Feeding the stingrays was an amazing experience! They give you these lil frozen fishes to feed them. Highly recommended!

Everyone should go at least once and check it out! Up close and personal with stingrays. You can see them through the walls of the glass pool. But even better, you can feed them and pet them. Great learning experience for kids of ALL ages!!

Stingray Reef was an average experience and I give it this rating even though they were not letting visitors feed the stingrays while we were there. The aquarium is very small and it doesn't take long to see everything. The stingrays come right up to you as if they can't wait to be petted. Overall it was a good experience to do once but it's not an everyday kind of thing.

This was a ton of fun, and not too expensive, either. I think my boyfriend's ticket (only to see/pet the stingrays, not to feed them) was $5.99, and mine was a "value ticket" (feed for the stingrays, which ended up being raw shrimp, plus admission) was $7.50.
It's in the Aquarium area at the Kemah boardwalk. He used to go to the Aquarium restaurant when he lived in Houston, so we had a quick snack there and then came here. You walk in through a gift shop and then can purchase tickets. There's also another small area where you can see amphibians and other fishes, too.
You must wash/sanitizer your hands before touching the stingrays and I'd recommend probably doing that after, too. It was a hoot to have the stingrays eat straight from my hands (albeit weird - they have gums but no teeth!) and totally worth the $5.99-$7.50 admission. I'd like to come here next time I'm in town as well.

This was amazing, would be nice if there was more exhibit s. I still am not sure how they got the fish in there mouths

If you are at Kemah, you have to stop in a feed the stingrays. It's just a fun thing to do. The grand kids drag me down there every time they visit!!! Another fun day!!!

Came here from a recommendation, glad we did. Cheap to get in, several fish tanks are there, but the highlight is the large waist level tank with the Stingrays. They offer food to hand feed them and encourage petting. A pretty cool experience!

My kidos were able to touch ichy sea animals and then they wanted to do it again and again. We also were able to see many difgerent things and learn a lot.

Stingray Reef, where you can touch and feed live stingrays! The kids had a blast feeding and petting the stingrays, they also got to see hundreds of other fish and piranhas, snakes, scorpions, tarantulas, turtles, etc... Be sure to read instructions on how to properly feed the stingray...those things can bite a finger if not careful. The cost is $5.25 per person, kids under three are free. $2.50 for the stingray food or there is a pass/food combo for $6.99 per person. They are located at the aquarium restaurant in the gift shop. Great adventure after eating. Recommend!

Stingrays seemed uninterested, maybe they had already eaten too much. But decent price to see & touch them if you love sea creatures.

We visited yesterday and enjoyed feeding and petting the stingrays. I could stand and watch them forever!

We fed the Stingrays and were amazed at how friendly they were! They swam up to the edge of the tank and flapped their “wings” over the side. Lots of fun if your budget permits!

This was such a fun and exciting experience!! Looking at all of the cool fish and snakes and turtles was fun, but the most fun was seeing and petting and feeding the stingrays! I have never seen my son laugh so much and the stingrays were so fun ! Thanks for making this such an affordable and fun experience!

We had a wonderful time. It is well worth the trip to see the stingrays. My daughter had never been before and she was entranced by them.

Multiple stingrays had bloody wounds on them! Poor things are clearly not taken care of. There wasn’t an employee in sight either

Beautiful aquariums with a diverse variety of fish. Huge tank filled with stingrays that you can buy food for and feed. That was quite an experience looking down at this alien creature looking up at me and taking the fish off my hand. It was a hoot watching the children - you have to put your entire hand in the water to do the feeding. There is also a gift shop. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the fish, questions were welcomed.

Stingrays and other creatures close to home on the Boardwalk. Reasonable fee and fun for all to see and touch.

I LOVE Stingrays, so of course we had to stop here while we were in town. It’s a really small Aquarium, but for the price it’s worth it. You get to pet and feed the stingrays. My husband and I went without our kids and had a nice time. I’d say it’s fun for adults and children.

Feeding the stingrays was alot of fun - the price was great they offered a military discount too. The staff were very knowledgeable about the different fish they had.

My husband and I really enjoyed being able to touch and feed the sting rays. What an amazing experience!

Four of us adults visited the Aquarium and Stingray Reef. Loved the fish tanks and all the fish. The young lady working at the Reef was helpful and informative about the rays and other fish in the tanks. Wash your hands before touching the rays, then again afterwards. You can feed them but it is extra. Loved watching them flow around the huge tank. Fun and reasonably priced.

