This place has their act together! Saw "Noah" here as well as David and Daniel a couple years back and this place does not disappoint. It's so cool to have an experience of the stage wrapping around the audience and having live animals in the place, etc. And the music and acting are, honestly, top notch. I know-- you'd think a "Christian musical" would be lame-- but this place, like I said, has its act together and presents Broadway-quality shows. It's a real gem!

The staff at sight n sound theaters had the enormous crowd so well directed the lines just about zoomed by. It was amazing and kept people from feeling overwhelmed with the waiting in lines. The actors have so much talent and the whole play was super professional. Best night out with family for sure! Thank-you Sight n Sound!

Sight and Sound productions never disappoint. We have made it a tradition to see a production every year. And Noah was fantastic. There is ample free parking. I suggest getting there at least 45 minutes before the show begins. You’ll find a good parking spot, actually they have people that flag you into the parking space. And that’ll give you enough time to take some pictures outside where they have a nice water fountain area for a good photo.
You do go through metal detectors and there is security that would search purses if necessary. Inside there are many gift shops and concession areas as well as restrooms and a front desk where you could ask questions. They do have elevators as well. Everyone that works there is so friendly and helpful.
During the production they have armed security that walks up and down the back portion of the theater and that’s where we usually sit. They may have armed security in other areas as well. The show is on a 360° stage and for the show of Noah for the most part, the show is just presented on the front stage. It was towards the end where the other curtains rolled up and you saw the 360 degree stage. It was the first production that we saw that did not use all of the stage, only the front stage was used for 90% of the time. Other productions typically use the entire stage. The music and the singing is wonderful. The actors were also fantastic. And the star of the show was Jesus appearing at the end as well as all of the animals interacting on stage and through the aisles of the theater.
Leaving the theater you can get very crowded trying to walk out of the theater as well as get to your car and leave the parking lot. So expect to be waiting in traffic for a while.
Can’t wait to do it all again next year for the next production!

Best place to go. You will be captivated by the story and live animals used .
Well worth a visit to.
Be sure to include this in your trip you won't regret it.

Sight and Sound Theater has expanded there services. They have now released their first ever movie, I Heard the Bells was released in December to limited movie theaters. My husband and I saw the movie at a Regal Theater near us. The movie was based on the life and experiences of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. The production was based on facts and the film started with a Christmas scene. This film was so well done, the scenery, actors and script were wonderful. The limited release was expanded so we purchased tickets for other family members as part of their Christmas gift. Everyone throughly enjoyed the show. One of the few movies you didn’t have to worry about language or nudity or violence. Great for all family members.

More than Excellent “David”!
I have previously seen “David”via the Sight and Sound TV Season Pass! I desired the full Live Experience! Live was the Best and even more Wonderful!

'Daniel' is a spectacle you must see! The sets, musical score, use of technology and gifted actors all meld together to make an unforgettable and moving experience.

The theater and landscaping are first class. Easy parking. 2000 seat theater is custom made for these Biblical Stories. We saw "Daniel" - musical. It was true to the Bible. Very entertaining and educational. Acoustics are wonderful. Live animals and performers traverse the aisles to stage and back. Lovely! Worth the price of the ticket.

David is another amazing show from S&S. The production is inspiring and the quality of the production exceeds Broadway or West End shows. Inspirational!

The show, Queen Esther, was very professional. The stage, scenery, lighting effects, acting, and singing is very good. The staff is very accommodating.

On Tuesday, my husband and I went to see Noah. We had excellent seats and could see everything. There were times when tears fell from my eyes during the scenes of wickedness and when the ark door was closed. It is so similar to what is happening in today's world and when the people realized that Noah was telling the truth about the rain. Yet the next moment I laugh with all the animals being loaded on the ark. I did not want the play to end.

I’ve been several times and each time never disappoints. The performances don’t miss a detail. I appreciate the cast diversity. Wheelchair audience who wish to remain in chairs have one area to park but there is this awkward bar. The staff shared that’s so the wheelchair won’t roll. Perhaps a floor stopper would be esthetically a better solution. I went with my mom but there isn’t a family option for adults

This show was absolutely amazing. The theatre was beautiful and the story and cast were incredible. This is a must see when in Branson, Mo.

I've seen several plays here, and they just keep getting better. "DAVID" contained a high level of technology that enhanced the performance beyond my expectations. I think the actors were more talented than I've ever seen here in Lancaster. What a tremendous job directing and performing. It's hard to imagine the countless hours that went in to finalizing this production. Well done!

The very best of musical productions in the Lancaster area! The stage, actors, animals, music and atmosphere are impeccable.

Beautiful theater and a wonderful performance of Noah! The music was outstanding and the storyline followed biblical scripture for the most part but had some interesting literary elements to give it additional context. Set changes were done smoothly and beautifully with different perspectives of the ark. There was also a great blend of live animals, people in animal costumes and mechanical ones to give the audience perspective.
We would highly recommend it!

This is my second time visiting The Sight and Sound Theater. On this visit I saw the production of “David”. The whole performance was amazing! The set was beautiful and the actors are so talented! I also love the message the shows at Sight and Sound provides. Everyone should experience at least one show there in their lifetime.

Hard to find the words.....beyond extraordinary.....beautiful grounds, gorgeous building, all staff members were friendly, helpful and sincerely kind...the show (Moses) showcased extraordinary talent, fantastic scenery and cinematography...it's everything that every review has ever written....a MUST SEE for all.....the message of God's love and salvation through Jesus Christ is abundant throughout the story....opportunities to pray with counselors is a bonus......

Amazing show. Closely followed the Bible. Love the live animals. Appreciated that they offered a person to pray with you at the end if you need to talk with someone.

This was my first time here and I was blown away. We were here for the production of Moses and it was excellent and very professional. The use of the entire auditorium was very creative. I will definitely be back!

Beyond the shadow of a doubt, one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life. It was my family's third production and it seems that each outdoes the others. There is NOTHING less than the highest quality in the production, the facility, the friendliness of the employees, and the overall experience. One has to feel God's presence during the stories played out. AMAZING and worth your time, energy, and money.

Absolutely Amazing! The parking and check in process run like a well oiled machine! We arrived early and picked up our tickets from the will call desk. The clerk was polite and pointed me in the direction that I needed to go to find my seat. We sat in the balcony and our seats were great!
The production was absolutely amazing! The scenery, the live animals, the actors, the music and the story were awesome! Will definitely be back!

The play was beautiful. The theater was beautiful. They had fresh cinammon roasted almonds. My family enjoyed our visit.

An Amazing experience from the theater itself through the show. Traffic leaving the venue is trying, but with a large viewing audience that happens. The shows are biblically based; e.g. "Daniel" , "David", etc. Definitely Christian based themself acted an augmented superbly, in fact not enough superlatives. Recommend Sight and Sound to everyone

As a seasoned theatre critic and having attended more than 40 Broadway theatrical productions, I was hesitant about the quality of the production of "Daniel" especially with the cost of the tickets. I can honestly say that this rivals any of the Broadway (or traveling Broadway) productions I have experienced. There's a term in theatre called "spectacle" which is the use of visual or audial elements to convey a story or idea. Such elements can include scenes, costumes, settings and music that help paint a vivid picture of the story and its environment. The production of "Daniel" had exceptional costuming, set design, music and usage of multimedia screening that enhanced the audience's experience. The show was amazing and certainly at a high tier of professionalism. While some may blink at the price of a ticket, you pay for quality and that's what makes this production worth every penny. I know I have already shared my experience with others. Sight & Sound is the best kept secret theatre in our region! (From Virginia)

Absolutely without a doubt fantastic. I have been here several times. My wife and I four times then as a tour bus driver with groups a dozen times. Great experience and performance each time. Staff and actors great.

Unique presentation of Bible stories and characters, historical based and creativity at its best. Live animals are trained and fun to watch on stage too.

It was an amazing experience that will stay with us the rest of our lives. A must-see with live animals in the production.

We purchased group tickets for the show months ago. My daughter got injured recently and broke her foot. I called & spoke to Hanna and was not accomodating & compassionate as to change my daughter's seat. I know the show gets fully booked .but for a christian venue not very accomodating to a person who's disabled.

This is my 3rd visit to Sight and Sound and all I can say is Wow! This performance of David was excellent and I think this was the best one I saw. I am looking forward to going next year to see Moses. I am sure it will be just as wonderful as David was.

The live, moving sets and interactive audience experience, the talent of the actors and singers, the costumes and lighting, and the place itself are all extraordinary. This is a must-go and once you go you will want to return every year. Seats are comfortable, theatre is beautiful, bathrooms are large and nice, and the entire building and grounds are stunning. Also, get the almonds!!!

We have been to sight and sound Theatres three times. The shows are always impeccably produced. The talent is always fantastic.

Traveled from Florida for other visits and decided to see "David"! This theater can DEFINITELY give Disney a serious run for the money. They have always excelled in their depiction of Biblical stories and pretty much stay to authenticity. The animatronic of Goliath was outstanding!!! And they built three for the purpose of the show. Scenes, choreography, singing, acting - ALL well done. The training and inclusion of animals give a definite air of realism. Very engaging presentation. Well worth the admission and then some! All seats are very well arranged so I wouldn't think there would be a bad seat in the house - though I wouldn't sit in the first few rows if only to get a better perspective of all the action around.

The production of Ester was wonderful. We have been to many productions, but never have we seen one to match this. We will definitely be returning for future productions.

Worth going just to experience theater production at an amazingly high level. The theater is committed to producing plays based on familiar Bible Stories which is done spectacularly. Not to be missed.

Cool show! Very nice theater. Staff was very professional. Security was present and diligent. No photos allowed.

DO NOT COME HERE. The staff was very mean and did not care about their customers at all. We went with two small children, and for a short while they sat right in front of us. They were taking up no more space than the wheelchair beside me, but a staff member came by and insisted that we keep them on our lap. Their FAQ says, "Children under the age of 3 may sit on a parent’s lap and do not require a ticket." They say "may" not "are required to".
A few minutes later, another staff member came in and told us to go to they famiy room. Our children were not making any loud noise, and I talked to others sitting beside and behind me and they were NOT disturbed by our children. The FAQ says, "Should your child become restless or need a break, we do offer a Family Room at both the Lancaster and Branson theaters, where you can watch a live video feed of the show." Which again, says "offer" not "are required to move to".
Since our children were being very well behaved, there was no need for their staff to be so inconsiderate to not allow us to finish watching the show. We will never ever go back, and I will continue to write reviews to let others know to STAY AWAY!

We were just there to see "Moses" and it was spectacular. We've seen many Broadway shows in NYC. The quality of the performances at S&S are as good or better then anything we've seen on the Great White Way. The sound, the singing and the acting are excellent. The sets and the technical aspects are almost unbelievable. You don't have to know anything about the Story of Moses to enjoy this theatrical experience. If you do know the story it will bring a fresh understanding to the deep spiritual meaning of the text. If this show was on Broadway I couldn't afford to go. It is a great value. The theater is very comfortable. The staff is helpful and pleasant. We drove about 11 hrs to get to the theater and we will do it again next year. What a lovely, uplifting experience.

The best show ever MOSES is like being transported to the bible era. Every time I go, I enjoy it so much, and being able to see live the bible coming to life is just wonderful, their roasted almonds are the best, customer service and personnel are super. 5 star all the time

Awesome. Outstanding. Inspiring. Not enough words to describe this experience. The beautiful telling of the Christmas story. Parts will bring tears to your eyes. Best seats would be center balcony to get the best overall view.

First time here. The show David was very well done. Shows change at times. Hope to come back to see other shows.

Show was fantástic. But for a 3hr show you better bring confortable clothes and a seat pad. Seats are too narrow and padding too thin. Else your bottom will fall asleep.

WINNER! Do this if you're in Lancaster County and like theater or you're an active Christian. The productions are amazing. Music, actors, costumes, story, are all on par with Broadway and the sets and stage are even better than Broadway. The immersive surround stage is spectacular.
The plays are all bible stories but even known christians would enjoy these productions if based solely on the quality of the entertainment.

