HIGHLY Recommend

We have seen several other shows, and they're always good, but Esther (which is playing now) blew us away...the word "awesome" does not do it justice. Prepare to be moved to tears as the Biblical narrative is woven together. So faith-building to remember that they're dramatizing something that really happened.

Miracle of Christmas, WONDERFUL

By Andrea |

Wonderful show. Highly recommend. Our seats were aisle seats 44-48 in row B by the stage, next time I will try to get Row C seat 49.

David…an epic show!

By Terry |

This was the best theater experience I have ever been to! The live animals, stage and set, actors and singing were fantastic and it was an epic performance! Highly recommend traveling to Branson just to see this show! It’s different from any other show I have attended and highly recommend getting the best seats you can well in advance!

I Can Only Say WOW

By Ginatay |

If there was a 6, I would give it! We saw Esther, the play and were so amazed. We have season tickets to the theatre in a major city. This rivaled any show done/seen there.
The animals were an amazing addition. Also, I couldn’t believe the lights and props! These sorts of details takes the show to the impressive level it is!

A must see

By Beverly A |

David was amazing as is their productions. True to the Bible. This is extraordinary in every way. Very worthwhile for any age able to sit for several hours and be thoroughly entertained. Not recommended for small children.

Excellent

Excellent!! Worth every penny!
Moved me to tears !
Loved the live animals
Really told the Biblical story of David in a memorable way

Outstanding and amazing venue!

Outstanding in every way. Biblical based Esther was exceptional and we thoroughly enjoyed. Amazing venue to witness such an incredible performance!

The Reason for the Season

By Tom H |

Miracle of Christmas was amazing! Production is above and beyond. We chose seats in AA row and they were perfect with leg room and view of both side stages. Thanks for the wonderful Christmas experience.

Must See Queen Esther

By Carol T |

We saw Queen Esther. Buses come from far away to see this show. There are no words to completely describe the authenticity of this show. The audience is surrounded by the biblical times of Queen Esther. Live animals and actors come down the aisles. The theater is full but not a bad seat in the house. It was well organized including making long intermission bathroom lines go fast so everyone can get back to their seats in time. This is a must see

Just go!

By LovesAVaction |

The Miracle of Christmas show was simply spectacular! It's a must see for visitors in Branson over the Christmas holidays.

Such a gift!!!

By carole Kronmueller |

This show was absolutely phenomenal, way more amazing than I ever even expected!!!
The staging was incredible. The acting was incredible all the live animals. I would highly recommend it to anybody.

Sight and Sounds puts on an amazing show that never disappoints! It is worth every penny! They make the Bible come to life.

Great show!

By Lynn R |

We went to see The Miracle of Christmas! It was wonderful. The actors were great and they were remarkable singers too!!!

The Best Experience EVER!!!

By JoyA |

If you have never seen one of their stage plays, it is a MUST!!! They do everything TOP NOTCH!! There are live animals and the actors are excellent. You have action on three sides of you almost constantly, it's amazing!! We saw "David" but whatever show they are doing, you will be amazed!

More than a performance - a holy encounter!

By blessedt0travel |

Our family saw the David performance and were absolutely mesmerized by every scene and song. It was done with excellence and beauty - the performers, the sets, the animals and backdrops made this a powerful immersive experience. We bought the DVD and have watched it twice since we have been home. Make every effort you can to take in this performance!

One of the best....

By RICART75 |

We're just adding a hearty agreement, to the last several hundred TA reviews.
DAVID is a magnificent production; full of spectacular imagery, exuberant performances, and a moving & engaging narrative.
Certainly the venue itself, adds to the overall grandeur of the experience; especially, decked out in its holiday splendor.
We've seen several shows at Sight & Sound over the years; this was one of the best.

Hands Down! The best show in Branson. Its quality is top notch!!!

By MissyB1972 |

Outstanding show!!! We saw Queen Esther and it was worth every penny. I would come back to Branson just to see a sights and sounds show again. We sat on second level and these really are the best seats. The stage surrounds you and being up high is the best.

They Bring Biblical Stories To Life

By trophywest |

The miracle of Christmas is well worth seeing. It brought the Christmas story to life. Horses & sheep walked down the aisles past us. Even though Mary went through criticism of her community, there was hope. There is a little embellishing of the story but it's still good. Highly recommend it.

TOP NOTCH!

By Mom2BAH |

Excellent show! BEST in Branson, hands down! Excellent portrayal of the story of Queen Esther. Cast was superb. Everything was top notch, including how the ushers helped with crowd control at intermission. Would highly recommend!

Unbelievably Awesome Production

By Carly C |

Our visit to Sight and Sound Theatre. We saw Queen Esther and it was unbelievably amazing! The best live drama performance I’ve ever seen. Costumes and set were absolutely gorgeous. This is one you can’t miss!!

By Shelley S |

We have been to Sight and Sound several times over the years. It is always impressive to see their stage wrapped around three sides of the theater. The sets are amazing. I would like to do a back stage tour to see how it all works. Can't wait for the next show.

Don’t miss this production.

By Sheri B |

Such a great experience. Great singing, outstanding sets and costumes. This was my third visit and I would highly recommend this.

A Must see & do

By MAW_MO |

We saw David. There are not enough words. The show, actors, animals, staff & building are absolutely amazing. We sat floor row R, which felt very interactive, but the mid-low balcony would be awesome too. Buy the tickets. See the show.

Awesome Production!

By Debbie R |

Awesome production! Best we have ever seen! Everything was well organized and fantastic!! The sound though was painfully loud. My husband took his hearing aids off, put in ear plugs and it was still too loud!!

SPECTACULAR!!

By Katie K |

Our family saw "David" last night, and it was phenomenal! The wrap-around staging, live animals, and incredible talent were second to none. The staff were all incredibly friendly, too. If you want to see the Bible come to life before your eyes in the most spectacular way, go to Sights and Sounds! My only regret is that I didn't realize that the first row of the back section (I thought it was a balcony) is actually on the same floor level as the seats in the section in front of you. Had I known this, I would have chosen different seats.

Phenomenal Production with talent, details and purpose!

By Okie Heather |

Queen Esther was a phenomenal production! The talent! The stage! Every detail! We watched the streaming production offered during COVID. It was a blessing to see it again in live theater. It is best to get there 45 minutes early to allow time to get parked and settled before the show. It is a wonderful production and ministry. “For such a time as this!”

Beautiful Live play

By Cynthia p |

There are no words other than you have to go watch whatever is playing!! We saw Jesus 3 years ago and just saw David and it was incredible!!! The building is beautiful but wait until you see the center and side stages and the live performances it’ll blow you away!! A MUST SEE!!!

Breathtaking

By Jennylynn King |

From the moment you pull into the parking lot you know you’re somewhere special. From live animals to singing to the stage…omg!!

Queen Esther was amazing!

By Beverlycali |

This was our first experience with this production company. We saw Queen Esther and found it to be a first class , top notch entertainment. From the outside of the venue to the staff and inside of the venue we knew we had found something special here! I wish we had seen all their previous presentations! Apparently, it takes two years to set their stage for each new production. If you are in the area of Branson, Mo, don’t miss it! The lighting, sound, talent with acting and singing as well of the use of live animals to create a believable set to bring a Bible truth to life is so memorable. I will come back to Branson (from California) just to see their next production! Yes, it’s that good!

First Class!

By Mike M |

Our third show there, this time it was "David" was great. "Esther" was our favorite. Very organized for the large crowds, get to the bathrooms fast or wait in long lines! Great staff, and always wonderful message.

A chance to experience Gods love and grace

By Pam C |

I just can not express how much this show impressed me. My 10 year old granddaughter and I saw David on August 6th. From the live animals, special effects, music and the actors it was spectacular. It is wonderful to see Davids story come to life in front of us. My granddaughter had lots of thoughts and questions that we discussed that evening.

Queen Esther

By prof b a L |

Possibly the best religious production we have ever seen. A Broadway style show based from the Bible in Branson, Mo. Set design was fantastic. Staff met our needs. Enjoyable evening. Thanks! Trust God and You're Loved!

Fantastic!

By MTB-Illinois |

The Queen Esther show was amazing. It tantalizes all of your senses. The shows at this theater are very professionally done, contain stories from the Bible and are so colorful and engaging. I highly recommend for anyone in the Branson area.

A wonderful thought provoking entertainment.

By 654swood |

As usual David was exceptional. Have been to several productions and they never fail to inspire me. Husband utilized the tcoil hearing assistant and it was great. Magnified the performance without all the surround noise of the audience.

Amazing!

By Resurrected Roamer |

The Queen Esther show at the Sight and Sound Theatre in Branson Missouri was beyond our expectations. To be honest we were not sure what to expect because this was our first Sight and Sound Theatres production. I bought tickets to Queen Esther for my girlfriend and I as a surprise to her, however, we were both surprised by the incredible talent of the performers, the production crew, and the set designers.

Driving up the driveway to the parking area is where the experience begins, as the massive and beautiful building comes to view. The parking attendants guide the traffic to two roomy parking areas with handicap-accessible spaces and easy walking paths to the incredible building entrance. At the front of the grand entrance showcases an impressive statue of a Lion laying with a Lamb. Entering the huge foyer you are welcomed with what appears to me to be a modern Middle Eastern-influenced design with statues, palm trees, inspiring artwork, and the sweet aroma of roasted almonds from the concession stand.

Once you enter the theater everything looks to be expected for a building of that size. A large multi-level seating area that can accommodate more than 2,000 souls. However, after you are seated and the curtains part the unexpected left us with our jaws dropping open eyes wide, and heads turning to take in the state-of-the-art panoramic stage that wraps around the audience on three sides. The Persian King Ahasuerus Palace and city is the largest stage built by Sight and Sounds Theatre to date. Ahasuerus is evidently to be known as Xerxes and is referred to as King Xerxes in this production. The Palace section alone is approximately 70 feet wide, 41 feet deep, and 37 feet tall and this structure is only a small portion of the complete set. Throughout the presentation, the set moves and transforms to meet the needs to telling the story.

If the stage itself doesn’t blow you away the talented acting and singing along with live animals will. The cast and crew are phenomenal at their roles and draw you into the story with their voices, wardrobe, and set design details. You laugh, cry, and rejoice with them as they tell of Esther and those around her. I can’t forget to include the delicious roasted almonds is so much better than popcorn and I love popcorn.

There is so much more that we enjoyed about this experience, however, I do not want to ruin your own experiences of the many wonderful surprises of this production. This may have been our first time at the Sight and Sound Theater but this will definitely not be the last!

Great show

By Debbie M |

Sight and Sound theater offers Amazing productions. Ive attended several; Noah, Jesus and now Queen Esther. They never dissapoint.

Absolutely amazing

By Mike K |

Absolutely amazing. The music, the scenery, the animals, and the actors made this a wonderful experience. At times we would get goosebumps just from the magnitude of the performance. We saw DAVID. Words are not enough to describe this show. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Show lasts about 2 1/2 hours. The show is good for all ages.

