Park is nice and really relaxing with great location next to the sea. There are plenty of benches to sit and enjoy as well.

beautiful waterfront, nice and relatively quiet compared to the south beach side. parking is a problem.

Its amazing to be there at around sunset time. You can watch the beautiful cruising shops, leaving Miami port, the Fishers Island with the most expensive properties across the canal, and having at the bar outside of a noble restaurant Smith&Wollensky an Aperol or a glass of Champagne watching how the sun goes down-it‘s also something!

This park is so beautiful and peaceful! Whenever we are in Miami, we make sure to stop here. This time we were able to catch the cruise ships depart. The park is kept clean and well manicured. The views are breath taking and unforgettable. It's a must stop anytime you visit Miami.

Layover in Miami and wanted to visit the beach, but evening was rapidly approaching.
Hotel staff suggested this park.
Arrived just at sunset.
Park was well lit and able to access beach easily.
Great walk and experience.

I enjoy this part of Miami Beach as it is away from the crowd and not touristic as the rest of Miami. My family enjoy the park, the restaurant and the children play area. It’s also great for bike ride or just to regain your train of thought. Great on the weekend but you will find that everyone has discovered your secret place.

Play are for kids, splash zone, treed areas, bathrooms, amd then the beach by the ocean with enough waves to body serve. Miles of bike or skateboard paths...

South Point Park has a dog park. Great view of Downtown Miami and the cruise port and you can see the ships sail on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, & Monday. It also has a fishing pier.

Stunning views left and right and a really nice pier at the end of South Beach. Miami City Bike station nearby.

Taking a nice walk along the beach to arrive at South point park surely worth it. The view is amazing.

South Pointe Park is a pleasant green space at the southern tip of Miami Beach. It offers scenic panoramic views of the South Beach shoreline, Port Miami’s cruise ships, the Downtown Miami skyline and Fisher Island. The park has direct access to the beach as well as offering walking trails, picnic and barbecue areas, benches, a cafe, an off-leash dog park, its own 450 ft long pier and a lighthouse. In summary I found it to be an okay place for a relaxing walk in Miami, however I actually preferred walking down Ocean Drive as there was more interesting things to look at and going on.

we really enjoyed this park and especially 5he pier. we saw a school of flying mullet being chased by either porpoises or smaller dolphins. the park is lovely and a great place to relax and take a walk or run.

Pedestrians, bicyclists, dog walkers -- they're all here. Singles, couples, families. Very cosmopolitan. I heard foreign languages, only three of which I recognized (Spanish, German, French). I spend two hours here, walking around, enjoying the view and people watching. It was a lovely day. Temperature in the low 70s at noon. Beautiful views. Social distancing easy to maintain. Bathrooms available.

This park offers it all. You have restaurant options. For kids, there's an excellent playground. The views of the ships coming and going is enjoyable for all. South Pointe Park could be a daily destination...it's really that nice.

Be here at sunset for the best view! This is a wonderful spot for rollerblading and bike riding. More family friendly than sobe.

One of my favorite small parks ! Beautiful strand beach and walkways path along government cut. The added plus of Smith and wolinsky restaurant on the water for sundowner cocktails doesnt hurt!

South Point was very family friendly and the beach was beautiful the water was great. Has a play ground with a splash pad for the little ones. And the best part is when a cruise ship goes by you as you are on the beach.

We always make an effort to get to South Pointe during our annual visit to South Beach. It is easily accessible using the free trolley system. There is a lovely paved path along the channel leading out to the point. There are many open areas where you can rest in the shade or benches to sit by the water. It is a great location to watch boats and cruise ships later in the day. There is a washroom facility and snack bar near the end. If you wish you can connect into the pathways leading to Lummus Park and the Boardwalk.

The best time to visit this place is at the time of sunrise and before sunset and can also enjoy the Miami skyline from this place in the evening.

Best Spot in all of South Beach !! ride a bike down the beach walk in the morning or afternoon , its certainly a must see to relax there

A nice park with high standard. It was really clean and fresh. A good place for working out ot just relaxing. It was really cool to see the cruise ships leaving.

A great place to stroll, exercise, bike ride or take a dog walk. Beautiful and free. Parking is available but limited. Direct beach access and a great fishing Pier overlooking the south beach coastline draw crowds on the weekends. Impressive Cruise ships and container ships passing just a few feet away. Plenty of open green space areas, a water park for children, a snack bar and a tall paved mound/hill offering breathtaking views. Smith & Wollensky restaurant is also here and offers 5 star food and service.

Southe Point Park is a beautiful waterfront park.We walked the trails and found a quiet bench to watch the sunset. We were treated to a spectacular sunset.

We visited this park in our first day of staying in south Beach. We rented some bikes and took a very pleasant ride through this park. We did a quick stop by the beach and enjoyed the amazing views. Highly recommended!

Lovely park at the tip of south beach. Nice walking trails, the pier is relatively new & very nice, great place for a walk.

Good for a walk or morning run. You can enjoy the pretty view of a south beach and also Miami beach building in a distance. On my luck there was a huge barge coming into the port, to make this even more memorable, as if stunning views of the south beach were not enough!

We stayed a few blocks away from here. We made sure to walk down, and check it out. You are right near where the Cruise ships come in, and out of the port area. Such an incredible view. Make sure to check it out if you are in the area.

OMG, absolutely the best view in town. Lots of locals and manicured/maintained area. Fun times and great memories

Everything is there: excellent beach: Caribbean Sea so very warm. Very nice park for children who would like to climb. Walk and sunset. Excellent concentrate from Miami.

This is the perfect place to spend an evening watching the cruise ships leave Miami. They come right past you

It is such a great beach. The sand water people a cool vibe The pier was great you see the boats I enjoyed watching the fisherman

Amazing place to watch the Super Bowl - Martin and Lucchiq were super attentive and very professional! Great drinks and food options - plenty of TVs super great experience. Kuddos to the entire team was executed so well! Love the blankets heater and popcorn what an experience! Thank you.

We walked the length of south beach and ended up in the park quite by chance. It was so relaxing enjoying the October warmth and sea breeze.
A few folks had brought hammocks and strung them between the many palm trees, others were finishing up their afternoon workouts. We sat for a while and just watched the ocean and folks playing on their jet skis (wave runners) at the inlet. There are quite a few places to sit along the walk way. I would imagine it’s a great place for a picnic.
We walked all the way to the end of the little pier where others were fishing. We sat and listened to the power of the ocean and watched the skill of the birds fishing.
Overall it was a great afternoon and the area was so quiet, quite unexpected after the hustle and bustle of ocean drive. We continued our walk down the inlet and stumbled across Monty’s near the marina. Where we stopped for a drink and nachos. (I’ve reviewed that separately if you’re interested.
If you enjoyed my review, please give me a thumbs up. My kids never believe people read them so it’s nice to prove them wrong occasionally.

go to the bars around the south point and take a drink looking the sunset this totally magical nice ambient

Beautiful and comfortable to walk around,or to sit to look at the sea and enjoy, we usually go to see the cruises going out from the Miami port

We were at South Point Park in September and it was a pleasant experience. The place is very beautiful, with a restaurant and even a playground for children. Not to mention the pier, which is beautiful. Worth the visit.

Great energy, lots of fun. Beautiful beaches, geared towards the high energy of Miami. This place is rocking from morning til night!

I visited South Pointe Park twice during my visit to Miami Beach. I walked to South Pointe Park from 46th Street which was about 4.5 miles. There was the South Pointe Park Pier with great views of the Miami Beach skyline and the downtown Miami skyline. The park was a nice place to walk with fountains and sculptures. There was Smith & Wollensky with outdoor seating. South Pointe Park had many photo ops and was a great experience.

It is not in plain sight. The entrance is in the last street before the ocean, between to enourmous buildings. It has a avarage parking lot but I would recommend you leave the car somewhere else and get there walking or by bike. The parking lot might charge a flat rate during the weekends.
It has a playground for kids, and a big park to enjoy the sun and the ocean's fresh air. It has a board walk that goes around the buildings along the water and into the beach.
It is very nice and a great option around South Point.

We walked from our hotel Urbanica The Meridian Hotel, Miami Beach, nice walk. the point was breath taking. the only complaint is that they close a little early for my taste. I would have loved to see the sun set from there.

