If you need a gator fix this is the place to go! Great assortment of gators and other critters of nature. Good for all ages and don’t forget to bring quarters for alligator food….well worth the money to see them in action.

We were traveling with our 14 year old son and we were all interested in visiting this place. It was very enjoyable! We spent about two hours checking out the animals and birds. It’s a must to see the alligator feeding! The rookery was amazing as they were so many birds nesting.

This was a great place to visit.
Both kids and adults truly enjoyed the exhibit and learned a lot about some wildlife.
It's well worth the visit!

We enjoyed our time at the Alligator Farm. We had never seen an alligator before. It was very clean, the people working there were so helpful, answered questions. Absolutly loved it!

Had a great time at the park. Saw hundreds of birds and a ton of alligators and crocodiles. Everyone was really friendly. Only issue was I felt like drink prices were a bit high but you are in a theme park.

Great educational park for wildlife. We dove pat it and there were always lots of cars. I would say the weekends are crazy busy. so go thru the week for less crowds and better parking

We travel From Georgia to St. Augustine frequently just to visit. All the staff are so informative and my 6 year old loves to visit and especially loves to hold the snake &/or alligator while mom LOVES getting lots of pictures!

This park is full of gators and reptiles alike. If you’re a reptile lover, this is for you! Also lots of exotic birds and other animals as well. Be aware of the birds that nest in the trees above the park…you might get pooped on!

Amazing perspectives for bird photography. We were amazing to find several "nesting" birds. We went in April which is probably prime season.

This place really exceeded our expectations! Our family gifted us a membership for Christmas and while I was disappointed that the zip lines weren’t included (and only a measly 15% off with membership is offered), we loved this place so much we came back more than once during our week visit and hope to go back again! It is extremely well-run, with knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly staff, from ticketing to the snack bars. The place is remarkably well laid-out - restrooms are clean and just where you’d want them to be - and the wooden walkways, paths, and bridges not only invite you to wander, but make you feel like there’s another discovery right around the corner. Upkeep is fantastic - nothing falling apart, chipping, cracked, broken - I’m not sure how they do it! And the enclosures are so open and accessible - and such a manageable size - you really feel close to the animals or just separated by a small wall or glass. You could be sitting on a stool having the funnel fries (highly recommend) and watching 100 year old tortoises snack on aloe plants three feet away. The whole place feels leafy and natural and so well integrated. The snacks, animal encounters, souvenirs, play spaces are small and manageable - no crowding or lines. Considering we visited twice during Christmas vacation, I thought that was pretty amazing. Our whole family enjoyed it - and we didn’t even see any of the shows or feedings! - including our teen son and tween daughter who can be the hardest to please at a place like this. Our tween animal lover was in heaven and took 75 pictures of everything. Wouldn’t recommend going on a cold (50+ degree) day, because the alligators (and everything else) are pretty sluggish and and might feel like, “you’ve seen 48 alligators, you’ve seen them all,” after an hour. Plus, they don’t do alligator feedings when it’s cold. But luckily, on warm days the birds are squawking, the Komodo dragon’s stalking, the turtles are moving, the lemurs and sloths are hanging around, and the alligators and crocs are hungry!

It was a sunny day that turned rainy. Good way to kill several hours. I think they need to clean some of the areas more often. as in animal enclosures. other than that animals seem to be cared for and park is clean in tourist area.

This is our fourth trip to this attraction and it’s always interesting to look at and watch the different species of animals in the park. There were some new animals this time since our last visit. Always a nice, do at your own pace, attraction to visit.

If you want to see alligators and crocodiles this is your place. I never knew there was so many different species of alligators and crocodiles. Check the weather before you go most of the park is outside with shade. We liked the quarter machines with "Gator" food you can toss into some of the exhibits. We were able to get our tickets in a package with Old Town Trolley (you just have to check with whoever your going to use to get around town with to see if they have a package deal. There are several different trolley companies to pick from. We have always used Old Town Trolley in every city they offer and have always had a great experience ). They also have several other animals as well. Over all a great experience

My sister and I took three of her grandchildren today. It was FUN! Two of the boys and I did the Nile Zipline. It had some strenuous parts but overall, it was fabulous. Parts of it were a bit scary and yet, we made it through. What an experience flying over the areas of huge alligators. All of the young ladies in the office area were great to work with and explained the process. Bobby, Ben, and Ben made sure that we knew what to do and kept us safe all the way through the course. My sister and the younger child wandered around the park and really enjoyed themselves. Maximo is HUGE.
Such an unforgettable experience. We hope to visit again over Christmas break.

Really amazing place to visit. We live in Florida and really enjoyed it. Great for kiddos and adults. Alot to see and expierence

We let our 5 year old decide what to do today. This is what she chose. After paying $75 for 2 adults and 1 kid I guess I was hoping for more. It was VERY crowded and about half way through our little one was bored and asking to leave. We didn’t even finish the whole thing. I find it way too expensive for what there is to see/do.

Well-populated zoo with reptiles, birds, and some amphibians. Great variety of crocodilians. One of the sections was undergoing maintenance and was drained, so that exposed all the muddy detritus at the bottom of the enclosure, which gave off a stench. Did not go on the zip line over the exhibits, but it looked fun from the ground! A bit overpriced for our experience, but we understand it takes a lot to feed and care for that many animals.

The exhibits and education were well done and the rookeries were amazing. Apparently they are active March to May so we visited at the ideal time. A boardwalk takes you right through tht rookery. Some nests as close as 15 feet from the boardwalk. Featured were several types of heron, wood storks, ibis and Roseate spoonbills. The sound was almost deafening as the birds protected their nests from others. The ground beneath the nests was thick with alligators. Well worth the price of admission when the rookery is active.

This place was amazing! Our family really enjoyed our time here! I came with my adult daughter and her 3 year old as well as my 16 and 20 year olds. All of us were completely entertained and amazed by all the wildlife this place has! It did not disappoint! Definitely recommend!

My husband and I enjoyed our time at the alligator farm. So interesting to see many species of alligators & crocodiles. They have a ton there, all sizes. The turtles, tortoises, and birds were intriguing too. Appreciated that this attraction was kept up so well, and there was plenty of shade. Good for adults and kids.

We visited this park in January 2024. Unfortunately there were no alligator feedings during our visit. But there were many alligators and crocodiles to view on the property. If you are a fan of these creatures, I would highly recommend a visit to this park.

Went here with our three teenage children. It was raining, but we wore our rain coats and had a great time. This was one of the favorite stops of everyone in our family. The alligator feeding is a must-see. We also watched a couple of the other shows which were also interesting. Definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed the Alligator Farm! We didn’t realize they closed at 5pm but we got there at 3pm and felt like 2 hours was plenty of time. I’ve been to several alligator farms before but never this late in the day but it seemed to be better this way because there was so much more activity in the later afternoon times. It’s a very well put together and clean environment, friendly staff, highly recommend!

It was a great experience to see all the lizards in your habitation, I toured the entire complex and climbed the cannopy. Visit the different seasons where we could see other species.

First time here. Hubby wasn’t thrilled about seeing a bunch of Alligators. On our way out after 3 plus hours he stated. “ wow that was a 10!” This place is more than just alligators. The bird rookery was wonderful. Found out the 2 types of American Alligators and 52 types of crocodiles world wide. I can now identify a croc! Fun day even with some exhibits closed due to Covid. Highly recommend!
Also if you like zip lines, your alligator/ croc adventure continues to a different level.

Very impressed with the variety of alligators, crocodiles and other species. Alligators are the star attraction of course and feeding time is an impressive sight. You won't be disappointed.

A favorite for all of us, it was awesome seeing so many gators in one place plus all the other animals. My kids (6&9) loved it. The kids play area was really cool too. loved the shows every hour.

This was amazing all the alligators, the albino alligator
Awesome sauce
The lecture on gators
You could have a beer while listening to the ranger
Worththevisitfor sure
The active wild life

Fun and educational for the whole family! We loved all the birds, turtles, and snakes... not to mention the many gators!! Enjoyed our visit here very much.

This is a must if you're an animal lover in the St. Augustine area. There are so many unique animals to see and the farm is well kept, clean, and staffed by friendly people.

There were so hungry, and the feeding was incredible!!! I even liked the Komodo, and the snakes!!! Even the totorsises and turtles, the fossils were interesting, too.

Good price. The park is clean. The staff is very friendly. The animals seem to be very well taken of.

Great family experience. Lots to see and many different alligators & crocodiles along with various unique birds. Always enjoy seeing Komodo Dragon. Worth the visit.

It's an ALLIGATOR FARM! You have to go.
It is a little pricey. See the shows if you can. Bring quarters - actual quarters - so you can get a handful of 'gator chow & throw it in the water. Best place to do this is in a little quiet area that has rocker chairs. The native bird rookery is pretty amazing, as well.

Very nice zoological park with lots of alligators, various birds, reptiles, and other animals. The park is nicely laid out, with places to get food, planned feedings or talks, and a gift shop. There is an app you can download to find out when feedings/talks are. The favorite activity that my teenagers loved was the zipline activity. This is an extra charge (prices are online) and sells out very quickly so book ahead. Depending on how busy, it might take 90 minutes to 2 hrs to get through as you can only go as fast as the person in front of you. The program is well run and lots of fun. Highly recommend!

There are a lot of gators here. The white one was pretty cool. We have lots of gators in South Carolina but seeing this many all together was fun.

The Alligator farm was a recommendation from friends and if you're an animal and nature lover be sure to check this place out. A little pricey than I expected but we enjoyed it. The place is big and the main tenants...the alligators are fascinating. There are so many of them that the sheer number is overwhelming. They don't do much but you're not going there to watch them do cartwheels. They're large, impressive animals that you can't help but to respect due to their size and nature. I could've sat there for hours just watching them. Their quiet power is relaxing. There's a small play area for younger children to run and jump. Ample kiosks for refreshments and light snacks. A huge gift shop you're routed through on the way out. Besides the alligators there are crocodiles, and different species of exotic birds. I like it. If you're a tourist to the area, you have to check it out.

On our recent vacation to St. Augustine, we visited here 6/25/25. Of all the things we did, this was probably our funniest and most interesting. Lots of things to see and a nice long walk around the entire park. We got to feed the gators, see an albino alligator and watch a show of one the zoo keepers feeding the alligators. It was really fun, myself, my wife and my (2) kids had a great time. Highly recommend if visiting the area.

We always have fun visiting the Alligator Farm, my kids love it, it was a bit hot out when we went and the concession stands were not open so we could not buy anything to drink. Other than that we loved seeing the Gators, we absolutely loved all the different birds and the snakes. The King Cobra actually looked straight at us with his head up. Pretty Scary! I recommend visiting with your kids!

This place is great. A nice little zoo with more than just alligators. It has a zipline going over the zoo which was very cool. Had a blast and got a workout lol. Only very minor negatives........tree branches could use a little trimming where ziplines are, and maybe a barrier for the really small decks you stop at. But those negatives won't stop me from going again!

