Enjoyed going there for years, love the beach with relief from sun, with shade, food, drinks and entertainment immediately behind you. Will keep going yearly as result

This is a very nice board walk. We had a lot of fun walking it and looking at the shops and games. The only thing I really didn't like was I wanted to see the ocean, as I am from ARIZONA, and they said I had to pay to see it. That was ridiculous. So, needless to say, I didn't see the beach. That is all I have to say about Sea Side Heights Beach

This boardwalk is filthy with individuals walking around looking for drugs and begging for money for their next fix. They come out of bars drunk and starting fights. The boardwalk and beach have garbage all over it and it smells.

Falling behind the times..I love the beach and the shore waves but as a foodie this place is a bad as it gets ..very limited choices and ALOT of over rated places to eat. We had to drive 30 min. For decent italian. When your top rated italian rest. Is a pizza joint on the boardwalk you know it's bad. Some good cafes (Bayside) and beach food essentials,RYANs is great But few and far between .

Amazing and easy place to go to with the family. There is so much to do including rides, arcades, beach, and a bunch of places to eat.

This is my home away from home. I love just walking up and down the boardwalk playing games, arcade, shopping, rides. They have done a lot to it since Sandy which destroyed almost all of it. There used to be 2 piers but now there is only 1. They do not have many ride options but the boardwalk itself is really nice. I love it.

This was our first trip to the Jersey Shore and we weren't sure what to expect. Two years ago we'd gone to Ocean City Maryland's Boardwalk on vacation and were overwhelmed. Fortunately, we liked the Seaside Hts. Boardwalk leaps and bounds more.
The Seaside Hts. Boardwalk is smaller than others we have visited, but it was nicer--it had nicer stores (not just the junky souvenir stores, but also nice beach-y shops). It had a great variety of restaurants, stores, arcades, ice cream shops. Our condo was right on the other side of the street, so we walked over to the Boardwalk every evening to wander up and down. We took time to browse the shops, get ice cream, people watch and ride some of the rides at Casino Pier.
Having seen Ocean City MD and Atlantic City NJ boardwalks made me appreciate the Seaside Hts. Boardwalk even more! I'd definitely go back!

The good thing about this ride is it takes you to the boring side of the boardwalk and you can see the Jersey Shore house . Unfortunate everything on the boardwalk is repetitive same three brothers pizza . Basically no competition in purchasing things cause they are owned by a same owner on each end and so basically your gonna pay the prices they offer . But the sky ride is amazing and great for photos .

Great place. They have added dunes so you can no longer see the the ocean if your standing on the boardwalk.

The Seaside Heights boardwalk is everything you'd expect! Rides, games of chance and soft serve ice cream - all of it says summer!

This boardwalk has everything, something for everyone. From shopping to nightlife. I have enjoyed it both on and off season. The improvements made since superstorm Sandy have also added to this wonderful boardwalk.

We went the Saturday on Labor Day Weekend. Crowds were mainly light on the boardwalk and people mostly socially distanced. People wore masks inside the arcade and in the amusement pier. Rides were a little expensive though. Also, there weren't too many places to eat outside. Most of the restaurants were takeout.

Lots of activists, games, rides, arcades, restaurants. Swimming at the beach. Lots of shops and food everywhere. parking is a pain, but other than that. Bring extra money it can get expensive, especially with kids. Great family day.

I had never visited Seaside Heights before, and I was very pleasantly surprised by how clean the beaches are. The Boardwalk was great too, lots to see and do for people of all ages. Definitely recommend Seaside to others!

We always go to the boardwalk on our trips down the shore. Rides. Games. Food. Overpriced but expected.

We have been coming to this boardwalk since my kids were little and now they are all teenagers and older. I really have noticed the change in this boardwalk and it is more family friendly. Years ago lots of trashy people would come out after 7pm and now it is I feel safer for families. Lots of police too which is great. The shops and food places are all excellent so just take your pick.

Had a really nice time enjoying the boardwalk with all the stores and food as well as going onto the beach. Although it was my first time actually paying to go to a beach but it was very clean expect by the garbage cans.

Expect to pay $8 per adult. Plenty of space for chairs, umbrellas and coolers. The Atlantic is COLD! The beach was clean. It's mostly sand with some shells and rocks. Beware of biting flies!

This is one place that absolutely never changes, well maybe gets worse. Same old stuff for the past 10+ years. Boardwalk is full of really strange people and most of the food is overpriced and sitting around all day.

Seaside Boardwalk went through a very hard spring.
The boardwalk losted 2.5 million dollars in businesses
this spring. Mosted of Memeral weekend was a wash
out. Businesses on the boardwalk are hoping for a
real good summer.
Here is my recommendation for this summer based
on you the employees of the boardwalk.
. Best Fish Taco and Shrimp Taco Park Seafood located
in Seaside Park.
. Best Chicken and Rice with Vegetable, and also Sushi
made right in front of you Beachcomber Seaside Heights.
. Best Mexican Food Montes on the Boulevard Of Seaside
Heights.
. Best Place for Birthday Parties Pier Grill Seaside Heights.
. Best Place For Coffee is Blue Cup Coffee Place Seaside
Heights and Seaside Park.
. Best Place for Cheese Steaks Steaks Unlimited Dupont
Avenue Seaside Heights.
. Best Place for Danish, and Meatball Parm ON THE BOARDWALK
DJ.
. Best place for Porkroll Jersey Porkroll on the boardwalk.
. Best Place for Hershey Ice Cream Sonny and Rickey's Ice Cream
Stand.
. Gyros, George's Pizza

Before or after dinner, stroll this iconic boardwalk. Pizza, sausage sandwiches, soft-serve ice cream, rides, games, souvenir shops, it's all here. Perfect for toddlers through seniors, it's a summer treat.

I haven't visited seaside heights since it was devastated by a hurricane so I didn't know what to expect. The beach is awesome. Plenty of rides for the kids and adults. Lots of games to win prizes and arcades. Cheesefries. Sausage w peppers. Zeppoles. Bars. Lots of food to choose from. Wasn't disappointed. Lots of young people but they behaved. At least the day I visited. Arrive early. Parking. I paid $20 one block away from boardwalk. Actually cheaper than to bring a lot of quarters for metered parking. If you can find it. Nearby hotels were packed w young people. Suggest you stay in nearby seaside park. A lot quieter.

we walked the boardwalk, plenty to see and taste. It was gorgeous that day and hot but you get this nice breeze coming off the ocean with a million dollar view. So much to eat with a great variety.

Beautiful get away area, that offers something for all ages. Many great restaurants, nice night life, and clean beach!

The Seaside Heights Boardwalk is like a step back in time to the 70's and 80's and you are in the land of the 'Jaws' era. The amusements and the arcades are from a different time when people did not have cell phones and actually wanted to have fun.
The restaurants are geared to the shore dining with most items being deep-fried and slathered in sauces. It is so good! On a nice day, it is fun to people watch, snack all day and get hot dogs, pizza, French fries and sausage sandwiches. The beach is really nice as well and it is fun in the off season when not as many people are there and the boardwalk is quiet. It was a nice day for us because it was during the week before the 4th of July activities started.
We had a nice time talking to the merchants, eating our lunch and relaxing by the beach. It is fun on a warm sunny day.

Fun night in the beach and boardwalk. We had a good day walking up and down the boardwalk and the beach.

Seaside Heights is definitely one of the best boardwalks in New Jersey. There are countless places to eat like Midway 3 Brothers and Kohrs, there are many arcades (I recommend Lucky Leo's), and Casino Pier that has carnival games and rides for all ages. This is a very good place to go with children.

THERE ARE NO RAMPS TO THE BEACH THAT GUARRANTEE TO TAKE YOUR MONEY ANY TIME OF THE DAY. Have a carriage full of beach gear? Chairs? Coolers? Baby stroller? Handicapped in some shape or form? The Seaside Beach township has provided you with a steep set of 10 stairs everywhere that is chained and gated until someone is ready to take your money. That’s right folks; no early walks on the beach! Come with a muscleman to carry you or your stuff. How ridilculous!

Brought friends from Sweden. Awesome time . Their first time at the Jersey shore. They were impressed and enjoyed the visit

There was so much to see and do at the boardwalk. Boardwalk is clean. There is something for everyone. Family friendly attractions and plenty of inviting, nice bars, right on the beach! We went during the week and early evening hours so it wasn't rowdy. Very relaxing. Would love to visit again.

Always Great To Come Here When The Beach Closes And Do Some Family Shell Picking At Night , The Gondola By Day Is Great Too !

Visited with my wife for the first time in about 20 years. Brought back many memories. The boardwalk was clean and had many friendly people. We rode the sky tram and enjoyed the views.

It was a beautiful day and the boardwalk wasnt to busy. Lots of things to do, games, food etc
We ended up not going to the beach because you have to pay to enter ( we did not know this!) So we walked around enjoyed the view had some fresh fruit at one of the vendors.
Very clean!

The boardwalk was nice, a bit Honky Tonk. Fried foods, arcade games, gift shops etc. Better suited for families. The beach was beautiful

Good old-fashioned fun complete with rides, boardwalk food (pizza, cotton candy, ice cream, and my favorite Italian sausage sandwich smothered with grilled peppers and onions.
There are two piers.
If I remember correctly, one was more oriented to younger kids with age appropriate games and rides.