Good

By Terri B |

We attended a Tuesday afternoon performance scheduled for 3:30. For some unknown reason the show was 20 minutes late starting which ran it over 20 minutes. Not good as it pushed us to get to our next show on time. The parking is very busy so allow lots of time. The show was very good. Sets and effects are amazing, singing and performances were great. We seated close to the stage and the “mist” rolling off the stage was bad-made me cough. The show could have been 30 minutes shorter and I would have been happier

Amazing Production

By BKJOKohl |

We travel to Branson from northwest Illinois every year. Anytime there is a new production at Sight & Sound we make sure we see it. We fell in love with Miracle of Christmas. Since then we have seen every production available. This year was David and it did not disappoint. My family ages range from 12 to 80 and we all loved it. We recommend watching anytime some is planning a vacation to Branson.

Amazing stage

By Brian G |

Attended the show David; great show! The stage and props (to include live horses, sheep and a camel) were better than many NYC broadway theatres.

So much more than expected!

By Jamie H |

Me, my husband, brought our 4 children, ages 8-3. We do not travel much and prefer not to spend money on entertainment because we feel that for us this is not honoring God with His resources, but this was so different. It was expensive, which made me hesitate to purchase them, but we are already looking to plan another trip for the show only and we want to see David again and maybe bring some friends. My chest hurt afterwards because this was such an emotional and spiritual experience for us all. To watch the join on my children's faces as they watched the show to being able to apply more senses to the story of David besides just reading it. This was worth it! We were impressed at the others that attended the show, everyone was very respectful and polite. All the staff also seemed to enjoy their work, was very impressed that you had someone in the restrooms letting us know when a stall opened. You moved a large amount of people well with least amount of chaos I've ever seen. We will be happy to return to many more shows. Thank you for honoring God with your gifts and work.

Sight & Sound Theater is a must-see!!!

By Departure696099 |

The production of “David” is an experience! I was stunned by the creative genius behind the stage sets, movement, use of side stage, cinematography in conjunction with actors on stage, and the level of talent. The music was beautiful. The story unfolded seamlessly from one act to the next. The finale was powerful and God honoring! The musical ending was heavenly! We will be back for what’s up next! Bravo!

An incredible show & facility! We loved it - don't miss this!

By whois23 |

We saw "Queen Ester" at Sight & Sound Theatre. My wife and I have seen extravagant Broadway musicals such as Les Mis, Phantom, Starlight Express, etc. I have to say that this production soars higher than any of them... my wife and I were completely blown away by the sets, the story, the actors, the facility, and everything else. This is a production that is worth planning a trip to Branson around. We'll definitely be back to see their future performances.

Cool place, horrible bathrooms

By Quest00264216863 |

very good show but they don't have enough bathrooms and lock you out if you don't make it. I would never attend again because of the bathroom situation.

Great vocals & costumes

By Connie E |

I have been to several of the productions they have done. This one was just as good. Great vocals, costumes and visually amazing. The BEST seats are in the middle back or even the "upper middle back". Lot of live animals.

Church Tour

By Kay W |

The production of David was phenomenal
Absolutely spellbinding The facility was beautiful and the staff was professional and so helpful

Breathtaking! Mind blowing production. A definite must see when in the area.

By DMorgan |

This is a definite must see. No other show compares to the talent in this production!! Biblically accurate, actors never missed a beat, the set is comparable to a Hollywood movie set. Such detail from the wardrobe, set, animals, lights, sound.... EVERYTHING!
It's worth every penny and more!! Get your tickets early as they sell out early and fast.

Miracle of Christmas

By ILoveTexas |

We saw “Queen Esther” in March, and it was so wonderful that we wanted to come back and see “Miracle of Christmas”. The story, the voices, and the set are amazing, and the ending is as joyous as one would expect. We hope to come back and see “David” in the spring.

Broadway (but better) in Branson

By LesnKC |

This is a Christian professional Broadway production. The actors are so talented and their voices are beautiful. The sets are nothing short of amazing! I simply can’t say enough good about Sight and Sound Theater in Branson.

A Must See!

By Roadies4 |

We just saw Miracle of Christmas. Outstanding production! Talented cast (over 40 actors), various live animals. We've seen five of the productions, and each one was 5☆. A must see while in Branson.

An extravaganza like you've never seen before

By Debbie1166723 |

One could say it brings the bible to life, but that is an understatement for all that went in to making this unbelievable show. The talent was flawless as usual, the wraparound sets were incredible, and the whole experience was powerful. Surely God is in that place.

Perfection at its BEST

By Ron K |

Always incredible. We drive 9 hours to vacation in Branson every 2 years just so we can go to every production they do. WOW again.

David Rocks!

By Andrew S |

The David show was the most moving theatrical performance I have ever had the privilege to witness. Stunning sets, performances, effects. It was worship and theatre and community all in one

This alone was worth a trip to Branson

By JoJo-n-Harlen |

We had the opportunity to see David. It was the most amazing experience.
More impressive than the play was the staff. We walked through a metal detector on our way in, the security were all amazing. Very kind, answered all our questions amazing process.
Picking up our tickets was super easy .
There were people everywhere helping us find our seats ,
I did not meet one person that worked there that was not so kind and willing to answer any questions or help with any needs.

Magnificent theater and show!

By peacemer |

One of the best experiences that Branson has to offer! This show was complete with live animals and equivalent to a broadway play. The interesting thing is that it seems to captivate children too, with all of the action. We saw the production of Esther, which will be ending this year. We learned that they take 6 months off to build the set and the next production will be David. The cast is talented and dedicated and the theater is magnificent!

Go to see every show at Sight & Sound!

By Cindy E |

This experience rivals the best Broadway show! The set and staging is fantastic, the talent and music phenomenal, and the story true and biblical. Today we saw David - each that we’ve seen brings the Bible to life. I want to see every production! Staff are all so helpful and friendly and we 💕 the roasted almonds!

Worth a 5 hour drive

By mp |

Amazing experience, worth a 5 hour drive (from OKC) just for the show. It’s first class. We watched a show because we happened to be in Branson, and have made it a tradition ever since. Performers are just as talented as Broadway and it’s great story telling.

Great show

By justi |

Amazing amazing watching Queen Esther live on stage! I will definitely be going back to see David! The story was amazing and the singing was great! Live animals! Set that moves!

David

By Betty L |

I would rate this 100 if I could. It was very moving and inspirational!! It was wonderful to see such a production with the professional performers and outstanding backgrounds! The story brought me to tears!

Powerful

By Christa M |

Wow! I have seen a couple of shows here in the past. As always they are fantastic. The message, costuming, and cast are all amazing. My Aunt remarked it was better than any of the Broadway shows she’s seen. My only concern is the carpet needs to be replaced, because the animal smells on it were very strong to me.

Bringing the Bible to Life

By Betty L |

Another winner. Any time we go to Branson, we go to Sight and Sound. This trip we got to enjoy Queen Esther. Before we went, we read the ten chapers of Esther in the Bible. That certainly helped with watching the story unfold. Our trip to Branson is never complete until we go to Sight and Sound. I might add that the glazed almonds are delicious.

Amazing staging!

By Judy B |

Oh my goodness!! I’ve seen most of their shows, but this one had the most amazing sets ! The designers really blew me away. The singers were awesome. It was one of the best ones they have done! So glad I went

David at Sight and Sound

By Bigcountryrv1 |

Amazing production of DAVID! Singers, costumes, animals, stage elaborate scenes were done with outstanding precision. Every actor, singer, we’re perfect .such a great production. Have seen others here and each one has gotten more elaborate.
Highlight of our trip.
We will always come here when we can.
I bought the video and will be sharing it with our church

Great Show

By Jerry G |

The Miracle of Christmas was fantastic. The story of the virgin birth was well told and biblically accurate. Loved it all, and especially the live animals. We see whatever show is here every time we come to Brnason.

Queen Esther

By Kentuctraveler |

This made the 4th Sight and Sound presentation that I have seen. This production had such an elaborate setting that it was breathtaking. Enjoyed the story but still feel like Moses or Christmas Miracle were my favorite. So enjoy all of these stories of the Bible.

Terrible Parking Then A Great Show

By Scenic10011740300 |

The parking at this theater is so bad that it took 30 minutes to park on a one-story, surface-level parking lot. We did not move for 15 minutes. It's utter chaos and gridlock. Then we enjoyed a phenomenal and fantastic show, only afterwards to face the chaos to leave the venue!

Spectacular production!!!

By KarlaG4Kids |

Beyond amazing. This Christian based Christmas show was fabulous. The sets were spectacular. The story and the actors were wonderful. The only bad experience we had was having a family with 4 very unruly, crying children right behind us. The theatre does offer a “family room” for family with kids not being quiet but this particular family did not utilize it and tortured everyone around them. So disrespectful!

David was a great show

By sazzifrazz |

As usual this place out on an amazing show. We saw David this time. It was excellent…even better than Sampson and almost as good as Noah. These performances are better than broadway. The sets with real animals are over the top.

Reluctant Attendees to Enthusiastic Supporters!

By Kathy |

The males of our four-adult family agreed to attend, but were not enthusiastic about a theater experience. However, even with the musical inclusions, they were fans by the end! The surrounding stages, special effects, detailed props, and acting/vocal abilities won everyone over! You just can't describe the experience... you have to see to believe!

David 2025

By Kimberly H |

We attended the David show! It was sold out with 2,000 people. We still had friendly and fast service. The cast and musicians were amazing. The live animals added to our experience. We will be back with our friends!

Outstanding stage production.

By George B |

We experienced the play Queen Esther. In my 79 years I have not experienced a more spectacular production. The audience responded many times with applause and cheers. The staging was absolutely over the top and the acting and singing outstanding. This is one not to miss.

What a great experience and the best show in Branson.

By rjr88 |

Queen Esther, Wow. This was one of the best shows we have ever seen. The extent that they go to give you the full experience of making it almost seem as if you are there in the moment is fantastic. The live animals coming down the aisle and the side stages was just the extras. You can feel the story and has resemblance to the current events. I would love to be able see all of their shows. Spectacular presentation.

Sights and Sounds Theatre

By Camden S |

It was very fun! You definitely get your moneys worth. It is very professionally made. The songs are catchy and it looks very realistic.

“DAVID” - Live Performance

By Franklin C |

“DAVID” performance was spectacular / music was wonderful - acting top notch - on stage scenes AMAZING - would highly recommend this performance to Everyone as a MUST SEE if your going to Branson, Missouri if I could give it a 10 star rating I would most happily do so (5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) 👍👍👍👍👍

LORD IS OUR GOD

What can you say it's about God. He is the best in our hole world. HE IS OUR GOD. AMEN what more can I say than that. HE IS OUR GOD.