This was a great way to safely observe the wildlife without the tourist trap feeling! Only takes a few hours to see the whole park, and probably doesn’t require a second visit unless they add something new. Bring some quarters for the gator food dispenser. Overall, if you’re interested in gators and crocs, this is definitely worth a visit!

This was a great trip. 3 generations from 80-20. Not one big was seen or felt the entire day. We went in just after 9am and left around 3pm. Plenty of shade even though it was very hot. Shows were great and informative. Our first trip here was 1951. What a difference the years have made. Better and better!

Great for the whole family. Very informative. They were open on Thanksgiving and it was a great day out. Tons of gators. Some enormous gators too.

Okay so we were thinking... alligators... yeah yeah... something to do....
WE ENDED UP SPENDING THE ENTIRE DAY THERE!
These folks know what they're doing and I especially love their conservation efforts. The plethora of nesting birds with hatchlings was also just amazing. Beware of what they call "Drop Zones"... don't wear your best clothing cuz there is a high probability you'll receive a "drop" LOL
We had so much fun seeing and learning... we will most likely visit again nex time we're in town!

...there was a video talking about making the crocs & alligators jump up for their food. Is that really necessary for enrichment? It was crazy to see every species of crocodile out there, among other animals.

This exhibit is well worth the time, learning about alligators, crocodiles, and other animals that live in the same climate. Plan at least a few hours to take in the exhibits of live animals in a safe and peaceful environment. My favorite were the lemurs, Galapagos tortoises, and the staff presentations on the reptiles. The immense size of the animals was amazing! I'm so glad my husband convinced me to go and enjoy the park.

Nice visit that should not be missed ! We were in St Augustine for a4 day stop onto our USA south road trip this July 2024 and we spent one whole afternoon wandering in this zoological Park. The Park is split into all the different continent in the world so you can see all those different kinds of alligators and crocodiles. Impressive salty crocs in one basin that we had the chance to see swimming. A nice presentation was preformed by 1 staff feeding the alligators on the center basin; very impressive how alligators recognize their names !!! Lots to learn on the alligators and impressive "feuille de route" for this alligator farm witch is a reference world wide in the alligator world ! Not to miss, worth the detour !

We celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday at the alligator farm and I surprised him with pictures with the Galapagos tortoises! I highly recommend this especially if Amanda is working! She is so knowledgeable and you can tell she really loves her job. Thank you, Amanda!!

The younger kids loved all the alligators and animals, and the older kids were a bit bored. We didn't get to see any of the shows.

So much fun! This place has every species of crocodilian in the world - I didn’t realize there were so many! The alligator feeding was very cool to see. The kids enjoyed feeding some of the birds and alligators. I wasn’t expecting for there to be anything other than alligators and reptiles - was pleasantly surprised to be wrong! Definitely recommend this to families with small kids, every exhibit had my 9 and 5 year olds excited and engaged. Plan to stay for at least two hours to see it all - even longer if you’re planning on the zip line!

We had a lot of fun walking around this little gem for a good 2 hours during our day in St. Augustine. It has more than enough to do to keep animal lovers occupied and plenty of animals to see. There are alligators of all shapes and sizes, birds, reptiles, crocs, and more! Plus, if you’re looking for a little more adventure, there’s a zip-line, though we didn’t try that. But I have to say, from what I saw, it looked like everyone that did it was enjoying!
One tip: bring quarters. There are food pellet dispensers that take quarters throughout the park. We didn’t know and couldn’t use them. Will bring next time!

My eleven year old grandson absolutely loved this place! There is so much to see. I enjoyed the rookery, watching the spoonbills and ibis carrying sticks and building nests. The gators are plentiful and huge. A must see.

We had a great time watching all the people, kids and adults, zip lining over the park. This is a nice sized park, not too big… plenty of places to sit. Fun watching the feedings and informational talks. Loved all the birds too. Wasn’t expecting there to be so many.
Although the food was pretty good, there was only one person taking orders. It took forever to place an order. The line moved very very slowly. Spent way too much time trying to get something to eat. We didn’t have small children with us but the people that did had very unhappy hungry children. It was frustrating.

We stopped here early on a Tuesday morning. There were quite a few small children here. Walked around and saw all the crocs and gators…did not realize there were so many varieties. Lots of other animals to see as well, but the gators dominate the park. Good way to spend a few hours on a nice day.

A great little zoo with more than alligators. So many birds and great spot to practice your photography skills.
Definitely a learning experience.
All the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful.

When researching our trip to St. Augustine I did read about this zoo and I'll admit that I wasn't very interested and didn't think it would be worth it. Then some friends of ours recommended it so we tried it. My wife and I are both glad that we did.
It was very professionally done and well kept. You certainly see plenty of alligators and crocodiles and you can get very close to them. My wife enjoyed feeding them (you can buy handfuls of food from a little machine). There were other animals and birds which we enjoyed seeing as well. The weather was beautiful and it was just a lovely day walking around.

We had a great time at the zoo! We were 12 people in all and everyone had a blast! We had to shelter for about 30 min during a severe although temporary rain storm but that added some fun to the day! Overall a great time! We watched a feeding (pictured) which everyone was amazed by.

First, we had not realized how many varieties of crocodiles and alligators existed. They manage to use every available inch here and is packed with information. There are some other exhibits mingled with the reptiles to keep it interesting. This experience isn’t going to entertain you unless you are willing to take the time to read the descriptions and make comparisons.
The birds are fascinating and beautiful. Overall, we enjoyed our visit.
This is a good stop for all ages. Teens can endure the amount of time it takes to go through the exhibits and still find something interesting. Lots of windows for the little guys and very few steps for those with mobility issues.

Enjoyed the largest number of alligators and crocs I’ve ever seen. An enjoyable 4 hours on a beautiful day. Admission discounted for seniors or AAA members was $25. Something happening every hour. Don’t miss the gator feeding for Maximo and Sydney—wow! They have a snack bar. Masks only required for indoor exhibitions.

This was my 4th time here and enjoyed it yet again. There’s alligators, of course, but also many, many other varieties of animals. The birds were amazing, especially the Cassowary. There were many snakes, reptiles and even interactive shows.

The rookery was the best spot in the farm. Lots of birds and plenty of alligators. We were just ahead of bunches of children as it was field trip day for the schools. One of the birds put on a show for us by walking up and down a fence while fluffing his wings. The price for any type of snack is relatively high and they only sell souvenir type cups. So if you are going on a place, you will be throwing it away.

Spend several hours walking around the grounds. Looked to be clean and the animals well cared for. The staff were friendly and helpful. Went in the morning not very crowded.
Would return

Was more to this than we expected so we had a great couple of hours. Watched feedings and learned a lot about the alligators in the area.

Fantastic ! I have never seen or been so upclose to so many alligators. A clean and beautiful setup to walk around. The shows were on the hour and informative and interesting. Option to hold an alligator and take a picture for a fee but not exhorbant.
Great for kids.

We are big fans of zoos, we go to one everywhere we go if we can. This is all about the gators/crocs. There is plenty of shade, but still need sunscreen. They serve beer for the adults, which is amazing. We live 45 minutes away and go often with a family pass.

It was a nice visit, there are a lot of alligators, good looking birds and other animals, like gigantic tortoises and big pythons. First time I saw an albino alligator. The Kamodo dragon was also cool to see.
The grounds are pretty and well kept.
They also have a zip line and obstacle course.
Tickets for 12 yo + is $37 x person, they have snacks and drinks. We were there for about 90 minutes and felt that we saw most of it.

The Alligator Farm Zoological Park features a variety of animal species, including hundreds of native alligators, crocodiles, lemurs, Komodo dragons, toucans, and a sloth exhibit which during our visit a member of the staff was feeding. The park is the only place in the world to see all 24 species of crocodilians in one place. Be prepared for the noise from all the birds in all the trees and the smell.

Spring is in the air! Very informative and all of the bird babies....oh, and alligators! A Lemur followed our dog and chatted with her as we walked!

Great experience.
Lots of new additions since our last visit.
Very clean
Emphasis on teaching and wildlife conservation

Spent a few hours here. Lots of gators. Also there were a lot of different birds and animals all in nice settings. Saw the alligators get fed. Lots of interesting facts about the exhibits. Had lunch - decent food at a reasonable price.

It was an interesting place. Besides the reptiles, there were so many large birds nesting above us - herons, egrets, roseate spoonbills, etc. they were fascinating to watch, but he warned. You might want to wear some kind of head covering.

So many birds here - more than we were expecting! Many types of alligators, lovely, winding pathways. Very hot! Half our party did the zipline adventure - and we had fun trying to spot them overhead. The feeding demonstrations were informative.

We stopped by the Alligator farm and were so glad we did. This is not a huge place but it is packed with all kinds of alligators big and small. They have Komodo Dragons, snakes, turtles, birds, Lemurs, and Sloths. They have a large swamp area where the are alligators swimming. They have machines along the way with food you can purchase and throw it to the birds and alligators. They do have shows and feeding of the gators. We did not stay for those but i think the kids would enjoy them. I would highly recommend the Alligator farm. They do offer different types of discounts also.

Wow this was definitely an experience to remember! Sooooo many animals and not just gators, there were a lot of birds and some lemurs that were so fun to watch. Loved this place definitely recommend to anyone visiting!!

I went into this trip thinking it was going to be some rinky-dinky thing with a few alligators. Nope, I was wrong. It was so much more than my expectations had given it. Everything and all the displays were done not only tastefully but also respectfully. I had no idea there were so many different species of alligators, crocodiles and caiman. I also learned that many of them are critically endangered and places like this not only teach humans about them, but also helps to reestablish the breeds. Yes, some are lifers, but many will be released once they are at a certain point. There also were other animals such as birds, turtles, lemurs, kimono dragons and snakes. We will definitely be returning!

We learned lots about alligators! The presentation was very interesting. And the birds that flew into the trees near the late afternoon were fascinating. All the exhibits includes interesting facts about the animals. It was much better than we expected.

As a biologist and someone that has "pet" snakes and lizards, I always visit zoos and animal parks if one is around when I travel. However when doing so, I try to visit as a father rather than a scientist. This park was fine, lots of gators - maybe even too many. After awhile the different species tend to run together. I would have liked to see a little more non gator species - and especially a few more small mammal species. I did really love seeing all the bird species and how close you could get up to them, especially on the water walkway. We didn't do any of the shows so can't comment on that. The price was around what you normally expect for similar parks. My only frustration came at the photographers that were allowed to set up tripods - they got in the way.