Much more variety than Ocean City, rockin' waves on the beach... no rocks or drain pipes to worry about... plan to spend more time next year!

The Seaside Heights boardwalk is much better than it was prior to Hurricane Sandy. It is clean, no smoking, and more family focused. It has lots of great restaurants and activities.

Again, quite expensive but this feels less like they are just trying to get your money. Many of the stands have very delicious food, and the games are fun to play. Good family entertainment.

This had a nice feel for a boardwalk by the beach. Nice and clean. Plenty of good food options including seafood and amazingly large pizza slices and cheesesteaks, funnel cakes etc. we were bummed because rides didn’t start til after 11 am but we really enjoyed our time heree

Everything is incredible!
Forewarning to visitors though.
The parking meters don’t give change, they post this on a tiny sign away from payment on the machine. Very shady…

It is sad that I'm writing this but I've been going to seaside since I was a kid I'm now 48yrs. Old I will never visit seaside again the beach smells like a toilet the people working are not friendly this beach has been turned into a money market . They put up new buildings that now block the view of the ocean I was on the beach at 7am just relaxing enjoying the sunrise with my wife we were told to exit the beach

I love everything there..great people great place to go have fun..I wanna move here..hope to get here this year

A good deal of the Seaside Heights boardwalk is still under repair due to damage caused by a major fire. That said, the boardwalk has a great deal to offer to young and old alike. Great rides, amusements, and of course Jersey food. Not all that much has changed (this is good) since my days as a kid in the 50s and 60s.

Expect the usual arcades, fast food places, games of chance, kitschy shops selling t-shirts, etc. Since we were there in October in the middle of covid-19 season, a lot of things were closed. There was one pier full of amusement rides but it was closed. Wildwood New Jersey's Boardwalk is significantly longer and has many more options.

Spent 150$ on horrible rides with long lines. Then had a 50 ticket backing in a parking spot. Had to look for five minutes to find a sign that gave that information. Will not be returning to seaside heights ever again.

This boardwalk is very family friendly. There are a lot of good places to eat. And the boardwalk has plenty of rides and activities for everyone to enjoy. The waffles and ice cream was delicious. They were doing construction on the boardwalk but it was not to much of an inconvenience. Still had a good day.

The boardwalk was great. We enjoyed ourselves. However the mask rule is not enforced. We were there from Thursday to sunday. Thursday night was great friday and Saturday is when things got really out of hand with no social distancing and no mask wearing. Next time we will only be there for week days. Weekends are a bit much for me. I like to be cautious. Overall we had a great time.

This is a pretty cool Boardwalk on a nice beach. We had a fun day and would certainly go back. There are plenty of places to eat and drink.

A day at the Seaside Heights boardwalk is a perfect time to spend your day. Tons of things to do. Rides, games, boardwalk food, and an awesome beach. Plenty of things for young children to do!

Went to Seaside Heights for the 4th of July stayed at Aztec I always go there pool is nice clean rooms was clean my granddaughter had a great time be back next year 👍🏼

Since Hurricane Sandy hit this Boardwalk the restorations have changed the boardwalk from what it once was. There are different vendors and things to do and see. This is no longer your parents boardwalk! there are still thing to keep the kids entertained.

Had a great time ,many new additions being made.great get away the beach ,the boardwalk, the food .look at pics n go see for urself☺

During the day, the boardwalk is the perfect place to get out of the sun and grab lunch. With plenty of pizza and other restaurants, you don’t have to wander too far from your things on the beach. Coming back at night, the arcades and boardwalk games are great for families and groups of friends!

very clean, freindly. growing family oriented. clean expensive beaches. Job well done getting seaside cleaned up.

Clean, no trouble and plenty of restrooms along the way. Nice mix of shops and restaurants. Nice walkable boardwalk!

Loved the Boardwalk, We stayed at Toms Beach House Rentals and had a GREAT time, Beautiful tiki bars and houses.
We will definitely be back!! to Seaside Heights,

We arrived around noon and stayed till 7:00. We had been visiting busy Philadelphia and decided to drive only 1 1/2 hours to the beach. It was a good choice. Lifeguards are present until about 5:30 and then it's on you to be fully responsible. That's the only kicker. By 6:30, the family environment was changing. Most parents and kids were gone, teens and college kids (some girls with thongs prancing around), and loud rap music began to be heard. For a family getaway for a single afternoon, this was a great relaxing journey. However, the place probably has some interesting stories when the sun goes down.

After passing the repeating sequence of boardwalk pizza, arcade, ice cream shop, t-shirt shops (with an occasional tattoo parlor to break the monotony), Casino Pier opens up with a few very good rides. The new post-Sandy roller coaster Hydrus has an exciting 97 degree first drop, which is why pockets must be emptied and eyeglasses removed (placed into a cubby). The rigged boardwalk games (also designed to empty pockets) are there, but people working are less vocal about your chances of winning a low quality stuffed prize. Some of the crowds are back, the vibe is summery and young, and sometimes it’s nice to experience what you expect, with only a little bit of seedy.

What brings me back to any boardwalk is old memories of what use to be.
Food on the boardwalk was always fun, grabbing a sausage sandwich, cheesesteaks, French fries and ofcourse pizza.
As far as this board walk goes, I guess it's no different then most. Rides for the kids, games for the teenagers and adults. The excitement of the colorful night rides. The shop after shop with overbearing help watching your every move with same sweatshirt, tee shirt stamped on it with the name seaside heights and everything stamped for that matter.
The stores, shopping on the boardwalk not for me, but I'm sure for some.

We visited the Boardwalk several times during our visit to the area; while celebrating our nephew's 50th birthday.
We walked/sat along various sections, both during the day and evening.
There's the usual variety of touristy shops and attractions to explore; with plenty of options to satisfy about any food/drink craving.
We especially enjoyed the evening time; not only because we shared it with family, but also, we could enjoy the music and ongoing parade of passersby.
A great place for a couple of mid-westerners, to experience the stereotypical 'Jersey shore '.

Each year approximately over one million people will play the boardwalk games at
seaside Heights. The wheel games give you the best odds in winning a prize.
The skill games are much harder to win a prize on. Make sure you read the rules
of the game before playing. Before playing look for the prize you want to play for.
If you do not under stand how to play game, ask person who is running the game
to show you how to play the game. Uses your head and know when to walk away from a game.

Nice clean place but prices are high. Eating on the boardwalk every day is going to take you broke very fast. They do offer free activities like fireworks, movie on the beach and some live entertainment. Beach pass costs $8 per day and swimming closes at 5pm weekdays.

Just a real nice place to spend some time. The many large and small amusements are for young and old. The pizza, Ice cream, deep fried everything, polish ices, steaks, burgers and the italian sausage with onions, peppers and sauce are always delicious. Many inside arcades, outside games of chance and clothing shops are interesting. Never a problem on the boardwalk, truly family friendly and safe. The police are not terribly obvious but they are always friendly, approachable and helpful.

Not much to say except it’s been so much fun when I was here last week. I totally recommend this place to families with and/or without children. So much fun and games and rides I got to do when I was here last weekend for Independence Day weekend. I even had a royal blast at the princess pier party just last week with boardwalk royalty and getting photos with the princesses with some photos including me and the princesses with the cranium shaker in the background. Hope to be back here next summer. Even though the 4th of July was the only day I came to the boardwalk with my family (since I came alone to the boardwalk for the next two days after); I still had a blast. From celebrating Independence Day on the boardwalk and the beach; to a spectacular Disney Princess pier party on the boardwalk that would eventually end with a ride on the cranium shaker. I totally recommend this place to all who come to seaside heights during the summer. If you have kids who love the Disney princesses like I do; bring them here on Fridays in the summer; it’s nonstop fun and games for everyone (of all ages). I did enjoy the boardwalk royalty experience with me getting photos with all the princesses that were there just last Friday which were; Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Elsa and Anna. I also enjoyed going on all the rides I went on including the bumper cars; the swings; and of course the cranium shaker. All thrill seekers like me should try the cranium shaker at least once. What a fun time I had; especially at the waterpark. I definitely plan to come back in the future. I also enjoyed the arcade too. Hopefully next summer I can stay a little closer to the boardwalk so I don’t have to travel 30 minutes just to have fun; even though I still loved the place I stayed at courtesy of Airbnb. BEST VACATION EVER!!! GREATEST SUMMER WEEKEND GETAWAY EVER!!!

It's funny sometimes visiting places out of season? You may not get the whole package but on the plus side you don't get the crowds either! We strolled the area on a bitterly cold day (Artic Vortex anyone?) but still got a feel for the area, definitely geared for the sun & kids and the beach area looked very presentable, maybe on the next visit? The pinball parlour was one of the few places open & doing business plus the restrooms were open & heated!

I agree with the other comments saying that it wasnt what I remembered. I havent been since the summer before sandy and it has not been kept up with. I feel as though the rest of the shore has been rebuilt but this place is looking a bit raggedy. I was so excited to come back and visit but this will probably be my last. I usually go to Long Branch and Avon and I dont think ill stray anymore.

Andrea
Today Me and my Mom
took a drive to Seaside Heights.
But first we went on the Sky ride on the board walked. We had lunch at Three brothers pizza and a drink.

Everything is shaping up there. Beautiful beaches, clean restrooms. Wonderful day with friends. Things are a little pricey but all in all fun in the sun and I'll be back soon.if you go , go Early for parking close. Always busy.