The facility was very nice and Daniel was a great show. The performers were excellent and the live animals were amazing. We will be back next year for Noah!

I have gone to every Sight and Sound Theater production in Branson during the past 10 years or so. The PRODUCTION of this show was as fantastic as ever. The Storyline/Plot was really bad/weak. David was whiny, the entire show was "war after war", and then he really scrapes the bottom of his life. Left us feeling let down and wanting a real story. If this was the only SS production I had ever been to, I probably wouldn't go back.

Sight & Sound Theater in Lancaster, Pennsylvania is a great place to experience The Bible, God’s inerrant love story to us come alive through fantastic theatrical performances. The theater is lovely and had great acoustics. It as a spectacular place to take the family, even young grandchildren. They will be entranced by all that is going on including great music, quality performers and even live animals. It’s also a great place to take a group. Lots of places very close by for meals to make your day/evening complete and if you want to stay overnight, there is plenty to do in the Lancaster area. Anywhere from Amish farms to amusement parks and outlet shopping.
I

We saw “David” 3/12/22 - it was mind blowing! I really believe this production was just as good as or better than a Broadway show. The sets, costuming, music, live animals, special effects and the voices!
Loved every bit of the show and so happy I was invited to the opening gala. So special.

We had always heard how wonderful the plays were at Sight & Sound and finally got to experience it first hand! It was absolutely fantastic! Everything from parking, to entering building, to being seated. .. . the entire experience was exceptional. The staff so very cordial, polite, and friendly. We saw Moses and the production was touching and very professional. We would love to return again to see more productions. We highly recommend Sight and Sound Theatres.

Their elaborate productions are second to none. Adequate parking, great staff and of course the production itself. Can't say enough good about it. If you've never been here, treat yourself to a show here. You will be moved.

We went to watch Queen Esther last month and it was awesome. Me and my wife enjoyed every minute of it without a wink. We couldn’t wait to watch David this month and it was a great show. We both loved watching the well trained animals on the stage. The only concern is the crowed. It is ok to be crowed if they are watching the show quietly . We had great tickets ,but people in our raw was too talkative and using their phones all the time. Two people in the front raw were using an app or something that I thought they’re translating which was annoyed at entire show. I hope the management will take “ no phone” seriously next time.

We had watched the recording of the movie for Moses a few time before as we live 8 hours away. The show not redone with a few changes is absolutely incredible. If you come to Lancaster or are close by be sure to check out what ever show they are playing.

We have seen many shows at Sight and Sound... Have yet to have a bad experience... The cast and crew really know how to make it special for their guests... I highly recommend Sight and Sound

Another great performance! Never disappoints! Looking forward to seeing Noah next year. Staff is always helpful and well organized.

This was a wonderful production for all ages. It was the like the classic movie Ten Commandments come to life. There were very impressive aspects of how they created the sets! Well worth the price. We look forward to seeing more productions here.

I came to Bird in hand with my mom and grandma on Sunday and stayed 3 days. Last night we saw Noah, it was SO amazing how well trained all animals were! The stage is also huge!

Excellent place, the hotel is a little expensive if you are looking for something close to the theater. Otherwise super enjoyable.

We met our family members some who took a church charter bus to the theater. It is a very large place holding around 2000 people. The Noah show was amazing with live animals and singing and dancing just like a broadway show! The total time was about 2 1/2 hours with a break around 1 1/2 hours. That was the only thing that surprised me was the bathroom wasn’t that big for all the people in the theater. Regardless, I would highly recommend especially for kids would enjoy it and very inspirational!

I have been to 4 of their plays and they all are spectacular! My 6 year old was able to sit through 2 1/2 hours at 7 at night and loved it. Try and get an aisle seat so you can see the animals running down the aisle at times.

Like all the other plays done here, we were not disappointed 'Daniel' was excellent! We plan to return next year to see Noah.

If you are a larger family it's going to be expensive. Saw "David" which was ok but not my favorite production.

Just saw Noah today. When it was over, we all agreed we wanted to come back. Unfortunately, it will be my last trip to Sight & Sound. When the play was over, we came out to see a very bad thunderstorm was taking place. People were waiting in the lobby for the storm to subside a bit but they told everyone they had to leave. So, we waited outside in the thunderstorm under their porch area. A very rude and nasty worker came out and said we couldn’t stand outside either. She said to get out in the storm to our vehicles, it didn’t matter if we got wet or not because we would dry off. We felt the situation was unsafe but had no choice but to leave. It would not have hurt Sight & Sound to let their customers take shelter outside until we felt it was safe to run to our car, which was parked a long way from the building. There were elderly people and children out there. Portraying Jesus shouldn’t have stopped when the play ended, but should continue on in the staff and security guards (we also heard a security guard being rude). So after seeing a number of plays there, I won’t be returning to be treated like that again.

Had opportunity to get together for Show of NOAH. What a wonderful show. Actors were very talented. There were live animals and set designs that transform the story of Noah's ark come alive. We had 9 of us. So we got tickets a year in advance. Theater is beautifully crafted. Definitely worth it

I had heard good reviews of this place and the plays, but it wasn't until I got to go and experience it all myself did I realize just how amazing it all was! The production value is second to none. It is so, so good! It is really an immersive experience. The building is so nice and so much bigger than I expected! That staff is wonderful!
While it is very "family friendly," I would not recommend it for young kids or anyone who doesn't do well with a lot of sensory stimulants. It is very loud and can feel like sensory overload (lots of lights, sounds, actions). Also, the plays are quite long (3 hours, including intermission). There is a family room off the side of the auditorium for anyone who needs a little break from the "action."

We have attended many of Sight and Sounds biblical productions over the years and have been impressed by all of them. Noah, The Miracle of Christmas, Moses and Jesus were some of the shows we have seen and loved but after seeing "Daniel" my husband and I both agreed it was one of the best yet! It seems Sight and Sound keeps outdoing themselves. The set design was stunning, and the special effects amazed us. When they say they bring the Bible to life they truly do!

With all the money they spend on this spectacular theater, you would think they would get a better director. The dialogue is very Disneyesque, which makes the Bible truths seem more like a made-up story. The best actor in the David play was the kid who played David as a boy because he was the ONLY actor who delivered his lines in a believable way. Too bad!

Wow! The productions they show here are absolutely out of this world! There's no way to adequately describe the performances, sets, sound, quality, etc.

The show was fabulous!!! Have seen numerous shows and have always left inspired. Hope the Miracle of Christmas production will one say be on dvd.

Heard a lot about this, glad I went with family! Even on the top tier (Row PP) there's not a bad sightline and maybe it's even preferred, as you get a better look and sense of the stage (which will also occupy the two wings on either side at times.) Seats could be more comfortable and a bit wider, as my butt was killing me by the 20 minute intermission. There's a family room (never went in) in case kids get antsy, as well as a snack bar and merchandise shops (at least two) for items related to that specific performance. Would and will come here again. Plenty of parking.

Amazing show - truly incredible. The story, the actors the music, just unbelievable show. the scenery was amazing how they made it. Comfortable seating.

A super show and venue that is surrounded by the love of God. The production of Joseph was spectacular. The actors, animals and special effects were nothing short of awesome. This is a must see!

Simply Fabulous!! We went to see Noah and it was absolutely wonderful. The prices are reasonable and the show was better than anything on Broadway. This is the last season of Noah, and we are so happy we went. We took our 6 year old and she was blown away too - especially with all the animals in the show! If you are going to Lancaster, this is the real highlight!!

Absolutely Amazing 🥰Granddaughter and Nana enjoyed All 😊Thanks to Everyone for Sharing this Day with us ⛪️🕊😊☦️Memories for a Life Time 🙏God’s Blessings to All☦️🌈💖

I make a trip to Lancaster every year to attend the play and I am never disappointed! It is great family entertainment with a Biblical theme and brings the stories to life in an amazing setting. I tell everyone I meet interested in travelling not to miss this attraction!

This is our 7th show at Sight and Sound, and it never disappoints! NOAH is the best show we have seen so far!!! All the shows are good, but this was our favorite! We thought it was going to be hard to be Moses, but they did it. The set was absolutely phenomenal!!! The talent, as always, was fantastic!! Please, please, please, if you have not been to see a show at this beautiful theater, do yourself a favor and go!!! You don't have to be crazy religious to enjoy these stories. You just have to have faith and believe in Jesus and God. You are missing out if you don't experience what these talented people have to offer you. You will not regret it.....and the roasted almonds are amazing!!!!

Six of us friends went to see Noah. It was a fun experience! Be sure to get some toasted almonds in the lobby before the show. Staff were very courteous. The venue, including restrooms, were very clean. The performance was great, especially the live animals!

Took my BFF to see Noah for her birthday, it was a surprise, and she was so happy, now we are planning another visit, and might even take our husbands. It was a wonderful performance. If you are ever thinking of going, what are you waiting for, just do it. Everything from the cast to the scenery on the stage was phenomenal.

We had been gifted tickets back in November for the April showing of Moses.. We had never been there before and definitely wanted to. Fabulous experience. So well done! Such talent, such music, great singing, the animals, the scenery, the effects, how the scenery changes on the main stage and the sides. And the Bible stores come to life! Brought tears to my eyes several times. Just one little negative and that is just because I have a strong aversion to rodents.. There is nothing in the Bible about the Egyptian Moses killed making rat stew! Gross! But that is just me!
Lovely building, you can take food from the concession stands into the theater, definitely try the glazed hot roasted almonds. And check out the gift shop. They will tell you to arrive 45 minutes prior to show time, but you can go earlier to get closer parking.

What an AMAZING experience! This was the first time my husband and I visited this beautiful theater! We bought tickets to the event "Moses"! From beginning to end we were memorized by EVERYTHING! The sets were beautiful, the actors were awesome; you really felt like you were in biblical times. At the end of the show, the actors (and prayer staff) greeted the audience. We spoke with one of the actors (Sam) and a prayer warrior. We told them that it was our first time there and it was our wedding anniversary. Sam asked if she could pray for us. We happily accepted! It was a beautiful prayer.
If you have the opportunity to visit Sight and Sound-- do it! They truly bring the Bible to life, right in front of your eyes!

As usual, Sight and Sound is an amazing theatre. The biblical productions are always fantastic. We had wonderful seats and they were very accommodating and patient with my senior mother in assisting and seating her. We had a group of 24 in our party. I do think there should be a mandatory mask policy. My party wore our masks but the majority of the theatre was maskless. You can never be too sure - better safe than sorry.

Had this on my bucket list; am absolutely grateful I finally saw a performance. Stunning scenery, costumes, actors/actresses actual "live" their parts, live animals on and off the stage, surround sound, etc. One actual feels like a part of the story. Not a religious person nor a bible reader but I learned so very much about the story of Moses. Audience was of all ages, races, creeds--we were all spell bound. Reminded me of Radio City @ Christmas time. I'm told this could be a cult thing; never felt the pressure. What a great way to find out one of the Greatest stories ever told! Price compared to Broadway presentations was very reasonable.

Moses was a fantastic show and when the waves of water started to go almost over our heads- what a thrill! The grandkids attention was held throughout the show and with the live animals and actors running right next to our seats - it was great! What a fantastic show! Go and see it for yourself!

If you haven't been, GO! GO! GO! They have the second largest stage set and props in the entire United States and the show was just as great as it good be!
Strong sings and actors, incredible staging and wardrobes make this a very special experience!
Next time I would choose seats a little further back (we were about the 10th row) because the stage surrounds you on 3 sides.

The theatre is worn and appears to be dirty. Did not feel clean in the theatre or bathrooms. The staff were wonderful The temperature was comfortable. The sound was extremely loud. The performance of Moses was incredible.

Absoultely amazing show! The theatre is beautiful, the staff was friend and extremely helpful and the show was simply amazing! We already bought our tickets for next year!

