If you have 2 hours to spend in Central FL area, the Stetson Mansion tour is not something you want to miss. A rich piece of history with plenty of inspiring stories and magnificent details throughout the mansion, which will linger for days even after the visit. You will be amazed by the craftsmanship, materials and constructions and more of the mansion and appreciated that it's preserved with efforts from so many people from the past. A truly amazing experience.

It was great to see the mansion decorated for Christmas. We learned they start decorating in June! The history of the mansion is very interesting. This is a must-see destination in Florida! Our tour guide was Candice, and she was fantastic!

We had a wonderful tour of the Christmas decorations throughout the Stetson Mansion. Our tour guide weaved some of the history of the Stetson family and the history of the home and its owners in with the background for the themes of each room as it’s decorated for the holidays. The home is truly a treasure to have been maintained all these years since being built in 1886. It is worth the trip to see the house, the property and the Holiday decorations. We will visit again to take the tour that goes into greater detail on the home and the history of the Stetson family.

I have been to see the Christmas decorations at the mansion for the last three years. It has always been a magical experience and the decorations exquisitely done. This year the house has new owners and the decorations were not nearly as well done as in the past. Some rooms that had previously been part of the Christmas tour were closed off. Overall, the tour was disappointing and in my opinion, not worth the price of admission. The addition of a QRC code to narrate the rooms was new and a good idea in concept, but it was not ideal to have everyone listening individually via their phones, especially without a headset. The narration was way longer than it needed to be for each room so I felt stuck in some rooms waiting for the narration to finish.

This was my 5th visit to the Stetson Mansion and I enjoyed it like it was me Very 1st!!!
I believe this mansion should be a National Treasure, for many reasons, foremost the Architecture and to preserve our national and our local Florida history.
Booking was easy peasy and the tour groups are always fun with the local guides to really bring it to life!!

My 7th or 8th visit and it still was as interesting and enjoyable as the first! So glad the new owners are continuing the tours and hope they also return the magic of Christmas with fantastic displays in each room. Thank you for another delightful day in Deland, FL!

Wonderful tour lead by Sally. There are two complimentary themes going on which justify two visits. The architectural information is substantial and this is the foundation for the Christmas experience. The owners/family have done a wonderful job highlighting the house’s inherent beauty with thoughtful and creative decorations. We can not take home the fine woodwork and glass, but we will borrow some of their Christmas ideas.

The Christmas tour was amazing! Each room was beautifully decorated with so much to see. My tour guide Malia was great, She knew her stuff and was very friendly.

Lori was a fantastic tour guide. She knew every detail about the mansion. I was not expecting to see so many Christmas decorations. The decorations were absolutely stunning, with each room decorated in a theme. I would love to go back for a history tour.

Art. Craft. History. Fun.
Our tour was so wonderful, I feel like family!
Highly recommended for everyone who has ever worn a hat!

Well worth the trip. Beautiful and historic. Christmas decorations were beyond any expectations. Very friendly staff.

This Christmas tour was stunning. So much love has gone into the decorations. The staff were very pleasant. The self guided tour was great because I could go at my own pace. The outdoors of the mansion were very relaxing.

Sharon was an amazing tour guide. Her second tour and she gave us a lot of history about the house and family. She also along with the owner told us about the airport grill where we saw parachutes while we ate. The whole experience was great.

Well worth the two hour drive!!! Our tour guide was wonderful and was very informative. I had already done the Christmas tour twice, but this tour was much more informative. Loved it!

This is the most overrated place we have ever been to. The gaudy Christmas decorations made it impossible to appreciate the nice old house. The rooms full of overloaded white LED lites on top of various artificial Christmas trees were everywhere. Total overkill. The only thing we could appreciate was the beautiful wooden floor tile work. but we couldn't see the antique fireplaces because they were jammed full of white lights and other junk. If you like tons of White Christmas trees with thousands of LED lights on them this is the place for you. Otherwise, you are wasting your money.

We returned to the Stetson Mansion for a second holiday tour, with our initial visit having been in 2023. The decorations are delightful and we always enjoy the guided tour. This season our tour guide was Malia and she was phenomenal. Her knowledge of the home's history and her engaging style made the visit truly special. If you haven't been to the mansion, please do take the opportunity to travel to Deland.

It was a wonderful tour! What an amazing house and historical preservation. Our guide was fabulous and we're so glad that we went. We will be back for the Christmas tour!

Our group of 18 neighbors enjoyed this tour so much we plan on returning in early spring for the historic tour of the mansion. The decorations were elegant and classy. Candace, our tour guide, was delightful. Her explanation of the mansion's architectural beauty and Christmas decor was exceptional as was her enthusiasm. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!

I, my wife and another couple took the Christmas tour of the Stetson Mansion yesterday.
We were all extremely impressed with the detail and thought that went into the beautiful decorations with each room having a different theme.
Alexi, our guide, was just great! She blended a small amount of the history of the mansion with her description of the decorations.
I'm a woodworker by hobby. I was so impressed with the woodworking everywhere I looked, in the floor, in the doorways and even in the support beams overhead.
I would love to see the infrastructure of the home that is still rock solid after 139 years. There were no "creeks" in the floor as you walked through!
I may go back and take the history tour after all of the decorations are put away.

This was my 4th trip to tour the Stetson Mansion for the Christmas Spectacular. Each year it is different but always gorgeous! The House itself is a work of art and shines on its own. Deland, Florida is lucky to have this well preserved gem in its midst.

Amazing experience! Beautiful architecture, stained glass windows, staircases, parlay floors, and beautiful manicured gardens and grounds. Tour was so interesting. Our guide was extremely knowledge and added some humor as well. I highly recommend this stunning mansion tour. We will be back again

The Stetson Mansion at Christmas is absolutely magical. Each room is decorated in abundance. We took the self-guided audio tour and spent a little over an hour wandering room to room. Now I want to go back to see the house unadorned, but the Christmas tour is an event not to be missed if you love a Victorian Christmas.

We have visited the Stetson Mansion for the past five years in a row, and several times before that. It is a special treat for us to see how each room and space is decorated. There is a whole new holiday theme every year. It is always exciting and absolutely beautiful. We appreciate that group size is just right. Our friendly tour guide always tells us some things we didn't know. This year, we enjoyed hearing a little more Stetson history along with the tour. We highly recommend a visit to this Florida treasure.

I have been to the Mansion for both the Christmas and Architectural tours. Both are amazing for their beauty and history. Nothing puts you in the Christmas spirit better then the Stetson Christmas tour.

My daughter and I took the Holiday Tour, led by Malia. She was incredibly knowledgeable and provided answers to all questions. The home is beautifully decorated and we went thru in an hour with a group of ten.

It was an amazing and educational tour. Our tour guide Alexis was awesome making it funny as she interjected her humor and knowledge of the home and area. I highly recommend this!

Beautifully decorated for the Holidays.
Our tour guide Maleia was fabulous and extremely knowledgeable. She told the story of each room with passion.
My Daughter and I can not wait to go back in the spring for the History tour.

The Christmas Spectacular at the Stetson house has become part of our annual Christmas tradition. When we learned last year that creators of this amazing spectacular were selling the house we were concerned that this would signal the end of another holiday tradition. We decided to give the new owners a try, and we are 100% glad we did. I never like remakes, they never seem to recapture the original excitement. The Jenning Family apparently does not like remakes either. This was no second rate copy, this was an amazing upgrade. Every room was amazing and I could have spent the entire day in the house without seeing all the details. The originally crafted items were obviously crated with a great deal of care and love. On several occasions I was sure I had seekn the best display, only to be even more amazed at the next turn. Our guide ALIX - added a theatrical flavor to her perfect narration and helped bring the experience to another level with her detailed explanation. If you like Christmas even a little, this is a must see. Do not miss the chance to see this for yourself.

Tour Guide Sally was fantastic with historical information, enthusiasm and humor. The Mansion’s architecture is breathtaking. The decorations were stunning, complex and beautiful. It was more than I expected, and I’ll return for another visit.

This was a wonderful informative and very interesting tour ~ we went together as a family and the three of us talked about it amongst each other afterwards and then again with friends , our age group varied 64, 60 ,28 and i highly recommend it for all , the tour guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable , the history of this beautiful historic mansion ~ landmark is a must see.

This is the first time we have visited the Stetson Mansion since it was purchased by the Jennings. We have visited 5 times through the years. We were anxious to see what the new owners did to decorate.
We throughly enjoyed the beautiful decorations & the themes throughout.
Lori was our tour guide. She was excellent & fun!
We got to know Michael & JT. They were always there when we visited & always looked forward to talking to them & making our Christmas pictures. We will miss them but look forward to getting to know the new owners.
We plan to come back in March & do the historical tour. We hope Lori will be our guide again. .

The Historic Tour was such a wonderful extension of our previous visit for the Christmas Tour last November. To see the beauty of the mansion itself in all its glory was breathtaking and educational. We so very much enjoyed our host and guide Kayla for her enthusiastic and knowledgeable dialogue throughout our time on the tour. Her own history in Deland only added to our experience. I am looking forward to returning for the Christmas at the Mansion Tour this year.

This home was transformed into a Christmas wonderland. The attention to detail was incredible each space had a unique theme, yet it all flowed together seamlessly. Highly recommend. The owner was delightful she took the time to talk with us to provide behind the scene details, the tour was beautifully organized. I left full of holiday cheer. I will definitely come back.

The guided tour at Christmas time was so beautiful and our guide Alix did a fantastic job of bringing the history to life!

So worthwhile! We live two hours away and never knew about this historical gem. We took the Christmas tour and the decorations were spectacular. Every room told a story and our tour guide did a fantastic job of packing in a ton of information. Will definitely return for the regular historical tour at some point. Thank you to the current owners for their stewardship of this precious slice of history!

I gifted my adult grands, my son, and myself with a Christmas Tour of the mansion this year. We were lucky to be there the day after Christmas, and it wasn't crowded, so we were able to chat with the docents at length, asking questions and gaining insights. The Christmas exhibits are spectacular; every room unique and worth spending time in. We're planning to return for the architectural/history tour this Spring, for more in-depth looks at features like the beautiful detailed flooring, moldings, and stained glass. What a treat!

The mansion is beautiful, you can't appreciate everything during just one visit. I will be going back and recommending this to friends.