The Story of David

By Suzy U |

This show surpasses anything I’ve seen on Broadway! The sets are amazing, the music and sound was powerful and clear. Two of us have hearing issues and we never missed a word. And the live animals brought the story to life! The 22’ Goliath and other giants were phenomenally built and defeated perfectly. There’s not a bad seat in the theater. Will definitely go back for more shows. And sharing the gospel and offering people to pray with anyone needing it, well what a gift!

Beautiful theater, set and costumes for Queen Esther

By Karen F |

Enjoyed the play, “Queen Esther”. The theater, sets and the costumes were beautiful. I knew the story, however, we did not explain a lot to my 14&16yo prior to going so intermission was spent trying to explain a lot (wish I would have taught them the story first, though they got the idea). We all enjoyed the play and it started a nice dialogue. Definitely made me tear up at some points and get goosebumps at other times. As far as music, it’s only been 3 days and I don’t really remember it. There was some humor, the animals were neat, and the awe on my kids faces was fun to see. We sat center stage on main floor. I had a difficult time keeping my neck turned so long to watch the dialogue on the side stage. Even the teenagers complained about the seats being uncomfortable. I was in pain with a past hip injury and had to take a muscle relaxer. I’m not tall by any means and I can’t imagine anyone taller than 5’9” being very comfortable for that long of a play. I thought the prices for concessions were very reasonable. We were able to use bathroom and get concessions during intermission. All staff we encountered was friendly, even the guy directing traffic as we arrived made a joke asking if I brought him cheese curds (Wisconsin). Again, the seating was my biggest complaint.

Must See!

By Kelli W |

Whatever is showing, go to it. It’s breathtaking. The stage, costumes, actors, music and of course the story are always the highlight of our Branson trip.

Stunning visuals and singing

By Darla G |

This production was definitely a feast for the eyes and ears!

*Beautifully* produced with amazing visuals & very talented singers, the only thing I can really knock about the performance is that it went long.

There are certainly some things in David's story that could have easily been cut to make the show flow a bit better (did we need the additional giants?) and trim the time a bit.

I'm very petite in height and weight, but my knees are a bit creaky, and I can't imagine how much pain others much older, taller, heavier, and "creakier" than me were after sitting in those seats with the narrow rows of the auditorium for more than 2 hours (yes, there's a 20 minute intermission, but it just made me dread coming back for another equally long 2nd act).

With the helpful design of the upper section for smaller folks (seriously, I'm 4'10" & I'm constantly being blocked from seeing performances in theaters, performances, and even church! So, I really did appreciate the design that allows for a clear view of the stage regardless of one's height), it makes it impossible to stretch one's legs for fear of kicking a neighbor in the head!

Best Shows

By Kevin S |

We have seen every production over the years, they are always first class. We have had all ages with us. During Jonah, when the people of Nineveh said who will pray for us, our 3 year old grandson, yelled "I will".

Another first rate showing of a favorite Bible person’s life

By Brenda R |

Two of us had seen several of their shows and one couple experience this for their first time. All were equally impressed with the story, scenery, flow and complete performance. The parts of David’s story that were told were well selected. Great job!

Preview productions before attending and spending money. This was NOT it.

By db_dot |

David was such a poorly choreographed production versus our last visit to see Esther. David was hastily scripted (e.g., 4 or 5 battles in under five minutes) and relied on way too much computer-generated graphics, overabundant singing, uneventful dancing, and such fake-surreal otherworldly, almost elementary, graphics. NOT worth the price for this production. I would have paid double for the Esther production versus this rag tag fiasco.

A must see!

By margaretlea |

I was amazed by this production! The stage is HUGE, special effects are awesome, the performers were great and sound and lighting were excellent!

Unbelievable Sets and Scenery

By Gran7 |

You feel like you are actually in David’s homes and feel the spirit of his message! The acting and singing is amazing. Live animals add so much to the story. Scenery changes are the best in the country. What a great experience. Sell out crowd but the management makes parking and entry so easy. Enjoy!

Absolutely a must see!!!

By Heather B |

Prepared to be blown away!! The stage and the set is more amazing than you can imagine! Wonderful time start to finish. This is my favorite place in Branson every time we come back hands down.

Must see!!!

By Mimi D |

Incredible show! Actors did a fantastic job. Bibilically accurate! Exceeded my expectations. Friendly staff! Had concession stand for snacks. Clean restrooms.

Don't miss this show!!!

By Cindy J |

AWESOME!!! David is fantastic. You leave wanting more and knowing you need to read about David in the Bible, again. Looking forward to seeing more shows.

Queen Ester's costumes-live animals well-rehearsed!

By ofrwprez |

Absolutely beautiful and amazing Set in 3D! Recommend Middle to upper "value" seating to see entire stage and the characters with animals! Watch for Doves flying overhead!

Wow!! Just wow!!

By TexasKelt |

Friends recommended that we not miss the Queen Esther production. And we were so glad we came!

It is a fabulous production with automated scene changes that flow seamlessly from one stage setting to another.

The music and voices were well modulated. The script moved from one event to another and was an accurate depiction of the Biblical story (only small license for time and size). Children were delighted with the live animals and actors walking through theater.

We plan to come back for future productions!

THE AMAZING STORY OF DAVID.

By Dale M |

"David" was beyond amazing.
Absolutely wonderful acting & the scenery that was in the background was phenomenal. DONT MISS IT.

Spectacular!

By Sunshine101067 |

My daughter and visited Branson for college spring break and this theatre and the Queen Esther show were spectacular! The sets, costumes, animals, and music were amazing. Also, large restrooms, and loved the cookies from the concession counter.
We will be back to this theatre when visiting Branson.

Don’t Miss!

By jnfrun98 |

What an awesome place to see a show at! The building was magnificent and the set for the live theater show was so dynamic and it wrapped 3/4 around us. They had live animals involved in the show and the actors were all wonderful. Would highly recommend seeing anything they perform here!

Stellar Shows Continue To Impress

By David B |

We watched their latest production called David, and it was great. They do an amazing job of producing a moving biblical story on stage. For us, the show David ranked as our second most favorite show here, behind the show Jesus. No matter what show is running, it is well worth the price of admission.

Best Event in Branson, MO!

Absolutely recommend Sight and Sound. This was our third time to attend an in person event at Sight and Sound in Branson, MO. We saw Esther in 2023, then again in 2024, and now David. Sight and Sound alone is worth the trip here for us. Incredible talent, amazing sets, beautiful gospel messages shared.

5/5 stars from both of us

By Shinae W |

Stunning in every way. Just an incredible experience from beginning to end.

Even if musicals aren't "your thing", the performances and production make this a really memorable experience.

Absolutely amazing!

By Gretchen L |

I had heard so many good things about this place that I was almost afraid it would not live up to the hype. But, it did. It blew my mind how amazing this production was. 100% worth the money and time. Arrive 45 minutes early like they suggest because this place was completely packed. Even if you're not a Christian, you should still go see a show. Nothing on broadway can compete with what they do, imho.

David

By ILoveTexas |

We first came here a year ago for Queen Esther, which made us want to come back again for The Miracle of Christmas, which made us want to come and see David. It did not disappoint! It was moving and inspiring, with Broadway-level talent (maybe better) and an amazing set. Everyone at the theatre is exceptionally kind and helpful.

Must 👀

By Bryan K |

David a must see when visiting Branson, especially if you are a believer or curious about biblical history. The props, special affects were amazing. The acting and singing very professional. The animals running through the auditorium very well trained and added a great touch to the whole experience.

Quality production

By Donald P |

Just attended the Miracle of Christmas show. Wow! Our first time there and found it is quite an impressive venue. They go all out to put on an outstanding performance.
The sets were incredible. Singing was great, and the message was very strong and honoring to God.
Live animals, flying angels, great wardrobes all led to an enjoyable show with a great message. Highly recommend this!

With the crowd I expected a long traffic jam leaving but it only took a few minutes and a little bit of patience.

Sight and Sound Never Disappoints!

By Rosemary T |

Absolutely Amazing! Outstanding production!
We were seated up front, not knowing they would be using smoke machines. I have very sick lungs and am on oxygen. During intermission we spoke to staff about not being able to handle the smoke, and they graciously found another place for us to sit, further away.
All staff were very kind and helpful. Performance Outstanding! Definitely worth the money!!

The experience is worth an entire trip to Branson!

By TravellersKid |

The experience is worth an entire trip to Branson! The stage is 300 degrees of panoramic theatrical excellence! The colors, lighting, costumes, stage props and the rotating sets were over the top. Esther was a three-hour performance with a 20-minute intermission, during which the theater which holds 2085 people emptied and there were enough bathrooms to accommodate everyone in the time allotted. My ONLY complaint was the volume. The entire performance was between 74 and 86 decibels, except for the singing, which was in the mid 90's, and topped out at 102 decibels a few times. After the performance, I wanted to report to a manager that it's plenty loud for everyone to hear and that people may enjoy it even more if the master volume were turned down just a smidge, but the man at the desk, who didn't know what a decibel was, just told me, "we like it loud" and shooed me away so he could continue doing nothing, as there were no other patrons around. Take away: see the show and bring earplugs.

Queen Esther show was TERRIFIC!

By Greg O |

Once we arrived in Branson, we booked a visit to see Queen Esther. I had not looked at many of the reviews prior to selecting this show. But the show was FANTASTIC! It was the best show that we saw while in Branson. The details and the wrap-around stage were great and there wasn't a dull moment. I am really glad we decided to see this show. Don't Miss It! They said this is the last season and only runs through October '23.

It was a great show for the entire extended family

By tcoleman15 |

It was a great show we look forward to the next one. They could up their snack game a little but it was great to go with the extended family. My wife and daughter went to teh Queen Esther one and they still talk about it a year later.

David

By Tim K |

This is just amazing show! It is a must see show! I could watch it over again. All actors are awesome. Sound is awesome. Go see it!

Outstanding

By Tom H |

Once again Sight & Sound production of David was amazing. The show will move you for sure. If you have the chance go! The set is truly amazing and the music is awesome.

DO NOT MISS OUT!!!

By Navigate45222834391 |

Amazing show! We have been to many at the S&ST but this one was especially special for my niece. It was her first time and loved getting to see the true meaning of Christmas!
Also - I would like to thank the usher, Leah, who was at the top and helped my family with our seating and accommodating to us so we could have the best experience! Wonderful lady!

Amazing

By Amy |

The whole experience was amazing. The performance of David was all we hoped it would be. Thank you Sight and Sound! I booked a trip with my 3 young adults and it was so fun. They loved it.

Truly Amazing!

By Debi G |

Just amazing! No other way to describe it. The details, performances, live animals just outstanding! The giant Goliath was on point. When he was slain and hit the floor over the top! Great job to all that make the Bible come to Life!

Queen Esther was fabulous.

By sharonsR2609RR |

Great production of Queen Esther. Amazing staging. We had a wonderful time enjoying the story. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Recommend seeing this play.

Better Than All of Broadway!

