it was worth joining the wine club!

Have visited Sculpterra a few times, it is now a stop anytime in the area. The art alone is worth the visit if you enjoy wine even better. The Heroes wine, fantastic, well all of the wines are excellent.

For us the beauty and ambiance of the winery is just as important as the wine itself …. And this place didn’t disappoint.
It is a stunning world class sculpture park
As well as a beautiful winery. We were warm from walking around and our host suggested a cold rose wine - not my usual… but.perfect!!!
Great last minute decision to go here!!

Visiting the area for a month, and planning on returning to Sculpterra. Great selection of delicious wines, and the tasting fee is very reasonable. The staff members are knowledgeable and personable. Beautiful gardens and wonderful sculptures in a lovely setting. Seating in the garden is comfortable and relaxing. There is a bacci ball area, ping-pong table, and a foosball table for the kids. Also, dog-friendly!
Every Sunday, Songwriters at Play is hosted from 1-4pm. We had a wonderful afternoon here, spent listening to songwriters perform their original music. There was a food truck, but, you can bring your own picnic lunch. Come and enjoy beautiful surroundings, good wine, and music!

Fantastic stop. Joined the wine club immediately. The beauty of the place is wonderful. The wine is very very good and priced well.

I come here for the gardens, the art, and the music. The wines are good too. Visited today on our way out of Paso Robles for a quick glass of wine to go with our picnic and were so pleased with the music writers event happening. Got a great table and the Voignier I purchased went well with my light lunch.

Sculpteria Winery is a ways from the close-in wineries, but worth the drive. The wines are good, the pistachios are good and the winery and grounds are fantastic. The wines alone are worth the effort to get there, but the Sculpture Garden (free of charge) is wonderful place to roam and enjoy or have a glass of wine with the lunch you brought along. It's on my list to visit every time I come to Paso Robles.

Didn't have an opportunity to try the wine but the prices were quite reasonable. If you enjoy metal sculptures you will be dazzled by the array of huge and wonderful pieces that are displayed. They also have a variety of musicians that perform here.
They sell diferent local cheses which can be consumed in the garden area.

Amazing sculptures, local arts and crafts and good wine combine to make this an interesting, enjoyable place to visit. The gardens are lovely with a play area for kids as well. Donna our serving lady was excellent and a lot of fun.
You could very easily spend up to 2 hours here taking in the wine, art and garden walks.

This place is so great! The wines are delicious, first off, but there's so much more to coming to this winery. From the great family story and history to the amazing grounds, this place has something for everyone! There's great sculptures to look at, history of Paso Robles, and a little "Central Park West" for kids (and adults!) to play in. Iddy was great, too. Thanks!

Had a great time wine tasting at Sculpterra!! Iddy was just the best! She had so many stories of Scupterra!! We so enjoyed all the sculptures too. Mega Focus is my favorite! It’s a trip in itself. Take a glass of wine & relax in the gardens. We recommend it highly!

I walked the sculpture garden with my dog ( poop bags provided). Large, impressive art work and good information about the local area. Bocce ball, kaleidoscope, chess tables, lots of seating. I didn't taste wine but I'll come back.

This may be a little out of the way on the East side, but it is worth a visit. The sculptures are unlike anything I have seen at any winery or museum. Very impressive. The wines are unique, robust, and fairly priced. Often there is live entertainment and always great pistachios!

Met several couples on a Sunday afternoon. Experienced a wonderful wine tasting and music in the yard. Casual yet refined all at the same time. My husband doesn't enjoy wine but went to appease me. He didn't feel like an outsider as the atmosphere was very friendly and relaxing among the vineyard under shaded trees. The wine selection was delicious and of course I walked away with a case or two. Worth the drive and afternoon.

We loved this winery. Such a great way to spend a morning on a family vacation. Frazier was wonderful and as we had our tasting with him our teenagers were able to play ping pong. We loved the wines so much we purchased a case to be shipped across the country! After visiting other wineries in the area we were truly able to appreciate what a good decision that was. These wines were the best we tried during our stay. After our tasting we walked the property a bit and then sat down and listened to a live band while eating some delicious food from a food truck that was on site. All in all a great day.
Only two things of mentions. There is only a (beautiful) one person bathroom onsite (one women one men). There is also the possibility that a private party can come and take all those cool games you may have planned for your kids to play…away. Our kids were kicked off of the game tables about 10 min after they got on and ended up coming and sitting at a table nearby us while we finished our tasting. Great spot though. Was still laid back place for them to sit.

They have a very nice area with gardens and sculptures just outside the tasting room. Beautiful art work.
Inside, friendly folks take care of your tasting experience. Found a few good wines there. Although tasting is inexpensive I found some wines to be excessively priced for what they offer.

Full disclosure, I have been a member of Sculpterra's wine club for several years. What you'll notice first is the amazing collection of life size art and sculpture that is placed throughout the property. However, the wine is what will bring you back for repeat visits. Both their reds and white varietals are lovely and reasonably priced. Make this a must visit when you're in Paso Robles.

A beautiful winery and gallery. Very unique. A bit of a drive out of town but worth it! The gardens and sculptures are beautiful, the wines are very good, the picnic area is lovely with plenty of shade.

What a unique experience to enjoy spacious gardens, filled with magnificent sculptures and relax with their wine!
This winery is on the eastern wine area with lovely country roads.
Just going to wander the sculpture garden is worth it and allowing yourself time for a glass of their gold medal winning wine or a tasting and taking it all in is a sensual delight!

Most wineries don't have game areas for the whole family. This one has fun and games of all. They also a beautiful grounds and great wines .

Let us be real here. ALL of the wine in Paso robles is great! But not ALL wineries cost you a fortune to visit. Hence, you can go to many places without being price gouged
Scultptures? So what? All the people care about you knowing is how many millions of dollars each sculpture costs. And where do they get these millions? From you my friend. So if you do not mind spending way more money than you should, just pick one of the lesser wineries and you'll still have a good time. Here is an example. " Of course" you have to pay a fee just to have a wiggle room spot at the wine tasting bar. But, trying to get the pour person to put some wine in your glass is a joke - they spend more time trying to buy you cases of wine rather than serving you. Oh, and that food wagon they boast a bout? Yes, the food was good but..........TWENTY dollars for a hamburger and fries. ??? Twenty dollars for a pastrami sandwich and fries??