The Christmas decorations were unbelievable. Very creative. The audio added to the experience. I just wish pictures were allowed.

What a wonderful day we had visiting this gem! The house and grounds are amazing and a definite must-see if you are in the area. Our tour guide, Kayla, was great. She provided very interesting and detailed information about the history of the property and previous owners. Her energy and love for the property is infectious!

It was a great experience. It is a beautiful home worth seeing. The guide was very knowledgeable and shared much information on Stetson and the home. It is truly worth the visit.

Took a docent tour w Malia. We wondered if the new owners would provide a Christmas experience as magical as in the past. THEY DID!! It was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. New themes, gorgeous decor, and great commentary. Definitely a "gem" in Florida for the holiday season. Don't miss it this year - totally new and awesome!

A most enjoyable tour filled with information about the house, the Stetson family and a bit of the history of Deland. Our guide, Sally, and the current owners have deep connections to the area so provide a personal touch to the experience. While not as grand as the Biltmore or the Newport RI "cottages," this home and tour provide an insight into life of the super wealthy in the late 1800's. The home almost went to the wrecking ball but was saved and meticulously renovated, preserving the glass and woodwork that miraculously survived years of neglect. We learned a lot and would highly recommend this to folks interested in history and architecture!

The Stetson was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our guide, Lori, did a great job. I saw the mansion a few years ago in the summer without a guide, but the guided tour was much better.

What a wonderful surprise! I can't say enough about the Mansion, the Staff, and Alix, my Tour Guide. I enjoyed the Holiday Theme Tour so much that I will visit again and then
return in February for the History Tour.

I’m so sorry for this review. I hate giving bad reviews. Nonetheless, here it is…
We went on this tour simply based upon the great reviews. We were really looking forward to seeing some great Christmas decorations in advance of our first Christmas shopping trip. Personally, I was looking forward to getting into the Christmas spirit. Unfortunately, I was grossly disappointed. I felt as if I were following my wife around the Christmas aisles at Hobby Lobby.
Upon going into the first room, I was completely overwhelmed. There were so many decorations that I lost sight of the beauty of the historic home. Holding back going into the second room hoping for a more accommodating view, it just added to my disappointment. And, this was the case for each room thereafter.
Now, don’t get me wrong, there were some in our group that loved what they saw so it’s purely a personal preference. It just wasn’t for us.
I was also disappointed that the tour seemed to be an homage to the new owners, who apparently recently bought this place. The tour guide brought up their name so much that I felt they were trying to make me feel bad for only paying $46 per ticket to make a trip to Michael’s.
All in, if you love rooms literally packed with Christmas decorations, then this is the place for you. If not, make a trip to DeBary Hall a bit south of this place and take a wonderful historic tour for around $5.

Fabulous Christmas tour and with some history! Mansion with Xmas decorations is stunning, and the theme changes each year. Definitely a labor of love! The woodwork in the floors and glass panels in the windows are just beautiful!

Recently visited to see the Christmas Spectacular . . . and it was just that, spectacular! The attention to detail in the strategically placed ornaments and distinctive decorations is incredible. The themed rooms were inspiring. The beauty of the displays are breathtaking and memorable.
The mansion is immaculately maintained and inviting. The porch has plenty of seating while waiting for the tour to commence. The woodwork, parquet floors and window panes are true works of art.
I am most appreciative for this tour and the opportunity to learn some of the history of Mr. Stetson (and various other influential individuals associated with him), the mansion itself and the months-long efforts undertaken to create a magical, memorable Christmas tour.
Visit the mansion to inspire the spirit of Christmas.

I did the Christmas Spectacular tour. It's a nice house, but for the price and the hype, I was really expecting something spectacular. It COMPLETELY fell flat. Some rooms were nicely decorated, but not anything that you wouldn't see at a nice hotel or country club. Some rooms were down right tacky, with poorly homemade decorations. The audio tour tells you just as much about the current owners as the Stetsons. I was really not interested in hearing about Mrs. Jennings childhood. No offense, but I would much rather hear about details of the house, the grounds and the Stetsons, not some woman I've never heard of.

This is a Florida hidden gem. I have lived here most of my life and never heard of the Mansion. It was well worth the charge and trip. The tour with all of the history knowledge was amazing. The Christmas decorations were unique, ornate and stunning. I will definitely be back for the Historical Tour.

Beautiful old fashioned home from 1886, with original patterned wooden floors and painted ceilings, warm woodwork, every room decorated for Christmas. It used to have over 300 acres, now it's down to 3 & a half acres. Perhaps he used the rest for the university? It was pricey ($43.00) but we'll worth it.

Very interesting tour of a very unusual home.
Our tour guide was excellent!
Open to questions and very informative to the not so common history of the home and occupants over the years.

We had a wonderful time at the mansion! Kayla was extremely knowledgeable about the house and history and just a fun gal to spend some time with. The house is spotless and dust free, which is amazing for how big it is! So glad we visited!

Visiting the Stetson Mansion during the Christmas season is one of my favorite things to do! It is so special that no one could be disappointed to see the wonder of the mansion. I always try to bring friends and family that haven’t experienced a tour there so I can see the delight on their faces. This would be a great Christmas gift for a friend as well.

Awesome tour loaded with history and interesting facts. Amazing house that reflects the love of the current owners. Definitely worth 5 stars.

We chose the guided Christmas tour. Every room was filled with originally designed Christmas themed decorations. Room after room was awe inspiring. Our guide, Lori, really made our tour a wonderful experience. She is pleasant, knowledgeable, explained the way the decorations were created, and helped our group learn the history of the Stetson Family and their contributions to the city of DeLand. Part of the tour is upstairs and our guide, Lori, assured me that the she and the others in the group would certainly wait while I and a few others who also use canes for assistance walking took the time necessary to negotiate the stairs.
Reservations to the tours are easy to make online. The mansion is conveniently located in the city with ample onsite parking. We highly suggest you visit for the Christmas tour or the history tours in the spring.

The Christmas decorations were lovely. The history of the home is so very interesting. Seeing the architectural elements and the decorative style of the home was the highlight of the tour. We spent about 30-45 minutes there.
Personally, I thought the price was a bit high for the experience. With tax it was about $35 per person. I would be more likely to come back if the price were a bit lower.

Took the guided Christmas tour. The mansion in itself is gorgeous and the Christmas decorating is spectacular. Lori, our guide was informative and very knowledgeable. Very fun experience. Would not recommend for children.

This was my first time experiencing this incredible display and tour! The only regret I have is having waited so long to see it! I highly recommend the guided tour ! Our guide was Malia and she was absolutely fantastic from beginning to end!

Such a beautiful Christmas tradition. The Stetson Mansion is so beautifully decorated it takes your breath away. Each room has a unique Christmas theme. No need to drive to see the Biltmore this is just as beautiful! Steeped in history this tour is a must for tourists and residents alike. You will not be disappointed

Stetson mansion is always a favorite of mine to go to every year for the Christmas tour. This year did not disappoint. This was my second year under the new ownership and they have done a fantastic job. I loved the way the house was decorated each and every year before, but sometimes less is more and I feel it’s decorated a little more simply in certain spaces than it was before and I love it. I just love it. I would give it a 10 out of 5 if I could. Highly recommend everybody within driving distance come and visit the Stetson mansion. I guarantee you, if you come once you’ll be coming back.

The Christmas decorations are unbelievable!
The self=guided narrated tour was very good.
The Gift Shop was very nice and inexpensive!

Visiting the Stetson Mansion was a wonderful experience. The house is absolutely beautiful, and the Christmas decor made it even more special. I loved learning a bit of the history during our visit, and it really made me appreciate the home even more. I'm already looking forward to going back in the spring to enjoy the full history tour. Highly recommend!

We visited the Stetson Mansion on Sunday 12/14. I was very excited to see all the Christmas decorations again. I had been to the mansion about 10 years ago. It did not disappoint. The Jennings family, specifically Paige and Kayla, did an amazing job with the decorations. The attention to detail was spectacular. I loved all of it but my favorite room was the dining room. It was truly spectacular. Each room had its own special Nativity set. The Jenning’s Family did an amazing job honoring the history of the Stetson Mansion while putting their own special family touches on it. Also, I loved all the feminine touches!
I want to give a special shout out to Ethan. 5 Star review for him and the special details he shared about the wood carvings that his Grandfather had done in the Santa bedroom. He was the guide for the Gingerbread and Santa bedroom. I enjoyed my conversation with him.

I visited with 33 widow friends in our LIFT group. This Christmas visit has been on my bucket list and I finally did it. It was wonderful! The Historic Manson rooms were like a wonderland. Each with there own theme. We were guided though with a knowledgeable and helpful Docent who pointed out many interesting things. I feel it should be on everyone's Christmas to do list.

My wife and I found this incredible historic home while watching our local Orlando Fox 35 morning TV show! I immediately got on their website and easily made reservations for my wife and I to do the tour the next day.
The cost was very reasonable - especially after we experienced the beauty and fine detail that was put into this 1886 mansion and the quality restoration work. Beautiful woodworking throughout! Exquisite inlaid parquet floors, 10,000 stained (Tiffany?) and beveled glass perfectly complement the extensive woodworking in every room! Part of this work dates back to the 1700's in a French Chateau!
The history behind John Stetson and his cowboy hat business sets the stage for him to design and cause to build this incredible Florida Winter home for he and Elisabeth to enjoy with their children and friends. His friends included Thomas Edison, who designed and installed electricity throughout this home - one of the first electrified homes in our country, the Prince of Wales (who became King of England), President Cleveland, George Vanderbilt, Louis Tiffany and Henry Flagler!
Needless to say we will be back with our family and friends during the Christmas Season to witness the spectacular decorations!
This should be at the top of everyone's Florida To Do List!
We only wish we had found this treasure years ago!

Amazingly beautiful. Guide was so knowledgeable. The building itself is impressive architecture , but when all decked out in its Christmas finery, it is outstanding. I would have taken a hundred pictures if I was allowed!

This is our second visit to the Stetson Mansion. The new owners have done the same
wonderful and creative decorating JT did. If you visit after Christmas you can better see the wonderful details of the woodworking better.
This is a must if you are in Central Florida . The Guides are so pleasant and their love for the house comes through.

The house, the remodeling, the history, the hospitality! It was an amazing experience to vist the Stetsin Mansion. Kudos to all involved. My full recomendation to all interested in visiting.

