I thought this place was a local, outdoor marketplace. It's just Target and DSW and other stuff like that. Meh. I wouldn't even bother with this place if you're visiting from out of town/state. Waste of time if you're looking to experience Tempe

a great outdoor shopping area with some of retail biggest names. this is spread over a large area well lite and great parking. There is entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights and I was shocked at the quality during the xmas season. definitely a go to

We had appetizers and a drink at Bar Louie before we went to see a movie in the nearby theater. I was disappointed that they did not have blended margaritas but I had a Long Island Iced Tea which was delicious and the use plenty of alcohol. We had a delicious appetizer called the Trio.

I took the free Orbit bus service to get the the Marketplace. I went to go see a movie. The shopping area was very nice and had lots of misters which made the area very cool.

A great shopping center for all budgets. Lots of chains where you’ll recognize the names. Outdoor seating both in the mall and many of the restaurants. You can go alone or it can be a family event. Small water feature for the kids to run in and out of. When you get hungry, you have your choice of high end or quick and casual. Plan to spend at least 3 hours to shop and eat. Plenty of parking and close to the freeway exit.

This isn't a high-end mall but it does have a lot of "essential" stores and restaurants (and movie theatre). You'll need to go to Scottsdale if you want Neiman-Marcus and higher end restaurants etc.

Many different merchants -- mostly chains -- offer their wares. We had a couple of hours to "spare" so we opted for browsing and lunch at Tempe Marketplace.

Love the concept of this outdoor mall. Great shopping. I especially like DSW and JCPenney. Great little water area for kids and a cozy fire for the winter time. Easy access to here from the interstate. Nice big outdoor mall!

If you are in Tempe, best way to get things in one place is that Tempe market place. You can get all stuffs here at pretty decent price

Real nice out door mall. great places to shop or sit and people watch.
Loved Sidneys cafe' Empanadas were delicicious.

A really nice outdoor shopping mall with a good selection of shops, restaurant's and a cinema. The Greek Pita is a good place to eat with great food.

Loved this experience. We had our dog with us and all of the stores we entered were so very nice. All personnel asked how they could assist and were very pleasant.
The stores are well spaced and everything seemed very clean. Highly recommend the shops and restaurants.

There's a lot of the necessary places to do business. The restaurants and fast food places are quite varied; something for everyone. The misting system makes a walk thruout the Marketplace quite comfortable. Parking is substantial. Access from the freeways are very easy.

Our family of 7 has pre-purchased tickets to the movie, Men in Black but, because of unforeseen events beforehand, we needed to exchange our tickets for a later showing. Patrick, the manager on Father's Day, was kind & had no problem exchanging the tickets for the next showing.
When ordering snacks & drinks for 5 adults & 2 kids, Gabe never skipped a beat, even providing me extra butter for the movie (for when the popcorn gets dry).
After the movie, our grandchildren wanted to enjoy the arcade & our grandson won a minor prize on 1 game, however, ALL of the minor prizes were gone. I went to the manager, Patrick, to alert him that the game/machine is, basically, empty & he immediately, without my asking or prompting, printed out a popcorn voucher for my grandson & thanked me for letting him know.
We have been patrons of the Harkins theaters for yrs but, THIS particular Harkins is hands down 1 of the best!

I’m visited this market with my family to grab a few things we don’t have at home (Canada). My favorite stores in this complex are Target, Marshall’s, and World Market.
I love that they have shaded areas and a splash area for kids. It is easy to get to driving or transit. If it wasn’t so hot, I could walk from my hotel near the university.

There are many stores here to choose from. I've been to quite a few but not all of them! The theater here is very good. Parking can be tricky at times, it's so popular!

It was just a quaint place with lots of activity. We walked down to the river and there was fair going on. It was beautiful little park. It was nice place to slow down.

Portillo’s was the highlight of this trip .
Better shopping elsewhere. Nothing wrong with the place but my advice is skip it .

If you are looking for a one stop shop, Tempe Market Place is your best option! Conveniently located near the 101 and 202, it has shopping, food and entertainment! This is a family friendly environment.

This is a nice large outdoor mall with beautiful water features and fireplaces which to sit around. There are many stores including the anchor stores like Best Buy,Target and Penny's. I enjoyed the items in World Market and bought some things that are difficult to find elswhere. I wanted to write a review on the Greek Pita restaurant there, but couldn't find a previous review. I found the gyros so good here! They are some of the very best and full of meat.I will have to try other items on their menu. You can spend an day here walking through only some of the stores! There is a Harkin movie theater in the food court area too. Easy on and off the 202 loop.