I had no idea there were so many different species of alligator/crocodile! And each of them is represented at this interesting spot. I thoroughly enjoyed wandering through the place despite the heat, humidity, and pop-up shower. The animals are on display w/ excellent signage about their homes, diets, populations, and other facts. It was a treat being able to get "up close and personal" w/ such awesome beasts.
In addition enjoy the exotic birds, other reptiles, monkeys, &c that are part of the place.
My only complaint is that I wish there were more docents around the park to answer any questions. I saw several staff hurrying fr/ place to place but none were positioned at exhibits to give more in-depth information. That being said kudos to the woman at the entrance who was patiently able to find my reservation b/c I could not get it on my phone)

Great attraction. Very nicely displayed and well kept. So many types of gators I have never seen. Learned a lot and enjoyed our time there!

Lots of gators and other interesting animals. Enjoyed the birds. You can also zip line over the park.

It was an interesting day seeing the numerous animals, birds, alligators and crocodiles at this historic place. Prices for drinks and snacks were very expensive, but most zoos are like that now.

Great visit to the Alligator Farm. Place was laid out nicely, plenty of exhibits, and friendly staff. I recommend to anyone in the area, that’s never been.

We never saw so many alligators in one place! A diversity of species is also amazing. The keepers are well versed in all things related to alligators and provide a ton of information - ask as many questions as you want and they will answer them. It is especially great for kids but adults / parents get their kicks as well. I, for one, felt like a kid in a zoo - which it almost was....

Alligator farm is a pretty cool place. I felt it was a little overpriced as it took only about an hour to get through and it was almost $100 for a family of four. Lots of animals to see, but again, unless you hang around for the feedings, not worth the price to visit.

This place is wonderful. We went in mid April....the weather was warm for walking around and enjoying the animals. Birds were building nest everywhere, alligators were active. This was one of the best places to visit while in St. Augustine. Exhibits were very interesting. Highly recommend.

My girlfriend and I were on our annual trip and St Augustine was this year's location. I didn't really want to go here, but my girlfriend wanted to go. I'm glad we went! This was a very interesting farm with not only all different kinds of alligators but birds, mammals and turtles. We spent probably 4 hours here and I enjoyed it thoroughly. There is a cafe onsite with limited, decent food. I don't think there were any stairs and there was either cement or a boardwalk around the place. Somebody in a wheelchair or walking difficulty shouldn't have any problems.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this place after finding Gatorland somewhat disappointing, but I had a wonderful time. The park is beautifully landscaped and well laid-out. There is plenty of shade and the exhibits are well designed. If you don't care for gators, this might not be the ideal choice of tourist destination. I didn't see any of the shows. The highlight for me was the natural rookerie, with baby birds everywhere!
My only complaint...the food service. The park was very busy when I visited and there was only one food location open. The staff were very overwhelmed and it took nearly 30 minutes from the time I ordered (a wait of about 15 minutes to order) to get a simple basket of chicken fingers and fries. Having made the complaint, I will say, I didn't come here for the food and it wasn't an experience that ruined my day overall. I would still say this place is well worth visiting, but just be prepared to wait for your lunch.

The alligator farm is a really special place on Anastasia Island. You will learn a lot about alligators, crocodiles, turtles, birds, snakes, etc. There is even a cassowary!
My family, friends and I really like to visit as new attractions are added. In addition to the animals, there is a zip line that is really fun and not too challenging.
Even the food at the snack bar is good so stay for lunch.

This is a mid size zoological park with plenty of alligators, crocodile and birds to see. It’s a great way to see these predators up close. We saw 1 show and spent about 2 hours here

We had a pretty good time at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm. The layout is more comfortable then attractions that are similar. It’s only about a half day of entertainment and you should definitely get the discount through Old Town Trolley Tours. It’s a nice family morning with some VERY big reptiles.

The interaction between the alligators and staff is pretty cool. I have never seen as many of these anywhere in one place !!!
fun and worth going here !

This was a fun place to visit for our family of 6-14 year old kids, and us parents.
I didn't have change on me, but I wish I had because there are machines where you can pay 25 cents to get some Gator feed and you can throw that into the water for the Gators to come eat. I watched other people do this, which was fun to watch, but the next time I go I'm bringing my quarters.
For our family group it was less expensive to get the family year membership than it was to pay for the individuals separately, so check that out when you go. I would like to return before my membership expires.
Watching shows and alligator feeding demonstrations was very interesting. I would go here again.

Exciting! Educational! Terrific spot to spend time with the family. Saw alligators, crocodiles, birds, turtles and tortoises. Highly recommended.

Amazing collection of alligators, and birds nesting on trees above, plus a number of other animals, in a well designed and walkable space

Such a fun and interesting place! Not only did you get to see many different animals, but you also got to learn a lot about them! We also saw the alligators being fed, the rainforest show, and the reptile show. All were great! You get a lot for your money! We will definitely be back!

While visiting St Augustine, FL, my wife and I stopped at the Alligator Farm. There are so many variety of alligators, caimans, and crocodiles, and it seems like a thousand swimming around or on display, you will not believe it. There is also a bird Rookery, where birds of several different kinds naturally come here to hatch and raise their young. We were fortunate to be able to watch them feed the alligators scientific diet food and as a treat, dead rats. There is also the history of some of the largest gators or crocodiles that were ever captured. If you are in St Augustine, this place is a must to visit.

We enjoyed the Alligator Farm experience very much!! They have lots and lots of Alligators and Birds to see. It was clean and very friendly!!! We were able to watch the staff feed the Alligators..really interesting and fun!!! It doesn't take all day to take the tour of this park..We enjoyed it very much!!!!

We weren’t sure what to expect but we LOVED our visit to the alligator farm. The alligators and crocodiles were fun to see but the highlight for me were the birds!!! It was just awesome to get to see so many different species in the rookery. An absolute highlight of my entire trip. His was a fantastic way to spend a few hours.

There are so many gators, crocs, snakes, and other animals here! The park is surprisingly huge, and you could easily spend an entire day here. We got to view the noon feeding at the main lagoon gator area, and it was cool to see them jump out of the water for the rats. You are also able to buy pellets for a quarter to feed other gators as you walk around. It was very exciting to also see many spoonbills and other birds roosting in the trees. This is a great way to view nature safely!

The best place I've been to in a while!!! I would highly recommend people go here over the Orlando parks.

This was a fun thing to do to get out of the hotel room. Plenty of alligators & crocodiles to see. They also had some other animals. Spots of shade were helpful since we were there during lunch time. There are a couple of inside rooms for you to cool off in as well. Tickets are kind of steep. I didn’t really feel like that was worth it.

Very well put together. I actually enjoyed the birds as much as the alligators. The reviews on youtube did not do this place any justice. It was much nicer.

This is a really awesome zoo! Really well taken care of animals, a lot of variety, and the best part is that they have every species of crocodilian here! Seeing a gharial is already the coolest thing ever, but seeing 3 (including a juvenile) is just amazing. The wild bird rookery is also just remarkable. You can walk up and be 6 inches from an active bird nest without even disturbing the parents! I always tell people this is an absolute must-do while vacationing in St. Aug.

The zoo is amazing. I’ve gone many times throughout the years and it never fails to put a smile on my face. They update the exhibits often enough and the shows as well. Staff is always super nice too. Couldn’t recommend it enough

Such a beautiful place! Lots of different wildlife, including the alligators and crocodiles! Very friendly employees, clean facilities, and super interesting!

Very nice day at the Alligator Farm. A lot of different kinds of animals.
They had about 24 species of crocodilians, and also a variety of other reptiles, mammals and birds, as well as exhibits and educational literature.
The animal performances were the best. !

What a fun and educational experience! This was our second visit to the farm and we enjoyed seeing the exhibits and the presentations by the staff.

Definitely worth the price! Even though we visited early in the day on one of Florida's coldest mornings, we saw a lot! The facility has a LOT of gators and crocs. Due to the cold, most programs were canceled that day but my family thoroughly enjoyed their visit.

A neat park and small zoo. We paid extra for the sloth encounter and it was well worth it. This was a good activity for us when the weather wasn’t nice enough to be at the beach.

We enjoyed this attraction. I am not a big fan of crocs and gators, but there were some other attractions, lots of birds, turtles, some lemurs. The birds may have been the best part. The park was pretty good. It was fairly expensive, though. Overall, worth seeing, particularly for reptile lovers.

Mosquitoes were so horrible we couldn’t even stay. Spent $30 on bug spray there and it didn’t work. Felt like a waste of money to itch for a few days.

We took our two young children here during their first beach vacation. There was way more to see than I expected and a kids play area also! The entire family enjoyed this experience tremendously and definitely learned a lot during our visit. Animals are very easy to see in the enclosures and the kids even got to throw some pellets to some alligators in the swamp area, they loved watching them eat the pellets.

Fun experience for the family and the kids to see animals up close. Birds nest overhead and poop spots are identified with signs. Two of our group were christened by the birds, but it's a quick clean up! July is too hot!

Thought it was a bit over priced in my opinion...very small selection of other wild life. YES its an alligator venue, would have liked to see more of the parrots..
Toco Tucan exhibit was very nice..those birds were in peak condition... The Scarlet macaw looked lonely..We did not see but one in the enclosure...but she looked nice as well..

Had a great time with my teenage daughter along with my adult daughter and two small grandchildren. They were open during the pandemic and allowed us to take her time and had very good cleaning guidelines.

Family vacation in Florida means a trip to an Alligator destination. This was our first visit to St. Augustine and the Alligator Zoo was an enjoyable look at lots of different alligators, crocodiles, snakes, and birds. Informative shows scheduled throughout the day were great.

It has been awhile since I have been here. It is still a fun place to visit. I did like the Gomek exhibit. I remember him be huge. They have many other thing to see and do. It is a good way to spend a few hours. I will be back.

Lots to see- gators, crocodiles, reptiles, birds. They'll give a AAA member discount on the ticket price too. Keep in mind it's Florida, it's outside, and it might be hot. Bring water, bring quarters. I was told you don't want to miss the feeding time which is at 3:00.

We visit the alligator farm every year to photograph at the bird rookery. It's a great place, especially for the kids. All kinds of things to keep them entertained and the adults will love it too.

I have never seen so many alligators in my entire life! Great display of alligators and crocodiles along with many different birds. Enjoyed our visit!

We really enjoyed the alligator farm. There were also many different types of birds to see. They have certain times they feed the alligators and you can watch(just don't stand near the plexiglass under the trees or the birds poop on you)

This place was clean and easy to navigate. Our whole family enjoyed the alligators and other animals. We learned so much and the highlight was feeding the alligators. There was lightning in the area, so we couldn't do the zipline/ropes course, but will do that next time we are in town.

I have long assumed this to just be a roadside tourist trap, but that would be incorrect. The Park is a member of the Association of Zoos & Aquariums, and as such follows proper zoological practices including conservation and research. Their exhibits are well maintained and quite unique. Throughout the zoo are examples of native art and culture relative to where the origin of the animals. While it does predominantly focus on crocodilian and other reptile species, they do have a nice selection of birds and mammals. As a frequent zoo visitor, this will be on my must do list in the future.