Cheryl was a delightful tour guide. The Christmas lights and decor inside the mansion? Truly Spectacular!! We had a wonderful visit to the Stetson Mansion.

My Husband and I had the great honor to visit Stetson Mansion, a private home in which the owners live. Unbelieveable!!! So beautiful and the wood work and detail is beyond incredible. Our tour guide Sally was super, she was so well educated and knowledgeable regarding the history of Stetson's life and times. From the moment you walk into this home, you are awe struck. Be warned, you climb stairs several times and the tour is mostly standing and walking. So very glad we choose this from one of our "things to do" list. A must see♥

Truly a unique experience! I’m planning on visiting again to see it without the Christmas decorations (which were superb).

I think this was my 13th time at the mansion. I learn something new each time and always enjoy it every time. I especially love the historical tours. Anytime I have
out -of -town company, which I have a lot of, I try to treat them to a tour of the mansion.

We did the Christmas tour of the Stetson Mansion today. The decorations are fabulous and our tour guide, Melia, we excellent and a graduate of Stetson University. This was our first visit to the mansion. I highly recommend this tour.

My husband and I took our mothers on this wonderful tour, and we were not disappointed. The Christmas decorations were beautiful, and the house is absolutely incredible in my opinion. Our tour guide was Alix, and she was very informative and personable. We really enjoyed her. My mother and I are born and raised Floridians, and we never knew all this about the Stetson family right here in our home state. I would, and already have, recommend this tour or even just the Historic tour if the Christmas one has already ended.

I try to visit every year and every year, I'm never disappointed. The time, decor, and unique collections are always breath taking. You can take your time while listening to the details that went into each tree, room and display. It's truly a Florida destination.

I understood that this was a holiday tour, but I did expect to see some things of historical significance. Unfortunately, it was just room after room of Christmas decorations. Also, fairly disorganized, as our self-guided tour was held up numerous times by docents who didn’t want us to run into a guided your ahead. So a 15 minute tour became an hour.
It felt like this was a money-grab by the owners; but again, my fault as I knew that this was billed as a holiday tour. But don’t expect any history with it!

A hidden gem; so glad I stumbled upon it. Had a great guided tour. Would encourage anyone who likes history or Christmas to check it out!

The mansion was beautifully decorated and the tour guide was exceptional. This was my second time going to the mansion at Christmas time and I highly recommend it.

The Stetson Mansion this Christmas was amazing ! Absolutely beautiful! A must see if you are in the area. Our tour guide Deb was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the home & community.

this was absolutely beautiful. smaller than I expected but the people were informative and the house was gorgeous and very enjoyable

What a beautiful and unique piece of local history! We enjoyed the holiday decorations and can’t wait to go back and see the mansion when it’s not decorated.

We really enjoyed our tour of the Stetson mansion. The home is magnificent. The wood throughout the home is spectacular. The parquet floors , the stain glass windows. The Christmas displays in every room were beautifully done. The home has been refurbished with such care. It is so wonderful to see that they saved this home, when others wanted to demolish it. I can't imagine why people want to destroy something so historic, built in 1886, with such beauty, electrical work done by Edison. Go see it!

We went with friends for the first time and chose the self guided tour. The Christmas decorations were beautiful! There were guides in each area that would point out certain details about the house. All were very friendly and helpful.

This is a very impressive house with beautiful Christmas decorations, on the tour we attended. The wood inlay of the flooring throughout the house is spectacular! The owners of this house take great pride in preserving it's character, and that shows in the end result. Deland is also a nice little town to walk around in before or after the tour.

The Stetson Mansion is really worth seeing with their spectacular newly updated rooms. So much time and energy involved with detail to furnishings, woodworking, old lead glass window panes and much more make this a must stop.
Our guide Sally was very friendly, fun and knowledgeable about the historical facts of this mansion and the man Stetson himself.

We first hear about the Stetson House on TV. Decided to go to the see how it was decorated for Christmas. It was extremely well done. First there is a theme, which changes every year. Each room is decorated differently but with the main theme in mind. In addition, you are told the story of the room, the home and the Stetson family and legacy. There are different tours at different times of the year. Christmas and the history tours are the two largest. I would recommend it and I would go again.

Tour guide,Alexi, was excellent and the history of the Stetson Mansion and Stetson Hat business was great. The American Dream!

It was a magical experience with the Christmas story of Christ's birth. We did the guided tour and well worth it. Will be back for the history tour.

Wonderful tour! Very enjoyable, informative, and educational. Our guide was excellent. Her knowledge was impressive and she made the tour fun! I think her name is Maria.
I highly recommend this tour!

WOW! We took the Christmas Spectacular Holiday Home Tour. The rooms really were “spectacular “! Each room had a different Christmas theme and the decor was stunning! It was evident the current owners, The Jennings families, have poured themselves into preserving and sharing this beautiful home. I have been living an hour away for 11 years, but had never visited the mansion. So glad I finally ventured over to Deland to see the mansion. I can’t wait to go back and take the historical tour as well. I will be taking all my future guests here to visit this gem! Deland is a cute little town with lots of little shops and restaurants. Great for a day trip!

The Stetson Mansion is a gem in the quaint and historic town of DeLand. The history and the unique interior of the home were fascinating. By far the best part was Sally, our docent, who brought the story of this house and the Stetsons to life. She was extremely knowledgeable, engaging and funny. No doubt, she made our experience memorable! If you love history and architecture, this is not to be missed.

Absolutely breathtaking. Thank you for sharing your home and christmas Spirit with all of us. Sally was our tour guide was very informative with a great sense of humor and pride in the home.

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Each room beautifully decorated for the Christmas holiday. The house has such wonderful design details.
The tour guide did a wonderful job. Loved hearing about the history of the Stetson family and the stories of the mansion being built.
A historic home that should be preserved for all to see.

I had visited the Mansion during the Christmas Season three times prior to this year, and was amazed at the beauty and detail each visit. Simply stunning. Went last year to see JT’s final year and as always, it was spectacular. Went this year to see the new owners’ displays and was not disappointed. Following in JT’s tradition, but with their own interpretation and fresh eyes , each room was as original and detailed as always. I especially enjoyed their delightful version of the Elizabeth room with its pastel colors and whimsical gingerbread theme.
Our tour guide, Lori, was informative and friendly and included many historical facts about the house itself and many of the items included in the displays, along with detailed explanations of the theme of each room. A truly lovely way to start your Holiday Season. The

Toured the Stetson Mansion today and it was very impressive. The woodwork and the floors and windows were my favorite part. Sally was our tour guide and she did a great job. She kept our interest the whole time and filled us in on all of the history.

I have toured the Stetson mansion several times and on every visit I discover something I didn’t know. This year we did the self-guided tour which allowed us a bit of extra time to appreciate all the detail that went into the Christmas displays!
I highly recommend a trip to the mansion.

I thought it was way overpriced. Compare the times that I’ve been there before. I apologize to the group of ladies that I brought. I felt that the new owners were overlooking everything everybody was doing and wanted to make more money. I think that they weren’t ready to open it up to the public. Some of the items were presented extremely well while others were not ready.

The Stetson Mansion is absolutely stunning. It’s amazing to see the craftsmanship and attention to detail that went into building and restoring this beautiful home. The 90 minute tour was excellent and very informative. Learned the phenomenal story of the Stetson family and the history of the property that’s a real treasure. This is a site well worth visiting.

The Stetson Mansion is beautiful! We have been multiple times and our most recent visit was the Christmas Tour - absolutely stunning! It’s well worth a visit to the Stetson Mansion any time of the year…a historical trip back in time.

If you LOVE Chrstmas decor, this is the tour for you. It was not a tour of the house, it was a tour about Chrjstmas decorations. In each room the guide told about the decorations in it.
The home floors and trim work were stunning. But, that was it. I have never toured a historical home that didn't have antiques before. Even the beds weren't antiques. The walls were not period appropriate. No historical wallpaper. Even the wall colors weren't historically accurate. I understand wanting a functional kitchen, but giant contemporary lighting was not the right choice.
I probably wouldn't care so much if the tour would have been a normally priced mansion tour, but $185 for four people to see massive amounts of Christmas crap was disappointing. This was not a tasteful amount of decorations.
Makes me curious if the house was purchased just to display their Chrjstmas collections.

What a fun experience! The home was beautiful and the tour guide that we had was great! You can tell the the owners love this home and the care they have taken with the decorations shows. Simply stunning. Will definitely do again.

Beautiful mansion and the Xmas decorations were amazing. The entire house was decorated. Wonderful experience, a must see.

Was very informative and interesting. Would go again. Sally was a wonderful tour guide!!!
The house has so much history and just beautiful inside.

We took a guided tour of the mansion! The Christmas rooms were magnificent, magical presentation! The mansion is beautiful. Our guide was wonderful! Loved her knowledge of the mansion and family.

The Stetson Mansion was beautiful. It was fascinating seeing the original Parque floors and craftsmanship. Especially interesting to me was the original "Edison Electric" fuse box with the picture of Thomas Edison personally sitting at the dining room table building it. The Christmas decorations throughout the house were beautiful and tastefully done.

Another magical Christmas experience at the Stetson Mansion. New owners have successfully continued the dazzling decorating experience AND have added several very special touches of their own. Just because you may have been in the past, do yourself a favor and go again in 2025.

My friend and I had a wonderful time!
The rooms were decorated so beautifully for Christmas 🎄 the Nativity Scenes were incredible. Alaina , I think that was her name, our tour guide was so knowledgeable and explained everything beautifully! Telling all my friends.

Excellent tour...informative and beautiful decorations. So tastefully done with the true spirit of Christmas. A delightful way to close our Christmas season.

I had been wanting to go for quite a few years & I finally got there this year! It was amazing!! The decorations & the home surpassed my expectations!! I will definitely go back!!

The Stetson Mansion Christmas Display was spectacular!! The decorations were jaw dropping & each room different and amazing. Alex was a wonderful tour guide. She shared information & delivered the information in a wonderful way. We will definitely be returning for the history tour of the mansion in the spring.

Our group of six friends/neighbors did the Christmas Spectacular tour on November 12th. Gorgeous home and incredible holiday decor. Our tour guide was very informative and enthusiastic.
We also had the pleasure of meeting Kayla Jennings, one of the owners. It was my first time touring the Stetson Mansion; I definitely want to go back for the historic tour.
A must-do if you’re in Deland or the surrounding area!