This place is the most south part of the iconic Miami Beach. The place offers a wonderful park with a big pier extending your view range. The pier offers for recreational fisher man a excelente place to fish. It also offers some benches to take a relaxing time just watching the big boats come in and out. The park it self is well maintained and offers quite a variety of activities.

This place is awesome. Has a very nice walkway overlooking where the cruise ships and container cargo ships exit and enter.
The area also has a children play ground and a small splash park. There are facilities and a walk to South beach and Ocean drive.
There are bike rentals nearby.
Enjoy the view of South beach

We came with but to admire the beautiful sunset with friends in a festive atmosphere, it was great ,

Marvelous morning run in this park and just to go out on South Pointe Pier is just a MUST to do if you are there!! Bring your picknick at night and stars will fall... ;)

Walk, sit, read, or dream. The ocean is fresh, the Miami and Beach skylines are magnificent. Most restaurants are middlin'.Watch the cruise ships slip by. parking can be scarce.

Clean, safe, open pier to walk out and get some pictures of the ocean, Fisher Island, and the beach to the north.

We spent a day in South Beach after a cruise and decided to walk to South Point Pier upon the recommendation of a local.
The views are beautiful. You can see up the coast as well as Biscayne Bay and Miami. It was a Sunday and not very crowded. Some people fishing off the pier.
The park does have vendors and restrooms.

This is as far south you can get on Miami Beach. Here you have a View over to Downtown Miami and you have a view up on Miami Beach. It is a pier yo can walk on and tracks you can take. I will recomend a visit here. Beautiful in the sunset, but also during the daytime.

The best park for the family and pets has a beautiful view you can see the entrance and exit of the cruise ships so well it is a good place to fish

It´s a wonderful place to spend a couple of hours with different environments, all well maintained and clean. Ideal for the whole family. It goes along a canal with wonderful views of
Fisher Islandd and where you can see cruise ships sailing away mainly on the weekend afternoons. It has access to the beach right where South Beach begins! And the best thing: it´s free!

Parking was tough and it was hot. But, the water was turquoise and we had a nice view of Miami Beach. There were clean bathrooms, complementary sunscreen and friendly people. Unfortunately, they clear the pier lock the gates before sunset. It’s a wonderful park to walk in, go biking, swimming at the beach, walking your dog or just plain people watching.

The South point park, as its name says, is at the most southern tip of Miami Beach island. It's a green space across which is the luxurios Fisher island, while across the bay you can see Miami skyline.
The park has many walking paths and if you go further west you'll reach the marina. During our visit many people had their picnic there with kids playing around, so it's a nice family area. The park is also a great sunset spot with excellent views..
If it's a sailing day (mostly Sunday) I'd advise being here late afternoon as huge cruisers will pass right in front of you.
TIP: There's a very big and cheapest parking here, just aside the park. Better park here and proceed on foot if exploring Ocean Dr.

A beautiful and peaceful spot to enjoy nature and stunning views. The park is well-maintained with plenty of walking paths and benches. It’s perfect for a relaxing afternoon or a scenic picnic.
The only downside is that parking can be a bit tricky during busy times. Otherwise, a great place to unwind and take in the surroundings.

I loved watching the dogs walking all around the area and being trained in a group as well in this park. It's a wonderful place to relax and watch the boat traffic as well.

I love to jog on south beach and I usually run from the Hampton inn hotel on 17th street to the south pointed park.

its worth the walk down to the end of south beach to explore the park. Its right on the water where the cruise ships go out from. Its nice there, some open fields, playgrounds, mini water park for the kids. Great place for a sunset picnic.

This was a great spot to just take in views of the water and the beach. People were fishing, sitting, walking, etc. We liked watching the planes take off from the airport.

This park is just like pier.
Here can fishing,but can’t dive.
Many people enjoy fishing.
We could see all Miami Beach!

This hidden gem for incredible pictures
Recommended to go at sun down to capture both light and dark exposure

This is s super park with dog walking, park benches, shady areas, bike paths and more. The pier is beautiful as well.

A lovely area specially for a morning walk, run or just hanging out. Lots of Palm trees and sea grape bushes. Lovely views of the ocean, beach, cruise ships, tall colorful South Point Condos and Fisher Island Condos across the bay. At the east end there's the South Pointe Pier and jetty area, at the west end the walkway around the marina. There's plenty of surface parking specially early in the morning as well as bikes to rent.
The squirting water feature park is a fun one for kids. Smith & Wollensky has a restaurant here overlooking the bay and there's a snack bar as well. Great place to relax when not crowded.

The most beautiful spot in South Beach! Ocean, sand, dinning, exercising, jogging! Mini heaven in Miami

The only problem is finding parking. The lot gets full early and can be pricey, but if you are patient you can find street parking within two or three blocks of the entrance. They have a dog park and several picnic and play areas for the kids as well as public restrooms. You can walk along the breakwaters all the way to the beach and watch the cruise ships enter and leave port. If you choose, you can have cocktails or a fine dinner at Smith and Wollensky's.

This is a gem in south beach. You can see beautiful sunsets and watch ships sail away from here. There’s a running path, beach access and kids play areas.

A waiter recommended this on our last night
If wynwood walls was open then we wouldn’t of had time to come here as well
Great place to stroll and chill
Car park was full though, but it was thanksgiving
Great views of Miami and Miami Beach
Highly recommended

This park is bigger than we realized! We had a great time walking around as the sun was setting. So many great places for pictures. Lots of families enjoying themselves.

If you travel to Miami you must visit this place, it is the southernmost tip of Miami Beach. It has very good space to walk and exercise. The pier is nice and you have a 360° view to take good photos. The sunset in this place is wonderful. It is worth knowing and visiting it.

Have a three-hour wait for Joe's Stone Crabs? While away the hours gazing across the placid waters and be grateful that you are not on one of the gaudy floating norovirus farms heading to the Caribbean. South Pointe Park is calling you....

We stumbled upon this Park looking for Joe's Stone Crab and found it to be a walker's and dog lover's paradise. Clean and on the water.

What a cool pier to go to. A very cool view of Miami Beach, and at the same time pleasant to enjoy the view.
There are some shady benches, on the way there there is a very beautiful space with lots of trees and grass.
There is no charge to access the pier, and it was busy, but not crowded.
I highly recommend it!

We walked along the beach and came to the south point park. The view of the beach, ocean and Miami is incredible from this spot.
I imagine it would be a great place to watch the cruise ships leave from.

My husband and son found this park while on scooters. When they came back to the condo my husband said he couldn’t believe we walked past it on so many of our evening walks. The next evening we walked there and it is absolutely beautiful. No bums, or riff raff. So quiet. Watched dogs and kids play. Cruise ships go by. There were tons of cats by a restaurant that all looked very well fed. This would be a beautiful place for a wedding.

You can watch the cruise ships taking off from the pier in this park. There is a concourse for walking/skateboarding that runs along the southern edge of the park.

South Pointe is a place full of activities for the family. You can rent a bike, walk on the pathways, go to the beautiful beach, have a nice vision of downtown Miami from a far distance and also see many guys doing water sports with jet-skis. It's very pleasant. There are also a bunch of restaurants around, so you can spend some hours there. Be careful, parking is not easy.

We walked to this park and it was really nice. It has a pier that one could fish from. It's a great spot for picture taking. It has a playground and a spray park.

This is a perfect place to jogg to. You can do a lot of outdoor training here. If you bring kids there is a lot for them to enjoy. Very clean area.

When staying anywhere in Miami Beach, a visit to South Point Park is a must. The park is beautiful and the views breathtaking. You get a vista view of the port, the beach, the city landscape.

Watching the sunset from the pier is a very pleasant experience. The area is very nice and nearby there is possibility of parking. Public toilets and from there you can easily reach South Beach.

Excellent boardwalk with views of the ocean and many marinas. Place along route to get a snack or a meal. SPent a pleasant few hours walking the boats, the waves and the people. Less crowded that the Boardwalk at South Beach - this seemed to actually have some locals, not all tourists which was nice (for us tourists!!!!!!)

If your hotel is close to the south end, I would highly recommend that you visit South Pointe Park. Head out to the point!

We loved picking up a healthy breakfast or lunch and bringing it to the park. We loved all the cute and sweet dogs being walked. We had so much fun here on our vacation.

Nice walk through the park and beautiful views from the pier.
Perfect way to spend our last few hours in South Beach.