My husband and I met friends at Smashburger a few days ago. The food and atmosphere was so enjoyable. My husband loves the roasted brussel sprouts. There are many healthy options for those who want chicken or salads, etc. The service was quick and friendly as well as professional. Will most definitely go again!

If you're looking for something to do in and around Tempe, AZ, go check out Tempe Marketplace. There is a good variety of store all around the huge parking lots and restaurants to satisfy anyone.

neat collection of popular stores and restaurants. we tried this destination on a Saturday nite and the wait at every eating establishment was over an hour. Entertainment on the square. Nice enough place to spend an evening; but, prices are way up there.

Excellent outside stores, and the theater is the best one in Tempe. Has beautiful scenery and i recommend The Thirsty Lion. Incredible....

Very nice shopping center with many great deals & free tickets to events if you spend a certain amount in a day.Log onto Tempemarketplace.com before you go to find out for yourself, all the information you'll need is right there. No lies, plus features for locals as well. Live concert schedules, ect...
So just take it from this man!
Enjoy...
🤟

The Tempe Market Place was great! There was live music and there is something for all ages to enjoy. What a great place to eat and shop.

Tempe Marketplace is an open-air shopping center. No air conditioning while you walk between shops. You may need to hop on your car to get from one store to another. However, having a Barnes & Noble bookstore makes up for what it lacks. The Barnes & Noble bookstore here is well-stocked. They even carried numerous Pacific Rim: Uprising action figures.

This place is so awesome! If you're a shopaholic you should come here. Come more when it's nice outside, because it's not good to shop when you're cold (but you could buy a jacket😆). If you're expecting there to be a Forever 21, sadly there isn't but if you like to shop any where then come here for a movie, clothes, food, and a good book from Barns and Noble, this place is for you. Please care to visit them!

Neat outside. Shopping. Fun things. For kids nice entertainment. By musicians. Comfy outside. Seating Lots of stores and restaurants

We drove to Tempe expecting a unique shopping experience. While there were quite a few stores, they were mostly chain stores and nothing very unique. We were there during the day, but with the restaurants, movies and clubs, it may have been more fun in the evening if you were looking for nighttime entertainment.

This is a large outdoor mall. Lots odd sites of all varieties, ergo lots to choose from. Stores and restaurants and lots of sunshine!!

I'm from Chicago but visit Arizona about every other month, I Love, love shopping at this place!! So many shops and great places to eat! And The Stanley Cup visited there just a few weeks ago! This shopping area has it all! I highly recommend this place!!!

This outdoor mall area has many retail establishments as well as numerous dining options. Parking was a bit of a challenge on the weekend. Otherwise, a great location for shopping and dining.

Tempe marketplace has some really good stores to shop at as well as food choices. You can get restraunt style or quick to go food. If your looking for a nice time out side and shop then go here.

This was quite a place to visit with many nice restaurants and upscale shops. Parking is centralized and one can walk around easily.

Nice and cool. All the games we played were working. No issues there. Purchased the unlimited play for $50 - unfortunately she did not tell us it was for only certain machines. Would never have purchased it then. Went on a Wednesday so games were 1/2 off.

I love the shops and food areas . Especially love the thirsty lion! This place is so clean; and welcoming! There’s so many different places to eat and shop… Absolutely love this place !!

I love the variety of the shops that are offered but it's kinda confusing to figure out where things are if you are a newbie. The staff at Barnes and noble though are amazing. Always greeted with smiles!

I just went to a few stores, but this mall is huge and has many stores and restaurants. It's outdoors and all on one level. Something for everyone!

If you like to shop this is worth a stop. Nordstrom Rack, a great wine shop. and teh usual chains and some good restaurants. It was packed but worth it.

I enjoy this very clean and modern outdoor mall! Plenty to see, eat and do while you're here. The weekends get very busy so plan ahead! They always seem to have a fun event or new shops opening which is great!

Lots of choices here to shop and eat. There are plenty of options for all...It's pretty spread out, was hoping you could walk to most stores but it's a sprawling area .

Wife and I had an afternoon to find something to do and we took an Uber over to Tempe Marketplace for lunch and shopping. Great place with a lot of options.

Great place for the holidays. Beautiful tree and the have snow fall at night. Lots of great restaurants to check out. Plenty of parking.