You definitely get to see lots of reptiles and animals, experience great and captivating shows, and see a replica of the largest crocodile for the money! This definitely is a place to see; you’ll need at least a few hours to view most exhibits. This one is worth the trip, time, and money. While it was a short wait to enter, it wasn’t too crowded; you could easily walk around and see the exhibits up close. The feedings shows are amazing!!’ This is a must see in St. Augustine.

We enjoyed our time at the Alligator Farm. I would recommend going early, because the parking lots fill fast (at least they did on a Tuesday). They accept a triple A discount, but you do need to have your card on you to show.
We enjoyed seeing the big alligators and then even more so enjoyed seeing the different varieties of gators/crocodiles.
My favorite was when suddenly it seems like you are in the jungle with "wild" looking trees all around and birds galore and just listening to the sounds of them was awesome!

My dad and I had an experience 30 years ago visiting an alligator farm in Florida and came back here to relive that experience. The price was frankly exorbitant - but we enjoyed the experience. There were far more varieties of alligator and crocodile then we anticipated along with snakes and birds. The opportunity to buy alligator feed and see their behaviors in a variety of settings was particularly enjoyable. We spent more time here than we expected. It was also interesting to later go on an airboat ride elsewhere and see these creatures in their natural environment. I would note there was a separate zipline experience over the alligator pits that we did not do, but that we enjoyed watching other people do.

Enjoyed our morning at the park. Two hours was just enough time to see the whole park and watch 2 presentations. The park was very clean with lots of shady areas. There was a lot to see and think it’s a manageable park for small children. We didn’t eat there so I can’t comment on the food.

If you are intrigued by reptiles, specifically alligators, this is your place. There are many different species of them here. My wife is a birder and I’m a photographer, this is a great place to be up close to many types. The best time to be there is during mating and nesting. Watching spoonbills, great egrets, etc build nests is better than watching a movie on the subject. We spent most of a full day here and it was worth every minute!

We enjoyed the easy pace to see all of the large variety of animals. The shows are short but very informative.

We had a great time learning about the different animal and alligators at the park. The staff was really knowledgable and eager to share with the kids. Get a list of show times and a map to be sure you are in the right area to catch all there is to offer. The habitats were well maintained and clean. The kids favorite were the Toucan and albino alligators.

This is a very great place to visit as they have not only alligators but crocodiles and other creepy reptiles and an assortment of birds. Well worth the visit when in St Augustine.

This place was pretty fun. We took our nieces. So many different types of Alligators to look at. Love the birds.

EXCEPTIONAL VALUE!!
We have a membership to the Alligator Farm, and after living here for two years, finally decided to try the zipline. What a tremendous course! My husband and I are 55, and 59. We are in great shape, and decided to do the Nile course, which is the longer of the two offered.
What we didn't expect was the level of challenges, and although we were apprehensive after the first zipline challenge, we pushed through and completed everything. I've completed adventure courses in the Adirondacks in the past and they didn't hold a candle to this one.
What did we like?
SAFE & FREE TO ROAM We love that they set you loose after the training and you are on your own to navigate your way through. The safety equipment is top-notch, and never did I feel concerned about not being well-equipped. Since it was only the two of us and the remainder of the guests were doing the short course, my husband and I had the entire Nile course to ourselves.
CHALLENGING I would not recommend this to anyone that has not had some exposure to an exercise program or hasn't been active. You use your core the entire time, as there are lots of balance challenges. Some of the ladders are extremely narrow and because you are continuing to use your carabiners with every movement, flexibility and strength are super helpful assets. We loved how much 'thinking' was required to manage the safety latch throughout.
LEAVE PHONE IN CAR They will not let you take your phone with you, nor will they let you have any other item on your person. It is such a wonderful experience to be free of your phone. They take pics of your group in the beginning and offer photos for purchase (not too pricey) of you on the zipline, when you finish your adventure.
LOTS OF ZIPLINES If you can't make it through the first one, you should jump ship because this course has 15 ziplines and 25 challenges. Great mix of everything and you never get bored. Some were much more difficult than others.
BEAUTIFUL VIEW How cool to look down and see the alligators! Great view of the park. I was surprised as to how dense it was. Wonderful environment - yes, it smells at times, but that's because they maintain their space to reflect the natural environment these animals live in.
TIPS for women - ha! They do not allow baseball caps, and I have lots of unruly hair and would have killed for a headband. It was extremely hot on this day and my husband and I have never sweat so much. I would bring a bandana and tie it around my neck to use throughout as a towel. Also, I would recommend a long and loose pair of shorts, or 3/4 length leggings. The harness rides up the entire course and my short length was about 4 inches above my knees and they still bunched up the entire time. Leave the rings and bracelets at home. You are given hefty leather gloves and I found my jewelry to be an irritant with all the pulling on the cables, etc.
Come hydrated and well fed. The Nile course took us 2 hours exactly. The offer water fountains in the trees throughout the entire course, but naturally, the water is not cold.
This was one of the best adventures we have had since we moved here two years ago. And, if you've never visited the Alligator Farm, I would highly recommend you take a nice leisurely visit through the park after your zipline adventure. Make a day of it, pack a cooler and some snacks to nourish yourself after the adventure course and then go see all the magnificent animals in the park. Have fun!!!

we went to alligator farm it so much fun we saw a crocodile the alligator show is great we will reutrn soon

I love alligators and must go to an alligator adventure no matter how many times I have been there before. There is such a great amount to see and do.

I had low expectations but I found a great park. Well maintained, interesting an great to learn about reptiles. Small but interesting

My 4 yr old son loves animals so he had a blast! We’re zoo members in our hometown which granted us 50% off. I liked the layout with many paths shaded by tall trees where several types of birds nest. There’s a small cafe in the middle with snacks, drinks and adult beverages. You’ll find the Kid Zone playground about 3/4 way through, right when young ones need a break. If you want to book the sloth experience you’ll need to schedule 3 months in advance. At this point in May it’s sold out through August. Put this on your to-do list for your next trip to St. Augustine.

There is plenty of parking at the Alligator Farm. The park has many alligators and other animals too. We went over Christmas break so it was crowded but still had a great time. It was fun for all ages. They also have a great gift shop. There is a rope course that has a separate admission at the park.

Have not been here in many years. It has really been upgrader. Very nice and enjoyable day with friends

I went with 2 photography groups for the 2 Day Photographers pass at The Alligator Farm. My wife went along because she loves St. Augustine. From a previolus trip we knew of a couple lowkey restaurants with great food and we frequented them too during our 3.5 days there. As for the bird photography at the farm, it's great.

Awesome time with our 2 yo!!! A little expensive for him being so young but would have been better for him if he was a little older.....but mom and dad had a great time!!

I thought the alligator park was expensive for what it was. We spent about 2 hours there. It was cool to see the alligators and other reptiles and so many birds. It was educational and my kids enjoyed the playground. There was quite a bit of shade and a couple of drinking fountains, which were great on a hot day.

My wife and I visited the Alligator Farm while in St. Augustine. It is a zoo type setting with many numerous types of alligators, crocodiles, birds, snakes and turtles. It was very educational in my opinion. Lots of families with children there.

My kids loved it. Alligators and crocodiles from all over the world. Animal experiences and pictures are affordable compared to other places. We got our picture taken with a baby alligator and petted Galapagos tortoises. Offers a military/veterans discount at the gate. Free refills on the souvenir cup.

I love this place! Although it's a private zoo, it is more like a special science museum and entertainment venue all in one. The different kind of animals you get to see is refreshing, and the bird sanctuary gorgeous. I and my grandson have done the zip lining a couple of times and that's pretty exhilarating. I always enjoy it there.

So so so cool! A must see, and I wouldn’t say I’m a huge wildlife person. There are TONs of alligators and crocs and many other animals too! Make sure you bring change, I don’t carry change and was disappointed when we came to the vending machine we could get alligator food for a quarter! There were sloths, lemurs, Stork, swans, and a million turtles too!!! The caging really felt natural and not zoo like, and you can get pretty close. Some are named, some have stories, and we saw year old gators, and couple months old gators! Just AMAZING! We spent 2 hours there and I bought a bag of stuff at the gift shop lol

We had a wonderful time visiting Alligator Farm , we got there right in time to see the gators getting fed at noon so that was pretty amazing to see. Highly recommended place to visit

My favorite parts were the educational shows. We also enjoyed feeding the alligators!! It doesn't take long to get around the whole park, which is good for people like me (who tire out easily). Fun for adults and kids alike!!

I had been here once before, but unfortunately the people I was with rushed through and I couldn’t fully appreciate everything. This time it was just me and my husband and we had a blast. We took our time and saw 4 of the shows and got our picture taken holding Daisy the alligator. This is such an amazing collection of reptiles with wonderful education and conservation efforts. These animals are clearly well taken care of with specious natural enclosures with multiple spots for viewing so you can still get up close a personal with them. I personally fell in love with the Komodo Dragon!

The farm staff was very nice and welcoming. The feedings and showings were great and informative, we saw a wide variety of species from alligators to crocodiles, snakes, lizards, tortoises, African birds …
You can also see albino gators and babies !

Something for everyone. Our group of 12-64yo's enjoyed the farm and the variety of animals. This was our 2nd visit and will go again!
One thing we didn't like - the presenter at the informative seminars was miced, but their mask prevented clear speech and for those of us that read lips it was impossible to supplement the ability to understand. Half our party left and didn't attend other presentations. The presentations did not meet ADA standards for ASL and hearing impaired.
Question: If the presenter is more than 6' away from the audience why are they wearing a mask to present? Even Joe Biden takes his mask off at the podium.

The alligator farm at st Augustine was a wonderful experience for all of us!!! We were impressed with how safety conscious they are during this covid experience....the staff was safe yet accommodating to park goers. We paid extra for a “behind the scenes” tour with Tori. That was enjoyable and we learned so much from her about the different animals she spoke to us about. Our grandson, who’s three, enjoyed it as well. She was patient and kind, yet knowledgeable about all that she showed us. She knows her stuff!! We were probably there about four hours (no zip line for us) it’s definitely something you’ll want to do if you’re in st Augustine!!

Go visit this place, even if you don’t have kids with you.So may creatures to see, The wild birds who nest there had babies and the sounds were incredible. We Seniors loved it..

My family and I had a blast at Alligator Farm. So impressed with the entire facility and the huge variety of animals. Got my picture taken with a real alligator.

The Alligator Farm is a great place to visit for children and adults. One can view alligators, birds, mammals, and more in a very clean and friendly environment. It was great watching young people explore all the areas and watching their faces light up with awe while visiting the farm.
The food prices are a bit steep, and the selection is typical amusement park food. With that being said, there are areas where one can sit and eat in a comfortable setting.
It is a must-see place when in this part of Florida.

Wow, so many different alligators in one place. There were a lot of birds as well as a few other reptiles. We were fascinated by the albino gator and the size of Maximo. The alligator feeding was interesting but tense. We learned a lot about these creatures and appreciated the time we spent there.