Plenty of walkways and lots of shade as well as clean grass lawns make this a pleasant place to stop and rest. Nice place to take a break from the beach. Nice for a stroll in the evening. Playground area, too. A pier juts out along the main shipping channel to the Port of Miami, so you can view everything from small watercraft to large cruise ships going by. The park appeared clean and well maintained.

We stayed in a beach front hotel and we will run every morning to South Pointe Park! is beautiful and the perfect place to relax

Beautiful spot to visit and take in the southern end of Miami Beach and the main ship channel going into Miami’s harbor. You definitely want to be there in late afternoon to watch the cruise ships leave. Finally, be sure to go out on the breakwater pier. Lots of fishing and even better views.

This was a lovely park to walk through and sit and enjoy the fantastic views if offers. Lots of families relaxing here and all having a great time in the sun.

This was a nice place to visit. The views were wonderful and everyone was accepting of each other, no matter your race or orientation.

We rented Citibikes from upper South Beach and rode the bicycle path down to this park. It was a beautiful ride, well worth checking out.

This is probably the best beach to visit with your family. The parking was reasonably price for 24 hours. The beach front was spacious and it has an amazing pier on this sight. You also have an area for children to play in water mist, bathroom accommodations, an onsite restaurant, and refreshments you can purchase.

Lovely park on the bay, ending in a really cool pier and great beach. Bring lunch and spend the day relaxing. Also a water splash pad and playground for kids, and restrooms.

It is a beautiful walk. The day we were there recently, the water was crystal clear like a swimming pool. No mask needed at all. You could look through the water to the saline at the bottom. There are interesting sculptures, a great dog park that should be fenced in because of the escaping canine's and the canine police after the owners. Pretty entertaining to watch.

This park isn't as large as Lummus. It's mainly a great place to go to see the ocean or to fish from the pier.
There are also places right around where you can set up a picnic right by the water.
Or you can rent bikes for a while.
Beautiful.

South Pointe Park on the edge of the South Beach deco row was a great place to enjoy the beautiful Miami sunset. Friendly people gather to enjoy the close of the day. Lovely place.

So.. this pier is really nice, with a beautiful park at it's entrance. The pier is situated where all the big cruise ships pass by on their way out to the Atlantic. I suggest you go there in the evening hours to watch a few make their way out. Made me anxious to be on mine the next day! Not much more to do here than look around and take pictures, but I recommend going.

Highly recommended amazing experience with this team
Good people and timely communication with their customers.
…..

Beautiful place to hangout with friends with lot of restaurants opened till very late. Spent morning in beach which is perfect to get into water and spend some time. Spent evening and late night roaming around bars. Perfect place to kill time with friends and family.

We stayed at a Marriott Stanton which is only two blocks from Southpoint Park.
It’s a fairly long walk from the edge of the the channel where all the large crew ships and cruisers come in and out all the way to the marina. But don’t hesitate to stop at Smith and will Linsky for a drink and just hang out sitting on the rocks if you can’t get a table right away. It’s the best place to watch the sunset.
Then after you eat, walk down to the marina to see all the amazing large boats and cruisers. You can also see the condos from Fisher Island. There’s several other places to eat along S. Pointe Park De. If you walk all the way to the end of second St and Alton rd., you’ll find Monty’s outdoor restaurant to watch sunset.
Many very expensive high rise towers and condos here.
We always felt safe walking anywhere at night up to 14th street. I have walked by myself in evening and always felt safe with so many people out.
Also walking distance up Ocean Dr. to Art Deco district where all the action is (7-14th).

It is a large park with different attractions, you can spend some time on the beach and then walk and see the yachts entering through the canal, ending up having dinner in one of the restaurants that are nearby. I recommend it 100%.

We got there early in the morning around 9 & there was nobody there so we had the beach to ourselves for a few hours. The water & beach area is GREAT! We had several kids with us & there is a huge area where they could go out into the water & still touch. The swimming area is very large! There was a lot of seaweed that had washed up on the beach that was a bit annoying, but overall, it was a great place to go with the kids & the view was beautiful!

This is great location to see the downtown Miami skyline in the distance light up a sunset. The portion of the park that faces east towards downtown Miami really comes alive with a unique energy at sunset-- probably because of the amazing views of the downtown skyline and even the cargo and ship docks in the bay. Daytime or sunset, it's a busy place that offers amazing views and great people watching. Highly recommended to at least plan a quick stroll through this park on your visit to Miami Beach.

This beach was recommended to us as being child friendly. I can understand and agree that it is appropriate for children in the sense that children would not be exposed to situations beyond their years which may be different I other areas. This being said I would not call it child friendly because there are no restrooms no showers to speak of except the very small place to spray your feet as you leave the beach. This is a busy place, no doubt thousands of people congregate there on a beautiful day, all of them trying to stay hydrated, no toilet in sight.... what does that say about the water being sanitary? The water was very warm (I would guess about 88 degrees)there was some seaweed but nothing significant that would take away from the pleasure of being there.
Parking can be problematic particularly on weekends, try to beat the crowd, get there early and if you cannot get a spot at the Park, park near Washington avenue where you can find parking for about 20$ if you are a bit lucky.

One of the most beautiful parks I have ever been to . When the cruise ships sail off from Miami you ban see them from this park . They are Yuge !

What a lovely park this is! Stretching along the cruiseliner inlet and going to the point beyond the beach, it is a delight to stroll through. Easy to get to on the bus.

South Pointe Park is a very nice place to go for a walk, or ride a bike, take a rest or even take the kids to play. There's a nice playground for them and a wet area, good to cool off.
It's even a great spot to take amazing pictures. I would recommend to come by in time to watch the sunset.

Lovely place for a morning walk. Look out at the view the sea the beach the palms the skyline. Very relaxing area of this busy little sand spit.

South Pointe converted is a very attractive tourist spot in Miami, you can reach the pier where Miami Island ends, with rest of quality and trees and one of the best beaches next to the stone sea wall.

Best free experience in Miami. Breathtaking views at every turn. If you're into people watching this place is gold!!!! It's so beautiful, lots of room. A great place to picnic and watch a sunset. Going at subsist, go at sunset, go for a mid day walk. This place is magical

Nice spot for watching the sundown in combo with the departures of the cruiseships or just lettisk the kids run wild in the park or on the nearby beach

Quiet park, nice views, clean bathrooms. Beach was pretty. However, parking was limited unless you did valet.

The park is beautiful. I highly recommend it. Go early because it's hard to find parking.
The views from the Park are dreamt of. The sunset from there is a story. Walk the walkways up and down and you reach the beach and the lighthouse. We saw a huge Virgin cruise ship leave and you can almost touch it. That place in Miami is so cool. Don't miss it!

I love South Pointe Park - it’s an excellent spot to see passing ships and do sports or just chill out. People are having picnics under the trees and others are doing yoga. All in all a great place to visit every time I am in town.

This is a nice place to visit while in Miami. The lighthouse is very pretty, it looks like something you would find in an art museum. South Pointe Park Pier is very rocky, but it is worth a visit as the views are nice. There is a lovely boardwalk to walk on. There is a play area for children, and a little shops selling snack with toilets nearby. Also lots of areas to exercise in groups. There was plenty of seating areas.

South Pointe Park is at the end of south beach in Miami. Nice peaceful area and great place to walk and relax. Worth a visit.

We had a few hours to kill so we took a stroll along the boardwalk down to South Pointe Park. It boasts lovely views of the city and Biscayne Bay. Worth the time if you have it!

Loved South Pointe Park! The views are great, especially if you walk down to the end of the pier. There is also a marina with many beautiful boats. I recommend stopping at one of the restaurants for waterfrtont dining. I could spend hours at the park, admiring the ocean, eating and waving to those aboard the cruise ships passing by.

We went here midway through our trip then went back the day of our departure, since we had a late flight. It's a great place to people watch, but also has spectacular views of the water and cruise ships as they sail out since the port is very close by. The time flew by while we were there. Very serene and all you pay for is parking. Speaking of, it is a pain to find parking. Public parking was completely full, so the second time around, we had to circle around a few times to find a parking spot, but it was well worth it.

Very nice park to visit by the marina. it's very quiet. It is an upscale neighborhood of South Beach but you can find small restaurants not too expensive

Nice park with some excellent views but huge crowds. Go elsewhere unless you love mobs of people and little privacy.