Spent 5 nights two blocks off Boardwalk. Spent several days on rides, carnival attractions, eating and shops. Kids, 6, 8 and 10 had a great time. The rides are fun, the shops are like all tourist shops (nothing too special), food was pretty good and the carnival stuff was carnival stuff...

Seaside is still a very good boardwalk, but you will need to save up for a family night out. You will go through $20 just on Ice Cream. Still have some wheel games for 25 cents per play, 5 for $1, allows you to get some entertainment time.

boardwalk has great rides and such. it was decent size and had plenty of food available. kid friendly and good food prices.

I visited at night and was surprised by how alive it was. Very busy, but not too crowded. We visited a couple bars and got boardwalk food. Good times had by all.

I have been coming to the boardwalk for years. It never gets old. I only wish they would broaden their horizons for food options. It is the same stuff every couple feet. I am sure with the melting pot that is NJ they could give you a few more options for eats. I can say that some of the chocolate shops are getting super modern and offering CBD candies and chocolates. I appreciate the keeping with the times even with Seaside being such a family friendly place! Always looking forward to next summer to see whats new!

Great beach and rides. I'm an old guy so people watching is a blast. There was live bands at each end the boardwalk. Lots to do.

This area is such a great place to visit. There is plenty of paid street parking. The board walk is very long with fun at every corner. We enjoyed the rides at the pier. You can get a card for credits and swipe for the rides you want. There are rollee coasters, ferris wheel, carousel. They even have mini golf and the arcades. We enjoyed ice cream and pizza. The place is lit up at night. We could see a live concert. Definitely time well spent here with great memories.

We were there on a weekday in early June and the rides were not open as students were still in school in NJ. The lack of crowds were nice, but my son was hoping for some rides. It was a good afternoon to stroll the shops and arcade games.

"I took my troubles down to Madame Ruth, You know that gypsy with that gold-capped tooth..." The Searchers. So I went to Seaside Heights despite my better instincts. I love the ocean, sea life, white sands, and a salt water breeze, so what am I doing is this carnival they call Seaside Heights. A $5 dollar slice of pizza at Brothers, $10-$20 dollar private parking, $8 dollar beach pass, limited beach passes because of COVID-19, MTV "The Jersey Shore" house tours, Midway Steakhouse selections of burgers, fries and ice cream, sand dunes that obscure the ocean and the Casino Pier which now has a bar along with the best rides on the boardwalk. You know they now have 9 bars within a mile of Seaside Heights not to mentions those on the boardwalk..
For me the best time of year to enjoy Seaside Heights is during the late Fall, Winter or early Spring. If you can not visit at that time, I suggest Seaside Park, especially along the bay, The area is relatively tranquil and has beautiful views of the water. Stroll along from Seaside Park to Island Beach State Park.
The Skyride which takes you along the boardwalk at about 20' above ground level is an interesting way to see Seaside Heights and take photos. It is $4 one way or $6 roundtrip.

Take a walk on the Boardwalk at Seaside... It's gone through some changes over the years.. but still is the best... Take a day to visit , Play the games, Stop and eat or visit the clubs... A Fun time...

the boardwalk !!! food rides games i had not been here in ages will be going back to seaside heights soon

I got to the Seaside Park in the early afternoon and the was a nice crowd walking around. There had been a few restaurants open that afternoon so people were able to order lunch.
The Boardwalk here is not like the and in Point Pleasant with all the bells and whistles. They have their community events here and people watching the football games at the bars.
Most of the restaurants were closed so J had to go into town for lunch. Still is was nice to look at the decorations for Halloween and enjoy the sounds of the ocean and the view of the beach.

The boardwalk was going to walk around on right on the ocean the restroom are clean
You can rent bicycles and ride up and down the boardwalk lots of games to play lots of places to get ice cream candy amusement rides lots of fun you can have

It was so much fun, bringing back years of memories. The rides, cotton candy, pizza etc. Frankie's Balloon Game was the best. Great prizes.

The seaside heights boardwalk was lots of fun! Plenty of things to do and see, never got bored! Reasonable prices on most things made it to be a great time!

Well this was our first stop of the summer let me tell you the water was way better than it normally is it was actually a light green as opposed to the dark brownish black that it typically is I guess those hurricanes brought in some nice water the beach is pretty much normal nice and Sandy no rocks shells or cigarette buds that you have to worry about it's pretty decent because there's no smoking on the beach and no glass bottles they actually search your bags on the way in but if your parent and you have a diaper bag they don't go through it that's the trick to bring your wine on the beach LOL. But be prepared to pay $16 for a beach pass for the day we totally forgot about that because it's not typically where we go during the summer but it was definitely worth it love the boardwalk and the games

We have been going here for the past 10 years the only thing bad about it is it has no walkway for handicapped to get to the beach other than that love the place. Okay how do I send this

First visit by this Toms River native (now living in the Midwest) in many years and since the devastation of Sandy. Had a lovely afternoon strolling the boards, playing arcade games and eating Kohr’s custard with my North Jersey daughter, her husband and our baby granddaughter. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and it looked better than ever!

Not too long, not too short. If you get tired take the ski lift! Plenty of shops and bars, plenty of rides, and of course the beach! Love the boardwalk.

We stayed a block from the boardwalk for a week. It was nice that the kids could head to the rides on the pier or get a slice of pizza. Early morning you can ride a bike on the boardwalk (keep an eye out for pedestrians that aren't looking).

The boardwalk is a blast, a little trashy but in a fun retro way. Lots of rides and arcades, and I felt safe walking around there. Beach is very long and clean. Only complaint is you have to pay $13 to use the beach! Tip: wait til 5pm and the beach is free.

I stayed at a local motel not knowing what to expect. The boardwalk had everything expected plus fireworks! It was clean, friendly, and filled with fun and food.

We decided to see what the Boardwalk was all about on a Sunday afternoon. It is a great place to spend the day, but bring you wallet. You can choose to go to the beach which requires a fee of $8 for the day, play various carnival games of chance, ride the carnival rides which satisfy both kids and adults, ride the overhead chairs from one end of the boardwalk to the other for a fee of $5 round trip per person, or just walk the boardwalk past the bars, restaurants, and gift shops. It is a great way to spend a day with the family. The only downside is the parking, which is not cheap and if you find a parking meter, it is $1.50 per hour and lots of meter readers handing out tickets for overtime parking. There are several lots charging $15 for a full day of parking.

Since we were spending a few days down the shore we decided to take trip to Seaside Heights. This was midweek in the Spring and not too crowded. Much is unchanged, arcades, sausage and peppers, pizza, ice cream and of course the amusement rides. We were curious to see the post Sandy boardwalk. Very happy many families now have the amusement pier as I did a long time ago.

Having lived just a little over a mile away, this boardwalk was my “backyard”... it was my old stomping ground growing up. So many days and nights of my youth spent here in the 1970’s and 1980’s when it was a bustling day and beach crowd and then at night an electric vibe filled the air and was always packed during the summer.
During the off season, it had a serenity that was just as stimulating. Trekking through the snow on the boardwalk to spend a stack of quarters in the arcade or to get a pizza from Maruca’s. Even though I had since moved away, I introduced my son there shortly after he was born and made at least one annual visit with him for the years that followed, but then hurricane Sandy hit and not only were the objects of my childhood memories destroyed but so were the lives of those living in close proximity. Then, about a year later, a fire destroyed a number of blocks of establishments on the southern end of the boardwalk. It has been six years that have pasted and sadly that section has not been rebuilt and much of the remaining attractions are in disrepair. There are some new attractions such as the Hydra roller coaster that replaced the old Jet-Star on the newly repaired Casino Pier but then there are attractions like the Roof-Top Golf which was once a highlight but is now a disgrace. They have not put any money into doing anything with it and lost at least one rooftop because it used to be 24 holes vs 18.
This boardwalk is one third of what it was before the storm/fire six years ago and it is a shame... very depressing.
I guess the interest just is not there to spend the money needed to rebuild it to what it was before.
Those who never visited before would likely compare this to others and say it is just average.

If you want to be near a bathroom, you should park near the beach house on the street. It's not too far from the golf course range on the street

Great day at the beach playing in warm waves. Purchased wrist bands to use beach. Sadly high winds closed down the Sky Ride. Very few shells when we were there.

Enjoyable last minute get alway. We enjoyed the beach. It was very clean sand not overly crowded. You do need beach passes.
The dunes do hinder the scenic view, but I know they are important for the ecosystem. Plus the beach at the waterline also drops down to the ocean.
Regardless we had a very enjoyable time. We didn’t spend a lot of time on the boardwalk but did manage some souvenirs.
Our motel was perfect for location and was also very quiet
With a nice size pool. Will definitely consider going back again.

We really liked Seaside, same boardwalk feel as Wildwood but we found much calmer. Beach was great, nice waves. 4 blocks wide and 17 streets long. Lots of rental properties and motels to choose from. Personally we prefer to rent a house since it feels more like a home away from home. Definitely going back to Seaside.

Great boardwalk. Lots of shops, food, and an amusement park right along the boardwalk. Walk to ocean from boardwalk. Everything right there for you.

Everyone and their brother are on vacation. All walks of life.. can’t judge others here .. they are doing the same as you. Enjoying there family time. Boardwalk was entertaining people doing tricks and looking for a tip. Hula hoop girl is amazing, so is the artist that does chalk drawings

Walking the boardwalk can be kaiotic sometimes, especially with all the younger people but it overall a good time. Just wish the arcades had some better quality items to win.