The Christmas Tour was fantastic. The decorations spectacular, so much to see and take in. Malia was an awesome tour guide. "Hat's off" to the family for opening their home and showcasing their decorations.

What a fantastically beautiful home! A must see, whether you go for a historical tour or at Christmas, which I highly recommend. There aren't words to describe the splendor of the place!

Our second time to do the Christmas tour of the Stetson Mansion, if you enjoy beautiful Christmas decoration or a wonderfully preserved 100+ yer old home this is a don't miss.

We loved the arcatecture and the Christmas decorations inside. The owners have really done an outstanding job keeping the history of the magnificent mansion alive.
The staff was great and the guide was very knowledgable.

It was a wonderful experience! So much to see. The written descriptions gave the experience much more informative. We highly recommend visiting. It's part of the Christmas season must do's.

Sally was friendly and knowledgeable. The mansion was quite exquisite and well kept. A very enjoyable afternoon. Weather is great in April.

We visited the mansion with our dear friends from England. Loved the tour with Melia. She was so knowledgeable and spoke clearly so everyone could hear her. It was nice to see the house without the Christmas decor.

The guided Christmas tour was delightful! We loved the history and beauty of the home and grounds. The themed Christmas decorations were spectacular. We will be back for the historic tour next year!

Beautiful historic home built by the Stetson family. I toured in past but not during the annual Christmas decorations tours (Wow! Over the top!). New owners (told 1 yr ago) look to be lovingly tending the house & property. Be sure to also enjoy downtown historic Deland too - shops & restaurants.

I loved it! The Christmas decorations were absolutely amazing! Whoever put them up deserves an award! I've seen Flagler museum and Viscaya, wich are larger homes, but considering the smaller size of the home, this was an incredible experience. It was far more intimate than those other homes. I will be back next year for Christmas and we'll see the historical tour as well. I recommend the Christmas tour to anyone.

A group of six friends went together and had an amazing tour. The house and every detail is magnificent. We were fortunate enough to even have one of the owner/designers along with us adding additional tidbits of information and stories about having grown up next to this house. A definite must see!

The Stetson Mansion Christmas tour was wonderful!! The displays were beautifully crafted. Our tour guide was informative and fun. This home is amazing! I will be back for the historical tour.

The mansion is not as large as I thought it would be... however, it did NOT disappoint!! The detail in the Christmas decorations is beyond words. We took the guided tour and I'm so glad we did. Our guide, Alex, was VERY informative. We learned quite a bit about the Stetsons, as well as some local history, while enjoying the beautiful displays.

Kayla is a very informative and animated tour guide. Her personal attachments to the mansion and Deland add personality to the tour.

It was amazing, a must do! The festive heartfelt atmosphere and the decorations are so beautiful. It gives the true feeling of Christmas.

We took the 160th anniversary Christmas Spectacular tour Alexi (I believe) and it was absolutely AMAZING. Lots of Stetson, history, and astounding architecture and antiquity. Our tour guide was literally the BEST tour guide we've ever had for anything EVER. This place was jaw dropping GORGEOUS. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

It's an amazing array of beauty in every direction. See it at the holidays with your family and friends. A must see in Deland, Florida.

The Stetson Mansion Christmas Spectacular was beautiful and the perfect way to get in the Spirit of the Season. Our tour guide, Sally, was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and clearly loves her job. The decorations for Christmas varied from room to room, yet carried an overall theme throughout. It was a truly amazing experience that we highly recommend. We plan on doing the Historical Tour as well.

We had a great time at the Holiday Tour at Stetson Mansion. Our guide was Malia, a lovely young lady who took us thru the mansion explaining the history and decorating themes along the way. She was engaging and delightful and made the tour a wonderful holiday experience. Would definitely recommend adding this event to your holiday schedule.

Wonderful experience. The person that did your (sorry forgot her name) was relatively new but was a wealth of knowledge on the Stetson family and the DeLand, FL history. She knew answers to every question the group had. Coming back at Christmas for the 98 Christmas trees!

The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas with spectacular lights and garland. Such a feast for the eyes with glitter and exquisite decorations beyond anything you will see anywhere else!! However - the overall experience was a bit different from previous tour 3 years ago - which made me sad. This year it seemed impersonal and rushed - with little interaction and/or time for questions. While we were told to look around, it felt like a pre-recorded tour. Thanks.

The Stetson Mansion is a beautiful mansion to visit. Besides being a beautiful old home with a lot of history the Christmas decorations were amazing. The decorations are beautiful and the audio tour explains each room's decorations and history. We had never heard of this mansion but certainly do recommend visiting to see the Christmas decorations.

This was the first time I toured the Stetson Mansion and it was an awesome experience from start to finish. It all started with Moila, our tour guide, who did an outstanding job explaining each room with the Christmas decorations along with interesting history tidbits about the house, the people that lived/live in it, and in general Stetson. I can't recommend this tour enough for anyone who enjoys the Christmas Spirit, learning some fun facts about history and overall having a great time.

We toured the mansion on 12/13/25 and Candace was our tour guide. It was a nice tour; with a lot of history on the Stetson family. The craftsmanship and woodwork throughout the mansion was beautiful not to mention the decorations. The fee was okay and it took about one hour to go through the few rooms that were open for the tour. We had a nice group of people in our tour, and everyone was cordial. Candace was very outgoing and obviously enjoys what she is doing. Overall nice experience. Thing 1 and Thing 2.

What a delightful experience! My friend invited me to join her for the Christmas themed visit which was beyond my expectations. Our docent was knowledgeable and witty and the mansion itself is one of a kind extraordinary! I loved every nook and cranny and it left me wanting more. So, I do hope to revisit for a history tour as the history is as fascinating as the mansion itself. You won't be disappointed!

As a native Philly girl, I knew the history of the Stetson Hat factory.
I was happy to find the tour of the Mansion.
Everything was very educational.

Visiting the Stetson Mansion at Christmas time has become a family tradition. This is our 3rd year. The mansion is so beautifully decorated. We love the narration that was included on the tour. It described the Christmas decorations and also told us some history of the house. The owners put so much love into this house and it is an awesome way to celebrate the most wonderful time the year. Buy a ticket and visit this Christmas season. You will be happy that you did!

Extremely well run tours of the house interior during the Christmas holiday season. Rooms were decorated in an amazing assortment of Christmas decorations. We took the guided tour and it was exceptional. We plan on coming back for the historical tour in Feb 2026.

The Stetson Mansion is just beautiful and the guided Christmas tour by Alyx was absolutely worth it! We will be back for the history tour! Every person involved in this house and the tours should be so proud!

We anxiously await the annual Christmas tours at the Stetson Mansion and they get better every year. Under new ownership, the spirit of the season shone even brighter this year. I’ve never seen so much sparkle and so many beautiful trees & nativity scenes while learning even more about the Stenson family and legacy. This is at the top of our list and a great way to get into the holiday spirit. You won’t want to miss it!

Simply mind blowing. Incredible detailing throughout the house. Our guide Lori was so knowledgeable. You can tell these guides love their jobs. She told great stories and engaged with us. Highly recommend getting the guided tour. I read the narrative for the self guided tour and there is so much more info that you get in the guided tour. Totally worth the extra cost! Mr Stetson’s room was my fave. I loved seeing all the different hats. Cannot wait to return for the historical tour. Thanks, Lori. You were an amazing guide!

excellent experience wonderful staff beautiful Christmas decorations. beautiful Christmas atmosphere. thank you for an amazing day

Impressive old mansion beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our tour guide Alix was excellent, friendly entertaining and extremely well prepared. We will be returning in Feb. for the historic tour.

The mansion is beautifully decorated and our tour guide was terrific! We highly recommend adding this to your holiday experiences!

Exceeded my expectations!!
The home is under new ownership.
The home's Christmas display is updated each year. The attention to detail was amazing.

THIS IS A PRIVATE HOME - yes, they live there year round.
Where are the photos? They ask that you refrain from video / photos to fully enjoy the experience and because this is a private home. There for I didn't take any photos. I did look thru the photos on Trip Advisor and NONE come close to what I saw this year (2025).

Magnificent detail and display of Christmas. Every room and area in it was filled with beautiful lights, sparking bulbs, and unique statues and decor. We loved the attention to detail and warmth of the mansion.

The mansion was totally overrated and very expensive. We knew that the house was set up for Christmas which was the main theme but it was also advertised that there would be docents throughout the mansion. A docent should be able to answer questions about the museum not say "look at the beautiful floor" or "did you notice the crystals." I can visually see these things. Tell me what I don't know. Did Stetson import the flooring? How long was the house empty before someone start to renovate? What type of wood is the arch? etc.
After my third question about the house, the "docent" said come back after Christmas for the historical presentation - this was not indicated in any of the Christmas advertising.
If you really love nativity scenes, I encourage you to attend. Otherwise go to the nearest Christmas store to experience the holiday and spend your $74 on something to decorate your own home.

Recently retired, I have been looking online for things to do and see. Don't do what we did and wait. We have lived in the area for over 30 years and have just made a visit. It was amazingly decorated for the Holidays and are excited for the Historic tour.

We toured the historic, 140 year old Stetson Mansion and enjoyed a tour led by Alix. This beautiful home was decorated for Christmas and each room had a theme.

My family and I had a wonderful experience while at the Stetson Mansion! The rooms were beautifully decorated for Christmas and the audio tour was very well done. The admission was very reasonable and you could explore the rooms which were included in the tour within an extremely reasonable amount of time. Also, some guides also provided additional information not usually in the self guided Christmas tour. The house is absolutely beautiful and has such amazing craftsmanship. It is definitely worth a visit for the Christmas tour and we want to go back for the historic tour!

Wow, what an amazing place to kick off the Christmas season! We’ve been going to the Stetson Mansion for several years to view the Christmas decorations, but this year was even better than before. All of the rooms were decorated with such elegance and beauty. Also, the connections to the brand Stetson. the historical significance of the home, along with the owners’ personal touches were enchanting.
Our tour guide, Malia, was absolutely fabulous! We have never before experienced such a talented speaker, absolutely captivating, knowledgeable, and engaging.
We will return for the historic tour in the spring and again next year for the 2026 Christmas season!