Have been here several times. Never disappointed. Shows & stage are amazing.
The carpet and seats are starting to show their age.

Worth every penny. Truly "eye candy" for the senses. Even better, the Bible is brought to life. The cast is amazing, their vocals top notch! The script and music are written so well, better than Broadway, and I've seen A LOT. I cried and left the theatre encouraged. You will truly be reminded how much Jesus loves us all so much!! You WILL want to buy everything in the shop. You will love to see all the live animals. Whoa, watch out for Goliath!! Spectacular!!
Jonathan Groff is from the area and even visits at times. You WILL want to go back and watch it again!
Be encouraged!

So impressive and I'm not easily impressed. One doesn't have to be religious to be wowed be the whole thing. We're still wondering how they did some scenes. With an aisle seat I was so glad the horse standing next to me was well trained and empty. If you know what I mean. We heard about the warmed lightly glazed almonds being great and they were. Highly recommended. Definitely no weed smell coming from this parking lot. Magical.

My wife and I had never been to Sight & Sound before. My wife had heard about it but neither of us knew what to expect. The only word that comes to mind is "WOW". We've seen shows on Broadway, but nothing absolutely nothing we have seen previously compares to this. The show we saw was "Daniel". The sets were beyond belief. The music and the singing and acting was fantastic, and even the animals performed extremely well! The whole experience was breathtaking, and I'm quite sure that my wife and I will be attending again at the very least if not regularly. I would give it five stars as a ranking, but the truth is that it's much better than that. Everybody should go see one of the productions of Sight & Sound.

Planned my trip to Lancaster within a week and couldn't even get one ticket! I understand the place is popular but there should set aside a few tickets for travelers. Very disappointing!

Great show, lots of talent on that stage....fabulous sets and costumes. Highly recommend if you enjoy a story with a bit of revenge in the end.

The production is better than even Broadway, truly! Large theater with every seat comfortable and having a good view. Acting and singing wonderful. Christian story made alive!

If you're heading to Sight and Sound prepare yourself to be entertained! We were heading home from New England and wanted something to do on the way and certainly Sight and Sound would be perfect. We picked a performance of David and were not disappointed. We had super seats and would definitely return should our travels take us in that direction. They're no streaming a lot of their performances. Make sure you check them out on line.

This Is the best place for a show. The facility is clean and beautiful. The show was Queen Esther and the actors were amazing and the vocalists fabulous!

What can we say that others haven't? Our first time. Won't be the last!
PRO: Breath-taking, moving, sensational, grandiose!
CON: During the summer, try not to get seats at the very top of the theater. Heat rises and even with the AC on, it gets very warm.
NOTES: Don't get front row seats as there is action on 3 stages on 3 sides of the theater. You'll have to really turn your head to see the action. On the other hand, the live animals may like your hand! LOL!

Attended a performance of David as part of a bus tour. Venue is clean and easily accessible for everyone. Seating is comfortable with plenty of leg room. Sound is good and clear. Music is good. Story is entertaining. Amazing the way they incorporate live animals in the performance. Actors were terrific. Would be entertaining for ages 8 and up. They were several smaller children at the performance who became bored and fussy. They do have a "cry area" available

OMG - Moses was so nice :) The gift shop was so nice - be back again for the Christmas Show with Whomever :)

This was our first visit to the Lancaster theatre - we saw Daniel and it was absolutely stunning sets and production. Well worth the 9 1/2 hour drive.

What an experience. We saw Moses and it was quite a moving experience. The actors and singers bring the Bible to life. Any seat in the house is good.

The Noah show was well performed. Sight and Sound performances never disappoints! It's best to go to the matinee showing. It's easier to park and leave afterwards.

Great show, we have been here several times. It is a wonderful experience. Make sure you go and enjoy the show.

Just saw DAVID --I have never been more enthralled by a theatre experience than I was by this one. The story of David on stage was exciting, awe-inspiring, gut-wrenching, and deeply, deeply moving. The music, the performances, the sets, the incredible special effects, live animals... it's far, far better, and more enlightening than anything you'll see on Broadway. I almost didn't want to leave the theater. I saw Esther twice last year and loved it, but DAVID exceeded that show by far.

Exceptional!! Always enjoy going to Sight and Sound! Exceptional quality! Uplifting! Wonderful! Would definitely recommend!! (I also appreciate how during COVID S & S made the shows available for people at home! That was a blessing as well!) Thank you! Keep uplifting the name of JESUS and spreading the Gospel!

This was my second visit to the Sight and Sound. This place is just absolutely amazing and the actors/actresses do such an amazing job. Love how they bring the bible to life! Already planning on going back next year to see Noah.

I was looking for moses to strike the water and swallow up Pharaoh army's, he didn't dropped the commandments, music was too loud, I was looking for when there crossed over, Pharaoh acting was lay back didn't come over as mean his performance was lay back too soft, was looking for when his staft swallow up the others staft and the blood was on the door and still the death angel went to the houses it was supposed to past over, am not going to write anymore and I know that everything couldn't of been showed but these were key points for me that I was looking for, overall after all of the hype that I was told about this theater I expected better was very disappointed 😞 😢

Better than Broadway! Outstanding in every way glorifying the name of Jesus Christ with stunning effects, talented actors and actresses, and heart stirring music! THIS IS A MUST SEE!

This was our second time here and it was just as good as the first time. Saw the play Moses and the set was amazing as well as the acting. Not a bad seat in house. Though I would recommend aisle seats since live animals and actors frequently come down the aisles.

We had many friends rave about Sight and Sound. We are from NE so we went on our way through for a cross country trip. I was a little worried that it wouldn’t live up to the hype but it did! Fantastic show! We saw David. We laughed, cried (well, I’m not a crier but even I misted!) and cheered! Get the glazed almonds! Yum! And even though it was massively packed, we got out of the parking lot in 5 minutes! This is worth the trip!

I was totally blown away by the accuracy and inspiration of this production! It was always a goal of mine to see a production at Sight and Sound theater and I finally got to and I was way more impressed and thrilled than even I anticipated. I will try to make this an annual trek from now on. The guests behind me were from North Carolina and this was their eighth year seeing a production. It truly was an emotional experience!

I had heard good things about the theatrical productions at Sight and Sound. I was not disappointed. I was surprised to see a state of the art 2000 seat theater in the middle of corn fields.
The quality of the acting, music and productions would rival any regional theater. Well worth the time and money.
I really want to see the Magic of Christmas.

Wow! Everything you expected and more.
We saw Daniel and I just made reservations to see Noah next year. Between the music, the sets, and the message it is something not to be missed.

This was, by far, one of my favorite things we did on our trip to Lancaster. We saw the show "Moses", and everything about this show was outstanding. The special effects were state of the art. The theater is beautiful. The cast and crew were phenomenal as were the costumes, sets, and choreography. I attend a lot of live shows, and this is one of the best I've ever seen! Don't miss it!

My family and I have come over the years to see the productions (Jonah, Jesus, Esther 2x’s, and David) and they have all been absolutely mind blowing! They do a tremendous job at bringing the Bible to life right before your eyes. You feel as if you are right in the middle of all of the action. EVERYTHING is AMAZING!!

Amazing play. This place has such details in set props so much that the animals come alive. It’s really cool to see camels, donkeys, horses, goats, sheep, dogs, birds on stage and walking through the aisles. They do two different plays a year and a holiday play. The plays are biblical.

Queen Esther. Amazing production. Not what I expected, so much more. Multi faceted. Can't believe how much work goes into each show. Very talented cast. Friendly staff. Can't wait for the next show.

Lots of special effects and grand sets can’t cover up a terribly written musical without one good song. Choreography was laughable (especially when they were mocking Mary being pregnant). No live orchestra, prerecorded ensemble singing, and their “conservatory” actors are paying them $10000 a year plus living expenses to perform in the shows (If I am paying $80 a ticket, I expect you to pay your actors, not them to pay you). Seems like a very unChristian practice. I wont be back.

Excellent show! One of the best I’ve ever seen. The whole experience was incredible. They make you feel a part of the show and it has a wonderful message! The venue is fantastic, the staff friendly and welcoming and it was a wonderful experience. Everything is so well done to the highest standard. An excellent production and a memory I will treasure as it was my first visit.

Outstanding performance of the story of David. The theatrics were phenomenal, the cast and actors, superb. What a wonderful experience. A live glimpse into the biblical story of David… the visual experience of giants, villages, countryside, and the way of life during the times of David was mesmerizing. Very enjoyable and the theater is amazing.

Just saw David on New Years Eve 2022. Just to think in my past I wanted to party to bring the new year in. Now that I’m a believer and follower of Jesus Christ I enjoyed the last day of the year celebrating with other Christians. The play’s special effects are award winning. The actors were perfect. The snacks are great. Even the bathrooms are clean. I will continue to support Christian businesses. You should too. Leaving the show my soul desired a more close relationship with the Lord as I reflected on Gods word and Psalms. For 2023 I will support and see Moses and The Miracle of Christmas again.

We saw the show Esther. Great story. The stage is enormous. The singing and sound were excellent (sound could be very loud). The sets were the best I’ve ever ver seen, better than Broadway. Live horses, camels, a donkey and a great cast. We truly valued the experience.

Goung to a Sight & Sounds has been on my bucket list for many years, so my husband suggested we go to celebrate my 60th birthday. Best birthday present ever!!
If I had to sum it up in one word, I think the best adjective to describe the production is "spectacular!!!"
The current show is "David" and is a wonderful portrayal of his life as described in the Bible. The actors are very talented, with an added factor that I only can describe as heartfelt worship...so much so that you can feel it. Beautiful!
The production itself adds new meaning to the term "state of the art." The special effects and scenery are amazing and awe-inspiring, especially during the scenes that include all three stages. As mentioned in other reviews, there are plenty of live animals too!
Now for some other tidbits and details that you might be wondering about!!
Can you smell the animals? No, I'm guessing they must get a bath every day. I didnt see any of them poo either, but my guess is that they have staff ready to clean it up immediately if they do. Can you touch the animals? Definitely not during the show. I have no clue if there are opportunities to meet the animals between shows.
While this show is great for the family, I recommend not bringing babies or toddlers prone to crying or fussing. Parents of disruptive children will be asked to take them out.
In terms of seats, I don't think there are any bad seats. They are a bit tight though.
The restrooms are huge and very clean. There's a gift shop area off to the side. I loved a snow globe there of David but at $52, I put it back and chose a keepsake magnet instead.
Parking is plentiful and guided by well organized staff.. i don't know if there is an option to drop off your group by the door.
Refreshments are available in the lobby, with warm glazed almonds being their signature treat. We didnt buy any but they smelled wonderful!
Our tickets were $69 each...well worth it!

Great experience and very immersive! The show was amazing!. They had technical difficulties at the beginning of the show, but played a video describing the history of sites and sound, which was interesting. Grab some almonds if you go!

This is a one of a kind production!! I've been to film festivals, Broadway plays and nothing will ever compare to seeing Daniel there! I will make the 8 hour trips to again to see their next production. Spell binding!!! The music, actors and even live animals with incredible props and special effects!

Kudos to the performance of the play David. Superb movable sets, real live animals on stage along with the performers of all ages singing, dancing and acting made the play enjoyable.

We have visited the Sight and Sound Theatre in Branson, MO so when passing close to Lancaster, County we booked tickets to see the production of "David". Excellent and realistic production. Live animals are an intetgral part of the show. It lives up to it's name Sight and Sound. Highly recommended.

My bus tour group attended the Sight and Sound Theatre to see the play Noah. It did not disappoint. Amazing show and everyone in my group enjoyed it. I had 3 deaf folks with me and they were given hand held devices so they could enjoy the show also. A must see if you're in the area.