We didn't know much about Sculpterra before this visit but the ladies are both artists, so the description of sculptures on the grounds sounded like a good 4th tasting visit (our last for the day). We all loved it! We spent at last 30 minutes walking the grounds before entering the tasting room, where we were greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff. The wines are very well made - we especially like the Heroe wines that honor their workers and were very reasonably priced. It will be a regular stop for us in the future.

We did a wine tasting here. I am not a big fan of wine, but when in wine country…. Our sommelier was Savannah and she was amazing. She asked what I usually like to drink, since I’m not a wine drinker. She also questioned my husband oh his favorite kinds of wine. Then along with the standard wines, she also went and got a couple others for us to try, based on what we told her. I would highly recommend doing a tasting here if you are in the area. Along with the amazing tasting experience, the grounds are beautiful as well.

We went here out of curiosity but were pleasantly surprised with our experience. The sculptures inside and out are amazing and the wines in our tasting were great, too. Our host was very knowledgeable and warm. Don’t miss this place. They are right with their slogan - it’s a “hidden gem.”

This is a MUST visit for art and wine lovers.!!! All of the art work is highly skilled & are exciting pieces. They are set into a quiet and peaceful gardens. John Jagger's work is very impressive and perfect for this garden. It is perfect for weddings and other celebrations.

We had planned to cycle a few vineyards with sculpterra being the first stop but we stayed all afternoon and wandered around looking at the beautiful art work, listening to the live music and having a picnic from the Greek food stall with a lovely bottle of Viognier from the vineyard
Darren did an amazing tasting and just regret we were on bikes so couldn’t take any away - thanks Darren

We popped in to walk around the gardens, look at the sculptures & see the vines. We didn't have time to taste any wines as it was nearly closing time but it was still worth the visit.

The grounds, artwork and sculptures at this winery are exceptional. It is definitely worth a visit to see the gardens and artwork. The wine itself is okay, we didn't taste anything that impressed us enough to buy.

This review is for the gardens, not for the wines, as we never had a chance to taste them. After waiting for about 5 mins watching one server struggling with the "new" payment system, and others seemingly wandering around not acknowledging guests, we gave up.
The gardens were nice though, pretty and serene on a quiet spring weekday, with hardly anyone (inside the tasting room and outside). The sculptures were interesting to look at, for the first time. Nice place to just sit and chill in the quiet environment, with nobody around.

A friend was visiting from out of town. She had been a friend of John Jagger and has some of his small sculptures. We walked around the winery enjoying the sculptures, did a little wine tasting and had a picnic lunch under the shade of a tree. We enjoyed the serenity and the landscaping as well as the sculptures and the wine. It was a pleasant day. I plan to visit again soon with my daughter.

So glad we decided to make this one of our stops while in Paso Robles, very friendly staff and the grounds are so pretty. All sculptures are designed by locals.

Excellent wines, even joined their wine club. Workers very pleasant and knowledgeable. Highly recommend visiting this awesome winery in Paso Robles.

Great and massive art, great people and great wines. The gardens are a site to behold. The entire area is lush & green. This is, we think, the # 1 stop on a central CA tour of vineyards, & wineries.

Really enjoyed Darren as our host. He was fun and very knowledgeable. We had visited 4 other wineries over the past 2 days and found the wines very enjoyable and tasty. The grounds here were quite interesting with unique sculpture work and we also enjoyed walking around the vineyards.

This property is amazing! Enjoy the beauty of this property along with a nice glass of wine. So much to take in that one day isn’t long enough. Wine is enjoyable but for us it was really about the art garden. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit this winery.

While we found the wine "average" - the setting was amazing. Dozens of sculptures around the property and the sommelier was quite informative about the wines. Visit for the setting, at the minimum!!

Enter through impressive wrought iron gates and you get a taste of what is ahead. The property has a number of stunning art pieces around the grounds that you are free to appreciate. There are various types of grapes labelled on the vines and information about the history of the area. No pressure to participate in tastings or purchase but those we saw doing so all purchased so it’s an indication the quality was good .

We loved our visit to this winery. The grounds are beautiful, and the sculptures are crazy good. The wine is excellent, and the wine tasting experience was very good with a lot of history and geographical references included.

We had a fabulous time wine tasting and learning the history of the winery and the sculptures. Donna was awesome and had a story for each wine she poured!
Very knowledgeable and funny!!
We will definitely be going back to Sculpterra, not only for the wine but the beautiful grounds to walk through.
Great job Donna!😊

You are bathed in sculpture and gardens before you reach the tasting room. This is a spectacular visual experience and photos don't do justice to the actual visage. Wow! Plan a picnic for this site. The winery is a family operation that adds to the warmth of the tasting experience. The wine maker's wife hosted our tasting. Note the dedication of the owners to charitable medical services in the Baja and further south. Appreciate the art inside the winery as well. The wine? Well there were several reds we purchased including the sumptuous Port.

The large sculpture pieces grab your attention from your first viewing in the parking lot. I had no intention of even tasting but began and had to ship a case back home

The grounds are beautiful and interesting. Reservations and masks are required and tastings are done outdoors. We arrived early for our reservation, but had to wait until our reservation time to get in. This gave me plenty of time to tour the grounds.
Tastings were done standing up. The rating for the grounds is a 5 but wines were a 3 (in our opinion). We had to rush through our tasting because we had another reservation after this winery.

Driving down Pacific Coast Highway you can visit a less well known wine region around Paso Robles. Just turn inland on Highway 46 about a half hour south of San Simeon. There are several wineries you can visit including some with boutique inns and bed and breakfast. We chose a tasting at Sculpterra Winery because of the sculpture gardens. The have great wines available and after it's a nice opportunity to walk around the gardens and enjoy the sculptures. It was a warm sunny November afternoon when we were there, not too busy and a really great experience.