After the devastation from Superstorm Sandy and then a fire on the boardwalk, they are slowly getting back to what used to be on the boardwalk. They have added some new rides and a lot of new businesses at the end (where the fire occurred) near the Sawmill. We visited Labor Day and were very surprised at how much they had added since Memorial Day! I've been going there for over 30 years and my daughter loves when we take her there. She misses the carousel and shooting gallery that was consumed in the fire as well as the Sweet shop where we got our taffy but she will always have her favorite memories. I highly recommend checking out the new additions to the boardwalk!

Boardwalk is a little smaller compared to others in jersey! Pizza seems to be the big thing down there the large slices. Most games are like carnival games sort of a rip, couple of nice places to eat. Not very crowded during the week Saturday was a little more intense the usual knucklehead's but a very big police presences. If you want big boards head to Wildwoods if you want small hit the Heights..Beach was nice and clean.

We visited the most times in many years. A lot of new construction and the place is becoming more upscale. We had a great lunch at the Ocean Club (next to the new cabanas). Tasty items and great drinks.
The boardwalk is coming back with games and rides.

there was a ton of stuff for the kids to do, awesome rides and short lines. many restaurant and beach access.

Facing North on the boardwalk left side is odd numbers,
and even numbers on right side of boardwalk. This will
give you a better under standing of the Seaside Heights
and Park Boardwalk.

I loved it we had so much fun I'll be back soon it was very beautiful very nice stores and also food places.

this place is too busy for me,always crowded on boardwalk, dirty and you spend alot of money, some of the hotels on the boardwalk are old and ask for too much money. Streets are very busy with alot of young kids riding bikes or driving there hot cars.

When we arrived, we were unaware it was fee to go on the beach. Then when we were done we noticed they didn’t have any changing area’s, we then tried to use the bathroom and was told that we couldn’t change our wet clothes and the police was called. This was my first time there and my experience was horrible. We felt racially discriminated against because it was several people in front of us who went in and changed their clothes, but when it was our time it was a problem and the police were called. If people can’t change their clothes in bathrooms then they need to have changing rooms for people who pay to use their beaches. This is very unacceptable and disturbing to say the least. We had to change our clothes in our car in broad day light. How crazy is that. Obviously they don’t care. This is my first and last time there.

Cute ocean front stands and businesses. Visited for a couple of hours on a Wednesday. Disappointed that you do have to pay to go on the beach. We enjoyed walking the length of the boardwalk.

what can I say, it's a boardwalk! pretty much the same as others. we were there in September early in the week so a lot of places were closed

The boardwalk has been mostly restored since hurricane Sandy & is peaceful & pleasant after you leave the crowds at the Casino Pier

It was a long time since being here. Lots of things to do for all ages. There was a couple of decent restaurants if you didn't want the normal boardwalk fare. Lots of lively entertainment.

The beach experience was terrible not only did they charge 8$ each of my family but the beach was covered in flies,no one enjoyed the beach we were to busy trying to get flies off us or spraying them with the 12$ spray we had to buy while there...any time u are entering a place the person u r purchasing tickets should let u know the conditions of the place...the flies were every where even when we went to get something to eat at pizza shop they were flies dead flies everywhere🤢🤮 most horrid place ever...will never travel to that crappy beach every again...now I know y Jersey shore was allowed to be filmed there cause it attracts crap n flies...

This has been rebuilt since the hurricane and is a beautiful boardwalk. We had dinner and fun walking the boardwalk. The games and rides are a trip to the past. Great fun for the kids.

Seem like the shops are all owned by the same people. As soon as you walk in some one was there trying to sell.Prices were way high compared to the past.

I have been going to Seaside Heights NJ for many years, always liked it there. We took our kids there on the rides when they were young. Unfortunately the boardwalk took big hit from hurricane sandy and a lot of the rides were ruined. Then a year later there was a huge fire on a large portion of the boardwalk and a lot was destroyed. They are just starting to rebuild some of the boardwalk that was lost but it is slow going and the place is not what it was. They never rebuilt the Carousel pier which was my favorite spot, full of rides and arcade games. Maybe someday they will.

A very typical board walk games shops rides and all the “boardwalk food you could want. It’s the extras that make Seaside stand out. Free concerts on the beach and boardwalk free movies for adults and kids. Bond fires fireworks and other family activities daily. Oh yeah there’s a beach too

Had lots of fun on the boardwalk. The rides are awesome! Very reasonable. Food was average, but that’s what I expect from a beach boardwalk.

well we decided to go to the beach after arriving at our motel. Got everything all loaded in our beach wagon, chairs, towels, cooler with waters and drinks,
Had to buy a beach pass $10 pp. then we got all of our bags checked, no alcohol is allowed on the beach! Wtf? There were airplanes flying by all day advertising different kinds of alcohol. What a bust!
Our motel only allowed 1 car on its property per unit.
Others had to either find street parking ( meter) it's was either $2 or $3 per hour. Or find a parking lot that gouged their prices to park there, absolutely ridiculous, ill never go back to Seaside Heights again! Hope you have lots of money!!

Almost a step back in time to a simpler time. Lots of food and carnival games available and there's also a nice little amusement park there with a nice variety of rides. Take a ride on the chair lift to see the boardwalk from one end to the other - it's $3 one way or $5 round trip.

Charming and Family freindly venue... not aggressive except on busy season. I found it a nice mix of people. The local business are good people. This is a good trip with freinds, a date, family, even work
.
The food was all delicious and not overpriced.

We Rushes - the Smiths and Talon and family love it here :)
So much to do and the hotels are nice :)
LULU and Moi to buy a house here :)

It was labor day weekend and my b’ day too ( 1-Sep-19). I am trying to cover all the beaches and boardwalk on Jersey shores and Seaside was my 13th Beach on this shore. Roadside parking was 1.5/hr and you can get private parking ranging $10-20 for the whole day. boardwalk seems to be very old but was it less charming? NO… I liked the vibe, crowd and shall I mention the cleanliness of the beach? Beach pass is $8 for the whole day but you gotta see the beach. It's clean as anything. Dunes are shaped perfectly, they are preserving everything along the beach so not a bad deal. There are many counters to enter the beach area.
You can find plenty of options in restaurants and bar. Games, arcade shops, ice cream, pizza shops parlor wat else is not here. Casino pier is the biggest attraction of this boardwalk and SKYRIDE was the biggest attraction of this amusement park. $4 for one side and $6 for both sides. Trust me rather than going on big ferry wheel ( $6 for 2 just 2 rounds), this sky ride is worth your money. App 5 min ride time and you can watch boardwalk and beach from the top. There are like 100s of rides in this park. Heaven for kids. Overall well evening spent with my cute wife.

A great time in Seaside Heights. We enjoyed the beach and the Casino Pier. We booked a week of vacation and enjoyed the town as a family visiting several of the attractions daily.

Such a great town and boardwalk! We absolutely love it here.... great shops, rides, games.... clean and great entertainment weekly

I went in the fall, after the high season, and it was fantastic! Very peaceful and beautiful! I highly recommend going in the off season for a relaxing vacation.

We could not go in the ocean over 12 inches deep or move in the water because of the Lifeguards. The Lifeguards blow whistles and scream literally every minute. The longest interval between blowing and screaming Lifeguards I timed was 1 minute and 38 seconds. The adults did not want to trample the small children playing in the 12 inches of permitted ocean water so most didn't or couldn't even play with their children in the water. Your children will be screamed at constantly for moving or playing with toys. You can not play or relax. You will be accosted by the beach patrol in the morning because most children and adults are up and on the beach before the horrible lifeguards come to scream and blow loud whistles all day, every minute. There are threatening loud speaker announcements by the beach patrol morning and evening threatening beach patrons with fines, imprisonment, or both for enjoying the beach without them. The Lifeguards all illegally get on the back of a beach patrol pick up truck with lights on to parade themselves off of the boardwalk at 5pm every night and good riddance. Most adults and certainly every Veteran knows about rope and how to throw a rope. If someone is having a heart attack or other medical emergency, most people can dial 911. We had the best time as soon as the Lifeguards left. Playing football, volleyball, and dancing in the waves. The sounds of the Ocean and laughing children. We didn't lose anyone. Not even a close call. We made friends with the Army, Air Force, Marines, and Navy Veterans who all agreed these Lifeguards lack any real emergency or disaster experience. We had everything we needed to help without calling attention to ourselves constantly. It was a real bonus when the dolphins came up in the waves to play with us. Still, I'd recommend another beach like Long Beach Island, Cape May, or Ocean City unless it doesn't bother you to stand and not move in 12 inches of water and listen to constant loud whistles and screaming.

Very run down and trashy . Spare yourself the aggravation and opt for a Delaware or Maryland beach , you’ll thank me later . It’s almost as if these Jersey beaches want to do away with tourists all together .

Awesome day at the boardwalk.
I am a first timer.
Fun, Food, Family!!!!
Closer to home
Clean!!!!!!
Ample Parking lots-
Great People!
We loved it!
Hurricane Sandy took it away!
The locals brought it back!
Nature Concerns!
Flies, flies, flies!!!!!!
Seagulls everywhere!!!!