I never thought I would enjoy a play, because I’m not a fan of singing and dancing routines. My wife got us tickets last year to see David and we LOVED IT! We have now made it our annual Resurrection weekend tradition. This year we safe Moses and it was as impressive as David was last year. The actors and actresses did an AMAZING job and put on an excellent performance. The production team was 100% first rate and I couldn’t recommend this more for people of faith!

I went to see Queen Esther. This is my third trip to Sight and Sound. Each performance gets better and better. The stage and set us with astound you. The actors and actresses are spectactular. AWESOME.

First time going and it was amazing. There was a huge main stage and two side stages, you felt surrounded by action. Animals and actors come up and down the aisles, sometimes they sneak into the scene from the back. Birds fly over your head during the show. The sets are so detailed and the costumes are beautiful. Really impressive. Can’t wait until the next show they do.

Sight and Sound Theater's production of "Moses" was outstanding. I am sorry to see that it has a limited run that will end this week. This was beautifully done and paid homage to an important biblical story.

Absolutely amazing show! We saw Daniel and I have nothing negative to say about it. The staff at the theatre were friendly and welcoming, the glazed almonds were delicious and the show itself was just spectacular. The Bible come to life!

We saw the show "David". The performance was amazing but it was more than that. It made me analyze how I was living my life for God.

Sight and Sound was great as always. Moses was great as always. We went there for a morning show while in the area. The place was crowded but some seats were empty.
It is wonderful to see all of the actors and guests with their faith watching this event.

Birthday gift from my hubby. It was second time visiting sights and sounds and show did not disappoint.
The choice of seating area was last minute. Be sure you get tickets ahead of time to select your seating area.
"Grumpy Gus" (guy making a fuss). Please follow Sights and sounds police on wheel chair/walker. It ensures the safety of the performers and the audience.
If there is an emergency, there are plenty of staff and good Samaritans who will assist.
For the manger who was on duty May 29, She is correct, with her statement of having choices in how a person behaves and rather than quietly discussing the mater or take it out in main lobby, man choose to act out.
The mans behavior and his profanity effect the experience for the people around him.
People, when being out in public please show respect to others around you and have some social etiquette.
Going to make a traditional yearly or biyearly trip. Hopefully not same time as Grumpy Gus. 😂

I’ve heard about this theater for years. I finally had the opportunity to go. YOU MUST SEE THIS SHOW. The actors, music, staging, sound effects, live animals- this show has it all.
Besides the stage, action takes place in the aisles and along the sides. Never a dull moment. Just saw “Moses”. Can’t wait to see another.

This was an awesome show! So much to look at and very interesting. I would highly recommend and we will be going again in the future!

Amazing production of Daniel. The stage and costumes are incredible, music is great. We had seats in the upper level, you have a better view of the stage. The sets are ever changing. The furnace and lion’s den scenes were extraordinary.

We were blessed to be able to see Esther in Branson. We went as a 15 person family, ages 8-72. Everyone was captivated by the staging, scenery, storyline, and excellent musical performances.
Parking was easy and organized, but do get there in time to wait in line a few minutes.
Hit the bathroom before starting time. ….too crowded at intermission, for the women especially.
Seats were comfortable. The whole experience was amazing!

The play was about the life of David. Excellent portrayal of David and the scenery created was of Jesus's time. Well executed.

The stage sets are creative and colorful. The use of live animals sprinkled through the acts compliments the narrative.

We saw David this week and it was phenomenal! We brought our two small children with us (1 and 3 years old). Thankfully, neither of them cried or anything and I was able to see the show. I imagine this could be difficult with a child under 3 though. I knew I would have to go to the family room if my 1 year old started crying but thankfully he was ok. I highly recommend the show. There was not enough time to use the restroom during intermission and get a snack. I took my daughter with me to the restroom and my husband took my son. We got in the concession line directly after the restroom and the show was starting when there were still 5 or so people in line in front of us for snacks. It was fine and I did have snacks along to help the children get through (the 1 year old had started getting restless close to intermission and I thought a new snack might help push us through) .

Went on an all day touring trip w/STC TOURS, in the Bronx, NY yesterday March 18, 2023. This tour group is fabulous. We all traveled first to the Tanger Outlets for shopping fun, in Pennsylvania, then on to Miller's All You Can Eat restuarant-the food was very, very, very good/delicious & such an assortment of dishes & desserts, & then it was on to Sight & Sound to see the Biblical story of "Moses". That was truely one of the best highlights of the trip. Traveling w/STC TOURS is a wonderful travel experience. The agents of this travel agency make the patrons all feel welcome & like family. I really like traveling on different trips w/my friends on trips w/this travel agency & group of people.
We went to Sight & Sound to see the Bilblical show "Moses", which was spectacular. Sight & Sound is a marvelous place. They sell sweet roasted almonds and lots of souveniers to take home. I have visited to Sight & Sound Theater, in Pennsylvania many times in the past to see other Biblical show, w/other travel agency grouos, but traveling w/STC TOURS travrl agency was far better, because of the friendliness of the other patrons & the safety concerns & respect of the travel agencys' travel agents. I plan to return there, w/STC TOURS, as soon as they come out w/a newer Biblical story, as l have seen ALL of the Biblical shows.

My wife and I were blown away with the play Queen Esther from start to finish. We have already made the plan to visit and watch another play next fall with some family members to give them an opportunity of a lifetime. Two thumbs up.

Keep in mind they are musicals. but the production was Wonderful. Cast above and beyond of what I had expected.

Amazing! If you enjoy theater and you love the Lord this is a must. Be warned, after you see the first performance you will want to go back again and again. The theater is beautiful. The performers are talented. And the story is biblically accurate. We have been taking our grand children and they love it. Like us, they can't wait to come back for the next show. It is close to Kitchen Kettle Village and the Amish markets. Loads of hotels around (check out the Strasburg Village Inn). The parking is free and well organized. You can purchase drinks and snacks as well as a variety of souvenirs.

There was no doubt whatsoever the show's volume level needed to be lowered a lot for it to be tolerable. My wife and i were there on Sept. 10th at the evening show.
in a nutshell, it was punishing. For 98% of the show, i had to close my eyes to suppress the pain. Couldn't wait for it to end. I felt sorry for the children's ears that had to deal with it. Happiest person in the theater when it was..finally...over.

One of the most amazing shows I have ever watched the stage the costumes the music the story the singers the actors it was just unbelievable

Phenomenal! There are not enough superlatives to talk about this place and the amazing performance. First, the facility is gorgeous and exceptionally maintained. We took several pictures outside and then on the inside at the entrance.
Then, there was the play. We saw Daniel and having been a believer and Bible student for over 40 years, this still made the book of Daniel come alive. I have been to Broadway and this was every bit as good if not better. The music/singing was powerful with every voice in tune. As they sang, it was like they reached into your heart.
Next year is Noah. We've seen Moses. We will continue to see these Biblical dramatizations as often as we can.
And, a huge shout out to each of your for keeping it about Jesus and presenting the Gospel at the end! Keep up the great work!

Perfection in actors, staff, beauty, snacks and of course the play. I have to admit I could not stop my tears during a scene in Daniel. This is not just a play but ministry. This makes the audience feel like we are witnessing The Lord’s miracles in present day time. This is my second review but I’ve been about 10 times. It’s a pilgrimage for my husband and 2 teens.

Wow. If you've never been....you must go. We came to see Daniel. The whole show was awesome. They have live animals. An Excellent cast. Next year is supposed to be Noah. They say that is the best show ever. Can't wait to come back.

We were excited to see Moses. I was very impressed with the show. Everything from the panoramic stage to the music & choreography to the costumes. It was all on point! The glazed almonds are super tasty! The venue is gorgeous.
The actors didn't amazing! I especially loved Pharaoh's great laugh! And we were amazed by the animal actors. Everyone is so talented.
My only complaint has nothing to do with the show, but other patrons. We had people in front of us who talked, a lot. And a family behind us with a small child who "talked", fussed and yelled through the whole second half. It made it unenjoyable for us, as well as the people sitting beside us.
My suggestion is to have the preshow announcements in additional languages, at least have information about the family room printed for people with young children.
That being said, I would not bring a small child to the program, mainly because it is long, it's loud, and they tend to be unpredictable!

Went today to see the Sight and Sound Production of "Moses". Not sure of the correct adjectives to use in describing what we saw. The actors, singers, Production crew, staff where all amazing. As someone who grew up with The Ten Commandments as their story of Moses this was very different in many ways. I was most impressed with the story and the way it was presented. The special effects added so much. I left the theater with such a blessing to know the real story of Moses. I truly love the stories that Sight and Sound share. See this Production when you get a chance and I think you will find it uplifting.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE ! We have been coming here for years and we have never been disappointed. If you want to see and hear and learn about things /people in the Bible then sight and sound is the place to be. Basically a live play live animals ,great singing, great acting . Unsure about the food because we usually spend time enjoying the show but it’s worth the money, the travel, and the time. If you plan to stay in the area there are plenty of hotels around that offer packages for sight and sound and hotel.

We saw Noah for the 3rd time last week with our son, daughter and 2 grands, ages 6 and 15. It was just as wonderful as the 1st time! They had not seen it and loved it. The 6 yr old asked such insightful questions afterwards - she had followed it closely. Every production we have seen, which is most of them, has been great for all ages.
A word about the staff there - all so kind and friendly! Absolutely refreshing! I realized once we were out of town that my sunglasses must have fallen out of my pocket under the chair. I called, they got back with me just a little later, had found them and mailed them back to me free of charge. Who does that?! Thank you for an outstanding experience, Sight & Sound!

Terrible sound, over amplified, so much so that words were distorted. Much of the dialogue was shouted at us.
The story was well told and the special effects were very good.
Once you have seen animals running down the isles the following appearances are anticlimactic.
Been there, done that. We won’t be back.

What can you say about the Sight and Sound theater that hasn’t already been said. We saw The show David and it didn’t disappoint. The actors and animals did a fabulous job and the theater was massive. We will know next time to get a seat closer to the middle. We were at the very end on the left side of the theater in row eight. The way the theater is set up it was difficult to see what was going on in the stage to the left. Fortunately that particular stage wasn’t used too much.

I’m not a big fan of musicals so I was reluctant to see “Daniel”. Wow! First of all, I was amazed at the set, the production (lights, props, graphics, sound, that went into the musical). I loved all the live animals and usage of the theater floor as actors and animals passed through the aisles. Next, the musical brought the Bible to life. Although I’ve read the book of Daniel many times, I learned so much more that I won’t forget! Finally, my friend and I were super impressed that there was no curtain call at the end of the show. Rather, there was an invitation to salvation. This spoke volumes to us! I wanted to applaud all the actors, but all the glory was given to God!

This is the only place where you can experience a total biblical live musical presentation with live animals and a huge cast. It is a bucket list event.

David— the show was fantastic! Moved me to tears. Excellent production from the characters, the animals, the props, and especially the music!

Lovely clean facility with tons of restroom stalls for women. Amazing focus on God and as someone who appreciates theatre all I can say is “wow!”
It has 3 different “gift shops” with relevant items to buy at reasonable prices. We just saw Moses after seeing David last May. We will continue to tell others to visit as this is how we learned about this place!!

I have been too several plays and all of them have been great. How anyone could rate less then 4 stars is just insane. My favorite has to be Christmas, but like them all I became a member last year, and can watch all shows available at my convenience with the sight and sound app! Plenty of parking but get there at least 45 minutes before show time.

This was sooooo sspectacular! We have seen plenty of Broadway shows and this was better! The acting and singing was top notch and the special effects were mind-blowing!!! It was a WOW experience fir our first time attending. We are coming back for every new show!

Really enjoyed David. This is my first time to this theater but I have been to the one in Branson a couple of times. These are the best Bible plays you will find

I have been to many Broadway style shows and the production quality here is as good or better than any of those. This is a must see experience. Great for all the family and worth every dollar.

Went to see the production of David. The theater has 3 stages, the main stage and the 2 side stages that are in frequent use throughout. What a way to bring the Bible alive! Had a great time.