Love Tempe Marketplace. It's a one stop destination. Great restaurants, Bar Louie, movie theater, plenty of shopping and conveniently located!!

A very nice mall with a variety of store. We shopped at Best Buy, Old Navy, Famous Footwear, ate at a couple of restaurants. Easy to get around. Shuttle to the Cubs games during spring training. Some the restaurants give discounts when you bring your same day ticket stubs.

That place was great, a lot of little boutiques and some great restaurants ! It is an outdoor shopping center, so it could get a bit hot since right now temperature are going up to 117, but well. :P They spray some water all around, so it can help a bit !

Great place to visit and spend some time walking, shopping and just enjoy the views. This place was clean and lots of parking available.

Has everything. Great shopping. Great restaurants. Live entertainment. (Check their schedule for bands) misters for when it is hot. Giant fire place for when it is cold. Little water sprinklers for kids this outdoor mall try's to accommodate everyone. Every time we visit arizona we come here

loved being in the marketplace and just outside of the regular parking lot, you could view the fireworks display for the Independence day celebration: an extra treat! this is one of the best up kept and diverse malls in the country; and fun for every age. harkins' theatres in case you're in the mood for an extended cool down and a movie! dave and busters' and much more more like body works, and clothing shops with whatever you have in mind...AND SHOES AND FOOD!!! great fun for all!

Lots of stores and eating places in this outdoor shopping/eating area. We went primarily to shop at Barnes and Noble but there were MANY places that would be fun to explore on our next visit. Loved the overhead misting spray!

My first time to visit this place, ( although I live here, ) I was amazed at how big it is, and they have H&M ,my favorite place to shop. Lots of good restaurants, ( I think ) I've only been to two places,,Panera for breakfast and Thirsty Lion.
They also have a theater , and Barnes and Noble, Nordstrom rack, awesome place to shop., although I wouldn't venture out here in the summer, its just too hot unlike a mall, where its air conditioned.

Many different stores, beautifully decorated & architecture mall, many different food selections available. They have an area that has more than 15+ different restaurants, great place to enjoy lunch after being indoors all morning. Good place to go when no one in the office can agree to go eat, there are 15+ places to pick from. Parking is free and stress-free, it’s all ground level. I think it’s the nicest place to shop in the Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe area. It’s easy to get to, right off the highway.

This place is fun. It took me several visits before I realized that the walking part of the outdoor mall runs along the North side of the Shopping Complex. It's hard to see unless someone tells you where it is. There's good parking and a large Cinemark theater at the end of the Mall. Lots of popular stores and good outdoorish type restaurants. Casual and a fun evening atmosphere.

Great place to shop, eat and enjoy live music.
We went there at sunset, which was lovely. It is a great place to walk around, there's live music, lots of shops and restaurants.

We were out and about while visiting Arizona and decided to stop at the Tempe Marketplace to see what it was all about.......just your pretty average mall I guess you could say. There is an outer border with like Target, Best Buy, DSW, 5 Below etc then there is an inner border that is walking outside from shop to shop one section has all restaurants, the another section is like clothes, sunglasses, Barnes and Noble etc your normal shops. It's a pretty walk lots of plants and the misters are going to keep you cool in between shops. There is a walkway that has colorful umbrellas opened and hanging above your head to keep some shade. There is also a stage where they have bands near the center of the shopping center and these cool huge murals of artists like Prince, John Lennon, Whitney Houston that was neat too see, they also have a chalk wall the says I WOULD________________ then you fill in the rest of the sentence something fun. I didn't see it myself but I guess there is a gameroom and Dave and Busters for the kids enjoyment.
It was cool although that wasn't the kind of shopping I was looking for, I was looking for more unique , unusual things, but still a nice place to shop.

Mostly clothing stores, food "court", and outer perimeter shops and upscale casual dining. Not a bad place, open air, and clean. But not a place I will drive out of my way to go to. I was in the area so stopped in for lunch and to kill time at a bookstore.

We visited for the tree lighting on Thanksgiving Eve. The place was packed with people. There were lights, music and giveaways.

This is a relatively easy way to do a fair amount of shopping in one place without worrying about finding parking. There is a large Target that is well stocked, but VERY busy with students. There is also a fairly well stocked Total Wine and a decent variety of standard "mall stores". If you are stuck living in this area, the Tempe Marketplace is an acceptable spot to do your usual shopping.