We've lived here in St. Augustine for a number of years and for whatever reason had never visited the Alligator Farm. Big mistake on our part as it was a wonderful day of fun, learning, and family time. Many species of alligators, snakes, birds, and crocodiles were available to greet us and we could see up close and personal. Demonstrations, feeding, and education.
The park was much larger than I imagined and has plenty of space so never felt crowded. The weather was perfect. Places to sit and watch were readily available as well. Coupons can be found in various places both online and in tourist magazines.
Recommend for all ages.

My wife and I were here in 2019 and 2020, a bit earlier in the year than our April 2021 visit.
If you're a fan of wildlife, you don't want to miss this.
Hundreds of alligators (some babies, some adults, some huge!) can be seen and experienced as you walk through the park.
Some adventurous guests were ziplining over the alligators.
Something that impressed us this time more than the others were the abudnance of nesting birds---beautiful birds of all varieties with newly hatched babies.
We probably spent more time looking at them than we did the alligators--they were so beautiful.
The Alligator Farm is something you don't want to miss.
Friendly for kids, families (military get a hefty discount) seniors a small discount.
Check out the gift shop on the way out!

I didn’t realize how many different types of alligators there were but now I know. I found it to be very interesting and worth a visit.

Loved the alligators, the staff was great, and the grounds were big enough to feel fulfilled but small enough to pop in and not get overwhelmed. I recommend this for a "couple of hours" activity (at most).

If you love zoo’s that do it right..this is the place! There are so many different varieties of alligators and crocodiles, many I never knew existed. There are other animals too. The staff are very friendly and they were keeping up this park very well. The animals all looked happy and in exhibits that were large. Five stars for sure.

We enjoyed the adventure of ziplining! The staff was friendly and helpful. This was definitely a highlight of our anniversary trip!

This place is great for anyone to visit. So much to see and do. I thought it was just gators but no they have tons of exhibits and lots of shows. The animals are well cared for by the staff. My husband and I really loved our visit. Go you will love it

Took my 6 year old son to do the sloth encounter, which if you want to do you need to book well in advance as it is popular and books out. We had a great time feeding and learning all about Teddy the sloth! Very cool experience would def recommend!

If you enjoy gators this is a must see when in the area, if you can catch the times they do the feedings it was very interesting

My older boys zip lined over the park for the hour session and loved it!! My daughter and I was able to see most all of the park in the time it took them to zipline!!

My daughter loved the park. We saw a small bird show and an alligator feeding. She also got her picture taken holding a baby alligator named Kermit. There were a lot of birds flying freely around the park and the long boardwalk over the gator lagoon was fun

Kids will love this place. They have tons of alligators and other animals as well. The trainer getting in the lagoon with the alligators was a hit. It is super hot in the summer so bring cold water and a hat. They also have a stand where you can buy some ice cream or drinks to cool off.

This is my second trip into the park and I’ve loved both experiences.
Friendly, clean, beautifully maintained and for photography a great wooden walkway and overlook.

This was great. So much to see. We had no idea there so may different species of crocodiles. The turtles, birds and snakes really added to the experience.

Fun, Intersting and Family Friendly place to spend time seeing super cool stuff. Grandson here for a visit and we are not "Disney" people, so took him to a location where I knew we would all have a good time!

cool gators- a variety of other animals- park for the kids- good food- zip lining- gone several times- love going when the birds are roosting- thousands of birds nesting all at once- beautiful

This was much more than what I expected. There were a variety of alligators and crocodiles from around the world. Interestingly, there were also a huge number of interesting birds nesting in the trees, including wood storks, a variety of egrets, and roseate spoonbills.

We dropped in as a family and really enjoyed this place. We weren't sure what to expect but found the place top notch. A lot of effort has gone into making this place a great attraction. If you want to see alligators this is the place to come

This is my second visit and this was all about the rookery. We were extremely fortunate and the rookery was rocking! Roseate spoonbills, herons, ibis galore. That area is loud with bird calls. Nests everywhere and so close you could reach out and touch the birds. They had all stages- building nests, eggs and fledglings. My goal was to see a roseate spoonbill and there were many. April- July is the best time to view the rookery.

Haven't been in awhile, but had a ball with my grandson. He is 14. Enjoyed watching them feed alligators. Birds were roosting and there were babies everywhere. Loved it. Make sure to visit when you come to St. Augustine

This place was an awesome experience! While it's a bit on the smaller side, we had an amazing time exploring it. I was bracing for some strong smells but was pleasantly surprised – only a couple spots had a bit of it. Some of the animals seemed a little down, but the overall vibe was great. The highlight? My family absolutely loved the theater show, and holding a baby gator was unforgettable! It’s a bit pricey, but knowing it supports the park and animal rescue makes it worth it. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing! What a treat. It's so well-maintained and there are so many interesting exhibits, so many interesting animals. Great adventure for all ages. We especially loved experiencing the rookery. Wow!! Highly recommend. Still family owned. A true Florida treasure.

So much more than we expected!! It was a very well-manicured zoo with paved walk ways (surprisingly covered in most places to protect against the FL sun), there were plaques explaining the different animals and the shows were very informative and entertaining! They had a great little snack shop (that serves beer!) and it was pretty good food! A very very good must see for a family outing in Florida!!

Unexpected surprise and a lot of fun. My grandkids are seven and 10 and we could hardly get them to go home. Worth the money.

Had a delightful day at the Alligator Farm. Highly informative and engaging staff presented the animals in fun and educational shows. We also had wonderful conversations with the staff around the park. They happily answered our questions and were so kind, informative, and friendly. The entire farm is fascinating. Information about conservation and fun animal facts abound. We lucked out with a sunny, mild day, so the alligators were out sunning themselves. When the sun began to set, huge alligators splashed into the 75-degree water. This place exceeded our expectations.

Lots to see and do Here! Wonderful variety of gators and so many! My son loved the gator feeding especially , really cool how 5min before the feeding show the gators all start heading that direction and piling up. There is a playground and several shows to watch as well

I'm not gator fan but this a amazing zoo could be a bit more disabilities friendly. It was alit fun we we spent four hours here well covered. Got other animals. Mini version of gatorland.

Such a great experience as always! This is a great place to see a variety of animals while also learning about them and their habitats. I love that you can tell this place truly cares about its animals and their well being. Conservation is so important and I will always support places like this who truly make it a priority to put their animals first.

Try to get there for the alligator feeding time (noon in our case); it's exciting! The exhibit are well done -- informative and displayed nicely. There are almost as many exotic birds in the overhead trees as gators on the water. But pay attention to the "drop zone" warnings, and wear a hat!

They have lots of alligator, maybe 800 or more, and its a zoo. It was probably wrong but I saw something that said they have 233 species of crocks, Are there that many species? The customers are a lot of locals with their children, and tourist with their children, and baby alligators getting their picture taken with children.

Don't let the name confuse you - a must visit especially with children and grandchildren. There is a zip-line for adults and children in the Farm Park. More than alligators - crocodiles, reptiles, snakes, parrots, herons, macaws, egrets and thousands of other different named birds flying and nesting in the Park - from America and places around the world. See the staff feed the alligators and handle snakes and wildlife up close and tell you more about the exhibits. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the large Park with lots to see and do inside and outside of many buildings in the Farm Park. Lots to eat in the Park as well - snacks and drinks.

There are all kinds of crocodiles to see. Most of the time they do nothing but lie around lazily. But the entrance tickets are just too expensive at around $35 for what you can see.

We really enjoyed this experience. It was appreciated that the place has a lot of shade as we were visiting in July. We saw many alligators, exotic ducks, swans, sloths, toucan, macaw, and much much more. We enjoyed watching the alligators at feeding time. The kids and the adults loved this experience.

Great selection of gators/crocs. Probably the most impressive alligator collection anywhere. There are fun areas for kids and really good shows. A must see place!

This was an interesting place to visit! I was amazed by all the different kinds of alligators and crocodiles! It was hard to find parking, it was pretty crowded. Purchasing tickets in advance didn't keep you from waiting in the long line, so don't bother with buying them in advance. A bird crapped on my hat, so i would recommend wearing one in case you get bombed!! It was definitely worth the time, they have lots of other animals as well.

While the alligators were fun and plentiful. We visited during nesting season and there were tons of birds in every tree! We saw them building nests, some babies and did I say TONs of birds!
We attended two shows - both fun, but VERY short. It might have been nice to have longer shows with more information provided.

Probably the best attraction in Saint Augustine. Tons of alligators and some other animals. Catch a feeding if you can!

Go for the birds!! The gators are fine but we love to Rookery- if you’re in area March-June and want to see Florida birds in their natural environment spend time here! Pass is good for all day so we visited in the morning and loved it so much returned later the same day!

Being from South Florida and growing up around animals, I was afraid this may be a tourist trap. We were greatly mistaken. It was fantastic! The variety of the animals and the displays they were in were quite impressive. We would definitely go back again next time we’re in town.

Wonderful place, our kids (20 months & 3-1/2) loved it. It’s beautifully maintained and a lot to see. The price is worth it!
We also were surprised and got to go during rookery season. We saw all the baby spoonbills, egrets, herons, etc. very cool.

Fulfilling our Florida Bucket List and had a great visit at the Gator Park. A short drive from Jacksonville. Not over-crowded and not over-priced (considering the care and cleanliness of the park). The food at the snack bar was plentiful (we ordered too much!) and the souvenir cups allowed us to fill up all day long. We had initially purchased the zip line tickets, but when our smallest got cold feet, they gladly refunded our party. The animals are well cared for. The place is spotless. We don't have a need for an annual pass, but it was fun and would definitely go again if we have company in town or in a few years.

I was surprised at the size of this place. From the outside, I expected a few ponds with alligators, and maybe a few display cases. But it is decent sized.
My favorite part was the swamp/Bird Rookery. This was the only place on our trip I saw any roseate spoonbills. They are not captive, but rather come back to have their chicks.
The crocodile exhibits were also very impressive. Most I had never seen before.
The food stand inside the park is kind of expensive, and it takes a while to get your food. It was pretty good, though!
We spent about two and a half hours total.

A whimsical wonderland where the gators sway.
From crocs to caimans, and alligators too,
A scaly adventure awaits just for you!
With jaws wide open and tails that swish,
You’ll see creatures that make you wish,
For a closer look at the wild and grand,
In this park where excitement is always at hand.
Watch the birds as they soar and swoop,
And marvel at the creatures who gracefully loop.
The thrills are plenty, the learning is vast,
An outing here is a total blast!
So grab your hat and camera tight,
For a day full of fun and reptile delight.
The Alligator Farm is a true treasure,
A unique experience beyond all measure!

A great day ! Really enjoyed seeing all of the animals. The many different alligators is amazing. Seeing them fed was so cool!