The shows are truly amazing here! The seating is all fine, with good viewing of the stage. The use of live animals walking thru the aisles during their part in the show makes it so realistic. We have gone every year for several years now, and are always impressed with the acting, singing, scenery , and special effects. It is well worth the trip!

Went to see Moses and must say, it was good. The one downside of Sight & Sound is everything seems to be rushed. They need to have a bit more time between shows. They end the show and want to rush everyone out to get the next crowd in. This leads to issues getting parking and having time to get something to eat or go to the gift shop.

Our first time at Sight &Sounds...lots of anticipation, production of David quite good. We will go back for another one someday. Theater is showing its age. The seats cushions are flattened. Also the seats are very narrow. I am a larger person, but so are many other patrons whom I noticed challenged by the seats. Beautiful building. Would love a tour someday.
The production itself was fine. Sort of the same intensity for the entire time. Probably very difficult to have quiet moments in a theater so large. Beautiful large pieces of set moving onstage. Really entertaining.
Hopefully a refresh is scheduled.

Beautiful facility. Too many stairs though. Elevator doesn't go to top floors in the Jackson tower. My handicap husband had a difficult time.

The best place to go in Lancaster. An experience that no one should miss. From the entrance you can tell how well this production is done. In 2022 I went to the work of David and in 2023 to that of Moses. You really are a gem!!!

Blown away by the magnificent building inside and out, friendly staff and production that's better than I've seen on Broadway stages. Saw Moses. Amazing, amazing, amazing.

Amazing presentation! Beyond what I ever expected. I come here with friends every year! This will touch your heart! Whether your a Christian or not this will bring you closer to the Savior!

Attended the "David" show, absolutely fantastic! The scenery, actors, and all of the animals bring this story to life. Songs and moving parts keep you glued to the action. Very emotional ending and I doubt there was a dry eye in the theater. Staff is top-notch and facility is clean and well maintained. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

What an incredible show. Sight & Sound never let's you down. Makes you want to come back for more. This was not our first time here, and we will be back again!!!!!!

We drove all day to get here but it was absolutely worth it. We loved every minute of the “Daniel” show. The detail and quality of the performance is amazing. The venue is absolutely beautiful and the way that animals are incorporated into the show is pretty impressive. We’re already talking about another trip next year.

It never disappoints. I’ve been watching their production for many years and it keeps getting better and better. The combination of digital and live effects make it an awesome experience and coupled with the inspiring stories of the characters you’ll feel blessed and thankful you came.

This was our first experience at Sight & Sound and it was amazing!!! We saw Esther. It was a fantastic show.

David was a very spiritual show which in this day and time we need. The actors were great and also all the animals and special effects.

What can you say about the Sound and Sight Theater. Wonderful production of Moses. The music and Choregrapy was outstanding. The cast of Moses were Great and the animals were amazaing

Excellent set presentations! Be sure to arrive an hour early. There are snacks and drinks available. The theater has 2000 seats available. Let parking attendants know if you need handicapped parking. Amazing! Amazing!Amazing!

The production of Noah was remarkable! The stage sets, real animals, lighting & sound are as good, if not better than Broadway!
The story is uplifting and the acting & singing are very good.

Oh my goodness! This is a "must-visit" trip while in the Lancaster, PA area. The theatre complex is elaborate and spacious. Bible stories are brought to life with fantastic scenery and top-notch acting (by humans and real animals). Yes, real animals. My husband and I visit every year. We saw the presentation, "Moses." The biblical stories are rotated and truly do not disappoint. We have seen "Joseph" and "David" over the years. Awesome! There is a gift shop with a variety of gift ideas and souvenirs. And a snack bar with many yummy treats. Sight and Sound is amazing.

Can not express the magnitude of the optics, acting, music n songs. It was such a treat to see the live animals intertwined with the story telling. The gift shop had many things made from other places then China but not enough. CHINA government that oppresses true Christian n its own people . Need more things made in the USA, Mexico etc... even if it cuts into the profits. Jesus taught to defend the oppressed . Book ahead for that great seat if you can : - )

This place is lovely in appearance.
It really packs in the zealous. The performers were talented, the stage set, lighting and sound were pure phenomenal.
No expense was spared.
HOWEVER, if you care about Covid do not go. There was no vaccination nor mask requirements. There are 2000 people packed in. I would estimate 70% were unmasked as well as some employees.
This place rakes in money with high admission, souvenirs as well as refreshments.

Had a wonderful time at Lancaster pa 😊 love sight and sound Daniel was amazing love it 😀 The very best of musical productions in the Lancaster area! The stage, actors, animals, music and atmosphere are amazing

My mother and I visited the Sight & Sound Theater with some friends. We sat in the 3rd row in the center of the theater. The building is beautiful with wonderful acoustics. We saw a production of DANIEL. The cast was talented. I was totally blown away by the set pieces that were across the stage and up the sides of the auditorium. They were huge and changed with each scene. As usual, animals were used in this show and came right down the aisle where I was sitting. I had to resist reaching out and petting a camel. (That's definitely something that will get your thrown out.)
Overall, a wonderful production and a beautiful venue.

Amazing performance. Rivals the best Broadway show. Noah was phenomenal. We have seen many shows over the years and each one never fails to inspire. A great performance and a great message all wrapped in one. The huge wraparound stage is one of a kind and the live animals are so cute and add to the realism. See for yourself. You won't be disappointed!

Fantastic place A+ in are book... wonderful show, great details... we go every year..
We would love to bring a BIG GROUP,but never any good group deal like for church groups or group of kids

What a BEAUTIFUL show regarding the biblical account of Queen Esther. Every character had amazing acting and singing abilities and the sets for the show were just absolutely incredible!! This was very moving for our group to see and we were so glad to have had the opportunity!

So I have reviewed Sight and Sound a couple of times already, but have to repeat myself, just because this theater is always worth visiting. We saw our 5th show here last night, and again, we were not disappointed. The, show, cast, special effects, costumes....all of it NEVER disappoints!! I AM BEGGING YOU.....GO SEE A SHOW HERE!!! Yes, all of the shows are Bible stories, and too many people nowadays are not interested in the Bible, but the shows are so amazing here, that, even if you are not into religion all that much, you are missing out if you don't do this at least once.

Our second time, the other in Branson seeing “Jesus”. Another great production, love the special effects, live animals. We set in upper level & had better view of side stages. Love the simple, short message at the end.

We have gone to their productions for many years, and have only missed two of all they have done. We have been both to Lancaster and to Branson, and the shows are the best thing around to see and hear the Bible stories and to learn about how Jesus loves us all. If you have never been there, I encourage you to goo now. Daniel this year was great, as have all the shows been over the years.

Never disappoints - the show was spectacular, the acting amazing, great audio, such detailed sets and wonderful costumes. The special effects are just amazing

The production was wonderful! The scenery, the costumes, the animals and the performers were all fabulous! The building is beautiful and so is the art on the walls. The people that work there are very friendly. We are coming back this year to see Esther. We would not miss it!

At Sight & Sound Theatre one will experience performances like no other. The theater itself is a work of art inside and out. The Biblical productions are first rate. We have seen most of the shows over the years and most recently saw the 30th Anniversary addition of Noah. It was different from the first time we saw it but just as amazing with all the animated and live animals on stage. Sight & Sound productions are what keep us returning to Lancaster County.

David-Absolutely Amazing and enjoyable performance. From the live animals to the talented actors just breath taking, this is better than DISNEY.

We try to come every couple of years to see the latest show that they are performing. I would have to say that Daniel is one of the best ones that we've seen in quite some time. Moses and David were good, but Daniel was fabulous!!

Another absolutely awesome show at sight and sound.if you never been there you need to go and see a show there.always spectacular. Make sure you visit some of the attractions in the are also like kitchen kettle village, shady maple smorgasbord, etc

This theater puts on the most fantastic musical/play productions in the country. With the panoramic stage you are immersed in with the story and the actors and the music and the experience is fantastic. This year is the story of Daniel. Next year it’ll be Noah. This is our second visit to the theater. We plan to go every year because the production is second to none.
The facility itself is grand on the outside and beautiful. The gardens in front of the theater are beautiful. The inside of the theater is also grand. The carpeting is a little bit to be desired as well as the fabric the seats. The seats are a little smashed in close to your neighbor, and there’s barely any leg room, but I guess that’s to be expected at a theater from the 1990s.
But all of that aside, the production and the work that goes into these events on a daily basis is phenomenal.
Next year, we’re going back!

I have now seen at least 5 of the Sight & Sound musicals, all of which have been well above average! The theater is beautiful inside and out! Though I can't say there is a bad seat in the house, I find the mezzanine and balcony to surpass the rest! You can easily see everything from above, things that I feel would be completely missed if you had floor seating and even more so if you were sitting pretty much from the halfway point and forward on the floor. The theater is clean and welcoming. You're met with the aroma of their awesome candied almonds even before walking through the entrance! Too hard to pass up buying a bag every time we go. :-) We are already looking forward to going again next year to see Moses! Every one of the shows are extremely professional with incredibly talented performers. They take you back to a time in history that has impacted the culture and world more than any other - the Bible. Whether you are already a believer, or not, if you have an appreciation for musicals, this will fit the bill. The talent, the set, the story, the music from the first to the final note will grab and keep your attention. For those of you that already have some Biblical knowledge of these wonderful accounts, Sight & Sound has such a way of filling in the blanks, bringing the heart to each of the amazing stories, bringing all of them to life without vearing away from Biblical truth. I can't say enough about it. Though it is expensive, I feel we always get our money's worth.

2nd time attending a show at Sight and Sound Theater...so wonderful...even the parking lot staff is very professional and efficient! The shows are spectacular, thrilling and thought provoking. The performers voices are outstanding! You will not be disappointed!

Wonderful show!!! I loved. It's an experience that everyone should have, it's truly incredible, it feels like you're in the scene, the characters, scenery and the musical are breathtaking and you can go with your family. The characters interact with the audience, surprising you all the time. The city is small. The hotels around are good and cheap, they serve very well, they are hospitable. I had the opportunity to watch several plays such as: Abraham & Sarah, Joseph, Daniel and the lions'den and In The beginning. Which one did I like the most? Difficult to say!! Unmissable.
Congratulations to all of you!!! I can't wait to go back.

This is the second program we've seen in the last few months (9). David in August 2022, Moses on April 14, 2023. I loved David!! Moses was a little hard to understand but only because the sound system was a little bit hard to hear the people when they talked. The music was good 😊. We are hoping to come back in the fall or around Christmas but we will have to wait and see. A definite stop and see if you're in the area. Just remember to make your reservations early because they do sell out. It's always worth seeing.

Most amazing experience! excellent theater, performance, message... my husband and 9yo daughter drive 8 hours every year to see it! totally worth it! God is good!

I have been here several times and the productions have been superb each time. Ample parking, ample seating and employees are so polite. I will return every year! Well worth the price to attend.

I brought a group of 52 senior adults to Sight and Sound to view the spectacular pagent of Daniel!!! It is hard to put in words how spectacular this show is! The sets, pagentry, costumes, singing, and staging is breath-taking. Of course, the message of Daniel is uplifting and inspirational! So very well done!! I cannot praise it enough. To God be the Glory!

From start to finish, everything was excellent. The actors, the props, the stage, the scenery, the lighting.I could not have desired a better treat from my daughter in celebration of our 52nd wedding anniversary.

Quality and excellence in every aspect! Bringing Bible stories to life without compromising the truths of the Scriptures is a monumental task Sight & Sound has accomplished. “David” is their latest achievement in accomplishing this goal.
Attending one of these productions will impact the viewer in ways you will not forget. It goes way beyond simple entertainment. Be prepared to laugh and cry as you step into these stories to be challenged in ways not expected.

Be sure you buy your tickets early for this one! Truly a memorable experience. We visited Lancaster because of Sight & Sound. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the presentation!

