If you enjoy searching for and looking for antiques this is a must do.friendly owners, lots and lots of great merchandise!

This is a very clean and well-run store. The guys are very nice and knowledgeable. Lots of treasures worth exploring a bit for.

There is so much to see here! From the old to the collectable. Visit on a weekend and they open up the basement too. Some weekends there are vendors outside like a fleamarket. Only problem for was making sure any buys would fit the suitcase for the flight home!

Average antique store, medium sized, lots to look at, but somewhat over-priced for the current market. Nice selection, but nothing special.

We always go to local antique stores when we travel for vacation, when this popped up on my phone we decided to make a visit. I'm so thrilled that we did. Matter of fact now that we are back home, I've been planning our next trip to Florida just to visit this establishment. The staff were amazingly friendly, helpful and courteous. We purchased many glass items and the quickly wrapped them wonderfully for my trip back home. They answered questions and also helped me locate items in the store that I was looking for. We couldn't be more pleased. Yes, masks aren't required in the store, but at NO time did they ever get within 8 feet of me, even while being great help. We will be back. Thank you!!!

This is a nice place to roam and see a lot of cool antiques. There’s plenty to choose from upstairs and downstairs of antiques.

If you like nostalgia ,this store is filled from top to bottom with antique and vintage collectible items for all different styles and tastes. Aisles are Easy to walk about, displays are well thought out and Clean! No musty smells!! Great store! Just be sure to look up so not to miss anything!

IF ONLY . . . all antique shops were this comprehensive!
Not only are there a variety of antiques, vintage, and mid-century. You'll see a good collection of furniture, collectible glass, clocks, dolls, indigenous regalia, holiday items and toys including those that will rekindle your childhood memories of friends and families.
Displays are artfully done and a delightful way to spend time taking it all in.
This antique shop takes the cake in that it does indeed have quality antiques priced right but it also has a DOLL HOSPITAL, lovely plants including some fabulous orchids but they also provide an amazing service of taking care of all the details for estate sales!
A huge added plus is that the owners are knowledgeable, personable and very helpful!
IF it were possible I'd rank Sherman's as a 10 start attraction! (and yes, I WILL be going back)

A Very Nice Selection Of Antiques And Collectable's, Half Of Which Are Owned By The Sherman's, The Rest By Individual Booth Renter's. Rental Space Is $100 A Month. The Main Level Is Fully Rented But There Are A Few Spaces Left Downstairs.Lots Of Glassware, Toys, Paintings, Clocks, And Memorabilia. Something For Everyone.

We have been in many antiques stores, and this store has many interesting and high quality items. We highly recommend

There is so much and everything is neat and organized. There is a large variety too. We went up and down every aisle several times and noticed antiques we passed by the first time around. The prices are very reasonable and the employees are very friendly and helpful. It was worth the special trip to Winter Haven just for Sherman's.

For those of us that are used to shopping at 'Real' Antique stores this is a mixed bag of your typical Garage Sale Junk and some Real Values. Which, pretty much spells out ~The Norm ~ in Antique Shops today. It takes a keen eye to spot the real values hidden amongst the usual 'stuff' ' that occupies the shelves today. Thanks to Cable TV Shows like "American Picker's" , "Antique Road Show" and "Storage Wars" the prices are pretty much ....On the Moon for anything remotely REAL in Advertising Signs and true old fashioned valuables. It's a "World of Smalls", here, occupying about 5,000 sq. ft.
Ask to see The Basement to open the door to more possibles in your tour of this old store. You'll find Vintage Christmas, Model Airplanes, Cola Items, Vintage Microphones, with an Old Pram and more furniture downstairs you might have missed. Sherman's Antiques has it all but, not too much that 'blew our skirt up'. Found this antique shop listed under "Lake Albert" though it's down the road a bit in Winter Haven. Owners are very nice but, it's all about 'your stock' and us, being old Timers being too choosey collecting 46 years, There wasn't too much we recognized as real keepers..when we did, it was way too expensive. Written up on other websites as 'the only game in town'. So, look for that hidden treasure on the shelf. Happy Hunting....

A perfect place for a history lesson to discover cool treasures that time has sealed under one roof!

Great place to visit. Great atmosphere, friendly owners, and a lot to look at. Found several items at good prices. WILL BE BACK.

In the past 2 weeks, we have purchased several furniture pieces and a carving. All the items are in good shape and were priced reasonably. Would highly recommend shopping at Sherman's Antiques.