By Chad |

I’m still blown away by everything at this show from the grandeur of the building, the intricate & innovative set, talent, & production level. This was an immersive experience that will make you believe you are apart of the story. Take the whole family!

"David: Unshaken"

By Debbie S |

Saw DAVID! Amazing, wonderful, encompassing; there really are no words in my vocabulary to describe this show. I've seen Esther and the Christmas one and they were amazing as well, but David pierced my heart.

Very Good Theatre.

By MOWildlife |

Excellent Christmas shows, great theatre, good parking with staff very accommodating. Veterans get a discount st the concessions.

Fabulous Show

By 941scarlettohara |

Unbelievable Show!! the theatre is amazing...it has 3 sides! and the staging makes it look like you are in Persia! The costumes are so realistic to the times and the story is beautiful! even has some humor!!

A Must See!

By 475debram |

I’ve just returned from the most amazing experience at the Sight and Sound theater in Branson Missouri.
Their new production of David was absolutely phenomenal. Well worth our trip to travel all the way here 9 hours bringing my elderly mother for her birthday celebration.
The actors, the music and the stage design were breathtaking. It much better than most of the Broadway productions that I’ve seen.
Book early to get the best seats. We were on the center aisle seats and they absolutely were incredible seats for seeing the actors and the animals up close as they walked by.
The children in our group were mesmerized by the animals, the songs and the incredible story.

True excellence in performing

By Cindy S |

If you have never experienced a story at Sight and Sound you are missing something. Their experience is multi-dimensional - stages in front and on both sides, live animals, great sound system, beautiful costumes, wonderful music, even action ABOVE you.
Go see the Christmas show!

Fabulous!

By Heiditeach |

If you go to Branson you must go see a play at Sight and Sound Theater. You will see a massive production that outshines any Broadway play. The plays use animals, technology, 3/4 of the theater is the stage, outstanding acting and music. Amazing is a mild word to describe Sight and Sound. You won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful musical

By Meander66913579290 |

Seen a beautiful musical by David. This production has cost a lot of money that you never see in Europe. Many animals also pass by such as sheep, camels, horses and pigeons. Highly recommended.

Spectacular MUST See!

By Caslin |

Amazing and spectacular! David was as good as the other shows we have seen there. Friendly staff, beautiful theater... and MUST see!! We have been several times and hope to go back with the next show!

“David” is Great, But Great Liberties Taken

By Chris L |

We attended a matinee performance of Sight & Sound’s newest production, “David.” The actors, staging, lighting, and sound are nothing short of amazing. Just know there are a lot of liberties taken in the story itself.

It starts by portraying David’s father, Jesse, as a taskmaster never approving of his youngest son. This theme runs throughout the production, with David saying after his coronation something to the effect of “If he were here, he’d tell me it’s time to get to work.” Next, David is portrayed as becoming increasingly weary from his many battles and especially from dealing with the needs and petitions of the people (aka Moses in Exodus 18). It’s this weariness rather than lust that leads to his affair with Bathsheba and murdering her husband, Uriah. Then the story ends with David’s repentance.

I would still encourage anyone to go, but go for a great performance rather than a Sunday School lesson.

Fantastic show and theatre

By Sandy D |

The show, theatre and staff were great. We've been to a lot of plays but have never seen anything like this. It was fantastic. We really want to see more of these productions. The singing and the acting were top notch. You don't want to miss this.

Amazing not-to-be missed show!

By James T |

Wow! I’m not a theater kind of guy, but this place is amazing! We saw Queen Esther and the set, sights and sounds were beyond anything I expected. It is a huge wrap-around stage with a beautiful and realistic set. Costumes were also great… and they have live animals in the show! Horses trot down the aisles during part of the show and live dives are released and fly through the huge theatre. This is a must see, and I don’t use that term lightly.

Excellent show

By Celeste S |

This is our 3rd. Time here, and we can’t wait to come back.
We are always impressed by the actors and all the talent in these shows.
The theater is impeccable with the way they use the whole thing. It makes you feel like you are a part of the story. God is truly in the middle of this work.

Friends trip

By Roger C |

We saw Queen Esther here and it was an amazing production. Definitely the best show we saw in Branson. The sets were amazing and the acting was good. This place puts on a great show!!

Don’t miss this show!!!

By michael m |

I highly recommend the performance “David”. The whole sights and sounds organization have maybe put together their best performance ever. Branson is fortunate to have such a professional theatre. Plenty of parking, strong security presence to ensure your safety, and helpful employees. Glazed almonds anyone? Can’t see a show without them.

Esther

By Dianne A |

We saw the production Esther. I was absolutely fantastic. I have seen other productions such as Noah, The are all well worth the price. Because of the live animals that are in the productions, children will enjoy this experience.

Breath taking

By Jeane S |

By far the best show “Queen Esther” in Branson! Took grandkids and they totally enjoyed it more than we could have hope for. Would recommend it for any group.

Not worth it

By Anthony M |

The music was uninspired. The story was disjointed and covered too much time for a short play. They added a whole section about David with his mom as a boy and about his father not liking him that was felt forced and unnecessary. They spent too much time on his wife Michal and took liberties there as well. It felt like they were relying on the set and animals to carry the show and frankly I was bored and couldn't wait until it was over. I went with great expectations because of what I'd heard about other productions there and I was very disappointed to say the least.

Absolutely Gorgeous!

By CJH218 |

What an amazing production! Sets and costumes were gorgeous! (Photo taken during intermission.) The wrap-around stage immerses you in the story. This was my first Sight and Sound experience, but it won't be my last!

The play is so good and the songs are so good and all the actors are so good

By Jenna L |

All the people were incredibly amazing performers all the food is awesome all the music is amazing and I feel like I am in the story

Where the people of Color at?

By Marsha B |

I agree with most who say the production of David is amazing. Some scriptural license was taken with content, but it's covering several Chapters of Samuel. My concern as a person of color was the absolute absence of people of color. We're talking the African continent Egypt, Gaza, Isreal for God's sake! I will not be supporting this venue again until I see color changes.

Spectacular theatre presentation!

By Disneybus |

My wife and I, traveling from New Jersey, saw Daniel earlier this year in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and were surprised how identical the two venues are, from the exterior facade to the concessions, to even the parking lot. The large panoramic stage is amazing, surrounding you and allowing you to immerse within the story. Do not block the isles, or run off to get your signature roasted almonds during the show or you might be trampled by a four legged actor! The shows choreography and cast are simply excellent. Finally, both the shows we've seen this year bring forth a surprise guest at the conclusion. Our one disappointment was that the actors did not come out of character for a final bow acknowledging their talents. The curtain just closed upon them.

Fabulous

By Cindy W |

Fabulous theatrical experience. Truly undescribable!! Every detail of the production was top-notch from the customer service to the performers to the acoustics. Don't miss out!!

Big Production in a friendly town

By ❤️totravel |

Have been to several productions at the Sight and Sound Theatre. Just saw The Miracle of Christmas for the second time. Awesome, top of the line. I have seen productions on Broadway in New York and Sight and Sound ranks right up there with New York productions. I highly recommend Sight and Sound. You won’t be disappointed.

Magnificent show!

By Tenpas |

We’ve been to sight and sound many times but David is truly one of the best. The singing and story lines was breathtaking.

Breathtaking

By Darren D |

I've seen Noah, Christmas, Samson, and most recently Esther. The wrap-around sets have always been incredible, and Esther takes it to a new level. We were amazed at how many combinations could be made of the center stage. The palace transformed into a courtyard, a garden, and more. It was a creative marvel. In addition the acting, usage of the entire auditorium, music, etc. was excellent. We live 7hrs from Branson, and it is worth the drive to just go to Sight & Sound (although we often visit a number of attractions as well).

Spectacular

By Kathy H |

The experience is breathtaking. My second visit and I wouldn't hesitate for a third. Esther and David were both amazing.

Had a fabulous time!

By Ann D |

It was such a wonderful show. I enjoyed it very much. They all did an amazing job. It was very interesting to watch. I would recommend everyone should go and see it.

Another awesome experience

By Anita B |

We spent our honeymoon in Branson 43 years ago and we try to go back every few years even though it’s a six hour trip for us now We are never disappointed In the site and sound this time with Esther and come back more inspired, they really put their heart into it

Just Wow!

By mkerickson |

Wow is all I can say! David at the Sight & Sound theater ranks right at the same level as some of the best productions on Broadway and London West End I have seen. The 180 degree stage, live animals, elaborate stage construction and effects, great singing and acting were simply amazing! The thing that surprised me the most is none of the actors were listed in the program nor was there a curtain call at the end of the show - why? Because this show’s focus was to honor God and not the actors or producers. Well done good and faithful servants! I highly recommend this experience!

Amazing- set up high for best view

By Diane |

Outstanding. Period! If you are debating about going.....go! Advice, set back in upper section so you can enjoy the "whole" show as it is also on the sides.

Awesome production

By T C |

The production of David was absolutely spectacular. We were at the 3pm show. We purchased our tickets late, so we were on the right side approximately 6 aisles up. The stage spans both sides, right and left, and the front stage. A huge production utilizing all 3 stages and using live animals. Impressive organization with the actors, animals, lighting and music.

The music was awesome, and the creation of giants was enormous. This is the best production I've ever seen and the high light of our week.

Now for a suggestion. It was announced that there is a family room for small children that may need it. Unfortunately, the family behind us had a 3 year old that talked the entire time and ran in between family members. Ushers were far away from us and we were in the middle seats. I realize this is the family's issue but maybe if there were more ushers available to folks to ask for assistance.

🎭 TOP NOTCH performers and sets.

By Vagabond |

Absolutely worth the drive . If the only thing you do in Branson is experience this show it will have been worth it. Better than anything Broadway has to offer in my opinion. But experience it for yourself. I think you'll agree.

DO NOT MISS SEEING THIS SHOW!

By ryversx1 |

We saw Sight and Sound production of Queen Esther. We have seen 3 other shows, but hands down this was our favorite. My husband and I really enjoyed this show. We were amazed by the set and the actors and the animals. It truly was a spiritual experience. It helped that we read the book of Esther before going. It made it so easy to follow the show. Looking forward to other productions!

Buy tickets early

By Bill L |

We were in the top back corner and i didnt feel we experienced the best. It always sells oit so buy your tickets esrly so you can be on the floor where yoire surrounded bu the sounds and sights

Queen Esther at Sight and Sound Theater in Branson was an amazing production! The talent, the costumes, the sets and especially the message were worth the time and money.

Excellent production

By TinaP |

The reason for the whole trip to Branson and well worth it. The production was excellent. Would make the trip again next year for the new show.

Must see!

By Jhat1 |

Amazing theater. Main stage and 2 side stages, lots of live animals and amazing special effects. We saw David and watching him defeat Goliath was remarkable!!