I discovered this park when I was walking on my morning beach walk watching the Sunrise beautiful the ocean view was spectacular it seamed like you were at the end of the most southern end of the beautiful beach

Whether you want to walk your dog, exercise, go to the beach or have an evening stroll - you should go there if you are in Miami. Very clean, open park.

South Pointe Park was one of the highlights of my couples trip to South Beach. I could spend all day lounging around the park, watching the ships roll by and the jet skis jump in their wake. Highly recommend renting a citi bike and biking around the park.

This is a multipurpose park where people can go for a walk, sit around, have lunch, sleep in comfortable "Canoes", roller skating and from there you can reach the beach. at the end of the day even people meditate at sunset. Highly recomended!

More of the same in terms of the beach, but it amazed me how the water down here was clean and blue and clear..... like in the Caribbean..... like it should be. The water changes within 10 streets to the north and by the time you get to Lummus Park Beach, you might even feel different about going for a swim.
Great place for a bike ride or holding hands, catching rays or even snorkeling.

If you go there, do visit the pier!!! Our great guide from city tour in an antique car told us about it. So many places we saw that without them we wouldn t have known about. This pier is super cool and the park has Amazing views of the port of Miami. We even got to see one of the big cruiseliners pass by!!! Impressive. If you like steaks, they have a great place down there. Sunset is really cool too. We spent a bit there and loved it!!!

The South Pointe Park is a popular park for local residents and tourists. When we visit during a Monday afternoon, we found the parking lot to be very crowded, but we did secure a parking spot. The parking fee is charged by the hour (USD 2 per hour, with 15 min incremental), make it a pretty good option for a drop by visit. The park has a popular long stretches of beaches (though the sand quality is a little bit subpar compared with the beaches at the Gulf of America side), and is a popular spot to view big cruiseship set sail from Miami Cruise Terminal.
Traffic to and from South Pointe Park is usually very heavy. So you may want to leave ample time for the trip.

Good place to watch the sunrise. As well as the park, there is a pier with a good view of both Miami Beach and the cruise ships sailing by.

This is a great area to walk, watch, exercise, picnic, chill out. Right on the ocean with a nice little pier, some lovely grassed and treed areas this is a great place to hang out. Very well maintained with easy access places to sit and enjoy the world go by. There are also plenty of places to grab a drink or a bite to eat and toilet facilities. If the sun is out spend some down time here.

Nice park on the water in Miami Beach. At the entrance we were "greeted" by some water sprays, we then walked along the water and we passed by a famous restaurant while on the other side a cruise ship was sailing out of Miami terminal. It seems a beautiful place where to bring your family and children.

South Pointe Park is located at the south end of Miami South Beach.... on a non cloudy day we can enjoy nice sunrise here, as well as to relax enjoying the waves and the beach...
Surrounding it there are nice park, as well as restaurants and hotels.
A good place to relax and stroll around while in Miami beach....

Worth going. This park has playground for kids, ice creams, great views of the Miami port, direct access to south beach and a beautiful view of south beach from the top of the pier

South Point Park is beautiful and perfect for watching the sunset. My boyfriend and I stayed there several times during our 10 day stay and loved the atmosphere. People do sports, dance, are artistically active, fish or sit comfortably at a picnic - it seems very boisterous and peaceful. Those who love dogs will love this place even more! Cute dogs are running everywhere and there is a separate run-out zone for the mice. 🥰🐶

Nice peaceful walks and lots of big cats , A nice place for biking and walking . I seen people exercise and yoga .

With its new pier this is one of the most photogenic venues I’ve visited. Great views of Miami Beach and the Port of Miami with its cruise ships too.

Extremely clean and well maintained park with exceptional ocean views. Also excellent views of the Miami skyline.
Great place for a stroll along the water or out the pier.
Was lucky enough to see a cruise ship pass by, along with much other boating traffic.
Also was very entertained by a bird of some kind that was fishing for its meal.
Parking limited and expensive like most places in this area.
All in all a fantastic experience!

Walk around south point and go to the pier at the end of the walk is worth it ! the views on the beaches and the skylines are beautiful ;; a must

This is one of the best places to sit back and people watch. Its a very nice park to walk along the inlet, enjoy the water, sunsets and all which brings out everyone from all nationalities, half the people were speaking foreign languages. We saw a photo shoot of some Hot Super Model along the Rocks at sunset. Some Rapper looked like he was having a video shoot for his music. I have visited alot of beaches but Miami take the title for “Thong City” We saw lovers having romantic dates with a bottle of wine and a blanket watching the sunset. We saw half naked hookers or whatever. Lots of people from everywhere all with one common goal of enjoying a nice evening out and unforgettable sunsets of Miami. Also enjoyed the Christmas lights, color changing water fountain and light house.

I used this as my destination since it happened to be about 5 km from our hotel, giving me a nice 10K morning jog. I took a few minutes to walk around the pier and the park, and it was all very nice around 7 or 7:30 am. The only problem is that I wasn't able to stay longer since I needed to run back to the hotel.
In any case, take a camera if you go around sunrise. There are cool views of both the beach and Miami's skyscrapers in the distance.

Lovely place, nice views of Miami.
Some building work going on close to the area, so can be awkward to get to the pointe, so walk along the beach/ beach path

Take the free bus from South Beach and then enjoy a stroll past the lovely boats in the marina (and watch the cruise and container ships passing by.

What a great beach to visit. Crystal clear water and nice powdery beaches. Can't wait to come back for another visit!

Peaceful place to visit 24/7 with cool lights at night and a beautiful sunset! Hang your hammocks and watch slack linners and hula hoopers. Great for picnics, riding bikes, running, etc. Trail is always clean and there's even a playground for kids.

You must visit this spot during your South Beach vacation. Rent a Citi Bike for a couple of hours and ride around..it's worth it. Pack some drinks and/or food and head down there for the best sunset South Beach can offer. You wont be disappointed.

a triangular walk south of South Beach showcases the island, the city and the ocean and harbor. A lot of native birds can be seen, the vegetation is interesting, the tall city buildings off to your right and later a pier walk that jets out into the ocean. Feral cats relax here, some restaurants and ends up with the rather large marina. A nice stroll and it's free.

Very nice park--we saw many tropical fish swimming around. Very clean and nice that it had public restrooms. There's a wet park with sprinklers to walk or stand in for young and old.

I was pleasantly surprised by this large and beautiful park. I was greeted with impressive views of South Beach high-rises, the Miami skyline, and huge condos on Fisher Island. It was obviously the place to be on a Saturday afternoon. It was busy, but not at all packed, with people enjoying birthday parties on the grass, fishing on the pier, or cruising by on boats and jet skiis. The only place to eat I noticed in the park was the reknowned and upscale Smith and Wollensky steakhouse, which was doing a brisk business. The park is only steps away from the end of the boardwalk and Loomis beach. It is also handy to a number of popular and historic restaurants, all south of 5th.

Good park to visit, the parking is very challenging, meter and city parking!!. The park is good to spend a few hour with family, area has near by restaurant like Joe Stone Crab and other.

Miami Beach is a paradise and South Pointe Park epitomizes the splendor. Bike, walk and soak in the sun and sand every day you are fortunate to be there from your winter hibernation.

This place is really nice to spend a few hours walking. Beautiful views of downtown Miami, the bay and beaches. Very dog, kid, people friendly. I believe you can take the Miami Beach Boardwalk straight into this park which is the southern most point of Miami Beach. Great restaurant located right in the park. Smith and Wollensky. On Sunday around 430-5 you can watch all the cruises depart out to the Caribbean.

This is a must visit when you travel to Miami Beach; cruises usually pass through around 5 to 6pm everyday leaving the bay, as well there is a marina in the nearby where yatchs and jet ski can be rented. The walk path looking downtown Miami; the Continous buildings, the sea, the sand and the gardens from this community is breathtaking. There is a bar in the pathway; a bit expensive but very trendy with outdoor tables. If you like to jog; bike ; walk your dog or have a nice walk; you have to spend at least an hour here.

Awesome Park nestled in an undisturbed area of Miami Beach called South Point. Exercise, Bike, Jog, Walk or whatever tickles your fancy in the isolated park! Even a mini water park that everyone can enjoy (especially the young at heart)! Bring your pick-nick snacks and make it a day or enjoy the mini cafeteria on site. Bring water as it does get warm! Later enjoy the restaurant: Smith & Wollensky thru their park-side table seating viewing the Gorgeous cruise ships as they depart! GetSome!!