A must see if you are in the Paso Robles area! The iron art in the garden is beautiful. The grounds are full of huge oak trees. The staff is really friendly.

This is an awesome place to visit. Stunning artwork and sculptures greet you as you pull up and are also available for purchase. The wines were delicious and the people were awesome! A great experience and not to be missed on a day trip in Paso!

What a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. A pleasant place to enjoy your picnic lunch with a bottle of wine. The sculptures are beautiful and worth the visit. Clean facilities and friendly service.

Nice tasting room and very friendly and wonderful staff. Wines were very good, we took home 4 bottles. Make sure to allow time to view the sculptures and artwork on the property.

First I need to say that this is the most beautiful winery I have ever visited, but I am partial to large outdoor sculptures. There are so many here that I was in a photo taking frenzy. It was 10 o’clock in the morning and we had a big drive ahead of us so we really weren’t interested in wine tasting. Instead we wandered throughout the grounds and into the vineyards which seemed amazing that you could do this unaccompanied and see all the beautiful grapes and vines that were just starting to turn colors. We did end up buying a bottle of wine just because we so appreciated the beautiful area. It also has an area with games if you are traveling with children. Don’t miss this!

Though we were not interested in the wine, I considered this a must stop on our drive through Paso Robles. The sculpture garden proved to be amazing so we lingered for awhile even thought the outside temperature approached 100 degrees on the day of our visit.

We took a cue from TA and visited SCULPTERRA on our way to Cambria.
It is a nice country drive on the way there. Once you arrrive you see sheep on the green hillside next to the vines. Then you see the gorgeous sculptures. Just beautiful and pastoral.
Then inside the very friendly staff begins the delightful tastings. I think it was $10 for 8 selections, but our personable host threw in a few extra as well. We took the last pour out back to wander the rear sculpture gardens, We purchased a whimsical Paso Pink Rose, but all the Wines were very good.
Do take the time to drive out there, you will not be sorry.

By far the most beautiful wine property in Paso when it comes to art work and massive sculptures. Grab a bottle and wine in the gardens. The tasting room is large and the menu vast. Plan to spend some time here... it's worth it.

Interesting place. Large sculpture garden and there was a live band and a food truck when we were there. The wine is just average though. Fun place to hang out or to dance but not for serious wine tasting.

We went to Sculpterra Winery and we enjoyed the great wines and the awesome Sculpture Garden. We were greeted immediately and our server Debbie was friendly & very knowledgeable about each wine she poured us. The pistachios were a big hit too! We are so glad we came to this winery and we plan to come back next time we are in the area!!

A must visit if you are in Paso Robles, even if you do not like wine as the grounds is incredible and the staff is so nice and friendly!!!!
Its a very well thought out winery/tasting room! We ended up buying three bottles and some other unique items......

We loved wandering through the gardens and metal sculptures - then had some time with Dale. She was very hospitable and shared the history of this place. We Loved the pistachios accompanying the wine tasting. Before and after we took photos of the amazing metal art. Go to this place on a weekday and soak it all in. Peaceful.

We endured the trek to Sculpterra in the blazing heat. While I did enjoy the grounds and art, the wine leaves much to be desired. Very gimmicky, filled with tour bus people, not my style.

The sculptures are great. The wine tasting was okay. The person helping us got attitude when we told him we did not care for a couple of the wines.

Great spot to visit just to look at the amazing sculptures and grounds - and the wines were good as well.
We enjoyed the tasting session and of course ended up taking six bottles home with us. Great spot with friendly people!

This has to be one of the most spectacular wine properties in the world! You are welcomed by amazing metal work on the gates as you enter the long drive up to the beautiful winery building. The sculptures in the courtyard begin your adventure. After tasting their award-winning wines, venture out to the back sculpture garden for more fantastic art. But wait! there's more--bocce; foosball and ping pong are available along with many picnic tables. Make this out-of-the-way spot your first stop on the east side of Paso!

This is an amazing winery with great music on the weekends. The proprietors are so kind great place to bring friends and family for the day 12-3pm. The wine is always yummy.
The sculpture gardens amazing.

Amazing brass sculptures with some steam punk influences amid an expanse of vines. oh yeah great wine, too!

We enjoyed tasting here yesterday with our two grandchildren. Lots of room for them to explore, beautiful sculpture gardens and great wines. Our attendant was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We will be back! 🍷

Sculpterra Winery was represented at our campground's (Wine Country RV) wine tasting one weekend and at our next stay we decided we needed to go to the vineyard because of the excellent selection of wine that they served and the information from the server regarding their sculptures. We were very impressed! The grounds and sculptures are beautiful and the wine was exceptional.

Sculpterra Vineyards was so beautiful and Iddy made the journey through the sculpture gardens and the wine cellar so fantastic. She does such an incredible job of explaining how the vineyard started with Dr. Frankel and his very knowledgeable, wine maker, son. Iddy also gives you insight into every single sculpture and its history. She is absolutely amazing — the knowledge she has Makes the entire Vineyard visits so fascinating. We also enjoyed their Viognier and their Cabernet and all the wines and of course bought quite a few bags of their delicious pistachios and lots of bottles of wine. Must visit in Paso Robles!

I've been to Sculpterra several times. When I first went I found the people in the tasting room to be very engaged and interested in telling us about the winery. The grounds have always had an interesting array of art work to view. And, the wine was pretty good, especially for the price point.
I would say the last couple visits I have not found the tasting room staff to be as engaged with the customers, and frankly the wine has gone way up in price and is just not as good as it was even a year ago. Sorry.
It's worth going to Scupterra just to tour the grounds. Lot's of nice picture opportunties. I hope they get the wine back up to speed.

The place is really beautifull, wine its ok, but the two blond old ladies that sells you the wine are the worst expirience you will ever have, so be prepared!

Gorgeous winery and wonderful wines. Randi poured the wine for us and was so much fun telling us tales about the wines and winery. This is a dog friendly winery and my pup loved the attention her got. The grounds have beautiful sculptures to admire. I would love to come back for one of the monthly events they host.