We saw David and loved it

By lamarbradley |

This was our third experience at the Sight & Sound Theater in Branson and each time we have been very impressed with the quality of the production. The stories closely follow the Bible and are very inspirational. The shows are almost always sold out, so if you plan a trip, be sure to get tickets well in advance to get good seats. You won't be disappointed.

Blessed and Grateful

By Jimm1495 |

Queen Esther was absolutely amazing! The set, the actors, the Bible story
and the team members working in the gift shops and concessions. Queen Esther is a must see! This is our first experience with Sight and Sound theaters and we cannot wait to return. We plan on never missing another production. Adding to our experience was a very cordial and dedicated staff member at the gift shop, Kathy was so kind and genuine. We look forward to seeing the production again and Kathy. We both felt as if it were a Godwink that we met. Thank you Kathy for escalating our experience with Sight and Sound Theatres! We left feeling blessed and spiritually moved!

Sight and Sound Theater/Branson Activities

By Inspiration422056 |

I have been to Broadway plays in New York and Chicago. The Sight and Sound production of Queen Esther was as good if not better! The scale of the stage makes you feel as if you’ve stepped right into Persia! The stage circled 3/4 of the huge room. In my opinion, the farther back your seat is, the better. We sat midway and had to keep turning around to see the hustle and bustle of the city. My husband and I now want to see all of their plays! Also, if you’re in Branson make sure and check out, College of the Ozarks! We had dinner at, The Keeter Center. The meal is prepared by their culinary students who come out in white coats. They also have a pianists who played Christian and Disney music (on weekends-check website). The meal and atmosphere was outstanding! We would definitely return here. We also toured the campus the next day and enjoyed the museum, the chapel, Patriot’s Park, the stained glass and candle shop, and the mill. Top of the Rock was neat and of course Silver Dollar City! We traveled from Tennessee and stopped at the Laura Ingalls Wilder homes and museum along the way. It was worth the stop.

A Must See

By Randy L |

Amazing performance and a great venue. Their shows get better and better, with David being the best. It was so poienant and relevant to our lives. We had 6 people attending, and everyone of us were so emotional at the end, we "all" had tears. This show was the jewel of all the shows we saw, a must see for anyone visiting Branson. Get your tickets early, the best sets sell out weeks in advance. The best seats being middle isles as performers and animals go up and down them. I always get front row, center, but front row isn't best here. The stage wraps around the sides and you end up cranking your neck too much to see the sides from the first 10 or so rows.

Life altering experience which eclipses broadway

By Heath B |

I've been to several Broadway shows in both New York and London. This is by far, the most visually impressive I've ever seen. Immersive, well-written, well-acted, and set pieces that will leave you speechless. Whether you are a Christian or not, you need to see this life-altering show. It will leave a lasting impression upon you. If you do only one thing in Branson, make sure this is it, but save it for the end, because nothing in Branson will come close to your encounter at the Sight and Sound Theater.

AMAZING

By TexasMomma |

We have been to this theater many times.
We have sat on the floor-left side, upper center, and upper left side - all good seats!
Each performance has been wonderful. The latest, David, was spectacular.

There is an intermission between the two
acts of the show. Be back in your seat within the time frame. The staff gives reminders of time left before the show restarts and doors close.
The bathrooms have many stalls.
Staff is very friendly.

Can't miss the Sight and Sound Production, when in Branson

By rhaltn56 |

Just seen David the newest presentation and it was great. If you have never seen one of their productions, then you are really missing something special. This is something that all ages will enjoy and well worth the price paid, one of the better shows that I have seen. I will make a trip just to see one of their productions, the actors and scenery are all incredible and give strong performances, very moving experience.

An Amazing Experience

By Shanee' A |

Absolutely amazing and over exceeded our expectations! As soon as the side curtains opened it was a whole new experience. Middle seating will be what we go for next time to see the sides better but we were on lower left just a few rows back and still had a great view of everything. The lines for restroom at first we thought were extremely long during intermission but they assured us they would not start again until the line was down. It moved very quickly as there was a lady inside restroom that was helping the flow of traffic. Queen Esther is the one we saw and I can't wait to go back and see more. We had an 8 year old with us that was in awe, the 5 year old had their attention held the first half but not as much the second. Highly suggest going to this if you can. Will definitely be going back.

An unforgettable experience!

By Joe & Myra |

My family and I had seen several of their musicals via DVD, but seeing one in person was something else. We watched David, and I suggest their production is better than what Broadway offers. Just the various sets alone and how they're perfectly designed and moved is impressive enough, but then you add the story, the live animals, the cast and animals moving through the main aisles, the acting and singing of the cast, and the side stages making you feel like you're there in the story and you have an unforgettable experience. Best of all, their production is a great reminder of hope and faith. We live about 8.5 hours away, but I told my wife, I wouldn't mind making the drive for a long weekend just to see another production.

Powerful Performance

By Donna |

The talent singers, scenery, and animals were all phenomenal. The story of David was portrayed beautifully. The snowfall was so amazing and unexpected. This show is a must-see while visiting Branson.

Best production made!

By Luvtakingpics |

We could not have imagined how spectacular this production of David would be! Love love loved it! We took our 17 year old granddaughter & 13 year old grandson. They couldn’t stop talking about it. I’m going to see Noah in Lancaster PA now.

Dont miss a chance to see their production of 'David'

By DD42301 |

Seeing the David production was the main reason for my trip to Branson and it did not disappoint. Everything was amazing. It is a beautiful building and the play was so inspiring. I was worried that it would not be biblically accurate, but it was. My only suggestion is to read the biblical accounts before you go in order to have a better understanding of what you are seeing onstage. I would see it again, if I could.

Always Amazing!

By baldprincipal |

We’ve seen nearly every Sights and Sounds Production. Saw David last night and they never cease to amaze me. Excellent production and a great story. They never disappoint! I heartily recommend Sights and Sounds Theater.

David

By Kyle s |

Most amazing show I've ever seen! The theatre is fantastic and the talent was the best I've ever seen. Can't wait to see it again!

Solid production, David storyline is so-so

By Karen - Veiled Valley |

I am very impressed by the production - the quality of the setting, animals as a part of the crew, and the special effects and scene changes. Music is also rather excellent.

I watched David, and I have to say that the storyline is just okay. With David's story having so much material to cover, it is hard to condense it into one cohesive story and highlight important themes. I also don't agree with all their interpretations, but of course this can be the case for anyone.

Overall, the theatrical production is solid.

Amazing!

By Steve D |

This production was phenomenal. This show is on the same level as Ben Hur, The Ten Commandments, The Greatest Story Ever Told, or Jesus Christ Superstar! The singing and acting are top notch. The script h brings a theological depth to the story of Esther I had never considered. The wraparound stage is just awesome. I’m so sorry the live production is coming to an end, but it should be available on DVD soon if it’s not available now.

Extravagant night of entertainment

By Beverly F |

Sight and Sound Theater’s production of Esther was every bit as outstanding as we had been told. The stage was massive extending up both sides of the audience. The action and sound came from everywhere including riders on horseback arriving via the center aisle. The music was great and the sound was perfect from every contributing player. It was a wow experience!

Not what I expected

By Leanne P |

We've seen every different production at Sight and Sound Theater at least once for years. We travel from south Louisiana and it's always at the top of our list. But sadly to say, the production of "David" falls short when compared to all the others.
Lots of sheep...I'll give them that. But the music is very repetitive, the sets are predominantly gray and muted. The 1st half in particular just was downright boring and King David's story definitely is not!

Such a wonderful experience

By JeffandMir |

This show ( David) was excellent! We sat near the back and still saw everything fine and felt a part of the story. The singing was awesome and I saw several people wiping away tears, meaning the actors did a great job. Highly recommend.

Beautiful and moving!

By Vicki S |

This was our second S and S experience. We are planning a third for the spring. Everything about this production is excellent. The talent, the music the sets, the sound, the staff, the grounds, everything is beautiful and spectacular. I cried.

Amazing and engaging presentation of David’s complex story

By Humble2God |

David is an amazing performance! It is performed with such precision.
The use of staging and technical direction is so immersive that it draws everyone into the story, which is an amazing presentation of an active bible message.

Don’t Sit on the Front Row

By David G |

This is an amazing show, spectacular costumes, flawless music, and fantastic sets! Unfortunately, we got seats in the front row and the stage blocked some of our view and we had to turn around to see the side sets, etc. Please don’t make that mistake. I don’t understand why they would even have seats like that?

We love Sight and Sound !

By win4spot |

Everything we have seen here is amazing & broadway quality . We saw the Miracle of Christmas last week and in past Queen Esther and Noah . They definitely bring the Bible to life !

Spiritually move by Queen Esther at Sight and Sound.

By Thomas C |

We had seen Daniel at Sight and Sound in Lancaster Pa and were very spiritually moved by it and immediately wanted to see Queen Esther in Branson. We stayed at the Hilton Promenade. I would not recommend staying there. Even though it is closer to the water and shops it can be a hike to your room and room service has to come the Hilton across the street at the convention center.
The Queen Esther Play was fantastic!!!! Just as spiritually moving as Daniel. The staff from the folks who help you park to the ushers are friendly, helpful and professional working hard to ensure all your needs are met. We had a person with mobility issues and the parking staff got us right up front for an easy drop off and pick up. We can’t recommend Sight and Sound more highly.

This is the second production we’ve been to at Sight & Sound. This production of “David” is amazing! I was moved to tears many times. Amazing cast, unbelievable visuals and music that is fantastic! Highly recommend!

Highlight of our 3 day trip (David)

Regardless of your religious beliefs, you'll walk away throughly impressed by this massive 2800 seat theater with a 300 foot 180 degree stage.

DAVID Live on Stage

By Ranaj888 |

Saw the production’DAVID Live on Stage’ - amazing!!! From the props, live animals running up and down aisles, amazing singing; it was incredible.

Queen Esther.

By James G |

We saw Queen Esther and it was brilliant. This place never lets you down. Great play and great props. Go see it before they wind it up for the season.

Fantastic experience

By karilclee |

I took my two girls (11 and 7) to see Queen Esther. It was a fantastic experience! We attend plays regularly, but this is an immersive experience. The set goes around on the sides and is incredibly intricate. Actors and animals run up and down the aisles, and the audience is encouraged to engage throughout. It is engaging from start to finish. Highly recommend.

Christain based play

By Tim B |

Very well put together stage play. A little comedy, but story line is very accurate. From the start you feel like your really there. Would definitely do it again. God has blessed this performance.

Miracle of Christmas

By DeeGalando |

Went with our two daughters. They were moved to tears a few times. Very exciting play, live animals and lots of friendly courteous people.

Beautiful presentation of Queen Esther

By lamarbradley |

We attended a performance of Queen Esther at the Sight and Sound Theater and was impressed with everything. The costumes, the set, and the actors are all topnotch and portray a powerful story masterfully. If you go, spend a little extra to get a floor seat. We were in a group and had balcony seats that were too far from the stage to get a good view of actors facial expressions so that was a disappointment, but that's on us. The performance is amazing. Don't miss it.