I have visited this park two times while in Miami and would like to come back again.
First of all, it's very quite, clean and calm place for jogging, reading, relaxing, fishing or just walking.
Next to the Park there is access to Miami Beach, so in alternative you can take sun right on the beach.
Panoramic place, from here you can see Miami Downtown and Miami Skyline, don't forget your photocamera at sunset and enjoy !

The best place for a sunset stroll or a cute beach day. The park is very clean and there is a nice pier.

This is one of the best places to park to watch the sunrise! The parking lot is always clean, and it’s very close to Lincoln Road!

This park is very relaxing and well layout. Good for walking cycling running and just relaxing. The beach is one of my favourite in Miami as well

Excellent place to rest, enjoy the beach, play sports (track before the beach for walking, running, cycling, etc., with points with gym equipment, courts, playground for children, public bathroom, shower points and water to drink) , place on the beach sand with a harder surface for running, very clean beach, excellent pier for fishing (it even has spouts for cleaning fish and other things). At night enjoy the bars and restaurants. Tip, if you want to save on food, Walgreens and CVC (pharmacies) and Publix Super Market have ready-made meals ranging from 3 to 7 dollars, which you can heat in the hotel's microwave. A blue trolley (bus) passes by every Solthbeach, which is free.

We were staying in South Beach, on Ocean Drive, and a local told us about this beautiful park just 1.3 miles away and accessible by foot or free trolley. Beautiful beach, seaside promenade, pier and views of Miami and South Beach.

This place is absolutely stunning. While walking down the beach, it's a big plus to make a stop here to view the huge yachts, houses and a beautiful view of the clear blue ocean. Mind that it's more or less a viewing point rather than an actual park.

love that my dog could come, $20 weekend parking is a little steep but its Miami and it was sooo hot!

I friend of mine who lives in Miami took me to this awesome area. Lots of people hanging around, taking pictures or just watching the beautiful landscape. Really nice place.

This point of the Florida Peninsula extends into the Caribbean Sea, a land of expansive green spaces shaded by palm trees between the Bay of Biscayne and the Crystal Blue Sea, deep sandy beaches, and elevated condos. The miles of uninterrupted Miami Beach along the Atlantic coast, and the Atlantic Walk, Borad Walk, Ocean Walk hike is the end of the jogging trails at Piere. From there, a return to the Biscayne Coast begins..And the sea here is clearer, calmer, blueer, and lesser.

The short pier at the end of the park looks new and is in a neat place right on the corner of the ocean and the shipping channel into Miami Port. Excellent for views of downtown Miami, for people watching those on South Beach, or watching fishing from the pier. Great spot to relax for 15 minutes or so taking in the views.

Went to South Pointe Park to see sunset and also had a nice walk around. People had yoga in the park and lot´s of dog walkers also around. Really chill and cozy feeling. Recommend to visit by the sunset.

South Pointe Park is on Miami Beach, its a walking beach, well maintained. Its highlight are the views, Sun Up and Sun Down.

Miami Beach where you can see the colorful lifeguard cabins and take beautiful photos. It is the southernmost and best known beach of all Miami beaches

This is one of my favorite family friendly places to hang out in South Beach. You can walk to it via the boardwalk (which doesn't yet run the whole length but will do soon). When the boardwalk runs out, just talk the gravel path behind the hotels and keep walking. We like the beach best at the Pointe -- where you can snorkle and enjoy. There is small cafe and restroom facilities in the park as well as a kiddie park.

Great beach, great water temps, nice relaxing crowd, relaxing atmosphere. You can also watch cruise liner exiting atlantic ocean. D

well maintained, clean, great for walking dogs, biking, or just walking along the jetty. Nice to stop at S&W for a drink while out in the afternoon.

This is a nice park with a great view of the buildings in downtown Miami across the water. It is a nice place to just hang out and watch the world go by. Locals come on their bikes to sit on the benches and people watch. Of course there is a large selection of restaurants on the streets nearby.
I was there at sunset and enjoyed watching the clouds and people having a good time on the lawn. While it was still light, I took a dip in the waves and took a took advantage of the public open air showers afterwards.
The free South Beach (sobe) trolly serves South Point Beach.

amazing spot on the beach recomended by my server, its the edge of south beach and you can see the cruises coming in and out, just lovely

The area is really scenic and you are actually allowed to fish at the pier, you can take really good photos there

Other than the grumpy, inflexible beach umbrella guy, we very much enjoyed the beach and the ocean here. Very shallow waters and beach was clean. We had out refreshments and got an umbrella and spent about 3 hours hanging out. Was not crowded as it was a Friday; beachgoers were quiet and noise was very minimal. Showers to wash off could be better but they were almost adequate. I think anyone who just wants a beach experience in Miami would enjoy this spot.

This park is world class. You truly feel like you are part of the Miami Beach scene. I now know why so many people love this city. The views from all of the walkway are amazing!

The park is a good place for a lot of activities. You see families lounging around athletic people exercising., children playing. At the end of the park is the start/ or the end of Miami Beach.

Nice place to spend some walking time, and watching swimmers, people jumping off the pier , and all the boats and if ur lucky the big ships, going out or coming in.
Great kids play spot with water sprayers, and bars to climb

Lovely well organized park (off the leash dog areas, lots of paths, etc) at end of Miami Beach from beach to marina. Great views across water and to docks for container ships, cruise ships and yachts.

This park offered fantastic views of the Miami skyline, and the Christmas lights and lighted infinity fountains made it fantastic wherever you looked. What a great touch in a lovely part of South Beach!

Great views of the beach and ocean from the pier. It's a quiet beautiful place to walk and take pictures.

This is the southern-most part of Miami Beach and it's now filled with huge high-rise condos and apartments. This may so d unappealing but the construction and architecture are beautiful. From the park you can see the gorgeous Fisher Island, which is where some of the wealthiest people in the US have residences. It must be prestigious as the only way to access the island is by ferry and have advance permission from a resident!

I was excited to see sunrises in Miami in the mornings and the beach did not disappoint. I did not do any research regarding South Pointe Park, so I was very pleasantly surprised when I realized we could also see sunsets in Miami. I’ve seen many many sunsets, but not very many over a city skyline. Memorable and beautiful.

Perfect Pier covers South Beach vibes. I would recommend after a long beach day stay Herr to see sundown. If you like fishing it's a good option too.

Easy to get too on the Trolley Bus . Near 1st street at bottom of Washington street. But also big car park. Nice and peaceful park and beach with pier. Also some nice restaurants near by.
In the park you can see across to downtown. Some wonderful lizards badkung on the rocks. But I have a fear of snakes and we saw large racer snakes. They were just chilling near the rocks but it put us on tenterhooks because we are terrified of snakes. They are non venomous but can bite . I'm not sure if any other snakes around the park.
Small cafe near kids water park. Drink prices very good and it did snacks like empanada.
Beach here lovely. Very quiet. Mainly families. But we stayed on pier as we were worried after seeing the snake.
Plenty of people sunbathing on lawns or kids playing in park so nice relaxing spot if you ok with snakes

After dining at S&W walked the inlet waterfront to enjoy the sights. A family friendly park , with facilities that leads to a nice beach area and fishing pier. From the pier end looking back at the Miami Beach shoreline and skyline worth some nice photos.
John & Sandy Thomas
Brooklyn , NY

Beautiful view of south beach, theres a pier, a park, walk up to the marina, etc. I walked there every morning for some exercise while staying at the Hilton. People working, out fishing, sunbathing, filming commercials, its a great photo spot too.

Once a run-down patch of land that was a home to police horse stables and vagrants, South Pointe Park has been converted into a 17-acre urban park featuring an ocean-themed children's playground, a dog park, a 522-foot wooden boardwalk over the area's last natural sand dune, picnic pavilions, fitness courses, two restaurants, even outdoor showers. Perhaps best of all, it offers two observation towers that provide visitors with panoramic views of Biscayne Bay, Fisher Island, the Atlantic Ocean and downtown Miami. Located at 1 Washington Avenue at the southernmost point of Miami Beach's bustling South Beach neighborhood, it opened in 1985 as Miami Beach's 19th public park but it wasn't until a $22.5 million renovation and redesign program in 2008 and 2009 that South Pointe Park became a go-to destination for locals and tourists. One of the most significant additions were 20-foot-wide walkways lined with Florida limestone and a children's playground featuring a Splash Pad for kids to run in the cool water. It's a great place to stroll, job, exercise, bike ride, picnic, walk your dog or bask in the sun. There are lots of grassy knolls, shady palm trees and walking trails. If you are more adventurous, you can go surfing, kayaking or fishing.