We had heard of Sculpterra on our last trip to Paso but this was our first time we had the pleasure!
We travel up to Paso 3-4 times per year to pick up our wines. We cancelled a club to try cut back on memberships but were enamored with Sculpterra. The owner's story and the gardens were just beautiful. Not even mentioning the wines -which are spectacular!!
The sculptures and gardens are beautiful. We cannot wait to come back with our daughters and let them run around and enjoy the grounds.
Customer service was excellent and the tasting room, despite being packed, they took care of us. Definitely come and taste some wine and walk around.

The sculpture garden is interesting and the property is very nice. However, if you are really going for the wine tasting, the wines are of average quality.

We stopped by Sculpterra as our first stop on a two day wine tasting tour of Paso Robles. We left feeling we had seen/experienced the best first. In any case, we enjoyed our Sculpterra visit thoroughly. The sculpted pieces were interesting and started some conversations. We walked the grounds and enjoyed seeing all the pieces therein. The wines were very good. I particularly enjoyed the Figurine. (I bought two bottles.) There is quite a bit to recommend in Paso Robles. I would heartily recommend Sculpterra. It is a most enjoyable way to spend some pleasant time in a lovely little wine town.

On a sunny day, the artwork is so enjoyable to see-it surrounds the building and is really a treat. I especially enjoyed the recently-added historical photos of the area on a huge outdoor display. The wines weren’t really my taste but I’d say you don’t want to miss a visit here.

This was a different adventure for the whole family - we loved it! Live outdoor music (check their schedule), nice wines, and the quirkiest sculptures amidst great vistas - felt like a little taste of Europe. Food truck offered eats, winery was open, and tons of outdoor seating with umbrellas (Paso gets HOT!). Definitely worth the trip and off the beaten path.

This is a busy winery and you will find the tasting room buzzing with chatter! We strolled the Gardens first which afforded us the opportunity to relax and enjoy the experience. The art is a blend of styles—similar to viewing a modern art gallery.
The wine was nice, but hard to really focus on the tasting experience with all the noise.

Beautiful grounds if you're looking for a nice space to relax outside. Above average. Off the beaten path.

This is really a wonderful place. Beautiful art well situated in lovely gardens. Great wines, many outdoor seating options for enjoying the wine while enjoying the art and gardens!

Sculpterra was recommended to us. Glad we made the trek. Fun to walk around the grounds an see the many interesting sculptures. Very cool they had an area of the vinyard you can walk thru. Great display of local history.

There is a great story behind the tasting ..
this was a great stop.
A must see in the a the tour!
Reservations are required and plan to stay a couple hours to view the property and all the scultures

We celebrated a significant birthday with friends, enjoyed music in the gazebo, met new friends and played Bocce Ball. Great to be out!

Art, music, parties - the wineries in Paso Robles are all there is to do - so they have to distinguish themselves with more than just wine. This one did it with Art and music. Definitely an experience to have with your wine.

Visited Sculpterra the first time so I could see the sculptures and tried the wine - because we were there! We have been back many times because we fell in love with the spicy deep fruited Maquette (a Bordeaux blend) and the rich dark berry of Bentley Ironworks Cabernet! They have MANY options so there is something for every taste! Even if you're not a huge fan of wine, go to see the unusual sculptures all over the well manicured grounds!! They are truly impressive!!

We stopped by Sculpterra on our drive home to do a little reconnaissance for our next visit to Paso Robles. We were flabbergasted by the amazing sculptures and the child-friendly outdoor accommodations. It was absolutely worth the time and we will return to sample their wines!

From the moment you enter the gates, the experience is spectacular. I was in awe of the sculptures, the detail in the architecture, the grounds. Everywhere you looked was a feast to the eyes. The tasting was beautifully done. The experience is the best of any winery we have been to.

Every wine was excellent. Purchased two bottles to share with friends during out visit to the area. Served well.

Sculpterra is not only a fine winery, it contains a vast garden with beautiful and original sculptures of varying sizes and styles. Walking the grounds is highly recommended but so is a visit inside to sample their fine wines and snacks. The staff is extremely courteous and knowledgeable. The décor is inviting. The selection of wines and other food and drink is wide-ranging. You won't regret sampling the wine list. We purchased a few bottles of wine, as you must, but added some nuts and souvenirs to the order. I wouldn't hesitate to go back, even in an area we've been told features over three hundred wineries. Make an afternoon of it!

Choose this as our first winery visit. Didn’t have a reservation but they got us in likely because it was Friday. Good wine. Bar attendant was knowledgeable and said it was his first month. Sculpture garden was very cool and well done. Really enjoyed to large history photo wall,

Everything was a delight; wonderful staff; Iddy is a great storyteller. We were entranced!!! The wines are excellent and the vineyard with all its all it’s wonderful Art was worth our trip to Paso! We will continue to visit because we are now members. Look forward to sharing the wines with others and bring them to experience the wonderful winery! !!!

One of the nicest wineries I have visited. The winery is beautiful and full of art, including sculptures and paintings. The wines are delicious, moderately priced, and my sommelier Savannah Russell was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant.

Excellent wine reasonably priced. Their HÉROE labeled wines, dedicate to their farm employees, are our favorite. Don't forget to buy their locally grown pistachios. There is none better.

Visited Sculpterra on our way to the Sierras. While I did not partake in the wine tasting, my wife enjoyed it quite a bit. The woman serving us and assisting us with the tasting and selection was very knowledgeable and really helpful. We bought a bottle to enjoy in our hotel later. To be brutally honest, it wasn't the greatest pinot noir I've had and it wasn't cheap. Although there were other samples on the tasting menu that were far better, but twice the price. So there's that.
Outside, the sculpture garden is fantastic. We spent a couple of hours wandering the grounds. Some of the art is truly excellent. So even if wine isn't your thing, this place is worth a visit if you are in the area just to get some fresh air and stretch your legs. Make sure to walk through the vineyard up to the hammocks in 'Pauls Forest' for a very relaxing time-out in a wonderfully tranquil location.
We'll be back and try a different bottle next time.