Plenty of stores to choose from, restaurants too, centrally located in the Phoenix Metro area. Close to many attractions.

We really like that there was such a variety of stores and places to eat . It was so nice and open. It was also very clean .

I love this shopping center. The location is centrally located and convenient from either the 101 or 202. It is close to the ASU campus or the airport. Love Ross Dress For Less and the California Pizza Kitchen.

We, two adults, had a good time, taking the bus around Phoenix visiting Tempe. Transportation was good but the drivers weren't that helpful as to other bus connections or exits.

Movie theater was pretty good and tickets were averaged priced. Not too crowded.
Were able to find a movie playing that had been out for a while.

An excellent place from shopping to dining, this open end has it all. Movies, great eats, and clothing stores all at a very reasonable price. To boot, on the side it has a great hot dog place, Target, Old Navy, and more on its outskirts, but the inner stage is where more is happening. Music, big screens, a must for the tourist to see and acknowledge. An inexpensive enjoyable afternoon.

This huge complex has everything for a day or more of shopping, entertainment, and eating, and eating and any meal you want to eat and any snack you might want!

This outdoor mall has a great mix of shopping and dining. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and new everything was. Huge Barnes and Nobles bookstore and across the parking lot Target and JC Penny etc.

We love this mall! All decked out for the holidays, snowfall, live music....Great shops and all around fun for kids of all ages!

Beautiful and Fun! Now that is a NICE outdoor mall, unlike the pathetic ones in Albuquerque, and Sanata Fe. which by the way, really dont have the weather for that sort of mall.. Tempe, which is located and in many ways a part of Phoenix AZ, is very nice, Did I mention it is nice,,, They even have fireplaces burning.. which may seem odd, since it never gets cold or snows there, So it makes it a unique attraction, and fun to sit around these huge fireplace sculptures. Also some of the nicest shops and attractions such as Dave and Busters.

Boy, is this place large and it's not a mall but an outdoor shopping centre. I'm not sure how many square blocks it is, but it you can't find what you want, then you must be in the wrong spot. I was only looking for a few things, cause you know us guys hate to shop. Anyways, they have a huge Target along with a zillion other stores, but I found my sandals in a shoe store next to Targets. There's a food section across the parking area from Targets, that has some outside restaurants and Christmas music was playing through speakers mounted throughout this shopping centre - even in this vast outside parking lot. Not a great shopper, but I liked this one a lot.

A really well kept shopping and entertainment area, with lots of great stores, bars, restaurants, and other attractions. I don't think you'll be disappointed. There's something for just about everyone.

Each visit to the Phoenix area brings us to the Tempe Marketplace. It has a pleasant atmosphere with numerous shops and eateries. Take a leisurely walk as you look into each shop. Plenty of parking. Have fun!

Tempe Marketplace is the place to be for shopping, dining, drinking, browsing and movie going. Meet a friend, bring a date. Try a new bar or restaurant before you go in to see a movie or afterwards. Nice place to just hang out and enjoy your time with family or friends. Or just to on your own. Shopping and get your lunch to go or sit down and have a meal. Not much you can't do here on ways of entertainment. Even Live bands hit the outdoor stage at times on the weekends. Have fun, relax, enjoy.

There is something for every one here! A ton of stores and main plaza was decorated so nice for Christmas including a "snowstorm" every night at 7 and 8, hokey but fun. I loved all the little seating areas, really well thought out. Movies, food, shopping, it's a great place to also just walk.

My family and I went here to shop around and see what this place had to offer and it was awesome. Great water features, fire places, splash pad, and great shops. The latest be music on Friday night was awesome, the kids loved the area and didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend this place on your next trip to the Phoenix area.

Tempe marketplace is awesome! Has a good array of stores and is constantly updating the food choices. If you’re heading there in the summer please note that all walking is outdoors, and even though there are some misters it is still very hot!

This open air space had many stores and restaurants to keep visitors busy. There were several places to sit outside and the marketplace provides misters and fans to keep the area cool. It was clean with plenty of parking and a variety of food items. There was some outdoor activities, but we went late in the day and missed them.

This was my first time here and I really enjoyed it. There are some nice sitting areas and they turned the fireplace on as the evening got cold. There is a little something for everyone. Shopping , eating and movies. Reaaly enjoyed hanging out here with friends.