My Mom has some old dolls from her childhood (1940's) that needed to be restrung. She lives in another state but came to Florida for the holidays. She couldn't find anyone where she lived that could do it and didn't want to send them via the mail to a 'Doll Hospital'. After googling and calling around I stumbled across Sherman's. We walked in 2 days after Christmas, gave them the dolls and went shopping while they restrung them. In about 40 minutes the dolls were done and we left (a few hours later) with several more treasures in tow. Mom was extremely pleased with the restring job; nice and tight but not too tight that it would cause damage, and very reasonably priced. The 2 shop owners her friendly, knowledgeable and even loaded our new treasures. Be sure to pet the lil dog they have up by the front desk. She's a sweetheart that they rescued.
They have A LOT of old antique and vintage baby dolls! Lots of furniture. I even saw several antique Victrola's and some Limoges, just a little bit of just about everything.
I will be making the road trip back to them at least once a year. More often if I can get the time.

Forget it you're in a wheelchair or scooter.
Place is packed every square inch.
Junk top to bottom.
Looks like a hoarder turned into a business for other hoarders to find junk to add to their hoarding piles.

This is a MUST STOP. Don't let the store front deceive you to think it's small. HUGE inside. 2 floors. A true antique shop filled with vintage artifacts. Clean and well organized. Easy to get lost in. Will have the perfect antique for your space, whether it's a typewriter, colored aluminum diningware from the 50s, toys, comic books, furniture, everything. So love this place. ❤️ 😍

Been here a few times over past few years whenever we are in area. Always able to find something unique and at a good price. Lots of great things both expensive and affordable. Hidden Treasures everywhere you look. Will be back again next time we are in town. You can bet on that...

This business has the same things in the same place as the last 3 years I stopped here. The younger man there, one of the owners is the rudest person I ever met. I wont be waisting my time stopping there again

I noticed someone's review said this was just an average antique store. I don't think so at all, nor did my friend that was with me.
The second we walked in the door, we noticed it seemed very cozy and things were well displayed. Merchandise was quite varied so there were lots of fun things to look at. Prices varied as they always do in stores that have many vendors but there were plenty of reasonably priced items. The owner was very friendly and accommodating.

For my birthday this year I told my family I wanted to go antiquing to places that I have never been. I found this place and it held so many interesting pieces. The owners were super sweet and I enjoyed speaking with them. I did find several items that were unique, my daughter who is 8 found the gum ball machine at the front and was very excited she could get 3 gum balls for 5 cents.

I liked the quality of the items and the cleanliness of the store..The owners, Jerry and Al are very helpful...Great Vintage ...Coca Cola Collectibles and Disney
I would highly recommend stoping by...

Unlike previous review we found the owners very friendly and accommodating. Wonderful shop, so much to see! Don't forget to look up. Make sure to plan a visit. We came from Clearwater for a day trip!

We happened upon Sherman’s this past June while visiting Florida and we were so impressed by the kindness of the owners and the cleanliness of the store that we returned in November when we were back in the area. The owners are true gentleman and take great pride in their business. I have been to many antique stores and Sherman’s tops them all. They have a wide variety of antiques and beautiful Christmas village collections that make shopping there a pleasure and a treat! I can’t wait to go back there again!

Brilliant shop with everything you could want. We have been visiting Florida for several years and found this place at the end of this years holiday by which time our baggage allowance wa just about reached. Next year this will be one of my first shops. Highly recommend that you visit this shop.

As an avid collector, I always try to hit all the antique stores when I'm vacationing. While visiting family in Winter Haven I stopped in to Sherman's Antiques -- this place is a gem! Not only do they have a fabulous selection from vintage collectibles to true antiques but everything is so artfully displayed -- everywhere I looked there was another interesting vignette! The shop was filled with lots of interesting items, many I'd never seen before. Highly recommended.

This is a very nice Antique shop. There are several employees there to help you find what you are looking for. A great selection of antique items to choose from. Friday & Saturday the downstairs section is open.

Fun place to look around. Its like a time warp! Clean n neat too. Main floor n basement organized with so much to choose from. Much bigger than it looks from the outside!

I had passed this store many times on the way to my church, which is around the corner. One day several months ago, I stopped in. What a fascinating place! I was there 2 hours, quickly making a run-through. This store is packed full of vintage treasures of all kinds jewelry, dishes, dolls, every type of memorabilia you can think of, all beautifully displayed - floor to ceiling. You could spend several hours here. Bottom floor with more of the same open on weekends.

I absolutely love this antique store. I have gotten so many different gifts and items from here over the years. It's worth the drive every time! Great shop with great variety and lovely people working. Definitely make a stop here.