We checked out YELP for wineries in Paso Robles, and saw that this was #2 and looked interesting. To our surprise, we enjoyed the wine much more than we thought. We tried 8-10 wines and for the first time my wife and I liked them all. They varied from simple to complicated, but all were wonderful. We bought several bottles and promised to come back again.

Just the most beautiful experience! As we were looking for something artistic & interesting, we came across Sculpterra Winery & Sculptural Garden. Amazing!! We have been to many wineries over the years but this by far was the most beautiful. Not only are the sculptures by John Jagger, Dale Evers & Bob Bentley (to name a few artists) fantastic, but the gardens, lighting, outdoor settings…..all extraordinary. Be ready to meander for hours in these gorgeous gardens & of course sample their lovely wine. It appears they have live music & festivals throughout the year, so we definitely plan to return. The winery itself is architecturally a beautiful building & the lighting spectacular.

Great place to visit, look at the sculptures and large posters about the development of the winery. We were there on a sunny Saturday afternoon in October- so enjoyed a live band, dancing, and people watching!

Anytime in the thePaso area, this is a must stop. The art is great, love the wine. Had a great art series on Carlos Santana, both paintings, and sculptures.
Heroes wines, my favorite.

This was one of the best wineries I have visited. My daughter and I were visiting Paso Robles with my two grandchildren, ages 6 and 10. After seeing all the beautiful outdoor animal sculptures and noticing the beautiful grounds with numerous outdoor activities, we felt we could enjoy some wine tasting in the tasting room while the kids played outside under the big oak trees. Paloma, our server, was so kind to them and gave them table tennis paddles and balls for the marble top table and foos balls for that game as well. Before we finished our wine tasting they were back wanting to play bocce ball so they did that too. We loved the wines here and the bonus was the giant sculptures and the outdoor activities for the kids.

Gardens are great with the varied sculptures which gives a different feel to the winery compared to others we visited. Our hostess in the tasting room was great and very helpful on the wines. Tasting was $10.

A magnificent garden holding modern sculptues set out in nature. A. Stroll around shows up theses works of art. There is also wine tasting facilities and the shop has wine and its own pistachio nuts and other items for sale.

This is a must-see winery! It is beautiful.... and the wine is spectacular! The grounds are full of amazing sculptures, along with information about the history of Paso Robles. This would be a great venue for a special event.

We had a great time at our visit. They have some outdoor games which is great with the kids. Wine is delicious and tasting is not too expensive.

This was a nice area to visit with all the sculptures. It had a nice area inside and out, but the day happen to be very warm. The tasting room was friendly and the employees provided good service. However, some of the wines were bitter and not as tasty as expected.

Our intention was a tasting and a stroll around the beautiful sculpture garden on the winery. But we ended up signing up with the wine club, thanks to our wonderful and knowledgeable host Iddy! She told us the history of the winery and took time to let us taste the wines. She also told us of the good cause on the heroès wines where the winery donates a amount where people need it. As said if u want a great tasting with good wines, info and a lovely host go to sculpterra and look for Iddy. And don’t forget to buy a bag or 2 of the pistachios and sit in the beautiful garden sipping the wine. Thanks Iddy for a wonderful visit. Edith & Donna from Florida 😄

A group of us visited Sculpterra and were very impressed with the grounds, sculptures and setting. Really worth checking out.

This is a great place to visit. I added this as a way point on our trip between Los Angeles and San Francisco based on reviews of the sculpture gardens. The objective was to stretch legs rather than taste wine. The gardens make this estate very unique. If you like pictures, it is well worth the detour. As a winery, it is to be commended for not being precocious and yet they have awesome wines. Check their event calendar to see if something special rings your bell.

Spontaneous visit to Sculpterra and were not disappointed. Truly lovely setting - picturesque vineyards and pistachio farming. Very unique sculptures, large outdoor "play" area for kids and adults alike. Great place to have a glass (or two) of wine and just enjoy the scenery!

Incredible wine tasting experience with enchanting grounds and friendly and knowledgeable staff !!! Music fit the vibe!!!!

Grab a glass (or Bottle) and stroll the grounds. Many interesting and things to see as you enjoy your wine.

We visited the winery when we were in Paso Robles for a graduation. The winery is very interesting so many animal sculptures on the grounds and the grounds are beautiful with flowers and Landscaping. The whole place is very impressive. The wines they have are very impressive to. It is a very easy place to find. Very well worth the trip to visit and taste the wines

This is one of the coolest wineries I have ever visited. They are known for the amazing sculptures that are located throughout the winery and within the tasting room. We were helped by Sabrina during our tasting. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the vineyard the artists who created the sculptures. The wine was great and the tasting was at a very reasonable price. We ordered a glass to take with us as we walked around the compound to see the beautiful sculptures. I will recommend this winery to anyone visiting Paso Robles and I will definitely be visiting again.

Sculpterra winery is southeast of Paso off of Linne Road. Not only do you have the artistry of the (obvious) sculptures outside but the building itself has artwork inside and out. From the gates, all the way to the back of the property, artwork abounds in many forms.
This was the last winery (#19) on our trip to Paso/SLO/Edna Valley and it was also one of our favorite tastings. Our group liked most of the wines, from the Heroe, all the way to the Port. Our wine pourer/educator was from the UK and was very welcoming and informative. One bonus of Sculpterra is the have a pretty sizable crop of Pistachios and they come in three different flavors plus just salted. I purchased a bag of the salted and they are some of the best Pistachios I have ever had. As far as I know you can only purchase them at the winery itself. This is about as fresh as it gets.
Family members live in the area and have revisited Sculpterra to enjoy one of their small concerts (wine down Wednesdays) they have throughout the year. They also have an outdoor gaming area in the back.
I give Sculpterra 5 “circles” for the wine, art, pistachios, and general uniqueness of the property.
We found that by visiting central coast wineries during the “winter” we had a non-rushed experience and many wineries went off the tasting list and let us explore what we wanted. In some cases, we were the only ones there. I recommend avoiding Saturdays at the most popular wineries. Even during the off season southern Californians migrate up on the weekends to the central coast region. Please keep in mind that although it is not expected at all, feel free to tip your wine pourers/attendants/wine educators if you feel they have gone above and beyond what you expected and made you feel at home at their winery. There is an art to this and we have experienced some bad executions of it, so rewarding the excellent experiences, even if you didn’t care for the wine, I think is right thing to do.