What a beautiful Mansion. So much beautiful wood details and so many gorgeous parquet floors. All the rooms we saw were beautifully decorated for the Holiday Season. Malia our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the Mansion. The Peacock tree is one of my favorite things but so many other traditional favorites for everyone to enjoy. My group of 4 friends all had a great time. The light snack and appetizers was a nice touch. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience. Hope to come back in February/March to see the undecorated house and hear more about the beautiful historic Stetson Mansion. ❤️ 🤠

A friend asked me if I wanted to do the Christmas Tour at The Stetson Mansion, I said sure. I always heard it was worth going to. Oh my is it ever, It was absolutely stunning and with the Christmas decorations oh my! Our tour guide Lori was awesome and so informative. I would highly recommend going in fact I am taking my husband back to do the Historic Tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed the historic tour & our guide, Sally, who was very knowledgeable about the mansion & its history. She presented the information very well & she had a congenial nature.

This was an amazing tour. We had Lori as our tour guide and she is excellent. I would highly recommend going to this. It’s beautiful. We got to meet the owner and she was amazing as well and talented.

This was the most amazing mansion! We learned so much about the Stetson’s! Kayla did a wonderful job touring us through all three floors of the mansion. We were never rushed and always told to take our time to look at everything in each room!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Stetson Mansion. The best feature was the beautiful and varied parquet floors. I've never seen anything comparable. Other fine craftsmanship was visible on walls, beams, fireplaces, and windows. No photography is allowed inside but I did take some exterior photos.

Christmas decor lacks originality as in the past. Scheduling was poor with far too many people in each area. People dawdling listening to long winded audio. Had to leave without seeing the entire home because of so many people in there at once. This was our third trip at Christmas but our first poor experience. We had wanted to make another historic tour but now we're not so sure.

We toured with my parents in their 80's celebrating their 65th anniversary. We all enjoyed the Christmas tour. Our guide, Cheryl was informative. My parents had zero problem getting through the mansion, even with the stairs to the second floor. My dad got inspired and pulled out his old Stetson hat when we got home!

We had a wonderful time! I've lived in Orlando now for 40 years and didn't know this place was here and it is well worth the time to go and see. Stunningly decorated for the Christmas and will definitely be going back for the historic tour. Absolutely beautiful place and so glad it was saved from destruction! Our tour guide was wonderful also, made the tour fun and very knowledgeable! Worth the stop!

It is hard to put into words how beautiful and amazing the Stetson Mansion is decorated for Christmas. Each room is so unique and you can take a self guided tour which we did and so glad we did that as we could take our time and enjoy each room. The staff was also very friendly, knowledgeable and you could tell they loved to see the people's reaction as they entered each room. I highly recommend taking the tour. I will for sure go and do the tour after the season is completed and their normal tours begin. Thank you to the owners for all the hard work and love you put into preserving such a beautiful piece of property.

Beautifully restored Victorian mansion decorated with amazing Christmas themed rooms. So many amazing decorations, we are pretty sure we might have missed a few. Took the guided tour and our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and made the tour personal and fun. Plan to go back for the historical tour to see additional rooms and architectural features.

The house was beautiful and amazingly decorated. While we definitely appreciated hearing the details of the house and of all of the decorations, we could have done without the constant "reason for the season" type of sermon during the self-guided narration. For the people that run the tour, did it ever occur to you that some of us are there just to see the beautiful house and decorations, and that we may not be of the same religion as you?

The Stetson Mansion tour was delightful experience during the Christmas holiday period. Not only were the extensive decorations beautiful but the architecture and “old-world craftsmanship” of the mansion itself was beautiful and beautifully restored! To top off the amazing visual experience of the Stetson Mansion was the equally delightful guided tour provided by Candace. Her bright attitude, smiling face and cheerful delivery of details about the Stetsons, the mansion and the decorations made the tour a wonderful experience; one that more people should encounter!

First time visitors and glad we made the drive to Deland. We took the country road ups from Orlando which made for a fun drive. Alix provided a fascinating, captivating and informative guided tour of the mansion. The holiday decorations and history kept us engaged for the full tour. We'll be back for the history tour to learn more about the Stetsons and the mansion's history. This is a local historical gem worthy of national attention.

What a wonderful Christmas experience! A must see for the holidays. I had been before when under the previous ownership. Did not think it could get better, but it absolutely did!! There was a wonderful guided tour, but we were able to meet up with the owners for even more tidbits about the home. Please, don't miss a chance to visit this treasure in Delightful DeLand, FL.

This elegant and beautifully decorated home is the ultimate in representing all that Christmas and the Holidays represent. Both present and past Christmas traditions are represented. The new owners have taken all that the past seasons have offered and added their touch which makes the decor equal to the past. It’s different every year and we will go back again in 2026 and beyond.

History of Stetson Home owners present & past-We rather enjoyed red & green room: Gillion room I believe & we felt joyful stepping into that room!

We visited Deland in 2023 at that point we found out the mansion was not open to the public. We were thrilled to see an advertisement on a television telling us of the opening and the Christmas decorations. We booked our tickets online and we’re so pleasantly pleased with our tour guide Cheryl. She has a very knowledgeable yet humble description of all the Christmas decorations and their history that we saw. The mansion has gone through several owners and renovations throughout its history, but she was very clear on what was original and what was not. We are looking forward to our return visit after February 1, 2026 to be able to better see the architectural details and windows that make this such a special home

Visiting the historic Stetson Mansion winter home of famous hat manufacturer John Stetson was a wonderful experience. With the exquisite craftsmanship throughout including Tiffany Windows, hand carved woodwork and intricately patterned parquet floors our awesome and knowledgeable tour guide Kayla brought the history of the mansion , the Stetson family, and the locale environment to life. A must do !

A beautiful treasure hidden in the historic and lovely city of DeLand, Florida. A piece of history to be enjoyed all year round. I was there for the Christmas tour and was taken to a magical place of Christmas joy as I was guided through all the rooms that were so beautifully decorated, elaborately adorned, each with its own theme, which I thought was quite amazing. I can definitely recommend this home to be toured time and time again. This is my fourth visit but the first with its new owners and they are doing a beautiful job to preserve the Legacy in the 14th year of Christmas at the Stetson Mansion.

We toured the mansion at Christmas. It was spectacular!!! The details in every room were quite impressive. Our tour guide, Candace, was terrific!!! The tour lasted a little over an hour. Rather incredible that this gem sits right off a major road in our sweet little town. Highly recommend a visit when you are in DeLand.

This was our third Christmas tour and first since the change in ownership of the Stetson Mansion. Clearly, the new owners love the Mansion as much as JT and Michael loved it. There was a personal touch to the Christmas decorations that enhanced the imagination, creativity and love that went into each room. One must see this home to realize that the word spectacular is not adequate to describe what you'll see. My husband and I found the Christmas tour to be so interesting the first time that we returned the following year for the historical tour!

What a local treasure. History is awaiting. As a native Floridian, I hadn't heard of the Stetson House, but we enjoyed this step back in time.

Not only is the mansion Beautiful but the elaborate holiday decorations bring the experience over the top. I was very happy with the reservation process. And only groups of 6-8 were allowed entry at a time so the home never felt crowded. Also there were ambassadors in each beautifully decorated room to answer questions and provide insight. Definitely recommend!

The mansion tour is both fascinating and an intimate look back into history.
Stunningly beautiful structure preserves the legacy of Stetson and gives you a sense of late 19th century wealth in Florida.

Such a great way to get into the Christmas spirit. Would do it again. Looking forward to coming back in Feb. when they do the history tours.

We have been coming to the Christmas Spectacular at the Stetson Mansion for many years. It is the highlight of our Christmas celebration. This year we brought an additional guest who had never visited before. She was amazed—and will be returning next year. This is a “can’t miss” piece of Florida history.

The beauty of this mansion and the history that we were not aware of.
The staff was fun and knowledge
able. Would love to check out the third floor in Feb.

A must see the mansion has been restored to its former beauty and the guide who is also one of the owners was so knowledgeable about its past. Unfortunately a member in our party had a medical emergency but again the guide was trained as an emt and knew exactly how to handle it until the ambulance arrived. Looking forward to going back to continue the tour.

It was an amazing house. The historic qualities of the architecture were impressive , and to top it off the beautiful Christmas decorations really made it an over the top experience.

New owners took over the Stetson Mansion last year. I am delighted that they are continuing the Christmas tradition of opening the mansion to the public so we can ooh and aah over the extensively decorated mansion. This trip never disappoints. I have been going for several years, and the decorations have never been the same. It is a new look every year. I can see that the new owners have put their signature on the look this year -- that is not a complaint. Everything, as in prior years, was beautifully elegant. Each room has its own theme, and everything just works together. Traveling to the Stetson each year with neighborhood friends has almost become a tradition. This should be a "must do" item for your "making Christmas memories" list. It is always on mine. You will enjoy it. The excitement of it reminds me of when I was a child and was awed by seeing Christmas lights in my Northern home state. This is on a grander scale and I can forgo the heavy coat, hat and mittens.

What a delightful tour. Such an interesting home. The craftsman work is wonderful.
Had not heard the story behind Stetson hats, so that was very informative.
The fact that the owners actually let us into their own residence is extra special.
Sharon, the tour guy did a nice job. Also gave a nice referral for lunch downtown.

Beautifully decorated mansion in DeLand Florida. The Stetson mansion is a sight to see especially at Christmas! Handmade decorations and classic adorn every room! Sally was informative and engaging the whole time. Will come back to see the history tour! Lovely outing.

It was a great afternoon walking through the mansion. If you’re ever in the town of Deland, it is a must stop tour. The tour guide was amazing.

Superb tour by Lori. The decorations were simply stunning and the hard work put into them was outstanding! The history presented was interesting and the structure itself fascinating! It’s a must see for the holiday and did not disappoint! Great job!!!

We went for the Christmas self guided tour which includes the first and second floors. (And the gardens) The decor was exquisite in every room. You can listen on your phone or follow with written descriptive cards. Lots of interesting information about the rooms and about the Stetson family. The volunteers in each room were very knowledgeable. Very enjoyable experience. We’ll come back for the history tour after January to see the
3 rd floor .

My husband and I went to the Stetson Mansion Christmas Tour on opening day last weekend. Malya was our tour guide extraordinaire. This was our first time going there and it will be on our list for next year. It's an amazing house. Your eye keeps wandering to look at all the amazing decorations. We also got to meet the owner and resident of the mansion. Imagine living there. If you go don't miss the Zen garden.