Beach was clean and nice long boardwalk very much a carnival atmosphere with the high prices to match. Lot of locals and a working mans type of crowd but very pleasant. A change from all the upper class of the Carolina beaches. Great for a long weekend beach trip from Pittsburgh

My husband & I just got home (Florida) after Spending a wonderful 3 weeks in Seaside Heights, NJ. Weather was perfect, Seaside Heights Boardwalk was amazing, clean and full of Families like it used to be! Ocean felt great & sun...quite bright. We had an amazing visit with our family & friends. We cannot wait to visit again next summer, 2022.

We used to visit Seaside Heights often. My husband would fish on the Casino Fishing Pier while I would run the boardwalk then hang out on the beach. We'd meet up in the late afternoon to walk the Boardwalk and grab a bite to eat. Since Sandy they didn't rebuild the fishing pier and we don't do rides anymore. You can't get a clear view of the ocean from the Boardwalk because of the dunes. Because the dunes block the breeze from the Ocean there's a lot of biting flies more often. Nothing for us there anymore. It's really for the kids now.

Since the rebuild, this is so nice, bright and clean. Easy ride access and again, the staff are so helpful and cheery. Night time lights are awesome!!!

1900 to 1920 Promenade section of the boardwalk is under construction. Eight brandnew buildings are being built and will hopefully be ready by this summer.
This will being back business to the promenade section of the boardwalk.

I took my family to Seaside for a long weekend. The boardwalk was a great place to visit. It is just what you would expect of a New Jersey boardwalk. The boardwalk never gets old. You h as ve all of the old and new attractions. It's a nice place to spend time with family.

Had a blast! Felt like a kid again. Enjoyed the sky ride, roller coaster and tons of boardwalk favorite foods. I'll be back!

Ok...not quite like that, but this place was left for dead after Sandy, and now has really turned a corner and looks great. Walking along the boardwalk really brings back childhood memories that make me tear up.... Or that just might be the salty air from the majestic jersey shore. A must to do on any trip along the shore.

Great getaway. Plenty to do on the boardwalk for 3 days. (Tops)
Great food, rides, games n beach.
Clean boardwalk, bathrooms n beach. Fun time n will absolutely return!

I swear that every time I go to one the New Jersey Boardwalk towns I am taken back to the 1970’s when we would go to the shore for the weekend. I always feel like I am in high school again. Maybe it’s the old time businesses and the lack of cell phones.
I like the selection of restaurants and pizzerias to choose from, there are a lot of nice rides and games to choose from and if you do not like that there is always the beach. What is also nice is the number of public bathrooms available for the patrons.
At night it is the sites, sounds and smells that let you know that you are at the shore. The lights and laughter show that people are having a good time.

I like walking it at night - nothing I'm interested in as far as games - it's a major waste of money

Quick visit after a morning at Island Beach State Park. I had read some reviews which said the Seaside Boardwalk was nicer since Sandy and I disagree. It’s worse than it was 20 years ago. Extremely dirty and filled with yucky people. As we entered, 2 low life girls were sharing a blunt. Didn’t make it to the amusements since we were so grossed out. Seaside Heights still living up to its Jersey Shore reputation.

There was a lot of construction on the boardwalk when I was there in June, not a deal breaker, but with heavy equipment rolling around I was fearful with my little one. I was in seaside several years ago before the hurricane and I loved this boardwalk. It's just not the same anymore, and I waited to come back because I figured all the construction would be done by now. But it's just not the same vibe to me.

The area of the boardwalk that has the attractions and arcade and restaurants is nice clean and modern with straight and fresh boards....easy to walk on. After a while it gets much more uneven and harder to walk on. I'm not sure how long it is ,as I did not get to walk the whole length

Our family of cousins used to gather at Seaside as children. Although I had returned after Sandy, this was my first visit since the fire.
The Himalaya is back but in a different form. In fact, Casino Pier (or whatever) is almost back at a significantly reduced level.
The Funtown area and everything up to the area before the Beachcomber is gone.
I posted photos of some construction and restored storefronts. There are no Union Jacks but Lucky Leo’s remains. Prizes are not as cool or maybe I am too old. Loved my nostalgia trip. Only rated it average because it’s not complete.
The sausage and peppers hut is still there. It was so comforting to have familiar smells of such happy times with family

Seaside Heights beach and boardwalk is very nice for families and teens. Lots of food and Entertainment. The beach is nice. Right next to it is Tom's River and that has a lot of stores and Restaurants.

This place has gotten better over the years. Lots of families and fun events but it can still get a bit rough. This place is fun to go and people watch for sure. It's one of my guilty pleasures.

We visit a few times a summer and sometimes even take the drive down to walk along the boardwalk during the other months as well. It’s definitely not what it was but it’s still very fun. It is extremely expensive however and the claw games are becoming a scam- opening before they even lift up.

Beach is one of our family's most fav place to go to and this seaside heights beach was just perfect for our summer Saturday outing. We went as a group of 6 families, all with young children and had a ball! Played in the beach for nearly 4 hours and after our play time, boardwalk had an impressive collection of eateries to feed us. We were told not to miss the delicacy "funnel cake" - tried them; they were good, but not great. Loved the pizzas. After dinner, we did a quick walk across the boardwalk to try some games, but were reminded that " the house always wins" ;) nevertheless, we all had a great time and made some good memories!

We enjoyed the 4th of july fireworks and walking around the boardwalk. There are rides and arcades. Plenty of food. Everything is just overpriced. $5 for a balloon game and arcade claw machines are not worth it. The rides are fun. My son enjoyed going to the different rides. There is a crazy one which goes really high. There were massive crowds on july 4th. The parking got very expensive. So you need to come early and walk a few blocks.

Summer at the shore means lots of trips to the boardwalk. Nice crowds, good boardwalk food, love the ferris wheel and can't resist a few trips to the arcade. Park Seafood, Maruca's Pizza, Upstairs at Spicys Overlooking the beach and the Shake Shop are not to be missed. A nice place to stroll on summer nights with something for everyone.

Too many biting flies on everyone in Seaside Heights... but the pizza and ice cream were great! A lot of parking available. I think one beach down, Island Beach State Park was worse with the flies. Overall, when the winds are blowing from the West (the bay and marshes) the flies travel with the wind to the beach and feed. They say that from mid June to mid Aug is the worst. Bug spray does not help. IB Pro helps with biting inflammation to the point where there is hardly any inching and red bumps... Or I just got lucky relative to most.

My sister and I took the kids for a few nights to Seaside. We enjoyed the boardwalk and what it had to offer. We found it to be very clean with a lot of different food options . Amazing street corn at the Cuban hut and great tacos at the Mexican hut by the arcade. Blue Cup had the best bagels and iced coffee. We had a lot of fun at the Sonnys Arcade- the workers were awesome and the kids won a lot of great prizes

The board walk was maintained extremely clean and I felt very safe. There is police officers and armed security all over the board walk. There is a lot of food choices. I really enjoyed my time at Seaside hights.

Lots of stores, eateries, game venues, pier with rides, so a good place to stroll, enjoy the background of the beach and surf, on a bright sunny or even overcast day.

I like the improvements made on the newer part of boardwalk, cute beach bars and sandy spots to sit and eat. Beach was clean.

We had a perfect vacation & both girls & boys were thrilled & exhausted from all the fun we had. Definitely going back again. Great family fun!!

One of my favorite places! My favorite thing is the Sky Ride where you ride over the top of the boardwalk in something resembling a ski lift. Great view of everything from up high. Good variety of shops and restaurants to eat at, as well as rides and games. A favorite of mine is Lucky Leo's arcade. Also went to the Shore Store where we took a tour of the house that the show Jersey Shore was filmed in. Great way to spend a day, and will definitely be back

Seaside Heights is a classic Jersey Shore destination. The Boardwalk is definitely worth a visit. Be prepared to see an array of interesting people on display. Bring a can of disinfectant and spray yourself liberally, as needed. This town has a reputation for attracting seedy folk from all over. It is definitely not a place of refinement or class. Here, you will find games, arcades, rides, bars, boardwalk foods (pizza, sausage sandwiches, zeppoli, and various other heart-attack inducing delicacies), crabs, etc. Very distinct daylight versus nighttime vibes here! Fist fights are not uncommon. Police are always on patrol. There is a very nice, large beach. We enjoyed our visit!

Yes I can definitely see the updates, but I must say 8 dollars for the beach,5.50+for a slice of pizza 5.50+for icecream,4.50for a bottle of water .really ??I love seaside but these are things for family's .we are giving you our business n you take n take.wildwood boardwalk has buy 1 get 1 breakfast, buy 1 get 1 dinners n $1.00 slices of pizza would love to see that at seaside more family's would come n spend more on games.becsuse as you can see not many family's spend there money on games, because family's have to eat.

I’ve been coming here for years. There was a time it was going downhill but it seems to be getting nicer again. You can only go on the beach with a badge from here. You also pay for parking with a meter, or in a paid parking lot if you’re going to be the whole day. They have attendants for the lots during the day. Otherwise it’s your usual boardwalk, games, food, some clubs at night with music. Great pizza. Souvenirs. I never leave the boardwalk without Funnel Cake. It is the best!