Spectacular

By Rick J |

What an awesome experience. The presentation of David was spectacular and we enjoyed every minute. We can’t wait to go to another show.

David @ Sight & Sound - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Two Thumbs Up — A Must-See Masterpiece!

By A2coolcity |

Having attended Broadway productions for many years and seen countless high-level musical performances, I can honestly say that the Sight & Sound production of David in Branson, Missouri surpasses anything I have ever witnessed on Broadway. Every aspect of this show is executed at the highest possible level—the storyline, acting, choreography, live music, sets, lighting, and special effects are all absolutely breathtaking.

Beyond the technical excellence, as a strong Christian believer, what impacted me the most was the powerful move of God throughout the entire production. Watching the life of King David—his rise, his fall, and his restoration—unfold so beautifully was deeply moving and spiritually profound. There were moments that truly brought tears to my eyes. The gospel message is presented with strength, clarity, and grace.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed every second of this production, and we would return again in a heartbeat. It is uplifting, inspiring, and emotionally powerful.

✅ Two thumbs up
✅ Five stars
✅ A must-see for the entire family

If you are visiting Branson, this show should be at the very top of your list. You will not be disappointed.

Outstanding Performance

Awesome show and experience. We have been to several of the Sight and Sound productions but this was the first time to see David and it do not disappoint!

Amazing show (with ADA suggestion)

By MrsM90 |

My husband, mother and I absolutely loved this show! It was Biblically accurate, wonderfully costumed and well performed. The stage wraps around the side walls and there is a lot going on. There were several live animals including lots of sheep. The puppets for Goliath and his brothers are something to see! My husband is on oxygen and I was worried about him on the stairs but we wanted a better view for my short mother and I. After discussing it with my husband and a customer service representative we chose row LL in the tiered seats on the isle. It was closer to the top of the tiers. There is an elevator that goes up to the top of the tiers. We had about 10 stairs to use. We did have a great view. Going back up them was too hard for my husband because they are a bit steep and his O2 level dropped pretty low. Because of this I do not recommend that you sit in the tiers with someone on oxygen. There is plenty of seating on the floor for anyone with difficulty walking or with breathing issues like my husband. I would go again but would sit on the floor level. If you sit in the top of the tiers be prepared for a long wait if you want to go to the concession stand during the intermission. They’re only on the floor level and the line was very long by the time I got down to that level.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

David was an amazing show. It so nice to have Broadway type of entertainment here in the Ozarks. The singers in this production were truly outstanding and astonishing singers. Really Great Job!

Still fantastic

By sevco1 |

This is an amazing theatre that puts on an amazing show. If you are offended by religious content then this show is not for you. I saw the show's production of Jesus and It was phenomenal. The Esther production was not as good but it was still very good and worth watching.

Fantastic Show, but One Serious Flaw

By gardog |

First time at this theater. The best seats are on the main floor but not too close to the stage, as there is so much to see. The Queen Esther show has a spectacular set that spans 180 degrees and is phenomenal. The costumes are spectacular. The acting is great; the songs fit their need but are forgettable. My one complaint (dropping the rating from a 5 to a 4) is at the very end the Hebrews sing a song that includes a chorus of YHWH over and over; this name of the Lord would not be uttered out loud by the Hebrews, much less constantly repeated, and is insensitive (perhaps even offensive) to Jews. Not mandatory, but read the Book of Esther before you go! You will enjoy it more.

Miracle of Christmas 2024

By Water Fan |

Thoroughly enjoyed “Miracle of Christmas.”

We are never disappointed with the productions at Sight and Sound - also appreciate the organization during intermission and bathroom cleanliness.

Amazing

By Lori H |

DAVID—the most amazing live performance I have ever seen. Very true to Biblical story with an excellent cast of over 100 and included well-trained animals. The 300 foot wrap around stage was incredible and well used. Special effects, such as a lion and Goliath were unbelievable.
I would love to see all the performances—Jesus, Noah, Jonah and others.

David at Sight and Sound 2025

By Pam K |

Sight and Sound does wonderful live theater performances. This year we saw the play "David" about King David in the Bible. Live animals. Beautiful sets. Great music. They obviously can't do all of David's life, but they choose the scenes that give you an idea of who he was: a man after God's own heart.

David

By Lynn R |

The story of David’s life was an incredible journey through the Bible. I love seeing the animals and characters come down the aisle. Awesome show!

Spectacular! Don't Miss It!!!

By Denise M |

Saw their most recent show, Queen Esther. Just as the same theater doesn't disappoint in Lancaster, PA; this location provides its patrons with the same top-notch, engaging & spectacular theater experience!

For the best experience; as soon as you know you're traveling to Branson or Lancaster, purchase your tickets DIRECTLY ONLINE from either theater so you get a great seat selection. Have the tickets held in WILL CALL & then you're able to pick them up days prior to your scheduled performance; or you may pick them up the day of. Very convenient!

This time, we were only 3 & 4 rows from the front & at center stage. Excellent view though further back may be easier to catch all that goes on during a performance. The set is amazing & is not only centered but utilized on both sides.

We enjoyed this SO much; including the presence of live animals in addition to the cast. Aisles are used for entrances & exits; so if you're sitting on an end seat, keep yourselves & your belongings tucked close.

I wouldn't however; bring small children to any live theater event; including this one. If a child/baby is too young to sit still & not fuss, cry or talk during the entire show; they're too young! With that said, children who are over 6 & CAN SIT STILL would enjoy this as well. (Someone was there with 2 babies in strollers. . .SIGH). There really are places that very young children shouldn't be.

The theater is well-staffed, clean & as silly as this sounds; has a fantastic restroom system to keep everyone moving in a timely manner - & as many ladies know, this is quite a feat!

There are concessions available on either side of the immense lobby as well as gift shops.
Whether you're familiar with the Bible or not; these shows are worth going to!!! You may even learn something!

Live theatre

By Carolyn S |

We saw the Miracle of Christmas, what a great way to begin the holiday season. As usual the cast brought the Bible to life and shared the gospel. If you haven't seen a show at Sight and Sound you're missing a fantastic experience. We set in section BB and it was the perfect seat to enjoy all the activity around us. Between flying angels, real animals and the story being shared, can't ask for anything better.

Theatrical Extravaganza

By Tina S |

We had never been to the Sight and Sound Theater, but had heard so much positive feedback in the past that we really wanted to go. We booked a family trip to Branson and viewed, “The Miracle of Christmas.” I have never been so wowed in my life. Live animals, angels hanging from the ceiling and incredible vocals & acting. We will certainly be there agin for “David” next year too! And no charge for parking.

Great, as usual!

By BayouRoamer |

Saw the production of David, this being our 6th show to see here. Every show has been phenomenal up to this point…….and this one was just as phenomenal. The acting, singing, and special effects are simply amazing. I especially loved the “giants” of the show. And as usual, the Gospel presentation was awesome.

Immpresive!

By Traveler |

Beautiful impressive sets, wonderful voices, and acting that brought their characters to life. Every staff member we interacted with seem to enjoy their job and were happy to share information with us. We will make the six hour drive back to see as many different shows as we can at The Sights and Sounds theater.

Absolutely unreal

By Curt C |

This was an unbelievable experience for our whole family with a stunning theater and great cast. Truly the most impressive show I have seen.

Best musical production in Branson MO.

By Sheryl Y |

These musical productions based on biblical characters are fantastic! Because of the amazing special effects, outstanding acting, singing and dancing, realistic settings including live animals, these shows are good even if you don't especially believe the stories are true. From experience, the production value is absolutely as good if not better than any musical Broadway show. We saw the newest, the story of "King David" and can't wait for the chance to see more.

Incredible stage set and professional performances. Highly recommended.

By Taylor B |

Saw Queen Ester last weekend. Wow. Unbelievable stage set, wieghts ovver 50 thousand pounds. Great performance and sound. Everyone on pitch. Horses and llamas on stage and coming down the aisles. Incredible performance. Stages on the right and left. Four stories high stage sets. Very professional, and a class act all the way around.

An Amazing Thretre!

By Myra P |

This theatre is amazing. I can truly say I've never seen anything like this before. The play is primarily preformed on the center stage that has moveable scenery, live animals and a center stage mechanical drop where the performers and animals walk through the audience. There are two stages on both sides of the theatre that are used during the performance. It brings biblical characters to life.

The only complaint I would have is there is insufficient handicapped parking causing some (including us) to have a long walk to the theatre entrance.

Excellent entertainment, nothing better.

By 210RobertB210 |

Fantastic production, epic sets....just beautiful. Great story and music. I was fascinated the whole time. Must see when visiting Branson.

Branson's Sight and Sound Theatre and the production "David" are magnificent!

By susieqqqq |

Branson's Sight and Sound Theatre and the production "David" are magnificent! The 2 side wings of the theater and the center stage all have large sets with people and animals moving on and off throughout the 2-hour show. Very elaborate sets are moved on and off the 3 locations as if by magic. Great singing, especially by David. The visual effects when David killed Goliath and, much later, Gloliath's brothers were stunning.

Go see David!!

By crusher79 |

Very clean and we loved seeing the play David the show was amazing. Very well organized and interactive with the characters. Highly recommended!!

We loved the play. Definitely will come to see it again. Wonderful sets! The characters did an awesome job The animals were great!

The Best Shows in Branson

By ClickerM |

I almost hate to review because I can't do the experience justice. We've visited S&S many time and it just continues to get better and better. David was outstanding...the ending made my wife and I both cry. The sets always just amaze us. Please keep doing what you are doing...it's refreshing to receive this type of entertainment and the altar call at the end is so great...thank you!

Excellent

By Carmen M |

QUEEN ESTHER was the venue. Excellent in all aspects. Stage was amazing. Not a country performance but definitely a unique experience.

Don't Miss This!!

By Jill H |

This will NOT disappoint!! The show David was AMAZING!! It exceeded my expectations. I can highly recommend! Well done, Sight and Sound🙌

Outstanding

By Teresa C |

This was by far, the best show I have ever attended. It was absolutely amazing. The set alone is jaw dropping with wonderful music, costumes, actors, and written with a wonderful storyline taken from the scriptures. Live animals, including birds flying were so good too. Lots of movement to watch from all sides and even up and down isles!

Awesome place to bring your young Bible learners

By Carmen M |

The drama was amazing! You could feel the anointing! The actors/ singers were skilled. The scenery was amazing! We will go back!

Best show in Branson.