We had a wonderful time. This was my 3rd tour but the first with the new family. I was not disappointed. They did a great job of continuing the tradition. I will do the history tour again also. Our guide was knowledgeable and patient when questions were asked.

Beautifully decorated with a different Christmas theme in each room. Our tour guide gave so much detailed information on the history of the mansion and Stetson family. The current owners did a fantastic job restoring and keeping as original as possible. Thank you for opening your home for us to enjoin the history of it!

Took the guided tour at 10 am on December 12th 2025. Excellent tour. Great exploration of the home and its owners over the years. I believe this is the current owners first year of decorating for Christmas but about the 17th year of the holiday tour. The new owners knew the previous owners and were assisted somewhat in the decorating. The decorating looked professionally done and each room had a theme. The outside grounds were very nice and the only area where you could take pictures. It was a cold morning (for Florida) and a jacket is highly recommended for the tour. The holiday tour is of the first two floors and is decorated differently each year so come back and compare the themes and decorations. Our tours during the year are not holiday themed but do include all three floors.

What a beautiful home. Alexis (I think her name) was a wonderful guide full of knowledge about the home & it's history. How kind of the current owners to open this home for tours. No doubt it's an inconvenience for them but the funds, I'm sure, help to maintain this lovely property. If you're a fan of true craftsmanship done before there were many power tools, the Stetson Mansion is a trip worth making. The floors will knock your socks off with 16 different parquetry designs.

Not only is the mansion beautiful but the Christmas decorations were outstanding. Every inch was beautifully decorated, couldn't believe the time and effort that went into the decorating. The tour was very organized, well run and informative. Thank you for all the hard work that went into providing us with such a festive start to our holidays.

Beautiful home. The Christmas decorations were amazing! Well worth a visit. Gift shop was very nice with very reasonably priced, nice items. Fantastic job!!

The Christmas tour was amazing!! Our tour guide Melia was very informative regarding the history of the mansion. I would recommend the tour!!

The historic tour was everything I expected and more. The house is decorated beautifully and makes you feel you're back in the 1800's. And now that the Christmas decorations are down you can see the exquisite woodwork and craftsmanship. How lucky to be able to experience the grandeur of the mansion. Our tour guide, Malia, provided a memorable tour. She detailed John and Elizabeth's life with plenty of facts. You can tell she is passionate and knowledgeable about the Mansion. She kept the groups attention the whole time. Well worth the time and money. Thank you Malia. I highly recommend the historic tour of the Stetson Mansion and looking forward to returning for the Christmas Spectacular.

We go every year, my best friends that our group name is the 3 🦩🦩🦩's. We ooh and aww every year! A definite must do and see on everyone's bucket list.
Thank you for opening your home and mansion for everyone to enjoy.

Our group of 17 retired teachers took the "Christmas Spectacular Holiday Home Tour" in November 2025. It truly was spectacular.
Even before arriving Leigh, the tour manager, was incredibly helpful. She not only checked what was the best discount she could give us, but sent me a list of nearby local restaurants and another list of restaurants that could accomodate large groups. They even have a list of restaurants that are open on Mondays. She even sent me driving directions to the restaurant our group chose.
Upon arriving, Kayla welcomed us warmly and told us about the grounds, and where we'd meet our tour guide. Debra, our tour guide was incredible. She knew the answer to any question we asked, and was so enthusiastic and knowledgable about the mansion. The mansion itself is incredible. with every room, for instance, having a different gorgeous pattern of in the inlaid wood floor. I guarantee the holiday decorations are above and beyond anything you've ever seen or dreamed of. All 17 members of our group were bowled over by the beauty, detail, and originality of holiday decor. The detail of the craftsmanship of the Stetson mansion itself, is a sight to behold.
This home well deserves it's rating in USA Today's top 10 Holiday Home Tours in the entire country. We're going to go back and take the "HIstoric Past and Present Tour" as we were told it's a very different tour.
(Bring cash in case you want to buy anything in the adorable gift shop)

Lights, lights, lights! Beautiful decor in every corner. The guided tour was filled with wonderful stories and history. Each room was given time to appreciate the holiday decor and the beauty of the home. Highly recommend enjoying the Stetson Mansion.

Not the same as previous years. The new owners have changed the furniture and look. The narration is to long and not good Has lost the feel of them original rooms.

Visiting the Stetson Mansion in DeLand during the holidays was nothing short of magical. The mansion itself is already a masterpiece, but the holiday decorations elevate it to an entirely new level. Every room was exquisitely decorated, blending rich history with festive elegance in a way that felt both grand and inviting.
The attention to detail was astounding—each space had its own holiday theme while still honoring the character and craftsmanship of the home. From the stunning trees and garlands to the subtle touches tucked into corners and mantels, it felt like stepping into a living holiday storybook.
The staff and guide (Cheryl) were knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the mansion and its history, which made the experience even more special. You could feel the care and love that goes into preserving this incredible home and creating such a memorable seasonal experience.
If you’re anywhere near DeLand, the Stetson Mansion holiday tour is an absolute must. It’s festive, elegant, and truly unforgettable. I left feeling inspired, full of holiday spirit, and already planning my next visit!

My first visit and won't be my last! Such an amazing home and the holiday decor is indescribable----breathtaking! This should be on everyone's 'to do' list each Christmas. Deland is a charming town with great restaurants and fun shops for after your tour.

If you are looking for Christmas spirit, head over to Stetson Mansion Christmas tour. Over the top decorations in a beautiful historic setting. Kids may be bored, but a wonderful festive experience for adults.

This home is beautifully preserved! The tour was excellent! The mansion was easy to find and the tour lasted about 90 minutes. We got started right on time and enjoyed every minute of it!!

Our family really enjoyed visiting the Stetson mansion during Christmas time. Our tour guide Sally was very knowledgeable and pointed out many wonderful details. The beauty of the mansion is astounding. The decorations are phenomenal. We will definitely return for the historic tour.

Went on the guided tour and Candace was our guide. She was fun, knowledgeable and the tour was great. Of course the house itself is magnificent and it's wonderful that the family that lives there now still shares it with us and they did a magnificent job in theming the rooms and decorating. It was over the top good and highly recommend. we definitely will go back for the historical tour. It's a gem and worth the visit!

This was my second visit to Stetson Mansion and again, a very delightful experience! The mansion is an extraordinary piece of DeLand and Florida history. The home is exquisite and unique. The details of the remarkable architecture and decorating are above and beyond. My tour guide was Kayla Jennings. She did a phenomenal job of bringing the Stetson Family era to life, was extremely knowledgeable on the history of the home and family and added just the right amount of humor! Stetson Mansion is truly a hidden grandiose gem and well worth a visit. Both the Christmas Spectacular and Historic tours are wonderful, educational and fun. Its beauty is breathtaking.

We went to the Christmas Spectacular, when seemingly every inch of the mansion is beautifully decorated. You can do a self guided tour and listen to explanations on your phone or just quietly take it all in. We have been to the Christmas showcase once before, which was great, but the new owners have added their own touches after working with the previous designer, so the latest visit held many surprises. We highly recommend it. We plan to return after February first to see the historic mansion without holiday decor to learn more about the history and let the mansion speak for itself.

This visit was a repeat and chose the guided tour. It was excellent and learned so much about the owners and the items in the mansion. The guide was a college student who was very enthusiastic and truly loved this home. Be aware they had 25 people on the guided tour and it was very tight as we journeyed into each room. The self guided that I did last year had less people and you could go at a slow pace. Being crowded gives you a different perspective of the rooms . The decorations are the best I have ever seen. They make you want to go home and create your own.

I went with family the weekend after Christmas and the tour was magical! The house is in prestige condition and CLEAN! The Christmas garland in every room is breathtaking. They let us in by groups so we had space and could take our time in each room. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our visit to the Stetson Mansion. The rooms were adorned with beautiful Christmas trees, nativities , and different themes. The tour was historical and our travel guide was very knowledgeable. I would recommend a stop at the mansion during the holidays—— if that is not your thing, I imagine the historial tour after the holidays would be well done as well. The mansion’s architecture for the time is stunning.

Always a treat. So happy this treasured mansion has been saved. Beautiful Christmas decorations. The guided tours give so much history and information that makes your tour especially interesting. May become a holiday tradition!

From the moment we were greeted on the front porch until the goodbye in the gift shop this was a magical experience. The decorators have bejeweled this historic treasure into Christmas dreamland. Much attention is given to telling Christmas through a family narration that is well researched. To visit such a place and not be restricted from viewing decor up close is rare. As others will probably write, every inch of the rooms decorated is filled with gorgeous trim. This is not a tour of antique decor alone but one of the very best use of current trim to honor Christmas. Visitors do need to be able to climb stairs to view the full four. If restricted in doing so the main level is still worth the visit. I will return next year as it will change a bit yet again and thrill me all over.

We came here because our daughter was visiting us and we wanted to do something different and fun.
Visiting the Stetson Mansion decorated for Christmas was an absolutely wonderful experience. The mansion itself is breathtaking, and the holiday décor was exquisite—festive, elegant, and beautifully done without overwhelming the historic charm of the home.
What truly made the visit exceptional was our guide, Sally. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely enthusiastic, bringing the history of the mansion and its many details to life. Her passion was contagious, and she made the tour both informative and delightful.

So easy to book on line and Stetson Mansion sent email reminders with directions, parking, etc Price was a real value for the experience of an extremely lovely, well cared for beautiful, historic home. Kayla, our tour guide and owner, was amazing. She gave us a wonderful tour, lots of information, answered all our questions, and had great stories. Home is so beautiful with many original Tiffany windows and beautiful carved trims and flooring. We will definitely be back and encourage everyone to visit this site!!

This was my 2nd time touring the Christmas Mansion. The entire experience is amazing. Everyone is kind & helpful. The guide- Sally- is incredibly knowledgeable and a joy to be with for the 1 hour tour. I'm looking forward to the history tour, AND next years Christmas tour.

The mansion was nice but there was no background knowledge provided when going into the house. We went to the Christmas themed event but would have appreciated an overview of who Stetson was and some information about the restoration in general. Many of the info sheets referenced past residents of the house but without context we were left wondering who they were, when they lived there, etc.