If you are looking to do some shopping or even some socializing then Tempe Marketplace is a great place for you! The Marketplace is a beautiful outdoor mall! It has lots of outdoor seating and misting machines to keep you cool! There was a variety of shops! Also, the bookstore had a coffee shop inside! I loved my time at Tempe Marketplace and wast very impressed with the cleanliness! I would recommend you stop in.

This shopping center has a lot to offer. A few big box stores and a lot of small shops. Many places to eat. Plus a great movie theater. It is a great destination if you want to get some shopping done and grab something to eat. They have a large variety of food. Something for everyone.

Lots of stores in this area this is our second time in this area in a few weeks. We just moved here to Arizona I’ve had a small chance to walk around and check out some of the stores and walk around it’s actually a little bit too hot at 102° to be out roaming around but a fun place. We will bring people here if someone ever actually comes to visit us

Arizona really holds a place in my heart!!! I visited this place four times in four months and I do something different everytime. My goal on every visit is to find a Pandora and get a charm with either the state on it, something that represents where I am, or a memory piece for my mother. Came to the Tempe Marletplace and found me a Pandora charm… and I went to the movies this place as everything shopping wise that I needed to fulfill my trip :)

When we come to Phoenix we always go to Tempe. We love this area so much - it's picturesque and charming. There's lots of restaurants, shopping and entertainment. It's a hopping place full of fun.

Was attending a college visit at ASU found plenty of dining and shopping opportunities in the Tempe Marketplace was able to easily get there from campus and find a place to park very nice set up.

Tempe Marketplace is a decent outdoor mall - very similar to Desert Ridge or The Pavilions with your standards such as Target, DSW, Ulta and Steinmart. They have a variety of restaurants which I have yet to try, but it's definitely a place I would come back to for shopping.

Very popular with students and most of the stores offer student discounts if you ask. It is an outdoor mall, but during the day, misters are on to help cool off the walkway. Beautiful pace and very clean, I love shopping here.

There are some nice places to shop there. A lot of restaurants within the outdoor shopping center, but they are expensive. Two import shops located directly next-door to each other. Ruby Tuesday's is nice and prices are fairly reasonable.

Great area, near lots of really nice places to eat and they have lots of "hip" stores like JCPenney and old navy and Target! Nice atmosphere as well, handicapped parking, and they have it lit up nicely at night and they play cute music outside!

Whether your shopping, wanting to eat, or stroll the breeze ways Tempe Marketplace has something to do for everyone. I find it versatile as well, if your hanging out or simply just running in and out of a store the selections and crowds are always manuverable. There is only one place I'd steer clear from is the restaurant Cadillac Ranch. The atmosphere is cool, but the food is not great at all! So meeting friends for drinks is cook, but dinner is a no-no!

Still has the classic stores as a regular mall does, but it's outside, so you ARE getting fresh air. It gets crowded quickly, especially with the college so close by. Plenty of places to eat at....again, IF you can get into one of them. We enjoy the outdoor venues--concerts, dance recitals, etc. Even had a flash mob wedding proposal once. Great for tourists!

Sprawling outdoor mall that spans blocks with familiar huge stores like Target, Lane Bryant, Dress Barn, and more. Shop in the evening if you want to store-hop because it is cooler.

Great choices for shopping, eating, and just plain relaxing!! The outdoor seating areas replete with huge outdoor fireplaces and comfy couches, makes for a pleasant way to spend an afternoon or evening.

Has multiple stores, movies/entertainment and restaurants that are easy to get to on feet once you are the location. It is an outside venue. Homewood Suites provided a shuttle to and from. Most of the stores are typical stores located in any city in the US.

Cool place to hang out, but that's about it.
There's stores like in any other shopping plaza/center or mall, like Ross, petsmart, etc... and few restaurants.
The only good thing about this place is the free local concerts. For high end restaurant, I suggest to visit Scottsdale.

There are plenty of places to eat and shops to enjoy while walking around this shopping area. If you park by Barnes and Noble, you can walk the length of the mall rather easily. There are a lot of casual dining spots as well as some more upscale restaurants as well. There are dessert spots as well. Try the frozen cheesecake at Rocky Mountain Chocolate. It is dipped in chocolate and is delicious. Several people can easily share this.

Great Place to Visit. Lots of Good Restaurants and shopping available. Well worth spending a couple hours there.