Hands on experience where you can touch and feed the stingrays. Especially fun on a hot day, expect to get splashed and share some fun with family and friends.

Although the exhibit is somewhat small, it was very interesting and the kids really enjoyed it. They loved feeding the stingrays! The woman working in the exhibit was knowledgeable and friendly, and she readily answered my questions about them. It was a very inexpensive and fun family outing!

This is a must if you are at the Kemah Boardwalk. We paid for the value pass which was $6.99 a person. It included a ticket in the door and food to feed the stingrays. It was a really fun experience and the stingrays are so soft and smooth to the touch. We were there during the alligator feeding and got to see that as well. They have other aquariums and rainforest wildlife there but the fun was with the stingrays. While you are there eat at the Aquarium Restaurant.

It is not a big place. I was thinking it would be bigger but it was a cool little attraction. My husband and I did like feeding the stingrays. It was a good experience.

My husband and I happened upon the sting rays and were so glad that we did. It was very reasonably priced ($6.99 each, includes entrance and food to feed the rays). We had so much fun. We also enjoyed checking out the other animals in the exhibit.

I think it was $5-6 to get in but really nothing to see. If you have small kids that want to feed the stingrays it might be good, but outside of that don't bother.

So awesome. I overcame a fear, touching and feeding a stingray! While there may only be a few things to see and interact with, We were able to enjoy it. For just a few bucks you could spend time with some cool creatures.

The aquarium is a little small but the stingray pool was pretty awesome lots of stingrays some really big ones too really fun time feeding them definitely need to go on the list of : cannot miss!!!!!

This was our second visit to see the sting rays and I am so glad we did! We love feeding the sting rays and this time they had babies!

This was OK. You can feed the mantas but they weren't very interested when I was there, I think they had had too much. The displays were OK.

Did not eat at the attached Aquarium restaurant but enjoyed the fish and stingrays. Very reasonable admission (entrance located in the gift shop). Several large tanks containing eels and fish. One tank even had piranha. Also have an alligator and some animated figures (a snake above you, a gorilla in a tree) that move & make sounds when you get close. The most fun (and a little scary at least for me!) was actually feeding the sting rays. They come right up, swim over your hand, and take the fish from your closed hand. An easy, close drive from Houston.

For less than $10. we got to go in and check out the small aquarium on the Kemah Boardwalk. The Stingray Reef was a fun highlight to our trip. Even though there is not much to it other than touching and feeding the stingrays it was a safe (albeit wet) way to interact. If you have never touched a stingray or experienced them first hand this was a great way to get introduced to aquatic nature.

My wife took our daughter to feed the stingrays and they seemed to enjoy it. The tickets didn't seem like they were crazy. The store did seem a little overpriced. I picked up several things, looked at the price and put them back down. The staff let a person in our group to go back to my wife to get something from her without charging us for a ticket which was appreciated. Most places would be jerks and try to charge you.

My son wanted to go and touch the stingrays and it was fun. We really enjoyed this experience and you can scare them a lil. LOL!

My kids really enjoyed being able to pet and feed the stingrays. They are very friendly and swim right up to you. The aquarium itself is small but worth a walk through. Good family spot.

Love petting the sting rays and feeding them. Several of them like to splash you along the edge of their tank. The small aquarium exhibit is good for smaller kids.

This was a TON of FUN!!! The stingrays were very active and we paid to feed them and it was AWESOME! They were coming up out of the water during the feeding and splashing us... so BEWARE, but we had a wonderful experience and will be back!

The Stingray reef is certainly the highlight of the aquarium at the Kemah Boardwalk. I might not go out of my way to do just the aquarium, but I would make it part of my day trip or weekend adventure to all thinks Kemah. You can get up close to, touch and feed the stingrays it is a fun experience

The stingrays are delightful young and old alike. They come up right to you. Food is available to feed them. You might even see some Dolphins! Nice atmosphere at the Kemah Boardwalk. Unique treat right on the water with numerous restaurants nearby. Other activities in a family friendly atmosphere.
Rides for the kids.

Fun and educational. The stingrays are so sweet and tame. If you feed them, they demand your attention, like puppies.