This is a terrific park. At sunset on times when the cruise boats take off it’s magical. A lot of folks gather and there is a kids park nearby.

South Point is a good walking area, plus it offers easy access to a fantastic beach. The views are very nice, ie., Miami, Miami Beach, the ocean, etc. The park is well maintained.

This is a really nice park with plenty to do. There is adequate shade and places to have a picnic lunch and also open areas where you can throw a ball or just hang out. When we were there we saw plenty of people riding bikes, jogging, playing frisbee, and catch, but also families relaxing with their pets. There are bathroom facilities and also a fountain area where you can cool off. There is a nice pier nearby where you can have a good view down South Beach and also of the beautiful blue water. I don't know how successful they were but there were people fishing from the pier. Beach access is very convenient if you want to spend some time on the beach. My husband and I enjoyed walking on the beachfront path between the dunes and the buildings instead of walking down the beach but there were several beach access points along the way. The path only goes several blocks (to Marjory Stoneman Douglas Ocean Beach Park near 2nd street) but they are working on making it longer. We spent some time on the beach and were pleased that it wasn't as crowded at this end. The further north you go the more crowded the beach is. It's a nice way to enjoy South Beach without being in the middle of all of the activity.

The place is so nice, clean and great for picnic. The scenery is pretty. We can watch the cruises, boats, and jets ski from the park. Relaxing and picnic with friends and family. And close to the beach. Just bring the mat and your favorites to enjoy the day. You will love it.

In the morning, there are not too many people. It is great. Nice view here. People do exercise there. It is clean with fresh air. It is a nice place to go.

Loved walking around this beautiful park. Family friendly and lots to do from riding bikes to watching the people on the jet skis. Food Truck located at entrance for refreshments and small concession stand within the part.

This is where the channel for the port of Miami starts and ends for the big ships, mostly cruiselines. The point is well developed with grass and very wide walking pathways. Since most cruises depart the port in the evening, it is a great location to see the ship(s) depart.

We loved spending time here in the shaded playpark and splash park. The gardens are nicely kept and it’s just a two minute walk to Miami Beach. Nice little window serving coffees, smoothies and popsicles and decent restrooms for changing etc. Imagine it’s also lovely at sunset. Wen we were there there was a great saxophone player in the park which added to the atmosphere. Loved it.

My daughter and I had such a great time spending the whole day enjoying the beach and watching the cruise boats pass by. There’s also a beautiful park, where you can ride your bikes and a breathless pier.

We took the free trolley and walked to the park. There were several cruise ships docked in the bay. There is a pier as well where you can walk out.

Go for a walk far from the hassle of South Beach. Exercise and watch the cruise ships pass by. Great use of space from the city of Miami Beach.

It is a public park located on the southern tip of Miami Beach Island from where you can appreciate the start of the famous beach of the same name and the departure of cruise ships from the port of the city.

Recommended by the tour guide, it definitely met the hype around it. Surrounded by water from 3 directions out of 4, it's an absolute oasis in Miami Beach.

This is an area that is well worth seeing and truly relaxing. Very well kept gardens. Fantastic boats and boardwalk. Little quieter than the South Beach area.

I liked walking on the pathway starting from ocean drive and then following along the beach all the way down to South Pointe, perfect also for a nice and easy jog. The view there is quite spectacular.

A nice park, great for cycling and walking. You can walk to the pier to have a great view of the city.

This is a beautiful area to walk nice parks and beaches great views over the sea.Their is a nice pier to walk along with nice views back over the beach and surrounding areas.

This is a great spot to adore the sun, beach and nature. With a great view and nice happy people around! You don’t wanna miss it! Enjoy it,

I love this beautiful public park, with its lush greenery and trees. A great place to relax and watch all the boat activity.

South Pointe Park is a great area to walk around at the end of South Beach. I especially enjoyed it in the evening around sunset. It has great views of the water and the city.

So glad we made the trek to this park. Beautiful place for walking, biking and dog walking. Amazing views especially at sunset. Walkways, grassy areas, little nooks and crannies to explore, watch the yachts and cruise ships coming in and out of the port. Beautiful fountains lit up at night. From there we started our journey up Ocean Drive where the neon and nightlife come alive. Great time.

South Pointe is very peaceful. It is great to go for a walk, bike around of just sit on the grass / on the beach. If you go early on: it is a beautiful spot to see the sunrise and start the day off great!

Breathtaking view a must so relaxing the boardwalk is long there is even a little water park for kids

Not much to do but look out onto water with some boats. Nice place to cool off. There are some benches and statues but not much else.

You can bicycle all the way down the "boardwalk" (actually a stone pathway) for miles to South Pointe park. Really lovely, although watch out for pedestrians, crazy bikers.

Really a nice park for a quiet walk with a view on Miami! Lovely pier from which you can gaze at sunsets, the infinite snow white sandy beach of Miami Beach ❤️

This park is so beautiful and goes all the way from the ocean around the inlet and to the marina. It has always a nice atmosphere and best sunsets. You see all the yachts driving and and out between the inlet and Fisher Island. And always a nice brease at the evening.

It's a lovely park at the very south pointe (haha) of South Beach. Nothing fancy or huge, but a nice little walk worth. There are some nice restaurants nearby and it has a pretty and romantic pier to walk on. Worth a visit!

Quieter at end of island, but not too far from everything else. Easily accessible via the free Miami Beach Loop bus.

This is a great destination for a walk on the beach. If you are lucky you may even see a cargo or cruise ship arriving into Port Miami, which is very neat! If you are in the South Beach area, this is definitely worth checking out!

Total relaxation... I could walk, talk, sit, take pics and just view all the beauty that comes with SOUTH POINT PARK every day of ones life. This is a must do place to see everytime I come to visit family in MIAMI. I always feel like I'm in PARADISE here.

Love this beach! Yes, there’s beautiful people here, but without the glitz of South Beach. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here

I'm very impressed by how clean the public parks and boardwalks are in Miami, and South Pointe Park is no exception. It was pleasant to sit at the pier and admire the surroundings.

South Pointe Park is my favorite park in Miami by far.
I usually come here on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon to unplug, go for a walk, enjoy the ocean views, spotting the container and/or cruise ships going in and out, have a picnic at either the Hills or around the lighthouse grounds, etc.
I just love it, just wished it were closer to me.

Peaceful Park, well maintained. Nice pier, nice beach. Ice cream shop and rest rooms.
What's not to like?!

You view where the cruise ships moor, along with a view of Fischer Island and many luxo condominium buildings. It's a nice paved and grassy pathway as a long narrow park. Check out the pier that stretches about 200 yards into the ocean.

This is a local gem! The pier juts out over the water. You get a great view from here. The beach is clean, without a bunch of seaweed washed ashore. There is a barrier of large stones that stretches beyond the pier. In theory, no one is supposed to climb on it. In actuality, people swim over to it and perch. There is a kiddie playground nearby. There's also a restaurant, an ice cream shop, and plenty of green space to walk around or play. Parking can be tricky. There is a pay lot near the restaurant, but at peak times you'll need to drive around until you find something or you can park a little farther away.

This park is perfect for families visiting Miami. The Pier is long, and it was cool to be able to walk out to the end. Excellent view of the port and the boats passing by. Sometimes a cruise ship would pass by and everybody on the beach would wave and cheer at the people on the ship who were also waving and cheering. The beach was very clean and when we went in the late afternoon it was not too crowded. There are walking trails near the pier and the beach if you want to walk around or ride a bike. There was also a playground and splash pad for the kids. The bathrooms were alright and there was a small shop selling snacks and drinks. I would visit this beach again next time I am in Miami.

We had a blast riding our bikes down to the point
Great people watching, sunsets and an opportunity to watch cruise ships leaving port
No need for a tour - just enjoy

Probably my favorite spot in South Beach. A lovely small park with beautiful views. Somehow it felt a little removed from the hubbub to me. Don't miss it.

sit on the waterfront and watch the cruise ships depart every evening - lovely. also watch the crazy local kids jump off the pier into the sea. all good fun. nice place to wander

We stumbled upon South Pointe Park while taking a speedboat ride and decided we had to visit before we left Miami. And I must say, this has to be one of my favorite relaxing places in Miami. We visited at sunset and everything about it was perfect. The ocean, the rocks...the entire atmosphere. I will never come to Miami again without stopping here. My place of tranquility and relaxation in such a busy city. South pointe park owes me nothing!!!! Don’t believe me? Check it out for yourself!

long walk to get to the pier, and parking is a bit iffy. Not much else there. Probably better with ships passing.