A bit smaller than a few other boardwalks we gave gone to but had a great time. Quite a few rides for the kids and even a few the adults went on. Rotating music concerts, fireworks on the beach, and free movies on the sand. Plenty of stuff to do for everyone.
Some good food (We did the tacos on Webster, the 3 brothers pizza, and the cheese steak sandwiches at the original steak place) all great. Plenty of food options but not alot of quality sit down places ....normal boardwalk food. Some decent drink places such as spicys. No breweries to my dismay but I found enough craft beer to get by.
An easy walk from one end to the other and it looks like alot of construction going on and a few places for sale or lease so Could be some growth coming up. The beach is so close too that it was easy to go from beach to boardwalk for anything we needed. We had a great time!

Seaside had it's down years with lots of freaks and wierdo's not to mention gangs and crime but I am happy to report that is all in the past. We went to visit several times this summer and the change is immediately noticeable. Families and strollers abound, the rides are filled with happy visitors and the whole area feels safe to stroll and explore. Live bands on the boardwalk, family movie nights, fireworks all go toward making this a fun filled place to visit. For all the damage Sandy did (not to mention the fire) it's happy to see that Seaside is back and fast becoming the same friendly, family oriented place it used to be. Keep up the good work.

Is seaside heights boardwalk open between sep 10 through 13 the rides and games and stores are they open

We went to the Wind Jammer in seaside heights for a girls week. This place was awesome, friendly owners, clean ever thing was right there. Restaurant Bar the cook has a great menu and food. close by was a liquor store, ice cream place. The beach was right across street. Pools awesome. Everyone there was so friendly.
We loved it can’t wait till next year! Very accommodating.

Tourist trap, but as expected for a boardwalk in a tourist town. Clean and well monitored by security(mostly brand new since the hurricane went through). If fried foods, arcades, souvenir shops, expensive rides, candy stores and ice cream shops are your thing, this is the place for you.

Always crowded but you couldn't feel any safer. There is plenty of police always visible. Lots of fun shops and restaurants to visit and plenty of people watching to go around.

I grew up in South Jersey and have been to many of the southern Jersey beaches but this was my first visit to Seaside Heights. It definitely has more of a "North Jersey" attitude and feel. That being said it was an overall enjoyable experience. Parking is best on the municipal lots, which were about 2 blocks from the boardwalk, where it is $2/ hr and you pay the machine with cash or credit card. That is better than $20 for 8 hours in private lots. I have to say that there were police and security always patrolling on the streets, boardwalk and the beaches. The lifeguards were attentive. They are very serious about the beach tags and you cannot enter the beach without one on. They also check bags for glass and alcohol when entering the beach (the couple in front of us with 2 kids had to have the mom go back to the car to put their alcohol away). The boardwalk is fun, not overly long but a decent variety of things to do/eat. The Casino Pier was fun-some rides for teens but probably more rides for younger kids.

I liked the Sky car ride on the boardwalk. The rides were great for the kids and adults.
Lots of places to eat along the boardwalk.

This was a great visit. Boardwalk looked great. Sandy did it a favor. The whole area looked great. Great food and the rides were really good. My kids loved it.

Great day on the boardwalk, fun to see new stands up with new stores and food available. Pizza at Sawmill reliably huge and delicious- brought home half. Sat by the ocean for a lovely day.

Spent a few days at a area hotel, walked the boardwalk several times. Games and rides are overpriced but expected. Had fun at old standbys, skee ball, wheels and claw grabs. Wouldn't be the Jersey shore without the boardwalk.

I DECIDED TO TAKE A TRIP TO SPICY'S BAR AND GRILL DURING THE OFF SEASON. THE FOOD AND SERVICE WERE EXCELLENT. THE BARTENDERS .WERE VERY ACCOMMODATING . NOT ONLY DID I ENJOY MYSELF WITH THE ATMOSPHERE BUT THE ENTERTAINMENT WAS OUTSTANDING. THERE WAS A MIDDLE-AGED GENTLEMEN NAMED BRYAN BREATHES WHO WAS PERFORMING WITH HIS GUITAR AND HARMONICA. WHAT I DIDN'T REALIZE WAS THAT HE HAD A LOT OF FOLLOWERS THAT FOLLOW HIM. I LISTENED TO HIM AND WAS ASTONISHED AT THE MUSICAL VIBES IN HIS REPERTOIRE . HE PLAYS ONE SONG AFTER ANOTHER FROM ALL DIFFERENT MUSICIANS. THE UNIQUE THING ABOUT BRYAN IS THAT YOU THINK YOU ARE LISTENING TO 6 DIFFERENT MUSICIANS WHEN , IN FACT HE PLAYS IN DIFFERENT TONES OF HIS VOICE MAKING THE SOUNDS ATTRACTIVE TO THE HUMAN EAR. HIS VOLUME OF HIS MUSIC IS VERY SOOTHING TO THE EAR AND HIS AUDIENCE IS ENGAGED THE ENTIRE TIME. HE HAS A GOOD RAPPORT WITH HIS AUDIENCE AND TAKES PERSONAL REQUESTS TO PAY FOR THEM. HE HAS A WEALTH OF KNOWLEDGE IN THE MUSIC WORLD WILLING TO SHARE HIS THOUGHTS TO THE LISTENERS THAT HAVE COME TO HEAR HIM. ONE CAN NOT HELP BY ABSORBING SOME OF BRYANS' TECHNIQUES THAT HE PORTRAYS TO HIS LISTENERS. IF YOU GET THE OPPORTUNITY TO VISIT SPICY'S ENJOY THE FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE AND BE SURE TO SEE IF THE ENTERTAINER,, BRYAN BREATHES, IS PERFORMING. THAT IS ONE SHOW YOU WILL NOT WANT TO MISS. K. BOWDEN, LAVALLETTE New Jersey

We walked the board walk after dinner and it is you typical small sea town board walk, clean and felt safe, it wasn't too crowded while we were there. It has everything it should shops, arcades, carnival rides, steak sandwiches, ice cream and water ice, lots of things to see and do, if you are into board walks. It gave my grandson his first boardwalk experience because he is used to more natural beaches like Assateague National Seashore in VA., that have no board walks.

We have been going to seaside for years and usually have a great time. This year we got a parking pass that came with the renal and was told it could be used at any metered spot. Come to find out NO not any metered spot after receiving a ticket for $45. I went to ask why I received a ticket and found out the big money making spots are not included and they have no signs indicating that. So be careful Seaside will get every penny they can out of you

1. Each person needs to buy an $8 beach tag which is a paper wrist band they FORCE you to wear and not just have near you. So you get a wet, soggy band around your wrist if you go in the water.
2. No alcohol. At all. Not even in cans.
3. Life guard made my 2 year old niece take off her swim floats to go in the ocean. Enough said.
I would definitely suggest going somewhere else like the state beach further down the coast. Don't spend your money here. Not worth it.

Stay away from the balloon dart game booth next to Jimbos on the boardwalk in seaside heights. Operator from New Orleans is a CROOK. He steals from children and belittles women.

The rides are very very expensive. However the atmosphere is really cool and you feel very safe. There are police officers every 100 or so feet ensuring you have a family friendly place to enjoy.

Everything was nice except for the 7-11 on the main road in seaside heights. Very rude employee Donna. I was looking for a lid for my drink. She was rude and made me feel stupid bc I couldn't find one. When I told her that I was on a walk she said " so don't take it" with worst attitude. We go to seaside several times a year. Stay in BEST motel. Sunburnt motel. They are the best. They really need to shut down rude companies like 7 11

first time ever to a jersey beach and this one was perfect! my friend and I got our ear pierced at this one place that was 20$ dollars cheaper on the boardwalk,so shop around

So many options for food! Great service, clean, and very safe. Lots of security personnel walking around. Arcades were also very family friendly.

Grew up coming to Seaside in my younger years. Our whole family gathered here as did many others like us. So many great memories.
A great Boardwalk with great food and attractions and a wonderful beach!

Seaside Heights boardwalk is in need of having a anchor business to the north
and south. This would help out small business on the boardwalk. A large investor
is needed to build a second amusement pier.

While on a trip to the beach in Toms River with my family. We decided to head to the seaside heights boardwalk. The whole family went and we had a great time. The kids got some tickets for rides and the rest of us enjoyed the brightly lit scenery.
There was so much to do and lots and lots of food. We had ice cream that was gigantic and the kids loved it. One thing I really like was all of the police and security in the area to make you feel safe. Next time I will be going on an empty stomach to try some giant slices of pizza and funnel cake.
The parking was affordable and available. You can’t miss this attraction and it is worth your time.

One of six major Boardwalks at the Jersey Shore, geared toward familiies. Famously featured in the MTV Jersey Shore show. Retail stores, famous Jersey Shore foods, mini-golf, water park and rides. One of the top 100 Things to Do at the Jersey Shore in my book. Learn more at #100thingsjerseyshore

Friday night there wasn't as much open but still lots to do. Rides were going all day Saturday and because off season you could walk around without bumping into anyone. Very clean.

We have not been to Seaside Heights for a very long time and we were very happy to see how nice they have repaired the boardwalk after the hurricanes and the fire.

The board walk is great. In the morning its a nice walk and u can see some runners and people on bicycles. During the day isn’t not too bad, hot and not very crowded. Then night time it’s also beautiful to walk and get ice cream and take in the ocean air.