If you have a zoo membership, check if your zoo has reciprocity with the Alligator Farm. You will save yourself a lot of money; just remember to bring your zoo membership card.
There is a parking lot and on street parking. You can bring in your own food and drink which is very nice and makes the outing more affordable.
The alligators and birds are very well fed and weren't really interested in the 25 cent food you can purchase from the little machines. But it's worth a try so remember to bring quarters.
There are hourly shows BUT only a couple of shows are for feeding the alligators. This really draws a crowd. I really expected to see the gators going for the chicken but not so much. We did not stick around for the second feeding.
We were in such a rush to make the gator feeding we missed the little gator exhibit and the albino gator which is near the front of the zoo. We were glad we saw those exhibits on our way out.
We loved the Native Swamp & Rookery area. You can watch the birds buidling their nests. You can also watch them feeding their young. This is an area you can really linger in.
Our other favorite was the Gomek Forever exhibit. This is truly fascinating. Make sure you watch the video which isn't very long. Extremely interesting.
The rest of the farm is okay. Hard to see the gators/bids/animals in a lot of the exhibits due to the glare on the glass. The alligator farm is a nice size but it isn't overly large.
This is an expensive outing. We were there maybe 2 hours. It was really warm and there aren't a lot of places to sit down. Another reason to see the Gomek Forever exhibit. It is inside and air conditioned.
We are glad we came because we had a zoo membership with reciprocity. Without that it would have cost $70 for 2 people. Too expensive.

Loved seeing the baby crocodilians. They are absolutely adorable. I'm also a huge fan of hornbills, so them having a pair of knobbed hornbills and a pair of white-crowned hornbills was a plus. Also, the only place on earth with all 24 species of crocodilians!!!!

All kinds of reptile & bird species here. (Along with a few new mammal friends...) Alligators, Crocodiles, Caiman & much much more!

This was so much fun! We did the zipline only, and the more challenging zip line course. If you want to visit this place, but you’ve got a child that isn’t into zoos, I’d highly recommend the zipline only. You’re up high, so you can see everything, but you don’t have to deal with any crowds, etc. it’s also a great workout! We’re very in shape and it was still a fun challenge for us. Plan on two hours and just be sure to hydrate and use the bathroom before you take off. They do have water stations on the course, which is fabulous!
Felt very safe and felt that the price point was justified. All in all, a great day!

My wife and I did not know exactly what to expect when we decided to visit the Alligator Farm but it exceeded all expectations. The facility was well run, clean, and educational. Think of it as a top end Zoo specializing in reptiles and birds. The exhibits were well put together and easily accessible with a very open feel to it. We observed several school/camp field trips in attendance and the kids seemed to all be having a great time. Highly Recommend.

This is my 3rd or 4th time visiting the Alligator Farm but it’s been a few years. This was my first time with my 2 granddaughters- 3 and 20 months. It was fun, but they were done after about an hour and a half. They were only interested in the alligators and crocodiles for a while and feeding them was fun. We arrived too late for the 12:00 show and they were ready to go before the 3:-show. The prices have increased and at $35 for each adult (x5) and $20 for the 3year old (under 2 was free) … it was quite an expensive trip. At that price point, I was hoping that they had added some other animals. I would recommend this for older kids… but don’t spend this kind of money on the toddlers.

Our family of five had a great time at the park. Excellent exhibits of reptiles and we were literally inches from newly hatched chicks! Good signage and kind staff. Go at opening time to avoid the heat!

Great place to see Gator's up close and personal. We needed a wheel chair to take it all in, and they were available but it was difficult to get up and down necessary ramps. It was worth the effort but wore us out. Great Gator stories and displays. Try the zip line method of visiting the Park.

Love the Zipline, the walking thru the Gators was amazing. Seeing the babies and the entire thing was awesome.

This was a lot of fun - even for four adults with no children. The park was very clean. The staff were very knowledgeable and very kind. The number and size of the gators/crocs was amazing. It was fun day. Plenty of shade. Plenty of drinks and snacks available. Easy walking. Would recommend. Take your AAA card - and get a great discount.

This is a must if you are in the St. Augustine area. So much fun walking around and learning about the alligators and crocodiles. We missed the feeding. That was probably very good too.

If you are looking for something other than old town or the beaches, the Alligator Farm is the place. They have a nice variety of crocs and alligators as well as birds and other mammals, so lots of see. Mostly shaded too, so you don’t get too hot (most of the time). If you are interested in animals, it is worth a trip, although the price tag seems a bit high to me ($36 for an adult).

The entrance into Alligator Farm is similar to what you’d expect from your hometown zoo. But then! As you round the bend, you see so many GIANT alligators!!! So many of them! It was breathtaking to see. I’ve seen alligators here and there before (like at the everglades), but never in my life up close like what you experience here. Hearing about how “a gator can get 15 feet” is a lot different than seeing a colossal gator right under the bridge you’re standing on! You can’t help but feel like you’re walking among living dinosaurs (or maybe that’s just me). Definitely check out the shows. If you have to pick one, pick the feeding one. It’s so fun to see the gators making their way towards their snack and reaching up to grab it. They knew the difference between their snack and the hand feeding them.
There’s so much to see here. There was one enclosure with baby gators that we spent a lot of time at. We counted six babies, but a worker overheard us and told us there were actually 28 hatchlings! Then we really looked and saw a connected part of the exhibit, and there was a whole pond full of cute little ones!
But, you guys, the alligators are just the beginning. They have crocodiles, a komodo dragon, colorful birds, and many different types of animals. They even have a sloth! It was an enjoyable and unique experience.

We actually viewed the park “from above”. We took our 11yo granddaughter to St. Augustine for the weekend. We decided to try the zip line experience at the Alligator farm, which was close to our hotel. We chose the longer of the 2 available courses. After a safety briefing, we enjoyed approximately an hour and a half of challenging and thrilling fun. I lost count of how many different zip lines there are, plus other obstacles like rope bridges. All of it takes place in the trees above the alligators and crocodiles. But we felt absolutely safe the entire time. The system they use literally keeps you safely connected for the entire time. We recommend this experience highly, and will be back with the other granddaughters, for sure.

Coming from the midwest, the alligator farm exposed us to a great deal of new information and interesting views. I highly recommend it.

Came here a few times as a kid, moved away and came back with my husband. He enjoyed his time there. It was very hot and not packed on a Monday. We watched one zookeeper feed and talk about the alligators and what they eat etc. It was a good end of day adventure.

Hundreds of alligators and a handful of other animals. Rookery is amazing. Gets a bit tedious, so don’t plan to spend too long there. Highly recommend a behind the scenes tour.

What a beautiful park! We have never been this close to these creatures before. Who knew that there were so many types of alligators and crocodiles! Other wildlife we saw were birds, turtles and reptiles. The park is well laid out and easy to navigate. We were lucky to be here at feeding time! One of the highlights was seeing Maximo a large (15 feet 3 inch) salt water crocodile. Don’t worry he is safely behind a thick underwater viewing window. They offer a zip line across the park. However my extreme fear of being eaten did not allow me to do a test drive!

This place was so cool to visit. Very educational and lots of fun 👍it was super busy but we got right in and the crowd was spread out once we entered.

My wife and I are senior citizens and we did the zip line course! It was a ball and a touch difficult but the Alligator farm was phenomenal and the staff was so good to us. I highly recommend going to see the exhibits and if you are in p pretty good shape, zip on thru the park.

We spent a rainy afternoon at the park, and even the weather didn’t hamper the fun. While it’s not a very big park, we spent several hours Walking around and looking at the exhibits, shows, and gift shop. Much of the park offered enough shelter to stay dry as we looked around and walk the exhibits. Snacks at the shop were reasonably priced. Plenty of room for visitors to enjoy the show without being shoulder to shoulder. Kids love it. Rain or shine this is a good go to. They also take a AAA discount

Absolutely blast! So many kinds of alligators & crocodiles! Lots to learn and nice enclosures. There are lots of trees for shade and smooth paths. It’s extremely accessible - there are even special glass viewing spots for wheelchairs.

We decided to do some sightseeing here in St Augustine because it is too cold for the beach and too windy to ride a cycle. We saw the Alligator Farm and wanted to check it out. It is a great place for all. For kids and adults. Hours of fun here with lots of info and unique animals. There are all kinds of exotic animals. Beautiful birds, and a Lemur and a Komodo dragon. There was even Cassowaries! One of my favorites was the Two Toe Sloth! There are so many different alligators and also crocodiles. An exhibit for Maximo, the biggest alligator there (almost 16 ft.). A story about Gomek, the larger alligator in captivity, now gone but beloved. It is a beautiful park. They have food for a quarter in machines to feed the animals. Really cool is the giant turtles.
Though I loved going here, I always think how sad it is that these animals have to live in captivity. Do they really like this life? Should they live behind bars without committing any crime except being unique and an attraction? I don’t know if this is fair? They seemed to be treated well and it is a great opportunity to see these beautiful animals.

Fun time and worth the money. If you want to spend the time to walk each exhibit there are plenty of captions explaining in detail where every crocodile, alligator or other animal (yes they had lots more than just alligators) came from, the endangered status and more.
There was a bird show (with parrots and macaws), alligator feeding and if you time the day correctly a feeding of their giant alligator (Maximo).
There is a snack stand with what you would expect if you get thirsty or hungry.
There is plenty of shade but we were here in February so the weather as almost perfect to walk around without melting in the typical Florida heat.

So many alligators, like too many alligators. Alligators stacked on alligators, on alligators, most in dirty smelly water. The “feeding” was disappointing. It was 20 alligators clamoring for three large rats. Seeing the unique and rare crocodiles was interesting but Steve Irwin would probably hate this place.

We were amazed at the number and type of alligators and crocodiles. Some of them were so big!
We would of enjoyed learning more about how they raise & possibly release the alligators that are born there. The two shows that we attended were interesting but pretty short.

The alligator farm is right across the street from the lighthouse. It appears small from the road, but once you get inside you will find that it is well keep and spacious. You can view a variety of alligators, crocodiles and wildlife. Be sure to bring your quarters so you can buy gator food. Allocate about 2 hours to meander through the premises.

It went on forever I've never seen so many alligators and crocodiles in one place and so many varieties It is far better than Gator world in Orlando well worth the money to come visit

The alligator farm was interesting and informative, but not worth the money spent for the entrance. They had many alligators and crocs from all around the world. Also liked the story about Gomek. They were not feeding the alligators due to the colder temperatures, so that was a disappointment. The facility seemed to need some TLC.

I was somewhat skeptical as to this attraction, thinking it might be a bit corny. Boy was I pleasantly surprised. Well laid out, very interesting and fun for the whole family. Well worth the trip, look for coupons or think about the annual passes for the best value

My review is very specific regarding their "shows" and exhibitions, even those outside of the farm. I only visited this place because I was a chaperone for my child's school trip, and I didn't want to be the bad mom who wouldn't let them go.
What I observed was a clear case of animal exploitation. The alligators did not seem to be well taken care of, and the "tricks" they performed absolutely appeared to involve torturing the animals. Alligators are wild creatures and are not meant to learn tricks, nor should they be petted or handled in this manner. This is exploitation!
Recently, I attended the St. Augustine Christmas parade, where the alligator farm showcased their business. They had two baby alligators completely restrained with their mouths and limbs tied, while women moved their arms as if the gators were "waving" to the crowd. It was pure torture!
Please do not visit places that subject animals to such treatment.