What a wonderful experience we had visiting the Stetson Mansion for their Christmas tour! The staff were warm and welcoming. Deborah, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and made it feel as though a family friend was guiding us through the house. We are looking forward to returning for their historic tour in the spring!

Absolutely beautiful!!!!! These women kept right up with the beauty, theme and quality of JT and Michael. We loved the new themes and twists they put on the decorations. Kudos to the ladies. keep up the good work. I am looking forward to the history tour

Our tour was exceptional given by very knowledgeable, Sally. Worth our drive for sure. the woodwork was beautiful. Would have loved to take pictures of it but couldn't. The info before the tour is misleading as to restrooms and parking and should be updated. All in all a great afternoon.

Great experience. Visit the Historical and beautiful mansion decorated for an extravagant Christmas. It is a must-see. After you visit head downtown to the historic district of DeLand and keep having a good time.

This was my third visit to the Mansion, which is always amazing! From the ease of purchasing tickets and checking in for our tour, it was a seamless process. Our docent, Sally, was so personable, knowledgeable, and did an outstanding job! Each room’s decorations were absolutely stunning! I highly recommend this tour during the Christmas season, and I am looking forward to booking the historical tour next year.

Very enjoyable tour. What a treasure to have available to see! The restoration was impressive and the architecture is amazing. Highly recommend this tour.

A hidden gem in Florida not to miss. Not many historic houses let you see all the rooms but at the Stetson Mansion every room on all 3 floors are open with a story to tell. History will come alive as you learn about the family and how the Stetson hats were developed and evolved. Well worth your time!

Had a wonderful experience visiting the Stetson Mansion and would recommend to family and friends to visit. It was decorated for Christmas and was absolutely beautiful and so much care and detail was put into each display. Our tour guide was delightful and enthusiastic with providing the history and detail for every room we visted in the mansion. We loved our visit and is a must see if you are visiting the areas.

The Stetson House is perfect for getting in the Christmas spirit - always beautifully and artistically decorated with amazing ornaments and collectables.

Beautiful place. Sally the tour lady is amazing and happy lady. If you like castles and history you have to come and visit.

What a beautiful house! The most beautiful flooring .
The decorations were spectacular.
Thoroughly enjoyed our guided tour, learning about the house and the Stetson story. We'll go back in the spring to see more of the house.

Wonderful tour with a great tour guide, Sally. The tour was very well organized and informative. Mansion is beautiful and worth every penny

It was very good. My sisters and I decided to learn some history about the Stetson.
Tour person was excellent.
She was very knowledge and welcoming.

We are a group of ladies that get together once a month to enjoy lunch and conversation.
We heard about the Stetson Mansion and decided it would make a great ay trip. 2 car loads of us drove down from Jacksonville with 8 of our 10 members in attendance. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the tour and decorations.
A couple of us may return for the history tour of the property. Our guide was very well studied on the property.
It was a great day trip!!!

Just beautiful. I can't wait to go on the historical tour to really see the details. The Christmas decorations totally worth it the did a beautiful job.

Beautifully decorated by family for Christmas. Tour guide included much information
Can't wait to go on Historical tour to see all the beautiful wood In that home, and more history. Barbara Gant, Florida
.

I’ve been to the Stetson Holiday Spectacular for the last 3 years. It’s a wonderful lead in for the holidays. This year we had a guided tour. Our Guide was wonderful. I truly loved it. I recommend it. The new owners have put a fresh spin on the home

The guides were helpful and well informed. They had a personal ambience without hovering, and added a quiet layer of appreciation for the experience. Of course the house is spectacular on its own, however adding Christmas flavor like this is quite exceptional. It's like a 10 course dining experiences of aristocracy without the heartburn! We weren't rushed and the folks there gave my aunt (77yrs old) the extra time she needed for navigating carefully in this wonderful set of rooms. We've been here before and will absolutely come again.

My husband and I enjoyed the Stetson Mansion immensely. Our tour leader, Sally, was extremely knowledgeable and made it very interesting. A family member had recommended visiting the mansion a few years back and I really didn't think I would enjoy it, but I was sure wrong. Tearing down this beautiful home would have been a tragedy. Deland is very lucky to still have it!

Great tour by Kayla who actually lives in the mansion with her family. Owned only for a few months, she did a phenomenal job sharing the Stetson mansion history. Would love to return for the Christmas display!

It was a pleasant ride to Deland to the Stetson Mansion. Parking was easy and right on property. Scheduled guided tour guide was Candace who did a wonderful job of sharing her newly gained knowledge of the mansion. The tour walk was slightly under 2 hours. We walked the property after it ended. The Chocolate Shop in town for ice ended our visit. Worth it!

Last week my Ya Yas and I had the opportunity to tour a local jem in Deland Florida, the house that hats built . Our tour was led by Sally a wonderfully knowledgeable and enthusiastic steward of the house. This is a must see.

This was so interesting. I am from Philadelphia and always had an interest in Stetson. I learned so much about him, his family, and associates. Our tour guide, Susie, was a wealth of knowledge. Her charm and personality kept you listening to every word she said!! Shame, we just ran out of time. Highly recommend that you visit!!!

We went on the first day of the Christmas tours in 2025. So well organized and well attended. Amazing displays. Our guide was perfect in delivery of her talk - I asked her how she did it and found that she had been practicing her talk everyday since September!. Melia (?)

This is the 4th year in a row we have attended. This is the first year since new owners purchased and the overall experience was definitely not as good as previous years

What a wonderful experience. Each of the rooms had a different themed decor. The self guided narration not only explained that but also the magnificent historical features of the house itself.

An experience one must see for themselves. My head is overloaded with the incredible
Christmas Displays, our guide was so informative and sweet. Even an owner came to visit and chat with us under the tent with appetizers and a drink. A yearly trip we will do.

Friends from Orlando attended the guided tour of the mansion with our docent, Sally. Each room was beautifully appointed with a different Christmas theme. All praise to the Stetson family for all of their hard work. It prompted us to sing, as Sally can attest.

The Mansion decorated for Christmas is a must see! Everything was beautifully done and absolutely breathtaking. I have taken the historical tour of the Stetson Mansion and now the Christmas tour. Both tours although different are very enlightening.

This is a hidden gem in the state of Florida! This was our first visit and we took the 75 minute guided tour, let me just say it was incredible!!! Malia was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. Each tour consists of 20-25 so its small enough to be intimate and plenty of time to ask questions. It is a beautiful tour and cannot wait until February for the tour without the decorations. The price for the tour is 100% work it and would highly recommend this tour for any ages! Photos are not allowed inside the home as the family still lives in the home so please respect their privacy.

A truly amazing mansion and the Christmas decorations are top notch. Well worth the admission and the time spent touring the house.
Our guide was excellent. She shared many things about the house and the Stetson family.

The docent was excellent and the decor amazing, especially the floors which are parquet. A steep staircase was the only drawback to the tour.

What a beautiful home to visit! The Christmas/Holiday decorations were astounding. The craftsmanship of the home was especially interesting to me and our group is looking forward to a return visit for the history tour, and closer look at the details of the home that are underneath the holiday decorations such as the fireplaces.

I knew Christmas was involved but after visiting Biltmore Christmas 2024 this can't be compared. We were very disappointed at how little was talked about the house or original owners. The Christmas decor while nice was a little boring after a bit.
We will be going back in March for the real tour of the mansion.

Great place to visit worth a trip. You are not rushed through out the rooms go at your own pace. There’s a lot to see so much history.

This was my second time taking the Christmas tour at the Stetson Mansion and it was just as great, if not better than last year! I can’t wait to take a historic tour in the spring. The mansion is beautiful, well preserved, and easy to get to. The themes in each room were well thought out and the displays were beautiful. I happened to have the same tour guide this year, and I was pleasantly surprised when Malia introduced herself to our group. She is extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant. I was also able to meet one of the new owners of the house in the gift shop and she was equally pleasant. I can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I went to visit the Stetson Mansion on April 17, 2025. Well, we are glad we did. So, if you think Stetson Hats originated in Texas, you need to visit this landmark. Our docent (Sally) was probably the best docent (i.e. guide) I have ever had the occasion to follow and listen too. Sally was extremely knowledgeable, pleasant, thorough and while she walked us through the house we had the feeling that we were present during the timeframe she was discussing. She explained the history of each room and brought us from the past to the present. She also pointed out the remarkable history of the materials that were used- it was an amazing trip back in history. We highly recommend it to anyone that is thinking about touring this beautiful historic mansion.

Who knew Stetson, the hat maker, had a mansion in central Florida filled with history and Christmas magic. Each room is grandly decorated in Christmas regalia but don't miss the parque floors, tin ceilings, Thomas Edison connection to Mr. Stetson, pass through, and call system. Our tour guide, Sofia, was knowledgable with only a few tours under her belt. The only thing missing was Sofia, a singer to be, caroling through the hallways.

Went back to see how the new owners decorated the Stetson Mansion for Christmas (tradition started by the prior owners JT & Michael) and was not disappointed. Every room was beautifully and opulently, yet elegantly, decorated with beautiful colors, lights, sprays, wreaths, classic and antique ornaments, handmade artisanal garlands, nativities and overall Christmas wonder. The 1-2 hours you spend at the estate is definitely worth the price of admission. Planning to return for another historical tour with friends in the spring!

The Stetson Mansion Christmas tour is quite impressive. The history of the property itself and story of how the current owners are working to preserving it is compelling.
We chose the guided tour. Our guide, Candice, was wonderful. She explained the themes of the decorated rooms and offered many historical facts about the mansion and its original owners, John and Elizabeth Stetson. The online booking experience was simple, the post purchase communications were excellent. If you're looking for something different to do and want a glimpse into a true "old Florida" attraction the Stetson Mansion tour is for you.

The museum Christmas display was absolutely amazing. It was fascinating hearing the story behind each room. There was so much to see. Just a really amazing visit. This place will definitely get you in that holiday spirit! It was worth coming all the way up from the Broward, South Florida area to visit.

The beautiful home decorated for Christmas took our breath away! The decorations were over the top beautiful with so many intricate details! The family did an amazing job! We would have loved to spend more time in each room admiring all their hard work! Can’t wait to go back in the spring for the historical tour and see more of the mansion and learn more about it!

Very enjoyable Christmas tour, beautifully decorated. Beautiful features in this mansion. Hope to return to see the full tour outside the Christmas session. Well worth the stop.