Feed the stingrays and pet them too, you may get wet, but its fun. Not too expensive, we think its worth it! You can also walk around and see the small aquariums with beautiful fish, frogs, tarantula, snake and the lifelike, moving gorillas and elephant like Rainforest Cafe has.

Sting Ray Reef was a fun place.... Not only for kids but adults as well. I never knew that you can pet stingrays. I've always been scared of them. But we were able to feed them, pet them. When they swam away, they wave at you!

everything was great, I think its wonderful. hopefully your family will enjoy it. Wonder time and around great for family.

This was a small aquarium with a small petting tank. We must have arrived right after feeding time because none of the stingrays where interested in eating the food or coming near us to be pet. Kids still had fun!

Our kids got to touch the sting ray. They talked about it all day. They went home with a great experience.

Such a fun experience. Staff is nice and very informative. You must feed these babies. A different experience. I laughed a lot. The aquarium is also fun to check out.

What a cool thing to do! Fun for the whole family and good restaurants and other fun around. Give it a try

The only good thing is you can feed the stingrays. There are few other fishes also. For my point of view this place does not warrant a visit by itself but if you go to kemah it is one of the places that you can visit. had a fun time time here

Fun for the family. Recommend to go when you can feed the stingrays. They feed at the top of the hour. Watch out for random slashing from hungry Stingrays.

Great place to visit, especially with kids! Don't forget to feed the stingrays - it's safe and so fun!

Kids and families enjoy feeding and touching the stingrays. Educational and family fun. Not crazy expensive--reasonable. Good memories for the kiddos.

We have something similar to this at our local aquarium but the rays at ours are a third the size of Kemahs! These rays were huge and intimidating! Feeding them was fun and my two year old loved the whole Aquarium experience. For two adults, a free toddler and two feeding trays, it was about $15. We spent about an hour there and laughed the whole time. Worth it.

It was ok..kids did not seem to amused. But it was something to do. Just a lil bored. Kids were allowed to touch, if they wanted

This is a tiny aquarium on the Kemah Boardwalk. The aquarium part is really no bigger than the average living room. Less than a dozen tanks. The main attraction near is the pool where you can feed the Stingrays. Entries only $5.25 but to feed the Stingrays it's like 2 or 2:50. It's not bad if you're here but it's definitely not worth going out of your way for

The rays come right up to you for the food, almost seeming to climb the wall to visit you. Very cool for adults and kiddos.

If you have never seen large live stingrays, then this is quite interesting. My grandkids love to feed them! But once you have visited, there is no reason to return.

Went with grandkids, age 10 and 6. They both loved it. Loved feeding the stingrays & my oldest grandchild, love the splashes you get from the stingrays flipping around in the water.
If you have never seen live stingrays, this is a must do.

This was the first time I had ever fed stingrays, me and the kids had a wonderful time. The people that worked there were great.

Very small Aquarium with not much to see so I can only give it an average rating. It's $7 per person to get into the Aquarium AND feed the stingrays. It's cheaper if you don't want to feed them. That was honestly the best part and they must have been hungry because they were practically jumping out of the water for the food. The staff was really nice and it was a good way to get out of the sun for 30 minutes or so. There is also a restaurant upstairs but we chose not to eat there.

Feeding the stingrays was so much fun to do on Christmas Day and we were so happy that they were open. It was reasonably priced too! We enjoyed seeing the tanks with the other fish while there. It is a small attraction but well kept and enjoyable.

Feeding the stingray's was so awesome. There was someone right there to show us how to feed them. We got to pet them and there were so many. It was awesome.

Place was clean, several tanks with stingrays and kids have the opportunity to pet them and help feed them, they explain to you the history and how they reproduce and overall a good experience for the whole family especially if you have little children.

If you go here, don't wear clothes you don't want to get wet in! These little suckers are playful and love to splash the water. It was great fun being able to pet them, and one of those unique experiences that stays with you.

I've been having experience encounter with sting rays in Cozumel, Mexico which was wonderful. But hey you don't have to go Mexico and still can do it at the kemah boarwalk for $7 and $5 if you don't want to feed the sting rays, but you should feed them. It's the best experience
Those who have younger children, should take them and i'm sure they will love it. Even adults love it.
The sting rays are super friendly.
They even have a small pool with babies sting rays, super cute

Was scared at first then gained trust. I followed the feeding instructions and all went well still have all my fingers LOL.