By DeAnn P |

Glad we saved the best for last. We would have be sorely disappointed in all the other shows had we seen Sites and Sounds at the beginning of our visit. This theater seats 3000 and all seats were taken at 3:30 showing. We were blown away at the production of David. The costumes, the songs, the live animals, the sets, the speed in which the sets were changed was all truly amazing. If you're on a budget for shows this should be at the top of the list. Expect long restroom lines during intermission and don't be in a hurry to get out of the parking lot.

family event

By avidreader2Tripadvis |

the David event we went to was taken to an even higher level than the ones in the past. The staff was extremely helpful. Our tickets were messed up and they worked everything out, literally minutes before the event started. They did everything they could to help us enjoy this

Branson vacation

By Darla S |

The first time my husband and I went was to see Queen Esther and we absolutely were blown away by how immense and life-like the sets are! The actors are very professional and the animals are very well trained, including the goats! This is a wraparound theatre and you don't know where to look first but you want to see everything at once. Truly inspiring and spiritually uplifting for everyone!

Amazing Show

By Bernie K |

We watch Queen Ester on the grand stage at Sight and Sound Theater in Branson, Missouri. All Sight and Sound musicals are great, but I think Queen Ester may be the best.

Unique and Awe-inspiring

By GoodSource |

We’ve seen several shows and they’ve all been terrific. This particular trip was to see David, which is an incredible production. Sight & Sound is a most unique and awe-inspiring experience, and attending a show there is a breeze with a friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating staff. Sight & Sound is Branson crowned jewel.

Outstanding theatre experience

By eskdunning |

We went to see the performance of David while we were in Branson this summer. This was our first Sight & Sound production, and we could not have been more impressed. The production quality was top notch - from the acting, singing, and staging, to the live animals and lighting. We were in the back row of the balcony and concluded we had the best seats in the house, but there is no bad seat in the house. Very impressive.

Don't know if I would go again

By Cynthia B |

Have been to Branson numerous times, had never been to this place. the production was wonderful. I don't know that I would go again. A bit pricey. Something I thought was strange, they sell refreshments, but no cup holders in the theatre.

Always a great performance

By mrsHogue |

As always sight and sound is absolutely amazing. We enjoy coming to Branson to Sight and Sound and the roasted almonds. Our only complaint we have each time is the seats which are uncomfortable and no elbow space.

David will not disappoint! Go see this production!!

By Glaciergirl |

I wanted to see David so I grabbed a ticket and went to Branson for a few days. I've seen most all of the shows at Sight and Sound, and I think this one is my favorite so far. The special effects were so cool. It is action-packed all the way through. I pray that souls are saved at each of these shows because of their message of the Gospel.

Do not miss this show!

By 2001CarolinaGirl |

This show is incredible! I have seen many Broadway shows and I will put any Sight and Sound Production up against any of those. The talent level of the performers is unmatched. The costumes are beautiful! The sets are phenomenal! Do not miss this show or any show produced by the Sight and Sound Theater!

A “must see” when in Branson!

By Darlene Y |

We saw David, and the show was amazing! Whether you are familiar or not with King David from the Bible, this show is something you’ll be telling all your friends about. From the stage sets, music, songs, dancing, trained animals, costumes, or just the story itself, you’ll be amazed at every moment!

Must visit in Branson

By Michael M |

We saw Queen Esther, it was fantastic. The volume for me was a little loud. All the different layouts and animals, kept your attention.

A must see!! Go see Queen Esther!!

By jamespP6247CE |

Saw Queen Esther and it was amazing!! A must see!! Beautiful costumes and sets!! The actors were fantastic and great singers, as well.

Don't miss this show - Queen Esther

By RoseofTexas |

Queen Esther was a fabulous show. We sat right on the center aisle, where a lot of the action happens (the King and Queen walked right by us, horses too). The rest of the experience (traffic, parking, staff inside guiding to seats) is so well organized. Planning to return to see David next spring.

Best Stage Show I've ever seen.

By Packratdc3 |

Went to see 'David'. The best stage presentation I have EVER seen! The music was great. The casting was great. The acting was great. The animals were great. The theater and special effects were great. How many times do you want me to say GREAT!? You MUST GO!!

Wonderful!

By Jaime F |

It’s amazing! More than I could have expected. It’s not just a show it’s an experience for sure. The Bible coming to life. My only issue is I felt the sound was off a bit as when they sang it was difficult to understand the lyrics as I just caught words here and there but when they were talking it was fine. Also my recommendation would be to sit in lower part of balcony as the floor is not sloped so if you sit behind someone tall you are also straining to see around them but fortunately they story moves so much around the stage you can see something.

MUST SEE!!!!!!!!!! The best show ever

By SHouse2017 |

The most amazing experience. You feel like you are that time period watching it unfold around you. The acting was superior and the stage props are out of this world. They bring the bible to life!!!!!!! Be ready for a moving experience. This is a must go in Branson. Planning our next trip for next year already.

QUEEN ESTER

By Julia H |

This was the most amazing show I have ever seen!!! The stage sets were unbelievable! The costumes, music, actors, animals but especially the massive moving sets were just phenomenal! We’re waiting for the next biblical story to come to Sight & Sound Theater so we can return to Branson!!

Unforgettable

By Carlos O |

Excellent in every way, I even think that it is too cheap for the quality of the production. Get good seats and you’ll have an unforgettable experience.

Beautifully done

By Cheryl F |

This was a beautiful show. Costumes, set, performers...all so good.
We sat up and away from the stage (row KK) and had a wonderful view of everything.

Awesome and Moving

By Sam D |

This show does an awesome job of getting you into the Christmas spirit! It’s beautifully done. Really enjoyed it! Highly recommend it.

Great show!

By Ernie P |

We love the Sight and Sound theater in Branson and have seen several of their shows. We just saw Esther and it was the most amazing show! Probably my favorite so far! Can not wait til David comes out!

Highlight of our trip

By flippofamily |

Visited Branson for the first time and this play was a highlight of our trip. Beautiful, life like set that told the story of Queen Esther. Excellent acting, beautiful singing, made the story come to life. Don’t miss this well done production. As good as any Broadway show I’ve been to.

Wonderful !!!

By Debra C |

We loved the Queen Esther production so much! Beautifully acted and so moving! This was my 3rd Sight and Sound play and my favorite! The live animals in the production are so enjoyable. The music is so lovely. All around a fantastic production and so entertaining!

Bible on Broadway!

By Joanna B. |

Absolutely PHENOMENAL experience. We saw Queen Esther over Memorial Day Weekend and I’m so glad that we were able to experience this. We’ve been to plenty broadway shows and this is right up there with the best. The set, costumes, music and performances were beyond amazing. I love that a kids tickets is less than an adult ticket and that there’s a family space for parents who’s little ones may get restless during the show. If you’re in Branson, this show is a must see! Currently running through October 2024!

Great musical theater experience!

By TexasMomTW |

We made our reservations in advance via the sight-sound.com website, because our favorite seats are in section 201, aisle seats 28 and 29, in rows FF to JJ. This time we saw the stage production of DAVID, with beautiful singing, amazing special effects, huge sets and live animals. I wish that I had read Bible chapters 1 and 2 Samuel, and the Book of Psalms, to refresh my memory prior to the show.
In the Sight and Sound Theatre, there is a drinking fountain on the main floor by the elevator, but we were told that the concession stands also provided free cups of water on request.
Highly recommended.

Queen Esther! The show runs until Oct. 5, 2024.

By Mark C |

The staging, music, and acting equal or easily exceed any Broadway production I have seen. The set is massive stretching 180 degrees. There are live animals moving across the stage and up/down isles. This is a fantastic telling of a heroic woman’s faith and action to save hundreds of thousands of lives.

Wonderful, again.

By ClickerM |

Saw Queen Esther a second time. We brought my mother-in-law to Branson for a short getaway, just a few weeks after her husband of 63 years passed. It was a much needed vacation for her. The first place we bought tickets for, was for Queen Esther. We are Christians, and just loved this show. My wife and I have attended several shows through the years, but this was her mom's first. She just couldn't get over the size of it all, the sets...just everything. Thanks, S&S, you did not let us down...and your staff was so very helpful with my mother-in-law because we escorted her in using her wheelchair. She can walk with a walker, but the distance from car to seats was too long. Staff helped up to our seats and secured and labeled our wheelchair so we would not have any issue getting it back. I don't recall the lady that helped us, brown hair and we were in section 101 Row U if that helps you find her. She was so kind.

Awful, Boring!

By Safari47009896732 |

Went with a tour group. Except for the animals, this is just awful. I was falling asleep and had to sit in the lobby for the second half, couldn't take any more boredom. The story is hard to follow, the dialog unoriginal ("Lord, oh Lord, let's pray to the Lord..." ad infinitum.) Most of my tour group liked this, so I was an outlier. I recommend staying home and sleeping or reading a good book instead.

For A Time Such As This

By Janet W |

This show is incredible. The stage surrounds three walls. Amazing staging, sound, costumes, live animals. Beautiful powerful Bible story of Esther. Enjoyable for all ages. Inspirational! Must see.

Best show ever!!

Queen Esther performance was the best show I’ve ever seen!! The acting, singing, dancing, and sets were all absolutely incredible!!!! I highly recommend this show, even if you’re not a believer!

Best Theatre Production You’ll Ever See!

By Elliot |

As someone who has a degree in theatre, I can tell you that you will not find another production like this. Queen Esther is absolutely breathtakingly incredible. For the production quality, tickets are a steal! Do yourself a favor and see an incredible performance with this theatre company!

Felt the spirit of ,God

By Edward K |

Never have been disappointed with any of productions at the theater, and Queen Esther, was a outstanding production. No one can leave that show without feeling the hand of ,God, on your spirit. Both my wife and I felt the message from this inspirational production, have attended the production of Sampson, Jesus, and Noah. Never left any of those production, without feeling the spirit of the message. Recommend all who have not seen ,Queen Esther, that they do so, last season of showing this biblical story with its inspirational message

Wonderful!

By Connector290142 |

Wonderful Show, really spectacular and amazing. The stage is more than panoramic and spread about 90 degrees. Hundreds plus actors playing with articulate sync.
The sound and light are really the highlights.

You need a swivel chair to see it all.

By JoeOB |

Went and saw “Miracle of Christmas” it was great. You need to have a swivel chair to see everything going on during this play. Lighting, sound, and special effects are excellent. They utilize both a main stage and side stages simultaneously. Folks usually try to get front and front middle seats, I would suggest you but seat tickets further back which would make it easier for your to watch both the main and side stages at the same time. In addition, this would place you in a better spot to see the horses as they are rode in from the back of the theater as well as seeing the angels as they fly in from the ceiling.

Scripture Came to Life in the Most Powerful Way-An Unforgettable Performance for All Ages

By A M W |

Our family was absolutely delighted by our visit to the Sight & Sound Museum. The performance was powerful and moving—it truly brought the heart of Scripture to life in a way that deeply resonated with all of us. The cast was phenomenal; their talent and passion far exceeded our expectations.

We especially loved how the animals were incorporated into the show—it added such a unique and memorable element. The staging was stunning, and the entire production felt even more impressive than a Broadway performance.

We only wish we lived closer so we could attend more shows in person. The experience was so impactful, we’re already exploring your app and looking into past performances.