Excellent tour. The home was amazing as was the tour guide. I will be coming back with the Christmas lights with another group of friends.

My first time visiting the Stetson Mansion and I was blown away! The woodwork, the architecture, and those gorgeous stained-glass windows are just amazing. The Christmas decorations made everything feel extra special—beautifully done without taking away from the history of the place. You can tell a lot of thought and care went into every detail. Definitely worth the visit—such a cool mix of history and holiday magic!

I really enjoyed our guided tour of the Stetson Mansion! Deb our guide was very good, funny, informative and a real joy to listen to. The Christmas decorations were amazing and really helped to get me in the Christmas mood.

The architecture and craftsmanship was outstanding. The mansion and grounds were magnificent. The Christmas decorations were fantastic. The guide Candace was superb. We will go back for the historical tour. Well worth visiting. Thanks to the Jennings family for sharing their incredible home.

Had a great afternoon in DeLand. We enjoyed the downtown area and many shops, had a good lunch at Pasatanos, and then visited the Stetson Mansion. Thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the mansion. Sally, our tour guide, shared so much interesting information with the group. She was energetic, enthusiastic about all things Stetson, and very knowledgeable. The mansion has been completely restored and is a great example of the period architecture.

This was our 2nd visit for the Christmas tour. It was immeasurably a joy to my eyes. The creativity and love on display was beyond words. The work or I should say, the labor of love is apparent in every room, every nook and cranny. I would love to be able to just sit and absorb the surroundings. The beauty has not left my memory. Thank you to all who contributed to these rooms filled with wonder. I'd also love to mention our most informative and personable tour guide, Sally. She was a delight to listen to.
Hope to see you next year.
Joann & John Messick

The historical tour was well beyond our expectations. We have been fortunate enough to tour many vintage residences, and this was one of the most informative and entertaining of those experiences.
Sally (not Sam [her inside joke]) was well informed and prepared for the two hour presentation of facts and antidotes about the home and the Stetson family. She went through the home at a relaxed pace, allowing all of us to absorb the beauty of the renovation, as well as the original features.
The generosity of the Jennings family allowing visitors into their personal residence should also be acknowledged. This close-up encounter with the Stetson Mansion should not be missed if you are in the area.

Who knew that this historic gilded age jewel was here in the center of Florida? To have such a well restored and preserved piece of American history is indeed rare. If all I saw was the floors, I would be so happy! The decor was fabulous! Words cannot convey how interesting and fun our tour was! Thank Kaley! Don’t wait to be nearby. Make a special trip to DeLand to tour the Stetson Mansion!

We have lived in Ormond Beach for a couple years decided to visit the house. The tour was full so we were divided into to groups. It was nice to have a smaller group.
Our tour guide seems knowledgeable about the house and the improvements that the present owners have undertaken.
I did really appreciate the email reminders as well as where to park.
Deland has some great restaurants and antique shopping.

I had the pleasure of touring this beautiful home. The 90-minute tour features not only the home and its history, but that of John Stetson as well. I was in absolute awe of so many features in the home such as the intricate designs in the wood floors and the leaded glass windows. It is hard to believe that the house was built in 1886 and still has so many of the original features. The tour guide was a wealth of knowledge and made the tour very enjoyable. Purchasing tickets online ahead of time was easy, convenient, and allowed you to select either a morning or afternoon tour time. If you are ever in the area, it is truly worth the visit.

The guided tour was excellent. Our tour guide was a great and engaging speaker. Made the mansion and decorations come to life!

This home is absolutely beautiful. It has been lovingly restored to its original grandeur. The floors and woodwork are amazing. Our tour guide was one of the owners and she shared with us much of the history of the home and land. She brought it all to life for us and we were able to tour all three floors of this fabulous home. Thank you so much, Kayla, for sharing all the knowledge of your home and area. It was fascinating. We will definitely return to see the Stetson Mansion at Christmas time. It must be an amazing display.

This was one of the most stunning tours I have ever had the privilege to experience. This mansion is amazing. The craftsmanship is incredible. I will make every effort to return each year when I am in town. Kayla was our tour guide. Her knowledge of the mansion was incredible. She was able to answer every single question. This is a tour you should not pass up. I can’t wait for the Christmas tour.

My friend & I attended the Christmas tour of the mansion. I have toured several decorated mansions but the holiday decorations at Stetson are superior to all that I have been to. The tour guide was one of the best in the business. You won't be disappointed.

It was a great experience and decorated beautifully. It showed a lot of time, effort, and love that was put into decorating this house for us. I would highly recommend visiting it and sharing some of the experiences of the family with you. Thanks for making this tradition continue.

The Stetson Mansion is truly magnificent, it has been beautifully restored and preserved with stunning architectural details and woodwork throughout the house. A special thank you to our tour guide Sally who was leading her final tour of the season, she did a wonderful job explaining the fascinating history of the home and the family who built it. And thank you to the owners, who continue to care for and share their home with everyone, it is a treasure and I am so happy I had the opportunity to visit. Add this to your list of must see places, you will be glad you did!

We went back to see the Stetson Historical Tour since we went to the Christmas Holiday Tour to see more of the house without all the decorations.
Our tour guide Malia was excellent. She was very personable, knowledgeable and had unique and historical facts that related to the Stetsons, Florida, other gilded aged families and United States.
Getting to see the third floor was very interesting and gives you a complete sense of the house, since you are not able to tour the third floor during the Christmas Holiday tour.
I would definitely put this tour on your “Bucket List” for both the historical and then come back for the Christmas Holiday tour.
Thank you to the Jennings family for continuing these tours so others can appreciate the historical value of this family mansion.

My husband and I were in Deland for our 27th wedding anniversary on April 4th. We looked up things to do in the area and the Stetson Mansion popped up! We had never heard of it before. It was a wonderful tour! Sally was our tour guide and she had a wealth of knowledge about the Stetson family. It was so very interesting! The house was beautiful, inside and out. We appreciated the stories about the flooring, the Edinson fuse box, the panes of glass transported from France, the woodworking, the schoolhouse, the restoration, and more. Just an incredible tour. Sally brought the history to life with her wonderful storytelling. We highly recommend!

We were here years ago and it is still a great tour full of information and sights. Christ.as decorations were fantastic.

The Christmas declarations were astounding and the mansion itself is just beautiful. I'm thrilled to be able to contribute even in a small way to their restoration efforts. I applaud the families for doing so.

The inside of the home is a work of art. The floors, the fireplaces, the woodwork are a must see. The Christmas decorations were displayed throughout this beautiful house and I have never seen a more wonderful display. My husband said it was better than the Biltmore’s Christmas decorations and I completely agree.

As always, the Christmas mansion was spectacular. My favorite was the entrance depicting the market place in Bethlehem. I also loved the village tree in the kitchen. It is amazing the care and creativity that happens year after year. I think this is my 4th visit and I look forward to many more.

A must see, a beautiful historical restored mansion. Our tour was very informational as soon as we arrived we were checked in and on our tour. It really gives you a feeling of stepping back in time and appreciate our history. The Stetson family, the Flagler, the Vanderbilt and Edison. You need to go.

This was my second visit I had done the Christmas tour previously. This historical tour gave you a view of the man, his family and how they lived during that time. The details were amazing and our tour guide Sally was fantastic! I would definitely recommend this tour.

Absolutely gorgeous the house is stunning! Very well decorated for Christmas but the home itself with it's craftmanship is just awesome!

We have visited the Stetson Mansion for the last 3 years to see the Christmas displays and always wondered what it looked like unadorned. Not a disappointment at all, the beautiful floors, windows and explanations of its history made our 1hr 40 min tour worthwhile and not to be missed. Thank you Sally for your informative tour and giving us such a great experience.

The mansion is amazing and definitely worth visiting. It is very rare to see such an old piece of art in such a fantastic state. It is as if it was built last year.
The tour itself was very interesting, I would definitely recommend visiting!

Terrific tour by Sally. Small group of twelve or so. Good background and details of mansion and Stetson business. We enjoyed it a lot.

Wonderful experience
Gorgeous day
Our guide was superb
She is a graduate of Stetson
Very knowledgeable and delightful

Always a wonderful experience. We have gone for at least 6 years. New owners are just as wonderful as the last owners. Alix was a wonderful guide really loves her job and history of the mansion. Thank you Alix! Great wedding venue too. Oh, the summer tour is every bit as interesting as the Christmas so go to both.

Stetson Mansion is a wonderful experience at this time of year, at a very reasonable price. Christmas displays and lights🌟 EVERYWHERE! Beautiful architecture and design of craftsmanship. Thankyou for allowing us to be part of this unique home. Thankyou to Candace for your friendly, factual and historical tour! Our group was about 15 people that were guided by Candace. My friend is bringing her husband back for the tour this winter that shows magnificent woodwork, without the decorations. Thankyou!

The decorations are beautiful and amazing! A lot of effort is put into these Christmas displays. This is my third visit to the Mansion and I highly recommend the experience! The historic tour is awesome as well.

Lovely mansion, friendly and knowledgeable guide, and lovely Christmas decorations in each room.
Very worthwhile tour!

We loved the stories regarding each room, decorated in various themes. Alice was our tour guide and she was excellent. A must for everyone to see. So magnificent were the decorations.

What a great afternoon we had. The mansion is beautifully decorated and such a lovely place. Each room was a masterpiece! The guides were very knowledgeable about everything! We plan on going back in February for the historical tour.

Celebrating my husband's 90th birthday. And Sally, what a great guide. She knew her history and lots if fun facts as well as excited herself.
Have been there many times & highly recommend.

The mansion really gets you in the holiday spirit. Beautiful Christmas decorations and historic architecture. Will worth visiting during this holiday time and at other times of the year for the history tours.

Smaller groups would be nice.
Excellent guide! She pointed things out that we may have missed. The Christmas decorations were lovely but I would like to go back and see the house without the decorations.
Stunningly beautiful Christmas decorations woven with amazing history.
First time to visit this historic home and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Great history delivered in a very clear and engaging way by our guide Lori. The architecture and woodwork is so beautiful. The Christmas decorations exceeded our expectations (felt like a mini Biltmore). Appreciated we were not rushed and could take in all the amazing details. What a labor of love this family is sharing with the public! Be sure to pick up the guidebook in the gift shop at the end as you are not allowed to take photos inside.