Our tip is this should be on everyone's bucket list. Great theater opined by a reviewer (me) who doesn't like theater shows. The production values and story presentation will entertain anyone - even those minds not Biblically inclined. It was hard getting tickets so plan ahead. I mean who would think the place would be sold out on a Weds. in April?

We went as a family of four and saw Moses at the first show on a Saturday. My wife called the week before hoping to get some tickets and via phone, we were able to get four on the lower levels on the left-hand side very good seats. We enjoyed the show very much. It was our third show we had seen and to me, Moses was my particular favorite thus far. Looking forward to going again. The theaters in such a nice area with so much to do don’t hesitate to go. Fantastic messages in each and every play…we need more God in our lives.

Exceptional in every way. This is the most elaborate stage set up I've ever seen. The performers were excellent. I wish I lived closer as I recommend it to anyone and would love to attend future programs.

Noah was spectacular. The actors and props blew us away. All was well until after the show. We were a group of 27. My husband walked outside while we were were waiting for all of our group, inside. He came back and looked in the door and an employee screamed at him, several times, like he was trying to break in! He doesn't hear well and the guy said, I had to get your attention somehow. I'm not sure why he was so snarky, but I didn't like it one bit. Any establishment is built on the people they hire. Professionalism, I appreciate, but kindness goes a long way with me. This guy acted like he was on high alert....my gosh. No need for his attitude.

Planning Activities and outings for a larger family can sometimes be challenging. Especially, when the interest of those participating are quite varied. We have seen several productions from sight and sound in the past at the Branson location, but this was our first time in Pennsylvania. Queen Esther, was a wonderful production that kept the interest of all my children. More importantly, the message of God's faithfulness was clearly displayed in this musical. I would highly recommend seeing this production.

What a joy to come see a show here. The productions are always amazing each time we come. We sat in the middle top and saw everything! Before we sat down on the floor and didn’t see everything.

Just saw Queen Esther. Sets were amazing. Voices were as good as Broadway. A must see event! I have seen every Biblical show at this theater starting with Noah. Every one has had a wow factor.

Wonderful experience! Everything is top notch. Clean facility, great staff, superb acting. Will be visiting again. Our three children (ages 7, 5, 3) sat through the whole performance and enjoyed it as well!

Best show ever!!!!! The choreography was unbelievable. We sat in the balcony and had a great view of everything. There are no bad seats. There were live animals - sheep, horses, birds. We did feel a little sorry for the very pregnant sheep who seemed tired and was bringing up the rear in one scene. She was struggling - we could relate to being very pregnant. LOL
The only critique would be that the words in the songs were hard to determine at times.
Be sure to get your tickets early. It sells out quickly. I would recommend getting them before you come to Branson.
You have to get the roasted almonds at the concession stand. Very good!

Scenery, music, vocals, costumes, lighting - all fabulous!
I was concerned by the lack of masks. Also, I understand that this theatre is a business that needs to make money, and many people are vaccinated, but people were packed in with not spacing between groups.
If you visit and you are not concerned about COVID-19 and its variants, this will not bother you. If you are concerned about the virus, I recommend double masking, and purchasing extra seats so no one can sit near you.

This was our second time visiting the Sight & Sound Theatre in Lancaster, P.A. The production "Daniel' was spectacular and worth seeing. We would recommend it to everyone regardless of your faith. Truly amazing!!!

Sight and Sound's presentation of David almost defies description! I can't imagine how much detailed work went into preparing this magnificent story of David's life, the actors memorizing their powerful dialogue, the intricate, fast-paced choreography, musical ramifications, glorious set-constructions on a three-sided stage, as well as aerial theatrics. Good Lord! What an inspired production that people of faith must not miss!
Suffice to say, curious non-church folk attending would most certainly be compelled to give space in their hearts to welcome the King of Kings after absorbing this inspirational presentation.
Just so well done!
I wondered how Goliath and the other four giants could be dramatically represented in the play, but that task was effectively achieved with wide-eye open reception from the full house!
Actors and critters were frequently using the aisles to enter/exit the stage, so it would be wise to plop yourself into your seat during the two-act play, unless it is your desire to be trampled by a dromedary camel.
Souvenirs, nummies featuring glazed almonds can be had in the lobby.
Surprsingly, the parking lot empties out rather quickly.
Moses is the next scheduled play. Should be fantastic.
People in my group that have attended several other offerings at Sight and Sound are hard pressed to favor one show over another; all are of such high quality!
The Lord's hand is certainly on this place in Ronks, PA!

Me, my wife & others from our church came from NY to this place to see the musical "Noah". It was amazing, the cast of the show was wondering to watch & the place itself is huge to look at, both inside & outside. I recommend everyone that hasn't come here before to give this place a try. You'll get a real good feeling after watching their presentations.

Esther was another of Sight & Sounds EXCELLENT productions. The sound is too high especially with actors that have a robust voice. Even the music volume is too high. Needs to be adjusted. Overall...TREMENDOUS!

We went with a group to see “Noah” and it was breathtaking. I have seen other productions here and at their theater in Branson Mo. , but I think that this is the best one ever. The realistic sets, actors, and live animals are just amazing. If you have the opportunity to, be sure to experience this.

Oh my lands!! I cannot describe well enough in words how incredible this was. Our family saw Daniel and I absolutely loved it! The talent was very good and kept me entertained. Kept my attention the whole show. The bathrooms were very large so lines moved quickly after the show let out. Parking was super easy but I recommend getting there early for decent space. Must see!!!

Fabulous, exceptional, breathtaking, just can't find enough adjectives to truly describe "David", the current show at Sight and Sound theater in Ronks, PA. I had visited this theater several years ago and had wanted to return with my husband as I was so impressed with that show. This production did not disappoint and my husband was very impressed. Truly a must see.

Productions that will amaze you. Crowd but definitely not over crowded. More than worth for price of a ticket. Many places to stay and experience the Amish culture.

It is most difficult to find the words to adequately describe the experience of attending Sight and Sound's latest production, " Daniel."
One knows that something special is about to happen as you approach the magnificent building, complete with a statue honoring " The Lion and the Lamb," greeting ingoing patrons. Another hint that you are in for a treat is the jammed parking lot, with dozens of motor coaches and trillions of cars, all of which brought the 2,000 ! attendees to the theater. Needless to say, always a full house, so grab your tickets early!
Once inside, just take a deep breathe of the ambiance of the facility and let your eyes feast on the grandeur of the setting. Many folks compare their shows to Broadway, but I say the Broadway shows should hope to compare to the Sight and Sound Biblically accurate presentations!
Perusing through the pamphlet listing the acts and list of performers, you will notice that there are dozens of experienced people that are not strangers to the stage .
As the lights dim and the curtain, actually curtains, open you are in awe of how immense the stage area is, complete with two side stages to completely tell the story of Daniel.
The sound is powerful, but not overpowering, and the lighting is great. Needless to say, the employment of the actors and singers was a detailed process, as evidenced by their flawless performances.
May I seem to be the first reviewer to applaud the writers and choreographers of this almost two hour spectacle? Wonderful just doesn't cover it. They most have spent months rehearsing all the intricacies of telling the beautiful story of Daniel!
Once again, this humble reviewer lacks the vocabulary to give honor to the power of the sets, with several giving the illusion that the stage extends thousands of feet beyond. It feels like you have been transported back to the days of Daniel to personally witness his testimony! Breathtaking!
Dozens of '"wows" came from attendees when the sixty foot high golden statue of Nebuchadnezzar rose from the bowels of the main stage. Throw in another Breathtaking here. The Hanging Gardens of Babylon filled the stage in one scene, complete with an impressive waterfall and the sound thereof.
They pulled off the three men thrown into the fire scene, with Lord Jesus present.
Believers had to rejoice when God reached out his mighty hand to write a message that only Daniel could interpret. I'm saying that the way they delivered this was simply awe-inspiring. I wanted to look at the playbill to see if one of the actors was a guy named GOD. LOL
Yes, this is definitely a bucket list item, and it pretty much should be at the top of the list.
I'd be remiss if I didn't give a shout out to the parts played by the camel, horse, goats, and even piggies. Well done1 Well trained. Please give them extra servings of oats or whatever , on me!
Our senior citizen traveling group was truly blessed by all of those involved in allowing us to witness this most memorable event. Thanks. God will reward you1

This was a planned event for overnight bus trip stop in Lancaster. We had seats near front (6-7 back) and were exposed to all the sound reverberations during the performance. Awesome experience. Nice venue with gift shop. Well tended by employees on duty. We viewed live show called Noah. Approximate 2.5 hour show including (1) 20 minute intermission. Plenty of restrooms and concessions on two-levels. 100’s of live animals are part of the acts that parade up and down audience aisles during show and you must remain seated. This is a definite piece of entertainment you should take in when in area.

Just saw the show Moses and as always, this theater put on a phenomenal show! They never disappoint! The way that they parted the "Red Sea" in this performance was mind blowing! What we love about coming here, is that you know that you are always going to see a great performance for a very reasonable price. We always sit on either the second or third level because you can see absolutely everything. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. If you have never been to a show here, please do yourself a favor and go!

The acting and the special effects were unbelievable. This is our 4th visit to this theater and and we will return. We have recommended this event to both our family and friends. If 6 stars were available, we would rate our visit a 6. Only issue, is that we stayed at the Hawthorne Suites by Wyndham in Lancaster and was very disappointed in this property. The property is centered in between three busy highways and the noise precluded any sleep after a long drive from Pittsburgh. When this concern was brought to the attention of a manager. SUE, WHO REFUSED TO PROVIDE HER LAST NAME, SUE PRESENTED AN ATTITUDE THAT THERE IS NOTHING SHE COULD DO GIVEN THE PROPERTY LOCATION. I am sharing this experience to help other seniors have positive experience in traveling to the Sights and Sound Theater and no stay at a property that may turn an otherwise fantastic event.

Without being at Sight and Sound, the show would have been very good.
However, with seeing three prior- I was a little disappointed.
The theatrics is wonderful, but there are things that could make it better.
We saw the Miracle of Christmas. We sat in Row B (there is no A). It was way too close to the stage. I honestly do not think that they should have Rows B-E. We paid the same amount as everyone else, but there were parts of the show we couldn't see.
The booster seats for the kids didn't fit the seats well, so they were sliding all over the entire time.
I expected more live animals and only live animals. In the barn, there was an animatronic donkey and two cows. They weren't necessary. If live ones are everywhere else, have all live and only live.
The concession stands were lovely, reasonably priced $3 for a pop, $4 for a slushy and $5 for roasted nuts.
The intermission wasn't equally spaced. 1.5 hours to start, intermission of 20 minutes, and then 45 minutes.
Also, in the past there was a crucifixion scene to prove that the Story does not end with the Birth of Christ. There was a long narrative about that, too. However, this time that was completely taken out. I was disappointed. What about those in the audience that do not know the whole story or that haven't heard the ENTIRE story? If an extra scene and another 15 minutes brings one more person to Christ, it's worth it.
Overall, it was ok.... but again, there are quite a few things to make it "the way it used to be" and to make it "better".

It was loud but amazing saw Moses loved it worth the money we paid to go went as a group loved it Great time

Dynamic professional performance of Esther. Lead actor voices powerful and stage performance was amazing. My concern is the lack of COVID precautions or notices, and small number of attendees wearing a mask. I wish the largely Christian audience would fully believe Philippians 2:1-4. Look to the interests of others. My guess is that less than 20% of audience had a mask, in case this is of concern to you considering buying tickets. The show was awesome. Thanks to the SL team for your hard work!!

I attended Sight and Sound Theater on 9/30/23. I saw 'Moses'. It was a good performance. Last year, I watched 'Joseph'. I usually enjoy the performances, The staff is always pleasant. However, I have a problem with seating! Sight and Sound Theaters need to provide seating comfort for patrons. Be reminded, we are sitting to wat shows that are usually two and a half hours in length. We NEED leg room to stretch out our legs. It is TOO confining! Because of the confinement, it is difficult to sit throughout the show. I usually sit in the balcony area and it is UNCOMFORTABLE! I also go with taller people than myself, and it is even MORE uncomfortable for them! PLEASE, do something to address this issue!