I went to an event on Saturday afternoon. I almost had to leave because the handicapped parking is sparse. For example, at the north entrance by Lucille's, there were only 2 spaces! Finally I lucked out and got a close regular parking space.
It was hard to get around because it was so crowded.
The map of the facility does not show where handicapped parking is.
If you are disabled, you may want to find out when it's slow there and go then.

This is only 1 block from my brother condo. The night setting in and every saturday night is awesome here at the market :) live concert endless great food and to top it off my bestie and i always enjoy Daves n Buster this place is awesome .

While there are a lot of large and small shoppes, they are spread over a large area. This means getting in your vechile and driving to the next group of stores. And the same can be said for the restaurants.
Lots of parking and easy to find and a good selection of venues such as movies, wine and liquor stores and some brand name clothing stores.
It overall inconvenient to get around.

I completed all of my Christmas shopping here, and could stop for lunch with every option imaginable. There’s Target, sports stores, makeup stores, tech and cellphone service stores, home stores, bargain stores, bookstores.. for dining, there’s fast food, fine dining, and everything inbetween. There’s a movie theatre, as well as live performances, and a splash pad. Oh, and a gas station. Seriously, what am I missing?

We spent 2 hours here and I would have liked to have had more time. This is an outdoor mall which also offers food and entertainment. There was a musical celebration going on in honor of Arizona's 100th Birthday, and it was fun to hear local musicians performing as we walked along the shady sidewalks with blooming vines and colorful vendors as well as many shops. The name is misleading a bit, because I expeceted it to be some sort of rustic "farmers market" type place, but it is actually a huge mall with name brand stores and restaurants. I loved being able to find so much shade, and outdoor eating options. There is also a nice movie theater here. Something for everyone.

I had to spend the week in Mesa and found this shopping area only 1 1/2 miles from my hotel! I am not a large mall person so this worked out very well. Lots of dining and entertainment choices (Harkins Theater)and shopping included a Nordstrom Rack and Penzeys, Old Navy and more. Good location and great parking.

I was surprised that it was a fairly comfortable walking in this outdoor shopping center. It is hot going from the bigger shops on the edge, such as Target and Penney's, but as soon as you're in the main part with the smaller shops, it's nicer (a lot of misters). Most of the shops are standard ones found in basic malls, but thee are a lot of food choices.

Because this is one of those new shopping malls that are outside, it can be quite hot walking from store to store. Especially since this one, is rather large. It is extremely busy on the weekends and holidays and worth avoiding during those times. It has some anchor stores such as JC Penney, Nordstrom Rack, Cost Plus, and many more, but also some unusual smaller stores. However, the smaller stores come and go. The newest is Panera Bread which is yummy and has some outside seating for when the weather is tolerable.

Fun market place to go with a variety of stores and restaurants. Restaurants not as good as shopping experiences. But great variety of places

So this place is definitely one of the coolest malls I've ever been to and I spent most of my teen age years at the mall of America. This place is a must do at night, because the atmosphere glows. This spot has all the stores in an outdoor setting. I never knew malls could be like this. Phoenix is so hot that night is the only comfortable time. Movie theatre, Dave and Busters, Target, Game Stop, Everything you could want.

WE fuirst went to the Marketplace to eat and returned another day to shop. Lots of great stores and an exciting atmosphere. Plenty of great eating places. Warning, you may really search for parking!

Lots of restaurants and shopping and good entertainment.

Really enjoyed shopping here. The jb Penney was very good and there are several good stores like target, best buys, Barnes and noble and many more. We went there just to buy a suitcase band had lunch at the cafe in Barnes and noble. Got the shuttle back to our hotel.

I love tempe marketplace it is a great place to go weather you are meeting friends, having dinner, seeing a movie, shopping or just need some different family time.

What a FABULOUS SHOPPING & DINING VENUE❤️!! Usually when I’m in town I only go into Target…. I discovered a whole WORLD of the most fantastic restaurants. Tonight I dined @ Kabuki Japanese Restaurant🥰… LOVED It!!!

Very nice place to spend time. Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Close to attractions. Food court was good. We ate at the Greek Pita which was a ton of food at very reasonable prices. Very tasty too. Nice Nordstrom The Rack with helpful and friendly employees. On thing is the Marketplace is very spread out so if you don't want to walk you will have to drive from group of buildings. Check out the stores list on line before going if you are looking for something in particular but it is quite extensive!