Wineries are generally very similar. Some have something unique to offer. This place has the sculpture garden. I was impressed. The staff was very friendly and engaged with us to our satisfaction. The food choices are next to nothing, and maybe they should think about selling some food. I see they have food trucks in when they expect more people.

First visit 7/4/19, beautiful atmosphere, wines, sculptures. I recommend this place highly. Exquisite.

It's a way out of the way, but well worth the drive and time it takes to get there. I never seen so much beautiful art displayed with such care in one place. You can wander and look through the garden with a glass of delicious wine. I can't wait to take a tour of the vineyard with the winemaker! We booked a group to go back and have a box lunch in the garden with wine tasting. Very special place!

This is a nice place for families to interact with nature, wine taste, see nice sculptures, and learn about the local history. Without wine tasting we spent 3 hours visiting the winery and sculptures. Three bands played music while we were there. You're on your own about the wine.

Wow, we spent as much time looking at the garden as we did tasting their great wine. We liked it so much we joined their wine club.

Stopped here on our sidecar tour. The grounds are unreal with all the art. The wines were very good and our tasting was informative and enjoyable.

Off the beaten path but worth the drive. Sculpture garden is fantastic, wine is very good though not the finest in the Paso area. More of an experience, they often also have live music.

It is one of the few wineries where we liked/loved nearly every wine we tasted! We liked the winery so much that we joined their wine club.

I am a case club member of Sculpterra Winery and enjoy the delicious wine tastings in a fantastic setting of beautiful sculptures and grape vineyards. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I have been out to the winery several times and always enjoyed my visit.

This winery is located quite a ways east of Paso Robles, but is very much worth the drive out to it. The grounds are amazing with an abundance of sculpture to ponder, as well as interesting railings and gates. We brought our picnic lunch and also went for a stroll through the vineyard. Pets, kids, and outside food are allowed on the grounds outside of the winery.
We reserved a tasting at this winery and thoroughly enjoyed our tasting. Our server, Donna, was very nice and was very knowledgeable about this wines that she served us, as well as the art work on the property. There is a nice selection of both whites and reds, and many of the wines are blends of some interesting grape varieties. We came away with 6 bottles to take home. We recommend the winery for a tasting in Paso Robles, although the winery is quite a ways out of town to the east.

We visited Paso Robles and chose 3 wineries to explore. While the grounds are pretty, I have to say that Sculpterra is our least favorite of the 3.
Our sommelier was nice and friendly, which we appreciated. I’m not an expert, but having been wine tasting in Tuscany, Napa, and Temecula, I was surprised by the pour sizes at Sculpterra. They were the smallest I’ve ever experienced - barely a sip! This was a bit disappointing as it didn't allow for a full appreciation of the wine.
Overall, while the setting is lovely and the staff was pleasant, the experience fell short of our expectations.

We discovered Sculpterra Winery 6 years ago on our first trip to Paso Robles. We loved the wine then and still love it now. Our favorite is the Primitivo (Italian Zinfandel).

Lovely place, great shaded wine tasting room (outdoors), and pretty landscaping. The sculptures are really something to look at. The wine tasting presenter (Bruce) was very nice and also shared history about the sculptures. He made wine tasting fun.

We did wine tasting and the wines were average. The sculptures were nice and different. Not much to see otherwise.

So glad we made the effort to stop by Sculpterra. It’s truly a stunning setting & you can get to appreciate the beautiful sculptures as well as enjoy some wine tasting. We took a packed lunch & found a shady spot on a very hot (100 degree) day & enjoyed the beautiful manicured gardens & works of art dotted around the vineyard.
The inside tasting rooms also have beautiful artwork & small selection of deli items like fresh bread, salami, olives, & cheese if you’d like to make a picnic lunch on the spot. If you’d like a bigger selection I suggest bringing your own picnic.
Donna was the lovely lady offering us our wine options & she was very generous with her pours & offered several other additional tastings with open bottles she had. She was so nice she even gave our teenage kids a Pellegrino for being so patient! That was very thoughtful & very much appreciated! Lots of kids activities outside as well!
So overall - a gorgeous vineyard at very reasonable & generous wine tasting prices! Would love to visit in the fall when it’s not so hot!

Beautiful winery, wines are not what I expected. I guess when you own a winery you want wines that will blow your hair back a little. My honey and I shared a tasting because we were truly here for tasting and still going to other wineries. Our server didn't seem too excited about us sharing. We bought some wine, tipped and headed out.

In addition to wine tasting, we enjoyed strolling the grounds on a beautiful day. The historical display of captioned pictures was extremely informative and well done while presented in a lovely park setting. The wine was good, the sculptures fascinating, and the entire environment neat and clean.

Well I love art AND wine so this place ticks them both off and very well!. The gals running the tasting informed us of the interesting history of this place as well and describing the wines nicely. We bought two bottles and some artsy jewelry and artwork. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at Sculpterra...only suggestion...if the customer buys bottles and art, maybe waive the tasting fee?.

We have a home in Cambria and have visited many wineries in Paso. Sculpterra is one of our favorites. Definitely worth the drive. Lovely property and people with great wine at affordable prices. We have an 11 year old son, and he loves visiting Sculpterra, which is dog and kid friendly. I appreciate the work that they have put into the sculpture gardens and the facilities....and I enjoy their wines.

I love art, wine and nature and enjoyed all three at this unique winery. The building is surrounded by gardens and amazing animal sculptures. There are shaded bistro sets to enjoy your wine purchase and the beautiful grounds.

With so many wineries in the area and off of the main highways, this winery was not worth the extra time and distance. There was a $10 cover charge for the tasting. The grounds included several sculptures of only minor interest. Don't waste your time.