I found some very desirable collectibles here! I would say this store is worth coming to again and again. We purchased a rattan glass topped table in excellent condition and took note that all the items for sale seem to be in top notch condition...if you collect knick-knacks or furniture it's worth a look around!

This was our first visit to Winter Haven and Sherman's. We found it an enjoyable place to shop with a large variety of merchandise beautifully displayed and reasonably priced. Since it was Saturday, the basement shop was also open. Worth the visit if you are in the area.

My wife being the Antique collector, we have a mission to visit every antique shop in Florida. This place is about an hour from where we live, and it lived to its reputation. I stopped by based on reviews, which I am always skeptical of. Sherman's antiques does have Victorian, mid century antiques. They have glass and furniture pieces which will fit your taste and budget. We did pick up a couple of pieces and might go back for more. The manager was also very nice in pointing out that this was the #4 destination in Winter Haven

Sherman's Antiques is the most wonderful place to go when you are searching for antiques and vintage items. You will find yourself wandering up and down the aisle and peeking into every nook and cranny in this marvelous store. The quality of all of the items is top notch and both of the owners Al and Jerry will go out of their way to be helpful to you in locating just what you are looking for. Give yourself plenty of time when you do stop by Sherman;s Antiques so that you can leisurely browse through the store without feeling rushed.
The doll hospital located at Sherman's Antiques is just another unique part of this business. If you have vintage dolls that are in need of repair, this is definitely the place to take them for quality, authentic repair. Tender, loving care will go into making the repairs to your dolls. Besides doing doll repairs, Shermian's Antiques has a wide selection of vintage dolls for sale in their store as well.
This antiques shop is one that you should not miss if you love searching for those perfect treasures and adopting them into your homes. We live nearby and find it hard to resist stopping in often to browse through the store for new treasures. Stop in and visit with Al and Jerry. If there is something in particular that you are searching for let them know and they will be on the lookout for that item for you. Whenever you are in the Winter Haven, FL area, plan to take time to visit Sherman's Antiques. It is a great place to shop and the owners are great people to deal with.

.... I see things I haven't seen before. Always clean, dust free and we'll merchandized. I bought a gorgeous oak table here a few weeks ago!!!!!

You can spend hours with so much to see. You should not leave empty handed. The owners aware very nice and Jackie is not for sale. We asked!!!

Proprietor with the beard was very rude. We were very offended and went to other antique shops in the area, where the people were friendly.

We drove over an hour and a half to see the dolls he had for sale.
The owner was rude and sassy and very unwilling to show us the dolls. They were up very high out of everyone's reach, to the point you could hardly see them.
I wouldn't go back again! He was absolutely rude to us before we left.

Proprietor and sellers will not stand behind authenticity of items. Do not trust labels and descriptions on items in this store.

We were vacationing in Kissimmee and decided to take a leisurely ride into Winter Haven after reading the last two reviews about Sherman's.
We spent about two hours browsing around the store. If you like to browse antiques, and some handmade items you won't be disappointed. The owners are so friendly and helpful. Many of the items are one of a kind and will bring back memories of your childhood (if your over 55). The shop is full of items and your eyes will wonder all over from floor to ceiling. Also, the air inside the store is fresh and clean unlike some other antique stores that often smell musty. Enjoy your time there.

I have shopped here for many years and have always enjoyed the experience, finding many unique treasures. So when I visited the store yesterday, I was very disappointed to see that the two women working at the checkout counter were not wearing masks. I did not feel safe in the store, and so I left. Sadly, I won't go back until this pandemic is behind us.

This is the very best antique shop I’ve been in. Floor to ceiling collectibles with very personable owners.
The basement was fresh smelling, no mold or mildew down there and that’s a feat in Florida.
So many fabulous collections!
I got a great leather Scrabble game that had never been used. Reasonable price.
We wandered easily for a hour and there was so much to see. I cab’t wait to go back.

Visitting for my first time in winyer haven and it is the first place ivisited. Just go slowly and enjoy. The owners are very friendly.

You have to keep going back, as the merchandise changes almost daily. The Christmas section is one of the best I have seen. Lots of stuff from the 50s and 60s, that are not actually antique but are really fun to browse and buy!

I just love the way everything is displayed and such a variety of items. Well worth a visit. Highly recommend to anyone.
Overwhelming
So, so many antiques in one place. The owners are very friendly and eager to help, but not pushy. You are definitely allowed to look around as long as you like and as often as you like (if you care to return). Good selection in almost every category.