Had alot of fun cant wait to do it again LOVE the JERSEY shore went fishing catch a shark did some crabbing

One place which has some of the best games on a beach broadwalk
It will keep children , young people and elders busy and you would be able to have a lot of fun
Try the skyscraper ride - sure it will be one if those rides you would have a dreamed of
To close the day take the cable car ride

Not much changes here, but for some people that is good. The new section at the end looks like it will have a nicer shops and some newer things than the same old stuff. Kind of a fun way to spend a summer night.
The beach is also pretty good; the lifeguards really pay attention, do not allow those huge holes that people dig [why, I never know!] and do get everyone out of the water when the beach closes at 5 PM. The only thing that is annoying here like all the beaches lately is the amount of tents people feel the need to bring to the beach. There are many really beautiful campgrounds around where these people need to go. All you need here is a chair, umbrella and towel.
The large tents take up so much space and the little ones that sit on the beach obstruct views of anyone behind them. Many parents complained that they cannot see the kids playing on the shore with those tents. There is a sign saying they are not allowed, but no enforcement.

Amazing how clean the boards were, no trash anywhere. The kids enjoyed the shops, the wheels and rip-off games we only allowed them to try a couple. Even a 10 year old knows not to wast their money there! Amusement pier was great for them, a 2
Hour wristband was the perfect solution to the crazy per ride prices. We were surprised to see how clean everything was there, so kudos to the crew in charge of that!

The boardwalk is not very long and can easily be walked. There are a number of options for food and games. There are several venues which serve adult beverages right on or overlooking the boardwalk. The amusement pier looked very nice with many rides. Beach size was okay. We thought the beach tags were pricey. We visited during a weekday in the late afternoon while on vacation.

Nice boardwalk enjoyed the rides nice arcades food and nice beach... close to the hotelwe we ere staying at :)

The Seaside Heights Boardwalk has a range of age appropriate activities, arcades, a pier with amusements rides suited for adults and children, fun games, shopping and nightlife.

My girlfriend lives close to Seaside Heights, so we went for the day and explored the boardwalk. Prior to this visit I had a negative view of Seaside Heights because I dislike a MTV show that was filmed here in the late 2000's and early 2010's. I decided to put aside my opinions and check it out because the weather was very nice and it wasn't far away as I stated before. This boardwalk isn't as good as Ocean City, but it was nice. The best arcade was Lucky Leo's and we enjoyed the round trip sky ride from one end of the boardwalk to almost the end of another (doesn't quite go to the other end). Put aside your biases and visit if you're nearby.

We went at night. We easily found a parking lot. $10. Of course the games and rides are crazy expensive but we had braced ourselves for that! It was clean. Crowd was fine. Bathrooms available.

We have been going to the boardwalk for years it started to get very run down . After the storm and the fire it just all started to get better. It's very nice now. Try it

Great place to people watch, catch a bite to eat, or just enjoy the scenery. It wasn’t over crowded however we went Thursday evening and a bit yucky out. People were very nice and helpful. Prices are over the top. Food wasn’t very good. Pizza looked like it had been sitting there for quite a while. Couldn’t understand why they would make so much pizza to let it sit. Plus how long do they let those things sit before it’s considered unsafe to eat? Questionable to me. Also DO NOT get the henna tattoo. The guy was nice however the tattoo is no longer visible after 3 days ( was supposed to last 3wks) save your money for something else. Make sure you go through the jersey shore house... it was so fun! I wasn’t to excited at first but my girls talked me into it. I am so glad we did it! Probably one of the funnest things we did!

We stayed for 5 days and it simply wasnt enough! Cant wait to return next summer! The beach is beautiful & clean, the boardwalk has everything under the sun & everyone we met was so nice!!!!! Yes! We WILL be back!!!!!!

Part of the boardwalk is still being rebuilt but it’s gorgeous and a wonderful place to visit and enjoy the beach the salt water air and the amusement rides and attractions in the area

I went there Labor Day weekend nobody had on masks most of the restaurants and the servers and the cooks had no masks on there was no social distancing at all and nobody seem to care

The boardwalk is a cool place to explore. Lots of little shops, restaurants and games. My teens of course loved the Shore Store. If you visit make sure you spend the extra $10 and do the tour of the Jersey Shore house. It’s super cool to be in the place the show was filmed!

This is nothing like the Seaside Boardwalk I remember from years ago. The Boardwalk was clean and beautiful! Most visiting were families and couples. Workers on the boardwalk were courteous and smiling. The beach looked glorious 😍. Area surrounding the boardwalk looked fine & clean. Living down the shore I use to just visit Point Pleasant & Wildwood. Definitely adding Seaside to the list!!!

The DUNES BLOCK THE VIEW and the ocean breeze. They need to be under the fences so everyone can see.

Took a lot minute day trip to Sea Side Heights today - have not been here in years. We had a great time! Boardwalk has a carnival like atmosphere. Variety of shopping and games and good rides too. Visited a few of the arcades, recommend staying away from the arcade that has a carousel in it. This arcade was very expensive compared to the others. Also, none of the crane games in this arcade gave any prizes - we watched many people feed money into these machines and no one was winning. We also had lunch at this arcade and the food was cold (pizza) - and staff was somewhat rude. However overall was a nice day except for the expensive arcade with the rude people in it. Also the beach tags are a little pricey if you have more than one person with you.

This was my first quick trip to the Jersey Shore . We were in town visiting family . I will be honest, I only went to see the Shore Store because of the show “Jersey Shore “ . I was pleasantly surprised to see Danny there , working . The staff was super nice . We did a tour of the house and it was really fun and only $10. Orlando was our tour guide . He was a really nice guy !
The boardwalk has been updated after hurricane Sandy and was really nice . It was early in the morning so it wasn’t busy .
It was very fun to see it in person . Even if you aren’t a Jersey Shore TV fan, I highly recommend checking the place out !

games are very expensive, the shops are good for inexpensive souvenirs. it is lit up well at night and is clean.

I haven't been here in almost 30 years but I am happy to say the boardwalk and beach were just as much fun now as back then. Clean, safe and fun...a perfect vacation!!!

I was never so disappointed with the Jersey Shore. When people were leaving the beach they were leaving their garbage including dirty diapers in their spot. It was heartbreaking to see people being so disgusting. I could not believe it! And then at the end of the day I blame the town, the garbages were overflowing with garbage that the respectful people were throwing out. The seagulls were going through the garbage and spreading it all over the beach. I wish I had pictures to share, it was disgusting. The town better get their act together before it ends up being ruined. And everyone needs to take care of their garbage! How dare them liter Jerseys beautiful beaches! They should be ashamed!

Seaside heights boardwalk has come a long way since hurricane sandy and the boardwalk fire. Things are really coming back to life here. Games not so easy to win but still very fun. Chance is what’s going on. Don’t forget the soft serve ice cream from khors and the great game of mini golf. Be sure to check out the go carts. Kids and adults alike love this home away from home. Can’t wait to go back

Been coming here for a long time- 60 years. Always great. Lots of stuff to do, games, rides, food, candy. Great place to take a date or your family. Lots of rides for kids. Parking never a problem. Used to park far away and let the kids walk and it really tires them out.

The Seaside Heights boardwalk has received a whole new look after Super Storm
Sandy. The boardwalk is 100 percent better now than it was in the past. People who
redesigned the boardwalk did a very excellent job in doing so. This is a excellent place
to bring your family and have a good time,

I hadn't been to the boardwalk since Superstorm Sandy devastated it several years ago. I was very surprised to see how it has come back to life even when so many areas in Nj are still recuperating from the storm. Casino Pier and Funtown are back! You would never know it was destroyed. Very clean, lots of activities and arcades and numerous restaurants. Some were closed due to it being after season but it was still vibrant and if nothing else, you can stroll along the boardwalk and watch the ocean.

DIRTY and smelled like POT! Had to pay to go on the beach. No tents allowed or alcohol! Worst beach trip ever !!

It was a beautiful, fun place to visit! The sun was shining and the water was beautiful. The only think I did not like is that there is a charge to enter the beach, even if you want to just go put your feet in the water for a minute or two. Other than that it was a great place with lots of shopping and activities. Great food choices too. Don't expect gourmet food - strictly diet busting fast food, but delicious nonetheless.

Love the arcade with the bar !!!! Lots of VR games , Waves had awesome staff . Was there at about 1pm ....
SHORE STORE!!! amazing, Danny and all the stuff were great!!
Did the MTV jersey shore house tour. $10 and so great to see after all these years of seeing it on tv.
Rides , you get a card and we only did the bumper cars. Waited a long time for 1 ride and quit. You can use that same card for the arcades also which is good. No wasting of the money spent.
This was our 3rd trip , 1st to this spot. Seaside had the most people wearing their face masks all around .

Seaside Heights has changed over the years. The place is much more calm and family friendly than it was in the 80's and 90's. The boardwalk is not crowded and the beach is clean. Many of the hotels are updated and clean compared to 20-30 years ago when I visited as a young man. Each of my recent visits have been pleasurable. There are good places to eat and great bars for drinks at night. If you come with kids there are enough rides and games to keep them entertained. If you want to party at night there are numerous places with live music and DJ's to entertain you. Seaside Park/Heights makes for a great vacation.

Back "down the shore" after 40 years away was a bucket list item to be crossed off. While the skill games and food were practically the same, there was a lack of rides that is remembered by many. The rebuild after the storm shows with only one pier for entertainment. Bigger and better are " the slices", if you have to ask, you are not from Jersey. The beaches are exceptionally clean compared to Texas ones and the crowd is more subdued.........one could get very used to this. The boardwalk is a must if in the area along with the sand. And even after 40 years, one always wants a slice and fresh OJ........