This was our first wine tasting in Paso Robles & it was the perfect start. Beautiful tasting room & a family owned winery with history on the land. The sculpture garden is beautiful to walk thru. The tasting was a full range of tastes & profiles. Will love to visit again in summer. Donna was our wine host & was great! Friendly & knowledgeable about the wine, winery & the area. Our dog Barley enjoyed the visit as well.

We found the grounds of this winery to have well-groomed gardens with an artistic twist. Sculptures were peppered throughout the grounds. We got a glass of red and walked the beautiful gardens. They show appreciation of the workers by putting their picture on some bottles of wine. We found this to be a very thoughtful touch! Definitely will return.

Gorgeous winery in a moral rural part of Paso Robles. Beautiful sculptures and excellent tasting wines with friendly staff. Unusual and well worth a visit.

Location / Ambience / Service: 4
Wine: 2
It’s hard for me to rate this place. I liked everything, except the wine. It’s a winery so I have to base my rating on the wine right? Or maybe it’s just a nice park that happens to serve wine? In that case it’s a 4.
Overall, it’s a great place to come with your friends and family, enjoy the grounds, get some food if it’s the weekend, and drink some not so great wine.
We came early on a Friday so there weren’t many people around but they did have a Greek food truck on the premises. Normally the tastings are standing only but the waitress was nice enough to bring our tastings over to us in the sitting area outside. They probably wouldn’t be able to do that during a busier time though. Overall the service was friendly and great. As for the location, the grounds are well kept and the statues are great.
Now for the wines. They give you 8 wines for a $20 tasting, which is quite good. But most of those wines are quite bad. The style here is overripe and sweet. And I mean residual sugar sweet, not just fruit forward. These are both, and that made most of the wines rather off putting for me. The only one I found palatable was the Reserve Primitivo. I may have even taken a bottle home, but they don’t offer to waive the tasting fee for bottle purchases like pretty much every other winery does.
It is a nice place to hang out and relax. And if you’re not picky about your wine quality you might not even notice the sub-par wines.

Beautiful winery & sculptures. Relaxing environment where you can taste or order a glass/bottle of wine and enjoy the views and/or go for a walk. Bocce and chess are also available.

Beautiful winery with great wines. The Park of Sculptures is terrific! And the Paso Roble's city is amazing too!

Truly want to like this place many wine yet would never taste here again. They were mass tasting and out of the 20 they offered most went in the dumper. So may wineries to choose from in Paso. Visit for the grounds. And they had many food trucks. Customer service did not exist. I would never tell anyone to visit

We made a reservation due to Covid (thankfully months in advance) and had a very personalized experience. We ended up purchasing the Port, which was AMAZING, and a bottle of the 2019 Winemaker Signature IV, which we will save for a few years to drink ($200....eek). The boys & men in our party played Bocce ball & the grounds were gorgeous. Definitely plan on returning.

Although it's farther for us than Napa/Sonoma, we really enjoy coming to Sculpterra for the sculpture garden, as well as the wine tasting. The staff is always friendly, never making you feel pressured to buy anything, but the wine is good and the price point just right, that we always end up buying several bottles. Most recently we came to their wine party, which included wine tasting, music and food (pizza and paella), which was a lot of fun. If you live closer, they have music every Sunday and food that you can purchase and just plop down on the chairs or grass and enjoy.

We should have listened to people telling us not to come here, but we were intrigued by the art and decided to check it out. Upon arriving at the tasting bar, we were completely ignored by our server until she was done with another party, not even given a splash of something to get us started while she finished with them, about 15 minutes on a hot day. Once we saw the tasting notes, which BLATANTLY requested tips for the server (how tacky!) we were given miniscule tastes of some terrible juice. The Pinot Grigio was passable so I thought I'd get a couple bottles just to get the tasting fee waived. But unlike EVERY winery I've been to in my life (so, so many) they do not extend this practice. We got the hell out of there. And we'll warn others and stress that they must heed our warning so they don't waste their time and money on this debacle.

We didnt have reservation for tasting but this place offers wine by the glass. We were able to pick out glasses and roam through the cute vineyard and gardens. You can also bring picnic I think (some food for sale at location) and enjoy at many cute tables at the property. The only thing that rubbed us off was that the host asked us 10 times if we wanted to go with a $20 glass wine. It's not like she suggested something else or gave reasons for constantly asking that question. She just kept saying it's expensive. If it's on the menu that for patrons to choose, no?

What a lovely place. Serene and welcoming - we really liked the wines (taste the Mouvedre - so yummy!) and the knowledgeable woman behind the bar helping us through the list. We enjoyed the live musicians in the beautiful back yard and also the freshly made tacos, rice and beans for such a reasonable cost! Love love love the sculpture. Just an all round gorgeous place. We will return each time we visit Paso. Enjoy !!!

I would recommend stopping by this winery to stroll through the paths experiencing the many sculptures they have on display. We did enjoy the grounds a lot. We also did taste a couple of wines and found their premium wines were very good and did buy a couple of bottles; however, if you aren't interested in purchasing any wine, you are not pressured into exiting through the tasting room where you could feel trapped. You can simply go out the way you came in and continue on with your day.

Fantastic sculptures in the garden and a marvellous entrance gate to drive through. Well worth a visit, even if you don't like wine, just exploring the gardens and admiring the sculptures is worthwhile. The wine tasting and friendly staff just made everything perfect for our visit.

Excellent winery! The staff was very friendly, the wine was amazing, and the sculptures were incredible. I went in for a tasting and left with 12 bottles of wine. It was a great way to celebrate a 5 year anniversary!

What a beautiful winery to sip good wine….There’s beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces with nice details. Christian was quite the host.

We had a very nice tasting at Sculpterra, our host was very knowledgeable and informative. We really like the wines and joined the wine club.

This winery is unique in having a sculpture garden on the premise, and it is free. The sculptures are modern in nature and the garden is pleasant to stroll in. It is a bonus while sampling the wine.

We went in the 4th of July party they have. The food was free so how can you complain there... there was also fun music, plenty of space to lay in the grass will blankets or what not, face painting, games for kids, sno cones, and the tasting room is a fun space. I also can't forget the beautiful grounds. The sculptures are really cool and I've even heard it makes a good wedding venue.