Yeah its kinda expensive (everything is at The Boardwalk) however when else do ya get to hand feed a stingray! Its fun...try it

If your going to feed StingRays thats fun but the aquarium not so much. We had to wait over an hour for the cashier to arrive so we could buy our tickets so that sucked but over all it there are plenty of stingrays so you can pet them, feed them, and actually experience them.

Don't be expecting a "real" aquarium but the kids had fun feeding the stingrays. They also need soap in their dispensers for after you feed them - only had anti bacterial so hands still smelled.

Very fun. Enjoyed feeding and touching the stingrays. Food to feed the stingray it not included but should be.

I took my daughter here. I think I was more excited about this than she was. I think they should give more food for the amount of money that you spend. It was fun and I would have spent more time there if my daughter had not wanted to go

We were able to feed shrimp to the stingrays and small sharks. It was a blast! We got a little wet and it was totally worth it. They come right up to the edge of tank. Very easy to reach and touch them.

This is a great place for all ages. You can pet the stingrays and feed them. There is a window down low so small children can see them.

Me and my husband took her 9 month old and he really enjoyed seeing all the fish and frogs and stingrays. I love the fact that they had a turtle in a mini alligator that was really fun the price is extremely reasonable for the size of the aquarium and it was a great time we joked and laughed and took a lot of pictures in there

Overpriced but fun to do with the kids. Always amazing to find something to do with your family and animals.

The stingray exhibit is wonderful and the stingrays are very friendly. I would have stayed much longer if I'd had more food... You can pet them and they are a big hit with all ages! Highly recommend!

This is located in the aquarium restaurant on the Kemah boardwalk area. It is an area connected to restaurant that requires a separate admission fee. In this area there are aquariums with different type of fish and critters. The main draw however, is the large petting tank where you are able to purchase food and hand feed the stingrays. Tons of fun for kids and adults.

Ok yes it is small and expensive for what it is but it really is fun! BUT! If/when you go head to the back of the stingray tank by the sinks they have signs explaining how to feed the stingray. Like most we walked in and positioned ourselves near entrance and fed the way we thought. Then when finished went to wash hands and saw how your supposed to. So ended up going back to buy more food.
as said was really fun feeding theses cute guys.

As most have said, it is a small little aquarium. But my kids and friends loved this place. They loved being able to feed the sting rays. And there are a few other little animals in there as well. They have a small gift shop too that my kids like to go throw to each find a little gift to take home. It is inexpensive and great fun for all of us.

Our teens loved it! Very nice guide who was informative and funny. So many different stingrays to touch and feed! Went here after eating at the cool Aquarium restaurant upstairs and loved them both.

I took my grandchildren to Stingray Reef and they had a blast. You have the option of purchasing minnows to feed them and we did. The kids (and I) had fun feeding and petting the stingrays. If you like sealife, visit the rays when you go to Kemah.

Had a blast watching and feeding the stingrays. Got alittle wet when feeding them but it was worth it for the fun time.

Stingray Reef was an all right experience for what it was which is a very small aquarium. Based on how well Landry's does their other attractions I was expecting much more. Other than feeding the stingrays which wasn't available, we went thru the rest of the aquarium in less than an hour.

This attraction consists of a waist high pool in which small stingrays swim around (and sadly, it's probably not a great environment for them) the pool. People can stand around the pool and pet or feed (you must buy the food) the stingrays. As an ocean love/diver, I loved seeing and petting the 'rays, though I am not sure it is the best thing for the 'rays. There were a couple other small exhibits (one was a crocodile), but the stingrays were by far the main attraction.

It was ok not as good as sea world in san antonio. Kids had a great time. Only wish you could wade in the water and feed them.

This is my favorite place to go when we go to Kemah. We always have to stop and feed the stingrays! It is an awesome experience just to touch them. They have added more to it since the last time I went several years ago. Fun for everyone, my 12 month loved watching them swim by.

Just plain fun while actually learning something and the animals. Feeding is a big portion of the fun and watching them move around. So come on in and enjoy, you are missing out.

This was so much fun, that we went back twice. It was so cool to be able to touch the Stingrays, and to feed them. Their mouths are underneath them. They actually come up out of the water 5-6 inches. The feel of their mouths is like a baby sucking on a binky, so weird. I just laughed and laughed at my wife, because she was like ew whenever they would touch her hand with their mouths. It is fun for people of all ages.