I was moved to tears by the ending. The prayer over the audience and the invitation to pray together made it feel all the more personal and meaningful. It was truly mesmerizing to see the story unfold before us, and it’s stayed with me—I’ve found myself reflecting on that passage for days.

It was such a joy to experience this with my 8-year-old, 4-year-old, my husband, and my parents. We all agreed: it was the best show we've ever seen. Even our young kids were captivated the entire time—which speaks volumes about the beauty and excellence of the production.

We also appreciated the thoughtful concessions—great options at reasonable prices—and loved how the gift shop offered items that connected directly to the show.

Friends had recommended this experience to us, and I’m so thankful we decided to go. It left a lasting impression on each of our hearts.

Great, but there’s one more thing….

By Richard W |

Great production as usual. Miracle of Christmas. Intermission is when you learn there aren’t enough restrooms for men and women. Long lines.

David

By swymer1980 |

We got to see the life of David! It was amazing and no detail was too small to
Leave out. Great performance by all! All ages can go

First-Rate Show

By Jerome M |

This was my second time attending a show here at the theatre. The show was about David and it was great. There are no bad seats in the place; there is a good view everywhere. There are concession stands outside of the theatre. The production contained a lot of technical things. The surround screen was great. You must look from side to side to ensure you see everything. Highly recommend.

Esther

By 443Tesla |

Every show we have been to at this theatre has been wonderful and follows scripture. It is amazing how well the animals are trained. The entire set for every show has been so well done it. It is a definite stop for a great experience!

Highly recommend!

By jonib5921 |

The production was absolutely amazing! The set, the costumes, the very talented staff— all were beyond fantastic. If you’re in Branson, this is definitely a show to see!

Extraordinary theatre experience!

By Leroy P |

Truly incredible theater experience. We love theatre and have been to many productions including Broadway shows, and nothing can compare. The set, talent and overall production are simply breathtaking. This is a Christian theater that shares Biblical stories, so if that will not set well with you, don’t go. But otherwise, I would highly recommend to anyone.

MUST SEE

By B H |

We went to see David and the show and production were out of this world, the production rivals any plays on Broadway and the 270-degree stage was fantastic. A MUST SEE WHILE IN BRANSON

Best production I've ever seen! And I've seen a lot!

By T1094YGdavidj |

This was the highlight of our trip to Branson! We saw the production of "David" and it was outstanding! It was better than any production we've seen anywhere else, including Broadway and West End, London. The stage is huge and wraps around both sides with usable set. The use of live animals was a unique touch. I still can't figure out how they got those animals, especially the sheep, to move on cue. But the best thing about this production for us was the sound system they use. We both have hearing problems but could clearly hear every word of dialogue and song. The sound is crystal clear whether the actor speaking is facing forward or back. The story is so well done and we were totally immersed in the story. The live scene is paired with computer generated or AI scenes that blend seamlessly and you feel like you're looking at one stage set. The performers were outstanding in every way. The choreography and movement on stage was amazing. You have to see this production to believe everything you're seeing and hearing. I've never experienced any theater production like this. I can't recommend it enough.

You don’t have to be a Believer to enjoy this show

By Elizabeth A |

Prepare to be blown away. There’s something for everyone in this show. There are animals, music, gorgeous costumes and colors and a really cool experience for the audience. My seventeen year old son was impressed and that’s really hard to do. My favorite part was the special effect where it reminded me of the Millennium Falcon going into hyperdrive. If you see it, you’ll know what I mean. Well worth the ticket price. David is my favorite show that I’ve seen so far.

Absolutely amazing!! Must see!!

By kfmonroe8 |

Absolutely amazing experience!! Loved the whole show!!! Such kind, caring and helpful staff!! Snacks/drinks best prices in Branson!! The characters/animals in aisles added so much to the show!

Sight and Sound is a ministry that brings scripture stories to life in the most delightful, amazing and beautiful way!
The stage extends on both sides so it's an extra special feeling!
I don't think there's a bad seat in the house.
Animals are part of the plays and it's great fun to see them in the aisles during scenes.

Amazing performance

Amazing performances. If you haven’t seen their show, you’re in for a real treat! I make a point to see every new show season

Great experience except for Karen

By Robert |

A Karen tried to take my seat. When the usher corrected her. She was rude and never apologized for her dishonesty.
Trash.

Good show

By Sharon H |

Miracle of Christmas was a good theatrical show. Enjoyed it with our granddaughters ages 7 and 10 who were surprisingly able to sit through the whole show.

Phenomenal! Go see a show here!

By ponyexpresstown |

Honestly, I'm just one more 5 Star review, because this is an absolute 5 Star show!! This was my husband's and my first time seeing a performance here, but it won't be our last. The set is just amazing, and goes in a U shape. We sat probably 10 rows back, Center Stage, but I might sit in the balcony next time just so I could see the sides of the stage a little better. Phenomenal! Go see a show here!!

Always a spectacular experience

By Samantha P |

I’ve been to Sight & Sound in Branson for about 8 total productions now and each and every time it is a spectacular experience. The staff are always helpful and kind. The building and grounds are always clean. The shows are incredibly well done from the speaking parts, to singing, to set and costume design - it’s all incredible to experience in person. I always look forward to the next show. Now that I have seen Queen Esther I will be watching for a date I can come take in the next show!

FABULOUS

We saw David....another awesome presentation...there is nothing like this in America except for their second unit in Lancaster PA...DO NOT MISS THIS IF YOU ARE IN BRANSON!!!!

Sight and Sounds Theaters Always Deliver

By baldprincipal |

We have seen numerous productions at Sight and Sound Theatre, both in Branson, MO and in Lancaster, PA. Every time, we come away thinking, that's the best on yet, only to say the same thing at the next outstanding production. This year's production of Queen Esther was outstanding. The costuming, the realism, the animals, and just the massive size of the production is stupendous. Don't come to Branson or Lancaster without making Sight & Sound Theaters one of your activities. You won't be disappointed.

Amazing Show

We saw the David show yesterday, the show was amazing and our three year old daughter loved it. She sat through the whole show and was amazed by the live animals and the action. We recommend getting there an hour early for the traffic getting there. Leaving was not an issue.

Sight & Sound Theater- “David”

By Gene E |

We visited Sight and Sound Theater to see the performance of “David.” A visit to Branson is not complete without a show at the Sight and Sound Theater. “David” was a top notch production with all the visuals, music, and actor performances that are a hallmark of Sight & Sound productions.

Reason for a trip to Branson

We were excited to share sight and sound with our adult daughter. Once again it did not disappoint. The Miracle of Jesus was phenomenal and makes the whole trip to Branson worth it.

A good family activity

This was our first time at Sight and sound theater. We attended the Queen Esther production. It was awesome. Can’t wait to come back for future shows!

Queen Esther was SPECTACULAR!!!

By Linda L |

Saw Queen Esther at this absolutely AWESOME theatre! Be sure you are EARLY or ON TIME for the performance because the theatre doors will CLOSE because of the "animal actor cast" and you may have to wait until the doors can be reopened for a late admittance.

Broadway meets Branson

Third year in a row. Awesome performance as expected. Service impeccable and concession stand pricing family friendly. Love this place

See David, you won't be disappointed

By Jason W |

David was spectacular. Very awesome sets, acting and singing. A few things were a bit corny but for a stage production, they probably could not do much better. Worth going for the price.

Sight and Sound Sensational!

By Don N |

Amazing. Breath-taking. "Esther" was an absolute hit, as are all Sight and Sound productions. Our group of some 40 enjoyed it greatly during our four-day stay in Branson. This definitely was the "cherry on the top." We'll be back!

Picking up tickets is a timeshare scam

By sara t |

The show was good. The set was amazing. However, we got numerous emails and texts telling us we HAD to pick up our tickets 4 hours before the show started. We stayed almost an hour outside of Branson so picking the tickets up before the day of the show wasn't convenient. My husband and I left our family (celebrating our parents' 85 birthdays) at 9 am (for the 3:30 show) to pick up the tickets only to find that the only reason they didn't send them by text or email was that they tried to get us to sit through a timeshare sales pitch!!! We declined. Fifteen minutes after we left with our printed tickets we got them by email and text. So they COULD send them electronically but WOULDN'T. I felt manipulated. It was dishonest. I missed precious family time for this. It negatively impacted my experience at the show itself.

The best in theater experience

By Cindy S |

There is no greater theater experience. Amazing actors, scenery, three stages, great hearing, live animals (I don't know how they train them to do what they do.) We love this place and make sure we get tickets every time we go to Branson or Lancaster,PA

Great show sit up top

By janetp17 |

Great show queen Esther don’t miss it. Only advice. I can give you to sit up in the upper level this way you’re not turning your head to see the movement of the side pieces of the background.

Epic Show a must see. Please get here before it closes Oct 5th 2024!

An absolutely amazing experience from beginning to end! I would do this again and again and again.
Clean. Friendly staff. Great show!

Worth the money and highly recommended for families!

By Judy J |

Saw the presentation of "David"! Took our kids and grandkids ages 14, 10 and 5 - they were enthralled! Even the 5 year enjoyed until the end. The play is over two hours long so snacks were a must for the kids. We sat in balcony section near the top and the seats were fantastic. The side stages and all the action down the aisles were easily seen without having to turn our heads! Even the 5 year old could see very well from sitting position!

Staging, lighting, costumes, actors, music and singing were all fabulous! The better known stories of David were presented as well as some lesser known stories of his life (and Saul's) were also presented. Really liked that the end pointed to Jesus - our good shepherd.

Highly recommend for families! Definitely worth the money!

David is a timeless Bible story

By Andrew T |

We went to see David. What an outstanding production! The performance was very well choreographed. The scenery and backdrops were amazing. Very immersive experience.

Good show

By Mobile50287103572 |

Good show and costumes,
Enjoyed the live animals,
About 30 minutes too long,
Concessions are too pricy to buy for family with children.
Long program for children.

PREPARE TO BE AMAZED!

By N N |

The story of DAVID was incredibly magnificent! The special effects were beyond amazing! Loved every minute of it!!!!!

Great performance with wonderful singing, beautiful costumes and amazing scenes

By Karen M |

We saw Queen Esther. It was an amazing experience! Horses walking right next to me in the aisle. The scenery was so believable and it was amazing how they had everything moving and changing the entire show! The costumes were stunning and the singing was great! I can’t imagine any show performed here not being amazing. I highly recommend this for anyone no matter what they are performing!

The Miracle of Christmas

By paulsykes2020 |

Their Christmas show was excellent; I highly recommend going if you are in the area. I suggest seating in the back balcony area so you can get a better overall view of the performance.

Magical, memorable, amazing!

By William P |

Absolutely unbelievable! From the costumes, props, and set to the talent, sound, and special effects, THIS WAS, BY FAR, THE BEST SHOW I’VE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE! 😳 I don’t have the words to describe how great this really was… A MUST SEE!!!

This place is amazing. I would go back to Branson just to see a show there. I have been telling everyone about it. It made my trip.