We were blessed to see Daniel. This was our 4th trip to a Sight & Sound Theatre (3 times in Branson, this was the 1st to Pennsylvania). Never ever disappointed! Every show is just breathtaking. The sets keep us in awe, the acting is fabulous, and the stories are the best. Highly, highly recommend going to at least one show in your lifetime.

Always a joy and delight to witness their productions. Such an amazing experience even as a witness in the audience! We have seen at least a few of their productions and have gotten to know at least one of the cast members....this is a ministry, and the productions are total worship services, not just a performance!!!

I just saw my first Sight and Sound production with some awesome friends—and it was so beautiful!! This is certainly a must-do if you're in the area.

We got the tickets for this show to enjoy a 4 day weekend in the Lancaster, PA area. Being a Christian I found this Christmas Musical “Miracle of Christmas”. It was Amazing! I will admit that parts of the play was so well written and preformed that I had tears of Joy and felt peace from God! I highly suggest watching this asap, if you are able to get the tickets. I wish I could have told the entire team how amazing their work for God doing this is.
No photography or video recording is allowed durning the show on a 300’ stage.

We saw “Moses”, which was a very religious experience. It helped us understand how the Hebrews were freed from Egypt 🇪🇬. The acting and scenery was spectacular. With actors and animals running through the aisles and angles flying overhead, it was fantastic.

This was the best experience I have every had. Everyone there was so nice and friendly and really take care of your needs. Can't wait to go back again.

Our family has attended two Sight & Sound Theater shows - Daniel and Noah. Both were outstanding!!! The productions here are amazing and well worth the cost and length of travel to attend. We look forward to attending future events. The theater is beautiful inside and out and everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Despite the size of attendance it’s relatively easy getting to and from the shows. Parking is easy, not too far to walk from parking lot, and it doesn’t take too long to depart afterward. Overall it a great experience and I highly recommend you attend their shows. You will not be disappointed!

The plays that Sight and Sound puts on are the best I've ever seen. The detail of the sets are truly amazing. We just saw David and it was so detailed and the 180' stage was magnificent ! Highly recommend this venue. Fantastic !
The only thing of concern is the seating. Seats are small and too close together and there is little leg room so if you are a big person like I am, it's a concern.

I was lucky to get a ticket to see the show Noah. It was amazing and everyone who works there from the front desk will call ticket to the ushers were so friendly and helpful. The whole experience was wonderful and I'm looking forward to attending Joshua next year.

The Sight & Sound Theatre is like no other! I was expecting a beautiful stage, but it over exceeded my expectations. We saw “Queen Esther,” which was amazing! The actors, animals, costumes, set design & singing were mesmerizing! I would highly recommend visiting the Sight & Sound Theatre!

On a bus tour. We saw Queen Esther. The performance was unbelievable . The actors were great. Costumes were beautiful. Really enjoyed it
Only complaint was the heater was on too much. it was so hot. Breeding crowd for Covid

We wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary at this venue. We did last year-- it was beautiful!
This year was a bit different. We were sitting in a row that had a family, who bought the same row we were in, and the row behind us. They were so OBNOXIOUS!! They had young children who were unruly. The 'adults' in the family weren't doing anything to keep the kids in order. They had a young teen look after the kids. And she was overwhelmed.
And unfortunately, we were there longer than expected-- there was a power failure. That was an additional 35-40 minutes to get things in order.
There was nothing that Sight and Sound could really do. But, my suggestion is if you want to thoroughly enjoy the experience, do not bring young children-- and DON'T go at a time where kids could be present.

Watched Jesus. It was good overall in settings, animals, and transitions. Some concerns I had were that the show had many biblical inaccuracies. It seems like they only took events from the gospel of John and moved around events and added many things. Some inaccuracies include making Mary who had 7 demons also the adultress in order to have a musical scene, Satan orally tempting Jesus in the Garden (portrayed Jesus as someone weak and it very over dramatized His anguish in the wrong manner), John writing his gospel during the Pentecost, and parables being said in the wrong settings and wrong contexts. There are many more inaccuracies than just these 4 examples and you may shrug them off as not really important, but I really hope that as a Christian organization looking to recreate events in the Bible, Sight and Sound would strive to portray Jesus the correct way using the Bible. I see way too many 5 star reviews of Christians talking about it being "life-changing" while it has so many inaccuracies in it. This leaned way too much on the entertainment side rather than ministering to unsaved souls or edifying Chrisitans. I get that they need money and want to attract more people, but the gospel message and the Bible were not conveyed properly.
At the end, there was an invitation to "accept Jesus as your savior" which is not biblical. Jesus does not need your acceptance. He wants your trust and faith and I did not feel like the message was properly conveyed. The gospel and Jesus's trial, crucifixion, and resurrection were all rushed and not fully explained or gone through.

I've heard many great reports about the Sight & Sound Theatre. Finally was able to experience their production myself and it was fabulous!!! Their online website was easy to purchase tickets and prices are very reasonable. Everything was very organized from the parking to purchasing snacks to ushering into the theatre. The set, costumes and performance of the actors was excellent. I highly recommend attending this event now or for future productions.

Great theatre production! Professional production of a Bible story with animals and actors/actresses coming down the aisles to the stage and back. Background props are art masterpieces with some digital backgrounds to add depth and a sense of being a part of the story.

I went on a church bus trip to see Noah. It was wonderful. Not enough words to explain the talent of these young people. The animals used in the production were very well behaved. Lol. I would see it again and again.

It was a spectacular performance for the whole family. Took our son and family and were all astonished at the powerful performance!

What a spectacular show. Talented actors with beautiful voices, and the theatre is really amazing. The use of live animals in the production is so unusual!

For me and my family the experience that we received from the front door to when we were seated left us feeling very uncomfortable. My oldest daughter actually asking if we were treated the way we were by the staff because we were African American. Example 1: my family of 4 entered the show, immediately behind a cacausian family. The woman who worked at S&S smiled at them & immediately asked if she could help. Once she helped them, me any family were expecting the same. Instead she looked at us and immediately began to walk away. We literally had to scream ... excuse me. She stopped - we asked if we to could be helped.
Example 2: my family then enter the theatre ... I then ask a staff for where our seats were. She immediately and very rudely states, " your ticket"...- we all just looked. Yet, what we noticed is for "everyone else" who asked - there was a smile and a "this way". The show was great but the service we were not impressed and I will be calling to file a formal complaint with management tomorrow. No one deserves to be treated differently then others. Especially at a Christian establishment. We drove close to 2 hours to watch Moses- yet drove home discussing how rude the service was we encountered early on. Very unexpected and not appreciated. Wish I would of taken the two young ladies names- they need diversity and sensitivity training asap!

We go to sight and sound every year. This years production was wonderful. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. Looking forward to Noah next year Mike

We can’t say enough good things about this theatre and this show, Moses! Sight and Sound theater is an experience in itself with gorgeous decorations and architecture. The show Moses was biblical, energetic, and thoughtful! If you only look at the cost, it seems like a lot. If you recognize what you’re getting, it’s well worth the money. We will be back, if God is willing!

Over the years, we have seen many theatrical performances but nothing can stack up to this presentation. The story of “David” was performed with birds, camels, goats and sheep. Many actors played multiple roles. The theater showed stars on the ceiling and soap bubbles as snow over the audience. The songs were masterful and executed flawlessly, It such a delightful experience that everyone should witness. Get your tickets early because they sellout quickly.

We saw David. It is an excellent play. The sound system and the artists are excellent. IT IS WORTH watching all the time.

Once again a wonderful show we will never forget. Can’t wait to come back and see another show in the future.

Bus parking is amazing. Lot attendants help guide you to parking. Arrive early so you can locate the correct entrance to your seats. Ushers are wonderful with knowledge of seating arrangements and helping to direct you. The show experienced technical difficulty and the staff was good about updating the audience until the show was back on track. We were shown some behind the scenes reels about the shows production. Once the program began, it was utterly amazing! Surprises on every side left us wondering how they did some things and in awe. The production aligned with the Bible and was tastefully done so that it was a program that families could attend together without fear of what was being portrayed. There are rooms provided if children become restless or need nursing. There is a short intermission which allows time for a restroom break or shopping on their gift store. Restroom lines may be long, however the attendants facilitate to help eliminate wait times. There are plenty of restroom facilities to handle the 2000 seat arena. Amazing production by the theater and our group is already anticipating another show!

Great experience! My granddaughters love it! I buy them tickets for us at Christmas. My one granddaughter is learning to play some of the music on the piano. Our second Sight and Sound Christmas present to them.

My wife and I have been to the Sight and Sound Theaters in Lancaster and Branson. The whole organization is first class from the facilities to the people to last but not least, the productions. If you want to see Bible stories come to life in front of your eyes in a meaningful way, with world class production values, look no further. For all people of faith, with or without children or people who are curious about the Lord, I highly recommend.

We actually never got to see the performance . They contacted us less than 24 hrs prior to show time to let us know they canceled the show . My family was already in our hotels after enduring 6 hours of traffic only to find out the show we traveled for was canceled. All
they could offer us was to reschedule or money back . We lost time and money (Labor Day weekend prices ) ; not to mention the entire family’s disappointment. I understand things happen they have no control over , but they could have been more accountable for our loss in the matter .

David was an excellent production! The acting, singing, music, and special effects were fantastic! We really enjoyed the show and would love to go back to see other shows.

Took my 9-yr old grandson to see the show. As others noted, the sound is pretty loud and if this is a sensitivity, I recommend at least bringing cotton balls to help.
The stage is amazing and the first time the curtain rises is a bit of an awe experience with the details and size. I don’t thing there would be a bad seat in the house; acts occur on all sides of the stage so good seats are not limited to the orchestra center.
The show is longer than I anticipated; including the 20-min intermission, it was over 2 1/2 hrs.
The performance includes live animals; performers also go through the center isle during the show.
Tickets were purchased online; easy peasy. There’s plenty of free parking available, along with concessions and gifts.

This show is not to be missed. Every time we go it only gets better. Well done and very organized getting 2000 people in and out. We were 3rd row from the back in the balcony. Thought it might be too far away but not!

We come to your theater every year. It takes 6 hrs to get there and it's well worth it. Daniel was the best show I've seen there.

My first visit to the theatre. The production was "Daniel", a musical. A large theatre that seats 2000. The actors/singers were excellent, talented. Comparable to a Broadway production, even more impressive.
The visuals were striking. This is the first time I have seen a production where the usual sets were augmented by 180 degrees of projection screens with graphic displays. It was like one of those 3D movies but without having to wear 3D glasses.

Enjoyed the production of 'Noah'. Very professional. The acting and special affects amazing. Real animals used. Jesus even appeared at the end! True treasure for this area.

This is Christian Broadway. It is elegant and nice from the parking lot to entering the building, to the show, etc. We went for the Esther play. There is so much happening at once. You could literally attend it twice in a row and get different things out of it. The guests services lady (don't remember her name) was great -- I forgot to print our tickets thinking that we could just show a bar code. She looked up our tickets by our phone number and printed them right there. This place is super clean and exquisite. My tip for you -- buy tickets as if you were going to a football game or a NASCAR race -- you don't need to be on the front row, because you will miss all of the stuff to your right and left. Center back (perhaps not the back row) are the most desirable tickets, and they are not the most expensive....

We saw "Daniel". The presentation was fantastic! Superbly preformed! An Excellent experience! It was well worth what we paid for our tickets! Lots of staff to help with any question to find what you are looking for; your seats, the bathroom, etc.

My mom and I came to Lancaster for a girls night and saw 'David' at this theater and stayed next door at the Inn at Hershey Farms (which was a great stay that offers discounted tickets for Sign & Sound btw). The show was awesome and the lobby, restrooms and seating areas were all clean. The show is about 2.5 hours long and keeps all ages entertained. My mother and I are not hugely religious but still enjoyed a great show here.