Plenty of shade for a hot day. The birds were amazing, This was a great time of year to visit because of the baby birds and nesting,

Nice set up but too many people to get a good view of demonstrations…. I guess this set up for that could be a little better (as grandma was in a wheelchair). Kids really liked it and we easily spent 2.5 hours seeing the exhibits. The price is a little outrageous, but we learned of a large discount with reciprocal zoo agreement which really softened the blow. Zip Lining was fun too, but the staff were very moody and frankly rude - not much help, but we figured it out. Regardless, if you have young to teen kids these are must dos.

This place has every species of croc. Need I say more.
They have endangered species like Cuban crocs, Chinese crocs and gharials as well as the most massive saltwater croc I've ever seen.
It also has a much cleaner and nicer atmosphere compared with gatorland (which I also love) and a greater variety of wildlife to view.
.

If you like reptiles, this is a very interesting place with lots of American alligators and other crocodiles. The presentations are informative and the sounds of bellowing gators is awesome!

Our first time here. We really enjoyed ourselves. We were told they have 600-800 gators there. Lots of gator bites. Really a nice park, well kept. Lots of other birds, snakes ,monkeys, etc. Had a fun time, HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

This "theme park" is more than 100 years old and they do a great job with both the grounds and the alligators. Plus they have birds and some lemurs. Everything is outdoors and the animals do not seem penned in. Very knowledgable staff are on hand to answer questions. We sat through a little presentation on tropical birds. The gift shop was a bit cheesy but the park experience was great.

We live in Florida, so maybe it's because we have seen a lot of these animals in other places, but this park just wasn't worth the admission price for us. Everglades Wonder Gardens in Bonita has more variety for half the price, although, to be fair, this is an alligator/reptile park. The park was clean and spaces for the animals were well kept, the park employees were friendly, but there just wasn't enough to hold our interest. It's something we had always wanted to do in St. Augustine, but I don't think we will go back, especially not for the price.

Beautiful town. Very crowded (Wednesday). Jam packed with good restaurants and small shops. I think I could spend a full day there.

Top 5 things to do in St. Aug. Not too big, not too small. Lots of shade and great exhibits. March-June is peak time for Native birds and their hatchlings.

This place was so cool and unique! They have every species of alligator you can see. We spent around 4 hours here, so I think was a great value for money. They also have alligator feeding demonstrations and other shows. They also had a great selection of lunch food. This was one of the highlights of our trip!

This is NOT a tourist trap. It is educational, interesting and well worth the money. You get up close to a lot of animals including thr largest alligator I have ever seen. We did not try the zip line which is touristy and my advise is to spend your time inside the park. There is plenty to see.

We came here at 9 am when they first opened. The property is well maintained and marked. Easy to navigate to see all the alligators, crocodiles from several continents. The alligator lagoon is what we used as the "center" of the park, walked over to the lemurs, they totally stole the show. The lemurs were very active, we thoroughly enjoyed watching them for a while.
They now have Maximo, a massive, 15-foot-3-inch, 1,250-pound saltwater crocodile. There is also a special exhibit for Gomek, the enormous 17-foot-9-inch crocodile weighing at almost 2,000 pounds. Lived to be around 70 before he died of a heart attack.
To our surprise, it was rookery season. We had no idea, what a bonus. We have never seen roseate spoonbills. They really stood out in the greenery with their bright pink feathers, busy fetching sticks to build their nests. So many white egrets too, nesting in colony. What an amazing sight. The experience really was life changing for us, surpassing all the alligators and crocodiles!
There were a lot of photographers from all around the area vying for spots to capture the many species here. Too bad we do not live locally, the rookery is a place that you could enjoy for many many months to come. Just imagine when the chicks are active.
Very lucky we got to visit this very special place.

Never knew how many different species of crocodiles and alligators there are in the world til I came here. You really learn alot bout them. Our trip here was amazing and can't wait to come back. See how big some can get will make you think. Goemeck was huge and the new one they have is wow. It was a great outdoor trip to go here. The shows they put on were fun and we even took pictures with giant tortoises. Best day ever in my book. Cant wait to come back.

Took a chance in hopes this wouldn’t be a tourist trap. While not a huge zoo, it’s specialization of alligators and crocodiles was impressive. At ‘The Swamp’ there’s an active rookery with many species of birds rostering and tending to chicks, very cool to see (just watch the flying poop). Chance to feed juvenile alligators was fun and the children around us really enjoyed it. Would be a great place to visit with family. There was also a zip line available for the more adventurous folks!

As soon as we walked in, the staff was every welcoming and nice. They told us exactly what we needed to know and where to go. We got the map and started walking around. We were just an hour away from the second feeding of the day. The feeding was so fun to watch and Lauren was very knowledgeable about each alligator. She also knew each of them by name!!! We had the best time walking around and seeing all the different types of alligators and crocodiles. They have an awesome snack bar that serves beer and other alcoholic beverages to enjoy while walking around! I would go here again and again! Love love love this place!!

It's been about 10 years since we last visited the alligator farm, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Got there in plenty of time to see the alligator feeding - be sure not to miss this - it's absolutely delightful/kind of frightening! We only stayed about 45 minutes, but took in the Komodo dragon, snakes, and other reptiles, and of course, the baby alligators, the crocodiles, and the "big boys." If you have kids, this is a must-do.

Who knew there were so many different types of alligators and crocodiles? Great place to visit with the whole family. If you visit during the summer - drink lots of water, this is mostly outdoors, but worth the sweat.

I am not usually a zoo fan and the majority of private zoos and animal experiences are actually cruel and horrific.
BUT, this place is so cool. Where else do you get to get up close to this many species? Where else do you get to toss pellets to a swarm of gators from a boardwalk?
The employees were friendly and *most* guests practiced distancing and wore masks in congested areas.
The downside? It's pretty spendy for a smallish zoo.... But the animals are pretty amazing.

Wow! This is such a great family friendly place to go. We enjoyed being able to see the Alligator feed. Love that it is kid friendly. Has play ground, snack bar was good too.
Pretzels to lunch foods.

Nesting birds. It was an awesome experience. Between the birds and the display of all the different alligators and crocodiles it was well worth the money.

Adults and teens both loved this park. It is on the smaller side but lots to do and we loved watching them feed the alligators.

We are not fans of zoo or even alligators but love this place! It’s such a nice area and in the spring Floridas native birds nest here and seeing the babies up close is amazing!

We had an amazing time doing the advanced Nile course! It is definitely a challenge, but so fun and exhilarating! My 8 year old and 11 year old loved it and my husband and I were sore for two days after :)

We ended up here for four hours. The feeding shows were great and the rookery was amazing. I could have watched the birds all day long! They had babies and they were everywhere! The cutest little birds in nests right over the alligators. We were told they build over the alligators because there are less predators there. We were able to buy alligator food and feed them. We also did the behind the scenes tour. It was okay. I was hoping to touch or hold a baby. It was an informative talk about some of the alligators that aren’t on display. We also talked about the cassowary. It’s a nice area with lots to see.

This was a little bit of a disappointment. I’m not sure if the gators are happy or not. The enclosures look small. Smells bad.

This is a great 1/2 trip! Allows you to see the alligators, snakes, crocodiles etc and gives you time to do something else. Don't miss the alligator feeding! The birds are magnificent and you'll see tons of bird enthusiasts with cameras taking photos. Despite the protective fences, you are really up close to the wildlife!

Nice place to visit if you want to see aligators! its not too small and not too big! its a good place for families .
Lots and lots of aligators to see- has basic information available - would benefit from having people walking around that you could talk to and ask questions but all in all it was good.

My wife and I and our 3 young children recently visited the Alligator Farm. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed our visit (and we did as well). There were so many different varieties of alligators and crocodiles, and there were many other animals as well. Highly recommend!

We have children age 4-12. They enjoyed it so much my youngest wanted to go back later in the day. We went early and spent almost 3 hours in the park and certainly could have stayed longer, but the heat was too much. We saw 2 alligator shows and they were both great and educational. The theatre is closed due to COVID, but everything else is open. Don’t forget the quarters because they have machines where you can get food to feed the gators for a quarter. My kids loved that part. There are more than gators too, which made the experience even more exciting. My husband and I both went as kids, but haven’t been since and it was even more exciting as an adult I think. The playground area, digging areas, etc are still all open, but they do ask that you wear a mask in the indoor exhibits. We will certainly be back!

Amazing the many kinds of reptiles they had. We have never seen albino alligators. The birds are beautiful. Watching them feed the reptiles make you aware how powerful they are. Well worth the tour.

This attraction was within minutes of our vacation timeshare. We throughly enjoyed our visit and the emphasis on conservation. There were LOTS of gators to view, different species of gators and crocodiles, in addition to celebrities housed in their own enclosures. Exhibits also included birds and tortoises. Would be a great educational trip for a family. Enjoy!

My family of 4 (2 adults, a 10 yo, and a 6 yo) visited here on 4/6 during our Spring Break vacation in the Saint Augustine area. The kids were thrilled with all of the alligators, crocodiles, and other animals there! It’s a much bigger attraction than you would think from the outside! Our kids’ favorite was Maximo! I enjoyed seeing the King Cobra snake and Komodo Dragon! We got to see a presentation in the main “alligator swamp” which was cool to see. I must warn anyone planning on going that the birds nesting there are all over the place and can drop “presents” from the sky at anytime, LOL! We spent about 2 hours there and feel that we got our money’s worth. This is a must do attraction if visiting the Saint Augustine area!

This was a fun experience. The design of the park is very nice, lots of shade. Plenty of gators to see! There were other fun animals to see as well.

Over priced. Got thru it pretty quickly. Kids enjoyed seeing some of it but it just wasn’t worth the money you have to pay.

Seeing different animals and the alligators. Also seeing them get fed. It's definitely worth visiting if in St Augustine on vacation. I recommend everyone to visit the alligator farm.

If you like alligators, you will love this little spot. Professionally managed without being overly academic. It's a specialty zoological park, not a petting zoo.

This place is awesome! Went with the family and spent the day. Such a great time. If you compare it to Disney's Living With The Land ride and backstage tour with the American Alligators, there is no comparison. It makes that experience look like it was built by a high school kid for a science fair project. There are several interesting exhibits to take in and a ton of live wildlife to view and learn about. They seem to take conservation efforts here seriously and offer several ways to donate to the cause. The place is even on the list of Historical Places as it has been around since 1839! Prices are reasonable and the money we saved by not going to Disney allowed us to have the kids take part in the ropes course and zip line course next door. They had a great time. We would definitely visit this place again!