Very family friendly and great atmosphere. Lots of things to do and good varieties of food to eat. Have lots of games to play and many different rides for kids of all ages to ride. Reasonable prices and lots of fun. Can’t wait to return.

I have vivid childhood memories of the seaside boardwalk. Coming back some years later is a devastating site. Understandably much of the history was lost due to hurricane Sandy and the fire, but it seems like nothing was done to preserve or restore that old nostalgic boardwalk feel. They certainly didn't skimp on making sure the bars were still in tact though....6+ bars on a one mile boardwalk? I have no idea how many additional are in town. Overkill, no? While there are rides and games, I find this atmosphere much less family friendly than a boardwalk should be. Seaside is simply asking for trouble with this atmosphere. Food was boring and bland. Wonderful if you just want pizza and ice cream. If you want a decent sit down meal, look elsewhere. There is nothing within walking distance of the town....except for more bars with some subpar burgers.
Beyond the boardwalk....overall shadiness. We spent labor day Monday and the three following days here. MUCH less tourists, so perhaps the dregs of society were just much more noticeable? Regardless, in 3 days we saw a woman of 50+ years old screaming at 4 policemen on the boardwalk, a 9am house raid which resulted in 10+ people being hauled away in handcuffs, a man nodding off in his plate of spaghetti while eating with his wife and two babies (I can assure you, he wasn't just overly tired), general mentally unstable drunks and druggies who want to stop and talk. We took our dog along with us. He tends to attract a lot of attention to begin with, but in this case I genuinely felt unsafe walking him past dark. The characters that approached us were less than comforting.
On the last night I made the mistake of searching Google, curious as to the house raid earlier in the day. I wish I hadn't. The amount of drugs, violence, and overall crime reported is astonishing. This is definitely not the carefree childhood shore town I remember. I would NEVER bring my children here and I will certainly never return myself. I'll reminisce on Seaside of the past through pictures. This town is only getting worse. They need to focus the police less on keeping people off the beach at 10pm, and more on getting the druggies off the streets of their town.

Always a great way to spend a summer day or Night. Lots of things to do. Plenty of place to eat hot dogs, pizza, Ice Cream and Cheese Steaks! Games , Rides etc. Just Plain good Family Fun!

First of all - to the person who complained that beer is not permitted on the beach - most Jersey shore towns do not permit beer on the beach. That is a shallow reason to dislike any beach. This boardwalk received extensive damage due to Hurricane Sandy and the fire that followed several months later. Having said that, the boardwalk has come a long way, but could use a little more work. The boardwalk is clean with plenty of boardwalk-style eateries and games of chance. Plenty of clean rest rooms and benches along the way to rest. I will come back.

Absolutely loved The Shore. It's exactly what you expect it to be. Seaside heights is not big and neither is the Boardwalk but there is a lot to do and the beach is really gorgeous.
We went as a couple and had a great time! Can't wait to go back.

Enjoyed visiting, brings back memories from my past. Lots of fast food pizza, sausage, steak food places to choose from, and of course Kohr’s frozen custard. Enjoy eating this junk food once in a while. Also lots of places offer fresh cut fries when many sit down restaurants in other towns do not. Even though it was raining, there were a number of places still open. There are also a number of indoor arcades. After this visit am looking forward to an off-season day trip once in while just to walk the boardwalk and grab a sausage sandwich.

Everyone and their brother are on vacation. All walks of life.. can’t judge others here .. they are doing the same as you. Enjoying there family time. Boardwalk was entertaining, people doing tricks and looking for a tip. Hula hoop girl is amazing, so is the artist that does chalk drawings .. nothing is better on a summer night than walking the boards .!!

I highly recommend this place if you have children and also for dating. This place has everything for everyone . I really enjoyed the day visiting this historic area the Jersey shore . Fun for the whole family. They have everything! Including the biggest slices of pizza!

In March parking options were street meter and we saw lots priced from $5- $10. The boardwalk is large and we walked the majority of it from one end to the other. There are shops, restaurants and the arcade with rides. There were many families for the community Easter egg hunt and police were all along the boardwalk too. It’s a great place for taking fun photos and hanging out with friends and family.

This is a true boardwalk with games, rides, pizza joints every block and more. Two piers with amusement park rides, with twice as many games on the south side with two "lanes." You could find trouble here late in the night, so we always came early and left well before then. Still, always plenty of people watching and fun.

The children really enjoyed the rides and games!! Shops were nice and Covid policy seemed to in place and followed. Food choices were plentiful and what we had were tasty! Will return again but definitely a different hotel!!!

Daughter loved it. She loved the boardwalk and all the dies and eateries. Wish it was dog friendly but it is not, some people say it is and there is even a dog friendly vendor on site but security kicked us off.

The party never stops there, even when you are ready for bed it never stops. The beach was nice but if you are looking for a quite place, go somewhere else.

I visited Seaside Heights on July 2nd, 2024 after having not been there since the dunes were erected in 2018. Though I realize the need for them, only being able to see a sliver of the Atlantic ocean from the boardwalk was very disheartening. You couldn't see or hear the surf. Not the Seaside Heights I had fond memories of. It's a shame it had to come to this. I doubt if I'll return in the future. And to add insult to injury, if you want to see the beach and surf now, you have to pay $13 for a day pass. Insane!

Wonderful quick beach day. This beach and town is laid back and clean. I didn't encounter any of those big biting flies like Atlantic city. Of course the usual tourist board walk stuff. Overall I'm glad I found this little slice of summer heaven

Hate to say this but Storm Sandy, which all its horrible effects honestly cleaned up the town of SSH and the boardwalk looks fantastic.

You would enjoy this beach if you like the smell of farts and cigarettes. Trashy boardwalk even trashier people. This is the type of boardwalk that attracts a certain kind of crowd. When every shop worker (even the salt water tafty shop) follows you around the store to make sure you're not stealing, you know it's the norm. I wore sandals but wished I wore construction boots. Hard to avoid spit, vomit and dirty diapers in sandals.
**From NJ and been to this beach plenty of time. Must of went down hill from the hurricane and the other natural disaster called MTV's Jersey Shore.

We love the board walk. We have the best memories with family here. We gathering around 15/20 family members here and enjoy it all. Rides, food and people watching is always a good time of pie or an ice cream. Darts or winning a fish seems to be pretty great even if they’re older teens. Great family place and when you need a break just cruise on down to the beach. Beautiful sunrise too

The boardwalk is so much fun!!!! A fabulous experience with amazing rides. I’ve been going since I was a little girl and ever year it gets better! From the beach to the rides to the arcades there is truly something for everyone. I completely recommend it and hope everyone can experience it!

The beach ride was so much fun. The sand was nice and white and the water was warm and clear. The hotels in the area are not so good, but hopefully know that the boardwalk and beach are coming back, they will step up.

I have been going here for over 40 plus years .
It’s definitely not as nostalgic as it once was but still cool . My Fam has a house there . That being said you can swim on the bay side for free and swim on the ocean side for free after 5pm 7 days a week . Don’t give the boroughs anymore money. They get enough!

This boardwalk now looks great. Everything is updated, new stores, new lighting. Beautiful benches, planters filled with flowers. Lots of police presence on foot & bicycle. Good restaurants, some with live bands. Felt very safe. Really enjoyed the new look & feeling.
Obnoxiously pushy store clerks, No variety of shops
I wanted to like this boardwalk... The sky/ski lift that runs the length of the boardwalk looked relaxing and it is reasonably priced! The boardwalk is not very long at all, good for young children that don't like to walk too much. Parking lots were ample and in close proximity but the lots up the price on weekends so if you are $ savvy go during the weekdays. We paid $5 on a weekday and some wanted between $10-20 on the weekends.
The atmosphere was nice, the beach seemed clean, but they have nearly the exact same stores and food joints the entire length of the boardwalk. T-shirt shop, pizza, bar, henna, arcade, repeat. T-shirt shop, pizza, bar, henna, arcade, repeat. There are literally like 4 of the exact same pizza places you just passed a minute ago. Each t-shirt shop you enter you are swarmed by workers telling you that if you pick out a shirt, they will put a decal on it for free. Every. Single. Shop. Like yeah buddy I heard the spiel the last 4 shops that I walked into, exact same thing, exact same shirts lol. Not to mention the people who work in the shops must get paid commission or something, they FOLLOW YOU around the store like lost puppies, God forbid you look at a shirt...they will come running over ask you what size you need and try to shove you to the check out line with it. Even if you say no thank you, I am just looking, they will hover at an arm's length away and keep suggesting things to you when it is obvious you do not want or need their assistance (I'm in my mid 30's with a child, mind you, not some kid who looks like I might be trying to shoplift). My brother wouldn't even go back into the shops because it was seriously that annoying. Overall it made the experience really frustrating. Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk shops were so much more inviting and not pushy like NJ. You can NOT browse these NJ shops without feeling pressured.
The amusement pier was also a little bit disappointing - only because from miles you can see a huge ferris wheel lit up, we waited in a long line for tickets to ride and when it was finally our turn, they said "oh sorry, it isn't actually open to the public, maybe in about a month" Ok, well then WHY do you have the lights on it advertising the thing? Our young daughter was very upset. If you want to ride the rides, it is basically a dollar per credit and you need 10 credits to ride the roller coaster.