This is a nice, outside shopping area that has plenty of stores to browse in. There were also a lot of nice places to eat, all of which seemed to have outside dining.

so we had a chance to stop by here on the way to Vegas. used it as a break.
i have to say it was nice. lots of shops. lots of variety. not being from PHX area, of course, the heat was difficult. however, with the use of the misters and the cooling areas, they have made this kind of nice. dont get me wrong---its still super hot, especially in July. however, that being said, the OPEN mall was made bearable.
as for the types and quality of vendors, it was nice. i would go and look around--a good selection.

Enjoy going to Tempe Marketplace for shopping and dining. The movie theatre is and grounds are always clean which is a huge plus. Not the best place to go when it's the dead of summer because it's all outdoors shopping.

I decided to try their tuesday tacos night. There were horrible. Don't order them. I was served actual large pieces of fat. the tacos were so small that two bites would take care of them. I must add, however, that the manager of the place was very gracious and did not charge us for it and recognize the poor quality of his own product. The games in that locationappeared awesome.

Restaurants, shops, and entertainment. Very large and spread out, so it is a little difficult finding places here unless you know the approximate location

If you are new to Arizona and are visiting either Mesa or Tempe, want to go shopping? Well Tempe Marketplace has a wide variety of shops and stores that you can choose from. Stores like Walmart, Best Buy, Target, and JC Penny. There are also some smaller stores which can be found in northern end of the marketplace known as “The District”. Over there you have Quicksilver, Coldstone, Bath & Body Works, Pac Sun, and Harkins Theater.
Let’s first start off with the main shopping district for Tempe Marketplace. As you pull into it, you can already see that there are stores around you. Think of Tempe Marketplace as a bowl that’s shaped in an oval. On the outside are the stores and in the middle are all of the parking lots that take up most of the space. It’s kind of a fun way of looking at it in my opinion.
When trying to park, it can be a little tricky. There are some areas where you can only go one way in to park and one way out. The other lots, like in front of Best Buy, are your average parking lot. If you are one of those people who try to get the closest spot to the store, good luck. Most of them might already be taken. But you will definitely find a spot that’s likely close to the store of your choosing.
Now the part of Tempe Marketplace where I think it’s the best part about it, “The District”. As I said before, this is located at the northern end of Tempe Marketplace. I like to think of it as a little town because when you’re walking down where the shops are to the sides of you, it just makes you feel as if you’re not in Tempe Marketplace anymore. All of the decorations also add the effect, whether there the lights or the fountains, you will find the “District” to be more like your own little home town. If you really want to see the “District” in its finest, you should come during the winter season. They really do a great job at bringing out the Christmas spirit when they make it into a “wonderland”. With a huge Christmas tree and lights that make it seem as if snowflakes are falling, the “District” is the place to be to hang out with your friends and family.

Nice open air marketplace with many shops and restaurants for everyone's needs. Theatre and other activities are also available. Plenty of parking. Nicely decorated for the holidays.

Great mall, open air and outside (with tons of shade). A vast array of shops, restaurants, and places to grab a drink. Ideally located right off of the 202/101. Can be bottlenecked getting in and out with traffic, but plenty of parking. Something here for everyone to enjoy of all ages. This place for the holidays will be a huge mad-house, so I probably would not recommend on coming here then.

Large shopping complex, one can easily spend a few hours walking around. It has variety of stores like Best Buy, 🎯 Target, Barnes and nobles and many more. Host of eating places to choose for an excellent dining experience.

This mall is looking good. There is a wide variety of stores and restaurants. We were impressed. Most of stores appeal to young shoppers. There is plenty of free parking.

Nice shops and nice atmosphere where you're walking outdoors in a city center like environment. Cooling provided by shade and mist sprayed from above. Cool!

Met some friends outside near the water works. Given the times we were able to have two tables to ourselves and an umbrella for shade. We spent 2 hours catching up on the events. The mall is very clean and I enjoyed the wall art as well as my visit. Since we arrived early, there was plenty of parking. By the time we left, stores had opened and the parking lot was a bit fuller. There is an ATM and restrooms available in the area. Many stores do require face masks while shopping.

Absolute gridlock. I can't imagine going during the Christmas season!!.took us over a half hour to get out because of gridlock. Nobody was moving either way. As for shop, all the usual suspects.

They have live music on select dates, it's open so you can enjoy a nice summer evening, great to walk around. There's lots of parking and good places to eat.