We like the section just beyond the main floor and towards the center. Good views of everything. Wheelchair and limited mobility friendly areas of the theater are available. Seats are comfy but we noticed some broad patrons having issues
Beautiful theater. Kind and helpful employees. Wonderful performance of Daniel. Singing, dancing, fire juggling, live animals and special effects combine to make every performance impressive.
Be sure to learn the story of Daniel before attending. It will be helpful. They kind of jump right into it without a lot of character building.
Negative:
Other people!..lol..
1. Eating has always been permitted in this theater. However, this was the first time we've encountered people with noisy, paper bag lunches chowing down like they were at a picnic in a park! This behavior was terribly distracting and disrespectful to other attendees.
2. People on their phones! My goodness, just turn the ringer off.
The theater already makes an announcement concerning phones, so not much more can be done. Maybe they can find a way to curtail the disruptive eating?
Maybe there's a theater etiquette video on YouTube?

We have been here many times and have enjoyed each and every performance. The people are very friendly. The performers are excellent. Would highly recommend this place.

The whole experience was amazing. The performance was perfect and the fidelity to the story of Daniel was spot on. I highly recommend.

I love sight and sounds. There's no other place for a good Christian- themed well done theater show.Perfection does not describe it. My problem is I have tendonitis in my knee s and for the first time did not have anywhere to extend my legs. I normally take an aisle seat. I am 5ft 10 in. This was unbearable. I could not turn left or right. My Knees were pushed up against the hard backrest of the seat in front. I could not turn left or right. I fidgeted so much I had to leave my seat to stand. They were sold out and could not offer me a handicapped spot. Ihad to stand in the back and stretch my legs for the whole Second act. The ushers won't let me borrow their Chairs. If I am not able to get handicapped seating I am not returning. this was traumatic and i an in pain from aggravating my tendons which were well on their way to healing. As I got on the elevator, 3 elderly women got on and without me saying a word exclaimed about how hard the Seating was on their Knees. I felt less guilty at that point. New seating needed, charge a premium for extended leg room seats. We will come

Our first visit here and we will definitely be returning. We saw the Miracle of Christmas and it was awesome. The theatre is beautiful and the actors were amazing. We had aisle seats (row R) and they were perfect. The animals walked down the aisle beside our seats.

The Christmas Miracle was excellent. Great acting, costumes, script and songs. The performance was so captivating we didn’t realize how much time had passed. This was our first show, we would definitely return!

Sight & Sound Theatres never disappoints. The show was amazing! Not only was the tale beautifully portrayed, but the message of hope came through loud and clear. Thank you!

Wonderful bus trip planned tour. We never thought we would do a planned bus tour but will worth money! Spent 2 nights in Philly there and back. Planned Gettysburg battle grounds with an excellent guide from National Park Services, Went to Play David at Site and Sound Theatre. Best play we’ve ever seen! Horse sheep came down audience isles unto stage! The Giant was huge and walked and fell after David’s stone hit him’ We’ve seen many plays but ranks highest on our list. We visited a outdoor museum period at time of Civil War! Took in a second play and on way home stopped at Hershey Factory did walk about. Really a fun bus ride w/ game playing never boring!

I Evangelist Bill Lang have Evangelist Bill Lang Ministries and I have been There 3 Times. The Last with the Christian Television Station Cornerstone For the Jesus Production. It was great! God Bless!

Our first time and we were wowed! Excellent production of Esther. Staff was great. Facility and grounds were immaculate. Cleanest public bathroom ever!! I’m glad I read a tip to get the roasted almonds. Our family loved them. We plan to make this an annual tradition going forward.

We will remember Moses forever! My 11 year old said it all when he leaned over and whispered to me: “God is very proud of this play.” So impressive! All areas of the stage were used, the sides of the theatre, above us, even the smells. Immersive and powerful. We loved when the animals walked near us in the aisles. The Passover scene was incredible…foreshadowing The Last Supper, and The Real Presence...watching it click for our children…worth every penny! There really is no way to describe it. Delicious snacks in the lobby. Epic facility. Disney, take notes please. THIS is what we want to spend our money on.

This was our first time seeing a show (David) at Sight and Sound; and lived up to it’s expectations, and then some. I wish I would’ve known about this earlier. Sorry Big Apple, a broadway show doesn’t even compare to Sight and Sound. God Bless!

I've been told by so many friends & family to make the trip to Lancaster, PA aka Amish Country to go see any production from SIGHT & SOUND THEATRE...went to see the story of DANIEL and I was totally floored. It was that good👍👍👍 We really sincerely enjoyed the talents of the actors, singers cause it was even better than a typical Broadway show you find in New York these days. There's so so much audio visual that immerses you theatrically and the best part...they even used "LIVE ANIMALS" I repeat live animals such as horses, llamas, goats, piglets up & down the aisles depending on the storyline if you know what I mean. No, there was no lions (probably safety concerns) but the ones they generated visually served the purpose of the story! It was an OMG moment which made me wonder why I didn't go earlier in my life. Please please make a trip to SUGHT & SOUND THEATRE cause it's really worth the trip & admission. Loved it so much when I heard that next year they're having the 30th anniversary show NOAH...I immediately bought tickets for May 2025 cause I really wanted an aisle seat ( heck, can't pass up the idea of animals walking up the aisle to board the ark!) Beautiful theatre in a warm friendly Amish town with delicious restaurants and luscious countryside if it isn't a draw...you now know what you are missing. Suggest you get the tickets to go now and see Daniel or during the holidays when they do a Christmas spectacular show. I know I am excited for NOAH next year...see you there👍🥰

Saw Moses. Scenery was beautiful and so authenic. Amazingly told story. Love the live animals. Just booked another show

My wife an I , as well as my Mom , have seen a-lot of the shows at site an sound theater in Lancaster(Ronks) PA. And although the Shows are always Spectacular, the Seats are not. They are now showing their Wear an tear . An hence, are very very very Uncomfortable . We use to enjoy going , but by the time we get to the intermission (the first half of the play(show ), it becomes unbearable sitting down . It’s a literal pain to make it thru the rest of the show because the seats need better padding (the old padding is worn out). I really wish that they would finally replace the seats,( or the padding ).

We saw the show Noah. It was an amazing performance with state of the art effects. The sound was run perfectly, you could hear everything clearly, but it was never too loud. The seats were not as comfortable as we had hoped but they were fine.
The theater is lovely and their signature roasted almonds made the entire venue smell so good! We will definitely see another show at Sight & Sound Theatre.

The Bible comes to life, and one's experience at Sight & Sound Theater is wonderful from the moment of arrival. The building is gorgeous! Parking is a breeze with the attendants guiding drivers. Arrive 45 minutes early for the best spots. We have seen many shows at the theater and have sincerely enjoyed every one. This time we saw "Queen Esther." We had to wait 18 months to see it, and it was outstanding! The costumes were beautiful, (moveable) sets spectacular, and vocals were stellar. The performance was so moving that I had tears in my eyes for most of the show. One has not experienced true artistry unless they have seen a show at Sight & Sound. It is impossible to describe in words alone. Book your tickets and go.

If we could rate this place a 10 we would. We saw "David" for one of my birthday outings. As usual this was phenomenal as any other production there. The special effects are outstanding. There isn't enough you can say besides WOW that was so incredible. Such a great ministry for both the believer and unbeliever to witness. Super job!!!

AMAZING!!!! I cannot imagine how anyone could possibly write a negative review. We were there for the Moses production and on a Friday afternoon. I don't know how many people can be seated in this theater but it was packed. The play was the best thing I've ever seen - and that says a lot since I have seen Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. The music, special effects, and especially the sound was 100% spot on.
There is a couple of snack places for some basics and the smell of roasted almonds is all through the building. Wonderful! It was also amazing how that many people were able to exit the building and parking lot as smoothly as they did.

As usual, the Sight and Sound staff and performers did a wonderful job bringing a Bible story to life. The music was a tad loud (and I like loud music), but otherwise I have only great things to say!

Great show David. Very nicely done! Keeps everyone entertained. So much happening all over. My granddaughters ages 10 and 18 loved it and wants to go back! Very magical!

Show Date : June 28, 2023
The show was excellent and is absolutely a must see for everyone.
TECH : I was more impressed with the sets, lighting, and technical aspects of the show. Amazing use of projection, lighting and special effects that I thought were the best I have seen, even compared to NYC Broadway shows. They really didn't spare any cost into the production end.
MUSIC : The underlying score used during dialogue was good and really contributed to the mood of the scenes. You hardly noticed it and it really captured the mood. The songs itself was ok, not great. At times I think it might have been due to the actors... (More on that next section) But the songs matched well and were really well done.
CAST: I bought the DVD and the current show is a little different at the end and even the casting... In terms of the live show that I saw, the casting for males was excellent and their singing was spot on. The females I was not as impresses and seemed a little weak. I was especially impressed with Pharaoh at Act II. His acting (dialogue), and his singing was just incredible and powerful... Moses was excellent but Pharaoh just took the spotlight in their scene. Overall good casting for Moses and Pharaoh (Act II) and males but the female casting a bit weak.
OVERALL: Ingenious use of tech as I said in the beginning, If you are a tech buff or are in the industry... It is worthwhile to see the show just for the lighting, projection, sets and just overall tech. For entertainment... As a Christian... Yeah you should definitely see this show!

Queen Esther was especially poignant today. All of the performers are so talented. Animals coming down the aisles is always a treat. The use of animal performers enhances the experience as does the use of the stages on the sides of the theater. When they open up it's nearly an immersive experience.

What a great experience! This is our fourth time at the Sight and Sound Theater and we will be back for their next production! The parking is well managed and spacious, the venue is superb, great view from every seat; we were in row 304 HH which I think is the best as it is front row on the mezzanine. Acting and singing is great, love the way they incorporate the animals; and of course the Bible stories are done so well and managed on a stage that is world class! Great experience for the whole family. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful! This theater features Christian based live performances on a wrap around stage. The 3 dimensional screens blend in perfectly with the live performances. We saw Samuel and it was fantastic! Unlike many traditional Broadway shows, they replaced the curtail call at the end with an altar call.... very nice touch.
Note: Until the hotel next door is completely rebuilt from a fire, stay clear. Just my opinion, but they shouldn't be open until construction crews are gone.

We visited Pennsylvania's Sight & Sound's production of Daniel, and it was worth the trip up from Virginia.
The facility is amazing
The production props were realistic
The performers were tremendous
The live animals brought realism
Story line is on point
Easy parking, easy access to seats
.
There are plenty of concessions available.
Biggest draw back is the number of restrooms available... very long lines at intermission.
Looking forward to seeing Noah next year.

Very cool experience. I loved seeing the story of Queen Esther brought to life. I can’t wait to go back and see “David”. My only issue was that roasted almonds are sold in the lobby. As good as it made the lobby smell, I have a tree nut allergy so it made me a bit nervous. If my niece and nephews were there we’d be making a trip to the hospital because just the dust from the almonds would have set off an anaphylactic reaction in theme. Just something to keep in mind for those with allergies.

This production was even better than I had hoped it would be. The mix of video and live performance was amazing. Live animals, video waterfalls--that I still can't figure out, singing, large puppets that were cool. I was blown away by there presentation of David. All my thumbs way up.
The moving stage was beautiful the way scenes changed and morphed. At times it seemed that some things materialized out of thing air.
The interpretation of David's story, and the good acting with appropriate humor and precision. I could not if enjoyed it more. Someone who hates God, or Christian stuff probably will find fault, but I felt all was pulled off very well.
Even a good gospel presentation at the end with and invitation for prayer that was not at all pushy.
WELL DONE!!
Great!!
This is a must see for everyone. A great performance that will leave you breathless. We will come back to the area just for another performance. The theathre is on three sides so all seats are good. I would choose the middle or first row in balcony.