Excellent place for exercising! Biking walking or running paradise! Next to the ocean and beach . Beautiful views . Delicious food options around. Kids friendly, pet friendly , dog designated trail , it's great for family, romance , business any type of occasion. Sunsets and full moons are gorgeous at this spot.

Great destination to experience the true natural beauty of South Beach. The Pier provides you a view of the channel where boats go in and out of the harbor. During early mornings and afternoons Cruise ships usually are going in and out.

Are just amazing! We went on a windy day so there were surfing waves and it maybe made the views even more spectacular. Recommend a visit.

Nice park if you want to walk o just ride a bike this is the place you can see the most wonderful sunset on Miami landscape I will come back

I loved this beach. I got up really early so that I could see the sunrise and then stayed for a few hours. I loved just listening to the sound of the ocean. It's a beautiful beach to people watch too. I saw many people going for mornings as the morning wore on. I hope they realise how fortunate they are to have such a wonderful place to exercise in the morning. It was absolutely beautiful.

Visited here to watch the cruise ships depart. Beautiful park with restaurants and restrooms. Conveniently located near south beach. A must visit.

We arrived at this panoramic point on Miami Beach after a nice walk along the boardwalk, from Espanola Way via Ocean Drive. Very well kept and full of greenery. I recommend doing this route.

Very nice surprise and a haven for picknick , family life, swimming and so on. Very good environment around this area nowadays

So different from South Beach! Beautiful location and quiet. Had a splendid time here. It's small beach but there is a park for the kids to play!

We walked down to the point, which is itself fun if you see all the Art Deco buildings along the way. The point itself has a pier reaching out along the waterway where boats leave the Miami harbor, including gigantic cruise ships if you time it right. Good views north up the beach and of Fisher's Islands and down the coast also. Nice that no building close by so some open space, hard to come by in Miami Beach.

The pier is partly covered and there is seating so on a very hot afternoon it is great to sit here and catch the breeze.
You have a great view of Miami Beach itself and the landscaped park is lovely as there are trees for shade.
Clean restrooms and a decent snack bar.
Well worth a visit.

Southpointe is an amazing place for watching cruise ships, and other marine vessels. It’s also a nice park with restaurants and snack bars, clean rest rooms and cold agua. In addition there is a long pier that offers beautiful views of Government Cut and the beach.

This park is at the end of the beach and has excellent views of the water and harbor and all of Miami Beach. It is particularly fun to watch the cruise ships heading in and out with all the other boats moving around them! You have no idea how truly large they are until they pass you by. Great walking paths, good green spaces, a very nice restaurant, super fun dog park, iguanas in the trees (!) and a long pier to walk. Nice marina at the end. Absolutely worth a visit.

Nice enough place. Not really a destination in itself, but pleasant enough when you get there. Sit under a tree and 'chillax' or walk along the pier - a great place to wave at the lucky souls sailing away each night from Port Miami.

fantastic spot for relaxation and recreation. The park boasts stunning views of the ocean and the city skyline, with well-maintained walking paths and plenty of green space. Visitors can enjoy the pier, playgrounds, and picnic areas. The sunset views are spectacular, making it an ideal place for a leisurely stroll or a peaceful evening out. Highly recommended for both locals and tourists!

This 17-acre urban park is the southern most tip of the South Beach, on Miami Beach Island. Whenever we visit Miami, we come here.
It reminds me of Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, in which they all face east to Atlantic Ocean, which has the pounding waves. (Miami is in the north and Rio's in the south of Atlantic Ocean.) But a slight angle to the South, the body of water becomes calmer.
Bikers, walkers, joggers, kids, pets, beach, Smith & Wollensky, meter parking can be tough.

Just a great park at the end of south beach! The pier is a great place to walk and take in great views. You can watch cruise ships leave, boats go by, sea life, people watch and have a great view of the beach and skylines all at one time. The park is very nice with amenities like restrooms, outdoor showers, grassy areas and more. A must visit when on Miami Beach!

The park is really nice & well kept. I’ve visited many piers over the years & it was great to watch a massive container ship to come in.
The area is very nice.

I love the walks at the South Pointe Park. U can enjoy the sunset here, or do some yoga, walk a dog, let the kids to play... Amazing view from all sides!

Lovely views, well maintained area. Worth walking along to the peer for a lovely view. Lots of good seating, great atmosphere

Probably one of the prettiest spots in South Beach. It's a really nice walk through the park and along the pier. Highly recommend grabbing some take out and having a little picnic in the park too (we loved the nearby healthy options from Pura Vida cafe and Joe's Stone Crab also does takeout if you want to feast while sitting by the ocean!)

This place is the perfect place to just chill. There is no "way" (mandalorian vibes?) you need to go; the park is very unguided. You can stroll by the waterside and just relax. We wandered along the beach to Marjory Stoneman Douglas Ocean Beach Park, where are there lots of trees and a playground.
This is a FREE attraction and you don't have to pay. I would recommend taking the bus, walking, or biking here as the parking fee is $20 flat, $6 for Miami Beach residents.

This used to be my favorite thing to do in Miami on Sundays. There was Latin dancing by the water, acro yoga on the grass, people having picnics, a gorgeous sunset. The police began shutting down the dancing a couple of months back and then things started losing its magic there for me. It’s still a beautiful place it just doesn’t hit the same for me anymore. Bring South Pointe Sundays back!!!

I had a race here and loved the atmosphere! Everyone doing their own thing. This park promotes outdoor activity and the sunrise here is gorgeous.

Wonderful to start or end up here for any day. Beautiful location with wonderful views
and tranquil vibe.

This is the best park in the Miami area and a great weekend visit around 5:00 as the cruise ships depart. This is a beautiful setting on the very south end of South Beach along the shipping channel. It has an artistic lighthouse, ocean pier and incredible palm lined sidewalks along the beautiful green water. In addition, you can get a drink as you sit here at a great outside bar at Smith & Wollensky's, see the review. We started our Miami Beach visit here on our first night to see this beautiful setting, but really to enjoy the large cruise ships that pass through the channel just yards from you. It is an incredible sight. See the pictures but they won't do the site justice. You really have to make time to visit. I will say it is a little bit away, one mile, from the Art Deco area on Ocean Ave. However, it is totally walkable if that distance does not bother you and the walk along the beach boardwalk is simply another great attraction to experience. However, don't miss this park as it is Miami MUST SEE.

Beautiful park. Just kinda stumbled upon it without knowing. We drove around to see what this park was and ended up staying over an hour to walk along the bay and ocean. So beautiful. Probably one of the best spots in Miami.

In my free time, I like to watch cruise ships sail away via online webcams. I was in Miami early for a cruise, so I decided to watch them sail away in person. The park is very clean and very relaxing.

Beautiful place to see, but don't stay nearby at the Greenview Hotel. They will send you home with bedbugs!

Place to park the car, nice boardwalk out to the point. Splash pad and park for the kiddos. Right at the beach, easy access.

South pointe park have a lots f people there have many street food but lag for the toilet hard to find the clean room

Beautiful spot to visit. Great walk from central South Beach. Great to see the Charter cruises coming and going as well as the Cargo ships.

Lovely water front amazing beach, do you have a walking pier access also you have a walking and biking open space and the best sunset ever

If you are looking for a beautiful spot to watch the sunset this is the spot . Amazing views! Just breathtaking!

Very nice place, clean, easy access. I suggest renting a bike to ride throughout the park and go to the end of the harbor that has next door, to look at the boats.

This is one of the most beautiful parks in Miami. It's very close to smith and wollensky and there are always people doing activities here. great place to come and relax and grab a bite after

South Pointe Park is at the very southernmost tip of Miami Beach. It's a lovely place to relax on the lawns among the palms.

Just a lovely walk along the beach to this pier, to sit and people watch and pelican watch and watch the world go by just chilled.