We went through the zip line at the alligator park.
It’s really more of an obstacle course than a zip line.
I would not recommend this for younger kids (under 15) or adults who are not strong,
Zip line is only a small portion of this course

Highly recommended, but we did not find it so. Very crowded and more expensive than other animal sites. Would not recommend unless you are into alligators and crocodiles.

St. Augustine is basically a huge tourist trap. The Alligator Farm is basically the oldest “attraction” in Florida, so they’ve had a lot of time to perfect their act.
Admission was $69 for two of us after a 10% discount. My wife thought I’d “enjoy” it.
Let’s begin with the most depressing. Everyone says “don’t miss the alligator feeding.” It’s a big “event” at the Farm and two times were “posted” on the day we visited.
Let me correct the record: you won’t be missing anything.
Anyone who has seen alligators in their native habitat, like in the lagoons off “Alligator Alley”, knows that they are generally lethargic. So lethargic my wife asked “How do you know they’re not dead?” And apparently they generally aren’t hungry very often, either.
It was chilly when we visited, and the weather the few days before had been cloudy and raining. The day following that, on the day that we visited, the sun was out and all the alligators wanted to do was lie in the sun and soak some of it up.
The “feeding” consisted of a keeper throwing 4 or 5 dead rats (big ones though) 50-100 feet in different directions, apparently so everyone surrounding the lagoon could see some “action”.
He’d almost have to hit the alligator with the rat in order to get its attention. The nearest alligator would generally roll its head to the side, grab the “live” meal and gulp it down. Only one alligator found a rat worth moving any distance for.
To observe this “don’t miss” spectacle mind you, the entire fence around the lagoon was crowded with people two and three deep.
I was amazed to discover that there were so many different types of crocodiles. The Farm seems to have one of each, but unless you’re really into crocodiles it’s pretty much “if you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all”.
My take on the alligators and crocodiles? A lot of big sad animals in small enclosures. A lot of screaming kids were apparently impressed though.
The other attraction is birds, and they have a bunch. There is an open aviary where some amazing native birds like the Roseate Spoonbill are free to come and go and you can actually get quite close to them.
The birds fly and nest overhead. “Drop zone” warnings are posted and visitors near these areas are encouraged to wear a hat for obvious reasons. I wore a new dark blue hat with a large brim and when I looked at it after our visit I was surprised to count a large number of curious white specs.
I spoke with a young keeper repairing a fence and asked her about some of the birds. She proud of the fact that she worked primarily with the birds and know a lot about them and their individual histories. Some of the birds that arrive at the Farm are incapable of flight for one reason of another. Others have their wings clipped in order to render them flightless (a good idea when surrounded by so many alligators). She seemed genuinely concerned for the animals in her care. Speaking with the keepers may be the best way to learn about some of the animals you will see there.
The attraction’s latest addition is two zip line courses which will set you back $40 or $70 depending on which one you choose. Looked scary to me but the young people seemed to be having a good time.
Been there. Done that.
Nope. Won’t be going back.

This is much more than an animal farm. It's a great place to learn about alligators, birds, and snakes. There are educational shows every hour. we tried to catch all of these.

All kinds of animals to see here not just alligators. However if you're here specifically for alligators you definitely won't be disappointed as they have a Ton. Unexpectedly clean bathrooms, not usually seen with relatable places. Also great souvenir cups were available, love the albino alligator cup!

This was a great experience even for teens! It’s much more than alligators, you can see birds, snakes, turtles, and a Komodo dragon. It is very shady which makes the walking enjoyable even in the summer.

This was fabulous, love the conservation efforts!!! We learned a lot about the over 700 alligators and crocodiles, will definitely be back!!!

It was my husband's choice to go here and both of us enjoyed it very much. He was very interested in the animals and I was busy looking at plants much of the time. I was surprised that there were a lot of other animals besides alligators.
We spent about an hour looking around and then it was time for the next show to start. Unfortunately the seating is benches, so I was unable to watch, and it was not going to be an alligator show.
More resting benches are needed throughout this place in general, and a little maintenance attention to the beautiful potted plants that are the first thing one sees after paying the entrance fee and going through the doorway into the park. We almost did not go in after glancing through the door. That particular view is not as well done as most of the park, not putting their best foot forward, so to speak. After looking around for an hour, my impression was that the park is interestingly decorated and, for being outside in FL, noticeably maintained. A sprinkler system to keep the landscaping plants rinsed of bird poo more often could be a great improvement.

We absolutely loved our visit to the park. We assisted a show and a feeding and we were so impressed by the number of species in this park! The feeding was especially our favorite... 150 alligators all at once biting off a rat! Wow!
We loved it! Thanks!

Three adults spent 4 hours here observing and learning about the wide variety of alligators, alligator-likes, birds, and reptiles in this nicely laid out zoological park. There are great trees for shade throughout, informational presentations, feedings, a snack bar, and a beautiful gift shop. If you want more adventure, there's also a ropes course/zipline over the habitats. Impressive variety of exhibits and artwork and wildlife.

You might think this is one of those kitschy tourist traps, BUT IT'S NOT! There are some silly aspects, just enough for a couple chuckles, but you can tell the professionals here love their jobs and love to share what they do.

This place was great. Bring some quarters for alligator food. I recommend going early in the day. The rookery was a welcome surprise. Bring some binoculars or a Really nice camera with a zoom lens.

Mid July is extremely hot! Very busy. We enjoyed seeing the gators but the heat hindered the experience. It’s a good experience but I don’t think we will do it again.

A lot of the exhibits were hard to see through acrylic windows that reflected my own reflection in them instead of allowing me to see through to the animals. However, that was more than made up for in the boardwalk where there were so many different birds and including many baby birds just hanging out all over the place.

I begin a lot of my reviews with, "We've been coming to St. Augustine for years..." My son just turned 21 and we have been coming since he was 8. This year we made our second trip ever to the Alligator Farm and why? Because we wanted to see the birds. We have been here once before awhile ago, but now my wife and I have gotten more interested in photographing birds. This is the place to do that. The Rookery is really an amazing place. Make no mistake, this place is expensive at $27 per adult to get in but it was worth it for us and we got to see some beautiful birds and captured some remarkable images that would be 200 times for difficult to get in the wild. We saw roseate spoonbills, great egrets, tri-colored herons, wood storks, snowy egrets, and more. There are plenty of gators and lemurs and tortoises to see as well. The attraction also now includes a zip line and ropes-type course I don't remember being there before. Plenty to do. But if you like birds, bite the bullet on the entry fee and go.

This is a great family outing. If like birds or gators and want to see them outside of a zoo, this is the spot for you. For bird folks, mid may is the best time to go as all the birds are nesting and many have chicks. Keep in mind that the birds are not exhibits. They are wild and do what wild birds do. So where a broad rimmed hat lest you get christened as one flies over or you walk beneath a nest.

Lots of things to see. Animals appear well cared for. Lots of things to entertain kids. Easy Covid friendly trip

I found myself with a free day while waiting for my sister to join me in St. Augustine’s. I couldn’t have found a better way to spend the day! The zoo/farm is beautiful and the selection of alligators was fascinating. The biggest and best surprise was the rookery; the birds were just feet away. I highly recommend a visit to this location whether you’re solo or with family.

A wonderful educational experience. I am not sure what I was expecting going to an Alligator Farm but I was pleasantly surprised. This little gem rivals any mid-sized zoo that I have ever been to. The enclosures are well kept, the animals are well cared for, and the whole park provides an exceptional educational experience. I would recommend the Sloth Encounter. We did it and it was worth every penny to feed the sloth. The keepers are extremely knowledgeable and enjoy interacting with the visitors. The educational shows were great, I saw three. The feeding of Maximo and Sydney was breath-taking. To watch those two crocodiles jump out the water was thrilling. The animals are well taken care of and this facility is participating in captive breeding programs for extremely endangered animals. The cantina was reasonably priced for food. A great day.

We had lots of fun watching the Alligator shows. The slots and the birds are great too. There is also zip lining in the canopy for the bigger kids. Never seen so many alligators in one place. Some Crocs too.

My grandson liked the zip line. But to let everyone know it's not a traditional zip line. It involves climbing partially up trees, across rope bridges and other obstacles in between the zip lines. Also important that I never saw on line is a AAA discount of 10% on all tickets including the zip line. I also recommend you take bug spray. A small can is $10 at the gift shop. It wasn't mosquitoes, it was biting flies. 12:00 noon and 3:00 are feeding time and kids love the gators that jump for the dead rats. It's ok for adults. Kids were a little more into it. Teenagers, it's all about the zip line. I enjoyed seeing the pink spoonbills. It's just very hot in July. There is no place to eat inside and it was frozen pizza and pretzels

Family friendly all ages, good parking, handicap accessible, and just clean all over. I give it a 💯

Very neat place to see. Nice shows every hour about different animals they have there. They have a swamp with at least 100 alligators that you can feed. It’s not too big either. Easy to navigate and check everything out.

At first was a bit disappointed, but then with walking around, we enjoyed seeing the gators and learning the differences. I was a bit concerned that there were too many for the small amount of water they had to share and whether it was environmentally sound. Great to see the natural rookery, egrets in mating plumage and other birds. Fun to watch kids (and adults) on zip line with various reactions.

Had such a great time at the Alligator Park. This is by far the best alligator park we have been to. My favorite section was the rookery filled with hundreds of nesting birds above the alligator swamp. Do watch where you're walking - keep note of the birds above!
So many different alligator and crocodile species of all sizes in the park.

Really nice zoo, we liked how the animals were displayed and very clean. Many different alligators and crocs from all over the world to see. There were other animals to see as well. We had lunch at the snack bar; food was very good and reasonably priced. Definitely would go back.

What an amazing place! The staff were so friendly, and it was fascinating learning so much about all of these animals. Who knew? Great experience for all!

Zip lining was awesome! We did the Nile tour and it was so much fun. If it's in the hotter months go in the morning. But still so much fun. Definitely required some work on both of our parts but not too bad. It was so much and something we won't forget!

Yes, they have a lot of gators and croc’s but they have a lot more. Definitely worth the stop. The path runs a loop through the zoo and it takes a couple,of hours to see the whole thing, longer if you watch any of the shows or attend the feedings.

We loved this place. My favorite was the swamp and rookery areas. They had over 350 alligators of all types plus a cassowary, snakes and many exotic birds. There was a nice play area for children plus a gift shop and snack bar. The alligator feeding was cool and the other shows were short but well done. The pink bird with platypus beak was so cool. This place has been around for about 125 years I think.

It was a really great place for a quick visit. They have much more than just alligators. It took about 2 hours to see everything. Well worth the stop
Great place to take a young family
We took our daughter’s family, including our two year old grandson, for a visit today. We were impressed with the spaciousness and cleanliness of the park. Our grandson really enjoyed feeding the gators (there are machines that dispense dry kibble for 25 cents). The birds were beautiful too.