The service was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. The gardens were lovely to walk around, and had we known, to picnic in.
I liked that this place really seems to want you to be part of their winery and enjoy their gorgeous grounds.

We decided to visit Sculpterra Winery because I happened to read that they displayed art work. What a fun and great place!!! The ground is beautifully landscaped and filled with sculptures. The inside the winery has paintings and photos displayed on the walls and over the wine barrels. We saw people enjoying wine sitting in this beautiful garden. Next time we would like to have a picnic lunch in this garden. Among some wineries we have seen, this winery is unique and fun to visit.

The winery was an absolute treat. I loved the artwork, the sculptures were absolutely amazing. We walked around the winery and enjoyed the cute little seating areas, the grape vines with the names of each grape, the gardens were nice. They also grow pistachios and we got a chance to taste them as well. The wines were really good. This place is a must if you are in the Paso Robles area!

Great winery and a nice wine club. Had 1/4 of our group join the club. We had a group of 12 so we set up a tasting out on the patio and they treated us very nicely. Great picnic grounds also.

A must see winery when in Paso. So much more than wines. Taste then wonder around the grounds. Many Sculptures a wall fresco with Paso history and much more.

This is always one of our favorite stops - we grab lunch from Cass up the street and sit in the gardens to eat and enjoy some wine. We went there on the first day of our most recent trip and purchased a few bottles. Unfortunately, one of the bags slipped from my hands when going into the hotel and I lost 2 bottles. Needless to say, I was devastated. We went back first thing the next morning before we started our day and shared the story. (I can't leave Paso without my Paso Pink!) Donna gave us new bottles at no charge. She was so kind and generous. We will definitely be going back, not only for the great wines, but also outstanding service!!

Loved the atmosphere here. Really enjoyed the wine, great service and the beautiful outside setting. The art, the greenery, beautiful outside shaded courtyard where we sat and enjoyed a glass of wine. All of it was a fantastic experience.

Really lovely, well made wines. Very informative and engaging host. The grounds are beautiful with some amazing sculptures even if they are not all to your taste. Easy Uber ride from Paso.

Beautiful winery with a wonderful sculpture garden, killer views, and good wines. We were there on a Saturday, and they had a live band and a taco truck. The staff are super friendly and helpful.
I highly recommend.

Wine here is excellent and the people who run it are really great. On caveat is maybe they should offer a little snack with the wine tasting. Although you could buy some snacks at the bar.

Our afternoon visit to Sculpterra took us to an area of beautiful grounds/gardens which contained some interesting art and sculptures. Many creative art pieces . That was the highlight of stop........tasting room was also very pretty and artsy but the wines were at best average. Tasting was $ 10

I would say your Paso trip would not be complete without visiting Sculpterra. The most amazing winery and place I have ever been to. Plus, the wines were delicious and the staff extremely helpful sweet and informative.

We had a nice visit at Sculpterra Winery, both tasting a number of great wines and exploring the beautiful grounds. We felt well taken care of by the team of Shelly, Gwen, and Susan as we explored the different varietals that Sculpterra has to offer. Nothing but great things to say about the hospitality and the overall atmosphere.

We have been wine club members here for at least 5 years and still LOVE their wines and the Sculpture garden. This is a must see and visit to taste their wines. Unfortunately our favorite pourer Kyle is no longer her; however, this year David took very good care of us. Our group purchased about 18 bottles of wine here and ours had previously been shipped to the east coast.
Everyone should check this one out!

exceptional winery with exceptional wines! we had a whole list of wineries to visit in Paso Robles started at Sculpterra first and stayed here ALL day! Fran was great joined the wine club and relaxed in the art filled gardens.

Beautiful winery! Beautiful landscape! Amazing sculpture! Maria was delightful! We loved every wine we tasted... joined the Club and purchased a couple of cases! A bit off the main path, but well worth the drive. Recommend you seek it out.

This was a nice stop for a relaxing Sunday afternoon. We started our visit checking out all of the various sculpture pieces on the grounds which are well manicured and pretty. We observed that musicians were setting up and found that Sunday afternoons they have free musical concerts with local artists. We then moved on to the tasting room and enjoyed the tasting and learning about the wine. Additionally, the tasting room/store is dog friendly and our dogs were a big hit with other visitors. We, too, select the Heroe wine named for the farm workers as mentioned by others. After making our wine selections we found a great spot under a shade tree to enjoy the lush cool grass and enjoy the Sunday afternoon music. I would say this is one winery where you can make a stop for a few hours and relax.

We didn't try the wine as we were on bikes, but we've heard great things about it. The visit is a must see though as the gardens and sculptures are worth it in themselves. Definitely take the time and spend some time in the gardens while enjoying their wine.

Not only were the grounds with all the sculptures beautiful the wine was great. The lady that did our pour was very helpful and very knowledgeable of the wine. We were able to have a great conversation with her and that made the time more enjoyable. Will definitely return!

Perfect end to our girls trip to Paso Robles. Of all the wineries we visited, Sculpterra was our favorite! Amazing ambiance and great tasting wine. Shelly who assisted us in our tasting was so knowledgeable and patient with us. Really wished we had gotten there sooner to be able to enjoy the music more. On the weekends they have live music until 3:30pm so plan accordingly. On our next girls trip we will be returning!

Visited Sunday afternoon and pleasantly surprised to find beautiful grounds, interesting ironworks art, live music, and a nice selection of fine wines at reasonable prices. We enjoyed the tasting and even joined the club. Give it a try, live music on weekends.
My SO and I came to this winery last saturday with our dog to go wine tasting. The sculptures and beautifully maintained grounds will immediately capture your attention. I called ahead to make sure they were dog-friendly and was pleased to hear that we would be allowed to bring ours in to the tasting room so that was a treat for us. This was our first winery to visit in Paso Robles and we loved how affordable it was to get 8 tastings. We enjoyed the Voignier and 2015 Primitivo so we bought a bottle of each. Before leaving we had a nice stroll around the vineyard and our dog was very amused by the mules and deer that were behind the fence :)