Beautiful park with such pretty views. I am glad we walked here and enjoyed it! Went on the pier and also walked the Marina area

This park has a long stretch along the water that leads out to a pier, where you can bike or take a stroll. There were many families out at sunset, some setting up small picnics. Everyone seemed aware of distancing, so it was a safe outdoor area to enjoy the final hour of daylight. There's also plenty of street parking nearby at a reasonable price.

Very pleasant place to stroll in the late afternoon. With gardens, toys for children, a beautiful pier with incredible views... As well as a park and lawns to relax. It's worth taking a look.

South Point Park, of course, is a large park (really!?) expanse - not limited to 1 Washington Avenue as the heading suggest. In reality, that is the address of the Smith and Wollensky restaurant!
Be that as it may, I will combine my comments of The Park with the restaurant having frequented both often and recently. An absolutely gorgeous and spacious park that designed to relax, exercise and let the kiddies enjoy the afternoon - whatever your inclination. It is well maintained, safe and it's only drawback is limited parking - welcome to South Beach. I would strongly suggest that if you have the time, take the South Beach free Trolley bus down Washington and get off at the entrance of the park just before the south-bound (Clockwise route) bus turns west - ask the driver or you'll have a long walk from the next stop near Alton Road. Or, take a taxi or Uber or Lyft. Be aware that you will have to phone for a return taxi as they don't cruise this area.
What draws many visitors to this park? The departure of multiple cruise ships between 4 and 5 pm, especially on Saturday and Sunday evening. They pass by a mere few hundred yards away as they make their way out of the Port of Miami Cruise ship terminal. Sit on the many benches or the rock that form the harbor wall along Government Cut channel and wave to the departing "ship people". Bring a picnic basket if you wish - not picnic table facilities in the park! If you feel like a splurge or want to impress that special person, make a reservation for 3:30 pm at Smith and Wollensky's and try to get an outside table - tough to do. Even inside, there are great views of the channel and the passing cruise ships. The restaurant is pricey but great service and a nice variety of appetizers that will make for a eclectic light meal. Add a Mojito or glass of champagne or even a beer and you have a brilliant afternoon/early evening soiree'.

lovely views and places to sit after enjoying a 2 hour bike ride along the beach path. The City Bike rental stops offer comfortable bikes at a reasonable rental rate of 10.00$ .

Great place to stay enjoying a great sunrise, see the rose and cruises come and go besides sitting on the seats and enjoying this wonderful city.

Bike town the Miami Beach boardwalk to this gem for some great views and photo ops. The spot has bike locks to store your bike and you can gaze down the pier at some clear waters with a bunch of marine life.

The view is amazing from this park. One of the best place in Miami beach to see the ocean, beach and the sunset of Miami city! very easy to access. You can go to beach, or do fishing there, or take picture for Instagram! This is must-go place in Miami Beach.

After walking along Art Deco District you can go to South Point Park. It has great views of Miami Port and you can also sunbathe.

Stunning and quiet spot at dawn. Parking also free until 7 am so perfect for the sunrise at 6:30. Handful of people about.

There's not much to add about this Miami Beach gem, which is meticulously landscaped and clean. It's especially beautiful around sunrise and sunset!

I had never been to South Pointe but we rented bikes for free at our great hotel: Urbanica and they recommended we visit this area. It did not disappoint; such a beautiful park. Not crowded and a lot of room for bikers and runners. Great views!!

Love going down to South Point Park to watch the Cruise Ships set out to sea & the sunset is always spectacular very relaxing & an enjoyable walk to the pier at the end. Come early since its hard to park & ships set out before sunset. Usually there is a turnover of parking spaces between 3:30pm to 4:30pm with people leaving the beach.

Just walk to the south point pier and enjoy all the views of Fischer island and marina! If you're lucky, you'll see some manatees.

Great walking area with good views. Though dont expect to get any snacks on drink there.
And keep in mind that there is no free parking.

The best way to enjoy this place is to bike there. You can bike on safe, beach front path all the way from about 26th street in Miami Beach. There are lots of trees and green space and on a hot day is perfect to have a nap on one of the unique lounge chairs. You can walk along and end up at the marina. YOu can watch large and small ships enter and leave port of miami. At the 5th St end you can go to a great tj Maxx and a publix grocery to get a salad lunch to enjoy as you sit in the park. MOnty's is here as well as a upscale well known steak place. Great place to escape the crowds of south beach

Went to south pointe park to burn an hour or so before dinner. It's a pretty place and they have a small playground for the kids there. Coolest thing to do is slide down a large grassy hill. Suggest you bring a piece of cardboard to sit on while sliding.

What a beach!!! Does this sand get better? Maybe Turks and Cacaos white sands. They keep this beach clean. Water is green and clear. What a place to picnic, chill or whatever floats your vibe!

Fun place to visit in Miami Beach as the views are awesome and the sunsets are beautiful. Watching the cruise ships depart is a kick. Easy place to walk and seems safe.

The park features a jetty at the ocean and ends at the Harbor with Monty's Oyster bar. Along the way are well groomed walkways and peaceful sitting areas. There are usually one or two fashion photo shoots at the ocean end - particularly at dusk.

Great place to just walk around, even have a picnic. Lots of people. But take note, the gate to the pier closes quite early in the evening.

After having a lovely day at the beach, rain surprised us, very frecuent by this month, so my friends decided to take me to a nice place to watch the sunset. In a couple of hours we were so blessed that the rain stopped and we could be witnesses of this unforgettable moment. If you stay near the marina you have some dinner choices, full of sea food choices, in our case we wanted some tasty burgers so kept walking till arrive to Big Pink.
In the weekend you can see some yoga lovers do some strange positions in couples, very acrobatic.
Nice place to walk in front of Fisher Island, near the Port and Marinas.
Very nice place to hang out, Biking, walking or jogging.

We live nearby and it’s a great place to safely stroll with appropriate social distancing. Dog walkers, young families, yoga enthusiasts, bicyclists and more enjoying the views and open space. Wander down the pier or around to the beach. Sunsets are spectacular over the Miami skyline and especially on a Sunday afternoon/early evening the vibe is perfect South Beach.

We had a great time at South Point. Big ships, interesting views and a start to walk North along the beach...

Go to pier and restaurant at the end for cocktails! It's a nice place to walk after dark and watch the sunset.

South Pointe Park in Miami Beach is a cool park to be able to get beautiful views of the water and enjoy everything. The park is well maintained and it is good to get some fresh air. There is plenty of space to move around. Good place to go for a walk and see everything.

We visited South Point Park in January 2019 while staying in South Beach. We reached the park by walking along the paved Beach Promenade down from about 16th Street to 5th Street and then continuing past South Point Drive to the southernmost point of Miami Beach. The reward is a beautiful park with a pier and great views of Miami Beach and the docked cruise ships, as well as a calmer beach scene. There are also several really nice restaurants in that area.

An option to see Miami beach, the port and the ocean from another perspective. Well south of South Beach, easy access with the bus loop or by walking a few minutes.
There are some dining options.
It's a nice walk.

This is a great park to visit. Fantastic views out to sea and up along the beach. Nice places to sit and relax and also restaurants to enjoy. One of my favourite parts of South Beach

The park is very user friendly and good for young and old. There is a playground, a beach, a jetty to climb out on and a wonderful place to just sit and watch the cruise ships float by on their way to their cruises.

This a great place - the shipping channel (Government Cut) runs right along one side. Huge ocean going ships - and all the cruise ships sail by - seemingly close enough to touch. Park goes out to the ocean - the south most part of South Beach....

We were staying a few blocks away from the park so decided to check it out on our first morning in Miami Beach - just while we got acclimatised to the heat. We really enjoyed our time there. We sat on a bench and watched the world go by. Walkers, families, cyclists, joggers - they're all here using the park. We also watched the shipping coming in and going out. We got to see a cruise ship leaving - fascinating. Felt very safe - there was a policeman on a bike who kept riding by. There were some funky metal pipes sticking out of the ground which let off cooling mist spray every now and then which I greatly appreciated. From here you can walk along to the start of the Ocean Drive chaos or maybe just sit a while longer and enjoy the peace!

visited south pointe park on my daughters birthday enjoyed a nice walk through the park and sight seeing from the pier great views

The park and pier was relaxing, clean and areas to relax. The views of ships and boats were nice to see. Great Photos!
Park atmosphere - cruise ships leaving and possibly sighting of manatee between the yachts parked all along in the marinas. Great restaurant Smith and Wolensky$$$ Some tables at waterside
Lovely and great for dogs.