We had been on a long trip sight seeing ruins and canyons. So the last night we took a stroll through this beautiful outdoor mall. There are lots of spray misters to keep you cool no matter where you walk. The restaurants are all grouped together. They had a lot of nice comfortable outdoor seating areas to people watch. They also had live outdoor music which was really nice. We ended our night with a movie at the Harkins theater. It was a lovely way to end our vacation.

My husband and I went here after dinner one night, and loved just strolling. We did take a break to rest our feet, I got an iced tea at Coffee Bean and Tea, and we sat at the huge fireplace surrounded by a water feature on comfy soft furniture that they have set up at either end of the mall. So relaxing, I didn't want to leave.

One of the Valley’s most visited Shopping Centers, Tempe Marketplace, as an open air, colorful and offering pleasurable walking, perusing, live activities such as music, cinema, window shopping and actual shopping during the months of the year which are conducive for humans in the outdoor Arizona temperate zone. The Marketplace offers many amenities and top tier retailers and pretty darn good dining options – from junk food to BBQ! Parents can actually sip on some nectar as they watch their kids splash in the H2O. It is dog friendly, although make sure they have booties during summer months! I was also surprised, but glad to see EV-Charging Stations available! The one thing about Marketplace’s design I’m not happy with is, that although it was designed to look and feel like a village in many ways, in order to get from the main retail area to the big box and major stores area, is a dessert of a long walk parking area to be able to get to them – usually when you visit a shopping center or mall, you wish to park once. It is still a great place to visit and enjoy and kill quite a few birds with one stone.

Tempe market place is strategically located. It was the nearest shopping area near the hotel where we stayed. Lots of nice restaurants and big shops. There is also a big wine store called Total Wine in Tempe Marketplace. Parking is not a problem.

Great place for business lunch or an ice cream and movie night. Free parking. Great selection of restaurants and entertainment.

How great to be able to eat in a great location and shop and have outdoor entertainment! Just enough stores, too. Hope to go back one day.

Honestly we discovered the Tempe Marketplace kinda by accident when looking for a bookstore. They do have a Barnes and Noble but we quickly discovered that they have a lot more to offer as well. It's an open air shopping center with a little bit of everything. Nice little food court and a few restaurants that are a slightly more upscale as well. We went at night which was a bit more pleasant in terms of the weather. Great place for families with teenagers and younger kids.

Really enjoyed my shopping here, stores for everyone and every need. Also, multiple restaurants to choose from

This mall isn't very far from Mill Ave and the ASU campus when driving, less than 15 minutes or so. I planned an afternoon of shopping at Mill Ave, but after finding that they didn't have many stores, drove to Tempe Marketplace instead.
It is a very pleasant, cute outdoor mall. They have big outdoor fireplaces, fountains, and seating areas. The mall is one story, it's pretty much a straight shot from one end to the other. I think they have some big stores around the outside, not attached to the main mall, but I didn't get to them. The main mall has stores like Victoria's Secret, Gap, Barnes & Noble, and the Coffee Bean. They had a food court as well as some sit down places to eat.
Overall it was a pleasant way to spend a few hours. There's not much here that you probably can't see at a mall at home. They didn't really have souvenir shops like Old Town Scottsdale. I wouldn't say this is a can't miss, it's basically just a mall although it is a nice mall. They do have a movie theater as well.
Bottom line, if you are in Tempe, this mall is fine, but I would rather spend more time in Phoenix, Scottsdale, etc.

Tempe Marketplace has great options for families to eat or shop. Really close to ASU Golf course and easy to get in and out. Lots of parking though veey little shade in the hot sun. Music even in the parking lot and outside shopping/gathering places made it a fun spot to hang out while we were in Tempe.

Enjoyed this marketplace. Visited Penney, bath and body works, h&m, total wine and pets mart. Easy parking. Very clean and convenient

We went here for lunch and some fun with the family. It's nice! Has eating area, sports area, bar area and play area. A little bit of everything for the whole family.

The Sunsey Strip of Arizona.
There are always hopping clubs and good, lively eateries.
Parking is ample and its close to major freeways.

This is a very decent and nice place to shop and dine with friends and family. A variety of good restaurants and stores. After dinner, you can go to see a movie, too. Nice coffee and ice-cream shop near the movie theater. Having a nice walk in the beautiful Arizona weather is another plus.
Great place to kill some time
We had some time to kill towards the end of our trip. Its an outdoor mall but even if you aren't shopping or grabbing a bite to eat (and there are lots of options for each) its just a neat place to walk around.
